Sure can you use your ps50b450 3d-ready plasma TV for 3D. I have this to and have a blast playing Resident Evil 5, Dirt2 and other games in 3D.
You must connect the TVs VESA 3D sync port with the Nvidia emitter and select Generic-DLP in the 3D driver. These older Plasmas support only the checkerboard format like DLPs.
Keep in mind that only port HDMI2 can be used to connect the PC and that 3D is only supported in the native TV resolution, which is 1360x768.
Only problem may be that your 3D-Vision kit did not include the VESA sync cable, since they did not include that cable for European packages. I got mine for free through the nVidia support.
Please search this forum for Samsung Plasma or PN50A450 or PS50A476 (which refer all to this TV) for more information.

quadro cards do have a direct VESA plug on the back for perfect synchronization

PC: windows XP professional sp3, gpu asus GTX295, LG GGC-H20L HD DVD / Blu-ray Drive, 4gb memory, cpu qx6950, raptor 150 gb

The problem with this TV model is it only has 1024x768 pixels, though in 16:19 format. This is not good for most games, since the aspect ratio will be messed up. Everything is stretched horizontally,
circles will be ellipsis.

Why do samsung did a mistake like this???

Do there is a draw to make the cable?

the price is probably because of that, for it being for quadro cards, and quadro cards are so expensive because they are for professional segment
you could just make your own vesa cable out of some wires and connectors found at radioshack or your equivalent, would cost you like a dollar or 2

I am also looking into facts so as to buy or not to buy PowerDVD 10 II Mark 3D Ultra... or TMT Platinum by Arcsoft.
My system set up (see below) has been playing amazingly 3d games using tridef s/w over the last 2 years.
But now my ambition is to play blu ray 3d movies. Can you tell me if it will?
because i am not certain at all
Display: Samsung Plasma 50 inch PS50A450 (ps50a476) 1368@768 resolution checkerboard @ 60 hz and hdmi 1.2 ( DVI to hdmi cable)
PC: windows XP professional sp3, gpu asus GTX295, LG GGC-H20L HD DVD / Blu-ray Drive, 4gb memory, cpu qx6950, raptor 150 gb
the point is that PowerDVD Support team assureed me that ther is no problem with the resolution and the checkerboard but they only support 120 hz, not 60hz like mine.
any help will be appreciated
thanks
