Hi all, just became one of the newest users of Nvidias 3D Vision, and just like everyone else here, I think it's amazing. I really think this is the future for gaming! I'm using the Samsung 2233RZ and glasses bundle, working on Vista Business 32-bit. I've set everything up how I'm supposed to from the manual, removing all drivers, then installing 182 graphics card driver, then the 1.07 stereo drivers all off the supplied CD. And at this point I can play some things and it all seems to be working okay.
The problem I'm having though, is how do I now update any of these drivers? I looked through the manuals but they don't mention anything, so I'm assuming I just get drivers from the nvidia site as normal. I've tried the standard installers for 186.16 and 185.85 and both of them have just caused my stereo settings in the control panel to break and crash when I try to change most things, or give various errors essentially saying it's not working correctly. The "Stereoscopic 3D display type" combo box has also turned blank and I can't fill anything in there. The only fix I found was to wipe it all and start from scratch.
I looked through the official 3D vision page which has a link to "the latest drivers", which takes me to the usual Nvidia drivers page. I look down a bit and there's a link to "Stereo 3D drivers", so I click that and.. oops, I'm back at the first page! So I'm struggling to get anywhere with it, and don't want to be stuck with incredibly out of date drivers!
If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it, I've read through the stickies on this board and looked through a few other posts, but I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to do!
EDIT: Ahh, so there's an option for it on the main drivers combo box, I didn't see that. I just assumed the big 3D link was the right one. Hopefully this will get me somewhere, so consider this thread closed for now. Thanks anyway!
