3D Vision Compatibility Mode "Unleashed"
  10 / 25
Tried this with Destiny 2 pve and didn't get banned, at least not yet, but the game is unplayable. Shadows are messed up - in some places left eye sees some weird shadowy artifacts which messes up the picture. When I active the Unleashed Mode it goes on and I can hear that "TADA" sound but I can't change any values. Only Nvidia's own depth and convergence adjustments work. F10 and F12 didn't do anything. I run the program as an administrator. I'm using Windows 10 and latest nvidia driver.
Yes, it would be quite interesting to see if a new driver will help out. If it will, I could then go back to Windows 7 (somehow again) and try that driver and see what is particular about it:)
I have tried 417.71 and 418.91 with AC:Odyssey. Both with the same result I had with 416.34: the profile update works, CM is enabled and rendering, but when I press sh+ctrl+t the tool stucks at "Detecting entry point for separation patching..." :(
Now I was getting some weird graphic asnamoly around edges of the Cockpit glass in both games.. I was wondering if this artifact is normal with CM Mode??
Yes, it is. In real 3D two different perspektives for two eyes are rendered. Like in real life each eye sees a different part of the background behind an object (try it by yourself!). In CM only one perspektive is used (=2D image) and the information about different depth layers are taken from the depth map. But the 2D image only contains the information about the part of the background which ONE eye can see, the information for the other eye is missing. So the missing information about the background has to be extraploated. It seems to be done just by stretching the edges. The result is the characteristic "halo" around objects in the foreground. You can reduce it by using lower convergence and higher separation instead (thanks to CM unleashed). And if You play hundreds of hours in CM like me You will learn to ignore it ;) I used to look at it like some "depth of field" effect. I think the original profile from Nvidia doesn't activate CM so You need to use the profile for Assassin's Creed Unity to enable CM in Destiny 2. I use this profile and it works fine with Destiny 2. Or You can try to use the ini Helifax posted above for AC:Odyssey and replace GameExecutable="ACOdyssey.exe" with GameExecutable="destiny2.exe". This should update the Destiny 2 profile with the necessary CM strings.

Destiny 2 has some aggressive anti-cheat software as far as I know so it's probably not gonna work unfortunately. When I was playing it not even the shortcut for taking 3D screenshots was working...

@ddr0390: That is very weird... Yes, I didn't expect to be a driver issue. The signature is strong and shouldn't fail. For some reason though, something else seems to fail on your system. (Not sure what). You are on Windows 7 (What version Ultimate/Pro/Home) ? I will give it a go on Windows 7 again and see. Can you try other games that worked with the CT Table? and see if they work (like RE2)? I want to see if it's something related to this game or something relating to the system. Many thanks in advance!

Sorry no Win10 for the time being, I just hate it, but I realize that when I sooner or later upgrade CPU+Mobo, I'm forced to it :/ No anticheat that I'm aware of, if avail I often buy a game just to support devs, and then find a "clean" version out there :) I know you've allready spend a lot of time on this project, so if you don't get to fix it I'll understand!

Hi Helifax, that's again an amazing piece of software you made there! I tried in 2 games so far and it worked like a charm. If you agree maybe we could wire your tool with 3DFM? For example the checkbox "Force CM" could cause that your tool is automatically started when launching a game and the game exe name is written to the 3DVision_CM_Unleased.ini as well as the correct hex value for 2DDHudSettings flag. I'm very impressed of your tool - and again very disappointed that Nvidia couldn't do this for us ;).

Ok guys, I can reproduce the problem on Windows 7 :) and I believe I know the update that broken it. Working on to fixing it! but first I want to investigate a bit as why this happens! Windows 7 users, "you might be lost, but not forgotten" ^_^ @Pauldusler: Many thanks! Yes, I have no problem on integrating it with 3DFM at some point! I would rather wait a bit;) There are some issues, like the Win7 problem and some more work needs to be done with the key shortcuts and xbox controller support (noticed the lack of trigger support)? I didn't want to postpone the initial realease to tackle everything because I was looking for feedback, which now I got;) (Obviously is very hard and time consuming for me alone to test all these things). But once we get it to a good state we can integrate it into 3DFM (and we can talk on how to do that at that point ^_^ as I'd want a proper implementation rather than a stand-alone app launched by 3DFM. Hope you agree!).

LOL, You were faster :) Will try and report the Win 7 version! I wrote:
Windows 7 users, "you might be lost, but not forgotten" ^_^
Thanks a lot for still trying to find a solution! I'm using Win 7 64bit Professional. I also want to delay the change to Win 10 as long as I can avoid it. I got some old games and tools that have issues with Win 7. Regarding CM unleashed I'm very happy with Your CT version. I don't mind to use CT as I use it anyway in about 90% of all the games I play because of its speedhack function. I'm not the youngest person any more and was never very skilled but thanks to speedhack I can enable "bullet time" as often as I want and play like a young pro gamer ;) The tool would have been especially interesting for games that block CT but as You have mentioned also Your tool might be detected by anti-cheat software. Nevertheless Win 7 support for Your tool would be very welcome but I can understand when it has not the highest priority ;) Maybe You could still offer Your former CT tables for Win 7 users? I think before developing Your tool You have mentioned an improved version of a CT table that auto-enables when the game runs...? A suggestion for Your tool: in my own CT version I have defined two hotkeys that increase/decrease the actual separation by 10% (similar to the original Nvidia hotkeys for more/less depth). So I can change the "unleashed" separation on the fly in the game without the need to change the separation value in the CT table (or the ini file for Your tool). This can be helpful because depending on the gameplay situation (indoor/outdoor, large/small rooms, etc.) or even my "current mood" I like to adjust the depth just a little bit. Of course this can also be done by editing/reloading the ini file or by defining a lot of hotkeys with different separation values. Just a suggestion ;)
