The aurora is still broken, also.

Nope Dorkrit fixed that too. Just download the latest version of his mod. The only thing that I would love to see any fix for is the water. It can be distracting in certain areas like Markart.

Is anyone else having issues with their computer not changing back to 2D mode when the game exits? Every time I quit Skyrim I have to start up Firefox (only program that works consistently) to get 3D to disable.

My general rule of thumb for setting convergence in 1st person view games is to take my glasses off and adjust convergence to the point that the left/right images of my held weapons are on top of each other. The crafting and mining animations are still in 3rd person but I have a mod that remove the 3rd person kill moves because I didn't like how it broke immersion for me.

Oh, that's a great idea...should've thought of that earlier (regarding convergence).

Maybe it's just my preference but if I crank up my convergence too much in games with 1st person view it makes the game look too cartoonish (dollhouse effect) for my personal taste.

I prefer always to play in 3rd person view just because I can increase convergence and then I have more deph. If I would use my actual convergence in 1st person view I had very separated hands/weapons. Also this game is nice in 3st person view (maybe the best at the moment), although some animations could be better.

Here are some random screenshots from Skyrim I took today on my Asus VG278H. All of them were taken around noontime in game.

The key to the best 3D experience, in my view, is to compromise between depth and convergence at 50/50, give or take "10" one way or the other. I usually set depth to 60% and then up the convergence until I can't see straight, then back down a little.

This game is amazing in 3D. Only thing broken is the water's edge (once you apply the mod to fix the sky), and I can live with that minor issue.

Is anyone else having issues with their computer not changing back to 2D mode when the game exits? Every time I quit Skyrim I have to start up Firefox (only program that works consistently) to get 3D to disable.

Yep i have the same problem :0(

So does the update really makes the game look better in 3d?
