Cool thing about dark athena is they enhanced butcher bays graphics when they did dark athena. Got me to do second playthrough. Butcher bay was so good. Dark athena was ok.

try that. Also try to change compatibility on .exe to windows xp.

That doesn't help.
The game works perfectly fine if I don't try and force 3D Vision mode using GLDirect. That thread is for people that get that error loading the game in normal conditions. Changing the compatibility to Windows XP doesn't help in the least.

You could try using TitaniumGL instead. It seems to be updated more frequently than GLDirect. The "Gallery" page of the TitaniumGL Website even shows RTCW running.

RTCW already works with GLDirect and at full framerate and full resolution (1080p+).
Titanium GL only gives decent framerate if you run it in 800x600, but he is making considerable progress. The guy needs a modern graphics so he can test what he's doing. As far as I understand, he's running old outdated hardware.

- I've got running 'Anachronox' (windowed at the moment) and 'Blade: the edge of darkness', only adding
Opengl32.dll from Gldirect last release into executable directories and with minor editing. 'Anachronox'
needs, at least, to disable fullscreen from the .bat that starts the game (this is because it only gives
original resolutions). 'Blade' needs a previous install of the unofficial patch that includes a new
rOpengl raster.
hey i have a question what opengl version should i need to play minecraft ive been recieving tons of errors on minecraft and i download your 3d opengl32.dll i download it and it theres an error pop up

Helifax has been working on a special build of his wrapper to be used with Minecraft. It's currently in an Alpha release with no current time frame for public release until further testing and fixes are performed.

Hi vergara - as D-Man11 notes this is a really "hot off the press" development. Helifax has an alpha release that only I have right now because I am going to look at the shadows. However, I can say right now that it looks *fantastic*. I am super hyped about it ;-) There are some minecraft dependencies and mods that must be in place, notably the GLSL shaders mod (SEUS), because the wrapper needs that to fix the game. Minecraft must be v1.7.10 as well. When it's all ready it will be made available with full details :-)

Since all this talk of the 3D and its decline I was going through a couple of games I love to play in 3D again and the first is Star Wars Jedi Knight II, it works, though the crosshair is in 2D and not using a crosshair really makes things difficult. Is there a solution to that? Or do I have to live with it?
Thanks for the guide on it!! Very cool to see one of my all time favorite games in 3D

Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Return to Castle Wolfenstein no longer require GLDirect to be added. All you need to do is edit the config folder and edit seta r_stereo "0" to seta r_stereo "1".
Set depth and convergence as needed by changing seta cg_stereoSeparation "0.4" and
seta s_separation "0.5"
The Nvidia laser sight will not work since it's OpenGL, but you can edit seta cg_crosshairSize "4" to make the in-game crosshair small or change seta cg_drawCrosshair "1" to 0.

Thanks! Will try it when I get home from work tomorrow. I never played such games without crosshairs, are there a lot of people who are able to use such games without crosshairs? Or is it pretty impossable?

The default crosshair size is 24, setting it to 4 makes it pretty small. Set it to 1 and it's just a dot.
I played Jedi Academy without the crosshair and it wasn't a problem. But I mostly used the light sabres and force powers.
Jedi Academy had a weird cutscene bug where the screen rendered for the second eye isn't fullscreen. I think it's related to subtitles. Even though I had them turned off, the area reserved for them still seemed to pop up.
EDIT: you can also try
seta dismemberment "1000"
seta cg_dismember "1000"
seta g_dismember "1000"

Has anyone been able to get either Jedi Outcast or Academy working properly as of 359.06? The game seems to be rendering in stereo but 3D Vision won't pick it up.
Edit: Using GOG versions of both games, stereo set in cfg, at 2560x1440 on PG278Q.
