In my option, 2-Way SLI is the sweet spot, 3-Way is tricky and 4-Way simply awful.

Just had a session with the compatibility mode. Im actually quite impressed, i seem to be able to crank the depth much further than before. I havent used CM in a while but i dont recall having this much depth in an earlier drivers. Not sure how the depth looks on regural screen, but i can get same or stronger depth than the real deal on my projector. Obviously still doesnt look as good as real 3d, but never the less im impressed. Still dont like the limited convergence range. Almost alway crank it up too much and close up objects become flat. Its pain to find perfect convergence settings with cm. I really think convergence should be unlocked completely.
+1 The game was released about 6 months early, expect it to be all patched up and running at 60FPS graphically maxed with 980 SLI in about 6 months!
I have no reason to expect that. They never fixed up AC3 and Watch Dogs properly.

But seriously though, people can't even maintain 45 FPS with Titan SLI at 1080p? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxGBi0PHiz8 I can't imagine what 3D would do to the performance....expect 20 FPS in 3D with 780 Ti SLI, Titan SLI or 980 SLI?
Yeah, I made it clear as soon as this game was released that with my 2x TITAN Z's I am not pumpn out any better than this guy and thats with a massive o/c on my CPU.
One Titan Z works and is seen by the system as a single GPU correct? I wonder what the issue could be.
No, common misperception. Any Dual GPU card runs as SLI in software, it just takes up a single slot in the hardware. You have to enable SLI in the control panel. For AC:Unity, like I often recommend, don't be in a rush. It seems pretty clear that this was a rush job to hit the annual festival of overconsumption, and they just pushed it out. Seems like they got most of the serious crashing bugs fixed, but if I spent $60 on this sucker, I'd feel like a sucker. For the 3D side, it's hard to say without looking, but it is pretty clear that it's WatchDogs caliber poor performance all over again. SLI still does not work properly in WatchDogs, I would suggest the same may happen here. It should be fun and beautiful, and I love having co-op games so I'll personally take a look in 6 months if no one else has. But no way is it worth your time right now, unless you just want to experiment. Metacritic end users are giving it 4.2/10. And this isn't a smear campaign, that's mostly legit. Might fall off the wayside pretty quick if that holds up. Like TitanFall. We were all excited to get a 3D fix for it, but it didn't happen because the tools weren't ready. If someone had made a fix for it, it would have been a waste of their time. If you are a fixer, this is one reason it's good to make sure that you personally are interested in the game, it might be a dead end.

Every time a Ubisoft pc game gets released it takes 9 to 12 months to work out the bugs. Yet I know this but I keep purchasing Ubisoft pc games and paying close to retail price at release date and a year later almost all the bugs are worked out and all the dlc is included for 1/3 of the price. Shame on me. Alien Isolation was AMD sponsored pc game works right out of the box.

Ubisoft don't care even a little bit. They can barely get the game to run on many systems, they're not going to spend money adding features.
