Thanks for this DHR. Can't wait to try it out.
People have some serious skills on this forum!
One shader away from perfection. You think someone from Nvidia would throw us a fucking bone every now and then.
It's not like they are struggling for money or anything.
"Hey guys this is 'whoever' from Nvidia, this is that shader you needed fixing, enjoy"
The impression I get is that Nvidia employees are all sadists!
They only have the forums so they can see their customers suffer.
Trying work rounds and hacks and whatever it takes to get something working, whilst they chuckle at how close we came and how inept we are in the grand scale of things, all this whilst they eat their lunch!
They all go home and play games in glorious 4K 3D whilst they scoff and us peasants gaming on our 4K TV's playing at 720p!
"Errrrrrrr we 'could' take the 720p limit off 3D TV Play or we could just give our customers the finger, let's just do nothing and it'll sort itself out. In fact just quietly turn the activation server off and hope it goes away"
It really pisses me off! The more the years go by the more it infuriates me!
It defies logic. From a literal and business aspect. Anyway, in my opinion it's sacrilege. What a waste!
Rant over!
Thanks for the fix, I really appreciate it DHR. Thanks to you too Helifax as I don't think I thanked you on the doom or starwars threads.
To think how good the 3D was on battlefield 3. I'll never forget being on that jet taking off from the aircraft carrier. It was right up there with floating about in dead space.

I installed the new driver (372.70) and got a new profile that I changed with parameters of Battlefront (attached) which really looks good in CM (makes weapon bigger), then I installed freshly the fix...
but it is still not working. I have no DX12 on, I changed ingame graphic settings several times.
Don't know what the problem is. [i]I give up.

Are you on Anniversary Version by any chance?

Can you try using this hooking method, search for "hook=" in the d3dx.in and copy-paste this
hook=recommended skip_dxgi_factory skip_dxgi_device
If that doesn't work...try using 368.39 driver.
In the screenshot you have some models in 2D....very strange. would not surprise me if this is related to win10 + Anniversary s**t or win10 alone.
DHR said:I found the shader....is related to light reflections, BUT is not working properly in HLSL (decompiler issue?). When i dump i see some white stuff all over the screen...pressing F9 make the issue disappear. Pressing F10 i can hear the good beep.
I took a detailed look at this shader, but don't see anything immediately as a problem.
I'll need more detail to narrow it down. I'm downloading the Beta. What shader number is this, and what and where do you see the broken effect (if it's not obvious).

The hooking is not working. Yes I have the anniversary update... I installed it. I am an idiot :(. Until now it only brought me bad luck. Made my PC crash three times at least. Next time I will be smarter... but now it is too late.
Okay, I guess then the only chance is to roll back the driver...
But actually Battlefront is working all fine with profile and fix, therefore I don't understand what is the difference to Battlefield 1? See the picture here:
