Thank You so much for Your work and persistence! As a non-SLI-user I'm especially thankful that You made a solution for us "singles" although You personally don't need it :)

You are an absolute legend Helifax. Still not sure how you can handle playing everything in 3dvision surround and getting anything near a playable frame rate. I now have 1080ti SLI and I still can't bring myself to play in surround most of the time, I simply seem to have to lower the settings or resolution far more than I can tolerate especially with the inante issues with playing at a resolution lower than native. I'd be interested in known what sort of settings you are playing this game at in surround for instance.
I'm really looking forward for this fix. Great job helifax :). Finally you have beaten Frostbite engine :P
Well.. not exactly;) I still wasn't able to fix the CS Lights. - I've got like 1060 CS shaders that I can dump. - All shaders have the headers STRIPPED, meaning all I got are buffers arrays that look like "cb0[1046]". Sure, that is a buffer and has 1046 elements, but I don't know what each element is:) - I never figured out (even on past fixed games) how the Tiles in the CS are fixed. I mean I know what I need to do, but I don't know how to use 3DMigoto to that extent to find out this. (I know from DSS that you can use 3DMigoto to dump the content of buffers and then see how all the shaders are working-together. I still hope that at some point he will come back and help me fix the Frostbite3 engine;) ) - I just fixed all the other aspects;) Normal Shadows, lights, UI (which is a mess - you'll see), reflections and so on. Still better in 3D without fancy lights than 2D with lights IMO.

Actually in both SW:B and BF1 I get 55-60FPS in multiplayer. In ME:A, I get 50-60FPS in 3D Surround in CM Mode constantly. In 3D Vision with CS lights enabled I get around 25-30 FPS. In 3D Vision without CS lights enabled I get around 35-45 FPS. All the settings are on Ultra (except Textures, Lighting and Shadows which are on High as I only have 6GB of VRAM and setting everything on ultra "gets above" this, at which the driver starts dumping content from he VRAM to RAM and I get massive stutters). For me 30-40FPS is perfectly acceptable;) This is on 5760x01080. Oh and the GPU's are not overclocked as for some reason the engine doesn't like it. If I use them at 1.5Ghz I get the "DX11 tryMap()" crash every 2 minutes. ;)) (A SLI only bug). I'll write more about the SLI, 3D Vision bugs when I release the WIP;)
IA is poor.. Previous armory is better.. anyway.. it's Andromeda and not 4 so i don't thing that we have to compare it to the main Mass Effect :D
See that's exactly what I thought initially when I bashed the game;) But, then I said F@CK it let's try again on the hardest difficulty! At least make it more of a Dark Souls type of play:) and enjoy this aspect. And guess what... I wasn't wrong;) At this level of difficulty the enemies are not just stronger, but the AI starts to do some things you don't see on any other level of difficulty. (They try to flank you, circle you, they stay more in cover and shoot from cover without breaking it). Also, if you play the game you'll understand that ME:A, unlike ME:Trilogy, is about new beginnings and hope! ME:Trilogy was about survival when everything becomes so F@cked up that you can't see any way out! Different pacing and different story! One is much more action and thrill packed! This one is about exploring and climbing the highest mountain! (We don't get Rippers on mountain-climbs) ;)) Somehow I really like the pace in ME:A. Way more relaxed and exploration based. You still get those thrill moments though and the music kicking in and you know exactly what is going to happen;) Fight for survival;) BTW, the World Bosses (Architects are a fun to kill and find) ^_^ It has also ties to the original ME:Trilogy inside, you just need to find them;) (Investigating what happened to Jien Garson - the Initiative Founder - you find something interesting;) Also, Cora Harper & Jack Harper - Illusive Man - sounds any bells?:) There is a lot more than meets the eye;) Cerberus is still around in some capacity - Follow and do all the side-quests ^_^) I didn't finish the game - far from it - but, from what I see, ME:A2 will be much more dynamic and thrill paced, after the colonies are founded ^_^ This is just as slow as ME:1 was, back in the day;) 2&3 changed that dramatically ;)

Thanks Helifax. I can't wait to try out the fix and you are right on those idiots complaining that a fix is not working... I had a terrible weekend - got robbed on a night-out and lost valuables for around 1000 EUR. So I am more than happy to relax the next days with the game in glorius 3D vision.

Glad to hear that there is any solution for playing the game in 3DV. CM issnt that bad, because its better than 2D but something is strange in this mode and this will hurt my feeling ^^ And not talking about the haloes or the UI overlapping depth and so on.... So ill hope to play the game soon, THX a lot HELI!!! I can understand your frustration about the trolls not appreciating you work. I also created mods and spend hours and at the end some posts will make me angry linke "this is useless, or balbalba...." This is nothing productive and will not change anything than make creators loose their enthusiasm. To this is the reason i will add the following sentence to all my "creations": "If you dont like it, leave it or make it better but dont complain about, because this will change nothing." OK now i have to finish Tides of Numenera fast, to get started with MEA :-) You will recieve a donation to your PayPal account after the relase :-)

Bad news:
Good luck to whoever wants to fix the game :(. It's sad that graphical features need to be removed. I got stuck with Dead Rising 3 because of just ONE shader, the last one needing a fix, because it's the most important one about lighting (flashlight and some other light sources, but not all). It's about a compute shader too (IIRC) according to DHR, so I feel for you, Helifax.
Heh, just strip the shader out and release the fix. Less fancy stuff in 3D Vision is always better than all the fancy stuf in 2D lol;))

No way around out! It's just painfully lately with so many games coming that we can't fix to perfection due to how complicated the start to be, driver bugs and finding workaround for them (like making 3D Vision actually kick in properly), what "starts to look like out-dated" 3D Vision Automatic driver, etc. I say what "starts to look like out-dated" 3D Vision Automatic driver as while the driver very OLD now (software wise - from 2009 till 2017 is 8 YEARS OLD SOFTWARE) it still holds true! It works, but with current games it starts to do less of the auto-stereo job that it used to do;) The fix is not out yet... got side-tracked a bit, but I plan to release it very soon - hopefully today:)

As CM will be a part of the 3DVision fix I wonder if this could be a chance to think about improving the CM experience with the help of 3Dmigoto. I have already played a lot of time in CM and learned to accept its limitations like halos and broken HUD. The only thing that still bothers me are its limitations regarding depth perception. Especially in 3rd person games like ME:A where You can't increase convergence too much when You don't want to get a "2D"-character. So after my experiences with the parallax settings in the 3D Vision Video Player (see https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/519393/3d-vision/how-to-improve-depth-in-movies-works-with-nvidia-video-player/post/5125243/#5125243) I wonder if 3Dmigoto could be used to do something similar in games. Obviously 3Dmigoto can handle how the image for the left and right eye are presented on screen as it offers SBS and TAB output. Could it also be used to increase the parallax between the left and right image to improve the depth experience in CM?
