sony HDR-TD10
Anyone have any firsthand experience with the HDR-td10? I'm having trouble finding good info on it and am interested in one except that it sounds like its difficult to burn any 3d blu-rays without buying (or pirating) sony's $600 video editing software. I'm really just interested in being able to play back 3d files on my computer without having to play them through the camcorder. This of course also entails being able to transfer files from the camcorder to the computer so I can back them up - etc. Is this possible without having to add to the cost of the camcorder for software?

Hi

After using Sony first 3D hdr td10 for a week I can tell you few interesting facts on this camera. This is my personal opinion and it is my first 3D camcorder I own and have no experience on other 3D camcorder therefore I can’t compare. I do own older Sony Product during 22 years time from Video 8 (CCD-Sp5) to DV (TRV 900 3CCD), currently I own Canon 5D Mark II + 7D with Zeiss + Canon Prime Lens. Use Final Cut Studio 2 to do my edit work. I will use the term Camera as Camcorder in this review and the word Photo as Photography.

There are Pros and Cons on every product even my Canon 5D Mark II for Professional wedding + Video work. I will lay this Camera down hard first to get all those bad point out than the goodies. I will add more review as time goes by plus a hand on video I’m working on sorry I can’t output the video in 3D on the web since I’m a Mac user. As you know there is no edit software for 3D as I’m not aware of, if you do know there is 3D edit software for the Mac please leave a comment as I’m learning this new tool.
