Stereoscopic Player Bug Not the squished aspect ratio issue...
Nvidia/Andrew,
I wanted to separate my 3D Video playing issue from the aspect ratio issue because I can't even explain in words what is happening... (will try my best though)
My problem is that the drivers are sending a map of the video to each eye. the ones being sent to my left and right eye don't even stitch together right no matter what.
I have taken in video screen shots but they are useless cause when not in full screen they normal, but when full screen is enabled I experience this:
1) Left eye & right eye don't match or stitch together
2) Right Eye is always on the left side (even with a F7) now F7 does make the picture look different
3) Each eye has a picture being sent that is zoomed in way past the movie
4) Tried all Nvidia's recommened resolution, they produce the same issue and resize is not on
5) I have tried all revolutions with normal DPI (96) or 150% (144) DPI no difference
6) Tried all drives release since product launch they all do the same
8) Games play fine, with out glasses it looks like it should slightly doubled up (screens below don't)
9) both eye should be the same picture just from different angles, below we have each part of the picture mapped to each eye and then flipped. this is a instant headache lol ;)
I can try to explain more but I had to take a picture of what is happening with any avi, mkv, mpg, dvd, bluray...
This was taken from my camera and anyone who know about how these glasses work will tell your brain can stitched this together.
Now the 3D is enabled and I believe the checkerboard is being sent it goes to 3D I can see the different but when each eye is not correct data it ... well looks like this
Before F7

Now even though thats 4:3 it looks way to narrow but the problem I am trying to solve here is well explained by the pictures...
The picture should look normal but doubled up, like a shadow. All games do this fine but the video messes it up completely and it seems by the forums I am the only one who has this issue if not chime in...
My assumption is the drivers because it does this in the Nvidia player and Stereoscopic 1.3 in every setting, I also tried view method and input format with no luck.

Here is a logo everybody is familiar with ... =) (below)
The aspect ratio bug is in full effect here.
This 1080 movie was given as 16:9 aspect ratio and all different input methods (over/under - left/right) and it still looks 4:3 and squished look at the picture of where the video ends vs where the tv screen does
But mainly the Nvidia driver is out putting something clearly wrong. Again playing for example left for dead shows the game slightly doubled, below looks crazy when 3D is added to it

I get that when watching a 3D video saved as "Interlaced 3D" using "Side by Side 3D" setting in Stereoscopic Player.
Switching to Interlaced instead of Side by Side helps.
Took a while to figure out though
(Different setup but maybe it can be of help...)

I have met about 5 people any more?
thanks[/quote]
No you are not alone. It's the same kind of problem that happens with game loading screens and the map in WoW. It's definitely a widespread thing, and a serious bug that I'm sure they are working on. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.
