Empire Total War Demo no s3d? why cant we create our own s3d profiles?
Looks like another demo refuses to play nice with GeForce 3d vision. Downloaded Empire total War demo yesterday to check out if it is S3d compatible and cant get any convergence difference between near and far. I am hoping it is the same issue as was present with Burnout paradise early demo in that it is not in the Geforce profile and therefore refuses to go into correct S3d?
If that is so I continue to be disappointed that we have to wait for Nvidia to allow us to try out a new game in S3d until it is released in their profiles? Why cant we create our own profiles?
Total War Rome used to work amazingly well in s3d so I am hoping total war empires will when profiled. However I would like to demo test a game to see if s3d works and this crazy profile locked out method prevents me from trying out many games that are probably well suited for s3d.
I saw some people got around this profile issue by changing the name of the executable to something that is in the profiles but you cant do that with a Steam game apparently. ughh.. so many layers of control.. When do we finally get control over games we buy ????
