I got some problems with my NVIDIA Vision glasses and my Acer H5360.
I connect to the projector using a HDMI cable and enable the "NVIDIA 3D VISION" mode on the projector.
I'm using it as single (and main) monitor and have the newest driver version ("196.21_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_international_whql") for my 9600 GT graphics card.
When i start the NVIDIA "Enable 3D" Setup, it is not able to find a 3D ready device and the 3D test fails.
If i try the same with a VGA cable, he can find it and the 3D effect is working.
What can i do to get the projector detected when connected with a HDMI cable?

Even if the test fails, often the 3d will still kick on in games. That's how it is with my samsung plasma anyway.

hdmi connection on a 3D DLP projection is not working on any dlp device yet. The hdmi connection does not support 120hz input. only vga does, but thats not so bad is it.

This is such a grey area and exactly why I didn't put the money down on a HDMI 3D 720 pj yet. I think it should work with games, but the verdict is still out on 3D Blu-Ray with HDMI 1.3 vs 1.4.

I have mine connected by HDMI. It's a DVI to HDMI cable and it works fine for games and was working fine for 3d video until i tried it the other day with BOLT (downloadable disney trailer) and now it seems to go out of sync every 20 seconds with a strange colour thing going on like it's trying to sync the colour wheel. Games still working fine.
The weird thing is that if i play "fly me to the moon" it's fine but "bolt" messes it all up.
Not sure if this is drivers, cables or what yet will need to investigate further.
Anyway, OP I would try another cable if you can, I had all sorts of problems when using a DVI to HDMI/VGA dongle. That driver should recognise your PJ.

I tried it with a 2meter VGA cable , 10meter HDMI cable with DVI-HDMI dongle, 2meter HDMI cable with DVI-HDMI dongle connected to a 9600GT
1) VGA
It works in all games I tested.
But it does not work good for some video's in the NVidia movie player. eg Nürburgring demo video goes out of sync a lot.

3) old 2meter HDMI cable with DVI-HDMI dongle
It works in all games I tested.
All video's I tested work great with no sync issues.
So length and type of cable matter a lot!!!
(In my European 3DVision Kit, there was no DVI-HDMI cable included)

So what your trying to tell us is to use the Old HDMI cables (1.2) and keep them as short as possible?
Im buying the H5360 soon, and the minimum distance from my Computer will be around 6-7 meters!! will i have sync issues??

When i declare the projector as CRT and not as dlp device, i get the 3D effect.
But the 3D test failes again, because i see the pictures on the wrong eye.
Should i care?

Today I played Assassins Creed connecting with a HDMI cable an it worked in 3D.
The only thing i had to do is to plug in the projector as single display and restart my windows7. Then i started the game and it worked.
