Ok guys I am having issues with my emitter turning off by itself after about 5 minutes of being idle. I installed latest version of Drivers and when I boot up Win 8.1 Pro everything lights up and works ok but after 5 minutes the green nvidia logo on the emitter flashes green then turns off and if you want to use it I need to unplug it or reboot however it lights back up again if I double click the emitter icon under the Devices and Printer settings. I have noticed that the version numbers don't seem to all match under the driver info which I have read somewhere else in the forums that if that happen the you get this kinda issue. Is nVidia going to fix this in the next driver release as it is real annoying that you have to do this everytime. I tested this under Win 7 Home and it doesn't turn off so not sure if it is a Win 8.1 issue with the drivers or what?
Please investigate and fix.
Thanks guys

Hey,
Don't expect an Nvidia moderator to come and reply here! These are user forums only!!!
What you describe there is NOT a driver issue but rather A WINDOWS 8.1 issue.... Check your POWER PLANS and that IT(Windows) doesn't CUT POWER to the USB hubs after some time....
(Try put the power plan to MAX performance in Windows->Power Options.) Also check the advanced section of Power Options. I bet is hiding in there.. Also check your BIOS settings that they don't cut power on USB in some "cases".
Hope this helps:)
