On the Nvidia site here, it indicates non-HDMI1.4 cards would be able to play blu-ray 3ds. However, on the powerdvd site here, it says that blu-ray 3d playback on TVs is limited to 1.4 HDMI cards. This would seem to imply that the software would not work with non-HDMI1.4 cards such as the gtx275 (current card I'm trying it with). An article on an engadget blog seems to state however that nvidia cards are upgradeable to support the TV blu-ray 3D hdmi standard, however it is not clear whether the information in this article definitely applies to only certain cards, and if so, definitely doesn't specify which cards.
So the question is can non-officially-supported-HDMI1.4 cards display the framepacked format required for current-gen TVs (i.e. 1080px2 @ 24Hz) for blu-ray movies?

I can add to this that '3dtv play', (engadget blog), is not required, I'm using the latest 260 series, and powerdvd ultra mk2 2113.
