Thank you! And also WTF? Helix vs nVidia?
Just wanted to say a big, huge, massive thank you to Helix and all his work, and sharing information with this community. Awesome, Awesome stuff.

It also begs the question: why the hell can Helix do this but nVidia can't fix this stuff in their drivers? I don't understand how this can be.

I love 3D vision, and just splurged on the ASUS 27" and I love it, so I'm not here to badmouth nVidia, but it kind of feels like they've been embarassed unless there's some kind of thing where they aren't legally allowed to do the things Helix is able to for some strange reason. I don't know.

But gigantic thanks again to Helix, regardless. Maybe we can all send him beer or something :P

How about naming the next generation of cards after him? I mean, yeah, GeForce is a pretty good name but they've been using it for a decade or two now. Helix sounds like a good name to me (even if it is a bit twisted).

Nvidia is way too lazy to do this IMO. Even if they claim this is a "hack" excuse that only effects certain online games.(I am sure they can get permission from developers). Up to one week ago mass effect 3 was marked 3D ready. I was like I should upgrade my videocard so I'm ready...
Whatever, I will continue trying to support helix's mod in whatever small way I can. If this became nvidia's "solution" I am sure we'd be seeing profiles months after release. Many of us here probably gave out more tech support on 3d vision then any nvidia employee.
The SAD thing is the average user will NEVER know that these fixes exist because they do not go on the forum.

@Zloth They can call the new dual cores, Dual Helix series :)
