So i new to this forum and i was hoping i could get some help with my new setup ... ;0)
I just recieved my LG W2363D LCD 120 Hz monitor a couple of days ago and my new GTX 580, Nvidia 3D Vison shutter classes ...
Over all im impressed with the 3D in games especially Batman and Tomb Raider Underworld ;0) ( with the ghosting in light areas )
The classes seem out of sync ( the two pictures dont fit on top of each other )
I am having ALOT of ghosting in Resident evil 5 and i mean ALOT of ghosting ( its unplayable ). I have tried ALL the settings that i could google.
Reinstalled drivers, changed USB ports, Increased / Decrease depht, 100 Hz , 110 Hz, 120 Hz and so on.
When i read on the internet that people think Resident Evil 5 is a GREAT 3D experience i start to wonder if there is somethin wrong with my setup ?
Im having Ghosting problems in all games, some worse that others. Setting it to 100 Hz helps a little but not alot ...
When i have my classes on and try to setup Resident Evil 5, i shut my left eye and there is no ghosting, then i shut me right i eye and theres alot of ghosting ?
Is this normal ...
Do i need to change some settings on my Motherboard / Bios / ( Gigabyte UD 7 X58 ) and so on, to get this 3D to work properly
Hope you can help me with this problem ...
PS. Do you all experince ghosting in games and is it normal ?
Update : Turning off Ambient Occlusion in Resident Evil 5, removes alot of the ghosting ...
Update : In Trine a Nvidia 3D ready game the classes feel out of Sync ( Two moon´s / Two tree´s / ) Im beginning to believe my classes are faulty ?

Having some level of crosstalk/ghosting is to be expected, and if you play games where there are a lot of highly contrasting objects/scenes as well as if you use higher depth levels the issue becomes more apparent. Make sure your contrast level (the setting on the monitor) is at its default settings as pushing it higher brings out more apparent ghosting. Also make sure your glasses are properly charged, because when their battery is low you can start seeing more ghosting than usual as they may be loosing the sync or switching slower.

I have been using alot of hours trying to solve this problem ;0).
About the contrast and brightness levels dont they go back to default when you enable 3D ???
They are greyd out in the screen options of the LG W2363D when 3D is enabled, so i can´t change the settings ...
Ill try to recharge my classes and see if that helps ...
Again i only have problems with ghosting/crosstalk in bright areas of games, other than that the games looks awesome in 3D ...
PS. In some games i need to to use converge, to get the two pictures to allign or else it looks like theres double ???
In trine i need to set converge to maximum or its unplayable ( thats WAY to much POP out at maximum ).
If i dont the moons in the background are double and trees and so on ?. Is this normal .. ( Trine is rated as a 3D ready game by Nvidia )
Im also getting a lot of ghosting... I had been using it with an optoma projector with zero ghosting. Im guessing its just the monitor then. Very unimpressed.

I have this monitor (the LG W2363D) and I get ghosting on the nVidia Setup Wizard for 3D. The little green hexagon and blue triangle should be visible with one or the other eye only. But I see a little of the wrong eye image always if I close an eye. I have replaced my 3D Vision Glasses and nothing has changed. I may have to return this monitor and get a replacement (although purchased 20th September 2011, ebuyer.com now reports its discontinued)

Is there anything that can be done.
Is there anything that can be done.
Though in games I prefer running it in 110Hz due to quite a lot more brightness and less ghosting.
