Invisible War? oh man, if you enjoyed that you will surely adore the 1st one. About twice as long and ten times the depth. Unfortunatly I don't know if it works well with Nvidia Vision. It is only rated as fair, although the comments are only that it bodges intro or something. Will load and boot it when I complete deus ex 1, so if you don't find out sooner I'll let you know how it goes as I will fiddle around until I am absolutly positive it's not worth it in 3D!

Looks like they made one for iOS recently too ... looks a lot like that 'gilden' one.

So where does Human Revolution fit into the mix, better than Invisible War or no?
Apparently the mobile one is actually pretty good.

IMO, HR is great. Not on par with the original, but very well done. Better than IW, I'd say.
I'll probably grab whenever it goes on sale, although I usually never end up putting that much time into games on my phone ...
One of my all time favorite 'cyberpunk' games ... well I guess there aren't that many to begin with ... was/is Shadowrun for the SNES. I still have it, excellent game even to this day. If it was on steam, like some of the Sega Genesis games are, I'd buy it (again) in an instant but it's not. I think the only two ways to play it are either the original cartridge or emulation ... either way it must be played. :)

I have really high hopes for Shadowrun Returns but unfortunately they haven't made a good Shadowrun since the SNES version.
I've only played Invisible War so far, and I never even finished that one, the performance on Xbox was really bad ... but even so I liked it a lot. I'll have to get around to at least trying this one out. Does Invisible War work well with 3D Vision?
IIRC it wasn't too bad.

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Nvidia give me a break! Seriously, the drivers and profiles they make for 3D are shit, full stop, .
Just had 3D once again lock, and could not turn it on no matter what I did. another clean installation of drivers got it working again, but then Deus ex was ruined, with the GUI being split into double and generally buggered up.
I figured out how to fix it, and why it wasn't like that before. I removed the deus.exe app from the deus ex NVidia 3D profile. Once again, Nvidia's own profile buggered up the game! having the game set as unknown fixes all problems.
Seriously, Nvidia, really very disappointed in your shoddy 3D work. Thank god for the community, as this tech will die as soon as the community moves onto something else. Hope this helps someone at some point.

I would appreciate some help here. I am trying to play Deus Ex in stereo 3d without any mods. I got a D3D9 renderer, but there are some major issues with the 3D. The HUD splits up and I don't know how to disable the nVidia profile for Deus Ex. I'm running on Steam, so I can't simply rename the .exe-file. Also, the skybox is much too close - it ruins the whole thing. I'm wondering, because everyone is saying it's flawless in 3D.

I'm not sure about Deus Ex mod, but for changing profiles on Steam games you need the NVidia Inspector:
http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/nvidia_inspector_download.html
In there you can move profiles, delete bad ones, and select alternate ones for different games.
It's all a bit of a mess, but when you get all the ducks aligned, it's stunning.
Ok thanks, I deleted the profile, but I'm not sure it actually solved anything. The HUD is still unusuable with increased convergence and the skybox is still too close.

i only tried the dx10 renderer and the hud was mono after deleting the profile.

Hey Somedude. Try another profile. I always use portal 2 as it seems to be flawless on most games I have tried. Just add the deus ex.exe onto portal 2 via inspector. The problem with the skybox and hud is caused by NVidia profile buggering up, but I am not sure why deleting the profile didn't work.
The hud should be displayed at screen depth, no matter what the convergence once the profile is right. Let us know how the portal 2 profile works out.
as for DX 10, don't use it! It seems to make NVidia reticule 2D. As for no mods, download New Vision right now! it definitely improves the graphics without changing the overall art design.
P.S. if you personal message me your email, I will send you the DX9 file that I use. I am not sure what the differences are between different dx9 files, but the first couple I used had problems (if I remember correctly).

Portal 2 profile didn't change anything. I tried it again with no profile (DX9) and I think the skybox may actually be ok now, but the HUD is still 3D and only works with low convergence.
