What driver should I download for the GTX 980M to enable steroscopic 3d vision?
What driver should I download for the GTX 980M to enable steroscopic 3d vision in the nvidia control panel? All I'm seeing right now in the panel is the 3D settings at the top. I don't see any other options. On the GTX 980M specifications page I don't even see nvidia 3d as a feature. Does it even have this feature? Could I get a link please?
I'm on windows 8.1.

I assume you're running on a Laptop with a 980m.
Therefore you cannot enable 3D vision without a 3D capable screen.
AFAIK no laptops with a 980m support 3D vision.

Pay attention to the 4th pic down. If your output is not directly connected to the Nvidia GPU, you will not be able to use Nvidias stereoscopic drivers with an external monitor.

Under Select a PhysX processor option I can't get the physX to switch the monitor from the Intel card to the GTX 980M option even though I have it chosen when I press apply. I have the adapter plugged into the only mini-display on the lap top.
Am I doing something wrong or am I just assed out?
There is an option to disable the Intel card but I'm afraid I'm going to be left without a picture. Should I disable it or should I just give up now?

Did you read it?
It has nothing to do with switching PhysX.
You simply want to confirm in the PhysX portion of the Nvidia Video Control Panel that your output is routed directly off of the Nvidia GPU. If it is not, you are S.O.L.

I did read it, as far as I know its plugged into the nvidia GPU. I'm not computer savy at all. I assume if its plugged into the mini-dislay port it's plugged into the Nvidia GPU, And my USB ports are 3.0 with powersharing. Am I wrong in assuming this? I have an alienware 17 R2 Laptop, I know its over priced trash, but like I said I'm not smart about computers which is why I bought it.
So, how exactly would I confirm this:
"You simply want to confirm in the PhysX portion of the Nvidia Video Control Panel that your output is routed directly off of the Nvidia GPU." ?

Print screen the PhysX page so we can see what you are working with.
More eyes on the problem should tell if how it's connected and what you can or can't do.
If it worked with the old computer you should already have the adapter.
I did a print screen and saved it as a jpg, how exactly do I post it to this forum? You have to excuse me, like I said, I'm not good with computers I just like to play games on them.

Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
