I should have reported back on this, but I did look at the shadow issues reported and they are (fortunately) just more of the same PS shaders that I was able to fix. I am currently having an issue in that I can't get the game to load with the fix in place, so something has gone funny with one of the shaders, but until I track it down I can't make anything available because I can't check that it all works. I will be going on vacation tomorrow as well - sorry. @3d4dd Please can you tell me where you saw the broken night reflection shader? It took me ages to sort that out, and I may have just missed something at a different quality setting, or maybe the Morrowind Expansion has introduced more shaders (like it has with shadows). What game/quality/render settings are you using?

I'm very sorry for my late answer. But as You are on vacation I hope it doesn't mind too much ;) Thank You for taking a look at the shadow PS! As You was asking about my game settings I discovered the reason why they were broken for me: I had set shadows to "high" instead of "ultra" for performance reasons (everything else like reflections, textures, etc. is "high", too). When I have encountered the shadow issue I switched to "ultra",applied and had a long loading screen. Unfortunately the shadows were still broken so I switched back to "high" again. BUT I didn't completely restart the game with the changed ultra shadow settings. In a new test I have now restarted the game after switching to "ultra" and voila: the shadows from open fires and inside caves are flawless!!! Nevertheless it would be helpful if also the PS for "high" shadow settings are fixed now and I could switch back to "high" as I prefer to increase visibility range instead. But not really necessary. I also had a closer look at the issue with the moon's reflections in Morrowind. Now I think that not the reflections per se cause an issue but the bloom effect that is triggered by the light sparkles in contrast to the dark water during night. It also depends on the viewing angle. Now I just disable blooming in the game settings when I'm close to water surfaces for a longer period during the night and the water looks fine. No need to spend much time to try to fix it. So thanks again for Your great work :)

Don't miss this ;) http://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/2017/07/03/announcing-the-eso-plus-bonus-event Just noticed that the sun/moon reflections are broken when it is raining and You see rain splashes on the water surface. Maybe this is the reflection issue I had observed before... Unfortunately I can't remember an area where it is always raining so it is hard to hunt the shader :( On the other side this issues is quite rare.

Finally I managed to hunt and fix the shader for reflections during rain. I also discovered and fixed a special shader for reflections in running water. After arriving at areas with a lot of snow and ice surfaces I discovered that the broken specular glow is very prominent under these conditions. As mentioned above I have modified the shaders for specular glow so that it can be reduced to different degrees depending on the actual environments to make this issue less obvious. I hope I can offer this optional hotfix soon but I'm still struggling with a strange issue with the variables (see https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/685657/3d-vision/3dmigoto-now-open-source-/99/?offset=1476#5201204).

Here is my new version: https://s3.amazonaws.com/3d4dd/TESO_3dMigoto_DX11_v2_specular_glow.zip (remove the old version of the fix before installing this one) It fixes the light reflections for sun/moons in runnig water and during rain (the splashes of rain drops are still a little bit off but not very visible). It also includes the option to reduce the intensity of specular glow with hotkey "z". It doesn't fix the issue but makes it less obvious. You can change the key binding in d3dx.ini under
[Key5] Key = z
"z" works nice on my QWERTZ keyboard, please make a suggestion which key is better for QWERTY users! Starting the game the glow is reduced to 70% which works for most conditions. It affects the glow on metall-, glass-like and wet surfaces (equipment, walls, ground, etc.). The hotkey cycles through 5 different values ranging from original to almost no intensity. If You don't want to reduce the specular glow change in d3dx.ini under [Constants] z = 0.7 to z = 1 and remove the entry for [Key5].

Nice update - it's been raining a lot in Vvardenfell so the fix comes at a good time lol.

Thank You for Your feedback! Do You have a suggestion which hotkey for toggling the glow intensity should be the default one? Is there a conflict with "z" for "normal" users? I'm playing with controller and changed a lot of key bindings so I have no idea what default hotkey I should offer when I ask to publish the update on Helixmodblog...

Just discovered another shader for moon/sun reflections in Grathwood that had to be fixed. Just download my new version of the fix again and replace the last version (at least the ShaderFixes folder). https://s3.amazonaws.com/3d4dd/TESO_3dMigoto_DX11_v2_specular_glow.zip I hope that the last game update didn't change shaders that were already fixed. The water shader for rain could be broken in this area, too. But after waiting 10(!!!) hours for rain in vain I finally gave up. "Seems it never rains in southern [s]California[/s] Grathwood"...

I can't get this to work. 3Dmigoto evidently works, as I can configure it to go into shader hunting mode. 3D is also working. But the fixes don't seem to be loading. Most notably, the ui is at screen depth and in-game the sky box is too near. Any suggestions?

This Still works for me. (trying the free weekend) Actually it looks perfect. but.... However it seems somewhere along the line the HUD shader has disappeared from the archive, or the shader has changed, although I was not able to find anything referencing HUD in the fix. I was able to stereoize it modifying this shader as attached. fe142cd0ebeace31-vs_replace.txt But I'm not sure how texture filtering works in 3dmigoto or if it was even required to push the crosshair further. I assume this is needed at least.

There is no difference WITH or WITHOUT the fix at all - it looks all the same. At least, this file helped with UI, thank you this is how it looks with or without the fix
