We don't have to be forum moderators to try and enforce basic rules.
It's generally bad forum behaviour to start a new post as a way to bump another post without any valid reason, just as its not good to necro dead threads or add "shameless bumb's" to a thread. Just let people read the first thread and decide if they want to respond or not.
It's annoying to have the forum cluttered by duplicate topics, threads covering more than 1 game, and threads bumping original threads.
There is a lot of information hidden away in some of the threads so its important to keep the clutter to a minimum and to follow basic forum etiquette.

Moderator posts are easy to spot - there's a 'forum moderator' or some such title under their name (on the left side of your screen) and if you don't happen to notice that the entire block of whatever they posted has a GREEN BACKGROUND!
It may be difficult for newcomers to the forum to recognize the Nvidia employee or moderator posts as (until this week) there have not been any NVIDIA employee (or moderator) posts in this form for a very very long time. (almost or more than a year?) With the lack of any official moderation, those of us that frequent this forum tend to police ourselves.
Anyway, welcome to the 3DVision forum where a few dozen (or more) people hang onto seemingly ever smaller glimmers of hope that someday all PC games will work perfectly with 3DVision when released and the world at large can get a chance to experience 1st hand (and want for themselves) what properly setup Stereoscopic 3D brings to gaming and what most of us are very passionate about.

It is ironic ... company makes awesome tech and gives the devs the information they need to know about how to use it properly in their games ... devs could care less about company's awesome tech and how to use it properly, unless they throw money at them of course, and who gets the blame? The way 3D Vision works is pretty impressive, sure they could improve some things here and there, but the blame doesn't lay solely at their feet ... after all they aren't the ones designing the games and the engines, some engines that 'supposedly' support 3D Vision, like Unreal Engine for instance, I think they put more effort into supporting iOS than they did 3D Vision ...

@Tsaebeht: I agree to some extent however it is/was Nvidia's own marketing and policy failures that has brought us to this point.
On the one hand this is pretty awesome stuff - everyone that I show it to thinks that - however with '3DVision proper' locked to specific display devices they really 'missed the boat' with the bubble of 3D popularity. When they added '3DPlay' again locking it to specific brands/models further limiting the exposure and causing unneeded frustration for those who WANTED to try it. It was only in the (what?) last year that they unlocked 3DPlay to almost work with any 3D display device and then of had to dial back the frame rate @ 1080P to 24hz! (who wants to play a game at 24hz?) Now we are far down the falling edge of the 3D popularity bell curve bubble. There are still new models of 3D TV/Projectors being made so there must be a market for them. (outside of being an additional 'don't care' feature)
IMHO sadly it comes to cost. A quick look at Steam's user report on HW/SW being used and it would appear that the majority of gamers are using very old hardware. (and XP) A quick survey of what most of us in this forum use for our 3DVision setups fall into the upper 20% if not 10-5% of gaming rig performance and costs.
Development goes where the money and market is. Funny to think that a good percentage of "light boost" monitors are sold for the 120hz functionality rather than for 3Dvision. Sadly many of the features that we'd die to have in our consumer level 3DVision are available in their professional/industrial offering. The difference in functionality and cost between the products could easily be attributed to support costs (let alone development costs). I can't see to many of us spending $1500-3000 to have access to those feature sets to play games.
Maybe as the DX11 games and lack of official support for XP force users to newer and more powerful hardware the install base of PC users will have enough CPU+GPU to try 3DVision on the TV they just upgraded (that happens to include some 3D modes).

Ok i understand the thing with my second topic, sorry for confusing!-)
So, the fact is, here is nobody from nvidia who cares about what we have to say, right? Thats rediculous, what a shame. They dont care about us and want to sell maxwell cards next year?... Who want to buy these cards if there is no need to have more speed?
Any ideas?

Is there another forum where they talk with us? I sent my statement to hr@nvidia.com, the only emailadress i ve found (thats another thing i dont understand, not customer friendly. I realize now, that unfortunately this is their policy). Is that the right email adress?
Thanks for input..

The moderators have said that some positive 3D Vision news is coming. Grapefruit, I think we should wait and see what they have to announce instead of condemning Nvidia right now.
That is, what you're asking for might already be on the way.

You can also do some good by posting your 3D Vision experiences on other forums and spreading awareness. Obviously we here know the goodness :) But 3D has a lot of bad rep out there, largely due to many negative Hollywood experiences - heck, even I usually don't go to see movies in 3D if they're not filmed natively in proper 3D. The "gimmick" factor in the movie world is large and leaves many people with distaste and negativity towards the technology.
As we know, games are a very different story when it comes to 3D. However, very few people get to experience it due to cost of entry so they are hesitant to put so much money into something they equate to the movie theatre 3D experience, which is often sub-par.
Remember - greater adoption means better support for the tech.

This has been some of the most eye popping revelations I've read for 3d vision. I just brought a VG248QE and the 3d vision kit 2 so I could enjoy 3d gaming. I was not aware the situation was this bad. Nvidia, do something. I believe 3d vision is truly one of the most underrated things that sets Nvidia apart from the competition and I think it should receive more exposure than it is getting. PhysX is nice, but ultimately, 3d gaming and G-SYNC are some of the core technologies that makes Nvidia great. Nvidia, please provide 1st party support for 3d vision. How can you support G-SYNC on VG248QE when the same monitor could also do 3d gaming. How cool is G-SYNC AND 3D-Vision? That's what I'm hoping for when I get the G-SYNC kit from Nvidia. Thank you all and good day. Out.
