Typoman, I just saw this on Steam, it was released in 2016 and uses the Unity 3D Engine. It reminds me of Limbo. Has anyone tried it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xk2Zc-8lIq8 https://store.steampowered.com/app/336240/Typoman/ About This Game Typoman is a puzzle platformer. You slip into the role of a character made of letters, struggling to make your way through a dark and hostile world. Despite your small stature you have a powerful gift: You can craft words which will have an effect on the environment. But choose your words wisely - they can either be a blessing... or a curse!
I came across this seeming gem from the creators of Gone Home: Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/343860/Tacoma/
Thanks for the heads up, I just added this to my Steam WishList :) It looks very interesting, what caught my eye is this statement "carries on that tradition of detailed, immersive, and powerful storytelling, while pulling players deeper into the narrative than ever before." They added a new feature. I can't recall seeing this in-game in anything before, just on DVDs and Blu-rays :P Commentary Mode Now Available! We are proud to announce that Tacoma has been updated to include over TWO HOURS of audio commentary from the developers who helped bring the game to life! Just start a new game in Commentary Mode, or enable Commentary in the Gameplay options. Tacoma Station is now populated with dozens of Commentary icons, providing insight from the programmers, artists, writers, designers and more who made Tacoma happen. Thanks, and happy exploring!

I picked it up during last steam sale, only 2-3 hours but quality game. To get perfect 3D just take the .ini file from DHR's awesome Unity Universal fix and use it with 32bit version of 3Dmigoto 1.3.11 (replacing the ini). Set the ini to use the 2017x unity fix, and you are good to go. The game looks amazing in 3D and almost feels VR-ish at times with the AR user interface thats in the game. Oh there was one issue, the rewind/FF controls did not display on my screen due to the high level of convergence I was using (it was moved offscreen). I would suggest turning off 3D briefly during the first AR "conversation" so you can learn how to rewind, FF, play - then turn 3D back on. hint: you need FF and rewind to see every part of every conversation. enjoy and thanks to DHR!

Another one that works with Unity fix: Near Death https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOagpU_pqmc only $3.74 right now at Humble Bundle. picked it up during steam sale as I am a sucker for snowy environments and it got good reviews. It works well with Unity fix, but if you turn convergence up too high the shadows get all screwy. So if your shadows are messed up, just lower convergence until they look ok. I can't comment on if the game is good, as I only tested the universal fix so far in the starting area and promptly froze to death :)

Mechanism looks like it could be a decent game, it's made by a single person. Comments state it was pretty buggy at release, some of which have been fixed. I added it to my Steam Wish List https://store.steampowered.com/app/645290/Mechanism/ Mechanism - - an adventure game about a lonely robot. Dive into a depressive steampunk world which has been infected with a strange disease called "Phlegm". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wU9937B0hug

Couldn't find the game engine used, but hopefully the universal fixes can be applied. Added to my wishlist too..

Not obscure indie game...but a great and nice surprise for me. Supraland http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2019/04/supraland-dx11.html If you like good Puzzles, some action and fun gameplay! Main story is about 14 hours...and that is 50% of the game.
