Blu-Ray 3d locked screen depth? On PC w/Nvidia 3d 120hz and PowerDvD10
I just downloaded Cyberlink PowerDVD 10 Ultra to go with my NVIDIA MSI Geforce 460 Hawk GPU and Asus VG236H 120hz monitor, testing with my Blu-Ray 3d :Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs.
I have gotten the 3d effects to work with only a little tweaking early on. My concern is that I cannot adjust the depth of field. The software shows that option but seems only enabled during 2d content when it tries to generate pretend 3d. One post seems to indicate that ALL Blu-Ray 3d content is at a fixed depth (around 15%? /unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ) and cannot be altered even with GPU playback?! Can anyone share experience around this. I am somewhat dissapointed if 15% is the maximum since I have been enjoying superb gaming with depth at 30% and higher.

A 3D-movie consists of two prerecorded viewing angles - one for the left and one for the right eye. Depth can't be changed like in games where you can adjust this viewing angles to get more depth.
A movie is not a live-3D-scene.
