I would to add the following Windows 10 isn't very good for 3D users one problem is forces video driver updates. There currently is no way to hide an update like Windows 8.1. The best solution for the problem with Windows 10 is purchase another hard drive or SSD image your Windows 8 or 8.1 system drive reimage to new drive update the new or old drive to Windows 10 this user's will have the best of both worlds.

@lacuna: Thanks for sharing those screenshots, that is some terrific results there. I'm happy to see that Tridef is still putting out fixes for at least a few games and is not totally dead. @Pati: Why do you keep harping about the Win10 problem? The Win10 problem is the NVidia 3D Driver, and there isn't anything we can do about it. The NVidia 3D Driver is roughly the same as the Tridef. Middleware that produces the 3D effect, using the underlying video driver.

Lacuna it looks good, only the hair is kinda weird/ What I don't like is separation and pop-out used, but probably it is how you prefer it.

Hi all, Am I the only one having troubles while playing in 3D vision with the cutscene lightning mod? Shadows are too dark and Geralt's hair and beard seem very shiny

I recognize that we can finally say Whaooo :-) thanks for patch helix team ! Possibly related to the above, sometimes HBAO+ may stop working correctly. If you see a false ambient occlusion shadow appear to the right of objects, you can press F11 to quickly disable HBAO+ without having to use the menus. This is often an indicator that the 3D is going to die or that the game may even crash soon, so it is recommended to save your game and restart as soon as possible. http://helixmod.blogspot.fr/search?updated-max=2015-07-08T09:54:00-07:00&max-results=6 Hbao+ works ! same problem as DAI. You should add in the explanations on helixmod page. Must turn off 3d when you launch game (logos) before main title (ctrl + t) then turn on 3D when you are in game otherwise shadows bugs

Did you have a look a this mod? It seems to do better than Cutscene Lightning Mod and remove the fog effect : https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=10&v=HND7Hzzuf08 http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/198/? What do you think about it?

Are there any workarounds for the incorrect shadows problem? It takes me at least 3-4 restarts to get the shadows rendering correctly. I tried the last 3 drivers (on 353.62 currently) but the problem is still there. Using fix 1.0 and a 980ti.

I had it set to off alraedy but it doesn't seem to fix it permanently. Sometimes it starts fine at the first attempt, sometimes it doesn't. It's very random. Do you have to do something else beside setting it to off? Delete files somewhere?

If you got 3D "on" at the beginning then it might switch "off" before main game and then go back with broken shadows. Had that before. Got to "Regedit" and change this line to "0". Like this: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D\StereoDefaultOn = 0 After game start switch 3D "on" by CTRL+T.

Hey Guys, just installed win 10 and now the 3d fix wont work :'( Just want to let you now because i now you guys had a lot of work with it to get it to work on win 7 & 8. I also have installed the latest geforce driver (353.62). The right eye is ok in game but the left has white objekts. And i ex- and import profile with deleting nvdrssl.bin and installed fix again but nothing worked. Maybe one day you find the time to make it work with win 10. Thanks for all your work Bara
