Just watched the trailer on Steam and it indicates at the end that it is PC Exclusive which to my way of thinking makes it an ideal candidate for being 3D ready!
Its the second video, the teaser trailer doesn't mention it but the game play trailer does.
Given theirs no console port issues it makes sense that nvidia working with FlyingWildHog could get this working very well in 3D, even if its later as a patch.
I'll definitely be buying if this is the case.
Also I couldn't find any systems specs to find out if its directx or open GL.

It's not the unreal engine. It's their own engine, and by "they" I mean ex-Cd Project Red and People Can Fly team members. Which means it'll actually be fun to play while still looking like it wasn't made in 2006.

I half expected this thread to be a joke given the title.
Setting looks interesting, the gameplay and sounds seem pretty generic though. ...and the exploding barrels... I wonder how the dialogue and story are.

Had a look on Steam, the game's available from the 14th of September. It also indicates system requires as being Direct X 9.0c, so no Open GL issues there, good news.
Only two issues so far from watching videos, the cross-hairs look very 2D in design and the other issue is possible cross talk problems with the lightning and the dark backgrounds.
It would be good if Nvidia followed up on this, but the opportunity does exist for the dev to make it 3D ready as a publicity angle. The game is after all PC exclusive so it doesn't have any console port issues in regards to objects not having 3D values to help with rendering on low spec hardware.

Watched the cynical brit vid of it on youtube. Looks pretty cool! A good mix of old-school and new. Very good graphics. I sooo want this to work well in 3d.

Just played the demo - verdict so far so good, actually very good!
First consideration, I had to set depth to 5% from my usual 50%.
First problem was on the menu screen, the panel floats compared with the rest of the scene, but the scene does render in 3D.
The in game menus however look great
And the game itself? Great actually, only had one scene where red lights weren't rendering correctly.
When looking back at the screen grabs afterwards I noticed some small lighting issues here and there, but didn't notice in game.
Very much liking the overall 'Bladerunner" look and feel to the game!
My rating based on what I've seen so far - Excellent!
EDIT - Forgot to mention the crosshairs are rendering in 3D, big bonus there!

Thanks for the screenshots. Looks like its playable, but gun seemed to be weird distance. Downloading demo atm.
Does not work for me in 3D. Ingame HUD out of place. I got 2 guns instead of one, a bigger on the left, a smaller on the right.
Many lights at wrong depth. Other than that game seems quite interesting.
I had to use about 10% depth and turn the convergence down a little bit. It's pretty high by default. Once thats done the game actually looks quite good! Crosshair is 3d! the upgrade menus in the game are incredible. I did notice that light halos and shadows render at screen depth. Not really an issue at 10% and high convergence. But if the developers were to fix those two issues, then we could adjust 3d to our likings.
It's worth it NVIDIA! This game has AWESOME written all over it!
