3D Fix Manager - Application for installing 3D Vision Fixes + Hotkey Editing Support

Hi quickkill,
thanks for the videos!
I've just set the same settings like you in Video 1 and launched the game in TV mode / Reversed Interlacing enabled for TV in display profiles and interleave pattern 1/2 were set automatically to 0xff00ff00 in Registry for me when starting the game. The other interleave pattern you showed in Video 2 was when enabling Normal Line Interlacing for TV? Is this correct? Or was it when you enabled Reversed Line Interlacing?
I don't have a passive 3D TV so I can't test it if it's actually working. I only read that for Reversed line interlacing Interleave Pattern 1/2 have to be set to "0xff00ff00" and Nvidia driver must be prevented from resetting this to default "0x00ff00ff" when launching a game. Please let me know which value for interleave pattern 1/2 works for you and I'll fix it.
Another possible reason why it's not working is that 3D Fix Manager can't change Interleave Pattern because another tool locked all write access in your Windows Registry Key completely. You can check this by right clicking on "Stereo 3D" folder in Windows Registry. Then choose "Permissions" (don't know exactly how Microsoft calls this on English). Administratos and System user should have "Full Access Rights" (again I hope this is correct on English).

Sorry i need to clarity.
Video 2 was taken right after i took video 1. I made no changes in my registry settings.
So right after i boot up tomb raider and end the video 1, i open my browser and look for how to find that registry regarding 3d vision eye swapping because i wanted you to see those settings and i couldn't remember where they were.
Does that clarify?

Ah all right. So it was after you set it to "Line Interlacing".
But which interleave pattern is in your Registry after starting a game and "Reversed Line Interlacing" enabled? At least interleave pattern for normal "Line Interlacing" looks correct in your video (0x00ff00ff).
For Reversed Line Interlacing Interleavepattern 0/1 should be 0xff00ff00 after starting a game.

First thing.
I tried and went to the 3d registry settings folder and I made sure that all permissions were set to allow. They were already set to allow so that can't be it. Still not working.
Yes you are right, It was after I set to normal line interlacing.
I don't know why there is a redness and 3d is not working when using reversed line interlacing. As you can see there is a difference in the video between the two.
To answer your other question I made another video. so you can see. I don't think this is a problem of the eyes being switched. I just think reverse line interlacing is not working for some reason, like the actual 3d is broken. I suspect this because It works if I choose normal line interlacing + 3d eye swapper program.

To answer your question. the video shows that when reverse line interlacing is selected it does go to 0xff00ff00 in the registry settings. So that is working.

I tried eye swapper yesterday and compared what this tool does. It also sets interleave pattern to 0xff00ff00. My best guess is that "Stereoviewertype = 2" is somehow wrong for reversed interlacing and 3D Vision Discover is chosen instead (at least it looks like anaglyph 3D).
I've done a little change to 3D Fix Manager to not set StereoViewerType=2 any more for Reversed Line Interlacing. Maybe this fixes the issue. Otherwise I run out of ideas as I don't see any differences to Eye Swapper app any more.
You can try this version here: http://fixmanager.rentus.de/downloads/fix_manager_1.42_reversedInterlacing_fix.zip

Okay that fixed it!
Its working now. So it appears that SteroviewType=2 does not work and reverts to 3d vision discover.
Anyway its working! Hopefully you can add this fix to the official release.

Yeah nice xD. I'll add this officially to version 1.43 and do the same fix for Reversed checkerboard (maybe this is buggy, too if someone should need that).
Out of cursiosity: Which value do you get for StereoViewerType now after launching a game? It seems like Nvidia driver is changing it automatically for Reversed Interlacing. You find this entry at the same Registry location where you also found interleavePattern 0/1.

As announced I've added automatic installation and configuration of your dgVoodoo 3D fixes. I think this will make everyone's life more comfortable ;). Btw Resident Evil 7 is awesome in 3D! You've done a really great job. I've added some optimizations to 3D Fix Manager to automatically set the required graphics options in game.

I know there are some good reasons why this isn't for everyone (shaderhackers), but for 95%+ of the community this app really makes life as simple as possible and everyone should try it.

Actually Paul, I have some feedback and not sure if it's been covered before, there are so many pages so please forgive me being lazy.
3dfix manager takes so long to start on my system. I'm talking minutes at a time. I assume it's something to do with scanning the paths, either as detected in the registry or from custom configured search paths?
Admittedly, I do have multiple drives, multiple steam folders etc.
Is there any clear explanation or anything I can do to optimize it?

I've added a feature for caching game locations - so the applications doesn't need to search the games each time the application is started. This should shorten the time needed to start the application. You find this feature in "Settings" tab -> "Application Settings" tab. Look at group "Detecting installed Games" - there is a new option "Cache detected game paths for faster app start". Hope this solves your issues. It's theoretical even possible to further shorten launch time - currently the app is still checking if the folders exist on the HDD. If performance is still not good enough I'll add a option to remove this optionally. Then everything is relying on the cache and no HDD access is performed any more.
Currently I've installed about 50 games and it takes around 3-4 secons the first time I start the application after booting windows. When relaunching 3D Fix Manager after booting it takes 1-2 seconds. So I guess it's just because of heavy HDD access for you. Please try the new feature of version 1.43 described above and report if this helped for you. If not I'll add a new option for disabling HDD access. I guess Geforce Experience is doing the same because when renaming a game folder it does not detect this.

What a work Paul :)
3DFix manager is so perfect for me i don't know what to suggest you to add :) . Are you working on a means to an Automatic sheet addition when a shaderhacker adds a fix for a game ?

thanks for the videos!

Steroviewertype is 0x00e2000(14811136) that is for reverse interlacing being enabled
Change notes:
@Masterotaku:

Hi rustyk,
I've addressed this issue with the current release. Please have a look at the post above:

3DFix manager is so perfect for me i don't know what to suggest you to add :) . Are you working on a means to an Automatic sheet addition when a shaderhacker adds a fix for a game ?
