OK i am running the 3d set up on a Vision master pro 512 22" CRT screen and when i run the wizard it does not detect the monitor (althought i can get through the wizard no problem and see the 3D effects) only one thing does not work, i can not choose the Hz in which to run the program (i believe you are asked this to help reduce the flickering) does anyone else have this problem and how can i set it? (this is the only part of the set up wizard that does not show, the screen goes blank and then tells me to switch on my glasses and the wizard continues). I have tried different resolution and Hz for info.
I can run L4D in 3d no problem (i just change the refresh of the monitor) and it runs with a little ghosting but the effect is great (as any 3D user will know) also MEN OF WAR runs in 3d too (you can change the refresh in game) but when i run Company Of Heroes or Armed Assault the game reverts to 60Hz (the fixed refresh of the game) and the 3d makes me sick and gives me a headache (i understand it is because the refresh and and not the glasses themself!)
I am running Vista 64bit family premium with a quad core (Q6600) 4gigs of DDR3 ram and a 260 896 megs graphics card.
Is any one else using an Iiyama CRT like me and has it running ok? and do you have any ideas on why the wizard wont let me chosse the Hz so that it overides the Hz in game and i can at last play COH in full 3D!
(or any ideas how i can change the reg to 100hz or +

It shouldn't have anything to do with your computer, as long as you have that GTX200 and an capable monitor you're good.
Sounds like to me your resolution may be going up which bring down your Hz. Set your desktop to run at the same settings that work for Left4Dead and then load up the game.
Also, you have the latest beta drivers for the glasses and video, correct?

Thanks for your help but i havre tried all that (using latest drivers 1.05) - the problem is the 3D driver is not overiding the game Hz as it should.

There is an option in the NVIDIA control panel to set up universal settings. It allows you to setup general settings or allows the individual programs to decide the settings. There may be a Hz option on there.
