With all the current negativity towards 3D generated by dimly projected theaters, theaters with shockingly low motion resolution, 2D->3D conversions having almost no spatial depth and many 3D movies in general not having a high amount of depth, I thought it would be a good idea to post reactions to the realistic 3D we see using games (and hopefully one day will see in movies). It seems like general promotion, but its more of a public service announcement for people interested in more immersive experiences amid the sometimes flurry of anti-3D comments. So if you run across a comment you'd like to quote or have an insightful comment yourself, post it here!
A couple of console gamers after modifying their TV size values giving them more spatial depth:
Holy crap, this is really, really good 3D! There's not a snowball's chance in hell 2D could compare to this. As far as crosstalk is concerned, I haven't seen it, even in the cutscenes. Seriously, if this is a sign of things to come, I am sooo glad I'm a gamer.
Link
There's no going back to 2D when it is done so amazingly well like in this game. WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!
Replayability factor is increased greatly for games and movies.
Toyfication makes me giddy for some odd reason.

For me, the biggest thing is detail. It's all about detail. I love great game environments, and in 3d every little detail is made known. Stuff you're not even aware of in 2d. Gamers who've never seen 3d do not even know those little extra polys are there!
