Why isn't anyone talking about the newest 3d ready game, Dead Rising 2?
2 / 7
Got Fifa 11 and dead rising 2 pre-ordered, but downloaded dead rising 2 to play in the mean time, trying to keep of the story and just experiment about, love the fifa 11 demo in 3d, unfortunatly the name bars and map go a bit off when used with 100% depth and the convergence setting i like, looks great though, especially when fissing a cross across the goals.
It is a really fun game (much to my surprise) and it is 3d ready (even though nV's assessment calls it not recommended).
It has some of the best implemented automatic convergence I have seen yet and the only problem is some ghosting due to the contrasting colors and graphics and the tags and labels don't look as good at high depth since they tend to stick to the "surface" of the screen and not go deep enough.
Other than that though, it is nigh perfect and a hell of a lot of fun to play. Certainly a game that most 3d vision users should pick up.
Anyone else have some thoughts on Dead Rising 2?
You're right, it does look amazing. Probably at the top of my 3D list already. Definitely worth the purchase. But... are you getting decent performance out of it in 3d? In 2D, I can run it at 1920x1200, 4xAA, all other settings settings at max w/ blur on, and I get 60fps most of the time with some dips here and there. When I switch to 3d though, at 1680 x 1050 on my samsung monitor, I get frames in the teens in the mall. Even @ 1280x720p on my 3D TV with lower settings it's just as bad. Turning off SLI makes it a little better, but still not what I'd consider playable. That's with 2 480's and an i7 at 3.7GHz!

Your not the only one, same thing with me at the moment, i do think the sli performance on these drivers for 3dtv play are not working as they should be, it seems my 3d games all work better without sli with these drivers.

Well good to know I'm not alone, thanks for the confirmation. I'm hoping official drivers will offer a nice boost at least.
