Well done Nvidia. I had the most amazing Bad company 2 3d experence on my panny VT25 using the beta drivers 3Dtv play.
The keyboard short cuts for 3d settings worked great.

Im running the 480GTX in sli on ccore i7 extreme. Bad company at 720p with 32csaa and 16AF fargenasome. I could not even tell it was not 1080P.
Yeah i have the rez set right and refresh rates, got the tvplay logo when i plug in my emitter, tried 1080p at 24 as well but still no luck.

Its weird, my tv detects 3d and swiches to 3d mode, but then its almost like the 3d is there but at 2/3% depth, basically flat, nothing will change, depth or convergance, with shortcuts or emitter, also no profile shows up as the game starts, even though my tv is detecting 3d mode.

I'm in the same spot as you. I can also see the 3DTV Play logo and the 3DTV indication for monitor display once I set my Samsung Plasma 3DTV as primary display.
My TV also detects 3D and swiches to 3D mode when I set one of the 3D resolutions for the TV, but no game will be displayed in 3D, no information about 3D settings that you use Ctrl + alt + insert has appeared If I try to play the games in 3D using the TV.
Dave, Your TV is not displaying the games in 3D, there's no 2 to 3% depth, there's no 3D mode at all, you only think that there's some depth cause the TV glasses are on and it sometimes gives you that impression by looking through the lenses, but it's not 3D. I can say that for sure, cause games like Just Cause 2, look a lot different in 3D, even if you set the depth to 0%, and in the TV it looks 2D, no 3D effect. So, we haven't been able to display games in 3D using our TV's.
The games's graphics always look better in 3D, so getting the same graphics you get in 2D, shows no 3D effects.
One thing that can make you sure that the game is not in 3D, with 2 or 3% depth, is because no hotkeys shortcuts for depth and convergence adjustment won't work, so that's a sign that the game is not in 3D, just 2D. I can't make any hotckeys work at all using my 3DTV, so it's 2D, simple as that.

BTW, my 3DTV is a PL63C7000 Samsung Plasma 63" same as the US model PN63C8000.

I can see the Nvidia logo in 3D, and I can also go through the Wizard Setup and all the tests will performed in 3D, no problems there, but at the end of the process, when you see the 3D pictures in slide show, I don't see them in 3D, I just see 2 images over and under, instead of the 3D effect.

In games, I've tried 1280 x 720 60hz and even 1920 x 1080 24hz for both TV and games settings and still I can't get to seem any of them in 3D even If I have the TV in 3D mode and glasses on. I've tried both 3D resolutions for the TV, 720 and 1080p.
I've reinstalled the drivers and still no success. The drivers seem to be working fine for my Alienware 120hz display, I've played Mafia 2 for a few hours, but I had a crash during that time, and while using 1.34 drivers, I've never had a crash in this game, so I'm not sure how reliable those beta drivers are.
About 3DTV Play, those beta drivers just don't work for me at the moment. At least not for games, only Nvidia 3D tests that I've tried in the Nvidia control panel.

I hope the final software is released this week. Enough of waiting...

How did the games you've tried looked in 3D at 720p??? Do they still look gorgeous??? I'm asking you that cause in 2D the games don't look really good at 1280 x 720 in my TV. I have a 63" Plasma 3D TV and 720p makes the graphics look alike a console game, it takes a lot of the beauty and details. I know 3D makes the games's graphics look a lot better than 2D, so maybe at this resolution, 720, they may look better than what I'm expecting. But in 2D I didn't like it at all, in 1080 it looks a lot better.

How big is your Panny VT25??? I know 50" and plus requires 1080p resolution for games to look crispy at least in 2D, not sure how it goes in 3D.
Do you still think the games you've tried in 3D looked better in your Panny VT25 720p compared to how they look in your 120hz display at 1080p???

When I set the TV resolution to 1280 x 720 in the desktop, it looks horrible, the fonts, texts, pictures, it all looked a little blur. When you go back to 1920 x 1080 it all looks crispy and sharp again, so that's why I'm worried about this gaming in 3D 720p.

I have a Panasonic VT25 as well. Do you a need to have an ir emitter plugged in to make this work? Or will it just work with a stock TV?
Well done Nvidia. I had the most amazing Bad company 2 3d experence on my panny VT25 using the beta drivers 3Dtv play.
The keyboard short cuts for 3d settings worked great.

Im running the 480GTX in sli on ccore i7 extreme. Bad company at 720p with 32csaa and 16AF fargenasome. I could not even tell it was not 1080P.
I have a Panasonic VT25 as well. Do you a need to have an ir emitter plugged in to make this work? Or will it just work with a stock TV?

I have the emitter hooked up. Its dim green. When I load bad company 2 at 1080p, the driver shows me an overlay which states incompatible resoloution. No worries, I switch the game to 720p upon game restart, I get the overlay which states the game is good for 3D hit ctrl, alt, ins to remove overlay. Click my glasses on and wola 3D gaming. All the keyboard short cuts work in game. With the af and aa cranked up it looks great. For the person asking about image quality. The game looks better then checkerboard 3d on my dlp tv.

I think everyone having issues should just wait for the official release and stop posting negatives about a beta product.

Check the 3dvision blog after release for a full review. The blogger ther, Bloddy, does a pretty good job of explaining/ reviewing 3d stuff

its not about posting negatives mate, they are beta's and i am having problems with them, i am just trying to tell the problem i am having, as is Franc, I know they are not supposed to be released, but i have the funny feeling the betas that are coming i will have the same problem with, I hope not though.

I am not meaning to be negative about the drivers, just very suprised that i am having problems with a pansonic plasma that was a huge part of the tour set up.

Anyway, here's hoping for a problem free 3d soloution for us all soon! :)
