Damn, I was looking forward to this one. Well, fingers crossed that it'll work at some point.

Yes, the game has really an awesome art style and simply has to be played in S3D! It uses the UDK Unreal Engine and AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True in its engine.ini. So far (2h gameplay) I could only find issues with some dynamic shadows and godrays/lense flares. If You reduce convergence even the dynamic shadows are OK and You still have enough depth. They are not completely 2D but only at wrong depth. A phenomenon we also had in other UR games (e.g. Remember me) and that could be fixed with the Helixmod lua if I remember correctly. Unfortunately I don't know how to use the Helixmod fixes for UR games. So it would be great if someone could help us... Using profiles for Protoype, Aion, etc. didn't help but caused more issues than the original UDK profile. I've played the game with adjusted convergence settings and switched off godrays/lense flares using the Helixmod debug.dll. Even under these conditions the game offered a great S3D experience.

You can be my guinea pigs since I dont have time to play. Should be fine since its all the same as Magrunner. Install..NaissanceE\Binaries\Win32\ https://s3.amazonaws.com/eqznew/nais/shaderoverride.zip Press F3 to disable lensflares. They are fixed but look less accurate at high convergence settings which I feel these types of games [no hand/arms/ui] look best with.

Yea, went to reupload when I decided to give option to disable lensflares. Fixed.

I think it may be more broken now than before. The image was flickering and it seemed like there was a consistent issue of the shadows bugging out and flickering inward then immediately going back.

Will have to see if it happens to anyone else. It sounds like you have altered profile your profile somehow but could be mistaken. I need to see if it occurs to anyone else.

Yeah that's fine. There shouldn't be anything customized or altered as I haven't done anything with either this game or I believe you mentioned Mag Runner earlier? But yeah it's still smart to get others input first.

@eqzitara: Thank You so much for Your work! For me the shadow and lense flare fix works flawless (Win 7, Driver 320.49, original profile for UDK). The only remaining issue are the light shafts: http://www77.zippyshare.com/v/9109114/file.html Using the debug.dll I found this VS (EB77EF27)
// Parameters: // // float4 SceneColorScaleBias; // float4 SourceTextureScaleBias; // // // Registers: // // Name Reg Size // ---------------------- ----- ---- // SourceTextureScaleBias c6 1 // SceneColorScaleBias c7 1 // vs_3_0 def c0, 1, 0, 0, 0 dcl_position v0 dcl_texcoord o0.xy dcl_texcoord1 o1.xy dcl_position o2 mad o0.xy, v0, c6, c6.wzzw mad o1.xy, v0, c7, c7.wzzw mad o2, v0.xyxx, c0.xxyy, c0.yyyx

Alo, are you running Windows 8.1?
Nope, Windows 7. But apparently it's flawless for the guy above me, so I'll take another look at it later and see if it's something specific to me.

@Alo81: Because of compatibility issues with iZ3D I'm not using the actual driver but an older one (320.49). Maybe that makes a difference. But let's wait for feedback from other users...

I am using newest driver so its not related to date. Sometimes drivers don't install right and screws up profiles. Try a clean install your drivers. The issues you were describing sounds very profile related, its not really something I could have occur with UE3[I've done many, many games]. Like it sounds like instead of using default profile [A] which is normally assigned to UDK you are using profile [B]/[C]. @3d4dd Godrays are something that aren't fixable[as far as I know]. They aren't really numerous and I like them more enabled then disabled.

I see. If someone doesn't like the godrays they can be turned off by setting bAllowLightShafts=False in ...\UDKGame\Config\UDKEngine.ini. Thanks again for the fix! I hope that You will find the time to play the game. I think it is worth to be played. BTW: To me some of the platform passages were quite tricky especially because of the first person view. In addition to this the save points are quite rare. So I used Cheat Engine 6.3 with the speedhack function (= slow motion). This made it quite easy to master every section - I want to play the game because of its atmosphere and not for sportive reasons ;) The slow motion function of the Cheat Engine works with almost every game and could be a great tool to detect shaders that only are active in short cutscenes etc.. But unfortunately the speed for switching the shader with the debug.dll also works in slowmotion :(
