What is the best for 3D gaming with maximum FOV - 85" 4K TV or 3D Vision Surround on 3 projecto...
I have Sony 65" 4K TV 65X9005 now and its not support 4K 3D gaming with EDID Override ((
I want to buy 85" for maximum FOV in near future (2-3 months). But I afraid to make mistake as with f**king Sony...
And I think about 3D-Vision Surround via 3 projectors, but 5760x1080 setup give very narrow picture for my wall size

Only problem with LG is that the screen door effect on the ones i have seen is super apparent and the pixel structure is so poor that it looks like 1080p. Maybe not from far away such as your seating distance. They do take that into account. But man, the Sonys and Samsung look like they they super-high end pixels and anti-aliasing built right into the TV. I just went to Best Buy for the PSVR demo and i think i saw an LG that had nice looking pixels, so just be aware that some are much better than others i think.
This made a huge difference for me when upgrading from my 2010 Sony NX711 to my Samsung ES7500, which was at the back of my desk as a computer monitor. Not only couldn't i see the screen door with the new Samsung in its current position, i could even pull it closer for a wider FOV before i saw it and even then it was not nearly as jarring.
The pixel structure of the one LG OLED model i saw (only one though...) looked like utter shit from demo viewing distance. Pixelated as hell.
I will just say that, be careful, some of those 4k TVs out there look like 1080p. Although perhaps not from you viewing distance.

Why do you want 85" screen? I strongly suggest actually looking at 3D content (like movie or high-contrast 3D test picture) on the TV that you are considering, to determine its actual minimum 3D viewing distance. As mentioned in other discussion threads, 55" LG appears to have larger 3D FOV than 65" LG, when viewing content at minimum 3D focusing distance...
I suggest getting 55" LG OLED (I have EF9500 - it is great).

I view 3D films on my 65X9005 from 1 meter distance. But I want more FOV, comparable with my FOV on projector setup (3 meters height and 6 meters width screen on the all wall. View distance 2,5 meters). I think about 3D-Vision Surround via 3 projectors, but 5760x1080 setup give very narrow picture for my wall size. Ideal resolution for 3D Stereo - 3240x1920 with 3 1080p PJs, or 2160x1280 with 3 720p PJs, but 3D-Vision Surround uncompatible with portrait orientation on projectors ((.

If you use two PJs in Surround then you can fit maximum size picture on your wall and you can stretch it to the top so you can get a lot more then with three of them. Resolution will be still great as well.
3D Vision Surround supports two screen mode as well.

Are you sure that 3D Vision Surround supports two screen mode? I thought that 2 display supports only 2D Surround mode. I need 3D Vision Surround with 3D-Vision glasses for 3D Stereo gaming, not for flat gaming on two screens.

@ RS422 YES 3D Vision supports 2 Projectors in Surround. NVidia did this some time ago and just to let you know I use a 2 Proj. config in 3D Vision works fine ;)

2x Monitors in 3D Surround work as well, but you get bezel in the middle...so...

WOW !!! It is very good! I want to ask you, as the 3D Vision Surround guru - what resolutions are possible for systems with two projectors? And what setup is the best for my wall of 3 by 6 meters in size?
Guys, where it is possible to read in more detail about 3D Vision Surround with 2 Projectors setup?

It is true? About "you can run 3D Vision Surround with 3D projectors in portrait mode"?.
It is true that the number of expressions for the beautiful images, I think you should weigh from many directions
I haven't understood your answer. If to use 3 projectors 1280х720 whether then it is possible to receive 3D Vision Surround stereo image in 2160х1280 resolution, that is in the portrait mode?

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530
