I caught the summary of 'day 1' on the 3DGuru site - not a single mention of 3D or Vision in the presentation. Its like it does not exist. Then again I did not see anything that I'd qualify as "big" ether.
(sigh)

I was surprisingly impressed reading the guru3d sumamry. I love the renewed focus on PhysX, and I like the sound of the new bells and whistles like cinema-quality fire or puddles that react to wind.
Still, no mention of 3D is a bummer, as usual.

That would certainly be great. I'm a little skeptical that it would be better than shutter glasses (quality wise), but it would mean there's some renewed focus on 3D. Which obviously we'd all appreciate. A lot.
EDIT: And for the record, if they actually do show this, I'm predicting premium product. It's a 4K monitor so that it can show full 1080p 3D (since this method would halve the resolution).

Im still hoping its something related to virtual reality. That is the next big thing for gamers in my opinion. Currently i havent seen anything better than my modded sony hmz-t1 and that only tries to simulate big projector-like screen. I have big hopes for oculus but seeing how horrible 720p look on it, i have my doubts that even 1080p isnt sufficient.

LG has shown a 5.9 inch prototype of a 2560 screen. If that actually went into production, I think the Oculus team would be very interested. And it would have almost the same resolution per degree as the HMZ-T1. I think they would love to go with that resolution if they could.

4K resolution is limited to 30 frames due to current interface hdmi 1.4a How is any one going to play 1080 P 3D at 60 frames on 4K TV ? The bottle neck is still hdmi interface.
I fell than NVidia and Amd are rushing this enhanced for 4K.

Well, heres for hoping! Maybe 2 consumer model is a possibility? 1080p and 1440p, id pay up to 1k for that.
