Hallo,
does anything happen in 3D Vision these days? I have 3D Vision 2 which is old already too. The glasses are not very comfortable to wear. I think Nvidia should join the Full HD 3D RF Community, cause the glasses of all developers in there are compatible.
For Internet use the 3D shouldn't work just with firefox and Silverlight. It should work on all browsers just with HTML 5.

Hey, a lot is happening. Read a bit in this forum and you will find out that almost all new games work flawless in 3D. Concerning the hardware I admit I also think they are not comfortable. But nothing possible to change there...

I read on Google Support pages, that they dropped NPAPI Plugins, cause of security issues, but PPAPI plugins work. So Nvidia can write such a plugin. I heard about security issues with Flash and Silverlight, too. So better to use something without that.

Pity. Perhaps they will update HTML 5, when the VR things start. Possibly some people want to create virtual web sites.

There is HTML5 Stereo support.

It requires an older version of Firefox though (last I checked..last year..lol):
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/31.0/win32/en-GB/
And works out of the box without Silverlight (that MS stopped developing...don't know about support though)...
