Sample 3D applications in Direct3D SDK works just fine. I am using NVIDIA quad fx 380 and ViewSonic GeForce 3D vision ready display and I dont think the1re is any problem with my setup.
I was trying the sample I got from http://www.ozone3d.net/downloads/ogl_d3d/gfx_tut02_d3d.zip

As you can see, the object is not renderred as 3D stereoscopic but the display showing that it is in 3D mode.
Does this object have any depth to it? It might be just a 2D drawing in directx? I don't know direcx so i can not look into the project. I use Unity3D for designing simple applications based on directx. When I run the application in full screen after compilation it works fine in 3D.

Again I appreciate your reply.
I figured it out luckily. My problem is that im using directx 9 and stereoscopic is only available in direct10 or higher.
Actually my big problem is that i dont know how to go in this stereoscopic 3D environment and this NDIVIA doesnt seem to be the right resource for newbie like me, not even a tutorial.I was wondering about the development tool, OpenGL, Direct3D or other higher language or tool? (you mentioned Unity3D which is a really nice tool).
With OpenGL stereo I failed. I couldnt find any sample or tutorial anywhere.
Currently I found Direct3D but sorry for my knowledge it seems to be complicated and I can see that to development a real application with events, objects changing and moving and things like that is not easy.
My purpose is to develop a configuration engine for one product, so that we can have a 3D view of the product in the middle and many options on the sidebar to configure it.
What do you think about development tool for stereo 3D application?

DX9 works fine with S3D, so that is not your issue.

Directx9 works fine but you need windows vista or 7.

Why don't you try Unity3D? It is a very nice tool and learning curve is easy. Moreover you can find lot of tutorials on it.

Thank you for your suggestion.
Unity3D is nice but as my job is a programmer, I want to do something really programming, not UI interaction or just drag and drop.
I am continuing with directx C++ after two days to have a look at C# XNA and SlimDX, they are nice tool also.

Unity 3d has a lot of standard patterns and data management already implemented. (Ca. 3 Year work for one programmer).
So you can program in unity 3d. The language is C#. The documentation is real unfunny and difficult to find needed information, like syntax etc...but its often so in the world :D

Just missing is a active 3D support for nv3d in unity.
So you can do in unity:
* stereoscopic textures/animations
* advanced lightning and cascade shadows

But the nv3d driver activate automaticaly the 3DS mode if you run in full screen.
