Profiles - master topic
Hey guys, since the search function on this forum is so bad its better to use google instead I was wondering if there is a place where we have all the profile related 'fixes' listed? Like I remember that company of heroes worked really well in 3d if you assigned it to total war napoleon profile. Im mostly talking about 'fixes' related to games that nobody cared enough to make a real fix for.

Guide: How to Search the 3D Vision Sub-Forum More Efficiently by TsaebehT helps https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/824274/ Some games that work well with just profile changes are listed on the gamelist of the HelixBlog with the word "tweak guide" beside them. Race the Sun, is one such game. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html I started a similar topic here.. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/820445/
The list is far from complete !
DarkStarSword maintains the list and will add them if you point them out to him. The "tweak guide" portion was only recently added, so it's still has a ways to go. But keep in mind that he's been exceptionally busy since then, getting married and moving, coding on 3DMigoto, etc.. So send him a PM of games that need added. The perfect example would be El Matador, the profile and settings you suggest makes the game work great. He most likely never saw your post. So PM it to him https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/878035/?comment=4670939

I also added all of these to the current list of profile switches here: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/03/how-to-change-3d-vision-profile-and.html I think it still makes sense to have them as [tweak guide] in the main list, because the main list is pretty much always the goto spot given a specific game.

Would it be possible to move the Guides, Tools, etc. to it's own page? It's kind of buried under that game list :)
This is what I got so far.. I have also send a PM to DarkStarSword..
I've added these to the list. I linked them to the generic profile switching guide since that page also includes instructions on how to switch profiles.
Would it be possible to move the Guides, Tools, etc. to it's own page?
It should probably go on the guides page eventually, but it doesn't currently contain all the external links from there. I'll need to split it up when I have a bit of time.

@bo3b Can you put the link for your driver release thread on the blog. I'm trying to find it atm, so I can look through some of the old driver options/suggestions. EDIT: found it "Suggested driver to use? " https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/777954/ EDIT#2: I hadn't looked at that thread in awhile, thanks for adding the profile txts
