Wolfenstein - New Order any word on 3D?
  6 / 11
I need some help, please. I followed helifax's tutorial and I have Wolfenstein new order working as helifax shows in the tutorial, but I need the real 3DVision mode and not the side-by-side mode. How do I change this? I have all the settings right on NVidia Control Panel (all other games work fine), so I think the problem must be on the Inspector wrapper profile. Thanks.

Tutorial? ... For the 'Debug' version of the Wrapper? ... I'm pretty sure you want the fix on this page, just make sure to remove all the Debug files before installing the fix.

You could try and get the profile that comes with the dev version (3DVisionWrapper) add it with nvinspector and add the exe to that profile. (You will have to remove it from the current one before ofc). Are you running 3D Vision? or 3DTVPlay? (It shouldn't be a difference though...) Another thing do you see the emitter kicking IN (bright intense green?) or do the glasses turn darker (as they are receiving a signal from the emitter)? If the emitter turns green it means 3D Vision activates and the profile is working correctly. If not there is something wrong with the game not picking up the profile :-s Hope this helps to pin-point where the problem is.

The right lens of the glasses stays clear and the left lens stays dark. I also tried adding your dev version of the wrapper profile (and inserting the exe into it) manually and the result is the same.

Did you clean the older drivers before installing the 344.65 ? I recommend using DDU and not upgrading/downgrading the drivers. There clearly is a problem in the 3D Driver (on which the wrapper is relying to work). As you can see the stereo rendering is working, but the driver is confused as in which format to display this... What you describe sound to be the exact problem I am seeing with 344.75, 347.09 drivers. I would also recommend going to 344.48 instead of 344.65. Those are the latest drivers that I could find in which all parts of 3D vision are working properly (unlike all the other versions where some stuff is broken).. Hope this really helps, as I am at a loss :-s

Open 3DVisionWrapper.ini, look for the line: DepthMultiplicationFactor = 1.0 ... under the [3D_Vision_Global_Settings] section, change it to something higher and save.

@whyme66 This game works fine with Windows 8.1 and I'm using UHD Samsung UN55HU9000 with 3DTV Play and HDMI checkerboard. This wrapper is a little harder to install it Uninstall the wrapper Launch the game and set the all your options also, Go in-game and set your Resolution. - Disable SPACE SCREEN REFLECTIONS - It will give a MAJOR FPS boost. The effect renders BAD in 3D anyway. - Set Shadow resolution maximum to 4096 !!! Also if you own Xpadder and you play with XBOX 360 controller map the left trigger to right mouse button. Disable any MSI AFTERBURNER OF EVGA PRECISSION X running EXIT it Reinstall the wrapper When prompted to install C++ select repair since it should already been installed (twice 32 bit and 64 bit) after that the wrapper will import the Wolfenstein profile. Now when launching the game you should see Helifax banner "Wolfenstein the New Order 3D vision wrapper" The game should be in 3D A few tips, This is not like the common wrapper since it openGL every time you update the driver you must uninstall and reinstall the wrapper. There is no green text like other NVidia 3D patches. The banner is the only indicated the patch is installed. If when launching you get a side by side image this means the profile didn't install reinstall the wrapper. This is a great game in 3D second play through and I give a lot of credit and Thanks to Helifax.

If when launching you get a side by side image this means the profile didn't install reinstall the wrapper.
This is a great game in 3D second play through and I give a lot of credit and Thanks to Helifax.

Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, I still do not see the Helifax banner, and the game remains in 2D. I tried both 720p and 1080p HDMI modes (I prefer 1080p, even with its slower 24 fps - we need HDMI 2.0). EVGA PrecisionX disabled and README recommended launch option were added to the game shortcut, and I disabled Windows 7 compatibility mode for the game.
