Alright, I need help with the new beta driver Please help
I bought Dead rising 2 and Front Mission and the box said they were 3D Ready. Sure enough, neither of them had profiles and didn't work. (What does 3D ready mean when I can't play it in 3d?) Anyway, I digress. So I decide to instal the newest beta driver (1.36?). The install is different but no big deal. Everything installs fine, no errors. I have never had to do a clean install in my life and this is only the second driver I have done on this new $3000 PC (yeah, I am bragging, sorry). Soooooo....I ender Dead rising and low and behold, 3D works...great...but when I shut down the game my screen goes black and my Samsung DLP says "Mode not supported" and I can't CTRL ALT DEL to get out of it. I have to cold shut down my computer. So I restart, my control panel works fine so I check that out. SLI ok, resolution, ok (1920x1080p) but I notice it says HD audio enabled via HDMI in the Nvidia control panel. I switch it to HDMI Audio disable and my screen goes black and say "Mode not supported" eventually it times out and goes back with the HDMI audio on and I can see my screen again.
Any ideas? I don't want to roll back the driver (I have heard of a few nightmares about that) and I would like to play my 3D games. I have the DVI out on my GTX 470 going to my 3D ready DLP and the optical out of my X-FI going to the receiver. It hasn't been a prob in the past.

Ok, it is not as severe as I made it out to be. Most of my games work fine but Dead Rising 2 and now Darksiders crash out when I leave the game. i just get a black screen with a Mode Not Supported from my TV with the new CD1.36 drivers. Any one else have this issue? I can't even CTRL ALT Del to get the screen back, but I have memorized hot to shut the computer down that way (since I can't see anything).
Strange. It is sad because Dead Rising 2 comes up as Not Reccommended even though the box says 3D ready
