1st time 3D vision and projector advice pls
When I saw the price of the acer 5360, I decided it was time to have a go at 3D vision.
On a budget fro this so over the next few weeks I'll be getting a gtx 470, mentioned projector + 92" 16:9 screen, and the the nvidia 3d vision kit.
Big drop from 24" monitors, but I've always been so curious about 3D gaming.

Probably gonna have loads of questions over the next fw weeks, but I'll start with just two or three :)

1/
The video card will have DVI and mini hdmi outputs, to be linked with the Projector's hdmi or vga.
What's the best connection setup, or are they identical in quality? (dvi-hdmi, dvi-vga, hdmi-hdmi, hdmi-vga)

2/
Using this calculator: http://www.projectorcentral.com/Acer-H5360-projection-calculator-pro.htm , my projector should be about 11ft from screen and I should be sitting 9-15ft from the screen.
What's the best distance for imersive 3D gaming, closer to 9ft, or 15ft?

3/
The ceiling is not an option for me to mount the projector.
What's the next best option (probably depends a lot on the previous question), on a table just in of me...or possibly on a high table upside somewhere behind me?

should have said 3 or 4 /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

4/
How do I work out what is the best height to set the screen.
I'll be having my keyboard mouse etc on a standard computer desk ofc.

Thanks in advance for any advice and please feel free to simply redirect me to missed FAQs or threads :)

LOL, I've been reading threads about the 5360 losing it's edid settings...I'm hoping the majority of 5360 owners aren't having this issue???
Are there 720p alternatives, or is the fault easy to avoid?

It's pretty much impossible to tell a scale of a problem.
Since every one who has the problem will come screaming
and shouting. And people who don't won't do any thing since
there is no need.
