Even if you swap your 880M from a 3D Vision Laptop and put in a 980M it will not work in 3D Vision. I am not clear, but either NVIDIA or the OEMs are not adding/paying for the "extra" 3D Vision support... Thus, the 900M series does not support 3D Vision in Laptops with 3D Vision Ready screens. It supports 3D Vision with external monitors (but that kinda beats the reason of having a 3D Vision Laptop in the first place)...
