Can't get Viewsonic V3d245 working with 3D Vision
I just purchased a Viewsonic V3d245 monitor and I can't get 3D to work. I have the latest Drivers installed 295.73. I enabled steroscopic and go thru the setup wizzard but fails the hardware test. I have a Digital Storm ODE level 3 computer with two 570's in SLI mode. The wizzard does say I have an embedded IR emmitter, 3d glases and the correct drivers installed. Once I click next I get to the test screen I close the right and left eyes and still see the triangle and circle. How can I get this work work? My 3d glasses are fully charged as well.

Thanks
Greg

I have been having a problem with mine as well.
I have the veiwsonic and the GTX 580 galaxy, I have all the drivers installed and when I run the wizard, the 4 options to choose:
USB IR emitter
Wireless glasses
Pro Hub Glasses
Descover Glasses

I'm very new to 3d vision and I have a laptop with a GTX400M series card and the drivers I installed for that one actually installed the 3dTV Play (which I am led to believe is the correct install)

I'm really at a stone wall here and have no idea where to even start.

Greg,

When you go through the wizard, are you running 3dTV Play, or 3D Vision?
My laptop has a gtx 400m gpu and when I did the driver download via the search form, I never got to choose between the 2 types. It automatically gave me 3dtv play, in which the 3d vision DID work.
However when I installed the drivers for my PC with the gtx 580 galaxy, it gives me the 3d vision, in which as I have stated with the 4 options, cannot get past the second screen which tells you to connect everything and turn on the glasses.

If you are running 3dtv play, did you have to install the 3dtv play authenticator with the sn? I did not have to install that on my laptop, it just started working without any form of SN key.

Greg,

Would you mind giving me a step by step procedure on how you made it work?
Do you have an option in the wizard for wireless emitter/3d glasses, I do not.

Most Appreciated.

I have the same problem with the viewsonic v3d245-sent the first one back-received replacement yesterday-still no 3D. I have windows Vista 32 bit-
q6600 quad core processor, 4 gigs installed ram, gtx 550 ti card. I even "faked" the test to see what would happen. Saw the 3D double image pictures.
Green light on monitor never has come on. Anyone know how to activate the built in emiter in the V3D245? I can't believe i got two bad monitors.
thanks,
Bob
