Question regarding saving 3d configurations
Hi,

When I save a configuration, is it a universal configuration for all games? I don't think it saves to the profile of the game right? So technically if I had adjusted one game to look its best and save it, then I go adjust another game and save it, the previous adjustment is overwritten?

Configurations are saved on a per game basis so editing a profile for one game will have no effect on others. Unfortunately, however, depth settings are not stored in the profiles, so if you save a profile and subsequently adjust the depth setting when playing a second game, then when you go back to play the first game you'll have to readjust the depth setting (but not the convergence etc).

Only custom convergence settings are being saved, the profiles are stored in the registry.

Actually profiles can also include some other settings beyond convergence, like frustrum adjustments or whether the 3D laser sight should be enabled.

Does anyone know where they are saved? If in the registry, then under what path?

I'm pretty sure they are being saved in a folder in your user profile. I don't remember exactly what the name of the folder was, but you'll know it the second you find it in your user profile.

Profiles are stored in your registry here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D\GameConfigs
