GTX 970 4K 3D VIsion gaming success with LGUB850V Passive TV

This is your second PUS7100? How Skyrim inventory text looks with passive 3D? Do you play with 1080p settings? Do you have tried active 3D and does 1080p(1920x540) passive looks better than active @ 720p? Seems like LG is little bit better. They both use same LG IPS panels, but LG have lower input lag and prices are same both about 800€. Anyone tried 43PUS7100? How far you must sit on that screen for not seeing ghosting? Seems like 49'' needs 120cm but maybe 43'' model needs less because I can't sit so far and max 80-90cm and 43'' model only costs about 600€ and seems it's cheapest UHD passive TV you can get in EU.
This is your second PUS7100?
Yes this my second because on the 1st one the passive 3D filter was not well positioned in factory, the second one is perfect. Do you really want to compare to @720p ;) ?
Seems like LG is little bit better. They both use same LG IPS panels, but LG have lower input lag and prices are same both about 800€.
Can't say that for sure, because I didn't try LG, as LG tv seems have little ghosting too on high scene contrast. I had my 49PUS7100 for 700€ (with 100€ Philips discount) and I didn't see any 49UF850V below 950€ in France. As for input lag, it seems pretty the same in computer mode (about 40-50ms I think). Philips PUS71xx have about 74ms input lag in game mode and LG have 55ms http://www.supportforum.philips.com/en/showthread.php?20765-Game-mode&p=95263&viewfull=1#post95263 But yeah I'm not big gamer and 980ti is too expensive for me and in EU they are even more expensive than in USA so there is no point buying that card because I don't play much and GPUs aging fast. So I want to play with 1080p 3D resolution and with some mid GPU like 970gtx

People say 56ms is still too much input lag for gaming. It's too risky business if you don't like that input lag then you must still live with it and hate your purchase. Can't return opened and used item if it's not defective in EU like you can do it in USA.

Seems like I made my mind I take last year Samsung 7xxx series TV they are good active TV-s almost ghost free maybe even same like your TV because you said you still get ghosting even with your passive screen. Maybe I even wait 1-2 months and see what Sony have to offer for this year and hope then I can still buy last year Samsung TV if Sony won't give use good 3D TV-s max 50'' size. Last year their smallest 3D TV-s was 55'' and that's too big.

Can you explain why and what LG passive set you want to buy? Seems like this year only OLED LG gets 3D support because only high end LG TV-s gets 3D and LG high end TV-s are now OLED and they are too expensive for me.

LG Electronics 60UF8500 60-Inch 4K Ultra HD 3D Smart is 1400 - 1600 us dollars with an EDID override you can use 3D @ 4K. Check the forums there are couple of users with have LG and use the EDID override. Samsung only supports there products for 1 year (firmware updates) tech support which is the worst. Samsung also said Goodbye to 3D. My Samsung 55HU9000 (top of line set for 2014) cost $3100 us dollars and with an EDID override I can play 3D @ 1080P using the Acer HR274H 3D Monitor EDID Override or pixel mode which is HDMI checkerboard which using NVidia 3D vision. Since you are looking at 7000 series you will only be able to play 3D at 720P. I think only frame, Side by Side, Top / Bottom is supported on the 7xxx series.

Do you not afraid high input lag what does UF8500 have? Yeah I know that EDID overdrive thing, but I don't buy high end GPU so I only can play at 1080p(1920x540) with passive and it's almost like active 720p graphics quality because they both have similar number pixels. 720p active needs less GPU power too than passive 1080p but they both have still similar graphics quality.

Not bigger than 50'' But I prefer 40-43''. In desktop I use anyway UHD but in games only 720/1080p and in games you don't see see so much pixels and in games you can always use anti alasing.
