Very intriguing! My one hope is that somehow this will allow for CM mode to work in The Division once again. Some update a while back (not sure if it was a game update or NVidia Driver update) caused CM mode to stop working for this game all together. With The Division 2 on the horizon it would be nice to be able to fire up TD1 once again and check out all the content I missed (but paid for with the season pass) beforehand. I'm sure this will probably add a lot of interest elsewhere too. Might actually start up that copy of AC: Origins I got and eventually get Odyssey as well... and, of course REmake 2, based on those photos. Heck, any game plagued by the CPU bottleneck issue will probably make this a nice alternative as well, so maybe my hopes of playing FFXV in 1440P @ 60FPS might not be as far off as I thought! Appreciate you showing off the goods and thanks in advance for your hard work into this.

Now we're talking! Helifax is back with one his unique and own special reverse engineering feature! Just made a quick test in RE2 before going to bed: very impressive first look, much better depth and totally awesome presets option for convergence, longtime request here. I finally could go back to MAFIA 3 where I desesperatly needed 2 differents convergence presets for walking and for driving, I had to hit x20 times convergence between the 2... I will do more test at lunch break to see up where I could go with depth on my 4k TV. Very good shot Helifax, congrats man :)

Awesome, Ty for your continued stereoscopic work. I wonder at times if Nvidia had planned Auto Stereo for VR based around CM and decided against it after getting so much negativity concerning CM. This also makes me think they were working on dx9 CM. These assumptions are based on the fact that so few games work with 3D Vision out of the box. (just a random assumption) Auto Stereo, for those that forgot https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/923186/vr-general-discussion/what-happened-to-auto-stereo/ Anyhow, back to CM.... I've always wondered if the "character halo" in CM is caused by the character silhouette thingy that is seen in a lot of games prior to being fixed. Example Any idea what causes it? Any solution? To me, the character halo is the biggest drawback of CM. Perhaps it will be less of an issue with these new depth/convergence settings, because at least the rest of the game will look so much better. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ I'd also like to thank Nvidia once again for providing us with Compatibility Mode". It has been a great alternative to playing some games in 2D! I'm also hoping and praying that Nvidia will give us a CM solution for dx12, Vulkan and OpenGL.
I have hooked the exe as it should, and the only thing I changed in your file was current screen size to 27" /
Here the only thing I changed is original screen size to 49" (my TV size) and let 17" as current screen size, perhaps I inverted the instruction but it works when I click F12 ;)
Hmmm.. I havent tried CT before, but I thought I could manage it anyway - but... My recommandation is to download the CT table again and re-edit it, making sure you change just the monitor size :)

I have hooked the exe as it should, and the only thing I changed in your file was current screen size to 27" /
Here the only thing I changed is original screen size to 49" (my TV size) and let 17" as current screen size, perhaps I inverted the instruction but it works when I click F12 ;)
Yes, that is the other way around :) The "original" values are the ones, where I found the convergence levels and the separation value. The "Current" values are the ones for your current screen. If you revert them, you will still get something different, but I am not sure if it the correct result as the calculations are flipped :) I haven't tried it the other way around;) Also, I am still not sure, if the script is not too pedantic ;)) I could optimise it a lot more and remove some of the calculations from there, but I kept it like this for readability reasons ;)
