Oculus Rift / VR Headset / SBS 3D Support?
I assume this has been asked before, but I can't seem to find a thread... IS there really NO WAY to get 3D Vision games to display on the Oculus Rift or other HMDs? I'm not talking about VR support, just the ability to get play on a virtual desktop in 3D... I was hoping that I could use the Rift for all 3D gaming instead of having to fire up the DLP projector for quick sessions, but it would appear that Nvidia just doesn't care to support the new headsets?

Nope:) 3D Vision is 3D Vision. VR is VR. No way of playing 3D Vision content on a VR device. And maybe is for the best as 3D Vision offers superior resolution and works best on a Display.

Well 'VR devices' are just head mounted displays that happen to include discrete screens for your left and right eye. And the 3D Vision drivers essentially provide left and right eye perspectives, so I don't see why there's no way to display the 3D image on a HMD in a sort of virtual 3D monitor? The Vorpx drivers offer this function, but the game support isn't nearly as robust as it is with 3D Vision and the helixmod community ;)
