3D Gamer Review from VIP Technologies
I received my 3D Gamer today, after playing hopscotch with USPS. It's nice & small, and the box it ships in will fit in a mailbox. It's smaller than an external USB 2.5" drive, and has a nice metal enclosure. HDMI in, HDMI out, and USB for power. A mini-USB to USB cable is included.
I'm using a Viewsonic PJD6531W, which has been very nice for 3D so far. I took the out from my Pioneer receiver (which now I finally have a reason to use a 3D-ready receiver), into the box, and projector into the HDMI out.
It was recognized right away, and the PS3 acknowledged a 3D device & allowed me to set the screen size. Using the output from the receiver allows the audio from HDMI, while passing the signal along to the 3D Gamer.
I started Tumble, which is the one I've been waiting to play in 3D. It recognized there was 3D available, and there it was, glorious double images!
I'm using the Ultra Clear glasses, and it was cool to see it in 3D, finally. Even after seeing all the other awesome 3D, this was the last hurdle in the 3D journey (for now).
Huge thanks to VIP for producing this box, getting it out there, and pricing it reasonably. I ordered it immediately on sight, as I knew this was exactly what I needed. I was hoping someone would make this exact converter, and here it is...
I would have purchased a 3DXL, but they dropped the ball on that one. Even with the ridiculous price, I would have bit. Now I have the best of all worlds, and not another set-top box to find a place for in the rack.
I'm currently saving for 3ds and some games, but I'll try to get this for my h5360 now that it looks to work really well. Gran turismo 5, killzone 3, uncharted 3, motorstorm apocalypse, shadow of the colossus, ico, etc are good enough reason /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I would rate this product an A+, 100%.
