yes i got the fact they removed stuff. I did not remember that there can be more than one to choose from.
But now i remember, even Back in the days you could choose to use Glide or DirectX. Now days i don't remember a game that would let choose which to use

I have just bought the game through Steam. So is there no mean to make it play in 3D Vision without crashing with latest versione? And no mean to revert back version too?

Nope, You need an earlier version of the game where they still supported OGL, before they decided to remove it from Windows (funny the OGL rendered is still available on Linux and Mac) ^_^.
Best thing to do is to Refund the game and buy it on GoG where they allow you to go to earlier versions of the game!
(Or use a Torrent and download and earlier version. You already paid for the game so...)

Thanks for your reply... so it's from 2 August DLC release patch that the game is broken? Will I be able to get DLC with GoG older build then? Thanks.

Unfortunately the DLC will not work:( It requires a newer version of the game :(
You can play the original game though with the fix.
For the DLC you need to update to the last version and use Dx11 ...
I have contacted Aspyr Media and they are trying to talk with the Devs and see if we can get the OGL Renderer back in Windows, but I wouldn't bet on it;) But, who knows! ^_^

Ok, posted in forums too. I managed to make it work with older build. The only 'bad' thing is that I have window borders (even if 3D triggers). Is there any way to make it BORDERLESS WINDOWED?

You are running Windows 7, Single GPU? It shouldn't show windows borders if you set the game to fullscreen in-gmae.

Windows 8.1, now I resetted FULLSCREEN OPTION (to ON) and it's ok but another strange thing is happening:
- how is it possible that the game goes at 100+/120FPS in 3D Mode? I think this is also creating a strange sync issue because even if the framerate is high I can't stand watching 3D. Thanks for your help.

If you can get 120FPS (MSI afterburner doesn't count properly in this case. The only FPS overlay that works with my wrapper is GFE Share), go in the ini file and set "AlternateFramesRendering" to FALSE.
See if this makes the things better:)

A bit better but I think it's just a FPS issue... maybe it's just too heavy for a single 980GTX in 3D.
