L & R Polarities Keep Switching! Mucho Headache! Need to solve a stereoscopic problem
[RESOLVED!!] So I just got my I-Glasses working tonight after the nightmare of trying some different drivers. But they work now with some very impressive stereoscopic depth. My only problem is that every so often the left and right eyes switch. It’s very disorienting (and I thought the driver issue was giving me a headache! lol). I am not too familiar with Nvidia’s page flipping method and how it locks into synchronization with the glasses. So I’m not sure which device is losing sync. I’m not sure of the refresh rate, in Nvidia’s stereo 3d menu I set the rate to 85 hertz but in the game I really don’t think its anywhere near that. Could that be a driver problem? The flicker isn’t too bad, maybe 55 hertz (+or- 10) but I know the glasses can do better. I was told they run nicely at 85 hertz. So anyways is this a common problem for page flip? Or is something losing track? Here are some basics specs on my configuration:

Headset type: I-Glasses SVGA/3D
GPU: Geforce MX4000
Drivers: display 66.93 / 3D 61.77 –(Mixed but it works)
API: OpenGL
Resolution: 800X600
Refresh Rate: is unknown, low enough to flick
Game: Original Half-Life

I would assume as a first guess that it’s the mixing of drivers that’s doing it. But I can’t find the 66.93 Stereo 3D drivers any ware. Is it out yet?
Thanks everyone for the help. This is the first 3d setup I’ve owned and hopefully ill upgrade my computer soon. A 7 series GPU sounds really tempting right about no
