What happend to WOW No 3D Cursor?
I just resubbed for WOW. I can get it to work fine in 3D with DX11 but I noticed the 3D options in the video menu are gone and the mouse is no longer in 3D. Anybody else have issues?

This has always been the case in DX11, the absence of 3d options does not really matter since you can use nVidia hotkeys for adjusting convergence/depth. Mouse cursor is 2d unfortunately, but you can always switch to dx9 and have it in 3d then.

For whatever reason when Blizzard built the DX11 renderer they omitted the 3D mouse cursor and the ability for UI elements to be placed in 3D which broke the name plates. It's always been like that so I don't think there is much chance of it ever being fixed.
Last time I checked the DX9 renderer still respects the depth setting on UI elements.

I considered it a good thing they got rid of the in game sliders for Depth/Convergence, they never worked properly if you used both the in game options and the NVidia hotkeys to adjust the values.

Also, in DX11 mode the shader for shadows gets separated from everything else when you increase depth and makes the game look kinda broken. Everything looks perfect in DX9 though, plus you get propper 3d cursor and nameplates.
