Awesome DHR! Big thanks for the Update! DA:I was the only Frostbite3 game that had the lighting system both in the Pixel Shaders and the Compute Shader paths! We disabled the Compute Shader Path as it was unfixable (until a few days ago). In practice and theory, there shouldn't be any difference between the released fix and the new one! (As both Paths should be the same) But if there is, that means we did something wrong;))

So is it true that we could get an easier fix for DAI? I've such a huge backlog that never tried DAI fix since it looked like hell to set up and very unstable so moved to other games instead, can it really happen? I'm a big fan of DA1 and even DA2, and they were great in 3d, this would be fantastic news.

But, I guess that is history now:) This fix does exactly NOTHING EXTRA compared to the one that is already out there - for your knowledge. Those instructions are there for you, if you run into "trouble" :)

I tried my best to config it as mentioned, tried both flugan and 3dmigoto fixes, but the game simply didn't boot iirc, so I just gave up. First thing is that you guys did an incredible job making it work in 3d vision and it's completely my undeniable incompetence to make it work and i have no right to ask for anything, so I just moved to other games instead, maybe at some point I'll make a windows 7 partition exclusively for DAI with everything configured as explained, but you guys keep pushing amazing fixes for other games so I shrugged and played those instead. Still I wanted to check if there was any option to get an easier DAI fix and try my luck.

I just wanted to mention that this game is working 99% great straight from installing the fix with 3d fix manager and turning of MSAA and another AA option mentioned in helixmod, only during conversation cutscenes there's wrong depth and strange effects so I have to turn it off, but if you don't want to do all the laundry list of things needed in the fix, it work just fine.

[/quote] Yeah recently I've tried the fix and automated it. First I was very frightened about the very long text describing what to do to make the fix work. I thought: Oh my god... this will never work >.<. But then all you have to do is to disable MSAA and set Effects to ultra basically xD. I have automated this in 3D Fix Manager to make it a one click installation. Someone should really shorten the text in the blog. It's really frithtening people ;).

Actually I think most of the issues where solved with recent driver updates and window 10. It used to be a nightmare to get going but I didn't have any issues using it last time I played a couple of months ago
