I still don't get the love for skyrim in terms of stereo 3d. I could never get it working properly The sky in particular. But then again maybe its due to the fact that I stand stand playing it without modding the crap (literally) out of it.

Has anyone tried Batman Lego 3 with 3d vision? Maybe its also 3d ready out of the box.
I have it. I am one of the people that can't play the lego games with the default convergence so I fix them all to use lower convergence (see Helixblog for the games I fixed). I just did Lego Hobbit actually, and am doing Lego Batman 3 now.
Lego Batman Superheroes 2 and Lego Marvel are both great, especially Marvel. I also like Lego The Movie, it captures the actual movie really well and has some great psychedelic graphics in places. Finally, Lego Lord of The Rings is good, it's unsurprisingly similar to Lego Hobbit - actual movie dialogue in game, multiple characters, open world, rpg elements etc.
Mike, does Lego Marvel look like Hobbit out of the box? What about Batman 3?

Calistoga,
I don't have Batman 3 yet, but I finished LEGO Marvel, and not only is it an outstanding game (how do this recent LEGO games do it? Aren't they supposed to be silly kiddies games? Extraordinary...) but the 3D is flawless, seems to be the case for all the lego games.

Actually I've been playing Lego Marvel recently and it looks great on default. I tried the fix but it crashed the game, it didn't even start. Since the game works great anyway I didn't care much though.

I feel for you on this one, respectfully. I have several mods, but most of my mods are graphic related only. I did try an add on that was related to Elsweyr and was a total mess in
3D.
Otherwise Skyrim is truly awesome in 3D, I've always loved the way the camera works in most of Bethesda titles since I can use a toggle key with the helixmod to switch from two different convergence settings. One for 3rd person for the toyification effect and another for first person. The open world and graphic fidelity with HD mods is really something in 3D.....

The reason it didn't start may be due to the fact the fix is no longer needed..
TT released a demo with flawless 3D, then upon release the game (exe) was shipped out broken. TT listened to the community (us) and released a patch that restored the proper 3D not too long after launch. Maybe somebody should make a note on the Helix Blog about it, some may not have realized a patch was available and may be running the borked v1.0 release.
Also, Hobbit, is quite stellar, but LEGO Batman 3 is even more impressive, I started a topic with some screenshots (some lol..)
Here is the link, oh and I will include the Hobbit link too!

Back on topic, here's my current fav's:
LEGO B3 (DUH)
Trine 2 - again Duh!
The vanishing of Ethan Carter - you can nearly taste the 'amazing' with this one!
Dead Space 2 & 3 - If you have the extra horsepower, use Nv Inspector to change the AA Compat Bits (list online somewhere) Flip the AA Flag to 'none' and use 'Overrride' @ 8x MSAA, it will knock your socks off how perfect and jaggy free it is..
Outlast

Pinball FX2
Bulletstorm
Alan Wake

Rayman Origins/Legends are probably my top.
RE5 is stellar.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep really surprised me with how good it looked in 3D at 1080/60

Instead of 5 games, here's 5 categories:
1. No hassle /Showcase (perfect games to introduce someone to 3D)
Trine 2 - great to introduce someone to the concept of convergence and toyfication, using the in-game convergence slider. Also possibly the only game that could be experienced by console players with real convergence 3D.
Tomb Raider 2013 - nothing to do, just watch and drool on the floor
2. Fun and graphically impressive games, no fix required
Batman trilogy
Max Payne 3
Witcher 2
Battlefield 3
the LEGO games
Just Cause 2
3. Major games fixed by the community, GOD bless their souls :-)
Skyrim - with mods, ignoring the occasional broken sky
Fallout 3 and NV
Shadow of Mordor
Splinter Cell Blacklist
Far Cry 3
Dishonored
4. Other fixed games I would have been sorry not to play
The Bureau: XCOM Declassified
Remember Me
Kingdoms of Amalur
The Dead Space games, especially 3
The DarkSiders games
The Assassin Creed games
Black Flag and Watch_Dogs (and even Far Cry 3 while driving) suffer from severe stutter, probably due to some proprietary texture streaming technique of Ubisoft, but are still games not to miss in 3D.
5. Games I have not tried yet, but which people consider impressive in 3D
Shadow Warrior
The Mass Effect games
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
Alien: Isolation
Hard Reset
Castlevania 1 and 2
Styx Master of Shadows
I believe with this list, together with Bo3b's list and the Helix Mod blog, a newcomer to 3D Vision would be set for at least 2-3 years, easily enough to surf the current crappy wave of lackluster 3D support, until Nvidia pull their finger from their collective corporate buttoms and either provide total support (as part of the VR craze) or finally anounce the discarding of 3D Vision from their strategic agenda.
Either way, I use this oportunity as I often do, to thank again all the modders constantly bestowing their talents upon us and keeping this beautiful dream alive despite all the constant obstacles due to broken or conflicting drivers.
Thank you guys!!!
My list would have been pretty short and lame without you!
As would have been my life as a gamer :-)

I like the idea of categorized placing of games the best.
My favorite for 3d Vision is Thief, Far Cry 3, Tomb Raider, Max Payne 3, and Kingdoms of Amalur.
For Tridef 3D they I like the Walking Dead, Remember Me, and Need For Speed Most Wanted.
Is that Birth by Sleep for PSP, that looks awesome!
- Trine 2
- Rayman Legends
- Grid 2/Autosport
- Sine Mora
- Sonic&All Stars Racing:Transformed
I have no idea which is best, since it's hard to tell when so many looks 100% awesome in 3D. :P
Maybe Painkiller (last level with paused time and those paused explosions - great) or Mafia 1, back in the days, when I used CRT version of 3D Vision (great days when you didn't have to buy Nvidia blessed monitor to be able to use 3D Vision, any CRT worked and at 150Hz too, not only 100-120)
Lara Croft or Renegade Ops - also awesome.
And there's much more, I just post a quick answer now, probably forgetting about 10 other games that would fight for "top 5". :)
