I can't sleep at night I'm italiand and i can't have it
I'm interested in real 3D videogaming since the nineties, when I was younger and I played more. Now I'm 28, i work as a programmer and I can afford it.

BUT I CAN'T

In fact nVidia 3d Vision is still not commercialized in Europe, AFAIK.

I would probably buy it immediately.

Can someone tell me when will it be sold in Italy / Europe?

Thank you !

Well, it is still frustrating to wait and hear you talking about it :)

Just another question to 3d vision owners, then i promise i'll wait till EMEAI release. :'(

I got an idea of the 3d effect watching screenshots and also video like this in which you had to "cross view" to figure out the effect. It is not immediate, and a bit headache-taking, but is the effect similar/comparable with the one of nVidia glasses and time multiplexing ?

And also, Is it something comparable to the cinema 3d effect? I mean the one made with newly installed rooms and cheap polarizing glasses...

Thank you for your patience

On one hand I'm happy we don't have it in Europe yet (UK here), just because I know when it does come out, alot of the initial issues, profiles and drivers will all have already been worked through and we'll initially recieve a more polished product than exists now, however... I want it now!!!

I would laugh too if you're putting them on before you even have a screen to use them with.. :)

Hi Shine007,

I received my 3d glasses and 120hz samsung few days ago and been playing for long periods of time almost each night (2-5 hours) so I hope to shed some light on the differences. I only experienced ghosting while the monitor is not warmed up, but no headaches whatsoever. I start at low depth then gradually increase to maximum depth so my eyes are more comfortable and not stressed right away. In my opinion the maximum depth 3D effect is much better than 3d CGI movies like Beowulf (which I seen in the theater in 3D, three times) and much much better than 3D films like My Bloody Valentine 3D. Especially when the action is up close and the game has a naturally darker setting... ie: Zombies swarming at your face throught the woods at night in Left4Dead.

Again, I play at max depth setting. I have objects comming out at me so much that i sometimes freak out... the first night I played Left 4 Dead, I dropped my cigarette in my lap. I was killing a swarm of zombies behind my group of friends, while they were killing a big zombie special infected (called Tank) that can throw huge rocks at you from far away. Two of my friends died when I finally had time to turn around and help. Thats when I seen a huge rock that the Tank threw flying at me. It looked like it was a foot out of my monitor and two inches from my face. It made me jump out of my seat, drop my cigarette, and almost knock over my beer. After I collected myself, I felt sheepish. But moments like that make the $600 investment into 3D gaming worth it, at least for me. Nvidia's 3d solution has me replaying all my old games and its a whole new experience.

Hope I helped you picture what to expect. And once you end up playing... settle for nothing less but max depth setting. Your eyes will handle it, your nerves might not.
