My emitter won't turn on. when i plug it in it's just blinking red. i
press the button and nothing happens. i've uninstalled and reinstalled
the drivers from the cd, then uninstalled and downloaded the latest full
driver cd and install graphics, 3d vision etc all in order. this all
after reboots. when i plug in the emitter it's just blinking red.
there are no devices listed in device manager, i don't hear a sound when
it's plugged in. i've also tried changing usb ports, every single one,
none of them work. i've tried on a different computer, same result. no
device detected. Nothing happens when I press the On button, it just stays fading in and out of Red,
and there is no green light on the back.

1. Make sure emitter is unplugged
2. Make sure glasses are charged
3. Uninstall everything, all drivers, etc
4. Reboot computer
5. Reinstall all drivers (make sure emitter is unplugged this whole time)
6. Then when it asks you to connect it do so.
That happened to me once. Try to reinstall everything, or at least the usb drivers for 3d vision. If it doesn't work go for older versions of the CD drivers until one makes it work, then upgrade your drivers from that version.

I've full reinstalled on a different hard drive and just plugged it in. It doesn't detect. Nothing happens. I've tried several other computers and it doesn't detect, nothing in device manager.
HOWEVER! If I go upstairs and plug it into my room mates HP DV7 Laptop, it will detect and say new device found!
And it's consistent, I tried a couple times, different days. etc.
I've uninstalled fully, rebooted. installed old drivers, it can never get passed the screen were you press next and it's asking to plug in the emitter, it can never find it. Nothing in device manager.

Have you tried plugging it into a different usb port and or try plugging in some other device to make sure your usb port is working, then if it is, just plug the emitter in anyway and install the drivers from the cd that came with the emitter....First install the graphic drivers, then install the 3d vision drivers which may ask you to confirm the usb drivers while it's running. Then once you've gone through the driver setup, go into the nvidia control panel and play a tick in the check box of the 3d steroscopic panel...If that doesn't work, there maybe a problem with the emitter. Lastly make sure your usb device is turned on in bios and not disabled.

It's got to be the USB drivers, then. You said you installed 'the drivers' from the CD but I'm guessing all you installed was the graphics drivers. Look in the CD again and you should find a folder called Stereo. Open that and run the NvIRUSB.exe.

press the button and nothing happens. i've uninstalled and reinstalled
the drivers from the cd, then uninstalled and downloaded the latest full
driver cd and install graphics, 3d vision etc all in order. this all
after reboots. when i plug in the emitter it's just blinking red.
there are no devices listed in device manager, i don't hear a sound when
it's plugged in. i've also tried changing usb ports, every single one,
none of them work. i've tried on a different computer, same result. no
device detected. Nothing happens when I press the On button, it just stays fading in and out of Red,
and there is no green light on the back.

If the emitter is glowing red that usually means the usb drivers are not installed.
