3D Help?
Hi, i own a ASUS VG278HE 3D Monitor with the 3D Vision 2 Kit but when i view a side-by-side image or video in my browser it just comes up as 2 images and not in 3D. Does Nvidia 3D Vision 2 support 3d in a browser? Thanks.

Can you view the video content on 3DVisionLive.com? Firefox is required for viewing 3D HTML5 content on YouTube.

Also, go to www.3dvisionlive.com and look at stereo photos there, as a start. Those are always stereo in Chrome, on my system. In general, all browsers will only show stereo photographs as side-by-side. To view photos, you can use NVidia's 3D Vision Photo Viewer, or StereoPhotoMaker.

Where else are you looking? Side by side pics won't automatically display in 3d unless they're in the correct format. Most are not, because most people don't have a 3d monitor.

That depends on the site and your browser to some extent also but if there isn't a viewer embedded into the site, like on 3DVisionLive, a JPS/PNS will either open or save depending on the browser and it's settings or if it's a JPG/PNG then it will have to be saved and the extension will have to be renamed to JPS or PNS.

You can always do other 3D viewing though, like cross-eyed viewing as demonstrated by some interesting pictures here (moon sand in 3D!): http://www.sandgrains.com/3D-Gallery-three-dimensional-microscope-photography.html You can see side-by-side images like this, and cross eye view it to see 3D (laser printing on paper micrograph):
