Yah, there are too many variables. Especially if you want to use the wrapper for a game without an existing fix.
He has a Superdepth 3D version, which should work for you. His OpenGL to dx11 wrapper has a synch timing issue, if your PC can not maintain 120Hz at all times within the game. AFAIK, this has not been corrected yet and could be problematic on a VR device. On a monitor if you drop below 120 Hz, you notice it, but on VR it might be a deal breaker.
