Looking for the best 3d vision 2 monitor .." Hopfully with shipping to Australia or here already"
Best 27" "probs need WQHD/2K for this size .. or will that be a pain to run games"
Best 24" "is 24" even worth it for 3D"
Best ultrawide 29" " or multiple since i'm most interested in Ultradwide 3D compared to everything else..does it even exist.. and any good?"
Best IDK" ... not really looking at 30" + sizes but maybe you'll suggest it
I'm used to IPS Ultrawide 2560 x 1080 .. so screen quality/colors is a must .. i bought a benq 24 3d monitor in 2015 or so and hated it. everything looked so washed out, Thank god it had a single dead pixel so i could return it
I heard some of the new certified for 3d vision 2 monitors are pretty bad for it, is this true? forgot the model .. the 24" 200+hz monitor that looks really ugly and orange
I dont care for Vr .. i'll be buying the HTC VIVE PRO soon but that doesn't play older games like Bishock 1/2 in 3D

There are multiple threads on this subject, replying to you would simply be redundant.

I'd recommend staying with 8.1, thus you avoid some of the headaches of forced updates. You can always Dual boot, if you want to use W10 and dx12.

He's referring to the LG 4K, if you can find one in your country, it's a good choice. But you did say you were looking for a monitor.
The 2016 65g6p!
Funny you mention that
I have the Lg OLED55C6T "55" is the max i can have in my corner living room" ..I'm paranoid the Curve makes the 3d worse ,i have to stand in the centre of the room where theres no couch to see the 3d the best .. but i can't find a used 55"-E6 ON Ebay in australia ..i'll buy it when someone lists it here, and get rid of this C6 "I also signed that Lg bring back 3D in 2018 petiton ... but its seems they didn't do listen to us, all for the fucking screen brightness for HDR.. my fucking screen was to bright already i had to turn it down"
Also the passive 3D goes "Inwards" not outwards .. its kinda why i'm gonna try 3D vision 2 for my games
being in Austrlia makes my life so fu-king hard .. now i have to order from Ebay for my monitor.. ASUS replied to me "on FB and there website" and said they dont plan to stock it "ever" or i buy the 24 version, but after being with ultrawide for so long.. don't think thats gonna work lol
and yeah i'll probs stay with 8.1 until Microsft puts Halo 1/2/3 on the Windows store
edit: found it cheap on a website called Kogan with free shipping, so i think thats what i'll go for, not a store but this is good enough

You can swap eyes by editing Nvidia's registry settings.
3D Fix manager and Advanced 3D Vision Configuration both have the feature to do so.
One slight caveat, you must lock the registry, so that the settings do not revert.

Somehow I have a feeling you misconceive your 3d endeavor.
Your C6 is One of THE best choices you can have for 3d. The curvness absolutely doesn’t make 3d worse.
Maybe the opposite. If you sit close enough it warps you and intensify your immersive experience.
When you say that the passive 3d goes “inward” I think there are couple of things you can try:
1. What d-man suggested about eye swap.
2. Maybe I’m wrong but I have a feeling you aren’t utilizing the convergence feature. If you want the
3d to be more “outward” you should use the ctrl + F6 to rise the convergence a bit and to increase the pop out effect a little more.
Do you have edid override? If you don’t you should have it to be able to play games in high resolution.

Just to add that one of the 4K OLED TVs can indeed be the very absolute best choice in 3D gaming ...
but also the absolute worst!
Depending on your luck with at the "pattern retarder filter" lottery.
When I hear that you need to sit in a very specific spot of the livingroom to see good 3D, it triggers very bad memories of having had to change like 4-5 TVs before I got a good one.
The rabbit test should clarify it this is the case
I think I used this one to evaluate the filter of my TVs

What about response time?
I seem to recall one of our posters testing several curved 4Ks and finding that each had unacceptable lag for gaming. So a flat panel 4K was ultimately purchased.
Also keep in mind, video playback is treated "differently" than game rendering. So the above video is good for general testing, but in-game settings will likely differ, depending on the display and it's settings.

Motion blur reduction is also an important feature that all 3D Vision 2 monitors have (Lightboost). The LG 4K TVs (at least the most popular one) have full 60Hz persistence. Before being a 3D nut I was a motion blur nut, and anything over 2ms persistence is bad for my taste (60Hz persistence without strobing is 16.667ms).
The Asus PG278QR and Dell S2716DG don't have real strobe length settings in 3D and you are forced to have ~2ms of persistence (equivalent of Lightboost 100%), instead of the 1.4ms of previous non G-Sync monitors (Lightboost 10%). That's pushing it for me, but the higher resolution and real 8 bit colors put the PG278QR over my old BenQ XL2411Z.
