Acer 5360 Please tell me I haven't wasted my money? Refuses to been seen with windows 7 64bit
Took the plunge, bought the acer, plugged in and ........

My windows 7 64bit installation refuses to use it, (hdmi connection) I go to nvidia panel, I can see the tick box to select the acer display, but it wont let me tick the box, if plugged in (have tried removing) i can select my other screens but it simply refuses to let me tick the acer box

If I boot into the windows 7 32bit partition, works immediatly without even having to select it, but if i go to display panel, I can select and de-select the acer?

Please don't tell me this acer is incombatible with win 7 64bit?

thanks for any help!

i'm runnin 3d vision and H5360 under w7x64 and i've had no probs. sounds like a driver issue, have you tried uninstalling all nvidia drivers and re-installing? otherwise maybe a fresh install of windows...

I had done a simple re-install, but going further running a drivesweep to remove all trace of nvidia and reinstalling fresh the drivers.

RESULT - completly cleaning the system of nvida drivers, and then doing a fresh install works - now just a matter of working out the ideal screen size, choosing a screen and enjoying

thankyou
