I have to see if maybe nvidia drivers updated with better sli profile or something. @Joohan I just posted it to see if people run into any issues. I said I didnt touch hud, yet. Its going to take a lot of time. I am having issues fixing through vertexshaders. Which is how I normally fix games. This has to be done entirely through pixelshaders [wierd issues otherwise]. Takes ALOT longer, so going to have to wait.

non-sli. I thought Smoke was good for me. I didn't change profile, so what is "normal profile" for you, is it the "global driver profile" in nvidia inspector?

Nah, its smoke. Not shadows. I just fixed it. I dont know how but lensflares are probably non-sli issue. I will have to look into it but should be able to resolve. I "thought" you werent using right profile because you had lensflares at wrong depth, I think thats non-sli related now.

I've noticed this game is pretty poorly optimised - there are random slow-downs or stutters on both dx9 and dx11. I have 2 x titans 2 5760x1080 and definitely SSS causes dramas - more so in dx9. But I would like to know what is causing the stutters, and whether its just driver issue - also using win 8.1. Eqzitara when you say you was modding the HUD what do you mean - is you work all just visual? I have issues with the menu's being Vert-, but I can adjust the ingame HUD to be centred via tweaking the constraints in the xgame.ini.

Yes you are correct about hud. This game was all messed up as far as working on it. I normally make seperate crosshairs via textures which basically lets me do whatever I want with anything as long as I sort it. This game had wierd issues which prevented me from sorting textures[which lets me do things like this http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/eqzitara/image/51e246ad0f3530be0b000046/#fullscreen ]. I had to seperate it via position on screen [kind of like punching a hole into hud screen]. Which causes some slight hud distortion. Game was a huge pain in the ass to fix [not fun either] nor could I get a full dump which prevents me from knowing if the rest of the game is fixed. Game will run like crap at max settings. I wasnt having stuttering but slow downs in "physx areas" were apparent. I read on steam forums that a solution for the stuttering was to turn off in-game vsync but to leave it on in nvidia control panel. Though there is a lot of placebo effect on steam forums when a game comes out *shrug* Turn off the Screen space reflections in options and you will see a 200% fps increase. I also turned off cloth physics. It seems like the "nvidia-card" features SS Reflections[EXTREMELY] Cloth Physx Particle Physx Have optimization issues. I dont know if people claimed to be having 60fps or not just to see a patch but I was reading about its pretty unanimous on steam forums and thats just from 2D users. Only reason I kept working on it was because I turned off sli and turned off all 3 and confirmed I was still running at 60FPS. Even with SS reflections off with heavy physx's areas my 680 GPU's would reach 100% usage. Its a bit silly since game really isnt pretty. Borderlands 2 looked much more amazing and physx was much more "potent" and it ran like a dream in comparison.

You are right, the slow down - I thought appeared to happen randomly, but perhaps it is the physx - which might even explain some of the crashes. As for the SSR I can confirm at least a 30-40 gain in dx9, but not as much in dx11 - it seems to play nicer with 11. As for the game's overall look, I concur it certainly isn't the prettiest, but get out into some open areas, and it actually surprised me. I also found that the dynamic lighting is buggy as, but the game looks so flat without it. I've tried to tweak a few settings, but have either made some shadows look better, others worse. That vysc issue, doesn't stop the slow down on my computer - even if I play single screen it's like that - which I know is something buggy in the unreal engine. Bioshock infinite had it also, and there was a fix. I actually really like the game despite the fact - is that tweak that you released only for 3D gamers? Also how bad is the AA in this game - I can't seem to make it better through tweaks. I also find it strange that this game has dx9 and dx11 version and only on .exe, I've never come across that.

I havent tried to force any AA with nvidia inspector. It probably works since it works with all UE3 DX9 games. Could use sweetfx/injectsmaa to give better aa - guide here -> http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2012/08/guidehow-to-install-helixmod-game-fixes.html Just making sure since you seem to be a new user [might not be] You know what convergence is right? Its all the "graphic card" features that eat abnormal performance. I wrote about it earlier. I had Physx cloth + reflections off and areas with noticeable physx my 2 680's sounded like a leaf blower.
