Problem with ASUS VG278H!
Hi!

I got my ASUS VG278H today and wanted to try the 3d. But it is not working on the left eye :( with my right eye,
i see no ghosts and a clear picture, but on my left eye it looks like i had no shutter.
when i look through the right glass with my left eye, there is no Problem, so there is nothing wrong with my eyes!

my GPU is a Msi twin frozr Gtx 560 Ti.
already tried to reinstall the 301.42 driver, but it did not help :(

i would sincerly appreciate any help!

Edit: first i connected the Monitor with HDMI, but changed it 5 minutes later to DVI.

Edit2: forgot to mention, when i enable 3d and have the problem with the left glass, its still getting darker SOMETIMES! but only on the left edge of the left glass.
and it is not like shuttering, its like a simple shadow increasing and decreasing sometimes.

(sorry for bad english)

You took the DVI cable, that was supplied with the monitor, did you?

Hey up mate, ive read about similar problems with other people's glasses, most likely (id put a tenner on it) your glasses are broken! ask or replacement (or borrow a friends if you know anyone with nvidia 3d) to ensure thats the problem.

very unlikely its the DVI cable if your monitors working fine.

Do the glasses work fine on other games or do they do the same as they do in max payne 3? I had a similar problem with just max payne, my left eye seamed like the shutter was not opeing, like that lens was very dark compared to the right lens. let me know if it works with other games fine, cause if it does you dont have a hardware issue, its a software issue.

I would say you have a bad pair of glasses. do you have a FRYS or other big computer store that sells the glasses you have now? if so id buy a pair and test it and if they work then you know you have a bad pair. or you could do a warrenty claim on the current pair you have.
