Samsung 2233RZFuhzion+FX3700+OpenGL+Emitter+CE3 Anyone succeded with this?
Have tried setting up the 120 HZ Syncmaster 2233RZ monitor with NvidiaFx3700 and Real3D Stereo emitter and glassess. The same setup working in OpenGL Quad buffered CRT monitor based environment.

It seams like I do get a double, high refreshed picture on the monitor, but however not really syncd' with the emitter giving a result that picture is... black with the RealD glasses (tilting a littlbe bit gives double(even triple!!?)image), double image wth the Nuvision pair of emitter - glasses...

So... unable to get it working. Anyone succeeded? What the limiting factor, is it depending on the Nvidia driver (using ordinary Fx3700 driver with 3-pin stereo support)? Shouldnt the monitor get an updated freq of 120Hz which then is synced with the emitter like in an ordinary CRT setup?

Tips, ideas, anyone?

Thanx

Nope not at all... however there will be a new driver coming up from Nvidia this spring! :-)

We have a number of customers who use the shutter-goggles with crt's and quad-buffered OpenGL. But CRTs are harder and harder to come by. So we are eagerly looking forward to being able to use LCDs instead of CRTs.

We're obviously very interested in this. Has anyone gotten this to work? If so, can you provide details?

I'm checking the forums/drivers every day, hoping for a Quadro driver announcement. I'm currently using a GTX 260 with my 3D Vision and the GIS programs I'm using require quad-buffering/stereo-in-a-window (same as StereoUser). I also have an FX 3700 that I could be using but since this is a work pc, I'd rather not have IT down here every other day swapping out cards until the driver is out. Once it is, I'll trade the 260 in and let you know.

The 3D Vision has awesome potential to replace the bulky CRTs and very expensive dual-monitor setups like the Planar (which work and look fantastic) that non-gamers have to currently choose between. Nvidia, I'm talking up all that potential but you gotta give me something! ;-)
