I noticed that the Convergence Unlocker showcased in this thread is not working anymore with recent NVIDIA Drivers...
Any chance the fix will be updated ?
Well I tried it with "Inversion" but it wouldn't surprise me if all titles in this thread are affected.
NVIDIA TITAN X (Pascal), Intel Core i7-6900K, Win 10 Pro,
ASUS ROG Rampage V Edition 10, G.Skill RipJaws V 4x 8GB DDR4-3200 CL14-14-14-34,
ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q, ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q, Acer Predator XB280HK, BenQ W710ST
it still works.
Well it certainly doesn't for me...
I am testing with "Inversion" on Win7 Ultimate x64, 770 GTX with Driver version 334.89.
How are you testing ?
I really hate to ask but did you reenable 'advanced in-game settings' in the control panel after the driver install? :)
http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2943/related/1
If so, I'll see if I can try it out later ... pretty sure I still have Inversion installed.

Yes advanced ingame settings are enabled... also if you take a look at the more recent comments in this thread eqzitara actually states:
"O yea, sorry. I actually just read about this the other day. It needs an older driver. Nvidia's latest driver that came out [for batman arkham origins] broke this feature. I haven't had time to look into it."
So if it really still works for some people with the latest drivers, I wonder what their setup is...

I got six little friends and they all run faster than you ;)
Ahh, ok ... it wouldn't be the first time that happened to someone though. :)
... wait, did I just offer to install the latest drivers for you!? Eek! Lol
edit: first driver install ... no stereoscopic 3D settings
second driver install, clean, stereoscopic 3D ok ... custom nvapi.dll/convegence not working at all in Inversion.
No, sorry Chiri's unlocker is broken on recent drivers. I debugged this, and the problem is that NVidia makes the needed nvapi.dll load ONLY from the system directory now, and the override DLL no longer gets loaded.

I looked at it, and I don't think the original unlocker can be fixed directly.
Try 3Dmigoto to give you the unlocking. It's the same code as the original unlocker, just with the 3Dmigoto loader, which will work even though nvapi went elsewhere.
This should work. You wouldn't use the other parts of 3Dmigoto except the unlocking.
Use the AC3 version, but skip the ShaderFixes folder.

It crashes, I unzipped everything but the Shader folder ... a bit off topic but you can add Del Uninstall.bat as the very last line of the Uninstall.bat and it'll delete itself. :)

OK, thanks for giving that a try. I surprised it crashes, it's been solid in other games.
Please try removing the dxgi.dll file. That would not be necessary for the unlocking.
Still crashes, not sure if it's helpful or not but I enabled logging. Here's the last few lines of the log & link to the full log.

Great! Thank you for the log, it's definitely not happy there. Sorry for the red herring, I really expected it to work here.
Your resolution comes in as some particularly odd number:
FullscreenDisplayWidth = 1804
FullscreenDisplayHeight = 1014
FullscreenRefreshRate = 0
I'm not sure why that would happen, but might be related.
When I get a chance I will debug why the unlocking does not work, it'd be nice to be able to use 3dmigoto for this purpose.
On a related, but different tack, Mike_ar69 made a prototype nvapi.dll unlocker too, that runs as part of 3Dmigoto partial install for Lego Superheroes.
His setup works there to unlock a locked convergence, and is possibly worth a try:

Heh. That's my custom resolution(not sure about the refresh rate though ... it's 60/120), to compensated for the overscan on my DLP HDTV ... I just tried 1920x1080 & 1280x720 for the heck of it, no go still crashes.
mike_ar69's doesn't crash but doesn't work either ... can I roll back drivers yet? Lol. :)
This is one of the reason's I shy way from upgrading my video card, eventually the better cards will only run with the latest drivers ... and they've been an f'n mess lately.
