Mass Effect: Andromeda - 3D Vision Fix (3D Vision Partial-fix released)

Even in the final /official release (which it will be the exact same one as the Trial) they will not change how FrostByte 3 works:( Any changes need to come from DICE as they make the engine. All the previous Battlefields, Sw:BF based on FB engine had this issue. ME:A only uses the Tile Lighting through Compute shaders :( DA:I didn't do this. There is actually a command in FB3 to use the PS for tile lighting (which then we could fix) but is not working, or the shaders are not shipped:( Best bet is to either make CS work - if it can be done - or use CM or a mix between CM and 3D Auto... :(

@murilladas DSS has recently stated that his current priority after his day job, is a "contract" that he has taken on, related to 3D Vision and that most things will be on hold until the contract is completed. @helifax Pics look awseome where you where able to fix it GL

Yeah, I know DSS is pretty busy, hence don't want to bother him with this. I played a bit with some CS in Mirror's Edge Catalyst today and SW: Battlefront and I found how to fix the mono rendering (lights & shadows and bla bla bla) but the cut-off is still there. Looked through frame analysis and can't find out the other CS that handle the bounding-tiles / rectangle. As a result you get missing stuff in one eye at certain angles, etc... If you use a VPN you can start playing the game today. Online/MP component seems to be off though;) No progress on the Compute Shaders. I know what shaders I need to fix, but have no idea how to do it... Fixing the rendering is not a problem in the CS. The problem is making them "stereo" so they render in both eyes and not cull in one (although this might be a driver issue - can't really say). More on the game then the fix: - Galaxy Map is fucked in Surround as you can't change clusters.... No prompt appears when you are over a new cluster.. - Nomad - encountered this bug where I can't literally drive ON THE MAIN ROAD... as the hill is to abrupt... but funny enough I can walk perfectly fine on it... GG ShietyWare! Last game I buy from you... Bioware games were ALWAYS full of crap like this, but at least the story and writing was "goodish"... People BASH Dragon Age Inquisition, but compared to this... That games is 15+ while this is more like 5+ (on a scale of 1 to 10)... This is NOT Mass Effect! Stick to the original trilogy... This is just some crap with a Mass Effect name on it... (I actually believe ME3 had the ending just right, so I am not one of those bashing Bioware - but this game is pretty much abysmal... Story is worse then Risen 3 FFS, as is not focused or tied together... The whole game feels like it was made in "chunks" actually...) This is sad to hear, there's so much potential for a slew of games based on this IP. I really bought into the hype, everything they were releasing prior to launch, looked great.

I now realise my reply from last night sounded a bit too harsh, but it still stands sadly:( A fix is not completely off the table. If anyone is interesting into making a fix please let me know. I have already fixed a lot of the game and know what it needs to be done to get a "3D Vision Ready" title here. The only big problem is the CS (which was a major problem in all FB3 games, starting with Battlefield 4 and so on). Sadly, in this game, it can't be disabled as you basically loose all the lights. (Worked fine or acceptable in other games). So, to fix the CS two major things remain: - Make the same Lights appear in both eyes - fix the auto stereo on some CS shaders that shouldn't be there. - Fix the tiles so they are stereo. I already fixed the Lights to render in Stereo, but due to the above, you can see them only when looking perpendicular onto them. At other angles, they are missing in one eye (problem2) or some lights don't show up at all in the left eye (problem1). oh no rip the dreams... I've played DAI just because it was in 3d with the fix and it turned out to be pretty decent game, all things considered. Without a proper 3d this one might be a hard sell ;/
