Fail:
I gather that you can't run 3D on more than 1 monitor, seems it's because it only runs on the primary monitor in fullscreen.
Knowledge:
I've been running 3 monitors on a analog TripleHead2Go, setup is one cable from pc to the Matrox box, which then connects 3 cables to my monitors.
This gave me 1 primary monitor on the pc with a screen resolution of all monitors combined.
Question:
Will 3D Vision run on 3 monitors with a Matrox Digital TripleHead2Go?
- I don't have the hardware to try it out, the expense for bying the TripleHead2Go and 2 additional 120Hz monitors will be well worth it, for a working setup, but not for the sole purpose of the ability to post here and say it's not working.

Almost definately "NO" for several reasons:
- TH2G support a maximum refresh rate of 85Hz (on the higher resolutiions of interest only 60, see here for analog
, digital
, and DisplayPort versions
- The TH2G will appear as 1 monitor to the system .It supplies the DDC Data itself and does NOT pass on the DDC from the monitor
- native 120Hz TFTs are DualLink DVI (!) only - no VGA, which is not supported by the digital variants
Ergo, no use in buying 3D ready TFTs for the TH2G anyway.
The only way I can imagine it could work was with the analogue edition and 3 CRTs - BUT - you should try out proper operation with 1 CRT set to the aimed resolution and refresh rate of 3072 x 768 (3 x 1024 x 768) @ 85Hz - if that works chances are it works with the TH2G as well - but chances are also that the TH2G messesup the synchronisation.
I believe nvidia said it's not possible in their FAQ for 3d vision.
Yup, it does say no, I must have been tired when I read the FAQ
It will NOT work for a number of reasons. Most importantly, DVI bandwidth. The TH2G digital maxes out at 1680x1050 @ 57Hz. This is due to physical limitation of running 3 monitors on one dual-link DVI cable. So there is no way it could run at 120Hz needed for 3D. Secondly, when using the TH2G Windows does not register the monitor as the Samsung, it only sees the Matrox virtual monitor. This means the Nvidia driver will not work since it doesn't detect a compatible display. And even assuming you got around these issues somehow, you would need a beast of a machine from the future to run in triple-head @ 1680 x 1050 @ 120Hz with perfect sync across three monitors. So the answer is no.

apparently this can be done with the Iz3d.. which sorta interests me, especially
with the new drivers/glasses..
if anyone get's it working with 3d vision, please let us know.
it would be so sweet to have 2 3d vision ready monitors side by side.!

Can't run your proposal as Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ doesn't support 85Hz
@ dreamingawake
If you use 2 monitors, your center and target reticle will be 'split' by the monitor frames :(
