z800 emagin 3d goggles + 9800GT + Vista 32bit, no go?
Not sure if this is the right place for this question..

But we have an emagin z800 3d goggle set, with vista x86 and the latest nvidia drivers .. i try to go into the 3d stereo settings..enable them, but we cant get 3d working..

Does anyone know if this should work with these goggles?

Thanks

Yep, unfortunately it is a no go. The only way to make the Z800 work is with Iz3D's driver in shutter mode, but it is still in beta and not perfectly working... it looses sync with low framerate and "drops" out of S3D mode...

And I think it only works on a 32bit OS also. :(

Sadly there is no longer any support for the Z800 or any other HMD with the recent Nvidia drivers.

IZ3D driver does supports 64-bit (on the latest RC build) but the OP was asking about 32-bit anyhow. Either way, I hear the shutter mode on the iz3d driver is not all that great, but I guess its better than nothing.

Here is a short guide I did on how to use i-O Display i-glasses HMD with IZ3D's drivers, but it is the same with eMagin's Z800 (if you have a newer firmware, because the oldest firmwares are not supported) - http://3dvision-blog.com/running-stereo-3d...-pcsvga-3d-hmd/

What about on vista x86 with an older nvidia driver, is this even possible?

With your video card it is a no go unfortunately, you have to use an older card to make it work and it is still not issue free, so in general its not worth the effort...
