(Resolved to some extent) 3D Vision Surround on 2 GTX1080's and Win10 x64
Let me start by saying that I had "3D Vision Surround" working on "Win 7 x64" after I upgraded to 2 GTX1080's. There was some hiccups with the display attached to the display port (known incorrect cable errors) but at least IT WORKED!
I needed to upgrade to Windows 10 x64 and am now trying to get it to function but to no avail.
Issue: When 3D Vision Surround is enabled, the display attached to the display port connector is black with an occasional blip of gray on the panel. I also occasionaly get an error on the display that says "Out of bounds" during the time of the quick gray blink.
I am able to play games in 2D Surround with 3D Vision is disabled.
I can't imagine that NVIDIA would not get 3D Vision Surround working on Win10. I'm hoping that someone with prior experience can help with some sort of magic sequence and setup that I need to go through in order to get it working.
Windows 10 clean install with all updates.
Nvidia driver - 376.33
Equipment:
2x GTX 1080
3x Dual link DVI cables (1 hooked up to display port adapter)
1x Accell B087B-007B UltraAV DisplayPort/Mini DisplayPort to DVI-D Dual-Link Adapter with 3D Support
3x VG278H displays with internal emitters.
Configured:
1st card - Dual link DVI hooked up as primary display
Display Port hooked up as seconday display
2nd card - Dual link DVI cable hooked up as secondary display
ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
Joe

Thanks for the reply...
Some discoveries:
It's been a long day. After install of Win10 using a single display I had plugged the display port cable into DP2, not DP1.
Once I plugged it back into DP1 and reapplied Surround, I was able to get it to work.
Issues:
I discovered after several attempts that you MUST completely shut the system down after Surround is enabled. If you launch a game after assigning Surround with 3D enabled, the system freaks out and you have to start over.
I also noticed that the display port display occasionally just decides to lose the image. You can get it back only by shutting the system down and restarting.
Currently I've only tested with "Left for Dead" (DX9). I have a lot of trying and testing to do. I'm hoping that I've at least got it to a point where it is usable with some quirks.
I'm tired and going to go watch the clock roll over to 2017 and get back on it tomorrow.
Thanks!

When using 3D Vision surround, there are certain ways that Nvidia requires that you connect the displays to the GPU or GPUs, look up their connection chart. Those active adapters are kind of buggy/quirky as reported by several users.
Also, you do not want to use 3 adapters with that display. There's a user that posted stating it would not work. Nor is it necessary, you can use DVI Dual Link and Display Port connections. They DO NOT need to be all Display Port.

You might possibly want to switch the emitters off in the monitor's OSD menu for the outside displays. (maybe?)
