So now that both have been out for awhile (I believe) which is the better monitor? I'm looking for both a good 2d and 3d monitor as I do a lot of random 2d things and watch (again 2d) videos often on my PC. Also, one thing I can't stand is backlight bleeding... ESPECIALLY when it takes the form of a thin white line at the top of the screen. I know since both are 16:9 (vs my 16:10) so it probably wont show up as much on video watching and in-games, but there are still plenty of dark places in games...
Also, I know ghosting was a major problem in the past on some monitors, and at this cost I don't want any...

if you don't want any ghosting then don't get a LCD get a DLP projector or DLP TV

I would get a DLP if I could... but as it's going to be used as a computer monitor it kind of has to be LCD. I know there can/will be a LITTLE ghosting, but I don't want to have the level that people were talking about on the samsung where it was a huge problem.

General consensus is the Acer is better for 3D by a small margin and the AW is better for 2D by a small margin. Both are essentially the same for the most part the AW comes with more fluff like adjustable stand and whatnot
