Whats a standard 3d format for viewing on most 3dtv's?
Hi all, I am looking to convert 3d video from my Fuji W3 3d camera to a format that is both small and works for most 3dtv's. I am only able to view the video if I hook the camera directly to the tv with a mini HDMI cable. If I were to put the cameras memstick into the tv directly without using the camera its all messed up. The cameras 3d format is MPO 720p/29fps I have vegas pro 12/roxo convert/CS6/the crap disk included with the camera (sucks and converts to very large file sizes). All the still pics work no problem when played from a memstick without the need for the camera to be hooked up. All video and stills work on the PC with no 3d issues. Thanks

Most TVs will play side-by-side format.

ya, theres still more to it than just side by side. side by side is the method of viewing not a format

Do you mean file format? You can usually encode 3D video in side by side format as an mp4 or mkv file, that should work on most setups.

These links might help http://3dvision-blog.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=2323&p=11918&hilit=Fuji+W3#p11918 http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stvmkr/ I think CyberLink's Power Director can do the conversion also, maybe there's a trial?
