Just got the Acer GD235hz last night and I ran into a possible problem. For those with the monitor, are you able to set the monitor refresh rate to 120hz in either the windows control panel or the Nvidia control panel and have it display correctly? I get an "Input Not Supported" message when I attempt to do this in windows and a fairly blurry picture when I attempt it in the Nvidia control panel (after closing that window though, I get the same "Input Not Supported" message). About the only refresh rate that works without problem is 60hz, with the others giving the blurry screen followed thereafter by the "Input..." message. 3D vision works and looks great, but if I am supposed to be able to view 120hz outside of gaming, it isn't working for me. I am running Windows 7 Pro and I have installed the proper monitor drivers as well (verified in Device Manager). My video card is a eVGA GTX 280. Since everything works in games, maybe its just me misunderstanding something about the monitor? Would appreciate any info/help. Thanks!

Make sure your using the dual dvi cable that came with the screen. A single dvi cable will not work and do as you describe.

Thanks for the reply! I simply swapped my existing monitor with the Acer (cables and everything), so I'll try this when I get home.

-Are the ghosting issues present in the samsung 2233 show up on the Acer ?? How noticeable are they if they are?
-Are there noticeable performance drops using 1900x1200 in 3d over 1600x1020 ????
-what are the blacks like with the monitor ???
