new drivers for 3dvision when?
I had had my 3d vision and samsung monitor now since last Friday. I have tried many games with great success. UT3 works very well with the glasses. Left4Dead and Fallout 3 are also very good with 3d vision. Then there are games I would like to play in 3d like dead space but the ghosting is so bad it makes me sick. Also Call of Duty World at War hurts my eyes/brain due to the fact that the foreground is a solid 3d image and background keeps splitting into 2 seperate images(ghosting maybe). I would like to see some new drivers improve on these games as well as add games that are not currently listed.

I know what you mean. I am actually kind of nervous, are we gonna have to wait weeks after new releases to get a driver update from nvidia with new profile information?

Nervous here too.

I'd like to know why Nvidia doesn't have reps in here with meaningful answers for certain questions (ghosting etc) as well... Have they abandoned 3d Vision so soon after launch?

Not sure why you are having problems with Deadspace or COD-World at War. I am getting good results with both. I dont think drivers are your problem. World at War especially is amazing and I didnt have to turn off post processing or any special features to get it that way. Deadspace is also ok but I did have to turn off post processing, motion blur and maybe a few other things that screw up the s3d.

The difficulty I think for Nvidia is that they need to make it clearer what typically works and what doesn't with s3d so people have a chance to make it work until they get out the official profiles. I have been using s3d for years and have some idea but there are still weird effects in each game that are hard to explain. In Deadspace for example there is a slight but definite shadow appearing around the right hand image of each character you see in the game. That seems to be a software thing as opposed to ghosting from the glasses. In any case post processing and motion blur effects are almost always deadly and should be turned off. Some will say that ruins the beauty of the game but it is a trade off I will gladly make for the s3d effect. At least until they figure out how to have both.
