Pulling the trigger! Gurus and Gamers experience needed!
Greetings dear readers,

I am about to pull the trigger and order a monitor for Nvidia 3D Vision. I been using the last 3(ish) weeks scouting and reading through all the "BIG" forums/bloggers/review-sites, but still feel that
the information about the monitors is somewhat lacking.

Which monitor would YOU, the reader, pick - If you were able to take your pick of all the newest monitors (ACER, ASUS, ALIENWARE, LG) and didnt have to think about the money ?
Do feel free to throw in your own experience with the monitor or links to places where you picked up a good source of information.

Sincerely,
Greetings dear readers,

I use Mits 73837 DLP for both of my 3d contents and gaming viewings.
73 inc may be excessive for many users but size does matter when viewing in 3d.
I found typical 23 or 24" size is just too small.
You too can get a 60" dlp to fit your room size.

I heard accounts of 'blue' blacks while playing games in 3D on Mitsys. Does this occur on the 837?

The monitors have graphical problems in 3d: ghosting with objects in a shiny background (like a sky) and stuff like that and I noticed some annoying weird shadows (red garbage) in a game. Some people says projectors are better for 3D you might try that.
My screen is an acer gd245 btw didnt try other screens.

Yes, I been looking at the H5360 aswell. Its well within my pricerange so no problem there.

Also, the information I been able to gather points in the direction of "Projector = No ghosting (Better experience).

My only problem is that the maximum amount of throw distance I can give the H5360 is approx 2.5 meters, I am not sure if the PJ works well at such a short distance.
Hell, I already got a good medium priced PJ-Screen, unused, just collecting dust. Might have to give that a try.

You'll get about a 1.8m diagonal image with a 2.5m throw, it'll be on the bright side, probably too bright for movies, but the extra brightness is good for 3D.

If you're in a confined space you should make sure you can actually sit somewhere without interrupting the beam.

Yah, I am really gonna have to work out some stuff regarding my office. Probably gonna have to put the wife on it, she loves that stuff.

Quick question, I see that the minimum throw distance is about 1.2 meters, resulting in a 33ish inch image - My idea was to mount the PJ on the cealing, but now i got doubts about how "low" that will allow me to have the image VERTICAL. Would prefer a normal sitting height, but is that even possible (With "Keystone" (?) setting) or is the PJ too close to the screen (1.2 meters) to have its beam "Go down".
