I think it only fair to say that 3d fury has posted a link here that encourages rebuttal from its customers.
Sad they feel the need to resort to these kind of tactics but I am far from surprised.
I have said what I need to and you have no one to blame but yourself for ending up with this garbage 3d if you buy there product.
I do not ask for a refund because I do not trust them after they deleted my posts that were just asking about blocking ambient light.
I will likely end my rant here so go ahead and flame me good for my opinion if you want but you were warned.
I was being nice. Really you want to add 3d to a none 3d display? For $550.00. Do you know what you can buy for that kind of money?

No sorry, i work for myself and i'm a customer just like crash27 is. I'm currently using their device with bitcauldron 3D vision max on my pioneer Kuro and the result is just great, however, i'm waiting for my 3D glasses to finally get delivered (should be tomorrow) so i would be pleased to give my view about it and if i don't like them then i'll ask for a refund, actually they even bought a previous hdfury i had from me and offered me credit against my new purchase, so i'm quiet confident they won't make any trouble if i'm unhappy.
I ended up here because those links are mentionned in their forums. However, what i'm reading here looks very inconsistent cause i already have the device running @ 720p120 and above as well as 1080p72, i also noticed that when infoframes is missing you have to manually force the 3D mode. That's all i have to say until the glasses hopefully get delivered tomorrow. Very basics stuff indeed.

Push a 120hz signal through the device and tell me what happens? In other words set your computer resolution to 720p@120hz from your grafix card driver and what happens? Mine does not allow this does yours? when I do this it does what I explained before. It shows as two identical images stacked and shrunk to fit the screen. This is a normal 2d 120hz signal just my desk top not top bottom 3d. Does yours allow throughput as advertised? If not what do you do when you want to use a 120hz 3d signal on your 120hz devise? Rewire it every time?

I can get any 2D signal displayed as SBS or OU just by clicking the 3D force button.
So i'm quiet sure you have clicked this once previously and you forgot to get out of that mode. Simply click again till you reach the 2D mode and you will be fine.
You should only use this feature when infoframes is missing, otherwise it will override any infoframes.

um no my I.Q. is 137 i'm not an idiot. It would take two presses to change it to top bottom. Besides all I do is change it from 60hz to 120hz to make it happen. I'm not touching the 3d fury. At the point I have the double image pushing the buttons on the 3d fury does nothing at all until I put it back to 60hz. I don't think you are doing what I asked so........

I can switch mine from 60 to 120 or even higher, no issue, what display are you using ?

So I got defective glasses and a defective 3d fury too then I guess. That's just great! I will try it with my acer h5360,my asus 27 inch 3d vision ready and my sammy nvidia 3d ready and see if it is any better but....
Probably defective though.
Well I'm not wasting any more of my life on this crap. I don't want to pay to send it back so. Thanks for the help it's more than they would do for me! I don't talk to people who outright call me stupid for no good reason. No matter the cost. I'm glad they were so good to you! I hope they can be good to everyone but I am done with them! I forgive them they just want to feed there families I guess.
Now I want to know if I could get a new one to work so I could post about it being defective but I don't need to deal with companies that talk to me this way or delete my posts because I disagree with something. They are welcome to keep my money and buy there kid a bike. If I ever get it to work on another display I will apologize for that part but the glasses construction is poor at best.

I have read several threads on several forumns of people successfully using the 3DFury with varied results.
People using it on 60Hz displays, report that it works decent but in bright scenes the flickering can be somewhat bad.
People that are using it with 120Hz 3D capable projectors are exceptionally happy with the results.
The glasses have just recently been released, so the verdict is out until I read more posts.
The one thing that would stop me from buying a 3D Fury is a post I read about a user that purchased one to use with his 6oHz projector.
He stated that he was never happy with the results, go figure.
But the thing is, because it is sent from Taiwan. it must be sent back to Taiwan. So it cost this guy $90 to return it.
Ouch, $90 international return shipping = deal breaker for me.
The thing is, the 3D Fury via a firmware update by the user can effectively remove HDCP. Which makes it great for using with certain compatible capture cards to record
encrypted streams. Due to persecution from the HDCP people, it is sold clandestinely from Taiwan(or so they say).
HDCP persecutes the innocent at their expense, while the guilty go unpunished. Handshake issues FTL

3D Fury looks like a cheap knock-off of 3Dvision. Looks like they are stepping on some toes as well, their video's are gone because of copyright issues: My link
You want to game in 3D and have it look pretty? Spend the money and get a good graphics card and a good monitor, emitter, and active glasses. You get what you pay for.

LOL, some people are just clueless. How is it a knock off of 3D Vision?
The 3DFury is like the Optima 3D-XL or Viewsonic VP3D1.
It is "primarily" designed to convert side by side and top and bottom formats into a frame sequential format that is compatible with a 120hz frame sequential projector.
It is better than the VP3D1 and 3D-XL, in that it offers support of more resolutions at various refresh rates.
It has nothing to do with 3D Vision. It's a 3D Format Converter.
It works well with 120Hz 3D projectors. I was considering buying one. I PMd several posters and discussed their satisfaction with the product. They had no issues. The issues are with peoples high expectations of trying to make 3D work on 2D displays with crappy pixel refresh rates.
Myself, I bought a VP3D1 because it does all that I need and had a great sale with a rebate.

So theres no benefit of buying one besides more resolution/hz options for a 3D ready projector, correct?
Like what can it do with 30hz side by side signal? I assume it would still have to downconvert it to 24hz framepacked.

So i'm quiet sure you have clicked this once previously and you forgot to get out of that mode. Simply click again till you reach the 2D mode and you will be fine.
You should only use this feature when infoframes is missing, otherwise it will override any infoframes.

They are welcome to keep my money and buy there kid a bike. If I ever get it to work on another display I will apologize for that part but the glasses construction is poor at best.

Like what can it do with 30hz side by side signal? I assume it would still have to downconvert it to 24hz framepacked.
