Cant get 3d video to work
Ok when I play games it works fine (besides not being able to turn any higher then default deep) but when I play video's I dont get any kind of 3d.

I am using multi different softwares
1. Nvidia Stereoscopic player
2. Stereoscopic player
3. Total Media Theater with 3d blueray plugin.
4. Powerdvd 10.

I have tried to do some leg work but cant find anything.

Based on a different post about a different subject it helped me to discover this problem. Which stinks is nvidia offers 0 tech support but you guys are better at this stuff anyways lol.
The man said that without glasses all 3d will look blurry. Well my video's always look fine they dont h ave any blur at all in them without glasses. I have tried all sorts of different settings to make it blurry nothing has worked.

So what do you think what can i do some troubleshooting steps to figure out this problem. Hearing anything would help at this point. Thanks guys.

And thanks again in andvance for all the help it is much appreciated.

Use the nVidia 3d Vision Video Player. Open the video you want to watch. It will open minimized. Double click the video and it will go full screen, and your glasses should turn on. Use the left and right keyboard keys to adjust depth. Enjoy!

I use the first option, I think it is Interlaced Right first. Each time you tap the left or right button you should get increased depth. Sometimes it takes a couple button taps before it starts splitting.

When I hit left and right it does seem to move the picture but it also progresses the movie do you have a way to do it without progressing the movie.

That doesn't happen to me, strange. The player should save your settings for that video so you shouldn't have to keep changing them.

Yeah, this seems to work the best in my testing. I still find it strange that your arrow keys make the video skip forward. I haven't been able to reproduce that.

I think I must interrupt, I've got goose bumps after reading this.

If you want to use 3D video then you need some 3D material.
Nvidia 3D vision does not transform 2D videos into 3D, there are specific software for that.
You'll need some 3D videos to watch. These videos are special : they contain two pictures at the same time, one for the left eye and one for the right eye.
When opening these videos in a normal video player you should be able to distinguish the two eye views.

If you don't have any, you can download a few sample videos from the nvidia website : http://www.nvidia.fr/object/3d-vision-3d-movies-fr.html
When you open a video in stereoscopic player or the Nvidia player, it will ask you where to find the left and right eye views, this is what the software is asking you : usually the publisher of the video writes the format on the download page but if you don't know the format just open the very same video in windows media player or any standard 2D video player and tell stereoscopic player what you are seeing.
Most videos on the web are either side by side (two views stacked horizontally) or over/under (two views stacked vertically). There are very fw videos that use interlacing (usually very old ones, 3D VHS, 3D VCD or HQFS DVDs)
Here is an example with one of my own 3D clips :

in this case the video is recorded side by side, so you should tell stereoscopic player that the file is side by side.
If you don't know whether it's left eye first or right eye first, just try both, if you made a mistake you can still change the format at any moment in the "file" menu.

Some videos have special tags embedded in them that automatically tell stereoscopic player in what format the video is in so that the player does not need to ask you and just plays the video immediately.
