I have the LW5700 LG TV (routed through my Yamaha rx-V871) which works great with 3DTV Play, but i also just bought an Optoma HD33 and it is hooked up to the 2nd HDMI output on my Yamaha. But it only shows up as "1.4 Bluray 3D" or something like that (ill post images soon)
I dont have 3D glasses for the HD33 yet, but it almost seems like I need to buy ANOTHER copy of 3DTV Play for it to work and be detected. Is this the case? How do I get this PJ working with 3DTV PLAY?
Suggestions? So far this projector looks really good!

First off, a display must be list on the Nvidia requirements/supported list. Which the HD33 clearly is, so no problem there. http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-system-requirements.html
Second, the EDID must be recognized for the display that is connected, by your OS as well as by the Nvidia control panel.
There is no need to buy another copy of 3DTV Play.

Seems like it sorted itself out. I changed a few reciever settings and it seems ok but Ive yet to recieve the glasses so cant really say though it looks to be activating fine now on both. Cant wait for glasses to show up.
