3dmigoto + reshade
  1 / 3
Is it possible to have them both working and if so how should I properly set it up? I remember that I was using some kind of proxylib command for diablo3 way back with dx9 fixes, I've tried like 3 games with 3dmigoto and reshade together just copied over but without any success, all just refuse to load at all. Oh no wait, witcher 3 worked that way... but Rotrt failed completely same with ds3.

Yes it's possible, it's been done before https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/824274/

You sure about that D-Man11? I personally haven't been able to get Reshade and 3DMigoto to work together either, since the proxy function of 3DMigoto does not seem to work, at least not with d3d11.dll libraries. I've only been able to get ENB working with 3DMigoto because ENB has it's own proxy library function which does actually work, but unfortunately ENB is not a generic wrapper and only a handful of games have a release for it.

[SOLVED]How to get ReShade working with 3Dmigoto in Alien isolation? https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/898318/ I haven't used it, but you can see that this poster was able to get it to work. There was also some similar thing in a Total War Rome thread. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/939980/

Ehhh, yeah, I came across that thread before in my previous searches but that solution required using a legacy version of 3DMigoto, which unfortunately would not work with probably 90% of DX11 fixes due to significant changes in the architecture of the wrapper since that legacy version, definitely none of the newer stuff. Certainly wasn't viable for the game I was trying for at the time. Only worked with Alien Isolation because that was one of the first DX11 fixes and didn't utilize any of the newest features in the wrapper.

Unfortunately, I do not use it. That's why I provided him the advanced search link. there are so many different versions of it, I would think that at least one would work. It got me thinking of another post that I remembered seeing, but come to find out that it was your post. So that will not help. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/839133/3d-vision/fallout-4/post/4748412/#4748412 GL

Hmmm, well I'll be a son of a gun! I completely forgot about that ordeal with FO4, and as far as I can remember I did get it working. I *think* whatever version I used for SFX/ReShade used a dxgi.dll wrapper instead of a d3d11.dll. It was quite some time after that I ended up trying on a different game (and had forgotten about FO4 by then), and I attempted to find a version of SFX or Reshade that used dxgi.dll and came up completely short then. I'll try testing this out on some other games, and hopefully it will work. Be funny if the solution was sitting right underneath my nose all along. Cheers for finding and pointing that out!

I got this one working with witcher http://sfx.thelazy.net/games/preset/3911/ well 'got it working' is probably too much to say as it just worked straight up, but its using the mentioned dxgi.dll to do the colour magic.

I have Reshade working in Dark souls 3 using the Rekindled version. I didn't even have to do anything but a copy and paste. It is using a Dxgi.dll opposed to D3d11.dll I was never able to get it working in witcher 3 without the game crashing on startup when it required chaining with 3dmigoto I just now tried that one you are using tehace and it crashes on startup but I found MSI afterburner overlay was causing it, so keep that in mind.

Thanks for the reports on the problem, I've added it as an Issue with 3Dmigoto that we can address the d3d11 chaining at some point.

Any news? I can't get work reshade 3.05 with watch dogs & 3dmigoto fix... If I take an old 3dmigoto, I need to replace all the files except d3dx.ini?

OK, took awhile to get to this, but the experimental version of 3Dmigoto should be able to work with Reshade in a d3d11 proxy. https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/releases/ The experimental 1.3.2 worked with Reshade in a couple of tests that I made. Worth a try if you still have some problematic scenarios. This version seems to work with ENB, Reshade, and SpecialK, but we have not tested very much.

Thanks bo3b! I use reshade on occasion too, so I appreciate the time you've put into testing and fixing this! :)

excellent news, a well made reshade can really dramatically change the look and feel of a game for the better - especially for someone that prefers a realistic look and color scheme. 3Dmigoto just keeps getting better and better.. thanks!
