thanks, yet there was little or no improvement, expecially in AI crowded areas
as soon as I have time (and patience ;-) ) maybe I'll take the clean rollback way..........

Wanted to check Mike's fix (gratz Mike on a great fix btw!) and was disgusted to see the abysmal performance, whenever I look in a certain direction.
If anybody tried something and worked it out, please share. So far I erased the profile, reduced all video settings, and set affinity to all cores. Did not downgrade the drivers yet.
