vista32b/vmd fails to start
good day all, we're experimenting with a zalman M220 with current nvidia drivers and nvidia quadro fx 4600. basic stereo seems work work ok (medical image works, the test 3d works). when we try and start vmd (molecular dynamics vizualization tool) it crashes with this error:

Faulting application vmd.exe, version 1.0.0.1, time stamp 0x46186e36, faulting module nvoglv32.dll, version 7.15.11.7474, time stamp 0x47e8724f, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00263172, process id 0xf24, application start time 0x01c8d3102ff82135.

i assume this is somehow related to the drivers. anyone seen this sort of error or have any suggestions?

I'm really not sure about this, since I don't have a Quadro card, but here is my take on it. From what I understand those VMD apps run using OpenGL quad-buffering. I know at least on the Geforce line (8800GTS) there are some problems with OpenGL support on the new Vista stereo 3d driver. So far I have not got any OpenGL apps to run in stereo at all, but maybe there is something I missed. It appears to support DX8 and DX9 but it doesn't list OpenGL on the download page:

You can try asking your question at MTBS3D.com, someone there might know.
