I just REALLY wanted an excuse to write that topic...
Apparently its gonna be one of those stealth releases on steam. Ed Boon confirmed it on his twitter yesterday. Anywho I plan to pick it up just cause story mode is actually good, price is good, I really want to see Injustice come to PC. Ill be sure to write about how it is in 3D here.
I know there are like a billion GMG discount codes anyone know one that's good for it?
Edit nm: Pre-order code GMG25-BAWQB-8UQWG [25% off]
Also picked up Rise of Triad since its ridiculously cheap.GMG Rocks... how are they in business?

It's coming sooner than I thought. Can't wait to finally play it. Story set-up is good imo but story content is meh. So I intend to pick it up to experience the new style of gameplay since I never played mk vs dc or this game on consoles. I also am looking forward to costume mods and getting clothing from previous titles.

Eqzitara, you just made my day...again! When I read the topic title I instantly began to shiver.
The most impressive title of my favourite videogame-series is coming to PC (shame on me I didn't even know that it's coming). This one MUST be 3D vision-compatible........

Trust me, I would have loved to tell you by now if this one is playable in 3D by default. Unfortunately I am from Germany where this glorious game is banned. So it's not available on Steam for me.......have to find another way to get it 'cause not getting it is not an Option!

In the steam forum someone mentioned its flawless in 3D. I've just purchased it, should get to play it later tonight hopefully and see for myself.
The PS3 version was 3D so I would be surprised if this version wasn't.
......Why in the world would you listen to someone on steam forums.
I doubt it. Its on ue3 so Shadow issues at least probably.
On a side note.. steam says its 103 megs... so yea... I cant seem to install it. Great.
Convergence is locked but the NVAPI tool works to unlock it.
Hud is 2d. The only problem I saw is the sunrays in a few levels are broken.
Other than that not bad in 3D.
Convergeance is fine for me. But these are the things that keep it from being perfect 3D:
-Adjust convergeance normally to achieve toyification, but foreground objects and xrays are misaligned
-Adjust convergeance so that the foreground objects and xrays are lined up, hud will be misaligned
So, can't win lol. It is great in 3D vision if you want one of these options hindered.
It has auto adjust graphics settings which is brilliant. All games need this. If all games had this, it makes the nvidia gfexperience feature inferior.
The shadows actually seem fine so far. The upscaling of videos show compression. The sound quality of some of the cutscene vids are kinda bad as well.
My gripe about the game itself is that you can't turn off body damage like you could in MK5-7. That sucks. And that cutscenes are video instead of rendered by the game. But other than that, this is one of the greatest ports I ever seen.

Though Im not gonna lie I am a bit surprised it supports 3D. I dont remember a single UE3 even trying to convergence lock [Though borderlands 1/2, bulletstorm, homeland needed it and were "supported"]
Its kind of wierd that I am so pessimistic that I really doubted it could have support. But yea... things are getting weird with UE3. May be a real good thing, like look at Remember Me.
edit: Wierd.. I just thought about it.
Batman Arkham/city ->warner bros
Lego Games -> Warner bros
Mortal Kombat -> Warner bros
All support 3D. I didnt think they'd use the "arkham" version for this game. But that spells good news for people worrying about origins.

Oh wow, its DX11 didn't see that coming but I completely forgot that Warner Bros = Arkham UE3 version.
Its basically a DX9 game with awesome AA settings. Doesnt really matter since AA overrides work well on UE3 though.
It is [u]not[/u] convergence locked. TBH, I never saw an ue3 game that was. May be for a reason.
Problems are some background "effect" ghosting on some stages.
No seperate convergence setting for story/gameplay.
Distortion is borked[like reptile].
My main problem with game is its got Max payne 3 syndrome. Lots of CG movies. If you asked me to rate it I'd say its great. You will either have to live with ghosting in background or some inconviences such as hud/foreground. Its not a bad 3D title by any means but you may have to sacrifice convergence/depth setting you want. If your interested in game the 3D is good but if you were to buy just for 3D. Im not sure if thats a good idea.
Im not in a rush to play since my interest was campaign and I would be much happier with two different settings I will wait for this indigomod[not sure if offical name]. Since I may have a shot of two different settings.

Lohan, I'll gift it to you if you paypal me $20. Offer is open to anyone else too, if they want a discounted copy (it's normally $30).
If anyone's curious, it's because Valve let me buy from the Russian steam store, where games are cheaper. Some of the Russian versions are region locked and can only be played in Russia, but most are not. I have ways of testing for this lock before purchase, and Mortal Kombat is definitely unlocked and is multilanguage (including English and German) on the Russian store.
Anyway, add me on Steam if you want. Name is the same as here.
