You need .ini tweaking to run RCRN with Helix 3D fix. RL + RCRN work great together

RCRN is listed as being incompatible with Realistic Lighting on it's main page.

Edit: I use this to make my Skyrim look god like. You need a serious system for this though (he does point out steps to skip if you don't have an uber system)...

Thanks, I was thinking about using STEP but was nervous about running into 3DVision / Helix issues. Is the 2gig of memory in a gtx760 card enough to handle STEP and also run in 3D Vision? (My understanding is that 3DVision uses more vram.) Also I came across a few more popular and highly rated mods -- are these Helix friendly?:

Helix is pretty much 100% compatible with everything. The only issue is with FXAA injectors that also use a d3d9.dll file... and mostly because it's the same file name (hence the need for the proxy renaming work around).

With the change in shadows I can see the shadow fix maybe causing crashes on some systems because shadows now have a more strained rendering method with the helix mod, but everything else should be 100% fine unless it tries to alter the same thing.. Depth of the Moons/sky/sun, how the water edges are rendered, more shadows.. that's about it.

Has anyone tried to see if the new 1.6 beta patch has any 3D implications?

3D is still broken without Helix Fix.

If that's true I wasn't aware of that, but I only use RCRN's. It's possible, they both use the same sort of shader altering process.

Just about any mod that loads like a normal mod though (something you can use Nexus Mod Manager to load, in other words) should be 100% fine.

I use 99% of the mods listed in STEP and there's no problems.

Anybody know if Claralux behaves with Helix? I've read that sometimes lights in 3DVision tend to ghost.

Very bright objects like lights will ghost with very dark objects. The amount depends on your displays. Newer lcd's less so. DLP not at all/little. Etc. A good test is to play dead space 1/2(not sure if demo).

People should really upload videos of skyrim using helix's fix + other mods onto either youtube/ 3d vision live so people can see what they are missing and what their options are. I will even probably link it on skyrim page on the site.

I'm not quite sure, but I think in the 1.6 beta, quest markers aren't showing up correctly similar to crosshairs. Was this a problem in 1.5, I forgot?

EDIT: Skills tree also has odd depth perception.

If anyone wants help with mods or modding an ENB also let me know, all these pics were from my custom ENB.

Is anyone able to confirm that they get this problem in 3D, because I'm at a real loss.
