3D Vision constantly on as soon as I boot my pc with the latest drivers
Hi,
Im running windows 10 with Asus VG278H monitor 3d emitter built in and with the latest drivers My monitor kicks 3d vision on as soon as my computer boots up. Lightboost kicks in as well which makes my colors look washed out even when I am just trying to browse the web or watch a youtube video. Eve if I uncheck 3d stereoscopy my emitter and lightboost stay on. I have to either restart my computer with 3d off or change my refresh rate to 60.
There are no options to specify when 3d should kick in like in windows 7 from the nvidia control panel. This really annoying.
Does anyone know if there is a workaround to this?

Sounds like your monitor enters 3D mode whenever you're on 120hz. You can try this tool http://helixmod.blogspot.ro/2015/10/advanced-3d-vision-configuration.html for the missing 3D vision options.
Personally I like using Lightboost sometimes when I'm browsing or playing certain games so I'm running Hotkey Resolution Changer to quickly switch between 120hz and 144hz, turning 3D mode on and off. Not so sure if 100hz would turn 3D mode off too...

You can try opening and closing a jps file to see if will switch it off.
Maybe try Blur Busters for an app that they use to turn motion blur/ulmb on and off.
Try DDU, if you haven't already.
thanks guys, but yeah i will have to deal with it. issue is with windows 10 im pretty sure. As i don't have an option specify when the 3d stereoscopy should kick in in the nvidia control panel.

I haven't seen that option in a long time, even on Windows 7... pretty sure all it changes is StereoDefaultOn(and StereoDefaultONSet?) in the Registry. You could try setting StereoDefaultOn(and StereoDefaultONSet?) to 0 in the Registry manually...
I'm not experiencing this issue with Windows 10 on the latest Drivers(378.92) but I also don't have a built-in emitter... still not positive it's Windows 10 though. I'd at the very least do a clean Driver install, maybe even DDU it just to be sure...
