whoa that thing is going for 4000-5000 euro /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> if you can pay that kind of money I envy you, a lot

It's $4000 AUD *Australia)
It's possibly i may be slightly older then yourself. Generally people take out
personal loan, to cover expensive items.

Unless it's got a dual link DVI port, it doesn't do 1080p at 120Hz. HDMI 1.4 can't handle that bandwidth.

Thanks mate
Yes, i just just discovered 3DTV PLAY software works for 720P only. i was wondering why this
was the case. Seems a ridiculous lack of foresight on part the HDMI protocol, but isn't it always the case! :).
I plugged in the RS40 via HDMI cable to GTX580 card and the drivers recognised it straight away as a 1.4 compliant device. Got 720p and 1080p/24 3d working without any effort at all. Then I downloaded the rollermod INF mod and it recognised it as a generic 3D DLP but alas, it will not work with checkerboard mode.
I then downloaded trials for both Tridef and IZ3d drivers. Tridef would not work with the game i'm currently playing (deadspace 2) but the IZ3D worked in side by side mode at 1080p/60 and looked ok but needs some tweaking.
So far, side by side mode seems to look best on this PJ for gaming.

When you say support...it already seems to be working for me...at least in 720p and 1080p/24 modes. Does this mean checkerboard support? (unsure if the RS40 can do that) or side by side mode?

If this thing costs 4000+ dollars and it doesn't support full 3D vision (not 3D TV), people are just wasting money. You can get great 720p 3D with any projector, some of which are 500 dollars.
I bet its capable of 1080p 3D@60 but JVC didn't put a DVI port on it...

For those JVC owners wanting 3DTV Play support, please download the new Support Update Utility, more information is here http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=195075

Right, that's why you want 3D Vision, not 3DTV Play.

Someone already asked about these products and they will be supported with 3DTV Play software.
Look for an SW update coming later this week to add support.
