Here is hoping for Unicorns and Raindows ^_^
Same here, it seems Nixxes is like the last developer that cares about 3D, I bet that some of the devs there enjoy playing their own games in 3D.

That SBS is faster because it renders a half resolution frame per eye, right? Less wasted resources compared to 3Dmigoto SBS.

Possible?

The game officially supports SLI .. also, it supports HDR for those of you who have the hardware. The drawback is SBS which will cut the resolution by half. 1:30 hour for early access ;)

Unfortunately, even non-3D gaming is crashing at launch, and Square Enix tech support link is not working... Under DX12, 3D appears to have two modes: SBS and ON (I am trying to use ON mode, otherwise I lose 1/2 resolution with passive 3D display and SBS mode). Any other early access buyer successful yet? I am using 399.24 driver version, by the way.

The game tries to display 3D but screen flashes and fails to display 3D correctly (have to hard reboot the game to go back in 2D). Latest drivers installed of course. Sounds like 3D support will be added in a future patch...

Yes, 3D mode doesn't work with 3D vision. IR emitter always turns on and off. Per chance I got 3D enabled but then everything was grey, no colors and lighting, hairs were 2D. The green 3D vision info text says "unknown game".... Latest driver (399.24), Win 7 64bit, GTX 960, DX 11. At least I manged to get CM working: profile for Assassin's Creed Unity, in game settings stereo disabled, exclusive(!) fullscreen enabeld. Offers quite good CM 3D with the usual issues.

For those not getting 3D to work, try disabling fullscreen optimizations in the game exe. That's a problem in Rise of the Tomb Raider.
disabling fullscreen optimizations in the game exe
Are You refering to this? I have also tried to use the profile for Rise of the Tomb Raider (as ROTTR has made changes to the profile when the patch for 3D support was released) and the actual driver even doesn't recognize the game ("unknown"...). But the issues are the same. There is a profile for SOTTR in the actual driver but it doesn't seem to support 3D vision. Maybe Nvidia only cares about ray tracing to sell their new graphic cards? BTW even in side-by-side mode there are no colors and lighting any more. Completely broken :(

Is there an option to enable Stereoscopic 3D in the launcher (like in the previous 2 games) when 3D Vision is enabled in NV Panel? If so, the support is there, just the profile is wrong, which could be worked out by someone who knows about profiles ;)
