Driver notes say 3D Vision Ready but the control panel states
3D Vision Mode 3D Compatibility Mode
Obuduction Not Recommended Excellent
Yeah it looks superb in 3d CM!
Broken in 3dvision but should look outstanding with a proper fix in 3dvision (much better than firewatch)
Damn crosshair we can't disable
Unreal 4 engine

I, personally, believe that "superb" and "3d CM" should never be used together in a same sentence. Not even in a same paragraph... ;)
To me, the Myst series is still THE bestestest experience in gaming, ever.
Ergo, I think I would be ready to make an oblation to have Obduction in real 3D. ;)
What's "CM"?
/noob
Officially, it stands for "compatibility mode" but, I think, it should rather be called "cheat mode".
Basically, it's a mode offering you small black or orange plastic spherules to eat, while trying to convince you that you are consuming caviar. ;)

I have to agree this is a very good looking 3D game for CM mode .

Don't be so hars with CM 3d. Deepth is really present and for a game like this ( where there is no gun) you probably don't notice the ghosting that much.

Well, I plead innocence!
The blameworthy are those extremely rare devs who still retain the ambition of creating real 3D experiences for people with two eyes, but mainly the fantastic people from HelixMod, without whom we would be forced to see the world(s) with an eternal eyepatch across our mugs.
In the context, the CM "solution" is throwing dust in someone's eyes. (both figuratively, and - because of its effect - almost literally)

So this game doesnt support SLI very well, getting FPS all the way down to 3fps.
On another note, turning CM off has perfect 3D object rendering, only the shadows are whats keeping this game from 3d ready status (obviously). I just know in some games that arent 3d vision compatible always have issues with both shadows and 3d objects; this game actually has the 3d objects perfectly rendered. Just the shadows need to be realigned for the sweet 3d vision bliss.
Sounds easy to say "oh its just the shadows!" I'm sure its super tedious to correct these things.

Unfortunately, shadows are often one of the hardest things to fix. I'm not sure if any Unreal 4 games have been fixed yet (which often makes subsequent games in the same engine a little easier to deal with).

Yep some games already fixed in perfect 3d by DHR (thanks to DarStarSword) like "The Park", "Kholat"...

I tried this in compatibility mode and it does look pretty good. But there are problems, water is flat, shaders and particle effects get pasted onto the geometry behind them and every object has a strange halo.
I would so love for someone to find a fix for this.
If there is someone well known in the 3d vision community who knows how to fix this stuff, I'd like to know who they are. I have a spare download key for obduction on GOG, I would be willing to donate it to someone who knows their way in making these games compatible.
