Oil Rush 3D Trailer Awesome 3D Vision RTS Naval Game, native 3D settings!
Here is a wonderful new 3D Vision game to kill some serious time. A Command and Conquer meets Waterworld kind of game that has its own native 3D support for all types of 3D displays.
Fantastic game and the 3D is really good. Take a peek at the 3D trailer here

I just bought this game following your glowing recommendation.
What a disappointment.
NOT 3D READY AT ALL!
Yes the game has a 3D Vision option but so what the max depth is about 5% YES FIVE PERCENT! 3D is NOT good at all!
Disabling the 3D Vision option gets the depth back but the lights are broken.
What a waste of money on a game I wouldn't have usually bought.
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

It must be possible because setting graphics to low does this...

@andysonofbob Really? I noticed a slight problem on the loading splash screen (Right image is blacked out) but the game plays wonderfully well on my system. I have maxed everything out and am running Dx 11, obviously V-sync is off. Have a look at the above attached screenshots to see what I see.

I did check and there is no depth in the screenies! Unfortunately there was no way of telling that the depth was set at max. There is also no convergence shown but again still no way of telling you cannot change convergence either. Remember untweaked Crysis 2's lack of depth? Oil Rush's depth has nothing on Crysis 2is worse! Seriously.
Surely you noticed the lack of depth, even at max setting. Please don't post misleading threads like these. I know you are trying to big-up your site but who is going to trust it when you post unreliable claims like this one?
I am frustrated because I trusted this thread and wasted my money on a virtually depth free game. Not good.

Update posted on steam! Its not in the release notes but depth and convergence are back in our control :) game looks fab in 3d now. As previously mentioned the halos emitted from lights on oilrigs etc end up at screen depth. Setting to lowest details removes them so i guess its only a matter of editing the correct file.

So no different from running the game, with 3D support off, using the nVidia drivers then!
Its a start I s'pose.

The guys at Unigen are actually being quite brilliant regarding 3D, making me feel rather guilty.
Binstream, their dev guy, recently posted on their forum they plan to address stereo 3D issues in 1.03 update (to be delivered next week).
The fact that 3D has been addressed in two consecutive patches is great if you ask me. I was quite wrong to assume the 3D support was ostentatious. My bad.

Dude, my game appears to have updated but there is NO difference. Am I doing something wrong? Currently - very little depth (5-7% absolute tops) using Oilrush's drivers or great depth but 2D halos without.

From Binstream on the site, "3D Vision improvement isn't finished yet, so it wasn't included into 1.03. There are still some suggestions from NVIDIA we are working on right now."
