Thanks for the info! Just out of interest. Which drivers are you using for MK11 DJ-RK? Before I fired the game up for the first time yesterday I wanted to go in prepared and updated to the newest driver which actually is optimized specifically for MK 11. What a shock when I saw that the "Stereoscopic 3D"-section was missing. So it seems - just like announced - Nvidia dropped 3D Vision support with the MK11-driver. What a sad coincidence! So I rolled back to drivers 425.31. Unfortunately the game now is running in slow-motion when I am playing on my LG 4K OLED. A quick look at various forums suggests that you need to use the newest driver to get rid of this problem. This of course is no option for us 3D Vision users as the newest driver no longer supports 3D Vision!

Yes, I hate NVIDIA for this decision...

Found a solution! The slow-motion is gone when you activate the Frame Skipping under the options-tab. This allows the game to skip some frames to avoid FPS-loss!

Weird, I don't have that issue, and I'm on 425.31 and not running with frame skipping. Furthermore, I even updated to the latest driver last night (knowing it wouldn't have the 3DVision driver) just to get the MK11 driver profile so I could add the settings to my fix, and then I rolled back to 425.31 after that (which is quite similar to what you've done). Did you make sure to use DDU when you uninstalled the latest Nvidia driver? If not, I'd highly recommend doing that now and reinstalling 425.31, because running with frame skipping is not ideal.

I only have this issue when playig on my LG 4K OLED in 3D Vision. When playing on my 3D Vision monitor in 1080p everything runs normally. So maybe everything maxed plus 4K plus 3D Vision is a little bit too much for my single Titan X Pascal. With frame skipping enabled it runs like a charme so no problem...
So here's an initial WIP. Most in game effects are fixed now (even ground reflections this time), except for volumetric lighting (need a bit more time for that). Have adjusted HUD elements to depth (disable HUD with F1, adjust HUD depth via F2) and have also added automatic convergence reduction on Fatal Blows and Fatalities (not sure about Krushing Blows yet since I haven't triggered any). Download: https://www.mediafire.com/file/bca3yhavfg767s7/MK11_WIP.zip Edit: Make sure to disable Motion Blur and TAA in the games Graphics options menu. Redownload it. The fix was broken for a long time but I updated it about a month or two ago.
Thank you very much It was completely different after I installed your new file.

Very much appreciated! Helps a lot since I didn't get called into work this week (which I didn't mind so much since it gave me time to play!). Hope you enjoy it as much as I have so far. On that note, I've played through the story and been grinding some of the towers. Haven't explored much of the krypt yet (only went in to do my daily achievement of opening 2 chests so far), but that's what I'll be looking at doing next with my time in the game. But now that I've had a few days to just play and enjoy, I'll start looking at fixing the remaining stuff, mostly being volumetric lighting, fog, and a few other character effects I've noticed like Raiden's lightning glow and a halo during Sub-Zero's default entrance. That and I may see if I can get some help with getting the auto-convergence shader working, which is a huge stretch goal.

I haven't really started playing any vs matches yet, but would possibly be up for a few more friendly, less competitive matches against people, so my steam ID is D'Shanz, so you're welcome to add me for some matches. Had a very slow work week last week and so I only got paid for one day this week, so that helps keep me going until next week! Cheers. About additional progress on the fix, well, sorry guys, haven't had the time or energy to try. Think I'm going to spend a bit of time this evening, though, since I just freed up some time for myself. Hoping to get this up to the blog soon, but would really feel better if I fixed the remaining few things first.

Ok, so I've made some pretty good progress since yesterday. I believe I've fixed all remaining in-fight issues. Still have not started exploring the Krypt, so I'm uncertain if anything remains there. I'll be exploring that a bit later today, but I'll post up a 2nd WIP in the meantime in case I get sidetracked or need to spend a bit more time on the fix if I find anything in the Krypt. Fixed in this version: -Volumetric fog & lighting -All other lighting reflections that were missed by the first fix -Some additional halos (eg. SubZero's default entrance) UI changes: -Have now set the default convergence during fights up to 500 (previously 300) for better 3D effect. Fighters should now be at screen depth instead of slightly into the screen, and some foreground stage elements now have a slight pop out effect. -Have set the default HUD to 0 depth rather than 25% depth to align better with the new convergence value during fights. Can adjust HUD to your own preference by using the F2 key. (F1 key disables HUD) -Have created an additional key on F3 which disables the volumetric lighting (aka god rays) on the Sea of Blood stage, since I find it somewhat distracting. It's left enabled by default. Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/l38t5fi63x62tkc/MK11_WIP2.zip

So started checking out the Krypt, [s]and first thing I've found is that there is somehow VERY little depth. Can't really go much higher than 20 convergence either before things start getting uncomfortable. Anyone else found this as well?[/s] Edit: Found the cause of the low depth issue. Was due to a shader being "fixed" by one of the standard regexes. Have full depth in Krypt mode now. Will be in next fix version. Also, the god rays coming from the moon use the same shader as the one in the Sea of Blood, and unfortunately the fix for that isn't perfect. I use the exact same fixing formula as is needed for all Unreal Engine 3 games, but this game is obviously different. Have tried a few different approaches, but so far none have panned out to be perfect. In the meantime, anyone exploring the Krypt will probably want to make use of the F3 key I set up with toggles off god rays until I hopefully figure out a korrect fix for that. Also, the green glow on the Shao Khan chests look broken when up close, but are actually korrect. Just that the game doesn't render the glow on top of the chest, but slightly inside it, which makes it look off. Noticed the same thing with the headlight on the train in the Black Dragon Market Alley stage. Kinda minor, so probably won't really spend much more time on these.
