A quick question about a 3D Monitor.
Hello guys THIS MIGHT SEEM LIKE A DUMB ASS QUESTION BUT I'm NEW TO THIS 3D STUFF AND I GOT INTO GAMING A MONTH AGO, I know, I know, where have I been right?

Anyway, I'm looking to buy a 3D Monitor from Argos, and in the product description it says you can your on 3D at any time, do you think this would work for games ( like would stuff appear to come out ), or do I need to get the NVIDIA 3D Kit and if I do around how much would it cost me.

If I buy this monitor and I'm playing a game like CoD 4 and I turn the 3D on all I would need is 3D glasses right? And things would appear to come out right?

Thanks in advance

2D to 3D conversion is going to look pretty bad for games.

You'll need some sort of driver to get a good 3D effect in games, that monitor is not on the supported list for 3DVision, so it won' t work.
It might work through the HDMI port, it it does you'd have to use 3D TV Play, and you'd be restricted to 720P resolutions, which to me for a passive display would be unacceptable.
You might get it working with the iZ3D driver or the Tridef driver in interlace mode, but I wouldn't want to buy it to find out.

To use 3D Vision you'll want a monitor that actually says "3D Vision Ready" on it.

-its a scam, they stole the LED recipe too, and the actual LCD display panel is a highly toxic e-waste , they don't even really know what to do with it yet, Captain Planet would really punch these guys...
-heard about planned obsolescence?

Yes, I think there is a passive 3d pressure too, many fall for it, thats how CRT turned into a bad display just recently /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' /> /stud.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':stud:' />
