Im planning to buy a 3D TV and then I found this:
http://www.devanttv.com/products/smart3d/atv630
it says it is a 3D TV but with 60Hz refresh rate, uses passive technology and i am planning to use it for 3D gaming with Nvidia 3dvision 3DTV play. But im confused because some say that the minimum refresh rate for 3D is 120hz.
What does nvdia require for a TV to play games in 3d with NVIDIA VISION?
does it require active 3d? or passive is ok?
does it require 120hz? or 60hz is ok?
I have a small knowledge about 3D.
Please help me, and sorry for my bad english

3DTV Play uses the TV's 3D encoder... so it will not be an issue other than the low-quality 3D (60hz) offered by the TV manufacturer.
On another note: To be honest; that TV you linked looks like the old 1st gen. passive LG 3dTVs. Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't simply renamed
3DTV Play does not officially support Passive Interlaced 3D HDTVs in their native format.
Unofficially there are workarounds to get interleaved output to the display.
3DTV Play requires that you use the manufacturers glasses or 3rd party glasses that are compatible with your display.
3DTV Play costs $40 and has a free trial.
3DTV Play is free if your have a Nvidia Emitter, it will act as a product key as long as it is connected, but will not be functional(stays turned off)
Mr. Infinite, thanks for the answer but im wondering about the 'low quality 3D (60hz)' you metioned. Is it enough to fool my brain?
I own a Samsung 55HU9000 and it is far from low quality 3D Even my older Samsung 46c7000 is great too.
I use 3D vision 3DTV play

Dwarfina - you do not need to use 3DTV Play with passive HDTV. In fact, with Optimized for NVIDIA GeForce 3D (rather than 3DTV Play), you can obtain 60 fps performance with 1080p. See http://afriendlyfox.com/2013/02/04/massively-improved-nvidia-3d-vision-on-passive-3dtvs-edid-override/. Note that a similar EDID override exists for passive 4K TVs. I suggest using 3DVision Eye Swapper, instead of the Registry mods described in the link. See https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/818183/3d-vision/gtx-970-4k-3d-vision-gaming-success-with-lgub850v-passive-tv-/post/4512381/#4512381 for link to Eye Swapper application.
