=>32" 120Hz LCD for 3dvision?
Hi there!
Does anybody know if there is a 32" LCD with TRUE 120Hz refreshrate?
I stopped by a electronicsstore earlier today and asked if they had any.
-They did they said, so i brought my laptop and hooked it up on HDMI to various TV´s renging from 100 - 240 Hz and couldn´t select any refreshrate higher than 60Hz on any TV.
Soo, I figure these 100 and 120Hz tv´s doesn´t accept sginals over 60Hz and then does something to output 120HZ inside the TV... Correct?

So the question in this topic is.. -Are there any 32" TRUE 120Hz screens anywhere to buy to use with 3dvision?

Thank you all in advance.

Yes, It's only auto motion plus, something like a inteligent frame, It does a interpolation to 120hz, but it's not native 120hz. It won't work with 3D Vision.
Nvidia has a list of all monitors and DLP TV's that are compatible with this new technology, so take a look and if it's not there it's not compatible.
I'm pretty sure this 32"LCD TV won't work with 3D Vision. I also have a Plasma 480hz and it doesn't work, cause it's 480hz subdrive field, intelligent frame, but the refresh rate is still 60hz.
The cheapest monitors you can get that will work with 3D vison are the Samsung 2233rz 3D ready and the View Sonic (I don't recall which model). The rest are all DLP Tv's and they way more expensive.
Sorry about my english but I think you got the idea.

The only real 120Hz displays are ViewSonic X Series VX2265wm and the Samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ. All those other HDTVs that claim 120Hz, 240Hz, etc. are totally bogus marketing BS. They do not accept a 120Hz signal, they are not actually processing 120Hz. What they have is some internal interpolation so they can (supposedly) make the motion smoother by adding in blurred frames inbetween the real ones. I have tested some of these in the store and they don't even do that well. I wish companies would not do this type of stuff because now it is very confusing to know which are real 120Hz and which are bogus.

I agree!
I wish the manufactorers would just call it motion plus and not involve anything about any Hertz.
Claiming they are 120Hz ia afaik false marketing.
Thank you all for the clarification about this.

Although they're not 32" Samsung makes 2 plasmas (I don't know why they aren't listed on the 3D Vision product page) that are compatible with 3D Vision.

PN42B450 - 42" Plasma, only does 3D at 1024x768 (4:3)
PN50B450 - 50" Plasma, 1360x768 (16:9)

I use the 50" and it works great. Also you can get some great deals on them, I think that right now Best Buy has the 50" Plasma and a 5.1 home theater system for $899

I don't follow these boards that closely, but I've never heard that before. In other topics like this I've never seen it mentioned. I guess I'll do some searching but my guess is I'll be coming back here asking what settings you use during setup.

If 24" will do there is this:

ASUS 24" 120HZ LCD

That plasma would be cool if the resolution wasn't so low. Fine for a living room though. Is this for theater or "office"?

Great, not out yet that I can see, but now I don't have to give up my 24" sweet spot to get 3D.

It is supposed to be out this quarter. I agree, it is hard to downsize once you are used to 24". Even 22" sounds painful. I would like to try a 30" screen, but don't know where I would fit my speakers. Tape them on the sides I suppose...
