LG 47LW4500 Problems Bad Resolutions (3D and not 3D)
Hi!, first sorry for my english..
I have a problem witch the LG 47LW4500 47" Passive 3D Monitor (Cinema 3D), im try to configure my monitor to use 3D, I can´t set a maximun resolution, only 1280x720@60, and in "normal mode" cant set a default resolution in PC mode (using HDMI) because is not showed in Nvidia control panel.. I cant to put 1920x1080p @60Mhz but the image quality (in windows) is bad compared to 1920x1080 using the VGA input of the TV.
And when i try to set 3D video to 1920x1080 at 60Mhz I see a message in the Screen (see attached files).
- I Use a 1.4 3D Ready HDMI -> HDMI cable witch the HDMI to DVI, and HDMI to Mini HDMI adaptor provided by the graphic cards.
- Testing disable SLI and try change to card One/two using HDM->DVI and HDMI->MiniDVI, and noting..
Hardware:
- MEM: 16Gb DDR3 1600Mhz
- CPU: Ci7 2600K @ 4600Mhz
- SLI: GTX 470 Zotac & GTX 470 ASUS
- Nvidia Driver 275.33
- 3D Vision 275.33
- Last Nvidia 3DTV Play
I attach some files to show resolutions i can set, and message appear to me when i try to run FUllHD 3D.
Questions.. ¿The 470 GTX is not 1.4 3D compatible? ¿Its the LG 47LW4500 Monitor not compatible witch the actual Nvidia Drivers? ¿Other things?

One question for you, Does your 47" home cinema 3d LG work in 3D with that 1280x... resolution? Did you try it with PC games?
Una pregunta ?Puedes hacer que del PC salga señal en 3D aunque sea a esa resolución? Se ve bien? Me aconsejas que me la compre?
I had the same problem. I bought an "active" expensive 3D Led tv from Mediamarkt in Madrid to use with my nvidia gtx480 and I couldnt make it work with more resolution than 1280x... I tried everything and had to return the TV back. I read in the instructions pdf nvidia gives you when you download the software and they say it, 1280x is the maximunm. I dont know if now with the new drivers you could get more than that.

I can´T put the resolutión to 1920x1080@60Mhz using the PC mode (using HDMI input) i need to use HD mode to use 1080p, but the queality its not the best. If you install a HDMI 1.4 cable, you can activate 2 resolutions: 1280x720@60Mhz and 1920x1080@24Mhz, but need to install the software Nvidia 3DTV Play (its not free) to enable this resolutions in your screen.
The quality of 3D in 1920x1080@24Mhz witch this TV is awesome, but at 24Mhz play games its f****** s***.
Other thing its a input lag in HDMI, if you use a VGA input, you get 0 input lag, and quality of image in Windows is awesome (to this enormous screen), and you can set the PC resolution to 1920x1080@60Mhz (NO 3D Posible in VGA mode to me), but in HDMI the quality its not the same, and have ~0.4s input lag (if you move mouse, you note it), but i dont know if is a problem of the drivers or the TV...

Hi,
Can you test a 3d interleaved/interlaced or checkerboard game and see if you have color ghosting, you would need to use iz3d or tridef to output these modes?
Colorbug is only with interleaved and cb over hdmi.
I'm trying to find out if everybody that has a lg hdmi 1.4 set has color ghosting.
Fyi tridef and iz3d look much better than 3dtvplay.
