Very bad FPS when my laptop is unplugged.
Hello there! I have a Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop. I use your GTX 1060, using the Nvidia Control Panel, I got Minecraft to use the GTX 1060. My FPS is at 500+ When plugged in! But when not plugged in, I get 15-20. Do you know why? Any help would be great! ~Varcx

goto/ Start/ Control Panel then open Power Options..Select High Perfomance then goto Change Plan settings. in there click Change advanced power settings then a new window should open goto Processor Power managment go into minimum Processor state it might be on 5% change it too 100%.. or less it will wear out the battery faster the higher the setting. but the lower that setting the slower the laptop will be..

It was on 0... But when the game is windowed I get 144 FPS! But when it's full screen still 15-20! So the problem is kinda solved. But when is there a way to fix it when it's full screen?

WEll make sure in the nvidia control panel you have under 3D Settings/Power Managment mode "Prefer maximum performance." Usually being in full screen you should get better FPS but sometimes running window mode is sometimes better.. I am not sure what is going on with minecraft??

That doesn't matter. Minecraft is the only game that has the problem with 20 FPS on full screen! I tried other games on full screen with very high settings and I got 60 FPS or higher! So thanks! You are legendary! I hope you have a amazing day!
