Dolphin Emulator
  1 / 2
Does anyone have a copy of the Dolphin Emulator compiled with a patch that enables 3D Vision in DirectX 11 (preferable a version 4.0 or later release)? I've scoured the web trying to find it (Chiri's patch) but all of the download links are dead now. 3D Vision works fine in DirectX 9, but I get better performance in Directx 11...especially in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Thanks.

You can use Nvidia Inspector to create a custom profile for DX11 games support. I've tested with the "Thief" profile and it worked really well with the new Dolphin 4.0.2. It worked in both Windowed/Fullscreen mode. Check out this thread if you're not sure how to use NI. https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-dolphin-4-0-working-with-nvidia-3dtv-play

I've already tried the method from the link you posted and it doesn't work for me. I also tried the Thief profile and still nothing.

The man is complaining that support is only given for rare/old games, while asking for support for an emulator that plays antique GameCube and Wii games. Here's an actual constructive idea: Instead of complaining about getting free fixes that would never exist otherwise, why don't YOU learn how to fix games and fix Dolphin for everyone? You can start here: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2014/01/learning-how-to-fix-games.html?utm_source=BP_recent Chiri also uploaded his code to the Dolphin forum that people can start with to update to latest Dolphin.

Tries to make a point by doing the same thing he says the 'offender' is doing seems legit. Try counting all the emulator threads on this forum NOT made by me and see which beats in popularity :P "YOU" do it then, is getting old. You continuously keep forgetting something. I paid money for equipment. If equipment becomes useless, what's going to happen? Tahdaaaa. Why don't you say that to everybody then. I don't have ANY fixes for the games because it deletes effects. If I wanted deleted effects, then I would have gotten a wii you (or a shield :P) You bought helix into this so don't start with the nonsense, if you wouldn't have brung it, you wouldn't have gotten it. Not gonna even mention the various bs neglected by the actual company. The funny part is, you would have never said anything in this thread if it wasn't for my comment. BTW, I'm going keep complaining as long as I wish if my money isn't giving me what I expected from a product.

Look, I have no problem you complaining about NVidia, you paid money and got shafted. We all did. My beef is you complaining about people like eqzitara doing fixes for free, and then bitching that it wasn't the game you wanted.

It's the same for 3D Vision.

We really need you guys to get these games fixed a little quicker... Could you just follow the Steam site and follow the top 10 most popular and just fix them in that order? Just let us know as you finish them. I figure you should be able to knock out at least one a day. /sarcasm

I made a post in the Dolphin forums: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-a-second-perspective-an-in-depth-history-of-stereoscopy-in-dolphin?pid=391219#pid391219 Basically, I could fix water reflections and refraction in Zelda Twilight Princess, but it had to be with the 3D Vision option disabled in Dolphin so I could use the separation and convergence variables in 3Dmigoto (they are 0 otherwise). I would be fine with that if that big geometry problem didn't happen (see the last screenshot of my post). It's something that depends on the camera position. The Zelda TP screenshots were carefully taken with the right position to not make the bug appear.

It would be VERY NICE if you are able to solve this old problem... Thanks for your efforts anyway :) There are so many great games made exclusive for the WII, where Zelda Twilight Princess stands on the top IMO.

psa: to minimize bugs, make sure you're using the real stereo 3D from the emulator settings and not the automatic 3D that nvidia magically applies
