Anyone have experience in Acer 24" Predator GN246HL with 3D vision ?
I have one extra 3d vision 2 glasses and i was wondering if i should buy my brother a new monitor and give the glasses to him. but i don´t seem to find any info is there a built in adaptor in the monitor for the 3d vision or what the hel* the 3d vision support means ? I you know any other good 144hz monitor with built in adapter you can recommend.

Does the VG248 have a built in (internal) 3D Vision emitter?

actually i did not find any article confirming Asus VG236H to have builtin adapter. There is lot´s of articles about updating with 3d vision kit. i found one at ok price, but the seller says "i ques it´s built in" i never bothered with the 3d as the galsses were extra 100 dollars. Can anyone confirm that it has the ir sender built in

I removed it from the list, I thought it had an internal emitter. When it was being sold, it included an external emitter and glasses in the box and was the only monitor that included a kit AFAIK. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236092 (look at the last picture) sorry about that.

If you are in the USA, Newegg has the VG248QE for $209 atm, which is really cheap and would offset the cost of an emitter from e-bay. The VG248QE can work via Dual Link DVI or Display Port. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236313&cm_re=asus_3d_monitor-_-24-236-313-_-Product

Only complaint is the "out of the box" colours and gamma in Windows. Found an edid override, and voila this screen is PERFECT !!
