Just wanted to say that Homefront really surprised me, and even tho there is no 3D vision yet I find myself playing nothing else at the moment and my glasses are catching some dust.
The game play is rock solid and makes the competition look dated, they definetaly brought the fun back to pc / fps. It's hard to put it into words but Kaos put in all the little nice details into Homefront. The weapons are really nicely balanced and sound effects / atmosphere is amazing. Oh did I mention you can crouch and prone! I don't think there is a demo but just wanted to let everyone know that it's worth the 49 bucks for sure.
I respect Kaos big time now. There support for pc gaming has me pledged for good. Now where is the DLC?

[i]Surprising response. I wish I could share your opinion; I was much looking forward to the game, but I was let down on all fronts(no pun intended). Honestly, it feels and looks dated. I tore through the campaign(not like there is much holding me back in terms of a challenge) quicker than the "Relic" section of "Crysis" on Delta difficulty. It was a good idea, and you could tell some areas got heavy focus from the developers, but these days it takes more than a fresh idea with the hardware capabilities at present. Especially when we are staring into a generation of console ports, that are manned by frustrated PC gamers.
On your Crouching & Prone comment...in my opinion that should be mandatory for all shooters, tactical or otherwise...that was the largest "poo poo" on "Bad Company 2's" part.
Granted Kaos had officially stated they weren't going for a jaw dropping game right off the bat, but that attitude is defeatist, and was boldly shown in this games presentation. I believe his comment was made somewhere in the same sentence as the Call of Duty developers, which quite honestly is as overrated as it comes. I would rather watch Charley Sheen do Shakespeare than play any of the new Call of Duty titles for more than one sitting. They all feel like the same game, with different models...oh shucks. That's right...they are the same game with different models. Genius! /stupid.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':stupid:' />

So we must hand it over to our tame PC tweaker. Some say he sticky tapes a block of uranium to his dinner before eating it and that he sucks moisture out of ducks. All we know is, he's called Hooks.
I think that once Battlefield 3 comes out it'll set the bar higher for these developers to make games more immersive. Im kinda a graphics whore and need something to fully get me into the experience, and from what I've seen from the videos of Homefront......it ain't it.

Visually, homefront is very good under 3D Vision, I see no problems at all.[/quote]
The game either works in 3D or it doesn't. Maybe there is a simple case of user error for those that say no 3D in Homefront?.
