3D vision fails after Windows 10 Creators and new drivers update
1 / 2
I've been using 3DTV until now, my old card is a GTS 450 and my TV is a SONY KDL-40HX720.
It worked well with Windows Vista, some month ago, I updated to Windows 10 64bits, although with the first drivers it also worked, now Windows has updated to Creators version and with the latest drivers, 3DTV no longer worked.
It seems the card don't launch a 3D signal to TV, when you run the installation assistant, it asks for the standard setting of HDMI 3DTV as usual, but the TV don't show a 3D view but a 2D view so it don't pass the configuration.
I've tested the TV with a 3D Blu-ray and 3D files on a hard disk and it works as usual.
Does Somebody know how fix it or the good drivers?

But the question is, did you really clean install? Need to use DDU (display driver uninstaller)
Nvidia's clean install doesn't work.

Obutto R3volution.
Windows 10 pro 64x (Windows 7 Dual boot)
Now, I've looked for old drivers and I've downloaded and installed the 378.66 drivers. With this drivers 3D video works fine.
Something goes wrong in new drivers.
I don't know if I must keep this drivers or I must try the newest ones

I have the same issue. 3d set up crashes on 384.76. I used DDU with no luck. Is 3dvision so dead that this is unreported? Or are we just unlucky?
Edit: can confirm that 3d in 378.66 drivers works fine.
Latest drivers working just fine here on Windows 10 UP-TO-DATE!

Works for me as well, except for Path of exile and Guild wars 2 which both refuse to hook with the wrappers and crash. So I go back to windows 7 for those games, but thats been happening for many driver versions I am not sure when the problem was introduced

Idem, with windows creator 1703 with the latest nvidia drivers
You can't configure it or you can't enable it/pass the 3D Setup Wizard?
Right-click Desktop > Display Settings > 3D Display Mode > On ?
Pretty sure enabling 3D through Windows(above) should enable 3D in the Control Panel as well and eliminate the need to run the 3D Setup Wizard...

You can not configure it using the Setup Wizard
Can you put images like enabling 3D? Right-click Desktop > Display Settings > 3D Display Mode > On ?
thanks

Issue with 3DTV since 384 also with 385.28
When enabling 3DTV is crashes on the wizard.
Trying to bypass from registry and enable the Registry key to pass the wizard enabling 3DTV but there is no 3D in PowerDVD 3D bluray movies or anything else.
Enabling 3D from the Windows 10 1703 Display menu does not enabling 3DTV from nvidia control panel, it just enabling it from the windows but doing nothing with nvidia, there is a black screen flash like it's enabling it but no 3D mode or anything is working.
When trying to run PowerDVD 3D bluray movie when trying to use CTRL + T , there is just swapping eye from left to right , it doesn't duplicate or making 3D mode.
Please fix this ASAP.
Can everyone report this ? it already happened on some very old driver like 36x.xx or something or 35x.xx just the wizard worked but there was no 3D effect, it was fixed after couple releases.
Why it's happening ??? can't you check it before releasing it ? at least that it works once ?
If the Wizard doesn't even work and crashes when you click next , that means you didn't even test it. because it is so obvious that it's not working and shouldn't crash, the minimum is it to pass the wizard test, the next thing is to see that there is 3D effect in a game or 3D blu ray . I mean that's the least of the testing, only takes like 5 min. If you can't do it I will do it, just send me every new driver you are going to release and I'll check if 3D is working. I mean do something, think of something, don't just release a driver and wait 1 month to release a fix !!! what the hell !?! With ATI/AMD driver it NEVER EVER NEVER happened. only with NVidia those untested QA bugs
