Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series
Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series offer 12+ hours http://store.steampowered.com/app/330840/ Steam Description... "Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series is a six part episodic game series set in the world of HBO's groundbreaking TV show. This new story tells of House Forrester, a noble family from the north of Westeros, loyal to the Starks of Winterfell." The game takes place concurrently with the television series, from the end of the third season until just prior to the start of the fifth season. So if you haven't watched the series and plan on doing so, you might want to play the game when you are. See the Steam forums, for more information on the tie-in. Note: If you have A Game of Thrones by Cyanide Studios installed, Steam will install this game in the same folder. So when you see the Unreal 3 config files, ignore them, they are not for AGOT: ATGS. AGOT:ATGS uses the Telltale Tool Engine and does not offer a config file AFAIK.

I recently played The Walking Dead: Michonne - A Telltale Miniseries using a custom profile that made it playable. Since most of the Telltale games use the same engine, you can try it on others as well. It seems to work pretty well on this game, I only tried it for a few minutes. Anyways, better than nothing. If you want to try it, follow these instructions.
Hello all. ============================== I. I've no idea if it will be playable like this, it's worth a try. It definitely made Michonne playable, where before it wasn't. Note: this is a custom profile that I made based on the wic_dx10 profile for World in Conflict. It's using a stereo cutoff from another profile. That's why you have to import it. Edit: now that this has a fix, this profile is not needed, I will leave it up in case someone wants to try it on any other games.

I. Tools Needed:
==============================
- Geforce 3D Profile Manager

==================================================
II. Step 1 - How to export current Nvidia Profiles
==================================================

1. First go to "C:\ProgramData\NVIDIA Corporation\Drs" Folder.

2. We are interested in these 3 files:
  • nvdrsdb0.bin - DataBase0 binary file
  • nvdrsdb1.bin - DataBase0 binary file
  • nvdrssel.bin - DataBase Selector file between 0 and 1

  • 3. Delete the nvdrssel.bin file. (It will get automatically generated on profile import)

    4. Start Geforce 3D Profile Manger and hit [Export SLI Profiles]. Save the file.

    After doing the steps above, you will need to open up the saved profiles

    The first entry in the extracted profiles is "BaseProfile "Base Profile""

    Leave a space below it and copy and paste this profile

    Profile "001 Game of Thrones - A Telltale Games Series"
    ShowOn GeForce
    ProfileType Application
    Executable "Throne.exe"
    Setting ID_0x701eb457 = 0x2241ab21 InternalSettingFlag=V0 //MysteryStereoSetting
    Setting ID_0x7050e011 = 0x7418eed9 InternalSettingFlag=V0 //seems to help, better to leave in?
    Setting ID_0x708db8c5 = 0x5c1beabe InternalSettingFlag=V0 //seems to help, better to leave in?
    Setting ID_0x709a1ddf = 0x4b1cd968 InternalSettingFlag=V0 //StereoCutOff one of severall
    Setting ID_0x70edb381 = 0x24208b5c InternalSettingFlag=V0 //keeps prompt at screen depth for this game
    SettingString ID_0x704d456e = "D-Man11's custom profile"
    SettingString ID_0x7051e5f5 = "2"
    EndProfile

    Then use the profile manager to re-import the profiles.

    Any hope to get this game fixed? I'm currently playing The Walking Dead games (finished again the first one today, since i lost my saves :(). Thank you Eqzitara and 4everAwake for the fixes ;). D-Man11 too for the tricks! This one is in my short list of game i want to play & finish. 4everAwake, maybe you can take a look if you have the time and the desire to play it? Curious to know if you are interested, or need an access to this game with steam family share if you don't own it.

    The awesome thing about this game, is that it has the actors from the HBO series voicing their characters. Anyone that is a fan of the show should definitely play it, the brutality and treachery is great. Now that it has a fix, it will be that much more awesome. The Wolf among is us is great also, gotta love twisted fablles. I just wish that Telltale would change it up a little in their future games with some actual gameplay and not just QTE. Their story telling is great. Thanks for the fixes 4everAwake! BTW, they are working on a second Game of Thrones.
