Problem with SkyrimSE
I recently updated Win10 to this new big update. Ever since then SkyrimSE does not work anymore. The 3dvision testscreen in the nvidia control panel works, Portal 2 works, Half life 2 works (etc...) but Skyrim does not. I made a fresh installation of Skyrim and a fresh installation of the latest Nvidia driver through DDU. I'm using the fix from helixmods, but it hardly seems to matter, even without the fix it does not work. Here is what happens: Game starts, the bottom right says "3Dmigoto... etc". Okay so far. But the 3D sensor on my hardware does not activate. The little 3D symbol does not light up. And usually, if you look at a working 3d game without the glasses, you see the 2 pictures. But in my Skyrim it flickers really bad, so that's another thing thats odd. After re-installing nvidia drivers and skyrim, I don't know what to do anymore. :-(

Just a wild guess !! I had broken 3D in Fallout 3, and tried the same things as you, but it didn't help either.. In my case the ini files (found in user/documents/my games or something like that..) was corrupt ! And even a new install of the game, doesn't refresh the ini, instead just delete skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini, and the game makes new ones on next boot ! That fixed my problems completely, I hope it can help you too :)

It sounds like your game isn't forcing 120Hz or something like that. Try creating a 120Hz custom resolution and using that with the game. To change it without opening the game, edit the "Documents/My Games/Skyrim Special Edition/SkyrimPrefs.ini" file, and change these lines to your new resolution, like:
iSize H=1440 iSize W=2560
I still don't have the autumn update, so this is all guessing.

The .ini is showing what I want it to show (1080, 1920). What do you mean with custom resolution?

Create a custom resolution in the Nvidia Control Panel, at 120Hz. For example 1918x1080 or whatever. Something that will exclusively have 120Hz.
