Forcing Refresh Rates 57hz with 2233rz
Okay, call me stupid, but I'm just wondering if forcing 57hz on the
Samsung 2233rz lcd will cause damage to the monitor ?

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you. Andrew?

Doing that for less jumpy movement in movies? I can't see any way that it would hurt the monitor. Still, the monitor might get pissy and throw "invalid refresh rate" at you.

Ahh good ol' reliable F3likx, it's kinda complicated and silly answer but ..
my wife's computer is running 3 screens with a Triplehead2go Digital (2 of 3 monitors
being the 2233rz)

In order to get the res. of 5040x1050 you gotta create a custom resolution and force 57hz.
Otherwise she's limited to 3840x1024.. lol

Anyway it's working at 57hz, so I'll assume now that
it's fine. Thank you good sir.
