Can I play games without lagging? I can play pretty much every new game without lagging, sometimes i just need to turn settings a bit low. I have a 9800gt and a 3.2ghz quad core proccessor. I hear that the 3d can ruin your frame rate so i need to know if i can run without lag.

It depends also on what you want to play and the level of details you find acceptable. If you have one of the older 1680x1050 3D monitors, you will already gain some fps over the 1920x1080 ones (the lower resolution helps, as always); if you drop all the details to Low you will also gain another substantial boost in performance. It must be said, though, that even these tricks can't do miracles, and an old, yet glorious, 9800 is not up to the task if you want to play the latest games with an acceptable level of details.
Your cpu is perfectly fine.
If I were you, I would start looking for a newer vga along with the monitor. The 5xx series is fine, and even its low-level models are acceptable. As Ferry rightfully stated, when 3D is enabled you gpu must render each frame twice, so a good vga is recommended. If you can afford them, the 570 and 580 are perfect for this. A custom 570, or even simply a 560, with a special cooler would help with the heat (these latest models run extremely hot compared to older cards) and would serve you well through at least one or two years of gaming.
We already have to lower the details in the games as time passes because the requirements keep increasing every year: remember that the importance of this problem is doubled for 3D Vision.

hey guys, do not scare him too much, lol. 3D Vision is very very very nice even with middle-range specifications; the trick is to turn off many options like vertical synchro, shadows and dynamic lighting and so on in order to get satisfying framerate, however some games (like Fallout 3, Dungeon Siege 3, Mafia 2 or even Crysis 2) give you excellent results about 3D effects even if you lower visual settings.

Well, your GFX card is on low end for 3D Vision.
As Ferry mentioned, expect drop of framerate of about 30-50% due to 3D Vision.
If you had 50FPS, you'll have 25-30 -ish FPS with 3D Vision.
Depends what you play.
You might consider getting a bit better GFX card, or at least be prepared for it if your proves to be a bit on slow side.
