Oops, I'm sorry for the bad translation. :p
I use google translation and my limited knowledge of English.
Obviously, I demand nothing, it is very difficult to pass these linguistic nuances from French to English. Many things did not say in the same way.
I would be very careful with the word I use, but the community does not want me if some are clumsy turn of phrase. :)
I will banish "I wante", "i expect" of my English vocabulary ;)
It's difficult, google translated "attendre" which in French just want to say, take your time, let time pass, not to hurry. By "expect"
The community to be sure I require nothing. ;)
Thank you for the comment, I would be very careful.:)

It was just a joke, no need to apologize for your English.
(Mine is far from perfect too, BTW ;) )
I just wanted to disarm any potential misunderstanding, since we, not worthy peasants (people who are too lazy to contribute to the fixing ;) ), need to take care about the mood of our Gods (people who actually do the work which we all benefit from). :)
About The Crew - I'm surprised it's still only game for PCs done in TD:U like "open world" style. I was expecting in 2013 that we'll see a boom in this genre since 4,5GB RAM for a game instead of 400-450MB (PS4 vs. PS3) brings huge improvements for developers creating massive open-world games.
I hope E3 will bring something. Forza Horizon 2 in 60fps and 3D could be good, but even better would be a totally new, highest quality AAA game combining the best driving model (Forza/PGR/GT etc.) with all the good things from TD:U.
We still have no game like TDU, with the charm of TDU but with grapics worthy of year 2015 and with a realy good driving model. The one in TD:U1 was OK, in The Crew we see a step back, and comparing TD:U driving model to a game with a really good one (no matter if sim or 100% arcade) results in very, very low score for TD:U.
I don't get it how it is possible. How can it be that no big company sees the market gap to fill?
Look at Drive Club on PS4. PCs could do this graphics in 60fps in 3D (120fps in total) without breaking a sweat, and yet we have no game with tracks as good looking as those in a game designed for low-end hardware (PS4).
I can't see how a game could avoid becoming a huge success if it had:
- graphics and landscapes on par with DC or better
- 60fps (and 3D of course)
- really good driving model for steering wheel owners (like back in T.O.C.A games from Codemasters - it can be done, you just need to give the gamers two separate driving models - one for steering wheels, and one for joypads/keyboards.
- some great location like O'ahu in Test Drive Unlimited, preferably bigger, but with mandatory beaches, palm trees and things like that. And no stupid filters like in NFS: Rivals. And a weather lock available, so people loving rain could drive in the rain, and people loving sun could drive in the sun.
Such game would bring many millions of protit to the developer, and tons of fun to gamers.
Why we are waiting almost 10 years for such a game? WHY?
And if that wasn't bad enough, I'm too lazy to learn how to, and then fix The Crew, and obviously the guys who can, are busy with more important games/activities. Tough luck..

For the benefit of anyone who doesn't log into UPlay very often... this game is now available for free as part of the Ubi 30 promo https://club.ubisoft.com/en-US/welcome (free to keep, but you need to add it to your UPlay account during the promo).
Not native 3D, but supported by Compatibility Mode out of the box and looks decent enough.

Since es free...i decided to take a quick look at this game. With the help of bo3b, that add a tweak to 3Dmigoto now i can hunt properly...Thanks!!!!
I already fix Shadows, Soft Shadows, Some reflections, sun glare, 2D objects/effects and HUD.
And also need to take a deeper look at the Sky... have some strange behavior (this is the second game with a problematic sky...Grrrr!...who says fix an skybox was easy!!!)
There is another pattern for lights/shadows that need atention....have some decompiler issues.

Yesteday i fix the Sky and the sky clipping on sides. Also fix some 2D effects (dust/smoke on streets) and the white outline in the map.
I think the only thing remaining is the other pattern for shadows/lights that i need bo3b take a look (have decompiler issues).
Game looks very nice and is indeed very fun:
