Hello, Iv been trying to play FF14:ARR with 3D vision, 320.18 all the way to 326.80 and iv had problems with stereoscopic 3D each time. All versions prior to 326.80 have had Constant stretching with the graphics with 3d enabled, but with the latest beta i cant even use 3D at all. Lightboost is enabled on my monitor but it refuses to turn on Stereoscopic. i use to think it was game side the stretching but with the trialing of all the versions im pretty sure its drivers side. as with the 320.18 as i had standard 2D stretching with that driver.
Im using a 2GB GTX 770 MSI Gaming OC edition
Any1 have any idea of this? thanks in advance

How are you able to run this game with 3D Vision? I'm on the retail version and when I start the game, my setup and monitor don't recognize it as a 3D application. I've tried enabling 3D with the keyboard shortcut but it does not work. Is is possible that 3D Vision was enabled in the beta but they took it out in the release version?!?
Been trying to get this to work in 3D for days.

^^ is not an answer, the game is unplayable in 3d without a profile due to enviromental shadows. I played FFXIV at launch for a couple of weeks and it was better than WoW at the time 3d-wise, it was bloody perfect. Newest drivers made FFXIV RR not to respond to 3d at all even though the profile says "Good"

Though I doubt its profile related probably something from beta to release.
I dont care, the game is great as it is in 2d. I guess I'll wait for a workable profile from nvidia rather than asking for support here, its an MMORPG, so any injector is suspiciouos

To Enable 3d you have to use Nvidia Inspector.
Go to the Final Fantasy 14 A Realm Reborn Profile.
Under "Undefined" set the field:
0x00161903 from 0x00000001 to 0x00000000
After this you are able to enable 3d with COntrol+T

Helix 3d vision .dll works the same way so it's safe to assume it's not against the TOS, which I thought was refreshing for a MMO.
The main issues with the game is the skybox needs to be pushed out, shadows from fires (torches) are wrong. World shadows like trees are 2d as well as pc/npc shadows.
Nameplates are 2d as well from memory, I did all this several days ago so there's probably more.
Anyway, I've been playing around with getting 3d Vision working to a playable level and am as far as a list of offending shaders.
Using the debugger either a bad shader was 2d or only coming through one eye (probably the same thing.
I'll pop the ones I found here and hopefully someone can help out with them.
When I modify the shaders and use the non-debug .dll nothing happens, so I'm doing something wrong there.
Vertex Shaders
355 - character/target ground circle (this can be disabled in settings I believe)
353 - character/target ground circle arrow (same as 353 I think)
326 -
150 - tree shadows
420 - UI (chat text)
371-373 - UI text
342, 326 - world shadows
327 - world shadows (more distant)
424 - misc. debug aura glow, also ingame fire glow
Pixel Shaders - approx 3557 total
374 - World light (fixes torches)
391 - World (makes everything dark, not sure what this is)
3529 -
229 - 239 clouds
1087 - sky
1886 - font
Their all just from my notepad when I went through them the other day. Following helix's guide to remove 2d shaders I came up with a playable game using the following
ShaderOverride\pixelshaders
453AE693
8009D699
B7296397
ShaderOverride\vertexshaders
3018C8DB
3351C68B
5688D066
699F0853
DFC2A45E
E1FA99CD
I don't know what I'm doing wrong when I use the non-debug d3d9.dll because it's as if nothing's being done. But I can remove them with the debug. The Pixel shaders I renamed to ########.txt with
ps_3_0
and
vs_3_0
dd_position v0
dd_position o0
for the vertex shaders.
I just put this here as this is as far as I've got with using helixmod with FFXIV, I'll have another go when I get time but if anyone more knowledgeable about patching can help that'd be fantastic.
Cheers

If you do happen to have any luck, I'd be most grateful if you could share your results. I tried giving the debugger a crack for my very first time due to the issues you pointed out, but couldn't really make much progress on my own. I've admittedly been checking the Helix site on a regular basis in hopes a fix will suddenly appear up there one day but obviously to no avail, so it's good to see someone is at least giving it a go.

Thanks for the encouragement I'll keep you posted. I'll have another attempt when I return from overseas next weekend.
I too regularly check helix's blog but he's never really been into MMOs from what I've read. I've tweaked a few games but this is the first time I've done shaders from scratch. It's actually not difficult if you follow the guides. I'm keen to get ffxiv working, like I mentioned I can get playable 3dvision (surround too) with the debugger I just need to work out how to get it working with the proper dll. Also I need to push the skybox/clouds out.
I know how frustrating it is to not have a game in 3dvision and waiting for a fix, that's kinda how I got tweaking myself.
Unless anyone else has a breakthrough I'll hopefully have a patch soon but I have a bit more to learn

New drivers do squat, was hoping for the best. I went and began working with helix's .dll to remedy it but this will take a while, using the above listed to help as well. Wrong Skyboxes/shaders and chocobo mohawks still highly prevalent. It's sad, too. When you catch a glimpse of what it can be it looks frickin' fantastic. Just needs some tweaking.
