A 2D cursor would completely kill it for me.
Then again, I'm pretty sure Valve put a 3D cursor into TF2 and I don't play that game in 3D either.
For a high-paced online shooter, I prefer the higher hz and all the things associated with it. Can't imagine there's a huge audience out there.
I mean, it'd be nice if they included a 3D reticule for those who did want to, but I'm guessing it's a very small niche.
Those screenshots look very good, though it's really weird, there are problems with buildings and UI, still I'm surprised since 3d support has never been mentioned. Maybe DirectX 11.1 supposedly being 3d ready doing wonders here?

Ugh. Just received an e-mail with a beta code, but it's for Xbox One. Apparently this is a common mistake they're having. Supposed to do this if it happens:
http://help.ea.com/en/article/titanfall-beta-code-platform-issue-and-workaround/
Hopefully I get a working code today.
I decided to give it a shot and the biggest issue is definitely the crosshair.
You can play it in 3D pretty well, but you do need to turn the depth down to about ~30% to make it reasonable.
The rest of the UI is also rendered in 2D, but not in a way that makes it obnoxious to view.
The little green zone that appears when you call in a Titan also renders incorrectly (it renders at screen depth) and can be really distracting, but it's only there for about 5 second so no biggie.
If it wasn't for performance woes, I could very reasonably play this in 3D for a while.

They were one of the early announcers of support, which also appears to have waned as it became more clear that they'd have to revamp the UI for Rift.
Rift is not exactly directly mapped to working in 3D Vision, but if they fix things the right way, by putting stuff at actual correct depth and not faking 2D effects for Rift- then that sort of thing translates well to 3D Vision.

I don`t think he can do that. He have to submit this code back to them to get the new one. After that i think code will become invalid.
I got the same and i will post it to you if i get the new one. Will see if works.
Edit: i`ve send you private message with code. If you have already a different one then post the code in here for someone else to try it.

Seems to me like if they're already this close to full support, they might be convinced to take it all the way.
there are some issues with lighting and background/sky like eqzitara mentioned. Still I ccan ignore those if it wasnt for the crosshair as I can't aim properly.
There are some scenes that are 100% perfect but it would need some small fixes to be flawless. The game accts odly for me when it comes to performance.
When I turn the vsync off I have steady 60fps and the game is smooth, when I use triple buffering I have steady 120 (probably sincce my refresh reate is at 120) but the game feels more choppy for some reason, in 3d I have some weird 150-200 fps ;/
just for the record the cconsole is disabled but youu can use start parameters in origin to show fps and skip the annoying intro by adding -novid +cl_showfps 1 (fps_max doesnt seem to work for me).

I sent an email to Respawn asking about it, and it was suggested I post on the forums. I told them I had, and asked what the odds of it being looked at were. The response was:
"Our devs are pretty thorough about looking through feedback! Really appreciate you sharing that."
That's promising.

Yep, it's a weird issue but there's a fix!
Go into Nvidia Control Panel and override V-Sync to either off, or Adaptive (I prefer adaptive.)
Then, in game, turn V-sync on. It'll unlock the framerate, but since Nvidia Control Panel is overriding the V-sync, the game will still use whatever option you set in the control panel.
This lets you play at 120hz with V-sync off, or Adapative or whatever you want.
