Enemy Territory Quake Wars Please, NVIDIA, enable 3D in this game!
Hello!
I wonder why of all OpenGL games, Enemy Territory Quake wars doesn't work with Nvidia 3D.
I know it's an old game but it's very nice to play at full resolution and settings and with full antialiasing.
My 2 GTX 460 in SLI are at top usage with these settings and the game looks really neat (thinking it's 3 years old).
I always wondered why 3d is disabled for this game.
I would like to test it using anaglyph glasses.

You answered your own question. OpenGL games are not supported by 3d Vision.
Not likely going to happen but for what it's worth, the current plan is to support 3D Vision for the game title Rage when it is released in October.
We can't fix your bug if we can't reproduce it. Please provide as much details as possible including specs, steps to reproduce, graphics settings used, etc..

Woah - I hope you are right. If Rage is supported then there is hope for other games made with the engine.

Wow, that's big and exciting news. I hope it all pans out. Does this mean that there is hope for all ID Tech 5 games as well? I heard that Bethesda Softworks plan on using the engine in a few major titles.
EDIT - I seemed to have asked the same thing as Arioch above in my excitement ;-)

Why not? ETQW is just an opengl game.
Enabling 3dvision for opengl games (and allow some tweaking) it's all that it needs... then the users will tweak it even more.

Why bother, it takes nvidia 3 months to get a 3d vision ready game to work in 3d. They have shown time and time again to be incompetent.
