Just tried this and all working fine here on an RS40. Excellent work and full credit to Nvidia for releasing a patch like this.
One thing is for sure, I can keep the GTX580 card and that is as big relief.
I actually thought it was working ok before the patch but I wasn't loading up a game, just going through the setup process and trying out the nvidia stereoscopic 3d test.
After this patch, games (DeadSpace 2 and NFS shift at least) are playing in 3d and I've also tested 3D BD using TMT and all is good.
Now, I hate to be the sort of person that gets his problem fixed in less than 48 hours of asking about it and then asking for more but....I can't help wondering how much better side by side mode would look at 1920 x 1080/60 rather than 1280 x 720/60 FP.
Is side by side mode something that might be supported in the future by 3DTV play?
And is there a way to get my 3dvision glasses to work at the same time as the JVC ones using 3DTV play?

That makes 1280 x 720 look better now ?
This is not an Nvidia Limitation. It's the bloody limited bandwidth that HDMI supports. Big Stuff up for gamers.
BTW, The Sharp XV-Z17000 didn't make it into this update ?

I assume so, because this update brought support for a larger version of a TV in the ST Series (TC-P55ST30)
