If Helix thinks it's possible, I'd donate to a kickstarter.

Helix is one mortal man with a social life and a job. If and when if happens we'll get a thread on here and a post on his blog. Until then just leave the man alone! If you want to pester someone, its the developers that are using DX11 and taking shortcuts with post processing n such.

We're not pestering, we're just wondering if he'd be interested in putting more time into this in exchange for money :)

lumpeh's just talking about the people that are outright asking or PMing HeliX for fixes like eqzitara mentioned.

TsaebehT is on target :) I don't think its ever been about the money for Helix, though he jolly well should be getting paid a princely sum by Nvidia for his efforts in making this DLL and the advanced techniques to make unsupported titles look perfect.

Maybe pestering the game engine developers - go to the source - if the game engine renders properly in S3D to begin with there would be no need for tools to fix it afterwards.

I'll gladly put $100-$200 on a dx10-11 wrapper kickstarter, maybe more if needed, I'm far from rich but for me this would be amazing, and I'd gladly pass on PS4 / Xbox720 to get 3d on DX10-11 games instead. Bioshock Infinite in 3d... f*ck next-gen.

For the past year and a half we buy the games like everyone else without complaint. Maybe developers would take us more seriously if we all started pestering them.

For every game that the community (mostly Helix) has fixed, someone should go to the developers game forums and post a topic advertising it "3D Vision Fix for so-and-so Game", and linking back to the Helix Wiki. Not slagging off the developers, or complaining, but basically saying "look how good this is". Ignore the inevitable haters. This will then advertise 3D to that game's own community as well - 3D uptake has to come from both ends, developers and gamers alike. It's not entirely guaranteed that developers will look at or give a crap about their own forums, but it will be out there. I know this has happened for some games, but I doubt the coverage of all games on the Wiki games list site is very high.
I would gladly pay 100.00 or more if thats what it took..
If he could come up with a new wrapper I'd be MORE than happy to donante 250 Euro's. Actually, I wish I could donate that for the work he has already done so far. Or, maybe we should replace "The Statue Of Liberty" with a "Statue Of Helix" ;-)

If I know that DX 10/11 could be fixed id pay a lot more then 100.00. Helix seems like a really cool guy, but I think he is a private person, and he doesn't care much for praise or limelight. I do hope that he knows we appreciate what he does and doesn't get too annoyed with all the PMs and pestering from some or how ungreatfull some people are. I've never requested a fix from him or bothered him in anyway. I know he doesn't really do this for money, but a paypal donation on his site would be a good idea I think. Let people donate if they wan't but you don't have to ask for donations like so many others do. I think people would donate just to show their appreciation.
Well, I have been taught certain values in my religious upbringings. The one that seems to be related here is that of "giving". It seems this "Helix" person is giving much. I am sure the person needs resources for a place to stay, food, shelter, etcetera. Speaking on my own knowledge of myself, I know that privacy is a concern. For me, I like my privacy because I have a past record. So when I help out, I do it mainly to enjoy the company of others. However, disability comes from the public sector. So it is a long round-about way of getting resources back. The main point is that if you give where you can, it always comes around. This is just my personal humble opinion. Look at the homeless people on the streets. You give a few here and there to help them out. They have enough to clean up and contribute back to you. Being homeless once, I know that even what seems very little is a lot. If you give even one dollar to the charity of your choice, for instance entertainment for the disabled, they have some thing to do all day long. They cannot go to work, however, maybe that money could go to give them internet access. In return the elders can educate the youngsters on good manners, ect. I do not know what I am saying hehe Anyways, I am just making a point that I collect disability and in my spare time I come to the forum to 'try' and help out where I can. It is not to show-off or anything. It is about being a part of a community.
LOL?? Please keep taking your meds. You almost had me until the internet thing. I'm pretty sure people who are disabled and/or homeless need things that are more essential then the internet. I do feel bad about the homeless but many of them use the money you give them for drugs/alcohol, so in fact you are enabling them to continue to use those substances. There are other ways to help....
