How do you change the filter colours for Discover?
  2 / 2
Thanks for the tip! The iz3D drivers work well. There is quite a lot of ghosting but it is playable.

My mate looked for nVidia Discover glasses and couldnt find any in the UK. The ones he got were suppost to be good ones (if there is such a thing).

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I have the 258.96 drivers on my new pc and the color-changing-trick still works.

Only the location in the registry has changed from vista32 to win7 64.
There is now a folder "Wow6432Node" with the Nvidia-Stereo-settings inside.

You need to make a reg-file like this for Magenta-Green:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D]
"LeftAnaglyphFilter"=dword:ffffff00
"RightAnaglyphFilter"=dword:ff0000ff
"StereoAnaglyphType"=dword:00000000
-Start your game and run till 3D content is visible.
-Switch to desktop with ALT + TAB
-Change the registry-settings (with the *.reg file)
-Switch back to game.

How do you make a reg file?

I have gone into the reg countless times and found those keys, changed them, gone back into game, but nothing changes. :(

edit

Tried another game and it seems to work. But only using those pairs of colours! I wonder if my blue lense is just letting too much red (or magenta) light in.

Copy the text in the codebox into the textfile and save. Then rename the file to discover.reg. If file-extensions aren't showned you need to setup windows to show filextensions because big brotherish winteam doesn't think we need this.
Doubleclick the reg-file and choose yes on question to add to registry.
Done!

You make a ordinary text-file with the lines above and rename it from *.txt to *.reg.

Then you only need to make a double-click on this file to apply the reg-changes.

I did this before when I was using 3D vision discovery.

Please keep in mind that the way the driver is set up it will always make sure the lens' are completely opposite colours (or at least it did when I was doing this).

So if one lens is fine, and the other not, you will still need to change both of them to get it to work...
