It would depend on how close or how far your object of interest is to deter ghosting. You will have to find that out for yourself. There is no majic bullet.

If you mean percentage seperation then the simple answer is the max you can get without straining your eyes.

Adjust it in-game - every game is different, using ctl+f3 and ctl+f4.
