Man i love avatar but i gotta say this movie tops my ranking if we talk about 3d experience in a movie.
I suspect this title is not even filmed in 3d as to me it looked like that sometimes but all in all really great 3d title

99% movies are converted to 3D, there is almost none Native 3D since 5 years, except animation one.
Conversion cost about 10 millions of dollars, so around 7% of the total budget of a standard US movie.
Even The Martian for example is not really Native, some scene are converted.
Anyway it is easy to find, just watch "Behind the scene/Making of" to spot 2D or 3D cameras.
If you are 3D enthusiast, then you can spot fake 3D through bad reflection on glass (not at the right place), tree leaves/branches (messed up), car optical light (never in 3D to complexe)...

Dugom. Yes i am aware of those Things. Transformers Was propably the only real 3d filmatisation last year.
And Yes you can spot the conversion quite easily. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 propably has so much computer created content it manages to pull it off. And why i say it Was propably the best experience is that is Was funny and almoust all scenes loooked like they were made like they wanted really make You feel like you Are there in the scene.

I bet that not many people know about Worlds Away: Cirque Du Soleil, which was filmed by james cameron with his proper 3d gear, it looks absolutely amazing, a must see for everyone in here.
I've yet to see the GotG titles but I do remember seeing the 3d trailer for the first one and thinking that they really pulled off a legit 3d. I should probably get them.
