Severe out of sync flickering solved (for me at least!) after about a week of frustration.
Hello. For all out there that might have had the problem of glasses not sync correctly. Basically it stuttered continiously in and out of 3D. Non usable at all. This peoblem is strickly a trasmiter/USB issue. Once you can make that usb comunicate fast and well the 3d vision will do its job.
For all that might be having this problem. I cheer for you. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
After trying everything under the world and countless windows reinstallations I solve the problem by going into the MB bios and:
1. disable all things that seemed I was not using (specially all the ones that have to do with power saving modes, with automated monitoring, fan automation, etc)
2. increase USB voltage by 0.3v
3. increase freqency of south bridge to 1GH
Not sure wich of all this fixed them and will probably not take the time to find out. Im not an PC expert!! Now Im kind of fed up with them!
I basically tried the problem from the assumption (after a week of all possible combinations!!) that the 3d vision hardware was OK but that the USB/drivers chould not deliver a coherent fast signal. So I went through the motherboard bios and identified all the variables that could: 1) interfeer with USB signals, 2) improve the UBS bridge speed.
I have not over clocked neither the 8800GT of the processor Athlon X2 5200+
My MB is a gigabyte and Im running vista 64 with 4gb ram.
PS. Apaterntly the USB in my PC is not set to high speed. Not sure if its a setting issue or the PC just dont have fast speed USB. Regardless the 3D vistion works Ok as it is. Havent had times to try games yet but the 3D pictures look good. This I could not do before.
