3D Mode Totally Screwed 3D Glasses and drivers are not working
Hello Everyone,
I recently bought the 3D Nvision glasses, and initially they worked great on the Nvidia player etc. I ran Batman AA and setup the 3D mode and it worked fine.
I tried installing Star wars empire at war, and even though it works, the 3D glasses don't turn on. If I press the green button or Control-T I can "adjust the depth" but nothing happens to the glasses, the refuse to turn on, and its like playing the game in normal mode with the performance taking a hit.
The 3D mode overlay is running, but won't turn the glasses on. Basically I can see the '3D mode' without the glasses. If I run the nvidia test demo after it, same problem unless I recycle the driver by disabling it and then re-enabling it. Then I need the 3D glasses on to properly watch and enjoy the 3D effect.
I enabled Vsync, turned off any anti-alias etc. Now this program installed Direct X 9.0C, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I also tried Team Fortress 2, and same thing. After I run one of these programs, batman AA won't work in 3D either until I disable and reenable the 3D mode off the control panel.
I have
GT240 Running the 120Hz Samsung 1680x1050 monitor
GS7900 - driving 2 additional 1680x1050 monitors
Windows 7 Professional 64 bit
Running the latest 196.21 driver
Does anyone have any idea what is happening? Could someone please help, or give any idea as to what I need to do to fix this? I really want to start gaming in 3D in other games besides Batman AA.
I think its a driver issue (yes I tried reinstalling the drivers 3 times, and same problem) /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Is there anyone else who has had problems with non direct X games or Steam games running in 3D? For most people here, did the games just 'work' out of the box or is there some sort of command line option I need to put in to force the 3D effect or force the 3D stereo vision being used?
I'm totally at a loss for what it might be, any help or insight (especially from nvidia support) would be greatly appreciated. I just want to enjoy my games in 3D, or at least have a clue what to look for, anything?!?

I've just noticed that whenever the 3d mode works the monitor is at 120Hz. I started to check the monitor refresh rate when I experience my problem and its always at 60Hz.
is there anyway of forcing the output to 120Hz so the 3d Glasses will activate?

I've managed to only get one other game so far working in 3d mode, and that is age of empires 3.
I've tried Cod MW2 via steam to work and so far nothing. The green text shows up (control-alt-insert) so it looks like the drivers are there but it won't pop the 3d shutter glasses to activate. If I look down the sight of my gun in normal mode its straight, if I turn on the driver I only see the left eye image, which I can see clearly without the glasses and switch back and forth.
