Does keystone correction affect resolution and 3d?
hiya guys,
bought an optoma hd67n. works great. but ive had to use keystone correction to make the picture fit on my screen, due to the distance from screen to projection. Is this going to affect the 720p nativr res? and also effect the 3d in games?

Keystone correction is usually done through a digital correction performed inside the projector.
It does affect the resolution since the picture is digitally distorted and has to be resampled.
Whether it affects 3D depends on the projector, since it's a projector internal affair, the answer is usually no...
unless the projector is badly made and that keystone correction changes the timing of the picture (your glasses would no longer be synched perfectly with the picture). However I have never read any report about this happening ever.
So you can be assured you'll be able to use keystone correction with no problem with 3D.
