Cool, thanks for that update.
I've been using BSE to good effect, it's dramatically easier to find a wonky shader. And giving me more enthusiasm to learn more about fixes. Waiting for shaders to show up with the cycling method was too time consuming for me. Thanks.
One feature request- Is it possible to have AHK send the F10 key as well? When I hit y/n/u, it would be nice if it could sift the next combo, hit F10 for me, then beep to let me know it's ready for a new look.

That was actually something I had thought about before but didn't know enough at the time to pull it off, way before I was using the AHK script to send the keystrokes, ... the good news is I figured a way to do it, it'll take a separate AHK script that when called will send the single keystroke, I already had it working in The Ball ... the bad news is when the AHK scripts are compiled they get a lot larger in size, if AHK is installed it's only a 1k script but if I have to compile it, it winds up being a 1152k file ... unless I can think of something else, that's going to wind up being over 2MB of AHK scripts ... I'll keep at it, I definitely like pressing the key and it automatically refreshing the screen when it's done.
edit: looking into using a vbs script instead, [s]I think[/s] it looks like it'll work and it's only 1k :) ... I'll have to try it out in-game later ... Oh and thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated! :D
Updated: Added the new AHK script and added the auto refresh after it switches lots and at the found menu when you toggle enabled/disabled (Ctrl+Shift+E) ... thanks again for the feedback bo3b! :)

Wow! Works like a champ!
Anybody who is doing shader hunting should definitely use this.
I took a look last night, and the fix for UAC works as desired, and the addition of the auto-F10 really speeds things up.
I was looking for a vertex shader in 5400 or so shaders in the game, and found it in about 20 seconds.
BSE even has an option to directly open the found shader in Notepad, so I could experiment on it.
(Now fixing the shader, hmmm.... more than 20s)
