Hi,
I have tried looking everywhere but i cant find out how to disable this stupid error message which enables when 3D is activated.
"Warning: Attempt to run stereoscopic 3D in non-stereo display mode, please change to a acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes"
my monitor is a Benq XL2420TE
Resolution is set to 1920 x 1080 @ 120Hz
The 3d is working but this message stays on the screen and only goes away when i turn the 3d off.

Try a different DVI cable, preferably the one that came with the monitor. If you're running games, setting them to 60hz seems to work just as well as 120 in my experience, so that might help too. I think it bumps it to 120 automatically anyway.

I am using the DVI-D cable that came with the monitor. The refresh rate isnt an issue its the error message which wont go away. When the 3D is turned on the error message comes up BUT THE 3D IS WORKING FINE

I understand, but if the game is trying to output 120fps in 2d mode and is then asked to go into 3d mode, it could be confusing things. Have you tried a clean reinstall of the drivers?
