Any updates on this?
I'm running a 4,1 ghz hexacore i7, 8 gig ram, gtx 460 sli with 1gb ram (each card) and a triple ssd raid 0. And it takes about a minute or so (or longer) to load a new area.
Others with slower computers report 3-10 seconds.
Would be really nice with a fix!

From what I understand, it's from trying to play at 1080p @ 24hz, and you don't really have any choice but to play it in 720p@60hz, is that right?

Hello,
I have this problem too with Batman Arkham City :(
3DTVPlay + 1080p@24hz ; load Times are very very long. (2, 3 min sometimes)
A temporary "fix" : after ~30 sec, i press alt tab, wait 10 sec, and alt tab again. I'm in the map :)
Please nvidia make a real fix :)

Are you getting long load times in Arkham City once in the game? Or only on the initial start-up? The start-up load time was a known issue, the latest DX11 patch went a long way in fixing the load time so make sure to update your Arkham City if you haven't already.

I own it on Steam, so it's the last version of course.
Every "loading screen" is long.
If i enter a building : i have to wait 2/3min.
If i leave this building : i have to wait 2/3min.

Hi all,
I have the same problem with arkham city and comparing my specs with yours (which are very variegated) I'd confidently say that is a nvidia 3dplay problem.
In addition I tried to keep 3d on and set all of the graphic settings to minimum... still getting the same problem.
I also found the workaround you are using: BatmanAC->Desktop->BatmanAC and it is not so annoying... but still pretty annoying... :)
Just an additional information: I'm currently replaying the game from the beginning with a new save (I actually reinstalled the game with a clean installation), and I'm getting this issue only after entering for the first time the court building, not at the first loading of the game. But from the moment on... well you got it.
I hope nvidia will fix this issue soon.
An if you find a better workaround please let us know.
Thx!

Some specs:
I have an asus P5N-D motherboard with an intel Core2 Q6600 CPU and 4gb (on a 32bit cpu... :( ).
A GTX295, creative x-fi titanim fatal1ty audio board, a samsung monitor SyncMAster 2233 and, as a primary monitor, a Panasonic TV TX-L37DT35E.
At the moment I have installed Windows 8, but I can assure you that I had this problem with Windows 7 too.

Hi Guys,
Any update about this issue with 3dtv play? I am having exactly the same problem with Batman AC and the Witcher 2 EE. It is really annoying to do alt+tab on every load.
Thx in advance for the help.

Not sure if this is related or not related to a different issue.
But download nvidia inspector. Remove the game's .exe from profile. Like go to batman arkham city and remove batmanac.exe [Or whatever its called] If it doesnt work make sure to revert back.
