One of the best games for 3D soon will be redone and improved. Lets hope 3D will be as perfect as it was.

I don't see any reason why i should buy Metro:Redux while i already have Metro 2033 and Metro:LL with all DLCs. New graphics? Maybe for Metro 2033, but definetely not for Metro:LL.

There are new missions and levels, and more then 10 hours of new content. Also those who already bought the game can buy redux for half price. Check steam preorder.
But ofc it all depends on how good 3D there will be.

What new content? Last Light Redux just includes all DLCs for original Last Light. No new content.
Redux is for new buyers Metro series games. For owners original version of Metro 2033/LL it's not worth it even half price, imo.

Exactly this. I expect at least 75% off for owning both games already. The only one that seems to benefit is 2033 as you get weapon upgrades and steal/non lethal options.
I own both already with all DLC but I will purchase Metro Redux if it supports 3D vision natively.
I never played Metro 2033.
Metro 2033 is a bit better Metro LL, IMHO
Moderately interesting comparison for PC. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bu3DEee3mdw
Supposed to include high-res texture packs for 4K, so that would help in regular play as well. New game modes for 2033 if you wanted to do full stealth run for example. Better lighting effects and weather.
It seems likely that 3D Vision will still be OK, but there is no way I'd pick this up until I know for sure.

How you know 3D will be OK there?

How you know 3D will be OK there?
I don't, only that 4A Games has a history of fully supporting 3D Vision, even with no support or money from NVidia.
Direct from the studio as to why it's 50% (at least they have good reasons, even if I don't personally find it compelling.) No word on 3D Vision.

So they're only going to be $12.50 ea, not too bad considering. It'd be nice if they slapped them both together and gave a slightly higher discount for buying both.
Curious whether this new engine will run better/faster than the previous or worse.
edit:looks like there is a bundle on Steam for both ... just not more than 50% off.

My understanding is that it's not really a new engine, they've just ported 2033 to the LL engine, and given both games a bit of polish and TLC. If that's the case, they should almost definitely work perfectly in 3d.
