The Last Remnant Sweet RPG, uses Unreal Engine so should work
1 / 2
I encourage everyone who loves Square RPGs download the free pre-release demo from Steam of The Last Remnant.
It's uses the Unreal Engine so I KNOW 3D should work on it, but I can't get seperation. Convergence, yes. I figure it's a driver limitation since the demo was released after the latest 1.05.

Just to confirm, I also downloaded the game demo last night to see if it works in stereo and found it did not (at least not yet). I am currently using driver versions GeForce 182.06 WHQL / 3D Vision v182.07 BETA. I haven't tried to find any solution, just did a quick test.

Well if you just rename it to lol masseffect or fear2 .. till you get the one you like. I found no matter what I had to turn off "DynamicShadows=False" in the rushengine.ini (\My Games\The last remnant trial\RushGame\Config). Then 3d worked fine.

So wait, you can rename a game and the Nvidia 3D driver will mistake it for a different game and apply those profile settings? Do you rename the game directory or executable?

Launched the 3D mode is enabled and the menus have a little depth, flat in the 3D engine.
Did what you said and changed the exe to fear2.exe and samething. Had controls inside of game for 3D CRTL+F3 and what not but no 3d on the engine at all =( will try to mess with it later

Yes it will apply the profile for the *.exe you renamed. Just rename the *.exe

Try renaming the .exe file into ut3.exe (Unreal Tournament 3)... makes sense since it runs on the unreal engine -- which, according to nvidia, has excellent driver support. It worked well for me, however, I am still trying to figure out the best settings to tweak in the .ini... it's such a pain to restart every time just to see the effects of each change...

Anyone test it with full version? and if so could you explain with more detail please /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> sorry for bad english

I already tried renaming it to ut3.exe after seeing it uses unreal engine, however it had the same limited effect than mentionned before :
Any luck with this game using the new driver?
It's functioning in 3D, but the shadows are all doubled which makes it impossible to play for me. Unfortunately the demo doens't have advanced video settings to tweak, hopefully the retail version will buff this game up for S3D.

It is. The CTRL-ALT-Insert dialog states there is a problem with shadows but doesn't give a fix for it.
The cool thing is, I think they implemented the s3d settings with the game because it was requested so in this forum. Nvidia is listening! /yes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I think it's supported because it's a new game...don't know if I would get the same response if I am to make the same request for an older game
