There are still some lights (difficult ones, because i can't found them). Also there is some kind of tesselation at screen depth...is not PS or VS...don't look yet (probably will need the help from DSS in this one) And the HUD will be a pain in the ass :( .... It's a good start!!!
Awesome DHR!!! Looking really good!!! What I learned so far: - If an effect is not disabled using a PS/VS is either a HS/CS/DS shader. If is still not a HS/CS/DS shader, PINK helps when going through the PS/VS shaders;) I had to use PINK in DS3 to find some of the lights shaders. Simply skipping them didn't work;) I think it was you actually told me about the PINK;) In any case I just wanted to post this one here and refresh the memory of those who are interested;) If I can help in any way, please let me know;)

@mrorange55 If you press the second mouse button over the image, select "Save image as" it download the .jps file. @Helifax Yes, i use the PINK...so probably is HS/CS/DS shader....i have to do a deep look The game have a few complications, dumped HLSL shader are all busted (except a few) so i have to use ASM. Also the 3Dmigoto overlay sometimes disappear, i have to re-start the game. There is no header in shaders (names), so for example, yesterday i have to use Frame Analysis to found the Projection Matrix. The game have 32 CS active shaders, so probably at least one of them will be broken (hope not!) I'm in the very beginning of the game, so i recommend to wait a litte.....but this is a very good start! Also, i have a few other projects that i want to finish first.

Interesting;) Can you please tell me how did you find the projection matrix using the Frame Analysis? Any special options you set for Frame Analysis to give you matrix? I only used it for dumping the textures and the framebuffers but not to actually get data from a frame. I am really curious ! Thx!

@helifax In the d3dx.ini, ShaderOverride section i use this. This will prevent dumping like 100MB++ of txt files.
[ShaderOverride_FA] Hash=################ analyse_options = dump_cb_txt
Where the ################ is the hash of the shader you want to analyze. And the "Dump_cb_txt" dump the Constant Buffer for every shader involve/related to the shader. In the game folder you will see a "Frame Analysis" folder created with .txt files. I will take for this example: "000233-ps-cb0-vs=70a6037eee5ad7ef-ps=61be8af69348d6cf.txt"
cb0[0].x: -0.677830398 cb0[0].y: 0.0260240752 cb0[0].z: 0.734757602 cb0[0].w: 0 cb0[1].x: 0 cb0[1].y: Grab sequence of 16 constants from the .txt files and match that structure. I already in the example separate 4x4 constants with spaces and *. In this example the cb[4],cb[5], cb[6] and cb[7] match the Inverse Projection Matrix. If you look the example, the cb[16] was another option....but lucky me i first test with the cb[4]
cb0[4].x: 1.18653965 cb0[4].y: 0 cb0[4].z: 0 cb0[4].w: 0 cb0[5].x: 0 cb0[5].y: 2.10940385 cb0[5].z: 0 cb0[5].w: 0 cb0[6].x: -0.000781250012 cb0[6].y: -0.00138888892 cb0[6].z: -2.00000386e-006 cb0[6].w: 1 cb0[7].x: 0 cb0[7].y: 0 cb0[7].z: 0.0100000193 cb0[7].w: 0
The rest is to found the correct fixing code in the shader. Play with the signs, etc... This is the same thing i do in Dying Light. sometimes the Projection Matrix can be in the VS, so you need to pass from the VS to the PS and use it. Hope this help!!!! This info need to be in the Shaderhacker school page.
@helifax

In the d3dx.ini, ShaderOverride section i use this.
This will prevent dumping like 100MB++ of txt files.

[ShaderOverride_FA]
Hash=################
analyse_options = dump_cb_txt

Now the PM or IPM have an structure, READ THIS ***this file worth GOLD!!** (This info was posted by DSS a while ago, THANKS for sharing!!). Grab sequence of 16 constants from the .txt files and match that structure. I already in the example separate 4x4 constants with spaces and *.

In this example the cb[4],cb[5], cb[6] and cb[7] match the Inverse Projection Matrix.
If you look the example, the cb[16] was another option....but lucky me i first test with the cb[4]

cb0[4].x: 1.18653965
cb0[4].y: 0
cb0[4].z: 0
cb0[4].w: 0

cb0[5].x: 0
cb0[5].y: 2.10940385
cb0[5].z: 0
cb0[5].w: 0

cb0[6].x: -0.000781250012
cb0[6].y: -0.00138888892
cb0[6].z: -2.00000386e-006
cb0[6].w: 1

cb0[7].x: 0
cb0[7].y: 0
cb0[7].z: 0.0100000193
cb0[7].w: 0

The rest is to found the correct fixing code in the shader. Play with the signs, etc...

This is the same thing i do in Dying Light.
sometimes the Projection Matrix can be in the VS, so you need to pass from the VS to the PS and use it.

Hope this help!!!!
This info need to be in the Shaderhacker school page.

Big thanks for doing it mate. It is amazing game. I`ll be so happy to go back to it. Probably like everybody else - when they release some worthy DLC.

@DHR: Awesome big thanks for the info! I agree! It should be stickied on the Shaderhacker school page !!!

Will there be an Alpha Fix?

Greetings Ron

Probably yes, but i don't know when. I'm in the very beginning....no more than 2 blocks from the starting point and 3h playing. There are 2 game breaking issues atm: - Some Lighting in the floor or some surfaces - 2D Tesselation And also there are more stuff: - HUD, this will be a really pain in the ass....there are a lot of stuff, map, etc. - Ocean halo - Volumetric light (lights of lampposts), i can't found the Shader (VS, PS, CS, there are the active ones) - In indoors, there is some blue/gray light clipping on the sides of the screen (you can see it in the last 2 screenshots)
