James Bond 007: Blood Stone - Does it perform well in S3D?
Since the game is out now and looks very promising to me I would like to get some infos regarding its performance in S3D.

I reckon it's not playable. My first impression in an open environment was great, however, once inside a building it becomes pretty much unplayable. Also, the 3D Vision driver will tell you that "[some] 3D objects render at wrong depth". The game itself wasn't particularly great in any way so you better save your money. Ya'll should know that this is a judgement after five minutes gameplay and I would love to hear from gamers who spent some more minutes evaluating this release and its 3D compatibility.

i had to rename to bond2.exe to get it to even render in 3D, otherwise it thinks its some older bond game and appears in 2D.. some minor glowing around objects is only problem I see so far

edit: turn off Dynamic Shadows

Hi guys, this game is a little strange! anyway, it works good in my opinion, with simple modify (just mentioned from RACER_S)

http://rapidshare.com/files/429214270/007BS_3D.zip

The most importand thing, is that is necessary to modify the executable, from bond.exe to bond2.exe (just to change).

If you don't do that, the 3d is still activating, but you don't have the Depth!!! it is difficult to explain..
The distance of the 2 images between the player and something far, (for example a mountain) is the same! so you don't have the perception of the 3d.

Anyway, in the Screenshots there are also screen with bond.exe, and screens with bond2.exe, just to see the difference! :)

Spent some more minutes with the game /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
IMHO the game offers good S3D gameplay with following adjustements:
- In the graphic settings deactivate everything but cubemap, range of sight (max) and effect details (max). This will remove almost every irritating effects (also within buildings) besides from some water halo. The graphics then are not very atmosperic but offer a clear S3D impression. I liked it.
- Rename bond.exe to MassEffect.exe. This will provide You a correct working nvidia laser sight. When I useed bond2.exe the laser sight didn't work.
The convergence settings will be messed up when You start the game but You can adjust it manually.

Personally I had a lot of fun playing the game (not completed yet, still in Bangkok). Some nice stealth and racing action (very impressive in S3D).
