Hi Helifax, Glad you ask. I can finally affirm that I am playing "Mad Max Payne 3" ;) Ergo, yes, I am using Max Payne 3 profile. :) With the first fix, as I mentioned in a previous post, I have had similar problems as the ones you mentioned. By disabling the "heat haze" in the options the problems where gone. But now, with the latest fix implemented, "heat haze" can be enabled and all is fine (again, minus the water reflections).

Did you made any other changes in nvidia control panel? max pre-rendered frames, vsync etc? Did you made any other changes in wrapper ini file ? How did you install the driver? everything is from 355.98 package? What settings do you have in-game? (can you share a picture?) I am very puzzled now as why this works for you:))

Worked out the pattern for the reflections and specular highlights. It's one of the shadow shaders so the same pattern might need to be applied to some of the other shadow shaders as well: https://github.com/DarkStarSword/3d-fixes/commit/5e29434f33f1238c5cd58806ff589ab20e3d8998
I still need to disable Heat Haze + Bloom as it renderes in one eye only.
I noticed the bloom was 2D as well (not sure about heat haze), and can likely be fixed via a [TextureOverride] - need to track down the relevant render target(s).

Changing it to higher level causes problems. (so, it might be that, with the latest fix, it is not the "heat haze" the culprit but the DOF...) Here are my settings that works: I can't remember from which page I have downloaded the fix that works, so I have uploaded it from my machine here: http://constantin.me.uk/Stereoscopy/Mad%20Max/Mad.Max.3DFix.zip.jpg In the NVidia Control Panel, all is default but Multi display which I've set to "Single display..." and Power management Mode set to "Prefer Maximum Performance". I have made no changes in the wrapper.ini. After DDU-ing the previous driver I've installed 355.98 minus NVidia Experience. I hope it is indeed only the DOF causing you problems. I really wish it works for you too. Please let me know. :) Respect.

Thanks DarkstarSword!!! i will update the fix later....i'm not home right now. I forgot to mention....you need to set DOF = NORMAL....sorry guys for not mentioning before. All other settings you can Max out. Normally when i install a game, the first thing i do is to remove DOF and Motion Blur, really not necessary in 3D. Also i want to completely remove DOF in this game (or make a preset ON/OFF)...there are some nasty blurring parts in some angles.

Big thx guys and what a fantastic work again! Just tested with 980Ti Single @ VG278H @ 1920*1080 @ Win 7-64 @ 355.82 driver. Everything works perfect with DOF = Normal. All other settings maxed out. Performance also great with 980TI constant 60 fps and about 60-80% GPU usage. Once again, thx for keeping our hobbie alive!
