Hydrophobia 3D?
  1 / 2
Has anyone tried this game in 3D? I heard its kinda mediocre gameplay-wise, but Id pick it up if the 3D support is good. The large focus on water has me doubting its compatibility tho since water reflections seem to be off in every game i try.

Same here. Blurry and lots of double image wierd stuff going on. Maybe the next driver update will create a profile for it. Game so far is a little disappointing too. I was following the steam forum where the developers were very involved, so I bought the game. So far not that great. Especially in 3D.

Mike_ar69 has done a pretty dam good job with it. I have played enough to say that it's pretty good in 3D with his fix. Follow the instructions carefully, without the fix it is entire mess. See TsaebehT post above for the link to the fix. Cheers

I played about 40 minutes over the weekend. How old is this game? I wasn't thinking it is that old, but man, the graphics are a lot worse than I was expecting based on screenshots. The closest comparison I could think of (in style and 'age') was Mass Effect, but seems like Mass Effect was still much better looking. Story seems compelling enough, but gameplay was not great. Not sure I'll ever finish it. But thanks very much for the fix and the detailed install instructions!

So that's a total of 120 min? Heh. It was released 2011ish, originally it was an XBLA game ... what do you want for 84c(or free if you were able to nab the key)!? Lol. :) IIRC it's all about the water/water physics. I didn't actually get to playing it much and never played it previously in 2D, I've been playing Psychonauts with bo3b's fix lately because whenever I get a chance to play there's babies present ... kinda puts a damper on my favorite genres, horror/survival/action, ... but they're more than worth it. :)

^^^ Heh heh, yeah, I was having trouble with the forum this morning. I bought it for 84c, so yeah, not like I wasted any money. I TOTALLY get what you're saying about playing opportunities... I still haven't even been able to finish Mass Effect 2 yet because of it and it's killing me LOL.

Looks like you're still having troubles. Heh. I think I was having the same troubles, when I posted earlier it just went to a white screen, I hit back, selected and copied my message in case it got lost and hit refresh and it was already posted. Yeah I have the whole Trilogy and have yet to even start the first ... I think eqzitara just broke out in a cold sweat! Lol. In my defense on that one though there isn't native controller support and I'm a '3DPC is a just a glorified 3D console*' kinda guy ... either way though so many great 3D games so little time ... *with extreme tweaking perks!!!

I used to hate controllers, but I started using one in Batman Arkham Asylum and never looked back since. Now I can't hardly stand to play a game without controller support.

ME3 ant bad, the ending thing was kind of blown out or proportion and they reworked ending fine. If you enjoyed ME2 then theres no reason not to, imo. TBH only like real good RPGS in last like 10+ years are Witcher/Dragon Age/Mass Effect can't afford to turn down either if your a pc gamer. Good rpgs are few and far in between.
