I have opened a thread asking for the devs to provide plenty of options e.g. crosshair and shadow. I have hinted at 3D.
I would be grateful if you could support this.

my last thread got moved to the sticky about performance!
The Eidos mods seem VERY anti 3D so I have made another one here that has tryed to reassure people that all they need to do really is provide lots of graphics options e.g. crosshair and shadows.

Yes, unfortunately its such a stupidity , 3D gamers are customers like 2D's, they will also pay and support the game.
Your DXHR reply is remarkably similar to your TW2 one /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
Don't blame you mate. Saying the same thing to a different bunch of dudes can get very repetative! Good stuff though.
My eye sight has improved. I think I wore my eyes out, playing games, staring in the near distance. I understand my retinas are still focusing at the monitor but I believe the muscles are finding it easier to allign to distant objects. So much so, I can read car number plates from the required distance; this is something I could not do before I bought 3D Vision!

Surely if the game is optimised for ATI 3D it will 'just' work for 3D Vision? Everything just needs to be mathematically correct for 3d to be good right?

Game (beta) runs in 3D Surround, there are some issues but its at least playable, you can check a 3D Gallery at WSGF - http://widescreengam...eta-3d-surround .

3D Surround for what GPU? If the 3D works - (i.e. the shadows, lights, and special FX are all correct), then no need to worry about it.
I'm curious if anyone has the game already and has tried it.

Some of these pics look good .. while others .. I can definitely see issues such as floating lights and in a couple of pics the gun seems to be sinking in the screen rather then popping out.

Agreed, those shots are hugely disappointing -in most of them there appears to be no 3D effect at all other than anomalies (like lights floating at the wrong depth or skybox objects being drawn as if closer than nearby stuff). I hope they were taken from a very early build and things have improved substantially since then.
nVidia really need to start using the fact that something like 2/3rds of gamers have nVidia cards to persuade game devs to render things correctly in 3D. Any time a dev comes to them and asks for their help on ANY subject (whether it's creating a decent SLI profile or fixing some bad interaction between their game and the drivers) nVidia need to say "Sorry but we can't help you until you fix the 3D issues in your game".
It's not as if any game devs can afford to write off 2/3rds of their potential sales. If they'd had the balls to implement such a policy 2 years ago, by now every major release would have perfect 3D. Instead we're stuck with this kind of rubbish and "3D Vision Ready" games like SSFIV which are riddled with anomalies.
Cheers,
DD

You guys dont realize 3D gamers are very low percentage. Developers don't seem to care cause we arent much sales.
@DICKDISTARDLY
You want nvidia not to help companies to not help get game working w/ nvidia cards(large percentage of gamers) till they fix/use 3d(a fraction of a percent)?
