Nvidia 3D Vision in Notebook (including 3D Discover)
Hello there,

For all those 3D enthusiasts and proud owners of pretty much any laptop with Nvidia video card, here you have a couple of pointers on how to get your Nvidia 3D vision running. First if you want to simply try the 3D vision experience I would recommend you to first get the 3D Discover running with simply any anaglyph (red/cyan) glasses. Install the 190.38 drivers with a modified inf found at laptopvideo2go. If you find the experience interesting I would really recommend you to get the Nvidia 3D vision kit (glasses + emitter) or the new wired glasses. You will also need a 3D ready projector or monitor (120Hz) and VOILA! Even if you have an old laptop video card, chances are that you will be able to enjoy the 3D Vision feature; at this point you need to install updated nvidia drivers (download from laptopvideo2go if your card shows as not supported to have 3D Vision). Yes! it works for me with a Nvidia 9600M GS with an Acer 1261p projector, it is an old video card an it works perfectly in many games, including World of Warcraft at 1024x768 with frame rates from 35-50FPS, and other 3D applications like Google Earth. Cheers!
