I'd love to get recommendations for older arcade racers that work with 3D Vision. In the mid 90s I stopped playing pc games for about 10 years so there might be a big gap for me to fill. I love games like Sega Rally 2, Sega Rally Revo (which is simply gorgeous in 3D if you're into older racers), Metropolis Street Racer/Project Gotham Racing, Speed Devils and many other racers from Nintendo64 and Sega Dreamcast era.
For example does Screamers 1 & 2 work with 3D Vision or Outrun Coast 2 Coast? I think Screamers 2 supports dx9, at least it was mentioned in gog.com.
I have quite collection of original Dreamcast and Nintendo64 games so I have already tried some racers with Project64 and 3D Vision and I really love the way those games look - I've been a gamer since mid 80s so my tolerance for pixel and even early 3d graphics is quite good. I've been thinking about trying nullDC with 3D Vision since I've read that it should work with right version of the emulator. I got Project64 2.3.2 working in 4:3 aspect ratio and with Gamecube controller and the experience has been almost as great as when I first time played those games 20 years ago (I really have to buy adapter for N64 controllers).
It would be great if those recommended games would be available in steam or gog since piracy is out of the question for me. You can even suggest same games that Dreamcast and N64 has since pc versions are usually better.
Oh, I almost forgot.. For those who use Project64 2.3.2 with 3D Vision and want to play the games in their native aspect ratio (4:3) there is a trick for it. This is for 1080p displays: First you have to make two custom resolutions for your desktop 1440x1080 120hz and 1440x1080 119hz. Then select the latter resolution in dgVoodoo and Project64 and in the emulator check the "adjust game aspect ratio to match yours" box. After that close Project64 and then choose the latter resolution also for desktop and after that start the emulator again and when the game goes to fullscreen it should be in 4:3. Now this is important: You have to choose that 119hz resolution for desktop every time before you start Project64 because every time the emulation starts it changes the desktop resolution back to 120hz. If you start the emulator with 120hz resolution it just stretches the picture to full screen.
Of course you can use the "adjust game aspect ratio to match yours" with 1920x1080 and play games in widescreen but I really don't like the graphic glitches that it occasionally causes in the sides of the screen. I guess I'm some sort of purist when it comes to aspect ratios and so on. :) I hope this helps someone since I spent some time to find a solution from different forums without any results (I found out that I wasn't the only one searching). Finally I just started experimenting different things and came up with the solution almost by accident - I almost gave up and it was literally the last thing I tried. But it was worth it! :D

Out Run: Coast 2 Coast looks great in 3DV. It's no longer for sale on Steam as SEGA's license with Ferrari expired a few years back. But, if you have it in your library, it's still a blast to play.

That's good to hear since I've been thinking about buying disc version used. It's a shame expired licenses make some games hard to find.
djkano: I have Dolphin installed. I've been into Nintendo games since mid 80s and Switch is their only console I don't own - I think their last really good console was Gamecube although Wii and Wii U had their moments. I love how Nintendo's games really become alive in 3D and will definitely try some Wii games with Dolphin at some point. So far I've mostly played F-Zero GX which is one of my all time favorites and one of the greatest racing games ever made. It was helluva ride to complete all the cups at master difficulty to open the AX cup and that last secret stage Sonic Oval. :) Though I never beat the story mode - my save is still in the last race.
But anyway, arcade racers are what I'm after. Oh, suggested games can also be disc only as long as they are not ultra rare and really hard to find.

Hey
I also started in the 80s and also love arcade racers, but unfortunately I don't have much experience with 3D in emulators.
Definitely check out:
- Grid 1 (google how to edit .xml file to get rid of the motion blur and the ugly postprocess filter
- Grid Autosport (lower postprocess) - this game looks stunning in 3D
- Sonic & All Stars Racing: Transformed - don't judge by first hour of playing, if you dislike kart racers. You'll get used to it. When you reach the flying levels in 3D, you'll thank me. Also, remap the steering so your main hand steers left/right. I remapped to right analog stick in my joypad, cause it annoyed the crap out of me when I tried to fully enjoy the flying. With 3D + right hand (my dominant one), I keep returning to this game and flying levels. Pure joy! The game itself gets more enjoyable with time, first hour it was 5/10 for me, but hours between 5 and 200 were 9/10. Disable postprocess motion blur of course
- Pure/Nail'd - didn't actually played those in 3D, but are great arcade racers. Again - disable postprocess crap and remap to your dominant hand, don't get turn off after you start. Takes 15-20 minutes to get used to. After that it's great and way better than steering with your less capable hand
- Flatout Ultimate Carnage - no need to write anything about this game
- NFS: Hot Pursuit http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2012/02/need-for-speed-hot-pursuit.html
- keep an eye on Redout. If one of the good guys here manages to get enough free time, it may be patched. It's an awesome future racer.
- not sure if it's good, but demo was OK: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/07/gas-guzzlers.html
in Emulators, possibly awesome:
- Outrun on Xbox 1 (don't know the state of the emulation and 3DV compatibility)
- Mario Kart 8 on Wii:U emulator can be awesome
- Burnout 2 on PS2, also WRC, Wipeout on PS2
- Ridge Racer for PS2, maybe even the one for PS3/x360
I missed a lot, my memory is poor and I didn't sleep well. I'll add when I'll remember some more

A lot of times, dx9 games work with 3D Vision right out of the box, especially those using early revisions of dx9. The shaders were much simpler and often stereoized properly.
If a game is using dx7 or dx8, you can use DGVoodoo 2 to wrap it to dx11 and it will likely work well in 3D. Of course once in awhile a dx8 or 7 game will work in 3D, but not often.

when I got my first 3D monitor, the first sonic&sega allstars racing was a standout for me, I played a lot.
Dirt 3 and Grid Autosport also looked outstanding.
I think the best might be Mario Kart Double Dash on dolphin though.

I bought Outrun from ebay and got it today. What profile do you use to play it with 3D Vision?
Thank you all for suggestions! Those Sonic racers are excellent in 3D and I've played a lot the second one. I've also kept playing Sega Rally and I'm starting to think it might be greatest arcade rally I've ever played. For some reason I also think that Cruisin' World is outstanding in 3d with project64. Still haven't got the time to check nullDC but maybe someday. Resident Evil 2 has been consuming my time lately.
