Since you've tried replacing all your components, including OS and drivers- what about your cable?
Cable problems can cause sync and dropout sort of problems as well.
If you can try another cable. At a minimum reseat the cable on both ends.
I don't know that this can cause a crash, but the world is complicated. If it times out, that can cause the software to go south.
It's definitely something unique to your setup, I haven't heard anyone with crashing problems with Batman.
