Isn`t this build on the same old/renewed engine which they used for Fallout 4 ? I am happy with this engine. I think it looks good enough. Especially outside, environment. Well we know how big pain it was to make it alright in 3D.

I hope that this time the game will use our CPUs better, to have 60fps in 3D.

Well the Special Edition is supposed to be available in a 64 bit version, which should help if you used a lot of mods previously.

My favourite game of all times. Preload runs. Now I am really curious if 3D will work.

Still have to finish the huge impressively looking Enderal Mod - which runs perfectly fine with the classical Skyrim 3d fix. So very much recommend to everyone still looking for Skyrim experiences.

Does anyone know if this is expected to break a lot of mods? I'm expecting the worst, but haven't heard much chatter about it. Edit: Well, it's going to break all of them: https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/59m098/sse_megathread_2/ Though, a bunch of mods are already available: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/searchresults/?src_cat=1

This game is pretty bad without mods.. seriously. So it's going to break everything? Okay, maybe I will give it another look in a couple of years when the modding community have updated the good mods. Is this really a new engine, or just the Fallout 4 engine? Which is the same damn engine they have been using since 1997. They can call it whatever they want but it's still just the Gamebyro turd rolled in glitter every few years. *I was curious and I was eligible to it for free. Game doesn't work correctly if 3dvision is on at all. Basically I just get a grey screen, unless I physically go into the NVCP and disable 3dvision.*

I'm a Skyrim modder and was in beta test for Skyrim SSE. Most of mods should work fine without too much tweaks but modders will have to recompile archives and scripts with the new CK. So to be safe don't use your old mods on SSE and wait for your updated favorite mods. About 3D vision, for now it breaks the game so don't activate it.

The only thing positive is the game was free. 3D is broken worst then Fallout 4 mods don't work without tweaking also the graphics are really bad when you compare it to current games. The original looks better with HD texture pack and works fine in 3D.
