Two little Star Wars games for die hard fans
Hello people.

While I started this post, I asked myself if it would be a breaching of copyright. I don't know the answer, so I will leave it to the moderators as afaik George Lucas is too obsessed (tight perhaps - I don't know a better word, English second) about the franchise. Educated guess is they are fan-made freeware so shouldn't be a problem.

Searching these forums I found nothing about these 2 games called Battle of Endor v2.1 and Battle of Yavin v1.1 which I enjoyed playing (still do :) ). The author is R.Bruno Marcos. The games are freeware and written on Truevision3d engine.

Requirements are:
BoY: Microsoft® Windows® XP/Vista/7. Processor: 1.5 Ghz. DirectX 8.1 or higher. Memory 1Gb. Hard disk space: 10.3Mb.
BoE: Microsoft® Windows® XP/Vista/7. Processor: 1.5 Ghz. DirectX 8.1 or higher. Memory 1Gb. Hard disk space: 16.7Mb.

Easy enough, eh?

You can download them from the authors site, just google the games or the author (not sure if I am allowed to give a direct link, have to read the rules). If you do so, make sure you download the patches by TMaster_Syrus too (Graphics/sound upgrade, worth it. Same page just beneath the requirements).

Couple of remarks:
- Works on Windows 7 x64, make sure you install it in the default directory. For 64-bit in the Program Files (64-bit program files, not x86 even if the games are 32-bit, needed for the patches to work).
- Doesn't like SLI (no need anyway), just turn it off.
- Doesn't have a profile. Adjust depth/convergence as usual.
- Crosshair is double sighted, use Nvidia 3d crosshair.
- I couldn't get it to work higher than the resolutions listed even there is a config file.
- Takes like 15-20 minutes to finish all 6 stages. No save option, not needed anyway.

Enjoy!

Edit: Don't forget to check for malware if you choose to download! And deny internet access if they ask, they don't need it.
