Such a shame, Nvidia! We spend thousands and cannot play games in 3d!! And these ratings? Good, Fair, it's bullsh*t! It's perfect or not!!! We dont want to play games with half compatibility!!
If there was no Helix in our lives, 3D vision would be dead!
I'm sorry, I always bought nvidia, since Geforce 2 Ti, but now it's over. My next VGA will be an AMD, and I'm already selling my 3D vision kit for the first idiot who buys it.

Personally i don't expect a game to display proper in 3D unless it's native designed for such, however few games are. Trine 2 and Alice works great and they are designed with 3D in mind, but it's kinda silly to expect same results for others. I think we should be glad that we can even force it regardless just to see if it's satisfactory or not. Certainly not Nvidia's fault if developers support it or not.

Yeah. The problem is last year we had Nvidia supporting 3D vision or at least trying too. (witcher 2, Trine 2, Archam City, etc) and we even had a once in a while mod (Andrew Fear) This year we have no games and no mods.
I don't know if its good or bad that Nvidia lets us post whatever we want. What kind of company lets it's customers bash it over and over and not even care enough to ban or lock threads. Really if you look at it, they are encouraging us to spend money elsewhere (tridef, AMD) I wonder if they will even bother to delete or lock a thread that just says Nvidia sucks balls, and AMD RULES!!! Not that I'm gonna go and buy AMD cards unless they start to lock out the Nvidia driver from their future games. Tridef I think I will buy.

Problem is that AMD pretty much does have this round tied up. AMD cards are faster across the board in comparison to their Nvidia rivals at the same price. If it weren't for 3D I wouldn't bother with 3D, don't know how many others feel the same.

i am on the other hand do expect it to display in 3d from a company who claims to support most of the games or fix them when necessary... otherwise why sell such product. it's not cheap and it's not something you can say.. oh well no support lets play 2d then..not in my case and many others here i am sure.
i am sure that they can afford a few workers to focus only on 3d support and increase selling from consumers like us cause they know how important it is for us. (if only just by this forum alone) they're developing great technology
i am sure it's a picece a cake for them to determine and fix broken games already exist.

I said it before, I'll say it again, look to the indie devs for 3D support, you're not gonna see it from EA et alia of the biggins, cause they are too risk adverse and feature controlled by accountants. It's why indies get big and turn into Blizzard pre-activision and corporate monoliths go into administration.
And quite simply, indies are more passionate. I picked up Evochron Mercenary the other day, posted on the forums that I'd found some 3D issues and if they wanted I could post screencaps of the problems, within 10 hours they has asked me what needed fixing and if I knew what might be causing the problems.
It is funny though how games made before 3dvision existed look better in 3d than some of the newer, more recent games.
Games have gotten more advanced. Which is why games with simpler lighting/shadows more often then not work. (Like overhead games like diablo/starcraft/warhammer/red alert/etc) And tbh alot of games looked well upon in past often have a lot of issues.

It's not Nvidia's nor AMD's job to fix problems with video games, they do what they can within reason. Complain about 3D support for non 3d native games?? Complaints should be taken to the developers who are not even offering 3D to begin with. That would be far more productive going to the source wouldn't it?
Let devs and publishers know how important 3D is to you. Otherwise it's like complaining about lack of 3D movies and artificial support for them to TV makers.
AMD has it's share of problems too and just as many nit picker complaints cause this is PC...not console, it's a whole different world when creating for static hardware. There is no shortage of any PC related problems, that's for sure.

Well, I do have a few complaints about NVDIA:
1) Gives us better tools to Fix games ourselves
2) it would be really nice if they would be active on this forum
3) Don't advertise games for 3D vision (Borderlands 2) when in fact they don't support 3D vision
Just a few examples.

What Nvidia should be doing is using at least some of the money they are paid for 3D Vision gear and sponsors contributions to work with and encourage developers to make their games compatible. Probably not as profitable in the short term as just taking our money and running away. After all, we are dealing with the eastern approach to customer satisfaction, which is who gives a flying F???.
