Gen 1 Glasses Ghosting More?
I'd never noticed this up until now, even though ghosting between the two was actually the first thing I tested when I got my second set. I tested this with white on black ghosting, rather than the usual dark object on lighter background. It seems that the V1 glasses I have ghost more than the V2 pair I have, the difference isn't massive but its undeniable that its there. Oddly (and perhaps why I didn't notice this right away) the ghosting is only worse when your head isn't dead on straight with the thing onscreen you're looking at, e.g. find a ghost, have your head straight on with the middle of the screen, move it to the edge of the screen and its worse. Or do it the other way around, move your head around and leave the camera alone. I think its because on the V1 glasses the lense is right up against your eye, and on the V2 they're recessed into the frame and pushed away from you because of the rubber around the top and bigger nose piece, granting the V2 a better tolerance to ghosting when at an angle. Anyone have both to say if they have the same experiences, or different? I'm aware not all glasses are made equally, so perhaps I just got a bad pair. Only time I've heard about ghosting differences between the two is when people have had broken ones. Thanks.

I use a dlp projector and ghosting/crosstalk is more apparent on it. V1 has a LOT of ghosting. V2 are probably the best 3D glasses I've tried.

Interesting. Its a shame because I find the V1 a bit more comfortable, and don't seem to weigh as much. Probably going to sell them.
