Yes work very well but some games refuse to work with (track mania, quake, flight sim...) and tweak is not in real time, but a large numbers of games work very well even on Ati, i hope kinddragon will make one hook for Opengl too /whistling.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistling:' /> if i wait for nvidia driver..... /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> may be next year or century may be :D /haha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':haha:' /> /w00t.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':w00t:' />

I can't try anything of this because both of my computers'video cards are supported by the real nVidia stereo drivers, but someone at the Stereo3D forum suggested an OpenGL to Direct3D wrapper.

I had to turn my nVidia stereo-Tools from 'enable on hotkey' to 'diasabled'.
Afterwards it worked like a charm in Anaglyph mode.
Crosseye (side by side) would be a great additional option. This should work with dual Porjectors or whatever then - if they can be adjusted as one big (wide) screen in Windows or ingame.

Tried opengl wrapper but no result on quake4, but i tried http://www.edimensionalfiles.com/solo11/do...s/E-Dupdate.exe and it seems to work with a lot of games and with pageflip glasses (http://edimensional.com/support_updates.php) they say it work on lcd screen too but i couldn't try cause my glasses are broken for now :'( just the stereo effect seems to be effective (interleave) even with my 8800 and c2duo on, someone could try ? /wave.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Tried a bit with the Kinddragons stereodriver:
If you get a message about "d3dx9_33.dll" you need newest directX. You can also download that dll-file separately and put it in the windows\system32 folder.
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?d3dx9_33

Adjustments is made by manually configure the xml-files. HL2 and Flatout2 are preconfigured.

Anaglyph runs fine with HL2 on 8800GTX cpu E6600 (dual core works). There are no option for dual screen: However there's an option for Over/Under but it didn't work with the beamers even if they were setuped vertically in the nvidia driver. Batteries worned out in my sh.glasses so i'm gonna try those later on. Smile. Guess that pageflipping is the melody for me.

Update: Changed batteries in my glasses but they still don't work. Checked the IR-transmitting diodes with my digitalcamera and there was no signal from them. Downloaded the E-D activator and now it works with at least HL2 and really great too! No crosshair though. Had to resync once and a while to with the activator since the right and the left eye image swapped sometimes. Also saw an option for Over/Under in the activator. Tried that out with my projectors but no luck there either! So, dual vga is a nogo with this. However: It does work with dual cores and 8800GTX. Switching to glasses again and trying those E-D drivers! Back before they simply refused to install on a system with Nvidia card but when i tried install with 8800GTX they installed fine. A bit curious and going to test them with shutterglasses.

Kinddragons stereodriver (with dual core and 8800GTX) tested positive with Flatout, HL2 and Tomb Raider Anniversary so far.

E-D-drivers (with dual core and 8800GTX) tested positive with HL2, Flatout and negative with Tomb Raider Anniversary (no stereo effect).

However, when playing HL2 i really miss the Nvidia crosshair on both these drivers! Note: When playing Flatout the on screen menues always are on screen dept using the E-d drivers. I remember that's not the case regarding the Nvidia ones.

Activator: http://www.edimensionalfiles.com/solo11/downloads/E-D.exe
E-D driver: http://www.edimensionalfiles.com/solo11/do...s/E-Dupdate.exe

However: This prooves that dual core + 8800 works fine with stereo... if someone with knowledge only takes time to do it. If anybody feel like this is a kick in da butt (lika an Nvidia employee) it's meant to. Remember that many of us buying these cards did it with good performance regarding stereo as the main reason for buying it.

Thank you Kinddragon for your effort! It means a lot for many people here! :)

I created a special forum category for Kind Dragon's driver at mtbs3D.com. If you could share your findings there as well, it would be appreciated.

Aah just back after a break and what do i find?

Not one but TWO new stereo drivers /w00t.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':w00t:' />

Kind Dragon: Thank You my friend. An Neil for providing the beta drivers.

8800 results:

New nVidia stereo driver + forceware from guru3d "pre-fix":

test Application finally stopped reporting "Stereo not enabled" when infact it was. It goes into the app but the blocky artifacts still there.

All games work no better and no worse than old 1XX.XX stereo drivers.

Kind Dragon's utility:

Painkiller works!

Other games unfortunately do not work for met yet:

Colin McRae: Dirt - crash to desktop
Oblivion - lock at startup
Company of Heroes - lock at startup
Supreme Commander - lock at load screen.

Dragon's utility shows ALOT of promise.

Will post on mtbs thread too.

hi, anyone get this to work with vista or more specifically vista 64?

the app loads, and i can access the menus (and use hook), but here's the problem (app is an empty window with only a menu):

when i boot test drive unlimited i can hear the audio, but no image. just hoping to get anaglyph going. bf2142 doesn't work either. if anyone has any work arounds or ideas to get this going on vista that would be awesome.

card is 8800 gtx.

and a big thanks to the author of this utility for his efforts. the main reason i keep buying nvidia cards rather than considering ATI is because of stereo driver support, so the lack of a stereo driver has been kind of discouraging. sounds like they're working on it though
just to be clear, you're copying a prexisting .xml file in the profiles directory, giving it the same name prefix as the game's .exe (example, BF2142.xml), and that's it?

p.s. ok, i just got it working in bf2142 with vista 64, thanks. not sure what i was doing wrong before, i think i had the in game video settings set too high, and it was causing image problems. so i think the this app works fine in vista, not sure why i can't get tdu to work. probably need to tweak the graphic settings.

does anyone know what "sepBase value=" should be for a 21" LCD?

I haven't tried out tinkering with the separation base in dragons driver though. I don't think it's that crucial anyway. You can always try by alter these values and try. Keep a copy of your original files just in case.

Actually this is great news! Personally i hate Vista since it's one of the parts preventing me from getting new stereo drivers i persume! lol
Overall it's great news. Newer games are a bit more difficult to make working in stereo though. If it's possible it may take some time to do it!

There are forums at the MTBS3D.com's site. Would be great if you also put your results there.
