What are the best games for 3d driver? Am I missing anything?
1 / 3
Well, it seems we have very little to talk about now we have the rock solid 71.89s so I thought it would be good to share our opinions on what games are, must see in 3d to fully appreciate. If you have a game that is just amazing in 3d please let me know.
1}Farcry
2}Painkiller
3}Doom3
4}Metal of honor pacific assault
5}Lord of the rings return of the king
6}Commanche 4
7}Star Trek bridge commander
8}Star Wars Starfighter
9}UT2004
10} Trickstyle (so old it supports glide and DX) but real cool in3d
11}Star Trek Klingon Academy (verry old, dx 7 days, but cool in 3d)
I would also add Halflife 2 but steam updating itself has ruined that game for me.

Thanks bigtabs, I have COD and your right, it is good on stereo, I'm tired of it too.
I will look for NFSU2 thanks for the tip. And I havn't played Quake2 in stereo since I had an ATI card with ED driver, I'll try to find it.

Just discovered this one. Looks and plays excellent in stereo. Just turn off motion blur in the configuration tool an put your seatbelt on. /w00t.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':w00t:' />

(!) An oldie: Star Wars: X-Wing Alliance works BEAUTIFULLY in 3D!!! :D
I like to watch the replays and zoom in (external view) on the fighters. They look almost as beautiful as in the movies!
With 3D to its MAX it is wonderfull, but you will have to minimize 3D effects when U R inside the bumpit!
(!) F1 Challenge '99-02 is GREAT when you have the camera ABOVE the bumpit! (YAY!) You can see the vehicle's suspension move with every bump in 3D. Nothing comes closer to life than that. (too bad the grafix are not phtorealistic... :'( ) But believe me, the views, like, INSIDE the bumpit, and Behind The Vehicle are a delight for your eyes!
Happy 3D Gaming! /smile2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':))' />

Thanks Tzeff I thought I had all of the Star Wars games but I have never heard of this one. This one I will have to put on my must have list. And it also reminds me that Rogue Squadron should also be on my list, very cool in 3D.

If NFSU2 left you craving for more tacky hiphop soundtracked cheesemongery then this works very well in stereo, provided that you switch off motion blur, light trails and bloom.
It looks as good as NFSU2. Scarily similar in fact, although we are treated to daylight in this one.
Thanks BT, I'll will be looking for this one. BTW, your right Quake2 is awsome in 3d.
Quake 3 is also awsome in stereo. But lets face it, when you have UT2004, what's the point?

Agreed, I haven't played Quake 3 since I bought UT 2004. I rarely ever play UT 2004 single player or 3D because That is the game we play most when I take my box over my friend’s house and we battle it out. I never take my glasses. I love the maps. I think I'll play that one with the glasses tonight. I should also add Age of mythology and Lord of the rings battle for middle earth, they look great with the glasses but I don't use them for very long on real time strategy games for some reason.

I tried this game out at a friends house with a force feedback stearing wheel. I was really bad at it, I was crashing into every damn thing. I would like to see it in 3d though.

12. Call of Duty (I personally don't like this game much but alot of people do, and it works great in Stereo)
13. Quake 2 (an oldie but a goodie, no need to worry about frames per second with this one, still very playable)
