The original divinity OS was awesome with 3d enabled so I would like to play through the EE with it on as well.
Problem is when I enable 3d vision I get black graphics, so the HUD and menus show fine but portraits and actual game are just black, when I hit the disable key for 3d vision the game screen shrinks into a tiny box in the top left...
Very strange, maybe a fellow 3d user can help me out!

They stripped the DX9 renderer all together?
It becomes a trend I see lately:) First release Dx9 then change to DX11 and ask again for more money on basically the same game...rofl:))
NVM: I see now that I also have the EE in my Steam Library next to the original DX9 version.

I can't speak for any of the people creating fixes, but I doubt it. As I recall, the original was a decent sized project. It's probably not worth doing it all again when there are plenty of other games that need a fix right now, and the original version still works just fine (as far as I know).

It's quite a significant upgrade to the base game though, its not one of those cases of just rereleasing the game again in dx11.
I guess Ill be trying CM mode for my play through. But I figure all the UI interface elements are going to be an issue

If someone were particularly keen on playing this version in 3D they could learn shaderhacking with the goal of being able to fix this game someday...
However, I have no idea what difficulty this game would be to fix. Having the DX9 fix as a reference might be handy if the patterns haven't changed too much, but if they have it could easily be like fixing a totally new game.

Let me know if you get it working in CM mode, I cant even get the actual graphics to show, it is just a black screen with a hud, even in CM mode. Tried a few different DX11 profiles too (AC3, BF4) no luck.

Yeah at this point I am having that same issue. So I'm waiting for that to be fixed. Because it does this even without 3d on at all!
Now, As darkstarsword suggested I have actually now begun my journey into the world of shader hacking So I may look at this at some stage if no one else does. However It's early days for me and I've already got frustrated at my attempt to modify an existing fix, and my request for some help kind of fell on deaf ears. (it might just be an obscure problem) So I don't know how long that will be.

I'd suggest picking something easier if you're learning. The original required 194 shaders to be fixed. Compare that to mu fix of Defense Grid 2, which I was able to fix with just 12 shaders. My recommendation would be to look with something with a fairly small number of problems to tackle for your first project.

I'm not looking at this as yet. Like i said I haven't even been able to get this game to display in 2d properly right now. Maybe in the future as I get more proficient.
I am looking at guild wars 2 right now, and I only want to push the Action cam cross hair into depth. But it seems like this may be an obscure issue, as it requires texture filtering due to the dhader controlling a few different UI elements. I think I am almost there though. But I assume this one is tricky since I haven't had much in the way of feedback about it here.
Anyone else seeing this problem with this game where it wont even render correctly in 2d?

I remember I've made a quick "fix" myself early after the dx9 release by removing only a few problematic shaders (shadows and some lighting effects). And the game was great to play in 3D, with no broken shaders.
