I'm not interested services '' smart '', such as those offering LG, SAMSUNG, SONY, and so on. I'd avoid spending money for unnecessary services. I do everything by computer. I wish only the basic features. Hdmi 2.0. low input lag, and other things that you already know. Leveraging my gpu, with games in 3d. the rest comes by itself .. :) A good tip?

[/quote] UB850V is great, that's what I have. I know that anything below this (for example UB820V) does not support full 4:4:4 chroma for 3840x2160@60hz (which you need). I wouldn't worry about the specified 3D mode input lag either, since you're not going to acutally use 3D mode on the TV itself. Your GPU will simply display the line interleaved 3D picture as it would any other 2D content, the rest is up to the polarizig glasses. So you only actually get the 2D input lag of the TV, even when you're playing in 3D, unless you use the TV's built in 3D conversion functions (like from top-&-bottom or side-by-side). UB850V is great, that's what I have. I know that anything below this (for example UB820V) does not support full 4:4:4 chroma for 3840x2160@60hz (which you need).

I wouldn't worry about the specified 3D mode input lag either, since you're not going to acutally use 3D mode on the TV itself. Your GPU will simply display the line interleaved 3D picture as it would any other 2D content, the rest is up to the polarizig glasses. So you only actually get the 2D input lag of the TV, even when you're playing in 3D, unless you use the TV's built in 3D conversion functions (like from top-&-bottom or side-by-side).

You don't need a radeon card to use tridef ignition. I have the gtx 970 and it works great for me for most games. You just set the output mode to FPR /line interlaced mode for a passive TV and it works with any standard resolution, does the scaling like the aforementioned GeDosSato but works with DX 10/11 as well as 9.

I have an LG 55UB8500 and 65UF8500 and they both work with the EDID mod and with Tridef. No reason to change GPUs... I used to have a radeon 290X but my GTX 970 works just as well with Tridef but has the added benefit of also working with NVIDIA 3D and HDMI 2.0 (None of the Radeons have HDMI 2.0, even the newest Fury X)

What I found is that in the list for FPR interleaved modes there was one that scales everything 1920x1080, and another that didn't sacle anything. The important thing is that I finally found a TV that can give me a good 3d, combined with my GPU. I'm looking at some prices, I will keep you updated on how I proceed :)

I do not know exactly how to enable these configurations between PC and TV, (EDID, and more)
but I'll try anyway. The important thing is that I finally found a TV that can give me a good 3d, combined with my GPU.

I'm looking at some prices, I will keep you updated on how I proceed :)

Innuendo, Thanks for the file. I will give it a try. Regarding Tridef, there was a reg file (TriDef3D-Resolution-Override) the Tridef Support guys put on the forum. This was intended to work on 1080p but it works also for 2160p. All the games I run with Tridef have ingame resolution 1080p but the output is 2160p. Maybe is Placebo but it actually looks better than output at 1080p and secondlly I don't have to push the 3d button :D Triderf works much better with some games like BF BC2 BF3, BF4, all COD series, Resident Evil Rev 1 and 2 and much more. Another thing is that supports fake 3D for almost any game. PS: Not really related to the subject but could be very interesting for UB850/950 UC970 owners. As I couldn't test TV inputlag by comparison to my monitor because it only supports 1080p I used the Human reaction Time test. The result in are the following On my monitor 210-220ms on my TV (PC- Game) 280-290ms on my TV (PC-Expert2 ) 260-270ms If I set the resolution to 1080p on my TV then the Game profile is 20-30ms faster than Expert2 mode. Measured by comparison to the motior (Inputlag Counter) and Human reaction test. Strange results but I trust it. I repeated the test many times just to be certain I get the right result My Firmware 04.65.03 Please do your own test and see if you can confirm.
