francomg,
If your version is "Jack Sparrow," and this entails that you pirated the game, I suggest google is your friend and figure it out for yourself.
If you're a PC gamer, c'mon, support OUR platform!! DICE actually CARES about the PC!

You're right, I agree with you. I just can't buy every game. I haven't played BF3 yet, I just hope the SP campaign is not like COD. I bought all COD games since 2007, but I've regret the last ones, and I didn't buy MW3 cause I knew it would be the same console crap. I know BF3 is different and revolutionary, I was afraid that SP would be boring like COD, cause I never play MP, so sometimes it's a waste of money for me.
I bought Crysis 2 and I didn't regret a penny for that great game, played over 70 hours in Steam. best game I've played so far.
I am buying Batman today, cause I know it's worth it, I've loved the 1st one. I guess I'll buy BF3, cause I haven't played my Sparrow version cause of the lack of 3D support. Now, I guess I'll have to buy it, I just hope I don't regret it and get tired of it easily like it always happens with crappy Call of Duty series.

Just Bought Battlefield 3, downloading. I just really hope the 3D is good, cause I bought the game for that. I agree that Dice really cares about the PC community, cause the PC platform is their leading one unlike crappy console port COD MW3.
I read in a BF3 forum that this new released patch that enables 3D in BF3 is completely bugged and that's why everybody is suffering sudden crashes and that Dice will release a new patch in another 24 hours, is that true?
By the way has anyone figured out a way to remove the 2D crosshair in COD MW3 for non steam versions????

francomg,
There is no "non-steam version of MW3" but if you look at the post here on Modern Warfare 3 in 3D there is information about removing crosshair, also check widescreen gaming forum.
Guys,
What I did to eliminate crashes in 3D is just to set my graphics settings on "Auto," it's not Ultra but framerate is far more consistent anyways and I pretty much only play this game in multiplayer where the graphics are the most demanding. I'm running x2 GTX 590's, 12 gb ram, i7@4 Ghz and I currently cannot recommend running this game in Ultra with 3D enabled.

Thanks for the help Photios, but unfortunately the widescreen fixer doesn't work for my "non steam" version. Widescreen fixer shows unrecognized, not Steam, so the fix doesm't work for me.
I've just bought BF3 yesterday, like you said, Dice cares about the PC community and Totally agree with you. It's a new engine and full DX11 support, it's a game worth buying. I've also bought Batman AC yesterday cause I loved the 1st one and it's must have for sure.
I won't do the same for MW3, I've bought WAW, MW2 and BO, but it never changes, it's always the same console crap. It's clearly that Activison only cares about outdated consoles.
I know we always must support the game industry, but I can't buy every game, LOL...
BTW, You said you're not experiencing crashes in SP, only MP in BF3, do you also set your graphics quality to Auto for SP, or it's ok to set to Ultra quality?
I haven't played the game yet, Origin has already finishing downloading and installing the game, but it didn't gave me any message about the patch. So, when I try to play the game the patch will be auto installed or do I need to login to some BF3 website or something like that, or is it like Steam??? I didn't see any message during BF3 installation about a patch.
I read somewhere that this BF3 new patch was totally bugged and that Dice would release a patch that would fix those crashing issues, are you aware of that?

I tested it again in 3D BF3, after installing the latest patch ... There are no more crashes with 285.79 drivers! I noticed that in the game menu was added the item to enable the 3D but the item does not work with these drivers. /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
