Anyone get this message ever? -- Warning: attempt to run stereoscopic 3d in non stereo display mode,
I am using a projector after having swapped from my monitor 3d use. 3d is working fine now but i keep getting the following mesaage in red which stays on my screen

" Warning: attempt to run stereoscopic 3d in non stereo display mode, please change to acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable 3d modes"

Any idea how to remove this error?

YES. Bad company 2 did that to me the just the other night. Resetting the game fixed the problem. Was strange though. Not only did I have that red error on screen, the double image on screen appeared to be grainy...

it is very easy.... just change the resolution from the game menue to fit what your projector can handle ....

This is not always right, I used the right resolution and got the red message in every single game I tried. 3D worked fine but the Warning message was always present.

It something to do with Nvidias messy drivers, I don't know what to install anymore

Its an EDID problem for sure tho. You didn't see true 3d until now because its applying some stuff that gives lot of ghosting (green).

Tritosine ( and anyone else) , pleAse take a look at my other thread at the top of this forum about just getting a projector and problems i've had. Everything is well described there and tritosine, I think from what i have read with other posts here that you are "tied" to much of the EDID changes I've made there and you would COMPLETELY follow what has Been happening to me while also understanding what projector etc I'm using.

thanks

How long is the cable you are using? It is possible you may need to use a repeater that acts as an amplifier. This can happen when the cable is too long and the signal is corrupted.

If your the same guy why in hell you crosspost everywhere?
Ok, ive been doing this for a while, and from what I get, you can get damaged edid on these pj -s very easily.

My latest tweak against this red text is using overriden EDID, then deleting all the inf files and revert to generic non-pnp driver. This makes it work. However , its hard , haha.

Maybe someone with remote acess to your windows can do it . But your best bet is to return the pj. Im only using it because I hope these tweaking hours will be free when the replace the pj i get new bulb too.

Ok well vie already overriden edid and used the driver that allows 3d vision to work on this projector. Now all i need to do is delete the inf Klee and revert to generic non-pnp driver right? If I'm this far, can't I do what you've done as well for e last steps?
