Hello all, this is my first post, hopefully the last. I can't play games with 3d vision, stereoscopic 3d is enabled @ 1280x720 60mhz resolution. I followed the steps of enabling 3d vision - start - nvidia corporation - 3d vision - enable and nothing happens. don't know why. i have installed the last driver version 314.22. card: 560gtx. i can play stereoscopic 3d movies, but not games. help please.
tried to play tomb raider, bioshock 2. when i played crysis 2, it allowed to me to play it in sbs, so it wasn't a problem. the problem is in stereoscopic mode.

Thanks for the answer.
I haven't set shortcut key. I think I read that ctrl+t is default? where should I press it? When the game is started, at dekstop.. ? Still nothing happens.

In your 3d settings in the nvidia control panel, is stereoscopic 3d enabled?
Also check out the registry entries at:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D
You'll find a number of keys to tweak how it activates, try changing a few.
I think the 3d vision is installed at my (non 3d) monitor, which was the primary display when I installed the driver. That's why when I start a 3d game when the monitor is on, an info bar shows down about the NVIDIA 3D Vision Hot Keys. That doesn't happen when I start the game on the 3d tv. Could this be the issue?

Yes, quite likely. Often when you are running multiple displays, you must switch off the non-3d displays via the Nvidia Control Panel, otherwise it conflicts with proper stereoscopic operation.
It's very dicey - sometimes when I install a new driver, 3D vision will not work unless I disable all other displays, and sometimes when I install a new driver, it works just fine with all three displays running.

I'm not sure if this will work in this case but I made a script awhile back when I was helping crimsonnight out that prompts you with all the display options, extended, duplicated, etc. then it asks if you want to enable 3D Vision, and finally asks if it should remain open so you can change back afterwards.

Thanks guys, you've been very helpful, but none of the above solved the problem. Tried enabling reg keys, tried the script, but nothing changed. I guess that's my luck. Take care.

Tomb Raider 2 needs 3d vision activated in the graphics menu
I believe the same is true for Crysis 2
