Recently bought 3D vision 2 and it works for almost every game that i have, GTA 5, Tomb Raider, Batman... But Not for War thunder, it just simply not active for War thunder, I have "Enable steroscopic 3D" ticked in Nvidia control panel, went through every options in WT Graphic advanced settings, used 3d vision hotkeys to toggle around, still no luck.
Can anyone help me with this? Thanks

What renderer are you using in the configuration?
I know the game is built on Dagor Engine which supports OpenGL, DX9 and DX11 on Windows.
I bet you are starting the game on OpenGL. There is no 3D Vision Automatic for OpenGL.
Try setting the renderer to DX9 or DX11:)

I tried both fullscreen/fullwindow, no luck.

From what i can see in Render options in advanced setting from launcher, there are only two options: openGL(test) and auto and I think i have had it on auto all the way. How do i set the renderer to DirectX? I dont seem to find any in both launcher and in-game graphic options.

Thanks for the info, I will try it out tonight after work.
Find your aces.exe file and set it to run in compatibility mode for Vista SP1 that will ensure you are running in DX9ex which is the best for War Thunder 3D.

Thanks Flowbee, I have tried it, looks like it required a bit more work edit in blk file in order to get WT running in 3D, appreciated for your time, cheers

There are a few threads on this game, have a look at this thread to help you find them.

That link to the War Thunder forum returns an error for me as well. My guess would be that it told you how to force the game to run in dx9 maybe?
I find no threads since 2014.

So, what does that mean? Is the HELIX MOD working for everyone except me?
https://helixmod.blogspot.de/2015/05/war-thunder-tank-only.html
Or is it working for no one?
Can some one please check if WAR THUNDER is (still) working with the HELIX MOD?
Thanks a lot !
