Batman Arkham Origins - DX11 features disabled in 3d Mode??

Not sure if that is the DX11 enhancement? Have a look here at the video I recorded: http://3dsolutiongaming.com/2013/10/batman-arkham-origins/.
If you are seeing overlapping shadows, that means that the DX11 Nvidia enhancement is NOT working. The shadows from two different objects are supposed to blend together and form one single density, not become darker in the overlapped areas.
OK, I just checked the geforce page and saw the image with the slider. Oh well, shadows at least render 3D and don't need fixing so I am thankful for that ;-)
Yeah, I AM disappointed though that these new effects can't be seen in 3D. I was looking forward to the soft-shadow thing when I first read about it.

I noticed an annoying thing while doing the Mad Hatter mini-quest. When in the room with the 3 doors the upper images don't appear in 3D mode, when I turn off 3D with CTRL-T they appear, so I can solve the puzzle. This had me stuck for a while as I had no idea how to proceed, had to look it up on youtube.
Is this one of those DirectX 11 features ?

Yeah its a bug, annoying one. I didnt know about it when i played, took me 30 minutes to complete that one room. Did it by luck, just before i got it i was ready to look that up on youtube. Mad hatter laughed everytime i failed, or made some sarcastic comment. That was so annoying -.-
Actually i was fed up more on myself. I thought i was so stupid not being able to crack this puzzle so i held up as long as i could to watch on youtube. Well, i looked it up after i beat it because i still didnt know how. Felt stupid all over again :D

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I still couldn't tell you how I beat it either. I remember spending a good twenty or thirty minutes on it and getting very frustrated... then my wife comes in and solves it in 30 seconds... Figures.

Dont know if you catch the bug part Xeno and guybrush were talking about. Basically above each door is a painting or mirror, i dont remember which one. Then rabbit appears above one door, you have to choose that door. But with 3d vision, the rabbit wont appear on any of the mirrors, soo its impossible to "figure it out". Only way to do it is by luck. Though if you disable 3d vision, rabbits do come on mirrors and its much easier then :D

His wife basically came in. Turned off the 3D vision, and followed the rabbit.
I went to youtube... found out how to do it after trying for about 20 mins, then I tried for another 20 minutes looking for the rabbit with no luck, then I turned off 3d and there it was.

LOL nope. It must've been dumb luck for her... There was no rabbit - and we never turned 3D off. This makes me feel better!

Hi Guys,
I just started Batman arkham origins in 3D and its awesome.
I am having an issue of low GPU usage in the game.
I am using GTX580 in sli and the GPU usage is always in the 50 percentage zone and my fps suffers due to it.I have a 3770k overclocked to 4.7 ghz and 8 gb ram so bottleneck is not an issue i guess.
Can anybody have any pointers for the issue? Anyone else facing the same problem of low GPU usage?
Thanks in advance

You suppose to be good with that what you got. Maybe you restricting yourself by having Vsync "on" or PhysX to "High". Did you try to go on absolute minimum and rise slowly one option at the time - this way you can see which affects you the most. Also check if you got Vsync in Nvidia Menu set to "Adaptive".
I'm having issues with pop-in on the right side of the screen. Max pre-rendered frames to 1 doesn't fix it, any ideas?
Try to change FOV. Will give you greater field of view - to play with convergence. I have even pop out in whole area.
http://as.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/1phlt2/batman_arkham_origins_field_of_view_comparisons/
if you wont be able to change those files the way they did then i`ll post mine - already done.
Thanks for the FOV tip, but I actually like the tight FOV in the batman series - and it doesn't seem to fix the issue, though it may reduce it slightly.
I've been playing around a lot, but with no success. Is this an issue everyone else experiences but just ignores?
Um... yeah, I think it's something just being ignored. Now that I think about it, I do remember experiencing the same thing. It seems the worst on the main menu when transitioning to a new angle, but I also saw it frequently during gameplay - and always on the right side.
