The Corsair PSUs have Seasonic internals.. So they really do deliver the full wattage with stable rails.. So yea, you could even run a GTX 480 off of a 650 Watt Corsair.. Of course, nvidia will recommend a bit more, but that recommendation is mostly based on the fact that half of all PSUs out there are junk and don't really deliver their advertised wattage with good rail stability.

Just another vouch for the corsair 650w being fine, i run 2 gtx260's sli with a q9550 and 3 hdd's off a 600w coolermaster silent pro. The previous poster was spot on about Nvidias overrated recommendation because of cheap psu's.

the 470 needs two 6 pin connectors, the 480 needs an 8 and 6.
I have read that under maxium load this card can draw around 300watts....... so i'd reckon it would be fine, depedning on the rest of your system.
Also, i think it needs a 9 and 6 pin power connections. Not %100 on that.
This is fairly impossible, probably you read that with the GPU at full load the ENTIRE SYSTEM can draw around 300W.
Anyway, the GTX 470 requires two 6 pin supply connectors, so, every good quality PSU above 500W can handle this monster.
