benq xl270t cannot get 3d to work
I am not sure what I am doing wrong I bought the vision 2 glass's and I think my monitor has the ir emitter built in so I have no idea whats going on. The wizard wont sense the emitter in the monitor. Do i need to buy the separate kit? Any help would be appreciated. Going to work now well try to check up at break. Have the latest drivers installed and my vid card is a evga 780 gtx

The Benq name models are confusing, but I'm pretty sure its the TX with the inbuilt emitter, yours doesn't have it.

To cut costs they most likely use the same bezel/shell on both models, as they're both 3D Vision certified. It's a very common thing to do with electronics, they may even be the same exact monitor sans the emitter.

My xl2420t has a little hole where you are describing with 3d stated and a model of glasses showing, however it just emits a green light when 3d is actually on. Edit: iirc, the tx version which does have the inbuilt emitter the glasses are also bundled with it too.
