Can't find a solution 2233rz is not right
  1 / 2
/confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Just bought, this weekend, a Samsung 2233rz monitor and 3D vision kit. But, i can't just make it work right. And I don't know what else to do.
I'm using the DVI-DL cable that came with the monitor, got 195.62 drivers and everything else right, I think. The problem is that I can't get a Higher resolution. The only ones I got are: 1280x720, 1024x768 and 800x600.
Did I installed something wrong? Or forget to do something?

Using:
Intel Q9550
4 GB DDR3 RAM
2x 9800GT
Windows 7 Ultimate

Yes. I did.
I'm getting crazy. It doesn't work on boot. Just when widonws is loaded. And doesn't get the right res.
Could that be Windows 7?

Oh...the driver you mean, is the one that came with the CD?
I installed both, Samsung's website and CD one. But nothing happens.
It does, at device manager, recognize as Samsung 2233RZ, but not at the Screen resolution menu.

Yes. Could that really be the problem?
Should I just get the other off, or should I reinstall the drivers and etc after that?\

And...after its all ok, could I be able to turn it back on? Or 2233RZ works alone?

At this point I would try everything. I notice you have 2 9800GT I assume you are running them in SLI and both montiors are plugged into the primary card? I would attempt to disconnect the other monitor and just try with the 2233RZ alone first.

Did you try to force the native resolution of the monitor from Nvidia Control Panel?

There might be some issue with the cable, can you try the monitor on another PC or try with a different cable, even if it is not Dual Link just to see if you'd see higher resolutions?

Oh...Forgot!

It got 1680x1050 when used the CD driver, but with 60hz and when I got 120hz it just went black again...
Could windows 7 be a problem? Monitor driver or something like that...
