Please fix this!!!!

My TV - Samsung HL61A750 61-Inch 1080p LED Powered DLP HDTV

I understand you guys are trying to fix this, but I'm just letting you know the issue isn't resolved. I'm still On 1.5 drivers unless I do that hack around these guys are doing, but I don't want to do that. I want the drivers to work properly like they have been doing all along with my TV.(It won't even allow me to play avatar in 3D without updated drivers, it lags with 1.5 now) /sorcerer.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sorcerer:' />

I don't know what I was doing wrong, but just couldn't get it to detect ever, even on the 1.15 drivers and also when I followed the andrews directions. Just had got the glasses and am on a fresh windows 7 64-bit install. Was glad I was at least able to get it work doing what I said above, would of never got it working without the instructions just wanted to add that I had an additional weird issue.

So we're 10 days into the new year, I honestly expected some sort of feedback from Nvidia in the last several days. I've pinged tech support again... They've gone 20 days without contacting me on my last ping.

Honestly, I think this is the worst PC product I've bought in nearly a decade, in terms of how much hassle it's caused me. A normal person would have just returned it and been done with it, but I really thought Nvidia would support it, I had a lot of good faith in them.

They have been working this issue and it has been addressed. My games still work with the 1.5 drivers, and there is a work around for this if you want to make the new drivers work.

I just want Nvidia to know I 100% disagree with this guy. Keep up the good work and fix the issue with Sammy DLP!! /sorcerer.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sorcerer:' />

I'll admit I overreacted, the lack of communication is frustrating. It seems like they're effectively closing out tickets when the problem isn't really resolved, so if we don't speak up it will go back into the "not even being worked on" state for another several months again.

Im glad that we have the hacked method to make 1.19 work... However if Mass Effect 2 comes out, and there is an update...which doesn't work with my Samsung...and the hack doesnt' work either...I think I may just kill a kitten.

hey all, i'm new to the forums and searched through the posts however i didnt see anyone ask about the HLT5076S Model...which is what i have. I'm on the fence with this product and plan on picking up a 120hz LCD monitor for it but i wanna wait for the Acer to come out. So i figure i use my DLP in the mean time, it is 3D ready with the "S-Video" like input for 3D. does anyone know if i'll experience this problem too? my DLP isnt really in a place that is easy to add a second LCD screen to (as small as a 15" is). any responses would be appreciated, thanks.

OK so I finally get the work around to work with the 1.19
This opened a whole new can of worms (problems) for me
As long as i do'nt breath my sammy works even though it is showing to be in discovery mode
This driver is not locking down if I try to change displays it reverts back to discovery mode only
Having the same problem when I try getting my HD66 to work with it
Back to the 1.15 for me this driver locks down so that when you plug in a different source it will not automatically re-detect the monitor
Well back to the drawing board

assuming when i try hooking up my 3D Vision to my Samsung DLP (the kit is en route) and it doesnt work with 1.19 should i downgrade to 1.15? would that affect any of my gaming? (just want to check out the tech before i upgrade to a GF100 in the near future. running a measly 9600gt OC ... Nvidia says this card is okay to use.)

1.19 should work with the hack.
Its pretty easy actually.

It worked for me like this:

- hook up 2 displays (LCD/CRT monitor as display 1-primary), Sammy DLP as display 2 (clone of display 1).
- proceed with set up as if you are setting it up for the DLP. The DLP option was there and visual test works too (on the Sammy ofcourse...monitor doesn't show 3D).
- Switch to DLP as main monitor when done.

It goes back to 3D Vision discover but it stays in full 3D for some reason. Even when you turn 3D Stereoscopic vision off and then on later...3D stays on for me.

But yeah, if this doesnt' work for you you can always use 1.15.

Yup, and the longer Nvidia takes to correct this problem the worse it makes them look.

There are multiple 3d solutions coming out left and right. ATI just announced shutter glasses support ect..

WTF is Nvidia doing.? HURRY UP !!!

(My 3d t.v is working fine with the latest driver, just speaking on behalf of those who have to do the crappy work around.)

Resident Evil 5 looks the best out of those 3 to me...Batman is the best single player game though. You said you have the 9600 didn't you? you may want to wait on those games and start with something like...halflife 2. Results won't be pretty if you try tunning those games and you don't want to spoil the first impression.

i just got through playing the B:AA demo in "discovery" mode on my 17" LCD using crappy 3D glasses and i must say, i do enjoy the depth that it brings. cant wait to try out the real thing. thanks for the input, i wont let it discourage me if it doesnt look up to snuff. :D
