Well I haven't played more than 4h so far (actual gameplay) and the mouse+keyboard are working exactly as the controller versions. You don't need to spam a button to attack... you need to hold it. (agree a bit weird that it doesn't auto-attack /weird decision) Clicking on a loot doesn't work if you are too far way... point-clicking is not working as well... so you need to navigate near the loot and click on it... then it works ... (I miss the DAO/2 point& click& move mechanics although I used the wasd keys to navigate lol). Tactical camera is OK in my opinion. (however it would help to be able to ZOOM out more) and I can't see any diff in it from how it was in DAO :-s anywho... I'll try the new wrapper next;))

sorry for going off topic but Im curious how the game plays. @helifax how does the tactical camera works, can I open it up give people orders and just unpause while being in tactical view and see how the action pan out or do I actually have to control at least one character manually?

The game runs smooth with the latest driver 344.75, both in 2D or 3D. With a proper fix, it would be epic! Hope you guys will be able to find all broken shaders.
Tactical view works more or less like DAO did. You can choose to control any action of every characters, or give them some free will. In full manual mode, a char will use default attack until you ask him to use a special attack. Hard difficulty and friendly fire is strongly recommended to make fights more interesting.

Since some of you are still wondering if the game lives up to the hype, I thought I'd share my first impressions after four hours of playtime in 3D with broken shadows. Rant incoming, but the short answer is YES! :) Dungeons and interiors are messed up pretty badly, but the outside locations are kinda bearable. Despite all the irritating shadows, you can already tell Inquisition would look absolutely stunning in proper s3d. It invokes the feeling of adventure on an epic scale and made me completely ignore GTA V on the PS4, which I'd bought on the same day. According to FRAPS, 3D was hovering between 25 - 50 fps in outside locations (average 35 fps) and 45 - 110 fps in dungeons (average 60 fps) on my 5 year old PC, upgraded only once with a GTX 780. Full specs are listed below. That's with full HBAO and all graphics options set to high. No MSAA though. There's no noticeable difference in quality between high and ultra imo. DSR 2x native is active, although I'm not sure if it actually does kick in, when playing in 3D. Controls and combat: You should probably play it with an Xbox controller, because the interface and general flow of the game have been tailored for that sort of input. I loved Dragon Age Origin's mouse & keyboard controls and the tactical view was almost perfect there. Inquisition's tactical view is nearly identical, except you can't zoom out quite as much as before and the mouse controls are a bit wonky. You can choose which abilities and spells each character is allowed to perform in combat, when not directly controlled by you and assign how many healing potions they can drink and the percentage of health that triggers their automatic use. When paused in tactical mode, you can press RT to advance combat bit by bit, if you fancy a more turn-based approach. If you decide to mainly play it in action mode, a controller is better anyway and works nicely enough for tactical mode too. All things considered, Bioware succeeded admirably in nailing the two possible gameplay styles (action vs. turn-based). It's essentially two games crammed into one and should be played once on normal difficulty as an action game and then on hard, as an old-school tactical CRPG. I've played on hard difficulty and wasn't really challenged at all, until the first boss encounter. Bosses seem to come with an odd spike in difficulty though, which made me switch back to normal for now. The gameplay is pure joy and the imagination and art that went into this game are simply amazing. An absolute must-buy if you like high fantasy settings. My system specs: Benq w1070 projector with an EDID override to Acer H5360 720p in 3D Vision mode with Nvidia glasses 2.0 DSR in control panel set to 2x native res Intel i750 @ 3,8 GHz 4 GB RAM GTX 780 with 344.65 driver
