Zelda BOTW. 3D fix no longer works for me
Anyone still playing BOTW with the 3D fix? After updating to Cemu 1.1.1 BOTW no longer starts anymore. Cemu goes fullscreen and just sits on the menu screen.

I use Cemu 1.10.0 and 3D fix does not work, the game starts but the picture is 2D. I also experience a decrease in performance, and I can not close the aplication without ctrl+alt+supr.

You guys probably should backup your directory before updates. That said I am using 1.10 with the 60 fps hack and it's still working fine. I would suggest a clean install if it's broken for you. You will also typically get a decrease in performance after driver updates unless you rebuild your shader cache with the nvidia driver. I havent got anything but better performance after the last couple of updates especially since they seemed to have fixed the :memory leak" with the lastest nvidia drivers

I did a clean install and still only get Cemu full screen but BOTW refuses to launch. Just stuck on the Cemu screen. Made sure to run as admin and triple checked the target and it looks fine... Also, after extracting the 3D vision fix to the Cemu folder, I can't even launch BOTW without 3D vision anymore by not using the shortcut. It looks like the 3D vision fix is breaking something, and it also stopped Wiiu USB helper from launching any WiiU games. Even after removing the 3D vision files from the Cemu directory, Cemu still doesn't work. Have to redo everything to get it to play in 2D again.. I'm probably missing something, but I have no clue what, as I've had it working before.

I never tested the fix with version 1.10. Performance is reportedly worse than previous versions, the improved audio was not worth the upgrade for me. The Cemu devs may have changed something that could affect the fix. For the fix to work properly it has to intercept the depth buffer. This normally matches the dimensions set in the .ini file, along with the proper pixel format. The pixel format should be automatically detected by the wrapper when DepthBufferInternalFormat = Auto. If this isn't picking it up try setting it to DepthBufferInternalFormat = GL_DEPTH_COMPONENT32F.

Much improved over 1.10 version. Game is so smooth with FPS++ pack.

Still works perfectly fine with me with latest update. Something else must be going on here for you guys. Only issue I get is every now and then it will lose the 3D when opening the map screen

Now it seems like it actually might be broken with the latest update. Cemu 1.12.2d hangs in 3d when compiling shaders. It will be a shame if they have broken 3dvision in cemu now cause apparently this new version gets you about 10fps increase. anyone able to get it to work? Last working version for me appears to be 1.11.3

The last version i tested successfully was 1.11.4. I got tired of BOTW fairly quickly since the gameplay mostly consists uncovering more seeds and shrines so motivation to spend any more time on this has been pretty low (Especially since i've been playing Skyrim VR and just purchased a PS4). That being said i will update the fix once Cemu has made a significant update in terms of performance. If 1.12.2d really is that much better i might take a look at it.

Hey Sgrules, thanks for the response. Yeah I hear you on that front. For what it's worth it seems to be around 1.11.6 that they made the change that's causing the crash. Regardless you might want to hold off until they release the texture cache rebuild that supposedly fixes all graphic corruption in games in the upcomming 1.13
Only issue I get is every now and then it will lose the 3D when opening the map screen
Have you tried the "Zelda: Breath of the wild" profile in nVidia Inspector? Noticed last night that the emulator was LINKed to a CEMU profile (the one Helifax helped sgsrules with?). But the other one in Inspector also works. Haven't had much time to notice a difference. (Also since I wasn't ready to delve into Hyrule) Not until about 3 months later when I showed it to a friend, did I realize how wrong I was. Thinking the convergence was locked (or that I shouldn't touch it) and only when I "dragged" the broken pixels out of neutral parallax did the brokenness disappear. This was the first game I was willing to play in 2D since I became a fan of 3D Vision years ago. You get so lost in Hyrule. Discovering places, stuff, people, weapons, recipes, monsters is super fulfilling. Aaah man the mood. The atmosphere Zelda establishes. Its like a childhood dream converging with reality. Not to over sell it to the guys who never played this on gameboy. But if you did and liked it as much as I did, you shouldn't hesitate! From my personal experience, this was the best game Nintendo developed for gameboy. Or ever haha Thanks Stephen and Helifax! PS. Yeah it's likely related the profile also locks you into 30fps which you probably want to remove at this point in the emulation. I get it happen less when I use version 1.11.3 which also has the shader cache fixes which greatly reduce stuttering.
