Going from ASUS VG248QE surround to Dell S2716DG, worth it?
Has anyone had experience with both monitors? I'm considering the switch because the pixel inversion in 3D sometimes bothers me and surround is just kind of nice to have rather than need to have. How the crosstalk and pixel inversion compares between the 2 monitors is very important to me. If anyone could comment on the 2, it would be much appreciated.

Gigabyte Gaming 5 Z170X, i7-6700K @ 4.4ghz, Asus GTX 2080 ti Strix OC , 16gb DDR4 Corsair Vengence 2666, LG 60uh8500 and 49ub8500 passive 4K 3D EDID, Dell S2716DG.
I personally witness a lot of crosstalk (another word for ghosting, right?) in my Dell 2716DG in 3D mode, but it's the only 3D monitor I've ever used, so I can't compare it to anything else. Despite the ghosting, I'm really enjoying games in 3D vision.

If you are concerned about crosstalk and pixel inversion, you should precisely NOT get this Dell monitor (or any other monitor at all).
I've heard that crosstalk is worse in the BenQ XL2411Z (my previous monitor) than in the Asus VG248QE. And it's worse in the Dell compared to the BenQ (it also has vertical scanlines pattern, caused by pixel inversion). The extra resolution is nice, though.
The Asus VG248QE is supposedly the best 3D Vision 2 monitor regarding crosstalk (I don't have it, but someone else told me it's a lot better than the BenQ monitors).

Nice, thanks a lot for the info. I'll stick with surround then and spend a couple hours getting the colors on the monitors to match. That's been pretty tough so far.

Even that had significant cross talk. But yes, my new monitor is worse. I just learn to live with it I guess.

I honestly don't find the ASUS' crosstalk bad at all. It does better than any active 3DTV I've seen. How do they compare in pixel inversion?
I do not consider it bad on the VG248QE but it's there.
I am still coming to terms what exactly is meant by "Pixel Inversion." I either have no idea what it is, or never experienced or ever noticed it.
