It doesn't stay disabled!
I have 186.08 and like the title says, even though I disable stereoscopic 3D in the control panel, it turns it self back on as soon as I start certain games like WoW, Mass Effect or Crysis. It's extremely annoying, as I have to go disabling it again every time.
Is there some workaround for this?

I am having the exact same problem. I dont' use streoscopic 3d at all. A solution would be greatly appreciated

Wait... what? Why wouldn't you use stereo 3d... it is so much cooler than 2d gaming, and you already seem to own it.

I don't have the glasses, and seeing how my FPS gets cut to 1/4 of normal when stereoscopic 3D is turned on I have no intention of buying them.
So, I just want to turn it off and have it stay disabled for good.

If you have noticed this problem with 186.08 beta I'd suggest you go back to the 185 version until a full 186.08 is realeased. It appears to be a flaw within the Driver.

Yeah, a lot of people seem to be having this problem with WoW. I'd recomend making sure you have stereo 3d DISABLED in the nvidia control panel (the box UNchecked) and that you have it DISABLED in the WoW video options panel in-game. If you have both de-selected and disabled and the drivers still go into 3d mode when you launch you should probably just roll back to 185 until the next set of betas.

I have the same problem, but mirrored. When I have 3d stereo ENABLED, and I start WOW it becomes DISABLED.

Please help me? Ive also made a topic about this.
