ir emitter green light turns off /dell xps15/optima nvidia projector

help please

i manged to set up my new dell xps15 i7core latop
it has nvidia play installed from new
n vision kit

i have connected this to a new optima hd67n nvidia projector not hd67 ol type
this is nvidia vision version new tpye


i have just updated the geforce 435gt card from dell today

i have selected 120mhz on projector
enabled
selected sterophoni in options

screen has been selected
i have my ir emitter pluged in
drivers are in satlled

problem i am getting is the ir emitter light comes on greeen when you plug it in the usb

then it goes off

i pressed the on button
does not light up atall

only light s up for 20 secs if you plug it in

can any one help im so near to getting this working

Do you have the emitter driver installed, it's not part of the display driver.

hi yes it says sterop device driver is in satlled
when i plug it in the green light comes on
then goes off after 20 secs

i press the on off button it does nothing

using the setup it fails

this is anoying

ive got this far

i can enable steorin the nvidia controll panel and u see my projector enables 120 mhz

its just this ir emitter thats the problem

I had the same problem and I figured what's wrong...
In my case it was that 3d vision driver and nvidia graphics card driver were different versions.
You see, when you install 3d vision driver it meant for particular display driver (it reflected in the name of the installation file, e.g. NVIDIA_3D_Vision_[b]v260.99[/b]_driver.exe). Make sure that graphics card driver version matches the 3d vision driver.
Even better, download 3d vision installation CD image from downloads section and install both drivers from that image.

I had the same problem and just installed the 3D Vision USB driver again (maybe was a new version). That worked for me.
