Anyone know where to find a LG 55C6P or 55E6P at a decent price?
I've searched the web for these TVs but they are hard to come by. Most of them hover at 2K or more. Does anyone know a decent place to find one of these? They seem to be the best displays that support 3D vision.

Gigabyte Gaming 5 Z170X, i7-6700K @ 4.4ghz, Asus GTX 2080 ti Strix OC , 16gb DDR4 Corsair Vengence 2666, LG 60uh8500 and 49ub8500 passive 4K 3D EDID, Dell S2716DG.
Old models aren't dropping anymore to the point they will only increase in value. Not to mention ALOT of those ones you see listed for $2000+ aren't actually in stock anymore. They listed it on amazon/ebay/whatever year(s) ago for insane $ and everyone else either sold or took theres down. Then forgot about it despite selling it in their mom+pops store. TBH, I doubt anyone has one thats unused.
Need to search ebay/craigslist. I don't know if I recommend OLED especially older model with gaming due to burn in though.
Some people might say its a pipedream or whatever but..
2019 is Avatar 2 while I don't have faith in the movie. James Cameron is kind of the pioneer of forcing tech to leap forward and is resposible for the first resurgence of 3D in home/theaters. I guess that might be too much of a wait but combined with HDMI 2.1 and projectors are dipping constantly in price and they are more likely to support its worth it imo.

In UK I was able to find only used/refurbished with only 1y warranty but for price around £1700.
So I gave up and ordered 58" Panasonic TX58EX750B LED Active 3D.
This is my first ever 3D TV and I have it just for 2 days, but noticed immediately the large amount of ghosting (compared to my 27" lightboost Asus) and some horisontal tearing simmilar to turned off vsync.
I have yet to try different picture settings in order to reduce the ghosting if at all, but have no idea what could cause the tearing (perhaps ralated to refresh rate???).
I was not able to EDID override it for some reason (I know EDIDs for pasive TV wont work), however when I duplicate my main screen and output side-by-side it does 3D just fine in Full HD.
I suppose it is not the best tech being LED Active 3D TV, but at least I can enjoy films (where the ghosting is not very noticeble) and play some flat PC/Console games on a large screen.

I was in same situation 3 months ago when it suddenly struck me, it was my last chance to upgrade my tv if I wanted to keep going with 3D (I had only just recently gotten hooked on 3D gaming, wish I found this community years ago!).
my current sony passive 4k 3dtv was fine, but it did not have HDR and what if something happened to it? So I figured I would keep it as my backup 3dtv in another room and go big with a LG 65E6. to my surprise, they were even pricier than the new models! after tracking for a while and realizing the prices were going up and not down, I pulled the trigger - kind of the craziest purchase I ever made...but don't regret it for a second. My sony only accepted 1080 signal for 3D (edid hack worked but ghosting was much worse). My E6 can do 1440 or even 4k 3D if the game is not too demanding, and the extra screen size REALLY helps immerse you in the 3D.
Be careful, if the price looks to good to be true it is probably a scam site. I got mine from Walts tv (authorized LG dealer) and they had some 55E6's but I think they may be all gone now. The Cleveland AV store that is mentioned a lot on AVS forums also had some in stock and are trustworthy, but they actually tried to talk me out of buying one because "3D is dying, and the prices are ridiculous just for 3D". There was also one other legit place I found them, but can't remember now, some place in Florida. Every place in NY/NJ was a scam haha.
I would not recommend buying OLED tv used though, because you have no idea what the users were watching and for how many hours. Burn in is real, and it is not consecutive but cumulative. So if you watch tons of hours of cable news with the tickers, you may eventually get burn in as it adds up over time. You just have to be smart about it. anyways, good luck in your search...crazy prices, but you can't put a price tag on how amazing some of these games are in true S3D!

Thanks everyone. Seems a near impossible task at this point without considerably overpaying. If I can strike gold, then great. If not, I'll just be happy with what I have. I keep on thinking I should just go with an OLED that lacks 3D, then I play a 3D game again. I really wish good 3D gaming was easier for the masses to acquire. I think things may have been different if 3D popularity lined up with the PS$ Pro and Xbox one X's release, so consoles would have had a chance the power push a decent 3D experience.

It's worth to keep an eye on the main retailers.
I got my 65e6 in oct as I saw that they were on sale (c6 and e6), but during this time a lot of stores received fresh stocks from somewhere (probably stock transfer from other countries).
In my opinion it is by far the best 3D experience you can have at the moment.
