Mass Effect: Andromeda - 3D Vision Fix (3D Vision Partial-fix released)

Right, so after extensive testing:
- The crashing is NOT a game bug. I can't see any memory leak both in VRAM or RAM on both Windows 10 or Windows 7.
- Windows 10 (378.92) drivers ... EOS... crashes= after 5-10 minutes. VRAM usage less than 6 GB. RAM usage less than 12GB. Pagefile anywhere from 10GB to 48GB same result.
- Windows 7 (378.92) drivers... EOS... NO CRASH in 2.5 hours. VRAM usage usage less than 6 GB. RAM usage less than 12GB.
So, is definitely a BUG in the Nvidia drivers. (It could also be a bug triggered by Windows 10 as it uses different WDDM than Windows 7 and it WAS ALWAYS a big pain in 3D Vision).
Same machine, same settings : 3D Surround, SLI 2x980Ti. Same clocks, etc.
I think somebody already mentioned this before, in a previous post. I can confirm this too;)

Yeah, once I set 32gb constant for the page file I havent had a crash, but I am only playing on a single screen so I bet it's far compounded in surround.

CM is actually good. Sure there are some halos, but after 15 minutes I got used to it:) I actually would want more than 100% depth with CM here:)))

And what convergence you use? can you poste your settings? I can try it with the haloes but i need huge conv to simulate a noticable 3D effect in my eyes.... (i am used to 100 % depth an high conv in normal 3d vision mode (this is like beeing a junky, need more drugs from time to time ^^)

Problem is the engine that uses all the lighting and shadows system in Compute Shaders. (If you dig around, you will see that I was able to fix 90% of the stuff already. Only some MAJOR lights render in one eye and I can't make them render in both eyes! I know how to fix them, but they JUST don't appear in both eyes :( )
To date, no other game uses Compute shaders to this huge extent, except ALL Frosbite3 games. In previous games, we could get away with disable the Compute shader lighting path. Here if we do, it will be very "bland" and some scenes are purely unlit.
I hoped DarkStarSword would help me, as he is the only person who can do this. But, he currently said he is traversing a difficult period and can't. So, unless he comes back or somebody else who understands this stuff is willing to help, we are without the "means" to make a proper fix.

I have read about DSS problems, knowing this from my father and my selfe. THIS can be a fight against time and it selve, this is not understood by persons not having this, i had this by myselfe but some changes @work and finding my slefe helped me to prevent these destructive emotions and "get happy with little things". But there is unfortunately no recipe curing it.
I have your CM profile but id like to know your conv/sep settings from the saved 3d vision profile (\Documents\NVStereoscopic3D.LOG\MassEffectAndromeda)
If migoto works, is it possible to create a "fix" with several conv/sep settings to switch it in different areas in the game like dialoges or some thing like that? some areas will hurt me, using high sep/conv, some not and dialoges or reading logs will hurt again so i think i can liove with CM this time if i can change the settings on demand.

Yeah the haloing is kinda bad, but it's not bad enough to not play in 3d imo.
Honestly I find it fine as it is and I am VERY picky when it comes to 3dvision.

Hi Losti, i donate the game to shared accounts for shaderhackers, then buy the game i think that now is not the problem. I'm so interested in the fix too, but Helifax needs help and one of the few people in the world be able to help him is DarkStarSword but now he is offline (hope he gets well soon;)). Sincerely I dont understand why there is so poor interest in this game for the rest of shaderhackers, mike_ar69 for example or DJ-RK must be very busy :(.
I am also willing to donate money if it is neccesary (but there are things that can not be bought with money).
Anyway, i'm very grateful to all the shaderhackers who devote countless hours for the rest to enjoy.

Recently a lot of games could not be fixed... I think we need some new momentum. I tried myself to learn shader-hacking several times, but this is just to difficult for me. Person with now IT skills at all. Give it some time. This new momentum might come one day again. Another break through like with Dx11 fixes. But I agree I would also like to play this game in glorius 3d. Because it is not a bad game at all. It's fun. Playing games in 2d actually hurts my eyes.

Problem like any other FB3 game is that some lights are rendered only in one eye. But, If I change some params in the engine, that forces to "reinit" the lights appear and STAY for like 3 seconds before it goes dark in one eye!

And what convergence you use? can you poste your settings? I can try it with the haloes but i need huge conv to simulate a noticable 3D effect in my eyes.... (i am used to 100 % depth an high conv in normal 3d vision mode (this is like beeing a junky, need more drugs from time to time ^^)
DAMN DAMN, the game is not fixable with MIGOTO atm or is it "just" not possible for you (the migoto needs an update???)
DMAN, every (in my eyes) crappy game was fixed, and ME is out ff interest?? WTF ?? Where can i put a donation to make it possible anyone fix the game???

Problem is the engine that uses all the lighting and shadows system in Compute Shaders. (If you dig around, you will see that I was able to fix 90% of the stuff already. Only some MAJOR lights render in one eye and I can't make them render in both eyes! I know how to fix them, but they JUST don't appear in both eyes :( )
To date, no other game uses Compute shaders to this huge extent, except ALL Frosbite3 games. In previous games, we could get away with disable the Compute shader lighting path. Here if we do, it will be very "bland" and some scenes are purely unlit.
I hoped DarkStarSword would help me, as he is the only person who can do this. But, he currently said he is traversing a difficult period and can't. So, unless he comes back or somebody else who understands this stuff is willing to help, we are without the "means" to make a proper fix.

I have read about DSS problems, knowing this from my father and my selfe. THIS can be a fight against time and it selve, this is not understood by persons not having this, i had this by myselfe but some changes @work and finding my slefe helped me to prevent these destructive emotions and "get happy with little things". But there is unfortunately no recipe curing it.
I have your CM profile but id like to know your conv/sep settings from the saved 3d vision profile (\Documents\NVStereoscopic3D.LOG\MassEffectAndromeda)
If migoto works, is it possible to create a "fix" with several conv/sep settings to switch it in different areas in the game like dialoges or some thing like that? some areas will hurt me, using high sep/conv, some not and dialoges or reading logs will hurt again so i think i can liove with CM this time if i can change the settings on demand.

Honestly I find it fine as it is and I am VERY picky when it comes to 3dvision.

Hi Losti, i donate the game to shared accounts for shaderhackers, then buy the game i think that now is not the problem. I'm so interested in the fix too, but Helifax needs help and one of the few people in the world be able to help him is DarkStarSword but now he is offline (hope he gets well soon;)). Sincerely I dont understand why there is so poor interest in this game for the rest of shaderhackers, mike_ar69 for example or DJ-RK must be very busy :(.
I am also willing to donate money if it is neccesary (but there are things that can not be bought with money).
Anyway, i'm very grateful to all the shaderhackers who devote countless hours for the rest to enjoy.

Problem like any other FB3 game is that some lights are rendered only in one eye. But, If I change some params in the engine, that forces to "reinit" the lights appear and STAY for like 3 seconds before it goes dark in one eye!
I think this is a game issue, as this is the only one that does this. All other games run fine with Computes rendering twice, but all FB3 games have this behaviour.

I looked in the shaders, all that I could hunt and find and cannot understand why this would happen:(
There are 2 shaders for the lights. One which is "tiny" that actually controls the tiles and one that does the rendering and is GIGANTIC.
In the above images, I already fixed the shadows and light position. But the lights simply TURN off in one eye...
So yeah, the game would be fixed if it would render PROPERLY for both eyes...
