Viewsonic PJD 6531 Has anyone got it to work with 3D Vision?
Has anyone got 3D Vision to work with a Viewsonic projector?
I have literally tried everything except what works of course. The Nvidia software will not recognize the projector.
I believe there is a hack to get this working, see this thread:

Thanks for the link. Not sure what to do about the optima driver tho. Dont think it will work with my Viewsonic.
PJD 6531w works with older Nvidia drivers (GeForce 3D Vision CD v1.11 WHQL) which enables 'generic monitor' option. All drivers with newer rev. do not work. There is the trick for this, in order to enable 3D in Nvidia control panel, you will need to "swap" you selection during glasses setup test (triangle with hexagon).
You second option is 'bumize' your DVI to RGB adapter connector removing 2 pins (hack used for optoma)
I did this hack on my 6531 and it works fine. You need to install display driver manually as no-PnP monitor from .inf file included in your Viewsonic installation CD, this 'tells graphic driver' what resolutions display supports, or you can add not suported resolutions in Nvidia control panel manullay. I also removed manually all display drivers info from the registry before this procedure, not sure if this is necessary step.
I'm working on dispaly EDID data override from registry, so I can use HDMI Input on a projector, but no luck yet...
Hope this helps a bit..
