Zelda Breath of the Wild 3D Vision Fix (Depth map based)

Duerf - I have very close to your setup and get fairly smooth gameplay 30-40 (60 in shrines) occasional drops to 20-25. Did you download a shader cache? It will be stuttering if your system has to create its own as you play. Your GPU will barely even turn on until you go 4k +, im running 5120 × 2880.

And yes, I am using a shader cache of 55.556 Kb (2912eb2f.bin). EDIT: installed 387.92 and no difference in fps.

If any it should be on the stuttering.

I have between 25-30 fps, but if I use "Cheat Engine" and enable "Speedhack" option and reduce speed to 0.6 (for example) the game run more or less at the same speed but I get 50-60 fps.

Better not to use cheat engine. I get 60 constant fps in interiors and 20-35 in exterior (I have played only a couple of hours at the begining). I play in 4K, but I can not use 3D (at least with CEMU 1.10 becuase convergence is locked and there is no sense of depth). I can continue playing this game (and I will), but it would be awesome with only 10-15 more fps. This is an opengl emulation, so I suppose it has no sense to activate g-sync in Nvidia CP, even if I could get always more than 30 fps. I am not totally sure but I think g-sync only works with directx games.

Hi guys, sorry if this info is already somewhere in the thread, I did not read it all. Just a question, as this fix is just a depth map is there an option to get rid of 3D Vision and use only the depth map in side by side mode? I am currently using 3DTV Play and I think it might be better to run this game on SBS mode in 1080p. Also might get some performance improvements taking 3D Vision out of the equation. Any recommendations what the best option for this one for me on 3DTV Play vs some other options if available?

Hey guys, I'm a bit late to the party. I can get the game running in vanilla cemu but it only renders a grey screen when I apply the fix (I still get audio). I've tried different graphics packs / DepthBuffer setting combos, all with the same results. Any ideas on what might be causing this? Using GTX970 on latest Win10.

I'm displaying the game through my projector so the depth might not be high enough for smaller displays but it can be adjusted. Now before you get to excited this is not using real 3D geometry like most of the fixes on helixmod. It's using a depthmap based solution similar to Nvidia's 3d compatibility mode. That being said, I think it looks incredible, the screenshots should speak for themselves. The game is running on the Cemu Wii U emulator. The shader is based off of Crytek's Stereo 3d Shader, the same one that BlueSkyDefender also used in his SuperDepth3D shader he made for Reshade. 3DVision injection is done using Helifax's OpenGL wrapper + Reshade. The depth map had to be properly linearized so that the Stereo 3d shader would work properly. Normally linearizing the depth map would be done using a standard linearization equation for OpenGL. Unfortunately though things were not that simple since I don't have access to the near and far clip plane values. I could use static values but BOTW uses dynamic clipping planes in order to maximize the precision of it's depth map and avoid artifacts like z-fighting. The near and far camera clipping planes shift depending on things like camera angles and the objects that are inside it's view frustrum. This causes the depth map to shift it's values which in turn causes the final stereoscopic image to sporadically alter it's depth. So using static values makes the stereo images jump around like a squirrel on meth. A leaf suddenly blowing across the screen or grass billowing in the wind is enough to induce a seizure. If i had access to the projection matrix i could calculate the clipping plane values fairly easily but all I have to work with are the contents of the depth buffer. So instead i resorted to calculating the clip plane values by taking samples of the current depth buffer, samples from the previous buffer, filtering results and making a few educated guesses. Overall the method works very well. I still have a few things that need to be tweaked but i should be posting a fix within the next few days. I would also like to remove the need to use Reshade and only use Helifax's wrapper since Reshade breaks a few minor things and has a bit of performance overhead. The screenshot's were taken at 1440p since that's as high as my projector can go using DSR, but with a bit more work i should be able to get 4k+ down sampling to work. Also keep in mind that Cemu is still being developed and is very CPU bound in it's current version. Unless your CPU runs at 4.5Ghz or higher the game isn't going to run very well.[/quote] Hi sgsrules, thanks for your superb great works! May I ask if it is possible to use the same principle to create 3D Vision hack for WiiU Xenoblade Chronicles X for CEMU as well? I played the prequel of this game (Xenoblade Chronicles) by Dolpin in 3D Vision and it is the best yet RPG I have ever played. I really wish to know if it is possible. Thanks to Sgsrules and Helifax !!! I succeed in installing 3D fix on CEMU 1.11.6. Whaow ! At first glance, it works very well! Bravo;) But to look closely, I've got problems of depths on the ground. The ground is sometimes like waves, distant elements of grass closer than they should. Or like a paper theatre. And I do not think I saw that problem on the Helifax's videos, nor in the JPS. I use no cemuhook or other graphikpack, otherwise the 3D does not work. I have the drivers nvidia 397.64. So I put a little video that shows the ground problem: https://www.youtube.com/embed/KT5T3yPCthE?rel=0 (better download and see with nvidia 3D Video player with klite codecs) If anyone had an idea ...

If anyone had an idea ...

Youre going to want to get on CEMU 12.0 or 12.1 as fast as you can as it brought quite a performance boost over 11.6
