Viewsonic PJD6553w This is suppose to be the heir to the PJD6531w? I need some info/help.
The PJD6531 has been discontinued and it was the only 720P approved projector from Viewsonic. In the beginning it was not approved and needed a firmware update. The PC timing specs of the PJD6531w are a subset of the NEW PJD6553w. Will there be a firmware upgrade to make this new unit compatible or is the user manual incorrect in NOT listing a 120HZ mode@1280*720. (These things have happened before)
I am ready to purchase a projector and a GTX670 card but need this info before I proceed.
Also Nvidia seems to be slow in listing new compatible products so this is why I am inquiring.

Currently this projector is not supported, and we have no info on this projector to be able to add support for it at this time if it is possible.
As for the firmware question, that would be something to direct to Viewsonic as we have no interaction with the firmware update process for projectors.

Thank you for that info. The specs on this projector are very nice. Too bad it is not compatible.
