Nvidia 2D Surround FPS mouse issues moving the mouse freezes games
I am super excited to finally have a setup that can work with 2D surround, but I'm experiencing some issues with playability on some of the games. Obviously not every game will be supported, but I'm getting a really weird lag that is making the games completely unplayable. This issue was definitely not happening with a single monitor and only happens on a few games.
After starting some of the games (The Witcher, Anomaly Warzone Earth, DOW 2: retribution so far) I get terrible lag that drops FPS down to 1-5 WHEN I MOVE THE MOUSE CURSOR. I've confirmed this when paused, in the menus, and other times when little action is happening on screen. Moving slowly reduces the load or moving. Moving fast freezes the game completely.
I searched this online for hours and I've tried all the big fixes such as rolling back the drivers (tried 301 and 304 as well as mouse drivers), reducing the polling of my gaming mouse (logitech g9), and completely gutting the advanced features of the graphics card including dropping to 3840x1024 and 3072x720 not to mention AA and all the goodies.
I know the card is plenty fast to push my other games like World in Conflict (which is awesome with 3 monitors BTW). I just want it to work for the rest of my games!
What is going on? Movement of the mouse is killing my games?
