I'm trying to do quad buffered stereo in OpenGL. I've acquired a Quadro 6000 card + 3D Vision pro hub and glasses and is running my application on Windows 7.
My problem right now is that Win7 / graphic drivers won't let me create a quad buffered context.
I'm currently using an Acer HS244HQ monitor (HDMI 1.4, 120Hz) but it is not on the [url="http://www.nvidia.co.uk/object/3d-vision-pro-requirements-uk.html"]System Requirements[/url] list.
After reading [url="http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=176854"]this thread[/url] and [url="http://www.nvidia.com/docs/IO/40049/3DVISION_PRO_User_Guide.pdf"]this guide[/url] I suspect quad buffering simply won't work with this monitor as it's connected with Display Port to HDMI.
As far as I've gathered the requirement for a monitor to be approved for 3D Vision pro is that it need to support Dual Link DVI but the System Requirements page doesn't really specify exactly what a monitor has to support to get on the list. So, before I run of buying new monitors as well I just wanted to see if anyone can confirm this being the case or if quad buffering should work with any 120Hz monitor with any connection, in which case I've made a mistake somewhere else.

The 3D monitor you've got supports only 3D over the HDMI 1.4 interface, meaning that you need to send frame packaged 3D content in order for it to accept it and understand it and the Qaudro drivers do not support that, so you will not be able to make it work (additional conversion adapters don't help). You need to get a 3D Vision-ready monitor that supports 120Hz input trough a Dual-Link DVI interface.
