Nice Job as always Helifax ;).
Any hope to transpose those technics to all games that use the Frostbite engine?
Like Mirror Edge Catalyst, FIFA 18, Battlefront 1 & 2?
Anthem lol :D?
I hope this last one will have a great solo, and a co-op campaign like the next Far Cry 5 (really hope for a LAN option).
Shaderhackers make us "wasting" a lot by buying expansive games to enjoy them fully in glorious 3D.
(Joke inside if people don't understand lol :D)
Thank you all for doing this and keeping improving the stereoscopic games ;).
Great news Helifax You did it :)
Was trying to play this game with partial fix, but then I got lost in another game and this one was waiting for play, but now it will be in glorious 3d thanks to You.

Helifax...That's very good news!!
I may revisit Mirror Edge Catalyst to activate the CS Lights in this game :)
Also i have in my "to do" list create a set of ShaderRegex for this Frostbite3, will work very well because the patterns for shadows, lights and reflections are the same.

It's not fully fixed. There still are problems with lights.
The picture just shows that currently the tile lighting for the character & cinematics sections are fixed :)
I am still searching for the other lights compute shaders, but this is not easy:( as I can't seem to find it:(
In any case, even know, the game looks waaay better than any of the previous fixes:)
As for this method working for other games? I have no idea honestly:( It could in theory!
I should write a book now on how to fix Frostbite 3 games :)) As well as other discoveries I made on the side.
The Tile fixes for the Compute Shaders that I found is a massive hack:) Don't know why it works, but it works:)
I'll see how this gets along and if I can fix it all the way:)
As for Battlefront 2, I will definitely skip that game for now, unless I can quickly fix it once I discover how to fully fix ME:A :)

I know you are really just kidding, and frostbytes probably the wrong choice but I would greatly appreciate something like this. (focused on 3dmigoto)
I think theres just a couple of things I'm missing for the penny to drop and I start progressing to some real fixes. I can do all the basics.
Bo3bs school is great but the original school stops at the tricky parts is dx9 focused and with the thread over the years I find pretty frustrating to zero in on the information I need. I feel some sort of example case for shader hacking with a widely used engine would be a huge help to people like me looking to progress.
But anyway I digress.
Congratulations, on your breakthrough and thanks for all your work on this and everything else

Yeah, goal was to do more advanced stuff using 3Dmigoto, but making those videos and lessons is just too time consuming.
Best bet for follow on learning is the massive amount of Q&A we have. Here are a couple of links.
Some great background and details, but older:

And DJ-RK made a really impressive list of bookmarks. This is really what you are looking for:

Amazing news! Thank you for taking yet another stab at this.
I just started to play through it in CM, but I will certainly put that on pause now =)
Wishing you best of luck in attempting to hunt down what remains.
Thank you for coming back to this Helifax.
In your OP, you posted links to a toxic person, whose posts seemed to bother you re: your language skills. You will find the internet filled with these people - I think the trick is to ignore the hate, and remember that this is your second language, and you know even more programming languages than these 'complainers' :)
You'll find that everyone in the community will rally around to defend you against such attacks though - best not to let one random get you down. We can all see when they are being an ass.
I went through the ups and downs of this thread earlier this week as I am starting out on ME:Andromeda for the first time. I tried both your fixes but my results with patch 1.10 were not acceptable. I had relegated myself to using CM mode which wasn't too bad in itself, but my personal gripe was that it suffers from a crippling max separation lock (Apparently, I like divergent vision, as calculated by DarkStarSword!).
I'm thankful to you for looking into this again, and hope perhaps one day soon to play this game in all its glory!
BTW, there are 2 mods which might make your testing/another playthrough more fun for you:
Mobility Mod - Vastly increases sprint speed and jump height.
Nomad top speed / boost increase.
A lot of people are saying that the game is a very different and much more fun experience with these installed.

Also, bo3b, good to see you here again mate. Where have you been hiding? I thought we might have lost you! :(
