Well finaly one real review of the beast, so please check it out and ave as it's the best gaming monitor ever created :)

And of course it supports 3D Vision 2 :D
So for you 3d lovers, say hello to 3d gaming at 1440P :D
Greetings, nice looking monitor! Like the 3D vision 2.0 support too. Just hope the 2D quality (color and saturation) is great as you mostly render 2D content.

Yeapp it will do 3d at 1440P, first monitor ever :)
I guess 3d will look awesome in such hig rez!
About the colours, it should be very very good as the review stated, it's a new panel with native 8bit colours so yeaah, the best TN for sure :)
Btw, I will do my gaming in 2d myself, have not played any 3d for a while annyway but who knows, if the support will be better then maybe I will cash out for an 3d vision kit later on.
@TheFallen, oops seen that you said that for me about the colours and saturation, well annyway it is an awesome monitor in ever regards it seems, so bring in on :)

Anyone considering picking this up, be very aware that it will flog your graphics cards. You will need high-end cards in SLI to power this thing. SLI 780TI would probably be an absolute minimum. Otherwise, you'll be making significant sacrifices in graphical settings.
Does it do 3D Vision @ 144Hz?
60FPS 3D gaming is getting tiresome. 72FPs would be quite an improvement ;-)
Havent heard anything about that actually but I read that the ULMB mode will work at max 120Hz/fps so then I guess that 3d vision will do the same, dont sure tho but thats my thought about it, correct or not :)

hmmm no HDMI port is a bit of a deal breaker for me. I have a console as well. :( was looking at dropping my current asus qe screen and getting three of these

I also would like 144hz 3d to get rid of flickering, but I suppose there would be additional problems, like more darkening and more ghosting.
I wonder how would work 3D using a Zalman Trimon kind of monitor (passive glasses) and 1440P. Maybe the result would be very acceptable in terms of resolution (the big lack of that method).

Also interesting is the Overlord Tempest X270OC, it's an IPS Monitor that runs at 2560x1440@120Hz.
Unfortunately it's only 2D. Maybe a workaround could be used for 3D? Response time is supposedly 2/3rds less than typical IPS panels.

is 3 way 780ti in sli gonna be enough? I just bought a third card for this thing, I was hoping it wouldn't take to much to run it

For the most part, a third card in SLI doesn't bring any performance improvements in 3d over two cards. I think there might be a small number of games where it does help, but it's not common.

battlefield 4 was the main one I decided to go 3 way as it does seem to make a difference on that one. you are right tho does not help in to many games. I was going to get a dedicated PhysX card but I got the 3rd 780ti for a good price. I didn't think 1440p would tax it to much more then 1080p. im interested in this screen so I can get away from using so much aa or msaa in games. Hopefully my cards have enough vram
