Decide what you like more depth or convergence(depth or pop out.) Setting depth as high as possible is what most of us do. Then convergence is different for each game. Walk up to something so it right in your face. Then set convergence to point your conformable.
If you like convergence more set depth low so pop-out has a greater range. Or compromise.
