what to buy? a 470 or a 480 for 3d going from a gtx260
so, i decided i am going to upgrade my cpu and gpu, and as i am a 3d zealot it has to be nvidia.
but as for the choice, a 470 or a 480... i dont know.

there is a 150USD price difference, AFTER the initial 350USD purchase.
have many people tried them, which one should i use, where shuld i buy from ? what manufacturer is the one to buy?

If you can afford it go for the 480 mate...it is a beast. Even though I had a 295 I will love my new 480.

i noticed you your computer description says "*Video Cards:XFX GTS250 Physx card & Evga GTX 480 (850/2000)"
i thought with nvidia graphics cards you can only have 2, 3, or 4 of the same cards on a motherboard.

So i ordered a new pc with a evga 480 GTx card. and i have an extra evga 275 phyx co op card. Could i combine that card with the 480 GTX to make an evewn crazier monter?

You can use the 275 co-op as a dedicated physx card but that would be a waste of half of the card since the 275 portion is not sli-able with the 480.You must also have an available pcie x16 slot and a compatible power supply.
