Notebook not showing "Stereoscopic 3D" option in the NVIDIA Control Panel with R275.33

Hi,
I am having a very similar problem, but mine sets on rather early: No matter what driver release I try to install, I never get a checkbox to install 3D Vision. PhysX, Audio etc is all there, just no 3D Vision.
1) Medion Erazer X6819
2) Windows 7 64 bit
3) GTX 570M
4) No driver ever offered to install 3D Vision

What display are you trying to enable 3D Vision on?
I know I read somewhere that notebook manufacturers do not enable 3D Vision/Discover due to power and heat concerns.
Maybe you can do a force install?
If you look at the top right of this webpage, it says "support". Have you tried that option?
Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I am trying to enable 3D on a Panasonic TX P50VT50e.
My Notebook was advertised to work with 3D Vision. So it should work.
Force Install would be a last resort. I would prefer to get it going the "clean" way.
No luck so far in the support section. I felt like this threat was a good place to start.

So you are saying that when you are installing the drivers and get to the installion options pop up, you are not seeing an option for checking a box to install 3D Vision?
Like the picture in this article http://3dvision-blog.com/3409-geforce-gts-450-and-new-beta-driver-260-52-are-available/
I'm pretty sure that is what you are saying.
First, that TV will not work with 3D Vision
Second, HDMI 1.4 compliant 3D HDTVs are supported via 3DTV Play over a HDMI connection only.
Third, that Model is not on the supported list http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-system-requirements.html
Fourth, you'll need to follow these instructions to get it added http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2774
Fifth, 3DTV Play costs $40 or is free if you have a 3D Vision emitter connected. (there's a free trial)
BUT!!!.................none of this matters if you can not install the 3D Vision driver which also contains the drivers for 3DTV Play.
As far as I know, when you install the trial, it is just an activator and does not include the necessary stereographic drivers.
So you are saying that when you are installing the drivers and get to the installion options pop up, you are not seeing an option for checking a box to install 3D Vision?
Does the CPU have integrated graphics? If so, can you disable it?
What shows up in device manager? Is the 570M listed?
The Nvidia product page indeeds shows that the 570M is supported.

Has anyone got the 3D live to work on the Asus G75v W 17" 3D?
I could not get the 3d to work and there were a lot of driver issues, after two days of trying I gave up. I updated everything and the nvidia control panel never got updated. Asus the technicians seemed worthless and were not much help. The Asus technician did say that their top of the line computer only showed dvds and games in 3D, not 3d off the internet. I thought they were just idiots. J&R was unable to get the computer work so I returned it.
I bought the same computer from Best-buy and the geek-squad has had it for two days now and is not able to get any 3d off the nvidia 3D live page to work. The geek-squad was able to get the correct nvidia control panel to work. But it does not show 3D off the internet yet.
I now think that Asus tech might have been right, that their top-of-the-line computer is a limited 3D machine.
I will post more after the geek-squads third day of trying to get the 3d to work properly.

same problem here, i did not read the whole topic by the way, is there any workarpound ?
i've just installed the latest drivers today.
i wanted to use 3d on an external tv. the only way was to install the 3dtvplay enabler so i was able to do the configuration.
also i have connected the emitter as i have it on my tower but it still says that is on evaluation.
maybe a registry hack or something to enable the 3dvision menu ?
thanks
my laptop is Vaio F Series (2011) with nvidia gt330 and corei7 870
model vpcf11c5e

That notebook uses the evil Optimus technology, so you are probably hosed.
