I've bought some time ago the new 3DVision wired glasses but I had some issues with the color. First I though it was because of my 560TI which had a few problems itself, but I recently changed for a GTX 580 (AsusROG matrix version) and the color problem is still here. I use my 3D glasses with an Acer H5360 video-projector mostly for 3D movies but for some games too, like Starcraft2 or Skyrim.
What happens :
The stereoscopic vision is good, I can see the depth, etc... BUT there is a huge problem with colors. If I watch the projected image without 3D glasses, I can see normal colors (with the left and right images merged but it's normal) but if I put the 3D glasses on, the images seem posterized, like all red/violet or something, and some details in textures are missing.
I can't really take a picture of the result...
I've searched on this forum and over the net and the only topic which seems to describe my problem is here : http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=211643 and has no answers...
I don't know if it's software or hardware, but I hope someone in here might know ^^
My configuration :
OS : Windows 7 Pro SP1
Proc : i7-2600k
Mother Board : P8P67
CG : Nvidia GeForce GTX 580
Video Projector : Acer H5360 (connected via HDMI)
Pilote : 285.62

I had this exact same problem with the wired glasses and Acer H5360 projector. These glasses obviously don't work well with projectors for some reason.
I bought a pair of rechargeable True Depth DLP-Link glasses which work great, though. You need to have the wired glasses plugged into your computer, and then enable DLP 3D mode in the projector's on-screen display for them to work.

Im the OP from the other thread.
With my glasses, I ended up returning them to the ebay seller I brought them off, and I guess they returned them to nvidia.
And after a while they were sent back to me - but instead of getting a repaired/replaced wired pair... I got a wireless glasses kit instead.
Ive had no problems with the wireless glasses at all since then. And i just wrote the whole thing off as a free upgrade.
It does sound like its an issue with the wireless ones as mentioned above.

If we can't trust the packaging indications ^^
Is this problem known and there will be a software/pilote update or is it too specific to be fixed ?
But thanks, I will look into these DLP-3D glasses.
