To all experiencing no 3d after over install, can you provide the PCI_ID for your notebook GPU? We will need the following:
1) Make and model of notebook
2) NVIDIA GPU model
3) What 3D mode are you trying to use (3D Vision/3D Vision Discover/3DTV Play)?
4) Are you using internal LCD panel that supports 3D Vision or external 3D Vision monitor? If external, please provide the monitor make and model and how it is connected (DVI to DVI, DisplayPort to DVI, DisplayPort to HDMI, HDMI to HDMI).
5) Device ID of GPU. To get the Device ID of your GPU, please do the following:
-Open your Windows Device Manager
-Double-click on the "Display Adapters" icon
-Right-click over the icon for your NVIDIA GPU
-Select "Properties"
-From the Properties window, select the "Details" tab
-From the drop down "Property" box, select "Hardware Ids"
-Copy the first line shown and paste it into your report. It would look something like this:
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A2B&SUBSYS_9072104D&REV_A2
Please update this thread with your notebook information.

Do you HAVE to have both the glasses AND 120hz display connected for the stereoscopic option to show up?
I am having a similar problem on my Asus G51vx-rx05. Geforce GTX260M, Intel Core 2 Duo P7350, 4gb DDR2 RAM. Win 7 Pro x64 w/ SP1. Have the USB wired glasses, waiting on the 120hz display. Was trying to play with the settings for the glasses but stereoscopic option is NOT even there, I have enable/disable 3d in start menu though.
Trying to find out if I also have the driver bug or if its cause I don't have all necessary equipment connected.

Update: Well after many hours of frustration, I managed to get something to work. I basically had to resort back to an older driver (190.38) with modified .INI and matching 3Dvision beta drivers. I really don't believe this is a hardware issue and I hope nVidia is still looking into it because it seems that any driver version (atleast 266 and up) has this issue. Soon as my 120hz display arrives, i should be in business. Hope this helps anyone else having problems. Again I am using an Asus G51VX-RX05 laptop Intel Core 2 Duo P7350 2gHz, GeForce GTX260M, 4gb DDR2 800 RAM, Win 7 Pro x64 w/ SP1.

Wow, after spending hours googling I FINALLY figured out an answer, for mine at least.
I just navigated to C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\290.53\WinVista_Win7_64\International\NV3DVision and ran the 3DVision_290.53.exe file and the Stereoscopic 3D option popped RIGHT up in control panel. 3D is working perfectly connected to my Playstation 3D Display.

Stereoscopic 3D panel has never been shown as an option, even though for all other functions the graphics card and software has worked perfectly.
External emitter built into Viewsonic V3D245 monitor
Have tried both express and advanced, both with and without clean install, uninstalling and rebooting between installations.
Looks like thousands of people have the same problem. From trying to discover how to solve it, it seems to affect most makes of laptops and pcs. My laptop and monitor work perfectly and are good models. It would be good to get the Nvidia software for 3D function sorted, as by many accounts it works well when it’s properly installed, using a quality monitor.

Hope this helps some of you guys.

Windows 7, SR1
NVidia GT540M
