Drivers for 8800
Hallo,
everybody,

work 162.18 Beta Forceware Driver with 162.15 Beta Stereo Driver normal? No problem?
....and what is :
More likely than not, you will need to make this registry adjustment to get the drivers to work:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvCplApi\Policies] "ContextUIPolicy"=dword:00000001

from MTB3D? how I work? Who advise me?

There are only a few games that runs with this beta and 8800. 7950 and below works good though. Check the mtbs3d.com site. However this is how to manage:

After a fresh install you're not able to view the control panel in classic view (and the stereo-options). Therefore you need to edit your registry to make it show. If you're not absolutely sure about what you're doing when tinkering with REGEDIT i suggest another solution:

1: Open Notepad and make a new text-file. For ex. Nvstereo.txt
2: Paste "[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NvCplApi\Policies] "ContextUIPolicy"=dword:00000001" into the file (without the first and last quotes!).
3: Save the file and exit Notepad.
4: Rename the fileextension for the created file from .txt to .reg (for ex Nvstereo.txt to Nvstereo.reg).
5: Doubleclick the .reg-file. Select yes on the the question about add to registry and you're done! Now you should be able to view the control panels classic view.

If you keep a copy of the file it'll be very easy to reset the control panel to classic each time you tinker with the displaydrivers.

note: If you're not able to see fileextensions in the explorer you need to change "Tools/Folderoptions/Show/"Hide extensions for known files" to unticked (This is freely translated from my swedish version so the words just might not be precise).

Cheers
