Better 3D with Analygraph + reduce Ghosting
  2 / 3
I think this post could be sticky cause it's the only driver that work for Core2duo+8800 (and Ati too) with DX9 games and stereo devices, i think it will be the one for a long time, 91.31 driver has one year now, happy birthday :magic: , but don't work anymore with new hardware configurations /haha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':haha:' />

JOKEPS : Kinddragon is better programmer than Nvidia million dolllars staff mens :P , Kinddragon you might make some graphic cards too i think it will beat 8800 gtx ultra /haha.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':haha:' />

And remember, more YOU'll be paid, less YOU will working.......(you can Replace "YOU" by "Nvidia" ;) )

This came like a lightning from the sky!!! Haven't tested them yet. I have both shutterglasses from E-dimensional and a dual projector setup (don't know if that one is supported) by this driver but i'm gonna test!
Waited since november last year for a working stereodriver for the 8800 so you're a real hero! /thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

These are NVIDIA forums. Would it be helpful for me to create a forum category for these drivers at MTBS?

Seems like a few actually made them working. Haven't tried them yet though but i'm just switching from my 7900GT to my 8800GTX since the driver wont run with 7900.

Edit: It probably runs fine with older cards too. Had an outdated DirectX version. The latest is absolutely needed!

Coming back with results from me but a thread for it on MTBS wouldn't be wrong! Also in the same time going to test an openGL-wrapper i saw another thread about to see if Doom3 or Quake4 will run. Don't have to big hope about that though.

Regards

Nvidia 8800GTX Analygraph
Games successfully Test at this Time:

Driv3r - very nice Depth at all
Scarface - very nice Depth at all
HL 2 - great /crosshair is 2D
Sin Episodes - great /crosshair is 2D
Test Drive Unlimited - great /only at 18-30 Frames
Armed Assault - cool but crosshair is 2D / Vehicle & Chopper must be in 3rd Person
Driver Parallel Lines - Very Great !!!! /smile2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':))' />

important: Use the optimized Analygraph option, otherwise Games like HL2 going very Dark!

I read somewhere the shutterglass signal is connect to a DDC pin on the VGA.
1 for left, 0, for right, (or reverse this).

You could cut this wire and connect this to parallel port pin.
There are various windows drivers to use the parallel port.
I used http://www.paraport.net/ before.

So this could be a nice addition /smile2.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':))' />

What are you intending to do? Do you want to make a second program, that tells the DDC connection for the shutterglasses, when the graphics card has rendered a new picture?
Might be a nice (new) implementation for the driver. Those who want to plug their Glasses to the paralel port, could get a special signal, to switch the glasses at every new frame. This wouldn't decrease flickering, but wrong images at low refresh rates.

Other great upgrades would be some Dual-Output with mirroring function of one half of the picture.
I would also be happy about a crossey-Version of the over-Under selection possibility :-)

No, integrate this in the driver of KindDragon. On the place where the rotation matrix is modified for left eye, call paraport with bit0;value=0, for right eye, set bit0;value=1. very low impact, nice addition

I dont know the current implementation of the kinddragon driver, nVidia keeps swapping the left/right eye at refresh rate. Even when the application only render 5fps, so it seems.
KindDragons driver hooks to the swapbuffer or something, so when the application renders 5fps it will only switch the shutterglass at 5fps.
So more flickering, but not wrong images I guess.

Is the source somewhere available ?
In case my ordered glasses are deliverred before the end of this year /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
It seems they lost my order, or something.

Hm... maybe this is something:
http://www.nicomsoft.com/
WinI2C/DDC is a powerful solution that allows you to control display devices in the Windows environment via the DDC/CI protocol

This way the driver can send the correct signals to the shutter glasses, so it also works with lower refresh rates.

You could open a PayPal account and we could send money with our feature requests B)

<edit>
I found your website, while google-ing for some info on stereo. And I guess it will stay closed-source, since I see you are working at iZ3D now.
I guess the name OpenStereo doesnot stand for OpenSourceStereo :-D

So I guess not much more stereo drivers will be released which I can use on my laptop.

Unless I can use both analog and DVI connectors on the back for separate video signals.

Hi!

I tested KindDragon's RealStereo Driver. It's great!
I can play lots of games in real 3D, but there are some Games, which doesn't work:

Half-Life 2 Deathmatch
GTA San Andreas

Half-Life 2 Deathmatch
After starting the game, the Monitor flickers. It's when the menu should open.
I tested lots of different profiles.
Do anybody know this problem? Which profile works?

GTA San Andreas
After loading a savegame the game exits without any message.
The menu is in anaglph.
What should I do?

Sorry for bad english :">

When I tried to run kind dragon's stereo driver it kept asking for d3dx9_33.dll. Why? I figured I would have the latest direct X 9 drivers.

Anyway I downloaded just the dll and now it works. Is downloading just the dll going to hurt anything?

I still can't get anaglyph mode to work on HL2 even though I selected hook. What am I doing wrong??

Edit: It seems I have to launch hl2.exe instead of launching it from steam. Also Half Life 2: episode two won't work at all because I have to launch it through steam. The app refuses to launch by itself, it gives me an error.

Any idea how I can make it work for episode 2?

Also is there anyway I can PAY kind dragon to continue to update and support the app? I work with programmers on elance and stuff all the time.
