How do I come to be able to use 3DTV Play?
Hi

I bought 3DTV Play.
I bought GTX570 because I was not able to use it in GT9600.
I was able to use 3DTV Play at that time.
Afterwards,because GTX570 had brokenhi
9600GT is temporarily used.
GTX570 is exchanged and it uses it.
It becomes impossible to use 3DTV Play.

Old driver was uninstalled, and the following driver was installed.

-270.61-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-international-whql.exe
-NVIDIA_3DTV_Play_Activation_Utility.exe
-nvidia-3dtv-play-support-update-1.0.0.23.exe

However, it was not good.
3DTV Play seems not to move though activation seems to be made.

I had success uninstalling every bit of nvidia software (takes a few reboots to get it all off), downloading and running driver sweeper from 3dGuru.com to remove anything left over from the nvidia uninstalls, then installing latest drivers, rebooting, then running the 3DTV activation utility. Simply running the latest drivers and doing a clean install followed by activation of 3DTV was not enough.

thanks!

It did over again as taught.
But,the situation did not change.

This was done.

>then running the 3DTV activation utility.
-NVIDIA_3DTV_Play_Activation_Utility.exe

It was not necessary to input Serial Key.
Maybe, the problem around here.

Hi /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

"*.pns" file was not opened.
There was no reaction, and was not an error message either.

However, when the monitor of 2D was switched, it was possible to display it with the anaglyph.
The type of stereoscopic3Ddisplay was 3DVisionDiscover.
It is a satiety of red blue glasses /sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I was able to work 3DTV Play.

I have tried the following methods.

#The size of the TV has been misidentified

Perhaps the cause of this problem, the EDID of TV, because it was mistaken not compatible to the 3DTV Play.

You do not list your display model so no idea if it is supported. I tried the 3DTV trial and it initially worked up until I rebooted my computer. I couldn't figure out why it worked and then did not, until I read a post about system requirements. It turns out my TV was not on the list, but since it was added to the list I've had no more problems. Although now I use 3DTV Play via my emitter being plugged in, so I can't say if there is possibly a problem with 3DTV Play activation via the standalone product key.
__________________________________________________________________For those unfamiliar with 3DTV Play read below___________________________________________________________________________

3DTV Play is installed along with the current Nvidia drivers. If you have the 3D Vision glasses and emitter it is free, but you must have your emmitter connected for it to activate. If you do not have the Nvidia emitter, you'll need to purchase 3DTV Play to enable it. 3DTV Play will not activate unless the TV and your graphics card are listed on the 3DTV Play system requirements page http://www.nvidia.co...quirements.html If your TV is not on the requirement/supported list you can submit it via http://nvidia.custhe...etail/a_id/2774 There's a PDF (user guide)at the bottom of the 3DTV Play requirement page for setting it up. If your TV and GPU is on the requirement page you'll see the 3DTV Play logo vividly displayed in the "set up stereoscopic 3D" tab of the Nvidia control panel. Then run and successfully complete the setup wizard and you are good to go. For more questions see the FAQ http://www.nvidia.co...-faq-in.html#q1 Nvidia 3DTV Play supports standard HDMI 1.4a 1080p24 and 720p50/60 stacked frame modes.

To be clear, buying 3DTV Play for the listed $39.99 enables you to activate 3DTV Play without the purchase of the Nvidia glasses and emitter which typically cost $150 and do not work with the majority of 3D TVs. 3DTV PLay allows you to use the TV manufacturers 3D glasses or 3rd party 3D glasses that are compatible with your TV.

3DTV Play unfortunately will not let you do 1080P at 60, like you can with TriDef. In some games you can get away with playing at 1080P 24Hz and they will look good. In most games you'll need to play at 720P, which doesn't look so good on your 1080P big screen TV. Regardless, 3DTV does allow you to play games in 3D that you'd be unable to play via other software options. As always when gaming in 3D YMMV from game to game due to compatability issues, subsequent driver releases, as well as resolution and format outputs/inputs.

Thank you for the information.

My TV is sony KDL-40EX720.
This product is listed by NVIDIA.

It turned out that it operates in hardware by making EDID change compulsorily.
The same model is also suspected that EDID may be different.
I submitted EDID of my television to NVIDIA.
There is a some difference, and if it sets up, my television can also surely be used satisfactorily.
