Hey guys, I've been trying out a lot of new games with the 3D vision kit. I got the monitor and the glasses and for the most part they work excellent!
I do have a question though. When I play FEAR2 or DMC4 I get the double images, but putting on the glasses does nothing. Is there a setting I'm missing for these games? I have them both set to the 16:10 resolution, 120 MHZ (119 on DMC).
I'm using a GTX 260 if that makes a difference.
I really want to see this stuff in 3d.Thanks for your help guys!
EDIT: Devil May Cry seems to work in DX 9, the software recognizes the game.
F.E.A.R. 2 still doesn't work. I have to cross my eyes with the glasses on to get any depth. Each lens displays its image properly, but it can't combine the 2...is this limitation of the game or a setting?

Hello
Congratulations on your kit, glad its working.
Devil May Cry
- Are you getting double image in the DX10 version? Can you check to make sure you are following the NVIDIA in-game recommendations (the green pop-up text) and also could you tell me what the name of the EXE is you are launching for Devil May Cry 4?
FEAR2
- I believe this is not working since we have not added a 3D Vision profile to our driver yet. We will be doing that soon.

I had similar problem with fear 2. it seems to have the dreaded post processing issue which kills the s3d effect. The way I got it to run was by super converging the images. By that I mean holding down the ctrl f6 button until the image disappears off one side of the screen and comes back from the other side. that seems to eliminate the post processing overlay and now you have great s3d of whats left. The problem is you have to switch out of s3d to see any control screens, and overlay screens. i do that with a macro on my controller. It works and looks great but it would be better if there was an option to turn off post processing. hopefully most new games will learn to give us that option so we can use s3d with them.

That's pretty much what I do for any game.

I believe it has more to do with these being demo versions than anything. I had a similar problem with the painkiller demo, I bought the full game and it works fine.
Is there a way to add profiles ourselves or do we have to wait for driver updates?

I found that turning off post processing effects like rkuo said did allow this to work without the patch. Hopefully the patch will allow all effects with this. Definitely looks amazing!
I do still see a ghosting effect, maybe that will be fixed with the patch from NVidia?

I do have a question though. When I play FEAR2 or DMC4 I get the double images, but putting on the glasses does nothing. Is there a setting I'm missing for these games? I have them both set to the 16:10 resolution, 120 MHZ (119 on DMC).

Ok I found the new beta drivers 182.06 video and 1.05 stereo to fix the problem i hope.
UPDATE: I installed the drivers and this game is INCREDIBLE in 3D.
