The updated game is GREAT, been plaing it the last few days with little to no issues at all, and i'm playing it @ 5760x1080 in 3D Surround.
Since no one had anything to say/do about my profile request, I decided to dedicate a day to get this game up to snuff, giving it my best shot to achieve the best results possible with the resources I had on hand.
Rather than messing with profile extractions and re-importing that only rarely works, I simply tied the executable to the ACIV(SP) profile, and next thing I knew I was playing in 3D Compat. Mode. - I don't know why I had the impression that simply using NV Inspector to reassign the exe wouldn't work on a DX11 game that doesn't have a native profile that supports Compat Mode.
So, getting that far, things started happening quickly and to my surprise the difference between what we were offered at release and what is NOW available, is night and day. The full set off graphics options, the stability and even the 3D in compat mode have all come together to satisfy my BAK experience to say 80% out of 100, the remaining 20% reflects the combo of proper 3D, along with some form of recourse for all of us that were negatively affected , like a free 'Season's Pass' for the game (I know, keep dreaming).
So, all that said, my settings can be summarized thusly:
1) All settings are enabled (Incl. AA) and set to the highest possible level - EXCEPT:
2) The overall 'texture quality' of the game (Forgot what it's precise name is, but it's the first of the 3 major choices)
3) V-Sync = Adaptive
4) FPS = 90
So, at first I had EVERYTHING maxxed, but with a bezel corrected res of 5810 x 1080 - no other combo of settings allowed for fluid gameplay at that res with the first option maxxed. Lowering the res down to 41xx x 768 really degraded the overall quality, so keeping the res higher and that one feature down a notch made things buttery smooth in 2D & 3D. I couldn't really tell the diff. between the 2 notches either, unless I literally put my nose to the screen, and even then..
The only other exception was for the 'Enhanced Rain' - I have this off because I am using that MOD that disables the rain when playing in surround because it REALLY breaks the illusion that 3D Comapt Mode actually does a decent job at providing! The Compat 3D experience, in this title, is STILL leaps and bounds better than 2D.
To elaborate a bit, there are numerous times while playing that the 3D looks NEARLY as good as the real thing. Configured properly, the only real 3D issues I have are as follows:
1.) The occasional Haloing, but if you get the right depth & conv. (where batman just barely pop's out of the screen while not moving at all)
2.) Reading some text and menus can be a bit challenging, but once you get used to the game this becomes less relevant anyway.
3.) Occasionally when driving the batmobile and/or transitioning from the BMobile to being on foot, the comv. gets a bit wonky, but if you zoom in or get in the car again and get back out, will fix it.
4.) The last, and most serious part is detective vision. Occasionally it's fine, but more often than not, conv changes and it looks like you are hovering above the floor as the geometry of the environment changes, but you don't.
So, there it is, that last part is really the worst of it, the bulk of it is more than enjoyable for me, it's not ideal no, but it's more than fine for me at this point.

You purchase a key where you don't know its origin. That's all. Just take care to buy a key for your region or especially global. I was also a bit skeptical in the beginning, but now I started to check regularly those pages for good offers.

This is caused by the lights and changes with AA settings to OK up to worstest. 90 FPS and Adaptive is flickering @ minimum but stil there, other graphic options did not effect this :-(
//EDITH: The Flickering is gone, putting the exe to "Halo: Spartan Assault"... The CM halos are bit more but the rest is fine !! Even the loading time is amazing shorter than @ the other profiles....
//EDITH2: Putting the exe to "Krater" will have the same good effect as HALO-SA, but with UI near screen depth....if someone prefere....
BUT: Hopefully Mike and co will work on a fix soon, i loved the previous games in FULL-3D :-)
Mike , Can you tell us please if there any progress with the fix or did you left this project?
Tanks
The fix is still "active" - myself and Bo3b are looking at it. I still don't have much time, but I have fixed most haloing and decals. We are still having problems identifying the shaders for lights and shadows, which will need some consolidated time to sort out, if ever. If I give up, I will let people know.
**There is no ETA on this fix, as I can only look at it when I get gaps. Others may want to join in and help/take over, which might find a solution quicker.
If you really want to play the game now, use CM mode as explained elsewhere in the thread.
Hi guys , Do you have some news regarding the fix of this title?
Neither myself nor Bo3b have had any time to work on it. If someone else wants to throw their hat in the ring that would be great, I can send them what I have. I see that DarkStarsword has significantly updated 3DMigoto's features, and that might prove useful for an issue we are having with lighting.
