GTX460 SLI & 3D Vision Performance
I couldn't find any info on this so I thought I would give you a heads up since I have just installed 2 x 1GB GTX460's in my rig. The performance is great, well outperforming my single GTX295 + GTS250 (Physx dedicated).

Just Cause 2 now runs silky smooth, settings maxed
Battlefield 2 looks awesome and is also maxed out
Batman has gone from average 35fps to 60fps maxed out
FSX - WOW, any sim fans out there this is the upgrade!!!!
Metro 2033 also looking sweet maxed out.
Splinter Cell Conviction was unplayable on the GTX295, awesome on the 460's however I do play this in 2D as it runs on the crapty unreal engine:(

Resolution of 1280 x 720 as I run on a projector but I'm sure these cards are under utilised so for higher resolutions I'm sure they'll cope really well. The 460's scale really well in SLI at higher res

A fantastic upgrade for around £350. If anyone is interested I can run some benches to give you some real numbers?

Even at 720P? That's a pretty low res. I'm surprised you even need SLI, or SLI has much effect. I would think that the CPU would be the most important part here.

Ya Fermi is fantastic with 3D Vision and just runs some games much better than GT200, like AC2 and Red Faction Guerilla for example. Even in SLI, I couldn't get good frame rates in either of those games but even a single GTX 480 was faster in both. Similar for Dragon Age Origins and Dawn of War 2 where a single 480 was a good bit faster than 2x280. I imagine the 2x460 combo would be very similar, just not as fast overall as 470/480 but very close especially once overclocked.

OP, question for you with Splinter Cell Conviction. Do you not see the dropping frame rate bug while running SLI and 3D Vision?
