Edit: the strange thing is that Steam lists it as a directx 9 game, under requirements.
I guess I was wrong. I can't seem to get it to work on my system though.

thanks. I just added the fullscreen option and changed max resolution to 120 and that seems to have worked.

I got it to work with the changes to the scr file mentioned above but it looks horrible. Also, the only thing you do is snipe and the sight is in 2D so you need to turn off 3d constantly if you want to hit enemies.
I'll continue playing it in 2D though as I like sniping :)
