Same thing here :) I'm planning on buying the 47LW5500 as I'm really satisfied with how the Cinema 3D(Passive) technology presents itself. The TV however is a 100Hz one... Would that be sufficient for 3DTV Play?

3DTV Play would likely work through HDMI 1.4, but it's probably less than ideal far a set that's natively vertical interleave. You have all the scaling artifacts compounded by the interleaving for the passive display. You ideally want Half Top and Bottom format, or interleaved (but I don't know if it will take in interleaved signal).
I'd probably try the IZ3D Driver or the DDD Tridef Driver, both have broader support for Television 3D formats than 3dTV Play.

I wouldnt buy a passive TV based on your movie cinema experiences with RealD, the cinema uses two projectors that can overlap each other.
Its a completely different technique with a tv that has to use interleaving.
Its also very early days for passive displays, I would suggest you demo the screens before purchasing and get confirmation there will be 3DPlay TV support from nvidia.

Nvidia lists LW5600 in supported TV's. it differs from the european models in terms of refresh rate, american equivalent has 120Hz (NTSC is 60HZ, 50Hz for PAL), so my concern is if it's going to work on a 100Hz TV?

By saying "Cinema 3D" i was referring to the name LG uses to market their product, not the actual technology /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> I did demo the screens with BluRay3D, Side-by-Side MKV and Motorstorm on PS3 and the quality is better than i originally expected (keep in mind passive technology cuts the 1080p to 540 per one eye)
So right now the only question I'm left with is the 100Hz...

I bought the LG 55" LW5700 and I'm way happier than when I had either the VT25 or Samsung

Have you tried 3D gaming in checkerboard mode with your LG? (it's passive 3D,right?)
Anyone knows if Nvidia will support 3DTV for LG passive 3d modes like LW650S one?
Cheers

Are you asking if any 3D apps will run with Nvidia hardware and geforce drivers?
