Upcoming 3D Vision Driver Releaes A Gude to drivers coming in December 2009
Hi Andrew, just wondering if this new update will help us CRT users change/override the standard 85hz "Generic" refresh rate? Vista was working fine with the refresh-rate patcher, Windows 7 + Nvidia's new drivers, stuck at 85hz max, 1024 x 768. It's becoming taxing on the eyes, and my monitor (Philips 109B5) can easily put out 100 - 120 hz at this resolution, even though Philips has no new drivers available past Windows XP.
I can't tell from your post if you're using Vista or Windows 7 (you mention both) but RefreshLock has done wonders for me on Vista. I have been playing @85hz for over a month, but just started playing 1600x1200@100hz on a Dell CRT. Also can do 1024x768@120hz, but I can't stand the jaggies! If you're on Win 7, sorry.

Hi Andrew,

great new regarding upcoming driver releases. I know you stated exhaustively which changes these updates will contain, but is there any news on TriSLI support for 3D Vision yet? I didn't buy 3 GTX280s just to have one idling, as it currently is...

All the Best and many thanks!

Same deal here, impossible to get over 85 Hz on Win7 64 bit but works fine under Vista 32 bit via add custom resolution (1280*960@120Hz). I'm using a Dell P1130 21" CRT.

New drivers are online.

Driver version 1.19 could be found in beta driver section of nvidias download page

Edit: Installed it and found out that it do not work with my sammy dlp. I am really disappointed by now, cause my previus setup ran perfectly.

Arghhhh...

Installed the beta drivers; still doesn't work for me. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, anyone else having problems with version 1.19 not detecting your monitor?

Hi All

3D Vision 195.81 and CD 1.19 (includes 3D Vision & GeForce 195.81 drivers) are now relesaed. This should address your CRT and Samsung DLP issues:

Please let us know if your issues are now resolved.

What problem are you still having? Is it CRT or DLP?

here's the skinny on 3-way and Quad SLI. It works! I just havent had it benchmarked yet to update our support pages to say it works. I will be doing that hopefully before the end of the year. Rest assured though, if you buy 3 GPUs today, it will work.

Samsung HL61A750 (DLP) isn´t be recognized by the driver. Tried update, also a clean install with deinstalling previous all nvidia drivers. IR emitter is found and light is green. But no option to choose shutterglasses in setup.
Going back to 1.15 now...

Edit after installing old 1.15 over the previously installed 1.19 my TV is found again

Edit2: LOL, it works if you install 1.19 and cancel the discoverer. The Control Panel show nothing at "Stereoscopic display time:" but it works now.

120 HZ I DID IT! And here's how...

Booted off my old XP drive to take a screenie of my 120hz timing settings in create Custom Resolution.
Opened up Nvidia Control Panel, Change Resolutions, Add Resolution, Create Custom Resolution, Timing set to Manual, then simply (carefully) type in the #'s. WORKED. Thankgod cause I use a 21" trinitron at 120hz and 75 is horrible.

I did the above with beta driver released today BUT it wouldnt accept timing changes without doing what I just said.
Wonder if the non beta wouldve worked if done this way. Enjoy!
