Hi,
3dtv play doesn't work well on samsung plasma 63c7000. The setup process goes ok, also the steroscopic test on Nvidia Control Panel works fine. But thats all. Trying a few games, but always get 2d image. Glasses and TV seems to be working fine, but drivers doesnt generate two separate images. It's the same for both supported resolutions: 720p/50Hz and 1080i/25Hz.
Also got some problems with desktop 32bit color resolutions - they are not listed at all in Nvidia Control Panel. Tryied to add them manualy and find one issue - after changing the resolution for one of the standard, user define res. disappeared from the list.
3DTV Play is still not released. Only Blu-ray 3D playback is available with the beta drivers. 3DTV Play is for games. We will have information about this in the future once it is released.

[*]1) The new installer is nice, allows the option to upgrade individual components. Would still like Windows 7 to not auto-install new audio drivers. I have this disabled and Windows still installs it. Would be nice if Nvidia implemented a firmware/BIOS option to disable the audio completely.
[*]2) The new NVCP is MUCH faster, in both pulling it up the first time and also when opening up the game profiles tabs. I know the switch away from XML in the 256 was to facilitate this, but even compared to 256 the 260 are much faster. Now if we can see about having installed games detected more accurately, and also a longer list of games shown in the drop down menu selections.
[*]3) Still have to run some tests on games, but overall performance seems to be a bit better, some games run smoother in 3D with some exceptions where there's no change.
[*]4) Splinter Cell Conviction still has memory leak/degrading FPS in 3D Vision in SLI. FPS will start at 60FPS, then quickly degrade over the course of only 1 or 2 minutes. ManuelG said this was problem was reproduced, but still no 3D Vison profile and no bug fix even though there is an NVCP profile for a few months now.
[*]5) Avatar still performs about the same as a single 480 in SLI in DX10 only. GPU utilization only ~50% on each GPU.
[*]6) Final Fantasy XIV Open Beta does not run in 3D Vision at all. Not sure if this is an application issue or not, but it is possible to get the Benchmark running in 3D with a modified fullscreen DX9 runtime.
Specs and such in my sig, will provide more feedback as generated. Overall the improvements are nice but would still like to see some specific fixes in some of these lingering problems in 3D Vision.
Splinter Cell Conviction bug has not yet been fixed.
I'll need to look into Avatar. Does the SLI performance improve if stereo is disabled?
I believe the FFXIV is due to a wrong exe file name. Will need to verify.

This is not 3DTV, come on!!!!!! I really don't know how you guys manage to make this work, but off course it's not the release of 3DTV Play, otherwise Nvidia would let us know. It does't say anything about 3DTV play in this thread. Manuel from Nvidia haven't said a word about it.
Those are pretty different drivers that will change the way we install drivers making it faster and easier process and will be ready soon for 3DTV Play.
They are just testing this and want our feedbacks. It’s not 3DTV play yet, but it’s how it’s gonna look like once it’s finally officially released.
Now I have the USB drivers installed and I can go through Wizard setup using my 120hz display, so there’s nothing wrong with my drivers installation.
I’ve selected my Sammy Plasma (PN63C8000) as primary display and went through the wizard setup and did the test all in 3D, but when it finishes it just says, Now you're ready to play some 3D Videos in your TV. Upgrade to 3DTV play and have lots of fun and stuff, stuff.....
So, it says upgrade to 3DTV Play. They are doing the merchandizing thing, just letting us know that 3DTV play is there and almost ready to be launched, but it hasn’t yet. I know it’s gonna be free for 3D vision users, but the driver we have now , is just a how the new drivers with 3DTV play will be seem for non 3D Vision users, and that’s why it asks you to upgrade to 3DTV Play. When the final version comes out, it will detect our Nvidia emitter and 3DTV Play will be enabled.
I still see my 3D settings all greyed out and under display I see HDMI 1.4 bluray 3D in the Nvidia control panel. So, does anyone still thinks that 3DTV Play has been oficially released with these drivers is definately wrong about that, otherwise instead of HDMI 1.4 bluray 3D, we would see 3DTV Play under display like the leacked driver. But those drivers were not quite ready and only a few lucky users were able to actually test 3DTV Play.
It not because some of you made some tweaking and got 3DTV play working that it means that 3DTV Play is out. It’s not, it’s definatelly not.
Please Nvidia, Manuel, Andrew, don’t leave me in the dark, and confirm what I’ve just said, is 3DTV Play out or not??? When you guys are finally release this? Enough of waiting....
For those lucky guys that manage to make 3DTV Play work I don’t know how, do you guys see the 3D options available not greyed out? Do you see the 3DTV Play logo and 3DTV Play under display in Nvidia Control Panel??
Did you install the 1.36 Drivers CD, or the separated drivers, GFX drivers and after that, the 3D Vision drivers??? Please let us know what kind of tweaking you guys did to make this thing work.
You are correct. 3DTV only applies to games. We have not released 3DTV play yet. I don't know if people truly got it working somehow but it should not work for games on a 3DTVs.
Ok, I'm getting a lot more ghosting with these drivers, like BFBC2 is nearly unplayable on the lighter maps. The ghosting at either side of dark objects is very prominent to the point I think the glasses are well out of sync with my monitor, could you not provide some way of the user tweaking the sync latencies a touch as no amount of re-booting or dropping my monitors refresh rate seems to sort it?
You would need a simple light background with a dark 3d object as a test screen and some sort of slider adjustment so we can tweak the latencies a bit to lower the ghosting, it can't be that hard to implement surely?
As a 3d vision user do I have to use these CD kits to update my graphics drivers or can I use any of the normal Geforce updates from your site? I find this bit confusing, so any response would be great
System specs?
As for 3D Vision updates, going forward, you only need to update your display drivers as they will now include the 3D Vision drivers packaged with it. The USB emitter driver is not removed during the update process so you will not need to reinstall the USB emitter driver in the future.

Have you tried removing all drivers? Did you try the clean install option in the new installer? It sounds like messed up Control Panel files.

I find this bit confusing, so any response would be great
As a 3d vision user do I have to use these CD kits to update my graphics drivers or can I use any of the normal Geforce updates from your site? I find this bit confusing, so any response would be great
System specs?

Have you tried removing all drivers? Did you try the clean install option in the new installer? It sounds like messed up Control Panel files.
