Will Nvidia 3d work for me? What do i need to upgrade
Hi guys.

I have read some pages about this new nvidia 3dvision.
It seems really cool and i'm intrested of buying a kit.

Just wondered if someone could tell me if this will work good on my comp, or if i need to upgrade something on my computer.

Here's my spec:

Windows Vista Ultimate 32x
Intel® Core(tm)2 Duo CPU E6550 @ 2.33GHZ
2,00 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT 512mb

Screen:
SyncMaster 226bw
3000:1 Dynamic Contrast
2ms
16:10 aspect ratio

For more speccs on screen: http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/samsu...?tag=mncol;psum

Thanks alot.

hi, according to the System specs at nVidia you will need to upgrade your Vid card a minimum of a 8800GT and a new Monitor Possibly:

Hello, I am afraid your screen will not run at 100+Hz thus the glasses will not work. Also i think your Video card might have a tough time (from what i understand the 3D vision needs a lot of power to generate the 2 images)

If you are not to bothered about resolution you can get an old monitor (a lot of older pc screens can run at 100Hz) and do it that way untill the price of the 120Hz screens drop.
