You put those commands in your user.ini file in your documents folder under the viewport section, where your resolution is.
Default convergence for inside and outside appears to be 2 and raising those numbers will increase the convergence for more popout. Obviously there is some trial and error with reloading the game to see how it looks and getting it to your preference.
Oh, you can also carry this out to the tenth digit also, like 2.5 for instance to find your sweet spot.

Arioch - this made my day. Maybe even my month. I can't thank you enough for posting this.
It looks utterly stunning with these settings. Real depth. Real pop-out. Thank you.

Thanks Arioch for your reply, I still haven't got to play the game yet but it sounds like I have the cake and can eat it too. Nice.
This init option seems not that complicated to implement if devs are 3D smart. Nvidia should educate game devs on these simple and obvious mechanisms.
Imagine a flight sim game that auto converge based on this parameter. No more hassling caveman style with click fest to change convergence each time switching from inside to outside cockpit.

Yep, just bought it last night after reading here that it is fixed.. Paid full dollar for it on steam but didn't mind, hopefully sending a message that we are willing to pay for good games with good 3d that performs as advertised. It really is a beautiful game in 3d. Thanks to rollermod I am playing on my 82 inch dlp with no ghosting and great visuals. It's just a shame we have to work so hard and require so much patience to get to these "victories"

I bought the game off Steam 2 days ago and am still downloading. Downloaded once. then got 3gb patch. Didnt work, verified files and now downloading 9gb file! I used to really like Steam...

Yeah it took me 2 hours to get it to run. Setting steam to admin, not at the right click option, but in the compatibility tab finally solved it. Good luck.

Thanks for the heads up. Just another 6 odd hours to go (all being well).

for some reason, I've the latest version of the game as well as the latest drivers and STILL 3d is broken. And get this - to top it all off, it worked the first time I tried it, then when I loaded a savegame BOOM shadows aren't stereo.

These settings make me go cross eyed quite often looking at the close up items. Anyone got proper settings for maximum pop out while being pleasant on the eyes

I've been using these settings which seem to work better for the close up items (not sure about the inside convergence - I'm just starting out in the game - does the tent at the beginning of the game count as inside?)

This init option seems not that complicated to implement if devs are 3D smart. Nvidia should educate game devs on these simple and obvious mechanisms.
