Problem with H5360
Hi all

I'm getting a lot of flickering with the H5360 and any game I try to load making it unplayable however both SSPlayer and NVPlayer are fine. I'm running W7x64 and have a NV 295GTX connected to the PJ via a 10m HDMI cable. I initially thought the cable but as the video players are fine i doubt it's that. I'm runnin 1280x720 at 120Hz. I've tried adding a manual res at 100hz but this doesn't seem to want to stick. Also get green and red outlining around objects as it is flickering.

Any ideas?

Mark

Did you try with shorter cable? Video players and games might have different data transfer rates so that may be the reason. So try if it works with a shorter cable. It also depends on the quality of the cable you are using.

Turn off all computer monitoring programs. And I mean all. Like I didn't even realize that my G15 was monitoring my CPU. I have a 25' DVI to HDMI cord for my H5360 so I don't think it's your cord.

everything is closed and still the same, even the nvidia test image doesn't show correctly, my drivers are all up to date. I have tried 10m HDMI-HDMI, 1.8m HDMI-HDMI, 1.8m DVI-HDMI, 1.8m VGA-VGA (with DVI-VGA block) so I can't see it being an issue with the cable, especially as NVPlayer works fine at 120Hz. here is a list of my processes, any ideas?

i have been messing about and i disabled physx accelaration and multi gpu and that has helped dramatically, many games are now playable but still not a very comfortable gaming experience. does that help anyone with any suggestions? also, does anyone have an email for nvidia support? thanks

EDIT

Ok this is also happening with the Nurburgring video with all cable lengths, this is very strange!

ok so to answer my own question, I spent hours on this last night with no success so I eventually formatted my H/D and re-installed windows and now no problems... must have been some sort of driver conflict etc.
