Support for dual monitors + mirror
I have two identical 60Hz monitors, and a GeForce 9800GTX driving them. I've been using 3D Vision Discover for a while, but I just found here http://www.crystalcanyons.net/abouts/3dc9_...orComplete.shtm describing how to obtain stereo 3D using two monitors, and a mirror between them. I've already used Stereoscopic Player to verify that this method of 3D looks absolutely spectacular. Is it possible to enable this 3D mode on my card, for gaming?

So far only with winxp (at most) and a 7900 card (at most) and using the 91.31+91.31 stereodrivers. This kind of rig is certainly outdated though. Another option is trying out the iz3d drivers. Maybe tridef drivers are also up to the task but i can't tell for sure.

I'm sure it can't possibly be that hard to implement. Any chance we can get support for future drivers? Why did they even drop support in the first place?

Well, iz3d drivers sucked like nothing else. Even at the menu, Portal was having looping sound, and jerky mouse.
It crashed my machine on Team Fortress.

On a few other games, they didn't even display in 3D.
Any other suggestions?

That's strange. Both portal as well as tf2 works excellent for me. For the jumping cursor: Disable mouse lock.
I'm using winxp since compability still is better than nothing else. With steam games: Be sure to disable the steamcommunity since it sometimes seems to interfere with the injection of the driver.
I don't know if the tridef ignition drivers supports dual outputs with one mirrored display. If not, then one monitor might be changeable in the displaydriver.
