Glasses loosing sync every 2-3 seconds Intel cpu / Acer 5360 / 3d Vision
Hello,
I am trying to install 3dvision in my living room with Acer 5360 projector. The glasses are loosing sync every 2-3 seconds (they go from 2d - 3d mode all the time). The steps I have tried to fix this
-Tried latest and older drivers
-Tried another pair of glasses , fully charged, same problem
-Tried going through the 3dvision enabling process , same problem.
-Tried different USB ports same problem
-The device is working ok in my pc with samsung 2233RZ
-Tried putting remote controllers in another room
-Tried all modes when setting up 3dvision (Single PC, Room With other IR devices, Lan)
this is a different pc from the one that has the Samsung. It has a GTX 570 card.
I don't know what else to do , please advice.

The Nvidia 3D Vision emitter is designed so it beams it's signal upwards from where it is sitting on the desk to the users glasses on his head.
The Nvidia 3D Vision emitter is IR, not RF, not Bluetooth. So if you are sitting on a couch, position the emitter on the coffee table in front of you. It easily looses sync, when you are on the fringe of the beam.
The best option would be to buy DLP Link glasses.
At least, this has been my experience.
One thing for sure, you do not want the emitter behind you.

I think I had this problem with my projector setup as well.
When you run through the 3D vision setup.... and it asks you if the room is PC only, PC with TV or if u were in a room with multiple computers - like a lan setting. The one u need to pick is PC only.
Basically those three options determine how much infra-red beam to shoot out. So regardless of any other devices in your projector room, go with PC only. If you had the same problem as me, this should fix it
