Your Gaming Setup
  1 / 2
I was wondering what kinda gaming setup your guys having Because 3d Vision is a bit complicated , would be fun to see the crazy setups with pj`s \ multiple screens and different audio setups. Also great for idea`s , and for me something to see/do Broken collarbone so yeah bored as hell....

BenQ HT1075 (120Hz @ 720p / 60Hz @ 1080p - can't wait for 120Hz 1080p DLP) Infinity Primus towers I got cheap on Craigslist, since moved outwards more, with grills on - not bad for a few hundred bucks for all 5 with Velodyne 12" sub...powered by a decent, older Marantz with 5.1 I got free. Sound absorption on ceiling and walls behind curtains which help absorb light... Decent, couple year old gaming PC I built...PS4 I never use... And I'm only browsing today and decided to join because I wanted to play GZ3Doom - but apparently Windows 10 killed Quad Buffered OpenGL so I can't :(. I hardly use 3D vision anymore, a lot in the first few months I had it - but it seems to get less and less support with VR stealing the show...and I got that too, a Vive, but I never use it anymore either lol. heres a dropbox link to a photo of my setup. This is an older photo I now have 3 27 inch rogswifts in surround. The cockpit is the primary reason, I will never be caught dead using a TV. https://www.dropbox.com/s/i5dsxlzc09v10d4/2014-09-09%2001.05.18.jpg?dl=0

That's amazing The_Nephilim! Are you using a special lens so that the focus is clear on all areas of the curve?

Nthusiasm warping software, unless he's changed it Unforunately, warpalizing does degrade the image slightly and can't be avoided.

yes I use nThusim still it does degrade the image a bit but with the glasses and 3D on it looks amazing.. @Energycorse, The Only FPS shooter I know the Track IR works in Is the Arma2-3 series.. there may be others but Arma3 is the one I play..

Here's some pics of his prior setup, before he went with a curved screen and warping software. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/502080/nvidia-surround/anyone-got-3d-surround-with-three-projectors/post/3584074/#3584074 The curved screen is is definitely better aesthetically and probably better game play wise, I would think. It's just too bad that Simultaneous Multi-Projection and Single Pass Stereo were not around in 2009 and it's sad to think that they probably well never find their way into 3D Vision Surround.

Samsung is releasing a 48 inch 32:9 monitor that will be capable of 3840x1080 at a rumored 144Hz refresh, along with options for AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-sync. If this works in 3D, a lot of sim enthusiasts will be very happy. I found the link to The_Nephilim's thread were he has pics of his curved screen project. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/757740/ There's also FireBallOne's setup, his website http://www.simpit.co.nz/ As well as his photos https://www.facebook.com/simpittech/photos_stream?ref=page_internal Note: 2 Display surround is only supported on Maxwell and Pascal GPUs in the current drivers. Previously, it was only supported on Lagacy drivers using Windows XP (on the consumer side)

Warping indeed degrades the image some but if done with quality hardware the difference to lense made is really little and the lenses would cost ridicilous sum especially if you need more than one that there really no point going the lense way if you Are not a miljonare. And the warped screen is beneficiary so if you can hack it ill say go with the warped wall. I made my curved 125" from aluminium. Cut it to measure then i had the top and bottom rods bended to specific radius At workshop, assembled it home and added a screen material and sprayed.

I just randomly came across a link to a case mod in the forums, it now shows pictures of this guys flight sim setup. https://www.flickr.com/photos/steampunkfrankenstein It would be crazy if the ejection seat was actually fully functional.

Wow! Did expect some nice setups, but your guys setups are AWESome! Love the complete simr setups/curved screens etc also i was wandering (bit stupid idea), would it be possible to use a projector aimed at the ground as "ambilight" for game`s or better just render the floors/ camera down view? @D-Man11 How awesome if it would be combined with a D-box system
