GeDoSaTo for me has problems in 3D on certain resolutions. Try switching the resolution... unfortunately only 1 of the 16:9 resolutions I used worked...

No dynamic shadows in a 2014 game sounds pretty rough. Especially a game that's supposed to have such a strong atmosphere. Think I'll wait for an eventual fix.

Yeah, I'll wait/hope for a fix too (and to finish the first one). On an unrelated note, I usually click the "2 hours ago" link to go to the latest post on most threads. Is it only me, or does that not work on this particular thread?

It happens to me a lot. for Maybe 1 in 10, or 1 in 20 threads. You click the "x hours ago", and it just takes you back to the forum

Yeah, annoying. Happens because of the freakin' spammers that put bogus comments in threads that are deleted. That somehow damages the 'newest item'.

Steam tells me I've logged almost 60 hours in this now, and 99% of that has been in 3D. If you're waiting for a fix you are missing out. You won't care about the 'dynamic shadows' 1 bit, and frankly it looks fantastic. There's the odd anomaly but that's literally just specific rooms e.g. the first Giant boss battle. I can't play the game in 2D at all now - it's just too hard to judge distances. When it is a dark area the 3D makes it so much more atmospheric. It looks as good as the first game and more. I'm using the GeDoSaTo tool too but not bothering with the superscaling as I won't notice that in 3D. Cursor off. Depth of field off. Oh and haven't been banned. See you in Drangleic.

For those with capable PC's, I recommend you try 3D with ENB. It's a real beauty.

Finished the game twice now, all in 3D, 100+ hours.

Been playing the game on my new 3d setup. It looks mostly great, but as mentioned previously, the shadows are totally wrong. I'm on a GTX 770, playing with GeDoSaTo downsampling from 2560, and only get 60% usage on the GPU. Think i'll wait for a fix though, as turning shadows off changes the look of the game extensively.

Shadows work with torches and bonfires and everything else works with all bosses.. Been having a great time in 3D!

Quick question - does Tridef work with my Asus VG236HE? (a.k.a. VG236H)
