project 64 + final Glide ... how to make it 3dize? ... Helifax.. are you interested in?
  1 / 2
Hi. I know there are an old post about this, but it´s so old and helpless. This week i retake the Project 64 emu of nintendo roms. (i have the original machine & games also). I discover the retexture of the old games, very especialy Zelda Ocarina of Time in the cell shading textures of djipi, (really awesome results). To apply the textures, is imperative to use the opengl pluguin nglide final. Somebody knows about to make this opengl pluguin Works in Nvidia 3d visión?. Its a dream can replay this game with nice textures in real 3D... I´m thinking about Helifax´s mod, but i don´t know about adapt to this emu. Any help will be much apreciated. Thanks & sorry about my awfull english. :-)

Isn't nGlide a Glide wrapper, not an OpenGL wrapper? I'd give dgVoodoo a try ... might be able to just drop the Glide dlls in the same directory as Project 64's exe. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/828843/3d-vision/old-dx7-and-below-games-3d-vision/

You can always play Gamecube and Wii versions of Ocarina of Time in Dolphin. I ported the community texture pack to Dolphin:https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-the-legend-of-zelda-collector-s-edition-hd-texture-pack-v0-4-patch-2-2015-05-04 It isn't complete yet, but it's mostly done. You can play in 3D and in widescreen, which you can't do with the glide plugins in N64 emulators.

Thanks masterotaku. But i have poor experience with ocarina in dolphin... When in dx9 to 3d , the control pad never works, and i cant choose between masterquest or normal. In dx11 no way to 3d... The release for project 64 is translated to spanish also. The dolphin release not... In p64 i have high fps rate , the sound is perfect, i have high resolution 1920 * 1080, works like a charm But in dolphin never find a configuration to have medium experience. I can get good results in wind waker and others( never 3d)... Dont like dolphin version of zeldas oot, because it uses an extra emulator inside the dolphin emulator to run p64 system on a gamecube, and zeldas oot in gc uses 1,20 gygas hdd, but zeldas oot n64 only takes 20 mb. Any way apreciates your help and nice job with your textures , ( must say i´m in love with cellshading djipi textures is art master piece). ;-)

I got 1964 emulator running with 3d Vision and I think Project 64 does works too. 1-Use Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5.2 plugin 2-Drop the two Dll from dgVoodoo2(I'm using version dgVoodoo2_44) imto nthe 1964(or Project 64) directory. I know It's and old plugin, but It has been working fine for me. Edit: I also added 1964.exe to Aion profile using NVinspector.

Necrobump! Project64 + Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5.2 + dgVoodoo + 3Dmigoto + 8xSGSSAA works great. I couldn't make the DX7 or DX8 versions of the Jabo plugin work. When used with dgVoodoo, the DX7 version crashes, and the DX8 version doesn't properly go to fullscreen mode (I really wanted to use the DX8 version. It's the least outdated version of an already outdated plugin). So I'll have to live with the drawbacks of using the old DX6 version and not being able to use texture packs made for the glide/rice video plugins. Still, I have made a widescreen hotkey that suffers from culling (better than nothing, I guess), a hotkey for convergence presets, and a hotkey that works as the typical HUD depth hotkey, but it can also be used for screen depth skyboxes (it moves any element with initial 0 depth to depth). If you can find individual 16:9 hacks, it's better. Like the 16:9 + 60fps hack for Super Mario 64 that Kaze published last month. I'll publish this as a fix this week, I think.

You could try posting on the DGVoodoo forums, he might be receptive to looking into it. More of a thread that turned into a feedback for it https://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=34931&sid=6cd021f1f4e8d9ec20a0d7d27a0f03a4&start=3740 Dege is the author

It turns out it works fine with the DX7 plugin and ALSO with the DX8 plugin, but only with the version that came out with Project64 1.6. So happy ending in the end, because that version already has the widescreen hack :). Alternatively, this version of PJ64 1.6.1 (also applying the patch from the page) may be better for the DX8 plugin because it's newer: http://www.jabosoft.com/articles/114 That widescreen hack (Graphics Configuration -> Advanced -> Adjust game aspect ratio to match yours) is better than my hotkey in DX8, but in DX7 (which doesn't have that option) it seems like the plugin doesn't cull most geometry even if I force a 48:9 aspect ratio with my hotkey. My hotkey keeps the game properly centered, but it can be bad for 2D skyboxes, while the opposite happens in DX8. Also, the DX8 plugin only works in fullscreen the first time in the emulator session. If you try it a second time, the image is frozen in fullscreen (the game still works in windowed). Options are good, so I'll make my fix work with the three versions.
