How difficult is it to make a fix? I'd like to do one with no MSAA, and I could do the other ones (2x, 4x) for you as well, but I would need algorithmic instructions if that's possible. I don't have time to get a complete background on shader fixing right now, but if it's a mechanical process, so to speak, I can take care of it over the weekend for you.

@Stryker_66
Yep...the cut-off in that light is reduced if you reduce depth....so using a depth hack will make that worst.
@aeliusg
you can give a try looking the code in the fixed shaders folder (all shaders are taged in the first line), the pattern will be the same using others MSAA options. There is 1 pattern for Shadows (VS + PS) and 3 patterns for lights (VS + PS, and 2 patterns need to fix the PS in 2 spots), you will need to fix around 35 - 40 shaders in each MSAA option....and you will need to visit all stages of the game, because some stages use different shaders, not all the 35-40 shaders are in the first stage.
I can't use a batch fix in this game because of the lights patterns....shaders are the same, but need to fix in different ways. Next week i will take a look MSAA 2x options.

Make sure that your game version is at the newest, (1.0.447 I think) if you still can't enable 3d. Originally I couldn't even get the broken 3D to launch with 3D vision enabled, I think it may have had something to do about it being an AMD HD3D title and similar to Deus Ex:HR, 3d vision compatibility was being locked out until a later patch. I may be completely wrong on that, but I remember reading something to that effect a while back.

3D Fix and game works perfectly here (Steam version + fully updated)...most likely he is using a cracked/pirated version... in which case we should ignore... (damn pirates lol).

I can confirm that this is working with 3DTV Play. I had played this the first time around with tridef because there was no other option. Can tell you that the work you did on this is pretty amazing. The game looks a million times better in 3D Vision. Truly thankful for all the work you guys do. I would not still be gaming if not for you guys and your fixes.
Side note:
Would also like to point out that I am playing on a Sony HW40ES @ 720p. I am not sure what Sony is doing with these projectors to make them look this good at this resolution but it looks better than my Mitsu DLP 3D Vision Checkerboard. I would say it's the reality creation engine but I am not even sure it's only that.
Anyway, big thanks once again.

Excellent and Thank you,
Just googled your projector - very impressive and expensive :)
It's not without reason that Sony plays a leading role on the Electronic consumer market, they have allways been making some geat stuff..
Anyway.. I don't know anything about projectors, but I'm considering an Investment along the way...
So can you tell me why I can see on the spec sheet that it's able to show 1080P-60 and 720P-60, so why can't it run 3D in both resolutions ??
(it would be more understandable if 720P was in 120 HZ ??)
Please enlighten the projector noob on the subject !

@Blacksmtih
Sure, no problem. There are plenty of posts on this subject but the main reason is that 3DTV Play and the HDMI standard on this projector only supports 3D @ 720p/60hz or 1080p/24hz. If you can live with running games @24hz then you can run 1080p but the majority of people cannot stand the input and game lag that comes along with it. There have been very few games where I could live with 24hz, max payne 3 is the only one that comes to mine actually because it seems that the game engine was written to allow it. Tomb Raider 2013 was another I tried and it was only so so. Anyway I hope that makes sense.

I noticed that DHR has put up his fix for Hitman Absolution on the helixmod blog, very cool.
http://helixmod.blogspot.ca/
Here is something I wanted to share with the gang here since this takes the 3D experience to an amazing level. The narrow FOV locked by the developers sucks big time and I have found a mod and experimented with a hack that enables the ability to see your entire character and enhance the field of view of your environments. Highly customizable which is terrific and the best part it is simple. Hitman Absolution is a treat to play now. I started over for the full experience. The mod is pretty simple and works flawlessly.
Go here and get this program and install.
http://www.cheatengine.org/downloads.php
Then download table file from here and download the alternate table since I used both and found out the alternate works like a charm. The instructions are also on this page.
http://www.deadendthrills.com/forum/discussion/246/guide-hitman-absolution
I am going to provide a link to a very short video on how to use cheat engine and load a table while the game is running. Once you get it, it's real simple. When you load the table you only need to enable "Get Camera Coords + FOV (double space bar). When you use the Num "-" and Num "+" to adjust, just right click the mouse (which is zoom) and your new FOV remains. To toggle back to default, just F2.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qMuMoOPXcDQ
It really does baffle me why developers insist on locking camera views. This should be left for the gamer to decide!
Anyway, this game really goes up a huge amount because of this and is a real blast to play. I can't thank DHR enough for his fix. It had been a couple of years where this game was in my steam library unplayable in 3D.

Yah, it makes absolutely no sense. I had a hard time playing Mass Effect 3 until I saw on the Steam forums that someone had made a special editor that would allow me to alter the FOV by applying added distance to the camera.
Thanks for posting your workaround.

I've tried the fix on the helix blog, 3d turns on but I have broken shadows. Tried it with MSAAx8, FXAA off, DOF off, AO normal, i don't see any option for motion blur. Still broken shadows everywhere.
Uninstalled and reinstalled again, same result. Any tips? I'm using 355.98 drivers and 3dtv play, would updating the drivers fix it, i'm no big friend of updating them if everything i'm playing just works.

I just gave it a quick try, it was a mess until I set everything.
When I set MSAA 8x the first time, I didn't hit apply, the Nvidia overlay was hiding it. So it was still a mess, when I rechecked my setting I saw it was off, when I hit apply, it was perfect.
