Well kind of. For international orders they only accept payment by direct bank transfer and they then add a sizeable surcharge for "processing" a transfer (on top of whatever your own bank may charge you). Even if you have a credit card from a major American company like Mastercard or Visa and want the glasses shipped to your credit card billing address they still won't accept it (presumably because contact with our filthy foreign hands somehow corrupts the pure American plastic ). By the time you've added postage and the possibility of being stung by customs for an additional percentage of the total price so far (including the ridiculous surcharge), you're looking at paying at the very least 150% of the RRP (or, to put it another way, more than three times the cost of a pair of almost identical glasses from E-Dimensional). Not exactly a great deal.
Cheers,
DD

Just be patient.

That's probably the best thing at the moment.

Patience is great if we were talking weeks between the launch in the US and the rest of the world but we aren't. I could understand this if NV made a habit of delaying launches depending on geographical location but they don't.

This really is poor NV.
Haha if you're just as impatient as me, do the same as me:

I just ordered 3d Vision glasses via eBay. Brand new, incl. shipping costs to the Netherlands (within 2 days), $240 (Had to pay 187 euro)
The monitors are already available here in Holland. So I ordered one for 300 euro incl. shipping costs (within 2 weeks).
Costed me 487 euro, but hey, now I don't have to wait until May :)

When it arrives I will post a comparison between Zalman 22" 3d monitor and Samsung 2233RZ + 3d Vision Glasses.

(Edit: The monitor was 300 euro, not 400. Delivery will be in two weeks though, not 3 days)
The delivery times weren't that correct >.<
I just received the 3d Vision box a few minutes ago -.- (The box looks awesome!!)
The site where I bought the monitor shows "Delivery in 1 to 10 days" >.<
I want to test it!!!

So is it really there in Germany's Media Markt now?

There is no 3D vision in Austria's Media Markts and I'd hate to make a trip to Germany, just to see it isn't there either.

thanks

Bought mine yesterday in Mediamarkt Germany. I was hopping that they where running a test display, but they didn't, so I bought it without testing.

I'm happy with the samsung display. I had the pauses in the shutterglasses which where already described in the forum here, but after charging the glasses they did no longer appear.

One thing I don't understand is why nvidia offers an extra download for a medusa 3d demo, when this demo runs under Dx10 and shows absolutely no stereo separation

I didn't have more time to do more tests, but until now I'm happy with my acquisition.

I wouldn´t buy the 3D Vision at Media Markt... you can get the glasses for 150-160€ and the monitor for 330-350€ in the Internet (German Stores)
I bought mine at Media Markt too but I will try to make use of the "lowest price in the city" offer. You have to find a shop in the same city that sells the glasses cheaper and u can get it from Media Markt for the same price. If everything works fine today I will get 60€ back because I found the glasses 40€ cheaper and the monitor 20€.

Well I picked mine up last Saturday, over all... whilst I was very impressed with the display at the CES show in Las Vegas I am not so happy now, the monitor is so so (I went down from a BenQ FP241W), it's not as clear as my old BenQ (I can 'see' more lines) and am actually considering switching back to the 24" screen in the not too distant future.

As far as the 3D goes, I played a little WoW and L4D over the week.. when I say a little I mean I played with the 3d enabled for maybe 30 minutes but played the games for hours (I started to get a headache when playing with S3D, add to that the need for a dark room and it makes things a little difficult).

All in all I am sad to say that I am not that impressed (I used the drivers on the 1.07 cd).

Time to perhaps see if I should see about selling it :o, that's bad considering I really REALLY wanted this (I will give Grid and Fallout 3 a go, you never know it may get better).

** Edit **

Actually, I may just use the monitor\glasses on my non gaming rig and only play with them when the drivers get better.

Man, that really sucks for you :S
Do you have any experience with other 3d solutions?
I hope you will change your mind, cause it's a lot of money :o

I just ordered the monitor somewhere else (a shop that should be able to deliver it tomorrow already /smile2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':))' />
