I mean how do I create that macro. Do I type: Assign TURN ON/OFF STEREOSCOPIC 3D EFFECT TO -> . to a notepad and save it as a macro file (if even possible?), or how do I go on about doing it? I'm not at all familiar in this stuff as you can see...

sadly, no corsair fix :((((((((
i cant play in 3d with this issue , that sucks :/
Yesterday i finish the game and i have to say this game is f***ing awesome. Great Art design, story, gameplay, enviroment and music/sound. In some part i remember the movie "The Goonies" (one of my favorites old movies)
I play with the same options than eqzitara (Tesselation Off, DOF Off, PP Off) and i disable (about 1 hour playing) the TressFX (tbh i dont like at all..nice try...but looks off). The game have great chapters and others that blow your mind.
About 3D, the game its really impressive, the game is designed with 3D in mind (you can see it in cinematics). Sadly the crosshair its in 2D, hope in some patch they fix it. I play with 100% depth and 50% convergence.
Here you can see some screenshots (i upload a few....i have about 120 of them):

@woody1066, try this: check "full Screen" + "exclusive full screen" + Check "3D stereo" and with 1280x720 resolution, change the refresh rate to 50hz. Let me know if works.

Sure you can. In the options in-game, set 3D strength in the middle and then move the 3D depth value from zero to two notches to the right, like this: http://i.imgur.com/saVpDSF.jpg
It works fantastically with these settings and game looks unbelievable.

this is very helpful, thanks:)
in 3D surround, I cannot get the crosshair 100% accurate, but close enough for effective aiming.

thanks man , you just made my day :) , i was trying to play with high depth (80+%) all the time and making the right mouse button switch to 2D when i click it to aim , still the corsair was shifted a little bit to the right tho but was better than the messed up 3d one, but now when i enter any fights i can decrease depth to around 20% to 30% with high convergence and the corsair is perfect.

i am still 20% so far but i am loving it so much , the 3D experience (for me at least) is the BEST i have ever seen in a game , so engaging and beautifully well done.
btw, why are you disabling post processing , does it has any bad effect on 3D ?
I'm not sure whats technically is post processing :P , but i like its effects.

Could there be a way to make it so that when you click the right mouse button, the Stereo 3D values would would use those lower suggested values (depth ~20% and strength 50%) for good aiming with the crosshair in the right place and when the right mouse button is released the values would return to their normal higher ones? I know there are apps for this but if I remember correctly they only work in DX9?

There are a few problems with halos around Lara in some parts (not all)... but if you dont bother you can leave it enabled.

You might be able to get the Helix wrapper working to do this, not sure if its by design but I've had the hotkeys working in DX8 games, might work with newer DX versions too.
