Hi, I've tried Wolfenstein with the wrapper and the 3d is incredible, however I get really serious vsync issues as soon as I try to turn anywhere. I've read this thread and it's mentioned here and there, while others seems to do fine. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I've tried different resolutions, setting everything to low to improve fps and everything I could think of, but as it is it's almost unplayable to me, any suggestions?

I can't say exactly but at it looks fluid to me, seems 30 fps to me as it should. Turning everything low does nothing to fix it

If i remember right, birthright is a hmz user? If so, im afraid you wont be able to play wolfenstein with it. The synch issue becomes so strong with it and no fix as far as i know. On my projector and monitor it was actually very much playable, sony hmz not so much. No idea what causes that, maybe 3dtv play? My projector of choice was 3d vision 120hz and my monitor is also 120hz 3d vision ready. Maybe its an issue with 3dtv play rather than the device(hmz) itself? I do have 3dtv enabled projector too but didnt test it with wolfenstein and too lazy to download 40gb's to test it.

If it's an Sony hmz it would make sense....as your eyes are "closer" to the screen that would normally be when you are using a monitor or even a projector...
I know somebody who was using 3DTVPlay and a 3D TV reported that enabling any "motion blur removal functionality" on the TV improved the eye sync quite by a good margin...
Sadly, I cannot do anything about it as the engine is capped at 60fps (30fps) per eye.... if the engine would "run wild" than you would get a fluid stereo image....
For testing you can try my Broken Age fix (the latest one) and you will see exactly what I mean:) (Broken Age was also capped at 60fps but I removed the CAP limit on the game).
Multiple users using a projector reported that is by far the best experience (regarding the eye sync problem). So, if you have a projector or 3D Monitor try to use those.... Chances are you are highly susceptible to eye sync problems and you detect it to a higher degree than other people as well:)
Hope it helps ^_^.

What other information would you need to help me?
Thanks for your efforts.

I was looking at this title in the Steam sale and was wondering if any updates on the 3D vision aspect. Has things changed where things are broken in 3D? I see Helifax's fix and he certainly does a great job with his fixes, Amensia worked great! However, not to any fault of Helifax, but does the game work with his current wrapper? Also, it seems like a massive download and I just want to be sure before I pull the trigger. The game appears to be well received and I can only imagine how this will play in 3D.
Cheers and Happy New Year!

Use Firefox and give it a look:

This should answer your questions;))
Ps: also latest drivers are busted in 3D. So use driver 344.65 to be able to view the video in 3D in Firefox browser... -_-

Helifax, thanks dude for the feedback...Yeah, I have not updated my drivers since 3D vision users have to watch this shit...ha ha.....I think I'll go ahead and pull the trigger on this title before the Steam sale is over.
Happy New Year to you sir!

Happy New Year;))
The game plays rather well (if you don't mind the internal 60fps cap of the engine and thus 30 fps per eye which leads to a bit of an eye strain on rapid movement :( ... ) Nothing I can really do about it and I've spent like 50h+ trying to find a solution....
I am tolerant to stuff like this;)) The video will make you a good image of what to expect;))
If you don't decide to play it in 3D is still a good game in 2D ^_^

IdTech is based on OpenGL unless they do like the Doom 3: BFG Edition and allow 3D Vision. But I doubt they will bother, everything is 4K this 4K that nowadays and Nvidia couldn't care less about 3D Vision anymore. It's all about VR lol
