i am using the lg55 lx9500 led 3d tv with nvidia gts450 and the latest nvidia drivers.
I did the test with no problem and after that i run the test application and the 3d was ok.
The problem is that when i play games like burnout paradise, mafia 2 etc,the 3d mode comes on
the tv tell me to put glasses on,i understand that the glasses are working but there is no 3d
effect ass if the is no separation between the left and right image!!!
Any help?
To make things easier, everything is working properly on my old samsung 2233 and since i am
familiar with 3d all settings according to refresh rates,resolution,3d mode,3d type etc must
be right except if i am missing something for this lg55lx9500 3d tv or nvidia 3dtv play.
I noticed that in nvidia 3d settings i can not use depth when lg55lx9500 is used, however with
samsung 2233 depth control is not gray and is available.
Is there a way to force the nvidia 3d driver threw registry to a certain depth?
Is what i think the problem or something else?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
P.S. With lg55lx9500 i use the tv glasses and with samsung 2233 the 3d vision glasses.

Yes i tried this mode but it does not work.I understand that nvidia supports page flipping which
is not compatible with the lg55lx9500,however the 3dtv play mode solved this issue and i run the
nvidia test with success choosing checkerboard mode but when in game no 3d effect no depth control!
I always play games in 3d in the past with my samsung 2233 and now i managed to buy
a bigger screen it looks as if i can not use it for gaming!Anyway i should have known better before buying this LG model.
I keep searching on the net, if i find something i will post it here.
Thanx for your replay.

Checkerboard mode is one of three optional 3D modes in the nvidia control panel after you install 3D Vision. Did you choose "generic 3D DLP HDTV"?
Also, how did you convert from default 3DTV Play to 3D Vision?

Both the Nvidia 3D Driver and your LG must be in CB mode. Apparently you are launching a game in 3DTV Play (framepacking) and trying to put your LG in CB mode. I'll PM you and tell you how to 3D game in superior 3D Vision.

Thanx for your replay.
Yes i tried this mode but it does not work.I understand that nvidia supports page flipping which
is not compatible with the lg55lx9500,however the 3dtv play mode solved this issue and i run the
nvidia test with success choosing checkerboard mode but when in game no 3d effect no depth control!
Apparently you were not in checkerboard mode.

When i choose samsung 2233 i can change 3d modes and depth. When i choose the lg55lx9500 the depth is gray and the 3d modes are replaced with the 3dtv logo.
I have never noticed that there is checkerboard mode even when i can choose 3d modes,i will look again and tell you.
Thanks

Both the Nvidia 3D Driver and your LG must be in CB mode. Apparently you are launching a game in 3DTV Play (framepacking) and trying to put your LG in CB mode. I'll PM you and tell you how to 3D game in superior 3D Vision.
