Skyrim sky fix (seems to work needs testing)
(THIS IS STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS. It has some problems that I'm trying to work out. I'm sharing this post so other viewers could help).

Thanks to user 3d4dd for getting the ball rolling here. Thanks to YoJZ for these oblivion files (which actually fix the sky in Skyrim too). Originally the files caused a problem with anomalies showing up during game play but I stripped out the problem files. There are two ways to fix the sky currently. I recommend the first way which has the best results so far. (Still working on perfecting it).

FIRST WAY

I attached a JPS so you can see the results (Make sure you save the JPS to your hard drive first before opening it). YES this fixes the sky problem in Skyrim, it just needs testing from you guys to make sure it works throughout the whole game. I tested both day & night.

1. Download meshes.rar
2. Extract the meshes folder to main install folder \The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim\Data
3. Once extracted it should look like \The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim\Data\Meshes
4. Fire up the game and sky problem should be gone.

SECOND WAY

You guys can turn off the sky by typing ts into the console

1. hit tilde to open console
2. type ts

Here is a list of console commands if you guys find something else.

Keep in mind when you turn off the sky, it's just blackness, so if it's day time it will feel like night.

SIDE NOTE

Also I hope Andrew gets the nvidia crosshair fixed by like tuesday since it breaks during combat in Skyrim.

This is not a real "skyfix", only a "cloud remover"...Thx for the effort but you should not call it a fix(and night stars are still broken...).

Edit: Using Oblivions fix also works for the stars, you should include it for nightsky. But it's a "stars remover"...and not a real "nightsky fix". /pinch.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':pinch:' />
