DOOM (2016) - 3D Vision Fix
Related to your Error: That is the Nvidia driver HANDLING the stereo OUTPUT, not me, not my software. So what happens there is UNKNOWN to me. Can't help you there... Unless you get 3D Vision Monitor...
No, this is a misunderstanding. It works perfectly for me, I just wanted to help MAN-biker. But it's true I'm using a line interlaced passive 4K LG HDTV with modded Acer EDID (via HD-Fury Integral). The Acer is one of the special monitors (like Zalman or Mitsubishi DLP HDTV) that are supported natively by 3D-Vision. So I can confirm that your fix even works in this scenario and Ctrl+T toggles between line interlaced and SBS 3D modes. SBS gives a slight performance boost, as both views are only rendered with half the screen resolution compared to line interlaced. And of coures the LG accepts both 3D modes. And after playing a bit with the settings my 980Ti can maintain 100+ FPS in 3D and 4K resolution and it looks awesome!

Looks like I got blocked from Multiplayer and Achievements when started game with the fix. It shouldn`t because there was no file modifications but it did anyway. I didn`t change anything else. Someone mentioned that even simplest change in exe files will block you. I don`t care much about Multi anyway so it`s good. Just a heads up for those who gets it as well.

Yeh the fix works for me too :) Thanks. next step , buying a graphic card to reach those damn 60 fps. Actually 37 with the 780 ti in 3d.

Sorry Nobsi, I quoted you by mistake;) I wanted to quote MAN-biker:)) I am unaware of what hardware configurations work with 3D Vision. I know the official supported monitors + 3DTVplay works with the wrapper but don't know about other TV/Monitors with edid hacks and the like:) In which case it little I can do if I can't replicate he issue;) Really glad it works;) @SKAUT: Did you enable the Developer Mode by any chance? Added the extra flags on Steam Launch? I am not modifiying the exe in any way or what the game is sending;) What I modify is between the game and the driver. There is no way the game knows about this;) Achievements + Multiplayer works fine here. I also found more broken shaders in Multiplayer section that it seems I will need to address ;)

I won`t bother about it much because I don`t play Multi anyway. Game looks good and that what matters. A few people had that without doing anything so it also might be theirs problem with the game itself. I was wondering if anybody else got that after the fix. Looks like it`s just a coincidence.
Very weird as is working fine here. I even play the game in Surround with Flawless Fixer (that actually injects code in the memory space of the exe) and achievements + Multi works fine. It didn't work when I had enabled the Dev Mode or had any dev-mode options on though.. Fixing the multi is hard though...as there are different shaders and people love shooting me in the face instantly:)) can't hunt one shader lol...

Changing the 5.5 value works just fine. You need to restart the game after. Try setting it to 0 and will see is 2D:) The value there is not between 0-1 but 0-10. At 7.5 it becomes a bit too extreme though;)

I just wanted to give it a try today. Before deciding how I will play the game in the end (Sony HMZ-T3/Single Screen or Surround with some sacrifices) I wanted to try the fix first on a single screen just to see if everything works ok. So I installed the fix just as mentioned by helifax (completely skipped page 4 of the instructions.pdf because this page seems to be dedicated exclusively for Surround-users) and now I am getting some kind of 3D but it looks totally weird. I will add some screenies so you know what I am speaking of. Also weird is the fact that I am on Win 10 64-Bit but was also facing the "black screen"-issue when launching the game. So I tweaked the .ini just as recommended for Win7 users and since then I didn't got that issue again. Currently I am using driver 365.19 / Win 10 64-Bit/ Titan X Single. Any idea?

What formats and refresh rates does the Sony HMZ-T3 support? If it just accepts Frame Packed it might not work.

Those screenies I took when I played on my Acer XB270H 3D Vision 2 monitor! But I also tried it on the HMZ-T3. Looks absolutely identical!
