260.89 WHQL Drivers are out !
  4 / 4
I am convinced that the OP is some kind of troll playing a sick joke on the community because I searched all over Nvidia's website, and I have sound absolutely nothing related to any kind of new drivers for Nvidia 3D vision. The Latest version out to this date is CD 1.33, which came out way back in July, and includes v258.96. Direct link:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce-3d-vi...hql-driver.html

Now I also looked at the beta drivers, but in there I found absolutely nothing related to 260.89 or anything that could be new what so ever. The very latest beta driver avalible for 3D vision is CD v1.36, which came out over a month ago, and only includes v260.63. Direct link:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce-3d-vi...eta-driver.html

Anyone mind directly linking this supposed "260.89" that "just came out." I have found absolutely nothing after searching everywhere.

It's the normal graphics driver, not the full 3d Driver. You can DL the new graphics driver and then install the USB driver afterwards, I believe that was all laid out in a post on the first page.

I am the owner of Samsung Plasma PN50C7000 3d TV (not suported by 3DTV Play & 260.89 WHQL), ONKYO TX-SR608 receiver (suported by 3DTV Play & 260.89 WHQL) & Samsung BD-6900 3D player since May 2010. Since the same time I have been waiting to get a new PC. First, I have waited for drivers, then 3DTV Play, now for added support for Samsung Plasma 3DTVs. Wanted to join to the multiple time expressed message on the forum "nVidia, add support for Samsung Plasma 3D TVs !!!". Thanks for posts and comments by francomg & basthi. Continue the fight, guys !!! I want to bring to everybody's attention the following link and topic: HDMI 1.4 Ethernet Channel

Hi.
I have a GTX 470 and I installed the latest WHQL drivers and I realized 3D Vision isn't detected at all so I uninstalled them and got the latest 3D Vision Drivers ( separate from the graphics drivers ) and it worked.

Vadim, thanks for your comments, so you don't have 3D Vision so you can try out 3DTV Play??? You said you're waiting to buy a PC, I think that's what I understood. If you have the compatible Onkyo receiver it should work for you, no problem. As long as you connect your graphics card to the receiver and then connect receiver to the TV using HDMI cables. That's what some folks from this forum managed to do and make 3DTV Play work in their Samsung 3D Plasma models. Just get your PC, 3D Vision and go ahead and try it and share the results with us here at this thread.

I will try my new HDMI 1.4 Onkyo HT-S3300 and see if now 3DTV Play finally works for my Samsung 3D Plasma PN63C8000. The Onkyo HT-S3300 is not in the list, but I've
just found out that it's receiver is the same as Onkyo receiver TX-S308 which is in 3DTV Play compability list, the only difference is that the TX-S308 is sold separately without speakers and suports active subwoofer, the rest is all the same. So I have my fingers crossed, as I believe my receiver is fully compatible with 3DTV Play. I will find out wedneday as I'm out of town ATM.

Now I also looked at the beta drivers, but in there I found absolutely nothing related to 260.89 or anything that could be new what so ever. The very latest beta driver avalible for 3D vision is CD v1.36, which came out over a month ago, and only includes v260.63. Direct link:

Anyone mind directly linking this supposed "260.89" that "just came out." I have found absolutely nothing after searching everywhere.
What are you talking about ? Follow this link to the 1.37 Full driverCD http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce-3d-vi...hql-driver.html. OP was absolutely right ! Maybe something wrong with your 'net connection !!

Just get your PC, 3D Vision and go ahead and try it and share the results with us here at this thread.

francomg, thanks for your reply. I will post the info as soon as I get the new PC.
Has anybody looked at this link: http://www.hdmi.org/manufacturer/hdmi_1_4/hec.aspx What do you think?
