AsRock ION + Mitsubishi XD600 = 3D Vision not works VGA problems or something else ???
Hello from italy.
I have an AsRock ION 330-HT pc which I thought I could use together my Mitsubishi new videoprojector XD600 (it has the 3D Texas instrument chip and the 3D at 120Hz).
No way to have the 3d vision working: after I run the set-up it only appears the anagliph kind...
The NVidia control panel see the monitor (which is the videoprojector) a "standard monitor @ 120Hz".
If I look inside NVidia control set-up, inside Monitor, I can see the Monitor Icon with "Mitsubishi XD600" text.
The videoprojector is set with 3D "ON"...
But nothing, the 3d set-up only gives the anagliph stereo as a chance to activate...
Today I also installed the new drivers...
Mitsubishi runs in stereo mode only through its VGA Port 1.
AsRock has a VGA and HDMI... I connected a professional VGA-VGA cable...

I now just wrote about Certification in another post.
As it's the only videoprojector actually which has 4500 ANSI Lumen, why it didn't take the Certification?
I firstly was using it with a Fujtsu-Siemens Amilo PC and it was connected through HDMI-HDMI (with adaptor).
The videoprojector works perfectly.
As I moved that PC to use it with a Samsung monitor,
I bought the AsRock nettop just for movies...
But from HDMI nothing happens... The same from VGA.
Also, if everything has the 120Hz or the 3D mode ON and running...
Does 3D Vision technology works only on HDMI port ?
This is my strong doubt....
Where can I find more depth infos about ION ???
I have vista on it (I installed it just to play 3D Vision)...
Does ION works better in XP ?
Our 3D Vision Certification program tests to ensure all products work properly with 3D Vision glasses. Its a program we work with the manufacturer directly on.

Ok.
The problem is not the videoprojector anyway.
I have problems with the AsRock ION nettop: which is the suggested configuration for ION to work with 3D Vision?
XP as Quadro ? Vista as PC with GeForce ?
I remember I read something which details about ION configuration,
but I don't remember where...
Do you have any source about ION for 3D Vision requirements ?

Hi
Currently NVIDIA ION GPUs are not officially certified to work with 3D Vision. So you may want to investigate a little faster GPU.

We have not certified the Mitsubishi DLP projector to work with 3D Vision. This website lists the certified products for 3D Vision.
