We all know how much of a pain it is to have to go through the whole 3D Vision setup every time there's a driver update. So I'm wondering if anyone might have a .reg file that I can just import after a driver install so I can avoid having to do the whole setup again.
Sorry if this has been posted before. I confess to my laziness in searching through the threads.

The easiest way is to export your settings prior to another install.
Just run regedit, goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D (for x64, omit Wow6432Node\ for x86), right-click on 'Stereo3D' and Export.

I have no such file myself and i think it depends a little on hardware used if the same registrysettings can be used between different machines. Anyhow: you can make your own:
Run regedit. Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation. Right click whatever you want to backup, even the whole "NVIDIA Corporation" if you like and press export. Name file as "*.reg".
You can edit the resulting reg-file to get rid of unwanted entries.
If nvidia changes something in the registrystructure with a driverupdate, then you may be forced to do this whole procedure once again (or just a clean install with the following setup).
Edit: TsaebehT sneaked in between! :p

The batch file is better than save/restore, because it will also now hit the check box to enable 3D, and set other parameters like the snapshot jpeg compression.
Just used it recently it and it still works. Works on x32 and x64.
BTW: NVidia's forum search is totally lame, but Google, now those guys know something about search.
To search the forum easily, use 'site' like this on google:
"site:forums.geforce.com registry edit driver install 3d vision"

Thanks again Bo3b for the very helpful little file (you recently recommended it to me on the AC4 thread).
It works perfectly, and makes changing drivers a breeze. Due to nvidia's lack of user options, the setting up of hotkeys, snapshot quality etc, after each driver change was much longer than the actual driver install.
You have saved me at least 5-10 minutes each time. Thank you!
