I don't know what happens with win10 + steam + 3Dmigoto.... maybe trying to rename the steam overlay dll so can't be load at all. In every steam update the dll is installed again btw. I'm playing in win7, steam version without issues....BUT if i have MSI afterburner enabled i have the same issue described by helifax...game don't start and CPU usage is always stuck at 12-13%. Closing MSI afterburner fix that (this happens to me also in Battleborn, Narco Terror and Marlow Briggs).

Haaaa!! Microsoft want to boycot 3D gaming in Win10...they try hard to make 3Dmigoto not working in win10. You can reproduce the issue in win7 100% of the times, opening MSI Afterburner and start the game. Maybe others overlay produce the same issue. I will try to tweak the ini to make the game start with MSI Afterburner opened, maybe this also solve the issue in win10. Hope you found the root of the issue...is a shame people with win10 can't play properly some games in 3D.

helifax said: VERY INTERESTING turn of events!
I managed to make it HALT on Windows 7 as well !!!!

I did a couple of things beside upgrading to the latest drivers 372.70 from 368.22 which I had previously!
Now I need to dig one by one and see what is causing it:
- Profile that I imported
- Updated driver, etc...

EDIT1:
Nvidia Driver 368.22 works perfect under Windows 7.
Nvidia Driver 372.70 DOES NOT work under Windows 7.
Nvidia Driver 372.70 DOES NOT work under Windows 10.

Will test an older version of the driver under Windows 10 and see, but I think this is the culprit. The damn drivers :((
DHR, what Nvidia drivers are you running?

So, Edit2:
Nvidia Driver 368.39 works perfect under Windows 10.
Nvidia Driver 372.54 DOES NOT work under Windows 10.
I haven't tested 372.54 under Windows 7 but if DHR says it works, it should work;)

One thing to note though:
- 372.54 is the first driver with a Nvidia "change"/hack to make it work under Windows 10 Anniversary SHIT. I bet this is WHERE THE PROBLEM COMES FROM!!!
- All previous Nvidia Driver versions ARE NOT AVAILABLE for Windows 19 Anniversary SHIT, but ARE AVAILABLE for Windows 10 build 10586 (previous build).
- AVOID WINDOWS 10 ANNIVERSARY CRAP like the PLAGUE!!! ^_^

All in all, I am glad that I don't need to reinstall a WHOLE OS to play the game again;)

And AWESOME JOB DHR!!! Post it on HelixMod Blog!

PS: This was tested under 3D Surround + SLI. Spec in signature;)
Not time for some Deus EX again ^_^

EDIT3:
Just for the sake of it here is a LOG from 3DMigoto WHEN the game HALTS:

Maybe bo3b or DSS can look into it and see "what changed". I have a bad feeling, that we will encounter this in the future more:(((

Thanks helifax for testing and founding the cause... Damn drivers!!! and Damn win10 and anniversary bullsh**t. I also have a bad feeling, but about win10 :( Hope bo3b or DSS can take a deep look...maybe we need a new tweak in the d3dx.ini:
not_allow_microsoft_or_nvidia_fuck_3D_gaming = 1
i thought Mankind Divided works out of the box in S3D....or not? I wanted to play this game first...i read in a few places that was important to the story to play Human Revolution first. And i have a lot of games in my backlog untouched, like DEHR....so now i'm revisiting some of them (mainly DX11 ones) + recent games don't work very good on release...update after update to work properly...so is a perfect combination :) TBH my expectation about DEHR was not that high...BUT the game is really great, the story and the soundtrack catch me, despite the graphics are not *new gen*. But in S3D this game looks great! All works OK in 3D surround?
