Will a 9800GTX+ be enough?

I'm not exactly following that chart very well. Are you saying I should get a new mobo and a new 9800GTX+ and SLI? I don't have a strong enough PSU and I think I'd jjust rather get a 470 GTX.

If your a fan of mediocre performance then yes your fine. If you are one of those guys who has to have everything maxxed then no way. Older games should run fine but if u try bc2 or anything else that's recent or demanding you will be upset. I only recommend 3d vision to people who have more than enough power, if you have to question it then your likely to be setting yourself up for a disappointment. If you have crap cards your gonna have a crap experience.

Yes so if I am fine with medium settings and I don't care about AA then I'll be fine? I'd rather have the 3D experience rather than slightly better graphics. I honestly cant tell much of a difference between maxed settings with max AA vs medium-high settings no AA. So if I am able to play TF2 and AC2 on medium high with 3D I'll be much more than happy.

Actually you don't even really need aa with 3d vision because it creates sort of a similar effect anyway. Tf2 should run fine, I dunno bout ac2 though, u may have some issues with performance.

I wasn't happy with 1 GTX260 my self, and this is lower so I'd have to say no...but if you dont mind playing on low settings or 2007 or earlier games, it should be fine.

Alright thanks for the input, think I'll get the kit now and upgrade the GPU in 2 months if I am not satisfied.

hmmm, I have a i5 with a gtx 260 and I can run lots of games about at max quality reasonably well. I think key factor for me is that my h5360 can't go further than 720p on 3d, and that lowers a lot the performance required for high quality settings. A 98000gtx+ is basically a gtx250, which isn't that much inferior than a gtx 260 at low resolutions, so imho with a 98000gtx+ , at low resolutions, and with other than the more demanding games (metro 2033, bc2, ac2 sorry that is resource heavy, gta4, stalker cs, etc) at medium settings, you'll do fine with lots of games in 3d at low resolution and high settings (dragon age, burnout, tomb raider underworld, dead space, prince of persia 2008, etc). However your cpu may be a bottletneck too.

I'm getting a q6600 and 9800gtx+ myself tested next week with this same 3d setup, so I can check for you how does it fare.
