Crysis Excelent Stero 3d support ?
Sims2, in the 3D Stereo Panel, show "1" /excelent for rating and compatability,
and it turn out that its actually not working at all.

Crysis is listed also with excelent support but with a few noted problems.
Well, those problems in my view make the game unplayable, and there is allot more then whats listed in the "3d strereo panel"...
How did that game receive a Excelent rating when its near unplayable with the constant and countless stereo anomaly? (using the low quality level recommanded settings)

I also tried COD4, also desapointing with the amount of visual errors.

Good news, many old games seem to work wonder.

So It seem that anything that do more then render simple triangle is not working right... That rule out Unreal Tournament III, Rainbow Six Vegas II, ...

I'm going to try Half life 2 next ...

I'm looking for a suggestion for a killer 3d game that work in stereo , any suggestions ?

Stephan

Try Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. You will need to use the NVIDIA lasersight, but see what you think. This is using their 174.76 Vista release.

There are screen shots here:

Older killer game in stereo.. I'm guessing you are using shutters and a crt? Try Far Cry it looks great in S3D, Quake 3 looks decent, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, and Psychonauts is pretty crazy in S3D.

The new nvidia 3d driver sucks on Crysis. You have to set many options down (must turn shadows and motion-blur off!) and shader/post-processing to medium (you lose all the nice effects). Crysis looks absolutely horrible with these settings. Even the original Far Cry will look better than Crysis with so many options on low/medium. Very disappointing. Its even more disappointing when I know how good Crysis can look in 3d. With the VR920 and Vuzix-stereo drivers, I can run Crysis with all settings on High and it looks fantastic (no glitches, HUD is fine, shaders+shadows work). What a shame.

If you are looking for some really good stereo w/ the new drivers, try the GRID racing demo. That game looks fantastic with the nvidia driver, very good 3d effects.

I intended to make screen shots with the NVIDIA drivers too, but the screencap doesn't work in Oblivion because it conflicts with the Oblivion key mapping - and I can't figure out how to change it.

Regardless, the image quality should be near identical between the iZ3D and NVIDIA solution, with the exception that the NVIDIA driver requires you to use the NVIDIA lasersight for cross-hair accuracy.
