Can't get 3D Vision to run now, at all.
I tried 3D Vision a while ago with cheap Anaglyph 3D which ran no problem - one touch, and it'd make most games into proper 3D. While neat, I decided I'd wait until I could get a full color 3D display. Recently I picked up a 3D Samsung TV, only to find that 3D Vision is now a pay for app, "3DTV Vision." I figure I'd totally give it a try and downloaded it, installed it, and tried to run the trial. The problem is.. it's just not working. Stereoscopic information isn't popping up on my Nvidia control panel, games won't enable 3D for me, and the 3D Vision folder under the start menu is completely empty. Given it worked do easily and effortlessly in the past, it's really obnoxious. Every page I can find that will take me to the drivers state the newest Nvidia drivers just include 3D with them, except, again I can't get it to show. I keep reading about the transmitter and how it's not needed if you have a 3D TV with linked glasses (I've even tried keeping them linked by working on this in God awful fake 2D-3D upgrade mode), but assume that's something to do with the hardware version. I'll gladly fork over the $40 if this actually works, but right now my trial is apparently ticking down and I can't even do anything with it. Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

It really would help if you'd list your OS, Driver version, Display model, GPU and type of connection used. Also the games that you are trying. A good idea while troubleshooting, is to disconnect all additional displays. XP or Vista? no longer supported after driver 310. Using a connection other than HDMI? Will not work with 3DTV Play(requires HDMI)

Well, that clarified things! I'm running Vista. It worked great in the past; what version driver would you recommend I roll back to until I do an OS upgrade to try this?

W7 would be the recommended upgrade, since community patches are targeted at it. W8/8.1 cause issues for some. community fixes can be found at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html Also be sure to enable convergence if you haven't done so in the past http://3dvision-blog.com/111-changing-the-convergence-level-in-3d-vision/
