I tried playing a bit last night on the 1440p resolution but it doesn't work. By default Edid information, a custom resolution will send the TV 1440p image upscaled to 2160p, and 3D will not work. Any custom(1440p) resolution inserted with CRU or Nvidia control panel would not work. My TV says invalid Format. Perhaps the solution is elsewhere and not in the EDID. Tridef can do this internal software upscale. Maybe it is possible to do it with 3DMigoto? PS: A compromise solution is going widescreen (3840x1440), for better performance

So you fixed the issue with 3D line interlaced work only 4K 3840x2160 by resetting the HDMI port ? what settings caused the issue , did you find out ? I have LG G556C with Acer EDID and somehow I made it work on every resolution , but it stopped working. i'm using Reshade + superdepth with Line Interlaced with scaling . It always work in Windowed mode, but only works 4K in full screen. all the other resolution give blur and passive 3D doesn't work. Anyone know how to run it perfect ? I'm using GPU Scaling Aspect Ratio.eee . I don't know how I made it work accidentally only one time.

The profile from joker18 only shows a max rez of 1280/720 in the change rez area. Why is that?

If installed correctly it will show 3840x2160 as the max resolution, so reinstall it. Also try reinstalling Nvidia driver after unistalling it with Display Driver Uninstaller.

Ok, I had to restart my pc and now it shows lg tv with the proper rez. Do i have to acctivate 3d vision in the control pane because It only shows that 3dtv play and checkerboard to be the 3d options?. I have a 2016 LG 65 oledE6

You must be doing something wrong, read the thread I linked carefully and also read the stickied threads.
