Oh, and would there any chance of a method to prevent the red/blue lighting glitches without losing the stereoscopic crosshair? The red/blue lighting thing is pretty much constant for me. Alt tabbing fixes it for a minute or two at most.

I've not found a way no, sorry. It is a pain in the butt, but I've got used to Alt-tabbing now. It resets (i.e. re-screws up) after cut scenes (say with one of the guardians turning up) or going into a shop and doing something. These kind of Alt-tab things are lower level driver issues, and not shader related I don't think, so not sure it will ever be fixable. That being said, it dawns on me I have not tried playing the game in normal 3D without the fix and seeing if the red/blue separation occurs - if it does not, then perhaps the fix is causing it... Considering though that this game has fundamental issues with nvidia profiles and with non-SLI, I would guess the red-blue thing is all wrapped up in the same general mess. This is unfortunate because the red-blue bug can cause confusion by showing the towers the wrong colour - for example I was systematically 'capturing' the towers which turns them from red-blue, but after the cut-scene on the top the bug kicks in and showed all my blue towers as red, so I kept flying off back to them thinking I needed to capture them, only to find that I had already done it...

For the red/blue thing, if you set the constant x=0 in the d3dx.ini file, that will move the crosshair back to screen depth, but fix the tattoos and red/blue problem.
It might be possible to mod the crosshair with other tools. I haven't tried this:
https://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/threads/saintshud-hud-and-camera-tweaks-hints-disabled.4368/
but that is one of the bigger game mods.
If you can somehow remove the crosshair altogether, I did also find that the NVidia laser would work in the game, at least to keep the crosshair at depth (didn't seem to actually follow depth, but stays deep like having x=0.8.)
Also, maybe Tsaebeht can find the texture map and zero out the crosshair. I know that there are a lot of unpacking tools available for SR games.

No worries, thanks for the suggestions. I might sign up to that forum and ask the guy if there's an easy way to remove the crosshair.
Any thoughts on the reflections?
That was Eldritch where TsaebehT hex edited the crosshair out.

If you don't have performance problems, running in High lighting with SR2 profile is probably a better experience for you.

I can run it at playable framerates with lighting on High, but I'd rather take the smoother framerate of Low. Even on Low, performance still dips a bit here and there. I don't see this in 2d, so I'm assuming it's my graphics cards, though I guess it could be my CPU (i5 @3.2ghz). Should probably upgrade that in the next few months.
As for the reflections, I see the same result if I don't disable 3d. To clarify, I disable it after launching the game, and enable once I've loaded my save.
Oh, and SweetFX?
Sorry to bombard you with questions, these are all fairly minor issues with an otherwise great fix.

If you are using the null profile and reflections don't work (they don't work for me either, the nvapi log file told me the set square mode operation failed), you can set the "y" parameter in the Migoto settings file to "-1" and this mostly fixes them. It's not quite correct though (like it is for the SR2 profile based fix) since the reflections tend to turn on and off a bit depending on angle. It's not massively bad, but it bothers me enough so that I prefer the SR2 profile fix version (despite performance drop).

You should have a section toward the bottom in the d3dx.ini file like:
; ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
; Constants to pass directly to shaders as IniParams
; ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[Constants]
x = 0.8 //HUD depth, 0.8=in screen, 0=screen depth, -0.2=popout
y = 0.05 //reflection correction
z = 0 //Unused
w = 0 //Unused
If you don't have that, something is busted with your installation.
I don't know about SweetFX. I think that should still work here, since there is no dxgi conflict with this build. If you aren't getting it to load, set
calls=1
debug=1
in the .ini and let me see the log file.

Ah, I was searching for y=, not y =.
This has cleared up my issues with lighting, tattoos and most reflections. Some are still completely broken, but the rest just render flat on the pavement. Definitely a big improvement.
As for sweetfx, turns out the profile I was using just had a nonstandard key set to toggle. So it was on, I just couldn't tell because the effect was subtle and the normal toggle key did nothing.
It's a shame these tweaks put the HUD at screen depth, but I'd rather just deal with that.

How is this game's shape now?
- Does it work in true 3D on a single card? I have no plans for SLI.
- Is it possible to maintain stable rock-solid 60fps in 3D at any PC?
blah blah blah:
I tried this game today, but 2500K OCed to 4,4GHz (RAM only 1600 CL9) + GTX760 was not enought to maintaing 60fps even at the lowest settings. No matter if I wanted 120fps in 2D or 60fps in 3D. Sometimes it holds 60 or 120, but it's very often dropping below that.
I tried only fake 3D mode, not tried the fix yet, because of the last minutes of free weekend on Steam, I wanted to see the game at all.
Looks like a fun game, I laughed a little already and I just went through first 30 minutes of the game.
And now I don't know if I should wait or not. Hope it's not requiring CPU from year 2020 to maintain stable framerate of 60 or 120fps.
Now I wonder if I should buy the game now or wait for a better GPU or CPU. If waiting means stable 60/120fps then I'd choose to postpone playing SRIV. It's not like I don't have anything else to play :)

No, our Fix does not work on single card, sorry :-(
Performance wise, in places (large draw distances when flying for example) the game runs like a 3-legged dog, even on my setup (see my sig.). On average though it runs really. If you are struggling in 2D or using CM, you will have issues with our full 3D fix. That 760 of yours is a little under powered for this game. If you are not interested in SLI, then a 980 is your best bet.

Thanx for the quick answer. :)
Too bad it's SLI only, I won't have SLI ever.
About that performance prediction though:
- our CPUs aren't the best even now, and just a little over a year from now, we might see a CPU faster more than 20% than your 3570K. If it's a CPU issue, then maybe it will be enough, I'd like to have textures and geometry on high settings, everything else could be on lowest (shadows: low instead of OFF would be welcome)
- I'd like to know about 120Hz 2D or 60fps fake 3D on any card. If it's possible on the fastest card that exists now, maybe it would be wise to wait. In 2016 cards like GTX980 might be hugely discounted, after HBM memory cards hit the market.

To be honest, I can't remember if this game is CPU bound or not, but when the frame rates drop to 25, like they sometimes do for me, a 20% increase in CPU won't make much difference. Both our CPUs running at the clocks they are (4.4GHz and 4.5GHz) still compete with the best even now so I would not focus on that as a priority unless you see CPU usage maxing out - which I never do in any game, ever, it's always my graphics cards that get crippled first.
