3D Vision 2 Compatibility?
  1 / 2
With the new 3D vision 2 coming out soon, i'd just like to know if you already have a 3d vision kit if you would have to upgrade and get a whole new kit or if you can use the old Ir emitter and just buy the glasses. That would be pretty nice considering you would have 2 pairs of glasses now and wouldn't have to spend the 50$ for the Ir emitter when you want the upgrade.

Hopefully we will get a nice, detailed, official sticky thread sometime very soon now. (And maybe they can dump the old thread about old beta drivers while they are at it.)

What I want to know is if the HN274H (not the B version) will support the new LightBoost - either stock or via a Firmware update.

From reading reviews you need a new light boost monitor as well,. Don't know if there be any significant changes using old monitors and the new glasses, just have to wait and see. Being a surround user really can't afford to go out and buy 3 new monitors.

You need 3 identical monitors for 3DVS to work. So I don't think that idea would be possible.

Yes i have played batman AA and it is excellent in 3d and what i meant by out of date console hardware is that the developers keep optimizing games for consoles that are years old when it would be better if they optimized for gaming pc's
