Damn you Helifax, looks like I'll be crapping my money away on this afterall =P
Buhahahaha;)) For the record it works with less problems than DA:I HOWEVER!!!! I can't push surround higher than 4850x900 at Medium + High Settings (or 5760x1080 on LOW). BUUUT My bottleneck is the damn VRAM...got only 3Gb on the 780Ti :(( and as they don't stack ...well only 3GB usable :)) The GPUS are more than welcome to PUSH stuff;) Also this is at MINIMUM Of 45 FPS and well AVG (or normally is around 55-60). This is a GAME where those 60 FPS really MATTER;) For example DA:I was MORE THAN OK to play at 25-40 FPS with a mix of HIGH/Ultra;) But this...unless you want to aim properly you need the 60;)) (Then again on ONE screen at 1920x1080 I get constant 60 FPS in 3D with HIGH/ULTRA. So, is up to you how you want to play it...but MAN those SURROUND environments are really PURE AWESOME!!! I actually got shot just admiring the view.... hahaha) I know you have Titans so you are saved here;))

I'm not sure why compatibility mode is even mentioned as no one would choose it over true 3D. I can also play at 100% depth with pretty high convergence. Combined with the game really nailing the 'feel' of Star Wars, this is one of the best 3D experiences I've had. Many thanks helifax! A few screens:

Holy crap this game looks good in 3D. Do the speeder bike tutorial and select first person mode by pressing C. Endor map is unreal. Turning off the HUD is good but you get no markers or crosshair though and you cant see what power up you've picked up. Seriously though this is easily the best looking game in 3d (and 2d for that matter)I'be ever seen. Sure its not got a lot of maps but they look and play so well. Thanks again for the fix. Truly jaw dropping, Noticed that when the shadow troopers lob a grensde it has something at the wrong depth when it stuns you. Thanks again for this. Cant wait to play the speeder bikes on the HTC vive if it ever gets announced!
Do the speeder bike tutorial and select first person mode by pressing C.
^^this (and then turn off the hud once you get the hang of it for a pure thrill ride) Also, I figured out you can use a keyboard macro to toggle the hud on and off with the console commands Ui.DrawEnable 0 and Ui.DrawEnable 1 so just record a macro that types that out including the "`" to open the console before the command & the enter key + "`" again to close it so: ` Ui.DrawEnable 0 (enter key) ` = hud off ` Ui.DrawEnable 1 (enter key) ` = hud on Just make sure the initial ` key press has enough of a delay to open the console. It also needs to be on when you want to respawn. Then you can take in the scenery or just enjoy the spectacle of the battle when you want and switch it right back on when you are tired of getting shot while staring at a waterfall or something lol...

For some reason my computer just must really hate the frostbite engine. Game loads up fine, profile imports correctly. menu looks good in 3d no SLI flickering so everything should be right, as soon as I try to run the tutorial, I get a hang with a black screen. Using the battlefront "ready" driver.

At soon as DICE add dolby atoms support in a promised up and coming patch, this could be one of the best games I've ever played. Imagine the tie fighters flying overhead in a 7.1.4 Dolby atoms config. No game sounds better than Battlefield and now Battlefront through a decent surround sound setup. I really wish there was a single player. As trying to be competitive online whilst using a pad on my projector is not possible! :D Someone needs to post this on the DICE forums as the developers MUST see how good this game looks and runs in 3D. Top job to everybody involved in this. It runs so well too. My single 980ti runs 4k ultra with no AA and very rarely dips below 60fps. I've noticed if I enable TAA antialiasing it really messes up. Like the picture freezes. I did enable while in game if that makes a difference? I don't like AA anyway, it loses colour punch and looks blurry! Thanks again everyone, i'm in gaming nirvana! Now that starwars and battlefield hardline are 3D fixed does that mean Battlefield 4 is too? The new community map and night maps are awesome in that game. Dice are still bringing out DLC long after the final content was supposed to be released. Dice are my favourite game developer. I knew they wouldn't mess this up, it even has an SLI profile for christ sake! Probably runs so well as it doesn't have any Nvidia games works crap in it. Taking about Nvidia game (doesn't) works, they have launch two new SDK for game works VR! :D Looks like Nvidia are going to support VR for at least 6 months! :D http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/matthew-wilson/nvidia-launches-two-sdks-to-bring-gameworks-to-vr-2/

Yes, the sound is fantastic as well. A while ago I got a bass transducer (aka buttkicker) for racing games which is great because you can really feel the bumps in the road etc.. but wow does it bring this game to life between the at-at footsteps and thermal imploders :D As for BF4 the single player fix has shadow issues for me in multiplayer but it looks pretty good if separation is set very low and convergence is cranked up. Anyone else tried it in multiplayer? Hopefully DICE will keep putting out new content for this for a couple of years as well. Once the new movie drops I suspect they'll be able to release more of the content that would've been spoilers otherwise. Having only 4 main locations currently is the one big negative but I can forgive them for that given the attention to detail they gave to each. Big thanks again to Helifax and the others that made these frostbyte engine fixes possible!
