I can't feel 3D effects on games neither movie trailers ! Please, HELP ME!!
Hey guys,
My 3D Vision system is working perfect only in Stereoscopic test by nVidia.
I have Acer H5360 Projector & GTX 295 with latest version.
The problem is that when I run a game like (Mirror's Edge or Battlefield Bad Company 2) & turning 3D Vision ON & doing the recommended settings, the emitter green light glows bright BUT & I don't feel any 3D effects at all /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> even when I run movie trailers in side by side using nVidia video player & making it in Full Screen, the picture is clear but I don't feel any difference that the usual video, not mentioning eyestrain /pirate.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':pirate:' /> .
What am I doing wrong?!! I thought 3D Vision will blow my mind away when I watch movies & play games!!
But to be honest, I felt the 3D wonderfully in nVidia's slide show of games !!
Thanks for your help
Salaam

yea, I pushed the power & the glassess became dark but I didn't feel any 3D effects even
when I raised the depth more than 15% I didn't feel any difference at all.

So you have seen 3D working before? I ask this as I have a friend who has something wrong with one of his eyes and will never be able to "see" 3D working.

Silly questions but you mentioned, 'image being clear.' When you look at the screen without your glasses do you see two images superimposed? Has it diverged?
I ahve an old game Warrior Kings and everything turns 'on' as it were, but the game world doesnt diverge. I can only see the single image on screen.
Soz if that was really patronising but it wasnt clear in your first post, to my simple mind anyway. :">

Hi Andy,
With the glasses turned on, videos & games are image clear & diverged. Without the glasses, they're two images superimposed.
Even though, I didn't feel any 3D effects & there are no difference at all. I tried everything but no luck /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I still waiting for the magical solutions /turned.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':turned:' />

I've connected the projector with DVI-HDMI cable & set the refresh rate to 120 HZ & the projector to nVidia 3D vision mode
so I got 3D effects in nVidia Test only.
I even let my friends to take a loot at it & they got the same results as mine,
No 3D effects at all though everything is working just fine like emitter & glasses.
I wish you understood the problem well.

I might be wrong, but we are using Dual DVI cables to connect to our monitors, is there such a thing as a Dual DVI to HDMI cable or Dual DVI to HDMI 1.4 cable.
Standard HDMI does not have enough bandwidth for 120 Hz.

I use the DVI-HDMI cable that came with the projector & recommended to use exclusively.
then why I feel REAL 3D effects on test images at the end of setup wizard ?!!
maybe there's something I should do in 3D Vision player

I wish I could troubleshoot your problems in person. It is so difficult to do over the internet. Try a few more games perhaps. BFBC2 should work fine, but I think Mirrors Edge has been having some issues lately with not showing depth.

I finally discovered the problem /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' /> . The 3D trailers I tried was fake & converted from 2D so I didn't feel any 3D effects at all.
