3D Vision Video Player playback stutters and crashes
Since installing 267.24 (and still occurring with 270.51), video playback stutters a lot in the NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player. After quitting the player, two crash logs (attached) are generated.

Which version of the player are you using? We just posted 1.6.9.

Also, what GPU and display are you using?

I'm getting all sorts of problems with my drivers lately, like my internet connection not working when I'm at 1280 x 720, but works fine in 1680 x 1050. I'm currently using the 267 beta drivers and quite surprised that it worked this time. When I tried it last week, I still had an issue with 1/4 of the screen in the left corner when I tried viewing 3D movies in TMT5. After I unistalled all Nvidia drivers I re-installed the 267 beta the other day and the 3D is now working but the video is choppy. To get around this, I used MSI Afterburner and overclocked my GTX460 from 700mhz to 875mhz. Not only this fix the studdering 3D video, but I was able to get internet connection at 1280 x 720, too, however, the internet speed is very slow at this resolution.

I never had these issues until I upgraded to the GTX460.

Hi

I have never heard of our driver messing with the internet connection. Are you sure your PC Power supply isnt overloaded? If you have an inadequate power supply and you push it to far, parts of your PC stop to wrok.

OK so I tried 1.6.9 and while that seems to have solved the crashing, however it has not resolved the playback issue. I've tried the following:

Playing the file in Windows Media Player (playback is fine, though obviously not in stereo)

Disabling the non-3D monitor (doesn't help)

Closing all other running programs

Playing windowed vs. full-screen (no difference)
Also I've noticed another issue which is that it doesn't properly exit stereo mode when closing the player (i.e. the USB receiver stays lit bright green). I've tried an MP4 file which played ok and didn't have any of these issues.

Hi

You wrote that the MP4 files doesnt have issues. What files do have issues then?
