Give it a few days... my new one did the same thing, and I thought the problem was solved. Then it started doing it again after about day 3... For your sake, I hope it works, but for the resolution of the problem, I hope it starts doing it again. Best of luck! Let us know.

Are you serious? You also got a second monitor and the emitter was working but then after 3 days it would stop working after a long sleep period? Damn, now I want to hear a few saying they never had that problem.

Well i was planning to pick one of these up this weekend but after seeing all these posts and running into the issue of no stock (presumably because they've had this problem) i'm not so sure now.
Has anyone contacted BenQ for comment on this?

I want to know "if ever" (crossed-fingers) my on-the-way XL2420TX will have this problem, will I still face it if I connect the monitor to my UPS and it cuts the power to the monitor every time the computer is turned OFF? It's the way APC UPS works. In that way, there is no "idle time" technically.
