I will pay money for support for 3d vision on my S27a950d
  1 / 2
Is there any way I can get 3d vision support for this display? I have a GTX titan and would really like to play my games in frame sequential 3d mode. I have used TriDef 3D but their 3d has not been as good. I do not want to use the other methods of getting it to work because I believe there are simple changes needed from Nvidia's side to get it working right. I am willing to pay money for Nvidia to enable 3D vision working with this display. If any other owners of this display also would support this idea. Please mention it here.

It's a great monitor, had great reviews http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/monitors/display/samsung-sa950.html I have a S23A700D that I use with a Radeon card and AMD HD3D/Tridef when I'm not using my projector and/or 3D Vision.

I am aware there is no support for this display. I am willing to pay money to Nvidia to have 3d vision enabled for this display. I am the owner of this display and Nvidia graphics card. Samsung does not own my display anymore since I purchased it. By legal rights, if I paid Nvidia for a way to enable 3d vision. I should be allowed.

Nvidia does not work that way.... 3D Vision official support can only be obtained by the Manufacturer You might look on 3D vision Blog for an unofficial workaround.

Maybe there's a way to trick the TV into reporting as a supported model?

If only it were a "TV", it would be so much easier. OP wants 120Hz Dual Link DVI-D What driver are you using? I thought Nvidia reimplemented generic CRT, so what's the problem?

I don't understand how to do this stuff, if someone could PM me back who knows how to do it, that would be great! I don't want to mess with EDID and screw something up really bad.

That won't help, the S27A750D is Displayport not Dual Link DVI-D The OP's biggest PROBLEM is that he does not have a 3D Vision emitter!!!!!

Shouldnt matter but he can talk to him and check. He is using a edid override for a display without a display port and still using his.

Yes but he's using EDID override with HDMI for 3DTV Play enabled via a 3D Vision emmiter. Also Samsungs have some kind of weird timings/refresh rates/porches or something, they will not work with just any EDID EDIT: he's using 3D Vision but, but he does have an emitter
