@creatura fwiw, I don't fiddle with IDED's, so don't know anything regarding that, and am overly cautious on changing display settings outside of the menu options. On the pic above, from my previous experience with dual graphics on laptops, make sure you look at the manual and/or talk to Lenovo support to confirm settings are right, and one some laptops, you can force the additional graphics card, instead of the intel graphics. Might want to take a peek at these: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/IdeaPad-Y-U-V-Z-and-P-series/Z500-740m-graphics-for-crysis-3-problem/td-p/1222567 https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/IdeaPad-Y-U-V-Z-and-P-series/Z500-Switching-to-Nvidia-Geforce-GPU/td-p/1064231
i unistalled the acer monitor cuz i tought it will reconize something. now everything its normal and still say a 3D TV was not detected!
So, that's still not what you are looking for. It now says Generic CRT, and you want to have it say the model number of your LG TV. If it doesn't say what model you have, then it reverts to generic stuff which generally does not work. Try to get it recognize your TV properly. The NVidia software is very particular about what it allows, and if you system isn't set up right it won't work. It's entirely possible that your laptop is hosed here because of the Optimus junk. That makes the connections go directly through the Intel adapter as you noticed, and if that's true you won't be able to get the NVidia software to recognize your TV properly. Look in the Intel software side and see if it sees the TV model properly. And, look for a way to bypass that Intel mode to get a direct connection. Maybe in your BIOS. You are going to need to do some research on your laptop, and maybe need to contact Lenovo directly for support. Well, Lenovo doesn't actually make gaming laptops..so that explains why is like that... If you want to use your laptop to play games in stereo 3D on a TV or monitor I know only 2 brands that offer that: - Alienware - Asus ROG laptops (some of them, not all) If the list is bigger please let us know:)
