I think that is a BIOS setting;)
I remember I had the same issue... Can't remember what option I disabled/switched but now I don't have this issue (where previously even my keyboard would go to sleep :)) ) In any case it had to do with USB!
For reference and BIOS settings:

Hi helifax,
i've looked through every Setting in BIOS, but couldn't find anything what could explain that poweroff.
The USB Controller is the only USB device that is powering off and only with win 10. I've was running it with win 7 before and this never happend.
Someone have a idea why it's going to sleep?
I don't know if it is directly related, but I have had many issues with the power of my emitter in the last two years, but in my case the problem is that when I start the computer windows "usually" (not always) does not recognize the emitter and I have also to unplugg/plugg. I am not the only person with this problem, and sometimes (rare times) I have lost power once windows started. I have tested with different usb ports, 2.0 and 3.0, it doesn't matter. I do not have problems with any other usb devices.

Mine is doing this, too, but it isn't causing any issues. Once a 3D game pops up, the emitter turns back on.
