Hey Guys,
I have a rather unique problem and it is stemming from nThusim. This is a warping software for a curved surface screen.. Well the problem is that 3D Vision does not fully work, I get the left image to show but no right image and the green light is lit..
that is only when I run a DX9 game and in Fullscreen. If I run the game in Windowed fullscreen 3D Kicks in immediately.. Now the funny thing is I had it working for about a month and then yesterday it just stopeed working..
I figured just some gremlins so I opted to do a full image restore to see if that would correct it which it did not.. I am stumped to why 3D does not fully kick in and it did before..
I did not do any video card update and am running same as when it did work before but it don't now.. sys specs are in the sig and this is really weird as to why it will not work and it did work before??

Well it is any DX9 game and only when I try and run in FullScreen.. lets use SWTOR as an example. when I run SWTOR in Fullscreen I only get the left image.. If I run it in Windowed fullscreen 3D Vision works as it should..
I am running 3072x768 @ 120Hz on desktop and ingame..

Unfortunately, I do not have surround. If I were you, I'd change the title to "3D Vision Surround problem", so that you might get more responses. Very few actually know what nThusim is.
I doubt it's related to nThusim or have you confirmed that it is by disabling it?
My recommendation is to send Helifax a PM with a list of games that he could try if he has any of them on his surround to let you know if he has the same issue. (I hope he doesn't mind me saying so, lol)

yes when I turn off nthusim 3d surround works. but like I said what is weird it halfway works. when in Fullscreen and in SWTOR I get the left image to show just the right side is omitted.. but when I run Windowed fullscreen it works no problems..

Hi All,
I need a favor from anyone who uses a 3D surround setup.. What I would like you to do is Download and install nThusim and run it and see if your 3D works ingame in Fullscreen mode..
Even if you don't have a curved screen nThusim will still warp the screen.. so make the warp really off so you know it is warping then go ingame and see if S3D works in fullscreen mode..
http://www.forums.nthusim.com/page.php?p=store
Get nThusim Plus as it has a free trial where it runs for 10 minutes..

Hi There,
I tried nthusim just now but it wouldn't kick in for me other than in configuration mode. Not sure why it's not working now because I remember it working when I tried it a couple years ago, maybe it's a newer nvidia driver issue causing problems? I personally use http://www.fly.elise-ng.net/immersivedisplaypro for a triple projector sim rig using 3 acer 5360's and that works for 90% of sims/games I've tried including recent dx11 games like DA Inquisition, GTAV, COD AW & Ghosts and Mad Max and it is compatible with most community shader fixes like the one they just did for Mad Max (awesome job on that guys!) It also has the ability to warp/blend the desktop which is nice. In a couple games I had an issue where it would apply the blend to one eye but not the other in fullscreen like BF3 and GRID Autosport (works for DIRT2&3 though), and it didn't work for BF4 or Tomb Raider 2013 in full screen but did in borderless window with no 3d so I think any warping/blending method will have some peculiar exceptions. Anyway you could try the demo of that (i think it just overlays a demo watermark in demo mode) and see if you have the same issues to try and narrow it down to see if it's your system or the warping software.

Well I have a similar product SimPitWarp.. It works but in SWTOR I can NOT run Fullscreen.. F4 BMS 4.32 works fine tho as does DCSWorld 1.2.16.. I believe something is going on with Nthusim as it seems not to be a stable program maybe some insider doings??

If it auto-updates they could have pushed out something that broke SWTOR support or perhaps it was a SWTOR update, that would explain why an image restore wouldn't work as the game always has to be the latest version to play online. Also curious what driver version are you using for 3072x768? After 320.49 that resolution no longer appears as an option for me, just 3840x720 so I'm just curious if it's my hardware or the if drivers stopped supporting that for everyone. Thanks.

I am using 355.82 but the Native rez of my Projectors is 1024x768.. what is the native res of your monitors??
Well I am unsure what broke but simpit warp will not work in fullscreen either.. :(
Another game that does not work is F4 BMS... I get the left image to show but not both
native res is 1280x720 for my acer 5360 projectors but they can do 1024x768 in 120hz 3d mode as well and I used to be able to select 3072x768 as a surround option up through drivers 320.49 which was nice for the few games incompatible with edgeblending. It was more of an issue before immersive display pro had dx11 support but I was still curious why that disappeared as an option in the driver control panel. Good luck hunting down your issue anyway, nothing more maddening than something working one day and not the next without any obvious changes made. Been through that a few times too.

nThusim just warps/blends and has nothing to do with demuxing AFAIK.
