Should I use my video/graphics card's 3D glasses or my 3D HDTV's glasses? Which recommended
When I watch a movie from my desktop comp should I use my video/graphics card's 3D glasses or my 3D TV's glasses? Here's my setup, I have a desktop comp with an after market video/graphics card that has 3D technology, my Blu-Ray drive in the desktop is not a 3D device(I bought it before the 3D TV boom), I'll use a HDMI v.1.4+ 3D capable HDMI cord to connect to my 1080p 3D HDTV. So should I use the 3D glasses that came with my 3D TV or the 3D glasses that came with my 3D video/graphics card? My 3D TV uses passive(not shutter) glasses but I can't find any info as to what my video/graphics card uses(active or passive glasses).

So here are my components:

My understanding is that to use 3D Play to watch movies or play games from your computer hooked up to your HDTV, you need to use the Nvidia glasses. As the Nvidia glasses are active shutter, and your TV is passive, I would be surprised if it worked even using the Nvidia glasses.

You can check if your TV works with 3D Play at the Nvidia site.
