@Schwing. I know it's a 3D game (and also exclusive to the 2 consoles)... Do you know for a fact that it can also be enjoyed in 3D (stereoscopic), or is it rendered just in the flat 2D? I've asked Mr G. Oogle and he doesn't seem to be aware that the game can be experienced in 3D (stereoscopic).

I waited 17 years to play the first Devil May Cry and 8 years for Bayonetta. Waiting for the rumored PC port in 2019 is nothing compared to that :).

I got it on PS4, it's damn fuckin flat, I don't know if I Will play it till the end in 2D. But for sure it will be a master piece when it comes in 3D vision in a year or two... :( Damn you Sony and your money for exclusivity to sell your shitty PS4

Thank you @chtiblue for the clarification! Phew, I don't need to buy a console.

I own a console, but definitely waiting for PC release. you only get one chance to explore a new open world for the first time...I'm not wasting that on 2D. Also makes 2 huge PC titles to look forward to, Cyberpunk and read dead.. gonna be a long wait tho..

Shouldn't they port the first game to PC and then the second?
Shouldn't they port the first game to PC and then the second?
Actually this game is a prequel so technically it makes more sense for them to release this one on pc first. Pretty odd choice of name because of this imo.

The shooting system in Revolver was great, far better than Redemption.

Well at least it looks like it will eventually be coming to PC... https://www.techradar.com/news/red-dead-redemption-2-for-pc-companion-app-drops-a-hint Here's to hoping that we can eventually play this masterpiece in 3D!

This wiki page shows a timeline for their RAGE engine. It was last used in GTA V, but I'd expect way more than the fix for that game to be needed. There doesn't seem to be any info online for whether they're using DirectX 12, which I believe 3DM doesn't support based on a forum search.

I had to sell my PS4 pro 2 days after trying to play RDR 2 in 2D, clearly not possible or even thinkable!!! Such a waste all those people playing in 2D without knowing what is the real and only revolution in game industry aka stereo 3Dvision...

Far Cry in 3D might fill a bit of that void. It has animals to hunt and you shoot things.
