I've got the game running in stereo only after copying 32bit version of 3dmigoto wrapper (got it from Firewatch fix, deleted all overrides). Still have some problems - can't resume game after focus loss.
It's not that bad - at least I can switch between stereo-presets when I need. Although, I didn't find a way to make 3dmigoto to save custom convergence/separation preset, only main one.
Maybe there is another way to switch between presets, that will not switch to constant values but to saved ones?
I'm using this one:
[KeyToggleUI]
key = tilde
convergence = 1.2
separation = 11
type = toggle
I'm using this one:
I'll be able to try it this afternoon. If nothing works for you, try forcing fullscreen with 3Dmigoto. It's disabled by default.
I downloaded it earlier but how does that work exactly?
There is a "full_screen=0" in the d3dx.ini file. Switch it to 1. If you don't find it, the Ori and the Blind Forest Definitive Edition fix has it enabled.

Ah finally got it working! The text is off and there are weird effects, but I think using the Ori config may be causing that. I'm unsure where to get just the base 3Dmigoto wrapper. I guess he used the wrapper in conjunction with the AC4 profile

Definitely better, but the text is wrapping around and blending into the background in weird ways. Also there appears to be like an aura around characters in cutscenes. Did you experience these too? I'm thinking it may be best for me to wait for a proper fix, even though it's so damn awesome lol
Ah, I see the shader overrides are in the .ini though. I thought deleting the folder would be enough to get rid of them but I guess not lol
Oh, I know what's wrong on you side - you should disable Compatibility Mode. Press alt+ctrl+f11 by default.
Yep, that fixed all those problems lol. It's crazy how complicated this shit is. Truly a damn shame that Nvidia just left all their customer behind on the whole 3D thing.
It's working pretty good now, but slowly and manually adjusting the convergence on the fly is a bit of a pain. Is there any way to have like two values "hotkeyed"? Cause Just a press of a button wouldn't bother me.
I added those three as well and still nothing :/
How are you launching the game? Through Steam and then through the SE launcher, or are you using FFX.exe directly? I've tried both methods, neither work lol. 3D is on and is working for other games so I can rule that out at least.
Have you made changes in the past to your AC4 profile (I assume we're talking about the AC4(sp) profile too) that would maybe be necessary for 3D to work?
You're not using the the 3Dmigoto wrapper too are you?
Now I am thinking about it and I think it could be that I have a Passive monitor. I ran into this similar issue where I was able to active the 3D for the game while others couldn't. Perhaps, someone here have the knowledge and explain it to you. :P
Once I have all the 3 exe files added to NI, and I was able active the 3D thru whichever 'exe' I choose to run. :))
I didn't use 3Dmigoto wrapper either.
I was using the 3Dmigoto wrapper in attempt to active SBS/TB mode it was no success on my end.
I am glad to see that you got yours working now. :D
Just trying to figure out how or why it's working for you and not others lol
I'm also on 365.10, gtx 980
I appreciate it man, and to everyone else who tried to chip in!
Realistically though, what do you guys think are the chances of this game receiving its own personalized profile/fix? I know the AAA games receive the most care and attention, but this is probably the best port SE has ever done. So I feel it is truly deserving lol

Official s3d-fixes are non-existent, IMO. And if you talking about community fix - that what's you are using right now ^_^
As nobody reports about broken effects, it seems that game is good from the box. You just need to force it to switch into s3d mode, and you can do it by using 3Dmigoto wrapper (for example, from my link) and assigning the game to some good profile (don't know, if it's really needed; I've tried "3d-Hub Player", "AS2", "AS4(SP)" and didn't see any difference). And once s3d is active, you need too make sure that Compatibility mode is off (it maybe on by default, it depends on what profile you are using).

I mean it's working, that last one you linked seems to be a bit better. And yes, I was definitely referring to a community fix lol. Looks great in battles and pretty much everywhere else, except when in tight quarters like small rooms, hotels, shops, ect. The amount of convergence toggle isn't enough to fix it in those places it seems, but I'm about to try and learn how to tweak that myself now. I can't really tell if convergence will even fix it in those places though, as there's a lot of overlapping textures. The map is also stretched way outside the box. Which isn't a huge issue since you can just turn it off, but I do like to have it on myself. Oddly enough my manual convergence hotkeys don't seem to be working. The depth hotkeys work fine, but I set manual convergence to the num4 and num6 keys and they do not seem to work.
So there are still a few minor problems, at least on my end. I wouldn't use "good from the box" to describe the overall experience lol. If I knew a way I could screenshot these issues to show you what I mean I would. but I have no idea how to capture 3D in-game images, or how to properly send/show them.
