Green pixel/snow in Vive caused by non-updated nvidia driver???
I'm getting some green pixel static in my vive headset... I checked all the connections turns out when I move the HDMI connection at the headset (i.e. push it/ angle it differently near the actual connection), the snow goes away. This of course tells me its a short in the connection and need to replace the cable. VIVE support on the other hand is trying to tell me that it could be because I'm using the old 3D Vision compatible driver 425.31. Am I correct in assuming that this is utter and complete bullsh*t or is there something I'm missing here?

I think a green pixel is a hardware fault, no way it is the driver. 1st level support everywhere are usually incompetent with 0 understanding of technology.
