3D Vision VESA cable
  4 / 7
The male VESA mini 3 DIN plug is impossible to buy on the net.
If You go to the german ebay: www.ebay.de You can find some "kabelloss ELSA 3D Revalator shutters" with the same VESA plug.

I originally contacted nVidia customer support on the 23rd of September (quoting Andrew's offer in this thread) and was told that the cable would be sent out to me immediately. I then didn't hear anything for ages so I contacted them again on the 27th of November and I finally received the VESA cable a few days ago (but not the DVI to HDMI one which is also missing from the European box). So it may have taken two and a half months but at least I now have almost all the components I paid for (and which any American gets from day one).
Cheers,
DD

Freke, since you seem to be german based: you can get it easily at Reichelt for a mere 60cent (make sure you add some to the order to justify shipment ;) or Conrad (1,35 EUR here - whatever suits you best.
all others should be able to source it at DigiKey, Farrnell, RS.... just look for "mini DIN 3pin" ...

I know there is some confusion over this cable, but we didnt include it on purpose with the European SKUs of 3D Vision. The reason why we didnt include it was that 3D Vision was primarily a consumer product and the VESA cable is for DLPs only.

In retrospect, there are a lot of 3D Vision Quadro users that really want that cable.

I have been waiting a month for the cable now. It's frustrating because the support person doesn't reply to me - they said it was escalated to level 2 support and since then I haven't got any kind of response. They won't even tell me if it has been shipped out yet. I've had this 3d vision system since before Thanksgiving. This will be the second vacation I had intended to spend playing 3d games on my Mitsubishi 3d ready DLP. Luckily I have a Nuvision system that works but the NVIDIA driver overlays a big red message that says "VESA Sync cable unplugged or TV not in 3d mode" over the bottom of the screen. Games are playable but it's really annoying. I wish I could just get rid of that message and I would use my Nuvision 3d emitter with the NVIDIA driver. Then I wouldn't have to buy 4 new pairs of glasses which is just a redundant investment for me. Now even if I get the cable I'm faced with the prospect of building a "splitter" so I can drive two emitters from a single sync port just so I can use my 4 pairs of Nuvision glasses that I have $900 invested in without a big red message on the screen. =P

Andrew, I am in the US. I bought my 3d Vision Kit on Amazon. I have followed your instructions and the instructions from support to the letter. I am still waiting for the cable and I have not received a response from anyone in over a month. WTF.

That's not true, the VESA cable is also used for Samsungs 3D-ready plasma HDTVs, which are sold in Europe! Luckily I got my VESA cable from nVidia after a support request for free.

I registered because i have the same problem:( I bought a new TV only for 3D Vision. Bought the 3D Vision Kit and contacted the Support. Everything seems to went good and i was very happy how incomplex everything was. Then the support wrote me after 3 Messages that the case will be redirected to the relevant department. And from this time i never heard anything more from NVIDIA. I wrote the support again and also there is no response :( I paid nearly 1000 Euro for the TV and the 3D Vision and can`t use it and NVIDIA didn`t cares :( The German 3D Vision Page on the NVIDIA website also says that the DVI to HDMI Cable and the VESA cable is included :( How did you get your cable Nobsi? I´m very disappointed and annoyed about NVIDIA`s practices...

Sorry for my bad englisch

If only they had informed me I could have returned the product immediately. Now it's way too late. Thanks NVIDIA. This was expensive too.

I opened a support case and refered to this thread. But obviously I only had much luck.

What is rediculous though is that the WEB site and even the 3D vision package states that the cables are included!

I asked a friend who is working at Technotrend, he make me this cable. Its unbelievable what NVIDIA is doing. Andrew said we should write the support. The support is friendly and helpful. But when i registered my 3D Vision Kit they gave the case to another department and nothing more happens. That is not very kind :(

Just to be sure... what are the right connections for the VESA Cable?

There are 3 different Verrsions in this Thread wich one is the right one?

a.)

1 -> C
2 -> B
3 -> A

b.)

A - 2
B - 3
C - 1

I thank everyone who can help me :)

And btw. i`m so disappointed about NVIDIA that i plan not to buy another Product from them...
