Hi,
I'm currently playing TombRaider2013, perfect in 3Dvision yet, as well as with several other games, the only issue is the crosshair focus plane, placed on the screen plane, compelling to switch off 3D vision everytime the game enters a firefight
As i've seen with Helix fixes that changing that plane is possible (Dead Space 3, i.e.), I'd like to ask whether I may do the tweak by myself, for the games where it's necessary, to have the crosshair focused at distance ... warning: I'm not an expert
thanks

If your desperate their is a couple of guys on here who might be able to help you, but only if you run TR in dx9 and to be honest if they havn't done it yet and your new to this....
But, I must stress that the developers have acknowledged this (and considering how amazing 3D is already) it will be a tiny fix at their end to get it working.
I would wait until it is likely patched in soon by the developers.

[s]It's DirectX 11 so the HeliX Mod won't work on it.[/s] Forgot about the DX9 way to run it. As far as we know there's no way to turn off the crosshair but there is a workaround that helps by putting the NVIDIA 3D laser sight into depth ... check this post out:

Have to admit, as much as the Nvidia crosshair is a godsend, I would rather wait. I hate having to turn it off in cut scenes... I know im being sensitive, but it spoils it for me. Then again, if you own this game already and have to play it, Nvidia cross-hair is the way to go.

Crosshair will only enable on right click with instructions. Use joy2key or xpadder for controller.

huge thanks!
at the price of a little fps loss, after combining the two tweakls, I am on the verge of perfection .... :-) how do I remove the Tomb Raider crosshair?
ops, is there another price? I cannot save stereo screenshots anymore........

There is a a cheat/hack to disable crosshair. http://www.cheathappens.com/17329-PC-Tomb_Raider_cheats
I think 3D4DD has it (saw pictures on 3DVISIONLIVE). May be able to ask him for it. Hopefully someone will post it since I seriously consider paying a membership to a game cheat site ridiculous.

I am losing my mind here! Been trying to get this fix to work with a x360 pad using Xpadder for almost 2 hours now!!
My problem is, after I map the left trigger to the "." period. Whenever I hold down the trigger it holds down the period key thus spamming it and triggering the laser on/off repeatedly.
I can't seem for the life of me to figure out how to make the trigger work as a on/off (press key ON HOLD, press key again ON RELEASE).
This doesn't seem possible.. yet I'm sure it is.. it's just.. impossible to figure out!
If anyone knows how to do this.. or what else I'm doing wrong.. please post here!
I want it so that it will press . when I am holding down the trigger to zoom in-game, and then press it again when I let go.. thus rendering the laser sight invisible.

I finally figured it out using Pinnacle Game Profiler (which I had already bought). I thought Xpadder would be easier somehow but Pinnacle is way more powerful and intuitive. Though it's not free.. but I guess neither is Xpadder now.
In Pinnacle I simply created a new command, on "Activated" I "press ." and on "Deactivated" I "press .".
Then I assigned that command to the left trigger and voila it works.
On a side note.. am I dreaming or.. is using the CoD World at War combined with this nvidia 3d vision laser sight actually placing the in-game crosshair where it should be?
My cross hair was 3D now... it's weird.. I was expecting the laser sight to be off to the right but it wasn't.. it was overlapping the in-game crosshair and I hunted dear and rabbits and the aim was straight on. And I was using 30% convergence and 130% strength using the registry edit.

Gratz,
Its set for max depth. Did you ever notice in some games the more you increase convergence the more it goes 2D? Its using that profile and since its not using 3D vision its stuck at max depth. If you play a helixmod game that doesnt use a dynamic crosshair the same method is used of forcing it into depth. It more or less works.
