Anachrome glasses are better than paper The superior color of Anachrome glasses
Anachrome glasses deliver a better experience than paper glasses if the images
are tightly overlaid. Nvidea has always gotten the spacing so screwed up. They
are suggesting that the wider spacing is for advance users. That is such BULL----!
Check out the animation sample, newly placed on www.anachrome.com. Use
even the crappy paper glasses if you don't have the good plastic ones. The
robot marching on the screen looks totally real. You can touch the damn thing, almost. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Video games that don't flicker,
or strain the eyes are readily possible with this simple RGB color technique and
glasses. Go see Robert Rodriguez's "Shark Boy" to see what anaglyph can do...
them image the effect on your game monitor. Try setting the spacing on your display to minimum and leaving it there!

The seperation is how deep the scene is supposed to be, so in a typicsl fps, larger seperation gives more depth. This ofcourse os only recomended when the scene is meant to have depth,
When a scene is not meant to have much depth, this does not apply.
The stereo driver is designed primarily for shutter glasses. The use of anaglyph is just an added bonus. Shutters are far superior to your anachrome glasses, or any colur lense solution, so it is not very fair to imply that your product is better, when in actual fact, cpmparing like for like, it doesnt stand a chance.
The advice about larger seperation beng for advanced users is correct.
Flicker issue only effects people with very old monitors which can''t support more than 85Hz.
Also, a word of advice. Flaming another company on a public forum can be seen as slander. I would be careful what I post.
We also dont need to be flaming each other''s methods in stereo3D''s infancy or indeed the technology will never mature. At the moment, nVidia are by far the best hope we have.
Next time, instead of flaming, I would instead express my point politely, and curtiously - they have earned it.
