Either the 197.75 WHQL + matching 3D CD or the 257 Beta with matching 3D CD are fine.
The 257s had significantly worst performance in some games for me, like Assassins Creed 2, Just Cause 2 and Metro 2033, but forcing AFR2 in the NVCP seems to have fixed the problem in most of those games for me. The odd thing is that the drivers do have the same SLI compatibility flags (checked using the GeForce SLI tool) as the 197s, but I guess they're not being applied properly in the 257s. I'm really hoping the next R257 drivers improve 3D Vision SLI performance or a Beta version of nHancer 2.6.0 is released in the next few weeks so we can see what's going on with the SLI profiles a bit easier.
