More than 120hz? possible?
Hey, is it possible to run in 3d at higher than 120hz on a CRT? I'd rather use 160 or 180 if I can - my monitor does support it, and 60 hz with the glasses on kinda makes you a walking target in multiplayer.

Or are the glasses physically limited to 60 hz?

Ok, nobody else tried, so I ran at 960x600 at 140/160/180/200hz. Nothing happened - the game reported the higher refresh rate, but my monitor reported 120hz still. Looks like 3d vision has an override inside the driver to prevent higher than 120 hz.

240 hz would really be perfect- we'd get a lot less mouse lag from vsync at that point, and 120 hz glasses would completely remove the flickering.

Simple Solution 101? DO NOT USE CRT's. They are NOTORIOUSLY bad to give the worst perceived flicker and ghosting out of any solution - be it 120hz TFT panels, 85hz + projectors (which give great results) or 100hz DLP TV's (not as good as 85hz DLP's as they run checkboard typically). If you are using a CRT as a 3d solution, you simply CANNOT possibly have tried the alternatives or you wouldnt even have the thing sat on your desk, believe me. If in any doubt get yourself over to the stereo3d webboards or MTBS3D where you will find a TON of information on the best solutions, and also a very, very strong argument that active stereo projection yields by far the best results (trust me, I've spent thousands on stereoscopic 3d technologies the last 2 years and have seen it all ;)
