How do you go about getting a game officially 3D tested
That's the question mostly. I was playing Killing Floor on Steam and I thought.... what the heck, I'll try it in 3D. It did work but I thought kinda poorly (keep in mind I'm still learning how to get each individual game looking good so I may not be the best source to judge)but it defiantly tried to work. I was wondering how to submit this so somebody far better at this then myself could officially test and mess with the game/settings and add eventually get it added to the list of supported games.

The site MTBS3D has a wealth of info about 3D and games. I notice Killing Floor got a Platinum so your input would be very helpful!
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

The best thing to do is find out who the producer of the game is. Then spam google with a whole bunch of rhetoric about how the producer is "Anti-3D". Get his name out there as someone who is against moving forward in technology. Then make sure he sees that. This way when he needs to apply for another job and they google his name. They will see that he had/has an "anti-3d" stance. Try to get him to publicly comment on his stance in 3D on any type of gaming forum.
The trick is to try and back these developers into some kind of corner so they have no choice but to make their title 3D ready. Name smearing seems to do the trick. Another way is to contact the gaming companies investor relation branch and pretend you're interested in investing in their company. Ask them if they are moving forward with 3D ready technology. Then when they say no, end the call and say thanks for your time but I CAN'T TAKE THAT RISK.
There is a lot of things you can do, DIRTY things.
.........
Of course you can always ask nicely if they would, but let's face it these big boys don't give two craps about us, so like them you have to play a bit dirty.

Having been involved with game development on and off for 20+ years, I can tell you name smearing will get you no where.
If the guy is a producer on a major title, he works with enough people that have worked with enough people, that anyone hiring will get feedback through friends not Google. It's an extraordinarily insular industry.
And I have yet to see any top level management mandate a game feature, I have seen high level management dictate the use of specific technology (usually a library or an engine) those usually come with exemptions for high profile titles and titles using existing technology, and they are usually disastrous to development.
The way to get good 3D support in a game is to have someone important on the team playing in 3D. If the developers don't consider it important, it'll get lost in the wash, and even if they make a cursory effort to implement it, it'll get broken as soon as they patch. It's one of the reasons I think NVidia should be sending out 3D kits to developers.
