Do you happen to have a samsung too and can compare using that same test? For a direct comparison from your pov rather than someone else saying they used it and got 10% on the samsung, but maybe you got 20%.

Johnny, are you at 120Hz or 110Hz? It makes a visible difference in ghosting measurements. I play at 110Hz.
im at 120hz. The samsung is packed up now, waiting to be picked up.
The worst ghosting i have seen is RE5. Otherwise you really have to focus hard to notice it in any other game. Im convinced its a driver thing and it will get better.
I will aslo add i have not had the glasses flicker once yet, light on or off, same thing.

All that is certainly nice and really seems to give a good jump in 3d tech. I'd still like to hear from someone who doesn't have the samsung packed up and can directly compare. I'd also kind of like to wait for the Acer, and maybe hope it's cheaper lol. 600 for monitor, 200 for 3d kit if you don't have one already... thats a lot of money. Especially for tech you don't know how it will perform for you. Though I imagine it's worth every penny if it works right. That working right thing is the problem heh
The monitor is $499 in the United States. :)
So it is... I see where I went wrong, when I found the link on google to the store page it was for the AUS site. And the $ sign is the same for both lol. Fun note though, when I went to the US store they have the monitor by itself and the monitor WITH the kit for 650. 50 bucks more than the samsung kit, and 50 under the cost of buying each by itself.

Huh, that is interesting lol. Although, I suppose that some bargain is better than none. I am just praying for a bargain on the upcoming Fermi graphics card. :)
