3d stereo on laptop? HOW?
Hi everybody!
Is it possible to use 3d stereo on laptops?
I tried with geforce m series but it seems it doesn't work.
Do you know if it does work with the quadro m series?

The last vista drivers doesn't work with a dell laptop and geforce 8600m gs.

I just want a laptop configuration that allows 3d stereo, for example using the z800 HMD.... and I'll buy it! I need it very much:)

Thanks,
finegirox

I've asked the same question here a month ago without luck.

My idea was to try to find a driver combination that could run under Vista as it's what I have on my laptop.

Technically, if your laptop has an NVidia 3D card, you can do stereo. The problem is that current NVidia drivers lack much stereo features we need to run the Z800 for instance. Older drivers used to do field sequential etc. but they don't run under Vista so no luck here.

Sorry if I can't provide a definitive answer... Maybe someone else can provide a more precise answer as to what we could use version wise etc?

The best I can provide is to point you to this site for latest drivers for laptops:

Let me know if you find anything else.
Thanks
