now you think you can do a better job :)
Heli, THIS was DEFINITIVELY NOT my intension.....I am sad that you thinking this way. I just want to let the peoples know that there is a possibility to enable the SSR and get it back in the game even if ist not perfect and somewhat broken, by conv/sep changes.....never mind! Your fix, your rules! I will never post anything that may confuse anyone and I will never post anything that someone maybe feels that I have done a better Job than anothers....thought its clear that this is not a competition, thought this is a platform to share experiences. As you wish, I had deleted my stupid idea and the link from this thread. Please delete the link out of your quote.
No it's not a competition;) And the reason I said that, is that it was not done! People who come and read all these comments will get even more confused if files are floating around! I would love to keep everything under control! Sure! Improve the fix and if you want to share it, just say what to do instead of pasting more files around! This will make everything consistent and easier to understand and help other people if they are having issues! This is still Work in Progress, like the WIP you found in my files and the WIP I posted here, for the time being. (The plan was for DarkStarSword to have that WIP and help me finish the fix in a proper fashion, like other fixes before. But, I know how people don't have patience and I agree with you, as I am also very excited when a new fix is about to be released ;) So, I released that WIP just to show how it looks like and to get a feeling minus the 5% left;) ) But, now we are almost there! DarkStarSword is the person who is actually looking and tailoring this to be 100% fixed (Minor those 8bit Screen Space Reflections - which I think are WAAY overdone in this game, but oh well;) That is my taste. I like realistic stuff and as clean as possible;) DSS found a fix for those in SLI as well, so they will be available to be enabled on your own - with no support offered on that ^_^). I am just testing all the stuff over and over again to see that everything is still working :)

Sure there are some Ester Eggs in Andromeda about Me-1-2-3 (that you would appreciate if you played the original Trilogy before) but nothing major spoiling anything about the trilogy;) In any case, I would play all of them;) (But be prepared to "book" some hundred of hours;) )

Some question from here, does the separation of the crosshair from the HUD is working for you? I have had tanken the 1.19 as it is and noticed that i cant set my own depth for the crosshair independend from the rest of the UI. Only a problem for me ?? or is there something wrong ? //EDITH1: Solved with the w constant, not a fix problem, wasn present in the 1.19 anymore

Honestly the strong point of the series was Mass effect 2 for me. The first one was pretty bad in the gameplay department, but had a great story. The second one was a good balance between the two and the third was a bit of a disappointment honestly but endings seldom are anything else. Andromeda has arguably the best gameplay. (although I am not a big fan of the jetpack) but had the worst writing and a very UBIsoft like open world design rather than the more focused trilogy. I would probably recommend trying the original first if you are into story based narratives in games. It might give you the will sometimes required to push through Andromeda at the end. If you are more of a gameplay guy jump into andromeda I guess.
Andromeda has arguably the best gameplay. (although I am not a big fan of the jetpack) but had the worst writing and a very UBIsoft like open world design rather than the more focused trilogy.
Actually, I believe the writing in Andromeda is just fine! People see it as bad writing because they expect to follow Another Commander Shepard type of character. You can see this in the beginning with how Alec Ryder (the N7 of the game) resembles Shepard, by how he talks and acts. Soon, afterwards he gives the ruler/pathfinder role to you - an un-experienced teenager. It's all about new hope, new stories in a totally new place:) Sure there are some questionable things, like the "Social & Political Correctness" crap, but if you don't pay attention to that and just take it as what it is, a story driven game with open world elements, you will not be disappointing:) Yes, there are some cheesy and lame dialog lines, but what do you expect from a kid with zero experience in being a PathFinder. (A lot of people say this is actually the story of SAM and I tend to agree;) The true protagonist is your AI buddy SAM ^_^) To bad we won't see the story further as when the game ends, you are left with the feeling of the actual story only just beginning ;)

Your fix has brought me to some new ideas for 3D Fix Manager I have implemented yesterday. More things can now be configured in the fix profile like starting a second exe (like your profile_switcher). So if such a thing is ever needed again for another 3d fix I don't need to touch the program code any more as I can set this with the ini file in the fix profile. I've also improved the depth hack feature (now you can either type in the exact monitor size or just use the depth multiplier as you did before). I think for projectors it seams to be ideal to type in the correct size of the screen. For my projector 110 inches are set in the EDID (as well as in the Nvidia registry key) but my screen is only 90 inches. So maximum 3D depth is too small. Setting depth hack to 90 inch makes maximum 3d depth ideal.
