now i read here about differences between stereo 3d (stereoscopic 3d) and holographic 3d.
but thats not the question, at least not mine.
i think about buying the new 3d vision set (which here is the samsung 2233rz lcd monitor with a nvidia 3d vision stereoscopic glasses).
BUT it is pretty expensive AND with my old win98 pc (pIII) i still have an old nvidia grafics card and the old elsa revelator 3d stereoscopic glasses.
my question :
since i still have the old elsa 3d revelator glasses, would i need the 3d vision anyway ?
isnt it basically the same ?
only in new clothes ?
couldnt i use the revelator beside on the old pc with the old drivers and games also with my new pc (that has an nvidia 260 gtx) by simply using
the new drivers for 3d vision with my old revelator ?
so that i could use the revelator with new games as well ?
maybe it needs a patched driver for this task, is such a patched driver available anywhere ?

i wish i could save the money for the 3d vision kit and instead do the same with my old revelator on the new pc and new ganmes as well.
