Black Ops - Activision Support Convo re: NVIDIA 3D Vision & Crosshair
12/02/2010 07:47 PM
Any word on a fix for the crosshair while using NVIDIA 3D vision? I really want to play the single player campaign. THanks.
Response (Edward Keeley) 12/01/2010 03:44 AM
Hello & Thank you for contacting Activision!
Unfortunately, we cannot answer questions about a game or update until it has been released.
12/01/2010 03:42 AM
With respect, the reason I bought this game was because it was Nvidia 3D Vision ready. In it's current state it's not 3D ready, that cursor is messed up and gives me a headache looking at it.
You really have no idea when they will fix this? Because I can't play the single player. I wanted to play it in 3D you know?
Hope you can find something out. Shelled out $60.00 for this bad boy so I could play it in 3D.
Thanks for reading, hope you can find something out.

Hello & Thank you for contacting Activision!
We would not have that information here. I recommend you check the boards at http://callofduty.com/ The developers moderate those boards.

Any ETA on when the crosshair will be fixed for NVIDIA 3D Vision?
Response (Edward Keeley) 11/29/2010 11:39 PM
Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the crosshairs in the game.
11/29/2010 04:52 PM
I'm using NVIDIA 3D vision as the game is 3D ready. But unfortunately in the last patch the crosshair is broken when using 3D. Can you find a way where I can simply turn the crosshair off?

Well thats good news. It's hard to play zombies in 3d when the crosshair is jumping all over the place. /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

They don't even have to fix the crosshair, just let us turn it off or set the crosshair transparency to 0.
I'd rather have it turned off so I can use the sights of the gun which is far better and more immersive.

We can't force a company to design the crosshair a specific way. I would suggest emailing Activision/Treyarch to submit your suggestion. They have a good support team:

They don't even have to fix the crosshair, just let us turn it off or set the crosshair transparency to 0.

We can't force a company to design the crosshair a specific way. I would suggest emailing Activision/Treyarch to submit your suggestion. They have a good support team:
