Not sure if this is the right place to post this particular link, but I have built a Tridef profile from a build of one of the members over there. I have fixed everything except for water reflections. I'm not sure if I have uploaded the profile right (my first). If it doesn't work, I'll re-upload it the right way. Here is: http://www.tridef.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=3077&p=13469#p13469
Let me know if it works out for you... I'm on the latest beta drivers.
Thanks!
Just installed the game, tried it in DX11 and first impressions in 3D is looking good!!!! Switched shadows to "low" and the game looks fantastic!!
I set the depth at 30% but in-game it looks really good......(because at full 100% the objects near the player are blurry)

@LucLongley23
Is it powered 3d or normal? Id like to know before installing tridef and getting set up. Cause if its powered im not really interested. No offense but that blurryness/loss of res just really takes away from the immersion.

It's normal, in full DX11. If you have any issues, let me know. I havent't heard any confirmation yet, but it works. Read my last post on that forum thread. It details how to tweak the profile if it doesn't work for you. We'll get it worked out though. I tried both hdmi and dvi... interlaced and sbs... Both excellent on my end. Make sure dx11 is on and that the Nvidia profile matches up with it's designated Far Cry 3 profile.

If worse comes to worse, I can just post the OSD options I tweaked from that OP's profile. I can't be the only one in the world capable of getting it working. ;)

I will sooner or later, but why not show a picture to people. Im sure it would help. The issue might be that your using a 3d vision/tridef stack. While the people on tridef forum are just on amd.

@LucLongley23, please upload a screenshot.....because i try both profiles (Tridef) of the tridef thread and i see sames problems than 3D vision....(i have to disable dynamic convergence in both profiles that make my eyes crazy).
Using the last beta driver, SBS mode (tridef) and DX11 and DX9 (both with the sames problems).

I tried the tridef/Nvidia3d stack. Using the fc3 profile from the tridef forums, and power3d (true 3d was still horrible), it looked pretty good, but menus are a bit messed up, and that halo around the gun. But I used farcry2 profile, Non-power3d, and the shadows were completely disabled, and the rest of the game looked spectacular! However... no sli, and the performance was abysmal. like 10fps. I dunno, I think Helix may have to mess with a dx9 profile for proper 3d vision support.

Are you using 310.64 drivers? Andrew calls them essential for Far Cry 3: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-geforce-310-64-beta-drivers-released
(I wouldn't get your hopes up - I don't see any mention of 3D Vision)

There's a link to some pics with my Tridef profile. Had reflections for a while, but lost them somehow.
A few things to consider maybe:
Use Nvidia nspector to change the Far Cry exe's to the Crysis 2 Profile first. Save and then play with the tridef drivers. They definitely work, it's just a matter of swinging those finicky profiles on your system.

Oh yeah, I've got the latest drivers. I'm assuming my FC2 tridef/nvidia "stacking" had something to do with my horrible performance. I'm really not that concerned. Either they'll patch the game, Helix will do a dx9 mod, or I'll just enjoy it in 2d at 120hz. In 2d the game does have fantastic graphics dx11 maxed, and runs smooth in SLI. Meanwhile, I still have a pile of games to finish, that work great in 3d vision. Not in wont for 3d content right now...
