Any plans to utilize hdmi 2.0 and higher resolutions/higher frame rates?
I got a new 4k tv that works great with 3d vision but I was sad to see that it's still using the old limitations of hdmi 1.4 which is 720p at 60fps or 1080 at 30.
Is there any plan to update the 3dvision software to take advantage of the higher bandwidth that usb 2.0 allows for with 3d?

Hahahaha hohohohoho hehehehehehehe. You got any more jokes?
Seriously, you have more chance of the virgin mary coming down on a chariot of fire and enabling it through tele-kenisis than:
a) Getting a reply from Nvidia
b) Getting them to remove this pointless limitation.
People have been asking for this for a long time!
I think Nvidia think crippling 3DTV Play will make us buy a 1080p (or higher) 3D Vision monitor so they'll get money through licensing or something equally as greedy.
All it does for me is make me want to jump ship to AMD.
Maybe it was part of the deal to the monitor manufacturers when they all said 'why would people buy a 3d vision monitor when they can use their TV's and monitors for 3D?'
It's the only logical explanation.
Nvidia are greedy dogs. The 'game works' that AMD cant optimise for and all the closed propriety features like physx, 3D Vision, G Sync.
What do Nvidia do when they have no competition for a few years? they DOUBLE THE PRICES OF HIGH END GFX CARDS!
first the $999 titan which sold well, then they $3000 titan Z which didnt sell well.
They are testing the waters to see how much people are willing to pay!
Ive been loyal to Nvidia for decades but with 3D not being supported i'm jumping ship if the AMD Rage turns out to be faster at 4k.
I find Nvidia's ethics totally skewed and frustrating. AMD on the other hand create open stadards and 'give something back' e.g freesync, mantle (which direct X 12 is built on)
Its just a shame that AMD are like buses. Red with bad drivers!
I'm going to give them another shot though. 3D was the only reason I stayed loyal to nvidia!
It sure isnt the customer service or the prices thats for sure.

Do I get it wrong, or we're on route to getting screwed by Nvidia, but this time totally screwed?
now: no HDMI 2.0 usability for 3D Vision 1080-1440p 120Hz mode, not to mention 4K through DP 1.2 or 1.3
2016: first cards (Pascal) with no DVI-DL outputs.
2017: "3D Vision is dead" era starts, all 3D monitors can now be thrown into the bin, since for the Pascal's users, there's no way to turn 3D on them in any native resolution.
Tell me I'm wrong.

You can use 3D Vision just fine via Display port:) I don't see any problems there:) You will need an adapter though to use the current gen monitors :) But I believe there are monitors with DP that are 3D Vision:) (The ROG Swift perhaps?:)
DP is actually an upgrade from DL-DVI;)

OK, but besides the fact I choosed no-DP version for 1000 instead of DP-equipped version for 1400 (big difference in price for me) when I was buying XL2411Z monitor, isn't there a problem with many monitors that do have DP, because the 3D only works with DVI-DL port?
I think I saw some guy here, posting about this problem.
I sure hope we'll get inexpensive OLED 3D monitors before non-DVI cards, but the new AMD card (the one that will be introduced in 2 weeks from now) already lacks the DVI-DL. It's not an Nvidia card though, so there's still a tiny hope for Pascal, even if adapter method fails.

It started in 2010 :) Back in the day when I was literally shouting for a "program" to let people disable wrong shaders in Gothic 4 Arcania:)

Soon after Helix released his wrapper and it was a dream come true;))
Sooo 3D Vision technically WAS DYING from the launch/beginning as very little titles supported it in the first place:)

Umm, I thought the end was before it even really started. Back in 2007, when they removed the control panel used for 3D.
