Trouble with Samsung 2233RZ and Geforce 8600GT Error: StereoCPLAPI returned invalid video mode
Hi,

yesterday I bought my Samsung 2233 RZ 120 Hz + 3D Shutter glasses.

EDIT because its urgent: If u have a working solution for me, you'll be rewarded with 10 Euros per Paypal!
But I have 2 Problems:

1. At boot, there is no screen.. first screen appears on Win7 Logon.
2. I have no 1680 x 1050 resolution, although I installed the newest Samsung drivers and this driver is recognized by Win7.
I got only 800x600 1024x768 and 1280x720.
3. 120 Hz Refresh rate is only enlisted if I choose 1024x768.

What did I do until now:
-Newest Samsung driver and Nvidia 3D driver(Nvidia 3D Vision CD 1.11) installed.
But if I want to install 3D Drivers this error pops up:
"StereoCPLAPI returned invalid video mode (4095x32760) from StereoLauncher->get DefaultModeInfo"

-I updated my BIOS

-I have pluged in only my Samsung monitor(with DVI) so it is also my main monitor.

PC-Info:
Windows 7 Prof. 64 Bit
Intel Q6600
Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3L
3GB RAM
Geforce 8600 GT (it is supported by 3D Vision, but only for movies and pics. Look here

I think my Monitor is the problem because it doesn't support 1680 x 1050 @ 120 Hz .
But what else can I do?

Thanks for any suggestions! /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

So you don't have a second display that is set as primary while trying to use the Samsung?

You are using the DVI cable that came with the display, not another one that might not be a dual-link DVI?

The driver error you are getting is probably because the video card is not officially supported for games or the display not correctly recognized. I usually get this error when forgetting to set the primary display to the one capable of supporting 3D Vision... do the drivers recognize the display as 120Hz Samsung?
So you don't have a second display that is set as primary while trying to use the Samsung?

No, I'm using the DVI-D cable that came with my Samsung. I checked the pins of the cable. They are OK.

Actually, it is set as primary display.
In Device Manager it is recognized as "Samsung 2233". But in my display settings it is not.
