This is still very CPU dependent, right? I'd love to be able to get Silent Hill: Shattered Memories running flawlessly in 3D. Completely off-topic but those animated gifs absolutely kill my laptop. Chug chug chu ... g! :)

Hi. This is feedback for the newer version. -When maximizing the window, you see a giant window before it becomes fullscreen (right before 3DVision flashes the screen) that says in the title bar "now loading". -Whenever I press ESC to exit out of the game, I get a black screen. Pressing it again 'sometimes' goes back to the game list. -Pressing Alt+Enter to go into window mode, I get this: http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/1803/bo46.jpg Pressing Alt+Enter again afterwards just gives me a white screen. -Going back to the gamelist with the emitter still on results in the emitter staying on (becoming broken). When exiting the emu or the video of the emu, the emitter should shut off with it.

You'll need a Bluetooth adapter/dongle and an infrared 'sensor' bar, I have a Wii and a Wii U also so I just wound up buying a USB sensor bar off of eBay and I plug it right into the TV ... either way though ... Skyward Sword sucks bug time, so no loss there. :) I finished it on Wii and wasn't happy with it at all, 3D might help a bit but overall they just screwed so much of it up. The aiming isn't done with the Ir pointing of the Wii Remote, like in Twilight Princess ... which was perfect for aiming, instead they use tilting motion controls which couldn't be done as easily 'from the wrist' when you have to aim the remote practically straight down to aim down enough sometimes.

What version/revision of Dolphin is working for you guys? I can't get it to work for me. I get the games to start and the Nvidia text of unknown application shows up, but the games are in 2D. I have toggled Ctrl+T several times, but the info toggles on and off and the game remains in 2D. The older Dolphin versions that have the 3DVision checkbox work fine on my 3DTVPlay setup. (Minus graphical glitches that this version fixes)

Where did you get the DX9 plugin? and where do you put it to use it? The official dolphin builds removed the DX9 plugin and only have DX11 now.

Does dolphin use real fullscreen or fake windowed fullscreen? Seems like fake windowed. 3D vision should activate if it was real fullscreen without a 3D vision option like it does in the direct3D for nestopia, etc. If someone can add to the emulator for it to use real fullscreen in the direct3D backend, maybe that's all that we'll need to have 3D vision working without all the nonsense bugs.

I downloaded the latest version that you linked to, and 3D vision works with it as well as DX9 shows up. However, the patch provided by chiri still only shows DX11 for graphics options. Does anyone know if Chiri's patches were implemented into the more recent Dolphin builds?

So are there actually GC/Wii games that work in 3D without issues? Wind Waker seems shockingly perfect at first but does it still hold up later in the game? Also tried Mario Sunshine and that doesn't seem to work at all sadly. And yeah, the build in the OP isn't working for me either, but I don't have the games it fixes anyways except Pikmin.

I'm curious how this is working for folks as well. I'm trying to play Zelda Skyward Sword and I don't have a Wiimote motion +, so was using one of the builds with emulated support for that. 3d does activate, but some of the textures don't show up in the left eye. Have other people experienced that? Is that something that this build fixes? Very neat project, thanks Chiri for working on this.

Had time to check this out on the weekend. It seems Chiri's changes aren't rolled into latest Dolphin release 4.0.2 so I am running 2 versions. Chiri's for Zelda Twilight Princess and the latest for Super Mario Galaxy 2. 3DTvPlay works great for both versions. I just tick Fullscreen, set fullscreen resolution and don't bother ticking any 3DVision options in the emulator itself. Pity about eye swap issue with Zelda (have glasses upside down), but apart from that this works brilliantly.
