Lets make a list of best Nvidia games in 3d vision!
  1 / 34
First off we all know that Left 4 Dead, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3 games rock with 3d vision. What about other games that you don't hear much of in the forums. For example: Two Worlds runs very well and is very fun in 3d Vision. I really don't care for the game much, but I picked it up at Hastings Entertainment for $4.99!! How can you go wrong. I hear a lot of the older games look great with 3d vision. I am a big Deus Ex fan. It says that it plays "excellant" but I can't get it to have any depth whatsoever. Lets hear it guys!!!!

Can we request opinions about games too? For example "How does [insert game here] run under 3D Vision?" and such?

yeah!!!! Let's find out which games are best to buy. Some games are rated excellent even though they are not good in 3d at all. Also Call of Duty 2 is only rated "Good", but with 3d vision enabled it is the BEST out of all the Call of Dutys on the PC. I own them all!

Hi,

So far I have tested BioShock, Oblivion and FarCry1. I think BioShock works the best for me! & It'S even scarier to play in stereo3D!

About older games...I am really looking forward to play Elder Scroll3: Morrowind in 3D, but so far had no luck get it to work on my Samsung 3D DLP :(

Has anyone tried Fable?? I would really like to know if it's worth the $20.00 for the PC with 3d enabled

Bioshock does work well. It has it's small issues. Where fog is thick in background you get ghosting behind hand with wrench (almost like the shadow of hand and wrench) what this does is basiclly cut through the fog and it looks like normal in these spots. Other than that the game does run well and it adds a completly different gameplay and is recommended by me /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Hi,

I am trying to get Fable to work too, but I keep getting a message of: Warning: High VBI Fail to set, Stereo3d is temporarily disabled!
But I am running on Samsung's 3D DLP tv(which might be the problem...still waiting for answer from Andrew...), so I guess you might have the luck if you are playing on one of those 120hz LCD monitor

I haven't noticed anything unusual except in one instance in the beginning of game when I 1st arrived at Rapture, in the underwater world, I looked out the window from afar, and one of the store sign was kinda double...but when I walked closer, it becomes one again....maybe it's just one of those in-game water distortion thing?!

~But other than that, I was having a blast...but I did get some eyestrain when playing in stereo3D tho

btw, what setting are you using? I turn the separation(depth) to 100%, and crank up the convergence a bit by the ctrl+F6 combo to an acceptable level that won't drive my brain crazy~

Threads like this are great. I've bought two games in the last week due to recommendations on this forum. Left 4 Dead, and Bioshock.

I haven't gotten around to playing Bioshock yet (just downloaded it tonight), but Left 4 Dead is awesome.

I've also played World of Warcraft and Call of Duty 4. WoW is very cool in 3D, and Call of Duty 4 is great but does suffer from the "white flashing light" issue others have complained about.

I've been replaying UT2004, Unreal2, and Serious Sam 2 - all work very well. Some glitches, but 99% great.

Painkiller works quite well. Some ghosting in the brighter areas but mostly fine. Stakes stick out really nice. >:)

Agreed- I played several levels of Painkiller when I first got 3D Vision- it works VERY well. (and is very fun in 3d!)

Hey! "How does Battlefield 2 run under 3D Vision?" Particularly in a chopper or plane. Is the bright sky a source of ghosting?

Here's my list. For those of you wanting a good 3D "Movie-like" game, check out Indigo Prophecy. I got it for $20 a couple of years ago, so it's probably like $9.99 now.

Need for Speed Underground 2 (Great)
Bioshock - (AMAZING)
Fable - (Good)
Black & White 2 - (Okay)
Call of Duty 2 - (Great)
Call of Duty 5 - (Great)
Indigo Prophecy - (plays like a movie, hundreds of great 3D scenes)
FEAR - (Great)
FEAR2 - (AMAZING)
Half-Life: Episode One and Two - (Great)
Lost Planet - (Great)
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition - (AMAZING)
Battlefield 2 - (Poor)
Crysis - (Poor)
Unreal Tournament 2003 - (AMAZING)
Dark Messiah - (Great)
