geforce 3d vision double vision its like granny glasses
I spent over $1000 dollars for this 3d vision experience. 120hz monitor, the actual 3d glasses, and I had to buy the degrading windows vista (it dramatically decreases your draw distance in any and every fps game compare to xp).
The stores’ demonstration of different in-game screenshots looked bloody amazing when I put the glasses on to see the slideshow.
But now after spending more than $1000 on this and I properly installed it, i see its not like that at all
i find it extremely difficult to see anything unless I don’t move in the game. I have to focus in on one spot with my eyes (like the middle of screen for example) and if i twitch my eyes fast to see enemies at the side, i see double of everything and I lost focus.
its like wearing really thick glasses and i dont even waer glasses
Installation was a success, compatibly win, and its not ME that’s the problem either because when i did the test thing from the cd (like do u see a triangle or an octagon?), it said im good to go and everything is a success.
There’s NO SUCCESS HERE!!!!
i turn down the 3d vision to the lowest so i dont see double of everything (unless i keep my eyes focused in one spot of the whole screen only), but its like… whatS the point OF 3D GLASSES if its so low almost like not even on... im exhausted...
i cant return em because i stepped on the glasses and returned em for a new pare already because I WANT THIS TO WORK.
is there anything that i got to do manually, like check this, disable that, go to... and type... ??
I feel like making a youtube video titled "Hitler installs 3d vision" (hope u guys get that one)

what games are you trying them with? some games are easier on the eyes than others (Sims 3 being a BIG strain when I tried it)! perhaps you just need time to get used to them - your eyes definately get better at seeing 3d like this with time... start off at low depth while you're adjusting to it.. I had mine a couple of weeks now and im still very much getting used to them - my eyes are still getting faster at adjusting I think, and I have spent maybe 30 hours playing 3d over the past 2 weeks...
what lighting are you playing under? I find playing in the dark is the easiest - during the day I have to draw the curtains or its too much of a strain in the bright light

Here's the first part of Hitler's 3D Vision install for you: /haha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':haha:' />
1- Use the Nvidia's test logo to make sure the stereoscopic 3D (S3D) effect is adjusted to your liking.
2- Once that done, proceed to your favorite game that's known to work in S3D for all or most people on this forum.
3- If it's still having problem come back to post with details and screen shots. I'm sure lots of people here will be happy to help you get going with the setup.

Hm.. first of all, I don't think you should blame your problems on anything else.
Second of all, have you tried using the convergence settings yet ?

Of those games I have only tried Crysis and it was not very good for me in 3d really - although that was on the first day I got 3d installed and it may be that my brain could make more sense of it now..

as I bought my set, I feeled similar. The first games I tried weren't impressing or didn't work at all. So e.g. LOTRO and Prototype.... So I tried every old and new game I had..., like "lord of the rings, battle for middle earth 1 - And that worked very well!! I tried "The Witcher" - Great! And then the new driver was out... and LOTRO and Prototype became the BEST and really impressing games I own! Meanwhile testing the other games, I (and my eyes) get used to wearing the glasses and the effect became better and better...
So, TRY different games and game demos, e.g. Batman, Order of War (looks coool zooming in the battlefield) or try the 2 weeks free LOTRO.... And there are many others.. (I will describe in a different post soon, all my tests and imressions..)
So, don't give up too fast - it's worth it!
