3D Vision Videos in Discovery - Red/Cyan Mode NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player - Discovery Mode laggy a
OK so I got a few 3D movies and some glasses and was all excited to try this temporary 3D solution out as I don't have a 3DTV yet.

Drivers... got them!
nVidia gfx setup and Test... passed

test test test...

Nothing but laggy video and digital ghosting 90% of the time. The 10% where things work for a short period look great.
I tried multiple videos all with the same results.

So I go searching for answers.
Forums... nope!
FAQ... not a thing!
Google... loads of nothing. At least nothing related to Anaglyph 3D/Discovery video playback issues.

Then through my adventures on Google. I just happened upon this page http://www.geforce.com/#/Optimize/Guides/Geforce-3D-Photos-Guide
Yes it's another page having nothing to do with the Discovery Anaglyph mode however it had a check your GPU test so I did it and was surprised by the results!

Passed nothing? WTF?!

Anyway, how do I go about finding a solution to my playback problems. Does no one else even play with the 3D Vision Discovery mode?

Some Ghosting is just normal with Anaglyph-glasses. What did you expect?

Laggy Video? For playing a FullHD-Stereo-Movie you will need a really fast Dual-Core-CPU.

The Geforce-GPU-Check: It seems that the 9100 is not supported by the 3D-Vision-Driver(Discover-Mode is based on that).

You can try IZ3D drivers (Anaglyph-Mode is free) or TriDef Software. Maybe you get a better experience with them as they are not hardware-depending that much.

Processor is a Quad Core AMD so CPU should not be a factor.

And according to Nvidia this GPU supports all current features.

Just click Specifications and see for yourself.

Also I downloaded Stereoscopic player as from what I can tell that's what the Nvidia player is based on and when trying to use hardware mode it has the same issues.
However in software mode there are no issues at all other than the fact you can only watch 5 min without buying the software!
Why should I have to pay for a feature Nvidia claims is included?
