It works, screens here. In nvapi.ini, I'm using convergence 0.75, separation of 10.

The only issue now is that it doesn't seem to save convergence between game launches, you have to adjust it every time. Not a big deal though.
If you comment out out the seperation it will use whatever you set. Like it should work like helix's games fyi. I updated site [thanks for pics], might be a better solution down the line but hopefully someone who will play vanilla will see it.

I don't understand, I thought the separation sets how things are while holding right mouse button? This is how my ini looks right now.
[OverrideSettings]
Input=Mouse
Action=Button 1
Convergence=0.75
Separation=10
When I release the mouse button, it drops back to my previous settings. It's only when I exit the game that it forgets convergence.

Convergence=0.75
;Separation=10
Try that. It still wont save settings but it will be like helix's settings.
This is what happens when I comment out separation. It doesn't really work at all?
This was taken with Convergence=0.75
I tried 5 and the gun was on different edges of the screen - completely broken

I didnt doubt you = / Im just saying I am helping without game installed. So I am "limited" by what I know. I know it "Should" work, but if it doesnt I cant say much.
Go ahead. Im going to bed though.

Okay, I got it. Convergence of 0 is pretty much perfect for aiming down sights, but setting it to 0 in the ini causes it to "stick" at 0 after the right mouse button is pressed. So setting it to 0.01 works perfectly. It's also far less visually jarring than my method, which had the depth adjust itself significantly as well.
Oh, and the screenshots on this post extend over the release news column.
I preorded this as soon as I could. Partly on principle, as a thankyou to the developer for making Metro 2033, which was one of the best games I've ever played. The atmosphere and lighting was just incredible - and I only played in 2D.
Can't wait for the sequel. Metro Last Light is one of the main reasons I decided to upgrade recently with 2xGTX Titans and a 3D monitor. Will the game be worth $3000? Lol.....we'll have to see...
I broke one of my rules of never pre-ordering games as well. I hate, hate, hate the scammy nature of pre-order bonus- but I made an exception for Metro.
I've been scammed before, but figured there was a good chance that they wouldn't blow it, since they did such a great job with 2033. And I wanted to support a good developer doing 3D right. Still stings to pay full price for a game, but damn it's good.
A few shots:
http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/bo3bber/album/519208fe5ec3468a3c000014/
Runs OK on GTX580 SLI, for 1280x720@120 projector in 3D. Consistently 60fps, some dips to 47 to 50. Running tesselation max, quality very-high.
Only anomalies that I've seen so far are with the damned lens flare. That effect is waaay past its prime and needs to be retired.
I confirm convergence is locked. Didn't try Chiri's unlocker yet.
Setting motion blur to low helps.
Seems like the FOV is too tight.
Screens incoming.
In your screens, you say they seem overly compressed. On the off chance you or others don't know, you can change the JPG compression from the NVidia default of 50, to anything you want. I set it to 85. However, it gets reset back to 50 for every driver upgrade, clean or not.

Or is there something else you've changed to make ironsights as good as possible with still having good amounts of depth and convergence during normal (non ironsight) gameplay? I'm asking you this because I have the game ready waiting at home and once I get home from work I wan't to start playing it as soon as possible and with the best possible settings for 3D as well of course;)

Almost. You may also wish to go to \Steam\steamapps\common\Metro Last Light\legal.ogv and rename it to .bak - to remove the intro logos.

It should be noted that if anyone buys this with the expectation that it will run well in 3d on anything below SLI 660s, they're going to have a bad time, You may be able to minimise every graphics setting and achieve something reasonably playable, but this game is a performance hog (even on the latest beta drivers). It also lacks much in the way of graphics settings, you have:
Overall: Low, Medium, High
AA: On/Off
AF: 4x/16x
Tessellation: Off/Normal/High
Physix: On/Off
That's it. No texture detail, no FOV options to be found (even in config files), none of the usual "advanced" stuff.
