Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Nixxes port

Thanks Blacksmith56 But if I'm reading the comments from the post you linked, they seem to say that lower = more depth, while you say bigger = more depth. So, for my 27", should I leave the value of your file, at 60? Or should I change to half of my screen size, as Eqzitara's and TsaebehT's comments seem to suggest. also , just to confirm, the bat file you attached is not the version talked about in that post, which constantly queries registries, it's just a "one off" registry change, until driver reset, right? I was trying to change the value myself manually, but I could not find that address, so I guess the bat also adds a registry entry for monitoroverride, right? Anyway, thanks all for your input.
Thanks Blacksmith56

@Zappologist I tried the bat file and find the lower value entered gives more depth also I found that you have to run the file as Administrator at else on my pc also below is a link to a utility that changes monitor size http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2015/10/advanced-3d-vision-configuration.html

I have tried increasing and decreasing the value and to be honest I can not see any depth improvements when I used the bat file before with dirt rally I decreased the number which is the monitor size and the depth increased. Is a reboot required ?

A reboot is definitely not required and lowering the monitor size increases the depth for sure but from what I'm reading here http://3dvision-blog.com/tag/monitor-size-3d/ the monitor size gets reset after running a game which is kinda strange since I've used this hack in the past a number of times and I don't really remember having that issue lol. Also I would manually check the registry path before running any .reg or .bat file just to make sure the path is correct.

Tried the depth hack, thanks Blacksmith, very interesting concept. It does indeed increase the "depth" of a scene, the distance between the objects, which is very strange to see. It is very hard to describe, because you never experience in reality (whereas a decrease of depth can at least be imagined - papercut books, or bad/flat 3D games LOL!). To my eyes, the effect "feels" like a FOV modification, difficult to explain. Anyway, I can confirm that at least on my Asus 27" monitor it is a decrease of the MonitorOverride value in relation to the real monitor value that increases the depth effect, not an increase. So for a monitor of 27" I've set the override value to 24 and I've clearly seen the increased depth in Vanishing of Ethan Carter. In Deus Ex MD it does not seem to work. Any modification I do beyond Helifax's values, either in the game's popup+depth values, of in the MonitorOverride, immediately flattens the depth. So I'll finish the game like this since it's an awesome game anyway, even if it's missing just a small little ounce of toyification to make it perfect.

Just finished Human Revolution and loved the game! I have now started playing Mankind Divided and hell this game is great in 3D! I totally recommend both games for who havent yet played them. This is the kind of game everybody who likes stereoscopic 3D should buy just to support the developers, coz its so rare for a game to have native S3D. It worth every penny! And I just love that I can play in high setting with 2x MSAA with 60 to 50 fps in SBS mode, funny thing is that the Human Revolution was running a lot worse on my hardware with drops to 30fps in some places coz of the CPU limitations of 3D Vision. Anyway just wanted to recommend these games and say that I am probably another fan of the Deus Ex now.

So in November, the devs released official MultGPU support for nvidia cards under DX12. The scaling is supposed to be phenomenal - far better than nVidia's SLi in DX11 mode. Has anyone tried this? How is 3D Vision performance? More details here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/337000/discussions/0/276237094310982343/ "[UPDATE 17-11-2016] Today we are officially releasing Multi-GPU support for DirectX 12 for NVIDIA GeForce® users. This will mean that the dx12_mgpu_preview Beta branch will be removed. We strongly advise players with NVIDIA GeForce® Multi-GPU capable systems to make sure that you have the latest driver installed and confirm that your SLI is active in your NVIDIA Control Panel."

@Blacksmith56: In the future please don't post my scripts, just link to OPs it'll save a whole lot of confusion... I mean if it works for you, it works for you but using 60 on a 24" monitor is basically dropping your depth down to 40%(PJ's at about 80%). @Everyone else: Here's the link to OP about MonitorSizeOverride... I'll remember that, didn't mean to harm anyone, just trying to be helpfull, and obviously didn't succed :) And sorry for the overall confusion I made, when I posted the above I actually hadn't used your dephthack for a while, and recently I started a fresh playthrough of Witcher 3, and thought it could use some more depht, so I ran the script and.... I got less depht ??? 20" to my 24" monitor was satisfactory ! But for some weird reason my PJ still must have greater numbers in order to get more depht, and that must be the reason why I concluded wrongly ???
