Accumulative thread - 3D Vision and Acer 5360 out of snyc issue!
As some people (me inlcuded) have severe out of sync issues (double images with greenish/reddish color) when watching clips/movies with the 3D Vision glasses on the Acer H5360 3D-ready projector I want to start a new accumulative thread.
To keep it simple and short please post informations about

[*]your computer and your OS
[*]the version of the nvidia stereoscopic driver you are using
[*]the version of the stereoscopic player you are using

[*]it can't be caused by the OS as a clean reinstall of Vista 64bit didn't change anything but it even got worse!
[*]cables have an influence (with my 10m HDMI and a long USB cable to the nvidia emitter games get out of sync from time to time and with a short one they dont't) as the problem gets a bit better with a short cable but the out of sync issue with movies can't be solved completely.
[*]in my case unplugging the second monitor doesn't change anything
[*]it can't be caused by the movies/clips themself as the out of sync issue isn't reproduceable at the exact same scene and everybody has different clips which get out of sync!
[*]I think it can't be the Acer 5360 cause without glasses you don't recognize any colors anomaly on the screen
[*]different versions of the nvidia stereoscopic driver don't make a difference

It seems you've only tested dual stream 3D WMV files, which require a huge amount of processing power. An AMD X2 5800+ isn't enough for such a tast, although it's a bit strange it manages to playback the Nurburgring 1080p dual stream 3D WMV which is demanding. I've seen eye swapping and on my Zalman Passive Polarized 3D monitor and on my CRT, using a C2D processor E4500 at 2.2GHz but when i moved to an i3 530 problems were solved except the new video 3D Macroshow Peschke which is the most demanding 3D 1080P video out there, having an extremely high bitrate. I believe it has to do with processing power, otherwise you should check all different available connections (HDMI and VGA) along with different cables and lengths to rule out this factor.
This is the 3D video i was talking about on my last sentences: http://3dvision-blog.com/3d-film-peschke-m...-3d-demo-video/

odd, mine works fine when other screens are unplugged.
Did you try setting pj as default monitor and then reboot? How about swapping which DVI port you are using on your card?
From the effect it gives when it's not working I would say it's a sync issue between glasses > refresh rate > colour wheel.
It's not a lack of processing power, I would guess software (my guess is driver)
I have it too its so bad its unplayable. I have a quad SLI setup so I have plenty of power.
Glasses blink every 10-20 sec. and get out of sinc every 1 minute or so. I see green/red or the glasses completely turn off and on.
As a matter of fact Ive never had a 3d vision set that worked flawless -tried before with a 120 hz screen- I had 'blinking' issues there too.
I guess its just poor drivers
This has come back for me also.
I've got the same quad sli setup so might try removing a card to see if that helps.
UPDATE: Removing a card made no difference.
Is anyone else using Acer 5360 having any problems?
Would like to hear from anyone with a similar set up being able to run the How to train your dragon clip in 3d.

I've got the same quad sli setup so might try removing a card to see if that helps.
UPDATE: Removing a card made no difference.
Is anyone else using Acer 5360 having any problems?
Would like to hear from anyone with a similar set up being able to run the How to train your dragon clip in 3d.
