I've found a way to enable 3D Vision on Crysis 3 MP beta
  1 / 2
Awesome news for you guys, I've found a way to enable 3D Vision effects on Crysis 3 MP beta, as developers have censored them on the beta version. The only thing you have to do is open Nvidia Inspector, go to the Crysis 3 profile through the menu on the top and set: Force Stereo shutting OGL_FORCE_STEREO_ON Stereo - Display mode WKS_API_STEREO_MODE_FRAME_SEQUENTIAL Stereo - Dongle Support WKS_STEREO_DONGLE_SUPPORT_DAC Stereo - Enable WKS_STEREO_SUPPORT_ON Stereo - Swap eyes WKS_API_STEREO_EYES_EXCHANGE_ON keep the botton line untouched (WKS_FEATURE_SUPPORT_CONTROL_ID2) After doing that, click 'Apply changes' and play. When you launch the game, if it doesn't automatically take the 3D Vision mode just press CTRL+T and it will switch stereoscopic. Make sure you set 'Frame Sequential' if you're using a Nvidia 3D Vision certified monitor (or a Nvidia 3D Vision 'hacked' one as the Samsung S27A950D with the unofficial workaround). Just leave your eyes fitting to deafult L/R and enjoy the 'Excellent' rated 3D Vision effects! 3D in Crysis 3 is very deep and exciting, it dramatically changes your gameplay! P.S. if you have a Side by Side 3D Display you only have to modify this setting Stereo - Display mode WKS_API_STEREO_MODE_SIDE_FIELD or Stereo - Display mode WKS_API_STEREO_MODE_USE_HW_DEFAULT otherwise you can use the Frame Sequential mode method that I have described below. Make sure you have 313.96 drivers and set your preferred 3D depth in the Nvidia control panel. Enjoy!

Either way, it's encouraging news. I wonder how well it'll run on a single 670 @ 1080p. How does it look, everything displaying properly?

No Ghosting and perfect depth if you set 100% from the Nvidia Control Panel. On a single 670 I see it hard to run smoothly at 1080p all maxed out. Just keep in mind that enabling 3D literally halves your performance, so if you get 60 fps at medium settings you will reach 30 fps with 3D Vision enabled.

"post stereo" 3d costs 2-3 fps. 3d looks like crysis 2 imho.

Seems like we have conflicting impressions on the 3D, perhaps just simply pressing the button on the emitter doesn't enable actual 3D.

In the game I just pressed the CTRL-T toggle and 3D was enabled, however even at 100% it was very shallow. I usually have about 45-50% depth in most games, and I would say Crysis 3 at 100% depth seemed to be only about 30%.

performance is damn good, however it looks a little flat. compared to FC3, Trine 2 it doesnt really have that 3D feeling. heres hoping it gets better in the release

I wonder what the OP is on about though? There's a lot of posts around the web where people are telling how "great" the 3D in Crysis 2 was (which actually was a fake 3d with 2d + depth), and in reality they really didn't have a clue how it should have looked (dual rendering stereo 3D).

for more info; i followed the driver settings at the top of the post, i set the depth to 100% in the NV panel and it just doesn't look that deep. I was using Checkerboard at 1080p runs nice though

Well ... i can't get those settings to work on 3D Vision 2 on asus VG278H. I tried different setting in nvidia inspector though, but i cant enable S3D CTRL + T settings :( Screen just flashes but 3D emmitter wont lit :( Any other games do work thought in S3D .... Any suggestions?

I tried changing the profile. On my VG278H the end result was pretty much identical in the before and after picture.
