Good job Paul. I know I've already asked you if there was a possibility of launching games the with Super Depth 3D and I see you don't have a Display that works with Side by side to test with. Another feature could be the option to launch games in Side by side using 3Dmigoto from your application instead of uncommenting on the ini file like it is currently. Pretty much have both options.
I wouldn't mind donating/testing for you if you need.

changing 3D format is already supported by 3D Fix Manager. However it's a little bit hidden in "Hotkeys" tab. Under "General Ini settings" section there's an option "Enable alternative 3D mode". You can select Side-By-Side, Top/Bottom and other formats here. With the latest update the new "include" section of d3dx.ini is used to keep the file clean.
I'm thinking about if it would be worth to add a small menu where you can select the 3D format when launching a game in 3D mode or a place where you can configure the preferred 3D format on a global basis.
Concerning Super Depth 3D I would be interested in but did not succeed in make this running on my machine. However I did not spend much time in it for trying. Does this shader only support side-by-side and top/bottom? No frame sequential supported?

So Like in each game where it says "play in 2d", "play in 3d". maybe a good option would be to have: "Play in 2d" "Play in 3D Vision", "Play Sibe by Side", etc. Regarding Super Depth 3D I think this only Side by Side? anyone else can correct me if I'm wrong.

You all might be aware of this already, but in case you are not, Nvidia allows the hot keys for Ansel to be reassigned.
The tool to do so is found at %PROGRAMFILES%\NVIDIA Corporation\Ansel\Tools\NvCameraConfiguration.exe

I'll probably add 3 customizable profiles. You can set your preferred 3D format there among other settings like monitor size override (important for projectors). When clicking on Play 3D you will see 3 icons (Monitor, TV, Projector). After choosing one of them the game is started with the settings from the appropriate profile. It's still just a thought yet (I haven't started developing yet).
Btw is anyone using checkerboard format? In 3d fix descriptions I often read that it would remove the 720p limitation of 3DTV Play in order to use 3dmigot's side-by-side shader in 1080p. An option for setting this is still missing in 3D Fix Manager but no one complained so far. Would be probably also good to be able to set this in the profile, too?!

Checkerboard can be selected in the NVCP via the drop down menu in the 3D tab and is supported in 3DTV Play @1080P60
You can PM Zig, he's one of the few that ever users Checkerboard, Libertine was another, but I think he upgraded to a different display.
Checkerboard is also supported in 3D Vision on Mitsubihi DLP 3D HDTVs.

Well that's hard to say. The idea is that line interleaved and checkerboard right and left images are squeezed and sent as a single frame, thus avoiding the bandwidth limitation. Then it's demuxed and presented.

Found out that the registry value is 0x20000 for StereoViewerType (Checkerboard). For 3D Vision / 3DTV Play / Generic CRT it's always 0x10000. For passive monitors it seems to be generally 0x20000 ("Optimized for Geforce"). For 3D Discover it's 0x80000001

My LG Oled actually supports checkerboard 3d, but only with a 1080p signal. The mode isn't available in 4k input resolutions.
I have to say though, on my TV it's a terrible mode, SBS and OU are vastly superior. It's probably something to do with the scaling algorithms. It's nice to have the option, but like others have said in other threads, you need to experiment to see what looks best on your display.
On a 4K passive 3d screen, line interleaved upscaled 1080p>4k is by far the best. Obviously native 4k is better but it's just not a realistic option with the GPUs currently available.

-Abzu
-Ori and the blind forest (definitive edition)
3D Vision fix manager does not copy the required "includes" files inside the game's shaderfixes folder. I have to do it by hand. Do you also have this issue ?
I also have an even weirder bug in Ori (no in Abzu) : when using the scaling feature 3D migoto displays an error in overlay :
- Unimplemented feature to force screen width in CreateSwapChainForHwnd
- Unimplemented feature to force screen height in CreateSwapChainForHwnd
and fails to scale the resolution I have set. (just keep using the default resolution)
I do not know if it is a 3D migoto bug, or if it is a file version bug.

I'm assuming that you are trying to do this without the GeoBox in the chain and thus returning the error due to trying to use a surround resolution?

No there's not, likely, the only thing you found was a generalization of the format on Texas Instruments website.
The biggest drawback to the format, is that almost any post processing can break the stereoscopic images.
There's also a proprietary Checkerboard format that never really took off. Vizio 3D HDTVs supported it, as well as Avatar the game. It was called Sensio
I have to say though, on my TV it's a terrible mode, SBS and OU are vastly superior. It's probably something to do with the scaling algorithms. It's nice to have the option, but like others have said in other threads, you need to experiment to see what looks best on your display.
On a 4K passive 3d screen, line interleaved upscaled 1080p>4k is by far the best. Obviously native 4k is better but it's just not a realistic option with the GPUs currently available.

I tried using the scaling and SBS modes from migoto 1.3.10 using 2 games :
-Abzu
-Ori and the blind forest (definitive edition)
3D Vision fix manager does not copy the required "includes" files inside the game's shaderfixes folder. I have to do it by hand. Do you also have this issue ?
I also have an even weirder bug in Ori (no in Abzu) : when using the scaling feature 3D migoto displays an error in overlay :
- Unimplemented feature to force screen width in CreateSwapChainForHwnd
- Unimplemented feature to force screen height in CreateSwapChainForHwnd
and fails to scale the resolution I have set. (just keep using the default resolution)
I do not know if it is a 3D migoto bug, or if it is a file version bug.
3D Vision fix manager says it uses the correct migoto version 1.3.10, but I do not know how to check that.
When I tried to manually copy the files from migoto 1.3.10 release, migoto no longer injects into the game. (I always fail to manually update migoto without your manager)

I'm assuming that you are trying to do this without the GeoBox in the chain and thus returning the error due to trying to use a surround resolution?
