No sound in playback of Shadowplay recording
Hey guys, I started using shadowplay and the video recording is awesome. However there is no sound in the playback of the recording. Have any of you had this issue?

I have similar problem. No sound during Shadowplay playback recording. I also encountered Shadowplay not working in Battlefield 4. Pressing the hotkeys does nothing.

I'd suggest this isn't the right part of the forums to discuss this. You'll probably get more help with this issue elsewhere.

Sounds are working fine for me. Could it be they are recording but your playback isn't understanding it? Codecs are such a mess these days. I can't even view these things under Windows Media Player, I have to use Quicktime or SMPlayer. What I can't figure out is how to NOT record in 3D. Every time I record it gets squished horizontally into 1920x1080 in side by side mode, even if I've got 3D Vision toggled off!

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.

I found something that fixed the issue- apparently I had NVIDIA HIgh Definition Audio disabled. Enabling it on the Device Manager seemed to work for me.

Those codec packs scare me. I've heard of WAY too many people having issues after installing one of those things. I may have to, though, if I can't get Movie Maker to work right.
