are there just no 1080p @ 60/60 3d vision projectors?
2 / 2
i just reduced my monitors resolution to 720p, it looked rather.... unacceptable. expanding that to multiple times the size of a 24" monitor would only look less refined, right?
are there just no 1080p 3d vision projectors at the moment?
as for increasing depth far beyond 100% is this really a significant improvement? (assuming it's done correctly)
If you not happy with 720p3D then do a dual PJ (pereferable 3 chip projector) system and get rid of eye fatigue issues of active 3d and get 1080 / eye @ 60Hz
Allthough i can't say dual projector setup does not have any negative issues but i would not have it any other way.

i want to play with 3d vision and not 3dtvplay.
anyone has tried it in 1080p,120hz, 3d vision?
or is it at least possible to choose 720p,120hz and make 3dvision work?

Hmmm....
And yet they say it only has HDMI 1.4, perhaps via VGA?
Someone should call their office on Monday for confirmation. If this is true, perhaps we'll see more that are 1090P@120hz capable at Computex.

It's targeted at classrooms though.

even component video though it´s good is not used anymore in 9 out of ten setups.

I gave them a call and they were still open. The guy told me that it will support a 1080P@120Hz input via not giving an out of range error. So it will only show 60 of the 120 frames/30 per eye.
I called Optoma, the guy there said they are skipping 2.0 and jumping to 2.2 and 4K.
The Viewsonic guy did not understand the difference between HDMI 1.4 and 2.0 and refused to hand the call off to someone more knowledgeable :(
There's still that CheckerBoard LG that might work

the sad thing is that usually no one in these companys actually knows anything technical about their products exept the engineer guy that has designed the thing. these technical advisors read the A4 paper about the need to know specs and thats it. They don´t know shit if they have not found it out themselves
