So I have the original 3d vision kit. I have a GeForce GTX550 Ti. I tried running Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 in 3d, but even though the rating said excellent it was awful. It was almost like I wasn't wearing the glasses. I had two separate images. I know my glasses were on though because they got darker when I started the game. So I figured it was just a mistake and the game actually didn't work all the great. Then I went to fire up Left 4 Dead 2 and found that when I'm running the game in full screen mode, it does the same thing (two images as if I weren't wearing the glasses). However, if I switch Left 4 Dead 2 back to windowed without a border it looks amazing as it should. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here. I tried running the setup wizard again, but it didn't fix anything. Any ideas?

I don't see that option. I looked under the 3d section of the nvidia control panel and I couldn't see any options about when 3d mode is enabled other than "Hide stereoscopic 3d effects when game starts." I tried changing that setting, but it didn't work.

the only time I get double images in 3D is when the convergence is set WAY too high, or if the battery goes flat in my glasses. This may sound like a stupid question but have you tried to lower the convergence to see if it makes any difference?

I have the ASUS VG278H which has a built-in emitter. The emitter DOES NOT activate in full screen games, only in windowed mode. The glasses work fine, and the emitter works fine (when the driver turns it on). When I launch full screen 3D games, monitor swtiches in to 120Hz mode and the double images show up, but [b]the emitter stays off and is not telling the glasses to start flickering[/b].
I have clean installed the drivers and all that. It fixes the problem for about 2 hours then it starts back up again after I quit a full screen 3D Game. Clearly it is a driver problem.
MY WORK AROUND: Launch the 3D Vision Photo Viewer and load up one of the sample pics (or any low memory foot-print 3d windowed app) to get the emitter to turn on. THEN launch your 3D games. It works fine.
Yes, it is a pain in the butt, but it works. You have to keep the windowed 3D application on in the background to keep the emitter on.
