Can I have a Dual DVI Samsung 2233RZ and a second monitor?
I want to buy a Samsung 2233RZ and Nvidia 3d Glasses and drive the samsung with the dual DVI output of my existing Geforce 8800GT. If I do this will I be able to install a second low cost graphics card and drive my existing 20" DVI display from the second card?

(I only want to play games on the 2233RZ, the second display is just for desktop use.)

Will the second video card cause any loss of performance in 3D games?

Will any DVI graphics card do, or will it have to be an nvidia one?

Thanks,

Luke

System: AMD X2 2.5GHz, 2GB RAM, Geforce 8800GT, DELL 20" DVI 60Hz monitor.

Dual Link does not mean you will have to use the two DVI connectors on your existing video card, you can connect a second display to the same video card and use the Extend Desktop mode to have something displayed on it while playing a game for instance... no need for a second card ;)

Yep its fine with just one card. I can have 3d running and a movie on the other screen at the same time just fine.

Ah, excellent! I hadn't realised that.

Thanks for the replies!
