Also Ansel is officially supporting this game and works great. Both 360 degree screenshots and Mega Resolution.
But that would mean that the Helix Mod? Otherwise it couldn't work with Ansel, could it?
Ye that might have sound a little bit confusing.
My point is that 3D fix still looks great and I don`t think that patch 1.30 will change it, so it`s good.
When it comes to Ansel I know it works in Witcher 3 because I`ve seen it being used by my friends but I don`t use it myself since I didn`t install it (you need Nvidia Experience, right ?).
So I don`t know if it captures screenshots (both ~50K Resolution and 360 degree) in actual 3D.
I can confirm that taking 360 3D shots in Ansel work fine with the Helix mod installed. I took several 360 3D shots and viewed them using my Vive and it's really cool to look around the Witcher world in 3D.
I also took some Ansel normal 3D shots but they look all messed up.

The Ansel shots swap eyes, saved as parallel. Left eye is on left, right eye on right. Normal 3D Vision shots are cross eyed with Left image on right eye, Right image on left.

In case somebody else will have that problem: with Windows 10 anniversary update Wither 3 with latest fix started to crash to desktop at some locations. After many experiments I found that if I delete all *.bin files in ShaderOverride folder and let wrapper generate them anew, crashes are gone.

The game looks great in 3D, one issue i have seen so far is that Geralt has some kind of effect going on around him, half-transparent goo-like effect which surrounds him. It's quite noticeable even if its rather transparent.
Any fix for that?
Edit: on-screen map/UI is very far off into the distance which is a bit distracting + text is also quite messed up.. but i can live with that, its too bad about the effect around Geralt though.

Halo around characters is effect of CM mode if pressing Ctrl-Alt-F11 everything is messed up then the fix is not installed properly.
First find out which mode is mess up.
A simple way to tell if you in CM mode would ctrl-alt-insert. (Green Text on the bottom right hand corner will show the current 3D mode)
Press Ctrl-Alt-F11 to change the mode from 3D Vision to CM mode.
Cm mode looks very good with this game but no where near as nice true 3D.
If regular 3D mode is messed up uninstall the current fix download the latest fix from the Helix blog site and follow all the instructions.
the fix should be installed to bin\x64 directory .
The game is one the best 3D showcases so spent the time to install the fix.

Thanks! I was in CM mode after all. For some reason it now works and no messed up 3D!
Shadow quality works fine in 3D as well... We didn't modify anything related to the sampling level, in any case...
There is a difference between low and ultra. You can see clearly see if it you compare side by side.
With the fix installed, when Ansel is activated, it turns off our fix, as seen by the shadows breaking in 3D, but still takes a correct 3D snapshot.

I was playing the game without the 3D fix (in fact, 3D was disabled) and Ansel was working nicely. I installed the fix, turned on 3D, and now alt-F2 does nothing. Disabled 3D in the control panel again and still Ansel won't kick in.
It looks like bo3b got it going. Anyone have any tips? (Alt-F1 still works to make Experience take a screenshot.)
