this display is not qualified for 3d vision (asusg73jw)
Hi,
i got a new asus g73jw with 3d display (120hz). Everything worked fine for the first tests. but i wanted to get rid of all the unneccessary programs asus preinstalled, thats why i reinstalled windows 7 professional (instead of home premium) and installed the drivers from the asus-cd. now activating the 3d vision tells my "this display is not qualified for 3d vision".
What am i doing wrong?

If I had to guess ASUS probably uses a modified display/3d vision driver, that explicitly lists the hardware.
If the driver doesn't recognize the display EDID you can't enable 3d vision.
I got this before and realized that my monitor wasn't running at 120Hz. Please check your hardware (not software) and see what mode your monitor is in. You might have to reinstall your monitor drivers so that the nvidia drivers can see the true refresh rate of the monitor.
