3DTV Play Activation not working.

Seriously, how long is it going to take NVIDIA to fix this simple issue. It has been almost a month now. How difficult can it be. They could have written a whole new activation system by now. Any update NVIDIA support?

My routine in the morning: Make a coffee, search my email for the activation code, paste it on the activation dialog. Wait. Take a sip of coffee. See the error. Be sad for another day.

Haven't they fixed it yet? Haha what a joke!?! They must have some seriously inept people working for them! It's even costing THEM money not having the activation server working. How embarrassing, they should be ashamed. Especially such a big technology company worth so much money. Nvidia think they are untouchable, it's so rude and ignorant to treat your customers like this and not keep them informed. I was joking when I said, they better have it working for windows 10 release on July 29th, in my last post. Maybe they are taking the 720p 60hz cap off for all the people who have bought a 4k TV in the last 3 years!

Wow, still not working. Nvidia is not winning my mind or heart here. I really don't want to have to use Tridef but very very soon I will be forced to get a refund. Very disappointing. I can't believe this has stayed broken this long. What a joke.

Hello, same here. I also do not get the 3D TV Play activated by connecting the IR Emitter of my 3D Vision 2 Kit. Do anybody know a solution how to get the emitter unlock the software? I made 2 screenshots an atteched them. The deinstallation Link in the window for unlocking do not work. After 1 hour nothing happed. completely deinstalling an reinstalling the driver didn't also helped for me. Try these exact steps if you already didn't for emitter: - Uninstall Nvidia Drivers, restart PC - Run DDU: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html - Restart PC - Connect IR emitter - Install Nvidia Driver with "Clean Install" option and restart.

Regards [/quote] Maybe "NVIDIA_3DTV_Play_Activation_Utility.exe" is the cause of the problem, can't say for sure, sorry. It's possible that this utility running in the background and overriting the emitter's permissions. You can check the install folder of this utility for an "uninstall" file. If there's no folder, check the Nvidia's all available folders: "Program Data", "Program Files", "Program Files x86", "C:/Nvidia" Read the below link for detailed folder and registry help (I don't have any relation with the software below, never used it. If you want to try, check Softpedia and Cnet for detailed information about the sofware): http://www.advanceduninstaller.com/NVIDIA-3DTV-Play-Activation-Utility-801f1c03aee8a74d15a2a552d8e59de8-application.htm If you successfully uninstall activation utility, try the steps again. But after uninstallation of Nvidia drivers and software don't forget to delete remaining Nvidia folders in "C:\". Then reinstall drivers. Hope this helps, good luck.

Also suffering with this and was just given the following response; Pavan: Thank you for providing the information, I would like to inform you that we are working for a fix as of now Pavan: We will keep you posted as soon as we have fixed the issue Me: ok but I can see this has been reported as early as a month ago- so how long do you think it will take to solve this and what am I supposed to do when this 4 days of trial runs out? Pavan: Sorry for any inconvenience caused. Unfortunately, we do not have an ETA for the same, but we are working towards resolving the issue Pavan: We will keep you posted, when we have a fix for it About as useful as asking for a piece of string. How can they not have sorted this after all this time!!

Meanwhile, back at the camp....... They've probably lost everyone's serials or something equally as bad and they are seeing if they can get the info back before they give up and have to give 3DTV play away for free! I'm bored of waiting, someone crack it already. Nvidia should at least make the trial period last longer until they fix it.
