I am getting frustrated with this. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate your fixes. This is the sole reason I bought this game. At first, you were working so hard everyday on this fix. Working together and making hundreds of replies in the process. But now this fix has been abandoned for over 2 months. Someone as skilled as you should be able to get the fix updated in no time. :) I understand you are busy with other projects. But I would appreciate if you could give this fix higher priority. Fuck off dude. He is not here to cater to your every whim when the devs patch/break something every two weeks. Learn to fix it yourself, the tools are out there. You're exactly the type of person that causes these people to stop.

WTF man. It's guys with attitudes like yours that will ruin this community. Be thankful, be patient. It if doesn't happen as fast as you want it to, TOO FUCKING BAD. I think I've only ever posted in this forum once, but your post was horrible enough to make me reply.
To the modders,
Thanks again for all the hard work. Fuck this guy.

@flyoffacliff
You have to understand than NO ONE IN HERE is in the obligation to make a fix for a game, or maintain an existent fix...so when you post that kind of stuff, you will get that kind of response. You can contact devs and rant over there (you pay money to devs), but not here.
If the fix is not maintained so quickly...or at the speed you expect....you can try to fix yourself. Normally updates break fixes, but the patterns are the same....so is easier....Also bo3b put a lot of time and effort in the School for ShaderHackers (http://wiki.bo3b.net/) for everyone...and for FREE!!
So use your time, read, learn and fix the game......and share with the community in the same way as we do.

I think things got a bit heated inside here;)
Please chill out;) I understand why one might be frustrated and I bet he's just keen on playing the game in glorious 3D hence the question ;) I know the way he formulated the question is not "exactly" the best way about it but I believe what he actually wanted to ask is something like "Will there be an update for this fix in the future at some point ?" :)

I'd encourage you to take on the update yourself. For games that are your personal favorites you owe it to yourself to give it a try. There is nothing more liberating than being able to fix some of these things yourself- you don't have to wait, you don't need permission.
To update a fix like this, since the pattern is already understood, all you have to do is hunt the broken shaders, and apply the same pattern that you find in the fixed shaders. It's literally copy/paste, with the added complexity of finding the exact right shaders to fix. You can do this.
The simplest possible fixes are just disabling effects. The second simplest are copying a known good fix pattern into broken shaders. This is the sort of stuff that I do a lot (like in Alien, or Mordor, where Mike figures out the pattern, and I apply it to all the straggler shaders).
One of the bigger problems we have as a community is these updates. The clumsy oafs as developers don't even know we exist and could care less, and roll over and crush our fixes by accident. It's asking a lot to keep hundreds of fixes working, so we need more people willing to step in and refix games after they are busted.
It's also opportunity cost- it doesn't really make sense for Mike to drop working on Fallout 4 to fix this. He's one of the few people who can do that level of work. I can do these sorts of updates, but I don't own this specific game, and the opportunity cost for me is that fixes for 3Dmigoto don't get done.
This is why I'm keen on getting more people into fixing, and there is nothing more motivating than your favorite game.
Please give it some thought, you'd help yourself as well as anyone who wants to play this game now.

Having felt somewhat guilty about my earlier reaction, which was rather extreme, I went back and looked at this. I have the latest game patch 6 installed, so I used that to find and fix problems, which were all to do with car models. The updated fix is here: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2015/06/project-cars-beta-10-3d-vision-fix.html. Let me know of any outstanding issues.

You're the MIKE... the SUPER-MIKE !!! ;))
Big thanks for updating this one!
I am not a fan of this game or driving games (since I love driving an actual car (missing the German Autobahns right now)) but is really awesome that you took the time to update it !!!
I know that you put a smile back on some of us "kids" :)
