[quote name='ohgrant' date='Aug 13 2007, 02:50 PM']Great to hear there's a new 3D driver, hope this one turns out for people with 8800's and Vista.
P.S: Am I the only one who suspects, Driver, Kapi, and Kaspirij are all the same person.

Sorry fellas... not had much time recently to post but I do traverse mtbs and nv stereo forums daily.
Test results with 8800: Still the same thing although when enabling 4x4 antiliasing mode with nHancer (an unsupported nvidia mode) almost all stereo artifacts dissapear.
4x4 is the best FSAA mode and the worst performance hit. It would be pretty impossible to play a modern game with this setting unless you involve some liquid nitrogen encased in unobtainium.
Still the abysmal game compatibility though. It seems to me that this tearing issue with the 8800 seems to be a very easy fix if someone at nvidia were to take a look at it... maybe my post at mtbs a while back sent them into a huff ^_^
I haven't gamed in stereo for half a year now and I am feeling the pain. I'd be happy if they mnaged to cripple a 8800 into another family of cards in stereo mode.
Speaking of which... I know its not a good solution but wasn't there a way to make a card emulate another card through obscure software? I remember of something like this... might even have been rivatuner. I wonder if that wuld work.
If someone can tell me what the program was, i'll give it a try and post findings.
Well, back to work /fear.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':fear:' />

Did you notice dual core on sometimes games work ? even nvtest.exe too, but if you try ctrl+T for reactivate or deactivate stereo sometimes it crash with freezing computer 20 seconds and after you've got the hand again, but sometimes total freezing depending games i suspect directx problem cause in quake series and il2 opengl you can have the hand again after 20/30 seconds and freeze totaly with dx games.

P.S. Where's RageDemon? He disappeared off the face of the earth. Did his ultimate stereo setup create a vortex and suck him away?!?
