i have an acer h5360 projector.it works with 3d vision good, optomo 3d xl is coming out which allows me to watch sky 3d,xbox 3d and ps3 3d but it uses dlp link (which is also on projector) but i have 4 sets of 3d vision glasses which i would prefer to keep @ the price they cost me i dont want to be buying another set but £54 for a simple cable is extortion, the optomo has a vesa port for stereo sync.
hope this explains better.
Alot is this a store name as i never heard before?

Thanks for reply!

do you have any links below 30 dollars as the price seems rediculous.
Nvidia need to get this rectified as i for one will never purchase another nvidia product and am posting about this on other techno sites so for them being greedy it will cost them in long run.

DLP link does NOT need a sync cable. It works by inserting white frames in the image so the glasses know when to switch.

EDIT: Nevermind, I didn't understand that you want to use the 3d vision glasses with the optoma 3d xl device. I wonder if it will work, in any case the emitter will still need to be connected to a computer and the computer needs to be in 3d mode for the emitter to work, but I guess it will then accept the sync from the vesa port.

no it doesnt .
hdmi connection is inserted to this optomo box (2 ports) and it then sends signal to projector.
so you can basically use any device as far as i interprit.
there is a vesa port on the back of the optomo 3d xl which i need to cable to connect to 3d vision emitter.
As far as i see this would do the trick and save me buying another set of dlp non rechargable glasses when i am quite happy with nvidia glasses.
my htpc box plays 3d games and bluray perfect (well not good games with gt 240),this is really for sky 3d for football etc,but would be good to get my xbox 360 running .
If anyone got any links worldwide to this cable i would be obliged

in the uk they are retailing for £54 which is excessive,i was hoping someone here might not be using one and would consider selling or give me link in USA to website that sells as usually cheaper
