So no one posting 3D vision pictures?
Here you go.
It is completely fucked up... ;)
CM to the rescue:)
the last resort... :D But I am still fighting against random crashes of the game. ;) So overall it can wait for me.
Tried launching it with 3Dmigoto but it crashes. It does launch with "allow_create_device=1" but hunting isn't working. Any ideas?
Here's the d3d11_log:

I have read a lot of post about the buggy state of the game as well as the videos posted on it. If anything, It makes me want to play Mafia 2 again with my better hardware and crank the settings to the max. I was really hoping this would turn out better. :(

Asus ROG Swift PG278Q | 3D Vision 2
yep, another few patches for bugs, lights, textures and optimisation and it should be another great Mafia game with great gunfights and solid story ;)
Can't wait to play it then in glorious 3D :)

Mafia 2 was truly a great game, I guess nobody has come with a solution for the locked (low)convergence..
I know it can be unlocked but it breaks the shadows completely :/

Hey Blacksmith56, use the follow if you want (rename from a .jps to .zip since it is a zip archive. This is by no means a fix but I did disable a couple of vertex shaders back in the day and I've included a DX9Settings.ini file which can allow you to switch between two convergence with a simple key stroke. One for cut scenes and other in game on foot or driving. The game still looks great to me with the three removed vertex shaders. Not a fix but I played through the entire game and was happy about the ability to adjust convergence to my liking. I used the "0" key in this case but as I'm sure you aware, this can be changed in the ini file. Note that the convergence is high since I play on a 120 Inch screen and both convergence can be set by adjusting and hitting F7 to save.
I just played about a half hour to check things are still working and no problem. I don't need to use to the included 3D_Unlocker.bat file and I'm not sure if the d3d9.dll requires the unlocker. I included just in case. You may already know how to do this but for those that don't (if it's not working for you with just the dll), simply run the 3D_Unlocker.bat file before you launch the game. Load a game and wait until in the game world and alt tab out and hit enter in the 3D_Unlocker.bat window to re-enable 3D Vision. Voila, convergence unlocked.
I forgot about this game until now and while testing the game before uploading the attached, I realized how much I love this game. I will make my my third play through and last time I used the remove DOF mod and First person mod. I'm sure there are some new mods but you can get them here if you want. The First Person is a little glitchy but I liked the new perspective through Vito's eyes.

Thanks for sharing :)
Unforunatelly it didn't work for me, with the fix applied I had to hard reset my PC :/
The reason is the d3d9.dll, I have tried to replace it but it's a no go.
I tried with a 64 bit version and now the game runs but I'm unsure if it kicks in ??
Convergence is unlocked though..
It looks like this..
