Nvidia 3D Vision Video Player Crashes
Just got a sudden, unexplained problem with Nvidia 3D vision video player crashing whenever I try to load an .mp4 or .mkv file. I was able to get these files to play these kinds of files successfully just the other day and now suddenly the program will not work properly. I've tried everything from updating my Nvidia Drivers, reinstalling the program, updating K-Lite Codec Pack and tweaked with some of the codec settings. The only files I'm still able to get working on this program are .mov and .avi, but any other video file will cause 3D-Vision Video Player to crash. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Wait! Nevermind, I figured it out! I got it to work in compatibility mode in Windows 8 (for the most part).

I'd assume that you know about updating it. But just in case you do not http://3dvision-blog.com/8619-how-to-always-keep-your-nvidia-3d-vision-video-player-up-to-date/

Some also use K-Lite with it
I stream them with 3D Vision Player using the method detailed in this thread: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/861240/script-to-watch-youtube-and-other-3d-streams-in-3dvision-player-without-dl-them-first/ Basically this: 1) Download and extract OpenYT3D: https://github.com/brookep1/OpenYT3D/archive/v0.1.zip 2) Download rg3's Youtube Downloader (youtube-dl.exe) and place it in the "../OpenYT3d-0.1/ " directory: https://yt-dl.org/latest/youtube-dl.exe 3) Download and install K-Lite Codec Pack: https://www.codecguide.com/ 4) Download and install Nvidia 3D Vision Player: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-video-player-1.7.5-driver.html 5) Restart your computer 6) Copy the Youtube video's url 7) Run "openyt3d.bat" in the OpenYT3d-0.1 directory 8) Paste the Youtube url in the field (mouse right click --> Paste) and press Enter. After a few seconds, 3D Vision player will pop up and the video will play automatically. Remember there is also the free sView player, an excellent alternative if you're in a hurry.
