This game is a hot garbage mess of a pc port. Optimisation is dreadful. I played all the other Batman Arkham games in 3d surround. I can't even play this in single screen in present state. Crashes to desktop and on exit. Rocksteady and Nvidia should be ashamed. Posting gameworks features and they can't even get sli to work. Nvidia's track record with post release fixes especially over the last year is dismal. Witcher 3 still doesn't have surround sli official support.

It's pretty bad but I've managed to get it running enough that I can enjoy the excellent game underneath the dirge of a port. Switched of SLI and used my second card for Physx helps immensely. The 30fps cap isn't as bad as other games at 30fps and if I remove the cap I get crashes. I set CM mode to Black Flag: Setting ID_0x709adada = 0x37f58257 InternalSettingFlag=V0 So not great but just about playable in 3d!

It's a disgrace. They are giving the game away when their new flagship cards and it runs like a bag of spanners! No 3D Vision No SLI, 30fps cap!!!!! The way it's meant to be played???? The irony is NOT lost. What a huge disappointment. So much for ports being easier and better with the new consoles architecture. I love the other Batman games but this is shit for want of a better word. I can't believe nvidia but their name on it! Move smoke and papers around when you run through them, this has been in every batman game, nothing new. Also have you seen the VRAM usage. Uses 5.8 GB in 4k with no AA on my 980ti. Still get about 30-45 fps. Bad product rocksteady and shame on you nvidia. What a letdown. I've got a good mind to send my 980ti back and get a fury X it's annoyed me that much! Just read the fury X doesn't have HDMI 2.0!?!? What's going on with the blatant oversights tech companies are making these days?

I've only tested very briefly, but I'm getting very mixed results. Sometimes the framerate is awful (teens), sometimes it's 60. World geometry breaks at certain camera angles, but looks pretty reasonable (far from perfect) at others. This may be related to a known 2D issue with "flickering" and SLI being enabled, though I've not tested enough to say for sure. I hear calling in the batmobile can kill the framerate, but I didn't play far enough to try that. Screenshots here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/e6s6dy5rwx4wlnv/ArkhamKnight.rar?dl=0 SLI 970 on driver 347.52 SLI enabled (though I hear SLI can perform worse in this game right now) i5-4690K @3.5ghz Windows 8

Haha what a joke. It looks like they spent all of 5 minutes on the PC port. Have you seen the backlash on the usual sites? It's being dubbed the next assassins creed unity! Maybe Nvidia should be making their own games! They have enough money and might actually be able to get their own hardware and software running properly. Badman don't run right!

Yeah, over 1800 reviews on Steam last time I checked (around 6:30am my-time). Almost all of them are negative due to performance issues. A AAA title with "Mostly Negative" slapped on the reviews aggregate is appalling. I can't even fathom why Rocksteady would just mail it in like this. They released the original Arkham Asylum a month or so later than the console version in order to prepare the PC version and, I presume, to NOT have this happen. This game was not ready. The only glimmer of hope is that with Steam's new return policy, there will be MASS refunds issued for this game, and that should really light a fire under someone's butt to fix the problems.

Response from Rocksteady regarding performance issues. "We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible." "External PC development partner" Sounds like they had the PC port done by the lowest bidder. http://community.wbgames.com/t5/Support-for-PC/PC-Performance-issues-we-hear-you/m-p/571341#U571341

Yes the PC port was handled by Iron Galaxy, and I'm pretty sure that was more the publisher's call (WB's) than anyone...

Significantly different results with SLI off. SLI on looked better when I loaded it up just now, but it crashed 3 times in a row. I'm trying to minimise playtime so I don't exceed the 2 hour limit, so I'm not going to try and solve that until there's a new patch/driver out. I don't really want to install the latest driver, doesn't sound like it helps much. Non-SLI screens: https://www.dropbox.com/s/9mdna35hixfc5fi/Arkham%20Knight%202.rar?dl=0

Looks like a WB executive just called PC gamers "a bunch of babies" for complaining about performance. https://i.imgur.com/ObF1VKl.png EDIT: Possibly a case of mistaken identity - http://i.imgur.com/gKbyAjK.png Also, it looks like the PC version was outsourced to "Iron Galaxy", who put it together with only 12 people. What a clusterfuck. http://s.pro-gmedia.com/videogamer/media/images/pub/large/iron_galaxy_batman.jpg

Now with 3d broken and cheap port I'm glad I did not preorder and will very sadly stay away from this game. Will corporations ever learn?? They would make more money on higher sales if they would not have this attitude about pc games!! WTF..
