I was having the same problem with BF1942, this being one of the main game I wanted to play in 3d, the 3d laser sight looks good, but the original crosshair wont go away. I also seem to get kicked in punkbuster servers, probably because of the 3d laser sight.. Could anybody give me any advice. Is the nvidia 3d laser sight truly the reason punkbuster is kicking me or is it something different and is there anyway of making the original crosshair disappear?

Interesting problem with Battlefield 1942. It has a profile in the native stereo driver and it looks great in 3D.
Problem is the HUD does not adjust with the separation or convergence controls - it stays constant.
The end result is even the NVIDIA lasersight does not compensate for the 3D effect, and the aim is way off.
Anyone have a profile that works or know of a way to get the aim correctly?
Thanks in advance,
Chopper

I am stilling having a problem, though.
I get an occasional flash in the game every few seconds - like a gamma setting jumped 20 points for an instant, or the frames were out of sync.
Anyone have this problem? Workaround?

I discovered that my X3D activator was not on, and that caused the flashing.
HOWEVER, that created a NEW problem.
My lasersight no longer works in Battlefield 1942.
Surprisingly, the crosshair in first person worked great, but as soon as I got into a tank, the whole HUD was messed up.
So, I was able to correct it perfectly with F5-F6, but then my cross-hair gets screwed up again.
Does anyone out there have good registry settings I can put it the BF1942 profile to get it working properly with a lasersight?
I tried to find the solution on stereo forums on another site, but the solutions were point to JPG files no longer online....grrr!
