This is designed to be an Oculus Rift demo, but I tried it in 3DVision (using non OR option) and I thought it still gave a good sense of scale on my 46 inch TV.

It even has Razer Hydra support ...

After you have done so, lean back in your chair and hit the Start button on the right Hydra controller ... [/quote]For the ladies ... Speaking of the Hydra, does anyone else here use one? What are your thoughts? I got mine a week ago, have only used it on Portal and Tomb Raider so far. It seems to sit somewhere between a mouse and controller for accuracy when aiming (closer to a mouse), but overall movement isn't as easy.

Play Resident Evil series with it. I was very impressed with the video on revelations thread. It kind of balances out how movement is difficult with hydra with RE series having weird movement. The user was nice enough to upload a gameplay clip showing hydra in use. Should check it out.

I bought one, although I haven't really used it too much yet. I mainly got it for the games that don't have controller support at all. I do really wish it had feedback though, rumble and maybe even something new like a gyro to offer varying degrees of resistance.

It always seemed to me it would be a hassle for a game with great control on pc/keyboard [pretty much all]. RE series is the only games I can think of that movement in game would be similiar to hydra use.

My biggest issue, could most likely be changed in settings somewhere, was when using the ratcheting it was press button to stop aiming, when I was already used to (from GlovePie/Wii Remote scripts) and like pressing a button to aim. I'm sure I could learn it in time ... I retaught myself to play without an inverted Y-axis after years and years of gaming with it.

I accidentally ordered two of those. Never returned the other one. I use one as much as I can. I love the idea, a little difficult in some games but it takes a little learning. I normally use Hybrid since I don't want to do as much Rataching (or however you spell it). I play with Battlefield Quite a lot.

If I am getting you right are you saying you would prefer to press a button to AIM? that is simple just invert the Ratcheting button. I found that out by accident. the Guy who did the RE6 MCE had it set so you have to press the ratcheting button to aim and I had to figure out how to inverse it.

MotionCreator is pretty easy to get to grips with, I tried inverting the ratchet button in Tomb Raider, but it didn't work out that well. My solution has been to use hybrid mode for normal gameplay, but when I'm holding the left trigger to aim, it switches to a direct mouselook mode. That means I have more accurate, direct aiming when I'm trying to shoot, and looser, easier to navigate camera movement with no ratcheting when I'm not. It's not bad, the only issue is if I'm aiming all the way to one side, then release aim, I immediately start spinning until I bring the controller back to central. I suspect I could mess around a little more to make that transition less jarring though.

Guess no one could be bothered checking it out then?
