Settings for Fallout 3
Fallout 3 looks amazing in 3D (just bought it again yesterday). Any reccommendations on video settings. I already tuned off all water reflection. What about depth of field?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Some of it depends on your system specs, of course, but I keep everything set to high. I turn water reflections off and keep the water quality low. I have severe hitching if not, but the water doesn't look good in 3D anyway. I get around 50 - 60 FPS with a gtx 275 and quad-core 9550. The only really annoying part of Fallout 3 in 3D is I get great pop out, but it screws up the pip boy. I've found a good balance, but man the game is awesome in 3D. /turned.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':turned:' />

Hey Crimson,
Quad 2.3 AMD
9800GT 1GB
4G DDR2 Ram
Samsung DLP 50"
1920x1080

Runs pretty smooth already but I was just wondering if I should turn off field depth or anything else?

I found out the sky is bit bad, the night sky is 'too close for comfort'. I made a fix for that tho, available at on http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12146

Water reflections need to be gone - no way to get it work good :(

I also turned off hdr/bloom. It made things worse (especially sky), but it's up to you

Now it looks wonderful for me :)

I found turning off depth-of-field makes everything a lot easier to look at when the convergence is pushed to it's maximum acceptable level.

Also the above-mentioned night-sky fix is a god-send :)
