Pretty sure this is a known issue, and I think there's a fix somewhere in these forums. Someone might remember it (I don't), or you could try searching (I recommend google, the built-in forum search sucks).

The only thing I remember is that some people had success with an older driver version (the 'current' one when the game was released. I want to say it was v. 313.--
It's weird, but I have reinstalled the game several times in various computer builds/reformats, and I have never once had any of the trouble described in these forums... I'm just lucky with this particular game I guess, but it's hard to pinpoint the issue when it works for some and not for others.

i remember time ago something at driver level produce a crash in game because of physx....solution was disable physx or change to low (if i remember correctly). You can try that.

Forcing physx on CPU or set it to low and I already wrote above I tried all suggestion posted in this forum and nothing works. Game freezes at the "press Enter" screen when I press enter.

There's 2 edits to one of the ini files that would solve this problem in the past. If you haven't tried that it's mentioned in the linked thread above.
I had the same exact problem a while back and the ini tweaks fixed it.

Just a data point, I tried this today with my current setup. Including driver 344.11. SLI off in this case.
Worked OK. I did get one crash at the startup screen when I disabled the green NVidia text. Next launch worked OK. 3D looks great when enabled from in-game. I did not install HelixMod for the UI changes.
Couple of things to try- disable 3D with Ctrl-T as soon as you can at launch. The automatic mode by be interacting badly with their built in mode.
Delete the Steam GameOverlayRenderer.dll from steam directory. Disabling it in the settings no longer does anything.

If I mod the ini to "AllowNvidiaStereo3d=False" 3d vision works but lighntnig and dynamic shadows are messed up,the ingame 3d option seems to be without function and switching 3d vision off on title screen the game still crashes. I am using orrigin and overlay is disabled

1. Open %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config\AliceEngine.ini
2. Change AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True to AllowNvidiaStereo3d=False and Save.
3. Run Alice and change Options, Resolution, etc but not 3D and Quit.
4. Open %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config\AliceEngine.ini
5. Change AllowNvidiaStereo3d=False to AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True and Save.
6. Run Alice and it should be fine.

tried already, as I said, nothing works, and for ini "UseMinimalNVIDIADriverShaderOptimization=True" seems to be without function, but the automatic 3d deactivation mentioned in some other thread doesn´t work at all.

Ok, I'm downloading it through Origin and I'll give it a try later. I'm still using 337.88 Drivers, if it works I'll update to the ones you're using and see if it fails.
