How well does 3D work on a 23" monitor? (versus 27")
I've been using a 24" (1920x1200, 16x10) monitor for years and I just purchased a 3D monitor (Planar, 23", 16x9) and it looks... small.
Are most of you guys with 3D monitors using 23" (or 23.6") monitors or are you using 27"?
I'm thinking about upgrading to a 27" (the new Asus monitor) but that seems TOO big and I do suffer from motion sickness (i.e. I can't play games on my projector [110" screen] because it makes me feel ill)

I also went from a 19x12 24" to a 23" 3D Monitor and there is a noticeable difference in size, you lose the 60 pixels at the top and bottom, however, when the 24" was running 1920x1080 the visual size was virtually identical to the 23" 1080p panel. Most of the 27" options just came out this year, so I think a lot of people are actually gaming on 23" or smaller (even some on the 1st gen 22" 1680x1050 panels). I would imagine a 27" would be much nicer however, as there's certainly times I wish I could sit further back and have a larger screen size to help immersion.
If you are having issues with motion sickness, have you tried changing FOV (field of view) settings in games? Also, if there's an option to turn off head bob, you can try that as well. Personally, I find I do get used to it and motion sickness is only really a problem if I don't game in 3D for awhile or don't play any FPS for awhile. A few things you can try to help with your motion sickness while gaming:
1) Take some Dramamine prior to extended gaming sessions. Try to take at least 30 minutes BEFORE you start gaming.
2) Chew gum while playing. Don't know why this works, but it does for me.

I agree with what I quoted. Get a good night sleep & don't sit there staring at your screen for too long. 2 hours>pee>2 hours>pee>2 hours>vomit.....ahahahaha....
