Massive framedrop with only 3Dvision enabled in NVCP

Question for the 'G' man here !...
Why is it that when you only enable 3Dvision in the NVCP you get some massive framedops in games even tho you dont actually activate 3Dvision in it?
Tested it out with Just Cause 2 and WoW
In Just Cause 2 Patch 1.0.02 : (playing @ 6070x1080, 2xAA, 16xAF, All High/on, SSAO off)
With 3Dvision enabled in NVCP = ~30/40fps
With 3Dvision disabled in NVCP = ~60/70fps
Because activating 3DVision will always force VSync, whether you actually use S3D in games or not.
The reason for this is that you cannot force VSync on the fly. So to be able to use a hotkey to switch the 3D effect, you have to force VSync from the beginning.

Makes sense, but in almost every game i use V-sync (mostly via the ingame options)the same counts for JC2, so when having 3DVision disabled the game is still vsyncd via the ingame option but it runs so much better.
Thus forcing Vsync via the NVCP takes a huge performance hit.
Gonna test if when i manually force V-sync via the NVCP i get the same performace hit when i have 3DVision enabled via the NVCP.
If thats the cause this should be looked into ..
