Hello, I have a problem with the trial of 3dtv play.
I activated the stereoscopic option, tests are running well, the trial is well installed since it told me I only hVe 13 days left (I installed it yesterday), however in the nvidia control panel says that my computer is still in 3d blu ray mode and I have no access to 3dtv play options such as depth or laser beam, also I can't get 3d in games.
Any idea?
By chance could you give us more details?
Like your Operating System, GPU and Display model?
Key words.......................
Operating System
GPU model
At least we now know the display model, but the searches come back in some kinda Asian. So I'll just assume that it's a 3D TV and not 2D.
Hi,
yes I am working in Shanghai and I bought the TV here, this is a led 3d TV a 6400 series the same model in usa is a 75", 60 in china.... Actually a first interesting thing is that creating my own driver with Monitor Info allows me to get Crysis 3 Option activated but not 3dtv play.
Also the software is well installed because if I install 120hz edid, 3dvision which is just the same software can be activated, sadly my TV is not a 120hz so except seeing it can in someway being activated it was useless.
However I don"t think anymore this is an edid issue.
In fact I can run the test program from the control panel, so 3d is working, just whatever I do I stay in 3dblu ray mode, mo way to activate the trial even if it no says that I only have 12 days left.
I feel that the time I find a solution the trial will have expired ;)
My os is win 7 64
I have 2 GTX680.
Sorry I forgot to say it because I think two are not the reason for the problem.

The reason I asked is because Vista is no longer supported and only works with older drivers depending on how new of a GPU you have. This is most often the problem, so thanks for answering, because now we can rule that out.
3DTV Play only works via a HDMI connection, so if you are using a VGA connection to the TV change it. Also make sure that the TV does not require you to use a "specific" HDMI port and that it does not require you to rename the HDMI port.
Starting several drivers ago Nvidia implemented auto-detection for 3D HDTVs and is supposed to prevent this kind of problem. Unfortunately, this is not always the case and some TVs must be added using the old method of the User submitting the EDID to Nvidia.

Hello. I'm about to purchase a JVC X55, the newest model of JVCs 3D Projector line. I see support listed on the "3DTV System Requirements" page for the X30, X70, and X90. Today's line-up from the JVC Procision Series now includes the DLA-X55R. Is this Projector presently supported? Thank you for your help!
Hi,
We changed our software algorithm in our current drivers(313.96 or newer) so it should detect most 3D compatible TVs, receivers,HMDs, and projectors in the market. However in case it doesn't, you may want to report it to our engineering team. Here's an article regarding this.

try Samsung 40" EDTV UN40D6420UFXZA from http://3dvision-blog.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2025&start=20
Keep in mind that your TV only accepts a 60Hz input so you can not use a monitor EDID. Be sure to submit your EDID and revert back to it once it is added.

Thank you for helping, I already submitted my edid, and they said it shouldn't be a problem and that edid changes shouldn't be needed anymore since 313.96... I tried anyway the one you pointed on, sadly this is not working.
What is strange is that the 3d test from the control panel is working, just I stay in blueray3d... This is why I now think this is a software problem with the activation or the trial version.

already made it, once as you said, once removing the drivers through the windows uninstall function before reinstalling... not working...
How could the 3d test working perfectly (the nvidia 3d turning logo) and 3dtv play to be incompatible with my TV?
I really don"t get it...
yes, the lenovo Y500 which also support sli and is affordable, however anyone planing to purchase one should take care, there are two models with the same name, one with a full HD good screen, one with a shitty low rez screen (not only shity because of the rez but quality is the worst I ever saw).
Does this post mean you are using a laptop?

Not for playing, this is my working laptop (I work in gaming industry so gaming laptop are perfect for work), the problem I talk about in this tread is with my gaming rig, a desktop rig.
However it gives me the idea to try with my laptop, since the hdmi output is directly on the geforce at least I will know if the problem is with the TV or the computer...

Ok, so exactly the same issue with my laptop, everything seams to be good, tests are working however I stay in 3d bluray mode. I could think my TV is just not compatible with 3D gaming, however my PS3 is working on it, and the test app from nvidia too. It starts to be pretty frustrating.

It's unfortunate that it is not working. I know there was one driver where it was specifically stated in the "official" feedback thread not to use it. But that was several drivers ago. You might look up the feedback thread for the driver you are using and see if ManuelG mentions anything on the first page about a known bug if there is one.
