Lego Star Wars compatibilty
Hi all,

I saw on the 3d vision compatibility list that it has "lego star wars" listed in the "good" category for playability. I was wondering which lego star wars game(s) that would be (original trilogy, complete saga) as the list is not specific, unlike the other lego titles 3d vision supports.

I was looking at purchasing lego star wars: the complete saga, but was wondering if it is 3d compatible. Do any of you guys have that game working in 3d or know of anyone that has the game and has it working in 3d?

I do realize that it is a Lego game and it may not have the best depth and convergence effects, but i have always been a fan of those games haha.

Any help would be most appreciated, thank you :)

I do have all the lego star wars games and i have been wondering how well they work in 3D, i did try harry potter lego in 3D and as long as you turned off the bloom and depth of field it looked terrific! you can get good toyification with it as well. At the moment i dont have my 3D kit installed as it is causing a conflict with my vid drivers causing the display adapter to constantly recover, making some games unplayable, namely dead space 1. Once i've finished that im gonna re-install it and lego star wars complete saga, will let you know what its like.

I love the lego games, one of the few local 3D multiplayers out there on the PC. I have a little video that shows it off a littlehere

Enjoy!

@ Crashezz

Hey thanks that is much appreciated. Let me know how everything goes with the reinstall and whatnot. Wish i could help with the issue you are having, but i checked some forums and couldnt find a solution for it. So ya the reinstall would definitely be your best option right now.

Hi, well turns out it wasnt the 3D kit causing that problem has it still happened anyway, didnt happen any where as near as often as it does with 3D installed though, grrr!

Anyway, tried lego star wars complete saga, it works but its a bit of a compromise, you can get some really nice pop out but the player icon and health at the top of screen kind of spaz out, flickering all over the place, same for when you collect studs. If you turn pop out to basically none so that the player icon bit as it at screen depth it doesnt flicker at all, but then there is no pop out at all, depth can be whacked right up to 100% but there is a fair bit of ghosting on everything unless you turn depth down to 15%, but then there is no point in playing it in 3D, lol.

Shadows had to be turned off though, everything else can be left on.

So its what you prefer, lots of pop out with annoying flicker, or lots of depth with extra ghosting. Shame, i was hoping that would work much better.

Hope that helps?

Hey thanks for the quick reply. That is quite unfortunate about the problems it has. Having to turn off the shadows seems like it would be very jarring and take you right out the experience, on top of having either no depth effect or tons of ghosting and the HUD display quircks haha. Too bad that this game wasn't supported better because it seems the other lego games are. I probably wont even bother getting it on pc, probably just get it for consoles cause its really cheap now if you get it used lol.

But anyways, thanks Crashezz for the information about the game, it is again much appreciated :)
