Help info about NVidia 3D
Hello guys, first off all, sorry for the poor english (i'm Brazilian).

I need a little help with 3D stuff from NVidia. I'm planning buy a new Video card (i'm think about GTX 560 or 570) to use with a 3D TV (not a monitor) and of course is not a "3D ready PC" from some brand like Dell, HP, etc...

I have seen the 3D tv compatible list at Nvidia site, but i found a lot of information that let me a little confused. I mean, i see somethings like "3DTV Play" to buy from US$39.90, something called "IR 3D Vision emiter" that i don't find to buy anywhere...

So, in resume, to Play games with a NVIDIA Card and a 3D TV with a "self made" PC, what i really need?

Thanks a lot for the information, and sorry if something like this is at forum (but i'm don't find it).

Hey there,

In order to play 3D games using a 3D TV you would need one of the following:

- A 3D TV Play License from our online store for 39.99

Or

- A 3D Vision kit (Glasses and Emitter) or Wired 3D Vision glasses.

With a supported 3D TV from our list of supported 3D TV's on our website: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-system-requirements.html

And a compatibles GeForce Graphics card.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

alright, so whats the difference about
"A 3D TV Play License from our online store for 39.99" and "A 3D Vision kit (Glasses and Emitter) or Wired 3D Vision glasses."?

THANKS A LOT for the answer.

If you own a 3D Vision kit Wireless or Wired, with it connected to your PC you will automatically have the 3D TV play functionality activated in the drivers.

If you have no need for the 3D Vision functionality on a 3D Vision PC Monitor, you can purchase just the 3D TV play license to activate this functionality as an alternative.
