I would imagine that might be because Flugan has moved on to work with 3dmigoto instead of his project. I'm not sure there's much documentation for Project Flugan at present, and I'm also not sure how complete it is.

Anyone else get that let down feeling every time you look through a hole in the wall knowing its shit 2D?
Its moments like that when I realize I can never go 2d again even at 4k resolution.
BTW am I playing the same game that is currently a 69 on Metacritic? Besides the loading times in "The City" this is one of the most enjoyable games I have played in awhile.

Well its cause its being compared to Dishonored in every review. Dishonored was/is amazing but besides that there have been no other good games in similar genre. So everyone treated thief like an inferior dishonored.

Ya that's pretty much true..Even on the other forums as well it is compared to Dishonored and so its not getting its deserved credit :(
Even I am looking to play this game but the problem is I have not played any of the previous thief games,,,
Is this game a standalone story or is it in anyway related to the previous thief installments ?
Should I play any thief game before this one to not miss the story?

Just saying but theoretically you would only look through a key hole with one Eye.

I agree that Thief has a problem going against Dishonored, since Thief never had cool superpowers like Dishonored has. I haven't played it yet, and I won't even more now that Oculus Rift support seems to be on the cards http://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/1z69f0/oculus_rift_settings_in_thief_2014_files/ , but I don't think it's a fair comparison other than both are more less in the same genre.

It should be possible to increase depth but it's not as simple as changing the registry.
If I can change convergence dynamicly in DX: HR by patching the game while running I'm pretty sure the depth is stored in game memory and can be changed.
But in the end I can't do anything without buying the game.

Lol that is a good point. I didnt think of that when I read his comment.
Though if it was me I'd reduce convergence when looking through. It kind of gives illusion of one eye while maintaining 3D perspective. Kind of like helixmod does gun sights.
I kind of know what hes talking about, like in RE5 when I look through rifle scope. Game goes 2D. It makes sense but it kind of ruins the "feel".

Depth and convergence is stored in the registry but unlike DX HR the game limits the depth value to 1000.
This obviously makes it harder to increase further than maximum.
I have tried to find the in-game memory adress responsible for storing depth but so far I have not succeded.
