FOR NVIDIA SUPPORT: 3D VISION FLICKERING ISSUE Please help us fix this problem.

I have no flickering at all with the 260 drivers...
But there is still an issue in nVIDIA's medusa demo. The sound gets totally out of sync at the end of the demo loop (esp. when the warrior knocks over a dead one or hits the snake the sound will be played about 2 seconds too late).
Greetings
Geoffrey

This may sound daft but the people who have flickering issues, do you have the IR transmitter on the righthand side of the monitor, if you do put it on the lefthand side.
Stop all the flickering and sync issues I was having long before the release of the new drivers...

Just wanted to offer my experiences: I get no flickering in Fallout 3 or New Vegas.. None at all! Whereas Divinity 2 goes out of sync once or twice every 15 minutes.

The flickering issue caused by your fluorescent lamp which at 50~60Hz, your Nvidia shutter glasses is at 60Hz by default. The glasses and the lamp are at different frequency and not in sync at all.
The solution will be:
1. Turn off your light and try again.
2. Use incandescent for instead.
3. set shutter glasses frequency to 50Hz or 55Hz in NVCPL can reduce the flickering under fluorescent lamp.

Hi,

I've bought a 3D Vision kit, along with 2 more pair of glasses...

Bought also an Acer H5360 projector.

After connecting all things together, along with a Q6600, Geforce GT430, 3GB DDR2, mainboard Asus P5QD Turbo, i've noticed that all glasses were flickering, looks like the glasses loose polarisation or some kind of syncronization.. don't know..

Well, after a few tests, breaking my head all around and some nights without sleeping, changing all hardware for complete, like, motherboard, graphics, power supply, everything beyond imaginable, i've come to a conclusion.

When the room got some source of light, no matter where, from behind, left, right or front, everything goes fine, the glasses and 3D works flawlessly..

If the room got completly dark, the glasses will loose polarisation or syncronization and, the image will be completly unwatchable.. flickering out for complete.

Is the IR transmiter malfunctioning?

Please advise, i'm completly lost and, if there is no positive asnwer, i will mark this as defective and return it to the seller.

Thx in advance.

Hello mate

WHich drivers are you using?

Also make sure the IR wassname is more than 2 feet away.

Set the gaming environment to multiple IR sources

I had a problem with zooming in and out. I did two things:

a) I changed the 3d monitor cable into main monitor cable spot in pc (I think this did it)
b) I downloaded the latest drivers as well.

Now it all works like a dream :D
