Super great that CD-Projekt Red denied Epic Games monopoly. You know for sure Epic Games must have approached them.
Don't pre-order unless you order from GoG just to encourage them. Preorder of digital goods where they will never run out of stock is silly.[/quote]
I agree a 100% I Preordered on Steam however, felt bad afterwards. I hear you get bonus perks if you buy from GOG?
Main thing I guess is CDPR get all the money. Also I think its a bit easier to stay on specific versions of the game on their platform which could be beneficial when the inevitable fix is required. Lets hope it doesn't require a specific driver but april is a fair way off....

Anyone else disappointed to see that they added Keanu Reeves as a voice and character.

And who the hell thought that a sequel to Bill and Ted would be a good idea? It's way past its sell by date.
I like Keanu, so I'm the opposite of disappointed :p.
And I want to see Bill and Ted 3. If it's as bad as Dumb and Dumber to, I'll be angry. Hoping for the best.

Why are you disappointed??
In my book very few movies compete with The Matrix. Keanu made this trilogy. As if he was born to be "the one".
Nothing special about his voice tbh. But his facial features, expressions and body language were cut out for the camera.
I might even have had a poster of him on my wall once... next to Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris xD xD
An actor with a great reputation.
"John Wick" on Cyberpunk 2077 billboards was a bit confusing to me while the curiosity of "non-gamers" are being prickled.
His calm-bad-ass-poker-face and unique deportment is adorned by many.
From a marketing point of view it was an excellent move for CP2077, imo.

He's in a lot of good movies, but his acting has never been all that good imo.
BTW, have any of you watched Knock Knock? He ruined the movie, it could have been somewhat decent with anyone else. The same could be said for Dracula

Anyhow, the game will be great, no matter how bad he is, I'll hope for a mod that can swap him out :P
I love how they are advertising Ray tracing technology partner with CDPR for this game yet have dropped 3dvision, and I do not care what anyone says. 3dvision is way more impressive than raytracing.
I have two eyes.
(look forward to a forced required driver for Cyberpunk 2077 I guess.)

Yeah, one my favorite. I don't care about his supposed "poor acting". His acting IRL seems more important to me:

Without a doubt, i think anyone that visits this forum will agree with you. Proper 3D in a game trumps the vast majority of effects in games. I would rather have 3D than ambient occlusion, screen space reflections (or reflections in general), volumetric lighting, parallax shaders, TAA, depth of field (bokeh included), raytracing etc. All of these are usually broken in 3D, and i normally disable them if there isn't a fix becuase i'd rather play something in 3D than have these relatively minimal additions.

Yeah I think we can all agree that Keanu is not a good actor, like at all, in fact he's laughably bad at times. But that's not really why CD project red cast him. He's got a certain cyberpunk look to him that i can't really put my finger on, maybe it's his mixed ethnicity (asian, dutch etc) or the fact that he's already stared in movies like the matrix and johnny mnemonic. If i where to think about what actor most fits in a cyberpunk setting he's the first thing that comes to mind. Let's just hope he does a passable job and isn't overused. Either way given the stories about him and his general attitude he's one of the coolest celebs out there. He's up there terry crews and tom hanks as far as being good people goes.
