Dual camera for stereoscopic 3D media creation
Aloha two eyed people! This is not game related, but wouldn't it be just fantastic if the rumours about the next Galaxy Note being provided with a dual camera would be true? Wouldn't it be sad if these two cameras would NOT be at interpupillary distance? I have just received an invitation to join Samsung's Smartlab+ and "let [my] voice be heard". I have created a topic about this matter and it would be great if, in case you care about creating immersive experiences with your next mobile, you guys would join the discussion and give your support to this idea. I would love a new 3D smartphone with a 3D screen. I missed my chance with the LG Optimus 3D and HTC EVO 3D.

3D Vision must live! NVIDIA, don't let us down!

Tell them we want a "Glossy" SyncMaster 3D VIsion certified monitor, like the S27A950D should have been. But without the ridiculous/exorbiant price tag that they slapped on the S27A950D. Also a 1920x1080@120Hz DLP projector would be awesome.

Hmm, seems this dual camera stuff is simply taking two images to combine for a better 2D photo and have nothing to do with 3D. The tech is interesting and would seemingly be great if they offered a 4 camera 3D version. http://www.cnet.com/news/the-future-of-smartphones-is-in-dual-cameras/ " Corephotonics' tech relies on two cameras, one fixed-focus telephoto with a narrow field of view and a more normal wide-angle camera, and combining the images together with algorithms for a better picture. Corephotonics calls this combination a "computational camera", and claims it offers resolution gains, noise reduction in low light, increased dynamic range and depth analysis. The LG G5 has Dual Cameras allowing up to a 135 degree panoramic picture. It also has a module that slides in place offering a longer battery life and conveniently placed shutter button. It will also have a 360 cam, 360 VR and High end audio module. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSC0u9T8ZL0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vithqn0ZVc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09m7DVSyU9s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbx7-ZZxbNE
