3D video-editing with Sony HDR-TD 10
Hi all,

I have ordered a brand new Sony HDR-TD 10 camcorder, and also a new PC with a GeForce GTX 560Ti graphics card and a 3D LG Full HD Monitor (23 inch).

I just wonder how to edit 3D on my PC?

Does someone know, if the Nvidia 3D Vision Kit (non PRO version) would work?

As the pro version would also need a quattro nVidia card...

Thanks in advance,
Dary

There are software programs that will edit 3D videos. Roxio Creator 2011, Sony Vegas Pro 10.0d, Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 as well as others I am sure (those are the ones I could think off the top of my head).

I confirm only Sony Vegas Pro 10d can support MVC. My CS5 does not recognise MVC at all. Unfortunately nvidia 3D Vision Video Player does not support the format (full 3D HD - AVCHDx2).

At this moment I can play 3D video take on my Fujifilm W3, but this is 720 only and average quality.

Is any chance for update NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player?

Best Regards

You can edit 3d while having 3d in the viewports with adobe premiere cs5.5 but you need the help of a pretty pricey plug in called neo3d from cineform.
Works great with 3d vision.

MAGIX Movie Edit Pro MX works perfectly and outputs a variety of 3D formats for all kinds of uses, from RED/BLU to Left/Right Top/Bottom, very well rounder software for under $100. I have the Sony HDR T10 and it is particularly stunning if you turn on the manual exposure function and dial back those hot highlights on a sunny day... rich 3D depth seems ever more enhanced by deep shadows and detail in the highlights gained by over-riding the Auto Exposure. ;-) But then we know that about video don't we?

There are software programs that edit 3D videos, but you will need to wear 3D glasses to watch the output videos. ShowBiz helps to turn 2D video clips into eye-popping 3D. Apart 3D video editor, ShowBiz is also AVI editor, DAT editor, VOB editor, MPG editor, MPEG editor, WMV editor, ASF editor, mp4 editor, , and video editor that edit video formats including 3GP, 3G2, MOV, TS, M2TS, TOD, M2T, MKV, QT, FLV, WTV, DVR-MS, M1V, M2V, M4V, MOD, OGM, MTS. You can even download and edit youtube videos with ShowBiz. After editing, you can directly share it on YouTube.
