Unable to change convergence settings in Mass Effect 2
I played through Mass Effect 1 just fine in 3d because I was able to change my convergence settings, but for some reason in Mass Effect 2, I am unable to do so. If I can't change my convergence settings in-game, the game is pretty much unplayable in 3d. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm running x64 Windows 7 and have a GeForce 9800 GT.

I really wish that were the case :( I'd love to be playing this game in 3d right now. But just to double check, I got in the game again and held down the button for a long time. Absolutely nothing happens. I can still change my depth settings with control +F3/F4 however. I loaded up Mass Effect 1 again, and I can change convergence just fine. This appears to only be an issue in Mass Effect 2 for me.

I had the same problem ... I changed the hotkeys to ctrl+pgup and pgdown and now I can change convergence. The depth effect of the whole game is much more pleasing / correct when you bring shepard to right beyond screen depth. But the object indicators are foobar and go totally off screen when you do that, so that's a glitch in the game. I've decided to live with it for now. Hopefully this can be fixed with an official profile at some point.

I had the same problem.
just hold the ctrl+ f5 or f6 looooong time and then even longer and then some more..
it will work!

wtb a stereo profile for the game asap. getting too much ghosting, same as with Dirt 2.
im too lazy to spend hours tinkering with countless graphic settings to find out which are causing the side effects.

Ah ok, yeah I held it down for a very long time (an entire 60 seconds?), and eventually it started changing. But you're right, there is too much ghosting in this game, it looks terrible for me. I'll have to wait for a profile as well.

The LensFlare and convergence issues remains the only drawback. Hopefully fixed when profile is out...
