Convergence hotkeying
I noticed that in first person games you cant have the convergence so high because the thing you are holding, be it a sword or gun, is distorted. Then I remembered this http://helixmod.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/dx9-11-custom-convergencedepth-bindings.html I was wondering if anyone knows how it can be used to toggle rather than be used an a click. That way in games like Fallout or Skyrim you could have the convergence as high as you like when wandering around, then when you press the button to bring your weapon out you can knock it down so things render properly. Anyone know if it can be used like this because I can't seem to find a way.

http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2012/05/how-to-guide-create-convergence-and.html Save a setting to 0 and save a setting to 9 . An explanation to change the keys is on skyrim page. Any of games that are done on helixmod site as of like 9 months ago(?).Any key toggle's you can bind a seperate setting to [Like depth huds/whatever] Like skyrim you can bind a setting to V/B/N More tweaks stuff is here -> http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2010/12/how-to-guides.html

Interesting. I was aware the Helix mod files had Hotkeys for things but didn't know they could be used like this. Is there a way of binding it to toggle though? That way the change just happens as it needs to, rather than having to press a button.

Can a sync invert be hotkeyed for people using DLP Link glasses? I'd rather hit a key on my keyboard that pushing and eventually wearing out the button on my glasses.

@dman-11 Your projector remote may have an option but thats it I believe. Being able to do that on PC is not possible as far as I know. @cookybiscuit Can only bind as long as key is pressed OR key toggle. No way of detecting situations in game.

How do you set it to toggle? Thats what I meant by just changing as it needs to, because if you bind it to E, and your key to draw and sheath a weapon is E, it just happens.

Got it working thanks, really useful tool, also appears to work in non Dx9 games. Feel stupid for not figuring it out earlier. Is there any way to bind them to a controller straight through the DX9Settings config file? Or should Xpadder just be used instead?

Xpadder is what I use but you have to buy it. Joytopad is free and I think helix recommended it. I havent tried it.

You might be able to use autohotkey to script something of a toggle. I haven't started messing around with it yet only found out about it recently.
