Hey there fellow 3d fans. Just joined the forums to lend my support and to say hi!
I hope that someday 3D reaches critical mass so we can see more reliable and higher quality 3d support in games.
I've got an i-glasses 3d, currently broken. Just tried anaglyph and had miserable results with games, plus I dont like the red/blue tint. I'm now in the process of evaluating eDimensionals shutter glasses for use with my LCD (havent received them yet, but I'm not holding my breath for a great experience).
If I had the money, I just might try a 3D LCD Monitor. Anyone have one out there?

There are several choices for you. There are users at www.stereovision.net forum which have posted how to get LCDs to work with the nVidia driver using ED.exe, and I think you will be interested in a mirror technique, which will mean no ghosting at all.
Don't try to use the LCD with ED driver itself though, as it will wreck your experience.
Have a browse, I am certain you will find something to your liking.

Hi and welcome exalien, Glad to see there are new 3d folks joining now that we have our own forum. I must say there are some drawbacks to the new method with a LCD monitor. By using ED exe to modify the driver to render the picture in interlaced, you are not getting the full advantages of the page flip method. If you have an old CRT, I would try the NVIDIA driver on that first, especially if you have never seen the NVIDIA page flip driver in action. I find interlaced to be very hard on the eyes after a while, but I have never seen interlaced on a LCD screen. Good luck and happy Holo gaming.

Holo Gaming... has a nice ring to it. 3d gaming sounds like just normal fps. £D glasses sounds like red blue ombo... I think thats what comes o new people's minds hen they hear it, and thus ignore it.

Holo gaming though... Sounds about right.
Maybe we should use this term more often?

I would personally go for a pair of E-D glasses and a nice big CRT monitor. I think those are the best results (while keeping the huge nerd factor of the dual monitor/minnir thing down to a minimum). Just look for monitors with really high refresh rates (21" monitors usually have very high refresh rates at resolutions up to 1024x768).
This is the setup I have, and I enjoy it ALOT, and can take off the glasses to get everything back to normal. just MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL YOUR MONITOR DRIVERS to make sure you reach all your maximum refresh rates.
