My 3D Vision experience is limited to my initial Benq TX2410T 23,6" monitor and my current ASUS VG278H 27". At the other expreme is watching the Hobbit on a 770" screen cinemascope (18m wide) which is the biggest screen in Sweden as far as I know.
With a bigger screen you need very little picture separation between the eyes to achieve almost 100% depth. Movies are generally concervative to be able to play on the largest screens but even taking this in consideration I like watching them on my tiny screen. The fact that the horizontal distances are pretty small means that a lot more of the picture is visible in both eyes.
Playing at high depth, high convergence and short viewing distance to a small screen is not really that comfortable. Unless you're careful you get pop-out exceeding inverse eye-distance and moving focus between max depth, screen depth and min depth (pop-out) requires significant horizontal eye angle adjustments.
Do you ever crank up convergence making pop-out items exceed Nvidia's recommended -6,5cm?
Unless I'm forgetting something we have screen size, viewing distance, depth and convergence affecting how 3D is percieved and I can't necessary take a 3D screenshot and trust even nearly the same on another setup.

Some day I will be buying a 3D Vision capable projector, but that's just something that will have to wait until we get an apartment where I can have my own gaming/computer/hobby room which has enough space for a projector to work properly. I always try to get the most depth and convergence from a game as possible without the 3D effect becoming uncomfortable (I always have depth set at 100% in the nVidia control panel and sometimes I use the depth registry hack for even more depth if the game allows it). 3D films are a totally different thing all together as they tend to use depth and convergence settings which are suitable for everyone. I for one would love for films to be more "brave" with their 3D implementation. Hopefully someday we could get at least 3D blurays which would have a couple of different options for their 3D effect, such as one with lower depth/convergence and another with higher depth/convergence settings, if that's even possible that is. Something similar would be awesome for movie theaters as well, but anything like that is highly unlikely to ever happen though. It would be awesome if 3D technology would advance so that the viewer could adjust the depth/convergence on their glasses themselves for their liking.

would be nice to have more space in my room though to install it even further to get bigger projection. but it's sure is big i think about 150".
didn't cost too much by the way... the lamp naturaly is abit expensive comparing to the
price of the projector but last for about 4000 hours.
I'm starting to turn to the idea of a 3D projector. I realised one day when I walked out of the room with my glasses on that when I walked back in, and saw my 27" Asus screen from 8ft away the depth was AMAZING. I can only imagine how good a 90" image would look from the same distance.
I'm now dropping hints to my girlfriend how awesome it would be to have a projector in our living room...

Size + viewing distance are very important. I used to have a monitor and well you can see so much "deeper" into a bigger screen.
Convergence I don't really think will change from display to display. Its more a preference of viewer.
I often crank up convergence to extreme values in third person games where I can use two different settings with helix's wrapper. Like Darksiders 2/ Brutal Legend.

I dont know exactly why i always hated 3d on benq, its small and gave me headache even if using 20% depth with default convergence. These 3d vision 2 monitors are supposed to be almost crosstalk free, but to me crosstalk is pretty bad. That is again to blame my dlp pj.

I'm not saying it's impossible just would take time getting used to. Not being able to touch the sniper dot.

Arms length away from 16" 3D laptop screen - interesting. 6' away and it looks amazing. Ditto for my 43" 3DTV. From where I normally sit it looks good (with high depth and convergence so I get 'toyification' or some popout. However from across the room - amazing. The same goes for watching "3D" features at the local theater, frustratingly 'dead' to just ok but when I play the 3D-Blueray on my 43" and sit 10-15' away it looks much better.
