Hi,
Does that set have the colourbug with ckeckerboard? only ask as the 50pz550 i had a few years ago did.

Fancomg, didn't you say that 1080p30 accepts a 60hz input signal, so the input lag is like normal 2D 60hz?
Chiz, did you say the 3DTV Play CB mode displays the red warning message?

I can't say for sure if the 3DTV Play version of CB has the red warning message, because I have to plug in the emitter in order to trigger 3DTV Play for my HDTV. There is a drop down choice that says "Checkerboard" instead of the monitor name or 3DTV Play from the 3D Vision tab in the NVCP.
So it's certainly possible that the red message only displays if you use 3DTV Play with the 3D Vision emitter and it's then searching for the VESA cable input because it detects the emitter. I'd be curious to hear if those who purchase 3DTV Play outright have the same problem.

I guess it shouldn't then. I'll be checking them out in person possibly as soon as tomorrow. I just can't stand the size of my tiny 27". Chiz, you never gave us that review of CB, or maybe you did? I was curious to hear your thoughts on the black pixels and how they effect brightness, if at all.

Hi
First I am glad the feature is working for most (some?) people and I apologize it did take that long to get added.
Second, I will flag the red text issue that chiz1 is experiencing with our SW engineering team for investigation.
Can anyone who is experiencing the VESA cable text issue, reply with your TV make/model?
Thanks

Thanks for the follow-up guys, my HDTV make/model is as follows:
Samsung UN46D7000
I have access to 3DTV Play only with the 3D emitter plugged in, but I also have the Asus VG278H attached but it's not the primary display when I am trying to use CB.
I have Checkerboard selected in the Nvidia Control Panel 3D output mode. This option is not available (3DTV Play logo also gone) if the 3D emitter is not connected.
The overall effect is great except for the red text of course, very little input lag and despite the noticeable jaggies and "texture" from the CB pattern on objects, the 3D image is much nicer than 720p framepacked 3D.

I'm using a none checkerboard projector, acer h5360bd.
I had onlt tested on the 3dtvplay test and that worked fine, just tested with Just cause 2 and checkerboard works fine with no issues at 720p and 1080p, i could see the checkerboard layout in the crosshair so it 100% checkerboard ;).
People having issues, maybe try a edid overide for something that does'nt support checkerboard.
Theres some here you can try ;)

If you can supply the edids from the tv's in question i could try it on my pj and see if i have the red overlay?
You cant damage anything with a edid overide.
Worst case scenario is that when you install the edid or change refresh rate you get stuck with a black screen.
If this happens reboot the pc into safe mode and use device manager ect to remove the graphics card drivers and just re-install them ;)
Edit
Just tried a samsung d8000 edid overide and that works perfectly fine allso.

@Chiz1 - What Driver version are you currently running?

I'm currently running 310.54 Beta, I haven't tried the latest Betas to see if they're any better.
Chiz, if you were using the Rollermod previously you need to uninstall it. Then reboot to get the TV recognized with the proper EDID or hotplug it.
If you were not using the Rollermod EDID Override, please disregard my post :)
Edit: Keep in mind that the Rollermod EDID Overide was to make a HDMI 1.4 TV appear as a HDMI 1.3 3D Vision supported TV
3DTV Play only works with HDMI 1.4 Displays
