I have this exact same issue. No one ever posted a fix so I guess this just went away, but it's back. Suggestions?
I rarely play with 3d vision on but I always want lightboost on while playing games which is how it's supposed to work and was working for about a week, but now i get horrible frame rates with i turn off 3d vision in game. For me i simply have to unplug my ir emitter after the game has started to get my fps back with light boost enabled but this becomes a problem in bf4 because when the map reloads it no long sees my emitter and turns off light boost on my asus vg278he dropping me from the 100fps i want to 60.. blah.
I always want light boost on, yet i want to have the option of gaming with 3d vision or not without it killing my fps when it's off. I have to admit having been using 3d vision from day one on the fastest CRT's, my 3d vision dlp projector and now my new asus monitor they have really improved 3d with the addition of light boost on monitors. Now if only they could sort out their drivers for it when it's turned off but still enabled in Nconsole.

Same thing here and there should be easier way to disable/enable it. Now I keep Nvidia Control Panel always open.

The only way to save myself some pain is to turn the actual services on and off
Hope this gets adressed
