There is not much to say but READ AGAIN.... I would say you are pretty lazy ? I bet everyone here has read the whole thread. Sorry thats how its with pc. You actually gotta work for the extra fidelity in games. Make shure using the game build reguired. Extract achive, make shure game profile is ok. Propably simpler way to import it is with geforce Profile export tool. Export. edit with notepad, replace tombraider profile data with the one displayplayed in the thread. Run. Turn off compatibility.

Thanks for your reply. I actually have dyslexia. I have been able to get most of the fixes running eventually for a lot of my games. This first page just completely confuses me I read it try and follow read it again etc. I have no one here that can help me. Then at the end it said FIX so I thought great I don't have to go through that whole process. Basically I downloaded the fix I have added it to the game directory. I used NVidia profile inspector this part should be easy but again I get confused. I clicked export all driver profiles Nvidia txt format otherwise I cant edit it. deleted the old rise of the tomb raider profile added the new one. Saved it imported it. Game said something about 3D and the profile and requires a restart. Restarted the game settings menu. Put 3D to ON started the game now I get an error saying " a problem has occurred with your display driver you may not have enough resources to run the game at the selected settings etc. You can try using the same settings or lower them. " Its DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR. Ill understand if I don't get a response I really have been trying. Thanks for understanding.

Sorry I have just noticed my game is version 668.1_64 The instructions say and yourself 610.1 This is still the case?. If I downgrade is what I have done above even close to what I need to do?. Feel so silly. Thank you.

If you are having issues with applying the fix, my recommendation is to use the latest version of the game + the official fix. Most of the things are fixed in the official version. There are a couple of minor differences but nothing that big that requires you to go through this hassle if you have difficulties;) Also, make sure you reinstall your NVIDIA drivers (Clean Install).

A reply from the legend himself :). " If you are having issues with applying the fix, my recommendation is to use the latest version of the game + the official fix. Most of the things are fixed in the official version. There are a couple of minor differences but nothing that big that requires you to go through this hassle if you have difficulties;) Also, make sure you reinstall your NVIDIA drivers (Clean Install). " I did notice the normal version looks ok. I thought I had it working after dropping the fix into the game directory editing the profile I start the game it says compatibility mode on but when I press ctrl+f11 it freezes. " Yes that version is still needed. " I guess that might be the problem then?. " By the way you do have atleast 970 2-way sli ? the game is heavy. " Yes Sir i have some nice superclocked 1080s. So i guess my options are to downgrade or Helifax " my recommendation is to use the latest version of the game + the official fix. " That's what I'm trying I'm on 668.1_64. I feel like I'm getting close here and achieving something most people do with there eye's closed. I'm a lot closer than before just the freezing when trying to turn compatibility mode off hopefully if i downgrade the version it should work :). ?. Thank you all for persevering with me I know its frustrating.

The SBS option included in the game is much better optimized. In SBS 1080p the game was running like 45 fps and no fps drops in the cutscenes. I love 3D vision but I have to say that performance is not its strengths, lots of games have a much worse performance in 720p compared to SBS in 1080p.

Bought the game during the sale a week or two ago and just started playing it. The 3D without the fix is pretty good, though I play most games at around 80% depth and this game I have to tune it to around 20%. The first big glaring bug I notice is during a cut scene getting through the mountains at the beginning of the game, the avalanche down a mountainside you see is completely 2D. That's the sort of thing I see and say to myself, "I bet the Helixmod fix fixes that". Don't think I can go back to such a far earlier version just to play that though. Just out of curiosity, would it be a great deal of work to adjust the current fix to the newest version? Even if it were just for the really glaring stuff like the one I just mentioned? Or are we still expecting further versions? I would agree not worth fixing or reversioning anything until the base game is finally fully stabilized.

No update will be ever released from my part. Sinking 200h+ in the fix is enough. (They also made huge difference in how the shaders are generated :( Sadly a new fix without sinking another 200+ hours and playing all the content, can't be produced...) If you want to fix different things in the latest version, please be my guest:)
