Help me enable my Alienware 2310 for 120hz Shouldn't be this hard...
I am running a i7 920 2.66ghz HP Pavilion elite. I've upgraded the ram to 24gb. The video card is a Nvidia quadro fx 4800. I have installed the geforce 3d vision software with the quadro 3d usb drivers. Hooked up the ir emitter and monitor as instructed. I have an Alienware Optx 2310. I run the wizard and when it get's to the test it it gives me the warning that I'm in a bad steroscopic mode. I can't find anywhere to change the refresh rate for my monitor to 120hz. 75hz is the highest choice I have. I have been messing with this system forever it seems. It has brought me here looking for any insight as to what the problem may be. I'm overlooking something or something is not right with my system. If you have any insight you could share with me that would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I had to download and install the driver for my 2310 monitor from the website to get Windows to detect it properly. It's worth a shot if you haven't tried that already.

Have you set your screen resolution to the native resolution of the panel?

I had the same issue with my OptX 2310... I tried using a DVI-to-HDMI cable and it wouldn't let me switch to 120Hz. So i tried the DVI cable that came with the monitor and it worked.
