After reading through the FAQ stickied on these forums, theres quite a few 3D solutions I never knew about. However that seems to be quite an old topic, so I wanted to ask everyone around here to see if I could find the perfect solution.
1: I want a decent 3D setup for my laptop. I want to try and AVOID purchasing any extra monitors - I want to try and use my laptop screen.
It runs at 60Hz. What solutions are available to me? Mirrors are impractical, the Blue/red anaglyph glasses are greyscale and bland. I'm looking for a practical solution that will give me decent colors if possible. I'm not looking for a perfect solution, but certainly one better than anaglyph glasses :-P
If you don't think this is possible, can somebody link me to some of those 3D monitors mentioned in the FAQ? The ones that don't use glasses? I'm having a hard time finding any of them, but they sound very interesting.

There are some trade offs in quality though. I personally prefer nV's solution, but iz3d does offer some options that aren't available to 3d vision yet. I am not sure if I am allowed to post this link, but I am going to take the chance.

Thanks for the link. I notice in the FAQ however that they require 3D glasses, AND SLI doesn't work with it apparently! That's a deal breaker, I need my SLI :-P

Iz3d uses cheap polarized glasses though.
If you don't want HMD, 3d vision or iz3d, then you are out of luck afaik. /ermm.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ermm:' />

Hm, I guess I might have to go with 3D Vision. Which means buying an external keyboard too, since I currently use my laptops built in keyboard :-( I'll keep searching for now, I won't have money 'till September hehe :-)
