So apparently a lot of graphical features were stripped out (compared to the PS4 version). What a total train-wreck.
Can anyone confirm/infirm if the game is using DX9 or DX11 please?:)
NEITHER.
.... Here, take a look at this: http://www.dsogaming.com/news/report-batman-arkham-knight-uses-directx-10-when-nvidia-gameworks-are-activated/
I mean, wuh???
Don't know what the thing is about DX10 I just dumped 34 500 shaders using my dx11 wrapper and none with my dx10 wrapper having all gameworks enabled.
106mb of shaders must be some kind of record. It might use dx10 sometime and even be able to run on dx9 but it clearly runs in dx11 during my brief test. After getting the game to even launch with a proxydll.

Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?

That doesn't sound encouraging for shader fixing. :(

What a train wreck!
I'm laughing (in disbelief) as i'm typing.
So Nvidia bundle their top GFX cards with a game that is capped at 30Hz, has no SLI profile and last but not least runs like a dog?
You couldn't make it up.
Not only that but nvidia have their name and so called 'gameworks' splash screens and settings plastered all over it which apparently makes the game run in direct x 10 mode when turned on???
The Play Station 4 gfx have better textures, looks and runs a lot better as well?
Nvidia can chalk this down as a massive fail!
Brilliant!

Definitely a modified unreal 3 engine running DX11 from Warner Brothers and eerily similar to another game that recently received a disaster launch. MK X also running a modified unreal 3 engine in dx 11 from WB

Wow! And that my friends is how Steam just completely changed the game with their new refund policy.
Does anyone seriously believe that they did not know it was a piece of shit on PC before releasing it?

Yup, they saw it coming and Gaben said, Fuck that we're not wearing that shit.
That's actually amazing... I have to admit although my performance was not as bad as some people I chose to speak with my wallet in the end and refunded. The first time I have ever done so in my 30+ years of gaming.
Game has indeed changed.
If they do eventually re-release and fix it I may buy again

Surprised at the move as well. Good. I guess I'll suspend my gameplay until the new version arrives.
We should also let them know to bring back full S3D support and continue that amazing mode in this game just as it was before because it seems they are fairly close, just need to make a few tweaks. I'll try posting on the official forum.
There's hope.

I've not got this game but I saw the screenshots people posted, and the game is far from a few tweaks away from decent S3D in my view. Given the absolute fuck up of this PC version and the work they clearly know they need to do (else they would not have suspended sales) I can't imagine they will spend even 1 millisecond on 3D implementation. Someone mentioned this was a UE3 engine game, and these have been fixed before by modders, so it may be salvageable, but it's a lost cause until/if they sort it out in the first place. I've still not finished ACity or started AOrigins yet, so I am in no hurry.
