I did not have to uninstall precision, I just run it and OC my card then close it and it is all good.

PS I tried rFactor with my GTX 295 and no problem at all.

leobax, what is very strange is that "need for speed shift" work very well for me and my gtx 295
i have problem with 2 games that i bought, rfactor and gtr evolution, someone told me that it was the same graphic motor
so what you say, shaolin95, is strange, because the trouble is not the same for everyone
i have the same trouble with flight simulator X but it's only a demo, even if i put the patch 1.1 and 1.2
i can play in multi gpu mode with all my other games like, batman, anno 1404, ...etc.....
i wonder if the trouble wouldn't come from my motherboard, a p5q3 asus
i have a core 2 quad at 2.8gh

It seems to be system dependent.
fFactor works for me but only under DX7 it seems. It crashed under anything else but it is not 3d related...happens even when it is disabled so must be a Vista 64 issue or something.

Seem almost every user that bought nvidia glasses + samsung 2233rz have blinking problems, and nvidia still have not a solution to fix that.
Personally i sold my Ati 4870x2 and my acer 24" to buy a nvidia gtx 275 + samsung 2233rz + nvidia glasses just to play in 3D stereoscopic, and what now? Nothing work fine: perma flickering and randomly, the 3D effect turn off...
I tryed my monitor + glasses with 3 differents pc (a notebook dell m1730 with 9800gt sli too), with differents OS (vista x86/x64, seven x64), in different homes.
So i m 99% sure that are bugged nvidia drivers/hardware causing that problem. (more software, cause its impossible we all got bugged IR/glasses)
So NVIDIA, inst time to give us an answer?
We are all ready to help u fixing that problem, with test, and all u want, but we want this fixed!!!
Btw, here i add another VIDEO of my problem, you can see im up to 40+ fps... (you can see a light, and xbox wireless controller, but the problem its the same with lights of and no wireless/ir things activated)

Suppose, this problem is mostly hardware issue. Check if your graphic card is in PCI-E x16 slot, also some monitoring/overclocking software running on tray causing this problem, for example EVGA precision tool.
Have been having this problem before on Core2duo E8500@3,8 Ghz and GTX295 and had to disable SLI because this processor wasn't efficient enough for this card. Now, on Core i5 and Windows7 x64 all games run smooth, without any single blink :)
Also noticed that too high graphic card/processor overclocking may cause this problem.

I tested it in 3 different pc, 1 with e8500, 1 with e9500 , 1 with e8600, all with stock Mhz.
I have pci-e 2.0 x16 slot.
No monitoring/overclocking software, only nvidia drivers and system drivers. i made 3 fresh OS installation just to try fix that.
I wont change my asus maximus formula and 8500 just cause nvidia software/hardware is bugged.
AND if that 3d vision work only with I7/I5, nvidia should say that in 'minimum specs' of the kit.

Occasionally I also experience flashing. I'm running SLI FYI. Usually when there is flashing i have set the graphics settings of the game too high. Setting AA to 2x or none and fiddling with anisotropic filtering can eliminate the flashing 100%. It's a shame I have to disable AA sometimes, but the 3D vision is running flawless and I'd much rather have the 3D effect than AA.

I had the SLI Flickering problem on my two 8800gt's, and as others have stated, S3d was fine in mono-gpu mode. After much pain, I solved the problem. I believe the flickering is caused by some sort of synchronization issue between certain makes of video cards. If your resolutions/refresh rates are not exactly the same on each card, you'll get flickering.. most noticeably in the right eye of your glasses.
Anyway, I wrote a long post about it in my "Common 3D Vision Problems and Solutions" thread.
Good luck, and I hope what worked for me, works for you and everyone else who have been suffering with this problem for months.

Regarding the power settings to reduce blinking: I assume the option ppl are referring to when saying "Performance", is "High Performance" in windows 7 (at least that is the closest option with that name I get). Also, I´d like to know exactly how to disable power save mode for USB. I can´t find that option. Can some1 help me plz?

I have been using 3d Vision for about a week on a fresh Windows 7 64 bit installation and
it worked without any blinking.
Yesterday I intstalled skype and made a call. From that moment on I had flashes every couple of seconds
while playing Dragon Age. Tried a couple of other games / demos with the same result.
Stopped the call - blinking was gone.
I am using a logitech usb mic - so my problem also seems to be usb related.
All usb devices are attached to the mb.
I just got the 3D Vision bundle with the Samsung monitor a couple of days ago, and immediately started getting very bad flashing, stereo inversion, automatic stereo disabling and other bad things. In the setup wizard, at the step where you close one eye then the other, with just one eye open the visible shape would fade from the green square to the blue triangle and back again, indicating the frequency coming from the emitter was either slower or faster than it should be.
I don't have SLI, and this was on a fresh install of Win 7 x64. I tried all the tricks listed here, but couldn't get it working.
However, I did find one thing that worked - totally disable bios-level CPU overclocking. I was overclocking my CPU from 1.86 to 3.33Ghz, and my system had been stable with this overclock in every situation for the past year, but even a fractional overclock (i.e. to 1.9Ghz) causes extremely bad flickering.
Once I'd totally disabled overclocking, the 3D vision glasses worked perfectly. In bright sunlight I'll get occasional blinking in the right eye at 120Hz, but no stereo inversion, auto-disabling or any other artifacts. Trying to overclock even a fraction would bring back all the issues.
So it's working for now, but I think Nvidia need to look at this - plenty of people overclock their CPU, and many modern motherboards have auto-overclock modes built into them. If I had to guess I'd say there was a timing loop or delay that's being calculated based entirely on the reported speed of the CPU, not the effective speed, which would be pretty easy to fix.

so what you say, shaolin95, is strange, because the trouble is not the same for everyone
i have the same trouble with flight simulator X but it's only a demo, even if i put the patch 1.1 and 1.2
i can play in multi gpu mode with all my other games like, batman, anno 1404, ...etc.....
i wonder if the trouble wouldn't come from my motherboard, a p5q3 asus
i have a core 2 quad at 2.8gh

It seems to be system dependent.
fFactor works for me but only under DX7 it seems. It crashed under anything else but it is not 3d related...happens even when it is disabled so must be a Vista 64 issue or something.

Running on Windows 7 x64 and Core2 Exxx with 4GB ram.
Have installed the latest 1.13 drivers from a clean install.
Have the problem with the 3D Vision self-deactivating with all the games I have tried so far including Aion, WoW, COD4, and TF2.
Some games blink less than others. Aion blinks the less but deactivates alot while WoW blinks constantly.
I am thinking to go get a return for the glasses if I cant fix the issue.
It seems the right eye shutters on and off. I have tried many of the suggested solutions.
Playing in the dark.
All monitor MHz tried
SLi turned off
Clean install
The only other option I can try is to downgrade to Win Vista x64.
Not sure what is happening. Help X(

Occasionally I also experience flashing. I'm running SLI FYI. Usually when there is flashing i have set the graphics settings of the game too high. today i have upgraded to the i7 920 and the blinking seems to have gone away
fingers-crossed though but maybe its a performance thing

XPS M1710, 2Ghz, 1Gb RAM, Go 7900 GS.
I had some lights on in the kitchen and turned them off. Blinking went away.

it worked without any blinking.
Quad Core @ 2,4 GHz
8800 GT
3 GB RAM @ 800
