Yes I've had things come out of the screen a good several feet with this t.v..
I sit about 10 feet away in my living room, and sometimes things appear to
almost reach the coffee table about 2 feet in front of me.
Tom Clancy's Hawx was pretty sweet I recall.. but since I got my DLP projector
I haven't used my t.v in a while.. :( lol
As the further away i sit, the greater are the pop out effects? I´m sitting approximately 1 m away from the TV. Is this the reason why i have not such great pop out effects? I have aa few IMAX DVD´s with a trailer from "Encounter in the third Dimension" And there is a dinosaur and his head seems to be coming out off the screen, but i see this effect in 3D Cinemas like Disneyland. When a head comes out of the screen and look around in the cinema. Are you have such things too when you sit 10 feet awway from the screen? :) I think there is no hope for me to get rid of the ghosting without extreme bright games!?
thank you to anybody who try to answer my questions :)

Ahhh and is there any chance that Samsung can make the 3D Mode available by software update or is that implented in the Hardware that the 3D Mode will only be activatable at 1360x768 or 1024x768 resolution?

I see, but can the tv theoretically activate the 3D Mode at 1280x720 or is the hardware only made for 3D Mode in 1360x768 and 1024x768? It`s a bit difficult to explain with my language barrier :( Can the TV enable 3D Mode in 1280x720 in theory or is it only at 1360x768 and 1024x768 because of the Hardware design of the tv?
I don`t really know how to set convergence at the right values for me :( I just see every thing doubled when i change convergence :( i wish someone could explain it to me that i can understand how to use it right. Same thing with depth. When i increase depth, i can see how the pictures spread but i don`t get a higher depth :( Thanks for the tipp with geoforms :) i already tried. And there is really pop out but not that much like everybody said. Is it cause i`m too close to the tv?
i really wan`t to thank everybody who trys to help me. There are not much forums in german about 3D Vision :(

3D menu options only show up if the resolution is 1360x768, 1024x768 and also 1280x768 but at 1280x768 there is a weird stripe effect through the screen but it does work but pretty much unusable.

Dude you keep asking for help, but the resources are right in front of you.
Do you have the keyboard shortcuts for convergence set in the Nvidia Control Panel ?
With this t.v you will want to use a low amount of Depth. -I never had to go higher than 10-15%
to create a 3d effect. Keep the depth low and it might be easier to set the convergence.
In a fps, or third person game for exame, take off your glasses.. everything should be slightly doubled, now
increase or decrease the convergence until the two images of your character (or gun) converge into
one image. Put your glasses back on.
Make sure you're sitting far back enough from the set, I'd say at least 6 feet if you want pop out.
Reduce the brightness of Digital Vibrance in the Nvidia control panel. I found that helps quite
a bit to reduce the ghosting on this t.v.
I'm sorry but I'm not sure what else you're looking for... I hope something I've mentioned
works for you, the best thing to do is just keep trying ! Process of elimination..
thx dreamingawake:) you helped me alot :) you must know that a topic like convergence is really really hard to understand for me because of my english skills :) i thank everybody for their patience with me :) i try your suggestions :) i really want to thank you :)
Now i know why i had trouble with depth :) i thought i had a kind of disability :) but when you say that the t.v. had problems with mor than 10-15% than it makes sence to me :)
@ Bullripper: Thank you :) i didn`t noticed before that the tv can handle 3D Mode at 1280x768 :) i`ll try that :)

Select 1280x768 in the 3D control panel for the Nvidia logo test, I don't know why you want to try this so much though as I described the 3D option enables on the TV but the picture has a weird striping through it and is pretty much useless.
I think a Fifa game I tried last year also didn't have 1360x768 as an option and only had 1280x768 as a hardcoded resolution so I tried that too and the same effect with the striping.
Ok mate maybe time to help you try and eliminate the ghosting a bit which I can see you are frustrated with.
How I did it was playing around with the settings in the registry for the NV stereo, but you got to make sure it saves and doesn't revert the settings back once you close regedit.
There is a post on here where a user explains how to set the display size in the registry and keep it saved, I used this information on how to keep the changes and went from here playing with registry entries. I'll try and find it for ya and also try and remember the settings I was playing around with in the registry. Hang tight :)
Ok found it http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtop...0depth&st=0
But reading now it looks like new drivers doesn't let the change stick unfortunately, Nvidia why why why why is just everything so hard with this product, again and again and again see a pattern forming. Give your customers want you want, you are the most locked out of the 3D products on the market and I fear this route will leave you in the dust!!!
When I did this I must have a been on an earlier driver, I am still firm on the Nvidia glasses are the worst on the market for ghosting. Can't wait to substantiate this claim when more glasses come on the market.
Don't give up on this Plasma mate, don't believe the hype that it is all the Plasma fault relating to ghosting because it is not. To the user that talks about phosphor decay timing, aren't we talking about a "Plasma" not a CRT :)
I get ghosting even on my HD66 optoma projector and people say this should be 0 ghosting pffff yer right, it's the Nvidia drivers and it's the Nvidia glasses that are the main cause!!!
Anyone wants proof just hold down the power button on your glasses so only one shutter is blocking light, and look through that shutter. What a joke no wonder they give so much ghosting, the whole lens isn't uniform for the blocking of light and even what is blocking the light more is so opaque it's not funny!!!
I can see where this will lead to premium glasses that go properly full black as a black similar to a pioneer KURO plasma display that has inky blacks, I guarantee your ghosting issues will be greatly reduced.

Bullripper you are great :) You just can`t imagine what a good feeling it is that someone helps me :) you and dreamingawake are great guys. There are almost 0 sources in german where somebody like me can get help for 3D Vision. And maybe 10% know about the 3D Capabilitys for this TV. It`s so frustrating. I got the "permission" to buy this TV from my girlfriend because i`m talked every day about 3D. I remembered it from when i was young with the Elsa 3D Glasses :) So she said ok buy it. And now the hopes are very low that we can use the TV in the future for 3D :( i bought the tv in november 2009:( And didn`t know the poor support from NVIDIA for 3D Vision or Samsung for the TV and that 3 Months later a "new" Generation of 3D TV´s will come. I'm still not dare to tell her that :o I know what she would say. And i want to thank you guys because of your patience about me. I have so many questions. And in german there is no one to answer them :( And in this forums every 5 Minutes are new threads opened and threads like this are going to get lost :( I just want to try the 3D effect at 1280x768 ... just try it :) i believe you when you say its crap. I tried your suggestion about the blocking of light. You are right, i can see a bit through the blocked shutter. again thanks for everything :)
