Yeah, that's Will Smith, he was probably the worst editor at MaximumPC because he thought they should be reviewing Macs. No offense to Macs, but Apple doesn't support any stereoscopic. He probably has never seen 3D Vision.
Well I tried Tridef today with DHR config on my HMZ-T1 and it worked great with Bioshock Infinite, on par with anything on 3d vision, and performance is good. However my only problem is that textures are incredibly low res.
Happy that works great for you...what more i have enjoyed its the art of the game, really beautiful in 3D (remember removing DOF, visual its amazing without DOF).
Low textures its a bug from the game/engine and its the cause also from the micro-stutter (i dont know if devs will release a patch for this any soon). The engine auto-calculate the poolsize depending of you VRAM, BUT in some point they do something wrong, because its not working well. This happens to users even in 2D mode... i dont know how this game pass QA...really this bug appears after 10 minutes playing. Those config i post works fine for me, sadly every setup its a different story, you have to try. Hope with those values now its working for you.
Edit1: birthright, if you're playing 720p....its a must you use Sweetfx (add SMAA + LumaSharpen). Normally i make a Sweetfx profile, but this time i spend to much time configuring Tridef (i also want to play :) ), so i download from here (im using the "vibrant" one): http://gsngaming.com/topic/9039-bioshock-infinite-sweetfx-v14/

Thanks for this, I watched the whole thing.
The lack of chemistry between the three was excruciating. But it was informative, especially when they tried out the various control schemes available.
The other excruciating thing was their lack of experience with 3D. I'm glad they enjoyed it, but I wish I could have told them why interpupillary distance matters. But they got the main point- 3D looks great.
SBS - Yes
Checkerboard - I dont think so but not certain. People talk about it but Ive never seen option available.
For checkerboard output using TriDef
Select Samsung as the "Display Type'
Choose DLP for checkerboard
I think PDP(plasma) also works for checkerboard
I can't check right now, but Samsung DLP definitely is Checkerboard format
I have fraps, but it doesn't cause problems. I can launch fine 100% of the time when Tridef is off.
Also, having 3dvision on or off doesn't make a difference to my ability to use Tridef.
DHR is there any fix for real time shadows? They are incredibly annoying since almost every character in the city has wrong shadows, a pity since the rest of the game looks so good.
Also, my computer crashed while trying Battlefield 3 with Tridef, and now I cannot get 3d vision to work, specifically 3d tv play. I can enable stereoscopic 3d on nvidia settings and everything looks normal, and the 3d test works, but games don't, even though 3dtv play seems to be installed properly, any suggestions?

All hail 3d modders DHR, MasterOtaku, Losti, Necropants, Helifax, bo3b, mike_ar69, Flugan, DarkStarSword, 4everAwake, 3d4dd and so many more helping to keep the 3d dream alive, find their 3d fixes at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ Also check my site for spanish VR and mobile gaming news: www.gamermovil.com
Well I reinstalled nvidia drivers and everything is fine again with 3d vision / 3d tv play.
I think I'll wait for a profile that fixes BI real time shadows, the game is really playable with DHR profile but I want to play BI in the best shape possible.
Power 3d works better than I expected, I tried FEAR 3 with it, which is horrible with 3d vision, and it was decent, with nice depth, not close to real 3d but it's an option when real 3d doesn't work well.
Also I'm surprised how deep the customization is in tridef, it has a bucketload of options for 3d, and with the current state of 3d vision, it's refreshing to see tridef devs working so hard to release working profiles, that's why I think I'll wait a bit more and see if they can do anything with BI problems.
Also I made a few screenshots in tridef format, how do you convert them to jps?

@birthright, disable dynamics shadows in-game menu or/and in XEngine.ini (with the lights fixed now the others shadows with issues are fixed also), disabling Dynamics shadows not completely remove shadows, there still others (static) shadows that works fine..... i try to fix shadows, there is 2 source that produce shadows, if i fix one source the other breaks, and viceversa...i dont know if possible to fix this, Tridef render have to separate this 2 source in order to fix....tbh i dont know its possible.
Also I'm surprised how deep the customization is in tridef
Not always works great...also you have to spend a lot of time testing.....the values i post its after hours of testing. Tridef its an alternative, if you're a "3D FAN" its a must have both softwares, specially now that DX11 its the future in gaming...
If you loose 3D Nvidia capabilities, enter the registry in Nvidia Stereo and cange 0 for 1 in the registry "stereo_on" or something (im not at home)....its not necessary to re-install nvidia driver.
Power3D its flat....and you only see the entery screen in depth...not really 3D tbh. I have headache using.
Convert Tridef photos to JPS its a pain in the ass....Open the Tridef Photo (wait to icons disapear and press "Print Screen" key... Open Paint (yes, paint is useful for this...first time i open in my life) and make a new white image 3840x1080 or 2560x720 and paste the image....stretch the image and save like a JPG....then rename to JPS....the image its eye inverted, so you have to swap eyes in the viewer.

Power3d doesn't only put the screen at depth - it calculates the other view using the depth buffer. Still not even close to real 3d, but it's better than 2d.

You could use StereoPhoto Maker in the process might make it easier, after you press "Print Screen", Open StereoPhoto Maker and paste it (ctrl+v or edit>paste) into that, if the eyes are inverted all you have to do it press X to swap left/right, and then press S and save as jps. Unfortunately StereoPhoto Maker doesn't natively support TriDef 3D images, yet.

Yeah, in FEAR 3 it looked ok, though I was surprised since supposedly FEAR 3 profile should have fixed the shadows and it looked horrible. I made sure I chose the FEAR 3 profile, but still it looked really bad.
DHR, I'll give it a try without dynamic shadows to see how it works, in the in game settings I saw nothing more than low-ultra settings, no dynamic shadows settings anywhere, I'll try on the xengine.ini instead.

@TsaebehT, Thanks!!! i will try with StereoPhoto Maker.
@birthright, in game go to graphics --> Shadows: you have OFF, Low, High, Very High and Ultra.....select OFF.....or... You can disable also in XEngine.ini file in [SystemSettings] --> "Dynamics Shadows = 0"
About FEAR3, sometimes with Tridef profiles dont load properly....you have to go to "Profile" --> 3D Detection and tweak a few parameters....thats the bad thing with Tridef.
