3D Stereo for RHEL 5 64bit
Hello,

I can't enable 3D Stereo in RHEL 5 64bit.
Can anyone help?

My Hardware:
FX4600 with 3pin 3D Stereo port.
Nuvision 60GX 3pin Stereo glasses
One DVI_to_D-sub donngle.(FX4600 with 2 DVI ports)
Monitor:
Samsung 1200NF(CRT)
Driver:
100.14.11

I read the driver readme and find some information about 3D stereo in Linux.
So,I add some options in xorg.conf.

Section "Device"
Option "UBB" "True"
Option "AllowDFPStereo" "True"
Option "NoFlip" "False"
Option "Stereo" "3"

But,my Stereo glasses still doesn't works.(It works in WinXP.)

The 3D Stereo function works in high refresh rate, but I can only observe the max refresh rate 85Hz in nv X server setting.

My questions are:
(1)How can I add the high refresh rate to xorg.conf ?
(2)If something I do wrong or miss?

Thanks~

You can't use trivial Ge-Force to get 3D Stereo for Linux. It works just with Quadro /no.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> /no.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> /no.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

:)
FX4600 is NOT the Ge-Force family.
It is indeed a Quadro video card.
I should show the whole video card name.

"Quadro FX4600"

i have the same problem.
i am using quadro fx3450 on a dual quad core xeon workstation with 64bit RHEL5.

the driver works on 32-bit RHEL4, but not on 64bit RHEL5.

Hello,

The Stereo 3D function seems can be turned on when I disable "Composite" in RHEL 5 64bit.But it seems poor function.
But I can't ensure it is a driver or a application issue.

Could you share the Stereo 3D application in Linux information for me??
Since I can't find a good one.I just get a Stereo 3D sample application from Nvidia.

Thanks

The applications I use with stereo 3D are: insightII, PyMOL, and VMD, all of which are molecular modeling packages. I just tried the latest driver (12/20) and it does not work.
