I've found that during installation i get 'this is meant for an earlier version of your drivers' prompt but its passes and continues. Afterwards all my control panel settings are intact and the two new profiles are nowhere to be found /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

An uninstall of both components sorted that message for me. I still don't see the Alice profile, though the starcraft now is visible. Player tags in BC2 are still displaced though :(

You are wrong MistaP, see the first comment, you must download the 197.41 drivers for the 480. Hopefully my 2 480s will be available Friday too.

Yeah I just figured that out. Someone posted these in the 400 section on the EVGA forums and was promptly told they are pre 400 drivers.
Curious I am as to why the 400s drivers are seemingly being developed in an exclusive manner for the 400s. Yet, people, with modded inf files or whatever, have been able to install and run them on pre 400 series cards.

Nice to see new drivers, but still no profile for Silent Hunter 5 neither Wings of Prey? But they have rushed to make one for Alice in Wonderland... Well, I guess it is logical, they have to rush to create one before the movie gets old (i.e. in 2 weekends and a half  )

nice, hopefully these fix the SLI scaling issue for Avatar. Problem still exists with GTX 480 SLI but its at least playable now (35-40 FPS instead of 19-20 FPS with GTX 280 SLI).
any word if quad sli works any better with these drivers?
Overall mediocre.
In Directx10 games it works pretty good. In Directx 8 & 9 games, you have to alt-tab out of some games and back in to get your GPU's all at 3D clocks (FEAR), you also need to turn off Anti-Aliasing or you'll get MAJOR input lag and horrible fps. In Fallout 3, I get about 24 fps on the outside world (Wasteland) with Quad SLI enabled + 3D vision. Playable, but not like it should be. If I hit CTRL-T to disable 3D, the FPS go way above 60 fps. You shouldn't be taking that kind of performance hit.
