Okay so third day with 3d vision. Great fun. Something wierd is happening now though.
The brightness when i use it seems to like almost pulse ... its not a fliker cause its a smooth fade in and out but it just is in and out in and out. Sometimes it just randomly starts doing it and will stop. Usually if I havnt been using the glasses it wont do it right away but after a bit it does. Any ideas?
Is this only noticble through the 3D-glasses...? What card are you using?
Yes it is definitly the glasses. I can remove them and look at the screen and it isnt pulsing i can hold them to the screen and see it only on the lenses. I got dual 285s. I can't yet find a rhyme or reason as to why it does it when it is and why it isnt when it isnt.
I should note that it isnt hampering the 3d effects at all. It is just strange when I am playing resident evil 5 and the brightness is pulsing in and out and it looks like I am in a disco.

I guess noone else has had this problem? Should I be looking to return the glasses?

Sounds like it could be faulty glasses yep. Can you try them on another PC at all? Also do you have good line-of-sight between the emitter and glasses and no other IR devices nearby?

I cant check on another device. I am the only one I know around with a 3d Vision setup. No other IR devices no problem with a line of sight and only a foot and a half away.

I have tried different lighting in my room and that has no effect and the glasses were on an absolutley frsh charge. I have come to find it's worse in brighter games like re5 not so bad n batman aa

The glasses are known to 'misbehave' in certain light condition.
