I kind of have everything to start 3D gaming but one thing,a desktop.
I was wondering if you guys could recommend me a gaming Desktops that will run 3D smoothly.I can't build my own(work & Kids)
I dont have allot of money to spend,so anything cheap but powerful is welcomed.
I'm going with the Acer 3D Monitor,I also have another question. If I buy a 3D Bluray player will I be able to watch the movies in 3D(Monsters vs Aliens 3D) with the 3D monitor ? Or do I need an actual fancy LED 3D to watch the movies ?

Whatever you do, dont buy an Alienware. Worst decision I made in a long time.
As far as the Bluray player on the monitor it depends. Most 3d monitiors use dual-link dvi for 120hz, where as a new bluray player will use a single hdmi 1.4 so that wouldnt work. You could put a blu-ray player in your shiny new desktop though and watch in 3d that way. Plus internal blu-ray drivers are much cheaper than standalone players.

Note that you are wanting to use a ACER 1080 monitor in 3D, alot of GPU power will be needed, and the GTX 470, will do well there. To be running 3D at 1080 won't come cheap.
Or you can look at there other PC's they do:

To watch Blu-rays in 3D you will obviously need the 3D monitor and glasses, with a Blu-ray Drive, but you will have to buy the software, at the moment (i think cos i'm looking for it to) there aren't any players/software to play Bluray in 3D, but i do know that PowerDVD will be releasing there's soon with the PowerDVD 10 Ultra, at the moment it's only DVD -> 3D.
Also to watch blu-rays in 3D a Quad core CPU would definately help you there.

I have a AW2310 Monitor and its the best monitor i've owned and seen.
But if your talking about their desktops, then its a different story.
Yep, desktops. I have an newer aurora and for the most part its built with crap. Oh well, you live and learn, I chalk it up to noobism. I now feel competent enough to build my own computer next in a year or so.
