This is one of the best if not the best game I've played with 3D vision yet. The reviewers missed the ball on this one. Fantstic. If you have a system that can do high physx and 3D then you must get this game.[/quote]

Yes, this game should almost be in the "3d Ready" category...

It got slated in the reviews, and its a quite light hearted little bash, im having fun with it :-)

I just don't see what is so bad about it. It is really a lot of fun.

I just beat the game. It took about 6-7 hours to finish. It was a real treat and I am glad I picked it up. I would recommend it to anyone with 3d vision, especially if it can be had for under $30.

I just beat it today myself..in about that time range.. a bit short. I think the game mechanics were great..the 3d and physx were really outstanding...i was actually ducking a few times when those laser blasts were coming at me...they really looked awesome. A fun, fun (short) game.

I beat it today too. Fantastic game. I don't know why it is getting such a bad rap although the demo did suck. The actual game is way better than the demo. The vertical shooting was fantastic and the action + 3D effects were excellent. I am a little sorry I'm finished with this one. I wish all games worked with 3D vision as good as this one.

Do i miss a lot if im not playing with physX? Are the physX effect constantly in your face like the jetpack effect etc.?

The PhysX effects are amazing on high. Especially the weapon effects which use very convincing, high density particle systems where the particles collide with the environment. Way cool especially in 3DVision!

Better Physx effects than BatmanAA and Mirror's edge, which are both very good.

On my system using dedicated GTS250 for high Physx I get very little framerate slowdown with the weapon effects (drops from >60fps to 50-60 fps, all framerates are per eye in stereo) and no slowdown during flying but during hover (which gives high density smoke effect) fps drops to 35-37fps making hovering a little framey. Overall very playable.

This is a great game in 3D with Physx, best flying fun I have ever had in a game. Use 360 controller for very precise flying and weapons.
Multiplayer with these weapons and flight model would be lots of fun.

Hope we will see Dark Void2!

I tought a PC like yours could handle everything you throw at it, those physx effect must be really intense...at what % approximatively do you set your deph? Because i know the more depth you had the more slowdown you get and i use to play with low depth

Is the game worth getting if I won't be able to use PhsyX? So far my graphics card has handled 3D fantastically. Only got a 8800GTS but it just can't manage to do Physx and 3D at the same time. Trying to wait for the new range of cards to come out before I upgrade :(

You could always wait to play it until after you upgrade. The physx effects are actually pretty cool.

I played 2 more hours of this last night. The critics really missed the boat on this one--it's awesome (at least in 3D). There is a part where your dropping down through a base that reminded me of the Death Star. I hope they'll bring the DLC to PC.

The game is pretty good and the 3D is awesome, but I got an AWFUL 1" 1/2 long strip of ghosting at the top of my monitor that I don't get in other games. I mean... The images are like an inch apart whenever they enter the strip. Can't seem to fix it either. It was fie before I noticed it, now it drives me insane :P
