The only time i've run into a situation where I looked at iz3d is for the Witcher game which does not work properly with Nvidia's 3D Vision. It is said to work flawlessly with iz3d.
I didn't think 1 game was enough to buy a separate pair of glasses.

also, i did download the demo of iz3d, i wasn't able to use it (requires different pair of glasses) but it didnt seem as user friendly as nvidia's.
