I just want to say: - I always go with Asus Maximus Motherboards when I even think abour overclocking. So far, NONE, let me down from the 1st generation to the 7th! (I know I am "out-of-date" with current hardware, but still). Gigabyte on the other hand, where ALWAYS Mobos I'd avoid starting with the PRE-PENTIUM 4 era, when they would overheat the CPU for no apparent reason (Hey, I was an AMD CPU fan for a very long time actually!)... Decided to ditch them as NO-GO since then, and nothing ever since told me to ever go back!

My current motherboard is a Gigabyte board. I've had numerous blue screens and stability issues with it. With an overclocked CPU and RAM it has been failing to come out of sleep or even cold boot properly as of late... I'm thinking about replacing it or doing a CPU/motherboard upgrade as a result.

Next time Ill go back to asus for shure. I also never had any problems even with <200€ boards and i have always run overclocks. I just don’t know do i have the energy to switch board anymore as i now have installed 2 os fully. It never siezes to amaze me how a 350 board can fail in any aspect.

so what can we conclude from your memory graph? looked like 3600 mhz has higher FPS than 4000mhz? btw, u mentione dual boot Win 7 and Win 10.. how is it possible since the 8700K and its motherboard is not compatible with Win 7?

I read wrong.... i think there Was small difference ininimum frames. Well small but clear difference. I think the gameplay also felt better with 4000Mhz though its kind of hard to put to paper. I might have just felt so. But i would get 4000 memories if bying new setup. Atleast with Gigabyte they seem to Work just fine. Hopefully i get my loop on tomorrow so i get back to fall out. Though im not gonna run any extreme clicks as i have not delidded. Im just fine with 5Ghz

LOL i started filling my loop, Well i stated thinking how im gonna hook my system up. It has been easy before as i have not used Any onboard connections with the pump as i had 230 pump. Now i have a 12 volt ek/laing so it needs to connect to the motherboard. There is lots of ports in sormus gaming7 but i wonder what would be the best way to hook it up. So i need to check it out from somewhere. Should i connnect the water pump control to cpu and i i do where should i connect my radiator fans, is it best to use enough y cables to get only one connection for easy setup.... damn im lost with this LOL

Hey man, Does your pump have a separate power source than a fan header? If so, it likely doesn't consume any power from the fan header and is only using the PWM signal to gauge how hard it ought to be working. I would then check the current requirements of the 2 fans, and compare it against the CPU fan header on the motherboard in its manual. If the total required current by the 2 fans is less than what the header outputs, then you can easily get a Y splitter, though make sure the PWM signal on the splitter goes into only 1 fan! If it doesn't output enough current, then plug the second fan into another header and configure that header to work with the CPU temperature from the BIOS or windows software for the motherboard. So i decided i would hook up the power fan connector from the pump into cpu_opt (water cooling fan header) And the power into molex Offcourse and the radiator fans into cpu fan socket. I just need to make shure the cpu fan header can take four noctua NF-A14 ULN fans. They Are 0.48w each so its a max 2w and Gigabyte adventises you can hook up one pump of max 3A so i would assume i can hook up fans At 2A into one of the fanheaders like i now plan. Maby i should ask them . I could use my fan controller but im thinking as this motherboard so advertises versatility and watercooling readynes i would asume i can make all come together more easily when everything is connected into motherboards connectors, would you agree ? LOL i yet again found my self ditching my awsome pump mounting system as the ek(laing) pump is quite quiet its not without vibration like they never Are, my case bottom causes humming so even though i have dual dampeners on the pump and i changed the rubbery vibration preventer there Was still some annoying humm, i removed the screws from the pump mount, put some foam between the pump frame and the case and used zip ties so get it stay in place the humm is almoust gone, and the pump is running At max now. Doesnt look that cool but like i said you can’t even see inside LOL.

Why ? Atleast noctua sels y cables and they said i can use them to stack all 4 to one header.
You know 2 fans -> dual x 2 and those two pairs into one solid lead
