How to fix/disable shaders in games(DLL,guide and fixes).

Mass Effect 3 appears to work fine (using the instructions for newer drivers). The ME1 log file grows to about 13MB almost instantly so I'm not sure what parts are useful. For reference, I'm using the ME1 shaderoverride folder (proper location), with the d9xsettings.ini in the same directory as the executable and DLL and have used virtually every version of D9D9.DLL (debug and release). ME2 doesn't even get as far as resuming/starting a new game.

I didn't make fixes for ME1/ME2 , so couldn't say whats wrong with them.
Did you try just D9D9.DLL (without shaderoverride folder in the game dir) for ME1/ME2 ?

Without the shaderoverride folder both ME1 and ME2 work...interesting.

I don't have ME1-2 currently installed. I'll check them later when download it again from Origin.

Perhaps its because of updates?
Try dling newest versions of me1.

I installed the 1.02 patch right after installation. I've tried with/without vscync, different filter methods (point/linear/etc), with/without right-click crosshair, you name it. ME2 is updated as well. I'm glad ME3 works otherwise I'd feel like a total loser.

Helix.....Dead Space 2 now is totally playable, i play 15 minutes. The only light that render wrong is that blue light in doors and boxes in the floor (you broke with the foot) that render only in the left eye.
Thanks again Helix!!!!!

I am really sorry to be a pain /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Your X3 fix.
Would it be possible to increase the distance of your settings for the target icons etc so they are pushed back a little further (plus the mouse icon obviously). I think they are still a bit too near; the nose of my starter ship clips through them. If it is possible I think double the relative distance would be optimum as you rarely get that close to things.
Also, if it is a straight forward job, could you push the system stars back to the same depth as the starfield as they are rendered quite close.

As i remember target boxes are almost near unlimited depth, so I don't know about it.
Stars already at unlimited depth, so I really don't know what you're talking about.
ooo another helix ready game.
I tried looking at dead space 2 and it had so many things wrong with it. I don't think anyone else besides helix could even make that game playable in 3d let alone good. Hats off to him for testing it though. I tried increasing convergence and thought I was gonna go blind.

You wish is my command.
Oh wait, nVidia wont allow me to upload the save file! I have literally just started playing TC (first mission), I took the Argon fighter pilot route.
The starfield is perfect it is just the system's main star. The target icons seem a little too close.
I am really being quite fussy. Without the Helix fix it's a right mess and it is totally playable as it is.
Seriously, I am being really fussy. The game looks awesome.
The target icons are fine but I think pushing them out slightly further would help when you are attacking smaller objects around the 1km mark and beyond whilst making little difference to any closer object.
Here is another screeny of the sun at the start of the Terran pilot game.

Do you mean flares from the stars ?
I'll check it later.
I'm still not sure about target icons look normal to me, but I'll try to do optional depth for them later.
