I've been trying to setup my Mitsubishi WD-73738 with 3DTV Play, however when I enter the setup wizard the right eye is completely dark making it impossible to complete the wizard. My understanding is that 3DTV Play allows you to use the 3D glasses and IR emitter that comes with your 3D TV, instead of having to purchase the separate NVIDIA 3D Vision kit. I spent quite a bit of time researching this issue and haven't found any solutions, any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
My current setup is...
Mitsubishi WD-73738
Purchased 3DTV Play installed and activated
GeForce 470GTX connected via mini-HDMI to HDMI cable directly into port 3 of my WD-73738 TV.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open NVIDIA Control Panel
2. Select 'Set up stereoscopic 3d' under Stereoscopic 3D.
3. At this point the Stereoscopic 3D display type shows the "3DTV Play" icon.
4. Click "Run Set Wizard"
5. 'Set up NNVIDIA 3DTV Play' screen shows, click "Next".
6. 'Turn on your glasses' screen now shows, My TV blinks black as it changes to display the new 3d mode format. My TV recognizes the 3D format and tells to put my 3d glasses on. At this point the right eye on my glasses is constantly dark so I cannot see out of it.
7. I click next to bring up the 'Hardware Test' screen. I cannot see anything out of the right eye so it is impossible to continue.
I have also looked in the 3d menu settings for my TV. Source Format is set to automatic, Glasses L-R is set to Standard, and Glasses Control is set to IR Emitter.
The issue seems to exist in all the drivers below...
270.61
285.62
285.79
290.36
290.53

I contacted "slickwill" and he confirmed that even today the issue is present
My current setup is very similar to him
Mitsubishi WD-65738
3DTV Play installed (not purchased yet: trial period)
GeForce GT 520 connected via HDMI to HDMI cable directly into port 3 of my WD-65738 TV.
The problem is exactly the same: right eye Blacked out.
I tried almost with every possible configuration but 3DTV is not doing it's job. Last beta driver installed: 290.53
Is there anybody in this forum using a Mitsubishi DLP and 3DTV where the 3D works? My impressionn is that this 3DTV is not compatible at with Mitsubisshi DLP
I will appreciate any help (I would like to buy 3DTV..I still have 12 more days for the trial)
