System has stopped working since latest driver updates
I have not used the system for a while on games, busy in real life, but the PC has been getting regular driver updates and I tried to use the system tonight and nothing is working. I have the following configuration, which has worked in the past with no issues Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 32bit Intel Quad Core Processor 6GB Ram ACER GD245HQ 120MHZ Monitor Dual Link DVI Cable Ge-force GTX 460 Driver 332.31 - 07/01/14 IR Emitter 3D Vision USB Powered Glasses Glasses power up OK Emitter has a dull green light on, when PC is powered up, but pressing the button fails to keep the light bright, just defaults back to dull When I run Nvidia Control Panel, there is no Steroscopic 3D Setup setting options. Geforce Experience control panel for driver update is set to include 3D Vision updates Anyone got a clue, without me uninstalling and starting from scratch to find out what is wrong. I was an early adopter and apart from the initial launch furore, never really saw the worth. Now more games are available to take advantage of the system, mine is not working at all Any ideas, as seems like a waste of my cash and time Even installing the very old drivers (Warning that it is older than installed driver) the monitor is not being seen as a 3D monitor, when it was bought as part of a package to support 3D Vision and even has the sticker on it and is listed as compatible!!

Try rolling back your driver to 320.49, that was one of the last really good drivers, and should work fine with your setup. Be sure to do a clean-install of the NVidia driver.

Thanks bo3b, rolled it back to 320 and did a clean install and it now works. I have turned off auto updates for now, as it seems odd that Nvidia would release drivers which stop something working that worked fine previously

Just out of interest, why do you have 6GB RAM in a 32bit system?
