Thanks Helifax for testing. Is a bug related to single GPU in this drivers.
Also bo3b tested disabling SLI, and the bug is there.
I try changing some setting in nvidia control panel, but the bug is always there.
Also if i record or take a screenshoot, the video or the picture looks ok, not bug in the media.
Hope nvidia fix this stuff....this drivers have great performance....i'm using this driver with this bug, due this increase in performance. Gameplay is OK, so no big deal.

The only game that I found which is completely un-playable with the 355.82 driver is Dragon Age: Inquisition :(
Made more tests and while 355.60 works with DA:I (Single GPU) it works only when my Laptop is plugged in the socket. The moment I am running on batter (and Battery Boost is enabled in GFE) I get the same "one eye lag".
Fortunately, I 350.12 driver solves this issue, but it lacks in some optimizations (though not for this game).

Can confirm this too! Last driver has fixed the laggy eye effect present in the previous 2 versions of the driver.
However people report 50% FPS loss with this driver... I haven't tested extensively so have no idea.
Is this the case?

Hi guys
I saw a thread was opened about the last driver issued and it seems full of hope. Would you consider this to be 100% 3D Vision proof with good performance level?
If the testing is conclusive I suggest bob3b or anyone able and willing update this thread first post to keep it the reference for us 3d gamers. It would be great if we could make it sticky as I struggle everytime to find it back.
Also this is a more personal question : I refused to upgrade my drivers to avoid compatibility mode issues. I have tons of Nvidia user profiles preset to optimal settings (in-game settings / convergence) and I fear I could not import them anymore with Nvidia inspector in newest drivers since compatibility mode introduced new fields...I would like to avoid having to cycle through all my games to redo the optimisation by hand. Can anyone shed some light on this to help me cope with the upgrade process ? [s]Also is there a single field I can check under each profile to make sure compatibility mode is disabled for all games ?[/s] Just found it in the compatibility mode sticky thread (Setting ID_0x709adada = ........... InternalSettingFlag=V0, must erase InternalSettingFlag=V0 part right?). thank you!
Thanks again for this great community!

Yes if you do this:
InternalSettingFlag=V0, must erase InternalSettingFlag=V0 part right?
Then CM will not be picked up;))
What I suggest is to export your profiles with the NVIDIA SLI Profiler tool (posted in the same thread) from your current drivers and keep it safe.
Upgrade to new drivers. Export the profiles again.
Use Beyond Compare to select both files and update the new profiles (from new drivers txt to your profiles.txt file)
Then import your Profiles.txt using the same tool;)
Takes a bit of time but you have control over what goes inside the driver;))

Hello guys,
As you may know I did not update my drivers for 2 years since I didn't want to deal with compatibility mode at all. But since I just purchased GTA V on steam sale, I have no more choice and thanks to helifax I had a good plan to migrate all my previous profiles...I tried to explore the most common threads about helix mods but I did not find any that could address my issue. please refer me to a relevant thread if it already exists.
So yesterday I Installed Nvidia latest drivers, (ie 359.0 - my detailed config is in my sig). I went through the 3d setup crash bug already reported by bo3b (even when sli is not enabled) but after rebooting 3d was active and everything looked fine. I did not try to import my profiles right away since I wanted to do some testing first and check that old games were working (especially the ones with compatibility mode). I tested 2 and both of them had issues :
-Bioshock Infinite (Compatibility mode forced off through ctrl+alt+f11 acknowledged in the bottom right NVIDIA comments windows, latest 3d fix available reinstalled) : a lot of shaders are broken right from the start (menu sequence in the street, lighting/reflections on the street for instance are quite obvious).
-AC IV Black Flag (reassigned exe to AC II profile as usual, reinstalled mod, no compatibility mode) : this time i had to play to notice broken shaders but any level would appear obviously broken.
So first of all do you notice the same issues on your end ? Are the latest drivers known to disrupt (block?) the wrappers since it looks like both helix and 3dmigoto wrappers are affected ? Is there a way to fix this (like installing dlls from newer packages) ? If not what would be the best recent driver to use to avoid this (I would like to be able to play GTA V without breaking older games or having to switch drivers all the time if possible) ?
Thanks again for your great work at supporting this commmunity!
EDIT - So in the end 359.0 is a really crappy driver for my config at least! Even GTA V was a total mess! A lot of shaders/lighting/reflections not working properly even in 2D!!
Looking at GTA thread I noticed bo3b signature and our dear pirate recommendations...I ended up installing 355.82 and it was great..GTA V was almost perfect and older games with helix mod patchs were perfectly working. I was able to import my previous profiles without any issue (I finally used Nvidia Inspector since it worked very nicely).

358.87, I can confirm, has issues with running two or more displays with different refresh rates.
Running my VG278HE at 120/144Hz will cause Netflix or WMC playback to flicker on my 2nd display that's only 60hz capable. If I set my VG278HE to 60Hz, 2nd screen runs as normal.
Driver feedback thread suggests that this is also occurring on 358.91.
W7 64 980ti
EDIT: when using 353.06, the launch driver for 980ti, Tomb Raider would crash as soon as I enabled 3D. I upgraded to 358.50 as suggested via a PM to Blacksmith 56 and Tomb Raider was fine.

I had zero issues with 359.91. Everything seems to be working perfectly fine. No problems in the fix disabling or the likes.
The only problem I see is related to one game SW: BF where I get very very poor performance in 3D Surround compared to Win7 version of the driver.

I guess you meant 358.91...this driver is as bad as 359.0 for my setup (ie 660ti sli on win7 64). But Since i had a lot of crashes in gta v with 355.82 (don't know if it's due to me messing up with in game graphics to try to improve fps...couldn't restore a stable state even by clean-reinstalling the same driver), I tried 358.50 and it seems to work fine with all my games and no more gta v crashes for now! (Stopped messing up with ingame settings though, benchmark fps didn't seem to improve anyway so back to default set...fps in 30-60 range depending on benchmark scenes- feels OK)

See below some info related to the severe screen tearing issue introduced in recent drivers for SLI Maxwells
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/918291/3d-vision/screen-tearing-and-disorientation-in-3d-vision-regardless-of-vsync-settings-sli-/post/4833620/#4833620
I have not yet pinpointed which driver family causes the horrible screen tearing, so that Bo3b can make a mention of it in the first post.
The stupid thing is that even if I took the time to do that , it would be somewhat irrelevant, since older drivers do not allow many newish (2015) games to run at all in 3D. I can confirm 361.91 has the issue.
TLDR from the link:
"Fallout 4 does not seem to work on any driver older than 358.91. On this driver there is no tearing yet.
But of course I cannot play Rise of the Tomb Raider with the Helifax fix"

I have not yet pinpointed which driver family causes the horrible screen tearing, so that Bo3b can make a mention of it in the first post.
The stupid thing is that even if I took the time to do that , it would be somewhat irrelevant, since older drivers do not allow many newish (2015) games to run at all in 3D. I can confirm 361.91 has the issue.
TLDR from the link:
"Fallout 4 does not seem to work on any driver older than 358.91. On this driver there is no tearing yet.
But of course I cannot play Rise of the Tomb Raider with the Helifax fix"
