Killer Instinct (Season 3)
  2 / 4
hi guys, i dont know if this could help to fix the game!! i managed to acces the game's folder(windowsapps and ki folder inside) using a second windows (win7 x64) i droped in 3dmigoto for a teste but sadly the game crashes at startup, if we could edit .cfg files, maybe we could remove that shadow moves effect!

Microsoft announced they're planning to allow modification support on PC Windows apps. Hopefully that'll allow more 3D fixes.

I would be really surprised if 3dmigoto would work with this it's a completely different framework from normal programs. Has anyone found a way around the 3dvision advanced keys not working? http://www.pcgamer.com/microsoft-promises-to-support-modding-overlays-g-sync-and-freesync-in-universal-windows-apps/?utm_content=buffer91f06&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=buffer_pcgamer I see no mention of allowing apps to run in exclusive fullscreen. I hate how this is becoming a thing.

I currently can't even install it, because I don't have the latest version of Win 10 since the last time I tried updating it completely removed my ability to enable SLI :(, but I might try updating again just for this (loved KI 1 & 2 back in the arcade days). If/when we can get some tools working on this, you can rest assured our resident fighting game fixer (yours truly) will be on the case. :)

You are the man DJ-RK. Honestly this one is almost perfect out the box. Very pleasant surprise. just needs something done with the shadow moves and some convergence presets I think. maybe some hud depth. (I'm still using the Sf5 beta which adds that and I think is more than fine.) Game is actually pretty great other than the WUA retardedness..

I don't think he is talking about same mods you think he is. I think he is talking about Workshop/nexus. I think they really have a problem with injectors. TBH they can be used for cheating and something tells me they care more about parity between xbone and pc/cross platform play then anything.
Exactly, their cross platform desires are crippling PCs. When they added Wave Works to the PC version they tweaked PhysX to partially work on the CPU and partially on the GPU. https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2015/11/04/war-thunder/ "Most notable is the way Gaijin made WaveWorks and Destruction in War Thunder work for players on different gaming platforms. To maintain a level battlefield on the cross-platform 16-versus-16 multiplayer game, Gaijin took NVIDIA’s middleware source code and tweaked it to meet War Thunder’s requirements. So, NVIDIA PhysX Destruction executes on the CPU only, while WaveWorks takes a customized CPU/GPU implementation. This way all players will enjoy the same game-changing special effects and well-balanced gameplay. The result is a cross-platform upgrade for gamers on PC and console alike."

Well at least they are finally doing cross-play which I think vital for some genres with lower population communities but ... YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG! *queue memes*

I worry that IG fixing the refresh rate bug could disable 3d vision working. Is this a possibility? If the fix was implemented by limiting the refresh rate to 60hz does that automatically disable 3d?

See post #15 I agonized over this all day before working it out. Also try going into display settings and toggling 3d display on and off

Is it possible to edit convergence in the NVStereoscopic3D.LOG where the settings are saved? It's in Documents.

Anyone get this to run in 3DTV Play? I've gotten the 'not supported' message to display(not always), and had the game crash when changing to a compatible resolution. Also, to answer my own question regarding the possible 60hz limit patch. I set this to run at 'adaptive half', the game ran in 3d, but at half speed.
