Gatling Gears 3D Vision Thread Drooling over this Trine 2 level of detail!
  1 / 2
Someone mentioned Gatling Gears and I gave it a run today and was extremely impressed. The more I get into it I am going to say it is on par with Trine 2. There is an amazing amount of action and animation on screen. The 3D Effect is astounding!

Great shots...You really have to play it to get the experience...there is a lot of action going on all the time. You will be looking around at all of the scenery and animations a lot.

Some screens of Elysium Fields!!!

Check these out!

If you notice the people in the planes that get pushed out to parachute...sometimes they don't want to jump and get pushed out...its hallarious...you would never catch this stuff in 2D

The 4th screenshot is the best...they push the house off the cliff when they uproot the tree...It is so cool with all the debris falling down the waterfall.

Looks like you haven't set your convergence very high..Sammaz

You will get alot more 3d effect if you set it alot higher...

Try these settings...

AppName='GatlingGears'
StereoSeparation=0.06015879 (3d766910)
StereoConvergence=3857.58813477 (45711969)
MinRHW=9999.00000000 (461c3c00) (farthest)
MaxRHW=-9999.00000000 (c61c3c00) (closest)
Texture strategy(0x3): ESMT ET
Suggested StereoConvergenceMultiplier=5.00000000 (40a00000)
Suggested Infinity RHW=0.00000022 (346c2970)
StereoCutoff=1 (Far)

There located in your documents setting...
LaserSight disabled
In Game LaserSight disabled

or use your (hidden) convergence controls in the Nvidia control panel...

Hi Ferry,

Download this zip I posted and extract it to your gatlinggears.exe folder. Then you can run "FXAA_Tool.exe"

I suggest turning off the following FXAA settings :

Bloom, TechniColor, ToneMap, Sepia

I suggest turning on the following FXAA settings :

AntiAliasing, PreSharpen, PostSharpen

Much better than 8x MSAA with no Frame rate drops !

You will be able to see the small carachters in towers are now clearly wearing glasses and white cuffs.

Well thanks for the link,but...

I tried exactly what you mentioned above..and it doesn't work....
Don't know what I'm doing wrong..I think I'm doing everything right..but even a couple of my friend could not get it to work...
And to work I mean ,I don't see any difference....

I give up...

Unless you can provide any screenshots (before/after) FXAA ? /sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sad:' />

Strange...If you enable sepia and bloom do you see a change?

Here are a few screens...

http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/sammaz/

If you look at the house and entrance staircase you can see some subtle smoothing that the FXAA does.

anyway I just finished it and WOW I am impressed...I am bummed that there are no more levels...I had the exact same feeling when I finished Trine 2.

I also purchased this game based on the recommendations in these forums. Probably the best $10 ive spent in a LONG time. Ive been playing this on the acer 5360 projector and it has been nothing short of epic.
Im going to try the FXAA injector today sometime, which should make a massive difference. I did notice that it could probably do with some sharpening, but overall, it is my new showcase game for anyone yet to try 3D gaming.
