New Setup for Depthq 3D HD
Hi all, 3D home theater was my long life dream and after seeing infocus depthq projector I was sold..So far I have a quad core intel HTPC. vista ultimate 2 gig DDR3 and 8600GTS fanless video card..I got a discount from a reseller in california so I went ahead and order..The only thing I dont like with depthq is that it doesnt have lens shift so I have to move my other projector and put this thing in the middle. My screen is about 11ft wide 235:1 from carada..Anyway I found out that 8600gts needs an upgrade so I got the Quadro FX 3700 512MB card..This card has a built in 3-pin DIN. My dealer also carry a wireless emitter and glasses. One question though, can you use different brand glasses on any wireless emitter? Are they using same protocol/standards? this is my first 3D setup so I'm reading as much as I can..Also the only thing is that the wireless glasses has a life of 600-700 hours and cost 95 bucks each but it has bigger lens, similar to crystal eyes3. I cant find any reviews/setup or any one that has experience similar to this setup. I will however post amd will comeback with review once it is setup. I also ordered true field sequential dvd's not the one that is converted from 2D..I was also reading about Sensio S3D..The lower resolution version is available to the public but I cant find the HD version anywhere..I email a dealer in UK and they have not come back with me yet, this drives me to get DepthQ 3d HD, at least the dealer offer tech support..

Each glasses/emitter is different. NVIDIA 3D Vision is the latest version we offer which is the only glasses kit to work with our stereoscopic 3D game driver. We used the DepthQ projector at CES to demnstrate gaming and its a really cool experience to have games on a 10 foot screen in 3d!
