Nvidia 3Dvision worked without problems on my dual monitor PC until i installed new drivers.
This is the hardware:
- PC wit i7 processor, 8gB RAM and Windows 7 64 bit
- Geforce GTX470
- Acer GD245HQ (3DVision qualified 120 Hz - Windows main monitor)
- Samsung Sync Master T220 (My other 60 hz 2D monitor)
When i installed all of the drivers, some month ago (Version 258) 3DVision vorked correctly on the Acer Monitor, regardless of the 2nd monitor.
Now, i upgraded the drivers to 266 (uninstalled everything, cleaned up, made a full re-installation from a fresh-downloaded full-CD), and when i try tu run a 3D application or the stereo video player i got this message:
"Warning: attempt to run stereoscopic 3D in a non-stereo display mode, please change to an accettable mode. See documentetion for acceptable stereoscopic 3D modes."
The only way to use 3DVision is to unplug the 2nd monitor...

Are you running them in full screen mode or window?
Try increasing the size of the windowed mode windows size. Once you re-size it to be large enough the 3D vision should SNAP-TO and activate for you.
I had this issue, in a windowed screen it wouldn't go 3D, once I adjusted the windows size it hit it no problem.
Issue Im having is if I load up a windowed box, on the 3D monitor its in 3D, but I have no way to turn off the 3D effects on the 2D monitor with the newest drivers.
I disable 3D, I reboot, I try CONTROL T, it still interlaces the image on the 2D monitor as if it was still trying to push 3D to it. it vibrates the image in place reguardless of any settings for my game in windowed mode on my 2D monitor. I like the streaming content and windowed mode 3D on the new drivers, but making my 2D monitor unusable kills the benefits I get from it....back to the old vision 3D CD setup I go.

I only ana always use 3D in full-screen mode, now i try to run something windowed.
In any case, i think today i'm gonna try to re-install an older version of the drivers.
2x 280's with an LG 2363D and an HP w2007.
Worked with both monitors before the latest drivers. Have to remove a monitor to get 3D to work.
Odd thing, though, the 3D videos on the 3D Vision Live site never worked for me. Always told me that some piece of software was missing regardless of how many times I installed.
Now, though, the site works fine and games running in Windows Mode also see to work...full screen? No love.

I had this problem last spring when I updated drivers. 3D worked correctly whole time, but suddenly: "Warning: attempt to run stereoscopic 3D in a non-stereo display mode, please change to an accettable mode. See documentation for acceptable stereoscopic 3D modes."
I didnt know then it had to do something with my another monitor what is only 60Hz, then I remembered I didnt reboot my computer after installing new drivers and problem came up.
Everything went back to normal when I disabled 60Hz monitor, reboot and enable it again. If disable and reboot dont help, I would try to uninstall drivers, disable another monitor, install drivers, reboot and enable.

Does it matter what 60Hz monitor you have? Please let me know so I can avoid purchasing same or similar model that have the problem you encountered.

Monitor doesnt matter, different refreshrate doesnt matter, my 120Hz and 60Hz monitors work fine together. Problem was just that one time with drivers, or my incorrect install of drivers(didnt reboot).

Any idea to solve this annoying problem??
Thanks!

Monitor doesnt matter, different refreshrate doesnt matter, my 120Hz and 60Hz monitors work fine together. Problem was just that one time with drivers, or my incorrect install of drivers(didnt reboot).
