NVIDIA Flex your muscle and force gaming companies to have a Toggle Crosshair on/off hotkey.

I support this. Also the whole HUD should be kicked off screen if desired. The ability to do this with my custom config for Mass Effect2, is awesome.

Yup, +1 from me too.
Yup, +1 from me too.

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Honestly NVidia has Zero leverage with the game companies for the most part.
They can ask, they can offer to help, but that's pretty much it.

I really see no point in buying a new expensive card except an ATI for beeing disappointed a couple of times now ( not just because of the 3DTV play flop ).

There is no use in them because almost all games work with DX9 anyway like Shark said...ported from some cheap console game. I could even play the games i usually play with my AMD 3800+ and 8800GTS. I only upgraded my card because of ArmA 2, Mafia 2 ( which has great PhysX effects btw... NOT ) and the GTA series.

It's a shame the consoles are holding up the development of quality games for the PC.

Console manufacturers don't pay developers with the money from the hardware, it's the opposite that happens :
game developers pay royalties to the hardware manufacturer to get access to a proprietary platform implemented in a great number of homes because the hardware is sold cheaper that it's worth (it was the case with PS2, Xbox, Xbox360 and PS3, I'm not sure about Gamecube but the Wii is a rare exception that was sold at a profit because of it's very limited hardware)

If they turn off the cursor image then what are we supposed to do?? Use the Force?? What we need them to do is make a 3D pointer - and that would not be a 5 minute change.

I forgot to mention this part, thx :) Take Black Ops for example, the crosshair is all messed up. But if we could turn it off we could simply use the sights of the gun or use nvidia 3d vision crosshair. It's pretty sad that something as trivial as a crosshair or mouse cursor can mean the downfall of 3D stereo gaming.

Play hardcore or simply remove the crosshairs file.

Wow wow wait a second. You can remove the crosshair file? PLEASE tell me how to do this! :P

(I don't use nvidia 3d vision in multiplayer and I'm always on hardcore servers actually).
