Remaining bad company 2 issues Anyone know how to fix them?
Bad company 2 seems to be running pretty well now, but there are still a couple issues with it's 3d support:
1. When I enter a vehicle with a graphical overlay (such as the tank), the 3d vision depth resets to like 5%. If the round ends while I am still in said vehicle, it will stay that way, even after quitting the game. Is this some auto-convergence setting in the drivers causing this or is this the game?

3. The map is Nelson Bay. Scoping in with a sniper or an Acog caps the framerate at half of normal, e.g. if you are running 120hz your normal cap is 60fps but when scoped in the cap is 30fps. This seems to be an entirely artificial cap that must be a bug somewhere because it does not happen on the other maps.

- In-game UI elements (like when you look to get in a car) don't sit right, making me go cross eyed to draw my vision back, sometimes taking a good few seconds for my eyes to adjust

Try turning Depth to 50% and brightness to 60-65.
if you turn brightness 70 or higher the clouds are getting alot of ghosting,but here if I go to 65 or below it's almost gone...
I have set the brightness of the monitor themself to 100 % brightness.
I can make a screenshot of the ghosting if you like,just let me know what map you like to see.
Maybe then you can compare ,..or even better show the ghosting yourself ,so we can see how worse it is...?!

I may have overstated the ghosting a bit... I had brightness at 100% but turning it down to 65% helped, it's actually not bad at all now. Here's a screenshot anyway. This may be to do with the glasses not blacking out 100% of the image, along with the game's bright levels

The game's fine now after messing with the depth & convergence settings for a bit, still a tiny bit of ghosting in bright spots but I think it's where the glasses don't block out the picture 100%. On darker games like Metro 2033 it's not an issue unless I turn the depth up too high, which makes me feel weird anyway /rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rolleyes:' />
