Hello Community,
Someone is selling an LG OLED 65" C6P 3D 2016 4k TV around my town for $2000 Comes with 4 3d Movies, 4 pair of glasses and extended warranty.
Is this TV compatible with EDID overrides? and is it a good 4k Tv for 3d? last, is this tv worth the $2000 price tag they are asking for?
Thanks in advance all,
Sounds like great price (as long as it works - my 65E6 already failed, but it was repaired under factory warranty). Yes, it is quite compatible with this forum's shared EDID mods (recommend joker18's great updated mod).
Also, transportation may be an issue, especially if the seller does not have the original packing material. The TV is primarily glass. In fact, when the LG techs were working on my TV, they did not remove it from my house (their normal practice), for fear of breakage.

One of its two main boards had an intermittent problem that kept the TV from turning on (power-on LED would only blink, no picture/sound). They finally replaced both boards - no more problems!

If something happens you will at least be able to check Ebay and they might have another board you can buy cheaply.

I paid 4000$ For it..
If I were you I wouldn’t think twice assuming everything is ok with this specific tv..
It’s perfect with 3d vision.
Amazing experience I have with it

The last LG's seem to have big problems with the polarisation layer on the screen.
I've read so much about crosstalk and seen really bad photos from this TV's.
In german "stereoforum" there was one user who tested 10 TV's in the shops near his home and he found only one that was acceptable.
I'm not willing to test 10 or more TV's!
That was the reason I decided to buy a 3D projector. Im not ready with my decision, but the Benq W2000 seems to be a good one.

I can tell you I used the projector for quite a while and the current Full HD projectors just don't supply enough light for 3D and due to teh size resolution perception is low , and I moded my edid to have FULL HD quality image (1920x750).
What an LG 4K oled like E6, c6 offer is in a different league.
PS: I bought my 65E6V for 2000 Euro from the store. It was a store display in perfect condition, perfect screen uniformity and not IR or burnin.

So I missed out in this deal. and now I regret it dearly.
I have found another but the model is 65EG9600 for the same price.
Im not familiar with this model. is it just as good? are there any differences?
I checked on LG website and it is Oled 4k 3d TV 65. http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-65EG9600-oled-4k-tv
Would this be a good TV for 3D vision if anyone knows? Thanks!

I very want to try to play in 1920х750 too, but the W1300 model is long throw, and I prefer short throw models., It seems, the W1500 model is a full analog of W1300, but short throw? Whether your EDID will work with W1500 projector?
This is an older model and does not support HDR, has higher inputlag, I don't think it is worth 2000$
Thanks Joker. that says it then. Thats why I always check on these boards first before buying anything 3D related.
Hi guys,
I am looking for 3Dtv too, however only 55" E6V/C6V LG models are available atm.
I know bigger is better, but how do you find the 55" compared to 65"?
Also could somebody recommend different brands/models to look for?
I want to get 3Dtv before they disappear.

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530
And still have alot of spare money for a ton of popcorn.
