Hey Guys,
I was wondering if there is a best of video driver's for a 1080 GTX GPU and 3D vision.... I was looking through some older threads but was wondering which 4xx.xx series where the best for 3D vision Performance and a 1080GTX w/ win 10 1803..
I seen someone post the 411.70 series where good for 3D vision??

In my opinion, 395.31, because they can make 3D work in DX11 games in borderless windowed mode (in most cases). Good for alt+tabbing when I want to edit shaders :).

There must be something else going on here. I have never been able to get borderless windowed mode working in Dx11 regardless of driver.

Kaimasta got it working too with that driver version, after a clean install. That's with a different GPU and monitor than me, so the requirements aren't strict.

I have borderless window. With 416.34 and 2080 ti. I just tried with final fantasy xv. Obviously anecdotal. But it’s proof that it’s borderless is not just broken now.
I generally don’t think you’d notice much of a difference in anything as regards to performance. There have been youtubers who have compared in non 3D games. I tend to just stick with a driver I’m happy with until a game needs it... (like fallout 4 did). Due to 3D rprofiles etc. possible performance changes (negatively)
Or just listen to masterotaku and use that driver...

If you use HDR also i sudgest to stay on 388.71. for me it has 10% difference compared to newer drivers.
Without HDR enables it is more or less at the same FPS.
