Thank you for your detailed response helifax! Recently, OpenGL games out more ... I do not know anything about programming! But do support OpenGL 3D drivers games, takes so much time and resources? Say! All games on your fix Id Tech 5, go to 30 fps in 3D? What other game engines run on OpenGL? Thank you :-)

That's a shame, will you be trying to update the patch? Been hoping to pick this one up before the end of the sale, but not if it's going to be in 2d.

Hi Helifax. Great job in keeping this up to date - Wolfenstein. Sorry not sure you released the new version. First time user. To advise the screen (3 x monitors in surround - GTX 690/WIN7 64bit) goes blank no sound then crashes after 5 to 7 seconds. (Note I have an Auxiliary Display as well on a GTX 590 (overkill)).

idk why but your 3d vision patch for wolfenstein gives me like 5 fps. But without the patch i get a solid 60fps. It was like that even before the patch.

I'm somewhat annoyed by NVidia in changing the way AUX displays have been ignored since Driver 327. I used the Display Port of the GTX 690 for the AUX Display and DVI's for 3D Surround. Worked perfectly. Now... I had to use a backup card (590) for AUX. I need 4 screens for work purposes as well. Look forward to the release. Cheers.

Just picked it up, 50% off! So do you have to set resolution before installing the wrapper? I ask because I sometimes use my projector (720p), and sometimes my monitor (1080p).

Updated: - Broken Age so it now uses the latest version of the wrapper. - Wolfenstein The New Order so it now works with the latest version of the game. @Pirateguybrush: Read the README.txt file during the Wrapper installation. It tells you all the required steps. You can also find the file in the Game's folder after you installed the wrapper. If you have a previous version of the wrapper installed remove it first (from Add/Remove programs).

Tried enabling 3d-vision on minecraft, but can't get it to work. Problem is that there's a lot of different versions as well. Minecraft uses java and a library called lwjgl to render it's graphics to opengl. The render code has been completely rewritten as the game gets developed more and more. So old versions seem to use different methods then newer versions. I tried getting it to work on 1.6.4 and 1.7.2, which are the ones people are mostly using nowadays. You can't run the wrapper on minecraft itself, with me it only works if I install it into the program files/java/jre/bin folder. javaw.exe is what needs to be attached to the profile in nvidia inspector. (again, not minecraft.exe) The log of the wrapper however, does end up in the minecraft directory. With 1.6.4 I can manage to get into 3d-vision mode. But the left eye displays a white screen and the right shows the 3d scene. On 1.7.2 enabling 3d vision seems to work and I get both eyes showing the same view. So then it was on to dumping the shaders. Which it doesn't do. Not in 1.6.4, nor in 1.7.2 I can't find any folder with them being created whatsoever. So I figured, maybe they don't use glsl? But then there's the modding community. It requires a lot of knowledge and careful reading but it is possible to install a mod to minecraft that enables glsl shaders. I tried using karyonix shader's mod for 1.6.4 and one for 1.7.2. That mod just enables shaders but doesn't add them. The most popular shaders package you can use for the shaders mod is called Sonic ether's unbelievable shaders. Or SEUS in short. There's many versions of those but I tried the latest 10.1 - standard version. I can get the shaders enabled on 1.7.2 and working. So then I went on trying to enable the 3d vision wrapper on that. Resulting in the main screen being black. If you are familiar with how the interface works though you can blindly click your way through it to start a level. Once in the level, it does show with 3d-vision enabled. So then I tried dumping the shaders, again no folder being created. Not in the java directory, nor in the minecraft folder. I'm clueless as of how to proceed. I do know the latest 1.7.2, without the shaders mod, also now has shaders of itself. They're disabled by default. But if you go to the options there's a button called 'super secret settings', which cycles through different shader filters so you can play the game with all sorts of funky graphics. I knew there was a setting for fsaa in there so I wanted to try to get it working with that. Problem now though is that that means that it switches shaders in-game. Which the wrapper doesn't like. It crashes the moment you push this 'super secret settings' button. And minecraft doesn't save that it was running in the shader mode. So you can't start-up in that mode either. It has to be switched on in-game. My last idea is that I might try using minecrafts own 3d mode. It has 3d support. But only for the anaglyphic red/green glasses. Maybe that's a shader. Again I can't dump it. Even if I could, I doubt I can set it up so it renders the red and blue in full-color and separated. So there you go. There's so many ways to run minecraft with different graphics setups and shaders. Modded and not modded. And none of them seem to work together with the wrapper as far as I know. Maybe if I could somehow dump the shaders I could get further. I'm not sure where that goes wrong. Writing rights in the program files/java/jre/bin folder perhaps or something else. There was 3d-vision support a long time ago on a version of minecraft that's not really in use much anymore. The mod for that however never has been updated anymore and doesn't work with the versions in use now. There's also a mod for oculus rift support, maybe there's possibilities there. I do know it can render quad buffer opengl. But that ofcourse only works on the quadro cards. It's all getting a bit over my head at the moment. Been struggling with it for hours today. I've even gone so far as to install the complete development environment for minecraft mods. Java, gradle, intellij idea and minecraft forge etc etc. Which allows you to create your own minecraft mods. You can read and change the minecraft sourcecode and make mods. I've even found the rendering sourcecode. But it's mostly all gibberish to me and I'm not sure if there's modding hooks for rendering in there. I know how to program but never done much with java and programming opengl code is a different beast altogether.
