Since we have the tv that we have, we don't have the luxory of using the newest barely functioning drivers[/quote]

Yeah, other than lacking some profiles you may be perfectly content with the older drivers. I know the last few gpu drivers out like the 196s are crash happy. Until I moved to these drivers for 3D vision my system never crashed. I find 182.50 to be the best drivers for stability … ya know … if you don’t want to use 3D or play some of the newest games. After 182.50 drivers seem to get more unstable and less predictable with every release.

No No I am just saying there are profiles nVidia has yet to make for some newer games and you may be lacking some profiles getting installed if you do a clean sweep and install older drivers.

Hi All

We have a new driver coming officially in about 1.5 weeks. That will add a lot of new game profiles and also support the Samsung DLP users.

Regarding BioShock 2, we are still waiting for a patch from 2k games. I have forwarded all of these forum messages to the developer relations account managers so they understand the desire to play the game in 3D.

Thanks for keeping us informed Andrew. Looking forward to the new release. Took me a year to get my pc and mitsubishi tv set up for 3d so I have really learned to be patient. Am looking forward to bioshock though.

Thanks for the update andrew.

Hopefully we will get patches/profiles for Mass Effect 2 and BS2.
I have been an avid PC gamer for more than 15 years and generally run high performance SLI graphics at high resolution (2560x1600). Purchased 3DVision with acer 235Hz last last month and I can honestly say that the experience it provides is remarkable and far superior to even 2560x1600 in 2D. I am now very reluctant to play any game without 3DVision & so anxiously await profiles/patches.

In the meantime for anyone thinking about 3DVision: BUY IT and reexperience these games in an entirely new way:

BatmanAA- Perfect with 3DVision and high Physx
Dark Void - Amazing with 3D vision and high Physx
CODMW2- Excellent with 3DVision (if you have already played it try the campaign using cheathappens.com trainer with bullettime to run in slow motion: outstanding in 3D. (Use pinnacle game profiler to control game in a smooth cinematic way, people are blown away by the presentation)
Assassins Creed 1: excellent in 3D vision.
Bioshock 1: Some levels and parts of levels are great in 3D vision.

Awesome!! Thanks Andrew for a true ETA on getting sammys back in action. As for Bioshock 2, I shoved the disc in the back of my junk drawer. From the looks of it 2k will take a while before they get their ducks in a row on this game (soooo bugy).

I'm sure he understands it is never directed at him and we do appreciate his efforts in our 3-D quest.
It's like me my work I seen so many people ripping us a new one but never once thought it was anything much.
