I assume you're talking about running you're projector at it's highet none 3D refresh rate to get back the brightness loss through DLP-Link (since you're not using it anyway)?
This ought to work, you'd have to somehow work around the NVFail box, and somewhat harder it may be the case that NVidia tweaks glasses timings /display based on the EDID.

The showstopper might be the shutterglasses "dead time" , opaque to transparent reset takes up to 2.5 mS . In that case we can still use a "polarization modulator".
But It works flawless as far I see! And indeed, this is the dlp-link-less "depthQ" mode.

Only nvidia is applying some kind of rescaling, when it runs in nvfail mode, we want to knock that out. /happy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Funny this projector is already the best bang for the buck and it can be improved upon like no tomorrow. /tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Cheap add on circuit between the PC and the projector can be added for timing tweaks, I have to build one for my 16:10 CRT monitor anyway ( in transit).

I managed 100hz running, only the glasses are upside down and nvfail box opens. Again, its triple as bright and flickerfree.
I think CRT mode should fix this.
So who knows about CRT mode ...?

Why LCD's have 100hz mode , when the pj can run @ 100hz as well?
It'd be required for smooth playback of 50i video source.

Possibly allow us to use the generic CRT 100hz mode?
