Where you trying to play the sound through your computer speakers or was it through a hometheater system.where you using spdif or the minijack
If you have VLC player open it with that, click on tools then codec information. It will bring up a window showing you specific information
about the mkv, such as the audio codec. Then you can try and hunt it down on the net.
BTW if possible could you upload the rip to megaupload or something /thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I'm pretty confident it's a codec thing as yeah the sound works perfectly with any other application than the stereoscopic player..
nice idea FutureNostalgia, I will try to find out what audio codec is used.. maybe the proper decoder is not set in the stereo. player.
Also regarding the upload, it's 8gb... /haha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':haha:' />
so just google it and I'm sure you will find it easily.. this particular one is ice age 3d sidebyside 720p /stud.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':stud:' />

I'm trying to watch a 3d bluray rip..
I managed to have the image working under the nvidia 3d vision player, but somehow the sound doesn't work !
it works if I use a normal movie player (the image is not 3d of course)..
it's a mkv file..
is there some setting to sort out within the player in the decoder part ?
thanks if you can help !
