Thanks for confirming jhgator1777.
Just posted my fix to the blog (only 2 years late, almost, lol). Th3_N3philim, would you mind removing your previous blog entry to avoid confusion?

Removed it DJ-RK and mentioned your new fix.. I did not see how to delete it permanently tho..
Thank you for that fix looks real good well last time I played it ;)
@DJ-RK Currently still using Nightly WIP 4-18, so it's great to know that there's now an updated fix available. Thanks for setting aside your time and effort for this one.
@The3_N3philim Likewise, thanks also for having looked into this game fix yourself.

Are you sure you're not confusing this game FFXIV with FFXV? Because I only ever named one of my fixes a "nightly" fix and that was for FFXV. masterotaku has since made further progress with FFXV, so you may want to find that thread to get that update version.

Yep, guilty. Apologies for the thread de-rail here, but regarding FFXV, version 4-18 didn't uninstall for some reason, so rather than uninstall the entire game, which is huge, instead I re-installed your FFXV fix version 4-18 over it, since initially that particular version of your fix had caused a massive slowdown in-game. Having reinstalled that fix, the slowdown issue corrected itself and that's the version I've been using ever since then. Although it's not a complete fix nevertheless it's still enjoyable enough for me. I hasten to add here that I'm sure that masterotaku's final fix is awesome, and it's obviously good to know that that's available as well. So with that said, I'll stop being a nuisance now.

Hardly being a nuisance. Glad to hear you're still getting decent mileage out of that FFXV fix and that you got that slowdown issue sorted out. You might be ok to just install masterotaku's updated fix over my previous version since I believe he worked on my last version as a base and just expanded upon it. Either way, yeah, redownloading and reinstalling that massive game would be a pain, especially if you don't have a gigabit connection like myself (one of the perks of being a former telco technician).

I'm still smarting at getting these two games mixed up. In spite of the temptation to do otherwise, I think it'd be unbecoming of me to now blame the Romans for my oversight, so I won't.
If you're fairly sure about installing masterokatu's latest fix for FFXV over my current one, then I'll certainly bare that option in mind. Thanks a lot for that suggestion.
Downloading and installation time...definitely a factor, since in addition to that, I'm not updating Steam et al just in case any further game updates break the fixes on games that I haven't even gotten around to playing yet.

Do you guys have problems with the Golden saucer mini games, where there is supposed to be a slider that moves back and forth such as Monster toss and cuff a cur , crystal tower striker, the slider does not move. I tried turning 3d off, but still not seeing it.

Sorry man, don't have an active subscription going to confirm this. I've kinda been thinking about starting back up, but I know if/when I do that'll become a major time sink and I'm not quite certain I'm ready to make that commitment.

So far I have been playing the shadowbringers expansion(which is very good) , not completed main scenario yet , but I am up to the level 75 MSQ and no shaders broken so far. Will update again when I finish.

Glad to hear it. I hear the new expansion has a really good story, so I'm somewhat interested in checking it out sometime in the future. Be nice to be able to jump back in without needing to worry about refixing much.
