Dude... how come? FPS not your thing? I found Bioshock to be one of the best games of 2007, really loved the setting and progression.
Ok I've made it! ..I believe bioshock its 3d vision ready now! :) All shaders should be fixed now (shadows included)".
You sir are a legend. Will be giving it a run through now, and then harassing the Bioshock forum this weekend. Thanks for your great work Mana84, I'm sure it will be enjoyed by many!.

@bo3b:
you're right, In your code constants are overridden by the shader's clipping matrix... I believe there's nothing you can do in this case, I'm sorry.
Two things. One, you are 100% awesome for making that incredible fix for Bioshock. Thanks!
Two, thanks for the feedback on this preshader question. I really appreciate you taking a look and confirming what I thought I'd figured out.

Aww, I love replay trough's. Due to the flu I have recently replayed Quake, Quake 2, Farcry etc. SO much fun. There's nothing more fun then running around like you had a pair of nuclear powered rocket skates.
Ok, I have made a quick how to guide for the bioshock forums. Check it out on:

Hopefully it will have a positive effect (if nothing else its a small olive branch) towards non 3D users and also IG and bioshock Infinite. If it even gets one person to try out 3D, I'll be happy.

Was messing with Helix debug today trying to get rid of some sloppy shadows and water reflections in Oblivion (before realising I could just disable them in the ingame options).
Then I noticed that if I renamed the games exe, the water reflections and shadows were completely fixed, but then it breaks HDR and Bloom. How does this happen? I know renaming exe's forces the Nvidia driver to load a different profile but why would it be worse in the one it was intended for?

Yea I don't think so. The game just wants to crash when you disable the shaders and load it with the release dll.
Also the water takes on the red text of the coding at the top of the screen for some reason, and the compass comes out of its little box and fills the screen even when just using the normal Helix files for setting hotkeys. Pretty odd.
I take it that its impossible to somehow get the information from both profiles to make HDR, water and the shadows to work?

I dunno, i thought someone said they couldnt but I never tried it. Make sure you do paste this to disable a shader
vs_3_0
dcl_position v0
dcl_position o0
The water reflections issues is not really anything. It trys to reflect the red tex though its not there. If you hide the text it doesnt do it.
Cant combine profiles.

I'm having trouble using the latest release of the .dll file. I've tried the fix for Burnout and Lego Lord of the Rings, used the .dll file included in the zips, and both of those games crash when the game loads. I can put an older release .dll, from 4/12 and it works fine. Do I need the "newer" release? Thanks.

Lego lord of rings is its own renderer so its kind of limited to what you can do. It does work though. (I just tried)

Please can someone point me to (or attach) the latest DEBUG.dll? The latest one I have is 4/1/12 (April 2012). I have a few earlier ones too. I am sure there must be newer ones available since Helix has developed the tool a bit since then.
