How can you tell that arcsoft software working when 2d to 3d movie playing
Just as the title states. i tried to play a movie in arcsoft total media with 3d plugin with 2d and have it transform to 3d. When I played a movie the picture looked fine without the glasses usually when playing a 3d movie without glasses it looks blurry or playing a game. So how do I know if it actually transfering. I have a heard time telling the difference if its not a game.

It could simply be that the conversion is bad. I rather watch media in 2d than any conversions that is today but i'll leave it open for the future though.

I know you said you dont watch 2d movies 3d with the conversion but have you tried any movies that worked really really well. When its working well will the picture be blurry.

The only 2D to 3D converter I've used is the one by eDimensional - I've grown accustomed to the depth and fullness that it creates with any video signal going to my TV (15 yr old Hitachi rear projection). There is always some ghosting and a little blurring but after watching for a few minutes I just don't notice it any more. I hardly ever watch TV without it nowadays, whether it's a DVD or live broadcasts.
So, yes, one could say it's a little blurry, but it's not a distraction, especially since I get a whole different world of TV viewing out of it ...
There's a popular DVD player software that recently announced 2D to 3D capability, but it just twists the picture oddly - nothing near the effect of the eDimensional hardware.
