Wow, that's fantastic. We should contact the devs and ask if they can fix the crosshair, it seems silly not to when everything else is working perfectly.

I was really taken back, I put my 3D glasses on and flicked the power switch on the side thinking, "here we go again"... and BAM, I was very impressed!! I will quickly take some more for you now :) brb

I can see stuff wrong in screenshots and I know source engine well enough to know I am right.
skybox/"skybox/background" buildings are at wrong depth.
Player tags[lack depth] + crosshair will make it extremely hard to play above 10% depth.
Online/competitive games aren't really my thing but I like its mechanics. Its looks like a big step up from the military shooters that havent changed in 10 years = /

Ok, here are more pics, now a new map loaded I can see the distant buildings are not 3D. On the first map everything looked better.
Given what you know about source, what are the odds of it being fixable?
Its a different story since its online only. Very low even ignoring it's *probably* DX11 which is down the road. Id talk to developers.
TBH, I don't think any modders are interested in online games. Not to mention if its not possible to go into a game by oneself it is impossible. Can't stand around in a game hours on end finding the issues while being shot.

Could you jump into an empty server to look at it? As far as I know, Source hasn't introduced DX10/11 support yet, but I'll check what version it is once I try it out. I haven't decided whether or not I'm interested yet (still downloading), but it looks like it has promise.

Just tried to play, thoughts:
Can't get the Helix debugger to load, just dropping it in the same folder as the exe. Tried 32 and 64, so...DX11 confirmed?
I tried MSI Afterburner after hearing it can identify DX version, but it wouldn't load. Though I don't think it works on 64 bit titles, which I believe this is (not sure though).
As it stands...it's fairly playable. It's not good, the UI is easily the biggest issue, as is the lack of autoconvergence necessary for sight-aiming. It's playable with the nvidia laser sight though. I expected higher performance, but it's a beta so that's forgivable.
The buildings in the distance aren't a huge issue as you're not often looking at them, but that may be different in other maps.

Looks like it requires 64 bit, so Helix dll won't load either. Helix DX9 is 32 bit only.
Since it's a Valve engine game it seems likely to be DX9 though.

There seems to be a 64 bit Helix DLL?
It's definitely a 64 bit game according to the specs (with no 32 bit version), so if that's a requirement for fixes then we're probably out of luck.
