Time for a new list ?
I'm referring to bo3b's Best Games in 3D Vision list. It was started Dec 2013, so being that it was three years ago, perhaps we could get a new one? https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/660162/ aka the Please Vote on which games to play first thread http://lists.bo3b.net/s3d/index.php Obvious games missing are Witcher 3, Mad Max, Doom, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Alien Isolation, Dragon Age Inquisition, Far Cry 4, Elite dangerous, Project Cars and many others. Perhaps it could be put on Helixblog for more exposure? With a link to the old list?

That old list always struck me as a bit of a popularity contest of the games themselves. I personally had a lot of problems with Skyrim working correctly in 3d as well as just simply not thinking it was a very good game. I also play both Diablo 3 and Path of Exile and consider POE to be a much better game in 3d as well as having the best toyification i have ever seen, and it works right out of the box. (diablo 3 doesn't really) Tastes in gaming are to a certain degree subjective but yeah.... I feel games with the marketing budget or riding off the coattails of a developers previous successes tend to scew these sort of polls. I guess my question is this. Would this list be the best Games that happen to work in 3d vision. Or the games with the best 3d vision support/effect/ experience?

It would be whatever game a person would want to vote for, for whatever reason. I do not think that it would be possible to filter the votes by any specifics. Of course the games would have to be playable in 3D. Some people like hack and slash games, some hate them. The same for SIMs, RTS, RPG, FPS...the list goes on and on. It would simply be a sampling of what the majority liked and something to look at if you are undecided on what to play next or are new to 3D Vision.

If someone makes a new list, it should be about games with the most impressive change when they go from 2D to 3D. Ori and the Blind Forest would get my vote as the best 2D platformer in 3D ever. It's weird how great it is (depth in environment layers, effects... and everything is placed in a way that makes sense), considering that most probably its developers didn't think about 3D when they made it. Also, the cutscenes are in real time. In 2D, I can't appreciate the scenery even by 40%. For polygonal games, I would vote for Dark Souls. There are lots of places with great views, and fighting is a lot easier in 3D (weapon range is obvious just by looking. Artorias? Easy). However, it is a "coincidence" that those two games are from my favorite genres and also some of my favorite games of all time. But Zelda OOT is my favorite game and I don't say that it has the best 2D->3D transition :p. Obviously the list can't be perfectly filtered for the use I said, but at least stating its goal before people vote could get better results.

I've no idea, I do not play it. I just mentioned it because I know that Andysonofbob had fixed it at one point and several users said it was good game. Sorry if the post misled you.

you're a gent ! My comment was mostly intended to remind the good work that had done Andysonofbob and the difficulties he had encountered to finish the fix . On the list, I would add Dark Souls 3 (thx to helifax) and Rocket League (thx to 4everAwake) , two games whose gameplay benefits greatly from the 3d

These lists usually just wind up being the prom queens of 3D but they're fun nonetheless... like Rocket League would never make to the #1 spot but it is without a doubt the best example I can think of where 3D actually enhances the gameplay, you can actually pinpoint the ball in 3D space. The only other types of games I can think of would be 3D platformers, not many, and racing games but even so Rocket League definitely takes the cake... Hell I haven't even gotten around to playing the majority of the last list... Lol. :) edit:I haven't played Dark Souls in 3D yet but their original tough as nails dungeon crawler King's Field would definitely benefit from being able to judge distances from the enemies... that game was tough...

I talked to bo3b, he said that the list is still active and that we could add more games to it as well as cast votes. So put some games on there people :)
