I tried this last night but couldn't change the convergence (everything looked to be at pretty much the same depth, even objects in the distance). I'd not updated to the beta drivers, would that have have been the cause?

Thanks Zloth!
That was my first 3D screenshot taking session, so they were by no means perfect. I was also playing with depth at the time.
But 3D in Skyrim is absolutely amazing. It really does take a sort of drab world and turn into a thing of beauty. 3D definitely enhances the Skyrim experience. :)

1. The in game crosshairs for sneak mode are still ON even though you turn off the main cross hair in the menu. Does anyone know how to turn off the in game crosshairs in sneak mode?
2. The NVIDIA in game crosshair doesn't work well on enemy NPC's, often times the depth of the nvidia crosshair will be completely incorrect.
2. The sky & clouds don't render properly.
3. Something on the water doesn't render properly.
The biggest issue here is the nvidia crosshair not working properly. Guys test it for like 10-15 minutes and tell me if your nvidia crosshair is working perfectly or not when fighting NPC's with a bow. The nvidia crosshair should break after a while. It may work for like a minute but it will break.

1. I will try to look into this.
2. What exactly is going wrong with our crosshair? How does it break after 10-15 mins of gameplay? I want to get that fixed.
3. Yes we know about that and documented it earlier on the thread.

I think I found a way to repeat the problem. Like another 20 minutes of testing
3D Vision in this game is quite impressive and the most immersive experience i've had with a 3D vision enabled game thus far.
If they can fix the strange water rendering (even with reflections off the edges 'flicker'), the strange cloud/sky/star rendering, and the other minor outstanding issues, this looks to be THE 3D game of 2011.
Surely the one I plan to demo to everyone I know...

1. Turn on NVIDIA crosshair in game.
2. Start running up towards an enemy while the NVIDIA crosshair is fixed on an enemy.
3. Once you get super close to the enemy back away and get close again while the enemy attaks you.
By now the NVIDIA crosshair should break. Instead of the NVIDIA crosshair being centered on the enemy, it ends up rendering at the same screen depth the normal 2D crosshair would render at.
I attached two screenshots I modified in photoshop to show you the problem.
working.jps shows what I see when everything works properly.
broken.jps shows what I see when the crosshair breaks. If I turn off the crosshair, turn off 3D vision and reload my game the nvidia crosshair begins working properly again.
UPDATE: Seems to only be happening in combat mode, once you're out of combat mode for a while the nvidia crosshair works again.

Im am loving this game, and the 3D experience is amazing. Skyrim would well deserve a rating of excellent barring the sky issue and with no doubt a number of fixes on their way things are looking pretty amazing for all Elder Scroll players. Well done Bethesda, well done nvidia.
On the 3dsolutiongaming website we now have both a Skyrim video medley and a number of screenshots (which can be viewed in site or downloaded as a picture pack)
Please follow the link to watch video and screens, once there click the large skyrim icon on the left to view the Skyrim page.

Nvidia target is pretty much broken for me in almost every situation.
im only at the begining bit where your underground after the dragon attack - and the target only stays to the right depth for about 40% of the items i look at. for the majority of the time the cursor is doubled.
I play with quite high convergence and depth (character reasonably far away but at screen depth in third person.)

If they can fix the strange water rendering (even with reflections off the edges 'flicker'), the strange cloud/sky/star rendering, and the other minor outstanding issues, this looks to be THE 3D game of 2011.
Surely the one I plan to demo to everyone I know...
