3d Vision output to Toshiba 55wx800u help
I am trying to output 3d visuals from my pc using a 460m, hdmi 1.4, and a 3d Toshiba television. The test images from the graphics card run in 3d, but normal videos and blurays do not. Every time my output is enabled on the tv, the resolution settings change to what is optimum output for my computer, not what is acceptable by the tv. How can I change these settings so I can see 3d without running a test visual from the graphics card?

Thank you and kudos to whoever can help me.

FlatpanelsHD said in a review that the 55" WX800u had the least amount of crosstalk they'd seen in an LCD to date, yet i hear the opposite in other places. If you wouldn't mind and have a frame of reference to another TV or monitor, would you mind commenting on the level of crosstalk (aka ghosting) in games at some point?

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530

Explain
'my output is enabled on the tv', I have no idea what you mean. Typically you set the 3D mode on your computer (SBS, checkerboard, Frame sequential, default framepacking etc., what ever your TV supports) and then you set the same mode on your tv using the TVs menu system.

Found the issue. By default, both the Cineplayer and 3D Vision Player output 3D video at 1080p@60, problem is that hdmi 1.4 cannot handle this resolution/speed combo. Cineplayer has no option to fix this but in the Vision Players advanced options you can change the output resolution of 3D, which solves the issue. Although now my videos are appearing in anaglyph instead of in polarized/shutter vision, which has nothing to do with the tv output.

Thanks again for the help.

Don't know what cineplayer is, but you can play BluRay 3Ds in real 3D ( framepacking as opposed to anaglyph). All you need is a player like Arcsoft TMT5 or Cyberlink PDVD 10/11 or even with VLC. Have you tried them? Or is your issue you can play BR3D movies in 3D, but not with Cinepayer?

All of my video playback issues are fixed. my problem now is that all 3d on my computer appears as anaglyph instead of full color stereo.
The video problems were that hdmi 1.4 didn't support default max resolution from the video players, by changing its default resolution, everything was fixed.
Cineplayer is a Roxio program that came with my PC.

This is a huge problem, so I'm asking whether or not you want to play Blu Ray 3D in full color stereo 3D. If the answer is yes, I can tell you how to achieve this.

Hi

3D Vision supports PC monitors and notebooks. It does not work with TVs.

3DTV Play software allows you to connect to HDMI 1.4 TVs and enable gaming, and more on a 3D TV. Its available for purchase from store.nvidia.com for $39.99 or comes free if you buy a 3D Vision kit.
