Read the page for 3DFixManager, a lot of work went into posting usable information pertaining to using it, as well as it's functionality.
http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2017/05/3d-fix-manager.html
There's also a link to the dedicated thread for your reading pleasure.

Now here's the page for BioShock 2
http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/03/bioshock-2-by-mana84-see-stereo-3d-on.html
Is this small amount of information too much to grasp for a manual install?
Description:
- Smoke and fog effects are fixed
- Lighting and shadow issues are fixed
- Water effects are fixed
- Reflections and refractions on glass surfaces are fixed
- Added 3d crosshair (based on real depth values)
- 3D HUD
The game had a lot of 3d stereo issued shaders, I've fixed thousands of them and I believe the fix should be 100% complete... make me know in case of other issues.
How to install/play:
- Extract "Bioshock2_fix.zip" archive in your "..\Bioshock\Builds\Binaries\" directory of the game, i.e. for steam version it's "..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Bioshock 2\SP\Builds\Binaries\".
- Start the game in DX9, i.e. create a shortcut for Bioshock2Launcher.exe, go to properties and append "-dx9" to the target field. Otherwise, if you have steam version, you can right-click on the game, click on properties->general->set launch options and add "-dx9" in the field.
I - key switches(cycle) HUD depth (3 variants).
U - key switches (cycle) depth presets (3 variants).
If you want to save your custom convergence settings press "U" and select required preset, set custom separation/depth settings , then press F7 and your settings will be saved in the config file.
Download:
Bioshock2_fix.zip
I get that it's a bit much, but you need to read some of this and comprehend it, not just gloss over it.
Once you get it working. Please post in existing game threads, instead of starting a new one. Also, there's a lot of information in the forum, if you look.
As said earlier you don't need to install the EDID override. Just import Joker's Edid file in CRU and also set the model ID in CRU(see my tutorial). But it's up to you. One way should work 100%. Enable Stereoscopic 3D in Nvidia Control Panel and look if "Optimized for Geforce" is available there.
Has anyone with a E6 or C6 actually verified this suggestion works?
Muojo does NOT need to do any editing of joker18's EDID! It works perfectly with both my 65E6 and 55E6, without modification. His next step after loading the EDID override is to setup 3D Vision via the NVIDIA Control Panel, and verify operation with the 3D test pattern. Then, test with games..

He should have been past this step. I think his main problem is that he isn't reading things. Or perhaps he's medicated/intoxicated.
But in case he didn't get the EDID installed.
The control panel should show a green Optimized for Nvidia GeForce logo with display type showing either Zalman or Acer (see picture)

I tried using Joker's latest EDID profile, the one from this post on page 19:
Just in case anyone interested.
I modified a bit the previous 65E6V Edid.
The previous one didn't accept 2160@60hz in some games, just 2160@59,94 which apparently my TV didn't really like. It had stuttering.
This one also support 7.1 PCM (for receivers) and works properly with default color setting in Nvidia control panel. Switches automatically to proper color space depending on content (HDR/SDR).
PS: This also got rid of the weird inputlag variations I was having, now it is a steady inputlag both HDR and SDR game mode. Compared to my IPS monitor it has 30 ms, so I think real inputlag is 40-45ms. I can't explain why it doesn't match the Rtings measurement.
But its for whatever reason saved as a tif file. It won't let me install it with the have disk option
EDIT: SO I copied everything from his override to a next txt file, was able to override it. But when I went to 3D Vision to enable it, it says "Failed to release D3DDev"
Is this because I have multi monitors 2 of which don't have 3D? Am i supposed to only connect one display when when I am setting up stereoscopic 3D?
Muojo - how does the NVIDIA 3D test pattern look in NVIDIA Control Panel (low ghosting, smooth motion, clean edges and colors)? Have you made all the correct TV settings (like disabling default OLED anti-image retention setting - this can cause L/R eyes to randomly flip), described in the links I shared? By the way, be sure to enable advanced in-game settings under Set Keyboards Shortcuts button, in Set up stereoscopic 3D window (to enable convergence - that is, perception of depth - changes for individual games, and for saving those changes).
With respect to flickering, 4K 3D gaming requires a lot of GPU and CPU resources. For example, I have 2080Ti for GPU and i9-9900X for CPU, to play recent games like Shadow of the Tomb Raider with more consistent and playable frame rates (like 25 fps).
In 3D gaming, you should always disable any Depth of Field in-game setting if possible, and I generally disable any motion blurring, as well.
I was able to launch the 3d Test pattern. The flickering issue (its like a shining flickering) happens around the edges of the objects in the 3D pattern. it happens when they are turning or moving. The Nvidia logo that spins has that flickering artifact around its egdes.
DOes anyone know what this could be from? I don't see a setting to disable anti image retention setting on my C6. Unless you mean the setitng called "screen shift"
My HDMI cable should be a good cable. it handles HDR 4K well. My current input is set as HDMI and it has Deep Color Enabled and I am using "defualt Nvidia settins"

If it's not a steam game then the path might look like this: G:\Rockstar Games\GTA 5. After adding the path click on button "search games" below. GTA 5 should appear in the list on the left then.
Sorry about this. I didn't see it. Was at work at the time. I can attempt it later but very discouraged by this flickering issue I get around moving objects.

I have uploaded whaat the flicker looks like through my 3D glasses on Youtube. I did it for the 3D test which isn't as bad as it is in games like Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY. I could't record with one hand and have another hand moving my joystick and another holding up the 3D glasses lol but if you pay attention to the Nvidia logo as it approaches me, you'll notice how the object flickers. You can notice it a little on the sub text at the bottom as well as they move:

The problem is Joker18 in post#285 did not include the simple instructions to remove .tif from the end of the file for unfamiliar people, like yourself.
The thing is, Nvidia's forums only allow uploads of photo files. So .jpg. png, jps, pns, tif must be added to the end of a file to post it.
So remove .tif from the end of that file. Thus, effectively making it an inf file, which is what is the proper format needed for EDIDs.

Yah, the test looks crappy, because it's a very low resolution, probably running at 720P, because of a failed override.

D-Man11 - great observation! I forgot to mention changing (reverting) file name to monitor file type (because of forum limitations). I do not think he has installed override correctly yet.
Muojo - again, is your cable 4K certified? All HDMI cables do not have the same performance - and the difference can be very subtle. When I received my new computer in January, I briefly had both computers connected to my E6 for testing. My old computer developed a new problem, where the display would go black randomly after 10-20 minutes, or whenever I would load graphics driver. After going black, it remained black after restarting, until I returned to Safe Mode. After hours of troubleshooting, problem turned out to be the HDMI cable I was using with my old computer - even though signal/display LOOKED good, the cable lost some critical data...

That's the reason why I told him to go the CRU way because it's much simpler. But he decided to bite into the EDID override way which obviously is too hard for beginners.
Honestly guys: If I was able to unlock "Optimized for Geforce" mode with CRU on a 3D Vision monitor, an active 4K projector and a 1080p TV which does not have any 3D features at all then why shouldn't this way work for the 4K LG LED passive 3D TV, too? It's up to you guys. xD I think I proved enough that it works but nobody wants to try that way. I cannot help then any more.

Paul I tried your way, believe me, and I only have 3Dtvplay option. It's not that I'm stubborn and I don't want to make things easy.
Perhaps is something specific to my system but I know in the past, before we were able to make the first 4K edid, we kept trying different modes of changing Display ID, model and other stuff without succes.
PS: CRU can be more dangerous for a beginner than an Edid that was already tested. You cannot go wrong, you either install it or not. With CRU you can mess with stuff that can leave you without an image on screen or break your TV.

It took MANY attempts to find something that actually works consistently. joker18’s EDID works great and is easy to use (the relabel step is a forum issue, and is much less complex than CRU info editing)...

I don't know. What I do know is that it handles HDR and 4K well. Never had any issues with it. This is the cable: https://www.monoprice.com/product?c_id=301&cp_id=10240&cs_id=3010101&p_id=15430&seq=1&format=2
I think I might have gotten that failed thing because I have 3 monitors, 2 of which are not 3D so when it tries to set it to the others it says faild. I did get the Nvidia 3d logo show up even after the "failed to release". I wouldn't have been able to run the test benchmark if i wasn't able to get it
It doesn't matter about the test resolution, this happens in my games in 3D. Thats what I'm tlaking about. The only game (I think) this doesn't happen in is good old Witcher 3. I have to check again but I don't remember it happening for Witcher 3

Any thoughts on that?

Muojo - the cable looks good. Does the flicker happen with the NVIDIA test pattern? Until you have a rock solid 3D test pattern signal, you should not proceed to ANY game. As far as I know, everyone with working E6s and C6s are using only the EDID method...
Pauldusler - you have been trying to be helpful, but your suggestion is too complex for beginner (and it has NOT been verified as working). He simply needs to rename joker18's file (see D-Man11's great comment above) and use it - with NO other editing. I already told him what a successful EDID override monitor name should look like in the NVC (NVIDIA Control Panel).

He simply needs to rename joker18's file (see D-Man11's great comment above) and use it - with NO other editing. I already told him what a successful EDID override monitor name should look like in the NVC (NVIDIA Control Panel).

Is this small amount of information too much to grasp for a manual install?
I get that it's a bit much, but you need to read some of this and comprehend it, not just gloss over it.
Once you get it working. Please post in existing game threads, instead of starting a new one. Also, there's a lot of information in the forum, if you look.

But its for whatever reason saved as a tif file. It won't let me install it with the have disk option
EDIT: SO I copied everything from his override to a next txt file, was able to override it. But when I went to 3D Vision to enable it, it says "Failed to release D3DDev"
Is this because I have multi monitors 2 of which don't have 3D? Am i supposed to only connect one display when when I am setting up stereoscopic 3D?
Sorry about this. I didn't see it. Was at work at the time. I can attempt it later but very discouraged by this flickering issue I get around moving objects.
I don't knwo if that is hardware or software issue. You don't have this flicker 2d?

The problem is Joker18 in post#285 did not include the simple instructions to remove .tif from the end of the file for unfamiliar people, like yourself.
The thing is, Nvidia's forums only allow uploads of photo files. So .jpg. png, jps, pns, tif must be added to the end of a file to post it.
So remove .tif from the end of that file. Thus, effectively making it an inf file, which is what is the proper format needed for EDIDs.
Yah, the test looks crappy, because it's a very low resolution, probably running at 720P, because of a failed override.

Only happens in 3D.
I used the EDID way because thats what most passive people were using. I can do it your way of course but I figured since most people here use EDID, they;d be able to help me troubleshoot anhy issues I have which in this case is the flickering thing I get in 3D.
Any thoughts on that?
Seems like the story goes back to 2015? Maybe CRU didn't work as intended to that time.
