F1 2010 should be rated 3D Vision Ready it's pretty much perfect
3 / 4
Locked convergence? Thank you for posting that, you have saved me 40 bucks guys. I'm a sucker for 3D games but really, these marketing retards should learn more about what stereogamers want and Nvidia should educate them and slap their hands at these obvious 3D faux pas.

Playing on the 23" Alienware I didn't even notice the convergence was locked because it's set perfect and I haven't even tried to touch it. Of course that must mean for other sizes it is less than ideal. I can understand them wanting to lock the convergence, with the in car view and the paddock/interview sections in a first person POV, you could easily get things out of view (Mafia II locked convergence for the same reason so it's cutscenes wouldn't look horrible). I just wish they would figure out a better way to do this given that people are using different screen sizes.
I'd have to agree with giving this game a really good 3D rating. The only issues I've seen is that the menu on the car monitor is in 3D, when obviously that menu should be flat on it's screen and they have a lot of menu screens and scenes with super high contrast, which leads to a lot of ghosting in those instances.

Agreed the convergence is set very nicely, definitely should NOT be a deal breaker for anyone.
OK so like I said in my first post I did only have limited testing at the time of making this thread so perhaps the title is a little overstated LOL. I do agree it's not 3d Vision ready but it's damn close IMO, should be at 'Excellent' probably. Aside from the shadows and AO under the cars, and the dust/particles when someone goes off track, everything else is spot-on including true 3D menus, and the game is silky-smooth. Insane sense of speed from playing in 3D. Really loving this game so far. :)
