New drivers / Mitsubishi DLP
Ok, I had the 3D vision setup going PERFECTLY with my Mitsubishi WD-60738, using the earlier Nvidia drivers. I did not update the firmware on the TV for the new HDMI 1. version. I downloaded the new Nvidia drivers last night. Now my DLP will not even work as a monitor now anymore unless it is run in dual monitor mode with my non-3D lcd. My Firefox now also displays scrambled dropdown menus (yes I even made sure I had the most recent version of FF.) FF didn't start doing this until I installed the new Nvidia drivers.

I am thinking I need to go back to the old drivers.

I installed the new drivers was because I purchased some NV1 glasses from 3Dtv, that were said to be compatible with the Nvidia 3D vision setup. I didn't want to spend over $300 for more overpriced Nvidia glasses. The 3Dtv NV1 glasses work in 3D, but with an unusable dark green tint. I figured the newer drivers would fix the problem, which of course it didn't.

What is the deal with these new drivers? My Mitsubishi monitor is now officially "supported" by 3Dplay (I am guessing only if I update the TV firmware), but I am reading that I no longer use the Nvidia glasses. Well, Nvidia, would you care to refund me the purchase price of these glasses, since they are no longer supported, or send me some that will work? Can someone also explain the benefits of the 3dPlay with the lower frequency HDMI format? To me it seems like a huge step backwards when trying to play video games, since it will now only be in 720.

Right now my options seem to be to revert to the old Nvidia drivers and find different glasses that will work with my previous 3D vision setup, or do a firmware update on my TV and assume that these new NV1 glasses will somehow magically work with the 3dplay. If I do this, I am thinking I will still need a different emitter, though. I did not purchase the Mitsubishi 3D emitter or glasses because I planned on utilizing the Nvidia 3D vision setup.

Any advice?
