I have done messed up my GTA V 3d something awful and I don't know how to fix it. I've tried everything I can think of, including resetting all of my graphics to default. I've adjusted the in-game convergence, and the nVidia convergence using the "advanced in-game shortcuts", but it seems that no matter what I do, it always looks like 'double-vision'. Other games look fine, and GTA V looked fine when I first started playing, so I'm not sure what I did or how to get it back to the default. If anyone could help, I'd certainly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, try clean driver update first.
If that doesn't work- your screenshot there says it's running at 144Hz, which doesn't work with 3D Vision. If you are actually running at 144, you'll get this sort of effect. Hard to say if it's real, GTA5 tends to lie about some settings.

I think I am having the same problem. Just started with the latest driver update and I don't care enough for GTA to do a clean install at this point especially with AK on the horizon where Ill try with its game ready driver.
Try this.
Advanced Graphics options.
High resolution Shadows. (toggle this on/off, and apply)
If I do this that double vision problem goes and everything is rendered in 3d again. except for the shadows Which I haven't been able to get to work since the previous Nvidia driver.

Ah! I also have been trying out the 353.30 driver, and it completely breaks GTA5. 3D is all over the map, shadows broken, halos around character, multiple objects at wrong depth, alt-f1 crashes game. I did not find any setting to make this work on this driver with the default profile.
To answer the OP: It's the specific driver itself.

Drivers are a mess right now in general;)) And not only drivers... "Next Generation" software in general... Starting from games all the way to the drivers;))
For the 2D/3D problem if you experience it.... Try setting VSYNC OFF in NVPANEL and VSYNC OFF In game settings.
VSYNC should be controlled by Stereo Driver and not game/GFX driver... I was able to fix the 2D/3D problem in other games... might work here as well ?!?

No arguments there.
Yes I have vsync off in both game and nvpanel. Still a problem, it either doesn't launch in 3d at all, similar to the pictures in the original post, or all the shadows are broken.
I can replicate this by toggling High resolution shadows on and off and then it will force 3D, but again shadows all 2D still.
I have some time off work today so Ill roll back to an earlier driver where it was working and see what the results are.

I just told you what I found out working for me on the 353.06 and 353.30 drivers:) No idea if it will improve things for you though;)
You can always try 345.20 or 347.88 drivers (with GTAV profile imported).
Also check this post out and use that profile;))
