Have you actually changed the graphics settings?
I have s watercooled 980ti and when you get the right AA and turn the settings it looked awesome to me.
I hooked up my Logitech G920 tonight and it is unreal how immersive it is.
If only I had money for Dbox motion actuators......

I would like also play in 3D!
There are several months, mike_ar69 had fixed lots of shaders but with the latest patch, all shadows are broken again.
I don't know if it's possible with this new patch but for the previous patch I loaded all cars of the game and I had sent to mike the shaders files.
Here is the previous post:
Hi - thanks for the feedback. All the issues you post are dead easy to fix, the real problem for me is "finding" them. This game only creates shader files when they get used, so I would literally have to play every car, and every track, in all quality levels. I don't even play the game, let alone do that.
What would help me is if you can do the following:
1. In the d3dx.ini file set these values:
export_shaders = 1
export_hlsl = 3
2. Play the game with the cars and tracks etc where you see issues.
3. When you are done, go to the shadercache directory and zip it up - it will only be about 2MB
4. Attach it here.
5. I can then bulk fix that and create a new update.
Anytime you find any issues - say they release new cars and tracks - just do the same thing and I can fix it.

There wont be any further patches.
Slightly Mad Studios is working on Project Cars 2, so it would be worth re-fixing shadows. That would take immersion to a completely different level.
Nope, using CM is a very bad suggestion.
Do you play this game or are you just posting?
So what Cm-Profile would you recommend?
Instead off CM you should use this fix and turn shadows off.
I do not have the game.
I quoted mike_ar69's post, so you could see that he is busy with other stuff right now.
I'm certain that once he has some free time, he'll fix it.
Perfect 3D in VR. When the rain drops hit your visor and start to slide away....
Have you tried the game with the fix uninstalled?
Maybe the update fixed all the problems by accident getting it to work in 3D on VR?
Might be worth a try.

If somebody wants an update on this game than at least load all the cars / tracks etc and post the shaders here so one of the shaderfixers can take a look (if they have time and so on...)
:)
Otherwise I don't think it will happen (based on the previous comments)...
Shadows in cockpits are stil ok with the fix.
Yes but the only solution to have a fix is to load all cars and tracks. It can take approximately 1-2 hours.
I will do it in a few weeks, when I have more time.
