Hi All
If you have specific questions, please list them here. I can't keep up with every forum posting since I have a daily job which keeps me busy 10+ hrs a day.
Seems like the top issues are:
- BioShock 2: When is the game patch coming out?
- Samsung DLP: When is a driver for all being released?
What else?
I would also like to know why it is necessary to so thoroughly lock down user registry preferences such as those that used to enable me to increase depth to over 100%? One persons idea of 100% is not that of another. Being that it is so subjective, why get rid of the option?
The other issue I have is with profiles. Either profiles should be released in a timely manner (either before or on a game launch date and not weeks later) or we should be given the ability to create our own profiles and let the community handle it.
Also, is there a team dedicated to the 3d vision drivers?

no ghosting= happy customer. DLP will be my last resort as I don't feel like throwing around money when I already have a '3d- ready' monitor in my Samsung 2233rz.

I don't think this was so much about discussing ATI. From reading the original posters entire post it looks more like they were talking about a mod showing up to stifle discussion when every other mod/nvidia employee had been silent for such an extended time period with all these issue piling up one after the other. Some of these issues are very disconcerting especially when andrew had boasted about how awesome certain games were going to be with 3D Vision and then them being released and the experience being utter crap.

Stay on topic, children. We finally have Andrew's attention (sort of), let's not lose it by bickering and flaming each other.
Speaking of Andrew, when are we getting a LORD OF THE RINGS ONLINE 3d Vision profile???? It's not like it's a new game, and it desperately needs to be optimized. /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

It's not that important in the grand scheme of things. However it is a hobby I take seriously. I really enjoy getting the best experience I can out of my synthetic experiences. So when I have issues that stand in the way it bugs me. Not like the evils perpitrated in the world bugs me, but within the scope of my hobby, the issues are important enough to discuss in a public forum dedicated to the subject.

Ok, I'm getting a tad worried that this is getting OT. So I shall attempt to summarize what the current gripe with 3DV is all about:
1. Profiles for 3D Vision required big time due to their popularity:
- Bioshock 2
- Mass Effect 2
- WoW
- Alien vs Predator
2. Nature of profiles for 3D Vision
- ability to increase depth beyond 100%
- ability to manually create a profile for a hitherto unsupported game similar to creating an SLI profile
- general ability to alter 3D Vision specific settings from the Control Panel rather than within the game via CTRL+F5 etc.
3. Hardware detection via the Nvidia software
- support for DLP
- a clear statement why some monitors used to work and now stopped being supported. If this is the result of a licensing policy with monitor/projector manufacturers, fair enough. But let us know.
The first game I played in 3D Vision was Dragon Age, and I absoluetly fell in love with the technology. I love my setup, it's great hardware, but in the coming months 3D will be stepping into the limelight big time, and all marketing measures aside, it will be the opinion of users such as ourselves that will to a large extent make or break Nvidia's share in that big pie that is 3D.
Looking forward to some insighful answers. If I forgot anything, I think it would be good practice to quote this post and add to the list. Thanks

Also, there is MTBS3D.com which is a non-proprietary forum to discuss 3D related things. This isn't the place.
