Thanks it did help. But I had to leave the "Adjust Video Image Settings" to default otherwise i was seeing some noise in the video. But that may have to do with the fact that i am projecting it on a white wall. I am in testing mode right now but I will buy a screen once i am satisfied with the projector. The projector has 4:3 aspect ratio which makes widescreen movies look smaller with black borders on top and bottom. But i can't complain for the price of this projector.

I hooked up my 360 and PS3 to it. The 360 is super easy to hook up since you can get a VGA cable. Looks great, I set it to 1280x1024. HD Netflix streaming looked nice, clear. 360 all worked fine, looked great and I was happy.
I then wanted to hook up my PS3, which took some time. I ordered a PS2/PS3 component cable from ebay, that came quick. THEN, I had to order a VGA to component adapter.... which I didn't realize was from a Chinese seller. Took damn well FOREVER to come in. But, only $9 shipped, so I suppose I can deal with it. Also, the quality of the female component inputs wired part are fairly thin, so I don't think its the greatest cable, but hey... Anyways, finally got it hooked up. 1080p didn't go over those cables well + the projector I think had to compress that resolution too much and it didn't look great. 720p however, looked wonderful! We watched Star Trek Blu-Ray and it impressed me. I borrowed a Optoma HD20 1080p PJ and this looked similar in brightness and clarity at my screen size, so I was impressed for sure. I'm not saying those PJs are on the same level, but I was expecting much worse, tbh. Games were a little dark, I need to change some settings.
Again, couldn't be happier with a $420 projector. :)
*I'll add this to my review on the original post too*

I'm considering getting this projector to watch 3d movies (and maybe even play a few 3d games). However, what else do I need? I have an older laptop (a few years old) but it does have an nvidia graphics card. Can this work with one of the nvidia drivers or do I need a new laptop? And what's a 3d emitter? And will a simple VGA cable work?

You need a nVidia 8800 or better GPU. I'm not sure what laptop GPUs work though. The 3D Emitter that is referred to is the IR transmitter that syncs the glasses and the PC.

I have the VS PJD6211 and my advice is to anyone considering getting either one of these or the ACER's is if you have to sell your granny or the kids to an Arab, then do so.
It will revolutionise your gaming and when movie content becomes more readily available , it will be just like having an IMAX in your house.(that reminds me,. need to get more glasses !!)
I was going to chop this in for the higher res. ACER but with 3D you do not notice the drop you really don’t.
I play MW2 and occasionally LFD2 , NFSS and these are AMAZING.
I also own most of the HD 3D titles from underbground 3d movies and these are excellent .
I too am going to wait for an affordable 1080P before changing. This beamer is easily an acceptable interim solution and CHEAP as Chips !

Thanks for advice. I will check my GPU and even look into selling my kids to get a new laptop...j/k.
What cables work best? I see that the PJD6210 has RGB and composite cable inputs. Or will a simple xga cable work?
pele01 - since you have the PJD6211, how is it compared to the PJD6210? The only difference in the specs that I found was that the PJD6211 has SVGA connection while the PJD6210 has an XGA connection...isn't XGA better?

I'll let pele01 answer in greater detail, but I think they are the same projector aside from more inputs. However, the pjd6210 is the only one that is "officially" supported, so you may have better luck dealing with the 3D drivers in the future. In the past, the 6211 and other very similar projectors had compatibility issues. The 6210 does not seem to have those problems.

My problems getting this beamer to work are well documented on this forum and with the help of users , such as Chibi_Chaingun, dogcam, bloody and AndrewF, I managed to get the damn thing working,... eventually.
The issues were of my own doing as i brought the PJ in the UK on the day of launch, without driver supprt (id rather be an early adopter than a lagard !!!)
However, since i think the driver set of CD 1.15 poss b4, i have not had to wear the damn glasses upside down.
(interestingly i did have the same problem with the CD1.20, so rolled back)
There is no real difference between the x 2 PJ's other than i think the 6211 uses newer TI opticals, i might be wrong here.
As for the cable, i use the VGA one supplied with the PJ as some users have issues with other / longer cables.
I use x 2 8800GT's in SLI and these whizz along at this res.

For the price, it's just ridiculous and so much fun.
