A remastered Skyrim is such a wierd decision. I am sure with mods alone at this point you can make the game look better than they could ever possibly achieve.

Original PS3 version alone sold more copies then PC. Thats without modding capability.
Not to mention its bringing mods to Xbox one, ps4, PC.
TBH, if anything it will reinvorgorate modding for Skyrim.
I find modding of games to be a huge hassle once a game hits a crazy amount of mods/time. With compatibility, installation, comparison. In the amount of time spent I could of played and beat a game.
Fallout 4 modding made me so happy when I checked out Far Harbor. Its just so much more friendly.

I guess I just (as with most bethsoft games) found it so underwhelming, didn't think much of Fallout 4 either. They always seem to have really glaring gameplay flaws and poor writing.
Moderately pretty hiking simulators... Oh well I guess they sell a crapton so who am I to judge.
I think the main problem with their games with moddding is since they are still running on the morrowind engine with a few generations of paint coded on top, its just really easy to collapse the engine under the weight of mods.
Seems once you hit about 4gb Ram or Vram in their engine their games just buckle. I gave up on skyrim because of this while trying to literally mod the crap out of the game.
I still have this really bizzare issue that Fallout 4 will simple just crash on startup unless I hold down the left mouse button when starting the game... Only in a bethesda game. smh

Only in a bethesda game do I launch at 1080p maxed on 1080 gtx/ 4790k and drop below 40 fps [fallout 4]. I figured they would of did something about that by now but the area near good neighbor still costs double cpu performance.

So I guess you haven't played Just Cause 3 :P
Why are Bethesda games so popular - simple answer - because they are F...... Great in almost every aspect, well.. except the engine :/
Here Skyrim is running flawless in 3D with around 100 mods, and it has never been more beatifull !!
With Nexus mod manager all there games is rather easy to mod, and perhaps use Boss for optimising the loading order.
So it's a good point that the remaster is for the Console peoples sake, I wouldn't post any money in it !

VR looks to be gaining ground, especially with Microsoft's Project Scorpio 4K console and indications that VR version of Fallout 4 may be coming to console (potentially via Vive). I wonder which GPU will be used in Scorpio? Interesting that Resident Evil 7 Biohazard is releasing as PlayStation VR title.

Resident Evil 7 is going to look sooo bad in Playstation VR.
Its almost certainly 30FPS @ 1080P on Playstation 4. How they plan to achieve the playstation VR necessary specs is going to be a travesty.
I am really conflicted about VR as of this E3. These are the games I want in VR Fallout 4, Resident Evil, [forget other game]. I want to be able to move in a game since it offers so much as far as narrative experience. It would be great to feel like your a part of a story which is something that almost no VR game offers yet.
However, developers thus far have pretty much said movement is a no go due to a high percentage of people experiencing Nauseau. I really have not liked VR for most part thus far cause games based around standing still/warping are just meh as far as the Vive. Playing sport games, standing in one place shooters are just not my thing.
EDIT: Fallout 4 is using teleporting... unless thats a non option I am not excited.

How about that Bulletstorm Remaster - maybe that is with VR in mind.
Another game is Crytek`s Robinsons. Amazing setting and good story so far. Theirs polished technology can run great on VR and Neo.
I am impressed by Zelda and especially by all those PS4 exclusives... what a shame that I can't play them on my PC in 3D, but have to play them with the slow PS4.

Well, especially
1) Horizon Zero Dawn
2) God of War
3) Days Gone
4) Detroit become Human
also cool,
FF XV
and finally the Last Guardian.
Its funny because Playstations press conference was amazing. Microsofts was mediocre/bad.
So there is so much hype for playstions game but the funny thing is...
Almost no games that are exclusive will be released this year or even have a release date aside from last guardian. Those same games we saw this year, we will see again next year most likely at e3.
I am actually more excited about the Microsoft games Dead Rising 4, Gears of War, Re:core all of which are coming out this year. While sony's are "TBD".
Microsoft really needs to learn how to hold a conference. E3 is all about generating hype.

I want to believe. If FFX could come to PC, FFXV surely will (they need more sales anyway).
If RE7 is especially made for VR, I wonder if shaders won't be broken with 3D Vision or not.
