3D Vision Fix
- Download the archive from here:StarWars Battlefront - Version 1.2

- Alternative FIX by DHR: StarWars Battlefront - Version DHR (Doesn't include the 3 DLCs)
- Unzip everything and put it next to the game exe: Ex: "D:\Origin Games\STAR WARS Battlefront"

================
Recommended SETTINGS:
================
- You MUST use the same RESOLUTION & REFRESH rate both in Windows and in the game !!! Ex: Both windows and game should have 1920x1080@120Hz respectively 1920x1080@119.9999Hz.
- In-game I recommend setting: Post-Processing to Medium (to get rid of extra blur effects and to get a crisper image).
- The Lighting must be set to MEDIUM otherwise TXAA and the main menu is BLACK!
- Rest is up to you.

IMPORTANT:
- You need to disable ANY OVERLAY (Including Origin in-game overlay).
- If you fail to do this, the game will crash at start-up.

- In the ini file you can customize the HUD separation from here:
[Constants]
; HUD Separation
x = 0.2

- Play the game.

For 3D Surround
- In the ini file :
; IS 3D Surround Enabled? 1.0 for 3D Surround, 0.0 for Single Screen
y = 1.0

================
PREDEFINED KEYS:
================
- CAPS_LOCK -> Allows you to change the UI depth to predefined values.
- F11 -> USED to set the MENUS to the correct depth.
- F12 -> Will reset the UI modifications and will SHOW the UI as is normally rendered in 3D Vision.
- C -> Toggle between 2 convergence values for GUN MODE - 1st Perspective (USE IT ONCE YOU GET IN-GAME).
- P -> Toggle between 2 convergence values for VEHICLES/FLIGHT Mode - 3rd Perspective (USE IT ONCE YOU GET IN-GAME).

(You will need to USE both F11 & F12 in the MENUS based on which MENU you use!)
(All the keys are in the INI file. MODIFY as you see fit!)

================
Known Issues:
================
REQUIREMENTS:
Setting "WorldRender.LightTileCsPathEnable 0" in user.cfg file
will DISABLE some of the lighting. As a result some lights will be missing! Instead you will have some weird negative lighting (Seen only in interiors in some places). This is due to Compute shaders and how they work and the lighting system the game uses.
If you don't like it instead use Compatibility MODE and disable/remove the fix!

That's good news!.....time ago i download a pirate version of Battlefield Hardline to see if that damn frosbite 3 engine was difficult or not (because of this game)....and i fix shadows/lights doing a batch (about 200+ shaders) taken as a reference DA:I fix (the patterns in this games are the same). BUT the game have some serious issues in 3D...some objects render in 2D sometimes and other times in perfect 3D (no matter what profile i use, and also i try the suggestion in the DA:I post)...some crashes....never know if was because the engine or because the pirate version. Delete all and quit looking. If this game have the same engine and same shaders (patterns) i can do the batch again and see if is working. Hope this game don't have those objects render issues like BFH.....i remember reading that this engine is a pain in the ass in 3D....hope i'm totally wrong with this game.

I didn't knew you wanted to fix BFH(as I am not a fan) but I bet I could have fixed the 2D rendering issues;) You will probably see when you launch the game in 3D that you you will get one eye completely white;)) Maybe this will look familiar to BFH ? In any case, I am looking forward to see if you can hunt the shaders in the game;)) You can, if you want to dump them all and apply the pattern fix from DA:I ;) I am curious "how much" we can fix this way;))

Awesome! I had a feeling this was the case with this game;)) Can you share your WIP so far? I also noticed that for some reason the game really likes to put on HUGE separation;)) I was wondering if we can somehow say in 3DMigoto: separation /= 2; So it doesn't use such a high value (Ofc we can set it down from Nvidia panel to be half of the what we normally use, so not a big issue, but just wondering) Cheers! (Looking very good!) PS: were you able to hunt individual shaders? What settings did you use in 3DMigoto?

Helifax....this is the WIP of the WIP (3 shaders fixed) https://s3.amazonaws.com/dhr/STAR.WARS.Battlefront.Beta.zip The file is ready to hunt... and yes i can hunt individual shaders If you have issues to hunt with that ini (works fine for me), try to disable SLI. There are still a lot of issues to fix: more shadows/lights, HUD, Sun Maybe is better to wait the release...some stuff may change.

Long time lurker here. :-) Just signed up to say that the 3D is pretty good out of the box. There are some shadow issues but otherwise the game is very playable. I used the latest driver (358.50). I only get the "white eye" when I tried 3D Surround resolution (5760x1080).

I bought BF Hardline a few weeks back and can confirm that it has strange 2d rendering issues. For example, an object or area will be 2D. But it will become 3D when you aim (use iron sights). I was only able to fix a couple of shaders in this game. Hey DHR, if it's no trouble, I wondering if you could send me your WIP for BFH?
Long time lurker here. :-) Just signed up to say that the 3D is pretty good out of the box. There are some shadow issues but otherwise the game is very playable. I used the latest driver (358.50). I only get the "white eye" when I tried 3D Surround resolution (5760x1080).
That is strange. I got the white eye on any resolutions , single GPU, SLI, Single Screen, Surround etc, which makes sense since I know what the engine does. What doesn't make sense is that you somehow managed to bypass this. In any case, this is not the real issue;) As we know how to fix this. But is an interesting find nevertheless.
