Oh I forgot about the other post but I got it working THNX so MUCH...
I do have 1 Flight simulator it is NOT working on it is DCSW... Now the thing is you can DL the base module and get 1 plane for free if you would want to help me troubleshoot Why your Fix does NOT work in that Simulator..
So Far It worked in TESO, ArmA2, F4:BMS... It is DCSW and probally the way it starts as it minimizes then reloads the Main screen several times..
Do you think there is any OTHER Way to implement a fix like this where we can set the Monitor Size, Having NVidia put the option will be optimal NOT sure why they took it out in the first place..
I am not holding my Breath for nVida to fix it so I believe we are on our own here.. here is a Link the the DCSW If you would like to test it for yourself.. IT comes with the Map module and 1 Free Plane.. Don't worry if you don't know how to fly you can do instane Action and start on the ground just to test..:

RAGEdemon, you have set the monitorsize value to 30, should this vary depending on the size of the user's monitor screen?
and how does one undo the 'permanent' depth hack changes and set it back to the nvidia default 100% ?
Sorry for being a year late to reply. I only remembered this thread when someone posted about it on another thread recently :)
As for your first question: anything you want. The smaller the value, the higher the depth. I would personally start with something half my monitor size.
As for resetting, all you have to do is to run "allow" which unlocks the registry keys. Once you load up a game, the monitor size values will be reset to the standard nVidia value, whatever that may have been for your particular monitor.

Does this hack not work well with some games. I wanted added depth for my 84" projector setup. It worked very well with Fallout 3 but not as all well with Middle Earth SOM or Bioshock infinate, the 3d is completely messed up when I change the MomitorSize key, when I put the setting back to default they look fine again. at the moment I am just alt tabbing out and changing the setting just to see how the effect looks. the default value I have is 220, i have been halving that and working my way up, 140 gives me a really nice setting in fallout 3. I am using driver 344.75 which has been working well with middle earth

Are you also adjusting convergence?

Are you installing community fixes?

yep am using the fixes and convergence. Like I say, the depth fix works well with fallout 3, its just odd the other games completely fall apart, everything is at wrong depth and looks corrupted but when i put the setting back to default they work fine.
Thanks

Some of the community fixes use presets for convergence.
Are you using the wrong preset?
I've only used the depth hack a few times in games that I couldn't get any depth, so I'm not speaking from experience by any means.
You could also try using an alternate game profile, it may help.
The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that you might not have set your Depth/Separation to 100% prior to finding a sweet spot in Fallout 3 and it's fix isn't defining Separation in a/the DX9Settings.ini. So when you play a game that is defining it in the fix it's going well beyond(100%) what you had set it by using MonitorSize only to adjust Depth(15%).
Edit: Just took a peek at the Fallout 3 fix and it doesn't define Separation, so it's most likely the problem. Set Depth to 100%(Ctrl+F3) and then find a new sweet spot. :)

fallout is working great, its Middle Earth SOM that is giving me problems. When I alt tab back into the game after making the adjustment the depth is there but shadows are messed up as well as a bunch of other things. Like you say, maybe its not defining the fix in the ini file, everything looks displaced.
anyway this fix is basically mandatory for me I think on my 84" screen. I was close to giving up on 3D with my projector as I just couldn't get decent depth, or that "being there" feel. but Fallout with with this fix has changed my mind. Its bloody awesome, feels like the wasteland is in my lounge. Thats the effect I want in other games so I hope I am able to resolve the issue!
