Since the last patch Build #463 I been playing with 356.04 on a windows 8.1 x64 computer with a swap file of 60 GB and had not crashed once to the desktop since the newest patch and there is no stereoscope/mono switching. In short everything works fine and seems fixed except Markers when racing or flying the plane. With a single titan x I'm getting an average of 40-44 fps in 3D. Besides the frame rates which could be better at lease the game is playable now.

Still broken for me as well. Does anyone else have like 50% or less GPU usage in 3D? I'm running a GTX 980ti and without even maxing settings I'm only averaging around 40 frames! I know CPU plays a big role in this game, but I have a decent 3930K 4.0ghz processor. I should easily be able to play this game at constant 60fps. Any tips or settings I should try to get more performance?

I thought lower gpu usage was only for SLI systems on 3D (on 2D it goes up to 99% while on same spots with SLI I've seen ~60%..) I does happen on single too? shit..

Same here with gtx 980 Ti single Conan. Running 3770k @ 4,5 ghz. Before I got 780 SLI and 970 Single. Always around 40 fps @ 3D.

Just installed GTA V and although I must admit I only played for 20 minutes everything looks gorgeous so far. Just one question regarding 3D Vision: Am I right that the in-game 3D option needs to be enabled? When I had it disabled and tried to increase depth with the on-screen Nvidia depth slider there was no 3D at all and no depth-slider either. So I guess you have to turn on 3D via the ingame options, right? It seems that beside the "3D on/off"-setting there is only one other 3D-related setting in the options and that's convergence. Am I right that after you enabled 3D via the ingame option you need to use the usual Nvidia depth-slider just like in any other game while you can use the ingame setting for fiddling with convergence? Is there any difference between using the ingame convergence setting or the usual Nvidia way with the dedicated hotkey for convergence? So far it seems it doesn't matter if I use the normal way (convergence hotkey) or the ingame convergence setting. But I wonder why there is a dedicated option for setting convergence but no ingame option for setting depth. Anyone here who can shed some light on this?

Up to this point the game runs absolutely flawless for me in 3D and definitely is a sight to behold. Since there are 4 camera perspectives to choose from (First-Person, Third-Person Close, Medium distance, Far distance) I would like to know which one you choose for playing this in 3D? Or do you even use a mixup like one of the third person perspectives for "on foot" combined with First-Person shooting? Right now I am totally undecided which camera perspective I should use. They all look gorgeous!

Now that we have a more stable game (patches) and betters drivers, i think is time to upload the fix. This fix was worked with bo3b to improve performance using the wrapper and the flickering bushes. https://s3.amazonaws.com/dhr/GTA.V.zip Fix: - Yellow markers - Sun beams/glare - Disable golf grid overlay (it's fixed in a patch, but looks better without) - Using 3Dmigoto wrapper produce some flikering bushes, this is also fixed by tweaking the code of some shaders. Notes: - There may be some bushes remaining, if you found one...take a screenshots of the map and screenshot of the bush. - This fix was tested on 350.12, 355.82 and 355.98 drivers. - Using MSAA break yellow markers fix (at least happens to me using single GPU) I will also put this fix in the blog.

Thank you for the fix! I can actually run the game in 3D now without it disabling. Yellow markers are fixed and it did incredibly increase performance in 3D. Thanks DHR.

Hi, I have 2-way-sli 980tis and a 750ti dedicated to physx.. I get 30s fps and with single card I get 20-30s fps.. this has been like this since I upgraded to 980tis from 780tis. My CPU is a 3930k and OC to 4.4ghz.. any fix to allow higher fps? Thank you in advance. I have the same issue that UB313 and Zig1127, the game looks perfect but i have low fps 30 to 40. It's due to an instable "% GPU utilisation" it's oscille between 50 and 65% (i've noted these data from msi afterburner). I have try to activate/disable "Vsync" and "With/without ignore limits" on game option but nothning seems to change. I have a gtx 970 strix 2OC overclocked and a i7 4790k non overcloked I play 1080p with all option very high except MSAA disabled (it cause shadows shaders goes wrong) . I should be able to play at solid 60 fps if my GPU would stay at 99% utilisation like when i play 2D (75 to 90 fps with MSAA on 2D) . Somebody may have a fix or a solution to this issue? Thanks in advance guys.

I have a pretty monster PC and I only get about 40 fps in #D in this game if I am lucky. (not even in surround) I think its pretty well known at this point that there is a bug and in 3d the game is not using all the CPU cores, and this is a CPU heavy game. I'm not sure we can do anything about it and the pleas to nvidia as usual are falling on deaf ears.

I would like to know if with Tridef, there is also the problem with the three core CPU encountered with 3d vision . If Tridef allows for 3d on 4 cores, FPS on GTA 5 should be significantly improved compared to that found on 3D vision , no ? No one has experienced it before I decided to make my own test. EDIT : don't bother ! Apparently, GTA 5 with Tridef sucks :/

There was a 1.6gb update. I'm noticing a high number of flickering bushes, including some in Michael's front yard. I wonder if the update messed up the bush fix?
