Just one question, now the dxsettings.ini is different to chiz's mod, how do i use a library from InjFX or ENB? I cant see where I reference the DLL in the ini file.

I did a quick fix for EVGA.
Try this dll.
It should work with EVGA overlay(modified runtime libraries should be checked of course) at least with SKYRIM.

Thanks for the updated .dll. I wish there was a way to get the actual OSD working in game but no matter how much tweaking I tried with the config file that Precision generates, I can't get it to work. I am pretty sure it is because of using injectFXAA. Having fully functional 3D is the top priority though so I can get over it! /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I also wanted to thank HeliX for the preset option. I like having high depth for the UI/HUD as it is easier on the eyes and makes navigating the map easier. I change it to low depth when I need to read a book or document. What an awesome addition to an already great set of fixes.

All hail Helix!
However, I need some help.
New to this game and Helixmod.
Downloaded the d3d9.dll and the /shaderoverride directory and placed d3d9.dll, DX9Settings.ini as well as the /shaderoveride directory its contents to the same steam directory having TESV.exe.
But shadows are completely incorrect (2D) even if set to low.
I am using steam version.
I am not running EVGA precision.
Steam community disabled in-game.
What am I missing.

Helix - I found a shadow shader I think you missed - in 1st person when standing under a tree, the shadows cast on your player are rendered at screen depth. The birch trees outside of Riften show this the best - stand under one on a sunny day and hold up your shield.

There is also one in the Smugglers Den (I think that is what it is called). One whole section of the cave's lighting is messed up. It was a pretty trippy experience. I also get the weird halo around my weapons in that caves water segment.
Definitely not complaining, just letting you know.
I meant to ask this a while ago, if I want to remove the "mod", do I just delete the 3 files it installed (shadowoveride and the 2 d9 files)?

@ baragon:
Did you place it in correct folder and download latest version of the DLL ?
@supcaj:
I saw it , but it's the same shader as used for environment shadows, maybe in first person there is some post-processing shader for arms/weapons.
But I didn't catch up it yet.
@whodamanxbox:
I already mentioned that SKYRIM uses different shadow shaders for in-door places.
Can you upload a save game(otherwise I can't find/fix it) ?
out of curiosity, is it normal for shadows that fall upon your sword/shield to look odd? The environment looks perfect and they rest just fine on my character in third person, its just in first person they look odd and somehow placed deeper than the weapon and they dont match up correctly. A minor quibble otherwise! I just wondered if it was some daft mod or ini setting i had set (already removed lighting and 'more shadows' mod just in case).

Yep, that's what i was referring to above. There are still a few 3d bugs left that I've noticed, but they are all minor. Helix is doing an awesome job, and I hate to just bring up issues without helping, but I think it's worth tracking them.
- The moon is at a different depth than the stars, when both should be on the infinite focus plane.
- Shadows cast on player in 1st-person are rendered at screen depth.
- Occasionally, shadows cast on the player's face in 1st person are visible and obstruct the field of view (this may be an unrelated-to-3d skyrim bug.)

I found the problem with shadows on arms in first person view.
It's definitely another bethesda bug.
There are two srcreenshot in 2D mode without any fixes.
Look at the cart, shadows on the weapon from the cart ? :)
And this one looks correct - I just change zoom, same position of the view.
It means that game doesn't include positions of weapons/arms in first person mode to the depth buffer(render to depth buffer before it ?).
So i can't do anything here. maybe bethesda will fix it, because it's a bug in 2D mode.

I placed your latest all-in-one set: d3d9.dll (03-25-2012) and associated DX9Settings.ini and entire ShaderOverride
into:
c:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim directory where TESV.exe resides
I am having no effect, shadows are completely broken (2D).
No EVGA precision running (but I tried your d3d9.dll fix for that as well with no joy.
I have not used your injector before but plan to on several games.
Thanks for everything you have done for stereo gaming.
