120hz problems
Ok, I'm having an issue with either windows or the nvidia drivers thinking that I have two monitors connected:

1. I switch the monitor to run at 120hz(works great)
2. When I restart my computer, I login, and everything starts loading, but at a certain point my screen goes blank.
3. If I then switch DVI ports on my card, the monitor now suddenly seems to have been switched to the other port.
4. If I restart again, it swtiches back to the other port....repeat, repeat

This only seems to happen if I have 120hz as the default refresh rate. I does not happen if I leave it at 60hz. Any ideas? For some reason it seems to think I have two monitors installed when I am at 120hz.

Here are my details:

-Vista 32bit
-GTX260
-Samsung 2233rz
-using 197.13 drivers
-using the dual-link DVI included with the 2233rz

Any Ideas?? I was able to solve this problem once before, but I cannot find the answer again. I guess I should have bookmarked it! LOL.

hm very strange things indeed =\
try to set Nvidia control panel - manage 3d settings - multi-display / mised GPU acceleration to single display perfomance mode, check display in "check resolution" and try to reinstall monitor and videocard drivers. it's all ideas i have about this. another thing may be ur damaged cable or windows or many other things =\
