using official patch and get options for 3D - is there supposed to be an actual "3D Vision' setting along with 'SBS' & 'ON?'
I ask because I can't get 3D to work, it kicks in but the screen remains blank, can hear it running and can move the cursor for menu items as well.
I am running 3D Surround and a fresh install of the latest driver 362.00, been messing with this all day!
CM mode worked fine, but can't get this. I will prob use your Fix, but i'd like to solve this and check it out first.
So, anyone else with a black screen after 3D enabled?

unfortunaly, ALT F1 doesn't work anymore on my pc since I'm on passive 4k overided TV, I can't take any 3d pics, but basically the crosshair is 2D like in TR 2013 before they official patched if you remembered.
But as I see that Losti has proper 3d crosshair, I will reapply the fix and go for installing the 362 new geforce driver and let you know ;)

With the registry change i have the same result...i think is related to the game optimization, is not the half ot the performance, but there is an impact.
About the Crosshair, here is a screenshot...was taken with Left Trigger pressed (i noticed you have in the ini defined the left trigger)....when i press the Left Trigger the Crosshair and the HUD is moving to a different depth....so something is happen there, but not dynamic.

Yes the PureHair impact is there... I don't think they optimized it in later versions, they just don't render it each frame like 3D Vision Automatic does;)
I see that is in Syria... Can you progress past that area and see if is working afterwards? I noticed in some locations the shader that I am using to sample the depth buffer is not available and added a "safety" mechanism there. Once you get back to Siberia, I am wondering if you see the same!
It might be required to search for a different shader there... (Damn SHADER GENERATOR engine...)

I'm using Purhair = off (tested like that with the patch#4 and community fix). I OC a little the GPU and use FXAA and now i get back the fps.
Maybe getting the depth buffer from the AO? will be rare if the game dump different shader from AO.
i will progress in game to see if the crosshair works.
In the ini you have another hash commented....maybe using that hash in Syria?

Same here, I would say that crosshair is not dynamic and depth is fix to infinite (when I aim an near object, I have doubled crosshair and when I aim far away I have one crosshair)

No, I think the depth buffer scale is wrong. I see the shader I am using is a "generalistic" one used for lighting. So the depth buffer is available there.
I also noticed that aim real close or real far does change the depth but only by a little. Which means the info from the depth buffer is coming but is not scaled properly... Hmm.. need to take another look.

NEW Update is out!
Fixed:
- PureHair Rendering
- PureHair Lighting and Shadows
(PureHair doesn't work properly under SLI... No matter what I tried it simply doesn't :( The left eye will be de-synced with the Right eye)
- PureHair Coloring/Specularity should also be fixed. (Didn't had the time to fully test this. Colour inversion seems to be fixed as well).
Just re-download the FIX and replace the "Shaders" folder:)
PS: Don't go over the ON option on PureHair or your FPS will be "murdered" ^_^

Thank you guys for the fix!
I've tested both the patch and the fix and the fix looks much better. Great work!
I've been also testing some settings before starting to play and i think the purehair will have to be off because the performance hit in 3D is huge! Unless there is a fix for it, i dont think a single card will handle it.

Hey, I tried the patch to see what it's like. Not too bad but some major stuttering is occurring.
When I ran the game after the devs patch it said that the profile needs to be changed and it did so.
Now that I would like to try the community fix, do I have to reinstall drivers to get the profile back to original before apply the community fix??
Thanks

The major stuttering is described in the original post. Nothing we can do about it. It only happens rarely when the game is switching shaders. Overall our fix is much more "complete", but if you are happy with the official fix you are welcome to use that one;) Some people like to be more casual, while others more hardcore and don't accept compromises;) (Like the broken Lighting... /cough)
Also: lower the setting of the damn "PureHair Simulator" and you will see things are way better.. (That stuff shouldn't have made it in the game in the first place if you ask me... Instead we should have get CLASSIC rendered hair...Not the "dancing" normal hair we have ^_^ But nobody asked me...so;))) Joke aside, PureHair is a massive FPS killer unfortunately...)
Sadly I don't know what to answer to your question though:(

Yeah Using it on ON setting is acceptable. On very High it will simply kill your GPU:(
The bad news is that under SLI is out of sync between the left & right eye. But in Surround + SLI is working perfectly fine as is on a single GPU... We have seen this before and is related to a bug/different behavior of SLI between single & multi screens... It was never addressed:( As well as other issues related to SLI + Surround + 3D Vision + Windows 10..sadly:( (Which is why I keep both Win10 and Win7 installed;))

I've tested both the patch and the fix and the fix looks much better. Great work!
I've been also testing some settings before starting to play and i think the purehair will have to be off because the performance hit in 3D is huge! Unless there is a fix for it, i dont think a single card will handle it.

Has anyone managed to get sweetfx working with the community fix?
Yeah Using it on ON setting is acceptable. On very High it will simply kill your GPU:(
The bad news is that under SLI is out of sync between the left & right eye. But in Surround + SLI is working perfectly fine as is on a single GPU... We have seen this before and is related to a bug/different behavior of SLI between single & multi screens... It was never addressed:( As well as other issues related to SLI + Surround + 3D Vision + Windows 10..sadly:( (Which is why I keep both Win10 and Win7 installed;))
