Good old 3D Stereo Drivers 78.01 and Windows 7
I'd like to upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 and keep the Nvidia drivers 78.01 that worked best for me for years now (with CRT monitor and Revelator glasses). Graphics card is a 6600 GT.
No problem to install the 78.01 grahics drivers under Windows 7, but somehow it is not possible to install the 3D stereo drivers correctly (78.01_3Dstereo.exe). I activated 3D stereo in the control panel, but when I try to view the demo application (some medical test image) it says "NVIDIA Stereo features not enabled, launching Control Panel. Select "Advanced..." and the "Stereo Properties" tab to view stereo setup information."

Anybody any ideas please?
I guess it is only some registry stuff since the base drivers are working and the 3D stereo drivers are already installed half of the way.

You're out of luck i'm afraid. Better keep your old winxp and make a new partition for win7. A lot of oldies loose their stereosupport once going win7 and 3d-vision. Also remember: To run 3d-vision you need an 8000-series or newer card.
