The emitter is the same. Only the glasses have a new design. I got a pair of each and ver.1 will work with my lightboost, and ver.2 glasses will work with my vision 1 monitor as well. So they're backward and forward compatible. no worries dude, grab that lightboost monitor if that is what you're after. :D
