It looks like Call of Duty 5 World at War won't work on my computer. I am running the newest 196.21 Nvidia and 3D Vision drivers. Is anyone else experiencing problems with it?
I did a fresh install of CoD5, and there were no problems installing it. However, it crashes as soon as I try to start it up. It just says that "CoD W@W has stopped working" and forces me to press the "close" button. Not very informative.
It was working fine back when I was running Windows XP, before I had a 3D Vision system (although I was still running on a 1920x1200 monitor). I have moved up to Windows 7.
I have been using NVidia photo viewer and Stereo Photo Maker (beta) without problems. Works great. I haven't tried any other games yet (I don't own any others, actually). I have also checked the box marked "Hide stereoscopic 3d effects when game starts." No dice. As a matter of fact, CoD5 won't even start if I disable 3D Vision.
Do I need more RAM for this to run? Is there a CoD 5 patch I need to be using?
Thanks in advance if anyone can provide assistance.
