3D vision not starting Windows 7, doesn't work in games
Hi. I recently got a new computer and tried using the 3d vision. The drivers install fine, and the demo files work great (including the video), but the 3d vision doesn't start when I load up games. Granted, I've only tried two games, both of which are kind of old (Tribes 2 for one), but the IR sensor won't even turn bright green when the game starts.
I reinstalled the drivers and all my drivers are current.
Windows 7 64 bit
Pentium i7
GeForce GTX 275
6 gig ram
Samsung 2233rz

So, I downloaded a demo of a more modern game; 3d started right up. That begs the question, is there anyway to force 3D on older games that arn't supported directly by the nvidia drivers? Thanks.

Depends on how old. We really want to have profiled the game in house to ensure it works right, or else it may result in bad 3D quality.

aight, figured out one of the game's problem. tribes 2 is openGl, so i guess you still don't support that right?
as for the other one, it's not old, just a smaller indy developer. starwraith games makes a series called evochron. it's a space flight simulator. think FSX... but space... and lasers. anyway, many of the players use trackIR, just like fsx players. when I had asked earlier if any players there had used nvidia 3d vision, none had but many expressed an interest. something to consider developing a profile in, should be fairly easy (there is only one guy who makes the game, and he is very dedicated). the graphics are simple and everything is full 3d (no 2d lights, etc). something to consider, i'm sure it would get you a handful of new customers. they like their bumpit accessories just as FSX people do.
