Cant Get 3d Stereo to Work New Here & To This
(!) Well Hi and thanks for coming here, let me just try KISS (keeping it short & simple)

just found out about this today and downloaded the driver from here
NVIDIA 3D Stereo

and downloaded

GeForce 3D Stereo Driver

Version: 174.76
Release Date: March 28, 2008
Operating System: Windows Vista 32-bit

however im having problems trying to run it, tried it a bit on Halo Combat Evolved, messed around with the buttons, and i have not seen any changes

I'm currently installing Age of Empires III as i have seen a video here with people saying talking about 3d stereo and giving age of empire III as an example so my belief is it should definetly work for that...Video of Guy Working 4 NVIDIA explaining 3D Stereo

However, even if that works, I did do some research but I would still need some help with the controls because I am not sure how to even start playing a game in 3D, have some hunches but not sure

INFO: some quick stuff.... Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit OS, Processor: Genuine Intel® CPU T2600 @ 2.16GHz 2.17GHz, RAM 2046MB, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM)

HP Pavilion dv8000 Laptop -1440 X 900-, looking to upgrade Ram and Video Card within 1 to 2 months

Questions: I do have another HP monitor (HP f1905) at 19" 1280 X 1024 which i always keep connected cause 2 monitors better than one, so my Q is, does it have to be one of those specials new screens or does this work with Anaglyph?
Can a Laptop Graphics Card like mine handle it/work?

Background:
just formated my hard drive a few days ago so i didnt have any new games to try and this one was fast to install and gave it a go

P.S. Just need some basic info about that, read some articles and tried to do some research but the way i see it, is even if it works for some guy well my specs are totally different so im not sure at all

if anyone can help me i would apreciate it alot, my plan is to keep buying NVIDIA as in my opinion seems to be great

THX for taking the time to read this (some/all) and Good Luck

Hi

With LCD monitors like Yours You can get red/blue (anaglyph) 3D if You install the iZ3D driver from http://www.iz3d.com/t-dcdriver.aspx.
I think (not sure) it work with laptops.

If You want better 3D there are some special 3D LCD monitors from iZ3D and Zalman, some Head Mounted Displays from Wuzix and TDVision or some 3D HD DLP TV's from Samsung or Mitsubitsi - see here: http://www.3d.wep.dk or http://www.mtbs3d.com for more info.

There's a video on how to install the iZ3D driver on Win XP (should be fairly similar on Vista) here: http://www.3d.wep.dk/quick.html

In the old days You only needed a CRT monitor, some glasses like this: http://www.edimensional.com/ and a Nvidia graphics card, but not anymore.
The different options to get 3D in games is: http://www.3d.wep.dk/how1.html
It is somewhat confusing /whistling.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistling:' /> to be honest.

I checked out all your links, however i found the most help to be "install the iZ3D driver" and "ere's a video on how to install the iZ3D driver on Win XP (should be fairly similar on Vista) here: http://www.3d.wep.dk/quick.html"

*Note: This 1.08 Beta is build 1.07.0027

iZ3D Standard Release Drivers

* iZ3D Driver 1.07(29 Jan 2008)
*Note: This is an older version, please try the iZ3D Driver 1.08 Beta First.
worked better

One Last Time Thank You Very Much for the Quick Response and amazing help, never would have thought that the first person to post would have also had my answer....especially after my friends always compain how much HELP forums suck and never help you out....
