That's default behavior so I am not sure whats been happening on your side. You can disable this behavior by using a registry key. Easiest way to do this is to download the advanced 3d settings program on the helix site.

Bizarre. I have never ever once seen that checkbox and I still use windows 7 most of the time. I have always used that advanced 3dvision setting manager to quickly apply my configuration after each driver update

There are threads about that check box, read them if you feel inclined. The checkbox comes and goes. you'll see it on one driver but not the next. Or on that next driver, you'll see it available for a different display I listed a driver version and/or display model in those past threads. It's also in the 3D Vision problems list, that is stickied. It's a nice feature to use on problematic games with launch issues.

I listed a driver version and/or display model in those past threads.

It's also in the 3D Vision problems list, that is stickied.

It's a nice feature to use on problematic games with launch issues.
