Hey everyone, Just a heads up, I'm trying the beta and it's fairly broken in 3D. Performance is pretty good even on maxed out settings, but shadows are screen depth, the hud is at screen depth, a number of reflection/specular shaders are broken, and there's an interesting type of broken shader on the main character. Not sure I've seen a shader break this way before. I've attached screenshots an hour ago, but the forum doesn't want to show that. 3D aside, it's not a particularly interesting game. Cmbat has no weight to it, enemy AI is poor, the whole thing feels like an MMO (because it basically is), it's covered in Ubi Icons, and it's just not fun to play - it does run well and looks pretty though.

yeah the 3d out of the box is beyond broken... http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/tehace/image/56ad60a3e7e564455c0002b8/ http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/tehace/image/56ad60b3e7e5647c68000151/ I was kind of surprised when I activated 3d and felt quite significant performance drop but it turned out the game started maxed out in 4K for me (although I would take even medium in 1080p in 3d over maxed out 2d anyday). I haven't really played out with the easy fixes (settings/profiles) although the game have quite a few graphic options (including some exclusive to nvidia). The game will only be playable tomorrow before so I might be able to check some basic stuff but Im rather pessimistic about this one... 3dvision rating is straight up not recommended. As for the graphics of the beta I dont feel like it matches the initial E3 trailer.

I wouldnt call a game boring Pirate, playing beta version for a few minutes. Give it a chance after release with coop buddies, and a lot of fun will be guaranteed.

I didn't enjoy what I played. I don't find shooters and RPGs to be a great combination for the most part.

I kind of liked the game but thats mostly irrelevant :) first off, the CM seem to work I used AC3, AC5, BF4, BI profiles and they all seem to render well without any artefacts although the depth perception is so low I barely can see the difference when compared to 2d and I wasnt able to adjust the convergence with any of the profiles mentioned. I've also checked different profiles but basically none of them were a fix, although some of them fix the completely broken left eye I have with the default division profile. This is the game with the Max Payne 3 profile. http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/tehace/image/56ae19fae7e5649d630001f4/ Different profiles seems to introduce different artefacts - that blue tint on the weapon for MaxPayne3) and it seems to be a bit random, like the other time I launched the game the whole jacket had it. you can check some of the other screenshots here http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/tehace/album/56ae1905e7e564e938000355/ Than there are the ingame options that seem to mess things up considerably like parallax mapping / AA / etc. Additionally at least for me there seemed to be different issues depending on the day cycle, like when there was a clear sky and sun was shining I had a lot of missing shaders with the mp3 profile but during the night time I had a shitload of flickering and those 'missing' textures behave as if they replicate whatever was beneath them...

If any of the fixers would like to have a look there is an open beta starting tomorrow / today, so you can try it out for free (no pre-orders required).

I wasn`t expecting this game to be so good. It is well optimised and with lots of PC specific video options. If they said that this game will have to look on PC as good as on consoles then I really did underestimate power of those little beasts :/ This game is spectacular looking and only way to play it in 3D right now is Compatibility Mode (AC Unity). Sometimes 3D is loosing depth when some weird options or highlights shows up but other then that it`s great. Game starts with 3Dmigoto and hunting shaders goes without crashes but this game is so messed up that first look at it and every fixer will bail away. I don`t think we get someone jumping on this one anytime soon. There is too many good games on the way and this one will be getting tons of updates every week - so this looks like full time job.

I suspect it will work here as well. If anyone is interested I can share it.
