Any Immersive adventure or space games similar to eve out there that work and look great?
1 / 4
Eve is listed under the fair quality in 3d section :( and darkness within 2 got horrible reviews at gamespot and other game sites. I love space type games and adventure horror games and would love to play either one. I liked re5 but finished it. Any recommendations for me guys?

You try Dead Space yet?
Singularity is a good one and FEAR 3 is coming out soon... (play through 1 and 2 1st though)
And don't forget Metro 2033..... if your rig can handle it :)
Gamespot is a lil bias with their reviews since they actually get paid from the game studios. Try looking at Steam ratings since they are rated by actual players.

No, foget Metro 2033 : waste of money. Whish I could have a demo of it, and I would have saved more than $40. It's always in the dark, nothing to see on the screen except a small circle of your torchlight. I played less than 2 hours with it and give up.

Kitarolivier, you should really give Metro 2033 another chance. For me it has been the best s3d experience. I played on "normal" video settings, and the game looked amazingly beautiful. Maybe you need to turn the brightness up a bit?

Dead Space has too many issues in 3D, even when you start turning things like bloom and shadows off. Metro 2033 is a great game IMHO but then everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

No, don't move contrast kill slider!! ( Brightness amount = contrast kill. And yes. Its fatal)
Get a DLP projector with high gain screen ( hint . hint)

Check out X3: Terran Conflict. You'll find the reviews are all over the place, and with good reason. It's a *very* different sort of game. If you're a patient gamer that enjoys long, complex games then this is paradise. If you just want something to pew pew pew at for two or three dozen hours, better look elsewhere. It's also very much alive and the developers are still handing out free content and patches for the game.
(If Gamerankings doesn't give you enough reviews, I wrote a little one myself, too.)
I ran it in 3D real quick to make sure it worked and it seemed great. I didn't get in any dogfights, though, so I won't be shocked if there are gunsight issues.

He's right you know...don't turn your brightness this high, you will lose alot of visiual quality....
Turn it at a point ,that black(like a dark background) is just black and not gray !
If you do this ,then you will see much more detail.
Here's an example on how it (Metro) looks here...(on a Samsung monitor)

Will all due respect, although X3 is a great space game, it is too painful on the eyes for S3D. The depth of the star field is set too close so space stations and ships are often behind the star field! Not good.
However X2 is great. The only issue I found with x2 is that my glasses would turn off! The 3D remains on screen but my glasses stop responding. I have to press the green button twice to reactivate the 3D. I will prolly get shot down here but I couldnt find much that X3 brought to the table that x2 didnt have. Besides graphics of course. This might just be me though. Same issue with B&W2.

Try looking at Steam ratings since they are rated by actual players.

bet you love the cheesy , and cliche fallout3 tho..
On the other hand , mass effect2 fits the description, but without s3d support, I had to work on it to get it up to around 6/10 s3d experience. (not bad, started like 2/10). 2d experience 9/10 .

I ran it in 3D real quick to make sure it worked and it seemed great. I didn't get in any dogfights, though, so I won't be shocked if there are gunsight issues.
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
