Windows Media Center wants to be 3D, why? and another minor issue can I disable specific programs fr
Two minor issues, but maybe someone knows how to fix them.

I would like to leave 3D enabled all the time, but can't because when I full screen windows media center I get this ugly grid on the screen and the TV says turn on 3D mode.

My setup is half home theater DVD collection half gaming rig, so I am bouncing between them a lot and the IR sensor is up next to the 67" screen. Like I said it's minor, all I have to do is either uncheck the box or get up and hit the button. But if there a way to disable 3D in specific programs that would make things simpler.

Other minor issue I have is hard to describe. Sometimes, when starting up a game my TV flicks on and off unable to "lock" to the resolution. The game image come up for a sec or 2 then it goes black for a sec or 2, then comes back, then black again, over and over. Like the black screen you get when the TV switches inputs or resolutions, but rather than switching and "locking" on the res it just keeps flicking on and off. I have trouble shot it to the point that I know the issue comes from my receiver, I run my HDMI video out to a ASUS HDAV audio card input (True HD audio card) back out to a Yamaha AV receiver in and then out again to the TV. When I take the receiver out of the equation I never get the flick on and off thing. There are no conversion settings set on receiver, video is set to pass-through. The kicker is it works sometimes and some newer games always work. TF2, Batman AA almost always flicks on and off, while Just Cause 2, always comes right up fine. If I let if flick on and off it will usually eventually stop, but sometimes it goes on forever (well at least 5 minutes till I give up).

Again minor but maybe someone has experience the same things.
