Dying Light

Man, you were told already about that on BFH thread. Stop the spam, please! You need to find the gun/hands shaders and then to apply a fix to them. This parameter won't affect anything unless you "tell" the wrapper which shaders to correct. Why don't you start new thread or post question in 3Dmigoto's one! Btw Helifax did the adjustments for guns in "Dying Light", if you are nice to him, he might as well point you in the right direction.

those are different things in different games! Helifax told me if i have question for a game,i should post in specific game thread! i dont' know Helifax did adjustments for guns in this dying light fix before you told me. i thought it is did by DHR. why do you think i am not nice to Helifax? i did apologize to him. i thought this convergence tweak technology is better than gun/hands shaders fix,i found in the Hands and Weapons Convergence Adjust constant in Dying Light fix------ d3d9.ini.so why i can't post in this thread? the BFH question is end, i ask different fix with different question ,and you sad that is spam?think about you behavior!

Techland announced Enhanced Edition of this game and that "The Following" expansion will be released in February 2. This makes me wonder if there is any chance to make some improvement to shadows (when running) - since there was so many updates made to 3Dmigoto. I bet a lot of people will go back to this game since this expansion will change so many things (refresh it all).

Increasing the FOV is the best way to handle this, as it moves your hands further away and makes it more natural. This direct shader approach was created by DHR, Helifax helped out by finding a LOT of extra weapons shaders to fix. DHR is moving the hands part independently of the screen, using a different depth essentially. This doesn't scale to all games, because shaders get reused all over the place. So in Fallout4 for example, the HUD is used on objects in the game itself, and so if you move them, things break in-game. Same for the hands, so it's going to be game specific whether it works or not. The only good way to handle this in a more general way is to increase the FOV if you can.

@bo3b i am grateful for you reply and help, now i know this related to game specific,in many fps game, increase the FOV doesn't change gun Size and Position. still learning in you 3Dmigoto now open-source thread with Translation tools, page by page.

Basically you can apply a different STEREO formula to make the HANDS/GUN appear closer to screen (lesser convergence). To do this: - you must find the VERTEX shader that controls the HANDS + GUN - Apply you custom stereo formula in these shaders. BUT: - You need to be very very careful that these shaders Are NOT used anywhere else!!!! If you find the shaders for the hands/gun that you want to stereorize (have less convergence) paste it here (or in the correct thread for the game you are looking at) and I will show you how you can do it;) I have used this technique in quite a couple of games (Amnesia 1&2) and others;) but it will not always generate the best results;))

Hi Helifax thanks for a replay. Can you please explain to me how to disable that 3d vision compability mode.If i disable it does that mean i cant play that game in 3d vision anymore?Main reason why i bought it was cause of playing it with 3d vision.

You toggle compatibility mode with ctrl+alt+F11 - advanced settings must be enabled in the stereoscopic control panel.

Right click on desktop and there you find Nvidia Control Panel. In Stereoscopic 3D go to "Set up stereoscopi 3D" and then on the right side go into "set Keyboard Shortcut". Click on "Show Advanced In-game settings" and there mark "Enable advance in-game settings:". After that you`ll be able to toggle between CM and Real 3D by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F11. Also you`ll be able to control Convergence (Ctrl+F5 and Ctrl+F6)
