Keep an eye on what? At what point in the future should we expect to see anything but an opening web page??

Some movies already support it. All the IMAX movies have stereoscopic movies that work exactly the same way.

Some DVD's have two video files that (view/angle/perspective button on the remote switches to the other parallel video files) use this technology. No word from NVIDIA if they'll work. Anyone have personal experience using 3D DVDs of flicks?

I would like to know the same thing. So far, the only 3D movies I'm familiar with are Anaglyph... They just don't cut it.. However the new Monsters movie coming out has the best effects form that kind of movie I've seen yet. The lens colors are much lighter than the darker red/green ones, so there is actually better color in the movie.

There are a bunch of movies on here. I would like to order one but I want to know if they will work with the 3Dvision setup. Also would I have to purchase another set of 3dvision glasses or could I purchase the cheap ones on the site if someone else wanted to watch as well?

Nice site, those movies should work, as they use the same technology. Their 3D systems are priced good too. I am thinking about placing an order but would like to know for sure if they work. At worst case, might have to order the cheap shutter system, but I'm pretty sure the 3D Vision system will work.

Since there is a stereoscopic video player included with the software, I would assume these movies work with it.

Anyone have experience?

NVIDIA can you please comment on what type of movies work with this?

Only part that bugs me, The nVidia 3D viewer does not have the ability to open a DVD as does the Stereoscopic Player that it's made from. I'm sure without a doubt that the Stereoscopic Player will work, but why doesn't nVidia include that option? Surely they wouldn't force us the purchase the other player if we want to watch a 3D DVD would they?

You only have to buy it if You want to watch 3D videos/movies which runs more than 5 (6?) min.
So for short videos it works free of charge.
It plays all the 3D videos/movies/DVD's.

They're making us pay for software to drive 3D movies?

I hate to say it, but NVIDIA owes 3D vision owners the ability to play movies in 3D when we buy the 3D Vision kit.

NVidia offers for free what seems to be a stripped down version of the "3D stereo player". For those of you looking at getting the IMAX 3D movies, such as the following:

Haunted Castle
Encounter in the Third Dimension
Ultimate G's
Alien Adventure
V-World Matrix
Puppetmaster
Talisman
Ape
Shrunken Heads
The Creeps-3D

(these aren't ALL Imax films, but they're same 3D tech)

they do work with the NVidia glasses. The ISSUE with them is that they're designed for the cheaper TV shutter glasses that operate on 60Hz screens. Thus, from all i've seen they're 60Hz. And what's worse, is that they run on an Interlaced-flipping method. Thus they're interlaced images with every other frame alternating between left-right eye every other horizontal row.

I'm having issues with the NVidia stereoscopic player also in that it's stretching the videos and will not maintain aspect ratio. Thus, they're 60Hz, interlaced AND stretched. Painful to watch. However, as stated they WILL work as intended otherwise.

I still need to try the non-Imax ones to see how they play out that I've got, but as for the actual Imax ones I KNOW they're interlaced etc.

The ones above I have purchased primarily through ebay. (Ultimate3Dheaven being one of the sellers)
