Rebel Galaxy
Rebel Galaxy is a space Western-styled space trading and combat simulation video game developed and published by two-person studio Double Damage Games. http://store.steampowered.com/app/290300/ 66% off on sale, US $6.79 atm (ends in 16 hrs) It has dx9, dx11 and OpenGL for rendering options. In dx9, the 3D kicks in and looks good. The game has some loud rockin music, but also allows you to choose music available on your PC. Reviews are decent, some saying that it's somewhat grindy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFxjbu2SYjI It seems that they are making Rebel Galaxy 2 or another space game, the developer recently dropped a hint that linked to a gif. http://steamcommunity.com/app/290300/discussions/0/142261352647524185/

Next game related, inspiring stuff, almost like a painting in motion ,IMO they are beating both Gearbox and Blizzard aesthetically by several mile (not to mention Firaxis...) - https://gfycat.com/FinishedFlimsyAmericanindianhorse https://gfycat.com/NeedyGlitteringGermanspitz https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DL1gpVeWABInT5j.jpg:large

In space Rebel Galaxy looks decent in 3d (even in DX11) but in the bars and stuff it looks bad (even in DX9). The new one Double Damage are working on looks nice There is also another noteworthy new space shooter up on steam which has a demo. http://store.steampowered.com/app/610680/Starway_Fleet/ 3d in this seems to work pretty well with everything but shadows - i'll post a screenshot (someone may know a simple fix).
