No 3D Vision in NVIDIA Control Panel
After a long time I tried to use my Samsung 3D TV to play Batman Arkham Asyhlum in 3D. In game settings it says that Sterioscopic 3D is disabled in Nvidia Control Panel. When I go to Nvidia Control Panel I don't see anything about Stereoscopic 3D. All I can see is 3D settings tab just like in the picture. I made a LOT of research. I tried to disable my Integrated Graphics Card in Nvidia Control Panel, Intel HD Graphics Control Panel and BIOS. I don't have anything releated in BIOS and the other two just didn't work. I tried to reinstall my drivers a couple of times and I don't have an option to install 3D vision in Custom Install manu. I tried to install 3D driver seperately from NV3DVision folder under my C:\NVIDIA folder but in gave me an error: "Primary display adaptor does not have 3D Vision support"(I translated this from my native language). And I also tried to install it with my 3D TV connected as primary display and still gave me same error. My computer is Asus K56CB with Nvidia GT740M + Intel HD4000 graphics. I know that my laptop supports 3D, I played Crysis 3 with no problems about one year ago with same laptop and TV. Can anyone help me out please what I am missing? My control panel: http://s2.postimg.org/h6hxs7ucp/NVIDIACONTROLPANEL.png (sorry this is on my native language I could not find a way to turn it into English)

Those settings you're linking to are just generic 3D settings. And by 3D, I don't mean stereoscopic 3D. I mean "polygon 3D settings" that everyone has. Do you even have 3D software? Do you have a 3D Vision monitor you use? If not, and you're just trying to run Nvidia 3D on an HDTV, you need to download the 3D Play software. You have to pay for that, although there is a free trial you can install. Crysis 3 had built in 3D. Anything could run it in 3D. That's not the same as having a computer with Nvidia 3D software installed.

Note that 3DTV Play will only function if your nVidia GPU is connected to the HDMI output, rather than the Intel GPU. This guide shows you how to check this. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/571045/

Isn't this enough to be able to use it to play my 3D games?(at least at hardware level) I will check out this software you mentioned. Thanks for your reply.

As Paul33993 pointed out Arkham Asylum and Crysis have stereoscopic support built into the game itself. You need to choose a format supported by your Display and not 3D Vision. For games that do not have native stereoscopic support built in, you need a middleware. Such as TriDef or 3D Vision/3DTV Play/Optomized for Nvidia GeForce. To use Nvidia's middleware, the video output must be directly routed off of a Nvidia GPU. It will not work with an integrated GPU from Intel/AMD. Look at the 4th picture down in the link Pirateguybrush provided, if there is a HDMI output connected to the Nvidia GPU, you could use 3DTV Play to make other games work in 3D. Note: if you are using Vista, stereoscopic support was dropped around driver 310. Also, enable the hot keys if you are able to use 3DTV Play. http://helixmod.blogspot.de/2012/06/how-to-unlock-convergence-in-locked.html

Well looks like I'm out of luck. My laptops HDMI input is connected to Integrated Graphics Card. Here is a screenshot of my Control Panel: http://s24.postimg.org/5qfg2201x/HDMI.png "Dizüstü Ekranı" is my laptops screen. Both connected to Intel HD Graphics. Only remaining input on my laptop is a VGA input just next to the HDMI input but I don't think that it is connected to Nvidia graphic card.(I can not test it since I do not have a VGA cable) Is there anything I can do about this? A software level solution or something like an adapter?

In Crysis situation, I was able to play it without any trouble I just enabled 3D in games options however this doesn't work with Arkham Asylum. I'm no expert but if I got it right, it's about the games nature. I was just looking over Nvidia 3D Play but is it just a software or do I have to purchase a 3D Vision Kit or any other hardware part? Well I as my previous post implies that my only HDMI port is connected to my Integrated Graphics Card. Is there anything I can do about it? Will a VGA input work should I give it a try? Or any other workround? And no I do not use Vista, I have Wİndows 8.1. Thanks for your help.

Yes, unfortunately there are no connections routed off of the Nvidia GPU. There's not a lot of games with native support. Trine 1 and 2 both have it. So you might try TriDef for other games and also check to see if your Samsung supports pixel format. If it does, you could use the checkerboard format via TriDef.

3DTV Play isn't software, so to say. It's a product key to unlock Nvidia's stereoscopic drivers. 3DTV Play works with HDMI 1.4 compliant 3D HDTVs/Projectors and requires that the display manufacturers glasses are used. But yah, you have no options to use Nvidias stereoscopic drivers. In your pic there wasn't even a VGA connection on the Nvidia GPU. EDIT: I just reinstalled Arkham from another drive, I mistakenly thought it had native 3D. It indeed only has a 3D Vision option in-game.

I don't have VGA in screenshot because it wasn't connected. I also did not have HDMI there untill I connected it. Sorry but I did not understand this pixel format thing. Can you explain it for a dummy? How can I check if I can use it? Sorry I disturbed you with too many questions but a little bit information about this could be really helpful. :)

I'm pretty sure that the Nvidia connections show up regardless if they are being used. What model is your Samsung? Some Samsungs support checkerboard, but call it pixel format. You'll need to look in your owner's manual.

I tried using TriDef 3D but it didn't work or maybe I couldn't configure it correctly. I'm still trying things out we'll see if it works. It's Samsung UE40D6500VS. I'm really thankful for all your help I'll check TV's manual for that. Furthermore, I discovered that my TV has a feature to turn 2D display into 3D. It doesn't have an awesome quality but I guess I can live with it. Again thanks for your reply. :)
