Good to know, thanks for sharing that answer. Also thanks very much for giving 3Dmigoto a try for this fix, that helps me to make the tool better.

Thank you, entrhalled. Your solution also works on the BenQ MW519. Both BioShock Infinite and Batman Arkham Origins run flawlessly now in 3D at 1280x720@60hz.

Note changing EDIDs might add/remove resolutions/hz that aren't supported with your projector. Also better keep backup of original EDID (I read that uninstalling driver from windows device manager restores original EDID, I haven't tried it though).

There are no problems with unsupported resolutions. However, all 120hz resolutions have been removed from the NV CP (I believe that is why the EDID works with BI and Batman AO - it "fools" the games into thinking the highest refresh rate available is 60hz, so they cannot go higher. Therefore, 3D Vision is enabled via HDMI in 720p). I have also kept the original driver, just in case. But for now everything is just fine. Again, thank you.

Hello good people. I too am having the problems outlined by the OP fellow, but unfortunately, the edid solution is not working. I have a BenQ projector and I am using the Nvidia 3dtv 14day demo. So far, I have got a few games to run and I am very impressed. But alas, the 120hz problem still remains. I am using Windows 8.1 and when I attempt to update the pnp monitor driver, Windows informs me that the driver is not certificated and that a problem has occurred - I am not given anymore options and the standard driver remains in situation. I am also using the new Nvdia beta drivers too that Helix and co objects too - could that be an issue too? Without being antagonistic, should I go with a Radion card? It appears that I maybe on the wrong side. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Edit...... Hello again, 4 hours later. It seems I found the cause of the problem and that is 64 bit Windows does not even allow the loading of unsigned drivers at all. So I hunted around to find a possible solution and come across this page regarding Windows 8.1 ... http://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-to-disable-driver-signature-verification-on-64-bit-windows-8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/ I followed these very clear and well written instructions and attempted once more to install an EDID over ride to replace my standard PnP monitor driver - and it worked!!! Hopes this helps any newbies like me who are trying to get their head around this S3D marlarky.

I uploaded my EDID for Acer H5360BD through Pioneer VSX-821, which I use for my W1070. If you need an override but also have an HDMI receiver in the chain for surround sound, give it a try. http://3dvision-blog.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2026

I am having these problems. I will try some of the fixes when I get home, but it seems like the Benq projectors have a lot of issues. Can anyone recommend a better projector than the Benq w1080st for 3D gaming? I didn't know any projectors would work with 3D vision, I thought they needed 3D TV Play. If there's a better similarly priced projector I'd rather get that one. I still have a week left to return the Benq to Amazon if I don't like it.

Here's the list of obsolete projectors that support 3D Vision directly: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-displays.html Mostly these are hard to find, and no new ones have been certified that I can tell. I think they are moving everything to 3D TV Play. At present 3D TV Play should work OK, but I'd go with a 720p projector so that you get native resolution with no scaling at game play 720p@60Hz. A 1080p projector sounds better on paper, but the downscaling to non-native is less than ideal. If 3D Gaming is paramount. If 3D movies are paramount, 1080p is better. If you can find one, I can vouch for H5360 as nearly ideal with current limitations of software. You can sometimes find them used or refurbished. I seem to recall that eqzitara runs an Optoma HD66 and highly regards it.

i have the same problem with a Benq w1070 but i cannot update the drivers to make a EDID override (as suggested by enthralled above ) ,because the .inf file (put in a folder in C:) is invisible when i try to find it in the folder when windows (7 64bits) asked , and Windows says : "Windows a déterminé que le pilote de votre périphérique est à jour" in french . Anyone can help me ? EDIT: i found the solution ... i think :)

this is confirmed, it works!!! Thank you Enthralled ! I can play with "Just Cause 2", "Batman AC," "Bioshock infinite" etc ... All my problems are solved for now, and I can say , serenely, that the 3D vision with a projector is one of the most amazing experience of my life . I don't understand why this technology is not more widespread among the players.

Make sure you enable the hot keys and adjust convergence http://3dvision-blog.com/111-changing-the-convergence-level-in-3d-vision/ Also make sure you use the community games fixes http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html
