Will NVidia support Samsung DLP TV's for 3-D?
I have been planning on purchasing a Samsung DLP TV which is LED based rather than using a lamp and I'm wondering if the NVidia 3-D Stereoscopic gaming will work with the new 3-D supported Samsung DLP screens in the future?

Is NVidia planning on supporting Samsung HDTV's in the future, or is there a good chance they will be supported? I had been wanting to buy the Samsung 67" 67A750 LED DLP screen and use the TriDef glasses, until I heard about NVidia's 3D. But as of now NVidia only supports Mitsubishi DLP TV's which are I believe Lamp based.

I've heard the Mitsubishi DLP TV's are worse than the Samsung DLP TV's, so is there a chance that NVidia will support Samsung DLP HDTV's in the future aside from just Mitsubishi? Anyone?

I have a Samsung HL50A650 3D DLP. I've been using the Tridef drivers, and they work well for the supported games. I've heard the iZ3D drivers also work, but have yet to try them out. Given that they (Nvidia) are going to support the MIT TVs, I'm be very surprised is Samsung wasn't also supported. They'd be throwing away customers.

Thanks,
Ryan

I'm using a 67" Samsung Series 7 DLP, wireless LCD Shutter Glasses, TriDef drivers/Media Player and Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 platform with Intel Core 2 Quad CPU @ 2.4GHz, 3GB RAM and Nvidea GeForce 8500GT Video Card.

Watching 3D DVD's works great and as andrewf@nvidia has hinted, it seems as though NVIDIA and Samsung may continue working together, at least short term and hopefully well into the future...

BTW, I tried my Samsung DLP with the iZ3D drivers and they work great with both ATI and nVidia machines.

why in the future? - Nvidia stereo driver (even the old versions) works with Samsung DLP already (with WinXP)!

greetings

I think I'm going to get the TriDef shutter glasses and use IZ3D software with checkerboard and a Samsung HL67A750 LED DLP TV. Should be good!
