The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

I noticed (on HelixBlog) a couple of people are claiming they can play the game under Windows 10 using 355.60 drivers (or newer)... Can anyone here say that indeed they can run the game on Windows 10 with driver 355.60+ in PROPER 3D Vision (not Compat Mode) ? If so can you please specify your hardware configuration? Thx;))

I can confirm I couldn't get it working under 355.60. But I just followed the blog instructions and wasn't worried by it, as Win10 is only on my testing drive.

Hi Guys, So - I seem to be having an issue. Here's the story: I had driver 352.86 installed and played in Compat mode with the nVidia profile posted here back when the game went live. I would get the occasional CTD, but I could just restart the game and all was well. Recently, I thought I would give the proper fix a go, so I downloaded and installed per the instructions. (I didn't perform the profile swap again) When I ran the game and switched to true 3D, the shadows were borked / unplayable. So I thought perhaps I should've done the profile swap in case there was differences from the earlier one in the thread, therefore I did the profile swap with the one on the page the fix is located (helixmod site). Still no change. So, I thought I would upgrade to 353.06 since that driver is on the list of acceptable ones noted on the download site for the fix. I performed a clean install (not upgrade) of said driver, then redid the profile fix, then reinstalled the fix, and ran the game. Shadows still broken, and now on top of that, there was a strange flicker every approx 5 to 10 seconds... I don't know how to describe the flicker other than visually it was like banging on an old CRT Television and having the picture distort for a split second. Switching over to compat mode stopped the flickers. Not only this, but the CTDs I used to get had now upgraded themselves to full fledged "allow me to reboot your PC for you". So I then went back to 352.86 (clean install), profile fix, 3D fix, all over again - same issues - occasional flicker, mandatory unwelcome reboots. I uninstalled the 3D fix and now the flicker doesn't happen (compat mode or broken 3D mode) but still plagued with the reboots which I'd gladly swap for CTDs. So basically after switching drivers and whatnot I cannot even play due to reboots. I don't know why the fix didn't work for me (I did follow all instructions and I've installed tons of fixes before & am pretty computer saavy so I am confident I did everything properly) and I don't know why now all of a sudden I get reboots instead of crashes. If anyone has any ideas how I can go about fixing this situation or need any more information I can provide I'd be most grateful; I would like to finish this massive game some day (preferrably in 3D but if I could at the least get compat mode going again even that would be OK) Many thanks edit: I see my sig doesn't have OS - I am on Win7 x64

Well I had already finished the game - then was on vacation and so on and now wanted to start a new game + (also in hope of fixes by patches). It is just that I experience a few bugs (I didn't have till 1.06 and fix till 0.06). TWWH 1.08.4 (Gog), 1.0 fix from blog, win7, single-gtx 980 with 353.06 and 355.82 - Entering caves or water the HUD disappears - okay well after new driver I thought I could test the included profile (as I read some got it working with clean profile on 355.82 but that was win10) - guess I still have to change it. - At most loading scenes the right eye produces heavy flickering (there is none with 3D off) - Sometimes 3D renders wrong but F11 or Alt+Tab or Window Mode and back or restart helps, and it's kinda rare compared to: - CTD - I get them often. Mostly during cut-scenes (where in between no saving is done so I can play from last save - and quite often there is no autosave when entering a cut-scene, anyway:). I discovered that it's less likely (or may even didn't happen yet?) to crash if I turn of 3D entering a cut-scene. But they also happen during gameplay, yet quite rare - it's typically after some loading. - I have some kind of micro-stutter every 1-5sec - quite disturbing. It might not be related to 3D - meaning I didn't test the game with 3D completely off (and fix removed?) yet - cause u know - 2D is even more disturbing than stuttering ^^. I might test this soon, still I thought to ask if somebody knows this (and probably a solution).
