Ghostbusters framerate.
Any ideas to get this at 30fps or above whilst in 3d, ive done all the usual even lowered the res and turned detail down but it just stutters everywhere, i have a gtx260 so should be able to handle it as is has everything else ive thrown at it????

3d laser sight is off too.

well the minimum requirements for that game IS a GTX260 lol so it will not be getting close to 30 FPS in 3d mode unless you slapped a one or two more 260's in your rig. trust me i was surprised to see the requirements so high but then again it is 3d and it is a lot of processing power required to render all of those scenes

Good God, i never even noticed that!! must be a really bad port from the console version to demand that as a minimum? oh well i got it real cheap from steam anyway.

thanks.

well i think that requirement is just for 3d mode. im sure the minimum requirements for playing it regularly are a lot less and should provide much better frame rates if your not totally set on only playing it in 3d. although i cant wait to see what this game looks like in 3d lol. i just gotta get me a pair of shutter glasses.

Oh jees defo go get the glasses you wont regret it, also i'll confirm that on a gtx260 this game puts out about 12fps so is absolutely unplayable in 3d for me. Having switched to normal 2d mode it wont get much above 25fps and thats at 1280x720!!!! bad port imo.

I was getting around 25 fps in some areas with a GTX 280, so I ended up having to turn some stuff down in order to keep it running smoothly. This was at 1768x992 resolution. I didnt care for the game itself that much, but it was the first game I played in 3D so I was still stoked! Then I played all the Fallout 3 DLC and was hooked.

Wow this game is amazing in 3d. Destruction and debris FTW! It heavily taxes your system though, so for the bunch of you with the newest cards, try it out. Just played this for like 3 hours straight. Bill Murray is Hilarious :D

ghostbusters is one of the worst port ever.
Poor framerate, bad mouse input. It's a pity, that game is fun.
I don't even try to play it with 3dvision.

Disagree, game ran smooth as silk @ a2560x1600 on my system.
Game is loads of fun and when I have time I will reload it to try it in 3D!
Playing with 360 game controller eliminates mouse issues!

I think ghostbusters is brilliant in 3d... there is so much eye candy and colour going on I loved it...

I have a core duo and gtx295, its runs well, but might drop to 20 when there is lots happening at once...

Yes, the framerate does dip a lot! I have a 470 and it chugs in certain spots. But it's a really fun game and best of all it works perfectly in 3d. Definitely an underrated game in my opinion. Here's a few screenies for you guys.
