Just purchased the Acer X34, and wow it is quite nice. Although not 3d, It makes me wish I had a couple of these monitors that were 3d in surround. DrooooooLz

Hopefully we'll see some of those 3440x1440 curved 21:9 monitors running at 120Hz and 3D capable before long, since Pascal GPUs have DP 1.4 support.
A lot of new monitors have just been announced at computex. Not sure if there are any 3D ones but I know some have the new DisplayPort and support 4K 120hz
'The dream' is a 180°(360°?) seamless wrap around screen with dual(quad?)-projectors that can do 1080p or above in 3D... I never really got the hype/interest in the curved TV screens, they're barely curved. Wrap around I understand but not the slightly curved TVs/screens... at least with a/this Monitor you're sitting much closer... and it's wider than 16:9.
