I love love love it! I also bought an Acer H5360 DLP projector and I am in gaming heaven! Although Dead space 2 is "Not reccomended" and has some graphical issues, I played it in 3d anyway, more often than not I found the graphic anomalies to add to the atmosphere rather than detract. Recommend it to anyone!

Be sure to look for user tips in these forums about workarounds in you might be able to apply to get better 3D results for a game you are playing.
Have a look at this thread http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=222386
Also an Optoma 3D-XL or Viewsonic VP3D1 3D converter will allow you to view over/under and side/side with that projector. You'd need DLP Link glasses with them though. They will allow you to connect a PS3 or Xbox for 3D gaming as well as a Standalone 3D Blu-ray player.
There are a few other 3D converters as well, such as the VIP Theater and 3D Fury.

Yeah. People who never played games in 3D dont know what they are missing.
Alice: madness returns and Mirror's Edge are very fun jumping games in 3D.
not all games render properly in 3D. If you carefully adjust convergence and depth (and perhaps also turn off shadows), most games will be playable in 3D (example: Dead space 2 and mirror's edge).

It is indeed fantastic, the results were so much better than I had anticipated. I expected a somewhat shoddy result.
Now, all I can say is Wow. I find myself just staring at the screen and looking around at the effects often. I had no idea the new aspect that it would add to gaming. With the addition of the projector, it is like it has created a 10 foot wide portal in my wall to an alternate Universe. GaaGaa lol
Thank you for the replies and the info!
Andy; I know what you mean, I wouldn't have believed it had I not bought the gear lol.
D-Man, Thank you!!! I am actually visiting right now (projector and laptop in tow) and was going to try to hook up my cousins PS3. I have read very briefly about the DLP link glasses and even stopped by future shop to try and find them but they were trying to tell me that they didn't exist. I tried to tell the FS guy that I had read about them but he wasn't having any of it. Anyway, I will find some and give it a shot. How do you find the DLP link quality compared to 3d vision? My laptop also has a built in Blu-Ray player, however the software that came with it (Cine something) seems to be broken. I was looking at xillsoft Blu ray software as an option. Any recommendations? Thank you again!!! :)
Partol; Thank you as well! I have the depth maxxed out and I have read about this 'convergence' setting, but I see no setting called convergence anywhere. Would you please tell me where I can find that? Thanks again.
Fantastic, thank you all. I want to work for Nvidia and create an aggressive marketing campaign to get people in the know about this advancement! I hadn't even heard of Nvidia 3d vision until I bought a laptop with the 3D TV Play sticker on it. Market saturation, it will entice Nvidia to put more money into it :)

Dead Space 2 looks amazing in 3D despite of its bad rating profile from Nvidia. It's one of my favorite 3D games, and balancing convergence with depth you can't get a perfect crispy 3D effect, you just have to turn off shadows, the rest are minor anomalies that don't bother at all. I would never play Dead Space 2 in 2D after I've seen how it looks in 3D. Truly amazing!!!!!
On the other hand Nvidia rates Call of Duty MW3 as Good when the most important thing in the game, the crosshair doesn't work in 3D and can't be disabled, so you could just use the Nvidia laser sight instead, but you can't get rid of the annoying 2D crosshair, but Nvidia says the game is very playable in 3D rating it GOOD for 3D Vision. Go figure?????
And yes, 3D Vision is awesome and was the best thing in computer gaming since I remember playing my 1st PC games many years ago. Greatest improvement ever!!!!!
To enable convergence, go to the Nvidia Control Panel/Stereoscopic 3D/ click on set keyboard shortcuts and check the box (enable advanced in-game settings:) If I were you I would choose numpad 8 to increase convergence and numpad2 to decrease convergence, instead of Ctrl+F7 or Ctrl+F6, much easier to use just one button instead of 2 I think.
Try this out and you'll love even more your 3D Vision kit, you haven't seen the best 3D effect yet, convergence (the pop out effects)...

Yup, as everyone has already said it's good to have you.
I always chuckle when I mention my kit somewhere and some dumbass pipes up with "Blah, 3D is just a fad mumble mumble"... I always insist that they then either poke out an eye our invest in an eye patch, because proper 3D like this is the way it should be, and looking at games in 2D now looks just plain bad - lacking detail, no immersion, and no imagination. This tech makes everything new again, and I envy your projector - I almost went that route but I don't have the space & light control for it to be worth it. I'm still stoked with the 27" Asus and the recent Lightboost tech.
I wish I could've seen your face when you first tried messing with convergence!!
