Any 3D Vision "REALLY READY" Screen I can get these days??
2 / 2
It's a luck of the draw thing I feel. My first PG278QR got sent back when I found it had some dead pixels and really bad ghosting.
The replacement is the best 3D screen I have ever had. I think it's your best bet at this time, along with my opinion 1440p is the sweet spot for 3dvision at this time.

Damn, the screen has the same problem like the acer .... it furns in the screen elements in 3D..... WTF ..... is this a problem of the Emitter??? 3 Screens same problem....hecne it could not be the screen!!! :-(
//
Masterotaku tells me that his is called image retention ant that this is normal....WTF .... as he told me it can be minmized with contrast/darkboost things.... and it could and its much more less than with the acer screen i have tryed....this means live with it or die.....WTF in an age we are able to fly to mars ^^

One day of trying i was not able to ged rid of the damn ghosting effect in the upper part of the screen that only happens while moving/camera moving. I have had the same problems with the ACER screen....ref. masterotaku thats normalll
I cant live with that, I have perfect 3D without issues with my Benq xl2420tx .... i have to stay with it and i am much more happy with this one than with ghosting or image retention that costs 500 € only for having WQHD....
The screen is doing back to the vendor.....again....and finally the last return or purchease....of a new screen for 3D....

Cannot see ghosting issues specifically on the upper part of my Asus PG278Q. Just wondering if I'm unable to see it or if it's a bad unit you received?!

Ah now I see. Which game is it? Looks like Kingdom Come? Will also try and see if ghosting is visible on the compass.

Same thing in ELEX its not game dependend. I am back @ my BenQ and everything is working like a charm.... high contrast, nice colors, no ghosting or motions sickness or something image retention... i love it and enjoy it actually ^^
Only thing is that i may can count some pixels because of FULL-HD ^^ but thats what i am used to and live with it as it seems there is no alternative ^^
I may be in thr minority but I actually prefer the Dell for 3D vision. The pixel inversion artifacting seems most tolerable on it, as it is faint vertical lines in areas of ghosting. I had the Asus PG278QR and it's artifacting was in more a checkerboard or honeycomb pattern. It also seemed visible on almost all areas of the screen when up close, not just areas of ghosting. That said, the Asus has slightly less ghosting in general than the Dell but neither has much. It's a pick your poison situation and, fir me, the Dell produced the more desirable 3D experience.
I have Dell monitor and I have some opinion abut. I can not compare with the list written here, but with my previous experience. When I use it in summer (hot temperatures in general) I nocice that ghosting is gone and 3D picture is just perfect. With cold temperatures ghosting show up, but still very playable in most circunstances. I say this because I don't know if there is any way to "fix" this with any trick.
The big problem of this Dell monitor is when using it in 2D mode, and I have no idea if this happen with the others in the competitors lis0t with the same panel. In my opinion, the moniutor has a low contrast ratio, and you have to reduce brightness almost to 10% (that what I do) to get a reasonable good black scenes, but in that case white is not white. Out of the box the monitor literally burns any user eyes with the high brighness.

i have tryed everything and was able to cure the image retention to an aceptable level but the motion ghosting is NOT acceptable for me. My BenQ is still perfect compared to the new screens i have tryed....hopefullyi t will never die :-)
I am sitting at a screen distance of approx 30 cm infromt of my BenQ and playing ELEX with a DSR @ WQHD and ... its a must have experiance compared to the other screens.....no ghosting....everything is fine....and i can simply adjust everything with contrast/colors etc without running into image retention or something else anyoing things...

I have taken some images thought one of the glass of the 3D-Vision 2 glasses....can you see the fucking damn high contrast image and the fucking minor ghosting?? (Ignore the NPC that is moving while taking the picture hence its looks like ghosting but he was a little bit too fast ^^) No ghosting?? it’s because of the image quality because its really barely noticeable in the original image quality.....watch the video above from the ASUS (https://streamable.com/q32yq) and look what this is doing here....I can’t explain that but masterotaku also have had this things....a no go.....and this is also reduced image quality and its so fucking visible....
It’s just amazing ^^ (compared to the Acer and the Asus I have tried) ^^ given, the ghosting was not the problem but moving and have huge ghosting was damn annoying....

Ähm no...You have not read the things completely. The pics are terrible because it’s shot via mobile phone through one of the glass of the 3D glasses. Ignore the things here but notice there is no ghosting. The Video I posted, is also made by the same mobile phone and uploaded hence with low quality....but you can clearly see the ghosting....that means the original ghosting (you can’t see @ the pictures because it’s so barely noticeable in the original high quality pics) is much more than @ the video.
I just want to show how brillinat the BenQ is ^^

I've found that with certain drivers, my monitor will go into some-type of overdrive mode where it's extremely bright and causes eye strain issues/burning. This happens with my Dell and Asus monitors.
But this only happens if the desktop is set at 60Hz, 120Hz results in no issue.

You can check display ports website for cable manufacturers that have gone thru certification.
