Weird.. I was playing this in 3D Surround (5760x1080) on 2x980Ti and got zero problems...
Have you tried both variants of the fix?
The only other thing I can say... is to try the very old driver that was released when the game appeared... Not sure if your GPU supports it:(

After Wolfenstein incompatibility with my system (No Vsync), I was thinking this OpenGL title would not work too, but surprised me and it works really good.
Playing at 3840x1645 (2160p is not smooth enough) at max settings and performance is really good, gameplay is smooth, no serious desync issues.

I played this a couple years ago 2D on a laptop on a trip, and put off playing in surround, and until I forgot about the details of the game.
Anyway, just finished on Win7, 2x1080ti, 388.59, 5960x1080/bezel corrected, default settings from your instructions. I got FRAPS 60 fps :-) :-)
With a headset, surround, etc. this was downright glorious. The underwater scenes are just unbelievable! I found myself holding my breath!!

This one actually looks very nice. The pics in Doom looked a little "cardboard cutout"-like, but I seriously can't tell the difference here between geometry 3D! Might need to finally get around to playing this one. Grabbed it a while back and been meaning to try it after your glowing recommendation before.
In any event, congrats of making another huge breakthrough, you're definitely a very skilled programmer and resident openGL expert!

The Depth Buffer linearization needs to change for some games to get this kind of quality. Also dependent bit depth as well.
Some games will look better than others.
Something seems wrong with the convergence calculation since it should be able to handle your weapon hand. What calculation are you using for it? Maybe I can help you with that part.

Both for this game and DOOM, I pushed the convergence to high levels. It doesn't matter really, since convergence is user-controlled anyway.

I have used the Depth3D Shader for Reshade (and actually had it implemented with Reshade 2.x in my wrapper) if you remember :) I stopped it, because I had to ask Crosire how to hack it, at the time, so it doesn't hook the Present/Swapbuffers. Reshade wasn't open source then.
I see that you spent an insane amount of time on Depth3D and I don't want to compete in any shape or form with that;)
Once I make this release, I would be more than happy to tweak, add, improve the shaders, if you, sgsrules or anyone else want to help out!
