Antique HMD I-Glasses Using the drivers with other hardware.
Ok I have a pair of old I-glasses (this a 3d HMD headset) I wanted to see if the drivers would work with them. (from what I remember they put even frames on one eye and odd frames on the other.

I updated my video driver and then installed the 3d Stereoscopic driver. But I was not able to bring up the wizard or enable it. Trying to enable it just showed the medical test with no way out but ESC. I found some registry edit instructions that would get around the med test but when i went to the place the entries should be in the registry nothing was there.

I then rebooted and then had a black region in the upper right of my screen that had no video. I then uninstalled the driver and rebooted my system to normal.

Questions:

1) I am using a 8600GT with Vista64. Will the driver work with this hardware set?

2) Does the driver support alternating frames to a 640x480 display or specificly whatever format the i-glasses HMD uses?

3) If I buy a new VR920 from Vuzix will it work with this driver and my hardware?

4) Does anyone know if this driver works with 3D animation and modeling applications like Poser, Vue, and Lightwave? By this I mean would i be able to model with a 3d view window in addition to the 3 view pane method.

5) Can I use the second display as the HMD in 3d mode and leave my primary display running as normal?
