I tried 3d vision with Dirt 3, yesterday.
There might be a few issues, but actually I was positively surprised.
Even Surround 3d worked nice and the immersion was great.
To me the launch version of Dirt 3 seems to have less issues than the launch version of Dirt 2.
Shift 2 looks a lot worse.
Hopefully I'm wrong as I'd really like to play this in 3D. But I'm not holding out hope.

3D on the PS3 is a completely different story.
Putting the 3d-logo on a PS3-Game means it has to work out of the box flawlessly in 3d.
And that's what Codemasters didn't want to put too much effort into.
Of course the PC version isn't optimized for 3dvision.
But there comes another good thing about the pc-platform.
You can still get good results on an PC even though the programmers didn't focus on this issue. /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Yet another example of how 3d vision is failing then

It's not failing ,it's just not a 3d title/engine...
Well this game plays good enough, on high/ultra settings with 8x qcsaa using 3dtvplay at 720p i max solid 60fps and about 80% gpu usage, this is with oc's gtx470 at 777mhz.
shame i cant do 1080p, stupid lg tv :(

I also saw one website where it says Codemasters has no intention of offering Dirt 3 in 3D.
