How do I create .jps stereo pictures? I need stereo photo creating software
Dear stereophiles,
I have working nvidia LCD glasses
I have two jpg's (one left image and one right image)
I want to create a .jps (filetype) stereo image to view in the nvidia stereo image viewer.
I have winXP
What software can I use to create stereo photos?
I used to use winx3D and 3d PIX, it no longer seems to be a viable solution,
what software are other people using these days to create stereo photos with nvidia chipsets and LCD glasses?
I really want to be able to adjust and view the image in 3d while I am adjusting the registration, does anyone know of software that will do this?
I use nvidia stereo drivers in pageflip and I want to be able to save in .jps
I have tried Stereo Maker, it has alot of features but it does not seem to allow me to adjust the final image while in 3d
I used to use 3D Pix for this with Win3D drivers (which no longer work for me)
Can I use 3D Pix with the nvidia stereo drivers somehow?
Also I can not seem to get 3D Combine work in stereo mode, I can not get the glasses to turn on while in this program.
Any suggestions for this?
Any more Ideas for other stereo photo making software?
Hi Adam,
I don't know of any software which allows you to view and adjust the stereo alignment using the Nvidia drivers. A good compromise is to align the L/R images while viewing in anaglyph stereo format (red/cyan glasses), and then save the final result in JPS parallel format, which can be viewed in the Nvidia viewer.
Two good (and free) tools you might like to try are Anabuilder (http://anabuilder.free.fr/indexEN.html) and Stereo Photomaker (http://www.stereomaker.net/eng/index.html).

P.S.
My apologies - I've just found out that Stereo Photomaker CAN adjust image alignment while viewing in page flip mode. Press F8 then adjust using arrow keys.
My congrats to Masuji Suto, creator of this software.

.jps is basically the same as a .jpg
In paint you would simply:
- open the right eye picture
- select all and copy to clipboard
- open the left eye picture
- resize the canvas to double the width
- paste the clipboard contents in the empty space on the right of the canvas
- save file
- rename as .jps in Windows explorer (make sure you have visible extensions, you may set this in your folder options)

It better be.
