Batman Arkham Origins - DX11 features disabled in 3d Mode??

Yeah, the main menu is particularly bad, but it appears elsewhere too, particularly with background objects and always on the right. I've seen it in other games, but setting max pre-rendered frames to 1 normally eliminates it.

Hi Guys, I just started Batman arkham origins in 3D and its awesome. I am having an issue of low GPU usage in the game. I am using GTX580 in sli and the GPU usage is always in the 50 percentage zone and my fps suffers due to it.I have a 3770k overclocked to 4.7 ghz and 8 gb ram so bottleneck is not an issue i guess. Can anybody have any pointers for the issue? Anyone else facing the same problem of low GPU usage? Thanks in advance
You suppose to be good with that what you got. Maybe you restricting yourself by having Vsync "on" or PhysX to "High". Did you try to go on absolute minimum and rise slowly one option at the time - this way you can see which affects you the most. Also check if you got Vsync in Nvidia Menu set to "Adaptive".
Thanks for the reply :) Solved the problem by changing the drivers to latest one. But I get dips to 20 fps sometimes hmm :( Adaptive Vsync is only there for 600 series and above right ?? Correct me if I am wrong I am feeling that I am facing the VRAM issue as i choke my 1.5gb vram on my 580 to the full in fight scenes where you have many thugs. How much is the VRAM usage in this game ?

You don`t need more memory - you not playing at higher resolution then 1920 x 1080 (also all other visuals are fine with that what you got). That "Adaptive" vsync is for every nvidia card - just check at the very bottom of "Manage 3D Settings" and "Global Settings" or indywidual for every game "Program Settings". This option will keep you away from vsync locking you around 30 fps when Gpu cant manage 60 fps. Also will keep your left and right eye in sync so you dont get headache. Remmember to always keep you vsync in game "off" tho. One more time - thanks to this someone who post this solution ages ago.

I used to have a 580 Lightning extreme and it had trouble running Arkham City. Not terribly, mind you, but enough of a lag to notice.

With two gtx580 (like yours) i never had problems wih any Batman game (in 3D) so you should be good. Just cut on some visuals or PhysX (just to keep smooth gameplay). Although all physical elements in this game are one of the best arround. Work with this because i never had frame drops like you describing.

I had a little bit of FPS issues with a double-memory 580, but it was simply because I couldn't stand to turn down the eye candy ;-) .
