I saw that there was a directx plugin for the Dolphin emu so i configured it and enabled 3d... and it works!
Metroid Prime runs in 3d, its quite something. Dead Space Extraction runs in 3d (very well), mario galaxy runs in 3d!
Madworld is off the hook in 3d.
you need a heavy CPU to get the games running at anything near 30fps+ but its a great taste of things to come.
its a shame that the directx plugin for the PS1 and Ps2 emu's dont have depth settings (or whatever the problem is), especially as Pcsx2 runs ALOT of ps2 games with 90% quality.
I will take some screens later and attach to this post

The emulator is still unoptimized and does not work with all games. The games that do run have worked surpirsingly well with Nvidia 3D vision. Very few graphical issues which is surprising because of the problems PC games seem to have. The Wii architecture seems to natively work well with 3D. And yes, Mario Galaxy is amazing in 3D. Will upload pictures if someone can explain how I would take steroscopic images from Wii Emulator.

You can, but you'll need Bluetooth and wiimote or glovepie software to use the Wii Remote on the PC, but it is not the same as it works on the console.

I downloaded the latest Dolphin Emu, latest Direct X, and copied Mario Kart as an ISO to my hard drive.. but
when I try to launch it in D3d I just get a black screen.
I'm pretty sure all the options are correct, I dunno, there's quite an array of different configs. out there.
Could you enlighten us as to what versions of all software you're using is, and what the configs are ? :)

Right, I was quite busy last night, so i had no time to mess around with my pc. I will take some shots later tonight.
I also posted on the PS2 emu board (of course it was met with resistance there), it would be something if we could get 3d in ps2 games, especially as alot of the titles run 90%.
Imagine MGS3 in 3d! :P
If you are having trouble with the emu, take a look at this FAQ:
http://forums.dolphin-emu.com/thread-4.html
i would update all that they suggest.
in addition, some of the more recent builds dont work well with some games and some specific versions of the emu are needed for specific games.
for Metroid Prime try this guy's builds.

I gotta see this for myself.
