3D Photo Vision Viewer in Dell Inspiron 7566
Hi I have a Dell Inspiron 7566. I can't run the 3D Photo Vision Viewer in this laptop. This error always pop's up "primary display adapter does not support nvidia 3d vision". Is this application only usable in TV's?

I imagine that you are trying to view pictures in anaglyph on the integrated display? The problem is probably related to your display being connected directly to the CPU graphics and not the discrete graphics. You might try sview, perhaps it might work. http://www.sview.ru/en/sview/info/ Or maybe this setup guide might help http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-photo-viewer.html

huh? what's this mean "my computer screen itself" Is that supposed to indicate that you are using an external display? If so, perhaps you could bother yourself to mention the model number and connection type. Check the 4th pic down here https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/571045/

I am just trying to run the 3D photo viewer in my computer. May I ask the what is system requirements of this application? My NVIDIA driver is currently the latest so I don't know what is wrong.

Did you bother looking at that pic and checking to see what graphics your display is connected to? Do you even own any type of 3D glasses? I would suggest opening a ticket with Nvidia's customer service . http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/chat/chat_launch/session/L3RpbWUvMTQ2MTEwNjQ5Ny9zaWQvbXVvaFVyT20%3D You might try this number as well. 1- 800-797-6530 Technical Support

You are trying to run the "3D Vision Photo Viewer" on a non-3D Vision laptop without Stereoscopic 3D enabled on an internal screen that Stereoscopic 3D isn't supported on... Pretty sure the app won't run without 3D Vision/Stereoscopic 3D enabled and, even if you can enable it, you can't enable it on your internal screen... you'll need an external Monitor/TV What are you trying to do here? There are other 3D image apps... if you're only trying to view 3D images in another format, eg. viewing JPS/PNS with Anaglyph glasses, then you're probably better off looking into other ones.

Oh, now I get it. THank you guys. This app only runs on an external TV with very high settings.

For non 3D displays, you can only use anaglyph. here's some links https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anaglyph_3D http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D-Vision-Discover-faq.html http://3dvision-blog.com/95-using-anaglyph-glasses-with-3d-vision-driver/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereoscopy http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-main.html
