plasma is little problematic (becose most of them are for 3D desynchronised or low refresh -becose picture processing)
2 possibilities are present for big 3D stereo display
1/DLP projector - picture diameter above 2-3m is no problem see please here:
www.3dflightsim.com (it si possible of use of 2 or 3 projectors to super wide 3D stereodisplay) - I use 2 benq PB 6240 and edimensional shutterglassee and Matrox Dualhead2Go adapter - little flicker on 85 Hz and amazing setup.
2/new DLP TVs from Mitsubishi and Samsung (refresh 120 Hz, full HD) with little sofware plugin working with NV drivers. see here:

i bet it would look cool sitting in front of a 52inch plasma with real 3D depth in games. (and perhaps a bit scary) lol
