Just wanted to let you know I setup the beta software and 3d TV works perfectly for me so far. I bought the new Panasonic TC-P54VT25 a few days ago and it happens to be the one you used as the test model in the directions on how to install 3d TV.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know it works, 3d works fine and games are fine so far. No problems, other than wishing we could run it at a higher res.
How to use 3DTV with GeForce 470, which has HDMI 1.3? What kind of software I need for HDMI 1.4 support? My videocard is MSI N470GTX.
You have to wait for "3DTV Play" to be for sale and buy it. It is really just a software license to use the hdmi 1.4a support that the current beta drivers can otherwise already do for free. If you own a "3D Vision" kit, you can already do it with the newest beta drivers without buying "3DTV Play".
2) The manual says: Ctrl-T turns 3DTV Play off and on. The 3D TV will appear in 2D mode and the glasses will no longer be needed. Note while 3DTV Play and the 3D TV appear to not be working in 3D mode, you will notice decreased performance when running your games as NVIDIA 3DTV Play is still running and rendering both frames for your 3D games. To maximize performance when not using 3DTV Play, switch to a HD or SD mode.
Does this actually mean that the 1280x720 resolution can't be used for 2D gaming without performance degeneration, since the 3DTV mode steps in automatically in this resolution?
Some offtopic: does this means that using regular 3D Vision (with PC monitor) causes similar effect? For example, you start the game with a 3D turned ON, ingame perfomance dropes, then you disabling 3D by pressing the hotkey, and you still has decreased performance? You need to start game with 3d turned OFF in order to achieve 2D performance? Can you enable 3D while already in game, which was started in 2D? I don`t have my 3D Vision package yet, so please give me an aswer if you can.

What I do not understand is now when I open the Nvidia Control Panel, the Stereoscopic 3D settings section is no longer available?
If I roll back the driver is reappears?

Yes, you can use the 260.63 drivers. You need to install the GeForce and the 3D Vision Controller (IR Emitter) drivers which are in the CD 1.36.
The GTS 250 is not supported, please ensure you have the correct GPU from our support list.
Ok!
My problem was the GTS 250. Once I swapped it for a GTX 295. The 3DTV Play logo shows up. I tested Trine in 3D and it worked beautifully.
Another question (not 3DTV Play related): The GTX 400 series cards pass audio via HDMI as well, correct?
Thanks a bunch!!!

Anyway, just wanted to let you know it works, 3d works fine and games are fine so far. No problems, other than wishing we could run it at a higher res.
Thanks.
