nvidia 3d glasses dont start in some games(WoW is one) help
When i go into some games, my IR emitter will detect it as good to go and my screen will spazz out like its supposed to, but my shutter glasses dont start, this has only happened in 2 games that ive tried being half life 2 and WoW. The glasses arent broken by any means, when i play Starcraft II it works fine and whenever i do the 3D setup deal the glasses are flickering good as can be.
I've tried to press the IR power button ingame which turns off the spazz and when i turn it back on the glasses screens flicker then stop, no bueno.
Please if there is a fix to this i really would like to get these games working in 3d

I have been using my 3dvision set-up in wow for a while now very successfully - it is my favorite game in 3d so far, and I actually find that 3d sometimes gives you an edge since you can actually judge front-to-back distance better (particularly WRT AOE) in raids. Have you found the 3D settings in the wow video set-up menu under advanced? All I can say is (a) make sure 3D is enabled in-game (b) make sure that you are in full screen mode not windowed full screen (and at a resolution supported by your display device), (c) turn water effects down to "fair" unless you like bleeding out of your ears and (d) learn to live without the bartender add-on, since it just doesn't seem to work correctly with cooldowns.

The Wow issue is almost certainly the in game settings.
In the Video options under advanced, make sure stereo is enabled and use the sliders there (and only those) to set depth and convergence.
The first thing WoW does when it loads is override the control panel settings, it has issues with the UI depth if you use the NVidia convergence controls once the game has started.

If the emitter light turns ON when u enter the full screen you shouldn't have an issue about the glasses if they'r charged.. Just check you'r running it in full screen not windowed maximized mode and check 3d settings under the advanced video.. Check the sticky WoW solution thread also.. I had to edit config file manually because the game didn't save 3d options earlier. Idk about it now after many patches...

I have the same problem with Tiger Woods 2008 and Top Spin 2: the lenses do not flip (although their light is on, showing the glasses are on). The immage is the same with or without glasses, although it's ghosted, as it needs to be for stereo. In addition, my immages shake/tremble horizontally.
The games run in full screen mode, the IR emitter is green, the games are recognized as 3D stereoscopic games (stereo starts automarically when game starts),the graphics options are set as recommended by the small green window that pops up on right lower corner when the game starts in stereo mode, or when stereoscopy is turned on, the drivers are the latest.
I can play other games OK in 3d Vision.

Rig: I7 950, GTX 470 with latest drivers, CRT monitor at 120 Hz, Win 7 64Bit, DirX 11 (diagnostic didn't find any problem). Controller connected to computer via USB.
