Please provide a new stereo driver. Dual Core stereo driver.

[quote name='gkv_x64' date='Sep 3 2006, 09:50 AM']Not test it in DualCore-problems (I deleted SeriouseSam2), but driver haven't any different in Doom3-core games.
Anyway you must KNOW - this realise just OFICIAL QUADRO-SLI support. Don't see strereo-news in it.

First, thank you Chopper!
91.47 3D stereo Driver tested negative on my dual core system. It hard locks my system 10 seconds in on the stereo test requiring a reset. I think it is safe to say that dual core support is not yet here for 3D stereo.
If I do not see dual core stereo support in the next Nvidia stereo driver I will most likely be moving to ATI. I think this is getting old already. This will be the third time in as many years that I have had to shelve my shutter glasses and wait for Nvidia to release a decent stereo driver and it is always way behind the ball. Stereo support has always been an after thought to Nvidia and I am not sure that is going to change any time soon. Given that this is really the primary reason I choose Nvidia graphics cards over ATI, IMHO this should be a grave cause for concern to Nvidia. Time will tell.....

I wait new driver too... but be patient - this driver - is a work for quadro-SLI; beta published many days ago (if you tryed it, you know - NO another cards, then supported quadro-SLI, was listed in it). It was writen and testing for them. We need REALLY new driver.

Sorry for the late post, I had some problems with the upstart of the new system.
I am running:
Intel Conroe E6600 from 2.4 to 3.4GHz on an Asus P5W DH, 1GB Corsair 6400-CL4 XMS2 dual channel @ 1:1.
I wanted to wait for the G80 so have got the equivelent of my old 6800GT for the moment for £92: 7600GT. This too is OCd to 600/1600 from 560/1400 without volt mod.
Also running a clean formatted 3x60GB RAID-0 array, and X-Fi music with 550W PSU.
Games tested so far: Halflife2 Episode 1 and Prey.
Everything works perfectly. It is rock stable. SuperPI and Prime95 show no errors. Both cores working fine.
Ofcourse, Prey has that Doom3 engine problem, where the performance drops to about %20 in stereo. This is an engine/driver compatibility problem, not a hardware problem - I remember it works well with older drivers.
So, I guess I am one of the lucky ones.
My Raid-0 array crashed during the new build so Ivlost installs for about 10 games inc oblivion, quake 4, doom3/Roe, halflife2, painkiller, FEAR etc etc, so it will take time to go through each one again one by one and list any new problems.
Out of curiosity, I know that a while back AMD released a duual core patch of some sort. Alot of people on several prominent forums are raving about the better performance and compatibility. Have the people using AMD processors tried this patch?

I currently have all the AMD patches installed and I still crash with the dual core HAL working. Once I switch to the single core HAL, it's no problem. Odd, with most of the settings turned up, and also running 800x600 (just got some z800's) and I am getting a solid 50 to 55 fps in stereo mode /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />

Anyway you must KNOW - this realise just OFICIAL QUADRO-SLI support. Don't see strereo-news in it.

since my conroe setup, i have had to install due to a corrupt windows. i thought it may have been due to overclocking
now, after another 2 installations - im convinced it was the 3d driver XD
both times happened after trying to run 3d - 1st time in hl2 ep 1, 2nd time with flatout 2.
all times this error has resulted in an unbootable windows and tons of corrupted files
now im not installing the 3d driver until proper dual core support.
not sure if disabling the 2nd core would work, but im not sure if i even want to chance it atm. i have work to do wth this computer
so, yeah, hurry up NV!
