Mass Effect 3 with Helifax patch not working?
Hi all, i'm new at 3D Vision gaming and i'm trying to get ME3 working with 3D Vision with no success. I've followed this instructions: http://helixmod.blogspot.com.es/2012/03/mass-effect-3-3d-vision-fix-update.html i've copied the required files, etc. but game does not starts in 3D. I can see the TV alert saying that 3D mode is enabled but then, in game image is not 3D at all. I'm using driver 337.88 on Windows 8.1 if it matters. Can anyone help me to get this working?? Many thanks in advance.

A lot of people have had problems with Windows 8.1 and 3d, and most find they're resolved by swapping to 7 or 8. Do other games work in 3d for you? Does Mass Effect 3 work without the helix patch?

@fidoboy: What does the game do when you remove the Helix fix? Does it show 3D (but broken effects)? It should still show in 3D. That will determine whether it's the fix, or something else.

He already said it only runs in 2d, regardless of the fix. Could you confirm 3d is enabled in the nvidia control panel? Also to correct you, this is the helix fix. helifax fixes openGL games. :)

You need to buy '3DTV Play', it cost $40. It's a stereoscopic middleware available from Nvidia for HDMI 1.4 compliant 3D HDTVS/Projectors There are a few games like Tomb Raider that have built in 3D Stereroscopic support. For the rest, (like Mass Effect 3) you need middleware.
