347.25 WHQL released today
  2 / 2
Can someone please check Trine 2 3d performance with these drivers and see if game it still runs at 30fps like the last few driver releases instead of 60fps. This is my measure if drivers are good for 3d as most games run slower with last few releases since 338.77 and Trine 2 is the easiest to test. Thanks in advance!

Even if you switch that off in game menu or set to 60 that still will remain at 30fps.

Nvidia needs to reoptimize their 3d vision driver asap.

Other then that you definitely will get fps improvement in new games since they always try to optimize drivers after game release. Recent example Far Cry 4, Shadow of Mordor which perform bad on older drivers version.

I'm asking because mine is 60 while in game with the 3d driver loaded but when I toggle 3d on it immediately jumps down to 30 while in game. Also, for those of you that use Line-Interleaved or Side by Side, the framerate is not impacted. I get 100 fps in 3D when using the native 3d outputs and disable 3D vision auto detect. This means the 3dvision api is bugged in this game.

So, Is it worth updating to this? Is there any need? Thanks!
So,

Is it worth updating to this?

Is there any need?

Thanks!

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
So, Is it worth updating to this? Is there any need? Thanks!
YES. It is;) For me is one of the most stable drivers yet;)) Still need to test Shadow of Mordor in 3D Surround and see if it still crashes on boot like with prev 2-3 versions;)) Edit: Sadly Shadow of Mordor still crashes the moment you enable 3D Vision even in single screen. Last good driver is 344.48 on which it works:(....sigh...

Does this have any issues with the shaders not loading properly too?

Not sure but may have to do the 'NVIDIA Drivers' section of the fix over again after a Driver install, as it may overwrite some of the settings.
III. Nvidia Drivers - Go to http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/ and get the latest version of DDU. - Run it and completely PURGE the system of nvidia drivers. (Use option 1. The PC will go to SAFE-MODE and uninstall from there). - Once the above is done restart in normal mode. - Get the latest Beta Drivers 347.09 and run the wizard - DO NOT INSTALL GEFORCE EXPERIENCE - If want to use and optimize the game(s) with Geforce Experience install it, optimize the game and then UNINSTALL IT! Failing to do so will result in DirectX Errors. - Open NVPANEL -> Manage 3D Settings -> Program Settings and select the game. Use these settings: - Max pre-rendered frames: 3 - Power Mngmt : Maximum performance - Shader Cache: OFF - Rest leave default.
Lately I never had the problem with the 347.09 drivers loading the incorrect shaders. I didn't notice this problem on the 347.25 drivers either...so it might be the problem was solved or...it might be that I didn't trigger/see it... hard to tell:-s

Has anyone had issues with Alien Isolation 3Dmigoto fix with this 347.25 driver? They introduced CM mode and my AI just crashes when trying to enter game.
