My 3D Screenshots! FC2, L4D + RE5
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and 3D Vision, so what's up?

I was gutted by the ghosting at the top and bottom of the screen, as well as those stupid T.V like scan lines (Samsung) which everyone seems to be getting too... but I find that once you tweak it out as best you can.. I really can't see people wanting to game in 2D again!

So here are some of my shots (most have pop outs too!)

I was also impressed with Far Cry 2's performance in 3D.. I run everything maxed except for geometry (which is at medium) and with 2x AA (DX9) and get a solid 60 FPS

System:

Windows 7 64Bit
ASUS P7P55D (I think that's right? If my memory serves me well.)
i5 @ 3.6 OC'ed
GTX295 Stock Clocks
4GB DDR3 Corsair RAM

Games Shown:

Far Cry 2
Left 4 Dead
Resident Evil 5 (Taken in Benchmark, it doesnt show OC'ed processor speed for some reason.)

Let your eyes adjust for some of these... all of the ones for Far Cry should be pretty easy on the eye (if your vision is similar to mine) as I had the depth and convergence nailed to my liking, the same for most of the L4D shots... RE5 shots were the first ones I took, so I didn't really understand what I was doing at the time... just let your eyes adjust to them, and they look pretty cool. :D

so let me know what you guys think, and don't be afraid to post some of your own shots up here too :D

Wow, they look great. In particular Resident Evil 5 looks incredible (apart from the ghosting at the top of the monitor, but that's to be expected I guess). Wouldn't screenshots taken only record what the graphics card is rendering, though? Don't the screenshots indicate it'd be a hardware issue? Keep in mind I don't really have much of an idea as to what I'm talking about here, it's just the way it seems logical to me.

First off, thanks man I'm glad you like them! And for the 2nd bit..

I think that normally I'd agree... however the glasses have to go into 3D mode anyway whether it is a game in motion or a screenshot.. so there is no difference what so ever between playing the game and looking at a 3D screenshot... the glasses still have to turn on and the monitor still has to refresh.. meaning the same issues would appear.. is that right?

I'm not sure, that's just how I'd think about it.. I'm tempted to send it back.. but it seems that eeveryone has this issue, just some worse than others?

I'll bump it so that people can see them for a while... I'll let it dive in a week or two

The FC2 and LFD screens are great but RE5 has too much separation for me. Are you using a mod for LFD? The 1st screen seem to have some kind of motion blur movie style too it.

There's also a 3d screenshot thread here which is bumped a lot http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=150581
