Why 3D vision gives headaches A solution to why 3D vision gives headaches
I have been using 3D for a little while and I have noticed the reason why it gives headaches, it's because some closer images may cause the eyes to diverge, which is unnatural.

While the focal length can be set with a dial, the maximum divergence of images can't be set at all, this causes some closes images to be set wider apart than our eyes, causing the eyes to diverge and thus give headaches.

NVIDIA please do your best to include options to set the maximum divergence of images to 3D vision. This would help lose the stigma that 3D gives headaches.

CLOSER objects are diverging?? That would mean it has popped out so much that the image has popped all the way behind your head!

You can change convergence, though, at least in games. The quick way is to hold down the little green button on your emmiter then use the dial, which will change convergence instead of depth. You can also turn on the 'advanced options' in your control panel and set some hotkeys to increase/decrease convergence.

You can do that?
I've had the kit since last september or so and I never knew that. I've always been using the keyboard shortcuts. Cheers /tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Followers of the Great Prophet Andrew have know this for weeks now! See the FAQ.

This is why I wish Nvidia hadn't hid the convergence controls in an advanced menu (or secret button combination). People really do need to know how to use it.

Yep, it's just as important as depth.
