And the link to the Display device compatability list is dead. GREAT.

Haha, came to the forum just to see what the response to that hilarious mail was. Guess nVidia need to improve the communication between marketing and development teams.

But seriously, where the fudge is 256?!

Those threads are easily found. They boil down to:

"Designing a GPU driver this huge is f^@$ing hard, OK?"...

(It'll be a bit, OK?)

Well, 256 is a major driver update. They're integrating the laptop drivers with the normal drivers. Improving the 4-x SLI for 200 series cards. Making 3d vision surround backwards compatible with 200 series cards. And 3dtv support.

I don't know about the rest of it, but the 3dtv isn't going to be available for sale until mid-summer. So at this point, mid-summer looks like the best ETA we have for 256 drivers.

Console can not make stereoscopy yet, can not surround, have sh!tty framerate, games have decreased resolution because they can not deliver.

But I am curious about console stereoscopy, how game details will have to be decreased so console can handle it.

The biggest issue there I can see is the crosshair will be in the middle of both bezels. If you can afford it, get another monitor. I highly doubt 2 monitors will be supported.
