I noticed that Bitdefender e.g. doesn't consider its whitelist if the app is in program files(x86) folder

I sent a small donation to you Paul, thanks for your hard work. Several games I have working, I launch with the fix manager. I'm only using a few actual fixes so far. Classic Battlefront, EA's Battlefront, BF1. The frostbite fix is working wonderfully and I'll be sending a donation to that guy when I get a chance. Most of my games I've tried so far work very well. Tomb Raider Under world, wow.

Just let me know if you're running into trouble for a game where the green info icon is still missing and I'll look into that game. Yeah Tomb Raider Underworld indeed does not look bad concerning its age. Stereo 3D even makes older graphics engines pretty stunning in my opinion.

Hi there. I'm trying to use 3D fix manager so I don't have to go into the registry every time to apply the 3D depth hack. Is there a way to globablly applly the depth hack? If so, once applied, can I close down 3D Fix Manager and launch the game normally? I'm unable to launch my game. I click on create, type in the name I'd like to call the game/profile, and then I point to the game's EXE launcher. After I do that, I click Save Changes. The game then does not show up on installed games, only on all games. Not only that, but there's no button for me to launch the game. I also went to Settings --> Application Settings and added the game's folder there to try and detect but it's still not detecting it. On top of that, some times I cannot access Settings --> Nvidia 3D sSettings because I keep getting the pop-up telling me I have the wrong driver (I have 430.xx). Other times I luck out and can access it. Some times I cannot access the Settings tab at all (same pop up regarding driver version) then other times I can access it fine. It's inconsistent. Also, under Settings --> Nvidia 3D Settings --> 3D Depth / 3D Vision Shutter Glasses I do have 3D depth multiplier checked and set to 2. Does this mean I don't need to set it in each game's profile because this page is a globabl profile? If so, I don't think it's working. Another thing. Under Nvidia 3D Settings --> Enable / set up 3D Functionality, it says "Enable Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D" is unchecked but this doesn't make sense because it definitely is enabled in my Nvidia Control Panel. This program is amazing, I thank you so much. Maybe if there's some advice I could give would be to stream line all the settings and make things a little more simpler.

Hi spin*1. I will attach the original bat file I got from TsaebehT's link. Just delete ".jpg" in file name and edit with notepad or notepad++ In the 3rd line you will see: Set "$MonitorSize=19" I use 19 for my 27" monitor which is more or less the same as my IPD at maximum separation. Save it somewhere on your desktop and, NB!, run as admin. This was the old way which I still sometimes use. (Actually had to use it recently because I've stumbled over a bug myself.) After fresh driver installations you will need to run it again. So keep it somewhere saved among other important stuff like drivers or edids. Separation I find to be global. But your convergence for each game is saved separately with the shortcut key you will find in nVidia control panel or 3d Fix Manager under "Save in-game changes" By the sound of it your system seems to be a bit buggy. If you have problems with certain games just follow the instructions on the Helix mod page to do it manually. It is also very simple in most cases. imho and from experience, if your games and operating system are legit you shouldn't run into serious problems. Something might be out dated or you might have viruses. If not, your antivirus sometimes could interfere. So you might try turning this off and see if there are any differences. Also do a fresh driver installation using DDU. I've had win 8.1 for many years and never had one single problem with this in conjunction with 3d vision or the fixes of this community.

Paul, I ran your beta on my W7 install. It did everything you said apart from a restart which the Nvidia drivers asked for. The 3d setup completed successfully, the 3d photos worked, emitter activated + I tested Witcher 3 and everything worked as expected. That's with system spec as per my signature, i.e. RTX2080TI. Well done to you and the others that laid the groundwork.

Btw it's ok to restart your PC directly after the Geforce driver setup is completed. When trying to play in 3D / enable 3D 3DFM will warn you then that the 3D Vision driver is still missing and asks you wether to install it automatically.

Hi spin*1, thx for your feedback. The popup complaining about the wrong driver will be removed with the next version. 3DFM will allow you to use the latest driver then. Also 3DFM will check if the 3D Vision driver is installed and installs it for you if required. Concerning your issue that 3D toggle is off although 3D is on in Nvidia Control Panel I just found a way to improve that. Seems like the C# NVAPI wrapper got updated with Stereo 3D support so I can check directly via API if 3D is enabled or not. That should be more reliable.
Yes it's a global feature. It should work if you haven't locked / write protected your Nvidia Stereo 3D registry key manually. If locked 3DFM cannot do the required changes there. Just tested in Witcher 3 if still working with depth multiplier set to 4.0. I saw everything doubled due to the very high 3D depth :).
I'm unable to launch my game. I click on create, type in the name I'd like to call the game/profile, and then I point to the game's EXE launcher. After I do that, I click Save Changes.
For creating new profiles type in the name of the game and click on "Search Steam DB". Confirm the dialog and save changes. If the game is not detected add a "Custom root / game path". The rest of the settings in the page can be ignored. I should have added two GUI masks - a simple one and an advanced one. Yes I agree that the application is partially too complicated. I'm thinking about doing the app from scratch with a better gui, better performance / code and more usability while still maintaining the current branch of this app. But that might take a while until it's finished.

The driver installation work, and 3D tested good with the new drivers :) However, I cant get any game to work in 3D yet. So far I have tried Arkham knight, MK11, and they both crash when 3D is enable. I've also tried Battlefront II and all I get is a black screen. Will keep testing.
