Before NVidia drivers officially supports Samsung plasmas, use this workaround:

Hello,

I have a Samsung UE40C7000 (3d led TV), 3D Vision Kit and GeForce GTX 460 from Gigabyte (GV-N460OC2-1GI), just boughted yesterday.

The Samsung TV is not recognized as a 3D ready TV. It's says "Generic..."

What cable did you used? I connected my TV with a DVI to HDMI cable (DVI from the PC and HDMI to the TV). I have mini HDMI on my video card and I can connect my TV with HDMY cable + adaptor from mini HDMI to normal HDMI, but it doesn't work. It doesn't find the display. It has to be HDMI 1.4 cable?

I will try your monitor driver and i'll be back with answers.

Yeah it says generic mine too when using the normal drivers (no EDID overrides).

I used regular good quality 2 years old 5 meter HDMI cable.
From DVI2 port->DVItoHDMI dongle->5m HDMI cable->TV HDMI1 port.
The TV was the only display connected to the gfx card.

Thank you M8DNanite. It's working /rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' /> . But it's not working with the nVidia glasses, it's working with the original Samsung 3D glasses. The 3D Vision KIT it's not usefull anymore. The settings are like your having the nVidia glasses but your using the Samsung glasses. I didn't activate the 3D function from the TV, it's the 3D from nVidia option. The resolution i use it's 1920 x 1080 at 24Hz. If i want better refresh rate, I have lower the resolution. When I activate this resolution the TV recognize a 3D signal input and the 3D logo from Samsung apears in left down corner. It's great.
For any question, I'm here.

Whatever you do, don't use 3DTV Play/Beeradg's .inf with a Samsung TV. as you've found out, you can achieve only 24Hz at full 1920x1080 native resolution. lowering to 720P is not an option because the picture quality is hideous due to scaling.

The fix is to plug your PC into the nvidia emitter, and use Rollermod.inf. This combination will go to 3D Vision setup with it's full quality checkerboard 1920x1080 at 60 Hz. With Beeradg's .inf, you're doomed 720P gaming hell and no one can save you.
