I have a Ace Combat Assault Horizon Enhanced Edition to give for free to a shaderhacker. Or shaderhacker-account. Don't worry, not necessary to fix.
I donated in the past and I think it is a good way to show your appreciation. But the fact that someone uses credit to donate might not be the right way to do. ;) Just saying.

I'm not sure the best way to handle it, but keys for games is probably a good idea? For example, I have various humble bundles I've purchased in the past and in some cases I already had the games, so I have a number of spare keys. Most of them are for random indy games, but there are a few bigger title games among them.
I can't easily post a list here and we'd probably find that either the main games are already owned or people are spending more time actually fixing games than playing them....
Any thoughts?

PayPal appears to have increased its fees recently (April 19,2018 update - see https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/paypal-fees), especially when transferring money beyond the US. Are there any other, less-costly ways to send our sporadic small tokens of support for the great shaderhackers in this community?

My bank does 35kr + 1.5% if used in an ATM abroad.
With a normal internet purchase it's just 1.5% currency conversion rate
Recently I've letting paypal do the currency conversion when buying stuff.
I then buy in my currency and no additional charges.
When recieving paypal I've ususually recieved the final sum in the origiinal currency.
To bring it over to your own currency then they charge the currency transfer.
Small transactions between countries is no longer as viable but the doing €10 and up donations should still be viable.
We have a lot of people to donate to which brings down the value of each individual donation if donating to many important members.

What more can you ask for?
I think the community is too small for asking this huge amount of donations. This only works in a bigger community like 10 000 thousand people. In Geforce forum there are only around 30-50 people active. So this doesn't work. On Helix Blog thre are another 200-300 people but that's too small for this amount of donations.
I think donations shouldn't be the motivation for 3D here but of course it's always a nice gesture to get some coins.

This situation is much more simple than u can imagine. If even 15-20 people can donate 20$ = 300-400$. It must be a survey - who is ready to donate, and if 20 people pay money, other will get it for free, i suppose, this is not a big deal. As for me i can easily donate 20$ for a big title. This is how it works - the more demanded specialist you are - the more money u cost. We just have to consider it

I was able to make some donations through Paypal before. Since then they wanted to charge me as much as I was able to donate?? My bank doens't sync with Paypal since all the fraud caught up.
The other day I baught a Gtx 1080ti from ebay, 100$ (should have known xD), since I saw 60 other guys buying from the same seller. Day later that link was deleted. Few days later I received an sms from "Paypal" telling me my account was hacked and should change my password via mobile. If I was a gullible innocent person and didnt smell the scam miles away they might have stolen thousands from my credit account. Felt sorry for those other 60...

Thats really sad to hear. Thought there'd be atleast a thousand left.
G2A is another place you could save a lot on games. Never seen anyone mention it before.
I would be more than happy to donate 10 to $20 a month. What option other than Paypal is there? These once of donations where they double charge are ridiculous.
