85Hz DLP projector and Samsung 2233RZ? Two important questions...
Coincidentally I am in the market for both a projector AND a monitor on my desk.

First question is more pressing - I am seeing conflicting reports on this forum of getting "regular" 85Hz DLP projectors to work.

Some are saying that it will say "not compatible" or something to that effect and not work at all. Some are saying you just select 85Hz and thats that. Whats the actual scenario? Does it matter how it is connected to the computer? VGA or HDMI?

Getting the Nvidia recommended projector is out the question. The only one I am eyeing at this time is the XV-Z15000. I see nothing to the effect that it will work or not work with 3D Vision. It does seem that it would work with the old Nvidia implementation of stereoscopy though, which frustrates me!

Second question is pretty simple - Can you run two stereoscopic displays? I always have two displays connected to the computer - the monitor on my desk and a television (which is being upgraded to a projector as soon as these questions are resolved). How does the driver handle multiple displays?

Thanks everyone in advance - also, Mr.-Nvidia-Rep I realize you can't tell me if it will work on a noncertified display. So I'll save you time by mentioning that for you /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />

You are correct that I will say we dont support non-certified displays, but I can comment on your TV stereoscopic displays.

Today you can connect two displays (could be any combination you want) and you get the following functionality
- Stereoscopic 3d on the primary display (as labeled by the Windows or NVIDIA Control Panel). The second display will be in 2D mode. (I think we have an FAQ on this, check my signature for the link to the FAQs).
- We do not support spanning stereoscopic across two displays yet, that's on the software new feature list
