Hi there, I checked the AC Black Flag Profile and in my opinion 3D in Alien works great. However, I am dissapointed with the graphics quality. I get 120FPS with Vsync (Full HD), using Ultra settings - everything maxed out with my GTX 760. While in 3D Mode I get 60FPS. I've been trying to sell my card for 2 weeks and buy GTX 970, but what's the point? If Ryse: Son of Rome doesn't require a better card than GTX 760 I will probably stick with it.

mike_ar69 your pictures are awesome! I'm really excited now that you'll get this working after the huge disappointment of having to play in 2D. This game really needs and deserves 3D. Thanks for your efforts. The developers should be paying you for this. I've got friends who'll buy it once 3D is working or at least playable and I bet I'm not alone in this. Great work - I can't wait!

Compatibility mode suffers from lack of convergence, lack of depth, it projects HUD elements onto geometry, and results in visual anomalies - all of which are not an issue for "real" 3D. I also know I'm pretty much repeating what MyLittleEye said, but for the benefit of people who may not know there is a real and tangible difference, Compatibility Mode is a cheap nasty imitation of what proper 3D Vision can achieve.

I for one I am really happy to be able to play the game in 3D Vision with CM mode. Sure is not the same as proper Geometry rendering but is better than 2D IMO. I am using 100% depth and tweaked the convergence quite a lot. Sure the halos are there and sometimes the menu elements render weird...but is way better than flat 2D. This game in 3D Surround is amazing;)) Am I looking for a proper 3D Vision Geometry rendering? Sure. I am ;)) When and If Mike decides to release his fix I will defo play this game again in proper Stereo 3D...but until then CM is very welcome in my book.:)
