Cleaning 3D TV'S
So i was wondering what would be the best way to clean my 3d TV without damaging the screen? I have alcohol free electronic wipes, would those be ok to clean it with?

Spray and wipe with soft paper towel and follow up with a microfibre cloth.

Yeah be careful with paper towels, regular paper towels scratch CDs, I wouldn't dream of putting one near a screen. Check the manufacturer's suggestions. I've used a baby wipe on my old LCD but that left streaks, if I had followed up with a microfiber cloth, like Kolreth mentions, it probably would have been fine.

I use whatever is at hand, although I would warn against using paper on a screen as it could cause tiny scratches that are permanent. Microfiber cloth is the best, but any soft cloth will do. As for alcohol, isopropyl is 100% safe. Apparently Ethanol isn't, although I have never found a good reason why. I'm pretty sure I have chucked the kitchen sink onto my monitor and it still looks as good as the day I bought it. The only time I've ever seen a screen ruined via cleaning was when some idiot tried cleaning my brothers TV with an oil based polish, aka, rainbow galore. Anyway, your wipes should be good. I always wipe in the same direction to help prevent smears and streaks. Make sure your screen is off, so that you can clearly see the smudges and dirt.

But yeah you can also get specialty screen wipes at a decent sized department store, office/stationary supplies stores, pretty much anywhere you can pick up household cleaning stuff. Oh and for the record, the last pack of microfibre cloths I bought had in big letters TEST IN UNOBTRUSIVE AREA FIRST MAY CAUSE SCRATCHING. You gotta be careful cleaning screens with anything, cause anything can have fine grit caught in it, which is what causes the scratching.

For a TV just use a tissue. Wipe lightly. Keep it sane and simple.
