Can't get my 3D Vision Glasses to work Software drivers installed/configured, all connections ma
Hello, I am experiencing the same problem with my NVIDIA 3d vision glasses that I experienced with my IZ3D glasses. The IR transmitter isn't making the 3D glasses blink. I charged the glasses, and when I turn them on the green light comes on solid. I have everything hooked up correctly, and my DLP tv has 3d mode 1 on. (Standard). When I do the hardware test, I still see both the green and blue shapes when I close my left and then right eye. I also tried the other test and it's not in 3d. The glasses don't appear to be blinking. The thing is, I tried to use the IZ3D glasses and they had the same exact problem, no blinking, possibly from no IR signal.

Can anyone please assist me? I am doubtful that the glasses are defective, because I had the same problem with my IZ3D glasses. Anyone out there have some tips/ideas??

Thanks.

-Sam (Dissapointed that buying the Nvidia glasses didn't solve my problem. But hoping someone can help me fix the problem!)

I was under the impression the iZ3D glasses were passive and didn't need an IR transmitter...

Anyway, turn off any of the other IR devices in your room and make sure the glasses are charged. There is also a power button on he glasses themselves.

No, I was actually using TriDef shutter glasses with IZ3D drivers, which use an IR transmitter that you stick to the top of your TV. And, the only IR devices I have are my TV (which I use with my computer) and my cable box (which I can turn off if that makes a difference.) and my Logitech speakers, which I can't turn off because I need them for sound. And that's it. Any other possible solutions? I also never could get Wi Fi to work in my other room. No signal. Any solutions? I really would like to use the 3D Vision glasses.

What is the model of your display? Has it been confirmed as supported? What type of connection to the display are you using? System specs?

I might be a little hasty in my assumption, but I believe he has a Samsung DLP 3d Ready T.V.

I had this same problem, at first

Make sure to be using HDMI port 3

Make sure to Rename HDMI 3 "PC" (hit edit button while looking at your sources)

Make sure that your P.C. is in "Wide PC" Viewing mode - Inside your detailed picture settings. Keep in mind, that in order to change this you must change through resolutions until it will let you change this. Once you change it, it will always remember your settings for HDMI3

Also, make Backlit LED Minimum!!!!!

Make sure no Remote Controls are near your computer Desk. (Any IR interference will make it so 3d won't work)

make sure the lights are off.

If this doesn't work, reinstall Windows Vista and that should fix your problem

Also, DO NOT PLUG IN IR EMITTER UNTIL TOLD TO DO SO!!!! (if you plug it in when you shouldn't windows will load drivers for it and mess up the installation. This is Important!!!) If you messed this step up, you must reinstall windows. At least I made this same mistake and reinstalling windows fixed the problem

This is all if you have a Samsung DLP

I would use the cd Version 1.04 it is stable for Sammy Users

Okay, it worked when I moved the remote's further away and turned the lights off, and I'm happy with it , except for one thing. I notice that things that are far away lack the right depth, but things that are close up look pretty 3D. I'm sure this is normal, but I was just dissapointed with that. (And I tried it with different depths, and ended up using maximum depth.) Anyhow, thanks for the tips people.

Not having too much depth on things in the distance is normal, just like in real life. Or do you mean things in the distance are rendered at the wrong depth? That is something that seems to be somewhat ubiquitous in games, especially with the skies. I doubt we'll see that problem when developers start programming their games with s3d in mind from the get-go.

In regards to your depth settings, if you like playing at max depth, try hacking the registry to turn it up even more:

Cool, can't wait for the S3d, and the further depth trick is great, i'll try it out once I reboot my computer after installing the new v1.06 drivers. Thanks!
