GTA 5 not working correctly
Hey community, Ive recently bought a new monitor wich is 3D Vision ready. Ive also bought the glasses u need for 3D Vision. So far ive tested some games like Stanley Parable and The Elder Scrolls Online. They work both fine and Im amazed how good they look in 3D. But today I tried to run GTA 5 in 3D. When I first started the game I couldnt start 3D with the shortcut, I had to turn on 3D within the game. But now, when I press ctrl+t to start 3D, my glasses dont make the picture 3D. I can see the screen as if I hadnt had the glasses on, but Im pretty sure they are on, because when I toggle 3D I can see how the glasses turn darker. Ive no clue how to fix this since im totally new to 3D. Hopefully someone can help me with this problem, because ive read so many good reviews for 3D Vision in GTA 5. My rig: Core i5 6400 GTX 970 8GB DDR 4 Resolution: 1920x1080 fullscreen settings: High

Welcome. 3d vision works in fullscreen/exclusive fullscreen mode. Borderless fullscreen will not work. Games like GTA 5 often turn off fullscreen mode for some reason when display changes are made. Make sure you are in fullscreen mode with ingame stereoscopic 3d on and the 3d should kick in.

Here is the topic we have going on about GTAV. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/825678/3d-vision/gta-v-problems-amp-solutions-list-please-keep-gta-discussion-here-/ You can find all answers right there. It will be the best for you to read through since this game have lot of issues and it will be really hard to explain what you should do to make all good. First of all you have to make sure that 3D is on in your game menu and that you have everything set in there. On start try to switch 3D off right before logo show up and then switch back on when you get into the gameplay. Just to avoid memory error. Sometimes game loads with lots of broken effects so you have to restar a couple of times to get it right. It`s like that in my case. Like I said - will be better for you to read through that topic because you might not have those issues at all or have them all at once.

For GTA5, you have to do all the 3D from in the game settings. When you enable it, it will need to relaunch from scratch. Also worth noting is that I've had problems in recent drivers, where lights come up broken at start. I needed to Ctrl-T on and off to get it to reset to normal fixed view.

The "memory error" message always appeared. I just turned 3D off right at the start and all the clipping errors gone :) The game looks really good in 3d, thanks for the help :)
