I have noticed that with 3D Vision enabled in the nVidia control panel, once I start a game up my LCD (AW2130) switches to 100% brightness. Toggling 3D mode via the IR box has no effect on the brightness. And if I quit out said game, I'm stuck with 100% brightness on the desktop and the option to turn it down is greyed out in my LCDs config menu. The only way to get default brightness back is restarting my PC. I also noticed if 3D Vision is disabled in the nVidia control panel, there is no more brightness switch in game. So is this a driver issue? LCD issue? Can anyone please shed some light on this?

That's an issue only in certain games for me, when the brightness gets "stuck". But you shouldn't have to totally restart the pc. Just run the nvidia stereoscopic test then quit and it'll pop back to normal. Kind of sucks but its better than an entire windows restart. I always have my nvidia cp open because of this.

There is another workaround as well.
When I get the 100% brightness bug after exiting the game I just start Fraps. The second the program kicks in, the monitor reverts back to it's normal 2D settings. Obviously, this works with other programs, but for me Fraps is the most convenient.
This occurs on a Asus 23VG236H, btw.
