I try with Tridef, and DX11 + Tridef only produce Power3D...no matter what profile you use...its Power3D always. With Power3D there is that blurry stuff around character.....little anoying (for some reason screenshot dont have the blurry stuff). Personally i don't like Power3D.

Changing to DX9 you can get real 3D with Tridef, but share same issues than 3D vision.

DX9 I would try to see if Tridef has a Conviction profile. Other games to try would be Bioshock 1/2, I am alive.
TBH, I doubt it will be playable with "real"/geometry 3D. Too much hud crap.
Hopefully Helix or Chiri can try to fix this game. Looks like an excellent game and I LOVE stealth games in 3D. This is where 2 solutions are good. Maybe Helix has no interest in Splinter Cell, and may not be inclined to bother with a fix. If Chiri could just find out from Helix which games he may be working on then he can work on the games Helix won't bother with. I would gladly donate again to Chiri for a per fix basis for games like this or Assassins Creed 3.

Didnt really think this game was going to work in 3D. But i still had some hopes deep down inside. I love splintercell so hopefully one day it gets patched.

Yeay this is totaly fucked up, all this nvidia talk about their UBI alliance and still they dont give a shit about 3D.
WTF is that really, as they now work so close with them it should go witout saying they push 3d also besides their new fancy HBAO+ etc witch are great but 3d damnit..come on!

Is there a demo? I can't seem to find one on the web. The game is $60, which is too much to pay for a game that might not be fixable. We need more people in the community to learn how to make helixmods - come on people, get your programming books out!

Pretty sure there's no demo, but anyone who still pays $60 for a new game is a sucker (or loves the franchise enough to volunteer a little extra towards the devs).

I feel dirty now. I just brought it and am waiting for the download to finish. I loved the first game, Chaos Theory was amazing and I still kinda liked Conviction.
I really hope we get a fix for this one, but I'll play it 2D regardless.

Personally, the idea of farting around comparing prices, hunting for bargains, setting up accounts at various online retailers, splitting games up in different libraries (uplay, steam, origin, direct download) - just to save a few bucks - doesn't appeal to me at all.

That's why I like the site I linked - it tells you what the prices are, and where the key is redeemed. I use that site to find a good price on Steam (seems retail copies of Blacklist are all uplay though), then I buy it. I've never found the checkout process (enter an address, username and password) on any of those types of sites to be a hassle - and on average, I pay half price (often less) for new titles.

While the "Splinter Cell" series has always interested me, I've never bought one and likely would not be playing this rendition if it was not free with the purchase of hardware.
After getting slightly into the first mission (in (sic) 2D) the game play looks like it might be fun and interesting, however I have lots of titles that will play in decent S3D to be bothered with a monoscopic game.
