Hi HMR07. If you're using Windows 7 or 8: - Open NVIDIA Control Panel - Where it says "Select when the display is in 3D mode:", select "Always" or "Only while 3D programs run". Also, I posted this info in another thread. But I'll paste it here: If you want to stream 3D Youtube videos instead of download them: 1) Download and extract OpenYT3D: https://github.com/brookep1/OpenYT3D/archive/v0.1.zip 2) Download rg3's Youtube Downloader (youtube-dl.exe) and place it in the "../OpenYT3d-0.1/ " directory: https://yt-dl.org/latest/youtube-dl.exe 3) Download and install K-Lite Codec Pack: https://www.codecguide.com/ 4) Download and install Nvidia 3D Vision Player: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-video-player-1.7.5-driver.html 5) Restart your computer 6) Copy the Youtube video's url 7) Run "openyt3d.bat" in the "../OpenYT3d-0.1/ " directory 8) Paste the Youtube url in the field (mouse right click --> Paste) and press Enter. After a few seconds, 3D Vision player will pop up and the video will play automatically. Optional Steps: [.]With the Command window open, click on the top left corner to access the dropdown menu.[/.] [.]Click Properties and enable "Quick Edit Mode". Click Ok.[/.] Now pressing right click in the command window will automatically paste the link. (The above Youtube streaming method was originally documented in this thread: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/861240/script-to-watch-youtube-and-other-3d-streams-in-3dvision-player-without-dl-them-first/ )

Tis not there if using W10, it defaults to always on if I remember correctly. Search for a post by helifax for confirmation. No idea about W8 On W7, it tends to very from driver to driver whether it is there or not. Also it might be there for certain displays on a given driver, but not for other models.

Aw OK this is annoying because it now turns my 3d signal with lightboost on my Monitor on whenever I watch a video fullscreen, be it Youtube or VLC.

So they finally fixed the 3D shadowplay recording with latest geforce experience - all you gotta do is turn off 3D as normal by emitter or shortcut control and record, it works now!
