Anaglyph 3D (Recording & Screen Shots) Looking for a way to do this.
I am wondering how to record my game footage in Anaglyph 3D. Both video and screen shots. I have search the Internet and a few forums on this and have yet to find a way that seems to work other than using a camcorder or camera to record the screen.

What I want to use is Fraps. Yet I feel that Fraps does not allow for this completely. At least for the nvidia drivers.

I read that you can use Fraps with the iZ3D drivers. Yet I can not get those drivers to work for me for some reason. At least I can not even get them to display Anaglyph 3D. From what I read on them, I thought that those drivers could be used with any monitor for Anaglyph 3D, but I may be wrong. Maybe they are only for 3D displays, unlike the nvidia drivers which can be used with any monitor for Anaglyph 3D.

Anyways...
Does anyone have any idea or tips on how to record footage or take screen shots in Anaglyph 3D other than using a camcorder or camera?

Edit Update: I found the option for taking a screen shot with the "Alt+F1". It seems to take the screen shot is n both Anaglyph and Stereoscopic. Yet the quality does not seem the same as when I am actually playing the game. I am going to look into the viewer a little more to see if I can improve it a bit through the settings. I am just not getting the same depth as when I am playing the game.

I still would like to know a way to take video footage in Anaglyph 3D.

Yeah, I am trying to figure out how to record the full-quality stereo 3D but it seems like that is very hard if not impossible at this point (without a hardware video capture device). For anaglyph I am pretty sure that was possible with the iz3d driver and I believe also on the Nvidia driver at some point in the past. You can at least take stereo screenshots with ALT-F1 and that is full-quality. I had tried Fraps, Debut video capture, and Jing but none of them seemed to work (at least in interlaced mode). I could maybe do some more testing tomorrow if I have some time. Also, if you have the iz3d drivers installed make sure you disable the Nvidia stereo 3d or it won't work. The iz3d driver will work for any display in anaglyph mode so thats not the problem.

Hi
For screenshots, you can just use the nvidia JPS screenshot feature and then convert the JPS shot into anaglyph.
You can do that either manually using a photo editor (I made a few like that with photoshop)
Or you can use some tools like stereophoto maker.

For video it's more complicated.
The iz3d driver used to work with fraps until driver version v1.07 (which is old). I used it to record a UT3 video in anaglyph.
After that, FRAPS stopped working with the iz3d driver and never worked again.
Some people managed to make other frame grabbers work but results were inconsistent, it seems you have to be lucky and maybe one of the various video recording software will work but it's not guaranteed.

Neil Schneider (CEO MTBS3D / Chairman of S3D Gaming alliance) managed make the DDD-ignition driver work with fraps, he showed it with a Fallout3 video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9ARb9duHks I have not tested the ignition driver yet so i don't know if it also works for me.

For my part i recorded these : http://www.youtube.com/user/BlackSharkfr
I used the iz3D driver and an external hardware recorder (a simple composite TV capture card). It works well but it's very poor resolution and blurry.
I intend to get myself some pproper HD recording hardware soon, when i'll also buy a new PC to render the 3DHD images at decent framerates.
