Need a CLEAR answer on Bad Company 2 ALONG with other new releases 3d compatability
I have read through the other Bad Company 2 Forum and some say it is beautiful in 3d while others say it isn't even working that well at all. So, I will make this simple

1 - Is Bad Company 2 developed OFFICIALLY with 3d play in mind a'la Resident Evil 5?

2 - Does Bad Company 2 work well in 3d?

3 - Did they ever fix Bioshock2's 3d compatability?

4 - What other upcoming releases are going to be done right and officially for Nvidea 3d similar to Avatar and RE5? Both of those games work and look amazing !!!

Thanks all !!!!

1 & 2 - A recent patch to BFBC2 has improved compatibility. You cannot enable anti-aliasing and use 3d in this game at the same time, and the game has some issues when trying to run the 3d at a high depth. That said, I think it's awesome in 3d. My PC chokes a bit on the snow map with bloom enabled, but I've turned the resolution down to 1600x900 and now it's reasonable on the 196.21 drivers - I have heard it's better on the latest drivers but I had some issues with those that I'm not prepared to live with.

3 - I couldn't tell you for sure, but I think the latest drivers fix the crosshairs issue... I don't own the game so you would need to do some more research or wait for someone who has to respond.

4 - I don't know to be honest, would like to know myself!

Quoted for truth. Now if you have the power to run it at full settings with 1920x1080 ... that could be a question. I got a a Core i7 965ee, 2 gtx285 and in 3d full settings i bounce between 40-60 fps. lol

The game looked really really not too bad at release but since the update/patch/drivers have been released and installed its amazing. Best game to get if you want to play in s3d.

I have problems where the green markers over your teammate's heads move off them them when they're not directly in front of you. I read some other people having this same problem, and I'm not sure if the source of the problem is in the latest BC2 patch or the latest 197.13 driver (I installed both at the same time). I tried reverting to the 196.xx drivers and still have the problem. It makes the game unplayabe because now everyone looks like an enemy until they're right in front of you and then you see the marker is over their head. I play at 100% depth, so that may make it worse, but to me games aren't really 3D unless they're at 100%. Very frustrating! If not for that, 3D would be perfect. Well, almost, as I still get almost no improvement using SLI versus a single card. Most games give me a huge fps boost in SLI, but not BC2.

Bad company 2 was unplayable until I installed the 'bad' 196.75 drivers. Those drivers were the only thing which made it work for me.....

About Bioshock 2, still not even a peep from 2k. I am waiting to hear back from a rant i sent them....
