I want things flying out of my screen :)

Im making a new mass effect2 ini file today ( no lens flare, no HUD, very coolâ„¢) hopefully won't break the game and I can start playing again! Stay tuned.

Yeah l4d its the only thing were it went ok so far- why is the driver not showing the convergence on screen like with depth.
With fallout 3 i experienced that if i put convergence to high the picture doubles.

Still no comparision to nvida test pic. Do you know of a good demo- test picture to simultat that effect.

The thing flying just in front of your eyes is so awesome.

I think that Nvidia never had a "convergence inidicator" simply for the fact that it can be infinitely adjusted... to the point of craziness. A good rule of thumb as far as adjusting is to take off the glasses and hold down the keyboard shortcut for increasing convergence until the closest thing to you ( gun fps games, charater 3rd person games...) is at screen depth, or juuust slightly beyond. And yes, if put too high your eyes will not be able to focus and you'll end up crosseyed. Just keep experimenting and eventually you'll find the balance that is right for you. Remember most games just don't have "things" that fly at you.

Hey, if you want just cool graphics to show off to people, download nvidia's geoforms demo/screensaver. Using just a slight bit of convergence enhancement makes the blobs really pop off the screen. First time I ran it I wanted to stick my hand in the goo. LOL

We've got a whole topic full of screenies!

Sure would be nice to have a topic stickied that explains exactly what depth and convergience are. I'm still not perfectly certain. I would expect one to represent the distance between your eyes and the other the distance to the screen.

Dammit nV, you really need to start teaching new users about convergence in big BOLD LETTERS!!! Convergence is what makes 3d stereo gaming ultra impressive and not just a nifty effect.
