HDMI / DVI cabling length and joins. keeping 120hz
I have a projector and a plasma which I want both to run.
I am looking at getting into the world of 3D gaming...
I currently use a HDMI splitter for this job, but I have no doubt that this will not work for 3D vision as it probably wont pass the 120hz signal.
This leaves me with a few dialemas.
1) would it be feasable to have the TV and the projector on the two DVI outputs from the card itself, in clone mode?
2) Since i wont be using the splitter, the HDMI cable for my projector is not a) not long enough and B) not a DVI cable, so:
rather than buy a 15m DVI to HDMI cable which may not work due to its length could I use a HDMI coupler and a 2M HDMI - DVI cable? ideally i would have prefered a female HDMI to male DVI - but none seem to exist.
I really dont want a headache setting up 3D vision, and dont want to have numerous weak links in my chain.
Does anyone have any experience with a 15m hdmi - dvi cable? or experience with joins in the cabling while keeping 120hz compatibility.

I have a similar question I need to go from my gtx 470 to my projector.... 25 ft or 7.5 meters
I also dont know which cable I will need my projector is optoma hd 66 only 1.3 hdmi or vga
should I go the hdmi to dvi route or get a dual link dvi with a vga dongle for the projector?
