9 series SLI + 3D not working at all (Asus ROG SWIFT PG278Q)

Well I found one game that is using SLI with 3d vision and the Rog Swift. Amazingly, Metro Last Night the Complete edition on Steam is using both cards. I did not test the frame rates with one card to compare but, evga precision reported both cards working, and I was getting pretty good frame rates 30-120 depending on the situation. Seems like it was close to 50-60 most of the time. I would say that is pretty good for that game, in 1440p with 3d vision on.
I`ve test it before and thre is a lot more games then you think. You know about Metro but also Witcher 2, Max Payne 3, Dragon Age Inquisistion (depands on Drivers Version), Dying Light (early Drivers)....forgot the rest but there is a few more. Remember about changing fps limit to 55 or 50. In some cases you need to do that to get rid of that annoying out of sync view in one eye - Batman and Metro is a good example.
If you fix nothing else... Please make it work with GTA V!! Sli and 3d vision support please!! Watch dogs would be a nice fix as well..

GTA V will be in 3D out of the box. It is on the same engine as Max Payne 3 so it will be perfect in 3D. Watch Dogs are already fixed by mike_ar69, bo3b and DHR https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/releases/tag/0.91-beta http://helixmod.blogspot.co.uk/2014/09/watch-dogs-dx11-3dmigoto-3d-vision-fix.html

Question about Watch Dogs though.. I have used Helix mod 3d fix. Fixed 3D Watch dogs at 1440p is AMAZING (not using compatibility mode)! However it is only using one of my 2 980's.. So the frame rate would be much better and not so choppy if it used both.. Is that fixed with your 3dmigoto link? I didn't see details about what it did there. So for me it is working in 3d but its limping along at 1440 since its only using 1 card. Sli fix is needed for me. Added later: BTW I can confirm that Max Payne 3 is working perfectly. With 3D vision on at 1440p both 980's are working hard. Frame rate is usually over 100 sometimes reported over 200 by evga precision. That game engine is simply amazing and glad GTA V is using it.

Unfortunately Watch Dogs and all Ubisoft`s games doesn`t work in SLI on ROG Swift. Nvidia knows about it and trying to fix it. We are not able to do anything about it. Just wait and test every single Drivers update. Good idea in this situation is to set other card to deal with Physx.

Yeah, bizarrely for Watch Dogs, the SLI causes a lot of extra stuttering as well. On newer drivers, SLI is not worth using there in 3D nor in 2D, because it stutters like mad when you are driving. You are stuck on current drives, but when I run 320.49, I get full SLI scaling, and no stutter, in Watch Dogs in 3D. (minimum fps is 42 fps with SLI 760)

Hey guys. I have the RoG SWIFT and 780 TI SLI and I can tell you for a fact that SLI did work with 3D Vision on this monitor a while back. I have not used my kit in a while and decided to try it again and there was a nice gift waiting for me... my second 780 ti doing nothing with 3D Vision on. I remember when it did work I would get a very sweet 60fps in Tomb Raider 3D with Ultra settings and it looked gorgeous. Now it's a 30fps stutterfest. Does anyone have any update on this issue or heard anything about it??

Interestingly, you both have 700 series cards. I came across this a few days ago. Perhaps some light at the end of the tunnel? https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/37hxro/nvidia_driver_update_to_fix_600700_series_kepler/

I'm also reporting that 3D Vision does not work properly on my system with a ROG Swift in SLI with two Titan X. Most common problem is rendering is out of sync for the eyes with one of the eyes lagging behind. There is also some kind of triple rendering that causes a ghost image (happens without SLI in some cases as well) And as other has mentioned, only one GPU is utilized. This whole thing is very disappointing.

It's only us 900 series users who are screwed since we can only use drivers 344.11 and above, from which this problem started I believe. I'm not 100% sure of this but you can give it a try, and do let us know!

Yup, this is correct. I had to roll back as well. I remember 3d working fine when I got my first swift in Dec 2014 so I decided to roll back to that driver date and that did resolve it. So far 347.09 has worked pretty good for me. Using two 980's with 3 swifts (surround). Missing a good bit of profiles tho for newer games but I have other pc's in the house I can play on. No idea when this next driver branch is due out which will supposedly fix this issue and I hope the gsync lights.

Because I have the exact same setup and it doesn't work for all games. For instance in Tomb Raider and Battlefield 3 only one GPU is being utilized. In non-3D mode SLI works fine. But 3D + SLI does work on other games like Metro 2033, Borderlands 2 and Dead Space 2. Could you please verify that it works for you in Tomb Raider and/or Battlefield 3? (99% GPU usages for both cards) Thanks!

Just tested Tomb Raider again using afterburner and usage is the same. Average 50/50 card, don't play battlefield games so I can't comment on that. 3d on or off no change. Obviously I'm maxing my set frame rate cap in 2d at 120hz. Can't run this game in full 7680x1440 and 3d; too demanding so I run it at 4800x900

Maybe the reason it works for you is because you're running surround rather than sli?

I'm running 4K 3D on the LG 558500 and I also have the SLI bug. Games like the Witcher 3, and AC Rogue, only use 1 card, while the other card idles. In 2D 4k I get both cards working fine in SLI.
