And two save files from right near the area where the image was taken. I had to backtrack to that location. I'm assuming you need both these files since they both have the same timestamp. Descend the ladder and the storage room is a side room off that hallway, fyi. Go in there and the location is at the far end of the room. I recommend crouching the entire way, lol.
That's weird - the forums won't accept attachments that don't have an extension that isn't of the image type?

I've found and fixed the shader using the same technique Mike used to fix the blood pools.

There is another one I found in case you are interested. I killed a working joe and, after he fell to the ground, the white stuff that came shooting out of his mouth was displaying incorrectly on his face. I couldn't get a screenshot cause alien dropped thru ceiling making me hide. Came back to the room and working joe was flipped over face down. I've noticed other weird things after loading a save, too. Guns hanging in mid-air after a fight with a group of humans for instance.

Yep, definitely interested. If you can give me a game save, and some directions I can find it and fix it.
After he was lying face down, did it look OK? Only a temporary glitch?
Also, drop these five shaders into your ShaderFixes folder, on the off chance that they already fix these sorts of problems. (shaders are often reused, these are the only 5 I can find that match the same code structure)

The blood pool guy Mike fixed had the same effect, where it was more detailed when first seen, but then later just the guy on the ground. Sometimes he's face down, sometimes face up.
The guns hanging in midair is not us, I think those are game bugs. I also see the motion tracker in mid-air after a game save.

I've updated the fix to include all known problems. Not a giant change from the prior release, but this should be fairly complete.
I added the ability to set the crosshair depth independently from the HUD. So if aiming is hard, you might want to set the .z parameter which will only affect crosshairs and other UI pieces, not the full HUD and UI. .x is still used for the main HUD.
This is less than perfect, because the crosshair shaders are used for things like the in-game help text, and monitor displays, so I've left it at zero by default.
I've only played up to level 5 or so, so if you still see glitches, please let us know.

I want to especially thank Mike_ar69 for this one, as Alien is one of my favorite sci-fi of all time.
Mike did the amazing job of working out the technique required to fix the shaders, all I've done is apply that working example to the other cases and try to be complete about it. The fix is incredible. The game is terrifying and intense, I whimper whenever the Alien grabs me.
BTW, I also have DK2, and played a little bit of Alien using it. The 3D Vision fix is better.
So in any case, Thanks Mike!

Thanks again to all involved in this fix... Simply Awesome Work..
Played my first couple of hours last night...
WOW..
Via the Projector (120") playing with about (225%) depth and using my Carl Zeiss head tracker the sense of immersion is just simply unreal. I also move the couch to way less than 1 meter away from the screen in a totally blacked out room, looks ridiculous :D put plays like nothing else..
This is now probably my greatest movie like gaming experience to date... Can't wait to play more later tonight & get the heart racing again.. I think I had a near heart attack last night while trying to hack a elevator door while hearing the Alien behind me... Phew.. I just made it... Oh such fun...

Thanks guys are awesome...
