Did someone say he would be interested if Titanfall 2 works in 3D vision? Okay, here you go. Just download the bundle with more than 30 pictures to make up your own mind.

My conclusions after 20 minutes and without tweaking anything:
- broken crosshair
- broken skybox like in Titanfall 1
- some broken light / fire shaders
- the rest actually looks quite well
- very performance intensive on 3D vision but tweakable
Besides of this:
- game has finally a single player which looks fun
- gun sounds are bombast and better handling than in TF1
- graphics sometimes a bit "pixelated"
After short gameplay in the campagne I would say nothing to regret. Recommended.

After I played some more - I admit almost only in 2D and randomly to check in 3D -, I have to say that the 3D vision would actually be good if the stupid crosshair would be in depth. Don't know though how to turn it off or how to push it into the screen. But I guess some people know how to do this with the source engine. My tweak latin is at end.
To the game: it has some very creative and impressive levels in the campagne. Something you haven't seen yet in other shooter. I am pleasantly surprised. The multiplayer is also fun, but it is missing something I actually like in the first one. But not sure yet what it is. Might be lack of spectors or foes during MP matches...

Same issue here. I talked to tech support this morning and they said exactly what I expected them to say, "the development team are aware of the issue and will hopefully look into it soon." Well, I tried a number of things, including tweaks in the cfg file and made a custom one to execute thru origin line arguments. It is locked down as far as I can tell, and even so, the iron sights and all scoped rifles will be completely useless while aiming down them. It is such an immersive experience, otherwise... hopefully in the future, someone will bring this up in patch descussion.

I didn't play the first game not do I have this one;)
Don't think I'll plan to buy it soon either;) (Need to buy a new car for my wife as the current one is a bit old (2005) and repairing it is not too effective)
Does origin offer a 10 hours trial for this game?:) Maybe I can take a quick look? (Within the 10 hours period?)
Does anybody know?

I actually enjoyed the game a bit more than Battlefield 1. EA is not offering this time any trial.
Did you check out my pictures? What do you think? Do you have an idea how to turn off the crosshair? It is actually the only issue I have with the game. All my respect to the source engine. It's still quite nice in 3D vision. Performance intesive, but with 3D vision on I see a lot of potential.

I really enjoyed TF1, but the poor sales I'm reading about have me concerned that TF2 might not have much of a player base - especially in Australia, because our player population in general is already low compared to EU/US.
Is there any chance you'd be okay with lending me access to your Origin account so I can take a look before buying, and find out whether or not there's a player base in Australia? No pressure, of course.

I don't use a key store, I just use Steam in the Russian region. Origin doesn't really have much in the way of regional pricing differences, so it would probably come out to around $50US
As far as I know though, there aren't any shaderhackers interested in fixing this one for 3D though, so I wouldn't be comfortable taking a donation for it - I'm just interested in taking a look at the server population in Australia.
Don't worry about it. I don't want to put anyone in an uncomfortable position, and a donation wouldn't be appropriate for this one. I might just do a little more research and maybe pick it up myself :)

Don't worry. It is just I learned never give away your password. I hope you understand this. :) Actually a pity no one is interested in fixing such a fun game. The single player has some of the most creative levels I have seen since long time. Weapon handling and controls are in general perfect.
Concerning the population in Oceania (Sydney), I found 166 games for the most popular game mode attrition. In comparison, Frankfurt (Western Europe) had 13000 games. So guess it is possible to find games in Oceania at the moment. But in long term I guess it will be more or less dead.

No problem at all, I understand completely. When I've done this in the past with people I've changed my password to a temporary one, then changed it back afterwards. I've heard the SP is good, but is the MP good enough to pick it up now (before dead servers), or should I wait and get it only for SP once the price drops?

WOW!
I checked out all the pictures and the game looks like 90% 3D Vision Ready;)
The damn crosshair is 2D ofc and I noticed other weird depth things but I am amazed that the shadows and all the fancy effects are rendering in 3D flawless;)
Consider me interested in this game;) It should NOT be a massive fix for this game;) (But until I actually see the game is hard to tell!)
(But 50£ is or 65£ - Deluxe Edition is a pretty too much for me currently;) as I spent quite a lot this month and more spending is coming;) In any case I'll follow on this game at some point;)

Nvidia has put of a performance guide.
http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/titanfall-2-graphics-performance-and-tweaking-guide
ADS Depth of Field
When you right click to aim down the sights of your weapon, and target an enemy, the background will be blurred to make said enemy stand out more. In-action, it looks like this:

huh? who wanted this? and why?
Luckily, it says that it can be disabled :)
Here's some in-game footage on Nvidia's Gaming Network/YouTube Channel.

Could you please give us your PayPal address (I noticed it somewhere recently but I don't remember where it was....this forum.....helix-page....)
So please leave your PayPal address here and I am quite sure we can fix this little Titanfall 2 "funds"-problem in no time. (no obligation for a proper or soon fix involved of course)!
