Now that "DCS: A-10C Warthog" has finally been released, you may find that it won't work with 3D Vision.
If you want the game to work with 3D Vision now (as we wait for a profile...), here's what you need to do:
1. Within regedit.exe, go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D\GameConfigs\dcs
Enter a new string value called "Link1" with a data value of "Launcher.exe"
2. Now within the Options menu of the game, select your native resolution *and* check the box for "Full Screen". I didn't do that at first and nothing worked.
This should get you going until we get a profile. For the record, I am using the 266.58 drivers on Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

Thanks for sharing the tip.
I have not yet purchased the game.
How does the game look and feels in s3d after making that tweak?
[/quote]
It's looks really good except the sun and mouse cursor are rendered at screen depth. This makes the clickable cockpit extrememly hard to use, if not impossible at times. Another problem that I *think* I noticed is that the distant horizon appears to be rendered at screen depth as well. You can notice this at higher altitudes when the horizon is not horizontal (parallel with the top/bottom edge of the monitor).

i want to use 3DTVplay with A10C final release. but i do not know how to setup a 1280x720 screen resolution. anybody out there who knows how to do?
resolution is availiable and can be used perfectly for other games. but it is not availiable in A10. is this a bug or a feature...?!
How is this game with most recent drivers?
I just bit on steam for $40 bucks.
Just started playing KA50 again today with 280.26 and turned don depth to 33%.
The game (KA50) still looks pretty incredible in s3d.

It works and looks great with 280.26 in 73" DLP.
Got steady 60fps with almost everything maxed out.

Hmmpf, i just installed DCS A10 German (v1.1) but 3D dosen´t work (3D TV Play). The paths for the hack are not avaible anymore.
Anyone else got the same problem? THX for any Help!
just follow the hack I used (one above your post).
It works to some extent but better than none.
Earth texture is more like 2D but virtual cockpit is definitely 3d.
As long as you use F1 (cockpit view) than you won't miss much.
However if you any other views than F1 than your mileage may vary.
The drivers are mis-recognizing this game as WRC 2010.
EDIT: I also know why, it's because WRC is recognized when the process name is Launcher.exe, as one can see in nvidia's Resource.dat file. Kinda dumb to recognize it that way, as the exe name is much too generic.

Help!
3D worked well in DCS with the 285.xx driver. Since update to 306.xx it dosn´t work at all in 3D.
The Workaround is installed, all kind of seeting (fullscreen mode, no HDR, 720p mode) didn´t change anything. THX for any hints indeed!

Damn the Depth is ultra strong, I put it to like 5%... (CTRL+F3)
Thanks Steve for the infos
But I added a 2b : Editing the option.lua to add 720p ^_^
Before it was 2d and recognized also as WRC 2010
Don't forget to use 285.62 or later Driver and http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-support-update-utility-driver.html
