The image in the one of the frames is totally messed up, almost completely dark and that is what makes the weird feel when you are in stereo 3D mode...
And it isn't a matter of high/low detail levels or turning on/off different effects, even changing convergence does not improve the situation?!

I got it to work fine the first time in the demo and then experienced the same issue on the second time. For me I am getting bad flickering on the left side of my glasses that is causing the problems. This is with the latest drivers that were released.

I've installed the 196.75 3D Vision drivers, they do have a profile for the game, but then again the same issue as on the screenshot above is still there.
While playing with the drivers I've noticed what is causing it and it seems to be an SLI issue... with SLI disabled it is working just fine, but with it enabled one of the frames is dark like on the attached screenshot above. With SLI disabled the game looks great in stereo 3D, the only issue is the presence of some ghosting with higher depth levels, but that is to be expected.

Works just peachy with the driver combo for me. I don't have SLI though. :D really really nice game though the performance is hit rather harshly in 3d :(

I can confirm that this is a SLI issue. Once I disabled SLI with my GTX295 the problem went away. Of course now my frame rates took a serious nosedive. Hopefully there is a simple fix for this that will be in the retail game. Pretty fun game though I must say.

I'm back to 1.20 (196.21) with not profile for the game, it still looks good, maybe just a little convergence tweaking is needed and that is what is done in the new 3D Vision driver profile, with SLI disabled, but when I enable SLI the problem is there again...

I posted a thread on the Just Cause 2 Eidos forum in the PC section about this SLI 3D Vision problem. Hopefully someone at Eidos will actually read it.

Will report back with findings if I get a chance to play it before I have to go to work ! :(

Interestingly, you can adjust the depth and convergence which you couldn't do in RE5.
