Skyrim in 3D
Hi All, I recently got skyrim (yes I know, a little late to the game) and installed this helix mod for it, the most recent i can find helixmod.blogspot.com/.../elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-3d-vision-shadow.html It makes everything ALMOST perfect except for the prompts that pop up to say "press A to talk" "Press A to pick up item"....those prompts show in the middle of the screen and pretty much throw off the experience because it is just slapped in the middle of the 3d objects. All the other text, HUDs and so on show up perfect! I'm normally not nitpicky about things like that in 3D but this is a loooooong game and there are lots of items to pick up and lots of NPCs to talk to. If there isn't a way to fix this, is there a way I can edit the files some how to disable this text all together? I know if I press A on someone it will talk to them and same things with picking up objects, I don't need the prompt there. I don't think the game has built in options to disable it (it is not subtitles) anyone else get skyrim working better in 3D beyond what the 2012 helix fix does for it?

Use immersive HUD. You will need SKYUI to activate it. This allows you to reposition everything. You can set HUD elements to only show when it's triggered by something. e.g. compass hidden unless I crouch. :)

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Remember that you can modify one of the helix ini files to have have custom convergence for UI. I found I needed to do this to have a separate setting for comfortably reading in-game books. As for other 3D fixes, I've spent hours fine-tuning and testing an ENB preset to make it work almost flawlessly, which I'm quite excited about. I'm going to write everything down in a blog post and release my files as a nexus mod one day, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet
