3D Vision with Optoma HD67N projector
Hello, I have bought this projector which is 3D Ready, certified by Nvidia. It is link up using HDMI cable to Geforce 460 (3D capable). I have problem setting it up to play 3D bluray movie. Before I have had Epson TW6000 projector and 3D was working fine. I am using this projector and graphic and have Optoma ZD201 dlp link glasses. I am finding difficult to set it up. In Nvidia control poanel when I try "Enable stereoscopic 3D" takes me to the wizzard where I need to choose glasses (but i am not using Nvidia glasses). The resolution is set to 1280x720 120Hz. I do have Power DVD 12, Corel WinDVD and Arcsoft Total Media Theater [but keep crashing). When I play movie got got 2 similiar pictures next to each other (SBS, HSBS) when turning on 3D make it play in Anaglyph or some diffrent mode, can't change 3D output format to diffrent ones. I did as well change inf driver to make it recognize as Acer HH5360 but no help. Any tips are welcomed Cheers Marcin

your projector is certified for 3D vision, like Acer H5360, which means you should use Nvidia glasses and emitter to play with their 3d drivers. I have an Optoma HD67 (not N) and works great with nvidia 3d vision kit. If you want to use dlp link glasses i guess it should work with DDD drivers...

HI, thanks for replaying. I was informed by Optoma that they should work. But now they claiming they may not. I did order Nvidia 3D Vision 2 Kit (glasses and emitter) so finger crossed they will. What do you mean by DDD drivers?

In order to use DLP-link glasses, you need to put the projector into DLP 3D mode using an option somewhere in the projector's on-screen display (OSD). At least that's how my Acer 5360 works.

You should be ok once you get the kit, as you need to get the 3d emitter and glasses to use 3d vision. Some HDMI displays (Acer 5360BD) aren't directly 3d vision compatible, they only support 3d tv play (HDMI 1.4 framepacking), which uses the glasses that come with the display (dlp link etc).
