3D Vision on 60hz LCD TV(tested) Finally answering the question 'Does it work?'

So your conclusion was that it doesn't work. That's exactly what everyone has been saying this whole time.

I'm using 60hz monitor and red/blue glasses. Games are maxed at 30 fps which makes sense, and PowerDVD does regular fps(24) anaglyph mode. The Nvidia 3D vision video player does anaglyph too, and its real 3d option works, but it's only 12 fps with fraps. 24 is less than half of 60 so why can't it at least show that? edit: The Nvidia 3D vision video player locks the video at half speed for 3d. I watched 48 fps trailer download of The Hobbit at 24fps with the real 3d option, and it looks smooth enough considering the trailer wasn't optimized for 3d.

The Nvidia player has not been updated in awhile, so update it. http://3dvision-blog.com/8619-how-to-always-keep-your-nvidia-3d-vision-video-player-up-to-date/ Then download and install SVP (Smooth Video Project) to get extra fps. http://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Main_Page Unless you are using an old video card that does not have acceleration.

Ok, finally I understand now. The only VERSION of 3D physically possible on a regular screen is anaglyph(red/cyan). 120hz does not help for the other versions unless the display has polarized capabilities, or is synced with shutter glassed. Am I correct? If so, my next question is: can Nvidia shutter glasses be synced to work properly with 60hz for videos? Thanks for the info D-Man. It also helps to use 3d video files(SBS, half-SBS, etc), even for anaglyph :D
