Hi mate
I had 8800GT and i thought that this was a card that would support 3DTV play as stated on the nvidia website but i was proven wrong. I sold it and have now purchased a GTX 470.
To all the guys in the know, I am considering buying the tridef package because I am kinda fed up of waiting and i understand that it does 2D-3D conversion really well, which i am not sure that 3DTV does.
Do you guys rate it?
Do you think its worth £30?
What are the benefits of waiting for 3DTV play?
PS I would use the 14 day trial period but for some reason it's not working.

For now i tried Iz3d (more customizable than tridef) but only Syde by side or checkerboard output is supported with 3dtv, with good results.
I think 3dtv play is intended to support 3D framepacked mode, that i imagine will be the "pure" mode for 3d.
Andrewf ...so geforce 8800 series (3d vision "ready") are not supported by 3dtv play??
Give us a final world plz!

Alright mate, I have bought tridef as well as running 3dtv play.
I have to say i really like tridef, for instance bioshock and bioshock 2 run without any of the 3d vision annomalies, dead rising 2 runs at a decent frame rate as well using tridef but there is slight problems with the 2d icons which makes it ricky to play, but much better performance than i have with 3dtv play.
Some games look much better using tridef, but then again a lot of games dont run, but it has been updated recently, the good thing is as well, no locked convergence in resident evil 5 and mafia 2.

Hi
i have tried the new beta 260.89 with my gtx460 and Samsung Plasma C6970 and it works good,i can play in 1280x720 60HZ or 1920x1080 24hz
But i cannot customize the 3d Depth with ctrl+f4 and ctrl+f3 ,in the nvidia control panel i can only aktivate and disable the 3d funktion.
Is that a problem with my tv or the beta status from driver?
I tried Resident evil 5 and Trine ,with iz3d this games looks awesome ,on 3dtv play it looks a bit worse without changing the depth.

Dave
I had 8800GT and i thought that this was a card that would support 3DTV play as stated on the nvidia website but i was proven wrong. I sold it and have now purchased a GTX 470.
To all the guys in the know, I am considering buying the tridef package because I am kinda fed up of waiting and i understand that it does 2D-3D conversion really well, which i am not sure that 3DTV does.
Do you guys rate it?
Do you think its worth £30?
What are the benefits of waiting for 3DTV play?
PS I would use the 14 day trial period but for some reason it's not working.
Cheers

Cheers

I think 3dtv play is intended to support 3D framepacked mode, that i imagine will be the "pure" mode for 3d.
Andrewf ...so geforce 8800 series (3d vision "ready") are not supported by 3dtv play??
Give us a final world plz!

How did you get IZ3d working without tridef?
And can you play the latest games with no problem?
Cheers

i have tried the new beta 260.89 with my gtx460 and Samsung Plasma C6970 and it works good,i can play in 1280x720 60HZ or 1920x1080 24hz
