How to fix/disable shaders in games(DLL,guide and fixes).

Oh. I used dlp so I never thought of that tbh. Its kind of a 2d/3d plasma fix I guess. Perhaps I will make sure I include it as an option when I do release for any game that has a static hud its really not hard.
all I did was add these two lines
mov r2, c3
add r2.w, r2.w, c220.w
mad r1, v1, r1, r2 //instead of r2 was c3.
If this is a fix just for plasma users you dont really need a key to enable disable.

I was working on the ui in Hitman as it totally goes out of the screen when convergence gets pushed, but it broke the shader cache and I haven't looked for my dvd to do a reinstall. As for the witcher2 fix, I'll put together all the UI shaders I've managed to find ( these include text as well as hud) and I'll put them in an archive for you to check out, since I still keep getting stuff in boxes and I think a shader is missing.

@Anisotonic Nice work Dirt1 is totaly playable now. I think it looks old compared to 2, and 3 but I am having a blast driving from inside the car. Converge on the dashboard controls and it is fun!

here's a link to the transparent hud for Witcher 2. Thanks to eqzitara for all his help. I've included the working release dll from Helix, since the latest doesn't work and a readme file explaining which files to modify for the separate elements. The fix affects not only hud, but also subtitles, menus, loading screens, loading screenshots, journal and inventory. I don't know whether it is possible to limit the effects to hud only by using specific texture crcs, so if anyone has ideas and wants to modify there is definitely more to be desired. Test and report :)

I installed Darksiders and put the fix in before 1st boot up. Looked like crap, so took fix out and looked really good. Then booted up Amalur later and my Helix fix is not working anymore.
What could have disabled it?

Tried wiping display drivers and installing 295.73 (for 560 ti, w/SLI). Still acting like fix is not in folder.

Every bit counts :), I was actually thinking of doing this as text is kind of hard to read now, transparency and all, I'll be sure to check out your fix and integrate it with the other one.
Used inspector and deleted profile for K o'Amalur. No difference. Still not applying Helix mod.
I even extracted the Helix files into the folder again just to be sure.

Update: I replaced release with debug for a test. I got the red text, so debug was at least initialized. I don't know if that helps narrow things down at all.
None of the fixes were implemented when debug was running or when I put release back in as the .dll

its possible just not with that release. Its alot of work as well.
It works like its supposed to but only plasma would benefit from this imo.
