2D Vision
Hey Folks!

I have a dilemma with my 3D Vision Kit. Before and After the recent Full CD Driver Update (1.38) the kit isn't switching to 3d!

Basically what happens is after I uninstall the older driver and then re-install the newer one,

At the Set-up Wizard where it asks to plug in the Emitter. The emitter will either take a while to turn from orange to green or stay orange.
If its green it will pass through the monitor stage.
Then onto the Glasses stage. So one of three things tend to happen! Which are either...

The Emitter will become bright green, move onto the first eye test and the glasses won't change into 3d mode.

The Emitter will revert to a flashing orange.

Or The Emitter will go black and the Set up Wizard eventually turns Orange.
I had presumed there was a fault and I sent it back to were I purchased it from. The company there said they found no faults with it, which they suggested formatting my computer and also trying different drivers.

After formatting my computer, I've change the operating system from Windows 7 32-bit to W7 64-bit and I have tried previous driver versions. Still does the same thing!

My Current system is,

Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 260
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
RAM:4GB
Monitor: Acer 24" GD245HQ

I have tried it on a similar computer with Windows 7 64-bit and same monitor,
but instead with a Intel Processor Quad Q6600, Nvidia 8800 GT SLI and 6GB RAM.

...Still does the same thing!

I'm hoping anyone would know any tips to try or know if its faulty!

Cheers!

Try installing the new drivers without uninstalling the old drivers (after 3D is working correctly on the old drivers).

You could also try installing the 3D drivers separately or more than once (without uninstalling). There are instructions on this.
