For some reason whenever I use the SLI Profile Manager, i lose all my bespoke profiles. Its like it exports the default settings.

I've got a few requests from some members to make a video on how the game looks and acts in 3D Vision Surround. So I made a video of the first level! (Spoilers shouldn't be a problem by now...lol). It reminded me how long it takes to convert a 3D Surround resolution captured with Fraps to show it on the web...Lol;) In any case, if people are still interested, you can find the info on how to view it, save it to your PC, etc. here: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/544759/3d-vision/3d-vision-surround-video-gallery-/post/4832606/#4832606

Has anyone noticed a difference with the new DX12 patch?

There is only one poster that I've seen mentioning that they tried dx12
I have tried ashes of the singularity in dx12 mode, 3d kicks in with fullscreen and it has broken shadows but apart from that is working.
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/920792/ Ashes began dx12 development so early, I'd question as to if it's entirely dx12 or a hybrid of dx11/dx12?

I was able to run the game in DX12 and 3D Vision [s]using their 3D Mode[/s] ofc. Edit: Actually, their mode doesn't work in Dx12. What kicks in is 3D Vision Automatic mode and due to their profile everything looks weird... So...they don't support 3D Vision in DX12, except for OFF/Side-by-Side modes. /End of Edit It started and it worked but soon the game crashed...lol I also had to close all the overlays including the FPS from shadowPlay. With it, the game didn't even start... I couldn't see a big difference in performance though... but then again I wasn't able to actually measure the FPS since no overlay works with DX12... My recommendation is to best forget currently about DX12 as is very crashy... They obviously need more testing;) It was because of people wanting DX12 that it got added (since they believed it will do miracles, which clearly doesn't ^_^). Edit: By the number of patches and new things Nixxies is adding to the game I feel this game is actually an experiment for them;) rather than normal Software Support;) Don't get me wrong, I like that they are adding new stuff but all their additions are incomplete or broken... 3D Vision patch incomplete with lots of issues, DX12 mode incomplete without SLI support, crashing the drivers, etc... I just wish they stop updating the game more often than a MMO, fix all the bugs without adding new stuff and then just let it rest on a stable version;)
I was able to run the game in DX12 and 3D Vision using their 3D Mode ofc.
Is it possible to generate call logs and see if Nvidia is hooking into something different when dx12 is used? To perhaps confirm that dx12 support is now in the drivers going forward?

Shadows are bit messed up but it certainly kicks in.

Big thanks for sharing that;) Obviously I need to do the tests in SINGLE GPU and SINGLE screen... cause SLI is non existent...and in Surround I get around 15 FPS from what I "eye-measured"... Funny even on DX11 with one GPU in Surround I get around 20-25FPS (measured) and definitely feels less choppy than in DX12. Oh, this was in the Main Menu, didn't even attempted to start the actual game lol...

Well, after 39 hours I have finally finished the game. Since I have no interest in their challenge modes, I'm moving onto my next backlog game, Assassin's Creed: Black Flag. I haven't looked yet, but hopefully it has good 3d Surround support, otherwise I'll be checking these forums again :) Thanks again for the wonderful support and time the team here has freely given to make RotTR shine in 3d Surround. I all but forgot about 3d gaming for quite a while, and Tomb Raider (2013) rekindled the love when I played it in January. It made me look here when starting RotTR and noticing the lack of 3d support, and I'm glad i did.
