3D Vision Live & 260.99 - FIXED
Hi,

No matter how many times i have uninstalled - reinstalled clean and what not. I just can't get the 260.99 drivers to work with 3D Vision Live. Is anyone else finding it to be driver specific?
Im constantly getting the below error in the video window. My card can play back this type of video can't it (movie files)? It just can't play back 3D blu-ray (face palm!) is that correct?
It appears that you may be missing, or have improperly installed, one or more of the required 3D Vision components. Please check the System Requirements page for more details.
I think my bro had issues with something in this drive to and he went back to the previous, it also bugged out my Quake Live and I had to change some setting in the browser to stop it from crashing after a server change.

Can anyone recommend a driver that will actually work with this 3d Vision Live? 260.99 Works for my games but not 34VL.

WIN 7 64bit
GTS 250
4gig

Cheers.

I had the same problems, installed the beta drivers and the IR box is now completely off, no power no glowing green light, no bright green light.. Plugging back in and out results in it staying on for about 30 seconds b4 shutting off.

The new beta drivers also require new USB drivers. Did you download the full CD? If not, go back to the driver download page and pick 3D Vision instead of GEForce then do a search for the CD.

Yes, the new 3DVisionLive.com 3D photos module requires the use of NVIDIA graphics drivers v266.35 or higher. These are currently in beta and should soon be available as WHQL drivers (likely next week).

Yes, as 'Zloth' mentionned, a matching update of the 3DVision USB Controller drivers is also required when upgrading your 3DVision System. Upgrading only the graphics drivers is NOT sufficient and will results in instability with the 3D Vision glasses functionnality. For proper operation, you also need to upgrade the 3DVision USB Controller drivers. You can do this by upgrading your system with the GeForce 3D Vision CD v1.44 BETA kit (which contains both the GeForce GPU driver v266.35 and the 3D Vision USB Controller driver v266.35).

Sorry if this wasn't clear. We'll update the System Requirements page to make this more obvious!

Sweet, looked for a different USB driver but didn't find it till I located the 3D vision drop down on the selection, had previously used the just Geforce driver option..
