Hi all,
after a quick discussion with nvidia they have confirmed Sony Bravia KDL46HX750 will work with 3D Play .. im after some reccomendations.
has anyone used this particular TV ? reviews online seem ... average for 3D with lots of crosstalk when not viewing from directly in front and people seem to reccomend going to the KDL46HX850 .. but it is considerably more money.
Can anyone reccomend a great TV that works with active technology (i havent used active and id love to see it in action!!) in a similar price range ? people here have the experience im looking for i hope :-)
price range up to $1200USD (i live in new zealand) .. im guessing the newer the TV the better the performance in 3D (assuming all other things equal)
Thanks, i really appreciate the help ! i will be buying a TV in 2 weeks time, and want to learn as much as possible in the meantime!

Hey reaper. I did some research on 3D tv's late last year, samsung always seemed to come in top. They also seemed to have far better integration with your home network, nas, etc, which allows for movie streaming from pcs etc.
as for cross talk, generally tv users need less depth as they are already naturally further away from the tv, and depth is what causes most crosstalk. Apparently this difference is why crysis 2 (fake 3D with minimal depth) looked great on tv but crappy on my monitor.
So even if your screen has (average) crosstalk, it may still be pretty useable for your needs. my advice? go into a store stocking one of these bad boys and ask to watch some 3D content with good depth (e.g. avatar and most pixar, animation movies)
