When you buy your NVidia 3D Vision Kit, there's a little black book labelled "3D VISION Quick Start Guide." Page 6, Section 03 "Installation and Setup," there's a diagram of the back of the IR Emitter (left side of book).

On this diagram there's a line pointing from the VESA Stereo Cable Port that reads:

VESA Stereo Cable Port
For DLP HDTVs, connect VESA stereo cable to display.
Please contact NVIDIA support for an accessory cable kit.

I would've recommended that.

However, I just talked to NVidia Support and cited this book. If you'd like a transcript, let me know.

In short:
- All 3D Vision Kits sold in the US have the VESA Stereo Cable included
- All 3D Vision Kits in the EU don't. (Assumption: NTSC/PAL)
- ASUS Monitors "with 3D Vision Kits" were packaged with the EU Kit and then resold in the US. (For shame ASUS! It's not the same product!)
- Technical Support does NOT supply cables
- Sales and Marketting don't know what they're doing.
- You can ONLY buy the NVidia recommended part in EU
- The part# is: PNY QSP-3DV-KIT
- PNY closes at 6pm EST
- Bottom of this NVidia site says:
For Quadro boards with a stereo connector, use the 3-pin mini-din to 1/8” stereo cable that comes with the 3D Vision kit to connect the graphics board to the emitter.
Maybe just a straight 2.5mm male to 2.5mm male TRS cable would work...
