I did a video that goes over a few tweaks that really helped me, plus a good 30 minutes of Let's Play game play. Hopefully this helps with fixing Field of View and disabling the motion blur issues that I experienced with my 2x 980ti.
Is a 3DV fix in progress ??
Hi Losti
we have common games tastes.
im too so interested in this one.
Donate the game is in the table...:)
I am not working on a fix for this game, if anyone is wondering.
I don't even have the game yet:) A bit busy with other things at the moment:(
I am not sure if anyone else is looking into making a fix though :)
At least, does 3DMigoto work with this game or is Dishonored 2 all over again?

1x Palit RTX 2080Ti Pro Gaming OC(watercooled and overclocked to hell)
3x 3D Vision Ready Asus VG278HE monitors (5760x1080).
Intel i9 9900K (overclocked to 5.3 and watercooled ofc).
Asus Maximus XI Hero Mobo.
16 GB Team Group T-Force Dark Pro DDR4 @ 3600.
Lots of Disks:
- Raid 0 - 256GB Sandisk Extreme SSD.
- Raid 0 - WD Black - 2TB.
- SanDisk SSD PLUS 480 GB.
- Intel 760p 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD.
Creative Sound Blaster Z.
Windows 10 x64 Pro.
etc
Its based off cryengine. It shouldnt have the same issues as dishonored 2 which used the void engine. The void engine was heavily based off of id tech 6.
Performance issues aside i thought the void engine engine looked fantastic. Dishonored 2 looks a lot better than Prey. Almost all the textures in dishonored 2 looked unique, presumably because of id tech engines mega textures. Prey just looks bland and sterile in comparison. I had relatively few performance issues in dishonored 2, im probably one of the few people that wishes they would have kept working on the void engine and polish it up instead of switching to cryengine.

The Witcher 3 profile does indeed work pretty well.
Some things I noticed (max settings across the board, 1440p, maintains 60fps easily w/ 1080).
The Good
- [s]Markers work great.[/s]Markers work pretty well, but aren't at target depth.
- Hardly any weird artefacts with shadows.
The Bad
- Some haloing around the weapon
- The hud gets a weird transparency applied and is a little too deep into the screen.
- The weapon itself is too close to me (like, in front of the screen), and also doesn't have much depth (it's like a cardboard cutout). Convergence doesn't seem to do much.
The Ugly
- The weapon/hud issue can be a major problem with a big weapon - the hud shines through the weapon and can make your eyes go a bit wonky.
I'm thinking about having a look into game fixes now, but I don't have a lot of time on my hands, so can't promise much. So if anyone finds a better profile in the meantime, feel free to share.

The game launches with 3DM but I couldn't get hunting to work, no overlay or anything.

It doesn't even look like a 3d model in those screenshots - looks like an old doom style png for a weapon :D
The reason the weapon is flat like that is because Nvidia's CM mode Depth Buffer Basically Starts at the weapon. So the FPS Hand is basically a Solid color so their CM algorithm can't add depth to it.
This is where Tridef and My own shader differ from CM mode. We account for this and adjust for it.
I also have more than one shader that does Z-buffer 3D So you can see the differences.
My normal shader. Closer to how Nvidia does CM mode.

My other shader. Closer to how Tridef does Power 3D mode.
WAit, BlueSky, you wrote a fix for Prey?
He wrote a shader for reshade 3.0 which produces 3D like Nvidia CM mode, Tridef Power 3D this is only useful if you own a 3D TV and it works very well.
Or if your monitor supports
frame-interlaced

If your playing that in 2D, you are losing out.
