Cycle Frustum Settings?
You can find this setting in nvidia's control panel. So what is cycle frustum and how can it enhance the 3D experience?

It just alters the screen size for me, from 4:3 - 16-9 and 16-10

I was wondering what it does. Most of the other settings in the Nvidia control panel let you click the mouse over them and give you an indication of what it does. Doesn't work with the 3d settings. That's something for Nvidia to work on.

Frustrum is Latin for "a piece broken off". In the context of the 3D Vision drivers the setting is used to deal with the issue of polygons at the edge of the screen being prematurely culled, generally resulting in flickering black triangles at the extreme left or right of the screen (e.g. in Lock On: Modern Air Combat). IIRC there are 3 settings which can be cycled through using the assigned keys, normally one of the three will fix the problem. If your game doesn't have the problem in the first place, then you don't need to adjust anything.
Cheers,

Can you lock the setting to the most expanded one? Because that would be handy in a number of games. Take for instance Assassins Creed or the Witcher 3 it's great in free roam, until you get off your horse or look into your inventory and it resets. Basically any game that resets it, it would be handy to have a lock in place on the mode until you changed it back.

when I read the thread title I thought there may be a way to control the frustrum size (width) - that would be really useful. Stretching the image does solve graphical artefacts in some games (light blue colour rendering red in Dark Souls 3, missing polygons in borders in Tomb Raider Anniversary) but it also distorts the overall image, making the characters too fat and pushing the HUD too close to the edge of the screen. It would be great to just be able to stretch 25% of the width, or something similar.

Stretching is horrible. The Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2 had that setting enabled by default. It doesn't even stretch in a smooth way. It's aliased shit. I prefer missing geometry or cut black borders.
