New Bad Company 2 Patch
  1 / 2
My Bad Company 2 was updated with a new patch today. I am happy to report that they fixed the mini-HUD in the game and it no longer renders in double image! If you are playing through the single player campaign you will need to start over at the beginning of a chapter as trying to resume your game will just kick you to the desktop.

I am happy to see that there are actually developers out there supporting 3D Vision. My hats off to those guys!

I was able to get Bad company 2 to run perfect in 3d. I adjusted convergence until the mini map icons aligned, giving me a slight bit of pop-out with my weapon.

My game still had the new patch applied as of 2pm today and I finished the single player campaign. This game was a showcase with 3D Vision. The patch fixed the minimap problem and everything else worked flawlessly. I am not sure why some people are having to disable AA as I left it at 4XMSAA in the game and it ran just fine. It probably has to do with the fact that I am still using the withdrawn 196.75 drivers that have the correct profile for the game. I keep my GPU fan controlled with Rivatuner so I am not worried about toasting my video card.

The new drivers seem to have messed up the 3D objective markers, they seem to move off their intended spot when you move your characters sight. If you place the sight directly on them they are where they should be, but if you look away they move off the correct spot.

Yeah the 3D Objective markes are messed up now :( .

I will have to resort to the old drivers now. All the player markers gets out of position if they are not straight infront of you. When you play multiplayer, there are always several markers completely off.
Then enemies run in the spot where the "off marker is" and you think it's friendly till they kill you...

Glad i'm not the only one, this game was so close to being perfect, what a shame.

If nothing else the game sure has some awesome sounds.............CHEERS

BTW: I guess you could say if Crysis had the sounds of BFBC2 it would be a perfect game, even with crysis at low setting if that is all your computer could muster.....

Before I installed this patch the graphics in BC2 were fine, now everything seems really washed out, whether running it in 3D or not.
