I downloaded the 275.5 driver and it allowed 3D!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!! And then I realized that although the setting said they were on I lost the texture pack and dx11. Now I can't get them to work even without 3D on. Gonna try old driver again and see what happens

Crysis 2 works in 3D for the most part using 275.50 BETA drivers. However, the title screen is messed up when loading. One eye shows the load screen whereas the other eye shows the menu. Other than that, I don't see anything that's messed up.

I've also made it and also had this same impression - however, the ocean water was definitely DX11 and I was able to see some tessellated rocks pretty well. I guess that this should be our eyes just getting used too quickly to the new higher-res textures, 'cause although they have better resolution, they aren't THAT good. Not complaining, obviously, game looks amazing in 3D.

PS.: somehow I was able to enable side by side oO

I thought this as well but I tried it again with DX11 and the high-res off and it made no differance. Should I be able to see reflections on objects such as marble walls with these settings off?

Which level are you playing? The first one actually isn't the very best to pinpoint the changes, but you can clearly see the new POM effects on the ground (the truck trails now have a greater sense of depth), the DX11 water (only the ocean one, not the puddles around), new smoke effects (they have shadowing now), better motion blur (very noticeable when running), much improved DOF (check the background in comparison with the same DX9 effect by switching to the weapon customization mode), and the list goes on.
Specifically for textures, I wasn't able to see a big improvement until now (but I'm starting the game again, only in the middle of the first level so far). Maybe there are better examples down the road, but one thing that they definitely improved are the text in the city's signs. Try to check it in DX9 and DX11 to spot the differences.

I checked in other areas and yes I can verify that it is working. Using the beta patch I am able to play in 3D with all the bells and whistles. I have been waiting for this upgrade to Crysis before playing any amount of the campaign, and I can say now that it was worth the wait.

The game works great for me, SLI included, with the latest 275.50 drivers and the DX11 patch installed. This was also after applying the other two files with the hi-res textures and DX11 content additions. The startup sequence and some of the cutscenes are glitchy until you temporarily disable 3D, but the actual gameplay portion works without any problems for me.
MSI Afterburner is showing that I am using about 1500 MB of video memory now on each card with the DX11 running as opposed to about 1000 MB roughly with the DX9 renderer.
Now I can finally go about finishing this game once and for all.

I recently completed this in DX9 and in 3D. Still an impressive game but lacking 3D pop. Just installed all of the patches for Dx11 support and in 2D the game looks very nice indeed (about time). However DX11 hoses 3D support, the right eye is totally out of sync and sometimes just doesn't get refreshed. This patch is what we should have got to begin with, albeit with full proper 3D not console fakery.

I thought this as well but I tried it again with DX11 and the high-res off and it made no differance. Should I be able to see reflections on objects such as marble walls with these settings off?
