We can never guarantee when or even if a game will be fixed. Mike has been working on it as you can see reading back through this thread and I am currently downloading it to give him a hand. Unfortunately it's been raining all week here which has slowed my Internet connection down to a snail's pace so it's taking a while...

Guys you are killing me!!! I waited with the Arkham Knight purchase until it was clear that the PC version was a mess and totally unfixable in this state. Then I bought the PS4 version instead to play it via Remote Play on my Xperia Z4 tablet at my girlfriend's apartment. I started with the game just to get the info the next day that the PC version will be pulled from hte market and that a fixed version is to be expected somewhere down the road. So I got new hope for a possible fix and instantly put the PS4 version back on my shelf. I then followed this thread and everything concerning the PC version of Arkham Knight very closely. The news weren't quite positive speaking of a major update that didn't really address all the issues and later even more important the total abandoning of SLI support. So judging from the comments on this thread I figured that the SLI-abandoning was the point where the chances for a fix that even seemed unlikely before the SLI-abandoning (because of performance issues still being apparent) were nearly non existent now. So yesterday I decided to begin with Batman on the PS4 for the second time and I played for roughly 3 hours. When I had a look at the forum this morning I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the updated Batman thread and Darkstar's info that he is about to have a look at the game. Although that is exactly what I wanted from the start I was like "NOOOOOOO, not again!" at first. Because now that I know that our fixers still have a keen eye on the game and still are planning on fixing it it is impossible for me to go on with it on the PS4! Now I will start with Metal Gear: Phantom Pain on the PS4! Please don't tell me someone is looking at this game too!? Last time I checked Flugan was involved with this game but hit a wall somehow and stopped trying to fix it, right ;-)

Has anyone who is using the 'rain' fix for 3d compat mode in surround notice that with the dec 17th (I think) patch using this 'fix' crashes the game as soon as you call/try to enter the batmobile? I went insane yesterday trying to figure this all out and it turns out removing the fix was the ONLY way to play the game, I installed the very latest driver 361.43 which screwed up Soma for me (sea floor blue in one eye) Anyway, if anyone can test this, or has any info PLEASE let me know! Thanks Also, To Mike, DarkStarSword & anyone else involved in trying to fix this great game! ~nutz

Another delay has been that I have had no time to work on it, anyway. And a further issue is that I got stuck ;-) Scarilly, I almost lost my complete fix last week when I reinstalled my OS on an SSD (1000 shader fixes...) but managed to scavenge a backup that I had forgotten about. Phew. Anyway, with Darkstarswords help and his much better knowledge of 3DMigoto's new features - because he wrote them - I am hopeful that we can track down the core fix for shadows and lights, and then automate a full fix. HUD is mostly 2D in this game as well, so unless it is like Fallout4 with all coupled HUD elements, that should not be a problem.

GREAT news, Mike! I will gladly put the PS4 version back on the shelf then....again! The last three Arkham games were just too awesome in 3D on my Sony HMZ so I never could enjoy the game while there is at least a glimpse of justified hope in the back of my mind for a fix!

Very good news Mike. There is nothing to say, you manage. I closely follow Batman's topic because I love the game and I dream to play it in 3D.

I finally fixed all the issues on the lights (these were super difficult): https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/766890/3d-vision/bo3bs-school-for-shaderhackers/post/4778156/#4778156 Mike has been working on everything else and it's coming along, but there are a lot of shaders so it will take time. The biggest unsolved issue is that of flickering geometry. Currently I suspect that it's busted occlusion culling, but if it is, it's not doing the same method that CryEngine 3 used for it.
