play s3D game at 3840*2160 @30p in UHD 3dtv and hoping to Nvidia
I am using samsung uhdtv 55f9000af
and playing s3d game 3840*2160 top and bottom mode with using tridef 3d ignition sw
from uhdtv samsung does not support framesequential mode any more
so side by side or top and bottom is only way to play s3d game
i have tested many game in top and bottom 3d mode
the result was awesome
3840*1080P T&B quality is better than 1920*1080P frame sequential mode
i'v tested 3840*2160 side by side(actually 1920*2160)
but it was not good as Top and Bottom way
if you experence the fantastic graphic quality of uhd 3dtv then you will never back to full hd tv
I guarantee that there is no 3d monitor which show better good s3d quality than samsung uhd tv
the only present problem to playing game is limitation of 30hz(fps)
but it will be solve soonerly because samsung will support hdmi 2.0 spec in the near future
and then 3840*2160@60P(actually 3840*1080@60P) s3d game could be playable
after using uhd3dtv
I strongly hope to NVIDIA to support top and bottom mode for uhd 3dtv
in the near future
it will be called UHD 3DTV Play and i will absolutly buy it 10000000% :)

I meant 1920*1080P frame sequential
If there present 3840*2160*60P frame sequential then it would be world best
but it will not be come
because to make it tv need 3840*2160*120hz input
it may be impossible
anyway 1920*1080P60FPS framesequential full hdtv or 120hz 3d monitor etc... <<<<<<<<<< 3840*2160*60FPS Top and Bottom in uhdtv

Sounds awesome mate, i would love to see it. i think 30hz would kill me though. frame sequential at 60hz (30fps per eye) already makes me a bit quezy.
Couple of Q's on the TV...
> do they support pixel mode (checker board)? or have all those modes been removed?
> I assume your changing the input label to PC on the sammy?
Im still waiting to see what happens with HDMI 2 and sammy tvs before making the swith.

1>yes they removed all 3d mode except 3ways (side by side top and bottom and 2d=>3d soft mode)
2>yes of course , i am using PC input label and i conformed about this matter at samsung help desk

Half resolutions are the max that HDMI 2.0 and even displayport bandwidth will allow. That why i've got my fingers crossed for checkerboard.
Perhaps the additional displayport port will be able to work along side the HDMI port to allow dual input. Its worth sending an email to tech support about it i'd say. I think the only reason HDMI can't do that with multiple ports is because it goes through a HDCP system although thats just a guess. I've keep meaning to send emails to Panasonic about checkerboard support for its HDMI 2.0 UHD TV, maybe we can inquire about this to them and other manufacturers while letting them know interest is there. I've already emailed Samsung about checkerboard on 4k twice.

Not really related, but I'd absolutely love for somebody to release a 1440p passive 3D G-Sync monitor. Unless the price was outrageous, I'd day one it.

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530
i hope to someone to test it
