Examples/videos of 3d Vision in action?
I know it's kinda hard to capture the 3d vision on camera, but can anyone make a video of a game with the 3d glasses on the camera? I don't live near a Microcenter and would not like to blindly spend nearly $700 to not even have a taste of it.

I like this link http://hight3ch.com/post/3d-vision-in-game...me-with-nvidia/ as I can imagine how the 3D vision would work. I don't expect things to pop out but that video shows me that it's like looking through a window, I would like to see more but unfortunately there are no more videos.

That's because it's physically impossible to "capture" stereo 3d rendering with a 2d camera. Putting the glasses over the lense would do nothing but make it a darker blurry mess. The stereo effect depends on 2 separate points of view (i.e. two eyes) with each eye seeing something the other does not. It's the interpolation between those 2 different sets of information that the brain interprets as depth.

Unfortunately there's really no way to experience what real stereo 3d is like except to test it on a functional system that has it. Try installing the newest nvidia driver and get a pair of anaglyph (red & blue) glasses, that's about the closest you're going to get to experiencing what 3d Vision is like unless you live near a pc store that has an in-store demo setup. If you've been to an IMAX 3d movie, it's sort of like that except with more depth and a little less pop-out.

Before buying the package the biggest question I had was whether the 3d effect would be remarkably different enough than standard "3d graphics" (re: 2d) to be worth the cost. FWIW, the answer is a resounding YES. I don't think you'll find a single person who has 3d Vision who would say otherwise. It's such a remarkable difference that once you go 3d you can't go back.
