so Nvidia released a new driver just. should I just update over the driver and not using DDU? and then edit the DLL?
If you havbe done this her prev. you just can use the new driver files without DDU. You can also use the little tool from the first page and confirm you have done step 1 (that is the DDU step).
You only have to follow the instractions in the script, that should work.
You can also use 3DFixmanager that will do the same for you in a little bit more confortable way. Im not completely sure if the 3DFM needs an update to grap the new driver but i dont think so. You shuld get a driver update message starting 3DFM and do the things the tool tells you.

No, the method relies on installing an NEW driver and use the 3D-Vision module from an old driver. So you should be able to use an SUPER card BUT no promise. I think 3D-Vision will not need special support, this should be main driver driven. But again: NO PROMISE.
The Methos itsleve uses the newest driver and modules, expet the 3D-Vision module.
Only method fo figure out is to purchease the gard, test it, and send it back if its not working ^^

Yeah actually I was thinking about it more & that makes sense. I mean I am just installing old software (no reason I shouldn't be able to do so even with say AMD hardware in), & I am running the new hardware off the new driver anyway, just using the old software to pull the 3DVision bit from it as you say. Question is yeah if they did something stupid like removed hardware support or something maybe for anything 3D related but wouldn't think so since they're re-using old designs (thinking of a 2060 Super) unless they did something stupid like disabling functionality in the BIOs or something maybe? Yeah unfortunately it's a gamble..
Let us know if anyone pulls it off (still not sure about my plans but will report here if I get a Super).
