I was cleaning my room the other day and found a monitor from a while back and got pretty excited. What I have been trying to do for the last few days is start up a vision surround profile for my now 3 monitors but I seem to have come across a speed bump.
I have gone into the nvidia control panel, and used the help file to activate it. Now my speed bump comes from the very first option in the help file "From the NVIDIA Control Panel navigation tree pane, under 3D Settings, select Configure Surround to open the associated page."
The problem is under my 3d settings tree i have...
1. Adjust image settings
2. Manage 3d settings
3. set SLI and Physx config.
Now my monitors aren't 3d ready but I was reading it was also available in a 2d surround which is what I am presently aiming for since I dont have the 3d glasses nor the monitor hardware to run it.
Basically my goal of all this is to play call of duty utilising all 3 monitors in a horizontal span resolution of 5040x1050 with out having to buy a triple head to go unit, I am starting to think it is not possible at the moment.
My system is as follows (while not top of the line at the moment still pretty decent)
Windows vista ultimate 64bit
i7 CPU 920 2.67ghz
6gig of ddr3 ram
Two gtx275's with the ability to run in sli
257.21 Display drivers (downloaded them tonight)
Monitors are 3x Asus VW222
If you need any more info just ask and I will tell you what I know.
Basically any help would be much appreciated, I am thinking that the 2d/3d vision surround is only available for windows 7 at the present moment?

Surround is not available at this moment. I and many others are waiting for the driver to come out. We are hoping by the end of June it will be out. There is now a forum just for the surround feature, so I would watch that and keep checking nVidia's site for a new beta driver with the surround functionality. Your system looks capable of the 2d surround too.

Do you have any web pages that deal with the 2d surround? I can only find info on the 3d surround.

It is available in beta form in the 256.76 Vista/Win7 32-bit drivers if you can find it. I'd wait for the official relase though, as the 256.76 drivers are pretty laggy.

I can't find that vision surround only section either, just the 3D surround section. Maybe I'm missing something or they removed it for some reason?
I'm not interested in 3D vision surround at the moment, well I am but my wallet isn't, but I do have the screens to do the normal vision surround.
I've been using softTH but its not ideal. So I'm patiently waiting for these mythical drivers.. /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
