Glasses stop working during gameplay
Hi all,

Just built a new system a few weeks ago and quite liked the idea of having stereoscopic gameplay. General specs are:

Intel i5
8gb DDR3
GTX260/216
22" Samsung 3D TFT

I did notice the flickering which is mentioned in another thread but I solved that by moving the IR reiever to the other side of the desk (right>left). Figured that since the IR port on the glasses is on the left hand side then so should the reciever. Not had any flickering since (touches wood).

Unfortunately I do have a problem though  and wondering if any of you have the same thing. The only game I have at the minute is Batman: Arkham Asylum (latest patch installed) and I installed the latest drivers when I built the machine two weeks ago.

During gameplay, or even watching a 3D movie my glasses will suddenly cut out and stop working. I have to then quit out of the game, reboot the glasses and load the game back up. Not sure if this is a know problem with workaround or if I have something faulty?

Thanks!!

It happens to me when I quit from power saving after 2/3 h of idle time.
After rebooting the system everything works fine again.

I have windows 7 64b

I also have this sometimes. I normally disable and re enable 3D vision on the IR emitter, to get it back working.
I'm under the impression that it happens often when my PC can't keep up.
I see that you have a nice PC, but perhaps your GFX card is the weak link, try to play with less details enabled, and check if this reduces the problem.

Maybe the batteries in the glasses need to be recharged.
