Glad you got it working in the end, of sorts.
Still waiting for VS to get back to me from about 4 weeks ago. (thank god for the end user forums as you say !!!)
Whilst the "Depth" is pretty good,...i dont get any pop out really, and as i mentioned, if i over do the converegence the images seperate to much for the glasses to render as a single image, and i get blinding head aches.
Still, i'm hope hopefull that titles and movie content will not be to far away....
The Trials and tribulastions of being an Early Adopter i guess !!!!!! /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> /yes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
For more pop out lower the depth and up the convergence
For more depth up the depth and lower the convergence
Mainly the problem is that games arent really made for 3D properly, so I imagine in the future certain effects can be made to pop out with in-game convergence

Finally, after many months of pain and anguish the new drivers (CD1.15) have now detected my PJ as “3D Ready / Compatible) and displays the little logo.
I no longer have to wear my glasses upside down.
They also seem to have reduced what little (and it was minor) ghosting I had.

So this projector works perfect now with the glasses? The PJD6210 is actually really damn cheap now. I really want to pull the trigger, but after reading this WHOLE thread, its safe to say I am hesitant, lol. :D
EDIT: Also curious if any has hooked up a PS3/360 through this. I'd imagine a need a slew of cables and a switcher. D:

Well the PJD6211 works perfectly now with the CD 1.15 drivers.
The 6220 were the previous models which were notorius......in the UK the PJD6211 is < £400 with the VAT.
so whilst not pennies its still not a vast amount of money.
There is also the new Acer which has just appeared on the list of compatibles which is 1280 x 720 res,
but for the life of me i cant seem to find a UK seller.

hi
Just tried all evening yesterday to setup my computer with the PJD6221 with same problems that you have reported earlier.
Can´t recon the 3D monitor.. swapped eyes and so on.
I have tried with CD1.09, CD1.13 and CD1.15 with no luck
Also tried to change cable from from pure VGA to VGA with a adapter to DVI for th graphiccard.
DVI to VGA cable.
So first thing.... do I need to have the "monitor" driver for Viewsonic installed?
I have tried with both installed and not, but I also have some failure during x64 install of the driver from Viewsonics homepage.

I found that i could only get my PJ to work with the VS cable. Others were able to use different longer cables, but i stuck with the VS one supplied to be on the safe side.
My PJ is now detcted with both CD 1.15 & 16 drivers.
I use the generic Windows PnP monitor driver, but the Nivida Control panel / driver does display the correct PJ name.
In the PJ settings i have the 3D enabled on, not sure if this make a jot of difference.
Refresh rate in Nvidia control panel is set to 120 htz.

Good afternoon all! Something the topic is completely not active. Really anybody does not have problems?
I have PJD6211 and PJD5351.
Still 2 months ago I could tell that all works perfectly, but after an release of drivers 196.21 both my projectors have a problem - the red message "non stereoscopic mode", and at PJD6211 again it is necessary to overturn points. I wrote about a problem in a theme "3D Weekly guestions" but with 196.75 nothing have changed.
Owners of the given models, whether are at you such problems?

I have a PJD6210 and the 3D was working great for a few months, however now I am getting the blue ghosting problem. It comes and goes, the cycle of no ghosting to blue ghosting to no ghosting again takes about 1 minute and this cycle repeats continuously. I've tried lowering the contrast and the blue colour temp. but this didn't help any. I had some success (reduced ghosting, but not completely removed) using 800x600 res instead of 1024x768.
Has anyone any new ideas on how to fix this nasty blue ghosting problem?

Only difference was that Devil May Cry worked (with the factory default trick). Still no go on Prototype and Burnout.
What can one make of this. Blue Ghosting is still always present as well. Driver Issue? Projector? WTF!
I want to try the CD 11 drivers, but I think Ill wait a bit.
Oh well, Ill just stick with the POS until something better comes along, maybe new drivers or firmware will make a difference...

I would consider selling my VS for the ACER if i could find the damn thing.

Funny to see my old thread.
I too have problems with these drivers,196.21 , and have mentioned it on another thread. (I had to invert my glasses again !!)
I simply rolled my drivers back to 195.66 and await the new ones to arrive.
