The Fuji 3D cameras are still not available - they are to be released in September. You can easily build yourself a 3D movie shooting system by combining two normal digital cameras/camcorders... of course this will require you to adjust and combine the two separate video feeds afterwards so it will require some knowledge on the video editing side. But hey you want to shoot 3D movies right, you should have some idea of that, right? ;)

When it comes out, that would probably be a decent way to do it. Until then, Sony cameras with a synchronizer is probably your best bet. Check out:

If you want to shoot stills, some software called "stereo data maker" is just great for twin canon powershot cameras. This is what I use. You can do video with this setup, but the synchronization will not be good.

I'm thinking Project Natal for the xBox will do the trick Microsoft's Project Natal roots revealed: 3DV Systems ZCam Does anyone know if this will work? I know it's not out yet.

I am filming with 2 Sony CX12E synchonized with a special AV Controler.
Clips are amazing! Software is Stereoscopic Player. Its very simple. You only have to load left and right video and hit the play button.
Uncompressed 1920x1080i on HL61A750 TV looks like seeing through an window. There aren´t any anomalies, like ghosting or uncrispy picture.

Stereoscopic Player is a fine software, it works with almost if not all stereo3d types.

Its absolutly not comparable to watching 3d DVDs or compressed 720 videos. Full HD is making a huge difference.

Of course you need a fast computer if you want to play 2 full hd movies at the same time, but with a "4 cores cpu" its not a problem anymore.

Can i simply use a film slate to synchronize 2 cameras? I mean I will do some editing after, while editing film i can use the slate as cut reference .

I do that because I haven't got a sync device for my camcorders unfortunately.
