wouldn't count on that /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Rainbow effect is a lottery , theres a good chance you wont see it after 1 week at all, at least thats how it happened with me.
Also ghosting might be timing related , thats surely not hardware, and anyway , can be compensated.
Well I cant wait for broken/ second hand HD66 HD67 these could be modified with led lightning. That would be way better with shutterglasses 3d because LEDs are pulsed light source and high gain screen is a must anyway.

I think it's after you clock up some hours on the bulb the RBE becomes less?
Interested in the LED mod on projectors, do you have an links I could check out?
Nvidia doesn't seem to care if you are authorised or not, you get no support from them either way if you ask me.
They can't hide behind EDID anymore mwahahah, do it in the OS and I'll flash the EDID on my projector to make it think I'm "authorised" either way I don't care.
dude that's awesome! you guys rock for figuring this out. ill have to read up more on this. can you do any projector? any chance new drivers will take the ability to hack the edid away?

hm i wouldn't be too optimistic about that one too
probably the usual 1080p@24hz/720p@60hz frame packing + input lag
just the same as everything else
the projector/hdtv companies are quiet simply because they see 3d vision as an unimportant gaming gimmick
they fail to see how their sales would skyrocket if they would finally build something better than a fw900

lol yah i know eh, ^ but consider how all the major corporations and large businesses are generally run by an
aging population, you can see why they have such poor decision making skills. direct feedback right
from the consumer is a large challenge many manufactures just choose to ignore. fail.
back to the topic, i would just get a 720p projector for now, under $800 if you can.. enjoy the
piss out of it until the bulb goes, and by then we'll have some really reaally nice 1080p projectors.

Please see my other current thread regarding my PJD6531w I JUST bought today at Fry's that doesn't seem to be working. I'm quite disappointed and frustrated, especially since it is on the list of "qualified projectors" on nvidia's site...and now I'm seeing a ton of posts saying it pretty much won't work at all in 3d. Thats just great.
sooooooo......what on earth do i get? What is the good ol', good quality, reliable projector, that most folks are saying is consistently working with 3d vision and is a good deal. Preferably around 700-1200 bucks but don't let that stop you. Thanks!
