1280x768 doesn't work. It scales to an interlaced 1280x1024 or something. 1024x768 @ 120Hz actually works and seems fine in stereo or so I found out by accident, the driver will annoyingly put the warning about running at a non-supported 3d resolution on the screen though, even when it works fine :S

Hi,
What screen will be best for H5360 in 3d mode and Nvidia glasses on my nose? ;) I am thinking about 113†(250cm wide) Adeo Plano. The main question is: grey or white?

Grey, 0.8 gain = deeper blacks I assume.
White has 1,1 gain = to bright??
Please help.[/quote]
I recommend a nice Da-Lite or Stewart screen. You want to get a high gain screen.

I know what's the 3D mode is on the Acer projector.
If you want to use DLP-link glasses (that don't require an emitter at all), you have to turn on the 3D DLP mode on the Acer. Otherwise it won't output the dlp-link "white light" sync signal for the glasses. However it still works with 120Hz frame sequential signal, so I don't think there is any checkerboarding going on.
How do I know? I just got a pair of XpanD DLP-link glasses and at first I thought they didn't work. Turned on the 3D DLP mode on Acer and bingo :)
The glasses are far superior to Nvidia's glasses, the Nvidia glasses ghost in some shots whereas I haven't seen any ghosting with XpanD glasses.
By the way, has anyone used the Optoma HD66 in 3D? I'm thinking of switching if it doesn't have as much rainbow effect as the Acer does. I've gotten used to it, but it's still pretty annoying. For me it's way worse in eco mode than in normal mode :I

color shifting on the Acer with 260gtx sli or alone.
Batman is extreme in shifting, mw2 was good.

To solve my problem I just put my graphics card in the other motherboard slot made sure all drivers were removed before hand and then installed the newest drivers from the full cd from nvidias site, I hope you find a solution I know how frustrating it is.

Dirt 2 when I use my 5360 every time I hear a noise that makes the projector a bit 'strange crackles a bit, what will'...??? for me and 'refresh the top ... connected by DVI to HDMI 120 Hz, thanks

With the hdmi crackling thats the projectors speaker you can either go into menu and turn down the sound of the projector, or go into nvidia control panel and click change resolution then look for hdmi audio and disable it.
Had the projector running through my xbox 360 speakers a bit crappy.

Good to know that XpanD DLP link glasses also work with acer. But I guess nvidia does not support XpanD glasses. What drivers did you use? Did Xpand glasses came with some drivers? If it works then it will be another option.
I have used Optoma HD66 but ended up returning it because of lack of driver support from nvidia. I did not notice any rainbow effect but I was not satisfied with the colors produced by HD66. The colors look washed out and look different from the original color. I compared side by side with the colors of my Philips TV and colors look way better on the TV. I guess that can be attributed to the low contrast ratio of the projector compared to the TV. But overall it was not that bad.

The screen you use has just as much to do with color representation as the projector. What type of screen were/are you using?

Why would you need drivers for XpanD glasses? I'm using Nvidia standard stereo drivers, can't really remember what version. They actually don't detect my projector at all, but I don't let it bother me ;) I just manually set my stereoscopic settings to 1280x720@120Hz and swap the screen from the Viewsonic Fuzhion to my Acer projector.
Nvidia drivers output the vsync signal to my projector, which in turn gives the signal to XpanD glasses via DLP-link. If you had the normal XpanD glasses, you would also need the XpanD emitter connected.
