3D Fix Manager - Application for installing 3D Vision Fixes + Hotkey Editing Support
  40 / 60
What a work Paul :) 3DFix manager is so perfect for me i don't know what to suggest you to add :) . Are you working on a means to an Automatic sheet addition when a shaderhacker adds a fix for a game ?
Adding new profiles manually does not take much time any more due to several API calls. So I rather check if all information are correctly inserted into the profile instead of correcting things all the time. Also there are some settings which are hard to automate - for example when the text says: "disable Depth of Field in game settings" or "set xy in driver profile" - this is hardly to be automated. Also if there are several different download links it's hard to detect which one is for the latest version or which one is a 3D fix at all. Also some issues are only detected if trying out the 3D fix personally - especially in case of older fixes. So I think trying to automate everything will reduce quality of the application. I mark profiles with a green info icon if installation is just done with one click - and everything works fine then. Otherwise I mark them with a yellow icon which means that the user should care attention and move the mouse cursor above this icon to display a tooltip with more information what to do manually. A red icon generally means that the 3D fix is broken. There are just too much 3D fixes out there to test - so still a work in progress. Currently 70 games are tagged and 850 profiles are available in 3D Fix Manager. No icon means I just added the 3D fix and tried to add everything to the fix profile I could according to the info text but did not install the game or tried the 3D fix. So still a lot to do xD.

impressive :) and congratulations. i just can't imagine the number of hours you spent on this project :) it's a pleasure now for me to have 3Dfix manager installed. i just have to install a game from my Steam Library or Uplay library. 3Dfix detects it, using the nice fixes from our beloved Helixmod team :D what a comford and shame on me, i'm so lazy with French translation lol. i'll try to continue this week end. :)

Sorry for not reading the notes properly Paul, too much beer and football :-) New caching option is brilliant, I was probably a worst case scenario as I have about 7 TB of games across multiple disks. Now the app loads in seconds, thanks :-)

Hehe :). I'm currently working on further improving startup speed. Bottlenecks seemed to be too many Regex and HDD calls. Windows Registry search and Search Paths should work faster now. Also cache feature should be even faster now as HDD calls were removed. You can try the WIP here if you like: http://fixmanager.rentus.de/downloads/fix_manager_1.43_Faster_V2.zip

This tool is becoming more and more incredible. Thank you Paul for your great commitment to simplifying our 3D experience. And also thank you to all the shaderhakers, active or dormant, who keep donating your time and passion. There are so many games being fixed nowadays compared to years ago, that Paul's fix manager is now almost indispensable. Thank you guys! This community is the best!

You are welcome! 3D Fix Manager starts to feel pretty complete now with hotkey editing support for OpenGL Wrapper added finally ;D. I tested hotkey functionality with Minecraft and Doom. When testing Doom I realized that the current version of OpenGL Wrapper is actually 7.19 and not 6.12 which has further hotkey features (even 3 hotkey types supported instead of two). I wasn't aware of this till now. Helifax did an amazing job writing that wrapper.

Paul, can you take a look at Ghostbusters: The Video game? Fans are unanimous in calling that the "real" Ghostbusters 3, but the 3D (even with Helixmod and the , . trick is weird). I'm running via HDMI so 720P and 60hz, also using 4XSGSSAA but that makes no difference to the problem below. On an Asus Maximus X Apex, 16gb 3200C14 and EXOC 1080Ti. Framerates vary from 120fps+ down to 24fps. Like in the rough descent level or stay puft missions it's most obvious but it's pretty much on all missions. I've written Nvidia about it but no luck. Maybe you can do what they can't.
