3D on projector
  2 / 2
Mastra90, I'm sorry to tell you again that your projector is not compatible with Xbox 360.
All the packaging and official websites clearly say this projector with 3D vision are only supported on PCs for a good reason.
The Acer X1261 requires 120Hz frame alternating input for 3D which the Xbox 360 is incapable of providing.

Call of Duty Black-ops on Xbox 360 outputs the picture as side by side in a conventional 60Hz frame-compatible image.
No front-projector on the market to date is known to support side by side 3D, only hdmi1.4 3DTVs do (as well as a few professional hardware).

The trick mentionned in the older thread only worked on Samsung and Mitsubishi rear-projection DLP televisions which supported the checkerboard 3D input.
No front-projector on the market to date is known to support checkerboard 3D, at all.
The additional Vesa cable was connected to a special port "3D-sync" at the rear of these RP-TVs. This cable was only included in the USA/Canada 3DVision packaging because the compatible TVs were not sold overseas.
The old 3D games (Invincible Tiger and Avatar) supported checkerboard output to allow this trick, Call of Duty Black-ops does not support it.

If you want to use this projector with your Xbox, you'll need a converter box to change the image format from side by side to 120Hz frame sequential, Optoma sells one but I do not know if it works with Acer projectors, I think it only works with Optoma projectors.
Also the Nvidia glasses will be unusable with this system unless you can connect the Vesa cable to the converter box, the Optoma box has this connector on the box but other brands may not have it, otherwise you'll have to use DLP-link compatible glasses and use the DLP-link mode of the projector.
