Nvidia Vision 3D Glasses Version 3
How bout a new model of glasses Nvidia? I would like a remote built in to the glasses that lets you press them on the handles to turn the 3D effects off/on, depth, and convergeance levels. What say ye?

I'd rather push buttons on my keyboard...where my hands already are - than reach up to my face and try and adjust buttons I couldn't see.

I would like to see materials used with a matt finish.
I would like to see materials used with a matt finish.

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I'd like them to get rid of those pegs-of-pain that get you behind the ears if wearing headphones. My God do they hurt after a couple of hours. Fortunately, I seem to have built up calluses behind my ears where they rest... Strange place for calluses, but hey...

There is no future in 3D through Active or Passive glasses and NVidia know about it. Head Mounted Virtual Reality Devices and Holografic Projectors are on the way. Third generation of 3D Vision will not be based on glasses like we use to known. Game developers still will be making games with two separated views becouse they will work in future devices where picture will be created for both eyes independetly.

I've used 2 different headsets with my 3D glasses and neither have caused the 'pegs of pain' to kick in. Both headsets are Turtle Beach, DPX21 and the Z6. Both are comfortable enough to wear all day even with the glasses.
I would like to see materials used with a matt finish.
They actually did update the 3d vision 2 glasses. I bought a kit at release too and was bothered by the reflective material around the lenses. I bought a new kit a month or so ago and the plastic around the lenses is a matte finish now. It looks much better.

I use a pair of ATH-AD900 headphones, which don't really squeeze that hard at all. Resting the glasses' arms on the top of the cups works alright. But I really do have calluses now, and the horrible pain I used to feel is gone. Weird. Or maybe my skull really did reshape itself, and I'm becoming one with my computer gear... :)

Seeing how 3D Vision gets less and less support, I'd say that a 3rd version won't be made. I'm really sad because of that, I really like playing in 3D.
