Need help running Citra in 3D with 3D Vision
Hi. I want to run Citra emulator in 3D but it doesn't work. It just shows me 2 screens side by side. I saw this thread: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1056838/3d-vision/citra-emulator-now-with-native-3d-support/ but it doesn't explain how to get it running. Seems like a thread aimed at those already familiar with 3D Vision mods and tools but I just use 3D Vision to watch movies with PowerDVD so I have no idea how to use the tools mentioned. Could anyone point me to a tutorial or something to get this to work? Thanks.

You can use a side by side to interlaced shader with reshade to convert the image to passive 3D. This is what I did on my LG C6 and it was beautiful. A few links: https://github.com/BlueSkyDefender/Depth3D/blob/master/Shaders/3DToElse.fx https://reshade.me/forum/shader-presentation/3992-sbstointerlaced4k-side-by-side-to-interlace-3d

Perhaps you could mention what Display you are using? Or even driver version, GPU and OS?

@danjrowe27: Thanks for the links but how do I use all that with Citra? @D-Man11: Monitor: Asus VG248QE. Driver: 388.13, GPU: GeForce GTX970, OS: Windows 8.1

Well then unfortunately, this applies to you
This, right?: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/pull/3632 Sucks that normal 3D Vision users like me can't use that :(. Quad buffer stereo being dead on Windows 10 doesn't help either. If RetroArch could be running in DX11 while having an emulator running in OpenGL inside of it, a fix could be done to adapt it to 3D Vision. But that combination doesn't work, at least for the moment.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________ You'll need to use a HDMI 1.4 compliant 3D HDTV it seems

I should have been a little clearer. That was a "AFAIK" post I made That was posted on 05/26/2018 by masterotaku I doubt anything has changed, though The SuperDepth3D shaders mentioned above, do not offer 3D Vision support.

Perhaps someone knowledgeable could chime in on the github page for 3D on how to hook into 3D Vision for OpenGL https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/issues/4255 https://citra-emu.org/entry/improvements-to-hardware-renderer/
