It does = http://www.benq.com/product/monitor/xl2420t

Had a few days playing around with the 3D on the monitor and its superb and gives some games a nice new lease of life. Impressive technology.

Sooo..any updates on the XL2420T? There are reviews and such on the net but unfortunately none of those goes deep into the ghosting issue. Is there any visible crosstalk on this monitor - and/or how is it compared to the VG278?

Hey I am currently using the FuHzion VX2265wm and was wondering if updating to the new lightboost is worth while? I love 3d gaming, but honestly in the two years I've used it, I haven't used it much for a few different reasons, but the main reason now why I am hesitant to use it is because of the ghosting. I find it pretty distracting in ME3.

Does the lightboost help considerably with ghosting?

Oh and if it is worth while which monitor is the way to go?
I found the asus one seems to offer the largest screen but I am not too concerned about size really.

Then there is also the Benq one:

And the acer but that doesn't seem to be out yet.

Hello all. Im new to the forum and looking to upgrade from a 42" 3d led tv to a multi screen 3d vision setup. Im wondering if I could use the BenQ XL2420TX as a center screen (as it comes with built-in emitter and 3d vision 2 glasses) and 2 x BenQ XL2420T for either side? I was planning on purchasing 3 of the Asus VG278H screens but it would cost too much and the missus wouldn't be impressed with her being 28 weeks pregnant!!

Thanks in advance.

Gary.

I wish that 27 inch acer with the lightboost and the emitter built in would come out for the vision 2 already /wallbash.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wallbash:' /> .i dont wanna get the asus 27 inch and even tho the benq with the built in emitter looks nice and seems to be a great monitor i rather have a 27 inch then a 24 inch /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I have been waiting forever too but it seems like acer 3d vision 2 supported 27inch monitor is just gone into air or something. I have not heard of any news about it since last year. It's been already 4 months. I am done waiting. I think I will just buy asus version or something. Since it's been 4 months, asus might have addressed issues it had in early batches(I hope). This kinda sux though. Why is asus vh278h only 3d 27 inch monitor with lightboost technology ready? I smell something fish here. :(

I've recently purchased the Asus 27" and its really been fantastic. None of the light bleeding issues, and its bright as all heck. I'm quite happy with it.

It looks like nobody besides asus is going to make 3d vision 2 lightboost technology enabled 27 inch 3d monitor. Just pure performance-wise, asus vg278h didn't impress me at all when I bought it last november and returned it due to halo back bleeding. They called it 3rd generation ghost busting technology but compared to acer hn274h,ghosting didn't improve at all. Only thing improved was brightness but what's the point? Brighter the screen is, more ghostings are noticeable. :(

Is it just that 3d vision 2 marketing is failing so bad that nobody wants to make 27 inch 3d monitor?

While I am very happy with my Asus, I think you are right about the marketing. There is a lot of negative feelings to 3d gaming I find in the gaming community, mostly second hand or people who tried it once on some lousy set up. On the flip side there is almost NO marketing I can find for 3d vision. I saw a little when it was first introduced but this is a product you need to SEE and see set up well to experience. Its quite frustrating as people have made up their mind without trying it.

I've got the Benq 2420 x 3 in 3D vision surround and it's AMAZING. Huge step up from my Acer 3D vision surround setup. Much brighter, and almost 0 crosstalk. I've been so happy with the performance that I've left the default 3D lightboost setting at 100 as the ghosting is so barely noticeable that I don't even feel the need whatsoever to lower brightness to reduce the VERY MINIMAL crosstalk that I have.

Hello,
Sorry for the interruption, I have a problem regarding nvidia 3d vision 2 that just arrived 2 days ago. I did everything that stated from the troubleshoot when wizard is not complete/finish and tried different driver to see if the compatibility could match with the 3d vision 2. The problem is the image keep swapping from left to right about 8-10 seconds in a cycle. The green polygon (what ever shape it is) will slowly turn to the blue triangle from the top screen to the bottom. This occurs the same for both left and right eye but in opposite shape.

I'm using m17x r3 with 2nd gen i7 intel processor, 1.5G GTX 560m for graphic card connect to Acer GD235HZ LCD monitor using mini-dispplay port with usb to dual DVI cable to support 120hz (and it does give 120hz option in nvidia control panel). Please help!
