I have never had issues with 3D vision. Now, I uninstalled everything and installed this new version. First it never asks to reboot after the driver install. So, I do it manually. When it goes to set up 3D vision it gets to the part when it is ready to test the glasses and my screen shows a blue circle like it is thinking and the screen goes on and off black and circle until I hit task manager and then I can get it to come up. I get past this and when running test the green light flashes from off to on (bright). What in the %*&^&* is going on here? I am running Win 7 64 bit.

Thta's really odd, I really don't have a clue. I would reinstall those drivers using driver sweeper and do a clean install or maybe roll back to teh older drivers.

iam having troubles with this release too. my os is win7 32bit. i think its because of the os. after installing this iam having black borders in games that are not running native resolution even if the running resolution is 16:9. my card is 9800gtx. i keep halo for playing multiplayer and its max widescreen resolution is 1600*900. my screens native resolution is 1920*1080 and this driver puts black borders in all games for all resolutions except the native one if its available. do you know how to make them aware of this

Well I had to do a fresh install of Windows 7. It now comes up fine with the green light. But I required a new install for this crap???? I did not try driversweeper as I thought something more critical was wrong with the way it was acting. I also forgot to backup my COD MW2 game save!!! ARGH. Anyhow, even with a fresh install the drivers do NOT ask you to reboot after initially installing the video drivers. I am wondering if this is a Win 7 thing. BUT, I do think I remember with the older drivers though that it did ask for a reboot on my Win 7. Perhaps Nvidia changes something? I did notice the control panel and all functionality was there even before I rebooted (to play it safe). Now I have a happy 2 days of reinstalling everything. Thanks NVIDIA!

I'm runnign vista 64 bit OS with my phenom quad core 2.6Ghz, 8GB RAM, GTX260.
When installing it usually says that an error occured (in which case it says that no system settings have been altered and that I should retry the installation), else it says that it has installed, but when i restart the pc I get no nvidia control panel and the drivers seem to have reverted to standard monitor/display drivers :(

I had similar issues like that using drivers 1.16. Sometimes my PC would not detect my SLI setup and drivers would be reverted to standard monitor/display drivers. The weird part is that after restarting PC again everything would be back to normal and SLI was ok with the right drivers. I really have no clue what causes this, It's a mix of beta drivers, win 7 and 3D Vision. That's the price we pay for been early adopters therefore we are a few lucky ones to enjoy such a groundbreaking technology in our homes.
Now since I have installed the 1.17 WHQL drivers everything seens to be fine so far. I hope it stays that way.
