Modifying 3D Vision to support SBS

You have to change your input name to PC DVI, even if it is using HDMI.. then the option becomes available on your TV 3d menu. then you have to wear your glasses upside down. But at least it is running at 60hz.
You have to reverse the eye pattern on the Samsung TV look under 3D options on TV menu this works far better on my TV than 3DTVplay.

@sebastatu, i think you are doing something wrong....press F11 until you have the reverse (its reverse eye) TB or SBS
; 2 = Side by Side ; 3 = Reversed Side by Side ; 4 = Top and Bottom ; 5 = Reversed Top and Bottom
Sorry if this has been discussed just stumbled upon this thread. Cant the work here also be used to output Rift or Vive compativle output. That would be awsome Nvidia + Helixmod is still the best way of getting true gemoertric 3D for legazy titles once Rift and Vive are out

I tried Dirt Rally. It gives SBS /TAB but they seem overlaid on normal view. Ie the SBS /TAB are in addition to standard 3DVision view. Hmm, hope that makes sense :)

Worked out what I was doing wrong with Dirt Rally. Needed to set "automatic_mode=1" and uncomment "ResourceDepthBuffer = null" in d3dx.ini Now TAB works perfectly :)

Interesting thing when I was testing ROTTR in1440p in Top Bottom to see the FPS gain: When I first put 1440p, interlieved mode 3d vision didn't work of course, so I ran my TV in 3d TB mode and then clicked F11 to have proper 3d in Top Bottom. Working good... And then after checking a while, I switch back my TV to 2D mode and click F11 to return in 3dvision mode and boom game was in perfect 3d interlieved but still in 1440p scaled and it's looking good!

I can't get TAB to work with latest official patch due to the inclusion of its own 3D renderer.

It won't be in the Helix DLL since we don't have source code for it (unless Helix himself returns or releases it as open source), but we do have a bit of a plan to implement it in another DX9 wrapper (possibly Flugan's wrapper) that we can chain load from Helix Mod for DX9 games. I can't even begin to give you an ETA on that though since I'm not actively working on it - it could be a while.

DarkStarSword, Just in case nobody mentioned before me, I would like to express my certainty that you are a genius!:) Thank you for this SBS-TAB solution. If you would have worked in the space industry, I believe, you would be able to find a way to achieve interstellar voyage. :)
