Just wanted to provide everyone with an update. We are targeting not the next driver branch, which our next driver is based on, but rather the driver branch that follows that for this to be implemented. I don't have an exact ETA at this time but if anything changes I will update everyone.
Manuel... now we've had the latest drivers released (352.86) are we talking the next driver now for a fix, or do your branches cover ranges of 10 (ie the current branch is the 35x.xx branch and we need to wait for the 36x.xx branch?). Also, is this purely a ROG Swift issue or is it a 1440p/DisplayPort issue? I think there are quite a few of us now who are more than a little disgruntled at spending huge amounts of money here (2 x 980 cost me over £1100 and the monitor another £630 to boot) and not getting what we expected. Guess what we really want to know is if it's worth waiting or if we need to do something about it - get a different monitor or trade in the 2 cards for a single Titan X. A single 980 is already struggling in some games maxed out at 1440p - especially in 3D...
I think it's going to be the next driver branch, not the current one. The latest driver currently is 353.06, and both this and the previous one (352.86) are of driver branch 352 if i'm not mistaken (based on their release notes). Manuel G wrote that comment on April 28, when the latest driver was 350.12 (driver branch 349), and he said the next next one...which means not this one (352) but the next one.

This new model (PG279Q) with IPS panel will be definitely better in case of quality, might be without those vertical lines but it also might not work with 3D Vision at all so better check before purchase. https://rog.asus.com/422632015/gaming-monitors/computex-2015-asus-announces-new-gaming-displays/ http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/asus-rog-swift-pg279q-wqhd-144hz-ips-panel-and-g-sync.html

Been hyped up for one of them as well. Sadly - nop :/

I actually meant the screen below which is pretty the same as previous ROG Swift except IPS matrix. This panel provides better picture quality but weak refresh rate. Even if this screen comes with G-Sync and 144Hz according to ASUS - everybody claims that 75Hz is the max on it. I`m confused - tech is killing me on things I don`t care about. G-Sync in this case.

If I were to be in this situation I would demand a refund or consider legal steps.

Vulcan, there is no such thing as a "60Hz 3D Vision" display.

(2 generations after R3). The 880M and 780M were the last GPUS that supported 3D Vision. 980M doesn't support since the OEMs didn't pay royalties to nvidia for 3D Vision. Nvidia provides the CHIP + "chip capabilities". The 980M will work with 3D Vision if hooked to an external 3D Monitor however, but not the internal 3D Panel. Price of a 980M card for upgrade is 950 dollars. I've actually looked into this since I was thinking to upgrade my 880M:) Also there aren't 60Hz 3D Screens -_-.
