Disagree.
Bioshock 2 is very good in 3D much better than 2D. Reticle is 3D.
Better with dynamic shadows off. Some minor distractions due to frustum clipping, you can try using frustum adjustment 3DVision hotkey but for my system I get significant framerate hit.
Have not tried AvP.

Yeah, Bioshock 2 works good now. Not perfect, but good. Dynamic Shadows off of course. I turn real time reflections off too because I get weird neon colors in them. After changing these settings the only problem I see is halos around objects in rooms that are foggy.
Wow, Bioshock 2 still isn't working up to the standards of being "3d ready". I just have to wonder what the hell they were thinking.
No, it definitely isn’t worth of being called a “3D ready†title, but it is okay now. When I think 3D ready I think of BatmanAA, RE5, Metro 2033. I think flawless.
I honestly don’t expect them (2k is responsible for the remaining fixes needed) to follow through and make it “3D Ready†at this point. With the profile available now when you launch the game the profile popup lists the game as simply “Good.†I think that is an indirect indication that it will probably remain this way. Had the popup said “3D Ready†then I would have held on a bit longer to see if more fixes follow. As it is now I went ahead and started playing.

ive been playing avp and its not perfect but it does run with out a hack. marine campaign works pretty good in 3d- predator is not so good- and ive not had a chance to play the alien campaign yet.
i would have to agree with other posters on bioshock 2- its not 3d ready but does play well now- better than the original in 3d on my system.

We provided a 3D Vison-Ready rating of BioShock 2 because we had added it to the driver with the expectation of a new patch from 2k games. We are still waiting on that.
Aliens vs. Predator 3 is unfortunately still in the developer's hands to fix the issues in the game for us.

Yeah, I am having a great time in Bioshock 2 in 3D now … People are still sour about it though, and I can’t blame them. Originally we were all told it should not be rated “good,†not even “very good,†but “3D Ready.†(I preordered the collectors edition because of this news … I am just now starting to play it since the 197.13 drivers fixed the crosshair)
Oh, also another good one, in my opinion, to consider is Borderlands. It isn’t rated “3D Ready†I don’t think, but it works great for me in 3D. Nearly perfect. In multiplayer this is some little glitch where your teammates icons are doubled, but the icons are small, infrequent, and unobtrusive so ignoring them is effortless. Fallout 3 is also a very good fps in 3D if you havn’t tried it yet.
.:edit:.
Yeah, to go along with what Andrew said above about Bioshock 2. It is supposed to be “3D Ready†and it seems nVidia has done all they can to make it so with drivers/profiles at this point. Apparently, it is 2K that is leaving us hanging. Just wanted to add this so I am not misplacing blame or whatever.
.:edit again:.
Thinking on it more I know Epic announced recently the UE3 engine is now 3D Ready. The fixes remaining from 2K may take more than simple patch work if they are having to work the fixes in based on some kind of change Epic made to the UE3 engine to support 3D Vision better. I don’t anything really these are just random thoughts.

I've been playing the new AVP with a Viewsonic 3d ready projector and it looks and plays great. when the aliens grab you and get in your face it looks amazing! what issues are others having that you say its unplayable?

I tried to give Bioshock 2 a go last night. Big improvement over what it was. Tho I had glitching occasional flicker and artifact and any volumetric effects like water haze or fog rendered wrong. Also shadows aren't done correctly.
I still felt like I was wasting the game playing it like that unfortunately...

issues more me in AVP:
for me in marine- i cant run very much depth or the cross hair is doubled making it impossible to aim. you have to set up your own custom convergence, the HUD and other screen items are not at the correct depth. the game does not look very impressive at low depth. surprisingly the shadows and other effects render properly.
For predators the much more intricate HUD really ruins the 3d playability for me. i just turn it off.
the 3d issues are major bummer considering how much potential this game has- its like being in the movie- scared me countless times.
the game is playable (especially in marine) but lacking in the 3d support.

Better with dynamic shadows off. Some minor distractions due to frustum clipping, you can try using frustum adjustment 3DVision hotkey but for my system I get significant framerate hit.

AvP, havn’t tried it yet.

As it is now I went ahead and started playing.

i would have to agree with other posters on bioshock 2- its not 3d ready but does play well now- better than the original in 3d on my system.

We provided a 3D Vison-Ready rating of BioShock 2 because we had added it to the driver with the expectation of a new patch from 2k games. We are still waiting on that.
Aliens vs. Predator 3 is unfortunately still in the developer's hands to fix the issues in the game for us.

Fallout 3 is also a very good fps in 3D if you havn’t tried it yet.

the game is playable (especially in marine) but lacking in the 3d support.
issues more me in AVP:
for me in marine- i cant run very much depth or the cross hair is doubled making it impossible to aim. you have to set up your own custom convergence, the HUD and other screen items are not at the correct depth. the game does not look very impressive at low depth. surprisingly the shadows and other effects render properly.
For predators the much more intricate HUD really ruins the 3d playability for me. i just turn it off.
the 3d issues are major bummer considering how much potential this game has- its like being in the movie- scared me countless times.

Panasonic VT25 (nice 2d but I returned it due to cross talk)
Acer H5360 720p on 130" screen (the best 3d)
23" Acer LCD monitor (horrible cross talk- sold it)
Samsung 65D8000
I still felt like I was wasting the game playing it like that unfortunately...
I got rid of the artifacts by disabling sli. I still get 60fps too. But yeah volumetric effects and shadows are still messed.
