3D does kick in with this game, but the players are on the wrong plane (maybe still screen depth?) and the shadows are messed up. I know there were fixes for this series back in the day, but I assume that shaderhacker has since retired. Don't know if anyone was interested in taking a look, but I would definitely donate to a possible fix!
Plays a great game of basketball, I pretty much just play co-op with friends against the impressive AI in private Team-up. I can tell it would look amazing in 3D with the "on the court" cameras.

I'm not a fan of sports (except for sci-fi racers like Star Wars or F-Zero), but I tried to fix NBA 2K18 some time ago. The problem was that after making 3Dmigoto work I couldn't hunt shaders and 3Dmigoto hotkeys didn't work (not even a simple convergence one). Dumping all shaders worked, but I thought it was too difficult to search among >4000 shaders to see what could be or couldn't be a broken effect.
With certain profile changes (I don't remember which ones) the graphics were very decent in 3D except for some shadows and reflections.
I don't know if NBA 2K19 has the same problem, but I'm not interested in the game anyway. Sorry.

thats defintely a weird one. I installed the newest version of 3Dmigoto to NBA 2k19 and was able to hunt shaders one by one, in an actual game there was only 64 VS and 203 PS. so at least the hotkeys work with 2k19, but understandable the lack of interest if sports is not your thing. I should probably look into using fake 3D like 3dsuperdepth, but its so hard after playing madden19 in true 3D. sports games look surprisingly amazing in S3D..
