I am new here - and a newb to the whole 3d scene -
I'd like to know if I can setup 3d viewing experience with the below hardware - if I something needs to be added/modified, thats what I am looking for help with.
Hardware:

1 nVidia GeForce Wireless 3D Stereo Glasses Kit with Emitter ( Yet to buy - but going to within next few days from Amazon)

2 Laptop with GTX 260 M Video Card - Native LCD resolution 1600 x 900 (Owned)

3 LG HX350T 720p Front Projector - Native resolution 1024 x 768 (Owned)
If I add item #1, would I be able to get this to work? I need to add as an item #4, 3d blu ray player - but not too sure, if the above will work.
I will really appreciate if someone is able to help me with this.

I had a look arround and found no reference of it being 3d capable - in fact i saw that it was only 300 luminems - which sugested it wouldnt do very well at 3D even if it was capable...
I seen an article where someone said their 260M was 3D compatible, but I cant see anywhere that says it officially.
To be honest, i think even if it worked, it wouldnt perform very well.(for games)

If it works for either, I'd be happy. I do know that lumens are lower for the projector, however can I use my laptops display as alternate?

The simple answer to your original question, ie would it work if you added item 1 is, "no". You basically need to buy item 1 plus a suitable monitor which can operate at 120Hz such as the ASUS VG236.

NVIDIA keeps a list of the 3D capable projectors/monitors: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html
The graphics chip is a bit on the weak side, too, if you're planning on playing graphically intense games. It should be fine if you're just playing 3D movies.

Was it games or just bluray you had in mind?

Neither the laptop screens nor the projectors will work.
