Any plans for 3D Stereo drivers for Windows 7? I tried the older drivers and they don't work with either the beta Windows 7 video drivers or with the older Vista drivers, seems the registry entries are in a different place, not sure if the functionality is still there but it just won't work.

A whole week and not one reply, great customer service there guys. So..the RC is released in 4 days, so are we gonna see any evidence of Windows 7 3D drivers or do we have to wait till October (supposed release date) ?

I have been using geforce vision in windows 7 for over 2 months now and it works perfectly. The 1.07 cd that you can download from nvidia contain windows 7 video drivers which work fine with the stereo drivers.

Well it doesn't work with the latest drivers, I installed all the drivers from the 1.07 cd and it all worked fine, updated to the latest video drivers and no 3D (anaglyphic) anymore.

It would definitely be nice to get some feedback from nvidia on this. Sucks that 3D Vision is the only thing holding me back from loading up the Win7 RC.

Q : Blazen22: Is there any support for Windows7, or will this product be supported for Windows7? A : Windows 7 will definitely be supported with this product. We are already testing beta drivers now and will be relesaed Windows 7 drivers this summer.
Sucks that the betas aren't out since Windows 7 has been released to MSN and Technet subscribers. I am hoping they at least release those beta drivers May 5th when Windows 7 go public... but I have feeling they won't /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />

How are you "held back" from anything? Doesn't Windows 7 allow dual booting?
In any case, I don't think it's unreasonable for there not to be drivers for unreleased OSs.

If you can't activate stereoscopic vision in the control panel (like me), here is the solution.
Works for me in Windows 7. (just type "regedit" in "Search programs and files" from the Start menu)

You could dual-boot anything, an operating system doesn't have to "allow" it. The fact that if I wanted to run Win 7 I would have to dual boot back into Vista to play games due to a lack of Geforce 3D Vision drivers is, in fact, "holding me back" from loading Windows 7. If you can't grasp that then I'm sorry I can't explain it any other way.
I agree with you that it's not unreasonable that nVidia hasn't released GeForce 3D Vision drivers for Windows 7 yet. But it would be nice to have some kind of clue as to when we could expect them. It would also be nice to know when nVidia expects to fix the numerous bugs that haven't been addressed in any of the six updates for 3D Vision.

I have 2 computers running windows 7 x64. One with a GTX280 and one with a 8800GT. On both machines whichever driver I use I get a BSOD or freeze within seconds of going into stereo mode. With some drivers it even happens when stereo is only activated in the control panel, but I'm not even running any 3d app. On one of the computers I installed vista x64 in dual boot, and there it works perfectly. So I don't understand why I have a problem with windows 7 on 2 quite different pc's while other people have no problems. It doesn't seem to be caused by 32/64 bit, nor the win7 build. I even tried running with less ram (it's all overnight memtest stable, but still....) because the BSOD errors all seem to be about the driver pointing to memory that isn't owned by it. Nothing seems to help so far. I can only get it running in vista x64, for which I sadly don't have a license, so it's running in trial mode, I certainly don't want to buy it right now because I rather wait for windows 7. I hope my problems in windows 7 will be fixed by then though, because most people don't seem to get them :(

Are you using multiple monitors? I used to freeze upon entering stereo mode when I was using multiple monitors. Switching to a single monitor fixed that. I am currently able to use multiple monitors again without crashing but I'm not sure what I did to make that work.
