TMT3 works great with the 3dvision glasses ! I just watched the 3d avatar trailer - Perfect!!! But I have a big problem at the moment, to get the "Cloudy.....meatballs" 3d-Blu-ray running (We are a little bit earlier than you are, here in germany ;-) ). Doesnt work so far. When starting in 3D mode, the move starts with the "international" beginning - FBI copy warning and so on... Then, the "Menu Movie" plays in an endless loop, but no menu appears. When staring in 2d mode, the menu appears, but when i try to select "play in 3d" an error pops up and says "You need a 3D capable Player and TV"..... very frustrating!!!

I have just received the 3D version of this movie, but the UK version! It plays fine in TMT3. When you switch between 2D and 3D it restarts the whole blu-ray and as you found out in 2D it fails to let you even choose the 3D version of the movie in the menus. But I can tell you that the Uk version plays just fine in 3D mode. The menu appears and the movie starts without a problem.
On the GTX480 card, the CPU is left alone and is near idle when playing the 3D movie! The graphics card doesn't appear to be working too hard either as the fans don't rev up. My PC idles (average) at 120W. When playing the movie it goes up to 200W. But when playing a graphically intense game then it hits 400. Note these are average and not peaks.

So which disc has better 3D pop effect? MvA or Cloudy with a chance of meatballs?
And does the TMT3 depth setting for the 3D plugin apply for 3D blu-rays? Ie. you can adjust the depth to your content? Or is the depth/convergence locked? Either way how good is it? Any ghosting?

Also code DADGRAD supposedly gives 25% off.
