Which Game Should I get for 3d - Just Cause 2, Metro 2033, Or Bad Company 2? Looking for the best 3d
  1 / 2
I don't have a ton of cash, I can only buy 1 game.

I really like RPG's and FPS, I know that Just Cause 2 isn't FPS because its in 3rd person view, but that game looks sick. I'm leaning towards Just Cause 2.....

How are these games in 3d?????

THANKYOU

I've beaten Metro and Battlefield. I am playing Just Cause 2 right now. They are all excellent. For graphics quality you will get the most out of Metro however, in my opinion, the game is not as fun as JC2 or Battlefield.

If you play multiplayer go with Battlefield. If you like GTA and single player go with JC2. You will need a beefy rig for any of these games though.

Dont know about jc2, i havent played it yet but i agree with the rest as i have both games. Metro has better graphics then bfbc2 IMO, but mp bfbc2 alone is one reason to get it over metro. Both are great, just pick the other up when it goes on sale.

Well if surfing on top of a plane as it soars towards a huge fuel tank at an enemy base and jumping off at the last minute and parachuting to safety while watching the huge explosion sounds like fun, then Just Cause 2 is your game. I haven't been able to put it down, and it looks amazing in 3D.

You will not be able to fun Metro or JC2 with full settings in 3D. I have almost your exact setup.

You're really going to want to overclock that 920 more. You should be able to get at least 3.8 on that setup without even trying.

I have basically the exact same setup as well. I have not played Just Cause 2 yet, but I freaking loved Bad Company 2!! You will be able to play with all settings maxed out for the entire game and it looks phenomenal. Lots of different environments, and each one is awesome. I'm playing metro 2033 right now, but it will eat your system up and spit it out. I hate not being able to max out games with 3d vision, and with metro you wont even be able to come close to anything playable without bumping it down quite a bit. :'(

Ok, I just beat Metro and BC2 SP, and really liked them both.

Metro is incredibly challenging for any setup, I managed to run it maxed out with AAA and 16AF in very high @1680x1050, sometimes dropping to 1280x800. This was with 3 severely OCed and watercooled GTX280, a 4.0GHz i7 930 on an eVGA E760 with 6GiB DDR3 1600. And it did tax the system to the max.
Result is you get the best graphics ever seen in a video game, particularly in 3D. Period.

The SP of BC2 was hella fun, really good and witty cutscenes, straightforward gameplay and impressive visuals. 1680x1050 in DX10, all max and 16AF/4MSAA no stutter whatsoever. Think CoD, but with a better story, and at least imho, better gameplay. Just starting MP now, we'll see how that goes.

Last night I did the first mission in JC2, and to be honest, my initial reaction was 'meh'. But I heard that once it goes open world and past the missions it's meant to be great. What I did notice was that for rather average looking graphics it was very demanding on my setup.

To sum it up, if you're looking for the best visual 3D experience, go with Metro. If a more straightforward FPS is your thing and you're big on American patriotism, it's BC2 all the way. And if you just wanna blow things up and don't mind a rather arcadey visual presentation, JC2 will hit the spot for you.

JC2 if you like open world, create your own fun games. Otherwise, BFBC2. UT3 is cheap and looks great in 3D.

BC2 is the best game on the list IMO, Metro is the game with the best 3d Support, although it will kick your GPUs ass unless you have gtx295s SLied, or one of those new electric space heaters commonly referred to as "fermi cards" and gtx480s

Try the Just Cause 2 demo. I just downloaded it last night and the game is a piece of dung. Besides killing my slightly old system, the graphics weren't even good and the controls were crap. Gameplay seemed pretty weak for a demo, you'd think they would want to wow you but no. I wouldn't even bother downloading it if it was free. Just my 2 cents. Try it for yourself if you like.

Interesting perspective. For me Just Cause 2 is one of the most incredible gaming experiences
I've ever had ! The feeling of soaring through the air with your grappling hook and parachute
is awesome, there's a real 'action movie' feeling to this game.
The game definitely causes systems to chug. Even though I'm playing at 1024x768 the
frames take a huge hit in 3d and I had to lower a few settings, but it's running
smoothly and is quite enjoyable on my DLP projector !
