I'll dig out this topic, even though I wrote about this promo in "Steam sale" thread. https://www.humblebundle.com/ For only 1$ ! (accepts PayPal, no credit card needed, and if it's still a problem, ask me, I might buy you a key, if you're not recently registered and was first to ask for help) I'm digging this thread out, because I just launched this game in 3D and I don't even know if Helixmod fixed the proper 3D or it's just a compatiblity mode, since I "played" just a few seconds, but I quit to shout everywhere: This game is AWESOME on proper displays! I've got Benq low persistence (backlight strobing eliminating ALL the motion blur) and 3D Vision 2. I launched the game, of course - on maximum separation and pulled my chair closer to the monitor. Disabled motion blurs and AA (stable 60fps is the key!). Started a race. Transformed the vehicle into a flying one. Flew a little. Jaw dropped. I love this! Reminds me of Star Wars Episode 1:Racer. PS. I'll record and upload a 60fps 3D 1080p video tomorrow.

I just tried this game in 2160p. 16Megapixels to render on my gtx760, lol :D I got around 15-20fps. Don't try this at home, kids :P Downsampling looks good though, I wish my gtx760 was 4x faster in pixel fillrate :P Anyways - just wanted to say this game works with 2D 4K resolutions, no problem. I already finished the game in 2D back in the days, it's really cool. Those flying sections rock (not on every level, of course, but there is awesomeness in many) gatorkea That's sad to hear :( I was hoping I'll enjoy MK on Wii:U some day. I plan to buy Wii:U for half a year, temporally, just long enough, that I can play the best few hits (Mario Kart, DKC:TF, B2 and such). I'm not a kart racing genre veteran, I never played Mario Kart before, or Crash Team Racing, or any similar game. I though Sonic Racing Transformed was a "medium quality" and MK is far better. To be fair, I'm disappointed with the graphics on Wii:U. Style is better in SR:Transformed (I hate blooms and "dusty air" effects), and Wii:U is not nearly twice as fast as x360, so Sonic, done with x360 in mind and 30fps, has more available geometry compared to MK on Wii:U running at 60fps. I hoped this game will show off the Wii:U capabilities and the gameplay side will be better than Sonic. OK then, expectations recalibrated.

Doesn't this only work in 3D with no shadows? I do tend to be kind of picky about the shadows.

It works with a fix, which does remove shadows. http://helixmod.blogspot.com.au/2012/12/container-position-relative-sonic-all.html It looks great though, you don't even notice it.

But then again, the online portion of sonic racing is dead, you wont find much competition if thats your thing.
