I'm constantly in the process of tweaking and testing 3D effects after purchasing 3DTV from nvidia.

First with 267 nvidia drivers I was able to successfully play a few games in 3D when I set the screen resolution to one of the 2 3D resolutions (1080p 24 Hz or 720p 60 Hz) and then adjusting the resolution to match in the game. Some games have never worked but I hear they are awesome in 3D. One such game is borderlands.

After updating to 270.61 drivers (and trying some other tweaks like checkerboard) nvidia no longer seen that I had 3DTV activated. After reverting monitor driver back, adjusting back to TV input of HDMI/DVI, uninstalling ALL Nvidia drivers/software (multi reboots required in between), running Driver Sweeper to remove remnant drivers, then installing 267 + 3DTV activation was I able to get things back to normal. I was even able to play Borderlands in 3D at 1080p and then 720p for the faster fps. I go try oblivion and set the 3D resolution back to 1080p and then 720p to check out if I could live with better res and lower fps. I go back to borderlands and I start getting the error I have always had with it.

I was even able to go up to the latest 270.67 drivers, retain 3DTV activation, yet anytime I select one of the 2 3D resolutions from Nvidia control panel my various windows stay "stuck" to the screen almost they they are screenshots that can't be interacted with. Although I can click back on a non-3D res which doesn't show that it is selected, click the nvidia control panel that is still running from the taskbar by hitting windows key and it "refreshes" the selection I made in the nvidia control panel, hit apply and get out of the stuck windows mess. Using the same process early to completely remove all nvidia software from my system and going straight to 270.67 I still get this issue.

What happens, with some games that I have installed like Borderlands and Warhammer Online is the game launches, I hear it, but immediately minimizes and goes back to desktop. The game is still running but anytime I click on it from the taskbar it flashes black for an instant (no image of the game) and minimizes again.

I assumed this issue had to deal with the refresh rate being too high, however, anytime I set the game up to use vsync either in game properties or the 3D settings in nvidia control panel I get the same result.

I can reset settings in borderlands and get it to launch at 640 x 480 with red text saying it is incompatible 3D, as soon as I go up to the 3D desktop resolution of 1280 x 720 the game minimizes, continues to run, and cannot be restored...same with warhammer online.

I've browsed everywhere to see if this issue exists on these forums but I only can find some games crashing...these really aren't crashes because sometimes I can go out of a 3D resolution and restore the game from the taskbar.

Sorry about this being long winded but it is difficult to describe all the issues I've been having with with 3DTV, games and driver updates.

Yes, sorry. I corrected it above, I performed yet another clean install of 270.61 late last night and could adjust my desktop resolution to the 3D 720p without issues, the issue with windows and taskbar seeming stuck or frozen (not completely frozen but again hard to describe) still persists. I was able to play these games at 720p in 3D though this time around. 3D blu-rays in 1080p are still working ok. For the most part I resolved my issues except for 1080p play for some games (low fps of course but some games it is tolerable).

I'm content with where I am at but would be interested in any others with this type of display having issues with manually selecting the 1080p 3D resolution and have open windows/programs become almost screenshot-like. Again, I can click back to a 1080p non-3D resolution on this screenshot-like control panel after I'm in 1080p 3D, hit my windows key to bring up the windows taskbar over the top of the sreenshot-like taskbar, click the open nvidia control panel to "refresh" the control panel that is open, then hit apply to get out of that mess.

I did a complete drivers reinstallation and checked a check mark "Reset all settings", after that everything went to normal. I had also issues with 3D BluRays, now both players PowerDVD 10 and TMT 5 are fine (howerver new PowerDVD 11 is still flat, probably their issue).

Oddly enough with 270 release I have had the odd sticking problem reproducable many times for 1080p...go to shoot a video of it and everything works fine when selecting the 1080p. If I can reproduce it again I'll take a video to post what I'm talking about.

Yes, everything seems fine after I re-installed newest drivers with that option on the setup.
