I played Oot when it raises , and that was my fault.. when i end that epic, my heart was already lost inside a world of gaming...
Many years has past, playing everything, but never reach the same funny feeling again...
I think that was me, i grow up... i made a bored person or something like that...
But nope... I play Breath of the wild and i feel like many years ago when Ocarina of time was the only one game in the world to me.
Ok, is running quite playable in pc by an emulation on cemu 1.7.3d ( http://cemu.info/ ) , and i think maybe i will never see running in 3d vision, but im sure is the worthest game to make it works in 3d, the definitive experience...
sorry but im pasionate, i need to share my impresion to some other gamer.

I tried Zelda and collision isn't working yet. not really playable for me :p. But yes, I would love to see this game in 3D. I heard it was up to the developers of CEMU to build in a 3D function, in another thread about CEMU. It is nice Dolphin has it. I think we're lucky that Dolphin has it, it's not exactly a commonly requested feature, I think.
But I would be really happily surprised if CEMU got this feature too.
I bought it with the Switch, don't regret but hope there will be other great games :/
The next Mario (december) looks pretty amazing.. imo Super Mario 64 is the best game ever made, so many different genres in one game, yet they made it work. Zelda BotW feels somewhat similar to when playing Mario 64 for the first time (wow, 21 years ago now..)

I picked up a Switch for BOTW and Mario in the future, but it would be neat to get BOTW running in 3D as well. I haven't done anything with CEMU before, but has anyone seen if the ReShade Super Depth 3D plugin works with it?

I also picked it up with the Switch. Played for around 10 hours, but it did not get me. I got hooked on Horizon Zera Dawn and PC gaming later. I am a bit disappointed that the awesome 3d function of the N3DS is not with the Switch. Actually it is a pretty good way to play the old Zelda games in 3D without glasses.

As much as I'm enjoying BOTW I'm surprised it scored so high on metacritic. IMO The Witcher 3 is a better game in almost every way, story, graphics and tech, Sound, and maybe even game mechanics.

BOTW does not push the envelope of open world games.
It doesn't have the best graphics (of course it runs on a portbale system)
It doesn't have the best music (minimalist themes)
It doesn't have the best story (Save the princess, save the world)
It doesn't have the best dialogue (or monologue... ahem, Link does speak but we don't know what)
It doesn't have the best voice acting (the few voice acted dialogues are quite bad actually)
It doesn't have the best combat system (it's actually quite good thanks to the physics system and the excellent AI)
It reuses a lot of assets and has lots of cliché quests
But it integrates all it's elements into an amazing package that is much much bigger than the sum of it's parts.
Something most open world games don't do.
And I absolutely love it.
As much as I'm enjoying BOTW I'm surprised it scored so high on metacritic. IMO The Witcher 3 is a better game in almost every way, story, graphics and tech, Sound, and maybe even game mechanics.
I finally broke down and grabbed 'Zelda BOTW'... I'm not impressed at all, this is so far from what I've always loved about the series, well most of it anyways... simple, iconic and weapons/items/rewards really mattered, a really solid action-adventure(The Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, A Link Between Worlds, etc).
Weapons are watered down, they break, 90% of the time I get attacked and forget I don't have a weapon equipped anymore and I'm fumbling with the controls to equip a new one(hold right on the d-pad and flip through them with the right stick) while the enemies rush you and pretty much just plow you over... don't get me started on randomly getting stuck climbing things(trees/walls) when in the middle of combat or trying to evade... this is definitely the most clunky LoZ I've ever played.
The controls are a unintuitive mess, Run=B, Jump=X, Run and Jump=Hold B and then Press X... I beat this golem thing with bombs(weird unlimited digital bombs, round and square...??)... Lock-On to his weak spot the entire time with ZL Button, Press L Button to Hold a Bomb and then R Button to throw it, Press Up on the D-pad and Select Square Bombs with the Right-Stick, Press L Button to Hold a Bomb and then R Button to throw it, Press Up on the D-pad and Select Round Bombs with the Right-Stick, Rinse and Repeat...
You can't even cut grass/break stuff to get hearts anymore... you have hearts, you just have to eat food to heal... not to survive, just to heal... let's take all the stuff that makes Zelda Zelda, strip it out and replace it with all the generic/watered down crap that makes Skyrim/RPGs tedious, repetitive and ultimately boring... *yawn* [Ok that was a bit harsh, I've played a ton of Skyrim but at the end of the day, I've never cared enough to finish it... and I probably never will]
I could go on an on about how much this game ISN'T TLoZ but I won't... anymore, maybe... :P

You must not have played the original Zelda, because this game is largely influenced by it. Botw gave me so many moments of suprise and discovery, I was still finding new game mechanics after 80 hours of play. As someone who loves the original games sense of freedom and adventure, Botw is the closest this series has gotten to capturing that by far. The dungeons are a bit lacking in Botw and it could have better rewards for finding secrets. But the world itself is masterfully crafted, and the sense of adventure is unrivaled in the other 3d zeldas compared to this. Its also the most challenging 3d zelda they've made. I disagree with the controls being clunky and the combat not being good as well. I never got stuck climbing things once so not sure how you managed that. It has the best and most engaging 3d zelda combat thus far. The other games are way simplified. This game uses real physics and integrates it into the combat. The options for tackling situations in this game is so much more varied than other zeldas. The original zelda didnt have tons of story or voice acting, and it didnt need it. Its not needed for an epic adventure. Gameplay is king. The only thing i'd change is removing a bunch of the shrines and adding actual themed dungeons back into the mix with some cool items, like the original zelda, and make the bosses cooler than they were.
So for fans of the original like myself, this zelda is far more "zelda" than many of the 3d games. Maybe for people who started with Oot it isnt i guess.

I've played almost all of them, starting with the first, I listed the original Zelda in my list of the solid action-adventure titles(The Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Wind Waker, A Link Between Worlds, etc)... this game is largely influenced by Skyrim's faults. Lol.
So far I haven't hit that 'Gameplay is king' moment yet... maybe one day when I get a sword that doesn't shattered like a glass dildo mid-combat, unless you mean foraging useless crap to make recipes in a pot so I can refill my hearts and get a 8:00min resistance to cold... Lol. Still the furthest thing from the original action-adventure...
So for fans of the original(and almost the entirety of the franchise) like myself, this Zelda is Skyrim-lite with a new paint job... it's slapped together, dungeons/shrines have been utter jokes so far and more importantly it completely ignores the majority of the iconic stuff in the series... the stuff that makes the series the series... you can like if you want that's fine by me but I still think it's lacking... :)
