I did the BETA NVIDIA 295.51 install and it appears that theSamsung UA46D7000 has been left off the supported TVs list for 3DTV which isstrange as it was working successfully in the previous version.

After the upgrade I now do not see it in the supported listbut do see the UA55D7000 which is the same model only with a larger screen.

When look at the NVidia control panel I no longer see thelogo for 3DTV which I did see before the upgrade. I can still see my 3dtv play licence isactive if I go to help – system info.

After the install I had to do the 3d set up again but didnot see the 3DTV logo when install completed. I then ran the NVIDIA_3DTV_Play_Activation_Utility.exeto see if that helped but it did not recognize a 3d tv.

I then did a clean install with default settings sameresult.

When I went back to previous version of video driver (290.53) 3DTV is now “sort of” working again but I stillno longer see the logo.

Basic Setup:

System: Win7 64bit pro,

Graphics: NVidia GTX 590

Duel Display: Samsung UA46D700 and and Acer GD245QH

PowerDVD 11

All components updated to latest version.

Questions:

1) How do I clean all this up to get a cleanworking version ?

2) How do I get the Samsung UA46D7000 added to thesupported list?

3) Can I get the software to recognise my UA46D7000as a UA55D7000 as this should work fine.

4) Any other suggestions on how to get this workinguntil the supported TV list is fixed (other than roll back and wait) ?

Thanks.

use the driver sweeper and that will uninstall all the driver and clean up the mess then go with either 290.53 or 290.36 and check.

You could file a request for the 3DTV support if you haven't done it.
