3D Vision Setup Wizard not detecting built in IR emitter
Ok so I recently updated my drivers to 332.21, not that this is exactly a new issue because it has been happening since October with the drivers released then, but before the emitter would at least be detected now it is just giving me the list of options to choose from the usb emitter, usb glasses, etc. Obviously none of these are the options I want so I am unable to progress any further into the setup, I'm using 2x Benq XL2420T's and a Benq XL2420TX and running windows 8.1, it's been extremely frustrating not being able to get this working after spending so much money on monitors just to be able to do 3d surround, any help or tips would be greatly appreciated
edit: FIXED
edit 2: ok now that i've actually tested in game it seems when 3d is enabled everything runs very choppy, when it was actually working before on one gpu it would run smoothly on most games now even games like CS:Go are very choppy I'm assuming its either windows or the drivers causing the issues considering running in SLI should improve the frame rates not make them worse.

read throught the batch file, tried a couple things didn't seem to be anything there to help, however I did try turning off surround and when doing so i was able to successfully turn on 3d vision and make it through the wizard, but once I turned surround back on it brought me back to only being able to turn on 3d vision discover not 3d vision via the monitors emitter so it seems because the driver is picking up the 3 monitors as one it cannot distinguish that it has the 3d emitter built in, I'm going to try using different configuration of ports, as of right now the monitor with the emitter is plugged in via the 2nd gpu in dvi-dual by itself and the other two are plugged in the 1st gpu one in dvi-d and the other in display port
edit: YES its working, switching the xl2420tx with one of the xl2420t's out so that the one with the emitter was on the first card seems to have fixed the problem its now detecting the emitter and is working just fine! thanks for trying to help though

I'm pretty sure that multi-monitor 3D support and in particular Surround is broken in 8.1. There was another thread awhile back that said other Surround users were broken after updating to 8.1.

No, mostly works, but broken in weird ways. SLI doesn't work, but only in 3D. Stuttering in some cases that wasn't there before, and not in 2D. 4th monitor in Surround setup doesn't work at all. Weird stuff.
Microsoft changed the way adapters are reported by the OS and it broke some features.
