When I switch to 1280x720 I still get the red 'this resolution...' message. Do I need to use a specific profile? ps: im on driver version: 391.01 Thanks in advance!
No profil for me, just the original. My driver is the 391.01 Chtiblue, it is indeed very pretty. The textures are beautiful. At night, the lighting looks impressive. I had a small preview in the combat tutorial.

Lol I disabled the 2 flashlight shaders and it was looking pretty good. Then I went in a cave and I couldn’t see anything

I'm making space for FFXV right now and I'm going to download it in the next few hours. Sorry for the wait. I have finished ToCS2 yesterday and I have to solve an issue that happens during a brief unpausable moment after two boss battles. Thankfully I was OP at that part and I don't think it'll take long to fix and then publish the fix for that game.

I've "fixed" (approximation that it's still incorrect) nighttime / select menu shadows. I'm still not happy with it. So now I'm actively playing and trying to fix things, as well as the DMC HD Collection. Let's hope DJ-RK has his account issues solved to check what we both have done. It has been 3 days since that. Is that shared account problem solved?

I literally just got in today. Tried last night and it was still locked down then, so someone must have disabled Steam guard between now and then (thanks to whomever did so). I'll see what I can do a bit later today.

Cool. Here's what I have right now. With 3Dmigoto 1.3.6: https://s3.amazonaws.com/masterotaku/FFXV/FFXV_WIP3.7z It just adds approximation shadows fix for two pixel shaders, and a new fire spell ground decals PS that I only dumped and didn't fix (you can see it in the tutorial about magic).

I'm trying to learn... ive just only moved cutscenes into depth for different games. When do you use PS instead of VS?

It's supposed to work. Most of what I did, I did it in the demo and then it worked fine in the full game. Although for Helifax and I the night shadows behaved worse in the demo. That screenshot suggests one of these things: - Busted profile or drivers. - Compatibility mode 3D enabled. Remember to not enable any of the Nvidia gameworks effects (VXAO, Turf, etc).

Now that I have a 1080 Ti and wanted to turn ON all what I can! ;) Are those Nvidia effects not fixable? Maybe they are processed at another level, I don't know what I'm talking about... hehe

Right. Hairworks is the exception, I forgot to say. It's perfect as is. Turf effects display only on one eye. VXAO seems 2D. Shadowlibs are just broken shadows, last time I tried it. I'll check tomorrow.

Made good progress tonight. Point lights and fire/ice decals fixed in tutorial. Should be easy to knock the rest out of the park from here. I'm unfortunately booked for 10 hour shifts at work for the next 2 days, though (and the day after those I'm on call, so uncertain if I'll be working or not. Next certain day off is Thursday), so gonna have to be patient with me as I might not have time or energy to put something together until later on in the week. Then again, when I finally start gaining momentum on a fix I am usually pretty eager to keep at it, so we'll see. ;)

Awesome! Please post the shaders or the fixing pattern whenever you can :). I'm on my phone so it's too small to see: are flashlight shadows fixed too?
