Optoma HD66 - Can't enable 3D Vision with Wired Glasses
I recently purchased a pair of the wired 3D glasses. I also have 3x of the Viewsonic VX2268WM 22" 120z 3D monitors running in Surround. 3D works flawlessly with my displays (and looks amazing BTW), but I can't get it to work with my HD66 projector.
When I switched over to the projector, it kept 3D vision "enabled" due to it being enabled with my monitors, but I couldn't get my PC to produce any 3D effects. So I tried to run the setup wizard again. On the setup screen the Discover glasses option is the only one that's enabled - it's like it doesn't detect the wired glasses at all.
I've tried with both the latest WHQL driver release and the latest beta drivers, and can't it to work with either. 3D is also turned on in my projector settings.

Look in Device manager and ensure the projector is recognized, not just listed as a generic non plug and play device. I have one on order, and if this happens to me I intend to force the H5360 EDID Over ride, as I had to do with my H5360.

You'll probably be disappointed with the performance of the nVidia Wired Glasses with the DLP projector, too. Myself and others have experienced good 3D effects, but with an unbearable reddish and posterized tone to the image. Supposedly nVidia's wireless glasses work better, or you can get a pair of DLP-Link glasses which work well with the Wired Glasses plugged into your PC's USB port.

Anyone have any ideas?
