I don't think that monitor can handle Stereo 3D, it doesn't even do 120Hz. Please check the system requirements to find out what monitors work with 3D Vision.

I can't believe you are calling it a RETRO game.. It is less than 8 years old.... When I think Retro I think NES or SEGA era.....
I've been gaming since 1982 and I still think of KOTR as retro, it doesn't have wide screen support, and 8 years in gaming is 3 generations or so.
I play many older games with 3dvision quite well as long as they are direct X.

it looks like with the latest driver i'm getting some blue screen of death when exiting from some games and 3d vision is activated, error nvsyssomething.
it never happens with 3d vision off.

Hi All,
I buy a Certified 3DVisionReady DepthQ HDs3D-1 Projector.
I would like to use our DirectX professional applications with my nVidia 3DvisionKit, I have a nVidia-GeForce480 and nVidia-Quadro5800 and the last 260.99 driver.
All works but when I activate the 3DStereo with the 3DVision my eyes was inverted(flipped) on DepthQ HDs3D-1 Projector.
I try to use the Projector menu to invert sync but doesen't work, I try to search a function "invert eye" on the Nvidia Control Panel but doesen't exist.
What can I do? to invert the eye (Left/Right)?Now the only solution is mount the glasses on my eye flipped?!?! I can't use that on my office and client!
I try the same PC configuration connected at the last LG9800 LED 55" TV and all it's work fine, in the same way on my Samsun LCD Stereo PC Display.
The problem is the nVidiaDriver when recognise the DepthQ HDs3D-1 Projector and set in wrong mode the virtual camera.
We try, in our applications, to add a command linde with the nvidia function to SWAP the camera but doesen't work.
extendend info:
1) DVI to HDMI 1.4 original projector cable
2) Less then 2 meter
3) No, I haven't dual head or multi monitor setup connections, only projector
4) Yes, I try to uninstall all the nVidiaDriver (and 3D vision) and Reinstall everyting
5)I have the Samsung and LG55" TV nVidia3DReady display as well and all it's working fine, the display driver and hardware was ok, I think the problem is in the video Driver for DepthQ HDs-1 3DvisionReady

This is not a topic for technical help - start a topic specifically for your problem. Except you already did. Nobody answered, probably because we have no clue how to fix the problem.
Only fellow owners will answer questions in this forum. If you want help from NVIDIA then you need to go to their support page. Though, in this case, I think you would be better off calling up the projector company.

It would be awesome if an nvidia 3d vision developer came on these forums or a chatroom once a week and just talked with us, answering questions and taking feedback. Once every week for 30 minutes would be awesome.

I really think openGL support should be THE key concern for nvidia at the moment. I am a 4th year Mchem Chemistry student and my project is dedicated to solving the tar pit that is compatability between different hardware/software setups for running our 3d molecular modelling program. Since the modelling is coded to write to a back_left and back_right buffer it needs quad buffering/openGL. It works greatly with edimensional glasses etc but right now even on XP i'm having problems getting 3D vision to work with an FX570 (the glasses and emitter are working correctly).
There really is a giant market for 3d modelling and I think nvidia are handicapping themselves by not expanding into this area as quickly as possible.

The glasses work under XP!? I thought they only worked on Vista and later.
Have you looked into 3D Vision Pro? I think that does have OpenGL support.

3D Vision AND 3D Vision Pro both support OpenGL quad buffered stereo applications if you have a Quadro card (and yes under XP too).

Yes they work under XP, I've tested them on stereoscopic viewier with 3d images/movies and they work .... you just have to merge and install some files manually from the 3d vision folder it's quite easy. The stereoscopic viewers was also rendering in openGL, so aslong as you got a quadro card you're okay (to a point) .... which is what nvidia wants I suppose.

Hi Guys
I just need to know whether I can run 3D Vision with my Dell Vostro Dual Core which has Windows 7 and an 8600m GT, note that it is the laptop version. Just wanted confirmation from someone that its fine because I cant confirm it for definite anywhere , I know the desktop 8600 GT is fine from what I have read....
