oky so i got the newest graphic drivers and stereoscopic drivers
running a gf 9800gt X2 and the screen is a Philips 220XW so the connection i made is as the 120hz screen's (so not as a dlp hdtv)
philips ensured me the screen can run 3d bhut i cant select any refreshrate besides 59 or 60hz , i'f already checked and got the newest drivers installed for the screen also
so i run the setupwizard from nvidia for the stereoscopic 3D for the ir transmiter selection i take the most logical one , singel ir device in the room (considering its the only one) up to selecting monitor there i select crt monitor stil working fine, at the part where setup tells me to activate me glasses the piramid lights up bright green so i turn on glasses they give me a green light also and flikker rapidly for a brief time right away and when i gota select wich imiga i see with each eye its both the same image (the on at the right wich is showing the triangel and the other one mixed , these 2 are showing like there are rapidly switching resulting in a "blured" version of them both bhut stil visable and when i hit next it says setup failed after wich the only option is, go check the nvidia website so here i am
the glasses only flikker in the beginning for the first second or so after that they look kinda dead, turning off the piramid and turning it back on results in the glasses flikkering the first second again and dead after again
anybody know's how to solve this?
i'f been reading out the forum the entire afternoon trying to get it to work
its a monitor
The only specs I could see for a 220XW state 56-75hz in which case it's not compatible.

Its hard to find information on this screen but it appears that it runs at 120Hz internally (For a smoother picture apparently) but does not support any 120Hz Input Formats (I.e. Dual DVI or HDMI1.4)
My advice is to return it and get a verified 120Hz screen, the Asus VG236 is very good from what I have read here.
