3D Vision information
Afternoon everyone,

I'm looking to buy the 3D vision kit, new monitor etc. I was looking at Amazon.co.uk and there are two kits available:

NVIDIA Gef 3D Vision Glasses AVATAR Edit
NVIDIA Limited Edition Avatar GeForce 3D Vision Glasses

Now, "Gef" I'm assuming is GeForce, but can anyone tell me what the difference is between these two?

So far, the only thing I can see is that one appears to be simply glasses while the other's a pair of "sunglasses".

Thank you kindly.

Hardware they are the same. Avatar edition includes a copy of the game (actually a download code). Normal edition has no bundled game offers.

I assumed this too... but both have Avatar bundled and both are different pricing.

I had another look. One is a real Amazon listing (the cheaper one). The other is an Amazon marketplace seller(s), and not really Amazon.

That makes sense, and basically what Amazon themselves said. Thanks for the info.
My assumption was that there were two different versions as the glasses looked slightly different.

Thanks for the help though.

3D is great, but whatever you do, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT TO PLAY WOW! They rate it as "excellent" in the Nvidia website but it's more like "Poor/Unplayable" since last October and Nvidia has completely ignored us 3d Vision customers. Just a heads up. Otherwise, good luck, you will have fun! /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' />
