issues with ghosting/flicker driving me outta my mind
  1 / 2
ok I have been loving gaming in 3d for a while now and have been loving it, until recently that is, I noticed that when I try to watch any videos in the stereo player I get the lame unsyncing reddish colored issue that many seem to have so after trying to fix it with the usual things I seen in the forums nothing worked. So as I am reading through the forums for hopefully a different fix I find that new drivers have been released that solve the exact problem I have hallelujah! well after downloading and installing everything I run the setup wizard and BAM now the glasses are flickering like crazy well not really flickering blinking would be a more appropriate term its like they intermittantly fail, rolling back drivers fixes the new problem but leaves me with the unsyncing issue. can anyone provide me with any possible assistance no one else seems to have posted a similar problem/or solution

specs:
viewsonic pjd6210
intel 8600 qc
bfg 260gtx
win7 64
4 gigs ram

hmm.... weird (!). You sure you updated to the 260.89 WHQL drivers after uninstalling the old drivers ? You sure your 3D glasses are charged properly ? Have you updated to your 3D USB controller driver to the latest 260.81 ?
If all else fails try upgrading your mobo BIOS drivers.

Sounds like the USB emitter driver is not installed properly. I just saw a thread that the new WHQL 'whole cd' for 3D Vision has been released, might want to give that a try. If you updated just the graphics driver you need to manually reinstall the USB driver, make sure to look at the release notes for the latest drivers as the install process changed.

that doesn't seem to fix it either I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the usb controller to no avail, this is really getting me heated, i even tried all the other "fixes" like uninstalling silverlight, speed fan, changing power settings. nothing will stop this abominable blinking.
