BF2 Special Forces SOLVED!
Hi Guys!

I solved the Special Forces Drunken Sailor problem.

You probably won't even need more than a GB of RAM.

1. Do not use the Forceware driver to set your AA, Anisotropic, etc. Make everything application dependent.

2. Set all your video settings in the game itself.

3. MOST IMPORTANT. TURN THE LASERSIGHT OFF. I know it's supposed to only cut down about 10FPS, but for Special Forces, it does a LOT more. I think there is an incompatbility somewhere. Why it doesn't interfere with vanilla BF2, I don't know.

THe good news is with the convergence adjustment, you can get your BF2 cross-hair bang-on without losing the 3d effect. Just keep hitting CTRL-F5.

With my 6800GS PCIE, I have all the game settings maxed out and it runs smooth in Stereo. I might be able to do a touch better if I OC my card, but I think it's unnecessary. I also have 2X antialiasing - and I can probably up it.
