acer h5360 VGA blu-ray
thinking about buying this projector soon. I want something that will play both 3d games and 3d blu-ray.

I've seen a lot of mixed responses on forums and it seems you use a DVI -> VGA or DVI-D -> VGA for games..but is the issue finally fixed to decode and play blu-ray over VGA at 720p without having to get DLP-link glasses?

VGA on my 5360 is less then great image quality. You should use DVI to HDMI cable.
