Call of Duty Ghosts - Gun gets in the way?
Hello. I am using 3DTV Play / GTX 780/ Samsung 3DTV @ 1920x1080 24hz. Game runs in 3D with the latest Geforce drivers. I can get great convergence with this game, however the gun is rendered way too close....a 3D artifact, so bad that the gun itself hurts my eyes. If I adjust the gun to "go back into the tv", then the outside world is waaaay too far and flat, also hurting my eyes. Has anyone figured out a way to control the gun depth/convergence separately? Or at least a compromise? Such a shame if not, the game world looks excellent in 3D with the proper convergence settings.

This is an important issue for 3D. Its not always the case, but its rare to get a game absolutely perfect in my experience. I also prefer the world to look right over the gun, and have to sometimes just deal with the gun looking the wrong size or be in the wrong position. In Metro 2033 and Bad Company 2, the gun looked too big. In your case, one thing i will do is think of the gun as being "shouldered" if its possible (it may not be) and not look directly at the stock (rear of gun), only the front. Im not sure what you can do about getting it perfect, but if you can change the size of the gun like you can do in Crysis, i had thought that might help, but have not tried it.

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530

I found away to remove the Gun HUD with TriDefs drivers, maybe it can be done with Nvidia 3d vision. Here's video proof. [img]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeVLC9Q-oXk&feature=share&list=PLp55_vK4EhS3rkFeMCyU8ElyzL-YVbmxH[/img]

Nice work dude but it's tridef ;) If you could do it with 3Dvision, I would go to a second walkthrough and it would be awesome in other FPS like Bioshock etc...
