AA solutions?
I played around this morning with Downsampling and found a custom resolution that gives the best results I achieved so far with Downsample or DSR on my Benq w1300 2240x1260 @120HZ I am using a edid I custom built because the Acer H5360 edid was somehow messing up my color calibration. PS: I didn't put the resolution in the Edid, If you want to try it you need to create a Custom res.
Thanks and sorry for late reply, i had kind of given up on this, its seems really difficult to get any of these solutions to work to be honest. How do you get 3D vision to accept this non-3D mode then? I now have 2240x1260 res available in the game (alien isolation). Edit: with this EDID it no longer accepts 1280x720, still get red text saying its not an acceptable mode for 3D.. checked the hz and it says 120hz, so thats not the issue. I restarted the computer after doing the EDID change, also ran the restartx64.exe.. Edtit 2: removed the above EDID.. tried DSR instead again, those resolutions dont show up (unplugged cable to monitor too). They show up fine if i instead use the monitor. I really don't understand how DSR can get disabled for certain displays since its not resolutions in the normal sense..

@Vurt72 Install Edid make sure you have only 1280x720 @60hz as resolution option (otherwise it would jump to 1280x720@120Hz and you get the red text Remove cable from monitor, leave projector on Restart graphic driver, or restart pc with only projector connected After this you should be able to select DSR resolutions on your projector Hope this helps a bit

That's what i did. Edit: no it wasnt, i actually had 1280x720 120hz as the only resolution. Should this be in "detailed resolutions" or in the "standard resolutions" slot, or in both? Edit 2: i cant seem to edit out that it's capable of 120Hz, 120Hz will always be an option for the projector it seems (in windows).. Alien Isolation directly switches to 119Hz when it start it (standard res i fixed to 1280x720,60Hz, no othere resolutions available in CRU). I ran restart64.exe.. restarted computer, took out cable from monitor. Pic of my CRU settings: http://piclair.com/data/k6rub.jpg

For GTAV I use FXAA and turn all the other crap off. Then I use Nvidia DSR 1440P resolution in 3D. On a GTX 1080 its damn near the same performance hit as MSAA/TXAA options in GTAV.

If you use this one you cannot use 60HZ and 3Dtvplay but instead you use it similar to a CRT display. But you need to own 3Dvision pyramid.

Well this is fine and dandy for people who use a single proj/Monitor solution but these options are not available to surround users.. So besides dwonsampling and DSR what are some good AA Methods, is it better to use ingame AA or NCP AA??

@Vurt Did you tried already a edid override of a other Projector? Because if it says it is a Benq then you probably need a other EDID. I know I had a huge hassle with it to get DSR working Need to search where i got the Acer edid from (wil post it here for you) @The Nephilim For Dx9 games , I suggest using the Tool Gedasato can do a whole lotta stuff including downsampling from ridicilous resolutions

I'm running CRU for EDID overrides. Not sure if i need to do something more than that?

Thanks! What's CCU though, did you mean CRU? EDIT: ok imported it with CRU.. no, this one is really strange, it gives me top and bottom screens if i start Alien Isolation, it does not go away if i exit the game.. also syncing my projector for 3D Vision no longer is available in the Projector 3D options..
