Andrew, any ETA (Samsung and Bioshock 2) How much longer????

Andrew,
I understand you are working hard to get these new drivers out (and I do appreciate it) but this is getting a bit ridiculous. I have been waiting quite some time to get past the CD1.15 drivers so I can play games like Avatar and now Bioshock 2 (which I heard has no profile yet), and quite a few other games. A lot of us paid good money to have a 3D setup in house and it appears maybe we early adopted too soon. If you have a beta driver that works, let the rest of us try it out. I tried to PM you but I never saw the drivers (or a response). I fully support Nvidia and 3D vision but I feel that maybe the technology isn't fully realized yet. At least give us a time frame so I know whether or not I should be returning my second pair of glasses. I am afraid that my system will be incompatible with these glasses and don't want to lose $200+.

End Rant.

Hi Samsung DLP Beta may come sooner than later. BioShock 2 requires a new patch, which is what we are waiting to hear back from the developer on.

This is bologna for a game that was supposed to be 3d compatible. Was there actually any communication or did they just slap the 3d stereo option in there to sell a few more copies earlier? It honestly looks as if absolutely no one even tried it in 3d stereo before shipping it. Pathetic.

I just tried it myself and the whole image is doubled everywhere. I know the game is set underwater, but this literally is so blurry that it feels like I am underwater.

I was so looking forward to playing this game. I don't want to play it in 2d or in bad 3d. Just the great 3d that we were all expecting from this game.

I will check for "sooner" on my calendar. I appreciate the effort but I am running out of "return" time. I really enjoy these glasses but between Bioshock 2 and no Samsung support, I am getting a little frustrated. Even worse, WOW has issues now as well. It appears these glasses are getting worse over time. I just want to know when the drivers will be released. How about a month or week or day? Anything? I read these forums before I purchased and felt people were being harsh but now I understand why (with answers like "sooner than later". How about "yesterday").
I am willing to help with any technical questions you may have. You have my email. I have about 7 days left on my purchase.

Will dynamic shadows be fixed to work in 3d? Shadows are one of the most impressive features of modern games, and so it sucks to have to disable them so often.

I agree. I mean, I would take 3d over shadows any day but I rather not have to choose. :-)

Thanks andrew for working on a 3DVision profile for Bioshock.
Agree that It would be great to have dynamic shadows enables in stereo. But perhaps more important is to allow us to disable any visual effects that break the stereoscopic immersiveness.

Bioshock I is amazing in 3D except for some dynamic lights and 2D fog sprites that are very distracting.

If these things are fixed Bioshock2 could be a killer app for 3D vision.

Also for those who would like to have thed smooth cinematic analog motion and punchy forced feedback of Bioshock I sign the petition for 360 controller support!

Another EPIC FAIL for Games for Windows, unless it is unintentional. GfW titles are supposed to support 360 controllers. It is part of the requirements. Well, I guess its somewhat optional, but an FPS without 360 control? I like to use my controllers on my HTPC. I prefer mouse/keyboard for Bioshock 1, but I didn't play it much on HTPC yet.

Bioshock 2 isn't exactly a pinpoint shooter that requires a mouse and keyboard. I would vastly prefer to use a 360 controller and play on my tv until the 3d patch gets released.

They actually said in a interview that they did a fwe things for the PC that made it not work with a controller well; agreed it should be put in for people who want it thought.

They said something about how it turn in FOV vs HUD vs something else but it still didn't convince me that it had to be removed... PC gaming would be more welcome for consolers to try if they didn't do this like COD MW2
