You can check out my Skyrim mod compilation here: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9718
It fixes the double image water with a workaround and many other issues with 3D Vision. There's some HTML5 Youtube videos attached as well, so you can check them out with Firefox 4+ and your 3D Vision glasses to get an idea of what it fixes and how water looks. Or you can check out pics here: http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/chizow/album/4f36e75a3785015014000004/

Apparently this mp4 file wont play properly in Nvdia 3d vision player without some third party codecs. Format will be converted to resolve this issue. It works in PowerDVD.

Nexus page updated with HeliX's "perfect" water fixes: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9718
One step closer to fully 3D Vision compatible. /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> HeliX's water fixes work with any other water mod, tested with Realistic Water Textures so far, example pics below. As usual, thanks to HeliX for his brilliant efforts and amazing mod tool.

Nice update. I have version 2.0 and saw I will have to get rid of the 3DVisionwater.esp. I can figure that out. Is there anything else I will have to do? I am guessing the v2.0 files will just be overwritten.
THANKS AGAIN CHIZ AND HELIX (and whoever else I am forgetting) for all the extra effort.
Side note: I highly recommend playing Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning with the Helix mod. It is simply stunning. Very colorful and I would say the 3D is perfect!

Yep that's it, just overwrite when it prompts you to. The only thing is if you have custom UI depth settings, you may want to copy out your \\shaderoverride\vertexshaders folder first or the default 0.95 values will overwrite yours. Then copy that folder back once you've installed V2.2. There shouldn't be any conflicts doing it this way, all the new shaders are for water only.
Here's a video of HeliX's "perfect" water shader fixes in HTML5 720p 3D with RWT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLm57qzQyZ0&feature=html5_3d
And yeah I saw his fixes for KoA and they look stunning. I'll have to pick that game up at some point as the reviews seem much better than the impression I got from the demo.

Fantastic work from you and HeliX Chiz but i was having trouble running the game after moving over all the files. After clicking play in the Skyrim menu a command box would come up quickly followed by an "explorer has stopped working. I troubleshooted it down to the d3d9.dll which i replaced with the one from your 2.1 pack. I also didn't include the dx9settings.ini although not sure if that was part of the problem cos I've been playing it since sorting it out and the water does look a hell of a lot better. Great work by you modders so us non modders (people that don't have a clue /unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> )can enjoy even more.

I usually don't post non-3D related stuff here but I recommend taking a look at this mod that replaces that awful "white paint" look snow has on some surfaces. In 3D that really sticks out bad and this makes the snow look a lot better:

Yes, I agree, especially since the author dropped using his own textures and it has no more color mismatches :)
@chiz, I've noticed that in v2.3 of the 3dvision full compatibility mod you've included your own fixes for sky/star/galaxy shaders. Could you perhaps explain the difference from using Dorkit's ones and maybe give a few comparison shots. Thanks in advance.

I've just been playing Skyrim and I stumbled on a bug with the water. I think it has nothing to do with the 3dvision fix, so I just wanted to ask if anyone else is getting it. I am using Realistic Water 2.0 and the spot is the lake west of Riverwood. here are the shots:
