Hmm.... Have you tried in the Nvidia 3D Vision wizard instead of using the 120hz setting to put it at 110Hz and 100Hz? and see if the problem is exactly the same or it does improve the ghosting/rendering? As for the Mobo bios, I would suggest checking the website;)) I bought my new Mobo (Asus Maximus VII Ranger) last week and the Bios was several iterations older (I think around 20 revisions older actually). Thing is in the Manufacturer plants they usually don't flash the bios with the latest version but rather with the initial version. Hmm, I don't know about the headset but I remember reading somewhere that there were some problems with some logitech peripherals at some point...(can't remember if directly related with 3D Vision or the driver). You could start a game and then simply unplug the keyboard and mouse and see if that helps (I doubt it but who knows)... I think your monitor is also using G-sync right? have you tried to explicitly disable that option (technically the driver should do that automatically in 3D Vision mode..but who knows)... I am still thinking what could help identifying the problem...

I tried with 144 (only in game), 120 and 100hz, with and without Antialiasing and with different resolutions (1920 x 1080 and 2560 x 1440)... I couldnt make out any difference. Yes the monitor uses G-sync. I have also disabled it manually (even if it does it automatically, as you said) According to CPU-Z, BIOS is from 04/17/2013... not really new. Could be worth a try :)

Possibly a silly suggestion, but I'm out of ideas - is there something else interfering with the signal? You've changed glasses and monitor and have the same problem, so is there something near the computer/emitter/glasses? When my I have my glasses on and turn my smart phone on, my glasses flicker and the screen goes all out of sync. If my monitor emitter comes on (by "accident") I get inverted images. Have you tried moving to a different part of the room? Also, my desk lamp used to affect it, I had to move it away.

Yeah I really have a LOT of gadgets, but even after turning off all them, the problem is still the same. I will move my PC / monitor and the 3d kit to another place in the house tomorrow... I will let you know the result :) Thank you so much for the time you've spent, I really appreciate!

Well I do hope that we will be able to solve the issue;)) but somehow I still don't know what is really going on there...hmmmm Weird question did you try another GPU?!?! I know its not exactly easy but...maybe ask a friend to lend his GTX card for a few hours and see if that gives different results... (I know it sounds weird but I am clueless)

I may have a solution for you problem. I redid my windows installation a few weeks ago. I opened the pc to install a new harddrive before installing windows. I did not put the 4 usb connections to my pc back in the same slots since I was redoing the system. The cable to the 3d vision pyramid got hooked up to another usb port from which it was previously connected. Upon re doing my system I immediately noticed increased ghosting on all games. Percentage wise I would say it was close to 100% more ghosting, i.e., double what it was before. I remember reading months ago the these devices can be sensitive to the type of usb port it is connected to. So I moved the cable back to a confirmed usb 3.0 port it was on previously, rebooted and instantly decreased the ghosting significantly, back to levels that the were before. So find the strongest, cleanest usb port on your system and plug the emitter cable to it. Hope this helps.

Ghosting is almost always present with LCD based 3D monitors. This is completely normal. Even new ones like the Rog Swift still have issues with extreme high contrast objects. It's not a software issue, it's a limitation of the hardware. I also have a DLP projector w/ DLP-Link glasses, and these are known to have the least ghosting for active solutions and there is still some ghosting if you look carefully. As long as the eyes are sharing the same screen it's nearly unavoidable.

I will try with changing the USB port / rebooting. Then I did all I could... A friend of mine recently bought the nvdidia 3d with the benq xl2720, I will ask him to bring his equipment with him next visit. I have moved the monitor, PC and 3d equipment to the basement, to avoid any interfering signals, but still the same issue. Cybereality: I could accept the ghosting if it would have been like that since the beginning. But in the first days/weeks, I had no ghosting at all and than BOOOM, there it was. Thats the weird thing. If you have experience 3d in its best way before and now have this extrem ghosting, its totally annoying. And with my Samsung 3d TV (which is also a LCD with shutter goggles) I dont have this problem at all. Reducing brighness and contrast does not really help. I tried different USB ports for the pyramid, all the same, even if I reboot between... its always installing the drivers and reporting back thats all fine. But NO difference at all, not even a bit better or worse, just exactly the same with all I did so far. I even removed my old souncard and the blueray rom, since these where also some 'old parts' from my previous system. Before I reinstall Windows, I will try again with my old PC and monitor. And then with the 3d equipment of my buddy... but this will take a while.
