3d Vision Surround help 3d vision and hdtvs
My boss is doing a fundraiser for an air show and wants me to build a flight simulator with 3 monitors/HDTVs and 3d vision. I have free rain to most of the product I need but the choice of display isn't clear. The post solution for me is if I could use 3 LG 3d HDTVs (47lw5600 series) as monitors because they are passive 3d and large. The passive 3d would allow for cheap glasses without worry of break. The problem is that I hear it is restricted to 720p/60 for tvs so does that mean it won't work with nvidia 3d surround and 3d vision at the same time? I could get 3 3d monitors but they are smaller and I would have to use nvidias active expensive glasses. Any thoughts or opinions would greatly help.

I don't believe 3DTV play works in surround, so you won't get it to work with TV's.
So your stuck with 3DVision.

If your going to put everything in a dark room, then you will be better of with a projector (or 3 in surround).
But the room has to be as dark as possible...

You could use a white wall,or three cheap projector screens...

Hi

So far everyone has been correct. We do not support 3D Vision Surround on TVs. Do we support it on 3D Vision monitors and projectors.

I have done 3 projectors in the past and it works quite well especially for a racing or flight simulator.

Here's a video demonstrating it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNU6ITOfzV0
