I really can't wait for this to get fixed. I've been really looking forward to teh game, but i'm not going to play it until i can play it right. it'd be like watching an epic movie on a black and white tv set...

Is there anyone here, who can confirm that 3D Vision is working (using the "rename the AvP.exe to AvPx.exe"-fix) with the Retail-version (not Steam-version).
It seems to me that 3d Vision only doesn't work with the steam-version!?

This fix works for me with my retail version.
For as far as I know now I have to launch the DX9 version from steam otherwise it just stay's 2D
Some lights or light effects seem to be at wrong depth, but I did not try to clean this up in graphics options yet, so I don't know if this is even possible. First I wanted to let you know 3D works for me with the retail.

The fix works on the retail version but I don't think it is worth the effort.
Just played as a marine for a while, but there are too many issues with lights. Even light from the flashlight is at wrong depth.

Bloody's new launcher worked for me, however I never tried to follow his settings-guide and adjust the settings so the lights and shadows made the game quite unplayable. But it did get the game to launch with 3D and someone else might confirm that with the adjusted settings the game is playable too.
