Good question. Putting it all in one package would seem most conducive to luring in the average notebook user who's not accustomed to buying & installing components themselves; but then again, putting it all in one package would surely make the price tag rather daunting by any standard.
Personally, I wouldn't spend on the technology for just a 17" display. I was barely willing to spend on it for 22". But I guess notebook people have their reasons for preferring notebooks over desktops and this will appeal to them.
Yay for expansion of the technology, by whatever means! I really want 3d Vision to catch on. :)
