That guide is only for Helixmod (DX9) fixes, don't waste your time with it. Titanfall 2 is a DX11 3DMigoto fix.
That guide linked above is still legit, the same daisy chain principal applies.

The principle might be the same, but the specifics of how to apply it are different. I've never tried it myself, so I'm not certain how to do it.
The Alien Isolation solution probably doesn't apply here either, as it's highly likely that this fix relies on newer features of 3DMigoto, and won't work correctly on an older version.

I deleted d3dcompiler_46.dll and reshade32.dll from sweetfx files and it worked.
if someone need it, download from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/itgdtewvblfh0ep/sweetFX%20titanfall%202.rar?dl=0 and unpack where titanfall.exe is.

Hey. I just started this game with Helifax's mod. I couldn't believe how well it rendered in 3D! Fantastic.
Today, with the new Titanfall2 update, some elements seem to show at the wrong depth. I'm near the start at the beginning of "blood and rust" and the facility with towers that appears through the clearing in the trees is distorted and too close.
Is there anything I can adjust? I've already repaired the game and recopied the mod files, and tried the function keys. I'm wondering if I can change an ini value.
Thanks!

Probably the patch broke the fix.
Best bet it to revert the patch.
Or somebody, if is interested can update the fix.

I don't mind reverting back to an earlier version, but the guy at EA tech support thought this wasn't possible. He said uninstalling and installing would just bring me back to the latest version.
Does anyone know how to get back to the version before the latest update? I'm on single player.

Oh right... yeah.. forgot Origin like Steam forces updates on you...
I, currently, don't have time to look into updating the fix. I'm certain sometimes in the future I'll be able to update the fix though;)

In the meanwhile I'm trying to find a way to go back to the pre-patch version. I tried a system restore--it did not like that. So, I repaired the game but of course it's back at the latest version.
I read in another forum that you could replace older files to roll back EA Origin games.
If that's true and someone has files from before the latest update (Mar 30) to revert the game could you post a copy?

I still have the un-patched version of the game (not patched with the latest patch). Somewhere in Origin, there is an option to disable auto-updates on games! It will prompt you a new version is available, but it will not force you to update to play the game.
Go to:
origin->Application Settings, Application Tab: Client update: disable Automatic game updates.
If you then restore back, it will not force you to update!

Helifax, you're the best. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me.
I did disable the autoupdate, but after the system restore I got this error at launch: file cfg/client/st_data.bin header is invalid - np 16 !=15
The game wouldn't run, so I had to repair it, which brought me back to the updated version even with the autoupdate disabled.
At this point, I've spent so much more time working on the game than actually playing it... that aint so bad though. Troubleshooting is it's own kind of fun. At least I keep telling myself that!
