Has anyone been able to get Disney Infinity 3.o working in compatibility mode? I have tried w the Helix approach and profile swaps w no luck. It is dx11. The regular stereo works ok except for shadows being messed up. It is a fun Starwars game to play w the grand kids but it is even better in stereo. Until something better comes along this is my Starwars fix. Please report any success out there. Thanks

For those that don't know.
Disney Infinty 3.0 is available on Steam, the base package is free.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/361640/
It's also available from the Disney site.
https://infinity.disney.com/
Steam has
Disney Infinity 3.0 - Twilight of the Republic Starter Pack ($39.99)
Disney Infinity 3.0 - Inside Out Play Set ($19.99)
Disney Infinity 3.0 - Rise Against the Empire Play Set ($19.99)
Disney Infinity 3.0 - Twlight of the Repubilc Character Pack ($16.99)
Disney Infinity 3.0 - Rise Against the Empire Character Pack ($16.99)
Disney Infinity 3.0 - Inside Out Character Pack ($16.99)
When it first hit Steam, it had 3 pages of DLC, those have since been removed.
I've read that if you buy the DLC from the webstore it can be used on the Steam version also, whereas if you buy it from the Steam store, it can only be used with the Steam version

Toy Story 3 has perfect 3D, but you can not select 1920x1080. It also randomly fails to launch for a day or two, while at other times you can play it all week without any issue.
Disney Universe has perfect 3D as well, 1920x1080 is available.
These should be going back on sale before long and would be great games for the Grandkids, excluding the lack of light sabers. Buzz LightYear does have a laser though :P
As far as Disney Infinity 3.0, did you confirm that it was indeed using dx11 with MSI Afterburner?
If it's indeed dx11, you should be able to enable compatibility mode by adding the exe to the profile of one of the other games that Nvidia has made a compatibility profile for.
Did you try doing it the way that eqzitara did?

Well it says in the readme that it is dx11. I have not double checked.
And yes I have tried the eqzitara method. Just wont give any depth of separation even when I get the message that compatibility mode is on. Have tried all the usual profiles. It would be nice if you could just turn off the shadows and then it would be fine in real 3d.
As to steam vs other purchase optione, I actually bought the star wars playsets for my console xbox one where you get split screen coop however that gives you a code which activates the pc story game for free. Re Steam I like that bottom tab, I hope I don't accidentally add all dlc to cart for $1288.64. What a deal! I think ill stick with the basic modules thank you.. lol

Haha, better put Steam's parental control lock on your account, it will disable the ability of your grandchildren to go on a spending spree.
Yah, I just wanted to show everyone what they were buying into, if they were interested in this.
I was happy to see it appear on Steam initially, until I saw the 3 pages of DLC.
DreamWorks has a free MMO (not really free when you look into it) that looks like it would be great in 3D for kids. It's based on the How to Train Your Dragon movies. (I wish it was a single player game and not a MMO)
http://store.steampowered.com/app/332070/
It's also available from the Official website.
http://www.schoolofdragons.com/
Interesting thing is, it has a Unity Plug-in for 3D.

If you are not having any luck with helifax's method, you can look at eqzitara's thread. I posted all of the games that currently have a compatibility profile. While most will probably have somewhat identical profiles, maybe one of them will do the trick.

Just an FYI, Disney Infinity for the PC will no longer be receiving new content for the foreseeable future.

I hope their games still work because some of them are like GFWL and have to sync saves.
Also, they were in co-production with Square Enix for Kingdom Hearts III, not that it was going to be on PC but I still wanted to play it. Hopefully Square Enix is able to complete it.

edit Nov 15, 2016: Kingdom Hearts 3 has a product page listing on Amazon, showing an availability date of December 30, 2016. Too bad it's not coming to the PC :(

Hmmm, I'm not sure what this entails....but supposedly, if you bought any of the DLC, you'll get the Gold version for free?
The game and DLC are no longer for sale. Instead it says the following.

The gameplay isn't that bad from the little that I played of The Force Awakens. I had planned on buying more, but it looks like I might get it all for free now?
All of the DLC together is over $1000.00 as you can see in my above post.
No idea on how much the plan on selling this Gold Edition for, but it's a lot of content.
Here's gameplay footage from The Force Awakens

Tis a good time to grab this, if you are a Star Wars fan.
Since Disney closed all of their game production studios, you never know if they'll pull their games from distribution.
DHR recently fixed this :)
Currently, you can get 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0, cheaper than 3.0 by itself.
