OpenGL Programming + Acer HN274H + nVidia 3D Vision How do I turn on the shutter glasses when progra
Hello,

I have a Quadro 600, which, according to nVidia's website, is compatible with OpenGL programming and stereo vision. My display is an Acer HN274H with built-in ir emitter. I have been able to set up the right and left eye viewing frustums. However, I request the GL_STEREO pixel format for viewing 3D effects yet the ir emitter does not turn the glasses on. This is extremely frustrating as there is limited solid documentation on programming stereo vision into your applications.

I am quite at a loss as to what to do. I have enabled stereo in the OpenGL display settings of the nVidia Control Panel (Manage 3D Settings). Other programs work fine and communicate with the shutter glasses (i.e. 3D Vision Photo Viewer).

Is there anyone that can give me some answer as to how to turn the glasses on when I am displaying my OpenGL scene (again I have already set GL_STEREO to true and GL_DOUBLE_BUFFER to true).

Thanks
