im not in on the 3d fun times but i had been waiting for this game for a while.

the steam servers seem to be straining a bit due to loads of people downloading it.

it seems to have kept a lot from the orriginal which was a ut04 mod, and as it is in the source engine i imagine if 3d doesnt work now, it wont be long before it is sorted!

happy gaming guys

Im d/ling it now. I'm always up for some co-op fun.

Quick question, for anyone who may know, are you able to play multiplayer on 1 pc/screen, gauntlet-style, or do you have to be on separate computers? On one hand i hope it has that old-school co-op style, but on the other hand i only have 1 pair of glasses so i'd have to play it 2D if thats teh case... would be good to have the option anyway.

Works pretty good in 3D. However, this is definitely not as good as Alien Breed. The price is right though.

Looks good to me too, played for about an hour last night and didn't see any problem with 3D. I'll give it some more time tonight, could be a really fun team game and yea, it's completely free.

I played for about 1.5 hours, in 3D, last night. 3D is perfect, but as someone before me said, while this is a fun mutliplayer game, it's nothing close to Alien Breed's single player.

I really like Valve as a company!

I bought L4D 1 and 2 a couple of weeks ago, emailed them about the 3D issues and they emailed me back to get more info and to say they were working on it. Within hours the engineer dude found a solution to the torch bug (which is inherent in all source games including HL2) and reassured me they were now looking into a fix for the water. I think they were genuinely unaware of the issues.

There are always going to be frustrating moments but my impression is that they really try to keep gamers happy.

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

This game's amazing in 3D! Already reached the level cap of 27 /woot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':woot:' />
Strong teamwork, class based focus. Best free game ever, I heart valve.

I really wish it wasnt so short, only 8 small levels isn't enough. But I guess I cant complain because its free!

What I want to know is, how do they plan on expanding the game? Level packs for free or paid DLC? Hopefully free campaigns since its Valve.
