Transformers: War for Cybertron = WIN FOR 3D VISION!
2 / 3
Good deal, glad to see this game is getting solid reviews and works well in 3D Vision, I'll probably check it out soon. I had my concerns because of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen also published by Activision, which was decent but a straight console port that didn't even bother to fix the gamma compensation setting for HDTVs. So you basically got a horrible contrast level on the PC giving it a washed out look that couldn't be compensated for.
As for the screenshots above, I'd have to agree that FuchiBOT's screenshots look like they could be fixed by adjusting depth/convergence with the double/triple imaging, as you're getting 1 "shadow" image for each eye. Adjusting Convergence so that each of those two images lines up with the center image should fix that. UE3 games are generally hit or miss with 3D Vision because they often have a post-process blur/silhouette around objects and characters, but this game does not seem to have that problem.
For those interested, Gogamer has the game on sale for $30+shipping, which should be a little cheaper than Amazon's price: http://www.gogamer.com/viewproduct.htm?pro...;extid=June2310

Hmmm ... so maybe i gave you guys a worst case scenario screenshot ... went back and selected random levels I'd played thru and took a few more screenies. I stuck to the same character convergence with 75% depth ... cant seem to make the character shadow go away, but decreasing depth helps. pic8 has 50% depth.
Sooo yeah i guess it's not as bad as I lead you guys to believe. I apologize ... in my defense made my 1st post in the early morning after staying up all night playing this game
Still ... I'd rather play this one on my big screen. :P

Yep that looks MUCH better, thanks for the updated screenshots, although it looks like there's the typical problems with crosshair being rendered in 2D at screen-depth. Have you tried enabling the 3D cursor and is there any option to disable the default crosshair?

Ingame settings are limited ... no option for disabling crosshair.

I think we should do this for all games - post best, typical and worst case screenies of games in action. That way you can judge for yourself if you want to buy the game yah?

I just wish some crazy guy /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' /> would do a small preview for us so we can all see what it looks like. HMmmmm......
How do I view those screenshots? I click on them and they open up with the same image next to each other, thanks.
Ya easiest way is to :

Right-click on the pic and choose "Save As".

Choose where you want to save, default should be Downloads or whatever and change %.jpg to %.jps and save.

As soon as it finishes downloading, click "Open" and it should go right to the Stereoscopic Viewer and fullscreen 3D.
Would be nice if the default stayed as .jps so we could open it automatically.
