I think youmentioned some time a while ago you were going to take a look at this.
Is there anything I can test for you to get the the bottom of it?
It works, but most of the time crashes the game this is the same in Dark souls 3 as well.

Hi, I'm using E3FX with 3D fix without a problem. I just installed the E3FX before installing the 3D fix, so the d3d11.dll from the 3D fix is not deleted in the E3FX instalation process.
I started using the Realistic package, went to Ultimate and now I'm using the Ultimate version made to work with the Super Turbo Mega Lighting mod. Looks awesome!

Yes, it does. I appear to be getting alot better performance with it as well when turning off the processes it's overriding.
Just tried it now, works pretty nicely with the lighting mod. I don't seem to be having any instability as of yet. Maybe this is no longer a problem with 3dmigoto, and I could have been seeing a driver induced problem.

I just switched to using the latest version (1.33) from the last previous version that was done earlier in 2016 (1.21) and my framerate takes a big hit now. i was able to play at mostly 60 on 1.21, and in compatability mode my game runs at 60 but with the new fixes my game hovers around 35 now with 1.33, any reason this might be happening?
also i tried reinstalling an older version but now it always says version 1.33 (according to 3d vision) even when i uninstalled 1.33 and reinstalled 1,21
does it have to do with the Rundll32 prompt that happened when i installed 1.33?

What's your system specs? Are you running SLI or single GPU? What resolution are you running the game at?
The green text is only set in the newer versions of the fix - if you downgrade or uninstall it can't reset the text because it has no way to do so, so it will be left with the more recent message (driver reinstalls or resetting the profile in nvidia inspector will restore the original text, but will also remove the profile which is necessary for this game even on old versions).

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to modify this to put a delay on when the UI begins to transition when the button is pressed?
As it stands when ever I tap the button it warps the UI which is a bit annoying when quick throwing bombs in combat and such. (I like to keep the FHUD on for certain elements when weapon is drawn.)
In other words Is there something I can add so it ignores transition on press unless held down for a certain time?
[KeyAimXbox]
Key = XB_RIGHT_SHOULDER
type = hold
convergence = 1.0
z = 1
transition = 500
transition_type = linear
release_delay = 1500
release_transition = 1250
release_transition_type = Linear
Should be possible to just add delay=500 to your Key.
Here is the current example from d3dx.ini, which includes delay:
; Example for a momentary hold, but with a delay followed by a smooth

Compatibility Mode is running in 2D, and 3D is reconstructed from the depth buffer. So performance is roughly comparable to 2D. For true-3D, the image is drawn twice, once for each eye. So it's not a surprise that with true-3D there is a performance hit.
It's not related to the fix itself, it comes from the extra work required to draw both eye's perspectives.

I don't know what I am talking about, but if there is a way to make two different images without loosing framerate (compatibility mode), there probably should be another way to make the same with true 3D. Maybe some basic rule in the driver to reduce gpu thoughts to create the 2nd picture once the 1st is ready (in fact must be just a copy with some different parameters).
I have always thought that this performance lost has been the big problem for 3D Vision tech, and the reason to not been used masively in present days (that and the lack of a really good ultra minimalistic design of the glasses). Probably optimizing driver... or maybe a simple hardware adition to help (like with movies), I don't know. The driver is just the same as always, it seems as if there were nobody behind Nvidia bothering about how to improve performance.

No, there is no way.
The driver is working as optimised as it can. There is no way to draw in geometry 3D and get the same performance as 2D, as it requires double the power as you are viewing the scene from 2 different cameras. Your brain as a matter of fact "works 2 times harder" when you are using both eyes compared to when you close one and look only through one. :)

- "ASUS P6X58D-E" motherboard
- "Gigabyte RTX 2080 Gaming OC"
- "Intel Xeon X5670" @4000MHz CPU (20.0[12-25]x200MHz)

- "Corsair Carbide 600C" case

No, there is no way.
The driver is working as optimised as it can. There is no way to draw in geometry 3D and get the same performance as 2D, as it requires double the power as you are viewing the scene from 2 different cameras. Your brain as a matter of fact "works 2 times harder" when you are using both eyes compared to when you close one and look only through one. :)
