That said, there are also [a few] comments by people indicating they've never gotten over VR sickness, but very few and i don't know what they've tried or how often they play. No details for them.
Some things that people believe have helped them is: Putting a fan on you. Stopping the moment you feel sick and giving it at least 15 minutes till playing again. Ginger pills. Dramamine. Starting with non smooth locomotion games and building up. Unfortunately i imagine building up a tolerance requires some smooth movement.
I think the reason I didn’t have the motivation to develope immunity to motion sickness is that I was very very disappointed From the blurred graphics.. if the graphics were worth it I would have do more to habituated myself for this sickness..or fight to prevent it..
for now I’m sticking with 3d vision and gonna do it at least for the coming years..
it’s funny because I’m sitting 0.5-1 meter from my 65 inch tv and sometimes I find myself bending my neck upwards when the character is looking up or move my head to the sides when peeking from corners. It’s totally ridiculous when I’m thinking of myself like that but fuck it.. I’m enjoying it and I’m gonna move like a fucking retarded and I don’t care. this is for me an indication that I’m totally immersed in the games I’m playing... I’m really fucking enjoying it..
Yeah, I can confirm this. I had some motion sickness and some headaches the first week I got the Rift, but it is all gone now! I dont know if it was just a bad week or I really just built up a tolerance.
Honestly, I dont see me going back to play anything other than VR games anytime soon, there are way too many good VR games out there right now and the resolution is not really that bad to the point of not enjoying the games.
LOL - please name a few !
I prefer FPS, 3PS, RTS, RPG and adventure games...

I don't know how are the VR games today.. but in 2016 when I had the oculus, the games were horrible..not even single game I could really enjoy. in a nutshell, every parameter of this technology brought me to the conclusion to throw it out. but I'm optimistic.. VR tech and games will get better in years to come.

What's that about Battlezone?? Which one?

+1 PERIOD !!
3D Vision can't be the new thing because it's almost ten years old! (Yep, really - at least according to Wikipedia, the 3D Vision glasses came out in 2008.)

Hairy balls can be the new thing if a guy walks in the streets with enough confident and some fuckers find it "cool"
Why should it even be the new thing ?
Who gives a rats ass whats new and which not.
I don't drive 2004 year car because its old , i drive it because it has Sweet audio systems that input in there,
And i know just about what can pop off next and whats fixed. I would not change it to a new car exept maby if
I am allowed to sell the new car and buy it back.

I think VR is the future of gaming and entertainment and I have no more doubt about that. I am happy that 3D didnt die coz VR brought it back to life. Yes, 3D never died for us, but for the public it was dead and for nvidia too. I am pretty sure that going forward we will see the majority of people using headsets to play in 3D and this will increase exponentially once the resolution improves. I cant believe nvidia havent released yet anything to make 3D vision games compatible. It is ridiculous and amazing how incompetent and blind the nvidia 3D vision division is!
I played hours of Raw Data multiplayer today, and hell there is nothing that can beat the fun and experience of VR. The online multiplayer is a blast in VR and for me, that loves 3D it is just the next level! I showed some friends 3D games before and you could see how they were impressed, but maaaan when someone tries VR for the first time it is just so fun to see their reaction coz they are like, "hell this is not something from this world!!!" A friend of mine just couldnt believe how amazing it was google earth in VR and that is why I am sure the future of VR is very bright!

The never ending story :)
It wouldn't do much good if NVidia made 3D Vision VR compatible, most games has a UI that needs to be completely redone if those games would be anything but a pretty sight...
From my POW I can see some genres benefit from VR, and for that reason I will pick it up eventually, when it gets better !
But for many subgenres I really don't see the point in wearing diving equipment, take point and click adventures, RTS with a massive UI, many of the Indie titles and so on....

No man!!! You didn't understand, let me explain. I don't mean make the 3D Vision games VR compatible in a sense that you will have tracking/movement, etc. All they need to do is make them compatible to be played on a 3D screen like the VR app Bigscreen that you can see your desktop on a big screen simulating a projector just like those old Sony Personal 3D Viewers (HMZ-T2). The VR headsets would be great for that as I can see a much bigger public that owns a VR playing 3D Vision games that they might not have had the chance in the past.
I am sure this would not be that hard as we can do this with 3dmigoto by changing to SBS very easily.
But as I said, the Nvidia 3D Vision division is either dead or incompetent.

The VR headsets would be great for that as I can see a much bigger public that owns a VR playing 3D Vision games that they might not have had the chance in the past.
listen johnnie walker, I had the oculus and I had virtual desktop and whirlgig which allow you present movies and such in a big screen as you described.. I will sum it in 3 words - piece of crap.. come see my 65" oled 4k 3d vision and you will burn your headset in no time.. no game ever will be better on this virtual desktop bullshit.. I had both man.. trust me

^There are way to many good VR games"
LOL - please name a few !
I prefer FPS, 3PS, RTS, RPG and adventure games...
Win7 64bit Pro
CPU: 4790K 4.8 GHZ
GPU: Aurus 1080 TI 2.08 GHZ - 100% Watercooled !
Monitor: Asus PG278QR
And lots of ram and HD's ;)
I don't know how are the VR games today.. but in 2016 when I had the oculus, the games were horrible..not even single game I could really enjoy. in a nutshell, every parameter of this technology brought me to the conclusion to throw it out. but I'm optimistic.. VR tech and games will get better in years to come.
Agreed !
But for now, 3D Vision has everything - beatifull graphics, immersion and tons of awesome games in every genre, not just some boring tech demos :)
I'm not prepared to let it die anytime soon !!

I am sure this would not be that hard as we can do this with 3dmigoto by changing to SBS very easily.
But as I said, the Nvidia 3D Vision division is either dead or incompetent.
