I also had a problem with the newest driver at first. It froze my screen just after booting into Windows. I recovered my Windows from a year old backup and now it's fine after installing 344.11 driver.
In my experience, it's always good to have a separate Windows for games only. Something in you configuration is causing this - this is not driver's fault probably.
If reinstalling the driver (ticking "clean install") doesn't help, I suggest you read the official 344.11 release thread. Perhaps someone had a similar problem.

Actually i dont understand one thing, i asked about it but nobody did answer. For example, any driver after 332 breaks shadows and lights in the world of wacraft (it is really unplayable) so i have to use old drivers to play it. So, if I buy a new card i WILL HAVE TO install new driver which implies impossibility to play WoW usind 3D Vision.

I don't think the later drivers fundamentally changed how the 3D Automatic works, so if shadows broke, it's most likely that they damaged the profile for the game.
Maybe try to save the profile from earlier driver, and reapply it to a newer driver to see if that's related. Game profile can definitely break or fix stuff like this.
Please let us know if you try that, and whether it works or not. I'd be keen to get a new card too, but I'll be damned if I'm going to run a bad driver to do it.
