I've discovered that side-by-side viewing doesn't work too well with the nVidia viewer. When you load the left image, the right image is supposed to load automatically but is doesn't. There is no automatic pixel interpolation either.
I did discover a trick that allows you to open two instances of Windows Picture and Fax Viewer, though. That works quite well for dual-screen viewing. You just drag and drop the left and right thumbnails in each window. Then you can pan and zoom each window if you wish. A little clunky but my pictures of Italy look very nice this way :) .

Do any of them have image smoothing like MS Picture Viewer does? Do any have a zoom function also so you move in close to part of the picture?
