My glasses are broken
I have pull the plug when the glasses was charging (my v1.0 glasses, that I bought with my samsung 2233RZ monitor) and they are broken.

Now my screen is totally flat, what I have to do?

1) Do I have to buy the new v2 model with dongle, or without the dongle?... is the dongle exactly the same for v1 and v2?

2) Will I notice any improvement in terms of quality, ghosting, lighning?

3) What is the recommended price?

Wait a sec. Is it Inverted?
1.yes
2.no, need a compatible display for v2 improvements. Though in my opinion v1 had some ghosting that had nothing to do with monitor. v2 doesnt.
3.Find it around $80.00 bucks. If its higher keep looking. Ebay is a good place to look(make sure its listed as new).

Ok, I've ordered 3D Vision v2 glasses (without the usb emmiter) for 76 €. I was reading the FAQ about yesterday, and only one more question that I can't find the answer:

If I buy only the v2 glasses, will my actual v1 emmiter cause any kind of disvantate if I buy a V2 monitor in the future?... maybe v2glasses+v2monitor+v1emmiter is not a good idea.

In other words..., is v1 emiter EXACTLY the same as the emiter that cames with v2 glasses? I have read that v2 glasses and v1 emmiter are "compatible", but what "compatible" mean exactly?, is there any difference between both emmiters?

The V2 glasses are backwards compatible with the previous monitors and V1 emitter.

In order to use the new NVIDIA 3D LightBoostâ„¢ technology, you'll need the V2 Emitter, V2 Glasses and a V2/3D Lightboost compatible monitor such as the Asus VG278H.

Then, if you need V2 emitter to use lightboost, it is not a good idea to buy only the v2 glasses (without the v2 emitter)..., unless of course you plain to buy a future monitor with the v2 emitter integrated (but who knows what monitor is going to buy in the future?)

Then I'm going to change my order for the kit glasses+emitter (fortunatelly I'm still on time).

V1 emitter is compatible with lightboost. it's just relaying a signal.

so if im reading this right i can use my v1 emitter and save on just buying glasses. i do have a problem after my psu shorted out my emitter doesn't always boot up and i have to unplug it replug it in and do set up all over again. would it be better just to buy a whole new kit to use with my Samsung 22" till i can spare the cash for a new 3d v2 light bost monitor. mane reason i want the upgrade is i where eye glasses and v1 glasses are very comfy, not to mention my emitter problem.
