@eqzitara: Thanks for feedback - it was my mistake. Thought SLI wouldn't work because of high GPU load. In 2D load is app. at 60% for all games, seems this does not hold for 3D mode. Utilization is at ~99%.

HOLY SHIT.
I just played the first 20 minutes in 3D. turned off all the lights and put on my 7.1 headphones. You guys are amazing. Someone needs to sit down the developers and make them experience this. I bet they have no idea. I'm still shaking lol.

Agree, totaly awesome game and in 3d it's just frikking AMAZING and the way it's meant to be played :D
Cant understand how stupid yes STUPID most developers seems to be that dont implement 3d.
We all know and so should they know how much more immersive every damn game in 3d is and it will probably sell more to as many wants it.
And it cant be that hard to implement 3d eaiter as some games like this one seems to be easy fixed.
I guess all will change with VR thou, so until then and probably even afterwards all these great guys you know who you are will get it better then some developers self can make so all hail to you guys. As a nerd will say, you guys rocks :D

These convergence/separation settings always confuse me. I'd like to control them via the normal Nvidia drivers using my own hotkeys, but everytime I start the game they have been reset. This is annoying. How do I save the configuration? Also what does Key0,Key1,Key2 mean? I can't set them that way

As a general rule of thumb I usually just delete the Separation lines (Separation = 0x42a00001) in the DX9Settings.ini this will force it to use your global 'Depth' setting but you can also go here: http://gregstoll.dyndns.org/~gregstoll/floattohex/
and do the conversions and add them to the ini yourself ... most likely this is the only real issue you're having with the presets.
When saving you adjust the convergence and depth if necessary as usual and then just hit F7 to save, not Ctrl+F7, but I'm pretty sure you have to select a preset first.
The Key0 you're referring to in the ini isn't really the 0 key on your keyboard, the 0 is in reference to this line (PresetsKeysList = 0;1;2;) meaning there's 3 Preset Keys (0,1,2) the line under [KEY0] (Key = 50) is where the key is actually bound to the 2(50) key, 1(49), 2(50), 3(51)
Keys:
Key 1 - changing presets.
Key 2 hold - low preset.
Key 3 - changing camera UI presets.
... if you do decide you need to change more than just the separation (depth) under [KEY1] [PRES5], *6] or *7], you can also add the line ...
UseByDef = true
... to one of them, 5, 6, or 7, to use that setting by default.
edit: ... just a little script to handle adding your desired depth/separation to any DX9Settings.ini automatically, just replace 0x423aa3d7 with yours from the link above and run in the same folder as the ini.
Save as DX9Settings.bat
@ECHO OFF
SETLOCAL EnableDelayedExpansion
REN DX9Settings.ini DX9Settings.tmp

Hello -=HeliX=-,
Many thanks for what you did.
The game looks really amazing, i have no words.
I wish you good luck strong health and spare time to continue on providing 3D solutions for great games.
Regarding developers of the games which are not able to release a game with 3D profile , it's a shame!

I am having trouble with the Helix mod, ive followed the instructions but it appears nothing has changed. im running a Benq 2420TX monitor with a 660ti Geforce Nvidia GPU. not sure why its not doing anything.
- Also beside extracting the file in the right place there isnt anything else we have to do beside run the game right?

Have you tried any helixmod patch other then this game? I can't tell based on comment. If not try a different game with a helixmod patch and let us know results.
-------------------------
I highly recommend launching the game's .exe from the win64 folder rather then steam.
I dont recommend game in 32 bit. I dont know if they corrected early game issues or not
Layout should look like...
/Win64/d3d9.dll
/Win64/dx9setting.ini
/Win64/shaderoverride/

So far i have tried, Dmc Devil may cry and Dishonored as well. none of these show any changes. I know im extracting it into the right file's and ive run it from about ever .exe file ive seen and no changes to the game whatsoever. so im not sure where to go from here.

It's just odd that it's not doing anything, you're sure you're actually extracting all the files in the .zip and not just saving the .zip into the folder? :) ... or perhaps only some of the files are getting extracted and not all of them, I've actually had that happen before, the dll was in place yet the Shader folders were empty.
With Dishonored (fantastic game in 3D btw ... thanks Helix! excellent job! :D) you should have:
Steam\steamapps\common\Dishonored\Binaries\Win32\d3d9.dll
Steam\steamapps\common\Dishonored\Binaries\Win32\DX9Settings.ini
Steam\steamapps\common\Dishonored\Binaries\Win32\PSscript.lua
Steam\steamapps\common\Dishonored\Binaries\Win32\ShaderOverride\PixelShaders\*.txt
Steam\steamapps\common\Dishonored\Binaries\Win32\ShaderOverride\VertexShaders\*.txt
And then you just run the game as you usually would, from within steam.
Some people have mentioned issues with cracked versions of games in the comments on some of the fixes ...
You could also try dropping a debug dll https://s3.amazonaws.com/-HeliX-/DLLS/Debug.zip into the folder with one of the game's exe to see if you get the red text at the top of the screen, like here https://s3.amazonaws.com/HelixMods/howtoremove/2.jpg ... that should at least tell you if it's working for you.

One more thing in Dishonored is that when you launch the game for the first time the screen goes a bit dark for sometime as it is re-writing some 600 shaders i think :)
Does it happen for you ?

yea i'm really not getting it. and i checked all the files i have all of them you listed in Dishonored. I also extracted the Debugg zip by the exe. folder and i did get the red text at the top. not sure if that means that it is working or not.

Well as long as your a 3D vision/tv play user[I know its stupid but sometimes...]
Try to reinstall DX9.0c is only thing I can think of. Some people have had issues where nothing was working and they reinstalled DX9.0c and everything worked fine. Maybe there is a version thats floating around on same game installs that doesnt have compile shader function(?). Anywho download here ->http://www.filehippo.com/download_directx/
Then delete all that junk with debugger and reinstall clean the patch.
