Can't get 3D Vision You Tube to work
  2 / 2
Same here, I can't watch 3d videos in youtube, it doesn't give me any options and keeps the rendering mode in two cameras side by side. The 3d videos on 3dvisionlive work, but as soon as I click on Youtube3D it says: "Your system is not correctly configured. Please visit this link for further instruction". When I do this in Internet explorer it tells me my hardware checks out, but I should use Mozilla Firefox. Then I downloaded FireFox and it says I have to update my drivers, which doesn't make sense, because obviously I'm running a version higher than 275.25. Why isn't anyone updating the site or supporting this anymore?

Isn't it pathetic how a multi-billion-dollar company consistently is unable to set a 3D playback standard for youtube and get it to work reliably for everyone across all platforms ? 3D youtube Playback also stopped to work for me a couple of days ago and considering for how long youtube is offering the "3D" option, it becomes harder and harder to believe that google/youtube is that remarkably incompetent... It almost looks as if this is done on purpose... perhaps because of tactical business decisions... no other explanation comes to my mind why someone would deliberately stall the spread of such an amazing technology with such determination for so many years already...

Maybe somebody will find it useful: I had this side-by-side-only problem and solved it by going to about:config page and turning layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled to false, then restarting the browser. It has been the issue since Firefox 33 as this option has then been enabled by default. For example this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSNoFLPFn9M works for me in Firefox 35 (only at 360p though). If it doesn't help, you can also try to disable and then re-enable the 3d vision plugins (on my PC there are two of them installed).

Thank you @JGondek This just worked for me! You're a hero. I have a ticket open with NVidia (through their chat system) so I will forward this to them. Hopefully this helps others. I will also post it to the Google Youtube and try to find the right Firefox forum/bug report to send it in to. NOW I just need to figure out how to get new videos up into Youtube so that they work with HTML5. The other modes work but HTML5 isn't flipping over like it does for other videos. Maybe transcoding isn't working right on their end? I'll try and find the right webm transcode before upping it. If anyone has suggestions I have it posted here Nvidia Stereo Test App 1080P HalfSBS captured with ShadowPlay https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ch140fVwKuY&feature=html5_3d But that's off-topic ... Playing known good videos from the olden days is working for me now. Run Firefox and in the address bar type or paste ... about:config ... and hit Enter, then after the warning page type layers.off in the search bar, double-click layers.offmainthreadcomposition.enabled to toggle it to false and restart your browser. Edit:[s]... didn't work for me though, still getting SBS on HTML 5 Stereo View.[/s] ... worked after I closed an incognito window ... Lol. B)
