Stereoscopic Driver 7800 GO? Support for GO stereoscopic drivers?
Will there EVER be a stereoscopic driver for the 7800 GO implementations? I have a GeForce 7800 GT for my desktop, and with the released 3D Stereoscopic driver/video driver and boy is this impressive.
BUT, I purchased a DELL XPS laptop SPECIFICALLY with the Nvidia 7800 GO GPU, expecting that I would have the same possiblity to use my Emagin 3D visor. This as been over 4 months now, and I am no closer than ever...
However, as all in this forum know, to expect a timely stereoscopic build seems to be a dream.
NVIDIA what's up with this? Many of us have clunked down money specifically for the stereoscopic support, and it somehow doesn't seem quite fair..
How hard can it be to release a matching stereoscopic driver, when you release a video driver? I am a long time developer, and know that all things are simply when viewed externally, but I really think you need to inform the community of what the expectation should be?
NVIDIA Stereoscopic developers (or developer), chime in and give us some insight as to my this is so complex (or perhaps non-important?).
I hate to fuss, and I know we are probably a small group, but never forget that probably most of us in this forum are a bit progressive ( a kind word for geeks and nerds), and therefore influence lots people and opinions, so don't right us off.
Give us a little time, a little more software support, and keep us informed, and you would probably get a lot more Christmas cards.

The Emagin visor is really nice and works great with the Desktop 7800 GT. My son and I both play games on the visor, and for the most part, it gives a great immersive experience.
The visor also has a head tracker. It works, but has limited appeal during game play.
I just wish I ad a way to carry this on the road with my laptop!
