3D stereo passive in Nvidia 6800
Hi everybody:

I have an Nvidia 6800 graphics card. This card has 2 dvi outputs, and my idea is to use each output image for each eye side for the executed 3D application. I have installed Forceware 3D stereo driver.

There are some options in stereo configuration in Nvidia panel (stereo glasses, 3D monitors...), but I haven't achieved the solution for a Geowall system.

Does somebody tried it? I think it must be possible, not?.

Thank you!

I have "Dual VGA Output (Dep3D)" and it's working fine! Had to google Geowall first. lol
I have a dual polarized projector setup and it works like a charm.

Really? I've tried Dep3D setup but it doesn't work. When I enable 3D stereo, and I launch the test, it looks bad, 2nd dvi output is null. Could you give me more information about setup in your graphics system?

Thank you!

I'm not familiar with Geowall, but you probably have to set the monitors to something like DUAL VIEW or CLONE MODE. Otherwiese, the 2nd output won't be turned on. If you are using the NVIDIA stereo driver, try CLONE MODE first.

Finally, I have updated the drivers to 93.81 beta, and it works fine. I had problems with 91.31, so the solution is easy :)
