So, for those people who need/want to use a newer driver for this game, it looks like 355.82 has fixed all the bugs that plagued this game ever since 352.86 (at least, I didn't see any within 10 minutes or so). The Far Cry 4 profile has also been updated in this driver so the switch to Max Payne 3 profile is no longer required.

3D looks great now. But I experience a lot of driver crashes. Does anyone else has those after around 10 to 20 minutes in the game?
Specs are under my signature, I use driver: 355.60 WHQL and Win7 and have an incredible huge page file (60 GB) that help me playing GTAV for example without a single crash, I also enabled the Microsoft fix for longer response time until the driver passes out.

Whenever you run a fullscreen app then all visual stuff like Aero are automatically disabled..it's useless to do that unless you don't run fullscreen (like borderless) but then again in "properties" - "compatibility" you can tick "disable desktop composition" which does same thing.

The game was great in 3D with windows 8.1 64 and 350.12 drivers and the fix available on helixmod blog, following the complete procedure (http://helixmod.blogspot.be/2015/03/far-cry-4.html).
But now I'm under windows 10 64 and latest nvidia drivers 355.98, I uninstall the fix and come back to standard far cry 4 profile (not max payne). But ...The result seems less good ...What do you advice ? Thanks again for the titanic work you do to give us the chance to play all those games in 3D :-)

That's likely an issue with Windows 10 and newer drivers - IIRC someone noticed that recent drivers ignore the StereoFlagsDX10 setting under Windows 10, which would lead to this game being completely broken. If I've understood the Win 10 discussions, it sounds like 350.12 is the only driver that works.
I uninstall the fix
Just to make sure - you still have the fix itself installed right? The only part that shouldn't be necessary on newer drivers is switching the profile - the rest of the fix is still required.

Excellent update. I bought the game yesterday and I see that there is a new patch of this game :)
Nevertheless, even with a GTX 980, in 3D, the game requires lots of powerful.
Impressive update. This new features are aplicable to witcher 3 fix?....Would be awesome :O.
I was wondering what you meant when I read this first time :/ Yea - the painful name tags or object descriptions. That would be crazy good since this is only one broken element in this game (and double surface - not important thou).
Next year will bring another expansion (which is going to be massive!) so this subject might pop back.
Thanks for update DarkStarSword - looks great. I`m still playing this game so that is nice surprise for me :)
