OMG! Revengeance was amazing. I watched a let's play of it because it was so good. Like its silly but its fun. Its visceral and feels so rewarding, tons of epic scenes. If someone asked me to explain why Rising is good. My answer is HYPE. Like I thought DMC was good but I kept saying I wish this was Rising. If its a straight port, I would not complain.
If its a straight port but they double the amount of "cutting" allowed.
I already own it on the 360 but I'd buy them both for PC if they work in 3D. It's more linear than I like my Castlevania's to be but it's still a great game.
i loved the game on console and would love to play it in 1080p + 3D vision.
one of the best artworks in any game i ever played
I didn't love it on PS3, I just didn't feel it the combat was as well designed as the God of War series, which it seemed to borrow heavily from.
personaly i found it way better then god of war.
it was bigger, more different levels (rain, snow, forrests, hills, mountains, castles, cementery), no level recycling, better setting, better artwork...
but i guess it depends on the taste

Finally the Demo is out on Steam. I have slow download transfer at the moment so have to hold up. Someone please give it a try if anything good with 3D.
BTW: Good promotion as well. Game with all DLC for £18.

i was trying to download the demo... says app not released. :/
I tried the demo on my ps3 a long time ago. framerate was absolutely horrid. I couldn't even make it through the demo. Once I got to that big "dog" creature thing, damn game was playin at about 10 fps. I just shut it off and deleted it. Game seemed like it would be fun.. if it weren't for the ps3's abhorrent fps.

I also have problem with download. Will check it later.
I am more concern about Stereo 3D quality/issues tho. Since this is PC platform i am not affraid of performance issues;)

Ok guys, just tried it.
Bad news: its broken out of the box. Shadows and water reflections are main issue.
Good news: i feel like this game can be fixed and put on par with Darksiders 2 or DMC. Convergence isnt locked. Framerate is smooth as butter and you can bind controls as you like.
Helix, you have a new toy to play with. We are counting on you.

Shadows are broken, reflections, and some effect that doubles things. However, shadows can be turned off, and crank convergence up real high, and it's playable (for me, I'm tolerant). Best thing is... solid framerate. Glad I didn't buy the ps3 version long ago. If yall helix mod geniuses can fix those things, this game will be badass in 3d.

yeah I just tried it too, turned off the shadows and it looks OK, and appears like it could look flawless with a helix fix, the demo is short but pretty cool. The worst thing is the menus, they are completely screwed. It looks promising though.

Anywho, use prototype profile and its more "playable". If you want to play demo without a fix. Lighting is too bonkers without a fix on default profile.
Edit: I cant get any shaders to dump. So this might be something only helix can do.

EDit 2: OOO.. Shaders dump one level up. Put dx9settings.ini there as well. Newest debugger doesnt work but second does.
Im on a break so Im not going to be looking at game myself[even though I plan to look at some other games soon] and I doubt I can fix those shadows regardless. I only really have a shot if shadows are "off" rather then 2D.
Menu is kind of a simple fix, with some effort.
Just download helix's fix for ME3. Delete his shaderoverride folder. Click O adjust convergence/depth at menu, save with F7. Gameplay save to P with F7. Use xpadder/joy2key for controller[thumb sticks]. I kind of doubt menu itself will be fixed because thats not hud. Thats a physical model put WAAAY to close to camera. [God knows how many textures/shaders then you have to hope they don't use that any of those textures throughout the game]

Wow,Castlevania for PC,that's great news.Yesterday I tried both 2 castlevania for PS2(Castlevania - Lament of Innocence and Castlevania - Curse of Darkness) using PCSX2 3D and depth works ok but I could not perfect adjust convergence(In Grandia III is perfect for me).
