I just fired up the game again for the first time in months and it's running OK here with everything on Ultra except TressFX turned off. I am win 7 though, not Win 8. I am getting mostly constant 60 FPS in 3D, with SLI (2x 770), though did get some dips to high 30s/low 40s when next to a camp fire, but that's almost certainly a game issue. I am on latest WHQL driver.
I have win 8.1 pro, maybe thats the issue, but getting only a 60 fps with double 770 seems weird.
Because I played Crysis 3 the other day, the most demanding game I know and it is smooth as butter with 3D turned on, without a single stutter or fps dipping down
Crysis 3 uses fake 3d though, you'll notice the 3d has little depth and there's almost no performance hit. It's not worth anything as a benchmark.
So far the best game for 3D vision is Trine 1 and 2 imo, Max Payne 3 is very good also. I thought Crysis 3 is really good too.
I don't understand why there is a problem with Tomb Raider in 3D, with only single card enabled it's ok I guess, the fps is around 40 fps , but when I turn on the second card the frame goes rapidly down to 10 fps....
