3D Fix Manager - Application for installing 3D Vision Fixes + Hotkey Editing Support

Some users suffer from the emitter intermittently disconnecting and then reconnecting.
During which time, the control panel defaults to Discover/anaglyph.
Most of us do not have this problem, but I'm sure that those that do would name their firstborn after you to show their gratitude, if you could somehow add a solution for this as well.
Just search the forums for .... defaults to discover
You'll see countless threads on the subject.
And if they don't reproduce, I'm sure that they'll at least add you to their Christmas Card list :P
{I would have mentioned this before, but I just thought of it, sorry)

I had this problem in Windows 7, too :D. It always defaulted to 3D Discover. Suddenly the issue disappeared a year ago or so for me. I think it would be pretty easy to fix this. There is a registry key which tells what to use (3D Vision / 3DTV Play or 3D Discover). I'll test this and if it works I'll add an option to 3D Fix Manager which sets the registry key before enabling Stereo 3D or starting a game.

Hi Tim,
I did not change the code for downloading fixes. So it should not crash. Maybe extracting files cause trouble (not all the code is included in a try catch block here yet). Maybe this leads to the crash. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce the error.
Do I understand you correctly? When closing 3D Fix Manager you want to auto disable Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D and set refresh rate to the specified hz setting?
Yes the short popup is caused by setres.exe - don't know how to suppress that. I didn't know Qres yet. I'll give it a try and see how good this one works.

All right. I've integrated this feature yesterday. Before releasing it I'll try to implement the auto update feature for the application itself at last. So updating the application will be user friendly, soon.

Thanks for developing this handy utility. I figured this is the place to report any bugs.
I just installed version 1.12, but it won't launch. So I had to revert to a previous build. This is the first time I've run into this problem, none of the earlier builds ever failed to launch.
I am on windows 10 x64.

I've just released a new version of 3D Fix Manager (Version 1.13). Please try if this one works. If it doesn't work try to download and extract the zip file to another location on your HDD. This will create a new XML file for saving your 3D Fix Manager settings (maybe something broke here). I did only change minor things in v. 1.12 (new option in settings tab, and a bugfix for hotkeys).

Is there a means to scan all fixes with only one button ? in order to find changes[/quote]
You mean the functionality which is already there? ("Send feedback" in settings tab) - But bound to a button in addition? Currently the data is sent when 3D Fix Manager is being closed (if user enabled this option). Would be no problem to add a button when the user wants to share his corrected profiles manually but doesn't want to send the data every time the application closes.
