These exclusives are annoying me to crazyness... I will buy a 3d-tv when their image is starting to look somewhat proper and support is good. But buying just to see one single movie.... Noway. /yucky.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':yucky:' />

Got to agree on that one, although my Zalman Trimon is doing a very good job at displaying Bluerays in 3D, there are just not enough movies worth it. All the good onces are exlusives. How on earth are we ever going to get anywhere this way? xD

Agreed, to speed up the success of 3D, we need it in as many homes as possible, with as much viewable media as possible, gaining as big a audience as possible, so thus resulting in friends of friends liking what they see and going out and buying for themselves. In this 'stupid' time of exclusives, though I appreciate each blu-ray will increase sales of the particular unit it ships with, none of this is helpfull to the success of 3D and a definite negative to those currently sat on the fence considering dipping into the 3D market.

With 3D titles being so few & far between, this act of making movies that actually are 3D not available to the mainstream market, can only have a negative effect
Wow seriously?? Youre not very smart are you.

I know how u can get them. Save your pennies, (you do have a job dont you?) WAIT for the movies to be released, then BUY them when they come out. Youre a big boy, you can wait like everyone else.
the only way to get them is to download them illegally. the bulk of them have become exclusive to some pack and since i dont have a samasung or panasonic or sony 3dtv it doesnt make sense to buy them. so who's the smart one know unless you think its smart to buy a 3d samsung pack when i dont even have a 3d samsung tv spend 400 bucks on it. thats alot of pennies

and as for the downloading of them movies. i got the original info off these sights from a very nice gentlemen. He helped me get all

I would not download, nor condone downloading movies illegally, but isn't part of the blu ray spec that attempting to play an illegal blu ray disc will permanently disable the blu ray player that attempted to play the disc?

No that "player disabling" ability is the other way around. You can play whatever you want on your BluRay player, legal or not the player is unable to tell the difference.

Only real legal discs can nuke your player if the manufacturer does not respect the copy protection or did not pay his royalties to the BluRay Disc Association.
The nuking system is not automatic, it has to be found by the studios and added to a black list that is contained on every new pressed BluRay disc being published.
The nuking system is not targeted at consumers, it's a measure to keep hardware manufacturers in check with the BD-Association.
