3d vision just stops working after a while
Hi

Ive had nvidia 3d vision a while, when it works it work perfectly, but i found i was having to reinstall the same drivers every few weeks as IR transmitter just stopped responding.
It was either with a dull green light or with flashing red light.

yesterday i fired up B3 beta, it asked for gfx drivers to be updated which i did and then 3d vision started working again.

Now today i fire up PC, looks like everything still working but i try to watch a trailer in 3d it dosent work, tried reconnecting IR transmitter now its flashing red light. It wont even recognise its connected when u run set up wizard.

Do i really have to reinstall drivers every day or few weeks?

Nothing has changed from yesterday that would prevent it from working as normal, just like every other time its happened.

i have gtx295 card with acer gd245hq screen.

Definitely not normal. Is a weekly virus scan causing a problem perhaps?

hey

cant be sure for other times this has happened, but there was no virus scan done last night or this morning, so dont think that is the reason.

Maybe you have a USB port that is malfunctioning, try using another? Make sure all of you drivers are up to date and uncorrupted. Such as north/south bridge drivers. I had a problem with a USB port once due to too many periphials, fixed it by updating everything. You might list your mobo, cpu, etc if your problem is not resolved.
