91.28 stereo driver feedback lets help Nvidia to make a better stereo
thx for info - perhaps it´s my 6800 gt?
Have you activated the incar-view with wheel and driver? If i activate this, the flickering went up and game isn´t playable anymore. Without wheel and driver the flickering will be better, but still not playable...
The remainding gfx-options in gtl hasn´t an affect on flickering.

Interesting.
I'm using in-car view but I used to have the driver and wheel off. I've got one of each already IRL :)
The 6800gt is almost in par with my card (it's the agp version!) I think, so it should be able to output pretty decent frame rates...
btw I'm using dx9 mode. If you want to try to get a better frame rate, try dx8 or even dx7 mode, it may help. With the 6600gt I had before it was a necessity to get near-decent framerates.

I just noticed that when I switch to my projector which is connected digitally, the picture looks absolutely horrible!
My Benq PE5120 projector has a native resolution of 854x480 and I set my resolution at 1280x720 in windows so the picture stays 16x9.
The problem is that the projector thinks it is getting a 1920x1080 signal at 32 bit with heavy flickering, and with less flickering at 16 bit but also HD.
Like I said the picture looks horrible as if the resolution has cut by half.
Now I'm forced to use the stable driver 78.01 which do work and have stereo, of course Battlefield 2 has the bugs ...
The next problem is that a couple days ago I ordered a new 7900 GT card which will only work with the latest stable nVidia drivers, version 84.21. That driver is fine but of course i will not have stereo 3d anymore.

Unfortunately I can't speak about 7800gt's, but prior to upgrading to two 7800gtx's in SLI 6 months ago, my single 6800ultra worked just fine in 3d stereo with all the games that were available at that time. In essence, for the last 8 months anybody with an SLI setup regardless of what card is used, could basically just forget about ever getting 3d stereo working as it used to do so well on their older systems. I for one, am incredibly disappointed that 3d stereo has been so badly neglected, considering the amount of hard earned cash end-users like us have to invest in such a setup. But then what's new...
As expected, GTR, GTL and FarCry froze solid. Quake 4 looks decidedly odd. Haven't tried Oblivion yet, though I don't hold out much hope for that one either.
It's the older games that seem to work as they should. Nascar Heat runs as it used to do. Ultima V: Lazarus which uses the original Dungeon Siege engine looks fantastic in three dimensions. Not as nearly good as FarCry did mind you, but it's not at all bad. Actual working games in 3d seem to be decidedly thin on the ground.
Alright so this is just a beta driver, albeit released anonymously, and I'm at least grateful for that. Though Nvidia may well provide better 3d stereo software back-up than ATI, nevertheless this is nowhere near good enough guys, nowhere near.
I'd be very curious to know if anybody from Nvidia..actually reads these boards.
Anybody know how to run Stereo with IL-2 or Pacific Fighters using 91.28 combo?.
Using directx does nothing, and using opengl gives me a flickering screen without stereo.
[post="93119"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
Sorry to point things that likely you have done already, but it sounds to me like when installed without a total cleaning, I mena, with only a unisntall and dirver cleaner pass...I alway re-install whole OS when testing new drivers...

If I can add to the GTL discussion: it hangs on me if I have the TeamSpeak on.
Go figure.
Maybe it's not so much a stereo problem as a GTL problem that it hangs?
Try some other games as well. Try the stereo testing app first, see if it works at all IMHO.
good luck
Quest continues. GTL should work? It should at least not hang?
I tried disabling all antialiasing. I tried disabling SLI. I tried running in DX 8 mode. It still hangs as soon as I activate stereo3d.
Some questions. Does anyone here with an 7800 GT got stereo3d working. And again in what games?
Prio 1 is get it working prio 2 getting it to work in SLI. Test program works fine both in SLI and not...

I heard that WOW is supposed to run fine with this stereo driver... but when I load it up the characters, mobs and any weapon glow effects are all messed up. Any suggestions?

I'm guessing that hitman 3 works for you because your videocard is unable to display post-processing effects, however I have personally tested the game with a 5900xt an a 6800gt card and in both cases I can't get the game to run in true stereo, I get only one image.

It has no sense to make this database list. Nvidia drivers usually make good things and bad things with new releases. Seem that they can´t solve problems without create new ones... they solve a problem with a graphic card model and they make a new problem for others models. They solve a problem with a game, and other games working good in the past now doesn´t work.
