Actually I think there's another thread on this (or its embedded in another thread). There's a 'Helix fix' for some/most of the issues and it looks+plays in S3D pretty well.
Fun story, not bad writing+voice acting. The artwork looks a bit 'dated' but considering it was designed for the PS3 the port did not turn out all that bad. (I've played worse)
I never finished it on the PS3 and sadly I've still not finished it on the PC ether. ;)

Mbloof, you're sure you're talking about Banished, the indie PC game developed by one person?
Have not bought it yet, to try the 3D. Reviews say it's a hassle to play, never a moment of calm or feeling of accomplishment, people die all the time from various causes outside your control, interface is a mess (catastrophic for a management sim, imo) etc.

it probabaly depends on what you like about sim games, I've heard some good things about this game and also people bashing it. If the 3d would be fine I would like to actually check it myself.

The game is great except for two issues:
1) water waves shader distorts objects in the foreground
2) shadow maps get blocky and flickery and low-res when camera pitch is closer to the ground
