what's your FPS? how often do you experience performance drop?
I actually gained FPS coming from 1440P DSR on a 1080p monitor to a full native 1440P monitor
I think DSR is a little more demanding than native 1440P.
Otherwise no idea how much FPS is from 1080p to native 1440P...been playing in DSR 1440P since DSR released

- Spintires (absolutely awesome definition)
- Killer Instinct
- Mortal Kombat XL
- GTA V (only if your graphic card has 8GB memory or more)
- Dreadnought (you have to ajust 3D to 100%)
Some 1080p games but very enjoyable in 3d:
- Asphalt 8 (Windows 10 store)
- Gods of Rome (Windows 10 store)
- Pinball FX2 (Steam, not w10store)
I have created a Steam 3D Community: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/Stereo3D
Hope to see there some of you.

The Witcher 3
Pretty much any Tomb Raider game from Legend on up to the latest.
Maybe Metal Gear Solid 5
It's kinda hard to say without knowing what you like.
