The Acer Predator XR341CK is a 34" curved ultra-wide screen with 3440 x 1440, 144Hz refresh rate and G-sync , no mention of 3D but the specs haven't been finalized yet. There's also mention that it will be available in a non g-sync version.

Fingers crossed it will be 3DV compatible and have ULMB (low persistence mode).
If only we could have something like this, with 3D and LP, but based on OLED screen.
One can dream ;)
That second version of G-Sync module might change something in case of 3D support. Actually that 144hz makes me feel like this is 3D Vision Ready screen. Fingers crossed.
I`ll still hold back for a while - not sure how this whole wide angle will work. Recently gave up on my ROG Swift and went back to old one and now it looks like this one is gonna mess up with your resolution/aspect ratio as well.
How many games actually support this ?

Angle will work great with 3D when playing from a really close distance.
I just played Grid:Autosport in 3D on my 24" 1080p monitor, having only 30cm between my eyes and the screen.
It turns on the head movement, similar to the thing I noticed I'm doing when playing in VR on Oculus Rift DK2.
Greatly helps the immersion.
Just that flat screen. It should be rounded. 1440p? wider (3440 instead of 2560)? That would be superb :D
The thing is - TN is the only LCD acceptable for me. I can't stand the blur, I need to have low persistence mode (ULMB/BRB/Lightboost etc.). And TN has really bad viewing angles, so there's 99% chance it's not a TN, and if is not, then it could be even 50" 8K, and I still wouldn't be interested to switch from my 1080p flat Benq.
The OLEDs are the answer.

I hope games will read Resolution instead of messing with Aspect Ratio.
I`m going to wait for some of you to give it a try before I decide to buy it. Had too much troubles with the Swift and now I had to sell it loosing at least £200.
Also I don`t think that even future single 980ti will manage with this Res in 3D on full (but if I`m wrong I`ll be sick again).

A few weeks ago Acer also announced a 27 inch monitor that would be using ISP technology. The XB270HU will have a 2560x1440 resolution g-sync and 144Hz capaibility. No mention of 3D with this one either.

Don't get your hopes up. Generally speaking the games are stupid about everything that doesn't match console gaming, including resolution and aspect ratio. Go to the http://www.wsgf.org/ and look at how often they drop the ball. The unusual 21:9 aspect ratio is going to cause a fair amount of problems.

Yea... 21:9 is going to be a huge pain in the ass for a lot of titles.
TBH, I don't see anything above 1440P @ 60hz as realistic cause of lack of SLI support.
What do you do when games have no sli support/crazy issues?
You would seriously only be playing 1 out of 4 games or waiting 1/2 years before GPUs catch up to game graphics for single GPU.
Not to mention GSYNC does nothing for SLI stutter.[It might make it seem less noticeable since game stutter is gone but not sli stutter in titles where its prevalent.]
----------------
Having to worry about resolution compatibility THEN
Having to worry about performance
Just makes it totally undesirable.

Im gaming on the curved LG 34 " 3440 x 1440 right now, relevant system specs:
intel 5960x and 2 x EVGA GTX 980 SLI
The games look gorgeous and I was able to max out most games back when I only had 1 GTX 980 (I added in the second card for Star Citizen / Arena Commander, that game is a system hog).
Support for 3440 x 1440 is included in all modern titles and there is a program called 'flawless widescreen' (you can google) that fixes the other 5%. Every single game I play supports it just fine. Off the top of my head, I have played ALL the following games on my LG 34 " 3440 x 1440 / 60 hz and all played and looked with just a single GTX 980 (again, I added the second 980 recently just for Star Citizen):
Far Cry 4, Fallout New Vegas (requires simple *.ini edit), Elite Dangerous, Star Citizen, GTA V will support it, WarGame Red Dragon, Dying Light, Guild Wars 2, Arma 3, Wasteland 2, the Metro series, Men of War Series, BF4, Titanfall, Sim City (the newest one), Star Trek Online, Eve, Company of Heroes 1 and 2, WarThunder, Wolfenstein New World Order, various Call of Dutys, etc.
The only games I have tried so far that fail at 3440 x 1440 are World Of Tanks and Red Orchestra. Both really need to be played at 2560 x 1440 , and so you have a vertical black bar on each side of the screen, which is not ideal but not game breaking. And again, all the other titles I listed had native 3440 x 1440 support.
I am going to jump on this Predator if it turns out to actually be 3440 x 1440 at anything > than 60 hz, g-sync or not. I can tell you from personal experience, I also tried out an Asus PG278Q with my 980 SLI system. The speed was AMAZING. You literally can see it in something as simple as dragging the mouse cursor across the screen. Its like it is a freaking laser beam. BUT I ended up not being able to live with the small size of it. 27" 2560 x 1440 is freaking tiny after coming from the Starship Enterprise width of 34" 3440 x 1440.
There are a lot of high end gamers waiting for this Acer, if it turns out to be real.

TFT Central released a detailed review last month of the Acer XR341CK on such things as specifications, response time and Free Sync/Gsync comparisons.
http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/acer_xr341ck.htm
EDIT: BTW it shows that it supports HDMI 1.4/2.0 in the specs and a pic of the OSD.
So it will be capable of at least 3D Video with an Nvidia GPU.
AMD has supported HDMI 2.0 with HD3D and/or TriDef since their Radeon 7970.
While Nvidia's 9XX Gpus support HDMI 2.0, their stereoscopic drivers only will using unofficial work arounds.
EDIT: AFAIK if they state that they are HDMI 1.4 compliant they must support the mandatory 3D formats listed in the specifications for 1.4.
