I ask a question of everyone who plays a game on 3dTV by using 3dtv play or 3d vision emitter with Nvidia video card.
Most of all, Although the state of vsync option is enabled, this problem occur.
Simply, if you want to see this kind of tearing, play Metro 2033 with dx11 mode.
Even in the video of Metro 2033 captured by fraps, I could see tearing.
So this problem is not only from Tv, but also from Nvidia card s3d rendering processing, I think.
Actually this problem affect me quite a lot.
I don't really want to avoid playing game on s3D because of some problems.
I wonder whether I'm the only man to feel this.
First, the model I'm using now is 55c8000. 46c8000 once I used had the same problem, gtx480 and gtx580, too.
It's good when i play game on dx9 with 3dtv. But when I play game on dx10 or dx11 options, it has tearing and the upper part of screen splits a little horizontally like vsync isn't working.
These phenomenon always occur everytime I drag to change the view, which doesn't occur when I don't move my mouse.
You know resolution should be either 1280 * 720 or 1920*1280 at 24hz if you are to game s3d on 3dtv.
the same problem occurs on both resolution. 1280*720 at 60hz is much better but still has the problem. Sure, the same game on dx9 works well comfortably.
In future if all games change to more than dx10, after all I cannot play those games at this rates. I will cannot but stop it.
it's quite absurd.
it's just the problem of s3d mode, not 2d.
In case of 1280*720, I feel the problem a little unless I focus cautiously on it. But 1920*1280 is serious enough to feel it immediately.
Because of the problems, I'm very dizzy when I switch the screen.
If I just play on 60hz without 3d? it's flawless.
How about you?
ps.
I've tested this problem under below conditions.
: gtx580 and gtx480, samsung 3DTV 55c8000 and 46c8000, Gforce driver 258.96,263.09,266.35, windows 7 ultimate k 64.
The result was always same.
metro 2033 , H.A.W.X2 ,lost planet 2 ,crysis warhead ,WOW catalysm, etc...
