[Solved] Does anyone else get Green Screen on YouTube when video is full screen with 3D Vision enabl...
It happens in Windows 10.
I have seen one other person mention it.
Aside from disabling hardware acceleration in the browser or toggling 3D Vision to off, does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Thanks!
is it just a green screen in the video or your entire screen?? I have Projectors and when I have 3D vision on in them and they goto a resolution not the native one I get a Green screen but it is the entire screen and I just turn off 3D vision in the Projector menu..
If that is not your Problem sorry I cant be of any other help??

Have you tried resetting some of the options like the "3D mode always enabled" from the Advanced tab in http://helixmod.blogspot.ro/2015/10/advanced-3d-vision-configuration.html ?
Had the same problem every time I was in fullscreen on YT, 3D vision would kick in until I tried resetting some options but I don't remember getting any Green Screens that is...

Thanks for the replies.
Kaimastah, you were correct about "3D mode always enabled". It is no longer an option in my 3D Vision control panel, but is set to "Default Always On" in one of my scripts. This is probably the reason that only I was having this problem.
The workaround is to disable Stereo Always Toggled On by default.
The reg key is:
StereoDefaultOn = 0
under:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D
I believe that by default it might be 0.
I had set it as 1 in my 3D Vision script from Windows 7 days which caused no issues until the Win 10 "upgrade".
All fixed; thanks for your input.

It was me that was having this problem. As I run three screens the solution was just to take focus off the main one with another browser window that wasn't in full screen.
But I will try this as well. I fresh installed windows 10 so it can't be an upgrade issue.

By default StereoDefaultOn is set to 1/On, I like it that way... personally I'd rather toggle 3D Off if I need to than On every single time I run something 3D but that's just me...
You can also set the StereoDefaultOn flag to 0 in the Profile of whatever browser/game you're using... or if you want to completely disable 3D you can set the StereoNotSupported flag to 1.

Thanks for the suggestion TsaebehT.
I had completely forgotten about the hidden stereo flags that you can find in nVidia Inspector if you click on the "Show unknown settings" button. Setting StereoNotSupported is much better than any other workaround. I'm using Chrome.

In case anyone is wondering where to find this, here it is in the documentation spot we are using:

It's worth noting that this is not in NVidia Inspector, even using the CustomSettingsNames.
I'm using DarkStarSword's updated CustomSettingNames_en-EN.xml with nvidiaProfileInspector, just save it to nPI's directory and rename it to CustomSettingNames.xml... works like a charm :)

Well I did find that StereoNotSupported flag in nVidia Inspector after enabling "Show unknown settings".
Does it not have any effect unless I import the CustomSettingNames xml ?

If it's there it might/should work... especially with simple values like 0/1.
DarkStarSword was working with him to get the encrypted values decrypted properly but iirc that was later, after/around the NVIDIA Inspector/nvidiaProfileInspector split...
Not sure which version you're using but none of the versions of nPI that I have show StereoNotSupported unless I'm using the CustomSettingNames.xml, that said if you're using NI(not nPI) then iirc it needs it to be named CustomSettingNames_en-EN.xml, not CustomSettingNames.xml.

I am with you on this one, it's annoying to have to turn 3d on as I almost always want it on when I start a game. I guess I'll try using that profile method
