Take a look at Bloody's blog on http://3dvision-blog.com/ and look at his reviews too.

I started out with 3 X 2233rz, and a couple months ago I ended up buying 5 X (2 machines) Planar SA2311w after reading Bloody's talk about lack of ghosting on the Planar. I haven't had either of the 2 you're talking about so can't compare, but I'm quite happy with the ones I purchased. As far as a projector, the Acer H5360 has been very good to me. Have fun!

I bought Acer hn274h cause it's the only 27" 3d monitor and very satisfied. Picture is very clear, almost no ghosting. Cons - angle view is not adjustable.

I have bought the Benq in January, and I've been extremely satisfied with it.
There's nearly no ghosting in most games (with many of them having none at all. This varies a lot from monitor to monitor, as it has been demonstrated in the other forum where I write, among many 3D Vision users).
It is a truly excellent monitor, probably surpassed only by the Planar one (speaking of the 23-24 inches range).

Well if you want my opinion... then I would go for the Acer GN instead of the GD....

The Led background lighting give you a very good picture quality in 2d and 3d...
I compared this monitor with the Samsung XL2370(2d led) and the colors were almost exacly the same...
But the Acer had better darker colors and less bleeding of the led's...

It has some color ghosting in some games, but you will not see it everytime, like I did some times with for instance Battlefield sky's and my old Samsung 2233...

The GD is not bad..,better then the 2233,but the GN is even better !
If you cannot get it yet, then go for the 27 Inch or wait for the GN245..

Just my opninion...

Here's is a screenshot of MOH, taken thru the right lens of my glasses...

Btw the strange coloration on the trees is caused by the camera..,it's not ghosting.
Well it actually is...but the timing of the camera makes it look worse...

In real I do not see any ghosting on the trees only a little color ghosting on the right, just above my gun...

To bad you can't see for your self...because the quality of the picture is so much better..only downside is the color ghosting.

All of those have unacceptable image quality, only good for low standards.

The forum just forced me to log in and lost my message. I won't type it again, but after thinking for a few days between these two I just bought the BenQ.

i say playing the lottery with the benQ because some people report backight bleeding and others say its great

wiht the Acer people report oversharpening and a halo around texts.

Pootis: so you bought the benQ XL2410T ? does it have Backlight bleeding??? hows your view?

edit: the ACER GN245 is not availiable where i live

gosh i have to decide which one......
