The only thing besides the shallow depth is the red point of weapons, which is blurred and not aligned with where you shot when raising convergence. I'm not sure what you mean by blur, but make sure you have turned off motion blur in the game settings as that is sure to cause trouble, both in CM and real 3D (I have had luck fixing motion blur in real 3D, but it's usually very difficult and never worth the effort).

Googled some time now, but I can't make 3D screenshots work.
If I use Nvidia Alt+F1 it stores them under Videos/"GameName" in png format...nothing under documents.
I checked all setting in NVIDIA...I cannot find it really.

SaveStereoImage should normally be 0x470. If it's 0x2C like above, that's why PrintScreen is making JPS.
My flag was 0x470 before. Changed it to 0x2C. But still no difference after a restart.
I reinstalled(Fresh DDU Clean) Nvidia driver several times last days,...always 2D!

"You can't really "fix" shaders in CM. " Ok did not know that.
But I was able to deactivate my weapon and Hand completely, so I am left with a red dot only.
The CM mode is not bad with 100% depth and a bit of convergence, but the big Problem is, that weapon alignment is off, the higher you make convergence.
To fix that bad alignment you have to make convergence 0, but that flattens the picture dramatically.
The only BIG problem for me in CM is the weapon only. The halos are not that bad if you don't cramp up convergence too much. But when you make it look beautiful the weapons shoots to the right, not where you aim.

Blurry = 3D
No blurry = No 3D !
This is how it's work. Blurry are streched textures to create the mandatory second image for 3D.
If you want less streched texture use large screen. On large screen, separation is less needed for 3D effect.
By the way I hate fake 3D. Like they have put in the first Crysis... I never use Compatibility Mode nor Power3D...
...the biggest problem I see is that convergence gets disabled (only separation, flat, deep into the screen remains) as soon as enemies are tagged, or you have squad mates in your party which have automatic tagging.
This means one has to be careful to not hire anyone, which is a large mechanic in the game, and ensure you don't tag enemies, which is also a mechanic which needs to be used.
Any ideas on how one might bypass this restriction?
Pretty easy. Deactivate Enemy tagging and ally tagging(Options-Interface), then the problem is gone.
Also the game is not too easy then, which is a general problem with FC5.
But how can you play with convergence anyway?
I have to put convergence on 0 and Depth to 40% to not shoot to the right.
Also with higher convergence than 0, the iron sights are totally gone, or blurred.
AND shooting way too the right.

Still seeking "help" answers, why others can play it with 100% depth and shoot straight?
I really enjoy it so much, but 40% Depth 0 Convergence is nearly 2D. 100% depth looks really decent.
Also tried many others profiles, nothing works.
Could I try older driver version?
Would it make a difference?
Anything else I can try?

So no one want to fix this game with the anticheat off ?
Cause Ubi wont let us fix it if not...
Have only played 4h of coop in march. Still have hope for 3D !
.
Eh. Just keep checking the thread from time to time mate.
It will get done. I'm sure "DSS" has a plan. I wont touch the game until then.
I ended up installing it and installing Vampyr while I wait. I wont do 2D or compatibility mode. Don't care how good the game's are lol. Come to far to turn back now.

I gave up on Far Cry 5 proper 3D Vision fix and decided to play it in CM. IMHO CM is way better than good 'ol 2D :))) However, I'm having an issue with NPCs - they are "floating" above the ground. Any ideas if that is fixable somehow? I'm using the latest drivers and enabled CM mode via 3D Fix Manager. Thanks.

Lol, I don't have this issue.
You didn't have to enable CM mode via 3D manager as it's already enabled in default profile… Perhaps it's that causes this issue?
Actually, I have tried running game via 3D Fix Manager and without it. No difference :/ Anything you can suggest to try to fix this? Thanks :)

3D Fix Manager doesn't affect CM for Far Cry 5 because Nvidia already set it in the driver profile (like chitblue said).
In AC: Origin I saw that MSAA can break CM. So maybe your issue is related to a graphics settings in the game. However would be strange if it would just make people floating above the ground :D

The issue with wrong depth was because of enemy and friends tags. Once I turned them off - depth issue gone. :)
Anybody tried Far Cry 5 with CM "Unleashed" tool from Helifax? If so, could you please share your profile? :)
Thanks!
UPDATE: I've used Metro: Exodus profile for CM "Unleashed" and Far Cry 5 shined with new colors! It now looks absolutely amazing!
