For Dolphin, no special config is necessary (beside choosing the DX9 Graphics Plugin).
For N64, the right plugin must be chosen as well. I tried it a long time ago, it worked. The link you referenced seems to help on this. I'm not sure which plugin to use these days. But in this thread you find info regarding this.
For PCSX2 choose the DX9 Hardware Plugin, and change the exe name to googleearth.exe. But convergence cannot be changed, I guess because it cannot be changed in Googe Earth neither.
Why PM? Let the info/help/tutorials be visible for everybody... /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I'm not sure exactly what I did, but KH2 is playing a lot more friendly now. The main problems that manifest in Kingdom Hearts 2: Final Mix+ are
1. The shadows in the left eye, if not working properly, show up as flashy lines around the ground. This happens, rarely, in the right eye as well.
2. The shadows for both eyes render in the same spot, causing some issues with depth mis-cues for your brain.
I have 0 issues other than these, and I am running PCSX2 SVN 4271 with GSDX 4313 (MSVC 16.00, SSE4.1)
I am still trying to get this to work flawlessly, and I have noticed newer beta GSDX plugins produce less errors. I find my SVN emulator/plugin downloads at EmuCR.
The more work I put in to this the better results I'm seeing - it would be WONDERFUL to get this working perfectly, kill some time before the good 3DS games start to come out.
As I have noted before, convergence is locked with the googleearth.exe name. If you find another working 3D-Vision Profile, you would likely be able to use unlocked convergence assuming that profile has it. I speculate that the same would be true for D3D9/10/11 rendering modes.
[s]edit: I would like to note that the only settings that matter when configuring PCSX2 for Stereo 3D are the GRAPHIC PLUGIN and RENDERER. Graphic Plugin should be set to GSDX, Renderer should be set inside GSDX to Direct3D9 (Hardware)

Im really curious to try this myself. Who on this thread is an expert? Can you PM me?

Edit3: Moved content that was above tutorial into above accidental post.
Edit4: This should be pretty clear right now, if there's anything more that anyone else wants please let me know.
Considering how much trouble I had configuring this myself, and how much I wanted to get it to work, I have decided that it's worth it to write this tutorial. Andrew's request for some advice (I am by no means an expert, but at least this eventually gave in to my efforts) was the deciding force in my writing of this tutorial.

SVN GSDX versions
STEP 0: Make sure you have a clean, proper installation of the latest full-CD 3D Vision drivers. 3D Vision should be enabled and configured in your NVIDIA Control Panel.
I know this may be the laziest first step ever, but:

Step 1:
Configure PCSX2 to properly work in 2D. Tutorials for this can be found on the official PCSX2 forums. This basically consists of the initial setup of picking your plugins and finding your BIOS folder. You should be able to get your BIOS from the flash drive that you used to copy it from your PS2 in the tutorial above.
Step 2:
Set the renderer in your GSDX to Direct3D9
http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/1961/gsnplugs.png
Step 3:
Save and close GSDX settings. Apply plugin changes. Accept. Close PCSX2.
Step 4:
Find your PCSX2 Directory and rename "PCSX2.exe" to "googleearth.exe" - this will allow the NVIDIA Control Panel to detect PCSX2's activity.
http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/8726/rename.png -> http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/2340/renamedr.png
Step 5:
Configure your window size in Emulation Settings -> GS Window - also configure your Aspect Ratio. (You choose your settings.)
http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/4982/setts.png/ My GSDX settings, chosen plugins, and some emulation settings.
http://img4.imageshack.us/i/setts22.png/ window size/settings.

Step 6 (Optional):
After having saved all of the above options, close your PCSX2 window and create a shortcut that will always run as administrator. Use it. (Sometimes I have issues with PCSX2 in 3D if I don't.)
Step 7:
Open PCSX2, choose your game's ISO/Drive if it is not already chosen.
Step 8:
File -> Boot (fast) [Fast does not need to be chosen, but I always choose it because if you raise the D3D Internal Resolution the PS2 home screen lags like CRAZY.]
Step 9:
After having hit "Boot", the graphic window should open. You should start to see the opening credits of your chosen loaded game. It will either be splitting around the screen, pushing to one side, or it will be split properly. If it is not split properly, change your fulcrum adjustment and out of the three one of them will work.
Step 10:
Enjoy your game in 3D now that you've done all of this nonsense. Assuming it works properly, which it probably will not :(
The attached screen capture shows my settings. You do not require the exact plugin set that I have. You do not have to copy my window settings exactly. The Clamping Mode is what removed a few of the shadow artifacts in KH2FM+ (that are in turn only there in 3D), and has caused no problems for me so that is why I have it turned all the way on.
http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/4982/setts.png
(Note that the error message in this shot was fixed after taking it - there is nothing wrong with anything in it that has to do with 3D.)
If you are playing a game that others claim to be playing with no issues, and having problems, try re-ripping your ISO if you are using the same settings and versions.
FAQS:
My emitter and shutter glasses will turn on, but there is no separation of images, how do I fix this?
You have renamed your PCSX2.exe to "googleearth.exe.exe" - remove one of the ".exe" and it should function properly.
Why can't I adjust convergence?!
You cannot adjust the convergence because PCSX2 is disguising itself as Google Earth to the NVIDIA Driver. Google Earth has locked convergence, so the NVIDIA Driver won't change it for PCSX2 named as it.

Has anyone else in this thread had experiences with PCSX2 causing nausea and headaches in 3D? It is the single application I have used in 3D that has caused these icky problems.

Most likely because you're not able to adjust convergence, so the 3D effect is not configured properly and is not pleasing to the eye. I myself don't bother to play like this... I want to be able to adjust the convergence. /sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

After some further checking, I'm pretty sure that the headaches/nausea are caused by the eyes being reversed. This would go along with this same problem happening in Google Earth (Someone else posted about a similar problem in the Google Earth thread.)
[s]Does anyone know a way to switch which eye is which?[/s]
EDIT:
Used NVIDIA Inspector to flip eyes. Solved the nausea issue. Games are now have a little bit less "pop" but they are far easier on the eyes.

After my recent new PC upgrade build, I tried Dolphin again. It still runs as slow as it did on my old machine. The 3d works and looks great but sloooow.
Any performance tweaks for Dolphin I should know about? I'd really like to play my old cube and wii games in 3d, but at full speed. I'd assume my new pc would have no problems with it, but it seems to be an emulator thing.
Time to re-bump this thread anyway. /shifty.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':shifty:' />

Well, I've got a much worse computer than you and I get okay speeds, so I'll post a small list of important settings.
DX9 Plugin
EFB Scaling - Integral
Optional (can cause glitches) - Disable CPU access
Disable Emulate Format Changes
Under "Copy" - Enable Texture
Optional - Enable Fast Accurate Texture cache (fixes some graphical glitches, but mostly unnecessary)
In advanced - Enable Display List Caching
And of course enable 3D Vision
Extras
With that processor, if you can be bothered dumping the files from your Wii, you could try enabling DSP LLE and "DSP LLE on thread" under general. Also, in the DX9 plugin, I like to force 16:9 and enable the widescreen hack, it messes with some textures but it's really nice seeing old games in proper widescreen.

Thanx for the input man! Finally got F-Zero running full speed! Man if that isn't one of the most impressive looking 3d games ever! /w00twave.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':w00twave:' />
But... Metroid still slow.. Oh well.
Also I'm using Dolphin r5331. Is there a more recent 3d vision compatible version?

All builds after r7388 should work. At some point after that they fixed the safe texture cacheing aswell.
Shame about Metroid though, it's always been one of the hardware intensive games. I'm getting a new computer soon (Sandy Bridge, GTX 570, etc) and was hoping to give that a try in 3D.

All the new builds under the Directx 9 renderer have a check box for 3D Vision. Nice implementation. Unfortunately, there is no safe way to exit Dolphin with 3D Vision without crashing the game. You either have to end emulation by alt+tab or ctrl+alt+del, and both crash emulator. If one could exit the game normally, Dolphin would be great with 3D Vision, but because of that hassle I just play Dolphin in 2D.

Figured I'd have another crack at fixing that issue. Funnily enough, at some point every hotkey but that and the screenshot button started working at some point. Nothing happens when I try to take a screenshot and when I try to quit, it crashes. You never know, might still get it.
Edit: You need to select the video window before keyboard shortcuts work, as in click on the fullscreen image, I know why but not how to cleanly fix it.

I speculate that the same would be true for D3D9/10/11 rendering modes.
edit: I would like to note that the only settings that matter when configuring PCSX2 for Stereo 3D are the GRAPHIC PLUGIN and RENDERER. Graphic Plugin should be set to GSDX, Renderer should be set inside GSDX to Direct3D9 (Hardware)
(were edits on the below post when this was included in it.)edit2: Workin' on this tutorial thingy below so others can learn to set this up.
If you want some 3d emulators with the correct plugins, you can download them from here
Enjoy!

Im really curious to try this myself. Who on this thread is an expert? Can you PM me?

Edit4: This should be pretty clear right now, if there's anything more that anyone else wants please let me know.
Considering how much trouble I had configuring this myself, and how much I wanted to get it to work, I have decided that it's worth it to write this tutorial. Andrew's request for some advice (I am by no means an expert, but at least this eventually gave in to my efforts) was the deciding force in my writing of this tutorial.

Step 4:
Find your PCSX2 Directory and rename "PCSX2.exe" to "googleearth.exe" - this will allow the NVIDIA Control Panel to detect PCSX2's activity.
http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/8726/rename.png -> http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/2340/renamedr.png
Step 5:
Configure your window size in Emulation Settings -> GS Window - also configure your Aspect Ratio. (You choose your settings.)

http://img4.imageshack.us/i/setts22.png/ window size/settings.

EDIT:
Used NVIDIA Inspector to flip eyes. Solved the nausea issue. Games are now have a little bit less "pop" but they are far easier on the eyes.

Any performance tweaks for Dolphin I should know about? I'd really like to play my old cube and wii games in 3d, but at full speed. I'd assume my new pc would have no problems with it, but it seems to be an emulator thing.
Time to re-bump this thread anyway.

3d Vision 2 w/ ASUS VG278HE Monitor
After my recent new PC upgrade build, I tried Dolphin again. It still runs as slow as it did on my old machine. The 3d works and looks great but sloooow.

Well, I've got a much worse computer than you and I get okay speeds, so I'll post a small list of important settings.
General
Enable Dual Core
Enable Idle Skipping
Lock threads to cores
Disable Panic Handlers

But... Metroid still slow.. Oh well.
Also I'm using Dolphin r5331. Is there a more recent 3d vision compatible version?

Shame about Metroid though, it's always been one of the hardware intensive games. I'm getting a new computer soon (Sandy Bridge, GTX 570, etc) and was hoping to give that a try in 3D.

Thanx for the input man! Finally got F-Zero running full speed! Man if that isn't one of the most impressive looking 3d games ever!
