3d Vision newb questions
Hi,
I am getting a tad confused with Nvidia's 3d.

I hope someone can help me out with a bit of Info.
I am planning to buy a Sony VPL-VW90 3D Projector to replace my current VPL-VW50 non-3D, 2 SLI'd GTX560 will hopefully provide decent graphics power.
Now for the questions :

1. The projector is not listed as supported on the 3D Vision site, will that be a problem or will it just work ? The Pioneer receiver between is HDM1.4 and on the support list, so that at least should be fine, correct ?
2. From what I gather I need 3DTVPlay to use the projector for gaming, right ? If so, I read a lot about limitations in 3DTVPlay if you use HDMI1.4, will those affect me and is there a way around (I only found a fix for Samsung TVs) ?
3. Is there a difference to buying 3DTVPlay (which has a limited activations copy protection which is pure and utter BS) or buying a 3D Vision USB Dongle (which has no such stupid copy protection) ?
4. I test played a few games using anaglyph glasses just to see how it looks, among them ME2 which a few people say has problems with volumetric fog and stuff. I saw none of that with anaglyph, so will those problems only show on real 3D ? Till I read that I would have expected real 3D to be far FAR superior in any way to anaglyph.
5. What's that checkerboard 3D I read about in several posts ?

Thanks
