That's a handy wee tool. I like it!

PS: I like the gnome avatar. I got the "Little Rocket Man" achievement, although it was difficult in places! If only there was a place in the car for it.

Wow, maybe Apple is right and Flash is the cause of all evil in the world! :)

Nice toggle app, set one of my kb macros keys for it. Does the icon for it stay in your systray for you guys? I told win7 to show icon and notifications, but it doesn't seem to want to stick around. I'd like a way to visually see if it's turned on or not without having to toggle to see what it's set for. Oh well, a minor problem.

Anyway, that toggle fixes the issue, thanks!

For me, the shortcut icon on the desktop changes but there is nothing in the system tray. I do wonder if that program is equivalent to the two shortcuts in "Start > NVIDIA Corporation > 3D Vision" for "Enable 3D Vision" and "Disable 3D Vision". I definitely agree that one toggle shortcut on the desktop is more convenient, though. You never know, maybe NVIDIA might consider adding something like that directly to a future version of the driver.

Hi everyone,

I just heard from NVIDIA that this has been fixed for the next release of the driver. The 270.xx version will include the fix. They didn't have an exact date for when it'll be released, though, but said it "probably will be available soon".

Flash Player 10.2.152.26 is the culprit. You can either downgrade Flash to 10.1.102.64, or disable hardware acceleration through the Flash 10.2 settings (right-click any Flash file and select Settings, then click the first tab and uncheck the acceleration option). You might have to right-click a non-Youtube Flash file to get into the settings with 10.2 (e.g., the Nvidia home page splash screen).

I had the same problem that others described. With 3D Vision plugged in, the 3D mode would always toggle when viewing a video on YouTube. With 3D Vision unplugged, a red overlay appeared over the player on Youtube. Again, disabling hardware acceleration with 10.2 or uninstalling 10.2 and installing 10.1 solves the problem. Hopefully it'll get resolved in the near future, and at the same time I hope Youtube will start supporting integrated 3D Vision content within their videos.

Disabling Stereoscopic 3D, keeps this problem from happening. However you won't see those youtube vids in 3D. The only way to see 3D youtube vids is to download the video then play it off your hard drive.

Hi All

When we launched R265 drivers, we were automatically launching into 3D Vision mode for FIreFox since it was for 3DVisionLive.com.

With R270 we now have given you more control over when 3D Vision launches.

This FAQ describes how the option works. For users that do not use 3DVisionLive.com, I recommend using the option "Only while full-screen 3D programs run."

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the info. I've downloaded and installed the new drivers.

When I view the NVIDIA Control Panel, the only option I have in the drop-down list is "Only when 3D programs run". It is disabled by default and I had to uncheck then re-check "Enable stereoscopic 3D" to enable it and expand the list. Is this an error, or is it due to the limitations of my graphics card? (I have a GTX 260)

Also, when I try "Check For Updates" from the tray icon, I get an error saying "Unable to connect to NVIDIA. Try again later." Is this a known issue?

I like the addition of the system tray icon, because I definitely want to keep up to date with new releases. It's just a shame it can't connect for whatever reason.

At least the YouTube issue has gone away now. That was why I started this thread, after all. /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

What driver are you using? 270.61?

There have been some issues reported with the system tray icon which we are investigating.

Sorry, the only fix for me was to get the latest version of the driver. If you have everything up to date (NVIDIA driver, web browser, Flash plugin) then I don't know what else to suggest.

Here is the easiest way to get rid of this.
I have a laptop that has a Nvidia GT410M graphics card with 3d vision. Recently all my online videos started showing up double images like 3d/stereoscopic/anaglyph or whatever you want to call it. It was so annoying. I GUESS it was after the flash player update that happened. But roling back the flash update did not help. So here is what i did.
1) While the video is playing, right click and select settings. (don't select global settings, just click on settings.)
2) In the small window that appears, disable hardware acceleration. Or simply uncheck "enable hardware acceleration"/

Doing this helped me 100%. Disabling it in chrome, automatically disabled it in IE9 and Firefox 12.0

All the best!
