Is there an option to enable Stereoscopic 3D in the launcher (like in the previous 2 games) when 3D Vision is enabled in NV Panel?
Yes, but it makes no difference wheter I enable 3D in the launcher or the in game settings. The issues remain the same.
If so, the support is there, just the profile is wrong, which could be worked out by someone who knows about profiles ;)
I fear that not only the driver but also the game engine itself causes problems as the game also turns into greyscale in SBS mode...
I have the same problem with SBS not showing color. I bought this game only because the stereoscopic option and I really don't understand why would a big company releases a game they KNOW some of its options are not working. I think its not far from stealing money from people especially when they are paying for the early access.
who knows when they are going to fix this problem.. and until then my money in thier pockets..
ill never preorder again
lesson learned

I think game developers focus on the bugs affecting the majority first and working their way down to the minority. In most scenarios we will be the latter. You guys will hate me for saying this but you might have to wait another 3 months ±. How long did it take with ROTTR for the official 3D implementation after release? I'm sure it would be pretty soon. They probably have their hands full now that SOTTR is run on thousand variants of setups other than those they've tested it with (this depends on their solvency and thoroughness of course). To keep sanity patience is key =)

As I can't wait several months to play SOTTR I'm quite happy that the CM (profile for AC Unity) at least provides an idea how SOTTR would look in real 3D. After playing several titles in CM (like Assassin's Creed Origins) over many months I got used to its flaws. As I will play SOTTR more than one time I can stand CM for my first walk through. I have played ROTTR in CM, then with the 3Dmigoto fix and finally in the 3D patched version and enjoyed it every time. Maybe You should give CM a try for a first impression of the game, especially when You have payed for early access...? Important: when playing in CM don't use the hotkey for enabling/disabling 3D Vision as it will result in the permanent on/off switching. Instead turn on/off exclusive fullscreen in the game settings.
But I can understand if You are too disappointed and can't stand CM. I didn't want to mention CM in my support ticket as I didn't want to give the developers the impression that there is a "workaround" for the 3D issues and they don't need to be fixed (soon).
Please be friendly and patient when communicating with the support. It is very rare that a team that ports an AAA console title to PC even thinks about 3D. So it is at least a sign of hope that there is a stereoscopic option in the game settings. If there would be a shitstorm about "false advertisement", etc. there might be no mention of 3D in future titles at all...

My original display name is 3d4dd - for some reason Nvidia changed it..?!
I purchased the Croft edition blindly which I should have know better. Not saying it would be fixed but again six months from now it would have been a lot cheaper.

CM is not my cup of tea and I prefer to just “forget” about this game for a while..
And you did the right thing not mentioning CM to support. For me and I guess for many others playing in CM is out of the question.
But have fun man ;) I’ll wait and maybe play rotter for a 2nd time

Hi,
I am sorry but I am a big noob at working CM.
I tried Nvidia 3D TV play but despite 3d render, it was flat as 2D.
I tried Tridef 3D and 3D mode did not kick in as the 3D rendering looked like aberrations poping in and out and mostly flat as 2D. I tried a few profiles but nothing worked.
I looked up Helifax's post about CM mode, and entered CM mode compatibility flag code via Geforce 3D profile manager but when I relaunched the game, 3D did not kick in at exclusive full screen.
Would it be possible for you to detail steps or some instructions so that I could get CM working.
Thank you very much. It's due to all you members that 3D noobs have had memorable 3D gaming experiences.
