Gattling Gears is awesome...thanx for the recommend! Just started playing the survival mode and was very impressed...I set depth low and convergence high and all the robots pop out so well!

Your welcome! It's a lot of fun for e few bucks, isn't it? If you're walking your way through the campaign: things get way better after the prologue!

Well, right now I'm trying to get Far Cry 1 to work with 3DTV Play. Right now, it seems like even tho it does have 1920x1080 support, it's stuck at 1080p/32, instead of 1080p/24 which is required to work. I'm wondering if Ubisoft fixed it here. I don't see any options to get Far Cry to the required 1080p/24 at all. All in all, it would have been one of my favorites had 3DTV Play nor Ubisoft been so picky about bringing a game from 8 years ago, and giving it an "Excellent" compatibility rating a bad time on a 3D television. Hmm...

Rayman Origins!!

As much as I love Trine 2 (don't get me wrong), yesterday I bought the full version of Rayman Origins, played with conversion settings, it is MINDBLOWING and way better than the demo!

I'm playing with an Xbox controller so I can sit further away from my screen which adds a lot more depth.

First time ever event, at a certain point a createture came popping out of the screen and I almost fell of my chair SERIOUSLY!
[/quote]

I can't say I enjoy the cardboard cutouts that is Rayman:Origins in s-3d as much as actual 3d models on an actual 3d background like Trine 2.
It's not bad, but can't really be compared to Trine 2 in terms of game quality for s-3d.

Oops, never mind. I was able to figure it on in the Control Panel. I had to get the 3D Resolution set in place before even opening up Far Cry. Now it works, and looks pretty sweet. Although I really should try 3DTV Play on games off of Steam instead.

EDIT: I actually tried it on another favorite older game in my collection, NOLF2, and I can tell you that with enough tweaks in the display.cfg, and in autoexec.cfg, 3DTV Play will indeed work. There I set the 1920x1080/24p in the proper fields, and set the aspect ratio to 16:9, maybe a little overscanning is involved, but nothing to ruin gameplay.

3D wise you can't compare Trine 2 to anything. Gamewise, I prefer Rayman Origins.

I've played a few so far that I really enjoyed. Batman Arkham City was great and I'm now enjoying Alice Madness Returns. Crysis 2 also looked and played very well on my single 570 GTX card. I'd rate these excellent. I tried Metro 2033 but that taxes my card pretty bad. I'd probably need SLI to enjoy that in 1080p 3d. I had to tweek a a few things on some of these games but it's been well worth the extra FPS! I wish I could Get Trine or Trine 2 to work but haven't checked what fixes are needed. I'd really like to see Trine(s) working in 3D but it's broke. Game ON!

For Metro 2033, don't use DX11 or 10, use DX9, it looks almost exactly the same but the framerate is much higher. If you take comparison screenshots yourself, you'll see the only difference is DX11 is just a tad bit brighter in the shadows. Just modify both user.cfgs in the options, just search for there location using google.

Oh cool. I'll give that a try. That's the exact same thing I had to do to get Batman to run good with 3D. I didn't notice a difference either. That and I had to change the FSAA mode. I'll give it a try for Metro. Thx.

I'm simply surprised just how well CS: Source works in 3D. I know it's not listed in the 3D Vision list of games, but since it's on the same engine as Half-Life 2, it'll work all the same.

Dunno if any one has said it but GRID is amazing in 3d vision you just gotta turn down shadows a couple of notches, cockpit view is amazing especially in the old american muscle cars :)

I for one would not recommend 1080p 24hz, it's just too slow for games. With 3DTVs you are stuck at 720p 60hz

Cool, I'll have to check out the Demo. Wish I would of bought it a few months ago during the Steam sales. I did pick up TDU2 on sale though and that looks great in 3D! The game is more on the SIM's side but it seems pretty cool and the cars look amazing!

Alan Wake.

Was sceptical, since game was not coded to support 3D shadows.
However patch last month apparently improved situation so that game looks very good at low depth (about 8%) with convergence adjusted to taste.
The cinematic lighting effects tend to hide most of the 2D shadow disparity at these settings.

Excellent experience in 3D!

The Max Payne Engine used for the game is capable of excellent visual effects.
Hoping that shadows and lighting is made truly stereoscopic for Max's next big title.

Settings at medium getting 40-50fps smooth, on GTX-480x2 SLI plus old QX9650@3.7GHz.

Hoping to turn up to high settings on new GTX680 SLI build, if I could get the cards.

I'd like to add Uncharted 3 to the list. Havent finished the game yet, but just played through the chapter where you need to escape burning castle. That was just fantastic experience. Ive played in HMZ-T1 and scope, action, drive in those scenes were almost unparalleled. Great 3D all the way too.

Mass Effect 3
Resident Evil 5
Skyrim
Trine 2
Portal 2

Those are my top 5. Resident evil 5 isnt really one of the best BUT its coop. I had so much fun and was totally immersed with co-op / 3D. I love coop games unfortunately there are very little. If you liked Resident Evil 5 and have some someone to play coop with pick up. Hunted: Demon's Forge. I just fixed it because of my love coop and I feel there should be more 3D coop games. Its kind of like dungeons and dragons meets resident evil 5 (maybe a hint of painkiller). I played it in 3D with someone when it first came out. Though it had a ton of problems I had a ton of fun. Anywho if you can pick up a cheap copy from amazon or ebay(10-5 bucks) definetly give it a chance. One person can play fps while other plays action game = )

Id easily rate it at excellent after fix.
