CPUCores :: Maximize Your FPS = possible CPU bottleneck Workaround + 3D Fix Manager support
Hi guys, 1. I have noticed that 3D Vision has CPU bottleneck issue. In fact the only current "cure" for this is to have strong CPU in order to have higher FPS, right? Ok so for people having slower and old CPU (like mine i5 2500k) there might be kind of workaround. It is called CPUCores :: Maximize Your FPS, you can buy it on Steam http://store.steampowered.com/app/384300/CPUCores__Maximize_Your_FPS/ on sale by 19th March. I did not try it yet with 3D since I dont have time this week, but someone might do that and post FPS measurement test results? 2. If it will really help Is it possible to incorporate support for this tool into 3D Fix Manager? As far as I understand the games have to run through CPUCores :: Maximize Your FPS app in order to utilize better CPU cores. I hope that it has some sort of command line support so 3D Fix Manager might be hooked to this? Thanks for trying and hope it will help to our 3D Vision community! Regards Pavel Update to point 2: in description it says it has command line support..

It's snake oil; I wouldn't trust some of the "benchmarks" around. All it does is change core affinity - one can do that manually by using task manager. Windows Game Mode does a similar thing. One might notice some improvement on very old CPUs. Also, https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/comments/6j8iyi/do_not_buy_cpucores_from_steam_here_is/ Your best bet is to OC your 2500K and memory for actual "free" performance.
