Nvidia GeForce GT435M 2GB + 3D Vision (stereoscopic) having issues in playing games.
Hi Nvidia customers/staff.

Just yesterday I've bought an All-in-one PC, it's called Acer Aspire Z5763... I've got Nvidia Geforce GT435M 2GB graphics card and 3D vision...

Here's my issue:
My 3D vision and graphic card's driver version is 270. But I need to have at least version 285 to play games like Need For Speed the run.... I went to Nvidia's official website to download drivers...I've downloaded 296 version graphic card driver and I was able to play NFS-The Run but my 3D stopped working it says "3d vision and graphic driver version mismatch"... So to run 3D, I need to have the same driver version of 3D vision and grahic card. The latest version of 3d vision and graphic card I've found is 270, but that doesn't even run NFS-The Run...
I haven't tried games like BF3 or MW3... but I am a bit worried that will they work or not... HELP ME, what should I do?
Sorry for my bad English. I hope you understood me.

edit- I am able to play World of Warcraft Cataclysm on ultra settings with 30 fps and FIFA 12 works perfect with the highest settings.

Oh, I think I know why doesn't 3D work when I install new driver... is because of the way I install my driver, I install 'em manually ( Start>Computer>Properties>Device manager ). The reason why I'm doing this way is because when I am trying to install the driver it says "Nvidia Installer cannot continue. This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware.". I am sure that I am trying to install my graphic card's driver, I used the nvida driver scanner.. and anyways it says the name on my monitor..Nvidia Geforce GT435M. Help me please!

I assume you are installing your graphics driver this way because it's an all in one PC and there are limitations as to what Acer want you to update? You also need to install the USB 3D controller driver the same way then. Find it in Device Manager>Universal Serial Bus Controllers>NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D USB controller. That should hopefully solve your problem.

Hi & Thanks for your advice Richie72...

I used the device manager to find driver for my display adapter automatically... The device manager installed 295.73 version of nvidia.
I tried to do this to NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D USB controller, however it didn't update it. It was saying ' you have the best driver for this device already '. The 3D wasn't working yet.

I then installed 295.73 version to my 3D usb controller manually, there wasn't anything wrong while I was installing it, so I did update it to 295.73. At the moment I have the same driver version for my 3D stereoscopic usb controller and display adapter, but it still says '3D Vision and graphic driver version mismatch.' while I am trying to 'set up 3D Vision'....
So, I am still having the issue.. help...

The driver version for the display and emitter must be the same. When installing drivers, you need to install everything. Because of all the Bells and Whistles on the Acer Z5763, you might need to exclusively update the drivers from Acer. You might go to Device Manager and uninstall the emitter driver and reboot. Then make sure that the driver reinstalled, if not go to detect new hardware and reinstall. Also is your problem with a game? or a movie?

Also you won't be running NFS The Run in Stereo 3D because the game doesn't support it. I suggest you try some other game that's 3D Vision supported (I would first try a 3D Vision Ready title like BF3 just to be sure).
