Modern Warfare 3 suddenly impossible to play! help please!
So, I've played Modern Warfare 3 on my computer for the past 2 weeks with no problems. Suddenly, my multi-player game play has become so slow and jerky it is impossible for me to even control my character. When I run forward it seems as though my mouse lags so much I keep running straight even when I move my mouse and only responds a good 2 secs later. The sound is also distorted. This is very puzzling as I did not do anything to the settings whatsoever. My connection is always full when I have this problem so it shouldn't be my connection. I even have this problem when I start a private game with myself. The problem is prevalent when the game is outdoors with many buildings around.

I've tried tweaks from forums, updating my drivers trying different versions even reinstalling my mw3 but to no avail.

I'm using NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT

HELP PLEASE! THANKS!

I had a problem with my mouse lagging and then suddenly unloading heaps causing things to become laggy then eratic.

I fixed the problem by setting my mouse (Logitech G9) to it's lowest polling rate (which is the reports per second setting)
This immediately fixed the problem.

Also look for programs running in the background, eg programs that are loaded at startup for example Origin (EA store) that's also been reported as causing problems.

Hope that helps!
