Second Card in SLI dosn't detect my Asus VG278H 3D monitor.
Hi. Problems with SLI. Short version. 1.The 3D test in the nvidia panel shows that Refresh rate is set to 60hz, yet my 60hz monitor connected to the second GPU in SLI shows out of range :( This is with 3 monitors 2benq60hz and 1 3D 120Hz. 2.Having the Benq's connected to first GPU and 3D monitor to second GPU. The 3D setup wizard no longer gives me the proper 3D option. Only options that requires external IR emmiters and 3D discovery :( Long Version. Iv been playing Semi Surround 3D the last year but after i upgraded to SLI i cant any more which is very sad. I have 2 BenQ 60hz monitors and 1 Asus VG278H nvidia Vision 2 monitor. I got the 3D monitor in the middel and the 2 benq's on each side. This allowed me to enjoy 3D on the center monitor while the sides where 2D. The 3D monitor runs at 60hz though. After installing the second GPU, connecting all 3 dispays with DVI ports. The VG278H to the first DVI port on the first GPU and Benq's on the second DVI and first DVI on the second GPU. With this i got the enable 3D vision and i did, but the result was Out of range on the Benq monitor connected to the second GPU :( The other Benq monitor connected to the first GPU works fine. Than i tried putting the 3D monitor on the second GPU thinking that if it wasn't able to recoginze that it was supposed to put out 60hz for some reason i could put the 3D monitor there. I did and it didn't work ither. Becuse now nvidia controll panel dosn't give me the same 3D option any more. The options i get requires external IR emmiters or the anaglyph 3D discover which i dont want to use. So im at loss her, no idea what to do. So i hope you nvidia people could help me. I wouldn't think it would be to much of a tweak fixing this. Ither fixing it so that the second GPU in SLI can output 60Hz whene it has been set to 60Hz in the nvidia panel. Or making the second gpu detect my Asus VG278H so i can enable normal 3D with my 3D monitor connected to the second GPU. Sorry for the messy post. I really hope someone from nvidia will respond to this.

Done a clean driver install? You won't get a reply from nVidia, but people here can offer suggestions.

Unfortunatly yes. Just installed windows 7 and latest nvidia driver. I dont think there is much any one els than nvidia can help me with. Unless someone knows of a setting that forces GPUs to use 60 hertz.

You might try unplugging the monitor for a few minutes to reset the emitter.

Try both BenQ monitors on second GPU, 3d monitor on first?

I have tested it and it did not work. It was the same problem as before whene i had the 3d monitor on the second GPU. It did not regognize the the 3D monitor as 3D ready. Giving me wrong options whene i enable 3d. It seems the GPU that has most attached monitors to it become the master. Btw i totallay forgot to thank you for your efforts helping me, they are greately appreciated!

Nvidia Bump. Can you fix this? I need the second gpu to send out 60hz while a 3D monitor is connected.
