3D vision on Samsung UN46C7000
Hi Folks.
I have a Samsung UN46C7000 and am running through a Quadro FX 5600. Driver version 267.17

I've been trying to get stereo to display on this HDTV and so far here is what I have working:
After setting TV input to "DVI PC" using HDMI 1.4, set resolution to 1920x1080 60Hz, with 3D mode Enabled w/ Frame Sequential.
Enable Stereoscopic 3D in Nvidia panel and set to generic CRT at 60Hz and set "Manage3D settings" base profile to Enable stereo and stereo - Display mode to "On-board DIN connector (with NVIDIA 3D Vision)". Nvidia control panel does not recognize this display and when I try to set to 120Hz, TV looses display or re-sets it back down to 60Hz.
I've looked into 3DTV Play but all the information seems to show compatability with GeForce cards

I can get stereo effect on nvidia 3D Vision video player, Unity3D games and apps, and the test application (stereo test in nvidia control panel) both seem to run perfect with no flickering in stereo at 60hz.

However I [b]can't[/b] get any quadbuffer application to run in stereo using Vizard, openGL Stereo applications. I can get all of these to work when I swap back to my other nvidia 3dvision ready Samsung syncmaster though.
Also, of the applications I can get the stereo applications to work on, the UN46C7000, I can only seem to run these and see them using Samsung's Stereo glasses and embedded emitter on TV. I meanwhile have to cover the Nvidia IR emitter so it doesn't interfere.

My end goal is to get quadbuffer applications running on Samsung UN46C7000 using Nvidia IR emitter and 3D vision shutter Glasses. This should be achievable but so far I have no luck. I'm about to go in and manually edit the TV's EDID but I'd like to know what you guys think before I start along that path.

Well, I finally have good news.

I got it so I can finally display quad-buffered OpenGL applications in stereo. I tested a simple OpenGL R/L eye test and a Vizard application using quad-buffer and both work amazingly. The only problem was that I had to roll-back to driver 259.81 to achieve this. Apparently when I used 267.17, It wouldn't recognize the Samsung UN46C7000 as a stereo capable display (non-quad-buffer applications displayed stereo fine).

Display is still recognized to only be 60Hz, however, It definitely does not look like 30Hz per eye when I launch any stereo application so It must be displaying at 120Hz, even though its listed as 60. My only issue is that I can only get this to work with the Samsung stereo glasses that I bought with the TV. I [b]cannot[/b] get it to work with the nVidia 3DVision glasses. Oh, also I have to cover the nvidia emitter because it looks like its emitting some really funky interference (The samsung glasses seemed to flicker on and off if I didn't cover it). I looked at the nvidia emitter through a camera and I could distinctly see it pulsating at about 1Hz... very weird.
As for the nVidia 3DVision glasses, even if I cover the TV's emitter, it wont even begin shuttering.

I really would like to see if I can get the nvidia Emitter and 3DVision Glasses to work on this Samsung TV. Someone suggested to simply use an IR detector attached to the TV's emitter and output my own pulse wave to the nvidia Emitter. Although I think this route is insane and I have a hunch it wont work.

Other alternative is to figure out how to get the nvidia Emitter to actually emit properly. Note: I do have the General and application 3D settings in control panel set to use "On-board DIN connector (with nVidia IR Emitter)".

Any ideas? I really need some help on this.
