So how is tomb raider in 3D? I just picked up the survivor edition for 15 bucks its on the steam summer sale today. http://store.steampowered.com/app/203160/
More 3D vision ready then most nvidia games.
Put settings how you want it. Test benchmark. You will see some visual issues on water.
Turn off post processing. Test benchmark. You will not see any issues.
Decide between perfect 3D no post processing or post processing with some minor issues. I personally went post processing off. Nothing else wrong after that. [I only saw 1 2 sec issue but that was it].
This is what I wrote for my blog but no point in you going since you bought it and reading a review of a game you own is a bad idea.
"DX11 Ingame Settings Maxed. I recommend turning OFF Postprocessing/ TressFX/Depth of Field
Post Processing: Causes occasional issues with water and other effects. See video/benchmark. I turn off but I didn't monitor the full aesthetic/visual cost.
TressFX: Its kind of unrealistic or perhaps ultra realistic. Either way it detracts from game because you find yourself just watching her hair. It just seems like Lara has horse hair. Thin, light, gleaning horse hair...I say NEIGH. Not to mention, lara's body/clothing takes punishment from cuts, bruises, smoke, mud, fire, etc..... Her hair does not.
DepthofField: I always turn off if given option for 3D but that's my preference."

Depends. Probably like 7+ minimum but exploring/tombs can add a ton.
I have no idea how good it is but you should probably get it. A 75 cents dlc single player map. Its hard to notice since you got to sift through all the crap lol.

Just trying it out now. The crosshairs are off and I can't change the 3d setttings. How do i fix that? Getting about 30fps on ultra with a 660 ti. Great buy for 12 bucks

30fps on a 660ti is pretty good no offense. Also the benchmark is a bit unfair expectations. There are areas in game where you will be luck to get half that. There isnt any actions/objects/ people/etc in that benchmark.
Its got a lot of features. Turn off Tressfx and you can get up to 10fps. AA/Tesselation are the next fps eaters. You can probably leave tesselation on. I think it uses super sampling as its AA. Which is literally increasing your resolution then shrinking it down. I honestly forget if it uses it but I'm pretty sure. That eats a lot of FPS. Either way Id turn AA off if I was in your boat and download SMAA or Sweetfx. Can probably ride it smooth with AA off/ no tressfx

Are crosshairs "off" or 2D. They shouldnt be 2D unless pirating. Was fixed in an old update. Unless something changed. No idea about other issue. Should check the main thread.

I hate to thread jack but I hate making another thread just for a sale that's ending so soon more. :)
Which of the other older Tomb Raiders still play well with 3D Vision? I have Anniversary, Legend and Underworld. I was thinking about picking up some of the older ones if they still do.
