I'm trying to get nVidia 3d vision working with this TV, but I can't get the 3d image to look 3d. The glasses are working, and I have it in test mode in the software in 720p, 60hz, but it's not 3d. I've tried putting it in game mode, and tried turning off the motion plus, but still no dice.
Has anyone managed to do this? It says it supports 720p at 60hz, so why would this not work?

Just because something's not supported doesn't always mean it doesn't work. The nVidia 3d support historically used to always work on a CRT monitor that supported a refresh rate fast enough to show a left and right eye image in each frame regardless of resolution. If that's still the case, my question as to why this would not work on a 60hz signal treating the 3DTV as a standard CRT device sounds valid.

As the product manager, it would have been nice of you to point out that 3D Discover "would work" /w00twave.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':w00twave:' />

Your TV does not support CB/frame sequential mode and 3D Vision is strictly CB/ frame sequential at 1920x1080. 3DV does not support any 3D gaming at 720P on 3DTVs such as yours.
You need to swap your TV for a xxD7000/xxD8000 LED samsung, or , any 2010 xxCxxxx samsung, this is the only way you will get good image quality with Nvidia 3D gaming software.
Not supporting 720P via 3DTV Play is not a problem because the image quality is butt ugly in this way, you'd be better off 2D gaming.

So yah, he needs to return it or use 3D Vision Discover, as stated earlier.
