It would be so nice, if nvidia can give us a small message about the status of this annoying problem. Is there a fix in work? Are you in contact with Blizzard? Or don't you feel responsible for that problem at all?

It's policy to snub the public. When they do fix it, they won't tell you until they do. Nothing like feeling uncertain. Got to love it.

I spent $520 plus tax on the GTX 480 card that runs hotter than my kitchen oven, and now I can't even play WOW. I was using the older drivers for WOW, which of course don't work with the newer card. I thought, hmm, I'll buy the new card because I still want to play the graphic intensive games at full once in a while, but now that I've dabbled with the newer games, I want to start playing WOW again. However, none of the fixes mentioned on this forum work for me and so I'm stuck with an awesome GTX 480 that can't even play the simplest game , WOW. Please, Nvidia, please fix this problem. This was the main reason I got 3d vision in the first place and now I'm starting to feel completely suckered into buying crap that doesn't even work right. Oh yeah, don't even get me started on the crap that is the top 20% of my monitor, because I could go on for days about that horrible, horrible annoying problem of "ghosting" that should've been fixed before even marketing 3d vision in the first place. Oh, and 3d vision ready for Batman AA? Come on, it might look pretty good in 3d, but the fact the game crashes every 15mins in my mind, tells me it is not a "3d READY" compatible game in the least. Nvidia has alot of work to do to gain my trust back for selling such an undertested and buggy product(s).

I have some issues with WoW in 3D but touching the sliders in the options --> 3D option fixes the misplacement of the icons and other issues I have so in the end it does work here.
Although it does work it's not the best 3D experience at all, there are other games which work much better in 3D.

well ...yes..it does work if you don't use convergence...but without convergence....i don't feel that game as "3d"

3D works perfect, even with greater screen depth (that slider in WoW which controls convergence). Just don't set the top slider to any value too extreme.

When ALT-TAB'ing out of the game, or after closing WoW and starting it again it will mess up the UI in terms of depth. The only fix I know is disabling Stereo 3D from within WoW, apply, enable, apply and you're done. Quite frustrating though.

Those that have not played WOW before driver version 191.07, don't realize just what they're missing. Yes, you can still play WOW with all the depth sliders and convergence settings very low, but believe me, this is NOTHING compared to how it used to work pre 191.07 drivers. The game had a certain depth and overall awesomeness to it that made it one of the top performers for 3d. Now...it just plain sucks a$$.

I get the same... User interface is freaked up, unplayable, also using newest drivers...

GTX 8800
3d Nvidia vision
samsung rz2233
windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

Please fix these annoying issues, its really bad marketing strategy to say excellent performance in World of Warcraft when its absolutely unplayable in the state it is in right now. Worst product i have ever purchased from nvidia, and i bought a lot. This might be the last one though, since ATI might be a great alternative with this bullcrap.

What is it about WoW that makes new drivers keep screwing it up? WoW also became unplayable in early 2009 when the 3D cursor stopped working completely and the depth was crippled. It was thankfully fixed a few MONTHS later.

What scares me: If this type of lax is allowed for a game that still has a gigantic user base and is still actively making money, what does that tell you about Nvidia's stance on drivers overall? Here we have the pinnacle of all PC games in terms of current popularity, and Nvidia can't even get their act together to fix that ASAP. Of ALL games, this should be the one that Nvidia stays on top of all the time in terms of compatibility.

Lately I've been starting to treat my GTX 280 as the last Nvidia GPU that I will own. I'm fed up with all this silence/maybe they'll fix it maybe they won't BS. We payed them a lot of money for this equipment, we shouldn't have to settle for their table scrap driver releases which are sadly the backbone of the product itself.

Last time WoW's 3D broke they were silent. They're pretty much silent about every problem 3D Vision has most of the time. Kind of what you get when your 3D marketing manager/PR spokesperson is the one addressing customers, and not an actual Nvidia developer.

It is pretty sad that no feedback has been mentioned.

Oh wait, it was. "Top priority to fix this week"; 14 weeks ago. Right, how could I forget.

Seriously pathetic for a product that is supposed to be pioneering a methodology of gaming, wouldn't you say?

This is pathetic 6 MONTHS and nothing and were supose to take this ? although i cant send back my 470 I still have a few days left on my 3D vision kit ...Its not like this is lets say Mass Effect 1 that was broken durning a driver update IT's WoW for god sakes the most popular MMO on the planet and they dont even reply ? Im afraid its a sure sign to come that the 3D vision for PC will probly be neglected although its cost me 1300.00 for every thing the kit is only 199.00 and for that they thought they could keep drivers up to date with all the games and game updates i think there finaly figaring out um hey for all the programers we got working on this and were only getting this one time injection of 199.00 were gonna lose our butts ! So id like to suggest although a buncha people will flame me on this !! I think they should ..not to current users but new Kit purchasers charge a one dollar a month 3D vision fee to keep the drivers and games working properly I mean come on it would be better than sitting with a 3D vision kit collecting dust for 6 months .....I mean come on there a great company heh they still providing my 7600GT drivers for my media DL puter and they still support oldr moddles than that ! but any hows im still ticks off about the 6 months but maybe they will actualy read this post and know that some of the users kinda understand ! some what any hows ........ducking for cover from the flamer's LOL /verymad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':verymad:' />

I'm curious as to why no one is tired of beating their heads against a driver that doesn't work when they're sitting on one that does?...

...just a thought, but a lot of this seems self-inflicted just so you can say you're using the latest driver...
