Hipsters today claim 3D is just a gimmick, but how about 16th century 3D, done by Leonardo Da Vinci?

I tweaked it up a bit with StereoPhotoMaker to align it better and remove the annoying color difference. Here it is for cross eyed viewing. Download it, and it should work on your 3D Vision.
It's maybe not fully convincing, but it's pretty good. Especially look at the hands, the article emphasizes those work best.

LOL, we've found new reasons to love/hate Da Vinci.
From reading the article, my guess is that this is an accident/coincidence of having two artists in the room. I doubt Da Vinci meant for the painting to be viewed in this way. On the other hand, 3D stereoscopic vision is as old as humanity. Evolution wired our brains for it. To enjoy stereoscopic 3D is to enjoy being human, I think.
Not much has changed. Paintings are nice, but they're stereoscopically 2D. Therefore people made sculptures, which are fully 3D. Today we have 3D Vision, which likewise improves on flat screen images.
Sky renders at wrong depth, and it looks like the hud is completely missing.
Any chance of a fix?
If you're still using the latest drivers you could try 'Compatibility Mode' ... it seems to work with the image on the left(DX11?) ... I might give the Assassin's Creed II profile a try on the other one later. Lol. :)

No, I just did it by 'hand' using Gimp(Poorman's Photoshop) ... creating layers(rough selection, copy, paste into selection and promote to new layer) for each area of depth, cleaning the 'edges' of each layer, then shifting the layers left/right accordingly and saving as left/right images, then using StereoPhotoMaker to join (X swaps stereo for Crosseyed) and save them. This was a really quick edit ... usually I'd clean up the halos(was trying to mimic CM anyway) and add more layers of depth(there's only 7 in this one), etc.

I'm pretty sure chickens and other birds don't have stereoscopic vision like our own as their two outward facing eyes are designed to give them nearly 360 degree vision instead of having both eyes converge. But I get your point about pigs, cats, gorillas, etc, LOL. I still think the 3D haters are anti-human though. They're secretly jealous of birds and horses.
