As the topic states, how does Wolverine Un-caged and GTA4 run with the Samsung monitor and glasses?
I'm pretty sure I messed something up and the only games I see in 3D now are Left 4 Dead and the Nvida 3D test... (and Left 4 Dead isn't as 3Dish as it used to be...)
Wolverine does not work at all for me and want a confirmation before I return it. If it does work, I'll continue messing with the settings.
I've heard GTA4 doesn't work at all, is that true? I own it for the XBox as well as the PS3 (for some stupid reason) and really don't need it for the PC if it doesn't work in 3D.
On a side note... other than the Nvidia control panel where you adjust the hotkeys, where can you mess with the settings for individual games? I remember messing with that and completely forgot where it was...
I think that's where I messed up my settings but can't find that area anymore.

Wolverine has no profile (Big surprise......) However, if you rename the exe to fifa09.exe it works OK, you'll have to mess with the convergence settings.
I'm starting to regret this purchase.......why does it take so long to get 3D Vision profiles? On top of the fact that the software doesn't work properly with 64bit.

Thanks for your reply, I think that's one of my problems, where do I access the profiles?
Also, I am running 64 bit Vista, is that another reason things are a little screwy?

That's always been the issue with 3D and Nvidia--you never get the newest games right away. I'm kind of with you on that one--here they've relaunched, they claim to have all this inside track with developers, they should be able to test this stuff and get profiles out before release of new games--and the advice we have to get is to rename a .exe? Sounds like 3D Vision is still in the hacker realm for anybody who cares about playing the newest stuff with 3D Vision.
I just hope it isn't Nvidia telling companies something like "if you want 3D Vision logos and support at release pay us x dollars". . .

WoW thanks! This works great.
I was unaware of the whole renaming the exe's thing to get the different profiles to work, this has helped me out with various other games I own, much appreciated.
Now for GTA4... Nothing yet I assume? There isn't a game on the PC that uses that 3D engine that I know of...

Just to understand it better, before I buy the game:
do you mean that GTA4 now works in S3D ? And.. has it its own stereo profile ??

If I were you I'd ask about the framerates too. I heard it got pretty low ones, even in 2D. Haven't tried it myself though.
