Yea I loved the style. It was so awesome seeing this done in 3D its like 10 2d planes overlapping each other. I never thought that could be so awesome in 3d.

always been a fan of Rayman.....i played on Consoles, and now i can play it in 3D.
Have a lot of layers in different depth, the game look great in 3D!..... i hope nvidia don't f**k it with a profile.

BTW if you play Rayman on a projector screen...then you don't have any problems with the high convergence shortcuts..they do not hurt the eyes anymore...no double seeing...

Just tried it out today..Trine had to much details to really shine on a projector screen, but Rayman loves it !

Anyone, who likes sidescrollers in s-3d should try Trine 1/2 and Limbo, and with Limbo it is surprising the depth you get from 3d, considering the game is pretty much two dimensional. The scenery comes to live with things sticking out in the foreground and fading in the back. Be sure to use max separation :)

Just played for a few hours and it was sick!

The best is when you are side scrolling and pop a bunch of enemies that come flying out at you....mosquito levels are the best

I`ve tried another two side-scrolling games that offer good S3D experience: - Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams: http://gianasisterstwisteddreams.com/ - Stained: http://www.stained-thegame.com/ In both games I'm in the first levels but until now there are only some minor issues and both games look much better in S3D than in 2D. So give it a try!

I only played the demo but it did indeed seem 3d vision ready which was strange about the rating which is GOOD. Pretty much the only game that got a lower rating then it deserved(usually the opposite)

Its like big developer with crappy 3d games can pay to get a great rating, while a normal hardworking and honest developers with great 3d games can only get so-so rating. Another example is Max Payne 3d, the rating is only Good, while I think its very great. No wonder not many people mention MaxPayne 3 for a recommended 3d game.

Just can't remenber a specific game but I also had other gaames that are rated worse in their profile than they actually are. A reason could be that Nvidia tested the game in a preview version whereas the final game or later updates removed issues with S3D (e.g. the water surfaces in Venetica). I hope that is also the case with the "not recommended" rating for Assassin's Creed 3 (that supports S3D for consoles!). We shouldn't blame Nvidia that they do not retest every game. But I also think that there is a tendency to rate AAA titles better than other titles.

This on sale on steam for $6.79 for the next 48 hrs or so, cheapest it's been according to steamgamesales. Personally I love 2D games ... hand drawn games, I feel like we lost out on them once the explosion of polygon based games happened. Never really got that 'next-gen' of 2D games, high resolutions, extreme amounts of parallax scrolling. Needless to say I'll definitely be purchasing this one. There's very few 2D games in 3D on the PC, they're on the 3ds and PS3 but even when they come to PC they cut the 3D. For instance Mutant Mudds and Rocketbirds, both great in 3D just not on PC. steam game sales: http://www.steamgamesales.com/NnH9x/rayman-origins direct link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/207490/ I might have to try this out too. I can't get over how many separate scrolling layers there are in this game. I bought Whispered World because of that but never got around to playing it, although I doubt it'll work in 3D like this.
