Sweet! I already use most of these for bluray playback. Thanks.
Now here is the tricky question...
Do you guys think any of these will support DLPs checkerboard 3D? I really don't think watching 3D blurays on a 22 inch samsung monitor will be a great experience when I have a 67 inch sammy DLP sitting next to it... :)

Forgive my ignorance but what is the difference between my DLP 3D setup and an LCD one. I thought they were the same. I am asking because I am thinking of getting rid of my PS3 and buy a Blu Ray player for my PC. Is that a bad idea?

Samsung DLP TVs (mitsubishi ones too) use a checkerboard format for 3D.
This explains how it works - http://mtbs3d.com/gallery/albums/S3DHARDWA.../dlpchecker.jpg
Basically it doesn't need or use HDMI 1.4 since it still does 1080p @ 60hz. It just cuts the resolution in half and shows 720p image to each eye @ 60hz. Its a very smart and efficient way of doing 3D...and results speak for themselves.
As far as getting rid of PS3 and going bluray on the PC... that may be the only way to go for you to watch 3D blurays. I don't think PS3 bluray playback (or any standalone bluray player) will support DLP checkerboard pattern. They will only work with TVs that have HDMI 1.4 connection... But using Nvidia 3D vision with a PC bluray software may still work...at least I am trying to find out if it will with this thread.
PS3 still may play 3D games on DLP TV's using checkerboard but I am 99% sure it won't play 3D blurays.
Apparently there is a box form Mitsubishi in the works which will allow stand alone bluray players to play 3D movies on DLP TV's but you bet it will cost $200+

Careful--PS3 will have an update to play 3D Blurays and we don't know yet if it will do checkerboard or not. And PS3 is only HDMI 1.3 obviously.

cant they just drop the resolution of Blueray plack back on the PS3 to do 3d play back..
For some reason i can se like 576p blueray 3d playback on the PS3 being a headline on Digg.. and alot of ROFL happening

haha. they don't need to do that actually... They can send 1080p signal to the TV. The TV will take care of the rest as long as the signal is at 60 hz.
There is a chance of 3D blurays working with DLPs actually since HDMI 1.4 only specifies that displays support the frame packing 3D formats at either 720p@60 or 1080p@24. DLPs can do the first option... So the HDMI 1.3 devices like PS3 and some other bluray players which are getting the update may be compatible.
I wish this misterious PS3/Bluray players update would come out already...

Sorry is this is already been asked...I've been away from 3D for a few weeks.
