Roxio CinePlayer incompatible with 3D Video player - field-sequential DVDs -
If you're looking to play field-sequential DVD titles, please be aware that Roxio's CinePlayer DVD decoder absolutely will NOT work with nvidia's 3D Vision DVD player. There was a press release from last month mentioning a demo at CES using their software to demonstrate nvidia's 3D capabilities, but apparently this was something different, set up for the show.
Another user here has directed me to the "K-Lite Decoder Package." This does work.
I wasted $30, I don't want anyone else to do the same.

Hi Mark
Our 3D Vision Video Player supports field sequential DVDs, but it requires an MPEG-2 decode to be installed. Are you saying that the Roxio CinePlayer MPEG-2 decoder doesnt work with 3D Vision Video player?

Of course...I bought the one decoder that DOESN'T work! Roxio's customer service has confirmed that CinePlayer's DVD decoder "will not work with any other player."
I assumed that any $29.95 paid-for product would work. Then again, you know what happens when you "assume" anything...............
CyberLink's PowerDVD SE is incompatible with Windows 7. It works with Vista only.
