I have been playing Trine 2 for a few days now. Wow oh Wow. For $15.00 this is a MUST HAVE for 3Ders. It reminds me of God of War. THe artwork is above anything I've ever seen. The colors are incredible. The 3D is by far the best I've seen. This is why I game, right here. Absolutely beautiful.

I can see this game is going to take a while for me to complete as I have to keep stopping to take in the beautiful 3D visuals - really stunning piece of work!!

I see people are using Xbox 360 controllers, but I haven't been able to get mine to work at all. Any tricks to it?

I don't use 3d vision but even without the game looks superb. For just 13€ it's worth it. 4xSSAA+FXAA works pretty good.

I have played a ton of games in 3D over the years and have my personal favorites but this game might be the best 3D game made so far.

If during the game you press ESC and go to game settings, you should be able to choose the controller to use. Can you not see the controller or is it not working when selected?

I'm easily maxing out the game with my sli 570's in 2d with full gpu usages ect if i want it but soon as i switch to 3d my gpu usage goes to about -50% on both cards and i get around 20/30fps, 2500k is at 4.5 ghz.
Disabling 3dvision service and using tridef gives solid 100fps with vsync off in 3d so there's something wrong, anybody have any idieas, tried a few drivers, all have same issue.
Allso game does'nt max out fps with low settings ect, sli just stays at a low -50% on both cards.
[/quote]

my single gtx 570 maxes out the game 60 fps on 3d vision (2XAA)

see if turning off sli does anything

Anyone else having problems with the latest beta drivers and Trine2?

I get aloot of chromatic aberations. Also the ingame 3D sliders are not working for adjusting convergence and depth, etc.. Alot of shaders seem to be out of place...Weird since I get this only with the 290.53 drivers. The previous beta worked OK.

Added a screenshot to see what I mean:)

Best Regards.

EDIT: Fixed it! The problem was with the driver install. After reinstalling them (with perform clean install) everything is ok now!

I 100% agree with the description "3D Masterpiece" for this game! It's so obvious the developers had 3d in mind when you see how the color schemes prevent any kind of ghosting whatsoever. Definitely the best looking graphics out there. It's be really nice to see nvidia bundle this game with their 3d vision kits. While some of the big developers may be letting the 3d quality slip in their games and engines in search of the easier dollar, it's the smaller developers like these guys who show them how it's done.
