I just recently got a good deal on a nvidia vision kit for 100. Its asking to remove my old drivers and add these? Will I be able to play games in 2d and 3d, like fallout 2 dragon age2, starcraft to name a few? I guess im confused if it its all 3d or nothing. Will I be able to run games in high mode? ( currently have a gtx 580 card. Do I lose anything by removing the drivers I have now and adding these 3d drivers on the CD? Thank for any help. Also if have software that says can 3d blue ray, can i see 3d blue ray with this also?

Welcome to the third dimension! Provided you have a suitable display (3DTV, 3D Montior, 3D Projector)
Go ahead and install the latest drivers for 3D vision and your graphics card from the nvidia website
It is not all or nothing, although once you start playing in 3D, I suspect you wont go back to 2D. (2D or not 2D, there is no question...)
You will have the option to enable or disable the 3D within games (usually Ctrl + T), no need to restart or anything during gameplay.
As for 3D Blurays, you will need to install either PowerDVD 10 or Arcsoft Total Media Theatre

Having used a lot of 3D displays, from the 23inchers to 60inch 3DTVs and 3D Projectors, I would strongly recommend putting a few pounds to one side to pick up an Acer H5360BD which is a great 3D projector, 3D is better appreciated on a large screen and provided you have enough space, you can get some epic 3D effects.

Your GTX 580 is plenty powerful enough to run games maxed out, with 3D Vision, with full Phys-X.
And any game that is DX8 and up will work with 3D Vision. I would suggest going to www.nvidia.com and downloading the latest 3D Vision CD. The drivers on your cd are probably outdated already.

Be sure to upgrade your powerDVD 10 with the latest patch from cyberlink. The unpatched PDVD 10 player is 2D only.
This software can be tricky, so PM me if you have a prob getting it to work.
