Ok, so I've made a couple more additions, and unless anything else comes up I think this one is done. Latest updates: -Auto-crosshair now works on any setting. Does not require to be toggled on or off. You can still adjust HUD depth using \ key -Fixed decals floating over walls/ground. Uses an approx fix that I derived my own unique formula based on the characteristics of this issue, so might not be correct on all setups. Can toggle off/on with the [ key. -Volumetric light fix adjustment moved to ] key. But again, is best to hard code the value in the d3dx.ini file as per original post. Something is WRONG with the latest version. It crashes for me on 2 machines:( But the previous one WIP1 works... It seems is related to the INI file. If I swap it with the old one it doesn't crash... Need to look more into it.

Does it crash on startup, or does it crash during gameplay? Here, you can try using the version of my ini file that I use during my debugging, but I doubt it'll make much of a difference, but at least it'll give a log if it does crash.
Does it crash on startup, or does it crash during gameplay? Here, you can try using the version of my ini file that I use during my debugging, but I doubt it'll make much of a difference.
Right;) Found the culprit. Since this a release version, you need to set these lines to zero:
export_fixed=0 ; save all shaders sent to DX11 as ASM, or as HLSL text files if compiled by game. export_shaders=0 ; save all shaders seen as HLSL code, autofixed or not. 1= HLSL only, 2=HLSL+OriginalASM, 3=HLSL+OriginalASM+RecompiledASM export_hlsl=0
They were set to zero in WIP1. I see in WIP3 they are set to 1,1,3. Setting them back to 0,0,0 stops the crash on start-up and everything works perfect!. Weird that it crashes there though. If you can make this modification before putting the fix on HelixMod, that would be awesome;) All the rest is working now for me as well;) Depth Crosshair, Mono Bloom/point-lights is fixed as well ;) Awesome awesome job!

Ahh yeah, forgot I reenabled those. Thanks for tracking that down. I've already gone ahead and reuploaded the WIP3 to make sure it doesn't affect anyone else.

got it working. i found out i have to turn everytime firs into to windowed or borderless fullscreen and then back to fullscreen to enable 3D. Pretty good looking fix. I wonder how it´s so big of a job to developpers to make these 3d ready from the ground up if you guys here fix these on your spare time.
