Screen Dark Ever Since I Installed 3d Vision
Ever since I installed 3D Vision my screen has been dark when I'm not ingame, I've been able to fix this by starting a game and alt tabbing, but its kind of annoying to have a game running every time I want to use the computer.

Am I the only one having this problem? Or is this something common? I can't seem to find any info on this problem, if someone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated :).

My first gen 3D LCD monitor seems to have two modes. The default and ingame 3D Mode. Both have a very different brightness, with the default being normal and 3D Mode being too bright for normal viewing.

Does your monitor have a user setting? Could you increase the brightness there and get it to use that for default?

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Certain games, notably The Witcher 2, cause the screen to stay in "3d profile mode" even after exiting out of the game itself. This is usually corrected by simply opening up Internet Explorer, Firefox, or other web browser and the screen corrects itself... Easier than starting up a game again.

Yeah, I get this happening sometimes. Basically the monitor stays in 3D mode after the game is closed. What I usually do to fix it is turn off stereo 3D in the Nvidia settings, then change the resolution to something else. Wait a second and then change the resolution back to what it was. This usually fixes it.
