Nice. Congrats on getting it all wrapped up and finished now. Glad you were able to track down that issue, when I got to that last shader I pretty much just copied and pasted a whole block of code, rather than line by line like the ones before it, and must have been a bit sloppy. Disabling the shadows too was part of my testing for the auto-crosshair, was pretty sure I reverted back but guess I didn't. Anyways, good to be able to help out and work with you on a fix. Hit me up whenever needed.

Thank you for what you have done :). I would have been stuck with water forever. I'll try to remember your method if a different game presents this problem again. You will be credited, obviously.
I consider the fix complete, although screen space reflections are broken (thankfully it's a setting that can be disabled) and godrays are at screen depth. But they are minor issues and I have to resume my Dead Rising work :p.

For godrays, the formula for fixing them is usually adding separation / 2 to a coordinate in the PS. Again, if you want to provide me with a couple of save spots where godrays and screen space reflections are present, I can see about devising a fix for those. After all, we may as well go for 100%! ;)
Then again, I could not be lazy and actually play the game until I find them, update it, and then send you the files whenever I get to it, since I know you want to be able to move on (believe me, I totally understand that feeling, lol).

OK, I'll dedicate some time for the god rays. But I can't promise any results :p. The problem in this game is that they are translucent and harder to directly see, compared to The Witcher 3.
Screen space reflections are the weird part. They were always incorrect but not outright broken until now. I'll take a closer look to the shader win WinMerge and see if it's different to my older uploads.
I'll be busy with real life things for two days, starting 22 hours from now. So I'll prepare the blog post tonight or tomorrow morning just in case. Glad that I took this week as holidays, or I would have been slower.

So I tried a few more things to get the depth to work properly:
masterotakus suggestion:
Have you disabled fake 3D (ctrl+alt+F11)? - doesn't seem to have any affect when pressed in game
costiq suggestion:
Disable MODS - I disabled all of my mods and the depth is still the same for all objects.
Modify convergence - I tried both Ctrl+F6 and Ctrl+F5 to see if I could get a noticeable change but nothing changed unfortunately, seemed like it had no affect.
Other things I noticed:
The Crtl+12 Crosshair has a depth that's very off, I never use it but tested it to see.
Notes:
I replaced my profile with the one included in the "skyrimse_3dfix_1.7z" download using notepad++ and "GeForce 3D Profile Manager".
Graphics card: GeForce GTX 1080
Driver version: 375.70
Windows 7
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

I know now what broke the screen space reflections. It was you, DJ-RK :p. "89c1e880e3a830bc-ps_replace.txt" (// Possible water reflections). It looks like you tried lots of things there. Maybe you forgot something or made a typo.
Removing that shader returned them back to normal. Mmmm, so that's probably the shader I have to edit for screen space reflections. But I have to dump it from scratch (edit: dumped).

Yeah, I wondered about that. Again, didn't think I left anything that I didn't comment back out, but it was hard for me to tell at the spot I was working with.

@DJ-RK, @masterotaku: Just a reminder that you should always leave notes in the code as comments. This is a perfect example of how just a tiny bit of work on the front end can make it much, much more clear for yourself, or for someone else who picks up a fix. Having broken code, or things touched that are not commented makes life harder for yourself.
Add the comments for 'why' you are making a change, and it'll speed up your ability to fix.

Ok so I got it to work and it does look fantastic, thanks for your hard work developing this 3D fix! I'm looking forward to where you take it from here.
Now regarding your .nip file Levijd I did try it and it crashed the game and shut off my screen for a second. I went ahead and went back to the profile posted on page 3. Thanks for posting it though, it was worth a shot.

How I got it to work (for anyone else having the same issue):
Well, I just upgraded my video card to a GTX 1080 and had to reinstall the drivers and what not. By doing this it deactivated the "advanced in game settings" found in the Nvidia control panel under "set up stereoscopic 3D" and then "Set Keyboard Shortcuts". From that dialog box click on "Enable advanced in-game settings". Once in game you have to "Toggle 3D compatability mode" (Ctrl+Alt+F11). Then you have to hold CTRL+F6 to increase the convergence until you like it. Regarding how I updated the profile and inserted it see my earlier posts. Regarding the contents of the fix file download just dump it where the .exe file is located in your steam folder: Example "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition". Be sure to write down all of the hot keys shared in earlier posts.
Thanks again for those who tried to help.

Glad that you got it working, Grimlock_Arts. I have installed the latest Nvidia drivers and the profile works (the one I included in "profile.txt", which also countains the launcher exe, just in case). Unrelated to this, the G-Sync + ULMB trick still works.
The version I'll upload for the blog post will be a bit different. Unbroken screen space reflections and the autocrosshair that will include more shaders (the stealth cursor is missing parts when you use that feature).
I'll try to have all done in 2 or 3 hours. If DJ-RK or myself manage to properly fix god rays or screen space reflections in the future (no estimated date), I'll upload an updated version.
@bo3b, you are right. I should comment what things do. I at least always put a proper name in the first line of the shaders and make sure that my modifications are clearly separated from the rest of the code. But there are times that I reach a good fixing formula by trial and error and I wouldn't be able to properly explain why or how that works. Things would be like "Shadows were at depth. This fixes them. The '-1' is for the correct position at 0 convergence. Why do I use that line of code as the depth value? No idea". I'm a web developer, after all :p.

I just have to put some screenshots in the blog post and them publish it.
There is a new hotkey: "l". It will completely disable the HUD.

It would have been funnier if I released it on 2016/11/11. You know, because of the 5th anniversary of the original game :p.
How can I change the hotkeys? '.' is a problematic binding for me, since on my keyboard, it's where 'e' would normally be, so activating objects affects the crosshair.
