New HDMI 1.4B 1080p 120Hz Capable?
  2 / 2
I almost loathe the day I have to go with 1080p 3d. I have a projector and do 720p 3d perfectly. Now if I want to go to 1080p I need to run SLI of high tier videocards(depending on video games release date.) It certainly hurts the wallet. I like my current plan where I use the second best nvidia brand of video cards for example I use a 580. I really dislike sli because of its issues but I will have to do that because nvidia always prices its newest video cards at ridiculous prices.

They only finalized the spec about a month ago, and some google searching indicates they have not yet released or published the specs publicly. The link in the press release prompts you to sign in, so you most likely need to have an Adopter account which undoubtedly requires membership/money to enroll. Members are probably bound by NDA so unless you know someone personally with an account, we'll have to wait until they are ready to publicly announce the new specs and products.

Do you have any idea about what is the time lapse between the actual state of the new stantard and the market release in new products?
