I would think that 850 is on the very edge - I was worried about my 1000watt...I wanted 1200 to be safe but no local store had them in stock. A good 1000watt will run those babies real nice. But, if you want a dedicated physx card as well, like an 8800, then I wouldn't go less than 1200watt.

Yes, it is a tad on the edge, as shown by GPU-Z graphs. But I play only for short periods with the GPU fan on my Leadtek 480GTX at full blast.... my Zotac AMP GTX 480 rox; its temperature NEVER goes above 58 degree C even with fans on Auto.
Corsair AX1200 not available. But Corsair is a good company, and Corsair HX 1000 W should be more than enough. Everyone including SLIzone nVidia and Corsair PSU Finder say that 950 to 1000W is recommended for 480 GTX SLI.

The game seems to be running better than my first time playing. Not sure what it was, but FPS is much more stable.

My only real complaint now is the icons not rendering in 3D. How can this game be 3D Ready yet all the item icons render at screen depth.
Oh yes it is ! Especially in SLI ! :D Never get less than 55-60 FPS even in busy areas of Dead Rising 2, that too with Zombie textures on high and post-processing enabled and with 3D Vision enabled !!

Kinda low bro, don't you think, I NEVER get less than 55-60 fps with all the bells and whistles enabled and that's a FACT ! Check your System thoroughly, you're letting the side down , fellow 480GTX SLIer !!
He probly has anti-aliasing up at 8 or 16. I don't hit 55 or 60 unless anti-aliasing is down at 2 (with everything else except blur maxed) on gtx480sli.

Perhaps. Anyway, I don't think AA is strictly necessary nowadays, especially at the high resolutions we play in.

1920x1080 @120Hz sometimes smooth mostly horrible..
1680x1050 @120Hz same...
1280x720 @120Hz/@60Hz same...

My computer:

Intel Core i7 860 @ 2,80Ghz
Asus P7P55D LE Motherboard
2x GTX 460 768mb SuperClocked SLI
8GB Ram DDR3 1333Mhz
Corsair powersupply 750Watts

What can i say more... i can play every game nearly all settings maxed out on 1920x1080 even with 3D enabled... (exceptional for Metro 2033 nearly maxed out and lower reso..)

So how can the game drops the frames so quickly? in 3D!?
