Can we get a convergence bar that tells you what value it's set at? Like the depth bar. Converge

Would it be possible to get a status bar that tells you the convergence setting similar to that of the depth bar?

I think this would be a good idea as once I managed to get the convergeance setting 'stuck' in Need for Speed Shift. Basically I was playing around with it and it just seemed to freeze in one position. What I didnt realize was that even when it reaches its limited the value seems to keep going (even though nothing is actually happening to convergeance on screen). So if you hold CTRL F6 for 5 secs after it goes past the lowest setting it will take you 5 secs of holing CTRL F5 to get it back to 'zero'. It took me a long time to figure this out, I even tried deleting the F7 settings file but it didnt fix the problem. Eventually I figured it out and managed to sort it.

This is a good idea and we will investigate it.

Appreciate it :)

Please also consider a 3D mouse cursor in addition to the already added 3D crosshair. Then NVIDIA 3d vision will be a "complete solution".

Convergence does not work the way depth does, so having a graphic bar like for the depth or with some numbers is pretty much pointless...

What we need is an overlayed visual indicator in the form of an "X" that can help in quickly getting an idea of where is the current convergence point on the screen and changing it as you need. This will make it much more easier than looking a the screen to visually figure out where is the point that the left and right view merge ie the convergence point. And as a result is should also be easier to quickly figure out what should be going deeper on the screen and what jumping out of it /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Dig the idea, but I bet that'd be PRETTY HARD to implement, to say the least... considering there's games that need work-arounds to disable the in-game crosshair, IMAGINE what'd be needed to disable an in-game mouse, haha... but definitely think that's a killer idea!

Anyways, I wanted to say I'm also in favor of the convergence meter..

And gonna throw it out there, if there was some way to save / load presets... I'm just thinking how many games I've played where "the action" has the camera panned out far, and dialogue scenes up close... might be nice to hit a button and have it jump to a second saveable/changeable convergence setting... just throwin' it out there...

i always wonder about this myself too. unlike the depth bar that can be seen as 1%-100%, it could work as a benchmark or starting point allowing you to see if you are increasing or decreasing it from your start point and by how much.
