You need an "Active (ie: powered) Disply port to DVI-D Dual link converter" (notice I did NOT use the word "adapter") for your card to work with your elder monitor and 120hz/3D Vision. These converters are NOT cheap mind you...They typically run between $100-$200 USD and are difficult to find these days. (There were popular a few years back until monitor manufacturers caught on) Example (on sale)
Screen ASUS VG248QE
If you are going to buy a new display, you'd be better off putting that money towards a 1440P monitor, your 1080ti will work fine. If price is an issue, the Dell S2417DG 24 inch 1440P G-Sync monitor is often on sale cheap at various places. For an adapter the one from Accel is known to work without issues. (I called it an adapter, which is what the manufacturer calls it. D-Man...You posted the wrong page bud. The link to that Accel "adapter" is the incorrect model#...You linked the B087B-002B (2.7Gbp/s) when only the B087B-007B (10.2Gbp/s) supports 3D (thus the reason the 007b was linked in that previous thread)
