i say playing the lottery with the benQ because some people report backight bleeding and others say its great
wiht the Acer people report oversharpening and a halo around texts.
Pootis: so you bought the benQ XL2410T ? does it have Backlight bleeding??? hows your view?
edit: the ACER GN245 is not availiable where i live
gosh i have to decide which one......

Actually pretty much all these monitors seem to have some backlight bleeding. Multiple sources reported the Acer making annoying buzzing noise when in 120Hz mode, so it pretty much turned me away from it, as I am going to use 120Hz mode all the time. The BenQ screen can be turned in all directions and also has the pivot ability that I wanted. Also try to check out apcmag.com/first-look-the-benq-xl2410t-.htm
The BenQ has some problems with the colours and brightness out-of-package, but they are actually pretty good if you use some effort to tweak them. flatpanelshd.com/flatforums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=4617&start=20
I actually do not have the screen yet, I just ordered it and my new PC from the internet.

@ tritosine2k : Laser TV? for computer PC monitor too? is it much better than S-IPS ?
@ Pootis: they say with the benQ that out of the box it has not good calibration, as its in "FPS" mode. they say you have to put it to sRGB mode for more natural colors.

All of those have unacceptable image quality, only good for low standards.

Dude, both are the same , when Apple 's laser TV will be out you will be sad you bought any of that LCD junk.

When Crapple's new shiny device will be out we will be glad we won't have wasted twenty thousand dollars on something whose price is made 99% by the brand and 1% by the true product.
Now, if you please, crawl back to your lair. You have already tried to troll this discussion twice, and noone bothered with your flamebaits.
