3D Gaming @ 720P. How to improve visuals and general advice.

Good thread.
Been playing 720p since moving from a passive 3dtv.
Projector at 720p 3d is amazing but i could'nt live with the bulbs dwindling so i just got a plasma instead.
Nothing compares to a dlp with good 3d glasses, the crosstalk performance is out of this world.
I like anything that can give me a better 720p 3d image so i'll be keeping my eye epen in this thread, thanks for it :)

I also play in 720p (i have a passive LG 3DTV and have to use 3DTV play). I recommend SweetFX (eqzitara mention along with others injectors)...with this injector if you only want to add AA and sharpness to image (an not all others stuff like vibrance, saturation, Color, Bloom, HDR, etc) you have to only enable SMAA and LumaSharpen in sweetfx_settings.ini. And this injector its 100% compatible with helix DLL.
I always use the highest in-game AA option + Sweetfx...and tbh my conclusions about quality image (720p vs 1080p) are the same posted in the firt page... 1080p always be the king, but 720p + a lot of AA looks pretty damn close to 1080p...and the performance hit its lower.
Also Sweetfx offers others visual improvements, if you search on google you can find a lot of settings/profiles for different games and comparative pictures....some settings really improve image quality in certain games, for example Dead Space series with Sweetfx looks amazing.

Do DLP projectors give you diamond shaped pixels, is it a DLP thing? On my DLP 3D HDTV I don't have traditional square pixels instead they're diamond-shaped, like looking through a window screen that's been rotated 45 degrees. Personally I really like the look of it, it's like anti-aliasing for your eyes.

As another DLP projector user, I say thanks for this post, eqzitara! I've been using TrueDepth DLP-Link glasses for awhile now, but will be receiving an NVidia 3D Vision 2 kit tomorrow. Hopefully they work better for the game I'm playing right now: Mass Effect 3. The ghosting around bright lights was very apparent with the TrueDepth; like they didn't get dark enough to block the light.
I'll definitely be trying these AA recommendations, also. I was always reluctant to try SweetFX and other injectors with the Helix mod.

TV or projector? There was a thread where a user with a Joker avatar discovered a way to increase horizontal resolution in projectors.
Anyway, do you want more resolution or just antialiasing? The game has an AA option, but it's post processing AA.
Also, there is a LOD bias option in the configuration file that you probably want to edit.
Nvidia released a SSAA exe when they disabled it in the drivers due to the performance hit and the introduction of less costly AA. I've never tried it, has anyone?

Sweet FX uses post processing SMAA similar to FXAA IIRC. Absolutely horrible IMO.
You could try just softening the lens focus of the projector so that it doesn't show jaggies any more?

Isn't this just SGSSAA? Afaik, you needed special flags per game, and blurring occurred. It was somewhat mitigated by clamping LOD, but then nVidia decided to disable LOD clamping, go figure.

Anyway, do you want more resolution or just antialiasing? The game has an AA option, but it's post processing AA.
