It's not a deal breaker though, but would be nice to fix. Fix should be ready in a few days - there's still lots of shaders to fix, but it looks like I've found all the necessary patterns.

That's very good news!... i'm still have Crysis 3 waiting. I will take a look at your github account to traslate the fix to Crysis 3 (if possible)

Let me know what Migoto version you can get it working with.

I can run build 1.1.27 on Crysis 2 with just a couple of odd problems. (x32 version) If I set the automatic_mode=1, and in-game disable the 3D, I get the expected broken shadows and true-3D. Shader hunting works. Overlay mostly works, but only draws in one eye, and says 'stereo disabled' even though it actually is enabled. If that version is not working for you guys, please give me some more details. If it's crashing, I'd like to see a debug log.

Hi bo3b - the game does not crash, it does not start, so there is nothing in the logs. I'll try a full debug tomorrow. Using 1.0.1, I can get it working by editing the .exe and changing nvapi to nvbpi etc.

There's also some tweaks you can do in system.cfg (or user.cfg?) to disable the engine's renderer if disabling it through 3DMigoto doesn't work for some reason (in Ryse this is necessary to avoid crashes):
r_StereoDevice=0 r_StereoMode=0 r_StereoOutput=0
CryEngine 3 does have it's own stereo 3D renderer separate from 3D Vision automatic, but it is horribly broken and completely unusable in most games. In Lichdom it results in pretty much nothing being drawn at all - totally useless. It also has it's own fake 3D mode similar to nvidia's compatibility mode, but of course we all know CM is pretty rubbish and reportedly theirs is even worse in some respects. My approach is to disable CryEngine's stereo renderer and remove their separation lock so we can use 3D Vision automatic and 3DMigoto to patch shaders like we do in most games. I found out that indie devs using CryEngine don't get access to the shader's source code with the subscription model, so this is not something that most devs could even do unless they purchase a full license (which AFAIK is intended for AAA studios with loads of money).

Awesome. You did what the developers in my Steam thread were refusing us. Thanks man. The pics look very good. And my god you fixed the Cry Engine! Does this mean there is a chance to fix other Cry Engine games? :)
