Anyone tried it yet? Has it carried over the issues from 8.1?
If not, I'll give it a shot and report back. I'll need a list of games to test. I've personally had trouble with the Arkham series, so I might start there. Any others?

yea I would be interested to know. although im not really keen on the look of windows 10. And I am having very few issues with 3d on windows 8.1. Although I believe some people 8.1 is still not working right. Metro mixed in with the start menu the way they have done it on windows 10 to me looks stupid and I cant see it working that great, wont know until I try it tho

I've recently installed it.
2D performance seems great, but I'm having issues in 3D similar to those experienced in Win8.1
Tomb Raider Benchmark - 2D (3D disabled in NVCP) - 118FPS Average, 120 FPS Max.
Tomb Raider Benchmark - 2D (3D enabled in NVCP) - 60 FPS Average, 80 FPS Max.
Tomb Raider Benchmark - 3D - 30 FPS Average, 40 FPS Max.
Playing the actual game in 3D was unplayable due to excessively low framerates (felt even worse than benchmarks would have suggested).
I have yet to try other games in 3D.
Hm, that's not good at all. If you've already tested it, I see no reason to do it too. Have you tried the Arkham games? Or anything other than Tomb Raider? Tomb Raider is known to have 3d problems under 8.1 too.
Guys, guys :D Stop being so desperate, windows will be the last thing that fixes immersion.... Im telling you - Windows 7 64 bit and thats the deal )
And what if DX12 is exclusive to Windows 10? Or doesn't become available on Win 7? I'm pretty certain you wont be telling us all the same thing then will you?

Yes, you are right I wont be.
But I will judge for myself if it will be even worth taking, the new stuff, dx12 might be good but what other snooping stuff will windows include, thats for me private person to decide.
I will not sacrifice my privacy for any dx12 or dx1337

Small update.
Ran Arkham Origins, everything seems fine. Benchmark runs at completely stable 60 FPS with 3D on (most graphical settings maxed). Tried playing game, seems just fine as well.
On Tomb Raider, i noticed that disabling SLI had zero impact on framerates in 3D benchmark, but made game subjectively less choppy in actual gameplay (still too choppy to be playable). Forced to conclude that SLI under 3D for Tomb Raider just doesn't work, but increases frame time variance.
What other games can we think of that had 3D performance issues specific to Win8.1, that I can check to see how Win10 behaves overall with 3D?

I wouldn't be using tomb raider to test 3d it has been broken for ages it use to run really well and for about a good 6 months now it has not worked im pretty sure a NVidia driver broke it. I can get it working but performance is never what it use to be

Tomb Raider works great in 3d on Windows 7/8.
Throex, could you possibly test a bit of a selection of 3d games, and report your results? It sucks if it breaks Tomb Raider (or anything else), but it would be good to get a sense of the problem's scale.

i will give tomb raider a go on windows 7 and see how it runs as i normally use 8.1, tomb raider use to be awesome but I'm sure a nvidia update broke it, i mentioned it ages back on these forums and so did a few others. Switching between double buffer and triple buffer fixed the problem but it was still not as good as it use to be. I use to get really good fps in it but not anymore

As mentioned, Arham Origins seems to run fine, and mention if there are specific games you want me to test.
Obviously i won't have all, but for 3D vision games, i have a fairly broad selection.
All of this is just tested from Bandicam and playing the same little bit of the game multiple times, and keeping an eye on the FPS counter - Scientific, it ain't.
Styx: Master of Shadows - With community 3D mod.
Solid 60 FPS no matter what. Even with Vsync off, couldn't get it to go over 60 FPS in 2D.
Remember Me - With community 3D mod.
3D - 28-33FPS
2D (3D enabled in NVCP) - 35-40 FPS
2D (3D disabled in NVCP) - 75-80 FPS
Witcher 2 - No Mods.
3D 50-60 FPS
2D (3D Disabled in NVCP) - 115-130 FPS
EDIT: I'm a little unsure on how Bandicam reacts to 3D in displaying FPS.

Just gave tomb raider a go on both windows 7 and windows 8.1 in 3d and the problem it use to have seems to be gone. It performs the same on both. Pretty much all the games i have tried so far perform the same on both windows 7 and 8.1 i have not had a game yet in 3d that performs better on 7 thats not to say it can't happen but thats what I'm finding. Be interesting to see how windows 10 is tho

Well can only speak for my system. Been using Windows 10 since it came out (preview). I have Windows 8.1 on ssd drive. Anyway on my system there is not one game that is slower. Faster.. not sure have not tested back and forth.
The OS is faster then Windows 8.1. On this reg drive I had Windows 8.1 before and it was always slow. Yet Windows 10 is very fast. I like it. As of right now your only going to see VERY small differences if any as in start menu. Wait till next year to see the best changes.
Tomb raider 3d or not runs flawless. Looks super..fast..
