Yah, that's the GPU for industry stuff. I think that's it's essentially, replacing their Tesla GPU. You'd think that they'd call it Tesla V. But perhaps, the Tesla line still exists. edit: Here's a link to their blog page for it. https://nvidianews.nvidia.com/news/nvidia-titan-v-transforms-the-pc-into-ai-supercomputer Here's an earlier article on it at TechPowerUp https://www.techpowerup.com/239599/nvidias-latest-titan-v-gpu-benchmarked-shows-impressive-performance

Scary thing is, with ASIC resistant cryptocurrencies like Etherium, what are the next series of Nvidia cards going to be priced at.. That said, Nvidia have made a bit of noise recently about selling GPUs direct to gamers rather than miners.

By the time I can afford Titan V something else will have arrived. Looking pretty neat though, wouldn't mind a Titan V in my machine.

Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?

Would see the 1180 or 1180Ti price... https://hothardware.com/reviews/nvidia-titan-v-volta-gv100-gpu-review?page=3 https://www.pcper.com/reviews/Graphics-Cards/NVIDIA-TITAN-V-Review-Part-1-Gaming/Rise-Tomb-Raider .
I hope the future 1180 is even more powerful than that. I want at least a 60-70% increase from my 1080 (in that graph, it's aaaalmost 60% compared to what I assume is a stock 1080). There are some games I want to run at 1440p and 60fps with max or near max graphics :p. Edit: the website shows very good results in TW3.

Cryptocurrencies are having a negative impact upon GPU prices, across the board - see https://www.gamespot.com/articles/psa-do-not-buy-a-graphics-card-today-thanks-bitcoi/1100-6456292/, for example.
