I'm playing in DX11 nearly all maxed out except shadows and post fx at low with Depth set at 9% (5bars on slider when in game) and Convergence until theres some popout (sometimes theres too much but while playing it feels good). There are some shadow mis-alignments but nothing that can't be ignored and the sights are doubled but it's more realsitic to try to get your shooting in between them which is quite fun. The game in 3D, although far from perfect, looks beautiful and more than acceptable in my eyes, still 100 times better than playing in 2D! Give it a go, forget Tridef, they haven't got anything on 3D Vision and I'm sure LucLongleys profile has just as many problems as what I've just explained (no disrespect Luc)

As soon as you go through the first night mission all the shadows begin to blink constantly with day light even with shadows set in low making the game unplayable :(

This is going to be my last post on this topic. There seems to be a pervasive fetish for Nvidia logos and the like here, so I'm going to steer clear for the time being...
If you have the means to make the tridef drivers work with your system, my profile is essentially anomaly free in full DX11 (with the exception of the graphic setting 'water quality' at 'medium').
It is the last profile I (IllLouMalnatisPizza) posted on this link called "Far Cry 3 (MushroomPeppers).TriDefGame"

There's some pics for the skeptics. Follow the instructions and enjoy... a couple taps of the finger, really.

The game doesn't unlock for me until the 4th. I will try it out if there is no other fix available.
Also, I downloaded the pics you posted but they only show up as black images for me using the 3D Vision photo viewer. I will see if there is a 3rd party viewer that will show them.

Tridef doesn't work on my PC and the iZ3D shutter mode doesn't work with FC3 (crashes or completely out of sync).
So I've tested FC3 in Dx9 mode and shadows at "low" with the Helixmod debug.dll and Nvidia drivers. I've tried to disable all the vertex shaders for the shadows. After disabling more than 30 vertex shaders there are no more shadows - as long as I don't move. But when I move some shadows (re)appear and flicker which makes the game unplayble to me. As there are over 800 vertex shader it would take hours to disable one shader after the other and to move to see if this has an effect on this kind of "movement" shadows. Besides from that when I traveled to another area I discovered new additonal shadows that had to be disabled. Also the game doesn't look very good with disabled shadows as it takes place in a tropical scenery under the bright sun. I'm very pessimistic that this game can be fixed but I would be happy if this opinion proves to be wrong...

As far as I can say, the major issue with shadows is due the fact FC3 uses a deferred renderer for lighting (in dx11 and dx9 aswell), resulting in 2d shadows at screen depth.
If you use only 3 or 4 percent depth and place the scene so (with convergence f6) that half pops out of screen, the other half in the screen, and set ingame shadows at low = blurry, it is acceptable. Ambient occlusion must be set to ssao.
I didnt try tridef yet. Maybe someone can confim what luc said about his game profile.

Tridef profiles dont work.....the profile of Luc remove shadows (like generic DDD do), but still you have problems with lights, reflections and others....so its a no go for me.
There are some lights issues that you cant find with helix wrapper (old and last version)...i think this game is not fixable......hope im wrong.

Oh my god I am so disappointed I really wanted to play this game, but I will hold off. Ff Helix doesn't make a good patch I'll save my money for something else.

Yeah, this is very disappointing news. With all the problems we are currently experiencing on FC3 and AC3, this doesn't bode well. Makes me wonder about all the games coming up such as Aliens: Colonial Marines, Bioshock Infinite, Crysis 3, Dead Space 3, Tomb Raider... if they are going to have major S3D problems.
