For those wanting to run stalker:SOC
You can run tridef with the Stalker:COP profile and either use side by side top down or interlaced or other non Full HD mode that is supported by your monitor.
If you want full HD mode then use Direct3d mode, but with Direct 3d mode you run need 3D vision together with tridef to enable tridef to use quad bufffering. So have stereo enabled in the control panel and then you need to manually set the nvidia separation to 0 in the registry.
For 64 bit OS:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D]
@=""
"StereoSeparation"=dword:00000000
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For 32 bit OS:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D]
@=""
"StereoSeparation"=dword:00000000
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The downside that may be happening with running nvidia stereo and tridef is that you may be using more of your GPU & CPU than if you would be running tridef or nvidia stereo on its own. Also you dont get any fancy right click mouse low separation settings like with eqzitara's helixmods, though you do get a working laser sight and when right clicking to use scopes or iron sights justclose one eye and aim with the laser dot.
I wish there was a better way, I tried looking inside the gamedata/shaders folder and tried disabling things in the console while running the game, but I have no idea what I'm doing in there.

Can anyone please summarize the pros and cons of playing stalker call of pripyat in 3D.
I read in the thread that the you loose a lot of visual quality once you switch of dynamic lighting to play this in 3D properly :(
Any other pointers like what else i could end up loosing ?
And does it really look good in 3D even after turning off the dynamic lighting?
I just finished stalker clear sky in 2D in full glory but i missed the 3D in the game a lot :(
Thanks in advance :)
Hello and sorry for my very late reply! I only saw your message now. So COP with Misery Mod 2.0.2 is amazing but it has heavy stuttering and you cannot snipe in my experience, however you can sight down without scopes. The difference is big even with only static lightning the game is better in 3D then 2D, sadly this helix mod is only a partial fix and there are many issues, I played a few good hours in 3D but then was forced to revert back to 2D due to the above problems. However I'm thinking that now that I finished the game in 2D I'll be enabling 3D for exploring and enjoying the scenery and fight without scopes.

Thanks for the update UB313 :)
Yeah i noticed that the game looks awesome in 3D even with static lighting but there are other issues too which I am facing when playing in 3D.
Seems like have to play this in 2D for time being but this game with misery mod 2.0 alone only is ultra realistic :):)
Great work misery mod team :):)
