updateing firmware. Acer GD245HQ help please :(
ive been having trubbles with my 3d vision and this monitor half my screen is totaly messed up nvidia told me to get the latest firmware for my montor.. but by god i cant find it.. anywhere.. on acers site on anywhere on google /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' /> anyone know where i can get firmware for my mintor? /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' /> im stumped.

You better think about getting the display replaced if you are having some serious issues. The suggestion to update the firmware may sound good at first, but only if you don't know how this procedure goes for updating the display. You not only need the actual firmware (the files containing the system software, also not publicly available), but also a special board to program it with that connects to the VGA port of the monitor to do the actual programming of the firmware and finding that will be quite hard for a normal person, believe me ;)

Well then this screen is going back to acer.. but what if it is just a sofwear issue. and theres nothing rong with the monitor.. ? hmmm
