Ok I have the acer GD245hq or something like that. Now If I hook it up through dvi-D everything runs fine. If I hook it up through HDMI the max refresh rate I can Get is 60hz. How is that possible. Even if I use a Dvi-D to hdmi adapter still its a no go. It wont even recognize. What do I need to do to make it work. I tried to create a custom resolution and it gave me an incompatable display issue. Its not the HDMI port either because I tried it on a different display an acer h5360 and I had the same issue.
Recap
1. Acer GD245Hq updated drivers
2. Works through DVI-D
3. Wont work through HDMI
4. I have the most recent drivers. 1.33 installed.
On that setup I am running
Gtx 470
q6600
a 650w antec power supply
Windows Vista
If theres anything else I need to put down let me know I will update my post according to what you tell me.
Thanks for the tech support guys and gal's Its much appreciated.

hdmi doesn't support refresh rates over 60hz at high resolutions...
even the new hdmi (1.4 for 3d tvs, not this monitor) sends side-by-side video, not pageflipped video
you can do 3d only over DUAL LINK DVI, thus, you need to use the FAT DVI cable that came with the monitor
hdmi is only SINGLE LINK, and has HALF THE WIRES INSIDE, so it wont work for transmitting 3d, no matter the converters, if you have hdmi somewhere in the chain, it won't work for 3d on the acer

EDIT: According to this it should run just fine in 3D with HDMI.
AFAICS That should work fine.
You can do 720P over HDMI @ 120Hz, but not higher resolutions.
Your monitor will only do 3D in it's native resolutuion which is too high to work over HDMI.
