I look at it this way, sorry about the problems with TRI and Quad SLI however not sure why ppl thought that 3-way SLI and Quad SLI didn't work with 3d vision before Fermi comes out but it will work as soon as Fermi comes out? 3-way SLI and Quad SLI systems are a small part of th market at this moment, NVIDIA has more worries with an Overheating, power hungry, overpriced gpgpu card that barely beats an ATI 5800 card (actual gpu) in some games. Come on tri and Quad sli doesn't scale properly in regular gaming same on the CrossfireX side, and you honestly think that it will fair better in S3D. Yeah it worked okay in in 1.17 but did you actually get more FPS than a regular dual sli setup, I am sure they did some work arround just not to use the 3rd card. It all depends on the SLI profile.
Maybe they will get it right in the end. But everyone who both a tri 480 already knew what was going on before they bought it.
