Thanks for the fix! Updating the game as I type this. :)
**EDIT**
The game crashed for me because it said I was mising the file "d3dcompiler_46.dll"
I went and copied the that file from my Witcher 3 fix and it started fine after that. Might want to add that file to the fix.
It does work great so far so it's nice to be able to play this game in 3D again.
My mistake;) Forgot to copy it in the archive. Will fix it;) Thx!

I didn't see it last night but is there a way to assign a hotkey to toggle the HUD depth between two settings? I like the 3D HUD but it's hard to navigate the inventory and menus with the hardware mouse that is at depth.

Currently there isn't a key, but I can add one;) Let me experiment a bit and see what is working best;)

huge thanks to Mike_ar69 and helifax, pls update this on the helixmod site, this kind of things get lost in the thread otherwise. It reminds me of the Risen 2 fix I saw recently on the game thread and was never posted on the website. I'm useless for shader hacking but I could help with this kind of things on the helix mod site if needed, a way to give something back after so many amazing fixes.

Hi all, I posted the original DX9 Elder Scrolls Online fix on Helixmod, so I will update it with this new DX11 fix.
@Helifax - Please can you update the download to include the missing dll, and post that here? Then I can update it to Helixmod. Is there anything else that should be in the game/fix description? I know I just did most of the fix, but I am still pretty checked out and can't remember if there were any tricks to get it working etc?
I complete my MBA in early December, so should be able to look at the water reflections again at that point, and any other bits that get reported. Until then I don't have time though.

I will do that and also add a key toggle for the HUD to be 2D;) But unfortunately I can't do it until the weekend;) Almost there;)

So I finally got a chance to play for an extended period and I notice sometimes the shadows "break" for no reason - they render over characters incorrectly for no apparent reason. If I change the shadow setting from Ultra to high, and then back again, it fixes it but only for an extended period of time. This even happens when I first launch the game.
I have tried disabling SLI, turning off shader caches, tried other profiles, and even re-installed the fix and newer drivers but the issue still pops up. I am not sure what is causing it.
I am on Windows 7 SP1 running 1080GTX cards in SLI.
As far as the game goes, they apparently made it so things scale like in the single player games. I know some people do not like that but as someone that likes to explore and see the game world, it is nice to be able to go pretty much all over Tamriel at any time. It also makes it easier to play with friends of different levels.

I haven't seen this, but I haven't played for long periods of time. It sounds like the game is changing shaders or is using some cached version or something. It will be really hard to debug this.
It seems that you also found a workaround which fixes this thing. Whatever it is, it sounds like a game generated issue :-s
I know there are still a couple of shadows that still don't work properly in some locations and during night and so on, but I couldn't find a way to fix it :(

Hi - thanks for the feedback. If you can remember where you saw this, and could go back and play in debug mode so shaders are dumped, and then post the shadercache, we can look to see if there are not just some shaders missing. Given that the issue is 'fixed' by changing quality levels, I agree with Helifax that this is probably a game bug. Just so we are all on the same page what Nvidia driver are you currently on? I am on an old driver because I have not played games all year (shock horror) so probably need to update. The game fix is only 25 shaders at the moment, which is remarkably few, so I would not be surprised if some have been missed off - perhaps if you could send me your shadercache regardless, I can at least apply the fixes to any new shaders I have not seen before.

The DX11 fix was working great for me till the game patched with the Homestead DLC.
Now the skybox, clouds etc. are back to what they were before the fix, all depths are off.
How do I fix this after patching in Homestead? I deleted all of the DX11 fix files and folders, then reinstalled them but it didn't help.
Its a shame because before Homestead the 3d vision in eso never looked so great. Hope we can get the fix working properly again.
Thanks in advance for any help.

That is sad...
Unfortunately I don't have any incentive to pick this game up again any time soon... I'll probably look at it again in July or so (when no other games are out)...
The hard part was done... the migration to DX11... So, if any shader fixer is interested in this, by all mean please do so! Should be a relative easy job now - to swap the shaders with the new ones!
