I'm having a great time in this one even minus 3D. Has anyone tried playing it with 3D Vision?

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.

Silly question, but have you? Don't have the game but very interested, saw some previews ages ago and it looks great.

I tried it yesterday using 3D Migoto, you can force stereo to kick in if you copy the 3D Migoto files to the game folder and edit the d3dx.ini (in d3dx.ini search for "full_screen=0" and set it to "full_screen=1") You may have to try restarting the game a few times after this, it did not start up correctly everytime for me. It does not appear to completely broken, but ofc some things are incorrect in stereo. I only had a quick look, but here is my findings at a glance: what works: * 3d and surface shaders generally look ok * path/movement indicator lines look correct in stereo * ui looks fine (it's in screen space) * particle effects look ok * mech selection outlines look correct what does not work: * shadows - the usual issue with Unity shadows (no option to turn them off in game) * one grass layer texture (grass decals look ok, but a terrain texture layer looks incorrect) * range/direction/firing arc indicator is wrong depth * reflections * some decals and effects near destroyed buildings * map border shader (not too big a deal) I'm not a shader hacker, so just reporting my findings in case anyone feel like having a look. I think the game could look very nice in working 3d, it adds a lot to these kind of tactical games :)
