3d driving arcade coin op of the past anyone remember?
My first experience of 3d was about 20 years ago when a fair turned up in our village and they had a bunch of coin op arcade games.
There was a driving/racing game, a kind of sit in cabinet that had a visor that hung down from the roof of the cabinet.
I'm thinking it might have been pole position or something similar.
Looking back now, I understand they were shutter glasses on a sort of flexi-neck that you would pull in front of your face. I know that now because a year later when the fair came back and I made a beeline for that game it had been vandalised and I remember seeing broken wires going to the visor....the game worked but not in 3d anymore.
The effects were pretty amazing and when you crashed a tyre would fly at you with a perfect pop-out right in to your face.
Pretty crazy to think s3d was about way back then.

Did anyone else ever see/play this one?
