New Release 270 Drivers 270.51
  4 / 10
Driver installed without a hitch (express method), however when I launched Arcania Gothic 4 in s3d, left-eye picture is now grey fog with object outlines, right eye renders correctly. Rebooted the PC, same story. Everything worked fine with previous driver, if a bit choppy. What gives?

Hi

Ghosting is very much specific to the tuning we do in house. We dont have a simple slider we can enable since its not that easy.

We will continue to investigate what type of controls we can offer for this.
thanks for your answer,

if you have read the ghosting thread here you have proofs that some people has solved just changing usb (another chipset) or plugging a webcam on the shared port, so, while i appreciate the effort you invest to make something universally perfect for everyone please understand that it's easier to win the lottery.
I've tried all possible things with no luck.
I remember on older 3d vision cd versions there was some registry values related to the sync signal, they have never worked by the way, tried all 3dvision cd releases, probably they was there as some code left from developing and not yet cleaned, but if those registry strings was there it probably means that they have worked somewhere, or that was just a part of a failed attempt?

These new drivers have killed Black Ops performance for me. Went from solid 60fps to... sometimes 10fps. On my SLI 570s. Not cool.
Nvidia better look into this as well. I'm reverting back to 266 for now. I can deal with hl2 crosshair stuff, but I can't deal with performance losses for games that ran perfectly before.

In Arcania Gothic 4 3D is broken too with this new drivers. In left eye I see the sky (all blue) in the right is the normal screen.

[*]3D Vision Window mode improvements. Lots of good things here: 1) Notebook support, 2) 3DTV Play support for HDMI 1.4 TVs, a new UI to toggle Window mode support on/off, and 4) you can now use Window mode with Aero enabled (i.e. the driver will not switch to Windows Basic theme). I think this is some really good features for lots of users

With 3DTV Play support for HDMI 1.4 TVs, will it work with any TV with HDMI 1.4 with 3D Frame Packing? For example, LG 47LD950 with passive 3D is not listed in supported sets for 3DTV Play, but it supports the mode.

    ello everybody...
I am having the following issue described here: http://forums.nvidia...howtopic=196753

I'll just copy paste it here:

    Hi,

Anyone else experiencing very poor results with the latest 3D vision Controller?? I have 1xGTX295 with these drivers installed. 3D vision settings (using the setup): LAN environment and 110 MHZ refresh rate. What I experience: I enter Dragon Age 2 for example, 3D vision kicks in…. and I see both the images (glasses are on). Basically I see in right and left eye both images. Quick fix. Disable and Enable 3D vision ( from transmitter or using CTRL+T). This fixes the problem for like 10 secs….then the “out of sync” starts again.
I want to mention: I NEVER HAD THIS PROBLEM with the older 3D Vision Controller…..

    Proof:
Here you can see the exact problem I mentioned:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRWtcyJZI6Y

Maybe is related to GTX200 series ONLY with 3D Vision enabled…
I have two pairs of glasses…both fully loaded…both manifesting the same….
As I stated earlier…this “problem” didn’t appear until updating… to the latest drivers…

I have just re-checked…using older drivers (267.24 as graphics drivers +266.58 as 3D Vision Controller) everything works correctly… So it seems that the problem is in the new release…. where exactly I cannot say… but I suspect the 3D vision controller….

    Anyone else experiencing this??

    Hey Helifax.

I have the exact same issue with these drivers. The old drivers work fine. I was using the .77's because that seemed to be the only driver version that rendered the ambient occlusion in BFBC2 at the right depth. I was hoping this driver would fix that issue as well as add support for more games, but it seems like the NVIDIA 3D vision team is about as big as a Mom 'n Pop business.

I've tried everything under the sun and I can't get 3DTV Play to work with this driver. I uninstalled this driver and went back to an older one and it's fine. This one seems to think I don't have it installed. In the Nvidia panel it has the purchase link.

Is it just broken in this beta or is there some trick to getting it to work?

Thanks for letting me know...Since my GTX590 is still on the shelf (wainting for the damn waterblock to get here) I will play more with the GTX295. However...More people reported NOT HAVING these issues on GTX500 cards... ( 2xGTX580 in SLI cards). They have reported that is working OK.

LucLongley23, what GPU(s) are you using?
PS: Enabling or disabling SLI didn't seem to render any better effect, except for the loss in performance;)

So, is the 3DTV Play disabled in this driver? I don't see the logo that shows it's on and under stereoscopic 3D settings it has the ad telling me to get it...even though I already have it.

How is it disabled for you? Do you have a 3DTV Play license? Do you have a 3D Vision emitter installed?

Andrew, there's a option in Crysis 2 menu for stereo - drivers, but it's greyed out. I assume they put this option cause sometime they might release a patch that will make this option selectable and then we'll be able to use dual camera mode for true S3D. Don't you think so, otherwise there would be no such option in the game's 3D menu.

I see no mention about a profile for Bulletstorm??? I hope it has the same as drivers 267.24 have, otherwise I'll have to go back to 267.24

We do not control the rendering for Crysis 2, its handled by the game developer.

Bulletstorm was already checked into 267.24 and its in 270.51. You can always check our game status page here http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D_Vision_3D_Games.html

We currently do not support that TV. Please send us the EDID and we can add support for it with frame packging mode. Info here on how to do it http://nvidia.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/nvidia.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2774
