Dual pipe stereo setup on GeForce GTX 1070
Hi all, May I ask if anyone has come across setting up dual pipe stereo before using a consumer grade nvidia card like GeForce GTX 1070? I have found the following article: How to configure Passive or dual-pipe stereo with Quadro cards in Windows 7. https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3012/kw/stereo But the steps are only for Quadro cards and the mentioned settings do not appear on my GeForce GTX 1070 card. Thanks!

Why do you want Dual Pipe? Do you even know what Dual Pipe is? You can use a GeoBox to convert Nvidia's Frame Sequential. TriDef supported Dual Pipe, but it was tricky to get the frames to stay synced and the only person I know that used it, did so with a Radeon GPU.

@D-Man11, Thanks for your reply. Actually the problem that I am facing is like this: I have a Barco F80-Q7 projector and I wish to output 3D using it through HDMI 2.0. I can currently get 1080p 3D @24Hz or 720p 3D @60Hz, but ultimately I wish to have 1080p 3D @60Hz. I looked into many articles saying that 1080p 3D @24Hz is the best that we can get through HDMI without hacking anything. So I looked into another input option provided by the projector - dual pipe input, which I believe is having the right eye and left eye signals output through independent ports of the graphics card and feed them to the projector. Any ideas on how I should solve this problem?

Umm, are you gaming? If watching movies, it doesn't really matter, since the frames are a set quantity of pre-rendered frames. But yah, I've never seen anyone mention getting Dual Pipe to work via a consumer GPU. I only know of one guy that I helped get it working with a Quadro at a museum in Europe somewhere. But I basically, just pointed him to the customer help article that you linked. We have several posters with Dual Passive Projectors, using GeoBoxes with consumer GPUs.

I am trying to build Unity stereo applications and output it using the projector. Ran a test program at 1080p 3D 24Hz and the flickering was just too much.
I am trying to build Unity stereo applications and output it using the projector.
FFS, you could have included that in your OP. Well imo, you'd be wasting your time targeting Dual Pipe, the user base in the last 20 years was minuscule, compared to other type of displays, The Planar mirror display, is one of the few that ever used the tech. Dual Pipe requires Clone mode, this was removed from the consumer drivers when NView was. But when the first 4K monitors released, Nview was partially reinstalled into the consumer drivers to allow clone mode because of the Dual Inputs needed to drive 4K@60 via HDMI 1.4. As a side affect, we got 2 monitor surround, where previously 3 monitors were required. Requires GTX 960 and above. So it's possible now, but Dual Pipe 3D doesn't work officially. Unofficially with a hack? I've no idea. If a hack, BlackShark would know (might not be spelled correctly) Search the forums https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/824274/3d-vision/guide-how-to-search-the-3d-vision-sub-forum-more-efficiently-/

Does the Barco support CheckerBoard? SbS? O&U? BTW, have you looked at this stand alone UNity 3D app? http://www.mediafire.com/file/0pwba92oj6z3sp3/DeWol_S3D_Demo.zip It doesn't offer Dual Pipe, but perhaps contact the author. There's also an injector for Unity. Both are mentioned in this thread. You can also read this thread https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/912552/3d-vision/modifying-3d-vision-to-support-sbs I'm too lazy to look up the links/individual posts for you, especially not knowing your motivation. I imagine that you are writing an exorbitantly priced app for the industrial/medical/science/etc sector. Not to mention, that every one of you "app" guys that has posted here, has ever followed up with conclusions that might help others/add to the knowledge base.
