If you plan on 3D gaming the S27A950D is a better option because it has a DVI-D (dual link) connector. A DVI-D connector will allow S-3d gaming at 1920x1080p@60Hz per eye, HDMI is not capable of it. But the S27A950D does not have a TV tuner. There are also several other 27 inch S-3D monitors available, you may want to look at the Acer HN274 or Asus VG278H.
