Issue with my 3d movies on cyberlink
1. I start Cyberlink and it comes up in full screen mode.
2. On the movie tab, I select the drive with the Blue-Ray 3D movie in it (Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs).
3. A pop-up window allows me to select “Restart” or “Resume”. I select “Restart”
4. A pop-up window asks if I would like to use a mouse. I select “No”.
5. The Blue-Ray starts to play previews in 2D.
6. After the previews, I get a selection screen at the start of the actual movie. The choices are “Play Movie”, “Languages”, “Scene Selection”, “Special Features”. “Play Movie” is selected. I hit enter.
7. A choice is added to the screen for “3D” or “2D”. “3D” is selected. I hit enter.
8. The movie starts to play but not in 3D. It plays well and nicely but in 2D. The 3D glasses are not enabled.
9. I point the mouse at the “3D” icon at the bottom of the monitor among the Cyberlink controls.
10. A pop-up window tells me, “Your 3D hardware only supports viewing in full-screen mode.” It asks if I want to proceed. I say OK.
11. The screen goes dark for 2-3 seconds.
12. The movie then continues to play in 3D with the glasses running correctly. But the image is only displayed in the top left hand 1/4th of the screen. It plays this way for about 5 seconds.
13. Then the movie continues to play in 3D with the glasses running correctly on the entire screen. But the image switches back and forth between the full screen and the 1/4th screen image at the rate of about 3-4 times per second. Both images are in 3D.

I already call to cyberlink and they said is common problem but agent really dont know whats root of this issue.

Is alienware deimos computer and i got most updated drivers for all my applications.

I had this exact issue. It's not the Cyberlink software, because I had the same problem with ArcSoft Total Theatre 3.

Please try these steps, using the latest 3D Vision CD setup found here: Driver Download

Chose the correct CD version based on your operating system. Once the CD has been downloaded and extracted to a folder of your choice, do the steps below. These were the 2 threads I started on this subject.

My First Thread (There's also a short video example of the problem)

My Second Thread

And this is what I did to fix it:

1) In control panel / Programs and features - I uninstalled all the nVidia drivers.
2) Rebooted the computer
3) Deleted all nVidia folders from C:, C:/program Files, and C:/Porgram Files (x86)
4) Intalled the IR Receiver Driver from the setup package folder STEREO - run the file NvIRUSB.exe
5) Run the cd installer - in the folder with the cd installer drivers, click the 3DVision_AutoRun.exe file. This will start the CD setup.
6) Click install Graphics driver
7) Choose ADVANCED install
8) Choose the CLEAN INSTALL option to delete any remnants of older drivers
9) Make sure all the drivers are selected / checked off
10) Start the install and reboot
11) When you reboot, go into the nVidia Control Panel, set your options, and enable 3D.
12) Run through the 3D setup wizard.

After I perfomed all these steps, I inserted a blu-ray 3D disc, and it played fine. I did not have to fuss with installing / uninstalling / reinstalling - it all worked perferctly the first time.

Let me know if this works for you.
