Star Wars: Battlefront(2015) - 3D Vision Fix

Has the new update rolled out on 27th Jan affected Real 3D? It looks to me like it has :( There are some textures that look brighter or something. Can anyone confirm they are seeing this too? Cheers

EDIT: Just realising I can attach to the comment - so have attached. Attached are a couple showing what I was talking about. From what I can gather it's the shadows that aren't synching. Also attached another that shows an issue on the weapon and load selection screen. Appreciate you looking at this Helifax! :)

I just used DDU and completely removed my old drivers. Then installed the newest. The first issue I mentioned is gone. The blaster and load selection screen still has an issue though (as seen in starwarsbattlefront06_50.jps)

Hey, first of all thanks for the fix. I have followed the instruction from the first post but I do have some issues. Firstly there are some lens flares that renders at wrong depth for me, second are the black bars I have on both sides of the screen. Have anybody experienced those issues and if so is there a workaround for them or did I missed something during the installation? I've imported the profile and copied the fix, disabling AA havent helped, neither disabling AO ingame. I do have ingame resolution matching my desktop resolution and I have ingame overalys disabled. here is the screenshot http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/tehace/image/56b250c9e7e564b2600003be/ granted its from the tutorial so maybe nobody ever looked at it :D

If you played Dragon Age: Inquisition or any Frostbyte fixed games before you will know that the black bars come from the Skybox shader and there isn't anything that we can do about it. Or not anything that I know of. DAI, BF4 has it and this one as well as is the same engine. You didn't miss anything.

thanks for the prompt reply. I loved the 3d in DAI but I dont remember having those bars... its been a while so not sure but at least they werent that prominent, does depth/conv. influence those or like fov maybe?

[/quote] Yeah in DA:I you get it only on outside. I didn't even saw them (since I am playing in Surround and I never ever look/see the edges of my screens do to the huge fov). They are basically influenced by the separation. What the engine does is it creates a Rect big as the whole screen on witch it puts the skybox texture. We in 3D we need to move the rect left/right to push it in depth. Now since we do this in the shaders and not from the game code, the engine still "thinks" is using a SINGLE camera and CLIPS like in 2D instead of clipping based on the 3D cameras (that we create in the shaders). Hence you get black bars:( If I remember correctly the Sky is pushed to infinity (meaning there is no actual convergence in place) but just the separation. Also if you go to a location where there is no sky, or look down to the ground you will not see this. It only has to do with the skybox:(

Unfortunately we don't know a way currently to fix those. Once we understand how we can fix those we will update the fix:) Is not a big deal to be honest, but well... you lose some lights:(

yeah I was just indoors and havent seen those bars, thanks for taking the time to explain. Does anybody knows how do I get rid off those lense flares? http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/tehace/image/56b2843ce7e5645345000141/ they're really offputting for me...

Haven't seen those but I know the map;) I can take a look and try to find the shader for them and correct it;) But it will have to wait until the weekend when I can do it;) In worst case I can disable them, but they should be fixable easy enough ;)

hello pros ! I always put the depth amount at 100% in all games without problems. For SW battlefront 2015, i mean the problem is about the depth amount which ALWAYS initialize to 15% (default depth amount) if i try to go "Forward". That's strange. I can go in all other directions, the depth amount keeps 100% but NOT if i go Forward... how to fix this please ?
