Thanks for clearing that up bo3b. I'm gonna have to try disabling CM and raise the convergence while lowering depth and see how that looks in comparison.

Out the box it seems like its close... Like only the shadows and mild ghosting at night seem messed up. But I will admit most of the technicality behind 3d tends to go over my head, so im not sure the amount of work that goes in to making this look good.

Outside the prologue it appears much better. Played through Prologue in 2D. Major issue is the shadows as shown below: rename to jps I don't know how to approach solving the shadows. removed broken shadows to separate shadow shaders

I will only play it in real 3D, prefer to miss out otherwise, too many mindblowing games in 3D already So if you manage to do this, Flugan, it will be an incredible accomplishment. Apparently the game is good, so it will be worth it. Thanks in advance

This one in real 3D would be absolutely mind-blowing! Really funny to see how this game seems to have an "under the radar status" on PC while the series is one of the most hyped and cherished on consoles...since decades. Given how Phantom Pain has been praised by critics to an almost absurd extent ("Staring out over the ocean gives you a moment of solace from the horrible events that surround you on the battlefield, and you get a similar feeling when riding into battle, seated on the edge of a chopper. With the camera behind Big Boss, creating a strong silhouette against the outside world, you experience something you're rarely afforded in video games, self reflection" - Gamespot Review) I have to admit: YES, I WANT IT IN GLORIOUS 3D!

This is my #1 most wanted 3D game. I've played about 30% because I couldn't help myself but am now stalling in hopes of a fix. If disabling shadows works, that would even be enough for me :)
