Dead or Alive

Wow thanks for the info DarkStarSword. Watched a couple of your online matches too. I used to be a big DOA player, but the PC version is a huge disappointment to me personally since I haven't bought a Xbox One or PS4. I use an Xbox One controller for all my PC gaming and I have a PS4 controller as well. I have a PS3 stick I can use on any device thanks to CronusMax adapters. As much as I'd like to support the PC version of DOA the bugs, the online and the DLC prices killed all my enthusiasm. It seems like I should save for SFV and Tekken 7 when those eventually come out.

Times have changed a bit in DoA land. There's a mod called AutoLink that doesn't require the cracked version of the game and doesn't require you to replace DLC costumes to get custom costumes. Unfortunately, I can't get it to work with 3d4dd & DarkStarSword's 3D Vision mod. Both systems use a d3d9.dll and both have ini files that go with them. AutoLink says you can rename an existing d3d9.dll to be d3d9ex.dll but, when I tried it, the game exploded immediately. Even when I had 3D Vision disabled in the NVIDIA control panel. Is there a way to do this pass-through the other way around so DarkStarSword's DLL lets AutoLink's DLL run? P.S. I tried using the HeliXmodLauncher but there was no change.

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.
