Acer Projector v7500 no 3D with 3DTVPlay
Hi, i bought an Acer v7500. It is able to run 120 Hz at 1280x720p but in the nvidia control panel i cannot select this solution and refresh rate inside the 3D Test. It offers me max 60Hz. So 3D doesn't kick in. Any ideas? Pc is connected via HDMI. Graphicscard is 980ti EVGA.

Projectors only work at 120Hz when accessing Nvidia's stereoscopic drivers via 3D Vision, the format output is then frame Sequential. Accessing via 3DTV Play, your choices are 720@60 or 1080@24, the format output is Frame Packed. If you are planning to game, you'll need to install the trial http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-14day-trial.html Feel free to contact Nvidia's Customer service to complain about how stupid these limitations are for a stereoscopic "gaming" middleware. http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/chat/chat_launch Or try these numbers US/Canada: 1-800-797-6530 International English: +1-408-486-2000 Also find fixes at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html

Thank you for the quick response! The 3DTVplay Software get automatically activated because the driver detects that my 3DVision Emitter is plugged in. Otherwise i had to buy the software. The software is running but 3D is not kicking in. I cannot change anything in the 3D settings menu of the projector. second line is greyed out and nothing is selectable. The funny thing is that Acer recommend to set the solution within nvidia control planel to 120Hz. But that is impossible.

When using 3DTV Play, the Nvidia emitter only acts as a product key. It is turned off/not emitting, so you need to use DLP Link glasses or other compatible glasses. If you have the emitter, I'll assume that you have the glasses. In that case, you could use an EDID override from a supported projector to make it work with the Nvidia glasses.

I have both, nvidia glasses and acer dlp glasses. I would prefer the nvidia glasses because i have three of them. :-) Where do i find this EDID override?

Have found a file that may fix my problem, but unsble to install the inf File. First: Tried it with right mouse button - Win 7 refuses to install. Then tried it under my computer changing the driver and Win7 says no need optimal driver already installed. How to install an inf File wirhout getting rejected by Win7?
