Laser sight & Fallout 3 Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this
Hi all,

Just recently got my H5360 projector & 120" screen and am loving 3d vision. Not too thrilled about the depth limitation (any ways around it?) and I do see the occasional bit of the "rainbow effect", but anyways onto why I created this topic:

When playing fallout 3, I find it necessary to use Nvidia's 3d Laser sight, but it doesnt always adjust itself e.g. Its renders properly at first, I bring up the pip-boy, the lasersight changes due to the new Z-depth, and once I exit the pip-boy the lasersight remains at the same up-close level. This sort of ruins the 3d-experience and is very distracting for my eyes (dont know how to describe it better than: my eyes are looking far away, and automatically try to apply the crosshair to what Im seeing, but since its rendered at a different depth everything looks wonky. Setting convergence to low makes it less noticable to the eye (though its still rendered at the wrong depth), but sorta castrates the 3d vision.

I can get around this my pressing escape, and then resuming the game, and the crosshair resets itself to the proper depth. Any solutions/advice?
(using all the newest & cleanly installed drivers)

Vista-64 bit
8800 GTX (I know! but 480 next week :D )

Thanks!

I have seen this occur for me aswell. I found a quick double tap of esc to bring up the menu and then back fixes it for me.

If you aren't bothering with weapon mods, you could always give this ironsight mod a go ;)

Thanks for the replies, ended up playing with no crosshairs :P Makes combat that much more difficult & rewarding. Will give the iron sights a try once the 480 GTX arrives :)
