You could see if Steam allows you to add it to your library. I double checked, my game version is 1.3, it was the launcher that updated.
I could only ad a shortcut, and that didn't do anything..
Suddenly it came to my mind that there was a community fix for it !
I checked the install dir, wich was the same as last time I played it, the fix was still present and removing it made the game work again !
So the update or new a driver has broken Chiri's convergence unlocker :/
Huh, I never knew this had 3D support. I played through some of it on PS3, but never finished it. Might be worth revisiting.
I would have svorn that every one in here knew that this a 3D Vision Ready title :)
I can higly recomend it, buy it next time it's on sale somewhere..

I'm someone else that meant to play this game but hadn't gotten around yet. I gave it a shot based on this thread (steam version) without the Helixmod fixes. Confirm dx11 3D is terrible, the very first 3D scene has the cars in 2D while the characters are at depth, so it looks like the car passengers are floating outside and next to the car. Pretty funny. Utterly unplayable.
In dx9, I couldn't log in initially. When it asks you for your password, clicking on where you're trying to enter it wouldn't focus the cursor so that you could type the password in. I managed to get in by creating a local profile offline account which bypasses having to log in.
Confirm that dx9 performance is pretty terrible, even with two 980Ti's in SLI I'd get brief microstutters while walking around, though this was on all max settings. Lowering some settings like shadows and LOD to performance seemed to help, though. Otherwise it looks perfect so far during the first investigation scene, though I haven't gotten to the "Phelps introduction" with the messed up faces that was referenced on the previous page of this thread.

I have an issue with this game. I can launch it just fine, but the screen with main menu doesn't actually show the menu. The brick wall doesn't have "New, Resume, etc" writings. Looks like shadows don't work.
With the Steam version, I have to delete/rename the GameOverlayRenderer.dll to be able to run this with the Helixmod fix and avoid crashes.
Same here - deleted GameOverlayRenderer.dll and game is working fine, convergence can be adjusted. Maybe abit slow on GTX 980, but playable (3dvision 720p).

SLI is the biggest culprit. I haven't tried playing this game in ages, but I discovered a long time ago that the performance is worse in SLI. Try it with a single card and see if it improves; it did for me.

Can you confirm that convergence is adjustable without the fix ??

It is not adjustable without fix. But after deleting GameOverlayRenderer from steam directory, and installing the fix the game is working, and convergence can be adjusted by hotkeys.
