Is 3D gaming using Xbox360 theoretically possible on HDMI 1.4 TVs

So I'm wondering, if I buy one of those expensive component HD to HDMI converters (Mad Catz makes one) will I be able to get the 3D signal to work?

I've actually wondered about something similar. Specifically, does that HDFury3 or whatever it's called allow me to do 3D from the PS3 (HDMI) to my VGA-only projector?

This thread is a year old so a lot of my questions have been answered over time as 360 started getting 3D capable games.
But yeah, 360 is 3D capable in theory and could teoretically push 1080p side by side, resulting in 720p per eye. Technically however, like cyberreality said, it is most likely not going to happen. Currently GT5 is the only game on PS3 running in full 720p per eye 3D without upscalling.

Dont forget Black Ops on the Xbox is 3D Ready

As are crysis2, topspin4 (horrendous 3d) and deBlob2 (awesome 3d)
Also... An older 360 (no hdmi) works fine. Just gotta be output at 1080i is all. And buggered if I can see the difference on a Sammy plasma.
Have an hdmi model, which outputs it at 1080p. But looks the same.
