Actually, mirrors have left/right eye images reversed and skybox is a tiny bit weird, but apart from that, yes, its superb.

Haven't tested it with 3D Vision, but it's spectacular with the DK2 (day one glitch aside).

Playing it with Playseat + Oculus DK2: make 3D surround config useless. Seriously.

I tested OR DK2 by myself and sold it after a few days. Pixelcounting destroys the immersive caracter of 3D gaming and makes DK2 totally useless. You should better sell DK2 and your playseat and order 3D Vision Surround, maybe with projectors. In 2-3 years OR could be an option, but not today.

I'm also playing this with DK2 + G27 and it's amazing, I also prefer it to 3DV on my 100'' 3d projector screen, at least for this kind of games, the feeling of being there inside the car is incredible. Lately I only play this and ELite Dangerous too.

The game remains pretty playable, nice, and extremely fun in Pro mode with FFB wheel. After that, I will never play a racing sim on a classic 3D display anymore. [/quote] Your making that statement is like someone telling you your opinion is wrong. Pixel structure is perfectly fine for most people (not all things are equal and you do get used to it). DK2 is amazing with AC. Even with 3D Vision, I could never really tell where my car was positioned on the track when in a hard top car. With VR, when you're racing the F40, you can see/feel your entire space and now exactly how close you are to the apex on the right side. I'm not going to tell you what you should feel, but there's no going back for me. Even with DK2, it's good enough to qualify as complete game changer for racing sims.

All this enthusiasm about DK2 makes me anxiously looking forward for the CV, a question, are stereoscopic 3D and VR mutually exclusive on the DK2 on this game? Why nobody talks about it? How about 3d stereo on any other game? Possible? Not possible?

Yes. Rift VR and 3D are the expected standard. Don't think anyone has even tried to release a 2D only game. So all VR games are 3D. But you can't just load up a non-VR game and expect it to work. It won't. Nvidia has teased a feature called auto 3D which will supposedly allow 3D Vision compatible titles to be played on the Rift (in 3D). We'll see how well it works in practice. In fact, when the Assetto Corsa patch went live, there was a missing config file that made the IPD default to 0. Which meant there was zero 3D. There was an absolute firestorm about how awful it was. It was fixed the next day. And people went from pitchforks to OoooooooooooO. Games set the default depth and convergence so it has a lifelike scale. Which means you're not going to get toyification (at least unless a developer wants it to look like a toy). Still, for something like Assetto Corsa, you wouldn't want it anyways. When you're driving the X-Bow, and you can see life size shocks moving on the hood, it's amazing looking.
