I seen the thread and it was reported 2.1 broke a few things. I am going to try and track them down..I think it was some halos around objects the sun appeared to have weird artifacts or something..
Now I tried running 3D Migot oand Enabled Hunting with 1. now the weird thing is was it worked I just don't see the 3D Migoto Overlay??
I will try setting it too 2.. but any reason why the overlay will not show??

AndySonOfBob was using an old version of 3Dmigoto, 1.0.1. There is no overlay in that version, that's before refactoring. Might be because of conflicts with newer versions, but it would be worth trying the latest.

Great discussion from DarkStarSword on moving things to infinity that you will like.
I changed the name of your post to match the earlier fix, because we like to have them sort together in the GameList.
This seems like a small change from the other fix though, so generally we would add it to the bottom of the original fix and give you credit for the update. If it's a big change though, making a new page is OK.

I just tried the latest version of migoto and it did not launch the game.. the launcher works just don't launch the game.. it looks like it will start but just goes back to launcher like nothing happened..
So a bug I imagine with Migoto??
I will definitely read those threads you linked the 2nd link looked especially interesting ;)

Enable full debugging, and let me see the log file. It'd be better to have the latest version, because it also supports SBS/TB for people who need that.

OK, that's pretty weird. The screen resolution it's creating is 2048x768, with an undefined refresh rate. Could be just junk in the input parameters, but it's suspicious.
It looks like it crashes at the first present() call.
Try setting hunting=0 as a test, that will skip the overlay creation which might be crashing because of a bad resolution.
Another test would be to use the hooks, without it hooking DXGI:
hook=device skip_dxgi_factory
If hunting=0 works, then try hunting=2, which is disabled to start, but can be reenabled with Numpad 0. Some games do freaky stuff at launch, but are OK once running.

OK, good to know that the resolution makes sense. That's not it then.
What happens when hunting=0? I see you set it to 2, but that still creates the 3Dmigoto overlay and might conflict. Any other overlays might conflict too. If it's crashing with hunting=0, a debug log would be worth a look.
And why are we making this new thread, when this detail might be helpful in the future? It's better to keep all the debug and test stuff in a single thread, as people come to it later and want to find out what people tried.
Should I put this info in the shaderhacker thread or the original Elite Dangerous thread.. I thought it best to make a new thread??
Best to have game specific stuff in a game thread. Since this might be related to the original problems, extending that thread is best.
The reason it's better to not make a new thread is because people searching for stuff like 6 months from now will find multiple threads and have no idea which is better. If it's all in one thread, you have a chronological sequence.
People looking for immediate info will still see the old thread, and know to look at the end of it.

While I'm giving you a mild administrative hard time, your HelixModBlog post doesn't give any credit to AndySonOfBob. If you based your work on his, you really should give him credit.

So a bug I imagine with Migoto??
I will definitely read those threads you linked the 2nd link looked especially interesting ;)

Enable full debugging, and let me see the log file. It'd be better to have the latest version, because it also supports SBS/TB for people who need that.

It looks like it crashes at the first present() call.
Try setting hunting=0 as a test, that will skip the overlay creation which might be crashing because of a bad resolution.
Another test would be to use the hooks, without it hooking DXGI:
If hunting=0 works, then try hunting=2, which is disabled to start, but can be reenabled with Numpad 0. Some games do freaky stuff at launch, but are OK once running.

Just to let you know I run 2 Projectors and my combined resolution is 2048 x 768 @ 120Hz.. I tried your suggestions and it looked like it was almost about to start as bothe screens went blank like the game was going to start but went back to Desktop.. here is the new log..
