3D Vision and MOE Dose MOE work with 3D Vision?
Hi All,

MOE is a window molecular graphic application of which quad buffer stereo mode can be enabled. The hardware and OS I already have are as following:

Dell T5500
GTX 295 or GTX 275 video card
3D Vision Kit
2233RZ
Vista 64 bit

I have followed some threads on this board and know that some guys have successful experience on quad buffer applications (eg. Arcmap, Maya) with 3D Vision. So do you have any suggestion on this topic?

Greetings to everyone!

It does work!

--------Basic Info------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hardware: Dell T5500, Quadro FX 3700, NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit, Sumsung 2233rz
OS: Vista 32-bit
Application: MOE (Molecular Operating Environment)
Video Card Driver: quadro 186.18
3D Vision Driver: 186.18
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------Installation Procedure------------------------------------------------------------
1. Installing video card driver, then reboot
2. Installing 3d vision driver, then run setup wizard
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-------Application Configuration--------------------------------------------------------
1. Right click menu on desktop>NVIDIA Control Panel> 3D Settings> Program Settings
2. Add program "moe.exe"
3. Program settings:
Enable Overlay: On
Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration: Single display performance mode
Stereo-Display mode: Generic active stereo (with NVIDIA IR Emitter)
Stereo-Enable: On
Triple Buffering: On
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rebooting and change the refresh rate into 120 Hz

--------Run Application-------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Start MOE, you will notice that the IR Emitter turn into bright green
2. Load a molecule
3. MOE | Render | Stereo | Quad Buffer
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then, you will see the beautiful stereo effect.

I must thank Biglars and pnlrao whose successful experience on other windowed application encourage me to try until it worked! Now I believe that not only the gamers but also the scientists and engineers can feel fun with NVIDIA 3D Vision!
