3d vision no longer working
Hello Everyone, Wondering if anybody can help. I bought 3d vision 2 about 2 months ago and LOVE it. Everything was working fine. The only thing I had to do was charge my glasses once and they worked several days after. Recently I went on a trip and I did not game for about 2 weeks. Today I go to fire up a game in 3d and while I can see the stereoscopic image on screen, the glasses are not working. The emitter is on and green and everything else looks like it should display in 3d but after I hit the button on the glasses and it turns green, I still see the double images on screen. This definitely feels like a glasses gone bad type of thing but how in the world did that happen? They are new, the battery is charged and I keep good care of them. I called NVidia and they are escalating a case but I have a bad feeling it is the glasses. I don't see how it could be anything else since the emitter is green and the onscreen image is 2 images. That should rule out drivers, video card, monitor, yada yada. It is like the the glasses just are not turning ON even though they have power. I will try charging them up but I did plug them in and try to play with the same result. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

uninstall & reinstall drivers. in the nvidia control panel, go to 3Dvision and verify it's 3Dvision selected and not 3D Discover.

After I rebooted Windows installed an update and then everything was working again. Strange but I will keep that in mind in the future if this occurs again.
