Stereo Enable and Stereo Display not available in 3D control Panel Trying to get Pymol working with
Hello all,

I have been trying to get pymol working with 3D using the instructions located at http://pymolwiki.org/index.php/Stereo_3D_Display_Options. The instructions require me to set the Stereo enable and Stereo Display in the 3D control panel but I don't have those options. I only have the power management option followed by the texture filtering anisotropic ... option.

The computer I have is a mac pro (I believe it is a second generation mac pro) with dual quad core xeons at 2.8 ghz each. It has two video cards, a ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT which I use to boot up into windows (mac doesn't recognize the nvidia graphics card that I use). The other video card is a nvidia gtx 480 which I switch over to when I run windows.

I have installed the latest driver 296.10 (english and international version) as well as the 5 drivers that came before 296.10 using the clean install option each time and none of them provided me with the stereo display and stereo enable options. Windows is also fully up to date. Any suggestions as how I can get the stereo enable and stereo display option to show?

Go to the Driver folder of 296.10, should be in your C: Nvidia/Display Driver/ directory. Look for the 3d Vision folder.

Open that and run the setup from there.

When it's finished you should have the Stereo 3d options in the Control Panel.

I can't seem to get 3DVision_296.10 to run. Do you have any idea as to why that would be the case?
