Yeah it works in 3D. However I am not as concerned with the pop-out as I am with the pop-in, hehe.

If you want major pop out look into a DLP projector. The parachute chords on Just Cause 2 literally almost
hit me in the face.. 7-8 feet away.

I like to go a little farther in as I don't usually like my guy looking like a toy usually, while I still get some pop-out from near objects.
