Thanks for those photos, really great stuff. Never heard of the Buzludja, that is a crazy thing. Strange place to build it, strange to not maintain it so quickly after building it. Reminds me of the Metro games, with some crazy impressive architecture in disarray.

Huh, interesting. Thanks for sharing. I've been there twice now - this isn't a recreation of it in better times, but a proposal for what could be done with it. Personally I'm not a fan though - it seems to strip it of it's historical context and significance, in favour of trying to turn it into a more profitable, commercial space. While there's no way you could (or probably should) restore it to it's original state in the current political climate, it could be turned into a monument to Bulgaria and it's history, while still preserving a bit more of the original character and artistry of the place. There are some incredible mosaics there which would be a shame to lose.
