Lastest driver literally breaks 3D for me
  1 / 3
Like the title says, the latest driver 331.40 beta (and 327.23 WHQL) breaks 3D for me. What happens is that the left image on the screen will "wobble" anything that is near the point of parallax which causes the 3D effect to be very difficult to look at, I do not know why it is doing this but I have tried reinstalling the drivers and it has no effect. The only temporary fix I have found is to roll back the drivers to 320.49 which I have some other issues with so I am not completely satisfied with this. I have tried setting the video cards to stock, that does nothing and I have also tried unplugging the monitor in the middle of a 3D mode and it still persists. I just want to make this issue aware and wonder if anyone else is running into this issue, and how to fix it?

Well thats sad that its been two drivers, only tried the second newest one. I didnt look into max pre rendered frames cause I had little reason to stay on that driver but yea, happened to a ton of people.

I'm still running older drivers after another issue I had with the latest at the time, be sure to post in the appropriate driver support thread so they know there's an issue. https://forums.geforce.com/default/board/33/geforce-drivers/

I have 2 690s and with the newest Beta it takes between 3 to 5 minutes to change anything in the Nvidia Control Panel such as enabling SLI or enabling surround.
Set max pre-rendered frames to 1 in Nvidia control panel.
Interesting. I haven't been having any issues, but I always keep pre-rendered frames set to 1. So maybe that's why it's not affecting me.

It should work properly now. At least this solves it for me when the driver is acting weird after a driver upgrade

Latest driver is broken for me too. Even with a clean install. It is just as the OP describes. I rolled back to 320.49 as well. I'll have to try the pre-rendered frames set to 1. But am satisfied with what I have. Will probably just want for official drivers again.

It's also sad that they deserve their reputation for superior drivers. Because for all the reasons they're terrible, they still run circles around their competitor. That's what I tell myself every time I want to throttle one of their cards. What's the alternative? And then I just accept things for what they are.

Can they afford more testers and equipment, or a programmer like Helix? I'm pretty sure most upper end employees like executives only pay themselves about 3.5x - 4x more than the lowest paid workers in a company to responsibly account for their effort and what they bring to the table. Its not arbitrary in the slightest, its all merit based. Not taking advantage of the surplus of labor one bit. Not one bit. Or, am i wrong? Nah...

Nah...

It was way faster with only one Card no matter the driver. Its just terrible with beta for me. Will try the full uninstall again. I have been using an DDU https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/550192/geforce-drivers/display-driver-uninstaller-ddu-v8-0/ to uninstall previously.
