3d pc problem
Hi and thanks for looking in,
i bought a new HP Pavillion HPE H8 pc along with a HP 2311 gt monitor and am having difficulty viewing 3d files.

on my desktop i have a shortcut to yabazam and can view 3d trailers no problem on there,
however i have a puss in boots trailer on my desktop but when i play that i just get it played as 2 seperate screens, in my pictures i have some MPO images and when i try to open them i get an error message saying ; NVIDIA 3D Vision features are not enabled. please review stereo setup information. Press OK to launch NVIDIA Control Panel.
however when i try to enable stereoscopic 3d it takes me to a setup and when i click on the glasses i use it says to plug in the IR device which i dont have??!!??

can anyone help please

That monitor is not supported by 3D vision. The computer you are using has an ATI card. That will also not work with 3D vision. I hate to tell you this but you will not be using 3D vision with this computer. I suggest you do some more research if you want to use 3D vision.

k thanks,

the monitor is advertised as a 3d monitor and will play the movies on yabazam, is this a different kind of 3d?
dont see why the 'puss in boots' trailer comes on the pc along with the mpo images files if its not supported,

as you can probably tell im very very new to all this....
cheers

ATI/AMD has a 3D solution now. Trying to find out about it on their biggest competitor's website is...ummm.... unproductive.

I would suggest calling up the folks that sold you this computer and ask them for some support. Check their website, too.
