Watch out for ubiart Framework engine games in 3D!
As the topic title says, You all know Rayman's last 2 series including legends are fantastic in 3D. I tried Child Of Light and that game also looked great in 3D.
Try them if you love side scrolling sprite animated games.

The games are really widely regarded for great reason.
Rayman Origins is one of my top 3 greatest gaming experiences of all time, specifically because of 3D. It completely blew me away and made me a 3D convert.
I got this 120hz monitor for the smooth framerates, but after seeing real, 60fps 1080p 3D, I couldn't turn back.

According to articles dated last year, the CEO of Ubisoft stated that there will be much more UbiArt games to come. They're planning another Prince of Persia game using this engine. There's even a petition going around asking Ubisoft to release UbiArt framework as open-source.

Open source seems to be asking too much. But how amazing would it be if they did something like the Unreal 4 licensing deal?
Ubi probably views it as an asset to differentiate their games though.
Here's another one. Due to be released on 6/25/14.

Bah! An adventure game ... I need Metroidvanias! :) I love this engine, it looks incredible in 3D ... I have Rayman Origins, sure it's fantastic in 3D but I'm not much of a fan of the series/gameplay, Child of Light's gameplay looks even worse to me, not a fan of RPGs.
