3DTV play / 3D Vision query
Make this page your HOME.
Ahh, HelixMod! I do not know how many hours I have spent there without even having a PC or even a 3D capable display! Just to find out if my favorite game will be supported or not, when I'm ready. One query, in Alan Wake, I wanted to check if I have to eye swap or not. But strangely, whether I use my TV glasses normally or upside down, it makes no difference. Depth is low just 5% with convergence set to slight "pop" effect. When I remove the glasses I do see double images, so 3D is working. Any guess why this should happen? Edit: I do not know how to explain this, but... yes the L/R are swapped in game and I use the eyeswapper. Final edit: Fuck it, whatever it is, I'm gonna enjoy it. Peace.

@DrVignesh What 3D TV are you using ? I have been playing in 3D since 2010 only on 3D TVs with 3D TV Play and later the EDID overrides and it works great with 3D Vision. PM me your hardware, OS and the 3D TV perhaps I could help.
Depth is low just 5% with convergence set to slight "pop" effect.
Depth is measured at the furthest object, usually mountains, and is the distance between the two images. Typically, this is roughly 2 1/4 inches (6 CM) at 100% So if the mountains or whatever have this much distance between them, then depth is not an issue. You need to set the convergence. Only use the amount of depth that feels comfortable to your eyes.
