multiple monitor and 3d something id like to see in r180
With the hype around Big Bang II and its multiple monitor support (does that mean 2, or more than 2?), ive been looking around for an answer that i havent been able to find anywhere:
Will it be possible to get a page flipped 3d image out of 2 or more monitors using the multiple monitor SLI support in the r180 release drivers?
Id love to have the ability to hook up 3 120hz DLP projectors to 2 (or more) SLId nvidia cards, windows running a spanned desktop across the 3, and the simulation software i use outputting 3 viewports across that ultrawide resolution. Windows can handle the res, the software can handle the viewports, but can the nvidia drivers and cards handle a synched page flipped image across 3 projectors simultaneously?
Id love to find a way to feed 3 projectors at their native res and at a high refresh rate (i believe the matrox hardware is a little limited in this regard).
Any word from nvidia as to the functionality of stereo 3d and SLI across multiple monitors?

Hi,
only one possibility is run 2 or 3 projectors in 3D stereo = usage of Matrox Dual or Triple HeadGo adapters. This simulate for PC one big monitor and then divide the big picture in 2 or 3 small parts. (use only one output of Graphcard). I use this with 2 DLP projectors, works awesome (analog, VGA Matrox DualHeadGo).
I use this in res 2048x768,85 Hz active stereo with shutterglasses.
It is necesary use of native XGA projectors, for 3D only some typs are good.-Older benq. More on www.3dflightsim.com
