Uncharted 4 (as the whole series...pff) The game lacks "substance" in my opinion. Nicely graphics execution but... Uncharted 4 more of the same stuff... Last of Us - Movie turned game....enough said. I would rather watch a movie more times than play that game again. They went overboard with the scripted sequences and stuff in the game, but again that is my opinion. The game is great nevertheless, just can't play it the 2nd time...
Heh, I felt exactly the same way after playing the remastered Uncharted 2 on PS4. It was more like trying to guess the next step of the script, in order to keep the movie going, instead of enjoying any actual gameplay. I didn't appreciate the often restricted camera, quicktime events and endless cut-scenes at all, so I'm ignoring Uncharted 4 at the moment. If creative people prefer to focus on the cinematic aspect so much, I'd rather they left our industry to actually make movies. Thankfully, I can just fire up my PC-Engine or Mega Drive to enjoy some proper gameplay on a lag-free CRT TV. You know, stuff with tight controls which actually lets you play, instead of constantly taking over and bore you silly with its scripted crap ;)
No new RPGS. Lots of games with RPG / open world mechanics though. Aside from Skyrim Remaster on the horizon is Technomancer / Deus Ex/ Skyrim Remaster / Final Fantasy[PC MAYBE eventually] / Persona[no pc].
My PS4 is so ready for Persona 5 and Dragon Quest XI, but fingers crossed for PC versions.

I really dig the style of persona 5 but tbh, I am kind of worried about actually playing it. They really haven't shown the "school" aspect of it which it almost certainly has. Last Persona I played which was persona 3 was such a chore. High school [ugh] and grinding just put me over the edge I seriously forced myself to play it and got to near end and gave up. I want to love it and I am going to commit. It really looks so interesting combined with art style... but yea.

Am a bit dissapointed with E3 so far - everything seems like a 3rd person open world remake of sorts, unless it's a multiplayer shooter. Death Stranding has me intrigued, however. Silent Hills was one of the best demos ever made, so I am keen for a spiritual continuation.

TBH no one even knows if Death Stranded will be similiar but you should definetly check out... New Resident Evil is REALLY like PT/ Silent Hills. IMO they pretty much scrapped old formula as soon as they saw PT response. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WzBWh5YUFtU

RE7 looks really nice, just like PT - but I am weary of zombies/infected. What I really liked about PT (and the Silent Hills trailers/previous games) was the whole psychological angle and creepy weird arse monster designs. Like, was that mess in the sink the ghost's baby? Was the ghost the wife you murdered? For RE7 to be this type of story, it will need to drop the whole idea of zombies/infected entirely and then that begs the question, why is it a Resident Evil game?

Try getting into Persona 4, before making your mind up about 5. The story should definitely grab you, cause you'll really want to solve that murder mystery.
