Anyone running these in SLI having an issue? The drivers install fine it seems. I've tried both standard and clean install. But when I restart it defaults to SLI-off, and when I go to enable SLI and Auto PhysX, it locks up every time when "applying changes". Have tried wiping, re-installing; I can't get these to work in SLI with my two Palit GTX 460 2GB versions. Any ideas? The drivers from CD 1.34 version worked fine in SLI.

Just Cause 2 looks fantastic on 82". Powerdvd 10 Ultra does an amazing job converting 2D movies to 3D.

The GTX 460 supports DTS-HD and DD-HD because it is the GF-104 chipset. You need an audio receiver cable of decoding HD sound sources of course.
The GTX 470/480 however, do not support HD sound, but do allow PCM and Dolby Digital/DTS 5.1. I was a little disappointed there, too. But PCM is basically the same as HD, and you'd need one saweeet home audio setup to notice the difference.

I understand that LPCM can give you 7.1 sound, but how is it being handled by a Bluray disc with DTS-MA or TrueHD? Will the 5.1/7.1 sound be "pass-through" or "converted" to LPCM? How does that work.
I do have an Integra DTC 9.8 that can decode DTS-MA and TrueHD as well as anything in between, but I just would like to know how it's being done. What will be sent to my pre-amp if the Bluray disc is DTS-MA for example?
Currently I am using the Xonar HDAV and it works OK, but not great. Since I have to duplicate monitors, send one HDMI to the projector and the other HDMI to the Xonar I have a considerable lag in sound. I do this because the Xonar and the Integra cannot pass 120hz to my H5360 for 3D... If I could get full HD sound (DTS-MA and TrueHD) with my dual GTX470 - I would be in heaven...

I've read that dual GTX 460 (w/ the 2GB non-standard version, like the Palit) can beat or come close to dual 470s, at least on 3D Vision Surround. Apparently the extra memory really helps w/ 3D, at least with three screens. I saw some preliminary benches from someone doing a review of the Palit somewhere. So I had one 470, new I needed to go SLI to upgrade in the future to surround, so I've decided to do SLI w/ the 2GB 460s.
I've got two Palits running well so far, and am going to sell that EVGA SC version 470. Maybe if HD audio is a big deal in your scenario you'd consider doing the same? I've got the 460s mildly overclocked now @ 800/1600 and I'm happy thus far, though I can't get these most current 260.63 drivers working (freezes on enabling SLI mode.)

So I had one 470, new I needed to go SLI to upgrade in the future to surround, so I've decided to do SLI w/ the 2GB 460s.
I've got two Palits running well so far, and am going to sell that EVGA SC version 470. Maybe if HD audio is a big deal in your scenario you'd consider doing the same? I've got the 460s mildly overclocked now @ 800/1600 and I'm happy thus far, though I can't get these most current 260.63 drivers working (freezes on enabling SLI mode.)

The GTX 470/480 however, do not support HD sound, but do allow PCM and Dolby Digital/DTS 5.1. I was a little disappointed there, too. But PCM is basically the same as HD, and you'd need one saweeet home audio setup to notice the difference.
