Hi everyone,
New member here looking for some advice.
Having recently gotten back in to PC gaming after a long hiatus, I've built myself a new gaming rig over the past 6 months (GTX 970, i5 4960K@4MHz, 16GB RAM). Last week, I bought myself a new monitor (primarily for playing Star Wars Battlefront but will be used for other games too). It’s a BenQ XL2411Z. I noticed when buying this monitor that it supports 3D Vision, and I thought - AWESOME! I’ll definitely need to check that out.
So, over the last day or two, I’ve started looking at 3D Vision 2. I see Star Wars Battlefront can be played with it, and now I’m thinking – that’s even more awesome!!! I’m sold on getting one.
Now here’s my dilemma: I’m looking at the recommended retailers of the kit on NVIDIA’s site – they’re all sold out. I Googled it and not really having much luck finding one (I’m UK based – only a handful of US stores seem to carry it).
Has this product been discontinued?
I see through Amazon Marketplace that there are 2 traders selling used kits in the UK. Is there nowhere I can buy a new kit from?
Are there any other places I could look for buying the kit?
Any advice on this is greatly appreciate – I definitely want to get in on the action here, just a bit bummed that it seems so difficult to get a hold of the kit.
Cheers

We've seen this comin, so i bought one spare from amazon this summer for £99.
You can hope for amazon to sell some more (not very likely these days), or snipe one "cheaply" of ebay.
There is more options on the bay from usa and china its your choice.
Price in the range £100-150 is reasonable imo, because soon you wont find it at any price.
Good luck mate
edit: some users here on the forum sugests that kits are sold out around christmas and will be back in stock, but the time will tell.

However, I'm not sure if you can get it separately. I bought mine from them, together with my new desktop PC, a year ago.

Well, my screenshot was made 1/2 an hour ago.
Ergo, the site is still offering the 3D kit.
The problem is, most probably, that you need to buy also a PC from them...
But, who knows, you might be able to convince them to sell you just the 3D Vision kit? :)

yah, I had a hard time finding the live chat link :)
I'm certain that it's just a supply issue.
People can always call the retailer and ask them if they have an order placed for restock and what their ETA is.
You can of course also order on amazon.de and amazon.fr, etc... just check them regularly. At the moment they seem to be out of stock. Really weird and very expensive. I seems I also missed the moment to get myself a spare glasses... and funny actually to read some of the amazon comments, which are mostly positive, but some are surprised that they actually needed a NVIDIA GPU - haha oh dude...

Thanks everyone for the information. I chatted with NVIDIA live chat earlier, and they gave me a UK sales line to call. Will try it tomorrow. Have also sent a PM to Josh@NVIDIA.
I just panicked earlier thinking that it was no longer available.
