I am trying to get the 3D Vision running unter Liunx (tested Ubuntu 10.x and centOS 5.5) with no luck. In all cases I got the Card, the Monitor (Samsung SyncMaster 2233rz) and the NVidia Glasses connected and detected without errors. But when i activate the Option "Stereo" "10" the Display shows me the Errormasage "Check Signal Cable".
Im asking myself if it is because of the Quadro 4000, which is not listed in the compatibility list for 3D Vision. Can anyone confirm this?
Im adding my xorg.conf so anybody could tell me what went wrong.
Regards
Malte Paetow

We are seeing the exact same issue although with a somewhat different equipment:
- Nvidia Quadro FX 3800

- Samsung Syncmaster 2233rz

The xorg.conf file is attached. Could anybody give us a hint on what to modify and/or check?

It turned out that the cable shipped with the monitor was a single link DVI cable. However, for stereo one needs a dual link cable. After replacement stereo worked without any further problems.
