Just downloaded and tried the demo for this game - looks great in 3D. Same as Batman2, and has the same issue with high convergence in cut scenes, but otherwise is great. In the demo you are Ironman and Hulk.

Now that's what I call TOYIFICATION....Hahaha...yea...
But seriously thats friggin high, probably like 30% more convergence batman lego 2. I didnt really play it too long tbh. I might check it again on release and pray they lower it.

What? I couldn't get the game to run. It was running at like 720P@60hz. And there were zero resolution options. So it was running with red/blue 3D and I had the RED WARNING LETTERS blazed across my monitor that it was an unacceptable resolution.

Well, it is a demo, so they may have fixed it to one resolution - there are basically no graphical options at all aside from brightness. Game comes out in 3 days anyway, so not long to wait. In the meantime, unless there is a reason why you can't change resolution (e.g. using 3D TV Play, or a projector), set your display resolution to 1080p?

My monitor is a 1080p 120hz monitor. And it's set to 1080p @ 120hz. But when the game loads, for whatever reason, it's loading at a blurry resolution and it's running @60hz (which prompts the monitor to give the red letters that's it's an incompatible 3D mode). I always get that when some game changes things to 60hz for whatever reason.
Why it's deciding to then run in anaglyph 3d is beyond me.

Hmmm, that's really wierd... Do other games run properly? In Control Panel in the stereo section does it say "3D Vision Discover" or "3D Vision Ready" - it might have got it's knickers in a twist and reset itself somehow...

Never saw that before. It got it running @ 1080p, but not 3D.

Figured it out. This is a problem that only rarely happened, but it stemmed from the fact my monitor could only be assigned to "Identity #2". I have an HDTV also hooked up, but I don't run in clone mode. Only one is ever active at the same time. And I could never get my monitor assigned the #1 Identity. But I finally unplugged the DVI cable and plugged it into the other DVI slot and now my monitor is recognized as display 1. So that should be the end of these weird anomalies that pop up from time to time.
Demo is awesome BTW. I love these lego games in stereo.

Crap. The retail version seems to have all sorts of issues - doubling and halos, shadows, convergence through the roof (some cut scenes can't be focussed on even with just 10% separation). And it's not the driver because the demo is near perfect still (I am using the latest release driver). Anyone else having problems?

TBH, I only played like 3 minutes of demo and I saw shadow issues. I didnt mention it because people who played it didnt mention it.
Convergence was crazy in demo all together. It easily exceeds depth distance for me.
I dont think driver/profile will make a difference tbh, its using its own renderer.

The retail game is massivley broken. Not just a minor glitch here and there, and there is no comparison to the demo. I just played both, the difference is night and day. I won't be able to play it as it is, and I am very sad, I was really looking forward to this :-(
**EDIT
I've worked it out. The games 3d renderer is *NOT* turning on, and it is being rendered with mvidia automatic. I tested this by disabling 3d vision: the demo still works in 3d, but the retail game does not. I'll post on the relevant game forum and see if they can patch it asap. Failing that, it might be a possibility to Helixmod it and remove some of the stupid high convergence.

Renderer is not active. Not sure why.
Edit: No code for renderer connecting to nvapi thats in demo. No idea if renderer itself is there but doesn't seem plausible to fix.
