Any news is there coming fix this issue in upcoming drivers update?
Asus answer to me: "It seems to be an issue with Nvidia's drivers, so you will unfortunately have to wait for a driver update"

Hi Guys,
I am just been contacted by NVIDIA support team who informe me than SLI & 3D VISION incompatibility on PG278Q will be fixed with last drivers 358.91.
So I'am just testing on Windows 10 x64 insider version build 10586.3. and finally... it's WORKING!!!!!!
but badly on windows 7 SP1 x64 is not working for me:(
can you try ?
I get 90%+ GPU usage on both of my 980 GTX cards in 3D playing Witcher 3. This is with the 3D fix installed for the game. There are some dips occasionally in GPU usage but I see that in 2D before using SLI on older drivers and other games. This is on Windows 7 with my ROG PG278Q with the 359.00 drivers.

Does SLI scale up nicely ? Do you get a 80/90% performance increase ?

In Witcher 3 it's what I normally would see like when I had my 1080p VH278H monitor. There are occasional dips in GPU usage but it's gotten better it seems with the latest drivers. Framerates are near 50% of what they are when in 2D, which is what I normally see.
Funny how everybody complained about this bug and how nobody cares anymore now that it is supposedly fixed.
Because lot of people got rid of it and the rest went for single GPU. This is the way to do it - instead of waiting for solution.

I have sold my second Titan X, because of maximum annoyance. :(

Yup, so it's finally fixed now? I returned my 970GTX's ages ago.
nVidia's drivers have just become more disappointing to me. All the new features are half-working. My screen constantly goes in and out of ULMB. It switches off gSync when I go full screen and switches it back on when I quit. I have to re-enable SLI to make it work again. I can't have ULMB in desktop and G-Sync in game automatically (they removed this option from the first g-sync supported driver, which was the only driver that worked well) Windowed vs fullscreen g-sync setting makes no difference for me, on full-screen mode it will still apply g-sync in windowed applications. nVidia is an absolute mess.
Also this fix is long over due, my VR kit is coming in next month, powered by AMD :\
