Why does my 3D Vision screw up? it basically lies
ok so this happens on two of my games and i'm pretty confused about it since it should work. the first game, Halo 2. the Nvidia message pops up when i start the game and says that the game is "Good" for 3D mode. when i play the game, it rips the screen in half...the gun isn't even ON the screen anymore and even when i put the 3D meter to minimum, it looks like i'm dual wielding Battle Rifles (which shouldn't be happening!).

the next game, Alien vs Predator Demo (yes i know its a demo but the Nvidia message pops up and says its "Good"). this one is harder to explain. i'll give you an example: you know in windows how you can turn on a mouse pointer option to make it have a mouse trail? well thats what its like in this game, except it doesn't disappear it stays instead.

now its not my computer cuz other games work flawlessly in 3D and my computer can handle it. i have a Core i7-920, GeForce GTS 250 1GB GDDR3 and it supports DX10, 9GB RAM, 1TB HDD, and Windows 7 Home Premium. my monitor is the Samsung 2233RZ, not the ViewSonic monitor

anyone else have this issue with other games or with these two in particular? thanks!

well that did work, but i have to have the depth level on the far minimum in order for there not to be 2 guns on the screen at once. this is better than the Halo 2 problem as the gun actually combines instead of being ripped apart at the very minimum depth level.

again, is this normal? are first person shooters only supposed to work on the extreme minimum depth level?

It does that for me too if the convergence profile is messed up... try holding down CTRL+f5/f6 for 5-10 seconds and see if the guns come together on halo. If it doesnt do anything, you prolly have to enable convergence in the nvidia control panel.

that worked, thanks, but now theres white bars on the left and right side of the screen that increase as i increase the depth amount. if its at minimum, they're barely visible. know how to fix that? lol
