UE3 already works wonderfully well with it. Hell, I play UT3 more than anything else in 3D vision. I hope they don't fix it 'til it's broke.
Considering the amount of time nvidia spends profiling each new Unreal Engine 3 based game, i consider it a good thing.
The problem is that this pre-optimisation will only work for new games, and not with the other UE3 games that don't have a working profile (Bioshock 2 anyone ?)
I bet game developers in the final development stages won't update the game engine any more in order to avoid creating bugs everywhere throughout their game code.
So we won't see any benefit from this for at least a year or two.
Still, i would have preferred a proper stereo3D engine rather than just optimisations specifically for the nvidia driver.
Having an engine pre-optimized tells the game developers : "you don't need to learn the language of 3D, and you don't need to optimize your scenes to make it look better, everything will be 3D automatically like magic". This is not the way to go.

They're making actual changes to the engine to support 3d Vision so I think it's more than talk. We'll see what happens with future games.
