Helix Lua Scripts
  2 / 2
The shaders fixed by the Lua Script are not stored in the HDD...there are fixed on the fly. I suppose helix stored in memory. The shaders present in the ShaderOverride folder are fixed by hand. Also dump folder have nothing to do with the Lua script. You can try "War for Cybertron" using the ini, dll and lua file from "Papo & Yo". If that doesn't work, exit the game, change ONLY the lua file for the ones in the ZIP i post (one by one) and start the game. You need to exit the game for every lua file you use...F10 don't reload the lua script.

Thanks for the reply. Now that I've seen the log file generated with a luascript that is working, I'll be able to verify if any of the available LuaScripts actually work with TWFC. I also verified that the LuaScript worked in Papo y Yo with the March 2, 2014 helix debugger that I was using in TWFC. So I'll give TWFC a try after awhile or tomorrow morning.

No luck using the LuaScript in TWFC. I'll post the edited Coalesced.ini with Dynamic Shadows turned off and call it a day on this game. Anyone that plays Home Front, might want to try these LuaScripts. Hmm, looks like Homefront Revolution is CryEngine and the updated version of the previous game, which is no longer available. edit: btw, the reason I wanted to know about the LuaScript in the first place, I was hoping that it would work on Survival Instinct. But it uses the Infernal Engine and is a mess. I had recently caught up on The Walking Dead episodes and wanted to kill walkers with Daryll

Hmm, looking at the fix for Castlevania Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition, I do not see Mike_ar69 use DefPSSampler = 14 in his DX9Settings.ini. His Shareroverride folder only has a single vertex shader in it. So the LuaScript must be working. [General] CalcTexCRCatUpdate=true UseExtInterfaceOnly=true GetCurDirAtLoad=true DefDepthStencilSurfaceMode=2 SurfaceCreationModeList = 0;1; DefSquareSurfaceMode=2 DefPSViewSizeConst=210 InitMouse=false PresetsKeysList = 0;1; //DefModuleName=CastlevaniaLoSUE.exe UseRenderedShaders=true I'm guessing that this game must use UE3 as well, though I can't find the Engine listed.

Since you are looking at the Lua script, you might want to PM eqzitara to get details. He was the absolute master of using the Lua script to fix games, and might have insight on different versions of HelixMod or game variants.

There are not any other games that I have that are UE3 and are not fixed. After messing with this game too long yesterday, the shitty camera and FOV caused me to puke from motion sickness. I tried editing the FOV and camera in the ini, but without any success. So I'm done messing with TWFC. As it is, it will be a few days before I recover and can play anything.
