[s]rename the DX9 exe to "moh" (got some drunken inspiration after coming back home last night-- :go through the 3d profiles added in the new beta drivers and see if they help) Fixes annoying white faces. Engine.shadows 0 removes all the badly rendered shadows. Feedback?

--Update--
Forget it! White faces still there, just that they don't occur as often.[/s]

Hate when that happens! Played for a few hours in 3d with no white faces bugging me. Now its popping up all the time. Victim of circumstance I guess

All the tricks don't work with the Steam-version. Renaming the exe drops the framerate ingame significantly and half of the screen downwards is a total mess.
I wonder if there will be an official profile...

So has there been some sort of conclusion as to what to do to make it good in 3d ???

It is FINALLY released today. After months of delays...

Don't forget the new Deus Ex, I'd put that up there at the top of my most anticipated list with Skyrim and Witcher 2

Finally bought 2 Worlds 2 yesterday and i was quite suprised to see that the 3D effect is significantly different in this version than the version I downloaded a few months back.

the old version was much darker than usual in dungeons - which I absolutely loved! I had to walk round with a torch which really added to the atmosphere.

The new version is actually really good in 3D with the ofdr rename, hdr set to 0 and shadows turned off.

Just thought I would mention it as I thought it was interesting and i am interested to see what the official 3D profile will *eventually* bring

thanks for the update, still I will wait for the next big driver release and pray that we finally get a profile, but it's been months since release and nvidia does nothing about TW2 problems /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

For me the white face is gone, and it would look pretty good in 3D if it wasn't so ridiculously bright. Having to shut off the shadows seems to create this problem. Playing with HDR/bloom off of course.
