You can disable motionblur in the .ini
Do NOT disable depthoffield in the .ini . Unless you are prepared to disable all post processing effects and will disable them all.

Second and third card are not responding @ all. Hopefully Nvidia can pump out some new drivers to fix this ASAP. This is way too much like the Tomb Raider launch. Eidos playin' dirty. this game is on UE3, there should be zero issues with running it in SLI out the gate. Unacceptable, glad I only payed 25$ for the key.
You won`t get anything else then "pride" from the third card. 3D Vision doesn`t work with 3-way Sli setup. This subject been discoussed on this forum many times. Look it up.

Ok Thanks ;)
Adding my two cents for what it is worth. 2x680 Classifieds, running 3dtv play @ 720p 60hz. No issues to speak of, game looks beautiful. 3D fired right up via the pre game launch setup. Only thing I had to mess with was a combo of the depth of view and 3d separation/depth. Which is really an end user preference.
One thing that might be worth mentioning is that if you are modifying any display settings in-game, make sure that after you apply the settings you don't use the back/esc button or key. Make sure you hit resume. Otherwise it will restore previous settings.

Does anyone knows a way to make registry depth hack work with this game? It keeps me away from playing it...

edit: finally got a chance to give it a try ... all the icons/crosshair/HUD elements are 2D as well as some dust/smoke/fog that looks 2D also and like mentioned above depth hacks don't work, fortunately at max it's close to where I usually play.

Fun game and 3d looks good. Maybe now we should show our appreciation towards devs, right?

How come I can't select 3D in the game? I made sure double or triple buffering Vsync was turned on but when I start the game I only get the Nvidia 3D which rates the game not recommended and it looks completely broken. I cant select the ingame 3D option no matter what I try.

Exclusive fullscreen needs to be on. Did you try that option?

Short answer: No
I havent played that much, cause i still need vpn to unlock it and i need to keep steam offline after that so i just briefly tested about 2-3 hours and base my opinion on that. Of course i cant comment on the story yet, other than it starts pretty good. Gameplay and atmosphere were amazing. Obviously game focuses heavily on stealth, but it kind of _relies_ on it too, which i think is a good thing. Dishonored for example doesnt rely on stealth, thats just 1 possibility, in thief however you have to be stealthy in order to survive. I tested on normal(named thief) and custom difficulty levels, custom was a total hardcore thief difficulty, basically everything turned off. i barely could beat up 1 guard after getting caught, stealth worked pretty well, although guards seemed to spot me more easily compared to normal difficulty. AI seems better than in these early gameplay videos too. I got caught couple of times because i forgot to close some cabinet or one of those display cases. Too much noise will get you caught too.
My two hours were really great and cant wait to continue on friday when the game actually unlocks for me. 3D ofc enhanced my experience, but my recommendation is to get thief adn have fun!
