Blender and 3D Vision
Hi all,
we're trying to use the Blender game engine with 3D Vision. However, no one of the settings (fullscreen + several format of stereo output) seems to work. I've read that Blender supports opengl quadbuffer, but reading this forum I got confused, as it sounds like 3d Vision is supporting D3D and not opengl 4buffer. Is it true?
Does anybody ever succeeded in using blender GE and 3D vision?
Does anybody has the code of a (very simple but working) opengl application we can use for testing the system?

thank you in advance

by the principles of the 3d vision system. such a modification should be easily made or available through tweaking.
having the game engine alternatingly spit out images from two different cameras 120 times a second is all you need.
although you would have to set up a python script to change the depth of field by changing the angle of the two cameras, the I/O could be worked through
external libs. i don't own this technology but i can help with the other side of the equation. i'll try and make a demo for you.

I've been using my 3d vision glasses a lot, mostly playing left 4 dead 2 (lots of other games too), noticed the 3d models are a little skewed in real 3d, I think a lot of the modelers don't use the real 3d vision glasses and have to draw in fake 3d while spinning the camera....tryin to make a game now, looks like blender won't let me use the 3d glasses to draw. :( Seems like it would be a lot easier with real 3d vision to draw in 3d and line stuff up. Plus it's easier to 'understand' and 'see' the 3d objects with both eyes goin, instead of always feeling like you have your head sideways and one eye closed.
