Thanks for all the comments and others opening up as well and relating. Sorry I haven't been able to respond properly, yesterday turned into another 13 hour day at work (plus one hour for lunch, and with travelling time and grabbing a bite to eat after work I pretty much left first thing in the morning, was out for 16 hours, and came straight home to almost go straight to bed), and I spent almost the entirety of today with the gf. I read through people's comments throughout yesterday on my mobile as I had a break here and there, but didn't have enough time to formulate a proper response at all. I'll read through this again tomorrow, maybe, and hopefully get back to responding to a few of the specific comments and questions. For now, though, to answer the most common question people asked about was my job, to which the answer is that I work as a technician for Canada's biggest telecom company (shouldn't be too hard to figure out which one for those curious enough to investigate, but in case you need a hint the name suitably rhymes with the word "Hell"), that has been going through a major expansion (changing from DSL to the first city-wide fiber optic network available in Canada) and has created an abundance of demand for our services. Believe me, I have absolutely no delusion towards them giving any more than zero f***s about me beyond their opportunity to exploit me to their fullest to get as much out of me while they can before I keel over from exhaustion or leave a broken mess. I, too, have wondered about the legality of the amount of work they force upon us, but apparently since they are federally regulated, rather than provincially, they are able to get away with far more crap than they could otherwise. What makes things even more frustrating is that in the beginning of the year our minimum wage for the province had been substantially increased, to being only $1 less than the starting wage for where I work. In my profession, on a daily basis we work under the risk of injury and death and can be fairly strenuous, so to be making barely any more $$$ than someone flipping burgers or serving people coffee at Starbucks is a bit of a mindf*ck in itself. Fortunately there is regular growth in the wage, and top rate is double that of minimum wage, but that takes almost 10 years to reach that. I've most certainly thought of and attempted to find work elsewhere, especially since a year prior I was making nearly twice what I'm making now doing first level IT support for a bank, but the problem is that Toronto has become such a bustling metropolis that it's nearly impossible to find gainful employment because there's just so much competition for the jobs that are available, so companies have hugely unrealistic expectations. For entry level jobs they expect a university education, 3-5 years experience, and for you to work for peanuts as well. Despite me having 5 years experience working in IT (although an incomplete post-secondary education, so no degree under my belt) I've only had one response from the hundreds of resumes and applications I've sent out over the past couple years, which ultimately is what led me to accepting the job I currently have (at a much lower rate than I was willing to work for) and hence why I feel like I have to stick out my current employment. Fortunately, as of the beginning of this week I have just had a bump up in my seniority status, and we have a new collective agreement in place, which should result in some fewer hours and unreasonable demands at work, so hopefully that will allow me to function a little better and have better quality of life. As evidenced by my last post, I'm still yet to see those benefits start to kick in, and apparently it's just taking some time for things to smooth out (apparently there was an "error" with me and a few others applying our new seniority status, and therefore still got treated like we were of lower status), but when things do I *should* be a bit less stressed and exhausted and a bit more time doing things I want to. Anyways, thanks again for everyone's responses.

I don't have a list of games but I've been using 5.1 sounds since at least 2011. Samsung complete package. Sometimes headphones are preferable.
