The Division 2

Hopefully if they do that for TD2, they'll do that for TD1 since that's what I currently own and can do whatever testing/tweaking necessary. Not buying TD2 until I'm damn well certain we can at least get basic CM working.

DJ-RK, I don't think they will change anything for Div 1. The patch notes specifically mention Div 2 only. (https://www.dsogaming.com/news/the-division-2-update-3-release-notes-operation-dark-hours-better-ultra-aa-text-chat-improvements-more/) I was curious about the AA settings, and since I don't want to install the game again for the Public Test realm I looked up the subject on the net. It turns out you can disable TAA from C:\Users\USER\Documents\My Games\Tom Clancy's The Division 2, file is called graphic settings.cfg. Just change the TAA = 3 entry to 0. Unfortunately the 3D Vision behaviour is the same, both DX11 and DX12 - left eye graphics are simply not drawn. And Compatibility Mode does not switch on. So the TAA is not the culprit here, it seems. Also note that removing TAA has a severe impact on game performance, to the point that it makes you realise they simply cannot do without it to keep the game playable. The visuals are too ambitious, but ironically the only way to play it smoothly is with this horrid TAA on, which hides the visuals and applies heavy blur to everything, doing a great disservice to the the beauty of the world they created. Also, because I fiddled with all these settings, the game no longer wants to display full screen in any other resolution than the native 4K, which makes me not able to play it anymore. Any other resolution simply has the full screen shrunk down - yet still calls it "full screen". It might have something to do with the fact I'm using OLED TV with EDID, but it used to work fine before I started playing around with the options. [s]If anyone knows how to solve this, please let me know.[/s] EDIT Solved itself after a couple of restarts.

Found other people claiming that one of the updates made it so the game override and overwrite the graphics settings.cfg file, and that they were no longer able to disable TAA via this method any longer. At this point I've just resigned to the notion that this franchise is never going to be 3D compatible again.

I can't even get superdepth3D working in Division 2. The depth map is just a black screen no matter what I try, I have it working in ACreed and Wildlands so I was hoping Division 2 would be possible. So frustrating when your mind can see how amazing the game would look in 3D, but the engine won't let you play it in any kind of 3D!!! Damn you Ubisoft and your impressive 2D game engines!
