I had this a while back. I fixed it by turning off all vertex shaders using a program called RivaTuner. I think there may be an option to do this within wow itself. Its been a while since I used the 3d since i usually run off my laptop.

I have an nvidia 7600GT pci express.
I can run Grand Prix Legends, but colors flicker.
Whenever I enable stereo in GTR2, the screen freezes and everything locks up.
That was with 84.21 drivers and 84.12 stereo drivers.
Thanks.

When everything has been tryed and the graphic card still crashes "Underclocking" can be an alternate setting. I know because I use the EN7600GT from Asus.
Gpu is: 560mhz
Memory : 700mhz (1400mhz) GDDR3
What I did to stop the crashes ? Simply underclock to :
Gpu 500mhz
Mem 600mhz (1200mhz)

[quote name='SailorSat' date='Dec 5 2006, 02:10 PM']Hi mates.
I just updated my boiled 6600gt to a 7600gt and now got a simple problem.
The old 78.02 driver doesn't work with the 7600gt, and the newer 91.31 driver crashes if i try to use Stereo in WoW.
Other games work smooth.
So anyone experiencing the same problems?

I don't think it matters as long as both the graphics drivers and the sterio drivers match. I have the 7900 and use the 91.47 drivers because it is the higest non beta sterio driver.

Not every Object in World of WarCraft is Stereo.
In fact a lot of trees and even my character is exactly on the same position on both eyes, only the colorfull enchantments are eye specific.
