Thanks!! That works really well. I'm not getting the framerate drops now, both cards are being used at ~80%+ and it looks great using the built in 3d support.
Looking forward to playing now as an alternative to Skyrim.

3D-Vision is broken for me, too with nvidia drivers newer than 285.x (tried it on different PCs).
Please fix it - Had to rollback drivers just for playing POTFF with 3d vision.
Hi folks,
just installed TW2 to find I have pretty much the same problem as described in the above posts: TW2 will work in 3D but only with the DirectX9 version.
When I chose to run it using the Directx10 (with -adapter) it brings up the selection screen (what monitor/card/type of 3D) but then after the game loads there is no 3D at all - no second slightly overlapping side by side image for 3D.
I just wanted to confirm that as of now the only solution is to 'roll back' to an earlier driver and also to ask which version of the driver was the last one that worked?

Funny I tried this again the other day (with 314.22) and the 3d worked but the lighting was wrong again.
I can't remember which version of the drivers it was, but at one point this was broken, then they released a game update which seemed to fix it again.
Anyway, I downloaded the new Nvidia inspector to put the SLI bits back in for DX10 (as above) and now it works perfectly again in 3d mode using the launcher.
I had intended to mess about with the profile and maybe remove it completely, as I've had so many experiences with this game working/not working.
Although I get the green 3d overlay message, the 3d is fine, but it might be worth removing the profile or trying a new one for non-sli users? Not really sure what's going on.

The 1.3 update?
Yes twice - as in I decided to do a complete uninstall and reinstall of the entire game *and* the update but it didn't work.
One thing though that did happen the first time around installing was it crashed when I was registering it because I alt-tabbed out to give the game permission to access the internet.
Oddly the second time I installed the game it didn't bring up anything to do with registration and it is accessing the internet as it has no problem when I run the 'check for update' option.
Also I've gotten an email saying thanks for registering and giving me an activation code? I never entered any such code (only the serial key) and the game opens and seems to be running fine (except for the 3D issue).

Okay I thought I would test out the game in 3D in directx9 (as that's the only way it's working in 3D without changing the driver) and other than aiming symbols/cross hair there doesn't seem to be any big problem with 3D?
I have turned the shadows off and bloom down (it was like I was standing a meter under the sun or right next to an atomic bomb going off).
I turned on all the things I could in the Nvidia control panel and set pretty much everything to high/highest - the game looks great and the 3D is different but good and actually seems better/more real than the last game I played - Fable 3.
Plus it hasn't had any lag, low fps, stutter or other problems so far.
Now i just have to master the controls some of which seem complicated - I'll have to read the manual again - I can't even figure out how to assign items to hotkeys yet.

Wait are you guys using its renderer or 3d vision? I remember the games renderer being really wierd/complicated.
Someone once told me it was amazing using "pop-out" only instead of depth [Or very little? I dont remember]. Im guessing shadows and stuff works that way. It sounds wierd to me but just passing note along.

I'm going to play around with this again later, as it's bugging me.
I launch the game and choose the '3d' option, then choose vendor specific iirc.
The Nvidia profile info comes up, but everything works perfectly in SLI with the SLI bits set.
I'm sure at one point in the past, the only time it worked properly was when the Nvidia profile didn't kick in.
Also, you get the '3d options' in the graphics menu when it's working properly and you're right, it relies more on convergence than depth which took a while to get used to but actually works very well.

I found this game very hard to play in 3D because of the zero depth, convergence only 3D. I put it down to my monitor use. Any popout quickly becomes uncomfortably close.
Presummably those lucky enough to play on large screen and don't have to sit inches away from the screen wont have this issue...

If anyone's interested in the game it's bundled with a bunch other games right now over at http://www.bundlestars.com/ for a little over $5, some 3D some not, a couple it comes with are X-Blades and Shattered Horizon. Mostly steam keys.
