Batman: Arkham Knight - 3D Fix Available!

Is there anyway to get this to work with ReShade? I'm using it for SMAA and Lumasharpen as the in-game FXAA overly blurs the image but the game wouldn't start until I removed it. The game looks truly amazing in 3D, but there are a few bugs, one notable one in GCPD where the 3D on the In-Mate Population board is broken but other than that it's really good.

Thanks for completing this fix DHR, it's really awesome to see it all come together :-) A lot of work - well done! The only thing I find distracting is the lens-flare (and I think bloom). Could you provide a toggle to turn off lens flare and possibly bloom, I could not see a setting in-game (maybe one in some ini file)? As others have said, performance is great in the game nowadays (I have a 1080Ti). I do have to turn off Nvidia's Realistic Smoke setting, because that still knocks about 20FPS off when it's active, which is a shame because it looks nice. I love the F1 function btw, super useful - 3DMigoto has come a long way!

As others have said, performance is great in the game nowadays (I have a 1080Ti). I do have to turn off Nvidia's Realistic Smoke setting, because that still knocks about 20FPS off when it's active, which is a shame because it looks nice.

I love the F1 function btw, super useful - 3DMigoto has come a long way!

I'm so glad I have a fast single card system and am not trying to run the game at that resolution with a single 1070 (SLI) or less. I think a 1080 might be able to pull it off, with some occasional dips down to 50 FPS but a 1070 which is maybe 55% as fast as 1080 Ti has to be at 100% utilization everywhere with frequent dips down to 40 FPS.

The lens flare is distracting.

The performance is truly amazing, I can't believe I'm getting 60 FPS everywhere with load between 60-80% @ 2560x1440. I'm so glad I have a fast single card system and am not trying to run the game at that resolution with a single 1070 (SLI) or less. I think a 1080 might be able to pull it off, with some occasional dips down to 50 FPS but a 1070 which is maybe 55% as fast as 1080 Ti has to be at 100% utilization everywhere with frequent dips down to 40 FPS.

I found I get stutters If I have SLI on, and it is of course well documented as not being supported in this game. But if I switch it off and dedicate the 2nd card to Physx the performance is flawless at max detail. 1440p. and yes the lens flare and on screen camera effects are the one thing keeping this back. I assume theres a reason they can't be shader disabled. SO if anyone finds a way to turn them off I would be appreciative as well. Also thanks a lot for your work on this also Mike

If someone don't like lensflares-bloom, edit this file: 653a63b2188160da-vs_replace.txt And add to the end, just before the " return; " line, this: [code]o6 = 0;[/code] I can add the preset to enable or disable later. I remember that shader also controls others effects that was working fine, that's why i probably left enabled. Probably if you increase or decrease to much convergence (from the default of the fix) or play with something different than 100% depth, those effects will be off.

We cannot believe someone finally got this game working in 3D, it looks amazing and the performance is surprisingly decent considering how problematic the port was to begin with! If you got $10 donation from vincent.t@gmail.com that's me! I encourage everyone enjoying this fix to also donate, we need to support work like this! I also left you a note asking about Reshade compatibility, I was using it because it's SMAA it's vastly superior to the in-game FXAA and it doesn't carry a heavy performance penalty, unlike 4x and even 2x AA in Nvidia Control Panel > Program Settings. I have looked in Nvidia Inspector but all of the AA options are MSAA. Just update the fix with the ON/OFF toggle for Lensflares/Bloom. Default off. @xXxStarManxXx Thanks! If the "proxy_d3d11=*add reshade dll here*" don't work (located in the d3dx.ini), is probably because this game + 3Dmigoto is not compatilble with reshade....try to use tha proxy call with reshade.

Actually, Reshade is using dxgi.dll, not d3d11.dll, and inputting that there at "proxy_d3d11=dxgi.dll" in d3dx.ini doesn't resolve the issue. I have tried it yesterday for half an hour. Great job! I have seen some (not too important) broken lighting in the rain (maybe) and some wet floor. Maybe it's expected, but I'll take a look with hunting to see if they are covered by regex. I don't get stable 60fps at 1440p. I'll either wait for a new GPU or play at 100Hz. After finishing a lot of other games in any case.

The fix is fantastic, unfortunately, I realized that some of the hitching from when Batman: AK fist launched and was not as optimized as it is now when I was using a slower CPU (4930k @ 4.5 GHz) is back something fierce, particularly and maybe mostly exclusively whilst flying (at 70% GPU utilization, I believe this is the dreaded 3 Core bug rearing it's ugly head). I was doing the League of Assassins mission last night around Central Station and was doing dive bombs and flying in that area and my FPS was dipping down to 40-45 FPS with a good deal of hitching. It felt horrible. If I land and walk around it's gone, but yeah flying in this game is really like one of it's best aspects IMHO. So I reverted to 2D @ 90 FPS 3440x1440 on the AW3418DW and wow, it's so much smoother, and it still dips but not down to 40 FPS, now it dips down to 70 FPS here. That I can turn on smaa + lumasharpen and use enhanced light shafts and have noticeably better colors and contrast on the AW3418DW, not to mention that it's curved 21:9, man, it pains me to say this but I am torn between playing it in 2D or 3D on the PG278Q. I just finished to Panessa Studios confrontation with Harley in 3D and it was really really good. But the flying, because off the 3 Core bug, is really off-putting with the FPS drops. Fighting and interior stuff is awesome in 2D but I would have to say flying and even driving the Batmobile is better on my AW3418DW because of the wider aspect ratio and 90 FPS G-Sync and mitigation of 3 Core bug. I will probably keep playing it on the AW3418DW as I have just finished downloading Forza Horizon 4 demo and may pick up Assasssins Creed Origins and still have to beat Mafia 3. Too many 2D only games to go back and forth between monitors at the moment. I suppose a consolation prize for me is that I may pick up a pair of monitor arms now that RTX is truly turning out to be a flop. Leaked RTX 2080 Timespy puts it right around a 1080 Ti meaning that the leaked 2080 Ti TimeSpy bench is probably also legit and that shows the 2080 Ti only 19% faster than 1080 Ti. I'm not paying $999 for 19%, no way in hell. I suppose I'm sitting tight for 7nm. Depending on how bad Turing performs, that may be sooner rather than later.
