I've been using passive 3d using a EDID mod for 1920x1080 60Hz line interleave for the longest time now but I would really like it if you guys on the 3D team to add the Line Interlace option for those of us using 3DTVs with passive 3d officially. Your line interleave output is clean, it has a antialiasing filtration on top of the output so the lines don't end up as jaggy as it would be, and the image doesn't have to get distorted compared to Side by Side that would cause image scaling. So all I am asking as a long time Nvidia user, is add the option for those of us that use passive 3D. Secondly, line interleave requires no user intervention for the 3d to work. As long as the resolution is set to the native resolution, it will just work with 3D vision activated on.
If this does ever happen, I also would like you to add a image resize option to this output so that when we use a lower resolution than the native you can resize it back to the native resolution so the image is rendered correctly to the odd/even lines.
Btw, I bought your active 3d vision 2 shutter glasses with the emitter too for use with a projector to support your 3d team in whatever way I can and I even have a Nvidia Shield on launch date so I can play games anywhere I want to so I am a serious user interested in more options. Right now you are making us passive users move over to Tridef and you really don't want all of us to do it. Thanks.
In the meantime, look forward to a bunch of EDIDs of TVs that support Line Interleave at 1920x1080 60Hz coming at you with the added Left/Right markings for the FPR lines.
