Has there??!?

It's a definite go. Every day I'm biting my tongue with excitement.

Keep a watch out in the next few weeks.

And yes....once things are announced, there will be some exciting participation opportunities and benefits.

I can say nothing more.

Thank you all for your best wishes.

I think you are going to be very happy with the direction I've taken it, and there is a lot of benefit to go around.

It has greatly expanded above and beyond what I original intended, so I'm very excited by it.

I'll keep you posted.

So am I! /haha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':haha:' />

Over the years, I've come up with a lot a wacky ideas, but my wife approved of this one - so it's a good sign! :D

I'll keep you posted, and when everything is up and running, I'm hopeful you will join (it's all going to be free) and share the good word with others.

It's a definite go, and the industry is involved, so I think everyone will be happy.

Chopper

I'm excited to see this up and running, looks to promote stereo3d and get more involvement from game developers so we have more games to enjoy in true 3d!

Chopper,

My good sir, there are those that talk, and there are those that do, and you most certainly count amongst the latter of the two.

Nice site..very nice. Yep, now this is definately more like it.

Look forward to speaking with you on your forum in due course.

You are very kind!

I can't take all the credit as our users will be playing a very important part - we have a big exciting road ahead!

I don't know if you picked up on it, but a new Stereoscopic 3D Programming Guide will be coming out next week at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

My biggest challenge right now is getting users who are not stereoscopic users to join. Even if they don't have a 3D setup, their membership helps our cause by demonstrating interest to the game manufacturers.

I've been given some great opportunities to leverage other resources, and I think the site is going to need a viral presence as well.

We will be making some more big announcements after GDC. Get your personal email lists together of all your close gaming friends - you're going to need'em (and benefit from them)!

For now, spread the good word - and thanks again!

Best wishes,
Chopper :magic:

Hi Chopper,

Thank you. Offer accepted. There, that's much better. :)

Of course, you're absolutely right about everybody's voice counting, because it really can make a difference. It'd be really heartening to see as many as possible sign up on your site, both via this forum, and from elsewhere too. It's good to know that a 3D Programming Guide was initally proposed in the first place, and that it's since been in development. It would also be rather nice to think that it's requirements are taken into serious consideration by games developers who have a degree of foresight.

I shall look out for that imminent pdf!
