Does anyone know if Pixmania ships to the US?
Not sure, I ordered through pixmania-Pro which is just B2B sales only so you need to be a registered company to deal with them.
I think they are based in France.

I paid £513.52 but that was a deal that included a 92" projector screen.
Just tracked it and looks like it's not going to be here until tomorrow now which means i'm going to have to spend most of today reading about it and prepping the pc for it's arrival.

I've recieved it just now. I've done a 50 minutes of testing and all i can say is:
NO GHOSTING!!!!!! It's tough to express how happy i am about it. Seriously no ghosting. I've tried different settings, dark colors on white background and vise versa.
And i'm no 3d noob, i know my ghosting. It was my enemy until now on my samsung 2233RZ and on my Samsung PS50B450 :)
The rainbow effect is nearly invisible, you see it on occiason. But it's not distracting of disturbing. If you place the rainbow effect against ghosting, i would take the rainbow effect every time. That said the rainbow effect is alot less visible than on my older DLP beamer.
You don't need an DLP sync cable to connect it with 3d Vision which is a big plus! And to anwser my own question: It's frame sequential AND Checkerboard! You can choose between an 3D vision profile(frame seq) and an DLP 3d profile(checkerboard).

This is excellent news as well! I hope the same will hold true for the Optoma line of projectors and would be quite interested what Andrew thinks. I would to hear some feedback from you on your experiences with both settings during gaming (can you notice the difference, any shimmering with single pixel objects like powerlines and chainlink fences in HL2, etc).

Nice! Maybe one day when hell freezes over, it'll show up in the U.S.! That would be great as then I can give Acer my money for their product! Imagine that!

I did a fairly long session(4 hours), my opinion hasn't changed. I cannot find any ghosting ;)
One downside is that on every reso change it displays a notice about 3d beeing enabled on the beamer, the message stays in the center of the screen for about 10 seconds. Its very annoying, but its only at the beginning when you start a game. I haven't foud any way to turn it off yet. But i really like the color repoduction and the brightness, even with glasses on it feels as bright if not brighter than my samsung led tv.
I've read some people worrying about the brightness, but there is no reason to. Unless you want to play in direct sunlight.

Not sure, I ordered through pixmania-Pro which is just B2B sales only so you need to be a registered company to deal with them.
I think they are based in France.

Just tracked it and looks like it's not going to be here until tomorrow now which means i'm going to have to spend most of today reading about it and prepping the pc for it's arrival.
Edit: Got price wrong.

So here it is: what's the difference in quality between checkerboard and field sequential ? Is it really perceptible ?
Thanks !
