Have the "Vr Glasses" died ? or Is there Still Hope ? a hopefully request to NVIDIA
Virtual Reality Glasses, is there still Hope?
First i like to thank Nvidia for their 3D vision. I am addicted to it.
Great work guys. keep it going.
hi, i am a 3d enthusiast.
i am working in the 3d cgi buseness and i love games. It s a real passion. I am dreaming since 14 years
of a real virtual reality experience in games. Since The Lawnmower Man.
I love nvidias 3D vision. Its a very cool experience.
It feeded my Hunger for more 3D. I want more. :D
But i am still waiting for the more sophisticated Vr experience.
Real Vr googles, where every eye gets his own image input.
Imagine Playing Unreal Tournament 3 or other games,
like you are in the middle of the action.
Imagine, bullets flying around you, enemies behind you. U feel the Tension.
I am waiting so long. there is almost no developement in the Vr market,
except the Shutter Glass technology.
The last greater news was that vizux released video glasses that are able
to create 1 image per eye monitor ( 2 images ) with stereo drivers.
Sadly the monitor resolution is limited to 640 pixels,
which reduces the experience a lot.
the inbuilt head tracking is very vulnerable to bad calibration and jitters sometimes,
as some people experienced.
I have the feeling that Vr glasses died? I dont know why.
The 3d Game market is growing and growing.
Movie makers understand that they have to include new technologies like 3D
( in upcoming movies like AVATAR )
to motivate the audience to go to the theater instead of buying a dvd for their own home theater.
So if the 3d market grows, games become bigger and more and more costly,
movie market is adapting to 3d, why are there
still no real good Virtual Reality Glass solutions for the consumer?
Doesnt the Consumer want this? i dont hink so. Many of my friends would love to get some.
NVIDIA we need you
we dont only want to play the game, we want to feel the game.
