I'm using the fix playing the full version and it is looking really awesome so far!
Is this fix a collaboration or crediting masterotako as of now?
Playing @ 1440p with 4k textures.
Using highest textures and every other graphics option is low or off and this way it is looking the best for me so far. (Probably could turn some on if 1080p.) Moves relatively smoothly and fixes the strange hair issues I had when AA and some other options were enabled.
Are you going to work more on it for the release version? Seems like its mostly good to go other than on screen names and way-points and such which might not be fixable?

As of present time the fix available is entirely masterotaku's work, as I've yet been able to even take a look beyond the tutorial in the demo. I've got the next couple days of days off, so I'll see about loading up the game and if I can make any additions to the base work he's provided.

Thanks guys, appreciation sent! Keep up the great work!!!
It looks amazing! Precisely what I was hoping for when I stopped playing the ps4 version after a couple hours..
I don't have this game, but it reportedly uses VXAO and Hybrid Frustum Traced Shadow technology
https://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/final-fantasy-xv-windows-edition-4k-trailer-nvidia-gameworks-enhancements
I haven't seen anyone comment on these features and was curious if they make a noticeable difference.
I'm thinking about installing the demo, but I'm afraid that it would be a waste of time on my outdated PC.
just curious...I was also wondering if VXAO would help in Compatibility mode, because it's supposed to fix some halo'ing issues according to the PDF.

Interesting, I ll check it out.
Thsnks so much for the fix guys.
I don't play FF games except XIII (still need to finish it), because it takes too long to finish them. But I'm hyped for this game, so probably will play it till the end.

1) night lights and shadows
2) magic / effect decals
3) square blocky lighting (idk if this is fixable at all some games I remember hav this problem. Not sure)

here many pics :
1440p - 25 / 40 fps
pack high resolution : on
all settings : max
but
AA : off (broken)
Nvidia VXAO - Hairworks - shadowlibs - turf effect : off (broken)
I'll try to download the full game tomorrow, because I'm going to finish the ToCS2 fix today, I hope (I underestimated how long story events and sidequests are in the epilogue).
DJ-RK, Helifax: any notable advancements over my WIP?

Fist of all thank you everyone involved in this fix!
I downloaded the wip2 fix, but 3D doesnt kick in. When I switch to 1280x720 I still get the red 'this resolution...' message.
Do I need to use a specific profile?
ps: im on driver version: 391.01
Thanks in advance!

I downloaded and set up my access on the shared account on day 1 or 2 of release, and I finally planned on firing it up for the first time and taking a look last night. After spending a couple hours moving and deleting as much off my SSD as possible, I went to log in to the shared account to be greeted with the Steam guard login prompt not recognizing my computer (which I had previously authorized), so it would seem that someone else logged into the account and enabled the Steam guard and left it enabled (tisk tisk), and I want to give the benefit of the doubt here and say it was Steam being forgetful (somehow), but they may have (hopefully inadvertently) removed my computer's authorization on the account in the process. Already contacted Pirate and when I get my access sorted I'll be looking at this next.

I noticed in the demo that those GameWorks Fx were rendering only in one eye. Seems Norbert72 mentioned this as well. I haven't tried the full game yet nor the latest nVidia drivers in the demo but StereoFlagsDX10 - 0x00005000 and 0x0000C000 did not have any effect when I tested them. Hopefully a low-level method such as the one used in Andromeda will be able to solve this.
