Not a big gamer but I have tried out Crysis 2 & Battlefield 3 with 3d Vision 2. I don't really like Battlefield 3's 3d and I have messed with convergence in the ini file and Crysis 2 has the 3d only close to your gun setup. Whats the best or good first person shooter that has good depth and convergence throughout the screen?
I do own Battlefield 2 and could reinstall that but if it looks like Battlefield 3... bleh!

There's INI tweaks for Crysis 2 btw to get more depth and convergence. But the suggestions so far are all excellent, BFBC2 and MoH have both been really cheap in various Origin/Steam/Amazon sales, like $5-10. Bulletstorm was also excellent in 3D so worth checking out. Borderlands is another great one in 3D Vision. I also tried out COD MW2 for the first time a few weeks ago and it looked really good in 3D, great performance too on modern hardware. You have to disable the in-game crosshairs though, and I don't think this works for MP, not sure though. I've read MW1 and WaW look similarly good in 3D Vision so those may be worth a look if you have them. Then there's the L4D games which are kind of FPS lites I guess.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of FPS games in 3D Vision bc of potential issues with ironsights and limited depth/convergence, but all of the ones suggested so far are pretty good overall.

I said earlier my suggestion of bulletstorm but let me just say. I do not even like FPS at all(besides mass effect). I found it very enjoyable, well written, and funny. Played Crysis 2(sandbox and story turned me off), battlefield + call of duty tried earlier renditions and did not enjoy. I just really wanted to put my pitch in because it really did poorly though it was such an awesome game(beautiful in 3d vision as well). Though this was probably due to piracy and it being single player only(pretty much.)

Yea.. checked out some of the pics of some of the games of the FPSers on 3d Vision live with their captured pictures and I see what you mean. I mainly play WoW and the 3d depth and convergence can be intense there ... I guess with these FPS they make em light so they run better maybe....

Metro 2033 and Bad Company 2, i agree are great. BC2 has a great single player campaign too with some funny squad members and some beautiful scenery, great voice acting, animations, guns, effects, sounds.... worth checking out. Metro 2033 is probably the best game i've ever played, imo of course, but i like forgotten tunnels and dark corridors and all that stuff.

I've been playing Borderlands in 3D recently, and it works great. It even has a 3D crosshair.
If you aren't turned off by the graphics of older games, check out the original Far Cry, Unreal 2, Chrome, and Chaser. The graphics are simple, but look good in 3D with the added depth and lack of shadow, lighting, or shader problems. The 3D is making me really enjoy replaying these. I had to mod Chrome and Chaser a bit to make the crosshair textures totally transparent, but it worked. Some people can't stomach the old graphics, though. And man these games are harder than most of the newer FPSs I've played recently... Fortunately you can use quicksave any time you want!

But shouldn't BF3 have normal looking 3D?
