I had a chance to play with it a bit and found a few things:

1) DX11 runtime is not recognized as 3D Vision Ready even though the 3DV drivers have claimed support since March or so. Renaming the .exe to LP2DX9.exe (rename LP2DX9 to something else first) fixes this, which is unfortunately necessary as the 3D Stereo profiles are not exposed afaik like the regular NVCP profile settings like AA and SLI. If anyone knows of a way to fix this or edit 3D Stereo profiles that'd be great info.

2) There is no NVCP profile for this game in the 259.32 drivers, so you can try creating one or just adding the LP2 .exes to the existing Lost Planet 1 profiles. I went ahead and copied the new .exes to the existing Lost Planet1 profile and also changed the DX10/11 SLI compatibility flag to the defaulted used in Metro2033, then imported it with the SLI Tool:
Add these two lines:
Executable "LP2DX9.exe"
Executable "LP2DX11.exe"
and change the bolded portion:
Setting ID_0x00a06946 = 0x080000f5
Works pretty well, but I think I can get even better performance out of the SLI profile, will keep tweaking it.
3D Vision Ready support is pretty good though once you make these changes. Convergence is adjustable, and adjusts very quickly/obviously. Target reticle is 3D, although there are some issues with dynamic depth compensation, even your own character's avatar seems like it can shift the target depth at times and definitely anything in the near-field, like trees/branches. There's also a pretty cool little wireframe easter egg if you press F1, discovered this after taking a few screenshots. Game looks OK, very similar to the original just a lot more going on with more allies/NPCs making it seem like the scope of the game is bigger. Art direction is typical JP-anime style, looks like a bunch of samurai with guns. Here's a pic or two to whet your appetites:

OK so I goofed around a bit more and found there's no better option for performance with DX11 SLI compatibility, here's the ones I tested. I checked all the other Capcom MT framework engine games like LP, Bionic Commando, Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry 5 (SF4 is DX9 only) and all of their profiles were worst. Also tried a bunch of others and found results to be worst too, you can see the results below, the #s after the DX10/11 flag are the FPS I got:

Looks like tesselation, DX11 softshadows, and a soft body (water, heat blob?) simulation are all in there using DX11. I toggled the SLI and 3D Stereo flags but they did not seem to improve anything.

There is SLI profile update now

Not sure if its any different to what you posted chiz :)

The DX9 benchmark runs great after the SLI update and with 3D Vision enabled. The DX11 benchmark, however, locks up. Apparently I am not the only one having this problem as I have read that not only is there a problem with SLI, ATI users are having the same issue with Crossfire enabled. Disabling SLI in the control panel fixes this but then the performance is not as good.

Strange, DX11 runs great for me with SLI in both S3D and without. Did you check out some of the steps I had listed above? Also if you have the SLI profile tool, can you export it and check what SLI flag Nvidia is using for Lost Planet 2 DX11?
It should be:
Setting ID_0x00a06946 = 0x080000f5
You can also try the EVGA Version, which I just downloaded and ran and uses the same DX10/11 SLI flag: http://www.evga.com/articles/00463/
The only other thing I can think of is that you need the S3D profile in order to get SLI to run correctly, but in order to do so you need to rename "LPDX11.exe" to "LPDX9.exe" to get it to be recognized as 3D Vision Ready, because there is no profile in place in the S3D Drivers for the DX11 runtime.
Here's a link to the benchmark running DX11 happily in SLI: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_17XgADWp8
I tried capturing stereoscopic footage for LP2, but it saves to Interlaced and apparently Youtube can't transcode that into 3D.

I figured out what was causing the DX11 benchmark to crash. Apparently it does not like AA set to 8XCSAA. Dropping it down to 4XMSAA made it run without any issues. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't run with 8xCSAA but at least I am not concerned with purchasing the game now. I scored 35.1 on Test A and 33.5 on Test B. This was with everything on high and AA set to 4xMSAA - I have 16X for AF forced through the control panel. This is with 3D Vision enabled by the way. On the DX9 test I am at 59ish on both tests and basically pegged at the frame rate maximum of 60 with 3D Vision enabled and using 8xCSAA, all settings max.
I figured out what was causing the DX11 benchmark to crash. Apparently it does not like AA set to 8XCSAA. Dropping it down to 4XMSAA made it run without any issues.

Looks like tesselation, DX11 softshadows, and a soft body (water, heat blob?) simulation are all in there using DX11. I toggled the SLI and 3D Stereo flags but they did not seem to improve anything.
