My main one is an Athlon rig that is running a crappy old Geforce4 MX440 on AGP 4x with 128mb of VRAM.
My gaming/Media Center PC which is pushing a Geforce Personal Cinema FX 5700 running on AGP 8x with 128mb of VRAM.
Lastly is my server which is the worst of the bunch. It's where I back up both of the computers I just listed and the few others that my family owns. It is running a Geforce2 of some sort running at a stunning AGP 4x and with the godly 32mb of VRAM.
All of the computers in my house are running XP except for my gaming rig which is running Media Center Edition 2005.
I also recived my shuttersglasses. They're MSI Stereo^2-Glasses as the box reads, and I was told it should work with almost any Geforce card from the Geforce4 series to the newest ones.
The problem is this.
My main rig doesn't want to let me use anything else besides anaglyphic 3d glasses (red and green/blue/cyan) but even when I tried those nothing was working. The medical image showed up as two seprate images and when I tired the 3d test application it showed as normal 3d.
My gaming rig, which I was going to use them on mainly, doesn't want to upgrade to any new drivers. Since it is using 67.02 drivers I can't get a matching set of drivers for stereo 3d. When ever I try to install new drivers I keep getting a blue screen at startup.
Ironically, my server which I tested out of desperation worked! The only problem was that whenever the medical test was on it showed the two images flickering violently even without the glasses on. When I did have the glasses on they simply started up and then shut off right as the image began. I tried the 3d test application and the same thing happened again. The higher I set the seperation the brighter and more flicked up it got. So I stopped.
I'm stuck here guys. I can only keep them for 3 days before I have to send them in to get them back in time for the 7 day money back thing.
The glasses and stuff were new and unused by the way.

This part of your message describes very well the problem I am having, though I am not getting switched into anaglyphic mode. I just get the two seperate images in the medical test. I've had matching drivers loaded (the most recent that I know of) and still can't get the glasses to work.
What did you do to fix the problem? I'm getting frustrated with this and am about ready to throw the things and the control card in the trash.

Are you already running Windows XP with the latest drivers ? Upgrading from Win2k to WinXP fixed it for me.

I have that issue on Windows 2k3 - 2 images on medial test. No 3D effect, even anaglyph in D3D, but image is modified in OpenGL. Is there a fix other than replacing system?
