X-Morph: Defense
I figure this game will look pretty nifty stereoscopic. https://youtu.be/q5Jc7CzZQGQ Has typical shadow issues with 3dvision. Looks like it uses its own game engine, not unreal or unity. DX11. Game doesn't have the option to fully disable shadows, so I tried slapping in 3dmigoto, but that causes it to crash. Any ideas? Here's the error that gets thrown when 3dmigoto files are in the exe dir in case this means something to anyone. I actually started working on a fix for this game a couple of days ago. I still need to clean up some stuff. But so far, it's looking ok. I haven't had any crashes with 3Dmigoto yet. In the d3dx.ini file, try changing "allow_platform_update" from "0" to "1" and see if it helps.

That flag does keep it from crashing but for some reason I can't cycle/mark shaders in this game. Oh well, I'm not too worried about it if you're working on a fix. Looking forward to it! No rush, I've got plenty of other games to play in the meantime :)

When you get a chance, can you check and see if this fix causes the game to crash: https://s3.amazonaws.com/4everAwake/3Dmigoto_X-Morph_Defense.zip What this mod does: - Fixes shadows, lights, 2D textures & haloing issues - Places the HUD & UI at a fixed depth. (HUD & UI depth value can be changed in the d3dx.ini file) Installation: 1. Download the above ZIP file & extract it into the directory that has the game's EXE file. For example: "..\X-Morph Defense\Bin\" 2. Run "X-Morph_Launcher.exe" (in the Bin directory). 3. Where it says "Full Screen", select "Borderless Window". All other graphics settings can be maxed out.
When you get a chance, can you check and see if this fix causes the game to crash:
Just gave it a shot. Cleaned up all the 3dmigoto files from when I was messing around and pulled in your fix. I get the same crash message as the one I originally posted. If I set the "allow_platform_update" flag it doesn't crash but the fix doesn't seem to apply. Shadows are still funked up.
