Passive 3D Displays vs. Active 3D Displays Will these make a difference with how 3D Vision will work

I read other thread, there people said passive takes same gpu power like 2D but active takes 2x more, but here people told me that they both takes 2x more than 2D gpu power. I don't know what to believe. That's why I ask again, maybe I have misunderstanding because I'm not good with english.

He's simply saying that by sending a Line Interleaved format to his Display, it doesn't have to post process the incoming 3D Video Stream.
Anything that is received by a Passive Display using a FPR screen that is not already in an Interleaved format "MUST BE" converted prior to being shown.
His statement "Simple 2D" is erroneous, it is indeed receiving a 3D input. I think what he was trying to convey, is that he doesn't have to manually switch the TV into 3D Mode.

Sorry but I don't see logic in your text. If passive 3D use same GPU resource like active then how passive can use 2160p and not having bandwidth limitation what HDMI 2.0 have(max 2160p/60hz 2D)

If it clears it up for you I can upload a video tomorrow showing my fps cut by half when I turn on 3D. The 3D at 2D power would be awesome, I wish it was the case but unfortunately it ain't.
I would definitely recommend active over passive, for the reasons I said earlier and also with a 120/144hz screen you get the bonus of playing 2D games at a higher refresh rate.

Ughh, Because half frames are sent, half frames do not require the same bandwith as full frames.
You are comparing interlaced to progressive. 2160i is not the same as 2160P. Please GOOGLE it.
