Alright let me start off by saying I'm not a hardcore gamer by any means. Therefore i don't need a $600 dollar SLI set up. But i am extremely interested in this technology and will be investing in a new beamer (Probably H5360), and the 3D vision Kit. I currently have an 8600GT, so i am aware i will be needing to upgrade my card. Question is, What card will give me the best results for under or around $150? I do want satisfactory results however, so if a $150 budget won't cut it for a good effect, than I'm willing to go a bit higher. Basicly i want to know the best card for someone who wants the technology, and plays few games on the PC. a few games i'd be interested in are (Bioshock, COD, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Mirrors Edge, and many horror games) do these games require an extreme set up to play smoothly? or better yet, what games would i NOT be able to play if on a budget.

I would say the GTX 260 is the way to go for you. its slightly higher than your budget between 180 and 200 dollars. But the GTS 250 and the 9800 GTX+ are pretty much the same GPU and while both are within your budget I would spring for the slight extra cost for allot more power and get the GTX 260.

I can vouch for the gtx 260 - works great for me. Any less horsepower and you might run into framerate issues /thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Alright than the GTX 260 it is /sweat.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> thanks guys. Anyone recomend a specific brand? I ussualy stick with XFX but again I'm new to 3D vision, maybe someone has had better experience with a different brand while using 3D?

I'll certainly recommend EVGA. I bought my GTX 275 used on eBay for $175 and it's been perfect. I would not, however, recommend Sparkle or BFG due to several different cards of theirs dying on me within 30 days. Just personal experience, of course. I'm sure they make good cards, too.
