Seems that this forum/topic is dead aswell like many other 3D forums about 3dVision so i assume the 3DVision glasses are not working and are useless and never will work in future.
Again, i say it again, i soooo regret that i bought it.
For al;l you people that don't have 3dVision Glasses and read this, probably not but i suggest NOT to buy the glasses. I did and i spent also money on 3d monitor and VGA card, and found out it was all for nothing.
I know people going to quote my post and say that i am complaining everytime, but what they expect xD
That people that buy this are happy? nah
JUST DON'T BUY ANY 3D STUFF. IT DOESN'T WORK.

Are you DAFT? Why would you even claim that this thread or even this forum is dead?
It's not like you necro'd this thread.
Between this post and your one in Space Engineers, you could just go away and never come back as far as I care. No one is going to help you if you continue to talk shit.
BTW, this thread is for OpenGL games and ummm....Don't Starve is not OpenGL.

FYI, those posts were hidden for some time which i didn't know,, so that's why.
Also i was re-directed to this site to ask for fixes, they didn't say it is only for openGL.
So yes, probably i stop asking because everytime i am at a wrong site to ask something.
That's the reason you see "shitty" posts from me as you would call it.
It's a normal question. Otherwise re-direct me to a site where i can ask this question. i'll bet there is no site for that.
Maybe someone else knows more about this so i'll see what comes up.
If you don't know an answer , then i suggest you to stop posting to me then because i continue to ask, no matter what others say.

This thread is NOT DEAD!
But I don't check the nvidia forums from 2 to 2 minutes to see if someone posts here or not. Have other things to do besides that...
You should remove your comment as well. As for the game, NO there is no FIX and NO I DO NOT PLAN to make any fix for that game.

Dude, all I know is that PirateGuyBrush and Myself were helping you with Space Engineers, then suddenly the thread disappeared from the front page and moved to the back page. Your account profile also disappeared, no idea exactly what happened. But judging by your posts, you deleted your profile at that time and later re-opened it or something.
So that, coupled with your shitty posts knocking 3D, I for one, feel no inclination to help you.

You're entitled to your opinion, but name calling and bad mouthing will get you no where.
I hope your 2D gaming experience is better than your 3D experience. Personally, I'll continue to enjoy 3D.

Hello!
First of all, I'd like to thank helifax for sharing his work with us all and giving us a good chance to experience OpenGL applications using 3D Vision.
I have a question for helifax. Here you said:
The wrapper is aimed to work for any openGL (openGL 1.x up to 4.4). However, like HelixMod it will be not universally (some development intervention) will still be required for specific games.
but in your Introduction video I seemed to understand that the wrapper requires Programmable Pipelines which appear only in OpenGl version 2 or later?
I have a number of older OpenGL 1.x games that I'd love to play in Stereoscopic 3D (Soldiers of Fortune II comes to mind).
I know you said that extra development is needed to make a game really compatible with the wrapper so I suppose it's just a fool's dream anyway. But out of curiosity, did I misunderstand or is there at least the possibility to have the wrapper function also with OpenGL 1.x games?
Thanks a lot!

His wrapper has gone through several revisions. It also works with fixed pipelines via it's Legacy mode. If you read through the thread, you might find the game that you are wondering about has been made to work.
Some games are listed here

Others are hidden in the thread.

Thanks, D-Man11.
I checked that list already before and found one game I love (and modded): Knight of the Old Republic. So just because of that it is already worth the download. Older games are not in that list though and that is why I thought Open GL 1.x engines were not supported.
Still, even if they are, I got the impression that lots of individual work on each title is needed to make it work properly. But I might have misunderstood.

Sorry for the confusion. The videos are basically from version 1.xx. The latest version of the wrapper is 4.19. The videos still provide a good understanding how things work, but are not entirely accurate anymore;) I know I need to update them at some point, but never got the time to do it...
What you should try is the following:
- Download the wrapepr from here: http://3dsurroundgaming.com/OGL3DVision.html
- The game is x86 so use the correct wrapper;)
- Copy it next to the game's exe
- In the Ini file:
Find this line:
[Legacy_OpenGL_Calls]
LegacyMode = false | Currently used in older games like: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1&2
and set "LegacyMode = true"
- Save the ini file.
- Use the Compatibility Tab of the game's exe and set it to ALWAYS RUN IN ADMINISTRATOR mode.
- Start the game.
If everything works perfectly you should have 3D Vision kick in and the game should be stereo;) If not... we'll need to do more debugging;)
Hope this helps;)

This game does work with Helifax's wrapper and I recall using some ini tweaks and console commands to improve the experience. I did post somewhere in this forum about getting Soldier of Fortune II working. I'll try to find the post and link it here.

If you do, please tell me Driver version, gfx card etc
