It looks like this Curved Monitor might feature 3D Vision. Even if they not saying anything all details look like they are made for it. Standard 144Hz Refresh Rate and 200Hz boosted. Display Port is there as well so no HDMI only.

cool.
Not sure that picture is showing 3D at all. Most likely just the camera capturing it weird.
It would be freaking awesome if it was 3D! You should twitter Acer and find out about the 3D on these upcoming models.
That's got potential at least for an EDID override. I'd be really surprised if they did an actual 3D Vision certification at this point, but maybe.
The 1st picture doesn't look like 3D to me, because in the top right of the image the duplicate images are separated vertically, which never happens. So that's probably an in-game camera shake effect while driving.
The 2nd one is less clear, it's a stable image, and it definitely looks like a 3D image there. The mini-map is screen depth, and not duplicated, right in an area where trees are duplicated. That's very much like 3D. The gap gets wider the deeper into the scene (maybe, not super clear). That's like 3D too. No way to know for sure without knowing details on the camera, but it's possible that's 3D. More likely to be a sideways pan with a slow shutter speed, but maybe.

If this monitor ends up being compatible with 3D Vision, there's a high chance that I'll buy it, even if I don't like the low resolution.
However, there is a feature of my BenQ XL2411Z that I don't want to give up: Blur Reduction at any refresh rate. For example, I play the new Wolfenstein games at 60Hz with strobing (sorry, but the 3D fix makes me play worse, and it's 30fps with consecutive frames), and also 2D emulators (everything except Dolphin and PPSSPP) because black frame insertion at 120Hz looks worse. It's pure freedom.
I'd be happy if they made ULMB work at any refresh rate, or at least added 60Hz to their limited list (I'd like 200Hz too :p).

Pretty sexy specs. It's definitely a "gaming" monitor though. Wow. It's something all right. I particularly liked about how excited they were about that light that shoots out the bottom of it. As if the rest of it wasn't awesome enough.
farcry 4 does not have 3d vision support, i highly doubt they were using the fix at this presentation
Far cry 4 uses compatibility mode as standard so it does have a bit of support!

I know game developers that using them so why not. I agree with T_L_T thou, this must be CM because min-map is 2D and the fix is showing map in 3D (at least there is double view when you look without glasses).
Ignore first picture - as go3b noticed, it is definitely in-game shake effect.

i'm not the one to break hopes, but ignoring the facts wont make it 3d vision compatible. There is a plenty of similar models, and none of them is 3d vision compatible

Yeah, I think there is no chance it will be 3D Vision certified, and I agree with T_L_T that since it's FC4 it's very likely to just be in-game effects with a slow camera (indoor shot, no flash).
The only way this will work in 3D is with an EDID override, but that still seems possible and would be pretty killer.

Anyone know? Is it theoretically possible to get 3D Vision to run on an ultrawide 2560x1080 screen with EDID override?
(Bumping because the Z35 is available now, and would be amazing if it could run 3D Vision)
