  3 / 3
From my personal exerience with the lastest 3D vision drivers and the new 257 drivers for my gtx470 wow is playing perfect in 3D, although i just adjust the depth with the nvidia settings and not in-game settings, when i did this it totally broke my game until i reset the game 3D settings back to default.

First, I can't compliment this game review enough. It was so well polished and professionally put together, it's something to be proud of. I really want to see more of these. I don't know if anyone here has experience editing 3D videos, but it takes hours and hours to produce just a few minutes of content. Absolutely amazing stuff here.

You raise a valid point about in-game interface settings, and driver based separation and convergence settings. Recostar, can you see if your results change at all based on this?

If there are differences, make sure to put in the comments section of M3GA so people know. This is a very important find if it's true.

Regards,
Chopper

I went back to see exactly what the differences were from the latest drivers and from the ones I was using to capture my video in. My system is the 3D Vision Bundle with monitor so results may vary . I found that some add-ons like Re-count seemed to work fine but the map and interface was still out of sync but occasionally it would just snap back together. Generally speaking , not much has changed in terms of the initial problems compared to what they are now. I am finding that after viewing your map,Auction house , and NPC dialog screens and then adjusting the convergence ingame afterwords they slightly re-aline but still is very ruff to look at.

the deal is you can't use the current drivers. Any monitor aside from the Sammy will not work with the old drivers.

This means you have all these people with sammy's and old drivers shouting "OMG ITS SO GREAT WTF IS WRONG WITH YOUR SITUP NOOBCAKES"...

On the otherhand, you have people (like me) with the Alienware and Acer monitors FORCED to use the current drivers with which WoW is comepletely unplayable at anything other than 0 depth, 0 convergence. We can't use the old drivers because they were released long ago and they tell us our monitors are not valid 3d devices. So we all sit here waiting, while people who can use old monitors and old drivers tell us that "it werks fine"... sigh.

most interesting that only the original sammy works. How can that be? The lower resolution of the old screen. The differences between newer drivers and older for me amount to slight errors in the newer drivers ie. sky (stars) are messed in the new driver also i notice that the stereoscopic 3d effect breaks more with the newer drivers which require you to "snap" it back in by the ingame options.

"OMG ITS SO GREAT WTF IS WRONG WITH YOUR SITUP NOOBCAKES"... is funny lol.

Perhaps a video of the problems would help, it could be added to a growing video collection of 3d issues. Small video of the problem followed by a fix (if one is to be had) that can be applied. I know that this is not a user fixable issue but aleast to get the ball rolling..................i would but im a situp noobcakes who has a old working monitor...............dam my old crap.

I fear the OP wears rose-coloured glasses instead of stereoscopic 3D glasses?

Could you provide a video to show whats happening ? It's so hard to understand whats actually going on without seeing it.
