100% is nice, but it doesn't have quite the same wow factor in 3rd person games compared to 1st person. Is it possible to bump it higher than max? I read bits and pieces on doing so but all I could find was outdated and applied to older drivers.

Depth hacks are practically required for projector users.
You won't mess anything up. It just increases the strength of the depth slider which you can readjust at any time. You have to run it every time you start the game though (that is, after the game has loaded). Alt-tab or Control+Alt+Delete to get to the desktop.
