Shadowplay has been leaked - available now
I can't get this to work. I record Lego Marvel, high quality, and when I try and open it, not only does it not open in any of my players (3d vision player, windows media (as a sbs image display) or powerDVD11 Ultra), but worse than that, it starts a process that leaks memory and uses up my 8Gb of ram in about 2 mins so I have to reboot. What settings are others using to get it to work? I am of course on latest driver and GTX 770. **EDIT It will record in 2D, but I don't care about that...
Not sure if this is the case but there's an issue with Windows 7 trying to generate thumbnails for 3D movies, usually happens by default for anything in 'My Videos' ... I encountered it awhile back, it's crazy it just keeps consuming memory. Pretty sure this was it ... It is a dllhost process that springs up something called "COM Host" or something, all the words in the title. I'll see if I can find the link through Google and turn off whatever it thinks it is doing... **EDIT The link works now, must've been a glitch my end.

That solution to the MS issue is a doozy. GG, MS.

@mikear69 Lego Marvel records for me.
I did a clean re-install of drivers and I can now record and playback in PowerDVD11, but not Nvidia Stereo player, so I guess I need to check my codecs for that. I am still getting the memory leak though, but I am at least able to 'End Process' in task manager, and after a few times of it springing back to life it stops. Wierd. **EDIT Am very impressed with the quality of these recordings, and the framerate is fantastic. I'm not getting any stuttering or anything. I have not recorded a demanding game yet though. Do 700 series cards have the same h.264 unit as the 600 series, or did they improve it?
Pretty sure there's no difference between 600 and 700 series. It's just an .264 encoding chip they started putting in with the 600 series. I think it's especially important they be equal, otherwise the 600 series would have streaming performance issues with Shield that the 700 series wouldn't.

Oh wow, I am impressed. I was recording WITHOUT SLI [I forgot to turn on]. At high settings without a drop in frame rate at 1080p. Edit: I spoke to soon SLI enabled is causing crashes when recording for me.

I thought I found my first wart. Was playing Ys: The Oath in Felghana and suddenly the 3D stopped and it went 2D on me. And I could tell it was kind of streaming the background (like it was .264 compressed). Went and turned shadowplay off and it continued. As soon as I made it to the end of the dungeon and to the boss, 3D returned. I don't know what game this system was originally designed for, but it must have ran like a dog during that dungeon. So the developers had to enable streaming 2D background to make the level run without killing the framerate. :lol. I don't think I've ever seen a game do that (I mean have to implement emergency procedures partway through a game).

It seems to have trouble with "high motion". http://www.3dvisionlive.com/ugc/25399/batman-arkham-origins-test

@eqzitara, have the same problem...to bad, because "low motion" scenes works perfect and "0" fps loss....first nice Nvidia feature in a while.

@Tsaebeht That link solved my problem - thanks :-) Also, shadowplay will record native game renderers like Lego Batman 2, so that's pretty cool. I feel sorry for FRAPS, shadowplay is going to take away half of their customer base (i.e. the Nvidia half).

Ah, I am uploading 2 videos of shadowplay onto 3d vision live to show that audio is pretty easy to fix [or close enough that it doesnt seem way off]. Its not that audio is out of sync but its actually X% too fast. Its pretty easy to correct with something like adobe premiere [unlink audio/video. Slow down audio X%. Find a point before dialog. then use your left/right arrow to manually play video back by frame]. It took me around 5 minutes for both videos and that was first time doing it. The bad news is it doesnt seem to be consistent. In one video I recorded its 3% too fast. another is .9% Though it seems Mikes Marvel Lego video doesnt have this issue.

Maybe I was wrong about motion because I just did a combat scene and it came out alright.

I'm still having the "motion" issue in Batman AO, not trying other games....so maybe is game related. I will do more test with others games. @eqzitara,the combat fight you record (with none motion issue)....there are some Physx stuff in the screen? because all time i record a fight (and having the issue) there are some physx effects in the screen...maybe is that. Also i dont have the "out of sync audio" issue. Using the 1080p/60, HIGH and Manual Record config.
