3D glasses causing BSOD? Hardware compatibility issues with MOB when using 3D glasses
Hello everyone, this is my first post.

I just built a new gaming rig. The new setup runs stable until I activate the 3D glasses for game play. So far I have played Left For Dead, Far Cry 2, and STALKER Clear Sky. When playing Far Cry and STALKER, I get the BSOD after only a few minutes of game play. I can usually get along further than that when playing Left For Dead before the BSOD appears. I can play all three games without a problem when I play without the 3D glasses. If someone has any ideas, please help me out. The BSOD just says something about Hardware issues and to disconnect what ever was installed before the issue, "which is the 3D glasses".
Here is everything that i have...just so no stone is left unturned.

Asus Rampage II Extreme MOB: BIOS left at factory 0805, all settings on AUTO, no overclocking at this time.
Intel Core i7 965 EE (Cooler Master V8 CPU cooler)
Corsair Dominator GT 6GB 1866MHz (dual Corsair Dominator GT cooling fans)
dual BFG GTX 280 OC edition set in SLi configuration (GeForce GPU driver v182.50 WHQL)
Ultra x3 modular 1000watt PSU (ULT40311)
dual Wester Digital 300GB VelociRaptors set in RAID 0 configuration
Western Digital 1TB My Book eSATA attachment
Sony DVD RW DRU-865S
Sony BD-ROM BDU-x10s
Samsung SynchMaster 2233RZ
Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 retail box with updates
Kasperky Internet Security 2009 current update 8.0.0.506
Nvidia 3D glasses (NVIDIA 3D Vision driver v182.46)...the problem?

I also have...just incase...
Klipsch ProMedia GMX D-5.1 via optical cable
Asus MOB SupremeFX XFi Audio Card
Teknmotion Pulsewave Gaming Headphones via USB
Saitek Eclipse I keyboard via USB
Logitech G5 optical mouse via USB

If anyone has any ideas...Please help me out. I really enjoy gaming with these glasses when I can.

The exact BSOD error message would help a ton. Second, have you redownloaded the drivers for 3Dvision, cleared out the old drivers, and installed the newly downloaded ones? Also, wasn't there some issues with 3Dvision and SLi, could someone confirm this?

I would also suggest looking at the memory voltages, Asus motherboards are notorious for having the memory running under the required volts.

I would also like to know what happens if you run something like mem86+ or Prime95.

And yes, there is an issue with running the glasses with SLI enabled, you need to disable SLI first of all.
