Has anyone found a way to get rid of this error yet? The damned 3D stereo warning keeps coming up even though I can see 3D stereo on the screen. How can it be an invalid 3D stereo mode when I'm looking at it stupid.
And before the mods get trigger happy and try to close this thread, I don't care about your lousy 3D TV Play software and I am not trying to steal it. I don't want it. I want someone to explain to me why this keeps coming up.
I'm on a Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 2040SB(CRT) over VGA. It seems that anything that is not 1024x768 @ 120hz or 1920x1080@60hz(glasses don't even trigger anyway) is being flagged as an invalid mode.
I would love for someone from Nvidia to respond and tell me how to get around this. Hell I'll even give you the specs on the monitor if you'll whitelist it so I don't have to use a spoofed EDID.

So your saying you still get 3D outside of one of these modes?
For most of my games the 3D Vision simply refused to work when not in 720@60HZ or 1080p@24HZ mode.
They are HDMI limitations, but it was never proven that they were really limitations.
I think Nvidia made that warning for more of a "try at your own risk" disclaimer.

Yes the 3D works but the warning pops up. I had to resort to using the bitmap hack to blank the OSD, which works. But I'd like Nvidia to actually fix the problem.

It's not HDMI, its a CRT over VGA.
My max is 1920x1080 @ 86hz I believe from the spec sheet
VGA is sort of a loophole as it allows for the possibility of EDID spoofing\dongle trickery.
