Question about this new DX11 fix: Do I need to delete all the stuff from Muzier's DX9 fix in the game folder? Included the D3D9.dll? I am asking because I wonder what this will do to my GEMFX mod if I delete the .dll that it is piggybacking on.

hi snick, the files in dx9 version are different but i always recommend you do a rome folder backup before, probaly if you are playing dx9 version, would be necesary to delete or rename the folder of roaming profile, ( .... ) AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Rome2, about all preferences script and after change to modelshader 5 in graphicals options if you rename it for example, the game create a new profile when you run it. you can see if you are in dx11 version because you see or not the shaderlmoder 5 in graphical options there is not warranty i continue testing yet, if you want wait and try another while i am going to update the shogun2 release now it is better and Attila ))

^^^ Thanks. I think I understand your directions, but I'm not sure when I'll get a chance to try it. I'll report back when I do though!

@ Kankgeforce99: I am using your fix now for Rome II. It is nice and totally playable. A few of the effects on the campaign map like smoke plumes, wave breakers on the water, and condition effects around units are messed up, but the rest looks great. (I'm sure you know all that, but I'm describing it for the benefit of anyone who wants to try your fix). Many thanks for fixing the game for DX11!
