i just turned my Optoma HD66 What projector should I get to replace it?
There's that Acer 720p 3d one that people seem happy with. But there's the Optoma one that's $1,000 for full HD with 1700 lumens but it doesn't offer 3d. Is contrast ratio or lumens more important for a good movie experience? The Acer H5360 has 3200:1 contrast ratio whereas the Optoma HD66 has 4000:1. Does 720p and 1080p make much difference? I still have the 3d Vision glasses and only see a few options. Should I go for the Acer H5360 or is there anything amazing over the horizon that won't kill my bank account?

Whatever you get, if you want it for 3D Vision, make sure you get a certified projector. The Acer is a good option.
