Tv's with less than 120Hz input (please support them, but with a warning)
I've had shutter glasses since ages ago with older geoforce cards when they used to use a headphone jack to sync up. I've used them from 120Hz down to 60Hz and I know there is a difference in the flickering. However, now I have a large Vizio 55' LCD TV with 60-75Hz Input (VGA and HDMI), 120Hz Display (Smooth motion).
I really need you guys to allow for us to use and experiment with lower refresh rates than 120.
Almost Zero tv's and displays support this right now so it's very frustrating that I wouldn't even be able to use it at a lower quality on my brand new top of the line lcd tv. For some reason, even red/blue glasses are comfortable in some games (like Batman: Arkham Asylum), previously that wasn't true.
As long as you show a clear warning saying that your monitor will not be the same quality and there may be flickering during the setup (Show it to them right in the setup, by allowing them to use the glasses) I think that would be more than enough to get your point across. Many more people will be happy to play with some 3d glasses, even though it's not 100% flicker free.
I've tried "LCD" Compatible 3d shutter glasses from one other company, that did work at 60Hz however their software "hack" was of such poor quality that the frame rate made games unplayable. Now you guys have proper software and driver support, but I can't use the hardware. This is really really frustrating, I'm an advanced user and I don't like being locked out of things I *would* pay for. Even at a price point that's unfair for now (these glasses used to come bundled for practically free. Maybe $20 more than a regular geoforce at the time).
I'm sure that within a small period of time, someone will hack or modify your driver, find a registry hack, or write their own dll's to get past this as they have always done with nvidia drivers since the beginning. Wouldn't you guys rather avoid them having to do that in the first place and just make a product everyone can use instead of exposing their systems to even more problems and only basically limiting this technology to rich people instead of all walks of life /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ?

I forgot to mention:
We NEED customizable colors for anaglyphs. Some tv's display colors differently than others, and the glassess also have different colors more of then than not.
A Wizard would be nice to calibrate the colors for each eye.
For example my red eye shows perfectly (the color is right on.),
but my blue eye shows stuff that's in both colors/images (the color is off, and shows both images that goes to both eyes at once).
