Thanks Zig, but I don't have any doubt that a 1080 or 1070 would handle it. I'm wondering if I'll be able to play it on my current 970, or if I should wait until I've upgraded.

I am sticking to that what Helifax suggested - if your game doesn`t run at 100-120 fps in 3D then you`ll experience minor de-sync. Look up my previous test I`ve made. I managed to get rid of sync issue just by changing refresh to 60Hz and setting Medium details on lower Resolution (980Ti). This is really worth it. I am waiting for Gpu upgrade before I come back to it. Fix make this game shine in 3D - I don`t want this to be spoiled.

Just my own experience^_^ On a Single 980Ti at 1920x1080 you will have little issue with reaching 110-120FPS or 60FPS per eye. On my Laptop with a 880 I need to use a resolution of 1600x900 or even better 1422x800 (custom resolution) to achieve a 90-100 FPS or 45/50 FPS per eye constantly. While the game might not look that demanding in 2D in 3D it is pretty demanding (because my wrapper requires sequential frames and a small delta T between frames). In some regards see it as a VR title (Where you need to constantly achieve 90-100 FPS or 45-50 per eye) ^_^. I think you can play it safely on a GTX970 but I am unsure on what resolution;) (Settings Low to High do little to change the FPS). EDIT: Geforce Experience tells me that my GTX880M - "Does not meet the minimum requirements for optimal settings in this game. The optimal settings might deliver unplayable framerates". And this is on absolute LOW values. I play the game at 1422x800 with all on Ultra and get 90-100 FPS so... I am unsure why that is like that. In any case, the game is VERY DEMANDING;) but is definitely playable on current 700, 800, 900 series GPUs.

Just two quick questions helifax: 1) According to the wrapper's instructions Surround Users should change the "DepthMultiplicationFactor" to 0.5. So if I change to a value below the dafault one does that mean overall depth will be reduced compared to the "1"-value or does it even increase depth with a value below "1"? According to this I would like to know why Surround users should apply the "0.5" value here while the ini's default value is "1". 2) Which ingame-FOV value is recommended when playing in Surround. So far I used the default "90" but maybe another value should be preferred. Any recommendation? Thanks in advance

If reverting to an older version is not a solution, a cracked version is always the way to go:) (Sick of devs breaking things with every new patch just for the kicks of it... Looking in the patch notes they didn't add anything new to the renderer...) I'll give it a quick look to see if is a 10 minutes job. If not, read above ^_^ Edit: it shouldn't take more than an hour to fix (theoretically) but is something that will have to wait for the weekend.

Game updated three time for me ! second patch was 2,7GB strong. Didn`t check yet but it looks like the only major update is regarding weapon position. That classic middle placement.

Now I feel even more DOOM-er then before;)) Hold your horses! I've already updated the fix to work on the current patch for certain GPUs (Gtx 800M series and Gtx 900 series and above) for both SP and MP. Will need to do the same for the older Gtx cards (600-700 series) as well;) It takes some time to do it all over again:) PS: I DIDN'T push any updates if you are wondering about it;)

Look at the name: "DepthMultiplicationFactor" -> Depth Multiplication Factor. Multiplication means to multiply: a * b; I don't know why you think it subtracts the value... Depth will basically be X * 0.5 = X/2; or X * 1.0 = X; pr X * 2.0 = X*2; Use what you want there mate. Try it out and see what you like. Think of it like a Depth Hack option used in DX 3D Vision to increase the Depth. 2. I use the FOV of 90 but increase the weapon FOV in FWS to + 0.5; Hope this helps.
