CyberLink Power DVD 10 - PLEASE MAKE PROFILE NVIDIA! Convergence and Depth is UNBALANCED
1 / 2
NVIDIA please look at CYBERLINK POWERDVD 10, it is going to be an AMAZING PRODUCT...
However,
1)There is No Profile - PLEASE WORK ON A PROFILE
2)The Convergence is off and the screen is unbalanced
If you are watching the right side (or left depending on which side starts first - MODE 1 or MODE 2) it pops out of the screen and the left side dives in
It's like you are standing really close to one side and the other side falls away.....

How did you get it working? When ever I try to play DVDs at 120Hz (3D or not) my Viewsonic monitor turns to tv static like noise. I have to run in 110Hz watch DVDs normally, but switching to 3D always sets my display to 120Hz and causes it display noise. Is there some trick to getting it to run at 110Hz in 3D mode?

1)Make sure that the display type is NOT LETTERBOX, for me
SWITCH TO CINEMA MODE - NEAR TOP RIGHT - 4th button to left from Top right

I have a Viewsonic as well, and I have the same problem. However, it only seems to affect DVDs I buy at the store (which is, obviously, the vast majority of the DVDs & Blu Rays I own!) However, it works with home made DVDs. Family videos, and DVDs of a vacation I went on, work at 120Hz. The 3D works great as well!
I haven't been able to get answer as to how to get the "Hollywood" DVDs to play at 120Hz, however!

I have yet to even attempt to get this running because I find it hard to believe that a 2D to 3D on the fly conversion could actually look right. Don't get me wrong, I love 3D games, and I can't wait for BluRay 3D, but converting a 2D video source on the fly into 3D sounds like something that can't end well. So for those with hands on, how does the 3D DVD conversion actually look?
Edit- nevermind, I saw the other thread on this and read how some liked it and some didn't. Came to the conclusion its a cool effect when i works right, but definitely not a way you'd want to watch a movie for the first time. Gonna have to download and check it out for a bit.

Exactly the same problem here. Oddly, it works like a charm with my Acer H5360.
It looks like the Viewsonic is cursed /verymad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':verymad:' />

YOU ROCK! /banana.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I know we all appreciate you guys having a look. This is an amazing leap in innovation and can only get better. I can't wait until the day it creates seamless 3d from a 2d dvd. All my old movies will be so much cooler. Old b&w Godzilla collection prepare for the 3rd dimension.
Yes I have tried it, and the only problem is it is very hard on the eyes for me. which is odd since I play lotro for hours a day in 3d with 0 bad effects. Hope it all gets worked out.

The reason it doesn't work with the viewsonic monitor is that it does not have HDCP for 3D content (or so I'm told). It only has it for 2D content. If you install AnyDVD in your system, the 3D Conversion will work on your system.

1)Make sure that the display type is NOT LETTERBOX, for me
SWITCH TO CINEMA MODE - NEAR TOP RIGHT - 4th button to left from Top right
Go settings
Display settings
Pick TRUE THEATER STRETCH (Smart stretch)
Start with that
