3d Vision in 3d Studio Max viewport? (not rendering)
Hey all. I was just wondering if there's any way to enable 3d Vision in 3d Studio Max. Sorry if this has been asked-and-answered. I really have searched for it and couldn't really find anything on it either way.
I'm using 3d Studio Max 2014 (x64) and the available display drivers are:
Nitrous Direct3d 11 (which is the recommended one)
Nitrous Direct3d 9
Nitrous Software
Legacy Direct3d
Legacy OpenGL
thx!

Here's the opposite of what you want, relatively recent. That suggests that it is possible to get 3D Max to work in 3D. Need to set the 3D Vision to Always in the control panel.

I don't know what those Nitrous drivers do, but Legacy Direct3D is probably what you want.
BTW, this is end-user consumer forums, no NVidia support here. I'm just guessing based on what I know about 3D Vision.

That's interesting bo3b, thx. Setting 3d to Always didn't work for me unfortunately, but I'll keep fiddling with it. Like I said, I'm currently using 2014 so it's entirely possible they've either changed something that's 'broken' it, or disabled it by now.
I'll post back if I have any success. thx!

It could be a Windowed Mode issue or perhaps that it doesn't have a Profile/GlobalProfile with the MysteryStereo Flag enabled... try adding it to the 3D-Hub Player.
