Mitsubishi Wd-65C10 3D vision Problem Help me please

I have Windows 7(64bit) with GTX 580 graphics card (290.53 latest driver). I was trying to use 3D vision with Mitsubishi WD-65C10 DLP 3DTV but it it was complaining that "Stereo Signal not detected" even though VESA cable was connected and 3D was ON in TV Menu. I have been using 3D vision for couple of years now, so I know how it works and it used to work with this TV also. I was not using it on this TV for some time because most of the time I play on my ASUS VG236H monitor. Yesterday I tried on this TV but I could not get it working. So I just wanted to know if I am the only one with this issue or other people are also having issues with DLP TVs. I don't understand what could be wrong. I also tried with a different stereo vesa cable and emitter and still it does not work. Dark green light on emitter never comes up and I get a red message "Stereo Signal not detected". I even tried with older drivers and still it does not work. So there must be something wrong.

Just a shot in the dark but with my projector even though the emitter should be going to dark green it doesn't. I have to hit (ctrl + t) on the keyboard and then it goes to dark green and everything is fine. Worth a shot.

He has a WD-65C10 , which from what I see, is not on the Nvidia 3D Vision supported list. So it's not a matter of plug and play, but a matter of spoofing?

Hmm as long as both the USB cable and Vesa mini din cable are plugged in from the Nvidia emitter, it should work as far as I know. You are using the Nvidia glasses with the TV correct or manufacturer glasses?
Nvidia awhile back started requiring that the USB/3D Vision driver coincide with the graphics card driver. So in other words, you have to use the newest drivers for both. You can no longer use an old USB driver with a newer graphics driver.
Also I'm unsure, but isn't it required that you use a specific HDMI port in, maybe you need to swap ports for it to be seen as a 3DTV?

Something else is going on, either hardware (the emitter is the only component I have not been able to rule out) or software. I can't imagine it's hardware since it was used sparingly before shelved in its original packaging until now and had worked previously. However, the laptop I tested the 3dvision with did not work even though it had previously and I do not think the video drivers were updated since then.

I have helped seven people to date with getting their Mits DLPs to work with 3D Vision. It's easy if you know the trick. If you want to 3D game in 1920x1080/60 native resolution under 3D Vision, I will work up a complete guide based on your TV and config. Let me know.

I have helped seven people to date with getting their Mits DLPs to work with 3D Vision. It's easy if you know the trick. If you want to 3D game in 1920x1080/60 native resolution under 3D Vision, I will work up a complete guide based on your TV and config. Let me know.

I have the same problem with a 60" Mitsubishi DLP. The 3Dvision used to work fine, hasn't been used in the better part of a year and now will not.
During the 3D vision setup wizard, it detects the transmitter and the television, but gives the red error message about the VESA cable not hooked up or the TV is not in 3D mode. The dim green will not become bright green. During the part of setup with the triangles and hexagons, pushing the on/off button will cause the message to disappear and the larger field to display all blue triangles, but the green light is still dim and the shutter glasses are still inactive.
I tried using a brand new VESA stereo cable. Did not have an extra emitter to test. I did try two different computers, one of which I knew worked previously with 3dvision, and the symptoms were identical with both machines. Like the OP, I tried downgrading drivers to no avail.
The chipsets on the two machines I am using are a GTX 460 and a 130M, both Windows 7, one 64bit, one 32bit.

I have helped seven people to date with getting their Mits DLPs to work with 3D Vision. It's easy if you know the trick. If you want to 3D game in 1920x1080/60 native resolution under 3D Vision, I will work up a complete guide based on your TV and config. Let me know.

Hate to ask this but is there anywhere I can get a VESA cable or do I need to build one? I live in Texas and have frys, micro center and radio shack. Id rather buy a pre built one but figured Id ask first.
