Confused: is there a Helix DX11 wrapper?
^ He's right. I just tried sli/non-sli. Not sure whats with UE3 and reflections... Kind of strange. Since Ive seen 2 games before where SLI had right reflections and non-sli had 2D. Non-sli's were actually pretty close to accurate before fix [which is odd considering the rest of the game]. Though tbh, if reflections are limited to those areas it doesnt sound too huge.
Confirmed. With SLI off no problems with water reflections in these areas. Frustum clipping problem also seems worse with SLI. For remainder of game I am using SLI, get much better framerates using GTX690. Use 1.5" black construction paper taped to R side of monitor to mitigate frustum clipping problems.
Yes I am using the latest one from pg. 11 date of .dll is 08-10-2013, 12:31 am Are u using SLI? I am.
Ah, no SLI for me. I was wondering, since I had not played that section since the first patch and assumed it was fixed since the rest of the game was near perfect but for a few very minor lighting bits. Must be SLI, though. Construction paper. Funny, but hey, whatever works, right? Could be -=HeliX=- is working on these issues, hence the blog post delay...

Having some weird issues here where I can't set the convergence and the lighting is way off ... scenes too dark, dynamic lighting not being visible unless I get very close to the objects, etc. Anyone else seeing this? Catch might be that I'm on a GTX 295 SLI. Not sure if this has something to do with DX11 problems.

It kind of sucks to tell you this but I'm 90% sure your running the game in DX10. Your card is very old and is pre DX11 hardware. Im going to sound like a jerk but Im kind of surprised you can even run the game.

Not offended at all, I was kind of surprised myself, which is why I mentioned it. Amazing how much mileage I've gotten out of the card tho. Crazy that a 1000 dollar card 4 years later is only twice as fast in benchmarks.

I got the game on Amazon for $20 and I just put in my first 2 hours. It was mesmerizing! I don't think I advanced very far. I was so immersed (thanks to 3D and Helix) and so in awe of what was going on around me that I soaked in every step and every angle. The 3D quality was 99%. The only issue I had was the game crashed once about a minute after I got the first Vigor. Probably unrelated to this mod though. 560Ti, 3DTV Play on H5360BD. Anyway, this game was borderline for me when it came out. If it had good 3D at the start, I would have bought it then. Without 3D, I wasn't very interested in putting my time into it, though I was a little curious. Based on my first 2 hours tonight, I can say that I probably significantly underestimated the game. I can also say that I'm glad I was oblivious enough to be content to wait until I could play it in 3D!

I really don't understand why Helix doesn't posted his patch for BI on http://helixmod.blogspot.ru/. His patch much, much better than patch from Chiri. And don'n understand why patch from Chiri about 100 mb while fix from Helix no more 1mb and far better. Helix surely a genius.

anamezon- I think HeliX will have it posted when he thinks it's ready. If 99% is good enough for you, just download the patch on page 11 of this thread and don't worry about anything else. If you don't understand why Chiri's patch is 100 mb (I don't either), let's not criticize it.

Im not going to criticize it. I'm actually very grateful to Chiri and support his work. This is great that there are such people.

Thanks so much. I'll let it sit and play some other Helix ready games. Thanks for your Castlevania fix. Was having so many blurry textures with the other fix with the Aion profile. Also, wow with the auto converge settings on the book. Thats AWESOME!
