No problems here. I looked at it twice though as first glance it didn't seem like it would go just by lining it up. But then just got straight over it with a solid push and it went right in. (a quick fast push instead of a slow and steady push)

I got nervous too, thought i was getting the wrong base lol. Actually if you take a good look at the box it comes in, there are some clever pictures telling you how to stick the base in the monitor slot

Yeah, I didn't notice that until after I installed it. I followed the instruction manual that came inside the box and it was wrong. The line doesn't go in front: the triangle goes in front!
So, if you get the Samsung monitor bundle, install the monitor base as follows:
1. Put some lubrication of some sort on the rubber shoulder piece
2. Put a pillow or blanket on the floor
3. Turn the monitor upside down
4. Triangle in front (follow the box diagram, not the instruction manual)
5. Base against your chest
6. Carefully lower it into place until it will "pop" into alignment.
This technique works well, and I wish I had known it before I received the monitor.
