Hidden options for Stereoscopic-functions? The "wishlist"
I'm watching this Stereo-drivers now a long time. I had a Geforce 3 Ti500 with Shutter-Glasses(Forceware must have been something around 5x.xx). Then 4 years with the competitor there was no real 3D.
Since last year I'm back with NVIDIA in my gaming-notebook and found the stereo-drivers again (v181.20 was the first I tried ). With some Registry-hacking I got the Anaglyph-Red/Cyan-mode working.

With the time I followed the updates and reached now v186.18. But I'm still missing a lot of options in the NVIDIA-Control-Panel. The options are still in the registry and they are working when changed manually.

This would be my wish to have these settings in the NVIDIA-Control-Panel:

StereoAnaglyphType
"StereoAnaglyphType"=dword:00000000 Full-Color-Anaglyph-mode
"StereoAnaglyphType"=dword:00000001 3D-Vision-Discover Half-color-mode with color-correction-shader
"StereoAnaglyphType"=dword:00000002 Black/White-Anaglyph-Mode

MonitorSize
"MonitorSize"=dword:00000026 This has been available in the older Forcewares

AnaglyphFilterColors
"LeftAnaglyphFilter"=dword:ffff0000
"RightAnaglyphFilter"=dword:ff00ffff
A more simple setting like Red/Cyan, Yellow/Blue, Green/Magenta would be enough for this i think.

StereoGamma
"StereoGamma"=dword:3f800000
The Gamma setting would be nice cause with activated Anaglyph mode the picture is getting darker, especially with the 3D-Discover-Color-Correction-Shader. And I have tested the Geforce-3D-Vision in a shop and it was getting darker with the shutters too. So I guess this would be really useful not only for anaglyph.

SnapShotQuality
"SnapShotQuality"=dword:00000063
Cause Snapshot quality with 50% is really poor.

HotKeys - A lot stuff missing, I hope I got them all:
"DeleteConfig"=dword:00000476
"ToggleAutoConvergence"=dword:00000277
"ToggleAutoConvergenceRestore"=dword:00000477
"RHWAtScreenLess"=dword:00000278
"RHWAtScreenMore"=dword:00000279
"RHWLessAtScreenLess"=dword:00000478
"RHWLessAtScreenMore"=dword:00000479
"StereoSuggestSettings"=dword:00000271
"StereoUnsuggestSettings"=dword:00000471
"SaveStereoImage"=dword:00000470
"GammaAdjustMore"=dword:00000247
"GammaAdjustLess"=dword:00000447

And now after this big wish i have a small problem. Didn't want to make a new topic for this:

Making 3D-snapshots in DX9 games is working fine. But trying to make 3D-snapshots in DX10 games results with a crash to desktop. I tried Crysis, 3D-Mark-Vantage, Anno1404 (all DX10 games) with WinVista32Bit.
Forceware is v186.18(with modded inf cause v186.03 Notebook was not working with the newest 186.18 Stereo-driver).
Maybe I try this later on Win7RC64Bit too.

While we are at it, how about updating the Nvidia Test Logo which is what, like 20 years old? How about holding a contest Nvidia? Coolest Test Screen Design, Win an 3Dvision Kit!

I mean, its just a bit boring, you could do so much better!

Hmm, is there no statement from NVIDIA?
It's a bit strange cause the older stereoscopic releases under WinXP had all these settings in the old control-panel.

By the way:
My opinion is, that the 3D-Discover-Color-Correction-Shader makes the picture a bit too much green. Maybe you should tweak this a bit more.

There is a good tutorial on the web for making anaglyph-photos. And there is a method by Masuji Suto(author of StereoPhotoMaker (SPM)). He uses channel-mixing for good results.
The author finds these channel settings are often good for ghost reduction without messing up the colour too much:
Red Left red 800 Left green 200 Left blue 200
Green Right red 200 Right green 800 Right blue 0
Blue Right red 100 Right green 0 Right blue 900

Note that the red channel adds up to more than 1000. This is on purpose because the red filter is slightly dark in Proview and darker still in Anachrome, so that 1200 for red reduces retinal rivalry by making left and right images look about the same brightness. Note that red is introduced into the right eye luminosity to make red/cyan luminosity balance better, which is the secret of "ghost busting." Red introduction does not change the right eye image to red, it just adds red luminosity to the cyan mix.
I made my own experiences with channel-mixing and found this settings better:
Red Left red 800 Left green 150 Left blue 200
Green Right red 200 Right green 800 Right blue 0
Blue Right red 150 Right green 0 Right blue 850

Here is an example(edited JPS with a picture-editor):

Tried this now under Win7 RC 64Bit. It's the same behavior.

Is there no chance to make 3D-screenshots from DX10 Applications?

What hexadecimal codes should i use in the registry to make the 3D vision display in these colours?

The image you posted seems to have no ghosting, well, a lot better compared to what i have now! :P

Thanks
