I tried playing the new black ops cause every one was talking about it. Its support was pretty garbage, I would of would of put up with but game was terrible in campaign. They just send waves at you. Its like when you see ants fleeing an ant hill but you see one determined ant trying to get its food inside.
Well DS3 has seperate campaign for co-op I heard. I havent tried it yet though. It may of not diminished it but I do agree about RE5, re5 wasnt that bad but it def. diminished it.

I think all of the Treyarch COD games have a half decent story modes, the cold war setting is good in my opinion. Though, BO one and two both have stupidly abrupt "YOU WON!!!!!!!!!!" endings. MW2 and 3 are a total joke.

I tried playing bad company 2 recently the depth of crosshair is a bit off[not drastic] but crosshair is friggin huge. It just so easy for something to hit that big stop sign. It really took away from experience I didnt pick it up since.
It may be due to nvidia drivers messing things up because same issue with bulletstorm though its not that off in Bad Company 2. I was pretty close to running dx9 and ripping it and just blasting the forced AA. But wasnt certain if it was just me.
Though in all fairness though I am knocking military games. I found Battlefield 3 quite interesting, graphically impressive and it keeps a cinematic aspect that others badly lack.

I always have crosshairs turned off and use iron sights instead, more immersive for me that way. Theres no floating crosshairs in real life -but lived and breathed military this and that when i was young so its probably somewhat of a personal thing.
...although im a peacenick and treehunger today...

I 100% agree.... can't turn it off in any option and googled a fair bit. Id be interested if you knew a way.
I pretty much play either no crosshair unless its not invasive like Dishonored. I really like if ironsights are available but I really dont mind the slight accuracy lost for cost of immersion either way. Bioshock 2's was just the size that it didnt hamper it anymore and id mind. This bad boys got a 30% it and grows with recoil. That doesnt work depth buffer.

I'm loving Dishonored right now, reminds me so much of Thief: Deadly Shadows, and again I find myself drawn into the stealth roll. I don't even really like stealth games, besides Thief and Assassin's Creed, but I always find myself sneaking around and killing everyone when they least expect it. :D
edit: the same with Tomb Raider, well over 90% of my kills were made with the bow, mostly headshots.

I guess you can do it the following way, but it may not be able to be turned off in the SP campaign, can't rememeber.
"Yes there is. Go to your Documents->BC2 and go to GameSettings.ini and next to crosshair=1, change it to crosshair=0."

I went through those posts. I saw that one, I think its possible to remove in MP but not campaign.
Ill probably rip it when I get a chance or at least try it and give it a shot. Apparently its only features are AA and soft shadows. I can live without soft shadows. Better aa in nvidia inspector though. At least I will be able to stomach it.
