I have an Asus VG248QE monitor and I just bought 3d vision 2 glasses. I'm running an evga geforce 680 gtx and the Asus monitor is running on display port. My other two monitors are Samsungs which are running on the two dvi ports. The Asus monitor is the only 3d monitor. I tried setting up the 3d vision and nothing is coming out in 3d. The glasses are fully charged with a green light and the emitter is turned on with a green light on front and back. What am I doing wrong? I'm running windows 8 pro with 314.07 drivers.
One question that I have is does 3d support display port?

Think I found my answer dang it nvidia you tick me off. I have to spend a $100.00 for a dual link dvi to display port cable this sucks I think I might return these glasses unless someone knows where I can get the cable cheaper.

I've got the same monitor also got the vision 2 glasses kit with emitter and I'm also running Windows 8. My setup, however, is that the monitor is hooked up through DVI, and then I've got my TV hooked up via the HDMI. I don't have anything running on the Display port. I thought that displayport would be able to do it, but possibly not...might as well just try plugging in the DVI to see if that was the problem.
When you set everything up you ran the setup wizard right? Did nothing work during the wizard? (like the part where you close one eye and then the other, etc.) You could also try unplugging and replugging in the emitter. Resetting the computer. Also make sure in the Stereoscopic 3D section of the nvidia control panel you have the right monitor setup.
Also, did you install the drivers for the monitor from the disc that came with the monitor? To do that, put the disc in the drive, then go to device manager -> monitors -> then you should have a Generic PnP monitor or something so go into those properties and click to update the driver and say you know where the drivers are and point it to the disc drive.
Lots of things to try.

Do the samsungs ONLY have DVI ins? Your video card has 2 dvis, a display port, and an hdmi...surely one of the samsungs can take something other than DVI so you can use it on your 3d Asus?

I can run the setup but 3d doesnt work I just see double of everything. I also reinstalled the video card drivers and unplugged the emitter
