I'm a software developer for a company that does post-production work including 3D Blu-ray compression and authoring. We have our own compression tool running under Linux. We are in the middle of a hardware platform switch. I have a Dell R910 server (32 CPUs, $40k box) with two Quadro NVS 295s in it. My player application cannot get a stereo-capable X screen, because the Nvidia driver has disabled stereo:

This is extremely bad. I need stereo output on this video card. Why is the driver disabling stereo on my QUADRO card?
If stereo is not supported on the NVS line, then please tell me which PCIe x16 Nvidia card I can use to get stereo output with less than or equal to 25 watt power consumption on the bus. The Dell R910 will not power up any card which uses more than 25W.
