Realtime 2D to 3D Image Conversion
Hi,

Looking for software that will take a normal image, and do a realtime conversion to 3D.
this way I could preview all my normal images and see what what look good in 3D as aposed to converting each one.

I found video filters that does this. Would think it's the same code, but for a single image.
Also found some image converters. but nothing in realtime viewing.

also, if anyone knows of a batch 2d to 3d converter, that would work as well. but not as nice as a realtime converter

If anyone knows of any, it would be extremely helpful.

Ahhh Ha!!!!!!!! found one

Cyberlink PowerDVD 11

will convert images, and video on the fly in realtime.
Feels like cheating! lol. Although looks really good, but not the same quality as the source being shot with a left and right eye.

but very impressive. If anyone knows of any others. Would be glad to know. :)

Having compared it using the left image and converting to the real thing, I can say that it doesn't even begin to compare. :(

You seriously think the 2d to 3d conversion on power dvd looks good? It doesn't even look 3D, it just looks like its distorted the image all to hell and looks like ass to me.... Nothing like real 3D at all, theres no way in a million years I would watch a movie converted like that lol.........

I didnt seem to have much problems. Some images did not convert right. The majority worked. But still not as good as the real thing :)

The PowerDVD conversion is butt-ugly. I would rather watch a movie on a 13" black & white TV with a busted VHS player than the bogus 3D experience provided by CyberLink. Even those gag "X-Ray Specs" they used to sell in the back of comic books will give better 3D.
