quadro 3800+geforce 9400 for dual monitor support
i have a workstation comprised of a quadro 3800 and a geforce 9400.
why the 9400?
i cannot get the 3800 to support 3d vision running in dual screen (multi monitor) setup, .
i use the 9400 as a "head" for the second monitor.
it works, i can get dual monitor with 3d vision running on the 3800 and the 9400 as the other.
its a hack and has its drawbacks, mainly i cant get the 3dsmax performance driver to work and so (or also) no opengl support for 3dsmax.
any brave souls doing the same with better results?
am i "doing it wrong"? any other recommendations? switch to geforces?
do i need/should use two qaudro's in SLI to get dual screen 3d vision support (note- i only need the 3d support on one monitor) ?
