Thanks.
No I don't have compatibly on for anything.
I have tried alt+tab alt+ enter etc.
Thanks Helix.
Ok I have been using your fixes since skyrim back in like 2011 and always got them to work.
This is the first Opengl game I have tried.
So I tried reinstalling the game first up.
I used revo uninstaller pro after to completely clean up all left over files reg keys etc.
However once I reinstall my settings saved game is still present which is strange.
Anyway at first reinstall and applying the wrapper I got a little blue error box saying something to the sort of failed to apply 3rd party application or something.
Then the game loaded up fine once I tried again but still no 3d or helifax logo.
"- Enable the LOG (in the wrapper ini file)."
Can you please explain how to do this?, I should know but I have been out of the game so to speak for a while.
My drivers were only recently installed I'm running 372.70.
Also always use DDU when upgrading.
I will uninstall the DOOM profile if I cant get your first step working.
Also definitely have this running as administrator as the box comes up when the games loading asking do you want to run this program and the little icon in the right hand corner of the DOOM icon.
Thanks again.
Appreciate it.

I send you a PM yesterday. The problem was MSI Afterburner!! i close the software and now runs at 120fps all the time. This is not the first time i have issues with games + MSI afterburner open.
Another question: is normal that in certain angles some lights (mainly whites one) only look in one eye? or like cut-off. if i move to another angles looks OK. It's not equal to the clipping lights in The Evil Within, but kind of similar.
Yeah, sorry I forgot to answer to the PM, got it this morning at like 5 AM here;)
Glad that the problem is solved. Strange the MSI had that effect on you though.
Yes, the lights clip strangely. I thought initially is a tex-coord somewhere but I couldn't find the shader that is responsible (and I tried to modify all the tex-coords in vs and PS in all the shaders I found for a light). Perhaps I will revisit that in the future at some point;)
I am facing a strange issue when playing Doom. Currently I play the game on my LG 4K OLED but I had the same issue when playing it on another PC in 3D Vision Surround.
When I launch the game and the "BETHESDA"-writing is showing up I almost always get a freeze here (Bethesda logo stops to move into the background and freezes instead)so I have to reset my PC. I can CTRL+ALT+DEL out of the game and do a restart from there but I even can't open the task manager so I could manually end the "Doom"-process.
The weird thing is that after the restart I can almost be sure that the game will launch without issues with my next try.
When playing the game also performs flawlessly. But when I try to exit to Desktop I instantly get a black screen from where I only can turn-off the PC or do a manual restart via Reset-button.
This is only happening when using the fix. Any idea?
Have an idea there;) I think it might be a NVAPI issue. I plan on updating the NVAPI version the wrapper is using. I also get that thing in Win7 Only. On windows 10 works perfectly fine... strange no?
Regarding the into part, you can add "+com_skipIntroVideo 1" to get rid of the intro movies.
I managed to get the Bink player to crash/hang in Windows 7 without using the wrapper a couple of times. This command will guarantee that no intro videos are presented. Instead the screen will be black a quite longer and then enter the game (Monitor your HDD LED to see the game is loading and not actually crashed, as this can take up to 30-50 seconds to load).
Exiting the game Nvapi64.dll crashes on Windows 7 for some reason.... Works fine on Win10. Hopefully the update of NVAPI lib that I use will solve this;)

Damn... There is definitely an issue there. I think you have an Administrator, but you also have some sort of UAC into place (I normally keep that one on "Never Notify"

You can enable the LOG from the 3DVisionWrapper.ini by setting: EnableLog = true.
It will generate 3DVisionWrapper.log file.

If the clipping is fixable the same way than The Evil Within, we need to hunt the VS and correct the output to infinite (output = stereo.x * stereo.y).

In the game set your game to run in Window Mode (NOT fullscreen).
In the ini file:
EnableShaderDump = true ; will generate the shader dumps
EnableDevMode = true ; development mode
ForceFullScreen = false ; this needs to be OFF otherwise it will try to run in fullscreen and all you get is black screen
[Shader_Compiler_Options]
EnableCompilerOptions = true
DisableCurrentShaders = true ; will make the selected shader disappear.
ShaderCompilerStartIndex = 4 ; first program ID from where we start the cycle.
[CTRL] + [+] Shader Compiler: Select the Next Vertex Shader
[CTRL] + [-] Shader Compiler: Select the Previous Vertex Shader
[CTRL] + ] Shader Compiler: Select the Next Pixel Shader
[CTRL] + [ Shader Compiler: Select the Previous Pixel Shader
Be gentle on the key presses as they are hyper sensitive;)) ^_^ This will generate a file called currenshader.glsl in the DebugShaders folder (it will always be at the bottom in the list).
You can use that one and edit the shader realtime.
Then press F9 and it will try to recompile the vertex+fragment = shader program. And you will see the results on screen.
NOW, Chances are the F9 will not work properly and you get corrupted images (very hard to swap the shader real-time as I need to recompile everything, remake some bindings, etc. and on complex shaders OpenGL doesn't like it :(( ).
So the safest way:
CTRL + + to find the vertex shader (in this case the shadow will disappear). A message box will appear that says what vertex shader is selected.
Remember the name.
In the Debug Shaders.
Find the "number_vertex_crc.glsl" file.
copy it to Shaders folder.
Modify it.
Restart the game and see if it worked:)
It's a bit of pain, but is the only way it works.
The full documentation is here:

(scroll at the bottom before the videos;)
To see it in action look at video number 7. Is an older version of the wrapper, but same rules apply;)
Let me know if this works out;)

BTW, awesome game and very nice looking in 3D.....old school shooter. The PS looks like is also part of a Multi-Pass shader as well, but I like how they calculate everything pixel based/shading for best photographic result;)

What are the numbers of both shaders? there are in the "Shader" folder?
In the VS i see you applied a fix:
gl_Position.x += g_eye * g_eye_separation * (gl_Position.w - g_convergence);
That fix something??
If is the correct light VS, responsable for the clipping, if i traslate the fix from The Evil Within, we will need to use this:
gl_Position.x += g_eye * g_eye_separation * g_convergence;
Also try to alt-tab when game starts and go back. That might trigger 3D to respond "

Before I draw any conclusions can you please make a screenshot of the blue message you are seeing?
I am trying to understand what you get there to see exactly what might be wrong and how we can fix it, so please bear with me;)
You can enable the LOG from the 3DVisionWrapper.ini by setting: EnableLog = true.
It will generate 3DVisionWrapper.log file.

How can enable hunting? and what keys are used to hunt VS.
If the clipping is fixable the same way than The Evil Within, we need to hunt the VS and correct the output to infinite (output = stereo.x * stereo.y).

However.
I have an asus ROG board with a program called sonic studio for audio.
When its enabled internet explorer doesn't work.
When I close the program I don't get this blue screen anymore DOOM loads fine just no 3D.
I entered " EnableLog = true " into the .ini file but I don't see a .log file in my DOOM directory after I have loaded the game?.
Thanks again.
In the game set your game to run in Window Mode (NOT fullscreen).
In the ini file:

Hmm..
Can't you see 3D Vision of 3D Photos in Window mode (using Nvidia 3D player) with 3DTVplay in window mode?
I thought that you could... :( If you can, then 3D Should work as well.
I am not sure (I can't remember if shader hunting works without 3D Vision being activated hahaha... never thought about it ^_^).
I guess I can give it a quick try;)
Edit:
Nope it doesn't work:(
If I don't find 3D Vision Enabled in Nvpanel I just don't modify anything in the rendering pipeline:(
I guess I could modify the code to allow this, but I can't remember what this entails ;))

Oh... that is something very wrong there... very wrong and I am unsure how my wrapper could cause that...
I see you run FRAPS? Try to disable any of the overlays...
Overlays and wrappers are a bad thing in general...

BTW, awesome game and very nice looking in 3D.....old school shooter. However.... any fixing I try to do in the VS alone will not work (and from what I see it doesn't extend the planes, just breaks the rendering of decals, specularity, etc..)
In any case here is the VS + PS;)
VS:
And the PS:
Maybe you can make some sense of it?:))
I didn't have a lot of time to look at the PS, but I can say one thing clearly... Is not a VS issues:( (I tried everything I could think of...)
The PS looks like is also part of a Multi-Pass shader as well, but I like how they calculate everything pixel based/shading for best photographic result;)
