i buy a emachines V700 Beamer as a 3D ready, the beamer has the RS232 Connector for the Vesa Cable.
My Question is: Does i need the VESA Cable? The Driver is not Recognize the Beamer as a 3D Screen...
The Beamer is Connected via HDMI and an Dual DVI Link Cable. But the VESA Cable is not Connected it doesn´t in the Package from Nvidia from the Shop where i buy it.
Important: The Beamer is the same one how the Acer H5360 but an other Firmware.
What can i do?.
The only way to get Work is with old Drivers an the Screen select as a CRT...

That RS232 port is for firmware flashing I would say, I have one on my HD66 as well as probably the H5360 users do.
It isn't used as a VESA port in a 3D perspective.
You should try and stop EDID detection and use Generic CRT as the 3D option, you probably have to create a custom monitor.inf file and load it as a Generic Non PNP monitor as your monitor driver.
Then create a customer resolution in the Nvidia control panel, I would suggest 1280x768 (120hz) or 1280x720(120hz).
There is info in these forums on how to achieve all this and also a lot of info online how to get around EDID (I hate EDID with a passion), perhaps search for the non Nvidia 3D Vision compliant projector threads.
Eg: My projector HD66 isn't compliant.

I read in a other forum we can flash the edid rom, so we need a h5360 edid .bin from a h5360 user.
Can anybody dump the edid from powerstrip and give it to the forum here? that were nice to test... thanks
EDIT: Uggh, apperently there was a second serial number as well :P Removed that too, think it was the maximum of 13 chars there. Dunno if it needs to be filled in.

Thanks a lot! I use the inf file, and nvidia driver shows me the h5360, and 3d setup finds a acer beamer, and anyting whent fine! I will test the edid file, when i got time, thanks a lot, thats the solution.

What if i cannot select 1280/120Hz even with the 5360 INF file installed?
I tested on two PC's, both with xp sp3.
One with Nvidia 7600GT PCIExpress, the other is an Ati 4350 with dvi, hdmi connectors..
I tested with short hdmi cables.
But when i force 120Hz in Catalyst, the resolution go back to 1024x768 or below.
What's the solution? /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I too have purchased a V700 projectors after reading it was the same as a H5360.
I have been using 3D vision for a while wath an Asus monitor and have had no problems, so assumed this would be just as easy. /shock.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I have tried using the H5360inf and whilst windows sees the projector as an H5360, as soon as I open the nvidia control panel, it shows as a V700 and isn't selectable for 3D.
The projector is connected to the DVI port of a GTX580 using an HDMI cable and a DVI to HDMI converter. My OS is Windows 7 64-bit with all the latest drivers.
Any help or ideas would be very much appreciated, as it seems crazy that this system won't work when the only difference between this and the Acer is the name on the front.

not sure if this is what you looking for. Is this pj cheaper than the ACER ? Why you bought it ?
