hi all, i downloaded Nvidia 3D vision driver, and i want to use the 3D glasses but i haven't a 120 hz LCD, so i decided to use one of my old crt monitor. The problem is that my crt support 100 hz but only at 800x600 resolution, and when i run the Nvidia driver it automatically swich the resulution to a highter one, and the crt don't support 100 hz in highter resolution out of 800x600, so the drivere find that my monitor isn't 3D ready and i can't install the driver.....
please help me, how i can solve this problem?? i tried to force the driver to run in 800x600 but it doesn't work....
thanks in advance

I'm not totally sure I can help, someone else may be able to though. When you go into the nVidia Control Panel, does it recognize your monitor? As in, does it say what model it is?

it says me only that it isn't a 3D ready monitor, and to try the other 3D with the green/red glasses...

Well if you already have the glasses, make sure you get the newest drivers on nVidia's 3D Vision site. Uninstall your old ones and restart every time it says, install new ones following directions exactly.
Go into your computer's display properties, click the advanced settings, go to monitor tab, get to properties and update driver for your display if possible.
Try running the set up again and choose Generic CRT if the option shows up.

The setup wizard runs in 1280 * 1024 @ 85 Hz. If you have something like a 17" CRT it probably can't do that. I didn't have any luck forcing it to run in a different refresh rate.
Anyway, my P1130 (21" CRT) isn't detected as '3D ready' but it still works, I just click generic CRT (this is in the wizard at the display detection screen) and it works fine, although with far too much ghosting.

Can I ask how you rate 3D Vision on your P1130, in particular how much ghosting (double image) you get?
Ghosting is evident, but I have nothing to compare to. Best I could say is there is some ghosting noticeable, but it doesn't distract when playing and I don't even notice it. Avatar looks near perfect, aside from minimal ghosting around my player's feet.

Run "regedit", find some variables "nv_modes", and set there _one_ resolution with refresh you want (I recommend to backup original value on some case).
Example for nv_modes : {*}S 800x600=7F;
7F - means 120 Hz at my CRT, you should find right value for 100 Hz at your CRT model
