Where is D-Man11 ???
  1 / 4
whyme466 asked this question in another thread, and I decided to make a thread about this topic ! D-Man11 was indeed very active on this forum, and his inputs regarding new tech, new games and his common knowlegde was very appreciated.... I had a lot of - in periods allmost daily contact with him, and we PM'ed each other more than 400 times, so I considered him to be my friend... Last time I heard from him was 19-06-17 and suddenly not a word from him, the same time he disapeared from the public forum... I'm actually kind of worried for him, because I can't imagine that he'll just abandon us all without a single word !!! Does anybody know anything related, please chime in !

My last PM from him was back in April. According to the forums: "Last seen on Jun 28 2017". We can only wait and hope for the best, unless someone else has more information. Is he in the "Nvidia 3D Vision Gamers" Steam group (with a different name, I guess)?

No clue, I've been wondering the same thing... I PM'd him on July 30th but he never responded. Last thing I really remember was him talking about was being on vacation with the family, it was around the holiday(4th of July) so I kind of figured that was it but that was 2 months ago...

Indeed; people keep disappearing. Even the serial poster of 3D Vision wisdom, the mighty bo3b, was last seen 5 whole weeks ago... Hoping both are OK!

Can someone tell me what happened to 4everAwake - I gather he retired while I was out? I know that DJ-RK is busy with his new job.

Yes I read on here 4everawake stopped making fixes, a real loss... He was the man regarding the more obscure indie games. DJ-RK is still around, but a busy yeah. I am looking at Xcom 2: War of the chosen which was released today and unfortunately they have broken his fix a bit. am looking at it now. Game installs into it's own directory but most of the fix still works as long as you put the files in the right place, shadows broken though.
