"According to the guys at Maximum PC Crysis 2 should receive a DirectX 11 patch today which will also unlock an advanced graphics menu in-game.

Crysis 2 already looks amazing in DX9 mode, so it'll be interesting to see how much more DX11 adds to the visuals. Thanks goes out to "N Baker" for the tip!"

Except of course it was all made up.

Is there a way to get rid of the auto-focus? Its really really annoying when the depth is turned up, and its buggy, often time engaging after you've stood still for 2 seconds. I'm afraid even if they enable 2-eyed 3d this will be left in there.

Here's my settings. They're actually pretty good, close terrain pops out of the TV and there is a lot of depth. Chainlink fences look messed up close up though. You can aim down the sites clearly without any blur. In fact blur/ghost artifacts are very minimized.

g_skipintro = 1
r_StereoDevice = 3
r_StereoMode = 1
r_StereoStrength = 1
r_StereoScreenDist = 3.9
r_StereoHudScreenDist = 0.5
r_StereoEyeDist = 0.015
r_StereoFlipEyes = 0
r_StereoOutput = 1
r_StereoNearGeoScale = 0.69
[/quote]

Great settings m8, realy makes a difference, only the guns look to big now, any way to tweak that 1?

The relative gun depth is adjusted with r_StereoNearGeoScale.

to continue with related issues here...mine is kinda the same but kinda different.

i have 3 gtx 470's (all settings maxed, 1080p, 270 drivers) and would like to play in 3D with nvidia 3d vision kit.

my experience with crysis 2 tweaks has confused and frustrated me with this situation.....

while playin with 3d vision off and SLI on i get 120+fps

while playing with 3d vision off and SLI off i get ~50fps

while playing with 3d vision on and SLI off i get ~50fps

***while playing with 3d vision on and SLI on i get ~30fps***

(obviously the last entry is my preferred setup).

i look at my gpu load and all 3 gpu's are like ~30%, is this a driver issue? ive tried previous drivers and whatnot, no help. game is updated at 1.2, no help. are there any config tweaks out there that can get the game running 120+fps in 3D via nvidia kit like its suppose to? Thanks!

No, there is nothing you can do with Crysis 2 and 3-way SLI until Nvidia fixes the driver with this game. The only thing you can do is to force TWO way SLI by forcing your third 470 as dedicated physx. Two way SLI with Crysis 2 in 3D will give you the familiar 2D type of performance.

Hang in there, I have the same results as you running QUAD SLI with Crysis 2, so you aren't alone.

If Andrew is reading this thread, this is a request for an Nvidia sanctioned workaround for the Crysis 2 3D. I played it today with the 3D Vision glasses, and between the constant autofocusing and the poor implementation of the 3D I actually got a headache. First time that has happened.

Crytex said they might do it later, & I don ' t know if it's part of their rampant web of PR or not, I never imagined this game ends up in a trainwreck like this. /pinch.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':pinch:' />

Why don't you do it? Considering that you spent $200,000 on a DX11 marketing campaign for the game. They'll listen to you long before they listen to me.

Hi

We have provided our feedback to Crytek already. It helps to have end users also express their concern over features though.

Is anyone else having a problem with the Nanosuit Menu missing it's icons when playing in 3D? When I hit my Nanosuit Menu button and the Nonsuit Menu appears, the icons are missing. I only see the arrow you use to select your Nanosuit function (such as Armor or Stealth).
