Where is the best place to buy a used 3D Vision 2 kit?
I want to get a 3D Vision 2 kit but I don't want to pay full price for something that I don't think I'm going to be using all that often (or will be supported for much longer, for that matter). Where do you guys recommend that I buy one?

I can't seem to find any that are less than $100 or so (taking into account shipping). Am I expecting the price to be too low? Should I just pay the extra $20 and get them new?

So either $95 for a complete, used kit, or $120 new from Amazon but will not ship for another 1-4 weeks. Which one should I buy?

Also, my monitor is the Dell S2417DG. It has the "3D Vision" sticker but I can't find if it supports LightBoost. It has "ULMB" which from what I read is very similar but it's not 3D related. Does this monitor work with LightBoost?

If is a 3D Vision 2 Monitor - which it is - it supports lightboost. All newer 3D Vision Monitors support it. (Except Gen 1 from 2009-2010).

Or you could get a 3D Vision 1 Kit, they're much cheaper and still work fine with 3DV2 monitors... they're what I'm using with mine :)

Be sure to enable and use the advanced keys http://3dvision-blog.com/111-changing-the-convergence-level-in-3d-v ision/ Also check out http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html and http://3dsurroundgaming.com/OpenGL3DVisionGames.html for stereoscopic compatibility patches made by the posters on these forums. If you ever find that the 3D is engaged but whacked out/won't sync, unplug the monitor for a minute from it's power source to reset the G-Sync module.

Is that a good price for a 3D Vision 1 kit? Do 3D Vision 1's glasses work well? Are they comfortable? And if I want to pay the extra $25 to buy a pair of 3D Vision 2 glasses later down the road will they work with the 3D Vision 1 receiver?

Yes the emitter is the same and will work with V1 or V2 glasses.

I think they work well and they're comfortable but then again I've never tried 3DV2 glasses...
