Really? Nice. I have had bad luck with VSync in the past. I have an 8800 and with America's Army, I couldn't get any higher than 30-60fps... on 1024x768 to 1280x1024. It was awful! I turned it off and I can get her up to 95-100fps at 1600x1200 res.

Main - Driver setting - customize - DirectDraw and Direct3D settings - Antialias - Transparency antialiasing = none
Can I use multisampling or supersampling?
Does this overrides/get used in game settings (BF2)?
I'm away visiting family for the christmas period (hence the inactivity) but I'm very anxious to try this out.
Is it stable? Can we get pretty much any game to run with it?

Try unselecting the "Enable Load Library Hooking" - this can cause compatibility problems. You might not hear the beep, but the performance benefit should still be there.

Hi chopper, I'm not sure this utility is going to help me because there is an option in the advanced section of the driver to force tripple buffering on, I checked in the D3D Overrider section and all boxes are checked except " Force triple buffering in DirectDraw" am I missing something? Are you saying that forcing tripple buffering on in the driver panel doesn't always work? I'm going to try some older games with the "force triple buffering in DirectDraw" box ticked to see if older games play better.

You are way off.
I'm not at home now, but in the Rivatuner program directory, there should be another directory. Something like "tools" - something like that.
In there, there is a triple buffering utility. It's separate from the Rivatuner program.

The advantage of Rivatuner is some of the older videocards (e.g. 6800 series) didn't include support for this type of AA. With Rivatuner, it does.

I've never been big on benchmarks. It's definately a big boost for smooth gameplay.
The only adjustment you may want to unselect is the "Hook" option. It either works or it doesn't. The performance is the same either way, though.
All in all, 99% of my games run with it no problem.
