Arcania Patch! 3D Vision fixes!

Cool, just bought it in Steam. I don't mind playing in the 20-40s as long as the 3d is good, for me that's playable enough /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Thats in 3D? Wow. I have a "fresh" up to date setup and I am in the low 20's to 40's in 2D with the new patch. I wonder what the difference is. Have you tried changing you shadow options in game. It has a pretty trippy effect in a negative way.

Hmmm, I changed up the shadow options in game and didn't see anything unusual. I am using the retail version of the game, with the original hotfix installed, and then the next patch that I downloaded using the autoupdate function.

About these pictures, the character looks ok, but the background is making my eyes loco and it looks like i'm seeing double. Is this normal for some? I can see 3D fine when i can configure it myself, but can this actually be that different person to person?

I am using maximum depth on a 1080p monitor. Do you usually play with low depth settings?

My desktop was at 1600x900. It helped turning it up to 1920x1080, but i had to adjust my eyes a long time before seeing it clearly.
But the character became kinda unfocused as i had to look so concentrated on the background...

I forget sometimes that I use insane amounts of depth that most people probably wouldn't play with and I got my eyes trained after many years of use. Pahncrd is probably the only person that I can think of that plays that way also. /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I generally focus on the background as I am running around and exploring and only focus on the character when I am in combat. Hopefully I showed that the game works well in 3D and people that were wondering about it can give it a shot now.
