3d vision and 60hz screens?
Now i know they are pushing "you must have 120hz screens" out the ass. however! will the software work with a 60hz screen?

i know my frame rates will be stuck at 30fps, however thats fine for me! movies were only 24hz for the longest time(are they still?)! and ive locked game's FPS to 30 to help reduce motion tearing, i dont mind the fps!

i also know that some flicker might happen, and other interesting stuff from room lighting.

however i would like to know if the drivers will even run 3d on a 60hz screen... it seems it will on 1080P TV's so.... why not?

i mean if this projector is rated http://www.viewsonic.com/products/projectors/pjd5111.htm

why the heck arent normal 60hz screens?

if someone could shed some light on this that would be great!

Thanks!

That's a DLP projector, DLP can do 20.000 hz. Your LCD struggles to do 85. It takes some insane amount of tricks to get LCD 3d ready, you don't want to know about it . Besides , bad idea.

Check this topic for decent stuff:

That depends entirely on implementation, so im afraid not. But if you can get me DLP guts, we can talk about it. ;)
