I currently have the 8800 512MB GTS OC (G92) card and the 22" Zlaman screen ready for the nvidia vista driver lauch, but i'm now looking to upgrade my motherboard and cpu.
so what i would like to know is how cpu dependant is 3D stereo, or is it all on about the gpU.
I'm trying to figure out if a quad core Q6600 or E8500 dual core will be better.
On one hand quad core has the extra cores and can be clock to about 3.6Ghz but the new dual core E8500 can apparently be clocked up to 4.5Ghz.
so for 3d stereo is it better to go for the 2 extra cores with a quad core or go with quicker dual core ?
