COD Black Ops - player names in 2D after latest patch Multiplaye layer names rendered at screen dept
Steam patched my COD Black Ops last week, and since then the player names are rendered at wrong depth when they are at far distance. Names of players at closer distance are rendered correctly in 3D, but as soon as they move further away, the names turn 2D. Any solution for this bug? I appreciate it.

I can confirm this is an issue. I verified it on my PC. We will contact the developers.

Wonder if you could also point this out.

I watched a 3d video of the xbox 360 and ps3 versions of black ops. I noticed that red dot sights and holographic sights render dynamically in 3d on the consoles. However, that has NEVER been the case with the PC version! All reticles are rendered on the same plane as the gun itself, making red dots useless. Why is it the console versions get proper aiming and us PC guys don't?

Thanx

I really appreciate it Andrew, thanks.
P.S. hope there's also a way to fix the night lighting in Flight Simulator X :)

Hi

I actually noticed exactly the opposite. I tried CoD Black Ops on my PS3 and aiming reticles were all at the wrong depth. Granted that was a few months ago, so they could have patched it.

What video are you referring to? is it a 3D one? Is it real gameplay or a rendering?
