Mount & Blade Warband and Fire and Swords tearing using Nvidia 3D Vision
These games (it is really the same engine) works fine in 2D, but when I press ctrl+T to enable 3D is impossible to play because a lot of tearing. It is not because need more powerfull hardware, I have enough with Intel i7 @ 4Gh + Nvidia 460 OC. Framerate indicates a stable 100fps (when playing in 2D) and 50fps (when in 3D), but as I say in 3D there is a lot of tearing. This problem did not happend with past drivers (I´m using the last whql driver). All other games work fine in my computer. I have reduced resolution and detais but the tearing do not dissapear.

Ok, solved. Just Configure\Video\Max.Frame Rate=50 and now all is smooth.

Is this any good in 3D?
Is this any good in 3D?

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Andy,

Warband is very good in 3d. I did post somewhere on here ages ago that the developers updated the game and tweaked 3d vision support themselves. There was a funny issue with the inventory in 3d though.

This GREAT game is still totally alive, and I don't understand why it is not patched to add graphics features and better textures for people with better hardware. Of course Nvidia 3d Vision is an important increase in visuals and inmersion, and it is supported very well (despite minor problems). I also used to aply in the past enbseries patch to improve graphics, but enb is history since the last warband patch (it isn't supported anymore). It is possible to aply any of the skyrim injectors to modify colors, but the result is not as spectacular as enb was, and also enb let us to modify colors/brightness/etc in the fly only pressing shorcuts keys, so it offered us the possibility to minimize ghosting. I don't know about any other patch to aply shaders or something to improve graphic appareance into Warband.

I have no idea about the developing of any expansion for Warband(Fire&Storm for me is only a mod, and I prefer Warband). I can't imagine this game discontinued.
