Seeing stuff infront of the monitor?
The last time I had my setup working with 3d I could see the nvidia test logo rotate and appear in front of the monitor but games looked as if they were 'in' the monitor.

Can you get effects in games so objects look like they are in front of the monitor (the more impressive 3d effect IMHO)

Yes you can!

Right click anywhere on your desktop.
NVIDIA Control Panel > Set up stereoscopic 3D > Set Keyboard Shortcuts > Check Show advanced in-game settings

Set the keys how you see fit. I ues my numpad to handle all of my 3D keys.

Convergence is the "popping out" effect.
Depth is the "looking into" effect.

My key setup is as follows:

NUM 0 = Toggle 3D
NUM . = Show/Hide compatibility
NUM 1 = Save Config
Num 4 = Cycle Frustum
Num 5 = Decrease Depth
Num 6 = Increase Depth
Num 7 = Show/Hide Sight
Num 8 = Decrease Convergence
Num 9 = Increase Convergence

Play around with the settings in-game untill you find the one that you enjoy best :) hope this helps
