OPTOMA HD66 I GOTS MINE

OPTOMA HD66
This is a really nice projector to be in the under the 1000 range. I was wanting a projector with HDMI connection and was also 3D Ready. This one is a winner. It's a little brighter than the HD65 so 3D is amazing even with 3D Vision Glasses. The color is a huge feature, If you have ever got to see what the HD65 is capable of it's like that but in 3D. Native resolution is 1280x720 and it does do 120hz. I'm very very pleased with this little beamer. The only Con i find is no driver support at this time, so as you would know I'm having to run as a CRT for 3D.
And we all know that no driver support CAN LEAD TO THE DARKSIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't have left and right reversed? I have to use the glasses upside down to see 3d with my HD66.

So when you hook this up do you need the extra cable like you do for DLP-TV's or does this just act like any other 120hz monitor?

And that is why the Acer will outsell the Optima. Driver support wins everytime.

The Acer is selling like a wild fire out of control right now, Optoma kinda shot thier self in the foot on this one. I'm sure (keeping my fingers crossed) a driver will come soon

Damn. I definitely want this pj, but I'll have to wait for driver support. Thanks for the info, everyone.

Andrew: Anything you can tell us about nVidia testing with this PJ? I've heard nothing about the Acer H5360 coming to the U.S. which leaves the Optoma HD66... but of course it's not officially supported.... *sigh*

How big can you set the picture on one of these across say a whole wall?? also how much popout can you obtain?? Really interested in buying one of these to be honest but never dealt with a projector before?
