I was looking forward to playing Mass Effect 2 with Nvidia 3D Vision. The list shows that mass effect 2 has a "good" rating which I'm willing to accept.
However googling the web has shown that many people feel mass effect 2 is simply unplayable with nvidia 3d vision.
Has anyone here playing mass effect 2 the whole way through using nvidia 3d vision? Was it good? Decent? Was it playable with no major problems?

Sadly bioware contracted "CONSOLITIS" , so its not supported, and not good.
-it has "FAIR" rating, not "GOOD" (worse) either. Default, its like 20% s3d compatibility, lot of screen depth poop.
With config editing, I made it 60% compatible, 2 artifacts remain, and its a question how bad those artifacts affect the gameplay. There are areas where its unbearable, other ares you don't even notice it.
These two are, dynamic shadows and aura around objects when standing sometimes.
I removed the lens flare effect and HUD. You have to play with the HUD completely turned off, are you ready ? Ok sometimes you can turn it on for a check.
60% s3d beats 95% 2d very bad though. ( 95% as in reviewer scores)

my main problem was the highlighting for a target/object renders at the wrong depth. this really throws me off. I played thru Shadow Broker, but won't take my 2nd character thru unless I can find a fix. I have the same problem with hit detection in Black Ops.

But why do i have to play without the HUD? it seems to work fine with the HUD so far. I play with a decent amount of conv and about 20% depth and it looks great so far.
What is the slo mo all about? Is that a normal part of the game?

Uncompress the program into any folder. This program allows us to compile a Coalesced.ini file.. (You can't just edit Coalesced.ini using notepad, it won't work).
Now that the program is uncompressed you'll see a folder called Configs, navigate to it.
* Edit bioengine.ini in the configs folder with notepad, then find and change these parameters to the following:
LensFlareMaxOcclusionIncrement=0.00
LensFlareOcclusionStepSize=0.00
Now run the program ME2CC.exe as Adminstrator. (right click it, run as administrator).
Choose the option to compile a new Coalesced.ini ...
Lens Flare should be fixed.
As much as I respect Bioware for leaving this backdoor open, they could of just gave us the info about the lens flare when the game was released. Instead of helping the Stereoscopic 3D community they chose to ignoreus.

You fixed the lens flare effect THAT IS HUGE... Thank yoU! :)
I reuploaded the Coalseced.INI file in case his host goes down or something. Just future thinking.
