I kept hearing rumours that Take2 would work on improving 3D vision support with a future patch, making it 3D vision ready. Is there any truth to this? I've been waiting months to play this game hoping that it would get the 3D vision ready treatment that was promised from the begining.

Ive been playing Bioshock 2 all tru the end,end altho it isn't really 3d ready,..it sure looks great in 3d..after all the latest patches and new nvidia drivers...
I don't think they going to release a new patch imo.
But maybe Biosock 3 will be 3d vision ready..who knows...

I wouldn't hold my breath for 2k to release a patch, its been over 2 months since its release and they have little incentive at this point to commit resources to creating a patch. They have claimed they will release a patch, but with every passing week those chances drop drastically. I found the issues with Bioshock2 in 3d-vision to be to distracting, so I quit playing and uninstalled. Some people don't mind the way it looks/plays, but for me it was simply a huge disappointment.
If they ever fix it I would start playing again...but thats a big if.

In all the time the original has been out, there was only the initial patch to correct WS.
So far, the only thing released for BS2 has been a patch for...THE SAME FRAKIN' THING

I know it's not ideal, but dropping depth to 5% and incrementing convergence so that your 'quest indicator' is a solid graphic - will rid all your anomolies and you can turn on all the eye candy. Except shadows. They are just weird.
5% is still better than 0%, and with some popout - it does look better than 2D.

Turn off the quest mark aswell,..and also turn off post processing..,this way you can turn the depth to 100%

Bioshock 2 has to have been the worst video game purchase I have ever made.Still have not played it in hopes of a freakin' patch to fix 3D.2K games will not get a penny more of my money.

I think 2Ks behavior is worthy of a class action suit, but they probably wouldn't learn anything from it and just hate 3d stereo.
