SO what framerate are you guys getting? I have settings on highest except for Ambient Occlusion is high and motion blur is off. on my 1080p monitor and 980 ti overclocked I can get down in the low 20's framerate running around motherbase or places with lots of buildings.... I never tested my framerate when I was running with my 780ti , but I do not remember the performance being this bad....

Is this game supposed to get less framerate in 3d 1920x1080 than 2d 4k resolution?
3d 1920x1080 -fps dips in the low 20's
2d 4k -fps does not go under about 46
Finally completed Mission 46. The 3D was outstanding throughout the game! Another superb effort by DarkStarSword (with the help of the great community shader modding tools and supporting experience). The game's rendering performance was surprisingly good (and consistent) throughout game, also.
Related to game, I wish that Mission 51 had been included in an otherwise phenomenal game. See http://www.ign.com/wikis/metal-gear-solid-5-the-phantom-pain/Ending_videos, Cut Ending for more information.

I can't get the game to even launch with the fix in place. Windows 10 x64, 2x 980 SLI latest drivers, 368.81, i7 4770k.
Damn, I was really looking forward to playing this in real 3D Vision. I've afterburner closed, steam overlay off. I can't think of why this won't launch for me. Please help. :(

On some games having Steam's overlay off is not enough, you have to remove the dll to the recycle bin/delete it.
K:\Program Files (x86)\Steam for me, and this GameOverlayRenderer64.dll
Edit the d3dx.ini and set calls=1 debug=1 and unbuffered=1. Then launch the game and send me the d3d11_log.txt it produced.
I've done it. I sent you a pm. I'd paste the log contents in there but it's hella huge. Is that what you'd like me to do? Or pm me an addy to send it to?
LOL. I'm bloodly blind. I see your email on the bottom of your sig now. I'll send it right away.

What build of Win 10 are you on?
I ran it on an up to date (but not insider) Win 10 with 368.81 and it's working fine for me (although I don't have an SLI setup yet, though will soon - cards are being shipped). Curiously I notice that something is querying for a DX12 device in your log shortly after creating a swap chain, but I don't see that in my log from Win10. That query fails and very soon afterwards (but not immediately) the game crashes. The final entry is also a bit curious (but might just be a symptom):

I've updated the fix on the blog - I don't think it will help with your crash, but it's worth trying anyway since we did fix a couple of bugs in 3DMigoto. The update is mostly to fix the red dot sight depth and the grenade targeting arc, which I noticed had got broken (I think by me).

I didn't think to mention, I'm on Insider Build 14390. I'm willing to bet this has something to do with the crash. One difference you may notice, is I moved the game to my main drive from another drive. Just trying something to get it to work. I also check my error logs and got this error which is related to the crash.

I did try something else, that may or may not provide some insight. I downloaded the latest 3DMigoto. 1.2.40, and replaced the 3d11.dll from you fix with the one from the x32 folder of 1.2.40 and the game loaded. Although, the native 3D still looked like the fix wasn't working. The above error didn't show when I did this. Hopefully that provides a clue or two.
Anyways, I'll try the updated fix you've posted and let you know if that works. And again, I really do appreciate you taking the time looking into this. :)
