3D Vision doesn't detect monitor without being unplugged and replugged?
Hi
I posted about this some time ago and never got any response so I thought I'd give it another try.
Every time I boot my computer I have to unplug the infrared emitter and plug it back in to get 3D Vision to detect my monitor.
By default it always says 3D Vision Discover, as soon as I unplug and replug it my monitor shows up and 3D Vision works fine.
I just set up 3D Vision on a friends computer (same brand as mine) and his recognises his monitor, (again same brand as mine) and his just works every time with no issues.
Does anyone have any idea what I could do to have it work without the plug unplug thing every time?
The drivers have been uninstalled and updated many times and it always stays the same.
I have tried different USB ports to no avail.
I installed the nVidia USB driver, no help.
All my other USB devices work fine.

Been happening to other people too, for quite awhile.

Best guess is that it is timing related to how your USB ports are powered on, in what order relative to other software.
Hi
Thanks for the links, I may give the USB hub idea a shot, I think I have an old one lying around somewhere though on second thought it probably wouldn't work with USB 3 connection.
I'll look for a new one.
