Hey ya'll my problem im having is when i try to watch movie on my pc using powerdvd 13 and my Nvidia emitter+ glasses. the movies play and everything but none of the images ever really look like they are popping out of the screen at me, more like hovering a half inch inside screen lol.
I do have my drivers up to date. How sure what problem is or how to even go about fixing this one the 3D vision wizard thing says it all good to go. Someone help me if you can please! ~Edgycard~

There's a slider that looks like a rectangle on one end and a box on the other. Slide that and you should find a setting that gives great depth + decent pop out.
Unless you're using the 2D to 3D conversion feature..

You fool! That's when its 2d to 3d conversion, not native 3D!
Op try driver 323.27. All the other drivers don't work to well with 3D.
Apparently no-one at nvidia has noticed!
They have been too busy counting their money or something!
See if it improves your 3d playback!

No it's when using 3D Blu Rays, etc. The depth looks as good as any game, but with low convergence.
The 2D to 3D conversion is crap for depth (but adjusts with the slider also).
Ugh, I realize it's using it's own software to increase the depth, but it's adding to the existing 3D, and it doesn't look like "fake 3D" at all. It goes WAY further back than a half inch into the screen (as the OP said). It also gets decent pop out once you have it adjusted.
From here if you're going to keep arguing, it's just semantics, so I'm done. Hopefully my answer helped out if he wasn't aware of the slider, since I watched my first movie not realizing it's potential (sometimes you have to adjust it to the middle, seems different for different movies), and feeling the 3D was lack luster. Once I adjusted the slider I was more than happy.

The depth slider is most likely just pushing the fixed depth/convergence deeper into the screen ... which would also kill any popout, if anything in this case maybe lowering the depth would actually give you better popout ...

I'd love to see some before and afters ... if what you say is true I'd consider dropping some money on it, if I could actually get better depth AND better popout ... not sure how it's possible though.

The movies are definitely more "flat" on both sides when the slider's off. At the right setting I had good depth, and the dirt in the storm scene from Prometheus seemed to be a few inches out of the screen.

Unfortunately I'm 3D'less till I have a replacement monitor (don't ask), and with the ROG Swift out there I'm looking at saving up for that.
First poster may be able to provide, or at least report back results.
There's a 30 day trial, but looks like they gimped the 3D playback. My results were with PowerDVD 13, btw. They're on 14 now, but if the original poster has something earlier, not sure he'll get the results I was getting.

TsaebehT dont bother, the slider does something weird to the image, causes discomfort and degreases 3d quality by a huge margin. Basically it makes ANY 3d film look like a bad conversion, depth looks so artificial. Thats why i also think its only for 2d to 3d conversion. Im also really mad at the slider, it doesnt have any clear center position so i had to reinstall the whole program after testing the slider :D Its possible to reset it to "zero position" via regedit too but didnt know it back then.

Buy and play Madagascar 3.
If you do not get any pop outs during the movie, you need to change the reported screen size in your registry or adjust your seating distance.

Try a different movie.

The slider will be at default!
