Installing new 3dVision driver looses all user presets..... Very irritating
So I upgraded to the latest 3d vision and gfx driver and now joy of joys, I have to reset up the 3d in every game when I had it set perfectly, convergence, depth etc.
This is extremely annoying and shows a lack of basic awareness for the user's experience on the part of the driver developers. Is it not possible to do like every game has done for the past 10 years and put the profiles in "My Documents/3dvision profiles/" or something similar?
I can understand loosing profiles when reinstalling a GFX driver because features may become obsolete or profiles upgraded by the developers to further optimize a game. But for 3DVision there are 3 or 4 basic settings that are tied to a game by a user and these should be saved when un-installing or reinstalling the 3d vision driver.

I think your overrating just a bit. But I hear what your saying. I don't set profiles at all. Each game I play takes me seconds to adjust what I need to. /sorcerer.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sorcerer:' />

Yeah, I don't think this is anything to complain about at all..
It's not very difficult, in fact you could even say it's really easy to
adjust the depth and convergence back to where you had it.
Not only that, but wouldn't playing with the same settings
all the time be boring ? Why not mix it up a little.. try
different things out..
On the other hand, how difficult would it be for Nvidia
to implement a folder where all the user settings
are saved by default, which include depth and convergence for any
given 3d app. Not very.. me thinks.
I personally export the registry key @ HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Nvidia Corporation\Global\Stereo3D prior to installing new drivers then import it afterwards. Keeps all my profiles, shortcut keys and i dont have to run the 3d wizard either.
