No hype for Vermintide 2 yet, eh? (fix not working due to EAC)
  1 / 10
I certainly really enjoyed the first one, and the new careers system (and hopefully revamped loot) seems like it'll add some much needed playstyle variety to the gameplay, so for anyone that does have this game on their radar rest assured it is on mine... as in I purchased my preorder 2 days ago... so I'll be taking a good look at getting it fixed. Just need to find the time. (do I really need to sleep? Hmmmmm)

Definitely hyped for it. Just haven't said much cause seems like the first one didn't get much love around here. Glad you feel the same way.! Looks like they made a great game even better and addressed the originals problems.

Played it already a lot. It is definitely better than the first one. Now I am looking forward for the rest of the maps in the full version. Definitely recommended for 20 of your currency.

I really wanted to play the first game, but I had to return it due to the FOV and associated motion sickness. This brings back fond memories of my Chosen that I played in Age of Reckoning. I miss that game :(

screenshots look good. It seems only shadows are a little bit off. But the rest is nice. I will test it myself tomorrow.

Game is really nice and works well enough in CM with the original vermintide profile, but would be amazing in real 3D obviously

Just in time for the weekend, here's my WIP. Essentially completely 3D ready on the first 2 levels (and intro scene). Haven't played past the first couple levels to know if there are issues beyond them, so please report back anything broken you find, but given that I've used regex to fix most things there's a good chance that most of it will be fixed. Just need to work on the HUD a bit more (would love to get a 3D crosshair working, but as is it's pushed into a static depth, and you can adjust the outer hud to your liking with the ] key), and, of course, fix whatever remains. Enjoy: http://www.mediafire.com/file/cwmds5sp7wn0ntl/Vermintide_2_fix_v0_91.zip Edit: After a couple more runs tonight I've found water ripples need fixing, and I forgot that certain reflections are still broken. Very minor stuff, though. Edit 2: Oh, completely forgot. Need to disable DOF and not use TAA (so use FXAA, or no AA). Also may want to disable screenspace reflections since they are not completely accurate and unfixed. Edit 3: Updated link to newest WIP.

Whoa, I just read on the Steam forums that apparently this game is supposed to be using EAC. That means that either EAC didn't properly install for me or is not currently implemented (and may be at a later date, screwing us all over) or they've now whitelisted 3DMigoto or dx11 wrappers in general (not too likely). Here's hoping that another game doesn't get ruined by this disease.

I did not have any problems with it either. Great work. Thank you. I have played all but about 4 of the maps and the only issues I have seen is holes in the walls in some of the underground levels and some subterranean water. But I assume that's related to the screen space stuff, you already mentioned. This game and it's style really shines in real 3d it's breath taking. Do you have any plans to do anything with the blood effects on screen? This is usually the kind of thing I remove in games but I'm not sure I would want to here.

[/quote] I actually did consider capturing the shader for the puke that gets splattered on your screen from the bile troll and adding some transparency to it (and even an option to disable it), but considering that this is a MP based game, particularly one where we're on somewhat thin ice due to anti-cheat concerns, it was best (and ethical) to not add that to have any advantage over those playing in 2D
