Favorite Retro Game Which game do you spend most your time in.
Just wondering which retro game do you guys spend your time in. I have been playing a hell of a lot of Quake 3. Those gothic macbre levels are just amazing to play in now with 3d Vision.CPMA and the Threewave CTP are just amazing in 3d.

Mine would be kotor =*( but unfortunately Nvidia lied!!! Most retro games that I played and enjoyed are opengl unfortunately. I wanted to play chronicles of riddick but that was opengl, same with jade empire.

I'm playing Half life 2 also with the cinematic mod, but the water levels are giving me headaches so I don't play it much, a pity since the game looks incredible with the mod.

I don't know where to begin, it adds very high resolution textures, more atmospheric effects, new music, models, etc it's so much better game with the CM. However it requires a 64bit version of windows since it uses so much memory and you need a powerful computer just to run it, even more in 3d, but with everything working it's amazing. Also it takes about 12-15gb of space, have a look at it at http://cinematicmod.com/

DOOM! with doomsday engine in 3d! I still love doom. Also recently started playing through Unreal 1 again in 3d. And started playing Duke3d with HRP in prep for DNF, however it doesn't run in 3d due to the new engine being opengl. But still Duke goodness! :)

I believe you should be able to play Duke3D with 3D Vision using eDuke32. Last time I checked, I was playing that with 3D Vision.

I don't get a directx renderer option in the game. Only opengl and software. I'm running latest version of eduke32, polymer, and latest HRP pack. If you really got it workin in 3d I'd really love to know how! /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

My memory escapes me, but I know for sure it was 3D Vision and not my old school stereo pc, and if I remember right I was using GLDirect. Give that a shot.

Aquanox is cool too. Water surface is rendered at wrong depth but the rest is fine. The HUD is really cool: you can see different layers on various depths.
