Projector Help
I have gone and taken the plunge and purchased a projector. At the moment I am trying to get it to work with my 3D vision glasses. I have had a look around and gathered that I needed to install an EDID override, I have done this and tried 3 different ini files and my PC recognised the compatible devices. My problem is that the 3D still wont activate after trying them all. I have activated the various 3D settings on the Benq but no luck, I have also used the correct resolution of 720 x 1280. so am struggling for more ideas at this point, I am wondering if I am either missing something really dum or because the projector is new it wont recognise the ini files? I guess I could jut buy compatible glasses (any suggestions welcome) but I thought I would try this first seeing as I have the 3D vision kit. anyway any help would be greatly appreciated, the scale of this thing is awesome to am keen to get the 3D going! Was a bit worried about going down this route but am pleasantly surprised by the quality I have seen in 2D so far. EDIT - sorry the model of the projector is the Benq W1070

What OS and GPU are you using? The BenQ W1070 is typically supported via 3DTV Play and requires that you use DLP Link glasses. The 3D Vision kit will not work with the W1070 unless you override the EDID with an officially supported 3D Vision projector. Once this is done, you'll need to choose the frame sequential option in the projector menu.

I am using windows 7 with a GTX 780. I did try the override to use 3d vision but the 3d still wouldn't activate, I also set the projector to sequential. I may just give up and get some compatible glasses but heard there were good results using the 3d vision ones.

Some of those projector overrides that are posted are not 3D Vision compatible and some that are do not work due to being butchered. If you find a good one, there is no reason it shouldn't work. I have an Acer H6510BD and do it so that I can use 3D Vision glasses
