Acer GN245HQ vs Viewsonic V3D245 Need help picking a 3D monitor
Hi guys,

I've recently upgraded from an ATi 4890 Crossfire setup to 2 x GTX 580. My primary reason for going Nvidia is for gaming in 3D, as since owning a Nintendo 3DS I've really come to appreciate 3D (and it helps that I get zero headaches with 3D).

It's come time to choose a monitor, but I'm having difficulty finding decent reviews of the major ones available. As I'd like also like HDMI 1.4 support for 3D with my PS3 (so the IR emitter must be built into the monitor itself), the decision has come down to these two:

Acer GN245HQ

vs

Viewsonic V3D245
http://www.engadget.com/2011/08/01/viewsonic-reveals-24-inch-v3d245-3d-monitor-ships-this-month-fo/

Does anyone have experience / thoughts / opinions with either of these monitors?

My priorities in order are:
1) Minimal crosstalk / ghosting
2) High contrast (colour accuracy doesn't bother me, I actually prefer very low gamma and high saturation)
3) Still look good in 2D, especially at 120hz
4) Low enough input lag that I won't notice it, but I'm not gaming competitively or anything

Thanks in advance for your help!

I own the Acer...

Very pleased with the picture 2d/3d quality, because it was exactly the same as my 2d XL2370 led monitor from Samsung...!
It has very dark blacks but is pretty bright aswel ,because of the led backlight...
It has some color ghosting, more noticible in games like AssasinsCreed, but it lots of games the ghosting is hardly visible, compared to the old Rz2233 from Samsung...

I play almost every game ,but mostly shooters like Badco and Moh...,andf I have to say this screen is alot easy'er for the eyes then my old 2233 was when playing shooters...!

Don't know if it had HDMI 1.4 support tho...because I don't use that...

There is an review of this monitor on Bloody's blog...
