I still have to buy this for my samsung DLP to play some PS3 games... Too busy with projector and the fact PS3 3D gaming is pathetic so far isn't helping.

Contact Sony Corporation, and discuss the contract for the compatibility of your 3D Vision glasses for use with all 120 Hz PC monitors and Playstation 3 (for viewing all 3D content).
It is better to make a similar move with the release of Gran Turismo 5 to get the maximum profit. All customers will thank you!
This is especially true now that the producers have not been able to agree on a common standard for 3d, and TVs with glasses are sky-high money ...

The problem in this situation is that the current 120Hz PC monitors do not accept 120Hz over HDMI, only over DL-DVI and there is no DL-DVI output on the PS3. You're limited to HDMI, hence the need for HDMI 1.4 frame packing. I'm sure the PS3's software/firmware is easy enough to upgrade to support this, but that wouldn't do anything to remove the DL-DVI roadblock from the equation. Maybe one day if/when HDMI decides to step up their game and officially supports 120Hz signaling, but I don't imagine we'll see that for a few years and HDMI 1.5/1.6/1.7 etc.

I'm not sure about all current 120Hz PC monitors,
On Web sites, manufacturers could not find the description, but we can consider LG Flatron W2363D...If only DL-DVI on 120Hz, its sax(
