Assassins Creed looks beautiful, but my 2 GTX260s run blazing hot
Anybody else notice the load this game puts on the video cards with 3D enabled? I'm more than a little worried about it. Should I dial back the resolution to offset the heat? The fans are running like jet engines and sound like it, too

Do you have pics showing your case so we can check what kind of air flow you got?

I suppose I could post some. I've been running it with the side panel off as of late. I'm afraid if I put the panel on, the temps will really rise. For case fans, I've got two fans in the front sucking in and two out the back blowing out.

What temps are you getting tho? Cos for cards like that anything under or around the 70-80*c mark is ok (under load).

Get GPU-Z to find out.

+ i got a simaler situation, imainly on dx10 games like company of heroes. I get about 70-80*c on both cards ( duel 8800GTX ) although my case is very well ventilated ( Antec 900 /pirate.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':pirate:' /> )
