I do plan on getting The Orange Box asap... so I can play HL2 again. I can't really find it under $25... Kinda sucks. It's such an old game to be selling for $30 everywhere.

Warband, its practically flawless in 3d and its not even listed as a title.

Presumably you mean Mount and Blade: Warband? I struggle with that, as I'm only ever good at distance killing (archer) and the last time I looked the sight/crosshair was 2D. Is there a mod or a fix of some kind for it do you know?
Anyway, another vote for WoW - the recent patch didn't break much except the water, which can be fixed by downgrading to previous style water effects (still good) and the revamped Orgrimarr is quite frankly incredible in 3D.
Bad Company 2 is still top of teh pops though. If only they'd fix controller support!!!

Batman AA Goty is easily by far the best game designed for showcasing in 3d.
Bought it on steam over the weekend sale for $29.99 and I can't stop being amazed by the 3d graphic quality of the game.
I just purchased and only test on a few games... Batman AA is great though.. I can't wait until college gets out for Christmas break so I can play the game all the way through...
BTW... How can you stand buying games on steam videopho?? Don't you care about having a physical disc that you can reinstall.. A box to add to your collection with nice artwork and an actual instruction manual that you can hold???
BTW I bought Batman AA at goodwill for 6 dollars unopen.. You paid 30 and didn't get anything but the game... How can people buy digital games?? Someone explain this to me!!

Completely off topic but Steam is all about Cloud computing. True, you don't get a disk but disks can wear with time, even if you look after them. As long as there is Steam you will always be able to dl your game onto any computer you own.
Not having a manual kinda sucks though. Great toilet reading - right lads?

Seriously, it's amazing in 3d. (Even better than the new Tomb Raider)
The water and lighting effect are great.
There is a demo (just google trine demo)
/w00twave.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':w00twave:' /> I uploaded an 3d viewer Trine image HERE (password is '3d')
Other standout games I've played:
Fallout NV + depth of field mod + sky fix is blissful.
Just Cause 2 (demo)
Dead Rising 2
Warcraft is fun once you tweek the convergence.
Left 4 Dead
The free to play mmrpg Vindictus (after you play a bit you get a character maker 'moment' that allows you to rotate the character around/tryout armor sets...looks amazing.)
All in all i'm VERY happy/excited with 3d vision...

Metro 2033
This game looks A M A Z I N G. By far the best 3D experience. Didn't enjoy the gameplay too much, sometimes a monster would jump through me or I can see through it but the experience overall is highly recommended. It is hard on the system, I did a slight OC on GTX 470's in dual SLI and set the fan to 77% for the game, I had slow cutscenes but everything else was playable. 5.1 surround sound is highly recommended for this game.
Heroes of Might and Magic V
The game consists of cartoony graphics but has literally some of the best popout, when watching the cutscenes or just viewing the main menu. The campaign gameplay is poor and too long. Elements of RPG, base building, and strategy. Beware though, its turn-based. /wallbash.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wallbash:' />
Fallout: New Vegas
I really enjoyed this game because of the RPG elements, the 3D effects added a lot of depth to the game but very little popout. Overall it makes the game look much much better and I cannot play it without 3D on.
Witcher
AWESOME 3D EFFECTS but buggy. If you have SLI you will get lights shining through walls. When 3D is enabled there are artifacts that ruin the immersion of the game. I could never get into it for these reasons. I've only been playing it when the glasses are recharging. Not recommended for 3D. The sequel looks promising though.
L4D2
3D effects don't seem that impressive, I'll give it a 2/5 for added depth.
Just Cause 2
Sets the bar high, not only is it an enjoyable FUN action game but its got great 3D effects, the most impressive being the enemy gunfire, good popout on that, makes you want to duck down and cover. /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Starcraft 2
Good depth effects. It really shines on some of the custom maps where you have a cam following a unit.

You can fix the lights shining through walls on The Witcher is you download Nvidia Inspector and set SLI compatability to 0x0240000D. Here is a link to a picture of what that looks like:

I am finding that every game looks incredible in their own way. My graphics card is the 9800 gtx, and I am surprised at how well it performs. The only game I had to tune back a bit on is on Battlefield Bad Company 2.
B-Bad Co. 2- looks incredible. I can really turn up the depth and convergence in this game. Debris, bullits, and missles whizzing by your head is just outrageously wonderful.
Call Of Duty 2- Looks incredible. THe colors look a bit washed out.
Just Cause 2- Looks incredible. Best colors. I get some good pop-outs, in your face stuff
Serious Sam 2- Looks incredible. Only played a little bit, and got a bit freaked out by the creepy dudes comming at me. I didn't want them to get so in-your-face with me!
Painkiller- Looks incredible
Delta Force Blackhawk Down, Escellation, and Xtreme 2- all looks incredible. I have always been a huge DF player from the beginning. THese games have been the only ones I have been multiplaying all these years. Playing these games in 3D, I can't stop laughing. It's like being stuck in a claymation, or a viewmaster. Absolutely priceless to step into the world of maps I have been playing over and over for all these years. THe support for 3d isn't too good, as the sightings are off, and it gets wierd in close quarters, but it will not in any way stop me from playing in 3d. It's just way too amusing. Absolutely incredible.
My eyes were hurting after my first day of playing all day. But it hasn't been so bad after that.
Because of this forum, I plan to get Bat Man AA, (only $25.00!) and I already ordered Avatar (only $5.00!). I got Just Cause 2 yesterday (only $10.00!) Gotta love it.

Medieval Total War 2 (with The Third Age mod)
Absolutely perfect with 3DV, better than both Empire and Napoleon. Wait 'till you see a group of angry Trolls heading your way...

Thanks for the notice about the Third Age Mod. I am playing it now in 3D. Medieval 2: total war was my favourite strategy game for many many months. I learned battlefield formations and tactics from this game.
After some adjustments (depth and convergence), it now looks *perfect* in 3D. Text,HUD,and the campaign map are now all simultaneously in focus in 3D mode. This is the first 3D game which has given me the urge to make 3D screenshots.

Other standout games I've played:
Fallout NV + depth of field mod + sky fix is blissful.
Just Cause 2 (demo)
Dead Rising 2
Warcraft is fun once you tweek the convergence.
Left 4 Dead
The free to play mmrpg Vindictus (after you play a bit you get a character maker 'moment' that allows you to rotate the character around/tryout armor sets...looks amazing.)
All in all i'm VERY happy/excited with 3d vision...

Starcraft 2
Good depth effects. It really shines on some of the custom maps where you have a cam following a unit.

Sets the bar high, not only is it an enjoyable FUN action game but its got great 3D effects, the most impressive being the enemy gunfire, good popout on that, makes you want to duck down and cover.
Starcraft 2
Good depth effects. It really shines on some of the custom maps where you have a cam following a unit.

I used this fix when I had nHancer but since that doesn't work with the newer drivers I am using Nvidia Inspector also. It's a fantastic tool.

Absolutely perfect with 3DV, better than both Empire and Napoleon. Wait 'till you see a group of angry Trolls heading your way...
Civ 5
Truly 3D-Ready. Vibrant, alive, and addictive.
King Arthur: The Role-Playing Wargame
Great game but unfortunately unplayable in 3DV.
X3:Terran Conflict
No better than "fair", unfortunately. Lots of ghosting, planets not rendering properly, etc.
GTA IV
Good but I haven't found any fixed for the aiming reticle. Anyone have a solution ?

Excepcional 3D effect.
Has anybody here played AVP2?
