Zalman Trimon 3D movies how to get it to work?
Hey,

I've recently started to use my Zalman Trimon to watch 3D bluerays. Or well, I want to, but I cant get them to work. The screen just gives two movies side by side, but it doesn't combine them to a 3D movie. I use Power DVD 10, but that doesnt work either.

In Power DVD you have to select Micro-Polarizer-LCD:

But only the M220W seems to be supported. It's unclear if the others work too. Look here:CyberLink 3D-Zone

I just got one of the new 24" Zalman Monitors in to compare with my Viewsonic 120hz. It works just fine playing Monsters vs Aliens with PowerDVD. It also works with all three major 3D drivers (Nvidia, IZ3d, Tridef).

What source file do I need, I currently use the Half Side-by-side format. Could that be the problem?

I checked the settings, they where set right.

Are you sure that you have a 3D Blu Ray?

I thought 3D-BluRay has two separate video-streams for left and right eye.

I don't believe PowerDVD 10 supports 3D video files other than Blu-Ray 3D discs. If you have other formats (like side-by-side) you should be using another player, like the Stereoscopic Player which should come with the Zalman. Also, ArcSoft TotalMedia Theater supports side-by-side videos in addition to Blu-Ray 3D.

I did did get the Alice in Wonderland 3D Blueray, but it the vertical difference is to big, my Zalman Trimon 220W has horizontal interlaced, opposed to the vertical that most bluerays have. Is there a way to fix that?
