[quote name='Zloth' post='1136651' date='Oct 26 2010, 05:22 AM']Oh man - can you imagine how long it would take to release drivers if you had to go back and check every single game that's come out in the past decade on every single card that supports 3D Vision? I would be impressed if you could even get the test PLAN set up inside of six months! If nVidia wants to go that way, I think they are going to need to start charging $50 for every driver upgrade.

Well, seeing as how HL2, which NVidia says is supported in the 260 drivers, which for me has gone from Good to completely unplayable, i would say the regression testing done on supposedly supported games was either poor or non-existent...

I need too some explanation. Is Stereo v260.99 included in this driver, or ¡t is included the stereo driver of the cd v1.37 (I no not know what version is). Is the USB driver also included in this version? If not, I can use the stereo drivers and usb driver of the cd v1.37? If WHQL why it is not also v1.38.... it is tested with 3d vision? Why if the forceware inlcude stereo driver is not oficially also the "CD xx" driver? Why v1.37 and not "forceware 260.xx"... why this confusioning thing?
And why the USB driver is not included in the installation process information, and why is not included in the installation when it detect htat is needed?
Why Nvidia does things with a lot of not necesary confusions?... to justify possible bugs like not adequate installation process just because the confusion?
Sorry, I must be an idiot and there are things that I can´t understand.

I did a clean install with the 260.99 driver set and I did not have to do anything special to get my 3D or emitter working. All I did was enable stereo 3D in the control panel and then enable advanced in-game settings as usual.

These drivers certainly boosted Fallout NV performance for me. I haven't had a chance to try much else. It's a mixed blessing having so many driver updates. I LOVE that Nvidia is working hard at making things better, and usually making leaps and bounds with every release, but it's a shame that older games can sometimes break in the process. Having said that, I'd prefer things this way to the alternative of less regular updates. I just want my cake and eat it too! :P

I have uninstalled all Nvidia things before to install this driver, and I have the USB driver problem. The usb driver is not included in the bundle, and no information about how to install this. No suprise for me, as always... confusing. I "suppose" (I have not why to suppose anything) we have to unistall all Nvidia things previous installing new bundles, but not USB driver. I´m using Windows 7 64bits and samsung 2233rz monitor.

Do these drivers differ from the "
CD v1.37 (GeForce GPU driver v260.89, NVIDIA 3D Vision Controller driver v260.81) WHQL"?
I have not had 3D vision long enough to understand the difference between the regular NVIDIA card drivers and 3D Vision.
