Also, don't forget that the 22" Samsung monitor that comes in the 3D Vision bundle is a great stand-alone monitor as well. When running at 120Hz, everything is as smooth as butter.

I would ditch a 37 inch Westinghouse for the 22 inch Samsung anyway. Westinghouse is junk, Samsung is top of the line.

just so as you know, i would rather have a 30 inch 3D monitor than this 22inch, it looks to me like interest died in 3D already, so i can pretty much NOT expect a larger monitor to be developed for this, cripes, why didnt they make a 30 inch monitor? totally sux
after my daughter comes comes for a visit next month, i will show her this, when she leaves, i WILL DISMANTLE this setup and go back to my 30inch monitor, once you game on a nice big screen, this 22inch is way to small for me.............

I don't think interest is dying at all. The first big name title is coming out that takes advantage of 3d really well and I am sure that will garner some interest. This stuff is just getting started. Once it gets down in price and 120hz LCDs become the standard it will explode for sure.

So... have you played with it yet? What did you play? Did you enable convergence settings and mess with those? Come on man.... details.

Interest hasn't died in it at all. You yourself have stated the problem quite precisely in your own statement. What we have is a classic "chicken vs egg" conundrum: LCD makers won't mass-produce a larger 120Hz monitor until 3d Vision catches on to the mainstream, but 3d Vision won't catch on to the mainstream until LCD makers start mass-producing larger 120Hz monitors. See the problem?
Sooner or later 120Hz LCDs will become the norm and we'll see 24"+ LCDs all over the place. Once that happens, I predict 3d Vision will become as ubiquitous among gamers as the X-Fi.

It is bound to hit a critical mass of gamers and then explode. 9/10 people that try it seem to absolutely love it.

Well, I´m from Brazil and ordered the bundle because this forum lol.
And I have to say that every friend of mine that I show 3D Vision loves it and think it is a MAJOR improvement over a flat 3d game. Of course I show them a very good list of games of different styles like Prototype, Racer: grid, Call of Duty WaW, Soviet Assault, Resident Evil 5 Bench (for the overall sharpness) and of course, Left4dead. Some of them bother with ghosting but most don´t even notice it if I don´t tell them because the 3D effect has a wow factor that easily surpass many glitches, like ghosting. :)
