Here is an example of my first goal. I want to have a page like this for every game that is listed, plus any that are submitted and not on the list.

http://3dstereo.lostgenloser.info/games/T/...taredition.html

Looks like a pretty good start. I may be interested in helping out. I've got some decent website experience (webmaster for my gaming community for the past 4+ years).

My Glasses come tomorrow, Monitor early next month. And GTX 295 when it comes in stock (ETA is early next month).

Going to be painful having the glasses but not being able to use them /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

interesting concept - I like the idea of standards and of making, nay, forcing game designers to provide games that work best in 3d

indeed you guys are not the only ones:

still under development but hopefully MTBS3d will finish it soon- perhaps you guys can cooperate?

I'll just keep doing what I am doing I think, but thanks for showing me that link, it is interesting. With any luck 3sgf will be very community oriented with a lot of community submissions. That's the plan anyway. I'm sure there is room on the internet for both since the sites will be somewhat different in their goals.

That, and MTBS3d (I find) is pretty dead.

well the MTBS3d forums are quite active - perhaps you are confusing em with the stereo3d.com forum?

Trackmania is a great game to set a benchmark for your site :

It has different issues with every driver (nvidia / iZ3D)
The game also has a native 3D engine (anaglyh, side by side, and line interleave outputs)
The native 3D engine also has bugs
Each natively supported output also has unique bugs the other outputs do not have.
some of these bugs change according to the graphics card brand you use (some of the bugs only happen with nvidia gpus, others only happen with ATi gpus)

This game is a great banchmark to see if your website has the required information boxes, and the requires information sorting method.

So a direct fix could be to have the submitter write down his specs. Driver versions, gpu and whatnot. That way you could atleast be more sure when the system is close to yours.

Would also need to state the version of the game tested, have seen a lot of the games just change from being good to being horrid after a patch. (CoD mw2 hello)
