3d Vision with Asus Rog Swift and SLI (ETA for FIX)
  11 / 17
I have had to swifts because I rma'd the first one cause of inversion and the bottom bezel getting hot also the crosstalk was pretty bad on this one. The second one I got had a much more uniformed panel and evenly lit back light I noticed this as soon as I turned it on. A fair bit happier with this one the crosstalk also didn't seem quite as bad how ever the inversion is still there but I'm willing to live with it. They all have it anyone telling you the have one without inversion is talking bs. So yea I guess it is down to a bit of luck as to how good the swift is you get

I had 3 Swifts. Yes, they all had Pixel Inversion, to slightly varying degrees. And the only really practice-oriented consequence of this to me (as far as I have encountered..) seems to be MORE CROSSTALK/GHOSTING. The Pixel Inversion apparently adds some new sort of ghosting. Depending on what is in the current picture it may be there or not. And sometimes it seems to be not/almost not perceptible - as is the "normal" ghosting. (in Witcher 3, which at first I solely used for evaluation, it was not present. Or I didn't see it. In AssCreed Brotherhood it is quite often and to a bothering degree visible.)

New Drivers just been released (355.98) and looks like there is a lot of changes in there and bug fixes. I don`t have SLI anymore so I won`t be able to try it out but please let Us know if you do. I mean the fix for SLI on Swift - don`t care about anything else.

I don`t know if this info is on Nvidia page, so I post this in advance: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/geforce-355-98-whql-driver-download.html

will give it a go but I wouldn't hold my breath read through the notes and this driver fixes near to nothing. My time has come to an end with NVidia I will keep my titan blacks until its time to upgrade but there is no way I will buy their products again. 3d vision was the only edge the had over amd without that and their complete lack of refusing to fix bugs this past year I have to make a change. for better or worse I don't know but I cant really see amd being any worse. There was only 3 bugs listed as fixed in this release and all of them were pretty unimportant. I haven't used 3d in over a year because of this problem it used to work on a very old driver like 340 something. This shouldn't take a year to fix just goes to show that NVidia cant be bothered to fix it

Just tested 355.98 on Witcher 3 monitoring GPU usage with MSI Afterburner. The second GPU still isn't being used at all. SLI still works fine on Witcher 2, as it always did.
I have heard from an unofficial source, the fix is delayed to October.
I'm really getting tired of this. I also haven't used 3D Vision for almost a year now... I bought the Swift because it is supposed to support 3D vision properly. Had I known that it would be such a hassle I would have sticked with my VG278H, never had a problem with that one. I is a lesson I won't forget for sure. What really pisses me off is that in the beginning it was working fine with SLI, after the 337.88 driver it never worked properly again. I reported this time and again and here we are... almost a year later and no fix. Also only got SLI to play 3D vision, without 3D vision working, SLI is pointless to me and probably next time won't be making that mistake

To my way of thinking NVidia have either got rid of a lot of staff in the driver team or they have been told to shift focus and only work on new products. I remember when there use to be regular performance improvements and bugs used to get fixed really quickly. Its lucky now if 2 or 3 bugs even get fixed in a release and even then some are only half ass fixed. I never want to buy another top end card from NVidia after this. Will prolly go for r9 fury x next time and go crossfire. I just don't understand how drivers can go from being so good to so bad something has happened and NVidia are keeping dead quiet about it.

Has anyone tried the newest driver? I will try it this evening, maybe it contains the fix. I have heard, they fixed the custom resolution issue, with this version.

Using 358.50, I ran Witcher 3 in 3D SLI Compatibility mode on my ROG Swift. Second card still does nothing. I put in a feedback ticket for it (as well as for the Windows 10 3D issues and the resetting 3D Vision Discover setting in the control panel). More of us that do the same, more likely something may finally get done.

All nvidia seem to do these days is over promise and under deliver. This is the perfect example. They still haven't fixed the 3D TV Play servers yet!?! Are they inept? Isn't it worth their time? I don't get it. It's like they are being spiteful to their customers because they have bigger fish to fry. they don't realise how sick their customers are getting due to nvidias half baked implementations and aborted projects. I was reading a forum post how 3dTV Play was limited to HDMI bandwidth and how Nvidia staff were saying they would enable higher 3D resolutions when higher bandwidth became available! Well the higher bandwidth has been here for years but still no higher resolutions!?! Also nvidia staff saying the cost of 3D TV play license goes towards fixing games in 3D. Yeah right! Bite the hand that feeds and it's you that will pay in the long run. We need you to give us what you promised nvidia. Not just stone cold silence and broken ideas.

I got rid of my SLI setup and went single card. Best thing I ever did. I'll be going AMD next time I think. All the games I like playing run better on AMD (Star Wars, Dirt, Battlefield etc) and it was only 3D keeping me loyal to Nvidia anyway. Now there is no need! :D
