Not sure if anyone has seen this - Steam Early Access, $13. Looks 80% good out the box - I could probably sort it out pretty quickly (there are some halos, HUD needs playing with etc).

Amazing detail in this game, but i don't think they took it quite far enough. Who knows, things could change i guess. Is the super exaggerated head bob still in it from the development videos?

Not sure, did not see it. The thing I like about this game is the unifying of the different settings: flying a space ship and fighting, walking around the ship, landing the ship, walking off the ship onto land etc. The game is still early access as well, so hopefully it will get polished off over time.

It seems that a lot of progress has been made on this, but it's still not quite there. Single Player seems to be against bots and no real campaign. Also, unfortunately, most comments suggest it's pretty dead for anyone wanting to play multiplayer.

We already have that, actually! You can play any map with up to 64 AI that are at the very least capable of performing almost any task in the game, at wildly varying degrees of effectiveness. You may enjoy assuming the commander role and ordering squads of em around if you're playing on your own, or just let them do their thing and be a part of the battle rather than the sole driving force. If you do command, you can of course fight in addition to commanding. This all applies online or offline.
We're not going to have a scripted campaign or anything similar in the foreseeable future, but we are planning on eventually adding a way of chaining maps together in a sort of Galactic Conquest style (but with none of the bells and whistles, no resources or anything, and we'll see about persistence between maps). This is how it stands now, but it may change at any time.
