If your computer has two monitors and one is 3D enabled and the other is 2D.
If your graphics cards are rigged for SLI and your screens have one screen per card,
then the 3D will not work as there will be conflicts between the two screens.
I discovered this when trying to get my system to work today, and the 3D would
not work if I had both screens plugged in. But after removing the SLI it works.

Presumably hooking a third monitor that is 3D enabled up to the card running the
other 3D monitor would allow you to have 2 screens with 3D and 1 without.

I made this thread because I could not find any information about this problem
anywhere. So hopefully this helps some others out.

Happy gaming!

Edit: Just noting that I removed the SLI via the NVIDIA control panel. No change to
hardware was made.

Actually I left all the hardware in place, all I did was just go to the NVIDIA control
panel and disable the SLI there. This is rather useful seeing as if I decide to play
without 3D but want my SLI I can trivially just turn it back on.

I am always playing around with diff progs and will have to check back later but I play as above Without turning sli off and have always done so.
not really a helpfull post from me as I am running out door but just letting you know you can play that way :)
