Hello Tian The images posted earlier might be difficult to view crosseyed because they are quite wide. I have found a link which contain stereoscopic images which might be easier to view. If you look at an image, say of the rubik's cube, there is a star and a circle at the bottom of it. If you try to align them you will see 'three' images instead of two and the one in the middle will appear 3D. http://www.mellsilver.com/2009/07/stereoscopic-experiment-1.html The effect is not as good (I find) as stereoscopic 3D folk here are used to. 3D is a funny term. The games you are playing are 3D but you are viewing it on a 2D screen. I bet you could reach out and touch the screen without thinking about it. When you game in Stereoscopic 3D it is not easy to know where the screen is! The monitor looks like it hasn't even got a screen; it is 'open'. Did that make any sense? It is really hard to describe! :)

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
I am not trying to troll. The "Chessmaster 10th Edition for the PC" which I have listed actually has the option "Stereo 3D". It looks weird to my eyes because I got it used and it did not include the red/blue glasses. It should have come with the glasses, but it was already used so it was bought second hand for like $8. When I click on the option to see "Stereo 3D" it has like an overlapping image. However, it looks horrible to my eyes I guess because I do not have the glasses. Anyways, I could not see anything special. However, thank you bo3b for being nice and trying to explain anyways.
Hey, I looked this up, and you are right, the Chessmaster does in fact do stereoscopic. You can't see it properly because you need the red/blue glasses. When you put it into that mode, you should see the board the same as always, but as a double image, one red, one blue. The Red/Blue glasses are pretty much free. You can get them almost anywhere. Your uncle can help you get a pair. This is the easiest and cheapest way to see true stereoscopic 3D. The example above of doing cross eyed viewing also works, but not everyone can do that trick. It's a real thing, he wasn't trying to play you for the fool. Without the glasses, or cross-eyed viewing, I'm afraid this isn't going to make much sense. You won't be able to see anything out of the double images. Good luck.
