He y guys,
for those who know me, I have not been here in a while... I finally upgraded my PC or in the process of. I will have it ready by nxt week I hope. But I'm getting A new Monitor as well. I was at frys elecetronics and I was blown away by the 3d Vision display they had. SO now I want it!!!!
For a while i've been wanting this monitor Samsung TOC T260HD but that is no longer in production. I like this monitor cause it's a tv and Mopnitor. Exactly what I need. So i've been looking at the Samsung P2570HD which apparently is just the upgrade from then T260HD.
But now I want to do the 3D Gaming but don;t know if these monitors are compatibles...
Any advise on monitors? needs to be bigger than 24" and under $300

I don't think you'll quite find one, but you can get close. NVIDIA has a full list here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html
No wonder you find it better, tried to explain things there.
You can't expect 100% 3d experience with todays LCD displays, not even the so called 240hz TV's.
I was so disapointed with 2233rz, words can't suffice. That thing interfered with my emotions, LOL .
So you guys are saying if you are new to 3d dont buy a monitor, just save for a projector?
Are the monitors really that horrible?
No. The monitors are fine but the projector guys always trash them when anyone posts about lcds. A projector gives a larger display but you may have to sacrifice resolution and of course you need a large empty wall or a screen.

the 2nd gen ones are fine, ghosting wise, unless you look at the top a lot
on my acer, more ghosting comes from the glasses' inability to go fully opaque everywhere, than the monitor itself, once i've turned down the R G B settings a little to prevent overdrive artefacting
it is quite a dark experience though

LCD monitors will be always the "DARK 3d" . Dark 3d is not my cup of tea. Ghosting is just the icing on the cake.
Seems like these manufacturers, even cinema installers have the impression that 3d should make up for the darkness .
-THATS NOT TRUE AT ALL. THERE'S NO SUCH TRADE OFF, its a misconception , of the worst kind. Not only the imperfections going to bother you, but, if theres not enough luma (brightness) your eyes goin to have hard time extracting color information, eye is more sensitive to luma than colors. Welcome eye-strain part two!!
Come'on ... is there anyone who says that 3d should be 80% darker than 2d? Why it should be in the first place? Because of cheap*** inferior technology sold at premium price?!

"Sacrificing resolution in 3d" - what a joke. In fact I want to coin a term for this kind of pixel obsession, just like I did with "mickey mouse 3d" . Anyone wants to help?

stop imposing your opinion on others, just because you have problems with flickering or darkness w/ shutterglasses doesn't mean everyone else does
also, wtf is that in your sig about free AA, that just makes no sense, sampling more than one will take more cycles than sampling just once, always.
