I've been trying to set up my Alienware AW2310 monitor with the Nvidia 3D Vision kit. All goes well till I try to get the IR Emmiter hooked to the VESA 3 pin stereo on the monitor. I can not find a VESA 3 pin recepticle on the monitor.
I've looked all over the monitor, but was unable to find anything, anywhere that would take the VESA 3 pin plug.
Anyone out there have a solution??
BTW, I now have a EVGA GTX 480, one Alienware AW2310 and one Sceptre 23" widescreen monitor

You don't need to use the vesa plug.
Run the 3D setup and it should pick up your monitor I'm pretty sure the alienware are Nvidia 3d Vision ready, make sure you use the dual link DVI cable supplied with your monitor.

Hey, thanks to both of you for your replies ! I swapped out the HDMI cable for the DVI cable and from then on setup went very smoothly. This is the first time that I've seen 3D this good. The last time I saw 3D was when I was a kid at the movies. This is Soooooo much better.
Thanks again for your help!!!
