Hello, I usually have in my computer games that I play in 3D, and others in 2D because compatibility or because the design of the game is for play in 2D. I have the Samsung 2233rz monitor, and when playing a 2D game the monitor do not know and automatically put the magicbrigt in the full bright, and of course it causes a lot of pain and worse image quality. The only way is to disable stereoscopic 3D in "Set up stereoscopic 3D" in Nvidia CP.
I ask if it is possible to include an option in the "Manage 3D settings" of the Nvidia CP, to make possible to add this feature option in "Program Settings".
And another thing:
It is strange that there is no way to modify gamma when playing a 3D game (only playing with picture options of the game), because Nvidia forgot the old crtl+g and alt+g shortcuts included in old Nvidia stereo drivers. Also there is no color feature to include with Program Settings profiles, and also it it is not possible to install Nview for Windows 7 users. Is there any program to modify "IN THE AIR" the picture settings (gamma, colors, brightness, etc)? I know enbseries can do something of that, but is not really what I am looking for, and do not works very well with a lot of games.
And the last: please Nvidia, make Nvidia CP more "readable", there is a lot of big blank space not usefull and I have to scroll a lot to read simple things. Also revise the Manage 3D settings because customize programs are not showed in "Show only settings for this computer" when previously I "Add". And also it is impossible to quit some of them that, like "Microsoft sidebar" that I do not need to see.

I have a task manager always loaded up so i can stop and start the stereoscopic service from there. I've been trying to find a means to control the service via a script without running it as admin/uac prompting with no success so far.

Guys its so easy, go to start-------->all programs-------->nvidia-------->3d vision then move the enable and disable buttons down to your taskbar for a quick access. Before you load a game switch to whatever suits your needs!!

Sometimes you forget and enter a game and loose time. Yes, it is easy to change, but with an option in profile would be better. Also this "problem" would not exist if would be possible to select the magigbright in the monitor when 3d is on (somepeople, like me, prefer better dark colors in specific dark games, and not always full bright).

I've made many of these suggestions and feedback in this thread here, it wouldn't hurt to have more people request them as ManuelG has stated they will prioritize the features more people ask for. Unfortunately the R256-258 drivers did not do much for improving the NVCP and driver interface for 3D Vision users, however, I must say I have been very pleased with the frequency and consistency of updates for the S3D CD kit in relation to GeForce driver updates. http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=167749
As for a fast way to enable/disable S3D, I send the two icons in the Startup menu to the desktop which is much faster than opening up the NVCP each time.
