OK. This version may not be quite ready for prime time, but it's definitely playable. Somewhere between alpha and beta quality. Neither Mike nor I have played past meeting Alex, so it's very possible there are other glitches later.
If you see glitches- take a snapshot, share them here.
Edit (updated): Released fix with details:

I'll finish the blog post with more details soon, but you can use it now.
Works with SLI. [s]Best bet is to delete the profile it starts with, use a null profile. Then you can save settings with Ctrl-F7.[/s]Use another profile like Aliens:Colonial Marines.

You guys are awesome, great work all round!
I'll personally hold off in the hope that things will improve over time (but mostly because my backlog means I won't get around to playing this for a few months), but great job!
Thanks Pirate - a bit of playing around in the first 10 minutes won't give too much away in the game (in fact nothing at all), but will at least be another system setup that might have issues with 3DMigoto, or the driver version, or SLI etc. This fix includes the 3DMigoto update for the slowdown that was happening with AC4 for example, so it will be informative to see if things like this crop up. Even running the benchmark (in Steam, open properties and put "-benchmark" in the launch options) might lead to some useful feedback for us :-)
Just finished the game last evening;)) and planning on starting it again for more interesting twists;)) and such;))
Will defo use the fix from 0 to 100% and can give you feedback on anything I come across;))
Thanks Helifax. I am really looking forward to actually playing it myself lol. I am going to set it up on my projector for maximum scariness :-)
Don;t forget the Headphones or the 5.1/7.1 system with the volume cranked up (although the neighbours might really believe there is an Alien invasion at some point if you do that ...lol :)) )
In any case, I really recommend the game if you are a fan of the original Alien (by R Scott). It has a nice bang at the end that makes you question some stuff from the movies;)) (without spoiling anything).
Damn.. 5 more hours till I will experience it ;)) But from what I've seen in the shots AWESOME really AWESOME job Bo3b & Mike!!! Purely awesome!!!
