Shutter glasses Looking for shutter glasses
Hi!

I'm studying about how to watch a 3D film in a PC or TV. I also have to study how to send the images to the monitor.

To see the images in the PC or TV I am looking for shutter glasses.

I have read about CristalEyes (from StereoGraphics). They need some kind of Emitter to transmit infrared signals to syncrhonize the Emitter with the glasses.

Is that necessary for all kind of glasses? Or can I watch any video without an Emitter for the syncrhonization?

What is the main difference between glasses that need an Emitter and glasses that do not?

Sorry for my bad English and thanks for your answers.

Bye!

If you are only interested in 3D movies, I would go for the wireless 3D theatre for 2 for CRT TV's http://www.razor3donline.com/3dhardware.html I got the one there that is $99 from ebay for $45 and the glasses work with my PC setup as well.

The eDimensional glasses are always a good option for the PC. Much less expensive than Crystal Eyes and performance is perfectly good. A lot of people on here have those glasses.

But, what is the difference between CristalEyes and other glasses?

In the future I will need to make a movie and then play it on a PC or TV, and watch it with the shutter glasses. Won't I need an emitter? How the shutter glasses syncrhonize with the movie? Does the video card do that?

Thanks for your answers!

I bought shutter glasses from XForce3d.com last week, and they rock. 39 bucks and fast free shipping.
