[quote="knowledgeDK"]When i use the 3D fix i get some weird screen tearing that i don't seem to get when using compatibility mode. Also are ANYONE able to run 60 fps stable with the fix ? Well if you followed the fix, you turned [s]VSYNC[/s] iPresetInterval off, so that would explain the tearing.
Go to NVIDIA control panel and enable adaptive vsync for FO4.

So I think I followed everything as mentioned. I'm having my usual 3d problem. Shadows! Shadows are broken and are in different spots for each eye. Did I do something wrong, or known issue? Can I totally turn off shadows somehow or fix it? (Would love to turn off shadows).. Otherwise weapon out looks great, character models and items everything looks great but the busted shadows... And thanks for everyone's work on this!

Care to share your SLI secrets helifax?
I'm definitely getting a de-sync issue with SLI enabled. I tried different vsync settings and AFR2 but didn't seem to help. Disabling SLI fixes it for sure. The problem does not show up in a screenshot unfortunately, only in motion. With glasses off you can clearly see the two images for a single object moving a different times when looking left/right quickly. But other than that (again fixed by disabling SLI) and the HUD, have not encountered any issues! Working amazingly so far.

Ok so after researching more I see the mike_ar69 instructions I followed were not complete, because they didn't have the fix included. Just the 3Dmigoto part. So I downloaded the Fallout402_85.jps file, renamed it and will apply it hopefully that will fix it..
It was confusing to me why link a filename that seems like a photo and has to be renamed to extract it. Why not just host it as a .zip or .rar file type? I'm sure this is the same step Maximus (and probably many others who didn't post) are having.
Perhaps in the original list mike made he had (after step 3) the actual fix listed and that did not make it into the requotes? There is a lot of into to parse here and without a complete and complete list stickied it's natural some people will miss something.
I wondered why there wasn't a shaderfix folder in the part I did before but was just following the instructions I found.
Added: Ok its working great now after fixing the Fallout402_85.jps file so that I could extract it.

what is funny is that if I have surround on I don't get the desync once my resolution is set to a surround resolution, but if I set it to a single monitor resolution in my case 1080p or lower with surround still enabled I get the same issue.

Actually i had followed every step as i should but thanks to all who replied, it was just the jagged edges that was much more noticeable than in normal 2d or 3d comp i've figured out.. + 60 hz has some minor blur to it imo when you are used to 144 hz, i guess thats it..
Now i need to figure how to set it up to get close to 60 fps everywhere .. I need POWER

Yes thank you, I was not trolling. Sorry to have missed something so obvious. If you look at the directions I followed in post #243 and #244 there is a link for the 3Dmigoto but not for the fallout4alpha.jpg file. So after post #246 I realized the 3DMigoto alone was not enough. It is working for me now as intended I think.
My targeting dot is spread over both eyes so I'm a little inaccurate but perhaps I just need to adjust convergence or there is something else I missed.
I see in the original directions posted #180 the fix file was included with the 3DMigoto link. In the requotes the "fix" didn't get included.

The original alpha post says "3. Extract the attached zip file in the Fallout4.exe directory" (i.e. attached to the post). I'm sure the full package will be together once it's in its 'final' version. The HUD is a known issue (also in the original post), give it time.

Yes its all clear now, the problem happened because I was following the instructions of a requote missing the file included in the original post. I recall being stumped at item 3 and wondering about the file mentioned then assumed it was in the link mentioned later..
Now that it is cleared up, I'm absolutely thrilled to have it working as it is and so quickly. Everything looks fantastic and I'm so happy for not only the work in the fix but to the community for trying to help with any issues. I hope the hud will be fixed at some point, but in the meantime its a privilege to play this game in 3d. Fallout 4 working and playable in 3D at 1440p.. :)

VSYNCiPresetInterval off, so that would explain the tearing.Go to NVIDIA control panel and enable adaptive vsync for FO4.

WRONG!!! You didn't apply any fix.
READ AGAIN THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!!
(Carefully this time !)
Hint: You need to download a jpg file from that post and remove the .jpg extension (so It remains etc.rar) Then extract the content OVER the 3DMigoto wrapper. /sigh.... (I swear, some people should NOT use computers...)
(Or instead of making useless posts like these, familiarize yourself with how the wrapper works and how we deliver an ALPHA FIX. Not targeting you in particular, but look up! Last posts are from people who "can't read !"
So, don't be a Jar Jar Binks;) Use the "Force" Luke ! )
Note to self: Man, I start to sound very angry lately LOL! =)) and this is NOT the intention! Guess, I'll need to work a bit on delivering the information in a much "sweeter" tone rather than "On Point" ^_^.

I can't tell if you're trolling or not, but I'll try to lay it out easy for you here.
You need to download this release of 3DMigoto and extract it in your Fallout 4 Directory: https://github.com/bo3b/3Dmigoto/releases/download/1.2.9/3Dmigoto-1.2.9.zip
You then need to download the Fallout4Alpha0.1.rar.jpg file attached in this post, rename it as a .rar and extract it in your Fallout 4 Directory, overriding existing files. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/839133/3d-vision/fallout-4/post/4729011/#4729011
I'm sure there's a good reason why the file is a jpg and the extension needs to be changed, I don't think the forums allow you to upload archives.
what is funny is that if I have surround on I don't get the desync once my resolution is set to a surround resolution, but if I set it to a single monitor resolution in my case 1080p or lower with surround still enabled I get the same issue.
