The other solution (posted by eqzitara) works perfect (dx9 games), so you have 2 options.

Well I do not use the right name: it's the cross hair of the sight I want to be collimated in front of the plane, like in real ones. The cross hair is already in 3D, but at the depth of the sight.
This makes the aim more easy, otherwise you have to fix the depth of the sight, then the depth of the target and try to align them together.
The modified shader you wrote make the game crash

@lefunste Thats not really a crosshair(hud). Thats glass with a crosshair drawn on it(physical object). It cant be done especially since its tied to the cockpit. It "might" be possible to remove the crosshair or glass but thats pretty much as good as it gets.

@lefuneste, if you have "Dogfight 1942" let me know. I suppose you likes this kind of games (airplanes, flight, etc). This game is more Action than simulator...but its really fun and have great S3D. Time ago i made a fix for it (that now i noticed never upload to the Blog). The game was unplayable, all wrong...but with the fix the game can be rated "good" at least (some chapter excellent)....only minor issues with some effect that i manage to minimize but not fixed fully. And the cross hair should be in front of the plane. I tried to change the oO.w component by multiplying it by 20 (It seems to me that w is the depth of the object). The crosshair seems to be farther, but its size is too small (see picture). Well, it's normal: the farer it is, the smaller it seems... A way to change its depth without reducing it should be to put it in 2D, and then apply the classical method to change the depth. I tried to set o0.w to zero, but I have no more cross hair. But maybe a 2D object should have a depth to 1 ? I have to study VS syntax to know how to set o0.w to 1... EDIT: modifying the .w component is not the right way. I managed to modify the separation between the left and right images of the crosshair by adapting the standard way, but this doesn't really change the feeling of the crosshair depth @DHR: I don't know this game, but you should try the beta of "war thunder". This is a very funny game in arcade mode (Even if the 3Dvision fix is not ready yet)

Hi guys! There Are news about wrapper DX11? Now DX11 - the present hemorrhoids in an ass!!! In FAR CRY 3 - too it is impossible to play 3D! Also the weapon further than is necessary in depth of the screen :-(

Yeah, Far Cry 3 is a bit of a mess at the moment, however it's also DX9 compatible so hopefully we'll get a fix for it.

Im locked till tuesday, but I seriously doubt I can fix 2D shadows regardless. Has anyone even tried profile changes? Nvidia will only profile the game for the highest setting.(dx11) Like has anyone tried to use the avatar profile(most recent dunia engine game though it has been revamped) and dx9? I mean it probably wouldnt work but you never know, you could be surprised. This game must be good... everyones flipping out lol.

Yea, I just pre-ordered it today because of all the hype. The game looks beautiful given the 3D screenshots of a previous poster. It would make for an excellent experience in 3D - that's for sure.

I'm testing Miasmata, an interesting indie game with very impressive graphics.
