I'd first like to say that this game is absolutely wonderful with Nvidias 3d vision, it's great to see so many powers flying through the air. However I am having one problem with this game I have not with any of the other games I've tested. The 3d shuts off while playing the game, now I don't mean the glasses shut off or the bright green light on the emitter turns down meaning off. The double image you're supposed to see while gaming will all of a sudden go back to 2d. As in one image, but the emitter is still bright green and the glasses are still dark.
I have seen Andrew hop in and out of these forums and I hope that he may give me a little insight on why this may be happening as I've searched the forums about this game and people say it works fine. One more thing i'd like to add is that the profile for this game doesn't exactly exist, it simply runs off of the Star Trek Online profile which is also the first I've seen happen so I do not know if this has anything to do with it. If this on/off problem is resolved I will be completely overjoyed because Having it work flawlessly for about 10 minutes before I have to alt+ tab out and back in to fix it for another 5-10 (purely estimates) is extremely annoying especially considering this is an MMO and the enemies won't exactly wait for you. Thanks in advance for any support and ideas any of you fine people can give me for this problem.

Shameless bump. I honestly didn't think this bored moved this fast especially since I check it various times a day. Please help me out if you guys have any ideas at all in what it might be. I've tried setting all settings to low and all high to see if maybe an in game setting was causing this problem.

I have the Steam installation of Champions, but i am not currently paying the monthly fee. I'll see if I can get a free trial and fire it up again. I'm not sure why you're having trouble. I've only played it in 3D for about 2 minutes so i guess it's possible it could've happened to me if I'd played long enough. You could try renaming the .exe and see if it happens still. Idk. I wish I could be of more help. But, it sounds like a driver issue.

Hey thanks for the help :) I will definately try renaming the exe. I have a current active subscription at the moment so if you like I can send a referral trial or whatever it's called to your email. Of course it has to be a new account but that shouldn't matter since it's just for testing out the problem. Thx again for that idea!

I went ahead and re-activated my account and am going to play for a bit...let's see what happens. Not that I'll be able to solve the problem anyway, but I'm curious if this problem affects me too. There was a massive problem with the driver that caused extreme hitching only on NVidia cards that took NVidia a loooong time to finally fix. So, this may indeed be another driver issue. I'll report back in a little while...

I played it for about 40 minutes and had no problems at all. :) for me but :( for you. Perhaps you have a program installed on your pc that Champions doesn't like when in 3D mode...IDK what to tell you. Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?

Alright so I tested the past drivers and the first one BEFORE the Star Trek Online profile came out worked perfectly so that's gotta be the problem right there.

I'm using 197.45 in Windows 7. At least you seemed to have rectified it for the time being. I'd say send NVidia a bug report and perhaps they can look into it.
The game does look pretty good in 3D, but I hate having to turn off half of the effects to make it play right...especially anti-aliasing. I can't stand jaggies.

Hey thanks for the help :) I will definately try renaming the exe. I have a current active subscription at the moment so if you like I can send a referral trial or whatever it's called to your email.
