No. The Sony 3D sync port is a different form factor than the cable that connects to the nvidia emitter, so you can't connect the Sony sync signal to the nvidia sync port on the nvidia emitter module. Even if you could, it's doubtful the Sony sync signal would trigger the nvidia emitter.
Basically, the Sony 3DTVs are incompatible with any nvidia 3D product because Sony only does side-by-side mode and nvidia only supports checkerboard. I'm not counting 720P Frame Packing mode because it's hideously ugly.

Then Nobsi announced that he got his Samsung to work in 1080P checkerboard, so I ditched the incompatible Sony for a Samsung. Hopefully you can do the same without a penalty.

Actually checkerboard was the "official" format prior to the HDMI 1.4 standard. Side-by-side is a legacy format for 3d set-up using dual projectors.
