Considering how many new topics are started for this game asking the EXACT same question, I would hope soon.

Considering there aren't any official reply's about this i guess this is a game which will always be unsupported. It's pretty much an Ati game anyway.

But i think it's very playable with Bloody's tweaks and exe launcher fix.

I'm getting the eerie feeling that this is going to happen allot more. With ATI sponsored games. Let's hope Direct X 12 will bring us an generic S3D api so that games can be optimized for S3d instead of IZ3d or Nvidia specific purposes.

Probably, and that's if they will incorporate some S3d api. I'm not saying they will. I have no idea what's on the roadmap for DX12.

Í don't see the problem; i'm playing it in s3d without the profile. There are renderingen errors but i don't mind them that much.

3D Vision drivers 196.75 have a profile in them and correctly recognize the game.
Nvidia has rated it as Not Recommended for 3D Vision and state issues with lighting and the 2D flashlight, as we did not know that already... ;)

that's confusing Bloody. You say there comes a profile with 196.75!? I installed 196.75 yesterday and now I can't play AvP any longer in 3D-vision because 3D vision won't activate when I run the game (I used to run the game with your AvPx.exe-fix).
You answered to my thread and you recommended to install the old drivers again instead of the new 196.75. Could it be I have to undo the fix because the new drivers have a profile now and should recognize the right game instead of the old AvP-game. HELP, PLEASE! Is there a way to run AvP in 3D vision with the new driver 196.75?

I'm talking only about the 3D Vision driver 196.75, not the video driver. Are you running the game in directx 9 mode?
