I've come across this oldie but very goodie... It was mentioned in an old thread - I solved the reflection and Bloom issue with the Max Payne 3 profile.´ Only issue left is the 2D Crosshair - very annoing... A solution anybody ???

Considering the recent Portal 2 fix by 4everAwake it seems very possible. If the stars align. I don't have the game in question. It's not terribly expensive 29SEK but 49SEK delivery. It is currently a stretch of my abilities but having the portal 2 hud shader to work with should be a help. At this point I have no intention to buy the game to begin with. You need to give me a reason.

For the crosshair- try to remove it altogether. Look for modders who remove the crosshair altogether. I think you will find it more fun with no crosshair. You will be surprised how good you can get. If you can't do that, it's also worth trying the Nvidia laser sight (after removing the 2D one.) If you want to remove the crosshair using HelixMod, that's quite easy.

I don't think removing the crosshair would be a very good solution. From the little that I played it last year, there are a lot of times where you need to go into a time dilation mode (precision aim) and targeting would be difficult without the crosshair. Precision aim video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zj5O4DfYX-4 It uses the Unreal Engine 3.0 (heavily modified) with Havok physics and looked great in 3D minus the few problems. Seems right. I'd still rather play it with no cursor, that would make the bullet time more interesting, when there is a chance you'd miss. (I played Halo 3 all the way through in co-op in the Legendary All Skulls On option, which made for now reticle as well. It was impressive and surprising that about half way through we could pull off headshots with no reticle.) If this is UE3 engine, unless it's totally busted, look for the AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True flag in the .ini file. Make sure it's set true. Sometimes fixes this sort of problem.

Just to mention a few - Blood Rayne 2 and Fahrenheit.... I haven't found any mods that remove the crosshair. Odly enough the Nvidia crosshair seems also 2D when used with MP 3 profile ?? I can't find the AllowNvidiaStereo3d=True line in the ini file. I think D-man11 is right about the crooshair - it will be a significent task to play without it :D

This is very good game...i played long time ago in 2D (in that time i did not know about 3D gaming...sorry me)... i have the PC DVD version, should be nice to play in 3D. Can you upload some screenshots? :) For the crosshair, the best is to use helixmod and hunt for the Vertex shader related, upload here so we can help you.
