3D Vision glasses have stopped working (won't turn on, red light)
For the past week now my glasses have not been functioning at all. I got my set just a couple weeks after launch and have had no issues up until this point. I didn't change anything in my setup, and everything else works fine. I didn't drop them or anything, it's just one minute they worked and then all of the sudden they wouldn't turn on, very strange. My monitor still goes fine into 3D mode and the emitter is bright green, everything seems to be fine, except the glasses won't turn on at all. Nothing. Not a flicker or anything.
I have tried charging them with a variety of different cables and from different outlets, but nothing seems to be working. When I hit the on button on the glasses it always turns a solid red, and then after a few seconds it turns green, but they still aren't actually on, if I hit the on button again it shows red again.
Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone know of a fix? If there is no fix available, does anyone know if I'm covered under the warrenty still even though it's been over a year now? And how do I get that process started if that is indeed what I need to do?
I'm really hoping I don't have to buy new glasses, the replacement ones are not exactly cheap, another $200 spent on top of the initial $600 I spent just one year earlier is a bit steep.

Could be a problem with the battery - not charging properly? Do they work if you leave the USB cable connected & power them on?

Dunno about warranty - I'm guessing they have 12 months but could be as little as 90 days depending on where you are.
They are an Nvidia product (unlike the graphics card) so the NV support channels might be your best option. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

mine died as well....would not turn on. I bought them in June so they were covered, I just sent them back under warranty (1 year) I was checkign the web and it may be a case where the battery is drained too buch and then wont take a charge. Some guy managed to "jumpstart" them (he had some engineering knowledge). Im awaiting my return glasses. Not a good sighn though if these things start crapping out. Im gonn make sure to always keep them charged from now on..hopefully they will last.
