Graphic card advice for autostereoscopic display Pavonine - Dimen C190S
Hi

I'm looking for a graphics card which will be able to display 3D stereo on the Pavonine Dimen C190S autostereoscopic display. This display has 4 modes for demultiplexing the 2 views from the 1 sent to the screen: interlace, side field, frame sequential and sub field (see http://www.inition.co.uk/inition/product.p...to&SubCatID_=61).

I was wondering what graphics card I need to be able to drive this screen. I believe the GeForce 7 series has stereo drivers that can support some of these modes. However these cards are hard to find (new - not 2nd hand). Does e.g. a Quadro FX1500 support one of the 4 modes of this screen?

Thanks.

I found this on the website:
'Dimen 3D LCD displays support all stereo imaging formats that are currently used, without any restrictions:

* Interlace Stereo
* Side Field
* Frame Sequential
* Sub Field'

I think Nvidas series 7 cards are able to display Interlace and Frame Sequentila S-3D.
Most stereo players can additionally handle the other two formats.
If you look for a GF7, try ebay. There should be traders which have imediate purchase and depending on the location warranty.

Can't really buy a GF7; its for the company I work for and they have a fixed supplier - one which doesn't have the GF7 in stock anymore.

I checked w/ Nvidia customer support, and apparently the Quadro only supports the frame sequential mode (of the 4 modes supported by the display). Whilst not perfect, it will have to do I guess.

Thanks for the help :).
