CRASH. Damn it. I uninstalled the 78.01 set at the same time, and rebooted. Installed the 91.31 video drivers and rebooted. Installed the 91.31 stereo drivers and rebooted. Reloaded monitor driver to access max resolutions. Did the medical image thing, and it worked fine. Set all stereo resolutions to use max, and tried a logo test at 1024x768 at 120 hz (which works perfect with old drivers). I got a weird nvidia title bar at the top for afew seconds, and them my computer crashed. The drivers were set to activate with hotkey, so I went to try World of Warcraft. Got a black screen for a second, and then the comuter crashed again.

DAMN IT!

Uninstalling and going back to the "safe" 78.01 drivers. sigh.

What kind of equipment do you have running?

Did you try uninstalling the drivers with DriverCleaner Pro (free)?

I'm anxiously waiting to go home to try it out.

Regards,
Chopper

Last time I tried driver cleaner I got a non-working keyboard???, considering that my keyboard is plugn'play and has nothing to do with the nvidia drivers.
I'n not using this program again. :)

I've found that I get a constant BSOD when enabling stereo by hotkey in Brother's in Arms: Road to Hill 30. I also got one randomly during the nVidia test application whilst playing with the refresh rate keys.

The PC is a fresh install of windows with the 91.31 drivers installed as the first drivers.

GPU: 7900 GT (91.31)
mobo: nForce 4 Ultra (amd 6.85)

Is there any place where we can feed back these errors?
If so which dump files, etc should I send?

I get BSOD with brothers in arms as well but most games are much better for me then with 91.28, still no KA. 3D IMAX movies are much better with this driver.

Found a way to reliably crash the clasic control panel on my machine.

Go to screen resolutions & refresh rates
Try to add a custom resolution (mine was 1440x900x32@60Hz)
This fails with the error 'Custom resolution could not be created'
Click cancel
Change the colour quality (from 16 to 32 or 32 to 16, doesn't matter)
BSOD, driver stop error

This does not occur if you close the control panel and re-open it before changing the colour quality.

Follow up:

The custom resolution of 1440x900x32@60Hz should have worked.
It does work in the new control panel. In the old control panel I have to first change the refresh from 60Hz to some thing else, then back to 60Hz. At this point the custom resolution will add correctly.

Found another problem.

With the custom resolution of 1440x900 (which used to work with the older drivers) I now get some strange results.

Instead of scaling to the full monitor I see the screen only displayed in the top left. Then there is a black border to the right followed by the left hand side of the main screen.

I cannot move the mouse outside the bounds of the top left full desktop.
If I move the mouse over to the left hand edge of the screen it does not show up in the duplicate left hand edge at the right of the screen.
Other effects from the left hand edge do display on the duplicate left hand edge (e.g. selecting things, windows, menus, etc.).

As per my other post, these drivers are foobar -- not one of my games works (including World of Warcraft). Please fix NVidia, so I can buy a 7800GS :)

Thanks Nvidia . Most of the games I tried work fine . So far one game that didn't work was Pacific Fighters .

Games work include WW2 fighters, EECH, LO, Alice in wonderland .

7800GS + 91.31 stereo pair drivers are super fast .
