Bioshock Collection - Bioshock 1&2 being upgraded to DX11

Thanks guys for the real 3D report on the re-mastered versions of 1 & 2. Saves me from having to download and find out a no go. Are there any real notable differences in graphic quality or is it merely subtle?

For example there seemed to be either more or better bump/normal mapping on objects to simulate geometry. Not really any other visual improvements I can see outside of those. The old version on Steam takes around 5GB of HDD space. The new one takes around 21GB. Would I buy the new version if I did not get it for free? No, but I do find the improvements enjoyable. Now since this is the 3d vision forum I expect most here to prefer the original release as you can play that in Geometry 3d thanks to the community fixes.

Thanks terintamel for the comparisons. Improvements look good. Has anyone tried to get it working with SuperDepth 3D shader? I may play around with it this weekend if I have time.

Look very good in real 3D with Colonial Marines profile and Infinite helix fix, but lights, reflections etc are broke. Also tweak can be found here http://www.pcinvasion.com/bioshock-remaster-pc-fixes-for-fov-mouse-audio-and-more.
I found the Splinter Cell Blacklist profile works well for CM mode.
I just tried that profile and at the default convergence level the image looks off. Not really sure how to describe it. Once I lower the convergence to fix this issue the CM mode really loses almost all sense of depth for me.
