do you have any proof that they will support nice program and driver in this spring?

did you ask them about it? where did it say so?

It's about new FullHD TVs. I doubt that 8-series card will be capable to give resonable FPS in 1920x1080xStereo for modern games.

You do not need a new video card, but you might be interested to get one just to get better performance.

When using the ATI+ iZ3D driver + Samsung LED/LCD 3DTV combination, you cannot use the nvidia glasses : you must use the Samsung glasses associated with this TV.
Games compatibility is different between the nvidia and iZ3D drivers : some games look better with iZ3D, others look better with nvidia.

For movies then you won't need the iZ3D driver, but you'll need a video player capable of outputting any stereo video side by side.
The only one I know of at the moment is Peter Wimmer's Stereoscopic player, from http://www.3dtv.at
You'll reckognize this software quickly : the nvidia stereo video player is a licensed version of this very player limited to nvidia 3D vision.

At the moment no BluRay 3D player is available for this system, you'll have to wait a bit for BluRay3D players to get a way to output hdmi1.4 spec signals through currently available hdmi1.3 and DVI ports. It is technically possible but requires the GPU manufacturer to release a firmware update. : nvidia requires you to pay 40$ for hdmi1.4 support (3DTV play), and ATI has announced it's working on it through the Open Stereo initiative, but has not revealed any release date or pricing.
