NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player
Hi

I have probs playing a 3d movie .mkv file. I can see the file fine with windows media player the dual images are there (they are over and under) when I run the Nvidia 3d video player I just get a black screen and it wont play the movie it just locks up and I have to use the task manager to terminate the program.

I can play 3d games fine

My setup is

Nvidia GTX480
Core i7 920
12 Gig ram
Intel SSD drive

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Sorted it

Went into VIEW then SETTINGS Then DECODER then I clicked on each decoder and slected ADD. There were lots of decoders that were not added.

It all works now.

Oh also are there any other 3d players out there? as the NVIDIA one is a bit basic

Thanks

There is another free player you can try, sView. It offers better controls and interface, but it stutters for me in all 3D movies.

4 Years later and still no development, terrible and this is why 3D is doomed

That's why I use Sview to make it work with DLP or 3d Vision glasses for mkv SBS files.
