I have purchased the 3D "Cloudy with chance of Meatballs" to play on my new gaming PC. I have a Blu-Ray burner, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275, two 120Hz monitors (primary: ACER GD235hz - second:ViewSonic VX2265wm). All running on Windows 7 on an AMD Phenom II clocked at 3.40GHz. I purchased the second (ACER) monitor because I read that the ViewSonic was not capable of 3D movie, only 3D games. I have various players at my disposal; The very latest Cyberlink PowerDVD 10, VLC Regardless, the issue is that the movie will not allow me to view in 3D. The movie starts, then prompts for 2 or 3D then says that that it requires a 3D TV and player to view this movie. I have also tried to play the movie on the NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player but all attempts to view the movie will not initiate the 3D Glasses emitter. I have used the test diags, played games and it all works great but I was hoping to have a 3D experience on my PC... sofar, no luck

My GTX 275 on Quad core will not play 3D BluRay (Both on Acer projector and Acer 24" Monitor which work with 3D games)
- I've tried it all and it just doesn’t work, the best it will do is play at half speed so that the sound gets out of synch, and after about 30 seconds it skips to catch up with the sounds... its rubbish

Btw you say you tried NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player, 3DBR how ??

Make sure you have the Ultra 3D version of PowerDVD 10. PowerDVD 10 has 3 versions, and only the Ultra 3D version supports Blu-ray 3D playback. The other versions, deluxe and standard, don't.

You can change "convergence"=horisontal parallax but the 3d-depth is fixed in movies.
