Let us start using our steam group!
DarkStarSword is currently the king and administrator. https://steamcommunity.com/groups/3DMigoto It's a public group so anyone can join. We can sticky important threads. We can remove any unwanted threads. We can kick trolls. We should probably have a few moderators. There is always the group chat as well. This is not something I'm creating but something that already exists but isn't being used. Is this a good idea? I'm joining the group chat for now to see if anyone else want to join.

Perhaps we could also tag mods with 3Dmigoto 3D or Helixmod 3D in addition to 3D Vision, I'm sure that Nvidia likes seeing their tag on Steam

I forgot that 3DMigoto Steam group even existed. It was only ever really a placeholder though, and don't forget there is also the more general 3D Vision Gamers Steam group that has several of our members as moderators: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/3dvisiongamers

I think the group was created to make sure I didn't make up facts and basically be a dick. I'm not proud of it. That's my recollection. I didn't even know how to create a fork properly when it comes to credits. My current thoughts is that it can actually be a few moderated forums in different topics. Right now it's kind of a battle to stay on the first page on 3D Vision forum and we generally don't bump threads and there is no way to sticky threads on nvidia forum. for instance there can be a support forum where users try to help people having trouble with 3D Vision. If we keep the discussions private we will have all the lurkers join the group and we get some figure of how much 3Dmigoto is used in the wild. For me the chat is also a valuable feature as it can help people get problems solved if both persons are online at the same time. Beyond chat and forum the steam group has a lot less value. You can't have a 1on1 conversation without becoming steam friends. The general chat helps this by being open for all. As a main 3Dmigoto developer it seems fitting to have you as an admin to the 3Dmigoto steam group. If you don't want to then you should transfer leadership. I was about to create a group for 3Dmigoto when I found yours. We don't need 4 3D Vision groups on steam so I joined yours. Obviously the main sites are still the 3D Vision forum and helixmod blog.

I lost count of how many Steam groups you joined and quit, as well as how many groups you formed and disbanded. So last thing that's needed, is for you to have any control in the group. Not to mention that you kicked all of your Steam friends and zeroed your list twice. I could never understand why you would come here on the forum asking for people to join your friend list and then kick them "all". Not only once, but twice. Not a good way to make friends.

Removing people from your friends list twice is a shitty move. It's valuable to have someone on your friends list if you actually interact in any way. If you don't interact there is pretty much no point to have someone on your friends list. I have little empathy so I don't really take the other party into account. Edit: To answer why: I needed to completely clean up my friends list as it was a mess. I was probably not mentally stable as well.
