I am having issues with my BenQ XL2420TX and it's built in IR emitter.
I have 2 monitors and a television connected to my PC. The television is connected through HDMI 1.4, and both monitors are connected using DVI DL. All 3 monitors are running in 1080p. My BenQ XL2420TX is set to 120hz, the other 2 displays are set to 60hz. The BenQ monitor is the only 3D display connected to my PC.
It seems the IR emitter will only turn on if my BenQ XL2420TX is my only connected display. When I enable multiple monitors on the system the IR emitter light will not turn on during 3D applications.
Are there any known solutions to this problem? This is a huge hassle.
Edit: Forgot to mention that my BenQ monitor is set as my primary display, and my 3D monitor in the nvidia control panel.

I don't have experience with monitors with built in IR emitter.
however, the gist of IR emitter is to make display and 3D vision functionality in sync.
in 3D surround, one external IR emitter would make all three displays in sync. maybe or maybe not the built-in emitter could do the same thing (idk). once all screens are in sync, even in non-surround mode, each screen acts as independent screen, 3D application would run fine.
in windows screen resolution page, do you tick "Enable Stereoscopic settings for all supported displays"?

I don't see an option in the windows resolution settings for stereoscopic 3D.
However, my issue seems to have resolved itself. I disconnected my additional displays and reconnected them in the same configuration a few more times and eventually I did not have to disable the additional displays to turn on stereoscopic 3D. I did not change any other settings, so it's a little odd.
It's possible the issue will come back though. I have not had a lot of time to mess around with it yet. I'll reply back should I see the issue again.
