nvwgf2um.dll crashes almost any game with 3d enabled
Just got a BenQ monitor with built in 3d vision 2 and almost every game I play crashes when I turn 3d on. Some are random crashes others I can reproduce. I get the "blahblah.exe has stopped..." and in the event viewer it's always the same. Faulting module name: nvwgf2um.dll
So far I've tried driver versions 306.97, 310.33, 54, and 61 with the exact same results.
BF3 crashes randomly
Portal 2 crashes randomly and quite often
L4D2 crashes constantly
CIV-5 is the worst. Anytime I try to zoom or enter the city view it craps out.
Anyone one else having this issue? I'm out of ideas. The only thing I can think of is maybe it's a Windows 8 issue. I haven't mustered up the energy to pop in another HD and install Win 7 to try it out.
My specs.
Core i7 950 OC'd to 3.45
Gigabyte G1 Sniper x58 chipset mobo
12GB DDR3
2x 560ti SLI
8800 GS (so I can get all 4 monitors working and still have sli turned on)
Windows 8 Pro RTM x64

Hmmm, four monitors? OK, first turn off the three other monitors and reboot. Try plaing with JUST the BenQ monitor going. Also turn off any and all overclocking. Let's see if it works right withe the basic system.

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.
Yes, 4 monitors.
I've tried that already. Reset overclocking to default, disconnected all monitors but the benq. disabled sli. removed all but one 560 card. Still the same results. Everything runs perfectly until I enable 3d in a game, then it crashes.
