It's not out until tomorrow, so probably not. The reviews are positively glowing though, and the previous one was an outstanding game that looked great after it was fixed. I'm really hoping someone's able to take a look at this one. You know the devs are confident when the review embargo lifts a week before the game's release.

It has a few issues in 3D. The game uses the Unreal engine BTW. Going to enjoy this in 2D though; I don't find 3D does much for games with a birds eye view. Attached pics taken with AA->FXAA and Shadows->Low.

Really? I find isometric type games are one of the best uses of 3d, especially with correct use of Convergence to create "toyification". Original Xcom was great in this regard.

Muzzleflash !! The other guys are completely right ! Your convergence setting is far to low, toyification is a must here.. Also many small issues can be ironed out when you turn up the convergence, fx. the 2D lights and name plates..

I don't like this type of games.....BUT, if the games is still UE3 and DX9, you can use "lua script" from helix. I think this game is 64bits. If i remember well helix release a DX9 64 bits version of the wrapper, so you have to change the dll. For test: - Use the XCOM fix and remove the Shader fixes folder - Replace the dll (32bits) for a 64 bits dll - Also you can try different lua script files from here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dhr/LUA_OPTIONS.zip

To play before fix or not...that is the question. I only bought the first XCOM because it was fixed in 3D and it turned out to be one of the best games ever. Really looking forward to this one!

Played X-Com AU because i know and played the original one on a intel 286 and this was a realy grat game. The remastered one did make this feeling come back and xcom2 is predestinated to do the same. First part was relay ok in 2D because 3D was not as present for me as today. But i am sure i will play part 2 even without 3D but you 3D guys will make some impressive impact if you will fix it ^^

Perfect CM using this flag: "Setting ID_0x709adada = 0x37f5825a InternalSettingFlag=V0" I will check if thete is a flag with UI in depth, this is the onlyest thing what is left. Never saw such a good CM. No haloes no wrong effects, its kile real 3D!! //EDIT 1: You can use This for UI not @ screen depth. But Mouse is still @ screen depth, and this game did not support controller so....brain fuck!! Setting ID_0x709adada = 0x37f58257 InternalSettingFlag=V0 //Edit 2: BTW the game is not using the d3d9.dll so its dx 11
