I click "Enable Stereoscopic 3D" and it shows me a 3D image, and says "press ESC to exit." I exit and stereoscopic 3D is not enabled. It just keeps popping up that 3D image and isn't enabled when I exit the 3D image. As for the GeForce drivers, I had 182.06 installed, but after not being able to enable stereoscopic 3D, I figured I had to download the earlier driver (181.22) in order for it to work (as the geforce 3d setup even warned me that I needed an earlier driver). Same problem with 181.22.
Adding to that, when I click "Run Setup Wizard," absolutely nothing happens.
I'm using Vista x64, 181.22 (tried 182.06) drivers and the 181.25 stereoscopic 3D drivers.

So I'm guessing the 3D drivers are supposed to be compatible with the latest drivers? Please, I need some help here. I've been anticipating this for months.
I feel I'm doing something wrong here. What's the difference between 3D Vision and Stereoscopic? Which should I install? Please reply ASAP and let me know how to play my games in 3D using anaglyph glasses!

I had the same issue with Windows 7 x64 bit. You can bypass the problem by making a change to the following reg key.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D]
"StereoDefaultOn"=dword:00000001
