I just picked this up in the Christmas Sale for my son and the black flickering is still present. So I did a quick fix so I can play it. It's not perfect (I only spent about 2 hours on it), but the black flickering has gone. I attach a WIP here.
Before anything else:
- Start the game
- Switch to DX9 mode
- Disable Bloom
- Exit the game
NOTE - to get it the fix to work you have to edit the game exe:
1. Create a backup copy of the game exe
2. Open the game exe up in *notepad++*, NOT notepad
3. Search for "nvapi_Query"
4. Replace it with nvbpi_Query (I think there are 2 instances)
5. Save the file and exit
Then:
6. Unzip the files in the WIP to the same directory as the game exe
7. I am including the debug dll for now, so you will get red text at the top when the game is played
8. To toggle the red text on and off, press the "Pause/Break" key on the keyboard
9. There are two presets on F4 and F5 keys for convergence - F5 is a low convergence for cutscenes
Let me know if it works OK and I might put it on the helixblog, but I can't be bothered to work much more on it...

I can't get the game to start after editing the exe's - gives me an error oxcoooo142 (not sure on the number of o's, but the 142 is accurate) i'm sure you know of the error. I tried run as admin and compat modes too. Not sure what's wrong. I did use Notepad++ but only found one instance in each exe.
I have 2 exe's:
LEGOJurassicWorld.exe
LEGOJurassicWorld_DX11.exe
Let me know if you think of anything.

Hi - thanks for trying. It's highlighted something that I missed in my description:
- Backup the LEGOJurassicWorld.exe
- Edit the original LEGOJurassicWorld.exe ONLY (so NOT the DX11 one)
- The two things to edit are actually the following:
nvapi_QueryInterface -> nvbpi_QueryInterface
nvapi_pepQueryInterface -> nvbpi_pepQueryInterface
- Do Not touch anything else in the file - simply make those changes, save and exit

That did it! Thank you so much! My Son will be so happy when he comes home from his mom's!
Thanks a million man, I really am surprised that this wasn't fixed by TT. It really boggles the mind you know?
I mean, they MUST have cared about 3D Vision, their games are gorgeous. I just started playing Hobbit again, and I honestly think it's the best of the bunch 3D Wise, and the game itself is strong, not sure bout the best though. But they are ALL great in 3D, that doesn't happen by accident does it? Or is what we are seeing the same engine used for EVERY game and it's code is ONLY updated with what TT's decides is the biggest priority? If that were true, it would explain a slow, maybe very slow, degradation in the 3D portion of their code and with every new title it gets a little more out of whack.
I just say it boggles the mind, because once you see 3D, you can't un-see it; and if I was a Dev or on a team, I would advocate for it every time, even if the reason was selfish it isn't hurting anything and they obviously know how to do it, so..? Yeah I know, priority and money, always the money..but still.. see I can't just write it off, you mean to tell me NOT one of the people connected to this cares? Or has a son that he couldn't wait to show the newest game he helped create to in 3D like he did for every other LEGO game? It just doesn't add up.
Oh well, myself and MY son will finally play the game in 3D, and THAT's thanks to people like you Mike, who do give a Shiite.
You and others like you are a rare bread these days.
