Traditionally, the game maker (or publisher) lists the minimum and recommend hardware specifications.

Game performance depends on more than only the video card. I certainly dont expect nvidia to run performance tests with hundreds/thousands of old and new hardware combinations (cpu,motherboard,ram,video card,monitor) for hundreds/thousands of games, and rate the performance for each game at different settings.

The closest thing I found to what I described above is called the "3D Profile"

In nvidia control panel,

click on "adjust image settings with preview"

Choose "Use the advanced 3D image settings"
Click "apply"

Then, click "Take me there" or "Manage 3D setttings"

Choose the game from the pull-down menu.
