3D Vision - XP drivers (non Quadro) 3D vision - XP Drivers for non quadro cards

I run a dual boot of Win XP and Win7. There are games and programs that run better in XP still. I would also like 3d vision to work in XP for some of those games that I run in XP, dx8 and dx9. Wish nvidia would take the time...

This is the exact situation I'm in. I mostly use Windows 7 now, but some games still do work better in XP. (However, for me OpenGL support is a higher priority.)

I agree with 3dwannabe except for the part about wanting to pay for it. This is why I don't want to pay for it. First just like creative labs did with vista by not supporting old sound cards that are still being used is the same reason I won't pay MS, or Nvidia for windows or video card drivers.
Back when you registered your copies of software or hardware with the manufactures aka MS, Creative, and Nvidia what was their main statement? If you register your product you will and I quote "Always be kept up to date with the latest firmware and drivers" Thats what they said and didn't stick to their end of the agreement so when are you going to file a class action lawsuit against them? HUH?
So you want to give them more money so they can leave you behind again when they come up with the next latest OS or drivers? or Firmware? When does it STOP?
That is why I don't and will never pay for OS again and that is why you have people hacking them and distributing them for free. Right or Wrong by your def. I DON"T CARE. These hackers are no more a thief then MS, Creative, and Nvidia.

Basically what they're saying is that I can play games in anaglyph 3d on my old win 98 pc, but I can't on my new pc because it runs win XP.
I just think it's ridiculous to not support XP.
. XP is and will probably remain the best thing Microsoft ever made.
. Most games are still being released for XP. (And there is a good reason why)
It took me 10~20 minutes to get my Kubuntu 9.10 desktop fully in anaglyph 3d.
I didn't try to get Doom 3 in anaglyph but I'm sure it could be done.
The big companies continue to fail us and the small rebellious communities continue to make better working products.
I'm sure someone somewhere will make anaglyph 3d gaming possible for win XP, and it will probably work better and easier than this nVidea stuff.
I'm not going to buy any more operating systems from microbum, I'll continue to use my XP for my games, and for my office work I'm using my Linux.
By the time they really stop making games for win xp, they will most likely be available for Linux, and if not I'll have to buy a Playstation.
damn it, i hate those who stay in very old systems. vista is good, i moved to it when it comes out, the only problem is that stupid ATi drivers for my ATi cards at that time. and windows 7 is better, i moved to it right after its release. you don't have to be a "professional" to make all your programs run on it, it's compatible with most of them.
today a guy want his alienware aurora r4 to run windows xp with 3d vision, it's an intel x79 platform with fermi graphics, what a .....
i will try solving it
