Don't look at that obsolete projector, wait a bit for led laser projectors , also make greater effort than silver front projection, thats too easy, try harder- ^^

Your all answers was rally helpful.. So you think its better to wait for the LED LASER PROJECTORS. But dont you think that when it release it will be much much pricey than the regular one?

-yes , triple led laser, triple mirror rear projection, triple curved screen surround .That's probably the best, if you can spend triple times 1000 dollars : ))

Hmm... Lots of opinions aren't there? Now, I actually have a projector, an Acer H5360. The only real issue I have is that the EDID was corrupted and I have to use work arounds to get the computer to recognize it properly.
Have you used a screen size calculator to see what size screen you will get from what distance? Here is a good one. http://www.projectorcentral.com/projection-calculator-pro.cfm

Check out Do it Yourself screens. I have a piece of 4X8 melamine painted with the paint at this link. http://elvisripley.com/b/2008/04/new-projector-paint-mix-creates-a-great-experience.html Works great. Could be brighter for when I am in 3D.

Watch where you plan to put the projector. If you have to use Keystone correction, it will reduce the sharpness of the focus.

I will not comment on whether rear projection is better, I have never tried it, so I do not have an opinion.

So unless that corrupt.. you think that the Acer H5360, is good 3d projector to go (For that first time experience)??
Thanks about the links i will try to find the best for me.. but one more thing please: What about the sound.??

I really cant understand how to manage the sound, when i am using the HDMI cable between my PC and PJ, how can i connect the sound or where, i want to use my sound system so i think i should connect the PC or Projector to the RESERVER. Right? HOW?

Edit: Can i paint my currant white board???

sound!!!

best if you get an outboard converter and amplifier!

Don't use hdmi for sound, get an USB2 receiver, and use a good converter with level setting or good quality potmeter.

TLDR;

I have an Optoma HD66...Best 720p 3D projector available.

I have a 12' throw for my 100" screen.

My room is super dark so no issues there. The projector looks really nice, there are "better" ones at 2k+ but this works perfect for my needs. I have watched Tangled 3D, Saw 3D, and a few others I can't think of, all looked GREAT.
