Which Optoma Projector to buy for 3D Vision? Or what other projector would you recommend.
Okay, this is my first post so I'm sorry if I come off as a bit of a noob.
I currently own a Optoma HD200X Projector which has been a great little projector over the past 2 years. It is connected to by custom built media centre (via a DVI-D cable) which has a Geforce GTX 460 (just the 768MB version). I want to go down the 3D route, I already own the 3D vision glasses but the only thing I can get them to work on so far is my ancient 85Hz CRT (obviously I don't have a 120Hz monitor at the moment), but I know how to set them up and use them. I will be using a new projector for 3D blu rays (already have a LG Blu-Ray and HDDVD drive in the media centre), and occasionaly 3D gaming. I want to stick with Optoma because of the good experience I have had with my last projector and I won't need to get a new ceiling mount. The problem is I'm a little confused as to which optoma projector to buy, that just works (like my CRT does) with no problems or changing .ini files or anything like that. I also want to be able to run 3D at least at 1280x720 resolution. The projectors I have thought about are the HD67 and the GT720, but neither are manufactured any more plus I heard the GT720 doesn't display 3D at 1280x720. So I have thought about the EW536 or the HD600X, can anyone tell me if either of these projectors work or recommend another optoma projector that meets my criteria that is the same sort of price as the projectors I have mentioned? I would be willing to go for a different brand if it means a problem free setup but I would prefer an Optoma projector.
