Serious harassment going on

This is getting a bit ridiculous and out of hand. Let me try to bring this to a close. Flugan, you mentioned way back in the beginning of this thread, before it got entirely derailed, that you would be very happy with a 3D crosshair for CS:GO, correct? I just so happen to have that game installed, but never played it. If I go ahead and try to make a 3D crosshair, can we put and end to this thread? (and hopefully any future ones similar, although I'm not going to count my blessings for that) I truly think that is the best offer of gratitude/outcome you can get from all this.

There was a thread a few days ago about CSGO and using the Nvidia laser sight, that might be helpful. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/917393/3d-vision/cs-go-nvidia-laser-sight/

Hey Flugan, I'll pay you 100 bucks (canadian though, haha) if you fix the flashlight being partially incorrect in Metro: Last Light (or Last Light Redux, your choice). It's the only issue in the game - when there's an alpha texture like some 2d peice of a plant hanging down, that part will become at screen depth at the very edge of flashlight range. That's the only issue of note, but since most of the game relies on the flashlight, it's very disruptive.

This thread has a purpose as nobody seems to know what I do and what I have contributed to 3D Migoto. I mean no disrespect to anyone but the ignorance factor is very high. I'm one of the main develepores of 3D Migoto and my contributions have led to fixes being created for 10 games. Nobody even knew this before I started telling them. People should support 3D Migoto not offend one of the major developers of 3D Migoto. This community is based around helixmod and 3D Migoto. I've done extremely significant contributions to 3D Migoto. These are responsible for some really high profile game fixes. I'm just asking people to respect 3D Migoto developers like me. There is only three of us and we have all separate areas of exppertise and together we have made 3D Migoto a success. The fact that I have also written a separate wrapper completely from scratch does not make me less of a 3D Migoto developer. The flugan wrapper worked on windows 7+ while 3D Migoto was still crashing. This also helped a lot of people who was running windows 7+. A lot of people has enjoyed my work but none of them actually know that it was only possible because of all my work. I have only one agenda, telling people who I am and what I have done for the community. Most people didn't even know I am a 3D Migoto developer since it became open source. Today it is my great pleasure to announce that Chiri's 3Dmigoto has been released as open-source! I certainly don't mind taking request for fixes for games that I own. I should perhaps put up a thread on here for that.

If I am going to solve anything I won't take any money in advance. Fixing 3D games is so complex that I would actually want to reasearch the isssue to see what I'm able to achieve. When I solve the problem I gladly recieve the money. I don't believing in people spending money and recieving nothing in return. When it comes to donations the situation is different. Donations ar voluntary and is meant to show that you appreciate the work I've already done. If you donate you will get nothing in return it's a donation afterall. Nobody on the forum has so far been prepared to do work for hire. The system where you give me an offer and then I look into it and hopefully solve the problem seems to be a good system. It guarantees that I get the money and you get a working fix.

I had responded in my Street Fighter V thread to your question. In short: sure, I'd accept donations if offered/insisted (rshannonca@gmail.com is my Paypal), but as you had pointed out, one of my fixes (and potentially more to come) have relied on your assembler functionality in 3DMigoto, so why don't we just consider ourselves even? You've enabled me to do fixes, and I've given you something in return to enjoy. I think that's an equally beneficial arrangement, with no need for either side to monetarily compensate the other.

That's great. I'm just so happy with your work I was thinking of rewarding you but this is just as good arrangement. I helped you. You helped me. We are working together. It's nice to see how my contribution is making such a big splash as games have started using especially compute shaders. I don't think you needed any ASM in your SFV fix. Most of the games on my list are these games with compute shaders which can only be done in ASM. This is why I'm so proud of being able to provide those fixes as they could not been done without the assembler I wrote from scratch without any documentation at all. My contributions mostly lies in reverse engineering x86 ASM language and reverse engineer every single shader ASM instruction used by any game I own. Very precise and time consuming work. I'm a Integrated Electronic System Design Engineer so assembler is my second language. I do know a lot about creating hardware design as ASIC basically manufacturing a hardware chip on silicon even though I've never designed any hardware as sophisticated as a graphics card GPU. Manufacturing cost on the magnitude of $100 000. A much cheaper alternative when working on hardware is using a FPGA.

Hi Flugan, Would you kindly tell us what would be an ideal reality for you where you would be happy with the community? Perhaps we can help towards that if we understand what you want better? For example, you say you want more appreciation. Would you describe a scenario where you would be happy? For example, when a game is fixed, if we come in and post that we are grateful in that thread, would you be satisfied? Regarding monetary arrangements, perhaps there can be a pragmatic yet tasteful approach to this... Perhaps we can use something like crowd-funding where a fix for a particularly difficult game is advertised by you and funds are accumulated by multiple donations for you to fix this otherwise unfixable game. This is a win-win because if you don't think accumulated funding is worth the time investment, you can choose not to invest any time into it and everyone gets refunded. This saves from happening any scenarios where you develop a fix but no-one is "appreciative". An alternative would be a Flugan-For-Hire thread where people offer you an incentive to look into fixing a favourite game of theirs? Also, my friend, I would like to point out to you that people have very long memories. They will remember what you said to them 10 years from now if you made them feel strongly positively or negatively, so one needs to be careful about what he/she says :)

I'm really happy that Project Flugan is a success and the end result is 3D Migoto. Chiri would be proud of what he has done. His code was unstable and far from complete but with a lot of hard work we have Pixel Shaders and Vertex Shaders almost completely covered in HLSL. If HLSL doesn't work we can fall back on ASM and with the recent improvement by DarkStarSword you can now add inputs and outputs while in ASM mode making it even better. As one of the developers it has been a really interesting ride to follow all the improvements being made to 3D Migoto. One lucky thing is that Chiri never managed to crach either the assembler problem or the secret shader protection algorithm. This meant he needed to work around the problem. He developed the code that turns binary shaders into HLSL. This has been one of the major tasks of the project as at the beginning the HLSL decompiler crashed a lot and did not by far cover all the tiny variations that occurs in the assembler code. I think currently it is only bo3b who grasps the extreme complexity of the HLSL decompiler. Even after all these years of fixing it it still will not work 100% of the time. Bo3b has also done manual conversions to HLSL to work around bugs. In the end the assembler problem as well as cracking the secret algorithm had to be done to support all the new games that rely for instance on Compute Shaders. By combining Chiri's work with bo3b work and my work on the assembler we have a well working solution. DarkStarSwords contributions are massive you can just check out Far Cry 4 to see how far he's been able to push game fixing. We are kind of the three musketeers that has kept 3D Vision alive. Some people ask if 3D Vision is dead and the answer is clearly hell no as long as we have anything to say. I've been approached by bo3b to bring 3D Vision along with all tha game fixes over to VR. I agree with him that this is the next step. To even remotely be able to do this I need a VR headset and those are not exactly cheap. It is the cost of doing business. My current goal regarding donations is to save up to buy a VR headset. People should know what they are donating to and how that helps the community as a whole. It's the same as donating to our common wallet to buy shared games.

I've quite imune to harassment, given my autism I have been dealing with the problem since I was born. But just because everybody here hides behind the anonymity of internet as on all forums there can obviously be misunderstanding. My brain does not process irony and I talk very direct and literally without any intention of offending anyone. I have to live with that people are mean to mentally handicapped people but it really gets worse online. When people are mean for no reason you just wish there was fewer narrowminded people out there. I don't under stand why you are mean to to me when I have fixed many games for this community. It doesn't make any sense. I provide free fixes to games and you are mean in return. I like you and I produced some pretty great 3D fixes. You might not like my attitude because I don't like your attitude, As a 3D Migoto developer I really don' understand the hate. I thought you liked 3DMigoto. This is really confusing for me. I have worked on 3D Migoto for 2 years and this is how you thank me?

You ask what I want like if I could fix a game on request. The problem is that it's not that simple. The 3D Vision shader fixers work as team. Each player have different roles. I'm laying the low level foundation that has enabled 10 games + 1 upcomming game to be fixed. I'm not a shaderfixer and I don't want to be confused as one. Very few people can do what I have done. I'm a hardware engineer. You might not understand but being experienced in reverse engineering and various assembler languages allowed me to create the ASM pipeline that has been used since the Crysis 3 release. It was not needded for 3D Migoto but the ASM pipeline was created before 3D Migoto went open source and my wrapper has relied on i from the beginning. I attacked the problem early as I knew it needed to be solved. If you go back and read the exchange between Chiri and HeliX. HeliX was boasting how much more he had done compared to Chiri. You should really read it as it's quite interesting comparing the HeliX DX11 wrapper to 3DMigoto. My wrapper is mostly similar to HeliX. As both HeliX and Chiri left the scene and Chiri's wrapper had serious limitations you would not have what you have now without me. The best of two worlds.
