Quad or dual core No Stereo? Anybody with a dual or quad core in 3d
:'( I want to build a Quad core machine using the Q 6600,but is it true that the dual or quad cores wont allow 3d stereo to work . or do we have to hope and pray that drivers will be written soon . You would think So, because what computer comes witout at least dual core these days. Does anyone have one working?

With a dual core you can play many games in S-3D without disabling one of the cores. It might help for some games to have a single core or all cores except one disabled, though.

Dualcore is fine for Gaming and other programs in the background. I don't see a good reason to buy a Quadcore, except, that it will last longer - but is much more expencieve and consumes more power...

Thanks for the info, the reason to go to quad core Q 6600,striped HDS is the price for them is reasonable to get into a quad machine ,I hope in 6 months or so to upgrade to a better processor, without my wife noticing, uknow what i mean.
I saw the Utube demo of a quad machine with FSX and was very impressed, this is what I primarily do is FSX with 2 DLP projectors so I need SPEED!!! But 3D is a must for me so I hope it works . /geek.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':geek:' />
