3d vision discover setup
i would like to know how to enable 3d vision discover ( the anaglyphic red cyan one) on my laptop. the stereoscopic 3d option got enabled once in my laptop when i connected an non 3d hdtv and it was working fine but ever since then the option wont show up again and i believe that a non 3d monitor can display the red cyan 3d. question is - how to enable 3d vision discover on a laptop. the stereoscopic menu is not coming up anymore in the nvidia control panel and running the program manually from program files gives me an error that your laptop screen is not qualified for 3d vision, even though i want to run only the anaglyphic mode.

Reinstall the latest drivers, it should be in the nvidia control panel. Note that if you're running on a laptop, you'll probably see a serious framerate hit.

What OS are you using? They dropped 3D Vision support in Vista awhile back, there's tons of threads on it. Have you ever been able to use 3D Discover using only the laptop's screen? I'd suggest maybe hooking it back up to the HDTV and trying to enable it then.

windows 8.1, it worked only a few days ago probably because it detected an hdmi tv. although that is quite a ridiculous solution isnt it. my tv isnt available anymore so i cant test it out but i remember that the 3d output was there on my laptop screen as well. if there isnt a way to manually enable it on my laptop screen i think nvidia should fix this soon.
