Currently, all hdmi 1.4 TVs are limited to stereo 1920x1080p @24fps. If you want to transmit stereo @60fps the TVs can only accept lower resolutions : these are stereo 1280x720p, side by side 1080p/i (1/2 horizontal resolution in each eye, both interlaced and progressive) or over/under 1080i (1/2 vertical resolution + interlacing in each eye).

The limitation is not the GPU but the TVs.
The GPU hdmi ouput can be upgraded by firmware upgrade, the TV inputs cannot.
No
You r wrong
I v tested and used 3d games on samsung full hd 3dtv un55c700wf and un46c7000wf
at 1920x1080p@60hz
by using iZ3d side by side format

But one side of cable was DVI(to the gtx285) and other side was HDMI 1.4(3dtv)
it is possible to play 3d games @ 1920 x 1080P @ 60hz on 3dtv
Because it is Full HD TV

only impossible res is 1920*1080@120hz

We are saying the exact same thing.
Side by side (hdmi, nvidia and iZ3D) use one single 1920x1080p frame to transmit the two eye views. Each eye view uses 1/2 of the available horizontal resolution, meaning 960x1080 resolution in each eye.

So far no 3DTV supports stereo 1920x1080p @60fps.

Hi

We have a great FAQ section on NVIDIA 3DTV Play online http://nvidia.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/nvidia....swers.search_nl

There is a question there on this topic

Question
I own one of the GPUs listed above and the product specification states it supports HDMI 1.3. How are you able to support HDMI 1.4a on these GPUs?

Answer
The HDMI 1.3 interface on the NVIDIA GPUs can be programmed to support the mandatory HDMI 1.4a 3D formats. Also, a DVI port on the PC can be programmed to output the mandatory HDMI 1.4a 3D formats, and can connect to a 3D TV using a DVI-to-HDMI adapter.
