Hmm, it's not "locked" convergence, it's "auto" convergence. Does anybody know what that actually does? I'm guessing that different scenes and situations have preset convergence settings.

The developers implemented locking out the convergence for a reason and the game
is 'probably' better enjoyed with default convergence settings. Just my opinion tho,
maybe someone could post some shots and change my mind !!

Thanks for help with unlocking convergence.
In general the convergence is set quite well for this game but I like decreasing it somewhat to avoid a slightly miniaturized perspectiive offered by the default setting.
In general I like to use 100% depth and adjust converence untli it looks "real" which in this game is an accurate description.
Nvidia's convergence controls are brilliantly implemented, allowing you smooth analog control over adjustment. The equations that govern convergence are very nolinear and benefit from good control over the main parameter (which is effectively itself a function of interocular distance.
This game looks so good with dx10 high, would love to have 2 GTX480to run dx11 very high.

Yeah I gotta say for the first time I wasn't interested in a new
video card, over the years I've been known for compulsively
getting my hands on each new card as soon as it launches..
I feel comfortable with my 2 gtx 260's in SLI but damn gotta admit
this game is making me reeally want 2 gtx 470's or 480's now !!
Their auto convergence settings are more or less exactly where I would adjust them myself. I think they did a great job on getting a bit of pop-out and good depth and scale. Of course, tastes vary and it is nice to be able to choose.

I completely agree. I adjusted the convergence a little bit, but pretty much any more than the locked default and zooming in with your weapon became too annoying for my eyes. I just wish my gtx 275 didn't struggle quite so much in 3D with normal settings. I still get 30+ FPS, but I want more! :)
