Sudden black screens with 3DTVPlay... ...about 10 minutes after the launch of any game.
Hi everyone,
So, I'd like to explain you a serious problem I encounter using the last trial version of your 3DTVPlay Driver, on every game I tested. Everything seems to be fine at first: the game starts normally at 720p@60Hz, and my TV (a LG 50PX950, I bought it ONLY because I've seen it's fully compatible with the technology on nVidia website) automatically informs me I should wear my 3D-Glasses. Once in game, all is perfectly fine - especially on Battlefield:BC2, Crysis 2 and FFXIV - with 4XAA, the 3D effect is just amazing/deep, and the video smooth at max settings (AA excluded). BUT, for a reason I haven't been able to identify yet, the game always suddenly freezes after 5-10 minutes playing, then the display goes black and resets: the message for the glasses pops up again, just like if my graphics card had just restarted. After that, the above listed games crash and force me to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to shut them and the rest (Crysis 2 with a 50% probability, AC:Brotherhood, Sims 3...) keep working.
So, my first reflex's been to check the CPU/GPU temps (since the ambient temperature was 32°C) and nothing stroke me (the GPU ran at 93°C max, CPU at 55-58°C). I tried to uninstall and re-install the drivers: the same thing happened. Desperate, I found that the pop-ups of background running programs could eventually be the cause: I closed everything and... well, nothing changed. To finish, I updated my graphics card driver from 275.33 to 275.50 but I think you can guess the result which brought me here...
Would you please have any idea to help me? This issue doesn't encourage me to buy the full version... >.< Moreover, it is out of the question to buy a 3D Vision Kit. That would mean buying a new display, and my purse could be qualified of everything but extensible.

Why do you think 3D Vision does not work on your LG display?
Not only does 3DV work, but you would be able to game in native resolution instead of ugly scaled low rez 720P.
You should take advantage of having one of a handful of displays that is 3D native rez capable with Nvidia software.

Thanks for your reply... I meant my display isn't even mentioned on nVidia website (on the 3D Vision category: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html)
Edit: My mistake, it seems like the graphics card reproduces the issue even when not playing in 3D... /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I'm beginning to worry about this big problem...

Ignore the TV requirements page, it is incomplete. Many are using TVs that are not listed.
