Guys, I've found this poking around google, maybe it will be of benefit to someone.

there is much more stuff floating around.
The last link is a crash course, seems to be very interesting a probably useful for the people with no programming background (myself included).
Including one more guide with intrinsic functions

Thanks for all the help you have given me chiz. A lot of it makes sense but I think I might have to "cut my teeth" on a smaller file first. There are 89 instructions in the shader I want to fix and a lot of the instructions aren't in any of the examples I saw. I hope Risen 2 isn't going to be this bad.

@Any people interested in doing their own fixes.(You must have already completed a shader fix)
I am converting each game page to blog later today. Chiz has shown an interest in wanting to make his own pages so if you would like write up your own pages let me know. So I am giving that option to everyone. I will give blog access / ftp access. You can post pictures/ embed videos(reasonable compression id say 350 megs (max) 10 min clip(max)) otherwise youtube it/post your own updates on blogspot/wiki. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2012/02/assasins-creed-brotherhood.html is an example of one I made. I like how we post here with our fixes but I am keeping wiki content seperate for backing up purposes like file server goes down/ keeping the avg "gamer" off this thread. I like how we have usuals who check here for newest news/ shader questions. I do not want people comming in and asking helix to fix their games/etc. He is a pretty much a professional whose been putting in his time for us and don't really want people flooding him with requests. Anyone whose truly interested will find their way here through links.

If not dont worry about it and Ill just make your pages. Also be sure to leave comments and show appreciation on comments section on each game fix page that you enjoy.

Technically the fixes are in the games themselves and not 3D Vision, so Nvidia really has no reason to complain about reverse engineering or h@x.

But anyway, I doubt they are gonna sticky this thread. Andrew is more interested in pushing his gimmicky lightboost glasses nowadays than useful 3D Vision features. I think the 3DV software itself is as mature as its gonna get, we're probably just looking at maintenance releases from now on.

Alright so I tested the Mirror's Edge fixes you uploaded, they look great and I did not notice any anomalies. I was looking for the shaders to disabled the depth of field and the tunnel vision effect when you run but I could not find the shaders that control them.

Also I don't know if you guys have seen this in any other games but the Mirrors Edge shaders are all in a shaders folder under \Mirror's Edge\Engine\Shaders, and you can read them with a text editor. They are also handily named according to what they do.

Anyway today I played a couple of chapters with the latest fixes and I did not see anything weird. I think Mirror's Edge is ready to go up on the wiki if you guys want to do that.

Misread your post earlier. Make a quick post with instructions and the zip I will add it. Any fix no matter how small as long as it improves "3d experience" I will add.

Ok finally I had a little (very little) of time to experiment with mass effect shaders. This is the results I've obtained so far...
I've attached the shaderoverride, if someone could test it please make me know /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

At the end I discovered that I can move hud elements around and make things selectively transparent or change their colors... although I'm actually basing on where the actual vertex is, thus it works but not in all games. In fact the problem with me1 is that the shader that draws the sight is also the one that draws parts of the menu ..so I couldn't make the crosshair entirely transparent but I've tried an alternative as you can see from the following description :)

This fix consists of:

- when you aim (dx click) the crossair becomes transparent :) (the transparent area is small and it shouldn't mess the menu... make me know if it does)
- moved all hud's elements further into the screen
- adjusted hud's coordinates so that you can increase depth without cutting out hud's parts from an eye's image
- removed dynamics shadow that caused issues (for now but I'll try to fix them)

@artox: thanks for the links, let us know how the transparent HUD works out for you.

@eqzitara: thanks for the access and for setting all of the wikis up! /thanks.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thanks:' />

@Arioch: yeah the big shaders make it a lot harder to just focus in on what you're trying to fix, generally I find it easier to work backwards. You know you want to transform your output position which will be declared as dcl_position o#, usually o0 but not always. Work from the bottom up, when you find that output position variable you want to inject your transform code there, then keep going up through the code and find other instances of that variable to change those to your temporary register. There's more than one way to increase or correct depth for Skybox, that's one thing I've always known about writing code (even though I don't have prior experience), there's more than 1 way to come to the same result and that most everyone's code is going to be different. Let us know if you need more help/direction.

@mana84: Sweet, I'll take a look at your ME fix later tonite! :)

@Mana84.
Very Nice I will add it to wiki. Redling Mass effect... Bought it from direct2drive who became gamefly /shifty.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':shifty:' /> Now i have to install this stupid client...Its so bad on its ME1 page it has pre-release picture of me1 characters. They look nothing like they do in game lol.

Wiki was remodeled entirely and is much easier on the eyes. Any suggestions/feedback hit me up. You like someone else's fix.. drop some feedback on the bottom of their page I am sure they'd appreciate it. Any problems with their fix contact them personally, dont drop it in the comments they may be able to fix it. If they cant fix it and give you permission THEN you may note it the comments.
For anyone not interested in all of the coding talk and us learning/chatting. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ Will be where all games are being released. I am letting all the people who make alot of fixes write up their own stuff. Just contact me via pm for info.
Games lists will remain on wiki. http://helixmod.wikispot.org/gamelist
