Thanks, 4everAwake!

I've been picking up a lot of indie titles this Steam sale, and to my surprise/delight, I've found many of them have already been fixed for 3D by 4everAwake. S/he quietly puts out a huge number of indie fixes on the blog, so I wanted to say a quick thanks for all the time and effort that goes into that, as well as reminding everyone that a lot of these indie games are fixed now (and look great). The games I've recently discovered on the list include Roundabout, Absolute Drift, Zombie Vikings, and King's Quest - but there are a great many more recent releases too. Of course, many of these fixes are using DarkStarSword's Unity template/tools, and they all require 3dmigoto/helixmod, so full credit to bo3b, chiri, helix, DarkStarSword and everyone else involved as well.

4everAwake - Big thank you from me too! It is great to buy some indie titles and knowing that they will also work in 3D vision.

He never had a problem to help Me when I was asking him for a favour so I also adding myself to the list of people appreciating his quiet involvement. I also noticed that there is a huge list of "small" games fixed by him and since others focusing theirs effort on big titles people like him are very welcome. Recently group of fixers grown to a decent level so I recon it is worth to mention them in the topics like this for everybody to start recognising them. Thanks 4everAwake for reminding me about Alan Wake and for all the work you`ve done.

Thanks all for the kind words! But it's really not necessary as I find fixing games pretty enjoyable. I share bo3b's sentiment:
If you like puzzles, it is almost impossibly rewarding to make some crazy change to shader code, reload, and have it magically fix the image. The only thing more rewarding than that is sharing your fix with your friends here. :->
Though, TBH, I'm really not much of a shaderhacker. I'm basically just copying from fixes made by others. I apologize for not being able to contribute more, as far a AAA games are concerned. I'm actually a train mechanic by trade and I have no experience, at all, with programming. I bought a couple of books regarding shader programming, but a lot of the info is going over my head. But definitely a big, big thanks to all the people who have contributed to game fixes over the years: HeliX, eqzitara, mike_ar69, DarkStarSword, Helifax, DHR, bo3b, Flugan, Mana84, Eincrou, Chiri, Sammaz Jones, Chiz, kankgeforce99, Tony Jarvis, Messire Mathieu, Stryker_66, PirateguyBrush, zayou, OneUp03, InsaneInGame, lefuneste, 3d4dd, tonka, Aquarank, Necropants.. Thank you guys so much!

If you were to focus on them it would just take your time away from fixing all the great indie titles you do :) Happy 2016 everyone!

Yes, I have considered you to be one of the somewhat unsung heroes of the community here for the longest time now, and I am glad this thread exists. It's always a pleasant surprise to pick up one of the more obscure titles off steam and find 4everAwake has already been all over it. So thanks a lot.

Not all are big 5xA games (or whatever) but then not all AAA games are really the trouble of fixing and playing;) And for all this, I am really grateful and the community (even if not directly saying) is grateful as well! It is purely marvelous to see what one person can do if he really wants ^_^. Most of us aren't programmers (and even if we are and write shaders every day) when it comes to reverse engineering and understanding "what-is-what", is a totally different slice of the PIE. But, it can be done and one just needs determination and passion for it! So, again BIG thank you for all your passion and your work;) Happy New Year! And may 2016 see more 3D Vision fixes ^_^

I'd also like to say many thanks to 4everAwake! You do great stuff, and I've used some of your fixes for reference. Also, never discount the value of fixing stuff you enjoy, and the high value of actually maintaining those fixes as games and drivers change. I really appreciate you keeping them working.

I just noticed that chtiblue (thanks for bringing it up) "announced" 2 more fixes from you 4everAwake.. The wolf among us has been on my wishlist for a looong time, but thanks to you, I'll just buy it instantly !! You really has fixed a lot of games, and it has become hard to keep track of them, especially now where the Helix blog doesn't update the new fixes as it should. So.. will you consider just a small notice in fx this thread https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/809236/3d-vision/obscure-indie-games/ if you hopefully fix other games in the future. Anyway a BIG THANKS to you 4everAwake :)
