Hello,
I like to know about 3d vision 2 details. Can you tell me what is 3D Vision Surround-Ready and 3D Vision 2-Ready . I already have 3d vision 2 glass kit. I am learning which monitor I should buy. I have some limit also to buy the monitor. most Monitor do not ship to my country. However I buy few specific monitor with 3d vision 2 ready. or any of those model. So if you clear me what is the real different between those. I can learn more for final decision. Thanks

What GPU do you have? SLI? Outputs on GPU? What OS?
The only difference between 3D Vision 1 and 2 glasses are that the "2s" have larger lenses and a little longer battery life.
3D Vision 2 monitors use "Light Boost", it helps to make the images brighter when using Nvidia's active shutter glasses.
My Gpu is nvidia quadro k2000. I am using workstation. I have lot of question. nvida 3d features have many monitor. but do not understand 3d vision 2 have only 3 monitor support.
Hello,
Please help me really confused my self about 3d vision 2 monitor. in nvidia reference site said only 3 monitor. but there are many monitor example : VG278HE also called 3d vision 2 support monitor. but its not listed in nvidia site. here is the link : https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/VG278HE/
I want all latest featured from nvidia 3d vision 2 and must support with my monitor. do you believe model : BenQ XL2430T 24" or ASUS VG278HE 27" are 3d vision 2 ready monitor. if not then why monitor site page are said 3d vision 2 ready monitor. but not listed in here http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-displays.html
Almost learning for years but do not see any topics clearly. So please help for real one. Thanks
3D Vision 2 monitors support "lightboost", 3D Vision 1 monitors do not.

3D Vision 1 or 2 glasses will work with a light boost monitor. The only difference is that the V2 glasses have a larger lens, longer battery (60 vs 40) and are somewhat more comfortable.
There are some newer models that are not on the list.
(the 3D Vision list hasn't been updated for a few years)
Some of these newer models also include Nvidia's G-Sync technology.

Are you wanting to game?
Or are you wanting to use 3D applications for work?
If you want to game, keep in mind that the K2000 isn't a gaming card and will only run older games decently in 3D on a single monitor.
Quick example: K2000 has 384 cuda cores, a GTX 680 has 1536.
If you are referring to Nvidia's 3D Vision surround, yes it only supports 3 Displays and requires SLI if using a Gpu that lower than a GTX 680. Starting with the GTX 680, you can run 3D Vision surround, plus an accessory monitor off of a single chipped GPU. Doing so, may need adapaters, depending on the connections required.

I want both. and Its a professional GPU. so it will support 3d vision too. I see but I don't have 3d monitor which required 120hz at least . 3 monitor support mean. Only 3 model listed. I want to use single BenQ XL2720Z 27" or ASUS VG248QE 24" . Why I need GTX 680 where I have better gpu already. I am not sure which one will be fine. I don't have sli too.

I didn't say you needed a 680.
I said a 680 is the minimum GPU required for 3D Vision surround on a single chipped GPU.
And, I'm fully aware of what a Quadro card is.
The comparison to a 680, was only to show you that the K1200 is lacking on Cuda cores and is a poor choice for new games.
And, no the K2000 is not a better GPU. At least gaming wise.

Hi,
Those test are incorrect.Because they do not try with fluid simulation. physics, fire fx, real time rendering etc. most people have wrong idea about quadro vs gtx. I can buy 5 gtx card with 1 quadro. its one kind of secret. if people know the real fact then everyone can make hollywood film. However I am 3d artist. I know multiple type of software and I see the difference.I also have GTX latest one. But simply if I run 50-80+ tab my computer going to hang. or rending take up to 1 hours only 1 high resolution fluid simulation in GTX Card. actually lot of difference. Now using workstation HP model : z820. Its unbelievable performance gpu and computer. However I am not interested in Gaming just only for 3d movies with Nvidia 3d vision 2 wireless kit. People can understand simple way about quadro . Quadro can make Games , GTX can see it . who made real shadow or realistic water effect they must be far difference too. Quadro cuda core and GTX cuda core is not same. Even GTX card value like 3000+ . a quadro card 300 work like 3000. its actual top secret. thats why in any nvidia forum or nvidia page never describe the 2 difference.
Anyways just give me The idea.which one will better monitor . Believe ASUS PG278Q 27 is best and latest. but I am interested to buy BenQ XL2720Z 27" or ASUS VG248QE 24".
Note : Latest GTX really Good. But however I brought long time ago. and not sure why We can not use the gpu in our workstation. Because do not see listing the gpu in workstation.

I also do not get your question or answer.
However I finally brought the Monitor as I want.My Monitor Benq XL27207 cost me up to 1200$ including tax.and Its my 3d vision really amazing with workstation gpu. So until you use it or not it is not possible to compare. I feel the same quality even I believe it is better than Oculus rift. In 27 inch monitor. I see somehow 1000 inch in my eye with some customization parallax and real quality. However. MY answer surely help for everyone who decide to buy 3d vision and want to use in workstation GPU. Here is the picture of my monitor setting with workstation
