I've been reading the last few hours and I have a few questions I can't seem to find answers to. A little background: I have a Samsung S27A950D having just converted from AMD video cards. I do not have 3d vision. I have seen ways to make the monitor work but I'm not certain I want the hassle. I have a 1070 geforce card and a couple of glasses (RF for the samsung). My goal is to be able to enjoy Bluray 3D at maximum resolution and gaming 3D at 1080p 60 hz per eye.
1. I've read that 1080p projectors at 60 hz each eye are not available. Is that information current?
2. I've read about 1440p projectors in 3D but I don't see any on the list of supported projectors. Where are they? https://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-system-requirements.html
3. Can 1080p at 60Hz per eye be obtained with 2 projectors?
4. I want a projector and possibly another monitor. Can I get glasses that will work with both?

6. The link above contains numerous projectors claiming to be Bluray 3D compatible and yet have resolutions less than 1920 x 1080. How does that work? Isn't Bluray 1080p effectively?

3. I would not suggest a two projector setup. A lot of stuff will be very hard to do. Even with passive you still need glasses. Compared to passive TV's you get full resolution while active 3DTV show the full resolution.
4. In rare cases you might but I don't think you should prioritize getting glasses that work everywhere. Treat the monitor and projector separately. 3D Vision glasses works with a lot of monitors but I'm not aware if they work with projectors as I always assumed the projector needing separate glasses. I currently have 10 glasses. 2 3D Vision glasses, 2 3D Vision version 2 glasses and the 2 included ones with my passive LG 4K TV(not OLED) and another batch of 4 glasses as two glasses is not enough.
5. If you want to game in 3D you need 3D Vision or 3DTV Play to activate the 3D stereoscopic part of the driver. Not every display/projector supports 3D Vision while pretty much all 3DTV's supports framepacked 3D at either 1080p24 or 720p60. If TV manufacturers cared they could have added more 3D modes as framepacked with HDMI 2.0 but the 3D gaming market almost don't exist. PS3 have some 720p games but is generally too slow to support 1080p60 if it was possible. 1080p60 requires higher bandwidth than HDMI 1.4. Dual link DVI was the normal way to play on PC.
6. Clearly they don't display 1080p24 in 3D. Many 720p TV's can display 1080p but the image will be displayed scaled down.
7. I wouldn't rely on the built in 3D conversion of a TV. In proper 3D the planes would appear 6cm apart on the screen. I'm not too sure how well that game is in 3D as you would have to refocus a lot going from HUD at screen depth and enemy planes at infinity pretty much. As long as you don't move to 4K the planes would still be a few pixels. My 4K TV has 2D->3D conversion but here the passive display hurts as you only see every other line. In 2D you get twice the resolution. Some kind of 1080p60 active will probably be good as you don't want half resolution in 3d. My TV can display images at 3840x1080 in 3D which is better than standard 1080p.
8. Make sure you get what you want as you will probably use it a lot.

I have the same screen and GPU. To get the bypass working is really simple and definitely worth the hassle. It just works in a shady way with many compromises. Since you already have everything you need I would advice you to get it working before you try anything else.

Apart from the EDID with the W1070, nVidia drivers do everything else automatically. With the EDID for the W1070 you still need the 3D Vision kit [color="gray"](but if you get the edid working for the SA950 it would act as the kit for the W1070 as long as the drivers detect both in the device manager are connected)[/color]. So you wont waste your time or money learning how to do an EDID or to get the kit. You would need to learn how to do an EDID any way. Stereoscopic gaming is riddled with compromises and loops you need to go through. That's just how it's been 95% of the time.
When I say the drivers do everything automatically: With the SA950 you have to manually activate 3D on the screen's 3d Menu to get into Frame Sequential. You will find that the 3D is inverted 50% of the time. (it appears very confusing) So you would also need to revert the 3D sync amongst these settings.
Apart from all the trouble, this is still one of the most beautiful monitors out there. It provides excellent image quality with its gloss finish.
Projectors provide the best scale while it lacks in image quality. The transition in the beginning was a bit hard moving from 1070p to 720p. But ghosting/crosstalk is one very important aspect you need to consider when buying into this environment. ([u]it throttles immersion[/u])[color="orange"]

The projector Flugan is talking about in his first point is superior in DLP atm. Some excellent info shared in [URL="https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1052371/3d-vision/1920-x-1080-120hz-in-3d-yes-/1/"]this[/URL] post. You start needing more horse power when you go above 1080p with settings maxed. Currently the GTX 1070 is on par with 1080p. But actually overkill on 720p. So you could play at max AA in most scenarios. (or 4X DSR which, atm is a bit Greek to me). Not many guys comment on passive TV's VS Projectors. I saw Lohan giving his opinions few years back. He owned most of the gear. If i remember correctly he said it was the best so far. But it still suffers ghosting and 4k is hungry! Which means you need to Sli your performance.

Samsung should have sold some patience with the S27A950. Think in the 5 years I used it I spend about 2 1/2 years stuck at loading screens. (that's how it felt) Still worth every second though.
My next move would be either to go with Metal-O-Holic's or Pauldusler's setup. I regret not going with projectors sooner. You only get one first impression. The second time you play through a game on a big screen you wish you'd done it the first time!!! Trust me on this one. I have also compared 1080p and 720p screenshots on my projector. I know I will also regret not going to 1080p sooner when I finally get there.

If you wanna tryout passive 3d with one leg you could start with the omega filtters as you don´t need silverscreen but you can get hooked to justify more investemt :D lol.... I alsways discribe my trip to dual projection like it´s pleasure quicksand. The more you strugle the deeper you sink. the more you sink the better the experience and the more you burn cash.
But if you start by getting yourself a geobox 501. with that you can digitally make a curved screen setup that you can use no matter you choose to discard your dual pojector setup later (though you won´t) you can use it double your light output in 2D if you need to make temporal setup outside for example.
though you propably end up buing silverscreen anyways as omegas cut off much light.

i propably could make you a batch of paint if you are capable of painting the silverscreen yourself. i used a sprayer my self, i don´t know could you apply the paint your self with roller... It´s my own mix. better then any sample i have tested. stewart 5D is propably better in some aspects and the screen BlackShark uses. though i suspect i have less ghosting. My screen is anyways better than Imax sweden. the hotspotting is ok. but i have a curved screen so that heps in that matter. I would like to get a commersial screen in the next installation place but the cost difference is like 1:30 and the image gain is more on the 2D side and little lower hotspotting so it´s going to be a tough call.

Apart from the EDID with the W1070, nVidia drivers do everything else automatically. With the EDID for the W1070 you still need the 3D Vision kit (but if you get the edid working for the SA950 it would act as the kit for the W1070 as long as the drivers detect both in the device manager are connected). So you wont waste your time or money learning how to do an EDID or to get the kit. You would need to learn how to do an EDID any way. Stereoscopic gaming is riddled with compromises and loops you need to go through. That's just how it's been 95% of the time.

You will find that the 3D is inverted 50% of the time. (it appears very confusing) So you would also need to revert the 3D sync amongst these settings.
Apart from all the trouble, this is still one of the most beautiful monitors out there. It provides excellent image quality with its gloss finish.
Projectors provide the best scale while it lacks in image quality. The transition in the beginning was a bit hard moving from 1070p to 720p. But ghosting/crosstalk is one very important aspect you need to consider when buying into this environment. (it throttles immersion)

The projector Flugan is talking about in his first point is superior in DLP atm. Some excellent info shared in this post. You start needing more horse power when you go above 1080p with settings maxed. Currently the GTX 1070 is on par with 1080p. But actually overkill on 720p. So you could play at max AA in most scenarios. (or 4X DSR which, atm is a bit Greek to me). Not many guys comment on passive TV's VS Projectors. I saw Lohan giving his opinions few years back. He owned most of the gear. If i remember correctly he said it was the best so far. But it still suffers ghosting and 4k is hungry! Which means you need to Sli your performance.

Samsung should have sold some patience with the S27A950. Think in the 5 years I used it I spend about 2 1/2 years stuck at loading screens. (that's how it felt) Still worth every second though.
My next move would be either to go with Metal-O-Holic's or Pauldusler's setup. I regret not going with projectors sooner. You only get one first impression. The second time you play through a game on a big screen you wish you'd done it the first time!!! Trust me on this one. I have also compared 1080p and 720p screenshots on my projector. I know I will also regret not going to 1080p sooner when I finally get there.
If you wanna tryout passive 3d with one leg you could start with the omega filtters as you don´t need silverscreen but you can get hooked to justify more investemt :D lol.... I alsways discribe my trip to dual projection like it´s pleasure quicksand. The more you strugle the deeper you sink. the more you sink the better the experience and the more you burn cash.
But if you start by getting yourself a geobox 501. with that you can digitally make a curved screen setup that you can use no matter you choose to discard your dual pojector setup later (though you won´t) you can use it double your light output in 2D if you need to make temporal setup outside for example.
though you propably end up buing silverscreen anyways as omegas cut off much light.

i propably could make you a batch of paint if you are capable of painting the silverscreen yourself. i used a sprayer my self, i don´t know could you apply the paint your self with roller... It´s my own mix. better then any sample i have tested. stewart 5D is propably better in some aspects and the screen BlackShark uses. though i suspect i have less ghosting. My screen is anyways better than Imax sweden. the hotspotting is ok. but i have a curved screen so that heps in that matter. I would like to get a commersial screen in the next installation place but the cost difference is like 1:30 and the image gain is more on the 2D side and little lower hotspotting so it´s going to be a tough call.

What happens when your pixels aren't perfectly lined up in 2D? Or do you always wear your glasses?

Then i used normal 90 degree metal L corners to screw the parts together. Inside corner and outside corners. Total of 8 L pieces. The i used wood trims on top of that. Made a pocket for a PVC (if i remember correctly) thin 3 or 5mm on the screen and painted that. I would have just used normal kapa (foam urethane with aluminium film) sheet but it does not go into roll and my screen is where i can’t carry 135” screen in one Piece but the PVC i got in roll and the roll fitted my staircase upstairs.
I don’t know really know what to say about the pixels. I don’t know haven’t measured any pixels. With geobox you can set the image precise. And there is really small amount of ”blur”.
Much sharper than key stone function on any projector.

Yeah i only had a paper with the desired bending radius. Ofcourse i calculated how much the bending shortens the widenes to keep aspect ratio 16:9

Anyway good to know 1080p at 60 hz per eye is doable. I'm more interested in ease of use for now so a single projector seems like an option, also to convince my wife to fork over the dough for the more expensive projectors I'm going to try a less expensive setup first.
For my purposes of mainly watching Bluray movies and playing some 3D games I'm looking at projectors and comparing mostly the contrast ratio, price and inputlag. I've mostly discarded my earlier picks.
The BenQ W1070 is interesting but the contrast is low. Should I be concerned about 3D quality with this?
Epson 5030UB has 600,000:1
Panasonix PT-AE8000 I'm excited by the possibility of a 3D to 2D function for my wife who may not like 3D all the time Contrast 500,000:1 Input lag is 50 ms though!
Epson 2040 35,000:1 contrast. But seems plenty bright. Should I be considering this more? Ambient light will definitely be present in my gaming, but probably not my home theater.
Any thoughts on these choices?

OK so first I will try to get the samsung monitor working. I thought for the projector I would need just 3d tv play software but instead I should buy 3d vision 2 to make games accessible. This means 3d TV software is not necessary? I'll start reading EDID since it looks like I will need the software for both the monitor and the projector. So besides purchasing 3d vision and EDID software I do not need anything else.

About CRT mode : I can definitely say the "Generic CRT" mode is still in the driver and I use it to output 3D Vision games to my Geobox 501 3D demultiplexer (for the Dual-projector system).
The Generic CRT mode becomes available whenever you plug the 3D Vision usb pyramid emitter AND the driver does not recognize your monitor as part of it's database.
I cannot say whether of not Generic CRT mode works with any particular monitor.
If I remember correctly, these Samsung 3D monitors were blacklisted by nVidia, so they should be recognized and Generic CRT mode should be blocked unless you override the EDID.

I still haven't collected all my experience in one place. It's been a while I've told myself I should do that someday but haven't done it yet.
I started with a professional cinema grade silverscreen called Harkness Spectral 240 (gain 2.4).
It holds polarization very well, but it suffers from heavy shimmering and hotspotting. It was so bad that you couldn't see individual pixels at 1080p on a 105" screen (2,35m width).
The base 2D image quality on that thing was atrocious.
I have been looking for more hybrid screens better suited for home use and with significantly less shimmering.
I currently use a XtremScreen Daylight 2.0 (gain 2.0) which provides me with very good polarization retention (almost as good as the old silverscreen) but significantly less shimmering (there is still some, it's not as pure as a white matte screen, but it's very very low), and also a lot less hotspotting thanks to a wider viewing angle.
I have not tested every possible screen material, but I believe my current screen is about as good compromise as you can currently get.

i went to see JVC (here) x5900 as a potential replacements for my setup yesterday.... wow blacks were not that black i expected but black anyways. the motion handling without interpolation was the best i have seen and really filmic picture. also did get a sweet offer for two units, as the model is exiting market. but
i really was not ready to loose money for that price range setup currently allthoug it´s my dream setup and there was no polarisation on the unit...why i started blabbering about this. the guy said no 4k projector is truly 4k sold this times. maby one but anyways most of the units and all below 5000 it´s just marketing blabber.
but if you are interested i also tested the "4k" projector UHD60 from optoma, at 1999€ in finland.
and i gotta say it has really low abounts of rbe atleast in film 24p material. i did not test any 3d modes as for me passive guy the 2d is the quality of 3D with dual projector setup. im super sensitive to the rainbow effect and i was impressed how low it was. though still even this unit would not get into my setup as i have a bad habbit of scanning the fov with my eyes and moving your eyes from left to right always reveals the rainbowing. and it makes me feel somewhat sick. but those interesting of 1 chip dlp unit i think it seemed a really good unit to put in your "one to see" list

It's very possible that native 1080P@120Hz PJs are now available. I recommend checking projector central and other review sites https://www.projectorcentral.com/

The advantages are variable, depending on the display and game being played. It's typically better than 3DTV Play, due to the 720P@60/1080P@24 limitations of 3DTV Play.
NOTE: 3D Vision "requires" an Nvidia emitter to be enabled. 3DTV Play requires a $40 stand alone license to be purchased. However, if you own an Nvidia emitter, it can be used to unlock 3DTV Play for free as long as it's connected.

7. I play IL-2. Spotting small aircraft was impossible on the samsung 2D-3D function because aircraft at 9 km away are only a few pixels large. Will the projector help me to retain good spotting distance? Is there a monitor that will help? IL-2 CLOD does not support 3D play and so must be 2D-3D.

Dual projector setup is the most expensive choise. Though if you Are a movie and bigscreen lover also i would recommend to go that way.
Especially if you Are allergia to flicker or suffer from headaches. Two Sony hw45 would be great choise At the time.

2. I know nothing of 1440p projectors or if they even exist in the real world. They might have started focus on 4K.
3. I would not suggest a two projector setup. A lot of stuff will be very hard to do. Even with passive you still need glasses. Compared to passive TV's you get full resolution while active 3DTV show the full resolution.
4. In rare cases you might but I don't think you should prioritize getting glasses that work everywhere. Treat the monitor and projector separately. 3D Vision glasses works with a lot of monitors but I'm not aware if they work with projectors as I always assumed the projector needing separate glasses. I currently have 10 glasses. 2 3D Vision glasses, 2 3D Vision version 2 glasses and the 2 included ones with my passive LG 4K TV(not OLED) and another batch of 4 glasses as two glasses is not enough.
5. If you want to game in 3D you need 3D Vision or 3DTV Play to activate the 3D stereoscopic part of the driver. Not every display/projector supports 3D Vision while pretty much all 3DTV's supports framepacked 3D at either 1080p24 or 720p60. If TV manufacturers cared they could have added more 3D modes as framepacked with HDMI 2.0 but the 3D gaming market almost don't exist. PS3 have some 720p games but is generally too slow to support 1080p60 if it was possible. 1080p60 requires higher bandwidth than HDMI 1.4. Dual link DVI was the normal way to play on PC.
6. Clearly they don't display 1080p24 in 3D. Many 720p TV's can display 1080p but the image will be displayed scaled down.
7. I wouldn't rely on the built in 3D conversion of a TV. In proper 3D the planes would appear 6cm apart on the screen. I'm not too sure how well that game is in 3D as you would have to refocus a lot going from HUD at screen depth and enemy planes at infinity pretty much. As long as you don't move to 4K the planes would still be a few pixels. My 4K TV has 2D->3D conversion but here the passive display hurts as you only see every other line. In 2D you get twice the resolution. Some kind of 1080p60 active will probably be good as you don't want half resolution in 3d. My TV can display images at 3840x1080 in 3D which is better than standard 1080p.

I have the same screen and GPU. To get the bypass working is really simple and definitely worth the hassle. It just works in a shady way with many compromises. Since you already have everything you need I would advice you to get it working before you try anything else.
You could find everything wrong with this monitor over here. Its really simple if you've done it a few times.

The other day I heard someone else claim generic CRT is working again and that the 3D Vision 2 kit should work with this monitor. Which means you don't have to do anything shady to get it working. (not yet confirmed) But get the glasses supplied with this monitor to work first! If you're happy with 3DVision and planning to upgrade to another monitor buy the 3DV kit before you buy anything else and test it for yourself. I never bought the kit since it would have been useless since they removed generic CRT support from their drivers.
I'm on the Benq W1070 now and couldn't be more happy.
Apart from the EDID with the W1070, nVidia drivers do everything else automatically. With the EDID for the W1070 you still need the 3D Vision kit (but if you get the edid working for the SA950 it would act as the kit for the W1070 as long as the drivers detect both in the device manager are connected). So you wont waste your time or money learning how to do an EDID or to get the kit. You would need to learn how to do an EDID any way. Stereoscopic gaming is riddled with compromises and loops you need to go through. That's just how it's been 95% of the time.
When I say the drivers do everything automatically: With the SA950 you have to manually activate 3D on the screen's 3d Menu to get into Frame Sequential. You will find that the 3D is inverted 50% of the time. (it appears very confusing) So you would also need to revert the 3D sync amongst these settings.
Apart from all the trouble, this is still one of the most beautiful monitors out there. It provides excellent image quality with its gloss finish.
Projectors provide the best scale while it lacks in image quality. The transition in the beginning was a bit hard moving from 1070p to 720p. But ghosting/crosstalk is one very important aspect you need to consider when buying into this environment. (it throttles immersion)

The projector Flugan is talking about in his first point is superior in DLP atm. Some excellent info shared in this post. You start needing more horse power when you go above 1080p with settings maxed. Currently the GTX 1070 is on par with 1080p. But actually overkill on 720p. So you could play at max AA in most scenarios. (or 4X DSR which, atm is a bit Greek to me). Not many guys comment on passive TV's VS Projectors. I saw Lohan giving his opinions few years back. He owned most of the gear. If i remember correctly he said it was the best so far. But it still suffers ghosting and 4k is hungry! Which means you need to Sli your performance.

Samsung should have sold some patience with the S27A950. Think in the 5 years I used it I spend about 2 1/2 years stuck at loading screens. (that's how it felt) Still worth every second though.
My next move would be either to go with Metal-O-Holic's or Pauldusler's setup. I regret not going with projectors sooner. You only get one first impression. The second time you play through a game on a big screen you wish you'd done it the first time!!! Trust me on this one. I have also compared 1080p and 720p screenshots on my projector. I know I will also regret not going to 1080p sooner when I finally get there.
If you wanna tryout passive 3d with one leg you could start with the omega filtters as you don´t need silverscreen but you can get hooked to justify more investemt :D lol.... I alsways discribe my trip to dual projection like it´s pleasure quicksand. The more you strugle the deeper you sink. the more you sink the better the experience and the more you burn cash.
But if you start by getting yourself a geobox 501. with that you can digitally make a curved screen setup that you can use no matter you choose to discard your dual pojector setup later (though you won´t) you can use it double your light output in 2D if you need to make temporal setup outside for example.
though you propably end up buing silverscreen anyways as omegas cut off much light.

i propably could make you a batch of paint if you are capable of painting the silverscreen yourself. i used a sprayer my self, i don´t know could you apply the paint your self with roller... It´s my own mix. better then any sample i have tested. stewart 5D is propably better in some aspects and the screen BlackShark uses. though i suspect i have less ghosting. My screen is anyways better than Imax sweden. the hotspotting is ok. but i have a curved screen so that heps in that matter. I would like to get a commersial screen in the next installation place but the cost difference is like 1:30 and the image gain is more on the 2D side and little lower hotspotting so it´s going to be a tough call.

Did you plan your custom screen with CAD or simple paper drawings? I've got some experience in surfacing on CAD. Is your screen a simple curve or concave? How do you spread your pixels evenly over a curved screen? I would have thought your pixels in the center are smaller than the pixels on the outside border? What happens when your pixels aren't perfectly lined up in 2D? Or do you always wear your glasses?
Quickly scanned through BlackShark's first Passive polarized Dual-projector setup and it seems there's a lot of things to consider.
Mine is pretty Simple curved screen. Got some aluminium. 20mmx40mm or Something At the same ballpark, don’t quite remember.
I used radius used in commersial cinemas... 5-7 degrees. Don’t remember. Anyways i took the long parts, needed to be curved with me and drove to a metal worker that has machines to curve metal. Then i used normal 90 degree metal L corners to screw the parts together. Inside corner and outside corners. Total of 8 L pieces. The i used wood trims on top of that. Made a pocket for a PVC (if i remember correctly) thin 3 or 5mm on the screen and painted that. I would have just used normal kapa (foam urethane with aluminium film) sheet but it does not go into roll and my screen is where i can’t carry 135” screen in one Piece but the PVC i got in roll and the roll fitted my staircase upstairs.
I don’t know really know what to say about the pixels. I don’t know haven’t measured any pixels. With geobox you can set the image precise. And there is really small amount of ”blur”.
Much sharper than key stone function on any projector.
In stereo though its not matter that much if the image isnt pixel perfect. As long as its leveled about.

Anyway good to know 1080p at 60 hz per eye is doable. I'm more interested in ease of use for now so a single projector seems like an option, also to convince my wife to fork over the dough for the more expensive projectors I'm going to try a less expensive setup first.
For my purposes of mainly watching Bluray movies and playing some 3D games I'm looking at projectors and comparing mostly the contrast ratio, price and inputlag. I've mostly discarded my earlier picks.
The BenQ W1070 is interesting but the contrast is low. Should I be concerned about 3D quality with this?

Epson 2040 35,000:1 contrast. But seems plenty bright. Should I be considering this more? Ambient light will definitely be present in my gaming, but probably not my home theater.

The Generic CRT mode becomes available whenever you plug the 3D Vision usb pyramid emitter AND the driver does not recognize your monitor as part of it's database.
I cannot say whether of not Generic CRT mode works with any particular monitor.
If I remember correctly, these Samsung 3D monitors were blacklisted by nVidia, so they should be recognized and Generic CRT mode should be blocked unless you override the EDID.

A lot has changed since this old post.
I still haven't collected all my experience in one place. It's been a while I've told myself I should do that someday but haven't done it yet.
I started with a professional cinema grade silverscreen called Harkness Spectral 240 (gain 2.4).
It holds polarization very well, but it suffers from heavy shimmering and hotspotting. It was so bad that you couldn't see individual pixels at 1080p on a 105" screen (2,35m width).
The base 2D image quality on that thing was atrocious.
I have been looking for more hybrid screens better suited for home use and with significantly less shimmering.
I currently use a XtremScreen Daylight 2.0 (gain 2.0) which provides me with very good polarization retention (almost as good as the old silverscreen) but significantly less shimmering (there is still some, it's not as pure as a white matte screen, but it's very very low), and also a lot less hotspotting thanks to a wider viewing angle.
I have not tested every possible screen material, but I believe my current screen is about as good compromise as you can currently get.

i really was not ready to loose money for that price range setup currently allthoug it´s my dream setup and there was no polarisation on the unit...why i started blabbering about this. the guy said no 4k projector is truly 4k sold this times. maby one but anyways most of the units and all below 5000 it´s just marketing blabber.
but if you are interested i also tested the "4k" projector UHD60 from optoma, at 1999€ in finland.
and i gotta say it has really low abounts of rbe atleast in film 24p material. i did not test any 3d modes as for me passive guy the 2d is the quality of 3D with dual projector setup. im super sensitive to the rainbow effect and i was impressed how low it was. though still even this unit would not get into my setup as i have a bad habbit of scanning the fov with my eyes and moving your eyes from left to right always reveals the rainbowing. and it makes me feel somewhat sick. but those interesting of 1 chip dlp unit i think it seemed a really good unit to put in your "one to see" list

The advantages are variable, depending on the display and game being played. It's typically better than 3DTV Play, due to the 720P@60/1080P@24 limitations of 3DTV Play.
NOTE: 3D Vision "requires" an Nvidia emitter to be enabled. 3DTV Play requires a $40 stand alone license to be purchased. However, if you own an Nvidia emitter, it can be used to unlock 3DTV Play for free as long as it's connected.
