Holy s**t, this title is actually supporting 3D Vision (from their website)
Currently is in "Early access" on Steam for 39.99

Yeah. It's as good as expected. They've also released pics of them playing with the Oculus Rift.
Honestly, all the pure racing sims have great 3D vision support. Iracing, rfactor(2), Game Stock Car, Assetto Corsa, Power and Glory (GTR 2 mod).
It's great, because depth perception actually impacts gameplay and allows you to drive better (and also makes some otherwise ugly games look really good.)

The cars handle great. IMO probably the best handling sim out there. At least with a good wheel setup. But it's a sim. So you kind of need to accept that going in. It's also an early access release which means it's shipping with very little content/modes at the moment. They're promising updates every 2 weeks. I suspect they purposely held back a bunch of cars/tracks so they'd have content to release on a regular schedule (while they continue to work on the bigger things that weren't gonna be ready for a while).

Spent half an hour in game: Clouds are at wrong depth, enough to cause stress to the eyes and reduce the 3D enjoyment. There is no option to turn off clouds that I see.

Be sure to let the developers know. Part of the point of early access is to get user feedback. And since they are serious enough to support 3D Vision natively, they probably care enough to fix the clouds. It's also a really easy fix for them.

Just got a few more minutes with it last night, still no pics Birthright, sorry. I have to retract what I said about the clouds, turned out at low convergence they are normal, but since I used high convergence the whole sky/clouds came down dramatically and appeared to be at wrong depth, same with the green arrow guide line. My dilemma is to put up with low convergence and normal sky/clouds and high conv. with wrong depths cloud/sky and neither is an option, so I stopped playing the game until figuring a fix for it.
@bo3b: It's a very good idea, and I want to have a better understanding of this effect and prepare some screenshots and a detailed description before posting to dev's forum, if in fact it was a fixable issue.
What I would like to know is whether there's a simple workaround for this, like an alternative profile or a graphics option that can be checked/unchecked.
Off topic, I've been out of the gameworld for the last several years and just got back in recently in fits and starts, and still catching up, it seems a lot of changes have been taken place in 3D gaming, Helixmod being the most significant one, 3D Vision 2, and the apparent abandonment of Nvidia on 3D Vision. I hope Occulus Rift would work with 3D gaming in case 3D Vision is going the way of the Dodo.

On another note, I finally got to try Skyrim and Batman Gotham City, and Borderland 2, but none can go to 24Hz in game (3DTV with projector). I've searched the forum and saw refreshlock recommended, and some even say rivatuner. I've tried downloading refreshlock at a few sites but they all seem to force me to install their own "download manager" which I think is potentially a malware/virus/ads trap and every time you want to download a file, the site wants you to install its DM, there seems to be no end in the number of DM one has to install on the machine, it becomes very invasive very soon if I keep install all these DMs. Is there another way? Cheers.
EDIT: Found refreshlock exe (no DM) from 3D guru.

I'm curious, are you playing cockpit mode or 3rd person view? I normally like to crank convergence up in games, but not in sim racing games like Assetto Corsa. It gives everything an unnatural tunnel vision when using the cockpit(like you're stuck way in the backseat). And again, I normally love high convergence, so I'm not biased against insane depth. I didn't really notice it and I've had friends who use 3D Vision who thought it was great too. So maybe we're just a little dense, or maybe the cockpit view at default convergence doesn't have issues. Cockpit camera is a lot of fun if you're not using it.

I too am playing Assetto Corsa. I didn't change convergence so it looks great to me on my 50inch HDTV sitting 5 feet away. The left / right mirrors are a little odd as if their convergence is a little out. Some people have suggested the left and right need swapping (not sure on that). RFactor 2 / Game stock Car and now AC are absolutely marvellous in 3DVision (no helix patches necessary).

I played it in 3rd person view, behind the car. Even in cockpit mode I also cranked convergence up to just before the "tunnel" threshold and the sky still came down low, I mean garage ceiling low. I like my 3D gameworld in the realm of "doll house" effect :).
It would be nice if the game allows high level of convergence without problem, I still hope it can be fixed by devs at least.

I agreed that AC out of the box very good in 3D Vision. More than what can be expected of lots other games. I don't know whether my 123" screen size plays a role in this and I can't really try the smaller size TV since the setup is just too much hassle to do right now.

[/quote]There isn't going to be a simple fix for this. It's a pretty common problem when devs roll their own 3D support to forget or miss convergence settings as part of the equation.
The only way to fix this would be a Helix mod. Which if it's DX9 would not be too hard. It's one of the easier fixes.
But, the best way would be to bring it to the developers attention so they can address it directly, and also to know that convergence is important. It's an easy fix for them, but I'd wager they don't even know about convergence.
