This week I got an Acer H5360 projector and have been having a lot of fun with 3D Vision.
I'd really like to play Quake (I know)... There is a DirectX version that was ported a while ago:
D3DQuake
On my GTX280 Windows7 64 system it works - shocking!
Setting it to run in 1280x720 it does trigger the 3D Vision - but despite the glasses being active there is no stereo on the display.
Togging 3D on/off clearly enables/disables the glasses - but changing the depth and convergence via the hotkeys has no effect on the image.
Is there any hope? Or is there an alternate version of Quake that people have gotten to work with 3D Vision?

Wasn't dX9 required for 3D vision? Maybe I am wrong....

Would love to give quake a blast in 3D. Let us know how you get on.

allows you to play some old opengl games in d3d. just copy the opengl32.dll file to the games folder and it works. I've tested it on quake 2, quake 3, and even Doomsday the opengl version of DOOM, Heretic and Hexen!
Will not work on doom3 engine games already tried. And I havn't tried quake 1 yet.

GL Direct doesn't work for me in vista 64 - I get the error "unable to connect to pmhelp.sys or sddhelp.sys". Sucks, this would have been AMAZING
Edit - compatibility mode for windows 98 saves the day! Just testin now...

Does anyone know if it's possible to play AMNESIA: THE DARK DESCENT in DX9? I want to play the game running it in DX9 because its OpenGL, but I've installed GLDirect, left the settings default and ran the game with iZ3D on but nothing, no 3D. So obviously it's not in DX9, so what do I do to get that game running with DX9, anybody know? Thanks.
