Just Cause 2 (SLI CUDA WATER)
  2 / 2
Well,

if anyones interested at all -

i fixed it, i had to disable my 8800GTX (physx card) in device manager. and SLI cuda worked fine. - enabling cuda water dropped my fps significantly, i get around 45-50fps with 4xAA, where i was getting 50-60fps (vsync'd) with 16Q

However, the 257.15 drivers screwed up my physx peformance all together, when re-enabling the card (as i have done many times before) physx wouldnt work on it.

I expect i will have to run driver sweep to remedy that.

Just to let you guys know I have the same problem, SLI 480s and a 470 for independent physx.

The only way to get it to work I have to go into the nvidia control panel and switch to single card mode.

I am sure this method is un acceptable.

Nvidia please add a fix into your next driver updates, for Just Cause 2 is a SLI and CUDA show piece so you would think you would want to have it working.

Thanks

i got SLI to work with cuda.

just cause 2 doesnt like dedicated physx cards apparently! disable your 470 in device manager and cuda will work with your SLI config.
