Well I bought Chronicles of Riddick, Dark Athena yesterday and was hoping to play it in 3d but then realised it was an openGL game. So obviously I then tried hooking it up to my TV to see what would happen, and once again my TV said "3D signal detected". However this time I got no picture at 720p and an absolute garbled mess at 1080p. So that's two openGL games it activates 3d mode on with 3dtv Play, but neither are playable- for me at least

Bumping this thread for interest.
The way I see it is there are two scenarios
1.) Nvidia has added something to 3D TV Play that allows it to see but not always render OpenGL games in 3D.
2.) There is still some legacy code in the 3D Vision driver and its getting activated but with mixed results

Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2070sb @ 2048x1536 @ 85hz
Edimensional glasses and Nvidia 3D Vision
I think you're probably right. Although I know nothing of the technicalities, it seems like one of those two scenarios is what is happening.
I have actually emailed the developer and put in a request for native stereo support either for this game or the next, I recommend everyone else interested in this do the same!

"Hi,
no sorry no plans for doing any stereoscopic 3D support of our own for Amnesia.
Kind regards,
