stereoeffect immediately off with Logitech G25, using shifter and clutch
Hi,

my problem is: I play the racing sim rfactor or also GTLegends and I use Nvidia 3 D vision. Everything is fine, except I use the shifter unit with the single gears and the clutch pedal. Then sometimes immediately the stereo image changes to mono, so I see thw streets and come in trouble. By pressing the cluth shortly, the stereo effect comes back, but some laps later, the same problem comes back. I have this effect, but I can not say exactly, when it will happen, it is not at constant times and only whith this type of shifting. It is fine with the paddles at the wheel an with the shifter in sequential mode. I tried all the new drivers from Nvidia and from Logitech, all the same.

I hope, someone can help

I tried something new:

I deleted all the shortcuts for 3d in Nvidia settings to prevent for double input (but I didn't press a button or combination in rfactor and it is not a problem from rfactor, this also happens in other racing sims when I use the shifter with clutch). The same problem was there, the 2 images were flickering, so that it is impossible to drive.

If your image is flickering it could be an issue with the IR and the glasses. Make sure there is clear line of sight between the emitter and the glasses, ideally positioned near your monitor. Also try reducing any ambient light, from outside or turn off any lights inside.

thx, but 3D works fine, except I use the single gears of the shifter.
I tried another thing: I switched 3D off via shortcut and had the game
in 2D and even then came the flickering sometimes, so as if it tried to
switch to 3 D and back, exact the same effect I had when I had 3 D on.

Logitech wrote to me to change the ID of the clutch pedal, but what they
didn't tell me is how to do this. I'm waiting for their answer for some month now.

I assume you've tried the obvious and put the emitter in other USB ports?
You ideally want one that isn't on the same hub.

Your clutch when used issues a key command, the same with the shifter. So let's say the keybinding for the clutch is "control" and the shifter is keybound to "t". So when you use both at the same time it toggles 3D off, then toggles it back on when used again.

You need to reassign the key commands, for the cluch/shifter within the game/periphial software. Or, in the Nvidia control panel change the hotkeys to toggle 3D.

thx D-Man11: Problem solved!
Made a new player and set everything with ESC to off except Throttle, brake, clutch, the gears, seat-adjustment and light. Now everything is fine.
But new problem: Tomorrow we leave to visit our daughter for 8 days, so no GTLegend-mod ;-))
