[quote="necropants"]Ok I have one more issue it seems and its quite an annoying one. I haven't been able to find mention of it so apologies if this is well covered. Not sure exactly how to explain it.
Whenever I am in an underground area (could just be All areas with dark lighting) I get a grey texture flash regularly, usually the ceiling but some times the floor.
I am running pretty much maximum detail, I just wonder if its some graphics setting that causes this?
Doesn't seem to be any mention about this sort of thing on the blog.

Hi guys! Just came back from vacation, updated Witcher 3 and... first I've got problems enabling 3D Vision and after I eventually succeeded, game is almost unplayable - it CTD's even often than ever before. :( I'm using Helix fix with 353.62 drivers on Win 7. Struggling to get playing for an hour already... Going to try latest nVidia driver and report. Any ideas are greatly appreciated! :)

Recently Disabling Shader Cache and switching off Automatic 3D Activation in Registry helped a lot of people. Also increasing Virtual Memory in system might be improving stability. Try them first.
Remember to switch 3D on only after proper gameplay gets loaded.

Thanks Helifax. I guess I have to upgrade good thing windows 10 could possibly never be touching my 3d rig.
Whats the consensus for the best driver for this atm?

Surprisingly, my configuration is already following these suggestions :) Thanks anyway. Gotta try increasing virtual RAM, though... But I have 24 GB or RAM in my machine (Win 7 64-bit), and never seen Witcher 3 using more that 4 GB of it...

- Far Cry 4
Both of them render wrong in 3D Vision. I expect to be kinda the same bug;))
I still keep a copy of Win7 on a separate SSD just for these games. I reported the issue to nvidia but if/when will get fixed...only time will tell...
On win7 355.60 I have no issues with any game though;)

The profile I still use. Without it in certain areas (underwater or underground I have no UI when in 3D mode). It also comes with a custom convergence value (which you might like or overwrite if you want to use your own convergence). If you are not experiencing the missing UI issue then you can safely use the default profile:)

With this fix. This has easily become my favorite all time game in 3D. I'm loving my game state carried completely over from the first title at the moment.
I have yet to have any real problem and absolutely no instances of 3d dropping out which has become par for the course of late. But I did notice that without the custom profile it was happening. Is there something in this? Is it perhaps a profile setting that's causing this problem in other games too?

Ok I have one final strange issue, and its particularly annoying. I wonder if anyone has any idea.
It appears to be a conflict with this mod which improves controller support for the game (couldn't imagine playing without this.)

When ever you use the second potion slot. (Assigned to Holding Down on the D Pad) The 3dfix custom HUD depth will reset to the default position.
Changing the key binding in the Dx.ini doesn't resolve this and using the other slot (holding up on Dpad) doesn't cause it.
*edit* Worked out the issue. it was this function was assigned to F10 which is set to reset the depth in the dx.ini and also to drink consumable in the gamepad mod.

Off topic slightly, but I am using those SLI bits for 2d, which work amazingly, thanks. One thing I've noticed is that gpu utilization drops down to about 70% (from 95%+) when underwater.
Does this happen to anyone else?

I am pretty set on it now that the overclock has nothing to do with it (all stable in 2d). Maybe its DSR + 3d vision that causes the sudden exits to desktop.
