The reboot is out and I got my hands to test it a bit and it def. needs fixing but first things first.
The game uses unity (curr. 5.5.3p2, dx-lvl 11.1), as such the command line option -window-mode=exclusive introduced with 5.3.3 https://forum.unity.com/threads/exclusive-fullscreen-as-a-option-for-game-developers.390561/ does work, 3D kicks in.
Bad part is that if you don't use a low depth (min bar at extender - i believe 3%?) well ... see sceens below while #1 is just a bit higher, while 5 is same pic as 4 but 100% depth. Low depth already gives an impression how good 3D would look here. Performance is nowhere a problem for a gtx 980.
What I did not test out yet: bind some Profile because it's rearely needed and then the profile is already known, so any hints on which profiles to test? (And test CM as there is no profile at all, and well ... it's CM) I guess there isn't any generic unity fix?

Edit: With Dreamfall fix (i know it's not supposed to), but if you deactivate cursor and reactivate original the games looks a lot less broken already, depending on the scene you might already use up to 30%, then on some other 3% again.
