Temporary "Ghosting"?

In case this is useful for other people, I have completely resolved this issue now. The problem is caused by having my wireless USB network adapter (Belkin in my case) plugged into the USB socket at the back of my PC, and the IR emitter also plugged into the USB port at the back of my pc.

They seemed to be interfering with each other.

I had some USB ports at the front of my case (but I had never bothered to wire them up to the motherboard). I wired the extra ports up, plugged the network adapter into one of the front ports, and I now have network access and 3D working together.

They just don't seem to like being close together, jeez......
