Sharp XV-Z17000 1080p 3D DLP projector

I've ordered this projector but am still confused about what the best screen will be. I kind of need it to be auto-retractable so fixed screens aren't really an option. It will be ceiling mounted. Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

I also have a NEC215, And an Optoma HD66 that I was using for 3D gaming.

But why limit myself to 1280x720 for movies when the Sharp gives me the best of both worlds.

I can play Games at 1280x720 120hz 3D
Watch Bluray movies and Full HD TV
Watch 3D Bluray movies as well.

The Number of 3D Bluray movies on the market is growing fast lately. From memory I have about 19 3D Bluray movies.

Not to mention the contrast ratio on this thing craps all over the older generation 1280x800 DLP Chips.

no one is saying you should limit anything. If you have the $$ to burn to watch those blue rays in 3d good for you. I do have the $$ but im still holding out for the real deal HD gaming projector- as i could really care very little about movies. to each there own bud! and enjoy it!

Can you comment on the black level of the Sharp with 2D compared to the JVC models such as the RS40. Do you find that the 2D image is good in regard to black level and shadow detail?
Thanks

Hi, could you elaborate on the brightness of Sharp XV-Z17000 versus JVC X3? I'm torn between the two projector brand/models..
