Had to wait a few months for a new adapter, then i had flickering and they send me a "fixed" rma model after a few months. When i tried playing 3dvision games or watching movies it didn't work. Then after another month i finally got a new 3dvision set but guess what... i got crossover pretty bad. So instead of losing my screen again for a long time i would like someone to help me go through the best process to conclude if the screen is broken or if it is a setup/driver problem. I already tried different USB ports, but am willing to go all the way so every possibility is covered. I will edit this post with the steps made so it stays up to date and easy to follow if that is ok. left eye with visible crossover Right eye with visible crossover any help is appreciated!

Try unplugging the monitor for a minute from the wall socket, this will reset the monitor. Sometimes, something hangs up with G-Sync monitors and it increases crosstalk. Try lowering your brightness and contrast settings, this will reduce pixel afterglow and reduce crosstalk. You can also try different USB ports, crosstalk can sometimes be caused by a small delay caused by certain ports. If the above things fail, try re-installing the drivers using Display driver Uninstaller.

Occasionally this happens with my Monitor too. Do as D-man11 says and it should come right. Make Sure Gsync is turned off and make certain you are set to 120hz in the advanced monitor settings. and yes proper calibration is especially important on this monitor. For crosstalk I lower contrast right down to about 15 with (no brightness setting in 3d mode) lightboost on max and it looks almost perfect. Also in Nvdia display settings set gamma to 0.95 My R/G/B settings are 98/95/95 through the monitor display. When I first started getting this I reinstalled drivers with DDU every time to fix it, but have found as long as I do the above and pull out the power cable to the monitor worst case scenario it fixes it.

lightboost is enabled trough third party app? i will try the above and report back I did a full format of my PC (told you i wanted to go all the way :p) Unplugging the screen + changing tweaks from above (without lightboost cause i haven't figured that out). results: left eye right eye Kind of looks just the same if you ask me :(

Definitely does not look right. A reformat was probably overkill. In future just use DDU to completely clean install the driver. Did you make sure you are set to 120hz through windows advanced display? this happens to me sometimes and I find its set to 60hz. Lightboost is a feature of the monitor. in the OSD you will see it if the display is in 3d mode. (different set of options if it is not.) I definitely see this problem on my screen but all that fixes it.. but its always a driver issue with GSYNC and the monitor not really being in proper 3d mode.

They gave me a broke RMA in return. Have this screen for a little over a year now, and only able to use it half the time because of problems. This is really freaking me out here. I hope to have a good screen one day and hopefully within the warranty period. For a big cost like this i have way to much BS.

It is not a game, it is after the setup process in nvidia. its shows you some demo pictures, none of them look good. none of my games look good and no movies look good. Which did look good on my first screen :(.

Yeah, I just noticed it's the 3d vision preview pack. Mine does shows zero crosstalk on that image. Maybe you can get ASUS to cross-ship you a replacement so you don't have as much down-time. Having to wait months for a power adapter in the first place would have made me pretty mad. In the meantime, try switching around your USB ports for the emitter and all that. It could still be an issue there.

What's your monitor contrast? If for some reason is very high, you will get really bad crosstalk. That at least happens in the Dell S2716DG, where I use 57 contrast instead of the default 75.
