Hi guys!
I know it's kind of a very old thread, but I got a 760 (love it, btw) a year ago and Acer GD245HQ from a friend. I've tried 3D in multiple games and it worked great -- until I found out that in some games there's an issue with what I'd call "blurry" as picture is always slightly misaligned and text is barely readable at all. It's the same with all small details as they show this issue very well.
And in some cases, going to 120 Hz gives the same mistake.
I have the latest driver installed and a dual-DVI cable, it wasn't the cheapest on the market so I guess it's a good one. I have the package somewhere if that's important.
I also made a vid, because seeing is much better than describing. It's uploading.
http://youtu.be/APbIrVX05OE (currently uploading)
And screenshots don't show the issue - so the PC seem to think that everything is working fine. I got screenshots:
https://pp.vk.me/c624622/v624622804/2cf15/rLT9exaG5zo.jpg 60 Hz
https://pp.vk.me/c624622/v624622804/2cf1f/PkJ-O1s-UkI.jpg 120 Hz
Here's a better picture of the same issue by a different user:
https://pp.vk.me/c624622/v624622804/2cf29/-x8aIlUdynA.jpg 60 and 120Hz.
Thanks a lot in advance, I hope there's some fix for this. Should I open a case with Acer as well? I'm not sure if this is a Card, Driver, or Monitor issue.
Update: in the case of GTA5 and Sleeping Dogs, they both report running at 119 Hz.

1. If this happened after a recent driver update, reinstall the drivers using DDU (Direct Driver Uninstaller)
2. Check that the cable is seated properly at the Display and GPU connections, perhaps pull it out and reseat it.
3. If you are using a single link cable or the cable has gone bad, it will cause blurry images/text.
4. Check that the GPU is seated properly, perhaps even pull it out and put it back in.
Which particular games are you having trouble with?
Hi. Thanks for the options.
This was effective on all versions of the drivers last year, I just turned 3D off in most cases. With the latest version, it turns on by itself in GTAV and Sleeping Dogs.
I've tried using alt-tab and turning the screen on and off again. It happens after 2-3 reboots of monitors, or sometimes alt+tab. So it's not about cable or videocard, they actually seem to work.
The only notice is that I can't turn on 120 Hz from Settings, and in-game GTAV and Sleeping Dogs both inform me that game runs at 119 Hz. So where did that last one go, I wonder.
Also, today I launched War Thunder and the screen was colorcoded anaglyph which I've never seen before. The picture was doubled in multiple colors, and when Sleeping Dogs start, sometimes the screen is all red-tinted, so it's possible this is due to this anaglyph mode on.
I guess reinstallation of previous driver won't help, the only issue it may fix is that 3D turns on by itself, though I'd prefer nVidia to provide a way to disable or fix it, without switching to another display.
By the way, I use a pretty dated ASUS GTX 760. I wonder if there's a possibility that support for it is unstable, since the monitor says that it's 3Dready.
There were games, where 3D runs smoothly and beautifully without any sorts of issues - Battlefield 3, Battlefield Hardline, GTA San Andreas, Half-Life 2, plus Assassin's Creed. Games like WoW and Starcraft have this picture doubling issue I've told in the post before.

I wonder why no one from nVidia contacted me. Or is the 3Dvision project abandoned in the face of upcoming VR?
I've cleaned my PC and plugged the cable in other port. Just to be sure, I made a pic of the cable.
This is it, it's DVI-D Dual Link if I understood the list correctly. Should it work at 119Hz? According the specs I've found online, DVI-D is the desired format for this Monitor.

Did you open a support ticket? This is a user to user forum. Support link at top of page.
You GTX 760 is 3D Vision supported, so it should be OK, provided that your particular model supports Dual Link DVI.
Can you run your Desktop at 1920x1080P@120Hz?
Hey D-Man, I'm a tool. Used to forums where the support team lurks in search of open threads. I will make one.
It looks like it does, some games DO work... Especially Battlefield. It ran without a single 3D-related lag. Fallout, too.
Actually, I can't run the desktop at all. It turns blurry and no matter how many times I reset, alt+tab, or resize the screen, it stays that way.
I've been having this issue with the exact same monitor.
I'm not trying to enable 3D, I'm just trying to display in 120hz. I used to have no problems doing this.
Sometimes I would get the same problem as Winjin's describing with a lot of blur. Other times, the monitor just says Input Not Supported.
Please help.
