For reference. I am of course using the fix, have All settings on max, but yes unfortunately, the advanced ambient occlusion must be turned off as well as the blending. But for some reason it was only an issue for me when I run a surround resolution! Single screen I see no problems.
The only other issue I have is some of the car's (and some of the cars in tandem with certain levels.) have these really annoying windscreen reflections (I only use cock pit views) that don't really translate in 3dVision correctly.
Sometimes you can fix by changing from over the bonnet to the cockpit view, but I'd obviously like to find a real fix.
Is this a known issue?

The game is on sale this weekend and I am finding myself tempted.
Has anyone tested the 1.1 update from a few days ago? Which coincides with the console release, it looks to me like the kind of patch that would mess everything up.

No. Everything is perfect.
BUT you have to turn off environment reflections which is broken. Who cares about this anyway.
My new favourite racing game.
That's great. Downloading update now...
Currently, the main problem I have with this fix is that when using the chase camera at night time (with headlights on), there are moving black boxes next to the car. Very distracting. I don't have a screenshot, but it should be easy to reproduce.

Play in First person or bonnet mode.. less penalties too ;)
I found you have to turn off advanced blending as well.

This game is amazing. I bought it when it first came out on early access.
In cant wait for VR support for it.
Turning your head and looking out of the door window as you scream it sideways around a hairpin bend!
It gets you pumped! 3 left into 2 right caution over crest into jump, narrows on exit!
I love rally driving, thats why I had two subarus STI's a few years back.
VR, fanatec shells and pedals and Dbox motion actuators and it'll be pretty much like being there!

hehe nice man. I like what you say... it is in my opinion also one of the best Rally games, reminds me of my first experience I had with V-Rally back in the days. And yes, the Vive is rocking it.

Everytime I try to start this with 3dvision enabled, it crashes at launch. Works fine with 3dvision disabled. I'm using the 1.1 update. Anybody have the same issue?

I noticed after the update, on one of the courses (don't remember which), all the shadows are messed up unless they are set to "Ultra" or "Off". Also messed up shadows with the new track preview at the beginning of a race. Probably just a few shader fixes that need updated. Any plans to fix this? :)

well I havent noticed anything broken but I dont play it much lately, but out of curiosity I decide to check the game today as it had it's 1.2 update with VR support. Unfortunateley I cant check the VR as its only for rift atm and I have the steam version of the game which doesnt work with revive.
What I wanted to see is that if the game renders properly in 3d without the 3dvision fix, unfortunataley after removing the fix I have all sorts of weird shadows popping... same settings/same track with the fix works flawlessly... so I guess making the game to render properly in VR does not equal that the game renders properly using 3dvision.

No I would say they are significantly different. VR is SBS I think
