Asus VG236H - 23" LCD, 120HZ, 3D Vision Just released and reviewed
Could be the new current crown of 3D Monitors (!)
What is good
*HDMI
*Height Adjustable
*Higher contrast ratio than Acer HD 245HQ - 100,000 compared to 80,000
*Brighter compared to the Acer HD 245HQ 400cd/m2 - 300cd/m2
What we need to know is the following
*Is the overdrive as bad as the Alienware and Acer model?
*Is the 3D ghosting better then the Alienware and Acer models?
Personally I am tempted to get one and compare it against my Acer HD 245HQ, as you can see in my sig I was tempted to get 3D surround with the Acer's, as I have only one I can change easily.
Biggest problem right now is it appears you can't buy it without the 3DVision bundle.
I wanted it just because of the adjustable stand but I don't need a bundle. Don't know why they would have an option.
yes, glossy is horrible, looks like every 3d monitor maker makes horrible design decisions like this...
no sharpness control on acer, glossy screen on asus...
