There is an app bug which is causing this low performance. We are testing a workaround fix right now.

Great news! I hope you fix both the SLI and 3D issues..

Just a note: If you have 3D vision and want to use it for other games, there is a solution without deinstalling it:
- disable 3d vision in control panel
- stop 3d vision service "NVidia Stereoscopic 3D Driver Service"

This way I had normal performance in the temple scene, the same I got after uninstalling it. And it is much easier to reenabled it (start service, activate 3d vision).

I hope that helps someone. :)

Since I hate such complicated things to do before a game launch i've thrown a litle programm together:

It consists of two parts:
1. Launcher.bat -Just a shell script to lauch the StereoHelper.exe and the Launcher from the Witcher.
2. StereoHelper.exe This program does nothing more than run the commands "net stop "Stereo Service"" and "net start "Stereo Service"".

So the StereoHelper.exe is abel to Start and stop the "NVidia Stereoscopic 3D Driver Service". When lauched it requests admin rights to do so.

You'll have to place both files in your Witcher 2 installation directory (where the Launcher.exe resides) and point your shortcuts to the "Launcher.bat"

I includes the complete VS2010 Project so everyone can confirm that I have totaly no skill with C# xD

don't mean to resurrect an old thread, but i guess nvidia and 3 project have given up on fixing this problem? the game degrades to single digit frame rates on all indoor locations for me even though I have a GTX 570 SLI rig which runs every high end 3d game i've ever played perfectly.

A patch for Witcher 2 is due to be out any day now, which supposedly fixes this issue.
