Need help to play Mass Effect correctly
Soooo for all people playing Mass Effect with 3D vision...

How do you play that game ?
I mean I have the 3D thingy working correctly, and the game is pretty stunning buuuut...
Personnaly, I can't do a decent thing because of all the 2D indicators in the way. Because of that, I can't target correctly the opponents and I'm not really able to tell how deep things are.

So is there a way to remove all the 2D indicators for targeting ??? Or some magic trick to be able to see things correctly ?

Because, actually and unfortunately, for me, the game is unplayable.

I just tried to ignore it. It can be a bit annoying but you eventualy get used to it.
I would recomend sticking with it, your eyes will adjust and there are some quite nice 3d effects once you look past the obvious 2d HUD error.

I just got used to it really. Not much else that can be done. Maybe they'll be able to increase the depth of it like we've seen in some Source games. But besides th the GUI the game is fantastic in 3D besides the lack of dynamic shadows, that was a real shame.

Hi Tyrune and others,

See my advice to angilina in the Gears of War topic. Try it and good luck but 2D indicators and text lables can be an additional problem. The high convergence with all that popout might take some getting used to but I think you guys can handle it. Check out my 3d images in the KOTOR topic to see the difference high convergence settings can make.

Try it for a good long while and post your results. I would like to know if this idea helped you all.

later.
