Something I noticed about ghosting that I thought I'd share. Also a question to those who claim
First a little background. The other day I was playing Arkham Assylum the usual way, using the KB + mouse huddled right up to the 2233rz in 3D mode. It felt more console-friendly to me so I decided to use the 360 controller for it. My new position was 8 feet away from the 2233rz, still donning the glasses. I played for about 5 minutes before the thought went through my head - I saw very little ghosting compared to before. I never noticed this difference in other 360 controller-enabled games before because this is the first one where I didn't play 100% of the time with a gamepad, so I didn't have the difference readily on hand.

I'm not sure if it's because being farther away forces the the image to be more centered in the glasses, thus being viewed from the area of the glasses least prone to show ghosting - or if it's because the light has to travel through more air and is thus already darker before entering the LCD glasses. Either way I'm playing as many games as I can with a gamepad and distanced away a good 8 feet, from now on. Just thought I'd share; I've noticed not everyone has the same experience so it's possible this might not work for everyone.

Anyways to those whom have no apparent ghosting, what do you use for your display method and how far away do you usually sit?

If you read the 3dvision product manual i believe it says you should be at least 5 feet away and less than like 12 for optimal picture

thats why i opted for the dlp instead of monitor , im about 8 feet away and i have almost no ghosting whatsoever in most games
