Zelda Breath of the Wild 3D Vision Fix (Depth map based)

Hmmm I must be missing something. Everything appears to be working, and it looks fantastic. So great work there guys. However, performance is so atrocious it's not really playable, and my computer is no slouch. I get extreme stuttering every few steps or when new assets load in. Whats the consensus on best version of Cemu to use, performance tweaks ect. (I am using the 4k pack I guess Ill try a lower one.)

Make sure you have gpu shader accuracy (or something like that im going off memory here) set to low in options. Enable gpufenceskip in the cemu game profile (i think i included one in the zip with it rnabled). That should really help with overall performance. As far as the stuttering is concerned, this happens whenever cemu has to generate a new shader. After this happens once it caches it in its shader cache so you wont get a stutter the next time the shader is used. You can either build your own cache by playing the game, or you can download someone elses. Just google botw cemu shader cache. Make sure the cache is for cemu version 1.8.0 and up or it wont work. You should be able to find something with 7k shaders which is most of them. The first time you run the game with a large cache it will take forever to load so be patient. The game is cpu bound so you shouldnt need to use a lower res graphics pack. Hope that helps. If you still have issues check reddit. There are a ton of guides and posts on how to get the game running properly.

Ok thanks. I am doing all that, have the hak running too. (appears too need to be toggled on when in game) Moved the game to my SSD. had already got the shader cache from somewhere following the guide to initially setup the game that I followed. I guess I might try a different version of Cemu (currently. 1.8.1b) Would be interested to know what everyone else is using with no problems. btw doesn't appear to be anything in the game profiles folder in the fix if that's what you are referring too

necropants, if you were limiting the fps to 30, change it to 60 or you will get half speed in 3D. Make sure you are using cemuhook and all that GPUFence stuff. I get fullspeed in 5k without problems.

Thanks guys. it seems my shader chache was the issue. found a much larger one on the net and let it recompile and the problem seems to have gone away. I don't see any fps options in Cemu though. So to my knowledge i'm not limiting it. I seem to have to turn that hak on ingame with Ctrl+alt+F though. Looks like if you add the following lines to the profile 00050000101c9400 (depending on version) [Graphics] disableGPUFence = true it works on startup

For anyone having low fps issues even with the right CEMU settings and using shader caches choose "Prefer Maximum Performance" in NCP for CEMU. If it'snt enough then disable Nvidia's Shader Cache in Control Panel.
When using GPUFenceHack, at least in 2D, the ingame 30fps cap is removed and instead it's 60, so the game can run at more speed than normal, especially in less demanding areas. So people usually cap Cemu with RTSS to 30fps. It seems that with this 3D fix, that limit has to be 60fps.

Right. Oh well those problems are now resolved in exchange for an equally worse one. Game devours memory ram until it crashes. (yes all 16gb of it.) usually hapopens within the first 3 minutes. Sounds like this is a common and well known issue. Sounds like no one else is getting that issue here?

How many shaders does your cache have? Mine is a bit over 8300, and my mother played the entire game. If you have one of those that are over 19000, they are a scam. When loading mine, RAM usage by Cemu is 8-9GB, IIRC.

Hi..i'm trying first to make the game run Ok in 2D...the game start (no 3Dfix installed yet) but runs about 20fps....what shadercache need to install and what mod?? i'm using cemu 1.8.1b I want to try this improved fake3D :) **Edit: in 3D the game runs at 15fps (half of the 30fps)...using GPUFenceHack.

Below is the shader cache I use, put it in "shaderCache - transferable": http://www23.zippyshare.com/v/sEfdXTSm/file.html Download cemuhook and put "dbghelp.dll" into main cemu folder. Put "disableGPUFence = true" line into 00050000101C9500.ini under Graphics line. Seems like you already did this, but anyway... https://sshnuke.net/cemuhook/ CEMU settings: - Set GPU buffer cache accuracy to low in options - Set CPU Mode to Single Core Recompiler (fast) GraphicPacks comes with the 3DV fix, you can use them without installing the fix. If you gonna use 1440p pack with 4K TV set Upscale Filter to bilinear from CEMU or the image will be terrible. Also do these:
For anyone having low fps issues even with the right CEMU settings and using shader caches choose "Prefer Maximum Performance" in NCP for CEMU. Thanks Lacuna, I confirm these settings. My Shader cache was about 8100 shaders so I think that side of it is ok. (I tired a few before settling on this one.) However initially I think my problem was the system was actually refusing to compile it properly. it was starting up straight away instead of spending 5 minutes or so compiling. I think to prevent unnecessary problems, it might be a good idea to get the consensus on what the best version of the various files is to use. I currently have 1.8.1b of the emulator itself. However the guide I read recommended an older version of the CEMUHOOK. Is everyone just using the latest?

Use the latest versuon of cemu. 1.8.2 preferably but 1.8.0 or 1.8.1 work fine just crash more and are missing a few minor effects. If you download a shader cachee make sure you use the shader cache from the same region e.g. us cache for us version of the game not the eu one. Otherwise it wont compile it. If you do download a cache for a different region you can rename the file. You shouldnt need to mess with any frame capper. Helifax added a 30fps frame cap to the nvidia profile that gets installed whem you run the fix the first time.
