Well each generation is consistently more like 25% increase, so why has there been no actual benchmarks with standard games. I smell a rat honestly.
I'm predicting about 25% anyway due to the past.

I think it's more than 25% and it has been more in the past.
In my opinion everyone is treating the lack of benchmarks like a conspiracy theory, but Nivida aren't under any pressure to do anything for anyone else, so they can freely dictate the approach.
Regardless, bottom line is that we need to wait for benchmarks as everyone says.

That sort of thing does send out the wrong message, agreed! However, I reckon they're going to be a serious step up. I don't expect we'll be getting much more FPS per $/£ but I reckon we'll be getting what we pay for.
Maybe I'm an optimist! :-)

Here’s some battlefield gameplay with ray tracing.
I wonder if the raytracing has its own resolution compared to the rest of the game as that projector looks like it’s running 4K to me.

Linus tech tips did a average of all the generational releases and it ended up about 25% consistent, and honestly it feels right. It's of course an average so hopefully I am wrong here.
But it's more than a conspiracy theory, alot of people are seeing alarm bells with this release, just based on the past and what we know compared to what they have withheld and I also think it's fishy that they decided to release the TI immediately.
I feel this gen will be short lived and next year we will see a more substantial upgrade maybe finally releasing 7nm stuff

No problem, I agree, Sora has already called me an idiot in another thread but I will refrain from stooping down to that level here.
I've done a good bit of research into the Turin release and AdoredTV, in my opinion, has the most astute analysis out there, and I don't find him as being a fan of AMD, he states that he is excited about Ray Tracing, but is calling out Nvidia on their deceitful marketing practices, and I think that's fair.
