Can you believe this?
Helix site http://helixmod.blogspot.ru/ is now banned in Russia. Every time you try to enter, you get federal law warning about "extremist behavior", "children health defence" and "information security". I mean.. WTF??

perhaps you could try "hotspot shield" and make believe your IP is in other country like Us or Europe? I dunno if it works in this case...

If all parties were to concent, how much effort would it be for someone like eqzitara to copy Helix's section on Blogspot and put it on his blog? Until Helix sorts it out? I am sure it isn't Helix which is the reason the site was blocked (who knows what blogs are lurking on Blogspot...). I doubt the same would happen to eqzitara. At least our Russian members of the community would be able to access the site...

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

My understanding is sometimes these things happen for short periods in places like Russia, the ban will probably be lifted soon. Can't find anything on the news about it - is it possible it's only your specific ISP, and you could speak with them?

Its probably a whole ban on blogspot when any one site on blogspot is under investigation in Russia. There rules are a lot different then ours. Is it already fixed? You cant just type helixmod.blogspot.com? Can always use an proxy server/site.

The language "Children Health Defence" sounds like it might be related to Russia's recent state-sanctioned homophobic horseshit. There have been lots of protests and boycotts in reaction to it recently, especially in the lead up to the Sochi games. Maybe there was a large pro-gay campaign recently on blogspot.ru, resulting in the whole domain getting blacklisted? Anyway, it seems to be up and running fine now.
