In two games now, Dxtory's "limit video fps" function has totally eliminated major input lag. Deus Ex went from almost unplayable to nil. If you have input lag in a game, try downloading this and setting it to limit frames to 58. Dxtory is like a Fraps alternative and supposedly much more efficient.
EDIT: Ok, i guess you can force off vsync and basically accomplish the same thing. I had tried that yesterday with no effect, but maybe i just didn't save it properly, who knows. Thus keep this tool in mind if forcing it off doesn't work.

I haven't tried yet (at work) but would this fix AC2's 30FPS/60FPS limit?
Thanks

Maybe if Vsync was forced on somehow in that game? I recall hearing claims that people could not force vsync off before, but i can't remember it ever happening to me. But for games like Thief 3, if you apply the FoV fixes, you have to leave vsync on, otherwise the lockpicking system won't work and you can't climb ladder for some reason. This definitely helps there. I'd give the "force off" a shot first tho.
