3DTV Trial doesn't work... Now what? 3D 120hz projector Vivitek D803W-3D, GTX 670.
I have a couple of issues with getting 3D games to work with 3D Vision/3DTV. If anyone has a good link or two to share I would greatly appreciate to read if this has already been covered. I bought Sainsonic glasses with usb emitter that work with the same drivers as the Nvidia usb emitter, so when I plug it in it loads the usb Nvidia emitter driver. I bought a GTX 670. Before purchasing a projector, I didn't see anywhere stating that if the projector isn't Nvidia certified you're sol, my bad. Using the 120hz over vga does not work for 3D but does work 2D, because the projector isn't in the certified list. Great! Using the hdmi I get an option to click here for the 3DTV page but I tried the trial first to see if it would work. It doesn't do anything! I'm about to return this projector. Thank you in advance to any recommendations.

3Rd party USB glasses were disabled by Nvidia drivers quite awhile ago, so you'd have to use an old driver. Even an old driver might not work with them anymore. On the product page it states that your PJ is capable of 720p 50/60 Frame Packing, 1080i 50/60 Side-by-Side, 1080p24 Frame Packing . So it looks like it is HDMI 1.4 compliant. Turns out the cheap 280 dollar Galaxy GTX 670 was at fault. I sent in for an RMA and now it all works. I'm using all third party glasses and it all works fine as the glasses connect to the IR on the projector. Also using the Acer EDID override works with outputting to an actual Acer, a Vivitek, and an old Epson but it looks soso at the Epson 85Hz native. I'm now using the Vivitek 803-w 3D as it whoops the Acer with 3600 Lumens as bright as day. Thanks for your input. I'm going to try the HDMI next and see if I still have the same luck.
