Just got my Asus VG278H monitor today and I've been trying to get Trine to work in 3D but no luck. I noticed that I am able enable 3D in Trine by pressing ctrl + T, but the built-in emitter does not light up. I've tested this with the wizard setup, Crysis 2, and Starcraft 2 and the emitter does come on.
Any idea why the emitter is not coming on automatically?

There is a bug in latest drivers (285.62 and up, maybe some previous too), so you should launch Trine with checked option "Hide stereoscopic effects on game start", and then enable 3D ingame by pressing ctrl+t. If you won`t use the this option. you`ll get "attempting to run 3D in not 3D mode" error.

System specs:
CPU:Intel Core i7 930 2800@3880 MHz (Cooled by Noctua NH-D14)
MB: Asus P6T Deluxe v.2
RAM: 6 GB Kingston HyperX (KHX1600C8D3K3/6GX)
GPU: Zotac GTX480 AMP! Edition @ 800 Mhz (core)
HDD: 2Tb SATA-II Western Digital Caviar Black + 2Tb SATA-II Samsung EcoGreen F4EG
Thanks, that fixed my issue! I do indeed have version 285.62.
Also, I'm hooking up my laptop externally to the Asus monitor and I noticed that in certain games, like Metro 2033, if I do not turn off the laptop display and only use Asus as the only display, I can not run in 3D. I can't run dual displays. Is there a workaround for this so I can have both displays on at the same time? I've tried setting the Asus as the primary, but it was a no go still.
