@Helifax: you seem to be the most active 3D Vision guru on forum currently :) Maybe you can help :) Is there a way to make 3D Vision CM mode work with additional effects wrappers, such as Reshade? I'm struggling to make game work with this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/23/ Thanks in advance.

I running in CM mode & I running E3FX 8.5 reshade and everything is working 3D CM mode in matter if I remove the reshade profile I can not put the game in Full Screen it defaults to borderless window with no 3D. The above is version 1.4 and 1.5 of the game also note I used 3DTV play in HDMI checkerboard mode.

Anybody know where I can download patch 1.04? My 3D experience was much more enjoyable then because I was able to use 3D in conjunction with Pure Vision SweetFX. With 1.05, it's either 3D vanilla or 2D Pure Vision. Made the mistake of relying on GoG Galaxy for updating, thinking that backing up the x64 folder was enough, but I learned sadly that deleting x64 folder (while 1.05) and replacing it with x64 (while it was 1.04) does not successfully roll it back. Edit: I'm having real issues now. Between 3D or SweetFX, I choose 3D. So... 1) I reistalled the game using the preload files from GoG. 2) Applied the patch 1.02 which was still on my hard drive. The game runs fine. 3) Downloaded the 1.05 from the website, not the galaxy client, and the game runs fine in 2D. 4) I still have Flugans Alpha 0.04 lying around but I heard he updated it so it wouldn't CTD with 1.05 so I went back to his Onedrive and grabbed Flugan Witcher 3 Alpha 0.04 (hope that's the current one). The game runs in 3D no problem, but everytime it rains whether through the natural progression of time or by meditating, the gamma and contrast goes all bonkers. In videophile terms, the blacks are being crushed, and Geralt's skin tone looks like he got overbaked in a tanning salon. Bear in mind this is without any files from SweetFX in my installation folder and a fresh install.

Helix...I know you got them patches. I know you hail from the school of old, patching manually rather than through a client. Any possibility you could upload it to a Onedrive or something similar. Between 3D and the natural calibrated look that Pure Vision allows, I choose 3D, but with these issues, 'tis a shame I've no other choice but to play in the realm of 2D. ...obviously I've been playing this game too long. Edit Did the exact opposite, installed patch 1.05 without Flugan's files, installed SweetFX, turned off 3D from NV Control Panel, and the game looks great at 120Hz, no abrupt change in gamma during the rain. The culprit it seems is the 3d fix and how it does not like 1.05 (and vice versa).

Don't suppose someone can provide a brief overview of the best way to get 3d? This thread starts with a trailer and at some point in the 55 pages I guess people started modding stuff but it's all words I don't understand and programs I've never heard of.. maybe an update to the op? Or some links? Sorry for my ignorance.

There are four alpha versions that can be found in the massive thread. If you don't want to search for the fixes with 3Dmigoto wrapper that won't work on Windows 8.1 last time I checked. I have all versions using my wrapper on my OneDrive (in my signature) in the games directory. Remember that all versions are still alpha. Mike hinted that 0.05 might release fairly soon. To get 3D make sure you're running in proper fullscreen mode.

Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?

Frosty go 2 pages back, post #792 by flugan, he's got a link to his Onedrive. Open up the games folder in there and find the Witcher 3 Alpha 0.04. It will be zipped. You'll need Winrar or 7zip to extract the files. Once extracted, it will become a folder with 2 files (D3D11.dll, d3dx.ini) and a folder (Shader fixes). You'll want to put these three in the same folder where your Witcher 3 launcher is. I'm no programmer myself but I believe the Shader Fixes folder contains the instructions for the 3D driver to render shadows at the proper depth for each eye, while the D3D11.dll and the d3dx.ini is what tells the game client to look into those folders when it boots up. Without those two files, the shader fixer folder will just be sitting there not doing anything.
