Acarnia: Gothic 4 3D Video this is the first part of a series

!!! A patch for 3D?? Well that's a happy surprise!
wow great news about the patch *fingers crossed* , sure purchase if they make it work properly, I love the Gothic games (well once they get them working properly after a million patches, although Gothic 4 seems to be in much better shape from day one)
It is NOT Gothic. Gothic was made for pretty hardcore players. This is made for CASUAL players - as in "I play a couple of hours on most Saturdays". Most of the fancy features and openness of Gothic are gone because, when you only play a couple of hours a week, they go beyond challenging and into impossible. Remembering that conversation you overheard while walking through town last night can be tricky but, for a casual gamer, 'last night' suddenly turns into 'three weeks ago.' So out with openness and in with the linear.
If you scratch out the 'Gothic' from the title and take it on its own, it should be a nice, lightweight RPG. It's more on Fable's level than Gothic, really.
although im not trying to recommend different software (because for the most part NVIDIA 3d vision is the best) currently im using tridef simulated 3d to play this and MOH because its the only 3d solution ive found that works without horrible halos and lighting glitches (even after spending alot of time tweaking convergence and depth) hopefully Nvidia will come out with a fix for these games at some point but until then give the alternative a try.
I think you are. You have posted this tridef at multiple posts. Are u spamming?

no im really not as most people on this forum already own 3d vision and i have also made it very clear that 3d vision is the best software of the two. I own both sets of software and am simply offering the only current available solution to people experiencing the same frustrating problem as I was...so get a life

I have made another video for Arcania: Gothic 4 showing off some different scenery, I have recently upgraded my hardware and so the Video is in much higher resolution, and you can really notice the difference.
Watch the video or download it from here

Its an ok game. Kinda like Fable light. My first Gothic game so I don't know the difference. 3D is definitely not reccommended. Some areas in town the scene will literally split in half and spread. Some shadows are bad. I have tried all settings and depth/converge to no avail. It is a good game but should be $29.99
Ohh...LOTRO is free and looks great heehee sorry couldn't resist /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' />
