Benq w1070 is what most use from my observations. I've got one and I've seen it as low as $600 recently. It's still 720p 3D for games but a 1080p 3D (while gaming) projector under $4000 doesn't seem to exist.
What is everyone using for projectors?
I recently picked up the Benq W1070 and quite happy with it. I use 3DPlayTV and game in either 1280x720@60hz and some games at 1920x1080@24hz and the immersion from my previous TV is a huge leap. There are few additional mods/tools I use to down sample for even increased picture quality such as gedosato. Even with 720P (1280x720@60hz), games on the big screen look great! http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?tag=gedosato Also, I've used SweetFX on many games to improve things such bloom, jaggies etc....this is more of a subjective thing and the improvement is more subtle, but effective. http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/ Bioshock 1/2 with gedosato and SweetFX in DX9 mode on a 120 inch screen is an amazing 3D experience and the Deadspace series with the same tools are truly epic in 3D. The Benq W1070 with it's price point is well worth it and I have zero regrets on the purchase. Addendum: All of the above also require the Helix 3D fixes. http://helixmod.blogspot.ca/
