Well, I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of 3D in those talks. They barely even talk about gaming graphics at all.
I mean clearly the future for NVidia is in self-driving cars, so forget everything else. :->
Nvidia please double the performance with PASCAL as you doubled it with the 8600/9600GT in midrange 250-300$ so that a single mid-range GPU can manage 4K gaming too with at least 50-70fps and start working on 8K cards (2025).
Actually the majority can't move on to 4K or VR, since there is no real performance gain in the mid section.
There is really a huge need for 4K performance across all segments in the near future 2016 and onwards.
Everything else is just AMD style, don't do the same.
Don't just do a maxwell rebrand in lower segments. We need true performance gains, since we are moving from 1080p to 2160p in a very short time.
Oh and you owe us one for the 970, kepler and maxwell issues. We know that maxwell is just a step over to pascal. So please with 2017 surprise us with a proper new lineup from 100$ - 1000$

WOW they will also support Automatic Stereo conversion of any application ever written in DirectX and OpenGL with automatic convergence cut-off and adjustments points. Also, they say 3D Vision 3 VR will revolutionize the way we see things! This means both 3D VIsion and VR based on display you are using with automatic adjustments of the Projection matrices and other intrinsic calculations. Also, they are working with key hardware manufacturers on Glasses Free 3D Displays based on IPS panels with refresh rate up to 200Hz to provide a smooth 100fps per eye and VR Headsets without controllers, by using the brain waves to determine "your logic and next move"!!!
