"the Zalman display is not compatible" message on SONY TV SONY BRAVIA with 3D Vision
Hi all,

I have

GTX280
SONY BRAVIA (KDL-40HX800)
3D VISION

I installed the latest version of the device driver (268.xx).
when I activate the 3d stereo scopic feature from NVIDIA control panel,
the weird error message comes up "the zalman display is not compatible with the 3D Vision..." during setting up 3D vision.

I do not have zalman display.
the cable which I use is HDMI - DUAL-DVI.
the OS is windows 7.

Could anybody help me trouble-shoot this?

thanks,
linus

Like I said above,
I have 3D VISION goggle and emitter.

as I see in this link http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-requirements.html

NOTE:When using 3DTV Playâ„¢ software to connect to a 3D TV, 3D Vision active shutter glasses are not used. Instead the 3D TV manufacturer's 3D glasses are used

Do I need to purchase manufacturere's 3D glasses?
Can I use 3D vision glasses and emitter with SONY BRAVIA 3D TV on 3D TV PLAY?

http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html

in a product description of 3D VISION,
it seems that I do not need a TV manufacturer's 3D goggle.

which is right? Do I need a manufacturer's 3D glasses or not?

Hi

Yes you need to use your own manufacturers glasses. 3D Vision does not support 3D TVs.

The full list of supported displays is here http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D_Vision_Requirements.html
