You probably wont be able to go over 60Hz with this cable, but if it allows you to go at 1680x1050 @ 60Hz probably the problem is in the DVI cable that came with the display.

It doesnt work on windows boot too...
Could the cable be the problem?

Yes, most likely, as it seem that it not only cannot display high resolutions, but also lower resolutions too (at boot time). But it could also be some issue with the video cards... try using just one of the two cards and switching between the two DVI outputs.

I dont know exactly what could be, since I already made it go 1050.
After drivers it just doesnt go.
Is there any firmware or anything more especific that could help me?
