I've run the automatic test on the Nvidia site to make sure my hardware is compatible and everything checked out. I downloaded the software for 3D Vision Discover and it all installed just fine.
However, when I try to check the box to turn on 3d stereoscopic from within the Nvidia control panel or from the start menu, all i get is an error message saying "this laptop's panel is not qualified for 3d vision".
Nothing i try to do, including downloading and installing older versions of the drivers, seems to work.
I've done some searching on the net and found many people are complaining of the same issue, even though their graphics and the rest of their system IS supposedly compatible with this software.
Has anyone found a workaround to this? I'd very much like to see what some of my games look like in 3d and if this software wasnt compatible with my system, i'm sure i'd have gotten a warning of some sort when i tried to install it.
