So do you think I might more happy with passive like UF8500? So do you think I get better graphics with passive 1080p(1920x540) than with active 720p? Only thing what holds me back is input lag what that LG model have and seems like this year LG 3D models are too expensive for me, because seems like they now only put that on their high end OLED TV-s only. Philips have a lot problems I read Philips forum and people are not happy with these TV-s. I plan to use Tridef too but seems like Tridef future isn't very bright. I want to use TV for all things desktop, 2D gaming, 3D gaming so it must be good TV for all things.

Chtiblue, do you know differences between Philips PUK7100 and PUS7100? How bright is your TV on max brightness(I hope to use it like that then it's flicker free and seems like these LG IPS don't go very bright)? Where did you found information about input lag and was that 1080p resolution input lag? Does your TV do 4:4:4 2160p 60hz and do you only use it for gaming or you use it as desktop monitor too? Sorry if I ask too much but I want to buy good thing and there isn't much info about these Philips TV, most I found was about android software and people wasn't happy with it, because it's seems to be very buggy. Seems like if I want passive UHD screen size 40-43'' then my only choices are 43PUK7100 and 43PUS7100.

Diff between PUS and PUK is about different tuner TV from what I see, you don't have the DVB-T2 on the PUK serie. Brightness is largely enough, I'm at 50% . Sorry I can't find input lag source, perhaps I dreamed it ;) I only found 65ms today. yes 4:4:4 2160p 60hz, you need HDMI 2160p 60hz cable. It's my only pc monitor now on my for gaming and desktop. you need to install the last firmware on Philips, (15 December 2015) Android Tv seems working well, but I don't use it as a tv, only pc monitor.

I don't plan either to use it as TV so I don't care much about that buggy software like you. Right now I only care about input lag. Does ambilight works with PC games too? How much IPS glow you get and does it bother you when gaming at night or dark room? What monitor did you use before that TV and you don't feel your new TV input lag? What do you think about motion blur isn't it very blurry when gaming?

You should start your own thread, "1001 questions" by ramps. Instead of thread jumping back and forth constantly. Have you even bothered to go out in real life to see any of these for yourself, at a brick and mortar store near you? So that you could make some valid personal observations?

All of these questions needs to connect with computer and you can't connect your computer with TV in shop and anyway this thread isn't necessary anymore because we all know now how to use 3D Vision UHD 3D Passive with TV so I don't think my questions do harm to this thread. Because there isn't anything more to learn about using 3D UHD passive and they can read this from older posts how to setup 3D UHD Passive with 3D vision.

It stills IPS but as I always play in dark room, Ambilight helps... I don't have motion blur. I don't really feel the input lag. From where are you? Are you sure you don't have 14 days for retracting if the input lag bother you?
how to setup 3D UHD Passive with 3D vision.
They are not setting it up with 3D Vision. They are accessing NVidia's Stereoscopic Drivers via Optomized for Nvidia GeForce, I've told you this before. Optomized for NVidia GeForce only offers an interlaced signal providing an Interleaved format.

I don't like messing with returning but yeah I think 14 days if you buy it online and anyway I can't test 60hz 2160p because I use GTX480 and I plan to buy new GPU when new generation nvidia come to shop because right now cards are very old over year old and its not good to buy them right now because some monts more and we see new gpus. Maybe we can then get new cards with gtx970 price but same or better perfomance than right now gtx titan x have because nvidia saids they make new fast memory cards now and new cards are very fast. So maybe even gtx1060 is faster than 980ti right now but with only 220-250€

I tried this app http://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=1134 Yeah 50ms+ is too much for me and I feel it much :(. This is good app for anyone who want to know how these big input lag TV-s feels like before buying them.

You could always wait for the next generation... Just buy it when you need it instead! I think you're dreaming with a gtx1060>980TI for 250€ in a few months... Gtx 970 are on same price since one year and half...

gtx1060 have similar price to gtx960 and that's about 200€ right now and so gtx1070 costs about 330€ like gtx970 right now. 3D is pointless on so small screen like 27'' and UHD Samsungs have very good input lag but they have active 3d and you guys said that's bad.

At 90cm, 3dvision is far from pointless with 27" screen. Are you ever tried it? I think more gtx1060=gtx970TI at big max but this is just speculation and you can continue to speculate alone during thoses months, I will enjoy my 4k 3D games during this time ;) Your app inputlag-AB is just a AB test so of course I feel a 50ms delay when I compare (even with 25ms I had 24 out 25...) but it's not the same when you have nothing to compare, you don't feel it like that!
