I wish I could utilize tridef Dx11 games with 3D vision. I am tired of having to change to my HMD or to my tv to play games that aren't working in 3D vision. Anyway just wishful thinking I guess.

Yesterday i try the game with Tridef...this is my review:
Performance: The performance is very bad, using Ignition 3.8 Beta 3 and 1080p SBS i get between 25 - 35 fps. I change the resolution to 720p SBS and get between 30 and 40 fps (more playable), but the game looks ugly (even using AA). I can say this game is not optimized (or the Ignition Beta is not working properly with this game), because i have my GPU (GTX 670 Factory OC) at 55% all the time (don't go higher than that) and my CPU (i7 3770K) 1 Core is at 99% and the rest at 10%. Tomorrow i want to test with 3D Vision if happens the same (i don't have to much time today).
3D: The game have some MINOR issues using AC3 profile: Some distant shadows, some shadows in the water, some reflections in the water and target icons in 2D...there are all minor, the game can be rated between Good and Excellent (i play like 1 hour, i don't know if later in game this is worst). You have to use Shadows = Very High, higher than that Shadows are 2D (with Soft Shadows Low and High); and Motion Blur = off. Also i tweak depth (100%) and convergence higher and the game looks great in 3D (forgot to upload some screenshots...sorry).
Also using Tridef the option for TXAA is disabled...if i play in 2D or using 3D vision the option is enabled again.
The profile for AC3 works fine, but the performance is a no go for me...and playing at 720p SBS with an average of 35 fps is not an option.
Also want to test lowering depth and increasing convergence using 3D vision, if is playable or not.

I also tried out Tridef today. I did the trial over a year ago, so I paid the full $50 to activate it today. It didn't work out. I use an Acer H5360BD, a native 720p projector. 1080p SBS isn't a good option, because my projector would need to downscale the vertical resolution and upscale the horizontal. In other words, sub 720p 3D. 720p frame packing indeed does not work for this game with my equipment.
I also tried the game with 3D Vision. Lowering depth to near zero fixed shadows, but raising convergence broke them again.
So I've been playing the game in native 1080p 2D on my other projector. The lack of 3D is disappointing, but I'm still enjoying the game.

How bad is 720P SBS? I have a regular 3D tv and a few HMDs, I generally use the HMZ-T1 which is a 720p native, but I generally use it at 1080p SBS and i guess I am comfortable with it. My ST1080 isn't really worth my effort it setting it up.

It's really a shame for all 3D users.... The game looks so good in 3d vision, except for the shadows. I hope either nvidia or one of the great folks here in the forums has time to fix the problem. It would be a great shame if they are indeed attempting to phase out 3d. Can't imagine playing games in 2D!!!!

I didn't actually try it with the game. Maybe I should. But I've tried 1080p SBS videos before and they looked like roughly SD quality to me. I'm not sure how exactly my projector handles it, but I suspect it downscales the whole image to 720p before processing it for 3D, giving half 720p resolution rather than half 1080p.
This gives me another excuse to eventually upgrade my projector, so really, it's a positive.

Wow, I just played AC with Nvidias 3D Vision and I have to say, there was huge potential there.
Unfortunately, the game is unplayable, this is a tragedy if you ask me.
