Original Max Payne 3 profile actually uses AFR 2 Mode. If setting this on GTA V profile will fix text problem then why not using it. I`ve changed it and i have no text issues and same performance as with MP3 profile.

Out of curiosity, I rolled back to my goto driver of 320.49 to try the game. Game runs nearly flawless like usual, no text glitch and grass drawing correctly are the most noticeable differences. SLI works fine, but overall performance is nearly identical to 350.12. So, no real advantage or disadvantage to the old driver, unless you gotta have those plants. I was specifically looking to see if it fixed that one-eye plant problem, and it does.

Great find bo3b! I'll update the first post soon, I'll just test some of the stuff in here out for myself before I do. To save me skimming 22 pages for additional issues I might have missed, could anyone who's been reading more closely give a brief listing of any additional issues or fixes discovered? I know about the performance and 2D switching, and it sounds like with 320.49, the MP3 profile might not matter? Unfortunately I don't think there would be a way to use that driver on newer cards, right?

actually after rolling back from 350.12 to many of them the game works absolutely fine, i tried 337, 332, 347 - all are ok
p.s. bo3b, so u say it is impossible to change convergence for weapons in first person view separately ?

Having the 3D breaks in like 15 minutes or so all the time :( Did many DDU's, tried with 347.52 & 350.12 (current) Specs i7 4790k GTX 980 Asus Strix OC 10 gigs of ram Win 7 When I started the game everything was cool, but ever since the Jewel heist, the 3D breaks constantly, making me to restart the game, after finishing the mission in 2D ofcourse.... No tips for that yet? I restored all graphics to default - no help , disabling vsync / in NCP & ingame no effect, prefer maximum performance, virtual pre rendered frames 2 , no help.

prefer maximum performance - crashing the game for me, dont change it

Weird I tried 320.49 and it just refuses to detect my system as being SLI capable at all even though it detects both cards. (GTX 780) As soon as I roll to any other driver it works again. Anyone else had this problem?

Similar to the effect that DHR achieved with Dying Light. It's a little weird because it's deliberately making the arms no longer draw in the correct 3D world, and I'd expect glitches like hitting someone not actually looking like it connects, but it should be doable. This is only a problem because the FOV is artificially low. It sort of works in 2D, but in 3D it makes no sense to have it this narrow. It is made worse by cranking up the convergence.

Didn't realise you were having so many problems, as I haven't experienced any issues with text or grass at all. Visually, the game runs perfectly and stutter-free at just under 40 fps. Accessing a specific .dll causes a crash to the windows desktop, but neither of them occur all that often enough to really spoil things. It's shadows suddenly rendering in 2D, that happens most often. There are times where I've played sessions where there have been no problems at all, others where anomalies occur just a few minutes in. Having stated that I still use an older driver, I was also at pains to point out on my Rockstar ticket that those who have the latest drivers still have the 2D shadow rendering issue occur, if I'm not mistaken. As Rockstar said themselves on their newswire, stating that this game could be played with 3D Vision, then there's at least some hope that they'll issue a patch should enough people actually raise these issues with them directly. I'm speculating as to whether Rockstar would assume that 3D compatibility mode would suffice in relation to 3D vision, which of course would not suffice for me. I do have my current driver on my sig for a reason. It's been rock solidly reliable, and I've instinctively not been tempted to update it for any reason, even for DSR. That's when a number of 3D things started to glitch. Pirate tried the experiment of installing the older 3D Driver and keeping newer regular Driver, and it still glitched, so it's the driver, not the 3D Driver. I just submitted a ticket with Rockstar Support I'm having the same issue as many others here, after anywhere from 5-30 minutes, either the shadows will break, and render at screen depth, or everything will render at screen depth, except for the HUD elements and the glows from headlights. In either case, it crashes shortly afterwards. I've tried everything, changing settings, reinstalling the driver with DDU, changing profiles, nothing seems to help I'm also getting a huge performance hit in 3D, way more than just 2x, closer to 4x. I get about 25-30 FPS on a single 970, and turning settings down doesn't make much of a difference. To contrast, in 2D, with everything but Advanced Graphics at max, I get about 80-100 FPS. Turning things down a bit will push it to 120 even, but once I enable 3D, it drops down to 30 or lower It's very frustrating, because when it is working in 3D, it looks amazing EDIT: Ctrl-T off/on will sometimes make it go from everything in 2D to only shadows in 2D. Alt-Enter sometimes actually fixes 3D, but its very rare, and even then it will still crash a minute later

@bo3b Tried using ctrl-t but to no effect. Also changed to AFR 2 in the original GTA V profile, but that effected the graphics badly. That method might work better for DX10.1, but I'm happy with the increased number of graphical options available that running in DX11.0 provides.

i dont really know whether it fixes the grass, since i set grass on normal, and have no a single bug with it. (gtx670sli)
