Is it Compatibility that stripes diagonally on the edges?
My problem is, that after upgrading to i7 4790K today, i ran black flag with migoto's 067 fix, and after playin for a while, this annoying stipe was on the edges when i sailed fast with the ship, minutes later i pressed ctrl alt F11, and it dissapeared, was that glitchy thing the compatability mod? since game went a little more laggier after "disabling" it.

The game will be laggier with the Migoto fix because it's full 3D rendering. The CM mode, because it's approximate, is faster. So if I understand what you say, the border is there with CM on, i.e. when the game is not laggy you have the border, when the game is more laggy (Migoto fix) there is no border?

Sounds like you may have been cycling through the Frustrum modes as well ... Ctrl+F11 to cycle through Frustrum modes and Ctrl+Alt+F11 to toggle CM, what eqzitara mentioned above usually removes the 'bars' without the need to cycle through the modes.

Yes, the Ctrl F11 - I know that, the 3 modes, but those didnt help. Some 3D must have reset for me, since i switched out my mobo and cpu. I totally understand the compatability mode being the "fictive 3D" therefore taking no resource. It just scared me at start, when I saw the "better effect of a new CPU" and yet some screen edges. Now its all good again, and believe me, the 4790K is worth it :D Now off to wait for a twin MSI GTX770 to SLI and my guess, merry life will be butter smooth :D arrrrrrr thanx And just for mentions, whoever has a good cpu - a single 770GTX should have environmental graphics at "normal" the most, going higher really hurts your FPS, yet making it "LOW" will lose you all the grass and plants. cheeeers

Tried eqzitara's suggestion? Also, what were you running before, and what kind of difference are you seeing in Black Flag with the upgrade

I didnt try eqz's suggestion, because disabling CM mode was really it, or does it make any difference? If it does under CM, then no thanx, thats shite 3D as fellows call it, no point in improving it by removing the borders :D if you get my mean, the migoto fixing team did it all. I upgraded from FX-8120, overclocked from 3.1 to 4.2GHZ, now I have the intel i7, 4790K, at its base clock of 4 GHZ (not overclocked yet, day 1 still) with a custom cooling of Noctua NH-U12 or smth like that. 10 gigs of RAM (some shits, not fancy "gaming stuff" and a single MSI GTX 770 twin frozor OC 2gb gddr version. Game is not on SSD, only OS is, since its a 64 gb one, nothing fits there. I dont know about frames, since im not into numbers so much, but the game is much more playable, SPECIALLY Havanna, which gave up its lagging issues by clearly telling me that "m8, u finally got it, Im Cpu hungry" Mmmm, good dish....any more?

Maximum pre rendered frames = 1 Should remove/minimize the issue where screen cuts off. ------------- If you want to see if you are ever facing CPU issues [Low framerate] Drop your resolution to lowest possible but keep all existing settings the same. Use an application like fraps and if frame rate does not increase it is CPU. Otherwise its most likely GPU [or application related] Ram/hard drive is almost never an issue. [Unless too little ram. which is not your problem] If I had to guess, only 1-770 card is a bit low for 3D. Like a single 770 is good enough for 1080P@max-2D. But 3D requires double basically.

Not really for me. A single TF 770 OC is enough for 2D, since i dont even play it, i switch to it sometimes to see that its really smooth, but i never play in 2D anymore, never ever. I get along in 3D pretty nicely, but im not really playing at 1080p I guess, i have an EDID hacked philips 42" 3dtv, but since 3dtv play is piece of shite, i edid hacked mine to an Acer, and i get 3dvision, which is superb )))) I play at 1080i
