Is there a site out there that benchmarks games using 3D Vision?
I know that there is a 50% reduction in fps, but I was wondering if that is always true? Granted, when a new game is released its pretty easy to come to this forum to read a user review, but I think it would be cool if a web site performed benchmarks with 3D Vision enabled. I think the perfect candidate for this would be hardocp, as I like their reviewing style, but they didn't seem to stoked on 3D Vision, which is a shame. With most of the new games out today, I wouldn't even feel the itch to upgrade if it wasn't for 3D Vision, as my GTX 280 does a decent job with pretty much everything atm, but when you take into account that 50% drop....things change lol.

Does the drop always equal 50%? I guess what I am thinking about is the comparison between 470 SLI and a single 480, since the 480 gives a higher minimum fps, and the 470 SLI give a higher maximum fps. So with 3D Vision enabled do both setups experience a 50% drop? Or does the 470 SLI only experience a 30% drop?

Just curious, as I plan on getting a single 480, but am starting to consider 470 SLI as well. I could get one 470 now and another later, but if I went with the 480 I wouldn't go SLI.

Its funny but when I run FSX in anaglyph I drop about 10fps, however, when I run 3D vision I get no noticable frame drop at all. Unigine's Heaven DX11 benchmark runs in Stereo 3D. It is mindblowing, if you have the rig to max the settings.

470 SLI will handily outperform a single 480 in 3D or non-3D. I would go that route personally.

I would rather do a 480 now and add a second later if you think you need it.
