Hah, what about all the security vulnerabilities discovered for CPUs since Spectre was first found. Perhaps it's just deception to push us into updating hardware :P

Link without so many advertisements: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4797#security-updates "All R430 versions prior to 430.64" So not-R430 versions are fine?

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.

If this list is accurate, then it looks like Geforce cards on the latest 3D Vision driver are safe. It seems to only list Quadro, Nvs and Tesla cards as vulnerable on the 425 drivers.

Well Nvidia did say that they were going to implement security patches until next January for 418.XX. Perhaps someone should contact support and inquire specifically how this was going to be implemented. Hot Fix Manual Download? Automated Patch Push? Will they be just for 418,XX or will 425.XX drivers get some love? They are part of the same branch. "The NVIDIA support team will continue to address critical driver issues for 3D Vision in Release 418 through April, 2020. Those looking to utilize 3D Vision can remain on a Release 418 driver." https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4781
