1920x1080p 23hz?!? Who took my 24th mhz? New Build, same monitor
So, I found this rather odd. I have a new build with the same monitor but am getting a lower refresh rate with better parts? I'm not sure if this is due to new drivers, or the fact I don't have a physics card installed. (Previously, I was using an 8800gt superclocked, with my gtx 560 ti. Now just the 560 ti.
Anyone have any ideas?

It's not your hardware. Mine is like this also and I think everyone else's is. It started with a previous driver release(I can't recall which one)
and I think it is perfectly normal. Why it is that way, I don't know.(some kind of technical mumbo jumbo, I'm sure)

I know ATI does this. 23Hz is actually 23.976Hz, while 24Hz is true 24Hz, which you don't want. Seems like nvidia has gone that route also, basically all they've done it rename it.

It's probably just reporting it differently, rounding the refresh rate down rather than rounding to nearest.
