3D Vision + freetrack : works well
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6BaXVFUouY

IR source with LEDs(you may see bright light on the screen- but it's invisible if you see it directly. it's recorded because the webcam I used to record this movie was also IR-filter removed webcam)
IR filter removed Webcam,
freetrack(one-dot configuration)

It works well. No inteference of IR signals.

If you turn your head left or right for more than about 45 degrees, you may see ghosts because shutter glass can't properly hide the another pictures.
But you may not have to turn your head that much.. if you modify sensitivity configuration in freetrack.

I'm very satisfied with 3D vision + freetrack combination. It gives you more reality.

Wow, this looks awesome. I am going to try and get it to work. IR LEDs are dirt cheap. :D

Did you do something special to reduce the IR interferances ?
'cause I get a lot of white flashes in FSX with 3D vision & Freetrack :(

No, I don't see any inteference there. IR transmitter works well without any problem, freetrack also works well.
I didn't do any workarounds to reduce IR inteferences here.

What do you mean by 'white flashes'?
