Windows Live Messenger...3 sec Black Screen in 3D mode !
While in 3D mode with 3D Vision Hardware (Samsung 2233rz + 3D Vision Glasses), game, photo viewer or movie player.
If Windows Live Messenger is on, and somebody messages you, the screen goes black for 3 seconds every time.
Sometimes it even goes black while not receiving a message when Windows Live Messenger is on.
(Tested with 2 friends, all on similar systems with 3D Vision Hardware)
Last 3 Nvidia main drivers and 3D Vision drivers, all affected.

i recommend turning on "Change status to busy and block messenger notifications" or whatever it it in the options menu.
it doesnt do this to me, and I'm guessing that's why

While i was surfing this forum for a problem i had my eye fell on the post from mr bob3D , he has exact the same problem I have with the 3d goggles en windows live messenger.
Every time someone types to me in messenger while im gaming my whole screen goes black for 5 seconds it even does that sometimes when NOBODY is typing so the only solution i found sofar is to
turn it of but as you can understand that is rather annoying ( friends cant contact you anymmore)....whats the story behind this and why does it do that is my question here ???

But I'm afraid it doesn't help.
The option: "Show me as "Busy" and block my alerts when I'm running a full-screen program or presentation",
is the same as turning it off, so for me it's totally useless, and I use it for voice also on a regular base.
The whole purpose of a "Instant Messaging Program" is that ppl can message or reach you all the time, even in a full-screen game or a movie .
Haven't tried with the away or Busy setting option (behind Log-In name) though, I'll do that later.
