Hey everyone. I know there are plugins for firefox to view certain pages (youtube, coolaris) in 3d. Wondering if there is ANY way to convert my desktop environment into 3d. Wouldnt that be awesome to have all your icons pop off your desktop, opening windows that pop out, ect. It doesnt seem like it would be that difficult as they can do it in games which are much more complex and detailed....

There was a windows desktop rendered in 3D called Bumptop. I was able to run it in stereo. But it's no longer available because google acquired it. Fear google taking over the world... :P

Real Desktop works, you must uncheck "hide stereoscopic 3d effects when game starts" in nvidia CP and turn bloom off in real desktop settings. It's freeware http://www.real-desktop.de/

I installed Real Desktop Standard but 3D Vision will not turn on. nvidia 270.61 drivers are installed.
No requirements here to have 3D glasses.

Appears to be a directx9 program. Seems to run in a borderless window on the desktop.

I changed the file name. The glasses turn on but I dont see any 3D rendering. The 3D desktop looks the same, with and without glasses.
"Hide stereoscopic 3D effects when game starts" is unchecked.
I walked away from my computer. Came back after some minutes and it works now. With and without bloom. Background is still blue. Will try other colors too. currently using AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe
directx drivers are updated to latest from microsoft.
Amazing! A real 3D desktop. Let's see what this thing can do.
Edit1: Major ghosting. Brown leather looks nice.
Edit2: Found solution for ghosting. Atmosphere = user defined. and move all sliders to the right.
Or turn down brightness.

Looks like this setting has been removed from the current version so i've submitted it on their suggestions page hoping users will vote it up the list.
Please vote and i'll ask "Meant to be seen" forum members also for their help.

Should be possible to enable 3D vision but how?

"Select when the display is in 3D mode" = Always
I am downloading "real park" and will try that.
