Personally I'd rather a steam key but you can get it off of Amazon.com for a little under $9 for a PC DVD-ROM version ... http://www.amazon.com/Avatar-PC/dp/B002EZOQZ4/ ... I'm a little tempted myself but I already have it for 360 ...

Also, by chance, I just ran across the Avatar demo, because I'm looking for another demo game.

No idea, but it should be decent.
It's definitely a 'showcase' on consoles, it's more like a PC game with it's own renderer. Tons of options, depth, convergence, etc. plus you could choose checkerboard output which clearly beat the typical 1/2 res SBS console 3D.

People raved about this game's 3D but I hated it. Horses for courses ofc.
I couldn't find anyway to push your avatar into depth. It pops out! And more depth equals more popout!
You can adjust screen-size and some other setting but it doesn't touch the amount your character pops out. Is there any way to push the character into depth like how you play Watchdogs, SR4, AC4 etc.?
Some people might be able to look past the character; I can't. :(

avatar was the first game i've played in 3d on my benq beamer.
i think its an awesome game with some very good 3d out of the box!
some people might not like it, but i think its great!
Avatar was one of the few games that supported "Sensio 3D", which is a format that I really wished found widespread support from Broadcasters and the gaming industry.
As far as I know, Vizio was the only one that adopted the technology into their Displays.
I suppose the downfall was that the decoder required by the display and the encoder required by Broadcasters, must have been cost prohibitive.

I'm wondering if anyone here bought a copy of NVIDIA 3D Vision Kit that comes with an included coupon for Avatar the game? thanks!
