Any 3dvision Conflicts with Tridef to worry about?
Hey guys, was about to download Tridef for the first time, as I've pretty much only been using Nvidia's 3d solutions (or in-game) so far. I'm worried that there might be some kind of conflict between The Nvidia and Tridef 3d implementations if they're both installed at the same time. Anything in particular I should be worried about? Do they more or less play nice, should I expect to fight them for hours or days trying to get them to cooperate, or somewhere in-between? Thanks for any info.

Yea, pretty much play nice. You turn games on with tridef interface so dont have to worry about it.
The problem is you need side by side or top and bottom on your display [not framepacking/standard that 3d vision uses]
I've heard of Tridef disabling 3d vision under some circumstances, requiring a driver reinstall or registry tweak to restore. Nothing too serious though.

Ahh crap, does that mean I'd have to switch to a monitor with side-by-side built in? I have one of those 24 inch sony 3d monitors that they were pushing for ps3 a year or two back, it's on my old desktop. It has top/bottom and side by side. But I'd much rather stick with my Asus Vg278, just for the size of the monitor.
Sorry I've never messed with the side-by-side stuff much, does that mean I'd have to switch to the other monitor, or is there a way to attain it through settings with the Asus?
Good to hear they play nice, though.

Yes Tridef doesn't use frame packing and while some DX9 games can work with Tridef running on 3D vision anything greater than DX9 will not function on the 3D vision (unless this has changed recently). You will need to more or less turn to a monitor that supports sbs.
