I actually sent a mail to Deep Silver asking if Metro 2033: Last Light will be as good in 3D vision as original. This is what they told me: "We think Metro: Last Light is gonna' be pretty sweet. Cheers!"

I preorded this as soon as I could. Partly on principle, as a thankyou to the developer for making Metro 2033, which was one of the best games I've ever played. The atmosphere and lighting was just incredible - and I only played in 2D. Can't wait for the sequel. Metro Last Light is one of the main reasons I decided to upgrade recently with 2xGTX Titans and a 3D monitor. Will the game be worth $3000? Lol.....we'll have to see...

Sheesh. I really hope for my sake that's an extreme amount of overkill right there ... I'm hoping to get by on a single 670. :D

If anyone wants this, I can personally vouch for these guys - they're totally legit, and one of the cheapest around. About $37 to preorder. Note that you will not get the steam preorder bonuses though (not that you should really care) http://www.cjs-cdkeys.com/products/Metro-Last-Light-Steam-CD-Key.html?setCurrencyId=4

BAM Pre-ordered! First game i've ever pre-ordered, and last, due to huge fluctuation in quality (three steps forward two steps back sort of thing), features i like and maturity/believability levels in general not keeping up with the average age of gamers (IMO). But i have a feeling that 4AGames with remain mostly true the first game in key areas. Can't wait to go tunnel exploring again.

Have there been any announcements of better lightboost monitors? I wouldn't wait if not. I'd try a Samsung checkerboard 3DTV if you haven't already, i think vertical field of view is a very under-rated component of gaming.

And I really hate slow/variable framerates. I don't imagine that 3D trimonitor users who only have one Titan are getting smooth framerates on Crysis 3, Tomb Raider.....or just about any game from next-gen in 6 months' time.
