As Bad Company 2 is a "3D Vision ready" (!!!) game there shouldnt be ANY issues! You are losing credibility by putting awarding the game as state of the art although it just does not work!
First, this is DICE's fault, not NVIDIAs. Everyone just blames NVIDIA by default, learn who the responsible party is, Jesus. Second, NVIDIA already has released a statement if you were a little more observant, there has been a note on the games compatibility list page for over a month now stating that DICE broke the crosshair in their latest patch and that NVIDIA is working with DICE to get it sorted for the next patch. The user supplied fix in this thread works just fine. Bunch of crybabies up in here.

Cheezeman,
do you see the note on the compatibility list? http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-3d-games.html No? Fine, me neither! Do I see the note in my driver (latest installed!)? No! There is only the mark as "3D Vision ready"!
And: does the user fix help me play Bad Company 2 in stereo 3d in multiplayer? NO!
I am really sorry for both NVIDIA and DICE for f...... this up, but then they should immediately take BC2 from the "3D Vision ready" list - 3D Vision ready means that you can play it in stereo 3d out of the box without any googling or something. And dont bohther me with the responsibility: I am working in my company on a partner programm, too, and it is both the responsibility of me and my partners on the other side to keep the programm going.

Wow, you are thick! Yes, the note is on that page you linked to, and yes, the fix supplied in this thread allows multiplayer play just fine. Here is the exact note on the page, and I don't know what caused you to think that the fix doesn't support multiplayer...
**The patch 553292 for Battlefield Bad Company 2 is causing the crosshairs in the game to no longer render in 3D. We are working with the developer to fix this issue in a patch that will restore the experience to 3D Vision-Ready for that game.

Cheezeman,
the note is at Battlefield 2, not at Bad Company 2. I understand that this mistake happened, but it does not help those who would decide to buy the game also because of 3d vision support. Concerning the compatibility: google it, there are several problems with some single maps. I am not willing to say "Sry guys, gotta leave, MY version of BC2 will crash immediately after loading that map." :(

To be fair, the note is actually for Bad Company 2. The guy who put it in, however, screwed up and put the correct game name on the note and then put the ** on the wrong game on the list so you are both kinda half right.
As for the workaround, the updated version a few posts back should fix the crashing issue. It's not perfect, but if you want your 3D, it is pretty good and should let you play all of the maps. Keep in mind, I'm not trying to excuse the people who should be officially patching this, just correct some misinformation and help people while we wait. We shouldn't have had to do this in the first place.

The note is at the bottom at the page MadManniMan....
Just give it some more time,I'm sure they will fix the problem...
There hasn't been a patch after the last one,so there probably still working on it,and maybe it's delayed because they keep having trouble with testing the new patch.
I know if you use Crossair (Try to play it without it b.t.w.,..more realistic) is unplayable in 3d ,but it's just a game...
I'm a big Battlefield fan ,and still play it even without the crossair in 3d,..after a little practice ..I have to say I don't miss the crossair it anymore...

The earliest version of the fix did not correct for the newest maps, but the fix in this thread does. I am actually using the fix found here:
because the one in this thread seems to kill s3d for me completely in BC2, although other users seem to be using it OK. The fix I linked to works 100% fine for me though on all multiplayer maps, check it out.

Again, there are 2 community fixes, the first one has problems with some maps because it just uses the older pre-patch packages.mft, but the 2nd one provided here changes the newer packages.mft and changes the lines to re-link the 3D assets: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1110713
This is DICE's problem to fix, plain and simple, as others have already linked to you Nvidia is aware of the problem and is working with DICE to get a fix out. Nvidia is not going to patch DICE's game even if they wanted to they probably couldn't, and DICE definitely broke 3D Vision with their last patch. Going back to your own anecdote about partnerships, if you shipped a product in collaboration with someone else, you design it, someone else executes it. If you deliver on your end of the bargain and your partner later comes in and breaks things and the customer complains and demands support, who is the first party you are going to call to fix it?

Bunch of crybabies up in here.

do you see the note on the compatibility list? http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-3d-games.html No?
