I've got a GeForce 7900, running the new forceware 175.16 (XP32) drivers. Is it possible to get red/blue stereo? The driver notes I've seen say this forceware version added stereo support, but I can't find it anywhere. I'd rather not go back to the really old drivers that support stereo. Thanks for the info!!!

You need to also download an additional 3Ddriver/app from here:

Thanks for the info! Will this work on XP? The page only lists Vista.
EDIT: tried installing this on XP, it starts to decompress and says it is starting the install shield, but nothing ever happens after that. The stereo component and stereo options don't show up in the control panel. Any way of getting this stereo on XP? Thanks for the advice.
EDIT 2: I also installed some 174.75 stereo drivers from guru3d.com that said XP on them, but when I opened up the installer the same thing happened. Extracting the installer and looking at the INF file showed that the internal name had only Vista in it, not XP
The 163.71 Forceware + 162.50 3D works with XP (I've tried it). The latest 3D driver from nvidia is Vista only.

With the ED Shuterglasses and Even Older Games?? I am using a DLP Projector and the 94.24 drivers. These work rather well for games like Oblivion and GTR2 & EE2. Will the new Drivers work in 3d for those newer games and Games like Total Air War (F22 SImulation) F-18 & F4:Allied Force??

Yes with eDimensional shutterglasses. I don't know about the old games You mention, You'll have to try it. I had some odd shadows in Battlefield 2 with 162.50 but Virtual Skipper looked better than with 91.31.

Thanks for the replies. I guess 163.71 is the newest forceware that supports stereo for XP? Will I get a big loss in performance or image quality as opposed to 175?

@ The_Nephilim: You also need to use some of the registry changes on this page: http://www.3d.wep.dk/registry.html
@ javadlux: I don't think there's any performance loss compare to 175 drivers, but I don't know for sure.
I installed the drivers Freke1 mentioned, but I still don't see any stereo options. Under system info/components, StereoI.dll is listed but it's unavailable? Any ideas?

Have the 7900GT too. Same install-problem.
Solution out here?
