Hi,
I am currently running into an issue with the 3D Vision Pros glasses and nView clone mode.
We have a number of applications that we have been using for years and they work perfectly fine with our NuVision Glasses. We decided we would try them out with the 3D Vision Pro glasses to see how well they worked.
What we are currently seeing is that the 3D vision Pro glasses are not being activated. We have the current set-up
Quadro 5000
Dual piped highlite 660 projector.
Windows 7 x64
Sync from projector
If we run any 3D App the nvidia glasses do not activate but the NuVision ones do.
We are unsure why this is but we are assuming it something to do with the projector and machine sync settings being different.
if anyone has any ideas please let me know and I will give it ago.

I'm not certain, but I do believe that you need the accessory G-Sync board.
Like this example of one for one of the Quadro models.

Try the App from here. (using QuadBuffering).
Is written in OpenGL and working with standard 3D Vision.

If that works then the other apps are not properly set. If the app doesn't work then your setup is missing something ?!?!?!

1x Palit RTX 2080Ti Pro Gaming OC(watercooled and overclocked to hell)
3x 3D Vision Ready Asus VG278HE monitors (5760x1080).
Intel i9 9900K (overclocked to 5.3 and watercooled ofc).
Asus Maximus XI Hero Mobo.
16 GB Team Group T-Force Dark Pro DDR4 @ 3600.
Lots of Disks:
- Raid 0 - 256GB Sandisk Extreme SSD.
- Raid 0 - WD Black - 2TB.
- SanDisk SSD PLUS 480 GB.
- Intel 760p 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.
Creative Sound Blaster Z.
Windows 10 x64 Pro.
etc
g-sync card wouldn't stop it from working, it just makes sure there is no issues with sync across all devices.
halifax, that doesn't work either none of the applications I have tested work with the Nvidia setup but work fine when configured with NuVision.
I missed the part where you mentioned that your were synching off of the projector. Nvidia's emitter is not a standalone device, it doesn't have firmware loaded. It must be connected via a USB on the PC and also to the mini vesa port on the Quadro.
For Consumer connection only the USB connection is required, except for Mitsubishi DLP TVs which also require the vesa sync cable be connected to the TV or checkerboard converter/adapter..
On Pro connections, it's the same. Except for the high end Professional projectors supported only on the Quadro side, also require that the vesa sync cable be used and connected to the quadro.
Normally the problem is that people are using 3DTV Play via a HDMI 1.4 compliant connection, in which case Nvidia disables the emitter since the display manufacturers glasses must be used. Nvidia only has shutter glass timing profiles for 3D Vision Certified Displays.

We are using the 3D Vision Pro connected to the sync on the projector and plugged into the USB port on the PC.
The PC is running a quadro, stereo is enabled with nView Clone using external sync mode in the drivers.
The projector (Highlite 660 3D) takes two DVI connectors and is enabled for Duel Pipe.
This setup should work but doesn't. I have contacted Nvidia Customer services but have now been waiting weeks for them to get back to me. This setup is even recommended on the Vision Professional site too.
