HOW TO BUY 3DTV PLAY IN AUSTRALIA !!---- Not good enough Nvidia!
Evidently, Nvidia is unaware of a nation called 'ASUTRALIA'- Allow me to provide a description of my nation which is apparently completely foreign to this so-called multi-national corporation. The Commonwealth of Australia,is a country comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania and numerous smaller islands. It is the world's sixth-largest country by total area. Neighbouring countries include Indonesia, East Timor and Papua New Guinea to the north; the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and New Caledonia to the north-east; and New Zealand to the south-east. For at least 40,000 years[12] before the first British settlement in the late 18th century,[13][14] Australia was inhabited by indigenous Australians,[15] who belonged to one or more of roughly 250 language groups.[16][17] After discovery by Dutch explorers in 1606, Australia's eastern half was claimed by Great Britain in 1770 and settled through penal transportation to the colony of New South Wales from 26 January 1788. The population grew steadily in subsequent decades; the continent was explored and an additional five self-governing Crown Colonies were established. Secondly, what possible reason could this company foresee not making its products available to Australia is beyond me. For past 2 hours I have spent trying to locate a means to purchase 3DTV PLAY- and I am still no closer to finding a solution. Your forum moderator suggested to a SWEDISH customer, also experiencing the same problem ( that is having their nation completely unaccounted for, in terms of service and product availability- who suggested visiting the UK STORE- this has prove fruitless also. I have a Sony HMZ T2 here- with no means of sourcing a 3D signal to it. Get your crap together- or expect backlash from the smaller markets, that are apparently so worthless to Nvidias bottom line as to not even exist !

I live in Australia. I bought my key via the UK site I believe which accepted Australia payment whereas U.S site did not. Try here http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/3dtv-play-buy-uk.html Press green "learn more" in "Add it to your current PC" box. Good luck!

Hey, Thanks for the reply, always good to hear from a fellow aussie. I do not usually rant- just nothing is more frustrating, when you itnentionally set out time aside, buy a few drinks,a game- you prep up thinking all is sorted- only to find something as stupid as a multinational not providing a way to purchase the full version, of a trial app. I tried the above link- but it just directs me to the 14 Day trial. now 12.29am. Since finished by ration of drinks for the week- nothing but hours of trying to squint through a sony HMZ- trying free proxy sites, rah rah....... You get the idea. I just find it hard to believe- Nvidia can overlook entire markets- I find it incredibly arrogant, for a company that is not as robust, as it would like to believe!.

If you're looking for a free proxy, try FlyVPN or HotSpotShield. I've used them both for many things and it's pretty good. Might allow you to make the purchase from a "US" location.

Its laughable and I went through the same problem. Someone on some board somewhere tipped me off about the U.K

I've made many a purchase with a fake billing address (I'm in Australia too). Haven't tried 3dtv play though. As long as they get my money, they don't really care. Perhaps you could paypal some money to a trustworthy member of this forum who could buy it on your behalf?

Its what I did.

I signed up just to post this. I was in the exact same position as you. I have the HMZT2 and could not find how to buy the playTV software. I am in Sydney. Anyway eventually I found it on the Indian nvidia site. I bought it. No problems. It is just not on the page where you get it on nvidia.com Its some obscure link somewhere. Dont give up. If I can remember I will post how.

Don't know if this will work but here is the link https://store.nvidia.com/store?Action=DisplayPage&Env=BASE&Locale=en_GB&SiteID=nvidia&id=QuickBuyCartPage Looks like the India site redirects to UK
