New 195.81 drivers DO NOT solve detection problems! 3 duds in a row comnplete with cr*p descript
Despite 195.81 description that it solves DLP /CRT detection problems they do not appear to at least on Windows 7 x64. 3 duds in a row, well done! :">

"This is a beta driver for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, and 200-series desktop GPUs and ION desktop GPUs.

This driver is identical to the 195.62 WHQL drivers except for the following:

Several bug fixes to support the new Adobe Flash 10.1 Beta 2 release. Learn more here.
Adds new SLI and multi-GPU profiles for Avatar Demo, Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising Demo, and Wings of Prey.
Fixes 3D Vision display detection for CRT and DLP displays."

And you couldn't put this in the topic already created because......?

We don't need 100 topics on the same driver set like we did with 195.62.

IMO this topic needs to be here under forum "3D Vision" as well because it is pertinent to this product. I'm all for creating at least one thread calling out the issue so that the officials can see just in case. This issue is just too important to risk being glossed by. Why? Because I'm a Samsung DLP owner and I want this problem solved.

That being said, guys, I know the Geforce driver does state that it fixes the DLP/CRT detection issue and that may lead one to understant the fix is within the driver but there is hope that the fix may actually be in the stereoscopy driver instead. I'll wait for the full CD driver to really be disappointed.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: WORKING 195.81 SOLUTION. No thankx to Nvidia's now obviously careless crew. I found a solution to 195.81 and detection / play.. RELATIVELY SIMPLE: Install 195.81 package (dont worry if check device manager and see yellow warning or can not enable anything if trying to setup 3d). After this install the 3D Steriocopic driver from 1.15, it will warn that it is incorrect for driver, click OK, it will then suprisingly try to install older driver but request you to overwrite newer file (the dud in 195.81) many times but then complete. For me after this when starting 3D test application it failed twice (no hard lock or BSOD) then WORKED!!!. At least in DAO and RE5 the result of 195.81 plus 1.15 Stereoscopic partially overwriting its poorly executed successor is a clear improvement over the 1.15 package.

Well at least we know that nVidia isn't on vacation... Just instead crapping in our mouths. I'll try the new driver, but I have little hope.

Today the GeForce driver v195.81 was released, which will help fix the CRT and DLP detection bug. In order to make the fix work, you will need the new 195.81 3D Vision driver which should be released later today.

I just want to repeat myself so I am perfectly clear: the 195.81 GeForce driver has the core fix for CRT and DLP users, but you will still need the 3D Vision v195.81 driver which is being released later today!

Any question? pleaes ask!

I got it working now, NVidia drivers are not really plug&play if you ask me. I removed anything NVidia related and installed again, and now it's working great. But why can't they make a driver that installs properly the first time...
