3D Vision Glasses not working Need help with glasses
Hi, I am having issues with my new 3D Vision system.
I have a GTX 580, latest drivers (285.38). I just bought and received Viewsonic V3D245, which has an inbuilt emitter and comes with the glasses.
Anyhow, have it hooked up, glasses fully charged. Monitor is running at 1900x1080, 120Hz. Press the button and glasses light up green for 20secs.
Run the Sterescopic 3D setup wizard and when I get to the point where there are octagons and triangles and they are overlayed, and you are meant to see triangles in one eye and octagons in the other. Anyway, the issue I have is that the glasses do not split the two images apart. The monitor has the green light on indicating it is in 3D mode and the emitter is on, but the glasses are not 'activating'.
Further tests show that in Portal 2 and Warcraft, when I press Ctrl-T the screen does activate the sterescopic mode (seeing double on the monitor) in both games, but still the glasses dont activate.
As far as I can tell, the shutters are not running. Can anyone help? I've seen several threads on this but no answers.
- Do I need to somehow sync my glasses and the monitor? Or is it auto.
- Are the glasses faulty?
- Anything?

If you have a monitor with a built in emitter, try unplugging it from the wall to reset it.
For more help, you need to give more info.
Display Model, connection type, GPU, OS, Driver Version,
If you are at the wizard and you are stuck on the shapes, try reinstalling the drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU). Leave the emitter plugged in while installing drivers.
