Out of sync problem with darksiders seems to be drive related...
Bought Darksiders on Steam last night and for some reason while playing it goes out of sync - creating a horrible colour cycle on my H5360. After about 10 mins of playing it resolved and was fine for about 10 minutes, then it started again.

At first it slowly slipped out of sync then back in, so i went back to an old driver and then it begain its sync, out of cync cycle very quickly (so it was basically flashing purple, gree, red... etc because it was out of sync with the projectors colour wheel)

I then updated to the newest drivers and loaded up and it was fine, except for the fact the nvidia convrgence keybind settings had reset. I went in and changed them and when i loaded the game it was back on the fast out of sync cycle...

I went in and re-setup my the 3D setup and loaded the game and it was on the slow cycle again.

I have never had this happen before and I have many games which I play. I have been in and tested them (both on games using or not using steam)

It seems to only affect this particular game - and messing with the drivers seems to affect it.

I have charged my sets of glasses fully (3 pairs and it affects them all)

I have tried moving my emmitter about.

it seems that there is some issue with the nvidia drivers keeping in sync with this game, and seems to slip out of sync my a few miliseconds every frame. because the effect changes depending on driver - and indeed was not present at all after my initial update to the latest drivers - this seems to definately be a driver issue.

Worst thing is, this game seems right up my street and im gutted I cant play it!

Cheers

Has anyone ever had their 3d go out of sync like this on any other games?

It's like NVIDIA is emitting the signal slightly after the actual frame has been rendered.

In case no one has experienced it, if this happens on a dlp projector what happens is you get the glasses closing over some of the projectors layers, so the screen seems tobfade in to a weird purple or green tint (it is effectively skipping one or more of the projectors colour wheel cycles)

As I said, this ONLY happens for this one game, but maybe people have habit happen to them on a different game?

Anyone know of a work around?

Shame its a steam game too as that limits solutions somewhat...

Thanks.

For more info, the sync issue seems to occur only at set parts of the game. The very begining and when you first meet the shop demon guy.

Seems to settle down after these scenes. Probably likely this will pop up on other sections of the game...
