Battlefield 1 - 3D vision
  7 / 12
This is really a great game. Amiens... what a map, Incredible I would hate to be stuck with CM. There is something I don't like however. The contrast is very low and during day on the projector si too difficult to see in the distance

So, the Beta Fix is not working with the Access version? Is the access version the same as the Release version? What exactly is broken? Shaders are broken? Does the game even start with the Beta Fix? I read through the last pages but I couldn't come to a conclusion, so I ask:)

Beta fix is not working on the access/trial version. Game crashes with the fix on start. I think trial / access and the release version are the same. Shadows and some light shaders are broken, for what I can see with my skills. I posted like 40 pics, here are the links again: http://www.file-upload.net/download-12014123/BF1.rar.html http://www.file-upload.net/download-12011012/Battlefield1.rar.html

There is a chance that one shader share the same hash# in the beta fix and trial version, so the game crash because is not the correct shader.....is a theory (i see this one time). Maybe doing a bynary search can help to found the shader responsable for the crash. i suppose with the final version of the game, we need to redo the fix.

Unfortunately I don't think is the fix itself, is 3dmigoto and BF1 that don't work together. Deleting the ShaderFix folder doesn't help. I tried the latest 3dmigoto release without changing anything and I get the same error.

I gave in and subscribed to origin access last night! What a game! Miles better performance than the beta version but with better graphics too! It supports Dolby atmos and has some of the best sounds I've ever heard in a game. Ultra widescreen support and with everything maxed (3440x1440) and the fancy TLAA I get 75-100+ fps. This would be amazing in 3D, the planes, boats, trains, bikes, cars, tanks, horses. The weather and destruction. I think I'll be playing this game for a long long time once it comes out properly. Still can't believe the gfx

You have to enable bitstreaming (i.e passthru) for atmos to work. Your Nvidia card should be the soundcard default. It sounds like you are using HDMI just for audio? Dolby atmos is selected in the games audio settings. Just make sure your amp is doing the decoding metaloholic. You can bitsteam multichannel audio over HDMI. That's what you have to do to get dolby atmos working. It'll be a setting in your amp that's not setup right. chtiblue, No there isn't. Not unless you include software authoring tools used in programs like protools for creating atmos mixes. PC's can't stream 4k Netflix and 4k amazon prime etc, it's a licensing/DRM type thing. PowerDVD 16 will decode 7.1 Master Audio DTS and Dolby trueHD 7.1 to analogue but not dolby atmos or DTS X. You can bitstream it though to your amp. You need to bitstream to an atmos/DTSX enabled amp/pre to get those sound options. When intel kaby lake cpus comes out, they have hdcp 2.2 compliancy (needed for 4k) and hopefully this (with windows 10 and Play Ready 3) will allow windows to decode these object based surround standards to analogue as well as stream 4k footage. (and hopefully play 4k bluray) You can read about play ready 3 here. It's supposed to allow PC's to stream 4k content finally. http://www.pcworld.com/article/2908089/all-about-playready-30-microsofts-secret-plan-to-lock-down-4k-movies-to-your-pc.html I really wish I could attach an xbox S to my windows 10 PC and be able to watch 4k Blurays through my setup! The PS4 Pro doesn't have a 4k bluray drive and the xbox S does have one but doesn't support dolby atmos or DTSX bitstreaming. They said they might enable via software in the future but pfffff! They missed a pretty big trick there! EDIT: Just reading u on playready some more. If you thought cinavia was bad news check this out..... https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/uwp/audio-video-camera/playready-client-sdk
