Samsung 3D Plasma don't play bluray3D + 260.63 drivers Using Power DVD 10 Mark II 2213 last upd
Please, I need help, I can't play bluray 3D using Power DVD 10 Mark II 2213.51 + Samsung 3D Plasma (PN63C8000)

I've just updated my version of Power DVD to 2213 so now I have the HDMI 1.4 enable 3D TV option and also side-by-side and under-over options. I've set Power DVD 3D options source format to Auto Detect format (recomended) and then display device to HDMI 1.4 enable 3D TV.
When I try to play a bluray 3D movie I get the PowerDVD message that to view 3D it needs to be in full screen and that some options will be disable, Ok, everything seems to be on the right tracks, than the screen blinks black and takes 1 or 2 seconds and you think TV will go into 3D mode, but it doesn't. Movie is diplayed in regular 2D, no 3D. What am I doing wrong???
I have my Sammy 3D plasma set as primary display and I see HDMI 1.4 bluray 3D in the Nvidia control panel. So, everything seems to be fine.

It's strange that by selecting HDMI 1.4 enable 3D TV in Power DVD 10 3D options, I see a draw of a 120hz Acer display and a 3D Vision logo. I don't know if that's right, I guess it should show a draw of a 3D TV, not a 120hz display? It feels like the software doesn't understand that I have a 3D TV, feels like it only sees my Alienware 120hz display. Maybe that's because bluray 3D doesn't work with my TV, not through Power DVD 10 and these 260.63 drivers. Maybe with new drivers.

I don't know, I have a strange feeling that it's the same problem I was having with 3DTV Play. We need the 260.63 Nvidia drivers to play bluray 3D using Power DVD 10 2213 in a 3DTV, right?? So, If 3DTV Play doesn't work for some reason with the new Samsung 3D Plasmas, maybe it's the same issue with bluray 3D, as it's using the same drivers. But it's strange though, cause I can see HDMI 1.4 bluray 3D in the Nvidia control panel If I set my TV as primary display, but it doesnt show 3DTV Play logo. So, I can understand 3DTV Play not working with my 3D TV as I can't see the logo, but it should at least work for bluray 3D playback as it states in the Nvidia control panel, HDMI 1.4 bluray 3D.

I'm lost here and I would like to know if other Samsung 3D Plasma owners are also unable to play bluray 3D using Power DVD 10 2213 in their 3D TV's??? Please let me know, cause we must adress this problem to Nvidia urgently.
If you have a Samsung 3D TV LED, or Sony, LG and Panasonic, don't bother, your TV works just fine with bluray 3D and also 3DTV Play software. This problem seems to be an issue with the new Samsung 3D Plasmas.

Please Samsung 3D Plasma owners, Speak up!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to know if it's just me that can't get this bluray 3D with PDVD 10 to work or if it's a bug with these drivers and our Sammy 3D plasma. Andrew already told me that Samsung 3D Plasma don't work with 3DTV Play, as these 3D TV's are not in the requirements list. Not with these 260.63 drivers though...

I hope that's not the case with bluray 3D playback also.

I have a C6900 3DBD player and it plays bluray 3D flawless in my Sammy 3D. Unfortunatelly that's not the case with PowerDVD 10 2213.

Andrew did say that Samsung supports more 3D options than other brands

Do you own a Samsung 3D Plasma??? I know about the 3DTV Play problem, that it doesn't work with these TV's at the moment. But nothing was said about not being able to play bluray 3D using PowerDVD 10 2213.51 version using 260.63 drivers in a Samsung 3D Plasma TV. So, I have created this thread so other Samsung 3D Plasma owners can talk about their experience trying to play bluray 3D using these beta drivers and PowerDVD 10.

Andrew, didn't said that it would not work with bluray3D playback. As far as I'm concern the Samsung 3D Plasmas were left out of the requirements list for 3DTV Play, not bluray 3D playback. Cause I can see HDMI 1.4 bluray 3D in the Nvidia control panel when setting my TV as primary display, but I don't see the 3DTV Play logo, so makes sense if 3DTV Play doesn't work yet, but bluray 3D playback should work at least.

Please Andrew, clarify this information for us Samsung 3D TV Plasma owners.

Hi

Some comments from our engineering team:

The problems sounds like the problem we had with the 3D setup wizard. If you don’t complete every single step, the Blu-ray 3D will only playback in 2D.

Recommendation: clean install of the driver and run the setup wizard again to ensure its set up.
