I could use some help using Nvidia Inspector. I'm trying to delete the profile for the mmo Rift.
I have done this before but have to do it again since i have a new driver. Its been a while since I used Nvidia Inspector and I must be doing something wrong since I didn't have any problems before. I'm running Inspector as an administrator on win 7 64 bit.
In the Profile Settings window of Inspector; I go to the Profiles box and select Rift. When i click on the red X to Delete Current Profile, I get a window asking if I Really want to Delete this Profile. I click Yes and then I click Apply Changes but nothing happens. The Rift profile is still there and won't delete.
I also clicked on the Remove Application From Current Profile box, then clicked on the red X to remove all the associated .exe files, then clicked Apply Changes, and still nothing happens, none of the .exe files were removed.
What am I doing wrong? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for any help.
I would also like to associate the rift .exe to another profile. any suggestions as to which profile I should associate Rift.exe to? I'm thinking of wow or aion or Prototype?

It seems I can delete some game profiles with nvidia inspector but not all and not the one I want to delete which is Rift.
I thought with nvidia inspector I could delete any profile in the list of profiles, but it seems I can only delete some and I have no idea what allows me to delete some profiles and not the others.
Does anyone have any idea why that is? Is there something i'm doing wrong?
Thanks for any help.

I'm using Nvidia Inspector version 1.9.7.3 and driver 353.06, Rift deleted without a problem.
I do not have Rift installed though. Try reinstalling Nvidia Inspector maybe or your Nvidia Driver.
It's a driver bug.
I had similar issue - I coudn't add or remove any .exes. Even if I created a new profile.
Seems some keys in registry are getting blocked somehow. At least that's my guess, since I tried to change settings in NV Control Panel (the part with game profiles), not NV Inspector, and I got an error there too.
After googling, I've found this is a know bug. You need to reinstall the drivers, then go through the 3D Wizard again, change your 3D settings and shortcuts again, and edit profiles of games you need.
Nvidia and their software...
PS. You can use the same driver version, no need to switch to older/newer.
PS2. The post I've found through googling said this issue will return after some time, so be prepared, don't get frustrated too much when it does. ;)

I did try to remove all associated .exe's but Nvidia inspector would not let me remove any of them as well as not let me delete the profile.
Thanks for the replies to my post. I'll do a complete uninstall and clean reinstall of the driver. It sounds to me that should fix my problem.
to Pirateguybrush:
Thanks for the recommended program to uninstall graphic drivers. I downloaded it and used it to uninstall my driver. I suspected my last driver instillation might have been corrupted. That tool worked great. Thanks again for your help

You were right, last time I installed drivers I didn't properly uninstall the previous driver so my graphic drivers were corrupted. I used the graphic driver uninstillation tool recommended by Pirateguybrush and got a very clean graphic driver instillation this time. I followed your recommendation and just reinstalled the same driver since it has been working fine. Now I am able to use Nvidia Inspector to delete any profile I want and to add or remove any .exe's I want. Couldn't do any of that before my driver reinstillation.
Thanks both of you for taking the time to reply to my post. I just deleted the profile for Rift and now can play it in very nice 3D.
