you do that with Dual-DVI or displayport...and you do get "high definition" via Dual-DVI and displayport...(what's with this HDMI = HD myth?) http://3dvision-blog.com/tag/benq-xl2420tx/

NO. you only need a BD drive, BD movie playing software and either a Dual-DVI or displayport cable. I think XL2420T comes with Dual-DVI cable. just use that, it's old fashion and very reliable:)

yes, through Dual-DVI... BUT, no "HD" --> its native and max resolution being 1680x1050 http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-displays.html

just like I commented on your other thread; I have to add that if you just want to watch 3D BD movies, projectors are much, much (like tons better) better than LCD monitors.

then it's different! read this article carefully and thoroughly: http://3dvision-blog.com/tag/benq-xl2420tx/ you cannot just plug a BD player to a 3D vision ready monitor and expect it to work. IF you play the movie from the computer, everything is simple and painless. you need to get XL2420TX (or similar type) "...This means that the BenQ XL2420T monitor is more suitable for gaming in 120Hz 2D mode or using for stereo 3D content only with a PC, you should not get the T-only version of the monitor if you plan on using it with a PS3 in 3D or any other HDMI 1.4-based stereo 3D-capable devices, because you would not be able to. The HDMI interface present on the BenQ XL2420T monitor is 2D-capable only and you are of course not able to use 120Hz refresh rate over the HDMI, you need to use the other interfaces for the higher refresh rate. The BenQ XL2420TX is the more expensive version that comes with a built-in infrared emitter and a pair of 3D Vision 2 active shutter glasses, so you are ready to use the monitor in 3D mode over DL-DVI, DisplayPort or HDMI 1.4. "

according to the spec, yes, through HDMI 1.4 cable; providing that your BD player is 3D capable (I'm not familiar with BD player since I play BD movies from computer).
