It seems that game bundles tied to new a new GPU purchase, now require the GeForce Experience. Where this seems to become a problem, is if you already own the game or do not want said game, this limits your ability to sell it or give it away to a friend.
When redeeming, it checks to see if the GPU is present that the game was bundled with. So, if you bought a GTX 1050ti for your HTPC and want to use the included game with you GTX 1080 on your main rig...aint going to happen. Unless you temporarily install the GPU on your main rig???? But does it need to re-verify the existence of the bundle GPU at anytime in the future???
If you sell it or give it away, the person will need to own a GPU that was designated in the bundle. It's possible that even the same GPU might be excluded, since GeForce experience might see it as an existing GPU that pre-dates the promotion. (an assumption on my part)

It's because Geforce Experience is nothing more than a glorified root kit.
It can check all your hardware and software and send all the info back to Nvidia for them to sell to third parties or get their AI to process for god knows what twisted reasons.
What's wrong with selling a game you get free with a graphics card you bought?
If you've already got the game are you supposed to wait until the promotion ends and they bundle a different game?
It doesn't sound like they've thought this through.
What a piss take.

What a bunch of horse-hockey. Why should they care what you choose to do with a bundled game?
Personally I've NEVER purchased a GPU based on what game comes with it... and in fact have never purchased a GPU that came with a game that I actually wanted to play.
