Not a single press release about it at AMD's website, DA2's official website is messy as hell and does not mention AMd HD3D in the minimum specs, the only mention about an AMD/Bioware partnership is AMD's DX11 partner program.
Considering how Bioware has been shutting down any Stereo 3D requests on their forums, I consider it's just a journalist mistake.
It seems they have been confused by AMD's marketing slides : they put big blockbuster games in their slides when these games luckyly workwith Eyefinity and with DDD and/or iZ3D stereoscopic drivers. It does not mean they are partners, just that it works. A bit like when Nvidia claims to have compatibility with hundreds of games but only less than a dozen are actually 3D vision-ready partners and completely bug-free.
According to AMD's press blog, it seems Dragon-age 2 will have great Eyefinity-5 compatibility but there is not a single official word about Dragon-age 2 and HD3D.

After playing the pc version of the demo.. The 3d was just so bad.. Ghosting .. Way too much pop out.
This and the no controller support made me pass on the pc version and picked it up instead for my xbox 360.
I am using the 2d to 3d conversion on my samsung 3dtv.. And wow it actually does a great job.
I'm not sure of the tech behind how this conversion is done .. But it actually is impressive.
If you have a 3dtv with this type of convertion.. I highly recommend playing the game this way.
The game runs Smooth on the 360 ... And the 2 hours or so that I have put into the game is really enjoyable so far..

Very sad - this is the first time Bioware truly disapointed me, sigh. Dumbed down console game, absolutely zero rpg value... I'd rate s3d as 2 out of 10, even orginal game with some tweaks to convergence looked much better. Dont buy - wait for reviews, read forums etc. My 2 cents.

Until they make this work better with stereo 3D, I will not buy it!
Also give us the option of using game controller natively!

You don't need a game controller. It's not designed for that. Get the console if you want a game controller. They don't have Auto-attack.
This is disappointing. I played the demo and wasn't a fan of the simplification, but as another poster pointed out, it might just be about expectations. If you go in thinking DA1, you'll be frustrated at the lack of control. However, if you think about KotoR, then you'll be immediately comfortable.
However, poor 3D support is a deal breaker for me. The demo looked and ran horribly in 3D and these posts only confirm that nothing has changed with the release :( Looks like I will at least be postponing this purchase. Thanks to all those who have tried the game out and let us know, though!
