6 3D vision Computers in Close proximity We need to set up 6 3D kiosks next to each other
Hello,

I have a project currently that requires 6 PCs with 3D vision kits be installed in close proximity to each other. I am worried about the IR transmitters stepping on each other. Is there a way to lock the 3D glasses to a specific transmitter?

Yes there is. There are 3 options and 1 is what you want multiple PCs with multiple IR.

P.S. You can read the manual from nvidia site, and see for yourself

According to NVIDIA you can use Quadro cards on each computer and via G-sync you can use IR emitter on each computer giving you 6 times more coverage with the sync.

or do you specifically mean to have them separate, not hosting same sync? Sorry for confusion if so.

These would be 6 seperate computers all running different content. I downloaded and read the 3D vision manual and there was no reference to a multiple computer setup. If someone could link me to the document in question I would greatly appreciate it.

User manual here versatek http://www.nvidia.com/content/3dvision/doc...ec16_Screen.pdf
Page 16 is the part of setup where you select the environment the 3D will be operating in. You'll want option 3, "Multiple Gaming PC in a LAN gaming environment all running 3D Vision"

I suspect setting them up in an oval might be best so all the emitters are facing away from each other.
