Actually I got it to work - someone did a Source remake of it better than the one valve released. It is not Black mesa but it did work and is pretty cool. I'll see if I can find it.

HMM i know a game from -96 that works excellent in 3D, so i would not say its too old... However, i tested my hl1 (non source) in 3d and it rated it Half-Life: Day One EXCELLENT. But i have no monitor or 3d glasses so i cannot see the stereoscopic effect.

You can use the same profile as for HL2. It works very well in 3D. Just as HL2 and Portal.
The enhanced version utilizes the same source engine as HL2.
