snake4196 - No you can't. If you're running a 3D TV over HDMI, you can only use 1080p at 24hz, or 720p at 60hz.

Because i have both PC and Laptop but i usually play games on laptop cause my laptop is stronger and of course laptops don't have DVI ports :)

That actually complicates things quite a lot. Firstly, most laptops are not powerful enough to run newer games in 3D. Secondly, there are complications in connecting it. Some laptops won't even work with 3D Vision ... go [url=https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/571045/]here[/url] and scroll down to 'PART I.1 - LAPTOPS ONLY!!!', it's talking about mini-display ports being connected to the NVIDIA GPU but I'm pretty sure in you case it will apply to the HDMI Port and whether or not it's connected directly to the NVIDIA GPU, if it's not I'm pretty sure it's a no go. :( edit:Pirated! Lol.

This Topic sums up all what I need about the laptop thing ( I am using a MSI GT70, graphic NVidia GTX880M just like him so i will give my laptop a try) [url]https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/571045/[/url] And anyway i will still go to buy a monitor to plug in my PC. As they are pointing out, for people using a laptop the video output for the display must be routed directly off of the Nvidia GPU or 3D Vision/3DTV Play will not work. There was/is an option to use HDMI for passive interlaced displays via "Optomized for GeForce 3D" but the "officially" supported monitors are no longer being sold. Also passive displays are not very good for gaming, text can be problematic among other things. http://www.nvidia.com/object/optimized-for-geforce-3d-overview.html

I see people mention me here ^_^ So, so I decided to drop in and share some comments:

- The GTX880M that you see is on my Alienware M17x that comes with a 3D Vision 2 Screen. On this laptop I do not have Optimus nor can I swap between the GTX and the Intel GPU. I am always using the GTX880M and no Optimus is involved.

But it can DO HALF WIDTH or HALF HEIGHT SIDE-BY-SIDE frames, as other mentioned above. But, you lose either HALF width or height in pixels...so is just better if you use 720p@60hz FULL FRAMES anyway).

I have a 47 inch passive 3D TV,my 3D TV do not have a DVI port,only HDMI,my pc connect to this passive 3D TV over HDMI,I can playing game with 3DVsion use 1080p at 60Hz.

I play "Dragon Age Inquisition" with "3DTV Play" use 720p at 60Hz,use 3DMigoto fix,we must turn off AA,720p without AA,it looks like a joke!
But,I play "Dragon Age Inquisition" with "3DVision" use 1080p at 60Hz,use 3DMigoto fix,I do not need AA,1080p without AA,it looks good!

Passive TVs are Line Interleaved with each frame being 1920x540, effectively cutting the required bandwidth in half. Also your 47 inch passive TV does not support a 120Hz input.

Oh!!! I have a small question. What monitor or TV under 32 inches should i buy to just watch 3D SBS ( Side By Side) movies??? I then want to just watch SBS movies plugged from my PC to the 3D screen. I am sorry, this question shouldn't be in this topic.
