Benq MS510 & 3D Vision Got it offered for €200 as a 3D projector
Hey guys, I've got some questions about the Benq ms510. http://www.benq.com/products/product_detail.cfm?product=1693&pltag=35&ptag=260
I'm not really into projectors so I'm a bit confused by the information I sought.
My primary question is does it work with 3D vision? It has a hdmi 1.3 input.
It says the native resolution is 800x600 SVGA, computer compatibility VGA(640 x 480) to UXGA(1600 x 1200) & HDTV compatibility 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p.
Since I have a single 470 I always play at 1280x800, can it project it at 1280x800 or is everything downscaled to 800x600? I use the DVI to HDMI converter that came along the 470.

I have that projector running on my system. Here is how:
Connect your computer to CRT VGA monitor that is able to run 120hz. Right click on the desktop and select SCREEN RESOLUTION. Click IDENTIFY and wait. Once it registers the monitor click on advanced settings, go to the MONITOR tab and pick 120hz for the screen refresh rate. Now swap the cable to the BENQ. You will only be able to run 3D in 1024x768 mode and you have to wear the glasses upside down, but the 3D is fine.
I believe NVIDIA could support the projector fairly easily. Every time I reboot my computer I have to do this procedure. Not the end of the world, but annoying. Upside down glasses are a little annoying too.. once again.. easy fix if they care to.
