How do i run TRIDEF with 3D vision glasses?
  1 / 2
I have 3d turned off with nvidia as i dont want the nvidia and tridef 3d to run at the same time, but when i start a game via tridef it says 3d disabled sterio error? must i have nvidia 3d turned on? but then how do people only use tridef? I tried it with 3d vision enabled and it loads the nvidia 3d but the tridef message still says 3d disabled, how exactly do you get tridef to work? Google gave me 0 answers. When i start and run tridef the screen says sterio drive could not be initialized. 3d disabled.

You have to turn 3D on, the Nvidia driver must be active.

Ok OP 3Dvision and tridef will both be working has to if you use 3Dvision with tridef. Just open Trideg Igniton and under tools change display settings. I use Direct3d stereo and select my NV card. I like tridef alot they update games more offten them NV does.

did I miss something, Tridef also has hardware restrictions/specifications. you cannot just use Nvidia certified 3D displays and 3D vision glasses and expect Tridef to work. if this were case, everyone on this forum probably already played through Bioshock Infinite in 3D (and I know this is not the case).

It's possible teardrop, but only on certain monitors (and certain revisions of certain monitors). It's very hit-and-miss. But I did play through Bioshock Infinite in 3d.

[/quote] I dont understand whats different? 3d visions let sme use shutter glasses to play games in 3d, why would tridef not work an a benq LX2411T with nvidia shutter glasses? surely this would be the main priority for tridef? they want to make 3d profiles an dgames work that nvidia cant so get 3d vision glasses to work with tridef. does trifed only support them none connected basic 3d glasses? like what you get in a cinema?

Tridef only works in side-by-side mode, so you need to have a monitor which supports that standard.
