COMPANY OF HEROES OP
Hello all!

Ok i got my glasses and i am using a iilama vision master 512 crt. In left for dead it work great - once you see it running you understand how this thing is gonna change gaming!

now my question is this, when i run COH it reverts to 60hz (i check in the monitor menu and it tells me hz) but the refresh rate on the desktop is 100hz @ 1600x1200 and makes it unplayable with the glasses ( i see the two images but the glasses don't work, i think because it is at 60hz?) why would it work in L4D but not in this game? any one got any ideas or can help? i love COH and i want to see it in 3D but this is driving me cray i have tried everything and can't get the refresh to go past 60hz in the game.

*edit i just installed world at war and the max refresh i can get in game is 85hz (also the help thing says this game is unrated??) how do i override this as well?

Any help would be most appreciated!!

also what settings should the vsync be on? always on or let the application decide?

Hi

The best thing to do is run the 3D Vision Setup Wizard. At one point during the setup wizard its going to ask you if you notice any environment flicker. Just answer yes, and then select the refresh rate that works best for your setup. Once selected, this refresh rate value will override your in-game refresh rate, no matter what the game says.

Please try this and report back if it fixes your issue for you.

Many thanks for your response andrew much appreciated! just one thing, i don't get asked if i have any screen flicker (it says no 3D screen detected, i choose generic crt) then the tests and then it says you are ready to use the 3vision.

I know the screen refreshes at 120hz no problem, is it because it is not detecting the display? i await eagerly your response /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Just a stupid question - i am using the old cables i had with my lcd screen (ie non dvi cable just the older classic one and using an adapter to connect it to my video card dvi connection) could this be the problem?

I have a Geforce 260 graphics card as well btw.
