Glad you sorted it out;)
Hope you enjoy it;)

You can be sure of that, helifax! Come on...this is DOOM in all its classic glory infused with just the right injections of "gameplay-benefitting" new mechanics (glory kills I am looking at you...just to name one) and it looks absolutely stunning on my HMZ-T3 (I decided to play it that way. The immersion is just incredible).
The game in 3D already looks stunning by default but I would like to tweak depth and convergence a good measure. Unfortunately the game doesn't react to my hotkeys (I am using custom ones not Nvidia's default keys).
As I said even with the default settings for depth and convergence it looks spectacular but somehow I need to get these hot-keys working!
Very strange that is that the hotkeys aren't working. I heard this in the past but I was unable to replicate it. I have access only on 3D Vision Ready Monitors setups and it always worked here. Perhaps the driver behaves differently?!?!
What you can do is to use the ini file and add your own keys:
[Alternative_3D_Settings]
NewKeyShortcut(key_code, separation, convergence, toggle_or_push_and_hold)
[End]
So, if you want to bing F1 key (0x0070) with a convergence of 50 and a toggle you need to write:
NewKeyShortcut(0x0070, -1, 50.0, true)
See the existing presets I added on F1 and F2 and you can add your own;)
Hope this helps;)

i tested the 3d also now only with my passive monitor with acerHR274H EDID hack. And wanna report following if it helps anyone.
The info says only OFF, FXAA, SMAA
Everyone using line interlieved 3d monitor i had wierd image because
i had selected SMAA(TX) as i did not know it´s different than SMAA. that was causing me f***up visuals.
The alternaterframerenders True made eye synch better.
But it´s unplayable for me currently because there is still too much flicker, allthough the super annoying 1 frame lag
between left and right was removed with the alternaterenders true flag.
Im sad it´s unplayable for me. but im happy for all playing it as it truly looks awsome visually !
I did not yet get to test with my geobox and projectors but if the monitors 60hz is the limitting factor
i propably get much better results with my projector setup as it inputs the full 120hz 3d vision.
but i tested using false on synchtorefreshment rate as the game was clipping the framerate at 60,
and the bigger framerate helped so it´s propably much better experience on 120hz 120fps in terms of eye-synch.
by the way what was the best driver for this release
edit: hah Lohan had the same mistake
I remember you were the only one saying that SOMA wasn't working for you, and we asked you to get rid of the Geobox thingy which more likely introduces additional latency and synchronization problems. If you run it on a proper 120Hz 3D Vision Display than you will have no problems with either this game or SOMA.
Having those 120FPS is a must though;)
The game was tested by me on 356.10 and others are using 365.19. Is hard to say which one is best of the two though;) Some people reported 356.19 has low FPS (in 2D -> Drivers section) so...
What do you mean by "is too much flicker" ? The image is flickering or is this the clipping issue that I can't correct without the game source-code?
I find it very hard to believe the game is "unplayable"... Unless you want a 100% problem free solution, in which case: Either give up on 3D gaming or ask the developer to add 3D from there code ... which is less likely to happen...
( All I have done is through reverse engineering, without access to the SOURCE CODE of the game(s)) and is 95% problem free!
No helifax the problem is propably just my eyes, or brain what ever you wanna call it ;D
The"flicker" i mean is propably the time the frames are rendered the 16ms.
in deault when frames are renderen left show...right.. show it makes me feel ill (uncomfortable might be better word)
when i turn it lef, right show ..it removes the ill feeling if we steay there at 120 fps with lef, right, show. But if the frame rates
dips down the feeling comes back. and the "flicker" say is propably just the same time between frames but
it is not that bad when the framerate is hight enough.
I think you propably think you i can't see 16ms difference ?
but how else you would explain the fact i can´t watch any active solution feeling that same Flicker.
i have not seen yet one projector that 3d picture i liked to watch because of that active synching tehchology. there is black frames between the actual fames ect. Or the dlp rainbow effect that has the same effect.
this is why i can´t thow the geobox away as it and 2 projector solution is the only way i can enjoy 3d games.
as it gives the no flickery 3d. i did try the asus 23 inch 3d vision monitor. I took it back very fast.
it did not differ from any the active monitors.
and luckily every DX11 game work with my setup no problems what so ever.
But im still really really happy you decided to release the fix as it´s seems to be enjoyed by so many
and i can say that it looked super cool. 3D is just something else
You really can´t go back. And like my friend said about his new 4K tv ...doesn´t it look 3d... NO
the 319.00 did not give that good frames. they have been good drivers me on all but it´s
propably time to change as i too have 980ti.

Oh, now I understand the "flickery" part. It seems you are extremely susceptible to motion sickness and strobe light (which the active monitors do as they refresh top/bottom). I am unsure if is a good or bad thing thou :))
I am now very curious about one thing;)
Do you have "Amnesia the Dark Descent" game? If you do try my fix for it. Is the only game where I actually spent like 1 week extra to hack the game engine and prevent the timers to advance between left/right eyes. So there is no eye-lag as both frames are displaying the world at the exact same T.
16ms eye-latency is definitely visible;)
8ms is also visible, but you need to look for it or be very sensitive to motion.

Heh..it's hard sometimes explain something as you using foreign language and you don't know what the actual term is :D
You think my choise to stay away from VR until gen2 been the right choise ?
I defenitly then have to get the amnesia and test your fix. It's propably now at a pretty good Price point.
About the ms its propably similar thing when one is extra sensitive, like the fact they say you can't quiet her the difference in audio latency much below 25m. But you can feel it when you are recording stuf and playing.

I just uninstalled the fix and reinstalled it. Somehow the hotkeys seem to work right now. It's still a little fuzzy since sometimes only depth hot-keys work then out of the blue only convergence hot-keys work. Also I had the game launching in side-by-side a few minutes ago (didn't do anything to force this).
Right now everything seems ok since I managed to save my preferred depth/convergence settings so no more need to tweak them further!
Thanks again helifax. Doom with your fix is really a stellar experience!

Thanks for the feedback;) It looks like it could be a "race-condition" there?
I tested it on 3 machines and I don't get any of this issues;) Working just fine... I wonder what is different between my PCs and yours lol;)
Also if you use any of the presets (F1 & F2) I am intentionally ignoring any of the Convergence settings. So you cannot change convergence (but you can separation as I don't override it).
To change convergence, you need to go back to "default" state, meaning to "un-toggle" the preset;) Then you cna change convergence;) Maybe this is what you are experiencing?
Starting in SBS is weird;) It does that if you didn't started the game as administrator the first time after a driver install;) Haven't seen it after, but the driver might get confused?!?!
Thanks again for the feedback;)

I'm too having issue with black left-eye. I'm running 2x980 Ti. You say there is no SLI support in DOOM? So, it's safe to disable SLI for it?
UPDATE: With SLI disabled 3D works perfectly. But my single 980 Ti G1 card struggling to make 120 FPS :( Even on LOW settings. The difference between LOW and ULTRA is 96 and 84 FPS (first room, looking at the doors). Any ideas greatly appreciated. I'm on Windows 10 with 365.10.
Thanks.

Hi;)
If you have SLI enabled (and the black-eye) what is your FPS in the first room? Do you see any difference?
If you look in the Game's profile (Nvidia Inspector), what is the SLI flag set to? Is it set to "0x02410405 (Dark Souls II)" or something else?
If is not (the wrapper should do it) try setting it to this. SLI bug should be fixed. Scaling should be good as well.
PS:
I am actually really interested in the FPS difference;) So, if you could do that test I would greatly appreciate it;)

In response to Metaloholic, I've never tried Dual Port which I think is that simultaneous RAM accessing thing. That sounds cool but also scary. The problem as I understand it is HDMI can't actually update a monitor as quickly as a Dual-link DVI cable (which is a b***** to find in comparison to a normal DVI cable), but if you compare a 3D game ran through a Dual link DVI cable to one ran through an HDMI and you try turning your guy fast you get a lot less of that fuzzy blur or the bleary multiple images of things.

Sure! :)
SLI bits is correct, but black-eye is there and there is NO difference at all :/ With/WO SLI I'm getting same 85-95 FPS in the first room... Any ideas? :(
P.S. Will try installing the latest driver. Will report.

That is the game behaviour;) Nothing to really do about it;)
OpenGL doesn't support SLI and certainly not AFR... (SFR development was abandoned some while ago...sadly... Maybe it will come back now with Windows 10;) Who knows...) It was MS who stated In Vista days that SFR was needed, later changed to AFR and now with Windows 10 is SFR again...lol
EDIT:
I fixed the SLI problem. However SLI is still working as one card, but you don't have to disable it.
Will push an update shortly.
Also, to get those 120FPS you either overclock the card or lower the resolution or use in-game scaling as described in the Readme. The game is pretty intensive in 2D. Achieving 120FPS is not that easy;) but doable;)

@Seregin:
Like I said in the Readme, Lowever the resolution or internal scaling.
I normally run at 120FPS but in some locations it dips down to 80-90 (That is still 40-45 FPS per eye). IF it doesn't bother you awesome. If it does find the "settings" that work for you. (Mostly resolution related).
Nothing else you can do about it.

Very strange that is that the hotkeys aren't working. I heard this in the past but I was unable to replicate it. I have access only on 3D Vision Ready Monitors setups and it always worked here. Perhaps the driver behaves differently?!?!
What you can do is to use the ini file and add your own keys:
So, if you want to bing F1 key (0x0070) with a convergence of 50 and a toggle you need to write:
NewKeyShortcut(0x0070, -1, 50.0, true)
See the existing presets I added on F1 and F2 and you can add your own;)
Hope this helps;)
