Current games supported by NVIDIA 3D Vision cross-referenced with same screen multi-player games 3D
I built my HTPC for 3 reasons:
-3D Movies (DVD/Blu Ray)
-3D Television
-3D Games
My 3D Movie experience has been mixed. The 1080p 3D videos you can download (http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D_Vision_3D_Movies.html) are incredible to view, but movies aren't just for viewing, and mainstream content is virtually non-existent. You can find what little is available here:
http://www.3dmovielist.com/list.html
My 3D Television experience has been limited The Masters Golf Tournament was the first televised event to be broadcast in 3D on Comcast and I used my ATI Digital CableCard Tuner to capture it through Windows 7 64 bit Media Center. Unfortunately there is no program currently available that allows you to watch live television in 3D so I had to settle with recording it and then playing it back through the 3DTV's Stereoscopic Player (http://www.3dtv.at/Products/Player/Index_en.aspx).
It's fun to watch 3D Movies and Television with my wife, but I find it more fun to show off the NVIDIA 3D Vision technology to my friends. I'd imagined the best way to do this was by showcasing the long list of games supported by NVIDIA 3D Vision, and demonstrating how my 3D HTPC blows away their Xbox 360/PS3 2D console gaming experience.
The problem with this logic is while it's entertaining to watch the incredible graphics and action of Batman: Arkham Asylum, and cool to watch me get pwned in Battlefield: Bad Company 2, one person has to sit and watch as the other plays. In my opinion, this limits the enjoyment of the 3D experience. For this reason, I'm currently buying up every game that offers same screen multi-player functionality. This might sound like an expensive endeavor, but the list as you will see is very short, and through the magic of Ebay, most games cost less than $10.
I used the following sites to compile a list of same screen multi-player games:
http://www.mobygames.com/attribute/sheet/a...buteId,156/p,3/

http://www.co-optimus.com/system/4/pc.html
I then cross-referenced the list with NVIDIA 3D Vision supported games:

1x Proficient Audio 100 watt center speaker
1x Proficient Audio 100 watt sub

Is the same screen multiplayer game list for Pc or is it for cross platform games? Because I never found that option for left4dead and I know that the option for UnrealTournament 3 is hidden and partially broken. These features are usually for consoles only and removed from the PC versions.

when i read this topic, I thought of something cool, you could use the same active shutter technology as 3dvision to display different images to two separate glasses/visors for 2 players on one screen

This list is for PC. By cross platform do you mean PC/Mac/Linux? Left 4 Dead isn't out for Mac yet to my knowledge, and you can only play it on Linux with the use of Wine.
Below is the link to instructions on how to enable split screen:

That would be one way to prevent screen cheating that typically happens in a split screen FPS battle.
