I got an ASUS VG248QE monitor about a month ago, and just today got my GTX 970 and 3d Vision kit. I went through the setup and everything was fine. I could see the different shapes in each eye, I could see the hovering QR code looking thing, and when I run the test video from the control panel it looks great. However, when I try to actually do anything in else 3d I get the big red error message: "Warning: attempt to run Stereoscopic in non-stereo display mode, please change to a acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes"
I'm using a dual DVI cable, and I can't find anything in the monitor settings or any drivers I haven't installed or updated. I only have the one monitor hooked up, It seems like the glasses aren't shuttering properly, when I use the included preview pack everything looks the same whether I have the glasses on or not. I found some photos on http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/ that look sort of ok, but the different images aren't completely aligned so it looks a bit blurry, and I still have the big red error message. Any ideas for how I can fix this?
EDIT: I realized that Just Cause 2 supports 3d and tried that, it actually worked just fine there, but I still can't get it working for anything else. It seems like I might have something running or installed that conflicts with it since it works when something has full control of the display, but I have no idea what it could be.

When do you not give full control. ctrl+v in photo viewer = fullscreen.
What browser are you using. Internet Explorer has been working nice for me.
You mention blurry which gives me the impression that the glasses don't sync with the monitor.
Basically both eyes recieve both images. I assume the glasses are on.
Have you tried other games.
Thanks, finally figured it out. I switched over from ATI and thought I had uninstalled everything but apparently not. It still didn't work after removing it, but once I uninstalled and reinstalled the NVIDIA 3d drivers it started working.
