Casio XJ-M240 non-stereo display mode
Hi, recently i changed my projector. Old projector: LG PA70G New: Casio XJ-M240 Booth are 1280x800 LED/Laser. With the LG, i used a self created INF (using CRU-Tool) => no problems With the new Casio, i did the same. I get 3D to work, but with Problems: 1. The annoying "attempt to run Stereoscopic in non-stereo display mode" 2. The Picture is somewhat "frayed", especially font. I think the frequency details (horizontal Khz for example?) are not set correctly. 3. THe 3D-Depth seems low Can someone help please?

Try using Monitor Asset Manager from Entech Taiwan to see what the reported native resolution of the projector is. It seems odd that you were not getting the red overlay with the LG.

Native is exactly as it should be - see below. My problem is that windows itself doesnt find the projector as the casio. I have to use an alternate INF File, just like with the LG. I used the Acer 5360BD-Inf and it worked perfectly. Later i selfcreated an Inf File with CRU, and that did work too - but not with the casio. Whichever Inf i use, i have a frayed picture The solution could be 1. How can i get windows to detect my casio correctly? Or 2. Which INF File would work better with the casio? Since the Casio isn't a 3D Vision supported projector, you are stuck using an EDID override. I think you mean the H5360 inf, the Acer 5360BD is supported via 3DTV Play and wouldn't work with a HDMI 1.3 projector. When you say frayed, I assume you mean the image isn't sharp. This would be due to something being off in the timing or it's using an interlaced resolution instead of progressive.

Can please someone say if the casio, which uses FIELD SEQUENTIAL 3D Projection, can be used with 3D Vision (using a tweaked INF)?
