Afaik it doesn't work if you have the traditionel setup, 3D Vision + 3D monitor!
And that's a real shame, because Zig claims it to be superior to CM regarding haloing etc :/
Superdepth 3D is far better then CM but it designed to work with a 3DTV Helifax new fixes are SuperDepth 3D modify to work with 3D Vision.
Also if you can't get a depth map with SuperDepth 3D you must go into the properties of Reshade under DX11 and copy the buffer.
Yeah - and I'm really looking forward to that..
But it would be amazing if someone (Helifax?:) could make an universal 3D Vision version of SuperDepht though, as the majority in here has a monitor Afaik, and there are so many great games that could benefit from that!
That is something that I wanted to do honestly for some time. I did it with my OGL wrapper, but I bet we can also do it for 3DMigoto. I just need to grab some "free time" to try this out;)

CM is actually playable in some games, but if rumors are true, this is far superior...
Has anyone have success with super depth 3D with exclusive Microsoft store games (win 10)?
Hi
I am looking to get either a lg oled 65e6v or a 55c6v for 4K 3D.
Can anyone suggest which would be a better option please?
I am also keen to use Superdepth 3D which I believe will work well with either of these tv’s.

Are there existing steps to do this? I have several games where the depth buffer is unavailable (all white or all black).
I'm a huge fan of 3D. I used to download the 3D fix files from the helixmod website but now I just use the 3D Fix Manager program because I assume all 3D fixes added to helixmod's site get added to 3D Fix Manager...
My question is with regards to Superdepth 3D. If I understand correctly, it's "fake 3D, like a version of Nvidia's "Compatibility Mode" and ATI's/AMD's "Power3d" but apparently gives a better result. The thing is, I know nothing about coding, messing with shaders, messing with that Migoto 3D file/program thingy or whatever. So how does your average user use Superdepth 3D? Is there an on/off button for it included in a utility? Is it, or will it, be included in the 3D Fix Manager program as maybe a toggle switch (select either Nvidia 3D, Compatibility Mode, or SuperDepth 3D)? Etc. etc.
I also thought I read once that Superdepth 3D doesn't work with regular Nvidia 3D Vision but only with that other Nvidia 3D version made for non-Nvidia 3D Vision 3D displays (I think it's called 3DPlay?)? Is this true?

SuperDepth3D is a separate solution from nVidia's (3DVision/3DTVPlay) and isn't directly affected by 3D Fix Manager or 3DVision. It's not at all a part of nVidia's 3D solution, it's just similar to their "Compatibility Mode" for 3DVision and TriDef's "Power3D".
SuperDepth3D is a part of ReShade, which is more or less a plugin that lets you customize graphics effects in your games. With ReShade you can turn effects on and off via a lightweight GUI that's accessible from within the game. You can do things like add film grain, override color properties, add anti-aliasing or sharpening, etc. In addition to that, you can can also enable a fake 3D Side-by-side output (SuperDepth3D) comparable to 3DVision's compatibility mode. It's one of the 'effects' you can turn on or off.
Since it isn't controlled by any Helixmod fixes or anything like that, it's independent of 3D Fix Manager. You use the ReShade installer to add the 'effects suite' to a particular game. Then while in game, you use the ReShade control panel to tweak the effects and options, including SuperDepth3D.
Earlier I mentioned that it's not "directly affected" by 3DVision, but there are typically conflicts when mixing these mods/injectors. Most of these solutions involve hooking/injecting code into the running game and if you have two different 3D solutions doing that at once, it won't work out well. For instance, I can't run a game with TriDef successfully for a game that has an active HelixMod fix. I have to disable the fix first.
You also might have to completely disable or uninstall the Helixmod fix before using SuperDepth3D for a game. I'm not 100% sure. Maybe someone else can clarify that.

Under Reshade menu options go to DX11 and copy the buffer.
Which games ?
thanks for explaining, I was using an older version of reshade that did not have the DX11 tab thus my confusion. So I have been testing out superdepth on several games with varying degrees of success..
NBA2k19 - offline this is one of the best results I get with superdepth, real good depth and covergence and the haloing is tolerable. Only problem is I only play this game online co-op with friends. as soon as we get to the screen to select our players, the screen image starts jumping every second or so which makes it unplayable. Like the whole screen moves real fast to the right and then resets, if I lower the near setting all the way down to 1 the issue will go away - but then the image is too flat and not worth using.
Ghost Recon Wildlands - I can get this working fine, but as soon as any friends join my session the 3D reverts to 2D. I assume this is some kind of anti-cheat measure, is there any way around this? is it just locking the depth map from being used at this point?
AC Odyssey - working fine since not a co-op game, can't push depth too far or haloing blur gets too oppressive. Using interlaced so I can have HDR active, this game is truly amazing looking. Too bad ubisoft engines are so S3D unfriendly, because this game would look mindblowing in true 3D!
So I guess my big question is, can anything be done to get this to work in online co-op games? googling the issue I found depth map unlockers, but not sure if thats what I would need (looked kind of shady). or is superdepth strictly for offline single player games...?
