Just tested the beta release and it looks like the running shadow and spiky stick issue has been resolved. The 3D experience in this game is superb. It looks very realistic. :))
Thanks Mike and the Team for your fantastic works. :))

Thanks for the offer :-) I'm not really close to Philly, I live in DC. Sounds like a cool job though, are you an ex (real life) racer?
I wish, just a weekend hobby when I can afford it lol. I think I mentioned this earlier but I am currently having to sell my track car and it will be a few years before I can get back out, so this game in 3D means a lot. Thank you!
The latest version works great, I haven't seen any issues. I went to record a hotlap with FRAPS to share (I have a couple #1 times in the world currently) but it seems to be glitching while trying to record in 3D. It records mostly in 2D and every once in a while throws in a frame from the other eye (which is often distorted/glitched). Is this something the wrapper might be interfering with? Are there any known good 3D recording solutions?
Hi Cheezeman, I'm in Philly and is just thinking about trying my GT6/pCars experience on a real track. Would you mind give some intro and perhaps teach some technique about how to get started/drive?

Watch lots of youtube videos of the track you'll be driving and try to memorize the course as best you can before you get there. Always listen to / do exactly what your instructor says. Don't get caught up in trying to 'race' other cars, only worry about yourself (track days are not races!!). Most important by far is what you do with your eyes, always look where you want to go (especially important during oversteer), and look far down the track and through turns. In most cases, you should be looking at the exit of the turn (the 'track out' point) before you even enter the turn, however most people will only be looking 50 feet in front of the car. What you do with your eyes is by far the most important tool for driving fast.

According to bo3b it works but I have no way of telling. There is no way I can buy every game where my wrapper can be used. I lack some features used in Far Cry 4 fix. Luckily 3Dmigoto appears to be working in 8.1 there. Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor I can run successfully on neither wrapper last time I checked.
Back on topic, I just don't know if the beta works on 8.1/10

To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?

Yes, just to be clear, 3Dmigoto has always worked on some games in 8.1, just not all. It has never worked on Dragon Age for example.
Win 8.1 and Win 10 should be very similar experiences from the compatibility standpoint. If you upgrade, you should expect to have some extra problems to solve, because brand new software is never as stable or debugged as older stuff. If you'd rather just play, think twice. If you enjoy tweaking stuff and jacking around with the computer, I'm sure it will be interesting.

There appears to have been a patch in the last few days that has broken some things. Anyone else getting this? Screen below. I forgot to check other tracks before I signed off but by the looks of it I imagine it's global (this was at Barcelona).

Thank you mike_ar69 for all your work to play this game in 3D.
Despite the lastest game 1.4 patch and your 1.2 beta fix, I still got shadows problems under Windows 8.1 64 bits, as you can see on the joined pictures....3D vision 2, 1 GTX 770 latest nvidia drivers. Any sugggestions in the graphical parameters (more than your instructions on helixmod) ? Thanks again ...

Thanks for the feedback. Something seems wrong with your installation from the looks of your screenshots. Please make sure that you completely uninstall all old components, especially the ShaderFixes Folder, before installing the new fix. In the meantime, can you let me know which tracks they were and I will have a look.

Each time I update with your new fix, I use the unistall.bat to clean the files...
The bug shaders is general and with each track, you can see "the man" hereunder ...
The first three pictures, that is Francorchamps :-) You bet I 'm belgian :-)
Don't worry, it's not important, I've so much on the fire (GTA V, FC 4, Witcher 3, ...) ;-)

Tried the latest beta 1.2 from that page and unfortunately the game just stays stuck at the loading screen for me.
This is how I installed the files to the pCARS directory:
To try this out-
1) rename the ShaderFixes folder out of the way, then run the uninstall.bat file to clean up everything in the game folder. That will remove everything from the 3Dmigoto version, including the ShaderFixes, which you need.
2) Rename the folder back to ShaderFixes.
3) Drop in the Flugan's wrapper, all the pieces, including the .ini file. Don't include any ShaderFixes folder you might have there, as those folders are game specific.
4) Run the game with that setup, and Flugan's wrapper should load and run Mike's ShaderFixes.
5) Let us know if it works or not. :->

It probably is user error as Win 8.1 users have said the game works for them.
