OK, need some input as to my gpu set up Is my 250 really doing alot or dump the card and expose my p
I want to add some more goodies to the pc, a kick ass sound sound card but problem is that i only have one pci slot at the bottom of the mobo and on single pci-e left at the top of the mobo left. But i have two pci-e 1x slots hidden behind my lower 250 card. If i dump the 250 and open up the board would i take much of a hit in fps on physx games. I have a vanilla gtx 280 and a 6 core OC to 3.5Ghz.

The good sound cards use the pci-e 1x slots

and is this a good sound card.

I was running an xfi on my pc till it started 'losing' the drivers and would have to be reinstalled every couple weeks. I feared the loss of Alchemy and sound quality, but to be quite honest i haven't noticed a difference with the on-board and any decent game these days has proper 5.1 support.

If you were thinking of one to get the ASIO support for music apps try asio4all instead. My latency is just as low on that :P
