I had similar problems, but after installation of driver 355.60, and uninstallation of "KB2670838" everything works perfect, I can alt tab and even have firefox opened in background without CTDs.

As long as the Migoto fix is present in the game folder, the game wont start as it crashes with no error.

I found a solution with the Flugan Wrapper ..i had 3D Compatibility Mode: ON, that's why the 3d was all messed up with his wrapper. I didn't even knew what 3d compatibility mode was and why it was present in that game but i turned it off and now the 3d is good. Tks Flugan for the wrapper. I still have no idea why Flugan Wrapper works and 3D Migoto Wrapper crashes at start in my Windows 10.

So that means "KB2670838" is the problem for my crashing at start ..and if its hard coded in Windows 10 that is why i cant see it in "View installed updates" to remove it. So i see no way around this with the Migoto, other then using Flugan's Wrapper.

I've updated with the latest wrapper on http://flugan.net/games.htm. Have not touched NVPANEL Windows 10 Ingame graphics settings Post process effects = medium MSAA = off Post process AA = off The rest on ultra or higher. (Textures had something beyond Ultra) Shaders pre-baked so no VERY long loadtime on first boot.

I just spent my whole day off following all the instructions (the different variations of them anyway) and can't get it working properly in Windows 10 using Flugan's wrapper. At least I got it to a point where it doesn't crash for me anymore, but all the shadows still render incorrectly. Any ideas would be much appreciated, from what I have read in this thread I know it's worth the effort so I don't want to give up just yet!

Are you using the latest wrapper package from the games page on flugan.net. Otherwise I suspect you'll be using the old flugan wrapper on the helixmod blog. I might be lucky but a quick test of the latest wrapper worked for me with latest drivers on Windows 10. I'm not saying it will not break as I only just created a character and played to the initial bridge. The next savepoint is quite a distance away.

I'm using the latest one on flugan.net yes. Guess I'm just unlucky, I'm downloading some older drivers to see if that will make a difference. Fingers crossed!

I've lost my saves but can you confirm that you can get to the bridge with working shadows.

I'm drawing the conclusion that shadows break before even getting on the bridge. Could you try deleteing every bin file in shadersoverride to rebuild shaders. It could also be that the shadow shaders don't get loaded as your game have different hashes for some reason. The fix itself is massive with a huge number of shaders. In my experience if shadows break the hud separation breaks as well so instead of two loading icons it becomes just one. When looking wthout glasses it can be as frustrating to se 3D break less than 2s before end of a load screen. I was really hoping the bulk of the problems were behind us. I guess it would be nice if Helifax could package up the fix he uses now as that seem stable. If nothing else I could try it in my new Windows 7 install. I'm assuming he has evil update as he mentioned not disabling anything but who knows.
