I can't seem to get a straight answer through Google searches so I'll ask here. Can I get a 3D surround setup with just 1 Geforce 660Ti via the 2 DVIs and the 1 displayport?
I heard that a certain DisplayPort to DVI-D Dual Link Active 330MHz adapter MIGHT work but I never find anyone whose actually has tried it. Not to mention a version of the adapter you can buy in North America. I don't want to buy another GPU because I know I'll just upgrade again down the road.

PC specs: i7 4790k Processor 4 Ghz, Windows 10 64-bit, 18 GB of RAM, a GeForce 1080 Ti GPU, and Oculus Rift.
I'm fairly certain that for 3D Vision surround on a "single GPU" you must have at least a GTX 670.

Did some more looking around and looks like this adapter is the only one that can work that is available in the United States: http://www.accellcables.com/B087B-007B.html
One Amazon reviewer was an Nvidia 3D Surround user, saying after updating the firmware of the adapter to the latest version it can work with 3D Vision.
There is in fact a cable that works fine with 3D monitors listed at 330mhz. The only problem with the cable seems to be the required power for the active capabilities I ordered the following cable.

I just wanted to say thanks to Helifax because without his review I would have been unable to make an educated decision.
Edit: I contacted the manufacturer and the instructed that most USB ports run at 0.5 amps and 2.5 watts of power and the adapter requires 1.0 amp with 5.0 watts of power. USB 3.0 provides 0.9 AMPs and 4.5 watts of power. USB 3.0 works fine without any issues, if you do experience issues they recommend you purchase a individual power USB. Ironicly most phone USB chargers including SONY, GOOGLE, IHPONE and SAMSUNG all offer the same 1.0 amp and 5.0 watts of power. So if you have one of those around, just use that.
Well I got a hold of a Club 3D 330MHz adapter, amazon suddenly had some for America. It works most of the time but I occasionally get a static screen when in 3D. Any ideas why? I have it plugged into the wall, so I don't think its a power issue.
