dlp link glasses losing sync...
benq w1070 sainsonic glasses have benq w1070 firmware version 1.06, 1.08 is the latest but i've had trouble installing it as windows is not automatically recognizing/installing drivers for the w1070, which seems to be necessary to apply the firmware update, which may or may not even solve the sync problem, which varies per game, adjusting brightness/color/contrast levels don't seems to effect this, is the problem most likely the quality of the particular glasses and nothing else?

Probably the glasses. Mine tend to lose sync when I look at my phone, or if the battery is low. I'm using Optoma ZD302 glasses.

It's most likely the glasses, my favorite pair actually are SainSonic($20) but I still have issues with very bright games/flashes making them lose sync here and there ... I've also had other SainSonic, as well as other brands, that just don't sync well or at all for whatever reason ... I've returned quite a few pairs because of it. For games that it happens in I usually end up using my TrueDepth3D($65) glasses. That said, it doesn't mean they'll work flawlessly for your setup either though ... it can take a bit of trial and error to find really good ones. I've had highly recommended glasses(XPand) lose sync all the time.
