3dTV play 1080p 60hz for gaming works! solution and questions.

When using the line interleave mode, the TV will not be aware it's receiving 3D content. The TV will be running in it's normal 2D mode, with all the picture enhancing feature on. In order to get 3D working you must run the resolution at the exact native TV resolution (RGB output, NOT YUV422) and switch all "picture improvement" filters off (including sharpening). Failure to do so will make the TV mix the lines (mix the left and right eye views). Try and see if this improves your situation.

I am trying the 1080 resolution. The problem is everytime I install this ACER driver and I want to return back to normal I need to do a complete system restore. Even after re-installing the generic monitor driver back, nvidia control panel still shows and recognize the Acer monitor. Check this screenshot, it looks like 3D in the image but when i put the glasses makes no difference. https://www.dropbox.com/s/5eqjhc4xfcx694s/IMG_1117.JPG?dl=0

Try "uninstall driver" on the monitor you have used the EDID and it should return to generic plug and play display. Then you need to reboot the computer so that the Nvidia driver reloads the EDID and uses the correct data. That's what I do and I recover my normal configuration. If your picture was correct you should see the distinct lines that separate the left and right eye channels (they are clearly visible even without glasses). Take the TV remote and press whatever "options menu" button you have here and browse through EVERY possible picture setting menu and sub-menu to disable all the picture enhancement stuff. You must turn your TV into a monitor : the display must respect every single pixel it receives and display it exactly how the computer is outputting it.
How do I know the native resolution and turn off these filters?
The native panel resolution is in your TV spec sheet. The filters are part of the TV settings, you access them using the TV remote. I don't know your particular TV, but as a guess, I'd say you'll have to switch off at least creative frame interpolation (the 120/240Hz smooth motion stuff) and the sharpening filter (in most TVs I've seen, the "zero" sharpening filter setting does not mean off, it actually represents 50% sharpening).

The TV's user manual at the web site you have linked talks about additional picture options like "edge enhancer" (this would be my main suspect). Also your TV appears to have an overarching "picture mode" that has a strong effect on the picture settings available. Try setting this mode to "gaming" mode (usually turns off most of the processing straight away to reduce input lag)

The problem was the aspect ratio, i had set to 16:9, when i changed the option to "Just Scan" the TV automatically adjusted the screen to the correct aspect ratio and it is working now, but it seems i have another issue. The crosstalk is just insane, i have changed the settings on the TV but it wont get any better. Could it be the ACER .inf file that is not good for my TV? What could be causing such bad crosstalk that I did not have in 3D TV Play?

The 1:1 pixel match isn't respected. More processing is still interfering (again). Since you had scaling issues, double-check the scaling in the Nvidia control panel too. Also check in the Nvidia control panel that your are outputting the full resolution in RGB colour format and not the sub-sampled YUV422 format

Cannot find the RGB color options, where are they in the control panel? The scaling i think i know, it is that option to adjust the screen size with those vertical and horizontal bars? My control panel is in portuguese so the naming of things sucks... I've just created a .inf for my TV and modified to ACER monitor. I wonder if this will also help with the ghosting? I can see a huge amount of ghosting in both sides of the objects. I tried to install this inf that I created but the nvidia driver did not recognize as Acer Monitor, dont know what is happening, even after trying to intall again the original Acer inf it doesnt work. The blood control panel just wont recognize anyother .inf that I install. Blood thing!!! I will do a system restore again and try another time. Just had enough for today. Do you think this .inf I created would help? https://www.dropbox.com/s/hxsm3phdxiart7p/My%20LG%20TV%20%28Mod%20ACER%29.inf?dl=0 Ok, editing the post... just found the RGB option below the resolution, had to scroll down :P I will try again tomorrow and check these two config options.

Even the game menu which is perfect in 3D TV Play has lot f ghosting. I enabled simulate 3D option in the TV and put zero depth and it did reduced quite a bit of the ghosting but still not good at all, unplayable compared to 3D TV Play. I am out of ideas now... Is it 3D vision and 3D vision play different kind of 3D and the tv just dont have the same result? I makes no sense...

Link with the instructions http://3dvision-blog.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2042 If I put back the extension I might have a problem again? I will try anyway, but just kind of tired of doing system restores. The nvidia control panel never recognize when I change the edid a second time, cant test different edids, everytime I change something is a blood system restore I have to do.
What about screenshots?
Found the solution for the screenshots! The problem was the deny permission in the registry to fix the swap eyes issue. Found this program that does the swap eye with no need to change the windows registry. https://github.com/yong-ja/3dvision-eye-swapper For the hdmi with no audio I will just buy a long RCA audio cable to connect my TV to the PC, most of the time I use a wireless headset anyway. Dont wanna play with .inf files anymore! Geezzzz we need a blog to document all these issues and workarounds to get this to work!!! Anyway, very happy to be able to play 3D in 1080p. Thanks BlackSharkfr for the help!
