Active 3D on any TV or projector with NVidia 3D vision ?
I Saw an interesting device called Edison 3D on indiegogo that claims that It can transform any normal TV or projector with a HDMI Port on active 3D TV or projector, It seems Very interesting, have You ever heard of It ?
Can the NVidia 3D vision do the same thing (work on any TV or projector buying the 3D vision kit, glasses and pyramid) ?

I've tried to make It more clear now, It is Basic two questions, If anyone heard or tried this Edison 3D device and if i can use the NVidia 3D vision kit with any TV or projector like with the First one i mentioned.
Sorry If It still confusing i AM not Very good at english as i would like to be (i AM from Brazil) :-)

There are already several items available, that do exactly what this does (and more). Everyone that has tried them, have not like them. 3D Fury was one, but it was a secondary feature on it, it was designed to do other things. I can't remember the name of the other. But viewing 3D on regular TVs is not good.

You can use the 3D Vision kit with older Mitsubishi and Samsung DLP 3D HDTVs. As well as some projectors.

Well i don't understand much on techinical aspect of the these things, but it seems that work the same way of the conventional active 3D, i own a Philips active 3D (2011) that uses a external device that is supported by Philips but It is made by Xpand, and It Works ok, so this might work also. I Saw the one worse problems with active 3D is the flickering because of 60hz or less refresh rate, my tv is 60hz and It is usable.
Too bad that NVidia Lost the interest on 3D (3d Vision and 3dtv play) since i don't see any official supporting on this, i only see a user support.
Maybe the Edison 3D will launch a New version that supports HDMI 2.0 which 4k 60hz (which as Far as i know there not many options If any with this specs) or 1080p at higher refresh rate... Only time Will Tell...

Edit: added 3DVIP, it took me awhile to find it, I couldn't remember what it was called. Check the reviews on it, over at the Audio Video Science forums (AVSforums), people tried them on their 2DTVs and they sucked.
So um...yah....that Edison thingy is nothing new or special, especially for the associated price gouge with it's limited functionality.

It's early 1990's active shutter tech.
Dumb TV not designed for 3D, forced into displaying active shutter 3D by the source.
It's how legacy 3D Vision worked back in the days or CRT monitors. (ELSA 3D revelator &co)
Technically it can work, you get 3D but with huge compromises that it's not worth it :
- flicker due to the TV working at 60Hz (33ms shutter), You want 120Hz displays minimum for proper 3D without flicker.
- New on modern TVs : ghosting due to the LCD TV having slow response time (3DTVs require high end panels with ultra fast response time)
- New on modern TVs : random failure due to variable image processing latency (3DTVs require good processing electronics with algorithms properly chosen for a stable and predictable latency onto which the 3D shutter glasses can lock on)

This is interesting, but no HDMI 2.0 supporting also which means no 4k support. So must buy a emitter and glasses separatelly, which makes This Very expensive.

The 3D Fury and VIP 3D, were introduced as alternatives to Viewsonic's VP-3D1 and Optoma's 3D-XL, SBS/O&U to Frame Sequential converters.
You are right, they are pricey. As well as old/outdated.
