I was really hoping that with the upcoming console version, they would have also redid the PC version to include a single exe.
Forget about things like decent upcoming VR support (where this split exe was a fundamental problem behind a lot of the issues), it's just annoying as heck to constantly spam your friends list with "Is Playing" messages anytime you change cars/tracks.
Hopefully it's a temporary state to them finally getting it down to a single exe. Because that's definitely going the wrong direction.

@foreverAwake: do you think you could do your magic with the clouds again? Your fixes always worked and brought us a correct depth. Only your latest fix didn't work. Is there any chance to fix this? I would be happy if you could have a look at this once again.

@foreverAwake, in case you read my message I would be happy if you could give us a short answer. Thank you very much.

???
The fix is currently working for me. I'm on game version 1.4.3, Nvidia drivers 361.43. I'll experiment further and see if I can duplicate the problem.

Yes, that would be nice!
As you can read in the above posts from me and Ziozeus from 12/27/2015 your latest fix didn't work for us and the clouds are still too near. This happened for the first time. All your previous fixes worked for us and we had the correct cloud-depth. Since December 2015 we have to live with wrong cloud-depth again. Would be nice if you really could have a look at this once again. Thank you so much for your efforts!

Just to give help to whom may need:
With latest NVIDIA drivers (don't know from when on) there's a problem with profiles so you won't be able to save your convergence settings.
To solve, use nvidia inspector and delete these profiles (if you don't play assasin's creed of course)
- ACS
- assassin's creed syndicate
Then go to assetto corsa profile and add acs.exe to the list of executables assigned (and all other .exe also like showroom.exe if you like)
to nvidia guys: you using the workaround of assettocorsa/acs.exe to point to the correct executable for your profile shows this immediate drawback I think... but you won't be reading anyway so uh...

Yes! I can confirm this! The fix is now working again! Thank you guys!!!
Another question which maybe one of you 3D-gurus can answer:
I have sometimes the problem (especially in Assetto Corsa) when I play in 3D-surround right after loading a track or sometimes onlay after some time (20 seconds, 40 seconds of driving for example) SUDDENLY my framerate drops from constant 60 FPS to constant 40 FPS and the gameplay is stuttering although the red line in the render-app stays totally flat!
Most of the time (when this happens) I realize that ONE of my three monitors has lost it's normal 3D-mode. Then I have to quit the race and restart the game...
First I thought of some kind of VSYNC-problem, but then I remembered that VSYNC would HALFE the framerate (from 60 to 30 FPS, but not to 40 FPS)...
Has anyone playing in 3D-surround ever experienced this?
What could be the reason? (SLI-problem, so that one of the three monitors runs out of sync and loses 3D?)

Hello, great work and investment HELIX and all others !!! thank you !!! without you 3DVision died: - ((((
The sun in Assetto Corsa is before the clouds! he should be behind? it is possible to change? thank you very much
I use the 32bits version of Assetto Corsa because of Real Head Motion mod (only works with 32bit version), but it seems that this 3dfix does not work with 32bit game.

Turning 3D off/on via Strg T solved this 40 fps cap problem.
