Convergence and depth are adjustments made to the frame/image being viewed.

They are "adjustments"

These are done while you are playing the game in 3D

He simply made this statement, because those hotkeys are not enabled by default. You need to manually enable them in NVCP

So these hotkeys and 3D convergence settings are set in the 3D vision driver?

When reading Muojo's questions about basic things it's no wonder that 3D Vision is doomed to die. It's simply not simple enough for the mainsteam audience. And yes I also started like Moujo - It was back in 2012 or so. 3D Vision didn't even kick in automatically for me at that time :D. First I thought it just doesn't work. Then in my desperation I googled and found that I had to press CTRL + T for enabling 3D. Thankfully these days 3D Vision kicks in automatically without pressing that key combination. And if not we can correct this and more things easily via tools. But getting started in 3D Vision was a bit hard for me too at that time. The issue of 3D Vision is that people actually have to learn some things like how to unlock 3D convergence, which hotkeys to press and so on. And these days even some more complexity was added: EDID override / CRU, 3D fixes, configuring 3dmigoto, how to set upscale shader... and so on. The average people just stay on 2D gaming because they want to switch off their brain when they want to relax. But those people who invest a little time to learn basic things and understand how things work for 3D they are rewarded with the most intense gaming immersion and never want to go back to 2D. @Muojo: Before starting to dive into special topcis like upscaling resolution to 4k or similar just try to understand the basic things first. And how to configure your TV for 3D. I would recommend to try old games first. 3D Fix Manager provides 3D fixes for approximately 400-500 DirectX 9 games. They are a little bit older (year 2012-2015) but they are not so demanding for the PC. These days you can play them in native 4K in 3D with solid 60 fps per eye. I highly recommend Dead Space 2 in 3D - my favourite 3D game.
Now with what you posted, i have to ask what 3dmigoto is
As you have already mentioned most games does not have any 3D options ingame. The reason is that game developers just aren't interested into spending extra time for optimizing their games for 3D because there are not enough 3D gamers. So nearly all games are broken in 3D by default. in 2012 things changed when Helix introduced his "Helixmod" wrapper for DirectX 9 games. With this wrapper the community could fix shaders to look correct in 3D. Those shader fixes were called "3D fixes". It worked by putting Helix's DLL in the game folder and the shader override files. In 2013 the era of Direct X 11 games begun. There was no wrapper available for fixing DX11 games for 3D. Things changed when 3dmigoto was introduced in 2014. This was basically the same like Helixmod but with the difference that it worked not for DirectX 9 but for DirectX 11! This wrapper since then was improved over and over again over time. Shader overrides with 3dmigoto are also called "3D fixes". 3Dmigoto has much more features than Helixmod. It supports upscale shader, side by side it even can force resolutions and refresh rates for games to mention some features. Starting classical via Steam / Origin & Co might not work at all. That's because some games need launch arguments to force exklusive fullscreen, other need some settings in the Nvidia driver profile. 3D Fix Manager does all the work for you. Of course you can configure everything manually and start the game via Steam or whatever but it's the hard way to get things working. GTA V is supported by 3D Fix Manager. If it's not listed the reason either is that the game could not be found by the application due to missing informations in windows registry or missing search paths. As a hint (I don't want to blame): pirated games might not be detected by 3D Fix Manager. In case of GTA 5 you can launch the game manually via Steam. It's 3D Vision Ready. Rockstar Games added support for 3D ingame. With a budget of 200 million dollars they took the extra mile for 3D ^^.

CTRL + T toggles 3D on / off. By default it's set to on when launching games. Only back in 2012 default was "off" ^^. If you see 3D Vision discover then the EDID override did not work. It should say "Acer passive 3D" with a "Optimized for Geforce" logo next to it.

Ok when doing a clean windows install without downloading / reinstalling the game 3D Fix Manager can't find any information in windows registry because there is nothing in there any more. It does a fall back to search paths in this case. This means it searches the games in some directories of your HDDs / SSDs. You can specify which directories shall be taken into account. By default 3D Fix Manager finds all libraries of Steam, Gog, Origin, Uplay and Blizzard Launcher. At least this is what should happen. If games are installed in other folders or a library was not found then you can add search paths to these folders. For doing that go to "Settings" tab. Then look at the section with the headline "detecting games". In the list add the path to your games directory. If GTA 5 is installed via steam it might look like this: "G:\Steam Games\steamapps\common If it's not a steam game then the path might look like this: G:\Rockstar Games\GTA 5. After adding the path click on button "search games" below. GTA 5 should appear in the list on the left then.

In Bioshock 2 are you using dx10 options in-game, because the fix is for dx9? Add -dx9 to Steam launch options if needed
Just for Muojo's info: that's automatically done by 3D Fix Manager for Bioshock 1 / 2. And keep in mind that the remaster is generally not supported for 3D.
It was supposed to lol but its not happening. I'll try the EDID override again this time with jokers. I used the one a user made specifically for the C6 55" btw what should I do about the GTA V situation. I don't want to redownload the entire thing

As said earlier you don't need to install the EDID override. Just import Joker's Edid file in CRU and also set the model ID in CRU(see my tutorial). But it's up to you. One way should work 100%. Enable Stereoscopic 3D in Nvidia Control Panel and look if "Optimized for Geforce" is available there.
For 3Dmigoto, is that somehting I need to install then tweak DX11 games on it or is it like 3Dfix which can run fixes for me? Do I need 3Dmigoto for games not supported by Helixmod?
holy fucking hand holding, he stated helixmod is a wrapper used to "FIX" dx9 games and 3Dmigoto is a wrapper used to FIX dx11 games. NO!! you do not need to install them!! YOU need to install the individual game fixes MADE using the wrapper. YOU can install these fixes MANUALLY or use 3DFixManager to AUTOMATE the process of installing the fixes.
