3D Ready display not found? I've just bought my Samsung 2233RZ
Hello everyone. My Samsung 2233RZ has been just delivered, I connected everything as shown in the instruction.
I've also installed the newest NVIDIA drivers (For GTX295, Windows 7) and Samsung drivers.
2D with 120hz seems to be working fine.

However, when I run 3D Vision wizard in NVIDIA Control Panel it says "3D Ready display not found".

I do not own IR Emitter, however I do own Polarized 3D glasses like those:

Is IR Emitter necessary to complete the wizard successfully? Any legal tweaks or something?

Hi

The glasses you referred to our passive polarized glasses which are not compatible with the Samsung 2233RZ panel which uses active shutter glasses. The picture you attached is for setting up anaglyph mode.

Thanks.
So you're saying that I need NVIDIA Glasses Kit for 2233RZ, right?
Anaglyph is working fine for me.

Yes, you definitely need nVidia's shutter glasses to use them with the 3D Vision Driver and the Samsung monitor... the only other option is to use anaglyph glasses, but these will also work with a normal display (120 Hz are not required for anaglyph mode)... you should've gotten the kit (display with glasses).
