I received 3dvision and a new 120hz monitor for christmas and I've tried 3 games "Avatar" which is amazing with 3d vision, "Bad company 2" which again is amazing and world of "warcraft" which again is amazing. I have to say I've been gaming for more than 30 years and have come from the likes of the zx80, sinclair, amstrad and the likes, so I know how far computer gaming has come from way back then, I'm posting here to say to nvidia, you've brought the next big thing to gaming and that is 3DVision, it's made me think back to the old days when I couldn't wait to see what would be created next, for me this 3dvision has changed my gaming experiance more than I expected. It's another dimension and a whole new experiance in gaming, so thank you Nvidia! you've made my day. God only knows what we'll have in another 10 years or so, hope I'm alive to see it.

I know people say that if you go blind you only loose 90% of your vision but 100% of your stereovision but what a difference stereovision makes! We have been built to use stereovision; the organelles in the brain that process sight are by far the largest. Using S3D I have discovered we perceive alot of information using stereo - most noticable for me is sensing mass. In game objects feel chunky and bullets hitting walls, arrow whistling passed your head seem to have real momentum. Everyone who I have shown my 3D kit to have all been blown away by it. The only exception was my wife who suffered motion sickness; this in itself is cool because she otherwise only gets motion sickness when trying to read in a car. That's how convincing the 3D is!
Prepare to learn how to play some games with crosshair switch off. I am a fairly averagely skilled gamer and this took me about 5 minutes on Left for Dead before I was getting similar head shots to my friend I was gaming with.
Also be prepare to be frustrated by the neigh-sayers on game forums convinced S3D is a gimmick. TBE I no longer let this bother me because as my back catalogue of pre 3D Vision games have proved, as long as games has a decent graphics menu, all games, even those whose devs have puplicly denounced 3D, look cool in S3D.
Enjoy
ps when you get used to it try out toyification - a unique setting imposible to attain without S3D

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I do find it fun that alot of my games I've had to get use to again, as it's an all new ball game in perspective and distance. Found this more in Avatar and shooting creatures which took some getting use to. I've got my depth set at full as don't believe in starting low and working my way up, so the toyification your talking about is amazing when your character stands out of the screen and other objects extrude from the monitor. The first time I saw it happen I just sat there with my hand in front of my face trying to grab hold of the object, was so funny... It's made my gaming experiance a joy as I was getting a little board of gaming, but now it's spiced things up again.

Go to the nvidia control panel then the stereoscopic bit and there is a set keyboard shortcuts. Unlock it in there.

I googled it and found out so thanks for the heads up, I've just tested it on world of warcraft and improved the ghosting effect, I found that in world of warcraft ajusting the camera distance and keeping it static at the correct distance also improves ghosting, so it's alot better.. Going to ajust my other games now, so thanks for that brilliant info, if you've anymore little hints, please let me know, as I feel like a kid in a candy store at the moment. lol

Also if you are a fan of AssasinsCreed ,but you find the colors to be to grayisch, then try the dynamic contrast on your monitor..this option brings alot of color to the game...
Aswell as the digital vibrance setting in the nvidia control panel,..this can be turned up by 5-10 or so....
Brightness and contrast in games can have a nice impact on the games aswell, just mess around a little...
If you have troubles with shadows being drawn incorrectly, then try dissabling shadows in those games...
This option can be found in the game itself ,or in some custom config file in the game directory (read with notepad)
And ..always use the latest patches ..a good example is Trine...A platform game that is cheap and really shines in 3d with the latest patch.
