New drivers screwed up my 3d-experience
So I installed the 180.43 bèta because nvidia advised it for Far Cry 2...
And suddenly 3d doesn't work anymore. Not only in games, even the test with the nvidia logo isn't interlaced anymore. It's as if 3d is just turned off or so.
After I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled the 175.19 WHQL drivers again it didn't work again.

How can this be fixed?

Any help would be appreciated

Edit: If anybody got the same problems as I had: the new WHQL drivers (180.48) fixed it all, I now can play even more games in 3d!

Maybe you need something like Driver Sweeper from the Guru3D site to get rid of all traces (after uninstalling the nvidia drivers). I don't know if you also need re-install stereo drivers too, you used to for 7900 cards. You should probably tell people what kind of system you have, such as card, operating system, stereoscopic system, etc.

I shall try that Driver Sweeper thing.

I got:

8800GT 512 MB
Windows Vista 32 Bit
Zalman Trimon 22" 3d-monitor
Stereodrivers: 174.76
Normal drivers: 175.19 worked, but when I installed 180.42 it didn't work anymore, 180.43 hadn't fixed this.

I tried Driver Sweeper and Driver Cleaner several times. And it won't get it working again.

To be clear:
Everything looks like it used to look, except for the fact that it won't turn 3d on. So I don't get any messages like "Only anaglyph mode is allowed for this monitor" or something like that. Everything seems fine except for the fact that it just won't get interlaced.

I have given up removing and reinstalling because I don't have the time to continue. Right now I have 177.83 stereo & 177.92 normal drivers.

Any new idea's?

Err look at my sig in my posts, go to the website join be active there , download there drivers because there 3d stereo drivers are better then nvidias, they update them alot they work with the lattest drivers (180.48) , also they work with far cry 2 and alot of new games.
You dont have to use nvidia stereo 3d drivers to get stereo 3d on your nvidia or ati cards there are other active groups that make better 3d stereo drivers, nvidia are always slow at realiseing up to date drivers.

p.s if you still havent found the site here it is. http://www.mtbs3d.com
