Hi there I am hoping for some advice, I have looked at many many issues similar and not found an answer yet.
I am trying to use an Nvidia 3dVision 2 kit with my BenQ XL2411T monitor (3d vision ready) and a GTX 780 sc gfx card.
I have un-plugged all other monitors, and my drivers are up to date with the 332.21 from nvidia stie.
The monitor is connected dvi-d, the Ir transmitter is connected to the USB, the glasses are charged, monitor is in 1920x1080 @ 120hz (both nvidia control panel and windows display settings).
When I run the 3d stereoscopic set up wizard, I get the error - "Warning: attempt to run Stereoscopic in non-stereo display mode, please change to a acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes"
I have tried ignoring this and proceeding but I then fail the hardware test.
Has anyone any idea what mode I should be in and how I change this? (is it monitor related?)
Many Thanks.
(on a side note, I am planning on using it pretty much just for 3D Blu-ray playback, not for gaming, if that has any relevance)

1920x1080/120hz would be the recommended resolution, make sure you're using the DVI cable that came with your monitor.
I've heard people have fixed similar issues by unplugging the monitor completely for a few minutes.
Hi thanks for your reply. I have already tried unplugging the monitor, and fully resetting all it's settings. I am definitely using the DVI Dual link cable that came with the monitor.

Also, I'm pretty sure I saw someone else around here just a few days ago with a similar problem, and I believe they worked out a fix. Have a browse through recent posts in here to see if you can dig it up. Might have been with a different monitor, but I'm pretty sure it was the same issue.

Thanks for your help. I re-installed the drivers and re-booted, I disconnected and reset the monitor and it all just started working. Not sure what actually fixed it in the end but no problems now.

Hey!
I've got the exact same monitor and got my 3D vision kit delivered yesterday and experienced the exact same problem, even though I only use one monitor. I hade to re-install drivers aswell, even though they were up to date. Got it working after some hassle, but after that.. my jaw dropped! 3D is so cool! :-)

turns out having a 60hz monitor connected aswell has been no issue at all for me. I can play stuff on that without any problems at the same time, but I have seen many people have problems.
