The more I look at this, I am pretty sure, that this game with Checkerboard on has the red and blue colors reversed. Even the steam overlay stuff is opposite color. So weird..... Tried everything that I can think of..

Well I wouldn't say no to that, more than willing to try whatever you put together for it! Interestingly enough, with the 1st version of your fix for TB and SBS. When you fired up the game in 1080p Checkerboard, the colors would be reversed. All you had to do to fix it was change the res to something like 720p in game (made a post about it earlier in this thread). The colors would be correct again, then switch it back to 1080p, everything was fine.
Maybe it had something to do with your fullscreen.hlsl file. I am no expert by any means. But with that in place, when you switched the game into 720p, the game would be in 720p in the upper left part of the screen, while the rest of the resolution was black, and colors would be correct. Hope that makes sense.

- I replaced some files with the latest 3DMigoto, except the ini.
- I added the lines in the ini file

The method you used is obsolete.
DarkStarSword updated 3Dmigoto so you should you the version posted in page 9 post 132.
Doesn't matter if your TV does not support chekerboard.
When you use the last update don't forget to turn on 3D otherwise it won't cycle trough.

By turning on 3D, you are reffering to ctrl+T or something else? The game already starts in 3D I guess because checkerboard kicks in immediatly..

If you want to use SBS or TB your TV, projector... checkerboard does not matter. It is just the means to an end.
@Baserunner - if you used my method with the latest release it will not work.
You should follow latest instruction post 132.
Ok but it's impossible to have the projector display 1080p @60hz in my case :(.
If i'm right you must use Checkerboard format in NVIDIA panel, is it that?
In my case i only have 24hz @ 1080 in 3D :(.
Still confused :(.
Yes you must setup 3dTV play to output Chekerboard but you will not actually use it so the Projector doesn't have to support Chekerboard.
When you switch to SBS or TB you don't output checkerboard anymore.

Okay so, for Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag:
- I enable checkerboard in nVidia Control Panel
- I copy all the files from the latest 3DMigoto into the game directory
- I edit the ini file and uncomment the run = CustomShader3DVision2SBS line (do I still need the files from Helixmod?)
Is it possible for you to attach a zip file with all the files from AC4? This way I can check if it works and see what I might do wrong or something, I'm sure I've tried several different approaches.

Does your TV support Pixel Mode ? If so you reverse the eye pattern and can use HDMI checkerboard.
I have tried using EDID with no luck. If I'm not mistaken, HDMI checkerboard is supposed to work only on passive 3D TVs?
Mine is active.
I got this to work on my samsung 3D Tv, but the result were worse than 3D TV Play. You have to change your input name to PC DVI, even if it is using HDMI.. then the option becomes available on your TV 3d menu. then you have to wear your glasses upside down. But at least it is running at 60hz.
