Convergence resets when hitting F7 to save settings
Is this happening to anyone else?
It just seems to have started happening recently, where I'll adjust my depth and convergence, and try and hit F7 to save the settings but it will reset my convergence instead. At least, that's what it seems like it's doing.
Is this a known issue with recent drivers or something?

Does the app game you are running have a nvidia profile attached to it?
If no profile is attached it will do that.
1x Palit RTX 2080Ti Pro Gaming OC(watercooled and overclocked to hell)
3x 3D Vision Ready Asus VG278HE monitors (5760x1080).
Intel i9 9900K (overclocked to 5.3 and watercooled ofc).
Asus Maximus XI Hero Mobo.
16 GB Team Group T-Force Dark Pro DDR4 @ 3600.
Lots of Disks:
- Raid 0 - 256GB Sandisk Extreme SSD.
- Raid 0 - WD Black - 2TB.
- SanDisk SSD PLUS 480 GB.
- Intel 760p 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.
Creative Sound Blaster Z.
Windows 10 x64 Pro.
etc
I thought we worked out that the problem was games that have a profile, but is missing the mystery stereo setting? Or am I thinking of a different issue?

No, you are absolutely right;) It needs the stereo setting in the profile;) Some profiles already have it while others don't;)
But if the OP is using an App/Game that doesn't have any profile attached to it then it will not work at all;)
If it does have a profile then we can tell him what setting he needs to add to the profile.

Just adding the MysteryStereoSetting to the Global/Base Profile fixes it for all the other Profiles that I've tried:
MysteryStereoSetting: Adding this line to the Base Profile should fix the Profile Saving issues, as well as older games will use their respective Profiles.
Setting ID_0x701eb457 = 0x00000001 // MysteryStereoSetting
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/836462/

Thanks so much for the advice!
The two games I know it's been happening on are Life is Strange and DMC Devil May Cry. I'll try the solutions you suggested, thanks
Also apply the stereoscopic compatibility patch made by the community modders, if you haven't done so already.

I thought about that after, if he's using the fixes they both save with just F7, which is technically what he said, if not it's Ctrl+F7 ... ?? Just in case ...
With HelixMod fixes you have to select the Preset first, change the Settings and then save with F7, not sure about 3DMigoto fixes. After you save the Preset/Settings you need to Restart the Game in order for it to take effect.

To save a custom setting, press plus on the number row before adjusting the convergence, then press F7 to save.
... with DMC you might have trouble adjusting Depth if you're using the default Ctrl+F3/F4 setup because it'll keep selecting the Preset, like you're just pressing F3/F4 ... at least that's what happened to me with some fixes, but setting Convergence should be fine.
