Think RealMyst is using a common 3D engine.
Trials games could all be custom and Trials 2 is definitely defered rendering.
I remember that the DX11 games could be run with compat mode.
Question are we ready for paid for fixes?
Where the fix is released freely afterwards.
Obviously you would have to gift the game. Spend a starting cost which involves examining the game in question. A final cost is calculated, in the end you can tip the fixer. Not everything can be solved. It's a pricy way to do it but is this something a fixer would be interested in? Fixing any kind of game is hard work.
I don't believe in selling fixes as there will be piracy. Putting a pricetag devaluaes your work but the pay is normally close to zero for the fixes being made from what I gather.
