Windows 10 3D for Cyberlink
  1 / 2
I have been trying very hard to scour the internet for answers to this and I think this community maybe my only hope. I have the following and it used to work on windows 7, so I know this isn't a hardware issue Windows 10 - 1803 Build Nvidia Latest Graphics Driver and tried several old drivers Cyberlink PowerDVD 17 3D TV (Sharp) used as monitor After the new windows 10 install, I can no longer toggle on the 3D mode on my PC, both in Display Settings nor in Nvidia control panel. I can not even setup the stereoscopic 3d wizard without my screen flickering and then resulting in an error message from the Nvidia control panel. Can someone please let me know what the workout for this is?

Are you having issues with Enableing 3D in NVCP or just getting 3D working in Cyberlink Program?? IF you are having issues with Cyberlink not sure what to tell you but maybe you should try Stereoscopic Player or similar.//.

I never had much luck getting any movie player to run in 3Dvision except for the stereoplayer and ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre. I think the company has since stopped selling the product but I think you probably can find the latest version of it floating around somewhere...Always hated cyberlink anyway

Let me try again. Windows 7 Nvidia latest drivers installed Nvidia control panel, switched to 1080p with 3D Sharp 3DTV would get a signal and change to 1080P with 3D mode automatically, no apps or games open, so my desktop and icons were already in 3D mode. This is the key part - it would change my TV output mode to 3D and the sharp logo (bottom of TV) would change from white, to blue to signify that it's in 3D mode. Now the problem Windows 10 Helix and NVidia CP I can go an change resolution to 1080P 3D mode and the screen flickers, causes some detaching and turns black, then it changes to 1080P with 24HZ but WIHTOUT 3D turned on. The logo continues to stay white and essentially leads me to believe that the 3D signal is not being passed to the TV. This has nothing to do really with cyberlink, I just use that as my 3D movie player, the problem is between Windows 10 and NVIDIA CP, just wondering if anyone found a work around for this item. Is there a specific driver version I should be using?

So in Nvidia Control Panel - is "Stereoscopic 3D" option enabled? If not and the Setup wizard crashes you can try to force it on with 3D Fix Manager as N3philim already stated: http://fixmanager.rentus.de/download.php I guess you use 3DTV Play? If "Stereoscopic 3D" is enabled and it still doesn't work you could try to change resolution to 720p @60hz and see if that works. Generally with each Windows 10 feature update Microsoft breaks something and we have to hope and wait until Nvidia makes things running again.

But I have a Full HD TV unofficially compatible to 3DTV Play - I have to do some testings for version 1.41 of 3D Fix Manager anyway - so I'll try this tomorrow and see if I encounter the same issues with Windows 10 v.1803 and 3DTV Play. Btw Nvidia released a new driver today - did you already try this one?

I'm sitting here with my new TV and managed pretty well to get PowerDVD 17 to work with no 3DTV Play. Usually I use my dongle/pyramid but wanted to check if everything was set for PowerDVD withoug 3DTV play. The first attempt failed due to PowerDVD having problem reading the disc. Second attempt was a success.

Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?

I posted this in other threads, but I don't come here very often so will put it here as well in case it's useful. One thing which might work, because it works for me to make Rise Of The Tomb Raider work, is to disable Windows 10 "Full Screen Optimizations". For 1803 v17134 onwards apparently this is now always on by default. To turn if off for any given application: 1. Right click on the app .exe 2. Select the "Compatibility" tab 3. Check the box that says "Disable Full Screen Optimization" 4. Save and exit

Yep, this is definitely necessary in some applications that's for sure. Also I always fall back to DDU if I start getting anything weird like this.

I'm just wondering in which circumstances this issue appears which requires to disable fullscreen optimizations. I use normal 3D Vision mode with Asus PG278Q monitor under Windows 10 v.1803 and don't have this problem. Which 3D type do you use? 3D Vision? 3DTV Play? Optimized for Geforce (passive)? Maybe I can help you out with 3D Fix Manager. I'll look if I can disable fullscreen optimization by code and if possible I add this feature to the new global display profiles I implemented for 3D Fix Manager v.1.41. By this you could disable fullscreen optimization for all games with only 1 click.
