Not obvious to me. Can a stock LG LCD flat screen run 3D?
Can my 47" LG 1080p, 120khz LCD HD TV run Skyrim in 3D, if I purchase the infrared transmitter and glasses while already having a compatible GTX card in my computer and can run the game normally?

Hmmm, i opened my nvidia Control panel and now only have the options about 3d, and see 3d discover...so that's just the red and blue glasses from the 1950s? I remember anaglyph when researching 3d live action porn...didn't add much to the experience, btw.
There r no choices about how to run the card with a specific game, game default/card default, like the control panel used to have, before i updated to the latest drivers for the gtx 260, so I'm confused. Will wait a few days for my gtx 570 and see if the better card has those options back...
Should I just get a 22-24" compatible screen, forego playing like i have been 5' from my 47" screen, and remove my laptop from my desk, (my tower is the i7/gtx 260/[570]), sit down 16-18" from it and 3d game from there? I know there's a formula somewhere for size/distance...the tower is very quiet since its on the other side of a wall when I run it though the flatscreen.
SLI two 570s looks like it gives about a 50% increase in performance for 100% increase in cost, if I'm understanding the game benchmarking going on...I'm I wrong?

Can get a small screen for 1080p at high hz.
A huge projector for 720p at high hz.(Wont have to upgrade video cards as often.
A 3d tv for 720p at high hz.
Choice is yours.
SLI can give at MAX 50% upgrade in performance if it works perfectly. Don't expect higher then that. Dont expect to play any 3d games made this year on a single 570 though unless direct console port. If you want to stay at a 570 720p 3d is your best option. I run a single 580 and can play arkham maxed but have to turn physx completely off. If you got room I recommend a DLP projector like an acer 5360. I tried a 3d tv and monitor and its my favorite. Keep in mind if you plan to be playing games in 1080p 3d you will constantly need to upgrade video cards. Its equal to running 1080x1920x2.

Thanks for the few pointers.
