I have a problem. During gaming randomly happens disconnection/reconnecting. The 3D vision emitter starts to blink. " monitor" goes black and i have to alt tab to desktop and back to get something on the screen again.
offcourse it´s always outoff synch and i have to stop and start the 3D vision to get right order on frames.
but that´s another topic.
But i have also gotten this error with i remember playing batman arkham knight.
Could it be the displayport cable too crappy ? I did not have this problem with gtx660ti SLI 2way..
now i have gtx980ti ?
or is it just bad drivers ?
The funny thing is that i get a good gameplay on dirtrally only with these last drivers. 358.50

Hmm, I do not have Dirt Rally to try.
But, 358.50 cured problems I was having with my VG278H switching to Discover. (Dual Link DVI connection, 980ti, W7)
You might try using DDU to install the driver, if you didn't before.
Also you might try a USB port directly on your Motherboard for the emitter.
I think i might have found the culprit.
I read somewhere one should disble all displays not needed when using 3d vision so
I had my desktop monitor disbled. After i enabled it, there has been no problems.

I have Benq XL2420TX, when using DP cable - I have this sync off problem in all games, rly dunno why, DVI-D connection is free of such a problem. and yes, if u have more than one display plugged in, u need to use only one (win+P), reinstalling OS might help as well

Same here:
If I connect one of my Surround group monitors on DisplayPort the 3D emitter starts to blink.
If I have it connected on DVI everything works perfect.
However:
- IF I LEAVE THE COMPUTER to do it's own thing it will blink for a while and finally "stabilizes" itself and then 3D Vision works perfectly fine. No other issues.
It's a bit annoying that it does this but nothing really "game breaking" :)
I am connecting to Display Port by using an Acel DVI to DP active adapter.
For the record, if you are using 3D Surround: 1xDP + 2xDVI works perfectly fine with the above annoyance.

You didn´t read my post properly. that is just what i did and now it´s found out it was the problem.
now everything works butter smooth when i have all displays enabled. Allthough metro redux stated crashing
to desktop. but it does it with any setup, 2d or 3d so it´s not related.
It´s good to hear dvi dual link is rock solid. i have the cable but i just somehow ended up using DP.
I don´t know how you output your sound but i have only option, HDMI and so another output is always enabled
do i wan´t it or not.
