Heh! I think that Tushaar and Gryzor are agreeing.
Based on the performance problems, I'd suggest waiting for a few days at least to see where it lands. We wasted a little bit of time with WatchDogs because of that.
For anybody interested in fixing it, please do. It reportedly has some advances in the game engine, but in general, Mike's AC4 fix should be a great template to start with. Both are AnvilNext game engine.

Certainly none of the spoilt brats who keep pestering folks like you and take your work for granted.
Opening threads before a game is even released and trying to ramp up pressure or even flat out making demands is a surefire way to piss people off.
Guys, quit acting like you're entitled to a fix for your favourite game and show some respect.[/quote]
Well for the last 2.5 years I've been reading this forum daily, and for the most part you always get a thread ahead of release either asking if anyone knows if 3D is supported, sharing links to other forums to request support, or enquiring if anyone is up for a fix.
In this thread so far I've seen no spoiled demands or people putting pressure on our "fixers" to work their magic.
The worst of the demands or ignorance are on the helixmod download site, and the replies there are often as blunt as the original rude and ignorant demands (and rightly so).

Sorry I may have caused some confusion - I was genuinely under the impression that someone may have expressed an interest in fixing this (because of the language used in earlier comments). I often post from my phone so my comments might be brief. Bo3b and I are currently discussing our next project so understanding who might be interested in each game is part of how we decide. As bo3b notes above, we have the AC4, AC3 and AC Liberations fixes for someone to use as a basis for ACU for one of the newer modders to have a go at?

If the engine is indeed similar to the ACIV people can just use mike's previous fixes and apply the pattern over unity. I'm not getting the game for a bit but once I do I'll definitely try out mike's patterns and see if that will work.

Apologies for trying to speak on your behalf then, Mike :P
I guess my message is just to appreciate the time you guys invest, in order to make 3D Vision such an amazing experience for us all.

It has many, many bugs. I've not personally tested it, but apparently performance is pretty bad on even top-end PCs. Even the consoles can't maintain 30fps. The reviews of the game itself have been pretty mediocre, too.
I'm a fan of the series, but I probably won't pick this one up until it's $20, and only if performance has been fixed. Even then, it's a maybe.

Just tried this on 2x Titan Z's and my rig is crippled to 13fps in some scenes, even cut-scenes drop as low as 23fps. I think UBISOFT may have shot themselves in the foot!

What's the performance hit like in 3D? It kinda sounds like this one is CPU bound, so I wouldn't be surprised if 3D doesn't take much of a hit.
Also, are you on the latest drivers? They apparently include an SLI profile.

Hey bud, yep I'm running 344.65 drivers and it's definitely using SLI.
Not so sure about the CPU cores, my chip is overclocked to 4.6ghz at the moment though which should be enough! My brother spoke with John Bain (TotalBiscuit) and he was saying his 980's struggle as well, pretty sure his setup would cripple mine given his CPU is newer.
