this tv should work with nvidias 3d vision right?? Even tho its not listed on their lists??
I own this tv and i was quite disappointed when i couldn't seem to get Nvidias 3dTV play to work.
But now i'm wondering if I just buy the 3d vision kit that it will work???!!
I just want to play gw2 in 3d. Will Nvidias 3d vision 2 kit work as well??/

Edited: I looked up the wrong model
That TV is HDMI 1.4, you'll need to buy 3DTV Play. It's $40 and has a free trial
The 3D Vision kit will not work with 3DTV Play, the USB driver does not enable.
But if you have the 3D Vision emitter connected, 3DTV Play is free.

Some Mitsubishi DLPs don't actually use 3DTV Play, I have a Mitsubishi WD-65C9 (1920x1080p60 (checkerboard)) that doesn't. I have no experience with the 3D Vision (2) glasses as I only use the emitter and the vesa cable to enabled 3D Vision. I'm using DLP=Link glasses, although I've read many praises about the 3D Vision 2 glasses (kit).
This is him saying how it was set up and says wasn't working ...
I just got my 60638 today, and I haven't gotten it working yet, though it seems like it should work in principle.
I have the VESA cable plugged into the TV, and the USB cable plugged into the computer. The 3D vision setup wizard detects the display as a "generic DLP", and it seems to be displaying a 3d image during the hardware test, [s]but the glasses won't turn on[/s]. I tested the glasses on a 120Hz LCD, and everything is working fine.
[s]Anyone else had similar problems?[/s]
A post later he realizes his mistake and confirmed it is indeed working.
Just an update: my problem was with a USB extension cord sitting on the IR emitter. Once I took that out, things look great, no ghosting at all! Some games, like Just Cause 2, were almost unplayable on my 120Hz LCD due to ghosting, but the DLP looks fantastic!
You'll need either the kit, or at the very least the emitter and the vesa cable to enable 3D Vision.

No, I'm not using any mods or hacks, it is supported ... http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-displays.html click 3D Displays, Manufacturer: Mitsubishi, Size: 65".
lol, I looked there before posting and did not see it. I've only had 1 cup of coffee though, so I'm still trying to wake up :)
I would have suggested the OP override his EDID so he could use his Nvidia glasses, but I've no idea where to point him to get a proper EDID for checkerboard DLP. Roller used to PM it to people, but he disappeared. Someone needs to post one over at 3D Vision blog..., that way if a person buys the kit, they can put the glasses to use.

Switch to Columbian! Good stuff! :D
From what tokensonly said it looks like it just worked for him but he had the emitter and vesa cable hooked up it doesn't look like Talonsilver even has them.
