A strange problem caused by 3D Vision Driver for Quadro
I bought a NVIDIA 3D Vision Bundle and HP Quadro FX 580 card this July. Since I am still using Windows XP, I set up the glasses by following the instructions in http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtop...quadro&st=0. Well, everything worked well until yesterday I upgraded the graphics and 3D Vision drivers. I uninstalled the older drivers, reboot, and then installed the 191.66 driver and 3D Vision Driver for Quadro (Windows XP). After that, the problems appeared: (1) very serious cross-talk between stereo-images and (2) blinking. I tried different settings in the nVidia Control Panel and also updated the VBIOS of the video card. But all could not solve the problems. Finally, I rolled back to the older 186.30 (graphics) and 186.18 (3D vision, 32-bit vista) drivers. Hmm..., what is wrong with those newer drivers?

Everyone is having problems with these drivers. They are screwed. Can't help too much but perhaps troll through the forums looking for flickering threads... ??
Other than that, sit tight and cross your fingers nvidia fix this soon!

Was this issue ever resolved ? If so, what was the solution. I am in the same boat - running Quadro FX 3800 on Win XP 32-bit with quadro drivers(191.78) and USB controller driver(190.62) ? I maybe not be testing this completely, but what I did for testing is just view the GeForce 3D Vision Experience reel(from the installation CD), but no sign of any stereoscopic or any type of 3d activity. Any recommendations ? It does show that the driver is loaded, since the emitter turns green, but no signs of any 3d activity.
