Vireio will add shader tweaking ala Helix for VR
Very interesting video about the new Vireio driver for the Oculus Rift, showing how you can tweak shaders and everything in real time, much like Helix patch for 3d vision, well worth a look imho. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SRbQ5-Awers

I can't see the video right now, but is good news!! because right now they start support Oculus Rift with their driver...extend that support for Side By Side Output (Monitor, Projector or 3DTV) is easy (it's not supported already)...we will have another Tridef driver. Tridef with the "3D Matrix Detection & Rules" feature in profiles also can tweak shaders (massively) in real time. Nvidia wake up!!! ......."shrimp that falls asleep is carried away by the current"

As DHR says, "Nvidia wake up!!!" Your NVIDIA forum has already turned into a TRIDEF forum!!!

I'm not a Helixmod fixer yet and know nothing about it either, so forgive my ignorance, but if this was the same or similar method, and open source, would it be possible to make use of its shader db in Helixmod flow, of course with some massage, for the good of 3D Vision games? Regarding Nvidia, I'm afraid that it's us 3D gamers need to wake up and heed the writing on the wall. Nvidia is a business entity and will do or not do something purely for profit. Likely its 3D Vision business plan has not panned out and it is bailing. I used to fear that happen, but looking to future of 3D it's so promising with the Oculus Rift and the VorpX 3D driver for it, I feel we need only to have 3D Vision to tide us over for a little while longer until better products take over. EDIT: forgot to mention Tridef 3D driver for Oculus.
