Hello,
I come on this forum because I currently facing a big problem with my screen ASUS VG278HE. Since the purchase of this screen, I have always noticed that the displayed image was not sharp and that a blur was present on all the screen. This blur is very visible when very small characters are displayed. In comparaision of my TV 32 ", the difference is obvious. The pictures were taken with the same camera.

The consequence is that by far, the text is fuzzy.
I have therefore tried everything: change cables (DVI, HDMI), change the screen settings (contrast, brightness, sharpness when available ...) and unfortunately the picture is still slightly blurred. Cleartype does not change anything and I chose well 1920x1080 in the control panel.
Even on my PS3, the characters are fuzzy…. In 3D, I have the same symptoms and I can not change anything except the contrast and LightBoost.
I could see that a subject was on ASUS VG278 and problems concerning the quality of the slab had been found.

Is this subject deals with the same problem as me?
This brings me to my question: is this behavior is normal? Or is this a defect related to my screen? I was able to test the Acer XB270H and in 2D or 3D, image was very clear, without blur. But unfortunately the screen was more prone to ghosting.
I am quite disappointed by the screen because I feel I have a poor quality screen while it is still quite expensive at present.
What can I do? Email for customer service? Contact ASUS? Do other manipulations which I did forget?
I love 3D Vison but the low display quality of the screen does not allow me to fully appreciate it.
Thank you in advance for the answers :)

No, that is not normal. I have the same screen and it's crystal clear in 2d and 3d. (other than the pixel inversion issue in 3d, which is minimal most of the time.)
I'd say try to get a replacement. :/

It looks like the Asus is oversaturated.
Try adjusting/lowering some of the settings or changing the mode.

Hello,
First of all thank you for all the answers. I knew the articles but that allowed me of the relires. And indeed, on TFT Central site, a part is dedicated to the clearness of the screen. The photo posted on the site is much like what I have on my screen. There is a very slight blur all around the text, hardly perceptible. On the site, they say that the image is clear in full hd.

The two pictures are very similar, and unfortunately, I think this blur is directly related to the design of the screen and therefore I'll have me do.
I all the same sent an e-mail to ASUS, I expect their answers.
