Vista 32bit Stereo an original question - honest
is there a technical reason why vista and later xp drivers dropped stereo?

The iZ3D stereo driver works with Vista, DualCore, 8 series cards so I don't think so. Nobody knows anything... except Nvidia. And they aren't telling their end users.

I hope a Vista driver is in the works. I just completely switched to Vista as it is more stable than XP (in my heavy tests). And, it is more quad core friendly than XP and uses my 3GB of RAM more intelligently. I can't live without Vista now.

All I can say is that a Vista driver has to be in the works! I hope so...
