I-Glasses only have anaglyph supported?
I've got I-glasses HMD, and I've installed the latest forceware, and stereo drivers.

177.41 32bit for vista

174.76 stereo drivers.

running vista 32, fresh install.

I get the 3d control panel to come up, and it says my I-glasses only support anaglyph??

Any ideas?

There is hope so dont freak out....

Im sorry to have to tell you this, but as far as I understand it Nvidia has decided to lock out all stereoscopic outputs that will not be compatible with a pare of shutter glasses that they plan to sell in the future. Of course, HMDs are not compatable with a pare of shutter glasses.

For the last year, almost all forms on outputs have been banned.

It is sadly most likely that Nvidia will never support us again.

On to the hope. There is a non Nvidia driver that may work for you. It does Dual input now and a work in progress shutter (pagefliped).

It doesnt work for my Z800 yet but I do believe it has a future.

Oh, if you us XP, 91.31 drivers and an older GPU like a 7800GTX, oh, and one core CPU. you can still get S-3D for many (not all) games.

this is what I do.

The irony is that I would so give Nvidia $500 for a GTX 280 tomorrow if S-3D drivers came out for my HMD tonight.

but that isnt going to happen as long as the GTX 280 is useless for S-3D on an HMD.

I can be as stubborn as they can.

Ah, who am I kidding? They aren't being stubborn, they just dont give a ****:(

got an 8800. feeling ill....

been working on this for a week now.

Downgraded from vista 64 to vista 32 because the new stereo drivers wouldnt work in 64 bit.

I'm guessing nvidia reps never post in this forum, at least I've never noticed it.

Considering their driver says it supports stereoscopic 3d, it sounds a bit like false advertising for me.

Funny, I've always been a diehard nvidia buyer. Simply because they support stereo3d. And linux works nicely when I need it, but mostly stereo.

Would be nice to hear an official comment on this.

Im happy that this solves many problems (caused by Nvidia) for most stereo users but it looks like HMDs are out in the cold.

Also, There is a decent HMD called TDvisor coming out soon that may get support from at least IZ3D and maybe more but it has no native headtracking. The picture quality is said to be very good however.

Yea, I tried the iz3d driver, it looked like I only got one eye view on both lcds. I didn't notice any settings in the app for hmds. Are there some hacks to try?
