Will try some more tonight, maybe the 720/59 trick in desktop will do it, because I notice that the 3DTV display does not change mode. Usually when starting a 3D game the displays goes black and back again and the 3DTV OSD reports "3D signal detected" but with the wrapper nothing is displayed and the game starts in side by side.
I have no idea, my friend:( Really, no idea!
Everyone so far said that the wrapper works with 3DTVPlay (since I am using NVAPI internally and that is part of the Nvidia Driver). So, unless nvidia introduced a bug in the drivers, I don't know... Then again, D-Man11 reported that it works on 3DTVplay...
Are you using and EDID override or something? Can you you try it on a 3D TV ?
Don't really know, I have it working on 4 PCs here (but all of them are 3D Vision Ready PCs)...
You also mentioned that in 3D Discover (Anaglyph) it works correctly... PROOF that the wrapper and the fix works perfectly fine...
So, don't really know what is happening there....
Since DX games work fine with 3DTV play your wrapper is doing something different than the native code, for me and richydemars at least. We just need to figure out what that difference is. :D
Sorry, I only have one 3DTV and that is my Sony HMZ-T1. Nope, no EDID hacks or such, did try to add a resultion @120hz using CRU but removed that. The reason you guys need to run at 120hz is because you get half the the framerate because of shutter glasses. I get 60hz for each eyes since the images are displayed at the same time for each eye

Ok,
Question: Can you make the "NVIDIA 3D VIsion Video Player" or the "Nvidia Photo Viewer" work with 3DTVPlay and your setup?
They are standard programs. If they work the wrapper will work too. If they don't they will not.
And the wrapper DOES USE NATIVE CODE. I've said that in the last posts... Depends what you understand by native;) It's C/C++ so is always Native Code... It uses the nvidia 3D drivers, so is native driver support as well;)
I think the problem is somewhere else in there but I can't figure out where and what exactly:(

I just ment that native game support (Not native code) just works, fire up any DX game and 3D kicks in (Some games require Helixmod to look good, but thats a different story).
I will try those applications, doubt they should not work wince they are Nvidia progrmas. Wil try right away

Tried the photo viewer with a JPS i downloaded. CTRl+D (Stereo view (Winowed)) does nothing. Ctr+V (Stereo view (Fullscreen)) goes full screen, shows the good old "3D signal detected" on HMD and switches to 3D.

There you have it... Unless you make those apps always work the wrapper will not work.. Like I said..Something with your setup...
Oh and by the way... there is no "native game support"... If you are interested, learn about what the nvidia drivers do exactly and then come and talk about "native game support" ;))
Like I said, if you can't run the Photo viewer (in windowed mode) you can't use the wrapper as IS THE EXACT SAME CODE THAT IS RUNNING IN THE NVIDIA DRIVER!!!!!
Make sure you don't have 3D to run only when in FULLSCREEN but when "a 3D Application run" from Nvidia Control Panel...
You really need to do some testing on your own and figure out what is different on your setup from the rest of us... as this is the case!

It wont show in anaglyph on regular screen either. At work now will check later, never seen a checkbox for only 3d in fullscreen mode how ever.
edit: I think you know what I mean when I say native game support. ;) (And I do not talk about DX11.1 native support, just to clear that out)
I'm on the line with nvidia Support now, keeping my fingers crossed. A quick question, is it possible to get the wrapper to mimic the activation of fullscreen apps? SInce that work I mean

To add....3DTV Play always need Fullscreen to run in 3D....i also Can't view in 3D in windows mode using photo viewer, always need to run in fullscreen.
I think this issue is related to fullscreen....the engine don't engage in to fullscreen, that's why you see a SBS image. When i start this game normally (without enable in the exe the "run as an administrator) i also have a SBS image, and i can't use the nvidia shortcuts.

I always right click and "run as admin" no dice, still side by side, cant see any window borders or such but since the display do not flicker like it does when going fullscreen I think you are right. I have tried all the combos in the config when it comes to full/window screen too.

There is a bug in the Nvidia driver related to DirectX-> OpenGL interoperability layer and Windows 7:
- If you create the DirectX context as Fullscreen Exclusive the driver doesn't work and you get an "Out of Memory" error.
Resolution:
- Upgrade to Windows 10 as this bug is fixed in the Windows 10 drivers
- Use SLI as this bug is not present in SLI.
What I can do is try to make a test version where I don't disable the Fullscreen flag. You will get into Out of Memory bug, but maybe this is specific only to 3D Vision and not 3DTVPlay?

Strange, this is what DHR said on last page "I have a gtx980 Factory OC, Win7 and 361.43 driver"
So he should also get the bug if that is true? Anyway, I would love to try it out.
Btw, I uninstalled the wrapper, and tried the game, was laggy as hell, then I noted that the uninstall did not delete the profile. So I deleted it using the inspector and it was back at full speed. Maybe its because I run the game without the wrapper? But I let you know anyway. :D
edit: Hmm come to think about it i did install this hotfix to get Oculus Rift Runtime 0.8 to work, maybe it conflicts with your wrapper/3dvision?

Sounds to me you have some other issues there...
- First of all the profile can't make the GAME lag or what you are saying... If you get that behaviour it shows your drivers are messed up!
- Second you have either stuff installed like Oculus runtime whatnot...
Like you said.... It works perfectly fine for D-Man11 on ONE SINGLE GPU on Windows 7 WITHOUT A FULLSCREEN exclusive mode.
Which all point to the thing that:
a) Either You are having issues with your Windows install
b) Or the Sony Headset doesn't work with 3DTVPlay in window mode.
What I would recommend:
- WIPE Your HDD and install windows 7/10 CLEAN + drivers
- Test with a 3D TV.
Chances are it will work properly then. Like I said I have never supported 3DTVPlay nor developed against it. The fact that it works is just a bonus;) If you want to make it work you need to figure out how as all others have reported to work with 3DTVPlay.

Have richydemars gotten it to work? Missed that, which thread? I'm super interested in knowing how he solved it.
About window mode, according to DHR window mode does not work on his setup either, so since the game works for him there must be something else, somehow he does not run in window mode? etc, etc. I dont know.
I might have time for a clean wipe in the coming weeks :D Until then, SOMA will have to collect some dust :/
edit: My SOny uses the same standard as all TVs using HDMI 1.4 so cant be any difference there, maybe if nvidia has some code explicit for the Sony, but that seems unlikely since there are a standard (720p@60hz or 1080px24hz)
