Which drivers 470 and 3d vision
Hey all, just got my 470 from NCIX haven't installed it yet still at work but I was just wondering
what drivers, 3d vision and video card drivers should we be using ??

The Nvidia site has the 197.41 drivers for the 400 series, but the 3d vision driver
is 197.45 ?? Confuzzled..

Yeah you will need to download the 197.41 Geoforce drivers. THEN what I did is download the latest CD. Open it up and install the 3D vision drivers next. Before you do any of this of course uninstall your current display driver. I juuuust updated new video on youtube with Antec 1200W PSU, LOVIN IN!!! GTX 470 rock on! thanks for the info ! windows update automatically installed 197.41 for me lol.. weird..

then i just ran the 3d vision driver.. worked flawlessly !

games are MUCH smoother in 3d now.. and i can turn even higher settings on, aa, ect.. without
losing frames.

just cause 2 for example made my gtx 285 cry a little. now it's an entirely different game.

I am getting a lot of flickering on the right lens with my 470s in SLI.

Is anyone having the same issues? Thinking about exchanging the glasses, but I'm not sure if that's the issue.

No but I'll find out more tonight for you. Haven't played enough in 3D via 470s in SLI to make an accurate statement. Prolly your glasses though idk /omg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':omg:' />
I am getting a lot of flickering on the right lens with my 470s in SLI.

If you are running EVGA Precision you should close that before running a game in 3d. I had the same issue running 3d in SLI w/470's.

Interesting... I wouldn't know I aways close that thing before running games. Still haven't had much time to jam in 3D. I will sometimes this weekend. Overclocked, core bout 674 Shaders 1349 and memory 1850. Gonna go a little bit higher and run vantage again. I will settle for non stop gaming with a 30k score, 29 though ?? no way! lol

Well there we go, gonna leave it like this for now. It should kick any games butt! I will monitor my temps but as far as I could tell it was 70-80 load, 50 -55 idle. My room temp isn't that cool right now but it helps a little. Yeah it's going down as I type. idle like 45-55. /banana.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I use 197.55 for all..

I got a 470... I had a 480 on order but found I could overclock a 470 to run faster then the stock 480 and oc (FOR ME). Mine can to past 800 easy.. LOVE IT. I also took the cover off put two small (ATI CPU fans) on top and the idle temp is 34c and the highest even overclocked is 73c. But whats GREAT is I can NEVER hear the card at all now. I have the Mozart TX so it has great air flow.

^ Wow cool ! That sounds rad I'd love to see a picture !

I've been loving my 470 the last few days... it really eats up anything you throw at it !

It's so nice to have smooth frames and be able to crank up the details and AA !

Temps are pretty good here too.. idling around 45 maxing high 70's during gaming..

Haven't overclocked yet, -are all 470's good over clockers ???

Real good with overclocking as long as you have good air flow and a decently cool room. I'm very happy with them.
^ Wow cool ! That sounds rad I'd love to see a picture !
