That's been true for about two months now.

Anyway, good to hear that things are working now. I guess I need to wrap up Bloodlines!

P.S. Heaven only knows why convergence is locked. Maybe when a game does 3D itself instead of just letting NVIDIA drivers do it they have to put in their own routines to handle convergence changes? That's just a wild guess.
[/quote]

Really? So people should have just accepted it not working and when the so called fixes came out, we should have all not said it was still not working?

So with the convergence being locked is there any popout or is it all depth? I know Mafia 2 has the convergence locked and it was depth only.

It has a good amount of popout with the convergence setting.

My convergence isn't locked, it's been available since 1.3 and through the process hack before 1.3.
Too bad 3dvision doesn't remember separation per game, otherwise they would have allowed for a much easier profile setting for pop-out, instead of having to increase and reduce separation all the time for each individual game, when you want more pop-out and less depth or vice-versa.

Convergence got locked for me with the 1.35 patch, which is how it was before 1.3 came out or you did the services hack. Seeing as the 3D is truly fixed now, it's a tradeoff I am willing to accept.

Updated Nvidia forceware to 280.26, updated The Witcher 2 to version 1.35 (witcher2.exe version is 1.3.7010.49836).

Well, I load my previous savegame, it is an interior scene, and all I can say is:

- very low framerate, also in low quality graphics configuration.

- lights present errors.

- shadows present errors.

I don´t know what game are you talking about, but it is not mine. I have doubdts about how many Nvidia or CDProject people are writing in this post. I assume my PC is power enough to play any game today, and if it isn´t maybe developers may work better with code. I have a Intel core i7 at 4.1Gz, Nvidia 460 OC with 1Gb, and 6gb RAM, and ALL GAMES RUN SMOOTH IN MY COMPUTER, BUT THIS. Sorry, but the savepoint I´m playing just now has not a lot of detail to demand such a powerfull machine to play smooth. For me this game still need to be patched.

PD: I have unistalled and installed aplying the v1.0 to 1.35 patch, and the result is exactly the same. I have not play more because I assume that if this game is not able to manage the scene (in low quality) I am located in the interior of a cell, the game is not well patched. This game is SO FRUSTRATING... yes, maybe a good game once it can be played, but do not compensate the pain produced. Games can not be released as this, NEVER.

Sorry, I´m still dissapointed.

Hmm that is truly weird, maybe it's because I had made a custom convergence profile with the services hack. I will test again tonight and let you guys know for sure, but it was working when I tested this morning and the shadows were ok (meaning that 1.35 has installed correctly).

I am still on the 280.19 drivers but I seriously doubt the driver difference, especially since not much really changed between the two sets, changed much. I would suggest doing a re-install of the game, keeping your savegames, with the 0 - 1.35 patch. There are quite a few people posting on the official forum that this fixed the indoor performance bug as well as the broken shadows, as long as you don't alt-tab out of the game after you have loaded it. I can assure you I don't work for anyone involved with making the game or Nvidia.

Must be, because the only way I can adjust it now is using the services hack, but this breaks the shadows. I even tried holding the shortcut keys down a long time since some games require you to do this. Doesn't matter much to me because the convergence is pretty close to where I would have had it anyway.

Well I am off to the gym for a bit as I need a break. I already but over 5 hours into my replay already and I am well into Act 1 now. It was nice to be able to play through the prison escape, the solar portion of the prologue, and now the tavern with solid frame rates and working shadows at the same time.

I renamed my .exe just to load the game without a 3D Vision profile to see if convergence would be unlocked.

Nope.

Shadows were still correct though - I didn't expect that.
So it appears that the convergence lock isn't in NVIDIA's profile for the game, but in the game itself.
Shame. I get very little pop-out. Not much depth either. Not compared to Avatar or Alice anyway.
Still, it is in 3D finally. Support for convergence has been pretty spotty in a lot of games - but I expected it in a 3D vision ready title.

Feature request for CDPR ...

Loaded up the patch last night and was thrilled to find the 3D fixed! (And I certainly do not work for either company). I wish the convergence was unlocked, but like it's already been said, just the fact that it's working period is good enough.

Game is excellent in 3D, perhaps the best 3DVision game so far.
Thanks to Andrew/Nvidia and devs at ProjecCD for getting 3D to work on this beautiful game.

Would be perfect if we could get convergence unlocked.
