Well, speaking for myself, I do appreciate the thought. But, I really think that Helix got this exactly right early on. Just to be clear, I'm not willing to accept any payment. And I think that Mike made it clear in an earlier thread that he will not either. For me, the way you should think about this work is like building a house for Habitat for Humanity. It's for the feeling of doing something worthwhile, and the fun of sharing. It's super rewarding to be able to share my skills this way, and I could not be more stoked that we've gotten so far. Now, if you really want to reward us, what you can do is to pick up the tools and learn to do fixes too. I'm always happy when people use the tools and put in some effort to learn how to fix stuff. Even simple fixes like removing effects, fixing a skybox, or moving the HUD are valuable, and gives us all more to play, more fun for everyone. Also, we simply cannot do all the games people are interested in, we need more people. The reason I started trying to learn this stuff was because Helix made his tool available for everyone, and I wanted to be able to repay him in some small way for making such an epic tool. It's clear that he likes to have people fix stuff too- otherwise he would not have made the debug version and document how to use it. I'm not going to lie and say it's easy, it's not, but I only started looking at it in depth right about one year ago, and I knew absolutely nothing about shaders and 3D when I started. Using eqzitara's and Helix's examples, I could do simple fixes in about a month. The principles are the same for both DX9 and DX11. If you'd like to reward us, help us all fix games. Put in the effort, learn new stuff. Doing hard things is incredibly rewarding. We will be more than happy to help anyone that wants to put in the effort.

(sorry for my "poor" English,i'm french ;)) I understand you Bo3b and i respect the way you think, but i have already so litte time to play... When you are fixing TESO you are not playing TESO. It costs you money. It's not a paiement, it's a gift, a compensation. That is how i can help you. Maybe you could create a "3DVision paypal account" in order to ease the task ?

To bo3b, Mike_ar69, eqzitara, etc, I've been curious what kind of background/skills you had before getting involved with 3D fixes. I would have assumed that you were all professional programmers in the first place, who learned to apply your skills to 3D games. On the other hand, what I've read of bo3b's guide here (http://helixmod.blogspot.jp/2014/01/learning-how-to-fix-games.html#comment-form) seems fairly accessible, just a lot to digest. Personally I'd like to eventually "pay it forward" with learning to do simple fixes, even if it's just disabling broken shaders. That looks fairly simple using the Helix debugger. Just taking baby steps though.

That would be an awesome idea, maybe eventually you could own that TITAN with those contributions, a reward for your hard work, and you could finally take an evening to play that AC4 in 3D full graphics

Hey Bo3b, Mike. If you won't accept money, I'd like to offer you both a place on my Steam family sharing list. That way you'd get access to most of my Steam library, whenever I'm not in-game.
