Watching Youtube with Firefox causes basic color scheme when 3D Vision enabled
1 / 2
Hi,
I have a strange problem: When I try to watch videos on Youtube, and 3D Vision is enabled, Firefox causes Windows to switch to basic color scheme. If I close Firefox the normal Aero Design recovers.
There is no problem with Internet Explorer. I have already tried to unistall and reinstall Firefox and Graphics drivers.
Firefox: 3.6.15
Graphic&3D Vision: 267.24
Windows 7 x64 SP1

Yesterday I bought 3D Vision Kit and installed the latest driver from nVidia, Every time I watch videos in youtube the screen goes turn off for a moment and ON again. It's very annoying. I tried to disable plugins and it's not working.
I have the same issues. :(

Yep this appears to be a common problem and may only be solved with a custom patch developed by Mozilla in cooperation with Nvidia to solve this issue, which I assume may not happen any time soon unless some computer nerd out there finds a solution we all can flock to.

Perhaps related to this I´m having trouble hibernating(sleep) as the PC immediately starts again after being put in hibernation.
I have to reinstall the 3D vision USB Controller in order to fix this problem.
Same here. Maybe the NVIDIA 3D Vision streaming plugin for Mozilla browsers is at fault and needs updating?, anyone tried disabling the two NVIDIA 3D Vision plugins for Mozilla browsers?.

I have the same since the last driver update. The color scheme pretty much looks the same as mcw with the reduce ghosting profile... (well not exact but whatever)
It also changes when playing a video with NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player. Did Nvidia implement mcw or something alike in the driver? I do experience alot less ghosting as before.

Did you also disable Stereoscopic 3D in the nvidia control panel?.

Same issue here, with the added bonus that occasionally, when a youtube video is playing the mouse pointer also starts lagging like crazy. Absolutely unacceptable.
Playback is ok in CHROME . . . if you can stand the commercials
Now that I think of it . . . the 3dvision toggler could come in real handy in this situation.
