Expect beta drivers before we get WHQL certified drivers. I just checked (on NVIDIA.com, GeForce.com seems to be busted for me) and nothing yet. Guru3D hasn't got any leaked drivers, either.
Just what does 'unsatisfactory' performance mean? 40fps? 10fps? An fps?
P.S. How long was it before we got DA2-ready beta drivers? A week or so?
P.P.S. The 270.71 drivers are the WHQL drivers for the Quadro series. It might be possible to modify those and make them work with your card. Maybe.

well my 560ti does get 50 fps but it has constant lock-ups and sometimes skips a frame or two which is annoying, and when you enable ubersampling i can't get above 15 fps =[
btw Andrew got any news for us? the game is finally out, would be nice to see what you guys were able to do with the new drivers =D

Andrew,
Should we go back to the 268 drivers then... I'm definitly having issues and at spots its damn near unplayable with the 270 drivers. I do gotta say this game looks amazing and you can tell that it's the drivers that are causing the issues. It reminds me of Dead Rising 2 with the micro stuttering in certain spots. I just played for about an hour and then I got to a level that had lots of fire and it damn near just stopped on me. I know it's not my system..

Don't forget though that the "ubersampling" option that comes on by selecting ultra settings will kneel any card available atm.
Considering i'm playing the game on a gtx 560 ti with ultra settings with that only option off (both on 266.66 and 270.61) with 35-50 fps i think it's safe to say you shouldn't have any issues with it. Only thing i'm worried about is the fact that it keeps the card at 99% and really really hot (70 deg without side case..75+ with it).

Yeah i know shaderhacker, just got worried that the message was pretty vague as to why you shouldn't use the 270.61 drivers with it. I remember what happened with sc2 when the beta menu burned all those cards. Also the fact that there's not that many games using 99% gpu constantly.
Since i didn't actually own an nvidia card back then i have no clue how the actual burnout happened. If people were simply not monitoring the card temps or it just went poof after 2-3 mins in the menu with no prior warnings (aka by monitoring temp )

I am not too worried about the cards running hot if it truly utulizes the GPU's in the 90%+ range. Games like Just Cause 2 and Arcania were like that for me and I played those for hours at a time.
Well I got my CE sitting here at work and have to wait another 7 hours or so before I can install it. The Artbook is fantastic and I can't wait to listen to the soundtrack. Oh, the DVD case has a 3D Vision ready logo on the cover too I noticed.

Going back to the last official driver solved all my FPS problems. Every setting maxed and it runs perfect. Non 3D though I haven't bothered to reset the settings after I uninstalled the old drivers.

Tried installing that one, but didn't work for me. I can't even run the game decently at 800x600, low settings in windowed mode with my 560Ti. Someone somewhere has totally screwed something. And to think Crysis2 plays perfectly at 1680x1050 maxed out, yet this is a 10fps slideshow whatever resolution, whatever quality, 3d enabled or not. How can this happen?
Does anyone recommend any other versions of the driver?

Well Mocl as i said before works fine for me on a gtx560 on both the 266.66 and the 270.61 at ultra settings all maxed except ubersampling. So i'm not sure it's the game's fault.
