Did my 3D monitor just die?! pic attached, screen literally split in two
Mid gaming session my computer BSODs and when it reboots my monitor is literally split vertically down the center, with the left half working just fine and the right half completely black. I have another monitor hooked up right beside it (mirrored displays) on the same vid card and it is displaying fine, so I don't think it's a vid card issue. Different resolutions, SLI enabled/disabled, etc doesn't seem to do anything. The only thing I can't do is a 'reset to factory' because the menu is on the dead half.

Is it dead? What's my course of action? It's an Acer GD235hz, just over a year old. /wallbash.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wallbash:' />

Pull the power plug out of the back of it, count to 20 and plug it back in.
Fixed mine when it did that.

You are a God, that worked. /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I like to think that I would have figured this out at some point on my own but I have little confidence.

Is this a recurring problem for you now? How often does it happen, any ideas on what causes it?

Happened to me once across 3 monitors in over a year, so no not recurring /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
My guess it's a firmware issue, it gets into a bad state and on of the backlights doesn't power on, though god knows what causes it.
