Warning: attempt to run Stereoscopic in non-stereo display mode, please change to a acceptable mode.
Unable to Set up my freshly purchased 3D Vision 2 Kit.
Using a Asus vg248 that is nvidia 3D vision Ready
and a GTX 970 FTW Graphic card.
Ive followed all the help from the Troubleshoot button and nothing seems to fix it.
My resolution is set at 1920 x 1080 (native) at 120Hz
On the Change resolution screen the display device shows up as Ancor Communic...
But in the "set up Stereoscopic 3D" tab it shows up as Asus 120Hz 3D LCD and Nvidia Vision Ready
When i get to the point where I choose Triangles and Hexigons my Lenses are reversed.
I have to lie to the software to continue forward.

The fact that it's showing Ancor Communications is normal.
You might have a corrupt driver installation. Reinstall the drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from Wagnard Tools.
Also you need to be using either the Dual Link DVI or Display port connection for 3D Vision.
Edit: BTW one post is enough, there's absolutely no reason to start a second post.
I am using A DVI connection.. and there is more then one on the video card. But i didn't think there is a difference between them. Let me try that. Also installing the beta drivers for a spin.

Thank you D-man. Taking the cover off the other DVI port and using it seemed to fix everything. I got a test and it went though without a hitch. Lenses are no longer reversed and stereo message is gone.

Not all games work well in 3D Vision, for those that don't, be sure to install the community stereoscopic compatibility fixes at

Also make sure that you enable the Keyboard shortcuts and adjust convergence
