I have a thought.

Where did you buy the bizlink adapter? We only tested and qualified one model and sold it on our website. Other DP adapters had issues which sound like this.

I see you included the link to ours. Was it definitely purchased from us?

The adapter wasn't actually purchased from yourselves, as I couldn't find one listed on the nvidia UK site. I bought it via Amazon UK, so although it looks exactly the same as yours, it's possible that it could be a different model. Do you know if there are different versions of the Bizlink DP to DL-DVI adpater?

L4D looks fine, except for the fluttering gpu usage.

Normally, 3D Vision uses a separate, external emitter. However, your monitor has a built-in emitter.
Maybe the built-in 3D emitter signal is not properly passing through the adapter??
If you could borrow a usb 3D Vision emitter, you could try using it and see what happens.
Maybe you should contact Nvidia support and ask them to confirm if the Acer HN274H is compatible with your adapter.

FINALLY IT'S FIXED!!

Bang on there Partol, good call - that's exactly what it was. Shifting the 3D emitter signal from the adpater to the USB box completely fixed the problem. Once the USB controller drivers were installed and the built in emitter switched off, I finally had glorious stutter-free 3D /clap.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Many thanks again to all who helped out here, much respect!

Cheers,

Glad to hear it's fixed. How did you turn off the built-in emitter? Was it easy?

It wasn't obvious as it wasn't mentioned at all in the monitor instructions. But anyway it turns out that you just change the IR Mode in the monitor's OSD settings to 'Lan'.
I thought using the USB emitter was going to automatically disable the built in emitter but it didn't work this way. Before finding the Lan option, the two emitters were both active and conflicting with each other, causing the glasses to flash on and off.

Thank you so much for this thread and solution. I have a bizlink adapter too. With my Asus vg278h screens plugged on dvi, I can run the 3D vision test with no problem, my CPU was at 15% and fps 120. With my Asus vg278h screens plugged on my bizlink (displayport->dvi), the 3D vision test pushed one core of my CPU at 100% and fps is around 4. Then I used your solution : I used the USB 3D emitter instead of the one integrated in my screen and it's ok now. I didn't have to change settings on my screen itself, I just had to re-run the 3D Vision assistant with the USB emitter plugged. Oh, and the bizlink adapter works better when plugged on an external USB charger (5.17v) than when plugged on my motherboard (4.91v). I don't have random 10 seconds black screens anymore.
