When I connect my PC to my Acer projector using a 5m DVItoHDMI the glasses lose sync and the 3d effect comes and goes. The colours through the glasses go weird and the 3d effect is lost. If I wear my DLP Link glasses instead everything is in 3d. Nvidia 3d works fine with my normal computer 120hz monitor too.
I bought the DLP link glasses to watch films with Nvidia glasses too. They get their signal from projector effectively so are in time. I need to get the nvidia to stop drifting in and out.
I guess that the delay in the cable causes the shutter glasses' timing to be slightly out. I could get a slightly shorter cable maybe or delay the timing so that the glasses change at right time. That is when using the Nvideo player. In games both types of glasses seem to work together. I need to test more.
Any ideas please.
EDIT: I have swapped out the cable with a short one (to test) and the nvidia glasses still lose sync. I'm baffled.

Thanks. I did see it but did not have same MBoard and seemed a bit obscure. I was also sure it was cable related. My MB does seem to have that setting so will test.
Getting ready to eat my hat!
Thanks again,
EDIT: I changed the setting but no difference. Another film does not driftso maybe its 2x1080p divx bitrate that is the problem. It is difficult to see why when DLP Link glasses work fine.
