The new NVIDIA RTX 2XXX with DVI adapter !! for 3D?
Good news I think ... because the new RTX come with a Display port to DVI adapter for old monitors. That means we can continue enjoying our games on NVIDIA 3D VISION, right? What do you want to say? More and more monitors come out with 120Hz+ and nearly all of them got a Displayport - as well as any gpu you currently want to play with @3D. I've been playing with Displayport for like .. 4,5 years .. since the driver allowed 3D Vision over DP too. I guess you actually wanted to say we can play using 3D Vision on our old screens till they tend into smoke (word-wise/literally)? :P

I had some serious problems with sync using my ASUS VG278H. Not sure what is wrong and I pretty much throw in the towel as there is little troubleshooting that can be done. Just got EDID override to work but not yet flawlessly. Might have issues with HDR.

Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?

Older 3D Vision monitors required a "Dual Link DVI" connection that "need" an "active" adapter. These active adapters require additional power for the conversion, this has always been supplied by using an additional attached USB cable. This was due to early limits of the power available via Display port. These adapters cost about $100. Newer iterations of Display port have additional power available and thus can power an adapter without needing the additional USB cable. Last I checked, there were not any single connections available with a 330MHz bandwidth available. But I have not checked since last year. Note: If you find that there is not a viable single connection adapter available, be sure to look for threads of known good adapters, many have drop out issues and/or other problems.
