Did you disable super resolution and other picture's tv options?
I tried everything, every setting in every menu I could find but nothing worked. I guess it was faulty because it truely was awful but I can't be arsed with an exchange or repair. Got a full refund no probs.

Hey Conan. I went to Bestbuy but my friend advised to wait till next week when prices change because of the super Bowl. However I found a someone locally who is selling his LG OLED65C6P Curved 65 Inch 4k 3D TV used for $500. What do you think?

While I'm here, can anyone confirm that the LG OLED55C6P displays 3D in full 1080p (per eye)? I know that with some models, the 65" model displays 1080p per eye, but the 55" model only displays 540p per eye.

Passive 3D HDTVs use a Film Pattern Retarder and require that anything input be converted to an Interleaved Format prior to being displayed. You will never get more than 1/2 resolution per eye, it will never be "full" per eye in 3D. never ever At a 3840x2160 resolution, you will get 3840x1080 per eye. Which is half per eye.

This distressed me, and I want to be sure this unit doesn't fall into that category.
displays 3D in full 1080p (per eye)?
Hmm, I guess I'm not sure what you meant by this? On a 2160P diisplay using a film pattern retarder, you will only get 1080i per eye. Half not Full. So your Full 1080P comment is confusing. It is not possible for any passive display to show a "progressive" format in 3D using a film pattern retarder. It can "only" display in an interlaced format. So whatever you are reading about 540P is wrong, it would be 540i. edit: A 4k can not display only 540 lines to each eye in fullscreen, if the source is not 4k, it's up-sampled and you get 1080 lines of resolution to each eye. The only way that you'd get only 540 lines of resolution to each eye on a 4K TV, is if a 1080 image is not upscaled and is shown in a ltterbox format.
I also use eye swapper, but that doesn't really effect anything. That just swaps the eyes at the begining but they eye's reverse on my 2016 OLED after 30 mintues and then every few minutes after unless I toggle the 3D, and then it happens about every 30 min. Ezzelin, I only heard one other report on this forum of someone with a 2016 OLED having the same problem, but I doubt many people own this set....I'll be testing my 65" in a few days and hopefully wont have the same issue.....but I have a feeling it will but either way it's worth having the best 3D picture availabe for a small annoyance every 30 min.
So what happened with 65" E6? Does it have the same problem?

The L/R eye swapping is NOT a problem with any 2016 E6 - a new OLED anti-burn-in setting (TV control panel) must simply be disabled. See https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/943900/3d-vision/search-information-about-edid-for-3dvision-on-lg-oled-4k-55ef950v-55ef9500-/post/5078498/#5078498, for example. As mentioned in other threads, 55 in has larger 3D FOV than 65 in TV, when viewed at FPR minimum distance (good 3D throughout screen area)...

I read that tread and didn't see any mentions of this problem, so it looks like Conan just didn't try that anti-burn-in setting.

Who would have thought it could have been such an unrelated setting that would cause the swap? ...and the e6 still amazes me every damn time I play a 3D game.
