It sounds like an image convergence issue. Sadly unless the convergance can be changed there's not much you can do.
[/quote]
Thx for trying to help.
I can adjust the convegence in-game with hot keys (ctrl+F5, F6), the image improved definitly and got sharper (no doubles/ghosts, definitly better, but it seems the lenses do not flip, no stereo. Also, the images still "trembles" horisontally a little.
Some things I forgot to mention:
- in TW08, when stereo in on, the 3-click "clock" moves in (quick) steps, not continously - unplayable.
- the game plays correctly in 2D, IF stereo is turned off from the beginning in the control panel. If, then, I turn on stereo, try to play the game (TW08) in stereo, close the game, turnoff stereo in control panel, and try again to play in 2D, the image is correct in 2D, but the "Clock" moves again in (quick) steps, not continously, and the game is unpalyable in 2D, either. I have to start with stereo turned off right form the begining, when I play the game 1st time after I turn on the computer, and then it plays correctly.
- Solutiongaming have guidelins for setting up games to play correctly in stereo. For TW08, they are the same as given by the green overlay. I downloaded from there stereo pics and a stereo video clip for TW08. They play correctly in Nvidia's stereo player.

Those marrines and marauders look like those chunky tabletop figurines you see in Games Workshop.
The mouse cursor is 2d but that makes no odds whatsoever - you just use the centre of the 'two' cursors. This is made easy because the depth doesnt change that much compared with DA:O

Thus far, its Metro 2033. It is supposedly the first game to use global illumination, which is a feature of 3d development rendering software like Maya and 3d Studio Max, the progams used to make special effects and 3d movies like Toy Story and Final Fantasy. The Metro 2033 level designers and artists went crazy with actual polygon usage instead of using mostly less effective bumb mapping or simple textures to, create buttons on a panel for example. Speaking of panels, one part of the game has these old control panels which, going from memory, I think have between 50 and 100 modeled buttons on them. In the abandoned train tunnels there are probably over 40 individual heavy gauge wires on each side running on the way along, including supports. Also, pipes, abandoned structures, early stalagmite formations, spider webs, glowing mushrooms, puddles of water, train tracks, fallen debris, etc. I noted one 2 ft. square area of ground filled with water had about 5 layers of geometry going on looking straight down. Combine that with the amazing high resolution textures they used for the most part, many of which have facinating specular maps (which create reflections in shiny areas) and it looks very real. I played through already twice and i didn't think i'd have it in me to play through again for a few years, yet the additional dimension adds adds so much information to my brain that i didn't have before, making for a lot of new experiences. When in the area where the Russians and Nazi's, that area now *feels* huge and when I first came there and looked over the edge about 5 stories below to the murky irradiated water below, i got a visceral feeling of height. The biggest change was the outdoor environments, which were almost too noisy with geometry before and i really didn't like, now became quite interesting to look at and i really wanted to explore. The noisy scene gave way to a cohesive 3 dimensional picture where every detail had its place and the 3rd axis and it just made more sense.
The biggest downside, aside from all the things which differ from my "perfect game", would be the walk speed. Its too fast, its basically a run. Its much faster than your A.I. companions, which are with you for half the game. Which means your constantly stopping and starting movement to keep pace with them. Since it also has no acceleration, it looks very unrealistic and more importantly feels that way when you instantly stop dead and instantly run. I have my fov set to 70, (from 55 default i think) so that is a factor. I really feel that since we spend 90% of our time moving around at a walking pace, we are used to the world passing us by at that speed, making everything else look unreal.

If the walking mechanic using mouse and keyboard bothers you (it does me, for many games) try using xbox 360 wireless controller for pc (need usb reciever).
It makes many games like Metro much much smoother and cinematic.(especially in stereo) Metro has an excellent controller support, very smooth.
The games are easier on the eyes and less tiring to play.
Shooting can be somewhat harder until you get used to it, but head over to cheathappens.com, pick up the gametrainer which enables cheats:

Errrr, so you buy a first person shooter then you let some bot do the shooting for you?? Anyway, he's talking about the walking speed not the mechanics.
I've finished Fallout 3: New Vegas finally. Excellent game with great 3D! Water reflections don't look real good but, like Divinity 2's expansion, there isn't all that much of it around most of the time so I never even bothered to turn it off. The Pip Boy confuses the NVIDIA crosshair but you can fix that simply by hitting ESC twice.

I surely do agree! BS is a real breath of fresh air. It introduces a few new fun wrinkles while retaining the character of fps. And the quality of the artwork and graphics is superb. Is BAA a fps?

Out of curiosity I've tried Cryostasis again to see how it works with the new drivers and I find it's a lot better now. You can tweak depth / convergence to give a really good 3d effect, and with shader 3 you can turn everything on and it looks perfect in 3d other than water which has a Bioshock 2 effect, it looks terrible, however there's almost none on this game. I've played for an hour or so and this game can be quite scary in 3d, recommended.

I need to chime in for Delta Force Xtreme 2. It has some glitches, You you have double vision on your gun, and friendly tags are doubled over players, but oh man is this game awsome in 3D. You can really crank up the convergence and use the Nvidia crosshairs. Bullets with tracers come right at your forhead. It really is amazing in 3D.

Haven’t seen this game mentioned here before, so I’ll add it – World of Tanks: http://www.worldoftanks.com/ - an action MMO (gameplay is mostly like “Counter-Strike on 2WW tanksâ€) . Tank models in 3D look absolutely great, the feeling is like toying with professionally made high-detailed plastic models. The backgrounds is also good and high-detailed, especially cityscape maps. Also it’s the first my 3D Vision game with absolutely no ghosting, even with 3D depth set to maximum. Its free-to-play, so anyone can download and try.

Quake 3. I just love roaming around is those Gothic levels. Sometimes I just go in with no bots and walk around admiring the architecture. You just can't appreciate the subtleties of the Quake 3 engine without 3D.

It sounds like an image convergence issue. Sadly unless the convergance can be changed there's not much you can do.
