Alright well I got an early headstart trial invite. I fixed water ghosting/fog ghosting. I also even removed crosshair. Problem is I can't test it since nvidia lasersight doesnt work with GTX 680'S atm = /. Anywho try it out and if you would like to try a different version go into shaderoverride/vertex shaders/ then go into each folder and drag and replace the files one level down(in vertex shaders folder). I am not interested in this game tbh and don't own it so I cant fix it anymore then I have.
Keep in mind though no1 has ever been banned for using helix mod online. By using this you run that risk.

Its up to u, I was just asking because 2 different people sent me a pm and one even sent me an invite to the "pre-release" then I looked at it and they went POOF. Though they may be of the 37 dls and just didnt say anything. It sucks because I figured out how to do shadows afterwards = / . Will have to wait for free trial.

Ah man - taken me ages to add a reply - silly forum registration process (blergh).
....
I suspect no one has added a comment as I don't think the patch/hack works.
Not because of its coding - but because of the variation between Dx*.dll.
Tera has:
a) d3dx9_41.dll;
b) d3dx10_41.dll.
Your shaderoverride file has a d3dx9.dll file - so I assume Tera doesnt read your modded *.dll.
I was going to mess around swapping the .dll to see if it would work (damn crosshair 3d is awful, although nvidia shadows [in game option] set to 2 works very well),
but the file size variation between the two is:
d3dx9_41.dll = 4081KB
your d3dx9.dll = 210KB. Tera doesn't use the DX9Settings.ini either.
Considering messing with Tera file structure could result in a ban, the variation between the files sets has precluded an experiment.
Be very grateful if your could progress your work. If you PM (not sure if possible on this forum), I will send copy of d3dx9_41.dll for your assessment.
Thanks for your effort. Hope this helps : )
P.S. just noted I can add file to post. Perhaps this will assist?

Game loads the d3dx9.dll just fine, exactly as when I use the FXAA Post Process Injection Tool.
The crosshair doesn't get removed neither does it change depth.
Only one trial invite per account, used mine so can't send one to you /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />

LOL I just looked at the files and thats my hunted fix. I cant tell if either nvidia forums somehow got the files screwed up because I upload all my files as shaderoverride.zip or I did that. I tried to do it before the early game access invite ended and only had 2 hours and was very sleepy so I probably uploaded wrong file. Unfortunately I dont have the fix anymore, so I have to redo it. If anyone get me an invite before tuesday I will redo it.

Still working on shadows. Fixed a water/fog effect(there are probably a ton more), Ripped out crosshair, pushed hud into depth a bit.
The problem is text unfortunately though. Text is attached to hud/ and everything else. So I can rip out crosshair but level and distance from target cant be ripped out. If you want to dl and let me know what you think. Download is included here [attachment=25691:shaderoverride.zip] . Put in your binaries folder.
If nvidia crosshair does not work for you. Download nvidia inspector. Remove tera.exe from tera's profile. Add tera.exe to Mass Effect 1's profile. If you use sli / AA write down those settings from your tera profile and put them in Mass Effects Profile.
https://s3.amazonaws.com/HelixMods/TERA05_50.jps
I scaled the combat hud so it was bigger and was further away from nvidia laser sight(not pictured). Made it much easier.

Alright well I think I am done, unfortunately things dont work as planned. The hud is pretty much as good as it gets as far as usability. Here is final file [attachment=25715:shaderoverride.zip]
I worked on shadows and was SOOOO CLOSE. Like I fixed 8 shaders but I needed to fix 10. Unfortunately when injecting certain shaders it had wierd side effects. I fixed casted shadow(breaks at high convergence), and remove shadows on characters. However this kills some lighting on the the character models = /
[attachment=25716:shaderoverride2.zip]
This was tested on European version of tera. I am not sure how popular this game is but it uses unreal engine. It is very simple for developers to fix game. Make sure to mention this on their forums. Not sure if its possible to remove the Level _ and distance __ from hud through .INI editing or in game but that would make this fix much better.

I suspect no one has added a comment as I don't think the patch/hack works.
Not because of its coding - but because of the variation between Dx*.dll.
Tera has:
a) d3dx9_41.dll;
b) d3dx10_41.dll.
Your shaderoverride file has a d3dx9.dll file - so I assume Tera doesnt read your modded *.dll.
I was going to mess around swapping the .dll to see if it would work (damn crosshair 3d is awful, although nvidia shadows [in game option] set to 2 works very well),
but the file size variation between the two is:
d3dx9_41.dll = 4081KB
your d3dx9.dll = 210KB.
