Super Mega Baseball Extra Innings - 3D Vision
I was in a baseball mood today, so I downloaded a "demo" of this game, to see if the 3D is working before buying it on Steam. To my surprise, it's awesome. I don't know if there are any baseball fans among our modders, but there is simply no baseball game on PC that's worth anything. This game is a revelation, it's insanely fun to play! There's just one problem, the interface is "cut out", for lack of a better word. It's difficult to see some of the HUD elements, but once you know how to play it's perfectly playable, surprisingly. Pitcher's perspective is a little flat, but that's ok. I uninstalled it, 'cause fair is fair, and I'll buy it on Steam, but before I do this I was wondering if any of you guys know if the HUD in these type of games can be fixed. I did not encounter many games like this. Also, I tried to find some details on the game (DX version, game engine) just to see if it's something that you guys have at least seen before, but I could no find anything. Fixing the HUD would be awesome, this game is unique on PC and unless there's a port of The Show coming in a few years (realistically, never) this game will probably be the only good baseball game on PC for a long while, and in 3D Vision no less! Thanks in advance!

I own the game and I using the AC Unity profile. Reminds me of BaseBall Stars Neo Geo.

Thanks Zig for the suggestion. I tried that profile myself, and a few others, but the HUD elements are still cut out, with the left eye seeing only the left part, and the right eye the right part, of the different HUD section. And the two parts interfere with each other, due to depth. If I reduce depth, they start aligning . Convergence does not impact this behaviour.

Maybe it has something to do with SLI? I only have a single card so I can't verify. Anyway, the HUD & UI did have too much depth. So I moved it closer to the screen. I also added 2 convergence presets on the 'Z' key. Use the higher convergence preset when on the pitching mound. (The key for this can be changed in the d3dx.ini file) fix: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2015/09/super-mega-baseball-extra-innings.html Also, the fix doesn't kick in until once you are in a game. So, initially, the main menu will have too much depth. I haven't played much of this game yet. Let me know if this works or not. Or if you encounter anything else. Thank you very much 4everAwake! Indeed the hud was on a plane with too much depth. I'm so glad you could sort this out, all the baseball fans with 3D Vision out there are forever indebted to you (there must be at least 4 or 5 of us :-) ! I suggest you put it on Helixblog, for additional exposure. The developers deserve good publicity, and you sir deserve all the credit for making this playable in 3D Vision.
