I have literally installed and uninstalled these drivers and the older release set a few times tonight. While these new drivers do fix the Bad Company 2 load times and increases the performance some, I am not seeing the "huge" increases some people are saying. Most of those people are running strictly 2D anyway and any gains we get in performance get basically halved in 3D. I do see some increase with Metro 2033 but only by a few frames per second at 1920X1080, DX11 and everything but advanced DoF turned on. I am using AAA as opposed to 4xMSAA because the game is too slow still for my likes. My synthetic benchmarks are slightly improved but nothing to write home about.
On the other hand, Just Cause 2 too a pretty big hit in performance for me. For my test section I went from low 30s minimum to mid 20s and the performance was consistant that way through out. I noticed about a 20-25% decrease in performance which I consider substantial. I have even had profiles disappear from the control panel for no apparent reason. The deal breaker for me is the fact that with the new way Nvidia handles game profiles, Nhancer doesn't work. There are still some older games I need that program for, like Witcher, for instance.
I am back to the older 197 drivers for the time being and will wait for a new set of beta drivers and/or the release of Nhancer that works for these.

OK I did the exact same thing as the poster above. However I have the problems I stated earlier. Fallout 3 only starts without a crash with SLI disabled and Metro 2033 will crash on start no matter what. I'm now back on the 1.25 CD drivers. I see most are running 480 cards though, I'm on 2x280 with an extra 8800GT for more screens and PhysX. Perhaps the latter is causing it... CBA to remove it though...

JC2, no such luck. Still runs like crap. At this point I'm thinking that the game just isn't coded properly for multi-gpu set-ups.[/quote]
jc2 runs really good in mine with the new drivers.. i can play it really smooth with 3d on.. now am goin to try that bfbc2 settings.

Alright, my Fallout 3 problem is solved by disabling XD bit in bios. I'm not sure why the driver/fallout3 combo was accessing memory it really shouldn't but it works now. Metro 2033 also works now, perhaps because of the same change, but I can't be certain as I didn't test it right before disabling the XD bit and have made several more changes before that.

Now that the NVidia Control Panel has an option for Cuda, I wanted to fire up Just Cause 2 and turn on the GPU accelerated water. There used to be an option in-game for it but now it's gone. Anyone else having this problem?
