Ghosting in games
Hey guys I posted a few days ago. Thought I had my troubles solved by reinstalling all the drivers but I guess not. It all worked great until I restarted my PC last night and the problems came right back. Using an ASUS VG236H monitor and the 3d vision 1 kit. Every time I launch a game I am seeing both the left and right images in both eyes. The glasses darken so I know they are shuttering but they are not synced to the game refresh rate. Sometimes if I alt+tab and then go back into the game it fixes the issue, but not always. Its starting to get pretty annoying. The 3d vision test in the control panel works, as do my 3d movies but Diablo 3, SC2, Dota2, Skyrim, basically every game I own seems to not all sync up right.

I'm using the newest drivers on a 560Ti-448 with an i5-750 at 3.6ghz so I know my PC can easily keep up.

Any ideas to make sure the games are synced correctly?

It could be IR interference. Try turning off other appliances in the room (including lights/lamps).

That was my first thought. There isn't even a TV in this room though. I have found that at least in the blizzard games and in Skyrim a quick alt+tab almost always fixes it, however in Dota 2 the game runs in the background and it doesn't seem to refresh the same when I enter the game again. Happens in sunlight, at night with lamps on, or with all the lamps off. Doesn't matter. Forgot to mention I have a 2nd LCD that only runs at 60hz. Could that somehow interfere? I turned it off just incase but it didn't help.

A second monitor can confuse some 3D Vision stuff but, when it does, it COMPLETELY confuses it. As in "stops working."

I normally point to the glasses being charged up but, if it's getting fixed by alt-tab'ing out and back in to games then that's not it.

I take it simply toggling 3D off and back on again doesn't work?

Could something be going on with the verticle sync in these games? The new drivers have that adaptive synchronization thing, perhaps that's messing with your setup?

I am also having this problem, its not spuratic like yours, its all the time. I can see both the left and the right image while looking through the glasses. Its 3d and the screen looks nice, but I can see almost like double vision, its terrible on building cornors, the white sky next to them shows the corner of the building that I shoulndt be able to see cause its already there in the combined image. Its like my glasses arnt blocking the image Im not suppose to see with the other eye or something, I can figure it out. I hooked my PC up to my 3d tv and its not there. (however the tv and glasses are differnt for each setup TV=mitsubishi tv and glasses, and Monitor=Asus 27VG and nVidia 3d Vision 2 glasses. Anyone have any clue as to why I am getting the image of the left and right as well as the 3d image? Like if I look at a telephone pole in LA Noire, I can see the 3d pole nice and clear, but to the left and right of the 3d image is the 2 ghostly looking images that are just noticalbe enough to be annoying. and input would go greatly appreciated,

Thanks
