Changing Max depth in compatibility mode?
Hi, We know that by editing the registry value of MonitorSize, we can increase the maximum depth of 3D. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to have any effect on compatibility mode (fake 3D / 2.5D). Would anyone know how this Max Depth (separation) can be edited? Thanks!

IIRC the change came sometime after the 337.88 Drivers, I ranted about it here, there, and probably a few other places. When I was testing my DepthHack it seemed like CM was ignoring the MonitorSize value in the registry altogether, I was pissed off that they broke yet another thing so I didn't bother wasting anymore of my time on it ... my guess is they may be getting the dimensions from the EDID(?), that's if the 'Depth' is any different on a different size Monitor or TV.

Thanks for the reply TsaebehT. I have made a custom EDID which doesn't contain screen size data so there is the possibility that its hard coded :( Perhaps its stored someplace else in the registry? There is a bo3b's wiki which lists keys here: http://wiki.bo3b.net/index.php?title=Driver_Profile_Settings Interestingly, under compatibility mode, there is a key called 2DDConvergence (0x709adadb) I wonder if after the 337.88 there is a new key which would be named something like 2DDSeparation...
