Problem: Stereo-OpenGL-Applications do not run with quadro professional stereo by using Shutterglase
Hello Everyone
we want to use Optoma 3D-RF Glasses/IR-Transmitter with our NVidia Quadro 5000 (Driver-Version 340.66).
The transmitter is attached to the Card. We tried different Software with OpenGL quad-buffered Stereo-Capabilities (e.g. Paradigm GOCAD, NVidia Medusa-Demo) but the transmitter/glasses never react (always flashing red lights -> no stere signal).
But if we try the test nvidia application, which can be accessed via
NVidia Control Panel->Set Up stereoscopic 3D-> Test stereoscopic 3D ...
the transmitter get the signal (green lights) and the shutterglasses react and shutter.
We are using the display-type "quadro professional stereo" in "Set Up stereoscopic 3D"-Dialogue
and Stereo-Display mode 3D DLP display (which is recommended for the glasses/transmitter) in "Manage 3D Settings".
Is the an known solution for our problem?
Thanks

Optoma glasses and the Optoma emitter are designed to work via the sync port on Optoma projectors only.
The sync output on a Quadro GPU is designed to work with either Nvidia's consumer or pro 3D Vision glasses and emitter. Consumer=IR PRO=RF signals. Pros are for use when you have workstations within close proximities of each other.
