Shield and error message "attempt to run stereoscopic 3d in a non-stereo display mode..."
I have disabled 3D when I received my Nvidia Shield (3 weeks ago). Now I've enabled 3D in Nvidia control panel. 3D self-test works but every game I'm trying give me the red error message : "attempt to run stereoscopic 3d in a non-stereo display mode..." I can't get it to work again. What's wrong ?

Perhaps you are using the wrong resolution and/or refresh rate?

Yea 3D wont activate if you have certain resolutions set, on mine if I set the resolution to something screwy it displays the two images but the emitter doesn't activate and the screen doesn't go into 3D mode. Also if you are running in portrait mode or upside down or something that would be why.

When I read your comments I realized I've changed the resolution of many games (non-Steam games) from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 for the Shield. It seams like 1280x720 isn't supported in 3D. You got it ! (I feel stupid) Thanks for your help...
