I just remove the dust to my old mathematic books....and the correction for shadows seems to have a Exponential Decay equation (y = a * b^X), where b is between 0 and 1, and X is convergence....how in the hell i can do "b^X" in HLSL Shader 5? example, like this:
... 0.5^stereo.y
THANKS bo3b and DarkStarSword...i will use that version and test.

You can use the 'pow' intrinsic function.
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/bb509636(v=vs.85).aspx
Should work like:
result = pow(0.5, stereo.y)
Also, in HLSL, the variables can be named anything you want. With more complicated expressions, you will probably be better off to make it 'convergence' instead of 'stereo.y' for clarity.

My Surround Rig is in my signature. I can show you the settings:
- See attached image

- The fps varies from 20 fps to 40 fps in 3D mode based on location it seems... (I haven't played much, still on the 1st mission)
- I do get a very weird flickering. Anyone else noticed this?
- I also noticed the GPUs nor the CPU running at 99% so it doesn't seem to be a Hardware bottleneck

Your cpu is better than mine but 20fps of difference???? My Cpu is at 72% and GPUS at 40-50% so it doesn't seem to be a Hardware bottleneck, the problem is in other side...:(

Sometimes Surround is using sli potential way better then conventional sigle screen setup. I`ve noticed that with a few games. Friend of mine have slower gpus but he runs some games smoother then me and that all on higher resolution.
Can`t explain it thou.

I think I saw it's related to SLI on this game and Techland said they're working on a patch for that.

Update:
- Now Shadows works with any convergence value :) now user can adjust convergence with normal shortkey from nvidia.
- Add more Hands and Weapons shaders.
https://s3.amazonaws.com/dhr/Dying.Light.3Dfix.WIP5.zip
Also take another look at the FOV issue, but i don't found anything.
@helifax
I left a Shadows correction value ("y" parameter) so you can try changing that value for 3D surround. Suppose first test is multiply that value for 3. Now you can change that value live (refresh F10).
@bo3b,
Thanks for the "pow" function....works perfect.
r1.x -= stereo.x * (-r1.z - stereo.y)/2 * iniParams.y * pow (1,stereo.y);
Note: Aspect ratio is sensitive to FOV, so if you're using a resolution that produce a aspect ratio different than 16:9 (example 16:10)...fix shadow may not work. Is neccesary to adjust the Shadows Correction parameter.
