H5360+Xbox 360+3D Vision
Is it possible to have the Xbox 360's side-by-side 3D work with 3D Vision and Acer H5360?

So far the only way I've heard it working is by hooking the xbox to the computer and via a HDMI card and let the computer stream the games via a 3D video player. But I don't want to hook the 360 to my computer due to my family. Is there another method? Maybe through the H5360's DLP 3D mode and the RS232 port?

Nope, not unless you get a 3D-XL, Monoprice 2D to 3D HDTV/DLP Converter, 3D-VIP or 3D-Displayer. I think the Monoprice converter will fulfill your needs and it's the least expensive of the bunch. You'll need to use DLP Link glasses, though.

I have both the AverMedia Dark Crystal HDMI capture card and the H727 card (that is only available from China, Ebay via China seller or Australia), plus I have a 3D-VIP. The Avermedia cards + their software are 3D Vision compatible, which is great IMHO. I later ended up buying the PC equivalent games (Avatar, Fallout3, Skyrim, H.A.W.X. 2) as they look much better on the PC as opposed to playing the X360 through the capture card (I was using a Optoma GT720 projector at the time. I now have a Acer 3D monitor). BTW, the Dark Crystal card does not have 2D to 3D built in; The H727 does. The Dark Crystal card is not 3D by default as you have to download the 3D driver/software from Avermedia's website that can be found under the H727 card. Either card is pretty cool. When DishNetwork was testing side-by-side 3D on a channel that is no longer shown in America, it worked just fine with these cards. So, if you have Comcast or DirecTV, you can watch those 3D programs using these capture cards. With the H727, you can use the 2D to 3D converter and it's pretty good! Not everything looks good in 3D but still.
