Hi yesterday i have bought nvidia 550ti graphic card and I am having problem in viewing 3d i have sony hx750 40 inch led tv led please can some one tell me is nvidia completable with sony hx750
I seem to have the same problem. Here's my config:
- AMD Phenom II X4 3.4GHz
- 8GB RAM
- Win7 Pro x64 (up to date)
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
- Driver version: 301.42 (installed yesterday)
- Sony Bravia HX758 (which is technically identical to HX750)
- Trial version of 3dTVPlay installed
* I can get Crysis 2 to run in 3D, but this game explicitly supports stereoscopic view (via game menu) and I can even uninstall the 3dTVPlay trial and still play in 3D.
* Same applies to Heaven DX11 Benchmark 2.5 (which also has a menu item to enable stereoscopic view).
* When I start these applications (having set the resolution to e.g. 1280x720@60) I get a green text displayed in the bottom right of the screen telling the rating and other stuff. Also a short cut (Ctrl-Alt-Ins) to disable the message. The short cut does not work and I can't get rid of the message, which is quite annoying.
* All other games I tried (specifically Diablo3, Skyrim and The Witcher 2) will not run in 3D.
* With these games, when I set the resolution and start the game, my TV tells me that a 3D signal is coming in, but the image is as flat as a piece of paper. Usually, even without shutter glasses you can tell whether the signal is 3D or not, because you see the double image. This is not the case here. The TV seems to detect a sync signal for the shutter glasses, but left and right images seem to be the same, so there is no stereoscopic effect. I also don't get any "green text" (no red either, but no message at all).
* In my NVidia control panel I can check the box "enable stereoscopic view", but all other elements are grayed out (slider for depth, button to configure short cuts, etc) and there is no 3dTVPlay logo.

What is this for?
On default you will be able to watch movies on this display but it will not allow you to run 3D apps in 3D. This post will provide you with instructions to make NVIDIA 3DTV Play work on unsupported SONY PlayStation display.
This has been tested on Windows 7 64 bits and it work and it is full of WOW. Ofcourse with many hours of research xD
Requirements
Supported NVIDIA video card Look Here http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-visi...uirements.html
Latest forceware driver release
HDMI 1.4 3DTV in this example it is going to be the SONY PlayStation display
You will need to disable driver signature enforcment if you are using Windows Vista/7 x64.
I got everything whats next?
Download the driver here http://www.mediafire.com/?9ndzg9gxvd19e1g
Open the device manager
Expand the Computer and then Monitors nodes
Find your Display (it is a Generic PNP Monitor), right click, and select Update Driver Software
Click Browse my computer for driver software
Click Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
Click have disk…
Browse to the location of the inf downloaded in step 1, select it, click Open, and click OK
If multiple models appear, select Generic for the manufacturer and then select NVIDIA Unsupported 3DTV (EDID Override)
Click Next, wait for the installation to complete.
Now you will need to Install 3DTV play from Nvidia.
Download it here: http://us.download.nvidia.com/Window...on_Utility.exe
uninstall Nvidia driver and install the older version (I tested up till 285.62 works)
Install it reboot you computer.
After reboot open the NVIDIA Control Panel and follow the standard procedure to enable 3D VISION, but in this case it should be listed as NVIDIA 3DTV Play. Once you’ve configured it start you game and set the resolution at 720p which 1280X720 if the game you are playing support 3D such as CODMW3, Diablo3, Starcraft 2 it will be IN 3D!
Like this post if it helped you getting you PC ready for some 3D Diablo 3 action with your SONY PlayStation Display!
