Benq projector & Toshiba a660 3d
I just got my toshiba 660A, one of the 3d versions today. I am trying to hook it up to my Benq Nvidia 3d vision ready projector (BenQ MS612ST) and it is detected as a Generic PNP monitor. I am able to set it to 120 HZ, however the Nvidia control panel states that "3d ready display not found." It is even detecting the LCD on the laptop as a generic PNP when its hooked up. The projector has its 3d sync set to Nvidia 3D vision. WFT is going on? I bought this laptop SPECIFICALLY to use it with this projector, and at this point I feel like I have a $600 and a $2000 paperweight. I have no use for either of these systems if they can't do 3d on the projector.

I have tried both the 15 pin standard connection, and the HDMI connection.

What driver for what? And where do I find this information?

The driver version for the graphics card is listed under device manager is 8.17.12.6051 if that helps.

Hi

I believe whats happened is that the BenQ projector isnt supported in your driver.

Can you please update the CD 1.55 kit we posted this past week?

Well, it seems to be recognized when I tell it to display only on the one monitor in the "Set resolution" settings in windows. However when I go to set it up, it is stuck in discover mode, and cannot be changed. I have tried duplicating the displays, only the projector, 15 pin Dsub, HDMI, same thing. It will work with both connected telling it to only display on the laptop monitor and nothing else... But thats kinda pointless, it needs to display on the projector certified by Nvidia for it to work on. What is the next step?

Please disable the laptop's built in 3D screen and only output to the 3D projector.
