Metal Gear Rising 3d Vision

Starting this topic up because I just so want this game to be in 3D. It's DX9, so I'm hoping Helix can do some of his magic to make it 3D-Ready.

TBH, Im pretty worried[fairly sure] that the story is all FMV/Pre-rendered for cutscenes. I also saw that game requires 25gb which kind of confirmed it for me. I might be surprised but I doubt it.

I'm pretty sure there are hours of FMV in there, but as long as the gameplay looks good in 3D that's what I care about most. Fingers crossed that it looks ok out of the box!

Fantastic! :-) I bought the game and have it ready for activation - I liked MGS4 so don't care about cut scenes. I plan on trying to fix it if it does not work, but I might not get anywhere so don't get your hopes too high. That being said I will give it a good go, I do kinda want to play this one.

It's not too awful actually, after about 2 minutes quick check out. Image doubling and some lighting, but shadows seem to work. Main problem is highly inconsistent hud/marker elements all being at different depth - though markers seem to be properly placed in 3D.

Well I believe I've worked out the shadow problems and found a pattern to fix them. The shadows seem OK to start with, but it turns out all the haloing is shadows, so it needs a bit of adjustment and fixing in a couple of place to get the whole lot right, which I believe I've sorted. Games looking not too bad though, it's no Crysis 3, but then again its running constant 60 FPS all maxxed out, so I'll take that.
