[quote="3D1234"]I have a big problem with Arkham Origins. i´m playing with 3DTV Play and 1080p@24Hz with full details enabled. So far it runs great and smooth without freezes, but every time when the game is loading i have to press CTRL+ALT+DEL and go back to the game otherwise the game stay at the loading scene all the time. i have to do this every time when the game is loading after changing location or after cutscenes for example. after the ctrl+alt+del the game immediately appear in the pause-menu and i can play until the next loading scene.

it runs great in 2D mode.
any ideas to resolve this problem?

This is a problem with the game itself, not your system. The game is buggy and needs to be patched. I'm sure it will be soon.

What exactly do you mean about field of view? Are you talking about, oh, what's it called... Dangit... where it changes the picture to have black bars on the sides, and always distorts the ratio of the image and the one advanced setting in NV CP that I NEVER touch? That one? Or are you talking about something else?

SnickerSnack - We mean Field of View (FOV) to expand you view point. Make you see more on the screen. Wider field of view like it happens when you got Nvidia 3D Surround (not that great but at least more than original).

Yea me as well. Second after is to add SweetFX. Anyway i`ve been trying to add all this command lines to the config file. Didn`t do much and also the old trick from Arkham City did not work.

Check yourself. Maybe you can find specific line which works on single screen.

Does that not make the characters on the screen really small?
Anyways, slightly off-topic but still on the subject of the game: I read the article about all of the Nvidia Technology that went into this game, and one of the things they were bragging about was the Nvidia enhanced DOF, and how it affected certain scenes. The one in particular was when Batman is using his sequencer. It demonstrated how, with regular DOF setting, everything is blurred except for the sequencer (including Batman's face). With Nvidia's enhanced DOF however, Batman's face was clear and sharp down to the stubble, while everything beyond the sequencer was blurry.
So my issue is, I have every setting maxed out in this game, but the effect I'm getting is not the same one they were bragging about. Has anyone noticed this or have an idea on the issue?

Yea the character is smaller and doesn`t cover up the view that much but also you see more on the sides. For me this is important because i play right on the front of the screen. I use to be on 150 inch screen with 3D so you know it`s a habit;)
I will keep an eye on this mentioned effect since i am going to play right now. Only think to consider before is the honesty of advertisement. Am i right ;)

Exactly as most games often seems to have a really crappy field of view even if you can change it in game, e.x Dishonored is way to low even om max ingame setting.
Ohh to bad it's not working, well I will check it out and PM you if I got it working :)

Hey guys, I'm resurrecting this thread to ask about SweetFX. Some of you have mentioned it on here.
I recently downloaded SweetFX, as well as a configurator, since I don't want to fool with editing a text file. I've never used an injector like this before, and I'm not sure I'm doing it right.
I've moved all the files in the Arkham Origins binary directory, and I've opened the injector and tweaked settings. Only thing is, when I try to launch the game, I get a message that says "Steam must be running in order to launch this game." - Well, Steam IS running. But the only way I can get the game to launch is to launch it through Steam itself. In fact, I can create a shortcut to the .exe and put it on the desktop, but I still get the same message (weird, right?).
Anyway, my question is: By launching the game through Steam, are the SweetFX settings being applied? Or must the game be launched THROUGH the configurator in order to take effect?
Many thanks!
P.S. - I'm trying to enjoy this game, but good grief! It's crashing and buggy even more since the update!

I'm using SweetFx 1.5.1 on BA: Origins and I just loaded up the game and it's working fine for me (even with the latest patch). I don't use a configurator but rather instead just place the SweetFx files in the "Binaries\Win32" folder where the .exe is located.

Launching through Steam is fine, but some overlays can interfere with SweetFX. Fraps will break it, and sometimes the Steam overlay is. Fortunately, you can disable that on a per-game basis.

Okay, thanks for the input guys. TBH I haven't noticed much of a difference when it comes to AA. Although the HDR setting in SweetFX made the colors all wonky.
Ever since the patch though, the game has been crashing more frequently. I have to start it up around four times before it will actually make it past the Nvidia logo. Very frustrating. I haven't been able to tell that any improvements have been made.
