Would of course like to use 3D vision and my question is how to use 3D vision on this screen. Ideally I would like to use 1080p @ 60fps my screen will have the optional DVI adaptor too.
My initial thoughts were:
PC -> TV via HDMI will this simply work at that resolution and fps?
If not will the DVI slot work? I assume I will need to use nvidia's supplied glasses with this way?

1. You will just plug HDMI from Nvidia Card to new TV.
2. You will disable all other displays except the Panasonic. (In Nvidia Control Panel)
3. Install the 3DTV Play 14-day trial from Nvidia.
4. Enable stereoscopic in Control panel
5. Launch your game...then set your game settings to 1280x720p and it will go into 3D gaming mode.
You can not get 1080p 60 3D yet. There is no graphics card or TV that can do 1080p 60 3D FULLY ( solid 60fps) yet. They are coming but not yet.
