1 / 6
===================
UPDATE: 16/02/2016
===================
- Game WENT LIVE today. From Early Access to Fully Released.
- The current FIX IS STILL WORKING FLAWLESS from what I saw!
- STORY is now COMPLETE! So give it a try;)

================
About the game:
================
Layers of Fear is a psychedelic horror that will keep you on-edge for the remainder of the game. Delve deep into the mind of an insane painter, and discover the secret of his madness as you walk through a constantly shifting house filled with meticulously constructed rooms.
SO, want more SOMA??? This game PLAYS exactly like SOMA. (Only is a bit "scarier" ^_^. If you have a problem with that... AVOID ID...MWAHAHA)

=================================
What is SPECIAL about this fix:
=================================
- Game uses UNITY 5 Engine! That means it has multiple Renderers BUILT-IN: (DirectX 11, DirectX9 and also OpenGL). My fix is ONLY for OpenGL Renderer.
- This was actually a pet project to see if I can make my wrapper work with Unity5, let alone fix the game;)
- I had to write and modify quite a bit of my 3DVisionOpenGL "driver"/wrapper to even be able to render something in Unity 5. If you are interested in this and more details you can see this post: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/821850/3d-vision/unity-5-amp-3d-vision/

Just a quick update:
- The Unity5 Engine (OpenGL wise) is a very interesting engine that relies on swapping "rending" mode;) I had to make my wrapper "fulfil" this;)
- (Like the SOMA update) fixed a few bugs related to the rendering pipeline;)) and I also managed to increase the FPS a bit (don't expect anything spectacular).
- I fixed a couple of bugs found related to "shader modifications".
- Fixed a couple of shaders for lights/shadows, etc;))
Still testing;) but everything looks very good so far;)) I hope tomorrow (evening) I will make a first release of the fix for the game;))
Sorry if it wasn't in time for Halloween;) but I found about the game on Thursday (29th/10) ^_^.
Still I BELIEVE, this is the type of GAME EVERYONE SHOULD PICK UP!!! It's PURE AWESOME!!! (It really gives you some scares! And not JUMP scares per-say). Really love the atmosphere and the PACE of the game!

Thanks for the update, no need to apologize ... I only mentioned what happened to me because I thought it was funny. I was so excited by the screenshots that I didn't actually even read the OP until after I purchased it. :)

Hey HeliFax is there anything i can do in Nvidia Inspector to get this running on a tri sli 780ti system? single card does 60fps no prob but i hate having to mess up my desktop or use a single card and disable sli every time i play it for my wife. Looking to get sli working and have at least the 60fps on vsync. currently am seeing 37 or 38 max on sli. Thx for any help in advance!

The fix is not out yet:) You must have probably pulled an intermediate release I was using for testing;)
But now that you actually tested it, can you elaborate on what is the problem with SLI?

Yeah I removed it;)) after the above post;)
While the fix is ready;)) the Wrapper is not:) I basically re-wrote huge chunks of it;) and fixed numerous issues;))
I basically want to give the best possible experience;) and this takes time;)
The wrapper will not only apply to this game but to all my game fixes (as I plan to re-release them all using the current wrapper).
Testing takes more time than actually coding it;))
It should be out tomorrow or first thing on Saturday;)
