Is having 3d vision surround any use for me?
First of all.. I don't play any racing games.. I am not diehard fan of 1st person shooter. When I buy first person shooter, I usually play single player campaign mode 1 or twice and never touch it again. I only play star craft 2 and alan wake these days and probably will play diablo 3. Any use for me to have 3d surround here? I've been debating myself over and over on this for past 3 months or so.

Well i dunno. If money isn't an object then why not go for it? Me personally I would rather have one larger 3D monitor than 3 small ones, but partly because it seems there are a lot of problems getting surround to work correctly. - That's based on several posts I've read here.

It might be like 3D Vision itself though.... you don't realize how awesome it is until you see it. /turned.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':turned:' />

I'd try pulling your 27" closer to you to increase the FOV, making sure to increase the depth as needed. Its the only way i can see using a 27" monitor and gets you a 46" sized FOV. By close, i mean just over 1 ft. away, you'd have to put your keyboard on the monitor stand partway. I have my 46" at the edge of my desk and the monitor pretty much covers it if i do this. The only bad thing about this, ...well one of them, is that the matte screen is more apparent ( i'm assuming its the matte screen anyway).

Think of it like using an HMD, having a small screen right in front of your eyes.

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530
