Im in the UK (Midlands) and have a pretty average speed of around 6-7mb DSL, but curiously suffered none of the stuttering , colour distortion and other issues experienced by others ?
The image quality was not the best but a good sign of things to come.

While yesterday, and into the evening, watching was just a slideshow, I can report that this morning things are quite different. Rare interruptions - mostly smooth viewing as a result, no doubt, of a significant falloff in the number of viewers!

Another day of good 3d golf. Im enjoying this, its such a new expearance. Smooth, clear and no problems having to repaste the url. I perfer to watch golf this way, much more interesting also the landscaping is so alive when seen in 3d. Few things could be changed. Camara angles need to be added and some could be cut. I saw a shrub garden appear to float over the grass. Parts of the fairway seemed to rise up but when players walked across that section it became apparent that is was a dip in the grass not a rise. Some twigs and branches on the corners of the screen dont really show 3d off very well. At one point rain drops could be seen on the lens and was very distracting. being i am used to 3d, depth could have been stronger but for firsttimers/noobs im sure it was fine. I suspect we get a few bonus camara angles to show off 3d but the announcers seem at times to get an even better 3d view then us as they kept talking about balls coming out the screen, leafs blowing out the screen and a few other things that just were not happening for me????? I hope they give us a zooming view at some point, I think that would be very cool.
Cant wait for womans beachball in 3d.................................. /stud.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':stud:' />

I am really happy about this.. not a golf fan at all -- but definitly tuning in to show my support.. sitting here watching the replay / loop at midnight and not really HD but the depth is GREAT.. I would kill for some hockey in 3D!!! hell even basketball or baseball..
I hope this is a sign of things to come I WANT MORE CONTENT!!
Also.. nvidia -- get us that new resident evil: afterlife trailer in 3D - the movie will be the trailer should be!!
I was watching the loop from day 1 - hole 10 tiger woods putt... a leaf or something fell infront of the camera and it had a decent amount of pop out - i thought something had fell of my ceiling..because I was concentrating on the tv so hard.. lol.. Damn I LOVE 3D

I do, well of sorts, and it gives you such an appreciation of how difficult this course is. The pitch / slopes of the greens and the fairways are amazing. This is something you simply don't get with a 2D view.
I particularly like the holes where you tee off over the water, you really get a perspective of how far away the whole is and how difficult these shots really are. Great for teaching / learning.
Just wish the damn thing was in HD,….then I would be truly eulogising

Btw
Why ESPN does not 3D shooting(filming) with 1920x1080i HD format?
Is it same quality when they broadcasting Wolrdcup 2010?
I want to see HD broadcasting not SD quality
If not HD ,then i will not see even it is 3D
Those with 3D-capable TVs should be enjoying better quality 3D broadcast and higher resolution too, compared to what is available with the online stream...

I had to stop watching for awhile there, some with the cams were wrong.....closing my left eye the right image was really blurry. Left side was clear but the combination was unpleasant. Some of the camara angles were showing bad 3d. It looked good up close but the spectators group was completely 2d. Beyond the spectator group the 3d was apparent again. Only thing worse than 2d for me is bad 3d. I will go and try again later, maybe itll be better then of fixed...

Very smooth stream for me, the 3D makes the course seem so lush and sculpted! Some of the shots work incredibly well (like the slow motion bunker chip shots with sand flying everywhere), other shots aren't as remarkable. They're definitely learning how to exploit the medium rather than just doing the coverage they normally do and hoping it translates to 3D. I'm sure the guidance of Vince Pace has a lot to do with that.

I have been watching the Masters every day so far in 3D through the streaming source. I am in Oklahoma and never had any problems. Like others have said, there were some differences between the cameras. I did see some improvement from day 2 to day 3 with quality and camera placement. These guys are learning as they go. Not too bad for people on the front line of a new technology. Things will get better. ;)

I have a question for Andrew. I have been watching the Masters through the streaming source on my pc and my Mitsubishi DLP TV. I know that you cannot watch the 3D broadcast directly from the cable source unless your TV has the new HDMI 1.4 format (3D TVs built on or after Feb '10). My TV has the 1.3 format. I know that Mitsubishi is about to offer their adaptor that will allow 1.4 format content to be shown on 3D ready TVs (Mitsubishi and Samsung) with the 1.3 inputs. After I have the adaptor, will I be able to use my nVidia shutter glasses to watch the direct 3D broadcasts on my TV without going through my pc? I hope that I do not need more glasses to do this. Thanks in advance for your answer. Todd

Why ESPN does not 3D shooting(filming) with 1920x1080i HD format?
Is it same quality when they broadcasting Wolrdcup 2010?
I want to see HD broadcasting not SD quality
If not HD ,then i will not see even it is 3D
