is there a way to change the colors used for anaglyph from the default red/cyan? i am looking to use a pair of colorcode glasses

i know you could in the older drivers with a registry edit though when i look now i can not find the key to do so and the old reg change files do not work

thanks for any help

hi shiro,

from the "post registry entries here" topic:

============================================================
--- tweaking filter colors (have fun, tweak away):
"LeftAnaglyphFilter"=dword:ffff0000 --- left eye color in four components: ff,red,green,blue
"RightAnaglyphFilter"=dword:ff00ffff --- right eye color in four components: ff,red,green,blue

So for ColorToneâ„¢ glasses try yellow ($ffffff00) for left and blue ($ff0000ff) for right. It wasn't perfect for me but I guess you can tweak either the settings or your monitor's tint/color-temperature to make it better. Also, the glasses that came with the "Journey to the Center of the Earth" movie were green ($ff00ff00) and magenta ($ffff00ff) so you can use those if that's what you have.

I'm guessing the first ff might be alpha. Please post if you know better.
============================================================

These entries go in the main Nvidia Stereo3D branch. I think you know which. Just create the entries if they don't exist but I think they should exist already.

Somehow I don't think it will work for you but let us know your results if you try it. Also tell us your OS and driver.

In the future, don't forget the search function for this forum. In this case you could have searched for "colortone". It works good for games you're curious about too unless they spelled it differently of course.

bye

I have the same issue, I am running vista 64bit, and driver 185.85... I have changed my registry issues, but the driver will only use blue(cyan)/red... also the search for "colortone" only yields this post and another post that doesnt help

thanks for your help iondrive, but it does not seem to work. i have searched here and mtbs forum but not one mention of anyone trying this on the new drives (1.08 cd), just a right up for an old article to play left 4 dead in 3d on older drives with some registry tweaks that no longer work.

if it helps i am on vista 64 and running the latest driver

thanks
