passive alternative?
Hello, I would like to know if today there is any 3D monitor using the 3D technology used on TVs(in my case preferable than a TV because it is to use on my desk), with the only idea of playing using PASSIVE classes. The idea is tu get rid of the big and intrusive active glasses, and use only a clip with my normal glasses to maximize confort, and supposedly minimize eye strain due to the absence of flickering in that case. I have read in this forum about using pasive glasses with a 4K TV, but what about a monitor instead? would be good enough to use 2K resolution instead of 4K to have less frame drop? Even using 1080p resolution would be fine? Is there any 3D monitor using any passive solution to have in mind as an alternative to Nvidia 3D Vision 2? even that to use it you may use a different driver instead of the Nvidia's one. In other words, is Nvidia the only choice to have in mind in these days?
