I just bought the game on Steam sale. So where are we with native 3D vision?. :) I understood, that CM works fine. I can post some pictures after having downloaded the game.

not, as Flugan said CM does not. I tried with the CM TriDef, but I did not succeed either.
if I understand (but my english is bad) Flugan tempt to make a patch when he have time. :-)
If you happen to operate the CM. I want to know how :-). because that would be better than nothing :-p. but only for dx11 games :-(

CM does not work. So it seems to be a DX9 game and actually it also looks like one.
Using the Prototype profile improves a bit the totally messed up shaders.
The only thing that would helps here is a fix.

I just tested the CM TriDef. and it works, it's not great, but cleaner than the profile prototype nvidia. it's better than nothing until a patch. but I'll probably wait for a patch. The CM TriDef is less than nvidia., 3d effect is less striking.

I took a break from Risen 3. Spent some time on my dx11 wrapper.
Now returning I can't find the latest helixmod version on helixmod blog. The link is broken.
The version I did find won't load the game.
I've also tried my own dx9 wrapper but while the game loads the log remains empty.
Unless I manage to get Helix up and running any progress is stalled.
I knew that the wikispot was going to be closed at some point, so I pulled the links into wiki.bo3b.net. You can find the latest and all versions here:

Thank you bo3b.
Latest Helix mod works.
The folder structure is a bit messy but I blame the game.
This is my first attempt at a fix and it's not easy.
There is a halo issue inside the shadows.
I've found 5 shaders when disabled disables shadows along with the halo.
I'm not very comfortable with preshader blocks as well.
The game runs like normal broken when I override with unchanged shaders.
Anyway my head is spinning.
Attatching the minor progress.
Ah, preshaders. That can be kind of sticky, sometimes. In FEAR, the preshader is used to shift the sky, so removing the preshader made the dynamic sky static instead. No way to fix it that I could see.
In general, if you want to fix a shader with a preshader, you'll need to delete or comment out the preshader, because HelixMod doesn't support using it.
The preshader also suggests that's a SM2 shader, and it will need to be converted to SM3 before HelixMod can reassemble it. See DarkStarSwords python script, or Mana84 tool for auto-converting from 2 to 3.

There will be a 64 Bit update of the game on Friday with new effects apparently. Might actually be possible that they abandon DX9, so that we might use CM - fake 3D.
I couldn't find the news in EN, so here is a link to a German PC Mag: http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Risen-3-Titan-Lords-Spiel-54112/News/64-Bit-Patch-1168669/
