nvidia 3d wired glasses - How can I get the driver?
2 / 3
Ignore the arrows in this pic.
But is your monitor showing up like this?

You can see that both monitors are recognized.
If it's not recognized, it might say "plug and play" or display device on DVI, etc...
In that case, your glasses and/or your monitor is not being recognized.
I'm not certain, but perhaps the display needs to be plugged into the primary GPU.
It is plugged in on the primary card

Try reinstalling the drivers using DDU, leaving the glasses connected.
Also, I can't remember if those wired glasses still contained a battery.
If it has a battery and the battery is no longer chargeable, that could be the problem.
The wired glasses were made a long time ago, so if there is a battery, it would have needed maintenance charging or else it would have been ruined.
To check, see this link.

There's also a bat file that automatically completes the wizard for you, I'll see if I can find it.

So, I uninstalled the gpu drivers earlier through the device manager, but to make sure I've tried everything I decided to give ddu a shot.
However it seems like it's not really a good idea on an x99 platform since there is no internal gpu and I just uninstalled the display drivers...
welp, any clue how I can fix this again? (I literrally can't see anything from my pc now, not even a post...)
You need to take your time when using DDU and let it finish each step completely.
I use DDU all the time and neither my CPU nor Motherboard have integrated graphics. Plus everyone in this forum uses it.
I am using Windows 7 64 bit, but that shouldn't matter.
Also, never uninstall or reinstall GPU drivers via Device Manager.
I only recent got a Display with Display Port/G-Sync, so I'm not familiar with any quirks with getting them to show post. Seems odd that you are having a problem because Windows has default bare minimum display drivers.
You might try using the HDMI input, if there is one.

I was just a bit too fast to comment about it, I just had to wait a bit longer.
Back to the real problem now, I installed geforce experience again, and the installation of the 3d vision driver is failing.

If you do not use Shadow Play or any of the "Shield" products, do not install the GeForce Experience, because it does not offer anything for 3D. It's for 2D gaming only.

If you are using GeForce Experience for the installation do not do so.
Instead, download them from
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
or
http://www.geforce.com/drivers
You can also try unplugging the ethernet cable from your PC during the installation process
One other thing I forgot to mention, try the glasses in different USB ports.
Nvidia recommends a USB 2.0 port directly on the MotherBoard.
I have my emitter plugged into a USB hub without any issues, but for others, it seems to be finicky with which USB port that they use.

I tried plugging it in a usb2 on the mobo now instead of a usb3, but no matter what it keeps failing https://gyazo.com/7d3c5f3224797e45d817e8e52bca686d
Odd, the driver installation should succeed regardless if your glasses are recognized or not, because 3D Vision Discover could be used.
Or are you saying the drivers installed OK, but not the USB driver?
Hmm, these USB wired glasses are an odd duck.
There's not much history/posts on them.
The few posts that there were, the users never posted back.
You might check them for a battery, if it's dead, it could be the problem. I'm not really sure.
We do occasionally get posters having troubles getting their emitters to be recognized, so it might be something similar.
