- Realistic specular reflections: done. - Better fix for volumetric lighting than what I did in RE2 and DMC5: done (still no convergence scaling, but 0 convergence is perfect). - I have fixed one fog effect and I want to fix another. - Vignette toggle. - All new regexes seem to be working fine now. Expect an update this week. I still need to check what Arni1984VR told me.

@Arni1984VR, good news (I'm going to upload this tomorrow): - I have fixed macroblocks in VHS sections. - I have fixed a problem where some VHS tapes made the game 2D and glitched it until a game reboot (using the 5008 flag and then refixing shadows with a textureoverride). - I have made a simple fix for all the previously missing geometry. As simple as using a regex that matches all pixel shaders (why didn't I think about this before?). I think this is ready for the blog, after all this time. The stability problem is still there, but graphically I can't do anything more. I'll put a warning and mention the workaround to have bad performance instead. Resident Evil 2 will be next.

Awesome work masterotaku, I played this in 2-D at release (Unfortunately)… But your fix will probably make me have to play through it again in 3-D at some point.

Final fix (edit: not so final): https://s3.amazonaws.com/masterotaku/Resident+Evil+7/Resident_Evil_7_3D_Vision_fix.7z Same link as always. The blog post will come tomorrow, with more details and instructions. Basically: - Don't use the interlaced mode. - Don't use any resolution scale other than "1". - Don't use motion blur. - I didn't test anything higher than 2560x1440. Triple monitor may work, but maybe not completely correct. - Vignette and barrel distortion are disabled by default. Edit: I'm going to try fixing higher resolutions tomorrow.

Fix updated (use the same link as in my previous post). Now (presumably) all combinations of resolutions, render scale and interlaced mode work fine. I tested up to 5120x2880 and down to 1280x720 + 0.5 scale + interlacing (which is even lower in VHS tapes, https://u.cubeupload.com/masterotaku/re7025.jpg . Wonderful, lol). Everything should be fine. Best of all, using render scale and/or interlacing doesn't break screen space reflections in any way. Other than the game disabling the effect if the effective resolution is way too low :p. Interlaced mode makes the HUD not be dynamic. That's the only problem. But it's easy to ignore that setting. At this moment I'm writing the blog post.

Attention, everyone! Redownload the RE7 fix. It now contains a setting (thanks to Kaimasta) that avoids all crashes! If you want to try it with RE2 and DMC5 before I update their fixes, it's "0x00b82343 = 0x00000002" (put it below "StereoTextureEnable = 0x00000023"). I'm going to be trying to see how far I can go fixing particles in RE2 and DMC5.

All hail Kaimasta! Maybe it can be a permanent d3dx.ini StereoProfile option if DSS wants. Even if it's just commented out.
