PS3 3D = HDMI1.4(a), which none of the current 3D Projectors support. So go waste your money on a cable and report back

Again, there is no way to do this right now. I have 3D Vision & glasses, and I also have DLP-Link compatible specs. While yes, it "would" work, if you somehow got the PS3 to display 3D in frame-sequential, via converter, but said converter does not yet exist. If Optoma, or anyone else, does this then it would work. Until then, no PJs are going to display PS3 in 3D. I would love to be corrected...

PS3 hdmi outputs in 1.3, and the 3d works apparenttly with the first samsung 3d tvs which were 1.3 also, so I don't think ps3 requires hdmi 1.4 for 3d

If you did some proper research you will know that the only difference between HDMI 1.4 and HDMI 1.3 are:
1) Ethernet channel
2) Audio return channel
3) and 4K resolution

You DO NOT need HDMI 1.4 for 3D content. Besides, the PHYSICAL HDMI port on the PS3 is 1.3 and a firmware upgrade cannot add the above features and change it to v1.4 (UNLESS newer PS3s are released with the 1.4 port as standard). Even with HDMI 1.4 you WILL STILL NEED a high speed cable for 3D content.

Conan: As for "regular" 3D content, i meant that the H5360 is plugged in to my PC using Nvidia 3D vision. I will get a high speed cable and report back if i have had any luck. I am not saying that it is going to work but it's worth a shot.

Steve: Apparently Optoma IS working on such a converter

My bad then, I assumed PS3's native S3D support required HDMI1.4 because I've read the following and many other posts saying stuff like this.
3D DLP HDTVs in order for them to be able to take HDMI 1.4(a) stereoscopic 3D input from devices like Sony’s PlayStation 3 console, 3D set-top boxes, Blu-ray 3D video players and others.
and
DirecTV uses HDMI 1.4 to check if they hardware is 3D capable
And further searching revealed that 3D over HDMI 1.3 is interleaved.

Can anyone confirm that its interleaved? I'd buy the PS3 if this can be made to work.
