New Glasses And I thought I was confused before...
So, my glasses have died and I thought I'd upgrade to the new MK2 set, however I'm getting a fair bit of white noise when trying to search through Amazon:

The full MK2 set would be these:
2 Wireless Glasses Kit with Emitter
and/or these:
NEW 3D Vision 2 extra glasses (Video & Sound Cards)

As I still have a (probably) functioning emitter I can just order the glasses
Nvidia 3D Vision 2 Wireless Glasses Extra Pair

There were however a couple of items that came up and take quite a bit of searching to confirm are not MK2 kits, even if I search for the model number for the MK2 kit or glasses (942-11431-0007-001 / 942-11431-0003-001) these still came up:
nVidia Corp Special Edition 3D Vision Kit Including Free Duke Nukem Game
nVidia 942-10701-0007-001 GeForce 3D Stereo Glasses Kit

Pity I'm not in the US, Newegg was so much easier to search.... /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

And Amazon don't ship these internationally either.... :(

I'd love to know why....

There are better 3rd party glasses available, are you using a 3D Vision display? If not, get something you can use with other hardware also.

The Nukem set has the longer life batterry, 60 instead of 40hrs.

What does MK2 refer to??

What glasses do you have?

What Display?

Not all glasses will work with all Displays!

Better 3rd party glasses you say, interesting.... :)

I had been using MK2 to refer to the newer 3D Vision 2 glasses released recently.

I have the Samsung SyncMaster 2233 which has been working just fine with a 3D Vision kit purchased two weeks under two years ago. I had planned to purchase the 3D Vision 2 Wireless Glasses or kit as a replacement and upgrade, however I seem to be running up against some policy that prohibits international (ie: outside the US) sale by Amazon, Newegg and even the nVidia store.

Frankly I'm getting quite frustrated, I have a two week christmas break coming in which I pretty much planned to live inside Skyrim... /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
Right now that isn't looking so good.

I was mostly refering to 3rd party glasses for 3D HDTVs or Projectors. The Nvidia 3D Glasses are worthless when using one of them with a PS3 or Standalone 3D Blu-ray player.

There are 3rd party/aftrmkt glasses that will work off the sync signal of the Nvidia emitter, but I'm unsure if they are any good at all. I never bothered to read reviews on them.

Doesn't Nvidia have a European website store? you could also get the usb wired glasses, if you think your emitter is bad.

Also, look at this thread ---> http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=216882

hehe, that was me in that thread... /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

The European site doesn't seem to sell direct, It just directs you to other online resellers (Amazon.co.uk etc).

I'll call some of the NZ suppliers in the morning, maybe call in some favors, being an account manager in the countries largest computer retailer has to have some perks.... /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
