Does the 3d vision 1 kit works with 3dtv play?
  1 / 2
Just want to know if it works or not, using the 3d vision 1 emitter with 3dtv on my computer to my lg 3d tv in 1080p60 checkerboard mode.

it means it is only working but it should not because of a Bug a flaw in the program or a glitch.. 3D Vision Glasses Should NOT work with 3D TV Play..

3DTV Play costs $40 and has a 5 activation limit. When it runs out, you can contact customer service to get it renewed for free. There is a trial available. Nvidia's glasses will not work when using 3DTV Play, the emitter is deactivated. However, the emitter will act as a product key and enable 3DTV Play for free, as long as it remains connected. Checkerboard is a supported format in both 3D Vision and 3DTV Play. LG Active = Checkerboard great option if supported LG Passive = Checkerboard bad option

With passive monitor EDID override, you do not need 3DTV Play. The override enables native 3D at full horizontal resolution with 60 Hz frame rate. Alternatively, some of the more recent games on the helixmod website feature versions of 3DMigoto that directly support SBS, TaB, and line-interlaced 3D TV formats (TaB and line-interlaced formats are best for passive displays).

I don't mind if it render incorrectly for some games.

Hi, I have 3D Vision "1.0" BenQ XL2410 with separate emitter and the original glasses design. 3D Vision "2.0" ASUS VG278H with built-in emitter and lightboost. Can even use monitor directly with a PS3. 3D Vision "EDID Hack" LG 55" passive line interlieved TV (non-oled), Completely fucked up getting graphical glitches all over the screed that can't be captured in screenshots but obviously possible to photograph. Not recommended. 3DTV Play "using my emitter to unlock" realy poor experience and the only works well and activates when I turn down resolution to 720p and in a lot of games it does not trigger. As the only working solution for my TV it seems as good as it gets on my new RTX 2080. No way to get 3D Vision over Display port and the included adapter is crap. Passive mode leading to a lot of ghosting it is probably the worst 3D I've seen but it works well for my 50+ 3D Blu-ray so I'm happy with just going at it with blu-rays at 55". From this you should extract that 3D Vision 2.0 works almost perfect. Triggers and has no ghosting graphical artifacts and looks great. Works well with my 11 year old computer recently upgraded with a GTX 980 not bad. Only problem is that ShadowPlay won't capture a proper video when recording.

Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.

I think you misunderstood. I have a problem you can't capture in a screenshot at all. Something is wrong in the driver clearly. 3D Vision is software based and what is returned is varios display buffers. When leaving the 3D Vision driver the kernel drivers takes over and start to write additional polygons all over the screen. EDID override is triggering some kind of rare HW bug. I have no problem with the actual TV so the problem is stuck there in the kernel driver.
