Unsurprisingly I'm a fan of 3d blu ray as well. D-Man has already mentioned it, but if you're in the states it is worth looking at amazon.uk and other countries.
I sometimes buy blurays from amazon.fr, as you'll find some combo packs that include 4k and 3d all in one, but they're not even available in the UK. The euro versions always have the english atmos audio etc, they just have foreign language on the box.
I've seen quite a few people complaining on avsforums that it's getting harder to buy 3d blurays from amazon.com and they're finding they have to shop abroad.

bying movies is kind of pointless. you quite never watch them again. well i buy them also, just saying we are screwd when there is no new content. On the other hand maby we go back to times like before internet when you hunt for gems LOL
i wonder the strange trend that 2d release has a atmos audio but 3d release only basic 7.1 sound.
seems to be many movies 9€/piece on cdon.com
specially the top recommendations of djkano
antman and wasp, rampage, avengers infinity wars

You'll find Atmos on 4K Blu-rays more often, but it's available on regular and 3D Blu-rays.

PlayStation Consoles will not play anything more 7.1 in 3D even if mixed in the Blu ray disk. Other players might not have this issue. I might be mistaken but this is what I read.

Yeah the audio side is a complete mess. It's like the 4k/3d combo packs I mentioned, they are few and far between, but on top of that's it's kind of ironic and stupid that as a native English speaker I have to go to a foreign website to buy them and if you read the reviews for some you'll see complaints that the Atmos mix is English only and the non-english soundtrack is not in Atmos!
Anyway, buyer beware!
I have Gravity on 3d bluray (Not Atmos) and Gravity on 2d Bluray (Atmos). I don't have a link but there are a number of guides for remuxing the streams to get 3d atmos.. Could they make it any harder for prospective customers? We just want to buy the film once. I suppose that's the problem for the studios, they want people to keep buying the same film over and over... Then they wonder why digital media is dying.

Here's an example of a multi 4k/3d pack. It might be available from other sites too. I dread to think what languages and mixes the audio is in!

Yah, not to mention the whole HDCP bullshit and HDMI handshake crap.
I love how back in the day, shit just worked without any hassles.
Now you have to have every piece of the Jigsaw Puzzle in place.
The new Wreck It Ralph breaks the Internet is Japan release only and it costs about $70 to import. F that.
Rather sad. The first one happens to be one of my all time favorites. One of the few I ripped to have a second copy of.
There used to be a couple of 3D stand alone players that offered frame sequential. I think Panasonic was one of them.
And of course some old DVD 3D players with Sensio.
Yah, it was Panasonic

"Image quality problems and blurring that were common to previous 3D systems are addressed by Frame Sequential technology which presents sharp, crisp 1920 x 1080 full-HD images to each eye"

Panasonic also supported Checkerboard Frame Sequential for Mitsubishi DLP 3D HDTVs. Effectively removing the need for the additional Mistsubishi in-line stereoscopic format converter that was required to be used with other stand alone 3D Blu-ray players.

frame sequential or packed. there is not difference in image quality. and i doubt frame sequential was ever used in 3d film format as ALL the bluray I KNOW are frame packed

Correct, only a few DVDs were actually Frame Sequential.
But Blu-rays are displayed the same no matter that the disc is Frame Packed, whichever format is ultimately output to the display for compatibility.
There are not enough frames on the disc to reach 60 per eye, so a pull down method is employed.
