Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
V4 is working for me. AWESOME! Not sure why the other ones didn't as I tried them many times.....Make sure not to copy the bin folder over. Open the bin folder and copy just the file, and then post that file manually in the bin folder in the directory. I think the only thing different I did was not to copy everything from the fix folder into the main folder Castlevania folder. The bin folder would automatically combine with the bin folder in the castlevania dir and the d3d9.dll file was still there but maybe that caused the issue? So....just copy the d3d9.dll over manually from the bin folder from to fix to the bin folder in the game directory. For the other guy who was having problems, try this. Also press 0 or 9 to confirm that the fix is installed properly.
Great news it's finally working! I'm sorry about the v3 hiccup, I was rushing this morning. Got there in the end, and I'm happy that the shadow wobble/flicker seems to be actually fixed (that was the point of v3/v4). Please report any additional anomalies, I'll be happy to chip away at them :-)
I've taken a few pics, check them here http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/birthright/album/522213140f3530c914000090/
Great screenshots! I can see that there is a skybox issue in two or three of the pics that I'll address when I get to it. Also affects some of the distant mountains as well. It's not too bad though and quite playable still. Gotta say, the game does look good, some of the cut scenes are excellent as well.

So how good is the game itself? The video I have seen makes it look pretty fun and a review I red says it is a good 20 hours long. Steam has the Ultimate Edition for $30, which seems like a good value, and includes 2 DLC.

anyone else have issues with textures going all blurry in 3D? The textures lose all detail and look like textures from 10 years ago. Only happens in 3D. When I toggle 3D off, the textures are normal. It's not the fix doing this as I removed it and it still happens. I guess it's a 3D issue? Easy way to see this is when you enter the bogs and the goblins huts all look like blurred crap and as soon as you toggle the 3D off they are normal. Many instances of this throughout the game so far. Fighting that giant snow dude who comes out of lake of oblivion all the ice textures are crap.

I remember having this in several games and every time that been cause by blur effect. There is nothing in-game options so only config file left (i don't know where to find it tho).
Does the fix working well with update 1?
No it didn`t. Anyway its not about developers update its about our own fix. Looks good tho (i don't complain about anything during gameplay). Game is beautiful and 3D makes it a real treat for eyes. Something like Darksiders Franchise but without its freedom of exploration.

I wish conv settings switched automatically between game and book entries. Game looks much better with high conv, but having to switch conv every time I open book is abit annoying. Still thank you very much, Helix. Game is marvelous in 3D

Basically I have saved my high convergence settings with nvidia controls, so when I want to read the book I hit 9, then alt tab out and back into the game to my high convergence setting automatically.

@mike_ar69, thanks, now the game looks rather nice in 3D Surround:)
anyone else have issues with textures going all blurry in 3D? Btw, Helix add a new feature in the wrapper to auto adjust convergence by texture detection. He used in this game with the book (when detect book only texture, convergence is reduced; when you exit book, the texture is not detected and go to high convergence...it's automatic).

You can do the same with the 9 key.

Those broken textures get worse and worse as the game goes. In the level inside the tree, the ground is a big blur and there are many doors that are just big shimmering blurs. Can't believe only one other person has noticed this. I think I'll pass on this game as it's getting really annoying.

I'm not seeing this (at least not yet) -textures are totally sharp. What happens if you press Ctrl-t on and off, or alt-tab in and out of game? What series card are you on and what driver, are you sli? I'm 570 sli but not latest drivers. And I think you said it happens without the fix as well?
