3D Vision Pro System Requirements quad buffered openGL on windows 7?
Good day,

I am an XPx64 OS user still, mainly because I have been using quad buffered OpenGL shuttering with 3D Vision. I stayed with XPx64 patiently awaiting support for regular 3D vision in vista/7. Now that 3D vision pro has been released, I see that it is now supported on XP, vista, 7, and Linux 32 or 64 bit. I own the regular 3D vision package. In order to update my operating system, it seems I will now also have to fork out more to get "3D vision pro"?

This can't be right.

To do this under Windows 7 you'll need to replace your Geforce with a Quadro graphics card. The pro model of glasses is really just an RF version with some gyro meters i think. You certainly don't need them additionally to get quad-buffering.

I have a QuadroFx 3700 and already am using quad buffered stereo with XPx64. I guess I missed when the drivers for my card started supporting quad buffering on Vista and 7. I should have included my system specs in the first post sorry about that. Now i guess the next step is to make sure all of my software supports the upgrade.
