It is out now in the early access program of EA. It has around 22 GB, so it will take some time for me to download it. But be sure I will report in some hours back with pictures about the 3D vision quality.

Probably broken:(
Does it uses Frostbyte engine by any chance?
If it does we might be able to fix it;) Hopefully it will not use Compute Lighting only or a lot of ... since we never fixed that one in any of Frostbyte games so far, but most of them worked with it disabled (using normal deferred shading/lighting).
Please report back when you can, yes:)

U can also tell me what I should do to try the first steps in order to check the 3D vision compatibilty, I can try it then.
I can also post some "code" of the demo, if needed.
Ok, it is Frostbite engine. 3D kicks in. But there are a lo of broken shaders - see pictures.
I will try the Starwars Battlefront fix. Maybe it is doing sth?
@Helifax
If you dont have plans to buy it and don't mind playing offline mode I can share my game when I get it from Greenmangaming. I am not listing it on shaderhackers account officially till I play it at least once on my new card since we don't have origin games listed and not sure how its going to turn out. Really don't want like X people trying it at once just in case.

Thanks eqzitara. I don't have immediate plans to buy the game. I will probably end up buying it though;)
If you feel like getting inside the fixing stage of the game I can provide some steps on how to try to fix the game;)
Fist is to disable the compute shaders ligthing in the user.cfg file (you can see the SW:Battlefront fix on what the exact command is - something like "LightCSPath"). If we don't any or alot of illumination/lights we can proceed from there;) If we do, we can still use it to disable some lights that we can try to fix later. However, I have no idea how to fix those CS shaders:( maybe DarkStarSword will be able to help us out with this?
@mrorange55: Thanks for the Frostbyte engine clarifications and the pics. It definitely looks like "standard" Frostbyte issues;)

It is important to turn off Motion Blur and AO.
Problems are still some minor shaders and some parts of the HUD.

I will try to test it a bit more and write a short review. With the EA program I have 6 hours time. This is more than enough to find out if the game is good. Actually I never finished the first one. At one moment it was just to difficult, controls too bad (?). But I want to give this one a new try.

^^^ I understand where you're coming from - I found the first one infuriatingly difficult in a couple of places. But I did finish it. Ironically I never played it in 3D. I beat the game before I bought my 3D Vision kit. It might've been easier if I had tried it in 3D. I will definitely plan on getting this new one eventually.

First one is literally flawless in 3D as long as you have a display not prone to ghosting. Was pretty well regarded even before patch.
http://www.3dvisionlive.com/ugc/25076/mirrors-edge-3d
My main problem with the first one was "impossible" jumps. I would be stuck in a place and like I cant make that jump so I wouldnt attempt but certain key spots it lets you grasp edge further then you would normally.
Also lack of progression in game. I really like leveling and unlocking abilities in games. None of that in original mirrors edge.

MIRROR'S EDGE CATALYST - FIRST IMPRESSIONS OF THE 6 HOUR EARLY ACCESS DEMO
Just coming from a short gaming session of MIRROR'S EDGE CATALYST which is now available on EA Access for 6 hours playtime.
First of all: 3D vision work pretty good with the Star Wars Battlefront fix by Helifax. Thank you man!
Second: it is an open-world runner game and feels now like Dying Light. Or was it the other way around?
The controls got improved to the previous title. But the game is now also a bit more casual as it seems easier. What is not a bad thing. I was actually never finshing the first ME because of my lack of skills. ;)
Graphics are good but as good actually what I expected. They sticked to the art style of the first ME. What is important for fans I guess.
Music and Sounds remind you also immediately about the previous title.
You will see a lot of plain white and other full colours.
At the momemt I have the impression that I am completely guided through the first missions. But this might change later on.
You will have skill tree where you buy new skills with special points.

Overall I like it. I think I like it even more than the first one. It is easier to learn and to get into the gameplay, the controls. You should definitely try it out, if possible.
PS: I did not encounter any impossible jumps yet during the first hour of gameplay.

Wow, I never expected another Frostbyte Engine game fix to work here;)
Fixing the hud is the most easiest and the MOST problematic as well. It's easy to push it a specific depth but really hard to make it dynamic on depth and sometimes it just doesn't work properly:((
Besisides the HUD are there any other broken shadows/lights ?
Big thx for the feedback!
