The annual Steam sale has started.
http://store.steampowered.com/
Also EA Origins is having a Black Friday Sale.
https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/deals/sale/blackfriday-sale
I thought prices on most games are the same for both sales. I'd suggest only going for daily deals though (should be your standard Steam sale practice). Probably not worth getting the games that don't go on a daily sale at this point though, as they'll probably go up on a daily during the christmas sales.

Christmas Sales are weeks away, so wait if you can. But like Pirate said, most discount prices will be the same, so if you absolutely must buy a game, make sure it's in the "daily" sale or already 75% off.
Many games are fully discounted already, so look at your wishlist. For example, I saw Hard Reset was 75% off (about 3EUR, will not get cheaper in the winter sales), although it's not necesarily advertised, thousands of games are on sale.

Yeah. People are saying the sale prices that got submitted are the same. So if it's a Daily, Winter shouldn't be any cheaper. And if it's a catalog of 75 percent or more, you're good. I suppose it could have a winter Flash for 80 - 85, but it's not a big loss if it's something you want to play before the new year.

Also a reminder to follow the 3D Vision Steam curation groups. I'm updating the first on this list, and I try to keep up with sales. So as the daily sales go up, I'll try and report in on their 3D status.

Between all 3 groups, you should be able to get a pretty good idea of how well a game you're considering performs in 3D.

Love it, great work. My first criteria of a purchase is "Does it work in 3D, if so, how is it and is there a fix?" lol.....then price....
Thanks for doing this......cheers.

I mostl buy games from 60% up, but A titles definitely under 10 and indie titles under 7 EUR... actually I own already most of the interesting games and the new releases from last and this month are of course still too expensive. So I will wait for Christmas sale to get Farcry 4, Alien Isolation, Lord of the Fallen, etc... I can already see the games getting a lot cheaper on amazon.uk.co too. :)

For this sale I got yet Castlevania 2, Banished, The Long Dark, Age of Mythology, Schein, Tri, DeadCore, NaissancE and Beat Hazard. Let's see if there will be any other interesting game.

Dont forget GMG's sale. I bought the evil within and rome 2 off them.
got castlevania 2, kane and lynch and ninja gaiden z off steam.
might buy the sims 4 and nfs rivals off origin, not sure yet though.
Wolfenstein still has the cap issue, yes. I tried it in 3D for a while, but it was too uncomfortable for me to play.
However, it was one hell of an excellent game, and you should definitely play it. You may find it more comfortable in 3D than I did, but it's definitely worth playing in 2D if you have to.

Shadow Warrior is 90% off for the next few hours. It's easy to miss, because it's been grouped with yesterday's deals even though it's only been on special today.
If you don't already own it, do yourself a favor and pick it up - it's 3D support was perfect out of the box (there's a helix mod fix to disable the lens flare / screen grit if that bothers you), so this is one developer that deserves our community's full support IMO.
