Hello,

I love your fixes for these games, they are almost perfect. Thank you.
Lets hope the mod-tools still work for Skyrim.

Please post again if you have a new fix ready, can't wait :>

Greetings

Thanks, I'll throw a fix up here and at rage3d if/when I am able to come up with one.

Hmmm, now that I think about it, wouldn't we want a 2D night sky anyway? If I recall, it was 2D in Oblivion but I could have sworn with pahncrd's sky fix pushing it up, it rendered correctly and didn't interfere with anything else in 3D.

Also, I was able to fix my water reflections issue in Oblivion by renaming the .exe to Fallout3.exe. Obviously being a steamworks game might not allow us to do this.

I'm curious about dynamics shadows in Skyrim. Does it render correctly? Anyway, I'll test it myself tomorrow... /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

If the game is like the others (modable and tweakable enabling the games to look great in 3D) could we spam the Elderscrolls webby thanking the devs for the continued customability of their games?

3D wish threads tend to get flamed but 3D cor-blimey your game looks great! threads are nearly always positive...

Know what I mean?

Thanks

Curious about this myself. If the shadows work well with 3d, that would be very impressive. I suppose that would mean the engine actually is rendering some form of simulated shadow in actual 3d, as opposed to a 2d trick ala Dead Island.

In the prerelease build I tried I didn't see any.

I will have to check out the official build tomorrow on Steam.

This is great news indeed :)

Pahncrd, do you have any theories why Bethesda does not make the sky correct for 3D from the get-go?

Because Bethseda doesn't give two ****s about 3D. Hope this runs in 3D surround also. That would be sweet.

At least they seem to take minimal shortcuts where 3d modelling is involved, unlike something like say Shogun or whatever. And they leave their game pretty open for modding and fixes for this kinda thing, so whether they care or not, at least they give us the tools to 'care' ourselves.

From what I heard from the lead dev guy, more or less, even though he knows jack and **** about gaming in 3d stereo, he has decided that it is stupid. Basically they just don't care because they are being willfully ignorant about the experiences that 3d vision can bring to the table.

To Andrew, or anyone else who might know.

Are there context sensetive cursors in the game same as previous ones? If there are, then that is a killer for 3D cause without those you won't know if you are going to steal something etc.

Very sad if this is the case, will prevent me from playing in 3D :(
