Okay interesting regarding ROTTR in Dx12
I don't think this game is really true Dx12 though either.
It's a real shame because this game is actually a riot, been having alot of fun with my poor xbox one friends this weekend, would be great in 3d.
I guess I'll put in my 2cents to Nvidia and microsoft too. /sigh

ROTTR is definitely DX12 when using it with 3D SBS it never drips below 60 FPS on my system when using DX11 same area drips to 45 FPS.
Nvidia has posted a performance guide for GoW4.
Yupp, DX12 is DOA (Dead on Arrival) regarding 3D Vision... Although, I did manage to get ROTTR starting in DX12 with 3D Vision though:) No crashes... just everything very "broken":) 3D Vision does work with DX12... Not sure about Windows Store games though...
Just try Gears 4 on my new rig and i m intrigued by your comment about Dx12 and 3D Vision.
So by "working" u mean u can boot the game but the stereoscopic is all messed up? So would Dx12 non-Win 10 store version possibly be fixed/patched?

There is no "non win store" version of GoW4. Maybe someone's pirated it, but we don't support pirated software in this community. With the protections on Windows Store games, I don't think this one is ever getting fixed for 3D.

Considering Gears of War 4 it's mainly a case of motivation.
There are a lot of things that break the sandbox and is forbidden.
During my prototype dll for DirectX 12 I reduced it so it didn't trip any alarms.
I'm honestly scared of the DX12 API unless it shares code with DX11. There is just no code to create textures or shaders that I have found lurking around in the DX12 api.
Going beyond the prototype over to a finished fix will be a major journey.

Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?

I think u misunderstood my question. I didn't ask for pirated version.
I asked if the lack of 3D feature have to do with Dx12 or not. So does 3D Vision works with Dx12 non-Window-store game? You know, like Rise of the Tomb Raider Steam version, not Win10 Store bull crap version?

Oh right - we have not developed a full toolset for DX12 titles yet. It's possible this may happen in the future, but right now we have no way of fixing DX12 games. But in the specific case of GoW4, the Windows store DRM will probably make it impossible to ever fix regardless of DX11/DX12.
Rise of the Tomb Raider supports DX11 as well though, and that has been fixed for 3D.
