Benq W1070 3DTV Ready - I cannot pass the setup
  2 / 2
My projector is definitley compatible with Nvidia 3DTV. It works in both 1080p24 and 720p60 and supports frame packing 3D. That's why Trine 2 is working. The problem is just that Trine 2 was the only game in my huge collection that worked right away because it lets me set the refresh rate to 24hz 'in game' (which is the popup menu for graphic settings when you start it). Maybe I should try the EDID override. But if I still need 3DTV Play with 1080p24 or 720p60, what do I get from the override?

I've tried to play Lord of the Fallen but when the game launches the resolution change to 1280x800@120HZ and that terrible message indicates that this is not a hdmi compatible resolution. Even in Assassin Creed Unity if i set to 1080p24hz it does not appears in 3D. Did you override it ? Thx for the help.

So 1280x720@24Hz ? I have a hunch this will not make the engine go to any other resolution or refresh rate... Still a good test to try;))

It is weird because Assassin's Creed Black Flag works in 1080p@24Hz.
I second pirateguybrush. I recommend the "Sony-KDL55HX729" edid file as it's the one I'm using now and 720p works fine. I have the file if you want to use it. Here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nb2iwancgbu7g2e/Sony-KDL55HX729-EDID.inf?dl=0
Thanks! My Benq is now getting recognized as Sony but I can't use any stereoscopic functions because I don't have 3DTV Play and the testing period is over... Or should it already say 'optimized for Nvidia Geforce 3D'? Because it doesn't.

Optomized for GeForce 3D is for Passive Line Interleaced displays and would not work with your projector. 3DTV Play is exactly what you want, unless you had a 3D Vision kit.

Guys I own a SLI of GTX 970 and a BenQ w1080ST. I suppose their 3D glasses work exactly the same as with the w1070, right? I wanna play 3D games in it!!! I dont have any glasses for it yet. Which are the best and not very expensive? I live in Brazil and my dad will pick it up for me in the US, bear in mind US dollars areveryyyy expensive right now. lol thanks!
