I am really hoping this game will play nice with 3d vision. I searched the web to see if any info was released but couldn't find much. I did find one forum where a poster stated that it would be 3d ready, but I find that hard to beleive with no official publication.

I would also like to know. If anyone picks it up, give us a quick review of the 3dness, please. Strongly considering getting, but might grab the 360 version if the 3d's no good.

I didn't know this was coming to PC, I thought it was exclusive to 360 which I have it already on.
Great news, hopefully everything works good in stereo
Would have loved to get it on PC, however I wouldn't be able to get any new Ubisoft games with their DRM software included. I don't like not being able to play my single player games without a constant working Internet connection. I don't own a 360 so no use for me to go that route.

It goes out every now and then, maybe once a month or something to that effect. May only be for a few hours though. Network router may freeze also. the fact I'm tethered to my internet connection to play a single player game is more an issue with Principle than anythng else. If I want to play online I would purchase an online MP game. and I have a console for that.

Kind of a dumb reason to deprive yourself of one of the best games of the year.

I guess. no big deal tons of others will go ahead and enjoy it. I'm not the biggest splinter cell fan anyway.

I really doubt its one of the best games of the year...though I'll find out soon enough. I hated the last Splinter Cell, but loved the first three games. Either way, the Ubisoft DRM has been cracked, so you can go buy the game and use the crack so you don't need the DVD in the drive (or the internet on). Thats what I did with NFS Shift, as I hate the sound of a disk spinning in the drive all the time. Don't worry about it affecting anything online, as it doesn't do anything to your CD key, so it works just like it normally does.

Reall, 15fps? I see by your call sign that you have 470's in sli, and your getting that low of a frame rate? Doesn't sound right. Did you try disabaling sli? Hopefully this game was programmed to take advantage of sli.
I plan on downloading this when I get home from work tonight, so I'll prob post some results later.

I think it's "dumb" to require a constant connection for a single player game. And no ISP has 100% up time so you don't have a "constant" internet connection either (even if you think you do).
The game itself is good, but I rented it on the Xbox 360.

No user is playing 100% of the time either. Yes it is a dumb DRM thing that has plenty of set backs and hopefully Ubi changes it, but it really isn't as detrimental as some make it out to be.

In the end it's a very good way to deter pirating of their games.
