any way to set constant default convergence?
i set custom convergence in some games using the helix mod, where i press "u" to set it to that setting.. but it resets to the default levels every time the scene changes, so i have to keep pressing the key to set it back... is there any way to permanently set the custom convergence levels without this happening?

It might be the way the DX9Settings.ini is setup up, do you have a default set in it?
UseByDef = True
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/701511/3d-vision/any-way-to-set-fixed-custom-presets-for-games-/post/4145960/#4145960

Depends on the game. We have been implementing automatic convergence lately where it changes depending on scene[Still customizable]. http://www.3dvisionlive.com/ugc/26211/castlevanialordsofshadow2 http://www.3dvisionlive.com/ugc/25555/dmc-devil-may-cry3d I really couldnt guess if this is one of them. Its generally mentioned in the instructions. I would need to know the game. ----------------------------- I am guessing we are talking about DMC since Helix generally uses "U" key [I don't] Instructions Seperate convergence setting for gameplay/cinematic will automatically trigger. [Cinematic]Press F3 adjust depth/convergence setting and save with F7 [Gameplay]Press F4 adjust depth/convergence setting and save with F7 Must restart game once for new settings to apply.

You might also need to set the NVidia default by Ctrl-F7. Set your convergence how you like, then Ctrl-F7, and you'll get OSD saying saved. Maybe that's it.
