What's the latest/greatest projector? Anyone try the Optoma HD33?
I've had the Acer 5360 since it came out but gave it away with a pc to a family with kids that loved it. Was looking to buy another one and see on NewEgg the price has dropped from $699 to $509. Looks like things about to change???

Anyone try the HD33? I see that it's not on the "approved" list though. I use with Cyberlink for movies and some games.

Hey, Nvidia folks, any new approved projector updates coming out soon?

I would like to know as well. I would really like a 1080p projector that didn't cost an arm and a leg that supports 3D vision.

There aren't any 1080p 3D Vision certified projectors out there to my knowledge. Even if you were to bluff the EDID you would still be limited by the 3DTV specs (720p60 or 1080p24) that would be fine for watching films but not for games.

I figured there would still be limitations on 1280X720 for gaming, but want to make sure I get a "state of the art" projector for current movies, maybe other things I'm not in to yet, wii?! My wife will get pissed if I have to put up 2 projectors...

Thanks!
