I like these threads where everyone chimes on a particular genre/play style
Here's one:
What's the best 3D Vision game for feeling like you're travelling at an incredible rate? (Basically if the forest scene from Return of the Jedi were a game)
In the non-stereoscopic world, titles like Star Wars: Episode I Racer, Ridge Racer, Wipeout, and Dyad come to mind.
But I just looked at all of the 3D Vision Ready and Excellent-rated titles, and nothing stands out as something that would fall in this category.
Any suggestions, fellow 3D gamers?

Wipeout is pretty damn fast in 3d.
The boost effect in Flatout: Ultimate Carnage comes to mind.
Am I missing something obvious.
Gran Turismo 5.
Ordinary games like Dirt 3 has some of it depending on camera angle.
Most instances of TrackMania are pretty fast.

I just saw that Wipeout 2097 / XL is rated Excellent! Now to just find this 15-year-old game that no one sells anymore :)
Flatout: UC added to wishlist, thanks!
**UPDATED**
Psygnosis no longer exists and Wipeout is officially abandonware and can be downloaded legally :)
A 15 year old game that supports 3DVision? Really? Or is the rating a throwback to their old method?
I was wondering the same thing, especially since the game runs in DOS BOX - is that even supported by 3D Vision?
@danielmalvarado
Personally I really didn't like AudioSurf(not 2, haven't tried that one) at all but if you're interested in it I have giftable copy on steam, it's yours if you want it.

My recommendation is Need for Speed Prostreet. It is an oldie but a goodie. Absolutely flawless 3D - still the best Need For Speed game IMO. Hood cam gives great sense of speed. I am actually amazed that the graphics have held up as well as they have. They are passable even today, despite the 2007 release year. Sweet FX helps too.
Need for Speed Undercover was the next release in line, and it is also flawless except for particle effects. - That is to say 'flawless' concerning 3D. The game is so buggy I couldn't force myself to finish it. It is much more arcade-ish than Prostreet, so the sense of speed is enhanced, but is it worth playing? Probably not.
Grid 2 is beautiful as well. I played about 5 hours, but I just couldn't get into as much as NFS Prostreet. I decided to reinstall Prostreet after 5 years and was surprised how well it has held up. I probably won't go back to Grid, despite it being a good game.

Thanks so much - I have #1 but didn't even know they made a #2
My biggest problems with #1 were
- It didn't really seem to be "doing" too much with my music
- I didn't really understand what it wanted me to do in the harder modes, yet...
- The easy mode was kind of boring
Now I'm curious about what changes they made that they felt necessitated a whole new game?
Thanks again for the kind offer :)

I enjoy the totally fake drifting of an arcade racer (the more accurate a simulation is, the more it reveals to me that i'm not a very good driver :), but your enthusiasm about Prostreet makes me want to try it (added to wish list!)
I remember *kind of* liking undercover (fun fact: i'm in the game as one of the gang members in the cutscenes lol) but I think something was weird with the customizations (maybe they didn't feel like they did anything) and/or the mission-choosing mechanic
Thanks!
