270.61 WHQL 3D vision sync problems Follow-up to 270.51 Beta driver problems...
  1 / 2
Hi,

It seems the "out of sync" problem got further in the 270.61 WHQL drivers. The original post is here ( from 270.51 and previous versions). This is not a remote problem, as many users reported this to happen: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=196753

Anyone having this issue please post here!

Best Regards.

Anyone else having problems with 3D Vision? If so, please SPECIFY if you are using AMD CPUs. My hunch is that the problem appear only when using AMD CPUs.

I have an AMD X4 945 CPU, also IC1E and Cool'n Quit is disabled. The problem still persists at 110Hz and 120Hz refresh rates. At 100Hz, however, everything is OK. Some friends using Intel CPUs don't have this "out of sync" problem.

Same issue here, glasses seem out of sync.

Acer H5360 with a Phenom II X2 550. I do have Cool 'n Quiet enabled though.

im havin sync issues aswell. My glasses slowly show a double image, then will snap back into focus, then repeat.
Im using the new 70 61 drivers.
gtx 460 sli
asus 23 inch 3d ready
xfx sli 750
(only using 1 monitor)
happening on all games.

Update.. I have went back to the 26658. driver. and im using Nvidia vision controller driver 267.24. Everything is working like it should. I guess ill wait to update.

I like the fact you posted a video showing the issue. I don't have this issue, i'm using intel's i7 cpu, monitor is at 120Hz when in 3D.

Hi - have a Intel cpu, GTX 460 SLI - just can't get 3d vision glasses to work - always goes to 3D Vision Discover colours! after installing 270.61 - will try rollback :(

Just relinstalled 270.61 - works OK now? weird

OK - tried playing WOW - wouldn't work in a window - but it did b4 270.61 - now can only get 3D with full screen - no windows?

Hi

First on anaglyph mode, when this occured its likely your 3D Vision Controller driver was either not installed or had a mismatched version. Do you still have this problem.

Second for WoW, did you try switching it into window mode directly from the applications in-game settings?

Well, I really believe the guys fron NV will fix very soon. By the looks of it, it seems that even if the monitor is using 110-120HZ as refresh rate the 3D emitter is "stuck" at syncing at 100Hz. This might explain why on 100Hz it works... Also it seems this doesn't appear only on AMD cpus but on Intel Dual Core ones. Thou...most platforms using Intel seem to not have this problem... :)

I'm having the same issue and it's extremely annoying. I've got an AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition processor.
