Anyone got 3D Vision working on Widescreen (5760 x 1080) with Fullscreen set?
Using 344.75 driver. Game Version 1808.19 (latest patch).
I can switch between Widescreen (No borders) and original settings (Fullscreen 1920 x 1080) for 3D. But can NOT have both. Tried changing from "No Borders" to "Fullscreen" setting on 5760 x 1080 and it reverts to 1920 x 1080 eventually - sometimes crashes.
Basically can not get 5760 x 1080 with "Fullscreen" set so that 3D Vision can work. Where have I stuffed up?
Thanks.
Try 344.65 instead. No promises, but it's less buggy for 3D in general right now.
Thanks Pirateguy. I'll test it and come back here to report it.

Game doesn't natively support Surround btw...
You need Flawless Widescreen for that...

Thanks Halifax,
Tried 344.65. With no luck...
I do run Flawless with the game. The game itself reverts back to the embedded settings like 1920 x 1080 (100%) when FULLSCREEN is set. When I set BORDERLESS it then sets the screen's (Surround) native setting (5760 x 1080). Of course there is no SLI "Green" Text and no 3D when using BORDERLESS.
Looking at it, the game can only support 3D Vision on Single screen and not in Surround (5760 x 1080).
Happy to know if there is some setting that brings both Surround (5760 x 1080) and 3D Vision together.
Thanks.

That is very weird...since I played the game in 3D Surround (Surround + 3D Vision) with no problems...
Did you reinstall the drivers using DDU?
Maybe they broke the game in a patch? I'll run some tests tonight;))

Ok did a lot of testing.... and for me the ONLY DRIVER that works in 3D Surround WITH the 3DMigoto Fix + Flawless Widescreen is 344.48.
Any other version after, the game crashes if 3D Vision is enabled in NVPANEL.
Any other version before, the game doesn't render properly in 3D Vision.
There is a catch though... If you are running Flawless Widescreen make sure the FIX IS DISABLED, otherwise you get a crash in ntdll.dll
Start the game, ALT+TAB and enabled the fix.

Helifax you are a gentleman...
I will do as recommended. I have not used DDU. I've always used the NVIDIA installer as it works if the PhysX is uninstalled prior. I'll have a look at DDU.
Again thank you for your resolution.
EDIT: Well it looks like the latest version of SOM does not work with any FULLSCREEN with 5760 x 1080 Surround unfortunately. Did a DDU. Tried 344.48. The game drops to the taskbar and refuses to show. It will work only in the preset resolutions for 3D and that's 1920 x 1080
Anyway thanks Helifax for the insight. hopefully others can share your experience.

I just finished the main storyline. The 3D broke during the very last mission - everything became kind doubled or tripled. Not sure if that was just my bad luck. It's not a big deal though either way; the final mission is ridiculously easy (pretty much like the whole endgame) and was over before I knew it.
Overall, it looked great. Thanks guys for the fix!
On another note, I just loved how high-res the textures were (using the high-res tex pack). My VRAM was at 5.5GB or so! This was the first game I've ever played where pretty much every texture looked great no matter what angle/distance I was from it.
Finally, the benefits of 'next-gen' are making themselves known :)

I have a problem to start this game when SLI is ON. Did anyone deal with this at some point. I was using ROG Swift which been running this one on single gpu so I didn`t complain but now when I`m back with old screen I want that SLI with me.

We've used this fix extensively with SLI, so something is likely up on your end. Most likely candidate- bad drivers. There are several driver versions that just break SLI in this game. Try the very latest 347.25, there is at least one report that SLI was fixed with Mordor.

Heyho,
I got a lot of problems running Shadow @ 3D Vision Surround @ SLI
3D works @ Single Screen SLI off
If SLI is activated it doesnt start when 3D Vision is activated.
I tried to deactivate 3D Vision via regedit --> I got it started @2D, but when I activate 3D Vision via Strg T the picture freezes. No chance to get 3D Vision running, also without the fix.
I also tried to change SLI bits to Fear 3 via Nvidia Inspector.
I dont want to play this game with SLI off @ 3D Single Screen :-(
Anybody an idea?
Edit: Suroound + SLI @ 2D works without any problems.
Edit 2: Driver 347.25

While I don't have Win 8.1 on my surround PC I still think that I can test it there (Win 7) since it doesn't seem to matter what Windows version is running on ;))

Thanks.

We've used this fix extensively with SLI, so something is likely up on your end. Most likely candidate- bad drivers. There are several driver versions that just break SLI in this game. Try the very latest 347.25, there is at least one report that SLI was fixed with Mordor.

Like multiple people reported...the latest drivers broke the game support in Surround. Those are the only drivers that work for me in 3D Surround (SLI)

While I don't have Win 8.1 on my surround PC I still think that I can test it there (Win 7) since it doesn't seem to matter what Windows version is running on ;))
I'll let you know what I find out (probably tomorrow;)) )
