Zalman 22" 3D price reduction (ZM-M220W)
I've been looking to buy a 3D monitor lately, and I've noticed something strange. The Zalman 22" monitor retails at around $700 on the majority of sites, but for some reason, there are a few lesser retails selling it for around $350. At first, I thought this was a different monitor, but all of the specifications check out and these retailers are convinced that they are selling a new, 22" 3D monitor from Zalman (the ZM-M220W). Originally, I was going to post here asking if anybody knew the difference, but I noticed that two new retailers now offer the low price and some of the sites with empty stocks have been replenished.

This is a good time to get the Zalman 3D monitor for cheap, although I expect the major sites like Newegg to drop their prices very soon (50% reduction seems extreme, though). Zalman did it for their 19", so I guess the 22" is becoming old technology they want to sell.

Oh, and in case you don't know, this monitor uses polarization to achieve the 3D effect. You still need to wear glasses, but they're basically sunglasses. Same sort of technology as iz3d, and it doesn't require the purchase of the 3D vision shutter glasses.
