When I connect the pc directly to the TV everything works fine.
However when I connect it through the receiver the tv will switch resolution, and then switch back and display an error message saying isActivated returned 0.
My receiver ( http://nadelectronics.com/products/av-receivers/T-748-A/V-Surround-Sound-Receiver ) is 3D capable, and the hdmi-cable between it and the TV is also hdmi 1.4
Is there any way to troubleshoot why 3D only fails when passed through the receiver? The TV will also report the resolution as 1280x720p 3D before it flicker's back to the native resolution.

I'm guessing you are thinking about the "SUPPORTED HOME THEATER RECEIVERS" tab.
It says that "3DTV Play software works with home theater receivers that support HDMI 1.4 3D inputs. You can connect your PC directly and let the receiver switch between compatible HDMI 1.4 devices." Is there any need for the receiver to support anything else than HDMI 1.4 3D? Or does the driver need to support the receiver in some special way?

"Or does the driver need to support the receiver in some special way?" Yes, your pc(3dtv play driver) needs a connection with a supported receiver from the list. I think the line you quoted IS misleading, they mean hdmi 1.4 receivers on the list below.

You'll probably have to submit the EDID along with a little detailed information. Like they require for adding a 3D HDTV http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2774
Here's a thread where getting a receiver added is discussed http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=199114

Make sure you add the EDID as a bin or txt file, which ever they ask for, it'll speed things up. I think they ask for bin file but then they ask for the txt file, a lil confusing, basically the same thing, I sent both.
