what to do now? Play or wait? Ohhh god... :D Any idea when it will be fixed? Will it take weeks, months? Batman has not been fixed yet, is the TR hard to fix as well?

J0hnnie, it's difficult to estimate a time frame. Many of our fixers are actively working on other titles (Arkham, MGS, Dragon's Dogma), so they're a little busy right now.

I've tried the CM and i think i actually prefer to play it in 2D. I can see more details in 2D and the CM effect kind of hurt my eyes. It might give a headache after some time playing, not sure the reason. Cant see much of a difference between 2D and CM anyway.
what to do now? Play or wait? Ohhh god... :D Any idea when it will be fixed? Will it take weeks, months? Batman has not been fixed yet, is the TR hard to fix as well?
TR == Weeks. This game is not as hard as Batman, but it does have the new swanky Tile Lighting so there's new stuff here that I am doing for the first time. Batman has Tile Lighting, but that's done differently so the solution itself is not directly transferable, though the solution approach is the same. Batman has about 30,000 shaders, where as TR only seems to have about 2000, so that is something else in it's favour. You need to be patient though, we have lives as well :-)
Is it possible to edit anything via the NVStereoscopic3D.LOG where savings are saved?
Did a quick test by changing (in most cases doubling) the values for StereoSeparation, Suggested StereoConvergenceMultiplier and Suggested Infinity RHW. I couldn't observe a difference. Also enabling LaserSight had no effect which should be very obvious. I'm sure that I will play the game 3-4 times as it is one of the best games I have ever played (Tomb Raider fanboy, the first "next gen" title I play on my new hardware). As an appetizer I can enjoy CM and I couldn't wait several weeks or even days to play the game. When the fix will be released I will have a collection of (auto)saves that allows to check different areas whitin a short time to discover remaining issues.

The default value is just plain flat. If 2D is your thing than by all means play it in 2D:) For me CM looks actually pretty decent/good... Definitely not the true Geometry 3D but is a good compromise. Also the fix will be available when is "Done" and IF is done:) No ETA on it, but most likely weeks if not a couple of months.

well I have no intention in playing this game in 2d so I'll just wait whatever it takes. Thanks for all the work on this and all other titles.

I have completed my first and definitevly not the last play through of the game (story mode on easy, 75% completion, 31 hrs). I'm looking forward to play the game again in real 3D and now I can be patient enough ;) If someone is as keen on playing the game as me I can say that IMHO it is worth to be played more than one time. CM offered a good experience. The reduced depth is only very obvious in open and wide areas. But most of the time the game takes place in buildings, ruins and caves. Halo is acceptable if You don't use too high convergence settings. I was happy to see that fire and smoke are rendered quite good - and there is a lot of fire in the last chapter of the game. The only major issue I could observe were some of the water surfaces that are placed at wrong depth (at the depth were the ground would be). There was almost no performance hit compared to 2D. I wouldn*t rate the CM "excellent" as Nvidia usually does, but good. At least better than fair. I really wonder why the CM isn't included in the profile. Thanks again for the profile, helifax! And many thanks to everyone working on the fix for real 3D! The game is really worth the effort to fix it. Just downloading the Baba Yaga DLC ;)

If any Windows 10 users want this for cheap, you can get it for around $9US using this method. http://wccftech.com/rise-tomb-raider-9-windows-store/ However if the reported windowed full screen thing is unavoidable, you won't be able to play in 3D (which requires true fullscreen). So it's a bit of a gamble. But for that price, some may find it worth it. I'd imagine there's a decent chance you can force fullscreen though. EDIT: Multiple reports of people being unable to initiate true fullscreen, so this is a risky proposition. One nice touch I've read though - it supports the Xbone controller's impulse triggers, which I believe is a first for a PC title.
