Some ghosting/crosstalk (assuming this is what you mean) is "normal" for LCD tech, yet it got lower in 2011 and will hopefully get lower in the future. Some displays are better than others. An ex720 was reviewed to have very low crosstalk in a FlatPanelHD review, yet others seem to have experienced more.
I went to the Sony store here in Seattle and tested out a few different Sony's including a 55" and 46" EX720, Tron looked great and loading up a baseball game that was made for 3D looked fine, but when i loaded up the 3D blue-ray movie "Tangled" and viewed the menu scene, which has tons of lights against a dark blue sky, there were almost double images on the top and bottom of the screen, it was really, really bad.

Hmm I tested Blueray3D TRON too - everything was perfect, and included trailers was good. Only in games my left (or right) eye still see faded image and so when I look with both eyes i see two ghosts...

Movies tend to be tuned to make cross talk less obvious.
The Sony's are a bit odd in that they use the polarizer on the front of the screen in addition to a sigle polarizer in the glasses, this makes them much brighter than the sets with Dual polarizer glasses.
However it means tilting your head slightly left or right can significantly increase ghosting.
If that turns out to be the issue, I believe that Sony provide a clip on polarizer for the out side of the glasses that make them function like everyone elses.

So I solved this problem with a PANASONIC PLASMA VIERA - TC-P55VT30B. Forget other brands.
Try this and you will get the splendor of the 3D, a clear image with no one crosstalk.
I have 2540 3D photos taken with the FUJI W3 ( a spetacular 3D camera ) with zero crosstalk in the PANASONIC PLASMA.
AVATAR 3D is more clear that on cimema, with zero crosstalk (in the PANASONIC PLASMA).
1.Update your Sony tv software/firmware, the out of the box 3d is horrible in this tv.
2.Dont Use Motionflow in game, I used to play that way without knowing that Motionflow creates alot of crosstalk. turn it off.
3.If there is no issues with the game you are playing update your nvidia drivers.
My tv used to look like the pics Crosstalk_SONY posted, it was unbearable, i couldn't play anything the first 2 months, but since the last 2 sony updates, everything is alot better, and with a little tweaking you'll be ok.

Is it just me or does this sound like an advert for Panasonic? Seriously though, all other things being equal, a plasma screen will exhibit significantly less crosstalk than an LCD.
I don't know if Panasonic make the best plasmas or not, but all plasmas have an inherent technological advantage over LCD for displaying active 3d content, apart from maybe brightness levels.

I use "Game" mode when I used 3DTV Play and it is jaw dropping. Color reproduction on plasma is very intense and vibrant (great for reducing ghosting). Any of the THX certified Panasonics will blow yer mind.

I have a panasonic plasma that i use occasionally for gaming, it is the best out of what is available tv tech wise, but it still ghosts badly, there is a long way to go until there is perfect 3d on TV.
the hmz-t1(visor) on the other hand provides a perfect ghost free image, but somehow lacks depth that seems to be produced from a 3d TV, so for me at this moment in time there is no perfect 3d solution, but one will arrive shortly and then the game is on :)

It is not advertisement. I am an aficionado by 3D technology and I want to spread my experiences so that other people are not cheated as I was.
I was disgusted with Sony after I bought the TV 52EX725 and they did not warn me about the problem of crosstalk. Sony knows the problem and continues to sell this TV as it were great. And they did not answer my emails asking about a solution.
I was a fan of Sony, but after this deception I do not wanna hear your name.
I have not tested other brands of Plasma TV. I chose the Panasonic after reading an article that said that they had the best 3D technology. And I am extremely pleased with the quality of this 3D TV.
Maybe there are some quality TV like this, but not more than this. Try to do some testing.
And the glasses from Sony weighs 61 g, it hurt my nose. The PANASONIC weighs 26 g, they do not hurt anything, it is lighter than sunglasses.
And tilting his head slightly had lost synchronization with the SONY. With PANASONIC it's possible to tilt 60 degrees and the 3D image continues normally.
And after this learning I can recommend to anyone shopping for a 3D equipment, do not buy one without test PANASONIC PLASMA. And the test must be done with 3D PICTURES, because film moving pictures, mask a little the crosstalk.
I have not tested anything with 3D games.

The Panasonic DT50 and the Sony HX750 has pixel response times just about as fast as the Asus VG278H, which has very low crosstalk levels. The Sony EX series has tons of crosstalk and many reviews have said so. Next time check out the digitalversus crosstalk comparison photos and pixel response time numbers before you buy. Plasma is not useable for some peoples computer habits due to burn-in. My taskbar and icons would have been long burned-in by now.

The comparison Sony Bravia KDL-55EX723 x Panasonic Viera TX-P50VT30 is very enlightening especially the pluses and minuses at the end.

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530

This is what I did:
1.Update your Sony tv software/firmware, the out of the box 3d is horrible in this tv.
2.Dont Use Motionflow in game, I used to play that way without knowing that Motionflow creates alot of crosstalk. turn it off.
3.If there is no issues with the game you are playing update your nvidia drivers.
My tv used to look like the pics Crosstalk_SONY posted, it was unbearable, i couldn't play anything the first 2 months, but since the last 2 sony updates, everything is alot better, and with a little tweaking you'll be ok.

It is not advertisement. I am an aficionado by 3D technology and I want to spread my experiences so that other people are not cheated as I was.
