Hey Guys,
Just a heads up for those that may be interested in the Tomb Raider series of games which work great in 3D. I have included some additional notes for Tomb Raider - Legend which has major issues with the in game menu overlays. The in game menu overlay would split a part if any depth or convergence adjustments. This problem does not exist with Tomb Raider - Anniversary, therefore, I decided to use Nvidia Inspector and delete the Tomb Raider - Legend (trl.exe) and add it to Tomb Raider - Anniversary (tra.exe) and lo and behold, no more overlay splitting! You can adjust all these games with preferred convergence and depth adjustments. Also, the "Next Generation" option has to be turned off in the Legend options. I tried the fix on the helixblog site for Tomb Raider - Legend that is post there, but this did not work for me and with Next Generation enabled, the game is simply busted. I also disable depth of field for these titles since I personally don't like any DOF. I am also using flawless widescreen (optional) and this triology is great on modern hardware, runs silky smooth in 3D!
http://www.flawlesswidescreen.org/
The pricing is available for another 18 hours or so.
Tomb Raider - Legend : $1.74 USD
Tomb Raider - Anniversary : $2.49 USD
Tomb Raider - Underworld: $2.24 USD
All for $6.50, it is a steal for the amount of content.

Hope this helps anyone interested...
Cheers,

Interesting thing is, if you apply the TR: Underworld profile, the UI text doesn't split, just the background.
Messing around with Legend, I found that Setting ID_0x7050e011 = 0x0ad0eed9 InternalSettingFlag=V0 and Setting ID_0x709a1ddf = 0x4b1cd96b InternalSettingFlag=V0 were the responsible flags from the Anniversary profile to stop the UI from splitting. Either by itself would not do anything.
If I just added them to the existing Legend profile, it wouldn't work, something was stopping it.
If I deleted everything from the Legend profile, excluding Setting ID_0x701eb457 = 0x2241ab21 InternalSettingFlag=V0 (which is needed, if you remove it, the profile defaults to generic) and added the 2 flags from Anniversary, the UI would not split.
Setting ID_0x7050e011 = 0x0ad0eed9 InternalSettingFlag=V0 // is exclusive to TR: Anniversary
Setting ID_0x709a1ddf = 0x4b1cd96b InternalSettingFlag=V0 // is found in 26 other profiles
Setting ID_0x701eb457 = 0x2241ab21 InternalSettingFlag=V0 // is found in 2110 profiles
So the above 3 settings need to be present and there must not be any current settings in the profile to block the effect.
I did not bother to find the offending setting in the original Legend profile.

No I did not, I had no intention of playing TR Legend.
I was just trying to isolate which setting stopped the UI from splitting.
It was convenient that these two profiles are next to each other, it made it a tad easier.

Yah, the reason I was trying to isolate this, is because if I added The Walking Dead Survival Instinct to the Tomb Raider Anniversay profile, the rifle would become 2D and I could the adjust the convergence for the environment without having the rifle splitting to both sides of the screen.
The problem is that using the TR:A profile, results in the first ten feet in front of the player staying in 2D and everything further back adjusting to ctrl+F5/F6.
So I thought if I isolated the setting(s), I could just add it/them to the existing profile. The problem is, I get the same results. The first 10 feet of the surrounding environment stays 2D.
lol, it was worth a try. Perhaps it might prove useful in another game.
BTW, I bought the game on sale for $10. Activision is seriously gouging gamers with the current price, especially since it's not that great compared to what it could have been if done right.

But a nice try, I will ad it to my Collection of "3D nice to knows"

That's the StereoCutoff Setting, last time I checked it couldn't be added with NVIDIA Inspector, because NI doesn't add the InternalSetting flag it needs to work... I poked around a bit after Kingping1 mentioned the TR:A Profile in the dgVoodoo/Old DX7 and Below Games thread.

The Walking Dead Survival Instinct was a good test subject because he is standing in a ditch with a rifle.
Please note that the convergence was over exaggerated in the following pictures to highlight where the images begin to split and is not an indication of results that might be achieved when properly adjusted.

So you can clearly see that in some cases there can be adverse affects to using a profile from another game.
So in some games Tomb raider anniversary works great to keep the UI from splitting.
In Blade and Soul, it worked, but not so well.
You can see that it is clearly not an option in The Walking Dead Survival Instinct.
Yet, while the Tomb Raider Anniversary profile keeps everything 2D for the first 10ft in TWD: SI, the same behavior might not be seen in another game when trying the profile.

The other two Settings are the MysteryStereoSetting and the StereoCutoffDepthNear flags... I have an AHK Script I made to add Comments to each of the lines of the NVIDIA Profiles.txt like so:
...and another to find Matching Profiles/Values for Settings, like so: :)
[MonitorSizeOverride][Global/Base Profile Tweaks][Depth=IPD]
Edit: thanks Blacksmith56

The Walking Dead Survival Instinct was a good test subject because he is standing in a ditch with a rifle.
Please note that the convergence was over exaggerated in the following pictures to highlight where the images begin to split and is not an indication of results that might be achieved when properly adjusted. These pics are also only taken at 35%
You can see that the eyepiece lens in this one remains 2D (Dolphin Emulator)
In this one it remains 2D until it reaches the first mounting point of the scope (Age of Conan)
In this one, it's 2D until about the midway point of the rifle (Mini Golf Adventure)
3D begins at the start of the rifle barrel (Street Fighter IV)
3D begins about 10 ft away from character (Tomb Raider Anniversary)
3D begins about 30 ft from character (Major League Baseball 2K9)
So in some games Tomb raider anniversary works great to keep the UI from splitting.
In Blade and Soul, it worked, but not so well.
You can see that it is clearly not an option in The Walking Dead Survival Instinct.
Yet, while the Tomb Raider Anniversary profile keeps everything 2D for the first 10ft in TWD: SI, the same behavior might not be seen in another game when trying the profile.
