In case that could help..

My setup is this:

Panasonic 50 inch 3D HDTV, 2 GTX 470 in SLI, 3D Vision kit, Graphic driver 260, 3D vision driver 260.

I readjusted the screen in my HDTV settings so all the frame is showing and all my games are at 720P resolution.

So far all my games works very well in 3D and no matter if we cannot get 1080P, it is still better than the PS3 because of better antialiasing and so on...

I am very pleased with it so far beside having some ghosting problems. The 3D effect is awesome and really pull me in the game. You must use the 3D HDTV glasses not the one for 3D Vision.

Hope it can answer some questions you might have.

Not really man, I have a 3D Vision kit and I also have a Samsung Plasma 3DTV (PN63C8000 US) and I can't play games in 3D using 3DTV Play software.

I have no idea how some folks are able to enable 3DTV Play at the moment. I could understand if it would only work at first with Panasonic 3DTV's, since Nvidia and Panasonic are partners for this matter, but I read here in this thread about Samsung LED 3DTV's owners who were also able to try out 3DTV Play. I don't know why it doesn't work with the Sammy 3D plasmas, as it's also Samsung, it should work for both types of TV's, LED and Plasma.

I don't see the 3DTV Play logo, just HDMI 1.4 bluray 3D. I can go through the Wizard Setup and see the Nvidia logo flying arround, all in 3D. No problem there, but if I set my TV's resolution to 3D 720p and also the game's resolution to 1280 x 720, the TV will go into 3D mode and glasses will sync, but the game will be displayed in 2D.
I've tried all inputs on my GTX 480, both DVI's and the mini HDMI. I have even tried to just connect the TV to the PC, without using my 120hz display, using the primary DVI slot, but no success either.

I guess I can't cry to anybody, cause Nvidia will say to me that those beta drivers don't enable 3DTV Play and that I should wait for the oficial release of 3DTV Play and that they don't understand why it's working for a few lucky 3D Vision + 3DTV users.

What does Q4 2010 means??? October, November???? Where is this release date info about 3DTV Play??

I indeed have 3DTV Play working fine on my 55" Series 7 Samsung LED TV. I did have some troubles getting it up and running though. The trick I found to make it work was to unplug everything but the TV from the card and install the drivers then. It never worked when my 30" Dell was connected, even if I had disabled it from the driver. Mind you, now that the drivers are installed and working, I can switch between them no problems. But I digress. You can try to install the drivers from scratch this way but the thing I find confusing is that you get the 3D Vision logo up and running fine, just your games don't work. I can only think that there's something in the way these beta drivers talk to 3D TV's that your plasma doesn't like. But then why does it show the 3D logo OK?? So bizarre.

About my post saying that I can play 3D games on my Panasonic....

Here is what I did:

- I unpluged my 3D vision emitter
- I removed every drivers that had anything to do with Nvidia including graphic drivers, 3D vision drivers, phyx x, 3D player etc... (Even if some of these actions where not necessary)
- I installed the 260 graphic drivers while making a checkmark in what I beleive to be a "clean install" to make sure the driver will completely remove everything that was there before installing itself.
- I installed the 260 3D vision drivers and plugged my emitter during the process.

During the installation it made me do the same test with the left and right eye and everything was exacly like the process on my ACER 3D monitor and all was good. Then I tried all my games and had to lower the resolution to 1280 x 720 and BOOM.

You need the 3D vision emitter with your 3D TV glasses for it to work.

It really does work and I dont understand why Nvidia would deny it since I even have the 3D Play logo in the control panel.
Also if you go the the Nvidia site and look under "FAQ" , look under the post no 2576 "How do I get 3DTV play?", here is a part of the answer..

"3DTV Play will be available to download in three ways:

- Free Update for 3D Vision owners
o 3D Vision glasses owners can download Release 260 or higher drivers to enable use NVIDIA 3DTV Play software as a free upgrade to play their 3D content on 3D TVs."
-
Isn't that a proof that it should work, coming from them?

I dont think it is because you have a Samsung 3DTV since some people reported that it does work.
About my post saying that I can play 3D games on my Panasonic....
So bizarre.
It's not bizarre at all. According to Nvidia, the Wizard setup and Nvidia logo are supose to work in 3D with this new Beta drivers. When I finish the Wizard setup process on my TV, it just says, now enjoy 3D movies on your 3DTV. Upgrade to 3DTV, so you can enjoy playing games in your 3DTV.
So, it says upgrade, I guess it's not allowing me to use 3DTV Play software just yet.
So, every user that was no able to try out 3DTV Play and that has also installed this new beta drivers, are all able to go thorugh the Wizard setup and see the Nvidia logo in 3D in the Nvidia control panel, so there's nothing weird there.

I can't enable 3DTV Play, Its strange Nvidia saying that 3DTV Play should work with these drivers, cause Manuel from Nvidia said in his thread about these new beta drivers, that 3DTV Play isn't oficially released and that it shoudn't work with these beta drivers. I have no idea why it works for you guys, for me it doesn't.

No matter, if I try DVI, mini HDMI, it won't work. But anyway it should work with the mini-HDMI input, not just DVI.

Guess, I'll have to wait for the final software. I won't reinstall those drivers again, I'm tired of this tweaking that don't take me anywhere.

The 260.63 drivers claim to enable HDMI 1.4 bluray 3D and I can see this in the Nvidia control Panel, and it doesn't say anything about 3DTV Play in it's official thread, so I guess there's nothing wrong with my installation process, like I said you guys were lucky getting 3DTV Play to work on your TV. I just would like to find someone who also has a Samsung 3D Plasma C7000 or C8000 and that was able to make 3DTV Play to work.

Cheers...

Still waiting for this Andrew dude to answer my question about using 8800 GT and release date. Sorry to call him out like this but he said he would respond by now. Is he a waffler or something? I cant stand people/companies that fail to deliver on a promise. Makes them untrustworthy. Just my thoughts.
