I'm nowhere near my 3DPC so I can't try it out, but I wonder if CheatEngine could help you find the memory address. http://www.cheatengine.org
On another note, we shouldn't really have to hack our way around these issues especially on a current 3D supported title. I'd suggest posting on the steam or official support forums. http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?p=1991306

I've done a few attempts using cheatengine so far.
Found the memory adress but no real luck.
If I increase depth by changing the memory value it is just restored to 1000.
Max depth in game is equal to about 25% on my 27" screen.
With bigger screens the depth % increases obviously.
As the depth is limited inside the game the only remaining path is to wish for a future patch.
I have a problem with this game on SLI with 3D Vision. I have the same result on benchmark with an without SLI and the light through the wall.
I have tested another SLI bit in inspector with no change.
I have two GTX580 with I7 2600K. In benchmark, I have 36 fps without SLI, 39 fps with SLI at 720p with 3D Vision actived. At 1080p, I have 73 fps with SLI and without 3D Vision.
Anyone have a solution ? Thank !

I have more or less the same results as yourself with SLI 670's. Im hoping for an NVidia driver fix soon, or a patch for the game, because I refuse to play it with such bad performance at the moment. I'm convinced something is broken.
Well my 2x780's output an average of 32fps with 3dvision on max at 1080p, cpu is 4770k @ 4.5ghz and both gpu's are overclocked.
Are you running Win 8.1? If yes, roll back to Win 8.0 and all will be fine, i´ll promise you ;-)

I'm playing in 3D vision surround on 780 SLI and I'm getting an average of 50fps with most setting maxed, except for shadows, and AA. Guys, try lowering shadows from the highest setting, and mess around with a few settings. I was getting like 15fps in 3D surround until I changed shadows. I can check my exact settings if your interested.
Also, a couple of times I got some huge slowdows but Alt Tabing got my framerate back up.

Trust me, I'm running 780TI SLI with 4770k@4,4Ghz Cpu and its no matter which setting i have. It runs choppy every time. I do have good frames, but it's far away to be smooth. Only rollback to Win8 helped me. Tested on a fresh installed system, upgrade to Win8.1 brokes the 3D Vision performance in primarily DX11 games. Tomb Raider has similar issues.

Does this affect only on sli users? Im too lazy to test, but ive been feeling im not getting the same performance now that i did before i upgraded to 8.1. this was win7->8.1 upgrade. Tomb raider and skyrim for example feels little choppy at times and i had to lower settings little bit. Still feels choppy sometimes, even on the lower settings.

I swore I had this fixed by turning off vsync in the nvidia control panel. Was still getting low fps than what I should have been getting, but wasn't uber stuttering anymore, so I messed with the settings and found lowering ssao helped a ton with everything else maxed. was getting 60 fps. I just tried it again and now it's not working. I have no idea what happened, I tried resetting vsync to on the back to off and nothing... Running 2x760 msi tf oc + 3d vision 2. Same thing in tomb raider. I tried messing around with the settings and forcing vsync to off in the control panel like i did for thief but couldn't ever get it to play smoothly like I did thief for that 1 time... really frustrating

You had mentioned the SSAO helped by lowering it. I don't know if you just made a error but it is actually SSAA(Super Sample Anti Aliasing) & has a big impact on performance & visual quality. I was 40 hours in when I realized this because most games have SSAO & that's what my brain saw!
Anyways the biggest thing for me with performance was setting SSAA to low & turning off "Contact Hard Shadows" since I couldn't notice anything visually with it on.
Hopefully we see a nice performance gain in the next driver release.

SSAA INCREASES your resolution then shrinking it back [to reduce jags]. It is VERY performance heavy. Its probably always the most performance heavy feature in any game. Cause it effects everything. The higher the resolution your running at the bigger the hit.
I *think* contact hard shadows makes shadows blend together.
