What is the best 27" 3D monitor?
  1 / 2
Looking to get the best 3D vision monitor from newegg.ca Looking for something that has low ghosting and hopefully no inversion. I'm looking at these two: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236293&cm_re=3d_monitor-_-24-236-293-_-Product http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014375&cm_re=3d_monitor-_-24-014-375-_-Product Not interested in the Rog Swift as as the three I tried had way too much ghosting.

I too have the first one. The color fidelity isn't quite as good as my smaller 23" Asus 3D panel, but I would still highly recommend the 27". I don't know anything about BenQ.

Couldn't be happier with my Acer XB270Hb (Predator Series). This is one of the latest released 3D Vision monitors and I have such a feeling it could be one oth the last released 3D monitors as well.....unfortunately! I am using it in a 3 x XB270Hb Surround Setup! No ghosting issues so far!

I own the BenQ XL2720T (same as the Z, but 120Hz and Motion Blur Reduction only with Lightboost-hack) and I am happy with it. I'm playing in 3D with 1080p and in 2D with 1440p with DSR.

Thanks guys. How is the ghosting on the VG27H? Need to buy from Newegg.ca as I will be getting credit for my 980ti. I can tell you guys that Rog Swift has WAY too much ghosting for me. I tried 3 different models, but they all had similar ghosting and inversion problems. I previously had a BenQ 24t and Samsung 22" and they both had much less ghosting then the Swift. Anyone have issues with excessive ghosting or inversion problems with the VG27H? Also, does anyone know what the difference is between the H and HE? other then emitter built in? I've been having too many issues with 3D, that it was either give up or go back to basics. Went from 3 x Benq surround and gave that up because of performance issues. Went to the Rog Swift, and gave that up because of performance issues (no SLI), and ghosting. Went to LG 4K passive, which is the best looking 3D, BUT again performance issues even with 2 GTX 980ti, as SLI DOES NOT WORK for most games. It's back to 1 1080p monitor for me now. LOL. My pursuit of quality and more immersion has brought me nothing but trouble, and I haven't even been playing any games for over a month because of all the Bullshit with Nvidia SHIT drivers in 3D. I suggest that you guys keep those single monitors and DONT go 1440p or 4K and STICK to ONE CARD. So it's 1080p 3D for now, and I'm eagerly awaiting the ViVE and RIFT for that next level of immersion. I got a taste with DK2 and now I'm waiting for the real deal.
Thanks guys.

I would ..ME.. skip BenQ. I have the Asus 27" and its the 2nd one (other was 24") that BOTH came with NO NONE black like bleed. I hate TN but I have a 10bit other I work on.

I have tried both the vg278h and he, they are great but both have pixel inversion problems like this: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/566852/3d-vision/asus-vg248qe-vg278he-amp-hr-benq-xl270t-checkerboard-pattern-in-3d-mode-no-fullhd-per-frame-/1/ the vg278h is slightly better on this front and as an added bonus can do sbs 3d too!

I have the BenQ XL2420TX which I like a lot even if in some rare occasion I can see a bit of ghosting. It's my first 3D monitor so I haven't tested any other. What I like about THIS monitor is the builtin IR emitter. Unfortunatly I don't think there were any newer model after this which came with a builtin IR emitter. Too bad because I really like the fact I don't have to plug an external emitter. I'm also interested in moving to 27" and higer res like 1440p but there is only one and the price is out of my range... it could have been a good idea to offer the same monitor with and without Gsync like the PG278Q and the PG278Q(G) but oh well... even there with all we can read about it I prefer to keep the one I have now and wait. A bit discouraging 3D have slowed down...

Does anybody has an experience with BenQ XL2730Z? I know it's a freesync monitor, cause I don't care about GSYNC, I only care about 3D Vision and 1440p. How is it compared to Asus Rog Swift in terms of 3D Vision quality and Quality Control issues?

As far as I know the BenQ XL2730Z doesn't support 3D Vision. Just have a look at the manufacturer's dedicated page for the monitor. There is absolutely no mentioning of 3D!

Speaking of TFTCentral, there is a useful TFTSelector on the website to help select a monitor according to some preferences... unfortunatly it does not offer the option to specify 3D Vision. I invite you to drop a line to email@tftcentral.co.uk and ask to add that option. I did it a few months ago as a tweet and he was open, maybe he just need a reminder and more requests from 3D Vision fans.
