Play any console game, tv channel or movie in 3d Tv tuner card and stereoscopic player with 3d visio
  1 / 2
Whats up guys I just received my Avertv HD DVR High Definition / Analog Video Capture Card MTVHDDVRR and I am totally impressed with the results I got. Now I play any console game system game, Digital cable channel or movie (PS3, Wii, Xbox 360) in 3d up to 1080i.
My specs are A dell dimension E521 (3200+ single core, 512kb of ram, 144gb hard drive space),Avertv HD DVR capture card, Software: Stereoscopic player and 3dfier. After getting the setting right on 3dfier and stereoscopic player (Go to "File"> "Live Video" to get video from capture card.) Now I watch Blu Rays in 3d, Cable Tv (through component cables) NetFlix in 3d, Play any game (PS3/Wii/Xbox even PS2) in 3d, Browse the web (Youtube on PS3) in 3d, its endless possibilites. I tested this with anaglyph glasses through the stereocopic player and 3dfier but this will work with 3d vision, 3d dlp ect. I plan on getting 3d vision and an Acer h5360 to play any PS3 or Xbox 360 game/movie on a 150 inch screen. BTW Fight night round 4, God of War 3, Call of duty, Nba 2k10, Super Street fighter 4, hey even avatar was impressive with this setup and anyone with a couple bucks can impress all their friends with this even if you use anaglyph (I prefer 3d vision but whatever floats your boat). Have any questions just ask me thats why Im here telling yall this.

BTW For those who dont know 3Dfier is a 2d to 3d conversion codec for use through the stereoscopic player. 3dfier does all the magic when converting a 2d game (through Avertv Hd Dvr capture card) to 3d

This sounds cool...and affordable.

Can you comment on the qualty of 3D using the 3dfier to play an Xbox/Ps3 game? Is there lag? Like is there decent pop out? Do some things look broken, like shadows? etc

I am very interested in this. How is the 3D on the console games? Is depth / convergence controlled through the video player? This is an instant purchase if the results are solid.

Does it affect frames per second on a console?

Just tried the demo out with video files. ITs basic 2D to 3D conversion on the fly. Its a neat idea to do it on the fly with video games, but the results are kinda mixed. Anyone that has seen Tridefs 2D to 3D conversion has seen this...

You can adjust the depth through the 3Dfier software or the Stereoscopic player. The quality is great, no lag. Frames per second dropping unoticable but on nba 2k10 xbox 360 I increased the game speed a little. BtW Fight night round 4, God of war 3 and Drakes Uncharted 2, simply amazing in 3d, even in anaglyph(But you can use any type of 3d or 3d vision)

Personally i rather watch a movie in 2d than watch a 2d-3d conversion. This may change in the future but so far 2d-3d conversions are crap.

Try a youtube search for 3dfier.

some movies like Alien, Star Wars saga, Blade Runner... looks great with 3dfier in terms of depth feeling.

I think it's important to add that the experience using 3dfier is only a simulated 3d and not even close to the one you get with 3d-vision, other stereodrivers or games with native stereosupport. It should be pretty obvious once watching the examplelinks from both Likay and Fguillotine above.
