Call for a forum ban
I call the little 3d gamer's community to ban this forum.

Do not post here anymore! except of debating where this community forum should move.

nVidia does not seem to care for you as a community.

Therefore nVidia does NOT deserve to hear your opinion whether it is a wish, a tip or a complaint.
The community should move somewhere else for maintenance and tips.

PS: Send my regards to the engineers that worked hard on developing 3d stereo drivers in the past. You deserve better managers.

They only look at the CUDA forums anyway. You can see them posting there.

Interesting... We all know that Stereo3D will prevail sometimes in the future.

Nvidia, your stock just dropped 40% within the last 3 months. Time to start thinking about the future.

Nvidia thinking about the future? NAW they only care for the present money!
This is probably the main cause for the NV4.dll!

Well, this forum is for stereo3d users (yes, mistaken myself a long time ago :"> ). However you can't deny the fact that nvidia once did start rolling the 3d-gaming boulder (or whatever some wants to call it. :) ). Hopefully there's enough of people recognizing stereo3d to keep it rolling. Also that some hardware manufacturers recognizing stereo3d as a phenomena is a good thing. In some way it might even be good that nvidia drops support for stereo-3d. Then others will see their oppurtunity to develope own ways to generate 3d. The only fault here would be that the advertizing of gaming in 3d absolutely has been nonexistent. It is an undeniable fact that 3d immediately catches interest and is a blast for almost everybody who sees it.

Think about it as it is today: To have decent 3d with nvidia drivers you need:

1: not a newer card than a 7950... no sli...

2: If you can run the newest stereobetas you won't have too much trouble running with multicore processors. The newest betas sometimes causes bad hardware recognizing thus resulting in anaglyph viewing only. Some tinkering with the cables or shifting back to 91.31 drivers solves this though but then no multicores...

3: you can't use an lcd-screen (well, maybe there is some lcd working.. )

4: more numbers and dots...

After this: Try to talk someone into stereo3d that may have ati card, multicore, vista, whatever more interfering... Actually the best 3d-machine can be bought cheap at a second hand market today. :P

However: I still have hope for a future in 3d. As i see it the phenomena 3d-gaming is still in the cradle. :P

cheers
