Triple Head 2 Go Users Thread.
  1 / 2
Anybody here want 3D / have 3D working with your system, then please reply here, as I am having nightmares trying to get my rig to work (anaglyph) that is.

I am certain that it is because of the 3840 / 1024 resolution that the driver does not work. I am hoping that Nvidia will see this and up-date the next driver to include TH2G users.

Thanks. Keith.

I would like to see this working, perhaps a dream setup of 3 stereo monitors to give the wider range of view, all in stereo-3d, that would be awesome!

Hi,
I use 2 DLP projectors with Matrox DualHead2Go in 2048x768 res at 85 Hz with e-dim shutterglasses and this works problemless.
The higher resolution (than 3072x768) in 3D is possible, only the test in NV drivers is with Dual head software not functioning, the other software running with Matrox is OK (this can by your problem).
see please this thread (end):

Sounds good, may have to dust off my old shutter glasses. I would like to get anaglyph functioning but I just get lock ups. Not sure what the problem may be, other than the high resolution.

It's not quite clear to me as to whether you've actually got working 3d-stereo at lower resolutions at the moment, but it could well be that your dual-core cpu is the main problem here, assuming that your 3d-stereo setup doesn't work at all. I initially thought that it might have been the cards on my own SLi setup, but running the pc on a single core instead, enabled 3d stereo to function properly. No 3d-stereo driver that's currently available, works with a multi-core processor. Period. That is what has caught so many people out, myself included, who have upgraded their pc within the last 2 years or so.

If you wish to, you might like to sign up here;

Then go to the 3D hardware technical support section. A sticky posted there goes through most, if not all of the possible solutions to your problem. You should be able to get your technical issues sorted out pretty quickly. It certainly worked for me. Good luck.

It has to be said here that only some people are affected by dual core problems, not all.
I have been running dual core conroe for a while now with many different stereo drivers without problems.

I believe that it is mostly an AMD problem that is heavily dependent on the CPU/GFX combo.

I stand corrected, although I'm going purely by personal experience only. That just goes to show what a potential minefield it can be getting working 3d-stereo at present, when it really shouldn't have to be this way. However, if slipstream hasn't gone single core just yet, it might not hurt for him to try it.

I have started a thread on MTBS in the stereo tech support section. It would be great if you guys could pitch in.

I had tried it here in the past, but that thread fell part and drowned due to lack of information.

I am hoping a better fairing this time round as more people have dual core setups now ^_^

I've left a message with that site's administrator. I'd imagine he'll either assist you directly here, or perhaps contact you via the email address you'd given. You should hopefully get a response in due course.

Is there anybody here that has 3D running with TH2GO? I have not heard from anyone as yet. If so could you try out the anaglyph option for me and report back as I still cannot get it working on mine.

Many thanks.
