I have two problem that I just can't figure out, no matter how hard I google....
In general, I can't change the convergence in any game. I reinstalled all drivers several times, and even after the very first install, on a fresh windows 7 installation it never worked.
The second thing is, when I play Bioshock 2, I can't turn on 3D at all. If I then check the 3D option in the graphics menu and restart, I can almost turn it on, but all that happens is that the whole image is shifted from the right to the left for half a second, and the green info about the game flashes in that time. But it stays 2D.
I have no clue how to solve that problem.
my setup:
Gainward GTX 275 Golden Sample (Newest drivers)
Zalman Monitor 22"
Hi. Did you enable the keyboard shortcuts for convergence in the Nvidia control panel ?
I'm assuming you did, so skipping over that.. do any other games besides Bioshock 2 work in 3d ?
Which drivers are you using ?
Yes, I enabled it. Other games do work in 3D with that convergence problem of course, but BS2 is the only one that has that weird error. When I press Ctrl+T it flashes to the second image that would be rendered if it was 3D, almost as if the driver would try to use the 120Hz + shutter glasses 3D technique on my interlaced polarized monitor.
Currently I use
196.21_desktop_win7_winvista_32bit_international_whql
and
NVIDIA_3D_Vision_v196.21_driver
