WinDVD 2010 3D Blu-Ray - no meatballs Am I missing something?
I purchased Corel's WinDVD 2010 which says it supports 3D Blu-Ray and shows "Computer monitor with NVIDIA 3D Vision" as an option in its 3D Preferences. But so far I have not been able to get it to play the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs disk in 3D.
The movie menu says "3D Experience requires 3D enabled TV and Player" no matter how I have it configured.
I've tried most combinations of their options.
My display is an Acer H5360.
I updated to the 260.81 3D Vision drivers, but that didnt change anything.
The system is running Windows 7 64.
The WinDVD says it is version 10.0.5.544.114934 and appears to be newer than their most recent service pack.
The system works fine for 3D in games and with video files in the nVidia 3D Video player.
Are other people using WinDVD 2010 with 3D Vision?
Is there a configuration trick I'm missing somehow?

In the 3D Preferences tab on the Setup dialog within WinDVD 2010 there is an option at the top "3D file configuration" which for me only has two options - "Disable" and "Side by side (left-right)".
The other options are for whether to always play 3D in 3D or 2D. The monitor type, which is set to "Computer monitor with NVIDIA 3D Vision". Screen format to widescreen and the size.
My hunch is something is up with the "3D file Configuration". For 3D Vision, I would expect a "Sequential" option or something, and it seems odd that only the one "Sid by side" option is presented.
When I run it with the "Side by side" set, it gives me a dialog when it starts up saying that its going into 3D mode, the projector tells me that its switched to 120Hz, and it forces it to be in full screen. All of that was very encouraging and I was hoping that it would just work. But the movie refuses to play in its 3D mode.
