This is more annoying then I thought. It looks like whole Helix/Community fixes doesn`t work. Everything is alright when I play games with 3D support like Batman or Metro. Everything is perfect. I don`t even care about those lines - sitting far from the screen. I didn`t even know that they are there.
Two games which works fine are Watch Dogs and ACIV: Black Flag but that might be because of different fix/wrapper. All old games (Dishonored, Far Cry 3) are broken - like fix didn`t kick in.
BTW - there is no mentioned by me synchronisation problem in any of those. Only games I had this problem with are Diablo 3 and Vanishing of Ethan (which works fine with SLI off).

once you have seen those inversion lines you cant unsee them and these lines also appear in 2d gaming also but they are a bit harder to see. My acer hn274h had far better 3d then the swift to me the experience was much better. I will live with the swift for the time being cause its still not bad with gsync and the higher resolution but when something better comes along without these inversion lines im getting rid of it. if anyone Is reading this and thinking of getting this monitor for 3d I would really think twice also the ghosting on this thing is terrible

So you're saying none of the fixes work?
Doesn't bode well for these fixes working with Auto 3D VR conversion if true.
Monitor seems like a real disaster. And here some of us were hoping the proprietary processing in these new monitors would completely do away with the inversion issues, not take them to a new extreme.

Finding out the ROG Swift does shit 3d is very similar to when I found out there is no Santa Claus.
What a disappointment! At this point I may just wait for a consumer Oculus Rift.

haha that's one way to put it. 3d on a good 1080p monitor just appears clearer then on the rog swift. my old 1080p monitor I prefer better for 3d. I thought the rog swift was going to be the answer for everything but sadly for me its not. playing assassins creed black flag, the inversion lines are really noticeable and the ghosting is pretty shit. But on other games that a darker like tomb raider and batman the ghosting is not so bad, but then you still have the inversion lines. I cant get over not one reviewer not reviewing the 3d on this thing everyone was so caught up with gsync. I think 3d is still great and an awesome technology but it seems anyone revewing it was not interested in this monitor being the first 1440p 3d monitor. Its going to make it hard to buy another 3d one when people don't review them anymore. I have a feeling even tho the rog swift is a 1 millisecond monitor it is not capable of moving the pixels fast enough for 3d, I could be wrong but that's sort of what I have come to think, its a to big screen with to higher res to push the pixels fast enough for 3d.

There is a problem with synchronisation on one eye when SLI is enabled in Diablo 3. Everything is fine when sli is disabled and doesn`t matter what vsync mode is on.
Is there anybody else with this issue or maybe someone managed with it. Latest driver version.
I think that is very unlikely to be the monitor since there is no real way for the monitor to know SLI or not. The latest drivers suck pretty hard. Try using 340.52, it's the closest to being decent.

Also- what's your take on 3D with this one? Definitely interested in your experience.
Thanks for the list I totally forgot that some drivers introduced problem to the games being fixed by Helix`s mod.
BTW - I wouldn`t give away this screen even if You or I will say tons of crap :)

I have been using the patched 3d and it all works fine but just the ghosting and inversion problems on this monitor show themselves big time in black flag. other games its a bit harder to see but black flag has put me off 3d on the rog swift

Sometimes I`m going back to old Asus 1080p just to see if maybe it is not a big of a deal - but quickly I`m changing back to Swift. It is just so good. This resolution is just a blast and picture quality is taking breath away.
Been playing Ethan Carther and couldn`t stop - just too beautiful to describe. Going back to old screen was a huge drawback - not worth for this game.
This is only my personal opinion and you have to know that it easy to impress me and then I am more focused on all good sides of this Monitor then a few let-downs.

I actually just got this panel and set it up this morning - played Skyrim for an hour or so and did not see any issues in 3D mode. Pretty stunning actually. From what I've seen around the 'net and researched about the issues discussed here - some people are more sensitive to them and see them more easily and some displays are affected more than others. I appear to be one of the lucky ones so far...
Mine also does not have any factory blemishes - pretty happy so far will report in if this changes for me.
Oh: using on win 7 64 machine with GTX 770s in SLI if that matters to anyone.

Hi Vulcan, like Pirateguybrush said, you must use the "Real 3D Fix" for AC4. Out of the box it only shows Fake 3D. So get the fix from here: http://helixmod.blogspot.de/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html, then switch to real 3D and see the difference.
Hi Vulcan, yes, that is absoluteley necessary. The Excellent rating refers to the depth buffer 3D (aka Fake 3D). Nothing but an NV marketing trick in my opinion, dont rely on this. AC 4 does NOT support stereoscopic 3D out of the box, even after updates. You need the Community Fix. Just copy the fix content as descriped in the readme, then start the game and do ctrl-alt-F11 to switch form Fake 3D to Real 3D. It is an unbelievabke difference. In Real 3D AC4 is imo head to head with Tomb Raider. Give it a try
