Okay....so now I'll go back to Hurrying up and waiting........
Or you could sell your motherboard and video card and go ATI Eyefinity.

A very simple solution really.

Can't say I blame you. Especially since I was forced to ask questions on this specific forum because Nvidia decided to label their official triple monitor support, "Nvidia 3D Vision Surround".

Actually there are 2 labels; 'Nvidia 3D Surround' for 3D vision on 3 monitors & 'Nvidia Surround' for 2D multi-screen display on as many screens as you have video ports.

Current info seems to be the drivers will be out in a couple of weeks when the GF4XX cards are released to market.

so, is there any news about nvidia surround release date? the date on the nvidia page was april 2010. it's may already, but this thing is still "coming soon". how soon?

i'm just in the middle of decision: to buy one more gtx 260, or go with ATI 5850. i'm still hoping, that i won't need to get out of nvidia.

that was two weeks for another 197 release not the 256 that so many are looking forward for.

I am more interested in profiles for new games rather than the 3d sorround. Alot of ppl are going ot be disapointed with frame rate performance when it does come out. I don't mind gaming with 30fps but others want the full 60

i don't care about 3d vision, but i really want surround. if i understand correctly, it's a successor of the nview technology, that nvidia screwed its customers up with, stopping to support it in vista and win 7.

for now i'm in the middle of the big decision: to keep loyalty to nvidia, hoping that they will realize this as they promise, or to go with ATI with their existing and already being sold eyefinity. i do not want to go the second way - i don't like ATI, but what could i do then?

If you're attempting to correct someone, might I suggest you do so correctly?

If you go back to the original posting you find:
We should be releasing a newer driver within the next couple of days but it is still from the 197 branch. This driver provides better compatibility with the game APB.

that he covered the release of 197.75 and 256 at the same time.

Sounds to me as though you've already made up your mind and just want everyone to know how impatience got you to that point. Enjoy your new hardware from ATI...
