Is the european toshiba TL838 serie compatible with 3DTV play 3dtv compatibility?
I should be interested in purchase a 40TL838 from Toshiba (an active with ARM 200Hz) but before, as it's not in the compatibility official list of TV's screen from nvidia site, i would like to know if it's worth (my usage will be essentialy for play computer game in 3D... preference for the nvidia solution but... don't know if it will work)
Here's a link to see it's specs: http://eu.consumer.toshiba.eu/en/products/tv/40TL838#productDetailSpecifications

If you haven't purchased it then please don't go ahead with it as there may be incompatibility issue.
If you have already got it then you can give a try to the trial version of 3DTV play and check.

Well, i've now post on this forum, on toshiba europe/us, on hardware.fr and on lesnumeriques.com but have no valuable response on that type of screen.
I've notice that toshiba have some different kind of screenplays depending on location, the TL838 don't exist in usa but we don't have TL515 in europe for exemple.
So... as it's the "soldes" time and as this screen is cheap 3d (and overall as i've got the monney for and pretty not sure to be able to keep it for times lol)
and at least as i've seen it "turning" in shop and found it pretty good, i think i'm going to remplace my 22" asus in 1680x1050 (i have also a brand new - modern - config with a mid class 560Ti wich want to express herself /turned.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':turned:' /> )
I'll post a return on this when it's in my office. In bettween if someone's has info about it...
