You dont need to drive if you go single player/QuickRace and start the
race you see the rearview mirror in the upper part of the screen when you sit in the cockpit.
I tryed to change the mirror effects but it doesent help. I will upload a screenshot
but i first need to read how to do that:)

I have tryed a lot this evening....no way for the rearview mirror.
It is a HUD/UI problem. I can move the out of depth, but there is another texture involved into it and I cant find a hash for it. This will beake the view....The hunting will spread out many many textures.....I cant try every one of it...
I have a new WIP for you. You have to go with a verry low separation ... but the depth feeling is boring. Or you go with a very high and use the 3rd person view and skip the rearview mirror.
I have a new WIP for you. Please set your viewing and than cycle the different depth profiles with TAB or XB_GUIDE. There is a (for me) matching one for each viewing of the sceene. I recomment using 3rd person and choose the depth that will kick out the mirror off screen.

Just tried this out for myself.
Am waiting for their VR implementation next month but this is brilliant.
I am mostly hotlapping and I have to say I am not finding much issue with this fix at all and I have everything ramped up to max (motion blur off and FXXA on). I am running SBS / 3dTVPlay@1920x1080. Game feels much better in 3D. Thanks for the fix. Great job.

I modified the file 3dx.ini by removing them; of these two lines

filter_refresh_rate = 24,59,60

BUT: If you do not use SideBySide or some what, the normal 3D mode via Nvidia Stereo glasses needs 120 fps ^^ You can use migoto to set SBS .... but i have never used it and dont know how to do...but there are options for that in the ini.... may you ask in a specific forum thread if this is the issue.

When trying 3DTV Play on a projector I had exactly the same issue. The games always started in 1280x720 @ 120hz instead of 1280x720 @ 60 hz. Only solution I found was deleting the 1280x720 @ 120hz resolution from the EDID via [url=https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU]CRU[/url]. The projector is forced to use 60hz then as the 120 hz resolution is not available any more. I wonder if Nvidia will ever fix this bug. Or it's a feature ;D.
