You have heard of ShamWOW - Nothing Compares to 3D Vision WOW!
Hi,
I am back and I am extremely impressed with 3d Vision.
The games I have tested that worked fantastic:
Bioshock
Devil May Cry 4
Lost Planet
GRID
Left For Dead
Far Cry 2
Resident Evil 5 Benchmark
Medusa Demo
etc etc...
I played with the depth settings and found that the default of 15% is really good.. I did play around with the depth controls and very little on the convergence which I did not really need to do.
The games that really impressed me alot have been, Devil May Cry 4, GRID and Far Cry 2. They are totally new games and the immersion is unbelievable.
I am in the process of upgrading my pc to a i7 processor and the such so I am extremely broke :(
But, I have to say this I originally had my computer connected to a 37" screen and thought that was the bomb until I hooked it up to the nvidia bundle that it blew me away and I do not miss the 37" at all which is amazing in itself. That is how good the immersion is.
I two negatives:
1) Really kills you frame rate at high rez I had to find a good alternative rez to play 3d vision games. I use 1280 x 800 with 4xAA and all settings up and it looks awesome for me.
2) Flickering can be a prob with sli enabled and evga precision installed.

Woot! Glad to hear you got your setup and that you're loving it. :D
You won't miss that 37" screen ever. ;) Like we said, it's not even a question. At least not until there's a 37" 120Hz LCD available... ;)
Stick with the default 15% screen depth for a while, but once your eyes get good & used to it, don't be afraid to turn it up. I settled on around 60% most of the time for most games, but it took me a few weeks to get there without straining my eyes. Other people find their comfort level higher or lower, just depends on your own eyes & setup.

I think that this technology is the biggest leap in gaming since the Voodoo card. I'm still blown away every time I game and have had my screen and glasses for over a couple of months. Nvidia really needs a big market push and get this out to the masses.
I will never go back to gaming on a 60hz LCD again. I only use my 24" for the Internet.

Welcome to the S3D addict club and gratz on the new toys.
TBH, S3D gaming has been the only reason for my hardware upgrades in the last 15 years and that also stopped with Nvidia abandoning XP S3D support about 5 years ago. Now that Nvidia is back with 3DVision, I've since bought 3DVision glasses, a 61" DLP TV, a GTX 285, and today just finished building a i7 system with SLI GTX285. All that for S3D gaming, you will find that's how addicting this S3D crap is as you grow more and more depending on it for your gaming fix and even dream about it when you go to sleep while it's still there waiting for you in the next room. What's bad is that it will still happen years and years later. /w00t.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':w00t:' />

So very true. Even if i'm using other s-3d hardwares than 3d-vision there's no way back to a flat world in front of the computer.
