Hey Guys,
ED Just released DCS World 1.5 in open beta which supports dx11. but the problem is I can not get 3D vision working.. I seen the dx11 compatibility mode but I do not have a profile for the open beta and the black shark profile needs to be deleted to get regular DCS World to work..
What can I do to get this fixed?? the good thing is that the game is free and comes with 2 planes off the bat Su-25T and P-51.. so if anybody wants to hep can DL the game for free..

Where is the dx11 compatibility mode? I tried this and in win7 nothing happens when I alt-tab. When I tried it in win10 3d vision enabled and if it didn't lock up the machine then there was ZERO 3d effect even though 3d was clearly enabled by the green light on the USB emitter.

Compatibility Mode needs to be enabled on a per-game basis, via the Profiles, here's a guide on how to do it. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/791450/3d-vision/guide-how-to-enable-and-tweak-3d-compatibility-mode-in-any-dx11-game/
yes I seen the guide bit can not use this method.. I got it working it seems the 1,5 beta does not run Full screen even if you selected it in the options.. you have to LALT + Enter to put the game in fullscreen when in the 3D world..

Yeah I did that and it worked in windows 10 but half the time locked up my machine and even when the 3D emitter turned on there was no 3D effect. My guess is that the profile is borked. In windows 7 alt-enter does nothing for 3D at all. The emitter doesn't turn on in win7 period. I messed around with NI to generate a new profile for DCS but without success. Just flashing or some other manner of problem so nvidia needs to work out a 3D profile for DCS 1.5 would be my guess. Good luck on that happening any time soon...

Absolutely HORRID performance in DCS 1.5 in 3D. Getting 99% GPU usage in SLI but performance is terrible at 15fps and very jerky. Solid 30-40 fps in DCS 1.2 in 3D surround. Bummer...

Well I'm in 3d surround. It's the only game I have that hits fps like that in 3DVS. I get a solid 80fps in regular surround and then in 3d surround it falls to 15fps and very jerky with extremely high gpu usage. I'm going to do some testing later with lower surround rez settings and lower visual settings to see if I can get it smooth. It should not be hitting frame rate that hard though I agree. It does it in win10 and win7 though so it seems to be a problem with the game itself or the nvidia 3d profile at least.

have a look on http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2522807&postcount=24 and http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=109341&page=9 because there are some bugs in 3dvision for HUD and horizon that are fixed by a 3dmigoto mod (in beta status too).
