Perhaps it's just unclear, or maybe I'm the stupid one...
Anyway, will GTX680 be able to send checkerboard to my TV via either HDMI, or DVI to HDMI adapter? Thanks!
BTW, interested in playing BF3, Skyrim, Witcher 2, NFS and other driving games, and Bioshock (need to finish it), if that helps. I'll look at other threads for game recommendations if I get this working.

I have the same TV (61"). You will need the 3D Vision kit and a DVI to HDMI cable to get Checkerboard 1080p. Works great and looks beautiful. Side note, make sure you don't set your TV to the second 3D option, it messes up all the colors when you switch back and you'll have to turn everything off and back on again. Side note 2: Nvidia's setup for "Generic DLP" is still messed up. Just choose the red/blue option and cheat through the test. Afterwards, go to the 3D option in the control panel and change it to DLP. It will stay that way until you update the driver again.
BF3 is just ok in 3d
Skyrim is amazing thanks to Helix
Witcher 2 is amazing
NFS is bad but Dirt 3 is great
Bioshock is bad

Awesome, thanks. Dirt 3 was another one on my list. This is a big help, they sure don't make it easy to research beforehand. It's like they don't want customers.

Oh, quick question if you don't mind. What type of performance hit do you see between 2D and 3D checkerboard on any of those games? GTX680 sufficient considering the max resolution of our TVs?

Typically half, but has been known to fluctuate for better or worse. it really depends on the Nvidia profile and what graphics your willing to sacrifice. I use 2 GTX470's and can run Witcher 2 minus uber sampling between 40-50fps. If you have any questions about setup or how to use, feel free to PM me. If you are new to 3D on the PC, be ready for some headaches. The payoff is WELL WORTH IT!!! Check out Kingdoms of Amular (i think I spelled that right).
I don't know the specs of the 680 so I cannot comment. Typically, if you can do 2 (3 way is not supported in 3D), you are future proofing.
