That rocking horse was a good one :-)
I like my surround or 110" PJ for now, but, I think this is a great use, as long as they figure out a good way to strap it on!

I got myself now a S7 Galaxy Edge and will soon get my Oculus Gear VR. Can't wait to start VR and play a bit around with the Oculus light.
On the other hand I guess I will get the Hive as it just looks more promising than the Oculus.
I kind of forgot about The Gallery.
Its probably the game I agree with most as far as VR design.
Its best played on Vive [till maybe controller comes for Oculus if supported]
It is NOT ROOM SCALE. You are pretty much standing and you can turn, spin, whatever or just use controller for spinning. Uses the HTC vive controller as your hands.
Seriously you cant say that isn't cool in VR and its NOT sitting and its NOT room scale.
This is where I think this generation of VR should lead to imo.
There is a new trailer for "the Gallery".....
http://www.roadtovr.com/the-gallery-call-of-the-starseed-launches-april-5th-new-trailer-revealed/
as well as finally a release date. April 5th means it's less than a week now until the game sees the light of day. Although most of us shouldn't have their Vive in hands at the time of game release we will know very soon if this very promising title lives up to the expectations!
I just ordered my Vive. Can't wait any longer. :))
GRATZ! Looking forward to see what people have to say in the Vive vs Oculus;) I'll probably go for Vive but I am still waiting to see what is what;)
I was actually multiple times away from hitting the buy button on the Vive;) ^_^ I guess I'll do it at some point;)

True. It is at the moment not really clear which games will be available on which platform. But I decided myself now for the Vive, because I like Steam a lot and do not want to have a gaming platform apart from it.
And also the fact that the controllers are already included, the screen is better and wider convinced me.
And one very important point was that I actually can buy it. Because the Rift is not available in my unimportant country and payment infos have to be similar with delivery infos. So I could not even use e.g. a German address and buy with my Luxembourgish credit card. That's not the case for HTC. So I am sold for them.
And in the end, if I see that the Oculus will be the standard. I can always try to sell my Vive and change the camp.
I just imagine Valve announcing end of April that Half Life 3 and Portal 3 comes to the Vive. :D

I was very surprised reading the neogaf thread yesterday and seeing that the Vive has a significantly brighter screen. Guess CV1 is even slightly dimmer than DK2. I wasn't one to ever complain about the DK2 brightness, but obviously extra brightness can have benefits.
I'll probably place my Vive order in the next week or so. I've cleared out a decent space for it, I'd just like to be sure those May rumors are right for the Pascal 104 cards.
EDIT: That's a decent list. It's no where complete either. I know Radial G has been announced as getting a Vive update soon. If I spent some time go through my mental catalog, I'm sure I could find a bunch more too.
Actually just went to Steam to confirm it was coming, and saw Star Wars Rogue Squadron on the front page. WTF. That came out of no where. That's a blast from the past.

Figured I'd post this here, since some of you still can't seem to find your way to the VR sub-forums.

D-Man11, just relax. I think you are pointing way too much on people just having fun and writing in one single thread here.
