At the risk of being off topic, I would like to see a serious shortcoming corrected in 3D Vision/3DTV Play setup: the inability to change left/right eye order. Under certain circumstances, this order is reversed and there's no setting in Samsung's menu to reverse this order.

andrew,
sorry for posting here but i am lost.... i bought a panasonic TX-P46VT20E 3D HDTV plams 3 month ago. this model is still not on the list of supported models for 3DTVplay. why? because it is an european model? panasonic is nvidia partner and nobody can tell me why this model is not on that f.... list
can you give me a hint? what do i need to do to get my model supported by 3DTVplay?

I filled it out, although I'm not sure the survey addresses my scenario exactly. I'm using the latest drivers (266.58), I have an HDMI detective to fool the PC into thinking I have an HDMI 1.3 TV, and I built the square wave generator to fool the emitter and disable the error message. I have Generic DLP selected and am using 1080p checkerboard and outputting to a Samsung PN58C7000.
I think there's something broken/buggy with the Samsung checkerboard implementation tho. The initial eye order sync for checkerboard is always incorrect and I have to hit the picture correction menu setting twice to get it in sync.

I have a Samsung DLP HDTV that is 3D Ready. It is the HL56A650. I got 3D vision to work fine with it when the setup is "generic 3d dlp hdtv" in the options menu. My HDTV also has two modes for 3D, mode 1 and mode 2. I have found out that some games and tech demos work on mode 1. Others mode 2. Overall 3D Vision is darn impressive!

Please list your model of TV here that is broken.
[/quote]
My TV isn't broken, eye order is correct for all BluRay 3D, broadcast TV, etc. Eye order reversal is a side effect of the EDID override .inf file I'm forced to use. rkuo gets the reversal due to DVI Detective hardware. Various unpredictable things cause this reversal so the fix is NOT to correct the cause of the reversal. The proper fix is to give us a way to change the eye order in setup or control panel. All other 3D stereo drivers (iz3D, TriDef) have a checkbox which allows the order to be reversed, that's what I'm requesting. Finally, the reversal must stay in effect until the user manually resets it.

Hi
If we add checkerboard support, there is no need to have eye order selection since you want need an EDID override. Do you agre?

No. As I explained, EDID override is only one cause of reversal, there are others that are unpredictable. So no matter what unforseen reversal triggers occur in the future, there is a remedy.

If the real reason you refuse to provide a reversal checkbox is because it's unacceptably costly to implement, just say so, I won't argue the point. All I ask is that you stop pretending there is no logical reason to have it.

We are going to add checkerboard support to our 3DTV Play driver. We need to schedule it to add it - its not as easy as a one line code change. I cannot give a date for availability yet since we still have to schedule the work.
