For those who have played 3D/2D games both on a normal 18/30'' LCD/TFT and a 60''+ DLP HDTV.

How would you compare the two ?
And how is ghosting on a DLP HDTV ? both 2D/3D

And the thing called rainbow effect, how is that like ? is it really enoying or isnt it as bad.
I was also wondering, Mitsubishi WD-735 and WD-737 series whats the difference ?
I would stick with DLP. It's cheaper (price wise) and bigger. When the bulb goes bad, you can just replace it and it is like having a brand new TV again. With LCD's, pixels start to die and if you are like me your eye will gravitate to dead pixels all the time. LCD's (from reading these postes) have not been perfected for 3D (yet) and their appears to be some ghosting issues.
Go with DLP (I have a Samsung 61")

Hello, I have used the Viewsonic LCD and Samsung DLP for 3d gaming. The LCD is nice and gets the job done. 3d gaming on a Dlp is super awesome. I didn't notice any ghosting on the DLP. I've had no problem with driving games or FPS in 3d. I see a super slight rainbow pattern sometimes, but it's barely noticable. Check out some 3d projectors.

DLP all the way. Personally though I've played on a computer monitor my entire life...so I need to have one. The alienware monitor is the bomb. I'll go back to my DLP sometimes when they iron out the drivers for the Sammy. /sorcerer.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sorcerer:' />

I've never noticed RBE on my Samsung 61" while playing a game, and very, very rarely notice it while watching a movie.
Also, some people aren't sensitive to RBE, and others, like myself, are very sensitive to it.
