Whats better for 3d. nvidia 3d vision or Dlp 3d Ready
When I ask whats better I am not talking about games I'm talking movies both 2d and 3d.. See my projector has a symbol DLP 3d Ready and arcsoft Media Player has the same setting. DLP 3d Ready. I want to find out which one is best for movies since frankly my experince with 3d and none 3d movies has not been very appealing. I cant get any depth in any of the movies that I watch. I figure if DLP 3d Ready is better for 3d movies I will pick up a pair of glasses for them. So whats up anyone know off the top of there head what the difference is and which one is better for movies.
When you play a game without the glasses the picture looks blurry for nvidia vision
When you play a movie without the glasses the picture looks fine. perfect even. Not sure even if I am doing it correctly. i made another post about this but it didnt get any hit.

Any 3D content shows a double image (blurry) if watched without the glasses (or if the glasses aren't working properly).
If you see a perfect image without glasses, it means it's not working.
You have to be EXTREMELY careful with "DLP-3D-ready" because Texas Instrument (maker of DLP chips) introduced two completely different technologies under this very same name that are not compatible with one another.
-> one is for rear-projection DLP TVs used by Mitsubishi and Samsung, it's known as "Checkerboard". It is well documented and works well with many software.
-> the other is for front-projectors (all the rest, including your projector), It works similarely to nvidia 3D vision but is NOT supported by Nvidia, so application developers need to support it themselves and it is difficult to do.
From the description of the Arcsoft TMT 3D plugin, it only supports checkerboard.
