Cann't get 3d stereo to work messages when trying.
1 / 2
I had the anaglypgh working one time but now it will not work.
Here is what is happening.
I am using driver 190.62 but when i use any cd driver but 1.09 here is what i am getting.
During instillation I get " WARNING! This driver is intended for an earlier version of your graphics driver. Please obtain a later stereo driver."
Well I keep installing and when I run the discover stereo 3D I get the message " Stereo CPLAPI returned invalid video mode (1280x1440) from stereo launcher → get DefaultModeInfo"
I do not know how to get the video mode to work.
When I use the cd driver 1.09 I still get the warning message but when running 3D discover I get the message " Stereo Blit call copied half of the image, as if it did not recognize Nv_Stereo_Image_Heafer and performed a regular blit instead of stereo."
I have installed the stereo driver ( do not remeber which version).
I am using windows seven rc build 7100.
Using gtx275 and 8800gt alpha dog edition as physx card.
Like I said I got it to work one time but since then it will not.

The error is exactly what it say's, the CD Driver and the Graphics Driver need to match, For 190.62 you would need CD drivers 1.11

I would uninstall all nvidia drivers/software (maybe run a driver cleaner) and then install 1.10 stereo/driver cd (which includes 190.38 display driver) from:

did you find the solution at all?
Well yes and no.
Like I said it worked once and never again. After doing some reading I believe the t.v. has to have a refresh rate of 120mhz so i "think" this may be the problem. Which doesn't make since to me since I believe my monitor is no where near a 120mhz refresh rate.
I hooked up my regular computer monitor (a MAG 19") and it is working in anaglyph mode which is fine for me (true stereo is out of my budget right now). But the games look great for me in this mode. I love Batman Arkham Asylum and far Cry 2. But Guild Wars has too much going on it kinda hurts to play that one.
Are you using a t.v. also or computer monitor? Hope this help but I can not get it to work on my t.v..

i think i have an old crt monitor somewhere so that i can test this.
do you think they will update this to work in anaglyph mode for lcd tv's though? because i don't really want to have a bulky crt in my room all the time haha.
i could try and get it running on my projector i guess.....but that's also lcd based :S

I don't think it will be of any use reading the responses you gave but I had the "Stereo Blit bla bla" message while using different versions of 3DVision and Quadro driver (after seeing the "warning, different versions bla bla" message too).
I just installed the same exact version number of the drivers(190.62 now, if I'm not wrong) and that problem was solved.
I never saw the other error message you're talking about :)
And if it worked once, it cannot be an accident, the accident happened after it worked ;)

Well I know you said you did not read any of my responses but like I said if I use the driver and stereo from ANY of the CD packages (1.11, 1.10, 1.09) I get the invalid video mode.
Now if I just unplug my monitor from the graphic card and hook up the t.v. I get the invalid video mode. So yeah I do have a problem.
But oh well, I got it working on my 19" lcd monitor just not my 26" lcd t.v.

I forgot to mention that my Mag 19" monitor is a LCD not CRT.
That is why I can not figure out why in works on it and not my Panasonic 26" 720P .
I guess it was by some freak accident it worked the very first time.
