Awesome news!!!
Yet very strange that setting it to fullscreen somehow messes up the drivers! This is the first I heard of;)
But really great info right here!
I'll port some of the info to the main page of the thread;) Thanks for the feedback;)

Tested yesterday and no differences between these settings and micro stuttering for me.
It stutters like Wolfenstein for example and thats also Open GL, isnt it?
Maybe this could be the problem with my Sys.

Actually now. Started Gaming and noticed the framerate is smooth only when the setting say fullscreen when i start the
Game and the change to Windowed. So i would need to change the output Back to fullscreen before quitting game so it's
On fullscreen when next time restarting.
But there was another hickup. After moving some the stereo loses synch. This could be something only i suffer as i have problems with
3D vision so sometimes starting wrong. The left and right switched and signal like Vsynch off, Bad tearing. Then i have to start and stop the 3D vision many times, and random time after restarting left and right are right and the Vsynch is on.
This could be only me and the "display" i use. As my display recieving 3D vision signal is 3D demultiplexer geobox that Sends Distinct signal 1080p@60hz to left and right projectors
Im not asking solution, merely stating, drivers don't matter as i used to use 350.50 and now in the nevest drivers but merely stating
My status if it helposti anyone.
It 's the only game that the 3D synch broken down on me. Propably it has something to do with the stupi OpenGL engine.
I never got the outlast Also work properly.
Allthough i remember getting Rage to work perfectly on 3D

The wrapper by helifax requires that you have a GPU(s) with the horsepower to maintain a constant 120FPS/60 per eye. You could try reducing your resolution maybe, that's if Nvidia will allow you to do so without them disabling 3D or putting a red-warning overlay across the screen.

I do not have the game, I do know that his wrapper can have some problems when moving if you can not maintain a constant frame rate.
And I should have known that you have 4.3Ghz+gtx980ti under the hood.
If I were you, I would check with the GeoBox manufacturer for new firmware, they can be upgraded in the wild.
question for helifax.
about the wrapper. the site 3dsurrondgaming also offers link to different versions of the wrapper
along with gamefixes. do i also need to download the wrapper OpenGL3DVision Wrapper v.4.19 along with the
soma opengl3d vision fix ?
Im just asking this as maby there is something missing from my machine as the wrapper v.4.19 is much bigger in size than the fix. what is the difference of these 2 files ?
sorry for my lack of understanding what really is the wrapper !
should i try different versions of the wrapper ?
how do i change the version ?
why is there mentioned in the quide "Note: Remember the FOV value you have selected!!!" ?
it is never asked to change anywhere.
the fov ingame i have 95 but the user.cfg says 65 somethings. should i change it and
why is the user file saying that ?

The wrapper can be used by individuals to try to get OpenGL games to work with 3D Vision by changing some of the rendering over to DirectX.
The existing game fixes are the ones that you would want to use if a specific game is listed.

You need:
- The fix
- Discard the "Remember the FOV value" as it was fixed in a later version of the fix.
- Probably older drivers than current ( the ones that were used when the game was released). Later drivers introduced a weird bug and some textures are blue in one eye.
Also, you are welcome for the fix:) If you have any other questions let me know.
I also see you asked other questions above: I played the game initially with a 780Ti on 3D Surround. FPS was around 30FPS but this engine never ever had any EYE-SYNC ISSUES. so not sure what you are experiencing.

Hi,
SOMA was released in "September 22, 2015". I bet there are plenty of drivers you can use on the 980Ti.
I played the game the other day a bit in 3D Surround and 980Ti SLI with the latest driver set 364.72 and it works correct. Only problem is some of the Sea Floor is displayed BLUE in Left eye.
See post #302 where the driver error were introduced starting with driver 361.43:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/879631/3d-vision/soma-3d-vision-support-thread/post/4761845/#4761845
Working perfectly on driver 359.00 (before any VR related stuff was added in the drivers):
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/879631/3d-vision/soma-3d-vision-support-thread/post/4761893/#4761893
If the BLUE sea floor that appears in some levels doesn't bother you than you can safely use the latest drivers.
There isn't any difference in performance between the versions.

Contact Steve Wang at VNS to see about updating your GeoBox.
http://www.vnstw.com/?lang=en_US
What Metaloholic is using is Dual Passive Projection setup with one of the GeoBoxes and Omega Anaglyph filters. In order for it to work, he's using a H5360 Edid override. The GeoBox is a demuxer that splits the right and left images between the two projectors.
It's a really awesome setup, provided that you do not have problems with eye rivalry.
Like you've said, it's probably related to his hardware.
You can see that Ceralk had issues until he updated his firmware.

I have one firmware update to try. but soma is the only game giving me problems now so i don´t quite think
that. and the problems are way more series than some small eye lag ect. if i remember i can take
a video before i try the 359 drivers.
If i remember correctly im currentyly using Asus VG278H edid hack. but there is pretty much no difference if i choose benq or acer edid hack, as long as the edid hack enables 120Hz output to get 3d vision to kick in im golden.
i have gotten updates from steve many times. im Vaan Janne In AVS

Hi,
SOMA was released in "September 22, 2015".

If the BLUE sea floor that appears in some levels doesn't bother you than you can safely use the latest drivers.
There isn't any difference in performance between the versions.

You can see that Ceralk had issues until he updated his firmware.

that. and the problems are way more series than some small eye lag ect. if i remember i can take
a video before i try the 359 drivers.
