Hello im just wondering are my 3d glasses performing correctly because it looks really good in the screen but nothing happens outside of the screen like around the edges. Im just wondering if im expecting to much or what.
Im using a 9800gtx+ if that helps. Also left 4 dead freezes because of my display driver turns off and on again or something how can i fix that?

99.9% of 3D Vision is "depth" in the screen, not things coming out of the screen.
Some rockets in UT2004 looked like they came out of the screen for me, I've read WoW has some out of screen things as well. It's mostly about making your monitor look like a window instead of a picture though- the out of screen effects you see at the movies aren't programmed into games. (yet)
As far as freezing goes, if you mean the game is stuttering, are you sure you're settings aren't too high for your graphics card? 3D Vision puts a ~40% hit on graphics performance, and the 9800GTX+ is a mid range card. I'd think it's more likely you're just getting slowdowns due to settings than the driver turning on and off.
I'd add a second 9800GTX+, or just sell yours for $100, add $55 to it, and grab this GTX260C216 if that's the case:

A single 9800GTX+ will likely chug some with AA on.

Ah ok thanks mate. but it still does look amazing in screen though definatly worth it. Would you say the 295gtx is worth it for the price or just spend a little less and get the 280gtx?

I'm in similar boat, thinking of upgrading my 8800GTS 640MB and have looked at various graphics card reviews and concluded that the GTX 275 would give the best bang for your buck. Now I just have to replace my PSU first to see whether my Dell is agreeable to that then the next step will be to acquire a GTX 275 being only a few frames behind the GTX 285 in most benchmarks.

You can adjust it so that more things pop out of the monitor glass.
Adjust "Separation" and "Convergence" to Your liking (You may have to see in the Nvidia driver control panel first for the hot-keys).
It can make a lot of difference. You can probably make everything pop out but that will look odd though. Depth is good also.

If you don't have an SLi motherboard, the GTX295 is definitely worth it because games will just keep getting more demanding and it will help greatly with using AA.
If you have a SLi motherboard, two GTX260C216s will offer close to the same performance for considerably less money. (and offer more performance than one GTX280 for around the same money)
The 260s-285s offer good performance now, but SLi will be a longer term solution IMO.

99.9%? I 100% disagree with that. I understand what you mean. I get tons of pop out effects, in almost every single game. So far the best I've seen for pop out effects is devil may cry 4. Game is so good in 3D. :magic:
