2x 480 or 2x580 in sli are both faster then one single 590...
That depends...on how much you want to overclock the 590. I've seen some crazy overclocks....and custom built cooling devices for the card.... a GTX590 can perform (practically) as 2 GTX 580 @ stock... if you want to void the warranty and put like 5kg of copper on the card for cooling:))
Anyway, nVidia sold the GTX 590 as the fastest "single" card:) which is true

Right, and it's significantly faster than the single GPUs. /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Just got a second GTX 570 for SLI, thought I would activate 3D Vision for The Witcher 2...
Where I got 50 fps at high, I get 20 fps at medium with 3D Vision ... :(
Are we expecting a fix of some kind?
Would a X6 cpu make things run faster than my X4?

24 pages? Jesus. Some help you are. You could have answered with as many characters as you have and the answer would have been worthwhile.

For some people proving a pointless point is more important than helping someone out.
Someone asked why aren't Nvidia informing us that they are working on a fix... Well they already did in the latest drivers notes and FAQ:
Maybe some people believe that using your brain is sometimes better than asking out of laziness.
Ctrl-F, "SLI", 24 clicks to change the page, 24 clicks to search in each page.
Doesn't seem an exhausting task to me.
Oh, wait, even better: google, site:nvidia/the witcher 2's thread, "SLI". 1 click. Woo-hoo. You could probably sprain your wrist from all that typing.

If your on forums enough to get annoyed and to moan about duplicate posts or people asking questions that where asked a number of days/weeks ago then you really do have too much time on your hands.
With all the effort you have used with your post you could have just as easily helped the guy out... If you have nothing nice to say, don't bother saying anything at all. Manners that I teach to my kids...

Said the man who criticized Pancake Master. If this is how you apply your own teachings, I really don't want to know your kids.
Dude, don't bring people's kids into this. That's uncalled for and a surefire way to piss someone right off.
We all want 3D Vision to be fixed,
We all want nvidia/CDPR to at least announce a fix date,
Yes, it sucks. Hell, I've already finished the damn game on hard, and I feel a little jipped that I had to do it in 2D.

It's been 24 days already and the state of the drivers is following: General performance issues, SLI is broken, 3D Vision is broken.
Basically nothing works like it should, and this is Nvidia's TWIMTBP title. Can't blame people being angry @ Nvidia.
