I liked the preview... too bad I don't have the entire movie in 3d. I'd love to watch it even though I;'ve seen it allready in 3d.
Intel Core i9-9820x @ 3.30GHZ
32 gig Ram
2 EVGA RTX 2080 ti Gaming
3 X ASUS ROG SWIFT 27 144Hz G-SYNC Gaming 3D Monitor [PG278Q]
1 X ASUS VG278HE
Nvidia 3Dvision
Oculus Rift
HTC VIVE
Windows 10
The separation is too much for me. Any way to lower it with the player? The emitter depth wheel doesn't work with the stereo player.
There's a pixel separation option in the video settings but at standard it's 0px and it doesn't go lower.
Here's what I love about Stereoscopic movies. That 720p movie looks even better than a 2D 1080p video thanks to feeding you twice the amount of pixels and detail. And it's great to see a correctly done Hollywood movie (with ridiculously good pop-out and convergence levels) be fully supported by Nvidia's Stereo Player. This is bar none the best display of proper 3D I've seen yet with 3D Vision. It's a shame the movie itself doesn't suit me, but if the current trends continue, we'll soon have copious amounts of 3D movies catered to today's 18-35 market ready to be used with 3D Vision I'm sure.
All I can say is that when the Blu-Ray Association finally decides on a standard and the 3D films at long last start to see proper active shutter home releases (and become more numerous in theaters because of it), I'm crossing my fingers over Nvidia being being quick to incorporate it into the Stereoscopic Player with complete blu-ray support as well; don't forget it did cost $200, the least they could do is throw in a Blu-ray player once that standard hits. I have a horrible vision of all my friends enjoying their active-shutter-compatible latest movies and I'm up a creek because Nvidia made the thing proprietary >_< luckily the vision is weak for now :)

Yeah but at usual I get this option to choose from interlaced, right line first or side/by side, over/under etc. and I have NO CLUE at all as of what to pick.

aight.. viewing in over/under, left image top, produces nice 3D quality. And also in 16:9 format. However, I don't get any popout and instead I have some severe ghosting problems @ some scenes (ghosting is in my definiton when shadow apear as a darker/grayish glow around objects). What settings are you using?

AntiKrist, these are the right settings. I only get visible ghosting where the two red worms? appear on the video, otherwise it is Ok. Not that much pop-out, it is there, but the depth is much more apparent...

Too bad the actual content is infuriatingly horrid, but... it's 3d right? THREE DEE DAMNIT
A lot of popout in this one. Almost too much, maybe.
