Greetings fellow 3d gamers. Finally created an account after perusing this forum for years.
I have been gaming for over 30 years(!) and purchased an Asus 3d monitor and 3d vision kit about 6 months ago. I believe it is the single biggest gaming enhancement in my years of gaming!
Just wish more people were exposed to pc 3d gaming because I believe it would be more mainstream and better supported. I am sure I share sentiments with most other 3d aficionados when stating that it would be a crime to have this technology die on the vine! I believe theater 3d has ruined peoples percecption of 3d. When someone sees our 3d Home Theater Plasma or especially the pc 3d vision they are usually astounded by the visuals, stating the have never seen this quality of 3d!
Sooo.... I would like to personally thank the Guardians of 3d vision - Helifax, Eqzitara, Mike_ar69, Bo3b and others in this forum for fanning the dimming embers of the 3d fire and keeping the cause alive. I know some are taking a break from game fixes but I pray that some of you come back. The technology is just too damn good and some of you too damn talented to let this unbelievable gaming enhancement die off.
These are my top 5 3d games I have experienced (out of over 100 sampled, with Helix fixes as required):
1) Remember Me - absolutely incredible in 3d, classifies as gaming art imho, underated game
2) Kingdoms of Amalur - once convergence is tweaked and locked, visuals are stunning and fantastic play
3) Just Cause 2 - oldie but goodie, amazing 3d visuals. Maybe the best $3 sale game in history
4) Skyrim - awesome visuals and immersion
5) Dead Space 2 - 3d horror at its finest, great visuals. (edited mistakenly put the average Bioshock 2)
This list makes me somewhat sad in that there may not be future games of this caliber unless the 3d movemnent is pushed forward. I pray for a 3d resurgence in the near future as others discover this technology. 2d gaming is nowhere near as good anymore.
Please post your top 5 3d vison games. We may all find some games we havent uncovered.

I completely agree with you, remember me is amazing in 3d. I miss some of the Batman games being in there, and I also loved The Witcher 2, but still a great top 5
I really hope that Oculus Rift integration recently announced will benefit 3d vision gaming as a whole if it's done right

My current top 5 list is fairly fluid, but it does seem to have a movie tie-in theme going on right about now.
Here goes;
1) Skyrim
2) Starship Troopers
3) Aliens: Colonial Marines
4) The Witcher 2
5) Avatar
Prior to yesterday, I hadn't posted on here for 7 years. Welcome aboard.
Other thing:
Forgot Pirateguybrush and others as Guardians of 3d! I see Pirate on forums pushing ahead 3d support of many titles. Kudos!
Also. I wonder if Helix, Eqzitara, Mike_ar69, Bo3b and other prophets of 3d vision realize that upon their fixes they may hear from 10-20 people...... BUT there are TENS OF THOUSANDS of people ALL OVER THEE WORLD that they never hear from who treasure their fixes. Seriously. Their work makes our gaming sessions and weekends supremely better, bringing awe and wonder to the titles they repair. Very powerful and a blessing to bring so much good to so many. Few people alive have power to have a positive impact on so many people's lives. Thank you for all you do, have done and please....treasure your gift. We most certainly do.

Be sure to take a look at Trine 2 (free demo), I'm pretty sure it will find a place in your top 3. The art and details are amazing and it has often been cited as offering the best looking 3D. It may explain why it's the first title in 3D to show up on the PS4.
I play Diablo III and MechWarrior Online. 3D is amazing in Diablo and the depth is very welcome in MWO for the immersion.

Indeed I have both Trine 1 & 2. And you are most certainly correct, Trine 2 deserves to be a top 5 game. I also played it on the PS4 and it was perfect in 3d on that platform.
Anyone else try mentioned Starship Troopers? Never played that one.

It got harsh reviews upon release, too many bugs ironically. They got ironed out though. Years ago in 2D I stopped playing it about a third of the way through. It wouldn't render at the time in stereoscopic 3D with e-Dimensional software. Last year I tried it out again, just for a laugh. Wasn't laughing long, as my jaw dropped. Worked, right out the box on Win 7. Just like being in the movie. Still savouring it now, complete with a back rest sound cushion for the machine gun fire. You feel it, not just see. Doesn't work with Win8.1. No idea why. There maybe a few copies still floating around somewhere.

My top 5:
1) Mass Effect 2
2) Batman Arkham City
3) Dark Souls
4) The Witcher 2
5) Assassin's Creed 4
Console games that I disliked quite a bit at first, but which are now amazing with 3D Vision:
- Lord of the Rings War in the North
- Alice Madness Returns
- Viking Battle for Asgard
- Psychonauts
I'm to lazy to look it up or find it but I think Bob generated a list from many of us 3DVision users votes of the top (over 20) games. The top 5-10 (even the #1) might surprise you.

Just a heads up, for those that have not played it. Remember Me is on current sale at Green Man Gaming for 5.99!! Never seen it that low. Absolute steal at that price. Its a 3d masterpiece, a game seemingly made for 3d.
Alice Madness Returns is awesome in 3d. Almost have that one finished, its one of the best and a great example of what 3d vision can do for a game. 2d 7 out 10 3d 9 out of 10. Game characters really come alive in 3d.

I really don't understand why Skyrim appears on so many of these lists. It's decent but it has visual issues that prevent it from being on a top 5 list for 3dvision I think. (besides the fact without mods the game is kinda bad imo). If you add other types of mods (necessary for me to play it) generally get conflicts with the fix.
1. Dark Souls (with helix fix and DSfix mod of course)
2. Witcher 2
3. Path of Exile. (almost flawless support out of the box after toyification is set)
3. Trine games (Not my type of game but really nice in 3d)
4. Rocksteady Batman games.
5. Guild Wars 2 (ended up with a strong dislike of the combat but undeniably breathtaking in 3d)

Hi Calistoga,
Welcome to the forum (as a poster). Your comments are spot on , and are echoed by the community endlessly in most of the discussions here (not that it ever reaches the powers that be, at Nvidia).
Necropants,
Skyirm is just an incredibly impressive game in general, even without 3D Vision, so I think this is why it ranks high on people's (obviously subjective) lists. It just has a lasting impact, so imagine when you add 3D to it !
I had a shitloads of both gameplay and visual mods when I was playing, and 3D was perfect with the exceptions of some clouds during some wheather transitions.
But as always with these "preference lists", it's quite difficult to know whether the contributor is listing games that simply are impressive in 3D, or games that are good in 3D but also fabulous games gameplay-wise, or both.
I'll offer the "both" version of the list (with the subjective preference for games that let me roam and discover things on my own, and have AAA-type polish). With the risk of annoying you :-), here it is, with Skyrim in front:
1. Skyrim
2. The 3 Batmans (eagerly expecting the last)
3. AssCreed BlackFlag (even all the AssCreeds I would say, the fixes are very good and the games shine in toyfied 3D)
4. Far Cry 3 (simply ... astounding, with the Helix fix)
5. Tomb Raider reboot
6. Special mention for Diablo 3 - I finally went for it regardless online only and other crap that kept me away from it. Remember when games used to be fun? Well, that is how you desing games meant to be fun. And incredible in 3D.
Other open world / free roaming to try: like you said, Amalur, Just cause 2, but also Sleeping Dogs etc.
And not to forget the games I've not tried yet, and people are raving about: Remember Me, Dark Souls 1 + 2, Watch Dogs with the new fix, etc. I envy people just arriving to 3D Vision. they are in for the gaming treat of their life, due to people like Helix, Eqzitara, Chiri, Mike_ar69, Helifax,Bo3b, HRH, Mana86 etc. And more and more people are joining the fixing ranks, due to Bo3b's training programme.
Ok, i will stop now, I could go on forever on the subject of our favourite hobby :-)

necropants, I should state that I'm kind of combining gameplay into the mix too. Out of that particular list. For sheer visual quality alone, I'd probably say,
1) Avatar (A real gem, with in-game stereoscopy options.)
2) The Witcher 2 (I've only just started it)
3) Skyrim (With summer foliage/extra foliage etc.)
4) Starship Troopers
5) Aliens: Colonial Marines
There, fixed it.
