Telemetry ON with latest drivers, your opinion?
In case you didn't know, it's quite the panic everywhere and it's just the begining. I don't exactly what is being sent but Telemetry is not in a good position now, we just need to remember all the fuss with Win10. All I can say is I'm sad nvidia also took that route, and frustrated in a lesser extend but it's growing. Can't wait to read and learn more on that.

Some analysis in french here. I guess it's a matter of hours before many websites discuss this and go deeper.

Anyone know what nvidia background programs are safe to disable for a laptop that i don't game on? I contantly disable "nvidia settings.exe" which in using power when im on battery. Doesn't cause any problems (that i know of..) but there other others that i'm really not sure aren't running when im not looking.

I really don't care about privacy violations. I know that's not an in-vogue feeling to have, but bottom line is that our privacy is violated in much greater wayS with other PC systems and just life in general. I don't want to waste the energy worrying about it. ON THE OTHER HAND, if this piece of crap slows down my PC and decreases gaming performance, then someone please tell me how to KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!

Problem I read is that when you unselect GFE at the prompt, it installs anyway. Personally I don't want GFE. I liked Shadow Play at first but they never improved it for 3D Vision users with proper options like the ability to record either in 3D or in 2D, etc. Also I don't want a scan of all the games on my PC. We need the 'drivers only' option back like in the good old days.
