I still seem to get severe ghosting which causes wierd black shadow artifacts. This was my main problem with the default 3D. This severe ghosting (don't have it on any other game and its not present in CM mode) makes it unplayable for me. I checked the log and it suggests 3Dmigoto is firing up fine. This was nords with the ruf gt3 (favorite car), bonnet view. Driver is 347.52 default profile.

Hi, I found out tonight that it depends what quality settings you have, as there are different shaders. There are also different shaders for different tracks. Just let me track it all down, it will take some time. I'll put something out next week.
**EDIT I also discovered that sometimes the game starts looking broken, but then Alt-Tab out and back in loads the shaders properly.

No worries Mike. Really think you're brave taking this renderer on. Just wasn't sure if I cocked something up. Good luck... But most importantly... Have fun. :)

Outstanding work Mike!
Thanx a lot!
p.s. just forgot one question
Do I have to use default pCars 3dVision profile with your fix?
hmm.. the first alpha just froze my game when trying to activate 3D, now with alpha 2 the 3D activate but then game freezes shortly after, just curious as you said that different gfx quality and resolutions created different shaders.
Also ive checked the game directory and its created a 3.05mb shader cach folder. alough the game freezes the music continues to play without any issue..
im playing in ultra setting at dsr 4k, if that helps

Best to do some experimentation. It's working for Mike and Ron, so something is up with your system.
Maybe try starting smaller, like 1080p. Similar hardware. Also try different settings. That's what we mean by alpha- it's going to require some jacking around, and will have bugs.

Pretty sure that Mike is running 350.12, and using the pCars profile. Again, please experiment. Let us know what you find out, and we all benefit.

ok with those commands enabled the game loaded very slow motion, on title screen etc never seen game do that, after hitting Ctrl+alt+home 4 or 5 times it finally enable 3d without freezing, but still was extremely slow.. upon closing it down to get the log file, it is over 180mb large.. im assuming the slowness was due to it writing to the log file, but why such a size...
