As I am expecting there is nothing that can be done about this, but sometimes in shooters the mouse lag I have when I am in 3D is horrid (imo). Now I believe it is because of vsync as I dont use vsync in 2D because just like in 3D my mouse lags. There is noticable keyboard lag aswell, but for me it isnt nearly as big of a deal as mouse lag. Is there anything that can be done to reduce this?
.:edit:.
Just to add I know I am nitpicking. I am a lunatic about my mouse feel. I think it comes from years of playing shooters competatively.

when you're feeling like owning some noobs... back to 2d for you
when we get 240 hz screens with 120h hz glasses, the lag will be once again halved, but until then we're stuck. This is why I religiously play single player games in 3d and MP in 2d.

Yeah I assumed that was the case but figured it wouldnt hurt to ask. I must say the input lag on 120hz with vsync is less than 60hz with vsync but still noticable ... and in 3D its about the same as 60hz ... cause its basically 60hz to each eye and whatever whatever whatever
I totally expected this and accept it. Besides when I am playing CSS in 3D i dont get a 3D crosshair ... was a thread on it at one time. Had something to do with 64 bit oses it looked like. Anyway cant play that with vsync on and be happy so the doubled crosshair was an afterthough anyway ... I did turn the crosshair off once and go pump action in 3d on a server and that was still fun :)
