3D Vision disabled after W10 1809 update
Just installed W10 1809 update and had a few issues. 1) if you have iTunes and movies then check your preferences to make sure iTunes did not change your downloads settings. Mine changed movie downloads from full size HD videos to SD videos. 2) What I need help with is this issue with 3D vision. After the W10 1809 download, Gforce experience will show 3D vision drivers as not being installed. I watched the download and I saw the driver being installed but after the downloads finished Gforce shows no driver. The Nvidia Control Panel is also missing the 3D vision link for setup. my system: i7 990x 980ti 12g memory 860 SSD three ASUS monitor PG278Q Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Have you done a clean install? Every new version of Windows there are some bugs with 3D. I will wait new drivers from nvidia

After every system upgrade you must reinstall the NVidia driver.

Yes, I reinstalled three times and I noted I watched the download and it showed the 3D vision being installed but in the end the summary showed the driver not installed. I always do a clean install. Noticed a third issue with Samsung magician after the 1809 install. I have a 860 evo and now the overprovisioning section no longer works. Let me know of any other suggestions.

DON'T use GeForce Experience to install the 3D Drivers.. And to Enable 3D in the newer drivers get 3D Fix Manager Program at the HelixMod Blog Found here: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2017/05/3d-fix-manager.html

The next Windows update has already arrived? Not again... >.<. Looking forward to it :( @dc8flyer: probably you have to wait until Nvidia fixed their drivers for v. 1809

I noticed this too yesyerday evening but decided not to post about it. Yes you install 1809, reboot then 3D is disabled but thanks to 3D Fix Manager, I only switched the 3D button ON again and everything was fine. Pretty cool no need to install driver, neither go through the setup wizard. I'm still on 398.82 btw!

I finally relented & installed Windows 10 (v 1809) and the latest Geforce driver (417.35). Everything works for the most part. One thing I noticed: Some DX9 games need to be ran in compatibility mode for Windows 7. But when this is set, 3D won't enable. I tried assigning the game to a profile, but still no dice. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
