So I just need this and any Bluray drive?
That's the theory, although personally I'm not putting a blu-ray drive in my computer until I see some official confirmation that it won't require different/additional hardware than a regular blu-ray drive. But the theory is that it will only take a firmware update to any standard blu-ray drive.
And actually, all you need is a DVD drive and PDVD10 3D, and you can apparently up-convert 2d DVDs to 3d. :D IMO, that's the really big news here. I'll be looking forward to seeing how well this functionality actually works.

Saw this thread and went over to Cyberlink to buy PowerDVD 10 Ultra 3D /smile2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':))' />
Unfortunately the software is not working correctly, as the left eye is near black, only the right eye displays a picture. Sometimes I get bad flickering and sometimes no picture at all.
Tried with the newest drivers 1.23 under Win 7 64bit.

Look at the supported hardware ( http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdvd...port_en_US.html ):

Notice there are no 3D projectors listed. What gives? I really want to get either the Acer H5360 or the Viewsonic PJD6531w but I also want to watch 3D BluRay. Whats the deal with that?

What about the Alienware monitor? Why would it not be supported? Do they just not want to acknowledge that it exists? lol.

I downloaded the trial version of the PowerDVD10 Ultra 3D and it was awesome 3d conversion for the DVD. It worked fine for me with driver CD v1.23 under windows 7 (64 bit) and GTX 260. I did not notice any ghosting in 3D converted movies but did not notice very good pop out effect either. Well it was good quality for real time 2D to 3D conversion. This is the first software I have seen which does good quality 2D to 3D auto conversion in real time. Its a good start for cyberlink and hope that this software will become much better with time.

Actually, chizow on the EVGA forums did some testing and relayed the following:

You can use 196.34 GPU driver + 196.21 stereo driver OR 197.13 GPU + 197.13 Stereo driver. Either works, already tried after identifying the problem.

PowerDVD 3D DOES NOT work with SLI enabled. You have to disable SLI or you get one eye always shuttered black and the other open, but also you don't get any of the offsetting images on the screen. More observations on this bug below.

You can't set the depth once the movie started. Easiest way to enable 3D that I found is to do the following BEFORE you start playing the movie. Click the 3D Button at the bottom menu bar, click the button to enable 3D, then choose "120Hz Time Sequential LCD (3D Vision)" from the drop down list.
As a result of the SLI bug I noticed a possible explanation as for why we see ghosting on the periphery of our vision, its because the shutters in the glasses are more transparent on the edges. I think eventually as the glasses improve in technology and are more uniformly shuttered and capable of blocking light, we'll get a better 3D experience as a result.

How is it possible to "move" the video (or move the angle of the camera) in order to simulate a 2nd camera ? If someone could explain me this... :P

Anyone experienced this error and got a solution?
