3D Fix Manager / 3DTV Play - change to game resolution does not work & SideBySide has no effect
Hello, I have a 3D-passive Toshiba 3D TV confgured for 3DTV-Play. My 3D Fix Manager does not change the screen resolution on 3D game startup. I run in "TV" profile and configured for 3D-games a resolution of 1920x1080x60Hz. But at gamestart the screen stayes in my desktop resolution 720p. Even in game profile a overwrite of 3D-game resolution to 1920x1080x60Hz brings no effect. -> All my game startups stay in desktop resolution 720p. Can annybody tell me why ? My "3D display type" is : 3D Vision / 3DTV Play / generic CRT. ------------ The next thing is my experimently setted SideBySide 3D-Format is ignored. I have generally only native 3DTV-Play hdmi 1.4 3D output Thans for help, André

3DTV Play only supports 720P@60 or 1080P@24 or 1080iCheckerBoard@60. Instead, try this https://3dvision-blog.com/7163-make-your-passive-3d-monitor-or-3d-hdtv-work-with-3d-vision/

.. yes the EDID override I have been done with "Acer HR274H 3D Monitor EDID Override.inf". So I am running Acer HR274H. When I manually set desktop resolution to 1080p in Control Panel my Toshiba displays games in 3D fine. But I want to have desktop resolution of 720p. And when I set 720p the change to 1080p @60Hz is not performed by 3D Fix Manager on game startup :( Currently I must change it manually to 1080p in control panel... edit: I have tested 1920x1080x24Hz in 3D Fix Manager. No effect. Resolution stays 720p on game startup.

Have you tried the "Test stereoscopic 3D..." option in the control panel and then select the resolution/refresh rate and hit apply? Note: this is not the "setup wizard"

Now I have activated the option "Desktop resolution 3D mode" to 1080p. With this the resolution change is performed on startup :) ..Solved But now on closing game the back change to 720p is not performed. (I have set Desktop resolution 2D mode : 720p and Desktop resolution on closing : 720p)

Ok, the back change is not so importand.. Does anybody knows why the SideBySide option has no effect on a 3DTV-Play passive 3DTV ? Has anybody setup SBS over 3DTV Play ?

Actually you should choose 3d display type "Line Interlacing / Optimized for Geforce". For changing back to 720p after closing a game set "Desktop resolution 2D" mode to 720p. In "Nvidia 3D Settings" tab also enable option "Auto disable Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D when closing games" Side by Side works with 3dmigoto fixed games only (DirectX 11)

Brilliant, with selected "Auto disable Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D when closing games" the back change is performed. Tread is Solved. ----- The last problem I have is that I must upside down my glasse via 3DTV Play. So I set "3D diplay type" to LineInterlacing And "3D format" to "Reversed 3D Vision". Even with "Reversed 3d Vision" I must change the glasses upside down.
