Before ordering a beamer I faced some limitations in my room, and so I am afraid, that I cannot find the best position for the screen.
But I have never tested it, so I dont know the best position to view 3D-vision games on a beamer screen.
The position doesnt matter for my normal 2D beamer. Is there a difference in 3D, so that I have to look directly into the middle of the screen or something like that?
What is the best position? A, B or C ?

You basically need to find something that is comfortable look at. For instance, I am in a small room and the projector is over my head. The image is projected above a couch, so I have to look up slightly. My eyes are about 1/3 of the way from the bottom of the screen. I find this to be quite comfortable.

From what I understand about projector screens, depending on the type of surface you are projecting onto, there are better angles than others. I seem to remember the glass bead projectors work best from above projecting down. (C). What screen were you planning on using?

I used this screen for my first selfmade projection wall.

The second one, will be selfmade too, but I think I need to choose a screen with more gain.
BTW: I am very happy with this screen.

You have to read a lot about how a high gain screen works. Generally, your sweetspot is pretty limited, and depending on the type of the screen you HAVE to mount the projector 1:high or 2:low.
Then there are also very high quality rear projection screens that can easily look the best (type2). Thought of projecting into the room , thru the door, out of a hallway? I think that's a very good idea, you minimise noise and ambient light pollution in one go!!!...
Needless to say, I think white is worthless for 3d, lacks the contrast, lacks the punch.

I higher gain (more reflective) screen has a more narrow viewing angle. A more matte screens has a wider viewing angle. FYI, my screen is Behr Silver Screen paint on foam board.

Definetly "A"
I have to look up at my screen somewhat and I know I'd prefer the "a" setup
