Asus VG278H: Can we edit video on an active glass and then view the same video on a passive glass? Hi guys, I wana do some video editing. Ive recently bought a 3D camcorder and am planning to create 3D videos. I am thinking of buying the Asus Vg278H and Ive already bought the nvidia 3d vision 2 glass. My question is: If i edit videos using the active glasses? Will this video be viewable on a passive 3d tv??? Please guide me! Thanks!

You didn't need to buy the glasses, the VG278H comes with the glasses/emitter. But yes, videos can be edited on a 120hz 3d monitor, then viewed on a passive monitor.

Ya ok thanks. I wana know how many Active glasses can be connected on the Vg278h,,any idea? Also, i wana know if i wana watch a movie with my family on this monitor....can i watch using passive glasses? or should i buy 5 more active glasses which cost a lot!

Active only. Pretty sure you could have as many as you want, though they all need direct line of sight to the monitor. If you want to watch something with your family, you're better off getting a 3d tv. Oh, and next time? Post your question in ONE thread. Don't copy and paste the same post into 5 different threads.

no limit on how many pairs of glasses to use on that monitor as long as there is line of sight to the emitter. But I assume when making 3d videos, you can format the video into any type of 3d viewing. Active frampacking, side by side, over under, even anaglyph, to be viewed on any 3d device. I'm no expert or nothing, it just makes logical sense to me.
