I know there are a couple of recent posts about this, but I have read and I do not have clear my mind. I am looking for the perfect monitor so far (or the closest to perfection), having in mind that:
1) I prefer only native 1080p resolution (not 4K).
2) I like playing both 3D and 2D, so I want a G-Sync monitor (to play 2D games), but also compatible with Nvidia 3D Vision (of course G-sync and 3D at the same time is impossible).
Please, give me advice about a model with those properties.

Nvidia is having a contest to win a free g-sync monitor. (ends 5-31)

EDIT: in the terms it says "2.Entry is only open to Australian residents"
Here's Nvidia's official g-sync list

Blur Buster's lists a couple of more, but is also outdated.

TFT Central has in depth articles on monitors that they test and usually has some good information.

Just came across a new one from Asus. (2560X1440)
"ASUS Announces MG279Q – 27″ WQHD IPS Gaming Display with 144Hz and FreeSync"
No word on 3D, but Asus typically follows a naming pattern where if the second letter is a "G", it's 3D Vision certified.

Hmm, they show it in the article with AMD GPUs...perhaps no 3D?
