I saw the trailer for it on Steam, and was just about ready to jump on this (even though I haven't been much of a turtles fan since I was a kid) because it looked that damn good, but once I read about the 30 FPS cap then I decided I'll wait until someone is able to hopefully unlock that. If so, then I might take a look at fixing it (going off the standard assumption it'll be broken).

TBH.... Its PlatinumGames worst game. I played it and gave up even though its like 6 hours. Its on same engine as Revengeance/Transformers and is all cinematic crazy like the above. I don't speak for you but I'd look at Transformers long before this game. Its very solid.

Yeah, that's what I read most people saying on the Steam reviews. I haven't really played any of the recent Platinum games to compare it to, so I was hoping that if I played this one first I might enjoy it on it's own merits (without having the bar set high by their other games), and then I know that playing the other games after that will be an even better experience... but yeah, I guess either way I'm probably best to wait for it to be around the $20 mark before considering it. I'll definitely pick up Transformers when there's a decent enough sale on it.

The thing that sucks about Activision, is that they pull games without warning as soon as the licensing deal expires. TRANSFORMERS: Devastation is $10

Ahh, the bastards pulled this game from Steam and everywhere else :( http://www.polygon.com/2017/1/4/14172096/platinum-games-ninja-turtles-mutants-in-manhattan-tmnt-removed PlatinumGames always have responsive/fluid controls, with great combos and visuals. I'm disappointed that I didn't grab it in the Christmas sale, even if it wasn't that great of a game. Turtles rule !

This one was overpriced even during the Christmas sale. I think it was %50 off of $40. The older one was $2.50 during that time but it's gone now. Too bad, I should of got that one while it was still available.

If you haven't, give The Legend of Korra a try. The game is short and repetitive, but once she has all of her powers, she has some really awesome combos. It needs fixed, but it's not too bad in most places.

Alright, sure. I played Transformers Devastation for hours because of all the different combos and timings I could execute. Imagine a Platinum game in VR, that would be a perfect example of a high intensity workout.
