PCSX2 in 3d playstation 2 emulator
  12 / 16
I found the problem! The problem was that in the folder "System32" (Local disk C> Windows> System 32) there were not three files from your d3d11_fix folder I put them there, and the "PCSX2 D3D11 wrapper" was installed! 3D seems to have worked ... With very low performance. I think the problem is this! Is there a problem with this? I added "d3d9.dll" to the PCSX2 folder. But this did not change anything ...

Ignore that "adxgi.dll". It's just a renamed dll that I was testing. I don't know what's happening with your setup or why you did that thing in the "System32" folder. I think you are the first person that can't get the fix to work.

I deleted the old one and installed a new PCSX2 build. Then I used your previous correction "1.2.70.7" And 3D has earned! A week ago, I cleaned the computer by hand from serious viruses. Perhaps I deleted "D3D11.DLL" from the "System32" folder. Either, these files were not there at all. I two weeks ago, reinstalled WIN10. In any case, thank masterotaku for help. Without your help, I probably would not understand what's wrong!

so after all this time, i discovered i needed to download this 3D plugin for 3d to work....(this file is what i'm talking about https://forums.pcsx2.net/attachment.php?aid=60173) Anyways, the performance is WOEFUL, i'm getting like 15-20 fps...how do you people even play this? and i have a 1080ti and play vr games easily, so my pc isn't the problem. Is there something i'm missing or doing wrong? i'm playing sly 2 btw, even ratchet and clank is really slow. Advice?

The Ratchet & Clank games are amongst the most demanding unless you configure the speedhacks section to make them skip frames (being 30fps instead of 60fps). What's your CPU? It's the most important thing you need for this emulator, especially in 3D. My old i5 4670K (4.3GHz) wasn't enough for R&C, but my i7 7700K (4.9GHz) is fine even when I overclock the emulator.

Apparently (at least with my monitor), PCSX2 triggering 3D Vision or not without the help of Special K (once the PCSX2 exe can read 3Dmigoto as my installation instructions say) depends on whether Nvidia breaks windowed G-Sync mode or not with new drivers. I was using the latest ones, 398.86, and 3D wasn't working. I saw people mentioning 391.35 as the last good ones (https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/96afmi/geforce_hotfix_driver_version_39898/), so I reverted to them, and yep, PCSX2 is now triggering 3D as is. Now I remember how drivers broke and fixed windowed G-Sync again and again over the past year, so it kinda makes sense why some people can run PCSX2 in 3D without Special K while other people need it. This is as if the drivers detect something in borderless fullscreen and somehow convert it to fullscreen to trigger 3D in DX11. It's the fullscreen optimizations when they are enabled. Without them, PPSSPP doesn't trigger 3D in DX11, for example. And that emulator also doesn't work in 3D with the latest drivers but it does with 391.35. Edit: I hope they can fix this before or right after the release of the new GPUs...

Hi, first of all a heartfelt thanks to you masterotaku, for all the work done with the pcsx2 3d vision Support! excuse me for my bad english, i'm italian....now my issues: I followed all the installation instructions, including special K because i'm on win 7, I'm trying to play time crisis 2 and time crisis 3, the 3D works well in both games, except for the HUD, which I see double on the screen, I also tried to change the various shaderoverride regex in the d3dx.ini file, as you suggested, but nothing seems to work, I'm using PCSX2 1.5.0 dev 2459 and Gsdx cutie 10 video plugin....any advice to solve the problem? a thousand thanks and congratulations again! great work!

If the HUD has specific shaders, you should be able to make a ShaderOverride for them. As a last resource, press the "v" key to make one of the left/right cameras be the dominant one, so you'll at least always see the HUD with one of your eyes. Seeing your comment inspired me today. I'm preparing a very nice update (also with the latest 3Dmigoto) that has the individual game fixes as separate ".ini" files, and you'll just have to uncomment one line before using a game. This way is also better for compatibility between games, less headaches, and it's easier to share fixes between users, posting just one ".ini" file. It's going to be like this:
;include = GameFixes\Dark_Cloud.ini ;include = GameFixes\Dark_Cloud_2.ini ;include = GameFixes\Dawn_of_Mana.ini ;include = GameFixes\Devil_May_Cry.ini ;include = GameFixes\Dragon_Ball_Z_Budokai.ini ;include = GameFixes\Dragon_Ball_Z_Infinite_World.ini ;include = GameFixes\Dragon_Ball_Z_Sparking_Meteor.ini ;include = GameFixes\Dragon_Quest_VIII.ini ;include = GameFixes\Final_Fantasy_X.ini ;include = GameFixes\Final_Fantasy_XII.ini ;include = GameFixes\God_of_War.ini ;include = GameFixes\God_of_War_2.ini ;include = GameFixes\Jak_&_Daxter.ini include = GameFixes\Kingdom_Hearts_2.ini ;include = GameFixes\Persona_4.ini ;include = GameFixes\Ratchet_&_Clank_1-2-3.ini ;include = GameFixes\Soul_Calibur_3.ini ;include = GameFixes\Star_Ocean_3.ini ;include = GameFixes\Tales_of_the_Abyss.ini ;include = GameFixes\Valkyrie_Profile_2.ini ;include = GameFixes\Ys_IV.ini ;include = GameFixes\Ys_V.ini
Also, I've made an extra hotkey to put HUD from games at different depth presets. To make this not break other things that also need overrides, the new setting for HUD overrides has to be "=1" and for non HUD overrides "=2". This last type of overrides won't be affected by the HUD depth hotkey. There are some things I need to polish, but it should be ready today. I'll post again when it's uploaded.

Fix updated. There are updated instructions. I have included more than 20 files with ShaderOverrides that you can use, and they can be useful as an example if you want to make your own. There are also a few manual shaders in the "ShaderFixes" folder that I fixed (or mostly fixed) for FFX, FFXII and Jak & Daxter. If you think they interfere with another game, delete them.

thanks for the reply, I honestly do not know how to find the specific shaders for the HUD of time crisis 2 and 3 ... so I'll try with the "v" key ... but if you know how I can find the shaders of both games ... I'm here with a strained ear! anyway, congratulations again for the wonderful work, I will follow all the news! :)

nope ... unfortunately even pressing the v key, the hud moves more to the left or right, but remains a double image on the screen .... a different one for each eye .... thanks anyway!

When the "v" key is used, I don't stereoize one of the eyes at all, and the other eye does double the work to compensate, so the unmodified eye should be 100% unaffected by separation and convergence.
