sometimes when this happens and you are using a community fix, you can alt+tab out and when you re-enter the game, it self corrects. I'm not sure on this, I do not have Dying Light

Just picked this up on the sale. One thing I'll report is that the one-eyed rendering of some effects while in SLI is no longer happening (which I was also having in the fix for Lichdom before, and I've confirmed that's also resolved now too). Not sure if it's due to now being on Windows 10, or due to a change in the drivers since, but either way I'm pretty happy in that regards. The real reason I'm resurrecting this thread, though, is because there's a huge expansion coming out that sounds pretty darn awesome, and I recall seeing DHR mention somewhere else that he may have figured out a different way to resolve the shadows being off during cutscenes/running due to dynamic convergence, and may return to fixing this. Any chance this might get revisited?

Those weird shadows during running made me switch to CM which I wasn`t happy about at all because fix is so good besides that. If DHR found another way to deal with that then I hope he`ll give it a try especially after Expansion - since (as you`ve mentioned) it will be a big one, with a lot of new end game content. That new Story line seems to be great as well. Soo looking forward to it.

I'm starting to look the game again to correct the FOV issues during some cut scenes, running, etc... Also bo3b help me with some crashes with new version of the wrapper....but i will wait to the expansion "The following" release (i don't have to much time lately)....because i don't know if the engine will suffer some changes or be the same... so i definitely will look the expansion and revisited the original game.

Awesome, I was hoping both that the shadows would be improved, and that the new expansion would be fixed too.

It is a fantastic game. I am very much looking forward to the new expansion. And if it would be possible to actually fix the shadow-running-issue, I would be even more happy. Fingers crossed.

New expansion? I didn't know there was one schedueled. Great news! With or without shadows, the game is great.

@joker18, Hi, can you play Dying Light on your projector and if so how? The game uses always the highest refresh rate possible which makes it impossible to play using 3DTV Play with a 120hz projector without using an EDID override. I'm hoping that they will correct this in the expansion.

Hi! I didn't try it on the projector but I will test later tonight. If you say it is like this, probably I will face the same problem

I complained to Techland but they said that they wouldn't do anything about it till they finished optimizing the game. It is the only game that I have ever seen do this.

It is scheduled to Q1 2016 so it might be between January and March but they said that it is too big and they will delay if necessary.

Again, I updated to Windows 10 as well, which could be the deciding factor. [quote="tonka"]@joker18, Hi, can you play Dying Light on your projector and if so how? I'm using an EDID override from a Acer 5360, so my PC thinks it's an actual 3D Vision certified device, and runs at 120hz and enables the frame sequential 3D display mode on my projector, rather than using frame packing/sbs. If you're not familiar at all with this type of setup, I highly encourage you to look into it.
