3D decreasing FPS by 40-60% FRAME RATE DROPPING NOOOOOO!!!!!!
Okay, i am a CSS fan and i noticed with my 6600 256mb card that i get about 85-90 fps with out the stereo. Sometimes i get even more but lets say thats a average. Now when i turn on the 71.89 combo drivers or any other for that matter my F.P.S drop to 30-40. WHAT GIVES!

Well, dude it's like this - everything gets rendered twice, so it's normal for the fps to drop, so chill :)

The average fps drop is 20-30%. The only thing that I can think of is that maybe your STEREO refresh rate is set to 60, hence your fps will show 30 in stereo.

You can force higher stereo refresh rates in stereo control panel.

You might also try disabling all special effects, advanced shaders and lighting etc, then try again to see if you get the 50-60% fps drop. If not, then some shaders will be using software rendering, which will be causign the massive performance drain. Best to isolate these, and dissable from the cofig files.

Yes. Unless you''re computer is godly, you have to give up some or a lot of the effects and eye candy. Try locking the refresh rate and see of that helps.

YEAH, i lock my refresh rate to 120Hz cause i use a widescreen visual for the game. I also have tried disable the high dynamics of the game still not helping. Is there to be a seperate rate for the stereo and a higher for your display.
