@bo3b....with the 1.1.8 the game crash for me (even disabling [Device] section on the ini). For the 720p resolution i try a lot of stuff without sucess: - changing desktop resolution to 720p and delete the config file - changing values in the config file to force 720p (read only) - using 3Dmigoto 1.1.6 and forcing resolution (1.1.8 crash the game) - Using rivatuner to force resolution So definitely we will have to wait an official patch for the 720p resolution :((
OK, bummer. Thanks for trying that, I'll keep working on it. If you can set calls=1, debug=1, unbuffered=1, and send me the log file, I'll take a look. I have not seen the setting for screen resolution to work here, only the full_screen=1. If you run it with no fix installed, and have deleted the config file- does it run first launch at 720p? That was what I noticed on first launch, but this may be a key difference of 3D TV Play versus frame-sequential. It's totally bizarre that they have 1024x768 and not 1280x720.

@sammy123 The CRU program + bin file works for me, now the game force to 720p.....BUT now i have some nasty cons in windows desktop...my 3DTV is native 1080p....i suppose this will work fine with projectors where native resolution is 720p...thanks for sharing! @bo3b No, the game always start at 1080p (native resolution), even if i set the desktop to 720p. The solution posted by sammy123 works, because force the screen to a native 720p. edit1 The game don't generate any log file.....suppose 3Dmigoto not even load. the game generate a log error....will help?

The game is not one big world as CDProject stated in the beginning. It is subdevided into different worlds which are truly big however. You reach the second part of the overall world after 4-5 hours playtime. I just wanted to add that not only the beginning of the game is fixed but also if you progress in the game. ;)

Guys, is it assumed that Witcher 3's game specific driver (352.86) has already been installed? Assuming that I've done the right thing by extracting the zip file into the game's bin folder, this early fix isn't kicking in for me as yet. The game runs as before, but the shadows haven't reset.

I for one didnt do anything special to get this to work(120hz 3d vision, havent tried 3dtvplay). I have witcher 3 game ready driver installed, i extracted the fix into Witcher 3\bin\x64 where the .exe file is located and it worked like a charm. I have made compatibility mode tweak too earlier via helifax's guide but i dont think that changes anything.

I have witcher 3 game ready driver installed, i extracted the fix into Witcher 3\bin\x64 where the .exe file is located and it worked like a charm. I have made compatibility mode tweak too earlier via helifax's guide but i dont think that changes anything.

I have barely played the game, and the game seems to dump shaders as it goes along, so it probably only works for the early part of the game, but I will be out for over a week and thought I might as well make this available for feedback. There's lots of incorrect lighting effects still, and I disabled a couple of effects, but overall it's looking good I think.
