How to make my NVIDIA Quadro 1000M send a 3D Signal to my 3D TV.
I am trying to run my CAD application(Catia V6, 2014x - Open GL, stereoscopic mode) in stereo on my Philips Active 3d TV (40PUK6809). My CAD program is running on my Dell Precision with GPU : NVIDIA QUADRO 1000M. The testapplication from NVIDIA is working fine in stereo with the active glasses in sync. Apparently that signal is understood well by the TV. When switching to the CAD application, I see on screen the image flickering with double borders, as it is active 3D, but the TV still believes this is a 2D signal. The glasses remain death. How can I make my GPU telling my TV this is a 3D signal, and should switch to 3D mode ? I am using a very good HDMI cable, and as said before, the testapp is running fine.

In NVIDIA the control panel, the setting "Stereo-Enable" for my application, is set to "ON", and the Stereo-Display mode" is set to "Generic Active Stereo".

You might have to buy Nvidia 3DTV Play in order to unlock Nvidia's steroscopic middleware. It will support HDMI 1.4 compliant 3D HDTVs/Projectors via a HDMI connection and requires that you use the display manufacturers glasses. There's a free trial. It cost's $40. 3DTV Play is free if an Nvidia emitter is connected to the PC, but it will not work with Nvidia's glasses though.
