Selling a Optoma HD66 Projector [3D Vision Capable]
USA ONLY! I went to a different display a while ago and didn't consider selling my old projector till now. Projector is the best 720P 3D display on the market. Was purchased this year. I am including 2 additional lamps [one is used and one has only been tested but not really used]. I am only listing it as 1 additional lamp in case something happens since rarely lamps can die prematurely. This is a 3D vision ready display meaning you can use 3D Vision glasses and emitter [not included]. Anywho check it out here if interested. @eqzitara I'd personally keep the PJ for a back up or use it for TV viewing to save wear and tear on the new one.

Guess I missed something. @neal0790 Benq W1070. Fantastic 2D display. Though to be frank not as great of a 3D Display as a native 720p 3D display especially since can't use 3d vision emitter/glasses without edid override [which messes up you colors/contrast]. DLP glasses are kind of meh in comparison as well. @d-man11 I would of kept it for just 3D usage since its even better then current one from a 3D stand point but my set up makes it much to inconvenient to do so. The lamps in the display are dirt cheap as well [like $90-$100] but still too inconvenient. Also with money earned I could just get an extended warranty. So wear and tear is not really an issue.

You 3D experience doesnt sound very promising tho.

I have the 1080ST, while not having the contrast/saturation/brightness of my Sammy 720P native Plasma with the right glasses and room light control the Benq is still a keeper. However between it and the box that drives it I require a fan and/or AC in the room with it (gets to warm) I tend not to play it much in the summer time.

TBH, I dont think anything comes close to the 720P native 3D projectors for 720P 3D content. So if your getting a 1080P projector can throw out the window it being better then current for 3D. Anywho, you should keep the acer regardless. Like maybe you'd get $270 for it but to be frank the lamps are half the price. You'd make your money saved in 2/3 lamps swaps. Its alot better of a 3d display. I am basically selling mine just cause I only have one spot and I cant keep switching them out. -------------- Though its strange your looking for a 1080st when you have an acer h5360 One is short throw. the other is long throw. Meaning that if you put it in same spot. The screen size will be ALOT bigger. The 1080W is the same thow. I think it gives a tiny bit bigger of a screen size from same position [like maybe 10%]. Need to google a throw distance calculator for more info though.

Compared to my acer i can get almost double the screen size at the same distance. I love my acer for the 3D but the 2d looks horrible to me. Its okay for console games, but for pc games that i know can look better i just dont like playing in 720p especially on a big screen. I will have to keep my acer then when i buy the 1080st to compare the 3D. But honestly i was hopeing to use the 3D of the 1080st because its just such a larger screen. 3D makes up for the 720p res.
