I have knoticed in CS:S , when u enable stereo , and increase separation enough with f5 and f6 , that when someone flashes u with a flashbang grenade the actual flash is displayed as an overlay of the screen , and consequently with the separation on that layer is out of view , enabling you to not get flashed .
I dont really use this method often if at all as its hard to play at that high separation , because the lasersight is somehow inverted and instead of adjusting the depth of the crosshair to the same depth as the centred object , it seems to go the opposite way so theres 2 lasersights . This is also another issue that i was wondering if anyone has got around .

The reason your getting 2 lasersights is because of the fact that you are focusing beyond the normal 2d level of the lasersight and into depth, similaraly, if you were to hold your finger arms length in front of you face, and then focus on something far away, you would get 2 hands....awesome!!!! Imaging what you could do with the extra arm!!!

Um , i thought the laser sight was supposed to compensate for this , thats the whole point of having it isnt it ? So when you enable 3D , you can still aim in FPS . It works for me , but only when i have a small amount of separation , which means its not really worth it , i mayswell not even use the lasersight in such a highly competitive game .

Yes and no....The laser sight does seperate with the game, so it isnt as bad as some games that have a 2d sprite for a target, but again, it cant change focus when you look at different parts of the game, if you look at something near the front, again, you are focusing closer than something further away.
