thanks bo3b
i will consider.
not too chip for one game only (BI).
maybe if i will have more problematic games.. it will be worth it
how do you manage? acer isn't DLP?
mmm... i see.
i have "3dvision" and "dlp link" at the 3d mode
no hope for viewsoinc projectors i guess... ):
TriDef has a fame sequential output-------->Standard display types...Direct3D Stereo 120Hz
If you use DLP Link glasses, you do not take a huge performance hit since you can turn off 3D Vision.
TriDef supports all 3D formats with the exception of Sensio

but i seem to get the "dircet3d error" every time i set tridef to "Direct3D Stereo 120Hz"
regardless turning 3d vision on or off.
again, i am using dlp prjector and tried everything

7) Psychonauts: I tried this game with Helix mod but didn't like it. Sky was at the wrong depth and that made the game hardly playable for me. Tridef fixes the sky depth but gives a below average 3d effect, no amount of tweaking made it look any better, maybe I'm not pushing the right tridef buttons here.

Should always leave a comment, not every game gets a lot attention. If everyone just says thanks and no one says anything I assume its working. I put some work into fixing half life sky box with success. Ill see what I can do.

Worked at one point for me. On acer h5360. On optoma hd66 it does not work which is wierd since practically same device. So im not sure if it doesnt work any longer all together or its device specific.
DDD is a much better company then nvidia as far as support and actually "trying". Im not trying to bad mouth them since who knows which way the wind will blow but my main problem is the renderer itself automatically detects for the most part what it cant render correctly and disable it. If it was able to be documented I'd be okay. But you don't really know what its disabling.
Like in Hitman the water renders wrong in 3d vision. Which is a bit of an annoyance but is livable. But launching tridef disables water. So you look like you are in the middle of a dried up ocean.

Good to know, I'll make comments more often.
I just played Psychonauts last week using the Helix Mod, and it worked pretty well. The skybox was in the right place for my setup, when I was in normal areas like the Camp.
Inside some brains, the skybox was wrong. Like in Milla's Dance Party, and Velvetopia. Not really as big a problem there, but if the fix is easy, it might worth adding to those.

I agree with bo3d, in the Camp the sky is not that bad, however inside the brains it's at the wrong depth and at least for me it makes the game really hard to play.
I hope you can do something about it eqzitara since 3d vision is far superior to tridef in this case, and I'll make sure to post a comment next time I find an issue with the fixes.

Installed and it doesn't recognize my monitor (samsung 2233rz). Configured as "Standard display types -> Direct3D Stereo" but doesn't work, error "00300122".
Lack of information on the FAQ page of Trideff (aparently system requeriments omit things). Apparently waste of time. Waiting some magic solution before to uninstall. Shamed to be tied to Nvidia poor support. Bye.

If you had read this thread at all, it's been mentioned multiple times that the Direct3D Stereo mode is broken. You have to use side by side. If side by side isn't an option on your monitor, you're out of luck.

Sorry I did read only a few lines of this thread. My monitor doesn't support side by side. Good to know that Tridef prefer to use this thread to inform people about system requeriments and posible bugs of the driver, instead of their own page. 15 days trial period thrown to the bin. Uninstallation process starts right now. Forced to continue using Nvidia "support". Looking forward to xbox or psx 3d support to say good bye to all this c..p.

btw devs have just posted a resident evil 6 profile for anyone interested:
"He's a profile we've been working on.
Tested it on the tutorial and the first part of the Leon campaign.
I know there are still a few things that may need a little tweaking but the profile is very playable and looks great in S3D or P3D."

I realise that RE6 doesn't work well with 3d vision so I thought maybe someone would be interested, and since this is a Tridef thread I think it's on topic.
I'm surprised mate, you talked a lot about Bioshock Infinite on tridef in these forums, and now you say that we should leave tridef discussion for the tridef forums? what gives?

RE6 its dx9, more people with 3D vision kits/monitors can play with the "Direct 3D 120hz" mode (dx11 render its the problem, not dx9).
a little off topics: I read very bads review about RE6....anyone playing this game can confirm/refuse this.
@birthright - That was directed at b4thman having a cry about how tridef prefer to use this (nvidia) forum to inform people about tridef - when no-one from tridef has posted here. I was telling him that if he wants "official" tridef support, talk to tridef and don't whinge about it here.
