i found a solution for steam overlay working with SbS/TaB in Mad Max and Just Cause 3 .
Put in the main folder the dxgi (64bits) of Boulotaur2024 (http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4581604) . The sweetfx shaders are not working so no need to put files "sweetfx" , only the dll , and steam overlay appears "magically" :)

We know for sure it works on Win7. Since you chose to go to Win10 and not double-boot, you'll need to do the legwork to figure out what is wrong.
Previous posts in this thread talk about problems, read through them. Pretty sure other people managed to get this to work on 10.

And I was just thinking if I get Just Cause 3 I won't need Win7 for Just Cause 2 anymore! Guess we're going to be dual-booting for a while to come :D

with last 375.76 drivers, the game always won't work with the fix installed in windows 10 x64 :(
i didn't found the information to make it work. maybe it should be nice to update the install notes, for W10 users :(
Hey DHR, that you for the fix, I know you've fixed this game months ago but I've only tried it now.
I have a question if you don't mind.
There seems to be something wrong with the shadows, they're pretty broken. At first sight, that's the only problem. Pressing P to toggle convergence/depth works as intended.
Do you have any idea what the issue could be?
I've DDUed, installed the most recent drivers, set up the game options as indicated on the Helix blog, etc.
There was nothing to do about the game profile, right?
I've tried without the fix, and it's much worse, the land/scenery textures seem to pop to 2D intermittently, it's horrible. With the fix it does not happen, it's just the shadows being wrong.
The last time I've had this happen to me was with the State of Decay fix, and it turned out that a Steam update had broken the shadows. If that's the case now, then fine, I'll stop messing around with it, no need to spend time to re-fix just for me.
But if there's something else, I'd appreciate anybody's input, maybe I'm doing something wrong.
I'll reboot again, I'll try to find another game to see if this happens as well (I remember recently trying TES Online with the new DX11 fix, and I had noticed many broken shadows and reflexions as well, so I stopped playing, but that time I've put it down to the fix maybe not being complete)
Thank you all in advance

@Zappologist
Just tested and all works OK, and now i'm sure is updated, because the last update break the fix indeed.
Disable motion blur and DOF in game.
Also delete all the .BIN files from the shaderfixed folder. The new fix bo3b update to fix the crashes (is the .7z file)...i think this BIN files are the cause of the issue.
The game don't need special profile.

sadly i still have the crash when i enable top/bottop mode, in 3dtv it didn't crash but it is too ugly to play like that!!!

@ukyo31
Use this option in the d3dx.ini:
hook=recommended
And comment this line, like this:
;vs-t125 = StereoParams
;ps-t125 = StereoParams
;vs-t120 = IniParams
;ps-t120 = IniParams
If you are using win10, removing the ";" from the line, leaving:
allow_create_device=2
With the previous instructions SBS/TaB works for me in win7...i just did that for test shadows and all works Ok.
Thank you DHR for your quick reply. The DOF and Blur were already disabled.
I've tried your other suggestion, but no luck.
The shadows do not align, as if the fix formula was incorrect by a specific number.
Looking with each eye at a time, I can see that the shadow of each object is just too much to the left or right of the object itself.
And after each game launch, the bin files appear again in the ShaderFix directory.
Sorry to be a pain, if anyone has some idea, please share.
I'm willing even to try an old version of the fix if anyone has one, just to see if those shadows are ok, in which case at least I know it's not my PC. I've tried your great fix for Hardline, and Mike/DSS's fix of Witcher 3 and they still work, so I hope it's not my setup or a stupid thing I'm failing to do.
