Finally got around to ME3. I installed Helix's mod and everything looks great..... except I can't seem to find a combination of settings that make the crosshair the same depth as whatever I am targeting.
I'm just wondering if I am trying to reach a goal that is actually not obtainable or should I keep trying to tweek?
Has anyone actually cracked this nut?

There are lots of factors tbh. Some people might have trouble with crosshairs since its a "estimate." Anywho
Find the 44D42C54.txt vertex shader
change this line "def c200, 0.8, 1.0, 0.0625, 0.0"
to reduce the depth
change to "def c200, 0.7, 1.0, 0.0625, 0.0"
to increase the depth
Find the 44D42C54.txt vertex shader
- change this line "def c200, 0.9, 1.0, 0.0625, 0.0"
TO DISABLE CROSSHAIR
Find the 44D42C54.txt vertex shader
- change this line "def c200, 10000000, 1.0, 0.0625, 0.0"
--------------------
Edit: Oh wait your on surround.
Helifax says something is up for surround. Change this line
def c200, 0.8, 1.0, 0.0625, 0.0
to
def c200, 2.4, 1.0, 0.0625, 0.0

Thanks a ton. Disabling the crosshair and using the laser crosshair works great for me and enables me to play in Surround 3D without a hitch.
Theres a script if interested that will make laser sight only appear when Right click is activated. Personally I'd rather use no laser sight but I've kind of adapted to no crosshair over the years.

You know, funny this has come up again, but the last time I installed new drivers and went through the whole script setup again, I could never get it to work. A by-product of the script is that the NVidia screen prompts disappear, right? Well, for some reason, the .dll file NEVER overwrote the one in the driver package. I finally gave up. Weird, right? I'm just curious if this has been an issue anyone else has observed.

I couldnt say because I'd rather go not at all then use lasersight though I like new static version. Not sure if its old/new info or what but someone mentioned new information about it a month ago so I assume some people still use the method *shrug*.
