And you can see in the green text that says the profile actually kicks in, and in CM mode ?
The bottom right green text says:
This application is not rated by nvidia corp
press Ctrl+Alt+Insert to toggle this info.
pushing control+alt+f11 does nothing (and literally never has, for any game, ever).
I don't know if this is compatibility mode or not. I presume it is?
I mean, the main menu seems to work ok (albeit the shadows are messed up).
You have to find the right .exe file, it's located here: Styx - Shards of Darkness/Binaries/Win64/Styx2-Win64-Shipping
Now you can use ctrl+alt+F11 to shift between CM and real 3D.
Well, something is wrong on your end, the green text has to say Witcher 3 !
I asume you're familiar with this: http://helixmod.blogspot.dk/2013/03/how-to-change-3d-vision-profile-and.html
If yes, you might try to DDU the driver and reinstall it..

Yep. Had done that with the profiles.
I did a DDU and re-install and am back at the same place. ctrl-alt-f11 does nothing. Have enabled the shortcut keys. Even swapped ctrl-t and ctrl-alt-f11 to make sure I wasn't going insane.

Start it, text as above. Ctrl-alt-ins toggles text. ctrl-t enables/disables. ctrl-alt-f11 doesn't do anything.

Are you using the nVidia Inspector program ? Personally I've never used the default nVidia profile manager and I wouldn't trust it. Much better to use nVidia Inspector if you don't have it http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/nvidia-inspector-download.html
Make sure to click on the Author download link as it also includes the Profile Inspector. Not sure why the other link does not. I think it's a separate download on Guru3d.

I sure am. I just grabbed that screenshot to show the binary was attached to the right profile. Sorry, was pretty confusing in retrospect.
What about the green overlay text ?? does it say Witcher 3 now ??
Alas, no. Still the same as before.
Thank you both for letting me derail this thread, by the way. Any help is most welcome and gratefully received.
Hello guys,
I have try Witcher 3 profile and Max Payne 3 with Nvidia inspector. And... nothing!
3d vision doesn't open!
Have I miss something?
Can you help me please?
Thank
Eldameoi
Launch Nvidia Inspector with Administrator privileges, assign the Witcher 3 profile to the game, prior to starting it. Start the game, confirm that the overlay says "The Witcher 3", ctrl+alt+insert, toggle the overlay.
If the profile is not assigning try re-installing the drivers using DDU, Display Driver Uninstaller

Ok, first, I'm french and my English is approximative. Sorry...
I have do all what you say, with re-install of drivers AND game.
And nothing changes. The game runs good with all graphics, sounds and all that, but 3d vision doesn't start.
So I have deleted the folder who save the configs "...\AppData\Local\Styx2". Then, 3d vision starts with overlay saying "the witcher 3" and it disappears whit the start screen and 3d vision shutdowns.
With the next start, 3d vision doesn't start.
It's the fist game who does that.
What can I do?

Good night! :)
I'm digging on it!
The cm mode work fine, but I can't have the real 3D!
ctrl+alt+F11 only switch between two cm modes with differents shades!
It sounds much like the zinkfharn case!
Please help us! THANKS!

ctrl+alt+F11 only turns Compatibilty mode on or off.
There isn't two CM modes, when you turn it off, it's real 3D that is broken/messed up.
When you restart the game, try ctrl+t to initiate the stereoscopic drivers. If they are not engaging, make sure that you are using Fullscreen and/or the correct resolution and refresh rate.
This is assuming that the game is still associated to the correct profile.
