Has anyone found a good convergence/depth setup for FSX?
I noticed there are two enviroments to be rendered in 3d
1.cockpit/outside aircraft
2. Outside landscape objects
With default 3D Vision depth the virtual cockpits look good, but the outside enviroment isn't popping out in 3d at all.
So I started messing with convergence and got the outside enviroment to pop out in 3d,
but in turn it splits the 3d cockpit enviroments.
Is it impossible to have both using 3D Vision?
Seems to only get one with out the other.
Btw with some increased convergence the landscape really comes alive,
especially when you look down and see the traffic on roads..I mean everything sticks out and looks like a mini realistic world

You will bind your "view change" buttons to your convergence presets. So, when you press "external view" you get the proper convergence preset. It works perfectly...good luck! :)

my aircraft cockpit and outside views apart to the point they aren't on the screen.
