@didierh
In the d3dx.ini remove the ; in front from this line and try:
;hook=deferred_contexts except_set_shader_resources
like this:
hook=deferred_contexts except_set_shader_resources
I already commented the other line that produce the black screen using win10.
@ DHR
I had indeed read your comment and already tried this change (forgot to talk about it in my last post, sorry), but that doesn't change anything, game still not launching ...

I tested the game in windows 10 and have the same problem as diderh if I use an older version of the d3d11.dll it loads but it's broken.
@diderh
Are you using an insider's build ?
@zig11727 / didierh
Can you replace the d3d11.dll and nvapi64.dll from the one shipped in the 3Dmigoto 1.2.34. (x64 version)
The game was shipped originally with this version...if works before, should work now.
In this update i also update the wrapper to 1.2.41....maybe is that.

If this don't work, i don't know what else to try. I don't have win10 to test.....the previous version of the fix use 1.2.34.
sorry DHR, nothing to do, did not work :-( ...thanks anyway for the help :-) I will investigate somewhere else...no stress, there are so other games on the fire waiting to be played :-)

Yes you are right the dxd11.dll is 32 bit and your fix is not enabled. My mistake but it strange how the other fixies work and this doesn't.
I wish they would fix the stuttering It's amazing how Mad Max is smooth and this unplayable.
Is some one else have crashes when battle for new cities ?

Should be no noticeable difference between 1.2.34 and 1.2.41. Most likely they changed the game launching characteristics too. If you remember, this game would crash at launch with any 3Dmigoto.
For people who refuse to dual boot Win7, try to experiment with the allow_* and hook_* options in the d3dx.ini, it's possible something there will work.

Yep...maybe trying to enable one by one those lines in the d3dx.ini
In the release, all those lines are commmented.
;allow_check_interface=1
;allow_dxgi1_2=1
;allow_create_device=2
@DHR, Thank You :-)
@bo3b, Ya, I haven't set up my system restore settings, kinda pissed I didn't set this up a long time ago like you recommended!
Anyway, the original/previous fix worked on these machines:
Win 7 Pro, benqx3 (5960x1080 - surround/bezel corrected), 3x980ti, 365.19
Win 10 Pro, h5360 (1920x1080 - old way of creating res), 3x980, 368.69
--On the Win7 - new fix - the game will run fine as long as I don't move. As soon as I start moving through the landscape, loading new scenery, after about 30 seconds the video crashes to black screen. Reboot.
just for the heck of it, tried the previous wrapper 1.2.34, and no difference.
Also, tried uncommenting the lines:
;allow_check_interface=1
;allow_dxgi1_2=1
No difference.
Please note in the d3dx.ini, there is no line:
;allow_create_device=2
I added it, uncommented, but no difference.
--On the Win10 - new fix - Starting the game just gives a black screen for about 1 second, then the loading process stops. No real crash, the game never starts.
Also, tried uncommenting the lines:
;allow_check_interface=1
;allow_dxgi1_2=1
No change, game starts and just stops.
Then, I added the line:
allow_create_device=2
So, we had:
allow_check_interface=1
allow_dxgi1_2=1
allow_create_device=2
Here, the game would start and all shaders fixed, however, same situation as the Win7 box. As long as I don't move, the game runs fine, but as soon as I start moving, creating new scenery, after about 30 seconds, the game crashes, just like the Win7 Box.
However, there was a dialogue box that popped up that I could see:

-fyi, I play on Win 7 98% of the time ;-)
Wish I could help with testing, but leaving town again... :-(
Not sure if there is a clue here or just worthless babble, but thought I'd pass it on anyway :-)
Take care and thanks for all you do,
