Hegemony Rome
Hi guys, Just wanted to give a heads-up on this game, currently available in Early Access in Steam. It's a strategy title about Ceasar's conquest of Gaul. The gameplay is very interesting and the handling of supply lines pretty unique. It also looks very good in 3DV; shadows are fine, textures are crisp, and you can adjust both depth and convergence. I've also noticed that ghosting is fairly minimal. I'm not qualified to call it 3D Vision Ready, but, in my humble opinion, it pretty much is. If you're disappointed with Rome 2 Total War, you may want to consider this one.

I haven't tried R2TW, but does this one play similarly? Meaning, are the battles real-time? I love turn-based strategy games but can't stand games that leave you looking at a map of Europe the entire time. (And if that seems like a silly question, it's because I'm at work and can't access Steam directly on this computer).

The whole game is real-time. You can seamlessly zoom from the strategic map all the way down to individual units and soldiers. Look, this ain't CA, with a budget of tens of millions but the game still looks damn good, especially in 3DV.

Wow, that sounds like a cool concept. I'll visit the store page when I get home.
