Been looking forward to this game for a while. Glad to see 3d and physx support. Hopefully, this game shows up on Steam.

EDIT: guess they added it to Steam tonight b/c it wasn't up earlier. woot

Not only does it support 3D Vision and Physx, the ingame option has a Nvidia AA mode too.

The demo is certainly great fun, and runs well in 3d.

No problems adjusting the convergence here, on 64-bit Windows 7.
Here are my custom convergence settings, they do provide much better results than the standard profile for the game (in my opinion): batman-aa-registry-settings-with-custom-convergence.zip

Just import the right reg file (32-bit or 64-bit) and run the demo, then please share your feedback (the difference between the standard and my custom settings) ;)

Batman users,

Just a few questions and commnets.

First convergence should be fine. We have seen there the convergence on 64-bit should be set properly, but we likely need to tweak the Vista 32-bit setting.

Second, I would be interested in feedback on our default convergence. Do you think we need to adjust it more?

I just tried your screenshots. Holy crap, did you crank convergence way up???

Even on 64-bit convergence can be improved a bit from the default settings.
With the default settings I can use only between 5% and 15% depth, otherwise ghosting becomes too apparent if I go higher. But with my custom convergence settings I can go up to 40-50% depth with no serious ghosting issues and the game certainly benefits from the higher depth level and adjusted convergence. As I said the default settings give you sort of flat look and with increasing depth and getting ghosting you can't do much without having to increase the convergence with Ctrl + F6. Unfortunately I was not able to get good overall results with nice pop-out effect, but the depth looks great...

I used my default convergence settings which is far from the default ones provided :P.

What I do is I set depth to 100% and then get a object as close to the monitor as possible usually a character model most of the time, and then adjust the convergece so that you can see the model perfectly, however I push it towards the right side of the convergence settings, as that's when you start to get popout, rather than the default settings which are usually mild.

SirBaron, for me it is just a bit too much separation in your screenshots. And while trying to get a good pop-out effect I had problems with the far objects in the game, so I settled for greater depth level instead of getting the Batman character actually popping out of the screen ;)

Here is a short guide on how I set my convergence level in Batman: http://3dvision-blog.com/?p=225

I'm having some kind of trouble with this game. Can't use more than 20% of depth, the image just gets blurred and flickering. Is anyone else having this problem also? Using Vista x64. CD 1.10. Every other game is perfect.

Thanks

Yeah but that's the problem with the technology the same level's wont work the same for every person, some like hacking their depth to silly high levels, some don't even reach 50%. My settings are perfect for me sooooo :P.
