Strange issues wit with L4D
Guys I have notices some strange behavior with Left4Dead these days. At a certain point the scenes in light during the game become blinding. What I am trying to say is that while I play everyhting is fine, but when I place the mouse on objects (equipments for example) and those become a little shinny, the light is very disturbing in the glasses and quite blinds u. And this happens only with L4D no problems with L4D2. So I have tried different things and at the end the only one working is: uninstalling completely the drivers and reinstalling (some times I have to do this 2 or more time until I get the result).

Any idea?

Ahh, I haven't used L4D in quite a while and assumed the video options for it would be similar to other Source engine games (like TF2, HL2, CS:S, Gmod etc.) where you get them all in a grey box and what not, I apologise for that.

Not sure then, there might be a console command that lets you disable it but i'm not sure.

This is a known bug (one of many in Valve games in 3D). Fortunately, however, ALT+TABing out of the game and back in generally fixes it.
