3D Vision Disover on Notebook (English and German)
Hi I have bought a new graphic card for my Laptop Now I installed the driver and there is also a 3D Vision driver. One year ago I had a desktop PC with the 3D program called: "3D Discover". I used it with red/blue glasses. I have searched the program but i couldn't find it on my pc and also on many forums in the internet. I know that I can use 3D Vision with a 120 Hz screen but I don't have enough money. Does anyone know a way to use red/blue or other 3D versions without a new screen? There are a lot of forums on other websites but they are all of 2010 and older. Hardware: Intel Core i7-3630QM Nvidia GeForce GTX 880m / 8GB GDDR5 RAM DDR3 8GB Thanks (I'm german and I'm not so good in english grammar.)

Enable stereoscopic 3d in the nvidia control panel, and set the mode to "3d vision discover".

You will not be able to get Discover to work if the video output is routed through the Intel Graphics. You can go to the PhysX setup tab in the Nvidia control panel to see if any of the video outputs are connected to your 880m. If you can't get it to work, you can try TriDef or iz3D, both have free anaglyph.

I don't run a laptop, so I don't know if it will work, but you could try getting the graphic driver directly from NVidia, not your laptop maker. The laptop makers tend to screw things up and disable features, and I've read that direct driver install can be better. Worth a try anyway: http://www.geforce.com/drivers

You're trying to do this on the laptop screen, yes? Because it probably won't work on an external screen.
