Asus G73JW GTX 460M Vision 3D nearly every game is lagging
Hi Guys,

is just got my new
Asus G73Jw
12 GB Ram
120SSD
500Gb Hybrid
GTX 460M
3d Vision build in
Core i7 740QM

I can play every new game in full Hd resouluion and at maximum Details. But as is just turn on 3D is starts to lag. The Framerate gets so low that you think your playing in slowmo mode. So i just leveled the details low etc etc.

But it doesn´t matter. it still is so laggi.

Counter Strike Source works finde, but gta4 or bulletstorm is nearly unplayable.

as there are new drivers out now, i just installed them but nothing happend.

What can i do? i just whant to play gta4 in 3d. thats so awesome!!
I own gta4 via steam, so its on the newest ver. too.

Sry for my bad language^^

Regular desktop GTX460 can't play most games at 1080p on high settings in 3D, so the 460M is not going to do any better. Anything short of gtx580 can't play games like Metro 2033, Crysis, GTA4 on high settings in 3D.

3D is very demanding on the graphics card so you have to lower your resolution or game details to get 3D going on your laptop. If you did lower your details(disable AA as well), and its still not running properly, you may want to try reinstalling drivers.

Games should run fine on your laptop in 3d at medium/high details and 1366x768 res.

I'm not sure if you mobo supports it, but you can almost double your frame rate with another GTX460 in SLI. I'm running two GTX 460s and get good frame rates in 1920x1080. An they are fairly inexpensive now.
