Does anyone know of any 3DVision compatible chess games? (Probably not the most popular category) :) I checked out the one listed in the voting poll (chessmaster 10th edition) but it seems its a red/cyan analglyph style 3D only.

Does it not work in 3D Vision Automatic mode?
If not, I might need to revert the votes because our voting for this list is 3D Vision specific, no Tridef, no red/cyan. (open voting would be good for a different list.)

The only games on list that are weird are chessmaster/ witcher 1 so I wouldn't worry about it. I would remove it though, not supported by automatic.
O yea, I just remembered that game Check vs Mate is "rated: Good". I remember reading it in driver notes way back [weird memory]. May have to see if anyone talked about it though... sounds doubtful since its not exactly popular.

OK, cool. I can edit the DB directly so I can remove just that vote without impacting the other votes.
Does Witcher 1 fall into that category too? I'd like to keep the voting list clean of mistaken votes.
I'll let the people who voted know, and why, so there's no hard feelings.
Someone *could* vote for Witcher 1. Its like an honest "good rating". 2D mouse / hud [nametags/item tags] makes it difficult but playable for most.
It's fine to leave I guess since there will always be a certain amount of biased feelings towards a game. I loved Borderlands 2 and it was my most played game in a long time, but it didn't wind up in my top 19 as far as 3D. I see on list its got 71 which kind of surprised me.

I took a look at Chessmaster Demo, and it does sort of support 3D Vision. If you disable their normal 3D mode of red/cyan, then automatic mode kicks in, as long as you have it set to Always. In my case, I'm seeing it with eyes-swapped, so it's on the funny side.
If you have 3d TV Play, you often have the opportunity to swap eyes, so it's likely playable there.
Since this sort of works, I think it's more fair to keep nyguen's vote for this one.

Yeah, Chessmaster is always windowed that I can see too. Go to the stereoscopic Control Panel, and set 3D Vision to Always on. (not certain that's available in 3D TV Play)

Not to be argumentative or anything, but I am not sure why the Witcher 1 game could be considered wierd? I thought Witcher 1 was great in 3D - it's a one of the games from a few years a ago that helped convert me to 3D. It's certainly not in the same category at all as the Chessmaster game. Yes the cross-hair and markers are 2d, but so are many games even now, and there is the odd rendering issue (water), but otherwise the game looks great I think. That being said I would not put in my top 10 either, I got bored of it after about 25hrs, but it would certainly 'qualify' for the list.
How do you invoke full screen mode? It seems to always be in windowed mode so I can't get 3DVision to kick in.
It only works for 3dvision users. Not tv play users.
If your a vision user and still it doesnt, you need to rename it wow.exe or add to world of warcraft profile with nvidia inspector.

Just got Check vs Mate in Steam Sale - it looks fantastic, only a tiny bit of heat haze doubling which I will try and fix with helixmod. This is way better than nvidia's 'good' rating, unless I am missing something...

Lol - I'm going to have a look through each mode/option to see. There seems to be some wierd stuff - if I play it it will be good old classic chess for me anyway.

Make sure you report back. I am looking for a decent chess game that works for 3DTvPlay. I could only find something on Steam called Battle vs Chess. Maybe its a different name in my region.
