3d vision on a mitsubishi 60 inch is fantastic. i have played spore and bioshock which look excellent. does anyone know which 3d pong is listed in compatible games? a link please?
after using 3d vision for two days i can say that i have no headaches or eyestrain. when i was messing with setting and adjusted the depth to 100 percent and played for a while i felt some eyestrain but back it down to aprox 75 percent and i can go for hours. i read what someone else said about the shutters not going completely black when you press the power button down and that does happen but when i set something for the left eye only and tried to see it through the right lens i was unable to no matter what angle i held the glasses(ie with them off my face turned so the lenses are almost vertical). this leads me to believe that the shutters are doing the job of blocking the light for that fraction of a second even if they are unable to hold that same opacity(opaqueness?) continuously. there is an ever so slight tinge of red when watching an all white background(in katana for example). i sit fairly close. about 5 feet, and the glasses still have left over feild of view on the edges so no complaints there. i had to update the firmware on my mitsubishi even though i only purchased it two months ago but it was not difficult and went smoothly. one of the best experiences i have had was in spore, when i gave my creature level 5 glide and level 4 jump and would fly around the stone structures with the holes in them. i was thinking that 3d pong could quite possibly be the best application to use 3d vision on the novint falcon at the same time. you can move your paddle in 3d space and feel the recoil when the ball hits it. sometimes simple games are where its at and 3d vision could use a killer game (snake on a nokia).
edit: as i progressed further in bioshock i noticed that shadows are messed up but certain things like the levers on the machines look really great
