There are so many variables, we just about need the engineers to start making housecalls! I really wonder how many of these are things like the monitor being tilted a bit or sitting too high relative to the user's eyes.

Well, as I explained - IF you have some ghosting on top and bottom - but there is close to none in middle - glasses are in proper sync than... and fault lies in monitor.
Some issue might be if glasses are not working correctly too, but in that case you'd get more middle screen ghosting too.
AFAIK your monitor is one of 1st 120Hz ones, so yeah... new ones are a bit better, but they also do still suffer from some ghosting aswell.

i confirm that disabling usb 2.0 + disabling legacy usb support produces a change on the sync signal
unfortunately the change is not in the direction i need but in the opposite one, so my ghosting is increased :(
for anyone with ghosting i suggest giving it a try.

Yeah, probably your monitor is fast enough for 100hz, but not for 120hz.

I have seen that the 275.27 Beta drivers have fixed this syncing issue. I installed the beta drivers and low and behold no more ghosting at the top at all for me! I have had a couple of very minor glitches but its a start. Cant wait for the fully released drivers :D
Also it seems to have fixed an issue I was seeing on my Viewsonic VX2268WM where I was getting alternating light and dark horizontal lines while in 120Hz mode.

As with quite a few others i was getting massive sync problems with this driver, it would start out with the normal ghosting at top at and then would slowly spread down screen until totally ghosted, then would do same over and over.
I have seen that the 275.27 Beta drivers have fixed this syncing issue. I installed the beta drivers and low and behold no more ghosting at the top at all for me! I have had a couple of very minor glitches but its a start. Cant wait for the fully released drivers :D

In my case the latest driver 275.33 dramatically reduces the ghosting. I can see only a little ghosting at the top of the screen but now I can say can play 3D how it meant to be :)

But I say it is a huge step forward.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but what happens to the ghosting now? I have brought a PCIe 3.0 USB card but it doesn't solve the problem. the new displays use better panels (stay away from CHI MEI) and they have firmware tricks where they set up the overdrive so that the ghosting across the entire screen is uniform (different overdrive values for different parts of screen)
