One big reason I have decided to purchase Nvidia Vision + Monitor + Video card is because Bad Company 2 appears to be supporting 3D. I'm hoping it looks as good as many people claim the Avatar game is.
They released a screenshot showing someone playing with Nvidia glasses:

I also contacted one of the developers on Twitter on how extensive the support was for 3D...
How extensive is 3D support? Might buy Monitor/Glasses/Card for if it's designed for stereoscopic 3D.

We worked with Nvidia to support it as best possible & everyone that sees it running loves it.
Pretty cool to see new games beign developed with 3D in mind. Hope more games go out of the way to support 3D as best as they can.

looks good, only thing that scares me is that overlay (names, capture points etc) , might be at depth 0 and dice goes /care..... BUT they might also have fixed that for us so its gonna be exciting to start it up and see
EDIT: looked more closely at the picture on the first post, can see that the crosshair is 3d AND there is a blue icon which looks like its 3d aswell, so it looks promising!

well i got the beta cause i preordered from steam and i'm not impressed at all. there is no 3d effect at all. i gotta look in the settings some more, maybe there is an option to turn 3d on. this is a major letdown. i wish i didn't preorder it now. nothing is 3d. if you change the depth only the 2d gun moves to the left. same thing with convergence. there is only 1 picture to play with so i'm getting no 3d.
i'm gonna go mess around and see if there is a setting i missed cause this can't be right. :(

I wanted to provide an official statement on Bad Company 2 and 3D Vision support
We are currently working with the DICE and EA on 3D Vision support. Some previous press articles mentioned our partnership: http://elder-geek.com/2010/01/bad-company-...nth-3d-enabled/
EA and DICE have been demonstrating Bad Company 2 working in 3D to key press. We anticipate more before the game is released. The press reaction was very positive and we are exicted to work with them.
The current Bad Company 2 Beta does not the final code changes to properly support 3D Vision, therefore we do not recommend running it in 3D Vision right now and drawing any conclusions on the 3D capabilities of the game. Our developer team is working with DICE and EA to fix issues for the final release of the game. We believe the entire community will be excited to see the final game in 3D Vision since it will look amazing.

Damn Andrew, now I'm even more excited to play this game in 3D.
I'm actually glad you can't play in 3D in beta, still haven't received my monitor (although I got my glasses yesterday). I'd feel like I was missing out if everyone was playing in 3D and I wasn't
