Hi
I set up a friends computer with 3D Vision a couple of days ago.
We both have the same Monitor, and basicly the same computer.
He can just turn on his computer and 3D Vision is up and running when he logs into a supported game.
On the other hand, everytime I restart my computer I have to unplug the USB cable from the emitter and plug it back in, then I have to go to nVidia Control Panel and set my Asus Monitor as the default device.
Both of us are running the latest drivers, but when I plugged in the emitter to his computer the first time it said, that the 3D USB driver was not installed.
I downloaded and installed it and it started working.
I never had to do that, but could installing a new USB driver be the answer.
I looked at it but it says that you need to uninstall the 3D Vision drivers and I don't really want to do that, I had enough problems getting them installed.
I'd like it to start the same way that his does.
Anyone have any ideas?
Mike

Hi
Just an update I did download and install the 3D USB driver and it didn't make any difference.
I saw someplace that "nVidia 3D controller device" should show in Device Manager under Other but there is nothing there.
The 3D works fine after I go through the process of enabling it each time.
