I really want to try the 3D vision. The only thing stopping me from doing so is a good decent monitor. I'm a fan of 16:10 ratio monitors and the only ones I can find are 16:9 ratio at 23.6". From what I heard it is hard/impossible to get 1920x1200 120Hz on DVI cable due to its bandwidth limit. I'm just wondering if there is anything being done to get a 1920x1200 120Hz monitor out into the market any time soon.
another thing, I read it in the FAQ that you cant convert 2D videos to 3D. I saw a video review of someone watching the original Star Wars in 3D, how is that possible then?

As far that I know, there is no 1920x1200 lcd coming out this years, and probably not next year....
The Samsung is 16:10 but only with a lower resolution of 1680x1050.
If you just want a big screen, then Asus is coming with a27inch screen later this year.
Converting 2d images is easy, but doesn't look as good as original 3d.

aww, I just don't get why 16:9 is becoming so popular, I love the extra vertical space on 16:10.
well I assume that the 27 inch is also 16:9 ratio... Any idea on a specific time and price?
