Hi All
The monitors with bundled glasses in North America and other regions should be available soon. It took a little longer for the monitor partners to get their shipments into Etail. I'm sorry its taking longer than excepted.

I ordered an Asus VG278H from my local store today right off their website. It says special order (i.e. we don't have them in the store yet) but it looks like they are making their way through the retail chain...

But what about the 3D vision 2 kits I.E. the glasses without the new monitor? Everything I have read said October with some sources saying available immediately after GeForce LAN.

Are there any more LightBoost enabled monitors scheduled to arrive soon Andrew? (i.e. within a few months) The 27" Asus is too big and out of my budget. I'm just looking for a 23" or 24".

In a previous post he said there may be more news in November. There has been nothing official so I am guessing he can’t say. As it is with the glasses it will be with the monitors, they just won’t tell you to allow retailers and manufacturers to clear old stock on to unfortunate customers at full price and rather than letting make an informed decision to wait. It is just business and you are their bottom line... well getting your money is, you actually stand between them and your money.

So what are the reports with ghosting on the vg278h? I have an acer gd235hz and the ghosting can be horrible sometimes.
[/quote]
Anything is better than the GD235hz. My planar was a massive step up from that display. From what I hear the Acer is a bit better than the planar 2311w as far as ghosting but that lightboost sounds like a nice plus.

Do you mean Asus instead of Acer here?
I was debating whether to pick this one up or the planar to replace the Acer one I own. I am currently leaning towards the planar as its only 300 on newegg but if the ghosting is truly gone in this monitor like they have been advertising it might be the winner.

I was debating whether to pick this one up or the planar to replace the Acer one I own. I am currently leaning towards the planar as its only 300 on newegg but if the ghosting is truly gone in this monitor like they have been advertising it might be the winner.
