I have been playing me2 for hours today, really an awesome game.
Took some screenshots if you guys are curious how it looks. And I made sure that there are no spoilers in the screens, also its very early in the game anyway so not much to spoil in terms of skills, weapons or anything.
3d screens: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JAV7047C
Issues with Mass Effect 2 (fixed all but one):
1. The gui overlay has some square icons over things that are interactible, those split up to each side when running some convergence/depth like i do in the screens, but its actually no problem, you just get used to finding the object in the middle of them. For doors etc this is really no problem and most interactible objects really stand out by color. Like things you can pick up is bright blue or red or something.
Not fixed, but not so bad to get used to. (choose between this and no 3d, ill take 3d anyday)
2. Also if you run just a little convergence, there is an issue with the lights-flare-effects splitting up and being on both sides of the light source, but if you go for even more convergence like i do in the screens, they will dissappear out to both sides so np.
Fixed: More convergence /stud.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':stud:' />
3. Crosshair at depth 0 and not possible to disable from menus
Fix: Download pancrd's crosshair removal ini file.

Hi, ive got the same problem too. 3d vision runs perfect with this game, but the Lens Flare effect is a huge problem on this. Even if u run convergence in a level that every lens flare light split up fully, its really annoying and harmful for your eyes. U can disable it though. If u disable it every lens flare effect and every blue-orange icons from the gui will dissapear, and the game will look perfect after cntrl+F6, but there is another huge problem, check this post http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtop...mp;#entry990969

Steam doesnt allow running the game if i rename to MassEffect.exe.
So I ended up not being able to get lasersight or any crosshair at all for that matter.
Anybody has workaround to deal with Steam or could upload the original Coalesced.ini.

There are still plenty of issues that need to be fixed by BioWare, the worse being turning off LensFlare (which is a problem with convergence and lights hallo at wrong depth) PREVENTS you from selecting objects altogether (duh)...

I was able to remove lens flare by changing all the lens flare colours in the ini to 0.
I am still able to interact with objects (such as star map) without that annoyance.
Mind you, at the same time I mucked about with lens flare occlusion settings in same file, so I cannot guarantee that it was not changing those settings that actually removed them.
