Vaporum is a modern dugeon crawler (similar to Legend of Grimrock) in a steampunk setting.

It looks beautiful and I think these kind of games benefit especially from 3D (Legend of Grimrock 1&2 were a blast).
I own the game on GOG - unfortunately 3D doesn't kick in. From what I understand it's a Unity game (ver 5.6.3)
If it's dx11 add -window-mode exclusive to the Steam Launch options or to the end of a desktop shortcut for the exe
Also add it to the Unity wishlist in this thread

Thanks! That worked, 3d kicks in now. Geometry looks good, but lights and shadows are completely off. Changing graphic options doesn't improve it. If I find out how to make 3D screenshots I will post them.
I wasn't sure if I should post it in the Unity-whishlist-thread, because it is stated the game has to be below unity ver. 5.5.

All hail 3d modders DHR, MasterOtaku, Losti, Necropants, Helifax, bo3b, mike_ar69, Flugan, DarkStarSword, 4everAwake, 3d4dd and so many more helping to keep the 3d dream alive, find their 3d fixes at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ Also check my site for spanish VR and mobile gaming news: www.gamermovil.com
alright, here are some screenshots. Unfortunately the NVIDIA screenshot key is the same as the in-game options key (which cannot be reassigned) so I could only do screenshots with the options menu visible in the center.

You can still post the game in that thread.
The Unity shaderhacker experts at the time had fixed most of the Unity Engine games and were looking for more to tackle, so they made that thread. Unity updates their Engine quite often and it seems to be somewhat of a struggle to keep up with some of the odd things they do in their coding. Plus you have developers that modify/alter it to fit their needs.
So if you want to play the game right away, try Nvidia's compatibility mode or be patient and wait for a fix that may come in a month or a year or more.
Also, since you are a new poster check out the game fixes at
http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html
I assume that you already know about helixblog, but just in case you don't
You can use either of two apps on the blog to change the default screenshot key

Hi D-Man11
Thanks for the infos. Actually I'm into 3d-gaming for quite some time so I know about the helixmod-blog but I never did any screenshots. I also had an account on this forum before, but it got lost during the Nvidia-account transition.
I made some new screenshots, using your recommendations (see below).
I tried some profiles for compatibility mode: Alien Isolation and Far Cry Primal give decent results, but I'm not really a fan of compatiblity mode. I guess I will just be patient and hope for the best - I just wanted to raise awareness for this game, as it is not well known. Maybe one of the shader hackers likes this kind of game.
