nVidia 3D Vision + OpenGL2.0 Made possible
Alright, first of all I don't know if this was already posted, but I couldn't find it anywhere so I decided to just make a topic about it.
Everywhere you turn, what you get is that 3D won't work with OpenGL (at least with nVidia). Well, this could be incorrect.
I found a nice "wrapper" (don't know the right term) that is able to translate OpenGL 2.0 to DirectX 9.0
The project itself is called ANGLE (Almost Native Graphics Layer Engine) and to me it looks like it works. I can't test it 'tho, since I don't have my kit yet. Could anyone test it and see if it works?
Here's a link to the Google Code page: http://code.google.com/p/angleproject/
If it works that would make a significant improvement to S3D.

EDIT: Perhaps this was too much of a rush, I've checked it a bit and it looks like these are only libraries and allow developers to convert openGL to directX, rather than doing it automatically. But I'm not sure either, so if anyone could confirm...

The problem is that it doesn't work with OpenGL2.0, and the project itself looks pretty much discontinued.
Anyway I managed to compile Angle and enable 3D Vision (anaglyph, just to check whether it would work or not since I don't have glasses), and there's no way for it to work, they're just developer dlls.
I tried a few other solutions I found around, like TitaniumGL (that is 1.4 still), but it just screwed up rendering.
When I'll have some spare time I'll give a look at GLDirect source, I don't know much about OpenGL and DirectX when it comes to programming but I might just learn something and improve that, or at least try.
