That would be the best and I wish us good luck. As I also work in a big computer company I have learned one thing: The customer decides and no one dares to make his own decisions. When it comes to the point that they want more orders from Ubisoft because no one can beat EAC then they will decide to better block it now and forever because when it comes to complications based by this decision none of them wants to loose his job - it is always like that. But as you said before - usually no one cares about such little E-Mails ;-) Peace Psykitt

Can people check that the reflections of glass surfaces are working on whatever settings you are currently using? Find this line and uncomment it (remove the semicolon from the start of the line):
run = CustomShaderDebugTransparentDepthBuffer
And find this section and uncomment it as well:
[CustomShaderDebugTransparentDepthBuffer] vs = ShaderFixes\full_screen.hlsl ps = ShaderFixes\debug_transparent_zbuffer.hlsl blend = disable cull = none topology = triangle_strip o0 = bb ps-t100 = ResourceDebugTransparentDepthBuffer Draw = 4, 0 post ps-t100 = null
Reload with F10 and you should see all glass surfaces displayed in shades of red (brighter red == closer to the camera). Please let me know if they line up correctly or not, and if not what settings you are using.

OK DSS Red reflections become brighter as you said but one eye is positioned more to the left. Btw the flicker fix seems to work - this was really great work! My settings: Reflections = Ultra Textures = Ultra Motion Blur = OFF Depth Of Field = OFF (with this you have more detailed faces of the NPCs too) FOV = 80 % Pixeldensity = 0.8 Sharpness = 10 % ( to regain the sharpness you lost from reducing the pixeldensity) TXAA = 8x (makes smooth and runs smooth at 1280x720 3DTVPlay) VSYNC = OFF

For me the fix is ready now - can't see any more issues. The fountain near the church is also perfect now. I liked the augmented Handy-Menue from Watch Dogs 1 like it is without the fix but screendepth is also OK. It is 0:23 h now for me in Germany and thanks to your fast work DarkStarSword and the other testers I still have 4 days to experience this game before my vacation is over. Will report back tomorrow if there is something weird. Was great fun to test with you all and I hope for the next project to come (maybe Horizon Zero Dawn). Greetings, take care and all the best to you Psykitt

Hi, awsome work, nearly perfect now! No HUD flickering and no wrong reflections (so far as I see). Only it seems a bit worse performance wise, I had a handful of half-second frame losses/stutterings. But nothing what I had not already seen in other games ;) Best regards, and thanks again!

I'm not positive, but those stutters seem worse on pixel density set to something other than 1.0.

Hi! no, I already have set it to 1.0. Maybe Windows did something mysterious in the background again, but maybe not. I can live with it, I have seen worse on other games. Btw/ I just visited your Patreon page ;) Best Regards, now off to San Fran again!

Yes, for me it's slower with some stuttering. Not dramatic, though. How did you solve it?
Yes, for me it's slower with some stuttering. Not dramatic, though. Wow, you must have an extremely good eyesight! I found another problem. During the "The last Dollar" quest series (the one where you hack the money machines and watch the bank customers trying to withdraw money), the picture is completely out of focus. Might have to do with the fish-eye lens effect of the surveillance camera you are looking through. And still another: Windows in Net Hack view seem to be off focus as well. Btw/ I already undid the workarounds you posted. And a stupid question: How do you take screenshots? I mean, normal ones and 3D as well. The hotkey F12 does not seem to work for me (at least I do not find anything in Uplay screenshot folder). And they would be 2D anyway.

Hello Losti, with the lense flares I am with you but the fog? Isn't it too minor? Concerning the performance issues: Switch VSYNC off. And one word to resolution. I play on a 50" Plasma with 1280x720 and TXAA 8x. It is faster than 1920x1080 and I cannot see any difference in detail. With pixeldensity 0.8 and sharpening 10% it looks crisp with smooth edges (no aliasing). Greetings Psykitt

VSYNC off is not an option. Screen tearing is the worst that could ever happen imo.
