I have been totally unable to get 3D vision working for XCOM:EU and Dishonored. I am running Windows 10 (guh), most recent drivers and 1x960GTX. Basically the 3D Vision doesn't kick in at all - no annoying on-screen message about 3D quality, emitter doesn't activate, Ctrl-T doesn't do anything. I tried changing AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True in the engine ini file like the helix site suggested; no dice. 3D works in other titles. I wondered if there is an issue with all UE3 games, but Unreal Tournament 3 works ok.
NVIDIA did reply to my support ticket but eventually told me to just submit feedback on GeForce Experience. Not holding my breath on that. Can anyone help me out?

You have problems with those..?
oh..most important as I imagine you have problems...keep a Win 7 partition for playing on 3D as it's well known that Win 10 and some games do not get best relationship..

I tried out the mods, but 3D Vision won't kick in with or without them (not surprising since I think the mod mainly edits the shaders). I am getting close to installing Windows 7 but it is quite a hassle to free up the space on my drive to create a new partition.
Anyway thanks for your help.

Not sure of the etiquette of bumping on this board but can I ask again if anyone has had issues getting 3D Vision to kick in for specific games and whether they were able to fix it? 3D works for most games on my system.

I can confirm using driver 358.87, Windows 7 with an Asus VG278HE via a Dual Link DVI connection the game will enable 3D once I hit ctrl+t with or without the community mod, also the desktop is set at 120Hz. (Dishonored)

Ok so it turns out I'm a moron. Was using SweetFX for both those games before upgrading to 3D Vision; I removed the SweetFX d3d9.dll from the game dirs, but there is another dll (dxgi.dll) SweetFX uses for DX11 stuff, and which I forgot to clean out. Turns out this breaks 3D Vision, at least with the combination of OS and drivers which I have.
Anyways problem is fixed for me now. Thanks everyone for your help.

SweetFX can be used with community fixes with a little work.

Thanks D-Man. I was finally able to get Dishonored working with Helix+SweetFX by setting a ProxyLib in DX9Settings.ini (if anyone else is listening in, Eqzitara put some instructions to do this at http://helixmod.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/guidehow-to-install-helixmod-game-fixes.html; D-Man's link may help for more involved issues).
The snag that was getting me was that SweetFX includes dxgi.dll as well as dx3d9.dll, and the SweetFX override of the former breaks 3D Vision on my system. I don't have the experience to fully understand the details, but I was able to remove the dxgi.dll that SweetFX added, and 3D Vision then worked, with the Helix fixes and at least most of the SweetFX shaders.
