HDTVs @ 120Hz and beyond (240) out of certified list
Hi,

maybe I'm going to make a dumb question, so fasten your seat belts:

are big HDTVs @120Hz and beyond (I've seen one signature of a player showing a 240Hz 52" display) out of certified list, still viable for 3D vision?
in case, which are the visual differences, compared to official list?

thanks

No, they are not viable for 3D vision.
Most of these 120Hz+ rates only mention the display refresh rate, but only have the usual 60Hz input rate and use frame interpolation to guess the missing frames. This is not compatible with 3D Vision.

That's correct.

Please just buy displays from our supported list.

Andrew, any way you can get Nvidia to put a "last updated" notice at the bottom of this page? This list may be updated daily but a lot of folks are used to seeing stale requirements lists while the technology - and new products using that technology - changes almost almost hourly it seems. Thanks,

Larry

That page only changes with driver updates, so its not changing on a daily basis.
