Convergence settings not saving
After rolling back to my previous nvidia drivers, when I set the correct convergence setting then hit ctrl F7 it resets the convergence instead of saving it. Anyone know why this would happen? It means I unable to save the setting and have to redo it every time I enter the game.

If I remember correctly when I had this very problem, I went into the Documents folder where there is a folder called NVStereoscopic3D.LOG, see if there is a file in there for the game you are referring to. I so, delete the file and run the game to create a new save settings and see if that helps. This is the only thing I can think of. The only thing that these files do is keep your save settings for convergence, depth...etc....Not sure if this will fix your problem, but doesn't hurt...

On my machine, this happens since the 3xx drivers moved the stereo settings from registry to it's general profiles repository. But only on games with no existing profile. I think the new stereovision drivers don't create a default profile for unknown games anymore and thus can't store settings. A workaround which works for me is to create a new profile for those games myself. As soon as a proper profile is found, the settings are stored and everything works fine (and you can tweak the stereo settings in the profile editor).

I've tried deleting the folder inside NVStereoscopic3D.LOG and also reinstating an old backup of that file but neither worked. I don't understand what profile editor your talking about Chiri. Where do I find it?

I really DON'T UNDERSTAND why Nvidia forbids us to create a new profile. It is not a casual error, it has hapened since some drivers ago.

I have the same problem. Ever since updating my drivers like 2 months ago, I can only save stereoscopic ingame settings for a few games, (probably those that already had a 3d vision profile), but for most games I tried trying to save convergence settings just resets it. I have to adjust every time I start the games. And there isn't even anything about this mentioned in the known issues section of the drivers release notes.

Add the MysteryStereoSetting to your Base/Global Profile. :) https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/836462/3d-vision/guide-how-to-tweak-global-base-profile-settings-disable-info-text-fix-profile-saving-issues-etc-wip
Thanks! I'm gonna look into that. I just wish the geforce profile manager worked better. For some reason, I can only import changed profiles once (or more times within that one day) per driver install. After that there's always an error preventing the import process and I have to uninstall and reinstall the driver again..... -__- Do you per chance know the solution for this? Also I tried to use nvidia inspector but that didn't work at all. Someone somewhere mentioned that it imports the profiles incorrectly, wich does explain why it never worked for me...

Ohhhhhh..... so this is why that happens every time I play Rome II Total War? It's the only game I play in compatibility mode and so I thought it was just something to do with that.

Try to run the game with Administrator Rights. (Run as Admin). If playing from Steam, you need to run Steam As admin as well. (Even if you have an Admin account).
Do you per chance know the solution for this?
Do you have GeForce Experience installed? It may have something to do with that ... I never install it. [Aside from GFE] I have had issues re-importing before, it's very seldom, but I never narrowed it down to what part of the List caused the issue, I think NVIDIA Inspector caused it though ... when I'm lazy I go straight for NVIDIA Inspector when doing minor things. :)

Lately when I installed drivers with GFE I couldn't import profiles. Once I reinstalled the drivers without GFE I had no problems importing profiles.
