I can't seem to increase the convergence at all without messing things up. If I increase the convergence from default even a little bit, if I'm standing close to anything (or anything that's close to the screen generally like guns in FPSes or the actual character in 3rd person games) then I see two of them. It's as if the two image just aren't... converging.
Is there a reason that this might be? Any help would be much appreciated.

Try lowering your depth then adding convergence. After you get used to it, try to find the sweet spot for both depth and convergence.

Right, if you are a 3D Vision new user begin using 20 or 30% depth and then increase convergence slowly until you find your sweet spot. Only after 1 or 2 weeks that you get more used to the glasses than you increase depth beyond 30%. With less depth it's easier to use high convergence and see the amazing pop out effects.
If even using only 15 or 20% of depth and increasing just a bit of convergence and you still see duplicated images than you might have some source of sight disorder or something like that thta prevents you from enjoying the best from this system. I hope that's not the case. Be gentle when incresing convergence, go one step at a time until you notice things are coming out the screen without bluring.

Eh. I'm finding it hard to strike a good balance. I've managed to increase the convergence a decent amount and have about 70% depth without breaking my eyes though, so that's pretty good. Thanks for the help.
