Not yet. Maybe before release, maybe not. It should be available at/before release but I guess it depends on developer + nvidia cooperation. I doubt it will be longer then a week.

He Siberian,

I'm using the beta drivers 267.24 and the shadows don't render properly. There is also a game-breaking problem with the scope. When I zoom in, there is no automated convergence adjustment and the scope ends up being about 1 inch away from my nose rendering it useless. Also, the aiming reticule in the scope is rendered at the wrong depth(s).

I wonder what I'm doing wrong...

Are you playing multiplayer? I noticed that the shadows etc are messed up in multiplayer. Everything was working great in single player. The only issues I noticed were that if you change the convergence your iron sights and reticle dont match up. Happens in a lot of 3D games. I hate it but oh well. Also, although you can edit the config file to display the game in surround the FOV i messed up. The game does not support surround natively.

Thanks for the quick response. I was playing multiplayer, yeah. I'll have to give the singleplayer a go.

But, in all seriousness, you're (the people at Nvidia, Kaos Studios and THQ) are going to advertise that this game will work with 3d-vision when it clearly doesn't. You specifically stated in the system requirements that this game was playable in 3d vision. A piece of the game apparently is, but even then you can't adjust the convergence, rendering the game into a diorama rather than a true 3D experience.

Unless you're going to support all games the way you did BFBC2, I might suggest changing the name of your technology to something like, NVIDIA Diorama Vision Without Shadows.

Well, maybe I can get another Science Project going this week where I spend all of my free time digging through forums and websites, eventually acquiring enough information to program the 3D vision myself.

I was calm, cool and collected before you began to advertise working 3d vision games that don't work. I was all fine and dandy until you started lying to me to get 50-60 bucks from me.

Your proprietary POS beta technology took a step too far when you began lying to you're Diorama Vision beta testers.

It looks like Homefront makes use of the NVIDIA 3D Vision kit but the game is not a 3D Vision Ready title.

I think that 266.58 will be O.K cause the beta driver add support only to the SLI:

"New in Release 267.24

Adds 3D Vision support for Bulletstorm.
Adds SLI support for Homefront.
Improves compatibility with Dragon Age II.
Fixes an issue where the NVIDIA control panel may not be accessible via the Windows desktop."

Am i right?

That's like saying, the avatar blu ray will make use of full spectrum color, but it won't use the color red.

The game is unplayable in 3d.

In the system requirements for the game, I think you forgot to add this line (emboldened) at the end:

NVIDIA 3D Vision Recommended
OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7
Processor: Intel Core i7 processor
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Graphics: 3D Compatible NVIDIA GeForce 480/570 Series GPU, NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit
DirectX®:
Hard Drive: 10GB of free hard drive space
Sound:
Other: 3D Vision-Ready Display
Time Machine: 1.21 gigawatts that will transport you to the next driver release

I played through a short bit of the single player game using the 267.24 beta drivers and didn't see any issues. Shadows render correctly and the crosshair is dynamic. I also did not notice any of the annoying halo issues that seem to plague a lot of games lately. I am not in a hurry to play the game since I am knee deep into Dragon Age 2 but may do so this weekend when I need a break from DA2.
