Since I can't get 3Dvision to work or any definite answers, Im looking at 3D alternatives. For my machine (with only an hdmi 1.4a spec) which do you think would be best for me? I don't care about headtracking. Only 3D.
Here are some contenders:

1. 3Glasses S1
2. PiMax 4K
3. 3Glasses D2
*in order of interest*
So if I just want to be able to have at least 1080p gameplay (hooking one up would keep windows rez at 1080p without auto downrezzing) with at least keeping the game at 30-60hz, which one would I go with?

Don't buy anything without trying or capability to return.
Its not wise to base assumptions of quality based on resolution!
For example 720p@3d looks about sharp as 1080p@2d and there is Also many
Properties that effect the quality of what you are seeing.
I personally won't buy one headset untill the Fov is atleast 150, preferable more = lots more pixels = yet again lots of more horsepower
From the gpu. Under that is insuffient and cramped as fuck.
Buy a projector(s)/big ass 4K panel or monitor instead.
But thats just MY OPPINNION.
Or atleast one of the biggest hmd's (oculus or vive) that don't increase Any of my requirememnts above the want to purchase level but
Atleas offer maby more constant results.
