How to transmit 3D signal over a long wire? Long HDMI cable tend to be out of sync
Hi,

Does any body have any experience with transmission of 3D signal over long distances? I want install a 3D projector about 50 feet away from the PC. I tried with a long HDMI cable but the quality of the signal was not good. The 3D was also getting out of sync sometime. Is there a better way to transmit?

Thanks

hello, you must have original long cable without reduction. Only HARD DVI to HDMI. Double shielded SINgle link kabel is the bet for 720p 120Hz. Cost in Czech 20 USD :-) working good.

PS : long HDMI 1.3 + dualink reduction DVI to HDMI for 1080p. // NOT WORKING !! in 720p 120Hz ;-)

Thanks for the suggestions. But what do you mean by hard dvi to HDMI? I tried it with dvi-hdmi adaptor and a long (50 feet) hdmi v1.3 cable and it did not work.

Could you send me some links so that I can see the specifications of the cable you are talking about?
