New drivers 196.75 whql

New drivers, used method described above to make sure I had newest 3d vision from the drivers installed. Seems to work for the most part for everything that worked fine before ... Bioshock 2 in 3D ... artifacts worse than it ever has lol

"Bioshock 2 in 3D ... artifacts worse than it ever has lol" - Seriouslly. Game sucks in 3D. Here is hoping that 2K games releases a large patch that fixes it.

I'm starting to think that labeling something as 3d ready is becoming a curse since non-3d ready games often turn out to look better in 3d than 3d ready games. /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' />

official 3Dvision driver is still 1.20:
NVIDIA 3D Vision Driver Full CD Version: CD v1.20 (GeForce GPU driver v196.21, NVIDIA 3D Vision driver v196.21) WHQL

why not wait a day or two and get the official stereo driver - before starting flames that games are looking even worse than before the driver update?

i think everyone by now should know that the only proper way of updating is by upgrading with matching combo of gfx and stereodriver..

if you install a new gfx driver with old stereodriver - you cant expect it to work properly..

Seems like there up to something right now cause when searching for updated drivers on the US site I get the message: System Message - Please try again at a later time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Same here, I don't dig all this Hocus Pocus. /sorcerer.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sorcerer:' />

Sure would be an easy way for someone to infect someones computer. Hey everyone look I have an updated driver, download me!!! BAM virus. (just an example, speaking only for myself here of course)

Well according to Andrew on a different thread, he gave a time line of 1.5 weeks till a new driver, and Friday will mark that date so I'm sure there coming by friday.

Ah, I missed that. Good to know they're on it, at least. Although I still don't see why we should have to wait an extra week & a half just to get access to the driver package non-3dV users got 2 weeks ago. Even if there wouldn't be a material technical impact to the stereo & emitter drivers, it would be much better customer support to package up the new WHQL drivers with the existing 3dVision drivers into a "CD" version on the WHQL day of release so we can update our drivers at the same time everybody else does.

If I sound a little miffed at this it's because I've been experiencing some problems with 196.21 and am anxious to replace them, but NOT willing to jump through all the hoops of doing it the manual-extraction way. And as loyal customers, early adopters, and practically spokespeople advocates for GeForce 3d Vision I just don't think we should be kept waiting weeks longer than everybody else.
I have installed 196.75 drivers and succesfully installed 3d vision driver 1.20
only now my control panel doesnt work anymore, any suggestions?
Well I used the procedure given before to install the new drivers + 3d vision driver and after playing Bad company and trying out RE5 and other titles I know get a message (that pops up like Game ratings for 3d Vision do within a game), stating that I am trying to play sterescopic 3d in a non stereo display mode, please refer to your mode etc etc. Something along those lines, I 've seen the problme on this forum before, and they stated it's just a driver issue. Could be because I'm running 3-way SLI and mismatching drivers dont work well.

Oh well rollback time and wait for the new driver i suppose...

Interesting to note in the compatibility list we have the 3d browser plugin mention. I think the proper release will be something rather interesting :)

Be careful with the new non 3D drivers, supposedly burning up cards. It messes with the fan control. Check N4G
