Reserving the OP.
I have started playing and fixing it recently. I used the Unity scripts and ended with around 100 fixed shaders, although I don't know if they were actually needed, because I had to manually fix the most glaring issue (an almost always present haloing effect).
I'm not seeing any more issues, so if I reach like half the game and don't see any problems I'll release the fix.
It will have some extra features, as usual from me ;).
- Convergence hotkey (done).
- HUD depth presets (I didn't start yet. There may be problems if some of my suspicions are right).
- Depth of field toggle (done. They were 4 shaders on top of each other. Disabling it reduces GPU usage a bit).
- Grain filter toggle (done) that appears in some places.
- Bloom? toggle (done).
I have played for less than 2 hours and I'm liking it.

Hmm.. I have played it, nice game BTW !
But it didn't have any issues then, you just had to crank up the convergence till the sweet spot was found (removed the haloing) !

Yeah, I saw that post of yours before making the thread, in case there was something already fixed or whatever. Adjusting convergence to fix that effect won't be necessary anymore :).
Back to fixing!

Thanks for the great fix, masterotaku!
Your great fix works perfectly on my setup (Windows 10, 4K EDID), while playing. Unfortunately, the game crashes every time I quit, creating a crash log. After some testing, I discovered that the -window-mode exclusive launch option, not the fix, is creating the problem with game exit. If I eliminate this launch option, the game does not crash upon exit, but the 3D fix never engages. For now, I am just using Task Manager to terminate the game (error message hangs game), and deleting crash files. I am also sending a crash log to the game's tech support, with a link to your fix...

Allmost every Unity game, where the -window-mode exclusive launch option is nececary for 3D to kick in, crashes upon exit, so there's no need to contact this particular developer !
You can Alt+F4 out to avoid the crash most times, anyway it's not a big deal, just close the crash notice :)

I get the crashes always too, but I alt tab and close the crash report :p. The 3D hub player could be a good trick, but I'm already using the profile for another game with custom antialiasing options, so I prefer to not use it for this game.

@masterotaku
Maybe you can add the profile settings (present in the 3D HUB Player) needed for the game to enable S3D in the profile override in the d3dxl.ini.
