Assassin's Creed Kingdom missing textures. 3D Vision problem
Has anyone seen a solution to this problem?

I have just bought the game and the ground texture in the Kingdom part of the game isnt present.

I have scanned the web and people seem to think it is an 3D Vision issue.

Any advance as it really spoils this game /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />

Thanks in advance

Start the Game in DirectX 9 mode. (AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe in your Assassins Creed folder)

Thanks mate,

Tried that but the game looks worse for it and I loose FPS! I have decided to just play the Kingdom section as it is.

I am suprised nVidia havent done something about it because it is clearly a 3D vision issue and the game looks astonishing S3D...

Thats odd, I had the same problem in DX10 but not in DX9. Dont worry, when you have visited every city you will be able skip the kongdom sequences anyway. Just continue playing the game in 3D while you are in a city. The game is a really good showcase for 3D. Set convergence so that Altair is a little bit inside the screen (no Popout). Climbing up a tower, with the strong contrast between yourself and the city behind, is just amazing. The framerate was a problem too. The game stuttered no matter how low i have set the graphics.

Sorry, what I meant by worse for it was that it lost alot of quality. But you are right, it fixed the problem. Cheers for the tips as well.

Its a shame the floor texture are missing(?) because I would like to see what Kingdom is like. Neh mind.

I have exactly the same problem. I don't have some textures in Kingdom. Starting the game in dx9 mode does NOT fix the problem, the game works smoothly. I tried to change the various settings, but it doesn't help. The game is original. What can I do to fix that? I can't even see, where am I going, because I can't see the mountains.

It's not fixable. Just work/float your way through Kingdom. You can fast travel through it once you have endured it once. Its a shame - agreed - but not too much of a biggy.

Ok, but what causes this? Is it game's fault, or my computer's fault? This problem is in every copy of the game? Can I do something to pretend it from happening in the future, when I'll play this again after few years? I would like to collect all the flags, but without some textures it's impossible.
I have DirectX 9.0c, that's why the file AssassinsCreed_Dx10.exe doesn't work for me and running the game from AssassinsCreed_Dx9 doesn't help.
