I am having problems with Optimise for GTA 5 it keeps crashing my game, anyone got any setting to make the game run better?
My specs are
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X AM4 Processor
G.Skill TridentZ RGB DDR4 3200 32gb Ram
MSI GTX 1080 GAMING X 8GB GDDRX Graphics Card
driver version 411.63
Did anybody try GTA V in 4K 3D with the 2080ti ? It doesn't make 60 fps on my GTX 1080 so I was considering upgrading. I have like, around 40 fps average on normal to high settings. With some dips to 25. Without any shaders, I'm not even going to try that, haha.
I heard GTA V was weird in 3D and not efficient.

I played gta5 in 4k3d with a 1080ti it worked ok with turning a copule settings down. I think I uninstalled because 3d does not always activate and their is a weird blue color bug that makes everything look blue.

Yes, I think I used to have the blue tinted screen as well, but I only had that when using fullscreen, so I always use windowed borderless.

Well I'm about ready to give up playing 3D for GTA V.
The game keeps crashing after like 2 minutes of game play in 3D. Also sometimes get blue yellow color change
My Rig:
i7 930 4Ghz (yes OC is stable with Intel Burn, Prime95, Asus Real bench)
1080 Ti BE SC stock
Ram is 6Gb
I monitoed to see if this was a Ram issue but my Ram is only 75% usage at most. Vraam is 6400mb use so it shouldn't really be crashing
Any tips?

I posted in the other thread about 4K EDID info.
try this:
Ctrl + F11
Cycle frustum adjustment
Cycles between three different modes of displaying the 3D image in the viewer: Off, Stretch to fill, Clip sides. (Advanced)

What kind of crash are you getting? What is your OS?
I would try newer or older Nvidia driver. Also try to run FurMark for 30 minutes to see if your system is really stable.

OS: Windows 10
Bioshock 2 just started doing it too. Game will start, play for about 1 to 2 minutes then exit. The last known error I got was Err_gfx_D3d_INIT. Failed initialization. Please reboot and restart the game. Try reinstalling if problem persists

Is there a way to reset all your GTA settings/config file so the game doens't even know what it was set to?
I deleted my game then redownloaded it only to have it go back to the same settings I had before the uninstall
https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Grand_Theft_Auto_V
PCGamingWiki is an invaluable tool for PC gaming. Tis an easy way to find save game and config file locations, most of the time.
Try deleting the config, if it doesn't automatically repopulate. Then revarify game cache if using Steam.
I'm gonna delete config but I think a found a fix for me
I changed my DX from DX 11 to 10.1 and now not only does the game not crash but I get more frames. I'm actually hitting 45 to 50 in some areas in 3D. as opposed to 24 to 25 avg
afterburner gives me discoloration though. Is there a fix for that.
I'll attempt to see if deleting config will give me back DX 11 stability but if it doesnt, what do I lose with using DX10.1 as opposed to DX11?

Nvidia's Compatibilty mode supports dx10
