Hey guys,
My SLI 660s are okay for now, but I'm no longer able to get 60fps on near-max settings as much as I'd like. Thinking of selling them and upgrading to a pair of 770s, but I'm not sure if it's worth it, or if I should hold a little longer (keeping in mind the resale value of my 660s will drop if I wait. After I sell off the old ones, it'll cost around $400 for the upgrade.
Thoughts?

I had 3-way SLI 660ti's and after upgrading to my 2-way SLI 770's (had 2Gb version at 1st/ now 4Gb), noticed a HUGE improvement in titles such as Skyrim, BL2, BF3, Metro, Tombraider, and Saints. I mean... an instantaneous WOW factor when it came to smoothness

OS 8.1 busted the SLI for drivers from what I read, so you are probably only running a single 660 at the moment.
Other thought is that you should wait for Maxwell announcement at least to see if there is anything compelling happening there. That will hurt resale of 660, but would also make 770 cheaper at the same time.

No...I have 3D as well ;)
Both 3DTV play on LG 55" TV and an Acer GD235HZ w/ 3D vision 2 kit...
I have just gone with the Samsung 27" 1440p monitor as my main lately due to my latest Glasses prescription interfering with the 3D vision glasses. Remember bro..I have a total of 7 "gaming" grade rigs running in my home not to mention the 100's I deal with at the shop ;)
I did the "trade up" on my evga 770 2Gb to the 4Gb version just because of 3D and my crazy 2k/4k texture Skyrim mods which eats up approx. 3.2Gb-3.6Gb of Vram in 3D 1080p (2.4Gb @ 1440p in 2D) which is insane. Luckly EVGA just released the newer dual bios GPU's just prior to my upgrade which made the 4Gb version of the 770's I have cheaper (was only $98 to upgrade). So it was an "essential" upgrade IMO (or that's what I told the Mrs anyway lol)

You may very well be correct. I wasn't aware of this, but I just tried eyeballing it with SLI enabled and disabled, and could see no framerate difference in either Tomb Raider or Shadow Warrior. So my cards may have more life than I thought. Do you have any more info on this issue? Otherwise I can set off on a google quest.
SLI is selectable in the control panel, and both cards show up fine in device manager.

Nothing beyond that thread from 3D_Mike that you've already read. Just didn't seem likely that it would only affect Surround and not just 3D Vision, and too much of a coincidence that you are having similar problems.

Just benchmarked in TR, and watched GPU use on the other screen. Both are definitely being used, but only around 40%, and performance is significantly lower in SLI. However in 2d mode, SLI sees the expected improvements.
Did a more through look at Shadow Warrior, and my performance does increase with SLI as it should, so it looks like I'm working properly for the most part - it's just Tomb Raider which is having an issue. Fortunately for me I've completed it already.

FWIW, I upgraded from 2x570 to 2x770 and the improvement is massive (double). The 660 is about 10% (I think) faster than the 570, as well as having more vram, but otherwise this is a comparable upgrade.
