First off, sorry if this has already been covered - Nvidia, please fix the search!
Anyone else get 'Unknown game' displayed in the profile popup when loading a game via steam?
Any fixes?

I've never had any problems playing Steam games. The nvidia profiles always pick up the game.
L4d, L4d-2, phychonaughts, HL2, COD games. All played 3d via steam with no profile issues.
The only problem i have with steam games is you cannot re-name the .exe if there are issues.
Are you sure your Nvidia 3d drivers are up to date?
You might be missing that particular 3d profile.

L4D, vegas, alien swarm to name a few that i think should work. I do get the popup, just says 'unknown'
I'm starting to think it may be because I have steam installed on a second drive (not on the same drive as os, and drivers)

Hi
I actually run steam on a seperate drive than my OS, so that isnt the issue.
A few questions:
- Can you try creating a shortcut on your desktop to the apps and launching them?
- What country are you in? Maybe its locale.
