It's called "Simulview" also refered to as 2D A-B mode

I've read that you can do it with a projector using RealD CE4 glasses and an EDID emulator.

I'm seeing some of the new 3D HDTVs supporting it now, so perhaps there is a chance that Nvidia could/would do it.
This only work in 2D (the youtube link)....if you have a LG 3DTV you have to purchase "LG Dual Play" glasses...I have a pair and work perfect. Works with every game where you can split the screen for 2 players playing (player 1 left screen, player 2 right screen)...activate the 3D and voilá you can play 2 player in the same screen (using the full screen area for each player). The bad thing its only 2 people can see what happens in the TV/game...if there're others people watching they dont see s**t.

Almost a year old...wonder if anyone subscribed.
So this is just using the side by side 3d mode of the TV to show the left half in one eye, right in the other? Doesn't this stretch out each side?
I don't want to invest in the glasses if it's just a stretched out half view.
