Lord of The Rings Battle For Middle Earth II Green Screen The screen becomes green when we start 3D
Hello, I'm having issues with Lord of the Rings Battle For Middle Earth II, marked as "Excellent" in 3D compatibility list.
If you enable stereo, the 3D render with a green color.
The 2D buttons and menus still right, and all other games don't have this issue.
If we start to decrease convergence until it overloads, it will put the green "boxes" out of the screen, but in this level of parallax the 3D illusion is broken, with the stereo renders too far in depth of screen, with a parallel effect.
And here is the normal game with stereo off:

Here's is my specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium x64
NVIDIA GeForce 285 GTX
2 x 2.26 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
14 GB 1066 RAM
GeForce Driver Windows 7 64-bit v260.99
3D Vision driver for GeForce Windows 7 64-bit v260.99
Samsung 3D Vision Ready SyncMaster 2233RZ Display
Another question is what is the difference about "Lord of the Rings - Battle for Middle-earth 2" marked as "Good" and "Lord of the Rings Battle For Middle Earth II" marked as "Excellent" in 3D Vision game list? I'm missing something?

I had the same problem, but solved it. Its's the third option in the "Graphics Option" Menu (VFX DETAILS - in the german menu - might have a different name in the english one). The second value is okay, but the third is "too high" for the program, so the result is the green screen. Have a look at my graphic options in the attached screenshot.

Hi! Thx so much for the tip. It really works for now! /happy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
But this is just a workaround, and I think it is a driver bug, a fix would be nice. I read that some other games have this issue too, like Silent Hunter series. It's not fair to have to disable the quality with a powerful machine, and menus and some animations are disabled too with this level of details. /crying.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':'(' /> The curious thing is that in the expansion of this game "The Rise of the Witch-King", we don't have this issue with full quality.
Oh yeah, and I really want to know why we have two names for the same game on list with different ratings. That is really odd. /blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Anyway, for now this is a helpful solution, but I hope NVidia solve it.

I tried playing this game and I got odd results. When I booted it up I got the green screen as well, I checked my other games immediately and they were also off color. I checked my nvidia 3d control panel and it had switched from 3D DLP to 3D Discover. Weird. Why? How?
Regardless the game did not run in 3D after some minor troubleshooting. It also doesn't support custom resolutions, I just get a bluescreen. I don't recommend it.

Regardless the game did not run in 3D after some minor troubleshooting. It also doesn't support custom resolutions, I just get a bluescreen. I don't recommend it.
