Best Windows 7 Drivers So Far? What is still needed? 1.08, 1.09, 1.10, 1.11, 1.12, 1.13
I am running Win7 x64....I was not very happy with 1.12 when they came out last week, it didnt seem to fix anything for the new games as described in the update. I have not tried 1.13.
In your opintion....What are the best stable 3D vision drivers so far for Windows 7?
That brings up an interesting question with Windows 7 official public release this month, what should Nvidia be resolving the most with Windows 7 drivers?
Recommendations/What is still needed?
I would still like to see convergence on-screen adjustment just like depth is available now.
Someone else mentioned on another thread about the option of turning off 3d game info by default - hate turning this off on EVERY game (ctrl+alt+insert)!!!
Stability! I was happiest with 182.50...but that was when i was on Vista :(
Share your thoughts and hopefully Andrew will be watching!

I use 1.13 Win7 x64. Now i can deactivate 3DV in my game again, without bluescreen /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> .
And if you don't want to turn off 3DV in every game every time you start it, use the option in the control panel. I do. It works great and its called Hide stereoscopic 3D effects when game starts.
So what i wanne say is, i'm happy with the disc 1.13v for Win7 x64.

I think that if you desactivate the 3d game info and then save profile Ctrl+F7, it will not appear next time (EDIT: although now, I am not completely sure, I should check...)
I would like to see some new advanced hotkeys as glasses synch adjust/delay, or at least glasses eyes swap (needed for projectors). Although the most wanted would be openGL (not quadro) support.

With windows 7 x64 i have many problems:
1. flickering like in that movie:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwCOv0yv5dE
2. stereoscopic that self deactivate during the game.
once I deactivate the info it stays off for that game. you just have to do it once a game on my system

Yeah, the 3DV info popup only comes up the first time I play a game. After I adjust the settings I always save them (hit Control-F7) and after that you will never see the message again. I think it is actually pretty helpful so you don't have to be going into the profile and having to write settings down on a piece of paper before playing. It is also not extremely hard to press 3 keys on the keyboard one time.
In regard to the separation controls, yeah they should certainly have some OSD. It is very difficult sometimes to even see what you are doing and even harder to share the settings with anyone else. It would also be nice if the depth OSD had a number attached to it to so settings can be shared. Having to count the bars is not a solution.
Also, what type of stability issues are you encountering on Windows 7. I was really hoping to upgrade soon and thats the last thing I want to hear about. I've had no issues with Vista32 so far.

I think my issue with the 3D info that comes up is because of the always uninstalling/installing new drivers...of course I have to setup everything back up like advanced shortcut keys, depth, etc., but you guys are right when I press F7 and save the setting it doesnt come up again.
My issues with some of the earlier Win7 drivers were BSOD, but the latest drivers have not had that issue (for me)....just that some of the newer games have not worked for me (NFS Shift always comes up with 3D vision discover colors and when I change the setting back to my HDTV it just goes back when I load the game). Wolfenstein is not working which was a bummer since that is one of my favorite games to date. Most of the drivers lately have been beta and I think that is due to Windows 7 focus so hopefully things will get better soon with all games released.

+1 for Convergence OSD this is definatly needed and strange how its still not included, how hard can it be lol.
Stability seems fine on 1.13 drivers however, on occassions the glasses will basically stop shuttering leaving the screen in 3D mode but the glasses doing nothing good job I can disable 3D without a BSOD now lol.. its almost as if the glasses turn off and wont re-activate even though battery level is fine
Above leads me to request a hotkey or internal detection and reset of the sync in some form or other, Since I dont know the cause, I would not know what to request, but turning 3D off and back on does not reset it, I have to quit and re-load the game for this.
I would also like to be able to change the brightness on my Samsung 2333, why lock it when 3D is enabled us PC users like to customise to our preference lol, Im not sure if thats firmware or driver level though

I would like to see some new advanced hotkeys as glasses synch adjust/delay, or at least glasses eyes swap (needed for projectors). Although the most wanted would be openGL (not quadro) support.

In regard to the separation controls, yeah they should certainly have some OSD. It is very difficult sometimes to even see what you are doing and even harder to share the settings with anyone else. It would also be nice if the depth OSD had a number attached to it to so settings can be shared. Having to count the bars is not a solution.
