hello everyone I own a lenovo ideapad y570 i7 2.00 ghz gt 555m 8gb ram.
i am having a problem with my 3D settings on my graphics card, this laptop comes with integrated graphics im not sure what kind but I know its intel.
after I installed the 3D I went to the program files/nvidia corporation/3D vision/nvstwiz or nvstview and when I start either up it says that my graphics card is not 3D capable, when I looked into this problem I figured out that my gt 555m is not hooked up strait to my screen its hooked up to an outer cable that when hooked up to a big screen or not the one on the laptop... and I dont want to have to do that just to run 3D... and another thing when I go to nvidia controll panel it only lists 2 things thats 3D settings and video and at my friends hows his control panel show sooo much more settings /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />
is there somthing I have to do other than take apart my laptop and mess around with the cables to find out how to get my 555m hooked strait up to the screen??. a few weeks ago I went into the device manager and disabled my integrated graphics... not a good idea I cant even start up any games my friends computer is set up he can play any game and just with a lick of a button can turn on blue/red 3D but I can do that cause on how my laptop was set up can anyone help??

So I take it you want to use 3D Vision Discover with specialized anaglyph (red/cyan) glasses http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-discover-main.html
You can run the automated tool to see if you meet the requirements http://systemrequirementslab.com/cyri_if/1066/0/8174
Refer to this page as well http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-discover-driver-setup.html
TriDef also offers anaglyph as well as other vendors if you can not get it to work.
