New to 3dvision. Should I be at 110 or 120 hz refresh?
Heya guys. Been using this product for the last week and LOVE it!!!! Question though, would I be better off running wow, farcry2, and my games at 120 or 110? I don't seem to notice much of a difference and would like some of your real opinions on what works better? is 120 the "default good" setting to use or???

it's more or less dependant on if u play in a dark room or with lights on, really u just want it so u don't notice the glasses shuttering.

This. Set it to 110hz only if u get the flickering issue which is present in FC2 when playing in Sli.

110Hz is good because the monitor can't really keep up with 120Hz all that well and 110Hz gives it a bit of extra time to refresh, thus reducing ghosting. However because this is out of phase with 60Hz lights and monitors all around us, you may notice flickering around you. For me, 100Hz is too low a refresh rate and I notice flickering of the glasses at that point.
Personally, I use 110Hz and tune everything else out ... the more I can do to reduce ghosting, the better, imo.

You might get slightly less ghosting at 110 hz, but you also get more input lag due to the increased vsync delay (not to mention more flickering from the glasses)

you're probably best served at 120 hz[/quote]
120 is the best
upper ghosting can be ingored easly
