So... I am trying to generate all the .Bin files from the .txt files. I used 3DMigoto_compiler for this;) and it generates the shdr files which then I rename to .bin files (and add the "_reasm" suffix at the end). What I noticed is that even if I do this, the wrapper still regenerates the .bin files... Is this because I am missing the "crc_reasm.txt" files for that shader? If I copy the "crc.txt" to "crc_reasm.txt" and generate the "crc_reasm.bin" for all the shaders, will this stop 3DMigoto from recompiling all the shaders and use the .bin ones that I supply?:) I want to see how big the performance impact is when is building them vs when loading them.

That's all historical and we should remove all the reasm files and replace them with a proper cache. The bin files it exported were originally added to compare with the original binary (export_binary=1) to locate damage from the floating point precision issue in the MS disassembler, and to allow us to repair the binary (I still have a python script in my 3d-fixes repo to do that repair), but now 3DMigoto self repairs the shaders after they have been disassembled so we don't really need that any more. Bo3b mentioned he was going to work on this this weekend, so hopefully the next version out will do better.

Latest patch of the game allows to choose Direct X 12, but not in association with Native 3D Vision (that is working sufficient with still a lot of problems)...

Is working like before.. crappy 3D Vision support with weird depth/convergence and broken lights/effects etc... Nothing changed... The above guy is confused and comes to post in the COMMUNITY FIX section about the OFFICIAL FIX and DX12 which nobody hare cares about... I bet he didn't even try our fix, but hey! 3D Vision, thread about 3D, "let's write here" ^_^
sorry helifax, big mistake, I'm going to try your fix, sure it's better :-(
Heh, nothing to worry about there. Problem is the one sentence you wrote there is not related to our fix. Although is interesting and I actually managed to make DX12 work with 3D Vision Automatic (not 3D Vision Direct which is DISABLED from their game if you use DX12) everything is extremely broken! The official fix is also worse in terms of stereo 3D compared to our community one. There is a whole thread here related to this: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/919928/3d-vision/rise-of-the-tomb-raider-2016-3d-vision-fix/ In some pages (in the beginning you can actually see what is the difference) Hope this helps:)

Hi all..playing with official fix on windows 10 368.22 driver. i have a 2x gtx 970 sli config and just found out that according to ingame benchmarks performance was better without sli than with!! Playing on High settings with purehair and motionblur off : SLI DISABLED : OVERALL SCORE 50fps SLI ENABLED : OVERALL SCORE 40fps SLI ENABLED (SLI BITS TWEAK BUT FLICKERING) : OVERALL SCORE 50fps. quite disappointing...reading around it seems that the poor sli scaling only happens in windows 10..tried older drivers but they were giving about the same results...is it for real????

I'm not sure if this is new but, since the last update, 4K side by side 3D is a steady 60fps with everything on max except AA with DX12 enabled. Without DX12 on normal 3D vision it still has issues. Game looks better than ever now, at least for me.

dx12 side by side 3d is only working on display devices supporting SBS right ? there is no way you can get it converted to regular 120hz on dlp 3d devices ? I'm still stuck with poor (negative!) dx11 sli scaling @ 720p on my 3d vision ready projector..i did some tests and dx11 sli scaling is good starting at 1440p resolutions (using dsr) but even there the fps is not better than single gpu @ 720p and the gain in quality is nothing compared to smooth 60fps experience in my view!! I was thinking of selling my 2 gtx 970 to buy a gtx 1080 but then those do not include analog (VGA) support through dvi-i anymore. only dvd-d is supported. so to make it work i would need an extra dvi-d to vga converter and i'm not even sure this would support 120hz resolutions...what a freakin pain in the XXX!!!
