Can't play back 3D Blu-Rays with GTS 450 / PowerDVD / WinDVD - why?
I've just bought 3D Vision 2 Kit and want to playback some 3D Blue-Rays. But although I can watch the NVIDIA 3D Test images, I can't watch 3D with any software player I've installed (PowerDVD 13 / WinDVD 11). Can someone please enlighten me on what's the problem here? Thanks.

Everything looks good except for the driver version. While I haven't tried 347.09, there have been multiple reports of 3D problems. So I'd suggest that you use a previous driver. Try 344.75 https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/767088/3d-vision/broken-3d-bluray-playback-since-fake-3d-driver-introduced-unfixable-/post/4372247/#4372247 Also make sure that you enable hot-keys for convergence adjustments in games. http://3dvision-blog.com/111-changing-the-convergence-level-in-3d-vision/

I should add that almost everything is working fine:
[.]The NVIDIA IR Transponder displays activity[/.] [.]The NVIDIA glasses flicker[/.] [.]PowerDVD's 3D logo is enabled[/.]
BUT ... When playing back a movie in, e.g., PowerDVD, the LCD is not displaying 3D content. When watching the movie without glasses, I DON'T see two overlapping images. I only see the left (or the right) eye version. (Which eye's version I can see can be changed in PowerDVD 3D settings) I can watch 3D in every other mode (anaglyphic, checked, interleaved) - well, I always see two overlapping images. But I just DON'T see two overlapping images on the LCD when switching to NVIDIA 3D VISION READY mode. I'll give the older driver version a try now ... HTH

I just tried a 3D Blu-ray with Cyberlink on a Asus VG278HE. I'm currently using driver version 306.02. It works fine. The only problem that I ever have is with the audio, I have to change the output and switch it back before it works. Also it needs to switch to Fullscreen to work

I just downgraded to 340 (my previous driver version) ... EXCELLENT!!! Everything works fine here now. Gee ... I'll light a candle for that. Thanks a lot, man. You've been a great help. BTW: Do you have kind of a stock of devices at hand? What a coincidence that you've got the same ASUS at hand.

Oddly yes, I have several monitors, projectors and 3D HDTVs. But that's kind of due to the fact that my last upgrade was to a Radeon GPU and most 3D Vision monitors do not work with TriDef.

As are BIOS and Chipset and Windows etc etc etc... NVidia 3D works perfect. #D is great. Cyberlink 13 Ultra will not play 3D Blu-Ray movies (I have tried several discs [what feels like] Hundreds? of times..). Did you fix yours? If not.... Maybe its because a Cyberlink verminous sales technique is designed to update itself, and nerf your experience and force you to PAY MORE upgrade to Cyberlink 15 (which would also be a nightmare forcing you to pay more for Cyberlink 17 next year), so they can pilfer some extra money from 3D users? I cant think of any other reason they would make registered software so thoroughly and emotionally damaging to try and operate. Ah: Also DXDIAG says "NO PROBLEMS". Monitor? Asus 27-inch 3D Monitor with inbuilt 3D relay device.

Have you enabled 3D in the control panel and passed the setup wizard? Sometimes those integrated emitters are buggy and require you to unplug the monitor to reset it. I just tested driver 359.00 W7 64 Asus VG278HE PowerDVD13 Ultra build 13.0.22617.3519 with Madagascar 3. It worked without any trouble. It nags me to update, but I never do until I get a disc that needs newer DRM.
