How to fix/disable shaders in games(DLL,guide and fixes).
  13 / 167
A game that I always liked that had issues in 3D is Risen. From what I remember, we had to disable shadows because they would not render correctly. I also think the sky was at the wrong depth also. I would love to play that again someday with proper 3D!

The latest release of the d3d9.dll supports this:

http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=222386&view=findpost&p=1368382

I have set up injectFXAA using the proxy settings on Amalur along with the 3D fixes.
Thanks for that info, Helix' tool is shaping up to be the best thing for s-3d in a long time :)

I believe HeliX did say he was close on a DX10 wrapper as well, so we'll see!

In the meantime, can you try this for the Auroras? I was able to find the shader and port Boris' code and was able to move the Aurora's depth, but I don't know what the optimal depth is that you guys prefer. I'm generally indifferent to the Aurora as you can see as I didn't see anything wrong with it.

In any case, to change the depth you want:
def c197, 0.3, 0, -150000, 0 //change 0.3 to adjust depth

change 0.3 to adjust depth, lower than 0.1 makes them disappear out of viewport. Not sure if that looks too close to you or not. Let me know what value you think is right and I'll upload that to nexus and bundle in fix.

I'll also link the rest of the files if its OK with Dorkirt, as this should be the last of ENB Series 3D stereo that needed to be ported to HeliX's mod.
Awesome, I ended up changing the value from 0.3 to 50. Give it a shot in game at night and then open up the console and type "fw 81a" to clear the sky and then "fw 10e1f2" to bring up an aurora. The aurora hangs in the sky similar to how the aurora borealis looks in real pictures.

Helix,

Would it be possible to add a hotkey that turns off your fix in game? Then turns back on when you press the hotkey again?

@Likay: Is it possible to change with iZ3D a complete shader using the baseprofiles.xml like Helix does with his overrides? Can You recommend a link where I can find more information about tweaking baseprofiles.xml ?
I found an old usermanual online here. You can also check the appendix part of your iz3d driver user guide. The most easy way to get a grip is to study how iz3d implemented their gameprofiles by looking in the baseprofile.xml. Remember though: Identification and dump of shaders has to be done in 2d with iz3d-driver disabled! It seems like the iz3d-driver changes the shaders (and thereby of course also their crc's) by just being active.

@Kingping : Should be something like this
thanks, but it shows no effect. when i change something the crosshair is always removed... so maybe you're close?

also it would be great if you could have a closer look at these:

@Artox - as Arioch mentioned HeliX updated his dll to support proxy libraries, he has instructions posted too on one of these pages or you can find them on my skyrimnexus link under "*Compatibility with other d3d9 libraries/injectors": http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9234

@3d4dd - Thanks! just trying to repay some of the work others like you have put into making 3D vision better. Still a lot to undertand though, I think HeliX said he may still post more instructions on how to correct depth of objects.

@Arioch- great, glad the Aurora port of ENB worked out the same, I'll try those settings and then update them on my Nexus page.

anyone try this on Morrowind? there is a great all in one graphic/sound/gameplay update and it has the potential to be amazing in 3d

I'm curious about this, as well. I don't think we ever got Morrowind to work well in 3D after the various graphical updates it received.

it works great in 3d with this update while indoors, when outside though there are strange artifacts edge issues. this update is even fully automated

Link link, for me (if you already use any of my files) you can make a final package including those files to make a final/easy to install version.

Also if anyone can help pls, this is the X3 Albion Prelude stars and UI (on same shader?!) Need more depth, i tried a lot of times, and not luck. Thanks !

Ah and i want to see Shogun 2 DX11 Shadows fixed ... :P (SOOOOOOOOORRY LOL)

@chiz and @Arioch thanks for the info on the proxy, it works great. SMAA for Skyrim is really good - the benefits of FXAA without the text blurring. I definitely recommend you give it a go.

I definitely should try fixing Legacy of Kain: Defiance and POP: WW problems with hud, as well as URU (Myst Online). These games are great, but really problematic when it comes to hud.

I also prefer the AA that SMAA provides over FXAA. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any way to increase sharpness and things like tonemap adjustments with SMAA that I can do with InjectFXAA.
