Ghosting is typically caused by your monitor, but in 3D situations, it is possible upgrading to newer hardware would likely have a positive effect on such a thing. No. I had a 8800GT running on a DLP projector with no ghosting whatsoever. It's entirely down to the display device.

No. I had a 8800GT running on a DLP projector with no ghosting whatsoever. It's entirely down to the display device.

Yes,it can help somewhat (I had some improvement here...stepping up from a 285)
Maybe it's because the card is faster ,or maybe because it uses a different kinfd of shaders or whatever to build up the pictures ..who's knows..
But you should not buy a new videocard for that reason,because it's not 100% sure if it would work for you...
Btw why not save up for the 580 now it's out,that would be a nice upgrade !
