What happened to Helix's 3dcrosshairfix?
Maybe I'm late to the party on this, but I just now noticed that the latest (later?) drivers no longer contain a file called 'nvstres.dll' - which means that there's no file to replace with the modified 'nvstres.dll' and therefore no 3D Cross hair fix for games like Mass Effect. Can anyone tell me what happened and if something has changed?

... just guessing here ... NVIDIA happened, they hired these guys(all 4 of them ... the lovable one near the middle was eventually promoted to group leader!) to help out around the office and they did such a great job of actually coming up with and adding a single feature after a bazzillion year passing that they were allowed complete creative control of the entire project? I wonder if this relates to the issues with some of the older fixes.

Yes, probably related to the latest generation of drivers, where they broke Chiri's unlocker as well. They restructured their driver software and some of these things changed. Anything that relied upon the nvapi.dll load order is broken as well.

Hmmm... too bad then. As much as Eqzitara plays Mass Effect, I would think he would know about this or have some input.

I've been in occasional contact with SteveK, they're definitely looking into the issues raised in the petition. I pointed him to this thread as well in case it was related.
