I only had limited choices as to what 3D ready Projectors I could purchase localy. It seems not many shops stock Projectors these days.
I bought the NEC NP215 because it is a 3D Ready projector. And the Specifications are "Identicle" to the NEC NP216 which is Certified for use with 3D vision.
Of course the 3D Vision Wizard did not find a compataible 3D display when I first installed the Projector.
I was able to Install a Modified ACER 5360 Projector Driver into Windows 7.
The 3D Vision Wizard now finds a compatible 3D Projector. The Wizard runs fine. I get 1280x720 @ 120Hz 3D mode. Problem is the Glasses need to be worn Upside down... Very annoying.
I then Installed a Modified NEC 216 Monitor Driver into Windows.
I can now get 1024x768 @ 120Hz 3D Mode and also 1280x720 @ 120Hz 3D mode. The Glasses are now the correct way up. Games run just fine.
However,
When ever I use 1280x720 or 1024x768 3D mode I have that box down the bottom with Red text saying I am trying to use a 3D Diaplay mode that doesnt support 3D. This is Very strange as the 3D Vision works just perfect other than the annoying message on the bottom of the screen.
Is their any way to dissable this Red Waring message ?
Is it possable for Nvidia to put full support for the NEC 215 in 3D Vision ?
I dont realy like using the Modified Acer 5360 Driver as it only allows 1280x720 which is Not the Native mode for the NEC 215. Native mode is 1024x768.
