Shadow play - Recording and converting not to sbs format
Hi I have two questions. It is possible to play in 3D but record (shadow play) only frames for one eye (record 2D)? And second question how to convert 3D recorded movie to 2D (reduce to only odd or even frames)? Simply I don't want sbs output. Regards

I ran across a trick to allow you to record which ever way you want. The short answer is that ShadowPlay recording will start in whatever mode you are in when you turn ShadowPlay on. So, for 2D recording, 1) Turn ShadowPlay off 2) Turn 3D mode off in the control panel. 3) Turn ShadowPlay On 4) Turn 3D mode back on. Now any video you record will be single eye, while you play in 3D. For reference, the same thing happens if 3D is enabled when ShadowPlay is turned on, if you want to record 3D video. Desktop capture must be enabled.

For this game (Rise of flight) this workaround does not work. What i'm doing wrong: enabled aero to to be able to start recording in desktop; Turn ShadowPlay off switched off 3D vision in ncp; Turn ShadowPlay On started recording from Shadow Play; turned on 3D vision in ncp; started game and played in 3d; After that when i did watch the video recording i saw that 2d part of game is recorded but when game goes to 3d mode there is no video

Not sure. Also not positive this works in all games, because I've only tried a small number. Could easily be an incompatibility. Only thing that is different when I do it, is to switch 3D Vision on BEFORE I start recording. It just needs to be switched on after ShadowPlay is enabled. I use the shortcuts for on/off of 3D. Also worth a try would be to start recording when it's in 3D mode, instead of at desktop.
