Watching Youtube with Firefox causes basic color scheme when 3D Vision enabled
  2 / 2
I have the same problem, I tried setting my theme to Windows Basic and it still does the flicker (as if it was changing themes again even though it's already on basic).

Now that I found this topic it seems that it's a common problem with the latest drivers.

When I open any 3d video file in 3d vision video player or watch anything on www.3dvisionlive.com, the Aero theme turns off, and the pop-up window says something like "color scheme is not compatible..." It started after I changed my video card from 8800GT to 460GTX and installed the latest drivers. I have windows 7 32bit.

I have been using firefox 4 for a while and still had this problem, i managed to fix it by turning off the "hardware accelerated" option in firefox options. Also runs faster and fraps doesnt show me the frame rate while net browsing, lol

Hi,

I have a strange problem: When I try to watch videos on Youtube, and 3D Vision is enabled, Firefox causes Windows to switch to basic color scheme. If I close Firefox the normal Aero Design recovers.
There is no problem with Internet Explorer. I have already tried to unistall and reinstall Firefox and Graphics drivers.

Firefox: 3.6.15
Graphic&3D Vision: 267.24
Windows 7 x64 SP1

Is this bug? Please help.

Hi

This is expected behavior in Release 265 drivers.

We have provided a new option in Release 270 which allows users to select to always run 3D apps which will allow Windows Aero to always be enabled.
