Whats the go to projector these days?
Looking at maybe getting a projector just for the hell of it, been out of 3D for a year, getting those withdrawal shakes. I take it you still have to use 3DTV Play or whatever it was called? The thing that was capped to 720p? What would be a good projector for this? Also, haven't really been into 3D for a while, reason I left it is that I felt it was pretty much dying in terms of support. Is it still worth it to get into? I hear alot of people are having trouble with newer drivers and stuff. Thanks.

Most are using the BenQ W1070 or Acer H6510BD with 3DTV Play, since they are 1080P. The W1070 comes in long and short throw versions. Newegg currently has the Acer for $499 and BenQ for $659 using promo codes from their e-mail deals.

I just picked up the BenQ W1070 about a month ago and love it! No regrets and the ironic thing is I was worried about the 720P (1280x720@60hz) and what I have found out, games in this resolution on a big screen look fantastic. Also, you can use GeDoSaTo for downsampling and there are quite a few games supported.... http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?tag=gedosato
