Vizio 120hz/1080p Input 3d Vision?
The M and P series 4k sets offer 1080p/120hz signal input but do not officially support 3d (no built in emitter). I assume the 3d vision kit provides the emitter required? Anyone see any obstacles regarding running 3d vision on these sets?

I am still almost 5 years later looking for a large 1080p 120hz 3d screen.... There exists nothing. The largest there is, is 27" monitor.... However, one person on these forums mentioned he achieved 1080p 120hz 3d using two projectors and a special signal splitting box, and that he had been using it for some time.

Pretty sure you can't do anything with 3D Vision. Should also be noted those Vizio sets are only 120hz @ 1080p with the larger screens. Forget if it starts at 55 or 60 inches with the M-series. The smaller sets will show 120hz in the control panel, but it's a 60hz panel doing frame skipping (and the 120hz marketing spec is just that... marketing non-sense. It's "effective 120hz".) Otherwise those small screens wouldn't be a bad monitor (assuming you didn't need the 3D). As is, I think they're junk.

Could you provide more insight as to why 3d wouldn't be possible on these sets with an external emitter? It is technically possible to do 60hz 3d on any 120hz input monitor as far as I'm aware, as long as the hdmi bandwidth is sufficient. I figured it might not be "officially supported" by Nvidia though and locked down at the driver level.
