Haha, Birthright you're live! Thanks for the info Exitios. It's rather nice when the mods pop their head in with some friendly assistance.
Anyway, from now on i can associate you (birthright) with stewie, a megalomaniac bad ass baby... Its a big improvement ;-)
Hm. I tried to change mine several times. Funny thing is that i didn't notice the "edit-symbol" when hovering over the avatar and instead uploaded/updated the coverphoto several times. silly me...
Let's see if it works now. Png-format though.

Nice one Likay! It will be good when the vast majority of medium/regular users have avatars. I've looked around, and this seems by far the best forum for getting help on Nvidia 3D problems (despite not having a huge amount of active members). The more we can get the community here buzzing the better I think.
Now if only we could have a sticky for Helix mod's webpage. I'm sure there used to be one.... this is the next thing to improving the forum!!! That page is the saving grace of Nvidia 3D over the past 12 months, and new users should be made aware of it from the get go.

Np. Did you rotate it 180 deg.? Looks like it lost the static animation, either that or it hasn't updated yet.

wait, it was animated? i didnt even notice...
i rotated it, thought this way one could distinguish it - seems nvidia forums mess up gifs somehow

Yeah it was just a subtle static animation, rotating it probably flattened the layers/frames of animation. I fixed it.

Was just thinking about how much more colourful and personal the forum looks now relative to a month ago, so I thought I'd dig this up. I don't know if this thread affected any others outside of the people who replied, but either way it's definitely a good step in the right direction. Thanks to anyone who recently added their avatar to the site :-)
Now mods, all we need is some well written stickies for newbies (helix mods, advanced settings etc) and this forum could really take shape.
Anyway, thanks again to the community, especially the modders who have really kept the tech buzzing for us Nvidia 3D users.

They have to be approved manually by the forum staff before they show up.
Weird I have an avatar pic in my profile but not when I post.
Maybe they don't like Pinhead. How long have it been set as your avatar? It seems to take up to 7 days to process but if you've had it on for longer I reckon someone at Nvidia said NO ;-)
To be honest Hellraiser did freak me out good and proper, I watched it when I was way to young... "Jesus wept". What an image.

It's just a head, don't see how that is provocative. I saw Hellraiser when I was 16 or so, it was an Evil Dead + The Thing double on the day of release when i was 12, well, Evil Dead at the time....... I left the room at the tree rape scene. Didn't come back in until Ash pulled the stick out of the guys groin and blood pours all over his face. After that The Thing was like a fairy tale with princesses in pink riding unicorns.
Anyway I set it again, so it might get a pass this time. Or maybe I fell through the cracks.

Ah, evil dead, what a film! Have you heard they are making new ones? Lol, i think there are some things that should be left to the past, but who knows...

Another guy added his avatar and it apparently went straight through despite being provocative. I get the feeling nvidia's avatar system is either partially broken, or the approval process has rules that I can't yet quite fathom. Anyway, thanks for trying Kolreth.

Yeah I am a bit skeptical myself, but it has Sam's blessing so who knows, and I read the other day that he's ready to do Evil Dead 4, which would be awesome!
