For the few minutes with the 3d vision my eyes was tickling/kinda hearts.
But now i am playing for HOURS and HOURS without any inconvenience.
The second thought is about focus.
Whats with it? i've heard that it is not good that eyes are changing "virtual"-focus on a flat-display.
But maybe it is a good thing my eye-muscles constantly have some exercise, even if it is cheating :)
I would like to discuss it with other users, what do you think? What was you experience?
Maybe it will rise/lower some concerns of the potential 3d vision costumers.
I have often wondered the same thing and also if there are any adverse side effects of long term stereoscopic viewing. I am not sure but I swear 3d vision has improved my vision while driving and looking at things that are off in the distance in real life but when i first got 3d I was worried about damaging my eyes.

Yeah, when you first try it for the first time it's weird and disorienting. I had to turn the slider waaaay back to like 5% to keep from getting completely dizzy. lol Couldn't click on things, couldn't quite read text on the screen, etc. Then after a couple of hours once your eyes & brain get used to it, that totally goes away. Before long, you can't even imagine gaming in 2d ever again. :)

In our office the Health and Safetly people tell us to look away from our monitors and focus our eyes on something really far away every hour or so, as keeping your eyes focused on a fixed point for too long can be bad for them.
PLaying in 3d would counter act this as you generally have to refocus your eyes constantly.
So by following my rather spurious logic to its conclusion, i proclaim;
NOT PLAYING IN 3d WILL MAKE YOU GO BLIND!!

I personally neither have problems with shutterrates (gamed for quite some time with e-dims and 85Hz) or stereoviewing itself for as long as settings are appropriate. Shutters are no close to beat the impression of a passive rig though.

READ THE FOLLOWING WARNINGS
BEFORE YOU OR YOUR CHILD USE
THE GEFORCE 3D VISION
WARNING – Seizures
BEFORE using GeForce 3D Vision you should take the
“User Vision Test,” which will initiate when you turn on your
GeForce 3D Vision for the first time. If you cannot see the image in
3D during the User Vision Test , DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.
Continued use may result in health-related complications.
Photosensitive Seizure Warning – Some individuals may experience a
seizure or other complications when exposed to certain visual images,
including flashing lights or patterns that may appear in video games.
If you or any of your relatives have a history of seizures or epilepsy,
consult a doctor before using GeForce 3D Vision. Even people who have
no history of seizures or epilepsy may have an undiagnosed condition
that can cause these “photosensitive epileptic seizures.” Symptoms
may include, among others: (1) Lightheadedness, (2) Altered vision,
(3) Eye or face twitching, (4) Involuntary movements, (5) Convulsions,
(6) Loss of awareness, (7) Confusion, (8) Disorientation, (9) Nausea
If you experience any of these problems immediately stop using GeForce
3D Vision and consult a physician. Parents should monitor and ask
their children about the above symptoms - children and teenagers
may be more likely than adults to experience these symptoms.
You may be able to reduce the risk of photosensitive
epileptic seizures by taking the following precautions:
Do not play when you are drowsy, >> fatigued or ill.
>> Do not use the GeForce 3D Vision for extended periods of time.
>> Use the GeForce 3D Vision after reducing the depth setting.
>> Use the GeForce 3D Vision with a refresh rate of 100 Hz or higher.

All I will say is this.
I suffer from insane motion sickness (in first person perspective) and Migraines in Video games.
Ever since I have started to play in 3d vision these problems have all but disappeared.
Take that as you will.
