It looks like there is technically "depth" but it's a constant depth where the entire image is rendered flat, but at depth.
Basically like looking at a screen within your screen.

Technically, there's about 6 pixels of faked separation there @ 1080p you'd need roughly a 500" screen to equal an IPD of 2.5" ... :P
