Cannot use NVIDIA 3D vision glasses and emitter
I bought an Acer Predator Z650 projector (listed in the supported 3D projectors [url="http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-system-requirements.html"]here[/url]) and the acer glasses work just fine. Anyway [b]I'm unable to use the NVIDIA 3D vision glasses[/b] (probably because of the NVIDIA emitter not working with the projector) to display any 3D content. Is this an expected behavior? If not, is there anything I can do about it? Thanks in advance

That projector is supported via 3DTV Play, which can be purchased for $40 as a standalone product. 3DTV Play is enabled for free if you own a 3D Vision emitter. It acts as a product key as long as it remains plugged in. 3DTV Play only works with HDMI 1.4 compliant displays via a HDMI connection and requires that you use the manufacturers glasses or compatible 3rd party glasses. The Nvidia emitter is non functional when acting as a 3DTV Play product key. It is turned off and you can not use the 3D Vision glasses when accessing Nvidia's stereoscopic drivers via 3DTV Play.

Feel free to contact Nvidia and tell them that it's misleading and confusing to put a projector that is supported via 3DTV Play on the 3D Vision certified list. Ask them how it is, that they could be stupid enough to let this happen not once, but several times.
