Dragon Age 2 (using DX11)

Hi Losti, I'll also test this on my single graphics card system tonight and provide feedback. Still have to update the 3DFM profile anyway :)

The demo rendered the player shadow in one eye and I didn't see any SSAO flickering. Maybe the demo isn't applicable, because a lot of other elements like text are also one-eye issues. In addition, cutscenes had a one-eye green screen and flickering for the mouse cursor that shows up as a white box during cutscenes.     I didn't use the profile .txt file because it would have also replaced other profiles (e.g. Resident Evil 7).

I come to the same conclusion like maurizioclaudio21. Menu and texts are rendered one eye. Mouse is flickering when playing. But the rest looked good. Shadows were correct and AO did not introduce artefacts. So only menu and mouse cursor seems to be broken. Results are identical with version 1.0 and 1.1 of the fix. I've also looked in the driver profiles file you provided Losti. Am I right that the Dragon Age 2 profile in that file is just the default profile provided by Nvidia? At least I got the identical settings values after simply clicking on the reset profile-button in Nvidia Profile Inspector. However the default profile didn't change the stereo 3D results described above. Edit: Forgot to mention: the Intro video when starting a new game was rendered with a green color tint.

I'm not really up to speed on this, but if there is a difference in behaviour between SLI/single card, didn't DSS document something about this in the 3dmigoto release notes? Was there a flag or something that was identified? I know on some of the early fixes, there were some where SLI worked fine but single cards had some issues, but I thought he'd identified what this was. Hope this doesn't confuse the issue even more!

Sorry, for me StereoFlagsDX10 = 0x00005008 didn't change anything. Tried all of your suggestions Losti but nothing worked. Without the fix menu is rendered 2D. Maybe this is a better solution? 3D is not needed there. Only issue left would be the flickering mouse cursor. Which PC specs do you have maurizioclaudio21? Would be worth adding them to your signature. Maybe Win 7 vs Win 10 can do the difference.

There is an update on the blog (v 1.2) that fixes the one eye HUD as well as the green inro. It was a setting with the stereo mode i forgott to set back here. Please do not use StereoFlagsDX10 = 0x00005008 this is causing the casting shadows to be wrong as i recognized. I was changing it to the standard flags just for the release. Hence the shadows was fixed but disabled. I have enabled it now. That 0x00005008 was fixing the problems of the HUD seems to be a hap. The AO flickering seems realy to be an issue having 2 cards installed but SLI disabled. Its fine using SLI and you do not have complained about it using V1.1 it seems to be right in NON SLI having only one card installed too. Use V1.2 everything should be fine now. No effects disabled. No issues left so far. If you find some, please write me an email or report here in the post. https://helixmod.blogspot.com/2018/11/dragon-age-ii-dx11-3dv-ready-fix-losti.html

I hadn't checked the forums in a week, and get back to this surprise! I'll download the fix tonight and try it out. I am running two 1070 on SLI, but can disable one if needed. Replaying this game with tessellation and better lighting will be a joy! I've played Origins several times, but DA2 only once. Time to change that. Thanks Losti, you're the man.

Hence if you have 2 cards bulid in, enable SLI and enjoy.

Thanks for the Fix. I sent a donation your way. :). I am having an issue with my cursor it turns into a flickering block that only displays in one eye. There are other issues mainly with the menu's text only displaying in one eye like inventory and what not. No big deal. The cursor however is the main problem I am having. I've already installed the new version, but still the same. No change Any ideas?

Fired up the game using SLI. First in DX9, and then in DX11 using your fix. Difference is night and day. DX11 really makes a significant difference in this game. So far fix looks PERFECT. This is a great incentive to replay it. Donation coming your way.
