That's what I did. My question is are these side by side, interlaced, etc. It plays full screen just with no stereo effect.

I'm pretty sure they're side by side.

Got it to work. My player was out-of-date. Nice stereo effect, but a little grainy.

I think the quality of the still camera itself is pretty good.

As a video player? It's fine for mucking around with 3d, but it's VERY grainy, and it hates light.

Also, I'm yet to work out how to get real popout without the images ghosting a lot. I'm sure someone can work it out.

I think you'll find that there'll be a two lens video camera pretty soon, and then we'll see all sorts of stuff.

If you want very high quality 3D stills - this is a great camera. But remember this is the FIRST. There'll be more and SOON, and cheaper.

Web surfing this camera for info and came across this little gem. If i understand it right, it says there are ways to set the shot for max pop-out ("There are four ways to generate a controlled 3-D effect using Pulfrich
glasses.") I think the concept of setting the shot should still hold up....................

I have the fuji 3d cam also. I think the stills are good and the video is not so good. 640x480 really isnt much resolution for video and on top of that, the compression they use is horrible. You end up with a blocky video. It does work though, and you get a good sense of what a scene is like in 3d with the videos. I really wish it was a little higher resolution and much better quality compression. You do need a lot of light for the video to work.

It is a unique product with zero competition, so it is a big step for the industry. The competition really is twin "stereo data maker" setups.

Whats a trip is, if you use one to film a 3d movie in theaters with the glasses over it, you can pickup the 3D back at home with your 3D Vision glasses, although horrible video quality the 3D effects work surprisingly good. It just goes to show you of whats to come....

(I'm not suggesting people film movies, this was just an experiment)

Here is a video of me using the glasses over the fujifilm camera,
Try touching the glasses when they are in front of you. it feels so real,
This camera is awesome!
