BTW, I'm running the new beta drivers from last week (196.34?) I saw posted in the non-3DVision news. They didn't come w/ a 3DVision driver so I used the one from the CD 1.20 along w/ the beta GPU drivers. Seems to be working fine in limited testing, but I don't have an SLI rig to check out that aspect. Just wanted to let people know I got 3DVision working with beta GPU drivers matched to the current 3DV driver...

Ug, not so much tonight. Had a power failure and on reboot, my Mitsu 60" DLP not recognized, generic DLP, CRT, etc were only choices. Try to system restore to working condition last night, but its caught in reboot hell now- won't get past the Windows start screen on restore reboot. Urgh! So I should be able to recover and reintall older driver, but take heed my earlier report was premature. Sorry if I jumped the gun. Hope new drivers w/ 3DVision accompanying are coming soon. I like to run OC settings on my GPU which are especially usedul in S3D, so new drivers with this feature "unbroken" will be most welcome.

the current 1.2 drivers work in quad sli for me in the RE5 benchmark demo- in both direct x 9 and 10. in batman quad sli does not work- 2 gpu temps stay at idle. can anyone recommend games that have benchmarks built in so i can do more testing? thanks

System:

Intel I7 920 overclocked to 4ghz

Asus Rampage Extreme II

2 Ge-force 480 in SLI

GTX 295 PhysX Card

12gb ddr3 2000mhz ram

Intel SSD in RAID 0

BR RW

1000w Sony surround sound

NVIDIA 3D Vision

3d displays tested:

Mitsubishi 65" DLP 3d HDTV (good old 1080p checkerboard since 2007!!!)

Panasonic VT25 (nice 2d but I returned it due to cross talk)

Acer H5360 720p on 130" screen (the best 3d)

23" Acer LCD monitor (horrible cross talk- sold it)

Samsung 65D8000

Daniel dont bother i have done some really thorough testing with these drivers and quad sli def does not work. Only DX10 titles seem to be utilising quad sli, like RE 5, Gears of war, Devil may cry 4, far cry 2. I can confirm these games work well in quad sli, but i can garantee you that no DX 9 title will work. Trust me i have tried everything.

Andrew said he would have an update mid week, still waiting for him to reply to this thread....

Okay, now I'm getting repeated BSOD on attempted restarts. NTFS.sys, "page fault in a non-page area" or something along those lines. I know this isn't a general Vista troubleshooting area, but anyone have any tips for me to try? Off to google...

thanks for the heads up. I would like to get some games that have built in benchmarks so i can test the upcoming drivers. any recommendations? i have crysis, batman, re5 demo benchmark and some olde rgames. have you tried the re5 benchmark demo? dx9 quad sli is working on my system in 3d (less frames than dx10 though). gpu temps and frame rate confirm this.

Hi there, Im excited to hear 3-way SLI/quad sli support i dont know why so many people are bitching, anyways I hear alot about Quad SLI but what about 3-way SLI?

How can I help to determine if it works, I'll try some games tonight and see if the green bar goes full before it would stay around the middle and not move at all meaning it didnt work.

Anyone else have any 3-way SLI news on if it works or not?

Hi Guys,

I'd like to update, I have tried several games in 3-way SLI mode, I have always left this mode on as 3D visoin always worked but never gave the performance 3-way SLI would. I didnt mind to much as my GTX 280 (just 1) gave pretty good performance for most games but after playing avatar and even COD MW2 with supersampling on it can be seen that 3-way SLI is needed. On top of that I will be buying the Acer GD235HZ soon.

Anyways the update is this:

Whenever I ran a game before (any driver), my sli bar would always be the same length about less than a pinky finger in length (starting from the middle of course).

This is the same in this current driver also, for any game I have yet to find a game that works. Can someone tell me one that does so I can test it out?

At the moment If i turn off 3dvision via the button, the 3-way SLI bar goes completely full and when I turn it back on, back to the same mid point.

Thats my update I hope Nvidia gets this right by the next WHQL driver!
