3D "call of Duty black ops" very disappointing! Doesn't work worth a crap on my asus
I took delivery of a Asus G53 gaming notebook. I read reviews on "Call Of Duty Black Ops" played in 3D, and its nothing even close to any good. First off, optimal settings give me a narrower screen. Things are crunched in and taller, leaving 2 black strips on either side of the display. When it comes to 3D, the screen is so dark, you can barely see it. Everythiong is shaded in w/ blocky black pixels. Game looks double/triple vision even w/glasses on. There is barely any 3D effect, basically you can't even play in 3D. Here are my build stats: GeForce 460M w/1.5gb GDDR5, I7-740QM 1.73-2.93ghz, 12 GB DDR3/1333 memory, OCZ Vertex 2 120gb sata2 sandforce SSD, blueray/8X super multi dvd.

Do you have any problems with your DLP? Overscan or anything?

None whatsoever.
Best yet: No ghosting on DLP.

Have a look at this video in 3D and see if you have the same issues you have when playing the game. I strongly suggest a projector as I have a 3DTV but there is no ghosting what so ever on the Projector.
