I just ran Windows Updater (5/10/2011, 10PM EDT). There were about 8 new updates plus one optional update for my Acer HN274N monitor called "Acer HN274N (DVI)". The update required a reboot. During bootup it got to Stage 2 of 2 32% complete applying updates, then it shut down and rebooted again, which I thought was unusual. On the second reboot the updates went to 100% complete.
After the update I tried iRacing, and it works fine. Then I tried to play BFBC2, which has been working great, but when I enable 3D mode I get a red warning message saying "Warning, attempting to run Steroscopic 3D in non-steroscopic display mode." I checked the BFBC2 settings and they are at 1920 x 1080 119Hz. The picture does go into some sort of stereoscopic mode, but it is double vision, almost like the glasses were not on (but they are).
I tried to find a way to uninstall the optional Acer update. It is listed under "Update History" as being successful, but it is not listed under "Installed Updates", which is where you remove the updates.

OK, I right clicked on Desktop, chose "Screen Resolution", selected the monitor (Acer HN274H (DVI)), and id a rollback. Now the monitor is listed as Acer HN274H (without the (DVI)), but BFBC2 is still broken.

Try going through the 3D Vision setup wizard again. It's on the NVIDIA control panel. Click the drop down that says 'Test stereoscopic 3D...' and you'll see it.

Any suggestions?
