Before the latest driver release I could not play Cyberkink Power DVD 10 ultra inBlu-Ray Now with the latest June drivers installed and the MarkII software for Cyberlink installed I can play standard DVDS in 3D but not Blu-Ray, Yet the Cyberlink
Blu Ray check passes on all items for 3D Blu Ray
If I load a Blu Ray DVD it allows me to go into thetrue theatre mode for audio onlybut the 3D icon is not working. Am I missing something here?
Cyberlink had a real problem with Samsung 120 MhZ monitors for 2D Blu-ray and took some time to sort it out. I am just wondering if they have not caught up with 3D Blu-Ray on their patches yet

I'm not sure what to tell you, 3D bluray is working just fine with Cyberlink with both the latest drivers and the ones before them here on my Samsung 2233rz. Try running AnyDVD HD as that is the only other thing I have on here.

Same problem here. I can watch a 3d blueray movie, but no luck with converting regular bluerays to 3d. I just assumed that my 280gtx's werent capable of the work.

Here's the strange bit. I am using a Nvidia 250GT GPU. I have just noticed that despite Cyberlink's 3D vision Blu-Ray check for Power DVD 10 Ultra MarkII showing all my hardware is compatible, green lights on the lot, the Nvidia 3D vision requirements say the 250 GT is not OK for 3D Bluray playback
Seems to me one side is not talkingg to the other--No surprise there then if my past experience in getting Cyberlink to understand that a patch was required for blu ray playback on a 120 Mhz monitor ris anything to go by.
I would be interested to know what GPU you have, mrlindstrom. I am minded to get a 460 GPU fairly soon but would like to know what you are using with the Samsung right now as you seem to have cracked it

Nowhere is Cyberlink advertised to do on the fly 3D conversion of Bluray discs. This takes a tremendous amount of processing power due to the high bit-rate of the movies.

Arcsoft TMT3 or CYberlink PowerDVD does not support conversion of 2D blu rays to 3D. It requires lot of processing power. I have tried with some 720p mkv files and it does convert those to 3D but converted 3D is not that good.
