No, that's wrong information. In nvidia control panel top left toolbar, click on view (I think) and uncheck the Physx and GPU usage options. I'm not at my computer at the moment but this is certainly better information than previously given.

The new patch has made the game flicker in dx11 and 3d mode for me. Anyone else have the same problem?
[/quote]

The game is flickering for me as well. I've spent the last 3hrs trying various combinations. This only occurs with the combination of DX11 + 3D. If I ran in DX9 + 3D the flicker went away. If I ran in DX11 + no 3D the flicker went away. It's only flickering through the left eye for me.

I've used the following drivers:
290.53
285.62
280.26

-I tried disabling tesselation, dynamic shadows, vsync, Anti Aliasing. No luck.
-For surround, I tried switching from bezel corrected resolution (6000 x 1080) to regular resolution (5760 x 1080)
-I tried switching from surround to single monitor gaming. Flicker still occurred, with the added annoyance of the Warning message while having a second display attached.

The only option for me is to run in DX9 right now. I saw everyone else complaining that DX11 is only broken due to the performance issues. I'm glad someone else is seeing the flickering as well. It occurs throughout the performance test.

My setup:
2x GTX 480s
3x Alienware 2310 3D displays

I just double checked bc I hadn't played Batman with the latest betas, but did not see this problem.

Can you try totally disconnecting other monitors, or alternatively, setting up your monitors in the Nvidia Control Panel instead of Windows display properties?

Also, with the flickering, is it noticeable even without the glasses (like a strobe effect), or is it just a desyncrhonization of one of the lenses? If possible, can you try to change the USB port that your emitter is connected to, preferably one that is not attached to any USB hub.

For single monitor:
I disabled the additional monitors in Nvidia control panel. Once I re-enabled them the warning message went away. I've got a repeatable case of getting that warning message, which I'll include below. It's possible that single monitor wasn't flickering, and only the warning message was preventing it's use. Anyways, DX11 + 3D is now playable for me on a single monitor.

For 3d surround:
When I tried surround again the flickering is still occurring. I can see the flickering without the glasses as well. The emitter was connected directly to a USB slot in the motherboard, but I tried a couple other slots just in case. I made sure the control panel settings were the same as the Windows display properties. I make changes almost exclusively using the Nvidia control panel.

Thanks for the help.

Repeatable case of error:
1. Set SLI configuration to "Span displays with Surround".
2. Play Batman at surround resolution in DX11
3. Set SLI configuration to "Maximize 3D performance"
4. Change Batman resolution using the Launcher, and play with 1920x1080 resolution and DX9.
Results: After running the game in single monitor mode receive the error. "Warning: attempt to run Stereoscopic in non-stereo display mode, please change to a acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes" The message doesn't go away until you disable/re-enable the additional monitors OR revert back to "Span displays with Surround" setting.

Installing the 290... beta drivers netted 4-5fps increase for me. I'm also using a solid state drive now. Dunno if that's making a difference or not but I'll take it! 45fps average now in DX11.

Also Rocksteady released a free downloadable skin for Batman and a cheat code that allows you to play using any of the alternate skins right from the get-go. Imho the new skin looks better than the original so if this is news to you it may be worth checking out.

I just got the 3D Vision Play trial for my Panasonic VT30, running dual GTX580's. Same issue as above, the left eye has a really annoying flicker in the left eye. If I close my right eye I can see it better and it's like a strange single-color texture is going by the screen. Very annoying, unplayable.

I think I had this problem briefly when I first got Batman using the 285s maybe? What version drivers are you running? Pretty sure the 290s are recommended for Batman, I think that's how I fixed the issue I had with incorrect rendering in one eye.

Ok just retraced my steps back to this post and remember now: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=216385&view=findpost&p=1334775

I had some issues with 290.36 where my SLI settings wouldn't stick on a reboot and I had general flakiness/instability running them in any game. The 290.36 showed the one-eye artifacting for me, but the 285 were fine, so once I reverted back to them I was OK. But ultimately I found out the 290.36 SLI issues I had were due to my Realtek NIC drivers, and updating those made the 290s perfectly stable for me.

So I would try the 285s and see if they are OK, are you having any other odd issues with SLI with the 290s? What board and NIC do you have?

Nope, my board has a Marvell Yukon NIC, so that can't be it. Getting a new one soon with an Intel NIC though, hopefully better than either as I've never been a big fan of high-end motherboards using cheap NICs.

Edit: More on-topic, I've narrowed it down to an SLI issue. Without SLI it works perfectly, with SLI I get flickering in the left eye. It seems to be every other image in the left eye doing it, so it's probably only one of the cards doing it. Still unplayable though.

I am not getting 3D effects to work in Arkham City. I have "Enable stereoscopic 3D" checked in the NVIDIA Control Panel. 3D works in the test application and in Battlefield 3. My TV does switch to 3D mode when I run Arkham City, but both left and right images are identical. Any ideas?

The options in the control panel are greyed out except for "Enable stereoscopic 3D" which is checked and black. Pressing Ctrl-F4 in the game does nothing. Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Ins also does nothing, even though that makes an info box appear in other 3D applications.
