3D Vision Parts List Check
I'm going to be upgrading my HDTV and decided to try 3D. I was hoping you gusy could check my parts list and tell me if I'm missing anything

Samsung UN55C9000ZF http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs/UN55C9000ZFXZA
Onkyo HT-S3300 AV Reciever http://www.us.onkyo.com/model.cfm?m=HT-S3300&class=Systems&p=i
PC I7 980x 3x GTX480's LG Blueray -Will function as Media Center + 3D Gaming Testing
Xbox 360

http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-requirements.html

Shows Nvidia 3DTV Requierments - Not sure what the difference is between 3D Vision and 3DTV?

The Onkyo is on it.
The Samsung I'm thinking about waiting for the new models coming soon. Do pretty much all the Samsungs work or only select models?
Do I use the Samsung glases or Do I need Nvidia glasses?
Do I need to buy the Nvidia 3DTV software? http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play.html
Do I need a Nvidia 3D Kit? http://store.nvidia.com/store/nvidia/en_US/pd/productID.111286000?resid=TWvWegoBAlgAADkhJOUAAAA5&rests=1298912890365

Sorry if these are "nub" Questions I'm new to 3D and just want to make sure I get everything I need.

Eventhough I help you some research needs to be done before posts. This is like eigth one I answered same thing.

Xbox 360..... Must be newer model with hdmi port.(I think there are like 2 3d games on console anyway)
TV...Check(Though if you are going plasma the panasonic's have best known 3d performance)(v25's)
Reciever...Check
PC I7 980x 3x GTX480's LG Blueray.....?????Seems like a lot of different things smashed together. Blu Ray will play 3d on tv. Video Cards compatible. No idea what first part is.
Models compatible....Seriously man you got to look this stuff up. http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-requirements.html
3D vision is for monitors/projectors.They use the nvidia glasses. 3D TV play uses manufactors glasses(except for a select few dlp) 3d tv play tvs all are are hdmi 1.3-1.4 can only do 720p 60hz or 1080 24hz(practically unplayable).3d vision can do many formats(depending on monitor) and can do each at 120hz.
3D TV PLAY.....Needed for 3d hd tv.
Glasses....samsung.
3d tv kit....No

Its not that these are "nub" questions its just that you put very little effort into this.

Do not expect to play 3d video games at 1080p if you are buying a 3d hd tv.

You can get a 3d projector for 300-$600. They can only do 720p at 3d. Many of us own acer 5360's are happy with them.(Can not do console 3d gaming unless you buy a kit called 3d VIP gamer.)

Comming out soon is a 3D 27" LCD monitor that can do 1080P 3D/720P 3D 120 HZ. Has nvidia 3d vision built in. Can do console 3d ps3/360. Acer HN274H.

Hi

3D Vision glasses are design to work with 3D Vision PC monitors and laptops, listed here http://www.nvidia.com/object/3D_Vision_Requirements.html. With 3D Vision, you get to play games in 3D, view photos, Stream video content in 3D.

3DTV Play is software that enables all of the 3D Vision features and applications to work when connected to a 3D TV. The reason we created it was that our 3D Vision glasses are not designed to work with 3D TVs and this SW allows you to then get the features to work on your 3D TV.

I hope this helps clarify it.

I don't get why they would make such a poor system but anyway do you know if they New TV's are coming out with a solution to the "24hz" issue?

And thank you for taking the time to answer my questions

Can you confirm that with PC based 3d Games I will be stuff at 24hz/FPS? Is their a solution to that?

And to confirm I understand you - 3dtv is basicly bridging Nvidia 3D with the TV's 3D Glasses?

You can get a 3d LCD monitor. Like I said its comming out soon. Acer HN274H comes with 3d vision built in (so it saves you 150 bux) I think its $850. Next biggest is 24".
