no, u can use your 3dvision glasses with your mitsubishi 3dtv right now. you dont need 3dtv play. 3dtv play is only for the newer 3dtv models.
this is what i get under "window and cursor"
image stretch =100
image overscan = 0
soft interlacing = on
remap cursor= mode 1
clip cursor = on
force fullscreen res = on
force fullscreen window pos = off
force windowed mode = off
force repaint everyframe = never
back

thats all i get in that menu and changing any of it wont change the 3d mode. I also tryd selecting another samsung tv from the tridef properties menu to see if that enabled more options. but it was the same thing.

edit: i just noticed im runing an older version this is probably why i dont see this option. downloading latest now.
The option is "OUTPUT". Its between

soft interlacing = on
output = normal
remap cursor= mode 1

What are your display options?

i downloaded the latest version and i see the output option now. i dont see any difference between normal mode or top/bottom it look great on both settings to me but i think using normal uses full res and top bottom doesnt. i use UN55c8000

For me the 3D Pop-Out is better with top bottom, but the mouse need to be remapped somehow.
