3D vision 1080p @ 60Hz with active 3D TV (Sony)
Hi all, I have done quite an amount of reading (especially here) in the past days to solve this but with zero success. So first my specs: -Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 -Sony 65' KD65X9005B - Active 3D TV - HDMI 2.0 I have tried all combinations of the following but have yet not managed to get 60Hz in 3D in 1920x1080 resolution: -Connected through HDMI -Connected through DVI-D (via a DVI-D to HDMI cable) -Installed 3D TV Play -Installed a EDID override (both for HDMI and DVI) - I will attach it in case I have done something wrong there) -Combinations of the above So is there any solution that will help me get 1080p @ 60Hz for my ACTIVE 3D TV? (Most of the solutions listed are for passive 3D TV's such as LG and some Samsung models).
Hi all,

I have done quite an amount of reading (especially here) in the past days to solve this but with zero success.

So first my specs:

-Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070
-Sony 65' KD65X9005B - Active 3D TV - HDMI 2.0

I have tried all combinations of the following but have yet not managed to get 60Hz in 3D in 1920x1080 resolution:

-Connected through HDMI
-Connected through DVI-D (via a DVI-D to HDMI cable)
-Installed 3D TV Play
-Installed a EDID override (both for HDMI and DVI) - I will attach it in case I have done something wrong there)
-Combinations of the above

So is there any solution that will help me get 1080p @ 60Hz for my ACTIVE 3D TV? (Most of the solutions listed are for passive 3D TV's such as LG and some Samsung models).

The best i was able to get was to downsample from 1080p to 72op so i get some of the benefits of the higher resolution. Its defintely better than just running it in 720p if you dont find a solution that works. to do that i use custom resolution utility 1.2.6, and import a modified .bin file that some kind person on the internet shared

[/quote] I am in the same 'quest' for 1080p/60 for an active 3D TV(Sharp). I was getting the same results when searching: outdated/passive 3d/4k interlaced. Does your tv support 1080p/120hz? When you used the EDID overide does Nvidia control panel still list the display as HDMI? I'm pretty sure if it sees it as HDMI it will only work as 3DTV Play. I tried the DVI to HDMI adapter, but that limited my refresh rate to 60hz(I get 1080p/120hz through HDMI). I've thought about getting a displayport to HDMI adapter, but I have a ASUS monitor using DP 1.2.

Hi thanks! Using Acer HR274H 3D Monitor EDID Override seems to have brought me one step closer!

-As the Acer monitor seems to be a "passive" 3D monitor, 3D mode of my TV is not activated automatically and there seems to be no option for line interlaced 3D on the 3D modes of my TV (via TV remote)
-No 4K resolutions at all (I would have to create customized resolutions for that right?
-So do your Samsung TV's recognize 3D output automatically or do you have to use the TV remote button?
-Is there a way perhaps using moninfo to customize the EDID to get both native TV resolutions plus the 1080p/60hz 3D mode?

Many thanks again!
