Maximum Depth Hack Go beyond 100%
  5 / 10
I have been trying to run this registry depth hack over the past couple of days but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm running Windows 7 64bit so the only things I've changed in the .txt files are the values. I'm also using a G15 keyboard so have set hotkeys for the shortcuts. Where do I put the shortcut files, in each game folder I want to depth hack? Do I have to do anything with the regini.exe file? Should the monitorsize value show as being changed in regedit once the depth has been hacked? HELP.
Where do I put the shortcut files, in each game folder I want to depth hack?
You can put it anywhere it doesn't matter, and no.
HELP.
I'd suggest reading my post on the previous page, if you want to lock the keys just use the Allow.bat & Block.bat code I supplied, like I mentioned in the post the Block worked without issue but the Allow needed to be Run as Admin on my setup. You could try running the Block.bat(mine, the original one(s) won't work when Run as Admin) as Admin and see if that works, also you can add the line PAUSE at the end of the bat scripts, so you can read any error messages that would otherwise just disappear when the window closes.

Hi guys! I'm planning on buying a 27" 3D Vision monitor, but now I'm actually quite scared about letting my eyes pop out if I set this *insert tech word here* to (drastically) more than 100%. Will something like that happen if I just turn it on for like 10 seconds and test out if my eyes start hurting? Or will my eyes (if it's too much) just hurt but not pop out?! This question is meant seriously :) Niels

Easiest way to do it is small incremental increases in depth, sit a little closer than you normally would and just play for a few minutes and see if it hurts your eyes, if it doesn't, keep going. Once you think you've found your max, get someone to look at your eyes and double check you dont look like this :) http://cdn.avsforum.com/b/ba/babc9e9c_139-are_you_a_wizard_large.jpeg

Your eyes will be fine. There is no chance your eyes will pop out, you just won't be able to see the image, it will separate into two images. Your eye movements are controlled by muscles. Like most muscles, they have their comfort zones, and they will get sore if pushed too hard out of them. But also like most muscles, extreme movements that cause mild discomfort are actually good for them as it helps them get stronger. That's why optometrists recommend taking regular breaks from the computer to do eye exercises such as looking as far left, right, up and down as you can for a few seconds, or by looking at something very far away followed by something very close. Doing so keeps the eye muscles active and healthy. I'm not saying that cranking up the depth to ridiculous amounts for extended periods is necessarily great for your eyes. I'm just saying that a little bit of discomfort here and there is nothing to be afraid of. As Bob says, use your judgement and common sense and you'll be fine.
i dont see the Zip File, please resume steps for this i am very interested

If you guys are just looking for a way to increase Depth beyond 100%(DepthHack) you can either lock the registry key, write the registry key in a loop, or write the registry key and read it in a loop and write it again when it changes. The way the drivers work they write the MonitorSize every single time you start something in 3D, the read loop I came up with is fast enough to detect it, rewrite it and quit without locking or hammering the registry key. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/673425/3d-vision/some-questions-regarding-acer-h5360-5360bd/post/4100030/#4100030 But if you want to lock the key, I messed around with this also. On my setup it locked the key perfectly fine but when it came to unlocking the key it had to be run as admin, which couldn't locate the Allow.txt because running as admin changes the working directory. So I rewrote it to work with 32/64 bit OSs and ECHO the txt files into the Temp folder and run them from there, and as RegIni is native in Windows 7/8 all you really need are the bat scripts and HotKeyPlus[or AutoHotKey] if desired. I'm only including the MonitorSize if you want to write any of the other Values just add the lines with ECHO before them like MonitorSize is(ECHO MonitorSize = REG_DWORD 0x00000030) Allow.bat(RunAsAdmin)
@ECHO OFF if EXIST "%PROGRAMFILES(X86)%" SET $WOW=Wow6432Node\ > %TEMP%\Allow.txt ( ECHO \Registry\Machine\SOFTWARE\%$WOW%NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D [1 5 7 17] ECHO MonitorSize = REG_DWORD 0x00000030 ) RegIni "%TEMP%\Allow.txt"
Block.bat
@ECHO OFF if EXIST "%PROGRAMFILES(X86)%" SET $WOW=Wow6432Node\ > %TEMP%\Block.txt ( ECHO \Registry\Machine\SOFTWARE\%$WOW%NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D [1 5 7 17] ECHO MonitorSize = REG_DWORD 0x00000030 ECHO \Registry\Machine\SOFTWARE\%$WOW%NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D [2 8 19] ) RegIni "%TEMP%\Block.txt"
