Can't turn off 3d vision, please help!
I just recently purchased an Asus VG236H with Nvidia's 3d kit. After i'm done playing a game in 3D I click on Disable 3d vision but it doesn't disable. The nvidia control panel shows that 3d vision is disabled but when I launch another game it's still in 3d. The monitor's menu also shows that it's still in 3d mode. I have to reboot the computer in order to turn off 3d vision.
I have the latest WQL drivers for my video card and 3d vision. Any ideas?

My gaming rig:
Windows 7 64-bit
i5 760
MSI GD65
MSI GTX 470 Twin Frozr II
4GB RAM

If you want to 'shake' it out of this i always run the 3d test in the control panel then exit it. It seems to be constant problem where most games won't 'give back' control when they finish and the monitor is left in its brightened state. I've seen this happening ever since i started using windows 7.

Thanks! That's exactly what happens, my monitor will be super bright because it's stuck in 3d mode after exiting a game. I'll give it a shot tonight. Other users also having this issue have recommended putting the computer in standby mode instead of rebooting in order to get out of 3d mode. Which nvidia drivers are you using? I was thinking of upgrading to the latest beta 2.6 drivers to see if it will fix it.
