Thanks Pirateguybrush, that worked like a treat. Now I can finally play this awesome game!! If I get this problem again with other games is the fix pre-rendered frames?
I wonder why NVIDIA dont fix it.
Same for everyone/ alot of people. I was working on a game when I updated and it confused the hell out of me.
Like half the screen has a busted vsync at least for me.
Indeed I have noticed this too under some scenarios:
1. Single GPU - Single Monitor - It appears
2. SLI - Single Monitor - It appears
3. SLI - Surround - works perfect
4. Laptop GPU - Single monitor (via miniDP to DL-DVI-D adapter) works perfect.
At first I thought I was tired and my eyes were acting weird but nope:)) This happens every time
From my POV I can't see any difference between the WHQL and the latest betas they basically behave the same not only for 3D Vision but the whole driver package. (Windows Maximize function is busted, crappy performance in Dragon Age 2, ALT+TAB doesn't work the first time in certain games like Dead Space 3, Playing in Surround in Window mode sometime maximizes (down- stretches) the window to one monitor, annd the list can go on...)

Thanks for the recommendations on this game! For "us surround people", I'll accept playing on 1 monitor... ;-) Thank goodness I remembered to increase the convergence and save the setting. What a treat to play something like this. This is what 3d is all about.
As always, thank you for the shader fixes!
=I'll bet a beauty on the big screen with projector eh?!
So doy ou guys adjust convergence with this game, or just leave it stock?
Always change, or at least I do. I changed it initially then once more later [like in woods I think]
I went pretty high, but had to adjust it once pretty much. Cinematics/zoomed scenes were high but there werent many and very short so I let it go. It wasnt even worth implementing that feature for seperate setting imo. They really didnt happen much, I only remember the one in ending/wolves and I think there were a few but too short to even remember.

One issue I found.
On Win 8.1, latest drivers (331.65), on my 2x 780M SLI, I have huge polygon popup on the right, and sometimes left border of the screen.
It's very very annoying because you see the water behind the building and then all of the sudden part of the building popup, and then finally all of it. Very very distracting.
Something asimilar to the issue I experienced in TW2, which I fixed by setting Max Pre-rendered frames to 1, but in this case, to no avail.
Tried that, tried SLI compatibility bits suggested by eqzitara (Sanctum, etc..), but can't seem to fix it.
If I disabled 3d, it works, very little to none polygon popup, it seems to happen only in 3D, due to the fact that the separation forces more of the scene on the left-right to be seen, and the engine seems to think it's not on the screen, and therefore not to load the models properly.
Any idea on how to fix it?

Just playing through this now. Amazing. I think this will be my new go-to game to show people 3D.
It's another one of those games where it feels like it was designed purely for 3D, even though it wasn't. All that extensive verticality of the landscapes is incredible, and the effect is absolutely lost in 2D. Yet the game was designed for 2D, and it's entirely possible that none of the game designers even have any idea of how great their game can look!
It's like Beethoven composing symphonies when he was deaf. But at least Beethoven realised he was deaf.

I'd recommend giving Trine 2 a try if you haven't yet. Its a bit superior as far as 3D/graphical beauty is concerned imo. Game itself is meh only though. Its not really the same type of game but it really springs to mind.
--------------------------------------------------------
That reminds me I posted an alternate version in comments section. I had it automatically toggle a lower convergence setting for cinematics. Problem is it doesnt toggle back so it needs to be clicked manually afterwards. It seemed a little too complicated to explain on blog [theres a language barrier for many] and I'm not sure if its worth it. Its there though.

Yeah, I've played a bit of Trine 2, though not a great deal. Very stunning, despite the colours being ridiculously oversaturated. But I also think the Trine games are meh. The puzzles are really easy, the enemies keep respawning and are irritating, and the levels all blend into one another because they're so forgettable. I've always thought those games were overrated, which is saying something because I'm usually a graphics nut.
Brothers definitely didn't have the level of intricacy in the graphics as Trine 2. But the verticality! Man, I don't think I've ever seen a game with that much verticality. All those tall cliffs, deep caves, flying sections, long waterfalls, etc. I just loved the feeling of climbing up a level, looking back, and realising that those tiny little spots straight down deep in the valley below are the village I was just in 5 minutes ago. Even Skyrim doesn't gives you vistas as deep as that.
If you'd had told me that this game was expressly designed with 3D in mind, I would have totally believed you.

...oh, ok. I just used the regular version and set the cinematic convergence manually. Though I should have set the convergence way lower. People looked like they were in fun house mirrors where they would reach out of the screen and suddenly their arm was 5 metres long. But I didn't get around to changing it. Like you said, it doesn't happen often.
I'd think the optimal convergence should be pretty much the same for gameplay and cinematics, would you say?

I didnt use it at all as well. Someone asked in comments, was just mentioning it. Everyone's different and I generally get by without any presets because its too much of a mess when combined with fixing a game.
