The EDID for the two models may be slightly off, resulting in your version (421SR) being unsupported even though the 420SR is. This is more of a problem caused by Walmart and any other retailer that uses this practice of coercing manufacturers into producing "exclusive" SKUs for identical products just for them. They do this so they don't have to honor any price matches against competitors even if the actual product is virtually identical. Hopefully they can add this EDID for you but I can only see this becoming a bigger problem in the future as Best Buy does the same thing for their Samsung TVs.

Thanks for that information chiz; it is appreciated.

I really hope NVIDIA can get this working for its customers. As you said, the EDID might me slightly off, and it should be a relatively easy fix I would think since the models are so close.

But knowing them it probably can't be made any sort of priority. I know, things get busy.

I might end up just returning the TV if there is no fix by the return date because 3D through NVIDIA's software is the reason I bought it.

Andrew,

I have submitted the very information you speak of 3 days ago in the form of a support ticket. I have not received any reply or information since. I would be happy to work with you to expedite the process.

Hi

We need about 1-2 weeks to process new 3DTV requests. It will get put in the queue and we should have a solution soon.
