Anyone else notice a huge improvement in the lighting in flotsam forest, which in turn makes my system crawl. I've also noticed an increased number of foliage in the forest and a lack of previously obvious foliage pop-in. Of course this could be the result of the much heavier DOF and bloom being used after the EE. Maybe I am imagining, I don't have any forest shots prior to the patch, but if anyone has any I could make new ones at the respected areas, so we could compare. If visuals are the same, there is no justification for the massive fps drop, but I think I see an improvement. The game is not 3D, the left and right image is the same (also when you press CTRL+T the greens letters of nvidia profile dont show)....first I thought the game was OpenGL, but looking in steam game characteristics is says is "Directx", so definitely the game is not 3D.
I play it for about 20 minutes, is good and fun... and some parts a little crazy.

TY dhr, I hate it when that happens. Lots of point and clicks are like that where it looks like it could work and doesnt. I am thinking about getting Walking Dead though there is a high chance it will A. Be bad or B. The above.

I spent around an hour trying though and ran into issues. You can scale the size of the crosshair so its less of an issue though its still a big issue. Most of the game is built around that crosshair so thats a big minus in my book.

how did you stop everything from being all black/white flashy?
the game has a very high value of convergence (default), you have to lower the convergence in order to play with 100% depth.
3D issues:
- Text menu at screen depth (i think they can be fix)
- Some object render in only left eye (i think can be removed)
- the "crosshair" is at screen depth (i think they can be fix)
- The sun is close, need to push back (i think they can be fix)
- Some other minor problem that can be removed
- Wrong depth in Text dialog (1-2-3-4 option) when other person ask you something and you have to response.
i think the game is fixable (good rated at least) by helix dll.
i play 10 minutes and the game look good.

yes probably drivers, well i'm not in a hurry to play Binary domain right now, a lot of games to finish yet.
i am using the 301.24 because it increased a lot the performance for a lot of games especially for the 560 ti sli. and also allowed me to enable FXAA for some games what improved even more the fps. so for now i'll keep'em xD.
But about Risen i hope to see a fix soon =D it is not a "Great" game but i've played Risen 1 and enjoyed the overall experience, Risen 2 looks like even better and i just can't waste that experience in 2D lol.
