enb shaders seems to be conflicting with 3d since they both use a d9d3.dll, changing the name and pointing to it from dx9settings.ini has not worked, as well as using the enb/ems injection method, for me anyway,
has anyone gotten enb shaders to work with 3d in fallout NV?

Should work. I dont recall a game that hasnt.
Make a copy of dx9settings.ini and put 1/2 levels up.
--------------------------
Alternate instructions
If that doesnt work delete d3d9.dll
remove the proxylib line from dx9settings.ini
add this line after [general]
DefModuleName=game.exe
change game.exe to whatever game's exe is [probably falloutnv.exe]
download this file https://s3.amazonaws.com/-HeliX-/DllsModPack.zip
open it and go to folder dllsinjection/release/
drag helixmodlauncher.exe + helixmod.dll to same folder as exe
reinstall enb
launch helixmodlauncher and LEAVE IT OPEN. Launch game.
probably will work.
Make sure you read instructions on helixmod page to use patch correctly. Its not complicated but it has special instructions.

proxylib = path to the ENB d3d9.dll
does using the helixmod injector not require the helixmod d3d9.dll ?
i haven't been able to get this working, i seem to have tried all these combinations
have either of you successfully enabled both 3d and ENB in fallout NV?
I've never had the injector work with sweetFX.
Can you paste in the exact line you've used? As suggested, try putting a copy of dx9settings.ini a directory higher, and maybe another above that. That's worked for me before.

proxylib = E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\res.dll
i stopped using this anyway since the injector method was working (without 3d)
there's no problem getting 3d/helix mod to work, it's just that ENB does not activate in 3d mode
by a directory "higher" do you mean within the folder that fallout NV resides in? (..steam apps\common) or the other direction? (falloutNV\data..)
Hm. I don't have the game, but looking it up shows the exe is in the fallout new vegas folder. I was thinking it might be in a bin or win32 directory, in which case sometimes putting a copy higher up (which in this case would be in common) can help. I don't think it'll work here.
Are you sure the proxylib line isn't commented out with // ? I've accidentally done that before.
eqzitara's suggestion regarding the injector is also worth a try, though it's never worked for me.
