So for whatever reason, after I finish playing a 3D application or game and quit it, the emitter doesn't turn off and I am locked out of monitor controls much like if it thought it was still doing 3D (which means lightboost is stuck on and I cannot adjust any of the picture settings).
I have the stereoscopic 3D to only run while 3D applications are running, and I have even tried turning 3D mode off entirely from the control pane. The only way I have found to get the monitor back into normal mode is to disconnect the DVI cable and then reconnect it.
I am not sure if this is a driver issue or a monitor issue, and if its a driver issue I read something about a problem with running a secondary (non 3d) monitor alongside the primary 3d one. I am hoping someone here can tell me what the problem is and if there is a way to fix it.
Thank you very much!

Disconnecting the DVI cable works? I always just reboot. Logoff occasonally works.
Yeah, this happens with some games. It happens even more often when games crash so I'm guessing the games aren't shutting down the graphics correctly. (VERY much a guess - please take with 2 pounds of salt.)

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.
