Both Kaspersky and Malwarebytes Anti malware don't detect bitcoin miner virus they are hidden from detection.
The reason I'm saying this I have one game Project Cars that my GPU usage was a 99% all other games worked fine it turn out I had a bitcoin miner virus when looking at Task Manager I saw the svchost process close to 99%.
I have on my PC at the time McAfee Total Protection, Malwarebytes Anti-malware Pro and Super Anti Spyware Lifetime Profession Subscription none of these protection suites detected the bit coin miner virus.
The solution to the problem was I reimaged the computer and all was good.

Thanks for your time DJ-RK. QB, 3D Vision fix and my system definitely causing a specific trio issue. I hope you're not right about CPU bottleneck. :) But will try more overclocking.
Also thanks for your great fix, game looks phenomenal.
@zig11727, I'm always monitoring my system (CPU, GPU, processes, almost everything) from my G19's screen, I never had high GPU usage with Quantum Break and this is my problem. But thanks for the warning and the advice, I'll be careful.

I don't want to sound "I don't know how", but this game is REALLY a performance "FCker"...
I don't remember the Single GPU + Single Screen figures, BUT we don't have ANY SLI for this game, so basically YOU NEED to you ONE GPU ONLY.
In 3D Surround @ 3760x720 I can barely keep around 50 FPS (Across the board. In some locations it drops down to 35-ish others are 60 FPS solid. This is without UPSCALING). So, I play with 5760x1080 with Upscaling where I get approx. the same.
IS DEFINITELY SOMETHING going on with the game engine mate! Don't stress to much!
GPU is always saturated and CPU just hovers around 40-50% load. (This on my CPU clocked at 5.0Ghz so is NOT a CPU issue, but rather a software/engine lock/problem) I bet they never ever tried it with 3D Vision not can't I see any reason why they would ;)
If you don't use Upscaling ON, try that setting;) (Even the game SAYS to leave it ON...lol)
It's sad that it doesn't look that good with Upscaling, but even without it, is not looking "spectacular"... Too much DAMN blur all over the place.
Don't get me wrong... Is an awesome game, but their "artistic" direction is a bit of "meh". Alan Wake and Max Payne 3 LOOKS 10001% better !!!
I think it has to do with the game being a console "port" (or developed initially for consoles) and they had to use all THIS BLUR to MASK things (for unknown reasons)...
Definitely NOT A Nixxes port here;)

Yes indeed. Originally I was using upscaling for 1920x1080 and my GPU was at 60% versus all CPU cores 90%+. Turning off upscaling then sent my GPU to 99% and all cores still 90%+. This is when I realised upscaling meant the the game rendered at a lower resolution and upscaled to your selected resolution. No wonder they claim it has minimal impact... It actually should improve performance.
The graphics aren't so great as to explain the ridiculous system resources required. I'm on i7 3770K@4.5 with GTX 1080 and I am now just running 720p 3D (3DTV Play) and still get drops into the 40s. Its ridiculous. Even when running full 60fps, panning the camera does not feel smooth.

Just for the sake of information I overclocked my CPU to 4.4 GHZ and here are the results:
With 3Dmigoto 5-7 fps increase
With 3D Vision fix no change
I gave up, I'm currently playing with Compatibility Mode (AC4 profile), I'm starting to love halos (Stockholm syndrome?). :p
@DJ-RK
In the fix remove the override PS dependency for the HUD, this will hit the performance very bad in this game. That's why i only use texture separation (in the add-on i post before). Even with 60fps panning the camera you will see a stutter or similar. I have this issue in my rig.
@lacuna / BazzaLB
Try replace this files in the original fix. If the fix don't work i can .zip my files an upload to try. Right now i'm not home, but i can do it later night. Or wait to DJ-RK remove the PS dependecy override to test.

OMG, OMG, OMG... (overly excited teenage mode on). You're a genius DHR, it works like a charm. Getting 35-40 fps in 3D with upscaling, at high settings (university entrance).
I'm gonna restart my game to get maximum 3D Vision enjoyment. I'm starting to hate halos btw. :p
Thank you so much DHR.

Huh, really? I never would have thought that would have had any type of significant impact. I assume its because the constant value (in my case I used x = 1 and post x = 1) gets changed twice each time a HUD item is drawn, but I really wouldn't have thought that would make much of an impact on performance. In my case, I gained about 1 FPS my removing that, so not much lost on my rig by using the partner shader method and again, I think this has more to do with the CPU side of things (since my CPU is a newer generation and clocked fairly high).
Anyways, since it's been confirmed to make a difference at least on certain configurations I've updated the fix to version 1.1 on the blog. Thanks for reporting the cause and a solution there DHR, I've given you credit for it on the blog page. :)

Great that work!!
Don't go to the dark side (Fake3D)...jajaja
@DJ-RK
I don't think is a CPU related (at least direct related...the game indeed need a good CPU)....I have a i7 3770K Overclocked to 4.5Ghz (is not last generation, but is not weak)....and playing 720p (no upscaling) i always have 50% - max 65% CPU usage. When i test the WIP3 (when you add the shader partner) i test using MSI Afterburner to look the fps, some parts i see 55 - 60fps but still i have a microstutter/slow motion in the screen (it's like the game skip some frames)....removing the shader partner in the same place, same 55 - 60 fps and not microstutter/slow motion....all fluid. This is the first time i see this in a game with that feature.
Maybe is something with win7 / win10.....i'm using win7.... i don't know.

It means every setting is at high and upscaling is on.
Asus Deluxe Gen3, Core i7 2700k@4.5Ghz, GTX 1080Ti, 16 GB RAM, Win 7 64bit

Great that work!!
Don't go to the dark side (Fake3D)...jajaja
@DJ-RK
