They might have copied old gamelist entries into a new one or it might simply be that avp2 is supported by 3d-vision. I assume that older games 3d-support (pre dx9) support is gone with 3d-vision. After a brief check i can see that it seems like avp2 uses dx8. Then it should actually work with the iz3d driver! I get back when i found my game discs!! :P
It could also be that vista/win7 has problems with the game. Have you tried altering compability mode for the game? (dunno how 3d-vision reacts to this though....)
And yes: Avp2 (+ tribal hunt expansion which is sort of meh...) was perfectly supported using the old school nvidiadrivers. Those drivers also supported a numerous of different 3d-devices where anaglyph was only one.
Edit: It doesn't work with the iz3d driver either. Whatta bummer. :(

Well, AVP2 rocks on Vista 32, but doesn't rock on W7. Considering the fact that 3D Vision drivers don't work very well on Vista I've tried the following solution: I log in on W7 ( I have a multi-boot sistem: XP/VISTA/W7/Linux64), and play AVP2 from Vista's partition. AVP2 works perfectly like that on W7, but I have to turn 3D vision off first, otherwise the game doesn't load...It's pretty much the same thing on Vista system: you might play the game, but you have to turn 3D vision first; can you keep contact with some engineer from Nvidia to solve this mistery?
