AC Rogue 3D vision problem at 1920x1080
Other resolutions seems fine but 1920x1080 (my monitor's native) looks like this when 3d enabled, if disabled is okay: How can I fix this??

From the top of my head: That looks like a very strange Resize Buffers failure from the game or the 3D Vision driver. Does the game by any chance have any upscaling/downscaling options? (Like a resolution factor)?

I don't remember any, but I will check and post by. In the meantime, assuming theres no such option, may be related to my dual screen setup? Although my second screen is plugged to Intel Graphics, not nVidia. Also, may it have anything to do with borderless windows? I've tried both, although it doesn't seem to do anything when changing the property. All other resolutions adjust just fine, and also, disabling 3d quickly makes the screen fit perfectly, Thanks! EDIT: Also, every time I launch the game, the resolution is 'undefined' (I think if I left select other resolution than 1920x1080 then its fine but I'm not 100% sure). I don't have any ppp settings. I have tried checking it in exe's properties anyway, with no luck. Should the resolution be 1920x1080x60 or 1920x1080x120? I guess 120... EDIT 2 I had a 1680x1050 monitor before, and sometimes when changing resolutions, the game seems to default to that one. Is there any cache that may be the problem? I have deleted the ini but I can't find any oter...

I would try to use DDU and purge the video driver & reinstall it. This should remove any left-overs :) That is a strange behavior that I haven't seen but is clearly something is confused in the driver. (The window seems to be 1080p but the RTV seems to be smaller like a 1680x1050 size)

I passed the DDU and installed the drivers again but it remains the same. I've also set no upscale in nvidia settings. All resolutions render fine with 3d activated but 1920x1080. Any other ideas/stuff to check? Thanks... EDIT Maybe a log somewhere? Or a tool I can diag with? Maybe some app is disturbing? It doesn't make much sense, since other resolutions seems fine... EDIT 2 Al least now resolutions is fixed, not 'undefined' like before... EDIT 3 Sorry, forgot to say that I have uxthemepatcher (I'm using a theme). I didn't said it before because I didn't think it would be related, but at this point... I have to consider every bit. EDIT 4 When launching through uPlay, theres a small beep, what is that?? Thanks again.

This is UNVELIEVABLE, I downloaded a torrent of the game just to test another build, and it works fine!!! May uPlay be interfering somehow? I'll try cleaning Windows cache for old monitors. Any other clue??

Try removing your game save to somewhere safe and starting it like it's the first time. You might also need to go into the game folder and delete any config files, then re-verify the integrity of the game files, like on Steam.

I'm gonna try uninstalling the game, then clear windows display cache, then install the game. I have tried removing the config ini and also savegames, but when I launch the game the save sync from ubisoft servers. I tought of removing that data, since I only have a 4% of the game played, but uPlay doesn't seem to have that option and also, it would be weird that Ubisoft stores my local pc settings along with the saves xD

No luck in resetting windows (don't know how to do it), I reinstalled the game and it is the same. Maybe there's a registry key somewhere bothering, but I haven't found anything yet... Do I have to play with a pirated copy? Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

I deleted some old monitor keys here: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration Also, removed one key that referred to AC: Rogue (don't remember which one, but in any case it didn't look like anything related to graphics. I also checked 'show hidden devices' in devices manager and uninstalled old monitors. Reinstalled the game, crashed a few times, rebooted a few times and it seems to work now. Don't know exactly how I did it or when, because all I describe above had no success until it had, out of nowhere (apparently). Actually, when starting the game, the screen seems to expand itself to the right like if another resolution were to kick in. But this time, the game launches just fine. In any case, thanks to all the people who has helped me in this thread!

As I told you, it is now fixed, although I don't know exactly how. I'm now playing at DSR 2715x1527x60, and I'm not gonna play around with resolutions in the game any more haha. So thanks again to all who helped me!
