Do you have to use Nvidias glasses with the system? I don't have them.
I got an Epson TW6000 3D projector which came with glasses and I'm having trouble getting 3D to work on it.
My card is a GTX460, I downloaded the latest drivers today, I have the projector attached via a HDMI. When I turn on the 3D vision in the control panel I get the following error.
Error in stereo driver, NvAPI_stereo_IsActived() returned 0 ater stereo was enabled by default with setting->setDefaultStarupMode(true)
The projector is only recognised with a 60hz display as well.
I don't have any 3D films to test on it, I tried watching some content on youtube but had no luck.

try it with a VGA cable
I'll try that this evening but I don't see why I'd need to, the projector can accept a 3D signal through the HDMI (240hz), would it be a case the card can't send HDMI 1.4? It implies it can through the driver.
8M HDMI for the bin if that's the case. /angry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I just tried the VGA cable and I'm no closer. It dropped the native resolution from 1080 to 1200 x800, it still says the display only has a refresh rate of 60hz and it's back to wanting me to plug in the Nvidia glasses emitter. With the HDMI lead it didn't ask for that to be plugged in, it seems like a different wizard from when I have the VGA plugged in.

Unless your projector is listed on either the Nvidia 3D Vision or 3DTV Play supported list, it will not work. You will need to have it submitted for support.

Ok I'll do that I guess. It is a newly released projector. But does that mean I wouldn't even be able to watch a 3d blueray until NVIDIA update their drivers?

Since it's HDMI based, you're going to have to buy 3DTVPlay ($40) once they get around to adding support for your PJ--unless you already have the $150 3DVision kit or a 3DVision branded Laptop. It also does not actually accept a 240Hz signal (that is referring internal processing, frame interpolation), you will be limited to 720p/60Hz or 1080p/24Hz in 3D.

Hmm, I just found that unless a projector is HDMI 1.4 it can not be added unless the manufacturer pays for certification. So your only choice may be to spoof the EDID or remove the EDID ID pins from the cable.

Hello, I have Epson TW6000 projector and do not need nVidia 3D Vision kit. Just connect it with quality HDMI 1.4 cable. Then go to nVidia graphic card controll panel and enable Stereoscopic 3D. You go through a setting wizard, use your original Epson 3D glasses - it works perfect. End the end you will be able in nVidia graphic card controll panel change resolution - you will see two HD 3D options: 1080p (1920 x 1080) and 720p (1280 x 720). Both works perfectly. You really do not need nVidia 3D vision which is limited only to 720p (and not compatibile with this projector).
Today I recieved a tip from Epson support, that the Panasonic TY-EW3D2ME glasses should be compatibile with Epson TW6000. Im gonna check it today.

You do not just connect it and it works. You need 3DTV Play $39.99. If you have the Nvidia emiiter already, 3DTV Play is free, but the emitter must be plugged in.
There are no HDMI 1.4 cables, manufacturers can no longer list cables by version number, they are now called "High Speed Cables"
Weird, I've not found one site that lists this projector as HDMI 1.4 compliant. If it's HDMI 1.3, then how did it get 3DTV Play support? Because it only accepts a 60Hz input?
