Hi, unfortunately the newer Samsung 3D desktop displays are no longer 3D Vision compatible. There are some unofficial EDID hacks that may give you limited functionality, but they are fragile and completely unsupported by Nvidia. Your older Samsung model, probably the 2233RZ was when Samsung and Nvidia were still collaborating on 3D Vision. At some point, Samsung decided to go their own way and the split with Nvidia has not been amicable. The end result is that neither 3D ecosystem supports the other officially. My advice would be to try and return the screen and exchange it for a similar Nvidia 3D Vision supported panel, or continue on with the current display knowing it does not support 3D Vision officially.

A good place to read about that monitor from owners that have posted, is over at the 3D Vision Blog forums.

Like chiz1 stated, it's much easier just to use a supported monitor. I love my S23A700D, after 20 years of buying Nvidia GPUs only, I bought an AMD radeon GPU that just plain works with my S23A700D. Best of all, I can also do 1280x800 and 1366x768 at 120Hz on my HDMI 1.3 projector in 120Hz frame sequential with no issues using TriDef. Put my VP3D1 in the chain, and I'm doing 1920x1080 @30 per eyes, not 24 as with Nvidia. I still use my 3D Vision setup with an Acer monitor, but find myself not using it for the games I'm currently playing.

I have tried Tridef but couldn't get it to work, do you think it is because i have a nvidia GPU?
