Now I wanna to buy 3D projector for 3 movies and games (for 2D i got HD20) after reading some comparisons I got stuck between HD66 Optoma nad H5360 Acer.

I have 5360 and like it and it seems most of us 3d vision users do as well. Just keep in mind neither can play console 3d off the bat without an adapter.

I also have a H5360 and love it. It worked with 3D Vision without any issues from day one. I just followed the instructions that came with the 3D Vision kit and I was playing in no time. It's a quality product at a great price (I got a special on Newegg for ~$470). It also works great with 3D bluray. Seems like you can't lose with the H5360.

I have the HD66 and am very happy with it. I bought the ACER at first but mine developed the EDID error problem right away so I sent it back to Amazon for a replacement. They were out of stock at the time so I just cancelled it and got an HD66 instead. The HD66 now comes with a firmware update that makes it compatible with 3D Vision without having to do the inf trick work-around that the earlier models required. I have had it for a couple of weeks now and it has performed well. I really don't think you can go wrong either way. The Acer can be had for a cheaper price and as long as your unit doesn't develop an EDID problem I think that it is probably the better deal.

I am also looking for purchasing Acer I just scared about the EDID problem how can I know if it will happen? I used Optoma HD20 for a year and had no problems with it.
How often this EDID problem comes out? As i Am living out of US I will have problem with sending the projector back for replacement so I have to chose right one.

How does the noise of the Acer compare to the noise of the Optoma?

I didn't have the Acer for long but from what I recall it was about the same as the Optoma. Basically a non-issue. When playing a movie or game I don't notice it at all. When surfing the net like right now, I can hear it if I focus on it, but it generally fades into the background. When seated it is about 3 or 4 feet above my head. Noise is not an issue.

Unfortunately I do not think you can know if the EDID problem will happen. Before I got my Acer I read all about the problem and it still happened to me. All I was doing was trying out several different monitor setups because I was trying to figure out how to get my sound working from my receiver. This involved changing what monitor was set as extended display vs duplicate display and disconnecting and reconnecting monitors. At some point the Nvidia software would no longer recognize the monitor as 3d ready and I could no longer control the resolution or refresh rate of the monitor. I tried using the inf override trick but that did not work for me and so instead of bothering with it further I just returned it to Amazon with the intent of getting a replacement. I figured that since I had already gone through the process of trying to figure out what settings to use to set everything up properly I wouldn't have to do that again with the replacement Acer so hopefully I wouldn't develop the EDID error again. Since they were out of stock I just decided to try the HD66 instead. Obviously a lot of people have not run into this issue or there would be a ton more complaints about it. In your situation since you would have a problem returning it if you did get the EDID problem I would recommend spending the extra money and getting the HD66.
