I have an issue with the 3d Vision beeing set to start automatically when i start a fullscreen app. I know i can uncheck the little box in the control panel. The thing is that in previous driver (back in the gtx470 days) you were able to run a game without the 3d vision feature starting automatically. If you wanted to play in 3d you just simply pressed the IR-emitter button and it turned the feature on. So im asking you Nvidia why did your driver guys changed that to "hey im 3d vision ..im gonna start all on my own and force the stupid player to press my IR-emitter button every time he doesnt want to use me". Seriously why and don't tell me it was never like in the older drivers as described.(At least your friendly live chat guy tried to)

I was previously able to make it so that 3D Vision was off when starting a game by clearing that checkbox
The checkbox was not to enable 3D, it needed checked to disable it.
"Hide stereoscopic 3D effects when game starts" is what the checkbox said.

BTW, this is a user to user forum, good luck getting Nvidia to read this.
The only threads they regularly read are the latest driver feedback threads.

Yeah, it's still a registry setting. The easiest way to do it is save the following as StereoDefaultOff.reg and run it after a Driver install.
For x64:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D]
"StereoDefaultON"=dword:00000000
Or for x86:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D]
"StereoDefaultON"=dword:00000000
