Hi there,
I have some trouble getting 3d to work in games.
I recently bought a new PC, and i found out that it has 3d drivers. Which i thought is cool because i have a Sony PS3 3D display. Which i use as my monitor.
I Enabled the 3d using the: Enable Stereoscopic 3D. Then i ran the test where you see the Nvidia logo and name coming towards you etc. Which worked great. So i thought lets try it in-game! But when i left the test, the glasses turned off again. (and im sure theyre charged and they work).
So i thought maybe in-game it will turn on again. But it didn't.. So i was looking around on the internet a bit and tryed some things they suggested. But nothing worked so far.
Can someone help me with this please?

PS3 3D display will only work with 3D movies, not games. You will either need to use tridef or roll back to very old drivers, and that only works if you have a 5xx graphics card. Sorry to be bearer of bad news.

Seems like this should work if you use 3D TV Play. The monitor has HDMI in, and it has its own glasses.

Given that it worked with the test app, this seems pretty likely to work. Only at 720p for 60hz, 1080p for 24Hz because of lame-old HDMI, but it should work fine at 720p.
Download the 3D TV Play (2 week trial) and see if that doesn't work for you.

Nvidia has 3DTV Play set up so that it will not work with Displays under a certain size.
There's an official post in a thread somewhere, it might even have been in the long PS3 Display thread.
You can try what this person did.

Here is the inf for a Sony 55" 240Hz LED LCD Model: Sony KDL55HX729.

I am using the above EDID that I recorded (with permission) from a store's Sony TV display model. This EDID is now flashed into a Gafen HDMI Detective Plus so I can now use my unsupported Sony PS3 3d Display with Nvidia 3dtv Play. Everything seems to be working well making this a complete dual purpose 3d LCD. I did want to post to confirm the use of this EDID for the PS3 Display as well as add another to the database. I just wonder if the screen size and other variations listed in the reports have any negative effects.
