The Humble Double Fine Bundle
I know Pyschonauts and Brutal Legend have been fixed, so what are the chances for Costume Quest and more importantly, to me anyway, Stacking? $8 for all four games is a decent deal, but I already have Psychonauts. https://www.humblebundle.com/ Forgot that it's also just $1 to get steam keys for Costume Quest, Psychonauts, and Stacking. Thanks eqzitara.

1 DOLLAR! IM CONTRIBUTING = ) Psychonauts hasnt been fixed yet. Apparently I fixed only sky in one area, I just found the profile it needed. Bo3b is posting a version soon. Got a preview of it in a different thread. I didnt even know costume quest was on PC. Game reminds me of nightmare before christmas [A bit of design and halloween]. I love games with wierd/unique design. Its kind of wierd because there new game that they are showing off really doesnt look interesting in comparison to other ones. Might just be me/somber tone.

I played a bit of it on PS3, I actually have both that and CQ on PS3 ... free with PS+. I've seen so much of CQ that I don't actually need to play it myself ... and well Stacking I like it's weird/uniqueness. :D Edit: Oops. CQ not PQ.

PQ? Im sure a double fine fan is gonna curse me out but all of theres games have amazing dialog/narrative/design but they all seem flawed in gameplay. I really dug everything in brutal legend but gameplay was a chore. Ive only played brutal legend/the cave/ a bit of psychonauts though. So I am a bit iffy on stacking since its basically got the awesome design + gameplay since its silent from what I read.

I'd say Psychonauts might be worth your while, from the gameplay perspective. I found it to be pretty good game play. Not a chore certainly, but not very difficult in general. Right up to the end at the Meat Circus, where they step it up to 11 and made it irritatingly hard. But overall, game is terrific. Writing and story are first rate. Even the crazy comments the kids make around camp are terrific. Almost ready to post a finished version that fixes every defect I know of. Couple more days and it should be ready. Looks absolutely terrific with Helix mod. Easily 3D Vision Ready caliber, works in all depth/convergence, and is really a great toyify game.

I really liked Brutal all the way through. The world, characters, and even gameplay were a lot of fun. The only thing that annoys me is that there are still a few minor bugs with the PC version, though they're still patching it (slowly - but a new patch came out today) Psychonauts was a classic too. They've actually gone back and patched the meat circus to make it less painful - though I never really struggled with it. Glad to hear a proper 3d patch is incoming! As for Costume Quest, that's a pretty fun, well-designed game. However it's somewhat lacking in Double Fine's signature humour, probably partly due to Tim being pretty hands-off with it (as I understand). I've played the demo of Stacking (console), and I got a similar vibe from it. CQ in particular seemed aimed ay a younger demographic too, so I felt like I was playing a kid's game. In 3d terms, I can see Stacking looking pretty good, thanks to it's toy-like art direction.

I only tried Stacking a little last night, for the most part it looked good, with the exception of the drop shadows, especially at a distance, and a few 'lighting' things like light 'projected' through a window onto the floor and light flares/glows, not lens flares just a glow flare at the light itself.
