Greetings,

Does anyone have any information on whether that title will be working in full glorious 3D?

Last I heard it's due out in May.

Cheers,

Not a clue. It's an entirely new engine so, for all I know, it will be in OpenGL. Or maybe they are working with NVIDIA right now to make it 3D Ready.

Edit: 3D Vision blog says it will be compatible: http://3dvision-blog.com/list-of-upcoming-3d-vison-ready-pc-games-expected-soon/

Does anyone have a link to where it was announced as officially 3d Vision ready by a developer? All I could find with google was people requesting it in forums and such.

I greatly enjoyed the drunk, blurry vision in the first Witcher. But that was before I got 3D vision. /stud.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':stud:' />

What do you think about blurry vision in 3D? good? bad? headache?

That's good to hear the news officially. I am still hoping that Skyrim will be 3D Vision Ready - that's the holy grail of RPG's for me...

such good news, thanks andrew!! I may even buy a new card just for this game, it looks awesome, and in 3d :O . Now I agree, if Skyrim gets to work in 3d omg, nothing says immersiveness like an elder scrolls game, I could live forever in skyrim with the hundred mods no doubt will be released, it would be the ultimate rpg wet dream.

So, so, so hyped for The Witcher 2. The first was vastly underrated. Now with the news that they are working with Nvidia for 3D makes the wait even worse. If you haven't played the first and are any sort of an RPG fan you NEED to play this game.

The first was vastly underrated because, when it came out, it deserved it. Loading times were pretty horrible. They fixed up the worst bugs by version 1.2 but all the reviews were already out by then. Now they've gone above and beyond with the extended edition mega patch, making The Witcher a really impressive RPG.

It's very good to hear that they are working on (that's WORKING ON folks, not "will have perfected on day one") making this work with 3D Vision!

(Sheesh, I'm getting RPG overload. I still need to play Fallout:NV. Two Worlds 2 looks worth playing. That Silverfall series doesn't look too bad. Dragon Age 2 should get modded and patched up here in the next month or two. Deus Ex 2 isn't that far off. Star Wars: ToR and Guild Wars 2 are waiting on the MMO front. And, to top it off, a pre-order of Witcher 2 earns you a bonus RPG. I never did play Gothic 2 with the Night of the Raven extension...)

Try Gothic 3 with all official and community patches up to 1.74. You will be pleasantly surpised in s3d. two worlds two is still unplayable in s3d. so no overload really, unless you count DA2 as a game to play....

Hmmm, NVIDIA is doing a cross-promo with The Witcher 2 and 3D Vision. The chances of 3D Vision working well in this game just improved.

Lots of good costumes at PAX!
