Hello, I've bought Benq XL2420T monitor and nvidia 3D vision kit 2 for 3D gaming
and this is what I get when I use them
I have GTX690 for graphics so I don't think my setup has any compatibility issues

The ghosting at the top and bottom is so severe that it feels like I am not even wearing glasses
I tried many things to get it working properly, but I couldn't find a fix.
So I am trying to get a refund.
But they are saying that it is normal and other 3D kits have the same issue.
But when I saw 3D laptops entire image looked normal so I cannot agree with that statement.
Please tell me what you think.
The ghosting is so severe that only 30% of the monitor displays proper 3D
And it will be good to share the picture of your setup with the same image displayed.
I can show it to the company.
No, i don't think thats normal at all. I have a 3D Vision 2 VG278H and i can't imagine seeing that. I don't have that game loaded up so i can't take a screenshot to show it, but here is 3D Vision blog's review of the VG278H, which tried that game out with it. The most crosstalk inducing game i've played is Mirror's Edge and i don't remember anything quite like that.

NVIDIA TITAN X (Pascal), Intel Core i7-6900K, Win 10 Pro,
ASUS ROG Rampage V Edition 10, G.Skill RipJaws V 4x 8GB DDR4-3200 CL14-14-14-34,
ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q, ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q, Acer Predator XB280HK, BenQ W710ST
i have much less ghosting then on the picture from OP but still a little too much of it for my taste.
i have an acer 3dvsion2 montior with integrated emitter and a amd cpu.
would it help to disable usb2.0 even if the transmitter is directly on the monitor?
@Libertine
It is one of the images that ships with nvidia 3D picture viewer
tomb raider underworld - 4 - esrb t pegi 12+.jps
@Kingping1
Yeah I've seen that - but my system is not AMD based : I use core i7-3970x, ASUS rampage IV extreme
I tried bandwidth stuff but it did not work either
I don't have my 27" hooked up right now. I'll get to it soon im sure, but I just loaded it up on my 2010 Sony NX711 which has 3 to 4 times as much crosstalk on it and had much, much less than your photo. That screen has a problem. Or is perhaps just very inexpensive?

at 7:40 he shows the monitor through the glasses and I see no ghosting....
I returned both my monitor and my glasses but they are not willing to give me a refund :/
They should, that is WAY too much ghosting for 3D Vision 2. Unusable. Even my very first gen 3DTV with tons of crosstalk has less, as i mentioned. Check out digital versus's review of this monitor. They have some crosstalk test results you can use to compare yours with. They mention an "overdrive" setting, do you have that enabled?

Yeah I also tried turning that setting on/off
in factory settings it was turned on, but when I turned it off the ghosting got way more severe that I couldn't see any 3D, as if not wearing glasses

If i were you i'd make another thread with Benq XL2420T in the title so it's more clear to other owners that you need their help. I don't think the mods would mind.
