Oh my God a fix for BAK would be incredible! BAA will always have a place in my 3d gaming heart, it was the first game I tried in 3d on my old H5360 and my jaw hit the floor when i saw Batman walking together with the Joker in that amazing intro in perfect 3d, it was one of those magical moments that changed my gaming world forever, to be able to finally complete the BA games in 3d would be amazing. Glad to hear from you DSS and see you're still around, best luck to you and Mike with real life matters, and DHR each time is harder to find words about your amazing work and dedication to 3d fixing, thank you so much for attempting to finish this fix!

So it turns out the trick to getting it working was me deciding to play through it a few weeks ago, having given up on a patch ever happening. You're welcome, everyone!

@DSS I now have some issues with the tile lights...is inside the police station. There are black box everywhere. The ofensive shader is the 8dc0de7afd8669a0-cs; if i remove it the issue is gone, but all the lights are wrong. Also try to enable the "run = CustomShaderMergeLightLists", but is not working...maybe this shader need a different approach. Savegame in the Police Station: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dhr/Saves/SaveData.zip @All I also see some buildings flickering (walls textures)....this happens even without 3Dmigoto installed....anyone see this?? maybe we need to go back to an older driver.

@DSS If i re-enabled this in the shader 8dc0de7afd8669a0-cs things get better...no black boxes, but still there is some clipping and some flickering lights at distant lights.
//^added mov r1.y, l(32)
Hope this helps!

@DHR: Maybe disable scissor clipping in d3dx.ini for an experiment. Scissor clipping is on by default now. It sounds like that might be scissor clipping. You can also enable/disable on a per-shader basis.

Thanks bo3b for the suggestion...i will try today. But i think is related to the tile lights calculations...if you panning the camera at some points all is OK. Update: Add fix for Lights Shafts. Also HUD need a lot of work....a lot of icons and stuff, so this will probably not look perfect. The only issue now is the clipping tile lights in some lights (not all)....all others stuff are fixed, the Regex are doing is job. We can still play and enjoy this game with that clipping....so if i don't found a solution for this i will release the fix with that "know issue".

Seems that disabling scissor clipping in d3dx.ini helps....but still there is a minor clipping....specially in interiors where the 8dc0de7afd8669a0-cs is present. This game had many many more broken effects and generate new shaders like crazy. This is the summary: - Decals --> Fixed by Mike - Flickering textures --> Fixed by Mike - Some Reflections --> Fixed by Mike - Some Halos --> Fixed by Mike - CS Lights/shadows and clipping --> Fixed by DSS/Mike And the others stuff i fixed: - Remaining Decals (Convert all to Regex, avoid manual fixing) - Remaining Halos (Regex) - Remaining Reflections - Models (Regex) - PS Shadows/Lights (Regex) - PS Point Lights - Lensflares/Bloom (aproximate) - Lights Shafts - Water Shore/rips in some zones - Object Outlines - HUD....i separate one by one all textures. The game is looking terrific!! I will try to release soon... Really awesome. I knew you would be the one to do this someday, with the help of regex. Game added to my "games I'll play with a new GPU because I want 60fps" list.
The game is looking terrific!! I will try to release soon...
Thank you so much DHR! Read through about 20 depressing pages of this thread and it's really awesome that you guys didn't give up and made this one possible! I might not be playing this for at least another 2 years since I'm still focusing on games from 2013 and working my way up and through Arkahm City. But want to thank you and everyone else who made this possible ahead of time so long. You guys saved Batman xD
