OK, good. Thanks for trying that, that might be helpful for other people too.
For the lightning, I expect this is something we just missed because we never saw it, or can't catch it with shader hunting. Thanks for the report though. If someone can find that shader, I expect we can fix it.

We did fix the lightning issue, so not sure what is going on. Are you using the latest version of the game fix? Have you switched profile from AC4 to AC2? If not, and you are still using the AC4 profile, you need to change the convergence just a bit and then back again (or toggle 3d on and off) to force the shader fix - we don't know why, but the AC4 profile does have the compatibility mode built into it and that does affect other things. Otherwise, what game settings are you using? Some game settings have different shaders and this might be one of them.

I see now, my Windows was corrupted, now i got the SP1 and reinstalled black flag with latest update. With your fix, i adjusted all the 3dvision settings and removed the ctrl alt F11, and wow! I knew those 10 windows reinstalls will serve me justice and your 3d compared to original with convergence adjustmenst is so MUCH better :D I recommend it to everyone, and WITH dxgi.dll, otherwise the ghost bugs will come in :)
Great job guys, after following this for 2 months I finally got to play it

I have just started playing the game for the first time with the 3d fix. I have been waiting for them to fix the choppy performance as I have to 780ti in sli and it still did not run very good. The sleep fix mentioned in the 337.88 driver thread has helped some what and setting the game to affinity via task manager. But all I can say is what an awesome fix!!!! some of the 3d parts in the game are fantastic. Without you guys fixing these games I would have probably given up on 3d vision and maybe gone to a 4k screen. As the last game to support it was Tomb Raider and the games to support it now are few and far between.

Hello,
I have Windows 8.1 64 and the last nvidia drivers 337.88 but I still have 3D problems.
I installed the helix patch-mod but the game didn't start.
As I have w8, do I have to install KB2670838 (that is linked to Windows 7) ?
I would like to get the best 3d, like batman or max payne 3 or Tomb Raider, it seems so complicated ...
Thank you so much ....

DH[/quote]Man, all you guys in a rush to adopt 8.1 are making my life hard.
You don't need the KB patch for Windows 8.1, it's already part of the OS.
But in order to make 3Dmigoto run under 8.1, you need to delete the dxgi.dll file that comes with zip. This breaks 3Dmigoto a bit, but allows you to play on 8.1.
Microsoft introduced a bug with 8.1 that breaks a lot of dxgi clients, including stuff like SweetFX.

When you say "Helix mod", are you using Helix's dlls? Those are not compatible with the 3Dmigoto fix, and if you replace the 3Dmigoto d3d9.dll with a helix d3d9.dll, then I have no idea what will happen, but it won't be good.
Also, if you mean the the AC4 or AC3 fixes, please do not use the term "helix mod" for these, because they don't have anything to do with Helix's code, and it confuses everything. They have been posted on the HelixMod.blogspot as a convenience, but are unrelated code-wise.
You should clean the game folder of all random fixing dlls, and make sure the game is running properly to begin with. You want to run NVidia Inspector, and delete the profile for AC4, because it has Compatibility Mode, and causes other problems. No profile works fine. Make sure it runs normally, Ctrl-T works and show the original busted look.
After it's running cleanly, install ONLY the 3Dmigoto fix from here:
https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/releases/download/0.67-beta/3Dmigoto-AC4-0.67_beta.zip
BEFORE running the game, delete the dxgi.dll from the game folder.
If that does not work, you'll need to provide more info, like screen snapshots.

Hello,
I still get troubles, despite your advices...
I have a PC with Windows 8.1, a 3D screen Asus VG278HR 3D Nvidia vision 2 and a 770 DX 11.1 GTX card with the latest drivers Nvidia 340.52.
Lot of games give excellent 3D rendering : Batman, Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3 Max Payne 3, Metro ....
But, Assassin Creed IV, not ...
I installed the "3DMigoto DX11 3D Vision Helix Mod Fix" by removing the dxgi.dll file.
I configured the settings as recommended (shadows, motion blur, ...), but I still have concerns: jitter, lines intersecting the picture, especially in videos and on the boat ..,
the result is not what I expected.
I read a lot on forums and it is advisable to start with a profile AC2 via Nvidia Inspector, but how can I do this ? creating a new profile?
I have the license AC4 with Uplay.
Could you help me, I'm a little desperate ....?
What to do and what parameters set in the game options (accurately).
Great thanks to you,
D.
I hope that the 3D community will continue to allow us to play PC games in 3D, as Nvidia failed us ...
