best 3d setup?
Hi,
I am trying to figure out which quadro card I should buy. I was able to get the raw left and right frames from two webcams in OpenCV, do some image processing on the frames and now I would like to display them in 3D through OpenGL. I don’t have the 3D equipment yet so I am still trying to find out which 3D setup would be the best for that scenario. While navigating through Nvidia website, I found a great package that included a 3D vision kit with an Acer GD235HZ LCD screen for $628. I was wondering if the acer monitor was my best option because I heard that the asus vg236h was really good as well if not better, and also which professional quadro card should I use that could help me the best with the image processing I want to do on the frames prior to displaying them in 3D through OpenGL?
Thanks for your help in advance! :+)

Well I don't know about most of your questions, but I do know this - $628 for the Acer + kit is NOT a good deal... /turned.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':turned:' />

I just bought the same kit from newegg for $545, and it's now at $520... so there's $100 for you. /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' />

Here's the link to the Acer monitor, down the left hand column you will see 'combo deals' where it has the 3d vision too with a slight discount.

edit: you owe me 50% of the savings... :shifty eyes: LOL

The ASUS plus the glasses are just $500.

And you only have to give me 10% of the savings! ;)

But what's all this about OpenGL? 3D Vision doesn't support that, does it?

Thank you so much for all your help, so this is the 3D setup I am picking; for the monitor I chose the asus vg236h, for the graphic card quadro fx 3700 and the nvidia shutter glasses. What do you guys think?
