? What do u mean by fake news @superbauch? I post something usefull for this game players ,(the solution, workaround i discover and make the game playable for me in 3d) nothing fake.. Maybe u did not the right steps, or simply toxic? The fact: Just rename the "SOTTR.exe" to "TombRaider.exe" Then u will have the right 3d options in the game. Is a fact , not a fake...

With Driver 417.71 your method does nothing ... same as starting the game with forced 120Hz and 3DVision driven by the driver ... 3D is completely broken. Going back to 417.35 fixes all problems and nothing else is needed.

If there's something I hate, it's the lies. The method I explain is precisely for the 417.71 drivers, because they are the drivers that need that method so that the game works correctly. I'm in that version of drivers and you're going to force me to upload screenshots, because I can not stand to read that I'm lying. As everybodie can see in the picture i have the right 3d option in 417.71, using TombRaider.exe instead of SOTTR.exe And game seems nicely in 3d again

Very weird... I am running 417.71 and there are no issue with SOTTR for me. I am using the default profile that came with the driver (since I moved from SLI with the new GPU). The option to enable Stereo3D is there like before. Very strange, that you guys get this.

I also had to revert to 417.35, since 417.71 only allows SBS (not regular 3D Vision) on my system. Uneven SotTR performance was one of the key factors in my recent decision to upgrade my CPU/computer. Its benchmark testing also enables quantifiable comparison. Using the game's half-max frame rate limit (30 Hz for my 4K TV display), max graphics settings, and a 2080 Ti, my old 6-core i7-4960X (overclocked to 4.3 GHz) had an average benchmark frame rate of 26 fps, while my newer 10-core i9-9900X (overclocked to 4.5 GHz) increased slightly to 28 fps. However, the benchmark's minimum frame rate (my key performance issue) changed from 16 fps for the i7, to a more acceptable 22 fps for the i9.

so if this works for you then excuse me, really. for me it doesn't work. i tried. i've had to go back to 417.35 to enable 3D in settings of SOTTR. so what's the real problem then? why Helifax is able to choose 3D with 417.71 when others are not?

@TimFx7 great work you did here but i knew the most. Fullscreen Optimization is the first to turn off when something seems wrong. What i wanna say is that i'm a bit worried about future drivers. 417.35 is the last one (for me) with wich i don't have to deal with nv-inspector. maybe the new behaviour isn't a bug but something that has to do with rtx, dlss or what else...?
^_- I reported this to Nixxes, like on day one! Guess, they didn't bother to check or fix it.... Is just a "simple" Compute Shader after all ;) I even made a hack for it, just to finish that DLC! (took me around 30 mins. Better than to close 1 eye :D)
Could You make this hack available for us pitiable Cyclops? ;)

Unfortunately, I cannot launch normal 3D Vision with 418.81, either - only SBS is available (not good option for passive 3D TV). 417.35 is last version where I can launch regular 3D Vision (with ON option). Square Enix has not made it easy to report unusual game issues like this. Has anyone contacted NVidia support about this issue?
