When trying to install these all I get is THE SYSTEM HAS NOT BEEN MODIFIED, to install the program again at a later time. I have tried redownloading and also using driversweeper. All to no avail.

I can't help but think Metro 2033 is made to sell video cards. I mean, it looks good, but I just can't understand how it's so slow for its looks. It's also very suspicious that "High" and "Medium" are so far apart in terms of quality and framerate. I bet there's some goofy extra features in High we could get rid of and have just fine framerates with a pretty good looking game. I don't like the idea of a PC gaming giving up that sort of fine control.

I agree with that. What is with the forcing of AAA or 4xAA? How about 0xAA... I have stereo 3d so I get free SSAA anyway.

I cannot install this driver sadly. Every time i get to message: the system was not modified. I used driver sweeper to clean my previous drivers but nothing helps. I just cannot install them. Anybody else had these problems?

Make sure Windows has installed Microsoft's default driver for your card and reboot. I had the same problem and that's all I had to do.

I ended up downloading the driver only from Nvidia and installed that first. After that I installed the 3D driver from the 1.23 package. It worked for me.

Figured out the issue for those with not modified system problem.
I believe for some systems (probably 64 bit win 7 systems) Not everyone will have it but at the moment it seems because the GPU Driver 197.13 is actually Beta, even though the package states WHQL (If you go onto the main site you will notice that downloading just the GPU driver is a beta driver.)
Anyways if you install the GPU driver and then install just the 3D Driver from the Full CD it should work (You will have to say yes to install Beta drivers when installing the GPU Driver).
BTW, for those who have issues with Windows not installing the proper driver device, it's because if you run Driver Sweeper after, it deletes the WDDM driver which is actually by Nvidia (Windows knows its a Nvidia card obv.).
I'm going to stop using Driver Sweeper unless I have issues, seems to be making more problems than helping.

Armed Assault 2 is broken in this release with 3D Vision.
When the main menu loads up and you can see the background playing, everything just gets brighter and brighter until you can barely make out what's going on. Even after navigation to play the game it does the same thing in-game.
