Unfortunately I am not certain about your issue. I am aware of what motion blur is but when I moved my camera around in game, slowly at first then like a maniac then slowly again. I couldnt get any motion blur. Let me know if you see the issue in either

Some wierd quirks in games can effect people differently with S3D. Mine was DOF(I still don't like it) but I had extreme vision issues with it mass effect 3.

First off, sincerest thank you to all of you guys. I have been enjoying my 3d vision so much with all of your fixes. Just blown away at what can be done now. Also, after watching your videos, I have changed to 296.10 driver and am now playing Max Payne 3 on my 14 foot screen in full 3d. Wow.
I think I have figured out what was happening, only after comparing to the videos you had posted (thank you again), is that the dynamic convergence that is in the game was not working with my EVGA GTX 590 and the latest 301.42 drivers.
Thank you so much and off to enjoy Max Payne now 3 days after I had purchased the game. Was pretty much unplayable now that Ive seen how it is supposed to look and run.
Also, thank you for your efforts on the Tera fix. I have used it and saw that you got down to only 2 shaders from perfecting it. If you wanted someone to do some testing with that game I would definitely volunteer.

is there a possibility to fix the crosshair ? For me it's 2D. The 3D driver crosshairs won't work.
And some shadows.... they seem to be not on the correct positions..like the shadows in Skyrim after that one patch.
WoW...This game is Awesome. The 3D experience is perfect so far. (only on chapt 3) I'm playing with a GTX 670 on 3DTV Play at the settings mentioned earlier in the thread. No crashes or anything.
Really liking the GTX670...it rox.
Notes :
-Panasonic 3DTV owners that are experiencing ghosting should pause...go into settings, Contrast and turn it to 1. Then go into brightness and bring it up to about 75%. This sounds extreme but it works perfectly here. I am using Convergence 20 and Seperation 100
-Panasonic TV should be in "Game" mode when playing Max Payne 3 in 3D.

Guys if you want to take some epic screenshots you can pause the game, press Y to disable the menu and then right click and hold to drag the camera round Max to whatever angle you like. You get to see some amazing detail!
This is one of the best looking games I've seen as well as some of the best 3D and some of the most fun shooting! Props to Rockstar :-)

I also have problem with club scene. I can get up to 1-2 minutes in 3d in that scene, and then my screen goes black and I can only hear the sound. First level was fine though. I have Core 2 Quad and gtx 670. Any solution for that one?

Hello,
try to disable the ingame setting "3DVision". You will be able to play it in 3D. But some shadows are wrong and the crosshair is 2D. But no crashes !!!

3D is EPIC in this game...I just finished the chopper scene and I was blown away!
-Character animations are unparalleled...totally Rockstar quality.
-Graphic detail is astounding. Take a walk around the kitchen when you get a chance...look in the boiling pots and you will see what I mean...and that's just the kitchen. I ran around the heli pad for a few mins just taking in the surroundings.
-Controls are very intuitive after a few mins...You will be bullet timing and getting extra points for throat shots all day.
-Storyline, Voice Overs are blockbuster quality. The dialog is very well thought out so far.
-Arcade mode is a blast try it for sure.
-FXAA really shows it's stuff with this title. The previously mentioned settings are perfect.
Now Rockstar has set the bar high for GTA:V in 3D...It is very unlikely we will see any poor 3D titles from them in the future. It seems like they really get it.

I think it's not in 3d in that mode. Also, I am not sure am I the only one, I have 3d vision turned on in game settings, but every time I launch the game i have go to "graphic" settings even though I see 3d vision ON there, I have to press enter to apply it and then 3d is actually on. I hope all those problems will be solved soon, because game looks like something really fun to play in 3D :).

Some scenes in the game will be in 2D...that's the artistic intent...I think you are seeing one of these opening scenes and thinking there is an issue. Set your 3D up like normal...set 3D Vision ON in-game. and advance the game a bit...you will see what I mean :)

What is your setup in options?
I got those kind of light reflections off of objects making them get almost negative colour (just like objects in water on skyrim)
This happened when playing with occlusion set to HDAO and turning up the MSAA.

I know that some scenes in game are 2D. Problem is (except the one that I can't play in 3D in night club part) that every time I launch the game I have to press CTRL+T to turn the 3D on, otherwise (even though it's set to ON in the "graphic" menu) game will be in 2D only. But monitor turns 120hz ON - I have benq with 3D led in front and it lights up, but the nvidia ir controler, does not, until I press CTRL+T. So that is not a regular behaviour :). I hope it's clear /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />.

Cheers dude i was about to post saying that i had the 2d cursor, weird reflections and shadow issues. Copied your settings and thats cleared most of it up, still a few odd reflections here and there but thats fine, as long as i got a 3d cursor im happy, lol.
Gotta hand it to Rockstar, they did a fine job with this game, all the extra GFX options it has and they seem to be extremely well optimised, looks like they learned from their lesson with GTA4! Glad i can run this at full whack and still run properly looking very decent indeed!

am i the only one who gets a lot of ghosting (on lights) with max payne 3?
changed contrast to off ingame but that doesnt change nothing.
in skyrim i get double the depth and much less ghosting.
also the max. settings are a little low on max payne 3.. and going above 50% seperation results in heavy ghosting for me (as i said only lightning ghosts - its like its rendered wrong)
also the sunrays in level one are terribly out of place...
enabling HBAO makes the game unplayabe.
3d vision ready? not really, i would rate it good to excellent.

Thank you again for your help eqzitara!

is there a possibility to fix the crosshair ? For me it's 2D. The 3D driver crosshairs won't work.
And some shadows.... they seem to be not on the correct positions..like the shadows in Skyrim after that one patch.

I also have problem with club scene. I can get up to 1-2 minutes in 3d in that scene, and then my screen goes black and I can only hear the sound. First level was fine though. I have Core 2 Quad and gtx 670. Any solution for that one?

And some shadows.... they seem to be not on the correct positions..like the shadows in Skyrim after that one patch.
Thanks a lot for following answers.
What is your setup in options?
I got those kind of light reflections off of objects making them get almost negative colour (just like objects in water on skyrim)
This happened when playing with occlusion set to HDAO and turning up the MSAA.
This setup works great for me.

Some scenes in the game will be in 2D...that's the artistic intent...I think you are seeing one of these opening scenes and thinking there is an issue. Set your 3D up like normal...set 3D Vision ON in-game. and advance the game a bit...you will see what I mean :)

I hope it's clear

Heres a screenshot of bullet time in 3D :)

am i the only one who gets a lot of ghosting (on lights) with max payne 3?
changed contrast to off ingame but that doesnt change nothing.
in skyrim i get double the depth and much less ghosting.
also the max. settings are a little low on max payne 3.. and going above 50% seperation results in heavy ghosting for me (as i said only lightning ghosts - its like its rendered wrong)
also the sunrays in level one are terribly out of place...
enabling HBAO makes the game unplayabe.
3d vision ready? not really, i would rate it good to excellent.
