3D Vision 258.69 Driver - Not working. Warning: attempt to run Stereoscopic 3D in non-stereo display
Hello, I just installed the latest beta 3D vision driver (258.69) and the 3D vision doesn't work regardless of the 3D application I try to run.

When trying to play any game in 3D Vision stereo mode I get the following error:
Warning: attempt to run Stereoscopic 3D in non-stereo display mode, please change to acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes.
I also went through some of the errors other users have reported such as:
NvAPI_Stereo_IsActivated() returned 0 after stereo was enabled by default with Settings->setDefaultStartupMode(true)..
I am using a single display configuration with my Samsung 2233RZ. I am using the standard Dual Link DVI cable that came with the monitor as well.

Fixed it. I think it was user error, but I am not sure.

At first I tried installing from this package:

NVIDIA_3D_Vision_CD_v1.31_WinVista_Win7_English.zip

After many attempts I realized that the display driver was an older version but the stereo was in fact the new 258.69.

I then uninstalled both drivers and installed freshly downloaded individual packages:

258.69_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_english_beta.exe

and

NVIDIA_3D_Vision_v258.69_driver.exe

After I did that it worked perfectly. /pinch.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':pinch:' /> :D

So for all of you having this conflict, make sure your stereo and display driver are the same version, haha. /haha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':haha:' />
