Is there anyway to record great quality 3D gameplay into video without any additional cards ?
Let´s say i would like to capture my 3d vision gameplay into a video good enough to present the glory of 3D gameplay.

GFE is very good for Single Screen displays. Although, it CUT the Width resolution by 50% in 3D mode, BUT is using the h264 hardware encoder found on your GPU and gives you MP4. However, if you want Exotic resolutions and FULL SBS frames... go with FRAPS. You will need a very large and FAST HDD and a very STRONG CPU as well as is all software based. No hardware acceleration. You will also have to manually encode it to Mp4 or other format later on, as it captures RAW AVI. Depends on what you want to achieve and how professionally you want to do it;)

I just wanted to record some gameplay for a friend. but im usually a sucker for the quality visuals, so will give Fraps a chance. I better try to record with some of my ssd´s as my video drive is only WD red. yes i know the sizes are tremendous in video applications. i just filled my 2TB red with my madeira clips after i upacked them to avi uncompressed :D Thanks Helifax for tips.
