Game bugfixing should not breake 3D fixes. Only updates to graphics. But an adaption of a fix should not be a problem. Often we only have to find new hashes for the basically same shaders. Since on the fly fixing via RegEx we also try to fix games using this that should cover updates for Graphics in the game because its not hash speciffic. Annyway fixing this game is a project for me to learn and understand many new things. Hence it is worth in any way to work on:-)

Devil May Cry HD Collection was painful. It only got one update, but it changed the hash of all shaders because they decided to include one more line.

Sure, but as I told this game fix and the chat with DarkStarSword was telling me a lot of more things here and help me understanding some things better. It’s not a problem I will update a fix if there is a game update that will break it. This is something we have to live with ^^ But I am here for you ^^
I was able to fix the main lightening now by adapting the JC3 fix now, also have learned essential things from DSS for doing this.
I will now carefully try to fix the other effects left here but I think this is only a matter of time. Support from the other shader hackers is great since DSS made this amazing discordapp.com platform for us! There will be another post after this that I will update continuously to get you informed about the progress here and not to spam the forum with posts every day.

OK i am happy to announce some progress after 3 days of fixing without any success here. I will update the post tomorrow my time is up for today. But i now do know what the focus here is for finding shaders. May I need a RegEx here; there is more than one light and shadow shader and all are somewhat different and heavily to hunt.
Anyway...I am going on her, but I think this fix will not be finished this year. Christmas is near and I need some time to relax and so on ....
There are shadows from char on objects and ground that do not have a peer shader PS. i need to find some work around her for fix it in the VS.... or let it be.....or try to find a CS....but hunting CS will currently crash the game...I have an idea for a approx. fix but I can currently not fix the depth here....but I’ll find a way because HAVE FOUND it some days ago and removed it ^^ hehe stupid....but this is a minor issue.
The really MAJOR Thing is Lightening Clipping. I was able to fix those in nearly every game....but after 24hrs here....NO WAY to find a solution.....May be this is also a CS....but not huntable because of game crashes.
@ the End you may have to live with 60% depth to reduce it dramatically or you have to go with its....if I can’t find any solution here, it’s up to you. But currently there are effects to be and can be fixed left, hence ill skip this those days for the first time.
