Confused: is there a Helix DX11 wrapper?

I don't think you should pull the campaign. I'd like to see them both succeed. Maybe we should discuss this on the thread for the campaign though? Back on topic - Helix, can you release a beta of the debug version? I don't know how to fix shaders at all, but I'd love to start going through AC3 and identifying what needs to be fixed to help out those who can. Who knows, I might even be able to make it playable by killing off some shaders/effects, it looks like killing shadows might resolve 80% of the problems with it.

This is quite amazing news. If anyone has yet to play bioshock and complete it, i really advise to hold your horses. Wait until the 3D is ready to play virtually bug free. Save the bug testing to people who have already played it. I will check this out later when I have time. Helix, would it be useful to you to create a all known bugs page, so that it's all on one post? Also, save files can be exchanged (they are all in the bsi folder) it seems like every single autosave is there.

By keeping a secret I mean: There was this one post were you indicated that you we're possibly working on a wrapper this summer, but to me it was kind of vague, and I wasn't even sure if it was even possible to create a new wrapper. And I couldn't find anything about it on your site, and it's impossible to read every post here ;-). so maybe it was common knowledge, but I missed it then.

As far as I'm concerned: Don't stop the campaign! It thought it was a great idea to start it on Indigogo because as a 3D gamer it felt great to be able to do (indirectly) something for the 3D community myself. I know sh*t about shaders and stuff, but I DO know how to donate money! I wish I could donate some coins to Helix as well, but unfortunately he doesn't want that (or he's already rich :-))

Anyways, my personal suggestion would be: wait how much money gets raised and if it's not enough, donate the last bit yourself so you can collect what already has been donated and release the wrapper for public use. THIS, ive been waiting an ac3 fix for quite some time now. Donated to chiri and elbarterinos project just for the sake of ac3 possibly being fixed. Tridef power3d is noot good enough, and real 3d is just too resource heavy. Might be the case with 3d vision fix too. I havent really tested how much fps i get 3d vision enabled in boston for example.

THIS toooo ! I played every AC game, and i have AC3 installed on my HDD from November 2012 almost untouched (very first Boston stage). ¡Big play sessions incoming!

Glad I've held off on BI (playing, not donating. It's great that another talented modder is trying to solve this issue). As to Helix... *bow* Just know you're loved and appreciated by the 3D community.

If they managed to achieve this so far, it means that the wrappers are fully functional;)) and all that remains is finding the correct shaders;)). Ofc usability side you can always ADD stuff to make it more easier to use;)) but by judging from the movies (IndigoMod) and actual gameplay (HelixMod) I can safely say the core functionality of hooking the DX11 calls and intercepting+ "dumping" the shaders is complete;) + the ability to PUMP them back up;)) As a side note I am really really interested on how they did this! (From the academic point og view + practical, etc) ;)) I would really love if either Helix or Chiri could point me in the right direction of documents/ books (whatever) to read and learn;))

I think neither of the wrappers are actually beta, but the fixes are.
