Mass Effect: Andromeda - 100% (plus 10%) - 3D VISION Ready Fix

Great work Halifax.
I would probable add VAT tax.
Which is 25% tax on Everything.
The VAT on food is just 8% and the VAT on books are zero.
How much do you want in donation for this game fix?
You could probably ask for any reasonable sum from me personally.
Happy to be back into playing 3D games.
Picked up my two Tournament Edition Madcatz fighting sticks and played side by side in both TEKKEN7 and Ultra Street Fighter IV.
My computer is getting old it's just a 4GHz (4,4 turbo) 16GB RAM. I'm about to upgrade to 32GB RAM.
I have 250GB SSD and 11TB storage. Ut has a single fan MSI Geforce GTX 980 4GB.
CPU cooler is a corsair H80 water cooler.
Everything is running stock speed with no overclocking.
Only thing broken so far is replacing the PSU as the original PSU died in a massive storm.
Looking towards upgrading to a single 1080 Ti but I'm not sure.
It seems that Nvidia might be releasing their next gen GPUs very soon.
Getting a Geforce Titat V would be something,
I'm using a modified CoolerMaster HAF I believe.
The hole side panel has a Taurus brandiong and obviously no side fan near the GPU.
It's pretty quiet. It has the 200mm front intake. The PSU fan. The single GPU fan. And two fans push pull 120mm on the water cooler.
I have a 3 screen setup with my VG278H center and only 3D monitor. The other two are DELL U2410 and it's working great in 2D souround gaming or single screen 3D Vision.
Never owned a TV so far. Just like UK BBC we have TV license system here in Sweden.
Looking towards buying my first TV currently thinking of something like a LG OLED 55" 4K HDR with Dolby Vision. Obvoiously without any 3D as no TV maker is making 3D screens anymore.
I have a great Samsung 5.1 sound system which cost 5500SEK new.
Have a 4K Ultra HD blu-ray player but only 3 bundled movies.
The Revenant
Deadpool
X-Men Days of Future Past (Native 3D so pretty great and have it on 3D Blu-ray as well)
I'm a bit pissed at Microsoft as Xbox One X seems pretty damn powerful rendering at native 4K resolution.
If they actually manage to reach 4K 60hz in Forza Horizon it would be insane. My compuuter would have no way to push 4K 60hz in such a open world game. If they are talking 30hz then it mmakes sense. The 4K Forza Horizon 3 patch will be ready in pretty soon.
Been playing quite a bit of Forza Horizon 3 and Forza Motorsport 7 lately it's pretty fun.
They work great in 1080p but you have to disable 3D Visiono or they crash on startup.
Well 3D Vision never happened for DirectX 12 which was somethhing I was expecting to create a hook dll wrapper for. The number of DirectX games is not that large yet and I don't think we can do anything about the situation. Would need to code a very special wrapper to render DirecX 12 into 3D.
Halifax open gl wrappers propable tells it it is actoually possible but obviously very hard.

Many thanks!
I don't ask for any donation for 3D Vision game fixes in general. (I release them publicly because I want others to share the same experience - even if putting something out here takes a waaaay longer time for me to test it and so on.)
I do appreciate the donations (and they 90% go into buying new games either for fixing or playing), because it tells me other people appreciate my work and our work and enjoy what we do in other spare time (fixing games for 3D Vision) - sometimes, like in this case, working on a fix for almost one year! And it also tells me people still believe in 3D Vision;)
Your addition of the disassembler/assembler to 3DMigoto is priceless! Many fixes (including this one) rely on it! I couldn't ask for anything from you or anyone that is part of this community! After all, is the whole community that makes 3D Vision awesome! ;)

Do you think DirectX 12 is doable at all? Considering your experience handing rendered frames straight to 3D Vision. Something crucial for your Open GL wrappper.
That would obviously be a massive undertaking but would bring 3D Vision greatness to DirectX 12.
More importantly what do you use to stream 3D Movies from your homepage.
Just adding the fact that a Pinball Arcade DX11 fix would be very valuable to me.
I know it is rude to ask for specific games but in this case I have been waiting years.
It feels so good to be back and in good health. although typing this at 04:38 probably means it is time for a break.

Welcome back
3D Vision doesn't even work with direct X 12 the early version of Gears of War and Rise of Tombraider are examples of this. Now Direct X 12 just crashes when you enable 3D Vision.

Having those games from the Microsoft Store, that may be the reason 3D doesn't work. It also might be just a profile issue. For instance in Destiny 2 I had to disable a specific flag I haven't seen before in a profile to fix the startup crash when 3D was enabled in NVCP. What's weird is that this crash comes and goes with different drivers and I suspect the problem lies elsewhere when that flag is enabled.

Is what the game actually does is you rout-out the 8-bit SSR shader ^_^ You will have to try it and you will see it;)

So here goes and extra 4 hours investigating a crash/hang that I though I was responsible for.
Turns out is the freaking game! Even in 2D, on AYA I can get it to freeze/crash if Post-Processing is set above LOW (and I stress the GPU hard enough - Ultra preset across the board).
Grrrr.... I feel a bit silly now, but at least I updated the FAQ on the main page with this info!
Shouldn't be long now, for a release!

With great joy I am proud to present the Mass Effect Andromeda - 3D Vision v.1.21 Fix (Check main page and follow the instructions there ^_^ I didn't spend a loooot of time to test and find all those, just so I can type a long post ;)) ):
Updates in this version (compared to previous):
- Full integration with Tile Lights fix from DarkStarSword.
- Tempest Window missing in one eye bug fix (DarkStarSword) and improved by me.
- Fixed some bugs in some ASM shaders related to EOL and UTF-8.
- Light shafts (God Rays) fixed.
- Fixes for Skyboxes and elements that render on the skyboxes (at different depths).
- More particle effects & decals fixes.
- Different types of Fog fixes.
- Updated the UI & Keybinds to provide better immersion (Both Keyboard and XBOX One controller).
- Removed some old un-needed stuff.
Known issues: There are 3 effects that I know about about, but can't be fixed:
- Lens Flares aren't always SPOT ON - but they are 98.5% perfect:) (It's how the game puts them - game bug).
- On Habitat 7 (First planet) there are some mono lighting-strikes (in a very special place that you need to dig to find it ^_^)
- When in Tempest, some planets are perfectly rendered in 3D but at a very close depth (game-bug).
If you encounter any 2D Elements or broken shaders (and you will ^_^) read the FAQ on the FIRST PAGE on why that happens and how to fix it!
Hope you enjoy this awesome fix and game!
(And here we have another showcase for 3D Vision - World First Fully Frostbite3 fixed 3D Vision game - In a big quantity by DarkStarSword! ^_^).
Cheers,
Helifax

Having those games from the Microsoft Store, that may be the reason 3D doesn't work. It also might be just a profile issue. For instance in Destiny 2 I had to disable a specific flag I haven't seen before in a profile to fix the startup crash when 3D was enabled in NVCP. What's weird is that this crash comes and goes with different drivers and I suspect the problem lies elsewhere when that flag is enabled.
What??? :D
Is what the game actually does is you rout-out the 8-bit SSR shader ^_^ You will have to try it and you will see it;)

Cheers,
Helifax
