The unit icons are 2D and I guess the mouse is too but that is no biggy because, pressumably like Torchlight, you set the convergence so the ground mid point is just behind the screen. 2D mouse and HUD icons are near to correct depth.

Doesnt look to be any anomolies! Jobs a good'n!

Yeah. Unit/item/gold nameplates are all in 2d and so is the cursor. This is beta though and Blizzard having good 3d support across their games I wouldn't doubt they add or fix some of those problems.

However, the alt key used to take screen shots is the default key to bring up nameplates in the game for all items on the ground including gold. So these screenshots are all worst case scenario for name plates in other words.
