HELP! W/ Mitsubishi WD-65C9 and 3D Vision - Not Recognized
I Just bought a Mitsubishi WD-65C9 really for the only reason but to go cheap on 3D with the vision kit. I haven't bought the 3D Vision kit yet but i downloaded the software off nvidia and tried to install it but it says that I dont have a 3d ready monitor. I also tried the site adviser and it couldn't detect my monitor at all.

Ive tried the current software, the beta software and the 1.11 software and nothing! The only change is that the only adviser went from "unsupported" to "unknown" but the software its self says I dont have a 3d display.

I have the following computer setup with my WD-65C9

EVGA 780i FTW mobo
x9650 Quad core
8gb ddr2 ram
3-way sli GTX260 Maxcore from BFG
4-30gb OZC Vertex SSD drives in Raid0
2tb 7200rpm storage drive
fully liquid cooled

Im using a dvi-hdmi adapter with a 6' 1.4 hdmi cable attached

PLEASE HELP!!! Im dying to go 3d already!

Your TV will not detected by the software as a compatible monitor... You have to choose the DLP option once detection fails.

You need the 3D vision to set it up.

When you run setup now it wont let you choose stereoscopic 3D, only 3D vision discover because you dont have the base plugged in.

So then why wont the online compatibility check find the tv?

Cause the online compatibility only looks for 120 hz monitors. Not DLPs, CRTs and projectors...
