I'd like help in watching 'normal' dvds in 3D. I own a Toshiba X770-107 with nvidia 3d vision kit 2. I have the nvidia 3d player. When I put in a DVD, for example Family Guy Season 10 it doesn't work too well. It's like the field of depth is 200% and the images overlap each other. Hard to explain. What are the optimal settings? I've got ' side by side, right side first' and 'swap left/right' on.
When I use the Toshiba 3D player it works straight away, albeit the 3D is quite shallow and doesn't add anything to the viewing experience really. (or I don't know how to increase the 3d effect) Can every single film on DVD be played in 3D?
Basically a noobs guide to this player would be nice :) As, annoyingly, it's not as simple as playing games in 3D.
EDIT: Also, how do I get GTA 2 to play in 3D. Nvidia says it's "excellent" yet I can't seem to play it in 3D :S

You are aware that there are no 3D DVD's (other than the old style red-cyan type), only Blu-ray films are in stereoscopic 3D. Or are you trying to watch some 2D to 3D conversion type of stuff? Never watched any of those myself, but what I've read and heard, the conversions are mostly rather terrible. As for the GTA 2, I'm not sure but I guess it's a DX 8 or DX 7 game and the modern stereoscopic 3D vision only supports DX9 and later DX versions, so you might need some old nVidia drivers in order to play it (if it's possible at all anymore that is).

It's more like you should be aware that there are 3D DVDs, that were released in Frame Sequential.
