UPDATE Unfortunately I have now experienced random disabling of 3D as well, which then lead to a crash after about 5min. Positives: - no On Screen Text in one Eye only - haven't noticed Blood Decals render at wrong depth - haven't noticed Targeting reticule switch to an X, when an Enemy is killed - haven't noticed grass and some smaller plants render in one eye only - no more slight greyish shade in the left eye during night time, depending on lighting (after disabling MSAA) - flickering in the pause menu after enabling sli is gone Negatives: - random disabling of 3D - Crashes - Ghosting (Installed latest Driver before I played the first time, so don't know any different) - overall huge fps hit, when i try to crank everything up as much as possible (below 15fps), - the more i turn stuff down, the less i like the way it looks ... which makes me really sad, seing what it 'could' look like in 3D with everything maxed out. I've quit playing in 3D for the time being cause i get well over 60fps withought it and i can pretty much max everything out. What Settings are you Guys using that aren't having any Ghosting problems? (with the f3-f4 / convergence settings)
UPDATE

Unfortunately I have now experienced random disabling of 3D as well, which then lead to a crash after about 5min.

Positives:

- no On Screen Text in one Eye only
- haven't noticed Blood Decals render at wrong depth
- haven't noticed Targeting reticule switch to an X, when an Enemy is killed
- haven't noticed grass and some smaller plants render in one eye only
- no more slight greyish shade in the left eye during night time, depending on lighting (after disabling MSAA)
- flickering in the pause menu after enabling sli is gone

Negatives:

- random disabling of 3D
- Crashes
- Ghosting (Installed latest Driver before I played the first time, so don't know any different)
- overall huge fps hit, when i try to crank everything up as much as possible (below 15fps),

3D will occasionally become disabled for no reason. Definitely observed on single GPU, uncertain about SLI I'm finding that the game will run fine in 3d just driving around etc, but it is broken and will disabled for me whenever I'm in a mission. So at this stage the game is unplayable. I have tried to turn all my graphics settings down and I even set the game to run in DX10 but the problem still persist. I'm running the game on a single GPU and my system meet all the Recommended Specifications. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I tried to leave a message with Rockstar games and that doesn't even work.

[quote="fish99"][quote="jason888"]- memory leak causing crashes within minutes. Fixed that by enablng the page file. I'm one of the stubborn few that refuses to use it, but lately I'm finding more and more reason to leave it enabled.

I see a disturbing trend here with 3d. Dragonage had this SLI issue on the default profile with rendering text only in one eye, and now in this game too, as well as the 3d turning off. Seems to me the fault must lie with Nvidia.

The problem I'm having is GPU usage is maxing out. The GPU usage varies depending on the resolution. At 4K in 3D it's at like 78% and I'm getting like 24 fps. At 2560x1440 the GPU usage is about 55% and the frame rate is at like 40 fps. Even at 1080p I'm getting less than 60 fps in a lot of places and GPU usage is around 40%. When I turn off 3D I can max the game out at 4K resolution run 60 fps pretty much solid. I've tried changing every in game setting and none of them have any effect on the GPU usage. AFR2 cuts performance significantly. I tried OCing way higher to see if that would help, but it doesn't really do much. So 3D is pretty much broken for me at any playable resolution.

If I hit CTRL+T to disable and enable it again I get a crash after. On my SLI(Surround; in Surround SLI acts different than SLI+ 1 Screen) I have played around 4hours and everything worked just fine with the default profile. (no AFR2 change). So I think is defo something in the drivers that either didn't get updated or got broken...
