Is this fix broken now with newer drivers. Just installed to play DLC but appears to be a mess, there is a halo like effect around everything and cross hair is not at depth. I don't really want to swap drivers if I don't have to, so was just wondering if anyone else has played it recently and it worked? Its a bit worrying that newer driver break the fixes like this, with newer cards it might not be possible to go back to some drivers.

No, it's working just fine. I just ran this game in the last couple of days, and the fix was working great.
In fact, check this picture out:

What is significant here is that this is my system still using SLI. Think about that for a sec. :->

I noticed this too! I played a bit about 2 weeks ago, from the beginning and saw that all the reflections were working. Unfortunately I also noticed for the first time much more clipping of lights which I don't remember from before.
Is gta 5 3d working good enough for play? That flickering was giving me a headache.
Not yet. Unless you set Grass to Normal which eliminates flickering.
Bo3b, how did you manage that GTA shot? Older driver?
This is a newer driver that is unreleased. I received the driver for testing purposes under NDA. They said it was OK to spill the beans that this one-eye bug in SLI is fixed in an upcoming driver.
The only caveat is that we don't know when it will drop, and they didn't even know because driver branches and release schedules and all those moving pieces is not clear. So no promises in terms of time-frame, but figured it was worth sharing that it's fixed and will arrive some day.
I know for sure it fixes the bug in 4 different games, if you can offer other SLI one-eye problems I may have overlooked, I can take a look.
Games fixed:
1) GTA5- Grass can now be used at any setting.
2) Alien: Isolation- Ultra particles now draws correctly.
3) Dying Light- Reflections from puddles now both eyes.
4) Bioshock Infinite- Water reflections in temple fixed. (Earliest one, Aug 2013)
I tried it on SR3/4, but that bug is the opposite, works in SLI, fails in single-card.

Sorry guys you are right the 3D Is fine. I was getting compatibility mode mixed up with proper 3d. I have just got a projector and probably sitting too close so didn't feel actual 3d was very strong so assumed it was cm. stupid I know, but am still getting used to using the projector in 3d and trying to find a sweet spot. I have the screen set to 90" and sit just over 8ft away. Bio shock infinite for some reason doesn't give me a strong effect unless I crank convergence up to the point the game isn't playable. I also tried Middle Earth out where I find 3d more noticeable. Very happy with the projector though, it's no where near as I unfeasible as I thought it might be!

That's some excellent news bo3b, thanks for sharing!
Did Ryse/FC4 have some one-eye problems? I remember reading something, but not looking into it. I think it might have been similar to SR3/4 though.
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Great! Glad to hear it's working for you too. You might try the depth hack suggested by some other people if you find 100% is not enough. That tends to be more true for projectors, because of the math involved, and sitting at 8 feet will probably make it a bit worse. If you sit further back it should have more feeling of depth. Experiment with it, and you should find a sweet spot.
Sorry I hijacked your thread- just seemed pertinent. :->
That is awesome Bo3b!
I don't suppose you took note of performance?
I did measure the GTA5 performance, and compared to my earlier results, and it's the same performance-wise: not better not worse.

sorry to bump this thread but I tried to play Bioshock infinite with latest driver (359.00). I reappled the patch, SSAO to normal, made sure compatibility mode was not active.
There are a lot of broken shaders now (I played throughout the game with the fix last year and everything was fine). I don't know if it's due to nvidia driver or bioshock infinite updates that were applied since then (there's been an update applied first time i launched the game in steam - did not play for ages). I reapplied the patch to make sure the game update did not delete it...can somebody pls confirm?
_EDIT_ Don't worry...probably a driver issue! I had issues with other helix patched games like ac iv black flag...(maybe the driver prevent the override?)...Back to previous driver which is about 2y old! I know there's a thread about driver history and issues for each release but since it's not been uupdated for some time i wanted to know if anybody was particularly keen on specific driver version that gives good 3d vision support for recent releases (just bought gta v) without introducing issues on old games ?
thanks again to all for your great support (DHR, bob3b....)!!
