Looking for 3D vision supported monitors?
I am buying a new computer and have been using 3D vision since it first came out. I have already found a few stores that still have the Nvidia Vision 2 glasses which should be compatible with my old emitter. Currently I have a Samsung 2233RZ which I want to replace with a new 24" or 27" 1080p monitor that supports 3D Vision, but here starts my problems. I cannot find any monitors with 3D vision support that is still available. I tried searching from Nvidia's official list, but none of the models are available anymore. http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-displays.html I have even tried seaching on google and this forum, and everytime I find recommendations and want to check the price, they are not available anymore, well at least here in Denmark. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/926224/3d-vision-monitor-2016-g-sync-4k-ips-whats-available-whats-recommended-/ It seems like none of the manufactors have any interest in telling whether or not their monitors will work with Nvidia 3D Vision, is there anything I should look for that will reveal if a monitor is compatible? I really cannot live without playing my games in S3D, so any help will be much appreciated.

This list might help
Tiens les derniers écrans 3D sorties: (List of the last 3D monitors) http://www.lcd-compare.com/moniteur-ecran-pc-liste-154.htm?3d=1&sort=new
I'd recommend going with a 2560x1440 monitor, depending on the CPU and GPU in your new system. It sucks that Nvidia has not updated their list for over 3 years As a first time poster, be sure to check out the stereoscopic compatibility fixes made by some posters in this community at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html

Maybe the quote screwed it up :( http://www.lcd-compare.com/moniteur-ecran-pc-liste-154.htm?3d=1&sort=new Or try the link directly from his post maybe https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/999898/3d-vision/best-3d-display-screen-2017-/post/5110250/#5110250 This list isn't complete, but at a quick glance it looks accurate Like the Dell S2716DG isn't on it. Note: Acer monitors have a Super Shitty naming process. There are 2D monitors that have the same model number, the only way to differentiate, is by a few obscure letters that are in the complete model number, which is never shown.

Example of Acer ACER XB270Hbmjdprz ACER XB270HAbprz So you go to Acer's shitty website to find out the difference and all you can find is https://www.acer.com/ac/en/AU/content/model/UM.HB0SA.A01 The main difference, is one has G-Sync, one does not. But no where is it crystal clear, unless you dig. Open Letter to Acer: Your Website sucks! You naming scheme sucks!
Example of Acer

ACER XB270Hbmjdprz

I've read some reviews on the ASUS MG248Q & PG248Q, they seem to be roughly the same, both supporting 3D Vision, but the PG248Q has G-sync and MG248Q has Adaptive Sync, however they both get very good reviews on their performance, sadly the 3D part isn't mentioned, but they seem to be a good deal for their price.

According to that site, they are 3D Vision capable. I have an old Acer monitors among my many 3D displays, but know nothing of the new Acer Displays. Searching the forums may help. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/824274/ A lot depends on what part of the world that you are in and what's readily available. Also take into account where you would need to ship it to, if a warranty repair is needed. Several posters have bought the Asus PG278QR and are quite happy with it. Just know that G-Sync is disabled when you enable 3D. So if you do not game in 2D, that's roughly an extra $100 spent for nothing.

I was under the impression that if it supported G-Sync it automatically supported 3D Vision... because that really had me eyeing those 30+ inch 21:9 monitors. *drool*
