Disabling 3D vision from activating on game launch.
There used to be an option in the control panel to have 3D enabled but not activate on it's own when you launch a game. I want to keep my 3D enabled but I want to choose when it is activate or not. Anyone help?

Personally i have the 'Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D Service' set to start manually only and i set it on/off with task manager when i require some 3d gaming.

I dont understand why setting "Hide 3D Vision when game starts" was removed. Majority of games lack stereosopic support and even some games advertised "full 3D support" wont work perfectly. So please bring that option back. Its very useful and probably widely used.

I remember trying 3D stereo on Splinter Cell Conviction and when 3D activated the game was so slow ! 30 sec for the 3d to deactive when I did ctrl+t !!! So if it active itself with a game that is not campatible with 3d stereo, hummm well you get the time to make your self a cofie to get inside the menu.

I've just always used the 3D Vision Toggler app to have it turned off usually, and turn it on when I want it. http://3dvision-blog.com/4673-3d-vision-toggler-for-easier-enabling-and-disabling-of-3d-vision/

That Toggler app seems to be pretty amazing, and upon testing it by turning it off and starting Left 4 Dead 2, it worked. I tried turning it to ON with the game ON and it didn't work, so I closed the game and restarted it, making sure the toggler was ON, and my computer crashed. Do you have any experience on matters like this? How do you turn 3d on when you want it?
