Call of Duty:Black OPS Patch 3D Crosshair Fixed
Just a head's up that I downloaded a patch on Steam for this game and the 3D crosshair is working again. I guess I better finish the single player campaign before they break it again!

I can confirm that this patch does indeed fix the 3D Crosshair issue in Call of Duty Black Ops.

Still not optimized for PC. I have a GTX 470 and still FPS dips into the 10s now and then during SP in 3D (thats with or without shader warming). Multiplayer is fine. It still over utilizes my CPU and under utilizes my GPU. I will now turn off shadows (because that still affects performance) and grin and bear it because it is a fun game.

If I remember correctly you have a q6600 right? I do too. Our processor is creating a bottleneck. Only explanation. I also have a old hard drive that needs upgrading. My memory speed is probably too low.

3d stereo causes the rendering workload to double i think or something close to that figure.

rexford is right. Everyone here has cpu's and gpu's that are more powerful than the xbox 360. If they can get the game running at a solid 60fps on the xbox, then we know that they just lazied it up for pc. The game still dips into the 40's in 2d mode, and single digits in 3d. Nothing changes even if I turn settings down.
I should think, if they could optimize it for pc to get a solid 60fps, then 3d should be a solid 30fps which is a far cry better than what it is now, which is all over the place. /unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
