I have been going back and testing all my old games out again, and I will be replaying most if not all of them due to the immersiveness of the 3d! Making all my games a new experience in itself is priceless. If I had to choose one, my favorite game right now in 3d is Flight Sim X with Dirt 2 coming in at a close second. You have to turn off the DX10 preview and the Bloom, but other than that I am running all settings on Ultra @ 1920x1080! I think we are going on 5 years since Flight Sim X was released and I am now finally seeing the full potential of this game. I just ordered my second GTX 480 and 2 more 3d monitors so I will be ready for the 256 driver release to rock the 3d surround. This is truly the next level of gaming! Dirt 2 has some ghosting issues or it could have been my favorite. 3d vision combined with a force-feedback steering wheel is a truly awesome experience. Seems the night races have more graphical issues than the day races (hopefully future driver releases will help this). Nvidia, you have really set the bar in PC gaming. Now that my eyes have adjusted to 3d, regular gaming just doesn't cut it. Flight Sim X is more demanding than any other game I have put on my system(I have most current titles such as Crisis, Crisis Warhead, FarCry2, Fallout3, etc.), and this one GTX 480 is running it so smooth I feel like I own a professional flight simulator.
I see lots of forum posts around the web where people are bashing nVidia for the release time of the drivers and the cost, but they obviously haven't witnessed 3d gaming on a 120 Hz 3d monitor. I scoff at these people. Their ignorance may have saved them money, but they aren't on the forefront of technology. They can add as many crappy monitors to their Eyefinity system as they want, 3 crisp 120 Hz monitors in 3d will make them look like a turd in a punchbowl every time. I salute nVidia for this latest bit of technology and truly look forward to fully testing it out. The 400 series cards are a step up from the 200 series cards and they kick the crap out of anything else on the market, so people shouldn't be complaining. Not to mention the fact they came out cheaper than the 200 series cards did when they were brand new.
So far to my shock I have found a solo 280 can run 3d 1080p 120hz fine for the majority of games.
Dragon Age Orign+Awakenings is insane in n3d
BC2 does push a solo 280 in 3d (hence im about to add some fermi's) But optomised for MP BC2 is jaw dropping in3d, I would rate it more intresting in 3d mp-sp than avatar which I got free with the specs. And the Acer 1080p 120 HZ LCD as about the most fun thing you could add to a gaming PC.
I would like to see a list from nvidia soon on 3d TV's that may also support N3d, some have their own IR trans' and glasses which may work with N3d drivers and or you could add official N3d glasses all the new systems seem to be active shutter from LG Sony Smamsung and Panasonic and I understand some 3d rated DLP's are not N3d ready so it would be nice for Nvidia to try and support this systems if possible. As some gamers will opt for a 40" LED tv for games not 1-3x 23.6" screens.
Left for dead is a different game in 3d as well I prefer it in 3d and found it dull in 2d!
For those buying N3d and fermi I would recommend Battlefield Bad Company 2 as being the stand out 3d title at 1080p and Left For Dead being something very different in 3d than it was in 2d.

Another game I like with 3D Vision is Fallout 3. Too bad there are minor artifacts like glow at screen depth and such. We should start a petition for Fallout New Vegas :D
I have two GTS 250's in SLi... Metro 2033 still chops in full detail @ 1080p. How can it run smooth on a single GT 240 @ 720p with full detail, and 3d??? What frame rates are you getting?

Sometimes inside I have over 120, that means he has his 30-40 there.

Titan Quest is by far my favorite game to play in 3D, looks gorgeous!
L4D 2 is also fantastic, there were points where I was actually terrified that something was going to eat my face.
I am going to repurchase Oblivion tomorrow for PC (have it on 360 already), can't WAIT to see what that's like.

I'm really loving Dead Space in 3d and i suspect that pretty much all third person games will look great in stereoscopic 3d (assassins, creed, mass effect, tomb raider, devil may cry, etc) COD and BFBC2 also look great but when it comes to fps i was most impressed by metro 2033 which just looks awesome in 3d. Need for speed shift looks amazing in 3d as well, really awesome despite not being truly "3d ready"

1. rFactor and the SimBin series of race sims; seeing the cars, bumps, kerbs and elevation changes in 3d is immersive and improves driving
2. Lord of the Rings Online - not perfect, but being *in* Rivendell is amazing for any LoTR fan.
3. Portal - the cake is still a lie in 3d, but it *looks* very tasty...

You won't be disappointed, Oblivion looks spectacular in 3d! I seriously about jumped out of my chair when the first rat jumped at me in the first dungeon, LMAO. Hope you enjoy like I have. I have been playing through GTA IV lately, it is seriously amazing with all settings maxed in 3d.

I echo a lot of the same games, obviously all the "3D ready titles". Half Life episodes, TF2, and dark void.
What I am interested in is seeing a list of the good "arcady" titles that play well in 3D. Cheap, small bit size games to get a small 3D fix.
An example I have is Zombie Driver. I saw Alien Breed mentioned, any other smaller "arcady" titles that work great in 3D?
And I saw someone say Dead Space is good in 3D, I thought that game sucked in 3D vision? If not someone let me know cause I'll run and buy it right now.

As far as I remember Dead Space had a lot problems like glow from lights being at wrong dept and everything in front of smoke looking terrible.
I finished Dead Space in 2D but although I am very forgiving when it comes to 3D, this game didn’t make it to my personal 3D-Vision list.
It is some time ago when I tried Dead Space, so maybe it’s better with the new driver???

I'm currently in Need For Speed World Online beta and while the graphics are not the best around for a racing game, I have to say that it works flawlessy with 3D Vision.

so true!! HUGE PLUS for bioware for this. You can turn off HUD entirely and pause the game, free camera, etc etc, what else you'd want.
Oh maybe cryengine3 ;)
