NVCP ''select when the display is in 3d mode'' Option missing
I realized after installing the latest Driver 361.43, that after enabling 3D I don't have the Dropdown to set ''only while 3D programs run''.
I've had this Monitor for 2.5 years and always had the Dropdown after I setup 3D.
I just installed Windows 10 like a Month ago or so, and this is the first time I enabled 3D, so I don't know if it has anything to do with that.
I've completely deinstalled and reinstalled with several reboots inbetween like 3 or 4 times now and also rolled back to 359.06 and it just won't pop up.
I've googled some similar issues, but haven't found a solution.
Just to point out, I successfully enabled 3D, however now that i can't set only while 3D programs run, 3D doesn't turn on when I launch a Game or wanna watch a Movie in 3D...

You should never "roll back" the driver via device manager, at least, that's what Nvidia says.
When installing drivers, it's highly recommended to use a driver sweeper with the recent installation problems that many seem to encounter. DDU is highly recommended and has solved issues for many.

Actually I'm convinced it doesn't have anything to do with the Driver as I have now tried different Versions now. I'm guessing it could have to do with Windows 10?

We have several members of the community using Windows 10 successfully with 3D Vision.
I'm not sure though, that we have any using 3 way SLI using Windows 10 and 3D Vision.
Perhaps try removing a GPU or dedicating it to PhysX, although removing would probably be the better option for troubleshooting.
If that fixes it, file a driver bug report.
Due to how WDDM 2.0 works (and the native stereo support) the drop-down doesn't exist anymore under Windows 10.
As a result the 3D driver is set to "When 3D Application run" option equivalent from Windows 7/8 to allow both Window Mode & Fulscreen Apps to run in 3D Vision.
Edit: There is a link somewhere where I found this information a couple of months ago. If I'll find it I'll paste it here.

Ok thx, good to know, I'm relieved!
I was only trying with one GPU to enable stereoscopic 3D, which is standard after a fresh driver install anyway, before activating the other two Cards.
So the thing is, I tried Launching GTA V in 3D the other Day and even though I have it set to 3D in-game, it just wouldn't switch on when I launched, is there a Hotkey i should/could be using now?

GTAV is a bit hit and miss until you get the hang of it;)
Basically you need: Fullscreen and enable the 3D Setting in the game option. When the game asks to restart accept. It should restart and 3D Vision should kick in.

A couple thoughts, not sure if it applies to you or not... Does Ctrl+T enable 3D when in-game/movie? There's a Registry Setting StereoDefaultOn... you can Set it to 1 to Enable 3D at Start and 0 to Disable it at Start.

Well I already had it set to 3D ingame so what i did was disable - do the requested restart and once back in-game enabled it again and did the requested restart again - nothing.
Thing is it worked every time in W7 when i was able to set the dropdown to only when 3d program runs (in fullscreen) as i believe i had it set to.
I also tried ctrl + T and shift + ctrl + f11 as in the andvanced hotkey settings, but neither worked.

Hi, I gave it a quick look but I couldn't find it... I think is in one of the initial driver releases threads for Windows 10. I do know reading that.
As related to Windows 10 and GTAV, I have no problem with the game running in 3D once you manage to get it working initially.
