Wasteland 2 - Falllout 1&2 RPG style
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvNbuOenVPw http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/inxile/wasteland-2/posts/691853 its a successfully kick-starter project, game is pretty decent, very reminiscent of the first fallout, its like an old-school rpg style. If you buy it for $60 you can get the early access on steam (not sure if worth it I just enjoyed fallout 1&2 so it wasnt a problem for me but the game is kind of bugged right now and not finished so think twice before you buy it as its already been founded and will be finished for sure). I asked them about 3d vision support here http://wasteland.inxile-entertainment.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5405 you can drop your 2cents in if you got a minute. EDIT: the game uses dx9 so it would be possible to fix but I'm not sure if any of the guys that are able to fix it would be interested in it :)

"Fixing" is almost not an option or a bad one. Simply because the main issue... isn't broken. Its one of those games I don't even have to open to know. Those hud elements have no depth. Even ignoring any issues it might have, the hud just wouldn't pan out. I wrote some code for side scrollers/overhead games http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/eqzitara/image/52a0473dcb8577c35a0000be/ but it pretty much doesn't matter in this case. Its impossible to make accurate guesses of which depth elements show lay at when objects are at various depths/multiple levels/camera changes. Then you run into the issue where you want to seperate only some text, but not all of it [which can't usually be done]. If you played X-COM enemy unknown its a bit of inconvenience but still works, this game just has too much "up/down/left/right" in layman's terms. Like it *might* be possible but its so inconvenient its practically not worth attempting. These games use more 2D then 3D.
