One of my favorite games is
Singles 2 Triple Trouble
Unfortunately I had problems with the chars and some other objects not being displayed in 3D but in 2D (like a HUD).
Now I have found the solution:
Edit the file shaderConfig.fxi in the folder ...\Program Files\Singles2\Effect.
Change
#define CHARACTER_VERTEX_SHADER vs_2_sw
to
#define CHARACTER_VERTEX_SHADER vs_2_0

Now the chars are displayed correctly the game provides an excellent 3D experience /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':biggrin:' />

How about including a patch with the driver or seperate that affects packages or all supported games and automatically rewrites the config files and whanot to optimize them for 3d gaming, along with maybe some 'hack' type driver interruption specifially to fix 3d bugs fast, and maybe some 'pretty' or 'fast' sliders.

Edit the file VentureEngine.ini in ...\Program Files\Adams Venture\VentureGame\Config\ and change to:
DynamicShadows=FALSE
MotionBlur=FALSE
DepthOfField=FALSE

Adam's Venture 2
Rename VentureGame.exe in ...\Program Files\Adam's Venture 2\Binaries\Win32 to aion.exe.
Edit the file VentureEngine.ini in ..\Users\[Your name]\Documents\My Games\VentureGame\VentureGame\Config and change to:
DynamicShadows=False
DirectionalLightmaps=False
MotionBlur=False
DepthOfField=False
AmbientOcclusion=False

You can also set DynamicLights=False to remove some irritating light effects. But in the last puzzle (with gems) You have to set DynamicLights=True to be able to see the gem's colors.

With these changes both games offer good S3D gameplay.

Update for
Prince of Persia The two Thrones
Helixmod now allows to prevent disturbing blur and glow effects in this game without the need to turn off other effects by reducing the special effects setting.
Use the attached override with Helixmod (see http://helixmod.wikispot.org/How_To_Install ) and You can maximize all the graphic settings in the in game options. You only have to turn off water effects and the game offers excellent S3D.

Update: Attachement removed, can be downloaded here: http://helixmod.blogspot.de/2012/06/prince-of-persia-two-thrones.html

It is also necessary to change hardware_settings_config.xml directx forcedx9 = "false" to directx forcedx9 = "true". Also, turn off the "particles" in the graphics options of the game.
