this is better than acer's new upcomming version. it has usb ports and it has sound in and sound out. I also doubt acers version will comw with a 3 year warranty standard!!
That's Dell's New Zealand site. It's 649 New Zealand dollars, which is about 480 US dollars.
Yes it sure is New Zealand's site. It doesn't appear to be available in the United States yet. However, I am starting to lean towards this monitor now that it has been announced. 1 Millisecond is not a very noticeable difference and Alienware is a premium name brand. :) It would be the first Alienware equipment that I will have owned. Oh, and it rotates! :D lol.
Then the only question that remains is, would you want 1 MS sec faster responce or do you want 100 cd/m2 more for 3D gaming ?
Do you notice the samsung monitor being too dark in 3d mode?

Well I myself dont have a 3d set yet, but im defently getting one I was just waiting for the acer 24'' 120hz but as this new one came along and I read how 3D vision could make your games pretty dark I was wondering what experienced people think about responce time vs cd/m2.
But dont forget, 3.49 MS responce = 3 MS and 351 cd/m2 also = 400 cd/m2 so they might be fooling us aswell. But that goes for the 2ms 300cd /m2 acer aswell. Both HD ofc.

Although comparing this to the upcoming Acer which im intrested in getting it only has some small differnces such as......
Acer is 1ms faster....... (2ms)
Alienware is 100cd/m2 brighter (400)
Alienware has Usb ports
Or am is missing the main points?
What are your opinions on this screen guys?
