Hey guys, I have noticed that with games like Diabo 2 and Sacrifice that both have a 3d rating, diablo 2 as not recommended and sacrifice as "good". This leads me to believe that both are able to play in 3d vision. My rig is newer and pretty top of the line, and I can play both games on it ((windows vista also)) but only if i plug in my old monitor. I want to play them in 3d vision, or if i can't do that I would at least like to play them on my samsung syncmaster 2233rz monitor, but when i have this 3d monitor plugged in and I click into the games it starts to go into them, but then just goes back to desktop. Any help? With playing them in 3d mode, or at least just playing them with my 3d monitor in 2d mode?

Well, you shouldn't assume Diablo2 will work if it is listed as 'not recommended.' So, are these the only 2 games you have tried in 3d? Do you have the latest drivers? Try this: right-click on desktop -> nvidia control panel -> 3d vision settings -> change the settings to launch the game w/o 3d vision- hit ctrl + T to enable it while in game. If this doesn't work then disable it in the nvidia control panel. You should be able to tell if 3d vision is the problem by this point.

Oh I've played a lot of games in 3d vision, works just fine. Just can not get it to launch on these older games, and it's not just playing them in 3d, i can't play them with my 3d monitor, the samsung syncmaster, at all. Can't even get into the game even if i have 3d vision turned off, but i can get into the games on my older monitor. So it much be something to do with the monitor, just not sure what.
