Front Projector Screen to use in 3D
Hi All, I am in the Process of building a Flight Simulation Setup, One in 3D using ED Glasses and a Front Projector.

I was wondering what type screen I should use for the Best 3D Effect. there is a ton of Different styles of screen like Glass beaeded, matt white, Grey screens and such.

So any reccomendations on a Screen trype, I would like some advice by someone who has a similar setup and has good results with 3D and their Screen.

I use white matte paint in mine and it works great.

To keep the image as bright as possible (since you lose brightness with the shutter glasses) I wouldn't use gray. You will need to make sure everything is as dark as possible to prevent lack of contrast. Any light that hits the screen that doesn't come from the projector will wash out the screen. Also, anything near the screen that isn't black will illuminate when the screen is lit up and cause some loss of contrast.

My front projection setup is completely enclosed and interior surfaces other than the screen are covered with black carpet or matte black paint.

Best of luck to you!
