All while running at s67 c7.6 which yielded very nice deep 3D.
Now that has to be a result in anyone's book.

Looks like you guys are making some great progress there, and definitely seems playable.
I think posting this to the blog is OK. If Gaijin does not like it, they will contact us, and we can take it down then. There is a good chance they'll never know we exist, because we are pretty small players. They also have a VR mode, so there is an off chance they might be interested as a way to improve their VR effects.
If you do post it, emphasize that playing live has the risk of perma-ban.

yes I see the problem but have no idea for a solution I tried a few things but nothing seems to work right..

The tracer problem is most apparent firing machine guns from tank or plane don't think I noticed it from main gun because of explosion effect from barrel.
I saw the hacksaw effect again and groaned 'not again' but then realised I was using my tank setting separation in plane. I hit the x key putting me in low separation and it was gone. Sigh of relief as any level of separation simply breaks too much for aircraft.
The split marker isn't crucial but thanks for looking at it. It is well beyond my abilities.
I will bundle my version of the fix into a zip file and send it to you when I get back to my pc. I will try your version from the helix blog in due course. I think further mix and matching is counter productive as I spent a long time disentangling shaders and setting hot keys to get a good result. I feel that your version works best for projectors while my mix is more suited to a monitor. For instance the minus key simply screwed up my interface with no gain hence I changed it to a toggle for gunsight. Likewise changing the aircraft settings just brings back problems as illustrated by your query about hacksaw effect coming back. Both release versions would give an element of choice in light of the remaining issues and unfixable effects. However this is your call as it is your fix, I just got a working end result out of it at this end purely by tweaking. I certainly don't deserve any credit for the fix other than being a diligent tester.

Came across a problem flying simulator mode over Russia. My x key needs to be s1 c7. Anything over s1 and the veil is visible over the snowy plains. Also my ini file still has Shader hunting turned to 2.
The tanks were awesome in online battles - the tracer is the only really noticeable fault. The point markers are minor. Have a feeling the tracers are not an easy fix though..

I was toiling again and found I can now run the game at Very High settings and it looks much better and works better then ultra low settings..
I will do some more testing to see what made me want to trey ultra low in the first place..
Just tested your latest release and found some minor things that I had already fixed in my 'mix'.
In your ini file:
[Key1] is defined twice so no tank gunsight toggle.
The x key setting should be s1 c7 for aircraft otherwise veil returns in winter maps. post #101
Couple of your settings only define convergence, so separation could range from 67-3 depending on last hot key pressed.
Shader Hunting is set at 1 so game starts in shader hunting mode.
The clouds for aircraft have been disabled. I had that sorted so it was not necessary to disable cloud. In fact the clouds add quite a lot - mirror shows clouds, missing clouds still cast shadow on the land, the sky looks better with them.
The Aircraft Carrier crew are glitched again. That was sorted in my mix.
I've attached some screenshots to show the crew glitch which is back in and the effect of shade from the missing clouds which do not need to be missing.
This is why I suggested two separate versions rather than yet another mix or go with my mix which is comprehensively tested.
I don't want any credit, you and 4everAwake did the fixing - I did the testing, just the best outcome.
