I'm not having any issues which is unusual for me. (Well apart from getting the setting changes to stick) But I'm running in DX10.1 what are you guys running in, DX11 perhaps?

yea i've been running in DX11. But why should that have an effect? Would you mind trying with DX11 as well and giving feedback?
Something I find is weird that no one has mentioned yet: In the Settings you can't set the Screen to 120Hz, only up to 119Hz. Shouldn't it be set to 120Hz for 3D to work properly?

Sorry I've got it running great, DX11 requires more video ram so I would need to lower my settings again and then find a balance. The settings are a nightmare due to some cloud issue that makes for poor sync. Taking multiple attempts before they sync and stick.
I would suggest that if DX11 is giving issues then why not try DX10.1 along with AFR2?
The ghosting is down to the monitor. I've got a BENQ now and ghosting is no longer a problem. If I did have a ghosting problem I would reduce the monitor contrast to lessen it even try reducing Nvidia contrast and digital vibrance settings. Also try the in-game brightness adjustment.
The problem I'm having is GPU usage is maxing out. The GPU usage varies depending on the resolution. At 4K in 3D it's at like 78% and I'm getting like 24 fps. At 2560x1440 the GPU usage is about 55% and the frame rate is at like 40 fps. Even at 1080p I'm getting less than 60 fps in a lot of places and GPU usage is around 40%.
When I turn off 3D I can max the game out at 4K resolution run 60 fps pretty much solid. I've tried changing every in game setting and none of them have any effect on the GPU usage.
AFR2 cuts performance significantly.
I tried OCing way higher to see if that would help, but it doesn't really do much. So 3D is pretty much broken for me at any playable resolution.
I'm having very similar issues. Also using a GTX 980. With 3D off, I get very high frame rates (80-90)with everything maxed out. With 3D on, fps goes down to 20-24 in the benchmark, and lowering settings does nothing. GPU usage about 75% with 3D on.....

Guys! I don't want to jinx anything... but I have been tinkering with the settings. And then I found a link on reddit where someone discusses making a .BAT file to kill the "launcher" which uses a lot of processor %
anyway... when I did that... I don't know if it's a coincedence... but now 3D is working perfectly. Like, literally, perfectly. Even the lights, shadows, grass... everything is perfect!
I guess that means this game DOES have native 3D support but its just software/settings that are giving us different 3D experiences?
anyway... coincedence or not, someone try it and let me know if it worked for you too.
In the meantime, I played 11 hours straight just incase when I exited the game and went back it'd be broken lol. But it's still working fine today :)
(the only thing still broken is the CHECKPOINT marker)
Even the text works with both eyes in 3D now...
if anyone wants my exact graphic settings let me know.
My system is; i7 4770k, 16GB ram, and 2 GTX 770 SLI's

Don't purchase the game on the above the game crashes to desktop after 15 minutes of play when the launcher is closed. Wait till a patch from Rockstar.

OH GOD, this is not want I wanted to read first thing in the morning with coffee (statistically speaking, I tend to make all of my Steam purchases while drinking coffee LOL!).
I wanted this game to remain broken right up until it goes on sale, so I am not tempted to purchase it at full price!!!!
The fact that you also have 700 series cards in SLI is going to make this morning an extremely tough morning for me to get through without purchasing GTA 5.
Can anyone else confirm?
I don't get it.
Just install 350.12 then in the nvidia control panel add gta5.exe under the list of installed programs and then set Force Alternate Frame Rendering 2.
You do not use Nvidia Inspector at all.
If you have deleted the profile already without backing it up reinstall 350.12
It needs to be set for gta5.exe not for the global setting as a profile exists but doesn't seem to set AFR 2 in program specific setting. see attachment
Everything is perfect 3D and solid 60 fps.
just reinstalled drivers to try this one..
Tnx, man !!! even performance seems to be better

Everything runs fine on my rig with Alternate Frame Rendering 2 on my SLI gtx680. Graphics maxed out excepted shadows on low and textures on high, MSAAx4 (TXAA), installed on a SSD. No crash after 1 hours in the game. Great surprise for a day one purchase.
A real blast in 3D.

This is weird but I can't get the 3D vision to work on GTA V...everytime I start the game, the 3D vision is disabled and hitting CTRL+T to enable it doesn't help. Does anybody have the same problem?
