good day to all,
I recently got my 970 card and a 3d vision kit 2.
I tested 3d vision on a couple of games and it works really nice. Dark souls2, Diablo 3, grid 2.
when i try to enable stereo mode in wow, my whole computer freezes!
Anyone tried the stereo mode (3d) in wow with the last patch ?
thanks
I have the same issue.
Fixed using wow in window mode.
To change this option , you must deactivate 3d visión, change the option by menú in game, an then active the 3d again .
Greetings.

I've had issues since 6.0.2 also. Anything that pulls me out of full-screen jacks up the separation when I resume full-screen and I have to restart the client to fix it (i.e. UI HUD goes deep, proportions are all askew, cycle frustrum even seems to go wonky).
And aside from that, there's something wrong with either light reflection rendering on textures or ambient occlusion. All sorts of things in the game now render in normal color in one eye but flat black in the other, which of course gives half the game a really disorienting brokenness and muddled images/depth. I haven't been able to fix this at all, seems to be something inherent in either the game update or the recent nvidia drivers. Hoping they'll straighten it out before WoD. When I last played in early MoP, WoW was reliably the most flawlessly rendered 3d Vision title. Funny how things go downhill when they stop putting any real support into the product line anymore. :\

If I alt-tab back into the game again I have to alter the convergence again to reset the 3D back to normal. That brings the HUD and everything back to screen depth. Might be worth a try instead of restarting the client.

Another way to fix this is to simple go into graphics options and reselect 120hz and click apply. Fixes the issues for me.

Try creating a macro and put this command inside it:
/console gxRestart
I have this macro on of my hotbars because sometimes my framerate plummets when zoning into a new zone. My problem might be because of memory leak or having my settings too high for my 2GB of video memeory to handle in 3D. If that works you only have to wait a couple seconds as the screen gets re-drawn. This trick is worth trying IMHO.
