Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy The Telltale Series works in 3DVision
Like all new TellTales games, GOTG works great in 3D. Tested with 397.93 and the Unviversal fix (see my signature for it). It gets the same problems that I've encounter with "Walking Dead: A New Frontier": Fog/smoke around characters are missing, but not realy a problem. Some textures may appear black (not always the same). Solutions: First disable SLI, then modify the game profile with the game closed. Download and extract wherever. http://www.guru3d.com/files-get/nvidia-inspector-download,1.html Launch nvidiaInspector.exe . Go to profile Settings: In Profiles tap "Marvel" then find the line StereoTextureEnable: Change to 27 and Apply change: If you change 3D settings into the game, the 27 line may switch back to 23 again. You'll have to change it again. In game if black textures came back, you also could go to graphics and switch the anti aliasing option to on or off then go back to the game. Do it twice if necessary. To prevent it to come back, use space to pause the game. ;) .

In Profiles tap "Marvel" then find the line StereoTextureEnable:

Change to 27 and Apply change:

@Dugom in the d3dx.ini replace this:
StereoTextureEnable = 35
for this:
StereoTextureEnable = 0x00000027
And start the game. No need to use NV inpector.

Thanks. A lot ! :)

I had earlier updated StereoTextureEnable in d3dx.ini, but I double-checked in Nvidia Inspector to be sure: It still appears that something is off: It looks like it has something to do with the shadows only being rendered in one eye. This goes away if I change the Rendering Quality to "low": I get the custom 3D Vision message and adjusting the d3dx.ini file has affects, so I'm pretty sure the fix is installed correctly. It's possible this situation isn't limited to this game in particular. I've noticed some problematic lighting issues when playing Assassin's Creed: Liberation (night-time scenes with torches, especially)... as well as Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (in Oblivion, I fixed the issue by turning off HDR lighting). Maybe it's time for a DDU reset. I've been considering updating from Window 1703 to 1803, but have taken the line "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" until now.

It still appears that something is off:
