I noticed when you change convergence through the NVIDIA hotkeys (vs game menu) it reverts to menu value after reloading/dying/ checkpoint. Very annoying as the convergence is much better if you push it further then what you can adjust in the menu. You get a nice doll effect when converging on the Max.
Game looks great, though I get some crosstalk at higher depth, the boat sequence didn't work well, water and sun looked weird. When the jeep hits the villa I literaly ducked out of the way. /turned.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':turned:' />

Doesn't anyone know how to change convergence beyond the menu? When I tried editing the graphics.xml file to 50.0000, it still reverts to 20.000 after each checkpoint...

A few people have mentioned the convergence resetting after every checkpoint. I believe I have found a solution:
First set your custom convergence to whatever you want (using the 3D vision shortcut keys), then save it using CTRL+F7. Next, go to to Max Payne's graphic settings and set the convergence to 20 and press Apply. In fact for me, I don't even have to change anything, just immediately pressing Apply also works.
Now the convergence will still reset after each checkpoint, but to your custom setting!
I have to do it every time I launch the game, but it's working perfectly. Hopefully if will work for you guys too.

I'll try it on next play through, for the first time in 3D, but I have noticed the annoing reset issue :)..
