Once they finish patching this game, I will give it another look for Geometry based 3D.

HI all,
In regards to CM mode for this game, I can only play without my 3dvision set up. I am using my 3d television running passive 3d in 1080p set to manual SBS mode and running the game using the latest Reshade and Depth3d versions.
As helifax stated in his patch using the visor in CM mode resets the depth map and you need to restart the game. Unfortunately true , when you use the visor the depth map becomes a map of the last animal or plant that you scanned until you quit the game. Also when you are in your ship the depth map becomes a map of the spinning ship in your cockpit, when you leave your ship the depth map resets is normal again though and you dont need to restart.
So CM mode is great only for walking and driving around planets if you have a monitor or tv that can do manual SBS. It does actually look really good, I play the game in 1440p and then use steam streaming to send to my 3d TV. I find that the downscaling from 1440p CM this way really sharpens up CM mode on my 1080p screen , and it looks very nice. I play other games that don't work with 3d vision this way as well.
I also have a 1080p Samsung 3d monitor that does manual SBS and if I just play the game straight to that without streaming to downscale it, it looks awful.
I hope someone finds this helpful, it is enjoyable to explore planets in CM if you can get a decent resolution. I dont think CM mode will every really work 100%, unless it is a shader that causes the depth map to change and that shader can be removed.
EDIT:When I say CM I mean depth3d mode, sorry if confusing

According to what the devs said, this game will be updated every 3-6 months for years to come, so I guess we won't see it in Real3D again any time soon. Too bad Depth3D doesn't really work too well. Looking forward to what sgsrules can do with it.

So I'm not sure if anyone still plays this but the game just got another massive patch with overhauled graphics and apparently they're going for weekly community updates.
I know Geometry3D is out of the question at this point but I was wondering if anyone managed to get Depth3D running properly with Helifax's wrapper since I don't have a 3DTV or anything that supports SbS to play it with the latest Reshade+Depth3D.
Basically I just fired up the latest fix + Depth3D combo and I got some pretty bad issues, mainly the Depth3D settings have no effect whatsoever and even with Reshade uninstalled, all modified shaders deleted and everything 3D-related disabled in the wrapper.ini I'm getting some graphical glitches and corruption so I'm thinking maybe the opengl dll is outdated as well.

Salutare Kaimasta!
The fix is totally broken, both the Geometry 3D and the Depth 3D (which never worked properly).
During the weekend, I actually started looking back at the game and I started implementing a new Depth 3D fix, based on the modifications made by sgsrules to my wrapper (based on Crytek's Single Stereo Pass).
I still need to fix some issues in the wrapper and in the implementation before a release, but I wanted to let you know that it comes;)
So far, I am very pleased with this new Depth3D approach and I plan to make it general, so other OpenGL games can be played as well! (Something that I wanted to do since last year, but never got the time to do it.)
I'll post some screenshots later this evening to show how things look :)

Wow Helifax that's great news, just too awesome.
Btw they've also implemented a Terrain Tesselation option. You can edit Settings\TKGRAPHICSSETTINGS.MXML with N++ if you wanna give it a try. I think it looks real cool with it but it still has some problems which is probably why it's not enabled by default. Also I recommend https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/617 for a big FPS boost until they finish patching up the performance issues that came with this update.
Great seeing you around here again :]

I don't think I'll play this game, is it OpenGL? if so, will it have the same issue with the eyesynch frames? I was not able to play Soma because of that. I was getting headaches. Either way, it is very good to see you Helifax. :)

This is NOT geometry 3D. As a result some banding/blurring will appear!
This doesn't suffer from any eye synchronisation issues, as both perspectives are calculated in the same pass (for those asking).

Looking pretty cool Helifax! Really glad to see you keep on doing what you're good at! You guys who excel in binary chemistry are very valuable to this community. Can assure you there are many more introverted guys who feels happy to see you here who doesn't feel like commenting.
This world has never been more confused, gloomy and cruel. But only because we let evil spirits free by digging more into the abyss. And when speaking of evil spirits I really mean evil spirits. Not humans. At our weakest they take control of us. I've been down the rabbit's pipeline. I have seen the devil. It changed my life.
From what I read, this game should have a very peaceful psychological effect on the brain like Firewatch and Zelda. Hope you succeed =)

@Helifax, hey, cool Man. I just re-installed this to have a place to wander, and at your site grabbing the old fix, which as you say is broke. I played my first Lego game several months ago, and have now finished about 6 of them, damn they're addicting. I need to give my thumbs a break!! Take care :-)
