3D glasses development
Hi, ive been searching for some time now and it seems like i cant find my answer...

My boss asked me if there was a way to look at 3d models in Archicad with the glasses.
I have Archicad now and i want to use the 3D glasses to view and interact with my model in real time.
Maybe there is a special viewer that does this?

If not, is it possible to do this on your own coding in Open GL?

All help i can get on this is very appreciated...

Cheers

Hi

There was another archi program that worked. You need one of the approved display/monitors also to use the glasses.
But to see if it works just install the 3D vision driver and use red/blue 3D (anaglyph). Just to test?

cheers

Ah thanks, i dont actually have the glasses, im doing some research to estimate if it would be worth it.
Some other archi program...do you remeber what its name was?

I think wer going to buy the lcd monitor and the glasses from tigerdirect.com, it would make a big difference in how we interact with our customers.

Thanks again for your help!

I can't remember the name of the other program.
But if You install the driver You can test it with red/blue glasses: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d_stereo.html to see if it works.

Well...i tried to do this, i installed the software on a coputer with a Nvidia 8800GT and it works to bring up the Nvidia control panel.
But when i tick the Enable stereoscopic 3D it shows a frame that is red and blue, and the only thing i can do is to hit Esc.

Any ideas?
