Game looks good but Id rather wait till there's a Helix fix for it, to play any further in 3D.
your PC system is very similar to mine... What about the performance in 2D/3D? I got 35/60 FPS in the open world portion, max settings no 3D, and I wonder if it is not a optimal result. What about you?
Ill benchmark some today and compare 2d/3d

I got almost perfect SLI scaling in this game after GeForce Experience update and optimisation and the weirdest thing is that it happened on ROG Swift ! This is second game which works fine on this screen with SLI and that all with new 347.25 drivers. In case of game I think it is a big step forward compare to Dead Island. This one is more serious and gameplay is smoother, less clunky. Action is fast and more interesting. Whole crafting and character creating options reminds me best titles out there. Whole world is well designed and really nice looking. If someone like Mirror Edge or Brink then this title is must have. Movement is fast and easy to master and environment is giving you opportunity to use it at its finest.

You can play in Compatibility Mode if change profile to Far Cry 4 but if you need to play Real 3D you can switch them of like this: 1: Go to the Dying light folder located in your steam library folder: C:Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Dying Light/DW 2: With WinRar Installed open Data0.pak, extract the varlist_noise and varlist_performance file to this location: C:\Users\”username”\Documents\DyingLight\data\scripts\ (Be sure to make a data and scripts folder just like me). 3: Open notepad 4: drag the varlist_noise.scr file into notepad, change the 0.15 to 0.00 and hit save to disable film grain. 5: drag the varlist_performance file into notepad, change VarInt(“i_shadows_sun_on”, 1) to 0 and hit save to disable shadows.

This is indeed the 2nd scariest nightmarish game I've played, Outlast being #1

Yes it works and helps to get Real 3D look better but the whole environment appears to be quite dull without shadows also as you can see from what this line suggest - that disables only outside/daylight shadows. Everything inside will be still messed up. Also Lightning, crosshair, water and some objects are wrong. You can try to switch off: VarInt("i_clouds_shadows_on", 1) to 0 VarInt("i_lighting_sun_on", 1) to 0 and see how`s that helping. I am playing in CM so I didn`t investigate too much. Compatible Mode still remains the best way to play for me. Great depth and 3D without issues. Only thing you I have to deal with is halo around characters when they talking to me (most visible).

The game keeps forcing 120hz resolution. Is there any way to cap it at 60hz? My monitor won't do 3D at 120
