Hello,
First of all thank you for the great technique.
i bought a dell xps 15 with the geforce 540m some weeks ago. on your site there is said that the 540m supports 3d vision. so i got a new display today, the acer gn245hqbmid. The reason i bought this display is because it supports 3d via hdmi. It has also a built in emitter and a pair of original nvidia 3d vision glasses. on the corner there is a sticker which says "nvidia 3d vision ready". so i think the hardware should conform to the requirements.
i connected the notebook via hdmi with the display. "3dtv play" works fine. on youtube for example i can watch videos in 3d. that looks great by the way. but the main issue i want to use 3dvision for, is to work with sony vegas pro 11 that can work with 3dvision but not only with 3dvision pro. but i can´t get the 3d to work with the program. so i looked for a problem in the control panel and there is said that only 3dtv play is activated, but not 3dvision. but it should work, shouldn´t it? picture:

can anybody help me with that problem? as i said the glasses are the original nvidia 3d vision glasses. here is a link for the display:

thank you for your help and sorry if there are some mistakes in the text, i am from germany.

Nvidia 3D Vision will not engage via HDMI when it sees that the display is 1.4 compliant, 3DTV Play engages. Even at that, you can not do 1080P@60 per eye over HDMI. You need to connect to the monitor via the DVI-D (dual link) connector for Nvidia 3D Vision. Also, I do not see your GPU listed on the requirement page http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-system-requirements.html

You are right, the link you gave clearly states that it is 3D Vision ready. It must have been inadvertently ommited during the recent revamping of the requirement page.

you are right, the gpu isn´t listed there. i think there are only notebooks that supply 3dvision with their own screen.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/product-geforce-gt-540m-us.html
when you look at that link you see the 540m is marked for 3d vision ready. or am i wrong?
