i don't see any changes between previous versions and now, crysis 2 still uses a fake 3d rendering in 1.9 with newest drivers (named 2d+depth somewhere).
same halo around the weapons, same lack of depth as before.
why you have changed rating if nothing has changed ?

There apparently was an issue of object rendering at the wrong depth that is no longer an issue. The only artefact left apparently is the halo around the gun. I love this as an option, just wish we also had real 3d available to us in crysis 2.

Whatever the case, they need to get their stuff together because the 3D is imo terrible. In other games, the 3D effect is obvious and looks fantastic when optimized to the best convergence level. In Crysis 2, to see anything even remotely popping out in 3D, you actually have to look for it. The only things that are even passable for 3D are the guns, the HUD and anything within a feet. Anything in the distance, there is no difference between 2D and 3D.

BTW that was sarcasm. Crysis 2's fake 3D still doesn't impress me.

The "excellent" rating is deceptive.
