New Samsung led 3dtv 6 series and need some help Anyone else us Samsung 3dtvs
So i bought a new samsung 6420 40" 3dtv and 3 pairs of glasses but need a few pointers. I also have 3d vision so 3dtv play is free for me. Ive read much on 3dtv play software but ive only just tried it for a few moments myself. Ive got a few confusing issues i was hoping someone could help me with.

1) my tv has 4 hdmi connections and 2 dvi conections plus usb and other plug in ports. Right now the PS3 is using one hdmi (for 3d bluray) and the pc is using another hdmi. The tv says it also accepts a 3d signal though both dvi inputs. Which is better for 3d- are both the same just a different way to input the signal or can one accept a 3d format the other can not.

2) When cloning to 3dtv with the 3d pc monitor (pc monitor as primary) i am able to use regular 3d vision with all the features such as convergence and such but when i disable the pc 3d monitor the nvcp changes to 3dtv play and convergence is no longer available. Is this the case for everybody.

3) When using 3dtv play all my desktop showing on the 3dtv is in 3d...to some extent (not using the 3dtv 2d-3d converting) but 3d vision live will not show images in 3d but all the screen around the pic will be in 3d...weird, is this also normal. I have used 3d vision live and seen the pics previously on the 3dtv while using 3dtv play software but it does not seem to ingage everytime. Also so 3dtv play seems to reduce the photos resolution and makes the picture grainy. When using 1920x1080x24fps the image is not moving...why does it look so low res? I can use the 3dtv native conversion and get a better image (not as much popout or depth but still a fantasticly clear image). Is this normal?

4) When pressing the "3d" button on the remote i have an option for 2d-3d or sbs or tb. When i have all these options why when i pick one I only get a "good" image from 2d-3d, both sbs and tb are too distorted. What sources do i use to get the sbs or tb, both of which i have heard are perferable methods to view 3d images. Why can i choose them if the signal is not set to the tv in that format. Are there any devices that out put to the tv in those formats. I understand that 3dtv play does not use either of those formats. When 3dtv play does offer it will i click on those options then for them to be viewable?

5) Ive tired 3dtv play in 720p and 1080px24 but for gaming neither are very nice. I look at my 3d vision monitor and its smooth but when looking up at my 3dtv the image is laggy and colors are off (switch to the tv 3d glasses to veiw 3d on that screen), is this because of the limmits of 3dtv play software or because i have two 1920 screens both using 3d from the gpu and the gpu is having a hard time keeping up to two 3d screens. IF so why then does my reg pc 3d monitor not have lag?

6) When using 3dtv play software my 3dtv has a squished screen, i need to go into tv settings and use the arrows in the corners to get all the desktop to show on my tv. Is there an easier way to do this.... like a single key command.

7) At times my 3dtv while in 3d from the pc and using my reg 3d pc monitor also in 3d (clone screens in nvcp) the 3dtv becomes unresponsive, is this an issue for others also.

8) Software hacks- Taboo i know but its not like im above them. So what are my options for hack software. which are the best and are there ones that work better for samsung 3dtv over another model. I dont want to have to do alot of "code" stuff and was hoping for a simple dl and run type thing. I do not like the 3dtv play image quality, L4D 2 looks like it was being played on a psp but skyrim looked amazing from veiwing on my couch (right up close it looked like crap-L4D looks like crap no matter where in the room i veiw it) and i would not be opposed to 3dtv play for that game. Not sure but if most look like L4D 2 then i would perfur a "different" option...wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

So ive held off posting this for the last few days before i came running for help. Ive think ive got a pretty go idea of the layout of wires, 3dtv play, the 3dtv 2d-3d conversion now but if there is anything like tips someone could add that would be nice.

PS. Funny story here, I got a free movie with my bundled glasses and i decided to try out a 3d bluray movie. Having never done a 3d bluray i figured that i just pop the move into the ps3 and it does the rest. I watched the movie but i was not super impressed with the 3d depth or convergence (no- i didnt read the instructions) but i figured that after coming from 3d vision i was just spoiled. Finished the movie and when to bed feeling pretty good, little disapointed with the 3d depth/convergence but not hating it. Next day i figured id let the kids watch it, they seemed fine also with it.
Turns out i was just using the 3dtv 2d-3d conversion feature. When i started to read the online manual for the tv i saw that i could increase both the convergence and depth from slider bars. Right away i when there and HOLY CRAP-talk about popout and depth. I could take any tv show or movie and have some pretty impressive 3d from a converted 2d image. Happy i watched the movie a second time and was much more impressed.
third day now and surfing the web for 3d blu ray movies and came across a thread talking about setting up the ps3 for 3d output to 3dtv...hmmm i though, what is this. Seems id not set the ps3 to properly output the 3d movie and the ps3 was just outputing a reg 2d signal with the tv again doing the conversion. After the ps3 3d setup in the display setting of the ps3 i watched the movie in real 3d....WoW, popout and convergence like crazy. Much better than the first two times.

I know im an idiot but cool story bro lol
