How anyone can consider going back to one eyed gaming after actually experiencing a correctly 3d supported title, still bewilders me. I just can't bring myself to do it and actually find looking at a 2d image uncomfortable now and wrong.

i7-4790K CPU 4.8Ghz stable overclock.
16 GB RAM Corsair
ASUS Turbo 2080TI
Samsung SSD 840Pro
ASUS Z97-WS3D
Surround ASUS Rog Swift PG278Q(R), 2x PG278Q (yes it works)
Obutto R3volution.
Windows 10 pro 64x (Windows 7 Dual boot)

EA added in mantle support into title afterwards and it didnt really pan out. Only exceptions I can think of MMO's/active online games. This is is almost certainly due to square enix/microsoft contract.

Other one can be place for any other speculations and debates. As soon as you make some other point people will convert this topic into battle over what`s best and where is the future and how better was before....oh wait :/

People shouldn`t care about DX12 in here because this fix is DX11 only and this topic was created for this purpose. Other one can be place for any other speculations and debates.
As soon as you make some other point people will convert this topic into battle over what`s best and where is the future and how better was before....oh wait :/

Correct. It's useless to add a DX12 path to a game and expect the fps to fly off. DX12 code certainly can be much more efficient than DX11< but it takes time and a lots of effort to get there.

I got a Problem with one Location. Perhaps you have an Idea. I got this Problem with the community Fix and the officiall Fix too. Its not a Problem of your fix! In Soviet Installation are the Clouds in wrong Depth. Close to me. This Clouds http://www.ign.com/wikis/rise-of-the-tomb-raider/File%3AScreenshot_(21).png In other Locations of the Game its all okay. Looks relay nice. Only this Clouds not. Re-installed the game, the Nvidia-driver and profiles and nothing helped.

That is a problem with the game yes. If I try and correct the clouds in that location everywhere else in the skybox will be broken. So I prefer one less-than-ideal location and ok in everywhere else rather than fixed in one place and broken in any other map.
The sky is definitely a bit too close to the camera but is not that bad... but enough to notice:)

Unfortunately, I appear to have a 2D aiming crosshair, fixed at screen depth, even with March 7 update. I am using Xbox controller as interface. Everything else is superb with the community fix. Anyone else still experiencing this issue, or have any suggestions?

hey Whyme466, Are you playing in 2160p? I don't have problem in 2160p with 3D crosshair but as soon as I changed resolution for 1440p (in game settings), crosshair becomes 2D fixed depth(and strangely is 3d on few places only... I don't figure wth)

Thanks for the reply, chtiblue. Yes - you are right - I have been using 1440p resolution, since 2160p has been too taxing for my 980 TI, with my preferred graphics settings. Sounds like I need to modify my settings to make 2160p work, with this interesting problem arising from GPU scaling...
