An important thing to note for those of us with SLi setups: For Firestrike etc, disable SLi. The rift does not support it.
Although SLi will work as "normal", it will add too much input lag; therefore Oculus has specifically stated that the rift is not compatible with standard SLi setups.
...Until nvidia get's their heads out of their asses and actually implements "VR SLi" properly across the board, and devs start taking advantage of it.

YEY!! CRAP!!!
Hmm.. I have seen this in the last year quite a bit...
Witcher 3:
Default Profile: I get in 2D Surround in SLI : 25 FPS. In 2D Surround ONE CARD: I get 25 FPS. In 3D Surround I get a MARVELLOUS 12FPS !!!
Then MAGIC HAPPEND! and I made it work WITH PROPER SLI: 2D Surround 55-60 FPS. 3D Surround 25-30 FPS. This is with GEOMETRY 3D rendering not CM.
So... The driver(s) definitely support a lot of stuff... Problem is we DON'T KNOW how to tweak them to OUR individual needs and instead rely on the DEFAULT nvidia profile to work for ALL OF US! (which clearly fails..)
If you still don't know what I am talking about check this out ^_^ :
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/904942/-sli-surround-3d-vision-enabling-proper-sli-support-in-games-like-fallout4-witcher3-and-others-/
Bottom line:
I believe even if SLI is not "officially" supported we CAN actually make it WORK (more or less) ^_^.
