It is just a beta and has no sli the driver has lots of bugs but it's comming and no draconian waiting in the background to take stuff away from you like nvidia does everytime they release a driver.. I would wait for iz3d 2.0
you will need dlp-link glasses for this driver on a dlp-link projector like optima or acer Maybe ed-glasses with blc code would work but there a pain and they break easy bla bla bla

After doing a last test..with VGA and DVI/HDMI ....
... there were heavy color shifting problems.
Then I tried VGA and delay dongle ,which i used with my older dlp projector .
And it never happened again .
So no DVI input but VGA working at last ...
... the only thing now is maximum depth ,whats missing . ...
Its strange ... maybe the usb IR emitter driver is not really working well at 120hz ...
@PiXeL : ... i think the iz3d driver needs dlp link glasses at least ... like Crash27 said .
The registry hack works for me, but only for games i have not ran before. Other games just use the old depth settings.
I've stated a similair thread a while back about this. Back then nobody really replied, but now there are more h5360 owners. Andrew? Do you think you can change the Acer H5360 preset to allow more depth? Because it is really to low. Compare the depth settings to the samsung 2233RZ and see the difference.

I'm not having the same issues as most everyone on this thread with regard to depth on the Acer (or any projector). I usually run at 50% with them and have a great experience.
There is also the issue that the math for eye separation is different between a desktop monitor and a LCD.
So is the request to just make the projection eye separation more?

Yes. The experience is still good on the Acer 5360, but It needs more separation. I also have the Acer 24" and it gets alot more depth then the projector does. The 3D effect is less pronounced on the projector then on the smaller Acer monitor.

YES /yes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ... this would be very nice , as I havent played much on the acer since I bought it , because of to small separation .
On projector it doesnt make sense having a fixed maximum separation because you dont know how big the screen is you watch .
And thank you Andrew for responding to this issue.

As my Acer H5360 just arrived today, I cannot comment on the depth-issue yet. Until now, I've been playing on my old crt-Dell-monitor running at 85hz, and the impression of depth is really awesome at 100% depth.
If it's really true that the separation on the beamer is lower than on a monitor, the count me in on the "wishlist" for more separation on projectors. :-)
btw: soooooooo looking forward to hooking up the pj, but right now I'm at work... :-( But tonight will be a great moment in my still young stereoscopic career. /woot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':woot:' />

I've tried the 3D Vision briefly with some games, with my 22" and with my Acer 100". I think I've got the max. separation somewhere around 10% and I'm not a stereo novice. I actually work with stereoscopic images and movies everyday. I somehow think my settings are different than most of the peoples? I could never use the max separation on either of those screens, it would of course look cool, but be very hard to fuse. For a reference, most 3D movies use a max separation of around 2-4% of the screen width depending on the screen size, and other factors.. 4% is borderline tolerable for a short time on a big screen.

I briefly tried the Acer yesterday and started with a depth-setting of 50%, but immediately jumped to 100%. I have to confirm that the subjective "feeling" of depth was way stronger on the CRT than on the big screen, both running at 100%. On either the CRT or the PJ, I never had problem fusing the images.
My subjective feeling is, that the PJ has "less" depth than the CRT. It would be lovely if we could officially change those settings by ourselves.

My request is to make max depth user adjustable for all monitors. /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Everyone is going to have different tastes and PC gaming is all about providing for those tastes. Whereas 50% is plenty for you to enjoy, that is much too low for me and in many games even 100% is too little.
Seriously Andrew, why are things so draconian when it comes to 3d vision user settings? These limitations act as roadblocks to my enjoyment of stereo 3d. Don't get me wrong, I do like 3d vision, but the nV imposed limitations are quite annoying and do have an effect on my attitude towards it.

On projector it doesnt make sense having a fixed maximum separation because you dont know how big the screen is you watch .
And thank you Andrew for responding to this issue.
