Game you wish you could play in perfect 3D?

+1 for Riddick games. They have been forgotten sadly, it always made me sad when people used to choose Doom 3 over it. Its definetly by far the best game on the ID engine by far. It had something for everyone. I still think ID engine has great lighting/shadows still. The stealth elements made you still your breath and pick your moments. ID engine was built for either survival horror/stealth imo unfortunately they went shooter route.

id Tech 4 ... :drool; That might be my favorite engines of all time ... Doom III, Riddick, Prey & Quake 4. It was just such a solid engine, lighting, shadows & the way they could modify the actual level. ie Demons tearing through the walls and the shadows would change as well, everything was being rendered. How many engines have you seen where if a door is closed the light still shines through as if it were still open? That's because they're taking the easy way out and prerendering the lighting in the map. Something id had already done in id Tech 3. The Unreal engine may be everywhere and used on a lot of games I like but I still don't like that engine at all, it's not solid at all ... not on consoles anyway. I loved Gears of War but textures wouldn't even be loaded in half the time when levels and cutscenes start. And don't get me started on the blobs of light, just random blobs of light ... no light source just blobs.

Big time deviation from all these FPS's listed here, but I really wish Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed was 3D compatible. The last NFS series game that worked was Undercover, and it sadly was a pretty lame game.

Yeah, The Suffering and the sequel, The Ties That Bind are both good exciting and scary games. I played them in 3D a few years ago using the IZ3D driver and my Sony GDM-FW900 CRT monitor, and it was awesome. The graphics should still hold up pretty well, especially with 3D added to the equation.

A bit off topic but all those bound corpses in Tomb Raider really remind me of Silent Hill. Which reminds me of the ef'd up enemies in The Suffering and Jericho ... which I guess really isn't that off topic after all. Need more ef'd up 3D horror games!

Thanks ricardokung!! i will try tonight. I also have to download the patch 1.1 or works with 1.0 version of the game? I see the screenshots in 3Dgamingsolutions website (looks great btw) and the crosshair its 2D, so if i make the game works in 3D i will fix that crosshair (make it 3D) for perfect aiming. Thanks!!

Thanks ricardokung! Yesterday i play a little "The Suffering" in 3D, i found the following issues in 3D (btw its playable even with this issues): - Smoke/Vapor 2D - Minor Lights render only in 1 eye - Crosshair 2D. The bad news its with Helix debuger i cant find the shaders related to those issues, so i cant fix it (i try all DLL version, even last one). The Game looks great for an 9 years old game and 3D sense its nice, weak point its textures....monster in this game are really creepy. I make a Sweetfx profile for this game that improve visual a little and xpadder dont work with this game (today i will try joytokey). Yesterday playing The Suffering (I got nostalgic) also remember a very very very old game (1994) called "Ecstatica"....was my first horror game (amazing game), i still have the CD and cover untouched, its a MS-DOS game so impossible to play in windows 7 and impossible to play it in 3D, but will be nice to play it in 3D :)
Remember Me, this would look so good in 3D! http://www.ign.com/videos/2013/02/14/remember-me-video-preview
Whoa! This looks totally sweet! Is this coming for PC? I'm asking because the video seemed to show Playstation controls, but according to the wiki page it is for all platforms. (I can't really get to most video game sites as I am at work.)
