Sony Bravia ex720 3D Vision Problem
  1 / 3
Hi,

I got the Sony Bravia EX720 3D, and today i just bought me Nvidia 3D Vision but nothing seems to work the latest driver are installed.

I connacted them with the DVI (with VGA adapter as EX720 doesnt have DVI port it has 4 HDmI and 1 VGA)

When I open the Wizard it tells me that THe Zalman Display isn't Compitable with 3D Vision Glasses or IR Emitter.

Any Suggestions? Don't tell me I just spent 175 Euros for nothing?

Hmm, I thought vga was limited to 720p not only in 3d, but in 2d as well? Please somebody correct me if im wrong.

What video card?

Your TV is an upgraded version of my TV, so that shouldn't be the problem.

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530

Hmm I think so too. I tried to connect it with the HDMI to DVI (given with the box) but the TV isnt a DLP and doesn't have a VESA3 port.

I have a dual link dvi cord running from my GTX 260 to a dldvi to hdmi adaptor. Works, thats all i know. Maybe try the same thing if you have an electronics store nearby your house that will take returns? Just to warn you, their quite expensive at $33. (but you could always use it, while waiting for a $2 adapter on Ebay.)

Hi

3D Vision does not work with Sony 3D TVs, period.

You can use 3DTV Play, which comes free with 3D Vision kits. You just need to plug in your IR Emitter.

Please check our 3DTV Play TV support list for your TV. http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-requirements.html

If its not there, please follow these instructions and we can add it http://nvidia.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/nvidia.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2774

Once its added, I can issue an update utility to support your TV.

I got one of those too (the one given with the 3D vision) but the Wizard thinks that i am using a DLP monitor. My TV doesn't have VESA3 port for the IR Emitter :(

So you have a gtx295 connected to your Sony 3DTV with a dual link DVI to HDMI converter cable, right? When you run set up with your nvidia 3D software, it gives you this Zalman error message. What version of 3D software? Did the message appear during install or set up?
To get help, you must tell us exactly what you did and what software and hardware you're using.

I am using 2 type of wires:

First one: Both VGA Ports (with one side DVI Adapter) with this one the 3D Setup Wizard give me the Zalman Display compatiabilty Error.

Second one: The one given with the KIT HDMI and DVI ports (no adapters) with this one the Wizard thinks I am using with DLP monitor i think and wants me to activate a different Glass.

3D software? you mean driver latest one downloaded today.
