Different engine than the remake (Unity 5).
Hopefully the game gets good reviews.
Can somebody point me out to the workaround to enable exclusive fullscreen in unity? As it stands the 3d doesnt even kick in for me.
I've tested with these 3 profiles to activate the 3D: Assassin's Creed IV, Max Payne 3 and GTA 5.
This game is playable with shadow off. The CM mode is working with AC4 profile. :D

Maybe it's using our favorite, a NextGen Hybrid.
DAT-13, anything special you did? Set the CM flag perhaps?
I can't get it to work in CM mode even. Are you running the x32 or x64 version?
I only used Inspector to change to different profiles, besides that I didn't do anything else. I've only tested with the x64 version.
When in-game I used 'CRT+ALT+F11' to switching between S3D and CM mode.
You can drop in the OpenGL wrapper from helifax, if it hooks and displays his splash screen, then it's a Hybrid Engine just like The Evil Within.
The fact that CM works for DAT-13 and not you two, leads me to believe that this could actually be a possibility. Only interlaced capable displays could use CM with TEW.
Or if you see Swap Interval mentioned anywhere, it's a hybrid.
Let's hope not, The Evil Within has never been able to be fixed :(

Can confirm, helifax's OpenGL wrapper displays splash screen.
Never thought I'd ever be sad about saying that :(

I just tried this game with Tridef. It does work so the game is DirectX.
But then the game has so many glitches it's unplayable.

The Evil Within is using the "proprietary" idTech NextGen Engine and Bethesda locked out a lot of the console commands/variables so that some things couldn't be changed in the retail version.
Wikipedia suggests that this is using the Unity Engine. If it is, there's a better chance that it can be manipulated to work with 3DMigoto, helifax's wrapper or CM with all displays.
Layers of Fear uses Unity and helifax was able to use his wrapper with it.

It's using borderless fullscreen so you'll have to either: use 3Dmigoto to force fullscreen (by setting "full_screen=1" in the d3dx.ini file) or force the game into Dx9 mode and assign the game to the "3D-Hub Player" profile.
I'm not sure if Helifax is already working on this, but I can take a look at this game this weekend.

Has anyone tried this in 3D? :)
