No worries, I just wanted to see how cool this game looks in 3D. I got waaay to many games to play in 3D, but damn this looks good.
Thanks to helifax and his tireless, on-going investigation into my unique SOMA problem, I can now continue playing SOMA, with its outstanding 3D and great story - using his latest SOMA wrapper update. His many contributions to the 3D gaming community are truly appreciated!

Thanks a million again to you Helifax, what a great work, the game is so beautiful in 3D :-)
With your first fixes, till the 4th nov I think, the game was fluid, no freezing.
No, with te last two updates, the game is starting very slowly, so much time to begin with and during the first 30 minutes of the game, it's freezing all the time and no easy to play...
I've to wait and even after, it's still slow, less, but slow ...
I got the 358.87 drivers if it could help ...I really don't understand what happened ?!?
Thanks again for your help, so much appreciate ....

That is something unrelated to the fix itself. Try older driver versions. All the things I modified actually increased the fps not decrease them. I have seen no slowdowns like that with the latest fix so I believe it might be a driver issue.

Finally got around to try the game out, unfortunately 3D is not working for me.
Game starts with your opengl wrapper notice window, 3D mode gets activated but in-game everything is 2D. When trying to change the convergence, the view gets skewed, like it's only the same left or right eye which gets rendered for both eyes (the middle mouse button convergence preset does also work, but again, only 2d). Steam overlay shows 120fps during the actual game.
soma.exe configured to run with administrator rights
Windows 10 64-bit with 358.91
GF 780 Ti (no SLI)
I also noticed that the green 3d vision overlays don't show up at all.

The wrapper works. Check your end and debug it... It works for everyone else so far, so I can't understand why it wouldn't work for you;)

If the steam overlay is disabled the steam controller will not work.
I find this problem because I disabled the steam overlay for the 3D patches.

Don't use a Steam Controller but a regular Xbox controller:)
It's not my fault that Valve decided to use the controller through/with their crappy overlay.
Want 3D? Disable the overlay and use any other controller that goes through XINPUT.
Want their controller? Don't use 3D:)
Their approach is weird IMO.

OK helifax, with a lower resolution (1600*900 instead of 1980*1020 and frequency to 120 instead of 144 (my monitor is a 144)and synchro "off", the game is now fluid ...Thank you.
