Well keep in mind just cause it says supports 3D dont make it true. Borderlands 2 is a prime example, they even bundled it with 3d monitors at some locations.
In the compatibility page, 3d vision ready but says "some effects render incorrectly"

Borderlands 2? They never made the first one ... that cel-shaded death-by-numbers travesty doesn't exist to me. Lol. :D Should have been GTA meets Rage ... oh wait, that's what Rage was supposed to be in the first place! An open world mutant filled wasteland ... still waiting for something to fill that void.

That's the one thing I really like about the 3ds. I didn't have to worry about preordering Luigi's Mansion and 3D not working right, or having to patch, hack, or edit anything. That was also one of the things that was so appealing about consoles, controller support, no patching ... which later turned to auto-patching, no buying video cards every year, no hardware incompatibilities. I could play Doom 3 on my xbox way before I had another PC that was powerful enough to. It's because of 3D that I even got back into PC gaming but even with the issues I'm glad I did.

Well fallout/new vegas is probably what you want. Probably played it but if you haven't tons of mods nowadays.
*Shrug* It feels kind of wierd for me to be the one defending borderlands but its not supposed to feel or look realistic. Its just ment to be a fun open world shooter/rpg with great comedy/action. I kind of feel the cell shading suits it.

Yeah I have Fallout 3, it's really good. It's close but no vehicles, I really wanted the vehicle combat to be bigger/better than it was in Rage, vast open wastelands, not the 'corridor' canyons it had.
Maybe now Borderlands isn't meant to be a realistic and serious shooter but it originally was, or so it seemed. The very first trailer, the one linked in my post above, has an entirely different vibe than what they actually released. That's the one I was really hyped about. It didn't help that I have no love for cel-shaded games, well the ones with the 'sketchy'-ness to them. Funny thing is I think I own the first ... an Amazon bundle I couldn't pass up, I should give it a try sometime.

Yea I got to agree. I kind of want to blame 2KGames but they did do Aliens Colonial Marines which was sega so yea....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ijwot_kW6w Kind of close I guess. Kind of pisses me off that I know no game will ever play like first person perspective of it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eag00K4GyxQ None of this happens/plays like in game...Its a fps.

When does this game actually release? Steam says 'Release Date: Mar 2013' yet you can't order it, not even preorder ... just add to wishlist.
edit: Nevermind wiki says NA May 14, 2013 & EU May 17, 2013 ... thought I missed it or something with everything that's been going on lately. :D

Thank god I upgraded from a single 580 to a 670 SLI setup last month! Benchmarks put SLI 670 anywhere from 2-10% behind a 690 so I'm looking forward to testing this out! Got my pre-order in for £25 at greenman gaming a few weeks ago and loving my playthrough of Metro 2033 right now.

I don't want to sound like a kill joy, but I don't trust anything these days. I will wait for some user reviews before I'll pull the trigger. It took me awhile to get Metro 2033 configured the way I like for 3D but I have to admit it looks pretty dam good. I'll follow the title and wait and see before I purchase. 3D support usually locks convergence and advanced tweaking. Sounds odd, but I prefer the games unsupported that turn out to be amazing in 3D after the community fixes.....
