3D Test works, 3D Video Player Works, 3D Games NOT working ... but used to 3D Games stopped working
System: MacBookPro Core i7
OS: Windows 7 (64bit)
Card: GeForce 330M
Display: Acer H5360 Projector
Resolution: 1280x720 (32bit) @ 120Hz
Display Driver: CD v1.33 (GeForce GPU driver v258.96, NVIDIA 3D Vision driver v258.96) WHQL
3D Vision Driver: Same as display driver
Current Symptoms:
H5360 + Shutter Glasses | MacBook Display + Anaglyph | Samsung F2380 LCD Display + Anaglyph
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3D Vision Test Works | says its incompatible??? | Works
3D Video Player Works | "Could not create DirectX 9 device" | Works
Flight Sim 9 IR Pyramid won't activate* | Game works - no Anaglyph | Works
Richard Burns Rally IR Pyramid won't activate* | Game works - no Anaglyph | Works
* Although the IR Pyramid won't activate (Green light doesn't glow more brightly and stereo images not displayed), the depth meter does display
and a warning message about game compatibility does display when pyramid button is pressed.

Other comments:
I'm confident the resolution is 1280x720@120Hz (the projector displays resolution and refresh when any change occurs)

Possible cause #1:
It almost seems like there might be some EDID caching/wierdness wrt the projector. In the NVidia control panel (for a short time),
the projector was only showing 50Hz in the dropdown for the 1280x720 resolution. It has since corrected itself but maybe there is some
issue here but I have no idea how to diagnose it further or fix it.

Possible cause #2:
Its possible the new drivers have removed support for these games from the game profiles and have "locked down" the 3D vision so that unsupported
games/apps won't work in 3D. Its curious that while Flight Sim 9 is running the green Nvidia message says game support is "good". I've come across
posts on the Internet related to 3D vision working only for supported game profiles but I'm not sure if this true. FS2004 and Richard Burns Rally
are listed on the Nvidia site as supported but do not appear in the Nvidia panel list of compatible games. There's also mention in the docs of
pressing Ctr+Alt+Ins to add a game profile. This seems to do nothing when I try it in these games. Can profiles be added? Are profiles even needed?
Should 3D Vision work for any DirectX games in fullscreen at 1280x720@120Hz? I think so but I'm confused ????

Possible cause #3:
Hopefully someone can suggest it :)

Before Driver Update Symptoms:
(Unfortunately I'm not sure the exact driver version I had installed for 3D vision)
(Display drivers were "special" Apple Bootcamp v197 drivers ... the ones from Nvidia website would not install ... but thats another story)

**************
For 2 glorious weeks everything worked (almost) perfectly!!!!
Occasionally a red Nvida warning message would appear during gameplay and would need to reboot
**************

Background:
To troubleshoot this problem and get 3D vision working again I've wiped and reinstalled everything NVidia related from my computer several times.
I've rebooted between each step.
I've gone back to the BootCamp drivers and have attempted to install several versions of the 3d Vision drivers.
Nothing I've done has re-enabled Stereo 3D in any of the games.

Side note:
I updated my drivers because with the Bootcamp Nvidia drivers, I couldn't do CUDA development ... now CUDA works but 3D Vision is screwed.
