Ya, no kidding, odd.
I have Win7Pro/SP1 x64, game v.x86, and yup, same Steam Legit Copy NO DLC.
I have clean installs of the OS, maybe 2 months old. Either I have something missing, or have over updated all the Win7 updates, ie. optional updates. I don't have anything else running.
This was 344.65, right? Do you have Geforce installed?
Anyway, no worries here and moving on.
Thank you for all you do Helifax :-)
Yeah 344.65 drivers, although you can try with 344.48 (as for me are the best ones currently).
I have Windows 7 x64 Ultimate...and Windows Update is disabled since like 2 years ago lol...
But, I've tested this on the Laptop with Windows x64 Ultimate with all the updates to date and have no problem found it working. Only diff is that is a single GPU (still shouldn't matter).
What I haven't tested is pure SLI with one screen. (I know in Surround SLI works differently than single Screen SLI).
Still there is no benefit of SLI in these games as the second card is not really used:( (OGL and SLI is not actually working, driver side)... So you should get the same performance both in SLI and SIngle GPU. (I have it On for Surround)...
Maybe this bit of info helps?

Sorry for late reply, been busy, disabling multi GPU and then reinstall wrapper (so that inspector inserts profile again) does not help, 3D is still disabled and side by side image is shown. Pressing ctrl + t does nothing. I wuld really, really like to play this game in 3D :/

Hey;))
Currently there are some weird issues with the drivers...
What you should do is:
- Install 344.48 or 344.65 driver. If you don't do this it will not work... For a quick test go to 3DVisionLive.com and see if you can see any 3D Image there (in Chrome/Firefox browser) or on HelixMod Blog.
(If you fail to see 3D Vision starting properly and see the image in 3D not side by side then you are OK)
- If you have SLI try to disable SLI in NvPanel (I am not sure when this thing got broken and I am looking into it). Don#t worry as the Game engine IS NOT using SLI anyway... So, ZERO loss there.
- After this install the wrapper (so the profile gets added).
Now, it should work! Let me know if it still fails!

Hmm, didnt help, downgraded to 344.65 disabled multi GPU and instaled wrapper, still SBS. But, now If i enable multi GPU and in game profile settings set Force alternative frame 1 or 2 it does work and no frame drops that I expeeriened with 347.09 drivers. But I get a lot of strange artifacts, like some textures flickering in blue, bullet holes are at wrong depth, left and right eye are out of sync. :/

Left and Right ayes ARE OUT OF SYNC!!! Read the readme file;)) That is a limitation of the wrapper and the game engine....
- Some things probably do render at wrong depth as I remember I missed a few shaders....nothing really game breaking though...
- The blue textures is a new one... What game are you running (sorry I forgot).
If you are using it for RAGE: you need to : disable the intro movies (as said in the Readme) and don't have any DLC installed. (one DLC breaks the fix for some reason... I didn't had the time to investigate yet:( )
Looks like you got it working:)

Ah, read somewhere that the sync problem was fixed? (OR was that for Amnesia maybe?). Bummer, my brain hurts because of the sync problem.
Its Wolf so same engine, no DLC, Steam legal version
edit: lol the blue stuff was just a light effect that got a bit strange in 3D and at a distance

Unfortunately I cannot fix this in Wolf or Rage (ID5 engine) I put around 80hours in trying to fix this until I gave up...:( Like I said before, depends how tolerant you are to this sync issue... I know they are FPS but if you avoid rapid movement (vertically mostly) you should keep the vertical parallax problem to a minimum.
Now that you ask:
Regarding Amnesia games... Initially I fixed those games and there wasn't any eye sync issues...
With the 1.3 patch they did a major overhaul on the engine and unfortunately I wasn't able to make the renderer sync the eyes...
For Amnesia the Dark Descent the fix contains the 1.2 version of the game executable where the sync works correctly (but no controller support).
For Amnesia a machine for Pigs I wasn't able to find the 1.2 version executables.... so there is a sync issue there...

Hello helifax. (sorry if my english stinks...)
The first thing I want to say is that I really enjoy and appreciate the extraordinary work your are doing with 3d vision. I have already enjoyed titles as dead space 3, far cry 3, X-rebirth, and many others thanks to your work. All we the entire 3d community are indebted to you ;-)
Now, wolfenstein *sigh* . It doesn't work for me. I have vaguely readed some pages but my english is not very good.
I give you data:
- nvidia drivers: 347.09
- I have an SLI rig (2xGTX 680)
- The SLI profile is select as "single GPU" in 3d games config in nvidia control panel.
- I do have nvidia inspector, but I'm not sure how to use it.
- I have a secondary monitor. Don't know if maybe it may conflict.
SYMPTOMS: After installing the wrapper, the game doesn't render in 3d and ONLY ONE LENS IN THE GLASSES IS DARK.
I don't know a shit about programming or so. I just installed the wrapper and go. I prefer to ask before I begin to touch and mess something.
Thanks a lot.

Edit: Somehow my browser decided to open page 48 of this thread as the latest, so this quote is a little dated - apologies for the confusion if anything has changed in the meantime.
But back to the other question: At the moment I haven't released the source code for the wrapper. It is mostly C ( for the actual OpenGL-DirectX interop) and C++ for the shader manager part, etc.
If you really want the source code for the wrapper I can send it (after I clean it up a bit) but I believe it will only be more confusing if you want to implement the OGL-DirectX interop in your app. For that purpose I have exactly the source code I can send you (I just need to properly document it) without the extra overheads for the OGL hooking procedures and so on... I can also help you set it up if you encounter problems with it;))
Are you considering releasing it as open source software by any chance?
Obviously it's entirely your decision since it's your software, but I would just add that I have heard a lot of developers say that they want to release something open source... after they have had a chance to clean it up a bit - and the vast majority of those never got released as a direct consequence (I used to be guilty of this as well, then one day I realised I was never going to get around to cleaning it up and probably wouldn't be 100% happy with it anyway so I just uploaded it warts and all).
Also, don't worry too much about documentation - while it's nice to have something aimed at being read by a human that can provide a high level view of the software, open source software always has guaranteed up to date and highly accurate documentation, which is of course the source code itself :)

Ya, actually the sli testing on the single monitor (780ti) was just that. I was going after surround on my 680x3 machine. Anyway, my wife is telling me I need to take out the trash ;-) , so I think I'll just head out and go back to work! We're good Man, Take care, and Thank You.

Thank you very much.

Hi,
Yes, I agree with you;)) I keep on saying I will clean it up and post it on Git. I will release it this weekend (either in the current state or cleaned up a bit;)) )
I always end up doing something else... damn TODO list is growing hahaha:))
