Nah its NOT that bad. Thats like one of the worse ones. You get used to it I guess. Helix said he'd look at it when he gets a chance but cinematic/cutscene DOF is pretty bad for 3d gamers. Gameplay dof can be a preference thing. Witcher 2 is only game i know of lets u seperate the two.

Speaking of witcher 2 was about to start playing it for 2nd playthrough. First playthrough I wanted to play with text left on for because of accents but high depth/convergence forced me to turn dialog text off. Anywho I pushed text into depth for any interested. Not sure I will put on site since it may seem kind of petty https://s3.amazonaws.com/HelixMods/witcher2/shaderoverride.zip

Very interested in how TERA performs in 3D. Anyone tried already?

I like the DOF in TW2. I haven't had any trouble with the subtitle depth either, but I'm not playing with really aggressive convergence settings either - only slightly more than the 'factory' setting. I always adjust convergence to each individual game - some I like very high convergence and toyification, others I'm fine with much less. This is one of them.

@eqzitara
Some big changes in the Cinematic DOF, from what I've seen during the prologue so far. They've made it really unbearable at times. I am still trying to decide if it is not better to simply disable it for s-3d, although I did my first playthrough with it on.
During my browsing with the Helix dll I've found a shader, which when being disabled unlocks the whole view distance. I think I'm going to try playing with it disabled and see how it feels. This is the one I am speaking of
https://s3.amazonaws.com/artox/PixelShader_D_CRC32_64FE7682.txt
I've tested with in up in the mountains in chapter 3 and you could see all sorts of rock formations, invisible before as well as the city in the distance. Sadly I also noticed a lack of detail, which wasn't as obvious with the shader enabled.

No no! This is cool. Anything like this should be included on the site. Options are good!

I would love the active effects icons pushed out - way out if possible. Things in that region (centre top) of the screen make me feel funny especially when tired.

Which active effect icons. If you show me a picture Ill see what I can do. Been a while since I played and just started today or a save game. I will be playing today so maybe I will see. I assume its from taking potions.

Perhaps ill make a page and include Artox's Transparent hud for plasma users.

@Mindwork
Seemed good besides Crosshair is 2d MAY be fixable. Shadows must be turned off. I tried it in beta since I decided wasnt gonna play the game. At the time graphics were real bad almost blurry(think it was cause of beta), I also wasnt too into the game. Maybe ive grown out of MMO's but i think this game will be like aion.
Debugger worked with it. I just never fixed it because it was beta and I stopped playing in less then a few hours. If someone grabs crosshair(on vertexshader list) I can fix it(move to depth) and if its seperate I can remove it. Just contact me.

The four active potion thingies at the top. I hate having things at the centre top of the screen. top Left and top right is fine. If they could be pushed back alot that would be awesome!

Oh I agree. I actually was never big on witcher 2's battle system so never really had to pot up cause I played it on low difficulty. Strange we agree exactly the same. I dont mind the corner stuff but dont like the pots anything thats forced in my center of view bothers me with my high convergence depth settings.
Will fix today.

Update: Almost Done. Will add it to web-site. Fun Fact witcher 2 uses software mouse instead of hardware(on menu screen) Could actually make it 3d lol.... The one game where I dont want a 3d mouse lol....
I should probably check if witcher 1 uses software mouse since that may actually be somewhat useful.

@artox
Thats LOD distance or at least part of it. Just increase it in settings. Most options in game are shaders. LOD/DOF/ ETC.

Actually blades of time works in 3D, but there are a lot of problems, with shadows, and you must use low depth values, using f5, f6 do some strange effects on the screen so if you are using alt + f5 alt + f6 to ajust convergency just press f5/f6 again after adjusting it.

here is a meny screenshot on the menu the itens can only be seen on the right eye. but the game 3D looks like can be fixed, there are some problems with shadows, and a lot of stuttering at least with my 560 ti SLI.

Maybe helix fix dll can work there. i'll wait for a fix.

Wierd Ill try it again. I actually set it to 0 depth on my friends computer and it did that wierd glitching still. Will see if I can get him to give me his game. You didnt run into any white and black wierdness? I can remove the shadows and fix the menu if I can get it to work though.

Update: Nope same as before http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/eqzitara/image/4f8f78da378501ad62000000/
Seems sammaz had same issue. Maybe it has something to do with drivers. I use a 680 so I am pretty much stuck with drivers atm. Not sure but I believe sammaz had same issue. I can get it to play in black and white using f5? WTF... is up with this game lol. I turn on 3d it starts off bad then it starts multiplying and gets worse and worse. Very strange.

There is an option to turn shadows off btw.

Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition
3D VISION READY
This game is the same beautiful game as before only played like 20 minutes of it so far. It has that annoying locked convergence feature but their are ways to get around that. See this thread for details if you wish to change it http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=200281&st=1120 . Though I feel like they "locked it" in a good place. Make sure you DISABLE DOF(depth of field). I will attach screenshots tommorrow when I get to play more.

For higher convergence use Sammaz's settings(I now use same). Really adds life to scenes/gameplay. It appeared too flat before adjusting.
C:\Users\home\Documents\Witcher 2\Config\User.ini
open it up.
Go to where it says viewport and underneath your resolution paste
ConvergenceClose=0
ConvergenceCutscene=1.7
ConvergenceInside=2.7
ConvergenceOutside=2.7
[/quote]

Any success getting the Enhanced Edition to actually display in 5760x1080?

The option is listed correctly in the graphics configuration, but the game only displays as if it were set at 1920x1080. I also tried running the game with EVGA Precision's OSD. Interestingly, the OSD displayed in the top corner of my left monitor as though the game were running at the tri-screen resolution, but the gameplay, cinematics, menu, etc. were all limited to the center monitor.
