I know the message you get,but don't remember how to get rid of it...
Some things you can try:
-Install the latest patch of the game.
-Update windows 7
-Remove spy or virus software
-reinstall game to another harddisk (on the same partition where win7 and nvidia drivers are located)

It's curious but I can't play the new and horrible releasing AVP on 3D Vision. What do you mean "vision mode"?[/quote]
sorry, when I refer to vision mode, i simply mean that the glasses engage when the game is launched. on this occasion even though the glasses engage, their is no separation of image, so no 3D at all

Thks Lord, I'm not alone. There is definitelly something wrong about that. Nvidia reports this game as "excellent" in 3D, have you people seen that too? This is not fair. I bought stereoscopic gla$$es$ thinking about this game. Is it possible talking to an enginner about that?
Another thing: does anybody here knows what kind of product shall I use for cleaning the glasees? What kind of product shall I use for cleaning that green cloth?

Which game are you guys referring to, because it sounds like some of you are confused and are referring to two different games, the 2001 Aliens vs Predator 2 developed by Monolith or the one released this past February 2010 by Rebellion?
The new one supports DX 9, 10, and 11 and works with 3D vision (as long as you get your convergence right), the two older games are Directx 6 and 8 respectively. Neither Directx versions are supported by 3D vision. To play those, you need the old style Nvidia 3D stereo solution with preferably a 7900GT, 7950GT, or 7900GTX (or any other 7 series). I have a 7900 GTX SLI system which can play these games.

I'm talking about ALien vs Predator 2 and that's monolith's game, , I think that nvidia refers to it as alien vs predator 2 too, mostly since the 2010 version seems to be mentioned as alien vs predator 3 in the list

And Nvidia has AvP2 (2001) listed as excellent for 3D?

Yeah, I think this one is left over from their ratings used on their 3D stereo drivers prior to 3D vision. Apparently, I thought these had all been cleaned out and up to date to relect 3D vision only, but it looks like that one still got stuck in there.
But having said that, the title really is excellent in 3D stereo just not with 3D vision. Sadly...
