Amber and Blue Anaglyph filter support When will support for other anaglyph filters be supported
I'm really excited to use the 3d vision, but I only have a pair of amber and blue glasses (left over from the Superbowl). I've been reading that these glasses are the way to go and was wondering why Nvidia didn't give the option to let it's consumers change the anaglyph filters to accommodate their preferred glasses. Could you maybe send out a patch or if you're planning to have a driver update soon have the ability to do this. I know it possible because I saw a post were people were doing it, but I have been unable to replicate it in Windows 7 64bit. It would be great to use feature and I hope I can use it soon.

Thanks you guys!

Check Here.

I was about to suggest trying the iz3d drivers but i'm not sure how they perform with newer 64-bits-systems. It doesn't hurt to check them though.
Check Here.

Yeah I tried that one, but it keeps looking for the monitor which I don't have, or need really. Thanks for the reply though. Good to see I'm not the only one looking around for this solution.

[OBS! Iz3d-drivers control, not for 3d-vision!)
Nevermind the message about missing iz3d-monitor. The install works anyway. :D
After the install the control center should be launched. Under the directx tab, select "enable by hotkey" and as "output" anaglyph(free) and yellow/blue as suboption. Try if stereo works with the dynamic test below the "help" tab.
While ingame you toggle stereo on/off by pressing numpad [*] which is default unaltered.
[+] [-] alters separation while [shift] + [+] [-] alters convergence.
Numpad [7],[8] and [9] is for storing up 3 different stereosettings for each game which is very handy sometimes.

There are more but most of the time you manage with these for a decent experience.

The only issue might be compability with newer 64-bits system. (I don't know if they work or not but it doesn't hurt to try).

Cheers!

i am on vista 64 and use both iz3d and 3d vision and they both work fine. The only down side to the iz3d is a lack of dx10 support (yet its coming) and a some what larger fps hit in some games, but it does have some advantages over the 3d vision anaglyph such as the way you set convergence.

just to let you know i have experimented with amber/blue "colorcode, red/cyan and green/magenta (worthless) glasses and find that the red/cyan are the best, they offer the brightest image and less ghosting. the blue/amber have some what better color (not much mind you) but are very very dark they are unusable for alot of games and they ghost more then red/cyan, especially since the colors are not perfect and the right shade of yellow and blue are copyrighted by colorcode.

I'll give it another try and see if I can get it to work. Do I need to have the Nvidia stero3d disabled? Maybe that's why it didn't work b4.

Please keep checking our 3D Vision Discover website for details on red/cyan glasses.
