Signal Ops
[s]It's part of the current http://www.IndieRoyale.com bundle, Desura key[/s]. It wants to play in 3D but unfortunately there's a portion of the screen that only displays in 2D, quite annoying as the game looks good in 3D besides that. I tried using a couple versions of the Helixmod Debug but neither would do anything, any suggestions? edit:I went to upload a few screenshots and couldn't find them because they weren't named "signalops_client" they were named "p3dpythonw", so I poked around some more the other exe is a few folders deeper than the original exe. (signal-ops\panda3d\spacebullet_1.9\win_i386) I tried dropping the Debug with UseEndScene = false and then again = true in every folder, and all folders, I even tried "ProxyLib = C:\Program Files (x86)\Desura\Common\signal-ops\panda3d\spacebullet_1.9\win_i386\cgD3D9.dll" still nothing. [s]What it looks like broken: (scroll down for better screenshots ... seems to work good at 800x600)[/s] edit: Ok this is really odd, the screenshots are fine ... although the convergence is a bit high in these first ones but the game looks perfect in them, just not when I play. It seems like an issue with the NVIDIA overlay or something, the green text is cutoff where's it's displaying in 2D.

useendscene = false/true Only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

Yeah I tried false when following your guide on using other dll mods, after I noticed there was a file named cgD3D9.dll with p3dpythonw.exe, think I found the engine. http://www.panda3d.org/

*shrug* throw a debug in every folder. Might not be using the one you think.

Yeah, I tried that too. Really thinking it (debug not working) has something to their dlls in that other folder that it 'jumps' to. I was able to get it (the game) working a lot better after messing around with different resolutions, 1080p was broken, 720p was broken, but 800x600 seems to work. I'll attach some good screenshots. I really like the aesthetic of the game, it's simple yet stylish. edit: Still scanning? I'll reup them later ...

I really like the look of the game and how it played from what I've played so far. The monitor in the one screenshot does actually have depth ... albeit extremely low. So effectively it's a 3D monitor in a 3D game. :) This is really odd I can't take a screenshot of the issue, the partial 2D area, the screenshots I take don't exhibit the flaw and look perfectly fine in 3D ... Crosseye/Jpg versions of the attached 3D images (the cursor only pops up when take screenshots,ALT key)

I had a little luck with getting this one going last night, one of the times when I was messing around with a few different things(dumping the debug dll & ini anywhere and everywhere at that point) I forgot to run my DepthHack before the game, so I ran the HotKey in-game which pulls me out of the game so when I went back into the game(an Alt-Tab effectively) there was red text and the issue(partial 2D screen) was gone ... but then when I turned off the red text it was broken again. I tried multiple release dlls, which mostly crashed, and finally found a debug dll that actually works for me. When it's run using this dll(https://s3.amazonaws.com/HelixMods/*Oldversion/Debug.zip) there's no red text and the whole screen is 3D. So if you're experiencing the same partial 2D screen issue I was just drop that dll into the Signal-Ops\Panda3d\SpaceBullet_1.9\Win_i386\ folder and you should be good to go. :)
