Minecraft WIndows 10 Edition
Since upgrading to Windows 10, I cannot run minecraft using Helifax's wrapper, I am not sure why. So I thought I would try Minecraft Windows 10 Beta Edition (free if you already own Minecraft). Originally this was a no go as it would only run in a window, but a recent patch has proper full screen. It took a lot of experimentation but I managed to get it working as follows: 1. Import the profile Helifax created for Divinity Original Sin Extended Edition 2. Add the minecraft executbale located here: C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_0.131.0.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\Minecraft.Win10.DX11.exe 3. You will need to ensure that hidden folders are visible to see "WindowsApps" 4. Start Minecraft for Windows 10 5. The screen will be all green, with just music playing 6. Alt-Tab out 7. Turn off stereo in Nvidia Control Panel 8. Alt-tab back into the game 9. It should be in 3D 10. It will probably be in CM mode the first time so press ctrl-alt-F11 to get proper 3D This Windows 10 version is a port of the Pocket Edition, and is written in C++/DX11, so runs really smoothly, BUT does not have any of the mods available for the normal Minecraft, and in particular there are no texture packs, and no fancy shaders so it's pure vanilla Minecraft. The 3D is perfect though.
