3d ready?

Anybody know what Stereo 3d does in the options?

At first i thought i was gonna get a sbs image ect like crysis has but alas i do'nt see that option doing anything.

At 1080p this rapes my gtx470 giving around 99% gpu usage and 40-50fps, and there are dips and spikes, in 2d though game runs smooth as butter with solid 60fps.

I don't have the game yet...(still thinking if I should buy it or not..looking for a demo or something) but I have found something interesting for 2D & 3D Surround users:

"
Alice Madness Returns Surround Display Tweak – 3D
Those of you who either have ATI Eyefinity or Nvidia Surround display may notice menu squashed in center when you try to run the game in tri resolution. You may not be able to see the menu in certain cases, while the game works fine on single monitor.

If you are experiencing any of these issues, you may want to tweak the Alice.ini to fix this issue.

Go to:
\Documents\My Games\Alice Madness Returns\AliceGame\Config\AliceEngine. ini
and change these resolutions to your desired resolution to be able to play the game on your center screen without disabling surround setup.
ResX=6000
ResY=1080
If you want to disable the FPS cap, do the tweak below:
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=60
UseVsync=False

"

Hope it helps.

PS: Also can anyone try these tweaks and let us know?:)

I'm always shocked and confused when I hear of PC game developers not having an Eyefinity or 3D Surround setup.

I already tried the surround "trick", and it doesn't work, the game only displays on center screen. It's the same as witcher 2 before the patch.
I expected this feature to be supported as being a Nvidia sponsored game. Duke and Dungeon Siege 3 works fine in surround.
