80" screen? Sweet, because that's about the same size as I'm goinng to have. This looks like an awesome portable screen on newegg, and on amazon.com it's cheaper and has lots of positive reviews:
So sitting about 10 feet away from the screen you don't notice rainbows much, but moreso when further away from the screen?

I only noticed it because I know about it. My wife and daughter have never said anything about it, and I'm not saying anything, or else they'll look for it. If that gives you and indication of how much rainbow.
Screen, whole nother subject... I got an "elite screen" from Best Buy, pull down. Worked great for about 4 months until it started having little waves in the bottom, so I put 1 pound weights that hang from each side to straighten it out. Do your reviews on your screens like you do on your projector. A wavy screen will drive you nuts. Personally, I'm going to end up at some point, painting the wall. Seriously.

It came in the mail yesterday and I got it set up, projecting on the concrete basement wall lol. My portable Epson Duet projection screen is in the mail, hopefully here by the weekend. Man I gotta say, I'm very impressed. I don't see the rainbow effect at all, 2D actually looks great, and 3D has the same color depth as 2D just less brightness. It's still plenty bright tho. I'm running it in eco mode. The great thing about this projector over my Samsung 3D DLP is when in 3D the colors are very accurate. My Samsung made everything look yellowish in 3D which was a little nasty and nausiating.
I had some sync problems and found a solution that wasn't posted yet on this forum. Just in case new users are having the same problem, look here:
For less than $500 shipped, this is a killer deal and with the portable screen I can bring this to anyone's house and set it up in minutes for an awesome 3D experience.
