Race Driver Grid, no 3D vision 120Hz 1080p available?
the maximum I can get is 1280 x 1024. I've updated to the latest patch 1..3 still no joy so I was wondering if this is a known fault with this Codemasters title?
It's a bit annoying with black vertical borders in normal screen resolution for black borders vertically and horizontally in 16 :9 or 16:10 ratio. Excellent rendering of 3-D vision though.

Any confirmation of this been a known issue or solvable would be greatly appreciated.

No problem here for me. I can play in 1920x1080 with 3D-Vision. Driver is v290.36 . Game is patched to v1.3 . Screen is the Alienware AW2310 .
You can try a newer driver but I never had problems with the older ones too. Maybe disabling SLI could help - there have been some driver-bugs in the past - I don't know if GRID was affected too.

I don't know who rated this game as excellent. /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Day-races are ok, but night-races are not playable with 3D-Vision. Lighting is done on one eye only - thats so much distracting!!

EDIT: What cable-connection are you using? Be sure that you have a Dual-Link-DVI cable.

Hello and thank you for your reply. On the desktop I am using the latest driver: 8.17.12.8562, where do I get the 3-D vision drivers only?
I am also not getting an option to apply sli in the Nvidia Control Panel so I think something is wrong there are also.
Yes the cable is dual link as I have no problems with any other 3-D titles. Still scratching my head here but I could do with the right drivers if I could find 3-D vision drivers only?

Many thanks

The 3D Vision profiles and USB drivers are all bundled within the GeForce download now, they started doing that in the 270 or 280 releases. You're running the 285.62, the last WHQL I think. There's been a few more recent releases since then: http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-winvista-64bit-290.53-beta-driver.html

I ran GRID without problems a few years ago in 3D Vision and it looked great; there were some odd quirks when I tried to run it in 3D Vision Surround that I can't recall. I'll try and verify its working for me in a sec. But for you, I'd try and get that SLI issue sorted first. I had an issue with the 290 drivers not recognizing SLI on a reboot and tracked it down to my Realtek NIC drivers, so that may be your first lead. Make sure your Realtek NIC drivers are up-to-date and then see if SLI is being recognized. Also if your board has Realtek onboard audio, you may want to disable that if you're not using it.
