highlorddave, just for the record, I'm on Windows 10 with ROG Swift and I'm not having that issue.
Thanks for the feedback, only difference I can think is that previously I had the rog swift display driver installed but on windows 10 I have the generic windows monitor driver as I could not fond a windows 10 driver. Are you perhaps using an older ROG Swift driver from a previous windows edition?
I've never even found a driver specific to the ROG Swift. The disk that came with it only had manuals. Couldnt find any online either. Ive only ever had the generic driver running it. Only issue I've had is the damn 3D/SLI bug.

Interesting tidbit about multi-card systems with Win10. If you are using an older card for PhysX, this might cause you some trouble. http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3707/

Other graphics card(s) with different WDDM mode will fail to load driver. lol, that's BS. It will suck on the new Mirror's Edge if it heavy on the PhysX, like the first. Nice way to get W10 users to pony up some more cash. Of course most are using Kepler/Maxwell cards anyways and Fermi's will start dropping off the supported list starting with the 4XX cards.. Plus Fermi's will not fully support dx12. I think Keplers also only have partial dx12 support. Testing Lords of The Fallen right now, running into a couple issues. There's a broken effect that I think is probably the AO, and I don't think SLI is engaging properly. I say this based on an unscientific eyeballing of my performance (compared to Win8), and because I'm getting a few halos which can be removed by switching the 3D Migoto fix to single-card mode.

I think in the INI file there is a param we set for this. Try to play with it and see if it improves stuff;) I haven't tested this one on Win10 yet...

That's what I was referring to when I mentioned switching 3D Migoto to single-card mode. The ini tweak for single card got rid of the halos, which suggests to me that SLI wasn't kicking in for this game at a driver level. AO was broken either way though. However I do have some "good" news relating to this. It's not a Windows 10 issue, it's a driver issue. I just tested, and I get the same behaviour on Win8 under 355.60. I don't have the inclination to go back and test previous drivers under Win10 though, I'll just stick with 347.88 on Win8 for this game.

Interesting discussion about how SecurRom and SafeDisc DRM has died with Win10. If you have older games that run SecurRom still, they won't work on Win10. http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2015/08/windows-10-wont-run-games-with-securom-drm-says-microsoft-2/ It definitely includes CD based games, but it's not clear if that includes SecurRom in games off Steam for example. http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/The_Big_List_of_3rd_Party_DRM_on_Steam#SecuROM Interesting games there include Batman Arkham Asylum (not GOTY), Crysis and Crysis Warhead, Grand Theft Auto IV. If someone has one of those on Win10, it would be worth knowing if they still work.

I have some of those others, but they use GFWL too (GTA IV, original AA) so I'm not even going to bother with that headache.

Crysis and Crysis Warhead works in Windows 10. At least up to the main menu. Call me lazy. Don't have original AA just GOTY. But have original AC & GOTY.

How is the gaming performance in win 10? Are any current-gen (next-gen is current-gen now as dx12 games are next-gen now :P) performing better?

A non-gaming question: Has someone got a software Bluray player running on Win10 that works with 3D vision? I am currently using Total Media Theatre 5 on Win8.1 to play 3D Blurays. Apparently, Total Media Theatre 6 does not play Bluray on Windows 10 at all, and since it has been abandoned by Arcsoft, it doesn't look like that's going to change...
