Yep, 'unfixable' is really a matter of will. Even without headers, it's possible to make headway on games, and it depends upon the desired quality level. If you want it perfect, you'll have to wait for someone who likes the game enough to put in the time. AC:Unity was partially fixed by DHR, so I don't think Anvil-next is a lost cause. He stopped working on it because the performance sucked always, and they never fixed it. It's worth noting that NVidia just posted a CM profile for this game in the latest driver.

I don't know, but for me the last Half of 2016 and this year so far have been very lacking in games that I really want to play (maybe 2 games: The Last Guardian and NIOH, are the only ones that I really see them relying on properly crafted games and not some MP focused game with a SP campaign of 4-6 hours -_-) Please Mass Effect: Andromeda BE A GOOD GAME ^_^

So, I grabbed this. It reminds me of Tekken (in that combat feels like you're in treacle) and Bushido Blade (which is a very, very old game). The single player is kinda interesting. Ish. Two levels in and it all feels a bit the same. I dived into a couple of multiplayers, and it's passable. But I'd say if you're on the fence, wait for a sale down the line. It looks like they're set up to (try to) keep this running for a long time, with seasons and rounds and eveer changing battlegrounds and such. There's a bajillion things to unlock for each character, and I'm kind of a sucker for dressables, so I might spend the weekend getting a little more into it, but PvP isn't really my thing. p.s. If you're interested in good games - I'm really enjoying tales of berseria - compatibility mode works pretty well out of the box, and firewatch was a lot of fun. But you're right - there's not a lot on the docket I'm terribly excited by. Playing FFXiii-2 in the background.

Just to report on the Single Player campaign, it's really kind of a stretch to call it a single player campaign- there is no real cohesive story or plot, it basically just serves as a tutorial for the Multiplayer game... which is a bit disappointing. It's similar to the game structure of Rainbow 6.

(I think I'll buy that PS4 Pro console soon + NIOH lol)
When you get your hands on the Pro + Nioh you will have lots to catch up on, helifax! ;-) Only naming a few of the absolute best exclusives you'll owe it to yourself to play the Uncharted-series (at least Uncharted 2 - 4), The Last Guardian, The Last of US - Remaster, God of War 3 - Remaster and of course (since you are a Souls afficionado) the PS4-exclusive Bloodborne (which is actually part of the Souls-series just with another setting). Also Horizon Zero Dawn is just a few days away from release and also looks very promising. Back to topic: Am I right that no one seems to be interested in fixing For Honor currently!? Just asking because in this case I wouldn't hold back on opening my PS4 For Honor that I got with the Collector's Case. Although I am very tempted to put it on the bay considering the prices the Collector's Edition fetches there (slightly above 300 EUR)! In case no one is planning on fixing For Honor I may sell only the Collector's Edition's additional stuff while keeping the PS4-game.

I heartily second all the games Lohan played (except God of War 3 - it's fun, but the story will be lost on you without the first 2). They are all must-plays. I'll also add Journey and Flower to that list as well.

I updated my drivers last night and the CM mode official profile is actually pretty good. Still not the same though obviously. Game would be amazing in real 3D. A little bit disappointed there isn't more interest in this game. If I had the skills I would be fixing it, but that header situation definitely seems out of my reach, at this point. It's a shame because it actually doesn't look to bad in 3d just a few broken effects and shadows, and some slight haloing. It's a perfect game to get into the fundamentals of fighting games imo. It is relatively simple but has many of the concepts of a 3d fighter, Wiff punishing, Mixup mind games, Spacing and baiting. Haven't had this much fun with a game for a long time, the 4v4 elimination matches are awesome. Obviously if you aren't into competitive fighting games it probably won't be your taste. My friend bought it and initially hated it, I guess because he was just getting has ass handed to him, after i made him hit the advanced training and advised to play the bots until he can beat them consistently at level 3, then after he started getting better he got addicted as well. I have to admit, It took me quite a while to get into it too intially and I wrote it off at first. Still haven't touched the single player campaign will try to force myself this weekend, I keep meaning too but then I think. "just a couple of 4v4 deathmatches first..... Oops the sun is coming up."

Nvidia has an article for the game http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/for-honor-pc-effects-and-features and an older one http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/for-honor-geforce-gtx-1060-recommended-gpu
Here's an early WIP for this game: https://s3.amazonaws.com/djrking/For+Honor+3D+fix+WIP+v1.zip Fixes some of the broken lighting and a few basic adjustments to the HUD. Still quite a few minor broken effects here and there, but this at least gets it playable (or, at least it does for the practice missions and story mission 1-1, can't speak for anything after that as I haven't gotten to play much yet). In case you want to adjust how far in the HUD is pushed, there's a key setup for that on the ] key I also disabled an outline that appears over certain targets/characters that I couldn't find a fix for as of yet. Don't think it hurts to have it disabled, but if it's required for anything it can be reenabled with the [ key (but will be in 2D).

thanks man. This makes me want to pick up the game soon. Weird actually that those new anticheat programs "kill" the 3d vision fixes. I hope this is not going to be a thing in the future.
Easyanticheat detect the fix and cant play multiplayer...
Damn, really? I thought that Watch Dogs 2 used Easyanticheat as well, and didn't have any hiccups. That'll be very disappointing if this being a MP focused game can't play with the fix in MP. Haven't had a chance to try MP yet (not keen on getting my ass handed to me until I got a grip on how to play, at least), but I'll take a look and see if I get the same result.

Confirmed. It spits an error about d3dcompiler_46.dll being an unknown file. Can still play online against bots, but that's not going to be too appealing to most who get this game.
