So, heres the deal. I did get the 3d vision bundle, including the 120hz monitor. The 3d works great...having some minor issues, but nothing I prolly can't work around. However, I noticed that when testing the 3d, the 3d image works fine at 60hz ( I know, possible eye strain, etc..but atleast that little bit didn't affect me..so putting that aside for now ). I also noticed an older game ( Ultimate Ride Coaster Deluxe ) defaulted to 60hz and the 3d was great there too. My primary monitor is a samsung 30" that runs at 2560x1600. Needless to say, a 22" at half that resolution just isn't that great....but the 3d is. If I try to use the 30" however, it recognizes it as a "generic CRT" in the "set up stereoscopic 3d" section of the control panel. I can also choose a generic 3d DLP TV. Neither of which will show 3d at all..the glasses won't even begin shuttering.
What I'm getting at is this: Is there a way to force it to run at the LCD 60hz settings? 3d on the 30" would be awesome...even if it could only be done for short periods at a time.
