This is the first major crack at a DX11 wrapper and the team are working through a lot of issues with the technology to get it right. We have all been spoiled with Helixmod, but that also evolved over a period of time as Helix incorporated new features and techniques for solving problems. Chiri and team are incorporating this all up front. Now to more upbeat news - the team have a new updated wrapper and SolutionGaming will be producing a new video for this as soon as possible (hopefully 'tonight', US Eastern time).

I am excited to see what becomes of this, i had pretty much gave up on future games being 3d as we moved to dx11. Nvidia seems to have totally gave up on 3d now, i used to frequent these forums regulary before the changes, ever since the forums came back there is a deafly silence on Nvidia's part, its such a shame that it takes the community to sort this out.

Yeah I'm a bit underwhelmed this is not moving forward a bit more, I'll donate something later this week, but I don't have much. I'm surprised since there are a few people around with SLI Titans, 3 monitor setups etc, so I was expecting some bigger donations for this, but most of them are on the low end.

I suppose when people say "O god, I love playing in 3D" most of them actually mean: "O god, I love playing in 3D... errr, FOR FREE". Well, f*ck them!

I paid a small fortune for my setup and a great deal of it to Nvidia. £600 for 2 x GTX670 and £1000 for 2 x GTX480 when they first came out. Plus the £130 for the 3D vision kit! I expect them to try a little harder!!! I will give some money to Chiri and co when I see the wrapper working.

Let's not compare donations/wealth and theres tons of time. Early finish doesn't mean anything since its still being worked on. Its seriously only been two weeks and its got a month left. Half way is good.

I totally understand you don't worry... I had 2 GTX 590 (one got burned) and 3x3D monitors +3D vision so I know exactly how you feel. nVidia is trying its best (as far as they can) but is up to developers to actually make it happen...(and we also pay for each game) but they don't.... So from all the money you gave on the hardware + the money from each game.... people like Helix & Chiri (who are part of the community and not affiliate with nVidia or any other gaming company) get 0.00000 cents/pennies etc... They asked for a fund raiser to make something that will (potentially) work with any DX11 game out there... I perfectly understand them because I can tell you hundreds of hours of coding and thinking are involved in a project like that... I know since I also have a project like this (not related to 3D vision but multi-monitor rendering) and currently have more than 500+ hours spent on it in the last 2 years. I took the donation approach and I saw the results....and I am seriously thinking about discontinuing it in the current state... So, If you are a gamer and you really appreciate his work, invest in his project!!! otherwise..don't:)

I' ve dont read all the thread and sorry if someone has tell this before but i want to write this : When helix made his wrapper and when the firsts helix ready games were out all the people including me tell him, and the rest of the modders (eqzitara and others) to accept donation, gift and other. They always refused that. Today other modders (chiri who is very cool , cause i remember his work on dolphin emulator and 3d vision in DX11) accept money for the work they produce. I think it's totally normal ! Thank to them for taking time to do this and the less we can do is give us 10 € to thanks them for this effort. The only thing that i regret is that we can't thanks Helix and other great modder in DX9 as they deserve

I think we all paid a small fortune for our 3D vision PCs. That is why we should be thrilled that someone out there is keeping our setups from becoming obsolete. So what would you pay to keep your expensive system relevant? We should all be thrilled someone is developing a wrapper and not asking $50 per license to use it. It would be worth every penny too. I hope they get $50,000 in donations. You want to promote inovation like this. We will all benefit tremendously from it. Now, say thank you to them with a donation... I did.

Anybody have any pull with Bloody on 3DVision-Blog? He's probably the most high profile 3D site that I know of, bigger than mtbs3d.com. I'm just a little surprised that Bloody hasn't mentioned the Indigomod on his blog.

A new video has been posted to SolutionGaming. This updated wrapper improves specular reflection, fixes most of the issues with directional lights, and fixed some reflection issues. Next fix (probably in next 1-2 days) will fix lights on characters, probably the main most 'noticeable' effect remaining. There are some other minor issues with reflections, lights and shadows that will be addressed subsequently. http://www.3dsolutiongaming.com/indigomod/
