Rename crysis2demo.exe to crysis.exe, this will not only give you 100% sli scaling and support, but will give you the absolute best 3d image i have seen on a fps. It is without a doubt a 3d ready title and probably the best I have seen. Try it!

I dunno, the pop-out is nice but there isn't much depth to me, even when I hack it over 100%. I wish there was an .ini file we could tweak but I can't find one anywhere.

Hi
With Crysis 2, the 3D rendering is handled by the Crytek 3 engine, not our drivers. Therefore the profile doesnt do anything to enable settings.

Cool! How do you think the 3D looks?

We still want the option to run in 3DVision native (2 frame) so we can control convergence and depth in the usual way.
Nvidia's implementation of stereo is brilliant, let us use it!
I played for 3 hours long. Crytek UK made an excellent job. Hard to get immersed though. Im no longer dissapoint. /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
This 3d is not bad , though blatantly obvious its not real, it's missing some of that 'noise', and extra 'spatial information' and that's bad.

I just played with the demo and 3d. The good: performance is really excellent. Even on my rig (Q6600 @3.3 with Geforce 480) im getting near solid 60 fps constantly. The Bad: the 3d they use is way..way to shallow for my taste. Im spoiled by the super depth that 3d vision can use in games. This one has a little more depth than your average 3d movie...OK but not great. It looks about as good as the xbox 360 version in 3d. The 3d solution they are using seems wicked fast....if they could only add more depth.

I'm guessing there will be a .ini we can adjust to put convergence and depth numbers to where we want; I would say the solution that Crytek used is excellent, just needs somes adjusting.

When 3D is enabled the nano-suite menu isn't displayed properly for me, it's invisable with only the arrows showing, does anyone else get this? Is it by design or a driver bug?

Trying to get a 3D video done today, will post it on here as and when i do. @Caper70, have you tried to increase the depth within the Crysis 3D settings?

Only while In game can you adjust depth settings in the menus. :) It doesn't separate as far as 3d vision but it does ok. I think the 3d effect is nice and the performance is superb!
I think that this new 3d rendering technique is awesome! A little more depth would be nice, and a convergence bar or something. Maybe in future games. I really think there is a future for this alternate stereo rendering used in Crysis 2!

As I am playing my stereo 3d titles in really strong settings (100 % and way stronger convergence as usual) I have really big problems to say where the difference between this new approach and usual 3D vision is. Can anyone tell me, where the problems are?

Don't use the nanosuit wheel. Im using these keys now:
Q: armor
E: invisibility
F: nanovision <- you have to map this so you can tap it fast. It's like cheating but funnier.
