I'am afraid nobody can help us. The only way 4 us is to make it ourselves. Its not so hard, but i still got no time to visit Moscow for special connector (i live in 40 minutes far from Moscow). It called mdn-3m or 3-pin miniDIN. 2.5 jack more easy to find in special stores. Schema of conection you can find in topic. Just find some specialist in elecronics and cables in your area, maybe he'll help you. I hope i'll bye nessesary connectors in the end of january or in february. Then i'll post photos of making cable by steps.

Hi together,
can anyone that has the original nvidia adapter cable post here the pin-configuration
for both 2,5mm jack and male VESA connector. Unfortunately there are several possibilities
documented in several forums and nobody can really confirm the right config. This
would be very helpfull. Here in Germany getting the hardware for DIY solution is cheap
and simple, but of course I have to know the nvidia config first. This would help a lot!
Thanx in advance!
*sigh* So disappointing how little "help" the "help" gives. The least Support could've done was provide the part#: PNY QSP-3DV-KIT
Just google it. There are a few places that sell this, however none in the US.
So for those of us in the U.S. who bought a Monitor/3D Kit combo with the idea of connecting it to a DLP HDTV we already own, we must scour the internet to try to find specs to get a custom cable built -- all because the manufacturer of the monitor bought the European kit then resold it in the U.S. (Thanks, Asus!)
I posted on another thread, but in short NVidia got out of the cable business.
Now, as for specs of the cable, Tech Support couldn't even tell me that.
So far I have:
* 2.5mm male to 2.5mm male
* TRS Connector? (Tip-Ring-Shaft)
I'm about to buy a few different ones to see which one would work -- Unless some kind soul that already knows wants to share. (creating a forum acct is quick and free)

I've bought today a kit of ASUS VG236H monitor with 3D Vision, but also didn't recieve the sync cable, nor DVI->HDMI cable. Is it possible to have it sent? Or the kits don't include the cables? Thank you

You got the European 3D Vision Kit too.
You can get a 2.5mm -> 2.5mm TRP "Tip/Ring/Plug" Stereo cable from Radio Shack (or your favorite online electronic retailer)
[/quote]
can you link it please? I can make the cable myself, but don't really know which parts to get. I usually buy microelectronics at gme.cz A direct link from radio shack would be greatly appreciated.
Also, nVidia could be quite kind and if they don't want to send out missing cables, they could lift the proprietariness and provide a nice paper with pin layout. Thank youuu

The VESA cable is only for use with DLP HDTVs or using a 3D Vision Monitor with Quadro GPUs.
I wanted to try to respond to this thread and hopefully try to address as many concers as I can.
First off, the VESA cable is only needed if you are 1) using a DLP HDTV or 2) using a Quadro GPU with a 3D Vision monitor. If you are using a 3D Vision monitor with a GeForce GPU, you do not need this cable.
Second, we are going to add this cable to the NVIDIA.com store. Hoever our store only can ship to some regions, not all. This will not help all international users.
Third, the VESA kit was previously only included in the USA retail SKU. It was never avaiable in 3D Vision glasses bundles with notebooks or monitors. Please make sure you check the packaging since we do list all kit components. We also list the kit components here: http://nvidia.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/nvidia.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2617
Finally, we are in process of updating the kit contents for future 3D Vision kits. We will include the VESA cable inside all of our retail SKUs in all regions. We will NOT include it with monitor or notebook bundles.
I hope that helps clarify this situation for everyone.

Thanks for clearing that up Andrew, but unfortunately the damage was done. I had purchased the 3D Vision Kit the other day to hook my PC up to my 73" DLP TV. Frankly I was blown away; it looked awesome. Unfortunately though I don't live alone and other people use the TV, so I decided to go ahead and return the Kit, and purchase the Asus 23" 120hz monitor bundled w/Nvidia 3D Vision Kit so that when the TV was in use, I'd be able to 3D game on the monitor in my room.
You can imagine my dismay when I opened up the package (not 30 minutes ago) and realized that the VESA 3-pin connector necessary to get 3D on my DLP TV was missing from this so called "kit." There is no distinction in the packaging between the gimped kit and the actual kit until you actually open the monitor box. All that it says in all descriptions of these monitors is "<Name of Monitor> w/3D Vision Kit." I think it's a safe assumption on my part - especially after owning the 3D Vision Kit - that the Kit that comes with the monitor would be the same and come packaged with the same contents. Whether Nvidia is at fault here or Asus, I'm not sure. But now I'm facing the possibility of needing to pay a restocking fee in order to return this product. It should be as simple as purchasing this cable from somewhere but I have scoured the internet and can't find the cable, not even from Nvidia's site (but apparently you said you are adding it to the store, which is a step in the right direction).
Andrew I appreciate your update and information, but is there any ETA at all as to when this cable will be able to be purchased from the Nvidia store? Or can I contact support and have one sent to me? This situation I'm in is very frustrating to say the least. I'd appreciate any help at all.

I think it's a safe assumption on my part - especially after owning the 3D Vision Kit - that the Kit that comes with the monitor would be the same and come packaged with the same contents.
