Wow Thank you! I just disabled SLi and it fixed the problem. I wonder why it does it in SLI and how I can fix it to work with both of my 980 ti's.

No worries :)
I assume it will need some tweaks to the SLI compatibility bits in the profile to get working, but I'm not an expert on them since I don't have SLI myself. I think Helifax' custom Witcher 3 profile changes these - are you using it?

Yeah I'm using the custom Witcher 3 profile that Helifax posted. At least now I know what the problem is and I'm sure it can be fixed some how. Thanks for the help and I really appreciate it. :)

Started playing witcher 3 - and the fix is wonderful! Thanks a lot for it! However getting one problem - using latest driver and single gtx 980, HUD and all UI controls disappear under the water and under ground. Turning 3dvision off with ctrl-T makes UI reappear, but it is still annoying. I tried to import SLI profile, as explained in the fix installation guide, but id didn't help. Maybe somebody has any idea how can I resolve it? maybe some particular driver version is free of this problem?

Hi
When I play this game, 2D or 3D, with or without the fix, my FPS drops steadily over time. I could stay in the same place and it will drop from 80 down to below 40.
If I restart the game the FPS recovers only to drop again over time. Using current drivers.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Greetings.
First i would like to say thank you very much for saving s3D from the darkness of chaos.
Well after installing the 3D fix following each step of the guide, i've got an issue here: for some reasons the 3d fix is working for only few seconds and then the shaders got broken again. I've tried to delete steam's overlay64 dll in case this file was conflicting somehow but with no luck. Now i have no idea what to look to solve this stability issue.
I am using a GTX 780 with 353.30 driver under win7

353.30 is a known bad driver for this and many other games.
Update to [s]358.50[/s] 358.87, which is a known good driver for all tested games.
Newer drivers in the 358.x series are also good for 3D, but might have other issues.
359.0 is reportedly broken once again, even in 2D - stay away.
359.06 has no reports yet.

See posts #100 and #104 in the thread I linked to - it might work for you, and it might work fine for this game (and if it does - great, no need to change), but there is a definite report that it is broken for some people in some games at least, and therefore not something I can recommend.

I think I got my wires crossed - it was 358.87 that fixed the Win 10 issues in this game (358.50 fixed the one eye lag in some other games), so that would be the recommended driver for this game (if newer works for you that's fine too).

after further investigation, it appears to me that my first intuition was the right way.
zero problem with the driver as mentioned in the first post by Helifax: "1. Drivers 350.12, 352.86, 353.06, 353.30, 353.38 are required and supported."
So this stability issue is caused by Steam's client. Steam's overlay is conflicting with the dxd11 fix!!
Here are the steps to get rid of that bullshit:
[olist]
[.]launch your Steam client[/.]
[.]make sure you disabled the game overlay in your Steam settings panel[/.]
[.]while Steam is running, go find the file GameOverlayRenderer64.dll located in Steam's root folder and delete this file[/.]
[.]launch game and enjoy hours of beautiful zero glitch S3D exploration, and don't forget to be thanks-full to this godsend S3D community ;)[/.]
[/olist]
Actually you will have to do this EVERY TIME you launch Steam because it will download the deleted files and install them again on your computer. Other option is to keep your computer off-line forever...
Cheers !

Interesting. This is the first I've heard of that the Steam overlay would interact badly with a DX11 game. We know for sure it interacts badly with DX9 games.
Ghanth, if you have the time, can you try the latest version of 3Dmigoto, and leave the overlay enabled? Just replace the dlls, keep the d3dx.ini and ShaderFixes.
https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/releases/download/1.2.13/3Dmigoto-1.2.13.zip
This version has an moderately experimental fix for overlay problems, and I'm curious if it might solve the need to delete the gameoverlayrenderer64 here.
