I have basically the same TV but the australian 200hz version UA46c7000wf
I have a video card with mini HDMI output, I assume is 1.4 also as it is latest generation Gigabyte GTX 460
Connected with HDMI 1.4 compliant 3d ready cable.
The computer does not detect the 3d display however, I can force mode to checkerboard output but this does not look 3d with the glasses. Only blurry without them.
you also meet all the requirements. You however, would be using the 720px2 @ 50Hz standard. I'm not sure why it's not working out, it is listed here in the nvidia compatibility table. http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html
Check out the link I posted above in this thread to the cyberlink forums post describing what is required for 3D blu-ray playback. It's possible I guess that certain displays are finnicky, and hence are not supported right away. (The substantiation of this statement comes somewhat from only certain TVs being listed as being compatibile with the 3DTV Play beta software (see first post in the thread in this forum).) Rest assured that if this is the case almost certainly your TV will be made to eventually work, as it meets the standards for 3D tv input, although I'm unable to verify this atm as the samsung website to download the UA46c7000wf manual is offline temporarily.

To that point : Last patch of PowerDVD 10 + Last Nvidia 260.89 and 3D Stereo activated in control panel, you should have your Samsung 3DTV go 3D and give the message "put your 3D glasses etc..."
You don't... So i think you should uninstall you Nvidia drivers and reinstall it... ;)

Thaanks for the tip, I now have it all working sweetly. I think the problem was I had upgraded the nvidia drivers and they were not installed properly.
Connected gtx460 to samsung UA46c7000wf by HDMI 1.4 compliant cable
Installed Nvidia drivers version 260.89 WHQL
Installed Cyberlink powerdvd ultra version 2113
Setup stereoscopic 3d in nvidia control panel
Set PowerDVD to HDMI 1.4 enabled 3D TV
Start 3d bluray playback the it automatically switches to 3d mode on the tv

It does change the resolution of the tv though so I guess 3d playback does not work in 1080 resolutions?

Something else that is strange is the audio does not get sent through the gtx460 HDMI with blu rays played with power dvd. I guess that is some problem with bitstreaming?
All other windows audio works fine.
If I set the audio output in powerdvd to the onboard optical spdif which goes straight to the receiver then I can get sound in powerdvd with blu rays though.

it is supposed to be in 1080px2 at 24Hz, it says so on the cyberlink website, so what resolution is it actually running at?
Somewhat related to your audio issue, Nvidia writes on their 3D website that the gtx 460, the card you're using, is the only one that has more extensive audio support-
"[4] Supports high definition 24-bit, 96 and 192 KHz multi-channel audio sampling rate support for compatible Blu-ray movies with NVIDIA Release 260 or higher driver release and compatible movie player software.
[5] Supports DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD audio bitstreaming support for compatible Blu-ray movies with NVIDIA Release 260 or higher driver release and compatible movie player software. "

Do I need to set 720px2? How do I do this?
There is no way to get 1080 playback?

I have the latest nvidia drivers but what is 3dtv software and do I need this before it will work?
There is many setup options checkboard/interlaced etc but the tv is not detecting any of these properly.

Thaanks for the tip, I now have it all working sweetly. I think the problem was I had upgraded the nvidia drivers and they were not installed properly.
Connected gtx460 to samsung UA46c7000wf by HDMI 1.4 compliant cable
Installed Nvidia drivers version 260.89 WHQL
Installed Cyberlink powerdvd ultra version 2113
Setup stereoscopic 3d in nvidia control panel
Set PowerDVD to HDMI 1.4 enabled 3D TV
Start 3d bluray playback the it automatically switches to 3d mode on the tv
Sweet as!

Installed Cyberlink powerdvd ultra version 2113
Setup stereoscopic 3d in nvidia control panel
Set PowerDVD to HDMI 1.4 enabled 3D TV
Start 3d bluray playback the it automatically switches to 3d mode on the tv
Sweet as!
It does change the resolution of the tv though so I guess 3d playback does not work in 1080 resolutions?
Connected gtx460 to samsung UA46c7000wf by HDMI 1.4 compliant cable
Installed Nvidia drivers version 260.89 WHQL

Something else that is strange is the audio does not get sent through the gtx460 HDMI with blu rays played with power dvd. I guess that is some problem with bitstreaming?
All other windows audio works fine.
If I set the audio output in powerdvd to the onboard optical spdif which goes straight to the receiver then I can get sound in powerdvd with blu rays though.
