What .inf file do i have to install (the Acer or zalmann ?) Do i have the choice after i have the edid override installed to switch between the original .inf file and the newly installed .inf file? THX for answering....

As your Tv is for sure active, zalman edid is not ok for you. If your tv does not support 120hz at 1080p you will be stuck with 720p for gaming LE: or checkerboard if available as D-man sudgested.

It's possible that your Samsung might support Checkerboard, only certain models do though. Look in your owner's manual, they call it "pixel mode", follow the instructions if it's listed.

As said sory by i am new to this and want to understand how to have a 3d game play @1920x1080@60hz so i came along and found the edid override. i learned that you dont need 3dtv play (limited to24HZ) and by using nvidia 3d vision your got the 60hz by using the nvidia googles that come with the 3d vision kit. pls correct me if iam wrong. If you install 3DTV play you can use the sixth item in 3D menu which is pixel mode and you must reverse the eye order. All an EDID is doing telling Windows this is monitor connected to your computer regardless of monitor or TV make Example I have my Samsung UN55HU9000 3DTV connect via hdmi and windows thinks it a ACER 3D monitor. Roll back just reinstall the NVidia Drivers

That sounds like what you're suggesting but I've never had to use an override for that option. If you are really able to get frame sequential 1080p 60hz 3D, that's a revelation to me. I'd definitely have to try it out:)

It basically the same HDMI checkerboard but you don't have to purchase 3DTV play. The reason I use this over HDMI checkerboard is eye order has to be reversed when using HDMI checkerboard on my UN46C7000 I must reverse the eye order in the menu and it doesn't save.

Just checked my tv. The option in the menue are: 3d and 2d to 3d and i can change side by side or top botton thats it. So i guess my tv is not able to handle the edid hack because of mising features. Yes i play with 3dtv play the resolution set in nvidia panel are 1920X1080@24 hz. Thats the problem the framerates for playing games are too low. 24hz per eye . If i can get 60 hz means 30hz per eye and thats a huge difference for playing games. I thought with the edid hack you get 60 hz per eye and that wold be fantastic.
