Dragon Quest Heroes Slime Edition PC

That must be the longest shader I've ever seen in the time I've been fixing things. Sorry, I don't have any particular ideas right now. Probably the important part is between lines 58 and 90. That's where I see some similarities with the Dark Souls 2 and Shadow Complex shaders. I suppose that you know how to disable that shader in the meantime. Place a "discard;" line right after line 48,for example.

It's the same visually, but I don't know if there would be some internal difference with 3Dmigoto. When I discard demanding shaders, I see a performance improvement. I assume it would be the same as the skip in d3dx.ini. I prefer discarding in the shader, in case I update 3Dmigoto and forget to copy that part. Besides, when I disable something important I prefer making a hotkey for it, just in case I use the game in 2D (not usual for me) or check how broken it is (to remind me that it needs fixing).

If anyone still wants to play in S3D, Tridef and user profiles works good with this game.

@greatxerox You'll be happy to know that Dragon Quest Heroes II Explorer’s Edition will be coming to the PC in April. Currently, it does not have a Steam page but can be pre-ordered from Square Enix. https://store.na.square-enix.com/product/439114/dragon-quest-heroes-ii-explorers-edition-pc-download
