Finally got mine, but driver hickups. Help?
WTF, my post never made it through...Its like the problem I'm having reinstalling the drivers. Okay, will try this again.

Hi everybody, I'm a new user and picked up my 3D vision glasses along with the Samsung 2233rz in Hong Kong. I'm lovin the whole 3D gaming.

The problem is I can't seem to update my drivers properly. Right now I'm using the cd that came with the glasses v1.0. I have no problems at all, but just wanted to update the drivers. Am I missing out anything besides COD fixes? Is it worth updating? I've got plenty of games to try out.

So I've uninstalled all the drivers using vista uninstaller and driver sweeper. I downloaded the 1.09 cd. After installing it, the 3D stereo installer says "this stereoscopic 3D is not compatible with installed geforce drivers, go to www.Nividia..."

So my next attempt was using the latest drivers and the beta 190.38 for the gtx260 and 3D vision. When it came to the 3D stereo install, during the glasses test the montior flipped out and blanked out...like it couldn't sync. There was another ocassion when I was re-installingm I found when I right clicked there was no nvidia control panel when the install was fine. Also I came across a time when the 3D vision did install, but no test needed, just a reboot and the glasses never worked.

So, finally, I'm back to square one using cd v1.0. I'm scared to do this again. If I stare any longer I'm going to start seeing 3D on my own. If my monitor flips out, I'm sure I'll have a heart attack. So any suggestion from you guys? Otherwise, what I've played and tested has been a blast...a true fun experience.

Thanks and lookin' forward to browsin' the forums!

Please install the v1.10 CD. It works fine and wont do anything to your monitor. That CD kit includes 190.38 GeForce and 3D Vision drivers.

Hi Andrew, thanks for the help. I did the drivers removal then installed using the v1.10 cd. The display drivers install didn't work tho. When I rebooted you couldn't right click and see any nvidia control panel. So, what I ended up doing was downloaded the geforce drivers seperate and then used the 3D vision installer on the 1.10 cd and it WORKED. At least its up and running now. Thanks for the help!
