Two quick suggestions:
Check directories
* make sure the DLL and settings file are definitely in the directory where the game exe is, and not some 'launcher' type exe - I have no idea how Iron Front installs
Try Debug DLL
* download the 'debug' dll from here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/HelixMods/*Mainfiles/Debug.zip
* rename the release dll to something temporary and put the debug dll in the directory with the game exe
* start the game
* when the game starts it should have red text at the top of the screen listing shaders and CRC numbers
* if it does, try setting the convergence values to check its working
* if it does not then the dll is probably in the incorrect location
I will note, as it says on the Wiki page, that only the key 0-9 above the letters seem to work, not numpad keys.
Let me know how you get on.

Thanks Mike I managed to get it working with the debug dll, could set the convergence and it saved it in the ini file. I swapped over the dll's again but no luck with the standard dll.

Good news on the debug dll, but wierd about the release dll. When using the debug dll, if you press F11 the red text goes away so you can use it in place of the release dll.
Try the attached files here: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=230192&view=findpost&p=1413079 This is a separate forum posting I originally made for this, and I attached the actual files I use - get the dll from the zip file.
I will try the release dll linked to on the wiki page (I thought I had the same one) to see if I have the same problem.

At least for me, the .ini presets convergence configuration works only with the newest dll release. i try with an older version and don't work. Maybe is that /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Hi - on the wiki page I link here to get the release: https://s3.amazonaws.com/HelixMods/*Mainfiles/Release.zip
Can you update that link with the latest release dll, then that should hopefully solve the problem. I'll test it tonight when I get home.

Top most in both release / debug. Replace link, Not sure if any past fixes use that release. I cant replace release files. Just replace the link.

I've managed to use the other .dll for using with Afterburner. It works and I can now easily switch sep and conv with 0 & 9. This is incredibly useful for Arma2 and the new WW2 version of it Iron Front. I highly recommend these titles if you like realistic FPS's/strategy games. Thank you Mike and all that contributed and is contributing to the developing of 3D vision settings for us users seeing as nvidia do little to help us now aside from driver "improvements". You all have my utmost respect, appreciation and thanks. /thanks.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thanks:' />

Alright for people that are having trouble with Fallout 3 and the pipboy screen getting glitched with the latest patch in 3D, its the shadows. Disabling or setting them lower fixes it.

It still happens even with Helix mod so he might want to take a look at what exactly is causing it.

Fallout New Vegas Pip Boy Convergence Switching:

If anyone is still playing Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas (like I am :-), and is fed up with the way the Pip Boy pops out so far it makes you cross-eyed to look at it and does not allow you to select anything with the mouse cursor without some serious mouse wiggling about, I have put a small AutoHotkey script together that works with the Helix preset functionality to automatically switch the convergence to "low" when the Tab key is pressed to display the PipBoy and then put's it back to what it's 'default' (presumably higher) convergence setting is when the Tab key is pressed again to exit the PipBoy. It's not perfect and I had to put some key delays in to prevent accidental fast double taps of the key that can get the events out of sync (so showing the PB will actually set the higher convergence setting and vice versa) so the PB is not as fast switching as without the fix. But it works and could be the basis for creating similar key mapping functionality in any game that can work with the Helix DLL and for which there are drastic convergence switches necessary between game<->menu and so on. The script attached maps to the keys "9" (high convergence) and "0" (low convergence), but you can change the constants at the top to whatever you want. You can also change the various key delay parameters. If anyone gets to try it, let me know if you find it useful.

For this to work you need the Helix Release DLL and create a DX9Settings.ini file, as covered here: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2012/05/how-to-guide-create-convergence-and.html?utm_source=BP_recent

@eqzitara - if you think its worth putting this on the WIKI, let me know and I'll do it tonight.

Nice!...Thanx @ Mike_ar69 I have been adding pre-sets to many fixed games. It makes the experience more seamless. For driving games switching views with pre-sets tied to the xbox360 controler "RB, LB" is so much better. In MX vs. ATV there is a SICK 1st person view. It does the same thing when you switch to it...(you have to adjust convergence way down). With the pre-sets you can jump in and out of the vehicle ...its so cool!

Hmmm.... I dunno tbh, too many presets and it can wind up cluttered. I can make a page for it then people can reply in comments with game name/ file / explanation. Then use initial post as an index.
Let me know what you think but I think the best idea is one post dedicated to presets/scripts.(I also made one for skyrim)

If anyone can figure out how to get autohotkey to activate nvidia laser sight that would be awesome. I dont think it registers simulated keystrokes. I wanted to write a script where when you activate archer mode/mage mode in skyrim that hud disappears and laser sight shows up when left mouse button is pressed down but nvidia laser sight does not register the key stroke.
