Stereoscopic 3D not working
Hi, I am using GT730 2 gb graphic card, windows 8.1 OS, amd phenom 11 X6 1055t 2.8ghz processor, I have recently purchased acer x1320wh projector dlp 3d ready, resolution of the display set to 1024*768, but whenever i try to setup up Stereoscopic 3D from the nvidia control panel the resolution of the projector changes to native resolution i.e. 1280*800 and i am able to setup 3d in anaglyph mode and not in stereoscopic. Plz help me in getting Stereoscopic 3D and thank you for your time.

Did you purchase 3DTV Play or do you have a 3D Vision emitter plugged in? If not, you need one or the other to enable 3DTV Play. Windows 8.1 has also been known to cause issues. PirateGuybrush is more familiar with those.

If you don't have an emitter then you'll have to purchase 3DTV Play to enable S3D. Are you getting the 'Activate 3DTV Play' link in the control panel? for the trial of 3DTV Play? Pretty sure the issues with 8.1 are using 3D and not setting it up.

Not sure what's causing it, it could be any number of things. I tried searching for your model number and couldn't find any topics, maybe if someone else has the same model they can chime in. If it's an unsupported model you may need an EDID override to get it to work.

I have no idea about EDID, any steps for the same is highly appreciated.

Umm no, 3DTV will not work. 3DTV Play only works with HDMI 1.4 compliant 3D Projectors/3D HDTVs. A GT 730 is not a very capable GPU for stereoscopic gaming. You'll be lucky to play old games decently in 3D. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt-730/specifications If you had a 3D Vision emitter, you could use an EDID override. But without, your only choice is anaglyph gaming with Nvidia. You could use TriDef, but it's very demanding middleware and again your GPU will be way less than ideal.
