Steams having a pretty big Halloween sale, with a lot of horror/zombie themed games among them. There are a few I already have, and a couple i'm thinking about buying, but the 3D compatibility will be a dealbreaker.
I was going to make a list of all the games, but then I looked at just how many games there are on the sale and I'm too lazy so here's a list of ones that I've tried:
Killing Floor - Very good 3D compatibility, the only odd thing is that the depth of your hands/weapon model is a bit off, so some enemies and things in the environment can appear closer to you than your own gun when they shouldnt. The game itself is well worth the price, i've put over 1,000 hours into it i'd say. 6 player co-op with about as many different perks to level up. Good, accurate weapons, with iron sights (although if you want to use high convergence you'll want to rely on 3D sights instead) with nice variety.

Resident Evil 5 - Excellent. Eh, we all know the deal with this one. It's 3Dready which really just means that its got locked convergence, but at least all the effects render properly. For $10, its definitely worth it if you dont already have it
Left 4 Dead 1+2 - Excellent. Water reflections are the only thing that's off. Other than that, they're probably the best games in 3D that I've experienced.
Devil May Cry 4 - Very Good. It's been a while, but i remember playing through almost all of this game in 3D and being pretty impressed with the 3D over.
Fear 1 - Good 3D
Fear 2 - Crap 3D
Fear 3 - Garbage 3D
Dead Island - Not that great in 3D, its one of the few games that i bought in spite of poor 3D support tho.
Dead Space 1+2 - Not good, lots of shadow/lighting problems and thats most of the game, shadows. Excellent games in spite of it tho.
Borderlands - Pretty good 3D, but sickeningly low FOV
*please add your 3D rating for whatever Halloween sale games you have experience with*

There is a config tool for Borderlands that let's you change not only the FOV but things like removing the outline shader too. A google search should lead you too it. One of the patches made the game basically 3D Vision ready.

Most games support FOV changes. Widescreengaming forum has tons of hacks for it.

The FOV fixes I've seen for Borderlands havent worked for me in co-op mode. The FOV keeps getting reset. Then I found a guide that says to bind the FOV change to your movement keys but every time you sprint it resets the FOV until you push forward or whatever again, and the constant changing back and forth from my desired FOV of 100+ to the default of like 50 every time i run is sickening.
is there a better fix that i'm not aware of these days? It'd be nice if there is, cause me and my friend bought Borderlands and all teh DLC a while back but havent played it at all since neither of us could stand the FOV headache.

Silent Hill Homecoming works pretty well, it has some issues with puzzles but the most of the game is very playable and really scary, perfect halloween game /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Great for for a single play. Each campaign last about an hour if you want to factor that in for value for money :) Some of the levels in L4D2 are water heavy which is seriously screwed in 3D but the rest are great. Also the 3D sky box is the wrong depth but that is less of an issue in this game because you often dont see it.
