Elder Scrolls:Skyrim Announced Make your voice heard!

The Elder scrolls fan kids from that site will make you rage, I suggest not participating in ANY war... Just say me too +1
Reason being is that every time 3d is mention around there, the thread is hijacked by ppl who don't know anything about it. They just crowd the thread with garbage and render the thread useless.

I have joined the thread. Nice to see the misconceptions being adressed as the post grew. Makes a change. I wonder how many posters there are also regulars here?

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I have asked the guys over at MTBS3D to support Arioch's thread. Hope that's cool.

We will need a lot more voices there. The good thing (shhh, don't tell em /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' /> ) is the negative and really obviously irrational attitude of some posters there. It keeps the thread high flying and should make it rather prominent in the devs' eyes.

Errr... the devs? Who cares about them? They are just going to look at how much effort it will take and how many of their customers are likely to use the S3D. Then they will decide if it's worth doing in the initial release, in the first patch (hope not - Bethesda patches slow), or not at all.
That topic is more about the other gamers reading the thread, IMHO.

Heheh..Nothing's worth that much, even Elderscrolls 5, to put up with such juvenile behavior in that thread. Plus don't sweat it guys, unless you want to educate the ignoramus of the gaming world, I think Sony very likely has solved that 3D compatibility issue for all games that are released in both platforms. Bethesda will comply simply because it's less work for them that way. The river of progress runs on regardless of what those timid minds think and say.

There was a new thread started but like other users I'm just staying well away from it. Its the same arguments & counter arguments being repeated, with the same anti-s3d users coming back ignoring the posts which addressed their concerns. What made me admit defeat was in the new thread where 1 guy took what I said in the previous thread and twisted it to suit his view.
Q: Cant ye use another companies s3d solution?
A: No, z-depth issues for certain things like (for example) skyboxes and UI are present in the alternatives.
Q: Can't a modder just fix the skybox himself
A: Yes, but all the other issues cannot be fixed by end-users
Next thread hes going on about how the skybox and most other problems can be fixed with the construction set. Though I enjoyed reading how breaking down someones argument with structure, above-average English, & facts and calling them out on their stubborn refusal to accept your point of view is considered to be rude pseudo-intellectualism.
Anyways I'll end my ranting there since its quite possible these posts will be discovered by an anti-3d party and used to support the view that I'm an arrogant crank. And BOO!! Deus ex delayed by <edit>at least</edit> a month

I really dont get this technofobic guys, i dont like the iphone but i dont hate anyone who uses it, i think in the end its a matter of money. People hated the ps3 until it hit an affordable price with ps3 slim, all 3d hate got praise with the 3ds, an affordable 3d gaming solution, and so on, I think a lot of people simply love to troll against something they cant afford (and then they dont even know 3d doesnt have to be expensive at all)

I think a show of hands poll would turn out just as bad, if not worse, as 3d vision supporters on that forum would surely be dwarfed by anti-3d voters. That + peoples tendency to vote first, and THEN read the content of the thread, so they can't go back and change their vote. As I said in the older thread, the decision makers would then have something quantifiable to help them decide on 3d vision support "200 Yes..900 no...death to 3d!!". One of the downsides of internet poll democracy where an uninformed vote is equal in value to that of an informed one. Maybe a poll where people could only vote Yes or not at all? /tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Lol I'd love to see a poll with only 3 choices, all pro-3d!! That'd drive those guys wild.
"Do you want to see stereoscopic 3d supported in the PC version of Skyrim?"
1. "Yes definitely, just continue on from the progress made in fallout 3 and fix the final broken 3d pieces such as interface, crosshair, and reflections"
2. "Focus on making it at least as 3d compatible as fallout 3 (assuming the engine is truly new and not another iteration of Gamebryo)
2. "Yes, but only if it doesn't detract from other areas of the game"
--edit-- Rereading this it reminds me of the final G.O.A.T. question in fallout 3. The overseer! --edit--

Bethesda has officially announced that they have been working on the next Elder Scrolls game, Skyrim. The current ETA of the game is 11/11/11. Help me let Bethesda know that we would love to have this game be a 3D Vision ready title. Here is a link to the thread I started on the Bethesda forum for the game.

I tried, but the thread's been locked . . .
Although Bethesda's rendering techniques havn't been friendly to 3d in the past, their modding support has made it possible for us to fix most of the 3d issues. So perhaps we'll just have to add the 3d support for them again :)

FINALLY SKYRIM TRUE STUTTER FIX!!!!
I have been working on trying to solve this problem for over a year, tried dozens of BOGUS leads
and finally fiqured it out myself. I want to contact nvidia to see if they will update nvidia
inspector for a vsync 3/4th refresh rate setting. So far this methtod works only if you can get at least
40 fps {stable} rate and you can tolerate doubled save game and town load times, can tolerate playing
you game at 30 fps and can tolerate A slight amount of input lag and I do mean slight game still very playable. ok here goes for all you skyrim fans!!!!!!
I do use enb with lots of mods so a little tweaking is also necessary.
Ive just tested for a short time if I run or you run into issues let me know.
this method removes 99% all stuttering and microstuttering
this has NOT been tested on a 120hz monitor.
ok here goes....
download nvidia inspector- google it.
download evga percision x -google it.
install them both if you dont have them.
open nvidia inspector then open driver profile settings {right middle tab}, scroll down game list,
find elder scrolls skyrim, under vertical sync highlight 1/2 refresh rate and set fps limit tab to 60.
click apply changes and close.
now open evga percision x and set fps limit also to 60. click ok then close
now open skyrim ini file.... documents/mygames/skyrim/skyrim ini .... NOT SYRIM PREFS... the first one
skyrim ini-- under general tab change or add command iFpsClamp=30 save and close.
now for the tweaking part.
for some reason when using enb and lots of mods this mehtod requires more RESERVED system memory
or else you will lose some of your graphics effects like lighting effects textures ect--the game will
still run but look like crap.
in skyrim folder open enblocal and change reservedmemorysizemb=512 to reservedmemorysize=2304 if you
have at least 8 gb ram and 2 gb vram if crash happens then reduce by subtracting 512 from that number
and try again until stable. increasing the memory size only needed if running enb+mods.
also make sure in emb local vsync is off and in skyrimprefs ipresentinterval is est to 0
game should now be Stutter free!!!!
feel free to comment if this worked it worked for me spent lots of time on this I hate stuttering
in games!

Reason being is that every time 3d is mention around there, the thread is hijacked by ppl who don't know anything about it. They just crowd the thread with garbage and render the thread useless.

Heheh..Nothing's worth that much, even Elderscrolls 4, to put up with such juvenile behavior in that thread.

Like I warned earlier, the thread has already been rendered useless now 'argument' has been created, a show of hands is much more effective.
EDIT: Acidbong, i lol'd really loud at your breaking comment.
