3d Vision with Asus Rog Swift and SLI (ETA for FIX)
yes, it's 60 fps per eye. you should monitor your gpu usage with afterburner.

If the Helix Fix includes another game profile, this could be the explanation.
I've been using SLI 2-way with 980Ti's on an ROG Swift at 1440p for a couple of months now, and I've been playing Deus Ex Human Revolution and Batman Arkham City in 3D at 1440p with no issues. Seeing this thread is the first time I've heard of a problem. Is the problem you guys are talking about that the NVidia Control Panel *says* SLI is enabled but benchmarks show it's running on a single GPU? Or is it that you can't get the control panel to enable SLI at all? If it's the former, i.e., an "invisible" problem, then I can't swear I don't have it, maybe a single 980Ti is enough to get good performance, but Control Panel shows SLI is enabled and I get 1440p resolution and good framerate with no graphic issues.
BTW, I'm assuming when fraps reports 60fps in 3D, that that is actually 120fps divided by 2 because the 3D requires two separate images. Is this correct? If it's not, then for some reason I'm limited to 60fps in 3d at 1440p. Still looks great though.
The only real bug I'm experiencing is that every time I reboot the display type in Control Panel resets to 3D Vision Discover, and the glasses and emitter won't activate in that mode. I have to go into Control Panel and reset the display type to "Asus 120Hz 3D LCD" after every reboot to get it to work properly.

We can enable SLI in NVCPL, this is not the issue. The issue is, that GPU2 has no load. With MSI Afterburner, you can monitor your GPU load. Also the frame rate indicates, that only one GPU is working. With my old Benq 3D-Vision display, SLI with 3D-Vision works fine, only in combination with the ASUS ROG Swift display causes the troubles.
I can also confirm the issue with reset to "3D Vision Discover" instead of "Asus 120Hz 3D LCD", very annoying.

Thanks for the tip on Afterburner, I tried it out. Couldn't really get heavy video activity in Deus Ex Human Revolution so I fired up Witcher 3 to try it out. I can confirm GPU2 wasn't doing anything at all in 3D mode. Exiting 3D mode and activating GSync, at least it seemed to function properly there. So the 2nd video card wasn't a complete waste :/
Thankfully the single 980Ti appears to be able to handle Witcher 3 3D at a decent framerate. But yeah, add me to the list that would really like to see this fixed. Spent $1400 on the two cards, would really like to get full use out of both of them in 3D mode.

Does anyone know if the Acer Predator XB270HUbprz display also has this problem?

If it doesn`t support 3D Vision then SLI will be working normally.
Even on ROG Swift SLI works fine if you switch off 3D in Control Panel.
I tested a 'ROG Swift' for some time but returned it - one reason being that because of the SLI bug it currently seems impossible to drive it adequately (one GTX 980 Ti certainly is NOT overkill but can barely make 1440x2560 work (somehow) on many games - that is in true 3D of course).
Then I also considered the Acer XB270HU as an alternative. But apparently it doesn't feature '3D Vision'. And that may be the case because the panel isn't quite "fast" enough to be 3D Vision compatible ...

I didn't know that the Acer display doesn't support 3D-Vision.
I bought the Rog Swift only for 3D-Vision. If I play in 2D, I use my Asus PB279Q display to play in 2160p. I also know that 3D works without SLI on the Rog Swift, but this is not very satisfying.

I ment SLI works when 3D Vision is "OFF" in Control Panel.

How is the status of this issue? And ETA would be nice.
Yeah, still waiting.
I'm sitting here with a pair of Titan X's but still stumbling along with a single card at 30-45FPS in Witcher 3 3D.
