Desktop fonts messed up after viewing 3D Desktop and window title fonts are mesed up
When I play any 3D video (e.g., from the nVidia demo pages) the desktop and window title etc. fonts become blurred and unreadable.
But when I come out of playing they revert to normal - usually!
Now the fonts are permanently blurred! Even when I restart the PC they are blurred!
Can someone at least advise how I can get them to display normally again - but also knowing how to stop them going blurred at all would be useful.
I find if I decrease the resolution (increasing the text size) I can read it better.
Looking in nVidia settings I can't see any reference to Morphological Anti-Aliasing (MLAA)
There have been issues that after gaming in 3D, the 3D does not disable upon exiting the game. If this is the case try hitting control+t or running then exiting the Nvidia image test or clicking apply to refresh the 3D settings on the set up page.

From what I've read Morphological anti-aliasing (AA) is an all-new option for the Radeon HD 6000-series cards and not used by Nvidia. I read "But the unfortunate side effect is that, since there are fewer pixels in a low-res scene, there can be undesirable smoothing on things that you’d prefer would stay sharp. Text is a prime example of this." See the full article here http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-6870-radeon-hd-6850-barts,2776-4.html

I'd like to add that you never posted back in regards to overscan issues with your Coby TFTV 4028, either here on the Nvidia forumns or the AVS forumns. If you got it fixed, could you post your solution on both please.

OK I have tried those tests/changes you suggest, but the problem is still there
In the Nvidia control panel, under the change resolution tab, if you have the resolution option set in HD 3D set it to HD, SD. No HD 3D is not set, neither is HD. SD. Customise is all greyed out.
Do you have the "run at all times" feature enabled in the Set up stereoscopic 3D tab, if so change it to only when 3D programs run. Set already to "only when 3D programs run"
Do the symptoms go away if you uncheck the Enable steroscopic 3D? No
You may recieve more help if you listed your display and video card. NVIDIA GeForce GTX/9800 GTX+ and LG W2363D(Digital)

If this is the case try hitting control+t or running then exiting the Nvidia image test or clicking apply to refresh the 3D settings on the set up page. Ran Test Stereoscopic 3D under Setup Stereoscopic 3D and also ran Setup Wizard with no effect - Control + t just gives a ping sound with no changes
I am running at 1360x768 (to be able to read the text) but working towards 1920x1080 the text gets less readable until at max it is unreadable.
I am at a loss to work out why it won't go back. I made no changes when it occurred and was just trying to run a 3D demo video from YouTube (from the Mvidia site) and it was like this when the demo finished!
I have had the effect before, but it has cleared either after leaving the video or rebooting.
I have even power cycled the monitor incase that was holding a setting!

My apologies, I had you confused with another poster, lack of sleep due to a bout of insomnia. First set your desktop to 1920x1080@60 or @50 depending on your region, the hit the auto tune feature for the monitor. If the problem is still present, try typing cttune.exe into "run" and follow the prompts.

Thanks for the latest suggestions and here are the results - tho' I feel I am putting up more negatives than positives!
I am unable to find an auto tune feature for this monitor and have scanned the manual for one
I also cannot find cttune.exe on this PC
I also cannot set to 60hz
I can change the resolution, but if I set 60hz then it prompts (without any obvious display change) do I want to keep the setting. If I say yes it immediatly changes back to whatever it was
100, 110, 120!!

Cracked it - well at least got my clear and readable display back!
I set the res back to 1920 and as before the text was barely readable. Then in the Windows display control under advanced and modes I set to 1920 with 60hz
Now I can see the text as I used to - clearly.
But I don't know why I could not set 1920 and 60hz in the Nvidia control panel?
Thanks for your help
I remember now that when I first installed the monitor it suggested setting 120hz and I got the bad display then - I asked LG why they suggested 120hz, but I didn't chase it up.
