It should be interesting to know which drivers are Helix/3Dmigoto compatible.
I tried to upgrade to last version today (344.60) and found that most of the fixed shaders of my "Rise of flight" Helix fix were flashing....(I am a SLI of 2 660 Ti user).
I did not follow news until the 331 broke the Helix compatibilty.
Am I stuck forever to 320.49 drivers for DX9 games ?
Did I miss some information to ensure Helix mod compatibility with older driver versions ?

331.82 works for me on all of my games, so I've not changed it. I'm even using it as the main display driver for Oculus Rift, as opposed to their own display driver. 337.88 sounds good too, but the 344.XX versions appear to be an absolute minefield right now. What broke the stereoscopy on many of my games recently was Steam's version of Trine 1 and 2. It installed DirectX 11.2 along with them. So I promptly uninstalled them, and reverted back to DirectX 11.0, which I have on both Win 7 and Win 8.1. I'm also using GTX Titans in triple SLI. Double check what version of DirectX you have, as I'm sticking to DX11.0 for the time being.

Latest one works for me but I don't install HDMI Audio or Geforce Experience. I use GeDoSaTo and bandicam instead. Only problem I have now is that GeDoSaTo can't start with windows on a standard account. But that's better than HDMI Audio not turning on when a device is connected, yall's shadowplay problems, yall's dsr problems, and redoing graphics settings for games over and over again once a new driver is installed.
Awaiting a finished oculus or totem release so I can finally use side by side mode in tridef in peace without having to be on fullscreen.

I tried 337.88, 335.23 => same problem of "flashing shaders" with Rise of Flight, with or without SLI...Is it special options to try in DX9settings.ini ?
331.82 are OK for RoF.
I was thinking of buying an Asus swift to benefit of 1440p 3DVISION, but it seems that I will be not able to benefit also of GSYNC, as I cannot go over 337.88....

Shinra358, yeah at times it's just endless tinkering, and not actually playing anything. I'm learning to live with a desktop resolution of 1280 x 1024 in order to match the OR's refresh rate. I just can't be bothered to change it back to it's native resolution every single time. Thanks for the heads up on the audio issue.
lefuneste, congratulations on eventually persevering with this problem. Once you think that your system is operating as you want it to, please do create a system restore point just as soon as that's the case.
It's unfortunate that PC components and their applications have a shelf life with regards to driver support. As no two PCs are ever identical, it's a matter of judgement as to how much you can get working and still have the system remain stable. Running a system optimised for stereoscopic 3D is as precarious as balancing an egg on a spoon, whilst sprinting at top speed. With all the eggs dropped thus far, I could make one really massive omelette. My rig really isn't that old, but I've accepted that I can't run the newest DX11.1 and DX11.2 games in 3D without possibly losing some or even many of my older DX9 games in the process. Trine 2 looked really good, but not enough to lose out on playing some of my older DX9 games.

So the most recent (or least old) driver version that I should use is the 332.21.
Are these drivers compatible with Gsync ? In the fisrt post it is written that the minimum required drivers are 340.52 but, on the other hand, I found some test of GSync with the 331.93 : http://www.anandtech.com/show/7582/nvidia-gsync-review/2

I would go ahead and try 340.52. That driver is easily the best driver of the latest lot, and should support g-sync.
The older drivers might have g-sync beta support, but not finalized. Might work.
Please let us know what you find out, too many variants for me to test by myself of course- but I'll update the first post as people find stuff out and report in. Either bad or good.

It says 331.58 onwards? If they were still in beta form, that would be mischievously misleading of them to advertise as recommended would it not? I'm not complaining though. If I could get G-Sync operative on my current driver and pick up a ROG Swift, happy days! 331.93 might be worth adding to the list.

Flashing Helix modified shaders for "Rise of Flight" in DX9 up to 334.89 version. Not the case for 332.21 version and below.
Do not know if it's the same for other games....
Regarding Gsync, I have to wait at least until Christmas to be able to try, because I do not have yet Gsync screen !

bo3b,
Gave Shadows of Mordor a try on Win 8.1. using 331.82, fully aware that a 344.xx driver was actually recommended for the 3D fix on this one. SLI didn't respond, staying at 71 fps for each configuration, nor did the 3D wrapper kick in. This is all simply for reference purposes only, no remedy expected, as I'm sticking with my current driver through hell or high water. I haven't tried it on Win 7 yet, as I'm unsure as to how much difference that would make in the end. My approach has been to steadily accumulate games that work with my setup, rather than turn my system upside down to accommodate a specific game. A case in point being Alien: Isolation on max settings. SLI scales very well from an average of roughly 85 fps on a single Titan, to around a 135 fps average using dual SLI. The 3D wrapper also works brilliantly, so for me it's just a matter of hit and miss.

I just got a 2nd GTX 780 (Asus DCII) to add to my existing Zotac reference 780 card. Did a complete uninstall of drivers using DDU, and installed 320.49. The next 2-3 hours of my life gone because I was not getting the option to enable SLI to appear, and all sorts of attempts to resolve the issue. With all the praise everyone makes on 320.49 being the safest bet for a driver I had ruled that out, and it wasn't until I tried nearly everything else that I finally decided updating to the latest driver 344.75, that immediately SLI became available.
Just mentioning this in case it should somehow help someone else.
From the comments in the OP, I'm concerned that even though this is working that maybe it's not the most ideal driver version (although the inclusion of DHR sounds nice... anyone know how well it works in comparison to Gedosato?), but none of the other comments seem to suggest which previous driver might make as a good alternative. Anyone with SLI want to pipe in as to what works best for them?
Edit: I see Bob's suggestion for 340.52. I'm gonna give that a try because I just fired up Metro 2033 Redux and it's a mess even with the fix (not that it was perfect before, but now there's several sections which are just separated way more than other parts)

Odd result there with 320.49. I really would expect that to be the best experience currently.
I'm running SLI 760 now, and with that driver I have no problem having it see SLI and enabling it. Not at all sure why your 780s would not work there. A quick search of the web does indicate that they didn't get 780 stabilized until later though.

Tried again with 320.49 and same result. Must be that the Asus DCUII is not fully supported until a later driver revision... even though the card itself works fine with the driver, SLI is definitely a no go. I've tested 337.50 & 340.52, in addition to the latest version, and they all work with SLI.
Haven't been able to do any extensive testing to find which ones provide best performance, or any problems... but what I can say is that I'm experiencing issues in the one game I've been playing since getting the card: Tomb Raider, which is some intermittent, but semi-frequent twitchiness (best word I can describe it, occasionally the entire screen just twitches even though fraps is reporting steady 60 FPS). Gonna take a lot of testing to figure out if it's related to the driver/SLI, one of my cards being bad/undervolted, my PSU, or the game itself. Fun times ahead! If I find anything substantial which may be of use I'll add my findings here.

twitchiness
I had that once. Turns out it was a faulty card. I'd suggest testing each one by itself.
Yep, it's definitely my Zotac card causing those issues. Had the issues prior (but wasn't certain if it wasn't my PSU, or something else until now), and did testing with just the Asus, and no glitches/crashes whatsoever.
I managed to get the Zotac working without issue by bumping up the volts, substantially underclocking it (-78MHz), and setting the fan to 100% over 80 degrees (it'll easily climb into the 90s if I let it). Fortunately having 2 cards in SLI now makes underclocking a non-issue for the time being, but still pretty sucky that I gotta do it since it's effectively making both cards underperform, and reduces their future use longevity. Wonder if it's within reason to RMA the card because of it... at least if I can it wont be so bad having to send it in now that I got the replacement card to tide me over until the return.

I'm running SLI 760 now, and with that driver I have no problem having it see SLI and enabling it. Not at all sure why your 780s would not work there. A quick search of the web does indicate that they didn't get 780 stabilized until later though.
