Go to your local disco and lightentrepreneur and buy some discolightfilm: Lee-filters: (HT)026-red and (HT)116-medium blue-green. These gives a way better experience than other films (maybe even than with the best anaglyph glasses too).

If you use the lee-filters you will only need one layer for each eye. No need to 4-folds them.

Cheers!

Yes, they do work!
I have a pair of anaglyph glasses from anachrome.com (Thanks Freke!) but if i have to use anaglyph i use the Lee-filters. I put lee-filters in a pair of plastic themepark former polarized glasses.
I have only experience of the anachrome anaglyph glasses and lee-filters and in my oninion lee-filters are way better in regards of ghosting while the anachrome glasses have a little better colorreproduction. Myself i prefer the better ghosting rejection.
Check Freke's vid for comparisons.
