3DTV Play Install failed
Hi guys, This was the first time I tried to install 3DTV Play using “ NVIDIA 3DTV Play Activation Utility “ and I ran into a problem. The installer checks my system, I agree with the terms and it starts the installation. At aprox. 75% is stops and says “ Install failed “ because I already have version 266.7 installed (but I didn't Install it prior to this occasion). Print screen: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByFkBxVTJgUNVFRrV2oxYnpBM1U/view?usp=sharing I click on Close and it opens up a popup with the trial version and serial options. It doesn’t matter what I chose, after the popup closes nothing happens. Other info: - If I open up the NVIDIA Control panel I don’t see the 3DTV Play options. - I have an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 850M. - I have a compatible LG 3D Smart TV. - 3DTV Play doesn’t appear it the add/remove programs so I cannot uninstall it. I tried: - Manually removing the 3DTV related files that I could find using windows search. - I updated my NVIDIA driver. - I created another user (administrator) and tried to install 3DTV Play. Non of this helped, 3DTV Play fails to install. Please help me I would really like to fix this problem. How could I uninstall 3DTV Play without re-installing Windows? Thanks

The 3DTV Play does not install any stereoscopic drivers, it just installs a temporary product key to unlock the feature. My guess would be that you do not have the 3D Vision drivers installed. They are included with the main driver packages available for download but are often not installed by laptop manufacturers. Also, 3DTV Play only works via HDMI connections and the display must be HDMI 1.4 compliant. The HDMI output also must be routed out of the Nvidia GPU and not the other one.
