I use Windows 7 64bit, AMD X2 5800+, GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB. This is what I have found out till now:

it can't be caused by the OS as a clean reinstall of Vista 64bit didn't change anything but it even got worse!

cables have an influence (with my 10m HDMI and a long USB cable to the nvidia emitter games get out of sync from time to time and with a short one they dont't) as the problem gets a bit better but the out of sync issue with movies can't be solved completely.

in my case unplugging the second monitor doesn't change anything

it can't be caused by the movies/clips as the out of sync issue isn't reproduceable at at the exact same scene and everybody has different clips which get out of sync!

I think it can't be the Acer 5360 cause without glasses you don't recognize any colors anomaly on the screen
I will start a new thread now! Maybe more people will get onto this!

@JanOrZ : Thanks for the link.

Has anybody tried it with older version of drivers? It may be possible that it has something to do with the drivers.

Hey, guys. I was having the "video clips crash after 20 seconds" problem, too.

I bumped my RAM up from 2GB to 4GB. Problem solved.

This is one of the things that is reminding me how crappy the nvision player actually is. It crashes left, right and center :(

Hey there,

I have an Asus G51-J Notebook (Geforce GTX 260M), with an Acer 5630 beamer. I followed all the articles of this thread for the hope to find a solution for my 3dSync-Problem. I can't get through the test of Nivdia and I can't start any 3D-Application with my beamer as Monitor

My integrated Monitor works fine with all 3D-Apllications.

First of all I bought a 10 m and a 3m HDMI-Cable (both 1.3b) and its not working with one of them. I downloaded the latest Nvidia Driver for Asus-Notebooks from nvidia and nothing works at all. I just get this eror message when the 3d-Test fails:

Stereo Blit call copied only half of the image, as if it did not recognize
Nv_Stereo_Image_Header and performed a regular blit instead of stereo.

After that I activated 3d with my notebook monitor, changed my display from monitor to beamer and I made the Nvidia Preview test (3d Logo from Nvidia which is flying around) . Its working and looks awesome, but no 3D-Video or Game starts in 3D until the beamer is my main display. So what can I do, has anybody an idea or experienced the same problem... ?

Hi Guys,

I recently bought the following HDMI (v1.4) cable from Amazon.com for $9.99 and it solved my problems. Sync issues are not there anymore

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00356DFH6/ref=oss_product

May be that my old cable was not as good as I thought it would be. So I decided to gave a try to newer v1.4 hdmi cables.

So I hope this information will be useful to some of you guys.

Hi,
now it is getting ridiculess! With a HDMI Hub (only passive not active) things even got a bit better  I don't care any more, as long as the 3D Blu-Rays will work. Seems like the 3D Vision System is very sensitive for HDMI cables. Some people (in other forums, too) solved the problems with a new HDMI cable. But I think you just have to be lucky to find the right one!
So what your trying to tell us is to use the Old HDMI cables (1.2) and keep them as short as possible?
Im buying the H5360 soon, and the minimum distance from my Computer will be around 6-7 meters!! will i have sync issues??

W4RDY
Not sure if its too late but recently purchased the h5360 and tried to use a 10m sheilded cable on my panasonic blu-ray player and it wouldnt connect but think it was due to power issues.

What I would suggest and it works with everything I put to it , is to use a HDMI splitter for e.g output device 2 - 3 m cable => HDMI Splitter => cable to projector.

You can get a good HDMI splitter 3 inputs and 1 output 1.3v from aldi for £6.99 with remote.

Why why why whyyyyy?! With PowerDVD 10 massive ghosting with ervery DVD (converts it in 3D). As said before most of the HD trailers and games work perfect!!! Will order a new pair of 3D Vision glasses, I'm beginning to think that it could be caused by the glasses! But why only with DVD resolution!? Aaaaaaaah

I have about the same problem I think with my HD cable settop box from Telenet, I get perfect picture for 2 seconds then it says "processing signal,..." and cycles this for about 15minutes before the picture is stable. It then stays perfect for hours. In this setup NVidia is completely out of the loop so I'm starting to think this is an Acer problem. Even with a short 1m HDMI cable I have this problem. My Sony TV plays fine with this settop box and HDMI cable.

I'm tempted to try one of these HDMI switches to see if it solves my problem...

Hello,

When I rebuild my PC last year I added the NVIDIA 8800GTS and the 3d VISON. I hooked up the Acer 5360 projector by a HDMI cable (with dvi-HDMI converter)and all worked very well (cyberlink 10, games and photos).
Unfortunately I had to reïnstall Win7 64 bit (I got a Virus)!
A few weeks later more and more functions got lost. And I discovered that Windows didn't recognise the beamer anymore (only as an non-PnP screen), but strange enough, the NVIDIA software does.
After reïnstalling windows again, it did't change. So I bought a new HDMI cable (home theatre), but no luck here!.
To test if was a failure of my NVIDIA card, I hooked up another HDMI device and that one was recognised well.
So I think it is the HDMI port in the beamer, witch I'm gonna test this week By hooking it up to an laptop (sony vario)
to see if windows will see the beamer............

I also have Windows 7 64bit and only tried my H5360 on it. Windows does not recognize it but the Nvidia control panel does. That is all that matters. As long as Nvidia knows what it is, 3D will work.

So, should we buy and expensive v1.3 cable if its a 10m cable? Or should we buy a v1.4 cable? I still didnt get it...

Yeah, what kind of cables to people use to connect their projectors to their video cards? What's best?

I'm tentatively planning to connect my GTX580 to an Acer H5360 using an HDMI-to-HDMI cable like this.

Or, would a DVI-to-HDMI cable like this be a better option?
