OK for games that use CreateDeviceAndSwapChain, doesn't work for games that use CreateFactory->CreateSwapChain. So, not something we'd want to ship except for a strange case like this. Also, this is not necessary for the main fix, 1.3.2 would be fine for that, this is only for the unusual case of ENB+MO2+SkyrimSE. There is some contention in ENB over the DXGI hooks, which makes ENB stop working if our DXGI hooks are active. The build link is in the comments section for anyone that wants to run this odd scenario, I'm just mentioning it for anyone that might run into it using MO2.

Thank all of you, that contributed to this fix. I'm enjoying it greatly, now that it works well in 3rd person. Previously, I couldn't make it out of the starting area, before I would become violently ill due to motion sickness. I'd recommend to at least get the following mods to make the game look better. NobleSkyrimMod HD-2K https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/45807/? or Skyrim 2017 Textures https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2347 Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/659/? After playing this awhile, it seemed to me that the shadows were lacking. The following seemed to help, it was something I came across on the web Add these lines to the SkyrimPrefs.ini found in Documents where your save folder is) under the [Diaplay] section iShadowMapResolutionSecondary=4096 iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=4096 Make sure iShadowMapResolution=4096 is set to the same value If you have no performance issues, use 8192 ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ That helped but then I also came across this... Now use Nvidia inspector and set Ambient Occlusion Compatibility to 0x00000029 (this is the specific setting made by Nvidia, in the custum profile by masterotaku, it's set to 0x0000000) Also follow these tweaks as needed/desired https://www.geforce.com/whats-new/guides/five-fast-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-tweaks-guaranteed-to-make-your-game-look-even-better#1 __________________________________________________________________________________________________ Also note that Skyrim SE was the first game to have bo3b alter 3Dmigoto to play nicely with ENB/Reshade (Feb 2018) Read the comment section on the blog for details, this can inject SSAO as noted by Qwinn http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2016/11/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-special.html it's an interesting discussion, anyone considering using Reshade/ENB should read those comments AFAIK, the current posted fix does not include the updated 3Dmigoto DLL as of this time.

get the DLL here
OK, took awhile to get to this, but the experimental version of 3Dmigoto should be able to work with Reshade in a d3d11 proxy. https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/releases/ The experimental 1.3.2 worked with Reshade in a couple of tests that I made. Thanks for the suggestions D-Man11! Regarding Ambient Occlusion in SKSE, it doesn't render that well in stereo, which is particularry visible on bodies, so I have disabled it ! Ofc I tried it again with your settings and TBH I couldn't see any difference at all :/ iShadowMapResolutionSecondary=4096 iShadowMapResolutionPrimary=4096 Did improve the overall shadow quality though ! Bethini is a very valuable tool for optimizations, where you have acces to many low level settings ! https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4875/

Previously, due to CTDs and other issues I had from various reasons, I never did try altering my uGridsToLoad I just tried uGridsToLoad=9 uExterior Cell Buffer=64 It looked quite a bit better, but it pushed me really close to the memory limit of my 6GB 980ti, up to 5.95 GB (with shadows set to 8192) default is 5, Nvidia's guide uses 7 (only odd numbers can be used) What I haven't been able to improve, is the blotchy areas on the bodies of NPCs. They all look like they need to bathe.

I enable HBAO+ and it seemed to be working, but no improvement for NPCs, but the environment looked better. There's a mod being worked on that adds 30+ hours of gameplay. http://www.moddb.com/mods/lordbound/news/lordbound-monthly-update-april https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XyOCJ8LF8ds Also, there's a new rock mod for rock lovers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5G62qrfgLs

I wonder why so relatively few developers have seen the light - make your games modable, and they will live forever ! And ohh, I just love photorealistic big rocks :)

Fix updated! This time I made the crosshair be dynamic FOR REAL. I had to adjust depth ranges, increase the number of samples to 4000 instead of 255, put it at full depth when there's no data (the sky) and a tweak to the formula. Its hotkey (remember to use it) now has an extra setting that makes all the HUD take the same depth as the crosshair. It may make some menus like the world map easier to interact with. When walking and running, the bow can get in the way of the crosshair, beware of that. And shooting while standing will interfere with it too. This update also includes one more convergence preset, and backwards cycling of presets with "shift" + hotkey (which I'm doing already for all my recent fixes). PS: I'm really really glad that I didn't uninstall the game, because I was on the verge of doing it the past month :p.

Ohh no masterotaku... You can't be serious, do I have to sink another 2-300 hours in this game, just to test your update (and the zillions of new mods) OFC I will do it gladly, THANKS again :)

Yeah. Read the changelog :p. It's just to not bother Pauldusler (or does the 3D fix manager now automatically detect new files?).
