For Assassin's Creed 3 and 4, the difference between Nvidia's reprojection 3D and mike_ar69's full 3D mod is striking!
While the fake reprojection 3D is somewhat better than flatland, mike's full 3D implementation provides a full-depth, totally immersive experience that is far superior!
Nvidia... support (hire!) helix and mike to fix all games and to work with game developers to insure good 3D coding practices moving forward.
Your entire 3DVision product line is currently dependent upon them.
You have the potential to enable explosive growth of this product line.
Use it.

Well, my level of disappointment continues to rise. I tried the latest beta driver 337, and still Spec Ops The Line, and Assassins Creed do not work with HelixMods fixes for those games anymore. Nor does Helifax's fix for the new Wolfenstein, way too choppy, and I am running on a 780M, which until the most recent drivers, ran beautifully in 3D, and left everyone who tested it, stunned. Listen, I switched from Nvidia to AMD once already, and returned for the reasons I mentioned earlier in this thread. I hope I do not regret my decision, and for the love of gaming, please return the ability to support real Stereo 3D Nvidia! This fake garbage breaks a ton of games, and the ones that it doesn't break, the new 3D looks horrible when compared to the work of the folks at HelixMods. I guess I am stuck running my current 332 drivers until if/when Nvidia fixes this.

I will definitely move to AMD (cheaper+faster) when (if) 3D Vision dies. And 3D Vision will die in the moment our guys will drop to do the work for Nvidia.
The only reason i never look at AMD cards is 3D Vision

Thank you for introducing a toggle, but honestly you guys should just get rid of the fake 3D as others have said. Fake 3D causes headaches and is generally displeasing. Most would prefer 2D over it. At least make sure the HelixMod fixes aren't broken, they are essential even on some supposedly 3D vision ready games.
It's obvious you guys basically abandoned 3D Vision years ago, which is a shame because it brought me back to NVIDIA from AMD (way back when only CRTs were supported) and more recently prompted me to upgrade to a 770 that I would not have bought otherwise. Not to mention the 1500+ dollars I've spend on monitors, glasses and 3D Play software that barely get used due to your poor support.

^ this.
I try sometimes times to play this... "3D" (especially when replay Crysis 2 and 3), but always give up on it and switch to 2D
New driver is out. Issue doesn't appear to be resolved.

I last heard from Steve via PM on 27/5. He said:
"The team does not think the issues are directly related to CM, but something else and are starting regression testing drivers to try to isolate."

Have to say that 2x R9 290X that i have now is great. No microstutter that can be seen, it was laughable bad not so long ago with AMD crossfire but now i think it is better then NVIDIA(2x670). 3D with tridef is not so good(vs Helix Mod) but when it works it's great. I have been playing Dead Space 3 with it and it is one of the best 3D experiences i have ever had, only some space scenes do not look so good as design is rather flat. But i miss Helix Mod's all ready...NVIDIA, fix these issues and maybe my next GPU is from nVidia again.

Great News Josh!
It's good to see you posting here!
@Jamir
Well if you are still going for that Dual Passive Projection setup, AMD's Radeons are a better choice. Unless of course, Nvidia starts supporting the feature again on their consumer GPUs.

[quote="helifax"]Regarding ME2. I was able to solve the issue, by replacing 2 problematic vertex shaders (with older versions of the same shaders)
@eqzitara
I made an archive using the latest fix and those 2 replaced shader. eqzitara can you take a look and see what exactly is the diff?

Great job helifax! Thank you for the correction!
Josh, I'm new to everything regarding 3d and choose 3D vision because I love 3D (the real one)
I'm 2 days new and nothing I played works out of the box. nothing.
I've done a fast search and yet I'm aware that I need helifax and whoever his friends are to continue using what you are still marketing to sell (including an expensive asus monitor)
Please help us.
Thanks.

Thanks Josh, in my opinion Nvidia need to embrace these community fixes even if they are not officially supported. Ideally you'd somehow take them into account when you update drivers otherwise it become a bit of a lottery and a step in the wrong direction.
