Geforce 8800GT 3D vision card
Hi all,

I currently have a Geforce 8800GT which is listed here http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html as being able to run 3D vision.
However when i run the test to see if my system is capable I fail on the graphics card even thought it does state "You Have: GeForce 8800 GT"

As I am currently in the process of upgrading over the next 2 months to be able to use 3D vision I was wondering if my graphics card would be sufficient or not and any advice on the best card to run 3D smoothly would be appreciated.

Thankyou

I've have my 8800gt running 3d Vision for like a year now and it works fine. I recently put another in so I have it running in SLI. But it worked fine with just one also. Yes you have turn down the quality settings in newer games but it will run. I was even able to run Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in 3d with Cyberlink Power DVD 10 perfectly fine.

Yep, I've been running an 8800GT with 3d Vision and the Acer h5360 for a few months now. Since the projector only handles 1280x720, even most newer games play great in 3D. I've also watched several 3D Blu-Rays that also work fine.

Gonna pick up my 3d vision later on today,

Still a little worried that the program that tests if your computer can run it fails me on graphics card but im hoping it will be fine as 8800 gt is listed as fine.
