Now that the official Launch Trailer has been released (and yes they heard the fans and finally used a very famous specific music-track" as background music) I can't hold back any longer!
Some of my "one eyed"-friends already play the PS4 version of the game so I guess now it's time to get pumped for this long awaited gem. Can't wait to see it in all its stereoscopic glory!

Dammit, my wallet is crying right now (just prepurchased the premium edition), but the story mode just looks way too epic and that theme song just pulled at my heart strings and pushed me over the top. At least got a nice discount through GMG using the promo code "MK11".
Fortunately the game is running off UE3 as well, so there's a reasonably good chance my MK10 fix will fix a lot of the same issues here, and whatever else needs to be fixed you can rest assured I'll be on the case day one (kinda sucks that it'll be on a monday, so my energy after a hard day of work might be lacking).
My biggest hope & dream is that they finally stop doing story mode cutscenes via prerendered video and rendered using the game engine, so we can enjoy it all in 3D, but sadly I doubt that will be the case. My biggest fear, though, is that they decide to implement EAC or some other BS anti-cheat that blocks 3DMigoto... I will probably have a mental breakdown if that ends up being the case.

I love the Mortal Kombat serie`s
Really awesome that it came back to the pc and we could enjoy them in glorious 3D.
To bad of the Denuvo :( Would be interesting if it`s gonna work in 3d.
Again thanks for the fix on Mortal Kombat X, DJ-RK!

Denuvo shouldn't be a problem to 3D, that's just additional DRM. Lots of games with Denuvo work in 3D and have been fixed via 3DMigoto.
Sad it didn't get a midnight release, another 17 hours to go.

Can konfirm, MKX fix does fix most graphical issues and puts it in a very playable state for the time being. HUD needs to be refixed, as well as autoconvergence, and a few less noticeable graphical issues. Will probably work on the HUD ASAP and then probably start playing through the story mode (for once getting to actually enjoy a game on release) rather than niggling around with stuff like specular reflections for today and then look at that sort of stuff later on in the week.

I'm glad to hear that a new game is coming out, but I have a question about one MK X fix. In my experience, the fix up to now seems to have a lot of deficiencies.

So here's an initial WIP. Most in game effects are fixed now (even ground reflections this time), except for volumetric lighting (need a bit more time for that). Have adjusted HUD elements to depth (disable HUD with F1, adjust HUD depth via F2) and have also added automatic convergence reduction on Fatal Blows and Fatalities (not sure about Krushing Blows yet since I haven't triggered any).

Edit: Make sure to disable Motion Blur and TAA in the games Graphics options menu.

Redownload it. The fix was broken for a long time but I updated it about a month or two ago.

First of all a thousand thanks to you DJ-RK for this already breathtaking WIP-fix!
Have a look @ your PayPal. I sent a little something your way......
There is a weird problem I am facing right now where the menu icons and the characters in-game appear very blurry. Before I installed the fix 3D didn't kick in at all and I had the same "blurry"-issue. Now with the fix 3D kicks in but the "blurry"-issue is still there.
While the blurry menu icons always stay the same I can get rid of the blurry characters in-game by manually fiddle with the convergence but a s soon as the convergence changes via auto-convergence the character-bluriness is back!
I'll add a few screenshots that very clearly show the issue. Maybe someone can help...

Oh yeah, forgot to mention: Disable Motion Blur in the graphics options. :) (or maybe it was TAA. I have both off)
Appreciate the donation. Helps offset the cost of the game which was a little frivolent of a purchase for me, but hey, you only live once! (until you have a FATALITY)

Bought this game but getting used to playing. a bit different that the previous ones. Trying to think if I will keep or return it. Anyone here playing it?

@DJ-RK
If I want to crank up the convergence preset for Fatals and Fatal Blows all I need to do is modify the value in this line, right!? (in d3dx.ini-file)
[PresetFatality]
convergence = 100
As you can see I already modified it but I am not a hundred percent sure that this is all that needs to be modified.....
That's exactly correct. Just be prepared to have your eyes severely crossed at times. A good example is Kabal's "Road Rash" Fatality, 20 is the highest convergence I can comfortably handle.
Just wish I could get DSS's true autoconvergence tool working, which actually dynamically adjusts convergence based on what's on the screen (rather than switching between static presets). Tried back with MKX and could not get it working there, so haven't tried here since it's guaranteed to give the same results here.
