Mechwarrior 4 mercs free release 3d Not activating
Hello, everyone. I've been trying to get the profile for this game to start but it refuses to. I've read people changing the .exe name to others so the profile for another game with start like say Fallout 3 but i'm not sure how to do that. If anyone would kindly get me started with this game in 3d i'd very much appreciate it.

Dang thats a blast from the past. Ive played versions of this game at various times for the last 15 years.
I had battle-tech, the old table top version of mechwarrior plus we even had the original role playing game called, finilly enough Mechwarrior... who'd have guessed. :)
Hell I even remember a short lived animated series...
A rule book, a bag of d6 (six sided dice to the non initiated), a couple of mates and a stack of A4 paper is all we needed to have fun...
If it aint 3d high def surround sound glory we're just not interested anymore. The poor kids of today :)
Actually kids today are lucky little devils. When I was growing up playing a game ment putting in the cassete tape crossing your fingers and pressing play...
I am amazingly off topic now. Let me know if you or anyone has any luck playing this one in 3d.
I'm rather nostalgically intrigued.

I think that you can do nothing to enable 3D in this game, because it uses older version of DirectX. 3D Vision (as far as i understand) sometimes doesn`t work with some early DX9 games.

Hey, you should download MechWarrior: Living Legends. Very nice. just check out some vids and screens and you will be sold.
The new beta is coming out any day and this version of MeckWarrior runs well under 3D Vision.

I've played Living legends and that's the cryengine so it runs like crysis does. However about the direct x thing I'm puzzled because there IS a profile for mercenaries .
