It was working fine till I blew a fuse now I turn the power on and the light comes on and it scrolls through the inputs but then the light turns off. The blue on button stays blue also. I tried unplugging for a few minutes. about 2-3.
Whats wrong guys anyone know. It was working great.

I read the manual it said if its bad the red light will quickly blink mine isnt blinking at all its a solid red and the bluee is solid blue. This is very unusuall because it doesnt say anything about this in the manual.
What it does is start up shows the acer screen then the bulb goes out and theres nothing.

Sorry for the dig but couldn't help it...
Anyway sounds like it hasn't shutdown correctly and cool down correctly for starters, have you tried leaving it off the power cord for a bit.
Also how long you able to see something on the screen, long enough to get into the menu options?
Should have got the Optoma dude :D
ya tell me about it lol. I was so torn about it but having to do the work around finally did it for me. I like it when things are supposed to just work.
Luckalie I found out what is wrong. If I hang it upside down in a generic mount this issue is caused. anyone have any idea's why?
After I took it out of the generic mount it worked fine.
Really wierd. I made sure no pressure was on the bulb itself.

Its when its upside down on a ceiling mount not sure if its putting pressure on it or what but that's what causes it to f up. Its such a pain.

I had this problem. Since i dont have a mount, just a shelf up near my roof, every time I would need to change sources I'd turn the pj upside down, change the source, and put it back to normal. Something to do with being upside down. Anyways, i was pretty annoyed, but after two days of doing this the pj started working perfect, no flipping necessary. So just stick with it. :)

When I got my PJ back from repair (Had it a month). It has lost the nvidia setting in the menu and this fault also started. If you watch the fan you can see it running when you switch it on but it just stops with the bulb still on then the PJ will stop. I wonder if it's an old firmware problem. Anyway I had to unplug it and start it again and everything was fine. Seems to have resolved itself now as I locked the input to HDMI. Just wondering if the PJ will last as long as the bulb in it

I just built a shelf for it. It seems to work much better this way anyways. One thing I dont like about the projector is it doesnt have a thing to move the lens around like my last prj.

I read the manual it said if its bad the red light will quickly blink mine isnt blinking at all its a solid red and the bluee is solid blue. This is very unusuall because it doesnt say anything about this in the manual.
What it does is start up shows the acer screen then the bulb goes out and theres nothing.
