Ok - here is the driver. You broke me. Here it is.

I tried the BETA 82.12 combo with no luck. CS:S, CS 1.6, RS Lockdown, Brother's in Arms EIB all crashed. CS 1.6 as soon as I enabled 3D, the others lasted a few seconds then a complete lockup. Please note I am not complaining. I very much appreciated the opportunity to try the BETAs. Consider this more of a bug report.
System
DFI Lanparty UT nF4-D
AMD 64 X2 4600 (no oc)
BFG 7800GT (no oc)
Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty
Corsair XMS 2X1024 PC3200
*Edit* I did unistall the old drivers and I ran NFR several times before installing the 82.12s.

I have deinstall complete Drivers 78.01 and after a Reboot install the beta 82.12 + Stereo Drivers. I have startet GTA:SA and it works awsome. Very Nice 3D Effects and deep. I played for 3 Houres and no Crash!! No Ghostpictures from the Posteffects etc. Very Nice!
For all you will play SA in Stereo 3D: Enable AA4x, AF to max 4x (otherwise it will flicker), use the Camera Hack for SA and set the Motion Blur to off. I have found the Memory that SA use is not changeable. I have the Logitech G15 and see on the Performance Monitor the used RAM in the Game. Stream.ini Edit on Memory Options do nothing. SA will use only ca. 128MB of Memory. If you use Modded Models with high Polygons, the Rest of loading will fail or corrupt. Excus my bad English. /angel.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='O:)' />

I''m quite eager to try BF2 in proper stereo! At last!
I hope Nvidia will start releasing stereo beta''s in the future because all of us here probably know that there will be a lot of crashes, non working games etc. and still be very happy with the beta driver.

[quote name='Chopper' date='Feb 24 2006, 12:47 PM']One more thing - I just want to point out that when NVIDIA sent me the beta, they indicated that it was unstable, and there is ANOTHER beta - but it doesn't match with the driver on the NVIDIA website.

Chopper

Tested with IL2 FB + Pacific Fighters. Worst luck! Crash to Desktop directly when trying to activate inside game. It works when activated in the view objects menu, but not in game... I wonder if the not-so-beta version of driver will fix that, because until now the 3d support for this game has been worse and worse over worse...

So far, I'm not too happy with my testing. I set the stereo drivers to enable with hotkey, and started up world of warcraft. I could hear the audio, but the screen was black. I couldn't get out of it. had to reboot PC. Tried three times in a row. same each time. I disabled the drivers, and it started up just fine. I will test more to see what happens with different settings, but it's not looking good.

Use the Toggle by hotkey" option inctead of "Enable" in the stereo control pannel.
Intro videos and static main menus are not rendered in 3D usually, and they appear off-screen, giving a "black" screen output.
Enable stereo bt pressing ctl+T when in the game itself.

In-game, some items are now not rendered in 3D. For example, NONE of the chracters, yourself included, appear in 3D but 2D.
Further, some environmental objects are now 2D (i.e. the windmill portion of the buildings in Thunder Bluff).
