I am getting a 3D monitor. It's this:

It has DVI out and HDMI out.
I'm new to the whole 3D gaming thing but. What cable or cables will I need to play in 3D?
I have a 550Ti on latest beta driver that has 3D Vision support.
Thanks.

DO NOT BUY THAT DISPLAY.
3D monitors are not all equal and you have to buy one that supports DVI-D!

Tbh your video card is way out of date. 3D vision needs 2x video card perfromance.

That really depends on the games, I bought a 550ti last year as a 3D placeholder until the 600s came out and it played older games perfectly fine in 3D at 1080p. I played through Dead Space 1 & 2 on it in 3D.

Nvidia does not officially support that monitor, although there are workarounds.
The bad thing with those small passiove monitors is that the sweet spot for somewhat ghost free viewing in very small. You have to maintain good posture and not slouch.
DVI was, maybe still is the better connection to use on that monitor, it gives less ghosting.
Know that it only accepts a 60Hz connection, it is not a true 120Hz monitor.
You would be better off buying a different display. If money is a problem, you might see if you can find the Acer passive that is supported by Nvidia

But once again the Passive displays are not recommended for stereoscopic gaming, much more so with the small ones.
