No, I have never used the fix for SW:ToR. I tried to once, but it's always had problems with the game and wasn't working for me at all. No big deal. The only glitch you'll see is one of the lighting methods renders at the wrong depth, but it's used pretty sparingly in the game. Everything else (including water) is perfectly good in 3D on it's own. Interface doesn't give me any problems, but I play at 100% depth and more of a medium convergence normally (I like for the world to still appear somewhat life size over extreme depth).

no fix, but i'd like to have it. Actually i dont mean the whole UI but when u select any npc or players their names are 2d (for example in wow they render in 3d).

Make a consular, and do the stream of rock pebbles thing they have, then swing the camera around so the pebbles are flying at your face. Awesome.

Too bad they used such a shitty engine and released it while it was still so buggy. I'd still be giving them my money if their forum nazis weren't such fucktards, deleting and dismissing performance complaints right and left. Tis sad to think what a missed opportunity it was for a epically great game. So is anyone still playing it? Does 3D still work? Since it released in December, are you the ruler of the galaxy yet? If so, was it worth the grind? Anyhow, awesome trailer

Anyhow, awesome trailer
I reroll from time to time since its release, and 3D is still excellent (with shadows turned off). A great game for SW fans for sure. Too bad the story is more and more focused on single player gameplay though.
Shadows WORK just fine my friend! Except one broken setting, the rest works fine.
AFAIK shadows work fine in exteriors but are broken in interiors (most of at least). What did I miss?

Shadows are perfect as you can see from this image: The settings I am using: Sorry for the 3D Surround image, but is how I play the game. Couple of tips: - Always have the same resolution both in-game and in Windows (otherwise the Aspect Ratio is wrong) - For Shadows in 3D make sure the "Cascade Shadow Map" is set to Medium. <- Is what breaks the shadows for you! - Rest can be set to absolute MAXIMUM if you want;)

I concur, this game has excellent 3d. A new graphics setting, 'enhanced shadows' (SSAO), has been introduced, which is, unfortunately, broken in 3d, but apart from that and the shadow map cascades, it works great. I am having one other annoying issue though that isn't present in 2d or tridef; frame skipping. In certain places, turning the camera will, rather than just lowering the frame rate, drop a load of frames...kinda like you suddenly jump forward in the panning motion (fps flickers from 60 to fifty something). It makes driving around a planet nauseating and somewhat a deal breaker. Has anyone else noticed this, or know a way round it? Unfortunately using tridef I am suddenly even more cpu bound than is usually imposed by the game, and fps is too unstable.
