So I bought the 2233rz to replace my CRT aaannnnnddd... results were not what I expected
So yeah, I had a 24inch widescreen CRT. I was running 1280x720 at 120 hz with 3d vision, and life was pretty good! Ghosting, however, was bad, so I bought a 2233rz.
The ghosting is way, way, way reduced on this LCD.
The input lag is way, way, way increased on this lcd. My skills in fast paced first person shooters have gone to hell.
Running 1680x1050 really hurts performance over 1280x720. Nothing to be done about that one, though.
I now have white flashes every 10 seconds or so in most games. I've never had that problem with my CRT.
Sometimes the display driver now locks and restarts, causing the game to lock up with sound repeating, then the monitor goes into standby mode, then comes back on in 2d mode. This whole process takes about 10 seconds and is infuriatingly annoying. This happens every 15 minutes or so.

Yeah, damn. Looks like I should have gotten the viewsonic. I didn't research the input lag on it before I bought the sammy. Guess I can always give it to my roommate...
The flashing is really weird, I never ever ever had flashing issues before (minus for when I had rivatuner installed)... so the only thing that changed was my display, and boom I get flashing. Maybe I'll back the resolution down to 1280 again? Although it'll look like crap, but yeah.

I get this sometimes after getting a new display and increasing resolution (1024*768 CRT -> 1360*768 Plasma TV) so I figured the extra strain on the graphics card is the cause. I have to upgrade.

I had issues with my Xi fi sound card causing similar issues with my system. I reduced the sound quality in the control panel down to a lower setting and it fixed my lockup issues.
