Anyone know what this could be? The left hand side of my screen (And it stops exactly in the middle) while playing Battlefield all of a sudden has red and blue flickering stripes down it. They move with animations in games to. But they stay even in windows and even if I move resolutions and to 60hz. I've never had anything like this before.

Try the lcd conditioning option in the menu and see if it goes away. Something similar happened to my monitor and solved it this way.

Yeh this is whats happend to my acer in the last week.. its going in for repair becuase for the love of god i cant find a fix.

Its not drivers for me.. formattted swopped cards swopped screen swopped pc.

Dude that sucks, guess i got lucky that when it happened and didnt' cause any damage. It has not happened since so i assume drivers but you know what they say about assuming................
