Hello, is the Nvidia 3D vision will work on Samsung S27A750D monitor?
[/quote]
Short answer is no as Nvidia are money hungry. They require us to fork out top $$ on GFX cards only to require us to buy 3D vision kit and select a monitor whose manufacturer pays "royalties" to Nvidia.
There are hacks and work-arounds using older drivers.
My advice if you have this monitor is stick with Tridef and get an ATI card for your next purchase.

Tridef sucks and ATI 3D can't be compared to 3D Vision. 3D Vision is much much better than any other 3D solution.....
I have a S27A950D and I've tried Tridef and was very disappointed, so I'm sticking with 3D Vision which is far better.
Don't buy 3d today! Support and compability sucks. Let the companies loosen their bonds a little or drop the thing. We had way better support in the past. /w00twave.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':w00twave:' />

Agree 100% that 3D Vision is better than tridef. I am just extremely disappointed with NVIDIA over this. I have the GTX590 which cost me over AU$900 when I purchased it. I've been an Nvidia supporter for years now Geforce 4- 8800 Ultimate - GTX480 etc etc etc. Even my case is an Nvidia branded cool master!! Nvidia fanboy!! I like the top-end components for my PC which is why I bought a Samsung monitor. They are the leaders in LED and 3D TV technology.
When I bought home my 3D capable display I did not expect the drama that i've been forced into due to Nvidia's business plan to have users pay extra for 3D. There is no need for us to buy 3D vision usb or certified 3D vision monitors. My monitor works with my card without any of this rubbish but only due to helpful people on the internet with the know-how to make hacks.
It's something I'd expect from a company like Apple, not a PC component brand.
This will certainly weigh heavily on my decision making for my next upgrade...

I truly understand you.... But Nvidia among many other companies are after the big profit, they're money hungries.... If you don't pay their royalties, no 3D Vision license for you. But you're not in the Apple world where everything costs a lot and it's closed world. I love Apple and have many of their products, they are one the best companies n the world, but you don't want to mess with workarounds in the Apple world, cause it's a lot of a hassle...
In the other hand the PC world is completely different and eveything is possible with the right workaround, so forget about Nvidia royalties policy and just be happy with available hacks which are capable of making the new Samsung LED 3D monitors perfectly capable of running 3D Vision without a single issue and using the latest drivers.
Just make sure to never post any hacks in this forum, never!!!! Let's at least respect Nvidia policy on this matter. This is their forum though....
We have freedom of speech and we can talk about the subject here and how pissed we are with Nvidia about their products policy in here, but no hack instructions or files posted here please.... Let's respect the forum rules...
I just think Nvidia should get better partners for their 3D Vision Ready monitors and some glossy screens BTW, cause the new Asus monitor 3D Vision Ready AG278H is by far inferior in all ways compared to the S27A950D. Just put them one next to the other and let your eyes be the judge of it. Samsung definatelly makes the best monitors out there, no comparision, it's a pitty their not in the business with Nvidia...

Pretty much sums it up.
I'd be willing to pay for something like TV Play if it would support my monitor. I just don't get why Nvidia are doing the royalty deals with monitor brands. It stinks of anti competition with shady business deals.

I agree to,ive been buying nvidia cards for along time now since the tnt2 lol,but i have a samsung sa950 and its a sexy beast and im not gonna swap it for nothing.
Theres probs tons of peeps like me that would be buying 3d vision right now if we could use any 3d monitor,as far as im concerned nvidia are losing alot of sales like this,i have no prbs with tridef it works fine for me and im not gonna have nvidia tell me what monitor i can or cant use.
As the phrase goes cutting off youre nose to spite youre face,or in this case cutting youre sales and spiteing youre customers.

But it is comfirmed to work perfectly with an AMD card.
