Sorry for the late reply to this thread - I think we will have some good news for you in our next driver release, which is due very soon. We are adding a toggle capability for the new 3D render mode for users that wish to retain the standard 3D Vision stereo mode, which should mean mods will be unaffected.
Thanks guys!

Steve, that's fantastic news. Especially given DX11 fixes are getting closer to reality, the ability to toggle this feature is much appreciated.
If I could add in one request, could the toggle be on a per-game basis?

It seems I'm a little late to the party, but I just noticed this this morning and you can consider me signed if it'll still help. I was even about to get the Bioshock Infinite Helix mod and give it a go, but I'll just hold off 'till the new drivers for now.

The Specs
GeForce GTX 660TI X2 SLI gpu
Asus M4N75TD mobo
AMD PhenomII X6 1075T proc
Patriot G2 (4x4Gb) 1600 RAM
Some HDDs and the slowest SSD known to mankind
OCZ Fatal1ty 750W PSU
Corsair Carbide 500R (with side fan, not window)
Also running 3D Vision, all at stock clock speeds.
which should mean mods will be unaffected.
... but most likely doesn't. Lol. I'm extremely skeptical of anything those guys do, it should be a setting in the control panel to enable it and it should be toggled on by the user in any game that they want to try it out on(like TriDef's Power3D). Most likely it'll be forced on and the user will have to toggle it off in-game, which, if the game's locking up because of it, means the mod will have to be disabled first, then the game would have to be run, fake 3D disabled, profile saved, mod reenabled ... and next driver install would most likely overwrite the settings ... fun.

Gosh, way to go thinking realisti.... I mean "glass half full". ;)
I think I'll stick with the pre-Fake "LowPowerVision" drivers until this get sorted out. (sigh)

Also of note: In the driver notes, I see you are calling out the "fake-3d" as "3D Compatibility Mode" which is much, much appreciated as a good way to differentiate them.

Hurray! I hope games continue to support good 3d vision or at least allow the helix people to fix them.
As I said before although I may be a minority customer demographic 3D support is now a huge factor when deciding on a new game. Shadow Warrior is an example of a game I would not have bought if it was not in 3D. There is nothing wrong with the game but I still would have passed on it otherwise.
Also Modern Warfare 3 is a game I was iffy on. I wanted to see the end of the story, but i was tired of the gameplay. When I saw the helix patch that settled it.
The Modern Warfare series should win an award for being so much fun to play while being so depressing to watch the story unfold at the same time.

Hey everyone, just a quick question, I'm using 3D vision Surround across 3 monitors and this new patch seems to have ruined the previously decent 3D in BioShock Infinite for me, anyway around this or will I just have to lump it with 2D for the rest of the game?

Ok thanks,
Seems odd that new drivers broke the 3D for me and now I have to wait for another driver release...
Also consider me sighned for this pertition.
Assuming your using Helix's fix, try deleting the Profile using NVIDIA Inspector ...
