Hi everyone and thanks for looking. I used to use 3d often and I never had any issues I couldn't figure out with some trial and error. But after a hiatus, I recently started using 3d again.
At first, the 3d wouldn't turn on at all, so i installed the latest driver but now the colors change and my glasses don't seem to flicker. Running the setup wizard, when it asks me to put on the glasses, the color changes from green to orange, and i can't see any differences with my left or right eyes shut. I'm stumped.
You guys are like gods of 3d knowledge. Do you know what I should do? Thanks for reading.

It is probably running in 3D Discover mode (red/cyan anaglyph glasses). What you need to do is go into the stereoscopic options on the Nvidia control panel and in the display type drop-down menu set it to "Nvidia 3D Vision Discover" (yes, that is not a mistake). Click "Apply" and then load the stereoscopic test. Then the drivers will correct itself and but it into the real 3D Vision mode.

Hi cyberreality thanks so much for the response! I got the correct 3d vision to start working again, after reinstalling the same driver twice (275.33). I'm not sure what happened but I think I set the 3d display to the wrong setting when I installed the driver for the first time and it wouldn't let me change it back unless I could pass the test. After reinstalling the driver and running the test again, it automatically reset itself back to normal, which seems odd because surely it should have done that the first time I reinstalled...
Kudos for all your help!
