But is this just some fake stereoscopic 3D made from existing 2D content? Or is this the same as was seen in theatres (ie. real 3D).

i have watched this and i hope this is not the real 3D trailer as i watched lotr the two towers the other day using power dvd 10 3d and thought that looked better than this

I find it looks really great, especially given how little separation the trailer uses (due to Cinema screen size calibration)
It must look better on big screens.
I've also seen some shots which have a little vertical parallax (booooh ;) )
