new to 3d sony 3d glasses
hi everyone,
i am new to this 3d stuff. i have a sony 40inch hx800 hdtv and just bought the sony 3d glasses for it. but i have to bulid a cpu and want to buy a 3d nvidia video card. so i want to know if i bought the 3d card to play 3d movies will my sony glass work or do i have to buy new ones. or which card can u recommend for watching 3d blu ray movies, i am not a gamer. i would be greatful for the help. e-mail chile_radesh@hotmail.com

A stand alone 3d blueray player(or PS3) will be the most hassle free if you will be buying 3d blueray disks only. Otherwise you need 3dtv play and I would say a gtx 550 ti or better.

No, 3DTV Play is not required for Blu Ray 3D. The best way to do Blu Ray 3D is with a standard Blu Ray player in your computer, and the appropriate software. The huge advantage of PC based over a stand alone player is that you can make ISOs of BRD/ BRD 3D and keep them on your HDD, you don't need the physical Blu Ray disc.
