EVGA 1070/1080 overheating problem affecting all cards
Guys,
For someone that might not have seen this already on another forum. I think it is good to advise people that have these cards that they are literally burning!
There is a bios update and an optional Thermal Pad Mod that can be installed.
I have a 1070 FTW, so I will update the bios asap and send a request to EVGA to send me the optional EVGA Thermal Pad Mod for free.

Thanks for this Johnnie, I MIGHT, MIGHT pick up a 1080 if I can find a good holiday deal and EVGA is my brand of choice. Was not aware of this issue before.

I suggest installing Arctic's Accelero Hybrid II-120 water cooler, replacing stock cooler. It works great with my Pascal Titan X card, and it will cool 1080/1070 very effectively (and very quietly)...
