Don't bother with a tiny 27", get a full sized HDTV, especially for 3D. If you look at the cost vs size, you'll see HDTVs are a much better value.

27" monitors are true 1080p@120hz (60fps/eye) and will have native 3Dvision support, not HDTVs.

3D TVs for 3D gaming is a joke (even with 3DTVPlay)...Just my point of view.

HDTVs are 1920x1080 per frame, 60 frames per second, native resolution. That's why checkerboard is virtually indistinguishable from frame packing.

Samsung HDTVs have always had 3D Vision support.

Why 'upgrade' from a 55" display to a 27" display? Go all the way to a gameboy, better still.

This news to me about samsung. I dont think they can use 3d vision only 3d tv play also they do 1080i not 1080p. Personally I'm a fan of projectors.

You are utterly wrong. All release of drivers work perfectly with 3D Vision/Samsung 3DTVs, 1080P (not 1080i), 1920x1080/60 per frame native res. 3D. Whoever told you otherwise did you a great diservice.

@roller11: OK so I have a Samsung plasma C7700 (C8000 in US) and a 3Dvision kit. Could you explain to me how I can run my games in 1080p/3D with 3DVision (and not 3DTVPlay)?

Replace your generic PnP monitor.inf file with rollermod.inf (attached). Reboot and you will see the three 3D Vision chioces under control panel. PM me if you need further assistance.

How do you connect your samsung 3d tv to your PC? Based on my knowledge, HDMI does not support 1080p @ 120hz display mode. That's why bluray 3D can only do 24 frames per second.
