I did email them yesterday, but as usual the weekend will get in the way of a reply, plus at the age it is I would prefer not to receive a reconditioned model.

The titan's I received were not reconditioned. My friend had a old 8800Gt video card which carry a lifetime warranty 6 months ago it went dead he contacted EVGA and was sent a 560Ti as a replacement. Just sent another e-mail and ask them if you will receive a recondition or new video card. Anyway if the recondition model works fine what is the big deal as you said it's an old card.

As an aside, reconditioned models are generally better tested, so more likely to work.

I'm sorry I misread your statement but a working video card with no questions (EVGA Return) recondition or new is better then a non working video card. Also did you register the video card at EVGA Website ? If not do so .

Well EVGA are going to RMA it so time will tell if faulty or software incompatibility with 3DTV Play (which I would say is faulty for failing to do the required job anyway).
