Yeah, the god rays in this game really surprised me are definitely a sight to see! Not as high quality as, say, Fallout 4 or Quantum Break, but they really have more of a 3D effect and pop out more than I think I've ever seen in a game yet. Here a good example to demonstrate: Oh, one thing I'll mention is that to me these screenshots seem rather flat than compared to in game (so they actually look even better!). That's actually something I've been finding with all the screenshots I've been posting for the past while, think it might have to do with my monitor size setting or something. Glad you're looking forward to playing this one!

If you look at any given image on less than the full width of the original snapshot, you artificially reduce the separation. Which is then of course perceived as less depth. The only way to see it as it was, is to download the image and show it full screen in the viewer. This is related to sharing pictures from projector users versus monitor users too. If I share a picture taken on my projector, even set at 100%, people viewing it on a monitor will find it lacking in depth. Even at their full screen view. Percentage wise, the delta between the two images is fewer pixels when taken on projector than on monitor, so it artificially lowers the separation when shared this way. Conversely, if I look at someone's monitor snapshot on my projector, I often cannot fuse the image because the number of pixels is too large, and makes my eyes diverge to where I cannot see them. This is also why movies tend to have low depth. It's a strange thing that the end-user experience is not fully controlled.

There's an ah hah moment. I just thought it was related to the picture quality setting and format used. I figured resolution just scaled. Thanks for the enlightenment, it's something that has bugged me

Finally got to this game, I had never bought it without your fix DJRK - BIG BIG THANKS ! This game is so much better than I thought, I know it's a sniper game but stealth is also alot of fun !! The fix is amazing and the graphics shines so much.. but I have one little issue, the objective markers sometimes gets stretched / squashed in certain wieving angles. I can certainly live with it, but if any of you knows a solution, I'll be glad to hear about it :)
This game is so much better than I thought, I know it's a sniper game but stealth is also alot of fun !!
I know, right? Like, I played SEv2 and really didn't like it because it had utterly useless stealth elements, and basically forced you to go full Rambo with a Springfield. In this game, I really felt a lot more like a predator, able to stalk my prey and execute as I deemed fit. I hope SE4 expands on this, especially since it seems to now have stealth killcams! There really wouldn't be an easy way to change that behaviour, so pretty sure that's a necessary evil to live with. Glad to hear you're enjoying the game. Hopefully I can get to SE4 within the next few weeks and you'll get to enjoy that one too.
