The game keeps forcing 120hz resolution. Is there any way to cap it at 60hz? My monitor won't do 3D at 120
It might be because you have Fullscreen option set to "off". Even if game runs in full screen this option is "off" by default and you have to set this to "on" and then press enter and try to start 3D. It is like that for me every time I`m restarting.
just tried it. It didn't work. I'll just play it in 2D
I believe your problem is that you are using an HDMI cable that does not support 120hz. 120hz is a requirement for 3d vision and will not work at 60hz. You can get a new HDMI cable that supports the refresh rate or switch to a dvi-d cable.

No I'm pretty certain he is using 3DTV Play. I can't remember the poster or thread, but BenQ W1070 users solved it by using a EDID override from a 3D HDTV. Since older TVs are not capable of a 120Hz input, the game would then offer a 60Hz option. I'd assume it would work the same on this game as it did on those.

Did they finally make a new HDMI cable capable of 120hz?

Drivers will recognize your setup and activate licence without extra payment. You can read that in 3DTV Play description.

Correct, it is free if users have a Nvidia emitter(or Quadro GPU). Rocquito had earlier this month asked about Sony HMZ-T1 support. He never replied back if he bought it or tried the trial after I informed him he needed 3DTV Play, so I was reiterating. But you're right, I should have pointed out it's free to 3D Vision users(plus Quadro owners) for those that happen across the post.

I would love to check that setup myself but I guess its way better to wait for proper release of Oculus Rift. I`ve seen some videos of people using it with this game and looked great. Apparently it have full VR support. I was looking at state of 3D picture in there and it was great.

Ocutlus Rift will be my next 3d system. Seems that is the direction 3d is moving now and away from monitor/Tv screens. Im fine, my glasses are the original launch versions from the first blitz promotion from Nvidia. That makes them .... so many years old I cant remember and costs have been more than recouped. I think we are at least a few years out from final consumer release. I can see old Dev1 kits being sold for $120 used in the paper locally. I almost jumped on them but I can wait, for now anyways.

I'm pretty sure HDMI 2.0 (not on kepler cards) can do 60 derps a second @ 4K, but no higher, and I know DP1.2 can do 144hz @ 1440P, not sure how far that goes.

I'm using 3dtv Play with a DVI to HDMI lead. Usually I can play at 720 60hz or 1080 24hz [I never do 24hz though] but as stated before the game keeps switching me to 720 at 120hz.
