I have an Acer H5360 and finally got a computer that meets the NVIDIA 3d Vision requirement. Looking at the requirements and FAQ it says you need to hook a VESA cable from the emitter to the DLP display. Since all of the 3d projectors are DLP, does that mean they need this hook up also? This seems really impractical for projectors as most (like mine) are probably very far away from the CPU and emitter. Is this required for DLP projectors?
If I cannot do the VESA cable option (I can't since my projector is ceiling mounted and cables already in ceiling) does that mean I have to use Xpand or some other option for 3d or is there a work around for 3d vision without the VESA cable on projectors?

So how is it possible to use NVIDIA 3d vision on the Acer 5360? That is my question. Do you only connect the emitter to the cpu and use the same setup as the LCD configuration? Why does the FAQ say you need to use the VESA cable with DLP systems? Does that not apply to projectors?

If the prjector is not detected , just select generic CRT it will work fine.. Oh and also dont select the 3D mode on the projector menu... it will only annoy you with a splash warning all the time.. it works perfectly without being in "3D" mode , just make sure its at 120Hz

No you dont have to use VESA for H5360 AT ALL. USB does all the sync!
No CRT stuff is necessary I doubt that method works anymore?!

dont you have green ghosting everwhere? -ever heard about EDID hack?

While I know this is true...I am curious as to how does this projector sync with other types 3D glasses? It says its 3D DLP ready so I assume it works with Xpand102s?
