Nvidia just released a new set of WHQL drivers on their main website. One interesting thing I have noticed is that I force vsync off I can go over the 60 FPS cap with 3D enabled but it seems I get more ghosting this way so I went back to forcing it on with adaptive enabled.

Thanks for the info, looks like they removed the S3D Vsync/framelock maybe. I'll check it out later, my main concern atm is some momentary dips in FPS in Diablo 3 in 3D with a ton of crap on screen, but I think that may be a CPU issue more than anything.

That wasn't happening to you before? Vsync has been broken with my GTX680 in 3d vision with every driver now. I can't even force it in some games.

It has worked on my 680GTX cards since I got them as far as I know. I guess I never noticed that I could go above 60FPS because I always had vsync enabled. I wonder if having 2 cards in SLI affects it. I will probably keep forcing it because it seems to produce more ghosting from what little testing I did with it off.

I had just assumed that it was broken for everyone. If you check the hardware canucks gtx690 review you'll see games above 60fps in 3d vision. Same thing with alienbabeltech in the GTX680 and 690 review. The pcper review too.
It looks like I can force it via the control panel too, nice.

When i first got my 670's they ran like crap, tryed abit of blackops and it was dropping frames or something, infact all games was doing something dodgy in the way of fps.
Nearly finished blops on these drivers, 3d is working very good here, just the odd gpu spike or dip, can't wait for better drivers, these 670's will fly :)
Just had a baddass xbox mp blops player test it out and he gave it teh thumbs up, very smooth :) lol

I seem to have better performance all around with these drivers. Huge differences in Dirt 3 and Just Cause 2 allowing me to completely max graphics settings and still get great FPS. I still need to do some more testing, but so far these drivers are win for me.

I'd be curious to see Oil Rush screenshots now that it's 3D Vision Ready. Very nice to see rfactor2 added to the list as well.
It's a bit unsettling though to see "good" on dirt showdown and "fair" on the new resident evil /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />
also apparently rayman is nearly flawless, strange it's "good" only.
The new 301.42 drivers killed my 3d stereo in some games. I had to do a restore to 2 days before to get back version 296.10 which works. I'll wait until all the bugs are fixed before I try updating again. Version 301.42 isn't any good.
