I think the time has come, whenever we want it or not, where we have to choose between 2D or CM in certain titles...
I have no doubt in that question, it's CM or nothing at all :P
I have a rather huge backlog, of great AAA titles and never played them at all, Batman was one of them but that story ended happily, thanks to DHR. Soon more great titles will show up, either unfixable or they are performing so bad that they cant be played in geometry 3D...
We have a very good Guide from Helifax on how to tweak the profile, but other tweaks can come in handy.
How can we adjust a certain game to minimize the unavoidable eyesore, thats what I like to know :)
CM also has a few god things, you can turn all the eyecandy on and still have a fluid game, and if you find/tweak the right profile, there's no broken effects at all..
I'm sure most of you has some experience in CM gaming, and thats what I like to gather here..
Please, also post some pictures of your "perfect" CM game :)

Ghost Recon - Wildlands: CM profile AC Syndicate
I have just recently spend hours trying to make the game run with decent framerates in Geometry 3D, to no avail :/
So that was the turning point for me, so I spend some more hours to achieve the best possible result in CM.
One thing I learned real quickly is: Make the game SHINE, max it all out in higest possible resolution !!
Then you have to learn to focus your eyes on all the great stuff, and NOT on the blurry stuff, and suddenly I was gaming without even thinking about CM and such.
Another thing is - max out the fov in the game, that gives some distance from the screen to your character, thus making the blurry stuff less visible.
In this particular game, also aim over the shoulder, for the very same reason.
When aiming over shoulder, crank up the convergence untill it starts to get flat, and thats max you can get.
Here's some pictures, try look at them in fullscreen also, it's looking rather good actually :)

I already started to play in 2D!! not anymore..... much love to you.
Confirmed: Looks really good. Will try that Profile in FC5.
Any more tips for CM mode?
I did test several flags for 0x709adada in FC5, but the default one is the best already.
"Aiming over the shoulder" -- GREAT GREAT TIP!
What depth is that in the pictures?
Yes this game looks surprisingly good in CM.
In case if you didn't know:
You don't have to use the AC: Syndicate profile in order to use Compatibility Mode. It is sufficient to set this profile flag of Ghost Recon Wildlands via Nvidia Profile Inspector:
2DDHUDSettings = 0x10000102
So you can keep using the original profile and save an individual convergence value via CTRL + F7 to the profile. This is better than using the AC: profile for a lot of games.
With the latest update of 3D Fix Manager I've added Compatibility Mode support to the Wildlands profile automatically.

I tried this once but it didn't work for me. Changing 3D-Depth however worked but this is rather useless as you always need 100% 3D depth in CM.

As Paul says, no thats not possible, and in this game there is actually no need for it.
But you guys gave me an ide, which I have just tested briefly, some screens like the map, does not work very well in CM 3D, and as you said depht works in CM, so I copied over a 3dMigoto+d3dx.ini in the game and added:
[Key1]
Key = m
type=cycle
separation = 0, 100
transition = 100
transition_type = cosine
So now when pushing m and go to the map, it is 2D, just push m again on map exit, works perfect :)

I tried this one for FC5. But still can't make FC5 to work in CM.
If I use 100% Depth, weapon shoots to the right.
(Tested diff combos of FOV(thanks for the tip) and convergence.
Nothing really helps.
With 25% Depth, and 0 convergence, weapons shoot right,...but 3D is now nearly gone.
I managed to disable the weapons completely with 3DMigoto, so only red dot, but it's not pretty.
Too bad there is no "aiming over shoulder option".
This tip is like gold. Never used it really, it was not on my conscience anymore, due to the fact that "normally" I won't use it.

For a newbie (not to offend you) I'll advice you to try different profiles from games with CM, there you can easely compare the results.
The biggest problem with FC 5 is that it's in 1person, your hands are too close to the camera, it's allmost inpossible to get a decent result.
Play FC 4 for now, and let's hope that DSS will have a look some day.
If you insist on playing it now, then disabling hands and gun is a possible way, then you'll have to disable the gunsight as well, and just aim for the center of the screen. or use NVidias crosshair.

Nvidia added CM to the driver profile of Far Cry 5 some time ago. It uses the same settings as AC Syndicate. Nvidia also noticed that doing a copy paste from syndicate profile often works ;).
Don't understand why you can't make CM work in Far Cry 5 since it's supported out of the box? Maybe you're using very old graphics drivers or not using Nvidia Profile Inspector?

You are SURE it works with 100% depth, have you tried to shot a specific spot on a wall?
I put in a old Windows Backup, before I started to mess around with 3D.
Used DDU in safemode and installed newest Driver again.
Also reinstalled FC5.
When I start the game it starts with 100% Depth and a bit of convergence.
There is a big halo around the weapon.(I guess normal)
If I use the weapon(Pistol or AR) it shoots waaaay to the right. 10 Meter distance. About 3 full "heads" to the right.
If I put convergence to 0, it shoots only 0.5 "heads" to the right...further away, worse of course.
When I use 25% depth, everything is fine, but of course, I nearly lost 3D now.
Anybody knows a solution?
Also it still doesn't save screenshots in 3D with Alt+f1...only png in Videos/gamename/*.png
Can someone post that portion of the registry PLEASE?
Maybe there lies the problem.

set it to 300% with the depth hack it realy shines on

I don't have this problem here thus I did have this on another game, Try DDU and reinstall driver
http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/chtiblue/album/530b52d4cb85770d6e000049/3Dvision with 49" Philips 49PUS7100 interlieved 3D (3840x2160) overide mode, GTX 1080 GFA2 EXOC, core i5 @4.3GHz, 16Gb@2130, windows 7&10 64bit, Dolby Atmos 5.1.4 Marantz 6010 AVR
And ... predator mission!!! they did it
You are SURE it works with 100% depth, have you tried to shot a specific spot on a wall?

I recommend to use more depth with CM likeset it to 300% with the depth hack it realy shines on
a big screen. With the batch file its easy to use.
