Alright I've had it.. 3D Vision full of bugs
I can't play for like more than 5 minutes without the screen turning black and after a couple of seconds it goes back again, in 75 % of the times it's in 3D but sometimes the game it goes back to are 2D and one has to press the ON-button on the IR-transmitter again. However, after that first "blackout" these blackout will occur more rapidly and intense making the entire experience undurable. Sometimes my games crashes right out to desktop too. And I have these problems with ALL games inc. the top 3D-rated title Left 4 Dead which is kinda frustrating 'cause I had wished just for one single game to work or be playable but I have yet to experience that. Anyone know how to fix it? I'm running 186.18 drivers and a GTX 295 + samsung 120 hz monitor.

I've not read a single other user with as many problems as you. Maybe the setup is faulty ?

As for the "bugs", welcome to PC gaming.

Nope, nuttin wrong with my setup. One thing though I noticed, I used to ran two 8800 ultra *superclocked* in SLI-mode and changed them both to a single GTX 295 and I only gained a thousand gpu-points in vantage. Is that normal?

What OS are you using?
I do know how frustrating things can be when they are not working as you thought it would be.

hi there, can suggest only 2 things....

1) are you using a usb hub? If yes DON'T very bad causes glitches.
2) If not the usb, RMA the glasses I have been using it for months and never had this problem nor has it been happening this badly to anyone else.
It may be a faulty wire in either the emitter or the glasses.

That's all I can suggest, hope it helps.

hello,

I had, I believe, the exact same symptoms, and I think they appeared each time Windows tried to notify me of something using a balloon (like for example when there are new Windows updates available, or my dhcp server distributes an ip, which somehow appeared very regularly in my network with my phone checking mails every 5 minutes). I asked windows to hide this notifications and I believe it is now not doing that anymore, but I have to verify that on a longer period...

i had this "turn offs" after installing 186.18.
i roll back to 185 but had some glitches with one game that was fine on 186, so i reinstall 186 and voilà! "turn offs" disappeared.
So, try the drivers before giving up.
