3d mode activated on projector (TVplay) in 1920x1080, some driver bug?
I've quite ancient setup 6+ years old comp with core i7+GTX 580, 1st gen 3d vision kit, my current nvidia drivers are 378.92. Projector is EPSON EH-TW5350 (note: it doesn't support checkerboard so this can't be the explanation). I've Win 7 64bit and the projector is set as duplicate display. If I try to run game in 1920x1080 I get usuall message that it is not supported and should run at 720p@60Hz. So I did this with Dirt (don't think that is important) and after I was done and closed it, to my surprise, as it returned to desktop the projector stayed in 3d mode now at 1920x1080. Out of curiosity I tried to run another game (Fear, which is set up for 1920x1080) and it executed in 3D mode at 1920x1080 without any warning. I suppose it was only 24Hz since all this setup only has HDMI 1.4a and the driver probably does not support more, but still it was surprising. Anyone else experienced this? Is it normal?
