I have a question concering the resolutions which are available and playbale with the EDID.
Can you just play any resolution e.g. 1080p, 1440p, 2160p with the EDID and if yes, with which Hz-Setting?
Because as I only own a Nvidia GeForce 1080, properbly it is not sufficient for the lastst games in 4K/3D.
I'm asking because currently I game mainly on a Panasonic 58" 3D TV with 3D TV Play and the 24Hz cap totally sucks and also I'm not a big fan of the SBS feature of the TV so I never tried this with 3DMigito SBS/TAB feature.
I already planned to buy a new 3D TV until they are gone, and now after my latest search, the LG 65UH950V I wanted, is not available anymore, so I'm planning to either buy the LG 75UH855V or the LG OLED65E6V, which are both still available around 3200€. But who knows how much longer.
Do both TVs would work with one of the EDIDs posted in this thread.
Actually I don't need a OLED a >65" LCD with 4k, HDR would be enough, but it seems there are not so many left, which would work with the EDID trick. If you know any other models, please tell me.
Feedback would be highly welcome and greetings and many thanks to the 3D Helixmod community who keeps our hobby alive :-)

Regarding the resolution, you can only use native resolution 2160p for interlaced. For lower resolutions you need to use SBS or TaB.
However you can use in-game resolution scaling like many games offer today (Bf1, Bf4 COD BO3...). The last 3dmigoto release also has this scaling feature.
Both TV's should be usable with Edid.

Is not a bug, nor related to the Edid. It is a feature called screen shift. You can find it under OLED Panel Settings. It is intended to prevent image retention, you can however turn it off.
It can get annoying. I turn it off after the first time it shifts and then back on when I'm finished gaming.
I decided to upgrade my set and get a 3D OLED as they are going to dissapear from the market soon.
I got the 65 E6V at a great price. The set is amazing. Picture quality is great.
Inputlag..... here I have to say the reviews are misleading. Inputlag is very variable +-15ms.
The inputlag in gamemode is not 34ms as in teh reviews. It is true that sometimes it goes down to this value but mainly it is 50ms just like my 55UC970. The bad thing is i measured ocasional +15ms compared to the UC970.
Sometimes I can feel the variation.
I tried different firmware versions with same result.
In case someone is interested in an updated Edid for OLED65E6V. HDR- 3D also works. (find attached)
sorry about the mis format when i made this post... :-) i was stuck on 30hz 4k with my 1.4 cable and something happened :-)
got me a premium cable and deep color and 60hz 4k 4-4-4 working now, with your edid. Thx alot.
hdr in windows settings,, also working but looks very pale and i havent got time adjusting it yet ..
i think it looks better without hdr at a first look...
ive been doing 3d since the good old sterescopic days... :-) some of my first great 3d gaming was matrix reloaded and the very first battlefield game, and ofc desert combat.... :-)
i recently found out they stopped making these passive 3d babies so i was stuck with the UH85 which was all i could find in 65",
which is not so bad....the dealer still has 3 more and im thinking ordering them all, so i can pick the best one.. :-)
my last set was a pfl7600.... the legend. :-)
i got me the lg 65UH85 ips due to pixel degradation causing burn in, on the oled series. just watch here: http://www.rtings.com/tv/learn/permanent-image-retention-burn-in-lcd-oled
looks very very bad after only 10 weeks (use the week selector and flip from week one->)
but i can still get a demo model of 65E6 with a brand new panel, which is needed for oled these days...DONT buy used ones or demo sets!! they dont last forever. demo sets are the worst!!
but it wont last as long as the uh 85 i guess...still tempted though... :-)
allthough it looks better on this screen compared to pfl7600 its not perfect yet...and i suspect those people who thinks the 3d on these sets looks amazing, dosent come from a EDID setup. my philips was pretty good i think.... but i dont know....maybe its some settings of mine on the UH85 or something.
im happy about the quality i got from a few days messing around mostly reading tons of posts...looking for the right edid etc.....
All my old stuff works great, movies and games etc..
still some ghosting though like my old philips but its somewhat less, and nice to get rid of the black lines close up.
The optimal position for this set is bottom half section aligned with the top of my head! not the top section like some people says.... maybe its better for them... but massive ghosting starts to appear when the head goes to the top half... its a pefect setup though from the couch. so no problems here.
:-)
so im stuck with some bleeding etc. but my philips also had some and i forgot after a few weeks...
also the 65 is so big i rarely look at the edges im 2.2 meters from the set.....and never in 3d anyway since it breaks the 3d effect.
your EDID works great for the UH85 however Joker, at least at a glance. Im still to test the 3d filter alignment on the set, but so far it looks pretty good.
i have a little ghosting so im gonna check the rabbit test or something.
any good recommendations are welcome.
if its not so good il get the rest of the sets and pick my fav.
great we still have some people in the world who thinks 3d is great.
I cant believe 3d is dying off ...WTF is wrong with the world lol. Maybe the teen was right about us shifting into the next universe, when they turned on the PA in Cern. :-) that would explain alot of wierd things happening lately... :-)

ive did the rabbit test.....it dosent look good.... can see the rabbits on all tests....
hmm....
i watched the video with the rabbits..maybe the pics yield diff results. But i cant seem to figure out how the jpgs works ..:-)
1.
"just scan" is off since hdmi is mapped as PC , is this a problem?
i seem to recall something about that,, ive read the past few days. but turning it on yields other problems, like blue and red ghosting. il have to try it i guess..
2. sharpness i set to 0....seem to remember something about the REAL 0 is 15 or something??
thx

Except some DLP projector, no screen succeed in the rabbit test.
Video or picture will render exactly the same.
The test can help you to find the better settings possible, but when it's the filtres (Passive TV) who are responsible of crosstalk/ghost, the TV setting won't make a big difference.
The Rabbit test would help people to find the better hardware, but no one is sharing their result, sadly.

I testen on my oled.
On white it is perfect.
Starts to be a bit visible on grey
On black is clearly visible but not as visible as your EF9500 test.
However in day to day use I rarely see ghosting on very high contrast areas.
On black is clearly visible but not as visible as your EF9500 test.
It's already a pretty good result. My test is Hardcore ! But necessary.

.
the bleeding from the rabbit test is uniform all over my screen more or less... but its also very material specific when noticing real life use. some movies are good....some less good.
i seem to notice i have a little less popout on the 65....(except for the cud fish in imax movie under the sea.. :-) probably due to a diff POV on +55" filters.
im still thinking about ordering the last sets from the dealer.... :-) and try the others, just a lot of work packing these babies up again and returning.
have some info for you in return...might be usefull dunno. is not a mission critical feature but a nice to have.....
i tried this EDID driver instead...http://download848.mediafire.com/2969n4qexf7g/xe2gekx14fz5eam/55UH8500MOD.inf
and now i also have 3d in windows as well as fullscreen....at least the 3dvision player.
somehow ur edid broke that for my setup.
maybe its settings related since the 3d bleeding is uniform, or the filter is just off...it smells more like fadeout time. If the rabbit pic bleeds can it be fade related then? no picture is shown on the right side i guess, so that sounds strange in my ears.
since 3d is working in a window now with the 55uhd EDID, it points to some settings not 100% aligned yet maybe.

Just in case anyone interested.
I modified a bit the previous 65E6V Edid.
The previous one didn't accept 2160@60hz in some games, just 2160@59,94 which apparently my TV didn't really like. It had stuttering.
This one also support 7.1 PCM (for receivers) and works properly with default color setting in Nvidia control panel. Switches automatically to proper color space depending on content (HDR/SDR).
PS: This also got rid of the weird inputlag variations I was having, now it is a steady inputlag both HDR and SDR game mode. Compared to my IPS monitor it has 30 ms, so I think real inputlag is 40-45ms. I can't explain why it doesn't match the Rtings measurement.
