general info on these LEDlaser hybrids:

http://www.cine4home.com/tests/3-tests/31-casio-xja-1302450--led--laser-instead-of-uhp.html

very good. Also the all round functionality completely wipes out the bulb competition.

http://www.maxlum.de/produkte/blackscreen_rollo.html
^^ says
"white used to be good enough" , haha, good slogan!

gain 0.25,,, that means its 4 times less bright than white.
I think I can settle for rather reasonably priced greyer material thats 2.5 times brighter than white.

The noise level is even higher than a bulb front projector, it must be horendous! Fail squared!

I dunno guys, I'm looking for the biggest sheet of linear polarizer available cause I want to anti glare coat my screen yet, sorry thats much more interesting than either the latest hdmi bull they come up with , or roller's constant whine about noise, yet in rear projection you can put projector anywhere, even inside furniture. :noob:
RS232 port is there so you can remote control it.
Yes I think it does 120hz , Vivitek LED confirmedly does, maybe thats the path for nVidia support they plan! Please google.
