IrDA protocol has enough layers to guarantee communications between devices in software/hardware and, I think, firmware (device ID) mechanisms and encoding methods. I'm pretty sure that it wouldn't be a problem.

Anyone know if this will interfere with my TrackIR which also uses IR technology?
Personally I've gotten the clip-on USB Headgear for TrackIR so that my "headset" actually emits the IR rather than simply reflecting it back to the receiver. This has proven beneficial to me quite a number of times thus far, and far more accurate it seems.

Yep, I run TrackIR with 3DVision. I use the Track Clip Pro also so it emits the IR to the camera, not the other way around; not sure if that helps or not. Can't get GRID to work (that's another thread Here, but rFactor and TrackIR and Nvidia 3D Vision so far are an amazing combo!

Im actually running this today in my lab with no issues. Both 3D Vision and TrackIR work perfectly with each other.
