Elite Dangerous - 64-bit - 3DVision Fix
I just updated to the new 1.5 version of ED on Steam. One of the options now is to launch a 64bit client. I extracted the latest fix (v 1.1) from Helix's website into the 64bit directory.... but it doesn't seem to build the shaders as there are no .bin files created upon running the game. I also tried the tweaking .ini and kept hitting F10 to re-build the shaders, but no joy. Anyone else try?

I would say the issue is the current d939.dll that's being used is the 32bit one and you would need to download and try the x64bit version you can find on the helix blog guide page. Might introduce other complications, but start there.

Hello mate Go to the Elite Dangerous website I have put the updated fix on there. I didn't update the Helix page because I haven't tested it yet. Apparently it works though. Obviously I haven't looked at the planetary textures yet. Scroll to the second bottom post. Don't forget you will need to toggle the star/planet depths using the '/' key, when using the system map or you can't see the stars / planets. :) https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=198287 This is the shortcut https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=198287&p=3250607&viewfull=1#post3250607
