Well, for example, when they made the game they probably used Nvidia cards and also they could gave worked close with Nvidia to optimize their drivers.
I'll give you an example, you may not notice that with the current gpu generation (6-7), but with the 5900xt I was getting a rather lower performance with Far Cry than the 9800pro card from Ati, which I think thatoffered altogether the same performance when tested (this without stereo).
I don't know whether this was because they've said it's ati optimized, or because it was a direct3d game, which have always had better performance with ati cards.
When I tried running Far cry in opengl mode it showen much better performance.
Bwt I thonk today the demo of prey is coming out, it's a doom-enginge modified game, I hope it runs ok, but even if it doesn't we have a lot of tweaking to do to get rid of the post-prossesing effects.

Don't get me wrong, SFA launches but no 3D. I can't even get KA to play in 2D or 3D with any other driver newer then 78.01. I agree SFA is sad compared to KA.

Hi Artox,
As the stereo drivers are an NVIDIA technology, it would be a big plus if they could make sure it is part of their "NVIDIA Meant to be Played" specification.
They must have basic conditions that need to be met to get that stamp of approval.
It's not enough to just have a well run game - there should be rules that need to be followed.
Who do you think I can write to to inquire about this?

NVIDIA has released an official 91.31. I haven't downloaded it yet. I hope they fixed KA!
