I get a still picture then it says buffering, goes to 85 percent and then stops. Not working for me althouht the nvidia test stream I treid yesterday was flawless. Am running windows 7 and all latest drivers.
OK.. update after rebooting it was working flawlessly.. at least until i paused it to type this message now it wont restart. Seems very touchy... I guess another reboot is in order. Anyway it did work, no stuttering. I am using verizon fios. download rate averaged 4 Mbits/sec. There is something off in the image though.. maybe it is the compression and artifact differences mentioned above.

The image is massively ruined by compression artifacts, This wouldnt be such a huge problem on a 2D feed. however as the artifacts are different for each eye, it results in a effect that doesnt work so well with 3D.
Good point. The artifacts do really stick out and mess up the experience. I wish someone with Comcast would post.

I get similar results here in the US with 11-12 mbit cable. But audio seems to stream fine, so I guess that "proves" it is the source and not my setup?
1) The server cannot handle the load, so it plays for maybe 10 seconds, then pauses, tries to catch up (at this point it looks like a benny hill comedy show, everyone running around 3x the speed) then plays for 20 secs and repeats a few times, then the feed stops. You must restart the application to start the feed again. No one in the UK can watch it. - have a 50mb link here different ISP's make no difference. Speedtest.net works fine. The Audio and Video streams combined are just about 4 Megabits (3800 Kbps for video and 128 Kbps for audio), not 10 Mbps, this was announced as a requirement just for precaution probably.

Hey Andrewf
Yes this has fixed the issue. I downloaded and extracted the hotfix onto my c: drive and the test stream you have given in this post works flawlessly. /thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I dunno. The shadows are incorrect. Also the nVidia golf-ball really kicks my FPS in the nuts! ;)
Joking aside - the slideshow my poxy bandwidth sent me looked really impressive. I was getting decent popout etc. Nice job!
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Stuttering for me, Speedtesting at 20 Mbps but it's an "up to 7.5 Mbps" connection with burst speed that's inflating my speedtest numbers. Since I'm watching on a 3D-Ready Samsung the easy solution to the bandwidth issues would be to unlock my emitter and let me watch the broadcast through my HD Box (needs the Mitsubishi converter).

I am able to run it now without Andrew's fix, thanks anyway. Have to say I was impressed seeing as though this is a first for 3D streaming. I do have to say that it ran very smoothly but I have a strong 25mb download internet speed. My only problem is that I still have the occasional famous flicker that I get in gaming as well. That's another story that I hope they figure out a fix for.

I just start watching and it is very smooth. No lag or stutters, sound is perfect, no timing issues at all. I had to update my nv 3d player. I had a few problems getting the vid to come up, required several repasting of the url and perfect timing when switching to full screen. The regular problems i have when using NV VIDEO PLAYER.
First thing i noticed is how refreshing it is to just sit back, relax and watch 3d. Its a nice change from the in-your-face, button mashing, frantic gaming 3d. I am looking forward to more non gaming 3d because of this. I think i could even watch the news in 3d now. The headers and info screens all popout too, not as good as the nv test screen but good just the same. Depth is baked in, if i had to guess maybe 30-50%. Colors are very good. Better than you would get from any movie theater with using polarized glasses imo. At my full res. it was just the tinyest bit blurry and i ran my second monitor to type this while i watched (small amount of flicker because of this) the 3d image begins to look very poor, slightly pixelated and has a red haze.
I can see this kind of sports 3d viewing becoming mainstream quickly. You only have to watch a small amount to know its so much better than 2d, far more information is recived. My eyes were overloading, there is so much more for you to look at. Spectators are more interesting too. The announcers seemed to really push the 3d aspect or we recived special coverage to what 2d viewers got. I dont watch golf on tv so i cant say if new camara angles were used to show the tech off but amazing views. One would have to pay big bucks to get the front row seats we are getting for this.
I tested my connection an i get 5mb/s. click my name for system specs (dont laugh)

Yah, running Windows 7, Core 2 Duo E8400 @3GHz, 4Gb Ram (3.2) and GTX 275. It's a slideshow after it buffers. Speeds up 2-4x when buffer catches up, then freezes. After about a minute of this, then the re-buffering just stops, displaying the most recently buffered frame. Player status says "Playing" - lol!
For the few (2-10) seconds after the first buffer-up and it actually runs, it really looks good. Was able to take screenshots, etc.
I can restart the player and re-enter the URL. That way I can watch a few more seconds until it just stops again after a minute or so.
But it won't ever pick back up by itself.
Running on otherwise reliable and high-speed cable connection in central Texas. USA.
