I do not think 3D Vision supports 4way SLI.
Try making one of the 4 chipsets a dedicated PhysX GPU.
Helifax would know, he had two GTX 590s.

I had 2 GTX 690s in my rig. Games ran fine with 4 way SLI, but i am using Windows 7. Only recently pulled one of my 690s out in an attempt to get Saints Row IV to work in 3D surround (didn't quite work).

I don't have any issues with Win 8.1 so far unless I don't know what I'm looking for. What kind of issues are there that you know about?

Well, some of those issues don't affect anything I do or use atm. TR seems to run fine. Haven't tried any of the Batman games yet. And SLI and 3D seem to work ok. But now I'm wondering if I should go back to just plain win 8. The only problem is, the key I have is good for only 8.1. I know this as I did try and use it on a Win 8 install.
Before I get too far ahead and hijack this thread more than I already have. I have one final question. Can anyone tell me how to do a fresh win8 install using a win8.1 key? I did google the heck out of it and came up with nothing.

I'm not sure it's possible, if it's an 8.1 key. You could try using any old Win8 key you find online to install, then change the key after it's installed to your Win 8.1 key. That *might* work, but I wouldn't count on it. Take a backup first so you can quickly restore if it fails.

Is it possible to run Skyrim in 3D Vision with 2 GTX 590 ?
Windows 8.1 x64
Thanks,
