Has anyone other than me tried 3dvision under boot camped Windows? (And more importantly has anyone met with success?)
Using a Mac Pro (first gen Intel, two dual-cores) with NVidia 8800GT card, running the display through a Mitsubishi WD65735 with properly updated firmware.
Have tried Vista32, Vista64, and W7-64 with identical results:
Video drivers install ok, recognizes my card as an 8800GT, games and applications run fine.
Setup wizard, 3d test, etc all manifest a similar problem:
Setup:
When I get to the screen with the two shapes tiled (hardware test), I see both shapes in each eye. Whatever I do to exit the screen, Exit, choose shapes and click Next, etc, the screen hangs up and does not advance. *If I unplug the IR Emitter from the USB port, the system recovers.*
When I get to the screen with the static that is meant to show a box shape, same thing. I click exit or next, or whatnot, and the screen hangs up. Again, unplugging the IR emitter lets the system recover.
3d test:
My television appears to be showing both the left and right eye images... i.e. as the letters in NVIDIA retreat, they split into two, and as they come forward they merge into one. The glasses are not filtering, and again trying to exit the test I have to unplug the IR emitter to let the system recover.
I've caught a message briefly about a driver component that stopped working but was able to recover. (nvlddmkm)
I'm headed to go look for potential solutions to that issue, if that is indeed the root cause, but I'm curious if perhaps it's something else, like bootcamp USB control drivers interfering with the nvidia ir emitter driver, or something like that.
If anyone has information to share, or suggestions, I'd be grateful. (If it's "track down your nvlddmkm problem," I can do that too.)

I'm also curious if you had any success with this. I have a newer MBP with the nVidia 8800GT. I'd like to use the 3d vision in boot camp but I don't want to go through the process until I know it will work.
Thank you,

I don't know if it'll help, but it works for me with a MacBook unibody, Windows Vista boot camped. The MB has a Nvidia 9400M with 186.03 drivers with stereo 3D drivers from the v1.09 CD.
I use the Samsung 2233RZ connected to the MP using Apple dual link DVI adapter.

You got 3D vision working with 9400? I can't get it to work with 9600 under bootcamp and windows 7. Maybe it has something to do with win7 then. When i try to install the 3D vision drivers i get a message that the drivers isn't compatible with my display driver.

Yes it works with 9400. To get it work, i don't install the display driver that come from the 3D vision CD (it won't install because it's a desktop driver), I've just keep the display driver (186.03 for notebook) that comes from nvidia website. Then, i took the 3D stereo driver from the 1.09 CD and there is no messages during installation.
I cannot find others pair of drivers that works for the moment, nor the new 186.81 display driver or my actual display driver are compatible with 3D stereo drivers that comes with v1.10 and v1.11 CD.

Great, this worked!! I tested with the new batman game but it lags like I owe it money. I'll probably need to stick to older games until new drivers arrive. Any cool games you know of that works well in 3D?
