3D Vision - Samsung 2233RZ Goes Blank! When I try to use it in 120Hz it says check the cable and
Ok Well at this point I am frustrated. I have spent several hours trying to find an answer and none has surfaced. Below are my specs and my situation.

I have installed and uninstalled every driver known to man and have crawled all over the web and have found a few others with the same problem as me, but yet no resolution.
When I attempt to run the test to setup 3D Vision or switch manually to 120Hz My screen goes Black and I get a message telling me to check the cables. I was forced to use the Dual Link DVI cable that came with the monitor since the only one in the NVidia box was for DLP TVs (ie HDMI to DVI) I am hoping one of you out there know how to fix this because this sucks lol I want my 3D!!!

hmm maybe you got a bum cable. Not unheard of to have a short in a cable. You could try aquiring another dual link cable, and if the problem persists, it's most likely a faulty monitor. I use the 2233rz as well. If nothing works, take the dam thing back and get something different. ;)

I know this is obvious but it happened to me once; Check that you have not accidentally mixed the cable up with another type. Only a particular type of cable works.

i had the same problem because i used the DVI cable of my old screen.
You *must* use the cable provided with the screen, if you take a look at them you'll notice that a "normal" cable (good old dvi) don't have all pins while the cable provided with the screen have more pins cabled (dual-dvi).
Simply said :
- normal cable : 60Hz max
- dual-dvi cable : 120Hz :)
