Nvidia needs to support these Catleap monitors that people want to play 3D on. Ok so maybe not 120 Hz, but 100Hz should be supported since the SLI Bridge is only capable of 400Mhz.
Plzz contact Catleap Nvidia, work out a deal. Make some headlines! Flex that Kepler muscle!

There is a lot more to a monitor than just supporting 100Hz or higher to make it a great 3D monitor. This monitor is not designed as a 3D monitor and so doubtful they will ever certify this monitor as such.

As this oc'd version is far from being anything like an official product (plus available only through one online store in - to put it generous - limited qunatity batches which makes a lottery draw look pale, I don't sse that happen. I'd rather pledge for more "real" 120Hz IPS monitors with 2560x1440 as LG had misleadingly (again) announced.... oh yeah - and with Lightboost, please, this makes a HUGE difference...

if it really does 120Hz, not much really...at least not much to compete with all 3Dvision certified monitors that do not have Lightboost. And still then...

neither is the Iiyama ProLite G2773HS and try it with EDID override if you can - you'll be surprised (still it doesn'T have Lightboost and this is IMHO the most essential feature to get for 3Dvision).
talking 'bout Lightboost: I recently got the Acer HN274HBbmiiid on an Amazon special offer for 300,- EUR (about 200,- discount!) and let me tellyou: Allthough being officially certified as "3Dvision ready", having Lightboost and even comes bundled with v2 glasses it's not worth even this money. It - frankly speaking - sucks due to reducing the reduction in vertical lines in 3D mode, hell you can even see it in 2D mode when grabbing a window and dragging it up/down which is why I returned it hands down for a refund.
(I have to mention that also the Asus VG278HE I tried afterwards suffers this problem a bit, which makes me believe it is not the panel but the "weaving" of the Dual Link signal in the electronics, as the el cheapo 23.6" HannsG and the much critisized Sammsung 2233 do not show this problem. Still, all in all it's the best compromise so far
To make a long story short: Yes, there is more to a great 3D monitor than the plain refresh rate. But as long as even the sanctioned, blessed, and holy "3Dvision certified" monitors don't deliver with better (if even matching) 3D quality than those of other solutions (eg. Samsungs 950 and aforementioned LG)this argumentation is completely moot. And having experienced the limitations of the Asus as mentioned and comparing to my IPS based 2560x1600 30" Dell i can absolutely confirm that the only solution to real proper 3Dvision experience will be a 27" 2560x1440 120Hz IPS monitor with Lightboost. So lets pray for it.

Hmm, I thought that with a good SLI setup and proper setup of the Nvidia USB emitter it would be very doable.
Well hopefully soon we will see a monitor that meets the specifications/criteria needed to be 3D capable at 2560x1440.
So it looks most likely that the first one will be a passive solution.
Well, it is doable - very doable, in fact. All ( DOH! ) it would require was nvidia bringing back generic CRT mode...
btw. do you happen to own one?
