3Dvision not working. transmitter won't turn on, etc.
I purchased an ASUS GD235HZ monitor about a month ago and just got my glasses kit today.

The installation and setup went fine and the preview worked.

When I start a game, the 3D isn't working. CTRL + ALT + INS doesn't show anything and the game doesn't show up at all when I click the check mark to "show only installed games".

Pressing the IR transmitter button does nothing (if the game is running or not). My game says it runs excellent and I'm running at 120hz refresh all the time.

When I start the 3D preview again, it just shows 2 of the same image side by side.

Sometimes when it does work (when starting the setup wizard again), the monitor will flash, the transmitter and the glasses will turn on. When I exit the setup wizard, the transmitter turns back off as well as the glasses.

Just spent the last 2 hours trying to get it to work and googling and searching this forum.

Did I do something wrong? I pretty much followed the instruction sheet verbatim when setting it all up.

I feel like I just spent almost $600 on something that isn't working /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Any ideas or things I should try / do differently?

Thanks in advance.

I think you mistyped the model number it must be ACER not ASUS. So did the setup wizard completed successfully? Make sure you are running your game at native 1920x1080 resolution. In stereoscopic 3D settings of Nvidia control pane make sure that you uncheck the box which is labeled as "Hide stereoscopic 3D effects when game starts". In case if things don't work by any means then you should consider a clean install of nvidia drivers. First uninstall all the nvidia drivers then you can use free tools like "Driver cleaner PRO" or "Driver sweeper" to remove the nvidia drivers completely from your system. Sometime it helps to fix problems.
