I'll go and update the blog post. This new feature to get around the profiles is a nice addition. Nice work on the update! Edit: I updated the blog - let me know if it looks correct.

hi, all, just want to say thank you for all the amazing work! my issue is that starting the game does not even turn on 3D vision or my glasses. other games work fine including the vanilla Dark Souls 2 but this game will not display in 3D even though it does show the yellow text at start up about the 3D vision rating. when i press ctrl+t i do see the screen flicker a sec but no dice. does it have to do with directx 11?

Are you on Windows 10 Fall Creators Update? I'm not yet (precisely, downloading it right now), and the game works fine for me (Bayonetta too, which you mentioned in the other thread). Try this: check the "Disable fullscreen optimizations" checkbox in the main exe file of both games. If it doesn't, try using a custom resolution with only 120Hz and see if it works.

hi masterotaku, thank you very much for responding. i tried the disable "Disable fullscreen optimizations" on bayonetta but that did not work. for dark souls sotfs i was experimenting with various resolutions and switching to and fro from 3d and what i would get are various results such as white screen only, split screen with UI on one side and character on the other, picture in picture shenanigans with no 3D effects. i was able to derive a workaround for dark souls which is: switch res to 1600x900 and then back to 1080p and then the 3d would kick in and turn on my glasses. so thats ok for now. still no clue about bayonetta though. tried everything and it will show the yellow text at start but my glasses do not turn on nor do i get any indication that 3D is on (double images). edition: win 10 ent ver: 1709 build: 16299.192

In the Nvidia Control Panel, if you have DSR disabled, you can see a custom resolution button near the list of resolutions. Create something similar to your native resolution while you're at 120Hz. And then disable scaling because it will look ugly otherwise. You just need to use that resolution ingame after that.

All this time I wasn't happy with the imperfections of the fix. Those days are over, after just a few hours of extra work :p. This is the new fix, using 3Dmigoto 1.3.16: https://s3.amazonaws.com/masterotaku/Dark+Souls+2+SOTFS/Dark_Souls_2_SOTFS_3D_Vision_fix.7z Changes: - F1 hotkey for multiple convergence presets. - All lighting clipping fixed. - Lighting fixed in a completely accurate way, with realistic specular reflections. Just like in my recent RE7/RE2/DMC5 fixes. No more inaccuracies. - Light shafts fixed, instead of disabled. - Green fog accurately fixed, instead of the previous approximate fix. - Removed useless shaders from the ShaderFixes folder. Some screenshots: https://u.cubeupload.com/masterotaku/DarkSoulsII020.jpg https://u.cubeupload.com/masterotaku/DarkSoulsII018.jpg https://u.cubeupload.com/masterotaku/DarkSoulsII019.jpg https://u.cubeupload.com/masterotaku/DarkSoulsII026.jpg The bonfire image problem still remains. The game just doesn't want to draw extra image outside of its original area. I tried to stereoize the parallax occlusion mapping effect, which is used in very few places, but I had problems with the camera rotation position. So the fix doesn't apply that modification for the time being. OneUp, please update the blog post when you can. Just for your information, I'm fixing Dark Souls Remastered too. I have already fixed water, light shafts, sun and lens flares textures, etc. But I'm going to do this playthrough slowly, because I've already played Dark Souls to death.
