E.Y.E. Cybermancy: How well does it work using 3DVision?
Anyone try this yet?
Based on Source Engine, but which version.
Older source games have serious problem with water reflection/refraction which seem to have been fixed in later levels of Portal 2.

The game looks like a lot of fun and I'll probably pick it up. If so, I'll post my findings.

I picked it up, have only played a few hours so far. As a source engine game it looks pretty decent. I didn't notice anything really off except for zooming in with a sniper rifle. The reticle is fine but the view gets really blurry when zoomed. Some problems with 2d HUD as well. I am sure someone could find an existing profile that will make it look better. Worth $17, always nice to support an Indie developer, just don't expect AAA quality and you'll be happy.

Oh yeah, no real water reflections on the maps I have been on so can't say if that will be a problem or not.

Game runs fine in 3D Vision. I picked it up also. People will generally be happy with it.

Great I will buy it now.
Witcher 2, Fear 3, and Mass Effect 2 are no-purchases for me since they do not work with 3DVision.

Witcher 2 is functional now with latest patch from cdprojeck. It runs decent in 3d surround and it is an outstanding title. Mass Effect 2 - well no surround, but honestly it is such an outstanding game I would just play it in regular 3d on one monitor. You are missing a great game.

Zebrastealer,

For the Witcher 2, which patch and Nvidia drivers are you using?
Are both the slowdown and shadow/lighting problems now fixed?
If so please post details of the 45 page Witcher2 thread in this fourm, and I will finally be buying this game!

I bought it today, played a little. There is water issue with reflections(same as L4D2) and some 2d hud elements but it's looking good anyway. Game itself is quite big surprise. We have been playing coop campaign and it's just great. Nvidia could help devs to solve water issue maybe? it's quite small team that made this game...

This game is really damn interesting. I've just played the demo actually, but it has some really interesting elements to it. As long as you can ignore the underdeveloped and maybe-not-so-well-thought-out bits (like the animated heads during radio communications...) the game seems worth checking out. I think just the water it not working in well in 3D, but there isn't much of it, at least in the demo. If you play the demo, when your in that huge cavern you must pass through over the bridge near the beginning, try crouch walking across the bridge while keeping your view above the bridge, imagining for a moment that you're actually taking an elevator downward into one of H.R. Gieger's dark world's he depicts in his illustrations, full of aliens. Gives me a lovely creepy feeling..

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530
