Are the lights you disabled the async compute ones?
Is that why all those areas run poorly in 2D?
Is this due to async compute calculations being pathetic on Nvidia cards as it uses software and amazing on AMD cards as they can use hardware?
I hope Nvidia bring back proper async compute support. Is it terrible on Nvidia cards as they don't want to unlock the cuda method as it'll infringe on their quadro cards?
Can these async sections in star wars be fixed in 3D rather than disabled?
Can Nvidia force these async lighting calculations to be rendered in cuda or the main core?
Thanks for this fix helix. Just wanted to pick your mind on a few matters.

I just bought this game and went to install the fix and seem to be having some troubles with the profile.
I have followed instructions, repeated multiple times and can't get the profile to save correctly.
I delete nvdrssel.bin -> export profile
Swap data in profile
Delete nvdrssel.bin -> import profile
When I load the game I have one eye rendering. If I export the profile again (deleting nvdrssel.bin previously) the profile reads as follows:
Profile "Star Wars: Battlefront (2015)"

Obviously not saving and keeping the correct format once imported. I am using GeForce 3D Settings Profile Manager.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi something is wrong there and the profile seems to be incomplete.
You are missing these fields:
Setting ID_0x702442fc = 0x1c22fe24 InternalSettingFlag=V0
Setting ID_0x708db8c5 = 0x5d18eaa2 InternalSettingFlag=V0
Setting ID_0x709adada = 0x37f58357 InternalSettingFlag=V0
Double check that the profile in the .txt file you are using for importing is exactly like the one of the first page (nothing more, nothing less) and you didn't miss a Start/End fields of a profile.
I am not currently at home but if you still have issues I can send you my .txt file this evening that contains this profile (among others as well) and which works;)
Hope this helps

Hi helifax, thanks for the response. I tried again, triple checked that I had copied the profile from the first page word for word, still not working. It seems as if something goes wrong when importing the file.
Once again the fields you quoted don't show up when I export the profile to check what went wrong. I don't understand why I'm having dramas but now that I think of it I remember trying to use your Fallout 4 profile that you posted and that totally screwed the game as well. Ended up doing a DDU wipe and clean install of drivers to get the standard profiles back.
Thanks for your help and for your work pumping out these fixes (along with everyone else) it really is appreciated.

That is very strange... and have no idea what is happening there.
All the profile I posted are working for more people... I think there might be something particular with your system and how the drivers work on it or with the import/export part... No idea:(

hello pros !
i have a little problem.
I always put the depth amount at 100% in all games without problems.
For SW battlefront 2015, i mean the problem is about the depth amount which ALWAYS initialize to 15% (default depth amount) if i try to go "Forward". That's strange. I can go in all other directions, the depth amount keeps 100%

Out of interest what version of windows are you running Helifax? I'm on 8.1 at the moment, been trying to import the profile for the last couple of days when I can be bothered and always fails.
I just upgraded to surround setup and tried to use the Fallout 4 profile you created as well and it does the same thing. I guess driver version would be important also, I am currently using 361.43. If you don't mind could you please share what driver you are running so I can try and get my system as close to yours as possible.

Driver version doesn't matter... All drivers are working including 359.00, 359.06, 361.43, 361.60.
I am using both Windows 7 and Windows 10. Windows 7 for 3D Surround as in Windows 10 SLI doesn't work in 3D Surround yet.
What I suggest is:
- Use DDU and purge your drivers.
- Install the driver set.
- Repeat the guide and FOLLOW ALL STEPS! Don't skip any;)
This should resolve the issues you are having;)

@daza121 Have you tried using nvinspector to do the import? I had an issue with the sli profile manager tool not working to do the import in win10 so I did the export all profiles as text from nvinspector and copied over the BF 2015 section and then did import all profiles from text file and that worked fine. Also, every time I first start it up after changing drivers and doing the import it starts up with one eye locked so I have to alt-tab out and back in once and then it works fine every time after that. (also remember to ctrl+alt+F11 to turn off compatibility mode.)

@someskunkfunk thanks for the idea mate. Gave it a shot but sadly no go once again. I'm going to roll back drivers and see if that helps, if not maybe it just doesn't play ball with 8.1 or my system. Really quite frustrating, I'm so excited to see Battlefront in 3d and Fallout 4 in 3d surround.
