Problem with 32bit Colour
Hi all,

I've recently bought one of the new ASUS 27" 3D monitors and its all great except 3D.

When I go into the Nvidia control panel and click the option to activate 3D Vision it tells me to set the colour depth to at least 32-bit, which it already is.

Anyone come across this before? I've tried a fresh install of 285.62 to no avail.

Cheers.

That is plenty strange. Does your computer recognize your monitor by name? It may be that the monitor drivers have gotten confused.

Hi,

Thanks for the respones.

Nvidia CP recognises it but under the advanced Windows options it states generic monitor. I guess this could be the issue but I'm not sure what to do about it. I'm running Windows 7 64 and would assume this should pick the monitor up?

I do have a dual monitor setup and the second monitor is not 3D. Maybe I should disable this and see what happens. Could be a deal breaker as I want to keep my higher res monitor for desktop work.

Any thoughts on this before I RMA the monitor? Don't want to but may be the only option.
