I for one appreciate your efforts to a huge degree and cannot wait to do a proper play-through.
Well, you won't have to wait any longer. Full fix is up on the blog. Updates -Better lighting fix -Minimap bars removed, and weight bars on pause menu also fixed now -Water reflections fixed -Lens flares and sun pushed further into depth -And a special bonus: New ability to cycle through 4 presets to make magical effects and light bloom transparent. I found the effects made fights in tight spaces difficult due to not being able to see through them. Game is nearly flawless now (for myself, at least). Only 2 issues left is the damned night sky effect, which is ridiculous (seriously, even in 2D it looks awful. Even though it was a console port, I don't know wtf they were thinking), but could not for the life of me do a reasonable fix, and disabling it looks bad. Also, there's a blue fog effect at the bottom of the Everfall dungeon, which moves in relation to the camera a bit. It looks fine 3D wise, though, so I just made it 50% transparent so it's not quite so noticeable. And with that, I think she's ready. Anything else crops up, do let me know. P.S. If anyone knows how I can embed photo's that I've uploaded to 3D Vision Live onto the HelixBlog site, can you please provide me info on how? I couldn't figure that out, so just put up a sbs .jpg image.

Looks great so far. Only issue I see is the strips on the minimap are still a factor. But you do mention you fixed that so that's a bit strange. But I'll probably just play through on hard and turn the mini map off anyway. You have now officially been added to the pantheon of 3D heroes for me. =D

My browser (Chrome) does not support 3DVL anymore, and even when it did I always had bad flickering, long page load times, and the 3D emitter would not turn off properly. Also, you can't save the image from the 3DVL widget.

Great Work !!! much THX !! BTW: Stereo = OM in the ini file = Stereo for audio, this is not reffered to 3D :-) //EDIT 1: The fare away lightening problem is still there for me, for you too ? I can see the fixed shadow but not the reflection and thy sky mirroring. So I have to use the shader disable files I have posted? OR is something wrong with my game ^^? //EDIT 3: I can see that the lightening mistake will disapear using a depth around 20 %, but over 25 % the lightening is broken as you can see on the screenshots (link above). So I have to use high convergence to get a 3D effect. Its OK, but can this be fixed or is my game wrong ? //EDIT 4: Reinstalling the newest driver (361.75) with DDU and leave all things @ default and make no DDDA profil changes did not solve the problem. I can live with 60 % depth (no wrong effect with 20% or less) and a little reduced fault shadow/lightening (reffering to 100 %) in the night for light sources some farer away but ARGH is this only a problem for me? Even water is OK but not perfect. I will see how often I will notice thos and how annoying the wrong effects are...I can use the disable shader files if it is bothering too much. Using SweetFX or not will not make a difference but it will make a huge optical improvement using it :-) just add "ProxyLib = ...\steamapps\common\DDDA\sfx.dll" (without "") in the [general] section from the DX9Settings.ini, download this: http://www.share-online.biz/dl/QRWWC12OUWH and copy it to ...\steamapps\common\DDDA\ ... IF YOU WANT. The loading problems are gone after reinstalling the driver...I disabled VSync in the old driver but this did not make any effect as discriped. So no idea what was wron .... but its now great!!!

Great work :) I found a mod with an enb which works pretty well on this game. The difference is huge, and most importantly, fix the mod and go great . You can compare before and after- on the pics. I lost between 2 and 5 fps. The only problem i found it s the bloom. I removed it on the enb. If someone wants to test this enb : http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/77/?
BTW: Stereo = OM in the ini file = Stereo for audio, this is not reffered to 3D :-)
Actually, no, I'm pretty sure the stereo option in the ini is not for audio, considering it's in the graphics section. I could never see any detailed reflections in the water. In the first village (Cassardis, I think it's called), I could really only see some minor lighting reflections off the surface looked a bit broken, and I managed to fix that on my own game. I can install some to see how they interact with the fix, but for now, here are my suggestions: 1. Remove all traces of the old fix by deleting them. Do not just overwrite, because there are some shaders in the shaderoverride folder that were previously 'fixed' and removed and fixed in a different shader file, so the old ones will not get overwritten and will interfere with the new files. Namely, make sure you delete the entire old shaderoverride folder, and also the d9settings.ini file before copying the new fix over. 2. I also recommend that, for now, you entirely remove all files related to ENB/SweetFx. Do not just try to disable them. Do not try to install SweetFX or ENB until the 3D fix is working properly, and only after then try to install them because they could be what's breaking the fix. 3. Even better: Completely uninstall the entire game, and make sure the game folder is completely removed after uninstalling (if you just uninstall, it will leave any additional files you had placed in there, such as the HelixMod files or ENB/SweetFX files. Uninstalling will only remove the files that were originally placed there by the installer) 4. Reinstall the game, or make sure your game is back to it's original state. Load up the game without installing the fix yet. Set any graphics settings in the menu. Exit game. 5. As per the instructions in the fix, turn SLI = ON, and STEREO = ON in the ini. 6. Assign the DDDA.exe to the Resident Evil 6 profile in Nvidia Inspector. 7. Install my latest fix to the game folder. 8. Start the game. Cross your fingers and/or pray that it works! ;) If you follow ALL those steps, then that should hopefully do it.
Well, you won't have to wait any longer. Full fix is up on the blog.
Really well done, both to you and to everyone else that's chipped in, including of course necropants for providing the initial momentum. I guess Christmas arrived rather early this year. Regarding my own experience with the frame rate in DDDA using the first version of your fix, I do recall that the game stuttered with all of the shadows having been switched off completely, in comparison to playing the game with no fix having been applied yet. Which is why I made a point of commenting about that on the second version of your fix with the shaders having been re-introduced, v0.9, and that on my system the frame rate went back up again and the frequent stuttering stopped. Having tested the game again today with no fix, and then with fix v1.0, there's only a couple of frames per second decrease in difference between the two as another poster previously said. So I did both your fix and Helix wrapper a disservice. Just thought I'd clear that up. That still doesn't solve the puzzle as to why newer GPUs aren't performing as well as might be expected. If VRAM isn't the culprit, aside from the driver quality I just don't see what else it could be. Anyhow I hope you enjoy this game as much as we all will. Thanks once again.

Losti Careful if you are running enb, features the developer has put into the wrapper recently have broken the 3d fix. You have to go into the ini and turn off a number of the advanced features. Thought I'd mention it just in case that's a factor. On further testing I actually appear to be getting the same problem with the light sources that you are, and with a lantern going light around the characters heads are still wrong. Ill set it to Re6 profile and reset everything to default and do a reinstall if it's still an issue.

As far as I can tell, everything looks pretty much perfect, except water reflections. In areas where there are shallow streams it's not obvious, but when I went to the Witchwood there are larger areas of water that look like this: Other than that though, absolutely loving it! The advanced features don't break the 3d fix except bloom. I don't know how to fix it so i removed bloom for the moment. I got the v300 of the enb. Lighting effects are excellent and less clear ( blinding ) the resonant enb. You can see my pictures on a post a little higher.
