3D possible with Toshiba MT 100 (=Infocus X1) projector?
Hello from Germany,

i need your help.... I own a Toshiba MT100 projector, which is the same as the Infocus X1. Now I read in this forum, that it's possible to get 3D running with the nvidia glasses. I also read something about a vesa sync cable, but there wasn't any with my glasses (EUROPE!). There was a sync/delay hardware mentioned, but it seems, that it is no longer produced.. I also read, that some Nvidia drivers work, but some not.... So, i'm aliitle bit confused...please, can you help with some questions?

1) Is 3d possible with the Toshiba MT100 (Infocus X1)? What quality?
2) What kind of cable do I need? Do I need a special cable at all?? (just to see, that it is working in ANY way)?
3) Do I need a special hardware to see the effect in a meant-to-be-seen way (without turning around the glasses or similar things, sync problems etc....)? If yes, where can I get the hardware ?
4) Which driver works (best)? Which not?

Thanks for your help!

Gunnar

PS: If nvidia would be half as interested in the Geforce 3D as the users in this forum..... that would be a dream ;-)

The Infocus X1 I think was capable to work in stereoscopic 3D up to 85Hz as far as I recall, but this brings some flicker. If the toshiba has the same hardware it is possible that it could also work the same way...
