I own it. Is anyone getting over 30FPS. I seem to hover around 20 no matter what I change. I have a quad 2.4, gtx470, 4g ram, at 1900x1080
Your Talking about the demo right in 3d? I get about 34 FPS average (everything, explosions etc...) with my GTX 480!
Without 3d I average FPS of 67 with all settings cranked up with my GTX 480
You might be CPU bottlenecked if your quad core is only at 2.4... I would Overclock that, if you can!

You couldn't have played that game in 3d and said it was lame, no way....

This is one of my top games right now....the only problem I got is keeping up with the story as it is just too much fun to hang around and explore and forget you are supposed to be doing something lol
Oh and it runs VERY smooth with my 480...it is not a light game for system resources but the 480 handles it without issues...now if you were to say Metro 2033...that is a system killer for sure. /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' />

I play it on the system in my signature. I cap the FPS at 35 in 3D and use D3DOverrider for D3D triple buffering and it helps with the FPS dipping drastically (somewhat). I usually maintain no less than 25 and it stays at 35 during most of the gameplay. Anything over 30 is really overkill in this type of game.

What you can do is disable the Motion blur (that seems to help a lot) and also set the shadow quality to medium (or low), but you can try turn on Hi-res shadow. If you like the NVidia's stuff, you can try turn on the CUDA water effect (that makes the water looks REALLY REALLY good instead of syrup-y like the normal water) and the bokeh filter off (didnt see much difference). Specular lighting can be turned on without much performance hit.
Lastly, I would suggest turning AA all the way OFF. I prefer 3D over AA, honestly. When playing without 3D, I guess you can turn it on. I ran it fine with GTX 470 and 1920x1080, but I oc-ed both of my cpu and video card, so that might help.

Just tried out the demo and I went into the game with whatever default settings the game came with. It looks goddamn awesome in 3D, but I got a lot of ghosting around the character. Not sure if this is normal or if some setting can change that (was running with 4xAA).
My screen is the alienware one.
And I must say I thought the game was awesome right up to the point where I tried to do a stunt while flying a plane, and my PSU popped.
I guess 400W is not enough for a GTX285 card when it's getting really pushed.

Definately stress my GTX 260 Black Editions in SLI with everything maxed and on, @ 1920 x 1080.
Does seem to lag when there is alot of vegetation around.
A MUST PLAY FOR 3D VISION OWNERS!!!!!!!!!
