Here's some screens of Doom 3 on an EVGA P55 FTW SLI, I5 655K @ 3.6 Ghz, and an Nvidia 7900 GTX. Wish 3D vision could do this...
I have to two 7900 GTX's that I'd like to put in SLI, but these 91.31 drivers don't recgonize that my EVGA P55 SLI is a certified SLI motherboard. Bummer...
Screen shots are at 1768 x 992, Ultra Settings, 4X anti-aliasing and on a Mitsu DLP checkerboard format.

BTW novint falcon is said to be the best with this game . :([/quote]
No. It actually runs pretty damn good. There are a few places it dips dow in the 20's, but it's very playable. I'd like to run it in SLI but I can't enable multi-gpu with the 91.31 drivers, says my motherboard isn't compatible (It is). It must be looking for an Nforce board.

Yes I'm using a pair of Xpand 102 DLP link glasses. I have literally NO ghosting.

Well I must say I'm having a ball playing Doom 3 in Opengl 3D stereo, I found a better driver that boosted my fps. It's unbelivably sad that 3D vision does not currently support Opengl. I think I'm going to play the Idtech 4 games for a while in 3D until I see 3D vision get some Quad SLI drivers implemented correctly.

Prey is also a very decent game in 3d. I don't know but i don't think i made q4 going though.
Good news for me as well: I just managed to get a used but functional 7900gtx to replace the 7900gt that died on me. I'm going to underclock it to extend lifetime as much as possible. lol

Likay,
You'll like that 7900 GTX alot better than your 7900 GT. If you underclock it, I wouldn't much, and you might want to consider boosting the default 2D clocks up a little higher with Nibitor and Nvflash. Mine was defaulted at 275 Mhz in 2D (which I thought was a little odd) and I was having some issues with it on the desktop. I boosted it up to 400 and it was great. 650 Mhz is default for 3D (not stereo) performance and anything above that doesn't seem to give you much more horse power in 3D.
I'm using 94.24 combo and I feel good about that combo. I have Prey working nice and Quake 4. 94.24 gives me a little better framerates in 3D than 91.31 combo.
Only issue is that in Aliens vs Predator 2, I get flashing textures on the first person pulse rifle. It's really annoying. Any ideas on that?
It's funny these games look as good on my DLP as my VERY VERY expensive 3D vision rig.
I wish I could get these 7900 GTX's in SLI. I used a modified 85.96 that gave me SLI but it didn't have a corresponding 3D stereo driver (tried 82.12 stereo) but the driver wasn't very good, would crash AvP Classic 2000 regardless if you have 1 core or 2 cpu cores active (you gotta use 1 cpu core for this AvP Classic 2000). And overall performance in Stereo was poor. Now the driver in non-stereo with SLI was very fast.

Great tips! Didn't know the 2d-clock was set that low. The reason to underclock the card in 3d-mode is simply extending the lifetime. I think i contributed a bit to the death of the gt by overclockin it. There are tons of oldies that are awesome in 3d as well! Would love to play those with upgraded hardware but for now it's imposible. Gonna try q4 with 94.24 too. Thanks!

I was really looking forward to playing that old opengl game. I wonder if a different driver would work.
