I picked up this display over Christmas as well and bought a new 660 and was planning on adding a second. Will gladly pay for TV Play provided it will work but don't see me shelling out the money for the software. I am willing to prepay if I knew support is up and coming even if you tell me it's months away. But unless there is a EDID that works for now or something from nvidia saying it's coming then I will have to stick with the TriDef for now. With TriDef side by side I can output on 1080p but it's not the best solution.
NVIDIA YOU CAN TAKE MORE OF MY MONEY! Ge it working or give us some sort of we are working on it.

So, I went and bought a new receiver, because I needed one and the PS TV still doesn't work with 3DTV Play. I got the Panasonic RX-V571, and guess what? It still recognizes the monitor, not the receiver. Even with my Sony Bravia TV. So that's a no-go and a colossal disappointment.

Still no solution for this? This is a great 3D set if you put a case fan on the back. I had the flashing black screen but have not seen it since installing the fan, which took 8 minutes and 7 dollars. Hopefully a 3D vision fix can be found. Someone with the know how, please help us out. I have a 680 so I must use 3xx drivers.

If anyone knows steps to solve this, I've tried working with a patient, knowledgeable guy on AVSforum named Tulli. He has created many EDID override infs. I really don't know too much what I'm doing. If someone else does, maybe you could work with him to find a solution. He is at http://www.avsforum.com/t/1091403/edid-override-thread/2430. You can see our exchange there.
I've finally given in. I have successfully switched to AMD and could not be happier.
I'm thinking of doing the same unfortunately :-/ I'm sure I could sell my 680 and get a 7970 with the cash.

Batman AA: Cobwebs and sheets that dance in the wind.
Just Cause: The most beautiful waves ive ever seen in a game.
Borderlands 2: Tons o crazy particle effects.
etc...

Hahaha, I'm sure I'll really miss those 5 games that actually use Physx. The bigger issue is I do have a Samsung that works with 3D vision and I like the ability to jump back and forth between 3D vision and tridef. I just can't get frame packed 3D to work on the PS3 Display using either because Nvidia blocked the .inf that had worked in the past and Tridef only does frame packed with ATI cards.

my Sony 3Ddisplay used to work with older drivers. I don't get why they would remove support for it. Unless they want to force people to buy only their partners brands. I hope that isn't the case, but if it is ill never buy Nvidia again.

I send them a message about days ago (less than a week) telling about it does work with older drivers but not with the most new drivers, and supposedly, they're gonna fix it.
Hello,
Thank you for your reply and link.
We will try our best to check its compatibility with new drivers and GPU's.

NVIDIA Customer Care
Would be wonderful if they fix it.

There used to be a hack that worked for this. It no longer works.
Nvidia could add it to their list, but they won't. I think they've abandoned support for 3dTV Play (even though they're still selling licenses).

Well, I bet it will until Nvidia sees this.
