Best cable to use for 3D to Acer H5360
Hi

I've just ordered an Acer H5360 and a new GFX card (GTX285.) Could anyone tell me what cable I should order for link them. It's about 4 meters and I believe the projector has both VGA and HDMI sockets?

Also am I right in thinking that the IR transmitter is connected by a mini-usb connector? I think I will need to extend that to about 2.5 meters as well.

Thanks.

Anyone? The projector only has VGA or HDMI inputs and the 3d Vision manual says only to use DVI so do I use HDMI and a DMI adapter? What should I buy?

The nvision kit comes with a long DVI to HDMI cable. Your good since the projector has HDMI. The IR transmitter works from a short/medium distance, if it's in a good location. It sounds like your set! ;)

I've been using the 3d drivers that came with my glasses without fail. New drivers have only caused problems. I've been able to play new stuff with the original drivers like Avatar and L4D2 ( <- which is great, keep the depth lowish and move the convergence to the far right until the screen passes over itself and the hud disappears... revealing secret and true 3d!)

Since your using a projector I recommend a wireless X360 controller, it's beast once you get it down. /yes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I have to same problem. My 3D vision kit (europe, belgium) did not come with DVI-HDMI cable. Can somebody confirm that a DVI-HDMI cable will work with this ACER H5360 projector.

I then will buy such a cable.

(At the moment my 3D Vision will not start up, it says: Geforce 9600GT not compatible with 3D vision. I don't know if this has anything to do with the cable...)

I think I found the answer, DVI-HDMI seems to work fine with the ACER H5360:

Will a 5m cable work ok?

hi, i initially bought a 5 metre cable but was disapointed to find it wasn't long enough so purchased a cheap 10 metre cable off ebay for 10.99 free postage and is sweet as so long it is dvi-d to hdmi
but unfortunately prefer playing on my 360 on it than 3d games
