I got the Samsung / 3d vision bundle in today and eagerly set it all up. Now on the 2nd page i believe of the "mediacal test" (i installed both the latest gpu drivers and the 3d vision drivers first) it asks me to push the green button on the emiter. There is indeed a green button there but when i press it it does absolutely nothing.... (it should get bright green i believe)
its like its not activating or something ? I tried some games but see no real diffrence with 3d enabled (trackmania my main testing subject) i can put strength at 200% and while i see things changing i see no 3d...
I think its because the light isn't bright green, can anyone verify that and more important whats wrong ?

If pressing the green button on the emitter has no obvious effect, there's definitely something wrong with your setup or with the emitter itself. When you push the button, it should get brighter (greener) and the glasses should get very obviously darker. The effect is unmistakable.
Maybe try a different usb port? Are you using a usb hub? There seem to be lots of problems with the emitter and hubs, make sure you have it plugged directly to a mobo usb port.
If it still doesn't work, it might be a hardware problem with the IR emitter itself. I'd recommend calling the 3dV tech support number given in the "Tips & Tricks" manual.

Ok after some more testing i now have the following, when entering a game that has 3d functionality my emiter goes bright green and i guess it works (though i don't see a lot of 3d, more like ghosting, red lines and in some cases white lightning flashes (medussa demo)
BUT I can still not manually swich between 2/3d on the emiter..... soo when i look at a 3d video (with a stero3d viewer) i can see it supposed to be 3d but my light ain't bright on the emiter and the glasses ain't doing nothing ...

Don't use the Medusa demo as your test platform. It's jacked up and doesn't work well or at all for a lot of people. It's really the worst designed "demo" ever. I'd recommend using a game known to be a good performer as your test platform, or even the plain vanilla nvidia 3d logo test screen.

You said "with a stereo 3d viewer" -- what stereo 3d viewer? The nvidia 3d Vision stereo video viewer, or a 3rd party app? Not sure if/how 3dV works with 3rd party apps. Personally, my emitter (and thus the glasses) activates instantly anytime my screen goes into 3d graphics mode, and if it doesn't it will come on when I push the button. If it doesn't, again, there must be something wrong with your setup. It should.

man no red lines in 3d mode with using s3d vision kit. probalby you choose red-blue glasses in setup. check it please
in normal mode the 3d mode looks like double frames on your screen, no any kind of colored objects
