Not if they considered this issue of a high priority... they do not as it only effects a minority of customers... Funny thing is it's the most devoted and well off customers Nvidia have as it's not cheap to get 3D Vision.
Problem we have is there is so many issues with everything and it's all left up to some pencil pusher being alerted properly to issues and the seriousness of issues. If down the line they did not bother testing 3D Vision properly at any point in the development then you have your answer there about what the developer think about being 3D Vision ready.
But then you can look at it in another light, I would assume Nvidia paid a sum of money to get that "The Way Its Meant To Be Played" logo on to that game. So does Nvidia really put much salt in to 3D Vision if their not even willing to fight the developer to get things moving in a timely fashion for it's customers that have made a huge investment in their hardware.

i am surprised no one has sued their ass yet. A game with 3d vision ready on its logo, something must be done. If a fix came out like 3 days after release,it would have made sense. This is just downright ridiculous.

Hey guys. I've been browsing all these pages and it is quite time consuming so let me get to the point.
Obviously there are some problems it seems with 3dVision in the witcher 2.
I'M CONSIDERING BUYING THE WITCHER 2 TODAY. DOES IT WORK WELL AT ALL IN 3D VISION? IF I TURN IT OFF INDOORS is the game enjoyable? Are there any "work arounds" by the community or is there ANYONE who is getting lucky and it just works fine in 3d vision?

Even with all the problems it was the best game I've played in years, and I'm beyond sad that I've finished it. I'm already planning on re-playing it with mods that make it more difficult.
As for the 3D problems, with the latest nvidia driver you can disable stereo3d in the control panel then restart the game when you get to the broken-spots, then when you get back outside you can save & quit, enable stereo, then relaunch the game and play in 3D. Note that I'm not saying just pressing ctrl+t to enable/disable, but actually disable in the control panel. (In the older driver even doing this would still not work, you had to actually uninstall 3D Vision driver, that's why in the first pages of this thread people were saying that)

It's not like it's a game-breaking bug. Most of the game isn't affected and you are mostly talking or doing small tasks/quests in the parts that are.
Yes, its annoying when it does happen and needs to be fixed asap but I don't think it's any reason not to play it and enjoy it in 3D, it really is excellent in 3D (apart from this bug and a great game too.

Man i was on week vecation. Thought this would be fixed when getting home, this is just pathetic , should it really take this long to fix?!

Thanks and please advise.

As for a work around, the only thing you can do is turn it off
To give an idea, in the first chapters tavern I get 14fps with 3D turned on, with it disabled I get 88fps...
