Looking for guide that is all about nvidia 3d vision
I made another post about how to guide for steroscopic guide. I am now looking for a guide that tells me everything I need to know about nvidia 3d vision. how to use conversion and depth. (F3-4-5-6 and F11)

How to set up everything to get the best picture. How to use everything and seting up everything without screwing up anything else. Anyone know of anything.

There is no guide but some tips we suggest:

1) Monitor works best when it has warmed up for about 30 minutes (although you do not have to wait that long to use it)
2) Make sure no very bright light is pointing at the IR transmitter or your glasses (other than the light from the monitor of course). This can interfere with the signal.
3) The convergence is mainly a personal taste. I personally like to have a lot of pop in my 3D however some users may not like too much 3d effect. It all comes down to which setting you prefer in the end.

From experience I would say..

Don't forget to use the Dual link DVI cable supplied with the kit, I tried to be smart and just change the monitor and leave the old DVI cable in place.. FAIL !

Set-up, just install the latest drivers, run the wizard and follow the noob proof instructions, following this it's a good idea to jump in the drivers and press the 'set keyboard short cuts' button, just have a look around in here and set it up how you can remember.

Then jump into a game, try one that's known to run well in 3D to start off with [these threads could help here.. http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=165938&hl= + http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=165939&hl=]. Once you're in just play with depth first, default is usually the best quality for me verses ghosting, although some games work well with maximum depth, if you can get your head round it. Then mess with convergence until your happy with the image, for some reason I have to keep my finger down on the button for ages to adjust convergence before it starts working. If your going off the beaten track and want to play games that aren't on the 3D ready list, be prepared to make compromises in other areas [typically shadows and AA/AF].

Other things to remember are 3D requires extra brightness in most cases to combat ghosting and wearing the dark glasses, so you may have to mess with your monitor settings a bit, again though there's no right or wrong here., it's all down to user preference.

Then it's time for some freaking immersive type shizzle !!!
