Hi All.
I first would like to say that it's such a pleasure to find such a helpful community as this. I can't believe how civil and friendly everyone is and it's very refreshing.
I've had my 3D Vision 2 setup for a couple months now, have used a lot of the helix mods, tried the AC3/4 mods and I have to say, I am so grateful to you all for you hard work and efforts. I check this forum before I go to work and right after I get home. So much information to be found beyond the "tiny" support Nvidia has for their own product. (I'm not try to start an anti-Nvidia thing just so you know).
Anyways, I look forward to seeing and learning new things that will enhance my 3D gaming and maybe learn a thing or two and possibly help another newbie one day.
So thanks again for all your efforts and I for one TOTALLY appreciate it. :)

Yes, this is the most civilised forum I think I've ever been on. Certainly gaming-wise, anyway. Very refreshing to be around so many good natured people.
Welcome to the club :-)

It is a rare thing. The Steam forums....LOL. This is my preferred forum considering everyone here are 3D enthusiasts and just generally nice people da boot, what more can one want.
Anyway, as Volnaiskra said, welcome to the club!

Welcome to the pack! ... you haven't mentioned the 'C' word so just in case ... if you haven't enabled 'convergence' yet, go do it now! >>> http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2943/ <<< If you don't know what it is/what it does, just ask we'll let you know ... and if you do, well you know how important it is! :)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Yes! I have enabled convergence and remapped all my keys to my number pad. But I guess as far as convergence. Other than making sure, for example in Skyrim, that my sword doesn't split, what am I looking for?

That depends a bit on taste, game genre, and how it reacts in the game itself(probably a few other things as well) ... I usually set FPP games by walking up to a wall and, with the glasses off, align the texture on the wall so the 2 views are overlapped. In TPP games I start by aligning the two views on the character I'm playing, in TPP games where the camera moves closer/further from the character I'd move it closer to the character and then align ... again personal taste. On my setup I usually can't handle too much 'pop out' maybe about 1/2 of my depth(IPD) or so ... the 'limits' can be pushed if you're not going to focus on them too much. For instance, unless your eyes can actually diverge, you can't really focus on anything at 'infinity' if you set your depth higher than your IPD but if you're never going to bother focusing on the horizon you could go a little higher to enhance what you're actually going to be looking at.
edit:I forgot side-scrollers, like Teslagrad, Trine, Limbo, Rayman Origins/Legends, Child of Light, etc. I'd align the character so anything in front of pops out and anything behind is depth.
