I have the 3D Vision glasses and emitter. Has anyone successfully got 3D Vision working at 1080p 120 Hz on the LG B7/C7 or any native 120 Hz TV?

I believe the 3D Vision kit (original or 2) ONLY works with a small number of PC monitors, not any TVs - for example, not sure how 3D Vision emitter would connect to TV. I am not aware of any EDID mod to work with TV’s new 1080p120 mode, either - just the EDID mods for 60 Hz, line-interlaced 3D TVs. NVIDIA really should consider creating a 3D Vision 3 kit, supporting this new class of HDMI-based 120 Hz displays (among others). This could bring new members to this community - and help NVIDIA sell more 1070/1080 class GPUs...

I think it should be possible with an EDID override but I don't think anyone has ever proved it. All the ingredients are there, it might just work directly in CRT mode as it probably won't pick up the TV as a 3d compatible display. I keep meaning to try this myself as I have access to one of the newer OLEDs. Maybe at some point over the weekend!

Does this TV even let you play games in 1080p resolution @ 120hz with 3D stereo disable?
Here you go it joker EDID with the the Proper Data, Color, HDR and Audio Block for 55UH8500. http://www.mediafire.com/file/y1c5ucabebuyxgd/acermod4kMOD.inf
Thanks for this! I can now play Mass Effect: Andromeda in 4K, 3D Vision and HDR10 enabled on my LG 65C6V, using Asus 1080 TI OC. I haven't noticed any colourbugs either. I've got a final challenge for you - Since the TV supports Dolby Vision HDR, and you add that to the EDID? I would presume it's slightly better quality? ;)

Can anyone recommend a long HDMI cord , maybe 10-15 feet long that might work with my 55C6P?

Hi, What a great day today !! I have been playing in 3D vision for so many years but last year i have started to play on my lg oled tv instead because of it's size and the 4k resolution. Since then i'm really sad as i don't have 3D anymore. And today i learn that it's possible to play in 3D with lg 4K OLED TV !! such a good news ! My tv is a 65C6V and apparently it should work with it (too bad i won't be at home before tomorrow night...) I have seen various EDID in the forum, what is the best one to use with the C6V ? i have some questions: once i have installed the new EDID will i still be able to :
[.]Play HDR files[/.] [.]Watch 3D bluray[/.]
If not what is the easiest way to use both ? do i have to uninstall/install nvidia driver each time i want to see a 3D movie ? or is there a better way ?

i have some questions: once i have installed the new EDID will i still be able to :
 • Play HDR files
 • Watch 3D bluray

If not what is the easiest way to use both ? do i have to uninstall/install nvidia driver each time i want to see a 3D movie ? or is there a better way ?

cyrilp2 - joker18's latest EDID should work well with your C6 (thanks joker18, see https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/943900/3d-vision/search-information-about-edid-for-3dvision-on-lg-oled-4k-55ef950v-55ef9500-/post/5248436/#5248436). Yes, you must re-install this EDID override with every driver update/change. First time installation also requires Windows 10 driver security override, also. You did not mention anything about your GPU - running its native interlaced 3D requires computing the entire 3840x2160 resolution, even though half the data (every other line) is thrown away. This can be very GPU/CPU intensive, but the results are superb. A 1080 Ti is really the best GPU for this display and 3D Vision games. Unfortunately, the EDID mod interfered with 3D bluray playback using apps like PowerDVD, when I tested this previoulsy - but I generally use PS4 for 3D bluray playback, expecially since you can enhance/correct 3D playback, by indicating much smaller screen size during PS4's screen setup.

Give this post a read if you haven't as it covers a lot of quirks and ways to fix things: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1023184/3d-vision/basic-guide-for-passive-3dtvs-edids-4k-upscaling/ Use the Advanced 3D vision configurator to lock eye swap in registry. For anyone interested in image quality/resolution, TaB (or line-interlaced) format should be preferred format for passive 4K TVs - not SBS. With a line-interlaced passive display, SBS throws away ANOTHER 50% of the pixels, so we compute a 3840x2160 image, but display effectively a 1920x1080 resolution image with SBS. Some people testing SBS and TaB modes (on displays without line-interlacing constraints) have also reported TaB seemed to provide better stereo (makes sense, since the horizontal axis is very important in stereo viewing, as the stereo baseline axis).
