Hey guys. I haven't played 3D in a few weeks because I've been playing on my Xbox One lately. Just recently I wanted to hop back on Battlefield 4 on the PC but my monitor's power light was still white. (The earliest model 3D Acer 27" monitor is supposed to turn green when 3D mode is on.) Exited out of the game, went to the Nvidia Control Panel to enable Stereoscopic 3D, even shows that it detects my "Acer 120hz 3D LCD" with the "nVidia 3D Vision Ready" badge on the side. So I click to enable Stereoscopic 3D, the box checks and nothing happens. 5 seconds later it unchecks itself and when I click "Run Setup Wizard" nothing happens.. This all happened around the time of last update so is it possible the new driver no longer supports my old Acer? I seriously doubt they would just drop a monitor out of support like that and still show as an option to turn on so forget that, I just wanted to mention it was around the time of the last update.
Any help I would greatly appreciate :)

Try reinstalling the drivers. Try an old driver too, but I really doubt that will be the case.
Does the monitor have a built in emitter, or are you using a USB emitter? If it's USB, try a different port (one on the back of the PC, not through a hub or front port.

Good idea but I really prefer active shutter than that red/blue stuff.
Also note, I can't even run the setup wizard. I click it and the loading mouse icon shows for a few seconds, something pops up on the toolbar for a few seconds, then disappears.
Please help! I want to show off my 3D monitor while my brother is still in town!

I think flugan meant trying the discover mode as a test. Does it work? If it does, then the problem is with the emitter or usb-drivers (if running an active system).
Win8.1 is also a known culprit along with laptops which have optimus technology.
If you can provide more details on the monitor (built in emitter etc), op-system and graphiccard, then people here will have a starting point.

Did you try a clean reinstall? Also delete the NVIDIA 'temp' folder(C:\NVIDIA) before doing so, you could also try DDU ... what OS? It's, odd that it was working but now it's not ... something happened in the meantime, well besides you're PC getting jealous and teaching you a lesson. :)

I did try a clean reinstall but didn't delete that temp folder first so I'm going to try that right now then if that doesn't work I'll try that DDU link.
My OS is Windows 7.

[MonitorSizeOverride][Global/Base Profile Tweaks][Depth=IPD]
That should be an option regardless of monitor and detection.
Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?

My OS is Windows 7.
If so, it's no longer supported.
So is it a built in emitter or a USB one?
