3DTVPlay issue with my new samsung 2011D8000
Ok I originally owned a 2010 3d plasma from samsung and had 3dtvplay happily working. when the witcher 2 came out i removed the 3dtvplay etc as this was giving very poor frame rates.

now since getting that game i have had a replacement of the 2010 3d plasma to a new 2011 3d plasma the d8000 (just found out that there is no checkerboard options on the 2011 plasma's)

however now that i have finished the witcher i decided to reinstall the 3d play software.

i went through the usual stereoscopic set up and had the nice logo appear in 3d - however i cant get any of my games to work in 3d. the options in the nvidea control panel are greyed out and it is recommending i buy the 3dplay software despite me running the downloaded 3dtvplay activation program .

i have the option to enable stereoscopic 3d but nothing happens when i run a game.

does anyone know what is going on as i would like to get back into 3d gaming on my pc

I would try downloading the 3DTV Play updater (link in one of the sticky threads) and running that, then, if that doesn't work, uninstalling and reinstalling 3DTV Play, then uninstalling/reinstalling everything Nvidia....

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530

nope that does not work.

the odd thing is that in my programmes list i have a program "enable 3d vision" and disable 3d vision.

nothing happens though.

are the new 2011 3d plasma's supported
