The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Attached alpha 0.11: https://forums.geforce.com/cmd/default/download-comment-attachment/65151/ Changes since 0.10: - Fixed a number of dcl_temps to one greater than the max temporary register used (may improve stability?) - Fixed hairworks glitch at depth W==1 (no more hair flying sideways) - Rain drop shader is enabled again by default, set x1=1 in the d3dx.ini to disable it. - Bundled with 3DMigoto 1.1.24 with support for fixing tessellation shaders in assembly thanks to Flugan :) This is a candidate for final release on the blog. Please give this a good smoke screen test and if there are no show stoppers we can post it on the blog (@Mike - I'm happy to post this unless you would rather do it? I'm intending to post it tonight). @Flugan - I'm intending to post your variant of the fix as well since a number of people report that it is more stable. Please let me know if there are any updates we need to the dll (the support for more ini params would be one, but won't really matter if it's missing as the shader should just default to enabled).
Thanks guys!! If you or Bob, or Mike are interested in a steam key for Archam Knight let me know and I'll send you each one. I have 2 steam keys I'm willing to give to you amazing guys for fixing this and many other games. I know Archam Knight is a shit show right now, but I expect them to re-release a more polished version ASAP, and of course you guys don't even have to bother with fixing it or anything, even though it would be great to eventually play in 3D as I've loved the previous Batman games in 3D, but of course there is not much point even attempting to fix anything at this time for obvious reasons, but I think one the game is fixed, it will be great game.

I think AK is a more wait and see if they actually fix it, before the guys are concerned about 3dvision. I am huge fan of this series, but I refunded mine and will not bother unless the re-release is vastly improved.

I experienced some weird things today with the Witcher 3. I intalled the new fix and everything was just fine. Only when I was loading a new map, the shaders were breaking in the sense that there was something wrong with the shadows and some kind of strong and dark ghosting around the characters. So quit the game and wanted to reload. But then after some seconds I got a bluescreen crash... this happened twice. And now Steam thinks the game is not installed and wants me to install the 22 GB again??? But game is clearly still installed...

Brilliant work guys! Here's a quick tip for those of you who want to play the game with no HUD at all (even those annoying talk and interaction icons!) This will actually work with any game that makes use of separate values for HUD convergence. If you set the HUD convergence to some ridiculous value like 100 it will push the HUD completely off screen. I have this set to a hotkey that toggles it on and off. This way i can play with the health bar on along with any other HUD elements i need and when i don't need them i can just hit the hotkey instead of having to go in through all the menus and turn each one off manually. Just add the following to d3dx.ini: [Key1] // or any other free slot Key = p // or any other free hotkey type = toggle x = 100.0

Fix is up: http://helixmod.blogspot.com.au/2015/06/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt.html @Flugan - I haven't posted your version yet (right now I need to get some sleep). If you give me a link to the latest version I'll update the post. @mrorange I'm pretty sure that problem of the shaders breaking is a driver bug. I haven't had it cause a bluescreen before - the worst that's happened to me is a crash to desktop. Definitely seems to be perturbed by loading screens whatever it is. If the acf file for the game is still present, quit Steam then edit it and change StateFlags to 4 (you will probably want to verify the game files afterwards). If the acf file is missing and you tell Steam to install the game to the same library it is already in, Steam will discover the existing files and should only redownload any files that are corrupt - it will still tell you it needs 22GB, but shouldn't download anywhere near that much (unless the game files are totally hosed).
