3d effect switches instantaneously during gameplay swapping back and forth?
I am experiencing some strange behavior during gameplay in stereo.

This is not a freeze or a hang.

I will be playing a game in stereo with no problem. Suddenly, the stereo effect is
altered, where I have "double-vision" type effect. Sometimes within a couple seconds it will switch back to normal, but usually I have to disable and enable stereo a couple of times before it gets back to good viewing.

I don't think it is suddenly that I'm losing the 3d perception, I think it is a change in the way the images are being displayed. Has anyone ever experienced this, and any ideas how to fix it?

Core2Duo 6400
Nvidia 7600 GT
1 Gig Corsair Ram
93.71 drivers

Thanks.

I get that occasionally. Don't know why. I usually reboot my computer and that solves the problem.

I don't have that problem myself but a friend of mine has. He has tracked down the problem to be related to ED-Activator. If he uses ED-Activator he gets less flicker and glitches, but also, sometimes left and right images gets reversed and won't get corrected until 3d has been turned on and off a couple of times.

If he does not use ED-Activator there has never been any problems though.

Thanks for the replies. I have confirmed that it is definitely the L-R reversal causing the problem. I'll watch out more for the ED-activator as being the source. When it happened again today, I hadn't invoked the 3D activator.
