Optoma HD33 vs GT750
I've seen a couple topics similar to this here, but they always remain unanswered or else are out-dated.

Anyway, I'm just wondering whether an Optoma HD33 (1080p) will be able to play games at 1080p in 3d or if the limitations from HDMI 1.4 will cause it to be 720p?

The GT750 is 720p, half the cost of the HD33 and seems the better option if 1080p isn't possible anyway.

I don't know why I'm so confused about this, but meh, any help is appreciated. Does 3dtv play support 1080p playing on an HD33 is kind of what this boils down to I guess.

First off keep in mind the gt750 is a short throw. (Look at a calculator throw distance site, but its probably like 5 feet away from screen = 80 inches). The optoma hd33 is a long throw(like 10 feet = 80 inches)*estimates.

Optoma hd 33 offers 720p 3d AND 1080p 2d.(1080p 3d@24hz which is unplayable for games, but ok for movies)
GT750 offers 720p 3d and 720p 2d.(it can upscale to 1080p2D but that looks REALLY bad)

If you are getting it solely for 3d gaming get a 720p 3d projector.

Thanks, the 750 it is. The short throw will fit better in this area anyway :)
