The first StereoCutoffDepthNear value I mentioned should be the best one for keeping all the shadows rendered. I tested this looking out the window of the apartment and the 2D halo shouldn't be visible at all since I decreased the value in very small steps until I saw distant shadows disappearing but in case you find landscapes with missing shadows you should increase it a bit more.

@Kaimasta Works! but this introduce others issues in the world render, like the floor when you get out of the apartment (in the hallway), it's in 3D, but totally off. This don't happens with the original profile. **EDIT: Also the halo fix now is not working properly...with the original profile is working OK. **EDIT2: And also now there is a black layer in the left eye, in certain angles and places...with the original profile is working OK. Maybe we need another values? Some screenshots with the dynamics shadows working (fixed). And also fixed the Lights Shafts. @Kaimasta I hope you have more luck than i...i try severals combinations and always the same problem :( The issue is not shader related, is purely how the drivers handles this. In this screenshots, you can see both issues: 1) The wrong world render in the left eye...like a distortion at some distance degree. in this angle the floor is OK, but in another angle the issue appear in the floor also. 2) That black layer in the right eye. Well I should've expected that when using StereoCutoffDepthNear since those issues happen in lots of other games. I guess it would be better to just mark the shadows and try to fix them manually using the default StereoCutoff. I think this missing shadows problem is related to the 3D driver culling them so you might want to start from there.

Sadly, using the default StereoCutoff is impossible to make the shadows works. Shadows are already fixed! also try changing the VS to make the shadows appear on screen, but nothing works....I almost sure this is related to driver level, not shader level. I'm out of ideas...

Apparently it's not a culling issue. I think the problem with those shadows is that they are separated beyond screen bounds by the driver even with just 1% depth. I hunted a shadows VS in the apartment with StereoCutoff - 0x00000002 and then I changed it back to StereoCutoff - 0x00000001 and when I put this in the ini file the shadows appeared: [ShaderOverride1] Hash=407f5c4d1e7c2eaf Separation=0

Try to hunt the missing shadows with StereoCutoff = 00000002 and then use a zero separation on them or make them render in mono after switching to the default StereoCutoff. At least you can find out if this is the exact issue. Edit: Also if you fixed the missing shadows with StereoCutoffDepthNear make sure not to use the same shader fixes for them with the default StereoCutoff since they may need a different fix. Try to make them appear on the screen first like I said above.

The only thing that worked for me is using zero separation on one type of VS shadows where you start the game which is why I thought the driver separates those shadows well beyond screen bounds even with 1% depth. Edit: Changing Separation to 0.01 doesn't work either. 0.001 makes some weird clipping on them from different angles. The next one that works correctly is 0.0001.

Great news that this game gonna have a fix, thanks so much to both [b]bo3b[/b], [b]DHR[/b] and everyone involved for their awesome efforts to resurrect this game to 3D life. I'm one of those, who waited for a fix. Good luck with the fix.

Also the shadows missing in the apartment are the one outside when you look out in the balcony...the interior shadows are working OK.
