Invariably I will be playing some game wiyhout my glasses on and decide to "give em a whirl" {never could get used to that ghost image and doubt that will ever be fixed)...anyhow...I put them on and start em up with the hot key......START EM UP WITH THE HOT KEY....nope. So I have to quit the game, reboot back into windows and then I will go to the video properties to check it and it always works. Why WON"T it work when called upon during a game yet run the useless nVidia 3D flick in the video properties to show me it is working? /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Why always after the boot? /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Don't get me wrong. I really like the glasses and when and if they will work they are cool! But there is nothing worse then getting in the mood for them during a game, putting them on and finding they won't turn on. /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Hardly worth quitting a good game and rebooting just to get a pair of glasses to function. Is there some kind of tweak or fix for this?

Make of shutterglasses? - I'm not too clued up on the habits of the different 3D specs available but others here are.
OS? There are problems with Win2000.
Driver version? - You need a matching pair & some games dont like certain drivers.
GFX card? - If it's pretty old it may have issues.
The games you've tried? - Some of them cannot cope with hotkeys very well & some just dont like stereo.
. . . . . . .
If you have XP, a matching pair of drivers, a recent (i.e. FX series onwards) GFX card and you've tried a ton of games then...
-uninstall your drivers (stereo and regular forceware)
-use DriverCleanerPro to remove any traces of your old drivers
-reinstall the latest pair
...and see if that solves it.

It better be.
