3D vision player won't work
  1 / 2
HI

I have just purchased the nVIDIA 3D vision kit bundle with samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ and FX3700 graphics card.

I am usind a 3D mapping program which is working well.

I have tried to use the 3D stereo vision player with the supplied .wmv file (GEForce 3D Vision Experience.wmv)

All I get is a black screen and the player just seems to lock up.

I tried installing the Klite codec mega pack 5.9 but it still will not play.

If I try to play the file using Media Player Classic. It plays with a split screen effect with L/R images displayed. Before it runs it gives a error msg which I

have attached.

Any help appreciated

Why don`t you try 3D Vision Player for 3D videos? MPC isn`t 3D compatible.

I should have said I tried MPC to make sure the file would run and was not corrupted that's all.

As i did say, the file will not run under the 3D vision player.

any other ideas.

You could try using ffdshow. The default configuration should pick up the PCM stream :) If not, run the 'ffdshow audio decoder configuration' from the Start Menu, go to the 'Codecs' page and enable the all 'ADPCM' codecs.

I selected ffdshow in the 3D vision players settings.

I take it you mean to run the configuration from the KLITE program. I activates all the ADPCM entries, but still no luck!!

I don't know how the K-LITE codec pack handles things, but I do know you're better off without it. ffdshow + haali media splitter can pretty much decode anything you throw at it.

Did you select a default sound card which is connected/available in the Control Panel? The audio decoding seems to have been done properly (WMAudio decoder DMO is in the graph) and PCM is pretty much 'plain' audio. Which sound card are you using? Are you using Windows XP?
