Ok I've worked it out. Looking good, though a fair ways to go with lots of specific lighting effects - I have no idea how many shaders I might need to fix, I am hoping it's not like Bioshock 1/2... Pic attached.

Thanks man!
I know nothing about fixing games, but tridef staff couldnt fix lighting, so supposedly its its going to be really painful to fix.

Hi - I don't think it's a lost cause, though I am stuck on some investigative work to work out the issues with some lighting effects that come in and out of stereo focus at certain distances and viewing angles. I have seen this before in a couple of games now (RE6, Lego, PayDay) and fixed it for them, I just need to hunt down the cause for this game. I made some progress last night actually identifying where the problem might arise, but I need to invest more into sorting it out. Some shaders need to selectively correct certain effects but not others and its hard to filter through it all. Definitely still my priority game at the moment (though the Divinity game was a nice diversion).

Hi - no not cancelled! I was stuck on a problem (I described above), but I have worked that one out. In it's place is a new problem with diffuse lights I have not had chance to look at yet. This is how fixes go sometimes - you get 90% there but to fix the last 10% you have to unravel something else and screw it up and you end up back at 70%, with a different solution path ahead of you. I have 3 things on the go which is proving to be a bit of hard work on top of my actual job (Splinter Cell Blacklist, Might and Magic X Legacy and fixing Rome 2 after the Beta 9 patch screwed up all the shader CRCs). I also have Lego Harry Potter and Lego Pirates of the Caribbean 90% done but never completed... After this backlog, I am going back to one game at a time lol. Actually I think I have worked out how to fix the one remaining lighting issue in RE6 (spotlights) so add that to my list as well...

I swear, guys, if you don't stop bothering Mike, I'll find out who you are, I'll come to your house, and I'll ... hold your hand through your Splinter Cell addiction, till the withdrawal symptoms pass.
Let him be, he has work to do!
:-)

Mike posted his fix for Splinter Cell: Blacklist on helix-blog two days ago. Tridef also has a Blacklist-profile available since the last Beta which came out a couple of weeks ago.
Anyone here who has already tested both solutions (Mike's fix for 3d Vision AND the new profile for Tridef) and can give us advice which solution should be preferred for Splinter Cell Blacklist?
Thanks in advance!
