1080p 3D Projector Options? Optoma HD200-X (£800)??
I've just discovered the Optoma HD200-X which is 1080p and costs only £200 more than most 3D 720p projectors. I've also read that its possible this projector will get a firmware update to allow 3D.
Does anyone know anything about this projector or any other 1080p ones. I'd really like 120" 1080p 3D but having no luck with Google.

Given that Optoma also said that a firmware update was on the cards for the HD65 over a year ago I don't think it's ever going to happen.
I think the folks at Optoma couldn't figure a way for the enduser to firmware upgrade there machines without the risk of bricking them which killed the whole project off.

Ok, so that would mean new models for 3D? Yet I fail to see any 1080p 3D projectors. Thinking about it, 1080p 3D requires Dual-DVI, but that shouldn't be preventing us from getting cheap 1080p 3D projectors.

As I understand it. The Ti chipset used in the current crop of 720p projectors is currently not available at 1080p or only just being made available. I expect 1080p projectors to be available before the years end.

I assume that its more of a issue of requiring Dual-DVI. The current chipset probably doesn't support Dual-DVI.
If only nVidia supported Passive-3D (Other than the Zalman Monitor I own) so we could buy 2x 1080p Projectors and have brilliant 3D.
