Recently bought a NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision Stereoscopic Glasses & Samsung 2233RZ 120HZ LCD Monitor Bundle. Followed the instructions that came with the glasses. Uninstalled the display driver (Quadro FX 4500 X2) and re-started. Now the system will not boot. Did not change anything else. Any idea what went wrong and how I can fix it? It is my work machine, so need to get it up and running ASAP.

Sometimes rarely it happens that some component dies on drivers uninstall if it is already with one leg in the grave (but there is not implication that driver uninstallation causes component death).

Do you have multi monitors, I had a similar problem where it would just stay on a black screen, unpluggin all other monitors (leaving 1) allowed it to boot
I could then re-connect the other 2 screens and it was ok from that point.

It does work on XP and XP 64, just requires some manual messing with the drivers. This has been confirmed by ESRI. Not sure yet regarding this Quadro card, but they have also gotten it working on several older versions of the card, so I am optimistic.

Means when I power on it goes through the cycle of checking all the hardware, but then stalls. Just about everything in the system is brand new and was working perfectly, but yah always the potential for something to be dead I guess.

Will put in a GForce 8800 and see what happens...
