Actually, my old Fallout 3 sky fix should work fine. Turns out the meshes are the same. Wish I wouldn't have put in the effort.

Anyway, just use the stars.nif from the older fallout 3 release and it should fix the problem.

Thanks for the fix pahncrd. I am about to finish up FO3 this weekend for the final time so I am going to play another game or two before I jump into New Vegas. All I need now is someone to update pipboy readius for this game and I am all set!

Just throw this script into a .bat file and activate it before you start your game.

Just thought I'd throw this out there, since it helped me.
Changing the Field of View through the console let's you adjust the convergence to a more comfortable level, thus lessening the need for as much depth.

Hit - "~"
Type - FOV 90

I use anywhere from 90 - 100, adjust accordingly.

Default is 75, which makes changes in convergence a pain in your eyes, literally.
This game really needs high separation otherwise the 3d is only so-so.

Oh and if you're using a 360 pad, change settings to keyboard/mouse to access console, then change back when done :D

Edit: Ouch, so apparently using the console disables achievements, ugh, found out the hard way. But I think there's a way to do this through the ini.

I know a lot of 3d vision users like more immersion, so this might be right up their alley. It makes it so that weapon skill and armor makes a much bigger difference. If you are wearing power armor you will be nigh invulnerable to small arms in unskilled hands (non AP rounds), yet an unarmed opponent will be very vulnerable. AP rounds are scaled to match new settings, as are creature armor.
