I was a big fan of the first one which I played on the PS4 before it came to PC. So I'm excited for Toukiden 2 to have a PC release in a couple days. Probably the closest thing I play to get my Monster hunter fix in since I'm not a fan of the systems Monster Hunter gets released on... Its a great game own its on merits anyway.
I'm hoping this will work in 3d Vision or that a fixer would be interested in this. If necessary I would provide a copy to facilitate its fixing. Anyone else looking forward to this one?

I played the first one on my Vita to completion, and also my fair share of MH Freedom on PSP before it to be able to draw comparison, and I agree that it definitely has a much better combat system, although I couldn't stand the armor designs or even the majority of the oni. I picked up God Eater 2, thinking it would be good to play this style of game in 3D, but I've barely even touched it (even though it's almost perfect in 3D out of the box) and I think that's because one of the main draws of the hunting genre, for me, is the portability aspect. Anyway, hopefully this one will have good 3D out of the box as well, otherwise you might want to look at God Eater 2 as well.

So I fired this up today and here is what I found.
Graphics options does have a 30/60 fps option.
Can disable shadows.
Highest resolution could select in full screen is 1080p (that is disappointing since Koei just released Berserk with higher resolution options).
Able to start game with 3d Vision. Player models and some other things are working well. Some shaders seem to need fixing though.
Fire and flame is definitely not correct and distracting. The "ground" tiles seem to not work correctly in 3d vision.
Graphics still look decent even at 1080p, I think it could be a fun game if someone is interested in doing a fix.
Thanks for the other recommendations for Monster Hunter clones.. I did play God Eater 2 (first one great native 3d vision, the 2nd one seemed to have issues) I only played it a little and got distracted by something else at the time. I may go back after finishing Berserk.

I must admit that I had my doubts, that it actually worked, or it was just my imagination !
So I did a more scientific test by measuring the separation with 2 different settings.
And there was no difference, so you're right helifax, it's not supported, but why not anyway ?
We can adjust the separation as allways in CM, so why doesn't it change with the screensizes ?
That said, I'm actually rather surprised and pleased how well CM actually works, especially with 3 person games, the depht is allmost identical to the real thing :)

Thanks for that info! Was able to get it working with those settings. It - is - playable.. However there is a little ghosting or halo effect around people that bothers me a bit. Definitely not the same 3d effect as "real" 3d.
Would love to see a real 3d fix and anyone know if there is a .ini or other way to force it into 1440p?
1080p just looks a little blurry on my monitor (after using everything else at 1440p)..

Yeah, the real thing is allways preferable, but it's definatelly playable this way.
Blurry - why not use DSR and no AA, that should help..

Thanks for the tip looking into this...
All the you-tube videos on DSR I can find do it on games already with higher than 1080p options.. How can I do this on a game like Toukiden 2 with 1080p being the highest resolution I can select?

Sorry, I had forgotten that this is a 1080P only game, I have a 1080P monitor (yet)..
Why do developers make a 1080P game in 2017, I don't get it ????
In a lot of games I use 2-4xDSR and turn off AA, with AA of most games runs quite well..

I ranted about it a few places, for whatever reason they either mistakenly broke it or purposely blocked it from reading the MonitorSize Value in the Registry... when they unveiled CM it worked perfectly fine with DepthHacks you needed to use them to get a decent amount of Depth out of it, ie to equal 100%, and then they ruined that too... :(
