I don't yet have an internal Blu Ray drive for my PC to compliment my new Acer GD235. Will any old off the shelf internal drive be compatible with 3D Blu Rays when they come out this summer?
Also, the Acer only uses HDMI 1.3, which means no 3D over HDMI. I'm using Dual-Link DVI for 3D Gaming, will this be sufficient for 3D Blu Ray as far as HDCP goes?

Yes, any normal Blu-ray drive for a PC should be able to handle Blu-ray 3D movies, but you'll need the additional software player that will be able to understand the 3D format it reads of the disk, so there is no need for a specific device or firmware updates... these are only required for standalone players.
You should be able to use the Dual-Link DVI output for playing Blu-ray 3D on your Acer monitor. And with the help of 3DTV Play software you will be able to play the 3D video content on a 3D-ready HDTV over HDMI, provided that the TV understands the stereoscopic 3D formats introduced in HDMI 1.4.
