Bioshock 2 graphical corruption of TERROR!
I went to go play some Bioshock 2 in 3d and it was surprisingly decent. The 3d crosshair actually works now, and the fog didn't seem like a problem either.

In fact, the only issue I had was having to disable the shadows... and then of course there was the............ HUGE CRAPPING GIANT GRAPHICAL CORRUPTION OF TERROR!~!!!!

So basically, the polygons are tearing and stretching across the screen in incredible and horrifying number and frequency.

What the hell is going on?

Has anyone else had this issue?

Is there a fix for this issue?

I was hoping I could finally play through Bioshock 2, but so far no good. I would also like to mention that all other games are perfectly fine.

Yup, I get it. Have always had it just a little bit. But it came to my attention in big way just recently as I was playing it. Just as you said, full screen jagged shapes, tearing, all happening in a blink of an eye... then it might go away through another part of the game only to return later.

I resigned myself to playing it in 2d. And even in standard 2d I get areas where there is corruption and tearing. It seems to have gotten worse throughout my play thru as well.

I can balance the mouse on one 'little blip left or right" and replicate full screen crazy sh*t back and forth.

My performance in 3d on the single gtx295 is not flash either, which i thought is strange seeing as i can run just cause 2 or metro okay.

I thought the glitching was fixed in the first patch. However I think it was just improved. More over, I just bought borderlands, not realising it was a 2k game.... lol, they got me again.

So, I would say that Bioshock 2, other than the issues with sli and shadows, is about on par with Dark Void as far as being 3d ready goes. I am reasonably pleased with the improvements.
