Serious problem with 3d-vision on windows 7 - Please help
Hi!
I upgraded to windows 7 64-bit recently and installed the 1.11 3d-vision drivers.
Two problems occured: The computer froze when I pushed the on/off-button on the IR transmitter while playing a game and, although 3d-vision worked perfectly the first time I used the NVIDIA test application, the image became corrupt the second time and stayed that way, so no depth could be seen. 3d-movies still worked, though.
I installed the 1.13 driver cd and now, trhe ON/OFF button could be hit without the computer freezing. However, the stereoscopic 3d became corrupt the second time I was running the NVIDA test application. Please help me to find a solution. It doesn't seem that stereoscopic 3d works at all in windows 7!
Update: It does work, however stereoscopic 3d becomes corrupt if I choose SLI32xq. Why???

I installed Windows 7 x86, now i<m getting Blue screen every time i enter a game and activate the 3dv.
First, i installed the driver and software from CD, it was crashing at setup of glass. Downloaded the last version from nvidia site, driver 190.62, now the setup and movies are ok, but not the games.
It was alll fine under vista. Running a 280, on a Samsung 2233RZ

I know this wont help, but im having no problems atall with 3d Vision on windows 7
Im running Build 7100 until my retail disk arrives
Im using V1.13 nvidia beta drivers

190.62 drivers gave me a lot of BSOD issues when enabling 3D with the green button or hot key, but 1.13 seem to be perfect at the moment in W7
When you installed these drivers, did you make sure you un-installed any earlier drivers
Goto Nvidia Control Panel, Click system information then Components
See if you have any mis-matched version numbers, sometimes just installing the drivers can end up with things like
nvGameS.dll - Version 8.16.11.9103 (this is an example version number is made up to signify a difference)
nvGameSR.dll - Version 8.16.11.9107
nvDispS.dll - Version 8.16.11.9103
nvDispSR.dll - Version 8.16.11.9107
You should have a consistant version number on all files except PhysX and Control Panel Container files
Thank for the link, i had the v 1.11. I installed the 1.13, but the problem persist. When loading a game, it freeze and process crash. I checked Hide 3d effected when game starts, so now i can play. The game work in stereo, but its when i turn the glass on that the game crash.
I tested with the Beta driver 191.03, have the same problem.
its strange cause i had it work in Beta windows 7.

Now this is even stranger, After working on that problem, i manage to play SpaceForce without any problem, even if that game is not rate and was not tested (btw it look real nice, would class it very good), i can play Need for speed most wanted ( even if i was not able to re-enable wide screen for some reason), and my famous BF2 in local mode only. As soon as i put BF2 in multi, the game crash at map entrance. I there any thing that windows 7 firewall could block or even something to do with punkbuster?
