SLI GTX285 + Win 7 Manufacturing RC => 1.10 Beta No go Can't install 1.10 beta CD. Anyone got
Guys, I'm building a i7 SLI GTX285 machine with Win 7 - 64 Ultimate, 1.09 CD installed and worked well but 1.10beta refused: the Geforce driver appeared to go thru the install process but at the end said "The system has not been modified" , the system however rebooted if OKed and upon re-entering the OS, stereo driver attempted the install sequence (it assumes the Geforce was successful installed) but at some point gave up with error message "not correct driver blah blah", and of course the Geforce driver was not installed, there's no Nvidia control panel afterwards.

I downloaded the certified Geforce driver 190.38 (same driver in 1.10beta CD) and tried to install by itself: No go. Same message as the other -> "System has not been modified".

Anyone successfully had 190.38 installed with i7 SLI + Win 7 - 64 Ultimate Manufacturing RC please give a holler. Nvidia team should also be aware of this so please post your result here just in case big brother's lurking.

EDIT: spelling

I had the same problem. I had to download the video card driver separately, it was the only way to install it.

I dug out the old HDD and got the 1.10 beta CD that was known to installed fine prior to building the new comp. and it installed without any problem. That was just very strange because I downloaded the 1.10 beta CD and the Geforce driver 190.38 yesterday but both were having problem with install.

Anyway, just wanted to clarify with folks who'd like to use 1.10 with Win7 - 64 RC + SLI => It works fine (barring file download integrity issue -> redownloading until it works /devil.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> )
