Alright good people of nvidia forums, i just recently heard on a review from tiger direct on the 3d vision kit that you can hook up your pc to a DLP monitor and get the 3D effects for movies. heres my question how the hell do i do this? i have the 3d kit a 120hz monitors beefy pc gtx 460 SLI Q9650, and Toshiba 65HM167 (65inch) thank you!

Is the tv rated as 3D ready? On my Mitsu there is a spot on the back that looks like an s-video connector (circular jack with 4-5 pins in odd shape, also like 360 controller breakaway connection) that you plug one of the cables into from the emitter. Then you connect you PC to the TV's hdmi using the dvi-hdmi cable included with the kit, others cables wont work. Plug the emitter in via USB and set stuff up on your PC

With DLP's you need a Sync Port for 3D (little multi pin port). Check to see if your TV has that. It is usually a feature listed in the manual as well.

hmm i dont think so i bought this tv in 08, it does have a refresh rate of 120hz, i know that there is a IR pass through in the back but it just looks like a hole no odd shape, there is a odd shape connector on the side but i think is a s-video connector

Any DLP Mits from 2007 to 2009 is 3d ready.
No it's not an s-connector.
It is the IE connector.
