Half Life 2 crosshair
I just finished searching through the forum but I couldn't find anything regarding the problem I am having with the crosshair in Half Life 2. No matter what I do (enable or disable the laser sight) the crosshair is only shown on one eye, which makes the game impossible to play. Is there a way to correct this? Other than disabling the crosshair through the crosshair 0 console command?

Does anyone else have a similar problem to mine? Everything else works great, I just gotta fix this crosshair.

So does the crosshair show in in both eyes for everyone else? I am sure someone here has Half-Life 2 installed.

I can't say 100% but I believe that the crosshair only appeared in one eye for me as well. Sometimes things get weird like that though. I remember my evga precision OSD would sometimes only be left eye, or right eye, or sometimes both.

Right now, I am playing HL2 Episode 2 and I got this cross hair problem again. The first game was wears of war.

However, I did not got this issue in EP 1.

Laser sight is not working at all. I think I will have to turn down 3D depth to minimum, that seems to be the only way to play this game.

Thanks for the replies. I figured out how to make it appear in both eyes! I just downloaded a new crosshair (search on google for "Half Life 2 crosshair") and replaced the old crosshair with the new one. When I fired up the game it worked in both eyes!

Unfortunately the depth is all wrong so it's still fairly useless...but at least its a start.

In vanilla Half Life 2 the crosshair worked, but with Cinematic Mod 9.51 installed the crosshair would not work in both eyes, until I downloaded the new crosshair. The depth is still a problem though.

put "crosshair 0" on the console, and play the game without crosshair, I prefer in that way, the game becomes more challenger =D

I did that but then it became too challenging since I was already running a mod to make it more challenging lol. I guess I could just enable god mode, but a working crosshair would be nice. So much for HL2 then.
