I am running a Evea GTX 295. I just down loaded the 3D Vision player. I tried to view a side by side 3D trailer. When I launched the 3D vision, it said it thought it was missing a codec.
I down loaded the 3D Vision Video Player 1.4.7
Can someone tell me where to find a codec? I would like a free one if possible, but I will buy one if I need it.
I should add that I do not own a 3D vision set up - I do not have the glasses and stuff. Just the player. Is it possible to view 3D clips with out the glasses? One step at a time I guess.

Hi. Thanks for your help. I installed the K-Lite codec. MY error message says:
NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player was not able to play this file
Could Not Render all streams. Maybe a codec necessary to play this file is not installed.
You are correct, I am trying to view the Avatar trailer.
Maybe I did not install the K-Lite codec correctly?
After I down loaded it, I clicked on it, and windows said to pick a application. I picked the NVIDIA 3D Vision video player.
After that, some stuff happened (it appeared to install it self).
Now the K-LIte codec has a small 3D vision logo inside of it.
When I click on the K-Lite icon, and select Properties, it says:
Type of file: NVIDIA 3D Vision Player (.rar)
Opens With: Stereoscopic Player
I was unable to find the K lite codec when I went to the 3D Vision player. I when to
Program Files, Nvidia Corp, 3D Vision Video Player. and found the player exe file, and a bunch of language files,
but that was it.
Hopefully dreamingwake's suggestion fixed your problem. As far as installing k-lite I am unsure why you are receiving an error. When I installed it didn't give me the option to install to the 3d vision player, so I selected windows media player. I was unsure whether the 3d player would work with the codec after install, but I launched the Avatar clip and it ran without issue.
Did you install to c:...programfiles(x86) ? This is where I installed to.

This is not a video file. It's a winrar compressed archive (like a .zip file but different format).
Use either winrar official trial software or the free 7-zip to extract the video from the archive.
