Strangest crap ever. Vista says: Nvidia 3D Vision can perform better..
..if plugged in a "high-speed usb port". Just got this message after a blue screen and reboot. I usually have blue-screens after like 40 minutes of gaming. And yeah, only in 3D. However, Nvidia's IR transmitter (since the shutter glasses are running on battery on not plugged in at all) is plugged in at the back of the computer as the rest of my USB devices are (mouse, keyboard etc.). How come Vista says 3D Vision could perform better?
(tried to upload the screenshoot but apparently I don't have permission to do that)

Wow, I thought everyone had USB 2.0 on all ports now. The port you've plugged the 3D Vision into is apparently only USB 1/1.1, suffice to say it will not affect the performance of the glasses as I can't imagine them even using the 11Mbps or so that USB 1.1 provides

i might be on the wrong track but it might be worthwhile double checking, i've seen this issue with poor PSUs, too many devices and it goes to hell... sometimes devices won't even work. I think it has to do with the power consumption of each device, i'm not sure about how the transmitter does
it's not always related to PSUs, but if you plug 2 high power consuming devices on the same usb unit (if you notice usbs are grouped in pairs, this is what i call a unit), you might get problems on some systems. Try mixing it with a low power device like a printer or something, or alone if possible to see if you have the problem.

About that PSU.. I have an 1100 WATT PSU. Pumping something over 90 ampheres. The IR transmitter was paired up with the printer already. And according to my motherboard manual I do have USB 2.0 ports at the rear of my computer (an asus extreme striker motherboard). But I do have blue screens all the time, when playing in 3D. And the 3D mode enables and disables itself all the time too when gaming.
