I have almost 300 pages of posts. Dig all the way back to #1, the point I first introduced myself to the Forum with a problem, and contrast it to what you see posted on a regular basis these days on the Forums.

I dare you.

Dude seriously take a chill pill and get over it. Under no circumstance did I insult, abuse or offend anybody on this forum. Yes my initial post was direct but not rude.

You have interpreted what I have written incorrectly, I will leave it at that.

Thanks for your input.

No - you took the initial hint. The responses to you have mostly been to answer your questions. It's the "tag alongs" that brought me back.

As to "chilling" and ignoring the situation - how do you think the Forums got to this point to begin?

Purchasing a product does indeed give a person a voice in things from there, but it doesn't automatically grant the right to present those grievances with torch and pitchfork in hand and mob behind you. That's usually the last stage and not the very first.

Your thread caught my attention because the very title, caps and all, did just what it was intended to do - pull the attention of the reader toward an upcoming battle, like yelling "fight fight fight" in the schoolyard...

I dont know why you got so usurped by my comment....

You clearly did not read what I was stating. I myself did not buy 3 because I knew 3-way SLI is not working. I have had 3 GTX 280's for 2 years and 3d Vision fro mthe get go did not work nor does it now with 3-way SLI. You yourself stated it did not work. Yet you bought 3 anyways?

Anyways point being is, I dont care about 3d surruond. I believe eyefinity and surround tech, is dumb. I hate bezels, but thats me. Still doesnt detract from the one fact that Nvidia has much more important stuff going on and I knew that, 3-way SLI and Quad SLI isnt going to work for awhile mate. Seeing as GTX 295's were a huge seller for Nvidia, they still didnt fix quad sli.

Have fun not using your 3 monitors and extra GPU! Again as I said in my first post, sorry! I'm just a user, not Nvidia and all I can say is you made a bad decision.

What I don't get, is I've seen you post on almost every post I read, so why did you buy one more?
Lol, anyway my gripe is with nvidia not with u. So how are u enjoying the 480s in sli, u impressed?
Yep runs great! :) Its basically what I expected in improvement coming from GTX 280 SLI, roughly double the performance and 60 FPS caps for each eye for many games that needed it. Still not fully locked at 60 for every game though, I've heard Metro 2033 is 40-50FPS, and from my own experiences BFBC2 and JC2 aren't quite 60 locked with 4-8xAA and everything else maxed out. But yes I would agree with your earlier assessment and overall concern that 3x1080p for 3D Vision Surround will NOT be realistic with just a pair of GTX 480 in SLI, so if Nvidia really wants to push the feature they will eventually need to fix Tri and Quad SLI support, or users will need to turn down the eye-candy to compensate. But again, this is a horse and carriage situation, anyone looking at 3DVS would certainly be best suited to wait for the feature to release before expecting Tri or Quad Sli support.

This is a WHQL-certified driver update for 4-way SLI with GeForce GTX 480 or GeForce GTX 470 GPUs.
Op you may need another card.. :D as the update only mentions 4 way :) - All the same proabbly worth a go. - Things are moving in the right direction.

I'm thinking 3d surround with 3 projectors would be epic (no bezelz).

It is; but there will be overlapping light. You can adjust your PJ's to not overlap; but then the light bulb gives off extra light which will shine on the other image.

It's not that bad, but isn't perfect like you would expect ;) I tried it with my 2 Acers while watching a video.

I am trying to find official information that GTX 480 SLI (2x GPU or 3x GPU) supports 3D Vision. I am not able to find that, can somebody help?

I was able to find only that for 3D Vision Surround (multiple monitors) SLI is required (but it is not clear whether really SLI or only 2 graphics cards).

thanks manual, much appreciated. Please also test scaling with sli vs 3-way SLI, little to no improvement in performance'. Would be great to have 3-way SLI scaling up and running before the 256 drivers hit. 3-way SLI would be unreal for surround 3d vision.

Thanks again.
