Can the 2D directx objeccts be split/rendered for use in 3D?
In Dragon Age the mouse cursor is obviously 2D, so I'm wondering if that could also be split in the same way to end up in 3D? And what about 2D DirectX billboards? Could those be split and made to be viewed in 3D? I'm really excited about 3D vision and hope it keeps getting better & better.

When I saw the topic I tought its the mass effect lens flares. Hehe.
IDK what do you want to do with that screen depth poop.? /unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
BTW mass effect2 works beter in 3d than me1, once you apply my config.
Mass Effect1 is worse , I can't find a way to disable these, can't even make the HUD disappear, wanna help?

Dragon Age
The only problem I have is the mouse cursor. I always play with the HUD/GUI off. But that mouse cursor ruins everything. The only way to fix that is to set the depth low and get as much conv as I can. I'm thinking maybe I write an application that will split the mouse cursor in two which will then produce a 3D effect, it's a long shot but I'm thinking about it.
Mass Effect 1
I play with the HUD/GUI turned off. You have to open BIOInput.ini and add the bind for "ShowHud". I have it bind to the 4 key. Then make sure you set the bioinput.ini file to read only. In game I press 4 and it turns off the hud/gui completely including the crosshair. Then I set the aim assist to High and play without a crosshair. Every once in a while I'll press 4 to scan the area for loot or to check my health.
NOTE: There is a bug you can use to disable the cross hair in Mass Effect 1. In game press 4 to turn off the games Hud. Then press escape to go to the menu then escape again. This gets rid of the cross hair. HOWEVER if you trigger a cutscene the HUD/gui remains which breaks immersion. If someone can figure out a way to use this bug but not have the GUI/hud show during cutscenes it would be greatly appreciated.
On a side note, ME1 is very playable for me with my approach. But Dragon Age is not. The 2D cursor messes everything up. I'm going to see if I can split the cursor.
