Payday: The Heist in 3DVision Any word on support?
I just did something i havent done in a long time, i messed up and pre-ordered a game before checking 3D compatibility. Maybe it was because of how similar the game looked to l4d2 and source engine that made me subconsciously assume that it would work well in 3D, even tho i'm pretty sure i did hear that its not source.

Hopefully there arent many issues with 3Dvision... If someone has heard mention of 3D support, plz share.

Shadows look very bad in 3D. No menu option to turn off shadows.
Either need a fix for shadows or needs an option to turn off shadows.
currently playing in 2D until there is a fix.
By the way, it's a very fun game, even in 2D.

Well that sucks to hear. I tried playing the game last night but it crashes on launch due to some USB collision bug with the game. The devs say i can get past it by unplugging my USB devices and restarting my computer and then playing the game, but it'll be a cold day in hell before i play a FPS without my G13 and G9x lol so i'm waiting for the patch before i play it.

I hate the lame shortcuts ppl always take with shadows and lighting that make them look like crap in 3D...

To be honest, even if shadows are fixed (or turned off), I dont know if I will play in 3D.

I use iron sights a lot. Accuracy is vital to conserve ammo. In 3D, I think I would miss more and run out of ammo sooner.

Edit: I forgot about 3D Laser sights. Usually, I play without 3D Laser sights, but I think this game needs them.

This game is intense! Either in 2D or 3D. It's so much fun. Dont forget to conserve ammo and save ammo bags until needed.
I hope it's possible to make custom fan maps/missions, like in L4D/L4D2.

I get a constant 120fps (cheap PS/2 Logitech mouse/keyboard). It's runs perfectly fine for me. Seems to be a well optimized game.
My only complaint (other than shadows) is open mics. hope that will be fixed soon.

On the steam forums, I told the developers that we need an option to turn off shadows in order to play in 3D vision.
There is talk about an upcoming patch that may add some graphic options.
The game looks fairly good to me in 3D, except for the shadows.

Payday: the heist is the most fun I've had since L4D and L4D2.
I will be buying DLC, for sure, and I *never* buy DLC, never.
