Penumbra (Series): 3D Vision Support Thread
  2 / 2
Well, finally have tried Penumbra: Necrologue with Amnesia TDD fix. No luck. I even could not run Amnesia итселф with 3D Vision enabled... :| When SLI is enabled, I'm getting left eye black. But when SLI is disabled, I'm getting side-by-side image... (358.50, Windows 7 64-bit) Any suggestions, Helifax? Thanks.

Both issues should be resolved;)

To get the original series (Steam) to work for me, I had to perform the following: [olist][.]I replaced the fix's DLL with the latest OpenGL wrapper files to trigger Nvidia 3D Vision rather than side-by-side views. This allowed for hotkey-based changes to separation and convergence. I also disabled Reshade depth mode in the ini and set LegacyMode to true[/.] [.]In addition to disabling LimitFPS in settings.cfg, I disabled vsync in the advanced graphics menu to fix choppy fps[/.] [.]Unrelated, but I set the audio mode to software to get better surround sound than the game's recommended hardware mode, which had sub-par surround (e.g. sounds seemed half as far away in hw mode)[/.][/olist]     Settings.cfg appears after exiting the main menu upon changing gfx settings (no need to start a new game). I've played through a few areas so far and the game seems to work great with this setup. I see the issues mentioned in the fix's PDF, but nothing game-breaking.     Thanks Helifax for making this fix! Happy New Year!

Worth noting that these games are on sale on GoG for $1.85. Not currently on HelixModBlog, so reviving this for anyone who might be interested. https://www.gog.com/game/the_penumbra_collection

There are also 2 mods that wrap up the series unanswered questions. These use the HPL Engine 2 and thus require that you own Amnesia Dark Descent. The first being Penumbra: Necrologue, which can be found on Steam. https://store.steampowered.com/app/346290/Penumbra_Necrologue/ or moddb https://www.moddb.com/mods/penumbra-necrologue/downloads/necrologue-12-eng The second is Penumbra: Twilight of the Archai https://www.moddb.com/mods/penumbra-twilight-of-the-archaic/ Refer to the posts above to play these in 3D
