You can try using home/end to increase/decrease resolution, insert/delete to change between 16/32 bit and Page Up/Page Down to change between refresh rates while in the wizard. I may have those all backwards, but it's easy enough to figure out which does what. I think I had it working via 3D Vision with an EDID from a H5360

Yah, the battery lasts approximately 4 hours and then requires around 3 hours to recharge. I never have tried playing while charging, but you are supposed to be able to do so. I was messing around with Avatar the game and heard two beeps, indicating low battery, so it's charging now. The light is blinking as it charges. I turned off 3D in NvCP, while trying native stereoscopic support in Avatar. Interestingly, Sensio and RealD Checkerboard formats worked, aliasing was a little worse though. Of course, SbS also worked. What game were you trying? I was trying Doom BFG Edition, but I'm having trouble getting it to work with the Glyph. I also can not get it to work with 3D Vision on my 120Hz display, nor can I get Jedi Academy working. Both worked on W7 but do not seem to work on W8.1, if you have either of these game can you try it/them on W10?

The DX 9 game was Deadspace. I forgot to mention I was using Tridef for that. I have mainly played with Battlefield V as I have this weird problem where there is a sync issue for L/R Image. One of the eyes seems to be 1 frame late without Vsync and objects seem to be floating. It's very weird. I couldn't yet figure out what is causing it. PS: I don't know what happened but my Glyph does not start anymore without usb connected. After I start it I can disconnect the USB. :(

Yes I am using maxprerendered frames =1, I tried to have it to 2 but it doesn't make any difference. Then I looked more into it and I saw that the syncline is moving up and down and it's only bothering when it's in the right eye. I remmebered that 3DTV output is actually Fullframe TAB so it make sense that with vsync off, if you have the syncline/scanline below the middle of the image, the left image will be 1 frame in advance compared to the right eye. BTW I had the FPS locked to 60. The solution I found was locking the FPS to 68. In this way the scanline is moving so fast you can't see this issue; You do introduce, however a bit of blur in the mix.

I got it from here. But if you don't have any issues I wouldn't updgade the firmware https://apkpure.com/avegant/com.spectrumdt.glyph Doesn't actually bring any improvements. I moded the Edid a bit to have less audio issues and black screen. I don't know about the cinemizer. I've read some comments compaining about image quality and colours so I pass. For me The Glyph is just great

I want to try this with my VP 3D1 and a stand alone Blu-ray player. I dug it out of storage but I can't find the power cord or remote. If it supports Frame Sequential at 120Hz, it would work to watch 3D Blue-rays without a PC.

Ummm Google it :P "Get an immersive, life-size 3D projection experience at home. The ViewSonic VP3D1 3D HD Video Processor converts 3D HD formats, like 3D Blu-ray movies, PlayStation3 3D games, 3D TV broadcasts to display on ViewSonic 3D-Ready or DLP Link 3D-Ready projectors with HDMI. Simply connect the VP3D1 between your 3D-Ready DLP Link projector and 3D HD video source. And enjoy the best 3D experience with ViewSonic PGD-250 3D glasses."

OK, I returned the Glyph I had as it was defective and got a new one. I am loving this device so much, it is amazing. Image quality when using DSR x4 is amazing. You wouldn't say this is 720p display. It is comparable with the my OLED TV and in some ways even better as with this I notice more details than on the TV. I measured the "Button to pixel" lag in BFV with 3D on and got a result of 64.6ms which compared to the LG 65E6 97.1ms is very good. Those Headshots are much easier to hit in Battlefiled V. I did't measure the 2D Button to pixel time as it's a very difficult process with the Glyph but theoretically it should be 1 frame less (-16,6ms=48ms) which is better than my IPS monitor 58,8ms.(for 65E6 it is 80.5ms) I also checked the color gamut using the Colormunki colorimeter and it seems to outside the Rec709, close to DCI-p3. However on the white point and greyscale I kept getting errors in measurements as it was showing me over 100% blue and around 30%red even when the image was visibly redish. Perhaps due to the specificity of this display it cannot be measured correctly with standard processes. The good: -Image sharpness, brightness, colors. -I can adjust very well the lenses and don't have to wear my glasses -After setting up it's very easy take off and put it back without needing to adjust everything again -it is so easy to interact with outside world , just drop your eyes down and you can see your keyboard... -low inputlag -very low pice - the device does not heat up, it's not like the WMR headset that boils your face after 30 minutes. -black level is better than expected for DLP, using RGB Full a complete black screen is dark grey but in normal images, due to the brighness black is ..."very" black -no Rainbow effect visible, I was never sensitive to it but I could notice it on my Benq Projector. -very customizable fit :IPD , Prescription, nose bridge, head strap -motion handling is better than OLED, and OLED is already very good. - Screen size perception is like being in a cinema in the upper rows. The bad: - After about 3 hours I feel some pressure on the ears, I have to take it off from time to time. I cannot go 1 full day gaming like on the E6 -I can only get 100 % focus on all the screen if my eyelids touch the lenses so I set it up that the upper right is a bit blurry because for me is the less important part of the image. - sometimes it can feel very bright even on the low setting ( especialy if you use RGB limited) - there is a constant hum in the headphones but it does not increase with sound level so it will be covered but can be annoying in the moments of silence. -only supports framepacking and SBS. TaB support would have been great. In Tridef the only option for DX01,11 games is SBS. Textures look OK but test is pixelated. - When in 3d the right image is missing a small portion, I don't know why (the defective one didn't have this issue) - Does not Support HDR even if I think this technology could do HDR much better than TV's All in all it is the best bang for a buck for a 3D display.

I have it too and yeah, it's a great device. For me one of the advantages I'd add is 3d gaming on the go. I have a GPD WIN 2 and I can use Dolphin SBS mode to play games like Zelda WW and many others in 3d anywhere. It also works fine with Tridef, and I recently finished Prince of Persia The Sands of Time in 3D on my GPD WIN 2 on a trip, and it's so easy to pack GPD WIN 2 (which is lake a 3ds xl in size), together with Avegant Glyph on a backpack and play in 3d anywhere.

I bought one from Newegg a week ago and am waiting for it to be delivered. Actually I just checked and it's cleared customs this morning :-) Hopefully it works fine as it looks to be a 3rd party seller and was shipped internationally, but if as described it's probably a bargain for a bit of tech with a few different applications. It cost me £120 shipped to the UK. I'll let you know how I get on.
