Will 3D Vision still work with CRTs?

Really looking forward to playing RE4 in 3D, it's one of my favourite games ever. These guys are doing some insane work recreating the textures for the HD version: http://www.re4hd.com/
Actually all the Dead Space series works flawless with HelixMod. I even have recordings here showing this: http://3dsurroundgaming.com/GameList.html (You can save the videos to your PC -> R_Click save video. Or you can use Firefox 31 to view the videos in your browser.) Dead Space 1 requires the STEAM version and doesn't work on ORIGIN version... Maybe that is what you are seeing...
I have retail, I don't think you can get the steam version now since EA took it away. I'm still working on the light doubling thing. I honestly think it gets a little better when I alt tab.

This retexture looks really nice

It's one of the great ironies to the Steam store (since it seems Valve allows the same EA titles to be featured dailies every couple of weeks. I exaggerate of course, but I still think those EA products get the daily spot more than any other title. It makes me mad every time I see it. Valve is clearly a better entity than I am. I would never give them slots to EA (let alone constantly).

Honestly, in some applications a CRT monitor is better than anything LCD wise. Until very recently the fighting game community were still clutching on to them due to input lag found on most other monitors.

I used 3d vision with my old SGI 24 inch widescreen CRT, 1280x800 at 120hz. I played Painkiller start to finish in 3d on that old CRT. It did work just fine, but the phosphor persistence is going to cause you to perceive a TON of ghosting. So, be warned - 3d will work, but you WILL have ghost images on both sides of the 3d image. I do kinda miss that CRT outside of 3d, though. Even now, having the PG278Q, I miss that 1680x1050 160hz for shooters. A bit of anti aliasing, and you were golden... input lag? What's that? Sorry, I can't hear you from way up here at the top of the scoreboard... LCDs are such garbage.
