3D vision (video) quit working - is it the new browsers? silverlight?
Two weeks ago, everything was fine.

I was wracking my brain last night on my primary pc, 3x480, 2233RZ monitor, current drivers, etc. reinstalled everything, driversweeper, no afterburner, unplugged additional monitors, non-sli, etc., etc., etc. I could not get Vision to work. In both Chrome and IE9, it showed dual movies, side by side. They were in 3d, but side by side and any button pushing would not change that.

This morning thinking, what programs did I install?----new browsers! Chrome has been updated and Internet Explorer has also. I went to another machine with a single 470 and H5360 and fired it up as it hasn't been turned on for 3 weeks. 3D Vision ran perfect on a 9X version of Chrome and also IE8.

I updated Chrome to it's current 10.0.648.151. 3D vision has quit working properly, it displays 2 videos in 3d side by side same as my 3X480 box.

I installed IE9, and it Does work correctly, but am wondering if I have a different Silverlight setting? I think my settings on the 2 pc's are different.

Just tried in Firefox 3.6.15, and 3D vision works, but not in full screen, Siliverlight pops up when trying to go full screen and won't proceed.

Ok, starting to see a pattern (silverlight) and will quit debugging live and get back to you.

thanks,

gtx 470 machine:

IE9 - perfect
Firefox - works but will not go full screen
Chrome - duel side by side video

gtx 480 machine:

IE9 - side by side 2D
Firefox - works but will not go full screen
Chrome - white screen in box most of the time, sometimes duel side by side.

All my other 3d stuff works fine. Let me know when it works again...

I too am having the same problem. 2 copies of video side by side. It worked perfectly up until they changed the format of the website in early February. Everything else works fine. Let me know when you figure out what is going on. Thanks, Mike.

Chrome updated their browser to ver 10. This exposed a bug in our implementation. The fix for this bug will be released in our forthcoming driver release.

I'm not using Chrome. I'm set up as follows:
Internet Explorer 8
8 MB broadband
I have recently completely uninstalled all Nvidia drivers and then updated as follows with clean install:
3d vision driver 267.24
graphics drive 267.24
physx system software 9.10.0514
HD Audio Driver 1.1.13.1
3d vision video player 1.6.4
I also have Silverlight 4.0.60129.0
I have all the hardware and software required, e.g. Acer GD245HQ, Win 7 64 bit, GeForce GTX460, 3D vision kit, 8GB RAM, etc.
I can still get the 3D Vision Live pics to work. I can also view the Nvidia 3D Test Application, Aliens vs Triangles and Supersonic Sled demos in 3D.
As I said, 3D Vision Live Videos worked perfectly up until they changed the format of the website in early February. Now, no dice. Please help. I like to show the videos off to my mates and say how good Nvidia is... but now I can't. Thanks, Mike.

Same problem here using Firefox 3.6.16. Videos are all side by side but the still images display correctly in 3d using 3d vision on a Quadro FX 4800.

Actually, I noticed that the screen can double when displaying video if I resize my browser while it's playing. It doesn't always happen and sometimes it only happens while I'm resizing then quickly fixes. It does seem to be worse if I drag IE9 toward the top of the screen so it signals that it will maximize, back off (so it doesn't maximize), then resize the browser window.

When it does get stuck with a double display, I just switch to another video and it fixes so this isn't a bad problem for me but it could give clues to the above posters' problems.

I'm using IE9 and the 266.35 drivers in Windows 7.

Call of Duty: Black Ops doesn't display this behavoir at all, but the Tomb Raider: Underworld video does.

A clean install of Driver 270.61 has now finally cured the problem! As usual, I completely uninstalled every Nvidia Driver before installing the latest one's. The only thing I did differently this time was to also uninstall the Alien vs Triangles and Sonic Sled demos as well. I note that the video player on 3D Vision Live looks different now and I didn't check to see if my old drivers worked with this so it may be the new format that fixed it. Anyway, the important thing is that it is now fixed! I like the way all Drivers are now packaged together.
