If there’s a 3D Vision profile for Crysis 2, does it mean we can now use 3D dual rendering mode, true S3D instead of Crytek's fake 3D implementation by using the Nvdia drivers?
There’s an option in Crysis 2 menu to enable 3D using drivers, but this option is greyed out using drivers 267.24. Dooes the new driver makes this option available?
If there’s an option in Crysis 2 menu to enable stereo 3D using Nvidia drivers, than I guess we’ll have this option soon available, right?
Does the SLI now works for Crysis 2 using this driver?? No need for a sli fix or stuff like that?
When will 3DTV Play checkeboard option be available in the new drivers??? Does the upcoming WHQL drivers will have this much antecipated feature?

[*]2) Under Stereoscopic 3D > Set Up Stereoscopic 3D > "Select When the Display is in 3D Mode", these options are *DISABLED* when *SLI is enabled*. Is this a known bug/limitation of 3D Vision with SLI enabled or a new bug? Also, see related issue in #3 below.
[*]3) Running single GPU and either "Always On" or "Only While 3D programs run" allows 3D Vision to work when running FFXIV in windowed mode (fake fullscreen or bordered window), however, once SLI is enabled and these options are disabled, 3D Vision no longer triggers in FFXIV while in windowed mode (still works in SLI with fullscreen mode).

There should be an SLI profile for Cyrsis 2 now.
Crysis 2 controls the rendering of their game and how it looks. Please provide your feedback to Crytek if you want a dual camera mode.
3DTV Play checkerboard support is still coming, it takes time to schedule this feature into our drivers.

A lot of the free indie games I've been trying, mostly the free mmos, have ok or no 3d support, except the mouse never works. Maybe replace the windows hardware/api mouse cursor with a 3d-laser mouse cursor? Also there's console commands to hide crosshairs in a lot of games, but putting in a driver 'hack' that allows us to disable all the 2d elements/bitmaps would be neat too. :) I've been playing l4d2 with no crosshair for a while, and it's much better, but I'm personally good at no-scope playing and prefer it, so hiding the crosshair is always a nice option for me. The nametags over players/mobs are always broken too, maybe make a way to hide or fix those easily...although floating nametags aren't really essential, so having a way to delete all the textures where the z-coord is zero on all 4 verticies would be neat. :)
Edit: Also if you're lagging, I play on a 6-core with a 460 in 3d mode, and there's a huge performance overhead!!! for just running the render loop twice...needs more optimizations, lol ;p anyways I keep it in 1280x720 and all options to minimum to not stutter a bunch, and usually can get 60/60fps (120fps) in l4d2 and less in bc2, maybe 30/30 in bc2 unless there's action...and it's notorious for lagging during the coolest times in the gameplay, so I keep the settings on the minimum to maximize framerate, while also keeping my aspect ratio correct for my 120hz screen....also I saw a 600hz 42" plasma 3dtv, that would be neat, hard to get 600fps too though, plus it was on sale locally for $400, and I paid $500 for my 120hz kit/25" screen! Plus the screen came with 2 pairs of glasses free.

Yes, I've tried HL2 and L4D2. HL2 runs solid 60fps now with 3d xhair on!! It's beautiful. L4D2 is also faster. However, the SLI microstutter is still present in this game. But, in my case, disable SLI and it runs smooooth as butter now with just one GTX 570. Haven't tested any other source games, but so far so good. :)

Are you running Windows 7 64-bit? I don't have an SLI setup, just an overclocked GTX580. I also always play games with Vsync on. I would download and try the betas but I always like to wait for the WHQL driver releases. I also absolutely hate having to go into the control panel and under "manage 3D settings" have to enable what type of FSAA, AF, etc for every game I have installed, every time there is a driver update. I would assume I would have to do the same with new 3D vision drivers. A real PITA. So I'm looking for as much feedback as possible before I go about installing new drivers and spend an hour resetting up game profiles in the control panel and cusotom 3D vision settings for each game and tech demo I use it with.

[Monitor]: Acer H5360 3D 720p Projector on 80" Screen
I just installed the drivers, I did a custom/clean install, didn't install physics, the audio driver or the NVidia updater. rebooted.
Enabled Surround, Enabled 3D.
I had issues with the one game (WoW) I tried in DX9 initially it was running at <1fps, GPU was correctly changing power state, but @ <1% usage according to precision.
I rebooted, tried again this time set the resolution to 1920x1080 to start with and got an on screen, out of memory message when I tried to enable 3D and set it to a surround resolution.
When I quit the game this time, my computer never made i back to the desktop, just a black screen, I assume because of the VRAM OOM I got in game.
rebooted again.
Launched WoW for a 3rd time and it now appears to be working. I think the DX9 performance was improved, but it's hard to tell with the 2 minutes I messed around for.
So I'd say that these drivers could use some work, or at least the install.
I'm running on i7950@4.2GHz/X58 with 2x EVGA GTX580 6GB RAM and 3 ACER 235HZ monitors @6000x1080 surround 3D

So, is the 3DTV Play disabled in this driver? I don't see the logo that shows it's on and under stereoscopic 3D settings it has the ad telling me to get it...even though I already have it.

No, they "fixed" the profile. Now it's just plain wrecked.
You can sort of play it in 3D, minus any nice visuals, by employing the reshacks on the launcher described in this forum already. Other than that, they can't seem to give a crap about supporting Rift.

Anyone has a tool to assist with a Clean install of the Nvidia Drivers. I am unable to uninstall the Nvidia 3D Vision Controller ver 266.21 and that I am assuming is preventing me from installing the new 3d vision driver. Any assistance would be appreciated. I already used Driver sweeper and ccleaner. Tried of course in Safe mode too.

Andrew, there's a option in Crysis 2 menu for stereo - drivers, but it's greyed out. I assume they put this option cause sometime they might release a patch that will make this option selectable and then we'll be able to use dual camera mode for true S3D. Don't you think so, otherwise there would be no such option in the game's 3D menu.
I see no mention about a profile for Bulletstorm??? I hope it has the same as drivers 267.24 have, otherwise I'll have to go back to 267.24

Rift - Can this game at least get some 3D stereo? Right now it's mistaken for "The Rift" game.

No, they "fixed" the profile. Now it's just plain wrecked.
You can sort of play it in 3D, minus any nice visuals, by employing the reshacks on the launcher described in this forum already. Other than that, they can't seem to give a crap about supporting Rift.

Crysis 2 has major flickering on my setup with these drivers. 2D or 3D. 3D actually just blacks out the right lense on the glasses.
