Screen Tearing (and disorientation) in 3d vision regardless of Vsync settings. (SLI)

It's a problem that should be submitted because you know which games it is happening on. I'll submit mine for GTA V.
GTA V is a supported 3d vision game. The more games that you see the problem, the better it is for Nvidia to fix the problem.
Plus you should be able to record the problem visually too if you use Geforce Experience to record the video. I would go one step further and link it to youtube as a side by side video.
Also, it's specific to Active 3D only, which means it affects almost all 3d vision monitor users.

I've removed Geforce experience due to bugs it creates with the profile manager /sigh
But yeah I'll test this in a few more games and try and do something.

I would happily support any collective action to report this to nvidia. I did post something in the driver feedback thread but it's misleading as I did not mention 3D Vision (i didn't know it would apply to 3D Vision only). I will amend my post and add a link to this thread...but I think you're probably right...we need to do more to get nvidia attention on this.

Necropants, does this happen in a single screen or in Surround as well?
I don't see it but, you know in Surround my FPS is in the 30-40s so, maybe that's why I don't spot it?
I have both GFE + all drivers installed (for the free FPS counter ^_^)

I haven't noticed it surround, these games I mentioned I don't play in surround. But yeah it doesn't appear to occur in the lower frame rates you typically see in surround. I could be wrong but it seems at this point to only occur around 60fps / Single screen.
I will look into taking a comparison 3dvision video of the issue in Sf5 sometime soon as this appears to be the best example so far.

This does happen on a single screen. it doesn't happen in surround I suspect cause of the lower frame-rate.
As I covered in the first few posts I have tried every conceivable combination while testing this, and others have experienced the same. If you see the street fighter thread I document experiencing this and the steps I went through to come to this conclusion.
It's an issue with SLI in 3dvision, maybe it's monitor related I don't know. I am looking at putting together some example and comparison videos which should illustrate it much better.

Yes! That would be awesome! If you can make a video showing the problem and more importantly, how to reproduce it, We/You can forward it to Nvidia to get a closer look and see if is a driver bug/issue or a game problem.
From past experience, videos work best! Even if you make a very good write-up, remember, a Picture is 1000 words so, a video even more:))
I did a few tests last night but I was using Rise of the Tomb Raider and I didn't see any SYNC issues (VSYNC ON/OFF). In 3D Vision VSYNC should always be on anyway;) otherwise the glasses and the monitor wouldn't sync up. Unless they busted this somehow;))

Hmm, well, no screen tearing for me in 3DTV Play in 720p @60 or 1080p @24. Tried it with the 3DMigoto fix that is out there and without. Also, there is no screen tearing for me with vsync on, off or half, the game works best with vsync on for me. All testing done with SLI on.
However, it looks like this thing is actually playable in 1080p @24 which is something new.

What frame rate are you getting in GTA5? (remember it only happens inside.)
If I turn the refresh rate in game down to 50hz it goes away.

If I turn everything under advanced graphics back to default, long shadows ect. (which turns everything in that section off) @720p I get a constant 60fps no matter where I am, inside or out, still no tearing. If I have everything in advanced cranked all the way up, in 720p, inside constant 60fps no tearing, outside it bounces from like 45-60fps.

I actually haven't been playing on my projector since that Dragon's Dogma incident, where I learned it was affecting my ability to perform fixes (although that isn't the only reason... guess I've just been lazy to set things back, lol).
I was playing on my projector when I was playing Fallout 4, and that's where I first started getting it. These days I've been on my monitor and getting it in Metro:LL and Xcom 2. For the record, I don't get it happening on GTA5 all that often, it does on occasion but not like these other games where it's happening nearly all the time.
One thing that might be playing a factor is AA and/or downscaling. I found when I turned on MSAA on Xcom 2, it went from bad to OMFG!!! levels.
