Need help: Skyrim 2 Moons render at wrong depth for 3d Vision
I am playing Skyrim with 3d Vision and have a modded game using Mod Organizer. System is Win 7 64 bit. I installed the Helixmod Skyrim 3d Vision fix and on Nexus the Complete Compatibility Patch.
The 2 Moons still render at the wrong depth in 3D Vision. They appear way too close and make the sky look weird.
The sky, stars, auroras, clouds all look great and render at the correct depth. It is just the 2 Moons that make the sky look really strange.
How can I fix this? Is it an .ini tweak? Or is there some other fix I can install that will place the 2 Moons at the correct depth?
Thanks for any help.

One of the reasons I refuse to place this game on my "Best games in 3D vision" list. Is the inability to ever get it working nicely with mods which in my opinion are practically required in Bethesda games.
I remember having the same issues when trying to get 3dvision working in Skyrim, due to various mods I had installed.
I'd suggest trying a fresh installation and use the 3d fix and only gameplay improving mods and see if this resolves it or at least carefully test visual mods one at a time.

As Arioch said, use only the official Helix fix from the blog, the fix from Nexus is old and outdated. I've never had any problems with 3D in the game even with dozens of mods installed.
@necropants
I'm also a graphic modder in this community, I've made ones of the most popular weather/lighting/water mods and it never broke anything in 3D, my mods are 100% compatible with Helix fix. Maybe you are talking about ENB, but it is also a problem in any game, not only Skyrim.

If you can't get the moons working, you can remove them with this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27976/
I could never get ENB and Helixmod working together in Skyrim without constant ctd's. There's no going back to vanilla after seeing what ENB does, so I just used some parts of "3d Vision Complete Compatibility Project" and had no (major) problems other than the moons.

I guess I got lucky with Skyrim. I actually have Helixmod proxyloading ENB, which is then proxyloading SweetFX. I have no idea how I got it all sorted out. Keep in mind I last updated ENB a couple years ago. I do know I have to load Helixmod first because when I tried proxyloading the 3D fix from ENB a lot of the shaders that fixed 3D issues didn't work.
I recently got back into this game after I read the disappointing news that Elder Scrolls Online was ditching the DX9 client in the near future. I am hoping that the total conversion Enderal will be out sometime early this year.

Thanks for all the replies. I have found another issue that might be causing my problem.
It seems I installed the Helixmod 3D fix including helix's d3dp.dll. Then I installed ENB Boost and didn't realize it installed a d3d9.dll and replaced the one from Helix.
What is amazing is that the 3D looks great except for some minor issues like where water hits the shore and the Moons at wrong depth. Considering the d3d9.dll from helixmod got replaced i'm surprised the 3d looks as good as it does.
How do I install Helixmods 3d fix and ENB Boost since both have a d3d9.dll ?
Edit: I got my answer in another post here is a link
