Hi guys, may I ask you a short noob-question concerning shader-fixing?
I just managed to hunt a wrong pixel-shader with 3DMigoto and skipped it in d3dx.ini-File.
Now when I play the game the wrong pixel-shader is gone -> PERFECT!
But does that mean that I always have to keep the 3DMigoto-files in the game directory and always have to press the "0"-key on numpad to disable the 3DMigoto-Shaderhunting-Mode?
I read somewhere that 3DMigoto is only meant for hunting but not for playing...
But if I click the "uninstall.bat" then all files from this tool are uninstalled including my d3dx.ini with the fix!
Or can I delete everything manually and only keep the edited d3dx.ini?
Sorry for noob-question...

I use 3DMigoto almost exclusively for playing DX11 games in 3D. It enables me to play in side-by-side and top-and-bottom formats, allowing for higher resolutions with 3D TV Play.

Okay, so you always press „0“ to turn shader-hunting off everytime you play?

In the d3dx.ini file, under [Hunting], set "hunting=2". This will have shaderhunting mode disabled when you start the game. Or you can set "hunting=0" to disable shaderhunting completely.

Thank you very much!
Is there also an easy way to solve skybox problem? The cloud textures are at screen depth but I can‘t find them by hunting the shaders (neither pixel shaders nor vertex shaders)...
Is it possible to either push them back or to eliminate them completely so that the sky is clear?
It‘s the only remaining issue (not a show stopper but annoying) and it would be cool if I could fix it.
What do you think?

Under [Hunting], try setting "marking_mode=pink". Now when hunting shaders, the shaders will turn pink instead of disappearing. I find that this helps sometimes.
Fixing skybox is usually simple. You can post the shader here if you are able to locate it.

Here's a simplified guide to 3Dmigoto
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/896196/
The guide was made by a user who was new to Shader Hunting, so keep in mind that it's just a general overview and not too in-depth. Also 3Dmigoto has added many new features since then. One of the greatest additions is Regex, which fixes shaders on the fly. 3Dmigoto is also branching out into game asset export/import, as well as other game modding features.

Thank you very much 4everAwake.
I think I found 2 problematic shaders which seem to cause the problem with the skybox. Another proof that those 2 could be the right shaders is that when you scroll through the text of those shaders you find very often the words "Clouds" and "Weather"...
The game seems to have two kind of cloud-layers (one with thick white clouds which look very ugly at screen-depth, and another one with only semi-transparent clouds which are not such a big problem at screen-depth although they look a bit strange of course too...).
I couldn't manage to push them further back but it's because I'm a fixing noob and it seems to difficult to me. You wrote that you might help if I upload the shader here... That would be fine.
Only thing I could do is to skip those two shaders and this is what happens:
Shader 1 (5c347f94ef904b4e): When I skip this one, the whole background in the game is black (doesn't look good of course because the blue sky is missing ;-)). Therefore I decided to NOT skip this one. Therefore, the semi-transparent clouds re-appear and they are not such a big problem. Would be interesting though what happens if you could push this further back instead of skipping it. So I think this shader is for the semi-transparent clouds...
Shader 2 (94f507a065328f9b): When I skip this one, the thick white clouds are gone. Those are the bigger problem and it can be solved by skipping this shader. So I think this shader is for the thick white clouds. Of course it would be better if you could push them back instead of skipping them (because sometimes nice 3D clouds are a nice variation instead of only blue sky :-)).
I try to upload the files and hope that you can help me with the fix of the skybox. Thank you very much in advance!

I just downloaded the game and took a quick look. I found a VS for the skybox and was able to place it at the correct depth. Also, "red shadow" problem is caused by ambient occlusion not being stereoized properly (instead of splitting into two images, it's just being shifted to the right). I'm unsure how to fix this so I disabled SSAO for now. I fixed some other stuff and posted a WIP in this thread:

Thank you very much. I will try this.
Don‘t know what I did wrong and why I couldn’t find the right shader for the skybox. The two shaders I wrote above are the wrong ones, right? I think it’s because I‘m a total shader hunting noob. I would be very grateful though if you could give me a hint how you did it and what I did wrong if you have the time for it.
Concerning the red shadow. This is the only thing I could get rid of by simply skipping a specific shader. I can have a look which number it had if you want... What I did: I cycled through the shaders and immediately found one where the red shadow disappeared, then I skipped this number in the ini. Didn’t know it has something to do with SSAO...
I'm unsure how to fix this so I disabled SSAO for now
I've had luck fixing AO in other games in the past, but it can be tricky requiring a great many adjustments to often multiple shaders and each one makes things look worse instead of better until the final adjustment is in (and they are all correct) and everything finally pops into place:
