Samsung Plasma and TotalMediaTheatre 3 problems with Blu-ray
Hi,
today tried new Nvidia 260.89 drivers and got problem with blu-ray movies. The panel is switching to 3D mode itself, but can't get 3D working. The image is blured/doubled, just like 3D without glasses.
In Total Media Theater have selected 3D Ready HDTV mode.
Anybody knows the solution of this problem?

Of course it's done. The tv goes to 3D mode, 3D glasses is working but no 3D image.

Would like to ask if somebody successfully use Total Media Theater 3 with new drivers and Samsung plasma?

Total Media 3 is not yet compatible with HDMI 1.4 bluray3D playback, only Power DVD 10 2213. So, if you choose HDTV 3D Ready for Total Media 3 settings, this is meant for checkerboard format used in 3D DLP's TV's, not the new HDMI 1.4 frame packing format. But don't worry, if you have a Samsung 3D TV, they are all compatible with checkerboard format, just have in mind, that the quality is not as good as bluray 3D, cause you won't get 1920 x 1080 per eye, only 960 x 1080. But it's still a good alternative to watch bluray3D in checkerboard format, if you don't have a bluray3D home player or Power DVD 10 2213. By the way, I have this version of Power DVD 10 2213, and bluray3D doesn't work for me, as our TV's are left out of the requiremt list for 3DTV Play and bluray3D, so it doesn't fully works, Nvidia drivers don't like our Samnung 3D TV's. Bluray3D used to work with drivers beta 260.89, not with WHQL.
I have a Samsung C6900 bluray3D player, so I don't really care, in the other hand I'm still waiting for 3DTV Play support.

To use checkerboard format, you must connect your graphics card to the HDMI/DVI 1 input on your Sammy 3D Plasma, if so, you'll have 7 layout 3D options, instead of just 3. Just use your Samsung remote control, press 3D, and choose the 6th layout option from left to right. Have fun!!!!!
