Broken 3D bluray playback since 'fake' 3D driver introduced (unfixable)

I gave up, I'm buying Mede8ter and pioneer 3D bluray home theater, and for gaming just use TriDef...
Can't realy blame Nvidia tho, all money giants work on the same buisness model: they keep developing new product and new technologies, because that sells, but support for existing ones doesn't bring any money and making existing product work won't force people to buy new upcmoming one... It's sad realy, only competition is AMD and they are even worse on support. That is why it would be better if there were more GPU developers on the market, so quality of support would matter too. On this particular issue, it's ridiculus even more, as this WAS WORKING BEFORE... it's not some new feature that needs to be developed, it's just "we don't care enough to apply the fix and make it work again".

I wish I could but can't connect my active speakers setup to unbalanced outputs as I get ground loops. I just have to wait for nvidia to pull their finger out of their arse whilst swapping drivers every time I watch a film / game.
It used to work, now it doesn't, how hard can it be to fix something when you have access to the working code?
Maybe they should get helix to pop round for 10 minutes and show them how it's done.
I mean what are they doing all day at nvidia, sat around playing games, patting each other's back and counting money ?
We paid for 3DTV Play and it hasn't work for over 6 months.
Someone should take them to court, it's a disgrace and is false advertising.

May 27 - the release of 337.88 which broke 3D in Nvidia drivers. It's been broken for almost five months now. Five bloody months! This is getting preposterous. I bet next drivers will not fix this and not even mention the problem in the release notes.

Honestly after 5 months, put your money where your mouth is and go AMD. This annoys me as much as anything else, as its really the only thing I use the nVIDIA card for. I'll remember this the next time I upgrade.

I'm not at my PC at the mo. Has the new driver fixed it or is it a rhetorical question?
EDIT: Just had a quick look and the answer is a no!
The motion is better and the blurring seems to have gone but every edit has the same weird swiping effect. It changes camera and you can almost see a left to right or right to left edit 'transition' which makes me feel sick and is not there in the older drivers.
What a disappointment! I guess they still have Stevie Wonder in the QA department and laid back larry in the arse kicking 'get sh*t done' department.
It makes me feel numb I bought this setup and can't even watch a 3D film without having to reinstall a 6 month old driver and run through a 10 minute setup process every time.
The way it's meant to be played. The irony is not lost!
The way it used to play, would be more applicable and appreciated.

I haven't noticed any improvements, same old glitch, both during motion and scene change. And I'm not expecting "improvements". It should be fixed once and for all. What a disgrace. >:(

Nop, nothing fixed, same old fake driver glitch , bluray 3D is still completly unwatchable, back to 337.50 last driver before this disaster.....
We can forget about Nvidia solving this, real solution would be a software bluray player, that would have its own 3D playback driver using directx... so far PowerDVD is the onlyone available, Total Media Theater has been discontinued. I mean, seriusly, no other software for this awesome feature of actualy watching 3D bluray??? And Nvidia doesn't pay any attention to it either, I guess that is the reason why noone is actualy making a decent 3D bluray player for PC. Huge dissapointment from all parties involved.
PS: those of you who have a cpu and motherboard with integrated gpu that has HDMI and 3D support (intel or AMD latest chipsets) can get a temporary solution by connecting your 3D TV or monitor to it, next you need to enable the integrated gpu in your bios settings (this can be tricky, as some motherboards don't alow it to run with PCI-E inserted g. card - please refere to your motherboard user nmanuals and spec for that) and install drivers for it. I've tried it on my Asus Maximus Hero VI and i5-4670k that has intel HD 4600 gpu integrated and it works. PowerDVD will work on it, tho its not as powerwul as nvidia card, but 3D bluray at least works as it should. All you need to do is setup it as the only display, and it will use its 3D driver to produce proper 3D bluray performance instead of latest crappy nvidia fake 3D.

i can't believe they probably make all these 3D movies on Nvidia tesla nodes farms but we still can't actually watch a 3D bluray with their botched drivers.
This is driving me insane how inept and care free they are about the whole thing.
It's a fundamental function of the software they are selling and it doesn't work!
Screw nvidia, no wonder that Linux dude gave them the finger.
They are in coo coo land with their head up their arse!

I wonder why I don't see this problem? I'm using latest drivers, but I'm going through my Onkyo AVR and not direct to the TV. I use Poweredvd and TMT (cant remember the version)

I tried directly to tv and through Pioneer bcs-222 home theater, resoult is the same. If this didnt work at all, Id blame the hardware, but weird thing is, it works with older drivers and on intel...

@GibsonRed: Did you contact customer support? They don't really pay much, if any, attention to this forum. Did you add anything to the primary driver release threads like: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/783813/official-nvidia-344-48-whql-display-driver-feedback-thread-10-22-14-/
Those will sometimes get the moderator to create a bug report for them internally.
The reason I ask is because the latest driver release notes don't say anything about it being broken, and they have a lot of other stuff, even specific games, that are noted as broken.
If no-one has reported it through customer support there is an off-chance they don't in fact know it's broken.
Edit: Nope, looks like they do have a bug report filed on it, just not fixed yet:

There's a fix someone posted on the cyberlinks forums.
You enable your CPUs built in gfx (if you have one and it has a HDMI output) and install the driver for it (obviously) and connect it to your 3D monitor /tv/ projector (if you're using it as a second screen for films)
So basically you bypass anything in your PC that has nvidia on it if you want to watch a 3D bluray.
I also found this box which will allow me to get 7.1 from a bluray player and console whilst using my PC soundcard.
It's called a Octava hdmxa71. It's pretty cool as it allows me to swap between my projector and monitor too!
So instead of buying two 980's in SLI I'm now buying the octava and an Xbox one with the money and having a system that works.
I'll keep my 690 for bf4 on the 4k monitor and alien / board lands in 3D on my projector.
I will never buy an nvidia product again until this is fixed. They are so blausey it drives me insane!
Yes bo3b I even pm'd individual nvidia employees to no avail as well as everything you suggested.
It's a disgrace and quite frankly they can kiss my ass because I'm done!
THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT CUSTOMERS NVIDIA!

Thats the exact fix i came up with too, just use your integrated card if it supports 3D, and completly bypass nvidia. I'm interested in Mede8ter, does any of you guys have it, and does it work ok? Id like to know firsthand experiance if its ok for playing 3D bluray and iso...

That does look like a good option but it doesn't have DTS/MA decoding or 7.1 analogue outs so it isn't any good for me.
+ dolby atmos is around the corner.
Anyone know if 3D works with powerdvd with an AMD GFX card?

Just curious if it only affects 3DTVPlay.
I'm running ASUS VG278H and don't recognize the problem.
Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?
