thx a lot. Its soooooo easy. Sorry for my question.
Did the scree automatically change the resolution from 1920x1080 60hz to 1920x1060 120hz?
Had I to take a spezial resolution because of the glasses?

you dont have to change or use any special rezolutions. just play the games how you are used to do it.
it should work automatically.
if you want to be 110% sure you can go into nvidia driver controlpanel and do the following:
under stereoscopic 3d,
select set up stereoscopic 3d,
click on Test stereoscopic 3d button (not on the "dropdown triangle" icon),
select 120 Hertz,
and check the box "apply this refresh rate to all games".

Laura
I have the alienware monitor. This is what I would do. I would uninstall my display drivers and install driver 1.18A Jan. 22nd. 1.18 Install GeForce then 3D wizard. Then after that is all done and you have restarted your computer a couple times... I would right click the desktop and go to the Nvidia control panel. Run the test to see how it works! (Make sure the box is checked to enabled 3D). Make sure also you check the box for quick keys for convergence. After that when you start any game that works in 3D the emitter will automatically turn on. Then adjust depth and convergence with quick keys (cntrl F3,F4, F5, F6) accordingly while in the game. /sorcerer.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sorcerer:' />

Dude
Thanks for that heads up. I am really enjoying replaying the HL2 games. What a quality bunch of games! I forgot how much there was in them.
Unfortunately I can only play from EP1 because I cannot fully remove the crosshair. I have removed the crosshair using the config file but the brackets remain. Is there a way of editing those brackets to be a pixel in size? That would be cool-de-doo-dee!
@ Laura
If you insist on spending time getting better at the games your ex enjoys, I wouldnt play them in S3D. There is an interesting thread on this site discussing how S3D is detrimental to competative gaming.
Just something for you to cogitate on... :)
