TsaebehT is correct. Load drivers -> reboot -> right click on desktop -> display settings -> switch 3D display button on This will bypass the need to run NV3D Setup Wizard

Display Settings is not NVIDIA Control Panel... Right-click Desktop > Display Settings > 3D Display Mode > On or cmd /c start ms-settings:display at the Run Prompt(Win+R) > 3D Display Mode > On or start ms-settings:display at the cmd prompt > 3D Display Mode > On or Start(Window Icon) > Settings(Gear Icon) > System(Laptop Icon) > Display(Monitor Icon) > 3D Display Mode > On or Run this EnableS3D.VBS script:
If WScript.Arguments.Length = 0 Then Set objShell = CreateObject("Shell.Application") objShell.ShellExecute "WScript","""" & WScript.ScriptFullName & """ RunAsAdmin",,"RunAs",1 WScript.Quit End if Set objShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell") objShell.RegWrite "HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D\StereoVisionConfirmed","1","REG_DWORD" objShell.Run ("""C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\3D Vision\nvstlink.exe"" /enable")
...after 3D is enabled make sure to set it up properly using the NVIDIA Control Panel, at this point Enable Stereoscopic 3D should already be checked.

Run this EnableS3D.VBS script:

Well as an update to this nvidia 3d vision driver STILl won't install on windows 10 CFU. Tried DDU, run as administrator, latest driver, older drivers - it appears that windows 10 doesn't believe the asus monitor is a 3d monitor. Although windows 7 does.... After updating to CFU, 3d worked - until I update to any other driver, at which point the 3d vision driver fails, but the 3d controller installs. Looks like I'm staying on windows 7 for 3d gaming.

Well I finally fixed it. The update to CFU somehow screwed up permissions causing the 3d driver installation to fail. Tried various solutions but the one that worked in CFU is to 1) Create new user account 2) Log into new account and set as administrator. 3) Install nvidia drivers from new account 4) Log back into old account

I am already admin on my main account. What do I need to do to fix this. Nvidia and windows 10 doesn’t seem to think my tv can handle 3D either but it was working in win 7

I have seen similar problems with clients PC's with profiles before. Probably just the act of starting a new profile could resolve it, It shouldn't need to be the master Admin account, just give it admin rights in control panel/ users.
