Nice, thanks! Looks like the character shadows aren't rendering in quite the same place for each eye, but close enough to not be a serious issue. Is there anything else wrong with it, or is it otherwise perfect? Also, is the game itself any good?

Give me a few minutes... there is something I need to check out. I think they locked the depth but I need to check first to make sure. You can adjust the convergence no problem but my depth is set at 80% but when I go to check out of the game it reverted the nVidia panel back to around 5 to 6% depth. Another thing, the Afterburner says it's running D3D9E (instead of usually saying D3D9).

Ok, here is what happens. When you start the game it auto goes to around 5 to 10% depth. I had to go back to the Nvidia panel and set keys for adjusting depth (usually I just have it around 80%) for my viewing preferences. Now, when I'm in the game I can adjust depth and convergence no problem. Looks pretty good. The weapon and tri-corder crosshairs are dynamic and no problems (like you see in Tomb Raider). Some shadows particularily Kirk's and Spock's are a little off but not too distracting. Most everything is quite playable as is. Maybe a little tweaking or something like putting the hud in the depth a little would be nice but not required. All in all, looks pretty good. Just started the game so hard to say to much about the gameplay/story.

how do you set up the 3d for pc? I'm not using an NVidia 3dvision glasses kit im using a 55" tv with 3d glasses. This game is 3d it says for xbox, ps3 and pc so I would expect it to be an in game option or something. How do I set this up for my Samsung 55" tv that is on hdmi and a gtx 670 card? Any help please?

But its not DX11 though? Thats where I am confused. Its profile even says no DX11. If its not I can try to tweak it a bit. If it supports both I probably won't bother. @donmilagro You should really open up a new topic and ask for help rather then on a star trek thread.

I don't think it is Dx11, the systems requirements on steam store only say dx9. /shrug

Yeah, thats whats making me wonder why nvidia jumped ship and they changed to a cheaper version of UE3. Ive seriously saw 3 videos and two news sites report DX11/Physx/TXAA and it seems like its not in game. Nvidia is dropping the ball regardless but I wonder if game is a dud, whenever a game doesnt have reviews yet its generally for a reason. Regardless Ill check it out in a few days. I doubt I can fix those shadows though so don't be surprised no patch. Fixing shadows gets harder with more convergence in UE3, which is why I only really have success with FPS's. I pretty much jury rig them.

Just got done playing around with the game for a little bit. Works pretty well, once you set the depth via buttons you can ctrl-f7 and it will stick next time you launch it. I found shadows on high to be to distracting, the low setting works perfect, no other real issues :P
