Do you find the glasses comfortable?
  1 / 2
I'm just curious more than anything, i find them a little too wide as the arms kind of sit on the very top of my ears, they just manage to stay on. I know they designed them in such a way so that people who wore glasses could keep them on while wearing these, which works a treat according to my mate who wears normal glasses.

It says on the box that they are fully customizable, but the only thing you can change is the nose piece :(

They are better than the cardboard anaglyphic ones though!

I find they hurt my head behind the ears after about half an hour, and wearing them with my head phones is a no go.. Other than that they are quite comfortable :).

Hmm, I've never had a problem with them. I changed the nosepiece to the tiny one so they sit on "top" of the bridge of my nose. I can still glance down at my keyboard when I need to. I find them quite comfortable and game with them for hours. You could try putting a couple pieces of tape or something in the joint so they don't open quite as far, so they squeeze your head better. Other than that, one size is supposed to fit all.

guess im bigheaded like poster2, because they pinch my head behind my ears and hurt after a while. i take breaks every half hour or so at least from 3d gaming... not so much because of any sort of eyestrain, but because my head hurts from the damn glasses. And yeah, if you have any sort of on/over ear headphones, having them on along with the glasses will just make it push that much harder into your head. I really wish they would have designed them to have adjustable length and be a bit more flexible, like the arms or whatever being able to flex outwards a bit and have them not be thick plastic and stiff on the part that goes behind your ears. Thin metal arms with soft rubber , slightly-bendable, tips (like most regular glasses) would be much better. I think it'd be sweet if the lenses were bigger and rims thinner also, like a pair of 3D aviators.

I've been hoping they come out with a better version, or that maybe some 3rd party glasses will be compatible with the 3D vision emitter in the future. That way i can give this pair to the g/f or kid and use them.

Well at least i know its not just me then, i remember reading in the papers that came with it saying they were designed around fashionable sunglasses, not so sure around the whole fashionable part but they certainly dont fit like my sunglasses do. Would be nice if the arms were detachable just after the electronics bit (if that makes sense) so you could but a pair of arms on it that dont bulge outwards and back in.

But hey, they cant please everyone, im still more than chuffed with them.

They are ok, but if there is any plans for new models, then the Samsung glasses fit better, they are lighter and wrapped around the eyes better

I also found the glasses to be very uncomfortable at first, same as the other posters with the arms of the glasses pressing behind my ears. I don't have a particularly big head either, with fitted baseball caps I wear a size 7 or 7 1/4" max.....there's still 7 1/2, 7 5/8 and 7 3/4 for those bucketheads out there! :) I actively bent the arms away for a few weeks to relieve some of the pressure and also put some cotton gauze around them for awhile until my head grew accustomed to the feel as I don't wear eyeglasses normally. But as others said, they're nowhere near as comfortable as my sunglasses either. Now the biggest discomfort as others mentioned is from headphone gaming as circumaural headsets can put a lot of pressure on the arms of the glasses so that after awhile it feels like freaking jaws of life clamping down on the back of my head. Now I'm seriously considering getting a pair of high quality ear buds so that I can still game and wear the glasses without major discomfort.

Jaws of life hahaha lmao /haha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':haha:' /> me too, can get a bit uncomfortable, and i had to 'shave' the narrowest nose piece with a craft knife because it jutted out past the plastic and dug into my hooter. Gawd nvidia tsk tsk

I don't like the design, because they don't fit under my AH-D2000 headphones. I have to wear them angled down, with the parts intended for my ears instead resting near the top of my headphones. It's comfortable enough that way, I suppose.

i've found iz3d's passive glasses much more comfortable
if i game with 3d vision for long enough, because of headphones, i will have INDENTATIONS in the skin behind my ears.

I replaced the default nosepiece and gently bent the outer edges of the arms outwards and now I can wear them all day without any discomfort.

I also changed the nose piece on mine which makes it a little more comfortable on the nose part but the arms are still too far away from my head (i must have a narrow head or something) im gonna try bending the rubber bits outwards a bit.....preying they dont break, lol!!

I hadnt tried them with my headphones until someone on here mentioned it, and yeah its pretty much impossible to wear the big ear phones and glasses at the same time, hopefully i wont get to a point where i need both at the same time.

I was in PCworld/currys the other day having a look at their 3D setup, they had a 60" panasonic plasma running 3D blu rays, there were a few people gathered to watch the demonstration and they all complained saying the glasses were uncomfortable, i tried them also and damn they really were! Nvidia ones are MUCH better than these panasonic ones (nvidias also look much better) so im happy to know that it could be worse :)

It was funny because i was the telling the guy who works there about my 3D vision kit and he pretty much called me a liar because apparantly they dont make 3D computer monitors! yes me and the missus tore him a new one after that, silly n00b :D

Im assuming that 3dplaytv is going to enbale us to use the nvidia glasses on normal TV's? if so...good! because even though they are a little uncomfortable for me its still miles better than the other 2 i have tried (samsung and panasonic brand).
