1. Turn on NVIDIA crosshair in game.
2. Start running up towards an enemy while the NVIDIA crosshair is fixed on an enemy.
3. Once you get super close to the enemy back away and get close again while the enemy attaks you.
By now the NVIDIA crosshair should break. Instead of the NVIDIA crosshair being centered on the enemy, it ends up rendering at the same screen depth the normal 2D crosshair would render at.
I attached two screenshots I modified in photoshop to show you the problem.
working.jps shows what I see when everything works properly.
broken.jps shows what I see when the crosshair breaks. If I turn off the crosshair, turn off 3D vision and reload my game the nvidia crosshair begins working properly again.
UPDATE: Seems to only be happening in combat mode, once you're out of combat mode for a while the nvidia crosshair works again.

Thanks for the details. I cannot view your pics. Can you create an account on 3DVisionlive.com and send me the links to the pics?

Sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language but i'll try my best. /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Well anyway, since today i own a Panasonic VT 30 50-Inch 3D PLasma TV. And i love it.
I also have a PC with an GTX 570 ( Zotac) installed, also in there are 8 GB of Ram and a quadcore processor with 2,83 GHZ.
I also own a copy of Skyrim for PC.
My Question is:
How the heck, can i play Skyrim in stereoscopic 3d? I thought my card could do this? Do i need that nvidia 3d kit?
I also tried playing Crysis 2 in 3d. Here you could choose the 3d option in the menue, wich produced the typical interlaced picture for stereoscopic 3d.
The only problem is, that my 3d glassen doesnt seem to work with the 3d mode of the game.

check out andrew's sig maybe that can answer some of the basics....basically you need 3D capable card which you have, Nvidia 3D glasses, emitter and 3D monitor. Run 3D wizard in Nvidia control panel and your on your way...

I've played for about 4 hours now and think the 3d is very impressive. There are some flaws as already mentioned but the game is still very playable. Hopefully a fix for the night sky will come out and then everything will be great. I don't have a problem with the in-game cursor either. I have my convergence set so that when in 3rd person mode there is no double image of my character when not wearing the glasses. This setting works really well and it really makes playing in 3d person look good. This game is going to be a huge time sinker.

Hi
Since you are using a 3D TV, we support games in 3D on those products using 3DTV Play software. It costs $39.99 and can be purchased from our website. Find out more at www.nvidia.com/3dtv.

Other than the night sky the game looks fantastic in 3D. Nice and immersive, great vistas, trees and towns.
What FOV is everyone using? I pulled down the console ("~" key) and typed fov to see what it was and it changed it to some crazy zoomed out fish eye fov and I've been trying to get it back to something usable. I think 65 is my sweet spot, it is probably more zoomed in than most like and lower than I would use without 3D, but in 3D it seems to be more immersive. I'd say anywhere between 60-70 is good.
I suppose I could do the actual math, given screen size, distance, etc you can figure out the right fov numbers, but I just want to play more right now /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Holy ****! I don't have this depth. Playing using 3DTV Play. In my game everything seems basically to have the same depth.
Have you changed you FOV or something else? Your shots are amazing but I would like to see the same ones (from inside the cave) with the weapon (sword) on screen to see if there's too much separation. Upping my convergence to match your screen makes me literally see almost 2 swords.

locate your install directory of skyrim
look for the folder named skyrim
open the file named SkyrimPrefs
look for:

Unfortunately the stars still render funny with increased convergence but still look cool if u take the time to stare at them:P
If i knew how to export my settings i think i have hit a sweat spot of depth and convergence.

My solution is don't look up!!!
Seriously, though, a fix would be nice.
This is an issue I have with LotRO, and it almost never impacts me because I'm not looking up. Optimal? No. but just sayin... /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Are you opening straight from the browser? Save to disk first then nav to the folder then open using nvidia viewer thingy. Hold on let me try, yea it worked here. I was able to download the JPS and view. Don't you have Skyrim ready to go somewhere? Just fire it up. Simulate what I told you and see if it breaks or not. FAST FAST FAST. You guys are so ****ing slow it pains me how slow you guys are. You should be able to do ten things at once none stop, bam bam bam.
Once you verify the problem get it to the devs fast so the fix is in the next beta driver.
OR maybe the problem is on my end?
If anyone else can confirm please do so but make sure you're thorough.

I also tried playing Crysis 2 in 3d. Here you could choose the 3d option in the menue, wich produced the typical interlaced picture for stereoscopic 3d.
The only problem is, that my 3d glassen doesnt seem to work with the 3d mode of the game.
So can anyone help me out here?
Hi
Since you are using a 3D TV, we support games in 3D on those products using 3DTV Play software. It costs $39.99 and can be purchased from our website. Find out more at www.nvidia.com/3dtv.
I wonder if the oblivion fix would work for skyrim...

I suppose I could do the actual math, given screen size, distance, etc you can figure out the right fov numbers, but I just want to play more right now

Wow! Enjoying this game in 3D so much.
Here's some screenies for anyone that wants.

Holy ****! I don't have this depth. Playing using 3DTV Play. In my game everything seems basically to have the same depth.
Have you changed you FOV or something else? Your shots are amazing but I would like to see the same ones (from inside the cave) with the weapon (sword) on screen to see if there's too much separation. Upping my convergence to match your screen makes me literally see almost 2 swords.

locate your install directory of skyrim
look for the folder named skyrim
open the file named SkyrimPrefs
look for:
[Clouds]
fCloudLevel2Distance=
fCloudLevel1Distance=
fCloudLevel0Distance=
i tried a lot and went all they way up to:
fCloudLevel2Distance=3462144.0000
fCloudLevel1Distance=6792768.0000
fCloudLevel0Distance=416384.0000

Hey, hey, hey, hey-now. Don't be mean; we don't have to be mean, cuz, remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

Thanks for the details. I cannot view your pics. Can you create an account on 3DVisionlive.com and send me the links to the pics?
