No hype for Vermintide 2 yet, eh? (fix not working due to EAC)

It didn't block yours! WTF does this mean EAC are explicitly blocking the 3dmigoto DX11.dll? I also got a response from Fatshark.
Please accept our apologies for the delayed response. I got almost the identical response from Julia. Hopefully not just a typical "copy and paste" response from them.

Don't worry about it. If I can't use 3DMigoto and all it's features, I'm not doing a fix at all. Game has already shown it breaks fixes by changing shader hashes on updates, so if regex fix isn't available then unless someone else wants to port my fix and keep it maintained then the fix is dead. BTW, game is relatively cheap, so it's not like you need to pan handle for donations to afford it. Or just wait for an eventual sale/Humble Bundle like the first one.

Is this the first anti cheat to cause problems? I don't dare to go near a wrapper when it comes to VAC and due to delayed bans. Given enough time you could probably test VAC with a fresh account. As you say 3Dmigoto is needed to make a fix. If 3Dmigoto is blocked there is nothing we can do. Helix mod has an injector and I'm not sure 3Dmigoto has one but regardless it would probably be detected by EAC. Makes me wonder if EAC is a good anti cheat. Cheaters can really spoil an otherwise good game.

Good Email to Fatshark. I didnt know that they have destroyed the game with the latest update. What a shame. I had quite some fun in 3D. I guess with habe to put more pressure on EAC-developpers to whiteliste 3dmigoto in general. What do we need for this? More membres of the community writing, supporting, financially supporting? Shall we create a petition?

Definitely need more people kicking up a fuss to get their attention. If its just one or two of us, then its not worth their time to even evaluate, let alone spend time and resources to accommodate. And quite frankly, we would need every single person in the community (and probably even more) to achieve that. A petition might be a start, but probably not enough. Most people would probably think just by signing it they don't need to do anything else, whereas if we have a bunch of people actually engaging EAC devs then they might find it easier/better to agree to a solution to quiet us. This is where I think someone among us that's talented in handling these types of affairs could take the helm here to get this moving forward.

I don't think a petition is the answer. I think we need to actively harass the EAC developers in a constructive manner, and I feel everyone here needs to do their bit and try. Maybe actually putting up the fix on the offcial helix site might be a good idea and link them too it as well. Eventually you will have a game you where you get locked out of because of this issue. I still haven't even had a response from them. The fact that Flugans wrapper was not blocked rings alarm bells for me as well. Has this been done purposely I wonder... =/ The idea to get it digitally signed might be a good idea as well and I will definitely pitch in for that.

Has anyone tried my wrapper? I have not! Just want to double check if it works. if this is successful then Expect 3Dmigoto features to be ported across starting with the most important ones.

I just hope it gets fixed some time. The game seems to run in DX12 mode without deinstalling the fix. No 3D though. Just less work changing :-(

Need to look at the DX12 angle but am mostly looking at DX11 right now. I did buy the game and broke my rule not to spend money on games. It appeared to run but then I got cold feet and have not tried a lot of things.
Helix mod has an injector and I'm not sure 3Dmigoto has one but regardless it would probably be detected by EAC.
It does (not officially supported, but it's there), and when I tried it the DLL didn't get loaded. EAC puts the game in a sort of virtual machine so they can monitor every library loaded into it and I assume that was interfering with it, but to be honest I didn't dig too far on that path.

Must have missed that line. Regardless I needed to buy the game to work on it. Thanks to a generous €100 donation this was easy to swallow. The game being dx12 is just a bonus. I do find this promising like 3Dmigoto is actually triggering some signature and is detected as a cheat. It's obviously very sad at the same time but if they banned all wrappers even harmless ones you wouldn't have much luck getting anything to work. I really don't want something like EAC bring death to 3D Vision.
I can't believe it's already 2018. I started coding my wrapper 2013 which is ages ago. It's the third wrapper with Chiri being first with 3Dmigoto while HeliX being second and the times were not looking good when I started the third wrapper. 3Dmigoto lacked an assembler and was abandoned before a single fix was made using it. The assembler is a cruical part of a wrapper and HeliX was not shy of pointing out that fact and HeliX obviously had his own assembler. Wonder what happened to HeliX. It's not like he was always friendly he was quite private but he did great work when it comes to fixing games.
Can we please just keep the discussion about the game? We really don't need this devolving down into post # 137833947409 about you droning on about your assembler and currently non-functional wrapper, if any Fatshark or EAC devs come creeping to look we don't want them being inundated with unnecessary fluff. Besides, you've got your own thread for that, and believe me, everyone here knows the history behind your work and your view of how things were... you've repeatedly drilled that information into all of our heads, so let's keep this one on topic. Thanks. If you actually substantiate something in your wrapper, then great, feel free to chime in. Until then, the lack of it tripping EAC isn't exactly progress, it's simply a matter of it not being swatted (yet), probably due to it's lack of functionality that it's not even considered a threat, and on the remote possibility it ever did become one would likely get squashed like the rest, hence why it's a better idea to plea for support. If we are effectively trying to sneak past their detection, then they have every reason to want to block us, so please don't go ruining this for the rest of us by talking about such things while some of us are trying to get legitimately recognized (it seemed like that's the direction you were taking things in the other thread you created). Feel free to do whatever you want on your own channels and own time, and again, if you get something actually worthwhile to share then we can talk.
