I'm getting a samsung 3dtv, can I use nvidia 3d vision on it?
Hello everyone :) I plan on purchasing this 3dtv soon Samsung PN60F5500 60" Class Plasma 3D http://www.electronicsforless.ca/tvs-displays-1/60in-larger-84/samsung-pn60f5500-60-class-plasma-3d-smart-1080p-hdtv-3291.html I currently game on my pc connected to an old hdtv (no room for a desktop) and I plan on connecting the pc to the new 3dtv as well. If I understand correctly I only need to buy the 3dtv play software and 3dvision2 kit and follow the instruction? Will this tv model be supported? Do I need anything else? My gpu is a geforce 580. Will all games work like they are supposed to on a pc with 3dvision? Do I need to apply the helix fixes and everything? Thank you

HDMI 3D HDTVs and projectors are supported via 3DTV Play which costs $40 or is free if you have a Nvidia 3D emitter connected. Nvidia's 3D Glasses do not work with 3DTV Play, they are disabled. The emitter will only work to enable 3DTV Play for free, but otherwise will do nothing. You need to use the glasses from the manufacturer of your 3DHDTV or from a suitable/compatible 3rd party.

So that you know you will only get a 720/60 fps or 1080p/24fps in 3d tv mode.

Thank you, this answers my questions! And I didn't know about the compromise of the resolution, obviously I will go for the framerate to have the best 3d experience possible.
