Sorry to be a pain...fixed a number of things using the 2d->3d shader fix. However I got one thats giving me trouble. Will you look at this? I fixed the crosshair + removed some shaders from hunted just need to fix a texture to drop a release.
Also gonna start moving everything(files/etc) to wiki especially since forums went down for a while(and uploading isnt working right either). I really think this is pretty much the future of 3D with 3d vision. Don't want the forums to go down or something and we lose everything. So thought it was a good idea to start a back up before I have a mountain of work. Will give wiki access to contributors. PM me your wiki account names(if you want). You don't have to anything if you don't want to just post here when a file is changed. I will be monitoring.May attach 3D images(silverlight) at a later date.
Update:Done. Everything looks good. When/if a new release(d3d9.dll) is released it will update all pages. Didn't change skyrims link cause its so nicely done and I am not worried about that hosting going down compared to nvidia forums.
To people who downloaded fixes for mass effect 2+darkness 2(recently). Redl them. Apparently I kinda messed up the folder layout.

Sorry for being a pain in the a** but how exactly do I apply these fixes for The Darkness 2 (which file goes where basically)? Do I put the d9d3.dll where the exe is but where do I put these two you attached here ( are these even the ones for The Darkness 2)?
EDIT: OK, sorry for being such an idiot. I went and signed in to the Wiki you created and there's all the info needed for every game which has been fixed and how to apply those fixes. I just would like to once more thank you HeliX for being such an awesome person and helping us all out with these numerous 3d issues!

I wasn't planning on messing with this because its just a demo and Nvidia may still be working on a 3D Vision solution, but I was messing with Mass Effect 2 and got some decent results so figured why not. May be a good backup plan if 3D Vision support falls through on launch.
Anyways, solid results, there's still some issues mainly due to fog and transparencies. I went ahead and threw in the 2 blanked textures eqzitara made as well. The real benefit is the 3D crosshairs, lots of fun with all the dynamic contextual stuff going on. I actually like the gunplay so far in this ME compared to the first two. A lot more like an FPS with how the weapons handle.
And I don't mind at all eqzitara, its all HeliX's original code anyways.

Hi! I tried this..but for me the game crashes everytime I try to launch it... Maybe it has to do with my SLI setup? I have disabled 3D when game starts, Origin ingame thingy, even put the game on 1 screen res... No go...
I see that if I remove the ShaderOveride folder it does work (but ofc no fixes inside) So I ask...what could be the problem? One what setup does it work for you?

try closing afterburner or similar programs.
Right!!! I will try with this also;)) Forgot that Afterburner is running in the background:))

@joohan its cool. Let me know if you run into any issues since I revised the download then uninstalled. The I realized I screwed up on the folders in darkness 2.
I dont use afterburner does it effect everything game or just certain ones? So I can write a quick little note.

Looks like Kingping helped you figured out the AfterBurner issue.
From my experience it seems as if:
1) Debug.dll has more issues with AfterBurner than Release.dll, mainly debug text and AB OSD do not get along at all so its either or even if you choose compat mode in OSD options. If you enabled AfterBurner OSD, you may have to disable it, then close AfterBurner to end the process, then open it again to get the basic temp/fan controls with no OSD function. Release.dll seems much more compatible overall, no issues running OSD + HeliX mods.
2) AfterBurner seems like its having issues with UE3 games in general right now. Meaning 1-2FPS slideshow. I personally verified this with Alice and ME3 but wasn't sure if it was combo of HeliX debug + AB or what. I did a bit of digging and it sounds like it is an AB issue in general. I'm sure Unwinder will get it figured out, he always does. :)
3) There's a bunch of weird stuff going on right now with the PhysX runtimes and game compatibility. Most UE3 games use PhysX even if its just the software libraries, so if you are using .1111 originally published with the 295.xx drivers you need to grab a different PhysX version, either from 290.xx or the redistributed version with the 295.xx re-release.
So it is probably 3 different issues I've seen in the past month or so with UE3/HeliX mod/Afterburner, I don't think the 2nd one is fully related to HeliX mod, 3rd one not at all.

It depends.. For me it doesn't interfere with games like Kingdoms of Amalur, but I see it crashes Mass Effect 3 if it is used in the background. Killing Afterburner prior to launching the game doesn't create any problems:)

Erased my spam. Was solved by helix. Ty. Was the strangest thing it would work in game for 10 secs then bam revert.
I will start to read http://developer.nvidia.com/node/76
before I fix any more issues. Modifying one code to the next works alot of time for the simpler stuff but whenever you run into something new you go..huh?

Sorry for my bad english but It's not my native language.. Finally I've found some time to fix Skydrift! I've fixed Hud and pilots' names. Then I've blanked the vertex shader that caused bad water effects. Now I'm trying to solve water reflection/refraction issues instead of removing them, but I'd like to learn how to do that..
Edit: I've also edited some pixel shaders adding some transparency to the hud and pilots' names becouse I think it allows to see better.

TY mana! its so good to see more people attempting. I am hopeful for a day when many people are capable of fixing shaders and I can just maintain wiki = ) . I haven't messed around with refraction. Im strange and it doesnt bother me as much as others and been trying to learn other things from studying code....instead of actually learning what the code means lol. I will see if I can sift through fixes made by helix to see if I can find water refraction code thats been solved. It may/may not help you but you never know.
Update
Ah here it is...sifting through code does have its advantages. Gave me a good excuse to add both to wiki as future examples/references http://helixmod.wikispot.org/Coding_Fixed_Issues.
Also added you to the wiki http://helixmod.wikispot.org/Skydrift

Skydrift is PERFECT now! This game ROX!!!
Thank you sooo much!
I am standing 2 feet away from a 50 in. Panasonic with Depth at MAX and it it so much fun playing this game...I have not adjusted the convergence yet as the nvidia profile seems to have it perfect by default.
I like how you moved the HUD and transparency...Very nice.
Nvidia please add this to the 3D Vision Ready category now!

Nvidia would never support this :P. Their policy no user intervention. Which is probably why this thread is not stickied but battlefield 3 is -_-
I didnt know it was this nice. I will move it to the the fixed games section.
Missed the part about transparency. Would love to hear a more detail guide on how you made pixel shaders more transparent. This would benefit a great many things.

It is sooo cool when you are on level 2, first race...The canyon starts exploding and the chunks fly at your plane...sooo awesome. Guns and missiles are great looking with max depth
Can you fix Choplifter HD ? It is already great fun but there are a few things that stay at screen depth (explosions ect.)

I think that I have to solve water problems before it can go in fixed ones... I could read what you posted on fixing reflection, maybe I can fix this too. For the transparency part is really easy, the original code was:

I think that I have to solve water problems before it can go in fixed ones... I could read what you posted on fixing reflection, maybe I can fix this too. For the transparency part is really easy, the original code was:
ps_3_0
dcl_texcoord_pp v0.xy
dcl_2d s0
texld_pp r0, v0, s0
mov_pp r1, c70
mad_pp oC0, r0, r1, c71
I've declared a constant vector with alpha channel at 50% and I've subtracted it to ColorTransform this way:
ps_3_0
def c220, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, -0.5
dcl_texcoord_pp v0.xy
dcl_2d s0
texld_pp r0, v0, s0
mov_pp r1, c70
mov_pp r2, c71
add_pp r2.w, r2.w, c220.w
mad_pp oC0, r0, r1, r2

Mass Effect 3 Demo

I dont use afterburner does it effect everything game or just certain ones? So I can write a quick little note.

@joohan its cool. Let me know if you run into any issues since I revised the download then uninstalled. The I realized I screwed up on the folders in darkness 2.
I dont use afterburner does it effect everything game or just certain ones? So I can write a quick little note.

It depends.. For me it doesn't interfere with games like Kingdoms of Amalur, but I see it crashes Mass Effect 3 if it is used in the background. Killing Afterburner prior to launching the game doesn't create any problems:)

I will start to read http://developer.nvidia.com/node/76
before I fix any more issues. Modifying one code to the next works alot of time for the simpler stuff but whenever you run into something new you go..huh?

Helix mod 3d vision game fixes
Sorry for my bad english but It's not my native language.. Finally I've found some time to fix Skydrift! I've fixed Hud and pilots' names. Then I've blanked the vertex shader that caused bad water effects. Now I'm trying to solve water reflection/refraction issues instead of removing them, but I'd like to learn how to do that..
TY mana! its so good to see more people attempting.

Nvidia would never support this :P. Their policy no user intervention. Which is probably why this thread is not stickied but battlefield 3 is -_-

I think that I have to solve water problems before it can go in fixed ones... I could read what you posted on fixing reflection, maybe I can fix this too. For the transparency part is really easy, the original code was:
ps_3_0
dcl_texcoord_pp v0.xy
dcl_2d s0
texld_pp r0, v0, s0
mov_pp r1, c70
mad_pp oC0, r0, r1, c71
I've declared a constant vector with alpha channel at 50% and I've subtracted it to ColorTransform this way:
ps_3_0
def c220, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0, -0.5
dcl_texcoord_pp v0.xy
dcl_2d s0
texld_pp r0, v0, s0
mov_pp r1, c70
mov_pp r2, c71
add_pp r2.w, r2.w, c220.w
mad_pp oC0, r0, r1, r2
