Mine were plugged in over night "charging"
Orange light was still on in the morning.

Not trying to start anything just saying
what happened :S

EDIT: I"ve yet to read what is meant to
happen when it's fully charged haha. I'm
just assuming that what the Ninjawithagun
said isn't meant to happen.

No worries - no offense taken. I did recheck the owners manual and you are correct and I was wrong with the information I initially provided (hate it when that happens). The manual states that the charge LED will turn from a flashing orange to a steady orange light once the battery has completely charged. I got confused between the green light on top of the glasses by the on/off switch and the recharge LED. I returned the other glasses for no reason :( No worries though. Just received my replacement glasses today and they appear to function properly. Thanks to everyone for the responses. Lesson learned for me - how to read a owner's manual correctly!

I just plug them in when I'm not wearing them, I usually take cigarette breaks from my games and will recharge them then, also if I take off the glasses and stand up for any reason I plug them in, haven't had them wear out yet. Wearing them plugged in is also an option, albeit a heavy one. I also use headphones, the spring-clip sides work okay with headphones, although it might be worth it to make a headphones/3d glasses/mic combo package, possibly even with a built in face-facing/rotatable web cam as an extra costly option...

I also have a question..

My left lens flickers on and off on occasion for no reason at all, even when 3d vision is not turned on....

I've had my glasses for about a week.

It has only occured in the left eye and it flickers on/off for about 3-4 times before going back off... No reason for it that I can tell.. I wasn't even using it to view 3d content.

Am I screwed???

BTW, I wish these glasses came in different styles... I wear glasses so they are farther from my face when I wear them.. I wish they had much larger lenses so that it covered my entire viewing.. Kind of like the sunglasses worn by cops and truckers back in the 80's -90's... If you know what I'm talking about.

They wouldn't look as cool, but it would have helped sense I can't wear the 3d glasses close to my eyes because of my prescription glasses.

Ok. It just did it again... I was wearing the glasses... Not using them.. Just wearing them for no reason... :)

The left eye turned on and off 5 times before stopping... I haven't tested to see if there is a specific time gap between these malfuctions.....

Anyone have any idea what's going on?

They do this if they lose sight of the emitter.
That includes if the glasses are on but not active. I.e. If you've pushed the on button on the glasses, but the game isn't running in 3d.
There is a pretty big window several minutes, after the glasses lose sight of the emitter before they turn off.

Larger lenses would up the price a fair bit.
I'm guessing they are working on curved lens. Since you would need that
before you would want to larger ones.

That's weird because it does it when I am still sitting in front of my monitor and not turned on.... Hopefully it won't do it when I am in the middle of a heated game though.

Just return them for a new pair. Where did you buy them? I know that Amazon has a hassle free friendly return policy that includes advanced shipping (they ship the replacement before getting back the defective product) with a 30-day window to return the defective merchandise.

Sure. Why not? He can return them. And get a new pair of glasses .... with the same condition.
My 3D glasses do the same thing. "Newer" glasses wont help.

It hasn't affected gameplay yet... So I'm not worried... Yet.. If it does it when I'm in the middle of a firefight or something, then I'll be MAD...

I bought them online from tigerdirect...

It is a pain to return anything online... I usually just suck it up if I get something that doesn't work.. I don't like going through the hassle.. But other than the random black flashes on occasion, they still seem to work ok.

BTW, a real ninja doesn't need a gun.

I bought my nVidia kit about 3 - 4 weeks ago and I've not needed to charge my glasses yet and I play a good 3-4 hours a week at the moment.

+1 I charge mine once every few weeks.

Let me explain our light codes since it did change.

The glasses we sold in 2009 had the following battery light codes:

- Solid amber when charging
- Off when charged

In 2010 we changed our light codes to be:
