I wanted to post an update to this thread. Another user on these forums did post his results and Quad SLI does appear to be working. If anyone is having problems, I would like to have everyone who is saying Quad SLI isnt working, help us fill out this table for any app you have.

Quad SLI on DX9 ? fps ? fps
Quad SLI off DX9 ? fps ? fps
Quad SLI on DX10 ? fps ? fps

Andrew i can gaurantee u that quad sli is not working. It does however work with DX 10 titles such as RE5, GOW, DMC4, FC2, etc. But play any of the titles mentioned above in DX9 and the fps go from a constant 60 down to 30 odd. More importantly when quad sli is working the temps on all 4 gpus are consistent, give or take 5 degrees. When running a DX9 game, the gpu temps on card 1 hit in the 90's (100% fan speed) and the other card hovers at around 50 degrees. The performance also on DX9 titles leave alot to be desired.
Also the sli visual indicator will not come on in any DX9 title, only DX10 titles.
Andrew please test what i have mentioned above and see for yourself. I dont know why but the drivers are only utilising quad sli when its a DX10 title.
Cmon nvidia you need to fix this issue, it is getting beyond the joke. QUAD SLI CURRNTLY DOES NOT WORK WITH 3D VISION!!!

Another oddity is that when I turn on a game like Crysis (DX 10) with 3D vision enabled the Quad SLI bar is there but the green level does not fill the whole bar, indicating that SLI isn't doing much. With 3D vision off, the green level fills the whole bar.

Did anyone found a short term fix to this?
It's really annoying.
I found out about this issue when I run 3D Vantage and Furmark benchmark. My score dropped by 60% versus before updating the drivers and are not better with or without SLI activated...

Any short term fix? rolling back to old drivers?
Thanks![/quote]
are you running benchmarks in 3d? noticed that my frame rate would suffer in games when the enable S3D button was checked in control panel- even when i had 3d off. but as soon as unselected S3d in control panel things were back to normal.

System:
Intel I7 920 overclocked to 4ghz
Asus Rampage Extreme II
2 Ge-force 480 in SLI
GTX 295 PhysX Card
12gb ddr3 2000mhz ram
Intel SSD in RAID 0
BR RW
1000w Sony surround sound
NVIDIA 3D Vision
3d displays tested:
Mitsubishi 65" DLP 3d HDTV (good old 1080p checkerboard since 2007!!!)
Panasonic VT25 (nice 2d but I returned it due to cross talk)
Acer H5360 720p on 130" screen (the best 3d)
23" Acer LCD monitor (horrible cross talk- sold it)

I tried with and without s3d enable and with or without sli enabled. In all case my score = 1 GPU...
To get it to work i would need to get rid of these drivers and s3d and go for drivers with no s3d support...

BTW andrew, the user that your referring to that has quad sli working is infact using 2 260's, not quad sli.
We need drivers....

They'll get it figured out. I'm just happy to see this moving along and improving.
