I think Samsung is more interested in pushing their own proprietary 3d options now that 3d is catching on mainstream.

Honestly I would love to buy a large screen TV to use for my desktop gaming. If and when Nvidia supports full HD and 3D PlayTV at 120Hz, then I will bite. I'm just not happy to play at only 720P on a full HD set.

The 27" Asus is being delayed again for the middle of next year and meanwhile Acer might have a new 27" model as early as the beginning of 2011... The new 3D-capable monitors (expected by the end of this year, early next) from Acer will most likely be the first ones to also support HDMI 1.4a...

Even the new 3D monitors are based on LCD technology which has not been perfected yet to remove ghosting completely. It doesn't look like that the new monitors will be perfect. Why can't we have monitors based on DLP technology which does not have any ghosting?
