Hallo,
i have just bought a new 3D Monitor and a Nvidia Geforce 660ti to play games in 3D. I have now tried to aktivate it for 2 days and feel like i have read through the whole internet to solve the Problem but nothing works. I am missing the Stereoscopic 3D Menue in the Nvidia Control pannel and no matter which driver i install it does not appear. I tried manual deinstallation of all drivers, clean installation through the driver install menue and manual installation of the drivers. Nothing works. I dont know what to do and after two days and much time spend i hope i will get some help here.
But please no advice of new driver installation etc...i think in 2 days i have restarted my PC about 50 times and installed all kind of drivers. Anyone has a solution?
Pls help...

Support fot 3D Vision/3DTV Play users with Vista was dropped with driver 313. So you might have to upgrade your operating system if your GPU ID was not in a driver prior to that. Also the display ID may not be included with any of the earlier drivers, I'm not sure when it released.
Connection needs to be via Dual Link DVI-D for that monitor. I think you can use Display port as well, but DP may require a 670.

If your GPU ID is not in an earlier driver and it doesn't support your GPU, you can add your device id into the driver. Your GPU uses the same chip as some other GPUs. so it would work but not be necessarily optomized.
If you want to do this, look in the Geforce Drivers subthread, where some guys are using earlier drivers for their newly released 780s due to stability issues with the only current working driver for their card.
But your display id driver might not be in an earlier driver, check the driver patch notes to see when it was added. It is kinda necessary since it will have a shutter sync profile for the glasses.

Hi CreeD1982.
I have Vista and a GTX 660 Ti too. The 3D Vision Option was also missing in my Control pannel, but this helped for me: The Nvidia Driver always extracts the Setup files to C:\NVIDIA\DisplayDriver\. From there I installed the 3D Vison driver in XP-Compatibility mode. Now I have the 3D Option again in the Control Pannel. I Used the 320.49 whql Driver.
