Battlefield 3 3d vision problems with double sights
Everytime I play game in 3d the game gives me double vision scopes which is very unplayable because I can not target my enemies, I have noticed when I go into the nvidia control panel and lower the setting for stereoscopic 3d depth that the sights become a little more aligned, they are on default now and I thought to come ask around on the forums for help before I went any lower than that because it would suck to have to play at a lower depth than that.

First, you need to adjust convergence by enabling 'advanced keyboard shortcuts' in the NV Control Panel under 3d settings and the pressing cntl+F5 or cntrl+F6 in game.
Second, BF3 does not yet officially support 3D. It's completely disabled for most users, although 3dtv seems to work for some. How are you playing in 3D? And you don't notice other problems like shadows at the wrong depth or the icons at the wrong depth?

Yes I know about your hack, but I highly doubt he's using it if he doesn't know how to adjust convergence. That's also why I asked if he saw the problems with shadows, icons, etc...

Well to be honest the shadows you speak of I really haven't noticed or even know what you are talking about, I have noticed alot of doubles and also the sight issue. Its a coincedence about the other guy commenting leaving the link with the hack because I saw that the other day and tried it maybe I didn't do it right because I see it requires good timing and I may have timed it wrong I am going to try again but I am using 3dTV and its giving me doubles without hack. I read 3d vison in BF3 was supported with the new 285 driver, but you say its not. I read that it was but I am clearly having problems so it doens't seem like it is. will the convergance stuff you spoke about fix the problem even though I am going to try being as though I am posting right now still am asking, or is it that I am not even supposed to be playing in 3d because it is a feature that is not yet supported and if so that sucks because the 3d I have seen while playing it looks awsome I don't even want to play without 3d, I dont even play the game its installed but I don't play. Please let me know if there is a way to fix this or am I just supposed to be waiting for something to be released.

The drivers support it but the game itself is not 3D enabled yet (officially). It is coming in a patch, but right now it is not officially supported. You can certainly play in 3D if you're able to activate it but there will be some problems. Adjusting the convergence may fix some of the issues you are seeing but not all of them. We are all eagerly awaiting the official support for the game.

Thanks for the reply I figured something couldn't be right and what you are telling me is definetly good to know now I don't have to reck my brain trying to figure out why everything was in double and what exactly does that guys patch do, it says its supposed to enable 3d for BF3.
