Crysis 3 still fake 3D only?

While I'd never gotten around to try it was always assumed that the low performance impact of Crysis 3D on PC's was due to the fake "after effect" and that if configured properly to use stereo imaging it would actually create a proper Stereo image (and have the performance impact along with it). So even with the proper bits set in the configuration files Crysis is STILL fake 3D. Egads! (sigh) (I guess I'll go play "Lego Hobbit")
