Dragon Age Inquisition

Same result for me. Very frustrating. I don't buy many AAA games but this one I really looked forward to. I did find that if you add the game to the Lords of the Fallen profile (ironically) it has less rendering issues, but it must still be run in non-SLI mode, and 3DMigoto will need a fair few decompiler updates as only about 25% of the shaders get decompiled correctly. The problem is that it is so uncertain if this game *can* be fixed that's it's too risky to put any effort into 3DMigoto at this stage, in case it's all a waste of time. Similarly, I am currently very frustrated with Lords of the Fallen as well, because that fix looks stellar (in my own humble opinion :-) but none of it matters when the driver randomly disables the 3D during the game, or when loading certain areas - so right now that was a heap load of effort (both myself and Helifax have done a large amount of debugging and investigation) with a very unsatisfactory end result.
I have spent some time reading various forums about Dragon Age: Inquisition and I found this post that appears to be from EA. EA talks about a hotfix and a temporary solution using a commandline in the game short cut as it relates to shaders http://answers.ea.com/t5/Dragon-Age-Inquisition/Patch-2-Graphics-Work-Around-TESTED/m-p/4101233#U4101233 I don't own the game and I was thinking about buying Lords of the Fallen, but from what I have been reading, all kinds of issues in 3D. Anyway, I thought I share the above link in case this helps any of you who own the game and since the posts mentions problems related to shaders, I thought this might help testing the 3D part.
Nice find, thanks, I'll try this tonight. I did notice after applying the patch that all the ice completely lost its shiny reflections - it all rendered perfectly for the first time, but looks like something from 2001. Unfortunately if it does "fix" it, it will go back to rendering incorrectly lol.

This game is so fucking amazing related to the storyline, so its hard to accept that 3D will not be "implemented" in the near future. THX for your hard work and stay tune to continue this if the crashes will (hopefully would!!!) be fixed. Never played a game with so much goosebumps coming up within the whole story, not only at the end !! Mass Effect did something like that but only at the end of a game, less while playing it but it was great...But DA:I is amazing in that point and there will be much more immersion, it will be much more impressive if we could play it in 3D !!!

However we were having big problems with the LIGHTS that are rendered in 1 eye as seen below:
(I had a couple of ideas why this might happen - but hard to test if the game doesn't loads the shaders properly in the first place -_-)

Ah, CM isnt the 3D i like, ... its better than 2D but there are strange halos around the objects and or characters which destroys the feeling, thats not an option for me.

Game is still guaranteed to crash regardless of what I am doing and usually in the first minute of play. no cutscenes, no loading map transitions just standard gameplay it will crash. These are hard crashes as well not just CTD's. I have to hard reset my computer..... I even changed the registry so 3d would not kick in at all at game start-up and used the alt-tab technique as well. At least game doesn't seem to be crashing anymore with 3d disabled after patch and surround works. I still think I will put this game at the end of the queue and hope something unfolds in the future

Unfortunately no such luck Helifax. Made the change and it still hard crashes if I attempt to open the Inventory screen. Seems fine with one card, but I'm not playing it means frequently sub 30fps and im loathe to hit it without 3d at this point.
