Latest 347.52 driver says:
Evolve - Stereo disabled
Hmmm.
It can be re-enabled through a parameter in Nvidia Inspector, but it's pretty drastic to actually disable 3D. It must have all the problems of DAI/FC4/LOTF all rolled into one...

That's a first....
Well no 3D even broken one so we might fix it.... no game purchase... Hell even if they pay me to play/test that game I would pass...
Probably they disabled it since the 3D Vision driver would crash the game constantly or something....
I bet if you are using an earlier driver you can enable 3D;))

On 347.25, the emitter enables, but there's no 3D at all. Some UI elements show up only in one eye, but the game itself is totally flat. It's Cryengine, and in the beta I was able to get the cryengine CM to kick in by messing around with ini files, and adding some of the stuff from Crysis 3 to them. I experimented a bit (not exhaustively though), and couldn't get proper nVidia 3D to kick in at all. I've not tried doing that in the full game, but I'd expect it to be similar.
Not really sure why they'd disable 3D for it though, it doesn't seem to cause any problems (other than the UI thing).
Probably not worth looking into a fix for this one though, if anyone was considering it. I'm having a lot of fun with it, but realistically it probably has a fairly short shelf life.

To be fair: I do like the way Cryengine looks in 2D...but only that... 3D is defo a no-go in all the games released under this engine.... sooo.... I consider it crap....Since they clearly did something AGAINST 3d vision automatic mode... (not necessarly disabling it...but shortcuts and shortcuts and shortcuts)....

That might be the source of 'Stereo- disabled', the CryEngine can lock out 3D Vision automatic altogether. And if they skipped their built-in CM.
If someone was interested, you can use 3Dmigoto to force the game to allow automatic mode. (worked on Crysis 2) Might be interesting to see. "automatic_mode=1" in d3dx.ini

Probably this one is necessary as well:

I think there was something in the Ryse profile that disabled 3D as well - I figured it was an attempt to work around the crashes in that game when 3D is enabled in the control panel, but those crashes occurred anyway so... I dunno.
Also, for cryengine games I've added a new option in the latest release of 3Dmigoto to disable their annoying 50% separation lock - set unlock_separation=1 in the d3dx.ini in addition to automatic_mode=1.
