I just tried Shogun 2 (full game) and am very disappointed to say it looks terrible in 3DV. It's pretty dark, to begin with. Rivers and roads rend at the wrong depth and no amount of tweaking will set them straight, in addition to glitches with the clouds and volumetric effectgs. Unless this is addressed in a patch or by a profile, it will be unplayable in 3DV. Which sucks, considering its predecessors, especially Medieval 2, looked amazing.
A lot of new AAA titles (ME2, DA2, and now Shogun 2) look much worse in 3DV than their predecessors. NVidia needs to promote the tech much more seriously if they want it to succeed...

doesnt surprise me as the demo didnt work either. Hope they fix it because I cant play these games without 3d anymore. Its just boring now :P
The game not being shipped with directx10/11 and no AA means people are buying beta versions of the game. Disgraceful really

Ya, I agree. Once you've seen a game like MTW2 in 3D, it's very difficult to go back to 2D, even if it looks gorgeous. It makes no sense to me that older games, written way before 3DV entered the market, look better than new titles. C'mon, NVidia, we ALL want 3DV to become THE gaming standard and we'll spread the word to our families and friends. But you have to help us out !

I'm sure NVIDIA already sent out a hot blonde female representative to creative assembly, demo'ed the 3D and gave them a free pair of glasses. Right Andrew? :P
I'm sure the NVIDIA devs are working non-stop as we speak to bring this title to an excellent rating. I mean look at how many titles have a fair or good rating in the list? Only a couple. The rest of the games NVIDIA profiles are all excellent or 3D ready. This is because their devs are so dedicated they don't just stop going 1 or 2 levels in, they go all the way to the HILT!
