Video mode gets messed up
When I go to http://www.3dvisionlive.com it sets my Windows 7 colors to basic or something. When I leave the site, the video mode is in some messed up state where the screen is a little darker than normal, the mouse cursor is super bright and the whole screen is flickering. I've tried every video setting I can think of to restore it but the only way to get it sane again is to reboot.

Is this a bug or is there something I should be doing different?

Hi gauss256,

This seems to be a system specific issue that we have heard about, but unable to reproduce.

Please let us know which drivers and GPU and 3D display you are using.

Is there anyone else seeing this?

Hey Patrick, I've got an issue which is similar. During and after the use of 3D Vision, no matter with which application, whether the NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player, a game or said website, my whole screen seems to be interlaced, even when I'm back on the desktop in Windows. The Windows 7 Aero function is disabled as well.

These interlacing lines, it's hard to describe. But usually I can get rid of them by applying another desktop resolution and switching back to my native resolution afterwards via the NVIDIA Control Panel.

Using a XFX GTX 285 XX and the Samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ, Windows 7 Professional x64 and 260.99 drivers (but this happened with all previous 3D Vision capable drivers as well).

I'm on an Asus G53JW-3DE notebook, GeForce GTX 460M, driver version 261.14. This is on the laptop display, 1920x1080 @ 120Hz.

Robert, gauss256,

Can you check again with the 266.35 beta drivers that we released today?

Installed the beta drivers. Now when I go to the site I get an error message: "It appears that you may be missing, or have improperly installed, one or more of the required 3D Vision components."

It does seem to try to kick into 3D mode, but none of the videos play in 3D. One piece of good news: when I close the browser window, it reverts back to the original video mode.

I played a 3D movie in the Movie Player, and the drivers do work there.

did you also try updating 3D Vision Driver separately? you may need to re-install the USB Controller driver. You can find this under the “3D Vision” product type → “3D Vision driver for GeForce” product category.

sometimes a clean re-install of the GeForce driver works.

I have the same thing
WinVista X64
280 GTX SLI(turnd off/on same thing)
266.35 BETA drivers..

very annoying!

*EDIT:Just tried turning off S3D in the control panel, and it works fine(no conflict with Aero), seems to be something in turning it on breaks it!

A clean install of the GeForce beta driver did indeed work. All is good now.
