Monitor vs 3DTV and other questions. Looking for advice on possibly upgrading to 3D Vision.

so checkerboard magically allows HDMI chips to suddenly display full HD- even though its common knowledge that HDMI chips cannot do full HD 3d? Right roller, the bs is getting deep. Im so glad this 2007 tech has finally been discontinued. now u will have to find something else to stroke your epeen with.
i have checkerboard, its cool, but I prefer the DLP projector and 720p more. more fill rate, more AA, and 130" scree and zero ghosting does it for me. to each his own.
ive had 3d monitor, 3d checkerboard tv, 3d panasonic plasma and DLP 3d projector. I would reccomend to go with a 120hrz monitor original poster. its way cheaper, and actually has 1080p 3d. the samsung is highly overrated for the price, IMO (i could get a 70" DLP for the same price as a 40" sammy- and the DLP has zero crosstalk)
the biggest issues with monitors are the levels of ghosting (which the sammy has too). research a monitor that has the smallest amount of ghosting (AKA crosstalk). save your bucks for the better 3dtv's that will come out some day and actually do 1080p 3d. My experience with new 3d tvplay and the top of the line 3dtv's was poor, do to high levels of ghosting, and buyer regret (DLP still works the best for large size screen 3d). dont be duped by the marketing hype with this generation 3d tv.
one thing to consider is that MMORPGS might actually play ok at 1080p24 3d on a 3d tv, as you dont need the high frame rates that FPS shooters need. basically, could you game at 24 FPS? because thats the best you can get besides the half resolution checkerboard and SBS modes running at 60hrz.
also- checkerboard needs to be hacked to work on the sammy with 3d. unless new drivers changed this. checkerboard only works on DLP with nvidia. others have hacked the sammy's to work, so read up on that if you decide the sammy is best for you.
