Serious Sam First Encounter HD Can anyone else get this to work properly?
The game either exits whenever I tweak 3D settings, also seems to be bloom issues, other than that it looks great providing it didn't exit all the time.

Game really needs a profile.

Ok seems it was the driver 1.16 was based on that caused the crashing 1.17 fixed it, buuuuuut there seems to be shadows only on one eye, and not the second...

EDIT:

Ok ren_bFastLights=0 fixes the shadow problem, but the crosshair problem remains and Nvidia's doesn't seem to work in this game. Other than that it works great.

EDIT2: Ok nvidia's crosshair started working randomly, and the serious sam one can be disabled in-game. Finally I can play :P

SS was always one of my favorites in S3D. Glad to hear you got the new version working! Let us know your thoughts on the quality of the S3D experience.

Works really well, obviously you lose a little of the graphics because of the shadow fix, but the 3D works great. Especially due to some of the levels and the vast draw distance, the depth works really well. Plus it's serious sam who wouldn't want to play it especially in 3D :P.

There are also some minor issues with lights in closed spaces - too different image rendered for left and right eye, creating a weird feeling. But in general the game does look quite nice in stereoscopic 3D...

Water reflections are equally broken too. At least the devs are looking into it for a future patch.
