Just Cause 2 Demo was no where 3d ready for me while using the new driver.
I was forced to disable SLI firstly, had horrible frame rates even when I decreased the eye Candy and after playing for a few min my video drive completely failed allowing me to have a black screen.
Anyway after reading an article about Piracy I realize that PC gaming for single player FPS games and similar games is not heading in the right way, soon I'll have over powered hardware and almost no such games to play unless I go for a MMO such as WOW which I have no interest in.

Have you tried WOW in 3D vision yet?
If it wasn't for the new drivers breaking the interface, it is probably one of the best 3D games for the PC. If you haven't tried it in a few years, you may want to revisit and check out all the changes IMO.

The demo works fine for me on my 295 so not sure what is wrong with your although yes, it runs slow with some options so i hope it is just the demo. I may have to check it does not have the Avatar syndrome where only one card runs when on 3d.

"Bloody" on here has repacked the 196.75 vision profiles(thanks btw if you are reading), So I updated those to 196.75. The problem is only with the gpu part. So it's all good. BF2 and JC2 demo are both working again :)

I dont really like to use repacked and modded inf drivers, not insulting the user (Who I think is the writer of the 3D Blog, not sure) but I just try to stay away from that stuff.
Well you would assume andrew would say something on this thread but it's obvious Nvidia is busy atm.

I gave the repacked drivers a shot, the difference with the Just Cause demo is unbelievable. But the frame rate hit on my GTX 275 is just a little too much. I feel like I need to turn everything else down or off to get an acceptable framerate. It's playable but fatiguing the way it is.
It'd be a huge improvement if the parachuting were in first person. The chute cords are right in your face so they make you very cross eyed if you're trying to look beyond them.
Also, the sniper scope doesn't work right in 3D, both left and right eye are off, you have to turn off 3D to get the crosshairs to work right.
I think the bigger issue here would be getting beta drivers for 3D surround, to have Triple Monitor support for SLI setups.
Bigger issue? How about fixing the fan profiles first before going of and adding new (probably buggy) features.
Don't get me wrong; i would love 3d surround. It got two Acer projectors waiting on that. But seriously we need the new profiles and driver fixes. There are currently to much outstanding issues... Like fail display device detection, and game support.
Bioshock 2 is a total joke. I'm so pissed about the promises that i would work perfect in 3d. Now were a month after the release and still no proper support! That's some good close working with the 2k devs, nvidia!
3d vision support was promising a few weeks back, but lately we haven't been recieving any updates. Grrr.

Isn't it ridiculous that now that 3d is going to get a huge boost with so many 3d tvs, 3d movies all over like Avatar, 3d Blu rays, PS3 3d incoming, etc. Nvidia seems to have lost faith in their product? A real pity, and if they don't do anything fast they will lose most of the advantage they had, ATI and Intel will have their own products real soon.

I'm wondering if Nvidia has lost something way more fundamental, like a really important software engineer or group of engineers. The problems are way beyond 3D vision now.
