3D Vision: Samsung Influence? Lets get Samsung to reduce the red tint !!!
Nvidia/Andrew,
Do you have influence with Samsung to have them release a new 3D firmware that will reduce the red tint (or give us a red tint setting) on the 3D mode on all the DLP's HL-T Series , A650 & A750 are all effected!
The reason its so red on is because samsung makes their own glasses with Tri-def adn the lenses are darker so they made the 3D effect more red to compensate.
Of course Nvidia releases these kick ass glasses that are way clearer to begin with (which is great) but now the red effect is more dominant. The OEM glasses took the deep red and made it black, but the nvidia users that dumped the OEM glasses are stuck with black that look blood red.
I have complained about this to them when your product came out but just thinking that your team has to be contact with them somehow... Any way you could throw them this suggestion?
even if they wanted to leave it for the OEM users but at least give us control of the red tint setting...
This would be such a great fix for the Samsung community (which is large for you guys).... Guys if you own a Samsung it would hurt to post in here to show some support that the fix is needed...
It's alot to ask but it would be so beneficial for everyone involved.

Hi
I think I asnwered this in another thread. We believe the red tinting can be fixed or improved with driver work from us. We are investigating it and working on it now.
In fact, I started a thread here trying to solicit end user help on the issue.

It's a shame that you guys have to step in and fix ALL the samsung issue's but we love the glasses guys!!!
In the end this will only sell more glasses and DLP's
Samsung are you paying attention to the support Nvidia is providing us 3D Vision users?
The customer service from Andrew@Nvidia should be a example of how to handle situations!!!!!
