In that same thread, Andrzej points out that the CORRECT email address to send in tech support requests is tw2support@cdprojektred.com (NOT tw2support@thewitcher.com).
Hmph. I had been sending it to the 'incorrect' address.
Maybe that's why they never answered.

I've already fired off another one.

Wow. That address rejects my mail as spam and then gmail disables my account forcing me to change my password due to 'suspicious activity'. I tried it twice - same result. Simply sending an email to the 'correct' address does not work. Nice.

Your problem is not related to tw2support mailbox. It's google antispam protection which activates when you send too many emails, like hundred within 24 hours.

Just sent an email to support mailbox from my home address. No problems.

Well, ManuelG, I am glad that you seem to take a more active part in this thread. From what information you shared with us, I am now a little more optimistic that sometime soon we might be able to enjoy The Witcher 2 the way it's meant to be played. After all that's all we want.

Just a little reminder. A new beta driver is going to be released very soon but it does not change the shadow problem with The Witcher 2 after the latest patch. I am still checking daily for an official ETA for a fix. I'll report back as soon as I receive it.

Thanks for the update and your continued focus on solving this problem.
This, together with the recent acknowlegment by CDProjeckt, should increase everyone's confidence that the game will be made to work in 3DVision.

As power user's we should remember that our 3DVision/SLI crowd is only a minority of the market for graphics hardware and game software.
However,in the hardware market, we certainly purchase a disproportinate share of the graphics equipment.

As with the early days of SLI we were (and occasionally still are) forced to wait weeks or months for working profiles in order to play a game.
If Nvidia really wants to make 3DVision a mainstream product (which is should definitly be!) then they should continue to work toward early (out of the box) support for major game titles, and continue this support when patches or new drivers break 3DVision or SLI functionality.

I've just upgraded to an SLI 3DVision system and was disheartened to find the 1.3 patch still has 3D issues. I was happy to find this thread and see that at least someone official acknowledges it and is trying to get it fixed.

About time for an official update, this only comes to show that people generally are not just trolling around, but just want to know that an issue is being worked on. I'm glad that someone came forward to give a status update regardless of the issue not being solved. I hope this is not the last we here from Nvidia for the next couple of months :)

That news about EA is great if you ask me.
That news about EA is great if you ask me.

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Really?? Makes me feel like all the negative people about 3d have ruined 3d gaming.
I hope 3d gaming does not die.. But after this announcement by EA.. I have a bad feeling.
