I don't recall any outdoor area where my GPU usage wasn't at least in the 70%+ range. The indoor areas like the tavern I am lucky to get GPU utilization in the 20%+ range. I'm not saying the game couldn't use better overall optimization, it's just that those certain indoor areas have a crippling bug that affects the performance.

Still getting 'Out of Memory' error in Alpha Protocol when 3D vision is enabled with the new drivers.
No 3D in this game with the last 2 drivers, works fine with the 270.61 set

Another general release, another glaring omission. I wonder how many Samsung people have purchased 3DTV Play based on the promise of native resolution CB mode?

Finally I had some time to install The Witcher 2 and play this game in 3D. Like almost everybody here I have the huge frame drops at the indoor locations. For the rest the game is really good in 3D.
Unfortunately I have incredibly long loading times. Since I'm in act 1 I have load times of about 8 minutes!
I'm running it on a core I7, GTX460, 4GB, W7 64 bit. I have defragmented my hard disk to be sure. I also use the latest game patch and 275.33 drivers.
I read that there are some loading issues with the latest 275.33 drivers in certain games but Witcher 2 is not mentioned to have these problems.
Is there anybody else having the same issue? I would appreciate some help or ideas.
Just patched the game to 1.2 but it doesn't seem to help. Game is already loading for 12 minutes and still loading...

Wow thats insane for load times. I don't think any load time of mine is more then maybe 15 seconds MAX usually just about 8-10 seconds. 8 - 12 minutes is not normal if you ask me.

Crazy loading times but I doubt it has anything to do with video drivers. You already defragged (and it's hardly needed in Win7 anyway). You could be having some other hard drive issues or it could be that your virus scanner is going crazy. You might try asking in some forums dedicated to Witcher 2. Oh, and you might do a complete check disk tonight, too.

Thanks, will run the check disk just to be sure.
I have send a request to CDproject for help. I agree with you that it probably has nothing to do with the drivers. I'm running the free Panda cloud virus scanner and switch it of before gaming. Loading times are getting worser and now at about 30 minutes!
I would hate to run a new install of W7 and the game since the PC is running fine with all other applications and games.

Why is everybody on this thread only talking about the Witcher? All i want to know is if the sync issue that made the last updates useless, has disappeared. Anyone having trouble with Powerdvd or TMT playing 3d blu-rays or sbs-rips?

Since no one from NVidia seems to read the bugs posted in the Surround forum, posting here.
This driver is still broken for 3D Vision surround, my left monitor is out of sync with the other two.
When I first installed the driver it was fine, boot up today having not touched my computer all week and it's out of sync for every 3D title.
275 beta driver did the same thing. No idea what triggers the change in behavior.
Even doing a clean install of the drivers after it started did not resolve the issue.
The 270.xx drivers do not have this issue

Folks some questions you may be able to claify for me. With the new 275 driver branch 3d drivers have been dodgy. I know the Witcher has major 3d issues with indoors. Anyways there is still no differance if i enable/disable 3d within Witcher but also with all my other games also. I am playing Gothic 3 (waiting on the Witcher fix) but my FPS is the same weather 3d or 2d. I thought that issue was supposed to be fixed the the 275.323 release? Any thoughts
Oh and check ouy my sig if it works, 1st time doing one

Andrew, have you been able to test this indoor performance issue in Witcher 2 yet?
With no official forums up and the announcement of them working on the Xbox 360 version, I fear the devs may not even be aware of this issue let alone work on it.

I'm sorry to say it but these drivers are garbage. Civ 5 is no longer playable. It crashes or hangs the system immediately upon starting any game now with these drivers. Battlefield Bad Company 2 flickers so bad that it is also unplayable. And it doesn't fix any of the problems with Witcher 2 either. :(

Something else is wrong with your system - Civ 5 works just fine. You might want to uninstall the drivers and try again with a clean install. Make sure you download the drivers from your computer/video card manufacturer or NVIDIA's website.
