Tritton AX Pro: Precision Gaming Headset - 3D Glasses
Im looking into getting the Tritton AX Pro: Precision Gaming Headset with Dolby 5.1 True Surround Sound (PS3/Xbox 360/PC/Mac)

link to product: My linkhttp://www.amazon.co.uk/Tritton-AX-Pro-Precision-Surround/dp/B0017IUFAE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1297620789&sr=8-1

I don't own any headphones but imagine the the 3D glasses wouldn't sit conformably with headphones, especially some as large as the Trittons

does anyone wear headphone with vision? -

I was thinking of modifying my spare vision glasses to work, maybe attaching the the headphone permanently, but after a more carefull think - thinking this might be a waste of time

any ideas or feedback ?

Tritton headsets are typically considered not worth it when the Logitech G35 is 10$ more and considered the best headset for the money right now. I know because i am currently attempting to buy a headset and have done a tonne of research on a lot of them. Furthermore, they are owned by MadCatz, and have a lot of complaints about poor construction.

I have a different model Tritton, AX360, that is Dolby 5.1 and when I wear them I tilt the headphones back enough, so that I can wear the 3D Vision glasses. Mine have rounded cups and are large enough to allow me to tilt them and still feel comfortable. I am not sure how those squared-off cups would fit when you tilt it though.

I have a set of circumaural I where and I can make it work, but it's less than ideal.
Mine have enough rotation in them to be able to wear them with the glasses, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

I've actually got the ones you want, and they work fine with 3d Vision. I just put the parts of the glasses that typically go over the ears over the earcovers (I don't know what to call them, heh) and angle the glasses down and it's fine.

I wouldn't say it's uncomfortable, but I still prefer to use my speakers.

Thanks all for your responses - Makr, when you say you prefer your speakers, is that just when gaming with 3dvision, or are you saying the headphones aren't that great and prefer your speakers at all times?

Well, I typically prefer speakers when nobody else is home.

It's slightly inconvenient in my experience to use the glasses with them (especially if you're charging at the same time and you have to get up or something), but it's not really a huge deal. It's worth the somewhat weird glasses position to use those headphones over regular small stereo ones.

The headphones do sound great, but it's probably fair to echo what the others said about build quality. About half a year after buying them, the microphone no longer works. Then I sometimes have to fiddle with the Realtek driver to get it to recognize the center channel, but that's probably not the headphones' fault.

I have used quite a few different headsets but, the best resource I found to get an impartial view on them can be found at http://www.gamingheadsetreport.com
