Although, Optimus does act funky on the M14x... Then we have broken SLI, broken 3D Vision drivers and broken Surround (well more or less like Win7 and latest)... I reverted my Surround setup since I couldnt find a driver set last night for Witcher 3 (SLI+3D Vision) (350.12 works in 3D Vision but not surround, 347.88 works in 3D Vision but NO SLI scaling, 353.x broken 3D Vision... Imagine that:)) )

I've played a bit with the drivers in an attempt to understand what is different in driver 353.62 W10 vs W7/8 edition and managed to find out the following: Win10: Drivers from 353.x use WDDM 2.0 Driver 347.88 uses WDDM 1.3 Win7/8: Drivers from 353.x use WDDM 1.3 Driver 347.88 uses WDDM 1.3 I am wondering now if the bug we are seeing with one eye lagging/not rendering correctly is a direct result of this... I thought this info might prove interesting at least:)
Hi, anyone knows if it is possible to install W10 but to keep old W and have a double boot system?
It was possible with previous versions so it shouldn`t be a problem right now. Someone actually recommended that in here - to keep previous system as alternative or backup. If you install on the same drive you`ll be informed that your system will be stored in .OLD dir and then you will get later option to reverse. Newer did that so someone smarter have to tell you more. I had two systems installed when i switched to Win7 but i have no idea how this works right now.
Hi, anyone knows if it is possible to install W10 but to keep old W and have a double boot system?
If you're installing a fresh copy (as opposed to upgrading) and have the boot CD then you can install to a new partition on the same drive. Shrink the volume first to create the space in disk management. Once you have the space (talking 40-60gb bare minimum) boot from Windows CD and choose to install now. Point it to your newly unallocated space and it will do the rest, including updating your boot partition to give both OS options. Obviously this will be a vanilla install so won't carry any of your installed stuff over.

Ok, sorry, noob question time. I'm really very new to the whole 3D thing, so when you guys say it shouldn't be working for me, I'm not sure if it *is*. I know that because I'm using SLI with an ROG Swift, my 2nd card isn't going to work, but I'm still getting decent framerates in 3D on the one card. I am using the latest driver, 353.62, on Windows 10 Pro. Since I won't get the SLI anyhow, is there a point in me doing the whole "Win 10, driver 347.88, Helifax's profile, Flugan's version" thing? And what is "Flugan's version"? Didn't see a link in last few pages. Anyway, what I'm asking is, I am getting some 3D in game, but being new to 3D gaming I don't know if what you guys are saying is that it should be a lot *better* (noted references to "plain vanilla 3D"). Please let me know if I would get an improvement from taking these steps, knowing SLI in 3D isn't possible for me. I'd just go ahead and try it but it seems to be working reasonably well currently and having to turn off all Windows 10 updates to keep it working is pricey.

Did anyone had any success with 350.12 with SLI and 3D Vision Surround ? Or am I the only one that attempts this?:)) What I tested on Win10 is: - 347.88 3D Vision works but no SLI. - 350.12 3D Vision works but SLI is funky... In 2D it works better but in 3D I see GPU usage of 60% jumping all over the place.. (WDDM 1.3) - 352.84 SLI works but 3D Vision is busted... (WDDM 2.0) I can't seem to find any other driver release between 350.12 and 352.84. Since 353.62 is working fine on Win7/8 but not on Win 10 I expect the WDDM to be at fault here: I bet since the driver model changed 3D Vision automatic doesn't hook the DirectX calls as it used to in older drivers(WDDM 1.3) and that is why we see one eye completely white... Anyone made any more tests ?:) Trying different profiles, SLI bits, settings didn't seem to help with anything...
