Has anyone played The Witcher with Nvidia 3d Vison?
I have read that this game is very very limited by the cpu. I have a Q6600 OCD to 3.0 With 295 GTX. Does anyone have any information. This game looks great and says it's "Excellant" to play with 3d vision. What frame rates do you get?

No huge frame rate drops?? Looks good with 3d vision??? Worth the purchase??? I know you gave it a 9. Is that a 9 with 3d enabled?

i have Q6600 running at 3.0 , 9800gx2 and i really didnt see any frame drop. I know WOW is really bad when you talking about frame drop. I dont think the game is that great otherwise i probably still paying it tho.

Has anyone else tried this game? I think Knakknak enjoyed the game a little bit in 3d without frame drops. I can't tell if he still plays the game or not. It looks really fun watching youtube videos.

i heard the newer version of the game>> it's called the Enhanced version, should fix some of the bugs and make the game run smoother compare to the older version. So get that one if you are planning on playing it

It's breath taking in 3D. Make sure you get the free Enhanced Edition patch if you bought the older version.

It does look very pretty in 3D. And you have to register the Old edition on their site to download the Enhanced stuff (3'ish gigs of extra awesome - rewritten/performed dialogue, more quests, lots of bug and interface adjustments)

I just picked up a copy of Witcher Enhanced Version today and all I have to say is "WOW" This game is beautiful and no ghosting at all. Immersive, in depth and very fullfilling. I have to rate this as high as Left 4 Dead. It's a different type of experience. Nothing really jumps out at you, but it is a beautiful world with no ghosting. If you enjoy games like Oblivion, Look No Farther!!!! /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Witcher (Enhanced Edition) is excellent with 3D Vision, one of my 2 all time favorite games both in gameplay and S3D effect.

For some reason, the 3d effect in the witcher EE looks a lot deeper than other games (in a very good way).. but, cutscenes don't work well.

Shadows to medium, lighting to LOW to eliminate the atmospheric glitches, and play in OTS mode. Im playing through the game again, this time using a 360 controller and the game really feels like a totally different experience.

3d Looks best in OTS camera, here is a mod that lets you hide the interface, walk in ots mode, increase the OTS camera distance, and more (all features can be installed seperately via the installer, and the mod works with TW:EE)

The NVIDIA hint doesn't state this, but turn off "Field of Depth" for accurate 3D without double image. (FoD is that fish eye view)
