Convergence issue Does convergence not work on occasion?
Hey all,
I've been having some issues w/ convergence and want to see if anyone knows what to do or how to fix it. The issue is that the convergence settings can't be modified in game after a certain time frame. For instance, I was able to modify the convergence settings for Battlefronts 2 at one point but for some reason it doesn't allow me to anymore. In NFS: Most Wanted I can modify the convergence settings when I load up the game but it will lock the settings after I play the game for a little bit. Anyone experience these kinds of issues or know how to work around them?

Convergence just seems to be a hit or miss for me.... and I can't figure out why. I wish there was some pregame way to modify and save settings.

I've never run into an issue where convergence no longer adjusts in-game, however, I've found the advanced hot-key toggle in the NVCP tends to untoggle itself quite often....anytime you change something with the drivers like SLI or resolutions etc. So I often find myself having to go back in there and re-enable those hot keys when convergence adjustments aren't working.

I agree though, Convergence should really be enabled by default and saved between playing sessions. Convergence settings don't even stick if you break full-screen mode after an alt-tab. Would also be nice to have an OSD overlay similar to depth and there should be an explanation of some sort of how to tweak Convergence as its really integral to a good 3D Vision experience and fixing the separation issues that come with increasing Depth.
