Nivida 3DTV play software?

Guys, on every 3dTVPlay setup I have done I have used DVI from the GPU to HDMI on the TV. Not sure the driver status but I am pinging now to try to get an update (I am not an nVidia employee but just work with them here and there (events). I will try to be more active here.

Are you sure??? I never read any post about this and I've been here almost every day for the last 2 weeks. It doesn't make sense using 3D Vision glasses with the TV, since you're not using the 3D Vision emitter, and you're using the TVs built in emitter, so you must use the TV's glasses.
You can't even change depth using the emitter scroll, you must use the keyboard hotckeys. I think you got this wrong budy....

Anyway, I will now try using the DVI input instead of the mini HDMI on my GTX 480. Maybe I can 3DTV Play to work this time.
I'm just not sure about if the sound will pass through since the GTX 480 don't have SPDIF cable connected to the mobo. I think only the mini HDMI can deliver sound connected to the TV's HDMI input. I may be wrong...

I got some 3d clips to work with the latest drivers (260.63) on my gtx460 sli and the Panasonic vt 20 using Powerdvd 10 with the latest patch but blu ray 3d films won't work unless I change the res in the nvidia control panel to one of the 2 3d resolutions. The problem I now have is that the tv seems to zoom in and the outside edges of any 3d content is cropped at 720p and 1080p. Any ideas for a fix for the cropping or blu ray 3d films not triggering the tv into 3d automatically?
Ps, 3dtv play not working for me as well

Just use another method for that. Use a mini HDMI - HDMI cable to connect the TV to the PC, set Power DVD 10 Mark II for HDTV instead of LCD 120hz display.
Choose the interlaced 3D layout on your TV, on the Samsung 3D Plasma, it's the 6th option, the one with the litte guy with tiny squares behind him, I don't know if the Panasonic TV has this layout option. Anyway in the Samsung, you must use HDMI/DVI 1 input in order to have 7 3D layouts, otherwise there will be only 3 layouts.
If you have the interlaced layout, you'll see the 3D effect, but something will not be right still, just swap left to right, and now it's perfect.
This is how I do on my PN63C8000.
Using Total Media 3 is the same thing, but you don't have to swap left to right, it's even easier.

BTW, Bluray 3D should be played in 1080p, so why do you need other resolutions??? Just play it at 1080p 24hz.

You don't think so, or are you sure? If it's really what I was afraid, I guess when 3DTV Play is oficially released, it should be enabled using the HDMI 1.4 input, not just DVI. It's just silly not being able to pass sound through...
not a problem for the 200 series, but it is for the 400. You buy a new card and 3DTV play works better with older cards. I hope this is just a matter of beta drivers, I've always thought that we could use the mini HDMI input to play 3D games in the TV as it's a HDMI 1.4 version. It's even easier than using an adaptor for that matter.

There are currently 2 resolutions in the 3DTV spec, 1080p 24 hz (for films) and the other is 720p 50/60 hz (Designed for games but can still be used for films). Those are the 2 options for the resolutions in the Nvidia control panel. The Panasonic doesn't support interlace mode. I wouldn't use interlaced as it is only half the resolution per eye.

My (Gainward) cards for some reason have the full HDMI connection instead of the mini ones. I have tried both DVI and HDMI to get it to work.
