Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed, any success?

Hi Chaps :)
Just recently got this as I've been playing it on the vita and love it! glad to see its even better on PC and I'm now trying to get the 3D working better. I apologise but i haven't done this sort of editing before to make a 3D game work properly, so i was wondering if someone would mind explaining it a bit more?
I got the inspector and edited the prototype profile with the sonic executable like you said which has got rid of the water doubling problem, but shadows are still horrid and there's doubling in the distance, i haven't done anything with those vertex shaders though as i don't know what I'm supposed to do with them :( could someone elaborate for me please?
Thanks in advance

I get bars on the side of my screen that are rendering differently from the rest of it, and it is hard to keep a network connection while using this mod. Other than those 2 issues, the 3D works great but the game server seems to know something is amiss when playing online.

Full instructions are here:

but all I think you have to do is unpack this:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/eqz/shaderoverridesonic.zip
into the game's main directory, where the exe is to run the game.

The bars are most likely frustrum, you can cycle through the frustrum settings with ctrl+F11 in-game, or set your maximum pre-rendered frames to 1 in the control panel.

Hi guys! I think I did something wrong.. I guess I'm using steam version and I tried to follow the guide but no success. Can anyone help me and make it easy so I could remove the HUD from the game? That's the only thing I need. I make Sonic GMVs so disabling he HUD is vital.
I hope you guys help me. Thanks! ^_^

I wonder if that's because of the drivers (350.12) but I have a problem I didn't have previously:
During the race, the image for the left and right eye switches sides.
I race - I have to wear 3DV glasses upside down. After the race ends - another switch, so I can use the glasses normally for a little while, and then the thing repeats - for the race, I need to hurt my nose by looking through flipped glasses.
The fix is in place, it's working (F4 disables the HUD for example).
The profile in NV Inspector corrected - Sonic's exe deleted from S&ASR:T profile and prototype profile edit -added the Sonic's exe to the list.

I really like the no HUD version, since the names of the opponents are getting in the way.
I think I saw a few threads here, about switched image. I hoped it's one of those common problems with some universal solutions.
I'd rather choose to play with glasses upside down, than waste time for experimenting, deleting files, reinstall the drivers, getting the NI profiles corrected etc.
I played the game about 3x more than I probably should, I'll play a little now and then now, on medium difficulty rather than extreme which I completed before. I'd fight with it if I had the whole game ahead of me.
With this "upside down glasses" issue, I'll play a little less. Good think for my other games waiting in line. ;)
It's a pity there's no other game like this one, with so enjoyable levels/flying/3D.

Hey guys! Sorry to resurface an older game like this one but it appears the solution on helixmod isn't working for a few late adopters to 3D like myself, according to recent comments there. I've seen this game pop up on many folks' "best 3D" lists, so it would be a shame to miss out on it!
From my end, it seems like using just the shaderfixes folder helps a bit, but some effects are definitely off and are headache-inducing, particularly water reflection. The suggested steps of applying the steam's exe to the Prototype profile ends up breaking 3D. Not sure if this is a problem with an updated Prototype profile, or new nvidia drivers, or maybe even a windows 10 thing.
Either way, it would be much appreciated if someone could help us get this up and running in 3D again!

I did the patch way back when. Though Id raise an eyebrow at it being on a best of 3D list. Its okay. If you want some better examples https://www.3dvisionlive.com/user_videos/10525 or my old blog at ramblingsofa3dgamer.blogspot.com -Though I haven't recorded/wrote about anything in like 2 years.
Anywho enough with the "pitch"...
Hit CTRL-ALT-INSERT. It should say game is prototype if you did it right. If not it will say a different game on compatibility tab.
Aion profile *might* work. It has some different properties so I couldn't swear by it.
Nvidia drivers have a habit of just not installing 3D vision profiles right sometimes. Could try doing a clean reinstall if all else fails. It might seem like a dumb answer to give. Its surprising how often it works though.

Also are you saying steam's exe? Cause you add the game ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe NOT steam.exe

Yeah, ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe is the right file I hooked in. I followed a guide on how to switch profiles, and it didn't seem all that complex.
What's curious is that when I set this game's exe to either prototype or aion's profile, the ctrl-alt-ins text never appears. Also it only renders the left eye. Is this a familiar issue at all?
I'll have to check out some of those other games on your list. I gotta say that playing all my old favs with 3DTV brings real life to them. It can be a bit of a pain to get some games running but it's always worth it.

Could be a bad driver install. Unless your using something to bypass 3d tv play. If so try the trial.
Either way I'd do a clean driver reinstall. The fact that it doesnt even say anything is suspect. 8 times out of 10 when 3d vision issue related to profiles cant be explained a clean install solves it. It has a bad habit of something going wrong during install [No idea why].

No good. Oddly enough, after doing a clean install using the latest nvidia driver (364.51), I can't reassign the exe at all. It says it's being used by a profile called "Lattice Technology XVL Application," although ASN_App_PcDx9_Final.exe isn't listed there.
I went ahead and did a clean install of an older driver and it put me right back where I was. 3D will work under the Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed profile, but with issues. I can reassign the exe to prototype or aion, but if I do, 3D will stop working and the green text never shows up.

If anything went wrong when the Drivers were being uncompressed it keeps using them from the temp folder over and over again... if that doesn't work maybe give DDU a try.

You're right i have been noticing it while installing latest driver...the real profile it is listed under is launcher (the one right after lattice) but you have to scroll down quite a lot to find it.

HUD will be messed up I assume.
Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?
