What is your comparison between Optoma the HD66 and the Lightspeed Design's DepthQ HDs3D-1 projector? I checked on spec and I don't see too much difference between the two besides the bulbs. Big price difference though.
Can you put a polarization modulator over the output of the Optoma?

All I am trying to do is create a more immersive feeling for pc gaming.
I currently have a screen setup on the front of a race car (F1 style) cockpit.
I was simply curious about using the curved screen and if it would effect the 3D Vision in a negative manner.

oh, I was talkin about GPLavoie 's polarization modulator, SORRY!!!
Curved screen you can do that for yourself, plenty to read over there at avsforums
I found you can even buy 2 projector edge blending hardware, that may work with 3d vision? I dunno. PRice is steep though 1800 usd. Maybe it worths it if you build the screen yourself and spare a lot of money? Who knows when it becomes obsolete tho.
