3D live streaming for Euro 2012, Olympics and any other channel
Hi everybody!
im new in this forum, and i got here cause every other forum failed to answer my questions.. if this topic had been discussed please let me know or transfer this msg..
that was the question:
does anybody know if it is possible to stream 3D events using Nvidia 3D vision (probably using Silverlight or HTML 5) like i have been told about the NASCAR in 2010?
i am curios about Euro 2012, Olympics and general 3D channels
how do i find the 3d streaming on the web and how do i know that my nvidia vision will work?
thanks!

Hmmm, I haven't heard anything. It should be possible but I don't know if anyone is actually doing it.
NASCAR? Errr.... stereoscopic vision only lets you judge distances out to about 100 meters TOPS and is really only a big deal out to maybe 30m. I guess you could put a camera right by the track and watch the cars go by but for most NASCAR camera angles, I don't think it would add much.
It should work nice for a lot of olympic sports, though. Pole vaulting would be great!
