optoma HD67 release date
ok just got a email today with a expected release date of the optoma hd67 , this is what the hd66 should have been basically same as the Acer h5360

Hi XXXXX

It looks like the HD67 is due 1st or second week in April. The cost is likely to be 599.

Please let me know if you would like to be added to the pre-order list.

Kind regards

Not sure if anyone was interested but thought I would post it.

I would advise to people whom are considering an optoma . The support is not good and is almost impossible to contact them and even if you do very hard to get something done. Even stores like pcworld can not get in touch.

Beyond that they are normally good projectors.

I also got a response regarding the new 3d Ready Optoma GT720 and GT360 projectors that were announced at CES:

Hi xxx,

The GT720 has just started shipping from our warehouse and should be available from our retailers any day now.

Regards,

Doug

This e-mail was received on 3-15-10 but so far, I haven't seen any mention of the new projectors on any websites or announcements.

Yea not much info on there web.

Iam real happy with my h5360 and will be even happier if cyberlink and 3d vision allows me to play 3d blu-ray without problems on it :) and to be honest not every film will suit 3d but a few likes of avatar and few cartoon type films and a few good blockbuster films :)

to me I dont think I could handle 3d constantly but it is a nice treat every so often :) ohh and playing some games :)

Thanks for the update !

I was wondering if there was going to be any support for the HD66 with Nvidia 3d compatibility ?

arg I wish I had waited before buying one.. of course, back when I bought it.. the current drivers actually supported the genreric CRT option.... doh !!!
