3d Vision Problem
I have a new Alianware Optx 3d monitor and a set of glasses.
3d looks good, however in steam games ( tf2 etc.I think it is happening everywhere but most noticable here) and the steam overlay I cannot even remotely see what the text is, and the mouse cursor looks like it has horizontal lines running through it (think thats what is messing with the text).

I also think it is impacting game quality in other games. I'm not expecting too much from the graphics (waiting on the GT470/480). But not being able to read text makes me worry that something is broken. I have tried a fresh install and it didnt help at all.
Any advise would be appreciated, I'm at my wits end.

My specs are:
Alienware OptXâ„¢ AW2210
Nvidia 8800gt
Intel Q6600
4gb ram.
196.21 Drivers

Edit: turning off 3d vision via nvidia control panel fixes it, but not quick switch.
