Hello, new member here, found your forums by searching for help on the Make3D sofware.

Just wondering if anyone else is playing with this software?
I have submitted a support ticket to Medtron, but figured I'd post here while I await their reply.

Anyway, here's what I have submitted to Medtron and I hope I'm not "hijacking this thread". If so, my sincerest apologies.
Hello, and thanks for the great Make3D plug-in for Sony Vegas Pro 8.

I like the way the software is intuitive, i.e. step by step.

I'm using a Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 platform with Intel Core 2 Quad CPU @ 2.4GHz, 3GB RAM and Nvidea GeForce 8500GT Video Card.

I have two cameras with LEFT and RIGHT MPG videos.
The required folders/files are in the correct directories, but the software hangs trying to create the LEFT.jpg file.

I look in the LEFT folder and find my original LEFT.mpg and LEFT.wmv that Make3D creates, but no LEFT.jpg.
I've waited as long as 30 minutes, LOL, and have tried restarting the Vegas Pro 8 over and over but get stuck at that point each time.

I've read in the Make3D User Manual that this may happen, but am wondering if this an issue with Vista, or is there something else I am missing?

I have successfully (well, kind of, the frames were a little off time wise, but I was using a "click" I generated using an audio editing software package) rendered one 10 second 3D video clip so far but I don't remember doing anything different this time except using a couple of spoons to generate the "clicks".

Thanks in advance for any ideas and keep up the great work.

Sincerely,

dynamo15
Again, thanks for any and all replies...
