The new drivers killed my stereo! 258.96-Quadro-winxp-64bit-english-whql.exe & Quadro_3D_Vis
I need some guidance with reinstating my older drivers:
I installed these new quadro and 3D vision usb drivers for Win XPx64 thinking I would see some improvement for use with my quad buffered openGL software. They killed everything. This is bad, I now have a black screen where I can't even see the cursor within the extents of the stereo window. I made sure to check in the control panel for new options, but nothing has fixed it. Lots of freezing and restarting...not happy.
Anyways, I have tried reverting back to the older drivers that were working beautifully and now there are major ghosting issues when I enable stereo. I am kicking myself because I had everything working great. I should have just stayed with the older drivers.
Should I do a clean reinstall of the video drivers? how?

Don't talk a crap (sorry for my english).
yesterday I installed/uninstalled drivers 258.96 (throught Control Panel too), remove all programs such Rivatuner and nTune, danced with a tambourine, etc...
And I still watched the slideshow...
ONLY roll back to old drivers 257.21 has helped me. After install drivers I install Rivatuner and everything was as before installation 258.96.
Conclusion: Drivers 258.96 - piece of crap.
P.S.: Windows 7 x64, ASUS EN8800GTS 320MB, Intel Core I7 920 @ 3.2GHz

Im using the 258 drivers and it all works great for me, also put the new CD drivers on as well, apart from having to go through the 3D setup again, nothing is different.

I have reverted back to the drivers from April by completely uninstalling and reinstalling all Nvidia apps and drivers. The April 2010 drivers are the only set that eliminate the gjosting on my samsung 2233RZ. go figure.
