PSU for GTX 480 ? PSU Requirements?
I have Ultra LSP Pro 750 power supply. It is 750 watts and details are in the link to amazon listing. Is this good enough for the new fermi cards (say GTX 480)?

Does anybody know the link which specifies the PSU requirements? I found the GTX 480 Product info page which states that it has to be at least 600 watts. Is thats the only thing which is required?

I would really appreciate any information regarding this.

All i know is that it needs a 8Pin and 6Pin power connection. So make sure your psu has the leads..

And just an opinion but i think 750 watts would cut it quite easily /pirate.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':pirate:' />

I have currently a core i7 870 and a GTX 280 in my system and measured the max power used when under full load while gaming.
It was 290 Watt (Idle was about 140 Watt).

So unless you want to build a tripple GTX 480 system, you have more than enough power.

And keep in mind that a totally over-dimensioned power supply will have a very bad efficiency when always at to little load.
