nvidia 266.45 drivers and quadro fx 4800 3D Vision not working since installing new drivers
Hi all,
I have been using 3D vision on my quadro fx 4800 for 6 months now with no problems. I recently updated my graphic drivers to the 266.45 version, and when trying to turn on 3d vision this message displays:-

"Warning: attempt to run Stereoscopic 3D in non-stereo display mode, please change to a acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes."

Here is a list of things i have set up:-

monitor refresh rate 120 hz

dual link dvi

updated 3d vision drivers
When going through the test phase, the emitter is recognised, the monitor is recognised but when running the first test with the squares and triangles the message is displayed.

Anyone have any idea how i could solve this,
Cheers,
Andy

Did you get this figured out? You reset your display rate to 120hz but did you re-enable Stereo in the Nvidia Control Panels 3D Settings? The refresh rate seems to be the obvious answer but you've done that.

Thank you for replying to me Larry. Up until your reply I had done nothing else to resolve my issue. After re thinking the situation about an hour ago I decided to unplug my second(none 3d) monitor, and 3dvision works now.so its something to do with my multiple monitor setup.the problem wasn't there previously but the new NVIDIA drivers seem to have confused 3d vision into using my other monitor.I have set my 3d monitor to primary but 3d vision just won't work whilst my second monitor is part of a multiple display.a little annoying I would say.
