I tried to create a ticket in rockstar support center, but the button for sending the ticket does not work. It seems like they deactivated the button over the weekend, to prevent a massive flood of support tickets. I tried it with firefox and chrome. There is also no link showing up on the bottom left, if you hover over the button with your mouse.

And right now, the game crashing is really the only unresolved, gamebreaking bug with this game. Sending help tickets to both R* and NVidia is just about the only course of action right now. You could also keep playing with your settings and see if you can find a stable combination. It will be different on each system.

Although not perfect and most definitely anecdotal evidence, i feel like i can get longer play sessions when i dont apply an overclock to my video cards. At some point this week, i plan to actually run Bo3b's recommended stability test to confirm that.

When it comes to Overclocking you have to keep in mined that the actual software is causing the troubles not the overclocking itself. If you use Nvidia Inspector you won`t get any troubles (i didn`t) but if you work with Afterburner then remember to switch it off after applying new settings (even from taskbar menu).

My experience with R* support. Put in ticket describing 3d problems in detail. They respond with a list of totally generic possible problems and fixes that bare no relation to 3D vision at all. I go through them for the sake of completeness, nothing works. I tell them none of those things are my problems. They respond (eventually) with more generic fixes to generic problems totally unrelated to 3D vision. I go though them again, a waste of time and I know it. I tell them it doesn't work. They tell me to reinstall the operating system. Thanks R*, top stuff.

R* support is apparently done by poorly programmed robots. I got nothing from them that I couldn't write a script to do in about 15 minutes. Copy/Paste/Send. Let's share our R* support code numbers, and add those to our bug reports so that they recognize this is not a one-off. I got the sense they could give a shit because it seemed like a one-off. This will also demonstrate that widely varying hardware and people are having the same problem- proving it's a real problem. You should also add my troubleshooting steps to your bug report. It's totally easy to reproduce the crashing bug. Set game settings to max, run the benchmark using commandline.txt. You'll crash within 5 runs. [code]-benchmarkPass 4 -scOfflineOnly -benchmark -benchmarkIterations 200 -frameLimit 0[/code] I also proved it happens using Discover mode, so you don't need any special hardware. Hello, for me with 350.12, i have no Crash and the game in 3d vision is OK. But during a car race, the "crossing point" splite and the "mission point" too Do you have a solution for this issue. Thank you

For me, disabling the shader cache is not enough.
I created a batch file that fixes the problem in my case:
del "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\cloud_*.dat"
start steam://rungameid/271590


And I agree, the crashing occurs quite quickly and is really a gamebreaker.
It might be related to VRAM. If I disable MSAA, it seems to run longer before it crashes. With MSAA, my 2x 970 reach 85% memory usage, which is everything but the dreaded slow last 512 MB.

Tested all settings. High, low details, shader cache off, afr 2, driver 350.12, vsync on/off, frame rate change and so on. 3D crashes randomly after 3-10 minutes. So far its unplayable for me. I played over 150 games @ 3D Vision but none of these games have been 3D crashed like GTA 5 does. What a mess Rockstar. I wish this hasn't 3D Vision support out of box and our great modders could do the 3D job.

How is Nvidia responsible for the PS3(?) version of the game?
