Windows 7 - some questions
Hi!

First of all please excuse my poor english ;)

I just bought the glasses and the samsung 120Hz-Monitor and while waiting for the delivery-boy, I´m about to getting my system ready for action.
I´m using Windows 7 and have a few questions:

1.) which 3D driver-version works best under Win 7?

2.) which graphiccard-driver works fine (I´m using two 8800GTS 640MB)?

3.) I read that there might be problems if more than one Monitor is attached and I´m using 3! I really hope I don´t have to detach 2 of them?

4.) Some tips in advance what to do and what better not from other Win7-Users?

Thanks a lot!

the latest driver is working fine (1.10)
and the multi-display bug should be fixed in this driver. I never experience it myself, because i switched to win7 just recently and used 1.10 from the start. Dont have problems with my 2nd display.

Post your results and problems if you have any.[/quote]

Here are my results:
Driver Version: 190.38
Graphic Cards: 2x GF8800GTS/640MB-Version (SLI not active)
Windows 7 RC-64Bit
3 Screens:
Main Samsung Syncmaster 244T 24" @ 1920x1200
Left Samsung Syncmaster 226BW 22" @ 1680x1050
Right Samsung Syncmaster 2233RZ 22" @ 1680x1050

Almost no problems at all! BUT I have to use the Windows Tool to set up the multiple display-configuration, because the NVidia Control-Panel produces errors while switching the main screen: The 2233RZ just goes black and I have to click on one of the other screens somewhere on the desktop to reactivate it. Little strange?!? And sometimes the glasses don´t work after starting a game. Then I have to minimize the Game with Alt-Tab and maximize it again to activate the glasses.

But except from that, everything works just fine.

So far it seems to be only Left 4 Dead and Drakensang. But it´s hard to tell because it´s not happen very often, maybe 1 of 10 times I start these games.

But I got a new problem: The Vision Photo Viewer won´t show me any pictures in 3D! Every time I try the application goes fullscreen, then the screen stays black for about 3-5 seconds and then jumps back to desktop mode :( No Idea what´s wrong there?! Curios thing: After I installed the drivers the slide show automatically appears without any problems.

@Vradovic
Sorry, I have no idea what might be wrong with your system. All I can think of is that maybe your settings to high, but I´m pretty sure you did check that?!

Hi everybody,

I got a similar problem: "The ...Nvidia Stereo Player... won´t show me any vido in 3D! Every time I try the application goes fullscreen, then the screen stays black for about 3-5 seconds and then jumps back to desktop mode :( No Idea what´s wrong there?! Curios thing: After I installed the drivers the slide show automatically appears without any problems."
Sorry for almost exact quotation but it looks very familiar to me. It worked at the beginning but then fighting blinking I installed latest drivers and now Stereo Player doesnt work in 3D. BTW The Vision Photo Viewer works perfect in 3D (???)
Can Nvidia answer these questions?

I´ve found the problem and sort of a solution for my problem that the photo viewer won´t show 3D.

The problem: Even if I have disabled both other monitors (I have three) somehow the second 22"-Screen goes active again when I try to go fullscreen in photo viewer. And even more weird: The 24"-Screen disappears completly?!? No idea whats going on there :(

Solution: After the first tryout to use the 3D-Photo Viewer I have to disable the second Monitor again (while the third is still gone until restart) and then I´m finally able to see 3D-Pictures.

So....it seems there is still a lot to do until multiple displays are well supported with 3D-Vision ;) But HELL, I love these new glasses *g*
