Can't get games to play in 3D Vision Surround
Sorry for the double post in the Surround Forum but wasn't sure where to put it. Only Batman Arkham Origins works. Mafia II, Dungeon Siege III, Tom Clancy’s HAWX 2, and Metro 2033 will not. They all work in 3D on a single mon only and they all work in 5760 X 1080 surround but not both. Battlefield Bad Company 2 is rated for 3D surround but not 3D Vision Surround, does that mean that all 3 mons have to connect to one 1080? It won’t even play in 3D on one mon. Have tried several drivers and used DDU to uninstall every time: 368.25 382.53 384.76 378.66 384.80 Asus X99 –II motherboard I7 - 5820@3.3ghz 32 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz (PC4-21300) C16 Memory Kit 2 – MSI GTX 1080 Seahawks in SLI Intel 1.2TB 750 Series Solid State Drive PCIE MSI HB SLI Bridge Corsair 850W HX Series Power Supply 3 – Asus VG278HE 27” 3D Vision Ready Monitors StarTech Display Port to DVI Active filter Adapter 3D Vision 2 Glasses and Emitter Windows 10 X64 Pro up to date Monitor connected to left 1080 DVI connector Monitor connected to left 1080 DisplayPort connector (via StarTech adapter) closest to DVI Monitor connected to right 1080 DVI connector

I got frustrated to the point of getting new monitors. Here you go https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A493CNY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Shouldn't the 850W Pwr Supply should be enough since I'm not overclocking (yet)?

I think your adapter is the culprit. I have a startech adapter that only works on my Samsung 3D Monitors but not on the Asus ones. (3D doesn't trigger). As a test, try in one monitor configuration to make the monitor that uses the adapter as primary and run a game in 3D Vision. See if it works. I had to buy this adapter: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00856WJH8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to get 3D Surround working.

I had it working in nvidia cp in 3d and even had 3d surround working in batman arkham origins, and I tried it on a GTX 670 SLI system and it seems dead. So I tried it on my system and it sure seems to have shit the bed, expensive at $115 and even had better reviews.

Spent a lot of time trying different things and here is where I'm at. connected the startech adapter to a different monitor and got much better results. Mafia II and Metro 2033 now work in 3D surround. Battlefield Bad Company 2 still will not come up with 3Vision enabled, however it works perfectly fine in single 3D mode as well as 3D Surround on a GTX 670 SLI system. Be nice if I could get this working on the 1080 system.
