Try unplugging the display from it's power source for a few minutes, this will reset the G-Sync module. Sometimes G-Sync will hang up and cause the symptom that you describe. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the drivers using DDU in safe mode. (Display Driver Uninstaller)

Make sure your monitor is running at 120Hz when you are trying to play in 3D. With GZDoom (Doom source port) I made the mistake of not checking that once, and it was enabling 3D at 144Hz. No monitor strobing and massive ghosting between eyes, to the point where I though 3D was broken. Games should force 120Hz when 3D is enabled, but your monitor can change the refresh rate through hardware buttons, I think.

Yep what these guys said. I get this issue when either. 1. The display is not running at 120hz 2. The gsync module is glitched. (I actually wish at this point my monitors didn't even have it.) Remove power source for a few seconds.
never heard of it, that G-Sync screens "crashes"...
It doesn't crash, it just doesn't shut off/down properly. I'm with necropants, I wish my monitor didn't have it. I never use it and if it goes out completely, it will be a substantial repair cost for something I do not use. But the only options for 2560x1440 3D Vision monitors had it included.

Yes and mine sometimes tries to turn itself on in certain situations, and since 3dvision and Gsync are not compatible it causes issues. Wish it could be completely disabled somehow.
