I'm having issues getting the PJD6210 working. NVidia's website says it's supported, and the projector touts itself as '3D Ready', however, I can't seem to figure out the magic combination of drivers to get it working.
Has anyone had success getting this projector to work?

I'm having problems getting the drivers installed, period.
Here's my computer setup, so it should have all necessary horsepower, even if I do have to config it for XP
Windows XP, 64-bit
Quadro FX 5600
3.19GHz, 16 GB RAM
The ViewSonic PJD6210 only has RGB input and no connection for the stereo cable.
One major hangup I'm having, is that my FX5600 drivers are nearly impossible to get rid of. I'm trying to eliminate them in safe mode, but that has the weird side effect of throwing my computer into a perpetual reboot cycle if I ever try to go into safe mode again. However, as soon as I start Windows normally, it automatically reinstalls my FX5600 drivers, putting me back at square one.
I have been able to successfully install and detect the IR emitter. However, I'm having no luck getting a succesful install of any of the video drivers to replace the FX5600. Typically, any I try will end up erroring out.
If anyone has any ideas, please share. I'm not all too familiar with the CPU drivers, so I'm hoping that I'm just completely missing the boat with what I should be trying to install. I obviously can't run the setup.exe since I'm on XP, but I can't seem to find the right files to force in.

What cable are you using to connect the PJ with the PC?
I had problems using anything other than the cable supplied with the projector which was only about 3ft long.

I'm using the one that came with the projector. It's a RGB that's probably about 5' long.
I thought I might have gotten it all to work as I didn't run into any setup error, and finally had 120Hz as a display option. However, I tried to run the test video and I got this error
"3dtv.at DirectX Stereo Renderer - Creating DirectX 9 device failed!"
Error: NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D Video Player was not able to play this file!
Reason: Could not connect Stereo Transformation Filter output pin 1!
Filename: C:\Documents and Settings\justins\Desktop\GeForce 3D Vision Experience.wmv

3dtv.at Stereo Transformation Filter (Output 1 not connected)
3dtv.at Stereo Windows Media Source (Audio 0 connected to DirectSound Audio Renderer, Video 0 connected to 3dtv.at Stereo Transformation Filter)
FIXED: I finally had an epiphany where I remembered that I had shut off some Direct3D settings in the past because they were causing another program on my computer to not render correctly. To turn them back on, I did Run > dxdiag and then re-enabled some of the display options that I had disabled.
Also, I think I'll fight this fire when I finally get it working, as I recall seeing someone post about it in the past, but moving into 120Hz dims my display tremendously. Not sure what's causing that.
EDIT: I tried using this in a seperate 3D program, and I'm getting moderately successful effects. It kinda works, but I'm getting major double vision issues. I guess the good news is that I can't get it to work to a certain extent. Maybe I just have some settings that are a bit off?

Mine did that, I would say it is normal behaviour if a little disappointing.

Hard to say. I'm not a gamer, and I'm not planning on using it for gaming, so I don't have a good frame of reference. That being said, at $430, it's about the price that I've paid for other basic projectors, and functions just as well as those plus the added benefit of 3D capability. I'm using it from the architectural side with some Autodesk products, to give me the ability to view architectural models in 3D. And I still haven't gotten all of the settings worked out perfectly yet, so there are still some optomizing that could probably be done.

I am wondering why you are having issues. It's supposed to be fully supported for nVidia 3D Vision. I wonder if it is has much of a problem in games as it is for you in your 3D modeling apps. I have been thinking about this projector since its super cheap but there is an Acer and Optoma for under $700 that have HDMI ports and do 720p - but the Optoma isn't 3D Vision certified and the Acer isn't out in the U.S. and no indication of if Nivida is going to support the Optoma.
You are the only one I have seen use the 6210, everyone else has the slightly upgraded model so was just curious. :)

Well, I am using it on an XP computer, which isn't supported, and throws another twist into the whole equation. If I was running 7 or Vista, it might have gone a bit smoother.
I'm still unable to get any of their stereo movie samples to play correctly though. I can only get certain Autodesk products to work.

Thanks for the reply! How was the quality? Also, what about getting a VGA cable for PS3?
