CES 2017 3D Vision monitors
It's a 1080p monitor, not 4K.
Well duh, of course it is. But good luck running 3d vision games at 4k in 3dvision with decent performance, even 1440p is difficult in this regard. But, I think you can avoid the inherent image quality loss that comes with not running a monitor in it's native resolution with this screen if you play at 1080p and the real excitement for us around here would be we have a new monitor that's 3dvision certified, as the future was looking a bit grim.

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.

I don't get it... 3D adds much more information to our experience, both in games as in films, than colours do (IMO). People who are missing one eye have very serious problems grabbing objects, pouring liquids, driving... and many other things. It's much more of a practical problem to be one-eyed than being colour-blind. I would rather have a perfect black and white 3D experience than a 4K coloured one (if I had to choose;). In my head we should have gotten decent stereoscopy 30 years ago and stereoscopy should have been, by now, in every single home and theatre; it should be the normal way we watch or play. What's wrong with the world? People do not realise how much more 3D gives you compared to the "standard" 2D viewing. It kind of pisses me off.

^ its pretty frustrating, Depth just adds an incredible amount to a game that's for sure. 3D is so good I will probably give up playing games if it dies and wait five years for VR to improve, if that doesn't take off I'm done!
What's wrong with the world?
That's a good question :) I think the main problem is when it comes to entertainment such as movies and games, most people are very casual and don't care about getting the best possible experience. They prefer spending their time playing something dumb like candy crush on their phone. Most are happy with crappy quality streaming video with 2.0 sound when a Blu-ray is available. These people definitely don't care about 3D and even less about 4K and HDR.
