Thank you, its working now. I don't know if it was fixed by reinstalling the game, drivers, the updated beta. I will do more testing tomorrow and post back if I have issues. Just wondering, what role did you all have in the patch? bo3b, helifax, flugan, mike_ar69, and others. Do you guys work together in real life? Thank you so much for the patch. :)

Is their a way you could make 3D turn off automatically in the main menus and when the game is paused since they are so messed up? The HUD renders at screen depth, but still has small issues: The speed has a white box over it in one eye, and the HUD part in the bottom left is darker in one eye. EDIT: The fix was working fine yesterday, but not now. Yesterday, I could change the convergence without affecting the HUD. Now the V key makes the HUD move, but does not lock it to screen depth. I have to have the convergence set in a specific (bad) spot so the HUD works okay. Also, isn't the C key supposed to do something also? It does nothing for me. EDIT2: I got it fixed again by restoring graphics settings to default. Optimizing them in Geforce Experience must have messed it up. Since the game requires a restart when checking graphics settings, it will probably take me hours to figure out which is causing the issues.

Was there a game update? There might be new shaders which is why the convergence problem is back. I'll have a look. The "C" key is a *game* function that changes the visibility and layout of HUD elements. You need to keep pressing it lots of times and you will see different hud elements appear. In game messages and menus should also 'move' with the "V" key. HOWEVER, almost every HUD/MENU element in this game renders differently, many of them are coupled really oddly, and there is no way to selectively fix them - it's just the way it is. If the menus are bothering you, try the ctrl-T trick. Regarding "corner cutting" and "wrong way", I believe the problem here is that they are on the opposite V-key toggle to the game HUD elements, but I can't quite remember. Regardless, if it was easy to sort out I would have done it, but it's not. When Witcher 3 is released, I am having a break from fixing anyway - I've recently worked on Project Cars, Witcher 3 and Dirt Rally, all after vowing (many times) that I would reduce my activity ;-) If someone else wants to pick up playing around with the HUD/Menus that's fine with me.
I think I found one of the settings causing issues. AA can't be set to "High"; It messes up shadows, but it works fine on MSAA. I did not try other settings. I reassigned all of my in-game controls, I guess that would explain why the C key did nothing. That's okay, I mapped ctrl-T to a button on my G27 shifter. I just thought there might be a way to automate it. Thank you very much for this fix and others. I know us 3D Vision users are a minority. But if more gamers realized how good it is and started using it, maybe developers would support it better. EDIT: I did more tests with in-game AA settings with the following results: Off - 3D Working MSAA - 3D Working High - 3D Broken DS2X - 3D Working DS2M - 3D Broken DS4X - 3D Broken 2 more settings not tested. This is odd, do you want to confirm it yourselves and put a note on the mod's download page so people know?

Im also hoping that fixes are working with newer drivers too. Is there an update planned? Old drivers often got lower performance and in worst cases they dont support newer GPUs :-(

I could look at it right now for example, but it's very, very likely to be an NVidia problem we cannot do anything about anyway. And the opportunity cost would be that I would not be able to look at fixing GTA5. Best to exercise patience on upgrades, or roll back to known working scenarios. Early adopters always get to spend their personal time working around temporary issues.

Two weeks ago I downgraded from 3D Vision Surround to 3D Vision monitor and from 780 SLI to Single GTX 780. A few problems are solved for me now. No more bluescreen crashes with newer drivers in idle and a lot of games are easier to handle now @ 3D Vision Single moni @ single GPU. For example GTA 5 runs better (sometimes 2-3 hours without a crash). I think Nvidia stopped decent support of older GPU generation (GTX7xx) with new drivers, and that could be a reason that 3D Vision + Surround + SLI causes a lot of problems. For sure I didnt change to Win 10, Im still @ Win 7-64. Just tested PCars with de newest 353.62 driver and cant see any issues. It runs nearly perfect. @bo3b: Do you think that Nvidia wants to pay manpower to keep 3D Vision @ Win 10 alive? Or do they only concentrate on Virtual Reality?
