Hi Helifax, I have rolled back to 350.12 and still can't get it to work.
Just to clarify that when the game loads 3D is enabled on the emitter and the monitor, and the on screen message about 3D Vision Ready etc appears. The side by side image appears when I press Ctrl+T, which should be turning 3D off right? Weird.
Is there any chance you could upload or send me your working wrapper ini and KOTOR ini files so that I can see what is going wrong? If not, could I upload or send you mine to review? Thanks.
So basically it works correctly in 3D ? but when switching to 2D you see the side-by-side ? If this is the case then is working as intended and this is not a bug. Some people are using the wrapper like this to feed in side-by-side image in their TVs/Projectors, etc.
Is this the problem you are referring to? I don't understand why this troubles you so much? The idea is to play the game in 3D not in 2D (for that remove the wrapper).

I can't see any 3D image when I load the game. The emitter, monitor and on screen message confirm that 3D is working, but there is no 3D image. I pressed Ctrl+T to switch to 2D, then go back to 3D to see if that would resolve the issue. I just added the fact it shows side by side when I switch to 2D because I thought that any additional info would be useful. It's good that behaviour is expected. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks a lot for your input. Will try that as soon as I can. Never played Amnesia since the graphics seemed bad at the time it was launched but I love suspense and horror and in 3D it should be a great experience.
One side question: are you looking foward for the HTC Vive VR? What are your thoughts on the subsject and have you tried it yet?
I am deeply interested, personally. I will be a first adopter cause this is probably what will make me interested in PC gaming again. :)

That is very strange I will double check once I get home and see if I can replicate the issue. I know I tried it out a couple of months ago and it worked perfectly fine. But, things might have changed...
What do you see exactly when you are in 3D Mode? Do you see a 2D image or do you still see the side-by-side image? Did you try to increase the depth or change the convergence via the nvidia keys ?

I see a 2D image with a slight interlaced effect (interlacing might just be my imagination!). I have tried to change the depth with Ctrl + F4/ Ctrl + F3, and I can see the bar going up and down, it has no effect though, the image is definitely 2D. I can send you my KOTOR ini and wrapper ini for you to see if they can you recreate the issue. That should let us know if it is some problem with my system setup. I can also do a few screenshots to give you some context. All other games I have tried work correctly (SWTOR, Dragon Age etc).
Again, many thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated.

Do you get any 3D? (The menus and etc should have a huge separation now).
EDIT:
You are using the wrapper for the GAME and NOT the generic one?

Yes, the option is somehow new:)
In Legacy OGL the principle was this:
- Perspective Projection for game world
- Orthographic projection for UI.
That option allows you to specify a stereo correction for the orthographic Proj. Now in some games it works in others it doesn't. EX: Doom3 with MODS which adds a ton of post processing is relying on creating the screen quads using orthographic projections. Adding a stereo correction will break SSAO, Bloom, etc. On default Doom3 everything works correctly... so be careful with it;))

Sorry my poor english, I can not understand well enough the videos of the tutorial. I am interested on playing the great classic "Blade of Darkeness" (using the opengl raster of the game) with Nvidia 3D Vision. If I copy the two "OpenglL3DVision - v3.19/x86/Release" files (3dvisionwrapper.ini and opengl32.dll) on the executable folder of the game, am I supposed to play the game with 3D?

Hi,
I haven't checked the game yet...but based on what I found on the net, the game is pretty old ...2001 to be more exact...
You can try the following:
- After you drop the files next to the exe
- Open 3dvisionwrapper.ini
- Change "LegacyMode = false" to "LegacyMode = true"
- Launch the game as ADMINISTRATOR.
See if this works;))
Let me know;)
Cheers!
No, you are fine;) Just be sure to overwrite any file from the game's wrapper with the ones that you already unpacked from the general version;) You should be fine;)
If you still have issue let me know;) Someone posted above that he had issues with KOTOR: the emitter was on but still side-by-side. This might be a bug in the latest drivers. If this happens try the 350.12 drivers and see if that still happens, as the nvidia drivers are plagued by bugs lately and 3D Vision is among the last on their list..:(

I tried the DK2 a while ago... wasn't impressed :(
I still can't find anything that beast 3D Vision Surround immersion-wise. I am reserved about VR... I remember people complaining about wearing 3d-glasses, but they are OK with wearing a 2Kg helmet ? :)) Plus VR works nice with 1st-person games... I can't imagine myself playing the Witcher 3/Dragon Age Inquisition for example in VR as it "makes no sense"...but it's absolutely gorgeous in 3D Surround and wouldn't exchange it for anything;))
Currently these are my thoughts on the subject;))

Does not work with Blade of Darkness (using opengl raster). I have just put x86/release/the2files with the blade.exe and change LegacyMode = true, and start the game as administrator, but the game crashes at start. I have tried with x64 folder content too, and the game starts but only 2D. I don't know if I can do anything else, or I have to desist with this game.

Will keep you updated:)
The ini file should look like this:
All the files should be next to the exe. file, but I guess this is already the case as you see the monitor switching to 3D.
What happens if you change this line in the ini file to:
Do you get any 3D? (The menus and etc should have a huge separation now).
EDIT:
You are using the wrapper for the GAME and NOT the generic one?
