I hear it's actually a true 64x client now though which hopefully should mean the engine doesn't buckle under it's own weight and die screaming horribly when you try to use a certain amount of memory and Gig's of mods, which is well documented at this point with this engine.... nah who am I kidding =D

Pretty frustrating knowing they polished that game for months to release that special edition WITH NO CARE TO MAKE IT 3D COMPATIBLE. I don't have that game and have no plan to get it now, unless our fixers here do miracles and that everyone is telling me I am missing something great? There are so many other great 3D Vision titles anyway.

3D Vision must live! NVIDIA, don't let us down!

I have downloaded it today. I'll try it when my PC finishes checking a possibly corrupt folder in my external HDD (it's a different thing that doesn't have anything to do with this). If I find anything that can be fixed quickly, I'll share it here.

I already tried. Loading game with 3D enabled causes most shaders to simply disappear, with or without 3DM installed. No shader headers either. Fun times.

10 minutes. Just played the intro. I don't see the sense to play this edition over the old perfectly fine modded and 3d vision fixed one. Most useless release of the year.
Does anyone know if this is expected to break a lot of mods? I'm expecting the worst, but haven't heard much chatter about it. Edit: Well, it's going to break all of them: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/59m098/sse_megathread_2/ Though, a bunch of mods are already available: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/searchresults/?src_cat=1
I played with all these skyrim mods : http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.9 and the 3D fix. There are really impressive passages of beauty, realism and immersion. Very nice 2D but then in 3D... No mod has broken 3D. I hope it will be the same for this new edition.

I abandoned 3D vision with Skyrim even though I loved it because I could not get it to work with an ENB installed - ENB greatly stabilized the game and enabled better visuals but overwrote the same dll (name escapes me) that the ENB base install does. So I assumed you could not use both. IS this wrong? Can you run original Skyrim in 3D with ENB? I have a current build with 250 mods that runs great that I'd love to try 3d with. This is why I'm interested in the SE as it's base visuals are close to a good ENB's (and the god rays are nice). I was hoping then to try the 3D fix with it but sounds like it's not at all that simple.

Yes, there is a thread that talks about using ENB with the older version of Skyrim. You simply need to rename something and alter the ENB ini or something like that. Do a forum search.....

I've fixed shadows easily (Dark Souls 2 formula FTW!), and I'm using the Witcher 3 profile. I'll try to make a decent enough fix quickly so it's at least bearable (skybox now), and then release it here. There are issues with hair and eyes using that profile, and characters are untextured with ambient occlusion applied to them.

Try to Remove the DX10 Flags (DX10DSCB and DX10VSCB) and see if that changes the AA not working or the hair+eyes.
Awesome! Try to Remove the DX10 Flags (DX10DSCB and DX10VSCB) and see if that changes the AA not working or the hair+eyes.
Removing those flags broke all graphics. But using the Shadow of Mordor values (0x00000008 and 0x00000006 respectively) fixed everything! :) Although I didn't enable any kind of antialiasing. I supposed the Shadow of Mordor values would work because it also had this hair problem. If someone doesn't know how to find that, you need a custom Nvidia Inspector build made by DarkStarSword, I think. I imported the Witcher 3 profile for this game first, using the SLI profiles tool (Geforce 3D Profile Manager.exe). Here is the first fix: https://s3.amazonaws.com/masterotaku/SkyrimSE/skyrimse_wip_3dfix_1.7z Fixed: - Shadows (indoors and outdoors). - Skybox (clouds, moon stars...). I didn't have time to look at the sun yet. - F2 for HUD depth presets. Possibly incomplete. I have to fix some water refraction effects. I have to go to sleep now, but I'll work on it tomorrow. Hope this works for everyone. The fix will create cached shaders. For next versions, you'll need to completely uninstall this fix.
