Little bit old discussion but this seemed to be only one that mentioned Jade Empire and I didn't want to create new topic. I have a disc version of Jade Empire Special Edition and I can't get it to work in 3D. I've tried every compatibility mode as administrator and with fullscreen optimizations disabled and enabled. The game doesn't even launch in any compatibility mode but without them it works normally except the 3D just doesn't kick in no matter what I do. Ctrl+t does nothing, if I Alt+Tab and then enable/disable 3D from Nvidia control panel it does nothing. 3D Fix manager does nothing. I have installed the 3D fix and even tried different profiles with Profile Inspector but without any luck.
Can someone who has gotten it working in 3D and still owns the game try it and tell me if it still works? I use Win10 and my driver is 425.31. I wonder if the problem is that the game is a disc version (it's part of "PC Gamer Presents" series from 2007 I think) but I just don't want to buy it digitally before someone comfirms that it really works.

>Thank You for the fix!
A hint: with clampfps=1 I had about 15 FPS whith S3D enabled. So I had to set clampfps=0 as recommended. But by this way I ran into the robes glitch where the robes of the player character flap about and move in directions before the player model itself does. In this case it is recommended to try PresentImmediate=1 in Jadeempire.ini. It helped for me. If it doesn't You could try to run the game in windowed mode. In this case add JadeEmpire.exe to the profile for World of Warcraft to enable S3D in windowed mode.

That said I am pretty sure you can add cd key to origin and get it digitally then.
I have tried different profiles with Profile Inspector but without any luck.
Sometimes, it might be that 100th profile that you try that enables it, just hope that dumb luck is on your side. Epic Mickey comes to mind, as one that I tried countless profiles on. Awesome game btw, I've no idea why people refuse to play it.

According to my old profile notes, it was working ok with default profile, only shadow wasn't perfect!
I have the Origin version which was free a couple of years ago :)

Win7 64bit Pro
CPU: 4790K 4.8 GHZ
GPU: Asus Geforce RTX 2080 TI Rog Strix OC
Monitor: Asus PG278QR
And lots of ram and HD's ;)
It's strange that I can't even turn 3D on. Keyboard shortcuts doesn't work at all in the game and enabling/disabling 3D from Nvidia control panel does nothing. In other games 3D works as it should. I finally gave up at 4 am this morning after trying all kinds of solutions. Guess I have to get it digitally at some point.
