The Witness is a new puzzle game about to release and it has Rift support so I thought it could well be go for 3D vision.

Releases in a few hours, fingers crossed.
Yeah! Waiting for the Rift version. This game will be awesome in VR.
It'll be interesting, that's for sure. I'm reading some of the Steam reviews, and it seems a lot of people are solving puzzles by either taking screen shots (and solving that way) or making drawings. I guess you can take screenshots in VR, but you certainly won't be taking notes or drawing this way.
I've also heard someone say the FOV was locked because puzzles were designed around this. I'm assuming by the videos and how claustrophobic it looks, it's 45 degrees. Maybe that dude was just wrong, but you have to have a 100 degree FOV with VR. And it could use a toned down VR walking speed to boot.
It'll be interesting to see just how much effort is put into the VR mode to make it more comfortable.

I played it, absolutely beautiful game. I tried using 3d vision for a bit and for the most part it works. The shadows, lighting, and most of the effects aren't broken :) But the water reflections are broken as well as a few other minor things, but it's pretty playable as is. I imagine it shouldn't be to difficult to fix.

I was just wondering if fixing this game was on anybody's radar yet. This game has some of the best environments I've ever seen and already looks stunning in 3d. As sgsrules said there aren't that many issues with it apart from the broken reflections.
I'm almost tempted to try and fix it myself but i don't have any experience with fixing shaders. I doubt that fixing the reflections would be something a novice like myself could do and simply disabling them wouldn't look very good.

It is set to fullscreen in the options menu, turned off all OSD programs and all the non-essential background processes, turned off SLI and DSR, tried adding a "-fullscreen" parameter to the launcher, set the shortcut to launch maximized. Nothing works, the 3D light comes on for a split second and then goes in 2D mode.

Apparently you can add the launch parameter -vr to the Steam launch paramaters and the game will run in VR mode compatible with the rift. It is supposedly magnificent.
