3DTV Play noise problem
I've been trying out 3DTV play with my dual 560 Ti setup but have been having problems with the quality of the content being displayed on my Panasonic 50" Viera

When the resolution is set to 720p as this is the highest res possible for 3D gaming with 3DTV Play, I get a horrible grainy effect similar to something you would see in Left4 Dead yet only when there is something in 3D to actually render. It only happens at this resolution regardless of whether 3D is enabled or disabled and also does not appear in the main menu of games. I also tried it with my old 9800GT just to make sure it was not the card itself but the result is the same. I tried a seperate HDMI cable and nothing changed either which makes me beleive it's the software itself that is causing the problem.

The 3D gameplay is great on the few titles I tried but the unwanted noise annoys me at times. Is there a setting of some sort that I'm missing that is causing this to happen?

Hi

I am guessing you are seeing this when you are at your Windows Desktop, right?

This is likely because you are running your desktop in a 3D mode. When you do this, the TV is attempting to adjust its pixel engine for 3D content assuming you are wearing the glasses which you aren't. You can tell if you are running the Windows desktop in 3D mode from the NVIDIA Control Panel > Resolution > and see if you have a mode selected from the "HD 3D" section.

We recommend running the Windows desktop in a HD mode, which is a 2D mode, and wont cause the TVs pixel engine to start in 3D mode. Then just run your games at 1280x720 and our driver initiates that as a 3D mode.

Please read our user guide here and follow the setup instructions http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO-98478.html

Please give this a try and let me know.
