Convergence and depth settings for your games. Tips and tricks on how to adjust settings.
Someone mentioned they get a lot of "pop out" in Left 4 Dead, but I don't see much. I just now started playing with convergence, but it's hard to see the difference when the game is running and you have no time to stand still. I'll keep working on it.
I'm looking for tips on how to set up the convergence and/or depth settings on favorite games. I'm looking for tips on Dawn of War 2, Left 4 Dead and Call of Duty: World at War.

"You have to adjust the convergence in batman before you will see the depth. Take your glasses off and adjust the convergence until the ears of batmans mask becomes a single image. "

Sorry if this has been posted before, but searching for covergence yields a ton of results.

Great idea for a thread. I was wondering how everyone messed with their settings as well. Don't know if we all can agree on the 'perfect' settings as each of us prefer different things and sometimes our brains perceive the image differently. Personally, this goes for most games, I like to set the depth at 40-60% and the convergence at 20-40%.

How do you know what percentage convergence is set at? I usually just play with the convergence settings until it looks "good." Depth is usually around 50%.

Here is a non-proprietary guide on convergence and separation settings. Remember to turn the advanced settings on in the NVIDIA stereo driver, or you won't be able to adjust anything.

On the opening 1 player map (No Mercy) I adjusted the convergence so the pistol has no ghosting (or is one solid gun). My depth is probably 60 to 70% depending how my eyes feel. If you go into the very first room, hop on the table in the dining room off the kitchen. The chandelier can pop out of the screen about 8 to 10 inches depending on where you stand and how you turn.
By pop out, I mean I place my finger on the edge of the chandelier appears to be and then take off my glasses and see how far away from the screen I am. Good effects. But the teammates you walk into and through are annoying at times.
The pistol is about 5 or 6 inches outside the screen. I put my thumb on it as if I'm about to pull back on the hammer. The uzi my teammates hold are also popping out of the screen, but it's hard to get the bots to stand still while I jump around in their face.
