Just wanted to inform you that I received my LG 65EF950V (9500) on Monday. As you might remember this was the switch unit for my LG 55C6V which produced major issues for me using 3D Vision. I tried the 55C6V not only with joker's EDID but also with innuendo's EDID and both gave me the same issues (look at the initial post of this thread). Now the LG 65EF950V is running flawless again in 3D Vision using joker's EDID (just like it did with the 55EF950V).
So while I definitely wouldn't say that the new 2016-models are not compatible with 3D Vision using the EDID override caution is definitely advised!

Sorry for my late answer. But since I switched my Internet provider days ago I am getting issues galore!
So far I really couldn't make out any differences concerning minimum viewing distance. Of course the distance between me and the screen is a little bit higher now (due to the bigger screen size) but I wouldn't say that the increased minimum distance is unproportionally higher.
Right now my distance is roughly 1.50m/5ft and it seems I could even sit a little bit closer if I wanted to. With the 55" I used the 1.20m/4ft distance. So it seems minimum viewing distance is quite proportional for me.

Thanks for checking, lohan.
Note that when viewed at 5 ft, in order for screen to maintain same 3D FOV within eye that 55 in version has, the screen size should be almost 69 in (not 65 in). The 65 in OLED 3D focus distance appears to be similar to regular 65 in LED TV's minimum viewing distance.
For anyone considering migrating to great 4K interleaved 3D, it sounds like cheaper, smaller 55 in model may still be best option, unless group viewing is required...

Same issues here!
I have just bought OLED C6V and i wanted to try 3D vision games with EDID hack. thanks to SoundBlstr and his post ( https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/943900/3d-vision/search-information-about-edid-for-3dvision-on-lg-oled-4k-55ef950v-55ef9500-/6/?offset=88#5069058 ) i thouhg it would work.
But IMPOSSIBLE to works 4:4:4 (= YCbCr444)
Always black screen when i choose that in Pannel nvidia! Only YCbCr420 works...
Any tips ?

I initially also got a cable from Amazon.de that didn't work.
I ended up testing all the cables available at my local retailer and returning them.
I am using a 3m cable+ 2,5m cable that came with the TV with a repeater.
It is not dependent of model I had 2, exactly the same, 3 m cable, only one of them worked. Tested 3 repeaters, and only one of them worked. It's luck.

So while I definitely wouldn't say that the new 2016-models are not compatible with 3D Vision using the EDID override caution is definitely advised! [/quote]
Wow I'm glad my LGOLED55E6V works, I guess I took a big risk. It's so pretty though, I think it's the most beautiful gaming display I have ever seen. I do miss my interlaced 3D option I had in my 3D options though. My old LG TV had that.

Yeah ! After changing my HDMI cable (CSI 5m to HDMI basics 3m) it works great 4K @60hz @4:4:4 !
So don't buy a too expansive cable... Just amazon basics works great !
Now i need to try full setup with EDID ! :D
