Initially thought had dx10 + 3DVision but not so, dx9 only.

The environments, lighting, fog effects, depth-of field are excellent in 3d, even on high settings dx9.

Can't run very high even with gtx285x2sli + gts250Physx, get fps mid 20's @ 1780x992.

On high at same res get fps 40-50 pretty playable.

Can't seem to change antialiasing from 4xmsaa to AAA (analytic, ? like stalker?)
Anyone know how to change individual graphics settings, .config file etc?

Hopefully we can get 3DVision in dx10 with new drivers.
Or in dx11 with GTX480, which I will be buying just to play this game with all eye candy and 3DVision!

I'm running the game at 1920X1080 in 3D Vision (awesome) with Direct X 10. Graphics settings on normal but the graphics in 3D are better than any GT480 can ever give you. I'm using a single GTX 280 and average around 45-80 fps. 4GB ram Windows 7 64 Bit. Gameplay is as smooth as butter and graphics well er - I feel sorry for those who have the best cards money can buy and aren't playing it in 3D Vision cause I've got 1,000 x better graphics than them. Just awesome and freakin stunning. No framerate issues. Using E8400 core 2 duo 3.0ghz. Alienware 2310 monitor. Latest Nvidia drivers 260.99. With 3D for those who've played it you don't need to crank up the graphics settings as 3D is already out of this world and makes the game look a million times better than putting up the AAa etc which won't give you much or anywhere near the stunning visuals of 3D vision.

This is the BEST game I've ever played.
Has anyone else tried this game yet? I have been messing around with the video options for about an hour now. The only way I can get 3D vision enabled is by using DirectX 9.

I7 920
GTX 295
6 gigs DDR3 1600
196.75 3D drivers
196.34 beta video drivers

Edit:

This game is amazing in 3D. I have noticed next to zero ghosting. However, the frame rate takes a noticable hit when running with graphics set to Very High. I will wait for new drivers to mess around with this game again. It is fully playable in DX9 with 3D but as of now I cannot play the game in 3D with DX 10 and it really irritates me.

However, running the game in High + DX9 + 3D yielded better graphics than DX10 Very High - 3D mode. 3D makes everything better.

Verdict = This game is very playable as it is right now. I hope the new Nvidia drivers are released soon, that they improve performance and enable us to play in 3D with DX 10. I believe that this game will be the best 3D vision game yet once we get new drivers.
I ran Metro 2033 with 460's in SLI in DX 10 High very well.

For what ever reason, I'm pretty sure no one is able to run this game in 3d in DX11.

When run the benchmark, because you know barried in the game directory there is a benchmark utility for the Metro 2033, setting the bench to DX 11 (Very High) makes the game into a slideshow. Like 11-18 FPS.

Any new info on enabling DX10 or DX11 settings for 3D? I know some say they can play with DX11 + very high + tesselation.

Playing with the video settings, the highest that allow me to enable 3D is DX9 + very high. Any DX10 or DX11 setting will lock the game when I enable 3D.
