I had a friend with this issue, he ended up uninstalling the nvidia video and 3d drivers then running driversweeper in safe mode and reinstalling drives from the current 1.20 3d vision cd.

*edit* i see you've already been recommended this :P

Did you try running the system with a single card instead of SLI?

it's weird, I've got the same monitor and had no problems like this. try having a play with the monitor settings, actually on the monitor. I'm out of ideas, sorry. does sound like either you monitor isn't running at 120hz or your 3d vision isn't detecting the monitor properly.

acer do have a set of 3d vision drivers on their website for the monitor, but they are quite old. might be worth giving them a shot. I also tried to use their driver for the monitor but when I tried to use it windows told me that my current one is newer.
After hours of searching for a reason, my 3d vision just dont want to work!
So far i have:

-Downloaded the cdkit from the nvidia website.
-uninstalled the graphics driver.
-reinstalled using the new one dowloaded
-installed the vision part.
-set my res to 1680x1050 as stated in the guide.
-ran the setup for the glasses.

as i get to the start of the tests, the red dialogue comes up saying 'non stereo display, please reference the manual', and any setting i change wont change this.
Also on the triangle test i get the opposite effect than what its meant to be, i see one shape just less than the other, and triangle is on the left and pentagon on the
right, when its meant to be the other way. Ive tried to complete the whole thing by not being true to what i see, and i can see the images after it, but they are messed up
and not how they should be :(

My system:

Pentium i7 920
two gtx 285 2gig
ddr3 12 gig 1600mhz ram
150gig velociraptor hd
1.5tb hd
Acer GD245hq

So from what i can see, there couldnt possibly be anything wrong with these.
Tell me if theres anything else you need to know!

Please help! I just wana see what all the hype is about, and have wanted too for so long :(
Try 1900x1080 , i have aleinware 3d monitor, it is also 24". The native mode for your Acer probably is 1900x1080.I am also running 2xgtx285 in SLI, MY OS=Win7_x64_Ultimate

I'm such an idiot, he's right - up the res to 1920 x 1080! make sure you're using the dvi cable that came with the monitor.
