Ok, donwloaded, but the name of the file is "Nvidia_3D_Vision_v260.81_driver.exe", and the new forceware is v260.99 and in the bundle it is included a folder named "NV3DVision" with a file named "3DVision_260.99.exe". I must understand that if I install I overwrite 3D drivers to a previous version? is the Nvidia_3D_Vision_v260.81_driver.exe is named incorrectly? why it is not inclueded in the 260.99 combo?... I have suspicious about that it is not the correct way to install (also it is not clear in the installation instructions). I know it "works", but I´m not sure that I have the last stereo drivers installed. I´m really demanding more clear instructions from Nvidia.
PD: I can´t find where to check what stereo drivers version is installed on my computer. Sistem information in the Help of the Nvidia CP inform only about GEforce controller version and nothing about 3D. I only can see information about it in the Windows CP (if I tray to uninstall drivers), but I am not sure that Windows inform correctly after overwriting drivers and usb drivers.
PD2: Nview (included in the bundle) not compatible with this hardware (gtx 460) and this (OS Win7)... there is a way to reduce ghosting (tweaking visuals parameters) and still not possible to use. Why?

Still waiting for an answer/solution. I have asked in thwo different threads and no response.
With CD1.34 (it install all needed, including USB driver) I have no sync problem with my Acer H5360 proyector, and Games run smooth without problems (but it is an old driver and do not support very well newest games).
With CD1.37, or with Forceware 260.99, with "Nvidia_3D_Vision_v260.81_driver.exe" installed (the USB driver needed and not included/installed automatically with the combos), I have the lastest drivers, but two critical problems:
1) My Acer H5360 pj flicker continuously because it is out of sync, so it is totally unusefull in 3D.
2) When I toggle from 3D to 2D in the Nvidia CP my framerates reduzes drastically in all games (I can experience a drastical drop from 120 to 15 frames/second). RAmdomly sometimes I select 2D in the Nvidia CP and when entering a game I can play perfectly without the fps drop, but most times I experience the drop.
Windows 7 64bits, Nividia GTX 460, Intel i7 930 (with HT disabled in bios), Asus P6X58D-E motherboard, Realtek audio integrated.
Is it possible that the USB driver is the problem? Where to download a previous one to test? (I can´t find any .exe in CD1.34 to install alone).
PD: uninstalled Stereo drivers and USB controller when low fpw, and now I have always low pfs. Really 260.99 driver is WHQL?

b4tman, first off, you should understand that the 3D Vision driver AND the 3D Vision USB Controller driver are two ENTIRELY DIFFERENT drivers !!
The 260.81 USB Controller driver included with Full 3D Vision CD 1.37 is the LATEST Controller driver, which you MUST install. Once installed, don't uninstall it, while upgrading to the Geforce 260.99 drivers, because it is NOT included in 260.99 Pack.
Your problem seems to have become complicated. I'd suggest you uninstall all nVidia drivers, then do a clean install of the Full CD 1.37 drivers ( all drivers included). After that, install the 260.99 WHQL Drivers. You shouldn't have any problems, if you just keep things simple.
As for the low FPS with 3D Vision enabled, it could be because your System isn't upto scratch. Even if you have a reasonably good System, 3D Vision is pretty demanding, I can tell you from experience.

Thanks for the reply, but you did not read correctly and do not understand. I know perfectly that 3d vision driver and USB driver are different things, I have the USB controller driver downloaded separatelly (the same version), and also it is included in the CD1.37 but no .exe to install it and it is not installed by default and no option in the installation menu (this is why I downloaded separatelly and installed... it may be the same, as somebody told in this forum).
Of course I have uninstalled ALL Nvidia drivers and made a new installation with CD 1.37, and also I have done the same with 260.99, but no luck. I think I know well how to uninstall and install, seem to be a simple thing, the only confusion in the past I had was about the USB driver (because the version do not match and because is not included in the Installation proccess of the combo). The low fps problem is not when I enable stereo, If you see I wrote it happen when I DISABLE stereo and play in 2D. Usually games that I play at 60hz in Stereo (rendering perfectly in 3D) show me 15 fps when I disable Stereo and play in 2D (of course unplayable), this is ONE problem, and do not hapend with previous drivers, only with CD 1.37 and later forcewares.
I´m totally sure that it is a driver problem, otherwise previous CD 1.34 would have these problems, but not. Of course I have the option to use CD1.34, but it is not the solution, new games needs last drivers.

Guys I have asked around numerous times without getting an answer but for those of us with 120hz monitors do these drivers cause our cards to run 100% at full blast in windows as well as games? Numerous people are saying with the 260.xx series of cards that windows clock speeds are not down clocking after exiting games. This is a deal breaker for me with dual 480's.

There I disagree with you. If it was a driver problem, this forum would be flooded with complaints about drastic drop in fps with the latest drivers ! Since this is not happening, I can at least assure you that it is NOT a driver problem.

It is probably that people do not toggle usually Stereo ON/OFF, because if you only play 3D or if you do not have Samsung 2233RZ monitor there is no reason to do. With Samsung 2233rz monitor it is needed because Magicbright is forzed to maximun bright when 3D is enabled (something that I don´t know why is not changed to optional), so to play in 2D without burning our eyes I must disable 3D.
Also the two problems can happen only with certain hardware, so it is not very extrange that people do not notice it. If I play with the monitor (not the pj) in 3D all is fine.
I think the problem can be associated with USB driver or with H5360 pj. The usb driver because the problems do no happen with previoius ones (cd1.37 and forceware 260.99 uses the same usb driver v2680.81). And also I have suspicious about the influence of the h5360 PJ in the problem, because I have a sync problem with it, and also in certain moment using 260.99 driver I experienced something I never saw, the PJ was unable to recognize some resolutions fully supported without problems, and it drove to me to uninstall and install the forceware to solve the problem.
I suppose Nvidia read with attention these posts in this forum to correct driver problems (we are a good amount of betatesters), and it is my pourpose. I hope the new driver solve these things, because I am sure Nvidia know perfectly what happend (drivers never are perfect). There is a law that never fail... when something works fine in the past (past drivers for me), and something happend that makes fail (new ones), this "something" is the cause of the problem.

You could be right... there may be a problem with your H5360 pj, certainly not with USB Controller Driver.
Also, I DO quite often toggle 3D off and on, especially when a friend or family member also wants to watch me game, as I have only 1 pair of 3D Vision glasses. If anything, the fps increases to a ridiculously high 110-120 fps, thanks to my 480 GTX SLI.
And even when I had only a single 480 GTX, fps in 2D was never a problem.

Why?

Why?

There I disagree with you. If it was a driver problem, this forum would be flooded with complaints about drastic drop in fps with the latest drivers ! Since this is not happening, I can at least assure you that it is NOT a driver problem.
