Finally I got the beta key today and had a quick look at Secret World Legends (until the arrival at Kingsmouth). The game seems to use the same graphic engine as TSW and I could not discover any "improved graphics" that caused more issues compared to TSW. So the same hotfix provided for TSW above works with SWL. Only the new UI has some minor issues when using my hotfix to push it to more depth. I would also recommend to dissable the new laser sight (can be done in the interface options). Disabling doesn't hurt so much as You can still aim over the character's head and You don't have to aim precisely but only roughly choose a direction for Your skills.
Personally I don't plan to change from TSW to SWL as I don't want to loose all the progress I have made in many years of playing TSW. So I won't update the TSW hotfix for the new UI of SWL.
Nevertheless SWL should offer a good S3D experience. If You are interested in a MMORPG with modern setting and great stories which can even be played as a good "single player RPG" give it a try - it's free to play...

My original display name is 3d4dd - for some reason Nvidia changed it..?!
Indeed :) I could not see any differences so far at least at high graphic settings. As the release is quite close now I can't imagine that they will introduce fundamental changes to the lighting system etc. in the final version.

As mentioned above I didn't switch to SWL but remained at TSW. As TSW was said not to be patched any more I was quite surprised to discover that my earlier fix for the grass issue didn't work any more as its shader has changed. So I refixed it. So far I couldn't see other changed shaders that I had fixed before. It also seems to me that the issues with shadows in the distance are not visible even with low values for RenderSetting_GroundLODRanges. Maybe this tweak isn't necessary any more.
The updated fix can be downloaded here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/3d4dd/TSW_3d-fix.zip
As I don't play SWL I don't know if they had changed the shaders for this version, too. But as my older version of the fix worked with the SWL beta I hope that the (updated) fix also works with the actual SWL.
