Really hope someone can help me with these questions I have as im a bit confused and not 100% sure what I need or have already.
I have a Samsung UE55D8000 hooked up to my pc via DVI to HDMI with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 graphics card.
I tried the free trial of 3DTV play and played a few games in 3d using my TV'S own 3D mode (side by side) which looked good.
When I played games in 720p 3D it ran perfectly but when i tried playing in 1080p 3D it had quite alot of lag to it. Obviously 1080p 3D looks so much better than 720P and thats what I want to try and get sorted.
My questions are if I buy the Nvidia IR Emitter will I then be able to play in 1080p without the lagginess? I have been reading that the emitter can do full 1080p 3d and its because I didn't have that installed that I was getting the lag?
Also do I have to have 3DTV play to be able to play 3D games on my tv ?

1. You need 3DTV to use 3D over an HDMI cable so yes, you need it.
2. HDMI can't handle full 1080p at 60Hz in 3D. You'll have to drop down to 720p or drop the refresh rate down to 24fps.

3. Better yet, use checkerboard mode so you can play 3D games in native resolution 1920x1080 at full framerate 60 Hz.
