I still need to finish the last game but it's great news that these features are supported. Unfortunately the pattern was established a long time ago that day 1 on release there will always be bugs. I have faith that the issues will be resolved but as others have said it, just reiterates the perils of being an early adopter of anything. Personally I almost never buy a game on release, I wait until the inevitable bug fixes/patches/driver updates/3d fixes have been issued and take it from there. I don't even feel sad about it, I just take it as being normal now. Plus the games normally get cheap fairly quickly! Anyway, apologies as that's going off topic. Publishers rely on people to buy games on day one.
yeah, sucks, but I like the series and I thought this time it will be different. ;)
Yes and it's a big shame the 3d is problematic off the bat, as they have a good track record. But, you could polarize the two camps into: a) Early adopters are naive/stupid/optimistic/have too much money etc. etc. b) You've supported a publisher/studio who has a good track record and/or cares about what you care about. In this case, you could argue that by purchasing the game early it vindicates and supports Nixxes. Obviously 3d support is a bit different, but it's a bit like CDPRs Cyberpunk game, it looks amazing and probably will be, but inevitably, you'll have a better experience if you wait for all the improvements post release. Plus it will drop in price as time goes on.

The official release date is today! So, this time WAS DIFFERENT! DAY ONE PROPER 3D STEREO SUPPORT! The fact they pushed a PATCH ON RELEASE DAY is very Awesome in my book! (I'm going to actually write them an e-mail about it!) I want to see other developers DO THE SAME! (Oh probably they forgot what 3D Vision is by now, or they pretend they have no clue...) I am really really happy to see they kept and improved all the awesomeness from ROTTR fix and polished it with some help from DarkStarSword and me (in minor capacity -from the rottr fix). Now then, I really need to fix my PC (damn Windows updates broke everything including my developing environment and so on) and try this beauty in 3D Surround! (Hopefully my again 980Ti SLI is up to the task to give a decent performance).
I want to see other developers DO THE SAME! (Oh probably they forgot what 3D Vision is by now, or they pretend they have no clue...)
Well, it seems that also Nixxes forgot what 3D Vision is: only SBS works but the 3D Vision output is broken ;) Nevertheless it is of course great that stereoscopic 3D per se is supported by Nixxes! Just tried 3D Vision Discover (anaglyph) but I have the same issue with the game always switching between 3D Vision on/off... Anyone tried to run the game with a Nvidia driver that was actual when ROTTR got the 3D patch and use the ROTTR profile for SOTTR? Maybe something changed in the drivers so the handling of enabling/disabling 3D Vision by a game doesn't work the way it was for ROTTR. Does ROTTR still work correctly with the actual driver (I don't have ROTTR installed ATM)? Just an idea, can't try it now by myself, have to go to bed...
