EARLY WIP (ALPHA 0.01)
I am putting out a *very early* WIP for Witcher3. I have barely played the game, and the game seems to dump shaders as it goes along, so it probably only works for the early part of the game, but I will be out for over a week and thought I might as well make this available for feedback. There's lots of incorrect lighting effects still, and I disabled a couple of effects, but overall it's looking good I think. I put the HUD at constant depth - configurable via the x-param in the ini file.
Already done as I told you (I extract files on .exe directory).
At this stage I prefer CM mode as 3D depth is great and shadders and shadow work fine.
As I asked you, with my config, I didn't notice yet the improvment I expected to find in 3D normal mode with your fix. Weird.
Thank you anyway
Hello Mike,
Now that I found out how to launch 3D in 1280x720, I just compared CM and 3DV mode and want to know few things about your fix.
Is it like a helix mod fix ? I just have unrar file in .exe directory. I tried in normal mode, but didn't see any fix about shadders bugs and classical problem of 3D with lights and background renderings.
Did I miss something in installation ? Sorry to ask you a short summary :)
I'll take a guess that my current driver might well prevent your fix from working for me. It's quite obvious as to just how much time and effort both you and the team here put into these fixes. Just thought I'd express my gratitude.

Yes for sure ;)
I played 10 minuts in 3D Vision normal mode, and 60 minuts with compatibility mode. I was expected the fix solve many visual artefacts in normal (proper) 3D mode, but not... Pity it doesn' work on my system. I will wait next update, who knows ;)
FYI, I got 352.86 driver. Thank you for all your amazing effort !

3D Migoto causes an instant crash to desktop on my windows 8.1 machine.
I've spent some time using my wrapper and debugging why the shaderfixes didn't load.
I finally got it running so I'm pretty happy. Looks really good for an alpha release.
Kudos too Mike and his magic.
Managed to select the hardest difficulty and died multiple times in the first encounter.
Had to resort to an xbox controller to get a feeling to dodging.

What more can you ask for?
Where do I go to download the fix: EARLY WIP (ALPHA 0.01) from mike_ar69 ??
Sorry if this is a stupid question but I haven't seen a clear indication of the site to download from.
I'm using the latest driver: 352.86, i'm assuming the fix will work with that driver.
Thanks for any help.

Fix works fine with the new patch. It all looks now slightly sharper. But game still crashes, so no fix in this regard by the new patch. It seems this issues needs to be fixed by NVidia in a new driver.
