Then again, just to make clear to the moderators of Bioshock Infinite who have made it abundantly clear they check out our comments here, I will be front of the queue to bu this game, despite the moderators imo agrressive and hostile behaviour, if the game is in 3D. £35 is a small price to pay for state of the art gaming!

Oh hell yeah! If I'm wrong and it does support S3D I'll be ponying up. I'm one of the 100K :->

lol what's with that analogy ? White man with gun who is a racist , really ? My father is a cop and partner is a black cop who I'm friends with .

not sure whats confusing Defected, Im saying if a person in authority from one ethic/political group entered into a lobby of another ethnical ethic/political group, told them all they were idiots, then arrested anyone for showing upset, that would be rather unfair.. and that is what it feels like, to me, in the 2K forum. This is not a race or political issue, or gun issue.
if it makes you feel better we could replace the word black with Manchester United, White with Chelsea football clubs... then all is back to normal ;-)
Anyway, enough about race, we are all brothers in my eyes (even the sisters too)

Your right.. So much BS going on it gets to me at times .
True guys, it doesent matter what we came from, heck even if you should come from the Moon I dont have a problem with that :)
We are all just people but sometimes moderators seems different thou :D
That's true, but at least the threads being kept open, and things seemed to have calmed down.
Now, back to being ill, and wasting time on games rather then bickering :-)

Bck to Minervas Den, I didnt even know that came out for PC, is it any good? It's only available via ms store for steam though..... ewww, not overly trusting of MS.... is it worth it?[/quote]
I'm playing it through in S3D now, just a little past the first level. The S3D is acceptable, when I turn off shadows. There is some fog ghosting that is untameable by any sort of convergence, but doesn't distract me too much.
The game itself is fun in a Bio2 vein. Not as good as Bio1, but it's still hella fun to visit Rapture again. Easily worth the $5 to me.
Getting it setup to run is the usual madcap nightmare with GFWL. You eventually get it to work.
One heads up- there is a terminal in the game called SpitFire, a retro game in the game. Delete your user.ini file before playing, otherwise you get a terrific hang when you enter that game, and lose your progress.

"If I have any regrets, it’s that there are always more features that we wanted to add than we had time to implement. For example, some of the most requested PC features these days are in-game V-Sync and FOV adjustment controls. Unfortunately, given our tight sc—wait, never mind. We added those too!
Still have questions? Then send them to community@irrationalgames.com and I’ll have answers in a separate post next week!
We’re incredibly excited about the quality of BioShock Infinite on the PC platform, and we can’t wait for you to experience it for yourself on March 26th. Secure your copy at www.preordernow.com!

Hi,
If you'd like to have Bioshock Inifinite 3D support: leave a request for it here:
http://forums.2kgames.com/showthread.php?205736-PC-3D-Vision-Support-please!
I don't know why I just spent an hour of my life reading that thread and associated links. I closed it and this is the image of how some of these ppl would like to have played Bioshock :
You are in a bathosphere.
>go east
You pass though a door.
>look
You see many leaky pipes and debris. Exits are South, East and West. You see a Big Daddy.
>shoot fire plasmid
The Big Daddy is on fire. He resists the flames! He Charges! Big Daddy does 39hps damage.
>shoot pistol
The bullet ricochets and hits the light! You are plunged into darkness. Don't get eaten by a grue.

Lol, Kolreth, you read through the whole thing? Poor you! I like your analogy, its weird isnt it. i dont understand why people are always so anti progression. W
"What i have now is good enough for me, so it should be good enough for you!" Ok, fine, but by that philosophy we would never have got passed sitting around in caves picking lice out of each others hair
"I hate 3D and wish it would die" Ok cyclops, but most of us have two eyes and generally prefer having both open to experience the rich world of 3D. Why would you not want to include that in games.
I have just been playing a bit more of trine 2 in 3D. It is quite simply a mind orgasm. The beaches later on is the visual equivalent of ecstasy and LCD being wrapped around a dozen rainbows, sprinkled with a little fairy dust before being shoved directly into your brain. It is stunning, and everybody (inc, non gaming, non 3D, non techophile people) have frothed at the mouth at the sight of it.
BUT NO! I should be playing 2D pong and think myself lucky for the awesomeness of 2D, telling everyone "who needs colour, it doesnt improve the gameplay"

All those saying 3d is a gimmick...
F*cking real life is in 3d, dammit.
I hated many of Trine 2 puzzles, but the 3d was so good I forced myself to finish it plus the DLC.

Yeah... I feel kinda the same, trine was quite a cool pysics puzzler, but i have found trine 2 to be less well thoughtout with the puzzles. The graphics are keeping me going though, it is rather stunning in 3D!
