Dark Souls III - 3D vision

I can buy an extra copy but before that I want to know that you can actually use it because game is quite pricy and I already know that Helifax got it and will be taking a look at it so I don`t want to spend money for nothing.

It's within our budget to do that, I'll arrange it. Currently travelling (in Slovenia right now), so it might take me a few days to get around to it. In fact, I might wait until release. That will allow Helifax to confirm it runs at playable framerates (including in 3D). No point picking it up until we have confirmation that it performs well enough to work on.
This seems like a good game to pick up for the shared ShaderHackers account, since we already have an interested ShaderHacker. That would allow masterotaku to take an early look.
If someone can help me with some things, sure. I want to properly enjoy the game with a new Pascal GPU (my 760 would get 30fps per eye or less at 1080p, I think), so I would want at least one character with all areas unlocked and ready to warp and look around, to avoid spoilers and reach problematic areas instantly. That's also necessary because I have a full time job and coincidentally I'll only have something like 3 hours of free time on weekdays for the next 2 and a half months. If I had to play through the game (with bad performance) on top of fixing it, it would take forever. However, I can't promise results. Things could be more complex than Dark Souls 2 shaders, or outright impossible for me. Others have done fixes for games that were many times harder to fix than Dark Souls 2 DX11 and that require very in depth knowledge. I was lucky with that one. By the way, how many users can be in the shared account at the same time? 5? I'm not in the list yet, and I would be interested only for this game. Of course just to fix it. I'll pay for the game when it's ready for 3D and when I have a new GPU. Of course, the game could be in a 3D Vision Ready state at release. One can wish :p.

The game is mostly CPU limited, so something like a 980ti could likely hit 60fps 3D at 1920x1080, again assuming consistent scaling.

Sounds good, I'll wait for Helifax's report before doing anything.

Char creation with 3d vision enabled totally broken model. Didn't go past that yet. Also does not work with 360 controller and flight stick plugged in, unplug the flight stick and its ok. Char creation outside of 3d vision works ok.. I do not have most recent drivers. Updated: Ok with recent drivers I am able to play. Char creation was in 2d but not broken. After char creation the game is looking good in 3d so far but with some issues. The environment looks pretty good in 3d. The character however is slightly off its like the scabbard and sword are at slightly different angles with adjusting convergence i can not get them to align properly. Hopefully someone can fix it, but so far it looks pretty good.

Looks good-ish:) Mostly problems related to halos and some water reflections. I am still not sure how much the shadows are broken... DS1 & DS2 LOOKED good-ish on the first impression as well;) Until we noticed the shadows where 2D (some) and others were "dancing"... Also Surround/Eyefinity is broken again like all previous 2 games... You think they would have FIGURED IT OUT by now... NOPE... Mules are mules.. One direction and One direction only... Guess we can say "Thank you" for even reaching the PC;) In any case, it will be a while till I will take a look at it (hopefully this weekend) as I am pretty busy with other things currently and I also like to enjoy a game from time to time;) So, no rush here;)

I'm not at home so I can't see the screenshots in 3D until 12 hours from now. Are shadows, lighting and specular reflections working fine? If so, the game is in a much better state than DS2 by default.

But overall impression so far is that works better than DS2 (DX9 version, don't know about DX11 one). If you start working on the fix and I can help, let me know;) I will probably not be able to tackle it until the weekend;(
