I have used 3D Vision for a long time but have only recently got a display that is capable of taking a 3dtv play type input signal. My display type is listed as HDMI 1.4 Blu-Ray 3D in the control panel.
System Spec :-
Windows 7 64 bit
Nvidia GT 240 video card
latest 1.45 drivers for 3D Vision
When I run 1920 x 1080p 24 Hz 3D the image is as expected.
When I run 1280 x 720p 60Hz 3D the image is as expected.
When I run 1280 x 720p 50Hz 3D the image is corrupted.
I effectively get an overlap at the top of the screen.
I get a band of overlap about 20% of the way down the screen.
Top 30% of the image overlaps the bottom 70% of the image, however only the bottom 60% of the image is visible.
This results in a 10% band (20% to 30%) not being displayed.

It is capable of driving any display that has an hdmi port. I have it attached to a Sony G90 CRT projector arguably the best projector ever made. Recently a number of CRT enthusiasts have become interested in updating the Radiance processor to support 3D on crt projectors. There are a handful of people trying to make this happen so that it can be opened up to all crt enthusiasts.
On the input side I currently have
Oppo BDP 93 3d bluray player which outputs 3D top/bottom frame packed 1920 x 1080p @ 24Hz
Sony PS3 games console which outputs 3d top/bottom frame packed 1280 x 720p @ 60Hz
SKY HD 3D Satellite receiver which ouputs 3D side by side 1920 x 1080i @ 50Hz
I also have my pc which has a Palit GT240 video card with hdmi output.
The pc has been running 3D Vision since it became available without issue. This particular issue is down to 3dtvplay only and even then only a problem when attempting to run at 50Hz . Field sequential modes work fine at 96Hz, 100Hz or 120Hz when sent directly to projector via analogue connections. This is specifically an hdmi connection issue.
The Radiance can take in a signal from any of these sources and convert it to frame sequential 3d format at 96Hz, 100Hz or 120Hz depending on source input.
The Radiance does all this and eventually will be able to greyscale and colour calibrate through 3D glasses to get near perfect images.
On the output of the Radiance I have an hdmi sync extractor (also made by Lumagen) which has a standard TTL Vesa 3D output. I can use this to drive virtually any emitter and 3D glasses. The Lumagen gives me delay timing control so I can reduce ghosting to virtually zero. I customise my porch video timings to reduce ghosting further. With this system I hoped to be able to play my pc games ghost free on a crt projector.
I can get the system to run fine with video card set to 3D 1280 x 720p @ 60Hz. However if I could run it at 50 Hz . I could reduce the video bandwidth required.
