Where to buy Vg278?
Hey guys, I'm wanting to get my hands on another vg278 (H, preferably), but my searches are coming up nil... save 1 refurb in google shopping for over $1k. Anybody know of where I can get my hands on a used vg278? Unless you know of another monitor that's 27' or above that supports 3dvision, I'd be all bout that too :-)

They seem to be a rare model now.... For anything over $500 Id rather buy a 1440p 3D Monitor. The built in emitter was awesome

Would certainly prefer 1440p, just didn't think that was an option, at least not over 23 inches. [quote="john3"][quote="Nerdjitsu"]Anybody know of where I can get my hands on a used vg278? Haven't checked these boards much in recent years, but recently rebuilt my 3d rig and wanna get back on it! Goin' to study it now, stoked to find somebody is still making 3dvision ready screens.

I was under the impression that the monitors had to be identical. Side question about surround, you need at least 2 video cards, right? I've got a single 1080, maybe shoulda thought of that before opting for that over 2 1070s. Many many thanks for offer!

I think that may be my lady if I give up on this surround thing... I'm barely technically proficient enough to get many 3d fixes working, so venturing into surround would probably just be asking for heartache :-) Edit: sorry for doublepost, was trying to edit above post and must have entered in wrong window...

I do have the dell 27' 1440p 3d monitor also, but I am not sure I am willing to get rid of it yet. Since I upgraded to a 4k oled 3d tv I havent even touched it. Only real reason to keep it is for playing cs go or something for competition, which I don't really do....
