Finaly one developer that seems to get it right, so lets just hope it will be flawless from day one and with OR implementation they seems to be on the right way :)

" Zombie Studios is also supporting the Oculus Rift and 3D TVs (complete with 3D-specific scares) for truly masochistic players. Daylight is due out early next year."
But I guess 3D Tv's mean fake ala Crysis 3d ?
Well aleast they seems to care about 3d, 3d specific scares mmm sounds damn good to me :D

Yeah since it's mainly a ps4 game, 3dtv support is the logical way to say it, I hope it's real 3d though. After using Oculus Rift for a while I think it will be my platform of choice for first person games if VR support is natively supported, so it's great their are adding support for it.

All hail 3d modders DHR, MasterOtaku, Losti, Necropants, Helifax, bo3b, mike_ar69, Flugan, DarkStarSword, 4everAwake, 3d4dd and so many more helping to keep the 3d dream alive, find their 3d fixes at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ Also check my site for spanish VR and mobile gaming news: www.gamermovil.com
Yupp that what I was afraid of but lets hope atleast for proper 3d.
Cant wait for the Oculus Rift myself and if it will be even half as good as what im dreaming of it will definetly be my choise for first person games also mate, no doubt about it :)

3D TV's is a pretty iffy term.
That might mean just side by side/top + bottom.
Framepacking[standard 3d for us] is "locked out". Need nvidia, which is a headache. Like I know of a few games with side by side but not framepacking support. Off the top of my head I can think of Deus Ex it took a few patches, that game dark.
Now the thing that could suck is if they just mean 3D TV's for PS4.

My mistake eqzitara. This is the game i was talking about in case of Unreal Engine 4. One of the main features is full Stereo 3D support (native). Hell yea.

I was just reading about this game on PC-Gamer. They only mentioned it as being one of the first UE4 games and that it has native RIFT support.

Procedurally generated game which plays different every time you play it. It sounds like it might be interesting.
Well all sites are reporting "both versions" support RealD 3D *shrug*
Supposedly this is what developers directly said...
The PlayStation 4 and PC version of Daylight will be fully 3D compatible out of the box! 3D-enabled TVs and monitors will bring the scares, jumps and all other things that haunt the Mid Island area to life in a very tangible way. RealD is the same technology they use in movie theaters for 3D movies and excels at giving the game terrific depth-of-field. Catching an overhead light flicker down an incredibly long corridor is one of the more chilling 3D applications…until you come across a spirit, that is. If you have the means, we highly recommend giving this mode a try. Oh, and here’s a casual reminder that Daylight is also compatible with the Oculus VR, for those brave enough…
I guess we will have to see at release but Ive learned to be weary.
TBH, not too excited about it one way or another. Its going to be "peekaboo" horror imo. "Procedural generated" + twitch support kind of spells it out to me which is just meh. Outlast was good though it did some peekaboo but it was timed and drawn out to build tension + it had a good overarching story/"events" but thats me. Not to mention Zombie Studios has a pretty bad track record....http://www.metacritic.com/company/zombie-studios
It will probably be cool on Rift regardless. Its got nice slow pacing[normal human movement] / first person.

I'm not sure past products are that important. I initially thought Zombie Studios was a new studio creation for Daylight, formed by ex-Monolith guys. It just turned out that's where a bunch of them went after Monolith disbanded. So I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. Supposedly there's some real Monolith talent that ended up there.
