So free-to-play fps Planetside 2 is now out and I got excited because I read this "...for those with 3D systems, Planetside 2 will launch with full NVIDIA 3D Vision support".

Well it doesnt, I'm used to this. :D I got newest beta driver GeForce 310.61 and it says Planetside 2 is Not Recommered. I still tried the game with high & low settings and here is the problems:
1. Double crosshair. I didnt find setting where to disable it and use 3D Vision's laser sight. I dont know yet if crosshair serves another important purpose than taking a sight, like in Oblivion it chances when you can take something and with laser sight it doesnt show anything.
2. Shadows and shaders are wrong (only drawn for one eye?). Settings doesnt have 'disable' function, just low, medium and high.
But there is this one important thing that works already! Player icons and vechile icons are at their correct distance. I was surpriced and maybe this game will eventually be 3D Ready.
I havent played much yet so there may be more problems or solutions. Anyway its free-to-play massive fps. Give it a try.
btw, european players (who wasnt in beta, I wasnt) may still have problem with signing in. "Wrong password etc." Make new account in www.soe.com and put your location to "United States".
I dont know how paying stuff (real money) will work so use that only for testing.

Just noticed that when I increase depth the sky shows wrong.
Even without 3D Vision this is pretty good game. "Hard" to learn since you dont know what to do or where to go, everything is new. After watching tutorial videos the game starts to open and I just had epic battle somewhere on the massive map with 50 other allies.
Battles are MASSIVE with hundreds of players on the same map on the 3 different factions. Game is getting better now when players starts to learn what to do.

So no fix for this game? That's too bad :( Really wanted to try it but like most of us here I suspect, I just can't run in 2D anymore... feels so dead.
