I want to upgrade my old Acer HN274H for a higher resolution and screen size 3d Vision compliant monitor.
Looking at the specs of the new Predator IPS screens, they have a much higher refresh rate than old IPS, namely 144Hz, and 4 ms.
Here're the general XB1 series specs:

And more specifically, I am interested in the 32" version:

Will this monitor work with 3D Vision considering the refresh rate exceeds the 120Hz required? Will an EDID hack work?

The XB241H bmipr 24-inch 1920x1080 with G-Sync works with 3D Vision, no EDID hack required.

"Just in case you have any ideas of ditching the stand and using a standard VESA mount, here, we're gonna slap a Predator slogan and claw marks on the bottom bezel."
It actually looks like a fairly respectable monitor aside from that.

Another 1080p TN monitor.... Computex is in a few days. Hoping for some 3840x2160@120Hz G-Sync monitor with 3D Vision 2 compatibility. Or at least 3440x1440 at high refresh rates with 3D. I have just bought a monitor two weeks ago, but the sooner technology advances the better.
Please, monitor manufacturers, don't kill 3D Vision 2 :(.

Pascal will supposedly support Display Port 1.4, so 4K 3D Vision is a possibility.
