I am not trying to be a troll or anything like that, I have been playing 3D for some years and I love the effect when playing a game, but in this post I want to ask about possible negative consequences of using Nvidia 3d Vision. It is not my intention to scare anybody, but only to be informed, to decide properly if it is a good idea to play for long periodes of time. I have doubts about some aspects related with this hardware:
- How does RMF (radio magnetic field) affect us when using Nvidia 3d Vision? Anybody has measured it? I am getting rid of different wireless devices at home (only those not very important or without a wire solution), to prevent possible negative consequences.
- What about the glasses as wave receiver located so close to our brain? i.e. everybody knows that it is recomended to use the mobile phone at some distance because of negative consequences of the radiation. What about Nvidia 3D glasses? Using 3D glasses for 1hour is something like talking with the mobile phone just in yout ear?
- What about the different monitors? which of them is less harmful? anybody has measured that? I am talking about radiation/consumption, blue color filters, etc. Is it really harmless the use of a strong magicbright through the glasses? (for the moment I still use my old 3D monitor Samsung 2233RZ).

I work out in my gardens a lot. I think the radiation I get just from the sun and growing my veggies is billions of times more than anything electronic in my house is going to give me. So I've never even thought about it, let alone have it worry me. I'm definitely not going to stop playin games in 3d for sure. just imho. :)

Also you can tell how low energy the receiver is just based on it running 40 hours off that tiny battery (which is also powering the 2 LCDs in the glasses). The router you're sat next to, or the wifi on your laptop (both of which do use microwaves), is probably 1000x worse for your health, but still probably harmless in the long run.

I really wonder if it's even possible to get rid of wireless in your life (like OP is trying to do). Unless you live on a farm. If you download a wireless app (to determine which is the best channel to set your router to), I've got at least 10 wireless routers that are strong enough to register levels. And I'm not even that crowded of a neighborhood. It's why I've basically accepted the fatalistic notion that I hope these things truly are safe. Because you can't escape it even if you wanted to. If you're talking eye strain, yes. It can be an issue. From my experience, it comes down to this: the flickering does seem to make the eyes work harder. So if my eyes are already fatigued and dry, it's a bad idea. Because it'll make them worse. If you're eyes aren't already in a borderline dry state, I can play five hours straight without agitation. For me it's more about revealing when my eyes are in rough shape to begin with.

So I think that eye strain and 3D is probably a personal thing where everyone's different.
