Well the 3d is certainly amazing. only issue i have is that i cant set convergence very high as it turns the menus and ic-car view really messed up. if only there was somesetting like the witcher 2 where u can adjust the convergence for things closer separately.

Wow! What a difference that made! I have been enjoying Dirt3 in S3D since release with the same tweaks as everyone else but had to balance with 2d gameplay for night driving. Nvidia/Codemasters... great job in working together to truly turn this into a "killer app" for S3D gaming on the PC! Menu convergence is still a bit of an issue but in game is near perfect on my 720P projector. The only thing i would like to see added at this point is a "Content Creation Pack" that would allow recording and uploading to youtube of game footage in S3D to include full camera control. That would be sweet! Nice work again and lets keep it up!

So after much trying, I am unable to (a) take 3d screenshots (they are all multi-coloured and corrupted) or (b) record this game using FRAPS. Which is a shame since it now looks so good, and it would be nice to let others see this. I tried different versions of FRAPS and different graphical settings. I can record other games fine, so I guess there is a residual 'bug' in there that will need ironing out. In the meantime, I'm having a blast playing this :-)

I have the same problem. Got a gtx 280, so maybe not supporting dx11 is the problem. Dx9 still working. Been going through all the xml files trying to find a solution, but no luck so far.

Wow, I just got this game, only because it playes good in 3D. Not that I haven't played or loved Dirt 1 & 2, because I did. But I heard some guy from Codemasters say that they where not interested in supporting S3D, I lost interest. But now the game works, and in DX 11, it looks amazing. Not a perfect 10, but really close.
I guess EA has absolutely no plans on doing any thing further with Shift 2 and 3D. So I think I'll delete that game off my hard drive.

Just realized that the 3D Vision fix is only done for the DX11 path and that 3D in DX11 does not work on a GTX280.
After forcing DX9 via the Dirt configuration file, 3D also works on a GTX280, but suffers from the same old problems like before.
Conclusion: For the DX9 render path, the TriDef 3D driver is a better choice.
For a GTX480 or newer and the DX11 render path, 3D Vision is by far the best choice.
Seriously mad props for making this happen Nvidia and Codies - we need more of this. I'm stoked to see a developer that was on record as saying they don't see the point in 3D turn around and see the ENTIRE point of 3D. Chuffed to bits. Thanks to all involved in making this happen!

Game will update itself when you`ll log on to Steam. You have to play on DX11 to get all 3D Vision Support (correct one).
