What happened to the wired glasses? They were supposed to be released in late June...
I can't find them at any retailers - online or locally. They were supposed to be released in late June according to the blog. Commenting was disabled on all the blog posts though after someone else asked the same question. There is no updates to the blog and the retailers I have contacted have expressed that no such product exists at this point in time.
So. Was this scrapped? What happened? I've been looking for a couple of weeks and have turned up empty handed.

They're out there. Do a Google product search for: 942-10864-0003-100.
You can usually find them for around $85-$90.

Keep in mind that the wired glasses do not work with 3D Vision DLP mode, so they can't be used with any DLP or any HDMI1.4 HDTV that is native resolution capable since DLP mode isn't supported.

I'm running an asus gtx 580 and an asus VG236HE Black 23" HD 3D Widescreen LCD Monitor running at 120 hz. Was just waiting for the glasses to go down in price the last year. (and this new model was finally going to be my saving grace in the price department).
I did a google search of the product number and there were in fact a few retailers that i had never heard of selling them indeed. But why is it that they haven't been picked up by retailers like newegg, best buy, and other electronics retailers? The only place i even recognized that sold them was amazon which even though I recognize and trust as a retailer. I don't currently support their business actions right now with their app store where they put peoples apps as the free app of the week and don't give the developers any of the earnings they should have made. (I wont go into details as this isn't the place to discuss it but here is an example: shiftyjelly.wordpress.com/2011/08/02/amazon-app-store-rotten-to-the-core ) I would really rather not purchase anything from Amazon at the moment and I'll be frank when I say I don't know any of these other sites or have anyone I trust that can refer me to them. Is there an expected time frame for when I can see these glasses at other major retailers?

Will the wired glasses work with a DLP projector like the Acer H5360? The H5360 can run in 3D Vision or DLP-Link mode. Will the glasses work in 3D Vision mode?

If the wireless 3D Vision emitter is triggered by a signal coming from the projector via the VESA sync cable, they won't work. But if the nvidia emitter is triggered by the miniUSB cable from the computer, then they will. In this case, the trigger signal that comes from the miniUSB cable to the nvidia emitter instead goes straight to the wired glasses, so no emitter is needed.
Is there a sync out port from the projector that goes into the nvidia emitter?

I don't believe so. I think the projector works just like a typical 3D Vision-ready 120 Hz LCD monitor when it's operating in 3D Vision mode; they'd be synced through the 3D Vision driver and USB port. The wireless glasses may be able to sync with the projector while it's operating in DLP-Link mode too, though.
I don't actually have the projector or glasses yet, but I'll be buying both within the next month so I'm trying to finalize everything I need. I was planning to get the wired glasses, as they're a bit cheaper and I usually use headphones anyways.

Hi,
I whant to buy four H5360 and 10 wired glasses, but I'm not sure if I can connect projector with PC via HDMI cable and make wired glasses work? So, just to make clear, projector Acer H5360 is recognized like output monitor? Am I right? So, I don't see any obstacle why this will not work? If anybody have some proposal, or direct expiriance with this setup, please share with us...

The glasses are out there now, just not in broad availability. Next week I will have some more info and URLs for you to get it at most major etailers.
