Thought i'd throw this out there as a warning to others, I purchased a 3d vision kit, found immediately upon opening it that the glasses were scratched, quite badly one one lens despite the packaging being fine and sealed. The store I purchased it from won't refund it saying it's physical damage and i need to contact nvidia directly, and nvidia's support won't do anything even though I reported it the day i received them and my receipt is dated due to it being physicaly damage as well, despite it obviously having happened in the factory due to the box being mint :( looks like i'm out 150$ for nothing, seems like it'll definitely be the last nvidia product i ever buy

I will get in trouble for suggesting this but things like this make me mad. Buy it from a legit retailer like amazon.com and return the broken glasses back. No reason you should have to pay for that. I had a loose usb connector in my emitter and it was literally bouncing around inside it when I got it(broken). I returned it to amazon next day no questions asked.
Its kind of dumb they won't take a broken pair back since prob like 90% of returns are people who buy them thinking its compatible with their tvs.

Yeah it sounds like an unfortunate situation, I'd like to know what store that is so I know not to shop there. More reason to shop from reputable stores though as eqzitara stated. For big online purchases I play it safe, direct from Newegg, Ebay, Dell, and even TigerDirect. For big box stores, stick to Best Buy and Micro Center (Frys too if you have them) and you should be fine.

Sorry about that. I will buy nvidia products just never ever ever from Nvidia. On dec 21 my wife bought 2 3d vision glasses mistake and you can NOT cancel your order. We never opened them.. sent them right back as per the way NVIDIA told us with UPS tracking showing they got it. Yet refund? They dont know..no lie. We had to call our credit card to get our money back. So yeah AMAZON or the like ..never ever buy from NVIDIA.

nvidia is just a little slow getting to things sometimes, so it's no big deal. It's not like people's money is involved or anything...
Maybe you can buff the scratch out with a clean, soft cloth. <---- I had to offer that up so I don't get yelled at. /tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I'm in canada, it was from a chain called memoryexpress which is pretty much the second biggest retailer up here you can get it from, since they're not sold at any of the major chains (bestbuy, amazon etc) up here =/. very frustrating since I seal with a lot of computer hardware (work as an it consultant) and i've never hit another manufacturer that refused to rma for physical damage when it was reported in the first month, let alone the first day.
