Are there any plans for Nvidia to produce a 64bit stereo driver? The lack of stereo is the only thing stopping me from upgrading my operating system to take advantage of my AMD 64 4000+ chip I recently installed.

Same here. I in particular want working SLI drivers for Windows XP 64 bit so I can play my Far Cry in 64 bit (greater draw distance effects, details on rocks surfaces surf on beach etc) PLUS play them (eventually) with a 3D headset. I've downloaded the Far Cry 64-bit patches, now I want the driver support.
In other words, I want EVERYTHING; not just a half-assed partly-addressed solution, I want it all wrapped up and ready to go.

I temporary solution might be to implement a dual boot system, where winxp32bit would be sued for Stereo gaming and 64-bit for everything else. Atleast it is better than no stereo support at all or no 64-bit o/s at all.
It was the same in the old days when XP was just released. XP had less support for stereo than 64-bit does not... Infactm I still have WinME installed as dual boot... though havent used it in about a year :)

I only want 64 bit for my games and as I only want to play my games in stereo, I find it pointless to upgrade to win 64bit until a stereo driver comes out.
I mean, when you've played games in stereo, who wants to go back to boring old flat 2D.

I am too waiting for 64-bit 3d stereo drivers that work with SLI also. I found a solution to play all the extra content with 3d stereo though, all i did was dual boot XP & XP x64 and install Far Cry with the AMD64 upgrade and exclusive content. I found that two new shortcuts to the game where made "Far cry (64 - Bit) which is in Bin64 folder" & "Far Cry (32 - Bit) which is in Bin32 Folder. So it got me thinking what if I try to run the 32 bit executable in normal Windows XP. To my utter surprise it worked all the extra content worked in Windows XP :D . Theres one catch you have to start from the beggining of the game to make sure the extra content works cause for some reason the old savegames that I had didn't show the extra content. I tried running it in 3d stereo also and wala it worked too /w00t.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':w00t:' /> .

Tom, I'm expecting new drivers around June 21st-ish.
I love far cry...anyway they should come out with them soon. Usually they put out a couple of beta video drivers right before they release a stereo. Just check guru3d.com for the video betas then eventually when they stop putting out betas they will release the final which will have a stereo driver also. Happens everytime.

Nvidia have officially released the new video drivers for x64, but there is STILL no stereo x64 driver available for download.

for what it's worth /wave.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> - PLEASE Nvidia, get those stereo drivers out - we invest so much money and effort on our systems, please help us to enjoy the potential we have already paid for. :(

How can it be stupid? It has everything a fps game *should* have - wide expansive beautiful environments to roam in, a variety of vehicles to use, weapons are cool, the gameplay is a nice mixture of stealth and attack at the right moments... the jungle is MADE for 3D...what exactly is your objection to this game?

I'm waiting on this one before I make a move to 64 bit. not point gaining a sliver of speed and an extra 2 gig of ram if I lose my 3D.
