Stereo Support for Maya 2009 Using Windows 7 x64 and a Quadro 4800
I know topics like this have been posted before, but even after following the instructions that people have used I am still having issues getting Active stereo support in my Maya viewport. The system works fine with the Directx full screen support and actually operates successfully in a window using the 3dtv Stereographic player in quad-buffered opengl mode using the emitter in tandem with the FX4800's 3 pin stereo port. But when I try to go into maya and set up a stereo camera, the active option is grayed out. I'm not sure if this is some kind of driver issue or what; I've tried several different versions. I have also tried using Maya 2011 with no luck. Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

My setup:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Nvidia Quadro FX4800
Nvidia 3d vision kit
Acer GD235HZ 120hz monitor
Display Driver: 197.59
Quadro 3d vision driver: 197.03

3d settings:
Enable overlay: On
Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration: Single display performance
Stereo - Display mode: On-board DIN connector (with NVIDIA IR emitter)
Stereo - Enable: On
Triple Buffering: On
Vertical sync: Force On

Ok, well it appeared that uninstalling and reinstalling maya fixed it for me. I am now experiencing 3D in all it's tri-dimensional glory!
