I made this thread, to see how many others are playing GTAIV in 3d lately
and to share tips GFX tuning among each other.
Since GTAIV is one of the better 3D ready games.
I personally can not bear to play the game in 720p mode.
So I use the low 23hz 1080 option, because the res is higher and sharper.
I turned off shadows, set distance view to 70%, detail distance 80% and traffic
density to 70% all the rest maximized.
I'm about to experiment with some ENB settings to combine with the 3D to achieve
some mind blowing eye candy.
Any other tips and discussion is would be appreciated here.
Also I encourage everyone to start posting more 3D pics at
http://www.3dvisionlive.com/
I mean come on guys we can sit here and complain about the
half ass features we do have with nvidia and their 3dtvplay/3dvision or we could
actually enjoy the hardware we all spent our hard earned money on.
I def didn't buy this 3d VG278H for nothing and I'm sure you guys are gonna make
the best of the hardware also.
Everyone can start by posting their hardware.

Yeah people need to make use of 3d vision live. I been putting up videos lately and I highly recommend it to others.
Download fraps. Record up to 5 minutes. Use staxrip, reduce size to 999 mb and use mp4 container. Upload onto 3dvision live. I havent played gta iv yet besides to intro. Would love to see the game people rave about.

@dsk1210 I wanna try Icehancer but I'm afraid I'm a little low on the CPU side
to run them at decent FPS with eye candy.
What kinda FPS are you getting with 3d on?
Also I'm gonna start doing some 3D screen shots of these high poly

The 3d should make them almost virtual model like
@eqzitara Whats your name on live?
I'm blueshark747 on there.
Also for GTAIV to be so overlooked not even have an official 3d profile,
its rendered really nice with 3d.
I wanna try the FXAA that Nvidia has now with new 301 drivers but I heard it doesn't go well with 3D yet.

ICEnhancer will def take a toll on your FPS, along with any ENB 3d will take even more.
I actually got a performance boost with the new nvidia drivers, on a 1.0.4 stock version of GTAIV.
For some reason ICE ENBs eat way too many resources for me and I only get like 17FPS max with them.
Disabling shadows gives a huge FPS boost, but still doesn't help when your trying to run ENB+3D 1080P@23hz Mode
As far as 1200x720P@60hz they all work great I get a constant 30+ FPS, but this mode looks like total ass and does the ENB and 3D no justice.
720p will give the best FPS, if you can find some great external AA injections maybe to try and reduce the obvious jaggies that are even more noticeable in720p mode
So now I'm sticking to a stock GTAIV install using 1080p mode, btw stock GTAIV has horrible horrible anti-aliasing and ENB's AA is the way to go.
Right now I would be happy with 1080p 3D mode and AA+Reflections ENB only.

The problem with the FXAA is with 3DTV Play software, i think with 3D vision kit works well. Maybe flickerings is another bug.
eqzitara: Singularity is a fantastic game!!! sadly a finished in 2D (if i remember well there are 3 endings)...great you fix this game in 3D /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> when you upload the fix i reintall the game.
