Really appreciate people like you who share thier beautiful magic with the world. Nothing comes close to the experience of playing a properly fixed game. I really can’t understand how I could play games in 2D in the past. Now, it looks like going Light years back and it’s not gonna happen ever! Thanks helifax and good to hear you again!

@llvariety The wrapper is based on Superdepth 3D and this works fine on the latest update.

xD nice to see you back Helifax :). I hope the Hotkey editing feature for OpenGl Wrapper is correctly implemented in 3D Fix Manager ... I looked at your comments in the ini. In my tests it worked so far but I only tested 2 games (Doom, Minecraft). Just report if something is not correct and I'll fix. Glad to see you back here!

This game is insanely demanding, I imagine one would need 1080 Ti SLI to run this in 3D Vision at 2560x1440 as my single overclocked full water block cooled 1080 Ti @ 2025 MHz struggles to maintain 70 FPS at 3440x1440 in 2D. Sure, 2560x1440 is 25% less pixels but were talking about maybe 85 FPS here at 2560x1440 and maybe 40 FPS in 3D Vision at that resolution. If it wont do near 60 FPS it's too stuttery for me without G-Sync.

Remember superdepth is not geometry 3d, it's Z-buffer based so has nowhere near the normal performance hit. Helifax mentioned crytek single pass 3d, which as far as I know will be based on the same approach.

I was under the impression that 3D Vision will halve your FPS no matter what. How does it get away with rendering two separate frames without the cost of two frames? Are you playing NMS and if so what is your performance like in 3D Vision vs. 2D? Is SLI even supported in NMS?

3d vision can half FPS, it's not always the case but it's a common scenario. Depth buffer based 3d takes various shortcuts and is more efficient, albeit with inferior (but often acceptable) results. 3d vision compatibility mode is also depth based, as is tridef 'power 3d'.
