I have my 3d vision since yesterday and loving it so far- right now it adds a lot of depth to games and figrures look more realistic
i tested it with l4dead, mafia 2, and fallout 3
i like. But what really impressed me and got me hooked was the testpicture from nvidia. i was looking at the letters and thought nice effect
and suddenly that nvidia sign flew out of the screen right in my face
i instanctlivy tryed to touch it :) That was awesome- i haven´t seen anything similiar in any of the games instead of getting things out of the screen it seem that it gets them more deeper in the screen
what is fine but i imagine now things flying at me or some monster sticking out his ugly face out of my screen.
So my question is- are there games that actually support this effect?
Or do i just have to fool around a little with the settings to get that effect? And what settings.

All you have to do is enable advanced in-game settings from set keyboard shortcuts in the nvidia control panel, then increase convergence until everything is right in your face all the time, scratching your eyeballs out.

Like he said but make sure you save the configuration once you are done so you dont have to reset the popout next time you play.
I think its F5 by default. (one of the F keys definitely :) )
Play about with your 'Convergence' settings for a 3rd person action game like Avatar or Batman AA and your character will have some really nice popout.

YES, Convergence is key. I love popout as well. I adjust ALL my games to have some popout. Use the advanced settings in the control panel to set your keyboard shortcuts. Sadly, mafia 2 has convergence locked so no go there. But I see you play L4D. Adjust convergence till your gun is about halfway out of the screen and blood and zombie parts will be flying onto your desk in no time! :)
MOST games are completely adjustable. Just experiment to see what you like. It really makes a huge difference!
Ya know, Nvidia should really be more clear on how to do these things, as there is no mention of convergence adjustment in any of the kit's instructions and stuff.

I think many people are a bit mislead and disappointed when they buy 3D monitor, as there's not much pop-out as they expect to see.
However, with projectors, etc.. which are standing more far from you (than monitor) things do change a bit.
