You guys ROCK!!! Cannot thank you enough!
The issue was indeed caused by the EDID and ZIG's workaround fixed it completely! I had no idea that this color-bug had way more impact on the overall visuals than just fire effects appearing blue. Just an example: the complete Brass Armor Set had a blue tint. Now that I see the difference I come to realize that the whole game's visuals were affected by this bug.
Thanks alot guys!

Was the solution control + f11? And what about the alt-tab, can you also correct the bug by alt tabbing in and out of the game? I tried the f11 frustum adjustment a while back but it stretches the image. Annoys the hell out of me.

With Dark Souls games I think Alt-tabbing corrects the color bug with GTA 5 the only way to correct the problem is Ctrl-F11.
The way to tell is the Namco logo should be orange if the color bug is corrected.
I first tried the Control+F11 keys but somehow my XBox Elite Controller became unresponsive after that. Tried Alt+Tab and everything worked like a charm!

A new patch has been released in anticipation of the DLC being released on Monday.
Lots of issues fixed

The last DLC is also out for some days now!
I didn't had the chance to even start-up the game and see it;) But, I believe the fix still stands;)
And from what I've seen it should be an epic adventure!
Can anyone confirm the latest DLC still works?

Recent Miyazaki tweets
Hidetaka Miyazaki: Dark Souls series is completely done as of DS3: The Ringed City. At least for now we don't have any future plans for it.
Miyazaki: I dont think I've implemented all I wanted. Each Dark Souls games have their own mistakes but I think overall its a blessed series
Miyazaki: Currently working on a number of games that should be interesting. We're not concerned about whether they resemble DS or not.
Guy had a track record of just doing whatever the hell he want's, I love this series and looking forward to wrapping it up but a part of me hopes they just leave it as the classic series it is and not return to it.

The Fire Fades GOTY edition only exists as physical version, for 44.90€ where I live. I was expecting it to arrive on Steam and Greenmangaming (with a slight discount), but it looks like it won't.
