Contrast Ghosting Is it just me or everyone has the same ghosting problem?

...yeah better consider resolution in the last sentence ( ...afterwards!!! :D ), and with projector, and silverscreen, you can backup the lost brightness entirely. Unlike fake LCD software contrast.

And who said pj's can't work in daylight?

So a silverscreen is good for 2d display too? I'm thinkin about gettin the acer h5360 with a da lite silver screen. I know nvidia 3d will work fine with that because it has gain over 1.5, but will it display 2d games well too?

Afaik da-lite sells no silverscreen , high power is a retroreflective (important!!!), high gain glass beaded screen. People seem to like it very very much.

It has a huge advantage over silverscreens, it has no hotspot. Flat silverscreen is hotstpotting and to avoid that, you need curved silverscreen ( whole screen becomes a huge hotspot , literally).
The Da-Lite High Power 2.8 gain and the Da-Lite Glass Beaded 2.5 gain surfaces are both RETRO-REFLECTIVE. What this means is that wherever you shoot your projected light FROM, this screen will reflect it BACK in a STRAIGHT LINE.

So, if you determine that you need a 2.5 or 2.8 gain screen, you MUST mount your projector lower down on a shelf or table where it can shoot the projected image in a straight line toward the screen and the screen will reflect the light back at you the viewer in that same straight line. You can not use this screens with a ceiling mounted projector. If you do mount your projector on the ceiling and try to use a retro-reflective screen, all of your light will reflect straight back up to the ceiling dimming your picture even further thereby counteracting all the higher brightness of the 2.5 or 2.8 gain screen.

Just remember, you can use a retro-reflective glass beaded or high power screen as long as your projector is mounted lower down on a shelf or table.
Well then I suggest a normal silverscreen ( angular reflective, thats what you want!) , the 1.5 gain stuff you looked at seems decent!
You can also buy screen paint on the 'net, and apply it onto thin wooden mdf sheet perhaps.
Or buy the screen material itself, and tension it yourself. I suggest making it 16:10.

EDIT: Now I see its an UK site. Hmm, interesting ;) . If you can get the screen material itself I'd be interested , too.
A uniquely designed screen surface with a specifically designed silver finish. This surface is perfect for situations where a silver surface is necessary for a polarized 3-D projection. The matte finish of this surface successfully rejects ambient light. Screen surface can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Flame retardant and mildew resistant. Viewing Angle: 30° Gain: 1.5
if it can be used with polarized 3d then its sure not glass beaded. Only the size isnt decent.
