hello guys I really need your advice I got a fourlemma.

I want to enchance my gaming and movies experience. Notes: a) I do not watch any tv at all ever. b) I have 3d vision kit and a samsung 22rz i will connect one of these devices to my pc. I got pros and cons for each choise. Budget maximum 1300 euros

1. Plasma 50" screen full hd. Pros :Perfect image quality, Full HD gaming, no input lag. cons: No 3d, image retention, only 50 inches (!!!), I dont watch tv
2. Plasma 50" 3D. pros as above with :3d cons : 3d working in 720p due to hdmi 1.4 limitations, expencive solution, 3d is probably dark like in my samsung monitor (the only thing i hate about 3d)
3. H5360 : pros 200+ inches , (i got a big living room), huge screen 3d, I get to keep my 3d vision kit. cons: don't know if 3d is dark like on the samsung, games look bad at 1280x 720 on my monitor maybe a 200 inch sceen makes up for it, I cannot see it no store has a projector here especialy 3d one. Maybe have to paint the wall with reflective color for 3d
4. Full hd projector. Pros: Hd gaming , hd blue rays. 200+. Cons: Expencive to buy and maintain, I loose 3d

don't know what to do.

I vote for 3D H5360. Might actually recommend the Optoma H66 (H67 in Europe?) I have now been gaming in 3D on a 92" screen for about a month. I highly doubt I will ever go back to 2D. A good 3D game is just fantastic. Reloaded the original Far Cry. Three words. Fab u lous!

Hi,

I have been reading trough this thread and decided on buying the H5360. This however is going to be my first pj and would like to ask few questions regarding screens /angel.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='O:)' />

I would prefer screen on tri pod as I find the stand a more flexible option. I have found a a screen with dimensions - 195x146,3cm (without the frame)and it says 4:3 only. Screen with the same dimensions but mounted, shows 4:3 as well as 16:9. Am I missing something here? If the size is the same why would one support only 4:3 and the other 16:9 as well?? /unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Other option is a third screen but I am not sure if it is any good https://reflecta.de/en/products/detail/~id.192/reflecta-Galaxy-self-locking-roller-lux-213-x-125.html can anyone share their opinion on it? /thanks.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thanks:' />

My last question is should I get white or grey screen? /wallbash.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wallbash:' />

Cheers,

After months of hesitation the rise of this old thread gave me the last push and ordered the h5360. This is going to be my very first projector ever. I hope I can set up it all right and enjoy the amazement everybody is talking about.

Well , once laser is here, even with 75 lumens, you can use pure silver spheroid screen for something like , 10x brighter than matte white, and since laser is so sharp , that gives it 20% brightness again. So with an optimal screen you can get 1000 lm out of 75 lm-s picoprojector. FullHD 120hz 1000lm brightness with picop. That's right bwois.

All I can say is, legalise it! We want more lasers , everywhere, and MEMS!

you could spin around 4x - 8x picoprojectors inside a structure like that , & stick your head in , it would be fun!

Why would you get a grey screen for 3D? With this PJ get a high gain screen, the biggest you can get. I got a 2.8 gain 106" and it is awesome with 3D.

silver is both grey and it has high gain.

If I had to choose between grey with 2.0 gain , and white with 2.8 gain, then I'd choose the grey.

You can play games with the window opened, it rejects sideway ambient light so nice (I can do it with nexnix material).

BTW how close you can get to a glass beaded Da lite before it starts to get grainy?

You know it has 10-15 micrometer glass beads, thats very small, I consider that technology to be best btw. Especially in rear and autostereo screens.

Does the ACER H5360 support 120 Hz by GTX 580 mini HDMI connection ?

Or do i need to have a DVI to HDMI converter from the GFX to the PJ ?

Thanks ...
