Recently i used a third party glass and a 3D Vision emitter with my laser beamer. I would now like to use my original nvidia glasses again. Problem is, the sides seem to be switched: if i turn the glasses around, everything looks perfect 3D. I hope you know the problem.
Now, how can i switch the sides? I thougt it was a short press an the only button there is, bit it does nothing...

You could try running the 3D Setup Wizard again... Control Panel > Stereoscopic 3D > Test Stereoscopic 3D(DropDown) > Run Setup Wizard... only this time lie to it, choose the opposite of what you see.
I had to do this with my DLP/3DV1 setup recently... if I chose the correct L/R images then the 3D test images and app look normal but games* are reversed. Lying to it makes the games* play correctly but then the test images/app is reversed...bug? If I was still using my DLP-Link glasses I wouldn't have even noticed it...
*before I updated to 362.00 Drivers I'd only see this occasionally, on (possibly?)only DX10 games... the funny thing now is if I don't lie to it, the only thing's that are right are the test images/app and Dx10(Oceanhorn) games... :)

Did you try it? It works fine on mine...
Another thing you can try is reversing the InterleavePatternN in the Registry... if yours were aa55aa55 then the following Saved as a .reg and Run would swap them.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D]
"InterleavePattern0"=dword:55aa55aa
"InterleavePattern1"=dword:55aa55aa
edit:remove Wow6432Node\ for 32bit

Thanks TsaebehT,
your suggestions would have been very useful for me too, but bad luck, it looks like nvidia has locked things down some time ago:
The setup wizard will not let me reverse my choose in the test, returning an error if i do "lie" to it.
and
I do not have those "interleavePattern0" or "...1" in my registry entries.
So it is more likely that you have an older driver version, right ?

No I'm using fairly recent Drivers, 362.00, and lying to it works for me... maybe something to do with it being a 3D Vision Display, not 3DTV Play? Mitsubishi WD-65c9... or because it's using Checkerboard 3D, so it uses a InterleavePattern?
Usually I run a Script whenever I update Drivers because I'm too lazy to go through the Setup Wizard, when I do this I don't have InterleavePattern entries in the Registry either, afaik they only show up after you've successfully gone through the Setup Wizard... adding (and swapping) the InterleavePatterns won't hurt anything if your setup isn't using them but it also won't help anything either...
Like I said above before I updated to these newer Drivers(362.00 from 358.50) only a few (DX10?) games were reversed and now EVERYTHING is reversed, except for those few games and the NVIDIA test images/app, unless I lie to it... and even then it's not fixing everything, pretty sure this is a bug introduced in the more recent Drivers.

I tried running through my Mitsubishi 3DA-1 3D Adapter... that way I can get 3DTV Play, instead of 3D Vision and reinstalled Drivers, hoping to be able to poke around a bit but no luck.
After doing this I wasn't able to lie during the 3D Setup Wizard and on top of that I wasn't able to use my 3D Vision Glasses because the Emitter doesn't turn on with 3DTV Play... which makes me curious how/why they're working with your DLPs(FP) using 3DTV Play and not mine(RP), are you guys using EDID Overrides?
If so, that might explain why the sync is reversed because it's for a different setup... if not, maybe they botched it somewhere down the line like they just did with mine in recent Drivers...

I do not own 3D vision emitter nor glasses. I use the 3D-RF emitter and the glasses that came with my projector. That emitter (from Bit-Cauldron) is plugged directly into the rear of the projector, it has no usb link with the computer like nvidia's emitter has.

So it appears that 3D vision users are able to invert sync by "lying" to the setup wizard while 3DTV play users are not allowed to ? Wow!
What's the point for 3D vision user being able to invert sync ?
It's all nVidia's pipeline there!
On the other hand there are MANY situations where 3DTV Play's driver needs to adapt its sync to various hardwares that are not nVidia's stuff and so has different settings!
...but it is not allowed to.
Obvious?
