For the last time = 3D Vision does NOT work in Youtube 3D videos. Why?
All:

I'm getting to the point of total frustration. I've tried everything to get Youtube videos to work with my 3D Vision glasses and I can NOT get this to work! The movies all show double screens when playing them back in either Window or Full Screen. What player is YouTube using to playback the videos?? Evidently the nvidia drivers don't know that it's in playback mode and should enable 3D. I can only get them to work if I download them and put them in the 3D Vision player.

HELP!!

Youtube uses flash. The newest version of flash out is 10.2, which was released a few weeks ago.

I read before (almost half a year ago) that 10.2 was supposed to allow hardware-accelerated 3D (and therefore, viewing youtube with 3D vision). I've also heard though that 3D compatibility has been pushed back till flash 11.

Anyone know?

They are working on adding stereo 3D support for Flash, when that happens we should be able to watch YouTube 3D videos directly in the browser like we can at the moment with the videos using Silverlight on 3DVisionLive. I've seen an early working beta at an Nvidia demonstration a quite a while ago, so they should have been ready by now... probably Adobe is delaying the release to add additional features in the new release, besides S3D support. But we should be seeing it in the next major release... hopefully.

Iz3d added youtube 3d compability some time ago. However it broke when youtube made an "update". Youtube needs to be aware of 3d-vision or similar 3d-drivers to make it compatible even through updates.

It's not that convenient, but you can download the 3D videos using keepvid.com

Agreed. Use site like keepvid to download video to hard drive and playback video file in 3D enabled viewer.

This makes sense then. Thanks for this.

Why does 3Dizzy.com post up videos that can not be viewed in 3D unless you download it? He makes it seem like we can all view them in a window.
