Still waiting for this Andrew dude to answer my question about using 8800 GT and release date. Sorry to call him out like this but he said he would respond by now. Is he a waffler or something? I cant stand people/companies that fail to deliver on a promise. Makes them untrustworthy. Just my thoughts.

Agreed, it's about time we should receive some feedback from him. If I'm not wrong Andrew said 2 weeks ago that he would give us info about 3DTV Play in the following week. Well, 2 weeks have passed by and we know nothing....

Here is what i understood :

I have the 3DVISION USB IR Emitter plugged... and a Samsung 3DTV plasma...

When i plug the DVI=>HDMI cable directly to HDMI IN 3DTV => No 3DTV PLAY logo

When i plug the DVI=>HDMI cable to my HDMI 1.4 Receiver and then to HDMI IN 3DTV :

I HAVE THE 3DTV PLAY LOGO

I played Batman AA in 2x1920x1080@24p and it looks GREAT ;)

But Panasonic is patner whith NVIDIA for 3DTV PLAY.. So :

When you have the USB emitter plugged in and a Panasonic 3DTV :

The 3DTV LOGO is ON with only a DVI=>HDMI cable plugged in the 3DTV...

No HDMI 1.4 receiver is needed when you have a Panasonic 3DTV and the 3D Emitter...

So when you plug the DVI=>HDMI cable in a Samsung, Sony or LG 3DTV => The ID is blocked and the 3DTV PLAY logo will not be ON...

But in the final release, NVIDIA can't block the other 3DTVs ID... This would be illegal...

Last thing : I think that the mini-HDMI output of the Nvidia card is not HDMI 1.4 compatible...

I tried one to the HDMI 1.4 receiver : No logo 3DTV PLAY...

Not really man, I've read in this very thread over and over again and read about other folks saying that they were able to get 3DTV Play to work on a Samsung 3D LED TV and they didn't use any HDMI 1.4 receiver. I have also read about Panasonic 3DTV owners that were not able to enable 3DTV Play logo. And I can guarantee you that the mini HDMI in the GTX 400 series is indeed 1.4 version as it states in the instructions manual and also I have the mini HDMI plugged in to my TV and in the Nvidia control panel it says HDMI 1.4 bluray 3D. I guess you just assuming things, but that's not really the case, everyone has it's own theories about how they were able to make 3DTV Play work on their TV. Some used a HDMI 1.4 receiver, others simply connected the VGA straight to the TV, others only used the primary DVI slot. Believe me, I've read this thread a few times and everyone tells a differant tale.
It's a beta drivers and you got lucky making it work, not my case unfortunately.

I just hope Nvidia releases it by the end of this month as promissed.

Here comes my story. I use a Samsung 40C750. I bought a Nvidia emitter, plugged it in and 3D Play works, just like that.

Full HD with 24hz sucks. 720p is nice ... but after some testing i already miss FullHD with 60hz :( ...

And you're not using any HDMI 1.4 receiver??? How do you connect your TV to the PC, do you use the mini HDMI or DVI input on your card??? Do you only connect the TV to the PC or you also use a 120hz display and connect the TV to the PC using a second DVI input???

You are right for the Panasonic : I'm assuming things, but i did not tested by myself...

But all other things were tested by myself :

- DVI=>HDMI IN Samsung 3DTV => No 3DTV PLAY logo
- DVI=>HDMI IN Receiver HDMI 1.4 => HDMI IN 3DTV Samsung => OK 3DTV PLAY logo...
- DVI=>HDMI to the Receiver HDMI 1.4 give me 3DTV PLAY logo and mini-HDMI=>HDMI don't...
- No 3D Vision USB IR emitter plugged => No 3DTV PLAY logo

You are right for the Panasonic : I'm assuming things, but i did not tested by myself...

But all other things were tested by myself :

- DVI=>HDMI IN Samsung 3DTV => No 3DTV PLAY logo
- DVI=>HDMI IN Receiver HDMI 1.4 => HDMI IN 3DTV Samsung => OK 3DTV PLAY logo...
- DVI=>HDMI to the Receiver HDMI 1.4 give me 3DTV PLAY logo and mini-HDMI=>HDMI don't...
- No 3D Vision USB IR emitter plugged => No 3DTV PLAY logo
