You may need the ED drivers for LCD.
Sorry I use a CRT so I'm not 100% sure.
Hopefully a smarter person can let you know. :)

Mobo, what is Mobo ?? never heard about that word ?

and grafic card, Gforce 6600 GT 128 MB
Direct x 9.0c (the BF2 one)

the problem is that, the Nvidia test goes good (well i think that is 3d, i was thinking to see the logo "under my nose"... )
and when i try to open a game, all crash and i listen that female voice.

Your DirectX version is old. This may contribute to the problem.

DirectX is updated almost every quarter.

Go to http://www.guru3d.com to get the latest.

What motherboard are you using?

Chopper

Ok, time to get down and dirty.

1. Download the latest version of DirectX. 9C refers to the standard, not the version number. Kind of like DirectX 10 eventually having more software versions. www.guru3d.com is your best bet.

2. Uninstall your NVIDIA Forceware and stereo drivers COMPLETELY. Get a driver cleaner. I use this one:

http://www.drivercleaner.net/index.php

It's free.

3. Install the Forceware first. 93.71 is best.

4. Install Stereo second. To be safe, the 93.71 beta is on guru3d.com.

5. Shut down all unnecessary utilities and TSRs in memory. Rule it out.

6. Give it a go.

Make sure you get an updated DirectX install - if yours traces back to the Battlfield 2 install CDs, it is VERY old.

Chopper
