I have been meaning to make this thread for ages, in the last few days i have been really hammering into some Wii and Gamecube games in 3d, some of them work fantasticly well, so i thought now was the time.
I am using 3.0 version of dolphin, and have a newer build for some other games that i have ran into problems with.
I am using a i5 2500k at 4.4ghz and a gtx 580, so thats pretty much as good as dolphin emu can get at the moment, i thought i would compile a little list of games that you must try out in 3d if you have not, I am using an HMZ T1 at the moment as well, so no ghosting, which is fantastic for converging to the limits of my eye.
1. Zelda - Wind Waker (gamecube) wow, this looks stunning, use the widescreen hack in the advanced, and you will be playing windwaker in perfect 3d, widescreen in perfect hd, its amazing how lovely the assets in this look when upscaled, so glad i never completed the game years ago, the art style has made it timeless too, the only problem is you will have to play through dragon's roost with a horrible effect at certain sections, do it, once past its perfect again.
2. Mario Kart (Wii) looks perfect and upscales perfectly, runs 60fps, and to be honest, a lot more enjoyable that i had gave it credit for, i was quite stoned one night, and i swear i was actually in mariokart lol, try it :)
3. Donkey Kong Country Returns(Wii) The graphics in this are stunning, running at 60fps, i would recommend using a 360 controller rather than a wii controller for this though as the shake contols can be off putting, again the assets are fantastic and a great 3d effect can be acheived, the game is huge fun and challenging as well
4. Marumasa (wii) This layers out the parallax backgrounds and gives a lovely pop book type of effect, the game is fantastic as well, a Beat em up RPG if you will, needs to be tried.
5. Viewtiful Joe 2 (Gamecube) another game that look lovely due to the cel shaded style that it uses, timeless again, and a great Capcom game, really enjoyed playing theough this again, rock solid at points though, but another must try.
Anyway thats my first 5 recomendations, i will come back and update eveynow and again with my findings, fell free to help out, a lot of other games run in 3d but with small problems, i am looking to make an almost perfect list, Galaxy 2 would be in there but it slows down to much in dx9 plug in, and at the moment 3d can not be used with the dx11 plugin which runs the galaxy games much better.

I'm interested to try out MGS: The Twin Snakes, any report on this one. I've played the original MGS1 on PC..I believe it came out in '98 and it was a great game, so this remake should be awesome as well.

Tried out twin snakes for you, it seems to run well in 3d using dolphin 3.0, only problem is snakes shadow sometimes display wrong, i only watched the intro and played the first 5 mins though, forgot how clunky the game feels, been years since i played it.
So hope you enjoy a playthrough, let me know if you come across any problems.
It looked okay in 3d, certainly not stunning, but certainly worth a playthrough in 3d.

Thanks a lot, I'll give it a go whenever I can, I hope it doesn't run too slowly, since my system is kind of old by now.

Great thread, have to test it out as my girlfriend and I play Mario Kart on Wii almost every damn day haha.
To play in 3D glory with my Asus VG278H would be a nice break /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Dolphin is great but I also tried project 64 for Nintendo 64 and got some great results. Mario 64 was really cool especially the snow flakes coming out of the screen. It is quite amazing that older games renders so well in 3D. Donkey Kong 64 works well two. F-Zero not so much.

Really looking forward to the next set of cpu's to come out as Dolphin is heavy on the cpu.

Just make sure to have the controller set to background input in the configuration, works fine after that.
