I rebooted into safe mode and ran DDU and then rebooted. I then installed (clean install option) the latest Nvidia drivers. This game still gives 2d paralax only. I don't know. It seems you are the only one having this issue. I really don't know... Are you using a proper 3D Vision Ready monitor (no EDID overrides and stuff)?

Yep I understand I am the only one with this issue. Monitor is a proper 3dVision monitor. Specs are in my signature. I am sure it is just me, but finding out what driver, hw, or setting is the cause is probably a fruitless search. I will go ahead and stop trying to fix it at this point and let the thread resume its normal progress.

Did you check if your actual Exe file is asigned to the profile you are modifying? Try to import this profile. PS: remove the .tif extension

Yes I am certain the .exe is associated with the profiles I am modifying. I downloaded the attached file and it looks to be just like the one I downloaded from the RE2 thread. Anyway, your file gives me the same 2d paralax results.

When I adjust convergence in the CMU profile I setup for this game the images stay parallel and just get more separation. I have tested this by actually measuring the distance between the right and left image for an image in the background (lobby clock) and an image in the foreground (Leon' gun). No matter what convergence (0.2 to 1.0) or "depth" setting I use the distance between the left and right image for all objects is exactly the same. I am not doing an screen override (I actually don't know how to do that). When testing with CMU I do run it as Admin and then run the game as Admin. However I have also run this game in just plain CM mode with a modified profile. I don't want to waste anymore or your guys time, but I will continue to try any suggestions you offer.

If you set a higher value the convergence is capped. You can also increase the convergence manually via CTRL+F6 (by default) but you have to keep these buttons pressed for a really long time (it felt like 15 seconds until something changed). Maybe it wasn't so long but felt really long lol :D

I loaded up RE2 with various CM profiles and holding down CTRL+F6 or F5 does not change anything. For a test I loaded up Darksiders Warmastered using the Alien Isolation profile. In that game I am able to modify the convergence using the previously mentioned keys. However in RE2 not only do I just get 2d paralax but the convergence buttons do nothing.
CTRL+F6 or F5 does not change anything.
Are you holding it down a long time? Sometimes for whatever reason, convergence can take a minute or so to start moving the image. Also, if you have Arkham Knight try Black Flag, as I recall, that allowed for quite a bit of convergence adjustment in that game, more so than CM in other games. (of course remove the fix, if installed) Anyhow, if RE2 is working for others, something is wrong on your end. Are you using a registry lock? Like maybe Eincou's app? And of course you can make adjustments OK in regular games. It's possible that your anti-virus is prohibiting CMU from altering the keys as necessary.

I held CTRL+F6 down for around 1-2 full minutes in RE2 and nothing changed. All other 3d games I have (CM and Native3d) work properly, so I am tending to agree with you that it is something on my system just interfering with this game. I do not have Arkham Knight to try out. The most recent CM mode games I have played are Darksiders Warmastered, FC4, AVP 2010 and Bioshock HD. Those games work well with great depth. Most recent native3d games I am playing are Mass Effect 2 (w/helixmod). I do admit I am running W10 along with having some older components in my system (CPU/motherboard) so I would not be surprised that my system is the root cause.

I used Helifax's posted CMU config for RE2 with StereoTexture = 0x00000001, but that only gives a single image. No left/right eye. If I change it to StereoTexture = 0x00000023 I get stereo and then by holding CTRL+F6 I get changing convergence for proper 3d. Bad news is I get the nasty CM halo around every object except those in the distance. Is there any way to lessen that artifact and still get good depth?
