How to watch 3d movies at 144hz with Nvidia 3d vision player?
I have a 144hz monitor that is nvidia 3d vision compatible, but when I watch 3d movies using Nvidia 3d vision player it always goes int0 120hz refresh rate instead of 144hz?

Officially, 3D Vision only works at 100Hz and 120Hz. If what you want is using an exact multiple of 24Hz to avoid judder, you can do some workarounds depending on what monitor you have. 1- Use ReClock to speed videos up to 25fps, and use 100Hz. 2- Use SVP to interpolate frames to 60fps or 50fps (depending on the refresh rate you want to use). 3- If your monitor has a strobing technique that can work at any refresh rate, like ULMB or blur reduction in the BenQ Z series, create a 96Hz custom resolution and disable the Nvidia red warning (by modifying some Nvidia dlls. Ask about this if you have a monitor that can do all this). If you have a 240Hz G-Sync monitor, you will also have 144Hz ULMB available. Eyes will be swapped. ULMB and other blur reduction modes have worse crosstalk than Lightboost, so options 1 and 2 are better for image quality.

Thank you, I went with the SVP option and I'm very impressed! I was able to get my 3d movies up 120fps in some cases! Here's what I ended up doing: 1. I first installed this stereoscopic 3d player: www.3dtv.at/Downloads ... For anyone wondering, you need to install this in order to get SVP working properly, TRUST ME. 2. Then I followed the instructions in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iqJeC6XvG8 ... The above youtube video let me get my NVIDIA 3d Vision Player updated from the old version of 1.7.5 to 2.4.3 of the Stereoscopic player. For anyone confused by this, NVIDIA 3d Vision player is actually a licensed version of the stereoscopic 3d player that I linked in step 1 (from 3dtv), that is why you need to install it. FOLLOW the instructions in the youtube link after installing the free version of stereoscopic 3d player from 3dtv. 3. Now download the latest version of SVP, the free version: https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Download and install it with default settings. 4. Then run the SVP free manager program from your start menu. 5. Start your NVIDIA 3d vision player (which should be updated from 1.7.5 to 2.4.3 or newer if you see this post years from now, via the youtube video I linked) 6. Follow the instructions here: https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/SVP:Stereoscopic_Player .. to set up your nvidia 3d vision player v 2.4.3 or above for use with SVP. The above process is actually very simple, just make some coffee, go slow and it's easy. ENJOY. SVP IS AMAZING. I'm watching the hobbit at 120fps in nvidia 3d vision player, lol. THIS WORKS, JUST DO WHAT I SAID. FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS, YOU WON'T REGRET IT.
