Continous crashes to desktop! Sometimes as fast as just a couple of seconds into the game.
Yeah I thought this problem was supposed to go away with the new drivers (190.38) but it isn't. Warmonger, Left 4 Dead, pritty much all games quit to desktop all the time and it's super-frustrating and this is only happening when my 3D is enabled and more often than not only after a couple of seconds thus ruining my entire 3D experience. Without the 3D enabled, everything runs great. Anyone know a work-around?
My rig: OS Win x64, CPU QX6850 @ 3 ghz. GPU GTX 295. Mobo's chipset nforce 680i. Memory 4 sticks of 8 gb DDR2 @ 800 mhz.

Have you tried a fresh OS install? There is a decent chance that that would clear up some or all of the crashes.

No I haven't, and somehow I find it a little bit to drastic being that the problem only occur when 3D is enabled. I haven't got any other kinds of problem what so ever. I thought of that option too but figured I'll wait until windows 7 is released.

Lol Yeah I agree.. hmm maybe make a restore point.. just thinking what I would do if I only had one computer and one OS. Maybe open msconfig turn off all the startups except Nvidia, then under services disable all those.. except NVIDIA. And reboot. See if maybe something loading is doing it? If anything is overclocked .. set that to defaults.. for testing..

Well since it only occur when I have it enabled I think they have to be related. However, 3D want to enable itself from time to time when I play 2D and I have to turn it of using the button on the IR-transmittor. I find it very odd. Perhaps that's what happens in reverse when I choose to play 3D right from the start? But even so the entire 3D-system should manage its own auto-shutdowns without crashing to desktop! I do not get crashes when I manually enable/disable the 3D ingame.
Am I the only one who find nvidias 3D vision extremly buggy and suffer from these crashes?
