I have a Samsung UN46C7000 TV, GTX 480, 3D TV Play, and NXG Technology glasses that are cheaper and compatible with the Samsung displays.
My 3D works pretty good. I've used it for Dead Space 2, Crysis, and the like. I see ghosting sometimes, but it's not too bad. I went that route so I don't know about the other ones. I think if you get the Nvidia emitter you need to run checkerboard setting on your TV. Here is some pics of the rig. Notice how I have a desk that is able to move away from my mobile cart. Don't want to strain my eyeballs. I have a KVM so I run a PC and my MAC, that's why you see the Apple keybaord and trackpad. And the cable management is horrendous. I do have a solution, I have not implemented it. I have only my battery backup in the outlet so I can just unplug and GOOOOOO! CAPS LOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL, FYI. RSVP, PVP.

Apple is going to have laser TV within a year, wiping the floor with these, there will be no comparison.
That DLP TV would look best now, but the design is at least 6year old , its not up to date, while other TV-s are simply rebadged 2d to 3d , with crosstalk issues and stuff, they just rely on "3D effect" gimmick.

@Ambush083 , im actually concerning UN55D6900 because i think active glass is better 3D than passive LG and im using it for monitor, need better quality in 2D as well. but im not that good
correct me if im wrong,, what do u think is better TV for my concern
anyway so i don't need 3d vision emitter and nvidia glass, i can just use samsung glass right?
@ tritosine2k , comparing to even samsung 3D TV, youre claiming that DLP is still better 3D? cuz i dont' care about design as long
as 3D quality is better LG 55: 55LW6500? or samsung UN55D6900

DLP is still the best technique. The only tech that has zero ghosting. I use an acer h5360, but i also got a few 3d lcd's. And it has 1280x720p at 60hz per eye which is superior to 3d play.

FYI, CRT projector is better than DLP , it has no ghosting with P43 type phosphor. P43 contains rare earth, and your average commercial CRT has no rare earth, hence it has afterglow.

do you see the big difference between DLP setup and samsung 3Dtv setup i mentioned? because im too new to this area and
if theres no big difference i will go with samsung cuz it looks nice and newer model, but if there is a huge diffrence, 3d Quality w
wise i will reconcern about getting DLP.

There would be an obvious difference, you have to avoid ghosting with flatscreen, limiting your use of 3D settings, while you can't really make DLP crosstalk. Not so obvious is that colors on DLP are better too.

Beware of posts that offer "some guy said" testimony. Some people, like Tritosine2K, read specs and offer advice. These people have never observed 3D gaming on either Samsung or DLP, so take their commects for what they're worth.
DLP sets like the Mitsubishi have a distinct "screen door effect" in CB mode, so don't get DLP. Samsungs plasmas/LEDs don't have this shortcoming.

hey guys, first, I've been searching about hooking up my desktop to watch/play 3D movies/games
already read many threads but still don't get it.
my desktop is already ready for 3D, having GTX 550 Ti so i just need Tv (above 46")
I want to hook up my desktop to the TV im getting and use it as a daily monitor(i don't own any other monitor for this PC, will
only hook up to TV) and play 3d games and watch movies
Question A) What im concerning the most is the quality of 3D, i don't care about the space (if option 1(DLT setup)
is the best, i will go with)
1) 3d vision setup : mits DLP listed on nvidia website + 3d vision + emmit + nvidia 3d glass
2) 3DTV play setup : any 3D TV that is listed on nvidia 3dTV play page, (im looking at LG 55" 55LW6500 or samsung UN55D6900 )
+ TV manufacturers glass + 3DTV play software
3) mix setup: 3D TV (such as LG 55: 55LW6500 or UN55D6900 )+ 3d vision + emmit + nvidia 3d glass
can you compare these three options for price/quality wise?
for example price (less expensive to setup / more expensive to setup)
1< 2 < 3
question B ) If im going with 3D TV (option 2,3 above), 120hz? or 240 hz? or nvidia 3d TV play only supports upto 120hz? or 240hz?
im asking alot but this will help me and other ppl concerning about getting 3D easily well
Thank you.

RSVP, PVP.

Dude you don't know what screendoor is.
Plasma is the darkest 3D , and LCD has crosstalk, DLP is neither, its commonplace buddy.
& I have a coretronic DLP TV , that's made by Optoma 's parent company, one of the very few in Europe.
Look up screen door next time, so you won't talk nonsense.
(DLP has the lowest screendoor, and highest fillfactor, way better than LCDplasma in this aspect too)
