Tried the latest beta 1.2 from that page and unfortunately the game just stays stuck at the loading screen for me.
This is how I installed the files to the pCARS directory:
To try this out-
1) rename the ShaderFixes folder out of the way, then run the uninstall.bat file to clean up everything in the game folder. That will remove everything from the 3Dmigoto version, including the ShaderFixes, which you need.
2) Rename the folder back to ShaderFixes.
3) Drop in the Flugan's wrapper, all the pieces, including the .ini file. Don't include any ShaderFixes folder you might have there, as those folders are game specific.
4) Run the game with that setup, and Flugan's wrapper should load and run Mike's ShaderFixes.
5) Let us know if it works or not. :->
Taken from here:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/786977/3d-vision/project-cars-3d-vision/11/
It probably is user error as Win 8.1 users have said the game works for them. [/quote]
You did still install my new beta 1.2 files first though right? Otherwise you won't have updated shaderfixes folder - remember the "fix" part is what is in those files, not the wrappers. Let me know.

It looks like this gets an error on Win8.1 using the force_no_nvapi.
Switch the settings in the d3dx.ini file [Stereo] section to:
automatic_mode=1
force_no_nvapi=0
This is less intrusive and still provides the HUD in 3D and works on both 7 and 8.1
The fix was kicking in fine for me on both 7 and 8.1.

Sorry, I've tried, nothing changed, still bad shaders like before ...Coul it just be the configuration in the visuals ?
Reflections set to "High" and Stretched headlights set to "OFF". What is the best other settings ?
Thanks again ...

I really don't know to be honest. I use force_no_nvapi=1, but that's for the HUD, not the game in general.

Don't know, it's working well on each system I've tried. Doesn't sound like the fix is engaging at all.
Try setting calls=1, debug=1, in the d3dx.ini file, and launch the game. That will create a log file, which will demonstrate that it is installed correctly (or not). You can share that log with me and I can take a look.

Hi! How did you get it running on 8.1? Did you use the Flugan Wrapper?

I did indeed. I extracted all that was in the zip folder to the pcars directory, renamed shaderfixes folder and then ran uninstall.bat. I renamed the folder back to shader fixes and then extracted all the files in the flugan dying light folder to the same pcars directory (I did delete flugans shader fixes).
tbh I have no idea what's going on as a couple of posts above me the guy confirms it works for him. All I can probably do is uninstall pcars and download it again.

Can you try it using the 3DMigoto wrapper? This supports Win8.1 now.

Added my official version of beta 1.2 together with the latest version of my wrapper.
Appears to be working good enough. Just bought the game during steam sale and barely tested it so far as the download just finished.
I tried every possible combination of wrapper and your shadders, even the ones Flugan just posted on his onedrive. already reinstalled the game
game exe 1.4 updated
with the fix It plays a double sound and does not enter (tu tu)
with automatic_mode=1 it loads the game, but the 3D is just a transparent shadow

Mike and Flugan I have now reinstalled pcars but when running either of your latest fixes I now get 2 bleeps when I load the game and it fails to even start the game now. Apart from an o/s reset I don't know what else I can do but I am giving up on this for now as I will be upgrading to windows 10 when it is released so there is no point doing it now. I appreciate all your efforts.

Appears to be working good enough. Just bought the game during steam sale and barely tested it so far as the download just finished.
Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?

That will disable the HUD, but might be related to this problem.
