That big and its 8bit TN panel. It will cost an arm and a leg and it will not be worth it. Since we don't find any others thus the price will be so high.

I will say this. If its anything like Asus's 1920 120 TN.. it has no black light bleed. For a TN thats rare.

I wonder if there will be a big impact in image quality when playing in none native resultion (1920x1080 or maybe 1280x720) on these monitor?
I'm tempted to by this one even if its a bit expensive only for viewing photos in a higher res...

In my mind this is a good thing - There's no need to buy the monitor until the GPUs are released, which allows time for the monitor price tag to come down.

There are ALWAYS going to be GPU's capable of 1440p 3D gaming like you can right now with 780 TI SLI. The problem is DURATION it will last.
Resolution is a multiplier and only one factor if games graphics improve[as it always does with time] then that costs performance.'

1080p[2] x GAMES GRAPHICS [800] = 1600
1440p[3] x GAMES GRAPHICS [800] = 2400

Yeah, I can confirm this. The G-SYNC kit comes with three technologies: ULMB, G-SYNC, and 3D Vision, but none of these work together. As far as I can tell, they just haven't quite figured out how to combine G-SYNC with the strobing backlight of ULMB and 3D Vision.
I just hope they work that out by the time these new monitors hit the market, because the driver implementation for the ASUS VG248QE's G-SYNC kit isn't remotely user-friendly.

I'd prefer to see a monitor that supports 3d vision and tridef at 1080p. My current one does but both 3dvision and tridef activate and the performance impact is just too much.... =/

I've ordered one. I've been waiting ages for an upgrade over my 1920x1200 60 hz monitor (I didnt want to downgrade to 1080p and wanted 120 hz).
I 'only' have SLI GTX 680s though, so might not be able to max everything out anymore.
