The DEMOS they use just are specially made to throw itens at your face, if you had that same demo on your computer the result should be the same items getting out of the screen, if you don't see that something is wrong with your setup, just watch that nvidia demo with nvidia logo moving around, that is an example of 3D coming out of the screen... what i said before is that the 3D iSNT just about coming out of the screen, but it is abouth overall depth x,y,z just like humans eye work...

yes in that demo the logo is right in front of me im reaching and touching it, that was my opening question, i dont see that anywhere. Bought resident evil afterlife 3d and i didnt get noticeable pop out but the depth was totally there.

When you adjust the convergence it is changing how the two images are displayed for your left and right eye. It will either move them further apart or closer together depending on if you are increasing or decreasing the convergence. In some cases increasing the convergence beyond a certain point will cause the images to split, but I usually just back off the convergence so it doesn't split anything on the screen. I have yet to see a game that didn't pop out of the screen with a convergence adjustment.

Seems like the more the convergence is cranked up the harder it is on my eyes, so I try and get a good level of pop-out but not so much that it makes my eyes tired.

Have a look at this article http://www.mtbs3d.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6197&Itemid=98

It might help you understand exactly how convergence settings effect popout.

I haven't used the you-tube 3D in awhile. I'm pretty sure the info in this blog is still the correct way to set it up.
