Toybox Turbos (AKA Micro Machines Redux)
It's been released and there's a demo to download (Steam). The convergence I've used in the selection screen is significantly different than the setting required for my driving, but it's not a deal breaker. It's basically Micro Machines (without the license). I've got my plate full at the moment, but I'll definitely be picking it up at some point. Because this art style and top down racer really shines with 3D Vision. EDIT: Oh, snap. http://vrfocus.com/archives/8599/codemasters-toybox-turbos-getting-oculus-rift-support/ Rift update next month. Including a Rift exclusive camera that emulates watching a bunch of toys from above.

hey i just tried the demo, that game is really neat lol. The 3d works nicely too. The menu convergence doesnt bother me being messed up after setting the game convergence higher.

[quote="gatorkea"]hey i just tried the demo, that game is really neat lol. The 3d works nicely too. In fact, we didn't even play LEGO Batman 3 as we simply couldn't stop playing. As you said though, tweaking the depth/conv for gameplay makes the menu very difficult to navigate, at first that is, after a few minutes you get used to the layout and instead of being both difficult to navigate AND visually unpleasant, it quickly becomes exclusively an aesthetic issue, the lesser of 2 evils AFAIC. So, yeah grab the Demo and check it out. It really seems to be a refresh of the 'Micro Machines v4' PC title of some years ago, that was and is a fun game. If my memory serves me right, I seem to remember that it (MMV4) behaves almost identically in 3DV - menu issues and all? Not sure, but meh.. I digress, Thanks for bringing this to the forum, Been a GREAT week/month for games in general, add to that the number of 3DV titles that have either been Great 'out of the box' or made Great/Better by community fixers, many thanks go to all of you. ~Nutz
