World of Warcraft FPS unstable with 3D vision
Still waiting to hear from anyone at Nvidia about WoW and 3D Vision. I have an Intel Core i7-X980 3.3GHz, 6 gigs of ram and am using a geforce gtx 680 and my framerates are all over the place. In goldshire my framerate goes from 100 plus to low 30's just panning the camera around. I have to believe this game is a bit bugged seeing that i can play The Witcher 2 silky smooth with 3D enabled. Any word on this would be much appreciated as i am getting quite frustrated with WoW's performance. It was the game that made me purchase 3D in the first place.

I know its probably not the issue but did you look at usage? cpu/gpu

On my 580 I also get terrible FPS in WoW in the same area, I'm not sure how to check my GPU usage though, so if someone can drop me a hint I'll check it out.

I use evga precision. And click in options show gpu usage.

I should add that playing the game non-3D is perfectly smooth, my framerate never changes which is why i believe/hope its just a drivers/optimization situation.

I also just noticed that i cannot set the refresh rate in game higher than 100, if i set 120 or 110 it just resets back to 100. very very odd. something seems amiss. Would be really awesome if someone from Nvidia could shine a little light on this matter.

Do you have the 3d crosshairs enabled but not active in the Nvidia control panel? That can cause all sorts of weirdness i find and i always disable it after every driver update.

I just ran the EVGA proggy and my GPU usage is about 95% or higher, and it makes no difference if I have the 3d crosshair enabled or dissabled in the nvidia control pannel. Lowering AA in game from 8x to 1x gave me about a 10FPS increase, so I get about 40 FPS in Goldshire now.
