@Nvidia ..why no Side By SIde or Top/Bottom output mode?

I'm sure Andrew promised SBS support some time ago, but it seems to have been forgotten. It's only my opinion, but it looks like some genius at Nvidia thought that project Shield was a game changer so they'd rather concentrate on that. They've lost the plot.

+1 for anamorphic TB/SBS Checkerboard on lg la790 looks ugly. 3DTV Play's 1080p 25Hz is too slow :) 720p is looks better, but it still far from 1080 half top-bottom with TriDef... in main... Unfortunately in some games TriDef is not works properly.

+1 for SBS and i would also like to see mosaic/surround for 2 monitors, so we could use SBS for passive 3D dual projection systems. I think Quadro drivers is doing SBS at least Mosaic grid 1x2 is used when doing dual projection passive. nVidia could sell it as add on to 3D vision if that would suit them better...

+1 for SBS. Or does anyone know of another way to force SBS or TB or Sequential Frame 3D to work? Maybe by an 3rd party tool?

My actual User Name is "Sevion" but as Nvidia is horribly incompetent whenever touching anything software-related, they just screwed up my User Name when migrating their forum. Don't be like Nvidia, learn proper programing.GTX 980i7 4790KGA-Z97X-Gaming 7

I wish it would happen but seeing how Nvidia is going around their business its not going to happen since they love to stick with their constrained ecosystem forcing you to keep buying their products only. 3dvision will stay alive thanks to the community not because of NVidia gives a fuck because they dont. I love 3d gamming but as of right now I have ZERO games to play in 3d so my 3d emitter/glasses is a dust catcher. Helix will write dx11 wrapper, than opengl wrapper and the community will learn how to fix thing and it will be the same story when Nvidia will give us one 3dvision ready game per year.

All possible modes and even EDID management and more are available on their flagship commercial products and their driver sets. Need anything more be said?

I thought along time ago NVidia would have us over and just wait for hdmi 2.0 to get 1080p 60fps 3d, but then will they even bother, Nvidia and apple are family in my eyes, total tossers that lock things down for no reason and this makes thing stagnant !

It's 2016 and we have 4k TVs that allow Side by Side and Top and bottom option. Also VR head sets like OSVR, can use side by side. At this rate I don't think NVIDIA even Cares about 3D any more. TriDef Hardly gets any updates and it's still offers better options then Nvidia when it comes to 3D output.
