Although there was a post on Helix' blog about the game, there was never a fix for the broken flashlight and lens flare effects (at screen depth). If someone fixes this game, I will send 100 USD in bitcoin! 120 for a Canadian like me!
That's how much I wanna play this game in perfect 3d...

Hey!
Unfortunately, our fixers receive no money or other types of appretiations like that.
I would happy too if we get fully fixed version of this great game, but for now you may only one option - to play original. I never heard someone is interesting in fixinf Redux version of Metro games. Since the release was made one major fix and that's all.
Cross ur fingers man

If you unlock convergence, you have to use tesselation = normal.....otherwise you get some ugly stuff (wrong lights and other things). Can you upload a screenshot.
I will add the aiming presets (Right Button Mouse and Left Trigger for xbox controller)

DHR, how to unlock convergence in lates Nvidia driver (340+)? I tryed different ways with original games but was no success. Convergence unlockers from Helixmode work only with some older drivers (320-330) for me

@ksyon
For this game, instructions are in the helixmod page.
[quote]Unlock Convergence (Thank to Kingping1):
- add: "r_dbg_stereo_auto_separation 0" (without quotes) to the user.cfg file and make read only

Currently, I'm running with locked convergence. The issue is typically with lens flares and more importantly, the flashlight. Actually the same issues that were found in Metro Last Light, however it appears more frequent in this new version...
I will upload a screenshot of the issues shortly.

try unlocking convergence.....never try this game (redux) with locked convergence.
At least with unlocked convergence, flashlight dn lensflares looks ok.

I've added "r_dbg_stereo_auto_separation 0" (without quoted) to user.cfg, and made it read-only (with tessellation set to normal), however it hasn't seemed to unlock the convergence settings in the game - I'm still able to try and adjust convergence, but it immediately flickers back into place as it was before. Could you confirm that this method is working for you outside of the hud? Many, many thanks!

I tried a lot, but nothing works, only if you set the depth under 30% will stop the disappearing, but thats not playable for me...

Did anyone try to cycle the frustum and see if that helps?
I played Metro 2033 Redux only for the Spartan mode... and while the poping of object was annoying (in some areas more than others) it was defo playable...
or..
you can launch Metro 2033 (original game) which is flawless in 3D Vision:)
Same goes for Metro:LL vs Metro LL Redux
(Metro Redux is optimized for consoles thus the very small view frustum and improper 3D Vision Rendering... Also notice the small DISK size as well;)) )

Tried cycling frustum culling with no avail, and unfortunately as absolutely amazing as this looks and playing it in hudless mode is so beautiful, I can't stress enough how badly I want this game to work with 3d vision, the object popping is definitely not playable... like at all. Happens around every corner in the stations, and my shots are often hitting invisible objects when I'm peaking around corners (this was just too far for me), characters hats are popping in and out of there is another character in front of them, it's really brutal. This is really unfortunate because I just broke 2 hours on steam and cannot get a refund now and really only bought it when there were no reports of errors or cons for helixmod at the time, claiming "3D Ready out of the box"... I don't know when the hell the 3d vision was working with this game, but with a gtx 1080 on the latest drivers, this is not playable, don't waste your money like I did people!!
TLDR?: Metro 2033 Redux 3d Vision is terrible, with or without helixmod for unfortunately one reason, objects pop around every corner, AVOID! (someone more experienced than I please hack the frustum culling!?!)
