Just wondering if anyone has sucessfully tried playing Lord of the Rings Online Shadows of Angmar/Mines of Moria and tested the 3D effects using the GeForce 3D Vision glasses. Would like to know how well it looks or if it even works at all.

I am getting bright flashes in the glasses when playing so I have to say no. All the other games I've tried work perfectly. So it's not the glasses.
A few questions if I may :)
Are you using dx9 or 10?
did you have to do anything to get it working?
I am using vista 32 bit, and dx9 I get 0 separation, dx10 white flashes every 5-10 seconds.
All my other games work great with 0 flashes or hitches, so it isn't my glasses.
Also what driver version are you using? I am using 1.07.
Thanks for any help or advice.
Could you possibly post your ini file for LOTRO, it may be I have something on that should be off or viceversa.
I'm interested in the answer to this, too. I just this week got a brand new Samsung 24" monitor that was DOA, so I have to return it and I'm thinking about getting the 22" Samsung & 3d Vision glasses instead. However, the games I primarily play are LOTRO (no listed support for 3d Vision) and Age of Conan (categorized as "not recomended"), so I'm not sure I want to go with the smaller screen AND spend more money if the technology doesn't support the games I play.
Do we know whether it's the game manufacturer or nvidia that drives the compatibility process? What I mean by that is would it be likely that existing games that are not currently supported would be supported in future nvidia driver updates, or would it take a game update by the production company to make an existing game compatible?

the funny thing with my rig is I can get it working in dx10 but not dx9, I disabled the bloom filter and still no 3d effects until I dropped the quality to medium, then it worked. So I started messing with dx10, lowered the settings to high and I now get a flicker every 5 mins or so, which is more than acceptable to me. I was playing on ultra high before. But now that I've lowered the quality to high, I did some tweaking and am running a custom config. turned a few settings up and voila smile.gif Although I did have to totally disable landscape shadows...
this is my ini file
I figure if I get a better card I may be able to raise it back to ultra high smile.gif I love the game and it is so amazing to run through Moria with the 3d vision... I am in heaven!

The flashing/Flickering went away for me when I charged the glasses and rebooted the PC.
DX10 didn't work at all for me, got the typical "unable to use it in non 3d mode" error thingy when I enabled DX10.
Everything else works fine. I did have double-cursors, making targeting difficult (though you should be using the hotkeys rather than the mouse.)
Best game in 3D is definately Warhammer Online though. Grab the 10 day trial and you'll be shocked...soooo....pretty.....
