Hi all i have 2x GTX 260 SLI when i play Avatar without 3d i get about 80fps all maxed out but when i turn on 3d vision my fps drop to about 20fps and the SLI visual indicator bar closes up from almost full to practically nothing, any ideas?

Is this SLI indicator actually zero or just really low?

In avatar game when in 3D mode SLI is disabling (SLI bars are zero) , and if 3D is not on SLI bars are moving. Is there any solution or we have to wait for a driver update?

Can anyone who is having issues with Avatar in SLI try turning off 3D Vision? Make sure you toggle the option "Enable stereoscopic 3D" to force it off. Then try running Avatar in 2D SLI mode. Lets see if there is a bug with general SLI profiles or not.
It is problem only with stereoscopic profile.
For me SLI is working in DX9 and DX10.
Stereoscopic sli is working only for me in DX9.
I have GTX295. I have reported problem long time ago on your feedback site.
Hi
Can you list for me your Avatar's frames per second with DX9 or DX10 with 3D Vision off?
I started the game and there is new update so after it is installed I provide numbers.
I am installing the game today, finally but just checking, have you guys tried turning off the nvidia crosshair thingy...that things seems to create issues with some games, for example, my HL2 modified with the CinematicMod10 was ultra slow and turning that thing off made it butter smooth.

There is no nvidia laser sight, it is not even possible to activate it. There is good native stereoscopic crosshair.
However I tried some games and I can not conclude that nvidia laser sight has any influence on performance.

stereo disabled in control panel and game,
dx9 - 42 fps
dx10 - 50 fps
I dont quite understand your data, so let me try to represent what I want.
Data 1
- Leave SLI enabled
- Uncheck the checkbox "Enable Stereoscopic 3D" from the Steroscopic 3D control panel. This turns 3D Vision off.
- Please give me your DX9 and DX10 FPS
Data 2
- Leave SLI enabled
- Check the checkbox "Enable Stereoscopic 3D" from the Steroscopic 3D control panel. This turns 3D Vision On.
- Do NOT toggle CTRl-T at all turning your tests.
- Please give me your DX9 and DX10 FPS

Avatar's crosshair is already in 3D, there is no override needed.

I used in data 2 ctrl-t to see what is non stereo fps, so I am not sure how or if it could disfigure results.
However in dx10 there is massive degradation, something like 70 percent whereas in dx9 stereo fps is 1/2 of normal fps so dx9 is much more faster. In dx10 result in stereo is almost as having multi-gpu disabled.
Used scene was rather heavy with distant view so low fps.
