What's the difference between Solo Campaign and New Game+? I remenber that New Game+ was a mode that you could only select after finishing the game, so you could start a new game with all weapons and upgrade from the last time you've played. At least was like this with Dead Space 1 and 2, so I have no idea what that means for Dead Space 3, since I haven't finished the game yet, and the mode is there to select???? I appreciate if someone can enlight me on that matter...

I using this sweetfx config, im still doing some changes (but minors):
1) Download [url="https://s3.amazonaws.com/dhr/Dead.Space.3_Sweetfx.zip"]Here[/url] and Extract to same place where "deadspace3.exe" is located
2) Edit dx9settings.ini and add the proxy line in the [General] tag (ProxyLib = X )
Where "X" its the path of d3d9fx.dll (sweetfx dll)
Sweetfx its on when the game start, if you want to disable/enable press "SrcLock" key.
The N7 suit (if you have Mass Effect 3 installed, its free):

It's thrilling to hear that this game is now great in 3D with the Helix fix. How's the actual game play though, I heard it moved away from the horror elements and more action. But does it still feel like a Dead Space game? Does it still ooze that atmosphere that the first two have? I have to wait before I purchase, but I don't know if I can hold out....LOL

Is there any way to play DS3 with 3D Vision Helix Mod + SweetFx?
My problem is the d9.dll will be overwrite after copy on of this modifications.
any idea?

From the helix mod site "How to install"
ADDING OTHER DLLS THAT ENHANCE GAME(ENB, INJECTFX, ETC)
First off if its name is EXACTLY d3d9.dll you need to rename it. If fix does NOT include a dx9settings.ini you must create one(if it does just edit it). Create a .txt rename it dx9settings.ini then put this information then save it. EXAMPLE
[General]
ProxyLib = C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\d3d9FXAA.dll
UseEndScene = false

Helix did a terrific job for Dead Space 3. The game is looking perfect in 3D to me. It's a 3D Vision Ready title according to my eyes. I haven't seen one single issue. I'm still in chapter 4 though. I've only turned lensflare off in the game's menu. All settings maxed out. This game is very little performance demanding. My GPUs never go above 45% usage.... and temperature is really cool, like 45c. Gameplay smooth like butter.
The DS3 atomsphere is still scary as hell, specially playing the game in 3D + darkroom + high quality headphones + 27" display. I felt the game's tension a lot while playing. Love this feeling that only Dead Space series bring it.
DHR, I'll try the SweetFX deal, thanks for the info, trully appreciated.

So, it should be like this: Proxylib = d3d9fx.dll or Proxylib = X under under [General] tag???

Yeah this still feels like a deadspace game, although its not scary at all.
I never finished the first game because I'm a massive wimp when it comes to games with any tension at all, but I forced myself to stick with the second game, and quickly became immune to the jump-scares and loved it, but I've only jumped once in the 3rd game and that was because something exploded and I wasnt expecting it.
I still love the gameplay and the atmosphere, and I can appreciate Dead Space 3 for what it really is. Some of the mutations this time round are pretty freaky, and its nice to fight against something other than just Necromorphs.
Its a pretty good port too, I've not really noticed any really poor textures, and the kbd/mouse support is great. The menu's are still a bit clunky but we can use the mouse to navigate them now which is an improvement.
AND I LOVE HELIX! You have done a great job with this game, so thank you once again :-)
