Is there consensus on 3-way SLI?
Has anyone tried this lately? If it doesn't scale, What about in Compatibility Mode? In theory it should scale as well as 2D in CM mode?

It's hard enough to get decent scaling in 2 way SLI let alone three these days. I am not sure it would be worth it. Probably better with two higher end cards.

I'm really hoping that Pascal and NvLink put an end to Multi GPU issues. Let's hope NVidia doesn't gimp it on their consumer GPUs or require special motherboards with special integrated Nvidia chips/express lanes. GDC is next week, hopefully they'll release more info on Pascal.

Unless a game doesn't support SLi, I get great scaling in 3D vision, especially with DSR on a single display. It's a shame VR doesnt support standard SLi. I think my Pascal might have to be a single endeavour - I cant see nVidia doing a good job with VR SLi. Currently though, I'm usually getting 60fps, but its those dips below that every few seconds that really break immersion for me. Does it at least help with minimum FPS I wonder? Regarding Pascal, I came across this today: http://wccftech.com/nvidia-pascal-graphics-cards-spotted-in-shipping-record/
