New Vegas 3d vision Sky Fix - In case anyone is interested.
Completely unrelated, but if anyone is interested in a more realistic and challenging experience where armor actually means a lot, then you might check out my mod.
Heh Its already very difficulty for me at the beginning on hardcore + very hard!! Will definitely give it a try on my next playthrough, I always tend to spec my first character according to how I myself might be in that situation. So Repair+Science+Speech. Nothing beats using a stealth-boy to place dynamite and mines into the pockets of enemies throughout an entire compound though!
Oh btw if anyone else is having that problem with the bugged Powder Ganger's doorman + named characters becoming hostile towards you when you get too close to them in disguise then try this...but only if you are a OCD gamer like myself and dont want to fail the "I fought the law" quest... teeny tiny minor spoilers
Kill the doorman after he attacks you. If people are hostile towards you, unequip and re-equip the ganger disguise, or if you want to be a goody two shoes just stealthboy past him. Go to the admin building, use a stealthboy immediately, and just go wild putting dynamite into the pockets of everyone EXCEPT Eddie since he will give you the quest. So once everyone is dead in that building except him (and you are still cloaked.. you may have to use a 2nd stealthboy) run out to a room thats vacant, unequip and re-equip the ganger armor and use the WAIT function for an hour. By now Eddie will be back at this chair. He will still become hostile to you when you get close to him. But theres a delay in his hostility, so make sure you agility is fairly high (mine was 6 or 7), put away your weapon, and charge at him and intiate a conversation before he becomes hostile and get the quest. The moment after the convo ends, run like hell since he will become hostile in a moment but he resets so dont worry.
You will have to do the running thing at him for each stage of the quest as he seems to remain constantly bugged. Oh yeah and once you go back to him a 2nd time you'll notice that all the guys in his office has respawned, but they are only the dumb dumbs that dont go hostile nor can they see through your disguise so just ignore em and charge.

Yea you can set it permanently in the .ini file and it doesn't mess with the achievements.

Sorry you mention that we need some method for archive invalidation, what do you mean?
On a side note not directly s3d related, there's a mod around http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34778 that apparently gives a huge boost to performance, check it out for anyone interested.

anyone else have problems with the crosshairs in 3D? Sometimes they're in 2D and when they are in 3D they stay a set distance apart rather then getting closer/further as you aim at objects at diff distances like most games.
and yeah bumping up FOV is a definite help. At least it stays set in this game, unlike in oblivion where it would reset every time you talk to someone and the camera zooms on them.
