Nvidia 3D vision 2 Glasses won't stay on
Hello, recently I bought the ASUS VG278HR monitor and so today I wanted to test the 3D function for my bluray movie playback, I have a couple of 3D movies, so I tried the Prometheus in 3D, I ran the installation wizard without any problems, but when I tried to watch the movie with the 3D glasses, they won't stay on for more than a few seconds, about 10-15 seconds....

I did, I charged them for almost 2 and a half hours, the amber light was blinking while I was charging them via that usb cable that came with the set... I read somewhere on the forum that it's a normal behaviour that when you turn the 3d glasses on, the green light will stay on for about 15 seconds and that disappears....

Yep the light turn off after a little bit, that's normal. Is the movie actually outputting in 3D mode? Because if your monitor isn't displaying in 3D the glasses will not stay turned on.

Well the green 3D emmitter is steady green, but the movie is definitely not in 3D at all and I have the power DVD 13 ultra version where it was said it can play 3D movies...

I know my 120hz monitor is connected through Dual-link DVI and I can play 3D games at 60hz/1080p on it.

Getting 3D movie playback is harder than getting games to work. There are lots of threads about problems with the video players. Since you started off by seeming to have glasses problems, start there. Run the wizard to be sure it's all set up and no errors and you can see 3D. Then, run the Test Stereoscopic 3D tool in the Set up stereoscopic 3D control panel. That shows the big NVidia logo in 3D in out of screen effects too. Let that run for a couple of minutes to be sure your glasses don't turn off or are otherwise faulty. Let us know if that works correctly.

Can't wait to watch the Predator in 3D , I bought the remastered 3d version of the film on christmas so it should arrive in the new year :)
