Titan Black + 3D Vision Pro = Discover Glass
I have a Titan Black and 3D Vision Pro installed on a Windows 7 x64 PC running driver 333.78. Everything appears to be installed correctly but when I try to enable 3d in the nvidia control panel, a wizard is launched that sees the 3d vision pro as discover glasses. If I look in the nvidia control panel it lists my 3d vision pro, it allows me to connect up the glasses but when the wizard launches the only option not greyed out is discover glasses. If I pull disconnect the 3d vision pro and launch the wizard, all 4 options including "pro hub and glasses" is available. If I select pro hub and glasses and click next it asks me to connect the emitter. When I plug it back into the USB port, it switches back to discover glasses again. The projector, 3d vision pro, and my previous quadro card worked without an issue. I did a complete uninstall of the driver and settings and installed the latest (at the time) driver for the titan. Any ideas?

Sorry, I don't really know but I have had similar problems in the past when I've tried to change the usb port that my emitter is plugged in to.

Another USB cable? Or if you're running through anything like a hub, remove it and plug directly into the USB port?

You might have to use quadro drivers with that setup, you can use your favorite driver (since you said you had a quadro setup before) and look for a "Modified INF" file to match the driver version. The modded inf allows the quadro driver to install with your non-quadro card, in this case, your Titan Black, should work like a charm. I was just looking into a Quadro driver yesterday that was supposed to be better for Watch_Dog's & a few other titles, but by the time I read the topic the same WHQL's for Geforce users were available and I didn't bother using it, although I did download both the driver and the Inf File. I can leave you some links. So you don't have to search it, and in case you have never done this before, you grab the quadro driver and using 7zip or WinRAR extract the driver to any folder. Then, look for the "NV_Dispwi.inf" file and replace it with the moded version. Once you have done this, run the "Setup.exe" from the root of the extracted Quadro Driver. You should now be able to install this with no issue with any GeForce GPU. The Quadro drivers do not include the PhysX portion of the driver, so if you want/need it, simply download and install it separately, or even extract the latest GeForce driver and install it from there. Here are the links: Moded Inf - http://www29.zippyshare.com/v/91379125/file.html (For Quadro Driver 340.52) Guru3D.COM - Link for 340.52's & Watch_Dog's performance Thread (also has link for modded inf): http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=390968&highlight=WATCH+DOGS+QUADRO I have done this many times before, it is safe and reversible, meaning you can uninstall it or install new Geforce Drivers over it. Good Luck, and hope it helps! ~Nutz OH, I JUST HAD A THOUGHT~ You MAY be able to simply extract the quadro driver, as I said before, and install the 3D Vision Pro files and driver for your emitter WITHOUT having to install the whole driver, negating the use of the modded inf! It MIGHT/Probably be the difference of the EMITTER driver itself, that the Geforce drivers can't see/understand! Others may be able to elaborate! Again, GOOD LUCK!

Tried all the different usb ports. also I tried plugging and unplugging it at various points during the process. Didn't help. Thanks for the suggestion on the quadro driver. I would prefer to avoid that but I am willing to try if that is the only suggestion I get. According to FAQ 3d Vision Pro should work with the Titan card. The most unusual issue is that the nvidia control panel sees it as a 3d vision pro but the wizard doesn't How odd.

Until you get the green NVidia logo in the 3D setup panel, you'll never get past the setup wizard. Like in this picture provided by helifax.
Best Regards,
Since you are using a consumer GPU and your Projector is not on the supported list, it officially will not work. Unofficially, you can use an EDID override from a supported projector.
