What games that are still broken you'd love to see in perfect 3D?
  2 / 3
Totally agree here pirate! I didn't want to express that I am surprised no one is begging our fixers to start working on Far Cry 4. I just noticed significantly less feedback here for Far Cry 4 compared to the feedback that Far Cry 3 got before and after release. Given the fact that Far Cry 4 seems to be everything that Far Cry 3 was and then something on top I am a little bit surprised!

I am indeed a little surprised that there's not much begging for FC4 to be fixed. But I am also very relieved. I like to think that it's our community getting more mature about the fixes, or that most of the "trolls/whiners" left the forum. For me as well, Helix's FC3 fix was one of the most awesome experiences ever, so I would be all over a FC4 fix in a second. But I won't ask for it, and will wait even one year if I have to. Will not buy it or play it in 2D, ever. Edit: Just curious, does this game have a DX9 mode, or just DX11?

The next car game aka Wreckfest. Partially broken, this game would be a blast in your face in proper 3D!

Dragon Age: Inquisition --> I've played it in 3D for 4 hours without a single crash, but the broken shadows were really getting in my face. Bionic Commando --> best Tarzan-simulator ever. The sense of swinging through the air with a bionic arm would be even better in proper 3D. Valkyria Chronicles --> super charming SRPG with a unique art style. The sequel actually works in 3D via PPSSPP. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed --> a decent Star Wars game would be amazing in 3D.

If we are talking about wishes, I have a feature I would love to see in fixes; a wish feature! I notice our Shaderhackers are getting cocky with pushing stuff like the crosshair zone / middle quadrant, as it were, to depth - sometime dynamically! I would love to see a new fix feature that not only pushes the UI to depth but splits it up so the bottom third is low depth, mid region has mid depth and top third has highish depth. Games like Torchlight, the Grand Strategy genre etc where the graphics tend to be OK 3D wise but the stupid UI is at screen depth would really benefit from this; if it is even possible... Thanks. Hope this was OK to raise this here!

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Hey bo3b. Is it ok if we start a new wishlist? I bet we'd see a completely different set of games listed.
Yeah, I think that would be a good idea. Especially because we already have fixed so many. I'll tweak it with knowledge we gained from the last go round. For example, a max vote will be 30/100 instead of 100/100 so that people have to think a little more about it for a top three, and not just drop 100 in their momentarily current favorite. And add some extra comment or info field to make it more clear. Like World of Tanks, I don't understand why it's even on the list, let alone at the top. I looked at it, and it ran great in 3D. Same with odd ones like Half-Life 2. I need more info on why they are there. I'll also see if I can post this on the blog, so that people can stop making requests on the fix pages. I know, wishful thinking, but maybe a specific spot will help.

I looked at it briefly to be sure that 3Dmigoto was running, and the tool does run and dump shaders without too much trouble. Unlike DA:I or Unity for example. I do think that it is in our best interest to wait at least a little bit on each game for them to stabilize. Trying to fix stuff at release tends to be hit-and-miss. The way I look at it, FC4 will be just as fun a year from now as it is at launch. It's more fun to try get 3D working at launch, but if we run into glitches and time-wasters like alt-tab crashes/SLI problems, it's probably best to wait. It's really best if we can start with something that runs well in 2D to start, like Alien.

It has just been my impression that it's a dead game from the multi-player aspect. Also, wasn't it supposed to have Oculus Rift support? Did that every happen?

Thanks for the comments regarding Far Cry 4, Bo3b. Hope it can be fixed at some point, but like you said, it will be just as fun to play in one year. 1. With the limited time and scarcity of 3D shaderhackers currently, every hour spent on a game which is not stable enough, and whose patches will probably break the fix, is an hour spent away from a more deserving and technically stable game. 2.Games that do not run well in 2D (or unfixed 3D) due to engine/optimisation/porting issues should definitely not be among the fixing priorities If another "Bo3b's game list" is started, I believe these two points are among the new factors to take into consideration when prioritising games (not only from the fixers' point of view, but also from the "wishers" point of view, if we can summon up enough objectivity :-) )

bleem! I want bleem! to work again ... Lol. It used to work in 3D on WinXP, I can't even get it to run anymore on Win7x64, nevermind in 3D. Any PSOne emulator for that matter ... I really want to play King's Field and Silent Hill again in 3D. Silent Hill 3 ... I can't seem to get it to trigger 3D Vision at all, seems odd as SH2 is perfectly fine.
