Okay GordyMeow, there's no need to be so condescending to him Link to Dictionary.
@conan48, I have found the fix after looking at the "log.log" file it showed "syntax error, unexpected *" I thought it was strange so looked at the copy & pasted info I put in the "injFX_Settings.h" file. Looking back on the forum on page 29 I found that Darkeyc has edited his post and missed off a simple "/" at the beginning of his line that says "below here". Therefore it should read;

That will get it working again conan48 and anyone else that was having a problem.

I'm running the FXAA plugin at last and there is more colour and vibrance with it but I've just noticed it is only coming out in the left eye. The right eye stays at the normal colours. Anyone else seeing this?

Has anyone tested GTX 680's and 3D Vision for Battlefield 3? Will the 680's pull 60 FPS? My two GTX 580's only get 40FPS...

No, NOTHING will get more than 40fps in this game. It is a limitation of the game engine.

I really don't believe that it's a limitation. How is it that it's possible to see 60fps in areas not too cluttered with debris? There must be a graphical setting that can be adjusted to gain more fps in busy areas. I'm (slowly) in the process of testing the game with different settings adjusted in Nvidia inspector to see if I can find that one little anomoly. I will keep you posted. (or not!)

I wonder if it's a Vram limitation. I run 1.5GB GTX 580's and it seems to use over 1400MB of vram on Ultra. Would 2GB or 4GB cards solve the issue? I hope DICE patches the game and fixes 3D performance.

Go back and look at my earlier posts in this thread - the game is not limited by CPU speed, GPU speed (either core or memory), RAM speed, and the scene easily fit within VRAM. It is absolutely a limitation of the game in areas with large view distances. There is even a guy with a 590GTX who sets everything to LOW settings and still gets capped at 40fps in these areas. In 2D is it exactly 80FPS in these areas (i.e. exactly double 40fps). I wish you luck but I don't have high hopes.

I think that if you do a .cfg file with the best command settings for ur case the game is great in 3D Vision, you just have to set the convergence, seperation, convergencezoom settings that suits you best. If you think about it, Metro 2033 is a 3D Vision game and looks great but you cannot even set the convergence as you please so I prefer it like BF3.
The game engine cap exists in 3D and in 2D so it has nothing to do with beeing 3D Vision ready. If anything we can complain about the framerate beeing capped in big maps. But beacause 80 Fps is great for 2D but not for 3D (40Fps for each eye) I wished DICE would fix this, of course.
Cheers

@conan48, I have found the fix after looking at the "log.log" file it showed "syntax error, unexpected *" I thought it was strange so looked at the copy & pasted info I put in the "injFX_Settings.h" file. Looking back on the forum on page 29 I found that Darkeyc has edited his post and missed off a simple "/" at the beginning of his line that says "below here". Therefore it should read;
