Yea the increasing DRM measures can suck at times, but most of the time I just shrug my shoulders and move on. DRM is here to stay, lets just hope it stays as unintrusive as a possible. PC Games in 2025 = "Please Scan Retina For DRM Authorization."

So no one has picked up the game yet though? I was really hoping for some good news.

Sad to say that will only affect legitimate buyers since someone will always find away around the DRM :(

I plan on downloading this when I get home from work tonight, so I'll prob post some results later.[/quote]
Im only getting 30% usage on each card. Gonna play some more right now.

EDIT: Disabling SLI works. Im now getting 40fps in the same settings with just one card.

Agreed, I have a pretty solid connection, but I'm damned if I'm playing SP games online, I've never illegally down loaded a game in my life, nor would I want to, but I'd rather deprive myself of the best game in the history of games than buy into this backward thinking attempt at anti-piracy.

Thats just ridiculous, why is not new games supporting 3d vision? I almost regret getting my glasses when so few games are supporting it properly.

I think that there is already a lot of good games for 3D Vision. Last game I played was Metro 2033, excellent and now Just Cause 2, also excellent.

And some games I am playing without 3D Vision (Mass Effect 2).

Things are working nicely, Nvidia is quite generous company, that they give for free. iz3d driver costs money.

Because it is a feature for a niche group that is not worth the time and money to some devs. While it would be nice I don't blame them.

It's such a shame that the shadows and reflections are wrong. I've been swamped at work so I pushed back buying this till the weekend, but it looks like I might wait for now. Hopefully a profile can alieviate at least the 2d crosshair issue.

I managed to get the game to look really good.

First u need to change the conversion (Ctrl + F5/F6) until you line everything up properly.

Then change SHADOWS=TRUE to SHADOWS=FALSE in below path.
(As you can see i use the steam version)
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\tom clancy's splinter cell conviction\src\system/conviction

The only thing that needs fixing now is the crosshair - othervise it look pretty nice :)

You beat me to it,I just wanted to post the same thing...

If you start the game, turn down depth to 5%.
Then change converce till you can see read the lines in the menu...
The higher the converence the better the crosshair and game looks, but if you go to high you cannot read the menu very well.
Just experimentate with this....,but keep the depth as low as possible.
Also,if you turn everything to high ,shading pop-ups show up,and alley's and part of the sreens turns black (lights going out)..a really strange effect.

I got a pretty good setting with people pop out of my screen !

b.t.w also turn off Dynamic Ambient Occlusion !
