Depth reseting when getting in a vehicle in BC2
(I tried searching but it's (still?) broken...)

I have my Depth turned to 100% for everything. In BC2 when entering many vehicles (primarily tanks), the depth gets reset to the default 15%. Is there a way to force it at 100% all the time?

I can see how this effect might actually make sense in some scenarios, but in any case it's like cranking the depth from one extreme to the other - your eyes still have to adjust - but it's doing it instantly. It strains my eyes bigtime, really about the only thing that does. /turned.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':turned:' />

I have noticed this since the beginning of the game, and for this thing alone I dont play it in 3D. I dont get why this bug isnt fixed.

I don't think it's a bug..it looks fine here...
Maybe you need a different convergence setting.

it is a bug
and it's been there since version 1.0 of the game
depth resets to the lowest value once you get into a vehicle
you have to rotate the wheel to get it back up to whatever it was before

That's correct, the issue is it shouldn't be changing at all when you get in the vehicle.

That's just an opinion...
I think it's normal, that when you enter a tank your vision is different.
A tank is a very small enviroment ,it should look that way imo.

I don't think Dice will change it....

It's not an opinion it's a fact. There are times when it makes sense (such as the UAV screen, simulating looking at a 2D screen), and others where it is incorrect (such as looking out the window of the side ports of a 4-man APC). However in ANY scenario, correctly applied or not, I find it very straining on the eyes to jump from 100% to 15%.

I just gave it a go in 3d and i found that the depth didn't reset back to 100% when I got out of the tank. I'd say this was a bug not a feature.
