What's the most up to date mobile graphic card working with 3d Vision?
I'm thinking on getting a new laptop and I would like for it to be 3d Vision compatible. However lately geforce laptops have optimus graphic cards that are known for having issues with 3d vision, so any suggestions about what laptop should I get?

I recently got a new laptop myself and at the time (3 months ago) the 780m was the highest available, but iirc nvidia just announced the 800m series but I haven't seen any models that ship with them yet. As for the optimus problem, yes most laptops have the hdmi port wired internally to the intel card and won't work for 3d vision but the higher end models that would have a 780m or 880m usually have the intel graphics disabled and therefore don't use optimus and the hdmi port is connected to the nvidia board. Are you looking to get a 3d lcd in the laptop itself? or just use it with an external 3d vision display or 3dtv play?

Thanks, I'll check that out. 3D LCD would be great, but external 3d vision would be good enough. Anything cheaper than 780m by the way?

There are models that come with 770m, 760m... but in my experience, best to go all out as with laptops you can't easily change out the video card for a new model later, and if you want to do 3d vision you should aim for the most powerful card available if you want it to last you the life of the laptop and not be obsolete in a year. Also keep in mind that nvidia's mobile GPUs aren't equal to their desktop counterparts, ie: my 780m is closer in spec to a high end 600 series desktop card than the desktop 780. As for whether to get a 3D LCD model, I'll tell you that from what I've seen the models with a 3d vision panel (and built in emitter) are more likely to have the HDMI output wired to the nvidia card. This important because you will not be able to trigger 3d vision (or 3dtvplay) on a model with the HDMI connected to the Intel chip (at least not easily, I've heard some success stories of people disabling the onboard in the bios but not every model has this, mine doesn't even recognize anything other than the nvidia). This new laptop of mine (if you can call it that, it's the new Alienware 17 and it's a tank) has a 3D panel and so did my last laptop (an Asus G51JX3DE one of the first 3d vision laptops, with a 360m) and so will every laptop I buy in the future, because I love it so much. Many people choose to go for the 3d panel who have no intention of even using 3d, just to get the 120hz in 2d 'cuz it looks better and brighter. Ultimately, of you want to be able to output to a 3d display you can use any 4,5,6,7, or 860m (most high end cards can use the HDMI) but I'd not go lower than a x60m and of course for 3d the faster cards make a huge difference. I'd look at the 3d models from Asus, MSI, and of course Alienware for starters and get a feel for what's available, as none of these options are cheap, but well worth the investment if you ask me.
