I will report 3D status/General Performance in this thread. I will also try to disable bad shaders. Anyone that wants to fix this better when it comes out I will buy it for them. EDIT 1) Latest WIP 3D Fix is located on Page 5, SGSRULES fixed shadows, and 4everAwake fixed everything else. The other things. AT THIS MOMENT I DO NOT BELIEVE IT WORKS WITH FAR. UNINSTALL FAR and install this if for now. I have tried using the older versions of 3dmigoto, as described by bo3b here. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/898318/ I am not an expert at this whoever, if someone wants to try to get this to work go ahead and let us know. Myself and MasterOtaku have not been able to get 3dmigoto to work with any of Kalaiden's Fixes though. - Shadows Fixed (Fixed by SGS Rules) - Fixed the yellow circle around the character (Fixed By 4everAwake) - Mostly fixed the main title screen (Fixed By 4everAwake) - Added a high convergence preset on the 'Caps Lock' key (Fixed By 4everAwake) - Disabled the distortion effect from the small pop-up screen (Fixed By 4everAwake) 2) Port is decent, there are a few annoying bugs listed below, there is some pop in. Performance I've found requires about the same setup as Witcher 3 despite looking quite a bit crappier. But I get 60 FPS @ 1440P with my setup. 2) There is a full screen bug for 1440p and 4K. This is a bug in the game, the mouse cursor also is present but can be moved offscreen quite easily. 3) On some PC's the cutscenes stutter. Attached is a link that shows how to fix that. http://steamcommunity.com/app/524220/discussions/0/135511913387741243/

That's good to hear. PS4 Reviews for this game have been very positive and Platinum games generally have really good gameplay mechanics, so I'm looking forward to it. Let's hope they handled the PC port well. I've got faith in them since the pc port for Metal Gear Rising ran flawlessly. BTW It's on sale for 49.99 at GMG: https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/nier-automata-day-one-edition/

First game was an underrated gem that's exclusive to consoles, played on X360. Will definitely play this one too, reviews are very good. Good luck with the fix.

I am a fan of the studio, their gameplay is always top notch, didn't realize this was one of their babies. I am one of those old school guys that would rather play an actual game than a movie you press some buttons too =)

Thanks Zig. I have tried it out so far here is what I ran into... First loading was unsuccessful. Small window box appeared and music but no visuals. I unplugged my 2nd monitor (4k tv) and turned off 3d vision. Rebooted and ran it again. This time it loaded and had logo and visual immediately upon the the window loading.. Was able to then go into settings and switch to full screen mode and 1440p resolution. Turned on 3d vision (left 4k tv unplugged) and was able to start and play the game. Shadows are broken (surprise! Can't disable them.. I really wish I could put a sticky on all game dev's foreheads - DISABLE shadows option PLEASE!!!) Otherwise game is going ok in 3d, shadows broken and a few other issues but if you try to ignore the shadows its playable.. I'm guessing a better profile or other fix could probably work/help.

I played the first 20 minutes of the game and it looks like an easy fix. So far the only issue is that shadows are drawn at screen depth, everything else looks perfect. That being said there is one major issue with the game itself, for some reason when you run it in fullscreen mode it defaults to some really low resolution like 1024x768 or maybe even lower, it seems like everyone is having this issue. If you run it in windowed mode it runs fine but then 3dvision doesn't kick in. I tried forcing fullscreen in 3dmigoto and forcing the resolution to 1440p but it still runs at low res. I'm going to tinker around with it a bit longer but I'm tempted to just play it in windowed mode becuase so far the game is a blast to play.

Hmmm... I haven't had any resolution issue - running at 1920x1080. Decided to give the AC 4 CM profile a try for a quick fix after seeing the broken shadows and it works quite well. First hour is great - wish they made use of an auto-save system to allow for shorter game sessions (couldn't save 'til near the end of the first hour), but minor quibble.
Shadows are broken (surprise! Can't disable them.. I'll take a look unless some fixer here has the game.

I managed to fix the issue with the fullscreen resolution. I switched my desktop res to 2560x1440 using DSR (I'm on a 720p projector) before entering the game and it let me run it at 2560x1440.

Is there any way to "pause" a game while hunting shaders? It's hard to hunt for them when some shaders like decals or explosions only show up for an instant, also having things attacking you makes things difficult.

Other than that there are some blood decals that are also at screen depth but i wasn't able to hunt those down since they're not that common and only pop up for a second. It'd be really help if i could pause the game for a second, when you do it draws a screen overlay which makes it impossible to hunt for shaders.
