It has no hud/mouse. Its literally flawless in 3D.
Eventhough I attribute fix to helix[Because I had to do little]. Its easily in top 5 games I worked on where 3D "adds to game". Its "kind of" line Trine where 3D "opens it up". Sounds vague I guess but its all opinion based *shrug*.
You are CORRECT.
This is one of the best 3D experiences I've had. Just felt like I was in this mysterious world of trolls, giants, killer whales, and other crazy stuff. It seemed alive with the great use of ambient sound and subtle atmospheric music numbers. Also what added to the effect was that there is no dialogue to distract you from the beauty of the surroundings.
This is a must have for any 3D vision user.

Just as a little feedback, I think the water distortion looks great on this title, and I didn't notice any difference between AllowNvidiaStereo3d= true and false. Thanks for the fix though!

yeah, recently finished it, great game and perfect in 3d, though I didn't expect it to end that way.

I looked at the game yesterday and I was able to make it work properly in Surround.
Menus are also centered now and scaled.
I don't know if there is a HUD in the game since I haven't moved from the start location of the game:)) but I imagine it should also be fixed.
I'll add some screenies later on and will create a plugin in the following days.

I brought this game based on the recommendations of everyone else in this thread. Unbelievably excellent. Best $15 I spent on a game in a LONG time. And yeah, the fix is perfect. I want to play through it again almost immediately!

I JUST finished the game and I can't recommend it enough. To some extent I would compare it to The Walking Dead, in that it uses the medium of video games to its full advantage. That is, what makes it good couldn't really be done on TV, movies, books, etc.
It also reminds me of my experiences with The Last of Us, and Life of Pi. I had some misgivings along the way. In this game, a few poor checkpoints and unintended control mishaps. But nonetheless they were intriguing stories along the way, and by the end truly great experiences.
The fact that it's fantastic in 3D is either the icing on the cake or an essential ingredient. I don't know. Anyway, with no HUD you're free to set convergence as you like. Thanks for the fix Eqzitara/HeliX!

Has anyone noticed the 3d in this game under Windows 8 with latest drivers is really off? It's hard to explain, but when the characters move the 3D looks really weird.
