When do you play with 3D vision?
I have noticed that i only play with 3D vision when i really want to experience a game the first time at its fullest. Its like when i use headphones or not. Let me explain

When i buy a new game i have longed for i allways turn off all the lights and put my headphones on with high volume and no distractions around me. When i have finished the game or just doing sidequest after or hunting achivments or whatever i usally play with my bad tv sound at a low or medium volume or sometimes even listening to something else like a podcast.

I noticed that i use the same pattern when playing with 3D vision. Its like i only play a game with 3D vision when i am playing "seriously", but when i really just play for fun or relax i dont use it. When and when do you not use 3D vision?

Im probably very much the same as you. Headphones on lights off for a full blown emersion experience then the lights come on, the 3d off (sometimes) and the TV comes on, when I am looking for a more casual experience with a game.
I also rarely use 3d for a competitive FPS. (although L4d(2) always in 3d as its not really a twitch skills FPS like COD or BC2)

ALL the time. :)
Unless its onpengl game of course, or it just doesn't work in 3d, or is a 2d game. 90% of the games I have work just fine in 3d so I almost always have my goggles on when gaming.

All the time, unless some cutscene or something looks horrible, then I'll switch it to 2d until it's over. If a game doesn't work or look good in 3d, I just don't play it. That may change some day, but right now I'm pretty taken with 3d.

I'll try it on any game, but if it doesn't look right to me I'll go 2D. I don't think it's suited to RTS games, but drivers and shooters all look good. As mentioned above though I can't play MP shooters in 3D as I just get my ass handed to me.

you just need a proper RTS game for 3d to become serious advantage. (Terrain)

Its huge advantage in the game called "men of war"
