I had to use background input even for wiimote emulation with the mouse. Seems to me it should just always be enabled. Also I haven't found a way to close the game / emulator without a million errors and a crash afterward. Many thanks for this though :)

That's exactly why I don't play Dolphin with the 3D Vision box checked. Until you can close down Dolphin with 3D Vision, without errors, I don't see the point of crashing the EMU every time I want to exit out of the game for whatever reason, even if it's just to slightly tweak a setting. As a demonstration, it's kind of cool, but to actually play the game that way, it's pointless.

I wouldn't say its pointless, games crash and at least with this one, you can control when... /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

End the program in task manager to avoid the millions of errors

I'm sorry. Pointless was probably too strong of a word. More like 'very frustrating.'

It must be a difficult issue to fix, because the problem of exiting dolphin or pressing alt+enter to get to the main gui, has been there for over a year I think. I wish it would get more attention into implementing a fix.

If you're interested in playing Majora's Mask via the Zelda Collector's Edition disc, I recently did a ton of work figuring out how to solve the crashes that have been plaguing it. Check out the settings to use in the wiki:

Yeah, there was actually a build or 2 where you could properly exit when using 3D Vision (it still crashed when alt-tabbing) but then something unrelated got fixed, breaking 3D Vision. After getting it working again, the exit key no longer worked.

It's a shame aswell since it's probably a simple fix, I just don't know enough about how Dolphin works. Plus, my trial of VS2010 ran out, so I can't make edits at the moment anyway.

[/quote]I'm just curious, you say it supports 3d vision yet you can play @ 1920x1080@24hz? Don't you mean 60hz? 24hz would be 3d tv play no?

What we need to do is possibly lobby the Dev's for a fix.

Could be. May be we should get together and approach them. Get enough people on here to pay $5 - $10/donation for them to give it attention, I think they might just do it.

That's how I do it - $5here and there makes their effort worthwhile given the auditorium, besides PayPal is safe (at least where I am concerned)

Got the feeling that they won't be accepting donations, emulators are in a fairly grey area legally, adding profit to that would probably be risky.
