Hmmm... looks like the screenshots on the blog went missing. I should be able to restore them...
@Bo3b & @Helifax can I make a request - if you update the text on the blog, can you please also update the README.md file in the github repository? I generally treat that as the master documentation and generate the HTML for the blog from it using my md2helix_blogger.py script (except for download links, screenshots and top level headings which I still usually do by hand since that same file also ends up as plain text in any zip file I release and they look a little out of place there).
Edit: I think I've brought the README.md up to parity with the changes on the blog. This time around I decided I would add the screenshot section to it so we don't lose it again.
Will do. That was me updating the page to clean up the layout and make it more clear what are older patch notes, versus the latest version. I also updated the link to the S3 storage for consistency.
For whatever reason, the picture links were still working for me after the edits.
I don't see anything out of date on that page... Well obviously a 3dMigoto fix where the 3d is controlled entirely from the fix archive .ini that comes with the fix is what you would be looking at. They directly quoted lines from it that you would have seen. if you followed the installation instructions.
Xinput 1.3 or 1.4, this is included in the Antimicro gamepad fix from what I remmeber which probably explains the use of the guide button.
I strongly recommend it if you are playing this game on pad.. (this mod uses guide button to save)

Thanks Necropants! Gonna give it a try! For me gamepad is a big plus in this game, specially in 3D. This mod is what I needed to get less UI while playing with everything that it offers.

I know I said someplace else as well,
If you have an XBOX One ELite Controller you might think about REWASD: http://www.rewasd.com/
You can basically map any keyboard key to the controller;) You can also use the official Xbox Accessories tool to configure the controller as well for other things - not related to button mappings:)
That mod though;) looks awesome;)

Ok Guys, I finally got around to collecting the game saves and images for the final issues I am seeing.
This might be a little on the nitpicky side, but the fix is flawless apart from these last remaining issues so might as well see if theres anything that can be done, otherwise I will live with it.
Added Images with corresponding save, rename the sav's back to .sav of course.
1. Incorrect shadow rendering in Iris' painted world. Two saves one for the general zone entry and one for the final boss fight. I am not sure if this is some sort of ambient occlusion issue or something but the area in general has some wierd rendering different from the rest of the game.
2. B&W issues with rivers in broad daylight. Appears to be some sort of water shadow flickering issue. I will understand if this occurs in the 2d rendering as well. If this is the case I'd prefer the shader disabled if possible, because it really is very distracting. This is not the SLI problem as I have tried with it disabled as well. This particular problem can't really be converyed by a screenshot as it only manifests really while you are looking/moving around.
Also once again a Huge thank you to all involved with this fix for a game that has become my all time number one 3dvision title.

I'll give them a look but I think I know what the painted world thing is: Is the "warp" effect that is in place.
While is not a broken rendering it can generate a very interesting effect;) (At least this is what I've remember - need to check the screenshots when I get home:) ).
The water effect. Did you remove Turbo Lighting mod and see if the issue is still present? For me this issue only appears with Turbo Mod;) I tried to see if I can do something about it but I wasn't using the game shaders. I think it can be disabled from Turbo Lighting mod though, but didn't look in-depth to see how;)
Thanks for sharing them. I'll give them a look this evening;)

- Fixes the water glitch that I believe you encountered;) I definitely saw it and fixed something there. Let me know if is the same for you.
Unfortunately for those 2 shadow problems, I can't do anything. Is the warp effect that produces those weird things. Funny enough... it works perfectly fine in Surround for me but not on 1920 or lower ...lol.
Still, very minor annoyances;)

I'm playing 2650x1440p so the warping is still an issue there, but as you say a very minor annoyance and only occurs in one mission just thought I'd provide a save just in case, it got missed or broken somehow
Thanks a lot for looking, anyway.
The water issue was really annoying though maybe it's worse at the res I'm playing at.
will test as soon as I am home from work. =)

Awesome! Big thanks for the feedback guys;) I also tested it with Turbo Lighting and it now seems to work perfectly fine;) I always thought it was that mod that broke it hahaha :))
Related that glitch in the Painted World of "Ariamis/Ariandel" :)) that happens do to the warp effect. I could disable it. Then that zone will look "normal" without any glitch but I think it will break the "artistic touch & feeling" that place has. Strange that I don't get it in Surround:-s Must be due to the bigger FOV or something.
Thank you again!

Personally it's not a big deal to me, and my call would be to leave it to keep the "artistic" vision of that mission. Unless it's possible and you care to go to the trouble of putting a toggle in the .ini but ... meh, it's fine.

Great fix, congratulations again helifax! I can confirm that the strange effect on water was happening also on 2D.
Unfortunately I am getting a green "reflection" on water now. It happens only at night, it happens around any object that gets in the way of any water mass LOS (even if the object is not near the water) and around anything that touches the water.
ps: this with 3D off, can't use 3D without uninstalling my multiseat software so I save it for longer (and alone) playtimes.
Regards

Ahh yes, I tested this by uploading the save I posted by the river and meditated till midnight and I am getting the same problem. (although AmnesiaBR's screen doesn't really show hoe bad it is clearly. it's really pretty bad.... =( So whatever was done to fix the orginal flicker problem seems to have caused this.

Obutto R3volution.
Windows 10 pro 64x (Windows 7 Dual boot)
Unfortunately I am getting a green "reflection" on water now. It happens only at night, it happens around any object that gets in the way of any water mass LOS (even if the object is not near the water) and around anything that touches the water.
ps: this with 3D off, can't use 3D without uninstalling my multiseat software so I save it for longer (and alone) playtimes.
Regards
