Installed both beta driver and RE5 Benchmark, everything is running fine. Even if RE5 has no pop-up effect whatsoever, the depht and overall sharpness is just amazing, the best i've seen so far with 3D Vision.

I just wanted to add that I only ran one test after I installed the latest beta drivers to see if that'd make popout appear, and didn't realize that I had C16XQ on. Meaning, SLI is indeed working with the benchmark now with the latest drivers. PHEW. Running it at 80fps with 16xAA in 3D now.

It is not mind blowing as I thought it would be. Also the hit in FPS is really bad in this demo. With 3d on I barely average 30fps while with it off I almost average 100 fps.

It works AMAZING!!!
I've been using it for a while now and can't post about it, but CAPCOM did an amazing job. Out of screen effects, laser sights in 3D, and the movie cutscenes will be in 3D As well!
Nice to hear and im so pumped of this game, one of the very first with 3D Vision in mind and as allways Capcom leading the way.
I cant find the proper words, a dev that only gone console before now bitch smack every other out there with their multiplattform games. looks to good to be true and as always plays like running water!
IMO the Framework engine is one of the best out there if not the best. UE3 is a damn joke on the other hand.
Capcom FTW I love yaa /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Extremly dissappointed!
The anouncement that Resident Evil supports 3D Vision was the first time I've heard about this system and so the cause why I've bought 3D Vision. I'm very satisfied with 3D Vision and very tolerating if I had to find appropriate settings for games that are not designed for 3D Vision and some even called "unplayable" with 3D.
So I thought that the support of Resident Evil for 3D Vision would mean that they would offer excellent 3D gameplay. And now this…. I CAN NOT ADJUST THE CONVERGENCE SETTINGS!!! I even changed the hotkeys several times, but it doesn`t work. So the resulting 3D gameply is flat and full of unnecessary ghosting effects. I would rate it fair but everything else than excellent because of the blocked convergence adjustment. I never had this problem in any other game before! Does "support for 3D Vision" mean: Hey, we know what the best 3D settings for this game are so keep off Your hands of adjusting convergence?!
I will definitively  not buy this game if this problem is not solved!

I cant even manage to run this in fullscreen!
It stays in the window even when i change the setting. (Alt+Enter did not help either)
It seems like it tries to go fullscreen but fail to do that.

I had a look at the 3D photos provided by Capcom. They are obviously taken with very low depth settings and corresponding convergence settings. These settings are of course adequate for "3D-beginners" and a demo. But for me (meanwhile using almost maximum settings) and many other experienced users it is not very satifying. It would be a shame if everyone is forced to use these settings in the final game by preventing individual adjustements that are available in every other game.
Why I am so upset? It is not because of this game itself (I'm not a huge fan of slaughtering zombies ;) ). It is because of the label "ready for 3D vision". If every game with this label will prevent individual adjustments then there is something going wrong... /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Perhaps off topic - but what do You think about these out of the screen effects of Sailsimulator 5? /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I expected something like that in Resident Evil...

I can see the 3D effect in DX10, but not in DX9. In DX9, the green logo lights up on the emitter but the image stays as 2D. Anyone else experiencing this?
Anyone care to share benchmark results? Here are mine on Phenom II X2 550 and GTX 275 under Windowx 7 x64:
Thanx for the results but that really tells me something only if you can post the specs to. Did you have 3D vision enabled? Everything set to high? Antialiasing?
I ran the benchmark and with everything high and just 2x antialiasing and with 3D vision enabled I didn't get no more than 30 fps on average. That's strange since I'm running a quad core qx6850 @ 3 ghz and a brand new gtx 295 card. Mobo's chipset is nvidia 680i, using 8gb of ddr2 @ 800 mhz.

The results from various people seem similar. I suspect they clamp the framerate as well as separation/conversion adjustments in the demo. Bad move but may be they have reasons: game probably not tuned well enough to let lose.
