Wow, really weird. Strange approach on their part. I sort of see what's happening though- The game itself was written using OpenGL, and compiles at runtime like usual. Which is why Helixfax's wrapper can see the shaders. Then, they use a DX device as their target, probably because that's what runs on nextgen consoles. As far as I know there is no OpenGL layer/driver on next gen consoles. Edit: actually looks like PS4 is native OpenGL, Xbone is DX11. So this is maybe the layer to handle that stupidity so it works on both consoles. In either case, since it's got a DX11 target as the destination, 3Dmigoto can see it and wrap it. By that time, the shaders are binary, and 3Dmigoto only works on binary anyway, and can see and turn them back into HLSL. So for this game, we have an OpenGL to HLSL converter. As far as the 3D not kicking in, that's part of automatic mode, and could be all sorts of things. Since the render target is DX11, that's where we'll need a fix to get it to run. Are there games where profiles affect the cut-scenes? Make them 3D? If so, that profile might work here.

Yep....very very weird. Today i will try some profiles with this game, and also want to import one modified OGL profile (by helifax)...i will grab the WOLF modified profile and test. if that don't work, i'm out of ideas. @bob, there is chance to bypass or force 3D with 3Dmigoto? i suppose you have to put some extra code on it.

tridef seems to work, some1 created a profile, and defo got something about it, been playing it for a short while now and their is a small halo around the char but everything else is great,

Yes. If the current force mode operations don't work, then I'd need to do some serious debugging and experimenting to figure out what is happening and get around it.

I tried AC4 and others profiles, none kicked in 3D... I understand perfectly and agree that you don't want to loose time on this for the moment. thanks

Somehow missed your post. For all the OGL games basically I added 3 bits in the profile. These 3 bits are in the last part of the profile... and are marked as unknown... Sorry for not replying sooner... Somehow missed your post.

For all the OGL games basically I added 3 bits in the profile. These 3 bits are in the last part of the profile... and are marked as unknown... Can't remember exactly the numbers by hard but are in the bottom part of the profile (when viewed with nvidia inspector).

If anyone here also uses Tridef Ignition, snake4196 over at their forums discovered the "Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist" profile works perfectly with TEW in P3D. I've only been gaming in 3D for about three months now, but it's easily the best faux 3D I've seen so far, I was really surprised. (Needless to say I prefer S3D.) I also recommend "flawless widescreen" program to remove the black bars and widen the FOV. Unlocking the framerate via console seems to yield less frame drops than setting it at 60 with my GTX 970. Now, if only someone finds a way to disable camera zoom while aiming...

I have an EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0 and the game runs runs just fine @ 1080p with black bars removed, graphics settings maxed out, FPS unlocked/set to 60 AND Tridef P3D enabled. The frame rate drops here and there but it hasn't been anything egregious. The only problem I've encountered was with enabling DSR; performance was horrible, so I went back to native 1080p.

EDIT: Some terrible frame rates drops in the last three chapters. I should also mention I'm running the game off an SSD. Regardless, I recommend you skip the game entirely or pick it up on the cheap, it's average at best.
