Yes, I know why that happens;)
Nvidia f@cked up their profile;) The profile is now meant to work with 3D Vision Direct (the one the game uses) and not Automatic (what we use).

I think I should update this fix to the latest 3DMigoto and always come with this profile;)

Hi Helifax
Unfortunatelly it didn't work as expected !
But we're on the right track, now the game starts and 3D kicks in, but the picture is totally flat !
Emitter is turned on and I can adjust depht and convergence (I can see the picture changes but stil flat)
Thanks for being helpfull as allways :)

And lots of ram and HD's ;)
Just found the culprit, first time I didn't notice that CM was on (because it was 2D)..
In d3dx.ini the last line here was uncommented ??
[Present]
; Clear an ini param at the start of each frame:
;x = 0
; Clear a custom resource at the start of each frame:
ResourceDepthBuffer = null
; Uncomment to enable a custom shader that allows the stereo output mode to be
; changed to Side-by-Side or Top-and-Bottom:
;run = CustomShader3DVision2SBS
So now it runs in in 3D but... skydepht is still wrong, how can that be in an old Beta build...
Is it a driver issue (385.41) ?

Sorry to hear that:(
I'll have to see it:) I don't currently have it on my machine, so need to re-download it:)
Edit:
Seems that build 610_1 still works perfect with our fix:

[s]I'll try to update the fix to the latest 3DMigoto and embed the profile inside as well;)

Unfortunately, the profiles must be swapped as there are some flags that need to go away. Setting them to zero doesn't do it:(
I've updated the fix to use the latest 3DMigoto version anyway (1.2.65).
Same link:)

Out of curiosity, check the ini file! for .w. I think is set to 1 since I use Surround. Set it to 0 for Single Screen;)

I am sorry to hear that:(
I don't know why that happens. Yesterday when I checked everything was perfect. I am not sure why this happens.
Try to DDU?
I use the latest drivers.

Interesting!!!!
Where were you (in-game) where you saw the sky box broken? (what location exactly?)
I can try to hunt it and see if I can repro it:) Maybe I don't see in surround, but only on one monitor!
If you can help out with this, it would be awesome;)
Cheers and thanks!

Sure - no problem !
I still had a save from the location, interrestingly the game starts in the lost city location with the correct skydepht, and I found the old save (20% through) and now the sky is wrong again..
The easiest way to show you the exact location is the map !
If you need anything else just let me know :)
Edit: I have just tried the official version again (with newest build), and that has the exact same issues, broken in Soviet Instal.. but ok in the lost City.. Weird !

I have been following this because I had the exact same issue with the sky and some shadows in that area on my first play through using the official 3D fix. Once out of it things were fine again. when you go back to the installation at a different time of day the sky is fine. When I finished the game and went back to collect flags the sky depth was wrong again.
I just reinstalled it(using build 610) and swapped out the profile with the profile manager to the one Helifax supplied. Loaded it and the sky is working correctly this time. Don't know if this will help but I was having the same problem

Yes, I think is a missing shader or something.
Sadly I cannot reproduce it, because probably I am at the "wrong time of day" in the game:(.
@Blacksmith56: Can you please send me your savegame where you see this issue?

No hurry on this but I was wondering what the difference between the shaderfix folder and the asm shaderfix folder is. Do I just install one or the other? Right now I was just using the shaderfix folder.
