From my perspective, if you are any further back, you are not enjoying the full benefits of this display...

Thanks alot whyme and all the others who are trying to help! I just tried every possible combination of settings but always end up with the switching loop and finally a 2D title-screen (only on my 4K OLED, on my 1080p 3DV monitor SOTTR runs just fine in 3D).
Sometimes the stereoscopic-option even stays "On" after the switching loop although you can clearly see everything is just mono. In this case when you change the depth-slider the mono-image just shifts to the side.
By now I am pretty much out of ideas....

Is it also looping when you change your resolution? For me Shadow of the Tomb Raider only works when I set the native resolution of my monitor or projector in game. Did you already try 4k resolution for your OLED TV?

When I switch to the 4K OLED the desktop resolution automatically adapts to 3840x2160/60Hz
The game's launcher also sets resolution and refresh rate to 3840x2160/60Hz automatically.
But maybe I should noodle around a little bit with different resolutions just to see if that gets me anywhere......

On the 4K OLED I exclusively tried 3840x2160 so far! But up to this point I never switched the resolution ingame. I only made sure that the correct resolution was set in the launcher and then launched the game.....

Ok this is weird, all of the sudden I can not activate DirectX12 - I was playing with it on, not sure when it "unchecked", but now I can't find a way to turn it back on. Anyone have any ideas? I am on windows 10 and was definitely using it before, and saw a much better performance with it over DirectX11. Now I need to activate it for HDR and its greyed out in launcher and in-game settings.

As of right now DX12 not supported by ReShade. Ya, I like to play in HDR, 4k, and 3D Too.
DX12 support is WIP. But, don't wait for it.
I don't know the state of DX12 for 3D Vision.
I can only speculate as to why DX12 was checked on your configuration. I would guess it was just a bug. Shadow has a few updates since last time you test it. Maybe it was fixed now.

I didn't know reshape could convert SBS to interlaced. Is the image quality better than SBS without the increased processor strain of 3DVision? Once I inject the converter shader, do I still set the game to SBS with 3D off in the Nvidia panel?

I also could observe this behavior. In this state the game is completely broken: when I change resolution or frequency in game it just keeps the actual settings and asks for comfirmation....
