you wont understand the tradeoff if you wont read that pdf.

BTW fillfactor on current LCD's can also translate into worse (noticably) blurriness, maybe on a CRT (or else) you can judge it better.

I have read the PDF,but I'm not really excited aboud it...
The examples are not convincing ,maybe if they show a movie comparrison...
Imo, I get the same results when I take a few steps away from my screen,or if I lower my lcd sharpnes.

yeah LCD "sharpness" with those framed pixels, LOL. (softwere sharpness compared to edge detection, and 60% LCD fillfactor d00d really you can't compare!!! ).

wait i'll show another comparison pic, how anti aliasing (keyword: OVERSAMPLING) should be judged. Which is better? Imagine you'd see the "another" variant on such display too. Note this isnt even edge detection.

The arrows look smooth, but still a lillte gray'es

It's funny how you dislike lcd...
If you had to chance to see my screen overhere ,you would be amazed...
It's the new XL2370 from Sammy... so much better then the old ones..

But that's a little of topic.. ^_^
