The OP complained about this defeciency, I wanted him to know that others feel the same way.

Which is why I didn't criticize Andrew in my post.
Andrew's direct Q&A with customers is unique in the industry and it's value cannot be overstated. At the same time, I don't agree with Andrew's decision to give the checkerboard fix such low priority, but of course I don't see the big picture.

Hi

I've never said its a low priority, it just takes time to add SW new features.

Rollermod.inf is valid, but the tutorial is a bit outdated regarding eye order for which I now have a fix. PM me if you have any problems.

The whole point of having the HDMI 1.4 3D standard was so that developers and content creators wouldn't have to specifically code support for every legacy standard or format various devices might support. Its unfortunate that current HDMI 1.4 TVs do not support 1080P60 yet, but they will at some point pretty soon. And then this will be a moot point. I think Nvidia is right in spending their time to support the standard that will work universally on all new 3D TVs moving forward, and not on legacy standards that may only be supported on a small fraction of devices. But, that said, it would be nice if Nvidia would sell an "unlocked" driver that would allow manual selection of 3D modes (120Hz, HDMI 1.4, checkerboard, side-by-side, interlaced, etc.). They could even charge $99 for it, I bet people would pay. I would.
