I recently bought a GTX570 and 3D vision glasses to use with my Acer H5360 120Hz beamer. I have an Asrock z68 extreme7 gen3 mainboard with a 2600K i7 CPU. My BluRay drive is an LG BH10LS30.
Initially, I installed the recommended drivers (280.26). The 3D vision configuration was successful, and I could play 3D games and see the 3D slide show just fine. However, when I tried to watch BluRay 3D movies, I ran into a number of issues. I tried PowerDVD 10 and 11, and Corel WinDVD, with Piranha, TRON: Legacy and Sanctum 3D. The cyberlink players both froze, while Corel just played in 2D. Similarly, HTML5 refused to work (I use Firefox 6).
After browsing some forums, I found that more people had had issues like these, and that they managed to fix this by installing driver version 266.35. I did that, and now Bluray3d works OK (the drivers did crash on me twice, but recovered successfully and I was able to continue watching the movies after restarting PowerDVD). HTML5 does not work, apparently because the older drivers don't support it.
Has anyone else had these issues and/or found a workaround? Is there any way to get HTML5 to work with 266.35 drivers, or alternatively, to get cyberlink to work again with later drivers that support HTML5?

I have a similar setup. Asus P8P67, i5 2500k, LG BH12 Blu-ray RW,GTX 570, and Win7 Ult 64bit to an Acer H5360. I am using the 275.33 drivers with the OEM version of PowerDVD 9 that came with the LG drive for Bluray 3D. WinDVD is trash and Corel was no help with the same problem of only playing in 2D. I also used the trial version of PowerDVD 11 and that worked fine as well. HTML5 also works for me with these drivers. I have not tried the 280.26 drivers and your post makes me wary of updating to them.

Thanks for your reply. I'll check out the 275.33 drivers. I don't much care for Corel either, but I tried it when PowerDVD refused to work for me.

Try forcing the monitor to run at 120Hz on the Desktop, through the 3D option in the Nvidia Control Panel.

I can see the beamer reporting the switch to 120Hz mode, so that doesn't seem to be an issue.
I was in the same situation like you and no one here helped me , but I'm gonna help you and give you the perfect solution :)
1- install the latest driver as you did the first time
2- enable 3D stereoscopic in Nvidia control panel
3- open either power DVD 10 or 11 , and play a 3D movie , which will probably be a SBS
4- power dvd will play the movie in 2D as you said , so double click to go to full screen
5- in full screen simply press "ctrl + T " and it will be converted to 3D Immediately .
there is also nvidia 3D vision player is good but I like PowerDvD more .

I forget to tell you , use power DVD 10 and update it or use power dvd 11 right away
it must be powerDVD 11 Ultra
or
PowerDVD 10 Mark II Ultra 3D
either one should work perfectly
the freeze problem I had was from a bad Codecs I installed to get subtitles in the 3D movies , so once I removed them and re-installed a new codecs , power DVD worked perfectly !
