Error in Stereo Driver
Any one know how to correct this problem?

I have the GTX 560 Ti, under windows 7 64 bit. I uninstalled all nvidia drivers and software and restarted. Then I downloaded "270.61-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-english-whql" and it installed successfully.

At the end of the initial configuration (which seems to test the 3D vision setup) I got the error message (see image)

What can I do to fix this?

Do you have a 3D Vision emitter connected to this PC?

Ok, no longer of concern. It's working again.

Interesting to comment on the communication style: in this exchange andrewf put a question, while intending to give a direction.

I think andrewf wanted to say "this is caused by a broken usb connection to the receiver".

But I read a literal question, and was fooled into a reply...

It worked for a while, and now it happens again.
Even though the regular green light is on the emitter, and the glasses are on. I get the error again, but now it's in Googleearth.

I wonder if this is a hardware error, needing a return, or am I misinterpreting something more common and software related?

I took this up with tridef, and they said they could not provide technical support because my monitor (the very generic common Benq XL 2410T) doesn't fall within their very exclusive list of high end monitors. What a way to turn away business!

Turns out, you need to go fullscreen, problem solved.
