@Torque67
Disable Motion Blur and bokeh depth of field.
Also if you are using SLI use water = MEDIUM (Thanks bo3b for the tip!!!)
Also you need to change in game option HUD = only reticle. This game have a lot of HUD elements that are related to menu/map stuff...also a lot of shaders involve. For example: the Red filter when Rico is injured is a colateral issue of the HUD, even using texture separation in the game.
@SKAUT
What are the exact hooking method you are using in the d3dx.ini?
I don't have win10 to test....but if works for you, will work for anyone...i want to add to the next WIP updates.
@bo3b
Will be possible to track down that cutoff light issue in the HLSL shader? :)
During night is a bit anoying.

I`ve changed this line to this:
;hook=recommended
and added this one:
hooking=device
Game need some time (ever time) at the beginning to load to Title screen but after that works fine as use to.
btw. Did you managed with any of Night Lights ? I remember they were pain before.

- Now lensflares and glow are fixed
@SKAUT
"hooking=device" is not a valid command. Maybe you are using "hook=device"?
Lights at night are all fixed, and now lensflares. BUT some lights (not all) have a cut-off issue. This is because the HLSL shader have some decompiler issues.

I`ll try that "hook=device" command but at the moment I got "hooking=device" as bo3b suggested and if I take that out I got instant crash.
Thanks for update anyway. Game looks so much better now.
I`ll let you know if that hook instead hooking works.
Actually I don`t have to add any lines. Only think I did this time was to change this line like this:
" ;hook=recommended "
Don`t know what I was doing wrong before but it works fine until this line is disabled or whatever this ";" is doing in there.

The ";" in front disable the line....so you disable the hooking feature (wrapping now).
About the cut-off light now i remember bo3b tell me that the issue is still present without the fix (pressing F9), so may be a game issue...i will look again.
I found the issue with the stutter....i don't know how the devs don't see this?? there're blind!
The game start with certain VRAM and RAM.....but during gameplay both increase to the level to reach the max VRAM and RAM....and you have a stutter party in the game!!.... lowering the "level of detail" to high helps....i will try using medium.
It's amazing how Mad Max (same engine) runs perfect (from day 1)!! without any stutter or fps drop.
Update:

- Fix Shadows and Lights under water
- Improve HUD (Use in game settings -> HUD = only reticle)
Presets:
- "P" Key and "Xbox Y button" to toggle (450ms delay) between the user separation/convergence and 0 separation/convergence. This is for cinematics and menus.
What a nice view:

Just returned from my vacation on Crete, and realized that you have finished the fix for JC3.
Thank you so much DHR, what a GREAT surprise !!
Crete has some beautifull mountains called "The white Mountains", but those on the pic allmost exceeds them :)

Issues Remain:
- ........ I'm actually seriously thinking about starting work on a replacement for the 3D Vision automatic driver as potentially better option, but to say that would be a lot of work would be an understatement...
Latest Nvidia answer regarding 3DTV play support got on my nerves.
I remembered the sentence above and thought. What If we contribute financially to a project like this, could make kickstarter or smth.

Using LOD = Medium seems to reduce the stutter a lot (better than the stutter party), the rest i can use the highest.
Thanks mate.
btw - this new DLC with new island is way better then the Flying Fortress. You getting to control really powerful robots and the Island itself is huge with lot of locations. Really worth the Season Pass money.

Now playing with LOD = Medium i actually start to enjoy the game (way less stutter).... it's really a fun game to play. I will probably get the DLC later.
How's performance overall on this one? The negative Steam reviews have put me off.
They are not negative without reason !
The game is a blast to play, and DHR made it look really great, but...
I'm still experimenting with settings and looking for solutions to get the FPS up.
The microstutter is more or les gone with LOD=medium, and on foot it's OK, but in vehicles it runs like trash :/
