The Acer is out, got mine yesterday. It's pretty damn nice for a TN panel. The viewing angles still suck but that's pretty much to be expected but the color accuracy was quite impressive out of the box. The 3D affects my eyes a bit differently than my 3D TV does, takes me a bit longer to focus properly but that could be because I am sitting so much closer to the monitor than I do to the TV. I also notice some ghosting in certain games but I'm not sure if that's the monitor or the game itself, either way it's barely noticeable and doesn't bug me. I love the fact that the 3D transmitter is built into the monitor saving me some of what little desk room I have left. It's quite nice to finally be able to play my PC games in 3D on a decent sized monitor without having to plug another PC into my living room TV.

Acer 27" is available now from Newegg. Its a wonderful product.
I wish there was a cheaper version of that Acer 27" @ Newegg that came without the glasses. I have 3 pairs of 3D Vision glasses already.....no need for extra.
Plus, according to The 3D Vision blog, the monitor won't be available for long because Newegg has limited stock of it. Not good when I won't be able to afford it until the end of the summer, after I've built my new PC rig. I hope this info isn't accurate because I really want this monitor once I'm done building a proper rig that can handle 1080p 3D.
This does seem like THE perfect 3D Vision monitor, though - everyone has been waiting forever for larger 1080p 120 Hz monitors and finally one appears. Full 120 Hz 1080p at a size big enough to use for movie watching with friends, and small enough to use as a normal (yet awesome) monitor. Shame if it really won't be available for long due to limited stock @ Newegg. Hopefully they plan on restocking it after because I will begin crying myself to sleep if I finish my $2000+ rig in August and this monitor falls off the market. :(
I'm almost tempted to spend the money I've already got saved and buy this monitor now to make sure I secure it, but I just don't see the point when my meager GTX 280 can't even handle 1680x1050 in 3D with most recent games, let alone 1080p.
