I don't really want this but you guys should get what you want. My vote doesn't count because I'm an old-schooler and don't use the 3d-vision system. My reason for not wanting it is because in some of my games the new color on the screen screws up the color pallette of the game (Tombraider Underworld) and even crashes another game (forgot which). I suppose this happens to none of you 3d-vision people but don't be surprised if it does one day in some game. As long as it works good, I'm all for it but you can even ask for more. I think nvidia should make the old StereoOSDEnable registry setting work like before although it doesn't really show a bar graph like you want. I'm not sure if convergence should be expressed as a percentage anyway but they could find some other way to put it in a bar graph form.
If you want to share convergence settings with others, find it in the registry under the stereo3d gameconfig entry and tell the other person to set theirs to that. I know this is a hassle and things should be easier but this is the workaround for now and probably later too. By the way, I tried setting "per-game" separation settings in the gameconfig entries but it didn't take. It looks like the system is just setup to use one global separation setting. Try it on your system if you want since my system is old.
Yes, I agree there should be a game profile editor. You have to do it in the registry for now. For you new people, nvidia has a history of not making alot of improvements like these but we can still ask. There was a game profile editor that someone wrote on their own but I didn't find it very useful and I don't think it would work on the new system.
Maybe I'll post a screenshot showing the screwed-up color pallette just for fun.
