Mitsubishi dlp 3D mode Why does the black turn greenish.
Why does the black get greenish when in 3D mode
and the colors get washed out?
I now got the Mitsubishi 3dc-1000
and with the glasses that come with the set
the greenish black is stil visible , but with
the nvidia shutter glasses the green is not visible?
Hope someone can tell me more.

there is lots of info on AVS forums about this. I saw the title but cannot remember why this happens. it is interesting that this does not happen with nvidia glasses..

Wierd, I know that 3d mode adjusts the colors to compensate for the glasses (white looks white with the glasses on but not with them off) but haven't really noticed a difference between my regular mitsubishi 3d glasses and the nvidia ones
Only problem with the TV i"ve seen so far is that the the lower middle appears a little blurry, which happens to be my favorite spot to read text...

Avs forum, any more information here
is welcome.
fBX, do you use the Mitsubishi glasses with the pc?[/quote]
The thread is rather long.
The whole ordeal is if you're 2009 Mits DLP owner like myself then we're screwed by Mits big time.
The Mits glasses work rather amazingly well.
except that you cannot turn off the on screen display that complains the stereoscopic is not enabled or something in that effect.

I read that it has something to do with link mode that cannot
be turned of. Then my thought is, why can't they
give a firmware update that puts an option in
the menu where you can turn of the mode and,
we got nice black again and gives back the love
for Mitsubishi.
