There are two parts to this: (1) the stereo viewing method and (2) the stereo-capable laptop. How you're going to view the stereo image affects which laptop you need to buy. Traditional stereo viewing with active stereo glasses is impossible because there are no laptops that have a stereo DIN connector (please correct me if I'm wrong). So you'll need an external display, like the Miracube, that takes a single video connection, or one that takes separate left eye and right eye inputs, like many stereo projectors.
The Dell Latitude E6500 might work because it has DisplayPort and VGA outputs. But it is a Quadro NVS (optimized for 2D business graphics) and not a Quadro FX (optimized for 3D), so it is unclear if the graphics driver will support stereo or not. Get a commitment that you can return it if it doesn't work.
When I asked the visbox.com support folks a similar question, they said that the HP 8719w (Quadro FX 1600M/3600M) and the Dell Precision M6300 (Quadro FX 1600M/3600M) would work. Other current Quadro FX laptops with multiple video outputs should work too.

I have asked Dell to provide me with a laptop that supports Quad-Buffered Stereo.
They came back with this recommendation:
256MB NVIDIA Quadro NVS 160M for Black Latitude E6500
I have been unable to find ANY documentation to support there claim that Quad-Buffered Stereo is supported under XP for this graphics card.
Please help.
