Aliens versus Predator (2010) issue
Having 3D vision enabled in the drivers disabled SLI in this game, even with the 3D set to off via the wireless controller. Tested this with the benchmarking tool where I get around 57fps in the opening scene with 1 GPU, 110fps on the same scene with 2 in SLI, yet with SLI still enabled but 3D vision enabled and not used, I get single GPU performance again.

This means that I have to manually disable 3D vision in the driver everytime I want to play AVP. This is annoying, especially seen as I have to go through the setup everytime I re-enable it :(

To note, changing drivers has no effect on this problem at all, suggesting its either a game engine fault or a common issue between the 3D drivers by Nvidia. Please investigate.

So your saying (a) with 3D vision disabled in NVCP and (b) with 2 GPU's... you get 110 FPS then (c) when you enable 3D the framerate cuts in half because your GPU usage goes from 2 GPUS (as confirmed with 3D disabled) to only 1 GPU?

If so that's odd... doesn't happen to me I just tried the game

This is normal behavior, easy way to disable/enable 3D Vision is to go to Start Menu > Nvidia Corportation > 3D Vision and then drag/drop or make shortcuts on your desktop to Enable/Disable 3D Vision icons.

Oddly the GPU usage for both cards remains at 99% with the 3D enabled in the CP, yet disabled via the wireless receiver ingame.

Thanks I'll have a look at that and get back to you.

Had a play around with those disable and enable shortcuts and it works perfectly so thanks for that. When I disable 3D I get the full power of SLI again.
