I got my pjd6221 via FedEx just now, as Viewsonic agreed to replace it for the cruddy 6220-3D which was the source of all my 3D nightmares.
Hooked it up and...
No Ghosting
No Gamma problems
No XGA Sync issues
Reversed Sync, but I plugged in my eDimensionals that were gathering much dust, and now the sync is correct and the eDimensionals work great, even at 120 hz.
I couldnt be happier, 2 months of the worst experiences ever, now all solved in one fell swoop! Thanks Viewsonic /hug.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ! I rate this projector highly! Zero Ghosting, bright (2700 lumens), long bulb life, no sync issues anymore!
I feel like a soul that has been wandering the earth finally set free because someone finally buried my bones...

So my initial reaction and post was me trying things out in the daytime. Upon relooking in the evening, there is definetley ghosting present. Its green and not as bad as the blue I used to get, but its there and its bothersome. I also tested on my laptop and its exactly the same. Some cable tests tonight as well. Im determined to eliminate the ghosting entirely. I can see that its a timing issue. I could have swore there was none before! Mind you this is still an unsupported PJ, so Im hoping the new drivers will clear everything up.
Sigh, sorry for the mispost guys. Next time Ill be sure to test a long time before I post.
The Edims also present more ghosting in the Nvidia glasses. It must slightly off put the timing as well. I have the long range emitter set up so I can hook up the minijack into the plug on the Nvidia emitter. Again, more testing this evening. Ill let you know more....

I totally disagree with you!!!! 3D Vision glasses are way better than the older e-dimensional glasses. I don't suffer from ghosts or anything like that, I see the 3D effects crystal clear with very sharp definition.
Maybe it's the projector you got combined with the glasses that causes ghosting. I have the 2233rz Samsung 3D ready monitor.

I hope your right, theyve done nothing but ghost since I got them. Edims just arent, but I hope that a driver update will take care of it! Its gotta be the driver!
How come some work perfectly and then others complain about severe ghosting with that monitor?

That's odd buddy!!! I've never seen ghosts at all in most of the games I played. Batman, RE5, COD5, SFIV, NFS Shift, Left for Dead, Dead Space they are all perfect. It kind of depends what games are you trying on?? I mean Crysis looks horrible in 3D, to many glitches, blinking, it's unplayable in 3D. Dead Space is very cool in 3D, but has a few ghosts in the lights but that's a very small issue. All Games I've played look awesome in 3D, only Crysis and Warhead have serious issues.
I'm not sure it's the system or even your DLP TV, It might be the game, try to play newer games 2008 and up.
Like I said I see crystal clear 3D sharp definition, it looks amazing, like 3280 x 2100 resolution, I use 1680 x 1050, but in 3D it looks way better than this in 2D, so the feeling is like the resolution doubles....
Hope you solve your issues. Try to use driver sweeper and install the new 1.12 drivers and see if it gets better

Its odd indeed and its pissing me off. This is my 2nd projector. Like I said, this one (pjd6221) isnt supported officially, I have to select CRT. But again, the Edims work perfect while the Nvidia ones have to be worn upside down and still ghost. Im just waiting for down the line when they will work right, if not, Im good with the Edims which dont ghost and look awesome in all the latest games (RE5, Batman, NFS Shift)
When the pjd6220-3D was "supported" I got major blue ghosting and gamma problems. Looks like Nividia could be having issues with DLP projectors. One day I will be reformatting with the latest drivers, but not right now.
Trust me Im an old timer with this stereo3D stuff. Ive been using 3D since the old EVGA ones on fat CRT monitors (when they flickered your eyeballs out)
But as of late it seems Im going backwards, geting the latest tech and getting worse results.

But are you saying that it does not work correctly with the 3d vision glasses?

Why the hell do the Nvidia ones ghost? The image may be darker on the Edims, but i would rather have that than ghosting..
