I can't view these for a while until I get home. Are there any issues with the game in 3D and can you play with high depth?

PCWorld Magazine posted the pics on 3DVisionLive...From what I can see it is 3D Vision Ready. Shadows ect. look perfect.
I think they might actually have gotten it right with this one.
I asked the poster to take more with convergence on main carachter.

If you just want a game with nice graphics and a meh story, go hunt down Drakensang: The River of Time.
I am quite sure, I will like the game. Loved the first Risen as well as the Gothics. The (as it looks) excellent 3D Vision compatibility makes ist a Day One buy for me.Â
BTW, the european reviews are not that bad, despite a few exceptions, ...lots of ratings in the low and middle 80s (metacritics)

Boy, Pirrahna Bytes was never known for cutting edge graphics, but man, this looks primitive compared to TW2 or Skyrim. I dunno, I haven't given a PB game a chance since Gothic 3. I'm also scared by the FPS on these screenshots listed in the top left. I'll wait for some feedback from RPGwatch before diving into this one.

This is gonna bust. It may be fun to some but I think its gonna bust. 2 months from now half price imo. This game seems to be a sequel of a game with a niche audience during a very busy month.
If your a fan of the series go for it though you will probably enjoy or if you can wait will get it cheap.

I'm waiting for more input, too. Risen was good at first but the ending was not good at all. Instead of testing my skills as a mage, they dress me up like a fighter and have me hop around on a puzzle!?
P.S. Metacritic is completely pointless. I really doubt most the people who have voted on this game have played it all the way through. If Metacritic had a way to confirm that you actually own and have played whatever game you're rating then I might trust it but, as is, I think it's hopelessly ruined by haters and fanbois.

I have the game. I played for about an hour. It is rated as Fair in 3D Vision. You have to turn off shadows. It is far from 3D ready. It is very playable but it is not the 3D Vision ready title I was hoping for. I loved Risen 1. One of my favorite RPGS ever. Risen 2 so far seems good but the 3D can only be considered a disappointment. It is very playable and the convergence is configurable etc. However, the game has some issues with lighting. It's as if when you run into a room the lighting effects repostition themselves. I'm not sure if this is will be fixed in a game patch or a Nvidia patch. I am using the latest Beta drivers with the SLI patch for Risen 2. I would be curious if anyone had a better experience with another set of drivers.

Great - another Alan Wake with deceptive 3D Support claims. We had to disable shadows in the first Risen because they rendered wrong.
We might have to hope the community here can fix the issues. I really tried figuring out how to contribute and make fixes but I am too much of an idiot I think.
