I did try it last night and it is definitely playable. Some small anomilies but we have all dealt with much worse.
Some advice:
1) Your Journal (i believe) is hot keyed to F5. Be sure to switch that so you can adjust your convergence.
2) Recommend setting the convergence between your character and "display". About halfway should do. I also set my depth to about 40%. Don't know if it matters but I am playing on a 61" DLP.
Even though both of my cards are maxing, I am guessing the SLI profile will help

Andrew, is the amount of separation for the "depth" value a variable value that depends on the detected monitor size, or is it fixed? There seems to be tons of different opinions on this.

that's not surprising if you are using the edid of a monitor on a tv that is larger.
depth depends on the monitorsize value in the registry.
the vertical lens flares also seem to be at the wrong depth.
they aren't occluded by anything so obviously they are meant to be in front of everything.

Open .bat before playing any game.
change value 100= 50" monitor accordingly.
If you have a 24" monitor and want 50% more depth. You would need 18" monitor so you would put 36.(double the value)

Is helix looking at this? Was thinking of getting this game. Would be nice if someone here could rate the game (out of 10)
for 3d compatibility. And yes, that would be with ideal convergence, etc.
PS - some (pedantic) people here require that I say s3d instead of 3d - where did that come from? Is any 3d non-stereoscopic?

And does the new patch/driver require helix mod? Or is it good on vanilla with low depth/conv?
Look forward to playing something dark/gritty with 3d ! (or s3d!)

I cannot seem to change the convergence for this game no matter what hotkeys I try to map it to. Depth works but doesn't do much.
Also, this 100% depth thing...how does that work with a xl screen? I own a 3D Projector and my screensize is 100"? I'm now totally confused as to what this depth setting actualy does..
