is it just me or is http://3dvisionlive.com/ down?
http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/ seems to be up
just finished setting up my 3d vision kit and i'm looking for the firefox/IE web plugin
but i can't load http://3dvisionlive.com/3dapps, nor http://www.3dvisionlive.com/apps
and google's cached version of the page doesn't have any download links anyway, because they're being a log-in
does anyone have a copy they could share?
thanks & happy holidays! :D
Is the latest version of Firefox no longer compatible with http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/?
I get: Your setup needs updating. You may be missing, or have improperly installed, one or more of the required 3D Vision components. Please check the System Requirements page for more details.
Doesn't give me an option to do anything.

still down for me here, and i get the same error.
as far as i know, there's a standalone plugin / separate from the driver pack that needs to be installed?

Yes, you need Silverlight to view pictures on 3dvisionlive.com. Silverlight is only supported in IE (https://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/locale/en-us/html/installation-win-SL5.html), other browsers dropped support for NPAPI plugins such as Silverlight some time ago.
Yeah, the not-photos part of 3D Vision Live has been dead for a few days now. I'm not sure what the story is. Also, NVIDIA actually uploaded a bunch of photos and updated a few of the categories for the first time in years. I hope that wasn't what broke it! ;)
Internet Explorer is the only browser I can get to work with the web page now. Even that one sometimes requires a few page refreshes before it decides to kick in.

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.
I can only get the site to work in 3D using Mozilla....at this point im over it.
There is no real communication there between users and the site is always broken somehow.
Was really a cool site in 2012 but now its just time for me to move on from uploading anything there.
This forum is also horribly maintained....eh

I don't use it anymore. I just upload screenshots to cubeupload, and cross my eyes when I look at the helixmod blog. If I want to see a screenshot with the glasses, I use the Nvidia photo viewer.

I can't do that cross eyes thing.
The website is still kicking along and it looks like quite a few people do use it for views. Phereo is still in a coma, though.
MTBS still has a screenshot section and I think it was supposed to use some plug-in to make it view 3D in the browser but I don't think it's being maintained. It sure isn't viewed much. (Oh look, my old Skyrim album! https://www.mtbs3d.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=223 )
We could just use a group on DiviantArt. It lets you point directly to an image, like so: https://orig00.deviantart.net/67bd/f/2017/360/8/b/green_3d_by_zlothzloth-dbxyaa8.png
or point at the page it's on so people can comment and whatnot. The only way to view is to save, rename, and view unfortunately. It's going to be hard to surpass 3DVision Live's setup, even as screwy as it is.
