A declaration of Love to Optoma. Warning: Sarcasm may occur.
I purchased my Optoma HD67 early. After getting help from you brilliant guys, I have my acer-edid file doing the driver-thing necessary to get 3d working.
I expected nvidia and optoma to come to terms and fix the problems many of us have been having, lets say by a driver or so.
I am so happy to hear now that there is a NEW projector out, the HD67N, and Optoma wants me to buy this one too! I have spent 1000 USD on my first item, and now Im gonna put in another 1000USD? I said I have already bought their 3d-ready projector, so why cant they just help me out with the new firmware? The HD67N firmware can easily run in my very "old" HD67, they even admitted. "Sure we can help you, it will cost 350 USD".
Where is the company that cares for the customer? Isnt it we who drive the 3d-industry forward?

$350.00 for what? For labor or just sending you new firmware?

They refuse to send the firmware. You have to pay shipment to and from plus the work which under no circumstances will cost less than one hour work, here in Norway that will be 150 USD.

Not suprised tho, with that 3dXL pricing they already made things clear imho.
