Are there any LARGER Samsung monitors confirmed to work with this product?
I currently have 30" Samsung Syncmaster 305T and I really like it, its just that the refresh is 60hz.

I'm going to commit to buy this bundle, but before I downsize, I just want to see if anyone has found and tried anything better.

I was holding out for a 24" version. I eventually caved in and got the Samsung 2233RZ. Honestly with the glasses on, you don't notice the screen size at all. You are just mesmerized by the 3D affect.

It is true, I was skeptical also, but the image seems large when you actually start gaming with it, due to the way the technology works. I dumped a 26" screen for the 2233RZ and I would do it again in a heart beat.

If you really want a larger Screen you will have to wait until the end of the year to see waht happens. Everyone seems a little tight lipped about any new and larger 120hz monitors.

But remember while bigger may appear better. you normally sit further away from the screen with bigger and thus end up having the same relative size.

Asus has announced a new 23.6" 1920x1080 120Hz 3d LCD on the way, no official word on when or how much though.

I concur, though, that I'd take a 22" with 3d Vision over a 26" without it ANY day.

get a 65" or 73" off tigerdirect. That should cure your need for a larger screen

I downsized from a 24" to the Samsung, that lasted all of three weeks before I sold up and moved back to the 24".

I can't explain it but I just couldn't get on with my 3D glasses but had seen and played with the system at the CES show for a while. I think it was probably down more to do with the fact that I had gotten so used to playing things at 1920x1200 that it didn't feel right to me.

I can't wait for the 24+ inch screens come out because the tech was very good when I used it.

Yeah, wow... I could never look back after seeing 3d. Besides, 3d did more to clean up image quality than any bump in resolution ever did.

I think 30" is the highest I'd want to go, but I'd take a 24". I haven't really pushed it back any further than my old 24", but I think I might if I went larger. I'm a software developer and I use my computer for other things besides gaming, so I can use the extra real estate on screen. Besides, a 65" screen is not going to have the same dot pitch.

I really do like the Samsung displays though. One thing that really annoys me is this trend to make everything shiny. I bought a Gateway 24" awhile back and not only does the viewing angle reduce the visibility, the glossy display is a distraction. Monitors are meant to present content, not show a reflection of the user. I've had good luck with the 3 Samsung displays I've bought though. My 16" has developed some streaking on the left side, but its about 8 years old.

I keep a 26" sammy for web development. I don't see why someone can't have two monitors... one for 3d gaming and the other for everything else and 2d gaming. I mean, usually when someone buys these new 120hz monitors, they still have their old ones.

I would love to be able to tell you about new monitors coming out, but unfortunately I can't. Trust me though, whenever we have new announcements we will be sure to get involved and let you guys know.

Isn't that kinda like, spilling the beans indirectly? :D

I wouldn't worry over-much... it would be absurd to think there aren't any new monitors coming out. :)

BTW Andrew, I couldn't get any feedback in the other forum ... are you aware of any software development kits ( SDK ) that third party developers can use to program for 3D Vision? I'd be very much interested in writing some 3D games and apps for this product. I'm hoping you guys have some libraries available in C++. I think it would be great to just minimally be able to take some stereoscopic photos and view them with this product.
