Yes. I used a free program called ImgBurn (http://download.cnet.com/ImgBurn/3000-2646_4-10847481.html) to create an ISO of Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. I mount it using Daemon Tools and can play it in 3D using Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre 3.

I confirm that Mark II not compatible with Vista.

But using Win 7, actually Mark II can even play 3d bluray with nvidia 9800GT which is very low end video card, certainly it depend on your cpu

My system:

system:

Q6600 HP 4 core 2.4

3G ram

Win 7 64 pro

Geforce 8500 GT newest video beta driver 296

Acer H3650 HDMI Connection

Nvidia 3 D vision with 1.33 driver

play perfect even with virtual 3D bluray but with Vista 32 it just doesn't work, also Total Media 3 will say hardware not compatible, that means mark II is less demanding on video card. Aslo link is HDMI 1.3 that means don't need 1.4. Install Nvidia display driver is total pain in the ass, but I finally did it. If have any question, you can ask me.

This is what Cyberlink said:

"Dear Mark,

Thank you for contacting CyberLink Technical Support.

I understand that you wish to know why 3D Bluray playback with nVidia 3D Vision is not supported in Windows Vista.

In response to your concern, this is because of the PowerDVD 10 software specification with nVidia. "

LOL. Talk about a non-answer. I guess it doesn't matter what the reason is. I'll upgrade to win7 when there are more 3D blurays available. It's not worth the hassle at this point.

Same here I had Vista and just last night upgraded to Windows 7. With Vista the green light would never activate no matter what I tried but now with windows 7 it works like a charm, even with my specs:

q6600 (Overclocked 3.4)
two 8800 GT's in sli
4 gigs of ram
Windows 7 64bit home premium
Acer H5360

I've got a 260 GTX running the 1.33 driver set and I just can't get the Cloudy 3DBD to play in 3D mode at all. The screen goes black/purple and the emitter never goes to full green.

Playing a DVD with 3D enhancement works fine.

I've uninstalled NVidia drivers and reinstalled

I've got the desktop set to 60Hz

Run the Cyberlink checker tool - everything passes

Started up as a 3D TV and then switched to 120 Hz sequential mode - same story

I dont have AnyDVD HD installed.

It seems others are having this issue. Has anyone managed to resolve it?

I think I have a region 2 Cloudy for what it's worth. Certainly PowerDVD is set to region 2, though the DVD I played back in 3D was region 1.

Thanks
Nick

it actually works for me, but very finicky
i have to watch a 3d bluray from start to finish as exitig out of fullscreen makes it not able to get back into fullscreen, the monitor will just keep flashing the mouse cursor, sometimes the 3d vision light turns on for a second then goes out
this means that every time i want to exit out of full screen, i have to kill the powerdvd process, kill dwm.exe just in case, then restart powerdvd and choose to watch movie from beginning, skip all the intro movies again and then seek to the point where i left off, and then the damn 2d controls of powerdvd wont go away !

Well I had troubles playing 3d blu-ray with the gts250 as my amd x2 5500 was not strong enough to play 3d blu-ray and the card doesnt decode it.

I decided to buy a cheap gt240 card £68 and it works like a charm.

Seems to work ok on the h5360 but on my 3D HDTV I have to set it to checkboard for it to display as frame packing is not supported via nvidia as yet.

Well, I've been having fun with the games so far with no problems and decided to give the 3D Blu-ray movies a go.

I'm got the 3D vision kit with the Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ and a few weeks back installed a Blu-ray player. Today I saw Cloudy with Meatballs in 3D in the stores and without thought bought it thinkin I could just pop it in and play.

Four hours later re-installing drivers and updates, I guess not.

I'm using the g260 on a quad core and have tried everybody's idea (turning off hardware acc in power dvd 10 mark 2) and finally got the emitter to go on, but the screen is blank, just sits there. I'm using the trial ver btw. I've read about the "any dvd hd and arcsoft" and was just wondering if any of you guys found a solution with the similar setting as mine before going gung ho on even more software.

Thanks!

UPDATE:

Ok, so with further info, I finally got it to work! Looks really good. The solution, Any dvd HD. It'll flash like its messed up for about 30 seconds, then eventually it boots. While playing the film I had no problem going in and out of fullscreen from 2D to 3D.

There is one minor problem and thats the navigation slider/control panel is stuck on screen. Anybody know a way to make it go away?

To make the navigation bar go away, don't use the mouse. Use the keyboard to start the movie and the media controls on your keyboard if you need to navigate.

I'm running a Q9450 quad core, GTS 250, 3GB DDR2 and have no problems running 3D blurays using PowerDVD (Win 7). For those of you wondering which processor to upgrade to, looks like a Q9400 Quad Core and above, together with a half decent video card will do the trick. THANK YOU! That worked! Also, another thing I think some of you might find useful that helped me. I've converted a few dvd's to .avi and mp4 format and found if you start the movie first and then switch to 3D, it'll work. I wouldn't recommend it. I also can't seem to get HD files (mkv) to work (just seems to flash off and on, on a blank screen). More attempts later!

For anyone interested in converting 2D bluray to 3D without converting the file to another format..... read on. Officially PowerDVD can't convert 2D bluray to 3D, but if you copy a 2D bluray's "m2ts" file(s) to your hard disk and rename the file extension to "m2t", you'll be able to play the bluray file in 3D. Results vary from very good to very bad depending on movie and scene. Within any one movie you'll find the 3D quality varies from scene to scene. Still in the experimental stages but interesting to check out because some scenes render better in m2t 3D format than if you convert to another HD file format and then watch in 3D.

I installed powerdvd today and I tried the BD3D for Monster House.

I ran into a problem I can't seem to fix: PowerDVD keeps changing the parallax. It just keeps increasing and resetting it at a nice loop of about once a second.

Very anoying and unwatchable. It even does so when paused.

Anyone have a similar experience? I have no idea if it is movie related because I only own this one,
