E-D, nvidia and lcd works but not very well No 3D in most game, pls help if you can
Hi,
I had receipt my glasses yesterday... Before hours of intensive fight, i had understand that for glasses blink (flicker ? which of this two word is correct for glasses ?) resolution on game and resoltion on windows xp must be the same ! Now nvidia stereo driver hurry up well, and glasses (wireless) too... But effect is not good... in Torino, i had a little 3D, not so bad, but not "amazing" like i had read. And in other game... no effect...

The problem is the LCD monitor. From what I understand, you are running 3D interlaced that's why you are getting the heavy flicker. You need to get your refresh rate as high as it will go to minimize flicker. I have never heard of anyone with a standard LCD monitor that was satisfied with 3D.

but i have not 3D in game execpt in torino :s
Maybe look for test with a crt... but i think that the problem is in configuration of nvidia/game. I have read 2-3 guy that was satisfied with lcd :)
Some folks had luck in the past here with LCD's by changing the 3D method to interlaced, you can do this with ED activator http://solo11.abac.com/edimensional/downloads/E-D.exe
launch, right click on the tray icon, change viewing method to interleaved. You can exit ED activator and it should remain interleaved until you change it. As far as the flickering, the glasses are limited by the refresh rate of your monitor.

i do this the first day :) i think that is the refresh rate of my lcd my probleme :). if i found a friend who have a crt why a refresh rate of 120hz for test :)

I think you will find the CRT much better for 3D applications, don't forget to change the viewing method back to page flip with the ED activator when you try the CRT. Good luck and Happy hologaming /geek.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':geek:' />

I didn't know this was possible with E-D drivers. I thought it was interlaced only; have they changed it recently?

The activator is different than the game driver. It won't work on games it is just a simple on/off program, but it is useful for changing the viewing method.
