Hey Guys,
I recently had my Acer Projectors die and I managed to get a Optoma HD142X working in 3D with a Optoma GT720 EDID from the 3D vision blog site..
Now my problem is that the Native Resolution of the GT720 is 1280 x 800 @ 60hz, now what happens is it sets this on the Projector even tho I set the ingame resolution to the proper Rez and 3D does not work at 60hz as some games like Conan have been set to this because it chooses the Projectors native res or something..
I did try changing the GT720 EDID's Native Resolution to the HD142x Projectors native res which is 1280 x 720 @120hz with CRU but some games had really bad ghosting??
I was wondering what I could do about this to get it corrected so I do not get the ghosting.. I don't understand why setting the Native Res with CRU made me have so much Ghosting ingame??

never mind I figured it out.. I needed to set the native to 1280 x 720 @ 60Hz.. then I can set the resolution in NCP and it works now..
I was having issues with WoW..
Well I spoke too soonm. It seems now Conan Exiles is all wierded out and it is a pink screen with one eye effect with the main menu in one eye..
This is too weird but WoW works fine now.. I do not get this. but I will try DCS World
You can esily do this using monitor asset manager.
Save either an Inf or report of the OPtoma's EDID.
Open it and copy the native resolution.
example: my native preferred is "2560x1440" 241.500 2560 2608 2640 2720 1440 1443 1448 1481 +hsync -vsync
Using Monitor Asset Manager open the inf that you are using for an override, once open choose "file" then "edit"
Now simply paste the native resolution that you copied previously, in place of the one that is showing.
Save the edited EDID as an inf and you are good to go
I did as instructed but when I use the new EDID Conan Exiles had a weird pinkish screen, DCS World seemed OK as did Wow??
Not sure what to do but right now it seems to just work fine so I think I will stop messing around before I break something..
Thank you for the info D-Man..
Well I set the Dynamic range to limited and it seemed to have fixed the problem.. I also turned OFF Vesa Frams Sequential Mode on the Projector seems it is not needed either..
Thank you again D-Man11 ;)

You can compare your inf, to the override inf and make changes using an EDID Editor.
Like if the RGB, Gamma, White Point or Chromaticity values are way off, though they should be somewhat close.
