Hi all would really appreciate some help with this.

Ive had 3D vision for a week now and while im enjoying it as it is, its far from perfect and is actually quite annoying in some games.
I noticed on the nvidia test screenshots/demo there was some fantastic popping out effects however in game all i seem to see is depth... nothing actually pops out at you. As i understand it this setting is attributed to convergence which ive enabled in the nvidia control panel, but when i go into some games (been testing in mafia 2, bf3 and metro 2033 mainly) and hold down either ctrl f5 or ctrl f6 and all that seems to happen is the objects within game shake a little bit with no noticeable difference almost like its changing then instantly being reverted to back, anyone have a solution to this?
I'm also seeing what i believe are double images or even ghosting, especially in BF3 when everything is moving rather fast, ive reduced my hz to 100hz which works better but is not totally fixed.

Mafia 2 you are stuck with that convergence. Its forced because developers "half fixed it". Meaning if you adjust convergence past that point its broken.
BF3/Metro 2033 you will need to google those two. I dont remember the ways off the top of my head but I think BF3 can either be done in console/ini. Metro 2033 is definetly ini.
Most games you can either change with an INI [like witcher 2/metro 2033/ etc]

Ways of reducing ghosting is playing with you convergence [depth too but thats something you probably don't want to do]. Contrast as well. If you look at 3dvisionblog it may have recommended setting up on your display. I am not certain.

For BF3 A user wrote a configuration utility that allows you to tweak convergence and fov plus some other things. It looks sweet, but I haven't played the game, so I've no idea how well it works.

Playing about with your contrast and brightness settings can help reduce ghosting. If you use the standard factory default settings they will most likely look terrible. If your screen has any built in presets for different colour schemes try experimenting with them too.
I think convergence works OK in some FPS games but gun models can easily cause problems. The best games for convergence "wow factor" are generally racing, platform and 3rd person games. Dead Space, Tomb Raider, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Trine 2, Batman AC and some of the Sonic titles etc...
Portal 2 is also amazing, but you are pretty much guaranteed to see some ghosting due to the high contrast.
