OK I have a 3D Vision kit and I installed it to hook up to a Mitsubishi 65-737 TV. My computer has a 8800 GTS 320MB card in it, Windows 7 x64, and plenty of cpu power and memory with more than enough hard drive space. I installed everything from the CD exactly how the instructions say to. I ran through the setup on my TV and was able to see the 3d box thing and the left/right eye test fine. I then had had problems with the video player giving me a blue screen - thinking it was because of windows 7 I downloaded updated drivers from the NVIDIA website. I reran through the installation process and did the initial setup again. I saw the demo pictures in 3D. The only thing I did differently from the install was use my HDMI - DVI cable instead of the supplied one, but I hardly thought that would make a difference. I've tried playing 3 games in 3D and all of them look horrible! The first was Counter Strike: Source. instead of 3D it seems like horizontal lines left and right are coming from everything, and yes I hit CTRL + T to enable 3D. I also tried Section 8, which looked bad, and also Wolfenstein. That was horrible too.

You said you "saw the demo pictures", did you see them in S3D and their quality were acceptable? If they aren't looking right in S3D then perhaps it's the cable: the included cable is a dual link DVI - HDMI and is necessary for S3D.

I did see them in S3D, the fuzzy box inside a box one, and also the left/right triangle square eye test as well. Afterward it ran through screenshots of various games, all of which were in 3D and did look fine. If only I could get that quality from games I actually play. Thanks!

Did you check to see the resolution for those games are the one that's supported by the Mits in S3D? Not all resolutions will work in S3D. Test them out using the Nvidia logo test in a particular resolution to make sure it works before using that resolution in game using the "Test stereoscopic 3D" button in the "setup stereoscopic 3D" page within the Nvidia control panel. The TV manual should also specify the resolution it supports in S3D.

Wow do I feel like a idiot! The problem was the resolution. Thanks a million! I do have 2 more questions.
1. With counter strike source the 3d lasersight won't display is there a way to make it display - even with ctrl f12
2. Do you know of any decent movies in 3d? I know Journey to the Center of the Earth was a decent one, what about others? I know there are alot from the 80's that just look like they would be horrible..

You're welcome.
Sorry I don't have Counter Strike and don't watch any 3D movies (at home) yet so can't help you there. I'm pretty sure a lot of folks here love FPS games and home 3D movies can help you out.

has some good 3D beside being a well acted movie.
The resolution is like 720*400 and the movie has a lot of nightshots, but at least it is not animated or for kids.
Please tell me how to figure this out!
