This released today. They are calling it a "Headstart" access, they plan to do more to this game.
They also have Multi-player support built in. It used to be via GameSpy on the original version, but GameSpy closed down
$19.99 with 6 additional DLCs at $2.99 each.
An oldy but a goody? I've no idea, I have the old version sitting in my backlog. I'll eventually play this instead though.
A PDF of release notes is available.

Nice I will have to watch the developer videos, the single player campaign was pretty meh, but the wealth of player modules was awesome in the end. But I wonder if the online persistent worlds will work again with the new system. that could be interesting.
.. Ahhh they do, apparently. Very nice. I have been pretty critical of Beamdogs minimalist enhanced editions to make a buck but this one actually seems pretty nice.

Btw Game works well in 3dvision with helifax's Open GL wrapper. Only broken effect I have seen so far is some light sources on things like fire pits.

Ok, I reinstalled the 3d fix and its working for the most part. the "U" button to adjust the presets isn't working and the depth/convergence is at a minimal. if anyone has any ideas or suggestions that would help I would be thankful=)

Uuh what 3d fix? As far as I know no ones done an actual fix for the game it just so happens to work pretty well out of the box being an old game.
But it's also Open Gl so only Helifax's wrapper will work for it unless I have missed something.

It's been awhile since I've been on the forums and I just recently got back to 3D gaming and boy did I miss it!
There is an actual fix for Neverwinter Nights and I was part responsible for this. Helifax's wrapper does the heavy lifting. As mentioned in this thread, the flames and lighting is the problem but has been fixed by me through a couple of modified textures (tga) which need to be put into the override folder of the game. The fix is not a shader fix but a texture file fix. The problem is the illusion of a couple of displaced textures in 3D Vision. You can download the fix here
http://3dsurroundgaming.com/OpenGL3DVisionGames.html#N
You need to highlight the link and right click and save target as. The two tga textures in the override folder go into the Neverwinter Nights override folder. You can change the key and convergence settings in the 3DVisionWrapper.ini file. There is a read me file, read it!
I have everything maxed out in the game settings with the exception of the following.
Enable Environment Shadows = Off
Creature Shadow Detail = Slider to the left
In Advanced Section
High Resolution Font = Disabled (I am using a Interface mod - Stylish GUI instead)
You can try to enable shadows because I don't remember what the results are. With the wrapper, texture fix and these settings, the game looks super clean in 3D Vision for me and I couldn't be happier. I also installed some high resolution texture tileset mods. Project Q and CEP I believe. You can google this stuff.
Anyway, I've put in hundreds and hundreds of hours into Neverwinter Nights and still play this game in 3D due to all the custom mods and campaigns that are available. My 3D settings have high convergence and I am also using a camera mod. This is my favorite table top DND RPG type game in which the toyification works great in 3D and gives me the nostalgia of the old DND pen and paper. No other game gives me this unique 3D experience. It's like sitting above and around dioramas!
Nice to be back and I hope all are doing well!
Addendum: One clarification, this is for the original version of the game. I don't own the enhanced edition.
