As the games uses the UR3 engine I risked to buy the game. Personally I wouldn't say that the game "sux" in S3D. At least during the first two levels I couldn't observe any issues with post effects, fog, etc. I only had to reduce shadow quality to the second level from the right. And adapt depth and convergence settings manually. The only issue I had is the fact that the HUD elements for aiming and the icons of the enemies are 2D at screen level. Unfortunately this is a common issue of many games and meanwhile I got used to it. Besides from that during fast-paced dogfights the HUD elements and 2D icons are much more important than the direct view on the spaceships. Perhaps it would be more comfortable if the central HUD elements would be placed at a higher depth level. Here a shader override similar to the one that Helix has made for Assassin's Creed could help.

Regarding the 3D graphics quality I would rate the game so far as (very) good. Taking the 2D HUD into account it has to be rated fair...

The developers are very active on steam forums and fast at fixing things. It might be worth asking them to take a look at the HUD. I'm not going to do so yet myself as I can't test anything because my projector is currently not setup as I will be moving to my new house soon :)

apparently they have patched all 3D issues...The developers felt that there was no good space shooters in 3D and wanted to get theirs working well.

I am getting it set up now...will report back asap

Make sure you don't use Nvidia 3d, since they're supposed to be using that Native RealD stuff. I hope it's awesome, otherwise I will be disappoint.

It looks and plays great in 3D now. You just get SBS when you select "ON" in the Real3D option. Not my kind of game really. The player indicators are in 2D which is still a real problem.

I would take screen but it is SBS so ALT+F1 is not working.

What about just print-screening it as SBS? My projector can turn an sbs screenshot to 3d when I get home later.
