So what model you recommend me?
That 's up to you. Projectors need to be purchased based "Entirely" on your needs, budget, location in the world, warranty considerations, etc... I mean I could recommend a bunch of projectors. Only to have you turn around and say that none of them will work, because you need short throw. Or because you want MHL support. Or you need Audio return channel capabilities. Or that the model I suggested is not available in your part of the world. Or.... Or.... Plus you need to factor in mounting/placement considerations that are specific to your localization within your residence. Perhaps you live in an apartment and can't drill holes in the ceiling.

You know that I'm looking something similar like H5360 and that's why I'm in this thread. Only for good 3D gaming 720p and maybe some movie watching. No drilling holes and no ceiling setup. I have seen youtube videos people just but their H5360 on table. Warranty is not problem because most of these 3D 720p projectors are out of warranty and can't buy them new so I must buy used one anyway without warranty.

Yes, unfortunately there is no one perfect projector, it varies by user a lot. In your case, your 2.5m throw is marginal for an H5360, but would probably still be a good experience in 3D. Still, based on what you've said, I'd just buy a used H5360 if you can find one. I have no qualms about the DLP in the ones that are still alive, and replacement DLP chips are still available. I'd go that route, strictly because you already have the 3D Vision glasses and emitter. If you go DLP Glasses route, you need to also buy new glasses, as the 3D Vision glasses do not work for DLP only projectors. I can promise the 3D Vision experience is second to none on an H5360, but I do not know about 3D movies. That will involve some jacking around with 3rd party movie playback software.

I don't have Nvidia 3D glasses only emitter and DLP glasses only costs about 10€ but nvidia glasses 50€+? So I want projector that works DLP glasses and seems like 5360BD is nearest model after 5360 that can do that.

I imagine that these videos that you speak of are using it like a TV. May as well play on a 24 inch monitor from 4 ft away.

Here is that video where this H5360 are on table you can see it @ 0:35 but yeah there we only see playing movie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q42Lq7I7i40

But why 720p? with 1080p projector and SBS TaB mode, image is way better. Yes we have SBS only in 3dMigoto DX11 games, but maybe at some point it will be done for DX9 as well :)

I tried 3D TV and I didn't liked it and returned it and seems like H5360 have well tested projector here and a lot people liked it. Most other 3D projectors we don't know nothing and only H5360 have so large thread here.

For gaming, my projector was at 15ft away from the wall projecting 120 inches, I sat 6 feet away for movies and 6-8 feet for gaming depending on the game. 3.5 meters = 11 1/2 feet (in the above video) you were talking about 2.5 meters for your setup The average person here probably sits about 18 inches from their 24 inch monitor. Now if they held up their hands in front of their face and positioned them to the point where they were on the outside edges of the screen, they could turn and look at a 60 inch TV 10 feet away and their hands would be off to the sides of the TV instead of touching the sides. You want the screen to take up as much of you field of view as practical. EXAMPLE: immersion wise a 24 inch screen taking up 60 percent of your view will give a better stereoscopic gaming experience over a 60 inch screen taking up 40 percent. EDIT: also we have way more W 1070 users here that H5360 users. I personally have a HD6510BD, PLED-W500 and PB60G

I'd say lots of people have Benq w1070 here (or some newer models), including me... I just don't get why you should buy 720p projector when you can have better quality with 1080p. Unless it is much cheaper...

That w1070 costs 700€. But you can buy used H5360 for 200€ and you can make even three way setup with same money. I don't want to spend so much money for thing what i only use for gaming maybe 5-10 hours in week. I never had projector and maybe I don't even like that so much, better try some cheaper first and maybe if I love it so much I buy something better in future. Maybe you can recommend screen for projector? I read about that but some says 1.1-1.2 nits are good some say 2.8 nits are good, but these are so different numbers so very hard to understand what screen I need for 3D gaming?

Most people say for 3d gaming its best to buy high-gain screen - they are designed in a way that they reflect most of light to one point - you. So image is brighter, that is important for 3d because of the dimming effect 3d glasses has. I personally use cheapest 135" white screen with normal gain, and image is bright enough for me in a light controlled room (as I mentioned - I use w1070). Speaking about projector's image quality - one of the most important factors is a room :) Dark ceiling/floor/walls make contrast so much better...
[...] I just bought a dead one from eBay and revived it. Replacing the DMD is not trivial, takes a couple of hours, but it's pretty doable. Got this used one because my main unit has a single stuck pixel, after only 5 years of use dangit! I expected it to go into massive degrade, but still only single pixel.
Interesting, are you able to confirm the model number of the DMD you put in? I still haven't ordered mine, and there appear to be about 5 different compatible models all with a slightly different price. I had a single stuck pixel for more than 6 months, then slowly a few more appeared, from then on it got worse every week. I have no idea whether I have an early model, well possible.

I have no idea whether I have an early model, well possible.
About a month ago my H5360 started exhibiting the same signs indicating that it was suffering from the DMD chip failure (stuck mirrors causing white dots on screen due to bad thermal pad on back of chip). It started off as only one dot, then within a week it had a twin. The next week I noticed a 3rd white dot, and from what I was reading, once it starts failing it just get progressively worse and sure enough this past weekend a fourth dot has shown up. This is even more troublesome in 3D than for 2D users as the dots appear at screen depth and really kill the immersion. Now, the projector only has a 1 year warranty on it and most of us who own this projector have had it quite a bit longer than that, but what Acer doesn't really publicize is that the DMD chip from Texas Instruments is covered under a 5 year warranty. I was able to find an Acer forum where one of the Acer technicians (Acer-Blayn) was aware of the issue and helping people arrange warranty repairs: http://community.acer.com/t5/Projectors-and-TVs/Acer-H5360-projector-DMD-Chip/td-p/313638 I sent him a PM yesterday (btw, Chrome doesn't work for their PM system, use IE/Edge instead) and within 10 min I got a call back, and 20 min later I had everything authorized to be able to send it in and have them repair it. My purchase date was 7/8/11 (even the 5 year limit will be up this summer) and at one point the rep had tried pulling a "it only has a 1 year warranty on it..." but after mentioning the TI warranty covering 5 years for the DMD chp, he quickly returned with the authorization. I need to ship it to them and they say within 7-10 business days I'll get it back. Some of the other users who have gone through this procedure have posted updates that once back from repair it was as good as new if not better, so I'm very optimistic about the whole thing now where this time last week I was ready to pull my hair out with frustration. (the projector only cost me $450 when brand new and when trying to source a replacement DMD chip myself, it looks like it will cost over $400 to get it, let alone the time involved in the painstaking replacement procedure of tearing the whole thing down). Overall I'm very pleasantly surprised at the quality of support from Acer on this matter, this is a huge issue effecting this model projector and has only really started popping up in the last year or so of use for most people (I've already changed my bulb once and have about 450 hrs on the new bulb, went up to 4500 hrs on the old bulb in eco mode). I strongly urge any H5360 owners here who are starting to have DMD related issues to move on this now and arrange to get it replaced ASAP, as I'm sure we all are close to the 5 year limit on the warranty in 2016 and it would suck to have to get a new projector when we all love our little H5360's so much and there aren't really any new 3D vision ready projectors. Anyways, I hope this info helps some of our fellow H5360 brethren here...
