both have the same issues and similar response times
the LG has a LED backlight though, which provides superior backlight bleeding-less lighting

Does anybody own the LG W2363D ?

I heard the overdrive can not be deactivated, so 2D image is a bit too sharp.
Is basic photo-editing still possible or disturbs the overdrive too much?(Cause I don't only play games on my PC)

I'd say wait maybe still a little bit (few days/weeks) to see how Asus monitor performs, and consider that one too.

overdrive does not cause the "sharpness", stupid vendor configuration in the firmware does.
