Does anyone one know how to disable 3D for BF4 via nvidia inspector?
I have noticed a massive increase in FPS when it is disabled from the control panel, pressing CTRL T in game to turn off 3D doesnt improve fps, I get double when disabled from control panel.

I don't think there's a way to disable it just for one game, you could however try to make a script to disable it, run the game, and the reenable it.
Something like:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\3D Vision\nvstlink.exe" /disable
"INSERT PATH TO BF4"
"C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\3D Vision\nvstlink.exe" /enable
There is a way to block 3d vision from launching with a game. It was friggin bizarre when I read about it and I never tried it but there seems to be a field.

Interesting, funny I was in that thread and completely missed that ... I'll have to give it a try sometime, well in reverse ... adding and blocking it, not enabling it.
To Enable 3d you have to use Nvidia Inspector.
Go to the Final Fantasy 14 A Realm Reborn Profile.
Under "Undefined" set the field:
0x00161903 from 0x00000001 to 0x00000000
After this you are able to enable 3d with COntrol+T

Pretty sure that Undefined field won't work in other games, but it doesn't hurt to try.
NVidia Inspector shows you all the profiles that it found that use the same unknown field. So in this case for example, that field is used by Windows Explorer itself, 3DMark, Tridef player and so on. The next two are seen and used solely by FFXIV.
Depends upon how the software is written, but this doesn't seem to be a universal field that a lot of programs use. Like something that would come back from driver level/nvapi level calls.
