How to enable 3D Vision in DX11/12, Borderless Window full screen? (Windows 10)
I just upgraded to a 1070 GTX, I am able to run 3D Vision just fine but only if the game is in exclusive full screen.
Recent games tend to not have an exclusive fullscreen option unfortunately - I have Gears of War 4 and although it has a 3D Vision profile, the game never attempts to enable 3D Vision.
I've also tried to play Killer Instinct and other games that use borderless window, but 3D Vision never starts up.
I'm using an Acer HN274H 3D Vision monitor (built-in emitter), and I am not using 3DTV Play

I actually think this is a good question as it appears to be a general issue with dx11
Path of exile recently updated to a dx11 client.
The dx9 client can be run in borderless window and 3dvision kicks in.
However the dx11 version only works in exclusive fullscreen.
Is this a known issue with dx11 specifically?
Dx12 is obviously not supported.

It depends on the game and engine, refer to the specific thread to find your answer(s).
This is why a force exclusive fullscreen option was added to 3Dmigoto.
