Your videocard is really outdated....

What are your plans with 3d ? (playing games/watching 3dmovies/pictures ?)

The 9600 GSO would make a good PhysX card to complement your Stereo 3D gaming, especially since it's a single slotter. But as far as S-3D gaming, it will in most instances not have the processing power for the high frame rates needed for an enjoyable S-3D gaming experience. But it couldn't hurt to try it, I'd start out with low quality in-game settings and work up from there. It'd certainly depend on the games you play, older games requiring less rendering power may work at an acceptable level.

Well, let's give an example...

3dvision needs to render things twice, so in short your fps will be halved...
If you have an avarage of 25 fps with Call of Duty ,then when you turn on 3dvision you will get an avarage of 13 fps.....!
So it will not run fast anymore, and you need to lower some video settings....

Now you can do your calculations yourself...

Can always P.m. me if you want to talk in Dutch....
