There is no converting or transformation.

3D-games are rendered twice by the Nvidia-driver for the Stereo-3D. It will render a view for the right eye and one for the left eye.

There is the 3D-Vision-Discover mode inside the drivers so you can try it with cheap Red/Cyan-Glasses (oldstyle anaglyph mode).

Most games are already 3d,you just need software like 3dvision and some glasses to see it on a 2d monitor....
