Windows 7 Beta and 3DVision
I am building a new computer and I was thinking of putting the Windows 7 Beta on it. I was wondering since the Vista display drivers generally work under Windows 7 (from what I've read), does this mean that the 3D Vision drivers will also work in Windows 7? Has anyone tried this out on Win7 yet?

I couldn't get the IR transmitter to detect correctly on windows 7. I spent a few hours on it too as I L O V E windows 7 performance, stability etc, but regretfully I went back to vista x64 only for the 3d vision portion. (and x64 vista has some issues with crosshair)

Not sure whether this is a W7 thing or not, but I've gotten drastically different results with 3 different cables to the IR emitter...
Running bootcamped W7 64-bit on a mac pro with an 8800GT output to a Mitsu WD65735.
Cable 1 (the longer provided usb cable): my tv says no 3d signal detected and shows a single image.
Cable 2 (my own usb cable): my tv shows a double image, looks like it's supposed to, wheel at the back of the emitter changes depth (which is reflected on-screen), but the shuttering on the glasses doesn't work and i still see 2 images.
Cable 3 (the shorter provided usb cable): tv shows double images, when i run through hardware test i see both shapes in both eyes... clicking next or exit has varying results (either screen goes black or screen goes to the next screen in the wizard, without several of the screen components... either way, the screen is locked up until i unplug the emitter.

I'd love to get this working... what build of W7 are you on, and did you need to do anything special during installation to get this working? (I've done the whole remove drivers / use driversweeper thing several times...)

I just installed Build 7000 and put the 1.05 beta drivers. Everything was detected smoothly and the setup went without a hitch. I've only tested Left 4 Dead with it, but it seems to work, although the flashing issue is still present. I can't get Fallout 3 working in Win7 correctly though, so it looks like I'll be sticking to my Vista 64 and using Win7 out of curiosity and as a benchmark test bed.

Just curious, what 3D Vision driver are you using for Windows 7? Thanks
