Arcsoft Totalmedia... Can't start 3D Vision
Okay, I'm sure this is a silly question, but I've looked through the Arsoft & Nivida forums & can't find a solution.

3D Vision starts fine in games and the nVidia test program. But when I fire up ArcSoft Total Media Theater I can't start 3D Vision. Neither the USB transmitter button nor the glasses' button turn it on.

System/settings:
Asus VG236H, 120HZ, 1920x1080
Nvidia GTX 460, driver v. 301.42
Stereoscopic 3D enabled in settings, "Select when display is in 3D mode" is ALWAYS
Glasses battery is charged, USB module is plugged in
TMT is set to "Always play Blu-ray 3D movies in 3D mode". I've tried AUTO and LEFT/RIGHT which is the source I'm playing.
TMT viewing environment is set to NVIDIA 3D VISON READY DISPLAY
TMT version is 5.0.1.80

When I end the TMT program, the USB module and glasses light up, but when TMT starts, they stop. 3D works great in games... is there a trick for starting it in media playback?

Never mind, found the solution. Had to open the actual M2TS file.

When I tried opening just the m2ts file it does fake 3D which is kind of hit and miss for quality. To get the actual 3D from a 3D BluRay you have to play the movie from its index as far as I can tell. Though if that's not an actual 3D BluRay then the way you're doing it is correct.
