The mistake of my life
Well I had WindowsXp pro (32bit OS) working real nice with my new 64bit system but I had to mess with it. I downloaded a 64bit OS from Microsoft and it went in no problem...and that's all that went in no problem. So far...no sound..but what really ticks me off is that the 3D edimensional glasses that I use so much (especially in FS9 & LockOn) don't even show up in the video properties tab any more like they used to. I suspect my TrackIR pro and Saitek Flight Controller won't work either but I haven't tried them yet, that battle is next. This 64bit stuff looks really unsupported from my point of view and that ticks me off too. Being a Microsoft guinea pig for an OS I can't seem to even get support from them for is not my idea of a good time. Registered the thing and sent them an email over a week ago about my hardware fears and they didn't respond at all. There is no way I'll buy this thing. At least they had the decency to let me trial it for 120 days before it balks but at this lack of support it won't take that long to go back to the 32bit windows system. Has anyone had the edimensional 3D glasses working on "Windows XP Pro 64bit Edition"?
