PS:
@DarkStarSword:
Technically you don't need to delete the selector IF you don't install GFE...
GFE adds addition stuff in the bin files and the importer tool fails to "interpret" those bits:( So, you need to delete the selector file, export, modify, import, reinstall GFE (if you use it)
These are the steps...
Importing a file from an export without deleting the selectonr.bin file will fail as well:([/quote]
Thanks for the clarification! :)

I feel stupid, ofc it was in windows mode.
Game looks great, but is there any way to deal with popping words "Speak", "Loot" and so on? They almost look in 2D

If it's anything like Tomb Raider 2013, it's SLI that's the culprit, and If I am not mistaken, setting TW3 profile to force 'Single GPU' doesn't cut it. You HAVE to disable SLI in the control panel and it should work fine. Of course your performance will be in the toilet, but that hair will look great in 'Slide-Show' type fashion.
I chimed in for that reason above, but also to confirm that on my rig the 'Hair' is doing the exact same thing. I didn't do much after setting up the graphics options and making sure the game worked, so I can't confirm if disabling SLI fixes the hair, but i'd say it's a pretty safe bet.
Also, I too am having issues re-importing the profile after editing them. Was able to do it for 'GTA V' & for Batman 'AK' (3D Compat Mode.)
Can anyone confirm, is it the various oriental characters that cause the errors? Because as noted in the instructions, various editors aren't able to automatically adjust the 'encoding' options and upon copy/paste they are replaced by '?' <---.
BUT even if we use notepad (or whatever) and confirm that those characters are faithfully being reproduced BEFORE importing (which I do) and assuming that you properly followed the guide referring to the various 'bin' files (which I have) - where exactly does the problem lie given these conditions?
It's amazing how much Nvidia has screwed up it's driver sets lately, like Helifax, I feel & know that I am spending way more time trying to get titles to simply work/play without crashing - and, as others have eluded too, I have WAY more issues with using the newer 970's as opposed to my 660ti's I had in place prior. It all comes down to the drivers, has anyone noticed how freakin BIG the file sizes have gotten in the latest drivers? I mean 600+MB's! It seems to me NV really needs to create a BASE driver, that maybe gets a tuneup once or twice a year. Then, just release a 'profiles pack' once a week or so.
It also needs to jettison some of it's outdated garbage and clean up the code. The problem is, to most, 3D Vision would be the first piece to be placed in that 'garbage' - but you get the point.
NV 'Experience' should be replaced with NV 'Inspector' - a modified version maybe with a better GUI for the average players, but underneath it should be 'Inspector' as we know and use it. 'Experience' WAS a step in the right direction, but it was/is more bloatware than it needs to be. Take the amount of Windows 'Services' that have cropped up in the last 5 years, this is the easiest way to see that NV has WAY too much going on under the hood and surely could be streamlined better than it is.

That doesn't include the 'Performance' service if anyone still use the 'Nvidia System Tools - v6.08' as part of their install I still have it installed on a few other driver sets.
That's another one, they always had that separate, it included a decent monitoring app and the 'Performance' tab is created in the NV Control Panel allowing you to OC your GPU's or override the fan controls - it was nice! But you had to install it separately - and then it just got left by the wayside (typical NVidia style - even back then) It always seems to come down to the community to fix or even create the various programs & utilities that create a better/easier interface (Remember 'nHancer'?) or, more to our plight, Nvidia's own brainchild, 3D Vision.
NV birthed it, nurtured it (to a point), and PROFITTED from it - Then they kicked this 'tech' out of the house, just as puberty was kicking in, then turned their collective backs on it.
Enter our heroes, who have come across a very sickly 'tech' all alone in the gutter with a sign that said 'Will work to convert your mundane 2D world into a 3D wonderland in exchange for a little 'TLC', a Profile or 2, and possibly a 'wrapper' for those cold and callus 'Cyclopian' Dev's that seem to ENJOY watching me squirm around in 'dirty' code'

I haven't seen this happen in 3D, only after switching to 2D (with or without the fix). If it's happening in 3D as well I might be able to put a workaround in place - does it always detach to the right? Can you provide a screenshot so I can check that it is the same issue?
I faced a similar bug in Viscera Cleanup Detail and used a workaround there, but the maths didn't quite work out to realign it with 100% accuracy. At least in the case of 3DMigoto I have access to the raw eye separation value which I didn't have in Viscera / Helix Mod.

The fix is broken for me in SLI, the shadows are all doubled. If i disable SLI its working perfectly. Did the sli profile thing in the instructions too. Any help?

Hmmm, it seems to be working with SLI for others... What driver are you using?
Can you provide a 3D screenshot please? Doubled shadows may mean that the driver is steroising the shadow maps when it shouldn't be (in which case we may be able to force the heuristics via a tweak in the d3dx.ini), but I want to check if that is the issue first.

Perfect for me in SLI too. I can't see how the game is doing something different stereoizing the textures, that would affect everybody for sure. Perhaps the problem reported is the HBAO+ issue that is always occurring for Neal0790 (as opposed to intermittently for the rest of us)? The only other thing I can think is that there really is a set of game settings that uses shaders we really have not fixed yet? - in which case screenshots of (a) the problems (b) the settings, and (c) a save game will be needed.

So i figured out my problem. Forgot i had DSR enabled in the nvidia control panel. Wasnt using it, but as soon as i disabled it the game works fine now. Fix looks great.

Hi everybody.
I go back on windows 8.1, with last driver and last patch for TW3.
When the game start shadows are broken. Then i quit, relaunch and after four or five attempts shadows are at correct depth.
What can i do to avoid this problem ?
