3D Vission Emitter Problem
Dear Fourm I have been having a problem with my 3d vission. I had the old style glasses and they have been good for years but recently I would be playing BF3 and a few minutes into the game the 3D would drop out. Not on the screen but the glasses just stoped working. So I got the 3D vision 2 glasses. They worked, but then a few minutes into the game same thing happend. Screen still puting out 3D but glasses (fully charged) stoped working. So obviously the computer is fine as it still is putting out 3D but the glasses stop after a short while. Could it be the emitter that is built into my ACER HN274H or could it be driver/software issue. Please, anyone who has had this problem, let me know what to do. Thanks

It is clearly not working as intended and considering that you tried two glasses with the same result it would suggest the emitter. Se if you can change anglle at all. Other it seemes like you need an external emitter or a new monitor. I have an ASUS VG278H as well as a benq with external emitter so I can test if it works well using two emitters to the same monitor. Note I havn't tested yet.

The results are prelilminary but I couldn't not run my monitor with built-in emitter using an external emitter instead.

You can definitely use a USB emitter, if you have one. You can actually see the signal from the emitter if you look at it through a digital camera (phone should work too). It'll appear as a purple light.

Just redid my test and it worked. Had some issue with 3D Discoverer first time around. Don't know how but it is solved.

Thank All U All for your help. Oddly enough it just started working right after I used my phone to look where the emitter was located on the monotor. I blocked the signal from my glasses with the phone and it started working. i don't know if that had anything to do with it. I also started Nvidia GeForce Experiance and let that run in the background. I also set monitor to AUto. Thanks again.
