i am trying to use DLP link . I have Xpand X102 glasses. As per other info i got from forums it should work with Acer H5360.
When i select invert on Projector i can see/feel glasses respond by flicking.
Also i am just trying to watch 2D dvd in 3D. Haven't tried with 3D bluray.
Does graphics card does the conversion or power DVD will do it? If power DVD does the conversion then this graphics card should be fine?

make sure dlp-link is selected in the projector menu. in the nvidia control panel set the resolution to 1280 x 720, refresh rate: 120Hz. make sure you install the latest powerdvd 11 patches. powerdvd will do all the converting so you should be fine

Do you have an nVidia 3D Vision emitter plugged into one of your PC's USB ports? Even if you're using DLP-link glasses with your projector, you still need a 3D Vision emitter or 3D Vision wired glasses plugged into your PC to enable the 3D Vision software.

@hatharry : Thanks for information. I tried but it still doesn't work. i am able to set resolution to 1280x720 and refresh rate as 120 Hz. some sprakle/dots are visible when i choose refresh rate as 120 Hz. i am selecting checkeredboard option in power DVD . For nvidia ready it says content or source doesn't support.
@Pyrocles : I don't have nvidia emitter or glasses with me. Are you sure that it is needed even in case of DLP Link glasses like Xpand X102? their site itself they have written that it won't require emitter but DLP chip in Acer H5360 shall do this emitting stuff?

I am stuck at this place not able to understand how to resolve it. Please help.

I initially tried using a pair of nVidia 3D Vision wired glasses with my Acer H5360, but they distorted the picture, making the image all red and posterized. So I bought a pair of True-Depth DLP-link glasses to use instead. However, I have to plug in my nVidia wired glasses in order for the 3D Vision software to function. Without the nVidia glasses plugged in, I can't enable any form of 3D other than Discover mode in the nVidia control panel.

If the 3D Vision software was working, you'd be able to select 3D Vision in PowerDVD. The H5360 doesn't support checkerboard mode.

Oh, and when the projector is operating in DLP-Link mode, the projector does in fact sync the glasses. The Xpand glasses don't require the nVidia emitter; but the 3D Vision software DOES.
