and Y2k for the most part was a big scam. Yeah there were some outlying systems that needed updating and attention but for the most part it was scaremongering for the obvious reason...

Also if you missed this, 1903 will give improved performance. but we need to wait for updated chipset drivers. Again you miss the big picture, updated files are more secured files. and we surely have no idea how the OS works, but we do know you need to stay ahead, or you will have security flaws. if you don't care about your security you don't have to update mobo firmware, nore windows update, hell, don't even use Antivirus, but remember that you will be in danger zone all the time. I care about my data, so I keep ahead with Macrium Image for the OS. if anything happen I will lose maybe 10-20 days of data, which not much because almost everything is sync eventually. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XMWS0_9gNo

None of it will help against zero-day vulnerabilities and people doing stupid things. The only things that can help here are precautions and knowing what you're doing. Security is always relative.

Thanks Losti. You made a combination of Oculus Rift S supported by latest driver and 3D vision movies possible. Hopefully Nvidia doesn't remove the legacy code support anytime soon.

Amazing! I had a similar idea, but couldn't get around installing the Pyramid drivers on the newer drivers. Your solution works perfectly. Working for me on Windows 10 build 1809 using drivers 438.86 with a GTX1060 6GB.

Спасибо, Losti. 3D Vision заработала на новых драйверах. Но, многие игры после обновления не работают в 3D, вылетают на рабочий стол, например: Path of Exile Underworld Ascendant The Bard's Tale IV Windows 10 Pro 1903 SLI 1080Ti Переделано по Вашей инструкции с 425.62 на 430.86 Подскажите, будет ли решение проблемы, если это возможно. zig11727 Thanks for the information. I don't really want to roll back to 1809, but if there is no decision on 1903, we will have to. Again, thank you.

The beta versions of 3Dfixmanager to update the drivers worked perfectly fine for me on 1803. How long this will last is anyone guess, but I will cross fingers

I've upgraded my older win 7 system with a 1070. The fix mgr driver update worked flawlessly on that. I may try the update on my 2700x 1080ti soon. Edit: OK that didn;'t go as well as I thought on my win 7 machine. tried the "test stereoscopic 3D" in the NV control panel, all went OK, I exited the test and walked away for a few minutes. When I came back, I had a BSOD with an NV driver failure error. On restart after that, the screen would just freeze. Had to roll back to 435.31 on Win 7 build and all is well.
