This is my favorite showpiece for 3D vision.
This is a really trippy demo (rendered in DX) called The Golden Path that I originally found here on the 3D Vision forums. I like to show it to friends new to 3D because it's like a punch in the face for displaying the awesomeness that stereoscopy can bring out in our media.

You need to set the Depth level in 3D Vision to between 7% and 10%. 10 is strongest without separating too much, and 7 is lowest without losing the depth effect. The depth is actually very nice but the window for it is very small. You can probably get a larger depth window to play around with by tinkering with convergence, but I just use default convergence and 9% depth.

The music goes very well with the visuals, overall a very positive colorful experience and reacts well with 3D Vision.

Yeah, there are some screen-depth effects, but nothing too noticeable to the untrained noob. Who is ALWAYS blown away by this demo, I love it.
