I don't know if you'r TV does this, but generally 120Hz TV's don't take a 120Hz input, instead they generate fake frames between real ones to boost perceived framerate. It takes time to do this, and generates input lag. Check the menu's for a gaming mode.

ive been having some issues with the last several drivers in regards to 3dtv from pc. As you've described I also experience studder curser, jittery or otherwise laggy imput when I scroll over the tv but returns to normal when pulling the curser back to the monitor. From what ive seen at times its just the way it is and nothing fixes it. Other times tv res can get changed in nvcp and will need to be returned to the 60hz settings and applied. curser movement will return to normal. Most tv will require you to set the imput terminal on the tv (rename to something like DVI-PC or Game PC) or like my 3dtv it will only accept 3d input from just one of the 3 inputs. 3d pics or vids from a usb stick require I input the usb stick in to a certain usb port on the tv. I cant say about 3d movies as I use the PS3 for rental 3d movies and for my DL 3d movies I will put on a usb stick to tv to avoid 3dtv play software. The 3dtv software gives the image on the tv a "weird look" which I don't like... same as you expect from 3d gaming on the tv using 3dtv play software.

/// Change the name of the TV input to "PC" in the input menu (use blue buton). That work for me.. but you will lost the TruMotion 120Hz function.. but for the same effect on movies do this: http://dsync.blogspot.com/2012/01/playing-video-on-60-fps-update-2.html I recommend you only use the 48 FPS mode (at the end of the post): "Alternative solution 1: using the framedouble plugin (48 FPS instead of 60 FPS)" And my TV Say 240Hz.. but that is only for TruMotion effect.. is not a Real 3D 120Hz input display. For use better 3D, I recommend you use this: "To Enable Interleaved 3D Vision at 1920x1080 on your 3DTV...." (better than 3DTV Play). /// :P I have not used Windows 8 yet and I think I will not. Try this: Play a video using Media Player "Classic" (included in K-lite Codec Pack), while playing you should see a red icon beside the clock on the taskbar with the letters "FFv". double-click it and then you can configure the rest.
