Quadro FX 3800M and quad buffered stereo on a laptop Stereoscopic laptop search...
Hello,

I am looking to find, or build a laptop with stereoscopic capabilities for a GIS application. The Quadro FX 3800M features this ability.... Could I swap this video card into a packaged 3D laptop to get the quad buffered stereo support I need?
I'm hoping to go mobile with my work.

Any help or suggestions are welcomed.

I am actually looking for a laptop that comes with the 120 Hz screen.... with a Quadro FX3800M also.... Is this going to be difficult?

Looks like that day may have arrived. I see that Eurocom now makes a Quadro-enabled laptop (called the Neptune, see http://eurocom.com/products/showroom/specselectnew.cfm?model_id=218) with a 120Hz screen as on option. 'Bout time someone finally married a Quadro with a 120Hz display!
