So my laptop is MSI GT72s 6QD Denominator G and has the following specs
Chipset: Intel® CM236
CPU: i7-6820HK
RAM: 32GB DDR4 @ 2133 MHz (normal clock speed)
Original Graphics Card: 970M
Laptop screen: 1080p and supports G-Sync
HDMI: 1 (Supports 4K@30Hz)
Thunderbolt: USB3.1 Type-C interface, 4K output
OS: Windows 10 Home
I am thinking to buy Aorus' GTX 1070 Gaming Box but would like to hear your opinions about it. Including answers to the following:

Also, my screen does not support 3D Vision 2, so I have to buy an external one. Any advice on what screen to get?

I've never seen anyone try to set up 3D Vision using an external graphics card. My instinct says there's a decent chance it won't work, but it might be possible.

Well I don't have the Aorus GTX1070 gaming box I do have a relatively similar setup. I thought I might throw in my two cents on this.
I use an Alienware 13r3 with the proprietary Alienware graphics amplifier box with a gtx 1070 in it currently. I do use it to play 3d games occasionally connected to a benq XL2720z. Barring the random problems I have with windows 10 and 3d the hardware works great together with no problems for me. I don't really see why it would not work other then thunderbolt is a software solution where as the graphics amp is a hardware solution.

Yes, I know that it could be risky, but either way, slightly used GTX 1070 and 1080 still sell for pretty much their new price on eBay.

Yes, that was helpful. How would you rate your XL2720z? I am mainly interested in the following on a screen: overall image quality, eye fatigue after a long time of use, 3D Vision 2 experience, and brightness and bleeding.
This screen is 27 inches and but is Full HD. Does the pixel density look good?

I really like it. It does have the option for the bluelight removal. It is really bright to start with (350nit) so in 3d it works well. As it is a TN panel it has no backlight bleeding. I sit around 3 feet away from my monitor and I am pretty happy with the pixel density at this distance. This is a lot better then the two acer monitors I have used for 3d vision in the past. Biggest downside is viewing angles by far as it is a TN panel. If you can find one of these I highly recommend it. It is a older model at this point.
