Fix is up: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2018/05/star-wars-battlefront-ii-dx11.html
just for the weekend :)
I have to say this game looks beautiful...the only bad thing is all cinematics are 2D videos :(
I also include 2 MOD for costumes (THANKS DSS!!): Lando and Kylo (this are for my personal taste).
To enable remove the ";" from this line in the d3dx.ini: ";include_recursive = Mods"
F2 to enable/disable
Lando: with the MOD now don't have the capa, not a good idea with all the melten lava

Thanks for the fix DHR - looks really nice. As I am only interested in the single player, I won't buy it yet. $30 is still too much for a 4 hr campaign for me - but it's excellent to know when the price is right the game is 3d ready.

Thanks for the fix. Unfortunately it's not working for me. I can see "3Dfix by DHR" but the 3D is all over the place (many things are still at screen depth). Don't know what I did wrong. I only copied the content of the fix in the game-folder (as usual). Didn't mess with ini-files and so on... I'm using normal 3D-vision on 3D-vision monitor...
Normally I use the keys "strg+alt+F11" to switch the 3D-mode. But here it doesn't seem to do anything (because I thought it could be set to Compatibility Mode first)...
Any ideas?

Can you upload a screenshot?
When you enter a menu, all will be in 2D (you can see a "2D mode" overlay for 2 seconds), this is because the HUD is a total mess and is very hard to navigate on it in 3D....but gameplay should work OK.

@DHR
Since nobody yet has posted something familiar, i am gonna do it. When installing the fix and starting bf2 on my windows 10 x64, the rundll32 prompt appears and i click ok, but then "Warning update profile attempt failed" appears and the game crashes. When uninstalling the fix the green text however has changed to "fix by DHR etc..."
Nevertheless the game crashes on start up and i do not know why. Using driver 397.31.
Thank you.

@Krypteris
Try using this in the d3dx.ini:
allow_create_device=2
If that doesn't work try this:
load_library_redirect=0
Also remember to disable Origin overlay, close MSI Afterburner or similars.
If any of this thing don't works, try re-installing driver using DDU.
WOW thanks DHR :) impresive work!!
But i have a problem. In multiplayer game (Battelships) always get 2D mode. Any way for disable it?
Thanks master! ;)
@murdavs
In the d3dx.ini Comment the preset line, like this:
;001344-ps-t0=!U!=bd1c9d14-vs=530ba78d86803651-ps=2ba9cdc2ebd3b8d4
; Origin user logo
[TextureOverride_HUD2_Target_Icons11]
Hash=bd1c9d14
filter_index=2
;preset = PresetMenu
I will test in Multiplayer, i will probably need to grab another hash for the menus.
Thank you DHR, works great Win 7 Pro/390.77
Tested on Win10 Pro/1709/390.77, works great and yes, you must turn off Origin In Game Overlay or it will crash.
I did not alter your original d3dx.ini on this test

Thanks, disabling the overlay did it. Maybe adding it in the instruction could be useful. Mine was activated again because i reinstalled it recently.
The game looks fantastic.
