Acer HN274H No 3D in 275.33
I have a gtx 590, running with the Acer HN274H. It was working perfectly with the 270.61 drivers, but doesn't activate into 3d mode with 275.33. Usually a 3D logo will pop up from the monitor's osd, and then the glasses will start working. After a clean install of the updated drivers, the osd does not appear and the glasses' shutters don't do anything. I was wondering if anybody else with the Acer HN274H was having the same problem.

Have you installed the monitor driver (from windows update or from the disk)? Should be versjon 1.00, don't think there are any newer yet. If so, try to rollback that one (to no driver). I had the same problem, but after rolling back the monitor driver, everything worked again.

Did you re-enable 3D after you installed the 275.33 driver?
How to do it >>

Right click desktop
choose Nvidia Control Panel
choose Stereoscopic 3D
choose Set up Stereoscopic 3D
Tick Enable Stereoscopic 3D

Follow the prompts

Good luck. Let me know if it works,

Have you tried to put the Nvidia controller into a different usb slot? (worth a try)

By the way, I find after I install the latest Nividia driver I need to enable and reconfigure the 3D settings but also the installation leads me to reconfigure the glasses (left eye right eye etc) know what i mean? when you reinstalled the driver and ticked 'enable stereoscopic 3d' did you go through the setup process?

Hiya, Another thing to check out -

go to Nvidia Control Panel again (right click desktop)

click "Set up Stereoscopic 3D"

click "Test Stereoscopic 3D"

click "Launch Test Application"

can you see 3D?

Hi,

By the way, where did you get the Acer HN274H? I've been looking to buy one for weeks.

My suggestion was to remove the monitor driver. That's what worked for me.

i had the EXACT same problem, i had 270.61 drivers sand 3D worked perfect. BUT didn't activate into 3d mode with 275.33 drivers.

so after reading on here, i took of the monitor drivers and still nothing... so i uninstalled the 275.33 drivers and went back to 270.61 version, and 3D works perfect now

Strange that it works for some but not for others.

Anyways, I did some more testing, and found that some older games does not work with 3D anymore with 275.33. They did work with 275.25 (beta). Most irritating was Assassin's Creed (the first one, the others works well). The glasses will not activate for that game, even when 3D vision generates the dual views (ctrl+t).

I may actually roll back to the beta drivers, since those worked really well with everything I have tried.
