which 3d tv is best for nvidia 3d vision support?
I am interested to buy me new 3d tv and I will be using it for watching movie, play console games and possibly pc games on it. I am gonna put my 3d tv right next to my pc. I already have acer hn274h 3d monitor and been using it for 3d stereoscopic gaming. My pc set up is i7 2600k + gtx 580 sli. So far, I did some study on 3d tv and there are 2 types of 3d tvs. active and passive. active 3d is more like nvidia 3d vision that uses battery powered shutter glasses and it gets higher depth and sharpness while passive 3d is like the ones in theatre that don't require expensive battery powered glass but loses detail and sharpness that active 3d has to offer. I am debating pretty hard between these two. Which is better to get? I've seen supported 3d tv for nvidia 3d vision page but none of recent toshiba, samsung, lg etc brand are listed there. Will any active 3d tv will work with nvidia 3d vision? Will active 3d tv work with 3d vision, ps3, xbox 360? I couldn't find answer for this. I was gonna get passive 3d tv but since it uses different technology I doubt it would work with nvidia card or 3d vision. I don't even know that would work with ps3 etc console game or 3d stereoscopic mode for pc games. Is active 3d tv better choice for me? Give me some opinions and tips plz.

Panasonic and Nvidia are partners so 3d vision is working flawlesly whit it. I heard it's not the case whit Sony or Samsumg tvs. Also Panasonic are doing nothing but plasma. PLasma has always been better than LCD in every department except the fact that there's image retention and it can cause burn-in if a fix image is there for too long. Like WAY too long. DEL tv's have really close the gap in term of quality and is now almost as good as plasma.

I have the vt25 model and it's amazing! The tv is even certified THX and have a contrast ratio of 5 000 000/1. I know Panasonic have released 1 or 2 newer model so i think you can have it at a good price now.
