Advice on 3D projectors looking for help choosing between a few different 3D projectors

yeah, dmj, disolitude, lighthouse, I was wrong, looks like those projectors you listed all do frame sequential at 120Hz, but don't accept frame packed signals directly. The ps3 would be sending frame-packed 720px2 @ 60Hz. A converter box like you mention could chop this into 720p F S.

Hi dmj,

Out of interest, where were you planning on ordering one from? My regular supplier has had them listed as discontinued for the past three months at least and they are gone from the Acer Australia website.

just ordered (yesterday) from http://www.digitalcentre.com.au/ - I can't vouch for them (yet) but they say delivery should be in 10-14 days. I'll post back here once the unit has arrived

I'm using an Optoma HD66 for more than 1000 hours, working great, also, you can get the Optoma converter box so you will be able to use it in 3d with a PS3 or a blu ray 3d set top box without being limited by the Nvidia nvision kit or glasses.
