I have the same problem :(. Everything works, but am unable to change convergence. It used to work for me. The main problem with this is that for most games the convergence by default seems to be set way to far back (I think) So everything pops out of the monitor and thus there is no 3D distinction between objects that are supposed to be further away and those closer ones that should be in your face.
- I have tried re-assigning the convergence keys.
- Have tried in in multiple games all with the same problem.
- Have re-installed the 3D stereo and the video driver and it didn't help.
- Have tried 180.48 and 178.24 drivers.
I'm running Vista and an 8800GT with the Zalman 22".

A while back there was a program one could try if there was no convergence adjustment:
http://www.3d.wep.dk/dragon.html (instructions/how to)
Also tried the new 181.20 drivers which made no difference.
And then installed iZ3D drivers, which only started working after turning off multiple monitors and re-installing the iZ3D driver (I removed nvidia 3D driver too). Now I can change convergence, but its not showing depth, as described in my last post. ie. I can move the whole image out of the screen or deeper into the screen, but I can't move the 'zero paralax' or 'neutral point' around, ie. the left and right images do not converge at any point. If I set a game to converge both eyes then the whole image looks completely 2D when removing the glasses, and this is even with the separation value set high.
This problem happened to me with the nvidia 3D driver, but only in flatout2 and flatout ultimate carnage (flatout 1 used to work perfectly).
Same with the Dynamic test image in the iZ3D control centre.
I'll try some more games and I may switch back to nvidia driver and try your link below Freke1, tx.
*edit. All of a sudden, after changing convergence while in the Dynamic test image, it started working in Crysis Warhead! Tried tomb Raider quick and that's working, so at least iZ3D driver is working properly. Haven't switched back to nvidia driver yet, will repost once I get that going.

So today Nvidia released a 181.20 Stereo Driver today! I uninstalled the iZ3D driver and installed the Nvidia driver.
This solved the problem of not being able to adjust convergence.
Here some more good things:
- Far Cry 2 now works and it works SUPERBLY. It runs so much faster on the Nvidia driver (This may be because iZ3D driver is optimized for ATI, but its a HUGE difference).
- Tomb Raider Underworld works better with the Nvidia driver. It looks Awesome! I never tried this with the old Nvidia driver...
However, a lot of other issues are not resolved, I tested the following briefly:
- Crysis Warhead switches to Analglyph mode instead of interlaced for my Zalman even though nvidia control panel is set to Zalman.
- Flatout Ultimate Carnage is not working at all. (This worked with iZ3D and is just such an awesome game for 3D!)
So I guess for the near future, I will be switching between the 2 drivers until one of these matures sufficiently to drop the other...
edit: I have both drivers running concurrently. Disable one, enable the other and I have the best of both worlds. Very happy with this situation ;)
I simply disabled the 3D stereo in Nvidia control panel, had to switch back to one monitor for the iZ3D driver install, installed it, re-enabled multiple monitors and voila, both drivers working.

I have a Zalman 22' and after using th iz3d driver for a while i decided to try the nVidia driver again.
I don't know why but the convergence is really close and i can't change it with the hotkeys.
I've tried:
*completely removing the iz3d driver
*completely removing and reinstalling the nVidia S3d and normal driver (177 s3d and 180 standard)
I can't figure out what is happening. Has anyone had the same issues? It happens with World of Warcraft and Fallout 3 but there are probably more.
EDIT: I am going to try a complete uninstall using driver sweeper, hopefully that fixes it. I'll let you know how it goes.

on a side note, lord of the rings online works fine with the nVidia driver
