PANASONIC HDC-SDT750PP Play video's from this 3D camera?
1 / 2
I have the new Panasonic HDC-SDT750PP 3D CAMCORDER. can 3D vision play 3D video's from this camera? I tried, but it looks like I need software that triggers the side by side video frames into 3D mode.

The free NVIDIA 3D Video Player doesn't come with any CODEC and use whatever CODECs you have installed on your PC. In this case, the Panasonic camera captures clips in H.264, so you will need to acquire an H.264 CODEC if you don't have one on your PC. There are multiple vendors such as CORECODEC (CoreAVC @ ~$10) or Free-Codecs.com which offer these. You may also want to check the software CD that came with your camcorder as it may also contain the CODEC software that you need.

I suspect that you downloaded an H.264 CODEC that is not compatible with the Panasonic camcorder. I would suggest that you uninstall it and install the software that came with your Camcorder instead. Personally, I use COREAVC H.264 CODEC with our Panasonic Camcorder and it works fine with the NVIDIA 3D Video Player.

I purchased COREAVC H.264 CODEC and my video plays fine in 2D mode but when I select stereo mode the three screens flashes and blanks out completely. the 3D vision video player stops responding, I end up shutting my pc down

Ok then, I saved a 3D video to my playlist and the playlist that I created shows up in the 3D vision viewer open file at all files but there's only 577kb of info there so I think the playlist shows up but doesn't contain the 3D video because when I open the file, 3D vision says I need codec
