Will be a nice alternative when playing some 3rd person action games witha 360 controller. Thanks for support offer Josh/Andrew but looks like the problem was user error. Thanks again for the CB update!

You mean I was right? well there's a first time for everything :) Glad it's working properly now. @Josh/Andrew Could one of you please sticky a thread informing 3D TV Play users the steps they need to follow to get their display added to the requirement list. It would hopefully end some of repeated threads asking about displays not on the list. Although it is in the FAQ, it's not so easy to find, that is, unless you happen to notice that there's a link in Andrews sig http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2774

Does anyone know of any 2013 HDTV's that still support 3D checkerboard. My LG 60PZ550 needs to be replaced. I really liked playing in 3D with 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz with checkerboard. LG still supports it, but since my TV only lasted a little over 2 years, I would like to stay away from LG now.

Yeah, its been confirmed that, aside from any print mistakes in manuals, any 2013 Samsung TV that has "pixel" mode is checkerboard.

Don't think this is supported on Vizio tv models. I just get a bunch of dots and double images.
Don't think this is supported on Vizio tv models. I had turned scaling on the GPU on, when it should have either been disabled or in my case set to the TV because it can handle other resolutions in 3D.
The great deal about having CheckerBoard + Frame Packing at the same time without having to keep changing EDIDs, is that we need Frame Packing for bluray3D playback, but for those who can benefit from CB, like Samsung 3DTV owners, we can now game at 1080p60hz.
I just got a Samsung 65" F7050 3DTV, and I don't think it supports checkerboard. When I press the 3D button while displaying a non-frame-packed image, the only options I get are 2D -> 3D upscaling, TB, and SBS.

I was looking at something that supported checkerboard but I am seriously looking at a 3DTV that is officially supported by TriDef. I am looking at a Samsung LEDTV and might see what kind of sales there are after Christmas when I have a free paycheck to throw at one. I don't think Samsung has any that support checkerboard as far as I can tell.

@n00neimp0rtant have you changed the input label to PC? Source > Tools > change to PC if you dont, you will only see a handful of 3D options.
