I prefer polarizers currently. I do have both omegas currently on the shelf unused LCD and dlp versions.
I would prefer sxrd projectors, couple Sony hw45’s maby or if eyes can handle rainbow fests then some one chip dlps, Atleast they have

Yes, they do have that working with a Geobox 401 (Demux) and twin passive projectors. Blacksharkfr has that setup I believe. Not sure if he gets 3d vision working perfectly or has to use the the AMD 3D equivalent, can't actually remember what that's called right now.. Not powervr?[/quote]
I've been doing 3D projection at 1920x1080, full resolution, 60Hz per eye, since 2011.
I started with AMD GPUs and iZ3D drivers, then added Tridef to the mix.
I switched to Nvidia about a year and a half ago when I bought a GTX1070.
I use a VNS Geobox 501 to convert the DisplayPort 3D output to dual Left/Right 2D hdmi for my two 2D projectors. (Epson EH-TW3500, european version of the Epson Home-cinema 8100)
I can play PC games with both Tridef and 3D Vision
I can play BluRays with a stand alone BluRay3D player.
I can also plug any hdmi 1.4a device into the system (PS3 to play WipeOut or Gran Turismo in 3D for example), and play any Side by side content from any hdmi source (Cable/DSL box, media player, etc...).
The Sony BluRay player I use also has network DLNA capability, so it can play any side by side content from any hard drive over the network.
When using Tridef, I use the side-by-side output at full resolution (3840x1080 60Hz). It provides the cleanest image and allows V-Sync to be optional (sync tear in the same location in both eyes).
When using 3D Vision, the Nvidia pyramid usb emitter is required as an unlock key for the 3D Vision driver but is otherwise unused (I hide it under the desk to reduce IR interference with remotes).
I output nvidia's frame sequential 1920x1080 120Hz. It works but the picture isn't 100% perfect.
There is a small V-sync tear at the bottom 10% of left eye image (I believe it's a firmware limitation of the old Geobox 501 I'm using). And the Geobox does not read the proprietary "Left eye / Right eye" metadata in the frame sequential signal, so there is a 50-50% chance of frame order reversal upon initialisation of the 3D Vision mode. No big deal, just need to use CTRL+T multiple times to turn 3D off and back on until the image sequence initializes correctly.
I can also use 3DMogoto's side by side mode if needed, however I haven't figured out how to use 3840x1080 resolution output with 3D Migoto yet. (I tried a year ago on an old build, haven't tried with more recent builds)
Doing Dual-projection 3D is very expensive. It requires a significant investment and is complex to set up (it's a DIY system, there is no simple easy to install package like regular shutter flasses projectors).
Over the years, I believe I've spent over 6000€ on the system (not including the 5.1 surround audio and couch, and moving to a bigger appartment)
