How to play: Dust an Elysian Tail
Warning this is moderately technical. I talked about how to do it in other thread but I said it was unplayable. I gave it another shot and Id say I over exaggerated [My expectations are often unrealistic]. Like will it work at max settings? No. But you can still get a nice 3D effect without side effects with a bit of tweaking. Yes its very little depth like below 10%. I wouldnt recommend it as a 3D title but you can play it in 3D without any side effects. Its a teenie bit flat but it adds a bit. Its certainly not Rayman/Trine but you get a nice little layer effect. Rename the game to googleearth.exe[If using steam version. Download nvidia inspector and add dust's exe to googleearth] Install this file -> https://s3.amazonaws.com/eqznew/dust/DX9Settings.zip Launch helixmodlauncher.exe prior to playing game. Click middle mouse button [Screen will break]. Adjust your depth/convergence and use f7 to save. Keep in mind. This does not behave like any other 3d vision game. Its actually harder to tweak at high depth[if that makes sense]. And less convergence is more. You have to balance with the forground. You want the foreground to appear accurate with character. If you too high on 3D effect, foregound will look off. The easiest way of finding your settings is to adjust till screen is 2D. Then click decrease convergence [Which is increase] gradually, one click at a time. I honestly can't rate this game. Its not fair/poor but its not good either. It depends on the user and how much he likes these type of games and how much depth he will settle with.
