This looks AMAZING! Far better than the screens which were already good enough, this was definitely worth the wait. Very glad I held off on the PS4 version, in fact I think I'll only use my PS4 for the exclusives now because of the absolute lack of 3D support for just about everything. If only The last of us, Bloodborne and The Order came to PC, imagine those games in 3D..
However I'm getting some crazy ghosting with the hair, the only way to fix it is to turn the depth down to 0% but that kills the 3D. Did I miss something or is everyone having this problem? Also the text can be quite off too, just like the hair, I have to close one eye to read. Maybe I should wait for the next release?

Turn off Order Dependent Transparency in game options - that fixes the hair.
Text is off in some menus because it can't be fixed right now - sometimes I just press ctrl-T to make it mono, but I spend very little time in the menus so I can live with that. Text is 2d in HUD because that is coupled to the menus (and some lighting and fire effects actually), so we have minimized messing with that.

Just updated the zip archive to include Mike's two shaders there, for swamp and ocean.

Thanks guys, you are THE BEST!
[s]Just wondering, can this fix be run with SweetFX? I can't see a d3dx.ini file in there for proxylib setting.[/s]
edit: never mind, there is something wrong with me, it is definitely there. Carry on being awesome.
Thanks again!
Just tried it last night and looks amazing, you guys are incredible. I only played to the point when the tutorial is over and you are dropped in the open world.
This game looks incredibly good, and performance on my 980 Strixes with latest drivers is very good (as compared to the Watch Dogs and Black Flag which are still stuttering like crazy! Who would have known that two of the best cards in the world are still not enough for some games!)
The only issue I've noticed so far is that when I move my view around, the landscape textures or shadows are flickering as if the wrapper keeps calculating/adjusting the coordinates based on view angle.
Is that something what comes with the fix? Any of you guys seeing the same thing?
I will test some more, it was a short session last night. I did not yet adjust the depth/convergnce at all in-game, and I did not try non-SLI. If you have any test ideas for me , please day so and I'll report my findings.
THANK YOU Mike and Bo3b again for such an amazing fix, I truly believe this game deserves it.

Hi - I am not seeing this and no one else has reported it. We explained that there are triangles at the screen edges (which is an artifact of the games frustrum culling not knowing about the 3D offset), but not general flickering over the whole scene...

I just stumbled upon this thread when trying to figure out how to get the 3dvision working for Mordor. I downloaded the files from github and put them in my mordor folder but it still looks funky. I am a little confused about how to get it going. Do I have to install other software to take advantage of the files? Any help would be awesome, and very much appreciated! also is there a donations paypal we can donate to for all your hard work?

Looks great! Though I wish there was away to move talon away from the camera a bit more. Sometimes he's a bit to close to look at him and the environment. Also I noticed on the map screen, the current position(in the map screen) for the player isn't rendered right in stereoscopic.
Edit: But this patch has made the game much more enjoyable. There are times where the game looks absolutely amazing in 3d.

Lower convergence will help with Talion - I play with him just inside screen depth - but this is a 3rd person game and that's what happens...
It's in the known issues about the map - the map shares the same shader as the bow cross hair, and so gets rendered at depth. We will be fixing this issue soon, but for now, just move the map around until the thing you want to look is no longer right in the middle of the screen.
