Thanks for your comprehensive review regarding this game title. Since the game is designed more for consoles, I'll definitely stay away. I was not a big fan of DA - Origins anyway which I realize puts me in the minority :)
I do want ask why you are using a EDID override to Acer H5360? I just recently purchased the BenQ W1070 projector and I am starting learn more all this stuff I am reading about EDID override, downsampling, DSR etc.....just curious as to why this is worth doing? Your thoughts or opinion would be appreciated, or anyone's for that matter.....
Cheers!

Sure, the EDID override is useful for being able to play in 60 Hz / 60 fps at 720p and if you want to keep using your Nvidia glasses, instead of having to buy specific ones for the Benq.
With the EDID override you're basically fooling your PC into thinking it's connected to a 3D Vision compatible Acer H5360, in order to get the benefit of 60 fps gameplay.
So it's a toss-up for you between 1080p at 24 fps (which sucks) or 720p at 60 fps with the EDID override.
I consider frame rate to be the single most important technical aspect, simply because gaming is all about responsive controls and I can't stand laggy gameplay/delayed input, so it's definitely 720p @ 60 Hz for me.
Admittedly, the Asus monitor delivers 1080p 3D @ 60 Hz and has less input lag than a projector, but I still prefer the Benq.

ok, cheers Gryzor, makes perfect sense. I had received two sets of glasses with the BENQ and on their own, there about $80 CAD a pop. I also have some Samsung glasses from my previous setup which I use for movies in a different room. I love the projector setup and since this thread is dedicated to Dragon Age - Inquisition, I'll drop this subject and find another thread if I have more questions. I'll do some more research, but your feedback was helpful....

I just tried the plugin and it works as before... The game I run it against is the normal deluxe edition (which should be the normal one + some dlcs). I tried it both on Origin and Steam (as you can redeem the steam version on Origin) and saw no problem... What version of WSF are you using? (r662 ?) If not download that version from my website and add the plugin there;)).
One thing I see it doesn't work properly is the screen autodetect... so manually put in your resolution there;))

I have been reading this thread with great interest hoping you all would find a fix so we can play Dragon Age Inquisition with the level of quality for 3D Vision we hope to experience.
Has the fix progressed to the point that we can try it out ourselves? If so, could you please post instructions for how to install the fix for those of us that are not as competent as you all who are responsible for creating and testing the fix?
I am using the Dragon Age Inquisition Deluxe Edition and Origin launch site, not Steam.
Thank you for any help,
and thanks to all of you who are responsible for helping creat these fixes. Your time and efforts are very much appreciated by the community here that all share the same passion for playing games in stereoscopic 3D Vision.

There is no fix yet... What I tried so far was to find a stable version of the 3DMigoto wrapper that works with the game. It was mostly trial & error. Then I just found one shader for the shadows (not all the game uses) and disabled that just to see if it works.
Now fixing the shaders itself proves to be a bit more complicated as for some reason the game gets confused when we alt+tab to modify the shader... which means every time we modify something we need to restart the game... and takes ages...
Don't get your hopes to high up yet. If a fix will be made it will be made available here. Mike & bo3b are the guys who are the real fixers here;)) They have much more in-depth knowledge on how to fix shadow shaders than I have... So it might take a while until we see something for this game:)

Thanks for responding to my post so quickly. I appreciate the explanation of what you've been doing. I'm trying to get a better understanding of the process and your reply helps.
Thanks to you all for taking the time to try and fix this game, should be an awesome experience in proper 3D vision.

On a little side note.... I was able to make the game run in CM Mode ^_^
See below (100% depth ofc). Halos and all the weird CM thingies are there as well;))
To enable CM mode basically:
- Add the exe to Battlefield 4.
- Set pre-rendered frames to 2
- Start the game.
- The moment is starts (BEFORE the BIO/EA logo) hit CTRL+T to disable 3D Vision.
- Get to the main menu and load your savegame
- Once in-game press CTRL+T => You will see flat img.
- turn off 3d vision and hit ALT+ENTER to go to window mode.
- ALT+ENTER again to go to fullscren
- HIT CTRL+T to enable 3D vision
- Voila! CM kicks in properly;))
I know is not as good as proper 3D but...hey at least is not 2D lol;))

:D I guess thats what nvidia envisioned us to think about the CM mode
on the side note is there a way to disable all the shadows alltogether as it seems that they're mostly responsibile for broken experience? Like is there a config where you can set shadows to "0" or something to just get rid of them for the time being?
im going to get the game as its under GGG so I can return it if i encounter any issues (seen a bunch of topics on EA answerHQ with people having issues) and Im curious how the game plays out.
