3dtv and Samsung UE55C8700
Hi,

I have a GTX480 connected to a Samsung UE55C8700, drivers installed=260.99. I am able to success in the stereoscopic 3d test from the Nvidia control panel. Also, I am able to see blu ray videos in 3d with Powerdvd player, however when I run whatever Nvidia demo I am unable to see in 3D. Is not the 3dtv working properly or I have to do same configuration to make it runs?

Thanks.

Ger.

They haven't actually released commercial software yet, I know I got suckered too. I was this close to buying an ATI card the other day, and thought Id google to see if Nvidia was working on 3D drivers, it linked to a page where it said all you need is a 3d tv, 3d glasses, your computer with HDMI hookup and the latest drivers, and then I also proceeded to waste a night trying to get the 'drivers' to work properly before my searching led me back to the one line on the original screen that states its a commercial product thats NOT EVEN BEEN RELEASED yet. Well, the latest word says it's due to release in November......Lets hope they aren't just yanking our chain.

I made the mistake of getting a 3dtv, gtx 470 and teh vision glasses lol, after that did'nt work i waited for 3dtvplay for awhile but it never came, then i was drawn to tridef and purchased that and have been a happy 3dtv gamer ever since.
Am really looking forward to trying the play software, aslong as it gives better 3d effect than tridef in some games i'll buy it straight away, allways good to have a fews3d softwares for when one does'nt work correctly more likely than not the other will work.

Only a few more days togo then i'm sure we will all be trying t he new software out, i'll have to lol if its not released this month!
