I am using a 9800 gx2 graphics card. I recently purchased an Acer GD235hz monitor. It is set as my primary display according to the Nvidia control panel. I also have a Dell 2405FPW as my secondary display. If I unplug the dell monitor and reboot the system with it unplugged, 3d vision works great. If I have the dell connected, and set as secondary, I get a blue screen when trying to enable 3d vision. I have a fresh install with windows 7 64bit. The drivers I have installed are 196.21 for both display as well as 3d vision.
If I try to disable the dell via the Nvidia control panel, it goes black, but if I then try to enable 3d vision, my system reboots and the dell is still active when the system comes back up. I have tried it with the displays plugged into opposite dvi ports on the card and the results are the same. Can anyone help me? It is really annoying to have to reboot my system with only the Acer plugged in to get 3d vision to work, especially because I have to go through the 3d vision setup every time I do this.

Interesting, I get the BSOD when I try to enable SLI and use Nvidia 3d on my 9800 GTs, and I have two monitors. I'll disconnect one tonight and reboot, then try enabling SLI and running 3d tonight. In the meantime, does this happen to anyone else?
