I don't know where exactly to put this because there's so many options, and I don't know much about hardwares and such.
The one thing I do know is that I want to switch from intel to nvidia or equivalent. That's also what I don't know how to do, or if it's possible. (I'm sure anything is possible however..)
So I need somebody's help to explain this to me or guide me through the process or something.

If you really don't know one from the other, we need to get you educated. Let's see...
Maybe start at this site. It's a tad dated but not too bad.
Here's a GamesRadar article on how to get into PC Gaming: http://www.gamesradar.com/f/how-to-get-into-pc-gaming/a-2011071593153437020
Between those two, you should get enough terminology so you can google up whatever you need to know. Try to keep an eye on the dates of the articles because this technology changes fairly fast.
In this particular case you are going to want to pay particular attetion to video cards (of course) and power supplies - because getting a big, beefy video card when your computer doesn't have the power to run it is a whole lot of no fun.

You're in the 3D forum, but no mention of 3D in your post. What end result do you seek?
