3D Vision 2 & Dell S2716DGR ?
I bought a Dell S2716DGR, I got it because it's 27" using 2560x1440 resolution with 144hz refresh and a <1ms Grey-to-Grey. And included G-Sync technology. I'm using display port, for the 2560x1440 resolution as the hdmi only supports 1920x1080 (or some other tiny ratio like that.) My current Graphics card is not part of this conversation, as i will be getting a different card eventually to support 3D Vision ASAP. My Question: Is my monitor compatible with 3D vision? or should i return my fancy new monitor.. and be forced to get a measly 1920x1080 monitor like those listed on http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-displays.html I rather prefer 2560x1440 resolutions @ 27" & 144hz, especially for future 3D and my general work/play environment.

Yes, it's compatible with the 3D Vision and 3D Vsion 2 kits (I have the S2716DG. The "R" in your model means "retail"). The Nvidia monitor list is outdated. I hope your monitor is a revision higher than A01. A00 and A01 have a thicker antiglare coating. Like mine :(.

just looked back there, mine is a A04, but i do see a funky circular pattern in the glow of the inverter. it looks like an ∞ infinity symbol or a magnetic pattern. it's notable more on black backgrounds. >.>
