Prince of Persia: Forgotten Sands Has anyone tried it in 3D?

50% depth looks great...!
Can set convergence pretty high with this setting.
some nice popout effects,..this game looks great ! (only some lighting problems)
Runs smooth too,doesn't go below 30 fps here..,only 30 and up !
Got it looking real good !
Got rid of the lighting problem !
Just turn the settings in the game 1 step lower to medium, and after that turn brightness very low...
Shadows will still be there...
Now you can turn depth to 100% or higher, without any trouble ,only water can look a little off,but the rest is perfect.
Screens below are a little bright, when darker.. they even more bueatiful, but it seems that the program taking the screenshots ,doesn't save the brightness settings.
(screenshot 27 is nice...! /devil.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> )
Try it... ! medium and brightness low ...you will like it !

... how can you live with such a low separation ?
When set to higher depth/convergence I saw a lot of problems with silhouetting/ghosting, you can see in the screenshot below, so low depth/convergence was the better solution for me.

Wow great find! I only had to adjust to Medium, didn't even have to touch Brightness....didn't even think reducing the settings would eliminate the silhouette effect and lighting problems. But that must be it, the High detail setting adds that extra bit of post processing that gives everything a silhouette/haze. I really didn't notice any other reduction in image quality really.
LOL too bad I finished the game last night! :( Oh well, I will play through again in a week or so with the added depth/convergence. :)
Game is fun though, definitely a bit challenging in terms of the platforming for those who aren't used to this. Easy to get frustrated I think, once you get to the "Final Climb" you will know exactly what I'm referring to lol.
Thanks again, looks great, and enjoy! If you need some tips on some of the jumping sequences I can give you some hints but unfortunately with Uplay system it doesn't look like you can jump around chapters. :(

Nope, you don't have to touch the brightness setting, but I think it gives the lighting on the wall back there 'glow' ...probably also depending on the monitor you have for 3d.
I'm not home today,..but maybe tommorow I try to make some screenshots with a couple of brightness settings ,if I can get it to work (save).
Then you will see what I mean.
To bad you already played the game,..but it does look diffrent with depth too 100% and convergence high !
btw.. nice popout in that last screenshot !
Here are two different brightness settings....
It's done with Photoshop,so maybe it looks even better ingame, but it does show what I mean.
Take a good look at the floor and the lights on the wall.
Imo it looks better with dark settings.
Ya those look pretty good, like Ambient Occlusion is enabled. But overall the game looks fantastic with your find about setting to Medium, I played through the first level again with 50% depth and Medium dettail and it looks so much better lol. Wish I could publish 3D stereo movies to show people how awesome it is in actual motion. Funny thing is I cleared to Soloman's Tomb in like 10 minutes...game is a lot shorter when you already know all the puzzles and tricks haha.
As for Iral's Sun lighting bug, yea I noticed that as well as it seems to be a incorrect depth or post process lighting pass artifact when rendering the sun, but mine never looked that bad or pronounced. More like a red/orange silhouette that was out of place on a wall.
