Install driver using device manager. Choose update driver, and choose browse to locate driver and install.

Q: Why do you want to use ANY part of the 196.21 driver set? That set is borked! No OC functions and some other issues. 196.34 is the way to go. Just use them.

No problem,

It seems like a lot of people don't know about them, I am actually surprised how many people are using the 196.21's. Most people will blame NV's drivers for every little issue they have, and normally the drivers are just fine. However, the one time that there ACTUALLY is an issue with a driver set, more people are using them than the set that came out only a few days after the 196.21's.

The only difference is that when most people search for drivers they just use the default search box which only looks for the latest "MS WHQL Certified Driver" ,for all the good that does. If you look below that there is a link to "Beta and Archived drivers" click on it and you still use the drop down boxes to selet your OS, Card type/family etc.

When the search is finished, it brings up the latest beta AND WHQL drivers on the top of the list and then after them are MANY of the drivers that came previously.

Also, you can check GURU3D.com's Download section and they have all the drivers ever made for every OS.

lol yeah that was my entire point...the 196.21 look like hell on almost every game i play, and 196.34 arent compatible with 3dvision... what driver combos do you guys use for 3dvision?
I'm also using 64 bit OS and even with UAC disabled, it's still a bit** to get unsigned drivers to install :(

I think we will unfortunately have to wait for the next Full Driver CD to come out. With the work being done on the DLP detection and other SLI flaws I'm hoping this comes very soon. Andrew has already said they have a beta of the drivers and he is working at pushing through the update but who knows how long we'll have to wait.
