Absolutely gorgeous game! I am about two hours in and using the Mafia 3 profile in CM. Game is supposed to last anywhere between 7-10 hours. Kind of Submerged meets Ico, meets Uncharted (sans weapons), meets (Stylistically) Journey. While there have been reports on performance issues, I've had none on my rig (other than the slightly annoying issue of both Steam VR and Oculus Home wanting to launch.) This game and Mages of Mystralia (both released this week) are two real surprises for me and both are games that would benefit greatly from a proper 3D fix.

So far, that seems to be the biggest complaint. Performance and stuttering. Tequila Works also has a VR Murder Mystery upcoming, that looks interesting. https://uploadvr.com/the-invisible-hours-preview/

LOL - I end up bouncing around from game to game... can't help myself :-) These days, I find that I am pulling away from the games that ask you to commit 60-100 hours of your life and am perfectly content to play the "indie" games that last 4-5 hours, mixed with the 10-20ish hour games. Lately, that has meant Styx 2, Bayonetta, Little Nightmares, What Remains of Edith Finch and The Fidelio Incident, and finally beating Titanfall 2. Now that those are all done, it's Mages of Mystralia and Rime that are getting most of my attention... mixed in with a little NieR and some "old school" Blades of Time. And Rime really is nice - can't recommend it highly enough if you liked games like Submerged, Abzu, etc.

Played roughly two hours of this and wow, it's a beauty visually. There is so much depth to the enviroments that I think this game would look incredible in 3D, there are lots of particles floating around in places as well which always look great in 3D. I would be happy to donate for a 3D profile :) I just gave the game a go using Tridef, some shadows and lights were wrong but it does look amazing in 3D. Top tip for anyone getting poor performance with this game is to change the AA setting to TXAA or FXAA.
Just take a quick look. Game looks very fun!
Yes, I played for a little bit and first thing I thought was that it would be your type of game. It's short, beautiful and kid friendly so you can play with your children -unlike Little Nightmares, which would probably scar them for life. lol. I'm finding as I get older I prefer these shorter games! Dont' have the time to spend hundreds of hours on a single game, no matter how good it is.

I finished my first play-through yesterday. It was eight hours beginning to end, although I missed quite a few of the game's collectibles. It was an emotional story that unfolded beautifully - one of my favorite games so far this year.

Wow... fantastic! Rime is a textbook example of how S3D can absolutely transform a game. While it was a fantastic experience in its own right, S3D raises the game to a much higher level. Well done and much thanks DHR.

Great work DHR, thanks! It should be less stressing than Outlast ( a hell of a fix for a hell of a game) ;)
