not exactly sure what your talking about but that should be all relavent data,

yes i did infact click the windows 7 link that andrew posted[/quote]

Ok. I had a problem where the S-3D link went to the correct page, but the file was wrong when downloading. I had to download the independent S-3D driver file.

I have posted that on the sticky about 186.18 but in order to have all info together I copy it here:

Mine is also Windows 7 x64 RC 7100 (Spanish version) with latest updates through windows update, and I get from time to time (not always) BSOD. I didn't have them before with the 185 drivers. As always I have uninstalled Nvidia ESA System tools, nvidia PhysX, nvidia stereo, Nvidia NAM, Nvidia Forceware and Nvidia nForce, restarted in safe mode, runned Driver sweeper and Driver cleaner 3.4 with all nvidia filters. Rebooted and reinstalled. That has never failed that I am aware of.

I have tried quickly CODWW, COD4, L4D, COD2 and I found BSOD in L4D (not always) but more frequently than in others, in COD4 or CODWW never, and in COD2 two times (but I have been able to play it quite a lot too w/o bsod). I found it also when trying Silent Hunter III (which by the way doesn't work at all (there is not even the stereo double image on screen...)).

Q6600 @ 3.4 Hz, eVGA GTX285 1Gb FTW, eVGA 680i SLI mobo, 4 Gb OCZ 1066 @ 974Mhz, 3D vision + Samsung 2233RZ

Nevertheless this set of drivers has solved a problem I had in Windows 7 (and not in Vista), which was that when I put 120 Hz in desktop, the monitor entered *most of the time* in "3D mode", i.e. it pushed brightness to 100%, and the look of the screen was as when playing. Or otherwise, the few times I was able to set 120 Hz in desktop without entering "3D mode", then launch a game, play in 3D, and come back to desktop (quitting the game) I found the desktop in 3D mode (100% bright, etc) without possibility to return to a normal 120 Hz desktop (aside of rebooting or go 60 Hz of course). That problem were present only in W7 x64, in Vista x64 it is ok. Now with the 186.18 drivers it seems solved.

On the other hand and after a fast check, COD WAW and COD4 works now flawlessly!, you have fixed even the water in CODWW which was not correct before!

And I found CODWW, L4D, COD2 crosshair improved, not double image as before (?), now I can use it if I want (although in 3D i prefer not to use crosshair at all, more realistic )

Cooliris is cool also in 3D, next step is to have windows desktop itself in 3D and web pages too ...

I've updated to the new driver. No problems at all. Be sure to upgrade both forceware and stereo 3d driver to the same version. I also had bsd if the version number didn´t match.

I am using win 7.

Its Build 7100 and X64. Be sure to deinstall previous stereo driver and forceware.

No problems at all using 3D Vision with Windows 7 here, build 2001, but with the 32-bit version...

Hi

So your BSODs occur under Win7 64 with two displays attached? Removing a second display fixed your BSODs?
