playing in SBS without the emitter?
Hi guys, I sold my emitter and glasses after my 3d ready monitor broke but now I got me an iphone 6s plus and I'm hoping to use it as a HMD for SBS 3D gaming. So far I managed to get a game displaying in SBS via the Discovery analglyph option although Im not sure if its actually 3d (dont have the VR headmount for my phone yet so cant test). Anyway the actual problem is that the screen is blue due to me being in analglyph mode. perhaps there is some way to fix this and display in normal colour without an emitter?

If the game has a Helix fix made with 3D Migoto, you can enable the side-by-side mode, no emitter required.

@Afex90 Are you absolutely sure you're outputting a SBS image? If so point me in the direction of how it's done... I was able to remove the color BUT I'm still only getting a 'single' 3D image on both my 3D Monitor and my 3D TV when using Discover, no SBS whatsoever, not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not as I'm only going by bits of info I've seen in a few posts here and there lately... Edit: DX11 + 3DMigoto + Discover = SBS/TAB

Edit: DX11 + 3DMigoto + Discover = SBS/TAB
Well tbh I doubt this will help you because It was super basic. The game in question was Dark Souls 3, I copied the Helix fix into the directory and edited the d3dx ini following these instructions from helix mod: Enabling Different Video OUTPUT modes: ================================== - In "d3dx.ini" file, find this line: ";run = CustomShader3DVision2SBS" and change it to: "run = CustomShader3DVision2SBS" - Use the "F11" key to toggle between modes! (in 3D Surround the above option should be OFF or it will "murder" your FPS). I had Discover 3d enabled, went in game, hit ctrl+T, hit F11 and the game displayed in SBS, albeit blue (as I mentioned already it may have just been the same image twice) Im not sure what your edit means... did you fix the problem? were you running DX10 or something? or you weren't using the helix fix?
