570 GTX released check it out on engadget
The cheaper version of the 580 GTX is out, the 570. There are lots of reviews linked from engadget. Looks like the performance of the 480 for a much lower price. I'm gonna get me one to go with my new Acer H5360 projector! 3D Vision here I come.

hey Ryan , sounds llike a plan. Try to score a screen like this:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000RYS8YY/?tag=mg0001-wk901-20

occasionally these can be found for cheaper too.

Because of the room size I am setup in, I'm thinking of making my own 70" screen from foam board with Behr SilverScreen paint. Got the idea from AVS forums.

thats cool, Im using silver right now, its fabric, but I can see the texture :( plus it isnt too bright either.. But I have plans going 5-10x gain already.

I'll sacrifice everything else for brightness ( focus will be off because of curved screen).

Wow, double the performance of my 285, for the same price I paid for my 285 more than a yr ago. Guess I'll have to get one. /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
