3DTV Play adjustment of 3D Depth The depth par is being locked at defult
  1 / 2
Hi Guys,

I am sorry if someone has posted these question.

-- > How come I cannot adjust the 3D Depth bar with my GTX 260 using the 3DTV Play driver (version 260.89)? It seems like it's locked at default.

It seems the above setting DOES affect the Depth of 3D Blu-Ray video. I have another machine running the Quadro 4000 card and I was able adjusted the 3D depth to maximum. The significance of the 3D effects were noticeably different. Does anyone know how to adjust the Depth setting on the GTX 260 or is it not possible?

Thanks!!

You guys can at least use 3DTV Play. I can't make it work with my PN63C8000 Samsung 3D Plasma.
I just see HDMI 1.4 bluray3D in the Nvidia control panel, no 3DTV Play logo.... I can play bluray3D just fine in myb TV using Power DVD 10 Mark II 2213, but If I set the resolution to 3D 720p or 1080p, TV will go into 3D mode when starting a game, but game will be displayed in 2D despite of TV being in 3D mode and glasses syncing.

Once I set my 3DTV as primary display, all my 3D options are greyed out in the Nvidia control panel.

Bigbilly, when you set your 3D Plasma TV as primary display, do you see the 3DTV Play logo in the Nvidia control panel, or just HDMI 1.4 bluray3D???
I guess if you can play your games in 3D in your TV, you should see 3DTV Play besides HDMI 1.4 bluray3D.

I think I've figured it out. If you have the 3D Vision kit (the actual glasses and the USB IR receiver), you get the software for free. If you don't, you need to pay $39.99 to get the software. Then you can adjust your depth bar which is meant for games. The blu-ray playback is completely unaffected by that bar because your software controls the depth, e.g. Arcsoft Total Media Theatre allows you to adjust depth.

Quadro cards are a completely different story since Quadro users paid over $1000 for their video cards everything comes for free. No wonder I was able to use it with Quadro. Wahahahaha

I hope the above is correct (read from various sources) but if not correct me.

the depth adjustment feature is present in powerdvd mkII ultra 2113 as well, under the options for 3D. You could try this instead.

This seems like quite a serious issue to me as i don't play any of my games at 15% /fear.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':fear:' /> and i figure most people don't.

Have you tried using the keyboard (hot keys) commands to adjust the depth while in game, instead of the control panel or wheel on the back of the emmitter? That might work. :)

It makes sense the wheel doesn't work (its only detecting you have 3D vision so you can use the free version of 3DTV play, but not being able to adjust in the control panel is a bit sus!!)

You guys are mixing up things. I have the 3D Vision kit and I can't use 3DTV Play, cause the damn drivers are not yet compatible with my Samsung 3D Plasma. The depth bar in the Nvidia control panel is for games and it's not meant for bluray3D. The depth adjustment you're talking about in Power DVD 10 and Total Media 3 are only for 2D-3D cheap conversions. You can't adjust depth for real bluray3D movies or any other real 3D source.

Hi, I think they are talking about games and we need to get an answer on this.

With 3DTV Play can you adjust the depth for pc video games? or is it stuck on 15%?
