So what really happens with dual cores? I wanna know what the problems are
Please tell me what kinda problems everyone is having with dual core computers and stereo 3d. I'm not sure if I'm having problems because of the dual core or because I havn't been playing with 3d for awhile.
MY problems that i've been having is it doesn't look the way it used to , not really 3d, no depth and some effects are off from where they are supposed to be.
I await your responses.
EDIT: Also I have had freezing with oblivion and ST legacy, :( It sucks, spent so much money on a new sys and I can't use 3d :(

When you enable stereo, can you use F3/F4 to adjust separation? Does that make a difference? If that works, I doubt that it is dual core related.
Also, you can try modifying boot.ini to use NUMPROC = 1 to remove the dual core as a variable.
Also, could you please post your specs and also post them on the MTBS3D.com website? There is a thread over there "FIX Dual Core Problem" gathering system specs for those that it does and does not work with.
Thanks, and I hope that helps.

What about Quad Cores? I just bought that chip which is coming in tomorrow. NO it is not specifically for gaming, but for multitasking in my media creation field.

Hello, Nate,
When I enable stereo I can use the f3/f4 and adjust the seperation however it doesn't look right. The only time it looks close to good is when it's just two taps from no convergence. Also it's doesn't really look like it has depth at all. I tried it on Wow which is what I used to always play with stereo and it didn't even look close to what it used to. Also most of the particals are not where they are supposed to be, and any other games I try just freeze the computer.
If I add that command to the boot.ini will that turn the dual cores off for everything , or just the games?
