The problem with pirated versions generally is that virus hitting the system is abou 99% user error and most cracs ect trigger a virus infektion notification and and you make a choise to ignore it and sooner or later you get infected and once you get a bug that fucks up your system completely and you find your self doing full Reinstall that takes for days to pick up your stuff and install all shit you have. you Are done with pirated shit.
So its not really worth it just wait for the Official launch.
Play those titles you have bought but never got around to play in
The meantime while waiting

I just bypassed the critcal helicopter-crash scene by deactivating 3D Vision. After that I could go on with playing in 3D Vision.
Unfortunately I now ran into the next crash-inducing scene:
When I encounter the first Licker in the game (hanging under the ceiling next to the S.T.A.R.S-office) I always get a freeze and then a CTD!
It always happens exactly when I start to fight the Licker or the Licker starts to go bananas. As long as I just look at him and he doesn't notice me yet (because me being silent) everything's ok!

Couldn't make out a single issue until the point where a helicopter crashes into the police station.
One time I also got an instant freeze exactly at the moment when the sound of the crashing helicopter could be heard.
I fixed those crashes today (thanks to the log pointing to the guilty element). Also fixed lens flares as I planned. I'm working on more stability and bug fixes, so today I won't upload an update, I'm afraid (unless I get a solution very soon for a bug I want to fix).
@3D_Mike, you may have more luck in the next version. Just wait for a while. I also discovered that "UseOptimizeShader=Disable" isn't mandatory for 3D, but with "Enabled" it generates new shaders, which I fixed today.
@TimFx7, lol. I won't be checking pirated versions. If it doesn't work, wait for a sale or the final fix :p (it may work).
Thank you! I got it working in the meanwhile. Problem was that the FOV-fix for 3d-vision-surround from helifax didn't work together with your WIP5 3D-vision-fix. So without the FOV-fix and only with your fix alone I got perfect 3D but the FOV was bad in 3D-vision-surround.
I could solve it by appying the FOV- and Vignette-fixes from Jackfuste instead. Now everything looks perfect (but I only get around 20 FPS in 3D-vision surround ;-) Maybe it's too demanding for my hardware in 3D-vision-surround...)
I don't have a fix for the FOV btw. And the UI fix that I made is included in this fix.
As for the vignette removal fix by jack, that is completely wrong.
All you need is this fix and the FOV fix from WSGF.
Sorry Helifax, of course it was my fault somehow. Maybe I used an older version of the WSGF-fixes. I read that you always updated the links there with newer versions.
And then I was maybe confused by infos on WSGF like "Known issue:
helifax's fix or any fix that uses 3DMigoto causes bad framepacing issues with this game." or "To fix the cropping and removing black bars, use helifax's fix. Or jackfuste's fix with mod framework" (http://www.wsgf.org/dr/resident-evil-2-2019/en). Therefore I wrote "Helifax fix" but I messed some things and words up, it seems. Sorry for that.
When I downloaded the (latest) files from the WSGF-links it worked.
Thank you for all your contributions to keep 3D alive and sorry for misunderstandings...

Patience! The fix I'm preparing is more stable (it never crashes in the helicopter cutscene nor in the first cutscenes), fixes (more or less) volumetric lighting, has automatic low convergence for cutscenes (if DoF is enabled), and I'm in the middle of doing a proper lens flares fix.
I didn't fight any licker yet, but maybe it won't crash. I spent several hours today trying to make the game crash and then fixing those problems, time after time.

Watched some HDTVs video about the game. They play on the Xbox and the game seems to have a setting allow 3d ..is there some games on the Xbox that have 3d

Hmm.. I've never heard anything about stereoscopic game support on the newer XBox consoles. However, the newer ones do support 4K, HDR and 3D Blu-rays.
how about linking the video?

This game is awesome. A single player where you can sink a lot of hours. I just finished 2nd run and it was great. I was expecting very similar events but except the locations not much was the same.
I have 4th survivor to do now.
By far the best Single player I played in past years.
Thanks for your work Masterotaku
