Try a clean installation of the nvidia drivers,it should work !

Witcher 2 is functional now with latest patch from cdprojeck. It runs decent in 3d surround and it is an outstanding title. Mass Effect 2 - well no surround, but honestly it is such an outstanding game I would just play it in regular 3d on one monitor. You are missing a great game.

If still not working, I also encourage others to post on new Witcher2:

devs seem to be responding in that forum.

At the moment is 3d vision likely to get many more games this year or is the selling prices of the asus monitor and kit for the purchase of a 2560x1600 27"/30" monitor more worthwhile?

Judging from their earlier results, aka:
1)environment working -> poor fps
2)no action at all
3)poor fps bug solved -> environment bugged out

I seriously fear their next "solution". If we are lucky enough we'll get half-bugged shadows with mildly low indoor fps. If we aren't, the local Fire department will have a very busy day.

Yes probably me to.. cant keep track of the time anymore. I followed this thread closely in the beginning, seeing though there was null feedback from nvidia i decided to play other games, just checking back sporadically to see the news.. not much news though.. I dont like to just nag and bitch in general but I cant think any way this could be more badly handled.

CDP: I can assure you that we are working on fix for shadows issue. It should be available soon (way before you will go back to work /smile2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':))' />.

Let's hope they will come with the fix quickly. It took already too much time.
I have kept my game on patch 1.2 due to the shadows issue mentioned here. Last weekend I have finished my first playthrough and have not encountered many issues. Actually the game runs well in 3D on my PC except for the few indoor areas. In part 3, even in the dungeons, no problems at all with frame drops. I'm using 3D TVPlay and a Samsung LE40C750 running the game on 1920*1080,24 hz. I have only a moderate GPU (GTX 460). For me this game is nr 1 in 3D experience. I also want to remark that the cut scenes are really beautiful in 3D.
The inns are not too bad because you only have to talk to a few characters.
The bad part of the game is in the beginning when you have to escape the prison. This was practically unplayable for me due to the huge frame drops. Still I would encourage you to get past the first part and enjoy the game instead of waiting for a fix forever. I would estimate that more than 90% of the game is very well playable in 3D.

Lol, ecpect it to trake a month or two longer with no further words from the developer. They aren't exactly community friendly thus far.

Surprisingly, I actually got a response from their tech support folks on this today.
Unsurprisingly, there was no real useful information in it, other than acknowledgement of the issue. But I'll take it.
With any luck, they won't break performance when they fix the shadows.

Sorry for replaying after such a long time and thank you for all the info. We are aware of the 3D Vision shadows issue and working on fixing it. We had quite a lot of reports of this issue and we wanted to thank for the heads-up :).
Yep, it i s an improvement that they actually are answering, but it isn't one we should care abou as they should have been answering from day one.

Flash's most recent post in the topic linked above looks pretty sweet. I don't want to get my hopes too high, though. Just because they've got it in the patch right now doesn't mean it will survive the testing process. Still, I think I better step lively in VtM: Bloodlines.
