Possible Fallout 3 3d vision fixes for sky and water.
My water settings are the same as yours. i guess the reflections are not apparent in this water body. I have drawn around the anomalies it is hard to see when the image is still. If it is just me getting the shimmer thingy, I wouldnt worry about it. Appart from the shimmer the water looks good. The sky looks good as well.

Do you have a save game I could use near Rivet City or something? My game is very early on.

ps How do I unattach my attachments?
I've noticed that I really don't get reflections from smaller bodies of water in the wasteland. It has nothing to do with the settings either. It might have something to do with point lookout, are you using that dlc? I heard it can cause issues with the water.

I'm glad to hear that the sky is working.

I'm glad to hear that the sky is working.

Thanks for the feedback. I linked your video on the mod page. Let me know if that isn't cool.

I noticed that also, I think its an engine specific thing; oblivion sometimes had moments where reflections would suddenly "pop", and change/update somehow, I thought it may just be that going on... Loving the 2nd play through, much easier this time, apart from Pt Lookout... which is bloody tough at 14 lvl. Stealth boys, Nuka-grenades and bottle-cap mines are my saving grace :D

Sky Beta 2 is good, the game is threshold 3d ready with these improvements; There are no graphics options to turn off apart from the crosshair!

point of interest; (this is not related to the sky fix as it happens regardless of having it applied) but; have any of you ever noticed the strange subtle pulsing brightness of that often becomes noticeable in outside areas? It's almost akin to the dimming that brief cloud cover might provide, but happening on a fast scale...

Also; Have any of you noticed the swirling/ghosting/patterns that happen in the sky? Sort of looks like petrol in a puddle of water, but mostly pink in colour.... Its not related to the sky fix, It's always been there, I wondered if it might simply be ghosting from the samsung 2233rz....?

Yeah, it seems to be independent of my settings or fixes.

It is well more of a 3d ready game than Bioshock 2. /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' /> Even Dark Void had to have the dynamic shadows disabled.

Yeah, that happens sometimes, I just figured it was some lighting quirk or even done on purpose. I kind of liked the effect so it never bugged me.

Indeed, that is just ghosting. When you look at the same sky through darkening filter using the helmet mod, the ghosting goes away.

Phew! Nor I. What were nVidia and 2K thinking?

Fallout 3, even before the sky and water fix, looked great in S3D. Along with GTA4, N4S Shift and Assasin's Creed, Fallout 3 is part of the illustrious quadruplet that I use to show off my 3D Vision to S3D first timers. Each of these games have arguably been considered imperfect at rendering S3D; yet they all provide a wonderful 3D experience.

Sadly, the same can defo not be said with, '3D Ready' Bioshock 2!

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Yeah, I think the confusion lies in us not realising we needed to make the mesh\ect\ directories and set it to override old files ... we were looking for the folders to already be there and files to replace
