Hello everyone, so I own two VG248QE Monitor, but I have never owned a 3D pair, a friend of mine who owns Asus Laptop am not sure which model it is, but should be last gen or the one before, he has a nvidia glasses that came with the laptop, and i cant seem to be able to set it up with my Monitors.. i have read threads some people were able to use their laptops glasses with VG248QE, but for me its just acting weirdly. i Have uninstalled Nvidia drivers with DDU, and performed a custom, clean Install of the new drivers 361.43, Whenever i try to enable Stereoscopic 3D, it runs the setup wizard and that one just keep asking me to install the 3D drivers, which I did when i did the Custom install of the drivers, do i really need an emitter for the VG248QE? ive read somewhere it comes built-in ..
WELP !
My Card: GTX 780
My Glasses: I Think they are 1st gen.. idk heres how they look like [http://www.extremetech.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/nvida_3d_glasses.jpg]

Nvidia's glasses require a Nvidia emitter to work with the PC.
Your friend's laptop has an emitter built in.
The VG24*QE does not have a built in emitter.
Nvidia does not sell the emitter by itself, try ebay.
If you have to give the glasses back, you'll need to buy a kit.

only a few games work very well with 3D Vision, for the rest you need to install compatibility fixes

I do not think that you can use the internal emitter of the laptop with an external display.
