The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
@helifax: I was using about 95% depth. But I tried 60%, and it's almost as bad. I don't know why our experiences are so different (monitor size, eye span, sitting distance?), but I find Witcher Sense mode (and hence the game itself) virtually unplayable because of these reticles. I just measured them, and they are about 8-9cm apart, which is of course wider than my eye span, which explains why I can't focus on them. When they get close to the edges of the screen, they get even wider apart due to the fisheye effect. I did these measurements in 95% depth mode, but 60% isn't much better. Is it possible to make the reticles linked to the depth of all the other HUD elements? At the moment, pressing ~ doesn't affect them. Alternatively, could you please tell me how I can disable the reticles?
I'll have to double check that... Strange... It is possible they either weren't fixed before or they got broken with the new patches... I'll see what I can do about them;)

ok, cool. This is probably something I can figure out on my own. Let me know if you'd like me to do so. Though since this is a high-profile fix that already seems to have a lot of people working on it, it might be best left to you experts. BTW, if (God forbid) I decide I have to play this game in 2D, should I continue to use your modified profile? EDIT: Turning the convergence down pretty much solved the problem. I didn't think of this earlier because I normally have convergence set quite low. I guess it'd be nice to have the reticles tied with the rest of the HUD, but it's no big deal now, unless you like high convergence.

I recall hitting the double road when we did the original fix. If memory serves it was a decale shader - maybe this one: https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/commit/d016a9a68ff2651fa20c7ac80a8c576460ec5ed3

Every time I restart Windows I am getting that witcher`s profile back to the old one. I have to change it every time. Anybody had that on latest drivers ?

Holy crap... I think it's fixed in 358.87!!!!! It still doesn't look very *good*, but the white-out backgrounds are gone. I don't think I have the fixes installed currently. Will confirm and report back.

Oh I reported it too, linking to that thread I made for collecting all the information :) I wound up not doing the Windows 10 Preview Build thing, after reading their warning: "Do not do this on your primary computer", heh. Thank God I no longer have to, this driver fixed pretty much all my issues. SLI is at least partly working on my ROG Swift monitor in 3D now too (although the load distribution is not even, but a hell of a lot better than the 2nd card being effectively off like it was). If the monitor setting in control panel stops automatically flipping back to 3D Vision Discover all the time, 358.87 will probably be my driver for the rest of time.

That thread basically provided very little information. When you submit a bug report if you want the engineers to actually look at the issue you need to give A VERY DETAILED REPRODUCTION SCENARIO. Videos always help;) I say this as an engineer myself :) I would spent zero seconds on incomplete information with no reproduction scenario, of affected platforms, etc;) Saying X is broken equals zero;)
Also reporting in the Thread Feedback wasn't actually very helpful, as I posted there 10001 times;) and until I talked with a "certain" person NVIDIA wasn't even aware of the issue;)

Basically what I want to say is that if want to report a bug we need to do it mature with lots of information (a video showing when it was LAST working and when is broken + settings + OS + hardware) is also helpful;)

Reading walls of text, unless necessary, is pointless;)

In any case IS FIXED and that is WHAT MATTERS ^_^ :)

Wait are you saying that the 3D is now working on Windows 10?

YES! :)
Both Witcher 3 + Far Cry 4 are working in Windows 10 with HelixMod;)

OMG THANKS!

By the way, I do not get to post here a lot but big thanks to the 3D team. I followed this thread since it started.

And the results were outstanding. Keep it up!
