Well im planning to do an upgrade for my current 22inch 1680*1050 resolution to bigger one.
I was planning to get a 1920*1200 one instead for the extra height and there is no downside to having 1200 instead of 1080, who gives a freak about the black bars.
But the biggest resolution for 3d atm is 1920*1080.
Are there any 3d (120hz) screens coming out in the near future with a resolution of 1920*1200 (or higher.
Or should i just settle with the 3d Alienware Optx screen with 1920*1080 resolution cause i would be waiting forever otherwise.
On a side note:
Anyone here has the alienware optx 3d screen wich would wanna share their opinion about their 3d experience with it, and does it still have alot of driver issues?

There are no driver issues with Alienware 3d.
There are driver issues 3-way SLI in 3d or 3dvs but not monitors.
I have 1 and it is great. I so like it that I'm getting 2 more tomorrow for 3dvs (willing to wait for 3dvs drivers...).

It might not be feasible for most people but I've been gaming on 3 Alienware Optx screens with nvidia surround (leaked driver) and I like it a lot better than the 47" 1080p LCD TV I used for a couple of years. Also as a monitor alone, I haven't had any problems with the Alienware.

fro big DLp projection, but there is a limit of power use with DLP being 240-330w per unit. And for now a res limit of 720p in the mian (although this needs less of a GPU than 1080p!) LED laser DLP at 1080p should be here in 6-12 months and be 3d ready but may cost alot to start with.
in the meantime we should expect LED (not LCD) larger PC screens in the coming 12 months 23-27" which should be even better than the current AW and Acer. Although I'm very happy with the acer for 2d-3d.
For large 1080p right now some of the 3d tv's do seem to kinda work with N3d but how well and for how long remians to be seen. But they do show a 40" 1080p 3d screen could be well under $1000 for n3d in 12 months.
if you want HD 3d now Acer and AW are great (even though LCD). and would carry 1-2 years of having fun in 3d games with n3d before you replace that screen withsomething bigger and better.

If you're waiting for a resolution higher than 1920x1200 than there's no point in waiting, as the 2x1080p limitation is tied to DL-DVI signaling/bandwidth limitations. You'll also see 1920x1080x120Hz is similar to 2560x1600x60Hz in terms of bandwidth requirements, 1920x1200x120Hz is significantly more than 2560x1600x60Hz. I don't expect this to change anytime soon until Tri-Link and Quad-Link DVI become more prevalent in the desktop space, but the real problem sandbagging the situation is HDMI, which is limited to a sad 2x720p @ 60Hz. 1080p in S3D is going to be as good as it gets for some time imo.
After that its just a matter of deciding on size with Projectors or DLPs or if you're willing to go with smaller LCDs and go with 3 of them when 3D Vision Surround launches. Benefit of the first option is that its not nearly as GPU intensive as 3D Vision Surround. There's also the potential of some of the larger LCD and Plasma 3D Ready HDTVs but again, they'll be limited to 720p @ 60FPS in 3D Vision and their compatibility is still uncertain until Nvidia releases their 3DTV Play software and drivers.

Definitely dieing to see the release date and the price here in New Zealand. I know it's June and USD $549-599 roughly overseas.
