Hello,
Did anyone manage to try this game with 3D Vision? I know the original one (Shadow of Mordor) was a bit of a pain to fix.
Curious if anyone is looking at this game currently:)

I was thinking about picking this up but it reportedly uses up around 100GB wtf? My connection is fast enough to download it in no time, but I don't have the space for it on either of my SSDs. I'd have to delete a bunch of games that I've barely had time to play. It also seems to be pretty similar to the first game which i found really repetitive.
Hello,

I noticed that you got it, so I guess you'll let us know ;)

Yeah I was thinking about picking this up but I never even finished the first one. aaaaand I am not sure if i will have a job this time next month.
The Loot box fiasco is kinda putting me off it as well. Apparently the game requires an endless loot box grind or pay money for them to unlock the games true ending. I really don't want to support this sort of practice . (as with Battlefront 2) because before you know it every AAA game will have these pay to win loot box schemes

Yeah, the game is pretty busted, more or less like the original if I remember right;)
I played a bit yesterday and I can say is like the original, but bigger in scope.
Even the loot is like the original: Kill "Orcses" Captains to get loot. By the time I got to level 10, I had all my equipment epic and also found a legendary.
The grind feels "less" than in Shadow of Mordor IMO. I didn't get to the end of the game though. I don't really understand all that hate. Sure, last boss is level 120. You will be level 50 or something (Finished 1st map - not going to spoil the name - and I am level 11 already.). Equip some nice XP boost gems and you can get the difference XP in no time.
The whole game is clearly not made as a linear narrative story, but an open-world one. Hence, go kill "orcses" :)
So far, I am really impressed with the game;)

Well.. for some reason the game doesn't even load the 3DMigoto Wrapper.
It ignores the d3d11.dll.
If I rename it to dxgi, it tries to load it but complains about not supporting DX11.1.
No logs are generated.
I think the game loads the d3d11.dll directly from the system32 folder. :(

Oh, that's bad. Maybe it's the same problem PCSX2 has. I hope this helps to give the issue (https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/issues/41) more urgency and that hopefully both PCSX2 and Shadow of War can be fixed.
Can someone try 3Dmigoto with Shadow of War in Windows 7? Or maybe you are already using Windows 7, Helifax... Then the PCSX2 issue could be different.

I'm sure the core game itself it great.
I think people including myself really hate the idea of loot box gambling being sold for real money in a game you have already paid $105 dollars for. Hell in NZ here the gold edition is $165, and the fact to achieve the correct ending you are basically forced to get them unless you want to grind for hours upon hours at the end.
If the game does well and is a success which I sure it will look for this practice to just get worse and worse until it saturates every AAA game. (look to the upcoming Battlefront 2, where it's already just obnoxious and pay to win).
I'm voting with my wallet because it the only language they understand, if they are given an inch they will take everything...
That said, good luck with the 3d support guys.

Apparently it's a D3D11 engine, but it's using Direct3D 12.1 feature level. That's probably why?

Btw, on the size topic. The "demo" version its arround 40gb without hd textures and 4k cutscenes.
BTW, that is just some Youtuber wanting to have clicks!
You can finish act 4 with NORMAL orcs and almost zero grind;) By then you will have plenty of mirian to buy the normal boxes from the market which give you epic and a chance of Legendary captains;) But not required.
Act4 is actually fun and where the true Nemesis system is shown;)

BTW, that is just some Youtuber wanting to have clicks!
You can finish act 4 with NORMAL orcs and almost zero grind;) By then you will have plenty of mirian to buy the normal boxes from the market which give you epic and a chance of Legendary captains;) But not required.
Act4 is actually fun and where the true Nemesis system is shown;)
