ASUS VG278HE + 3D vision 2 kit problems
Hi! Im fed up with trying without success and cant find anything online that will help. Running the wizard: I get the red OSD text "Warning, trying to run stereostopic 3D in non-stereo... etc" at the screen were i'm suppose to turn on the glases. I ignore the text and press next, getting to the page where i am suppose to see either a hexagon in one eye and triangle in the other. Works fine if i turn glasses upside down but wizard fails if have the glasses on the right way. Any suggestions? Tried new drivers etc, rebooted, different USB-input. Do i need to have the cable, with a 3.5mm plug in one end and a looks like an s-video in the other, plugged in as well, and where if so? Ive unplugged any other screens/tv and my vg278he is number 1 / main screen. Thankful for any advices and help! Try rolling back to driver 320.49. That is a known good driver with fewer problems than recent stuff. Make sure your monitor is being recognized by the NVidia Control Panel as the VG278he. If it thinks your monitor is not right, it will use funny resolutions. Be certain to use the DVI cable _not_ HDMI to monitor. HDMI is a joke and does not have enough bandwidth to work properly at 1080p@120hz. The 3 pin VESA cable is not necessary with this monitor. It's only used to sync the pyramid to an external signal. In this case, the signal comes over USB.

Thanks for you reply. Tried the drivers 320.49 but no difference, but i didnt have time for clean drivers install now so ill try that tomorrow. Im using the Dual link dvi cable yes without any adapters, straight from the box with the screen, and it works fine since i can run 144Hz. The nvidida control panel recognizes the screens as "Ancor communications inc ASUS VG278HE" so that's good i guess but as generic in device manager. And in 3D stereoscopic wizards it's recognized as "ASUS 120HZ 3D LCD" only. I can live with having the darn glasses up side down, but the red osd text is driving me nuts, can i just remove it somehow? :)

Still didn't help. Also have tried installing custom driver with Power Strip etc. No succes there either. EDIT: Installed Windows 8.1 (was running win 7) and it worked like a charm directly...
