First off, your projector only supports frame sequential output. So it will not work with things like a PS3, XBox, Set Top Box (cable/satellite) or stand alone Blu-ray player without a 3D Format converter like the VP3D1 or 3D-XL. Unfortunately, that model is not supported by 3D Vision. http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-displays.html Are you planning to game or just watch movies? If game, you'll need to find a workaround such as an EDID override to get it to work plus you would need an Nvidia emitter to activate 3D Vision.

Are you planning to game or just watch movies? I've used a HDMI to VGA converter with my VP3D1 so that I could use the audio out on it, not sure if it would work for what you are looking for. http://www.amazon.com/ViewHD-Digital-Stereo-Analog-Converter/dp/B0080D3Z24/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1366748385&sr=8-14&keywords=hdmi+to+vga+converter

WoW, I just looked up that projector. It says it's resolution is only 800x600. That's ok for DVDs but not Blurays or HD gaming. So I wouldn't waste any time or money on it, if I were you. Also the VP3D1 or 3D-XL wouldn't work with it, the projector needs to be capable of 1280x720@120Hz.

answer is already given; you need to get yourself a hdmi->d-sub converter box.

I myself have not used a laptop or Display port for stereoscopic gaming. You might be able to buy a Display port to VGA adaptor but I'm unsure if you could override the EDID using the adapter. So first buy it and see if you can override the EDID and get it recognized as a 3D Vision supported display.
theoretically any converter with hdmi input and d-sub output would work. theoretically.
Not all converters can handle 120Hz or 32bit color. If they strip HDCP, that's can be a plus as well. The ones OP listed did not seem to support HDMI 1.3.
