?? The list of games for 3D Vision compatibility? That doesn't have anything to do with what's on your computer, it's the same list for everyone. Or do you mean the list in Manage 3D Settings? Just uncheck the 'installed on my computer' box.

Hi

The feature you are talking about is to show the list of compatible games that are installed on your PC. We have some problems with that code detecting each game properly so while the game may show up, we dont detect it.

When you launch the game does it work though?
the games work fine
the problem is that Nvidia 3D vision only detects games installed in the default program files folder. i have 2 HDDs so i like to keep my games on my secondary one. plus colin McRae rally shows p even thought its not installed

Right, that is known problem we have in our control panel, not detecting all games.

I don't have 3D Vision installed, but had a similar problem. I couldn't find the answer anywhere on the internet. So, once I figured it out, I just had to tell somebody. /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Especially since Andrew's involved in this thread.

I installed Mass Effect 2 (via the EA Downloader) and played the game. I then went into the 3D Program Settings of the NVIDIA Control Panel. ME2 was not listed as a program found on this computer. I looked in the list of all the programs and saw Mass Effect II. So, I knew the profile existed for the game.

I noticed that my desktop shortcut for ME2 pointed to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Mass Effectâ„¢ 2\MassEffect2Launcher.exe". I was sure that the name of the executable was the problem.

So, I navigated further into the game folder to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Mass Effectâ„¢ 2\Binaries\MassEffect2.exe". I was sure that NVIDIA used this executable's name in their profile. I launched the game from there. After exiting the game, I went back to the NCP, and the game still didn't show up.

Next, I added a shortcut to my Desktop pointing to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Mass Effectâ„¢ 2\Binaries\MassEffect2.exe". After launching from there, Mass Effect II now showed up in the list of programs installed on my computer.

I'm guessing that the NCP only searches certain areas of the operating system for the executable.
