DarkStarSword - first, I think you are an incredibly valuable person to this community! Your world-class knowledge of matrix mathematics and photo projection are truly unique, and your innovative quest to find a more generic solution for fixes really should be funded by NVIDIA! In fact, NVIDIA should also be using some of its 2016's excess profits (stock price more than DOUBLED in 2016) to fund areas like your, bo3b's, and others new, complex work in fixing Dishonored 2... All my fix files are located with game .exe file (standard 3dmigoto installation). The green text states "This application is not rated by NVIDIA Corp. Rating: unknown". Unlike other games, this green text reappears with each game launch, also. Note that I have only encountered 2 games so far that have not worked correctly with EDID under Windows 10: XCOM2 and Lords of the Fallen (both worked with EDID under Windows 8.1, however).

Might not be installed right, but definitely not working. This uses DarkStarSword's cool new profile feature, and the green text should start with "Fixed by DarkStarSword..." The layout is slightly different for this fix, don't just drill into the folders. You need to match the folder layout of the game. Try changing the calls=1 in the d3dx.ini and see if a log file gets created. If not, the dll is not loading.

Make sure you can get it to run in 3D first, with broken effects. If you can't get that part working, something is wrong with your installation or game setup.

Thanks, bo3b. You were right - I installed fix at the wrong level. When installed at correct (lower-level) location, the fix works great! More great work, DarkStarSword. I hope NVIDIA recognizes the talent within this forum, and provides some type of on-going support to 3Dmigoto team, including the latest hardware for fix testing and outsourced R&D financial support for any/some of the creative work performed by 3Dmigoto team members...

Nvidia is getting a free ride on the talent here and it doesn't feel fair.

I played again though this amazing game with the 1.1 fix. I noticed 2 missing broken shaders. In the depths level, the smoke coming volcanic chimneys looks wrong when illuminated by the flashlight. In the "spirit palace" (the place you keep coming back to every mid-level), if you collect all the nautilus shells of the game, a special nautilus appears on top of the dome. It's lighting is broken. None are game breaker, it's just small things I noticed.

Thanks BlackSharkfr - I noticed the broken nautilus as my wife played through as well, so I've fixed that one now, as well as the the volcanic ash you spotted. v1.2 update on the blog :)

Try again now (I really don't see why AWS insists on that extra make public step and then asks to confirm it)
