These news probably meaning that Hitman will be with 3D support (same developer , Nixxes).
Helifax , Thanks for your hard work and don't be disappointed cause you (and others) can learn from their "fix" for different titles.
i personally believe that your fix will be a better solution.
it looks wonderful from your screenshots.

They added real 3D support? whoaa, this is a really good new, but on another side I feel sorry for Helifax & co who have spent so much time working on this fix.

that's crazy, it makes some weeks you're working strong on the game to release a fix !
HELIXMOD vs SQUARE ENIX, who is the best one ? :)
One way to find out;) Hehe;) I am actually curios as this is the First time this happened!
Is also a good exercise now to compare our Fix with their Fix;)
The only "downside" is that ours is locked to an older version;) I really want to see if they did implement dynamic crosshair when targeting though;) As I hated the fixed depth crosshair in the first TR;))
Really curious;)
Do you need us for testing and cure your curiosity about the crosshair depth? Or are you gonna do it by yourself? Oh, Another question: if someone wants to donate to you, lets say "buy you a beer"... Can it be done to the email on your signature? I gladly would do it. After so much work, you deserve it :)
And btw, I think Tomb Raider 2013 lost it's crown as the best 3D experience I've ever had. Rise of the Tomb Raider is much better. So beautiful! Simply gorgeous in 3D. :D

the fact is most people will prefer to get the last update of the game.
it's a little sad you spent so much time to work on a fix which may not be used.
i was thinking about one thing, it should be a good idea to contact the persons of Square Enix who have worked on this patch to learn about the problems which havn't been fixed by Helixmod, IF their fix is better of course.

No goddamn way did they just do that.
That's awesome. But primarily, I'm sorry you've invested this much time and an effort into a 3D fix, only to have them fix it themselves. Regardless though, we're still all really appreciative of your work on this one!
Just tested, 3D is flawless (turn motion blur off)- same options as original tomb raider.
Still very much appreciate your efforts helifax.
If is as original Tomb Raider is not flawless as that one has flaws;) But it is a very good and solid implementation;)
Anyone tested to see if the Crosshair is at correct depth? or is it fixed depth? I could always transfer my code across;)
Also for the BLOOM you need the profile that I explained in the other thread.

That's the old nvidia rating. Probably will be updated in the next driver release. Wouldn't pay too much attention to it;)

Anyway I really appreciate your effort Helifax!
Well actually may be that they added that support just because people discussing it on the internet, and in these forums most of all!
Patch notes say: "adding stereoscopic 3D rendering. We know it was a favorite feature for many of our players on the previous Tomb Raider and based on your feedback we are bringing this to you now in Lara’s latest adventure. ".

It looks great, even the hair (I'm running SLI). The skybox is a bit off though (too low) and the lamp on the main menu seems to have cut off lighting, but thats all I could find wrong with the official 3D. Tried both 3DVision and thier default SBS. Far too big a performance hit for me though, so will more than likely play in 2D.
But big Kudos to Crystal Dynamics for adding 3D support after the fact. Thats got to be a first.
