Assetto Corsa Competizione and 3D vision fix

As suggested by Losti (and thanks a lot for your help) I'm opening a dedicated thread. The game runs with UE4. Problems for me still there with the UE4 universal fix by HDR was: - grass and sand details including puddles on sand when raining: they seems 2D. Better seen with foliage setting to medium (3d grass is removed with this) - marbles aka little tyre rubber pieces on track (they are there outside ideal racing line). seem 2D. - at night lit objects and spots are not the same for left and right eye (see the first grandstand construction you are facing at the end of the straight in nurb track... - (maybe the same problem as above) light spots from lamps on the ground are not correct (Light sources are ok though), the same for front car light. - reflections on some objects: for now I only see this in the glass wall on the left at the end of the straight. - tyre smoke and dust (maybe rain spray also?) are 2D I think - sun glare on cars Losti made this mod for the UE4 fix here https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1035614/3d-vision/universal-fixes/post/5873431/#5873431 But I'm not sure if it's ok. Yesterday i only have had a Quick look @it. I will Check the remaining things today. I think some regex are wrong or applyed twice. I can care about it in approx 2h. You can set z in the constants section to 0 to have ui at screen depth if i finished it.

I do not own this game, but plan on picking it up much later in development when it is pretty stable and has more content/support. But I appreciate you taking a look at it so early on in early access Losti!!!

DAMN i hate racing games....i am unable to get the car start "driving" .... hä? Can you assist me i need to move arround ^^ just a little update, ziozeus please update your post which remaining effects are fixed and which one are left or new. maybe you have to set realism with auto clutch auto ignition and keyboard as driving peripheral. press F2 for help and key list in cockpit. also press F1 for changing view so to have a wider look. I'm checking your wip 0.2... but will come later... I'm busy now! - Also I forgot to mention that onboard lcd digits were to much in depth after your 0.1 fix

I should mention that i have only fixed a light shader. Will See if i am able to move the car tomorrow to have a look @ the other things.

Hello, I would like to try the 3DVision on videoprojector, with 3DTVPLay, and so in 1280x720, but ACC remains at 120Hz, would you have a tweak to force 60Hz? thank you

I have reviwed the universal fix for UE4 games (updated) vs losti fix and I would say that the normal fix is less distracting: Among the problems the first one in the list is the real game breaker - 2D texture for grass and sand details including marbles (little black dirt particles on the asphalt) and puddles offtrack when raining. - at night lit objects and spots are not the same for left and right eye (see the first grandstand construction you are facing at the end of the straight in nurb track... - (maybe the same problem as above) light spots from lamps on the ground are not correct (Light sources are ok though), the same for front car light. - tyre smoke and dust are 2D - reflections on some objects: for now I only see this in the glass wall on the left at the end of the straight. - little white points of sun glare on cars are at the wrong depth
I have reviwed the universal fix for UE4 games (updated) vs losti fix and I would say that the normal fix is less distracting:

[s]Have updated the WIP. I have done some mistake for the Object RegEx adaption that breakes many things. Please try this WIP and report back the remaining Issues. I know its not perfect...there are reflection issues left and that grass overlapping. Fixed the problem with the gras overlay, and some other things. There is a problem left with some mirroring/reflection/light in some case.....cannto fix this (but its not disturbing in my eyes)

Also wich the sun reflection @ the car in some cases.

PLEASE report back if this version is playable for you. if YES i will care about the UI. I cannot see any disturbing problems but i havnt played the game....

Please check the different scenes like day/night/rainy etc....

Thanks alot Losti for the Fix it looks very good now the only problem i found was when you drive against ai then is the rear view mirror there but it gets divided when setting the convergence or seperation so its hard to see what the other cars do behind you. I hunted the shader for the rearview mirror but its also part of some landscape shader so i dont know if its fixable?.

I hunted the shader for the rearview mirror but its also

Can i get a screenshot? I cant drive that car hence i have a problem to hunt that shader...i will always crash the car against something...i think this is because i hate raceing games and this is spmething like a realistic one. can you discripe how i can see this effect?? Do you have tryed to lower the mirrowing effects in the options? May set it to something lower than epic will help???
