To turn on CM follow the very good explanation by Helifax under the following link... it is not difficult. Just do as he described it there: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/791450/3d-vision/guide-how-to-enable-and-tweak-3d-compatibility-mode-in-any-dx11-game/
Yeah I did it earlier for witcher but I copied the whole code from the fix page, here I've just tried to add this one line and its giving me the error when I try to import the profiles.
Make sure you erase "nvdrssel.bin" file each time it show up in there. Leave it only after Importing new/changed profile. I had that before and what I did was to make fresh driver`s instal with DDU clean and then changing lines but remembering about erasing this file before Export after Export and then leaving it there after Importing. Can`t be more specific :)

For what it's worth I managed to fix most of the shadows and lights - there seems to be just one pattern so far. Ambient Occlusions is a bit odd, there is skybox and of course HUD, but otherwise it's all doable stuff.

Here is a little tutorial and my settings that makes CM acceptable for me and with a good FrameRate (SLI GTX 770, Win 7, 64). Files you need: http://www.share-online.biz/dl/55KL4MXNQN (NOTE: I did not know the real english setting names in NV-Control-Panel but ill hope you will find it ^^) 1. copy "Fallout4" file from my archive to C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\NVStereoscopic3D.LOG\ (save your 3D-Vision Settings first if you want and overwrite the file) 2. set "prerendered Frames" in NV-ControlPanel-3D-Settings to "1" 3. set "V-Sync" in NV-ControlPanel-3D-Settings to "Enabled" 4. set "Texture-Filtering-Quality" in NV-ControlPanel-3D-Settings to "high performance" 5. set "Ambient Occlusion" in NV-ControlPanel-3D-Settings to "performance" 6. set "Muti-Display-Mode" in NV-ControlPanel-3D-Settings to "single display performance mode" 7. set "Energy-Control-Mode" in NV-ControlPanel-3D-Settings to "prefere max. performance" 8. go to "C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\Drs\" and delete "nvdrssel.bin" 9. start "Geforce 3D Profile Manager.exe" and press "Import SLI Profiles" 10. select "NVIDIA Profiles_FO_358.91.txt" from my archive 11. play the game PS: the value i have added to the 358.91 Fallout 4 Profile is: Setting ID_0x709adada = 0x37f5825f InternalSettingFlag=V0 If you want to keep your Driver Settings, simply start "Geforce 3D Profile Manager.exe" export your settings, change the Fallout 4 profile while adding "Setting ID_0x709adada = 0x37f5825f InternalSettingFlag=V0" or change the value if existing.
did u turn 3d on ? it is locked at 30fps no more (
Follow this to unlock your Framerate: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=551069501 (postet before by tehace) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- " Unlock Frame Rate (This may also help if you are having microstutter). Some such as myself by default are finding the game locked to 30fps, which is bizzare as for other it appears to be locked at 60. Likewise this has removed some miucrostutter some have been reporting. The below is how to unlock your frame rate if you have this 30fps cap issue like me, or want to go beyond 60. Note: I wouldn't recommend unlocking it above 60 based on what happend in skyrim when you did (the game became unstable). To unlock frame rate open Fallout4Pref.ini (located at C:\Users\[name]\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\). Note making a backup isn't neccessary as if you simply delete Fallout4Pref.ini the game will auto generate new one next time it is opened. Search for the line iPresentInterval=1, and change it to iPresentInterval=0 Next to use vsync got to the nvidia control panel or amd equivelant and apply vysnc here to avoid nasty screen tearing, as the above completely removes any frame rate cap. [edit: another possibly simpler solution that may work for you is to play in a bordeless window mode.] A thankyou to renegade_sock for posting this last piece of info below." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

@Losti: you should try this setting instead:
Setting ID_0x709adada = 0x07F58257 InternalSettingFlag=V0
Your proposed setting produces VERY high haloing and characters lack depth. Mine (AFAIK it is the most often used CM setting) produces MUCH less haloing and depth is good on both characters and environment (needed to lower convergence with CTRL+F5 to make geometry right). However, some UI elements may render over scene geometry. Just give it a try and see which one you like best :)
