Only problem is I still can't save convergence - hitting my "save 3d settings" key resets convergence. Depth saves fine though. Not a big issue to tweak convergence on launch, but a little annoying. It also pulls up the "This application is not rated" message every time.
I've done a complete driver reinstall.
Okay, I've got it working using the following method:
Change AllowNvidiaStereo3d= to True in C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\PapoYo\PYGame\Config
Extract DHR's PapoandYo3 fix.
Overwrite whatever I can with eqzitara's shaderoverride fix
Overwrite everything with the Replacethis fix (for water)
Seems to be 100% 3dvision ready so far, great work everyone!
Here's the frankenfix all put together.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/17425913/PYFix.rar
The two first step it's all you need.
Overwrite "replacethis" it's not necessary, because lua fix it via PS...puting some VS for same issues (fixed via PS) can produce others issues.
Overwrite "TEST/shaderoverride.zip" only add one PS (that exclude that file to been fixed via Lua script...i don't know what effect is that PS) AND VS (that's is related to boxes).
In my fix i include 1 PS that lua script dont fix, because the header of the shader change a little (miss a string that lua script search)...that PS i fixed manually with same logic that lua script.
How many file do you have in VertexShaders folder? (hope 1)
I dont know why this game and nvidia API don't work properly for you, but i suppose changing that value for "True" force Nvidia in this game.

great works everyone! thanks! another 3D surround ready title is born.
btw, prior to adding fix files, I don't need to do the ini edit. after dropping in the fix files, the menu texts disappear in 3D surround; have to enable Nvidia 3D to make the menu work properly.

Lua does not fix the water problem. I just tried without using replacethis, and the water was still broken.
Before I add replacethis, I have one file in vertexshaders. After I have 10, and water works.
As teardrop has discovered, the ini file change is not required before the fix - but the fix breaks the menus unless that value is set to true. Testing shows it works like this:
Fix + False = Broken Menus
Fix + True = Working Menus
No Fix + False = Working Menus
No Fix + True = Broken Menus
Doesn't matter if it's true or false though, I still can't save convergence.

@teardropmina, you now are using "PapoandYouv3" fix only?
I think for some reason Nvidia API + helix DLL in some rigs (maybe is windows version, others HW drivers related..really don't know) dont kick in properly...so is necessary to change the True value in the ini file. I also don't need to change the ini file and all works perfect.
This is a great game with some amazing soundtrack, so it's a good news this game is now 3D vision Ready title...sorry i mean "Helix Ready" (all fixing code is thanks to helix)

@Pirateguybrush
The hidden menu is due the VS for boxes (5CF48237.txt)....remove that VS and you dont need to change any value in the ini.
The water is strange, because for me the lua script fix 100% waters...Only have to fix 1 PS manually (not water related) because lua script dont "detect" that shader (some name in header change a string). I test all chapters yesterday where i remember seeing issues and all are fixed.
i repeat, i dont know why this game (maybe others) works strange with Nvidia API + helix DLL. Personally i don't have any issue related, like always....i think Nvidia API + helix DLL in some rigs (i don't not the variables) don't kick in properly.

Funny you should mention that. I'm a big fan of game soundtracks, I listen to any one of the Silent Hill soundtracks on a daily basis. A few of my other favorites are American McGee's Alice (no sure if that's an official one or not), Quake 1 & 2 (audio tracks off the disc), just about every Castlevania, Metroid Prime (not sure on that one either), and Actraiser (SNES). Thanks, I'll definitely check it out.

Not to manny people are interested in game soundtracks, great that you like games OST (the good ones of course)....good to know! i also a big fan of it, in my youth i study music and learn to play about 6 instrument (trumpet, violin, percussion, bass, piano and others) and play in an orchestra, so i always pay a lot of attention to OST (also in movies).
I have a lot of game soundtrack in the pendrive i have in my car (listen when i go to work).... Far Cry 3 also have a fantastic OST (track 1, track 2, track 6 and track 17 are my favorites). Yeah...alice have also a nice OST.
Cheers!

Just checked the version up on Helix's site - water is NOT fixed with that one for me. With the version I put together (I put a dropbox link a few posts ago) it's 100% working.

if you have all waters wrong, try first to load the game without the DLL and then with the fix (maybe something got stuck). I double check this game a week ago and i have all waters fixed.
if you have an issue in one particular place with water, tell me where so i can go there, found the shader and fix it through Pixelshader (is not recommended to use Vertexshader, may cause others issues).

Act II, scene 3 is where I'm testing. I've tried loading without the DLL, and with it - it's broken on both. I can tell the DLL is working though, because other effects are fixed.

Thanks!...i will check today that part...it's a chance that one shader was not fixed with lua script, happens with one other shader that i have to manually fix in this game. This happens when change a name in the header of the shader, then the lua script don't match the sentence and skip that shader.
