Hey Spyder,

I think you mean to say that the mic looks white (even though it's black) because it reflects heat. Is that right?

I remember a picture of myself with a white hat when the real color was red. It was white because it reflects IR (heat).

I guess what things look like depends on what eyes you're using. There is no one "true" way that something looks.
