Monitor keeps turning on / off
  1 / 2
Whenever I'm going in some game, where I'm going to use 3D vision, my monitor keeps turning on and off, as if it was trying to change resolution.
Then only fix, is if I minimize the game, by doing Ctrl+alt+del or just alt+tab, and then going in the game again. This I might have to do some times, before it works.

Anyone knows how to fix this :( ? Pissing me off, and sometimes I can't get rid of it, which means I can't play the game..

If every game is like this, the monitor might have problem such as broken capacitor.

I am having the same issue, where the monitor turns on / off.
It only happens when i am using Stereoscopic 3D, and it happens in certain games more often then in others.
So far i noticed sometimes it helps when i replug the USB cable from the IR Emiter this helps sometimes for a couple of hours.

I'm having the same issue, and reseating the graphics card and checking the USB connections doesn't seem to help. Along with the double imaging at the top of the monitor I'm thinking I may have to return the 2233RZ and wait for the 24" monitors...

This is my system:
Q6600 @ Stock
8800GTX
4GB Ram
Windows 7 64 bit

i made a topic that includes the problem but none of the big heads seems willing to help with a problem that i believe its quite serious. i think we need to address problems like this directly to the big heads so a solution might be found before someone snaps and throw his rig out the window(guess who that someone who spend a lot of money on 3d is /verymad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':verymad:' /> )

I had similar problems before. I think it was conflicting with some other programs running the background. Try kill all non-essential processes and run again. See if that fixes it.

I had that same issue when I was running Vista 32 and also when I upgraded to Win7 64. However if I used drivers from CD 1.08 these issues were gone in both OS's. So try using different driver versions.

Samsung HL61a750
Q6600
8800GT
4gb RAM
Win7 x64

I've started to have this problem occasionally as well. In my case I think it's possible it is software in the background screwing around, as it does seem to correlate with Steam news pop ups. I've disabled those in Settings -> Interface and I'll see if it goes away.

Yeah, after fooling around with my overclocks and trying everything under the sun, it appears to be a problem with newer drivers. I'm about to try 1.15 drivers, I'll report my results.

I went back to 1.15 drivers, and all issues disappeared. No more white flashes, no more driver halting/restarting in the middle of the game.

Nothing to do with crazy high clock speeds or background software. Running 8800 ultras in sli, windows vista 64.
