I have a Samsung 2233RZ screen, Windows 7, a Geforce GTS 250, the Nvidia shutter glasses and the newest 3D Vision drivers (197.45).
If the 3D Vision driver is activated in the Nvidia settings and I start an application which uses 3D Vision (a Game, a 3D WMV, a screensaver as Marine Aquarium 3.0, ...), the screen shows thin horizontal lines right after the start of the program and also after closing the program. These lines are just few pixels wide so that I can only see them if I am right in front of the screen. (But most of the time I am.)
When I start another program afterwards which uses some special functions of the graphic board (an AVI or MPG for example), the screen becomes black for a second and after that the lines are gone.

What to do to solve this problem?[/quote]
I solved it! I had the screen at 120 Hz in 2D and in 3D Vision mode, now I have it at 100 Hz in 2D mode and 3D Vision changes it to 120 Hz when I start a 3D application. The lines appear in 3D Vision mode only (so they have something to do with 120 Hz or vsync?) and disappear afterwards, when the screen switches back to 100 Hz.

I have the same lines on my screen after activating 3D, I was just going to live with it. How do you change 2D to 100Hz while keeping 3D 120Hz? I couldnt find the setting in the control panel.
