projectors have allot of plus points like no ghosting more pop out and the h5360 works with the ps3

Hi,

I cant compare the Acer lcd monitor with the H5360. Ive got the Viewsonic. Before i bought the projector i was concerned about loss of resolution, at the same time as being 5 times bigger. Well, i much prefer the projector!
For me bigger with 3d has more of an impact than bigger in 2d.
Crosstalk/ghosting is virtually zero on the projector (this was the second thing that put a smile on my face). The only ghosting i ever see is when the glasses arent dark enough when closed, so some light leaks through. This is hardly noticeable, and only in certain extreme circumstances eg i didnt see it for a few days because it is only noticeable a small percentage of the time. In comparison, with the lcd i noticed it within 1 second, and can always see it to some extent.
Also at the moment the depth compared to screen size isnt as high for the projector. Something that was easily remedied in earlier drivers, but the last few have stopped you from changing the registry to fix this. Hopefully they will allow this again.
The loss of resolution is noticeable. I wish it was 1080p as you can see many jaggies, even with high aa.
So in my opinion, the projector isnt perfect. But the size and no ghosting far outweigh the loss of resolution. So the projector wins everytime for me.

I have both the acer projector and acer monitor. I went back to the monitor. I've had projection since I was a wee lad, so i'm used to a big picture. I think alot of people hear are first time projector owners and are really amazed at watching anything on 100"+ screen. The loss of resolution is very noticeable to me. Everything on the monitor is much more defined and texture detail is much more evident. Also, depth on the Acer projector SUCKS!! Nvidia has to fix this!. I get way more depth (seperation) on my acer monitor. Also rainbow effect is annoying, but it's not that bad as to ruin the experience.

The size of the projection screen + 0 ghosting is very nice. I may try the projector again when Nvidia lets us set the depth to a much higher level. Also waiting for a 1080p version.

are saying that the h5360 enables nvidia 3d vision to work with the ps3 or just plain make the ps3 work with the projector?
