How to setup 3D Vision on Acer H5360 Projector?! I really need your help!
Hey guys,
What are the steps & tips to do that & get the best 3D effect possible.
I've tried to set it up but the setup wizard failed so I chose the correct steps & eventually didn't get any 3D effect though I did all the requirements.
I've tested only movies, pictures using their player, I didn't have the chance to try it in games & I'll as soon as possible.
Your help is much appreciated

Hi

What driver are you using?

Did you turn the 3D option from the projectors menu to "NVIDIA 3D Vision"?

Please try 197.13 (CD 1.23). The driver that came with the glasses doesnt work with the Acer Projector.

Once we have verified that to work, we can work the on the sound issue.

hi, i also use this projector with 3d vision using the 197.13 driver and worked flawlessly right from the word go.
i noticed your playing video on it but not getting 3d images?
could you try playing a game on it as my suspicion is that you arent using the nvidia player correctly to watch your contents.

honestly, I don't know the exact settings must be done to nVidia Player to make it run videos perfectly.
I'll try to install a game & see my luck.

I've installed the last version & the setup completed successfully. I was able to see 3D effects on the slideshow BUT I have two problems:
1) I've downloaded 3D Videos from the link below:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D_Vision_3D_Movies.html
but I didn't feel any 3D effects!!
2) as regard Games, I tried Battlefield Bad Company 2 & enabled stereoscopic mode, I also didn't feel any 3D effects on the combat scenes!!
The emitter was dark green & seems working with the glasses. I increased the depth but still no luck.
The last thing I wanna know is how can I run the sound of the Acer H5360 Projector when it's connected to my PC ?!
Thanks for the help ^_^

First lets start off by verifying that 3D is working in a 3D application. Please go to NVIDIA Control Panel > Stereoscopic 3D > Set up Stereoscopic 3D and click the button Test Stereoscopic 3D. Launch that application in 1280x720 at 120Hz and verify that you see 3D with our test app. Use the emitter's depth adjustment wheel to verify that it works.

Now on to your specific requests.

1. Did you switch into fullscreen mode for the video player? Double mouse click in the window to do that to enable 3D.
2. Try running the game in 1280x720 resolution first.

Is it possible to get the Acer recognised via VGA-cable? I have never succeeded in that, just that before I could swap the cables from my Fuzhion after running the wizard. Not that workaround doesn't work, since the projector gets recognised as as generic CRT device by the wizard.

Using HDMI works, but there are reasons why I can't really use it.

I've seen the projector recognised by the Asus laptop via VGA-cable, so it shouldn't be impossible. If we could only have some manual options for the detection, sigh...
