What are the chances? New Year....New Wish list? ( New Wish List is up)
  1 / 2
EDIT: The "new" wish list is located on the helixmod blog site. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2016/01/wishlist.html <----New Link bo3b created his list on 01/25/2014, so being that the list is almost 2 years old and a lot of the games have been fixed, I wondered if a new list could be considered? I hope you don't mind me bringing this up bo3b or that I quoted your previous posts and added the orange text :)
How about another voting list for games that are presently broken in 3D Vision, that you'd like to see fixed? I made another db and web page for voting on, and adding, broken games. We all know of course that there are no promises, and some may never be fixed. This is a wishlist, but hopefully one that reflects the most desired fixes. This also gives you the chance to put all your votes behind specific games that might otherwise not get attention. Please head on over here, and make your votes: http://lists.bo3b.net/wish/index.php

Well, in any case, I hope the wishlist I set up is still used. I'd been meaning to put one together for a long time, where people could vote on the game fixes they most wanted. It seems to me that this list can be helpful. If I have the choice of working on a few different games, unless I have a personal preference, I'm more inclined to work on something that has a lot of people interested, or even a few people who are keenly interested. This seemed like the perfect venue. I'm pretty sure I can speak for people who do the real fixing that one thing they would really like is for their fix to be played. The more the better. I fixed the bugs in the web page, and now you can use anything in the name that is right, including that ', &, and even <, >, and anything else a proper name needs. Sorry for those embarrassing glitches, this is my first php coding (yikes!). All prior votes that weren't working are now tallied and correct. You can also add notes to a title (even after the game has been added) to describe the problems seen. The notes are shown if you hover over a title. Not the best thing, but it's what I've got right now. I expect to keep this list up indefinitely. Please vote!

And a happy new year to one and all! This is no problem to keep using this older wishlist. When I get a chance I plan to make a new list that will be found HelixModBlog itself, and I'll let you know to put in your votes. There are a couple of improvements I want to make.

I was hesitant to hit the post button, because I wasn't sure how it would be received. But I know the list was getting old and that our community has grown. So a new list would better reflect the current "wishes" of the current community. Plus many games on and off the list have been fixed. It's remarkable to look at the list on the HelixBlog and the number of games working in Stereo 3D, thanks to all of the contributors.

Thanks for the reminder, I've updated my votes in the list. Primarily for Arkham Knight, MGSV, and I'm keeping my previous votes for Kentucky Route Zero. Though as it's Unity, there's a pretty good chance I'll be able to fix it myself with DSS's tools, once I get around to it (which I'll probably only do once all the episodes are released). Perhaps we should wipe off the fixed games from the list though, if possible? Might also be worth setting a maximum number of votes each user can place per game, maybe 65 or so.

Added Divinity Original Sin: Enhanced edition. The game got a dx11 conversion with a hell of a lot of new content and is sadly completely broken. (I cant even to start up correctly in 3dvision)

OK, not quite as good as I'd like, but since you asked for it, it's a fresh list for 2016, we can start anew: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2016/01/wishlist.html I added it as a page off of HelixModBlog, with the central nav-bar, so you can get to it easily. One reason I wanted to add this here is to give people a place to make requests without cluttering up other game posts. It's kind of annoying to have made a cool fix, only to have people say, "yeah cool, can you fix X?". Let's redirect them to this wishlist. This one is a little different from what we learned last time. #1 was that some people are lazy and/or care only about a single game and were slamming 100 points into a single game. That's OK, but defeats the purpose of the list, which is to get you to rank the ones you care about. This time, you still get 100 points, but only 30 points max per game.

Thanks bo3b, I've put my votes in. Not sure why anyone would request Towerfall though, that's a retro pixel art type of game. I doubt it would be possible to get it running in 3D.

No idea. Towerfall and Darkest Dungeon were voted on by cworboys with his only votes of 15 apiece. Maybe he's thinking they can be layered like Limbo. As long as votes are not obviously trying to game things, I'm willing to let them stay.

Thanks bo3b (I know most of you already know this) I'd like to reiterate to all that this is a "Wish List" There is no guarantee that a game can or will be fixed Also keep in mind that for the "most part", games in early access or recently released are ignored until they are fully patched and playable and in their final form. D-Man11 - maybe you need to edit your original post, and remove the link to the old wishlist ! I noticed that Batman: Arkham Knight has 141 votes on that list. Anyway - it's allways nice to have some 3D dreams for the future, allthough I allmost feel like a spoiled child allready, when browsing the Helixblog :)

Most of that is because people were told to keep voting on the old wish list until a new one was made. I don't think anyone expected bo3b to have it done so fast. I'll add the new link to the top of the page though. Thanks for the suggestion.

I added Need For Speed 2015 (which is out now on consoles and looks like the NFS game I've waited 10 years for). It will be released this spring for PC. Uses Frostbite and will be almost guaranteed to be broken.
