$999 1080p 3d projector with native (aka no hacking) 3dtv play support
http://www.twice.com/articletype/news/benq-unveils-999-fullhd-3d-projector/104145 Not much else to say. BenQ makes a good projector and with native 3dtv play and of course true blu-ray 3d support, this seems like a winner.

Can only really play at 720p in 3D with this projector and can get a good 3d vision projector for $500 (acer 5360, optoma 66).1080P would be @ 24hz. Its definetly a good deal if you are buying for 3d Blu-ray or want something for 3D/2D since the next cheapest projector is $1350. Good find.. DLP projectors are definitely the way to go.

Had me excited for a minute, I thought it was a dual input 3D Display. Like some of the old 3D monitors were or that Eizo Duravision glasses free 3D monitor from a few years back.

Thanks for this, my H5360 is getting lots of dead pixels lately (right now it seems to be stuck at 7, hopefully it will stay there, thankfully they are not yet in the center of the screen), so I'll have to replace it sooner or later, and I was looking for something like this. Even if 3d is in 720p, full HD movies is a big plus for me with this, besides I can use my PS3 with it and it will be 100% compatible through HDMI with next gen consoles in 3d (hopefully). I have to upgrade anyway and I don't trust getting another H5360 or its optoma twin, so I may get this, thanks!

Boggles the mind. What we should do is have everyone call into BenQ and complain and see if we get a result. Im calling in tomorrow btw.

I contacted the local distribitor (which we are accidentially customer with ;) ) It seems they not sharing any documentation nor provide a test kit without NDA, which I have requested.....

When they go to 120Hz output over HDMI at 1080P won't they have to use their HDMI type B cable, the one that has extra pairings for video signal integrity like the Dual Link DVI cables?

I had read that the cable was not part of the bottleneck before, but i don't know for sure.

Doesnt the chipset itself need to support it as well rather then just port?

Aye But my assumption is that the present Type-A HDMI cables can not actually handle as much Bandwidth as is needed. Not with things like ARC and Ethernet in the mix. 2K resolutions have to be ran at 30Hz over HDMI. Plus the inherent problem of cable gauge and signal degradation over long runs. Plus the "FACT" that Dual Link DVI cables do not match up pin for pin with HDMI cables, but the Type-B cables do. I have not read anything stating such, but it just makes sense. Unless Display port is adopted and used on consumer 3D HDTVs. http://pinouts.ru/Video/hdmi_pinout.shtml http://www.ehow.com/info_8748828_hdmi-vs-b.html
