Far Cry 4 {3D Screenshots}

@ chtiblue. Thank for the pics. It looks pretty nice and sharp. Is it real 3D or CM as it looks a bit flat. But might be the picture mode as I recognized already on other pics. Just tested Farcry 3 the other day. Wow, this game was incredible in 3D. :D

FC3 in real 3D is one of the most impressive experiences I ever had in 3D Vision. In comparison FC4 in CM will probably look flat and worse than its predecessor. I am also waiting for a fix, if there is none than I will grab it for cheap in a sale someday just for a look.

Far Cry 3 using AC Unity profile CM looks good and is very playable and it sure beats playing in 2D.

I *might* take a shot at fixing it, but no promises. I'm on a 680m, so not exactly the most powerful GPU for 3D and as a shooter I need a decent FPS and if that means turning off 3D or using CM that's what I'll do. Still, I would love to play this in real 3D, so I'll take a bit of a look this weekend once I've downloaded it.

Those who have played it, what's the gameplay like? Does it still feel like a follow-the-dots Assassins' Creed game, like FC3 did (eg. HUD plastered everywhere, radio towers with crappy parkour, too many easy options like shooting a tiger cage and letting the tiger do all the work, idiotic story, millions of collectibles that require zero skill to find, etc.)? Or is it a little more like FC2? I really loved FC2, and the gameplay felt a bit more organic and emergent to me. And the fire was both more useful and dangerous (and pretty) than in FC3. Overall, FC2 felt more atmospheric to me, and I'd buy another game like that in a heartbeat. But if FC4 is just more of FC3, I'll probably skip it.

This is unrelated to Far Cry 4, but I can confirm the above.

Can follow the main story and do alot of side missions in the process. Two perk trees to choose from. Cut scenes with main antoganist are brilliant and overal dialogues are very well done.

Compatibility Mode is good enough for now. Looks way better then that from Crysis 3 (after tweaks). Sli sucks big time - yes after switching to FC3 settings. Visuals are amazing ! Cartoonish style mixed with very realistic effects (lightning and particalls are top quality) something like Eathan Carter`s style. If you did like FC3 then you will be surprised how much fun you can add to this franhise.

:) Yeah a lot of fun with elephants riding, gyro copter, crazy mission in Himalaya... Thanks to nvidia exclusive: Godrays, fur simulation, TAX2 or x4 (indispensable for sharpness), DSR x1.5... It would be just awesome in 3Dvision !

Far Cry 3 still ranks as one of my top 3D games so I won't be able to enjoy FC4 in CM even if it performs decently in CM. FC4 performing well in CM could even add to the craving for a real stereoscopic experience because with FC4 performing well in CM you may ask yourself how glorious this would be in native 3D..... So I will instantly buy and enjoy this game as soon as there is a fix but I won't even touch it until the afore mentioned does apply!

I too hope Helifax or Mike_ar69 will take a look at FC4 soon. Since FC3 was fixed for native 3D Vision, and FC4 using the very same engine, I really hope it shouldn't take weeks for 3D Vision Gods to fix it... :) Thanks in advance, guys! :) BTW, you could take donations in form of games, which require 3D Vision fix. There are so many of us, dedicated 3D Vision users, who are craving for being able to play recent AAA titles in native 3D Vision. It would be SOOO easy to gather required money just to buy these games for you! ;) Please, think about it. I would be first to contribute! Just $1-2, just ~50 of us, and here you go - brand new shiny game in your collection! :)

Seregin, Mike has already responded to a request for a fix by saying he doesn't have the game right now, and might take a look at it in a few months. Also, he (and many other fixers) have said they're not interested in financial or game donations.
