Bayonetta on Steam
Just a suggestion but you can use the texture for the film effect to either. Fix it or attach a seperate depth/convergence setting using presindex.
Texture filtering will be impossible (I think). All textures (except for two or three) have an FFFFFFFF CRC when I'm cycling through them. A separation hotkey will be the best approach. That CRC problem will also be what will make fixing another specific shader that causes some haloing impossible.

@masterotaku Oh, might not be anything to do about that but... FFFFFFFF problem can sometimes be fixed by adding into dx9settings CalcTexCRCatUpdate = true bCalcTexCRCatStart = true

The fix is up on the blog. I've added some extra fixes and features (the HUD depth shaders are improved and now also include the blur effect). The most important one is the lighting on characters when they are in cutscenes. They were too bright in 3D, to the point of color clipping. @eqzitara: thanks. That worked to see different texture CRCs. I tried to use that for the sun texture (to put it at depth), but the shader was doing some strange things that I couldn't diminish enough. For the film cutscenes, I just made a separation toggle.
I don't have a Paypal account yet. For now, I have never accepted donations, but I may change my mind, because I would use the money exclusively to buy more games that I'm pretty sure I can fix (Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Blazblue Central Fiction came to my mind first). I'll have to think about it.

Does GeDoSaTo work with Bayonetta for you guys n girls? Because for me it creates weird graphical errors that are obvious right from the menu, like white garbage on the screen

Ehhhh... it was really broken the last time I tried it, but I heard it's perfect with Tridef (is that what you use?), which I can't use.

Most games I tried worked fine with helixmod + gedosato, but bayonetta crashes with this combination, end even without helixmod, gedosato creates graphical glitches. It's a shame, for what I've seen the game isn't that bad in 3d without a fix. I could get away with playing without helixmod, but I can't play without gedosato since I have a 4k passive tv, and rendering at 4k stereo is too much for this gtx 980.

Even 1440p in 3D is sometimes too much for my GTX 1080 (some torture attacks are very GPU demanding), so I understand. Definitely the most broken and annoying effect is the one I couldn't fix: sea water (also the same shader for other unfixed stuff). It's so weird that even the Y axis of the effect changes with separation and convergence!

Bayonetta was on sale recently, so I bought it, and it's great ! Thank you for the fix ! My computer updated Windows 10 to the latest update and something weird happened when I tried this game again. When using Fullscreen mode, the game now forces a 60Hz refresh rate, no matter what desktop settings are applied, even with 3D Vision active (which usually overrides the refresh rate). It's unwatchable. Strangely, the game now runs in 3D in border-less window mode at 120Hz (which previously did not work). The game plays also much more smoothly thanks to triple buffering in borderless window mode.
