Where to find 'fresnel bezels' for TRI-SCREEN ?
Hello friends ! This topic is dedicated to 3DSurround users (like Helifax or Necropants) from this forum. These bezels permit to "mask" borders. i created a topic last year on MSI forum for these items : https://forum-fr.msi.com/index.php?topic=9992.0 but i didn't get informations :( i'd like to know if MSI released these bezels, or if there is some other items like this & similar from other producers, and where to buy it please. We see also another item like this in 'Linus Tech Tips' video : https://youtu.be/0YW_jftDJoE?t=120 Thank you a lot :)

I've only seen the Asus ones mentioned and no one in the US has them listed for sale. The MIS ones have not turned up in my searches. Hence why I said to call Asus, The ones that Linus shows are Asus https://rog.asus.com/articles/gaming-monitors/rogs-bezel-free-kit-makes-multi-monitor-setups-seamless/ I'm assuming you got that MSI pic from this article http://hitek.fr/actualite/asus-rog-bezel-free-kit-accessoire-faire-disparaitre-bordures-ecrans_15071 Which is odd because the article talks about Asus, but that pic clearly shows MSI. It's the only MSI reference that I've seen.

That might be a game changer, for my interest in 3D Surround :) It's not near perfect, but it looks like something I can learn to abstract from !

I was thinking about this and wondered if the Fresnel lenses bending the light might create a weird undesirable affect. 3D Surround/3D Vision only works in landscape mode on monitors, due to the polarization layer over the LCD panel. Thus, portrait mode is a "no go" and simply does not work. Anyhow, WTF are they waiting on, it would seem that these would be easy to mass produce and ship. Why are they not being sold yet???

In my humble opinion, this product might under deliver; perhaps it's late because of the inherent 'flaws'? Yes, although it mitigates the border in the centre, it does this by warping the surrounding image. This means that instead of having 2cm of black border like a window frame, you have a ~6cm wide border of stretched image. It might be OK for peripheral vision, but I don't think it would be amazing for direct centre sight if one looks at it directly. I have not seen them in action properly, but I think I would have trouble choosing between a 2cm hard border and a 6cm soft one. Perhaps test customers are saying the same thing?
