About the "Windows" screen resolution. Windows 7 Screen Resolution
Hi all, I have a few questions about Nvidia Cards and 120Hz monitors.
1) You are able to set up 120Hz in the Windows 7 "Screen resolution" menu? (Using por example 1920x1080@120Hz as a Default Windows resolution) Or u need to force the 120Hz with Nvidia Control Panel using a custom resolution or something like that?
2) The only way to go is "DUAL LINK DVI" or you could go with "Displayport" too?
3) Could you give me the name of the future models (or actuals models) that will be available to buy, with 27'' (inches) and true 120Hz input? Like for 1920x1080@120Hz @ 27''. Have any idea about the prices?

I don't really understand the questions but I'll take a jab. Monitors these days are always plug and play so Windows should jump up to 120Hz automatically. The only 27" I know of is the new Acer ( http://3dvision-blog.com/review-of-the-27-acer-hn274h-3d-vision-ready-lcd-monitor/ ), though I haven't been paying that much attention.
Yes you can run in windows at 120Hz, the modes are enumerated like any other.
The only 27 inch panel with 120Hz input is the Acer Zloth linked to above, for the native resolution @120Hz you have no choice except Dual Link DVI.
Given Acer is shipping one, or is close to shipping one, I'd expect a number of other manufacturers to ship similar displays based on the same panel, expect announcements over the next 3 or 4 months.

Oh tanks, i just wanted to know that, because something said to me that you need to "make" a custom resolution in "Nvidia control panel" because windows doesn't support "120hz" input in this menu: (Windows Screen Resolution --> Advance settings --> Monitor tab")
So that's why i was asking this.
Oh nice, im looking for a 27'' 120Hz monitor, because i want to replace my (60Hz) monitor for a bigger one. BUt as i see, i can't do this right now. Thanks for all the models i will research more about this over the next months.
