3D Newby - Fear 2/Dragon Age/Basic Questions too
OK, just received my Viewsonic Monitor last night and fired up some 3D goodness.

First impressions:

1) Pretty cool effect.
2) Quirky device - Flashing at times. Not sure when it's on or off. Base is always green but not always bright green. Glasses seem to be always on.
3) Slightly annoying issues with a couple of games that ruin a perfect experience.
4) No ghosting issues that I notice so far. Glad I saved the money and got a Viewsonic for $229. : ) So far....

So here are my questions.

1) What's with convergence. Is this important? I didn't always notice a difference.
2) How can you turn off the HUD aiming cross-hair in Fear 2? I like the Nvidia cross-hair but the white one drives me crazy.
3) How do you guys get around the character labels and info being at the wrong distance in Dragon Age? I find it annoying focusing back and forth between the character up ahead and the label right in front of me.
