I've tried it as well, completed the intro. The UI Menus are a bit hard to look at, but thankfully there are no menus to worry about in game (none so far anyhow).
Andrew is definitely right about the shadows, and turning off the shadows seems to have helped some. I'm still having some issues where there's (is ghosting the right term for it?) -- I can't get convergence to be 100% correct for both the foreground very close up scenes and the distant background at the same time. I've had to turn down the depth pretty far -- but I'm wondering if part of that isn't just due to my new monitor rather than using the projector I'm used to (out for repairs).
Any other tips to get this game working a bit better Andrew? I'll play around with it more tomorrow and see if I can improve it at all.
In short: It's much better than Saints Row 3, but doesn't compare to Batman or Mass Effect, etc.

Using the highest setting for graphic quality caused some problems with bloom and other effects. But changing the settings to high solved the problems. This also seems to turn off the shadows as I can't see dynamic shadows on the ground although shadows are turned on in the settings.
Nevertheless the game now offers S3D without any issues. I use the XBox 360 controller to play it so I don't have any issues with a mouse pointer beeing at the wrong depth. The gameplay reminds a little bit to Heavy Rain so it is not a classic point&click adventure. As there are only a few adventure games that offer real 3D instead of prerendered 2D I really can recommend this game /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

My original display name is 3d4dd - for some reason Nvidia changed it..?!
the game is just awesome in 3D, tell you.
However, it is HIGHLY recommended to turn off the option AFTER-PROCESSING ( note: in fact, it is the so-called "postprocessing" effect ) and to lower all shadows AND the convergence ( in game ). After having done all that, you will be surprised to see how much J.P. is good in 3D.

Using those four steps, I've repeated their success. This game looks *phenomenal* in 3D after following those steps.
I'll try it in Surround 3D later this week once I have my other 2 projectors.
We did some testing on this game and we found that some of the rendering issues actually go away with SLI, but there present on a single GPU. We are still looking into that. So for SLI users, you should be able to crank the settings up and get great looking 3D.

Thanks Andrew! I'll be installing SLI for the first time just later today, so I'll give it a try.

I can confirm that SLI fixed the issues for me, and it looks amazing. Makes this type of game (button pressing events, etc.) significantly more immersive.

I played this recently and made a different profile that gives better results than the default profile, imo.
Here it is, if anyone is interested.
