In last driver, live wow has now broken shadow.
When reverting back to 337.88, no problem.
Also 337.88 for Warlords of Draenor expac ==> Shadows must now be set to low
In 340.52 no param can correct the shadows.
Some shadows appears only in the left eye and not int the right eye.
( Found by closing each eye )
Use nVidia Inspector to export the profile from 337.88, then import it into the new driver. You should be able to work out how to do this with a little experimentation and research, but if you can't work it out then report back and I'll write up a quick tutorial.

My subscription is inactive atm, but in the Tauren starter area there was nothing wrong with shadows.
Is this happening all over? Or just in a specific area? Have you tried reinstalling the drivers?
I tried DX 11 and DX 9 with driver 340.52. (I do not have PhysX or GeForce Experience installed)
I comfirmed that the game client was switching between 9 and 11 by running the commend
/run message(GetCVar("gxApi") == "D3D11" and "using dx11" or "not using dx11")

I just re-installed it recently and I seemed to have notices shadow issues with DX11 on the same 340.52 driver set I am on. I am forcing the game to run in DX9 using the 64-bit client so that I can use Sweetfx. I am on Windows 8.1 and could not get it working when it was using DX11 anyway.
In short, DX9 has no issues for me in 3D using the same driver set, only DX11.

On a related note - I'd play this game again if it would be possible to fix the damn sky - drives me insane. I've posted on their forums, this forum, over the years... Is this possible to do? It's so distracting to have it in a near field. They have it at depth, just not the right depth. If you leave everything on default with no convergence and low depth, it looks right - like they locked the sky depth and nothing else for some reason...

I dont seem to be having any shadow issues, just the sky problems and some wierdness with the hud

I just got back into the game again and the sky is the only thing that bugs me.
Would be willing to gift someone a game on Steam or something if a fix can be made. I play in DX9, 64-bit so I assume Helixmod would work on that?
I think the only way that a user could do it, is via a console command. There's none that I could find for the clouds, that completely removes them.
/console SkyCloudLOD 0 helps a little.
/console ffxSpecial 0 removes screen effects, like the one in Borean Tundra along the beach in the SW corner area.
/console farclip 1500 helps with the fog obscuring the mountains around Orgrimmar. I've read that the limit is 1500 but others say it's 2100.
The macro updates as you enter it, so you can just hit the button on your bar and see the effect without having to close and reopen the macro panel.
You can see this for yourself by editing the farclip in Orgrimmar, set it to 200=real foggy.

Still running 337.50 I just noticed and I have this issue - it's not just shadows; certain textures are drawn black in one eye as well.
Also, yes you can disable clouds etc but the stars, moon, sun, and skybox in general (such as the planets in Outland) are affected so turning off the clouds doesn't do too much unfortunately.
Going to try reinstall new drivers and see what happens, then maybe revert if that doesn't work because DX9 performance is quite silly (10fps in places with dual 670s... really?)

Actually it happened many drivers ago. To play it perfect use 320 driver. I'm just afraid that with new generation of videocards (if u are going to buy it) WoW and many other games will be unplayable since we will have to install the newest driver

I did a clean install of 337.88 last night, and that fixed the game in DX11.
Just the sky now... and actually it would be nice to have the new water fixed so it doesn't have to be set to low or fair (the reflections are broken)

There appears to be zero SLI scaling in WoW, I run SLI 670's and was disappointed to find out WoW doesn't benefit at all. I tested with DX9 and DX11 2D and 3D and found barely and difference in framerates with SLI enabled or disabled.
In 2 months I'm just gonna sell the cards and go for a single 780ti. 2GB VRAM is only going to become more restrictive in the near future and there are more new releases not getting SLI profiles, plus I have a DK2 on the way and I want as little latency as possible.

Someone interested in WoW should join us to learn how.

Right now there are no 6G 780ti cards, right? Since WatchDogs uses more than 3G as an early indicator, I'd be concerned about 3G.
Also for SLI scaling, can you switch to another profile and get scaling, or is it a game bug?
