Strange horizontal screen tear every few seconds when moving in AC Origins
I'm playing AC Origins with the Mad Max profile (compatibility mode) and every few seconds when moving I get a massive what appears to be horizontal screen tear. It doesn't happen when I'm not moving around, so not sure what it is I've never seen it in any other game. My specs are far beyond what is required and I've tried all V-sync options and refresh rates and FPS limits within the game. Happens both on my regular 120 hz monitor and on my 3DTV glyph at 1280/720 at 60hz. Doesn't happen at all in 2D. Has anyone seen anything like this in any other game may know what it is or the solution? Thanks!

What driver do you use? I have the same thing in an other game with the 418 branch of nvidia driver. That disappeared with the 417.35 for me. I'm going to test in the day if you want. I have origins installed but never try in cm mode.

Im using 419.17. I'd hate to have to change drivers for that issue though, was hoping maybe someone else has seen it and solved it. Someone mentioned the Mad Max profile was the most stable for AC Origins, maybe I'll try something else.

Have you set Anti Aliasing to "High"? This setting causes artefacts in CM. Try to use "Medium" or lower.

I tested 417.35 and it's perfect for CM with mad max profil (Medium or high for AA). You do what you want but if you want to play 3d you have to change the driver. Exemple for me : RE2 with 418.81 doesn't work correctly with the fix. With 417.35 it's a glorius 3d.

Wasn't using any AA, have it set to off... thanks will maybe change the driver but will probably just play in 2D 4k instead. Thanks

Going to play around some and see what's up. EDIT: I reinstalled the fix and turned of V-Sync as I'm locked at 30fps in Quantum Break. Tearing is gone. Maybe a game or fix bug, not sure. Must say this game is stellar in 3D btw
