I've thought several times about doing some sort of tutorial. What format seems right? Written, screen cast video? Not sure I'll get to it of course, but I'd like to add what I can.
Whatever you want really, written is fine with me, maybe with screenshots if you feel they're needed. Personally I use FastStone Image Viewer it's free, crop board (x), drawing board (d) with a rectangle highlighter among other things.
Even if I don't get it completely or only get to dabble in it, I'd still really like to at least try to learn and know as much of the process as possible. I've already put together some scripts, I'm just not sure what's really useful or needed anymore at this point. eg. I made one that removes all the garbage in front of the CRC and adds a 0 to it on all the dumped shaders in the directory.

Anyone been wondering about episode 4 and whether it was still being worked on?

Thanks, great interview.
I still haven't played beyond the first scene of the first episode - waiting for the full release.
That said, from that scene, and everything I've seen and read? It seems to me like this is something really special. On one hand, I absolutely can't wait to devour this. But I'll patiently wait as long as it takes for a game like this to be ready.

Also a shout-out to 4everAwake - this is a DX9 Unity title, and while what I played was perfect in 3D (except for the map), I'd happy donate this to the shared accounts if you're interested in taking a look (not sure if much of anything even needs fixing). If a 3d mouse pointer is possible, that would be amazing.

No problem.. I can have a look at this. I've been watching this game for a while now and I intended to start playing it when all the Acts have been released. (Kinda sad that it's taking so long, though)
Episode IV is out.
The games is 50% off until the 26th
Episode 5 is expected to release sometime in the next few years :P
And 50% off on GOG. Consider supporting these people even if it's more expensive, because of the no-DRM on any of their games. It makes modding much, much easier.

The vast majority of reviews say it's something really special, and I got that impression with what I played of it. The developers have been releasing new episodes fairly steadily, though the delay between each episode has been quite long. I doubt it will be abandoned. I'm personally waiting for the final episode before I play any more though (I only played an hour or so, before deciding to hold off).
