Compatible Monitor Question Is 1600 x 1200 @ 85hz enough?
Hello,
I was wondering if a computer monitor using 85hz would be enough to get 3d. Has anyone successfully achieved this? I am looking at a dell trinitron 21 inch P1110 that i found locally on craigslist. I have done some research on this but was wondering if there is anyone who has got this to work first hand. Thank you.

It is not comfort for your eyes using 3dvision at 85hz
flickering is harm to you

P1110 spec is as below
100hz at 1280*1024
120hz at 1024*768

at least
it wil be more comfortable over 100hz

I,m using CRT monitor too
it is HP P1230
fortunately with this monitor i can play games at
1920*1200 *100hz
1680*1050*120HZ
1280*1024*120hz

The below review from X-Bit Labs breaks it down nicely. It should help you understand why you need a 120Hz monitor with dual-DVI in order for the 3d effect to work properly.

The P1110 Specs were exactly what i was looking for. 100 hz at 1280 x 1024 and 120 hz at 1024 x 768. That should do it, thank you.
