7600 GS with no stereo Tried every driver and nothing.
I should say this: It used to work under 91.31 Forceware and Stereo drivers. I have tried 175.16, 163.?? and several others along with several different stereo drivers. I've installed, uninstalled, cleaned the registry, ran Driversweeper... in short, I can't get stereoscopic with field sequential which is my goal.
So, you ask: "Why don't you just go back to the 91.31 combination?" Ah, my astute reader, what a great idea! This is where it gets weird. After I uninstall all that mess above and start clean, during the installation of the old 91.31 it tells me that I don't have a graphics card. Now I can't even reinstall it. /fear.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':fear:' />
I put everything back to the latest drivers and then I had troubles getting the control panel to show for a few days before I came across a registry hack (it may have been on this forum) and got around that. I can set the buttons and sliders but no such luck. It's completely 2D.
The medical screen pop-up shows two boxes side-by-side for starters so even that isn't showing what it should.
Lastly, I've got a dual monitor system set up with one monitor also hooked up to a Z800 HMD. If it were the HMD I could understand, but the monitor should also flicker and be somewhat fuzzy were it trying to page flip and it isn't. It's shows a clear dual image box and instructions instead of attempting to merge.
I've been at this a week now in the evenings after work and I'm anxious to tinker with VR again.
Any ideas? I'm open for all suggestions with the exception of putting the nVidia card in the dishwasher. /angel.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='O:)' />

You should have the driver set on "DDC VGA Glasses" in the stereo options. Also, sometimes there can be weird issues with dual-monitor setups. Before you test, make sure you are only on one monitor (ie make the Z800 your primary monitor and disable the real monitor while you are testing).
I am using the 91.31 stereo driver, but the video driver does not need to be exact. You can try another closely numbered video driver and that might work (like 91.XX).
