DreadOut: Keepers of The Dark released yesterday March 24th.
As an FYI, I'd like to remind everyone that DarkStarSword fixed the first game. But!! a subsequent update/patch broke the fix and made it impossible to produce a new fix.
DarkStarSword stated: "This fix is currently broken due to an update that changed the game to use borderless windowed full screen mode. Unfortunately, that makes it impossible to fix the camera, which is pretty central to this game, rendering it pretty much unplayable in 3D :-("
So, it's unknown if this game will suffer the same fate as the first. Also, the first game being broken might be a deal breaker for those that would like to play it first.

I had hoped to re-fix the first game with 3DMigoto now that it has all the features I needed to do so, unfortunately after I cleared up the initial mess in DX11 I noticed a couple of effects weren't rendering correctly / at all, which turned out to be a result of forcing it to DX11 mode (The Unity log file shows they used a setting that only works in DX9, though I don't recall off hand what that was).
Early game the missing effects were relatively minor (hence I didn't notice at first), but they could easily get worse further into the game so I've put it back on the back burner once again - this time perhaps indefinitely.
I have some hope of extending Flugan's DX9 wrapper to do what I need now that he has open sourced it, but that's a low priority long term project for some time in the future.
