I think this game wants me to hate it, got fully patched, went into the game, turn on 120hz refresh rate in the options, screen goes black, alt tab and close it, 3.8Gb of patching to do for some reason.

For me shadows render perfectly when to set high and the crosshair renders properly but I cannot get AA to work with it. This does not bother me all that much though in 3D though. This is on the DX11 renderer by the way.

Actually... I switched mine to DX11, and the shadows seem to work fine when convergence is turned up... so that's awesome. The crosshair, on the other hand, still sucks. Just too close! when an enemy gets right up on you, the cross hair crosses over itself, and comes out of the screen a LOT. it makes it impossible to play. You are all sayin that the crosshair works perfect for you with higher convergence?

I dunno what you consider high convergence, that is set so my character is the convergence point. Turn off your own nameplate is a good idea.
I just noticed though with where my convergence is, when it goes in for a chat to someone camera, their heads look like someone cut a line down the back of the and started spreading, so if you look at them with one eye shut and then the other, you have a different silhouette in a major way each time.

That convergence and depth is crazy high... I can't even imagine that's playable. I'll post a screen and show what I'm talking about regarding the reticle.

Here's a screenshot of the reticle issue I'm talking about. It seems when a target is further away, it's not to bad, but the closer it gets, the more it effects the depth of the reticle. As you see, if you view the image full screen, the entire scene looks fantastic... except for that damn reticle!

Yeah that made my head hurt. Mine doesn't do that at all, when it's not over something it's at a neutral point over the toons head and the rest of the time it's at the right depth. Are you using DX11 mode?

Yup. using DX11. I didn't even see the reticle in your screenshot, though it was really difficult to look at. It might not have even been there, since the reticle seems to separate more and more when you turn up the convergence and depth.
Anyone else wanna start up the game and try it out after the 3D vision changes were made? Perhaps something to adjust the crosshair won't be as hard now that it's actually 3D.
