what driver is working fine with nvidia 3D? Latest, 416.94, doesnt work although options are correct
As i said , 390.77 is running without problems. My specs: win7 64 (dx11), gtx1070 8gb, 16gb ram. I use this old drive because its very stable and no problems with 3d vision games (and tridef too). And its is proving weel in new games like SoTR. Probably others newers drives can do this too.

Just to confirm ... now with 65% of the game completed without any problem... this game is really amazing in 3d!

Just google that driver number it will show up somewhere. I just starting playing after getting it for 50% off on Steam. I am still using driver 388.71 and it is running perfect in directx 12. Looks stunning!! When I find stable drivers I don't update unless I absolutely have to.

Sorry forget to mention I am Play TV. Yeah dx12 on SBS @ 1080p settings on ultra. First game I have played in 3D on dx12. Got to say it looks amazing!! Only about 15% into the game because I have been exploring every square inch of it. These old drivers have been great no crashes so far.

nvidia 3d vision, driver 417.01 finally i made it working. one problem, after i run the game, if i inactivate 3d, i.e. alt+tab, 3d cant not be activated again. but still there is no crash during game play. But 3d vision causes fps to drop to half i think.

Game crashed for me a lot doing the collections after the story - didn't crash so much in the main game. Then I read this on a steam forum:
OK guys the freezes might seems random. And though it seems like a hardware issue. It isn't. What I have been experiencing is my game would freeze every time I interact with something that I marked on the map. Whether it is a supply cache, treasure chest, monolith, whatever. So what I tried to was to unmark the object I want to interact with, on the map, right before I do in the game. And it works. I will not freeze when you interact with something, if that thing is not marked on your map.
I believe when you mark sth on the map, the game registered the indication that it is on the map. But once you interacted with it, the dissapearing of the object on the map contradict the previous register. Which cause the game to freeze. Beside this kind of freeze I never encounter any other kind of freezing.
Haven't had a crash since not interacting with map marked items - very strange bug but it is what it is. Still get random sound dropouts though.

Gents, FYI:
If you want to get ReShade working with this game but the game doesn't launch, then rename reshade's dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll.
Thank you to Helifax for his SLi research and profile (and in extension, thanks to the person on the other gaming forums who helped him).
It's a shame about DX12 not enabling 3D Page-flipped stereo; - the game needs all the performance boosts it can get.
I'm getting 40-60fps with 1080 SLi at 1600p 3DV - the opening sequence was just spectacular - looking forward to experiencing the rest...
Thank you all!
Man this games has some lacking settings regarding display.
1080p and 3d SBS is only a sbs half. lookes CRAP from bigscreen. oviously.
i can run it in 3840x1080 but as the game doesn´t understand it´s SBS full the aspectatio if
totally fucked up. I did not yet test the 3d vision yet but i would assume the performance is much better with sbs format.

The game has native support for 3D Vision. As far as I know there is no fix.
