Project Cars 2: Rating of "Good" is a lie, depending on how far out the car you look.
I play in 3D Vision at 7660 x 1440. Machine is plenty fast enough to handle it. Project cars 2: Inside the cockpit I have never seen such a beautiful rendering in perfect 3D in any game or demo ever. It is truly magnificent and a demonstration of what Surround 3D should be. The cloth on my suit looks perfect, I can almost feel my hands inside those gloves on the wheel. The depth is perfect. I know that I am surrounded by steel and leather trim, the windscreen is far away from me, the dust refracting perfectly. The wheel is close in my hands, and the road ahead stretches out invitingly. But that is where the fantasy ends. Nvidia says you need to turn the shadows off, then it will be "good." But even when you do, the lights on the back of the other cars just don't work. The depth is properly broken. When you look at any structure in the sunlight, it is half lit with one eye and half lit with the other. Compared to "Grid Autosport" which got the 3D right years ago, this is unplayable in 3d. Very very sad about that. The interior is so gorgeous! Drove a few rounds in 2D, nice game, but that really doesn't float my boat knowing how much better 3D Surround racing is. If I wanted 2D I would have got Forza 7. I believe Nvidia lied when rating this game as "good" for 3D.

Never listen to Nvidia rating, even 3DVision Ready games are someway broken... Any claim other than 3DVision Ready, even "excelent" are just a mess. Only care about HelixMod patches/fixes. .

PCars2 is stunning in VR though! I get great performance with most settings on ultra.

Its not stunning in the Vive. Seems the Rift looks miles better than the vive with PC2. I assume you have a Rift?
