Well Mocl as i said before works fine for me on a gtx560 on both the 266.66 and the 270.61 at ultra settings all maxed except ubersampling. So i'm not sure it's the game's fault.

Got it - if you uninstall the 3D Vision driver from Control Panels/Programs then everything works like silk. Phew - at last I can play the game!

Main problem is even without 3d the game has some parts where it drops to 30-35 fps. So unless the driver doubles the performance i don't think it's gonna be playable in 3d.

Nice, 33% downloaded on steam already, I can't wait to give it a try.
Props to Nvidia this time, they really proved they take 3d seriously releasing new drivers along with the game.
Now please beg bethesda for 3d support with Skyrim, or at least tell us if there's any kind of support from them at all so to start a petition or something

problem persists with new beta drivers. Did a clean install of the drivers, started up the game and got very good framerates. I then set up 3d vision using the wizard and the framerate just dropped both in 3d and 2d. Disabled 3d vision, same low frame rates. uninstalled 3d vision, runs like a knife through butter. Guess Nvidia are still working on the 3d vision aspect of the game. Thats just my experience though, would like to hear how others have faired in this issue.

I installed the new beta drivers as well. Now i can play the game in 3D and smoothly. My settings are "High" without any AA, thats improtant to disable!
Before disabling AA i could not play the game (like 15 fps /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />). Maybe it's the AA in combination with the other options.
My System: i5 3,8 OC, 4GB RAM and a Geforce 570 GTX.
Here some 3D PICs with that setting: My 3D Pictures.
Also you can find my first post on the game, but its in german so :) ...
