Compatibility mode sucks the ballz badly, i'm personally ready to wait day, week, month or more to have this game in geometric 3D.
I tryed to play Crysis 2-3 in 3D (CM analogue) and continued to play 2D, just because.. Did i say about CM and ballz already? :)

Yeah CM is Nvidia's poor attempt in trying to make it look like they still have a finger in 3D Vision or least to be seen as supporting it. I think the fact that so many Nvidia DEVS and game developers use HELIX fixes shows their true standing.
How many AAA titles didn't have true 3D?
[.]WatchDogs[/.]
[.]Alien Isolation[/.]
[.]Elite Dangerous[/.]
[.]Ryse Son of Rome[/.]
[.]Shadow or Mordor[/.]
[.]Star Citizen[/.]
[.]The Evil Within[/.]
And these are games from just a few weeks / months, you would think we are asking for too much perhaps! But these AAA titles have their logo stamped on them and it's their technology we want to use! I bet Jen-Hsun Huang the CEO doesn't know what's going on with his staff in the 3D department, if he did - how could he promote / sell it. My guess is, there are many walls behind what he see's as a CEO.

Second that. I dont like CM at all and also played Crysis 2&3 rather in 2D than in Fake 3D. And sometimes imagined how beautiful real 3D could have looked.

Curious.. by Compatibility Mode, is this basically associating the exe with another profile and then turning 3D on based on that? Or am I missing something else? Thanks all.

We are going to put an alpha fix out very shortly. I don't have time to do anymore work on this for a couple of weeks, and there are a few aspects that bo3b and I could do with some feedback on, particularly because neither of us is very far into the game yet and I am expecting some issues with shadows later in the game that I can't address until I get there. Compared to the default out the box game, it looks great, but I am not happy with some parts that I have not been able to address. It will be interesting to see what others think. Stay tuned.
I'd like to mention again though that 3Dmigoto was pretty much able to handle this game straight up, with only a few tricky decompiler errors that bo3b has sorted out. This is a turning point for 3DMigoto making it much closer now to a general purpose tool like the helix wrapper is for DX9. So I want to raise my metaphorical glass of beer to bo3b and say "cheers" for the awesome work on 3Dmigoto, and encourage everyone else to do the same :-)

You guys are awesome, great work all round!
I'll personally hold off in the hope that things will improve over time (but mostly because my backlog means I won't get around to playing this for a few months), but great job!

Thanks Pirate - a bit of playing around in the first 10 minutes won't give too much away in the game (in fact nothing at all), but will at least be another system setup that might have issues with 3DMigoto, or the driver version, or SLI etc. This fix includes the 3DMigoto update for the slowdown that was happening with AC4 for example, so it will be informative to see if things like this crop up. Even running the benchmark (in Steam, open properties and put "-benchmark" in the launch options) might lead to some useful feedback for us :-)
