Resident Evil: Revelations

@Pirateguybrush - no idea, just played enough to mess with the cross hair... @eqzitara - my solution (attached) is basically same as yours. I basically used the code from Bioshock 1 (a bit different though) to define a rectangle around the cross-hair. What does not work for me is the DevVSConst1 = 250 thingy, so I am not able to toggle between the cross-hair being at screen or depth. No idea what I am doing wrong there. Thanks for the tip with Notepad++, I use it all the time but did not know about the search in files function :-) Anyway, I spent a bit more time tonight trying to find a depth sampler, to no avail yet. I already uninstalled. I didnt think of it. If you do dumpall does it dumpall with game? Im curious if its not the dx9settings that isnt working but if you need to change the values instead of 250's.

Dumpall definitely dumped all shaders yes, I was searching them for depth maps. Not sure I can be bothered though, fixed depth works fine for this game, which I'll likely not play anyway, my backlog is already massive...

A dynamic crosshair would be nice... but the solution provided by eqzitara helps the game immensely. I've only played the demo so far, but this is a truly stunning 3d game. an absolute delight to look at. The game itself is great as well... I have it for the 3DS, and it's wonderful. I'm looking forward to getting the full copy for the PC and playing it all the way through in 3D... on a monitor :)

Id wait a week at least. I dont ask helix what he is working on unless its an obscure title I want to do at release. Its kind of like Tomb Raider, most of us played it because we didnt think crosshairs would be fixed. But it did so we got a bit of a dilluted game. I only posted it for people on demo. I cant even confirm it still works on retail. My computer is down so you'd be out of luck if you run into something that happens later in game. Not to mention we ran into some wierd issues [mike and I] that prevented access to additional features which may work on retail. If mike is not interested in posting his version in a week Ill post this one then.

for retail version, turn on nvidia laser sight, adjust convergence to align game reticle and laser sight, you get correct crosshair. too bad the game won't render triple monitor resolutions...a no go for me.

Used to be that you could swap out the Nvidia crooshairs with user crosshairs. I'm not sure if it still works https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/503584/3d-vision/complete-replacement-set-of-lasersights-for-all-33-red-dot-holographic-sniper-crosshair-etc-/

ok. Another thing:
Wow, this should of been easiest patch... nope. Seperating crosshair had to be by coordinates = /. Im sure Helix knows a better way but if not and hes reading this, its seperated. If people want to play demo with this go ahead. Im not sure if Helix is interested in game but it basically only needs one fuction. A seperate setting for C [Scanner] or force hud shaders in depth while C is active [1] then when press C again it disables[2]. Problem is i cant get newest debug's dx9settings to work with game which I need for Scanner. I also cant change hud depth because of the "map" but that would of been an optional type thing. So basically here https://s3.amazonaws.com/HelixMods/RETEMP/shaderoverride.zip F2 Disable crosshair F3 Crosshair in depth F4 Crosshair in depth further If no one can figure it out a better solution in like week after game release Ill try to see if possible to sort out that scanner jigsaw puzzle.
Using this breaks my screen brightness. I can no longer adjust it or it won't revert back to normal after closing this game. Same thing that happens when you have 3D vision on and then go into hibernation mode (unrelated to this) and then return from it. I have to do a full restart.
