I've done some browsing and searching to answer my question, but I haven't been able to find anything as yet.
I received my M17x R3 laptop today which is ready and raring to go in 3D. To test it out, I've installed Just Cause 2, but I just can't seem to get the game to run in 3D. I can't find anything in the settings, turning on the glasses doesn't do anything, and enabling 3D in the start menu also does nothing.
All I'm after is a little guidance as to how to enable 3D in gaming. I've run the 3D setup wizard without a hitch :)

Hi
Can you start off my looking at what drivers are installed on your PC? You can find that under NVIDIA Control Panel > System Information.

The current driver is 266.08. I've tried downloading the latest drivers from the nvidia website, however I get an error message stating that no hardware was detected on the laptop. I think I need to download the drivers directly from the Dell support site, but 266.08 is the only one they have listed.

NVIDIA Control Panel-> Stereoscopic 3D, enable it. Set it up, problem solved.
EDIT: And for more questions relating to your R3 you may want to check out NBR http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m17x/
