I am using the Crosshair fix listed here. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2014/08/metro-2033-redux-dx11.html and now the game locks up when loading. Sometimes I can get to the main menu sometimes not. The game will always lock up when trying to run the Benchmark.
I used this fix before with no issues when I was on my 660ti and Windows 8.1. I cannot remember the driver version but it was older than the latest one for sure.
I just got a new Gtx 1060 so I thought I would give the game a try to see how much better it will run. I tried to load the benchmark and got to the Loading screen and then the game locked up. Had to Ctrl+ALT+DEL out of it.
The only way I got the game to run was to uninstall the Crosshair fix. Something about the fix is either incompatible with Windows 10 or the 1060 w/latest drivers.
Can anyone help me out?

I don't have win10 to test different settings in the d3dx.ini, but probably is some conflict between win10 and 3Dmigoto. You can use 8.1 or win7....at least in win7 there is no issues...works just fine! OR don't use the fix, you can play the game without crosshair...is more challenging (i finish the game like that).
i personally still don't recommend using win10 if you are gaming in S3D. And the anniversay update make thing worst.
PS: Also disable overalys, close MSI afterburner or similars, etc....

If you are using win10....try with this drivers: 368.39 (recent driver may have something that conflicts with 3Dmigoto)
Please let us know if works or not
I didn't think this game worked well at all in 3D vision, doesn't it have the disappearing objects and walls issue? I had to give up in the end.
REDUX version(s) had some minor things due to the "console-ization" it suffered. But 3D was 95% spot on.
Some objects would pop in existence a bit too close. But never ever I have encountered a "wall issue".
The original version(s) of the games are better in terms of 3D Vision as they are PROPER PC GAMES.
But, Redux is not BAD either;)
Definitely WORTH the effort :)
