Mass Effect: Andromeda - 3D Vision Fix (3D Vision Partial-fix released)
12 / 27
Pff.. I hate you guys!
Fine, fine you want my Wip... I'll sort it out and give it out:)
But remember a few things:

- I do this in my free time, so don't come bragging, or worst of all, blame me for not working in X, Y, Z, W MODE! (Don't be the GUY that came THIS YEAR to swear me and use my words in a WRONG manner for our Rise of the Tomb Raider fix not working in DX12. He "lost" 20 minutes trying it out. Well, I've lost 300+ HOURS making that fix you freaking and retarded ingrate! So, yeah a MERRY FUCK YOU! (PS: It seems I know English better than you after all.... you douche bag!) :

(Again, A MERRY FUCK YOU! ^_^)
- THE FIX WILL BE TIED TO CERTAIN SETTINGS!!! If setting x,y,z,w doesn't work for you I'm SORRY! Don't have the time to try them all out! Expect the highest settings around - and obviously, the hardware to push it!
- The fix is made mostly for 3D Surround!
- Expect the "normal" Frostbite3 behavior. Certain things seems to render mono in Single GPU configurations. SLI works perfectly fine and always! I'll try to find a solution for this, but this a 3D VISION PROBLEM !!!
- LIGHTS WILL BE DISABLED IN QUITE A BIG PART! (I still believe is a Compute Shader problem and I can prove it! Problem is, no one, except DarkStarSword, can probably help me out here:( )
- IT WILL RELY on different key SHORTCUTS, 'cause the devs loved to "mess" things up. Sure, looks ok in 2D, but adding the 3rd dimension... well...
- You will have to SWAP between Geometry 3D (Real 3D) and Compatibility Mode (Fake 3D) in certain AREAS! Of course, you don't have to! If you don't mind the missing lights, this is FINE:)
- IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME, as it requires a lot of traveling and "shader-hunting by planet" !
- OH and, HEADERS ARE "STRIPPED", meaning "I'm guessing" what is what and how to fix it! I have no buffer information, just my experience and knowledge of PAST Frostbite3 games! So... this will add some time!

That aside ^_^ again... NO STRINGS ATTACHED !
You are free to report bugs, or things that don't look right! If I can replicate and see the issue, I will fix it! But, don't expect an update "the next day":) (I have my regular boring life, outside of this, even if I wish I could do this the whole day, but this doesn't pay any bill. IT'S PURE PASSION AND LOVE ^_^)
As I've said this (Should make it a sticky lol - in the name of all fixers here) I'll try my best! Sooner, rather than later, I should have something!
PS:
"Ugly" looking game! ^_^

@helifax, thank you for the CM profile :-) What a cool game.
Win7/Pro 2x980ti -378.92- 5960x1080 bezel corrected
Maybe one of you guys can help me on a Reshade issue. Just using for color tweak.
Reshade 3.0.7 - and Nibis Preset http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/6997/
Reshade sets up fine, loads it's shaders, but as soon as I load the preset, CM 3D breaks and goes in to 2D. I still have the "green CM Mode on" and the "emitter" is on, but no 3D.
I've scoured (somewhat) google and have disabled AA in game, and spun the depth wheel on the NVemitter.
Does it not work with Compatibility Mode or what the heck am I missing?
Do I need to try on my alternate Win10 OS?-takes forever to download and will try, but thought I'd ask.
Thanks,,,
***EDIT*** Forget it, on Win10 -381.65- It all works fine. Onward :-)

Simply use SFX 2.0, i have also created a profile for 3D Vision 2 color and light "correction"
http://www.share-online.biz/dl/7KR5F3OOHYTJ
There is a SweetFX_settings_3DV.txt in the SweetFX folder. Just delete the SweetFX_settings.txt and rename the 3DV.txt. Try it and adapt your contrast/light from 3D Vision monitor mode and or ingame gamma.

A bit of more technical questions now:
- Do you SLI users get flickering when 3D is on on certain maps? In 3D Vision Automatic not CM mode ? Using the official profile I get epilepsy inducing flickering.
- On a single GPU, (No SLI), do you guys get the game to only sometimes load in 3D? Other times you get like some object in 2D (like your head is 2D and the body is 3D) ?
Freaking hell, I HATE this engine man! I doesn't behave properly in any mode... DA:I all over again :(

:( Crap... Everything was working smooth on my SLI setup until I tried it on my laptop and saw this crap.
Then when I disabled Surround and SLI on my Desktop I was getting the same thing:((
Yey! Here goes a whole day wasted trying to make it work on a single GPU....

Right...
After lots and lots and lots and............ LOTS of testing...
I think, I figured out how to make the game work in:
- SINGLE GPU, to load the game so stuff looks right! and the fix should work.
- SLI, to remove the annoying flickering that kills your brain, without sacrificing the PERFORMANCE, from what I can tell.
- Should work for both 3D Surround and SINGLE screen, but 3D Surround is 100% way to play it (less distractions and problems).
I also, added and tested the code that would allow moving from CM to Geometry 3D and back.
I also add changes to the fix that allows you to play the game (or 95% of it) just using proper 3D Vision (no CM), but ofc, with the LACK of extra lights (This might actually change quite dramatically how you "see and feel" things, but is very much doable).
At the end of the day, if boils down to what you want more: Geometry based 3D - with less lights, or FULL intended experience - as the devs made it - in Fake3D CM mode). I like a mix of them.
Again, I want to HIGHLIGHT this. I made the fix to SUIT my needs! Is not a proper 3D Vision fix by any means! Just a way to enjoy the game in 3D Vision (Geometry)!!!
If you are a Mass Effect fan (and btw, I know I bashed the game hard initially, is actually a "9" game in my book - keep on playing till the end and you understand WHY) you would take LESS LIGHTS over CM any day!
This said, I plan to release the WIP very soon!
Word of caution, it will REQUIRE you to FOCUS and get your head around it! If you come here and say "NO WORKY", you'll be ignored as you simply don't care or don't want to work it out and you show no respect to OUR WORK! (This is DA:I all over again, in terms of "fucked-up" way to make it work).
And look at that! I already clocked 115 hours in the game just to try to make my "WIP" work...

(So, please! Don't come here and swear me or whatever, 'cause it "took you 20 minutes or X minutes and not worky for you"! I am sorry, that you can't figure it out, and MOVE ON! Go stick with a Console or PHONE - whatever suits your "zero-neurons" needs!)

@Losti, thank you, very nice and better than what I had. Works fine in win10, not win7 like the others would not, but whatever, not worth debugging if it's working in win10. Appreciate the "color" :-)
@helifax, glad I have the same cards and Surround as you :-)
Always appreciative - djb

Helifax man 115 hours! you don't sleep or what xD
Talking about performance I don't think that this kind of "cartoon" graphics deserve that much gpu performance.. hbao and lighting are great but not to this point to run at 40-60fps 1440p. I will wait (and so much I guess) for some performance update.
My personal opinion for the first 30 hours with deap investigation not rushing: The game is far from what we got on the trilogy.. 3D space navigation ok nice but each time to do this is prety anoying especialy scaning for nothing, the ambiance and the sounds are not that great as the trilogy.. IA is poor.. Previous armory is better.. anyway.. it's Andromeda and not 4 so i don't thing that we have to compare it to the main Mass Effect :D
With 3D vision it will be very good to see some areas but performance is actually not as good for that.
Thank you very much Helifax and the others for keeping the support of 3D vision!
