All we have heard so far is sometime in the future... hopefully soon. I am waiting for 3-way SLI support myself, but they only just got regular SLI support in recently.

So how does the driver react to a tri or quad sli setup as of now? Does it work but just use two cards or does it fail?

I think of selling my second 295 because i dont play 2d anymore and i dont think
there will be drivers for quad sli before before the next directx 11 cards some out.

I have 3-way SLI here using 3 x gtx280. For 3d I run 2 x 280 and use the third as the physix engine.

Hi, have you tried the 1.11 drivers, I did and found that the RE5 benchmark using 16x anti-aliasing nearly doubled in framerate on my system - 295 quad SLI, i7965@4GHz, 12GB DDR3 RAM into Samsung PS50B45O 3D resolution 1360x768. I repeated my tests twice so maybe despite no official support in all circumstances 3D vision might be able to use quad SLI in some circumstances already?

It would really be nice to get some sort of hint about this. I feel like one of the gtx295's would be better off on ebay than sucking up electric in my PC.

what size screens are you guys playing on that you need a gtx 295 in quad sli?

I'm running with 2 gtx 285s and i get between 40 to 60 fps per eye in most of my games with S3d on and almost everything (that doesn't negatively impact S3d) on.

To Manippy and dogcam why don't you download the RE5 benchmark and try for yourself, I just repeated as before and found that at my PS50B450's 3D resolution of 1360x768@60Hz (1Hz transmits 2 frames, 60=120,on this Samsung 3Dready certified set) with C16XQ anti-aliasing and 295 quad enabled I get 25.5/51fps without quad 13.9/27.8 fps, at C8XQ with quad 45.1/90.2 without 30.2/60.4. Therefore 295 quad SLI certainly is already active with the 190.62 drivers in RE5, again try it yourself/s.

I normally do not like wasting time benchmarking so I do not have the numbers but Crysis Warhead at above resolution and 8xAA plays phenomenally well with quad enabled even with masses of enemies and explosions and certainly does not without quad enabled, so it is not just RE5 getting a benefit from the added expense and electricity, check it out yourselves.

msm903 does 40-60 fps per eye? (if 120Hz 3D LCD 40-60 fps is 20-30 per eye, if Texas Instruments equiped 3Dready plasma/DLP 40-60 is per eye) refer to the fixed RE5 benchmark, if so at what resolution and AA settings? For 1360x768 onto a 50 inch plasma with its brightness, super quick response time and enhanced colour spectrum, 8xAA or above is clearly superior in image to lesser AA settings. In the games named above a single 295 is OK when there is minimal action but 2 really helps smoothness (immersion) when the action gets going if at 8+ AA.

With 3D vision on????
I think I misted something then,
didnt read anything about that with new drivers,
I will try it, but it also would be nice
if nvidia confirms it in this topic which
is alive for a long time now.
