web based 3d doesn't works :(
Hi,
my system specs:

Win 7 x64 (updated)
3d vision glasses
Geforce GTX 470
nvidia driver 260.99
Silverlight version: 4.0.50917.0
Samsung 2233RZ

Firefox 3.6 = it's properly recognized but image is still in 2d, when i go fullscreen the silverlight fullscreen message appears only at half to the right side of the screen, and i see only the left eye. Note that the emitter light is ON while i'm on the 3dvisionlive website.

Firefox 4.0 beta = 3d vision is not recognized, emitters lights up for a second then it turns off.

Internet Explorer = same as firefox 3.6

Google Chrome: same as firefox 3.6

I've tried re-doing the 3d vision configuration wizard but nothing changes.

All other applications and games runs in 3d with no issues.

I have another partition with another win7 x64, same issue there aswell.

Please help, thanks.

I'm talking about 3dvisionlive.com and similar silverlight websites

First, are you the real tigerman? :)

Second, I have briefly played around with streaming 3D. I got silverlight to work on this, http://racebuddy3d.nascar.com/player3dv.html (in chrome). It was in 3D and looked alright. I also tried youtube, and the streaming stuff at 3Dizzy.com and couldn't get those to work. Every time I launch a netflix streaming movie, which uses silverlight, I get that message to turn on 3D. Of course since none of the netflix stuff is actual 3D I turn it off on the emitter. I barely messed with it, never tried the site you are trying, but it did work once. Basically the same rig except I use a samsung DLP.
First, are you the real " rel="nofollow" target = "_blank">tigerman? :)

For the user that cant get it working.

What drivers are you using?
Is Aero On when you run it?
Do you have the desktop set to 120Hz refresh rate?

OK i've got it working
Basically i had to set window 7 default view with Aero ON and with transparencies.
In this way when i open 3dvisionlive.com in firefox, it switches to windos 7 basic view and it works.

if i try to disable aero manually 3d doesn't works, it has to be turned off by silverlight automatically.

Also it looks like it didn't like my previous hybrid aero setting without transparencies.

Thanks for the Aero advice, everything is good now, i don't say perfect cause there's still the top of the screeen ghosting as usual, maybe one day when you let us manually tune the emitter sync we will fully enjoy the 3d experience :)

hope is helpful for anyone having this issue
cheers
