Fallout 4

New 359.06 driver released just now, apparently adds SLi profile for FO4. Win10 version also apparently fixes a lot of general problems. Helifax, have you considered a 3D projector? You still have All of what you mentioned are the advantages of surround but to a bigger degree, but now also eye candy as well as 60fps (120fps in 2D). The screen is projected further away so there is no need for such a high resolution as your eyes will not see it, therefore lower native resolution = far better fps. I am sure you have considered it but have personal taste. I personally find it the best solution :)

They give very large screen sizes at relatively short distances. There's a cool website which shows you projected screen size when you input distance for different brands and models: http://www.projectorcentral.com/projection-calculator.cfm

Ultra short throw is available, no idea if this could be EDID overridden to work. Pricey too. 15 inches away for a 100" diagonal screen. http://www.lg.com/us/home-video/lg-PF1000U-smart-led-projector

Hi bo3b, Does your projector have the TI 1280x800 DLP chip which is just locked to 1280x720 for "native" mode? I think some do... I have always wondered. In which case, with a little hack, you can unlock the vertical resolution from 720 to 800 in native mode both in 2D and 3D @ 120Hz. Let me know if you (or anyone else reading this) is interested in investigating... this thread probably isn't the best place for this ;-)

Hi all, I'm trying to run Fallout 4 with both 3DMigoto and ReShade/SweetFX wrappers with no luck. I have found one solution (use older 3DMigoto wrapper release with no DXGI support) which leads to endless savegame loading (but the game starts fine with SweetFX overlay visible). I'm wondering if anyone have tried this scenario successfully? Thanks!

Keep in mind that Beta patch apparently locks all mods and you might not be able to use it. I can`t confirm that so check on your own.

But, then again, I'm not using any ReShade/SweetFX.

a few things that made my game more stable: - set refresh rate to 120 (apparently game have problem with unlocked frame rate) and try to set iPresentInterval= 1 or 0. I have it set to "1" (opposite to suggested with fix). - mark "Screen Space Reflections" in Game Launcher. Have no idea why but a lot of people in main Forum found this related to stability issues - so I have it "on". - try to keep some highest possible frame rate - game does some day time calculation based on that and crash if it is too low at some point. I have no idea what that means - been suggested by others. - if game perform well and after hours of perfect stability suddenly starting to crash without any changes being made - you have to reinstall gpu drivers (DDU) or even reinstall game. Single Drivers wipe worked for me. - don`t use any mods or visual improvements. I know that lot of you don`t have this problems so you can ignore that but I had a lot of it so I was looking through other Forums and those were most common suggestions I found. Remember - they all worked for me so I don`t know which is actually the main reason to keep my game stable but now I have at least 2-3 hours of stable gameplay in the open (no crashes inside).
