Any reason you can't use 3D Glasses w/ charging cable attached?
So my glasses fizzled out (mostly) and I bought a new pair and they arrived dead.
My old glasses work fine when they are connected to the charger... it seems the charge doesn't last very long and after about 30 minutes of use the amber light starts blinking again.
Should there be any concerns with just continuing to use the old glasses with the charge cable connected and plugged in?
Bit concerned at this point that I won't be able to find a new pair of glasses since they all seem to be dead on arrival (seems most of the new pairs from 3rd party sellers have been sitting a while since they're 10 years old.. I wonder if they're all not dead)

I got a new pair (3D Vision 2) two weeks ago. Initial charge lasted around 10 hours. Recharged them and they are as good as new.
Regarding using glasses with the cable plugged-in: No problem:) You can use them as much as you like (one of my 2009 3D Vision 1 glasses battery decided to die... I used them for over a week before changing the battery with a new one. No problems when using the USB cable:) )

Thank you Helifax! Did you buy from just any 3rd party seller on Amazon/Ebay or from somewhere specific? And you can actually change the lithium battery in them? I thought I read somewhere that you can't... if I can open it up and throw a new lithium cell in there that would be the easiest.

I found this link in case anyone comes across this thread in the future:

A few years ago, NewEgg had a fire sale on V1 3D Vision kits for something around $65.
I bought 3 kits and received 3 dead glasses, that would not charge.
I solved the issue by pulse charging them (as suggested by Bloody), using a phone charger and power strip with a switch.
I repeatedly flipped the power strip switch off and on for the length of a movie.
They are all still currently working, as well as my original pair from 2009.

Thanks D-Man11 I did of course see your original post. I will try it but did you leave them on each time for a few seconds or just repeatedly flip the switch instantly on and off for the length of the movie?

I bought mine from Amazon (last pair). Previous pair was from DELL (With my Laptop) and the 2 previous were from Romania and Bulgaria (back in 2009/2010). But all still work! (One one of them I had to change the battery as the charge wouldn't last more than 20 minutes. But after almost 10 years, that doesn't surprise me:) )

Then, charge for 3-4 hours.
I did it while watching Netfix/Movies.
