I'm using a dlp projector, GTX470 SLI and the latest beta drivers.
I can't remember if I saw this before or not, but if I close one eye the image is perfect, whereas the other eye has a constant ghosting effect to the side of every object from the top to the bottom of the screen.
Other games seem ok, but I know AC has lots of very high contrast scenes so it's possible that I just haven't noticed it on the other games I play.
I'm guessing it's to do with the timing of the glasses ;-) .........

Not sure exactly what your problem is, but I would imagine that it is software.
take a look at the screen with no glasses on - are there more than 2 images there?
the reason I say this, is because if your timing goes out with DLP you get a very unusual LSD like effect where the colours shimmer and the whole image fades into blue, then green, then purple etc.
the reason for this is because DLP makes up the 3D image via 3 frames per eye, played so fast that your eye sees it as one constant image.
this means that there is never a time when the last frame would ordinarily be overlapped on the next frame. this makes ghosting on DLP completely impossible due to high contrast areas etc. its almsot alays a sync or software issue.
Certain games can produce double images via software or driver faults - you can spot these by checking the screen withour glasses on, you will see 3 or maybe 4 images instead of the usual 2.

I've just tried it again as I remembered that I'd forced ambient occlusion on in the Nvidia control panel.
Turning this off seems to have resolved the issue in this title.
Does anyone else experience this?

We are investigating this issue in house.

The glasses might be faulty as well though...
