3d only on primary monitor? Please help with newbie setup :-)
Hi all,

I just registered and read across the positings but somehow - even not described in detail but I understood the 3d Monitor has to be the primary monitor?

Since yesterday I own a 3d vison kit and a GTX460 (Gainward) and an ACER GD245HQ. In my PC I also use a Geforce 7600 for 2X22" Samsung. I connected the
ACER-HQ monitor to the GTX460 and as long I Use this one as the primary monitor and the other two as extension - everything is fine. Due to the cable and room
situation I would like to use one of the 22" (connected to the 7600) as the primary monitor and of course play 3d on the ACER-HQ. Any hints or ideas how I could get this working?

Cheers & Thanks

You can do what I used to do which is swap primary monitors before starting a game.
This one really isn't NVidia's fault, most games only enumerate modes on the primary device and monitor.
Some games do have options to play on secondary monitors but they are few and far between.
