How to fix/disable shaders in games(DLL,guide and fixes).

Whoops should of told you to save it first before deleting. Redownload your driver and just reinstall it.
I cant say whats wrong since I do not have newest dlc tbh and I have not heard any other issues. Id recommend uninstalling game and reinstalling without dlc and see if that resolves issue.

I notice the shadows are not working with the fix. Am I doing anything wrong? I am still using the older driver. Turning off shadows and all is well btw.

@andysonofbob
Shadows should work if you are using a 3d vision before nvidia made a profile. Make sure you have 295.73 or older. Then turn shadows on max(not sure if it works on lower settings). Or it just may be you are playing on 4:3 resolution.
No fists.

Well, you can use fists, but probably won't want to. Still, I have unequipped a weapon now and then just for fun and socked some people.
I turned shadows off and it did make playing much more bearable once again. There is still the screen tear on the right which is reduced by cranking down the depth almost to nil. But at that point the game has pretty much ceased to be very 3d enhanced except for the HUD and life/mana/fate bar.
I don't think the DLC has anything to with it, since I was playing Teeth of Naros just fine with the fix. I did this just before I installed Darksiders. It seemed to be after the Darksiders install that things screwed up. I will try to move the DLC folder just for fun, though.
As far as reasons it doesn't work, what are the known reasons it doesn't be work?
NVIDIA Driver of 295.73 or less: running 295.73
Files not in the correct folder: they are in the executable folder and I haven't moved them
Is NVIDIA having a profile a known issue?
I will try loading a new driver and see what happens.
I will also check to see if I can rollback my computer.

I am really sorry to hear that mate. :( I also don't know why it didn't work at first either.
My game is working perfectly now. Shadows, effects etc. Looks pretty brilliant in 3D too. The HUD is 2D, but with the added depth it is still defo an improvement. Adding to the toyification list too. A great Helix fix IMO!

@andy
I think I have seen you on Amalur site or maybe 38watch. I'm Antonius there, I think.
Actually, the fix was working for me beautifully as well before this happened. It is a great fix. I'm excited for you to get to enjoy it!
@eqzitara
I turned shadows back on and they work with the fix now as before. Turned off and on a few times and the shadows are working fine. That is good, as they were the most annoying problem from before.
The right side of the screen is still very weird If I have it at any depth at all. Before this happened, I had a bar on the sides of the screen, but now it is tearing, maybe I'm seeing things from the other side of the screen overlapping? Anyway, reducing depth reduces this, but also reduces the glory of the 3d.
What part of Helix's fix addressed this? Is there a game setting that affects this that I could turn off and back on like the shadows? Seemed like the shadows just needed reset or something. Maybe it was a leftover from the NVIDIA Amalur profile?

You are first person to have these issues and MANY people played amalur with helix's fix. I have no idea to be honest. I play max depth and pretty high convergence. Almost everyone whose had an issue it had to do with drivers/3d vision profile.
witcher 2 hud is up on blog if any are interested. Included artox's 2d transparent hud as well.

@Artox Thanx for the plasma fix...I just installed it but don't have time to try it now.

Well I'm reinstalling the game and I reloaded the 295.73 drivers. I'll see how it goes from there.
I'll figure it out eventually, I'm sure. I was just trying to save myself some time if there was a predictable answer.
Update:
After playing around with different settings, it seems the screen tear happens when using SLI.
I did notice after installing Darksiders that my SLI was turned off, so I turned it on.
Maybe it has been off when I have been playing Amalur. Any idea why how to fix SLI issues such as this? Anybody else running SLI and Amalur? (It doesn't need the 2nd card really, so it's not huge, but hope it doesn't effect other games while in 3d.

Thoroughly enjoying the fix and the game is also pretty brilliant.
I started off using the 3D HUD but I didn't like it with the cut scenes because the pushed out dialogue box cut into the cut scene.
I noticed quite a few shaders used for the 3D HUD. Is there a way to push the minimap and health bar back but leave the dialogue box 2D?

Actually started playing with Witcher 2 depth HUD. It looks like a bust IMO. I may take it down unless anyone truly likes it(be honest). I made it and I dont even like it. It cuts into cinematics then looks bad with text as 2D.

Guys, a question about Dead Space 1 and 2, I unistalled the first one a while ago, when I switched from AMD to Nvidia. Didn't want to lose the shadows and performance with iz3d in this game is crap if you have a Nvidia gpu. Anyway, my question is - is the "UI" - map, inventory actual actual holographic 3d, or does it appear as a 2d icon floating. For example with earlier iz3d versions in the inventory objects were 3d and later versions made the whole inventory a 2d sheet floating in air and not an actual 3d hologram in the game.
So how is it with 3dvidion?

I notice the shadows are not working with the fix. Am I doing anything wrong? I am still using the older driver. Turning off shadows and all is well btw.
Also, can you play unarmed? Bruce Lee style?
Thanks
EDIT
ignore this, it seems to work now! Bizaar.

Shadows should work if you are using a 3d vision before nvidia made a profile. Make sure you have 295.73 or older. Then turn shadows on max(not sure if it works on lower settings). Or it just may be you are playing on 4:3 resolution.

Thanks!
