Problem with Vizio E3D470VX 47 inch passive 3D LCD
A picture, as they say, is worth a thousand words....
Basically, when I'm in any 3D game (I tried four different ones), I set the in game resolution to 1280x720 60Hz and 3D works great except the image is squished as shown so it fits in a 4:3 box instead of the full 16:9 screen. Notice when I took the pic I pulled up the info on the TV to show the resolution currently being detected by the TV (1280x1470) but I'm not sure if that is supposed to be like that.
This is a brand new Vizio 47" passive 3D model E3D470VX and I'm running the latest 275.33 drivers on a MSI GTX275 "TwinFrozr" (SPDIF piped from a Creative X-Fi Extreme Gamer) with the 14 day evaluation of the Nvidia 3D software. The TV works great with 3D video running SBS, it's only games that seem to have this trouble.
I tried changing the settings under NVidia Control Panel "Adjust desktop size and position" to change scaling options with no impact.
I've tried searching the forums and Internet for someone with a similar problem with no luck.
