I've been done more experimentation so far with Dark Souls 2 as well and I managed to make something relatively nice;))
Also managed to make the constants work:)) which only took me 1 day to figure it out why it wasn't working initially hahaha:))
I am very excited about this new information :))))))))))

F1 can still be used for switching manually.
Some effects still render wrong:
- Water halos... I find the shader but I cannot dump it no matter what.
- Fire flames... same as above.
This is pretty much all that I can do for the game at this stage.
Latest version of the Fix is attached.

Can you dump the pixelshader? Doesnt have to be vertex to fix. PM it to me if so.
I can search and find both a pixel and a vertex shader for the water reflections. However the VS NOR the PS are dumped with DumpAll= true . Hotkeys also don't work in this game...:( So I have no idea what to actually do:)

I've had certain games not like it when certain keys were mapped but other were fine.
Edit:for the hell of it try adding
InitMouse=False
to the ini?
Edit:Is the Dumps folder being created by the dll? This is an unreal engine game, right? Doesn't it sometimes created the folder in the parent directory? If the Dumps folder and all sub-folders isn't in the same folder as the dll it won't save/dump Shaders.

Yes is an Unreal Engine.
Yes I have changed the key bindings as well. Still can't manually dump.
Yes the Dumps Folder is created and Vertex Shaders + Pixel Shaders ARE CREATED !!! Just not all of them OR the in-game CRC32 doesn't match the ONE in the Naming of the dump.txt file ;))
So far this is the only game I've seen this thing....
Big thx for trying to help me ;))

The only other thing I can think of is ... the SteamOverlayBug is causing this. You mentioned your ShaderOverride was crashing on older dlls(this happens with the bug), and maybe even though you disabled the ShaderOverride the CRC conflict was still there preventing you from dumping the Shader? ... you have no idea how much I want to buy this game just to be able to mess with this issue. Lol ... if it was $20 I would have bought it already ... sad isn't it? :)

psst ... did you have a chance to look into the steam overlay dll?(look up)
I'm very curious if it was/is the culprit. :)

Hi,
Sorry, I just simply forgot to post back:( I have steam overlay disabled (via-steam). No other overlay was working as well... I haven't renamed the dll file though... Maybe I should do that???

Yeah, definitely worth a try. Even though it's disabled it's still loading in and causing issues with certain dlls/fixes ... bo3b reported it to steam but as usual no one gives a flying f' about what they break ...

@helifax
Combine this fix of shadows and possibly some effects[I couldnt say without testing it but it won't harm anything] with your fix.
https://s3.amazonaws.com/eqznew/FABLE/ShaderOverride.zip
[I am using s1 sampler [VS] and s14 sampler [PS] so you need to change yours cause I had to because s0 is reserved for a few shaders. Anything you have that is not shadow related just overwrite.]
