Got my nvidia 3d setup running and I am really impressed with it all. At the moment I can't stop playing Medieval 2 total war in 3d. Theres not a lot of popout effects except for arrows coming at you but the battle field looks stunning!!! I play with the stainless steel mod with huge armies and it gets really engrossing.
Fallout 3 is great too except for the pip boy, it makes me go cross eyed lol. Any fix for this?

I don't know about 3d vision but Iz3D has a hotkey to disable 3d. Its a handy feature to turn 3d on and off with one key press... no more pip boy puking.

3D-Vision can, too. It's control-T by default. (I switched mine to Scroll Lock, though. Way too many games use the control key for various things.)
Another way to fix it would be to enable the advanced keys and change convergence. Or just move your face further from your monitor. /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Is there game saving in Left 4 Dead? I don't see any user saving, no 'checkpoint save' message and I'm all the way out of the first building. How is saving done and should I have had a save point (checkpoint or manual) by now? When I restarted the game after exit, I had to start over from the beginning.

I believe someone mentioned before Gothic 3 game. With latest Community Patch introducing shaders 3.0 and complete retexturing, the game looks really awesome in 3d. Shadows and even torch lights all render correctly, just go outside and enjoy huge and immersive world. Would not recommend though an archer speciality, as targeting reticle renders in 2d and messes with nVidia one, otherwise do give it a try. Just go outside the starting area, you'd be amazed, visit the cave in first rebel camp etc. I am replaying this game now as a mage and enjoying it tremendously. I'd say its the best 3rd person PRG in 3d now, Gothic 4 is too laggy in 3d (Two worlds 2 - would love to see it in 3d too sometime).

I am currently playing Dead Space 2. Man this game is jumping off the screen! I can not beleive my eyes! Most games that I have played in 3d vision are like sitting in front of a fish tank the size of my monitor. This game does something really weird where my monitor seems to shrink down by about 20 percent and the image jumps out beyond that reduced size, very spectacular. It's seems to be capped at 30 fps but it's so smoooth at 120 hz I can not tell.
Metro 2033 was great too. It ran at 40 to 60 fps but still felt jumpy from time to time.

If you get Gothic 3 then make SURE you get the community patch. Without it, the game is not so good.
To take screenshots in 3D, just press alt-F1. They will be saved to your Documents folder under NVStereoscopic3D.IMG. If you want to change that key combo, check out this article on the 3D Vision Blog.

That's correct - you will need to patch the orginal Gothic 3 first with all official patches (up to version 1.12) and then apply community patch 1.74 (its almost 1Gb and does a lot of nice things to the grapic engine) for the game to look like screenshots I posted. It also runs very smoothly now with decent fps in S-3d. One thing only - its not very good for archer's gameplay as the in-game targeting reticle does not render correctly and I could not find a way to disable it so that only nVidia reticle could be used. But for melee and magic users its awesome (I am playing it as a mage).
You can find all patches Here
P.S. There is a discussion Here stating that Gothic 3 Forsaken Gods (addon to the orginal game released in 2008) will soon be community patched - hopefully this month - to bring it to Enhanced edition status as well. I'll post 3d screenies when it happens (the link has some 2d screens which look quite good)

Im a fanboy when it comes to flight sims and space sims, but tried and loved IL2 sturmovic as long as the cockpit was in the room and not in the screen.
But convergence seems irreversible and the effect is gone!
Any sims out there that I should try out? Space sims?

The rig: i7 950, GTX 470, CD 1.45 drivers (266.58 display+stereo, 266.21 IR controller), 2 monitors Viewsonic P225f 120Hz, Windows 7 64bit, 3D Vision kit
It installed OK, it plays OK in 2D, but when I switch to 3D Vision (by hot key)the screen trembles although the ghosts for 3D images are there correctly. The IR controller turns on correctly, but the glases, although they kick in, do not work, practically they do not switch on-off each lens at 60Hz, just get a little bit darker, and the image I see it's like without glases.
I tried removing one monitor, but same thing.
I have the same problem with Top Spin 2 (the screen shakes/trmble worse, otherwise same simptoms). Other games play OK in 3D Vision, without any problem (Virtua Tennis 2009, Sniper Elite).

I can't play Tiger Woods 2008 in 3D Vision either.
Any help would be appreciated, thx.
