Im really having trouble deciding which is the better option. I have compared both and they both have pros and cons.
Help me decide please based on this list of pros and cons:
(and remember...graphics quality is very important to me)
3D TV: 46inch Samsung 3D TV
Pros: Bigger screen, 7.1 surround sound system, because of the lower resolution I am able to turn AA way up with high frame rate, can sit on my couch, like the samsung glasses better than Nvidias.
Cons: 1280x 720 resolution (much, much lower than my monitor)
ACER 23" 3D Monitor
Pros: 1920 x 1080 resolution, can sit closer to the screen (see more detail), easier to use keyboard and mouse at my desk
Cons: Smaller screen, cant use AA (1920 plus AA makes FPS dip way too much), have to use nvidia glasses, no surround sound.)
Now i know the list of pros is bigger for the TV but i guess the real question is will the severly reduced resolution (with higher AA) affect the graphic quality enough to not make it worth it??
Does using higher AA with a lower res compensate for losing so much resolution or will the textures ect still suffer alot.
I know this is alot to take in but I could really use some feedback.

Id say go with the Acer monitor. 1080P is going to look better than 720P any day, all day. Also looking at a 23" screen from 2 feet is probably going to look bigger than a 46" HDTV at 6 feet. I know because I used to game in my living room with a 32" screen and I think a 22" on my desk looks bigger. In terms of AA, its pretty much a wash. In 3D you don't really need AA as much because you are merging 2 views together into one, so you kind of get AA for free. I never use AA at all, and it looks fine to me. I'd much rather have the better performance rather than a slightly softer image. Although if you plan on watching a lot of Blu-Ray 3D and want to have people over, then maybe the Samsung is a better choice. But for straight gaming, I'd say get the monitor.
