Driver 385.41 says bottleneck is fixed

They can certainly lie, but that doesn't mean they always do. I don't see how lying would help here anyway. It's either fixed or it's not. No one but us cares, and it's not like we can't figure out if performance is still bad.

NGreedia has an obligation to maintain technologies that we as paying customers are trying to use. An alternative to supporting them is to simply like to your consumer-base "we weren't able to replicate the problem in our lab". I've seen this before with car dealerships, where people were having problems with an older Honda Civic Hybrid, and Honda was fully aware of it (basically, HCH 2, released in 2006, had EPA MPG performance figures that required using the comparatively small nickel metal hydride battery, leading to premature failure withing only 2-3 years time, within the warranty window of 90% of owners, and if your battery failed prematurely and you took it to a dealership they would replace the battery but then flash your ECU with a new map that used the new battery far less aggressively, and this resulted in a 5+ MPG hit in everyone's fuel economy, if you went in to complain about sluggish acceleration or an MPG hit the dealerships would drive your car around the block and say "we couldn't replicate the problem".) They were eventually sued by a class action lawsuit.

xXxStarManxXx, please post your results on the GTA V thread. Your anti corporate stance is clear and I appreciate where you're coming from, but unfortunately slagging off Nvidia/Microsoft etc. on a user to user support forum doesn't really achieve anything, apart from you letting off steam. If that's all you want to do, fair enough, it's a public forum.
