Will 3D Vision play Field Sequential movies? Will Shutter glass 3D DVDs play?
Folks....

Will 3D Vision play Field Sequential 3D DVDs? I have 3D DVDs that play well on my TV, but want to move them to my computer. Field Sequential is also called shutter glass 3D technology.

Will 3D Vision support this 3D technology?

Thanks in advance.

I think it will, because it's the same technology

The problem is that for the moment, there are not many films in sequential field format (much more in anaglyph !)
What DVDs do you have ?

Yes, you just need to download the free Nvidia Stereoscopic Player or use other software that supports Field Sequential movies playback on 3D Vision.

Thanks everyone for the help. I wish the 3D Vision manual would address playing Field Sequential (shutter glass) DVDs. I am not a gamer and just want to watch 3D movies. This is a big market and Nvidia would do well to support us with a litle bit of documentation. Yo! Nvidia - this will put money in your pocket! How about just one paragraph in the manual?

I own the following 3D Field Sequential DVDs:

Dial M for Murder (Hitchbum)
Space Hunter - Adventures in the Forbidden Zone
It came from Outer Space
3 Stooges shorts (Spooks plus Pardon my Backfire) and 5 more non stooge shorts

Here is one list of field sequential DVDs from Amazon:

almost 40 titles and more are coming out all the time.

If anyone here is running 3D Vision and is viewing Field Sequential DVDs, please post or drop me a line
so we can compare notes.

Lets get this set up and write a short FAQ Nvida can post here for others.

Thanks again everyone!
