Hi guys, has anyone played it recently? There are random horizontal flickering on the screen, can anyone confirm it ? I remember I had the issue long ago, it was connected with a version of driver somehow. But now i'm on gtx1080 and i cant revert drivers back. Resinstalling driver (with DDU)/the game/the fix doesn't help. BTW there is no flickering with the fix uninstalled.

this is not only me who has this problem, on helixmod people in comments report about the same issue, I didn't have the issue on my previous setup(gtx670 sli) with older drivers, i'm using a monitor. I'd like to know if anyone is not facing the issue right now.

Just started Mass Effect 3 and had a quick look - no flickering. I have Win10 x64 v.1803 and a GTX 1080 (non-SLI). Try to install the fix via 3DFM and start the game with this app. I think I remember dynamic shadows had to be enabled or the fix was partially broken. 3DFM does this automatically for you.

I looked at the blog comments for the latest fix (and the older ones), and people weren't able to resolve the flickering. If you haven't tried to change the gfx options, then start with lowering/disabling shadows. The comments mentioned "self shadows". Otherwise, try disabling the second gfx card in Device Manager or removing it from the motherboard and see if that at least helps.

Ok, I wasn't sure from before. The fix adds that the "." key can hide flares and "," show the flares. Other than that, I can only think of trying the gfx options and generally sticking to a process of elimination approach.

I'n not sure I understand you correctly, but disabling lens flares and dynamic shadows doesnt solve the problem of flickering, it appears even in the main menu.
