Crash and bug on many DirectX 10/11 games, help please!!
Hello, I allways have bug or crash on many games... and today, i cannot play GTA V or The witcher 3 and i dont know what to do. For example, on GTA V, i have allready 3D bug during intro and while playing the game loses 3D or crash. I sometimes have nvlddmkm error or "Reset failed with D3DERR_DEVICELOST" error in GTA V I made a 3D video capture of GTA V (low parameters, Vsync off) https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4cx7MK-bSQRb09SaVBoajIwVEk/view?usp=sharing Sorry for quality, Shadowplay software dont capture in 2560*720 in 3D Vision and with fraps we cant see 3D bugs (very strange!) To sum up this video: 00:30 We can already see a bug during intro (synchro problem?) 03:07 The game starts without 3D while the option was enabled 04:36 Alt+tab to show the error in the Launcher file that already appears from the launch of the game 05:00 I turn on 3D option that is off by itself during game loading 08:54 3D bug 10:36 Game crash I've clean my computer, made many install of Windows 7,8.1 or 10, tried many components (GTX 980 or GTX 580, MB: Asus P6T or MSI Xpower, HDD or SSD, CPU: Intel i7 990X or i7 920, Ram: Kingston 6Go or Corsair 12Go, PU: Antec 1200W.) I tried DDU software in safemode too.... :/ I never install GeForce Experience and tried game on Windows with no other software (only Nvidia driver) I never use SLI or Overclocking, bios are allways with default parameter and computers are very stable, i never had Windows crash or BSOD. I don't know what to do anymore... Please help me and sorry for my English!

While some crashes are expected with newer games due to poor optimization and coding, you certainly shouldn't be having crashes in "many" games. Bad drivers can also be blamed for some of the crashes, but that wouldn't account for "many" If you are gaming in 3D, I'd suggest that you use Windows 7, since it's the most stable. For Grand Theft Auto, read the existing thread. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/825678/3d-vision/gta-v-problems-amp-solutions-list-please-keep-gta-discussion-here-/ On other games, disable any overlays that you have running, such as MSI Afterburner or Steam Community. Try disabling random processes running in the background, like PunkBuster, Cyberlink, Windows Live, UPlay, ITunes, Skype, etc........... Try installing an older driver and opt out of GeForce Experience, to see if it helps. You say "2560*720 " are you using a two display setup? Or is this a DSR resolution. If two displays, does the problem exist using a single display?

Thanks for answer. I have exactly the same problems using Windows 7, 8 or 10. I never use overlays or GeForce experience, i dont need Steam on GTA V or The witcher 3 and i tried these games on a clean Windows with no other software. I say 2560*720, it's 1280*720 with 3D vision, i think it's the resolution we must have in video capture. I'm using 3Dtv play on a TV with 720p. I think problems are between DirectX 10/11 and 3D vision but i dont know what to do...

Everyone is having problems with those two games. You need to read the threads for them and see if you can find something that helps. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/825678/3d-vision/gta-v-problems-amp-solutions-list-please-keep-gta-discussion-here-/ https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/546943/3d-vision/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/ You can also check pcgamingwiki, they had a couple of suggestions to help alleviate crashes.
