I just purchased a 3D kit with Asus 120hz monitor and 3D vision.
Installed new drivers and ran test. All works fine according to test.
Enabled Stereoscopic 3D in Nvidia control panel. Monitor running 1920x1080 120Hz
When trying to activate stereoscopic 3D using ctrl-T or the IR transmitter button it is not activating.
The green light on the transmitter is dim green and will not turn bright unless i use the test or 3D picture viewer.
I am running Vista 64 with i7 cpu with 6 gigs of ram
GTX285 Video
I tried the game world of warcraftwith no luck on turning 3D on.
I did use the in-game settings from the game list in the control panel.
Shouldnt I be able to just push the IR transmitter button anytime to switch to 3D?

WOW is a some what special case in that it has in game controls for 3D and it overrides the NVidia settings. Apparently the button to enable 3D was broken in the 4.01 patch.
There is some discussion of work arounds on the board here

Like ERP said, 3D Vision is messed up in WoW. Try it in some other game and let us know........ ideally, there should be no need to turn it on manually; it turns on automatically when a 3D game, video or photo starts up; of course, be sure that you are running the application in Full-Screen mode, as it doesn't work in windowed mode.
