Don't get me wrong I'd play it if I could but my problem isnt that you notice anything is off. My problem is that you might not.
If I mod a game I write what I disable. There is an exception, Distortion. In a few games distortion cant be disabled in options and I cant fix it. Distortion is what it sounds like, in most cases its either like water ripple on a reflection or immense heat altering an image(like lava). There are all kinds of little effects that's just like it. God rays, lens flares, distortion, post processing, etc. Disable one and doesn't really diminish game. Disable alot and well you might start wondering why developer didn't put much work into the game.

yeah, I gather what eqzitara is saying is that Tridef profile would just disable certain effect if it cannot be fixed or rendered correctly. thus, when you're playing with Tridef, you have no idea what effects they've disabled. unlike in 3D vision, all the issues and problems present themselves in front of us.
anyway, I had the chance to play the Tridef version @720p (projector, onto 80" screen). it's only ok due to the 1280x720 resolution. after playing it in 2D surround (6100x1080), it's kinda difficult to ignore the low image quality (all the sweetFX magic doesn't help that much.) Tomb Raider 2013 still provides the best 720p 3D image quality for me personally.
don't have chance to play it @1080p 3D or eyefinity 3D, maybe those will be really awesome.

Having played a fair bit now (and occasionally in 2d), I've not noticed anything missing from the 3d version other than horizontal resolution (thanks to sbs mode)

@birthright, Thanks!! and yes, this game in 3D it's amazing and story, like you says, mindblowing. For about 5 days after i finish the game i'm still kept thinking about it. Hope they can fix shadows.
For the Bioshock Infinite profile i modified, anything it's disable.....dynamics shadows have to be disable in the .ini for obvious reasons ....but that's it.
Tridef normally (98% of cases) dont disable anyhing, and if anything it's disable they put it in the comments over the forum. The Logic of Tridef works identifying groups of shaders and apply fixes (on the fly).
Group of shaders 1 --> fix 1 or fix 2 or fix 3....... or none
Group of shaders 2 --> fix 1 or fix 3 or fix 3....... or none
.
.
Group of shaders n --> fix 1 or fix 3 or fix 3....... or none
For this game if they can separate the 2 different source of shadows (of the total of shaders related to dynamics shadows) the will probably fix shadows. Right now the profile uses the same algorithm to fix the entire group of dynamics shadows, so if you fix one group of shadows, others broke and vice versa (i try it and see it, that's why they need a new version of Ignition -Beta). It's similar to helix's Lua script, for example in the Lua file of Dishonored there are like 14 variables (with this variables you identify the group of shaders) and 4 or 5 fixes depending of variables (only to fix lights and shadows). It's really impressive, similar logic (small scale) in a 600kb debugger + 15 kb lua file.

Hi, new tridef beta drivers are out with BI fix, apparently both shadows and texture bug are working a lot better now, check http://www.tridef.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3664
All hail 3d modders DHR, MasterOtaku, Losti, Necropants, Helifax, bo3b, mike_ar69, Flugan, DarkStarSword, 4everAwake, 3d4dd and so many more helping to keep the 3d dream alive, find their 3d fixes at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ Also check my site for spanish VR and mobile gaming news: www.gamermovil.com
After some ini tweaks, I never got the texture bug - but it's good to hear it's improved. I've passed it now though.
I'd love to see them fix AC3 - that game is crashtown using power3d, and lag city without it.
Well I gave it a try with unmodified inis and it works surprisingly well, mostly that now dynamic shadows are working really well so you can keep them on. Overall I would rate it "very good", it still has issues with water mostly and still a few minor lightning issues that prevent it to be perfect in 3d, but it has improved a lot, at least as far as I've seen in the beginning of the game, it's refreshing to see devs working hard to fix 3d for a change.
However there's a big issue now, freezes and slowdowns are back, I'll try my old ini files that got rid of the freezes before to see if they still work without breaking the 3d improvements.

Well you also have AC3 and a few more not playable on 3d vision like RE6 or the latest Hitman, check their list here: http://www.tridef.com/user-guide/supported-games. Also Battlefield 3 support on real 3d is big not only for the game, but also since every game from EA in the coming years will use Frostbyte, so Dragon Age 3, the new star wars games, Mass Effect games etc have a better chance to work on real 3d with tridef.
BTW would this work too? http://www.3d-vip.com/#!3d-gamer/ce0a
On side note, yesterday I tried Lord of the Rings Online with tridef and indeed they fixed the sky at wrong depth issue, so the game is very playable now in 3d although your character is surrounded by some kind of weird transparent halo, still it looks very good, sky at wrong depth made the game unplayable on 3d vision for me.0a

The halo is usually an indicator that power 3D is on which I believe is tridef version of "fake 3D". Having said that, it can work quite well with some titles.
