So I put a "stereo.x>0" condition before my mod and it works for both 3D and 2D. By the way, I have corrected the formula of those shaders. They should be perfect now. Edit: god fucking damnit! I have accidentally deleted my savegame. Is anyone at ~80 pagies?

To hell with this. My brother gave me his save file, but somehow I can't collect pagies, most enemies just don't die, quills don't count, etc. My game must be corrupted or something (it wasn't file write permissions in the save file), even after deleting all save files and the profile file again. I have uninstalled the game, published the fix on the blog and I will come back to it when there are updates that break the fix or more game content (I will receive all future DLC through kickstarter). When my brother reaches the final boss, I may install the game again to check if something needs a fix there.

Big thanx for the fix, man. I am surprised by how good it runs: Old GTX780, non TI version: settings: high (second best, don't remember the name of this option) performance: 1080p: 2D - almost stable 120fps 3D - almost stable 60fps with really not much drops below. and just for laughs 2D 4K (DSR) ~15-30fps @masterotaku Is it possible to patch non-3D games to get rid of post process? I hate this new trend. Ability to turn this crap off is for me something like no cost graphics improvement. No DoFs, no HDR blooms, no motion blur, no lens imperfections effect. Turning it off improves the graphics in my eyes, while often giving a few additional fps as a side effect. In the normal times, we had the choice. And then PC ports gone worse and the trend for "realistic, atmospheric" lighting made it a norm that gamers cannot choose how they prefer the game to look. Maybe there's hope in home-made patches? At least in non Windows Store games (encryption) and multiplayer games (DICE banned the mod that was just removing post-process from BF3).

What games, for example? As long as it's a DX9 or DX11 game and the engine isn't XNA (I already tried to mod Apotheon and Shantae and the Pirate's Curse, and couldn't), it's possible. Some mods I made like that are for Resident Evil 0 and 1 (grain filter, black crush and fog removal with hotkeys), The Evil Within (DoF, bloom, color filter) and currently Last Light Redux (dirt screen, DoF and bloom. I will release this one soon). They are impossible to do without shader mods (try to find a DoF removal mod for The Evil Within. There isn't any).

Off-topic: Actually, almost all games :D Quickly, just two come to my mind: Redout (postprocess filter) and all the games with "softened/dusted" look at the distance, most annoying in Dragon Age:Inquisition for example. I also don't play new Need For Speed games cause in my eyes the idea of using Frostbite engine made the game look far worse than NFS:HP from 2010. OK, that's enough of the offtopic. Would you mind if I wasted your time through private messages if this discussion was to be continued, please?

It seems the recent update broke some of the shaders. I haven't tried it in most places but the shaders for the circle shadow and area exits seem to be a bit off now. Also the glass tube slide in the space world, though I don't know if that was fixed before or not since I just got to that part. Everything was working great before though, one of the best 3D games I've played.

That's what I expected. Unfortunately, the update isn't on GOG yet, so I can't do anything for now (not that I have enough space in my SSD anyway, although I can move Dragon's Dogma away temporarily).
GOG update is out, hopefully you get an opp to look at it. One of the best 3D titles for me.
Agreed. As a huge platform games fan and a backer, I must say it's a real pain to see the game getting the bad reception. 30fps 2D on consoles vs. 60fps 3D on PC is a night and day difference. And this game allows you to fly. What's boring in 30fps 2D, is awesome in 60fps 3D, and that is, of course, the exploration. BTW. Since God Of War series on PS2, I didn't see any boss that I liked so much. The Casino's robot. It looks so cool in 3D, and the rest is great too, the joke, the animations, even the gameplay itself is pretty fun, althought it turned out to be a real challenge (I'm getting old :P ) for me. The game is not on the level of J&D or R&C games on PS2, noone does platform games at that level anymore, but it's the closest we can get on PC since many, many years, and with 3D it's easily one of the TOP 5 games for me since like 5 years.

I'll redownload the game tomorrow (to have the latest gog installer in my external HDD). I hope I won't have to revisit everything in the game, lol (that time I accidentally lost my save I almost started hating the game). I'm currently fixing Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, so I'm partially busy.

Working on it! I have fixed today some new and old issues. I'm still at the start of the game, though. Fixed: - Circle shadow under Yooka when jumping. - Haloing in underwear at the title screen (finally!). - Transparent characters in some minigames. - Reverted minigame crosshair mod, because it broke a blue shadow in another minigame. Edit: - Also fixed the sleeping stones. Edit 2: - Translucent platforms (when they transition from transparent to opaque). - Fixed Rextro. You can expect an update in a few days (unless I cheat using my brother's save). I have lots of stuff to do in the game.
