A/V Receiver or HDMI switch that properly handles 120Hz HDMI video?

Yep sounds like its hit or miss. AVRs used in this capacity are at the minimum, HDMI repeaters, which means they're just doing as the name implies, repeating the signal and passing it along. The problem it seems is that not all AVRs are going to have signaling components that can handle 120Hz frequencies so you may end up with the same thing you'd see from trying to force an unsupported resolution/refresh rate on a monitor. No signal or frequency out of range etc.

NVIDIA does not presently support AV receivers with Geforce 3D Vision when used in between the display and the PC.

We can't fix your bug if we can't reproduce it. Please provide as much details as possible including specs, steps to reproduce, graphics settings used, etc..

Will this be supported in a future driver version for GeForce products? I noticed this in a recent leaked developer/Quadro driver release notes that indicates EDID can be forced via driver. As it is right now, you have to use something like a DVI Doctor or Gefen DVI to allow the video card to recognize the display behind the AVR. Here's the link and relevant portion on EDID I was referring to:
