First time Ive used 3d vision was with the Asus VG248QE, it was good but I had problems with monitor due to horrible eye irritation resulting in heavy head aches and feeling sick after few hours with it from just using it to read text on the web, so I had to return it.
Thinking on trying out Gsync, next monitor I ordered was Acer Predator XB270HAbprz, and once it came I tested the gsync part of it, which worked fine and I was happy, only to start up 3d vision and find that the monitor had severe ghosting issue, the image split was big and no adjusting could fix it. Thinking that previous monitor had no issues with 3d, it must be Acer that is having problem with the 3d vision. So I thought it was broken and returned it.
After that I ordered Philips Brilliance G-line 272G5DYEB which I got now, and when it came, out of the box it already had issues with ghosting. I realised then that Acer was not broken at all(now I regret returning it) and, 3d vision ghosting issue was something to do with drivers.
I installed, reinstalled drivers ranging from 344.16 (used with Asus originally with no issues) to 347.25 to no avail. However next day when I turned on my PC, did exact same process of driver de-installation/installation, 3d vision started to work great.
So I thought, I solved the issue and kept playing 3d vision games with no problems. However yesterday I decided to play some Arma 3 with Gsync, I turned off 3d vision in the Nvidia Control panel, turned on Gsync and it worked fine, except for one problem which was noticeable flickering on the black background, I thought it was some sort of desync with the cable and switched connection ports on my graphics card from one to two, which seems to eliminated the flickering issue.
However after I finished playing Aram 3 I decided to give a shot to War Thunder with 3d Vision. I did same operation in switching from gsync to 3d vision and when I run the game, it had exact same ghosting issue I faced when monitor just arrived.
I decided to do same again, I did a system restore to the day when 3d vision worked fine with this monitor but it did not help, I did un-instllation of drivers and re-installation drivers from range of 344.16 to 347.25 with no success. (display driver uninstallation tool everytime I deal with drivers) I decided to give another go next day.
Today I turned my PC on preparing for the driver change operations, I did a 3d vision wizard and to my surprise, ghosting was gone. I did nothing at all, just switched PC off over night and turned it back on. Which leads me to suspect that after using Gsync, 3d vision stops its proper performance for some reasons and that switch is not properly switched whilst being stuck somewhere in between until you turn off PC which then probably nulls that stuck switch(something similar to ram?).
Both Acer and Philips are Display Port 1.2 only and Asus was Dual Link DVI.
So I am wondering is anyone else have had similar experience?

Unplugging the monitor, or power off at night would presumably reset the module. Probably worth some experiments.
