I have the problem in every single game even when looking at screen shots. Basically whenever stereoscopic 3d is engaged the problem is apparent.

I can't believe I bought this 3D kit that is stated to work properly...and damn it won't work.
How come other users don't report ghosting? Or how can they play it like that?
This is madness.
I think we should create a poll on the forum, maybe nVIDIA will raise an eyebrow and search faster for a solution.

I have created a poll in the thread. Don't miss to vote it may be our chance to make it work

You can replace all you want but everybody experiences top of the screen ghosting. I've got 2 samsung 3d vision kit screens here and they both have the problem. I guess we have to live with it. Especially since NVidia is pretty much ignoring the ghosting issues that are caused by the hardware itself.

Hey, where did the poll go?

In the other thred you've said you had 2 kits.
By 2 kits you mean monitor+glasses or you had 2 pair of glasses or 2 monitors?

The poll is on the first page of the 3D vision thread

I doubt everybody experiences the top of screen ghosting desribed in this thread, otherwise we'd have many more users posting in it. This top of screen ghosting (double image) happens whenever 3d vision is engaged be it screen shots, test loops, videos or games - you name it.

I can live with the occasional ghosting which occurs in specific games or specific on screen effects (eg bright white objects causing black ghosts beside them).

HI all, just registered on the forum, i want to say that i have severe ghosting on the top of the screen aswell..
tryed with everything from movies to photos to games
this is horrible to be honest... i am currently NOT using the glasses, i hope they can fix it with newer drivers else i will sell it on ebay :)

i have a samsung 2233RZ

i have experienced also some ghosting in particular situations like high contrast shapes, i get a sort of "negative" effect.

I am not talking about some games that renders eg. shadows incorrectly... i get those negative even playing the demo movies at nvidia website using their movie player.

as everyone here has said.. i can live with the occasional "negative" effect, while we CANNOT LIVE with that horrible ghosting on the upper side of the screen, it look like glasses are NOT working there... i hope NVIDIA didn't know about it when they released the glasses at the beginning, else their reputation will go down imho.

I would like to hear a couple of words from an Nvidia developer, as everyone in this thread i guess...
cheers

Hi FRIENDS! I have the same problem as you.

Today I just get the second monitor as you thought the problem was on the monitor and asked to trade him, but no.

It happens, like you, that 20% of top screen has a ghost out of the ordinary.

At a forum in my country (Spain) tell me they do not happen, come across the screen perfectly.

My question is:

I have another defective screen? Or the problem is in the receiver / goggles as you say?

I make the guarantee to give me glasses / new receiver?

Thank you and sorry for my English (my friend google ...)

I sent my glasses to warranty...still waiting... 10 days left until they give me a solution ...
Maybe this is what I'm seeing. I noticed yesterday independently that in the left eye/right eye test in the setup wizard, the top row of shapes shows severe ghosting, but the bottom two rows don't. Do you see something similar?
yes exactly the same for me, the upper line has ghosting while the others two not.

I've noticed that with 100Hz it looks a bit better, but not enough.

give us a fine tuning please

But the problem is hardware or software? It happens to everyone? Because if one happens to some, it's hardware.

Thanks!

Oh ok, well I'm going to exhaust all testing beforehand.

I bought my brother one of these kits, I might try his receiver, his glasses and his monitor, in different combinations for testing...
