I ran the stereoscopic 3d setup in the nvidia control panel and it defaults to 1280 x 720 @ 60Hz. Under display resolutions I see 1920 x 1080 24Hz but when I set to it, I get a black screen and then it goes back to the old resolution. I am using the 301.32 dev drivers.
My setup is gtx680->Pioneer VSX 920->Samsung PN50C7000 3d tv

I have the same issue with a pioneer vsx-921-k. Remove the avr and see if it works then. It goes back because you can't select yes to stay at the current resulution. Nvidia says that it's a timing issue with pioneer, they always claim it's the other guy's problem!! If you just bought it, take it back!! Buy the time your read this, they will have already deleted your avr from the "supported" list! Beware~ :]
