Glasses blink every 10-15 secs
All times I'm playing, the glasses blink in one eye or other a clear view, like it's turned off...

So, uh that means they are out of sync?

Running it on a 295gx and a Samsung 2233rz.

And yeah lots of ghosts... I know it's not supported, but playing EVE is like asking for a technicolor yawn!

Do you have rivatuner or evga precision? If so, make them dead.

Sweet, I was also having this problem happen randomly and I wasn't sure why... I was able to mimic the problem and then notice the fix with your suggestion.. thx man!

No problem, I'm glad it fixed. That flashing thing is so damned annoying. I thought I was going to have to return it and wait for the bugs to be worked out.

I assumed that was telling you the battery is nearly dead, I could be wrong.

No, it's the first hour of the very fist charge, so if it's dead already I'm bombing nvidia headquarters :P

EDIT: And here we go, the guilty is EVGA Precision! no more blinking!

thank you guys, next round on me!

I'll hold you to that. /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

That blinking is just maddening though. I thought I was going to go insane when I couldn't get it to stop. >.<

I have EVGA Precision version 1.8 installed in my PC, I've always had it. I had white flashing problems with driver 1.10, but it has gone away after I installed drivers 1.11. I thought it was a driver related issue and not EVGA's fault.

Well, If I start having this problem again and uninstalling EVGA Precision fixes the bug what other software can I use to monitor my VGA's? I really don't trust auto fan while gaming, I always like to manually set the VGA's fan to 100% so I don't suffer from glitches cause of hot GPU's.

These last weeks I haven't suffered from white flashes I hope it stays that way, this bug is definatelly annoying and sometimes it can make the 3D experience unplayable.

maybe it's not EVGA Precision that causes the WF, but the GPU overclocking. Maybe if we set the GPU's to stock speed than EVGA or Riva might not be an issue. Why would the program itself affect the 3D performance?? I'm leaving both of mine GTX 280's in stock speed cause it's already factory overclocked so better not mess with that now that 3D takes an extra effort out of my cards.

I've tried Riva Tuner, EVGA Precision for fan controlled but nothing works as well or as easily when I want to create a fan profile as Ntune System Tool 6.05.

Within the "Device settings" tab I can set up overclocking parameters and fan profile for each GPU, these settings can be stored in "profile" files. The clocking parameters and done with slider and the fan profile are done slickily with interactive (graphical) curves.

Within the "Profile policies" tab I then can easily create various conditioned loading cases for various profiles, in my case, at Windows start up I load the factory clock settings with a better fan profile than default, RPM varies linearly with temperature up to 80[sup]o[/sup] C , so if the card temp is at 50[sup]o[/sup] C the fan runs at 50% of its RPM capacity, up to 80[sup]o[/sup]C. Pass 80 and the fan goes to max. However the tool automatically loads a overclocking version for the GPU as well as fan profiles whenever a game (in a list) is invoked.

I don't even have a Nvidia motherboard but I install this system tool for this feature. Try out, you will like it. There are 3 apps in this tool, I installed only System Performance tool and System monitor for this purpose. I believe the System monitor is necessary since it gives temp readings for the Performance tool to create profiles for fans (fan speed vs temp) however if you don't want to install it for some reason you may try without it to see whether it works.

I use EVGA precision and I have no flashes at all. The only time I had flashes was when I had gpu-z and realtemp running in the background.
