Thanks Soublstr. I got the 3d working, but so far the experience is subpar. I have to be doing something wrong. Because 3dTV play still looks superior than line intervened swapped. I followed all of your steps and tried Trine 2. but the ghosting with color bug ruins it for me. I even went out last night and bought a $80 HDMI cable from bestbuy that advertises 4k 3d.. and I still had the same issue. Im actually considering getting a refund on the TV. the 4k picture is beautiful, but I bought it for the 3D. I still got one more week to return it. So I'll keep on trying stuff.. I really want to keep it. But If I can't get it to work its not worth it to me.
Thanks for all fo your help!

3Dtv play is pretty bad and on a passive screen is even worse since the resolution is lower. The input lag makes it almost unplayable playing on 1080p @ 24hz. But the 3D still looks better than what Im getting right now. no ghosting, no color bug and just a good clean 3d picture without any sort of pollution. Its not ideal, but when I use to compare with Line Intervened swapped the 3d looks better.
Would love to get a similar quality with a 1080p resolution per eye, and no input lag.
then I'd be set.

Maybe this would work for 1080P using the original EDID override Acer HR274H 3D Monitor EDID Override.
I use this on my Samsung UN55HU9000.
Remember to use the eye-swapper software.

Also for what it's worth, I do not have 3DTV Play installed at all. I'm guessing you're probably wiping out your drivers between these tests, but if you have 3DTV Play installed while trying to do the 4K EDID "Optimized for Nvidia Geforce" it might be causing conflicts.

Still waiting for my E6 but, with all my other OLED/LED LG 4K TVs, I can leave 3DTV Play installed concurrently with joker18's EDID mod without issue or interference.
however the 3d looks like fake 3d in line interlaced swapped.
3D checkbox in game options must be unchecked, it turn fake 3D. Real 3D there - http://helixmod.blogspot.ru/2015/08/crysis-3-dx11.html
When I started gaming today, I noticed that 3D was borked and all my 3D keyboard shortcuts were gone. I realized after some investigation that an NVidia driver came through Windows Update and updated me from 376.33 to 376.53. The update didn't remove my EDID driver, but it obviously reset my 3D settings.
The Nvidia "test stereoscopic 3D" test image seemed to work fine, but games were unplayably bad...far worse than simple color ghosting.
What ended up fixing it for me was very strange:
[olist]
[.]Right-click desktop and open Display settings[/.]
[.]Click "Advanced display settings"[/.]
[.]Toggle "3D display mode" off (I then ran Trine, which was 2d only)[/.]
[.]Toggle "3D display mode" on (run Trine 2 again, and it worked)[/.]
[/olist]
This seems VERY strange, but that seems to have restored the 3D back to the same working condition I had with my previous driver.
It seems like a long shot, but maybe some of you could try toggling that Windows 3D display mode setting and see if that does anything.
Also, what is the TV aspect ratio set to? There is a setting called 'just scan' which affects makes the colour problem go away but breaks 3D
Ya to fix this color problem ON LG TVs you have to change your Icon in the Input Selection to PC.
To get to the Input Selection hold down the Input button on your magic remote.

Once once you select the PC icon it will disable Just Scan & many other things.
If you don't do this the Even Row of pixels will be black and white. This is why you see the range effect of discoloration.
I guess I will also make my own custom EDID.
For the 55UH8500 since I want to see if I can get HDR working.
