Batman: Arkham Knight - 3D Fix Available!
  28 / 46
This game had more then 1000 Shaders already fixed. People who worked on this have put a lot of work into this one. It is really hard to find any other game with so many shaders. Everybody really understand that it would be sad if so much work went into waist. People have theirs own, more important things to do but I hope they want to play this game as much as we do. One day that it will pick up :) It`s too good to be forgotten.

This was one of my most anticipated titles and after the crap intial release of the port and lack of 3d I haven't even touched it. I doubt its been forgotten though, from what I remember they have to script alot of the remaining shaders

Hi,
This is like Rise of the Tomb Raider again... where I literally had to spend around 200+ hours PLAYING the game from start to finish (around 3 times actually) to find all the shaders and fix them.

The game simply likes to generated new shaders. A "common" game just defines and re-uses the same shaders over and over but there are some "console-oriented" games that do this (cause of the RAM/VRAM constraints)...

So, unless somebody will take a HUGE chunk of their time to do this...

Sad to hear that, well it looks like CM mode is the best option then. It looks half decent from the screenshots anyway so it's not that bad, thanks Helifax for at least giving it a look and sharing your opinion.

Ok, that definitely sounds like this one has been abandoned fix-wise. I have absolutely no problem with this I just need to know. If someone is still working on this expecting a working fix at the end of the road I will wait. But judging from the comments above I guess there is no fix in sight. My concern is as follows: when the game was released I waited for some comments concerning 3D Vision performance. When it became clear that the PC version was totally bug-infested and that there won't be any chance for a fix in this state of the game I bought the PS4 version and started with the campaign. Then the big bug-fix was announced and I instantly stopped playing the PS4 version. Weeks and months later it went up and down fix-wise sometimes the game looked fixable then again a fix seemed unlikely. Due to that I started with the campaign on PS4 three times just to put it back on the shelf days or a week later because a fix became more likely again. So I wouldn't want to start with my still waiting PS4 version again just to get the news that someone has picked this up again for a fix. So can I assume that this one will remain unfixed because no one is working anymore on the fix!? Again this is absolutely fine by me since my backlog of great 3D Vision games is huuuuuugge. I just need to know because as always I couldn't enjoy it on PS4 having in mind that there will be a fix!

^^^ Lohan, the only way you can expect an answer to your question is if every single 3D modder visits this thread personally and answers whether or not THEY themselves plan on having a crack at it. There isn't some "modding council" that meets and decides "Yes, we are going to fix this game," or "No, we aren't." I totally get why you are asking the question, but it's unrealistic to expect an answer as definitive as you are expecting.

Look on my screenshots - game is in really good shape in case of 3D quality after fix. The problem is, what Helifax pointed out - that the shaders like to organize themselves in real time and totally change during gamplay. People who worked on it know the matter and if they find more time they be willing to take another look at it. It`s been said so many times before. This game is with more then 1000 shaders already fixed so believe me when I say it looks really good. Definitely worth to wait.

Guys!... if you ask me this game is not abandoned....the game is time demanding and the shaderhackers that are looking this game are bussy. A lot of work is done is this game, so i don't think all this work will be droped. Be patience...play another game in the meantime...there are a lot of games to play in 3D.

Well that's reassuring enough thanks DHR, first law of the 3d vision club is patience, I guess I'll check another game meanwhile and hope for the best.

But last time I checked especially Bob, Mike and Darkstar were involved in this one here. And since I got it the way that they headed over to other projects because of the shader-mess in this one here the project seemed abandoned to me. And if that would haven been correct it would have been enough of a proof to me that this one will remain unfixed (because it is not verly likely that those guys cancel the fix because of hitting a wall and another fixer comes along picks this up and finishes the fix). But judging from the last comments that is all unimportant now as it seems this project is far from dead. So my PS4 copy will remain idle on the shelf ;-)

Anyhow, despite the other Arkham games being some of my favorites of all time, I still haven't bought the game because I was so mad at how the PC version was handled. I vowed I wouldn't give Rocksteady more than five bucks for the game. Still waiting on the price to come down that much ;)

I did a google search and at the top of the list I saw a forum page from Steam where it said Arkham Knight worked in 3D and then read about frame rate issues and bought the game thinking my new comp might handle it. Went back to figure out why I couldn't get it to look right and then realized I really should have read page 2 because it does not work. Man did I fuss up and waste $40. Waiting to see if it ever works in 3D but not holding my breath. The game looks crazy graphics wise, but I'd still rather go back and play Arkham Asylum. I miss the DX9 days when someone would put out a fix in no time that worked great.
