3D Stereo card with edge-blending.
Hello, I'd like to know if somebody knows a nvidia graphic card that can use both 3d stereo and edge blending (overlaping of two projectors with blending).

Thanks.

Axel.

Hi,
no overlapping. and consumer 3D is problem. With matrox dual Head2Go adapter it is possible usage of 2 projectors (synchronous in 3D stereo!)
see this thread please (end of thread):

Hello again,

What I'd really like is a graphic card compatible 3D Stereo (Quad Stereo buffer with a stereo output on the graphic allowing to plug googles ans synchronize googles) and edge-blending. I don't care about buying a workstation (it's for work).

I've done it myself on QuadroFX 4500 with Christie projectors ,Nuvison stereo glasses , blend and stereo but it depend whetther the application support it or not. Trick is you need to to Hor. span for setup.

I did with UGS , Petrel and some Oil and Gas software.

Thanks very much for your answer.

I'd just like to know what kind of set-up have you done?

If I want to do stereo on two christie projectors, do I need to plug both of the projectors to one dual dvi with a "Two vga to dual-dvi adpater ?

How many display can you connect with stereo enabling?

I need to use it for petrel also (gas and oil company) ?

;)

So far I only manage to use horizontal span mode , use dual DVI-D15 adapter for 2 projector blend. We never yet success with more than 2 channel with Windows.

I think it is impossible to use the edge blending with more than two desktops. I might be wrong. Anyway, I just need to make it work with two big projector.

Thanks for your advice.
