I'm creating this post in childish anticipation of the sales.
In just about 6 hours I'll start posting here the games that are great in 3D and 75% off, or Daily Deal, or Flash Sale.
I got my backlog down to Shadow Warrior and LEGO Batman 2, but my wish list has 33 games on it, all with the 3D fixed by our great community. So I hope this post will increase visibility of 3D games on the forums, but maybe also in the world at large, since these posts appear in Google searches.
Who knows, one day developers and Nvidia will correlate this interest in 3D with game and hardware sales, and posts such as this can help, I think.
Let the buying and playing madness begin!
:-)

Don't forget to follow the 3D curation pages. I do a lot of the recommendations on the first one below, and I'll try and keep it up to date with any daily deals (and possibly flash/community ones).

I follow your work since my first question with any game that has piqued my interest is does it work with 3D Vision!?
This has been very helpful, keep up the good work!

Nothing too impressive yet, but it just started.
I'm gona grab MGS:Revengeance - 80% off for 3.99EUR. Even if it's not a Special/Flash sale, games discounted more than 75% are normally not discounted further.
I want Styx as well, but it's only 50% off , and I think it might get a little lower.

Keep in mind that Steam has implemented stricter region control and gifting policies recently.
Hmm a quick look shows that Nvidia in the 347.09 release notes "Best gaming experience for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Elite: Dangerous"
EDIT: Under 3D Vision profiles it states Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes - Not recommended
anyone try metal gear 5: ground zero in 3d? its $13.39 on steam
Erm, it looks like this...

I believe there's a free demo. It's handy software, I personally use Ultramon, but I hear DisplayFusion is good too (and currently being updated, as opposed to Ultramon)

Not quite Steam Sale - but BF4 is $20 on Origin. Same engine as DAI and my fix script works on it, so this one might end up being fully fixable. Not sure yet, bo3b and I are looking at some oddities, but it should be. I only have one crummy screenshot, but you can see where it's going, especially if you have looked at this in CM mode which is really flat.

This one reminds me a lot of the way Splinter Cell looks without any patch. No idea if they are related in any way.
Right now 3Dmigoto blows up on this one, so I'm taking a look. This one is presently in the category of "we have no idea if it's possible."
Journey of a Roach is at 90% discount for 1,49 and I think it looked pretty good last time I saw some pics (can't check it now so I don't know for sure): http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/4everAwake/image/53ad96b0d475fe692b0000f1/

I don't think I like the changes made to the structure of the Sales.
They were a little more involved before: three votes per day, Flash sales every 8 hours, etc. Now it's one vote every 24 hours, and some rotating sales every 12 hours (apart from the obvious Daily Deals).
So I just realised that Styx was discounted 50% as part of one of those "every 12 hours" deals. Since these seem to replace Flash sales, and the urban legend (confirmed during previous sales) was that a Flash sale game would never get a deeper discount during the current Sales season, do you guys think that Styx would get lower than 50% off?
Yes, I seem to be a cheapskate, who knew? I don't know why I'm fixating on Styx, maybe I just need a stealth game. Thief will also be discounted at least 75%, so I'll probably be ok.
Have you guys played Styx, and would say it's worth buying even at only 50% off?
Also, what's the deal with no longer getting Tokens/Cards with every 10eur purchase?
Jeez :-)
