3D vision is a nightmare!
Ok so i got 3D vision for Xmas and its been a complete nightmare ive got it to work for a few min and its amazing but everything else if giving me headaches literally

ive tried every driver posted on Nvidias site, taking out a card, single gpu mode, SLI enabled every variasion of setting in nvidia control panel i could think of all with the same problems :(

#1 my glasses shut off randomly and i have to minimize the game and bring it back up to get em back on
#2 my glasses will blink (not flicker) if i take them off and look at them one or both lenses will turn black randomly for about 1/4 secondish sometimes not for like 30min sometimes every few seconds
#3 my computer likes the 195 drivers but they dont work at all with 3D vison :(
#4 doubles EVERYWERE!! like i will start playing left 4 dead 2 and everything will be in focus then slowly they move apart till i cant shoot right and i start to get a headache
#5 shadows are in the wrong places say your looking at a window one eye will see a shadow of the window on one side and the other eye will see another shadow on the other again another headache (literally)
#5 Works AMAZING in wow OMG!! I love it, except my interface bugs out its puts the black backgrounds of my interface in the middle of my screen and there only visible thru the left eye if you look at my interface its see thru when it should also be black :( and its not just my interface everything even the notes blizz puts in the middle of your screen are off or doubled. (again another headache and i have to shut it off)

The problem is not 3D vision , it's X-perl, i have it too and i have same problem, but Blizzard is not responsable of the addons bug

Well as far as your glasses are concerned, they sound faulty to me.

I have never had mine Blink or Turn themselves off, (only after 15 mins of inactivity)

I would return your 3D kit and get a new one just to be sure.

Thx guys I guess I will exchange out my glasses :( atleast you guys gave me some input all I got from Nvidia was "plz reinstall your drivers" after I told them i have tried every single driver they have and reformatted my entire system its said when the ppl on forums are more help than the ppl who actually get paid to solve problems :(

and the Xperl thing I wish blizz or Nvidia would look into it seeing as I bet 90% of wow players probably use Xperl

1.) I really doubt 90% are using x-perl /shifty.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':shifty:' />

2.) The WoW issue with the misplaced backgrounds is not confined to x-perl and a lot more addons - including some parts of the default interface - exhibit problems with 2d elements being incorrectly rendered. I don't know whether it has to do with the frame strata interpretation of the WoW engine or with a recent driver change, but half my windows are rendered incorrenctly, either I get double/misplaced/shifted backgrounds, or I get really bad flickering with them. Some of those can be fixed by doing just a slightly adjustment of the 3D depth, upon which they seem to reset and look okay until the next time I start WoW. But it doesn't work with all, most notably it doesn't work with any addons that do additional tooltips with their own text and background (stuff like auctioneer and so on). The bigger the 3D depth is set, the farther to the left and/or right the additonal tooltip/background is from where it should be.

You must use an old drivers... I'm using 190.62 version of nvidia drivers with xperl-unitframes in wow and it's run perfectly!

Good luck!!
