Wreckfest is a Destruction Derby like Car Combat game from Bugbear Entertainment. Those guys also developed the crazy Flatout games a few years back.
Since I was participating in the Early Acess phase of the game (almost had forgotten about it) I just gave it a try today (the game is now fully released since a week). There is also a fix on the blog that was made for the Early-Access state of the game. I installed the Early-Access fix and gave it a try:
The game looks absolutely beautiful in 3D Vision. I didn't find any major issues. Using high convergence - as always - means you will face some hard to read menus but the game itself is a blast in 3D Vision.
Edit: I should add that I only played one arena so far so there may issues arise when playing a little more. So far it's a blast!

Hard to pay $50 bucks for a game in this day and age though because most developers intentionally water them down. I fear the art of making $50 games is long gone... last game and pretty much only game I've seen in the last few years that I would say warrant a $40-50 price tag is maybe Max Max and AC Black Flag...before that ... Diablo 3 where you play for thousands of hours... you get more like a play set that you can play pretty much indefinitely. Most $50 games are just bone head mistakes missing major features that you would expect to make it worth that price even if it looks really good in videos and screenshots like this one.

this game is such fun! but unfortunately the fix is not perfect. there is a problem with smoke and the flying dirt under the wheels, also with fire, and there is problematic shadow under the car.
can someone take a look at this?.. I love this game, its stupid but so much fun!!

Hmmm, I downloaded the latest fix from helixmod and it is perfect 3D!
But my problem with this game is that it kills my framerate in 3D. I don't know why! I have many 3D games, and I know that 3D eats 50% from the framerate but I have a strong rig with Titan X Pascal graphics-card.
In this game I get for example 165 fps in 2D but as soon as I turn on 3D it drops to 34 fps !???
So I can't play it with stable 60 FPS. Is this normal? What could be the issue?
I tried all graphics settings from low to ultra but not much difference.
Ah, and I found something strange: in the graphics settings the first option "graphics quality" is set to "low" but I can't turn it higher (!?) whereas all other options can be turned from low to ultra...
I have the game on Steam and start the 64bit version...
Any ideas?

The graphics setting just automatically adjusts all the graphics settings below it.
