Hello everybody,
Probably, my inquiry is due to ignorance, but I can't really find an adequate response.
I currently use a ViewSonic V3D245 (nvidia 3d emmiter embodied into the monitor)connected via hdmi to a GTX 470.
Under the stereoscopic 3d tag, "3d tv play" as well as the "HDMI_Checkerboard" options are visible.
3dtvplay works as it should (3d emmiter's green light is on and games and movies are awesome with at least 50% stereo and some seperation, but with some white ghosting in high contrast scenes).
HDMI_Checkerboard does not seem to work at all. (3d emmiter is off thus no 3d effect)
Is there anything that can be done or else can someone explain briefly what's the story about?
Thank you all in advance.
George

A quick peek: http://www.viewsonic.com/us/v3d245.html your monitor does not appear to support checkerboard format therefore its not going to work.
Not all displays/monitors/tv's support all formats.
