Sudden Strike 4 3D Vision
  1 / 2
Sudden Strike 4 is a highly recommended WW2 RTS ! Use DHR's "Ghost of a tale" fix and only d3dx.ini + Shaderfixes dir, the remaining files you shall grab from the latest 3DMigoto 64 bit. Outlines, FOW and hud is 2d, just disable outlines in the menu and crank up the convergence, and it looks awesome, I haven't seen any other issues. Will try this and add it to 3DFM! Thx Blacksmith56! DHR posted an offical Universal Unity fix here. Probably this fix is more up to date for Unity Engine.

Shadows are broken and there's also some weird flickering, but the "Ghost" fix works..

@Blacksmith56 Very strange....both have the same "Unity20171_DHR.ini" file....The only difference is "Ghots..." have HUD shaders and 1 Halo shader....nothing more. So you probably enable the line (removing ";") but you don't save the file? either way, nice is working in more games!

I've just tried the game with both the Universal Unity Fix and the Ghost of a Tale fix. I just left all the work to 3D Fix Manager to configure the universal fix. Funnily I have opposite results of Blacksmith56! For me only the universal Fix looks like the screenshots blacksmith has posted. Ghost of a tale fix is broken for me in that game. Is it due to Windows 7 vs 10? However I don't have the Steam version (something else *cough*) Btw @ DHR: Your universal fix is working very well in "Aragami"! Neovad's original fix is broken due to Unity update.

Lol yeah and for me the Ghost of a Tales fix also works when I replace the 32 bit dll with the 64 bit dll. Now it makes sense xD. To make things easier I'll just spread the Sudden Strike 4 fix profile for 3DFM tomorrow ^^. But here are the steps if you want to know how to create the profile on your own: [olist] [.]Click on button "New" in the left bottom corner[/.] [.]Type in Sudden Strike 4 as a Game title. Click on button "Search Steam DB" - confirm dialog[/.] [.]Click button "Detect Game Engine" - confirm dialog[/.] [.]Click on "Create Profile" button[/.] [/olist] That's it. Easy - isn't it? ;)
Btw @ DHR: Your universal fix is working very well in "Aragami"! Really great feature in 3DFM!! @Blacksmith56 I was almost sure something like that was the cause of the Universal fix won't kick in :)

Did you try the Unity Universal fix? That is what they say is working! http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2018/09/unity-universal-fix.html Did you set the ini? It looks like they say it is using 2017 ini setting, remove the ; at the start of the line for 2017, the ; acts as a dis-abler, removing it enables the code on that line __________________________________________________________________________________________________ **IMPORTANT** Instructions: Depending of the Unity version of the game you need to enable in the d3dx.ini the include section: ;include = ShaderFixes\Unity55_DHR.ini ;include = ShaderFixes\Unity56_DHR.ini ;include = ShaderFixes\Unity20171_DHR.ini *Unity 5.5 may work on 5.4 *Unity 20171 works in 2018.x version (i test a few games) ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ I don't have the game, but you can try assigning it to 3DHubPlayer, if the Universal fix does not apply it's own profile. You might also need to add -window-mode exclusive to the game's launch options, since it's Unity (Dunno)
