For 3DVision, often Vsync must be disabled in game settings and set to on in NVcontrol panel
For many games that are not 3DVision Ready, it is important to disable vsync in game settings but enable it in the NV control panel. This includes many games like Darksiders 2, and Dead Space 3 which use Helix Mod, as well as many others that do not. For many games, if vsync is turned on in game settings, it seems that the Nvidia driver will use its own vsync when 3D vision is enabled. This can create a situation in which 2 separate vsyncs are operating effectively against each other. The result is microstutter which can appear as a type of blurring with camera motion (esp rotation) even when using high end cards. Because the frames are not timed properly (highly variable interframe intervals ), you can still see a good frame rate (e.g. on FRAPS) but will have a very annoying, stuttering experience. Yup, I had the same problem in Darksiders 2 (I'm running 2 680's in SLI).

the vsync option in dead space enables a 30 fps cap. (same thing in nfs the run.)

Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD also suffers from this. There is an .ini in the install folder that you have to "enable" v-sync...WAY BETTER!!!

I can't be sure yet, but this seems to have helped in Mass Effect. With triple buffering.
