That seems like an overlay conflict. Try to disable ALL overlays you might have active. That's stuff like RivaTuner, Steam, Uplay.

I have replaced nvapi64.dll in /bin with original one from system32.
And checked the log. Crash was after successfully register new profile.

Setting the profile automatically is an optional step, it's always possible set a profile manually like we used to.

OK, next thing to try is an older driver. That crash is right where nvapi_64 is being hooked, and NVidia might have changed something. Be sure to do a clean install with DDU, on the off chance that it is corruption related.

Also commented out the Profile section. Is not working.
It seems I have to try it with another driver.
Didn't know this about files-upload. Any recommendation for a better directuploader?

Does anybony have a solution to the constant crashes? I don't remember having them before, but in the meantime I've changed from Win7 to Win10 and there have been a couple of game patches a well I think.
It's come to not be able to finish even half a mission now, due to crashes, and the sparse checkpoints don't help.

Still the same :-(
No difference with 1.4. So where do we stand.
Drivers do not make a difference.
Turning off the profile in the ini does not make a difference.
Different versions of the fix is not changing the start problems.
What else can we try? Any launcher options, Administrator launching maybe. I don't know.
For whom is it actually working and what is your setup?
