It's annoying me that it somehow worked and stopped working even without changing any driver . just changing something in the nvidia settings or maybe enable nvidia 3D from NVCP which changes the scaling . I can't figure what is the issue, it's like it's not doing 1:1 pixel and somehow it did one time before. what could be the issue ??!
hello everyone first of all I would like to thank the working spirits here for giving me the information necessary to fulfill a childhood dream of the ultimate gaming experience. to make a long story short, I bought an LG OLED C6 65" tv and built a very powerful computer with a nvida 1080 ti gpu and I have been successful in making this computer and tv work together to output jaw dropping 3d gaming experience. the only problem is that I cant play HDR games with the 'acer passive 3d lcd' edid override (from joker I think) and It could be nice to have an edid override that could provide this with native 4k resolution (I tried blue defender mod edid but there was a problem with lower resolution setting within games). nevertheless, it is awesome without it also! finally, I want to recommend everyone that happened to find LG tvs 2016 model (c6, e6 or g6).. if ypu have the money, don't think twice dudes..grab it like crazy.. kill for it ;) you wont believe your eyes.. thanks again everyone
I have the same TV as immersion22 and pretty much the same opinion about it. Will it ever be possible to have an EDID Override that supports 4k 3d and HDR? Just wondering (hoping it's possible)

So far I am not super overwhelmed with my c6p with 3d vision, ya its good but I have the dell 1440p monitor and the image is quite sharp and probably better ppi/dpi? than the tv. Still need to test more but the worst offender I think for the tv is the less resolution when you put the glasses on its like 3840x1080 or something and I probably need better glasses, I have read amazon reviews saying that aftermarket passive glasses are much better and eliminate a lot of ghosting.... The colors are great but not that far ahead of how my monitor looks.

I bought this aftermarket glasses.. I did a little research And bought the best glasses out there but a part from blocking light coming from the sides No real improvement in ghosting/crosstalk. Actually, on my tv there nothing to do in dark games regarding crosstalk.. always, when a bright white object sitting in front dark black background the crosstalk happen. Would be glad to have free crosstalk but I guess it's part of this tvs I think there is no oled with absolutely free crosstalk

I dont know exactly what I did, but everything started to look wayy better now, the colors are better and the ghosting has improved a lot. And it also seems that I gained a few fps, because I couldnt play shadows of mordor in 4k very well but now its pretty playable.

I finally got my backup OLED 6E. All in all, I had to go through 6 TVs to get two with perfect filter. And I'm not counting the two IPS ones before the OLEDs which did not have good filters. Quite a poor success rate, but maybe explained by the fact that it's the end of the line and many of these TVs are perhaps repackaged ones which have been returned.

Zapp just get a 3rd for 4k 3d surround triple 1080ti and your golden ;) Anyways, I found finally replicated the problem on my end. I have both my monitor and TV hooked up, so I went away one time and both displays went into sleep mode, when I came back I just woke it up by moving my mouse and only my TV woke up and it displays brighter colors.... which gives me a much better picture. Edit: also input lag is noticeably better

I'm surely gonna be smarter now with the 2nd backup purchase regarding the quality of its filter. I'm new to 3d vision and when I purchased my first 65 inch c6 I didn't know what crosstalk was.. but I have to say I feel the luckiest person on earth getting to know this technology and you guys in this forum

[s]For those of us with HDR displays (like 55E6), I noticed that the latest display driver (385.28) includes 10 bpc (and 12 bpc) options under Output color depth, in addition to the standard 8 bpc. [/s] [s]Its great to see this addition![/s] Sorry, wrong mode. YCbCr444 still limited to 8 bpc... Has anyone experimented with difference in quality between YCbCr444 8 bpc vs YCbCr422 10bpc/12bpc?

ok I am new to 3D and have some questions. I tried superdepth 3d since I am familiar with reshade and seemed easy, but found out I prefer 4k 2D to "fake" 3d. I then tried TriDef ignition which was terrific in SBS or TB for witcher3, fallout4, alien isolation in 1080p/60...but the list of compatible new games is virtually non existent. I did not try nvidia 3dtv play because I saw it was limited to 1080p/24 ot 720p/60, but now see that there is an EDID override that can correct this. So I have been researching this, but the more I read the more confused I get. the basics: I have a Sony XBR-55X850B passive 4k HDTV (does not have UHD) using HDMI to PC Nvidia 1080ti Is there an EDID INF file that will work with this tv, or is it trial and error (or is Sony not possible)? do I start with the 4k acer INF? and 3dtv play should not be installed? One thing to note is this TV ONLY accepts a 1080p 3D signal, so I can not send anything above this. I assume I can control this by choosing the resolution in the game settings (like tridef)? also will I be able to play games in 2D at 4K after I do this INF EDID override (in other words, easily switch back and forth from 4k 2D games to 1080p 3D games without having to change anything)? the last question I have, is if this works what kind of output format is sent? I see a lot of talk about interleaved but I am not familiar with that. My TV has SBS or TaB, but there was one movie I watched that was not split screen like those and my tv automatically recognized the signal and it was great 3D - is that interlaced? or maybe I was just drunk, as this was a while ago so I forget the movie. anyway, I appreciate any help as I am hooked on true stereoscopic 3D and don't want to go back to 2D gaming...
