I just added a second GTX 285 to my system and was excited to see the performance increases in 3D, but unfortunately it seems to really degrade the image quality. I'm noticing far more issues with ghosting, and just some overall weird convergance issues when SLI is enabled, along with general graphic glitches. Titan Quest and Lost Planet, for instance, work fantasticly in single gpu mode, but when I play them them with SLI on, they are pretty much unplayable because of severe graphical glitches, such as textures disapearing and popping up out of nowhere, or in incorrect places. Other games, like Burnout Paradise, are playable, but just with bad ghosting added in. The games also work okay with SLI on but no 3D Vision, it's only with both modes activated.
I know that 3 way and 4 way SLI are not supported, but they said regular 2 way SLI is, and I didn't see any warnings about issues with it. Does anyone else have experience with SLI and 3D vision? Any tips? Is this something that may be fixed in the future via upcoming driver updates? It doesn't seem like it should be a limitation with the tech, I'm not sure what with 3D vision combined with SLI is causing graphical glitches, seems like this is a driver issue? Thanks for any help.

I currently use SLI with 2x8800GT cards and everything seems to work VERY well. I havent tested my FPS with fraps yet (with and without), but let me do that and report back my statistics. I am currently using 182.08 video drivers and v1.06 3D Vision drivers.

I testing in SLI and mine starts @ 60 FPS in SLI and when I turn on 3D it drops between 35-42...this was on Left 4 Dead, COD2, COD4 and UT3. I did notice of course a much better frame rate playing older games like COD2 and Max Payne (which actually hung around 55-60 most of the time).
Off to try NO SLI and see what I get...
BTW, new beta drivers are available as of yesterday if you are tempted.

OK...finally did this so its good to know. I got about the same frame rate with NO SLI until a LOT starting going on in the game...when things get busy the SLI seems to maintain a much better frame rate but NO SLI drops quickly to the 20's instead of hanging in the mid to high 30's. Call of Duty and Left 4 Dead really get busy and can put a lot of load on one card.
Thats my results with my rig so I will stick with SLI to maintain the performance.....

I also have 2xGTX285s SLI. These are excellent cards which allow me to max most games at 2560x1600 using good antialiasing.
I am very interested in purchasing 3DVision. However I have seen at least one or two other posts of users having poor performance or ghosting issues using GTX280 series cards in SLI WITH 3DVision.
Would appreciate hearing any follow up on your issues, or from anyone else's experience with SLI'd 285's and 3DVision.

standard driver NVidia has not much get prettier compatibility
when I have installed the special driver (when installing driver has offered to do the choice (Driver components>SLI sistems or Standart sistems ? .................................. /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I click >SLI sistems ))
and MARK 2005 has shown result +(96-98%) .... ~ FPS x 2
