AC1 looks absolutely gorgeous in s3d. Only drawback are the missing or wrong ground-textures in the kingdom with directx 10 (but with directx 9, textures in the kingdom are displayed normaly, though somethings wrong with the lighting in general).
Apart from that, the graphics are like they were meant to be played with 3d vision, simply breathtaking. :-)
I play with convergence-setting like this: Altair is popping a little bit out of the screen-level, depth at maximum (with my acer 5360).
You gonna love it, it makes the graphics soooooo much better.

I agree with everything. Assassins creed is simply breathtaking at certain moments and definitely overall one of the best in 3D. Assassins creed 2 is just as good eventhough there's slightly more shadowproblems in the underground levels. I use iz3d drivers btw but it seem like the "rules of 3d" applies quite well for nvidia-3d too. I prefer to have Altair just behind screendepth and then set depth after like. All to his own.

Yep as mentioned by the others AC1 and 2 are both breathtaking in S3D. The graphics and visuals were already excellent, but it really feels like you're roaming around antiquity once you get your depth and convergence set properly. You really need to enable the hidden Convergence settings in the NVCP for this game and many others for the proper effect. I set Depth to ~50% then focus convergence on Altair while in 3rd person so that anything between him and the screen give a pop-out effect. A good way to focus convergence is to just jump on one of the stone rails so that its winding toward you, then tweak convergence so that the image is singular (no cross-eyed or 2x objects) and you should get good pop-out and perfect focus on every object after that.

Another funny thing to do with assassins creed (for 5 seconds at least) is turning Altair towards you and throwing knives at you! try to hit your own eye! (Ok, i was busy a little more than 5 seconds... )
