Resident Evil 7

Here is another example. Look at the bird cage! 3D effect is the right of the cell! 3D effect is shifted relative to all objects in the game, depending on the rotation the camera. Pay attention to the distortion of the doorway! So distorted the entire game world. I am sure that it was because of this, in the mode of 3D CM problem.

Here is another good example! Pay special attention to the near bottle of beer left. Watch carefully. Preferably on the big screen. You can see that the three-dimensional volume of the bottle is a bit more to the right than the bottle itself! Above I threw you a screenshot of the 2D model of the distortion of the world game. Note how many vertical lines are curved. This effect resembles a "fisheye" Because of this distortion, deformed 3D image CM.

Helifax calm down! You're right it is "Barrel Lens" effect. It is not, like it or not me. Due to the effect of "Barrel Lens" - there are irregularities in the geometry displayed in 3D CM mode. That's all I wanted to say. If you turn off in-game effect "Barrel Lens" - 3D CM Mode will work perfectly accurately, as well as in other games. It is obvious that in the 3D CM profiles, is not considered "Barrel Lens" effect. Because of this there are problems in 3D CM. Certainly in the files of the game there is a line, which is responsible for "Barrel Lens" effect. It is necessary to try to find and disable. I play HMZ. The screen is equivalent to 72 inch screen from two meters. I noticed very clearly the problems in 3D mode CM RE7

The effect you've shown in the screenshots is a lot more common than you think when CM mode is enabled. This "halo" effect is indeed distorting the world more or less in certain games and you can move it away or closer to you by playing around with convergence and depth. I've seen this happen in a lot of games with CM but in RE7 it is a lot more pronounced since it breaks certain objects. This is just a side-effect of CM mode as Helifax specified and I don't think anything can be done about it.

Problems that the game display in 3D CM occur due to the effect of "Barrel Lens". When you take the pills to find hidden objects, the effect of "Barrel Lens" is changed to time. At this point, 3D CM mode works perfectly accurate. As in all other games that I played in 3D CM. Once the effect of the pills disappear, the effect of "Barrel Lens" returns. And along with it, and the problems with 3D CM. I go on to compare the two screenshots! The first screenshot taken when Ethan is normal! The second screenshot taken when Ethan is under the influence of stimulant tablets! (Barrel effect for the duration disappears) In my opinion, the difference is obvious! barrel effect - spoils 3D CM.

Hi murilladas. There's been some progress in my situation to be able to work on the fix, but not on the fix itself. I managed to find and pick up a 2nd 980Ti, and verified that running an SLI setup does fix many of the issues that I found present in the beginning. I haven't been able to spend any time working on the fix yet, because I've been working on For Honor, but I hope to be able to spend some time looking at it this week.
