I was forced to uninstall the stereo drivers sicne I was getting slow doesn to below 10fps even when i was not using 3d.

I can't seem to get this game to function correctly when enabling 3D Vision. The Main Menu doesn't load all the textures. Sure, I can hit enter to play the game but once it loads the first level, a buttload of textures are missing. /verymad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':verymad:' />
I'm running the newest drivers and i've tried reverting to a couple older drivers but that didn't help. If I try activating 3D Vision but loading the game in 2D (not activating 3D Vision), it still gives me the same issues. Any clues guys? What drivers and settings are guys using?

Yeah same here, with a GTX 470 SC (no SLI) too. Plays fine (with 3d or without) for the first 5 minutes, then the framerates just dips down to the tens, sometime single digit, making it completely unplayable.
I'm using 197.41 with the same 3D Vision driver. Setting is everything high, AA is off and AF is set to 8x. Resolution 1920x1080 and monitor is set to 120Hz.
Not very promising so far and on top of that, getting message "GTX 470 is not supported" message upon starting the game.

if you remove the stereo drivers it works better.. only gets down to the 20s

If I remove the stereo driver, then I couldnt use the S3D effect for it or any other games, could I?
Still, though, I wouldnt exactly call framerates of 20 acceptable, especially if the engine is a heavily modified Unreal 2 engine. What is wrong with the game.....

if you remove the stereo drivers you could at least play the game, it howefvers at 40fps for me with dips down to 20 in some cases... but I only have 2 GTX 285s and using an older Phenom Processor.
the other option is don't play the game now wait till Nvidia brings out a driver with support for the game then try it again.

hey, i was having the same problem with insanely low FPS randlomly. LIke, i could play through a part fine getting good 30+FPS in 2D and then maybe i would die or something and when i go to play the same part it's likw 10-20FPS. Restarting the game was the only thing that would get my FPS back up.
The solution that has worked for me is to just disable 3d vision in the nvidia control panel before launching the game. Played for 2 hours last night without and FPS drops that way.
Oh, and i'm sure its already been mentioned, but uncheck dynamic ambient occlusion if you want your FPS to nearly double.

Yah I know, sorry for the statement before since it sounded hostile to me now :">
In any case, I'll probably try just disable the Stereoscopic 3D from the NVidia Panel and disable the ambient occlusion, see if it will make it any better. Uninstalling and reinstalling the 3D Vision driver seems to much hassle for this game, at least in my opinion for now. I have Just Cause 2, BFBC2, and L4D2 that I want to play with 3D still so uninstalling the driver and install it when I want to play it is really not a good option.
Or you are right, I might as well shelve the game until a patch or new driver comes out. Any news about that?

even when I disabled the S3D I still saw Performance drops down to the single digits. Someone else in the forum pointed me to the performance minus the S3d drivers. At the moment I don't have any game that I would need to play in S3D so for me it's not much of a hassle,... I think I may have to shelf the entire gaming thing until I can better afford it anyway.
I think ubisoft is working on a patch for the game but I know it's not specific to S3D, I have no idea when Nvidia will give us a Driver update :(

I was having the same problem as msm903 with the textures not loading. I tried a bunch of stuff in the nvidia control panel, but with no luck, so I installed the 1.02 patch and still had the same problem. I then disabled 3D Vision from the nvidia control panel, and now it works fine...just not in 3D. I am running the 1.25 Full CD drivers. I am sure that this will get fixed in the next release of the stereo drivers. I wonder why nobody else has this problem?

I did also have the missing graphics issue at the menu but then realised I hadn't put it back Generic CRT due to me playing something out my Plasma as Generic DLP (checkerboard)
That fixed everything for me and thought it was isolated to me only due to incorrect setting, looks like something further is up though but mine seems to be ok.
Mind you I haven't put a lot of time into the game yet at all and am struggling getting my 360 controller to map correctly even after I followed a fix for that, but thats another story.
I think I might form some group called SOAP (Switch On And Play) :), there is always something to test ones patience hey...

Why can't all games have controls like Resident Evil 5? I have never seen a better implementation in ANY game so far. If you turn the controller on and press a button, it goes to controller mode, if you press a key on the keyboard it switches to keyboard mode. Simple, yet highly effective. Capcom knows how to make a good PC port, Ubisoft does not.

I've still yet to try out SCC in 3D - mainly because I'm the type that doesn't like to turn graphical settings down for 3D and my setup barely maxes the game in 2D. Aside from that though, it's a great game with some particular pet peeves I can't get over. Namely the lack of menu options to switch between toggle and hold aiming/crouching/sprinting/cover. What makes it worse is that they didn't stick with one setting for all of them - the cover button is hold which gets confusing (let go of cover, but you're still crouching and have to toggle it off with a separate button - very frustrating in heated situations), and the rest are toggle. I hate toggle crouching with a passion, but toggle sprinting? What game does that? /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Classic Ubisoft unpolished-feeling game, although very fun when I don't dwell on these annoyances.

If I remove the stereo driver, then I couldnt use the S3D effect for it or any other games, could I?
Still, though, I wouldnt exactly call framerates of 20 acceptable, especially if the engine is a heavily modified Unreal 2 engine. What is wrong with the game.....

Haven't played much,so I don't know if it's any improvement
I think ubisoft is working on a patch for the game but I know it's not specific to S3D, I have no idea when Nvidia will give us a Driver update :(
version 1.02 is out today...

Classic Ubisoft unpolished-feeling game, although very fun when I don't dwell on these annoyances.
