Well you may try different stages, here for me the workaround will not work if i restart the service after the game is in full screen, i dont know why, so i must restart the 3D service between the small window popping up and the game in fullscreen, i found out that if i start the 3D service 2 seconds after the small window ill certainly get 3D working in game, but this time may vary of course depending on the setup the game is running.

That's my issue as well, after launching from battlelog it just goes fullscreen when the map is ready, there is no small window for me either. So did the 3D have true dual rendering like we are used to like Metro 2033 or is it pseudo-3D like Crysis 2?
[/quote]
Not sure where all the "mediocre" claims are coming from. This game is absolutely EPIC and I haven't even tried it with the 3D workaround or bothered with the campaign yet. Maps and environments are amazingly detailed, textured and lighted. Scale of every map, building, shipyard is incredible. Chaos and havoc at times...surreal. Level of destruction to structures and environments changes the battlefield around you. Combat and gunplay is fast without being over-the-top comical like Modern Warfare has become.
Honestly there's times you just look in awe right after the initial spawn because some of the vistas are downright spectacular. If you thought Caspian Sea was breathtaking, wait until you see Seine river map....I've been there and its honestly like looking at a postcard, then destroying it in every imaginable way. :D
But ya if you were strictly planning to play this for only the campaign in 3D then wait for the official patch. Otherwise just enjoy multiplayer in 2D at 120Hz (great as well btw) for a week or two while they get official 3D support sorted.

Stop trying to shift the responsibility for truth to someone else. The truth is that Nvidia advertises that a game will be fantastic in 3D when 3D doesn't even work. The fact that it does not work isn't Nvidia's fault, but telling people it is 3D Vision ready when it isn't sure as heck is.

I experience occasional driver crashes with an "out of memory" message. Latest official drivers, 2 590s and 16gb of RAM feels like there are some driver and/or BF3 issues. Anyone else having the same problem? And btw, BF3 is EPIC, bring on the 3D asap folks! :)

Geeze oh petes people, settle down. People acting like the sky has fallen. Its a game ok, and its a complicated one. I seen the option for 3D in the Beta, so they probably ran into some development jam that has to get sorted out or something. I'm sure if they delayed the game just to perfect 3D, all hell would break loose on them. I'm sure it will work in 3D soon enough.

This game is disappointing in as many ways as it is awesome. The main disappointments being that 3D doesnt work and that the mouse aiming is all messed up with some sort of negative mouse acceleration. I also just HATE how you have to launch origin, launch the game in origin, which launches your browser, and then launch the game mod eyouw ant to play from the browser.. and then if you want change modes you have to close game out altogether.

Thanks!

Agreed...it's not like we don't have any other games to play in 3D.
