Avatar: The Game won't recognize Nvision
Thats pretty much it. I had installed the game months ago, I played the first few levels until I could pick which side I wanted to go on. 3d worked great. I stoped playing and I go to get back into it now and 3d won't activate. 3D works in Blueray movies, it works in all my other games. But now Avatar won't work. under the 3d Options drop down menue Nvidia 3d is not an option. They only have the usual checkered, realD, Zld(something or other) and some other options. Its not listed. I have no idea why. I even reinstalled the game. I can't imagine why it won't recognize the drivers. And I only assume that is the issue. Has anyone had this issue? Are there Nvidia workers here who might be able to help? Can anyone help? I've exhausted all my usuall google expertise and can't find a single instance where anyone had an issue. I am interested in playing the game, but I would like to play it in 3d. I did spend all this money on a 3d capable system.

Avatar: The Game does not recognize the Nivida 260.99 drivers because they remove the USB driver that identified the emitter. In 260.99 the USB driver is no longer needed to identify the emitter, it is that driver that Avatar: The Game uses to enable the Nvidia 3d Vision in the 3D format options. I simply erased my drivers and wiped them clean again, and this time installed a prior driver version. 258.96 to be exact. Now the game will work in 3d. However my HDTV will overscan the image from my computer. It cuts out more then half of the image. This was a big advantage for 260.99 for me, because it solved this problem. It enabled me to remove overscan on multiple displayes. Since both displayes are capable of a native 1920,1080p resolution. There ends the solution. On another note, I'm going to keep these drivers for a week or two until I beat Avatar: The Game and then update again so I can have my multimedia entertainment system back. Thanks for all those who viewed the thread. Even if you didn't respond.

Wow that is super lame. Considering this game was bundled with 3D Vision at some point, I'd hope they fix it...
