I have curiosity to try this system, but I need this mirror:

I suppose that with this mirror and two normal tft monitors I would can see a good stereo, isn´t right?. I assume that Nvidia support this stereo mode (planar mode, i´m not sure), and it is as compatible as using shutter glasses.
Are there different quality mirrors like this?... I ask because with normal mirrors we know that mirroring an image in angle causes double image displacement if it is not a special mirror with high quality reflections.
I´ve not tried this system, and seem to be easy to experiment. Anybody know the results?... this is better than using shutterglases with CRT? (I suppose that much better). Anybody know the cons?. Is there low nvidia driver compatibility with planar system?.

Thanks Freke1, I´ve ordered two different size mirrors from this link, and olarised glasses from the other post. I will see the result in one tft that I have, and if it is as good as I think, I´ll buy another, and I´ll say good buy to my crt.

Next monday I have at home the mirror, and I hope to receive soon the glasses.
Now I have a CRT monitor, and I have to buy any + monitor(s). Is it possible to make this planar thing with a CRT+TFT monitor?. I don´t know about polarization... Is it possible to use this mirror only because the TFT monitor show a polarized light?. Then... if a CRT doesn´t give us polarized light it doesn´t work?.
If I can use a CRT+TFT I prefer to test 1st with my crt and buy only any cheap 17" LCD monitor. If it is possible I can use planar or shutter glasses, if I need.

Yes, but you must use a standard mirror and place your nose alongside the mirror with both monitors on the desk, see the first picture result here:
It seems that this excellent webpage is unresponsive at the moment, sorry for the low-quality pics.
You need the polarized light to use the polarized glasses method, unfortunately large sheets of polarizer material are very expensive (more expensive than good used LCD screens unfortunately) or we would be able to get by with nicer (and cheaper) CRT screens.
If you just want to test, use 2 CRT monitors (Second-hand or Thrift stores may have old CRT monitors), and the standard mirror, it looks very good /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Thanks for the info. Some time ago (one year) I did the experiment using the two monitors + the mirror (using a good mirror), and you are in right, the result is very very good... the best I´ve seen, and I think it is perfect. But the cons are the big space in the desk we need, and we must be just in front of the mirror.
Now I want to test this planar setup with two monitors, but with the two-ways mirror, and using two TFTs or one CRT + one TFT. I suppose that the quality is not as good as using two monitors + normal mirror, but better than shutther glasses, and enough confortable.
The question is that now I have only one CRT, and I will receive the two-way mirror and polarized glasses in two or three days, and I need another monitor. I´m not sure if I cant test with my CRT and a second TFT, or if I need two TFTs (because the polarity).

Yes, the polarization is needed for the effect to be full, you will see two images with one of your eyes, but the effect will be visible if you can ignore the ghost image.
It will be like looking through a store window with a bright scene behind you, you can see what is happening, but it is hard.

Before to buy the monitors and the desk stand, I´ve test today with my CRT monitor and my Sony bravia TV to see that there is no driver problem using planar type, and I can´t use Planar with 163.75 driver + 162.50 stereo driver. I have nvidia 9800 GTX and Windows XP.
If I clone the two monitors I lose all stereo types but anaglyph, and if I revert to single monitor I recover all stereo types. I suppose this is because 162.50 is a beta. I must test with other combo (I hope no problems).

The intermediate screen is a kind of polarized shutter.
