& Thats a bunch of bogus, you should buy new cards until you hit 60fps, with the highest spatial and temporal resolution. Things that won't contribute towards spatial resolution are turned off.

blah, I can stand 25 fps as framerate WITH excellent 3D effects...no problem at all. 60 fps wouldn't be necessary and I can keep $$$ for other things. in REAL life.

Well it arrived this morning and was up and running within the hour, so far I'm very happy with it.

Few issues/observations:
1. The wheel on the back of the IR transmitter seems to do nothing whilst in a game.
2. Not found a quick hotkey to disable 3D for games that will not support 3D (i.e. Age of Conan), probably my fault for not reading much of the manual yet and just jumping straight in.
3. Can't read the keyboard when in 3D mode due to the glasses cutting out 50% of the light. Will probably solve that with a small light on the keyboard later. Might need to be battery powered to avoid 50/60hz clash with the glasses.
4. The LG monitor is nice and bright, but considering it is designed to go with the 3DVision kit and sold in a bundle, what sort of idiot designs a monitor with a rounded top to it? There is no way that the IR transmitter could be fitted to the top of the monitor (as seen in a few setup guides) without a bracket or a load of bluetack (it seems to work OK under the monitor though). Might be worth Nvidia providing a hinged bracket that could be stuck to the back of the monitor with a sticky pad.

An idea
I'm going to add my second monitor (non 3D) back to the system when I have the space cleared up, and I see some people have problems with it. It would be very useful if Nvidia added a small macro feature into the Nvidia Control Panel that would allow you to enable/disable monitors, switch resolutions etc to enable fast switching of profiles via a Destop icon or even better a Hotkey Combo.

These comments aren't meant to be a whine, rather a few first impressions from a new user.

My 2 cents on your issues:

1. I have no idea, but sounds like something isn't set up right.

2. There is a hotkey, although I never use it and also don't know what it is.

3. I suggest purchasing a Seitek backlit keyboard and skip the whole extra light thing.

4. Haven't seen the monitor you speak of, but afaik the emitter works perfectly fine sitting anywhere on your desk. Mine's under the monitor.

And finally, I also have a dual monitor setup and it works correctly about 90% of the time. I have had trouble getting 3d to work on two different driver updates due to having dual monitors, but once it's working again it seems to stay working. The problem is that you must use the 3D capable monitor as your main display AS WELL AS the focus display, whatver that means. Sometimes it doesn't recognize it even when you have everything set up correctly in the control panel. Last time the solution was to disable the non-3D monitor, set up the 3D on the 3D monitor, confirm it is working, then re-enable the non-3D monitor.

There is a button to enable/disable monitors in the Nvidia control panel, so I'm afraid they already beat you to your suggestion /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Thanks for the fast responses, I know you can do it within the Nvidia Control Panel but my idea was to avoid having to even go into the Control Panel and might even solve your issue with dual monitors. The idea would be to write a small batch/macro file that could be executed at the press of a button. Sort of "assign 3dmonitor primary, disable 2dmonitor" before booting a game, and then "enable 2dmonitor, assign 2dmonitor primary" etc. With a bit of work in the future you could also switch on TV feeds and set the res etc as needed.
