It feels like Nvidia is giving up on us. No more responses from Andrew. No support for newer games. No resolution on the Samsung DLP's. I am trying to stay positive because the games I do get to work, work well. I just hope there isn't a newer version coming out (I just bought mine) or that they have put 3D vision on the side.
Unless it is for the new Fermi cards I am waiting for.
I fully support Nvidia but I am getting concerned.

I wonder if the Samsung DLP fix is in beta right now and not working with the testers, or if it's stuck together with a bunch of Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2 fixes that aren't all quite ready and they don't want to do a bunch of releases really quickly and make things even more confused. It's just kinda sad that most people will be done with the games before the fix is out so there will be no "Oh you gotta get 3D for this game it's awesome" hype.

I'm most concerned about the lack of acknowledgement from nvidia on ghosting improvement (specifically shutter timing adjustment) in future driver releases. The fact the I can't bring myself to play at >20% depth due to top of screen ghosting on their flagship recommended monitor (Samsung 2233rz) is disheartening to say the least.

it is rather disappointing that Samsung users are still SOL- That Quad SLI is not supported even at the end of the gtx295's rein- and im betting wont ever really work- That non of the top games are 3d ready out of the box- and that the next generation glasses are not out yet.

System:
Intel I7 920 overclocked to 4ghz
Asus Rampage Extreme II
2 Ge-force 480 in SLI
GTX 295 PhysX Card
12gb ddr3 2000mhz ram
Intel SSD in RAID 0
BR RW
1000w Sony surround sound
NVIDIA 3D Vision
3d displays tested:
Mitsubishi 65" DLP 3d HDTV (good old 1080p checkerboard since 2007!!!)
Panasonic VT25 (nice 2d but I returned it due to cross talk)
Acer H5360 720p on 130" screen (the best 3d)
23" Acer LCD monitor (horrible cross talk- sold it)
I would guess they are really busy getting the GTX 470 and 480 ready for market, making constant contact with tech news media affiliates, probably borrowing Andrew's time for a lot of things. They're really slow to update things sometimes but they do come through usually, having been on this ride since April '09. I have a feeling they're gearing the next update to be huge because there's a lot of major things people are waiting for them to fix.

Yeah they've invested way too much money into this 3d thingy to
not back it up. I agree with the above poster, we just gotta be patient
and enjoy what we can for now.. :)
