Patch, patch... and patch..... what a ridiculous world. This game do not exist for me, it is only a beta if it do not support 3D as it was anounced. When I buy something I pay with money, not with a paper that promise to be money in the future (some day, I do not know when).

I tried playing some more last night in 3D Vision and it's just ridiculously slow. Almost everywhere the framerate is in the 8s and 9s. Totally unplayable. I went on ahead and quit out of the game. It's a shame really - because the game looks so stunning in 3D compared to 2D.

Heh:)) true that would be hilarious...but I don't think it can be done....without actual access to the source code... To hack an already compiled code (exe, dll files) it's hard since you have to do it using the assembly language..... So after you identify where the problem is you have to correct it still using the assembly language...
are you serious?

Those guys are some of the best EXE hackers on the planet. If they can patch around all the crazy DRM put into games these days, they can EASILY fix this simple little issue. They just need to make it so the stereo check isn't called each frame (either that or change the function that IS called)

kid's stuff to those guys.

Take this information with a grain of salt (FYI - Mabelrode is my alias on the GOG.com forum since Arioch was already taken)

Mabelrode: Marcin360, will this patch fix the performance issue us 3D Vision users are seeing inside certain indoor areas like the Flotsam Tavern?

marcin360: We are aware of this issue and are working on resolving it.

Arioch,

Why do people complain about 3D vision only on indoor areas? 3D Vision is lowering the framerate across the board - both indoors and outdoors. I've compared the framerates when 3D Vision is disabled and when it is enabled and there is a drastic framerate drop all around.

I can say for a fact that even with the latest patch or driver , that even if you turn off 3d when you start the game your framerate will drop. The only way to get a better framerate is to disable 3d vision from nvidia settings, then play the game. I was getting 40-50 with 3d disabled. With 3d enabled and turned off at start of game... 28-34. I tested 3 times and same results.
I love 3d vision but I agree the box should not show that.

We assume that when people on these boards say they DISABLED 3D Vision, that means they went into the control panel (before starting the game) and unchecked the ENABLE 3D Vision checkbox.
