NVCleanstall
NVCleanstall lets you remove individual components from the NVIDIA driver, to only install what you actually want.
Supports Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 32 & 64-bit
It will download only the selected components, which should lead to faster install times, especially on slower connections.

Hmm, might allow 3D Vision to be kept and not uninstalled?

I have a completely rudimentary understanding of anything driver-related, but I was wondering the exact same thing!
I *assume* we'll still get a version mismatch problem and my gut feeling is that there is no way around this.
This really makes the whole thing feel real now :-(
I randomly came across that while looking for something else, I never heard of it before. But if nothing else, it provides an alternative to DDU that may prove to be useful.
