What the...??? Well, that's great technology, but how are you going to get content at that resolution into the TV?? Maybe when super-fast internet shows up you could download and display?

The high resolution is just to negate the reduction in image quality that you get from passive 3D displays, where the resolution gets cut in half. They don't actually expect to have content with that native resolution for a long time.
