New fix is up. Updates: - Removed all the manually fixed Compute Shaders as they are handled by Regex now (Thanks DHR!) - Improved the Tile Light Compute Shader fixes by DarkStarSword (by eliminating calculating the inverse matrix and double matrix multiplication). - Found out and fixed the problem that was causing the game to crash in certain locations, related to the Cube Tetures. - Fixed the shaders in Peebee's Loyalty Mission. (Which broke the whole game-scene) - Fixed some other shaders that were broken. - Update the Xbox Shortcuts: ; Nomad Convergenge
[Key_NOMAD_2] Key = XB_LEFT_SHOULDER XB_DPAD_RIGHT
(LB + RIGHT arrow on DPAD) ; Galaxy Map Presets
[Key_MAP_GALAXY_2] Key = XB_LEFT_SHOULDER XB_DPAD_DOWN
(LB + DOWN arrow on DPAD) ; 3D Map mode
[Key_MAP_3D_2] Key = XB_Y XB_DPAD_DOWN
(Y + DOWN arrow on DPAD) Same link as before. Cheers!

Helifax, you deserve a medal with an award ceremony. And one of those giant checks. Of course several others contributed, and a big thanks to them too, but you're definitely the face of this project for sure. You're my hero man. This is really impressive.

This type of collaboration as seen here between Helifax, Kaimasta, Bo3b, DSS, DHR, with all the people testing and providing input - it's one of the most heart-warming and encouraging thing I experience in this day and age. On the internet no less, with people whose real name and faces I don't know. And who produce awesome results without being on the same continent, much less in the same room. Beyond this game, your accomplishments recently humble me and leave me in awe every day: Regex and the wrapper support - have probably already ushered in a golden age of mostly unassisted fixes. Who would have imagined this, half a year ago. And this, in the context of TV makers abandoning 3D functionality, VR disappointing technically, and nVidia doing their thing where, as a youngster with a passion for tech you would not even know that 3D Vision existed. Special thanks to Helifax, whose passion and drive for the "Andromeda project" kept the interest in this game alive for a year or so! I plan to enjoy your work really soon, guys. THANK YOU ALL FOR MAKING MY LIFE RICHER AND ALLOWING ME TO STILL FIND PLEASURE IN GAMING. A question to the people who game on a 4K LG like me. How is the performance on this thing? Usually I need to switch to 1080p and use TAB mode on "hungry" games, will this be necessary in Andromeda? And does the fix support TAB/SBS modes?

Thanks for the fix!!! I tryed it last weekend and wow…the game looks so amazing. Maybe the best looking 3D Vision game in the moment. Thanks Helifax. I changed the ini for the Xbox Elite Controller and for more convergence. I am a convergence Junkie ;-) I needed 2 hours for these changes. It is not easy with the scanner, the questmarkers etc. But I would recommend your settings. I can live with not 100% perfect questmarkers but more convergence :-) But I can clearly see how much work these fix included. Respect!

This community’s incredible collaborative work is an example of the very best use of the interconnection that internet provides, so rare in this age of social media. I wish NVIDIA would talk about its unique web community-based 3D Vision gaming support in press releases and trade shows, to at least acknowledge this community’s incredible talent. Thank you, Helifax, for your superb skills, drive, and energy to REPEATEDLY fix this game, not resting until it was perfect! Using Helifax’s guidance for settings, and all optional settings maxed but no AA, my Pascal Titan X is averaging about 20-25 fps in the starting areas of the game (native 3840x2160 display size, standard 3D Vision mode).

As for performance, it should be the same as without the fix. All the shaders have been patch as little as possible to avoid introducing more than needed gpu time. :)

I am in the process of finishing the game (again) and I found a few more broken shaders (all the way at the end missions). I plan for the next release to fix all these remaining issues:)

Decided to start a new game and play it through from the beginning and am enjoying every depth-filled moment! Just wanted to say thanks again - a truly remarkable achievement.
