Thanks! Do you think this will work with steam version? I think its the enhanced edition. I tried your WIP and could not make it work. I saw few reports that using cracked executable would make it work but i didnt get around to try it. Also the download is reporting Risen2-3d-fix. Just a typo or did you by accident link risen 2 fix?

I think it's the same as the 64 bit enhanced version and should work. If there are any interoperability problems between Steam and Helixmod they are outside the scope of the fix. It should now download the correct file.

It is a pity not to be able to enjoy this game, I skept playing this tittle just becuase the lack of 3D Compatibility, and I was now again giving another oportunity.

I have used this aplication before with success..., if I am not mistaken I remember using with The Witcher 3 (old patches). The problem is not the profile manager, the problem seems to be the program "Risen 3 ENHANCED EDITION", because the fix does nothing here.

I have the same "Risen 3 ENHANCED EDITION" version and all works well. Did You deleted nvdrssel.bin in export and import ?

I can see the "use Helixmod x64" when the game starts, so it is a signal that the export/import has been made (of course I have deleted "nvdrssel.bin" twice, before export and before import). I have made the same operation two times and the fix seems to do nothing here, broken shadows, etc. Using 378.66 whql driver. And of course the dll, ini, and shaderoverdrive folder are in system folder as always with the .exe

Now it works perfect. It seems previously didn't because some weird reason (I did nothing and now it works). Ok, I discovered the "weird reason". It was the shortcut icon created to execute the game. No problem if I create a new one (or execute directly the "Risen3.exe", that what I did the last time). Windows apparently treated the previous shortcut (even refered to the same "Risen3.exe" file) as another application/process, and everything was wrong and convergence was different too (like not using the Profile Manager modification). Thanks for the great fix.

Try re-installing the drivers using DDU, this fixed it on W7 when I had the same issue once. Also make sure that you delete the bin file first as reported in this guide https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/791450/3d-vision/guide-how-to-enable-and-tweak-3d-compatibility-mode-in-any-dx11-game/ Since you are a first time poster, be sure to check out http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html Edit: I see that OP mentions deleting the nvdrssel.bin file :)

Thanks for the answer, I will try it out again with the DDU. I'm using 3DVision for years now with all the mods and also via Helixmod, so I am quite used to it, that's because I didn't need to post in the forum before :-D Of course I deleted the nvdrssel.bin first. I'm gonna let you know if that worked. Would it be possible to do this with the inspector instead with the profile manager? Working, everything fine, Thanks for modding! Again, I applied the latest driver. This time it worked, no more error message from the Profile Manager.
