9 series SLI + 3D not working at all (Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q)

Tomb Raider maxed out but with FXAA @1080.
Tested in Win 7 32-bit Home Premium.
Think I have SLI issue in my Win 8.1 Pro
Running 580SLI with latest drivers.
Wanted to check my performance and
any difference between 7 and 8.1 in this regard

It seems like it is a problem very specific to you and a few others... perhaps your motherboard. Have you tried updating your chipset drivers from the intel website, as well as upgrading your motherboard bios?
Perhaps a clean install on an isolated partition is in order...

Hmm, another thing I've noticed, is that in the nVidia test app, GPU2 has about 25-30% percent usage and GPU1 only around 5%. You'd expect it to be the other way around.

@VultureX: Do you have Tridef installed? I seem to remember reading that it disabled SLI in 3D, even if not active.
Outside of that, I'd say it would definitely be worth trying a dual-boot of a fresh install Win7 x64 as a test. If that works, you know it's not the hardware. If it fails, then you know for a fact it's the hardware.

Hmm, I thought G-Sync wasn't supported in S3D? Have you tried disabling G-Sync to see how the tests go?
@Pirateguybrush: Historicaly, Tomb Raider 2013 has had a good SLI profile. nvinspector shows appropriate dx10 and 11 bits set.

I think that may be our g-sync monitor.

I don't have Tridef installed. I'm also not really in the mood to do clean install of Win7 again, because I don't think it will solve the issue. I have a near clean install of Win8.1 and it shows the same problems.

Yea I've done that. But it disables gSync automatically too when you want to run in 3D. You can't have both enabled at the same time.

I don't have Tridef installed. I'm also not really in the mood to do clean install of Win7 again, because I don't think it will solve the issue. I have a near clean install of Win8.1 and it shows the same problems.

Our problem is this monitor .......... anyone has any ideas that we can do to deliver a petition to nvidia¿?

you don't need sli bits for automatic mode. only for native 3d and CM profiles.

There are indeed very strong indications that a driver bug with the Asus ROG Swift PG278Q is causing these problems.
I tried connecting a 3DTV, which runs at 60fps @ 720p.
I had NO rendering issues with SLI in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.
I had NO jittering or rendering issues with SLI in the nVIDIA control panel app.
I ran the GRID 2 benchmark and while I obviously ran 60fps solid with single card and dual card, it seems like SLI was working. During SLI the GPU usuage was about 40-50% for each gpu. During single card the GPU usage was about 80%.
Where can we file this bug?!

Have you tried overriding the EDID? That should work for the time being.
