Just installed Samsung Monitor and Geforce 3D Vision package
I ran the setup and everything seemed ready to go.
However when I ran the demo that came with package all I got was a black screen, some glass flicker and a small thin line of graphics at the very top of the screen.
Im running an Intel core2 quad cpu 3.00ghz (no overclocking)
EVGA NF780i SLI Motherboard
2 EVGA 9800GTX+ in SLI
4GB Corsair Dominator Memory
Soundblaster audigy xfi gaming edition sound card
I uninstalled the drivers I was using and used the drivers that came on the installation for my video cards.
I really hope I just screwed up the installation and its something isnt broken. :(

Hi and welcome!
If you're using sli you should really install the latest nvidiadrivers from the nvidiasite. The retaildrivers might not support sli in stereo.
Uninstall all displaydrivers, reboot. When asked to automatically install drivers for the graphicadapter, dont. Instead run the downloaded displaydriversetup.
You are running vista right? Because 3d-vision doesn't support xp.

Yes I am running Vista Ultimate 64bit.
When uninstalling the drivers I only want to uninstall the Nvidia Display drivers and nothing else correct?
Also when I first followed the instructions and uninstalled the original drivers and restarted the system automatically reinstalled drivers without asking permission.

You have to do a complete install with the latest CD version 1.07. Download it, extract it to a folder, and run the launch.exe file. It will install the graphics driver and then reboot. After rebooting it will install the 3D drivers. It will tell you when to plug in the emitter just before running the 3D test. After a uninstall, it should not reinstall the drivers automatically, but will install the default windows driver which works fine in 2D. If you have 3D drivers already installed, I would also remove them before running the fresh install.

Woot I got it going and the games look awesome.
The one problem I have left is Im able watch dvd movies in 3d but cant figure out how to get the sound going. I have powerDVD9 and when I try to select an audio codec the choices I have are Cyberlink audio decoder (PDVD9), Cyberlink audio decoder (PDVD9 UPnP), and Cyber Audio Wizard. None which are providing any sound.
Looking online check FAQ's but also decided to ask the folks here.

Well, first question is, what movies are you watching in 3D on PowerDVD? My understanding is you have to use Nvidia's Stereoscopic Player to see 3D. I also have PowerDVD9 and see nothing that indicates it works in 3D. For most audio problems you have to install the proper codec to get sound, but with DVD's you should need no special codec. I would try installing the AC3 filter codec which solves many audio problems, or the Combined Community Codec pack. Other than that I'm puzzled as to how you can play a 3D movie on PowerDVD with the exception of Anaglyph which requires red/green colored glasses.
