Starcraft 2 didnt work
  4 / 5
Well I downloaded and installed the latest drivers but now 3d doesn't work in SC2 at all. Before it would be all kinds of jacked up but at least still attempt to display in 3d, now I can't turn 3d on at all. When I press the button on the USB emitter nothing happens. The game rating is not displayed on startup either. Other games still work fine in 3d, and I can see the profile in the list of game profiles, but absolutely nothing happens in SC2 with these new drivers. Any thoughts??

Well i did installed new driver 258.96 and StarCraft II work good in stereoscopic 3D with me.. using laptop with 2 gtx285m in sli and 60" misthubishi... Me and friends, we all find cutscene very nice and gameplay well done in 3D... depth have to be lower but its the way they made it(they control the gameplay depth this way). all my graphic are set at high exept lightning at medium (high make some reflection). Wonder if some1 can second me!!!

So, is it cool? Does it make it unplayable if you are trying to be competitive?

Any thoughts or comparisons to 2d version? What do you notice the most or what stands out to you as being "cool"?

So I have the 1.34 Beta Drivers and I still cant get the 3D to work properly, the cutscenes and menu look fine in the 3D now but the game still renders in 2D which is very frustrating

Idk if I would try and play competitively online with it, there's the performance hit and while everything does line up if you configure it correctly, its similar to FPS where you will always be a little more distracted imo in 3D. As for what's cool, its a much more immersive experience similar to any isometric top-down game in 3D. Icons look like little chess pieces, the animations look more detailed and fine-crafted, everything just really comes alive. I played through the "Hero" mission near the end by choosing the Worms and it was really engrossing just focusing on the 3 hero units.

Can you post a screenshot of the combat screens? The menus and cut-scenes and the in-game portions are not focused correctly or consistently, meaning you have to adjust convergence between transitions. If you check the screenshots I posted on the last page, does it not look like that?

Well for me, 3D works fine. Sure, it's messy but you gotta adjust your settings.
I decrease the depth to minimum possible and then decrease the convergence by pressing Ctrl+F5 since by default there is too much convergence that makes 2 images clearly distinct. Once you are set, the cut scenes are great and there is a lot of popup. I will upload pics tonight.
However during game play, 3D is below average.
