Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- was released today on Steam for PC.
I was actually surprised to see it work so well in 3D vision, unlike Street Fighter V (which at the moment is totally broken in 3D vision).
As you can see in the title the game is near perfect in 3D. As an Unreal Engine 3 title, it's pretty good on performance in 2D and 3D and I'm running this on my Desktop specs at the moment.
The only thing wrong with the 3D at the moment is some HUD elements seem to be missing when being rendered in 3D. I'll post comparison shots between 3D and 2D so you can see what's missing.
With help from you 3D fixers I'm sure there's an easy fix for this.

Yeah. Looks like there's depth but not like Witcher or Dead Space type of depth. Seems to only affect HUD more or less, also shadows from characters on some stages have issues.

Convergence looks far too low in those screenshots for an Unreal game - enable advanced key bindings in the control panel then hold control+F6 in game until the characters are near the screen (may have to hold the key for quite a while before you notice any change). Then please repost the screenshots taken with high convergence.

Thnx for the suggestion Darksword, I didn't realize the depth needed to be adjusted using CTRL+F5 and F6.
So I took some new screenshots.
The game does indeed have good depth.
Seems like it's just the on-screen prompt HUD and possibly some shadows that need tweaking.
I took some with low depth to show the training mode button prompts hud and then some screenshots with a lot of depth, and you can see that the button prompts disappear as a result but the 3d effect/depth really shows here.

2D fighter is 2D.
Don't think I'd personally play a 2D game just to have some HUD elements pop out, but all the power to anyone else who does.
Edit: Ok, weird. The first 2 images I looked at were distinctly 2D with the HUD popping out, but after seeing DarkStarSword's comments I checked a 3rd one, and it's definitely 3D. Very cool.

ok, those first three screenshots look a *lot* better now the convergence is higher- the game is fully in 3D (albeit with some depth inversion issues), and it looks interesting.
I think I know what you mean about the disappearing HUD - I've hit this before in UE games where the HUD is drawn with a very low W value compared to the rest of the game, but so long as we can separate them with Helix Mod that's fixable (either subtract the stereo correction formula, or normalise them such that W==1 or W==convergence). Shadows are also pretty easy to fix in UE3 since they all follow the same pattern.
The game has my attention now - what's the gameplay like? I can't say I had heard of this fighter before - how does it's combat system compare to other games in the genre?

I think some 3D elements on certain stages need attention (for example KY, Milia and Sol's Stages have foreground 3D objects as well as background 3D), and shadows (halos around characters as well) appear on certain stages. But it looks like a simple fix in some cases.
Gameplay wise, it's a very strict execution fighter, ie. timing of button presses combos are very fast. If you've ever played BlazBlue or a rhythm game with very quick pacing between combos it's like that. It's a really fun game once you get the hang of the combo system.
This game also has a really long story mode, something like 1hr +. For a fighting game that's a lot of cut-scenes and story. But I gotta admit, the developer of this game did some really amazing work with the 3D models and artstyle.
It's on Steam now for $23.99 (20% off till December 16th and includes all the DLC and the game soundtrack)
Lemme know if you want me to post more example screenshots. Sorry about not embedding them, I have no idea how lol.

Guilty gear games are generally pretty hard core and not for the faint of heart game-play wise. But I like them and the animation is always beautiful.
I buy every fighting game just because I want to see more of them on PC.
Whats the netcode like? ARCSOFT generally have a good reputation with this as well.
Oh well looks like I am about to find out.

I knew I had seen this game somewhere before, the original version has a 3D Video posted in the Dreamcast Emulator thread of the 3D Vision forum.
i'm uploading a serie of small clips testing my favorite DC games with this great emulator. They could be better but i'm not a patient guy editing video xD download and use side by side format, right image first. I will add some more in a few days.

WIP fix: https://s3.amazonaws.com/4everAwake/WIP_Guilty_Gear_Xrd_Sign.zip
- Utilized Helix's LUA script to fix the shadows & haloing issues.
- Pushed the combo indicator "# Beat" into depth
- Fixed various HUD & UI elements that had too much depth or convergence.
- Added a high convergence preset on the 'Tab' key. Use this when fighting.
- Added 2 more convergence presets on the 'Caps Lock' key. Use this for most cutscenes.
Remaining Issues:
- Character pictures at the end of the health bars have too much depth
- In story mode, some cutscenes are distorted.
I haven't played much of this so there may be other issues.
Instructions:
- Extract the above ZIP file into the directory "..\Guilty Gear Xrd - Sign\Binaries\"
