I have PJD6210-3D too, works excellent in 3D (only at native 1024 x 768 120hz), 4:3 is good for games; my next step (with a hardware upgrade) will be a 1080p HDTV (Mitsubishi), idont know if a rear projection is better than a projector, for example in 72 inches screen.

First off i've been totally hooked on projection since i got my first lcd projector in 04' you just can't beat having a 8 foot screen on your wall. I currently rock a crt projector and have yet to see better color and contrast for movies. I am however looking at the dlp projectors for 3d gaming with no ghosting. My old school crt projector is fast enough for 3d but you have to accept the ghosting that comes with crt. Also the reason projection tv's are brighter is that they are rear projection and the light is going towards you rather then with a standard projection theater screen that is lighting up a screen in front of you and bouncing the light off it which requires controlling your rooms light levels to prevent the image contrast from washing out (hence why crt projection with true black is still awesome).
One thing about this thread is that there is NO NEED FOR HDMI to a projector. if you don't know what hdmi is it's one cable that carries your digital video and audio. why would you send audio to your projector to then have to run the audio to your sound system?? your audio needs to go to your digital surround sound system which is why very few projectors have sound and if they do the sound is ment for office presentations not home theater. if you don't have surround sound then look into it. Surround sounds aren't expensive anymore and your going to miss the other half of having a rocking theater/gaming setup. digital sound output is almost standard on any decent motherboard now. i've always used my projector with a computer, and yes the tv tuner quality does vary. do yourself a favor and get the best image quality tuner you can afford. but remember part of the reason tuners have never looked well is because the image has been 680x420 and no one runs thier monitor at that low of resolution and as anyone knows when you blown up a low res image to a higher res it's going to look like blocky crap. So if your running a 1024x720 projector you will appreciate the HD signal and will probably notice the difference when you watch non hd video.
Acer H5360 sounds promising, and only $700 on New Egg. Now I'm looking into my options for watching TV on it. A TV Tuner card in my PC and an HDTV antenna would get me some of the major network channels, I believe. Does anyone use their projector to watch TV? Any experience with this?
Buy it, but not from Newegg like I did. It was shipped by its vendor, there was no wrapper box like Newegg warehouse usually used, and the box arrived looking like it went thru some MW2 maps. Luckily there was a layer of bubble inside, and the machine was also placed in the carrying bag, so nothing was damaged. I see PC Nation offers H5360 at a much lower price with free shipping, so maybe that's a better choice.
