Fix for Call of Duty WaW Please?
Does anyone have a fix for Call of Duty WaW not displaying names in the multiplayer? This is really annoying and IS the 3dvision. As soon as I switch it off names come back. This game is impossible to play without names for your team.

Did you try the new 186.18 3D Vision Drivers? That could help.

Thank you. NVIDIA amazes me at with their customer relations strategy. Most of the time I will post a message like this in a company's forum and not hear anything from a representative. Here there is an active representative letting the consumer know that the issue is in the process of being resolved. Andrew, you are serving a critical role that most companies fail to fulfill. Telling the customer that they are being heard and that their issue is being resolved in a timely fashion. Thanks.

Well, it would seem this bug has returned with the new 258 drivers.

Any help would be appreciated as it's pretty much impossible to play online if I can't tell who my teammates are.

I'm a little bummed out over being completely ignored here... so allow me to elaborate a little instead of just doing a bump:

I'm running Call of Duty World at War multiplayer (plain ol' regular multiplayer COD5, not the nazi zombies mode) version 1.7.1263 via steam.

I have a 9800 GTX with the latest and greatest 3D Vision full CD driver download, the CD version 1.33 with GPU and 3D Vision drivers version 258.96.

I am running a BRAND SPANKING NEW Win 7 install, I literally just reformatted a week or two ago and have installed nothing except windows updates, nvidia drivers, firefox, ventrilo, and steam.

The player tags (the little name thingeys that appear above your teammates when you look at them) appear just fine when I have 3D Vision off, but when I turn 3D Vision on they disappear.

I'd much appreciate any help here, rather than just telling me to "shoot da nazis!"
