Did you have one of from early production runs? Because Texas Instruments revised their DLP chips after the early version began to fail. They added tethers to the corners to prevent them from hyper extending and getting stuck. The fail rate is a lot less now with the new iterations.
But yah, a used one isn't a great idea.
Edit: BTW I have 12,000 hrs on a PLED-W5000, the mirror array is still fine.(knock on wood)

There was a seamless surround monitor that used rear projection DLP, it had 4 DMD chipsets
In this video, the camera picks up the variance between each projection on the side monitor. So you can see how it has 4. There were only a few hundred that were ever made and they cost over $6000 at launch. It has a resolution of 2880x900. But it could get expensive fast to replace the LED lamps and DMD chips in these. Especially in a triple display setup.

Yeah I read these Acer problems and that's why I asked maybe Optoma HD67n is better, because you can't get these projectors new anymore. How you can say is H5360 early production or not?

Pretty sure that anything still running today is later production. The early failures were very fast, it wasn't a slow degrade. I'd read that they weren't properly sealed, so moisture got inside to stick the mirrors. In any case, manufacturing defects.
I just bought a dead one from eBay and revived it. Replacing the DMD is not trivial, takes a couple of hours, but it's pretty doable. Got this used one because my main unit has a single stuck pixel, after only 5 years of use dangit! I expected it to go into massive degrade, but still only single pixel.
No experience with Optoma, but my prediction would be that it is similar. They all use the same parts from TI.

Yes, you can use DLP Link glasses instead of Nvidia glasses.
Isn't that only for the H5360BD? My H5360 has no DLP glasses ability that I can tell.

Ohh I never had a H5360.
I assumed that every DLP has the ability to use DLP Link glasses and would be astonished if the H5360 did not have the feature. It's simply a white flash inserted between the frames.
Back when, prior to 3D Vision, projectors used generic crt support. You could use PowerDVD to watch 3D Movies via a VGA connection. But then the The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) revamped their rules in 2010 and HDCP stopped the ability to use a VGA connection. Which in turn lead to "Analog Sunset", which is sad, because VGA was a great transmission protocol, other than the fact that it had no audio capabilities.

H5360BD is 3D TV PLAY / DLP GLASSES = HDMI 1.4
H5360 is 3D vision glasses = HDMI 1.3
All the 3D vision ready projectors are hdmi 1.3 or at least last I checked 3 years ago.
5360 is the best projector solution Ive ever tried for 3D vision but problem is its only good for 3d vision.
No tridef, no ps3, nothing. Its only good for 3D vision.
I had to buy a Optoma 3D Xl for using tridef/ps3 3d. Its to force dlp link and side by side pretty much. They stopped making them though.
-------------------------
Dead pixels are a bitch Especially in 3D. I had one and I got rid of it next day. Your looking at two images images and one 2D dead pixel in the middle of screen. Ugh.

So maybe it's better for me buy that H5360BD model and use H5360 edid hack and I can use DLP glasses because I don't plan to buy 3d vision kit anyway so I can't use H5360 anyway with DLP glasses? And BD models are newer so they don't have that early DMD chip defect?

Yeah, but 3D Vision is better than 3DTV play
Why I need bookmark this? With search function I found this thread and I think it's best thread ask about those things about Acer projectors.

3Dvision @720P is not better than 3DtvPLay @720P.
The advantage of 3Dvision is that it can do 3D @ full res 1080P but not on the projector.
I advise you to look in the direction of Benq 1070P or similar which (which I already did) can do 3TVPLay@720P, SBS, TB at 1080P and 3Dvision@720P with Edid Mod.

So I know that and I have that thing so no worries I can use 3DTV app and 3D Vision if I want. But I want to know if using 5360 edid hack on BD model then can you still use DLP glasses or only nvidia glasses? Because someone said before that 5360 can't use without 3d vision glasses, but I don't plan buy them so my projector must work without nvidia glassses and I don't have emitter problem because I have that.

Not certain, but I doubt it. I tried the later generation projector, still shipping, Acer H5380BD. That uses DLP glasses, and I have a 3D Vision kit. Using EDID override, the glasses would synchronize- but be eye-swapped. I couldn't find any way to get any piece of the chain to swap eyes back. Unless someone says they got it working, I'd expect H5360BD to be the same.
BTW, I really would not worry about the reports of early failure on these projectors. Think about it, early failure. That was 5 years ago. If a projector lasted this long you cannot possibly have one with that manufacturing defect.

So what model you recommend me if I don't want to use nvidia glasses? 5360BD model? Isn't 3D TV have worst graphics than 3D vision because 3DTV uses frame packing?

Have a look at other threads, it's not projectors users that are complaining about how 3DTV Play looks on their projectors. It's people with 1080P 3D HDTVs that do a poor job of displaying 720P 3D.
3D HDTVs were made with the primary objective of displaying Blu-ray 3D in 1080P, not gaming.
The people overriding the H5360BD are simply doing it so that they can use their 3D Vision glasses if they already have a pair. Saving themselves the additional cost of buying DLP Link glasses.
