The best 3d war game so far? Shout it out loud. Your favourite as it stands now!
I have just got my 24" 3d vision monitor up and running and have tried Alice and Witcher 2 so far and WOW! Mass effect 1 is also great, on my 720p projector with depth on max it sucked my stomach out when ships flew into space.

But I was just surfing on gamespot and checking some wargames. What are ARMA like, or Operation flashpoint, or COD, or.... you know the drill.

What is THE best war-game in 3D in your opinion, and WHY?

Everyone is invited to answer. Don't troll this and complain, this is for celebration and inspiration, guys.

Just finished Battlefield Bad Company 2. That is my favorite so far. I didn't enjoy the first mission as much, but it just got better and better. COD Black Ops was also pretty good. All the COD series actually.

Hi Lighthouse, I also enjoyed Alice and Witcher 2 and the 3D in those games is supurb. I haven't tried Mass Effect but I've heard good things about it. Now, war games. In my opinion there is only 1 proper 1st person "war" game on any PC or console and that is Arma 1 and 2 and before that the first Operation Flashpoint (thats only my opinion). Arma 2 is brilliant with 3D vision as long as you have the right balance of depth and convergence mix. I personally have depth at about 25% and I set the covergence by looking through a scope in game ie ACOG or SUSAT and adjust the convergence til the target you are looking at lines up with the scope reticule. That said, looking in normal view is fantastic and 3D but if you change to a different gun sight ie HOLO or even normal aim down the barrel the gun is doubled too far. Arma uses a lot of keyboard keys and for a beginner takes time to work out the keys but the end result is phenominal. If you want a quick pick up and play FPS the Bad Company 2 is great. COD series mostly looks great in 3D vision but I don't play them anymore. Battlefield 3 is what I'm waiting for, the Beta has been brilliant but 3D vision wasn't available in it but it is being implimented in the final release so should work a treat. Good Luck.
