Game works pretty good other than awkward colour choices making for alot of ghosting. Cant seem to get the convergence unlocker to work properly though, never had an issue with it in other games. I set the convergence how I want it, then on saving it immediately returns to the default value. Any ideas?

no, but if you find a solution elsewhere please make sure to post it here for us for when we come to play it. I bet eqzitara knows though.... :-)

If it happened I cant remember it. It doesnt sound too bad though, just dont save it. Not very helpful but it probably only takes 30 seconds everytime you reboot game.

I just took a quick look over the fix and noticed this:
3) Logging of game value writes: If you set Convergence=1 in the ini file, all writes to convergence value from the game are logged into a text file. This allows you to find the values to set in [ConvergenceMap].
and this:
[Logging] Convergence=0 Separation=0
Check your nvapi.ini and make sure that convergence (and separation?) is set to 1, from the sounds of it [s]that's what you need to do for the settings to save[/s] ... maybe ... I hope. Lol. :D edit: Now that I've read it over, it looks like that 'logging' just logs the convergence settings that the game calls for, it's then up to you to convert them in the other [ConvergenceMap] section. Keep in mind that these settings are for L.A. Noire.
[ConvergenceMap] Map1=from 3e99999a to 0.3 ;Map2=from 3ffb4e53 to 2.0 <--(this is the setting that is unlocked by the ;)(and no that's not a winky face) Map2=from 3f800000 to 1.0 Map3=from 3f666666 to 0.9
I'm not sure how you get the value from the settings you want saved, not sure if it logs those as well but I'm pretty sure you uncomment that line, remove the ;, and then change the numerical value, 2.0. Technically if all games worked like this, where they're locked in the right spots, cutscenes, odd closeups, etc., and unlocked in the gameplay parts we'd be better off.

3) Logging of game value writes: If you set Convergence=1 in the ini file, all writes to convergence value from the game are logged into a text file. This allows you to find the values to set in [ConvergenceMap].

and this:

[Logging]
Convergence=0
Separation=0

Check your nvapi.ini and make sure that convergence (and separation?) is set to 1, from the sounds of it that's what you need to do for the settings to save ... maybe ... I hope. Lol. :D

;Map2=from 3ffb4e53 to 2.0 <--(this is the setting that is unlocked by the ;)(and no that's not a winky face)
Map2=from 3f800000 to 1.0
