Questions about 3DTV and HMDs 3D Resolutions VS 3DTV
sorry if this is somewhere in the forum or on the 3DTV page itself,
but i tried to search but couldn't find some infos, or just unhelpful ones.

As you seem to keep pushing active/passive 3D Monitor/TV solutions, whats nice for the normal mainstream,
but you are missing the enthusiasts that you build your higher/pricier models for.

So my questions, in the Manual only 720p for Gaming/other usages except watching Blue Rays is listed as supported:

1) are the other HDMI standartformats supported too for gaming/other useage?
HDMI 4.1a(hope they will be no problem, even for gaming):
1920x1080p @ 24Hz Frame Packing (full resolution)
1920x1080p @ 24Hz Top-and-Bottom (half resolution)
1920x1080i @ 60Hz Side-by-Side (half resolution)

Where it becomes interresting:
1920x1080p @ 60Hz Side-by-Side (half resolution)
1920x1080p @ 60Hz Top-and-Bottom (half resolution)
1920x1080p @ 30Hz Top-and-Bottom (full resolution)

2) If not will it be in the future? specially I am talking about this:
1920x1080p @ 30Hz Top-and-Bottom (full resolution)

As i am going for a new PC with Ivy Bridge 3770 and Kepler 680 card,
but instead of a Monitor i want to use(still keeping one Monitor for failsave purposes):
http://www.siliconmicrodisplay.com/st1080-features.html

3) Will it be possible to game with these Setup around mid May and an NVidia Card(and hopefully supported drivers from your tech team for it)
in anything other than your supported 720p that is on your product side?

Up to now, i just used mostly 3dfx products and NVidia products, so want to keep it that way(you easily grow attached to one company /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> )
but it would be a bit of a dealbreaker, or it will leave a poor taste this time, as i would cut something low on performance that cost me
about 1400$ (including, glasses, card, 3DTV and maybe 10$ for the ST1080 extraplugin, + maybe supportcosts on the serviceline).

4) As the market is hopefully pushing to displayport and 4k2k(hopefully around maxwell) and later 8k4k HMDs, will you support full resolution 1080p@60Hz for each display over displayport?
Hoping for a controllerbox switch around next fall/spring that get rid of HDMI and let me use a Displayport.
Or can i play over Displayport even now with 1080p60 on both screens(and you just forgot to mention it on the product page/i was blind)?

5) Seeing the Specs above, how many devices can i connect to the 680? 3 would be perfect for watching movies(clone mode),
gaming for 2 would be awesome but i think that would need gamesupport /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />.

And before anyone says its a new tech, no its at least around 20 years old.

Thnx for answering or updating your productspecs.
with best regards

Don't know if this will help but I use the Sony 3d Personal Viewer HMD with NVIDIA 3dTVPlay. The Sony controller box has HDMI pass through so you can use it with the TV.

Just saw, that Kepler 680 seems not to support 3D, so maybe i have to switch to an older nvidia GPU.

Why Nvidia is jumping off the 3D Train, i dunno, but who understands economists in their little special world(international economics).

@Darth: Thnx for the answer, that one will work somehow i know, as in the 680 specs its written 3 3D Displays are supported at the same time, so the question is any "Display", even the HMZ or just some special ones?

I am mostly missing exact infos(and technical restrictions), like:
common speed (165MHz) HDMI link can only reach 4.95Gbps
and and and (1080p formats for gaming, ...) :)
I know it from the HMDs but 3D Play and Card, i dunno and otherinfos as some nice PR is a bit missing on their product page.
