Spoke with an optics major about this. I've never tried it myself. It's using a lenticular screen (much like the ones on the old Cracker Jack toys). Basically, the lens is notched so that your right eye sees one image and your left sees a different one. Theoretically, it should work, but ... it looks like a pain to set up and be prepared to cut your resolution in half. While I'm tempted to try it ... I'll stick with the glasses.
