New game out now, Trackmania 2 Canyon and it looks promising in 3D Vision. I've had some issues with inconsistent depth and convergance settings from track to track but I think if there was an Nvidia profile for it then that should sort it out. Only place I've found to download it from is http://www.trackmania.com/. Andrew, are Nvidia working with Ubisoft or Nadeo with this game? I highly recommend this game, there are apparently thousands of tracks online already. I'm having an issue with vsync though, it runs at 30fps with 3D vision on and 60fps without!

We have tested this on two systems, and the 3D is shocking.
The right eye stays shut on the glasses making it impossible to play :( There are options within the game to adjust 3D settings but sadly this doesn't fix the 3D right eye shutter. Tested this on latest BETA's.

Hold on there a minute, I have tested it again with the new Beta driver 285.27 and in the most part the 3D is brilliant. I sorted out my 30fps limit. I had settings on full, which I thought with 2 GTX480s SLI'd it would be more than capable but once I lowered some settings I'm back up to 60fps. Now there are some MP tracks that don't work that well with 3D vision, ie the Right lens screen doesn't move and this also happens in the menus sometimes but that said, the SP tracks are great with 3D and a lot of the MP ones of the countless servers are too.
I have to add, SLI doesn't work at the moment and there is no Nvidia profile for this game but in NCP I have set my other card to control AA only so until Nvidia bring out a profile we're stuck with that.

I've been in the beta, The game uses a native 3D rendering engine, I don't have Nvidia 3D Vision but I use the interlaced mode for my Zalman screen.
Interlaced works relatively well but the down sampling is simple discard lines : it creates a lot of aliasing where a proper downscaling filter would have saved a lot of detail.
Side by side modes are also there but the HUD does not work, you'll have to switch it off (using the keypad * key), just like the previous trackmania game.
The main issue I have is the 3D mode self switching off whenever the game loads a new map or when you change some specific graphics options even though the actual slider in the game options is still on. I have to manually switch it off and back on at every new map before it actually works.
Convergence is fixed, the convergence setting in the 3D glasses menu has no effect.
Cameras 1 & 2 (follow cams) have a great balance between pop-out and depth
Camera 3 (hood cam) has mostly depth (almost no pop-out)
There is a problem though : whenever you switch to cam 3 it does not reset the convergence when going back to cameras 1 & 2 until you load an other map.
The other bug is the HUD : it's 100% at screen depth, including the floating player names in multiplayer, you can turn it off though. When making a custom map with custom cameras, you can adjust the convergence point and separation at horizon. If you include text or titles in the custom map, you won't be able to project them at depth though because they're HUD elements.
I made a test map with custom intro and replay cameras with custom 3D, I tried out various depth and pop-out settings. You can download it from here : http://tm.mania-exchange.com/tracks/view/3090/scratch-the-paint
The map is not password protected, so if you want to see how I set the cameras up, you can open the map in the editor.

I just saw this thread today and tried the build. I definitely have issues in the game with weight left/right eye problems, convergence not wortking, and eyes swapping.
They never worked with us on support, so I will need to contact them and find out if we can make this better.

Hello,
I'm the graphic developer from Nadeo.
I've posted an email to "NVidia's developer relations" about several issues we got with drivers/3DVision more than 3 months ago
(including theses 3DVision problems), with game keys included for test purpose.
I've posted also 3-4 more emails to them because I get no reply.
I never get any answer from them, though they replied to me on other questions on the same email on january 2011.
I hope the communication 'll get back soon...

Hi there, /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
any news? I use 3DTV Play with a 60inch 3D Plasma. 3D Mode is not playable @1080p to me. Which driver version should I use for 2D/3D? I would love to play this game in 3D @ 1080p! 720p is a little playable, but because of the size of the plasma not really good looking!

I'm interested about this too. Single player works perfectly, but multiplayer is unplayable cause right eye doesnt work and shows still picture of race start. Interestingly in game menu middle of race shows 3D correctly for both eye. Pity I cant drive when menu is showing... /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Since this game is really fast and has HUUUUUUGE jumps it is real annoyance 3D Vision doesnt work.
