As wrote above, I'm trying to install the glasses but I have some issues.
I plugged the USB cable to PC and to the IR emitter but the ON/OFF switch is constantly red flashing doesn't matter how many times I push it.
Why is it so and what do I have to do?
Vista didn't find any compatible drivers for the Stereo Controller.. Even when I put the nVidia DVD in!
Do you advice me to delete 190.62 WHQL and install 1.07 DVD drivers so that I can do the installation from there?
I would do what the manual says but instead of using the dvd drivers that came with it DL the Newer drivers 1.11 from the nvidia site. I dl'd the entire cd Then, it tells you to uninstall your graphics driver (no matter what version) Reboot then sartup the installation of the dl'd cd and firstly install the graphics driver on cd then I believe it was a reboot, then install the vision drivers then follow the wizard to align glasses.. Should all be in manuals.
If howver you have already done it this way, then please say and I will try to help
Quick add, make sure you dont plug the IR emitter in until it tells you too

So basically you agree that I should uninstall "normal" graphics driver in favor of 1.XX 3D specific drivers for the Wizard. Well, I agree, I think I might do it with 1.07 'cause it's faster since I already have it here...
Once I have set it up, can't I simply download latest drivers then? 190.62 or whatever?

The glasses and the dl cd IS using the 190.62 drivers. its all in the latest cd download. my point was you need to install it the correct way or you can have problems ;)
And why install an older version, ie 1.07 when you will need to install the newer version straight after? do it properly the first time with new version :)

This doesn't work no matter what I do...It's sad >.<
The wizard helps in nothing. At some point it says that this button on the emitter must be green...But it isn't! Why in the hell is this button red? Damnit....
The wizard also says that my monitor, the samsung 2233rz, is 3D ready but not checked as such by the system! I even installed the monitor's drivers, what do I have to do?

Honestly I don't think that the newer drivers or older have something to do with the simple installation of the glasses, and yes I did everything else, up to the point when I ran the Wizard without plugging the emitter, but it changes nothing...It is still red flashing.

The problem is mostly that the Stereo Controller isn't installed and I don't know how to ever install it.

what version of Vista are you running and is it 64 or 32 bit?
I would use the 1.10CD since the 1.11 has some errors with the majority of us.
what Video card are you using also?
Intel Core i9-9820x @ 3.30GHZ
32 gig Ram
2 EVGA RTX 2080 ti Gaming
3 X ASUS ROG SWIFT 27 144Hz G-SYNC Gaming 3D Monitor [PG278Q]
1 X ASUS VG278HE
Nvidia 3Dvision
Oculus Rift
HTC VIVE
Windows 10
I had this too... and I have the same windows. (Ultimate 64)

Ok, a friend of mine helped me passing the file I had to install... Now it works and I tried it with Left 4 Dead, it's amazing! At first I was yet wondering around but then I looked at my weapon and at the charactersm, just wow. It's amazing...I found myself pushing some more depth farther than default and even if it was still with less than 25%, the experience was incredible. It actually is like 3D objects gained life.
Even now that I am in Windows I feel that sense of lost space...I think it will be hard to play again in 2D, and we are only at the beginning of the technology.

I hear you there. I have trouble motivating myself to play a game that is only playable in 2d. Wolfenstein and Riddick are both sitting on my pile of shame since I am waiting for them to perhaps get 3d support before I give up and play them in 2d.

The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.
Hi Alexious,
could you please name describe the file that you installed? I am experiencing similar problem with red flashing. Or could you please upload somewhere just the driver for "nvidia stereoscopic 3d usb controller"?

I hear you there. I have trouble motivating myself to play a game that is only playable in 2d. Wolfenstein and Riddick are both sitting on my pile of shame since I am waiting for them to perhaps get 3d support before I give up and play them in 2d.
Even now that I am in Windows I feel that sense of lost space...I think it will be hard to play again in 2D, and we are only at the beginning of the technology.

The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

At first I was yet wondering around but then I looked at my weapon and at the charactersm, just wow. It's amazing...I found myself pushing some more depth farther than default and even if it was still with less than 25%, the experience was incredible. It actually is like 3D objects gained life.
