ok thanks.
I dont need a new card. Nice.
But a GeForce GTS 240 is very cheap, so what do you mean. shold I hold my 8800gtx or buy the new 240?
No. A GTS 240 will provide a very insignificant performance boost over an 8800GTX, if at all.
The 8800GTX is fine. You're obviously not going to be able to max out every game in 3D or anything, but it'll handle most things well enough. Fairly surprisingly, I can play Bioshock 2 in 3D with a single 8800GT and everything maxed out.

Alles gutt?
I have a 8800 GTS 320MB and I'm not very satisfied about my games performance. There are flicks and ghosts everywhere. I can get a reasonable result with "closed" maps, I mean, no horizon, no buildings very far, etc. The movies are ok, not perfect, but no problem. Please make a test with your old 8800GTX and compare with the new graphic card you intend to buy. If you get a better result with the new one, please make contact with me. I think I won't find your topic again...

YYYYYYeeeess. You can. My 3D wasn't working well, flicker and ghosts. I thought It was my old 8800 GTS 320mb: it was not. It was the Windows Vista: I used my 8800 with W7 and It worked perfectly: go ahead

You can download the 3D-Vision-Driver and test your gaming performance with the 3D-Vision-Discover Mode. Its the Red/Cyan Anaglyph mode.
But maybe you allready got your 3d-Monitor and glasses.

Hi Nachbar,
ich habe gelesen, dass 3D auch mit normaler 3Dbrille gehen soll, man braucht nur anderen Treiber. Das ist quatsch, oder?
Gruß Laura
