Add a check box to turn off the understandably default setting of locking monitor controls in 3d mode so brightness and contrast can be adjusted by the user or add user adjustments for 3d mode.
I suspect pulling back the contrast and or brightness would greatly reduce the small amount of ghosting, but i cant test his because it's locked, may games I have turn the gamma to almost 0 indicating these settings are higher than they need to be.

Lasersight is set to 100% transparency all the time. I cant change it. If I move it e.g. to 50%, save it and then open options again - its back to 100% transparent.

I'm unable to install this properly? Every time I install this it won't even let me turn my 3D mode on my DLP 3D ready TV on. Also my Mouse Cursor will be really laggy. I've tried twice to install this new driver update. It would be the 3rd drive up date I would have installed. So I'm really not sure why it doesn't work. :magic:

Jane's World War 2 Fighter, Ennemy Engaged: Commanche Hokum perfect in normal 3D graphics but not working in S3D:
Both of these games are old and that probably the reason. However, they both run fine with my Dell 24" LCD only when switching the display to the Sammy DLP that they both stopped running with an Windows error message, exe stopped working etc...making me think there must be a system file missing or a switch must be set somewhere in the profile/registry/ini.
Hopefully team Nvidia could spend a little time to identify what is needed to get old games like these running in 3DVision + DLP mode.

Generic DLP(Plasma) support seens to be broken. The 3D Setup Wizard lets me not choose this option though the Plasma TV is connected. I can later select Generic DLP in the 3D settings (beside generic CRT and anaglyph) and the shutter starts to work, but the driver then does not generate the checkerboard pattern, so no 3D.
My Samsung Plasma PS50A476P works fine with the 1.07 driver CD version in 1360x768 and 1024x768 resolutions though. So I downgraded to this version.

If you haven't tried this yet give it a shot. Select "Do not resize desktop" instead. I ran into this problem with 1920x1080 resolution and it refused to go checkerboard until that option is selected (and in effect deselecting the "resize desktop" which is default, I think.)

Stereoscopic 3D Viewer (for 3D still images) still does not work! (Images are unstable and glasses flicker out of synch.)

UPDATE: If I selected Anaglyphic mode, the games started and worked fine with the Sammy DLP. However, fullblown DLP mode still caused the exe to crash. Seems the DLP mode has some code that dislike these two older games.
Devs, please spend a few minutes to find out what's wrong/missing with the DLP mode code and these two games, I suspect it's very simple and won't take you guys more than 5 minutes not including installing the games. Many thanks in advance! /wave.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I think I have the same tv as you and I have the overscan issue too. 3D doesnt work when you resize the desktop but there is hotfix for it on Nvidia's Q&A site. They have a registry file you can download that lets you resize on the Samsung and still get 3D. It changes the effective resolution to some weird setting like 1834x945 but it works. Ill try that Anaglyphic thing u mentioned and see if I can get it to work.

There is no hotfix for the Samsung DLP A750 according to the knowledge base.

In Team Fortress 2 (admittedly not the best game to run in Stereoscopic 3D, due to the large amount of blues and reds), using my anaglyph red/blue glasses, the entire thing is messed up... When I enable 3D in-game, everything appears white except for my own player model, everyone's weapons, some vegetation in maps, and in-game menus. Everything else is bright white, with flashes of red squares when I look at certain things in the map. What could be causing this? I am using the 1.08 drivers with 185.85 graphics drivers, btw.
EDIT: Seems to be working once I went to the 186 drivers.

Does anyone know if there any way to edit the registry to make a game work in S3d instead of renaming the executable? I have been waiting for a month now for nvidia to make a simple fix to their apparant profile error for battlestations pacific ( a game they advertise works ! ) and i am tired of waiting to play a game i paid $50 bucks for.
The rename trick wont work on games running on windows live or most Steam games since the executable name is needed by those systems to run their overhead stuff. The result is we are at Nvidia's mercy to let us play any such game.
I am running Windows Vista and I searched the registry for possible entries with no luck. i saw a thread indicating it could be done on XP but that doesnt seem to work for Vista.
It would be nice if Nvidia gave us a simple way to associate a game executable with an existing and working profile so we dont have to go through this renaming sham. That is especially so if they are not going to update the driver profiles more frequently.

I honestly wouldnt bother trying because the game has so many 2d elements it makes your eyes hurt! i found a program called 'bsp ripper' which could make removing/reducing these possible, but it will be considerable time before i hope to get anywhere with it.

Actually I thought the s3d in the demo version of Battlestation : Pacific wasnt too bad. That did work because you are able to rename the exe file. Anyway I cant play in 2d any more.. even with a few drawbacks.....spoiled I guess... I still want the full version to work !! come on Nvidia where is that fix!!

I suspect pulling back the contrast and or brightness would greatly reduce the small amount of ghosting, but i cant test his because it's locked, may games I have turn the gamma to almost 0 indicating these settings are higher than they need to be.
