Two 3d vision kits with defect or i missed something?
Hello,
I had only 1 3d vision kit and it was working well, onde day the glasses just doesn't got dark anymore.
I've tested drivers with other versions, tried a new instalation of windows 7, tried windows vista,
tested in another pc, charged the glasses over 10 hours, nothing.
The glasses turn on the led in red and then turn green for 5 seconds and off, but no signal on the lens.
So i thought it was a glass problem and ordered another kit, this one has no warranty anymore.
The new one doesn't work too... not even turn on the led, i've charged over 6 hous,
also tried with the cable plugged and all the another tests i did with the another kit.
Maybe i bought a defective kit or i am doing something wrong?

hi, Can you post some speca about your Monitor?? maybe you are running the wrong HZ in your Monitor??

ok, my monitor is a Samsung Syncmaster 2233, is running in 120hz, also tried 110hz and 100hz,
thanks.
Have you tried pressing Ctrl+T when launching a 3D application? Sometimes my glasses fail to activate until I manually activate them. You can also try to enable/disable nVidia 3D vision from the Start menu (Start->All Programs->NVIDIA Corporation->3D Vision->Enable/Disable 3D Vision). After enabling 3D Vision, try running the 3D test application found in the nVidia control panel. Also try updating to the latest drivers with 3D Vision. You can get the latest Beta drivers from HERE. When installing the new drivers, I recommend checking the "Perform Clean Install" option just in case. This will uninstall the previous drivers and erase any unneeded leftovers from earlier versions.

Intel i5 2500K @ 4.5GHz
Asus P8P67 PRO
Corsair XMS3 DDR3 8GB
nVidia GTX 660 SLI + nVidia 3D Vision
Asus Xonar Essence ST with AKG K601/Sennheiser HD 595
Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD + 5TB HDD Storage
Corsair AX 850 PSU
Coolermaster HAF 932 Case
Now i just tried the CTRL + T and also enable/disable nVidia 3D vision from the Start menu, tried 285 beta drivers too.
Didn't work,
when i press the power button of the glasses it wasn't to turn on the led? to show at least how the battery is?
one glasses turn red an then green for 5 sec. the another just doesn't show nothing, i've tested the battery with the
multimeter and it has more than 3.7v.
Yeah I'd be more inclined to think its a problem with the IR emitter. Chances of 2 bunk glasses is pretty small but a lot can go wrong with the IR emitter from both hardware and software side of things. As Cheezeman asked, is there a dim green light when 3D Vision off? Bright green light when 3D is supposed to kick on? Can you try a different USB port maybe? Also, check your device manager and make sure the 'Nvidia Stereoscopic 3D USB Controller' is installed and functioning properly under USB Controllers. If none of that works, do as Joohan said and try a 'Perform Clean Install' of the latest 285.27 Beta drivers to see if that fixes any problem with a driver installation.

Yes, it is, also shows the depth amount control when I scroll his wheel, the same happens with the another IR emitter,
tried a fresh windows installation and another usb port too.
when i run the 3d set up program, i just need to push the power button when asked or i need
to do something more? at this step the glasses doens't sync.
wireless devices can't interference with the IR emitter right? (i will test for sure)
I had the same problem when I bought the device. The problem seemingly was the 3d vision drivers on the setup wizard must be installed in the first instance you ant just install the latest drivers and expect it to pick up ur 3d glasses. Try this. Uninstall all 3d vision drivers. In your 3G vision booklet your told to download an initial wizard. In the wizard is 3 or 4 steps including installing the initial 3d vision driver. Follow each step chronologically. Restart your computer and run the 3d wizard and see if it works

Can you do a system restore back to a few weeks ago (whenever the setup was working) just to see if something happened with drivers or your system? I recommend trying to do this. Do you have another computer you can hook your monitor up to? I would also recommend that as my next suggestion would be to do a clean install of windows if none of the tips advised have worked for you
