Adjust the MonitorSize key. Make sure it is hex value. The smaller the value, the deeper your max depth becomes.
The value (in decimal) is double the size of your monitor. For example, I have the 2233rz, a 22" monitor, which, when doubled, is 44, then 2c in hex. So I cut that in half: 22, or 16 hex (what I put in). That doubled my depth. Now 50% is what 100% used to be.
It takes the brain some time to adjust and your eyes will hurt at first, but it's pretty freakin' sweet when you get used to it! Now I can play WoW with the monitor 1.5' away from my face without the depth diminishing!
Also note: I think it changes the registry value when you change resolutions (unconfirmed), so you may have to readjust the value.
Another note: there are a lot of fun values in here to play with... I think we can make our own game profiles by putting in recognition keys (files it looks for in the game dir), but I haven't tried it out yet. Play around some and see what happens.
This didn't work for me, when I enter any game the registry just revert to the original 2c. Why? What i'm doing wrong?
Thanks
Try saving a .reg file with the monitor size setting in it, then apply it before entering a game, or alt-tab/windows-key out of a game, apply the settings, then re-maximize the game window.

I don't know how far it can be pushed yet since too much depth actually wants the eyes to start going reverse-crosseyed.
So yeah, if I come out of this experiment wall-eyed, I'll let you guys know... Depth in real life is going to be small potatoes.
