can you certify that 3d vision (non Pro) will work on a Dell M4400 Laptop with a 3d dlp projector(acer h5360)?
If actually someone achieved to make it work, any report of someone successfully getting 3d with a non certified(by nvidia) Displayport to hdmi adaptor and an hdmi cable?

You need special software to play 3D movies (I believe PowerDVD11 but not sure), a standard movie player will not do it.

I need help! I have an Asus G73 with GTX460M and I have the drivers installed and the IR emitter has a solid green light. I clicked the enable 3D tab in programs. Everything looks like it works right except I can't get anything to look 3D. Not any games, or youtube videos, or the demos that came with the laptop. Any help will be appreciated.

I recently purchased a Toshiba F755-3d350 laptop (with Nvidia GT540M card) that does glasses free 3d. Per a recent toshiba update to the bios, the computer is supposed to do glasses free 3d gaming through 3d vision performed by the NVIDIA GT540M card. However, not all the compatible games listed in the NVIDIA 3D vision profile work with the glasses free. Toshiba does not have an official list, either does NVIDIA. Other 3rd party software (iz3d and tri-def) are supposed to work, but I have yet to make that happen. Can anyone help me with this? So far it is a great laptop, the glasses free 3d works as advertised with movies and photos, but without a list of compatible games from nvidia (or working 3rd party software with directions), it will be extremely difficult to get set up to do 3d gaming without glasses. Any help would be great. Thanks

Make sure you have "Stereoscopic" enabled in your Nvidia control panel...Then set your game to 1280x720 in the game's setting menu and it will pop into 3D.
You have to try Skydrift on that laptop! Use the fixes found here ...

I have a Viewsonic PJD6531w projector which is 3d vision ready.
Can you advise whether the NVidia graphics driver could ever be updated to support 3d in this projectors native 1280x800@120hz mode?
Currently 3dvision only supports up to 1280x720@120hz which is fine, but looks a fair bit worse than 1280x800 due to scaling and interpolation.
I did manage to get this projector to run 3d vision in 1280x800@120hz mode by using the 'Generic CRT' mode in the past, but going forward this wont be possible any more.
Is there any likelihood of an update for just this one projector?

I messed something up on my computer some time ago and didn't relize it at the time; this means a system backdate is out of the question.
I am using a Quadro NVS 285 on a Windows XP system.
My problem is that I no longer can run anything in 3D. I have tried to run things in 3D but it won't work. For example when I run Sterio View I get the right and left display to show on my screen as split instead of over lapping.
Is there some way I can go in and change my settings to fix this?

I'm a brand new 3D Vision user who is about to get the 27" Asus monitor. Would someone please point me to a calibration guide, if one exists, for tuning depth and convergence, and whatever else is of note? I'd like to hit the ground running and get as much as I can out of my new setup. Thanks!

it's quite simple. first you set the convergence. this is done without the glasses. you adjust it so that the closest visual element to you in the game is at screen depth (so you don't see it doubled without the glasses). then you put the glasses on and set depth, this is quite dependent on both your tastes and the game. some games are better with high depth, other fare better with lower values. however like most people you will probably find yourself progressively increasing depth as you get used to it. also in some cases you may have to re-adjust your convergence once you've found your depth. if you see glitches or disappearing assets on the edges of the screen simply press ctrl-alt-f11 to adjust the viewport.
