I don't think anyone here would object to that - just be sure to link to the blog page itself, and not directly to the fix zips. :)

the sheets in WSGF permit to attach some files. it's convenient. but the zips aren't modified, and HELIXTEAM is linked in the description. the content of HELIXTEAM permit to complete the "Stereoscopic-3D Solution & Issues" area

I think it's OK to link to the HelixMod page, but I don't think it is a good idea to copy the setup text or add our zip files to their web pages. The reason that is bad form is because we update our fixes all the time. And if you copy the text and zip file you are setting late comers up for an inferior experience, because they may not know to look for the primary page. Stale web pages are lame. Please just add links to the appropriate pages on HelixModBlog. Edit: The Forest is actually a good example for why this is bad. Look at how many updates DarkStarSword made to the game, and the number of file fixes added. At any point in time, anything static on WSGF would be out of date, and I expect it is unlikely for people to update those pages.

I have to agree. Not only does the blog keep the most up to date version of the fix alongside setup notes and comment threads (which often contain useful info), it credits the authors and (in some cases) gives their donation links. Best not to attach the fixes themselves, just link to the appropriate page.

mmmmmh you are right for updates. i'd really like to keep the content in the sheet for practicality. i think i found a good agreement. i added this : "The patch is likely to be updated, do not hesitate to click on the Helixteam link to check/donate. Please update the file on WGSF if necessary. Thank you!" i'll repeat for each game.

It's much more practical to link to the blog page, and gives proper credit to the fixers. Please just link to the blog.

You've taken the attribution out of the text you've added, so you are specifically taking credit for DarkStarSword's fix. This is not OK.

Just link to the blog page please, it's by far the better option.

At the end of the day greatxerox, you're not in a position to make these decisions. If the 3D fixers ask you to just link to the blog, then that's what you should do.

Yeah, link to the blog. I sometimes go back to old fixes and update 3Dmigoto or do some improvements/changes or change the instructions and description.

You also have the fix itself on the page as a download. You've removed the attribution to DarkStarSword's work, and his Patreon link. At the top of the page it has your name. So, you've made it look like it's your fix. Moreover, the text will be stale, the fix itself will be stale. Having stale copies on the web is absolutely terrible for the end user. You are going about this the completely wrong way. Just post a link to HelixModBlog page as the definitive version. Add some descriptive text- that you write, if you like.
