Are you making sure you select 1280x720 for the resolution in the game?
Sometimes it will even let you select 120hz in the game resolution settings as well so make sure you do that too.
Also go to the set up stereoscopic 3D option in the Nvidia control panel then select test stereoscopic 3D
The new window that comes up should be a slider with the resolution select 1280x720 and tick 120hz in the refresh rate and select the "Apply this refresh rate to all games" then click apply.
But I think your just not selecting 1280x720 in the graphic options in game but the above can't hurt.
Also you are running 1280x720@120hz now for your dekstop aren't you? If not go select that as your resoltuion in the Nvidia control panel.
I select 1280x720@60hz for my resolution and when I do 3D it kicks into 120hz mode.
It won't damage anything by the way with the Nvidia message in red, this is just Nvidia being typical Nvidia and trying to control us.
As you seen your game was in 3D and working A OK.
I am choosing 1280x720 in the game and as the resolution for my desktop. I am also making sue everything stays at 120hz. So far, the only thing you said which may come to mind that you are doing differently is where you put "i select 1280x720@ 69 hzfor my resolution aNd when i do it kicks into 120 hz mode.". I just go straight to 120 hz mode anyway. I also am sure the game is running in the same resolution.
I am getting this warning during the setup stereo 3d utility, during re5, wow, and fallout 3. I have set each game to that resolution. Maybe I'm missing a small setting? Maybe there is one way to completely delete this warning from my files or computer? Any ideas?
hi, you can try this:
go to screen resolution, advanced settings, monitor , properties, driver, uninstall driver, and check the box to delete driver.
Switch the pj to 1280*720 / 120hz.
log off.
Mine is working like this for now
Ok tritosine, but after all the hard work installing the Edid acer driver or wtvr it is called, are you then telling me to delete it? Wont that get me back at square one with no edid driver and no 3d surround?

Can you please explain a bit better? Your English is hard to understand.

Ok this is great, especially since it is tomorrow. Will I just simply download the most recent gtx480 driver from your site and that will include what i need for the projector?

We will have a 3D Vision kit tomorrow. The driver will be available around 4AMish PST.

Nice! Thanks for the updates as usual! :)
Is this update just R257 with some bug/compatibility fixes? Or is it the 3D Vision Surround release Tom Petersen mentioned for tentative late-June release? Also, does it fix some of the 3D Vision SLI performance problems many have noticed from R197 to R257 drivers? Biggest drop-offs I observed were in Assassin's Creed 2, Just Cause 2, BFBC2, and a few others. Also Splinter Cell Conviction has some degrading performance problems in 3D Vision with SLI only.

1-Do projectors generally last only about 3000 hours of lamp time? Is that bad/good? Is replacing the lamp affordable? (my projector was 780.00 $ or so ) I have only had it a month and im at about 267 hours.
2-Economy mode. Is this a must? FYI - With brightness up eco mode really isn't bad at all
3-Lastly, what about this filter mode option? Do I want to use that and does it have to do with conservation?

1) Yes. That is normal lifespan for a projector bulb
2) It is more of a preference thing. If you have a nice room with controlled lighting, econo mode will extend the life of your bulb
3) If you mean placing filters at the front of your projector, it will simply affect image quality

1. Once a while the red text pops up I remove the drivers , and its still running 120hz despite generic, no red box.
2. Even at next windows start up, no more 120hz, I use the edid override . inf, and set 120hz, no red box.
repeat 1.
