@Helixfax: Witcher3 fix does apparently work on Win10. People do need to switch the profile back to your setup as specified in the instructions. Your custom profile is lost during the process.

@BeastRider: Your numbers there seem like normal halving of performance when true-3D is enabled. Each eye draws a full frame, so you get half the performance as 2D. Your dropping from 70 to 30 is on the order of what we expect. The lack of full GPU usage is almost always a CPU bottleneck, and it's probably the three core problem here. We don't have any fix for that at present, it's a 3D Driver problem.

Thanks bo3b. I don't get why I can never get above 30fps no matter what the settings though. I'll see if the newest NV drivers help. I'm guessing you can all play above 30fps given the right settings?

Fixed the issue by running DDU and installing latest drivers 353.62 and setting v-sync to off in NV control panel as well as in game. Not sure what could've fixed the issue but glad that both my cards are running at close to 100% now. I am running the game at 40fps max settings except for hairworks. Game is a lot smoother now.

Interesting:) That Witcher3 works on 347.88 with the Imported Profile.
- Did anyone with SLI tested the SLI scaling in 347.88?
- What happens if you import the profile in 353.62 in Win10? Does it work or is busted like before?
Also, I can't find the place from where to download the 347.88 drivers for Win10. Is not on GeForce.com/Drivers.
Is there and alternative location? Or is this a modded driver?

I don't get any SLI scaling but given I have the ROG Swift and the known SLI bug there with 900 cards, it's not a fair assumption to say it's broken for everyone. The modded drivers were only needed for the 980ti so vanilla should be fine for every other card.
As zig11727 said, unfortunately importing your profile doesn't work on the latest drivers - just doesn't seem to initiate it at all and all you get is the standard broken vanilla 3D. Might be something Josh@nvidia can help with as he was responding to some questions in the Win 10 thread? Got a ticket raised with nvidia too so see if I get any response from them on that one.
As I mentioned in the other thread (and many have mentioned across the forum) the biggest issue with Win 10 is that the drivers are delivered via Windows Update so even when you've successfully rolled back it will keep trying to put the latest drivers on. You can disable this (Advanced System Settings via computer properties/Hardware/Device Installation Settings - set this to "No, let me choose what to do") but just means you won't automatically get any other drivers updated. Also make sure GeForce Experience doesn't try to do the same for you (if anyone still has it installed).

Went ahead and did more testing. Using 350.12 drivers with the imported profile works perfectly fine for witcher 3.
I tested this on my Alienware m14x (gtx 555m) with optimus. So far this is the only driver that works correctly with optimus when an external monitor is plugged-in.
I believe the Witcher3 profile should work 353.30 drivers or 353.49 driver. If anyone wants to test some more, please let us know what you find;)

I wish there was somebody, skilled enough to infiltrate nVidia's fortress, look for the dungeon where drivers are forged and let those people know that 347.88 is the right heir to the Winten throne. 353.62 seems to be an impostor...
Games are happy - it looks - with 347.88 guiding them in the world of Winten.
They seem to be running smoother too.
I think I start liking Winten.

Well 350.12 is the lowest version I can go to have SLI scaling working. On 347.88 SLI is not working in Witcher3 but in 350.12 it does;))
This is the reason I said about it;))
Think I'm gonna upgrade my main rig and see what happens:))
