Hi All
I'm on VISTA 32 bit with the newest 1.09 driver CD and also have issues with the laser sight. It works in the nVidia 3D test application and some racing games, but in all shooters I own like HL2, L4D, UT3 or UT2004 it does not show up. I see the text overlay saying lasersight On/Off by pressing Ctrl-F12 but the lasersight itselfs is not shown at all in this games. I though notice some performance drop and stuttering when the lasersight is supposed to be on.

Can someone confirm that the laser sight is working for him with HL2, L4D, UT3 or UT2004 on VISTA 32bit?
Still after a complete reinstall of the the 1.09 driver (and registry cleanup) it does not work for this games.
Just one idea: May the problem be related to the driver localization, I'm using a German Vista version.
I had turned off the ingame crosshairs for this games, because I thought it would be replaced by the nVidia lasersight like it was in the old school 3D drivers. I was living in the past.
Now I realized that the ingame crosshairs are actually modified by the 3d driver to show up at the depth of the object it is aiming to, if lasersight is turned on. If off, the ingame crosshairs show up at screen detph and are not really useful.
Maybe this info helps someone who had also a wrong idea of how the lasersight works in the new driver.

As a basic rule, our in-game settings tell you when you should use NVIDIA's crosshair/lasersight if we cannot fix the built-in game crosshair. For most of the games you mentioned, we can fix it which is why it doesnt appear in the in-game compatbility settings message (CTRL-ALT-Insert).

I still cant get the ingame crosshair to work with the 3d vision.. I always see double crosshair and the bullets hit in the middle of them.. I've used both the laser sight with Ctrl-F12 and without it without any luck.. I've looked in settings to try to turn off original crosshair to get it to work.. Can somebody assist me on getting counter strike source crosshair to work with 3d vision. I've also had the same problem in BF1942 and sniper rifles in COD 4.. It makes the games unplayable not being able to aim in game...

Is NVIDIA working on this problem?
Will there be a new driver?
I really would like to use the 3D function in Counterstrike, but without a correct crosshair...
System Information: Intel Q6600, 945P Chipset, Windows Vista 32Bit, 8800GT, Driver 186.18
