All the game content is fixed, no matter what your edition is. Buy the GOTY edition if you want (I have both versions on GOG because I received the GOTY version for free and then tried them both).

Does the version effect on gameplay? I mean i have Almoust completed the main story,
Can i use same character for expansions if i stay with the vanilla version ?
I will asume if i buy the goty the character goes straight to zero.

You can use the same character you have now for the expansions or you can start from zero but with a level corresponding to what you should have at the start of the corresponding DLC. Your choice.
I did everything with the same character. It makes more sense.

Hi, could somebody help me i forgot how to use Wild Hunt Re-Engaged shader and the 3D fix together ?
when i install the 3Dfix, the shader get disabled :-(
Cyrilp, I think there's a read-me of some sort in the 3D Vision fix that tells how to do this.
The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.
I finally got my Witcher gallery of screenshots completed. If anyone would like to see them all, you can start here and just keep clicking the right-pointing triangle. (Don't click the other one or you'll get sent back into the first pages of the gallery's Witcher 2 shots. The back arrow has been broken for years now.)

hello I have encountered a problem with my sli setup. I just got a second 1080 on my pc , I put the sli bridge, and with sli enabled I have worst performance than when sli is disabled in wticher 3.
Can you give me some advise?
Is sli profile still needed with the new version of the witcher 3 3dvison patch?

Try to use the official profile and see if that works;)
(A good DDU & driver reinstall before to make sure that everything is in place and working as it should) :)
I am unsure the profile posted is required anymore... But, it shouldn't give negative scaling! Which suggests, somehow the drivers are not working properly!

Asus Maximus XI Hero Mobo.

Lots of Disks:

etc
After further investigations, by disabling 3d vision (and the dll) :
SLI is kicking in with 105 fps on 1080p, and 60 fps with 4k, everything ultra.
I also check if it was not a cpu bottle but it bearly go over 50% during game.
When I enable 3d vision and the fix, no mather what I do it drop 45 fps on sli 1080p (and 43 in 1440p) and 50 without sli (3d parameters -> one processor), oddly I runs faster with hairworks on and hairworks AA maxed....
I tried with the old profile hack, and no change, so I'll keep official one.
And sadly yes, I did DDU twice and reinstall last driver from NV website, i'll try to uninstall geforce experience maybe old trick still works...
Edit :
Second card unplugged,
W/O 3d , 86 fps 1080p, 40 fps 4k, clearly 20fps of gain
With 3d, 45fps in 1080p also... same as with SLI enable.

Ok maybe I find something, which could be sad cause I wanted to use it : CustomShader3DVision2SBS
when it's enable SLI doesn't kick in correctly (with SLI osd)
when I disable this param 55fps in 3d 1080p.
I wanted to use CustomShader3DVision2SBS with my sony 3d beamer to play in top bottom.
Does someone have issue with CustomShader3DVision2SBS in SLI?
EDIT: ok I manage to make sli work with customShaderSBS, but it's drop to 35-40 fps in toussaint port area in 1440p dsr, while without the shader it's 50, but without I can't play in TopBottom on projector. So I guess I will stick with it.
Anybody know how to disable the HUD depth changing when you hold LT or right click for mouse? Very annoying imo.
In d3dx.ini, check the hotkeys section and look for "XB_LEFT_TRIGGER". You will see that block changing a variable (the HUD depth value) to a number. You can comment that line to only disable its effect over the HUD.
