Although not speaking specifically of the series ub. But in this case I understand that around 2 TV, the difference lies in being curved. Perhaps 9500 is a bit faster in the CPU. By eliminating TV OLED (For the excessive cost) I do not want the TV curve, I would probably choose the 55UB950V. I see no better option. Does anybody know at what price you might find online? Thanks again

It is from 2015 (UB950 is from 2014) and it has the best input lag for a 4k passive TV (only 34 ms for UF950 and around 50ms for UB950).

It also has a few other improvements this tv? or something less? and then it will eventually be compatible with the mods EDID. ? model UB950 seems one of the most tested.

none of you have any experience with uf 950? although theoretically EDID files should be compatible with almost all passive, no one has tried with uf 950? or maybe some difference between the TV that escapes us? Thanks again Kaendd: thanks for your advice. Now I'm seriously deciding between the 2 TV

Thanks again Kaendd: thanks for your advice. Now I'm seriously deciding between the 2 TV
I do not own this TV yet so i'm not sure if the edid will work. But since it's a LG TV and since it supports 3840x2160 at 60hz with 4:4:4 chroma, i'm almost sure that the edid override will work with this model as well :) Currently i own a Sony 65X8505B but it doesn't support 4:4:4 chroma at 4k 60hz so i can't use the edid override with my TV. I'll probably get a new LG this month. I'd love to get the 65UF950 but it's a bit too expensive. I'll probably get the 65UF850 or 65UG870 (it's only 1800€ here in France but 65UF950 is 3200€). IF you want more info about the UF950 model, here is a good review: https://www.avforums.com/review/lg-55uf950v-uf950-review.11300#sectionAnchor40737

EDID mod works great with my 65UF9500 (US model number) - see https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/818183/3d-vision/gtx-970-4k-3d-vision-gaming-success-with-lgub850v-passive-tv-/post/4603008/#4603008. Because of its larger FOV (at closest viewing distance for 3D), I use my 55UB9500 for PC gaming, instead.

I have encountered occasional problems re-enabling 3D Vision via NV Control Panel wizard, after installing new NVIDIA Windows 10 display driver updates (may be EDID mod related). helifax has generously shared a batch file alternative for enabling 3D Vison. See https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/902324/3d-vision/enable-3d-vision-without-going-through-the-wizard-batch-file-registry-way-/.

It appears that Eincrou recently (Oct 12) added registry changes and lock features for passive users. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2015/10/advanced-3d-vision-configuration.html https://github.com/Eincrou/Adv3DVisionConfig/releases

I am intested in new LG OLED TVs, and I would like to use the new TV to play 3D games, and as a huge PC monitor if possible. I have no idea about how this work, I don't know if that is possible. I suppose the TV must be 4K (and not only 1080p) to make possible to play PC games in 3D. Of course before to invest big money on that TV I need to be sure what I can expect.

- "Intel Xeon X5670" @4000MHz CPU (20.0[12-25]x200MHz)
- RAM 16 Gb DDR3 1600
- "Dell S2716DG" monitor (2560x1440 @144Hz)

You will have to make a significant investment in GPU power if you want to have a high-quality game run in stereo at 60 fps, also.
