has anyone tried the 3D fix up on helix mod?
http://helixmod.blogspot.ca/2014/12/dragon-age-inquisition-3dmigoto-dx11-3d.html
---
it looks so intimidating because of all the instructions.
have things changed since?
I just bought the game and installing it now.
I have i7 4770k and gtx 770 x2 sli.
do I need to follow all those steps to play in 1080p 3d?

ROFL.... No all the steps there are just to intimidate people like you so you go away....
No offence, but what do you think ? ^_^

lmao. relax helifax. sorry I submitted that post with copy/paste and it didn't include my questions lol.
#1) I want to know if I upgrade to 980 ti -- I won't be able to play Da;i with the 3D vision fix because I won't be able to roll back to older drivers with that card. Is that correct?
question #2) So currently I have gtx 770 x2 sli -- if I want to play this game and retain performance on other games (like tw3) I should just copy the contents of the "DR" folder, roll back, then copy/paste the contents and overwrite them in the "DR" folder. Is that basically it?
I'm going to try it with the 353.06 and maybe by some crazy luck it'll work with current drivers :P

Its working for me with the 353 driver and Sli980 (in fact i fixed another issue just last night using this driver) without having to use the Bf3 profile, so you may as well try it out.
also is the flugan wrapper necessary if I downloaded 3d migoto? not much instructions about that
Flugan wrapper, as with other games, is primarilly for win8.1 users so not necessary unless you are on win 8.1.
It works well, I played DA:I through with MSI 770 OC in SLI , but dont remember the drivers tho, 347 something maybe...... At start had those gray fogs in caves but that fixed itself somehow....
Performance wise, SLI 770 is enough, rest assured.
And if you dont like many steps, then meditate, take yourself a 20 minute break and just apply them, step after another :)
Nothing else cant go wrong and if you run into issues, im 100% sure those are already answered either here or on google :)
cheers

Hehehe:)) Now that makes more sense;)) The initial post was just half it seems;))
So.. Basically it is working on latest drivers just fine;))
Most of the instructions there might still help (settings wise) but in the end you can experiment around those guide lines and find out what is working best for you;))

wow. I don't know what the heck I did.
I meditated, relaxed, and followed the steps very carefully.
now I can't run DA;I at all. I click Launcher, the game launches (in border half window) remains black and just hangs there.
wtf?
I was really excited to hear it works with latest drivers.
what should I do?
pardon my ignorance. It surprises even me sometimes.
okay. I got the game running.
but now there are very frequenet crashes to desktop
and the 3D looks somewhat broken; when the character moves there's blurr in the air and shadows are off.
I think I might have to reinstall the game and try again? or do I not need to reinstall?

Disable compatibility mode for starters;)) (CTRL+F11) You should also enabled advanced settings in NVPANEL -> 3D Vision for this to work:)

I can't even try that because now whenever I turn on 3D it crashes the game. Have you heard of this problem before?
I just tried it now with 3D off and got into the game, turned it on and straight CTD

so I found out it was related to SLI. I disabled SLI I am still getting crashes but not as often and the 3D works.
However there are still these issues.
--
#1) the text is squished together and looks like its missing letters. It's hard to read character dialogue/choices. Any way to fix that?
#2) When the character moves (walking, combat, etc) there is some sort of blurr around them which is annoying.
3) whenever I move the camera some of the shadows move around as well and it looks unnatural and I doubt thats whats supposed to happen.
---
if I can fix the above, the game will be very playable in 3D and with only one 770. SLI disabled I am getting 40FPS with only one GTX 770 card (2gb) -- that's impressive optimization.
please answer the above questions as im curious
thank you!
