I have asked CDPR yesterday about the broken shadows in 3D, until now no answer.
[/quote]
Please, everyone do the same.
Send them an email at tw2support@thewitcher.com, and send one to nvidia as well (anyone have that email address?).
Include 2 S3D screenshots (.jps), both inside and out. I am finding that the light sources inside aren't quite right either.
I attached my screenshots to this post.
I cannot believe this doesn't work. I cannot believe they tested this and allowed it through.
I am *hoping* it is simply designed to work with (and tested against) a new profile from Nvidia that is not yet released .... finger's crossed. If it's a game bug, we'll be waiting much longer.

I think we provided enough of a broad range of system and drivers to confirm that it is not something on our end...

Agreed - I submitted a trouble ticket on nvidia's support site. They've already begun collecting info from me.
Hey here's a thought - I don't have time to do this myself until much later today, but maybe we should all try messing with the driver settings in the control panel. Perhaps something in there will help ... but I am grasping at straws.
My global settings are attached in a screenshot ... the game is set to use global settings. Maybe the reason it works for CDPR's verification team is because they test against different driver settings. Long shot, but worth looking at.

Well, 3D Vision 'looked' good in 1.2, but ran with very poor frame rates. Now it runs with better frame rates in 1.3, but looks like a dog's breakfast thanks to the shadows. Argh.

They did fix 3D vision. The 3D vision bug was causing performance issues for 2D users. They fixed that bug. It totally hosed 3D worse than before in the process. But that is what they mean by fixed. They will never fix the shadows if I guess right. It is it is I guess. Gotta get that 360 version ready where all the real money is. Thanks PC gamers for funding our console game.

They claimed it was tested as completely problem free, not just the performance bug. Here's the direct quote:
