Don't worry man, even my two Titans can hit about 40fps on MLL when I enable SSAAx2. Without it, I get straight 60fps (in 3D). And I find the visual difference almost negligible, since Metro's AAA already works really well, and stereoscopic 3D softens the edges even further.
The stuttering I get is another issue though.

I've just installed the new driver 320.18 WHQL and it's not doing any good for Metro Last Light.
I'm so disapointed this game doesn't work well with 3D Vision, especially since the first Metro game works flawlesly in 3D and has more options to tweak ingame :(
How do I correct this? anyone getting the shadow issue?
The main issue I see is the shadows only visible in one eye, other than that 3D perfomance is quite decent in a GTX 690 at 1080p as long as I don't turn AA on. If I set to AA2x I get 25fps. What da fuck????? I thought Crysis 3 was very demanding game? Ops, Crysis 3 has no real 3D, forgot about that...

User.cfg only has stereo seperation base and stereo seperation zoom, both are set to 0. I changed to 1 but still locked.
On a side note, when he wipes his mask it looks incredible ;)
I just discovered that when you're holding a lighter, there's a totally different animation for it where he wipes it with the back of his hand. I love that a small studio like 4A puts effort into details like these.
I've now finished the game, and have started the DLC. Visually and atmospherically, it's breathtaking.
I'm very disappointed about the stealth AI though. I thought the stealth in 2033 was among the best I'd ever played. Many didn't like it and thought it was unfair, though I thought it was pretty much spot on. In Last Light though, it's ludicrous. As long as you're in the shadows, you can breakdance right underneath a guy's nose and he won't notice you.
They've dealt with the Ranger mode pretty cheaply too, by removing certain bits of the UI which they shouldn't have removed. But overall, I find it a stunning, very accomplished game that gets a B+ in 3D. Along with Crysis 3, it's easily the most technically impressive game I've seen.
The DLC seems pretty cool so far. I'm doing the Library one, which is basically a survival/treasurehunt sort of a deal. Kind of feels like I'm doing a questline in Fallout 3, but with 10x better graphics.

Volnaiskra - can you please tell me something more about the DLCs you got. Are they story focused or some kind of missions/trials like first dlc for Bioshock Infinite ?

Some info on the DLC's: http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/09/13/metro-last-lights-developer-pack-dlc-detailed-arriving-next-week/
Some of them are story focused, although you're playing a different character than in the main game, but some of the stories in the DLC's add to the games main story (like you're playing a character you met during the main story and you'll also meet some characters that you met before). Some missions are more like "tower defense" levels where you have to hold a certain spot for a certain amount of time and in some you have to go around and find some artifacts in order to finish the mission.
Does it still scale with only 2 cards or did Nvidia/4A games release a patch to fix it ?
As far as we know 3D Vision only takes advantage of two cards so there will be no fix from developers.
I've only tried the Library DLC so far, so I can't comment on the others. But I think you'll probably like the DLC, guybrush, as long as you're not expecting another long and involved story. They're bite-sized and varied, and quite separate from each other.
The Library one is good. You have a single base from which you scout the surface, starting off with very limited resources, looking for a large number of artifacts. It's a really appropriate style of play for the Metro universe, as it's tense and all about survival, and you really feel the weight of the post-apocalyptic setting.

Metro 2033 scales in 3-way excellently though (eg. http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_Titan_SLI/16.html), so I imagine that MLL has the potential to do so as well.

I'm trying to play MLL Redux with 3D vision but have a texture pop-in problem. When I enable 3D Vision some textures disappear and become visible when getting close. For example lamps, NPC hats, some boxes, chairs, posters... I feel like playing an Xbox 360 game or Rage. :)
When I disable 3D Vision everything is fine, no pop-in or any other problems.
Is there way to fix this issue or is this specific to my system?
I turned off tesselation, advanced physx, SSAA and tried multiple combinations but no change.
I have the steam version and my specs:
GTX 980, core i7 2700K, 8 GB RAM, Win 7 64bit, Driver 344.75 (Also tried 344.80 nothing changed)

It's not specific to your game, and it absolutely blows. :(
Happens for me and a few others in Metro 2033 Redux as well, which uses same engine as Metro LL Redux. Don't have the issue in vanilla LL.
