3D Vision Discover Color Improvement?
This is just a wild shot in the dark, but is there any way to improve the color of the 3d vision discover? That really is the main flaw for me. I do not want to pay 400 dollars for a 22 inch monitor, so I am stuck with this setup. However, I really like 3d gaming.

What monitor are you using and what type of anaglyph glasses? You should be aware that by using the red-cyan glasses the colors will be more washed out as there is actually a partial color reproduction which is technology limitation and not something that can be fixed with a specific monitor. There is another mode that is called optimized anaglyph in which there is an improvement for the reds, but still this might bring problems with other colors... and I think Nvidia is using the normal color anaglyph mode when the 3d vision discover mode is activated.

You just can't get any better colors with 3D vision discover because the colors are what encode what each eye sees. One eye can't see red and the other can't see cyan, and you can't replace that.

Yes, but depending on the anaglyph glasses you are using you may get better or worse results... the color reproduction of the display also can contribute to that, so there are some things that may help you get the best possible results from using the 3D Vision Discover functionality of the drivers... ;)

No, you can't improve the color with 3d Vision Discover. That's why it's free and 3d Vision (proper) costs $200 (+monitor) ;)

Ye, you can... by trying with different anaglyph glasses, playing with your monitor settings etc., but of course that doesn't mean you can achieve results like when using the shutter glasses and 120 Hz display... color reproduction is a problem in the whole way anaglyph glasses work. There are certain limitations in color reproduction that you can't overcome because of the use of red-cyan color filters... ;)

I'm talking about improving the results you get, and not about actually being able to see all colors and achieve results like with 3D Vision's shutter glasses... that is impossible with anaglyph, but it is free after all... so for no money at all or just a few bucks for different anaglyph glasses it is definitely worth to try out.
