Multiplayer / Splitscreen 3D gaming - Do we know of any other splitscreen games that play well i
Sometimes when im feeling extra generous and foolish, I let the grandchildren into the normally locked computer room, putting away the 'Kids not welcome' sign. We would normally watch a 3D movie on the big projector screen, or see the kids gaze in amazement as I show off the 3D Aquarium screensaver for the 100th time. Sometimes, we play games, but the choice is very restrictive. As far as I am aware (im sure their must be others) we only have a choice of two titles, both of which play extremely well in 3D, namely; [.]Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing[/.] [url]http://www.3dsolutiongaming.com/2013/05/sonic-sega-all-stars-racing/[/url] I have added screenshots to this page now to compliemnt the video [.]F1 Race Stars[/.] [url]http://www.3dsolutiongaming.com/2013/03/f1-race-stars/[/url] I must admit, we haven't gamed together in 3D for a while, it was only because of a recent eqzitara post, that made me fish out All-Stars - once again it was great to see their complete amazement. Even though I had to purposely crash about 15 times to avoid winning. ... any other splitscreen gaming suggestions?

Lego Batman 2 and Lego Star Wars 3: Clone Wars are great for kids and have split screen. Need 50% depth though due to super high convergence.

Should probably make sure to drop down the depth for the kiddies also, lower ipd and all. Couldn't hurt to break out the ruler ... although they may go running, I know I sure would! :D

Clone wars works? From what I read I thought it went insane with settings like it goes all over the place with convergence like some weird action cam. Not that I always believe whats said. Im getting more and more picky though[Which I knock others for but Ironically I am a biggest culprit] I really didn't like the separation on lego lord of the rings unit images, I believe it even exceeded max depth. Perhaps I should of just settled with less depth though. Well anywho in case I am being too picky, Lego Lord of The rings works. Demo is free just google it.

@Eqzitara Yeah Clone Wars works but convergence is super high in places, and swings from high to low, especially with cut scenes (worse than Lego Batman 2). But main gameplay is OK. Like Lego Batman 2 though, needs to be lower depth (50%-ish) @TsaebehT Yup, need lower separation for the munchkins, but I was surprised by my son's ability to just put the glasses on and immediately see everything no problem (I don't have pop out in my games so that helps, though I did show him a snowy mountain scene in Oblivion which he thought was cool having snowflakes come out the screen).

I did it lego lord of the rings before stopping. Lego batman I played at 75% because I dont really mind high convergence [or at least up to that point] regardless it kind of goes into what I was thinking. I have a theory about Lego Batman/other lego games but it was after I uninstalled. It doesnt really matter since it will be forgotten. Like I post here and poof. Maybe Ill still try it *shrug* Like we all played it at 50-70% depth. That doesnt make sense we all play on different size display's like my display is literally three times the size as yours. So my 50% depth is MUCH less then your 50%. Convergence must be based on our 3D vision depth %. Likes its scaling based on Depth % and convergence is multiplier based on %. So if we depth hacked our displays so its twice as small wouldn't 50% depth be 100% depth on our old display and convergence be the same "range"? Not really useful now I guess, but perhaps if another lego game comes out and I forget or whatever someone can think on it.

I honestly dont pay attention to the local co-op feature but I do know 3D. Will list ones I know work/heard about from Mana84's list [not looking at nvidia ratings since...I dont trust them]. Rayman Origins [3d vision ready] Serious Sam 3: BFE [Okay] Dungeon Siege 3 [3d vision ready practically] Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light [great] Dungeon Defenders [great. I need to update] Kane & Lynch [okay] Left 4 Dead 2 (mod required) Blur [Mana84 patched] Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing [practically 3d vision ready] Dirt 3 [heard good things] Trine [3d ready] Trine 2 [3d ready] Bang Bang Racing [I heard its near 3d ready] Overlord II [Mike ar patched] Resident Evil 5 [Need convergence unlocker. near 3d vision ready][url]http://z6.invisionfree.com/Resident_Evil_4_PC/index.php?showtopic=16219[/url] Resident Evil 6 [Good] Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing Transformed [excellent/great] The First Templar [I hear its on wrong profile but good, dunno] Lego Games [They range all over but are all playable. I remember some people had issues in a version of lego star wars[complete?] that others didnt. Im almost positive its profile related]

only one note about Blur, I really enjoyed playing it with friends in splitscreen... unfortunately I had issues with 3d vision in the second player view... so I decided to update my patch, meantime I managed to fix even other issues (shadows, lighting and other..) but I didn't released new patch becouse I wanted it to be 100% perfect before releasing it... in my wip unreleased version I was at about 99% complete but I had to stop becouse I was busy and other things... make me know if you (or someone) are interested. Otherwise I'm planning to complete it later on when I get the time.

When your happy with the fix, let us know, and we'll do our usual video and screens on the SG site

It was the grandkids that got me thinking about 3D split screen, but the post has indeed grown to all splitscreen games in general.
