3D short film "The Shadow of Justice"
Hey guys,
probably most of you already know about our short film "The Shadow of Justice" from the MTBS forums or Bloody's blog. But since I can't get it featured on Nvidia's page I figured I should also present the film right here. We produced the short film over the last 8 months and as far as I know it's the first German amateur short film in 3D.

It is in German but I created English subtitles for you guys. It wasn't that easy to create those in 3D because you have to place them correctly in the 3D space if you don't want to destroy the 3D effect. If you want to enjoy the 3D version without flying subtitles just watch the German original version.
For the production we used a side-by-side rig using the HD HV30 and HV20. Because we already own these cameras and also the rest of our equipment it was basically a no-budget production. Except for the catering we didn't put any money into it. In post production I used the Zalman 3D Monitor and the Acer H5360 for previewing the material in 3D. The editing was done in Adobe Premiere Pro and the compositing in Adobe After Effects.

I hope you like it. We put a lot of effort into it.
By the way. For everyone that is interested and can speak German, we were interviewed by the Slashcam magazine: http://www.slashcam.de/artikel/Interviews/...Tuecken---.html

I saw it discussed on http://3dvision-blog.com and MTBS and am glad you made a post here as well. Its clear you guys put a lot of work into this and I hope many people watch it. It is the only free live-action 3d film available to my knowledge, and extremely well done.

btw Thanks for putting in the effort to add the subtitles. The trailer was fun to watch in German, but it's nice to know whats going on in addition to the 3d :)

Did Nvidia give you a reason they won't show it on their page? That page seems very out of date.

The movie page ( http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D_Vision_3D_Movies.html ) has a form but it doesn't seem to work (it always resets after submitting) and I can't find an email adress to send them the film.

This is great! I watched it twice...once for the 3d and again to read the subtitles.
Many thanks for your efforts.
