So I decided to go in myself and disable the underwater shader for stormblood expansion, found it very easily. But I am having the same problem as before, I cannot see a shader file save when I make changes, I can hear the beep sound but no new file created. Also I wish there was something I could do with the clouds they are still messed up.

// Cumulus Clouds to near infinity
float4 stereo = StereoParams.Load(0);
float depth = stereo.x;
float convergence = stereo.y;
o0.x += depth * 2300;
in the following VS file line 119 you can change o0.x += depth * 2300; 2300 adjusts the clouds.. if you change that number the seperation will change..
It looks fine on my end but maybe I am wrong.. here is the shader the clouds are: 7731b1f1d02a75aa

OK I went in and painstakingly looked at the clouds and seen they where off.. I corrected them and removed the sun as it does not have a VS to make it stereoised..
here is the files it is zipped and plaace the two txt files in your shaderfixes folder and the d3dx.ini file in where the Game EXE is..

Thanks for trying Th3_N3philim , but when I placed those files I get this, I wonder if its because I am on windows 10?

OK I redid the files here they are. make sure you remove the jpg extension then unzip the file. there should be 3 files inside the zipped file..
2 txt and a ini file.. I also removed hunting and I just loaded the game and I do not see that artifact there??
What time in game was it?? maybe a certain area where where you at ingame too??
I get a runtime error with the new version game will not start, the files are installed correctly and named right. I tried installing the new files without the extra ffe10fac873407ad-ps files and it worked but still with the weird effect so I am unsure why that files gives me runtime error, and to answer your question I tried multiple areas but all at night time.

the 2nd file there is a picture to show you what mine looks like. it does not go in the fix.. I do not know why you get that glitch in the graphics..
Let me try something give me a minute I will redo the ini file..
not sure what else to try as I adjusted the number down then up. maybe they are inverted and need a matrix fix which I am not sure hoiw to do??
There is seperation in the clouds just not sure why they are not working properly??
I think now might be a good time to announce that I restarted up my sub for this last week, so I've been working on a fix for the past couple days and it's getting close to completion. I've completely fixed all lighting and shadows (around 700 shaders!), and did some HUD tweaking (but still would like to make some more improvements). Next things on my to do list are fixing the skybox and clouds, and water/reflections (if possible), and then I'll put out a test release. Also hoping to be able to implement a 3D mouse cursor at some point, and possibly have nameplates appear at proper depth above their characters (instead of pushed into just a static depth), but having a bit of trouble getting DSS's auto-depth code working here so I might have to table those ideas.
I was going to save the announcement and just make the release when it's ready in the next couple days, but I figured I'd mention it now to save N3philim a bit of trouble of trying to figure out the problem jhgator is mentioning. Sorry to be poaching another game fix from you man, but hopefully you'll be happy when you see how great the lighting in this game looks in 3D.

DJ-RK I am very ecstatic that you are going to fix this game. I prayed to Jesus for help with this and my Prayers are answered..
So Thank you Jesus and you too DJ-RK I really mean that brother ;)
If you could tell me what fixed the clouads that would be a bonus..
Ok, so got all the sky shaders fixed (I think), except for the sun and the moon which are a bit more involved than the rest so will take a little more time to figure out. Water is fixed, but screen space reflections are not at correct depth (but relatively close) so you can turn off reflections if you prefer in the options.
I've really only been able to look around Gridania extensively. I've loaded up characters in the other 2 main starting cities as well and things look ok there so hopefully that goes everywhere, but I haven't really gotten to exploring much, and that's the main reason I'm putting out this WIP so you fine folk can tell me what, if anything, is broken elsewhere (and where).
As mentioned, HUD refinements may come. For now, you can cycle through different HUD depths on the ] key (and you can disable the HUD all together with the \ key to get some nice screeenshots). There's also a low convergence toggle on the Capslock key.
Also note: this fix does take a hit to performance, even moreso than just the regular hit that 3DVision incurs, and no I'm not going to scale it down or troubleshoot further. I've also been running at completely max settings, so using some lesser settings may have things break. Please let me know if so and I might look into it.

Don't have the greatest screenshots done up yet, but here's a couple (sorry for the low depth)

Once I feel confident the fix is ready (and get my AWS login sorted out) I'll post it up to the blog.
