The new method is more modular. Look at the commented "include" lines. Do something lime that (but uncommented) for a new file you create inside "GameFixes", like "Time_Crisis_2.ini". And put your overrides there.

I realized that I have to create a .ini file for Time Crisis II (as well as for the rest of the saga that has this fog problem) in the "game fixes" folder, but how do I know what the shaders and hashes are for time Crisis? I browse with the numpad 1 and 2 with hunting enabled? I will never tire of thanking you for the infinite patience you are showing me, mate!

Just like you dumped a vertex shader and posted the name here. But with a pixel shader (numpad 1, 2, and 3). First go to the "GameFixes" folder and create "Time_Crisis_2.ini". Then open "d3dx.ini" and write a line that says:
include = GameFixes\Time_Crisis_2.ini
Dump the fog pixel shader. Copy the part of the name that isn't "-ps_replace.txt" and with it create a ShaderOverride like this in your "Time_Crisis_2.ini" file:
[ShaderOverride_TC2_fog] Hash=9939a6fa14fa2517 Handling=skip
With the name of your shader, of course (this one is from Jak and Daxter). Then delete the shader you dumped. Finally, just open the emulator again and play the game. If you want to play other games, just comment the "include" line in "d3dx.ini" with a ";". This same thing works for shaders that you want to render in 2D. But it's a bit different (you need to have the three regex vertex shaders names to make the x3, y3 and z3 variables work in ShaderOverrides of pixel shaders. Skipping doesn't need that).
I will never tire of thanking you for the infinite patience you are showing me, mate!
You're welcome :p. then, I proceed step by step: I copied the .ini file of "Devil May Cry", then I renamed it (Time_Crisis_2) and I deleted the items I did not need, then I wrote an include line for "Time Crisis" in d3dx.ini file. I started the game with hunting enabled, I ran the various PS (page shaders?) To the fog-free one and I dumped the hash name, I got out of the game and the emulator, I copied the hash's name into the folder "Shader fixes" and I pasted it in the "Time Crisis 2" .ini file that I had created in the "Game Fixes" folder, I then deleted the dumped files in the "ShaderFixes" folder. I restarted the game always with hunting enabled, but there was nothing to do, it start with the page (PS) 0 and then with the fog. In the doubt of having made something wrong .... I repeated the whole operation for the 20 pages of shaders available, copying and pasting the various hashes names, unfortunately getting the same result .... in the end there is little to do ....doesn't work! :(

Post the content of your d3dx.ini and Time_Crisis_2.ini file in the pastebin website. There must be something wrong.

Haha. You didn't enable your ini file in d3dx.ini. You have to remove the ";" before the "include" word. That's how you are supposed to switch game fixes, by using only one at a time. Notepad++ should show commented lines with a different color, for example. I knew your problem would be something like that :p.

Separation and convergence are controlled by your Nvidia hotkeys. You have complete freedom. However, some games need (if you want) more separation than normal, and that's the use of the "f" hotkey. The "h" hotkey is for a lot of convergence presets I made. The convergence you need varies a lot depending on the game. Some need low numbers, some need very high numbers, etc. All of this is mentioned in the blog post, including the "g" hotkey for the God of War games.

I recently tried again with all .ini files unedited and had the exact same results. It is as if the 3D Vision mode is never being enabled at all; I just receive "Warning Profile Update failed!" and alt-enter, f11, and double-clicking don't seem to enable anything (but seeing as my lcd is on 60hz anyway, what should it do? Blow up/spaz out?). Is there some way to "force" my card into 3D Vision mode manually to test? I do not have the "stereoscopic" settings option in my nvidia control panel, but I believe I was able to get it functioning in the past (maybe by spoofing a 210m / 310m inf driver for my 3100m); should it be required? As I said, 3DTV does work so it clearly has 3D Vision in there somewhere... would it do any good to install 3DTV software and try again? Or maybe spoofing the EDID of my lcd somehow (even though I am not trying to output 120hz to it...)? First of all, thank you so much for answering at all, let alone so quickly! I am super surprised to hear that there might actually be a way to get this working! (meaning, use the 3D Vision mode of my graphics card to output SBS to a 60hz laptop monitor that is not compatible with 3D Vision) I do feel guilty wasting your time with any of this, but would be ecstatic to try anything else you could think of suggesting to get your plugin working on this machine. I rationalize that it may possibly even benefit others with older machines with nvidia chipsets and no 120hz tv's or monitors around.

Can you run the stereoscopic test program in Nvidia's 3D settings menu? You seem to have 3DTV Play as the only option using the HDMI port for 3D.

Hi, I seem to be having problems getting 3D to trigger. Followed all instructions carefully, ran the d3d11 patch via the sdbinst method just to be sure. After editing the .ini accordingly, pressing C will open up the OSD that confirms that 3D mode isn't triggering, so at the very least it seems the wrapper's working, right? I use a passive 3DTV that supports a variety of 3D modes, but SBS usually works best. I do 3D in Dolphin and Citra and in video players, so I've never really bothered with the 3D Vision driver before. The 3D Vision test application runs properly with the HDMI checkerboard setting. If I could just get 3D mode to trigger in PCSX2 so I could press F11 and get an SBS output, I don't think I'd have any other issues. I'm on Windows 10 with recent Nvidia drivers, 417.58. I'm really not sure what I might be doing incorrectly. Any help is sincerely appreciated. Edit: So, as it turns out, 3D Vision must be manually triggered, and the default hotkey is "ctrl+T". This is one of those no-one-ever-told-me sorts of deals, might be helpful to include in the setup instructions for people like me who've just never used the 3D Vision feature before. Now that 3D is working, the one issue I seem to have is that the left and right eyes are swapped. My TV can swap them for me, but its menus are a pain, so it'd be nice if there were some sort of setting I could alter to fix that. Could it be game-specific, thus requiring the creation of a fix ini? I'm playing Katamari Damacy and haven't tried anything else yet.

Did you have to use Special K to force 3D? I stuck to 391.35 drivers because it's the only one that worked for me without Special K. Not sure about the latest one. It's one of my hotkeys. Or use the reverse SBS setting, because you are already using SBS. "t" may have less lag. At least in normal 3D Vision compared to reverse 3D. I'm going to bed right now, but write all the questions you have in the meantime. I haven't tried your game, so I don't know how well it works in 3D. Remember that for the "c" OSD to appear you have to enable its "include" line in d3dx.ini.

Press "t" to use inverse 3D Vision.
