Blue Screen Everytime
So, I have gotten a new PC. Ordered the whole kit from Tiger Direct. It included the 3D Vision kit. Found out I couldnt use my XP Pro for the 3D Vision.. ok fine. So I went with the dual boot, using Windows 7 as the other boot. I loaded up the 3D Vision software, got thru the install fine, but everytime I actually start up the 3D Vision, I get a BSOD.

Most of the time I get a "stop: 0x000000C5"

But not always, I have gotten multiple errors:
Bad_pool_header, Bad_pool_caller. 0x00000019, 0x0000008E, 0x000000C2, and others.

It is frustrating that I cant get this to work. I have gone and updated the Bios, the Nvidia chipset driver, and the Nvidia graphics drivers, but still nothing seems to be helping.

Any ideas?

There are lots of useful information about them on the net, google it using their hex messages ie. stop: 0x000000C5 and you will get tons of links for help solving it. Good luck and do come back to tell us about your happy ending.

Seems like this particular stop XC5 error is most likely attributed to driver corruptions. You may need to check all your device drivers and reinstall the one that got corrupted.

Did you try to reinstall/update the driver for the USB infrared emitter? You can find it on the 3D Vision CD (it's in the downloadable version as well) in the USB Driver directory. It is most easily updated via the Windows device manager.

I am using windows 7 with 3D vision, just hooked it up last night. Everything was working fine until I updated windows using windows 7 then blue screen every time. I deleted all the updates and went to bed before reinstalling the drivers but i am sure that will work, cant wait to get home from work. One thing you might want to do is del all the hot fixes that windows gave you and then you might have to reinstall the drivers for 3D vision again. Also from what I found out so far is the graphics card drivers work better if you use the one that it comes on the new CD, seems to sync better with the 3D drivers. Now only if I can get the nvidia 3D movie demos to work on Windows 7 ><

Everything works for me opn windows 7 64 bit, have 260 in the graphics card slot. Games, the movies, jps photos. The only thing with movies is as theres no special tag like 3d jpegs have to open from open menu rather than double click after setting up permitions as windows cant tell.
