My setup: Home Theater PC - nVidia 430 connected to Yamaha HTR8063 3D ready receiver connected to Samsung UN55C8000 3DTV.
3D vision wizard detects HDMI 1.4, finish successfully, test showing flying nVidia logo and 3D picture viewer showing 3D pictures just fine.
Both PowerDVD and ArcSoft TrueTheater 5 detects 3D vision and 3DTV over HDMI 1.4.
The problem: Avatar 3D / Alice in Wonderland 3D is absolutely flat, no double image / parralax on the screen.
Tried with three latest nVidia drivers, both players updated to the lates available level.
I see a lot of users experiencing similar issues with BlueRay 3D but haven't seen any resolution. Any ideas what to try?
is PDVD10 showing the 3D logo next to the pull down menu? If 3D, it will show '3D' on bright blue cube. What mode is your pull down menu showing next to the blue cube?
Arcsoft will show '3D' mode in the upper left corner.
Have you tried going straight into the input on your Samsung, bypassing the receiver?
Post your patch version for PDVD10, and the rev of Geforce drivers.

Yes, on both players logo is there, I can switch from 3D to 2D and back, TV is turning on 3D mode and asking to put on glasses. Both players automatically detecting 3D vision over HDMI 1.4. I didn't try direct path yet but receiver is 3D ready, has HDMI 1.4 and nVidia demo works just perfectly fine, HDCP reported fine. In other words everything is fine except no 3D on BlueRay. (Forgot to mention that newest drivers from nVidia really messed up display in 3D mode, none of the windows really redrawing until you move them).

In Avatar, the opening graphic is white text on green background. Is that in 2D? What 3D mode is indicated on PDVD10 pull down? HDMI1.4 HDTV?

1. Not sure what you mean by that. As soon as Blu-Ray loaded PowerDVD is showing a prompt to switch to full screen 3D mode which could be suppressed by check box. In full screen mode TV shows invite to put on glasses but actual picture on the screen is just absolutely normal 2D, as menu, as movie itself except higher brightness to compensate glasses.
2. Auto-detect is set to HDMI 1.4, I could set it manually to 1080P - 24 or 720P - 60, no difference. Non of the other formats work except anaglyph which is of course fine with anaglyph glasses.
Thank you very much for your help, really appreciate it.
