1 system, 2 displays Display both a 3D and normal display at same time.
We're wanting to run a simulation at a car show and want it running on a 3D monitor using 3D vision. This is for the player.
We also want the same simulation displayed on a normal screen (not 3D) so other patrons can watch it normally on the alternate display.
Is this possible and what setup would be needed?
We haven't used 3D Vision yet, so wouldn't know if its software comes with these kind of options.
Whoa... how did you get this to work? I've got the same setup and games always only appear on the 3D monitor. I would love to have this capability. I only have 3 pairs of 3D glasses and occassionally have more people than that for gaming.

Nothing special... just duplicated the displays via the windows display setup and away I went...

I had not actually tested this before now - but it does work.
Display one: Asus VG236H
Display two: Sony Bravia TV via HDMI
Both displays duplicated, both plugged into same GPU.
The Asus displays 3D, the Bravia does not.
See below: You can see the duplication of the boxes / house on the VG236H monitor.
oKay so I tried this and couldn't get 3D to run without the dreaded "Warning: Attempting to run stereo 3D in non-stereo 3D mode."
I tried everything I could think of - I noticed that after duplicating my screens that it defaulted the 3D monitor to HDMI-TV mode. So I changed that back to native resolution and refresh (120hz) Still no dice. I also made sure my 3D screen was still the 'main' one, and the copy was the 2D screen. What's really weird is that the 3D test application runs just fine with no such warning, and going through the 3D vision setup wizard also works fine. As soon as I start the game up though, forget it.
I'm trying this with Batman: Arkham City. I didn't try it with any other games though.

Excellent! Thanks so much for testing it out!!
Simple and perfect. :)
