I just get 2 days ago a new monitor wich support 3D vision, but basically this is a 3D monitor like any 3D TVs no ?
So 3D vision is dead (i still bought a second hand v2 kit because i always wanted to try it since i can't play in VR due to motion sickness...), but to watch 3D movies on this screen we can't use others glasses ?
There is a lot of TVs where you can use passive glasses.
In case i am making an emergency usb drive with windows 10 1809 and 425 drivers for a future dual boot... and after that if we change our GPU in few years we will need a computer dedicated to 3D vision.
That suck a bit, so no other company can work on 3D for computers instead of GPU providers ?

Well technically TVs work.
But there’s only deus ex. Md, rise and shadow of the tomb raider, dolphin emulator. That work without any nvidia drivers.
All 3dvision work on tvs with edid overrides
For games use community fixes

Thanks for reply guys, yes i bought PowerDVD wich is the best player for blueray but does it require Nvidia 3D vision glasses / drivers ?
Or can it work with generic 3D passive glasses (i do not have some of them today to try) ?

Well FFS, it would be easier to reply if I had any clue as to what display model you actually own, as well as any other specifics.
But umm yah, if it "is" a 3D Vision monitor you need to use Nvidia's glasses and emitter!!
You also need their USB driver for the emitter, which is no longer in newer drivers after 425.
Passive Glasses require that a TV or Monitor have a FPR installed. Google is your friend and can tell you all about what a FPR is.
