Responded to your PM. It really is a fantastic and underrated game, and I was thrilled when I heard it was getting a PC release recently. The console version was really bad in terms of resolution, draw in and frame rate. But this port is really solid. I'll see about getting a copy for the shared account. thanks for the idea.
Capcom allways makes solid ports, some of the best actually ! Just say the Word, if I can tribute in any way, also finalcial wise :)

Necropants just picked up a copy for the communal shaderhacker accounts, so if anyone wants to take a look at the 3D, it's ready for use (once it releases in 4 hours).

I'm looking forward to this. The console version was great, but this one has the dlc currency, etc. rolled into mob drops and the micro-transactions have been removed. I also remember how good RE5 looked on my passive 3D. Time to kiss a hundred or so hours goodbye. Tell my wife and daughter I love them :P Also, I'm assuming if this does well we may get a port of Dragon's Dogma Online...

Way better combat system than The Witcher 3. Graphics are decent and I have some performance issues actually, everything on max. hm... 3D vision looks okay. Shadows are definitely broken and some shaders. I love it already :) [b]Any idea how to turn them off? I tried =OFF and =NONE in the config ini with write protection, but this all does not help. I commented earlier 3D was excellent. As good as Re6 and Raccoon city . I tested the steam version on the same pc and all the shadows are broken. The shadows reminds me of the Dead Island Games without a fix. I went back to the first version which I commented on and all is fine is to good to excellent. Also I tried both versions with Tridef using RE6 profile and the Steam Version had shadow problems. So from now on I will not comment on a unreleased game. This way everyone on the same page.

Yeah I spent quite a bit of time on this trying different things to no avail due to your initial report. But hold on you are saying its fine on your I assume torrented copy? but the release version is broke? I find this all confusing because I tried the exact same thing.. Oh well I'll just drop it. mrorange55 yeah Shadows and the 2d hud where the only problems I saw, and yeah I couldn't find a way to turn off the shadows either. It's a shame the revelations 2 tweaks don't work. Well there is a copy on the shared shader hacker accounts now so hopefully someone takes an interest. I will have a look but shadow fixes are a bit over my head at this point.

This game has horrible graphics unfortunately, and the pop in is atrocious. I'm gonna skip this one. Animation and clipping is also horrible. Combat is kinda cool, and it's funny how you can climb monsters and attack them. If you can get past the crappy presentation, then it might be worth a try.....

Can't really say I agree with you there. Remember this is a ps3 game from 2011 of course the graphics aren't going to be amazing. Horrible is a stretch. Yes the pop in is annoying but you get used to it. Don't see where you are coming from regarding the animation, has a lot better combat animation than most modern games at the least. But each to their own. I am currently working on a simple fix to disable the shadows, and am making good progress. I'll attach it here when I'm satisfied. It wont be perfect, but it should bring it to a playable level until someone else gets around to looking at it.

The combat system really is satisfying and it also seems to have some learning or level up curve. I like it, even that it is from 2011. ;)

Nice find! Good too see the mods are coming in already. Okay, so I have thrown together a quick and dirty fix. Please note this is only disabling the shadows and I've only seen the first couple of areas so there is likely to be more issues. For example there are a couple of problem shadows in the first fight with the chimera, due to it trying to eat my face while I was shader hunting. ;) I might look into this more later. Also note I am doing the shader disable in the "dirty" way so if you get any instability that might be it. I have included the Dumps and did my best to comment them, in case someone with more skill wants to use it as a starting point for a real fix. The name plates can be turned off but it makes it a bit tricky as well, should really be pushed in. *rename to .rar*

Won't be straight away though - still working on Batman, and promised to look at a Witcher 3 issue as well.

That would be awesome, thank you Mike_ar69 Anyone have any idea how to get daisy chaining .dlls to work with helixmod? I don't seem to be having any luck getting it going with the enb profile D-Man11 posted. I've update the DX9Settings.ini to point to the enb .dll and nothing. i.e Proxlib = D:\steamlibrary\steamapps\common\DDDA\d3d9enb.dll Anyone know if there is a trick to getting this working?
