Hi ,

just downloaded it and at first it didnt go into stereo mode.

Then I searched a little for the ini files :

in Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\TryGame\Config
you have to change the TryEngine.ini

Things i changed are:

AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True

DynamicLights=False
DynamicShadows=False

and at least it goes into 3d mode and the bad lights are gone ... but I havent played it for long.

Well I bought game on steam and will play it BUT. Its a pain in the ass to fix...its hard to explain but you basically have to go through a list but the list is huuuuuggggeee. It literally takes 45 minutes to fix each issue minimum(shadows would take much longer). I tried, I really did but its not worth the amount of time.

Not all news is bad though. I did disable shadows and I wrote up a script so that the "crosshair" will dissapear unless looking at an activatable object. I will posting it on http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ tonight. Will PROBABLY, upload a video tommorrow for those interested in game.

@stepsbarto
Does AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True actually do anything? I dont think so tbh since I saw no hint of the 3D vision code. I wont mention it on post unless you know something. It sometimes causes issues when its not ment to be activated(game developer did nothing for 3d vision).

Darn, that's disappointing, but thanks for the effort EQ.

There has been a graphics patch that adds some "removal" options right into the settings screen.

- The game now remembers your resolution properly between launches intead of continuely defaulting back to what DX tells it should be the native resolution.
- Adds a motion blur check-box to the video options menu
- Adds a bloom check-box to the video options menu
- Adds a FOV slider to the video options menu with 85, 90, 95, 100, 110, and 120

Can someone try these disables and see if it improves the 3D visuals? Sounds like larger FOV, Increased convergence, disabled blur and bloom might look better.

Thanx all!

Motion blur: Always disable
Bloom: Preference
FOV: Preference
My "fix" is optional/preference as well. *Shrug* I like it because I hate how crosshair is stuck right in my face.

http://www.youtube.com/user/3DGAMINGMOVIES uploaded first 30 minutes of gameplay for those interested. Issues are not as apparent early game. I recommend setting depth to around 50%. The issue which I call "effect ghosting" is more apparent with higher depth settings.
