BSOD when using SLI with GeForce 3D Vision BSOD SLI
1 / 2
Hi all,
I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and have installed the Display and 3D Stereo drivers off the latest 1.2 disk. The install goes wonderfully according to plan, and the wizard runs great. However, if SLI is enabled when I perform any 3d work, I get a BSOD from "nvlddmkm.sys"
I can do 3d fine as long as SLI isn't enabled. I have tried reinstalling the driver 3 times, using a driver cleaner as well in safe mode, and still can't use 2-way SLI with 3d vision. Can anyone shed any light on this?

I don't have a lot of light to shed on your problem I'm afraid, but I would just like to confirm that I have an SLI setup and can use 3D Vision fine with SLI enabled.
Have you tried installing a previous driver and seeing if the problem persists?

Do you have a dual monitor setup? I get a blue screen error whenever I try to run 3d mode if both monitors are connected and sli is enabled.

Yes I DO have a dual monitor setup! I'll disconnect one and try again tonight, thanks! Still, seems like a shame that I have to do that....

YEP. I've tried the same setup on TWO different systems. When both DVI ports have a monitor plugged in I get BSOD if SLI is enabled. If I disable SLI, or unplug the second monitor I have NO problems whatsoever. NVIDIA, this is a bug, please let us know that you are aware of it!!

I can absolutely confirm this as I tested it last night. If you have a second monitor installed, you are unable to play games in SLI and 3d Vision. You can disable SLI, or unplug a monitor. Please Nvidia, dual monitors are very common now. Please acknowledge and work towards fixing this bug in the near future. Thanks!

From what people have said before,
Rember guys this is a user to user forum. So subit a offical trouble ticket so the right people know about the issue.
and lol this is gonna effect me then when i get my 3d kit :(
Everyone responding please give system sig, especially which OS you are using.
I am running SLI 285s + GTS250 dedicated PhysX and have no problems whatsoever using dual monitor and multiple games.
This may be a Windows7 specific problem.
You still can't run Crisis in Windows7. Given my experience with Vista 2 years ago I can tell you it is best not to use a new OS until at least SP1.

Yeah, but are you running a dual monitor setup with both monitors plugged into your card?
