Medal of Honor unplayable with 3D Vision using drivers 260.63 or 260.89, no 3D profile yet
  1 / 2
How long do we have to wait until we can finally play this awesome game with 3D Vision, since it's unplayble with 260.63 drivers and there's no profile for the game yet.

Usually even if there's no profile when a new game is released, you can at least play it with some minor bugs, but some new games like Mafia 2 and Medal of Honor are just unplaybale, until Nvidia decides to release a new driver for that.
Mafia 2 now works just fine with 260.63 drivers, but about a month ago, it was unplayable with older drivers, screen would go black in 3D making it unplayable.

Medal of Honor is unplayable in 3D, you see everything double and tripled wearing the 3D glasses, just unplayable. I don't want to play this game in 2D, so I guess I'll have to wait for new Nvidia drivers with profile for this game.

Does anyone figured out a way of playing Medal of Honor with 3D Vision? If so, let me know how....

Cheers...

Yeah i tried it as well and it looks horrid, i saw some screenshots of someone on here who had it going but that was on multiplayer which uses a different engine in this game. It would be nice if it did work proper because one thing MOH have always beaten any other FPS at is the sound, if you got a good 5.1 setup, blasting this game out is ace!!!! There's a lot of hate towards this game atm but i i like it, subtle things like the slight delay from firing the gun to the bullets actually hitting the person, and the echo from firing that massive Barrett on top of the mountain :P

Black ops is supposed to be 3d ready when that comes out, might just have to wait for that as i think MOH uses unreal 3 engine which never works very well with 3d vision anyway.

Yeah I totally agree ...it sounds great in surround sound.
I have some good and bad things to say aboud the single player...,some moments where great ,like the night levels with a nice looking moon shining between the trees, and the helicoptor flying over..it all looks great...,but then suddenly the next level looks awefull, then after that when you fly the helicoptor ,it all look great again...lol

The multiplayer however looks great all the time..,very thoughtfull good looking level design...

I do play it in 2d however..I don't mind, because it looks pretty good...
I'll just play in 2d till it gets boring..then I will try 3d.

I can't play games in 2D anymore, it's not the same thing for me nowadays. Once you get used to 3D, it's strange to play in 2D, it's very different, the way you aim, the flat enviroment just doesn't fit for me. I usually don't buy games that wpork in 3D, but I could never imagine MOH would not work, being an expected 2010 release. I really don't get it, EA launched Battlefield Bad Company 2 a few months ago which was 3D ready and looked awesome in 3D, way better than MW2, so why they launch an even better game, medal of honor is classic, and they don't care about making it compatible with 3D vision. It sucks bad.

It's not that 3D Vision doesn't play well with Medal of Honor, it's unplayable, period. O lot of games such as Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2 don't look great in 3D, but they are all playable in 3D, even having some bugs. But that's not the case with MOH, cause it's totally unplayable in 3D. I would be happy with some minor bugs, if I could at least play this game in the 3rd dimension. Love 3D, can't go back to 2D, not for games.

It's strange that Nvidia doesn't say a word about this game, that worries me, yesterday they released the new 260.89 WHQL and not a word about a 3D profile for MOH. Do you guys think this games will be forgotten by the green fairy? They can't, Medal of Honor is a major release from EA, it can't be ignored by Nvidia and 3D Vision.

I can't play games in 2D anymore, it's not the same thing for me nowadays. Once you get used to 3D, it's strange to play in 2D, it's very different, the way you aim, the flat enviroment just doesn't fit for me. I usually don't buy games that don't work in 3D, but I could never imagine MOH would not work, being an expected 2010 release. I really don't get it, EA launched Battlefield Bad Company 2 a few months ago which was 3D ready and looked awesome in 3D, way better than MW2, so why they launch an even better game, medal of honor is classic, and they don't care about making it compatible with 3D vision. That sucks!!!!!!!!!!!

It's not that 3D Vision doesn't play well with Medal of Honor, it's unplayable, period. I tried it in glorious 2D surround last night... and its pretty unplayable in 2D as well.

Game plays like a rail shooter.
1. Enemy pops out
2. shoot enemy
3. enemy dead

Repeat over and over.

What happened to enemy AI and level design here? Makes me want to replay FEAR...

Try Multiplayer, then you have REAL intelligence as enemy...

Also much better looking then single player.

(btw I totally agree with fear ,AI was great in that game...)
