Does 720p SBS look much clearer on a 4k TV?
Does 4k produce a clearer looking 720p image on a 4k TV vs 1080? Anyone know?

But why use 720p on a 4K TV? You can use 1080 TAB, or 1440 TAB, Checkerboard for active Displays and Line interleaved for Passive displays.

Its the only way i know of to get a 4k desktop for work and have 3D in the same display. With a big screen and viewed very close. I could try passive, but i went to a TV store the moment 4k TVs came out and tested to see if the passive lines in 4k 3D were tolerable to use at those close distances. It was a long time ago, but i made the decision then that the lines were just too big (for the very specific distance of under 1 meter). Maybe ill try it again some time. Whats "TAB"?

Top And Bottom. It's the opposite 3D type of Side By Side, so you lose vertical resolution if it's in "half" format. It's better for 3D in my opinion, because 3D is about horizontal differences.

Man, i wish i knew there was a difference using Top/Bottom vs SBS. I used to use SBS with Tridef all the time back when i had my Sony NX711, extra crosstalk edition. I never would have thought there would be a difference.

Yes, I learned this with a projector and tridef years ago. The projector was low res (1280X800) and sbs just ruined whatever little quality was left. TAB on the olther hand always looked like native resolution, just more blocky, and much easier to clean up with down-scaling.

This sounds great, but has anyone gotten TAB to work on a 4K TV, in a 4K resolution?

Does 1080p120 in 3D work on any 4k TVs? If so, how does it look? As Zisworks pointed out for their 4k tvs, 3860/2 = 1920 and 2160/2 = 1080 so....huh, super curious how that would look. Sorry for all the questions i've been gone awhile.
