Nvidia 3d vision 2 wireless glasses kit out of stock everywhere (UK)
  2 / 3
You might consider going with 3D TV Play instead, especially if you already have a 3D TV. Part of the reason that 3D Vision specific glasses are harder to find is that NVidia has sort of moved toward more general 3D hardware instead of doing their specific certified version. That's why there aren't any new models of 3D Vision specific equipment available. No real difference between them, as long as you get high-quality 3D shutter glasses.

If you're prepared to wait until December 5th, CCL Computers in Bradford are expecting more stock. The price seems reasonable, might be worth a call just to confirm. http://www.cclonline.com/category/445/PC-Components/Component-Accessories/manufacturer-435-NVIDIA/

Does anyone know for a fact if Nvidia is still producing the 3d Vision Glasses and Emitter Kit? I believe this is very important for the future of 3d Vision. If the glasses and emitter kits are no longer being manufactured, then ....

Wondering why the shortage everywhere. Are the glasses made with Sapphire Glass? :) Why dont any retailers have them anymore? I had to order mine 8 months ago from Amazon because they were not available in any B&M store anywhere. I ordered a backup pair about 2 months ago seeing the supply dwindling. I hope its just a restock issue...but I dont know. There were hundreds of kits available a couple of months ago on Amazon, basically none today. So they are selling just not seeing the normal supply side restock.

If you look through the forums, this has happened several times since 3D Vision came out. Last year at the same time (posted Nov 8, 2013)
Newegg/TigerDirect should be getting more in stock soon, checked up on this to confirm.
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/632953/3d-vision/3d-vision-2-kit-discontinued-/post/4004275/#4004275 Hopefully Nvidia is taking note that these are still selling and steps up their game. It's definitely a factor for a lot of people in their buying decision when purchasing a new GPU.

As kyson said, there's plenty on ebay, new and used. It's scary to think they might not be available in the future though. One of my sets doesn't charge well and the other is getting a bit scratched. The batteries only last so long. Hope nVidia realize that if they kill off 3D Vision then I'm not tied to an nvidia GPU anymore.

I remember that I couldnt find any 3dvision2 kit in my country available when I purchased mine and I ordered it from UK, I was rather amazed that NONE of the retailers in my country didnt have a single 3dvision2 kit available. Nowadays I can see its listed in one unknown retailer with availability unknown ;0 and than we wonder why nvidia doesnt even care.

I was able to find a 3D Vision 2 Kit on Amazon a few weeks ago. Although Amazon directly (and NewEgg) were sold out, one of the 3rd party sellers had the kit for slightly more than MSRP. With all the new G-Sync/3D monitors that just came out (or are coming out) it seems Nvidia will continue support. I bet they are just selling more and running low on stock.

i just badly invested so much in Nvidia noob tech . Still not satisfied. They making us fool by newer technologies .But i can say that nvidia 3d glass works like that red cyan glass.Only difference is that in red cyan you cant see colours .Nvidia can exits as only colour otherwise it is same as redcyan.Only nvidia 3d glass contain one more specification depth adjustment that works only in supported games not in movies. So dont waste money behind this products.Take good gpu and overclock it and play game or want to watch movie then use tridef software which can turn passive glass mode. Buy passive glass in around 3$ and enjoy movies and other techs . Even tridef is supporting all games you can enjoy it also.

It's up to developers to add stereoscopic support to their games. Sadly, the majority of them do not even bother. But their are compatibility patches made by members of this community that make games very enjoyable in 3D. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html Unfortunately, the GTX 620 is an entry level GPU and is very weak for playing games in 2D, yet alone 3D.
