91.31 Forceware drivers will not install Using 7600 GS OC from BFG
Hi everybody!

I've recently bought the e-dimensional wireless shutter glasses. I was using an ATI X800 card with the generic e-dimensional drivers with very spotty results. I found that NVidia was the only video card maker that supports stereo glasses so I bought the BFG 7600 GS OC card. I've installed the latest 93.71 Forceware drivers for the card and they installed without a hitch, but when I try to install the 91.31 Forceware drivers for stereo I get an error message and the installation terminates. The message reads "The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit." The Nvidia website claims that the 91.31 Stereo Forceware drivers are compatable with the 7600 GS card. Is there a way to get the 91.31 NVidia Stereo Forceware drivers to install on my computer? Do I need a different NVidia graphics card? I'm using a home brew computer with an MSI 865PE Neo2-V motherboard and an Intel P4 3.4 GHz socket 478 processor with 2 gigs of memory. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The Foreware and 3D stereo driver have to match. So if you use the 91.31 3D stereo driver you have to have the matching 91.31 Foreware driver. There is also a beta 91.47 3D driver at guru that works with the release Forceware 91.47 driver.

I need help, i have crystal eyes 3 shutter glasses and nvidia Quadro 980 XGL card. I have an application[oglplane .... aC++ program/.exe file .... to test stereo...came with shutter glasses on CD ] that runs in stereo. Now i came to know that we can install stereo driver and then all application that run in full screen, even openGL application, will run in stereo mode.

I installed 91.31 forceware driver and 91.31 stereo driver but when i run openGL application in full screen, the output is not in stereo :o . I tried all combinations no sucess. If any one has idea about how to do it then please help me.

2. As an alternative .........

I selected anaglyph(Red/Blue) glasses and the test application ran just fine, i got red/blue glasses from a comic book and the results were great. Then i tried to run openGL sample program in full screen, assuming that it would be rendered in stereo mode by the new driver.... but alas no success... i thought that any thing including the screen saver when ran in full screen will run in stereo mode, but it does not happen so. Any help regarding these problems is appreciated.
