Im considering getting the NVIDIA 3d glasses however, i don't have the money for one of those new 120 hz lcds. my plan is buy the glasses then to craigslist or dumpster dive a good sized 120 hz CRT monitor and use that. Im wondering what peoples experiences are using CRTs with the glasses. Iv watched a few youtube videos of LCD vs CRT but i get a little scared with the flickering screen and the poor contrast ratios/dull colors on the CRT. Please talk about your experiences with CRTs Vs. LCD and let me know if im likely to regret using a CRT.

I agree I don't think you'll be disappointed in the PQ of a crt, I wouldn't fancy my chances of finding a good quality crt that can do 120hz at decent resolutions these days, however.

Same boat, was not ready to buy a LCD so I bought the kit to go with my LG T910BU that does 1024x768@120Hz. Work pretty well except the fact I must keep depth low or I see ghosting. I'm very happy as I'm a fan of stereoscopic stuff.
