Even though I sort of liked the reboot of Xcom (despite the many, many shortcomings), this new title was just bad. Very bad. If you genuinely like the game though, I still wouldn't hold my breath on getting fixes.

I think it looks interesting, I was more interested when it first surfaced and it looked like it was going to be a 1950s FPS but I think I could still get into it if I could play it in 3D.

I am looking at it but it kind of depends. Basically people assume all UE3 is always the same. Its not.. which is why when you open game without patch you see different results. I basically like modding UE3 because its kind of a guarantee its compatible to an extent [not to mention changes helix's script can work]. But there all different types of versions all requiring different ways. Some of which we can use Helix's script.[This is is not one of them. Completely different.] It really depends on how good I can get it to look within like a day before I decide to drop it/keep working on it. I need to look into what DX11 offers over DX9 on this game as well. Doesnt seem to be any visual upgrades but if performance is shit for some reason in DX9.. well then its not worth it. TBH, you cant expect fixes just cause its UE3. Since the last 4-5 games, each time I've opened a game using the engine its been completely different then the last one. They are definitely transitioning for new consoles.... might even drop DX9 all together.

I can tell its a bad game without even playing it because it uses PhysX.

^You should write reviews. I didn't know Batman Arham series was bad till you pointed it out. Well anywho, game definitely has performance issues. Not sure what is up with "Screen Space Reflections" [Never seen it before] But leaving it on cuts my FPS by 75% Even then FPS is kind of bad.

There's a pretty good chance they'll fix the FPS issues, but I'm hearing reports that it's just not a very good game.

Very taxing, but it can look awesome.

I enjoyed XCOM Interceptor, loved Apocalypse (oh yes I did!) so I am very forgiving with XCOM games :D and liked the look of the Lets Play of the first hour I saw of The Bureau! Can't and wont be playing this in 2D though... @eqzitara What is the HUD like in 3D? Can you disable crosshair if needed? Is that screeny with that Screen Space Reflections on? SLI680s? Gasp!

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

To be honest, I was expecting this game to be very good. Not excellent, but good enough to warrant buying. I'm actually pretty glad it's not, because now I don't feel compelled to add it to my (already large) pile of shame.
