See, this is what is wrong with the world these days. I point out Nvidia is charging money for a product, which everyone fully admits has problems and only works based on support by enthusiasts...and no one sees a problem with that...

Well, good luck in 20 years when things like your car only work by posting on forums for months looking for enthusiasts to help out...since obviously companies are no longer expected to support their own products.

I am sorry to know that you are having problems with your setup. However, we are too not lying when we say that 3d is working. Ghosting is a known problem, but it isn't what your problem is, your problem is crashing. Not once 3D cause crash on my setup and I am a WoW player.

Having said that, WoW crashes for some people since the expansion. Some claims that it is due to the 2Gb memory cap. However, your problem doesn't only occur on WoW, but playing movies.

You can vent all day long, but your problem won't go away. Try to clean install the driver again, and check temp or even do some stress test on your PC to see if there is something wrong.

These are not support forums, it appears some peoplr from NVidia do read them and occasionally post, but they are intended to be end user forums.

If you're seeing constant driver restarts in the event log, what you have is a TDR error.
Unfortnately these are not specific to 3D and can be a nightmare to debug, there is a stickied thread in the driver forum that goes over common issues, but it could be anything from a harware conflict, through bad hardware, or driver confilcts with seemingly unrelated hardware.
