Can i still play 3D games?
sorry if it sounds like a stupid or obvious question, but im new to the whole "3D gaming" so a clear answer is very appreciated I have an alienware x51, the i7 edition, and for my screen, i use my LG TV, but more to the point, its not 3D enabled/ready. but if i were to buy the NVIDIA 3D vision kit, would i be able to play 3D games at all?

You won't be able to play in 3D using the 3D Vision Kit without a 3D enabled/ready monitor/TV but you might be able to use Nvidia 3D Vision Discover, which uses the old two color glasses, typically red/blue but I think you might be able to configure it. It's not exactly the route I'd recommend if you're really interested in and want good 3D but it will allow you to at least try it but keep in mind it is extremely inferior compared to current active/passive 3D setups.
