3D vision kit FPS FPS question
Hi all,

I'm using my 3D setup at the moment on Call of duty 4.
But my FPS stays @ 60 while i know it can get to 125.
Is this a bug of the 3D set or is it just something i need to install to get it to 125?
In game i have standing it on 125 but i only get 60....

I'm using a Gigabyte 560 GTX SOC so...
Please help me i realy need 125 FPS :(

3D Vision locks, FPS to 60 FPS per eye in 3D Vision, for 120HZ, this is standard. If you want higher fps, you will have to play without 3D Vision. TOTAL REFRESH RATE=120hZ=60hz(Left eye)+60hz(Right Eye), so you get that 3d depth in 3D Vision on 120hz 3d pc monitor.

1. You don't need 120Hz. Seriously. You are NOT that fast.

2. You do have 120Hz. Unless whatever event you are trying to react to appears only to one eye, you will be shown the image in less than 1/120'th of a second. It will take a maximum of 1/60th of a second to appear to both eyes so you can get the 3D effect but you don't need that to know that something just popped up in front of you.

why would you use 3D for competitive gaming in the first place?

He might not NEED it, but he might notice the difference and prefer it.

Why not?

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530

The OP asks a legitimate qestion, but instead of helping him, people reprimand him for wanting 125 Hz.

OP,
Sounds like you are locked to Vsync. The fix depends on the cause so we need more info, especially your 3D software, settings, and the complete description of your display type, model number, etc.
