Just wrote an email to Techland support regarding Dynamic FOV feature in Dying Light. I wonder if they care enough to answer me, but it doesn't hurt to try! :) IMHO, dynamic FOV feature is the only major thing that breaks immersion in Dying Light...

@Seregin
Hope you get a response.....there are 2 options: more info in the shaders headers or add an option to disable all dynamic FOV.
@didierh
No, is no normal that weapons cut or split....re-download the fix, i add more weapons shaders.....if the issue is still present upload your savegame here to take a look.

Hm... I've been playing with Dying Light settings and, accidentally, ran the game without ShaderFixes folder. And I was surprised by how different game look without 3D Vision fix! There are plenty of nice light effects which are missing when wrapper is active :/ (see attached screenshots). I've tried rebuilding shader cache, completely reinstalling it (both Flugan and 3Dmigoto version), but nothing fixes missing light effects. What's wrong? Is it my setup or something wrong with fix itself?
DHR, could you please take a look? Thank you very much.

That's strange....there are only 2 shaders removed (output = 0), all others shaders are fixed, including lights. One is from DOF that the in-game settings don't remove and the other is one textcoord from one reflections shader. Also i remove the blur stuff when you pause the game (for hunting purpose)....those shader are not related to lights.
I will take a look without the "shaderFixes" folder and hunt that shader.....i know the place of the screenshot.

Just to drop in:
- What you see is what is happening when 3D Vision is DISABLED (CTRL+T)
- IF 3D Vision is ENABLED you get the "lights" back:)

Yeah, I noticed this as well. I needed pinpoint precision on a few of the shooting challenges, so I disabled 3D to make aiming down the sights easier, and when I did I found the lighting became extremely dull & drab, almost made it look like it went from a sunny day to overcast at the press of a button. I wasn't sure what to make of that, but as long as it looks wonderful in 3D I didn't really care much, but now that someone has brought it up I'm curious to know what gives?

@DJ-RK
Now the fix have aiming presets (lower convergence)...so no need to disable 3D (RMB and right stick button for xbox controller)
I test yesterday and in 3D the lights are there.....i can't explain why in 2D with the fix, those lights are gone....if you want to play in 2D, uninstall the fix.

very strange you lost your savegame, there are 2 thing no related...i'm been uninstalling and installing the fix (3dmigoto and flugan) a lot of times and never lost my savegames. Maybe you do something else trying to upload the savegame here?....Cut the file for example, instead of copy.

One easy way to get your saves deleted is to press the "Change Gamesettings" button in Dying Light Manager. Fortunately the button was removed in the newest version.

Well, my game looks exactly same way with 3D Vision enabled :( I noticed the difference accidentally, when deleted ShaderFixes. Before I was playing in 3D, and thought that kind of picture is OK... :/
