Uh oh, that's not good yeah, they're probably dead
Just thought I'd check before ordering another pair... :)

I went to use my 3D vision glasses with Bullet Storm yesterday and they wouldn't turn on, the red light comes on when I plug them in to charge, but I can't get them to function with games or the testing program, no green light, no flickering lens, nothing. Pushing the power button I'd swear I get a flash of read light from the top light, but they might just be the charging light shining inside the unit.

Now they're two years old and they were left unplugged (uncharged) for about a month while I was playing some other games, so I figure they've gone to the big glasses case in the sky, but I just wanted to check with you guys for any known problems that could be causing this before I order a MK2 pair.

Any thoughts?

Hmmm... Well the battery and the USB connection check out fine, 3.77V from the battery and 4.?V from the lines into the battery when the USB cable is connected. Nothing obvious wrong the the board on the other side, at least no little scorch marks we can see. So our thought is something deeper, possible in the shutter lens section.

Right about now my keenness for the MK2 glasses kicks over my enthusiasm for finding out what is wrong with this set, so I'm going to call it a day here and find out if New Egg will deliver to Kiwiland.

Thanks for the help D-Mann11, appreciated.
