However, a bit unfair that my bulky, very 3D deep CRT just have a flat-ish 2D-image, while that 2D flat monitor has a deeper 3D :P
I haven't checked on 3D displays in a long while, but I would think that lenticular screens are better.

Does anyone know if the Zalman monitor will work in SLI? I know the iz3D can't because SLI disables the other ports. However the Zalman only uses one DVI port does this mean it can benefit from 2 cards in SLI?

It does and it doesn't.
When I met with NVIDIA, they told me SLI works. However, there was no measurable benefit because the interlaced monitor solutions are half resolution, so the performance benefit isn't there. It would be interesting to see how the numbers fall in practice, though.
