How important is CPU performance for 3d vision?

[/quote]Those games may be dependant on CPU but I wouldn't call them heavily dependant on CPU. I can achieve quite high fps with all those games if not running a high resolution and high graphics settings - even in the 200 - 600 fps range. I have a feeling this is not down to the CPU bug because rFactor 2 is giving me almost perfectly 50% of 2d framerates but the older rFactor 1 performs like the other racing games where 3d gives me way less than 50% of 2d framerates. I'm thinking it may be driver issues. P.S. Unfortunately I don't have a VR headset (not enough resolution and peripheral vision for my liking yet) so can't play Project Cars in VR as you suggested.
