Windows 8 3dtv play nvidia
Hello everyone I'm Italian so forgive the translation with google or if I'm wrong section lol. I wanted to know if the 3dtv play works with windows 8. and even if I can use it without the IR emitter as I would use the glasses with the samsung tv. I read that the 3d vision software you can install only if you have the emitter, is not it?

Yes, 3DTV Play will work with W8. 3DTV Play has a free trial and costs $40. It is free if you have an Nvidia emitter connected, but the emitter will be disabled. So you'll use the emitter embeded in the TV or an external one and glasses from the manufacturer. 3D Vision drivers/software is part of the regular GPU drivers. http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-overview.html

I wish it were more clear: Can I buy at $ 40 3dtv software and use it on a tv (samsung) without buy emitter nvidia?

Yes, the TV has it's own emitter. So you do not need the Nvidia emitter. Just be careful 3DTV Play has 5 initial activatoins. Once used, you can get the activations renewed, but it can be a hassle. So if you are in the habit of reformatting often or using drive sweepers, this might become a problem.
