can't really blame Tridef, I've just found out that it was made for DLP TV's, not HDMI 1.4 new 3DTV's. I think the new Samsung 3D TV's LED or Plasma work with it cause they have checkerboard and interlaced 3D options which are compatible with Tridef. Noneless, Tridef doesn't work well for me, as the performance hit is huge and it doesn't play 3D with quite a few awesome games such as Batman and Just cause 2, resuming, it doesn't support DX10 or 11, only DX9, so that takes out of the compability list a good partion of new games.
I guess because Tridef is supose to work with DLP TV's it doesn't render 3D pretty well for these HDMI 1.4 3D TV's, and that might be the reason I get crapty performance even at 1280 x 720p.

I really feel for you francomg, I've actually saved up the money to buy the exact same screen you've got and i'm now sitting here waiting for word it does work, which I believe will happen.
I believe each of the tv manufactures are trying to corner the market (100 million people watch the America superbowl on TV, bet it looks great in 3D) for themselves so the idea is if you buy the tv for company A you have to buy the glasses from company A and the blueray from company A, that sort of thing.
(like the whole sony blueray vs panasonic hd I believe each manufacture is hoping to make themselves the Standard in 3D and part of that is making only their glasses and blueray player work with their screens)
If thats the case the manufactures have made it very difficult for nvidia to get 3DTV Play to work, I believe this is the reason for the delay and the issues with some screens.
Plasma is plasma, if one plasma screen is working with 3DTV Play then they all can, simple as that, but to make their tv's work only with their glasses etc their getting tricky, and that is what nvidia has to sort through.

i have the problems with 120-monitor after using 3dtv. For some reason it dont wanna switch to 3d mode.
During setup wizard it says "drivers already installed" and on the second page "usb driver is not installed". I am using 260.89. in hardware manager usb driver is from 260.63 (WHY?).
why it did not updated during 260.89? and where is separate usb driver in driver downloads?!
3dtv works anyway and i sold my 120 just now. so i dont really care. just wanna let you know.

Maybe it will help that support for your model will come a bit faster to the drivers

We are all in the same boat friend, all of us Samsung 3D Plasma owners. 3DTV Play doesn't work with our TV, not yet. I can also see the flying Nvidia logo in 3D, that's all. No games run in 3D despite TV being in 3D mode, 720p 60hz or 1080p 24hz.
I could at least watch bluray3D with 260.89 beta drivers using Power DVD 10 2213 in my Samsung 3DTV, but now that I have installed the 260.89 WHQL drivers, it doesn't work anymore. Go figure????
Don't expect the IR receiver to be bright green with 3DTV Play, since it doesn't use it to enable 3D, you just need to have the IR receiver connected to your PC so 3DTV Play will recognize it and work, but I don't think the light will be bright green like when you play 3D in a 120hz display, cause you will be using the TV's built in receiver and 3D glasses, not 3D Vision. I wasn't able to try out 3DTV Play like you, but I guess it works like that.
Once 3DTV Play works we will see the green information profile when the game starts, In haven't seem it yet.

Do we need to buy 3dtv play when it comes out, or can we continue to watch 3d blueray movies just as we can with the latest 260 drivers. I thought 3dtv play was only for gaming, which I dont care much about.
BTW I have Samsung PN50C7000 connected to a Pioneer VSX-920K and the 3d bluray movies work beautifully with powerdvd 10!!!

I guess because Tridef is supose to work with DLP TV's it doesn't render 3D pretty well for these HDMI 1.4 3D TV's, and that might be the reason I get crapty performance even at 1280 x 720p.
