Wow! I just tried the update with the settings you suggested for Witcher 3 I am in in awe! The halo effect is very minimal and with the depth maxed out it looks amazing.
This is a real game changer for 3D gamers like me I think - it looks stunning on my 4K Samsung. :)[/quote]
Join the club. I bought a Samsung TV too and I was not able to play games in 3D because it was not compatible with Nividas hardware. It felt like I made a 1500USD mistake, took me 2 years to save up for it. I was disappointed and the TV was too damn heavy to return and put back in the box.
So I said F!%k It, I am going to make a 3D based shader. I didn't know how to code or anything. So I Basically Just started playing with shadertool I bought on steam since it was on sale. Started to play around. It's a nice tool since it visually shows you how a shader is made up.
After messing around with that and learned the basics. I then googled ENB since I used that for skyrim. Then after that reshade came to mind. So I read up on his reshade project and found a base to work on.
I found 3D anaglyph(red/cyan) shader WIP post on reshade by the user 04348 made 7 months ago. I took that and ran with it. converted it over to side by side. It worked..... But, ran so slow. So then I did some research on single pass reprojection. Then things happen I got better at programming..... Then I got this point. I found out how it was done and coded it.
I am still improving it. The way I improve it is I use it every other day when I play with my fiend who also has a 3D monitor. I listen to his complaints and people feed back from the forums. They suggest something I try to program it and add it.
To day my friend said, "Man it was a pain to navigate in game menus."
I fixed that.
So Update 1.8.5 Cross Cusor Update is now out.
This is to solve the problem of hard to use/click in game menus.

Here a example game where in game menu navigation was a pain.
Borderlands 2

Green cusor not too big
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Gold color a bit bigger.
Yes I know Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has a built in Side By Side 3D. But, My head Hurts when I play that game with there built in 3D. It's to hard on me :(..... Let me know if you want me to share m profile for this game.
The reason you can't see my windows cusor is because I use a very small one as a pointer. I made a Game profile in windows to make my cusor small.

Awesome work BlueSkyDefender, and Top/Bottom is better than SBS for passive 3d TV so Yeah I really like to have your profile TB for Deus Ex MD to compare.
I can't wait to try your superDepth mode

It looks very nice. Great work. I only tried it with BF1, however I couldn't get proper depth. There were DM that offered some 3d but didn't seem quite right as it seemed that not everything is 3D.
It has a lot of options and what I like most about it is the cursor implementation.
I will definitely try it later with other games.

Reshade Disables depth for online multiplayer games. To hinder cheaters. Nothing I can do about that unless the maker of reshade changes his stance on this.
If you get a depth profile to work it will pop in and out in multiplater. But, For single player that most Bf games have. It will work.

Just wanted to say thanks for coming on here and actively helping out. Clearly you're fed up with the stagnant approach of Nvidia and the others towards 3d, but I have to take my hat off to anyone who is willing to do something about it by taking their own approach. It's something that others on here are doing as well, but without these contributions we'd all be worse off as fans of 3d gaming.
I'm really enjoying your nonchalant and matter of fact approach as well. I'm amongst the 99% on here who aren't developers and find this kind of thing quite intimidating, so it's very refreshing.
Cheers!

I Uploaded the patch for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. DM 21 is set for that game. Setting and comments about that game are at the bottom of the readMe. I get around 37FPS with the settings on my hardware. Still low FPS but I'm Playing at 4k so this is to be expected.
The in game cusor is a must when navigating in game menus.
The patch already on github and the read me is also updated.

A lot of the options in the shader where user suggested. Keep in mind it was not only I who was fed up with the state of 3D software.
Barrel Distortion was suggested for CellPhone VR HMD. Then I improved on it to even allow for lens correction with the Polynomial Distortion update. This is to fix the Single element color shift that HMD's can get.
As well as array of other options. I even had one guy use it with VorpX desktop mode.
I can't do it all. But, I will try to help where I can. So please enjoy the shader.

Not sure what that would be from, but the in-game depth and convergence settings for DE:MD are in a different spot. The normal Ctrl keys don't work. And the default is too strong I think. Even as a 5 year 3D veteran I had to turn it down a bit.

That's what I mean, you're being down to earth about the whole thing. All the developers on here rely on user input and we're lucky because they will give credit where it's due, but without people wiling to have a go, we would get nowhere.

Thanks again for the wonderful shader BlueSkyDefender!
Is it possible to increase the depth even more beyond 30? I have been using the depth hack on my monitors for years and try to add as much depth as possible for 1st person games and 1st person/3rd person RPGs like Witcher 3 or Skyrim. I would like to try an really high number and work my way back down from there.
Also, is there a way I can edit the shader so it always starts with the settings I prefer - like flip glasses on, and depth increase as default?
Thanks!

Hmmm, I am a little slow today - I see reference to a tutorial when the game launches but I don't remember seeing that. Did I not install something for that maybe? I have the Reshade32.dll renamed to d3d11.dll and the SuperDepth3D.fx file installed, but that's it.

To use it press `
The same key as ~
Here a example game where in game menu navigation was a pain.
*edited grammar
Awesome work BlueSkyDefender, and Top/Bottom is better than SBS for passive 3d TV so Yeah I really like to have your profile TB for Deus Ex MD to compare.
I can't wait to try your superDepth mode

Thanks!

Sorry to ask this;) But is there a Reshade 2.0 version of the updated shader?
I am having issues with running Reshade 3.0 with my wrapper and I still using Reshade 2.0 (with the repack you gave me) ^_^
Thank you!
Cheers!

Hmmm, I am a little slow today - I see reference to a tutorial when the game launches but I don't remember seeing that. Did I not install something for that maybe? I have the Reshade32.dll renamed to d3d11.dll and the SuperDepth3D.fx file installed, but that's it.

Just give me time.
