Yeah I have the metro games, I would say its actually about 50% worse. I've had to turn the contrast down and the gamma up to make it tolerable, havent had this issue in any other game.

Oh man, if you are enjoying the game play there, you should definitely pick this up on 50% off sale for PC. In 3D, this is an epic experience. This is one of our best fixes ever.

Yes, it has a very strong HDR setup, which exacerbates the high contrast. It's so dark and high contrast that they have their own color setting of Deep Color, because otherwise there is color banding.

For some reason it didn't show my entire post.
I have been playing this amazing fix and it makes the xbox one look 10 years old in comparison.
I've got it running through my projector on a 127" screen in 3D with the 7.1 cranked up in my recliner.
It's unbelievable how good this game is.
The most intense, white knuckle, down right scariest game I've ever played!
The shadow of mordor fix is brilliant too. just a shame about the 2D markers but it just makes everything look so much more detailed.
Looks even better with the RGB toggle / full settings. Why can't nvidia get it right for HDMI connections?
Colours were always washy, Not any more!
This is the way it's meant to be played! without a doubt!
Keep up the good work, this is gaming nirvana!

Yah, that RGB toggle was wayyyyyyyyyy overdue!
He's talking about the option in the new driver that enables a user to change the Dynamic Range between Limited (16-235) and Full (0-255) when using certain connections. I believe it's enabled when using HDMI or Display port.

You are running an older version of the fix? All of those are fixed.
Run the uninstall.bat to cleanly delete everything, then reinstall the latest .zip from HexliModBlog.
Do not, and in fact, never, install a fix overtop of another fix. That will never work properly, not even with HelixMod fixes.
Edit: Not sure that rotating light in the factory is fixed. I think I remember it too.
I know for sure the wall in the warehouse is fixed.

Oh it seems my current fix was a bit outdated >_<
I'll check newer version immediately
I tryed last fix version (using uninstall for previous one of course), but spaceship projector at the begining of Marlow (planet) mission sin't fixed.
Anyway i didn't find it's so important really because you may see it in 30 seconds or so and never see again.

OK, thanks for the report. I've been on Marlow mission, but missed that one. (I missed one early on in the luggage area too, so maybe I'm just too used to glitches) I'll take another look when I get a chance. Mike is the king of these, but if I can recognize the pattern for a fix, I can often fix one-offs like these.
BTW, the water in the reactor is now at least partly fixed in the latest build. You can adjust convergence just a bit to make it seem right.

I saw not so many games with fixes from comunity at the moment so i can hadrly compare fixes quality, but i still can compare with some products with "out-of-box" 3D. And i sould admit that THIS game fix quality is extremely close to 3D Ready. Just few broken rare effects over whole game and things like crosshair depth or terminals depth are out of the line.
It's fantastic work really.

GUIDE: How to get Compatiblity Mode/Depth buffer/Fake 3D to work with [nearly] all DX11 titles
so far
step 1. i bought the game its in the steam folder
step2. downloaded NVidia Inspector
step 3 done
step 4 done
step 5 open Local Disk D- D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Alien Isolation
when i get to step 6
i have two file names
1. alien isolation/ ai.exe
2. ai.exe
when i click on one i get this message

do you really want to delete this NVIDIA predefined application executable?
Note: This can not be restored until next driver installation!
but i dont see this message in the screen shot.
is there a video i could follow or can some one kind enough take me through step by step.

If you are running 347.09 you don't need to do anything. CM profile for Alien Isolation is built into the driver but I would download this
http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2014/10/alien-isolation-dx11.html
Install this patch where the exe is located.
when the game boots press Ctrl-Alt-f11 to turn off compatibility mode.
and now you have real 3D
