Stereoscopic 3D not showing on asus G75VW - everything is UPDATED!!!
Hi all. I would like to report a problem to NVIDIA support, hoping they give me a solution. I have a ASUS G75VW notebook and I've recently bought a pair of nvidia vision glasses. I've installed all drivers from ndidia.com/3dupdate, and I still don´t see the Stereoscopic 3D option in the NVIDIA panel. The nvidia driver version is the last one (314.22 WHQL), my BIOS is updated too (version 223, 1/7/2013). I´ve just formatted and reinstalled Windows 7 just to see if the problem was on the registry, but it seems not to be as I still don't see the stereoscopic option. I've read a lot of topics discusing about that, actually many of them said that an update beta 2xx (xx cause I don´t remember the version exactly) of nvidia driver would solve the problem. Happens my driver is 3xx and the problem still happens. I´ve done everything I could trying to solve this but I failed. I want to know how can I solve this issue.

This is a user to user forum, I suggest you open support tickets with both Asus and Nvidia. Laptop drivers are normally aquired from the Manufacturer, they can have minute differences than the ones found on the Nvidia website. http://www.asus.com/ROG_ROG/G75VW/#support http://www.nvidia.com/page/support.html

Judging from what I've read I don't think your screen is actually 3D capable, [s]extremely misleading on the manufacturers part if you ask me[/s]. http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?18430-Did-your-G75VW-come-with-3D-Glasses Nevermind, There's different model numbers, G75VW is the base. You would have needed to buy a ASUS G75VW-DH73-3D in order to get the 3D screen. it seems that the 3D capable model should include a pair of 3D vision glasses, and you only need to press a key to enable/disbale 3D. the rog key.
