I have a 17" AOC monitor and Stereo3D works very fine, but the limit of 85hz with 1024x768 causes some flickering. I use my Edimensional wireless shutter glasses.
To solve this flickering, now I have another monitor, an old Sony W900 24", and the refresh rates are too much better, but I notice a decrease in quality because I see more ghosting than with AOC 17". I´m using Nvidia Stereo driver 71.89.
I test Half LIfe 2 and the weapon is more ghosting, and very transparent seeying with only one of each eyes (with AOC 17" was a solid weapon). In other games I see too more ghosting in general. I have tested with different resolutions and refresh rates, but seem to be the same problem. I don´t know why this Sony monitor is not capable to show me the quality that offer a very simple AOC 17" monitor.

Lets not go into detail, its been covered to death on other posts at stereovision.net.
Simply decrease the brightnes and contrast of the sony monitor. It will not eradicate ghosting, but it will help.
