Downloaded the beta, turned on 3D and my first impression was that it's not THAT broken. Figured might even be playable with turning down some effects, or having them disabled in the shaders. I then proceed to search for the lighting shaders to see how difficult they might be to fix, and holy Jeebus, over 600 vertex shaders to cycle through! I've never seen more than roughly 150 active vertex shaders at any given time in a game. Strangely, only 150 pixel shaders though *confused face* (usually more PS than VS) Anyway, I find a PS that looks quite suspect as being the one to fix, take a look, and it actually looks quite promising! Seems like the VPM and IVPM are readily available right in the PS (always nice to have the tools you need handy, and not have to get them from somewhere else). Could fairly easily recognize the pattern. Tried fixing it, and it didn't fix the shadows off that bat. Didn't want to spend too much time on it, so just decided to leave it for now and try out the game for a bit in 2D, and maybe I'll come back to it before end of beta weekend. All in all, I'm pretty sure we'll be able to see a fix for this one. I, personally, don't know if I'll be willing/able to shell out the $$$ for this one on release to take a look (can't justify spending $60-80 on a single game anymore), but I'm sure one of our capable members will probably pick this up and take a look.
would be awesome to play it in 3d, despite the downgrade the game still looks really good.

Are the streets still empty in the final version? 3D vision seemed to be fixable in the beta and would improve a lot my interest in the game.
So I am not entirely sure but is this game Single Player or Multiplayer only or both? Sorry didn't followed it...
This is MMO type of game so you can do your own story mode but you gonna see other players running around and doing theirs own things - like stealing from shops or attacking you for no reason. It is really good action RPG with Watch Dogs feeling. I didn`t expect it to be so good and I just couldn`t stop playing, exploring that beautiful looking destroyed town and progressing through very interesting story quests. Stopped noticing other players - they kind of mixed with normal people walking on the streets. If you like that New York town from Crysis 2 then you will feel good in here. Even story style is like that at the beginning. More complicated thou and very heavy written.
or attacking you for no reason.
this may ruin all fun..I mean if there are some maniacs (as usual with other games) who they think that they play BF it could be a big problem.

Right...Thanks for the heads up guys;) I'll probably skip it;)) If I decide to buy it at some point CM will have to do;)) Not looking for a Splinter Cell game that will get updates (and break any proper 3D Vision fix we attempt) more than I go to sleep lol:))

If any aussies are wondering, it has local servers.
So I am not entirely sure but is this game Single Player or Multiplayer only or both? Sorry didn't followed it...
Yep it is like destiny, except when you hit pve areas you won't see anyone outside your group, and then you'll enter a 'social' area and there will be 50 ppl standing around. There is an open world pvp area called the dark zone (spooky pipe organ chords) which is the area you'll find 90% of the games douches. The other 10% will be standing in a doorway to the player base in the hopes you'll not be able to progress the game. One good thing, not many loading screens.

They made a terrible mistake in the realism and believably of this game by not having all the bad guys wear suits and ties instead of bandannas. Very immersion breaking to shoot at no-doubt some of their victims instead of them. Fucking parasites on society. Unless perhaps they could point me to a single square foot of infrastructure they built or even a ditch they or their immediate families dung (who also live off of the money they took from the fruits of other people's labor).

I've played it mostly as a single player game so far and all is fine. You're not forced to play with people at any point, although when I hopped out with real life friends of mine it felt better, most of the randoms I've tried have shitty quality mics that just buzzz :) 3d with dynamic cross-hair would be awesome but oh well I'll play it in 2d as I enjoy the game so far.
