Can someone with G-sync comment on the 3D improvement, if any?

I'm hoping that G-sync either eliminates or greatly reduces pixel inversion artifacts https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/566852/asus-vg248qe-vg278he-amp-hr-benq-xl270t-checkerboard-pattern-in-3d-mode-no-fullhd-per-frame-/ . If it does, I'm picking up a unit asap. If it doesn't I will cross my fingers that the 27" 120hz 1440p monitor from ASUS is 3D and eventually pick it up. Has anyone here had a chance to experiment with G-sync yet? I'd love to hear what the befoe and after differences are.
I am getting one as soon as possible. Mostly because of new screen matrix and that variable sync. Remember that checkboard issue was experienced by only few of us and not all monitors have it. This time it`s compleatly new screen - looking at new Asus and compering it to what i got. They had to change technology.

I believe you can already experience the artifact free visual fidelity by enabling V-sync. V-sync just fails hard because of stuttering (when fps runs low) and V-sync input lag (happens all the time).

I myself have gone through 2 ASUS VG278H's, a BenQ XL XL2720T, a BenQ XL2420TE, and a VG248QE. All models had the checkerboard in 3D, some more than others. None had artifacts in 2D mode, just 3D. I kept the VG248QE. Vsync has no impact on the checkerboard artifacts.
That said, I'm hoping to get feedback from someone upgrading a VG248QE with the G-sync DIY kit. Hopefully it gets rid of the artifacts. Nvidia states that G-Sync provides a superior 3D experience but I can't find any documentation of what exactly the improvements are.

I read somewhere that it's true - it turns it off but Nvidia will fix that (I HOPE SOON!) What I am waiting for is [b]1440P 3D[/b] monitor with [b]G-Sync[/b] from Asus. 1080p is already a last last century technology - no ty! Has anyone heard about any news for that kind of monitor?

^ yeah I was disappointed that the 1440p RoG Swift Asus monitor coming out soon is 120Hz
Just seems like a step back from the 144Hz one they have out now

Well when you look at it, most of the 1080p monitors were actually 144Hz and the 1440p were 60Hz. So, now the 1440p will be 120Hz and later on, maybe will be 144Hz. However I really can't wait for Asus to make another 3D approach to a higher resolution monitor!
And for the 4K 3D one, I don't think it's gonna be in the summer 2015 - when you look carefully at the performance for the [b]2560x1440p[/b] one - since its double rendering you will need about 7.3 Million Pixels per frame [b][7'372'800 to be exact][/b], so that means, [b]1/2 FPS[/b] of a game on max settings at [b]2D on 1440p[/b] (look at benchmarks and divide each by 2). So ACIV Black Flag is around 35-40FPS with one GTX 780Ti on 1440p resolution - when you switch 3D vision on, the frames drop 50%. Remember that you need 30FPS minimum for G-Sync to work properly.
What will be on 4K [b]3840 x 2160p[/b] if you are interested - [b]without 3D vision[/b] is [b][8'294'400 pixels total per frame][/b] which is [b]more[/b] than [b]3D vision on a 1440p monitor[/b]. So I'm still interested in hearing from someone who has tried 3D before and after the DIY kit was installed. I'm concerned about pixel inversion artifacts, which seem to exist on all lightboost 3d monitors, and if Gsync takes care of them.
