Request: 3D vision glasses that fit under headphones I see new wired glasses won't fit either
Registered for this. A major flaw in the current 3d glasses is they are uncomfortable if you are wearing headphones due to the very bulky arms. I presumed this is because they were full of batteries + electronics, anyway I now see the simpler wired 3d vision glasses have arrived and the arms are just as large.
Can we not at least have a set of wired glasses with spindly little arms (like you get with normal glasses) that fit nicely under headphones so those of use not using speakers (which I suspect is a lot of people) don't have to suffer the discomfort the current glasses cause? The current ones look like a case of form over function.

I believe they designed the 3D glasses so that people that use glasses/spectacles can wear the 3D glasses over them. So it is a one-size-fits-all solution. However, I also wish for a version of the 3D glasses that work with headsets (I do not use glasses/spectacles), but I don´t have any hopes for them making that. Then they would get grief from those that do use glasses/spectacles, OR they would have to support/produce two versions of the same 3D glasses. But, here´s to hoping.

It really depends on you headset. I use a pair of HD800's and can barely fell the glasses. But I do hope a solution is made available who do have smaller headphones with a larger clamping force.

Imagine how many people live in apartments that will be using 3D assuming 3d takes off. I must use headphones as well in order not to disturb my neighbors and their the closed type, so my 3d glasses create a huge gap greatly lessening the frequency range, especially the bass. I see no reason they couldn't make detachable side ends, or whatever they're called. I think the perfect set of 3d glasses would also be totally transparent giving you your normal field of view.

I don't need to use headphones but would like to see a set with larger lenses and improved shutter technology that lets a little more light through maybe 10% extra must be achievable. The size of the arms means they are so big they slip off my ears!
