ok so i was reading about the VR920, and i think it only has one vga input, so i'm not sure how it does 3d via the nvidia drivers exactly. maybe someone can clear that up for me

i was wondering if there is a way to stretch two screens onto one, so that if you buy a say 2d hmd with a 800x225 (h by v)resolution you could thus have two 400x225 in stereo. There are options in the nvidia drivers for two monitors, but is there a way to do this?

Read abot how page flipping works; said that, if you buy a 2D HMD you dont have one display for each eye, only one that is mirrored for each eye, then it is only 2D capable.
The vr920 has two displays and when in page flipping mode through nvidia drivers or any other solution(in january it will have its own propietray drivers supporting post proccesing and everything nvidia has failed for all this so long time to provide) it is sychronized with the left and right images sended through the vga or dvi output for that you only see the correct image for each eye.. also there is zero flicking because each display mantains the last frame it receives until receivig the new one, also because there are two displays you get zero ghosting, i have one of this and im very happy with it for what it costs.
