Have you tried setting VSync to Pure adaptive instead of ON(smooth) ? on my GTX590 it seems this works better (or else I get 40-50% gpu usage) and 17 fps lol... could help with the loading broken shaders... Also I tend to CTRL+T once I loaded a game and actually am inside the "world".. Maybe this helps?

Yeah doing both these things already. It actually looks like its working properly, apart from the lighting. The lighting/reflections maybe is consistently broken in every zone. Everything else is fine. Looks like I'm going back to 3dmoto.

Yeah I considered this and disabled everything , same issue... I'm going to play around with it a little more and roll back if I have no luck, would just be nice to have everyone on the same page and not 2 different ways to install the fix. *edit* Removed the flugan wrapper and went back to 3dmoto Problem with lighting went away and game is once again perfectly stable... I'll be very interested to see if anyone else gets the same issue. btw Its interesting you mention the Intel rapid storage, I was also running this in the past...

Thanks Helifax - installing the Windows stuff you linked helped the travel crash issues I had. The fixes seem to break though after fast travel using Flugan's wrapper so I am back to using the 3DMigoto one.

I do, I am using Windows 8x64 and the game will crash to desktop with no error at random points. When I launch the game I have to hit CTRL T to enable 3D, which is no biggie. The game crashes a lot around Skyhold. I am using latest drivers.

You could go on the bioware forums and read a couple of fixes people found for the general crashing of the game, which doesn't have anything to do with 3D Vision. What I am interested is: - Does the fix disable itself ? Aka the HUD becomes 2D, shadows are messed up etc - Do you get crashes on loading screens ? - Do you see objects that are 2D ? like boxes, companions weapons, etc ? after a load ? Cheers

Played again last night with the 3dmoto version but using the exact settings helifax posted otherwise (which I have actually been doing for some time) Had one crash but like you say was likely just a general CTD that everyone gets with this game. I've tried everything but I cant get the Flugan wrapper to work. The lighting is consistently broken everywhere, otherwise its working. Helifax are you able to set post processing effects to high with Flugan's wrapper?

Well Shiet :)) I didn't realized I missed one important detail in the instructions... meaning copying the "user.cfg" file. While developing the fix we had the same problem initially... where the whole lighting system was Fcked and rendering only in the right eye... Took me 3 days to figure out.... that the game is using DirectCompute to calculate the lights (meaning it loads on the GPU the whole lighting calculations and there isn't a CPU->GPU communication that normally exists when using shaders). All the settings in the user.cfg file basically tell the engine to use shaders for light calculation as well as disabling the blur post effect filter and use proper per frame calculations for motion blur and post process effects (rather than splatted as a 2D texture on the final step of the rendering). Ahh great, I figured it must be something setup related that I was missing, since the problem was so consistent. Thanks, will try when I get home. In your instructions you mention... - Set the resolution and refresh rate to 120Hz and fullscreen. - Disable V-Sync in game. - TURN OFF MSAA. This causes a gray foggy effect. - Rest doesn't matter. Does this mean I can put up the post processing back to high? =)

As a result you will get the blurred part of the image 2D (rather than in 3D). Quality wise I can't see a difference between medium or high... You will see what I mean in cutscenes where is very prominent... So, I recommend against setting high... This is valid on any version of the wrapper.... I'll update the post with this info as well ;)) Edit: Done!

Yeah that did the trick its working good now. However Its actually a little unstable for me again compared to the other wrapper. But I can put up with the odd crash if it means I can put the graphics quality up a bit. cheers.
