well just don't buy it then. tired of all the complaining.

if you don't like it the way it is at the moment, go ahead and invest in a projector or a DLP solution. we all know there will be ghosting.. just the fact of the LCD display and technology as it stands today. In the future when they change the way these monitors are made we may be able to get a better viewing solution.

Looks great GitDat, but what you gonna do when you need printer paper ;) .

Please let us know some of your opinions on how it runs, how the drivers are handling that set-up, and also what you think it's like in 3D [if you get the chance].

Ghosting is very mininal on this monitor. I have been using it for 3 days and all I can say is that 3DVision is an amazing technology.
Playing CODMW2 campaign using this monitor in 3D is much much better than playing it on my 30" dell2008 at 2560x1600!
I urge you to play this game with xbox controller (via pinnacle profiler) and using cheathappens cheats to allow slow motion on demand.
This allows for a cinematic replay of the game which is almost unbelievable in 3D.

Nvidia should work to help game developers use visual effects (post-processing, shadow methods etc) that are true 3D and therefore do not break the stereoscopic effect.
This is not a fad.
It is the future of gaming.
Once you see it you will agree.

Well I had one in my checkout cart at Newegg but cancelled the order. I am waiting to see how a LED-backlit one looks and performs, even if that means late in the year.

Nice! Have you used that site before? How are their prices when compared to other online places?

EDIT: Just noticed they have the Optoma HD66 at $726, significantly higher than other places online.

[quote name='msm903' post='995187' date='Feb 4 2010, 01:41 PM']so this is why I can't even get one of these monitors because some ppl decided to get all 3 at once.

yeah, apparently he does not realize that half the people on this forum hate him :D or maybe I should just speak for myself.

Speaking the truth it's not his fault though. You guys should be happy you don't live in Europe. Most e-shops here don't even have it listed, and of those who have, the vast majority don't have a clue about ETA. You'd think we're waiting for a teleporting or cloning device, not a f... monitor!

hehe, I know ;) That's why I cancelled the pre-order I had placed with overclockers.co.uk and ordered from dabs. Their ETA just changed from 1-2 days to 3-4 days and now I got a mesaage saying it changed again. Either way, it might be mid Feb before it hits my door. Or worse...
Thanks for the info, anyway :)

Speaking of UPS, isn't Fedex the fastest carrier in the US?
