CD 1.08 users bug report post your bugs here - May help team Nvidia to fix
  1 / 2
1- Just found out why 1.08 CD doesn't allow S3D in res 1920x1080 with a DLP TV: When setting "resize my desktop" to fit the DLP screen it also causes resolution 1920x1080 to become ineffective in S3D. The Nvidia logo tests confirms this observation. Once disable/undo the 'resize desktop' option S3D again is fine with this res. (Note that I haven't tried this with any other resolutions besides the highest allowed for my Samsung DLP ie 1920x1080)

2- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition - Graphics glitches still there
http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtop...mp;#entry502085

3-Overscan issue still there with Samsung DLP HDTV (as implies in (1) above) - specifically model HL61A750

Hope team NVIDIA fixes these in next release.

UPDATE:

Feature or bug ?

My audio out (3.5mm to dual RCA cable) plug in the Samsung DLP HDTV together with (the DVI-HDMI cable) from the 8800GTS used to allow both video and audio via the HDMI/DVI inputs from the Sammy.

A few days ago I replaced the 8800GTS with the newly acquired GTX 285 which has a SPDIF input. Suddenly my Sammy DLP stopped having any sounds and only after many hours that I figured out the GTX 285 does not work with the Samsung DLP perfectly. It needs to have SPDIF signal fed in since the Samsung apparently disables its DVI input once it shaked hand with the 285. Meaning only the HDMI is regconized by the Sammy and that the HDMI must carry both video and audio information. And since I don't have SPDIF 2pin compatible connector from neither the mobo nor from my soundcard, I'm screwed because of this new feature.

Both my Dell mobo and my Montego soundcard have external SPDIF connectosr, now if it is easy to convert a SPDIF cable to 2pins SPDIF kinda header then I'd like to know, however it would be nice to have the Geforce driver allowing usesr to use the 3.5mm audio out to RCA to plug in the DLP TV just as before.

Now I have to ponder the possibility of returning the 285 or buying a new sound card that has this SPDIF internal header, BTW any recommendation for such card is appreciated.

Cheers

profile naming error in Battlestations;pacific. i am pretty sure the Nvidia s3d profile is set up for an exe file named battlestationspacific.exe. The problem is that is only the launcher and the actual game exe file is bsp.exe and is not recognized therefore does nor give stereo.

i have checked this with the demo version of the game which when i label it battlestationspacific.exe it works and displays the recognition message with recommendations. The full verson of the game has the windows live launcher which uses bsp.exe.

Unfortunately with the launcher and windows live junk I cant trick the bsp executable by renaming it so I get no s3d. I bought my version online through Direct2drive. so maybe there are different setups with disk version versus online versions which Nvidia used to make the profiles.

Anyway very dissapointed that I now have to wait at least another driver release cycle to play this game. (assuming they fix this)

In Painkiller the Necrogiant boss at the end of the first chapter has a strange line that runs from his head all the way across the screen.

In the Witcher I also get something similar with some of the characters having long lines running from their hands going way up into the sky and they dont end. It looks as if some characters have strings like marionettes.

I have gone back to 1.07, getting random blank screens, and Killing Floor wont even start up with 1.08. Using Vista 64, gtx295, 750i ftw.

Mmmm... my Demigod profile is working here.

I have an excellent rating, and everything is fine with the game (no need to turn off certain things)

Bizarre! its like i get shadows in one lense and ground details in the other. I thought it was just my red/greens originally not liking the games colours. Guess i'll have to do a reinstall of the 3d's then /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />

I have later found resetting the graphics to defaults makes it playable, though the flashy bits on the defensive towers break the 3d immersion and all the details are on medium. Once i start adding details again the graphics go bodged. I reinstalled the 3d driver too and i have the main driver for 1.08 installed so i have no idea.

I just checked Demigod, but now that you said it I have the same strange issue as you. With one eye I have everything, and with the other I have everything except the shadows and the lightning on the ground. But when both combines, things look alright. At least for me, it doesn't seem so strange to look at /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' /> . So...mmm...sorry for the misinformation :">

I don't know how to take a stereoscopic screenshot to show the problem :">

No z-info for unit huds tends to be a common issue it seems. A means to speed up performance as it makes no difference to a 2d display. Ultimately its down to Stardock to fix this one.

This issue does not particularly belong just to 1.08 CD but I thought it might be good to keep all the problems reported here until the new release. May help devs a tad from reading too many threads. /devil.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Fallout 3: Pipboy's out of whack. Convergence on this pipboy is way different than the rest of the environment making me go blind every time. Please team Nvidia kindly provide a second saved setttings for occasions like this, or may be two such settings à la iZ3D driver. Autoconvergence is something to think about but an interim workaround as saved settings would be great for gaming.
