Hi, like many other users, i got serious flickering/blinking problems when i use my 3d Vision System.

My config:
Pc1:

Pc2:
DELL XPS 1730 with intel E9300, 4gb ram 667mhz, dual 9800GT sli 1gb, 2x WD 7200rpm raid 0

and

Kit Samsung 2233rz + nvidia 3d vision kit

I have tryed the following games: Prototype, Aion, Borderlands, Resident Evil 5, Oblivion, Fallout 3, NFS Shift, Batman Arkham asylum, Bioshock 2, C&C 3, Red Alert4, Dragon age origins, and in every game i
have seriously flickering/blinking problems.
I made the following test:

- tryed 2 pc: notebook + desktop
- tryed 2 os: vista x64, seven x64
- tryed all the config of hz: 100,110,120
- tryed to set all details to low
- tryed to turn off all lights
- tryed the 3 options of the IR (only 1 IR, multi IR, multi 3d vision IR)
- tryed 5 differents driver release by Nvidia (the newest too)
- tryed all the usb ports
- tryed deactivate all IR items in my room
- changed the 3d vision kit with a new one
- tryed install driver 1.20 after using Driver Sweeper
- tryed remove every USB device except the IR emitter
- tryed manually install the driver of the samsung monitor (from the samsung website)
- tryed EDimensional activator
- tryed change CPU on my maximus formula (used a q8200)
- tryed use the Nv GPU Pro software

but flickering / blinking, still here.

Can you help me?

thats weird

are you in direct sunlight in those situations?

try creating a custom res in the NV control panel and under timing look for reduced blank
i used to have blinking problems but i can game for hours without any now

if that doesent work
i heard nvs next driver has something to do with blinking problems but i cant confirm it for sure
thats weird

I dont understand so good what you suggested.
Anyway, how to ask supporto directly to NVIDIA?

Make sure you are not using a USB hub, front ones, use a different USB plug to connect the IR receiver. I recommend you use one of the back USB plugs connected direct to your motheboard. Avoid USB hub's, cause they can cause some serious blinking. I had this problem the first day I tried 3D Vision, but after I did this job, no more blinking and 3D Vision rules now.
Make sure to set the IR receiver right in front of you, don't block it with anything, make sure the glasses are looking directly to it. Any obstructions on the receiver can cause blinking.

Sli may be a part of the problem. I know when i use only 1 card of my GTX295 i eliminated the flickering issue in some games. I know some game like Prince of Persia flicker a LOT more than other one.

Not really, I use SLI enabled for my 2 GTX 280's and never had issues with blinking in any game. Try changing the USB port like I said.

For me, i had to turn off my second monitor because when the game starts and changes to 3d the flickering started....weird eh. I have a 42" plasma in the room also but it does not affect the glasses. Befor i figured this out i would use the usb charging cable and keep it plugged into the glasses and left my second non-3d monitor on, which did stop the flickering too.
