Titanfall

Yea - try to get Crysis 3 to work with wrapper. Getting proper 3D in this game is the crown. You got everything there DX11 and 64bit code.

I know we can only speculate, but is it likely we'll be seeing 64-bit become the new standard for AAA titles?

I wish I had played the beta, 'cause I fell for the hype and bought it for $37 and I find it to be kind of a mess. Too chaotic, too skewed toward Titan combat I miss Modern Warfare 1 on the Killhouse map - my favorite close quarters MPFPS experience ever

Skewed towards Titan combat? I find myself ignoring my Titan half the time, in favour of running around as a pilot. Not because I dislike being in the Titan, I've just found the parkour to be really fun.

To me it's proof positive that more does not equal better It feels like 3 or 4 completely different games are running at the same time and I find the whole thing very discordant. And I have enjoyed pure mech games (Mechwarrior, Armored Core, etc) in the past I know I'm going against popular critic and audience opinion here, but I just don't feel that the play styles mesh at all

We'll have to agree to disagree there. I find the agility of the pilots against the strength of the titans to be a fun and dynamic contrast.
I know we can only speculate, but is it likely we'll be seeing 64-bit become the new standard for AAA titles?
Just speculation as you note. I do expect 64 bit to become mainstream, because the new consoles are 64 bit systems, and that will make more native code 64 bit. Secondly, 4G of RAM for a given program is not always enough. (64 bit OS, 4G of a 32 bit address just for the game). With high-res texture packs, and 1440p or 4K screens, 4G won't be enough. Now how long will that take- I don't really expect it to happen for at least a couple of years. Technology time is much, much faster than game dev time. We are only barely getting into DX11 only games, like 6 years after release, and it was native to Win7 at release.

The only reason I haven't uninstalled is that I have a couple of people who want to try it out before i do :\

It looks like yuplay now has Russian-locked keys only for Titanfall. Don't buy from there any more. You can, however, buy from the Origin Mexico store with a VPN, and get a region free copy for around $40.

COD I see in combat. Hawken I see in mechs [not just mechs, there movement and fast paced nature]. Tribes I see in aerial movement [Much improved + parkour]. Not saying thats a bad thing. Lots of "better games" are made from ideas of others. I watched a few matches on twitch and found it pretty entertaining. It seemed to blend together well. I can't really give good advice since I havent really played it but should try Last Mech Standing if you aren't enjoying the "blend". Maybe it will make a difference since your pretty much always in mech.
