FWIW, the next driver will have better compatibility for Geforce 400/500 series cards and "Old Skool games".

If you make Doom3, Quake 4, and Quake Wars work in 3D; I would be forever grateful.

Sorry. I meant to say in general, not specific with stereoscopic 3d :(

This next driver is sounding better and better. I'm cautiously optimistic /shifty.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':shifty:' />

I'm just curious. Since nvidia had stereosupport with quite a few opengl games in the old drivers, wouldn't it be quite easy to implement opengl in the new ones? The hard job is already done i mean...

Is this compatibility implementation to the exclusion of 200 series cards?

Another older game everyone should be playing in stereo is Titan's Quest. It renders 100% perfectly in 3d (although the expansion doesn't). AND you can set it for some jaw dropping pop-out, without giving yourself a head-ache!

Edit: thought of another one. The original DIRT by codemasters, played with a racing wheel in stereo is nuts awesome. You do have to edit an XML file to get the shadows off, but once your to that point, you'll thank me :)

Sry to re-open this thread, but as I saw "Rune" listed under the compatible games - even with an excellent rating! - I installed and tried it, but no luck: 3D is neither working with the D3D or the Opengl renderer.

Then I tested the newest "D3D10" renderer from kentie.net which works really well AND the 3D gets activated (monitor, glasses), but I just don't see nothing in 3D :-(

Can someone please help me out? I love this game and in 3D it would probably beat any other game because of its pure awesomeness!^^

Hoping for the best,
Hotshot

i recently went back to play Doom again (snowberry version) and while the 3D emitter starts and i can turn on the 3D cross-hair in game there is no longer any actual 3D. did something change with the newer drivers to mess it up? that is the only difference on my machine. anyone else having this issue?
