Screen Refresh rate issues
Hi

Have the following setup

Windows 7 64 bit
3 EVGA GTX580 SC in 3 way SLI using latest 266.58 drivers
3 Acer 24inch 3D Vision GD245HQ displays in 3 way surround
1 Nvidia 3D Vision Glasses and receiver

When at Windows Desktop in the Nvidia control panel I set the screen refresh rate to 120hz using a resolution of 5760x1080 (not using bezel management).

when i play a game in 3D, exit the game, and come back to the windows desktop the refresh rate reverts back to 60hz in the nvidia control panel. I have verified that it is dropping back to 60hz by checking my monitors status dialogue built into the monitor.

Is anyone else getting these issues with this driver version and setup?

Cheers

I'm getting this but the other way round. My monitor is set at 60hz for normal use but after exiting a game that I've been playing with 3d vision on the refresh rate stays at 120hz. It's very sporadic and doesn't happen all of the time. Anyone know why this happens?

I read some where if you stay at 60 hz + lower res for normal use your led/lcd will last longer, due to the stress on the speed of 120 hz...now I'm just passing on what I read, so it not a sure thing, you can google if you wish.......CHEERS
