Hmm;)) I am trying to modify the HUD separation (as I find it too high) like the Main Menu and so on. I found these setttings in the ini file.
; ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ; Default constants to pass directly to shaders as IniParams ; ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [Constants] ;0 to disable splashes on screen; 1 to enable it x = 0 ;Hud depth. Only works for some hud views. 0.05 is in about 10%. -0.05 is out about 10% y = 0.02 ;Default for HUD fix. This can be cycled using the "V" key to bring the different HUD views to screen depth z = 0 ;Currently unused w = 0
However modifing the Y component doesn't seem to do anything... Am I doing something wrong? Thank you in advance!

I took a break from the game for a few weeks. Just came back and downloaded the latest beta. I thought the Windows 8.1 issue was fixed now. But I get beeps on EXE lantch. Please remind me, where do I get the Flugan Wrapper and which files do I need to copy? Also, any disadvantages to the Flugan one? Thanks.

I bought the game just because of this mod, but it is not working now. This is so frustrating and confusing. 1. I thought the patch was updated to work with Windows 8.1. It diden't, so I had to copy the file D3D11.dll from dying light. 2. I thought the HUD fix was included in the latest beta too. But its still not working. Do you still have to edit the .EXE. 3. In both beta releases the shadows are completely messed up, making 3D unplayable. If I swap the shaderfixes folder from Alpha 0.04, its fine. I don't know what shaderfix file is causing it. Or why I am the only one its not working for. 4. I can't even take a screenshot. ALT+F1 does nothing now. EDIT: I noticed that now, when restarting the game, a bunch on .bin files are in the shaderfixes folder. 3D Vision just randomly stopped working completely. Could someone please connect on Teamviewer to help fix things? Thank you.

I did download that one and it did not work. Isen't it supposed to work on Win8.1 and include the hud fix? Now the Alpha won't work either. This is so frustrating, I have spent all day working on it. I think I will update driver from 353.06 to 353.30 and reinstall the game. What are the .BIN files that keep getting created anyway?

Your instructions were not very clear, but I tried things many different ways. Just because it works for you does not mean it works for others. We have different combinations of hardware and software. The fix posted has 2 .bin files, but more are created upon lantching the game. I have been using 3D Vision for almost all my gaming for about 1.5 years now. But I typically don't use mods. I am not a programmer and I don't really understand what a wrapper is and why its used. I have really been trying to catch up to the level you guys are at, but I just dont have the resources available. Also, how are you guys related? Are you friends in real life. Or do they just build each upon each others contributions online? I just feel kind of left out. Could you please answer my questions? Thank you.

My goal was to get everyone to at least double-boot Win7 to make everyone's lives easier, but Flugan developed his wrapper for 8.1 and that has confused the whole situation. I just updated the fix to v1.3 on the HelixModBlog to fix the loading problem on Win8.1. This version of 3Dmigoto supports forcing automatic_mode, which allows the HUD to appear when in 3D. (v1.2 will also work if you edit the d3dx.ini and set force_no_nvapi=0 and automatic_mode=1. That's all I changed for 1.3) That version should work, or you can also use Flugan's wrapper. To do that, you keep the key part which is the ShaderFixes folder and d3dx.ini file, and delete everything else before installing his code. The actual 'fix' is the ShaderFixes and d3dx.ini. The code is in d3d11.dll, and the other files are for the 'wrapper'.
