The Adventures of Tintin in S3D - looks perfect screen attached
1 / 2
In The Adventures of Tintin: The Game, you will play as Tintin, the intrepid reporter and hero of the action-packed movie The Adventures of Tintin.
The game was developed in close collaboration with the filmmaking team, and the video game offers an authentic feel to the movie's enchanting environments and characters. You will experience nonstop action and adventure as you investigate the mystery of a lifetime that may lead to one of the greatest sunken treasures known to humans. Experience the adventure and exotic environments, and play as Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock, or three other unlockable characters, each with his own personality and skills.
I saw it S3D at at the gameshow last week and the guy was kind enough to let me make a screenshot :) I think it will be released in a few weeks and it sure looked 3d-ready to me (there is a tick option in-game to enable 3d-Vision) although the driver support is not there yet.

This could one of the 3D sleeper hits of the year. The 3D is amazing and the game reminds me a little bit of Trine (side scroller)but there are vehicle and FPS style action scenes which are really amazing. The game is fairly easy and straightforward but it's a good change of pace from all the typical action stuff out there. I played for like 4 hours straight! Everyone must check out this game.

From what I tried 1 month ago...the game does not support 3d Vision Surround... Even if you select a 3X resolution it will be displayed only on the center screen (lateral screens are black - aka huge black bars).
I thought people should know this if they play to buy it and play it in 3D Surround:) ... in case they didn't change it in the meantime:)

Does any one know the rating of this game on 3dvision?
I don't think its been rated by Nvidia because in the other thread, Andrew mentioned Nvidia had not received a build of Tintin to rate and seemed surprised to hear the 3D was so good. Tintin's launch date was set to coincide with the movie in the US I think, where it was already available in the EU and some other territories last month. Ubisoft games in general are very 3D friendly, so this doesn't surprise me too much.
The screens do look excellent, the cartoony nature of the graphics really lend themselves to S3D similar to games like this we've seen in the past like Alice, Trine, Fable III, Prince of Persia etc. For those that have the game, are there issues with any 2D cursors, crosshairs, healthbars etc at screen depth?

Andrew: Can you guys add a game profile for 3DV?
The game's SLI profile was added in the previous WHQL release if I'm not mistaken.
Guys and gals...this game has some potential for another great 3d showcase so let's work together to get to that goal.

There is an option to activate 3d vision in the game menu & an adjustable 3d slider. When set to max it looks pretty good.
Convergence is locked but this is because the game auto shifts 3d when there is a cutscene/ changes depth.
I have not yet got it to work in surround (3 screens)
