Disable profile overlay by default Wondering if there's any way to disable the 3d vision overlay
I'm beaming 3d Vision over wireless HDMI to my 3d tv upstairs. where I do a lot of couch gaming. I generally use a few iPhone apps to remote access my pc to launch games, act as a mouse pointer, etc. (the range is a bit far for most wireless keyboards/mice and the last thing I need is another gadget laying around the living room).
For whatever reason on the two apps I use (HippoRemote and RemoteHD), Ctrl-T, Ctrl-Alt-Insert, etc have zero effect on the 3d vision overlay. Both applications have virtual keyboards and support macros which all work fine with everything else in Windows, but the keystrokes seem to be completely ignored by the Nvidia drivers. I've tried remapping these to different hotkeys without luck. It seems as though the 3d vision drivers want the hotkeys to be coming directly from a keyboard.
I'm sure I can dig around and find another way to send these keystrokes (maybe trigger something through EventGhost), but is there anyway to just disable these overlays altogether?

You can change them in the nividia control panel...
Just change the keyboard shortcuts to one...

I've tried the simplest shortcuts possible, and it seems to completely ignore them. I have a feeling the nvidia driver is only listening for input specifically from a keyboard, physical keystrokes probably register differently at a system level than macros or key commands being emulated from an application.
The helixmod looks like it will do the trick though.
