I am currently playing FFXIV and that game is a mess. No 3D, No SLI, poorly optimized engine. I will probably be back to LOTRO soon if you want to group
I have got SLI working in FFXIV, and it works beautifully with 2GTX 460's..

No 3d yet tho :( :(
I am pretty sure that your SLI workaround is not netting you more FPS. I have already read about the different ways to do it (that post has been around awhile). It just splits the workload and maxes at 50% per card. It is rather unfortunate. I would recommend giving the game 6 months before purchase (even though I am playing it now). Joys of early adopting.

You can leave Post processing on if you keep your depth below 30%.
Even better!!!
You don't have to turn anything off to play lotro in 3d, I've been playing it in 3d for almost 2 years in full "Ultra-High" settings with everything enabled (usually around 50-60% depth, just because that's my preference). The only problem is the text, but that is the fault of either the game design or the 3d drivers and can't be fixed (at least until either Turbine or nvidia decides to acknowledge that the other exists. ).
