From the official FAQ What other games inspired us? We were inspired visually by games such as Mass Effect and Mirror’s Edge, in their portrayal of clean, believable environments with punches of color throughout. Thematically and game-play wise, we were inspired by Deus Ex and Bioshock in their explorations of human nature, bio-augmentation, and free-form style allowing players to choose their own style and path. What type of game is Pamela? Pamela is an open world, Sci-Fi First-Person Survival Horror game with RPG style progression. Is there permadeath? Yes, if you die in Eden, you do not come back. If you are playing in normal mode, the world will still persist, but you will become another awoken character losing augmentations and your inventory. In hardcore mode, everything will be lost, though there are special circumstances that may affect this. Is this a linear story-driven game? No. Pamela is not linear, but it will include a vast amount of lore on the setting, events, and the people who lived there. Story will be discovered through a more flexible medium that allows players to experience at their own pace, in their own order; whether through audio logs, computer terminals, NPCs or posters. Some lore will educate, and others will let you in on secrets that may give you an upper edge to survive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5-puByYCMs

Had a eye on it also because it use the same dot between each letter like S.T.A.L.K.E.R. for which I'm a fan. More seriously I like the firsts screenshots and IIRC I've sent a tweet to devs about 3D Vision support without any reply and I quit there. What do we know yet? Someone here had acces to that Alpha maybe?

Unity3D game. Busted on Arrival;) But it will work with CM :) I know DarkStarSword is a master of Unity3D when it comes to fixing Unity3D. If it has an OpenGL renderer I can also take a look;) For some reason the game does look a bit like Dead Space here and there...

The audio also seems well done on it from what I listened to, but that might be just for the trailer. I found mention of the trailer music, the only other thing mentioned was the new Audio Mixer in Unity. "Through the Otherworld Agency, the team enlisted the help of Jeff van Dyck, who worked as Audio Director on Alien: Isolation and Composer on the Total War series, to create a unique and memorable theme for the Rebirth trailer. " Q: What game engine do you use? A: Pamela is being built with Unity 5. We love the new features, especially Enlighten’s real-time GI, the new Audio Mixer, and Reflection Probes. We complement these great core features with some awesome assets from the Unity Asset Store, such as Alloy Physically Based Shading, Amplify Colour and Motion, and SE Natural Bloom. http://blog.mixamo.com/made-with-mixamo-pamela-creators-on-making-better-games-through-iteration/ I hope it's a decent game, we need more Sci-Fi Horror Survival games

This game got off to a bit of a rough start, being released as Early Access. It received a nice patch yesterday. http://steamcommunity.com/games/427880/announcements/detail/616272971478699224 Still holding off for now, but the game seems to be shaping up nicely.
