Hi.I want to buy a new Smasung 3d tv(UN46F7500) to play games with Nvidia 3dtv Play using checkerboard, but the Brasilian models shows 3d Pixel mode(not checkerboard)with almost the same definition as checkerboard(definitions taken from User manual):
Checkerboard:Displays the images for the left and right eye alternately in pixels.(65C7000)
Pixel:Switches between left and right images one pixel at a time. This mode is not supported
on the UHD F9000 and S9 Series models.(UN46F7500)
Are they the same?.Thank you very much for any help.
Edit:Libertine and betc helped a bit,but my doubt continues.

I looked at two dozen or more current "F" series +7xxx Samsung 3DTV's user manuals recently in search of one that specifically spelled out support for a checkerboard 3D format and was unable to find a single one.
The 'bit switching' you describe above might be it but I'm not able to confirm or deny that it will work with 3DVisions checkerboard output format.
Maybe someone over at the AV forums owns one and is using it with 3DVision?

My feeling is what else could it be? It certainly doesn't update the views one pixel per refresh. That would take a refresh rate of 1920x1080/2 to update the entire screen lol. Can you take your case/keyboard/mouse into a store and test it out? I've done it twice, no questions asked. Just explained i needed the TV for this particular reason and needed to test it first.
Also, keep in mind, the Nvidia video card is what outputs a checkerboard pattern. Which means that IF the other fellow with the 2013 Samsung got it working, then it works. As long as "checkerboard" is selected in the Nvidia control panel, it should be it.

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530
