Mass Effect: Andromeda - 3D Vision Fix (3D Vision Partial-fix released)
21 / 27
Hey Heli, can you try the following:
I could get completely rid of the loading problems (Win10). NO ALT+ENTER or realod needed anymore.
I Set the prerendered frames in the overall 3D-Settings in the control panel to 1.
I have double checked this. Setting it to application controlled, the game will load the main menue sometimes wrong and you have also to go with turn of 3D, load a game in window mode, fullscreen, realod... as you discriped. Setting the prerendered frames to 1 will cure all this together, even a reflection problem that ocures laving the andromeda @ the very first beginning.
//EDIT1: I could also solve the problem of my screenshots with the shadow/light and one exe square rendering. Will do some more testing and provide that version. THis is WITHOUT a stupid declaration and so without a perfomance loss. This is realy fixed.

It seems you are correct!
Setting it to 1 as the GLOBAL value (not for the game profile) Seems to fix it!
It's strange, because this was one of the things I tried initially, BUT I set it on the GAME'S Profile and NOT the global profile! It seems to work only on the GLOBAL profile ;)
Awesome find!

Hey Helifax, honestly, the work you have done with this is quite spectacular. I haven't really played to much of the game, maybe the first couple hours. Thank you very much for all the work you have put into this.
I found it interesting that you keep mentioning the pains of CS in relation to frostbite with both MEA and Battlefield 1. I thought it worth doing some googling. I came across a post on the frostbite site mentioning 4K Checkerboard (not 3d in this case) specifically implemented in these 2 games.
As I browsed this almost 200 page powerpoint they put together, it seems to me that this is a new method of supersampling that they developed for the PS4 pro (or the PS4 pro has the ability to do this, not sure which). Since I know how much game devs love to port things, and I do know that MEA has res scaling support on the pc, I thought you may be interested in reading about what they implemented in these 2 games.
I am not sure if it will shed any light on what the issue is but I thought it was worth a look and maybe you have already seen this. If so, sorry for the long post.... It is related to CS specifically and 4K Checkerboard supersampling (least in my limited knowledge anyway). They do give some code examples as well.

Thanks again for all the effort you put into keeping 3D alive for us!

I have fixed 2 more square shaders/shadows, just need some time for testing it but actually only some issues (next to the popin lights) left for me.
Will provide some screenshots tomorrow and need some sabillity tests until I will provide it.
I have also made some SFX adjustments, so you have 3 options to conbine for best lightening
including SFX. more soooooooon.....

Finally back home for a bit...
@helifax/@Losti, can you please confirm which OS and driver version you are currently using for this glorious fix? Just eliminating potential questions in the near future ;-)
Next week my wife's outta town, so in to the cave :-)
