Are you sure the CYW colors are switched off? I just got the projector but from what I've experienced so far in 3D the colors look the same only less bright.

Yes. Which is why the brightness drops so much in 120hz mode. I'm hoping that they solve this with the new projector.

So even if we supported it, you would use our glasses when connected to a PC[/quote]
that's exactly what i want. there should be an option to switch between 3dtvplay, 3d vision and 3d vision discover.

well, seems like what you want is not permitted because of the colorwheel, 6segment spinning at twice speed

...interestingly , you can enable this in the service menu, but poor wheel starts to spin up and all you see is color breakup.

Maybe it could even break. Only way to do this is LED mod, not a bad idea though.

Could you not spoof the o/s by using a H5360.inf to be able to use the nVidia 3d setup?

i tried that but sync is inverted and i get greenish ghosting.

Im considering getting this PJ for my first dive into 3D.

As far as i have been able to understand i will have to get DLP glasses but other than that i will be ok to plug it to my PC with my GTS450 card.

Is that correct?

Will this be be ok for playing in medium settings games like skyrim? Does it take double the power to run in 3D?

I dont know anyone with a 3D PJ so im really in the dark, ive been trying to read this forum for a few weeks now.

Are there other PJ you can recommend for the same price range?

Cheers,

You can only really play games on 720p 3d on a projector. Just get a 720p 3d projector.. What you really need is probably a new video card. 3D cuts fps in 1/2.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

But the Acer h5360BD is not Nvidia 3d Vision supported , does that mean no 3D in gaming, or just the nvidia glasses wont work and i will be able to play in 3d with DLP link glasses?

Cheers
