Rejoice Eqzitara, according to 4players.de and many other sources the Injustice Ultimate Edition including the whole DLC stuff will be released November 29th for PC as well as PS4, PS3, PS Vita and XBox 360.
Don't know if this is already widely-known but I can't remember that this has been posted here so I just wanted to give you a heads-up......

Had a feeling it was going to be based around new consoles [though no xbox one is odd, might be just cause they have a fighter / sony payment]. I didn't think it would be so soon though.
Hopefully the story mode has more in-game then MK. Those fmvs were annoying. Injustice has a surprisingly good story mode [way better then MK which was good].
Anyway, I'd strong recommend against pre-ordering cause you never know. The last title either accidentally/purpose prevented wrappers from working. Ironically helix's wrapper was the only one that works with it [after much trial and error]. Tridef/enb/sweetfx/whatever does not work with MK9.

Mortal Kombat was ported over with original netcode provided in the original version(s) for console. The console netcode for mortal kombat is notoriously bad. Actually seems to be worse on pc since there are connecting issues.
Injustice has good netcode, so provided it doesnt have issues with being ported to PC it should work well. Injustice has a very active online community on consoles still while MK9 was always regarded as a joke for online play.
Injustice has probably the most active online for consoles atm.

Yeah, MK PC netcode is terrible, it makes SFXT look silk smooth. I really hope Injustice is better, I'll probably play Vita version a lot more, but Injustice in 3d is too tempting if online play is good.

All hail 3d modders DHR, MasterOtaku, Losti, Necropants, Helifax, bo3b, mike_ar69, Flugan, DarkStarSword, 4everAwake, 3d4dd and so many more helping to keep the 3d dream alive, find their 3d fixes at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ Also check my site for spanish VR and mobile gaming news: www.gamermovil.com
Hey eqzitara, I've had to use the fix in the comments section of the blog as the normal one causes the C++ runtime crash someone else reported. I'm not sure exactly what it's fixing, but many of the 3d cutscenes don't render at all - by which I mean the special moves and intro movies (not the pre-rendered ones, the brief ones as combat begins). I'd love to be using the fix purely for auto-convergence, but this is making it a bit unplayable. Any ideas?

The one posted in comments doesnt have the auto convergence feature.
keep everything from that file you downloaded.
open your dx9settings.ini delete everything after DefModuleName=Injustice.exe
open the dx9settings for the one you downloaded.
cut and paste everything after [general] into the one you have installed.
If you mean intro like joker vs batman. Joker grabs policeman. batman swoops in that should be 3d. Only thing I could suggest to that is reinstall your nvidia driver. Unless they got a complaint or something and updated it... which could happen since those were the situations where convergence goes too high. In which case it *might* be out of my hands.
Backup your injustice.exe
open it with notepad++
search for nvapi.dll
replace with
nvdpi.dll
other solution that might work is using the nvapi.dll that mikear69 included with his lego games.
This is purely hypothetical, since I don't know if it is the issue[it probably is though]. Kind of hilarious that they would force it 2D instead of locking convergence but thats another story. I really lost interest in game when I found out story mode was 2d.

That worked perfectly, thanks! I wonder if there's a way I could get the helix launcher to start before running the game. A launch parameter on Steam, perhaps.
Milamber, it's working fine in 3d (after helixmod to fix convergence, I didn't notice shader issues). It's just that the story cutscenes are pre-rendered 2d.
I also can't stress enough how much this game benefits from sweetfx. It looks so washed out by default.

Which did you use so I can write it down. [I assume exe edit]
Not going to lie thats hilariously stupid that they locked depth[at 1%] rather then lock the convergence. This picture sums up my feelings on that -> [url]http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/eqzitara/image/528d6469cb8577583f000021/[/url]
Oh well... at least all developers for WB Games try at 3D.
I took the patch from the comments section, deleted everything below DefModuleName=Injustice.exe from dx9settings.ini, and copied in everything after [general] from the autoconvergence dx9settings.ini. I'm still using the helixmodlauncher.
I also modified injustice.exe as suggested, but I just reverted back to the original and it's still working, so it was the ini change that fixed it.

I completely agree. You wouldn't believe how much this galls me. I honestly think most of us here have a far greater understand of what makes 3D good than the vast majority of game devs / professional reviewers / nvidia employees. (Probably less so now, but I have read enough articles about film 3D 'discoveries' e.g. avoiding screen edges which we have understood for ages, so I guess we can include movie producers too!)
That's why I was so excited on The Vanishing. They blatently get 3D. I wonder how they discovered it?
