Is this problem only with the "first thousands of users" as you wrote?
Or only with the Samsung 2233RZ?
As i do not have this problem on our Samsung plasma with our new 3D vision system!
Maybe you can get a warranty replacement as it does not work properly?
Yes that is what I was saying. The old kits are faulty and NVIDIA won't admit it.
My kit for example came with 1.07 CD driver version which is very old.
And again I say I can not believe that everyone else kit is working 100% with the 2233RZ and few others(like us) don't.
For now I still wait for my kit to come from warranty. Maybe I will get a new one..hopefully
Yesterday I got answer from warranty.
The glasses are ok, that's what they say.
I will send the monitor today hope we finally find out where is the problem
What problem are you getting in Vista and 7 (you say it's different?)
That's interesting indeed!
Sorry it took so long to reply, but i've been really busy lately. As i said before, i got two different problems in windows vista and windows 7.
When i am in windows 7, i got the "normal" problem that many people have, i got the ghosting on the top of the screen, most likely due to some lack of syncronization on the shutters.
In windows vista i got a tottaly different problem, that is harder to explain, but i'll try again: the glasses work good for let's say 1 second, then they stop working for 1/5 of a second, then ther work for 1 second again, then stop working for 1/5 again, ...., always like this. When i say they stop working, i mean that both shutters open at the same time for that 1/5 of a second. It's like as f the glasses totally stop working for that bit and then start again. But in the seconds where they are working the syncronization seems to be perfect (it's hard to evaluate because it's so fast). These timings of 1 second and 1/5 of a second seem to change a bit each time i try it, but on each use they seem to be more or less constant.

I got the same problem like yours but it's a driver issue...also try to change the depth or convergence.
Today I will be receiving my kit after 1 month from warranty. The problem is guys from the shop say there is no ghosting or any problem at the top of the screen and that the image is clear in games and even in the 3DVision test :| ...crap
This is getting very strange I will try to check my power plug or something and install on a quadro see if still persists.

Great idea! This along with sync timing adjustment would go a long way to resolving most ghosting problems.

I have a 21" CRT and 8800 gts Vista 32 and I get ghosting some, but ghosting in Far Cry 2 is not very noticeable outdoors. Overall it's breathtaking, but the ghosting is annoying and I can see it scaring potential/future customers away from these or newer products like it.

I have to agree, most everyone I show on my Sammy Monitor and 50" all give the same response....
"Thats cool but I'm gonna get nauseous" (overacting of course) but shows me the mentality most people have going into this unless your 3dgeeks like us. Lets just all hope Hollywoods recent hype since RealDs formation 4 years ago will speed all this up, Hopefully most all can be corrected through software and drivers. But sadly even the best of the best cinema setups still have to struggle with ghosting, an inherent bug in 3D

I don't know anyone in person that has complained about the 3D in the movie theater though aside from saying their eyes need to adjust or they think it gave them a headache (which usually is probably just something to blame their headache on :P ). I've yet to try this 3D home on a big screen, but I'm hoping to get a projector and another pair of glasses for the wife. :)

I only get ghosting when I adjust the convergence incorrectly. I now get no ghosting with images popping out of the screen toward me in Left 4 Dead. Call of Duty: World at War was also with no ghosting, but I didn't play with it very much and had little depth.

I seem to have the opposite issue of most with my 50" sammy... Dark games (Batman, L4D) have the worst ghosting, its bright games and scenes that have 0 ghosting for me. I'm having to crank my brightness levels to near 100% to get rid of ghosting. I keep hearing most complain about the bright scenes and that dark is better???

DLP-TV/Projectors have no ghosting with shutter glasses, as nvidia support have said to me. There is other problem with dlp - different color tones for different eyes, wich can be solved with using 3-chip DLPs.
