Ja, definitely not soon. Also the current GSync monitors do not support 3D Vision at the same time. There is no answer as to whether this is going to be fixed, or if 3D is out of luck.
As the local Projector pusher though- I think you should consider a projector for an absolutely first rate experience. Resolution on a monitor needs to be higher because it's closer. Resolution further away is less important. (Look up the arc-seconds of visual acuity if you disagree)
DLP projectors have a number of advantages over monitors, including lower resolution making things more playable. Most people will dismiss them out of hand because of low resolution, but then most people haven't seen them in person. :->

After few months without using my Nvidia 3D glasses, I was excited when I knew about the new g-sync technology, but really disappointed that we won't have 3D + G-sync together. My main concern is about eye health, and that is the reason I have been without using 3D for some months.
I think somebody should develop a PC monitor with eletronic ink (I wish I were surprised with an existing one already in the market), something like the best e-book readers. I don't care about not seeing colors, what I really want is to use the computer like if I were reading a paper. In that case I would forget totally 3D, unless it were possible 3D with e-ink.

Even though there are mixed studies of the actual advantages of e-ink screens for your eyes, my anecdotal experience is that it is much more comfortable.
I have been also looking for a decent e-ink android tablet, but a monitor would be great! (for secondary use)
