Why did you feel sick? I found it a small price to pay to get everything else looking good in 3D. Also, this is an FPS, how often to you stare at the characters guns hands. I'm usually looking at where I'm shooting and not at the gun in my hands. Also, the irion sights looks better in 2D as well.
I enjoy looking at weapons on FPS and I'm sure others do also. I know for aiming it may be better in 2d but it just distracts from the game for me. Maybe I shouldn't have used the word sick.. I just didn't find it appealing.

I personally hate fpp in 3d, once I set the depth/conv ratio to enjoy the surroundings the gun became awkward :) but thats just my opinion and this is why I didnt really play many fpp in 3d (bioshock included). I love tpp games in 3d though (AC series included, TR, ME, DMC, MP, etc.) I just love how they look in proper 3d and can't really play any of them in 2d now...
I still dont know how people dont see this (3d) as a single greatest improvement since 3dfx for gaming. I would play any dx9 game in 3d than any of the dx11 games we currently have.
We would have to wait like another year until we start to see truly dx11 games (with games like UE4, Division, etc). Right now its like ooo we have tessellation so lets turn it on on surfaces while the models and stuff are still designed without the possibilities it gives and yeah we have a lot of particles nowadays but thats about it. There is nothing to see yet.
we should probably start 3dvision support thread for division already

as this is definitely something I would love to play in 3d. Hopefully by that time we would have a working dx11 fix because I doubt ubisoft is going to give a fuck about 3d vision users.

I don't know what is changed in the 3D Vision Driver in the new Beta but i think if you set shadow to minimum there is some changed to the old Driver. the shadows are not so many broken(depth 10%)
a little issues is that the shadows Need a Little bit time for Position but after that is the typical nvidia rate "good" :)
thanks NV
sorry for bad english

with last driver 331.93
the shadows are incorrect
after 2 minutes of play, eyes pain
unplayable
I agree it's not the most confortable but if you decrease the depth to max 10% and increase the convergence, it's now playable without hurting my eyes (that was not the case with previous driver, don't know why) and it's better from 2D.
Indoors are broken though/

@ chitiblue
that's exactly what i mean. for the most 3D Vision ready games i push the the depth to 100%(i don't know why nvidia calls 15% as standart??? but for this game 8-10% more than enough.
funny is that before i install the new beta the shadows ever broken by the old Driver. now i reinstall the old Driver(some complications in other games) the shadows same as the new beta(i make every time a check mark for new Installation)
