Looking for a 3D capable 55" on NewEgg...
I have a NewEgg credit card so I'm limited right now to buying the TV from them.

I want the following, minimum: 55"+, LED backlight, Local Dimming

...and of course nVidia 3D compatible! I know the Toshibas that say 240Hz are total BS and faked, the 8ms refresh is the give-away in the specs.

So my question, since every current compatible TV is not listed on nVidias site, what is the easiest way to know for sure? Exactly what Hz and refresh is minimum? 120Hz/4ms?

Thanks! I'll of course be going from my nVidia card to my TV with HDMI.

EDIT: Is the Samsung UN55B7000 good enough for the nVidia 3D?

I dont know if this is on newegg but its on TigerDirect but the Mitsibishi 60" and above start out at 1000$ which is hella cheap,
and all of them have 3D ready, you can even hook up your PS3 or Xbox and play in 3D.

Yeah after searching I've just decided to get the Mitsubishi WD-82837 82"from another source ($3,085 shipped!) then get all my other stuff from NewEgg. NewEgg just has a crap selection and no matter what I got that they offered I would regret it for one reason or another.

Too bad I can't get my PS3 to be 3D lol!

We still don't know if the PS3 3D upgrade and 3D blurays are going to work with the Mitsubishi DLPs.

But if thats not a concern, they are a great buy for sure.

June 10th is the day when many 3D DLP owners hearts will broken...or we will be laughing our asses off at people spending 4000+ dollars on 55 inch 2010 3D TVs.

After reading I need a TV that is HDMI 1.4 and the 82" Mitsu I was going to buy is only HDMI 1.3a. No idea if a TV firmware upgrade will be issued to make it 1.4

Until I know that, I'm going to hold off. Having GT5 on the PS3 in 3D is my #1 concern.

Mitsubishi 3DC-1000 3D adapter is the solution for solving HDMI 1.4 problem. Check out the info on the following links.

Nice. As long as this add on isn't something like 300 bucks and works like it says...life is peachy.

Reading the articles it looks more like a converter to get 3D out of a non 3D Blu-Ray player. If a PS3 is already outputting 3D and requires a TV with HDMI 1.4 I don't see how this could help. I guess I'll just wait and see.
