Conan Exiles 3D fix Maybe
  8 / 12
Well I tried looking for the correct VS and this time I tried any one that made the shadows dissappear. none that I found fixed the shadows.. I am begining to think they did something and the VS I need to find simply does not exist.. I will just try and keep the fix working without shadows as this is just wierd..

It's really sad. It's a game with a lot of realism depending on whether or not there is a shadow. I hope someday someone will solve this problem.

@Th3_N3philim Remove all the files in the shadercache and also in the shaderfixes (backup them), change this settings in the ini:
export_shaders=1 export_hlsl=2
Start the game, try to visit all the stages if you can so the game dumps all the shaders and quit the game. And then ZIP the shadercache and upload here. I can do a batch to fix the shadows and others stuff.

[EDIT] @DHR here is new one https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B81fgHLRTSegQmh2ZDB2OTU2MWc thanks in advance for your efforts Funcom has updated this just before A lot has changed and graphics quality has improved significantly. If the shadow problem is corrected, this game will show a really fantastic 3d image A new map has been added, the texture of the object has been refined, and the AA has also been improved, making the objects more beautiful.

Thanks! I attach the files as a screenshot....remove the .jpg and extract the file in the ShaderFixes folder. **Edit: If the game implement a Temporal AA....try to disable or use another one, this will make the game all blurry and unplayable. Cheers!!
Thanks!

Hey Thank You DHR ;) Is there a way you can share how you do this with your Batch file so I don't need to rely on others to fix this. I would appreciate it immensely..

@DHR Thanks to the things you have modified I am playing game very enjoyable But one thing I noticed that is some unusual rendering. It is related to your modified Shadows VS Halo.(d00fd828baf51fac-vs_replace.txt) The halo phenomenon is gone, but the reflected light seems to be rendered in mono its not stereo. I hope you can take a look at it if you have time.

@Th3_N3philim I use a program called "TextCrawler" to search for the matrices and later replace. Since UE4 don't have headers in the shaders i can't look for the headers (name matrices) to locate the shaders, instead i search for the entire multiplication matrix that i want to locate. For example, for the VS Halo shader, i search for:
r0.xyzw = cb1[1].xyzw * r2.yyyy; r0.xyzw = r2.xxxx * cb1[0].xyzw + r0.xyzw; r0.xyzw = r2.zzzz * cb1[2].xyzw + r0.xyzw; r0.xyzw = cb1[3].xyzw + r0.xyzw;
and replace the same code + the fixing code that goes below that. Shadows, Decals, Reflections, etc....have different search pattern. All those search and replace you can program in a batch file and execute one time. I want to make a universal batch file for any UE4 game, but i noticed that depending on the game they change the constant buffer #...and also they change some swizzle (xyzw) in the multiplication or divide, so the "replace" part change depending on the game. @ndlrjajdlfo That sound like the enverimental reflecions used in UE4...is a compute shader...Using the "shadercache" you upload seems that "d13b42213af385ec-cs" is the correct one. Also there is a PS that produce a similar effect and also is mono. I will upload the fixed CS later....you need to test if works. **EDIT: I UPLOAD THE FILE, extract in the ShaderFixes folder

@DHR I just tested it with the cs file you uploaded. It has not been fixed yet. I do not know if this will help, The ps file I created when I hunted was 384f5d8dd780ce8e to get rid of the phenomenon itself Does it have anything to do with this?

Add this extra shaders in the ShaderFixes folder. Remove the .jpg extension. Also don't remove the CS shader....it probably fix some reflections.

@DHR after off work I tested it works correctly now really thanks! btw i have a question I found like below in your fixed txt //dcl_temps 20 dcl_temps 25 Why did you change it to 25? Can not numbering like 21 or 22 or 23 or 24?  Why do you always change that number to another number?

That declares the number of temporary registers the shader uses - if it's too low you can get a GPU crash (or if not you personally, someone who tries the mod might). It should be set to one more than the highest number temporary register used in the shader, so DHR will be adjusting it based on the new temporary registers he used.

thanks to DSS and @DHR You have solved the shadow problem and also solved the halo phenomenon around the various flames that disturbed the eyes These two were the biggest obstacles in 3D. Now if fix one more thing perhaps this game will accept excellent ratings of the 3d grade if you have time please look at this file 4b795722c0f798b1-vs ec4def24062fcc33-ps The phenomenon is that the texture looks dizzy from a distance It's normal when I get close and look sideways. But it is dizzy from the front. Textures that exhibit this phenomenon are commonplace on the map. It is most commonly found on rock walls. below is capured jps after hunting ec4def24062fcc33-ps all rock wall has disappeared https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B81fgHLRTSegMjNQZXl2NlRkaGM
