Assassins Creed 2 has got 3d patch?
I am a little late with this post as i noticed this some week ago. I bought AC2 on the release and played it in 3d. It was fairly good in 3d on low depth but there was a bit of ghosting especially if you looked at the city from far away.

Then when i was about 3/4 into the game i noticed that the ubisoft launcher updated the game and after that the 3d was very very much better!, there was practicly no ghosting at all beside the sky anymore and i ramped up my depth about 30-40% from there on. Do anyone know if there was a 3d patch included in that patch? I ask myself if i was only imagining things but i think not.

did you update your drivers? I know they added a profile, maybe it fixed some issues. Anyway, it's great news that it looks better. really looking forward to playing this game.

I have the latest AC2 patch and the CD 1.23 drivers installed also, and it does look great however there is a fair bit of ghosting due to the use of rather bright backgrounds throughout the game. You're up on roofs alot, and hence the sky is often your background - that probably does not lend itself very well to a good S3D experience. I play with 3D off, all settings maxed, and honestly the cities in Italia look jaw-droppingly photorealistic.

I`ve checked the game with the new profile of CD 1.23 and with the patched game. Unfortunately I couldn't recognize significant differences. The problems (sky and diffuse shadows at wrong depth) remained the same :( Ghosting never had been a problem for me in this game - may be I've got used to it and learned to ignore it? I always play with 100% depth. If there would be a fix that solves the problem with the sky this game could be a reference title for S3D gameplay...

I SECOND THAT...

What is wrong with these developers? the first AC has the exact same issue. How hard can it be to move it up a notch and further away?
