These are from mirror's edge and will show ghosting pretty heavily if there are problems.[/quote]
Sorry all just woke up.
I just tried the two images, the 1st one, has slight ghosting on the side of the white building and the two small chimmy stack things in the background.
2nd image the sign in the elevator has some ghosting.
How do you create these 3D images? and is convergence the same thing as the 3D depth wheel thing behind the IR receiver?

I've just tried those two images in the iZ3d monitor and I just see ghosting everywhere... If you say that the elevator's one just has some ghosting it should mean that a more usual game shouldn't have any ghosting... /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' />
I hope so, because my plan is to buy this monitor or the Acer's one.

You can take ingame screenshots.
Convergence is different to the depth. In nvidia control panel, you need to enable advance settings for key shortcuts.

Mmm ... there's a screenshot key, I forget exactly what it is but I remember looking through this forum to find it.
If the ghosting is slight on the first image that's a pretty good sign. The ghosting in that scene is very bad across multiple parts of the image on the Samsung ... the black lines on the ground, the side of that building, and the buildings in the sky are also quite bad. It's too bad there's *no* ghosting. That would be definitive. hard to go on word alone but i'll be able to compare side by side soon. Thanks for looking!
Convergence moves the 3d scene forwards and backwards. think of moving a cube towards and away from you. Depth increases the distance between objects that are close to you and far apart. think of stretching the block to be deeper.

Dont worry guys i will give you a detailed review of the aw2310 on tuesday when it arrives. I have the samsung and experiencing some ghosting, so i will be able to tell if there is an improvement.

Good to hear!
It's almost imposible to find any decent reviews online for this or the Acer so something like this would be really use full to me. So looking foward to it!!!
Really on the fence wether to get it or not. /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' />

Forgot to mention, riot ... if you rerun the setup wizard and pick 110hz it may make the ghosting significantly better. Please test on that setting and report back. If it's slight at 120Hz then 110Hz may get us much further.

1st image, the building wall thing is still ghosting a bit, but the two chimmy stack things in the background zero ghosting.

Is that a good sign rkuo, i actually havent seen those images yet. Is the ghosting really bad on the samsung with those images? From riots response above, is that a good sign for the aw2310?

That's an excellent sign ... it means the screen is not perfect but clearly better than the samsung. The ghosting on the second image is moderately visible at 110hz on the samsung, and in the first image for ghosting to disappear from some areas is something I've never been able to achieve on the samsung. Very promising indeed.
Again, I think 120hz is pushing it on these monitors, but clearly progress is being made. I can't tell too much more without seeing it for myself, but these are good signs.

You can take ingame screenshots.
Convergence is different to the depth. In nvidia control panel, you need to enable advance settings for key shortcuts.

Again, I think 120hz is pushing it on these monitors, but clearly progress is being made. I can't tell too much more without seeing it for myself, but these are good signs.

Just to re-inforce what was previous said, the CD 1.18 Build supports the AW2310 monitor.
