URGENT HELP PLEASE I'm about to yell at someone...
not really, but I feel like it

What the heck is this!!??

I just got my Edimensional 3D glasses, and I'm all pumped, go to plug everything in and look at this, my "adapter plug" as they call it, can't plug in ANYWHERE on my computer, and my monitor can't plug into the adapter

For a better representation look at these pics I took

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v175/311...Impissedoff.jpg

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v175/311...mpissedoff2.jpg

As you can see, the plug on the right in the top pic(1st pic)is the Edimensional adapter plug, the plug on the left is my LCD monitor plug.

In the second pic, you can see my monitor plugged in, and then the second video deal slot on the left next to it.

Is there ANYWAY I can get this working, like go buy an adapter from Best Buy or something?? I've been waiting all week for these to come in, so excited and this crap happens, I'm reallllly not happy. Someone PLEASE help.

Is there some Adapter plug I can go buy from Best Buy that acts as sort of a link between the two?? Is there?? I really hope there is.

I have a really good computer, and a pretty nice monitor so I would assume it would have the capability, it's not like the technology I have is old or anything...

Please help, I'd like to get this working tonight if possible, Thanks.

You just need an adapter to go to the Vid card should of came with your Vid Card then you will need another Adapter to go to the dongle. why not just email or call E-Dimensional and ask them what adapters are needed you could also complain that they should either make the Proper Cables or give the adapters in the Package if you have a LCD Monitor??

They clearly say the adapter requires a VGA connection. You'll need a compatible DVI-VGA adapter aparently.

Yeah just find the adapter and your ready to go.. Edimensional is good but you could have found 3D Glasses for half the price.

I recently bought a couple of shutter glasses from an eBay online dealer ... cabled versions, 18 Euros each ... just do a search for "3d shutter glasses" on eBay

here's the cabled version that I bought (top of the page for 17.95 Eu)

www.razor3d.com also offers cheaper alternatives

Cheers,
Maggi
