Ahh whispered world, one of my most loved hated games. Frustrating, beautiful, poetic and absurd. Only dare to play with a walkthrough at hand, as some of those puzzles are just plain illogical.
It is seriously beautiful though, despite it's flaws, with so much love wrapped up in it. Just prapre for frustration and you should be good.

The puzzles in Whispered World can't be as bad as Still Life ... can they? That games puzzles were completely idiotic.
@Anoyone who's interested the deal end in a little under 3 hours.
[quote="TsaebehT"]This on sale on steam for $6.79 for the next 48 hrs or so, cheapest it's been according to steamgamesales. Personally I love 2D games ... hand drawn games, I feel like we lost out on them once the explosion of polygon based games happened. Never really got that 'next-gen' of 2D games, high resolutions, extreme amounts of parallax scrolling. Needless to say I'll definitely be purchasing this one. There's very few 2D games in 3D on the PC, they're on the 3ds and PS3 but even when they come to PC they cut the 3D. For instance Mutant Mudds and Rocketbirds, both great in 3D just not on PC.

I haven't played still life, but I can assure you that a couple of the puzzles are simply ludicrous with absolutely no hint to the level of insanity needed to make a puzzle work! With adventure games I always allow myself 15 minutes of frustration (unsolvable puzzle) before using a guide. I have to admit to using a guide for about 40% of the puzzles in this game. I simply refuse to use trial and error for a few hours until something sticks! I did that in the past, but games have moved on ;-)

Can you leave feedback with what you think of sweetFX after you use it? Would be interesting to know if you think it adds to the game, as normally I dislike visual mods unless they really only add positively to the original art.

Well usually I use iforce.nz to load up screenshots and share them. But yesterday the site was not working properly so I googled and selected the first picture sharing website that I came across... The crappy links apparently are from there...
There I fixed it:))
