I gotta ask.
Do you know how to make the Descent series work in a similar fashion under Win 7 ?

Oh crap, I hope you guys don't think I did any work on the link I gave in the first post, there - I didn't, was just whoring that guys new renderer

Descent wasn't 3d accellerated, so someone would have to completely re-write the whole engine from scratch in order for us to use 3d. Could happen - it's happened hundreds of times with Doom - but I don't know anything about it. Same deal with descent 2. Descent 3 should be good to go, though.

WRONG!! There were patches to accelerate Descent I&II on Glide, there is an Descent II OGL Port and Descent 3 was Direct X by nature.
HOWEVER, Descent series NEVER was based on the Unreal engine. So, if you just endeavour to read the first couple of lines it will become quite evident that it simply cannot work....

With the DX10 renderer for UT99 I can't get the game to actually render in 3D. It will enable stereomode and glasses will turn on but the game remains 2D. I also have the DX9 renderer but for some reason it no longer works properly, it keeps changing the resolution forever.
