Praise for Nvidia stereo 3d. my personal opinion on Nvidia and Gaming
This is a Praise and testament to Nvidia's hard work...
I've been a computer gamer get this since dig dug, and the other 8086 games.... and yes that is a very long time. My gaming experience has been with mainly playstation2 on the console end. However, computer gaming has evolved into something more unimaganable than any console owner can ever grasp....Obviously I speak of stereo 3d! Unfortunately it is a supply and demand world and the ever increasing sales of Playstation 3's and Xbox's will undoubtedly see the end of stereo 3d. /no.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I've built my very first gaming rig about 3 months ago using the knowledge I gained from an A+ computer hardware class taken in 2004..., with lot's of research in between. With my new rig I've mainly been doing nothing but play Doom3, Grand theft Auto, need for speed most wanted, and star wars rogue squadron (just to name a few) in stereo 3d.
The detail and depth percieved in viewing Games in stereo 3d is more awesome than any HD TV with 1080p and a latest greatest console, in my opinion. Even better is the experience when wearing Noise cancelling head phones. Just something about submersing yourself into a game of Doom 3 at 2A.M. with the lights off... the stereo glasses on... the head phones screaming "Marine!!...Get your a$$ back over to Delta!!...NOW!!", and almost crapping your pants as a Demon jumps out of the screen from around an unseen corner!. This Experience is Priceless. Having an Adrenaline rush without having to leave the house!!!!.... Priceless!... truely priceless is the experience I'm talking about. And for those that don't know and understand the world of stereo 3d..... I truely pitty. Enjoy your console gaming. For I will stay in the dinosaur age of my Stereo 3d, and I will continue to invite you over to my gaming rig to watch your reactions of "OMG that is so Freaking Cool!!!!!!!.... Woah!!!!!!!" Over and over again. /devil.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> /haha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':haha:' /> :D

The Collector of only games that work with stereo 3d,
Ya 3d IS really Cool and it is in fact getting more noticable and expanding into even the consoles with the release of the 3d Capable HDTV's.
Plus the Movie industry is overgoing a 3d Surge in movies theaters going 3d and more movies in 3d are comming in the Future.
Plus with Anti Piracy techniques 3d is the almost perfect solution as without the glasses the image is Blurry. It also will NOT be in 3d anymore if you just take a Camcorder and record it ;) so who wants to watch a Blurry NO Surround sound version of a movie anyhow????
I plan on going with a Projector setup with the 3d Glasses for a real immersive simulation setup for my Flight Sims.
Flight Sims in 3D are just Awesomes. also check out HalfLife 1 & 2 in 3d truely amazing ;)

So you are saying I need a stereo recording rig to steal a 3D movie? Hmm. I could be rich!
Just kidding, be legal.
I agree Franko, this is so freaking cool it is unbelievable. Have you tried World Racing? In World Racing 2 there is a mouse zoom and rotate mode that you can back out and see the entire landscape in 3D, and it pauses balloons, skydivers and airplanes/helicopters in mid-flight!!
I am very upset that movies are not released in 3D to the consumer (obviously because you can set up a better system than a theater, ask me how I know). Imax feels the need to grift you, instead of let you enjoy your pre-existing setup in the comfort of your own home.
