Petition: Please allow mod support for VR Direct. [3DMIGOTO/HELIXMOD]

+1 for sure. 3d vision vanilla support is average at best without mods, if VR Direct doesn't support mods I'll wait to see what AMD does in the VR front.

+1, signed It would be a clever move from NVidia, and also from Oculus VR - who, I'm sure, have their word to say -, to dramatically increase the catalog of compatible games. Given the enthusiasm of the public around VR, I am confident that NVidia won't miss that move.

+666 I did find it quite humorous that support from NVIDIA for 3D Vision has been extremely lackluster to absolutely non-existent in the past few years and as of late it's been an absolute train-wreck, continuously breaking or taking away things [actual 3D Vision] users rely on to make it work properly. It's been their bastard son of tech/support ... yet here they are touting 3D Vision support for VR like it's some sort of golden child once again ...

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you Eqzitara, and also everyone else at Helixmod for your selfless efforts in helping to provide a wonderful and at times, a quite breath taking gaming experience on the PC. I've been fortunate enough to afford high end PCs over the years, with the specific aim of being able to run high res graphics in stereoscopic 3D. Having recently acquired the DK2 version of the Oculus Rift, I tried out Elite Dangerous. The experience was exactly what I'd hoped for. David Braben knows his stuff, and he and his team have been far sighted enough to include support not only for the Oculus Rift, but also for (in due course from what I'm lead to believe) 3D Stereoscopic setups such as 3D Vision, and of course TrackIR, both of which many of us use. May I say though, that as a user of both of these types of technology, I still thoroughly enjoy and hopefully will continue to enjoy, games using nVidia's 3D Vision 2 setup on a monitor for as long as it's possible. Who needs 100+ mods in Skyrim, when all it needs is 3 or 4, because stereoscopic 3D does the rest. I sincerely hope that you'll be able to be in a position to do for VR, what you and others have done to such great effect for the 3D monitor.

@TsaebehT! Say what, dont you trust nVidia maan ;) Joke aside, I feel exactly the same, it's very hard to take anything 3d nVidia says without a big bunch of salt.. As you described so good, 3d vision are theirs bastards son and it really sucks that they have been treating the whole enhusiast community, you guys who have been making all those lovely fixes and they havent done anything to help. Just have worked against you so they are in a lot of sence, really big fucking pricks!

I've just bought a gtx 970 over a 290x because of 3D Vision and the amazing mods that been made for it. Hey here's a crazy idea Nvidia... Why not reward customer loyalty and help the community? And thank you all you wonderful modders out there! signed!
