Just bought an EVGA GTX 980 TI Hybrid - Great Card running very cool and smooth..
BUT.... I can't install older drivers eg. 350.12 - my favorite.. Just says my Card is'nt compatible.
Aparently only drivers from after the release of the Card is allowed ??
Is there a Work arround for this, what do others with 980 TI do.. ?
Don't have a 980, but yes, that is correct. Can't install any drivers older than the card itself. That's why there have been so many complaints about driver issues ever since the 900s were released. There is no workaround that I've read about, but someone with the same problem could obviously be more authoritative on the subject.

You can try adding the inf from your current GPU to the older drivers.
While 350.12 supported Maxwell GPUs, there might be issues. You'll definitely want to monitor temperatures, clocks and usage. I really wouldn't think that there would be any issues other than some performance loss perhaps?

It's easy, people were doing it to use Quadro/NView drivers with their GTX cards.

What makes me so sad about this, is the many fixes that don't Work with newer drivers.
Especially Watchdogs, Alien Isolation also the games with locked convergence, as I recall Chiri's fix dosn't Work with newer drivers. :/
I would love a version of 350.12 that would work with the 980Ti. As it stands its the only way I could play witcher 3 in 3d on my system.
It really is the only game ive had issues with tho... well, that and batman arkham knight. Every other game ive played has worked beautifully on windows 10 with the latest driver.
