flickering is gone!!! /smile2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':))' /> good job driver team! :)
1: SIN episode one
2: no problems! :)
(I believe it is just matter of ingame stereo settings? when I enabled 3D crosshair I got two of them)
P.S.: I tested SIN with previous beta 82.12 - flickering was there. with the new drivers it is gone! ofcourse it just might be that it is gone because I got matching driver versions?! ;)
P.P.S. will post more feedback on other games some time later

I went back to version 78.01 cuz i couldn't pass the Medical Test. Everytime i tried it i got a BSOD. I couldn't enable Stereo cuz it always tried to run this Medical Test. BTW i have a Geforce FX 5800 Ultra. Click at my name to see my specs.

Most games either lock up, or will lock soon after I start. It usually happens during some type of transition or load. For example, 3D Mark 2003 will lock in the same place every time.
My specs are
CPU Pentium D 3.0 Ghz
GeForce 7900 GT 256MB at 500Mhz
1 GB of DDR2 Memory
Intel 945 Chipset Motherboard
Audigy 2 Platnium

DAMN! This is the second time that I have had to go to Safe Mode and re-install the drivers. I tried the stereo viewer provided by Nvidia to view .JPS files and it reboots my machine, and continues to do so every time I try to run windows. I didnt get a good look at the file at fault, but I think it said NV4_DISP.DLL I could be off though. This is getting REALLY annoying since I spent $550 on a VR headset and $300 on the video card just so I could do this!

this is the first driver release that is causing no stability problems so far, where former builds gave me a BSOD when trying to launch the built in stereo test application (spinning NV logo) ... :)
I also no longer have to disable stereo3d manually prior to quitting a game or alt-tabbing to desktop, previous builts left me with a severly corrupted desktop
in Quake4, I see shadow and lightning problems on the right eye view, ie. some light are missing or popping on and off randomly, but at least the performance got a hefty boost form former 5fps to ~15fps, which is still too low compared to the +40fps I get with stereo disabled

After enableing stereo 3D I get hard lock immediately in Oblivion and Far Cry. In Hl2 I get hard lock when I´ve started to move with stereo 3D on. In LockOn FC I get hard lock when crashing the plane with stereo 3D on. WoW and UT2003 runs perfectly with this driver. Test and medical image runs smoothly.
Well it was possible to get rid of flickering with the older version as well via disabling fastwrites.

wrong! I had fastwrite disabled - and I still had flickering

p.s. I have tested just two games so far but theese drivers look very promising!
1: your system specs (I have created signature, which could serve as an example?)
2: game you have tested
2a: report on stereo experience with the game
