Mine ROG Swift spontaneously went crazy and start to flicker and died on me. Whole screen went white - looked like GPU overheating crash.
I had it replaced in one day! so that wasn`t as bad as I thought. Asus does that exceptionally well here in UK. One service message and bam!
Anyway with new replaced model I don`t have this vertical lines anymore. Only thing I see is pixels when I`m playing really close to the screen. So it looks like very early models had that because I remember someone been reporting about not having them on newly purchased models as well.
I was cursing for a while after that screen failure but now when I`m back I see why I felt so good about this Monitor. Quality of this picture and true 1440p beats every monitor I`ve ever seen.

Just tried the new driver 353.30 with the ROG Swift and looks like all the previous ones... lots and lots of problems, 3D working poorly when It used to work perfectly on 337.88. Terrible performance with SLI on Arkham Origins when it used to be perfect. GSync red light always on... I'm going to wait until tomorrow to see if at least with Arkham Knight they work

But if you zoom into the right part of the picture below, you can see that 3D Vision is listed as supported. I hope the spesifications are true and it will supoort 3D Vision.

Yea - i see it as well. This Monitor might be good quality improvement which is already amazing on previous version. Also all that ghosting, which people complain about (not me) might be less visible or not present at all.

Change hours to months.
For this Monitor - it is really worth to go single GPU and get rid of all problems (you don`t have to wait for new drivers). Quality is amazing. I am playing Far Cry 3 and 4 ones again because it feels/looks so damn good.
Just played StarCraft 2: legacy of the Void (Beta) and that 3D is just mind blowing on this screen. So sharp and beautiful. Games like Diablo 3 and SC2 are epic because of toyifcation - this make them look just like small toy playground and high resolution makes them look perfectly visible even in this whole battle cry madness.

So how is the monitor if you take SLI out of the equation? SLI has been a pain lately and I think I might be done with it. Looking at getting this monitor with a 980 TI if the monitor is worthwhile outside of the SLI issues.

ROG Swift is an excellent monitor for 3D gaming. There may be some 1080p monitors that are even better, but as far as I now it is the only 1440p 3D monitor. I switched from 970SLI to 980Ti because of the SLI driver issues. If I wasn't interested in 3D I probably would've gotten a 1440p or 4K IPS G-sync monitor instead of the ROG Swift. My biggest complaint with it is the pixel inversion artifacts which show up as vertical lines. They are subtle in 2D but very noticeable in 3D, as well as a tiny amount of ghosting/crosstalk

I have the ROG Swift, and I got the Acer 4k Gsync.
4k is very nice for 2D, but being limited to 60hz feels bad.
The ROG Swift is great for 2D as well, 144hz is great for obvious reasons, however I think the image quality on the Acer is cleaner regardless of the resolution.
I was getting ready to sell the Swift as I stopped gaming in 3D about 2 months ago, but the 3D fix for Witcher 3 has made me dust it off and bring it out of retirement.
I'm waiting now for a curved 34" 21:9 1440p Gsync IPS either from Acer or Asus. The Asus R&D model I've seen online looks amazingly sexy.
Eventually I think I'll end up keeping the Swift and whatever 21:9 happens to be the best, sell the Acer 4k.
