BIOSHOCK 2- In game option for 3d Vision!
I think it works well in almost everything.

The only problems I have is with the flare around lights and some refections in water. Other than that its ok.
I have found the game is playable for the most part at the lowest depth ... just kinda sucks you can't feel the full potential of 3d vision at low depth.

I have found I can run and it looks fine (NOT PERFECT) with all the settings on except real time reflections as these are drawn at screen depth and it throws me off when a water reflection is above the water not on it lol.

One problem I keep having though, and it improved by rolling back from most recent beta to most recent whql but not totally fixed, is just wierd random artifacts. I did have big grey polygons flashing on the screen, now I just have here and there the lighting off my hand flashing and whatnot out real far ... like all the way across the room ... in stright lines ...

Still got a lot of bugs but it is getting playable.

Game works like crap with the alienware monitor. Seems to be running smoother since the patch. 3D is CRAP though. Lowest settings possible and i'm not happy. NEED PROFILE and FIX /sorcerer.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sorcerer:' />

I am not putting up with the glitches ... I am trying to find ways around them thus why I am trying different drivers and what not ... was just saying it is playable however not good.

I am keeping it all within the first 5 minutes of the game so I don't ruin it.

I think I'm about 50% through the game in 3d thus far. it's alot better expereince than I've hadn in past with the older drivers. (A few years ago). When a profile and a proper fix is released I may play it over.

Well it's been almost 5 days since release of bioshock 2. Let's hope that a fix comes out within a week of it. (ie: 2 more days lol)

I think the next patch by 2K will be a big one and the next driver update will fix this from Nvidia. It's just ancy to play it. I think ill start borderlands first.

...ghosting around lights (halos), no shadows, no dynamic lighting, no AA, post processing turned off, or low framerate.....

If a game has these in 3D....its not 3D compatible in my opinion. By the end of this year you will see these issues disappear. This is the year of 3D's arrival.

Now Im waiting for a cool Sony 3D Cybershot! Where is it Sony!?

To anyone that is butt hurt about the lack of gamepad support, go here...
http://pinnaclegameprofiler.com/
...and snag the pinnacle game profiler. You will need to go to downloads->user profiles and find the Bioshock 2 profile (and there are profiles for almost any game), and then it'll work very well with the 360 controller from then on out. There is a 30 day trial, and then it is $20. Frankly, $20 is cheap to be able to have one click gamepad support in any game I want. The software itself is a cinch to use and works with any gamepad windows can recognize (afaik). I do not get paid to sell this, I just really think it is great, and I know others wanted gamepad support too.

I just used the software to finish up Mass Effect 2 and I am quite pleased with the result. I'm looking forward to playing through BS2 with a gamepad as well. I might just forgo 3d on bioshock sinc e I am getting tired of waiting.
