3D vision w/ SLI ITs great but....
Alright, so I got the 3D vision bundle off tiger direct. Let me start by saying the monitor is amazing and and the 3d is even better, I am really enjoying it. The 3d is deep and it has impoved my gameplay, whereas I can now lead targets better and have a better sense of my enviroment... like im really there! I would recomend this system to anyone!!! I have used it with Battlefield 2, COD 4 and Company of heroes OF. All great! Although aside from the demo program not much comes out of the screen you see depth more, but these game are pre-gen-3d, newer games i imagine will cater to the popping out..ness haha. Where at that time nvidia will have to redo their nifty 3d rating guide....

Anyway to my problem, when I enable SLI (Twin XFX 9800GT's with an AMD Phenom 9950 Black edition on a nforce 750 mobo) I get a flickering and every couple of min the 3d shuts off all together. It is bad... so that I have disabled SLI to use the 3D :(, Nvidia any suggestions or driver fixes. PS I have the most recent 3d drivers and I followed all the directions in the quick start guide.

I can't answer your SLI question. However, in your advanced settings, there should be an option to turn "convergence" on. Here is a guide on how to set your games up in 3D for the different depth experiences:

Hi There,

Can you list the following info:

- GeForce driver version
- 3D Vision driver version
- Which apps you see the failures in and what patch versions you have installed (if any)
- What exactly is the failure, a BSOD or a NVLDDM.sys driver failure

Thanks.

1. & 2. Was using the 270 series drivers
3. Win 7 desktop
4. Intermitant lockups, mouse wouldn't move, spinners pause, etc. every few seconds lasting for a few seconds.

No errors reported by Windows, but I didn't search logs or anything.

Steps to reproduce would include enabling SLI while the 3D vision drivers are installed, then restarting Windows. Before the restart the problem wasn't apparent.

Using the latest drivers now, and for about 10 mins after restarting (so far), haven't had a problem yet :-)

Cheers
