Hi All, I have been trying to set up a Quadro K1200 low profile card on my HP z200 which is running an Asus 3D vision ready monitor and a standard Dell monitor. My old Inno 3D card runs 3D movies etc. on the monitor ok but I want to have quad buffered stereo available.
When I run the setup wizard it lists the connected hardware and gets to switching on the glasses but then the screen blanks out several times and the whole process loops. It never gets to the medical imaging test or even the left eye right eye test before that. I have set up several of these systems at work but have not seen this behaviour before. Can anyone suggest why it is happening. I have seen suggestions about mouse pointers and turning off secondary monitor but this seems more basic, I can't even get the wizard to complete.
TIA

Just wanted to add that the K1200 card has 4 mini displayport ports and the 3D monitor is running with a mini displayport to dual link DVI conversion cable. I think the monitor has a displayport input as well, is the DVI required? Is the cable likely to be an issue?

If using W10, that's a known issue and as Schwing. said, you can use 3D Fix manager or there's a standalone bat that also works floating around on the forumns [s]made by bo3b if I remember correctly.[/s]

It might be a corrupt driver installation, in which case you'll need to use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)
If your adapter is passive, it will not work. This will

Thanks guys. Yes, the one thing I forgot was that I'm using Win 10. Wow. That active adaptor is about A$200! Niche market I expect.
Appreciate your knowledge. :-)
If you are in the US, Amazon has it For $88

Club 3D makes one, but several people here have had issues with it and instead returned it for the Acell model.
1920x1080P@120Hz has a pixel clock of 285MHz, that is why you need an active adater, which have a 330Mhz limit. The USB is for power because Display Port 1.2 did not have enough to drive it.
DP 1.3/1.4 have enough power, thus not needing the additional USB connection, but no one makes a newer Active version with a 330MHz bandwidth AFAIK
BTW, if you game at all, or if any of your clients do, please tell them about the stereoscopic gaming compatibility patches made by members of this forum at

I would skip the Accell one now! I ordered 2 more and had returned both of them as they don't work. (The new HW and Firmware revision is broken for 3D VIsion).
I would go with Club3D or Startech ones as they work![/quote]
