270.51 caused CTD in Shift 2

Hi there,

Sorry to hijack the thread, i'm looking for a solution to low fps in this game with 2x480s (i7-930 @ 4 Ghz) running 2d surround res of 5760x1080 (using 270.51). Only getting about 25-40fps, regardless of what i set the in-game textures to. I made a profile and disabled CUDA, which stopped the random slowdowns but stil nowehere near friends running eyefinity at 70fps. All other games i tried 270.51 with have been great for me (BC2, Dirt2, iRacing all very good). Reducing resolution to the 1024 equivalent I get about 50-60 fps but the view is stretched and looks terrible. Any advice?

Thanks

Hi

Are you using 3D Vision Surround? Currently with 3D enabled, the maximum FPS you can achieve is 60fps.
