These all look fantastic. I've been using Dolphin to play Gamecube/Wii games in 3D for some time now. The fact that most of these games - often created 10+ years ago - are completely flawless in 3D shows that developers don't need to do anything to "support" 3D. They just need to code their games correctly and not take shortcuts.

These games look great. I tried the Dolphin build available on your website. But ive had serious issues with game speed.
Mario Kart in-particular runs good in the game menu, but as soon as the race starts, it drops to about an unplayable 2-5 FPS.

Did you have to change the settings for any games.. or tweak anything to get it running that smooth? Because I cant even get close to what I saw in your videos.

My machine should make light work of it i7, 470 GTX, 6GB ram.

Cheers

EDIT: Ive tried other builds as well. But I havent had a smooth game in Mario kart in any of them.

Is it possible to get a download of the videos to play in the 3D Vision Player instead of streaming?

Thanks Dizzy. I tried the emulator from your website, and even followed the instructions from another youtube tutorial video you posted. and it seemed to be no good for me.
However, the only thing that seemed to work for me, was the official dolphin 3.0 build from the website. I dont have framerate issues any more. Its not perfect, but i think if i tweak the graphics settings a bit more, it could fix the problem.

Thanks mate

Super Mario Galaxy 2 was easily the most impressive. Those games have always had a strong art direction and when seen in 3D it really hammers in how trippy they are.

I got the latest Dolphin but have troubles running Super Mario Galaxy 2 in s3d. I configured emulated Wiimote in Dolphin (x-box pad plus mouse) and while the game runs fine in non-3d with this config, once I enable 3d vision and launch, I cannot make the game to respond to controls, so I am stuck at the welcome screen where you should press A + B. Anyone has workaround for this?

@Skarling Within the Dolphin 'Wiimote' or 'GC controller' control panel, click 'configure' and check the 'Background Input' box to enable the controlls. That drove me mad until I figured it out!

I have not found an easy way to exit the emulator at the moment, Alt-Tab and Alt-Ctrl-Delete seem to be my only options. I prefer the latter and Alt-Tab gives an error of unholy proportions...

Enjoy!

Ps. More info and other help on the 3Dizzy Forums

Thanks for the tip, 3Dizzy! I'd have never figured that out for myself :)

SMG2 does look amazing when run in full HD, have a look at screenie for an idea. Once you are past a short prologue (some confusing 3d while in a "book" mode) and off to stars, it truly shines.

It's CPU-bound more than GPU. What sort of processor do you have?

I have a quad core Intel i7 860. I think there is an option for dual core in dolphin 3.0, but is there an option for quad core? I average around 45 frames, but many sections dip to the mid 20's. The game looks so good in 3D. It really sucks that a high end computer can't get decent frame rates.

Can u guys post any settings you might be using to get a decent frame rate. Thanks.

@conan48

Have a look at the attached screenshots for the Dolphin Config and Graphics settings. I have found this works perfectly in 3D on my system (which is a beast). Im not saying this will work for everyone, but it certainly does for me.

Hope this helps!
