I've not played it yet, but after watching the Conan video im already reminded how i wish we had a way to recognize certain developers for their above average achievement and effort.

I recorded first 4 mins of game if anyone is interested http://www.3dvisionlive.com/ugc/25530/tomb-raider-3d Amazing 3d aside, its probably still the best PC game as far as graphics/performance even as a AMD game.

I'm going to play it now as well. I just got the Tomb Raider 10 pack on the Steam sale. What really surprised me, is that they emulate 3dfx voodoo in the original TR 1 and 2. It's been over a decade since I played the originals, so looks like I got my work cut out for me LOL. I did start up the 2013 version, and the graphics and 3d are really great! Among the best I've seen on my pc.

Hello, I recently bought a 3D monitor ASUS VG278HR with nvidia 3D vision 2 kit but when I wanted to play through the whole tomb raider game again, probably for the 10th time I just can't. Everytime I setup the stereoscopic 3D , the game is really choppy and unplayable, like the game is playing in 10 fps....but when I play the game without the stereoscopic 3D on, the game is flawless and the framerate is as high as 150 fps....with every setting turned to the max.

Hm, I'm having that issue too. Not as badly as you are, but it's definitely running poorly compared to my first playthrough. Win 8.1, latest drivers, 660 SLI.

Yep. I tested it in 3d and 2d. In 2d, I get a nice boost from SLI. In 3d, my framerate is actually lower in SLI.

On the other hand with sli turned on it went straight down to 10 fps.

Tried older drivers? Need to determine whether it's a driver issue, a win 8.1 issue, or an issue with the game. I have no desire to replay it so I'm not up for spending a lot of time diagnosing the issue, but if there's anything you want me to confirm with another test let me know.

I just fired up the game again for the first time in months and it's running OK here with everything on Ultra except TressFX turned off. I am win 7 though, not Win 8. I am getting mostly constant 60 FPS in 3D, with SLI (2x 770), though did get some dips to high 30s/low 40s when next to a camp fire, but that's almost certainly a game issue. I am on latest WHQL driver.

It must be a windows 8.1 issue then
