1 / 3
Hello guys
I'm here again to share to you another videos in 3d
For those who didn't saw my post, I've found the bolt 3d trailer (by nvidia) on the internet, sended by a korean user in a korean forum (3d-vision.kr).
if you want to watch the bolt 3d trailer, download it here: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=156265
Well, this same user posted another 2 videos on this korean forum, it's the How to Train your Dragon trailer in 3D and a clip from Monsters vs. Aliens also in 3D.
I downloaded them and uploaded to several servers (like megaupload, rapidshare...)
Here are the mirrors:

the 3d effect on these 2 videos, in my opinion is a little depthless than the one seen bolt trailer..
I think the two videos need to be played with the right image first, i didn't get yet.. but the view seems right this way...
how can I know which of the 2 images are the first? look at the images below, which of the two images needed to be the first?

Really ??? :D:D Sweet, looking forward to this one. I almost bought a copy
of the 3d blu ray off this guy from Ebay for 150 lol but then I smartened up
and decided to just wait.

lol, I was thinking about doing that myself but then thought about it for a minute.... Is there currently any software that can play it at the moment? I think both PowerDVD and TMT are specfically waiting until Monster vs Aliens is officially released to the public as part of some agreement within the industry.
Wait for Avatar to release 3DTVs, then only give the content to those willing to shell out the money for said tv along with the Glasses Pack. Release software versions ready for 3D Blu-ray aside from the necessary plugin to actually do it. Build anticipation, sell for as high as you can to those who have to be the first, evalutate the market and then.....
let it flow! Next year is when we will regularly see new 3D Blu-rays being released, again after Avatar. They are also going to be converting many many movies into 3D including the anaglyphs oldies.
3rd-4th quarter of this year should be very nice though since the Holidays.
Its going to be crazy... I have a feeling Avatar at home will look FAR better than it did in the theater... both IMAX and RealD. With my screen size to seating ration I get more popout than the big theaters and a brighter crisper picture. All without annoying people in front of me and sticky floors lol
Theaters are going to have to start adding motion seating real fast once 3D is common in the home

Welcome to 2010, the year of the 2d to 3d conversions on blu-ray ;)
Let's hope it won't be that bad. Otherwise 3d movies will die out quickly. Like it did al the last times it tried to be the new way of viewing movies/pictures. Hopefully 3d is becoming mainstream now. It's exciting to see how the market will develop. Everybody seems to see Avatar as the beginning of the 3d generation, we'll soon find out.

"the 3d effect on these 2 videos, in my opinion is a little depthless than the one seen bolt trailer.."
Firstly, thank you very much for posting these. They are excellent. How on earth did you manage to navigate around that Korean site?....my Korean is very poor these days !!!! :)
But i do have to agree with your comment about the pop out and particulary depth.
Do we think that this will be the quality in terms of the above with the final retail releases?, as whilst the image quality is great, i found the 3D effect rather underwhelming and a little dissapointing.
Also, i agree with Dreamingawake about the image quality on PC vs the Cinema. If anybody has been to the Cinema recently they would have seen the trailer for How to train my Dragon, if they have'nt seen the actual film, and i can honestly say the 3D image quality on the XGA beamer (PJD6211) was superior in every way.

Have to say it looked better (detail wise) than the theatre in 3d.
Quality is absolutely superb, cannot wait until this comes out in 3d !
