"I did check these options further and the did not find these settings natively enabled or found in the games, however the Ambient Occlusion is turned off in 3D mode by default. You can submit a feature request to our driver team directly for further test or get this working:

So yea it's not happening. Don't know if its worth following the link to request it, but I can't get on it, the page just shows 'access denied'.

Odd http://www.nvidia.com/object/driverqualityassurance.html seems to work for me
There's this http://nvidia-submit.custhelp.com/app/utils/login_form/redirect/ask but they want another form of sign-in.
Hi, the same case here. I'm playing mass effect 3 with AO forced in nvidia inspector. It works quite right in 2D, but it doesn't work at all in 3D.
Has anyone found a solution yet?
Thanks

Does the ENB mod for Skyrim work with 3D? If so, try that. The Ambient Occlusion it uses is vastly superior to the jagged, heavy-handed AO that you'll get from the nvidia control panel. I used it when I played Skyrim in 2D and was very impressed. It caused some issues with water from memory, but was still worth it.
