covergence during cutscenes
Hi, is there a way to have a button to change the covergence during cutscenes. I am playing castlevania and it looks great with high covergence, but during cuscenes it breaks. is there a way to have a predefined button to change the covergence back to low and another to change back to high. it would be good for all games as i usually find that high covergence looks much better but it always breaks cutscenes.

That would depend on the game and how it's been fixed I think.

If you are requesting this as a feature from Nvidia, you'll need to do it via support. They typically do not respond to requests in the forum, since it's considered user to user. http://www.nvidia.com/page/support.html If you are playing one of the titles released for the PC, please post in the appropriate "existing" thread. Or on the blog for the specific fix http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html If you are playing "Castlevania" with an emulator, the 3D Vision community does not offer any patches. You might be able to do something on your own though. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/766890/?comment=4742164

I am playing castlevania lords of shadow with helix fix, but this is not related to this game. I was hoping that by now someone would have come up with something as high covergence definatelly improves the visual in some games. I wont bother requesing this to nvidia as we all know they are useless.

From the fix's comments...
Used KB keys: 1 - switch gameplay presets. 2(hold) - activate low convergence preset(for some cut scenes).
As far as Buttons go, assuming you want to use a controller, you can use something like JoyToKey or AutoHotKey to send keystrokes.

The problem is when we get a game that doesnt have helix fix, like batman i had to play with a covergence sertting that would be good at both gameplay and cutscenes.
It doesn't matter if the game already has a fix or not. Just drop in the game executable folder the latest release of 3Dmigoto (https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/releases) if your game uses DX11, disable hunting mode ("hunting=0") and assign keys to different convergence values, or make one key cycle through them, etc. Something like this:
[Key1] Key = F1 convergence = 2.4 [Key2] Key = F2 convergence = 2.0 [Key3] Key = F3 convergence = 1.5 [Key4] Key = F4 convergence = 1.0
I told you to disable the hunting mode, but with it enabled you'll be able to see the value of your current convergence and separation (you can also add a "separation = [number between 0 and 100]"). That will help you to get the values you need. For DX9, what D-Man11 posted, and you can get the release "d3d9.dll" here: http://helixmod.blogspot.com.es/2012/03/dlls-update.html
