Just finished the Single Player Campaign;) and MAN what a RIDE;) Really awesome executed and full of thrill;)
I just wish there was more to the SP component;)
Maybe in the future DICE will add MORE WAR STORIES! Really awesome Single Player;) I recommend this game only for the SP Component alone;)

Thanks. Done. Review posted while Origin is downloading BF1 ;-)
Update: I've played BF1 on 3D Vision for 30min. For higher immersion I've increased the FOV, the 3D convergence for the tank and I've disabled the GUI elements (console: ui.drawenable 0). Guys I'm speechless! An absolutely mind-blowing 3D experience. WOW! BF1+3D Vision/helixdmod is a must-have!!! WOW WOW WOW!!! The next days I will try to play BF1 on my VR headset as well. I think 3D z-adaptive should work (VorpX).

The fix works great. It looks fantastic especially the third Person view with tanks.
I set the Convergence very high for the tanks. ( 8,5 in the .ini P-Key) Thats awesome!
One of the best 3d Vision experience ever.
Thank you very much!
But one Question. I don't like to play with the crosshair. It breaks the immersion of the game for me. Any chance to hide the crosshair ? There is only an option for the Color. I guess the Hub and the Crosshair are the same Object :(
Yesterday i play without Hub. Its ok, but some informations from the Hub are good to know.

Yeah the crosshair is controlled by the same vertex shader:-s
I guess we could go in a bit deeper and find the texture hash for it and try do disable it from there. Problem is... there is more than one crosshair:-s (different weapons uses different crosshairs...so :-s)
If anyone wants to develop more on this fix, please let me know and I can give my assistance;) I didn't focus a lot on the HUD/UI, but I tried to make it workable in 3D;) If I find anything else in the future related to the UI, I'll update the fix ;)

I would like to know what needs to be done to save my desired convergence for aiming and tank/plane mode. I am using the Elite XBox One controller and I can cycle through the convergence-presets while aiming by using the keyboard's C/P keys but convergence always resets when I leave aiming mode. So when aiming again convergence is always reset to the default value which is basically extremely low. What can I do to save my convergence settings while in aiming mode? Guess this has to be set in the ini-file but I am not sure which line I should modify and how I should modifiy it.

In the ini file look for the key bindings. Just modify the value for "convergence=" Don't modify any of the other params! Or it will break the HUD/UI, etc
There are comments on what each key does ;)

So I guess the relevant section is this here:
[Key_FirstP_Convergence]
Key = XB_LEFT_THUMB
; 0.2 is rifle mode
; 0.1 is TANK interior mode
convergence = 0.1, 0.2
z = 1.0 ; DO NOT MODIFY
type = cycle
transition = 250
transition_type = linear
It seems there is something that I just don't get...or misunderstood completely!
As you can see I already assigned the convergence-cycle to the left thumbstick of my XBox-pad. Now when aiming I need to press the left thumbstick 2 times to get my desired aiming-convergence for aiming while on foot. In the heat of the battle this is not very helpful obviously. So if I modify that line like that
convergence = 0.2
I still don't get the desired convergence while aiming. I get rid of the 0.1-convergence-step so I need to press the assigned convergence-cycle-button only once to get my desired convergence setting but aiming always starts with something that looks like convergence = 0. So where is the ini-line that determines the default convergence-value when aiming (I am not speaking of the preset-convergence settings that can only be activated by pressing the corresponding cycle-button but the convergence-value that is automatically applied as soon as I press the aiming button).
Also, am I right that you can't assign a set-convergence value for first-person aiming while on foot and another set value for a scenario like tank-aiming? Looking at the ini it seems that both scenarios relate to the same convergence-value so the only option would be that cycle-mechanism where you could set convergence for one scenario but you have to press the cycle button in the other scenario if you want a convergence-value that is different from the other scenario (first person aiming while on foot/first person aiming while in tank).
To cut it short:
1. Where is the ini-line where I can set the default convergence-value for aiming.
2. Is it possible to get a specific convergence value when the aim-button is pressed (with no need to cycle through various options) while on foot and at the same time to get a different specific set convergence value when the aim button is set in another scenario like first person aiming with a tank?

All I get is a black screen on startup. :(
Sometimes it freezes with a pong like bat on the top right and bottom left of a black screen.
Sometimes just a black screen.
I'm using a Panasonic PTAT6000E projector.
I set my resolution to 720p 3D in windows before launching the game.
