Switch to DLP to Plasma/LED Worth it?
I have a Samsung Hl61a750 but i really want to switch to a Plasma or Led for better contrast/picture quality

Is the frame packing that happens when using 3dtv play superior to the Dlp's checkerboard for the 3d image quality?

Also anyone have a reccomendation for a 3d plasma or led set around a thousand bucks? thanks

Here is a Sony 3D LED 2011 model for $849.00

You really don't want a plasma, they use a huge amount of energy, in fact California is in the process of banning them.

Your picture problems will be resolved by the LED.

EX720 series sucks for crosstalk. Go with DLP or, if LCD, Toshiba 800u(reviewed for low crosstalk) or Sharp's LE835 (super bright, no contrast/color loss). Or Samsungs high-end which support 3d-Vision?

-Incredible. Nvidia 3d forums started to hit the rock bottom with signal to noise ratio.

Dude, go over to http://avsforum.com

Your DLP TV has a topic there. You sohuld ask your question there.

The thing you fell for is called reverse psychology,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reverse_psychology

CB was never good or desired, other half res compressions are better, scaled 720p is better too, because CB is unstable from one frame to the next, its "guesswork"...

We are very happy with 720p projectors, FYI,

and in case you missed that, some people told Roller that CB is not up to their standards, he just kept parroting anyway.

I've tried all stereo modes and full HD checkerboard @ 60Hz is clearly the next best thing after full HD frame sequential @ 120Hz or full HD frame packing @ 60Hz, which isn't here yet.
