Alright no prob. Thanks for the quick response.
What will happen if I upgrade my system to tri or quad SLI? Will it break the drivers or will 3D Vision just utilize two cards? Or will I need to manually set a 2-card SLI in the Nvidia control panel?

I have Quad and no problems.

Hmmm I doubt even if it was enabled for 3d vision that there would be any significant increase with performance for TRI or QUAD anyway. I contemplated going TRI but after doing a little research I think I'd rather SLI and have a dedicated PPU.

Why's that? To avoid micro-stutter issues?
I've been doing some research on SLI as well and it seems like some report micro-stutter issues on tri/quad SLI and some don't. I'm not sure what's different; maybe it's similar to the "I see ghosting / mine is perfect" debate.

Just a few points. Quad SLI and 3-Way SLI are supported on 3D Vision, but there is no performance improvement with those platforms. That is what we are planning to support in the future.

Well I'll be damned. I bought the glasses alright and a new samsung monitor. Then I read that this system will take a mighty toll on ones pc, cut the fps in half. So I went out and bought two gtx 295 cards. I just took it for granted that a product released by Nvidia also would emphasize owning the same companys products. Meanwhile, I guess I'll wait and shed a tear. Andrew, if you can. Tell your coding-crew to step up the work. After my purchase every friend I know are talking about getting their share of the fun and buy a kit too but I'll let them know that it just might not be a good idea just yet.

So, have you actually played anything with the 3d vision kit yet?

The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.
Andrew (or anyone who's heard any update), any ETA for quad and 3-way SLI support?
