I got it. As far as I can tell looking at changes in my directory it's just the soundtrack. No changes to game exe or data.

Interesting... I think I found a work-around to get 3DMigoto (and the fix) working every single time (in all the zones). More testing is required still;)) but while let you know once I am able to fully validate and agree this works;)) (For those who has problems with the fix kicking in).

Well I've been testing in the past few days and... If the wrapper is disabled the only workaround found was to put the exe in compat mode as Windows Vista. This will trigger the game to talk with the license sever again and the DRM to encrypt the data again. During the FIRST launch after compat mode is changed it will work perfectly fine until you quit to dekstop. However, on any other launch after it will be broken in the Citadel Interior/exterior zones. Removing the compat mode will again issue the DRM scheme to issue a new key and so on... and the wrapper will work. The catch: Problem is if you do this 10 times the License server will decide NOT to validate your game anymore. At which point you will be unable to play for the NEXT 12/24 hours (I am still not sure about the time-slot) and you will get the famous ERROR that I posted here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/265300/discussions/0/620700960924821334/ If you feel bold enough to take this step, you now know what you can do. :)

I tried to use the fix, but to often, when a level load or after a cutszene, the 3D Effect get lost, but the LED on my Monitor said that 3D Vision is still on. Only restarting the game helps. Tab to desktop or STRG+T does not help. Any Ideas? Iam on Win 8.1 x64. Done all like the description said...

I just received a patch for the on steam the game version in now 1.6 . I'm using the lords of the fallen 3D vision patch v1 from the helix blog. Everything seems to working the 3 hours I played no more losing 3D I think the patch disabled the copy protection since it was only 2.4 MB in size. Before the last patch 2D or 3D I could only play for 15 minutes max. I'm using NVidia 347.62 drivers Windows 8.1 Update 3 64 Bit Hdmi checkerboard via Samsung UN55HU9000

Little bump, because of the latest Driver with CM Support for Lords of the Fallen. It look not bad, only if the charkter are to close, the appear a bit flat. Good performace and i didnt loose the 3D Signal. Not bad :-)
Has anyone else tried using this game with 3dTV Play? Nothing works... this usually only happens with ATI branded games so I was a little surprised:( sent an email to the development team, but I am not optimistic.
Well, a year later, did anyone ever get this to work? I've tried Refreshlock as well with no success.

You can try Chiri's force resolution/refresh. It only works 1% of the time. There is absolutely no documentation of how to even use it. So ummm yah..Gl http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/02/chiris-force-certain-resolutionhertz.html EDIT: I should add that you need to remove ; from in front of settings, for them to apply. ;height=720 <-------<<< remove the ; from in front of it for example.

I had that working, didn't have to do anything special. Maybe you need an edid override?

Yeah I had tried removing the ; in all the override settings. It always either forces 120hz or forces windowed mode. I'm not sure how the chiri one is different but I couldn't remember how you deal with 2 d3dx.ini files (and the page even says it doesn't work anymore). An edid override forces your PC to view the display as something other than what it really is. So you can force it to view your display as one that doesn't support 720p @ 120hz, so it won't try to do that. Google should be able to fill in the rest, it's not something I've had to do for a long time, but it's not difficult.

This seems to be a problem with a handful of games for users with specific displays. I assume it because of the way that the developer is using to query the end user's supported resolutions and refresh rates. While your display is capable, it doesn't see it as being so and thus is missing from the selectable options. It seems to be related to how the EDID is written. The solution for users, has been to override the EDID with something else. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/793190/

Finally got around to trying the edid thing and it works as long as I don't have my monitor and projector on at the same time. Thanks. On another note, is there any way to get the ambient occlusion to work in non-sli?

Sorry that I'm always late to the party (people most interested in this game probably have already finished it), but I will release a new version of the fix soon. I've found and fixed 4 specular lights pixel shaders (they aren't in the current fix, so maybe mike_ar69 didn't see them). Before: http://u.cubeupload.com/masterotaku/LordsOfTheFallen042.jpg After: http://u.cubeupload.com/masterotaku/LordsOfTheFallen043.jpg These shaders' code is similar to one specular lights shader that is in the fix (and extremely similar between them). I've used a similar pattern to fix them, although somehow the formula isn't 100% perfect. At 0 convergence, I can see that the reflection is a tiny bit inside the surface of the object. It's imperceptible at normal convergence levels, and at least it's inside the surface and not outside, which would be worse. I'll wait until I have finished the game and visited all areas before I release this new version of the fix. By the way, there are going to be my typical quality of life hotkeys: convergence, HUD depth, and FXAA. Also with the newest 3Dmigoto build. FXAA is a strange case. To be enabled, you need the post processing option to be enabled. But FXAA doesn't appear at boot. You have to disable and enable post processing again. After that, that's when my hotkey will work. Disabling FXAA gave me between 1% and 2% more performance, like going from 38.2fps to 38.9fps. Depth of field is linked to some important lighting and bloom, so I can't disable it. If you don't want it, you will have to disable post processing (which also disabled other effects that I wouldn't consider post processing). Unrelated to the fix: is the terrain sometimes broken for you when an area loads, and to fix it you have to pause and unpause the game?
