3D vision+Vista 32 BSOD need help after I uninstalled SLI my 3d vision never worked again :(
Ok here is the story, when i purchased my monitor (the viewsonic fuhzion) and my 3D vision googles I had 2 8800GT set up in SLI, I went thought the installation and everything worked just perfect, I sold one of my beloved 8800's and kept one of course I don't have SLI anymore but I also know 1 8800GT should be enough.
By the time that happened I also did a fresh windows installation downloaded latest 3D cd v1.08 installed it and when I'm on the wizard (here comes the problem) when I'm setting up my goggles the exact moment it says turn on your glasses my display driver stops working, I tried going back to the previous drivers v 1.07 whit those drivers you can see the 3d for like a second and then again display driver stops working today I downloaded V1.09 installed everything and when i get to the same part BSOD I'm guessing my display driver stopped working and caused the crash.

has anyone had this problem before? or do you have an idea of what might be the solution? please let me know I really hate having my glasses and my games and not being able to use them :'(

Thanks in advance /wave.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Are you using the dual-link DVI cable that came with the monitor?

I am running Windows 7 32, with SLI 8800 GToc (BFG) cards. I had trouble installing 3D vision as the USB driver would not install. The fix from these forums did not work, it came up empty. I ended up extracting the "stereo" setup file from the CD to a folder and then having windows look there for a driver. After that it installed just fine.

With 3D on, I can only play a few min for UT2004 before I get a bsod. After some wrangling, I was able to install Steam and COD4 (i got COD4 through steam). But I get bsod if I try to run either COD4 or TF2 with the emitter plugged in.

Would me having a dual boot machine with Win7 on an external HD make any difference?
