Hmm the plot thickens, after installing the latest NVIDIA driver, my 3D doesn't kick in, likely because it's not seeing a 3D profile. - My TV picks up the 3D signal and 1080p resolution says not available (as I'm using 3DTV) I tried everything, even having to verify/reinstall my Witcher 3 installation. To no avail :( as soon as I select 720 res, there is no visible 3D.

Change that to last Fullscreen option which suppose to trigger 3D. Check that fist.

I don`t know about minimum requirements but I had crashes when I was playing on 680 with all visuals at high and all went good when I dropped it all down.

Anyway after a clean reinstall of the entire driver and reapplying the patch to TW3 it's working like a charm. Did suffer a crash after an hour or so, but I'm reading this is normal..sortof. I can live with it. Something else though, an issue on many games, convergence (which I like to increase to get doll effect) seems to switch back to some default setting, after a loading screen (or lengthy cutscene) I don't know if other people have this issue, I also have it with Metal Gear Solid Rising Vengeance.

Since I don't have much time to play in these days, can someone please provide a savegame with latest game version (1.22) so that I can perform some test also in novigrad and skellige to see how far the ctds can go? Thank you in advance. Thank you Skaut, I alteady tried with minimum settings, going to try also low resolution. It would be strange though, I had not a single ctd on high settings and 1080p res on win 8.1 + community fix

Is there anything special you have to do with this using the GOG version? There's already a d3d11.dll and d3dcompiler_46.dll, though the latter appears to be exactly the same size. I've tried it and the game is crashing as soon as the cutscenes finish. Even if I toggle off 3D Vision, I get a crash within a few seconds of getting control of Geralt.

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.

Skaut by the way, I saw in another post you play witcher 3 3d vision on a ROG swift with 680 SLI, am I right? Can you please tell me with which settings (high, ultra...) and with what average FPS? I just bought a second used 780 and I'm planning to buy a ROG Swift, do you think it will be enough for almost max settings 3d vision and 50-60 fps? Thanks

It`s possible inside a city but not in majority of the game. I keep like 80% of those options to max and I`m happy with performance but I have no idea if that is anywhere close to 60fps. I would guess it is at 40-50 and jumps to 60fps in closed locations (like small gardens or small villages). I`m using texture mod and some other visual adjustments so it might be a little bit better without them. Anyway that resolution and picture quality is demanding. That`s why I`m waiting for 1080Ti for NG+. Don`t know anything about SLI at this point. It was fairly broken when I had two 680s and nobody confirmed if that change in present situation.

SLI is working perfectly fine: - Singly 980Ti I get 20-25FPS @ 5760x1080 3D (3D Surround) - SLI 980TI I get 40-50 FPS @ 5760x1080 3D (3D Surround) Obviously double these values for 2D. SLI got fixed in Windows 10 as well a few months ago and all is golden:) Settings: All ULTRA except - Grass view range is lowered to high. (or what is called the extra foliage setting). - Antialising is set to OFF as it murders the FPS in any resolution > 1080p and it makes everything looks blurry. On 1080p 3D I couldn't see a performance impact with AA ON/OFF but at 5760x1080 I lose around 10-15FPS in 3D.

Thank you guys. I'm also waiting for 1080ti here, but I fear it's still a long way to come at a reasonable price. I also have red somwhere here in the forum someone saying SLI on Rog Swift had been fixed. Skaut, are the performance you posted with or without Nvidia Hairworks? I don't care about it that much, maybe with that turned down, and maybe some other not so important settings like Helifax suggested (AA), 780 SLI (EVGA SC edition) might manage 60 FPS, what do you think? Going to try other test with different drivers/fix combinations on my crashing witcher 3/win 10 now, hope I'don't have to buy win 8.1 just for the witcher :(
