Rise of the Tomb Raider 2016 - 3D Vision Fix
4800x900 didn't show as an option, so I had to pick 4098x768. Definitely blockier, but I pushed my monitors back to about 1.6 meters and it's harder to tell, at least in the part of the game I'm currently in - I'm 46% through and I'm battling an incursion at night with lots of cutscenes, explaining it as spoiler-free as possible. FPS is currently 19-32 that I noticed on the steam overlay. For some reason, EVGA PrecisionX still shows 0 FPS on my G510 LCD. Also, strangely enough, switching truehair from off to very high doesn't appear to change the FPS (and the hair is no longer hovering to the right of her head). As an aside, I have PrecisionX set at a stable overclock of +125MHz clock, +300MHz memory.
I BET!!! You didn't configure your Surround Resolutions:P Here a quick image showing how you can do it;) 4800x900 is there as well as other resolutions;) Always try to use one as close to the 16:9 Aspect ratio (of a single screen) as possible!

Hi Thank you all for the fix. I am not currently using the Community fix. I just wanted to try out the official patch first and see how it worked. But i got 2 questions: 1. When I try to use Stereoscopy 3D in game only option I get is Side by Side. Is this the only way to play the game on 3d? How do I make it work with 3d vision full 1080p? 2. Is the community fix significantly better than the official patch? Thank you guys,
There is a 2% penalty in frame-rate for Streaming in 3D vs playing in 3D. The internal encoding engine that takes advantage of the nvenc has a very low performance impact when recording so anyone can pretty much stream as long as you have a GTX670 videocard. As more people take advantage of the SBS rendering in Youtube, there will be an audience for 3D videos since VR headsets will also be able to take advantage of these in the future. And with many tvs already supporting that SBS rendering, they can even see how great 3D really looks compared to movies if they watch those 3D gameplay videos. In fact, with this combination, you could even twitch stream live to everyone in the world 3D gameplay in SBS right now as long as you have Geforce Experience Beta.
That's interesting, because when I had my GTX690 and I was streaming Elite Dangerous windowed 1920x1080 with OBS v0.657b using "Nvidia NVENC" there was quite a big performance impact. However, I haven't tried streaming in over a month because I've been playing these Tomb Raider games :) As an unknown streamer, I had a hard enough time getting anyone to come into the channel. I'd hazard a guess the amount of people with 3d is a pretty small audience, and VR is minuscule (VR will likely continue to be edge case until the cost is lowered to mainstream). Also, 35% of viewers watched via mobile devices in 2015 according to their year-end report, and that number is growing. When you're an unknown streamer, you want to appeal to as wide of an audience as possible. Just my thoughts on the matter, not meaning to disrespect.

Most of the VR headsets that are coming out are expensive, but there is the other side of the VR headsets addons like VR mounts that attach to mobile phones. As more people are aware of VR in general, there will be a greater chance of SBS videos being accepted because that video transmission is most compatible with TVs and VR headsets to watch the videos without any kind of conversion mechanism. Right now, everybody has a mobile phone. What they will find out eventually, is they don't need to have a specific VR headset to view 3D videos. Most 3d gameplay videos will need about a 30% increase in 3d separation to have the same 3D impact as watching on a regular display though. About performance impact of the NVenc, it's the same mechanism that is used to send gameplay streaming to Nvidia Shield devices. There is literally a imperceptible performance impact for playing and streaming games. Your performance may be limited by some other software overhead.

In the display menu, you should enable exclusive fullscreen and set the refresh rate to at least 120 Hz. Once you've done that, the 3D option becomes available. Thank you guys so much for doing such a stellar job with Tomb Raider. You've totally embarassed the people who actually got paid for their lackluster attempt.

When uninstalling the fix, do you also have to undo the Nvidia Inspector and Geforce 3D Profile Manager changes? If so, it probably should be added to the uninstall section, as well as switching out of the beta build in Steam.

Wow guys, Im speechless. What visual porn to my eyes! The first mission and the start of the syria mission works very well with all on Very high except those settings that I have kept on your recommended levels. Hair On works well too and looks really good in the cut scenes. 980 TI and Sony HMZ. Off to play more!
