3DVision Display dont Work Using DVI/HDMI adaptator
Hi everybody,

I've just buy a MSI 56OGTX-TI from MSI with 2 Dual Link output and 1 mini-Hdmi.

My Screenplay is a Video Projector Certified by Nvidia (BenQ 710ST).
My System is a 64Bit system with Windows7.
I use a new 3DVision 2

I connect an adaptator DVI=>Hdmi to my graphic card and directly plug into my VP with a 5meter HDMI Cable.

I install new drivers from nvidia, plug the IRSubmiter and launch the configuration assistant but can't pass the step where youre suppose to have differents images from each eye.

My display do no turn to blur ( if you watch the screen without glasses) and 3dVision dont work.

If you want help me, read this :

My VP is connected in 120Hz directly in Windows.
I don't have another screen connected to my computer.

It seem that my 3dVision is visible by my computer, but my computer dont want to change his display to display 3D Video.

When i try to launch Battlefield 3 with Stereoscopic, my game crash.

If i try to watch the 3dVision channel on youtube i have a double video ... but no 3D ...

All this can coming from my cable ?

Please help me ... i didn't sleep a lot yesterday.

PS : Before buying my new card i had and amd card ....

I don't know where is my probleme

Heya:)

I will try to keep this short. I don't know exactly how to explain it but I will try:

DVI to HDMI is always A FAIL! That is because DVI uses two synchronization signals for V and H while the DMI provides just one. So basically you can select 120Hz in Windows because that is the Vertical refresh rate. If you go to nVidia control panel and try to add a custom resolution you will notice that Horizontal refresh is ~120 KHZ while Vertical refresh is ~ 60 HZ :) (Or the other way around..don't remember exactly) The only way that I know to have a 3D display connected except for DVI is by using a DVI-> ACTIVE Display port adapter and that is around 100 Euros like this one: http://3dvision-blog...reo-3d-adapter/

So in short..no it will not work. If anyone else thinks I made a mistake here, please correct me:)

Best Regards,

Does this projector even have a DVI input? (stats) Are you supposed to use 3DTV Play to make it work or what?
