42" LCD and 8800GT 512mb (G92)
I just ran the 3D Vision test from Nvidia to see if I am fully compatible for their 3D glasses. I have a few questions now.

1. The test results said that my 8800GT 512 G92 is not supported!? Is that just a glitch in the app? I'm thinking it's a glitch.

2. I am using a 42" 1080p Viewsonic LCD as my monitor. The max refresh at 1920x1080p is 60Hz. I have seen people describing ways to get LCD's to work with the glasses but they do not tell you if it looks OK. Is anyone able to verify that it will work AND look good? I don't want to get the glasses if they'll only look like crap.

Thanks

I'm using 2 8800 GT in SLI they work fine. The app is wrong.

Your 42" will NOT work. There are new Viewsonic display types that have refresh rates of 120Hz. The 60Hz your LCD panel displays would barely work in the best of circumstances because you are only getting 30 frames per eye, and previous LCD refresh rates tended to be more of an emulation than true.

Sorry...you will need to get an updated monitor.

Hi There

1. I think this was an error with the tool, which should be fixed now. Please let me know if it works for you now.
2. This LCD is not on our certified list of 3D Vision display devices. Its possible you could connect to that LCD using an analog CRT connection and use 3D Vision, but you may have a really poor experience with the very low refresh rate.
