Did they patch this game lastnight on steam? Mine is crashing now upon exit to windows and I was wondering what changed. Worked great for me before other than the memory frequency bug which they still haven't fixed...

A few things to keep in mind. This game is still crashing with 3Dmigoto so it`s impossible to start working on any fix. Apparently game is working under DX10 so that might be the problem with the tool (which is DX11). Because of DX10 this game somehow scale down memory frequency - I didn`t notice that but people been talking about it with developers. It is possible to trick game engine to work in DX11 by creating new exe file with related config file (RTSS) - but that makes game just pretend to be DX11 and simply working and looking as DX10. Crash at the game shutdown happens to everybody and Devs know about it already. Patch improved game stability during gameplay and eliminate stuttering. Improved loading time and got overall better performance (I`ve noticed more fps). This all might change because game was build to be DX11 game so that might just be the game code issue - which only developers can get sorted.

Thank you SKAUT for your explanations. I understand better why the game is crashing with 3Dmigoto. I hope there will be a solution to launch the game with 3Dmigoto. We can see that developpers didn't think at all of the 3D when they created the game whereas Just Cause 2 was perfect in 3D.

Hello, A new patch is released (1.021). I don't know if it solves the crash with 3Dmigoto tools.

Tracking that down every single day - so I know what`s up. Testing every 3Dmigoto version every time they change something or new tech info pops out. This time that was only small update - to deal with crash during game shutdown. No improvements to game engine. Game still hangs on start-up - when going past main screen into main menu.

I don't have the game but if it really DX10 it should load with my DX10 wrapper in other cases my DX11 wrapper might go further than 3DMigoto. I'm coming in from the cold so I have no idea. @dekgol feel free to PM me

The fix is really doing a difference, 60 fps in 3D on my 980 TI !! Edit: In the air, more like 45 fps, but still playable !

Game is still crashing with 3DMigoto. I didn`t check Flugan`s wrapper yet so fingers crossed. Anyway - yes this patch was great in case of performance. Everything is much smoother, loading times still bothers me thou - on SSD I got 4 min until I get into this game or crash.
I believe he's referring to the performance patch.
Right Pirateguybrush ! Only a performance patch ! But never the less an important one, I hope that it was the first step towards a 3D fix :)

What are you refering to ? I didn't mean to tell you anything, except the fact that the game is running very well now. The pic was just to show my fps in 3D in the air, just as mentioned in earlier post :)
