I play primarily FPS games and it seems like it's extremely difficult or impossible to use the crosshairs. They appear to be at screen depth (not sure if that is correct or not), but I have an extremely difficult time focusing on them [b]at all[/b]. When I am actually able to focus on them, the background (i.e. everything in the game) is blurry to me, like I'm going crosseyed. Looking through my two eyes individually, the crosshairs are placed at [i]very [/i]different places from each other relative to what it should be aiming at. As I look normally into the game where I can see everything in 3D just fine, the crosshairs appear 'in double', like the effect as when you take a single finger and touch it to your nose (vertical, between your eyes) while looking at a wall a few feet away. It's impossible to focus on, like it's at the tip of your nose. I know Bad Company 2 is broken right now (although the iron sights and red dot scope work) but CS:S and Portal have the same problem too. Just Cause 2 does not, as it naturally has a crosshair that is in-game in 3d on already. Toggling the Nvidia laser sight in the control panel doesn't seem to do anything... Am I missing something?

i feel your pain my friend. Many games draw the crosshair at screen depth. I too cant stand to play games in this manner.
Fortunately, many games allow you to disable the crosshair. This may sound drastic but you quickly get used to it. Its tough at first but it is well worth the effort. You will soon be scoring head shots.
Play games with loads of things to shoot e.g. left 4 dead.

dunno about CS:S but I removed the crosshair without too much fuss in Portal and HL2 E1 and 2. HL2 itself was a little more tricky I had to download a texture that made the brackets invisible.

We need developers to start rendering at object depth or give us the ability to toggle off crosshairs so that we can use the Nvidia laser-sight. Well, if Lasersight is turned on, the HL2 crosshair is actually rendered in infinite depth, it will only be tricky to aim at very near enemies. However I noticed a bug that this doesnt work, if the game isnt played in the screens native resolution (mine is 1680x1050)

I just aim between the 2 images of the crosshair, or turn it off completely. Crosshairs at correct depth are not present in real life either, so it's actually more realistic ;)
