I'm not exactly sure what's going on but dealing with NI/NIPs just seems generally wonky to me, like it doesn't save every setting/value to the NIP. The NIP I posted above was dumped from settings I was experimenting on with GeForce 3D Profile Manager and importing the profile list using Profile Manager with just those two settings worked perfectly fine but exporting the NIP, deleting the profile and reimporting the NIP with NVIDIA Inspector with just those two settings/values doesn't. Edit:Thanks Stryker_66, definitely have to pick up Descent 3 on sale. I had the PS version of it back in the day, it was so much fun ... especially when using a controller. :) ... hmm, got me wondering if this might work with any PS emulators! :O

Profile "Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver"
ShowOn GeForce
ProfileType Application
Executable "kain2.exe"
Setting ID_0x701eb457 = 0x2241ab21 InternalSettingFlag=V0 // MysteryStereoSetting
Setting ID_0x709a1ddf = 0x4b1cd96b InternalSettingFlag=V0 // StereoCutoff

I was hoping to find a single setting that was broken in the Legacy profiles, that was preventing them from working and I may have, StereoTextureEnable, but just removing/disabling it caused issues with the StereoCutoff values being way off when testing it with Drakan, disabling both seemed to work.

Yupp... The internal InternalSettingFlag=V0 it says basically is predefined and NOT a user defined value. Nvidia Inspector DOESN'T KNOW to import predefined values. What you modify and import will ALWAYS have the user-value flag next to it ;)) I don't know if you checked out my latest fixes for OpenGL... If you have a SLI system just try the following: - Pick one of the latest games that I uploaded yesterday - In NVPANEL set the profile to default - Start a game using one of my fixes. - You will be greeted with a nice 3D Vision Information pop-up(the green one) where the fix now has a rating, description, name etc (which is the profile the wrapper makes for the game). Now try to do the same thing with Nvidia Inspector.. you can't ^_^. I'f more people want it I can easily make a standalone app that can load a file with settings for game profiles that gives you all the power you want:) (which is something I did with my wrapper, but only for what I was interested in ^_^)

Thanks for that info on InternalSettingFlag=V0, that definitely explains a few of the issues I was having while trying to do certain things. :) Personally I prefer using GeForce 3D Profile Manager to import/export and Notepad++ to edit over NVIDIA Inspector but as far as I can tell it doesn't have support for single profiles making it harder to share profiles.
Dege, from the vogons forum, released a new beta wip:
Awesome, thanks for sharing this update! I had problems with white textures for both Alien vs Predator 2 and No One Lives Forever (first one) and they look and play pretty good in 3D now. I have no problem with frame rates either. I've included a couple of screenies. Both these games are using the lithtech engine. Since these games are more campy with cartoonish style graphics, they look pretty good. Cheers!

Humble Bundle is having an Eidos sale today, it's also their Spring sale. The Tomb Raider, Hitman, Thief and Legacy of Kain games are cheap, plus some others. https://www.humblebundle.com/store/promo/squareenix/

Anyone try this on Shadow Man, it's 49c on the Humble Store right now. If not, I have a physical copy I can try out later. https://www.humblebundle.com/store/p/shadowman_storefront

Just tried Shadow Man with the wrapper and it works. lol, for 49c you get a 162 page stategy guide, sound track and a free comic (requires registering for a ComiXology account).

I just checked it's already in my Steam library ... another close call, I almost pulled the trigger as soon as you said it worked. Lol. :)

Just a couple of updates regarding this wrapper. There is a new build that came out recently and you can obtain it here. I now have games such as No one lives forever, Alien vs Predator 2 and Tron 2.0 working in 3D. http://dege.freeweb.hu/ Speaking of the Lithtech engine, Tron 2.0 is really really awesome in 3D and I love the fact that it is something completely different. I suggest getting the Killer App mod to get it working correctly on modern systems. Note: Does not require the wrapper. I am using the Helixmod dll and ini file for two separate convergences on single key stroke. One for cutscenes and other for game play. http://www.moddb.com/mods/killer-app I'd also like to add that I can't believe that I got one of the old Ultima games working in 3D. You do need to install the following which are required. Official Patch 1.18f (middle of page) http://reconstruction.voyd.net/index.php?event=project&typeKeyword=official Unofficial Patch 1.19f - Fixes bug and also for 3D related stuff (near bottom of page) http://reconstruction.voyd.net/index.php?event=project&typeKeyword=fanpatch Optional (highly recommended) There is a mod for advance graphic and other game settings which is great to get the most of this game from 1999! There are several keys to enable/disable the HUD during game play and can be completely rebinded with the advanced configuration utility. http://ultima9.ultimacodex.com/ An last but not least, I like the Beautiful Britannia mod since it ups the graphics. Also, enable AA in Nvidia Control panel and apply the U9.exe to Tomb Raider: Anniversary profile to prevent the HUD from splitting. Have a look at the screenies for U9 ;) For mods, widescreen and other PC game related tweaks, this site is good source of information. http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Ultima_IX:_Ascension I know that The Witcher 3 is the hot topic and it's amazing to see all the contributions to get that game to work in 3D. I have decided to hold off until CD Projekt releases some patches and probably some enhancements which they are known for. I read an article regarding complaints of down grading the graphics and it appears that the necessity of tapping the console market is essential for them in terms of business. I suspect that they will look after the PC community now that their explosion of sales are in. I'll remain disciplined to not buy until it's ready. Man it's difficult because I keep saying fuck it, just buy it.....lol In the meantime, I am going to play these old games since they are so awesome to experience in 3D! This will distract me until the Witcher 3 gets ample time to settle. Cheers gang...
