Quick question, 3D Experts. 3D Vision worked great, now it's broken!
Hello all,
I hope this hasn't been discussed yet, but I honestly can't even search for my problem because it is so odd.
Anyway, I have a Viewsonic VX2268WM connected to a EVGA GTX460. 3DVision with the active-shutter glasses worked great for about a month, especially on games like Call of Duty: Black Ops and Arkham Asylum. But now, I can't even play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 because at any depth, I ultimately lose the 3D effect. Now, this isn't right away; I can play the game for about 30 seconds in full 3D before the image begins to quickly ghost from top to bottom until the entire screen looks exactly the same with the glasses on and off. I can close one eye and I still see double through the other. Ultimately it makes the game unplayable.
And, it does it with every game.
And yes, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest drivers.
This only started recently, but I can't say exactly when it began. I've had the graphics card for 8 months and the monitor + 3D Vision kit for about 6 weeks. Up until this past week or so, I was able to play just about every game I own on max resolution with decent graphics settings. I scoured Google for hours but couldn't come up with anything. I'm hoping you geniuses can help me out. Ask me questions if you need, and I'd really appreciate any help that I could get.

So tracking starts good then gets off whack? That is strange. You can try charging up your glasses but I doubt that's the problem. You didn't swap out the DVI cable connecting the monitor to the computer or anything, did you?

Nope, this was literally out of the blue as far as I know. And, dead glasses was my first thought too. Still happens after a full charge. I'm beginning to dread it's my monitor going out.

Lets isolate the problem. try plugging in your glasses and leaving them fully plugged in and turn them on. Does the 3D work then?
