HELP NEEDED: Can't setup 3D vision properly (left and right swapped and no expected 3D effect)
Hello, I tried to install the 3D Vision 2 using the wizard, but so far i couldn't get it to work properly. Here are the specifics: My hardware: i7 4790K (4Ghz) 32GB ram DDR3 512Go SSD Geforce GTX 1070 8GB Screen Acer Predator XB271HU (2560x1440, NVIDIA G-SYNC, IPS Display, Display Port & HDMI Port, 144Hz) Drivers: 382.53 My IR emitter is connected to the PC via the USB cable, and my GPU is connected to my monitor via Display Port. I don't use a Dual Link DVI cable and my monitor doesn't have a plug for the Vesa 3 pin thingy. My glasses are fully charged, and my IR emitter glows a steady green light. According to what i found on internet, it should work properly. My GPU is powerful enough. My display, even though not "3D ready" has a 144Hz refresh rate. However, when i enable Stereoscopic 3D in the Nvidia control panel, and when i run the setup, i have several issues: 1- when i get to the point where i must choose the blue triangle and the green hexagon, they are always inverted. If, i select what i see on the screen: hexagon-left and triangle-right, i always fail my 3D setup. I have to put the glasses upside down in order to have the triangle on the left eye and the hexagon on the right eye. Even then, i don't get a proper expected 3D effect. 2- Also, even if i put the glasses upside down, i can still see 2 distinct images on my screen (tried with Alien Isolation which has a rating of "Excellent" with Nvidia 3D). There is no real 3D effect, only those 2 images that i can tweak with the IR imitter. I also tried with the "Medical image test" in the stereoscopic 3D options, and there too i get 2 distinct images as well. Putting the glasses correctly or upside down doesn't change a thing. I tried playing with the refresh rate: i lowered it from 144 to 120, but it didn't do a thing. At this point and after many tries and several hours of searching the internet, i really don't know what to do. Any help would be really really greatly appreciated! Thanks~
Hello,
I tried to install the 3D Vision 2 using the wizard, but so far i couldn't get it to work properly.
Here are the specifics:

My hardware:
i7 4790K (4Ghz)
32GB ram DDR3
512Go SSD
Geforce GTX 1070 8GB
Screen Acer Predator XB271HU (2560x1440, NVIDIA G-SYNC, IPS Display, Display Port & HDMI Port, 144Hz)
Drivers: 382.53
My IR emitter is connected to the PC via the USB cable, and my GPU is connected to my monitor via Display Port.

However, when i enable Stereoscopic 3D in the Nvidia control panel, and when i run the setup, i have several issues:
1- when i get to the point where i must choose the blue triangle and the green hexagon, they are always inverted.

Thanks~
