First, I apologize if the question was already asked somewhere before; (tried looking for it, but without success), and for sucky self-learned English
I'm actually running on a GTX460 SLI, and recently acquired a 3D lcd, set in dual screen with my previous one.
Then I witnessed the horrible truth, you cannot enable windowed 3D Vision with SLI enabled (my purpose for keeping the previous one and going dual screen)
I'm well aware that disabling SLI will make it work, but it would kill my purpose for going SLI... /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />
As I wanted to upgrade my GPU anyway, I thought about the GTX590 but then I remembered hearing it was SLI based, even if not physically with the bridge etc...
So here I am to ask the following question : Will I be able to use Windowed 3D Vision with a GTX590, and finally ungrey my good friend "Select when the display is in 3D mode:"
With my thanks /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

your options are wait for NVidia to fix the windowed mode SLI issue (if they ever do), or buy the fastest single card you can.

My Blog
Sadly, after some search, the most powerful mono-gpu is the 580 which is power equivalent to My 460 SLI.
I guess i'll just wait for a fix
