"Poppeted Outedness" Your Experiance
So im definitly picking up the bundle soon, prabably ordering it tomorrow. My new question is

1) How awesome is the "popedoutednous"?
2) How closes does it virtually get to your face?
3) what was your favorite moment while playing any game.

Hi

1. Left 4 Dead, a Zoombie coming at you.
2. This depends on the game. You can adjust the convergence to make your experience more or less to your face.
3. Left 4 Dead man! Killing zombies with a semi-auto shotgun is freaking awesome!

I thought out-of-screen effects were currently only in WoW. I don't play that game. I did load up Black & White 2 and there are some very obvious out-of-screen effects with the two conscience characters. Extremely cool stuff. I hope I never have to go back to non-3D stereo games.

It's important to understand how the pop-out experience works. This is a guide to how to set your 3D gaming experience up, and explains how to recognize the relationships with your naked eye!

In the NVIDIA control panel, you will need to activate the "advanced features" so you are able to adjust "convergence".

It doesn't matter what 3D solution you use, the principals are the same.

I noticed in my racing games (mostly rFactor, some Grid) that when I upped the convergence I got much more out of screen effects, as you'd expect from reading the above link (which I found a few months ago and was excellent reading!) I think a lot of the reviews of 3DVision have not enabled the advanced controls and played with convergence- it can be a game changer with how 3D is accepted and relished by gamer in this early stage of resurgence. I think everyone who tries or buys a kit needs to mess with this adjustment. Now I have roll bars and dashboard elements popping out well beyond my TV screen- when adjusted right, I believe the convergence point is about at the windshield, which is perfect as the car interior (in a bumpit view) is very 3D and some of it popout, and then there is depth looking "into" the set beyond the windscreen and onto the road or track. Really remarkable!
