The fact it changes Shaders depending on the graphics card used, sounds like bloody awful nightmare. =/

This game remains number 1 on my wish list even after all this time I'd really like to cross this franchise off my list, just can't bring myself to play the last entry when I have played all the rest in perfect 3d.

Mine as well, this game did receive a lot of deserved criticism in terms of port quality but I'm having a second go through and I must say it's one of my best games, very well done, and I even like the Batmobile.

Well yeah, it did get removed from steam for what like 4 months? How is the re-release quality? I know SLI will never work but is most of the problems fixed?

It still exhibits hitching, but it seems to only do this once I've progressed into other islands in Gotham City, I don't know if the hitching is caused by loading assets way off in the distance but I did notice less hitching with a fresh playthrough.

I've tried playing it with my 690GTX, but without SLI it just can't handle the load in certain situations. That being said, I can tell that the game is stable and that it's my aging GPU that holds it back. It's a fluid experience for the most part.
I plan to buy a 1080Ti in the next few months, and I too have been patiently waiting to see if this game would be fixed for 3D!

So I just brought this game (premium edition) from CDKeys for the massive sum of 10.99 AU. When I plugged the code into steam, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I got every Batman game - Asylum, City, Origins and Blackgate. Seeing as the install size for Knight is massive, I have installed all of the others first - and every single one of them (Origins and BLackgate included) works flawlessly in 3d vision for me.
Looking at this thread, I don't have high hopes for Knight - but you never know :)

Yeah from what I understand it's an abortion of a port still and the game generates shaders by graphics card which I imagine is making it a near impossibility to fix. It makes me sad cause I still have it sitting on my hard drive untouched when I have played all the rest of the series in 3d and loved it, just can't bring myself to finish it off in 2d.

What could possibly be the point of that?
I think I'll play through the rest and see how I feel about Knight in 2d when I have finished. I played Asylum and City back on the PS3 and 360 and remember them being great games, so it will be fun to revisit and play Origins anyway.

I played through some of this game after that performance patch last year using CM and I'm pretty certain I used the Black Flag profile.
But it was actually pretty good in CM, I stopped playing though, hoping for a real fix. Fingers crossed, it will happen some day.
The game is a bit of a mess, in real 3D weird things happen. Like you can be on the street and the lane stripes are floating, not such a big deal, but they distort and twist also. A lot of decals and lights are really jacked up. As you spin, things disappear, especially text.
Too bad it's Unreal 3 and not 4, we could try that universal fix.
