But it was informative, especially when they tried out the various control schemes available. The other excruciating thing was their lack of experience with 3D. Thanks for this, I watched the whole thing.

The lack of chemistry between the three was excruciating. But it was informative, especially when they tried out the various control schemes available.

The other excruciating thing was their lack of experience with 3D. I'm glad they enjoyed it, but I wish I could have told them why interpupillary distance matters. But they got the main point- 3D looks great.

I think PDP(plasma) also works for checkerboard

DHR is there any fix for real time shadows? They are incredibly annoying since almost every character in the city has wrong shadows, a pity since the rest of the game looks so good. Also, my computer crashed while trying Battlefield 3 with Tridef, and now I cannot get 3d vision to work, specifically 3d tv play. I can enable stereoscopic 3d on nvidia settings and everything looks normal, and the 3d test works, but games don't, even though 3dtv play seems to be installed properly, any suggestions?

Well I reinstalled nvidia drivers and everything is fine again with 3d vision / 3d tv play. I think I'll wait for a profile that fixes BI real time shadows, the game is really playable with DHR profile but I want to play BI in the best shape possible. Power 3d works better than I expected, I tried FEAR 3 with it, which is horrible with 3d vision, and it was decent, with nice depth, not close to real 3d but it's an option when real 3d doesn't work well. @birthright, disable dynamics shadows in-game menu or/and in XEngine.ini (with the lights fixed now the others shadows with issues are fixed also), disabling Dynamics shadows not completely remove shadows, there still others (static) shadows that works fine..... i try to fix shadows, there is 2 source that produce shadows, if i fix one source the other breaks, and viceversa...i dont know if possible to fix this, Tridef render have to separate this 2 source in order to fix....tbh i dont know its possible. Not always works great...also you have to spend a lot of time testing.....the values i post its after hours of testing. Tridef its an alternative, if you're a "3D FAN" its a must have both softwares, specially now that DX11 its the future in gaming...

Power3d doesn't only put the screen at depth - it calculates the other view using the depth buffer. Still not even close to real 3d, but it's better than 2d.

I made sure I chose the FEAR 3 profile, but still it looked really bad. When set TriDef, 3D VISION not automatically! ALWAYS have to press Ctrl T (the default) for the game.
