+1. Seriously Nvidia this was a problem with the betas 280 beta. How did you not fix this one?

additionally i am missing the nvidia logo in the menu tray. The normal box to check to enable it under Add Desktop context menu is missing. this is a minor issue but not being able to use the wheel......

I imagine they're still defaulting to 3d Discover for many people on reboot, too.

Nvidia, I'm just a mild mannered janitor, but please, sort your stuff out.

I wonder what's causing the depth wheel / emitter button thing, as mine works fine still with 280 drivers. Are you sure you're also on 280 driver for the emitter?

Are these any different than the 280 beta drivers that were released like a week or two ago? Because if not, then they stink, just like the betas, just like the 270s.

The 266s were nearly perfect. Every release since then have had problems. Trine and Oblivion are just two of a few of the tried that make my Acer H5360 projector go to 60hz mode with 3D on. The 266 drivers they would go to 120hz mode no problem and 3D would be flawless. A few other games work fine with the 280 betas and go right to 120hz mode, like Left 4 Dead. The 270 driver made Oblivion have that "out of memory" error. It also created graphic anomalities in the Sun Village screen saver and another game and app too, I don't remmeber which right now.

If it wasn't for the 266 drivers giving real crap performance to Dirt 3 (and probably Fable 3?) I would have never upgraded at all. The 266 was king. Why is Nvidia getting so much worse with 3D drivers?

it seems that this driver is causing problems for some PC games, indeed. However, I can tell you on most of them, it is more than OK.

Can't you just ctrl-t to enable 3d and ctrl f3-f4 f5-f6 for depth and convergence. Why use the emitter button and dials?

It's a matter of conveniences.
For some it's within their finger tips (for those sitting close to their monitor).
For me I'm sitting 12ft out so have no choice but the F keys.
