Devil May Cry HD Collection

Ugh, I had set the 5K fix for DMC1 enabled "y7=5" instead of "y7=1", and forgot to add the second moon to the bloom presets. Besides, the game just got a 1.8GB update so I have to check what changed (fixed or broken things). I said it was the final fix, but I'll have to do some more tweaks after all :p.

Fix reuploaded. This game update changed the hash of all DMC2 and DMC3 shaders. I've also added the second moon texture to the bloom hotkey, and the 5K fix is now at its default state.

Texture pack: https://github.com/masterotaku/texture-mods/blob/master/Devil%20May%20Cry%20HD%20Collection/DMC_HD_Collection_texure_pack_v1.0.7z You have to use SpecialK (https://github.com/Kaldaien/SpecialK/releases) to load it. Make sure that the "GenerateMipmaps" option in the "dxgi.ini" file that SpecialK (as "dxgi.dll", 64 bit version) will generate is set to false, and that "Inject" is set to true. Using CompactGUI helps recover a lot of disk space because most my DMC textures are lossless dds textures.

Thanks for all the work you put in these fixes and new textures masterotaku. That one screen shows that why are these games are classics and why the old games reborn with S3D. Especially games with fancy world designs like this series really shine with S3D.

I've finished DMC3. No problems whatsoever with shadows or other elements after the fix I made in the beginning, so this game definitely doesn't need any fixing hotkey like the others. I tried to figure out why the fix for shadows and other things needs to be different in DMC1 and DMC2 depending on the scene, but after looking at constant buffers and vertex buffers for a while (and trying to do things), I haven't reached any meaningful conclusion. Tomorrow (today in my country, Wednesday, after I sleep) I'll release the fix on the blog. Changes will be an extra fixed sun texture in DMC1, 3Dmigoto 1.3.8, and some shader code change (cleaner with some less strange formulas). I'm making more DMC3 HD artwork textures, thanks to some more I found on the internet. If anyone can find a Lady (typical pose) in a transparent png, please tell me. I'll try to find a pain.net plugin to remove a gray background the best way.

Uploading texture packs while I sleep (one of them fixes a problem this port of DMC3 has). The fix (https://s3.amazonaws.com/masterotaku/Devil+May+Cry+HD+Collection/DMC_HD_Collection_3D_Vision_fix.7z) is already the final one since two hours ago. I have left the blog post almost ready for when I wake up.

Done. It's on the blog now. The link to the old texture pack won't work, by the way. I have separated it in case someone didn't want some textures. There is also a lot more content now. I'm open to requests about easy texture edits.

Hi masterotaku! I have a problem with DMC 1! A few minutes after the launch of the game, the screen freezes. Sounds are heard. The game continues. But the image remains still. DMC 2 and 3 work normally. Texture modes did not install.

They should, if you use a Special K build that loads correctly.
