Those issues are fixed with the last update.
OR
you can upload your savegame here and i can take a look.
@Mooko0124
If you're using SLI try disabling.
Also if you're using a resolution that produce an aspect ratio different from 16:9, read the notes in the blog.
@didierh
Great!...if you still have some issue with some weapons, upload your savegame and i take a look.
Hello, when I run the game, I see the black blocks on the surfaces of buildings, and when I stop they disappear
unfortunately, the fix doesnt work properly for SLI users
@Alexandriys
Maybe the issue is related to win8.1.....try using the Flugan's wrapper version
https://s3.amazonaws.com/dhr/Dying.Light.3Dfix.Flugan_Wrapper.zip
remember unistall the previous fix, using the uninstall.bat file.
@Alexandryis: That sounds like Ambient Occlusion to me, you could also try turning it off in the settings.
@mistervin: SLI works fine for me here, not perfect, but fine. I don't see black blocks on the buildings. The only moderately serious glitch I see with SLI is reflections off water puddles are in one eye.

Here is one of those weird coincidences that make you go, huh?
In this game, the main evil guy is Rais. It turns out that a guy I went to college with (now an actor) is the voice actor and motion capture actor for Rais. Funny!

Not yet, but should be up today.
Dying Light will be a prime candidate on my list for testing as I already did some good measurements earlier in this thread, and I'm keenly interested in whether Quad helps this game. SLI 760 was a lot better, and scaled some, but was still at the edge of unplayable by being too slow.

This is very strange. I'm using game version 1.6, nvidia driver 353.06, singe gpu, I play at 1920x1080.
If I use this fix with the default settings, all the shadows are shifted to the right. If I change the shadow correction value in d3dx.ini to 0.0, the shadows are aligned correctly.

Are you sure you are not running the game in Compatibility Mode ?:)

Well... the 3D didn't seem fake. If it was, then it was very convincing. There wasn't anything on the helixmod site instructing about compatibility mode. How can I be sure what mode I'm using?
