I tried to install the fix and the situation is indeed as I described. Currently you have to do these 4 steps to make Hitman fix install properly: 1. Rename folder of Hitman (remove TM) 2. Edit manifest file 3. Set a custom install path to the renamed folder (with subfolder "Retail") in 3D Fix Manager for Hitman (otherwise install fails because registry still thinks you have a TM-folder) 4. Install the Fix with 3D Fix Manager Seems like that the TM problem comes from 3DMigoto not supporting Unicode and only ASCII (?) It would be possible to automate all of these steps with 3D Fix Manager. I will set this on the todo-list :)

Hello! Thank You for this amazing tool :) But I have one problem with Hitman in installation guide in HelixMod it is said to make folder without the little "TM", but Your fix is downloading in folder with "TM".
Hitman is my Steam library, too so I will take a look into it (Did not test the fix for hitman yet but looks very promising). I think the problem is that the windows registry still tells that the game is installed in a folder with the little "TM" although you already changed it and 3D Fix Manager still tries to install the fix in the TM-Folder. You can bypass this by defining a custom install path (click on edit in the left corner). Maybe I could define an extra rule that 3D Fix Manager installs the hitman fix in a folder without TM if it finds one. Will look into it tonight :)
Would be worth experimenting if the TM fix is necessary or not. DHR definitely needed it, but it doesn't make logical sense to me based on how the code works, so there is some other factor involved that is unclear. I don't have the game, so can't dig into it further.

DCS World: Seems like the application is crashing when it tries to install in "C:\program files..". This folder is protected by Windows and it seems that this causes the issue. Does it help when you make a right click on the game folder and remove the write protection? I have all my games on D:\, E:\... so I never ran into this problem yet. Maybe it also helps when you right click on 3d fix manager and choose "run as admin". I will look if it can be fixed in the code but a short google search told me "don't try to write files in C:\program files" with C# lol :D. But maybe there is a solution... AC 3: Ups, I added the wrong download link accidentally. This will be fixed in the next update. Some steps have to be performed manually to install fixes like changing the game profile in nvidia inspector for DCS world. The newest version of 3dmigoto is able to install 3d profiles automatically so maybe the creator of the fix could update the fix and add this. Short update to the next program version of 3D Fix Manager: it will include all the features you asked for (3d vision on / off button, automatically disable fixes when 3d is off, tridef detection (or any other process you want), search paths and a few bugfixes. Runs pretty well so far. Some smaller things have to be still implemented until it will be released this week probably.

Congratz Paul on your tool, your dedication to 3D is much appreciated. I've not used it yet, and in general don't think I'm the target audience, but I agree that if brings standardisation and user friendliness to using and enjoying the 3Dfixes this should indeed become the stickiest of the stickies on the Helix blog. As Bo3b was saying recently in the RAR discussion, anything that helps the shader fixers and the 3DMigoto administrators avoid questions will allow them more time to work on other stuff. Maybe even play the damn games once in a while.
