Since nobody seems to share there 3D monitor result, I decided to do it myself.
I've bought the 2 ACER:
From early 2016 the GN276HLbid cost 250€ and from mid 2017 the Predator XB270HBmjdprz cost 350€

Black level from the two new ACER seems equal. Dark stripes are result of capturing, it does not appear in reality. All photos and videos comes from the same afternoon and hardware.

Modes: (GameVisual)
Scenery = No Gamma Setting (Gamma is to low so it's to bright)
Racing = No Saturation Setting (Great calibration, RGB colors are settable, but it's bland, so I will use this one for correct colors and boost Digital Vibrance to 55% in the Nvidia Panel)
Cinema = No Gamma Setting (Gamma is to low so it's to bright)
RTS/RPG = All Settings (Too much boost of the Green color)
FPS = All Settings (Too much boost of the Red color)
RGV = Almost no Settings... (Too much of everythings)
-----------------------------
Some 2D and 3D settings seems to be separated, so you can modify your settings in 3D, without change your 2D settings. (like the Contrast)
My Settings of the Racing Mode:
- Blue light filter 0 (I like blue)
- Brigtness 0 (to get the best black level)
- Contrast 50 (over that white are burned)
- Saturation not settable in this mode, Digital Vibrance to 55% in Nvidia Panel (I like it colored)
- Color Temp Red and Blue at 100 and Green at 95
- Gamma 2.5 (All 3 settings are ok, but 2.5 boost contrast)
- I haven't test the OverDrive yet.
- I have disable the "Adaptative Contrast Control", I don't like my setting been variable. But it's very controlable, you can set the limit of variation and the power of the variation.
- Dark Boost 0 (It look like a gamma setting for dark, all setting are ok, but I like my dark, well... dark)
- You can set OFF the stand red halo in System Setup go to the bottom and set Light in motion to OFF.
- LightBoost at 50% in 3D (but every setting are ok)

Ok so I translate that:
White are quite good, small reverse ghosting on the top (black become white) and color ghosting is not really noticable (clear blue/green) and sadely full ghost on the bottom.
Gray is not good at all, again color ghosting (clear yellow/orange) and full ghost all over the screen.
Black is quite ok, some full ghost, that's not that bad.
Full Black is also quite good, some full ghost at the bottom.

If you want the best 3D, use the Rabbit test to setup your 3D screen:
What I use is 100% Lightboost and 42 contrast. There is no drawback in having Lightboost at 100%. Contrary to 1080p non G-Sync monitors, this doesn't affect motion blur (sadly), only brightness. Which doesn't directly affect crosstalk either.
In your opinion, Dugom, what is the best 3D monitor you have tried until now? How does the PG278QR rank if you don't consider it the best?

Always ghosts in the bottom...
The ASUS 2233RZ is too old for me to remember...
The ASUS VG248QE has to much ghost in black.
The 2, 27" ACER as too much color ghost, so are a no go.
This VG248QR, seems pretty good, but far from perfect. (I think I will keep it as backup)
I have never tested any BenQ, I don't even know the 3D references...
I have my eyes on the Acer 27" Predator XB271HUT (IPS panel) and the ASUS 27" ROG Swift PG27VQ, but they cost a lot. (around 850€, this ASUS QR already cost around 670€)
I'm sure that some here have them, but I'm tired to ask for pictures... Plus if they have spent 850€, they probably would never say their monitor is bad, so they won't send any pic. I'm sadely used to it now. Even you havent send me the rabbit test picture you have promise some time ago.

No BenQ owners here?
My Monitor is already here.
At first I wanted to buy a complete computer, but then I realised buying the parts and buying the graphics card seperate is much cheaper. + I have full control.
I can buy from Amazon page only, for a specific reason.
Not any GTX 1080ti less than 1000€!!
So I bought this one:
ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080TI AMP Extreme 11GB GDDR5X 352 bit VRReady
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B06XXY43WH/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Avalaible on 3rd of april....damn thats 2 weeks waiting. All other parts will be here 1-2 days.
Damn thing is I cannot test 3D gaming with my new PG278QR before return period ends, without the graphics card.
I will post ghosting pics, but I am kinda afraid to train my eye to see it, before testing it ingame...lol

Yes my Acer is not that good. But not that bad either. I'll continue using it.
I've also used some CRT in 3D while back... It was fun to play games without anaglyph cyan red glasses. I remember playing old Assassin's creed then.
Looking to buy a 3d monitor, whats the verdict so far from this thread? what to get? I noticed people saying oldies like the VG278H had no ghosting but 1440p 3D looks great. Should i get the Asus PG278QR ? Since the Acer's seems bad .. not sure about dell though

Don't believe people about their hardware. If it's expensive and bad, most will say it's good anyway.
Plus, no ghost in monitors, it's simply a myth.
Well:

This is very low Depth, if you set for 7cm séparation, then it will be more crosstalk appearing.
The rabbit could help to set correctly the monitor and compare with others, but it's very hard to find shared results.

I still consider it to be my right, to be completely satisfied with my PG278QR all though it was expensive, that doesn't make me a liar!
I don't think crosstalk has anything to do with the pricetag !
When I say my monitor is the best I've seen, and it has a rather low crosstalk, not nearly as much as your TR picture, and in dark areas with a strong light source there's allmost nothing, it will OFC be a relative thruth seen from my POW, but I'm still not a liar !
There are a number of factors that does a direct compare from user to user difficult, OFC the calibration has a lot to say here, but also the Graphic card/ manufactor? see this thread: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1032468/why-660ti-more-ghosting-than-1080ti-with-my-monitor-/?offset=7#5263938
Before I got my new 1080TI I was rather disapointed with the scanline effect from the PG278QR, they allmost disapeared afterwards, and also a reduced crosstalk was seen...
This may sound like pure bogus to you, but I'm not alone :)
The only reliable source that can tell you which monitor to prefer is your OWN eyes, setup with your OWN hardware !

Pictures are from the 144Hz version (no R). You refuse to share the rabbit test picture of it...
If you don't want to share the rabbit test, at least share the Assassin's Creed Black Flag one. (which are very low séparation but we could compare something). Also you can share your setting for other customers, who's seeking a good 3D setting.
I've made a complete review above of the Q version (165Hz). It's a very good monitor. No color and reverse ghost if set correcly. Has I mention though, I only have tested 6 monitors, so it could easily have better one, but if nobody do the rabbit test we will probably just never know.

I've bought the 2 ACER:
From early 2016 the GN276HLbid cost 250€ and from mid 2017 the Predator XB270HBmjdprz cost 350€
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
And obviously I've tested them with my personal 3D crosstalk test !
(Read the YouTube description to set and get the best 3D possible.)
Rabbit 2.0 pictures:
Here the results after set the monitors to get the less ghost possible: (Brightness is not settable in 3D), Lightboost level don't change the crosstalk, neither 3DVision 1 or 2 glasses. Black level from the two new ACER seems equal. Dark stripes are result of capturing, it does not appear in reality. All photos and videos comes from the same afternoon and hardware.
Predator XB270HBmjdprz (Contrast 30)
GN276HLbid (Contrast 20)
To compare to my old GD245HQ (Contrast 40)
Even with the best settings, the two new ACER have to much color ghosting, yellow seems to be the least worst...
The GN276HLbid have less reverse ghosting than the Predator XB270HBmjdprz.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Color ghost are horrible, here all the contrast setting:
GN276HLbid
On Gray
On White
Predator XB270HBmjdprz
On Gray
On White
My old GD245HQ (GD235HZ in some country)

--------------------------
Crosstalk (Ghost) (50% Contrast and 50% Lightboost)
Ok so I translate that:
White are quite good, small reverse ghosting on the top (black become white) and color ghosting is not really noticable (clear blue/green) and sadely full ghost on the bottom.
Gray is not good at all, again color ghosting (clear yellow/orange) and full ghost all over the screen.
Black is quite ok, some full ghost, that's not that bad.
Full Black is also quite good, some full ghost at the bottom.
-------------------------
All Contrast for Ghosts spotting (up to 50, after it's burned)
On White
;feature=youtu.be
On Gray
;feature=youtu.be
Not much intrusive color and reverse ghosting here.
------------------------
If you have read until here, first thanks, second you wont be disappointed: ;)
After some testing see the difference with 30% Contrast 100% Lightboost:
As you can see:
White is even better, no reverse ghosting just clear full ghost, no colors ghost.
Gray is a lot clearer too, still some color ghost (yellow).
Black and Full Black are almost the same as earlier. (But even better if you low the Lightboost)
Here what it does:
Contratst 50% and Lightboost 50% vs Constrast 30% and Lightboost 100%
Less Crosstalk on the bottom and the Hook ghost is no more there !!!
My video of Black Flag in 3D at 3 sec and 58 sec: (Medium separation, it's 100% Depth but set for 55" screen)
The 3D pictures:

In your opinion, Dugom, what is the best 3D monitor you have tried until now? How does the PG278QR rank if you don't consider it the best?
CPU: Intel Core i7 7700K @ 4.9GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus GA-Z270X-Gaming 5
RAM: GSKILL Ripjaws Z 16GB 3866MHz CL18
GPU: Gainward Phoenix 1080 GLH
Monitor: Asus PG278QR
Speakers: Logitech Z506
Donations account: masterotakusuko@gmail.com
Mine is quite good (ACER GD235HZ/GD245HQ), if set correclty.

3D hardware will probably disapear soon (as most 3DTV have), so I have to get a backup 3D monitor.

BIG big thank you!!
At least you tried!
Yours is quite good?
