If you pre-ordered Duke Nukem Forever, you may see that the demo is now available to you.
I wanted to let everyone know that the demo does look great with 3D Vision, but we did not have a profile for the demo in our 275.33 WHQL Driver.
However, the 275.33 WHQL driver does have a profile for the Duke Nukem Forever full game, and you can make the demo use this profile by just changing the EXE name of the demo to "DukeForever.com"
Let me know if you have the demo and if this works for you. Thanks.

You mean instead of Dukeforever.exe I use Dukeforever.com???? This is strange, don't you have to keep the .exe otherwise the file is obsolete. I don't think I understood this??? Or you mean Dukeforever.com.exe???? Isn't Dukeforevercom.exe

Well, I tried this, and sincerely, didn't like it. Very outdated, bad graphics, average gameplay. Framerate wise it runs very good with all settings maxed except FXAA. FXAA causes sli scaling issues, which translate to half the performance. Sometimes I have both gpus at 60's % each.

Yeah, there has to be more to it than this. Won't launch for me either (says "this game is currently unavailable") until I change it back to DukeForeverDemo.

I actually go from 99% on one card (1% on the other) with FXAA, to ~66% on one (1% on the other) with FSAA. Even double and triple checked so SLi is even enabled, which it is /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />

That doesn't work (at least it's not as simple as just changing that file name) and the convergence is locked. Will the convergence be locked in the retail version?

Convergence wasn't locked for me. I liked the demo. It's as vulgar as I'd hoped. The game has hardlly any ghosting at 75% depth. I did not do the renaming of the exe and it looked great to me. Sure, SOME of the textures aren't up to snuff, but a lot of them looked as sharp as they should be. As for polygon count.. well it does it's job and the game runs at solid vsync'd 60fps. So f*ck yall who don't like it... I'm blowin me up some pig cop muthaf*kas on launch day. /pirate.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':pirate:' />
(not mad, all in good humor /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> )

Not state of the art graphics but a fun romp that works very well in 3D
This game is AWFUL! It has lines all over the screen in the first part. Dodgy physics in the driving part and godawful animation and depth/blur effects in the 3rd shooting part. Worst game I've tried this decade! Totally unacceptable and just think it's going to be £39.99 on steam after release!!!!
Edit: ON the plus side it runs at 250 frames per second on maxed out settings.
