3DTV PLAY : Red messages in Windows Media Center 7
NVIDA could you please remove those red messages in Windows Media Center 7 ?

This is very disturbing, because everything works great when you want to play a Bluray 3D with TotalMedia Player 5 WMC7 plugin or PowerDVD 11 WMC7 plugin...

The screen is switching well from 2D 1080@60p to 3D 2x1080@24p... No problem !

So why those red messages about incompatible 3D mode at launch of WMC 7 or when you come back to WMC 7 in 2D after the end of the Bluray 3D movie ?... Useless !

Last WHQL drivers for 480 GTX with 3DTV PLAY...

To reproduce the problem : Buy 3DTV PLAY or install the 14 days demo, or plug the 3D VISION USB Emitter... /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

To avoid the problem : uninstall 3DTV PLAY demo, or unplug the 3D Vision USB Emitter...

Can you list the exact red message you see and at what resolution you are seeing it at?

In Windows 7 Media Center, i'am in 2D 1920x1080@60p, and when the Bluray 3D is launched it's automatically switching to the right 3D mode in 1920x1080@24p.

My 3DTV is a Samsung plasma PSC50C7700 compatible with HDMI 1.4 standard... This 3DTV of course don't support DVI-D input 1920x1080@120p 3D Vision mode (this is the reason why the red messages appear i think)...

In games and in Stereoscopic Player for example, the 3DTV PLAY software is needed to comply with HDMI 1.4 standards... When i plug the USB 3D Vision Emitter, it's activating automatically 3DTV PLAY so I don't have to pay for gaming in 3D on my 3DTV PLAY...

In 3D Bluray playback, no need to pay for 3DTV PLAY or to plug the emitter : 3DTV PLAY is free for this use...

When i do not plug the USB 3D Vision Emitter (or when the 14 days demo version of 3DTV PLAY is not installed), there is no red message at all : When i arrive in Windows 7 Media Center or when it switch back automatically to 2D mode 1920@1080@60p after a Bluray 3D movie playback : free 3DTV PLAY don't display any red messages in WMC 7...

The problem is when i want to use Steroscopic Player or play a 3D game : I have to plug the USB 3D Vision Emitter or pay for 3DTV PLAY...

But I have to unplug the emitter to avoid the red messages in Windows Media Center :

When I've forgot to unplug the USB 3D Vision Emitter (or when I've installed de 14 days demo activation of 3DTV PLAY), each time I launch Media Center, and each time it's come back to 2D 1920x1080@60p in Media Center after the playback of a Bluray 3D, the red message appear !

Dont't know the right message in english because i'am french and the messages too, but it says that "1920x1080@60p is not a good resolution, because HDMI 1.4 don't support 3D 1920x1080@120p"... It says that I have "to switch to 1080@24p or 720@60p that are 3D HDMI 1.4 compatible modes"...

Buy those red messages are useless in this case : When i launch a Bluray 3D in Windows Media Center, the plugin of PowerDVD 11 or TotalMedia Theatre 5 are switching automatically to 3D 1920x1080@24p...

And you know 1920x1080@60p is the best mode in 2D on a 50 inch TV set... To avoid the red messages i could be in 1920x1080@24p 2D but it's not a very good mode in 2D gaming... /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

So everything works great... The only problem is the red messages that are bugging me when i let the Nvidia emitter plugged !

Is there a way to remove all those red messages in Windows Media Center ?

In general when we are not newbies in 3D, don't you think that we should be able to disable all those red messages in NVIDIA Control Panel ?

Thank you to spend some time on my problem...

Regards,
