Hmm it seems to disable shadows for me.
yeah I've just noticed now exiting from the cave :( ...it worked fine in the cave but not outside... I'm addressing to this
ok I've found the problem! ..outside shadows has no depth, I've managed that and now it works!
I've just updated the archive in the last post... make me know if it works for you too
No1's tried it anisotonic, besides helix. What are you trying to do. DX9settings is half the work, has to be in your code. Plus you are missing stuff like you didnt define a const.

@mana84.
Yea that did it. You should put on site. Will make a lot of ppl happy its good as is. Only other issue in game is water(you see for like 1 min total in like 100+ hour game). I will ask around where it is in game and if I can find it I will add to your file.

glad it works! I'll make a page tomorrow since I'm going to bed now, I'll see if I can make something good for hud too. Make me know about that water shader then.. I don't know if I'll see it in the demo...

the way I understand it, this should allow to set global convergence and depth with presets, not just for a single shader. maybe I'm wrong though. starting to think I am.

Strange. I went to water in game and don't see any issue. Might be an in cave thing too.
Sorry, you are misunderstanding what it is. Its convergence/ seperation in a shader. Like you can fix shadows/lights by putting at a certain convergence/seperation.
@All helixmod authors.
Please don't post any fixes for at least 3 days after mana84 posts his shadow fix for diablo 3 otherwise I will have to bump it below his fix.
I am starting to videos of my fixes. Its optional but you all have your own ftp accounts. If you would like to put a video on the ftp account. You can use up to 1gb file size per fix page.7

yep, you're right. got that all wrong. back to the drawing board. I'm really stuck lately, nothing works the way I expect it. gonna come up with something soon though.

Well I am clueless, I found the texcoord in charge of reflections the thing is I honestly cant tell if I fix it or not because of the wierd camera angle in game. If its fixed you cant tell (at least in my opinion) that reflections is fixed due to the camera. Your character overlaps reflection in 3d. I commented it out to disable it. If your sure you can fix by all means. I honestly cant tell if I fix it or disable it.
In 2D you can not see your reflection. I dunno tbh lol.

Actually you are not wrong. I use exactly this trick in a couple of games, Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim. Not sure if it is fluke, but it works.
Fallout New Vegas
-----------------
I am not overriding any shaders, all I have is the D3D9.dll and the DX9Settings.ini file:
There is nothing here that refers specific shaders, and it acts exactly like global convergence/separation presets, and does not screw anything up.
Skyrim
------
I do exactly the same thing in Skyrim as well (in fact I have 3 presets defined), for which there is of course a great number of fixed shaders, and flipping between the hotkeys works a treat (I have separate settings for the game play view, the map, and the skills menu). The only 'glitch' however was that there was some 'interference' with one of Helix's hud presets and one of mine. I tracked this down to be the following: after pressing one of the "v,b,n" Helix presets, and then pressing Ctrl-F7 (after say changing convergence or separation), the DLL writes back to the DX9Settings.ini file in the section under the Helix preset. I noticed this originally as a 'convenient' feature - you press the preset you want to update, change conv and sep then Ctrl-F7 and it would be 'remembered', without having to find the values in the registry or what not, by writing back to the DX9Settings.ini file. You can cycle through each preset and change it the same way. So when Helix added in his 3 presets, I think they are working the same way, and the DLL writes the updated conv+sep settings to the last pressed pre-set key entry in the settings file. This might be a consequence of an older dll version, but it happens every time with the dll I am using for Skyrim.
I am not sure why this aspect of the Helix DLL is not given more prominence, since everyone has been begging Nvidia for convergence presets for years, and here it is, right now. It is quite possible that is does not work for all game fixes since I have only tried it with a few of them.

well this is weird. it didn't work with what I need it for, and doesn't work either with fallout 3 (logically if it works on fo nv, fo3 should work as well, I guess I'll install NV tomorrow and see). I have exactly the same .ini except for my convergence values and different keys.
