Samsung UE40F6170 3DTV - Hardware test failed for 3dtv play
I run the wizard (blindly, see pointer issue...) but the test eventually failed. There is no such thing as "automatic 3D" in the menu of the TV: it can be set 3D OFF or directly SBS, OU or 2D->3D conversion, no Framepacked option. How can I get 3D on this TV working? Obviously it recognizes FP content, just needs the right input... I haven't found a real list of supported TV-s (the "list" always linked contains graphic cards). Is my TV supported or shall I send the EDID to Nvidia?

hello there, i don't know if this will help, the only problem i ran into with tvplay on my sammy tv, make sure you're plugged into the right hdmi socket, you need to be plugged into the hdmi/dvi on the tv, then on the tv settings change it to pc. the other hdmi sockets won't recieve the 3d signal from the pc for some reason. hope this will be of some help.... i could'nt find a manual for your tv on the sammy site, but i looked at un46f6300 manual and it says about hdmi/dvi socket on that model, so i would say it would be the same on your tv... Good luck....

Thanks for the tips, unfortunately still no success, EDID sent to Nvidia. I do have a DVI/HDMI socket - plugged my cable to that one but there's no setting to change the input type to pc in the menu (should it be in the TV's menu or somewhere in the NV control panel?).
