Has anyone here played Oblivion w/ 3d Vision?
Its rated as good, just wondering exactly how good it is. I've never played it before and someone suggested it as a very good RPG. I can't wait to dig in!

No comment on the 3D - but the game is extremely good.

it will be one of the first games I play properly when my 3D kit arrives tomorrow...

Just be sure to download the Oblivion 3d sky fix by yozj. It's in a thread here, but it's easier to just google it. And when running the game, as a personal preference, I adjust convergence till my hands, or weapon are just "out" of the screen, and set the depth as high as you are comfortable.
After that, Oblivion is simply breathtaking! Still one of my most played games. :)

Yeah I keep hearing that and its one of the few games I haven't played. I will be purchasing it today!

On a side note, I kinda forgot how to adjust the convergance and what to look for. I think its ctrl+F5 but I have never successfully actually done it properly as everytime I have I've noticed no difference.(Which is me doing it wrong. So any pointers would be much appreciated!!!!)

to adjust convergence
enable advanced keys in nvcpl
defaults are ctrl f5 ctrl f6 and ctrl f7 (to save)
turn 3d on but take glasses OFF
adjust convergence by holding ctrl f5 or ctrl f6 (it takes a while) so that there is no doubling on the object you want to converge on
then press ctrl f7 to save
anything thats towards you from the object you converged on will be out of screen, anything thats from you from the object you converged on will be in screen

After little fixing its very good, enemy fireballs coming straight to face in tight dungeon looks cool. Like AcidBong said, you need sky and water fix/mod.

There is also annoying thing with crosshair what shows as double. Cause it got also sneaking icon (undetected or detected) and hand if you can take something, you cant just disable it. I use few mods what moves sneaking icon bottom of the screen and disables crosshair, but shows hand(still shows as double) when you can take something.

I cant remember any names of those mods and im not home atm, but those wasnt hard to find when i knew what to look.

It is long been considered that the famous "Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul" mod is how Oblivion should have been... Trust me.

yeah Oblivion is great in 3d. I've been playing this game on/off since it came out years ago, but when I got the 3d vision it really gave it new life.

The sky mod is a must, and i've been using oscuro's big overhaul mod, plus a bunch of others. I might actually finish it this time.
