What? What happened to all that "superior 3D quality with gsync" stuff that nvidia explicitly (albeity vaguely) wrote?
gsync still may be one of the best things to happen to 3Dvision though. Gsync monitors will likely become the defacto monitors of choice for high-end PC gamers, which means that the amount of 3Dvision-capable monitors in people's gaming rigs will probably grow exponentially over the next couple of years.
Surely at least some of those people will spend the 80 bucks on a pair of 3d glasses. Especially as Rift mania continues to ramp up (yet continues to fail to actually deliver a meaningful number of playable games that actually look good and play well).
What a shit that people will have to choose between gsync and 3D though. Up until now, 3D has only had advantages, while the disadvantages have mostly been fictional (headaches, eye strain).

It has been announced as a 120+Hz monitor, Linus Tech did actually check the settings on CES wich were on 144Hz at that moment.
Afro, don't you think that Nvidia needs to update their 3D software/drivers to be able to support higher resolutions? Even if this monitor is said to be 3D compatible, if there is no optimized software, won't that be a problem? I keep hearing stuff about software and fake 3D...
