Manic ramblings from the hospital
  1 / 2
I’m autistic and also suffer from bipolar disorder. Because of this I am currently retired at the age of 35. I’m writing this from my hospital bed and currently unable to leave this “prison” cell. Wish me luck and a good recovery!

A friend with similar condition (not sure about bipolar he's just mean all the time) , earns serious caps using drupal. They are building sports websites at ****** a swiss company. As far I can tell he's happy with it , but he's meanie about that part too (as in others suck). :D Until stereo hardware gets better to earn mainstream approval maybe web is an useful freelance job? If stereo becomes mainstream ,and there are signs it will ,you will have a headstart, IMO that's something to stay strong about !

I had a g/f with bipolar and OCD disorders, and made many trips to visit her while she had an extended stay at the hospital (which, like you said, was very much like a prison). You and I may have exchanged some unpleasant words in the past but I would never wish that upon anyone, so I hope you're able to recover and return to your home ASAP.

Come on, Flugan! You're clearly an extremely intelligent person, but as I'm sure you know, intelligence is often directly correlated with insanity. Still, despite everything, I expect it's possible for you to find a pattern that works best to minimize the downsides of your conditions. When you find yourself back within your typical modes of living, see if you can step back and objectively view the things that cause you to fall outside your more functional states, and optimize to avoid those where you can. Best of luck in your recovery!

Status update, things are improving. Sleeping more and feeling calmer. Yesterday I was so angry I wanted to rearrange somebody’s face. Managed to control that emotion. Working on the assembler hash and afterwards the assembler has been really nice. I really love this community. Doing the flugan wrappers was probably the most complex work I did mostly on my own. Some parts are copy pasted from 3Dmigoto and Otter code was adapted from 3Dmigoto. Most of the code and design is my own. Still have dx9 and dx10 prototypes. Hope things continue to improve. It can take up to a few months at most in my experience but weeks is more likely even if this one feels pretty severe. I will keep you posted. I was manic when I started the famous forum fight. Let’s keep things civil this time. Flugan signing out.

Sorry to hear about this Flugan. I hope you always have your head held high knowing that you're playing life on hard mode, facing challenges most of us don't have to face.
