It's like you're trying to use a 360 controller on a PS3 and everyone's telling you it won't work but you can't seem to see why.
Nice analogy :)
Acer did release a monitor that was very short lived for AMD's HD3D, it was the HS244HQ.
I wonder how close they are in specs, maybe an EDID hack to make the GD235HZbid look like a HS244HQ. I have no experience with them though so I can't really help.

No you could not use the EDID from HS244HQ to enable AMD HD3D
1. because the Acer he has does not have an HDMI connection
2. because there is no way to activate the Nvidia glasses, they need the Nvidia USB driver

Lol. Can't very well do an EDID without an HDMI port. I didn't even bother to look at the connections. Hell, I'm getting confused just being in the same thread as ... :D

do you need pics or something? im just simply asking about the monitor alone. the program itself will not recognize 3d even on the montior. therefore its the monitor or os.

Like I said even if you could do an EDID hack on it, I don't know how to.

You're really asking these questions in the wrong place, I understand it's an ACER/NVIDIA monitor but you CAN'T use 3D Vision with your AMD GPUs and from the looks of it you don't want to.
Judging from how things are going here, I'd say your best bet is to either ...
Give up on 3D altogether.
Get a new monitor and go the AMD/TriDef route.
or
Buy an NVIDIA GPU so you can use your NVIDIA 3D Vision Certified Monitor.
you clearly dont understand
You're absolutely right, I clearly don't understand how you could buy a monitor with NVIDIA logos all over it and expect it to work with your AMD GPUs.

Its like putting diesel in a petrol car, or stuffing a PS2 mouse into a USB connector. How hard is it to understand that the two don't go together? Guess why your Nvidia glasses don't work with your AMD setup.
