This would be amazing. I Think dx11 also added higher graphics options that were grayed out in dx9 mode for some reason, not just tessellation.
I know Masterotaku was working on a fix for this for DX11, but his Hard Drive died at the time and he lost everything which included lots of hours of work on the game. I wouldn't blame anyone for getting disappointed and moving on to other things after that.
Thanks a lot Losti! I remember I played this with some subpar 3d a loong time ago, amazing to see a proper fix, like I needed more excuses to play DA2 again XP
I hope real life is treating you well, take care!

All hail 3d modders DHR, MasterOtaku, Losti, Necropants, Helifax, bo3b, mike_ar69, Flugan, DarkStarSword, 4everAwake, 3d4dd and so many more helping to keep the 3d dream alive, find their 3d fixes at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ Also check my site for spanish VR and mobile gaming news: www.gamermovil.com
Congratulations on the fix. I don't know when I'll play it, but I'll try to take a look at the remaining issues when that happens. For example: does ambient occlusion flicker for both eyes at the same time? Is it more stable the lower the separation you use?
I'd also like to know more about this: "some shadows from characters while lights from casing appears are disabled, no fix here this time".

Hi, this makes me want to improve my assembler to provide error messages but I will first work to resurrect my wrapper. Makes things easier to integrate with regex. Will also add UA support,

Il give you some screenshots this days.
I was able to correct it but they damn scale with convergence, wether i have removed it. Or let me tell it the other way: if i remove the convergence the shadows are too much in depth or @ scren depth, annyway but not OK. Hence i make a multiplayer to ot but THAN it is dependend from the convergence again....and its not correct in any situation.
I think we need some inverse matrix operation here.
Ill give you some more details here if i find some time...ill give you the sahders for this. Ill try to have a look in DHRs explaination for the matrix inverse because i think this is the trick here....may be.....you can have a look later on oday @ the shaders.
The AO flickers in both eyes as far as i can say. dont know if they where in correct depth, wasn care about it because adding some MXOA via ReShade is an option here i think and the AO strength is....near not noticable ^^
Ill give you some screenshots here.

OK guys listen.......
This is REALLY REALLY REALLY strange.....REALLY STRANGE!!!!!
Often "some" problems are caused by SLI ... hence i disable SLI while fixing up a game....
For DA2 AO was flicker ... Flickering is often seen using SLI .... but i have disabled SLI....
2 Shadow shaders are "out of depth" i wasnt able to fix those.....i skipped this in the current fix....
Everything was OK here .... Disable AO in the game, skipp the wrong shadow shaders....
There was a/some windows update/s those days (windows 10) ... some of it i applyed today....
I wasnt able to start DeadRising 4 without some one ey was faded out issue or green image on one eye....
Dont ask my why but after copying some files .... it was working, i think i have used some files from DR3 fix....BUT: The Workaround i left in september was working .... refering one eye issues and so on...
OK....so far so good.....
Switched to Dragon Age 2 and want to make ScreenShots of the remaining issues here for masterotaku....
WTF...one eye fade issue like in DR4, or green eye issue.... WTF ??? ... IT WAS WORKING YESTERDAY!!!
....ok the first thing i suggest in my fix posts: REINSTALL NVIDIA DRIVER ... so i did....
as i am used to, i enabled SLI after it....not thinking about it....because i will test fixes/fix games without SLI.....but this was a routine action, hence i have SLI activated now instead of the state befoer reinstall the driver....
Starting Dragon Age 2....PUHHHHHH Green image is gone, as well as one eye fade out.... COOLL
....ok i want to take some screens shots of the remaining issues....flickering AO if enabled, 2 wrong shadows....
hm.... WTF everything was OK ? AO = cool, shadows = corrrect.... WTF???
I disabled SLI ....
....One eye/green problems in menue ... the 2 shadows where wrong, the AO flickers....
...restart PC and game, nothing changed....
I reenabled SLI
hm.... WTF everything was OK ? AO = cool, shadows = corrrect.... WTF???
.
.
.
May i should check DR4 with SLI ??? :-)
.

.
OK ... This is a situation i never have had before and i dont know if this is a problem of my system or a system update but in conclusion: I have 2 cards installed, disabling SLI will breake 3D completely since windows update having SLI disabled. The mentioned shadows and AO-flicker was always present with NON SLI but not the problem with the one eye thing... But NOW with SLI the shadows are correct, AO will be ok not flicker and the one eye/green issue is gone...
HENCE:
- i need some one who has only installed a single card and who will test the fix as it is released @ Helix Blog
- Than enable Ambient Occlusion Screen Space Reflection in game and use this version, that enables the broken shadows and report back. Is AO flicker or not? Are the shadows while casting that appears near haracters that casts or a casting bolt will hit an enemy OK??? or wring??

Please report back here.....strange things are going on here ^^ id like to know your findings ^^
Question for my selfe:
- will SLI settings in the profile make problems if you run a system with 2 cards but SLI is disabled in some special cases/games?? ---- check this 15.11.2018 for DA2
