Blank Screens with Civilization, Space Siege and TF2
I just got the bundle today and updated all my drivers. I have 1.04 and not 1.05, but i dont think it will help this problem. I have Dual 8800 GTSs. When I start the 3 games, all go to a blank screen. I can hear the sound but only a blank screen. I can play World of Warcraft without any issues. Any ideas? I read in one of the stickies about booting in save mode and installing. I tried it but it didnt work. One thing I did notice is that you have to uninstall the current driver and then install again after rebooting. The problem I ran into is that my Plug n Play keeps installing the driver on boot up, even in safe mode.

I just upgraded to 1.05. Still no change.

I tried installing just the video card drivers and then playing civilization and it worked fine. Then, I installed the 3d stereo portion and it stopped working. I tried playing it with the 3d effects turned off at the start of the game, and it still did the same thing. A blank screen, but I can still hear the sound. It isnt frozen just not displaying properly.

I havent pulled the extra card, but i have disabled the sli and i still have the same results. I would assume that you can use sli, especially since it is an nvidia product.

I reinstalled civilization and now it works. Team Fortress 2, however, still comes up with a blank white screen.

Just to help debug what's happening try turning off SLI for now and see if that fixes your issues.

I turned off sli and still the same problem. the game boots up to a white screen when the 3d stereo isnt turned on. I can hear the sound and I can hear it click on my choices when I move the mouse, but it is still a white screen. I can activate the 3d stereo but the screen remains white. I also tried installing Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 and I get the same blank screen. This is rather frustrating.

Hi

Do this for me. Go to the NVIDIA Stereoscopic Control Panel and relaunch the wizard. When you get to the part about did you notice flickering, say yes and select the mode that works best for you. This setting overrides in-game refresh rates to be that value. I want to make sure yours is set to force a higher refresh rate.
