Cities Skylines
anyone try it? does it work in 3d? SimCity was messed up but looked pretty neat in 3d although I had to use Tridef for cleanest version.

Bummer...I wonder if it might work with some profile jiggling however I am not sure even what game engine they are using. I really want to play this to erase the bad memory of simcity 2 but I will not buy it if it wont work w 3d vision.

Does not work, because game does not support true full screen in DX11. You can force DX9 full screen by adding start parameters to the game -force-d3d9. Try that and report back.

Just bought the game.
You can force DX9 full screen by adding start parameters to the game -force-d3d9.
This works to activate 3D Vision! Unfortunately even with shadows turned off, it's a mess.

Thanks for your dx9 note. I tried that with the Tridef generic profile w no power 3d and it works pretty well. Problem now is that my city management goes down the tube as I zoom in and watch the people doing their stuff in stereo 3d. I had almost resigned myself to playing it in 2d Cyclops vision but now that it is 3d I remember why I never play games in 2d any more.

A 3D fix for this would be awesome. You can force dx9, but yeah it's pretty bad. Game uses Unity. Maybe some hope some day? Tried Tridef, and it's pretty bad too. With or without Power 3D.

I played this game a lot when it came out... my conclusion was that to make it work in 3d, there would need to be some sort of mod that makes the game have a fixed isometric perspective. otherwise, it's only really usable when walking around in first person...
