Developer support/SDK?
On the NVIDIA developer page, [url="http://developer.nvidia.com/object/3d_stereo_dev.html"]there are links to resources about 3D Vsion[/url].. but nothing really more detailed than slides from a 2008 talk.

I'm curious to start experimenting with developing with 3D vision for different applications, including [url="http://gizmodo.com/5323671/3d-projection-gives-building-fantastical-undulating-skin"]real time projection effects[/url] (think of those cool 3D relighting projections, now imagine them inside your house..)
I can imagine some weird experiments like using 3D Vision not to control 3D but to hide [url="http://www.engr.uky.edu/~lgh/ecetechnicalreports/csp06010CalibrateDisplay.pdf"]continuous structured image calibration frames[/url] from a viewer, allowing for arbitrary dynamic projectors with self-calibrating depth measurement.

So, is there an SDK for controlling 3D vision glasses and the emitter? Can each eye be controlled independently? Is it possible to have multiple glasses but each following a different flicker plan? (Perhaps two people wear glasses, one person sees even frames, one person sees only odd ones..)

nV is extremely draconian about their hardware and user settings (to the point of keeping me from enjoying it in the ways I wish). I'm 99.9999% sure that not even AAA devs can directly affect the hardware itself.

It's hard to believe that after 10 years of S3D experience Nvidia is screwing up big time. Every driver release we get two fixes and four new bugs or crapped up profiles. Look what they did to the ARMA2 Profile. It's unplayable in S3d now.

So i wouldn't bet on waiting for a SDK. It will probably take another 10 years ;)
