Aproximatly 1 month ago i m having problems with WOW, this problems are:
1- I cannot see the spell cooldown, because when i press the buttom the spell cooldown does not appear were its supose to be, and because of that i cannot know when my spell is ready and i have to use and addon.
2- When the game is loading the 2 images that appears are to much apart and i cannot see it on 3D.
3- When im in a raid, and it appears a loot the images that is used to give greed and need appears to much separated (the two images for the 3d effect) and i have to close 1 eye to see it, also this exact same thing happens when i try click on the characters frame to whisper, follow, trade etc, the images of all of these alternatives (whisper, follow, etc) are to much separated and i cannot used them.
i have read that this errors will be fixted with the last wow patch, but this problems are still not fixed at all. does anybody have the same problems? or i´m the only one?

ive just tried to turn the stereo effects on low (screen depth and depth amount) and it looks better, the problems are gone but now the 3d effect seems very low almost i cant not see the 3d effect.

I am getting the same issues as before plus another one. The mouse doesn't track at object depth on the z plane anymore. Anyone else experiencing that issue?

yep, no object depth on the mouse for me too. It only works if you leave the settings on default, which doesn't look very good.

So its still NOT fixed. LOL whats the point of having 3D if you CANT play with the settings? I never leave any game at default settings. I like alot of 3d effect.
All you did was give a TEMP fix. We should not just let this slide by.

I also was having a great time with WOW then came the small patch following patch 3.1 and the game curser quit working in 3d!!!
I used the in game petition and received the "reset settings to default" response. DO they even read those petitions??
It was an awesome 3d game experience but now it hard to go back to crappy 2d cursers!

I'm really surprised anyone, let alone a few, have complained about the 3D in this game. It's perfect at default settings. Turn the depth up just a bit and it's amazing. Sure it also looks cool by adjusting the in game stereo 3D settings, but until they make the GUI/mouse not affected by the settings it's kind of useless.

Even on default settings, the cursor is rendering in 2D mode now. When hardware cursor is turned off (you can tell because it becomes a little sluggish), it technically renders farther back on the z plane, but z-depth tracking is gone. It's like it moves on a 2D plane, but just farther back in the screen lol. Well, whatever, I'm sure they'll fix it sooner or later. Maybe it's a sign for me to take a break from that game anyway. /haha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':haha:' />
I've got a ticket open with Blizzard and I advise everyone who plays WoW in 3D do the same so they actually get a few trouble tickets officially open in their system regarding the issue.

Yep, it sucks. Default makes the map perfect, but 3D is pretty much gone. There is depth, but everything looks 2D. Even turning up the depth (in the game settings) just a little bit screws up the map. I'm not sure why they can't just make the map a 2D object like the mini-map, action bars, and players icons. That aggravation plus the fact that I have to completely respec all my toons (10 of them..) has really turned me off to the game. I even installed Perfect World just for the fun of it. Not bad for free, but the player movement system sucks.. It doesn't even have the ability to invert the vertical mouse axis, ( I'm a trackball user..) which makes it very hard to play. Oh well, not much we can do but wait...

I recieved the following update from Blizzard support regarding the open ticket for the 3D cursor issue:

Keep an eye out for the hotfix patch and cross your fingers! (and eyes)
