Stereoscopic 3D Display Type Constantly resets to "3D Vision Discover"
This is really bugging me, and has been happening for the last several driver releases. Every time I boot up my PC, the 3D display type is reset back to 3D vision discover.
I am running Windows 8.1, have a GT 640 card, latest drivers, dual monitors (Alienware AW2310 3D monitor, and a DELL S2409W 2D monitor) and the original 3D Vision kit.
It used to work fine some months back, but now always defaults to "3D Vision Discover".
I don't know if this has anything to do with my problem, but shortly after boot up, the green light on the emitter flashes and then shuts off. It doesn't affect 3D viewing on the alienware because once my monitor is set in the 3D display type, if I attempt to view 3D content, the light comes back on and the glasses synch.
How can can I keep my 3d Monitor as the default 3D display type, as it always worked in the past?
