There's a sale going on at greenmangaming too, I recommend Rise of the Argonauts http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/es/en/pc/games/rpgs/rise-argonauts/ it's 75% for 2.24 euro and you can add the WINTER-SALE20-GROGRE voucher to make it 1.80. It has a fix here http://helixmod.blogspot.com.es/2013/06/rise-of-argonauts.html and I was surprised with this game, even though combat is average, it's a pretty interesting RPG with good characters and story, a bit like a low budget mass effect, and it was great in 3d
All hail 3d modders DHR, MasterOtaku, Losti, Necropants, Helifax, bo3b, mike_ar69, Flugan, DarkStarSword, 4everAwake, 3d4dd and so many more helping to keep the 3d dream alive, find their 3d fixes at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ Also check my site for spanish VR and mobile gaming news: www.gamermovil.com
[quote="mike_ar69"]Not quite Steam Sale - but BF4 is $20 on Origin. Same engine as DAI and my fix script works on it, so this one might end up being fully fixable. Not sure yet, bo3b and I are looking at some oddities, but it should be. I only have one crummy screenshot, but you can see where it's going, especially if you have looked at this in CM mode which is really flat.

Excellent recommendation 4everawake on WRC Powerslide. Good game that looks great in 3d...make sure to use vsync on control panel and not in-game.
Fun racer.

Thanks for the WCR Powerslide recommendation. Will have to check it out.
So far the sales have been a big disappointment. It's still early, and it may get better somehow, but it's not only me, people are starting to notice.

I haven't bought anything yet, apart from Revengeance. All the games on my wish list have had much bigger discounts only weeks ago during the Thanksgiving sales (for example Castlevania waas 80% off, now it's 0% off by default).
Other strange things are happening such as:
Dark Souls was 75% off while Dark Souls 2 was discounted during a daily deal. I specifically checked the 75% off deal duration on Dark Souls that day on the game page, since I was undecided. It said: "Deal lasts until 2 Jan". Guess what. When the DS2 deal ended, DS1 was back to 66% off, even if the game page claimed the deal would last until 2 Jan.
These little inconsistencies and lower discounts than what we've sometimes seen though the year for the same games is indeed very disappointing, in the context of what Valve led users to expect. Winter Sales were the most exciting of the year. Let's hope they get better next week, or at least that they change back the format next year. Or something. I adapted my buying habits based on the big sales, and this year the winter ones totally fail to impress, at least in my opinion.

Man, so far the Steam sales for this year is absolutely shit....not only have they adjusted all the list prices, but I can't believe that older titles that you could get a few years back at $4.99 are now sitting around $7-$10. The duration for flash sales and daily deals are farther and fewer between. The new style and interface is the worst they've had in awhile and I guess they changed for the sake of change. I have only purchased one title "Shadow Warrior 2013" which actually is a steal for $4.39 CAD considering the quality of the game, but other than that, nothing of interest. Let's see what happens in the next few days.

Anyone participating in the early access to Albedo: Eyes from Outer Space?
looks interesting.

Judge Dredd: Dredd vs. Death, is an oldie that works decent in 3D vision with the exception of crosshair issues. $1.19

Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death is $0.99, it's a underrated game. Unfortunately 3D vision can be enabled but is messed up.

Yet again, nothing worth buying.
Like Stryker observed, older games used to have bigger discounts in earlier sales.
Steam is definitely up to something, but GreenManGaming is matching Steam almost one for one.
This is starting to look extremely suspicious, and if one was inclined towards conspiracy theories, you could say that it is a concerted effort together with the disruption of The Pirate Bay website, to strike back and get some revenue.
More cynically and realistically, they are probably just trying to see what are the price slots they can get away with. They are already experimenting with keeping the base price unmoved, with certain games still costing 49.99 even if they came out one year ago, and simply adjusting the discount percentage, as we are seeing more and more games with 80 or 90 % off.
What a mess. They will probably get away with it, too.

I know that in the past using a US address has worked, but I have not tried this since last year. I still have an Amazon account which has an address for a hotel. The reason I ask, Steam has changed many things since last year and I was wondering if region lock is an issue now for game keys. Has anyone had any problems?
