The horrible thing, is that the majority of people are inadvertently punished as a result of targeting the minority of offenders. HDMI and DRM are prime examples. Pirates screwed all of the legit purchasers. Now we have to contend with stupid shit like HDMI handshakes and HDCP compliant displays/cable connections.

I'll give that a try, but from my efforts examining EAC it appears to have multiple methods to check every DLL loaded into the address space so it wouldn't surprise me in the least if that doesn't work. Besides which I don't really want to be fighting an uphill battle with anti-cheat software. I don't want modders vs EAC to be the new pirates vs DRM. If we find a workaround today, they will block it for the next title - I'd rather either work with them to find a solution to allow 3DMigoto to work with EAC that they are happy with, or failing that at least have a way to reliably disable EAC (and multiplayer) that they and/or the game developers are happy with.

Yeah, we'll be able to use the EAC bypass to mod this game, but I've been holding off to see if any updates from Ubisoft break it - I don't want my time and effort to be wasted as collateral damage for what is really somebody else' battle. And it's not like I'm short of other things to work on :-p
