I don't think so. The list has tons of games marked as working because, when they came out, they did work. The thing is, 3D Vision didn't exist when they came out! The previous technology (called Discover?) worked with OpenGL and older versions of DirectX while 3D Vision does not.
Basically, ignore the list for any game that came out before 2008.

Zloth is correct its an OpenGL game, support for OpenGL was done away with a while back, before I started using 3dVision... Searh for OpenGL and 3Dvision some people have tried to create a wrapper r something way above my head. There are other 3d drivers people got to woth with the Nvidia's glasses so do a search,,, I think the other drivers are IZ3d aint tried them thou...
Gothic 3 and 4 work really well with 3d, I just completed them last week, total of 180hrs from Gothic 3, Forsaken Gods and Arcania. Brilliant games but Gothic 3 HUGEEE....

Gothic 1 and 2 are NOT OpenGL games! They're DX7 resp. 8.
I wonder if there's really no way to modify the 3DVision profile for a game. There are some options for stereo display available in the nVidia Inspector, but none of them seem to do anything... :(

Older Direct3D was fundamentally different and now runs through an emulation layer. Apparently this makes it hard to do stereo3d.
@Zloth: Discover is part of the current 3dvision, it's what they call the anaglyph mode that is built-in and works without the emitter. The name is chosen because this way people can just experience 3D gaming with low-cost anaglyph glasses and when they have seen how awesome it is buy a proper solution. The old drivers were just called 3d stereo drivers. The old drivers also did work on the Direct3D versions of their day and OpenGL both, as well as supporting a lot of different 3d techs, all for free.
I understand nvidia wants to make money of it these days, but in my opinion they should use a model like iz3d's selling the driver for a lot of modes instead of how it works now. But even then, they should do more to get stereo3d working properly in current/new games or it will die another death :( Judging from how the exact same problems are happening on a lot of different new engines, I'd say the entire industry is using the same new techniques for effect and performance, so instead of trying to fix each game it's perhaps possible to fix the problems on a lower level. Of course, game/engine developers have to work together with nvidia and one another for this. Also perhaps a new version of DirectX could contain a good base for stereoscopy, effectively forcing developers to do things correctly instead of taking shortcuts, while also making it easier for them.

I am not aware of any DX7 or older games which work in 3D Vision.
I only know one DX8 game which runs well in 3D vision: Splinter Cell 1.
Splinter Cell looks excellent in 3D Vision.
On this forum, I learned a way to force 3D vision on.
Let's say you want to play a dx8 game in 3D vision, but 3D vision will not turn on.
The trick to force 3D vision on is to .....
change the game's exe file to splintercell.exe (or another file name which works in 3D)
A 3D Vision hack for DX6,DX7 and opengl games would be very much appreciated.

Doesn't work with this one.
So no one got this game working with 3D Vision???
1x Palit RTX 2080Ti Pro Gaming OC(watercooled and overclocked to hell)
3x 3D Vision Ready Asus VG278HE monitors (5760x1080).
Intel i9 9900K (overclocked to 5.3 and watercooled ofc).
Asus Maximus XI Hero Mobo.
16 GB Team Group T-Force Dark Pro DDR4 @ 3600.
Lots of Disks:
- Raid 0 - 256GB Sandisk Extreme SSD.
- Raid 0 - WD Black - 2TB.
- SanDisk SSD PLUS 480 GB.
- Intel 760p 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.
Creative Sound Blaster Z.
Windows 10 x64 Pro.
etc
But when I run the game there is no 3D Vision in it.
Is there any fix for this?

P.S. Gothic 2 doesn't work, either.
