Reserving the OP. I'll try to fix the game starting from day 1 (May 25). We can also wish it will be 3D Vision Ready out of the box, but it's improbable :p. http://store.steampowered.com/app/460810/Vanquish/

These "old" dx9 games are sometimes almost 3d vi son out of the box. Good luck and hopefully it's a minor fix.

It will be out in 3 hours, and I'll download it tomorrow (I didn't bring my external HDD with me today). If any of you is willing to play it today before I start fixing it, please report the issues you see (say if shadows are broken (please, don't be broken), if there are haloing issues, stuff at screen depth, etc). It would help me prioritize my work. Right now I'm improving the Dark Souls 3 fix, and properly playing it, of course. And next week Tekken 7 will be released. So I'll be busy with 3 games at the same time (also Saint Seiya after them in theory, which is almost perfect out of the box).

Futuristic 3rd person shooter, woot! A bit short, but decent price, hopefully Sega ports more games. https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=10899

So any pictures? There seems to be a lot of HUD. This could actually be 3D vision breaking.

Played through the tutorial - issues with shadows and targeting reticle. Turning off SSAO takes care of a flickering issue, but will need a fix. Played this on PS3 back in the day - will look phenomenal with S3D working properly.

Sorry - it wasn't SSAO being turned off that got rid of the flicker. It was setting shadows to "Low."

Thanks for the reports. I have downloaded the game a few hours ago. I just need to wait until I'm home, 5 hours from now. I hope I'll be able to fix the shadows (I have never fixed shadows in DX9 yet. I'll look at other fixes if needed)...

After having some driver profile problems, installing the latest drivers seems to have fixed that. No matter what, don't let the game create and use its own profile, because it caused a mostly black eye issue for me. At least on Windows 10. Use the Bayonetta profile if needed. Performance is horrible in 3D, even without the Helix dll and with any profile! First of all, there is some kind of weird geometry/shadow problem with shadows on high in 3D. It doesn't happen at normal (for low resolutions I sometimes needed them on low). Fps report, with vsync forced off: - 1440p, 2D: 150fps. - 1440p, 3D, shadows high (graphics corruption): 72-80fps. - 1440p, 3D, shadows normal: 47-52fps. - 720p, 2D: 200fps. - 720p, 3D, shadows high (graphics corruption): 72-80fps. - 720p, 3D, shadows normal/low (whatever needed to fix the shadows bug): 47-52fps. No matter what, I can't get higher fps than that. Literally unplayable. I fixed one haloing problem for now (I saw another but I didn't catch the shader yet), and shadows are at screen depth (I could disable them in the meantime). The performance problem is terribly discouraging. For now I recommend playing it in 2D :(. How many fps do you get?

FPS in the 110's in 2D, in 30's in s3d, for the most part, at 1920 x 1080 and with everything on high except for shadows and ssao off. I can only stop the flickering by setting shadows to low - still have the problem when set to normal. I think the profile issue might be related to W10. I went back to W7 a few weeks back because of the issues I was having with ME: Andromeda.

Messing with profiles and 3d hub player gets my fps in the 30's to 60's in 3d.

It's strange - even though the FPS counter is reporting relatively low #'s in S3D, the game plays smoothly enough. If I hadn't enabled the counter, I wouldn't have been able to tell you that there was an issue - certainly wasn't enough to keep me from playing the game in S3D.
