Yeah I am thinking about buying a PS4 for that game alone
If you do, the Pro is worth considering. Apparently standard PS4 users have seen significant framerate issues which aren't present on the Pro. Also it's only fair to warn you of it's downsides, if you're thinking of buying a console for one game. -The camera can be a bit janky at times, and requires frequent attention to keep it on-track. -The controls for the boy are a bit loose. To me it felt correct - like you're controlling an actual child. He's not Nathan Drake or Lara Croft, he doesn't move like an athlete and turn on a dime. Some people found this frustrating, but I like it. -Trico is a realistic animal. He doesn't always respond to your commands immediately, and he has a mind of his own. It's not to everyone's taste, but to me this made him feel much more alive. If you want him to respond, you have to learn to read his moods, and learn how to communicate properly. Spamming commands will confuse him and you'll end up far more frustrated. This is a game about a child and an animal learning to understand and communicate. Be patient and kind, and you'll enjoy the experience. Aside from those minor issues though, it's fantastic. I've been waiting for this game ever since SOTC, and it's almost everything I was hoping for. Sorry for getting off-topic, I just really loved this game.

Thanks for the update Pirateguybrush! Yeah, SOTC was exactly the same;) Is not a game with accurate controls but "more realistic" controls;) I am still pondering if I should buy a console though. Probably I'll buy a few other games on the PS4 that are exclusive and I want to see. My last console was the PS2 ages ago and sold it after 2 weeks:)) (I still have nightmares about the Options being just brightness hahaha) I bought that one for SOTC. As a quick question, can SOTC be played on the PS4 currently? Or does it require a a PS3. Sorry for the off-topic here guys. Sadly, no PS3/PS4 emulators exist so we can play a few of the gems on the consoles in 3D :( That would be awesome;) So, we have to stick with the consoles and 2D...yuck:( Still, some games "require" to be played;)

SOTC was re-mastered with 3D support for the PS3, along with Ico :P There are rumors of a SotC Director's Cut being worked on for the PS4, if it's true, we might see the missing colossi that were cut from the original and re-mastered versions. An emulator would indeed be awesome.

As long as we have gone lightly into the subject of Stereo 3D on PS3... I have in my combined PC/PS3/PS4 library over 100 games that I have played in S3D and one of the most impressive, to this day, is God of War: Ghost of Sparta on PS3. What makes it more astonishing is that the game began its life on PSP and was up-rezed and given a new coat of paint as part of the "God of War Origins Collection" on PS3 (which also includes the other GoW PSP title - "God of War: Chains of Olympus (S3D in this one not nearly as impressive.) Some truly impressive work by developer Ready at Dawn (best known for the PSP game, "Daxter," and the very under-appreciated PS4 game "The Order: 1886.")

I brought the 3d monitor to play PS3 games in 3d and then got hooked on the PC gaming. In addition to what has been mentioned there is a neat little platformer called Puppeteer that looks great in 3d, the later Motorstorm games and a Silent Hill game. That missing colossi thing is a rumour created by the community, surely. I climbed all the way to the top of the big building, after eating countless white lizards, and there is no hint of any other colossi up there. Great game - but I think the community has gone off and inserted their wishes as some kind of reality with it :D

Fumito Ueda actually had 48 collossi in mind when he began development, which was quickly cut to 24. The game released with 16. The 8 unused collossi can be seen in the art book.

I've owned a Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4. The Xboxes have collected dust, but there have been some fantastic PS exclusives. Anything by Naughty Dog is guaranteed to be incredible (Last of us, Uncharted), and I'm also looking forward to playing Until Dawn and Bloodbourne. Then coming soon are Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, Last of Us 2, Days Gone, Death Standing, Detroit: Become Human... Exclusives suck as a concept, but Sony does gets some truly excellent ones. With most Xbox exclusives coming out on Windows anyway, the PS4 is definitely the better "companion" to a PC.

Here is my list, a little longer for various reasons (In disorder, I have no preference over each other) : Farcry 3 - 4 - primal (must have for primal) Tomb raider and rise of tomb raider Bioschock series Deadspace 2 - 3 (ambiance, i love it) Skyrim with mods (STEP for example - superior to anything the publisher can improve ... it's sad) Dragon age inquisition (very beautyfull and which gave a lot of trouble at the time for the creation of the fix at the time it seems to me) series assassin's creed (interesting) Darksouls 2 - 3 (must have) GTA 5 (must have, ambiance, gameplay, etc...) Dirt rally (must must must have, very immersive and very difficult driving, very nice and playable cockpit, close to realism) And without forgetting my first experience 3d but also for the atmosphere : Alien isolation I think that my first experience VR will be resident evil 7 !! Without this small community, I could not have lived these moments of pleasure, and I really want to thank all the people who got involved and allowed us to do it.

Helifax, I buy the ps4 and I'm really not disappointed. I took it for sony exclusivity. Uncharted, last of us remastered, until down, god of war series ... my god of games (lol). These games on a retropojector with a 5.1, it is a wonder I'm waiting for god of war 4, i saw a video of this game and I have not yet recovered. Costiq, I would be interested to know your list of mods for fallout 4 if possible, history to see which ones are compatible between them :)

The movements are sometimes frustrating but we approach a realism (for the movements, it's fluid, I love to make him fall on small slopes and see him do the cabrioles in the descent, limit I hurt for him lol) that the players do not seem to see. The player as a whole look for games "stuff" without finesse. Personally, I am looking for something else and the Last guardian is a very good start in what I am looking for. I would not recommend it for the flaws it presents but it's still a must have for me.
Dragons Dogma - looks nice in 3d but I haven't played much/gotten into it yet.
I did and I enjoyed it quite a bit! The spells and monsters are great fun. The story is a bit weird (I mean - you start by having your heart plucked out by a dragon's fingernail) but still good enough. The free DLC dungeon has major repetition issues in the rooms but the monsters are interesting enough to make it worth going through twice. Unfortunately for me, I played most of it before the 3D patch was ready. XCom 2 is another great game where I didn't get the 3D patch until late. Edit: Forgot Final Fantasy 10! It has to be played in 3D to appreciate Seymour's hair!

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.
