Yes, same problem. Caused by the latest driver. Rolled it back and it's fine now.
Yes, same problem. Caused by the latest driver. Rolled it back and it's fine now.
I don't think it is the full driver. Just the SOTTR profile. I just grabbed the SLI fix that Helifax posted https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1071747/3d-vision/-how-to-shadow-of-the-tomb-raider-start-in-3d-vision-proper-sli/1/ and I once again have the option to select 3d vision on. It also looked like they had fixed the SLI issue in 2d with the 417.71 profile, maybe they fixed that and messed something simple up in 3d vision. Maybe better minds than I can use the recent profile to both fix SLI and also get 3d vision working again.

EDIT: Re-composed the entire post. EDIT 2: updates some of the details. I have stereoscopic 3d *working* with the following settings. This is the only way I can get it to launch without crashing on startup. Driver 417.71 DX12 Disabled Exclusive fullscreen enabled Stereoscopic OFF in SOTTR pre-launch settings 120hz refresh rate (set in Nvidia control panel) Stereoscopic 3d enabled in Nvidia control panel I ran into a really strange effect that makes the experience unplayable for me. All of the hair effects look awful. Laura's hair, if I look at it through my left and right eye, are in two completely different places in comparison to her head. Has anyone else experienced this? It looks like the game is not participating in stereoscopic 3d and that the Nvidia driver is doing it all by itself. The result is really terrible.

Anyway trying going back to 417.35 I think it was an see if it works fine.

When you guys are enabling 3D, are you doing this from the pre-launch settings or once you're in game? I haven't been able to get the game to allow me to even try to enable 3d while in-game on 417.71, the option is missing. I just get OFF and SBS.

Also, I forgot to mention that I'm using the OG stereoscopic 3D kit, the one that's like 10 years old. Anyone else using the original 3d vision kit? I downgraded to 417.35 and the game still won't let me select stereoscopic 3d.

I got this working last night on driver version 417.35. Settings below. I played for about 2 hours before the game crashed, but my eyes were tired at that point and I just went to bed. Not sure if this will be a persistent issue. I didn't take a screenshot of the error unfortunately. DX12 Disabled Exclusive fullscreen enabled Stereoscopic OFF in SOTTR pre-launch settings - this setting didn't seem to matter 120hz refresh rate (set in Nvidia control panel) Stereoscopic 3d enabled in Nvidia control panel I still never had the option to turn on stereoscopic once in game, it was always missing for me. Once I got it working the results were quite good. I echo the sentiments that other have posted. Unfortunately at 2560x1440 with a single 1080, my framerate is about 20-30 FPS.

I rolled back to the 411.70 driver and everything is working the way its supposed to. The newest driver even lists that 3D is rated as"Not Recommended".

Just wanted to inform You that the latest DLC "Nightmare" has no issues in 3D. So in case You hasitate to get this DLC after the "Pillar" DLC which was broken regarding 3D in some areas You don't need to worry ;) BTW I had no issues with 3D using driver 416.34.

I was planning on waiting until all DLC is released before picking them up, hopefully it gets fixed in time..

In "Pillars" there is an area where shadows are broken (about 40% of playtime and 70% of the exploration/platforming part of the DLC), the rest is fine. I switched to CM (profile Assassins Creed Unity) for this area. The issue was reported to the developers but did not get fixed until now (and I doubt that it ever will be...).

Guess, they didn't bother to check or fix it.... Is just a "simple" Compute Shader after all ;) I even made a hack for it, just to finish that DLC! (took me around 30 mins. Better than to close 1 eye :D)
