ENB dlls don't work with it as far as i know, but if you ever want to try it you can rename the dll to say foobar.dll, add it to skyrims folder then edit the dx9settings.ini in the same folder. Add to the [General] Section along the lines of;
ProxyLib = C:\your\steam\path\then\skyrims\foobar.dll
I already use this with the RCRN injector to full effect /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thumbup:' />[/quote]

Thanks for this tip. Now I can play with RCRN Legacy preset and along with Realistic Lightning and few other graphic mods this gives ultra realistic picture. I also fixed disappeared shadows (just had to turn off Zoners ENB).
Anyone knows are there any mods to move item/NPC info (that appear when you point cursor on them) from center?

ps/ Fights with dragons in 3D with deadly dragon mod are awesome.

It works perfect for me, no lag at all (i5 2.5K, 680GTX, 16Gb). Playing with highest resolution HD textures, 60+ mods, ultra graphics (only shadows are high), no AA, FFXA on.

And my CPU and GPU are not even OCed

Well I just chipped in too, even though this has all been said and done before. The problem with any threads on fan sites is that they turn into a kind of holy war and the sensible posts get drowned by the anti-3d mantra that gets mindlessly repeated.
I think the problems are that a) They worry that supporting 3d will hurt their enjoyment of the game in 2d (due to development resourcing or technical issues) b) They think it's a fad, c) They've been subjected to crappy 3d in the cinema, d) They have bad memories of their childhood, e) They hate the idea of a capitalist economy (i.e. profit) and f) they think it's a fad. Oh, hang on, I've already mentioned that haven't I ;-)
It's only fair to say though, that it does cause discomfort for some, so that's a completely fair point. Oh, and some dude on the internet published a study saying 10 percent of people lack depth perception, so of course that's another widely quoted 'internet fact' now and it's amazing how many people can't "see in 3d". Maybe they just lack depth and any real sense of perception!

Could somebody please add some more detail on how to do this? I'd like to run RCRN in 3D Vision, but am having trouble finding more detailed instructions about how to do it with Google. Thanks.

I use Realistic Colors and Nights with the Helix Fix. You have to add a line about a proxy d3d9 file into the config file. I'm not at home, but look it up in the mod descriptions, or in google. You rename one of the two d3d9 files, and point the proxy command line to the renamed file and it runs both just fine.

As for running in DirectX9, Skyrim only runs in DirectX9. THere's a directx10 folder after installing, but only because they put an dx10 update in the installer for the game. There's no DX10 renderer.

I think it's more about who they're in bed with. Obviously they're close with MS, since the DLC is getting a 1 month X-Box lead. That was the lead platform too I believe? The X-Box isn't too hot with stereo support. Also possible is that they're a Canadian company, and such companies used to favor ATI who's stereo support (AMD's) is currently lack luster compared to NVIDIA. That theory's a bit more of a reach though.

I just feel like for a company who makes the most immersive RPG's out there, they're making the decission to not put resources into insuring stereo support for bussiness reasons, not design ones.

yeah, i would love some instructions too.
somehow my skyrim hates 3d vision. it looks like skyrim on lowest (even lower) settings with helix mod.
i tried a lot of things - and i thinks the main problem i have is that i used many diffrent ENBs before getting 3d vision.
after that i installed helix fix and everything looked like crap - i guess i have to reinstall the game or something. (even though i searched 1000 times for old ENB files and am 99% sure i deleted everything)

when i install helix fix (after removing all older ENB files) the game has no shadows (almost none - although im sure its my fault not the fault of the fix as everyone seems to find the fix great)
also without ENB the vanilla game looks like crap anyway. (cheap console port)

right now im playing in 2d again... a shame as most of you say the game is so fantastic in 3d. something i have sadly never seen.
if i would have to rate my 3d expierence for skyrim so far i would rate it: not recommended

Here's how to enable both an FXAA injector with Helix'es 3D Vision fix... Because of the above post, I'm going to go pretty step by step (In the end you should be seeing graphics that look just like the 2D mode, no alternate textures, etc). ...and keep in mind, I'm on like 3 hours of sleep...

Essentially you're just going to combine the two sets of files together. In the case of Realistic Colors and Nights, Id just recommend downloading the manual install version.

Unpack the files somewhere, pick which version you want to use (Legacy, Classic, Pure, etc).. move those to the main Skyrim directory (note the majority of the files go in the main directory where the Skyrim.exe is, not the data directory where the mods go).

Choose a new name for the d3d9.dll that's included with the FXAA injector. I changed mine to d3d9rcrn.dll for example.

Now unpack Helix'es mod to the same directory. He'll have a file in there called DX9Settings.ini

Open the file, and add a line somewhere under the [General] section that has the full file path to your renamed d3d9.dll

Mine looks like this...

ProxyLib=C:\valve\steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\d3d9rcrn.dll

And blam, you get both in one.

Thank you so much Drayth. Much appreciated. My new machine is about to arrive, can't wait to try it out. Does Realistic Lighting with Customization work on 3D Vision with Helix's fixes without tweaking? And, if you have plenty of GPU power, is it recommended to use both Realistic Lighting and RCRN in 3D Vision, or is it better to stick to one or the other? Thanks again!
