Are you sure the fix is unzipped right? The "d3d11.dll" file (and the rest of files and ShaderFixes folder) should be inside the "Devil May Cry 5" folder.
Also, try not using ReShade just in case.
I was certain xD
But apologies, it is working. I did a clean tool reinstall (which I already did before asking though) and it went fine. Not sure what went wrong before.
I had already done a clean override of fix's files. Maybe it has to do with this another 3DMigoto Fix installed prior ( https://framedsc.github.io/GameGuides/devil_may_cry_5.htm not sure if it's yours there).
Although I'll have to confirm, it seems that when used with ReShade, there's a sever perfomance hit making it unplayable.
Thanls again for your work and the quick answer!

I didn't upload that. Stick to what I post here or in the helixmod blog :). I think that I'm going to disable vignette by default in the next update. It's too annoying.

Other people reported that too. I can't do anything about it. 3Dmigoto will have to improve about that, I think.

In any case, many thanks masterotaku!
Here, I thought you might appreciate:

Finished the game to unlock "Son of Sparda" difficulty last night. (I couldn't' wait) I love how in this game the advanced difficulties actually change the game, Creatures and attack patterns instead of just artificially bloating damage, health ect.
One of the greatest Video games I have played in a long time and the first game for a while I have immediately just wanted to play through again. It's a very video gamey video game, like like they used to make. But also sick cinematic's in 3D
I will try to hold off on further plays until the fix matures a little. Will look mindblowing if the particle effects get fixed correctly. Thanks a lot Masterotaku.

You're lucky, Necropants. Copied from the RE7 thread:
"Attention, everyone! Redownload the RE7 fix. It now contains a setting (thanks to Kaimasta) that avoids all crashes!
If you want to try it with RE2 and DMC5 before I update their fixes, it's "0x00b82343 = 0x00000002" (put it below "StereoTextureEnable = 0x00000023").
I'm going to be trying to see how far I can go fixing particles in RE2 and DMC5."
Edit: hehe, fixed particles in DMC5 (many of them). I need to test their stability now.
Edit 2: more particles fixed (bats).

The fix is on the blog at last: https://helixmod.blogspot.com/2019/03/devil-may-cry-5.html
All particles fixed, all remaining haloing problems fixed. Vendor extensions working.
The risk of crashes is very low. A lot lower than before. But sadly not 100% unavoidable. Most likely caused by "[TextureOverride_Particles1]". If you disable that block, you'll break its particles, but fix crashes. Which should be rare as I said. I played a lot of problematic missions without problems with the magic setting that fixed RE2 and RE7 too.

Bloody Palace working correctly as it is, as I expected :). At least the first 13 stages.
Just to be safe, I have updated and uploaded the fix to keep it up to date with Resident Evil 2, with a very small tweak to one regex. Probably no one needs this unless they changed the "UseOptimizeShader" to "Disable", which wasn't needed at any moment.

Thank you for that great fix. I found out why volumetric light was broken for me. If I change the render resolution in the game settings higher than 100% (tried all up to 150%) the lights are broken. If I change the resolution via DSR to e.g. 1440p volumetric lights are fine. Is this behavior a known issue or am I missing any settings?

Fix updated. The update from a few days ago broke graphics, which I fixed with just this:
[TextureOverride_Geometry5_june]
Hash=6526a198
StereoMode = 2
Grab the new fix, people!

It's still broken for me and I did a fresh install.
Really weird graphical corruption like rock textures coming through the player model and flickering cutscenes.
Just a heads up though. I am using driver 430.86
Have you tried it with this driver yet? But I haven't had any issues with any other games so far including resident evil 2 remake
