Hey Guys,
I been thinking since having 3 projectors is getting and is expensive on upkeep and what npot I am thinking of going with a single screen for now..
I woulkd if possible like to get a 1080P @ 60HZ in 3D TV Play if possible over hdmi 1.4..
So which 1080P 3D Projecotr would do this with 3D TV Play and not have to wear the glasses upside down or wsome weird artifact like that..
I went to ProhjectorCentral.com and they listed a bunch of 3D Ready Projecotrs.. which newer DLP Proj. would work??
I was also thinking again if possible which 2 projectors for 1280x720 will work and that they are a newer release with 3D vision.. is there any new 1280x720 dlp projectors working with 3D vision.. as the old ones are hard to get/./

I have this problem too. I was rather hoping that Oculus Rift would be a viable solution for 3D gaming, at least as a virtual screen, but it's still an inferior experience to even a 1280x720p projector.
As far as I know, there are no new 3D Vision projectors. The Nvidia certification must have been problematic.
If you are willing to go with DLP glasses, you have more choices available, but I'm not an expert on those.
One thing that is different now that is worth noting- we can swap the eyes on any DX11 game now. DarkStarSword added that support to 3Dmigoto, and even if a game is not fixed, you can swap the eyes using the tool.
So, for example, it would be possible to use the H5380BD with NVidia 3D Vision glasses, because it will run at 120Hz, but has eyes swapped. It works fine if you want to use DLP glasses.
Edit: That same part of 3Dmigoto also gives you the ability to do side-by-side 1080p@60. But again, only for DX11.

The 3D Vision compatible projector list has recently added the new Acer Predator Z650 to the list.
http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/predator-z650-series
It says that it supports 1920x1080, just not clear if its referring to only 3DTV play or by being on the actual compatibility list it means full 3D vision support...
It says that it supports 1920x1080, just not clear if its referring to only 3DTV play or by being on the actual compatibility list it means full 3D vision support...
That list is incorrect, the Z650 is supported via 3DTV Play, I contacted Nvidia about it.
I also asked them to update the monitor list, since the ROG Swift and every 3D Vision monitor since then is not listed.
Well how about the projectors I see on Projectorcentral.com they say they are PC 3D Ready but could they work with 3D Vision it means or I am not sure what it means.. but the Full HD 3D Ready are the ones for bluray it is weird they still list PC 3D Ready and there is a bunch of them new at 1280x720 @ 120Hz??

The Acer Z650 was showing as 3DTV Play supported in the NVCP.
I called Nvidia's 1-800 number and was told that it's not 3D Vision certified.
Then there's this post
Hi guys,
(i'm the guy from simpit responsible for the fusion VR setup (icarus Avenger) and the Black Pearl surface (ambient light rejection screen).
The acer z650 is HDMI 2.0 and even officially certified from nvidia to run 1920x1080 in 3D (120Hz). Benqs are good for 3d at 1280x800 max and you can get even the uncertified run in 3D (i did some experimenting with it - most of it works but I've run to interesting issues with DCS and star citizen)
I've got the emiter but I run everything with 3DTV play as a generic CRT display.
The simpit warp currently supports all DX and I've redesigned the Black Pearl surface for 3D (apart from removing ambient light, rainbow effect and pixel grid + boosting contrast and color (if you'll be curious to know more let me know :)
Clearly the guy has no idea what he is talking about because Generic CRT and 3DTV Play are completely different things. ( He has no proof of 1920x1080@120Hz 3D Vision support)
Plus HDMI 2.0 or Display Port would be the only two ways to output 1920x1080@120Hz. HDMI 2.0 requires a GTX 9XX or newer GPU.
If you look at this list, it shows it as supported.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-system-requirements.html
If you look at this list or any of the others, it's not listed
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-displays.html
If you look at any of the owner's manuals for those projectors shown, they do not list HDMI 2.0 or the necessary pixel clock cap for 120Hz 1080P.

3D Ready, means that it will work with non HDMI 1.4 content.
At least that's the way I understand it.
So you could connect to anything that outputs HDMI 1.3 or via the VGA input and still obtain a DLP Link flash to work with Frame Sequential stereoscopic content.
This doesn't always translate into working with 3D Vision via an EDID override. It's possible for the projector to have certain resolutions and refresh rates blocked out in their software. In which case you get a blank screen with a warning saying something like "out of range". LG projectors are known for having these restrictions.

D-Man read the link the top ones Full HD 3D are for bluray 3D the PC 3D ready are supposed to work with a Pc and are 120HZ capable they are different.. the thing I don't know is if it means it is 3D Vsion ready..
FullHD 3D Rerady 1.4 hdmi
PC 3D Ready they work with PC's and are 120HZ capable.. look at the link.. ;)

@D-Man11, ya, been following you and this topic on the PJ's for years! I've been looking at the manuals too, so I went and bought another bulb for my H5360...
DSR at 1440p (per RAGEdemon post), works great.
Appreciate the info you and the other post here :-)

Full HD 3D simply means HDMI 1.4 support.
Full HD 3D works with PC and Nvidia's stereoscopic drivers via HDMI 1.4/3DTV Play.
Games with "native stereoscopic support" will also work via HDMI 1.4 on compliant displays.
Also 3rd party software, such as PowerDVD Ultra or WinDVD Pro will work via HDMI 1.4 on compliant devices.

Reread, the post above. "PC Ready" does not mean that it supports resolutions that 3D Vision supports.
In other words, if you try 1280x720, it might not work.
Well I just thought there was a small chance the PC Ready would work with 3D vision.. I need to have 2 Projectors for surround.. I don't want to single screen it but will if I have too ;) thnx..
