Hi, Everyone I am a new user, but have a bothering problem that could be easy to fix. I just can't seem to figure out how to get my monitor to show up as 3d ready?

First make sure your using the cable that came with the display and that it's plugged directly into the video card, no KVMs or such. What kind of video card are you using?
When I setup my VG236H a few weeks ago, I had installed the latest GeForce drivers thinking that's all I needed, but when I ran the 3D setup, it told me I didn't have the drivers for the transmitter installed.
So I uninstalled the drivers and installed these, http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce-3d-vision-winvista-win7-cd-1.42-whql-driver.html which it said to use for a 570 or 580, I have a 580. I guess that means if you have something older, to use these...3D vision 1.38
After that it worked for me. You should know at the end of the 3D setup if it's working or not, but if you're not sure, I'd use the 3D Vision photo viewer and either one of the nVidia demo picture downloads or snag some 3D pics from one of the threads here and test it out.

Once you get your monitor all set up, could you post your thoughts on the quality of the 3D and if you see any ghosting at all? If so what games? Thanks!

i had this same issue. took me all day to figure out. but you need to do the setup normally except instead of the driver cd use the 1.38 software mentioned above ^^^
