I think at one point Star Trek tried had plans to be a real game or "faked it". Id imagine nvidia pulled funding when they found out the latter.
Still makes me laugh though seeing the videos

The game is out tomorrow. Since I can't go back to 2D I would skip this one in case it's not playable in 3D. If anyone on this forum is getting this regardless of its 3D-performance I would really appreciate a short notice how it works in 3D.........

If it gets good reviews I'll get it in a sale sometime. If its anything like Chaos Theory I'll be severely tempted to play it 2D anyway, that game was amazing fun.

I've preordered for $30 (here, if anyone's interested. First time using this site so I can't vouch for them yet - http://www.gamespasta.com/Splinter-Cell-Blacklist.html?partner=87).
I'll let you all know how it looks.
Not a promising start. On the NVidia page they list SLI support, but no 3D Vision support. Unlike, for example, the Remember Me page.

Another good title is lost to 2D ....such a pity :(

Even worse when you think the game came free with my new Nvidia GTX card(s) (sigh).
Its broken in 3DVision - there is a DX9 mode available (they claim it can be ran on a 8800?). My 780's were pegged at 78% usage. (1080P 'Ultra' settings) Taskmgr showed one CPU thread pegged with 3 others @ 70% or higher.
There is no Tridef profile for it as of yet. Tridef's "Power3D" seems to be the only mode that sort of works. I tried using the last SC game profile and was able to play for a few minutes before the game locked up. At times Sam's body had a halo around it much like the guns in Crysis2/3.
The game looks and plays decent enough in 2D its a shame its not 3D ready (and we could turn off those stupid lens flares)
Oh well.
