3d Vison Monitor Help!
Hi

I'm interested in buying Nvidia 3d Vision but I have AOC N20WB monitor and I'm not sure if it would work. I also have Nvidia 9600GT graphic card. Does anybody know if it is possible to play nvidia 3d vision on this monitor even if if its a wrong type of monitor?

Thanks for your help.

Come on mate, you found this forum presumably by yourself, surely you could find that there is no way this monitor will work with 3d vision. You'll need a 120hz monitor or projector for this. You can pick up the 3d kit and monitor for about £300 now. You'll probably want to upgrade your graphics card to at least a GTX260 too.

Hey I'm from Bristol too. Anyway i heard that there are some ways to get through the monitor requirements so I just wanted to make sure if anyone knows something besides it's quite expensive to pay 300£ for your monitor and then buy the glasses as well.

Ah a fellow bristolian. It was £300 for the monitor and glasses kit. I got mine from Novatech in Portishead. If you can afford it it is well worth it. I dont think there are any ways to get past the monitor requirements.

Its sounds like a good price but another thing that concerns me is my graphic card Nvidia Geforce 9600 i think it is alright I mean I can play the newest games without problems. Anyway do you think it's a good thing to buy nvidia 3d vision and whats your experience like?

9600 is pretty borderline for 3D.
I started with a GTX 260 and upgraded.
