So why has convergence adjustment stopped working?
Reinstalled 3dtv play and also my geforce drivers from scratch, but now once in game ctrl+f5 and ctrl+f6 is not working in order to adjust the convergence while in game.
And yes I have checked the "enable advanced in-game settings". I also tried to change the shortcut keys and still it doesn't work with my 3d games. I can still adjust the depth with ctrl+f3 and ctrl+f4.
Any suggestions?

Yes, tried with 3 different games, and all of which have worked before. Just like when you can see the depth bar changing, I used to be able to see the convergence bar changing.
Try deleting the 'temporary' NVIDIA folder (C:\NVIDIA) and then doing a clean install.
I first uninstalled all the nvidia drivers, then when I downloaded the latest and installed them, I checked the box "perform" clean installation. Shouldn't that be the same basically? But I can give it a shot, deleting the nvidia folder as well that is

there is no convergence bar. you may have to hold the shortcut keys for a while if the convergence is very low.

I've never seen a convergence bar. Are you sure that the convergence isn't simply being changed in value as you hold down the specified keys?

Did someone say bar!? :)
I've heard of people having issues when trying to install/clean install and deleting the NVIDIA folder cleared it up for them. My guess something happened when decompressing the drivers and when you reinstall it's just using the same ones that are already there instead of actually starting fresh.
