I was just watching a video of that linked from a screenshot comparison thread thinking too bad its console only...
Looks amazing. I wonder if they'll up the textures using their originals from the texture artists, its likely that they'd have 4096x4096 available if they still have the content from their artists. Easy enough to convert especially with the help of programmers.

I wouldn't hold my breath for better textures, but at least we won't be playing it in sub-hd res (which was the case on the xbox360) and we are getting proper s-3d support. Still, having watched an interview regarding the pc release of the game, the guys at remedy seeme to have much more love for their pc fan base than bethesda, who knows....they might just have a surprise in store for us. After all I remember when Alan Wake was first announced, it was used to highlight the power of dual-core intel processors, maybe we'll get some awesome optimization in that department, unlike Skyrim :)

It was also at the top of everyone's list of "DX10 games to die for" meant to showcase how awesome DX10 was gonna be.....
I stopped caring about anything Alan Wake related 2-3 years ago when it went 360 exclusive with delays on top of it, will pick this up in the bargain bin for $5. Too many great games already from devs that consistently support 3D Vision. Playing through AC:Brotherhood finally....just an amazing series of games in S3D despite the minor shadowing issues.
