This game is really gorgeous with your fix, thank you DarkStar and DHR for your hard work on this. It's a huge pleasure to play, pure 3D awesomeness.
DHR,
Maybe I did not understand what you were saying, but when you use the Photo mode the HUD disappears totally. No need for a HUD-off feature just to take screenies. You enter Photo mode, you move the camera where you want it, then you press Enter once or twice and everything disappears. Then you press you 3D screenshot hotkey.
Anyways, here are some screens of my own, I'll end up with thousands of them, I'm sure, that's how gorgeous the game looks.

The presets is toggle ON/OFF, so if you like you can play the entire game (gameplay) without HUD pressing "L" key. To look the maps and menus you have to press "L" key again to bring back the HUD (with HUD off all menus disappear)
For "Photo Mode".....got to photo mode in any time you want, and then press "L" key to remove HUD..so the image will be 100% clean....press ALT+F1 to take the screenshot, press "L" again to bring back the HUD....continue playing. In my case i can't remove the HUD in photo mode without this mod, there is not key or option to remove it (i will test with the enter key....i play with xbox controller)
Great screenshots!!!
and YES, the game is awesome in 3D...totally agree

This is one of the best games this year and one of the best looking ones We all got a chance to play in 3D. Hugh Thanks !
I still got not enough - hoping for some DLC because there is a lot of undiscovered locations and one character (after seeing all of it).
EDIT: Finishing story mode will give you some really good equipment. Worth to play after with some wasteland tasks and this new gear !

The last screenshot describes whole beauty of this game. I just like those locations. This game reminds me a little bit new Tomb Raider with all combat style and structures design.

Thanks Bo3b for always converting my shots to cross-eye, I'll learn how to do it one of these days, promise!
(just saw your other "Epic screenshots" posts where it's explained, will try to remember to do it, expecially if I learn how to do cross-eye myself. Is there a way to make one of those screenies full-screen for viewing?)
Yeah, Skaut, the game did remind me of Tomb Raider. Whenever I raid one of the camps or random locations, I think how awesome Tomb Raider would have been if it had the same "sense of place" as Mad Max.
I'm simply mind-blown by how the workd feels "lived-in" and how every fricking location has some little puzzle to solve and some secrets to find. You need to turn a wheel here, to lower a platform there, to blow up a door, to crawl through a stone gap into a secret area etc.
And there are like hundreds of such locations in Mad Max !!! Tomb Raider did not even have ONE proper "tomb" with proper puzzles and strange atmosphere to make you get goosebumps.
In Mad Max, every time I climb down a shelter/bunker, I don't know what I'll find. Maybe nothing, just some scrap, or maybe some feral dudes will jump me and make me crap my pants.
I agree, one of the best games of the year. Only Witcher was probably more deserving of a "3D fix" treatment, but this is a close second.
I cannot believe that I've played GTAV, Witcher and Mad Max the same year (and Mordor just before)!!! This is just 3D open-world awesomeness, unbelievable experiences, all possible because of this community here. THANK YOU GUYS!
Imagine if Batman AK would have been 3D ready as the other ones, or if Unity would have been fixable. Just imagine all these games, played one after the other, the same year more or less ...
We are truly spoiled.

You`ll be really surprised how great this game is. It is like a mix of RAGE game and Tomb Raider with less puzzles and more action.

Holy Stereo Mother of God!
Bo3b, I've just had some time to look cross-eyed and it's really really cool. I'm a convert, thank you.
I was able to do it immediately, and now I even like to look at the photo gallery in the Nvidia viewer like that, if I don't want to put the glasses on. It's fun :-)
However in the 3D Viewer the photos appear to have a wrong aspect ratio, is there something that can be done? When I go to Options, "Image Scaling" (and everything else, even) is grayed out.
EDIT 1
Ok, so now I've added two images, how do I display them inline? I see there is a button generating an img tag, but I'm too stupid to kow what to do with it. The attachments do not appear when I edit my post, so I cannot encompass them within the img tags.
EDIT 2
And Edit 1 made my attachments disappear (but refreshing the page makes them appear again, what a mess)
EDIT 3
I think I got it. By "quoting" Bo3b's post, I see how he's embedded the address.

@Zappologist: Cool, glad you got that working and can see them now.
For the viewer- there is an Option to keep the images scaled, but maintain aspect ratio. But, I'd recommend switching to StereoPhotoMaker instead. Much more flexible viewing options, although the shutter glasses part is not as good as it requires full screen.

Bo3b,
Thanks, that's the option I was trying to set in the viewer, but strangely it's grayed out for me. Maybe I'll try the other program.
TsaebehT,
The Rage and AC "vibes" are a given. Rage is in the setting, obviously. AC is in the progression/structure, which almost all open world games have nowadays even if they are not made by Ubi (unlock region, map fills with little icons, players compulsively make them all disappear etc). I'd bet Just Cause 3 will have it too.
The Tomb Raider vibe I got is mostly due to several gameplay elements that add up. Mostly it's the contained locations, a little puzzle in themselves, with things to shoot then things to discover. The baddies are also "unhinged" and they remind a little of some of the crazies Lara fought. Then you have zip-lines, tools like the crowbar, used to break doors and boxes with similar QTEs as Tomb Raider, fuel cans to throw.
Anyway, I'm having so much fun with this game, and I even discovered cross-eye viewing in the process! It is unbelievable to what extend this community here constantly enriches my life. Thank you all again and again!

Cross-eye 3D is pretty slick, especially when you're away from your 3D setup ... but it's also a great way to show people without the hardware what they've been missing. If you can handle any type of popout you can do it. The biggest issue I've ever found with it is if I'm too close to the screen, especially if it's bigger, I can't do it as easily ... if at all sometimes, so backing up a bit helps. Personally I think they look great on my phone and they're extremely easy to do on it.
So who knew you could use FPP in the vehicles? I was messing around, getting familiar with the controls again ... I haven't played much yet, when I double-tapped down on the d-pad and *woosh* I'm in the driver's seat! Lol. :)
