Anyone having no issues whatsoever with GeForce 3D? Here's my experience with GeForce 3D Vision
Hi guys,
Ok, so I finally hooked up everything and installed Vista 64bit, all drivers and a number of games...old n new to test my 3D Vision system. I've checked every game that I've installed very carefully for anything that can be distracting such as ghosting, flickering, bugs, frame rates and other issues....so far I haven't found a single thing to complain about. I can tell I'm very picky when I test my new hardware. I've been reading here people complaining about ghosting with certain games that I have installed too, flickering and other issues, and honestly I was freaked out before I check it out myself...especially ghosting in bright areas, but not with my setup. I play all of these games (check the list below) with all settings maxed out, except Crysis and FSX. These two games require graphics cards that are due to be released in the year 2145 lol. But if I turn down the settings just slightly, the 3D is excellent. I also use TrackIR 4Pro and the entire setup works amazing.
The only thing that I've noticed and it doesn't bother me at all is the laser sight bug in Vista 64bit. Maybe Andrew can help me out with that, but I know it's a driver issue and the team is working hard to fix it in the future release. Andrew, can u shed some light on the progress to fix that bug? The support in nVidia community is excellent....keep it up guys. I opened this thread to give some positive feedback, coz all people here are complaining about thier issues. Honestly, I believe that nVidia deserves some pure positive feedback for thier hard work. There should be some poll or thread to hear people expressing thier flawless experience.
Here are the games I've installed and tested:

Yes. With my old video card (8800 GTS) everything looks wonderful and I played with it for many hours. Warhammer Online and World of Warcraft look great. Everquest 2 isn't compatible, strangely the UI is the only thing in 3d...
When I put my GTX 295 in though things don't work well at all. In fact I consider it unplayable. For the weekend I'm using my 8800 and my GTX 295 is sitting on my desk.
The positive thing in that statement is I'd rather play with a slow framerate in 3D than with a fast framerate without it.

I got everything working today. I am now having no issues whatsoever with the GTX 295. I've tried World of Warcraft, Gears of War and Warhammer Online. I played for hours today without a single flicker.
I then tried for hours to reproduce the original problem but sadly can't and am unable to say what "fixed" it.

At this point we can reproduce the issue in-house and will be working on a fix.

Was there any ghosting at all when you were using your 8800 GTS? even with wow?
Also i have a 8800 GTX would that have the same compatability as the 8800GTS?

Hi Guys
I think we are going to do some more testing.
What OS are you using?

At this point we can reproduce the issue in-house and will be working on a fix.
