Yeah personally I've already accepted that I may have to wait a little while longer..
But that's okay ! Plenty of other good 3d content to enjoy in the meantime :)
If someone DOES get it working, well, they will probably recieve a nice paypal donation.!
I'm not sure if anyone else has already noticed this but it looks like if file 8 is the full left eye view, file 9 will be the right eye view (Only the differences between the left view and right view are stored, 50% size reduction). and then the 8.ssif file is the size of both of those files added together (some sort of checksum file? Not quite sure how this makes it smaller but I'm guessing it is something to do with crosslinking the files and hence when you rip the disc it comes in at 72gb.
I expect that is nothing new to people but I only got it today so have just started looking at it.

days ago I created a topic in videohelp.com forum about this "issue", and yesterday a user sended me a PM saying that he could help. He told me that:
You should download TSMuxer, version 10 or above, open your local m2ts files, and tell me what it gives as informations on their content please.
I can't do it right now, i'm at work.... anyone could do that? install this program and see what we can find?

That's da fu...ng problem ... without an mvc-decoder u can't open this file!
The problem are no more the .ssif files (same content as 0004.m2ts), the problem is the right eye (2D-Delta) file 0005.m2ts (half sized to 0004.m2ts)!
0004.m2ts is the whole movie, no problem to load it with tsMuxeR, but 0005.m2ts you receive this: Some tracks not recognized. This tracks was ignored ....
The bottom line is ... nothing!
So we need one of this:
- Update for TotalMedia, PowerDVD or 3D Vision
- MVC Decoder
- AVC-MVC Codec

Yeah thanks to everyone who added to this thread, I started it to hopefully give us some insite in to a file format that didn't even get one hit on google so we've came a fair way to understanding it and as masterdid said once we have the codec we're good to go!
So got my M vs A ISO ready
Anyone any closer to getting this working ?
I've got the RAW 0004.ssif video file & 0004.m2ts video files to play in stereoscopic player & 3D Vision player from a mounted ISO with AnyDVD HD. Problem is I don't think it is reading the 0005.m2ts with it so it's displaying 2 x 0004.m2ts which isn't messing quite right. Perhaps a setting I need to change? Anyone well versed in this arena that could finish putting this puzzle together? I'm sooooo close!

I appreciate your comment, however if we can crack this, and it's down to only 1 file (0005.m2ts), then it saves all of us the extreme hassle and hours of time converting our movies. Furthermore we can play all future 3D Blu-Rays out of the box.
Doesn't that sound wonderful??? ;)
Again I restate that I AM ABLE TO PLAY THE RAW UNCONVERTED MOVIE 0004.ssif file!!! This is HUGE!!!
Who the hell wants to convert a video for 12 hours??? Not ME!

It does sound wonderful... however had you read through the post you would have seen that the maker of Stereoscopic Player had posted on there and said he was working on either a directshow filter or some other way to add support for the player.
