That's always worked for me.

Anyway 1.11 are running fine for me with Win7 RC 7100. Granted though these where installed on a fresh install of the OS.

1.11 installed smoothly and fixed a resolution change bug for me. The only problem I have noticed so far is ambient occlusion breaks 3D TF2. All I get is a white screen. Have not tried any other games yet.

Getting the same in Win7 RC, fresh install of the OS too and these where the first drivers installed so it's not a previous driver thing.

What you guys mean by desactivate the 3D Vision in game??
When I want to desactivate 3D stereoscopic mode I just go to control panel and do that, I’ve never done it while gaming and I see no reason for that. You mean that the BSOD only happens if you do that during gaming?? I’ve never tried that.
Actually I am a new 3D vision user, just got my kit one week ago.
I am also having a few issues with this new 1.11 drivers and I did not experience any issues with former 1.10 drivers, so I would like to share with you the issues I’m having and see if any of you have gone through that.

For some crazy reason, when I have 3D stereoscopic 3D mode enabled sometimes when running a game, right at the start of it, I get this annoying message: Warning: Attempt to run stereoscopic 3D in non-stereo display mode, please change to a acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes. That doesn’t make much sense cause my monitor is 120hz and all the game options are according to 3D mode, there’s nothing I can change that will make this go away. This happens a lot often with Left For Dead, Street Fighter IV, Grid and COD5. For another weird reason it never happened to Dead Space. Usually when this message pops up in my screen all games I try to run will show this message but Dead Space.

I’m pretty sure this is a driver issue cause I’ve never experience anything like this before while using 1.10 drivers. If this message appears the game will run at 3D mode, but the 3D glasses won’t sync (work) with it, anyway the message doesn’t go away.

Hopefully I figured out a way of getting rid of this annoying bug. I usually have SLI enabled and if this message appears during an attempt to run a game I just disable and then enable SLI and the error will go away and I can play the game in 3D mode flawlessy.

Have any of you experienced this kind of driver issue?? For some weird reason the driver doesn’t understand that my system, monitor are 3D vision ready or something like that, cause if it this message was something related to game options it wouldn’t just disappear if I just enabled or disabled SLI. So far this is the only solution I manage to get rid of this annoying red message that prevents me from playing in 3D mode.

A interesting thing that happened today was that I ran Left for Dead in 3d mode and the message did not show up hopefully but then I forgot to set my VGA’s fans to 100% using EVGA Precision 1.8, that’s the tool I use to control my VGA’s and I really don’t trust Auto fan while gaming. After I did that and went back to the game the annoying red message was there and besides I closed the EVGA application it would not go away. Once again I had to disable and enable SLI in Nvidia control panel and the message went away.
I must run a few more test, I’m not sure there’s a problem between EVGA Precision and these 3d drivers or if it’s something related to SLI, that I doubted cause SLI is 100% compatible with 3D Vision and both are technologies from the same company.

While using driver 1.10 I’ve never experience any problems like this, so maybe there’s a problem between EVGA Precision and these new 1.11 drivers. I will run a few more tests and figure out why this message keeps showing up and freaking my day. I don’t understand why same games like Dead Space are not affected by this issue.
Btw, This also happened once when I had SLI disabled so I don’t think it has something to do with SLI, maybe EVGA Precision, but I need this software, can’t trust auto fan for my VGA’s during gaming.
My PC has been very stable for the last 6 months, no hard locks and no BSOD’s, but for some reason yesterday while I was watching TV and the PC was doing nothing just showing the desktop it BSOD without no reason. After reading your posts I’m start to suspect it has something to do with these 1.11 drivers.

What he said. I have no problem turning 3D on and off in game with Ctrl T.

However, ambient occlusion + 3D + 1.11 = white screen for me. This happens both with TF2 (source engine), and Fallout3. It did not happen with the 1.09 driver set. As far as bugs go, it could be a lot worse. Otherwise I like the drivers and have had no other problems. All previous bugs fixed for me.

Ok, thanks for the info. I've already activated the advanced keys and I always enhance the convergance, it's the coolest effect in 3D Vision, but not all games have this option. I mean Dead Space, COD5 and Left for Dead have great convergance if you increase it. But games like GTA IV and Batman (demo) don't have this option, you can only increase depth unfortunately. I kind understand GTA IV not having that but Batman is a sad thing not been able to increase convergance, anyway I only tried the demo version, maybe the original will have this option. Street Fighter IV becomes awesome if you increase convergance, the fighters get out of your screen literally!!!
I can't find a way to make FarCry 2 work in 3D, even If I have 3d mode enabled the game always runs in 2D mode, I don't know why??? All other games run in 3D when the mode is enabled.

Can someone please help me on this issue, I can't get rid of that red annoying message: Warning: Attempt to run stereoscopic 3D in non-stereo display mode, please change to a acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes
Everytime I restart my PC this message will appear when running a game, not all games, but most of the games I have and the only way I can make the message go away is disabling and enabling SLI again. For some reason this action makes the crazy driver realize that my monitor is running at 120hz in a stereo mode. I've tried all kinds of changes in game options and the message woudn't go away so I figured it out that disabling or enabling SLI eliminates the issue. But it really sucks that everytime I turn my PC on I have to go through this procedure in order to play the game in 3D mode. I know it's a driver issue cause I've never seen this message when using 1.10 drivers. The only thing 1.11 drivers are better than 1.10 is that white flashes is not much of an issue anymore but these new drivers are way more unstable. If someone found a easier way to deal with that red message please let know. I'm not sure if I'm the only one getting this bug. I've already tried reinstalling the drivers again using driver sweeper but it did not work. It doesn't have anything to do with EVGA Precision I think cause it happens even if I don't run this application.

That's odd, I can't tell any difference by increasing or decreasing convergance in Batman demo. Therefore If I increase or decrease depth it's very noticable the difference.

Hey any of you are having this issue or know how to eliminate the annoying red message: Warning: Attempt to run stereoscopic 3D in non-stereo display mode, please change to a acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes???? It must be something related to these drivers 1.11 and SLI , something like that. 1.10 never showed this crazy message.

Have the 1.12 3D Vision drivers been released already???

See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes???? It must be something related to these drivers 1.11 and SLI , something like that. 1.10 never showed this crazy message.

Have the 1.12 3D Vision drivers been released already???

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 RTM and it also freezes up on me if I hit ctrl-t to deactivate 3D mode.

I spoke too soon. 1.11 causes stuttering in Fallout 3 (.5 second pauses every few seconds, depending on the area). Otherwise it looks so damn good, I just deal with it until they fix it. Rolling back to 18x.xx drivers fixes the stuttering, but introduces other problems.

Hi,

After a complete fresh insall (OS included) the 1.11 set gives a wonderful BSOD when desactivating it (Ctrl+T or emitter way). Going back to the beta, although stable, 1.10 version.

Cheers

PS. When are they going to release the 1.12 version to fix the bugs of the bug-fixing 1.11 version? /whistling.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistling:' />
