275.33 drivers killed my 3Dvision
Hey

Since I installed the 275.33 drivers I have been unable to use 3Dvision. The IR Transmitter used to glow red until today when I tried reinstalling the drivers. Now its completley dead. So are the glasses (I cant turn them on and they wont charge).
If I try to configure 3dvision from the control panel I get an error saying I dont have any driver for the IR transmitter. The error message also suggests that I download the latest drivers, but thats exactly what caused the problem. I did download the drivers one more time just to make sure.. but it did nothing.
So I'm stuck.

Is there any solution for this?

Thanks

If you're getting no lights at all, then I'd start trying a different USB port, sounds like it's not getting power.

This is a known issue that was introduced with the 275.33 drivers (check the first 'sticky' thread in this forum for more details).

Please try with the 275.50 drivers to see if it fixes your problem.

Also, please mention which 3D notebook model you are using...

The 275.50 drivers fixed the problem and also caused some new minor ones that I can live with for the moment.

I'm not sure why you are assuming that I'm using a notebook (I'm not using one).. (...)

Anyway, thanks for the support.

To all experiencing no 3d after over install, can you provide the PCI_ID for your notebook GPU? We will need the following:

1) Make and model of notebook
2) NVIDIA GPU model
3) Device ID of GPU. To get the Device ID of your GPU, please do the following:
-Open your Windows Device Manager
-Double-click on the "Display Adapters" icon
-Right-click over the icon for your NVIDIA GPU
-Select "Properties"
-From the Properties window, select the "Details" tab
-From the drop down "Property" box, select "Hardware Ids"
-Copy the first line shown and paste it into your report. It would look something like this:

PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0A2B&SUBSYS_9072104D&REV_A2

Please update this thread with your notebook information.

I have the same problem. I had 3D Vision working just fine but my laptop crashed (not from the 3D vision) and I had do restore to factory settings. Now I can't get 3D Vision working.
