Hey buddy! Just curious if you've made any headway on a sky fix?
I do not recomend to install this game. I have done for curiosity, and differen problems with last stereo drivers:
- All shadows do not render properly, must be disabled.
- Water problems with 3D.
- Big stuttering also with 50fps.
I suppose that oblivion.ini can be tweaked to optimize the new hardware to solve some of the stuttering, but too many problems, I have no illusion.
I´m runing in Windows 7, Core i7 930, Nvidia GTX 460.
Turn off self shadows. Regular character only shadows are not perfect but they are definitely tolerable for such a grand game (you can turn them off and it is barely noticable). I used to get stuttering but since I have upgraded that is a non issue. I get a solid 60 fps (AMD965BE/6G DDR3 Ram/2 x GTX470))
As far as water goes, turn off reflections. I wish I didn't have to but it is tolerable
The sky is the big issue at night.
I have played this game for many years and 3D breathes a whole new life to it. I wouldn't consider going back

I've uploaded some stereoscopic screenshots as other people had problems taking them (Machine speed dependent? On my machine the inventory comes up after the screenshots been taken)

I have found a script to minimize stuttering, but still this game eat more power than desired:

For water I know that I must disable reflections in oblivion.ini. And if you install "Natural Environments/Natural Water" you can play in 3D seeying all visuals reflections (but reflections of buildings and mountains is not well done and disturb a lot... but maybe better than a plain blue boring watter if we play with no reflection). Note that Natural Water overrites the oblivion.ini parameters, but aditional problems occur if it is not disabled reflections in oblivion.ini.
"Regular character only shadows are not perfect but they are definitely tolerable for such a grand game" -> I am not agree. Shadows are usually a very important thing, and this game do not render them correctly. I must disable all shadows to play + reflection problems in water + sky problems = very POOR 3D (at least for me). And also stuttering. So I think that 3D compatibility is POOR in this game. Another thing is if the game is good or not.

Anyone? I'd really like to take some screenshots of some of these epic moments w/o a menu in the picture...
