If I could do PC gaming on Linux I would've switched yesterday. Micro$haft have proven, repeatedly, that they are incapable of maintaining a stable, reliable operating system and that they are an arm of the deep state alphabet intelligence agencies (NSA).

They aren't alone in this, you can add Google, Facebook and Wikipedia to this list as well. The NSA, along with various powerful industries to include the Pharmaceutical and Telecom industries, to name a few (vaccines related to autism and 5G health concerns respectively) actually pay moderators to moderate various topics on Wikipedia. Look up 9/11, you will find only the official narrative and a thorough refutation of the alternative hypothesis.

I'm running v430.86 here with 3d Vision according to first post (thanks Losti!) with absolutely no problem. It's as if 3D Vision came bundled.
At first I thought some thing was broken and maybe compatibility mode was always running in all games as depth appeared to just not be the same and a lttle more like a pop-out book but I then remember that my new setup has my screens much closer to me than before and the closer the monitor, the less 3D depth you get so it's probably just that.
I used to run with my triple screens around 30-33 inch from me eyes (centre screen) and 3D Vision at around 150% (3D Vision monitor size depth hack). Now I'm running default 100% w/ no depth hack + screens around 22 inch from me so that would explain the large decrease in depth perception yet it's still bloody amazing.
I'm going to get the depth hack re-instated now. 3D is just so damn amazing.

First off huge thanks for the effort you guys put in to keep 3d Vision alive.
This community is really awesome for sutch a "ninche"
At the moment Iam still running Windows 8.1 with a classic shell.
After a while it seems stuck on update`s (couldn`t care less)
Now I was wondering for "future proofing" what is the best solution?
Should I trie the method out to update Nvidia drivers and use the Tutorial to add 3d Drivers?
Iam now running still with a Gtx980, what would happen if I upgrade to RTX2080?

this is cool and all but i have an rtx 2080ti and windows 10 with the may update. from what i have read it will not work with my setup. if so its a shame because this is the fastest/last native 3d vision gpu :( I hope there will be a fix in the future for this issue. for some installing win 7 isnt the best alternative

I'm still working on the driver update mechanism in 3D Fix Manager. It's about 80% finished so far - only finetuning and lots of testing left to do. Users can decide whether to keep the current driver version and re-add 3D Vision or update to the latest version and also re-add 3D Vision. I hope it will also work with GTX 2080 TI - would be interesting to know if other owners of this card have more success.

2080Ti owner here on win 10 1903. I can say some things work and some things don't. I was mostly interested in getting PowerDVD 3D working again, and it works ok. Some other stuff, like kodi with 3d mvc doesn't, whenever I have stereoscopic turned on, it's just blinking. I will also try some games. Nice work on getting 3D vision to work with newer drivers.. it really is a life saver. I mean would it really be so much work or truble for nvidia to keep 3D or as a stand alone driver at least.

Looks awesome.
Could you please explain what I need to do to get it to work on a 4K 3D TV (EDID Override) ?
I'm still on old drivers and a little worried to update to 430.x, because you speak here about 3D Vision Controller (i don't have the emitter of course).
Thanks.

Thx. I'll contact you when the program is ready for testing. In your signature I see that you have Win 7 installed? Would be great to have some help testing if on Windows 7 the correct driver is automatically downloaded. I have only Win10 installed currently.

Of course, just let me know what you want.
I have W7 and 2 W10 installs, one with the latest driver and one with the last known good 3d vision driver.
I rarely boot into Windows 7 these days to be honest but it's there if I need it.
Thanks for all work, losti,
i managed to revert to standard driver after 1903, and got 3dvision running using manual mode, your script has a flaw, if u have spaces in the path where your script is located, will not work, my 2 cents, great job otherwise, viva 3d forever, fuck vr

Script driven Installation:
- get http://www.share-online.biz/dl/ENIN68SP1X
- start 3D_driver_Changer.cmd (make sure you are system admin but DO NOT START as admin via right click!!!)
- follow the description!
==> Manually things to do are written in the scrip!!!
(Cleaneup system with DDU; install 425.31, restart, go on with the script, nothing more manually to do!)
(Make sure your antivirus will not block or kill rcedit.exe (source: https://github.com/electron/rcedit/releases)
Manual Installation:
- use if something went wrong, this is proven as working fine:
Step 1:
- download the latest NV-GeForce driver (https://www.geforce.com/drivers)
- use WINRAR or 7-ZIP to extract
- download the latest NV-GeForce driver having 3D-Vision
(https://developer.nvidia.com/vulkan-driver)
- use WINRAR or 7-ZIP to extract
- You have 2 Folders now: (example): 425.58_geforce_win10_64bit_international and 430.64-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql
- go to the 3D-Vision containing driver folder (e.g. \425.58_geforce_win10_64bit_international) and copy the folders "NV3DVision" and "NV3DVisionUSB.Driver" to the new driver folder (e.g. \430.64-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql)
Step 2:
- get DDU (https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html)
- start your OS in safe mode
- use DDU <---- THIS IS A MUST HAVE or let’s say HIGHLY RECOMMENTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- uninstall current graphic driver
- restart
Step 3:
- install the latest 3D-Vision supported driver using setup.exe in the extracted folder (e.g. ...\425.58_geforce_win10_64bit_international\setup.exe)
- Use advanced setup (not express!)
- check the box "new install" (or fresh install or whatever it’s called in English, the box below the list of installed modules with the yellow triangle)
- install it
- restart your PC
==> NOW you are able to install the latest driver and having 3D-Vision controller driver in the list if you go on @ Step 4! Without installing a 3D-Supported driver you will NOT have the USB driver in the list of the installation for the latest driver!!
Step 4:
- install the latest driver using setup.exe in the extracted folder (e.g. ...\430.64-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql\setup.exe) ==> make sure you prev. copied the "NV3DVision" and "NV3DVisionUSB.Driver" folders from latest 3D-Vision driver here
- Use advanced setup (not express!)
==> The 3D-Vision-controller-driver should be in the list now!
- check the box "new install" (or fresh install or whatever it’s called in English, the box below the list of installed modules with the yellow triangle)
- install it
- restart your PC!
Step 5:
- get this little tool: https://www.carifred.com/fvie/
- navigate to the latest driver extracted folder to 3DVision (e.g. ...\430.64-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql\NV3DVision)
- Here you can see the "3DVision.exe"
- use WINRAR or 7-ZIP to extract
- navigate to the extracted folder (e.g. ...\430.64-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql\NV3DVision\3DVision)
Step 6:
- open the program you have just downloaded: "FVIE.exe"
- The first line is "File to edit:" here you click "Search" and navigate to the just extracted 3DVision folder (e.g. ...\430.64-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql\NV3DVision\3DVision)
- select the file "NvSCPAPI.dll"
- click on the button "Update" next to the search button in the program
- You should now see the File version and the Product Version that lines matters; it should be the version from the latest 3D-Vision driver (e.g. 7.17.14.2558)
- change BOTH of these numbers to the number from the latest driver (e.g. 7.17.14.3064)
- click "OK, change version resource"
- check the success message with OK and now click "Search" again in the program
- select the file "NvSCPAPI64.dll"
- click on the button "Update" next to the search button in the program
- You should now see the File version and the Product Version that lines matters, it should be the version from the latest 3D-Vision driver (e.g. 7.17.14.2558)
- change BOTH of these numbers to the number from the latest driver (e.g. 7.17.14.3064)
- click "OK, change version resource"
Step 7:
- In the latest driver folder where you the 3D-Vision folder extracted (e.g. ...\430.64-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql\NV3DVision) delete the backup files for the "NvSCPAPI64.dll" and "NvSCPAPI.dll"
- NOW start setup.exe from here
- install the 3D-Vision driver that in the end should pop up the 3D-Vision setup for you
==> IF you will get an error creating D3D device (or something like that) just run the setup.exe again, it’s possible that you need to do this 2-3 times
- restart your PC!
- You are NOW at the latest Game Ready Driver and can use 3D-Vision!!!

I wonder if we can get the 3DV driver to also work on them...
Update mechanism is finally implemented. Now it needs more testing.
@rustyk: I'll send you a beta tomorrow. Would be interesting to know if you can update your old win7 driver to the latest one with 3D Vision still working.

You really need to stop huffing that Jenkem.
Tis sad that you are so addicted to the shit.

Could you please explain what I need to do to get it to work on a 4K 3D TV (EDID Override) ?
I'm still on old drivers and a little worried to update to 430.x, because you speak here about 3D Vision Controller (i don't have the emitter of course).
Thanks.

Thx. I'll contact you when the program is ready for testing. In your signature I see that you have Win 7 installed? Would be great to have some help testing if on Windows 7 the correct driver is automatically downloaded. I have only Win10 installed currently.

I have W7 and 2 W10 installs, one with the latest driver and one with the last known good 3d vision driver.
I rarely boot into Windows 7 these days to be honest but it's there if I need it.

i managed to revert to standard driver after 1903, and got 3dvision running using manual mode, your script has a flaw, if u have spaces in the path where your script is located, will not work, my 2 cents, great job otherwise, viva 3d forever, fuck vr
