NVIDIA 3DPLAY does not work with the latest version of Windows (Fall creators update, 1709).
You can tick the stereoscopic tab, when you run the games, the display switches to 3D but the game shows no 3D effects (convergence, etc.)
Does anyone have any advice?

I can confirm that 3D Vision does not work with the latest windows 10. It works only with a fresh windows 10 which was not updated yet. This is not a nvidia driver problem, it is a Microsoft problem. But NVIDIA does not give a f*** about their customers as you can see, no Nvidia worker answers in this forum ever... They won't solve the problem with microsoft.

I heard from other people here that they had to create a new Windows 10 account in order to have 3D options in Nvidia Control Panel after updating Windows. Maybe worth trying that.

There was (maybe still is) a problem when your monitor goes about 144Hz. I had to lock mine down to 120Hz or 3D Vision refused to kick in. That first showed up about a year ago, though.

Can confirm 3d is working with the latest windows build.
However - I had similar problems with the last update. The solution was to create another user account, set it as administrator, then run the driver install from this new administrator account. The failure to install the 3d part of the driver was something to do with not having the correct privileges set after the windows update.

With Windows 10 I have less problems than with Windows 7. I have been using W10 since the lauch and watching in 3d photos, videos and games almost every day. In the process I changed 3 times of graphic card (560Ti - 960 - 1070 -during some months the 960 and 1070 together-), I switched from a Sony FW900 to a Asus PGR287Q, and after that I changed my i7 to a Ryzen7. So I tested a variety of configs in Windows 10 for 3D vision with almost no problems.

Support Plan for 3DVision Products
Following the posting of the final driver from Release 418 in April 2019, GeForce Game Ready Drivers will no longer support NVIDIA 3D Vision. The NVIDIA support team will continue to address critical driver issues for 3D Vision in Release 418 through April, 2020. Those looking to utilize 3D Vision can remain on a Release 418 driver.
Our software that enables the use of 3D gaming with 3D TVs, 3DTV Play, is now included for free in Release 418. It is no longer available as a standalone download. Our 3D Vision Video Player will continue to be offered as a standalone download, for free, until the end of 2019.
What a piece of cr4p. Back to version 418 I guess.
