It's an OpenGL GAME not a DirectX one, hence no CM mode is available!
If you are on Windows 10, then NO overlay is present. If you are on Windows 7 then the overlay is present.

Also, with all the HACKs and intermediary hardware (splitters and the like) is no wonder is not working properly and I can't do anything about it, unless nvidia investigates what their driver/code does when it runs on a setup like yours... which is not going to happen...
Sadly, I can't do anything to help here and you are on your own. If you do solve the problem, please let us know how you did it, although is less likely someone will use a setup like yours here...

Helifax are you able to start the game in proper 3D under Windows 10 ? for some reason I get SBS view, which was normal all the time but then Alt+tab doesn`t do anything. Use to work like that on Win7 - Alt+Tab use to set trigger normal 3D respond. Didn`t read through so I don`t know if anyone mentioned that yet.

Yes works just fine. Be sure you are running the game in Administrator Mode.
If still doesn't work, try to remove the SOMA profile using Nvidia Inspector, it will be generated by the wrapper.

Hm.. that´s wierd the overlay is not shown ever with soma. i gotta investgate other opengl games.
i ran alien isolation just fine. and it showed the overlay. yes im on win7 for my game machine.
My setup is complex. but it´s not that compilacated. 3D demultiplexer box acts as a displaydevice.
it eats framepacked 3d at 24hz and 120hz splitting it into 2 1080p@60hz streams.
the edid hack is just for getting the 3d multiplexer to be known as an nvidia certified screen as it has
not the lisencing. in this model.
but i´ll try to find the culpri, and i will shurely report if i sucseed.
Maby VR will change my setup for only movie use. who knows.
Can the EDID mess anything ? if you think about it.
allthough this is the first game givin problems...or the second.
if i remember wolfenstein the later last blood or something. that was
also horrible for me. but maby 660ti in 2 way sli was not strong enough for it.

You...want to play this game on a 660Ti? I say one since SLI IS not adding anything in OpenGL.
One 660Ti = 660Ti SLI.
As said above in this thread by countless others:
- The OpenGl wrapper is rendering sequential frames. This means you need to keep 120 FPS in 2D to have 60 in 3D and NO EYE sync issues.
Your 660Ti is an ANCIENT GPU. It was mediocre when it was released. Now, I think even an IGPU outperforms it (from the latest CPUs). Don't get me wrong, but even on a 980Ti on a single screen at 1920x1080p I can't maintain SOLID 60FPS in this game. Very rare occasions but they exist.
WOLF games are locked to 60 FPS that give you 30 FPS in 3D and you notice the eye-sync.
Recommendation is to change those ancient GPUs to something newer. Get at least a GTX970 (it's cheap now).
(660Ti wasn't recommended for 3D when it was released...Imagine now after almost 5 years...)

My bad...
I don't really know what to tell him though... Works fine here and for others as well so he will need to figure this one on his own sadly:(
The screen tearing he is saying I have never seen and is related somehow to the EDID + 3D Vision drivers + nvidia drivers (OGL-DX interoop).
If a device is not supported officially by the nvidia drivers is little I can do...

Its really not that scary. Its more psychological.
It doesnt pull the peekaboo that other horror games like outlast do.
Not sure if your going in thinking its amnesia.. That game was terrifying.
This is more about mood/story/atmosphere.
ok. it´s time to give up. It has something to do with refreshment rate. if i turn refreshment rate
down to 60 the slide show goes away but of course i can´t run it that way...but to my point.

Is there any way i could use 3d vision/wrapper on my Line interlieved 3d display ?
i used to play with it when i fist got into 3d. It´s still better than 2D on huge screen.

Yes it should, I tried Wolfenstein the New Order which is another OpenGL game that helifax fixed with his wrapper on a Optomized for GeForce display and it works.

Hi.
. I used to have 660ti sli 2way but i currently have 1 980ti stock clocks.
And the problem is way more than small eye synch error.
Soma runs ok for a brief moment if i turn it into Windowed mode...yes what.. but after a while messing around the 3d eye synch brokes
And if i turn slowly the camera the one eye drags behind all the time.
If i use borderless, the gameplay turns into eye synch error plus frame skipping. And fullscreen is even badder.
And its the only game that i can't seem to get working. Everything else is spot on.
But noone Else propably solves this mystery than me, and im quiet done with OpenGL. Starts to sound swearing to my ear.
I played over 10h of soma and im still in the first room.
And i ain't playing game like this in booring 2d no matter it takes 5 years to get tech to game it that way ( meen my own)

Can you make a video with your phone of the screen projector? I am not interested in the whole screen image, but a close-up that shows exactly what you are seing.
I am having a bit of a hard time visualizing it...
ALSO, look in the INI file that comes with the fix! There are 2 parameters that are directly tied to the REFRESH rate! Try to toggle them ON/OFF and see if things look better/differently!
If I will be able to provide a fix, first I need to see it exactly, understand it and try to replicate it (although, no matter what I tried I wasn't able to replicate it). So, hopefully a video of the image, as seen with the naked eye, will provide me with some insight on what is happening;)

Hi.
I will try to capture a video. I already took one try with GoPro hero2 but I'm my bat cave I got somethings that resembles a memory of a video, super grainy and blur.ill try with phone or friends Nikon. It's probably a long shot but I will thank you already just for the will to want to help.
I just stumbled into layer of fear and was hyper exited. And I understand it's like soma in terms of 3D gameplay with fix.
I was thinking to buy it and try it also if there is any difference.

It's an OpenGL GAME not a DirectX one, hence no CM mode is available!
If you are on Windows 10, then NO overlay is present. If you are on Windows 7 then the overlay is present.
(This is a driver thing...)

660ti sli was what he had before
The EDID should be fine
Will the GeoBox demux any format input? Or do you have to switch between formats?

This is more about mood/story/atmosphere.

i used to play with it when i fist got into 3d. It´s still better than 2D on huge screen.
