Someone please heeeeeelp! Can't enable 3d vision setup since recent windows 10 update.
Crying out for help here, pulling my hair out (what little is left) trying to get the 'enable stereoscopic 3d' function in the nvidia control panel to work. Since the recent windows 10 update completely broke that function. The problem is that selecting the checkbox takes me through the setup menus till i get to the cover each eye screen. This is where things go wrong... my screen starts flashing in and out of fullscreen and i can't read the instructions or enable anything. The bummer is that it all worked perfectly before the windows update yesterday. Does anyone have a solution?

Have you tried skipping the setup wizard ? Try that with this tool http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2015/10/advanced-3d-vision-configuration.html . Enable "3D Vision setup completed" in the Advanced tab. Also you might want to set your desktop to 120hz before running anything in 3D because Win10 tends to have problems switching to 120hz from other refresh rates.

Hi, had the same issue. I used DDU (safe mode) and installed the latest Driver (previous did not work for me). The problem you described happened again. But i forced it to quit with the task manager. After that i retried it an it worked. I also have the issue that all the DX11 games i tested with a community fix work properly but those with DX9 have issues. For instance Rocket League is in 3D Mode but is displayed 2D and the hud and text is doubled. Although the text is doubled it is not sequential, therefore you can see the doubled text with both eyes when wearing the shutter glasses. 3D-vision-ready games seem to be unaffected. Thanks for replying, I'll give it a try but I still feel the need to understand why it worked flawlessly 2 days ago but is now broken since the windows 10 update...

Most likely that Win10 update modified or updated your nVidia drivers and everything got reset in the process. Sometimes the setup wizard has problems like that which is why I always recommend skipping it entirely with that tool or with this one https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/986926/3d-vision/3d-fix-manager-application-for-installing-3d-vision-fixes-hotkey-editing-support/

For me it was the creators update. There is a separate thread with similar issues and no solution so far. Correct me if I'm wrong, really want to resolve these issues.

Thanks for the links Kaimasta, I'm going to try these out as soon as I can. Krypteris, I take it the update on my side that's causing this shit is the creators update you mentioned. I'm with you, I too would love to have these issues resolved...

@Krypteris The problem you're having with Rocket League might be a profile issue. Just checked the game's profile with nVidia Inspector and apparently a mandatory flag for making 3D work in DX9 is not enabled by default (StereoProfile needs to be set to Yes) and I'm pretty sure the DX9 3D fix doesn't enable that automatically. I'll see if I have another DX9 game to test this.
