Trust my opinion on this...played fallout 3 in 3d for quite some time. This game is running, for me, exactly as well as f3. I'm pretty happy w it!! Just wish the pip boy wasnt so jacked up when i increase convergence super high. with high converg the game world is AWESOME but the pip is so close to your face you have to lessen it. Any one ever fix this is f3 or know of a way to?

so far it looks good, my only problem is with the pip boy...it doesn't display properly in 3D, i have to take glasses off to read it....had same issue in Fallout3
there also seems to be a problem with the quick save feature and steam cloud (if you got it on steam) only do hard saves (hit esc and then save) or you could lose hours of game play

WOW, where to start..........amazing, just like fallout 3. Bleak, barron and death everywhere.....love it.
3d vision works well enough to keep it on but really does a number on the fps. I went from ultra down to high then disabled some other features to keep it above 30 fps in 3d. No bloom or HDR, no aa or the other one..... still get some dips in the teens at times, im sure a patch or driver update can fix that.
Looks like a great timewaster, lose lots of hours to this game

K does any one see any issues yet with the scaling of SLI or the game not using more then two threads of Core i7's? I had those same optimization problems with Fallout 3 and I heard this game uses the exact same engine  . I run two GTS 250's in sli with i7 920 at 3.7ghz and 3GB DDR3

Everything works great for me, FPS are silky smooth, the PipBoy is rendered correctly in 3d. The only problem I've noticed so far is some ghosting or something with the sky in certain areas, but it looks like someone has a fix for that already. I don't see why this isn't rated as Excellent instead of Good.
For those with FPS, have you tried disabling the Nvidia crosshair?

I realize this is a very old thread, but figured it wasn't worth making a new one to post this issue.
I'm currently playing Fallout New Vegas through, and noticed the 3d Vision sky fix doesn't apply to the sky meshes in the DLCs. I've only played Lonesome Road and Old World Blues so far, but both have had issue. Old World Blues, the night sky is at zero depth, and Lonesome Road, the night sky in the first zone, again is at zero depth. The daytime skies seem ok.
I know it's a lot to ask for someone to fix these, but hey, if you don't ask..... and I fancy people will still be playing New Vegas in 10 years time, so it would be worth fixing if someone has the time, owns all the DLCs, and knows how to edit sky meshes. I'm pretty sure I'll be playing Vegas again in a few years since it's a cracking game IMO.
So if anyone does take up the challenge of fixing the skies in the DLC - thanks in advance.

thought I would drag up an old New Vegas thread rather than making a new one.
Giving this a go in 3D and with the fix it is looking great. my only problem is that the fix doesn't seem to be setting the pip boy to the correct depth, so with high convergence its pretty much a mess. the hud and vats seem fine, its just the pip boy. I was wondering if there might be a simple work around for this? in general the fix is working flawless with driver 344.75, its just the pip boy issue.

Any one ever fix this is f3 or know of a way to?

there also seems to be a problem with the quick save feature and steam cloud (if you got it on steam) only do hard saves (hit esc and then save) or you could lose hours of game play
