I am using a laptop with an external monitor and always have it set to display ONLY on the monitor. So I have two displays, but only one active...
Should I set the multi-display option to single display or multiple displays?
Thanks.
Are you trying to use both? If so you'll probably want multiple displays. I have a monitor connected to my laptop and use multiple displays to extend my desktop which is really handy for working. Not sure about your goals though.
Edit: lol I just noticed this is a 3D Vision specific question. I can't be counted on for the correct knowledge in this area. :/ sorry my bad

I clearly said I'm only using the extended monitor, the screen on my laptop is turned off. And this option is under the 3D settings in control panel, I cant see it belonging anywhere else. If it does please direct me there?

The 3D Settings section of the Control Panel isn't 3D Vision specific, like the Stereoscopic 3D section of the Control Panel is, it's more for 3D/Geometry/Polygon based applications ... from what I gathered from a quick Google search is that it's an OpenGL specific option and shouldn't really matter too much either way. I always kind of wondered about this myself. I've always thought it was part of Nvidia's PureVideo HD and was for hardware acceleration when playing back videos starting with their GTX 7XXX GPUs. It seems to me that it was necessary to set this back then, because of something to do with CRT monitors.
Nvidia used to package a nice security photo enhancement software with their GPUs back then, but I've lost or tossed the disc.
