Absolutely confused about 3D Vision....
Hey guys, I am totally lost on what to do... I bought a 40" Samsung 3D Ready TV (http://www.cybertheater.com/samsung-un40c7000wf-television-review-absolute-modular/) and the Samsung 3D active shutter glasses and was hoping I could come home and 3D vision would magically work.. Not so much the case obviously.. I am not really sure what I need to do, I tried to set up the Stereoscopic but it tells my that I need an nVidia IR Sensor and glasses.. can I not used the ones made for the TV? Also the "3d vision discover" dont work with them, so I have no idea what to do =( Can anyone please help me?

You have to wait for Nvidia's 3DTV Play software to be released before 3D will work with your TV: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-tv-play.html

ETA unknown, its been pushed back as have all major features in the R256 drivers but they are slowly but surely knocking off all the features in the checklist. My guess is next month for 3DTV Play based on the last line in this blog post: http://blogs.nvidia.com/ntersect/2010/07/r...e-goodness.html

You want 3D TV Play which allows 3D Vision functionality with your third party 3D setup. Andrew Fear, product mgr for Nvidia 3D is expected to provide an update on the status of 3D TV Play this week.

Would I be better off just returning my Samsung glasses and ordering the nVidia ones? Would it end up looking better? =/

Still won't work. The TV won't be recognized by 3D Vision as a compatible monitor.
