Risen 2 - 3D Vision fix
After some time of being available as work in progress fix, Risen 2 3D vision fix is now completed. All 3D issues I noticed should be fixed. Installation:
Download and extract this file into the directory which contains the Risen.exe (should be ./system) preserving the directory structure so that "DX9Settings.ini" is in the same directory as the .exe.

Known issues:
- When starting the game, there are flickering edges in the main menu.

Thank you for the fix! I played through most of Risen 3 with your fix for that and I didn't run into any major issues. I really want to play this one more though so now I have a reason to re-install it!

Hello everyone, thanks to mx-2 for this fix. I alway played Risen 2 with Power3D with Tridef. It also looks good, but of course has the known flaws of depth buffer. I installed this fix, but the shadows are off (too deep). Has anyone else this problem, or an idea how to fix this? I have the Steam version of the game, by the way.

Hi To make the fix work with the Steam-version you need to put ShaderOverride-folder and DX9Settings.ini into Risen 2-folder (the folder containing other game folders) and HelixMod d3d9.dll into Risen 2\system. This also fixes the problem of mouse not working with Risen 2 Steam-version. Same solution goes with Risen 3.
