Aloha,

The Cyclops have chosen their game of the year 2015. (http://gotypicks.blogspot.ca/2015/09/2015-game-of-year.html)

Good for them but, I believe, people with two eyes should have also the opportunity to express their choice (which might imply their recognition of the work of the 3D fixers).

Ergo, may I propose to create and choose a "Stereoscopic 3D GOTY" of our own?

Please post your votes until (let's say) 30 of January.

My personal S3DGOTY - 2015 is:

1. The Witcher 3

Runners-up:

2. Mad Max
3. Fallout 4

*****************************************************************************************************

Edit:

Please vote spontaneously. That is, choose the S3D game which satisfied your senses most.

I would be happy if the 3D fixers would take also part in this vote, independent of their involvement.

In the end we will have:

Best native 3D Vision game

Best game fixed by the 3D people

Best S3D game chosen by the 3D fixers

and

The 2015 - Stereoscopic 3D GOTY...

...which will be the one game that was voted most through all the categories.

I vote Trine 3/Fozenbyte for supporting 3D in each and every one of their games. lol, I looked at your link and saw Everybody's Gone to the Rapture and had absolutely no idea what it was. It's a PS4 exclusive and is considered a spiritual successor to Dear Esther. Edit: It turns out that Everybody's Gone to the Rapture was not a PS4 exclusive, it eventually released on the PC.

Mhm... question is, only native 3D Vision games or also fixed ones? What are the criteria, substance, graphics?? ;) Just kidding. Yeah those three are very good after fixes. But Trine 3 looks already excellent without a fix. Farcry 4 is also one of my favourite ones and not too mention all the DarkStarSword fixes, like Life is Strange, The Forest, The Long Dark. Project Cars also looks amazing, and Star Wars Battlefront actually is fantastic looking too as well as Mortal Kombat X... did I say Lichdom: Battlemage after DSS fix? What about native support in Dirt Rally and let's be honest, even if the game had some stability problems, the best looking 3D Vision game of the year is GTAV

I enjoyed Mad Max and played over 80 hours. I would have to say Mad Max and the Witcher 3 two masterpieces Great 3D. Thanks for all the great fixes,
Mhm... question is, only native 3D Vision games or also fixed ones? I think it would be a very nice gesture to come from Mr N. Vidia if, he himself would create a 3D GOTY Award to be granted to those developers which are ambitious enough to release their games in native 3D Vision (CM excluded). And it would be a SPLENDID gesture if, the same Mr. N. Vidia would create a separate Realy Real 3D GOTY Award to be granted to the fantastic 3D fixers!

"Good for them but, I believe people with two eyes should have also the opportunity to express their choice" I laughed at this. My vote goes to Trine 3, for Frozenbyte's efforts in supporting 3D natively. For fixed games, I'm voting for Ori and the Blind Forrest. There's some bias here in that I know the programmer, but it was a beautiful game and looked incredible in 3D. I haven't played many of the big titles fixed last year (Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Mad Max, Far Cry 4), otherwise I may have voted for one of those. They're all on my list though.

Anyway i vote for: 1) Ori and the Blind Forest 2) Mad Max ( the underground parts are amazing in 3d) 3) Trine 3 (If they had released a complete game i would put it first, but this game is a joke, its a demo not a game) GTA 5 is 2014, isnt it?

I personally found gta v to be average game with extremely bad characters who ruined the rest of the game for me(world building was excellent and i went sightseeing few times). Pc version came out in 2015 so i think it definitely counts as candidate in this goty.

GTA 5 for PC was released in 2015, It seemed to me like a long time ago, i guess because i played on xbox 360! GTA 5 would be the GOTY then. Trevor was just hilarious, the story with the 3 characters is just so great! It has just the right amount of action with a good story, thats the kind of game i like. I find the gameplay on RPGs to be too slow and boring, even with a good story i just cant stand the boring gameplay.

Life is Strange : first time a gaming experience touches me so much emotionally. Far ahead of "Walking Dead season 1" for example Mad Max : a great adrenaline rush in racing cars and even in fighting with a solid 60 fps, and what superb graphics (enhanced by Reshade) in the desert . Witcher 3 : superb but a bit boring (Skyrim is still above) gta 5 could be the winner but for me it's still a 2D game because of the catastrophic performance in 3D (4cores problem of course). Fallout 4 will be the winner ...in 2016 for sure when it will be modded like Skyrim was

I will add SOMA because there is something deep inside me which makes me scared to death when I`m looking into depth of Abyss. That 3D in there makes me don`t want to play this game soo bad. Witcher 3 and Mad Max is on my list as well. They are Epic. I will disagree on Fallout 4 thou - because there are still some issues which makes it being far behind the superiority at Witcher and Mad Max level (WIP I know). I am judging overall 3D look not the game content. I mean how I feel being in this 3D world and how much time I spend staring at WHOA effect.
