I hope surround gets fixed because 3d surround would be awesome. I have been spoilt by gaming in 3d surround, but you are right in that it is very demanding. I would consider upgrading to maxwell cards if 3d surround was working well. Thank you for all your tireless efforts to fix 3d gaming. I would be happy to contribute to a fund to help support and maintain 3d gaming. I am trying to learn more about how to attempt fixes myself but it seems very complicated.

Ok, the fix Flugan uploaded seems to work pretty flawless (Y) but i take to much of a performance hit from it (like GTA) which leads me to think maybe i should/can just run all my games in CM mode since i think it adds enough spice to make it more interesting but without almost any performance loss (in Witcher 3 at least) is this a somehow true assumption ? (going to test it asap)
Thanks Flugan Does your fix work with hairworks ?
It's the same "fix", so no. This is how the options map out: Dev Time: - 3DMigoto DLL + ShaderFix Run Time: - 3DMigoto DLL + ShaderFix - Flugan DLL + ShaderFix Hairworks is only 'not working' right now because no attempt has been made to fix it yet. This is only a couple of days work so far, and it will take much longer to sort out all rendering problems, especially as I am going on vacation tomorrow. Unless one of the other modders wants to work on it in the meantime.

I just installed the Updated Alpha 0.02 and turned off CM mode (although CM looked very good for a temp fix). The game looks great in proper stereoscopic 3D. I turned off Hair Physics but it looks as if nothing changed, the hair still reacts to physics and looks just as good as with it turned on. I'm running all settings at Ultra except for shadows (at low) and performance is great, very smooth, no stuttering and high frame rate. Even the shadows in the game look very good at low setting. I only played briefly to check out the 3D but I didn't experience any negative issues, I'll have to play for a few hours later today to see if I get annoying crashes, but so far its all good. I know you are not done fixing 3D issues, but the game at the moment looks really awesome, no complaints here. All UI and HUD features look good too. I'm using the latest nvidia driver 352.86 on a Geforce GTX980, ASUS VG278HR with win 7 64. Thanks for all the amazing hard work you all have been doing, just wanted to let you know its working and i'm really enjoying playing Witcher 3 in proper 3D vision.

Glad my hours spent debugging why I had compile errors on shaders payed off. Compile error -> compile successfully with fxc -> print error message -> entry point "main" not found -> scratch head -> realizing filesize == 0 -> finally check CWD -> copy shaders to new directory

I'll probably end up looking at the remaining shaders;)) So, if you encounter any shaders that are rendering wrong can you provide a screenshot + savegame there? This way I can replicate the issue and find out the culprit;))

There are lots of decompiler errors to get round manually as well. There are several "image in one eye" shaders that for now I am just disabling, but they should be sorted out. Then the most major thing to solve are the reflections that are off e.g. some specular reflections on floors, the reflections on the farm road etc. There are also some lighting issue son foliage that I think is a "one eye" problem, but am not sure yet. For these I have been unable to identify and save the shader, let alone fix it, so I think we may need to wait on bo3b's decompiler efforts. Another thing to perhaps try is HUD separation, maybe having the name tags at higher depth or something?
