I tried this. 3D works. But it's ugly. Might be cause of games I'm playing.
Wow doesn't have full screen option now and as I know 3D working only in full screen. ALthough 3D in League of Legends works. But it's ugly and works even when it's borderless - same as in WoW bordlerless but in WoW it doesn't work at all.
Also is there anyway to bypass this "eyeswitched" thing? It's very inconvenient to wear glasses upside down.

Hello! Also I can say that the 3D Vision works perfectly even on a Samsung C32HG70 (FreeSync rather than G-Sync!) monitor with VA panel (with overriding EDID from Dell S2716DG).

Thanks for taking the time to sign up and post this! I was under the impression that Freesync monitors would not work due to the additional hardware installed to support the technology.
On NewEgg I see that it says FreeSync 2, perhaps something has changed?
Anyhow, since it has a VA panel, do you have very much crosstalk?
Perhaps you can try this test on it?

What's also odd, is that the C32HG70 also has Quantum Dot.
I would have expected that to cause an issue with stereoscopic viewing.

31.5 Curved 144hz VA HDR support for $599 at NewEgg would be great if the crosstalk is low

Built for speed
Blending its advanced motion blur reduction technology with its superior VA panel, Samsung has created this curved monitor with a super-fast 1ms MPRT (motion picture response time) that lets you enjoy unprecedented gaming performance without motion blur across the entire screen.

Hello, sorry for my late feedback.

Black Equalizer: 13
Response Time: Fastest
Low Input Lag: on
Contrast: 50
Sharpness: 60
Color Tone: Cool 2
Gamma: Mode3

I think that for 3D Vision is necessary ULMB function (in the Samsung C32HG70 is "Response Time" function that an alternative to ULMB) and, of course, native 120hz input.

My tests above, but in games like Crysis 3 or Deus Ex MD I'm almost not feeling crosstalk issue (but yes, it's exists). And I think that better to buy perfect general purpose monitor like this model with VA panel, rather than bought TN-Film.

Out of curiosity, have you ever tried 3D on a TN panel before or is this your first experience with 3D Vision?

I'm curious about this too. The C32HG70 ticks a load of boxes but I don't want excessive crosstalk and it's hard to judge unless you have a point of comparison.

Gigabyte RTX2080TI Gaming OC, I7-6700k ~ 4.4Ghz, 3x BenQ XL2420T, BenQ TK800, LG 55EG960V (3D OLED), Samsung 850 EVO SSD, Crucial M4 SSD, 3D vision kit, Xpand x104 glasses, Corsair HX1000i, Win 10 pro 64/Win 7 64https://www.3dmark.com/fs/9529310
If you open C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\3D Vision\nvtimings.ini, you will see that each officially supported monitor has a lot of timing parameters. Using EDID override from a random monitor makes the driver use the wrong timings from it. I don't think that it's possible to get the best crosstalk results from an unsupported monitor without tweaking the timings.

Hi NeIVIeSiS, thanks for trying out a load of screens, shame it's not going well. Presumably you're able to enabel 3d vision but are getting tons of crosstalk?
Was a C32HG70 among the screens you tested?

So I finally tried 3D Vision on my Samsung C49HG90 (the 49" super ultra wide version of the C32HG70) and unfortunately there is too much ghosting even at the 'Fastest' response time setting:

BTW, I thought there was a resolution limitation but I was able to reach 3840 x 1080 @ 144Hz (see stereo screenshot).
