Rollermod + Windows 8 consumer preview Problem
Hey,

I have a Problem with Rollermod.ini and Windows 8 consumer preview. When i try to update the Monitor Driver, Windows says i cant install the driver because he "does not contain digital signature information". I already tried the DSEO(Driver SIgnature Enforcement Overrider) Tool to make windows install the driver, but it still wont work:( Someone an Idea how to get 3D vision without 3Dplay work again?

If that's the case, I'll never use Windows 8. That doesn't make sense cause even Nvidia beta drivers don't have this digital signature information. If Windows 8 doesn't accept non certified drivers, than I think I'll be using Windows 7 for a long time.
You got love Microsoft....

Did you use the same installation procedure as you did when you installed rollermod in Win 7?
hopefully it's shortcoming of beta version and will be fixed in the retail version.

Yes, i did exectly the same. It was also working on wdp without problems. There is an option to disable digital signature enforcement, but it doesn't work. I hope ms will fix this soon.

Edit:
Ok i found a way to install the driver:
I've downloaded the official Samsung SM2233RZ Driver here http://s5.cmailhost.net/driverslib/dfiles/displays/samsung/samsung_2233rz_1.0.zip and replaced the content SM2233RZ.inf with the content of rollermod_2.inf. Then i have start the setup, select the driver and clicked ok. Now it Works

ok having same problem but that link gets me an exe file not an inf file. How/where do you get the SM2233RZ.inf file?

correction.... I did get the file when I ran the exe however after inserting the rollermod contents in the file it would still not load. I get the digitsl signature error.??

You can download my Version here: http://www.2shared.com/file/CzKiY6yS/SM2233RZ.html
This also works with the Metro UI. You have to extract the file and then run the setup.exe and install the driver. Works fine for me

thanks for the file. it ran and installed the inf fine but for some reason it still doesn't seem to work with my NVidia stereo setup wizard. Setup wizard hangs up and I cant get 3d to work at all . I am using a mitubishi 82 inch dlp , I see the profile is a Phillips. Not sure if there is something incompatible. Rollermod worked fine before.

I guess am sticking with 3dtvplay for now and will wait to see if others get it to work on windows 8.

I've noticed that different drivers work differently. For example, 295.73 wizard proceeds only in discover mode, can't choose DLP in the wizard.
What ver of geforce are you guys running? Maybe that could account for your different results.
