Windows 7 RC1 64bit with 3D Vision and Geforce GTX 295 Card
Hey Guys and Nvidia,

For Nvidia:
Can you please release drivers that work with Windows 7 RC1 running with 3D games

I have tried running the latest drivers as well as in Vista Compatibility Mode. Also tried the suggested older drivers that someone mentioned in a previous post.

I have had blue screens and sometimes manage to install driver but just as you start the game PC will freeze or blue screen.

Can you let me know when you will release a fully functional driver that will work properly for Windows 7 RC1 64bit while using the 3D Vision software

ALL:
If anymore has truely managed to resolve this, please pass on the exact sequence you did. I have tried so many ways, but still no luck.

My kit:
Gainward Geforce GTX 295
Intel i7 (3.7Mhz)
6GB Ram
Nvidia Geforce 3D Vision Bundle
Samsung SM2233RZ 22" 120Mhz 3D Widescreen

Thanks

Good news Guys, Nvidia finally release the new drivers for the 3D vision software:

Geforce 3D Vision CD v1.08
Release Date 14th May 2009

You download the zip file and then unzip and run the launch program.

On the first try, I could not get the transmitter to be recognised during the second stage stereo setup.

Here's what you need to do:

Makesure you fully uninstalled all Nvidia drivers and Phyx from control panel. Then restart machine. You will have to restart a second time becuase when you log back in, it will install default drivers.

After second restart, login and start the lauch program. It will install the Nvidia drivers and again restart.
When you login it will launch the 3D stereo software.

If you find that during this stage you have issues, eg the transmitter cannot be recognised, exit program, remove the transmitter from Device Manage (you can only remove it, while it is still connected to USB). Ensure you remove just the 3D software Control Panel.

Then go to the directory where you unzipped the program. Go to the Stereo dir and run the program again, but in Vista Compatibility mode (you may have noticed before that when it runs this program it already states Vista, so it looks like to me that they have not yet fully developed this part of the software for Win 7 just yet). Once you run the program, follow the instructions to connect transmitter when asked and configure glasses.
Once complete, Exit and launch you game.

I started of last night with Left4Dead. Dam it was cool, great 3D quality. Will try Half Life next.

Any issues, give me a shout, but all I can say is that I have a Happy Windows 7 64bit OS running with 3D Vision Software. No need to waste time with Vista anymore ;0)

Cheers
