Upcomming 3D monitors? Better ones? Any information

Not completely true... LEDS can be switched on/off with zero delay at high speeds. So allthough the y can not fix LCDs deficiencies they can still mask it (and provide bettre gammut as mentioned). With a blanking LED backlight, ghosting caused by processing delay, overdrive etc. can be effectively minimized on the display level without depending on driver optimisations.
Also I am still waiting to see IPS/VA panels, which ordinary LCD TVs use to have. Since all announced 3D capable TVs have VA panels and most of them LED blanking backlight at 240Hz they could perform better than the available TFTs. However, unfortunately most of them do not sport 120Hz field sequential input, which is a shame since HDMI1.4a reduces resolution to 720p only....

These are being pushed mostly for 3D bluray or TV, but what about gaming? I have a Mits DLP set (60") that I use now w/ 3DV, but it's checkerboard of course, and the newer models use a different method.
