Acer H5360 not starting ?! Can someone help?
Hi, I just bought the h5360 and I opened it for the first time which was ok but then I shut it down and remove the cable for power then plug it again but it won't start it just show a blue button open but not starting ,,, what is the problem ???

Could be dodgy thermostat in the projector, I have seen this before on a projector.
Unplugged and moved and then would turn on but then switch off, it eventually came good after a few unplugs of the power and switching on and was fine for evermore.

I could be clutching at straws but it might be something like that.

Did you let it cool itself down etc before unplugging the power?

My Sharp XR-10X once had a problem where it got too hot and then didn't want to turn on. I googled the problem and found out I had to open it and press a button or something, which I did and then it worked fine again. Some kind of overheat protection supposedly designed to prevent the bulb from shattering, but it seems to me more like a way to make money with servicing, or even getting people to buy a new pj ;)

thanks guys it works fine now...but why with my room very dark , when i open the projector the reflection is very high , it like there is a sun in my room ??!!
