I just wanted to mention that this game is now free to play and other than shadows ( so just turn that off ) it's 3d ready for me, it's even rated excellent by nvidia. Any fan of fallout should check this game it's really good.

Problem with that is "free to play" actually means "pay to win". I refuse to play free to play mmos because of that fact, would rather pay monthly. That being said I have played Fallen Earth before and it is a pretty good game, just a shame they went the "pay to win route" was actually thinking about picking it up again before I heard that.

Have you actually tried any of these "free to play" games? Most of them still offer a monthly billing plan as well, including Fallen Earth.
The whole 'pay to win' excuse is only applicable on a very few f2p mmos. No offense, but this generalization kinda irks me a bit.
It's like people are mad that the game is trying to survive or something /tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Oh don't take me wrong they have every right to go to whatever business model they want to. But I also have every right to not play any game where people who pay extra get an advantage over those who don't. If fallen earth does have a monthly plan and if there is no system where you pay cash directly for items or stats, then I'm happy to hear it. Might have to check out the game again in 3d if that is the case, because it is a very good low budget game, I had a lot of fun with the crafting system in particular.

I don't understand why some of the naysayers get all in a huffy when you say F2P, like its a big conspiracy to ripp you off. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO. I play a lot of F2P games and I've never had to pay for anything. It's not like they are forcing you to buy things from the game.

I understand where you're coming from, but I don't agree with your prejudice on free2play games. And it's not so much you, but this common complaint is as similarly short sighted as the people that say 3d is a gimmick. I have yet to see a profound example of this 'advantage' in any f2p mmo, besides mounts, vanity items and experience boosting. In my opinion the f2p model is great, let's you try out a game for free and for those compelled enough to support the developers you get an enhanced experience. Nobody forces you to pay, and if you're to the point where you feel you HAVE to pay, then by then, i doubt you will mind, seeing as how you've been playing the game for FREE and invested so much time into it. That's just my 2 free cents.
