I just purchased Magrunner: Dark Pulse on Steam, and initially it looks great.
There is a bit of a contrast issue similar to Portal 2 which causes some ghosting, and the reflective walls are a bit off, but at high convergence the game looks pretty fantastic overall.
I've only played through a few levels so I have no idea if anything will cause problems later on, but I have high hopes so far.
If you can imagine Portal with magnets instead of portals it should give you an idea of what the game is like.

Can disable the "portal crosshair?" Or that comes later?
Ill check it out though, ty. I often talk about how I really liked quantum conundrum/portal 1/2 in 3d
There is no crosshair at the moment, you hold down the left or right mouse button for a positive or negative magnetic charge, and it sends out a red or green laser pointer.

Grab helixs fix for ACM. Drag and drop into folder.
open his dx9settings
Search for 501
and remove it.
go into shaderoverride/vertexshaders/
create blank txt
paste this
vs_3_0
dcl_position v0
dcl_texcoord v1
dcl_texcoord o0.xy
dcl_position o1
save. rename it to
85E60A00.txt
[Removes reflections]
Go to Users\eqz\Documents\my games\Magrunner\YoshiGame\Config\yoshisystemsettings
change
PerObjectShadowTransition=60
to
PerObjectShadowTransition=1
Removes character shadows but keeps casted.
If helix doesnt do a fix Ill check back on it a week or longer. I could probably fix reflections as is but I need to figure out how helix fixed shadows in remember me. It seems they changed everything and I need to relearn what to do with shadows. If I can.
Either way follow my instructions and its excellent or can wait for something better. [Speaking in general not just to you]
It would be probably good to remember that perobjectshadow thing I mentioned. I think thats seriously been in every UE3 game and no one realized it till I did for remember me.

The in game crosshairs aren't working (for me at least) so I fixed them by using the Mass Effect 2 profile in nVidia Inspector for Magrunner.exe and use the nVidia laser sights.
