ezman if you read my first post you will see that i know how its working for me,
its how you guys get it workin with 3d vision kit that im not sure of.

tried ps3 pes2010 , during gameplay cant really notice 3d, but the cut scenes
and replays are gorgeous, i cant stop replaying the replays after scoring,
from different angles.

nb i still havent heard back from my supplier about returning the crapply
constructed optoma glasses which one of the arms broke on after 3 days just from
taking the things on and off, ive had them 12 days now, does anyone know where
i stand with this issue in the uk? regarding online sales

So you're playing Wipeout HD and Motorstorm in 3D on your Playstation 3 ?

Games which require patches that have not been released...
And which are jalously guarded by Sony until official release sometime this summer, when the Sony Bravia 3DTV will be out...
And when they are released which will only support hdmi1.4 3DTVs, which your projector does not support...

Is that right ?

its as if the ps3 is decoding some of the 3d data from games automatically
i seem to see 3 layers starting from zero parallax (no popout) showing hud
or similar, then behind this i see players/vehicles, and sometimes items i get close to
ie walls stairrail in 3d, then finally at the back i see everything else as its normal 2d image
all to varying amounts depending on the game

surely someone else is seeing this with expand or similar universal shutter glasses, if
none of you guys are with nvid?

You think playing ps3 with unreleased patches in 3d is cool?

I got an alpha version of a ps4, with resident evil 6. It's a first person MMORPG, although currently the servers are totally empty except for me. It's actually in 4d, too! You can feel what your character in the game feels! For some reason, I'm starting to enjoy throwing myself from cliffs and letting untextured zombies tear me apart.

Having a tv above my monitor, playing a game in 3d and having a film up top, when i look at the film through the glasses some moving scenes can look 3d. Perhaps this is what you are experiencing? just tried modern warfare 2 which shows up some 3d fx very well, particularly
explosions sparks etc , also tried mx vs atv demo which bought out the depth
between player and rest of the scene.

my gripe is the contrast ratio drop using shutter glasses, having tried a twin
pj setup using reald polarised glasses, i found the contrast ratio drop to be far less
significant, unfortunately however its not an option with current consoles but
for next gen we can but hope consumer demand will lead them into incorporating
a twin graphics output maybe via a pluginable extra gpu accessory, which would also
be good for upgrading the gpu 2 years into the product lifecycle, as look how behind
the times the gpu's are in current consoles.

im using optoma dw318 3d ready pj (sony did say ps3 3d would be compatable with
3d ready viewing devices, not just their own tvs) and optoma zd101 shutter glasses,
while the pj is excellent , i would thoroughly discourage anyone from buying the glasses
they are so badly constructed mine fell apart after 2 days and im still waiting to hear the
outcome from my supplier, who i will take to small claims court if needs be (see previous
posts with pics) also the viewsonic 3d glasses are exactly the same model so also avoid.

the other problem with universal shutter glasses (mine n xpandsx102's) is getting the drivers
to work , while the iz3d beta shutter glass or iz3d ati 3d dlp ones seem ok the ddd ones arent compatable
nor the nvidia which is shocking considering im using an nvidia card. has anyone noticed
how nvidia have omitted 120 hz settings in their drivers for the last year of all the resolutions
which correspond to available 120hz lcd screens, as if to persuade you to get 3dvision glasses
for driver support for your screen. Add to this their charging of companies to get product
3d vision certified, and their failure of working drivers for expensive new product they release
and you start to wonder why should i be faithfull to this company!
