Toshiba A665 and 3D Not able to use 3D without reinstalling driver
I've had my Toshiba Satellite A665 for a couple of days now and when I try to use 3D, I can't do it without using the "Enable 3D Vision" on the start menu.
Also, the short cut keeps coming up as a registry error so I have to keep reinstalling the NVIDIA driver to enable 3D.
Is there anything I can do to stop this from happening?

I'm not experiencing this problem, although I was having some problems with it always reverting to Red-Cyan glasses mode. I had to remove all Nvidia related drivers, then install the latest graphics driver, which includes 3D. Seems to work fine now provided that I remember to use the 'Disable 3D' shortcut (which I've added to the desktop) *before* unplugging the USB. I'm not sure why Toshiba didn't integrate the 3D module into the laptop itself to be honest.
In your case I'd try removing the 3D driver and normal graphics driver completely, restart, and just install the latest one, which integrates 3D drivers I believe. Otherwise I have no idea what could be causing it.

My Laptop:
Toshiba Satellite A665 - 15.6" 120Hz 3D LCD - Intel Core i7 740QM (1.73GHz x 4)
4GB 1066MHz DDR3 RAM - Nvidia 3D Vision - Nvidia 350M 1GB - 3D Blu-Ray RW - 500GB HDD
Thanks for your answer. I have reinstalled the drivers and it worked great for a couple of hours, then the 3D stopped working again. The shortcut to enable and disable 3D seems to be working as I can see the stereoscopic 3D with the enabled box ticked on the NVIDIA control panel. However, I still can't see 3D.

I think I've finally figured out what was causing the problem. It seems that stereoscopic 3D display type was reverting back to "3D vision discover" from "Toshiba 120Hz 3D LCD".
