Im trying to get the laser sight to work on COD 4 and it does not display. I cycle the laser sight with the shortcut key and it cyces on or off but even when on I don't get the 3D laser sight. It works fine with other games. Anyone have any idea why it's not working?

In COD4 the 3d Laser sight is built into the game. take the glasses and look at the crosshair. When the 3d laser sight is off there is one crosshair at screen depth, when the 3d laser sight is on you will have two crosshairs (without the glasses on). You are unable change the crosshair type .

Your right. Still one big issue I have is that when you switch to zoom in view or when using the sniper gun you don't get a 3D laser sight anymore. It makes the sniping parts in the game very annoying. I also like the recticle view with the red laser to do precise targeting and agin it doesn't do it. Almost makes the game unplayable in 3D. Very disapointing. I hope Modern Warfare 2 has better support.

The crosshair vanishes in a down sight view and yes Snipping is hard becausse the scope is at Screen Depth and the depth of the target is way behind the screen (especially if you are playing with 50% + s3d depth) Using a precise crosshair other than the ingame crosshair gives the user an unfiar advantage. especially in MP
