Thanks, joker18. We really appreciate your efforts to perfect this EDID mod. Which baseline color format do you recommend with this update (RGB or YCbCr), or does automatic change to color space make default setting irrelevant?
Just in case anyone interested.
I modified a bit the previous 65E6V Edid.
The previous one didn't accept 2160@60hz in some games, just 2160@59,94 which apparently my TV didn't really like. It had stuttering.
This one also support 7.1 PCM (for receivers) and works properly with default color setting in Nvidia control panel. Switches automatically to proper color space depending on content (HDR/SDR).
PS: This also got rid of the weird inputlag variations I was having, now it is a steady inputlag both HDR and SDR game mode. Compared to my IPS monitor it has 30 ms, so I think real inputlag is 40-45ms. I can't explain why it doesn't match the Rtings measurement.

Thank you very much joker .. the 7.1 and the automatic switching between color space sound wonderful
I’ll try this in couple of days..

Happy I'm able to contribute somehow.
Automatic color space is OK, as far as I have seen, in all instances.
Previously I used 4:2:2 10bit to be able to use HDR in supported games but with this setting I had issues when using 2560x1440 resolution.

Nop sorry, I don't know how to add atmos.
Probably have to mod a receiver EDID but I'm no sure it will work.
My receiver does not support Atmos, still I do have the option in windows but I found nothing in the EDID.
I decided to upgrade my set and get a 3D OLED as they are going to dissapear from the market soon.
I got the 65 E6V at a great price. The set is amazing. Picture quality is great.
Inputlag..... here I have to say the reviews are misleading. Inputlag is very variable +-15ms.
The inputlag in gamemode is not 34ms as in teh reviews. It is true that sometimes it goes down to this value but mainly it is 50ms just like my 55UC970. The bad thing is i measured ocasional +15ms compared to the UC970.
Sometimes I can feel the variation.
I tried different firmware versions with same result.
In case someone is interested in an updated Edid for OLED65E6V. HDR- 3D also works. (find attached)

Hi, thank you for this!
Will it work on the 55c6v fine or it's for 65 only?
Hi Joker 18
I have an EDID modification of you, prior to this publication, working at this time in my first tests with my TV LG 55UH950v european model. (thank you for this)
A question hovering over my head, which I would like to resolve if possible:
Would it be possible to quickly move from this personalized EDID to the official EDID of our TV and vice versa without the need to disconnect cabling and new installations from the device panel? I use Win 10 Fall Creator Update.
regards

I don't have the game but check the resolution and refresh rate, you might be running it on an unsupported res.
Also check that 3D is not stuck in active mode.

Wait.. you are joker and dont have the Batman games? lol , anyways, 3840x2160 is an option by default in game, I dont have my emitter plugged in, so I dont think its in active mode. The game has a 3d vision on/off switch in the settings. I have it kept on. Played around with refresh rate settings with no luck.

I tried the game at 3840x2160, every setting at max (except motion blur, off), 3D enabled in game settings with a 3DTV and everything works good, no issues.

Hi all,
I have the LG C6V. Thanks to Soundblstr for the instructions on getting 3D vision working. However, the problem I have is that 3D vision only works in 2160p. I'm still running 880M's in SLI and will only upgrade when the next gen cards come out - Therefore I'd still like to play some games in 1080p interleaved. When I try this, I see the 2 images, but the glasses do not create the 3D image. It only does this in 2160p. Any suggestions on how to get this working for 1080p as well as 2160p?
Thanks!

Hi djgrege,
It's not only the fact that you have older cards. Even with the most powerful hardware money can currently buy, 3D Vision in 4K is a stretch. I have an LG 4K OLED, and a new PC and in many games I'm struggling. Plus, many games are not optimised anyway.
Try the Upscaling feature at D-Man's link.
An easier solution is to use the SBS custom shader. Most game fixes support it and the shaderhackers explain how to turn it on.
It's just finding a line in the ini file, in the PRESENT section, and uncommenting it. Then you press F11 in the game to select the desired mode (Side by Side, Top and Bottom, etc).
Then you press the 3D button on your TV and select the same mode.
For me, it introduces a sort of eye desync which I hate. Upscaling does not do that but has issues with mouse not scaling over the same screen window, and it does not work in all games.
If you get upscaling to work in a game, please update the link above, to let everyone know.
Happy gaming
