3DTV Play - 3D Test Application & Games don't look right
I originally was using 3D Vision on my PC with an Acer monitor, and everything worked and looked great. Since getting a LG 65UB9500 4K 3D TV, I moved my PC downstairs and connected it to my new TV via my Onkyo TX-NR636 receiver. I just purchased 3DTV Play, and think I have it installed correctly as the dialog said it was installed, but the dialog also said install failed. When I run the Nvidia 3D Test Application from the Nvidia control panel, the 3D part works, but there's a ghosting to the images and text in the test app. When playing Alien Isolation in 3D, the text and graphics also have ghosting. I'm not sure what the problem is and how I can fix it - any ideas?? I just spent $40 on 3DTV Play, and I'm wondering if I wasted mm money. :(

Unfortunately the ghosting/crosstalk could just be caused by the TV itself, sometimes tweaking certain settings(contrast/brightness) can alleviate it to some degree. Aside from that, I'm assuming it failed during the Setup Wizard. If so, can you run the 3D Setup Wizard again? Should be the same place as the 3D Test App in the Control Panel. Could try plugging it directly into the TV prior to setting it up, another thing to try is a clean Driver install. Did you have an emitter with the Acer or was it built into the monitor? Unfortunately if you had an external USB emitter you get 3DTV Play for free when it's connected to the PC, so you wouldn't have needed to purchase 3DTV Play.
