3D Vision glasses suddenly start to flicker

litte update:

I exchanged the glasses at the store last week and got my replacements the other day - turns out (big drumroll) that the first set was faulty. Everything has been working fine now so far - lets hope it stays that way :)

Help is always appreciated! Unfortunately in my case, it was already diabled. Enabling CE1 didn't help either :(

Thx all the same[/quote]

Laughable that some still can blame C1E for this (sorry Chiz).
-Theres some serious issue behind this ,and Im swapping to DLPLink glasses as fast as possible.

Once I have DLPLink , what advantage 3d vision provide me instead of iz3d or DDD ? Well not much !!!

Hell, I can even play opengl games you guys can't !!! ...where 's that ordering form....

JoxerTM, did you have the pyramid replaced aswell or just the glasses? I may just follow your lead on this as it can't do any harm....

I exchanged the whole package - just swapping out either the glasses or the pyramid (whichever of those two caused the issue) might have been an option aswell but the fellas at the store didn't even give me that option.
Then again it's probably easier for the stores aswell to swap out an entire box than just a single piece.

Thank you, I'll file an RMA and post my findings.

Glad your issue is resolved :)

Heh its np, it obviously worked for some people, that's the key with troubleshooting, no one fix is going to work for everyone just as no single problem will be the same for everyone. :)

As for what advantage 3D Vision provides over other solution, pretty sure SLI still isn't working with iz3D and DDD? Big enough reason for me.

SLI will arrive eventually, and they have features like auto focus (IDK what that is), plus correct handling of sights on weapons!

Ya no SLI is a deal-breaker for me, I wouldn't bother taking a chance with DDD or iz3D when Nvidia's 3D Vision is a known commodity and offers superior support and compatibility as it is right now. Plus, I don't have any lingering flickering issues with Fermi. As for expectations of iz3D and DDD resolving sights on weapons....not sure what you mean, since crosshairs and icons rendered in 2D or screen depth are not problems you can fix with the drivers. They can maybe do some workarounds like API injecting, which is what Nvidia's laser sight does but that carries a heavy performance penalty and also does nothing to remove the incompatible native overlays/crosshairs in the game.

3d vision with triple monitor surround still doesn't work for me. It works only if multimonitor surround is disabled. 3way sli works ok until 3d is activated, then the shutter glasses start to flicker again.

I feel very bad about having 3 3d monitors and 3 energy-eater-heat-radiating 200 buck cards that doesn't allow me to use them for what they where designed for (supposedly).

already tested them individually with no problem. Also tested with 3 different pairs of glasses with same results.

config
mb EVGA classified 4way SLI
I7 930 (tested same problem OC and stock)
3 Zotac gtx 470
1200w coolermaster SLI PSU
6gb ram corsair 1600 dominator 7-7-7-20-74
