Deleted, cause my fix is not reliable sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. Will update as soon as I find a stable fix.
Edit: Found a new stable fix for Tridef, but it may not work for 3D Vision. Because Bioshock Infinite's profile is needed and 3D Vision supports BI with only fake 3D. But with Helix's mod for BI it may work, so try it out.
Name the game's exe to BI or use Nvidia Inspector to change profiles, then apply the fix in below link:

In Tridef I need to set "Post Processing" to "medium", it may be required for 3D Vision also.

I should clarify - it often seems as if games with both DX9 and DX11 options are essentially identical. Is this the case with Sherlock, or does it have noteworthy DX11 enhancements?
I'm grateful for the fix either way, I'm just curious as to whether or not there's a difference.

Has anyone noticed that the default convergence is terrible, but when you adjust it with CTRL F5/6 abd select F7 to save config it will automatically reset back as soon as you hit the F7?

Use CTRL+F7 (HelixMod save mechanism rather than Nvidia one)
