3D Nausea anyone? Half Life 2 makes me sick, literaly
I've had 3d for a while now and I enjoy it very much but for some reason when I play Half Life 2 for about 30 min or so I start to get nausea and I start to get cold sweats and I have to stop. Now It doesnt really happen with my other games and I have lots of FPS games I play in 3d and I can play those for hours. It doesnt matter if I play with the lights on or off, and I even lowered my convergence alot more than normal too. Anyone else experience this?

lol. No.

Never experienced anything remotely like this.

Cold sweats ? My goodness man.

Maybe you should pick up a safer hobby, like reading..

Everyone knows that HL2 did make 'some' people feel ill when it first came out..
to this day there are people who cannot stand it. I dunno what it is.. something about the engine I guess..

But yeah, if it's making you sick.. don't play it dude..

I understand its something to do with the limited fov thats set by default. Theres a command you can add in the dev console to increase it i think.

Yeah, default FOV is 70. You need 90 minimum - should be 105 for a 16:9 monitor and 100 for a 16:10

I have always suffered from bad nauseous and head aches whilst playing Half Life 2. It is a very common problem, lots of people suffer the same. I can't believe Valve never fixed the issue.

It has nothing to do with Nvidia's 3D Vision.

I can't believe all you have to do is hit tilde to bring down the console, and then type fov 90 to fix it
