Is time to ask nvidia to support nvidia 3d vision on their new BIG monitor
All we have an opportunity to remember nvidia 3D is not something that we will forget anytime. Let's ask for include 3d vision support on their new Big Format screens presentation page:
https://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/bfgd-big-format-gaming-display
I did it. As more people asking for that more nvidia will think that 3d users will never stop asking for products supporting 3D, ever.
My oppinion is that Nvidia is just maintaining current levels of 3D Vision functionality hand that has been fixed for years.
Just got me a forth pair of glasses for my dual computer setup.
Been into Forza for a while and DX12 just plainly crashes if 3D is on.
If DX12 3D Vision is possible in DirectX 12 that would have been something new.
In the end don't hold your breath.

You mean send an e-mail to them ? I would really like to see some updates on 3dvision/3dtv play but i guess this has been asked by many people many times, anyways It does not hurt to try...
I think the opportunity is VR, maybe If they do something about It, we can benefit maybe.

These are OLED panels right? I thought 3Dvision tech only works on TN.
Sadly I think you might be dreaming.

If it comes it would be the biggest event for 3D Vision in a really long time.
I thought it was said that anything that supports G-Sync inherently will be detected as a 3D Vision Ready
It was I, that said that. But, I never said that it's a 100% given that G-Sync = 3D Vision support. It was in relation to a PM that I received from an Nvidia employee.
Im just assuming here with no actual data, but Gsync/3DV go hand in hand now, so anything that supports Gsync natively supports 3DV, so i wouldnt be worried just yet.
You can see that he states, that it is an assumption on his part.

This article has an updated list of current monitors with G-Sync.
It is recommended to confirm 3D Vision support prior to purchasing any display.
https://pcmonitors.info/others/nvidia-g-sync-variable-refresh-rate-technology/
(on bottom of page)
So on the list above is also, these HDR Displays with G-Sync.
Acer X27 (27″ 3840×2160, 144Hz ‘IPS’)
Acer Predator BFGD (65″ ‘BFGD’ 3840×2160, 120Hz)
Acer X35 (35″ 3440×1440, 200Hz VA?)
AOC AG273UG (27″ UHD, 144Hz ‘IPS’)
AOC AG353UCQ (35″, 3440×1440, 200Hz VA)
