Start with joker18's EDID, if it doesn't work, try other EDID's. If none of them work try making your own EDID override. There are guides on the net.
All of the 3DTV's that use Passive 3D is using LG's patented technology, so in theory they should work with EDID overrides that created for LG TV's, but in reality it depends on luck. Some work, some doesn't.
If EDID loads correctly with your TV, you'll see Acer HR274H as your TV's model name in Nvidia CP. Then activate 3DV and run tests at 3840x2160.
After EDID override you can use your TV without an issue with regular 2D content.
For all the other questions read this thread and several other threads in this forum about 3DTVs, EDIDs, 4K, etc.
Also you can use 3dvision-blog.com/forum for lots of guides and info.

thanks for the response, after testing around with tridef interlaced at 4k and 3dtv play at 1080/24 and 720/60 I understand things a lot better. Once I had enough games working with 3dtv play, I tried the EDID override.
I first tried joker's 55UC970 modat.inf file. When I tried setting the resolution to 4k/60 in Nvidia control panel I get "no signal". When I switched to 30 Hz at 4k though, the signal was accepted. I was then able to test the Nvidia 3d tv test image and it looked great with glasses reversed (as expected). I tried 59 and 50 Hz, but anything over 30 gets me the no signal black screen. I tried to still test some games but got the no signal black screen when they launched, I could then tab out of them (blindly) and the signal was back on my desktop. So the good news is my TV seems capable, I just have to figure out the EDID.
I am thinking it might have to do with the color settings, I am only able to choose YBcCr420 at 4k in Nvidia control panel when I game in 4k/60 2D. I can choose RGB/YCbCR444 for any lower resolution. Sony states HDMI inputs for my tv were updated to HDMI 2.0 through firmware and I am up to date, does this mean I should be able to do 4k/60/444 or am I misunderstanding that? I tried 3 different HDMI cables and different inputs on tv and do not get the 444 option, I believe they are high speed (18 Gps) but its been a while. I will try buying a new high speed HDMI cable as short as I can and see if I get different results. It is going straight from 1080ti to TV.
So I also tried innuendo1231b's INF where he "removed some HDMI color depth specific settings from it" thinking this might help my case, but I had the same results as above.
If the new cord testing doesn't change anything, I will have to study up on creating an EDID INF based on my XBR-55X850B but it looks kind of daunting..

I've just replaced my 65UG870V with a OLED65C6V and 3D is still a little bit better, but i'm wondering if there is any EDID Override that would allow me to keep HDR feature ?
For example, in Hitman 2016 i cannot choose "HDR" when i use the EDID Override. Any ideas ?
Thanks

My new 65E6, purchased at the end of May, failed last Thursday, with the screen remaining off and the power-on LED blinking 3 times whenever I attempt to turn it on (I had a similar failure many years ago, with one of my Panasonic plasma TVs). LG's support has been slow so far - I am in a queue to have their support team find somewhere to repair it. It will be interesting to see how long/difficult this repair will be...

I have a LG 55E6 and use the Acer EDID override to get 3d Vision working (under Windows 8.1). However running at a resolution less that 4K puts it in the middle of the screen rather than filling it.
I'ver tried checkerboarding under my Windows 10 Insider build install which uses the default LG EDID but the TV never really kicks into 3D that way. However I have had good success using SBS e.g. last night I played some Rise of the Tomb Raider using its default 3D mode which went into SBS.
For games that use it the 3dMigoto overrides to resize up to 4K work well to help get performance in 3D up to scratch. The SBS modes there also help if you can't get the EDID working.
However the latest Windows 10 Insider builds don't seem to work well with 3DMigoto - I get a set of multiple images scaling to a vanishing point rather than just two (e.g. for SBS!). It's always worth having a second install of Windows. I haven't been able to get HDR working in anything other than Windows 10.

After 2 weeks, my 65E6 is working again. LG's repair authorization process (and parts shipment) was a little slow, but the service company they authorized was knowledgeable (I am in southern CA, so more service options may exist).
Because of amount of glass (only - no other frame/protection) in TV, they were reluctant to take TV to their shop in their truck. Since I did not keep original shipping container, they did all repair work at my house. There are 4 key internal circuit cards that could have created my problem. They swapped the main digital card, but everything started working after they reseated some internal cables/connectors - including when using original digital card again. They left the new digital card (old card intermittent?), which required a special setup with LG factory help to get TV to work with its remote again (special pairing required). If TV fails again, the main power card will be next card examined - but, it is working for now...

I saw today that the 55EF950V has an interesting price (1450 Euro)> How is it?
My 55UC970V is still more than OK but I'm afraid that in a few months 3D OLEDs will "extinct" and now would be a good time to get one.

C6 is available but much more expensive. The 55" version is 2500 Euro. The strange thing is that the 65C6V is only 250Euro more expensive.
I see that C6 is indeed 15ms faster, 34ms is quite a good achievement.
