Quantum Break
  5 / 23
So friends, just to let you know that this game is simply fantastic. I would say it plays in the same ligue like a Max Payne 3, Alan Wake or Tomb Raider. When it comes to the setting, with the time traveller background I even like it more. It has a fantastic, deep story with believable interesting characters, a lot of reading in the game also, some movie sequences and the action part makes a lot of fun too. And all of this even in 2D. I played 16 hours and almost finished it and had such an amazing time. I know we are all butthurt because Microsoft treats PC gamers like idiots. But just get this game. It is definitely worth the money. Can't wait to play through it a second time in 3D.
we are all butthurt because Microsoft treats PC gamers like idiots.
I`ve pre-ordered Gears of War 4 two months ago when they released this on Windows Store and last week I started to download before launch next week. I can`t even remember how many times I had to restart because at 70GB (out of 80GB) it spontaneously erased all and restart itself. Couldn`t install on my dedicated SSD and if I changed anything in my system I wasn`t able to see if I even got the game`s licence - like I didn`t own this game at all. Refunded today and hopefully I don`t have to go back to this subject this year. Will try next year thou because I love Gears. Back to Quantum Break - yep, second play through in 3D my men :) (even if it means CM 3D)

For those who are willing to play in CM mode, like me - try AC4 profile. It seems to work much better than AC3 proposed earlier. AC3 has slightly better depth but features LOTS of weird screen tearing effects, like some invisible glass hangs in air - almost impossible to play, especially during shoot-outs. AC4 so far seems much better! :) UPDATE: Game crashes after 10-15 minutes, no matter what CM profile I use :/

I am stating that if MS brings a game to Steam I am willing to buy it. But of course I will never buy a game on the MS Store. There are enough other games to play. I even prefer Uplay or Origin.

@DJ-RK I test the game right now....and i have the same crash, but i rename a few problematic shaders in the shadercache ( 3 CS and 1 PS) and now the game don't crash and i can dump all the shaders. - Shadows are controlled by one PS (at least the first 10 minutes), i already fixed (need to use Frame Analysis to locate the correct matrix, because the ones in the headers are useless) - Tile Lights are controlled by one CS, is a huge shaders with a multipass that controlls differents lights and also some shadows at night.....i manage to fix one of the lights in the CS, but there are 2 or 3 more to fix (need to found)...it's complicated and need a lot of trial and error. So this shaders will probably need more "hands" to fix. - Lensflares are broken. Now i'm going to bed. Cheers!!

Yeah, I ended up having the exact same number of bad shaders (3 CS and 1 PS). Glad you're on the job and already making headway. I'll take a look and hopefully between the 2 of us we'll be able to solve that puzzle. :)

Ok, so I've pretty much got the first area about 95% 3DVision ready. Fixed multiple CS's, shadows, volumetric lighting (although had to use an approximation here because it didn't like using the FOV from the constant buffer, so it's not 100% perfect at all distances, but very much acceptable), and bloom/lens flares, so we're off to a great start here. Only played right up to the point where you meet Paul, but then the game started glitching out (hopefully just an issue while running in debug mode in the wrapper), so I ended there. Either gonna play a bit more to make it to the next area to assess the situation or I might just call it a night for now, but wanted to drop by and give an update and a couple teaser pics. Very nice DJ-RK!!....i suppose all is solve. Using an aproximation will produce shadows or lights go wrong when game change FOV (normally in cinematics, aiming, running or maybe others), so is better to fix using a constant buffer.

DJ-RK and DHR: do you usually dump all shaders at once? I have never done that. I just dump shaders that are wrong, unless I want to see how a correct effect does some stuff. And good job, by the way :).
