Far Cry 4 {3D Screenshots}
This looks the same as the fog issue chtiblue reported, but the shaders at that part of the game should have already been fixed. Can you check if you still see the issue with this update?
The indoor shadows issue is still present at 2x MSAA, I've attached a screenshot. The outdoor mountain issue on no AA still remains as well, however I figured out it is caused by the 'Vegetation' graphics option. When that is set to High or Ultra the issue is present, but on Medium and lower it goes away. Strangely the issue is not present at any Vegetation setting when at 2x MSAA so that is weird, but hopefully a clue to the puzzle. (just to cover all the bases, my 'update' methodology was to delete the 'ShaderCache' folder and then overwrite all files from the new zip, hopefully I didn't miss anything)

Actually, what you want to do is use the 'uninstall.bat' that we carefully prepared for you, so that you can uninstall everything easily. 'uninstall.bat' will clean everything up, including both ShaderFixes and ShaderCache folders.

Latest update: https://s3.amazonaws.com/DarkStarSword/3Dfix-Far+Cry+4-alpha-0.7-2015-03-14.zip - Fixed various lighting issues (fog, shadows, environment reflections, specular highlights) with vegetation set to high/ultra (might still be some more to fix in some missions) - Fixed black bars flickering around certain lights on some settings - Improved accuracy of outdoor shadow fix, so distant shadows appear correct (minimised floating point error)
The indoor shadows issue is still present at 2x MSAA, I've attached a screenshot. I think I've got it mostly sorted now, but please let me know if you find anything else that is only broken on some settings.

Hey, how do I use the Far Cry 4 profile with StereoFlagsDX10 set to 0x00004000 instead of the Max Payne 3 profile? I couldn't find this option in Nvinspector. Thanks

I'm struggling with negative SLI scaling no matter which profile I try. Using FC4 profile with stereoflags fix seemed to give me just a black screen. Fix works great using Max Payne 3 profile but just get poor performance under SLI. Anyone have any SLI scaling success with the fix? I'm using 3Dtvplay.

With FC3 profile, I get about 30fps. With MP3 profile I get around the 60fps (vsync) but the moment I turn it plunges to 20. If I stop turning it goes back up to 60. Turn, fps plunge. Wierd. Fc4 with flags fix just gives me black screen. Maybe its 3DTvplay related ( never had issues with other titles, including other 3dmigoto fixes like AC4 or Modor).

I have Terrain effects set to low - they take a lot of power and deliver minimal visual effect (so i don`t need them anyway). Running on MP3 profile as well. Everything else is set on Ultra. Gtx 680 Sli on 1920x1080. Try to put everything on Low and start turning one effect at the time and see what is really affecting your performance. Also i`m running latest drivers 347.52

So I went out and bought another 970 for SLI today just so I can play this in higher settings, but I'm having a hell of time getting things working on higher settings. Things I've learned: 1) Using MP3 profile results in near perfect SLI scaling (don't need FC3 sli bits), both GPUs at 98%+. 2) I have to disable 3D as soon as the game starts, as when you 'press key to continue' and the game quickly minimizes it will never recover and just stays at black screen. Once at the main menu or in the game world you can re-enable 3D just fine. 3) Setting 'Terrain' to Medium is a must. Setting this any higher results in crushing FPS drops for no apparent reason. 4) Upping certain graphics settings will cause my computer to spontaneously reboot!!! So far 'Geometry' and 2xMSAA seem to cause this to happen. I will test more over time as I can but I've already caused my comp to reboot like 30-40 times in the past 3 hours. I'm just going to try playing for a while on settings I know work for now. For now it seems 'Textures' to Ultra and Shadows to 'soft shadows' works OK. I'm going to try to slowly up other settings over time. I tested all of the above with the various profile configs -- FC4 with StereoDX10Flags, null profile with fc3 bits, MP3 profile with FC3 bits -- with the same results across the board; have to disable 3D at start, upping certain settings causes spontaneous reboot. I am not wholly certain about SLI scaling in the other profiles as I didn't discover the Terrain to medium setting yet, so they may be viable too, but certainly MP3 vanilla profile seems to works well. (I tried playing BF4 for a while at 150% supersample with all settings maxed just to make sure SLI is working properly or that the reboots weren't being caused by a power draw issue, it played just fine with all 4 CPUs and both GPUs maxed. Also tried re-appyling the patch, verifying game files, and clean driver install)
