Want to try 3DVision Discover anaglyph, no stereoscopic option in NVIDIA Control Panel w/o second mo
I've tried reinstalling drivers, I'm on the most up-to-date drivers.

I'm on a Lenovo W510 laptop with a QuadroFX 880. The options for stereoscopic vision don't even show up in the NVIDIA Control Panel unless I have a second monitor plugged in and set it as the primary display.

How can I fix this? I'd prefer not to just have to plug into a monitor every time I want to play with the 3D settings, because I don't actually have one handy most of the time.

i'm interested too, but unfortunately there is no way to activate 3d vision discover (anaglyph) on laptop monitors
Hope nvidia will change his mind about that.

Try downloading the IZ3D driver. It has no such restrictions.

IZ3D gives you a virus and is a pain to get rid of it ends up where you have to reinstall but saying that maybe that is only the free version not the 1 you need to pay for but I have even posted on the IZ3D forums about it they removed all the posts so be curefull!

IZ3D driver does NOT give you a virus, you don't know what you are talking about. And the anaglyph mode is free, again, you don't know what you are talking about. They probably removed your posts from their forum because you are spreading lies and confusing legitimate customers. No wonder.

[/quote]Several antivirus interferes during the driverinstall because of the way it iz3d injects directx. It has to do this to alter the commands sent from the game. Nvidia of course doesn't have this problem since the stereodriver is in the graphicdriver. (Eventhough when running old-school legacy drivers nvidiastereo also needs antivirus turned off during install).
So: If you have problem during install it may be because your antivirus interferes and needs to be deactivated. Once installed you can activate your antivirus again without problem. Cheers!
