NVIDIA 3D Vision video capture Not anaglyph capture
Hello,
As well as NVIDIA supplies a mean of capturing stereo screenshots in drivers (Alt+F1), is NVIDIA considering to release a software (or add that functionality in drivers), for capturing stereoscopic video from videogames? I know that it is possible to record anaglyph video with fraps or similar, but that's not the point. And the other ways to capture use external equipment, frankly, not ideal to encourage people to capture its own videos...
I think that as NVIDIA supplies also a stereocopic video player, stereoscopic photo viewer, and hotkey to capture stereo screenshots, the only thing that is missing is to implement video capturing, as the videos could be played back in your own stereo video player.
It could be a powerful way of promoting 3D vision, developing the community and attracting more people (video-makers). It would be about publishing/exchanging videos not of what you do/play, if not of what you do in 3D. ;)
There is a big community of "video makers" out there for a lot of games/sims. Nvidia could take the advantage on that if they do, and I think they have access to what is needed to be done.

This is one I am also hoping for, I make machinimas and would love to do some in S3D. I am currently working on a series/movie and have put it on hold until I can get some equipment for recording in S3d. Not to mention there is some great machinima made by people who play games as well.
One of the tools I use is The Movies {game} and stunts and effects {The expansion} The stereoscopic effects are great in it and can even get decent pop outs, but for now it will only record things in 2d environment. But if you watch it in game it is amazing and in S3D. So will be working on a good hd video capture card to grab and edit it. Will post results when I get one... probably 2 months from now.
