I've been testing ENB setups all week, and Im still trying to
figure out the best one with quality and that will give the most FPS with 3d activated.
I not only wanna take 3d screen shots but I also wanna play the game. So
Icehancer's ENB setups which are all resource hogs aren't really ideal for me until I get a better rig.

So far I've only found two that run good for me and the 3d puts the icing on the cake as far as eye candy visuals.
This is the best I've found so far

This is the second best

Ill be testing damn near every ENB within the next week to find the most ideal visuals/performance.
Ill keep you guys posted and you guys do the same.

Oh my bad, didn't realize that it was someone else. 3 cheers for mana84. Seriously that water bug was the main reason I stopped playing GTA in 3D as much. Thanks a lot Mana84

I echo the thanks to mana84 for his GTA4 water fix - it makes a massive difference.

Shadows would be good eventually, but to be honest I have found that turning them on can chop 20FPS off the framerate depending on the quality level and scene you are in. I have an SLI setup so this does not significantly change between non-S3D and S3D (i.e. I lose the same 20FPs in either case), but single card owners might take a double hit in S3D. Game looks so good, and still looks great without shadows, so after a very short while you don't notice their absence.

I agree and also there still are shadows ingame due to the lightning engine even with shadows off.
For example looks under cars and you'll still see minor shadows.

As for FPS hit in S3D yes, I lose 15-20FPS on my single 3GB card.

I currently get 28-37 FPS @1900x1080@24hz resolution

Only mods are Road Textures by DKTronics70 which gave me a 3-7 FPS boost because they are half the size of default ones.

This is a must have especially for you all who prefer to play in 720p mode.
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?273794-Enable-FXAA-in-Dx9-Dx10-and-Dx11-Games-Now-by-some-dude!-Version-9

Inject FXAA Mod to get rid of those horrible jaggies....it makes 720P look good and makes 1080p look beautiful.

I don't see any performance decrease at all with this!

This mod will give you reflections without having to use an ENB.

So now for my 3D Build I have accomplished AntiAliasing and better reflections with no performance loss.

Ill post some new screenshots today!

What is the difference between that FXAA Mod and the FXAA integrated in the last Nvidia drivers?

No idea FXAA Mod was my only choice since Nvidia's FXAA integrated didn't want to work with 3D in GTA4 with Beta 301.24 driver on my 560M.
