Acer H5360 shows up as digital display under Nvidia Control Panel
I just recently installed a gtx 470 and after about a day my Control panel stopped recognizing my Acer H5360 as the monitor and it shows up as "digital display" I've swapped my HDMI cable for a vga cable and it's showing up as Acer now, but the screen and colors don't look anywhere as crisp and as vibrant as they did with the HDMI. I've tried unistalling the drivers and reinstalling them but to no luck yet. Any suggestions would be nice. I read somewhere awhile back about the Acer's EDID file, but couldn't make heads or tails of it. Any advice would help. Thanks

It looks like you have corrupt EDID on your acer. It happened with me also last month. Look at the following forum posts.

I actually followed the post that said to start 3d setup wizard, then ALT+TAB out and go to change resolutions, then 1280x720p @ 120hz is available to select. My display still shows up as "Digital Display", but at least its showing up at the right resolution now
