Touch screen 3D ready monitor

Finally lenovo coming up with a seemingly good system offering multi touch screen display with full HD and it's 3D vision ready; also offering an air mouse.

I wonder is there any touch screen full HD 3D ready monitor available in market? Above link refers to a complete system and not just monitor.

Link doesn't work.

I can't imagine why any company would do this. The touch-screen market is pretty small, as is the 3D market. You wouldn't want to use both technologies at the same time so you would only be able to sell to people who use their touch screen tech by day and 3D by night. I suspect you would saturate the market after selling 100 monitors!

Seems like a bad idea to me but whatever floats ur boat. Looking at a screen thats smeared with fingerprints + 3d seems like a bad idea.

Its a shame no one could answer the original question put by zam.
I too would be real interested in knowing if there was a monitor that can do both 3D and touch screen.
I dont care about finger prints on my screen - I have a cloth or tissues if needed :-)

Does anone know of a monitor that is both touch screen and 3D ??
thanks heaps

There is no reason why a screen couldn't do both. In fact there are packs that would enable your current 3d screens to be touch screens. /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Thanks heaps - never thought of looking for that.
I shall start googling for some kind of pack to enable touch screen on my Alienware 3d monitor . . . unless you have some recommendations?
thanks again

Would still be nice to have them all in one. The reason I found this thread was because I searched for "3d hd touchscreen monitor".

With 3D user interfaces coming out open source and with touchscreen controls all hooked into 3d aware session managers, like compiz for example; you've got an interesting workspace. Gesture through your library, or an one online, pick your film/music/whatever and pop it out full screen. If it also happens to be a 3D item, so much the better.

I'd buy one :-)

I can't help you unfortunatly. It's been a while since I was looking into one. One thing you want to be aware is you want all the buttons you press to be at screen depth and not 'within'the screen otherwise you could very easily poke a hole in your screen.

Roger that - I hear what you are saying.
If I come across something that will give the touch screen I will post it here :-)
