How can I increase separation (depth) with 266.58? Still the same problem.
I posted this about the 266.35s and did not see an answer:
At least with my 24" CRT, max separation is still pretty small, about what I saw with 1/3 max separation with older drivers. It appears to be only about an inch of separation max on my 24" (actually about 22" viewable) monitor. In the registry it appears the drivers default to a 55" monitor, thus the low separation with typical monitor sizes. From what I can tell, if I change this value the driver will just change it back. Is there a permenant fix for this, or will nVidia bring back the monitor size slider in future releases? Also, why would they pick such a large default monitor size so that everyone with smaller monitors will have limited separation?

Thanks. I did see that work-around from last year. I hoped that someone had come up with an easier solution than alt-tabbing to the registry editor every time I open a game or making a bunch of custom .bat files. Perhaps someone has found were the default monitor size is coming from in the driver so we can change that?
Less than 1" separation on my monitor at the max depth setting is a pretty disappointing effect, but otherwise the new drivers are very nice and stable.

It is not permanent, but it still helps you automate things a bit if a certain game can benefit from more depth...
I'm not sure if it still works with the latest drivers.
