3D Vision + TV 120HZ How to choose?
Hi All,

I have bought Nvidia 3D Vision and now I need to buy a monitor capable of running 120HZ. Instead of buying a new PC Monitor, I was wondering if anyone have successfully tested 3D Vision on a TV? I read on Nvidia's page that only Mitsubishi is, at the present time, able to run 3D Vision. But why would not a TV which accepts input signals on 120HZ also be able to run 3D Vision? If anyone is using 3D Vision with a 32'' TV, please advice me. Thanks in advance.

As of right now there are no TV's that at least I am aware if that will accept a 120hz input signal.
Even if there were 3D Vision will only run on displays with recognized EDIDs, so if it ain't on the list, don't expect it to work.

The exception is Mitsu DLP TV's and I believe Samsung plasma sets which will accept a checkerboard signal. However I do not know if the generic DLP option is still in the drivers.

3D TV Play ionly works on sets that support HDMI 1.4 and again only those on the list, it is limited to the HDMI required 3d resolutions 1920x1080@24Hz and 1280x720@60Hz.
