Hi there, I just figured that the color and contrast are much better in RGB mode unlimited than YCbCr444 mode on my 49PUS7100 Philips Tv! Problem is with the edid overide I made, I have laggy mouse in RGB mode so I have to use the YCbCr444 mode instead. Could somebody be kind enough to make an override with my original monitor.inf to see if I could have a good RGB mode? see my original monitor inf below, just replace the jps extension. Thanks
Hi there, I have the same monitor but cant make an EDID override work at all, its all still recognized only as Blueray Player. Would you be so kind to share your best working version fo the EDID overridden 4k .inf file here? That would be very nice.
Yes here it is, just rename in .inf. Note finally, I use YCbCr444 mode instead RGB (I have bug in RGB mode like different color in half of the screen)

Hi there,
I have the same monitor but cant make an EDID override work at all, its all still recognized only as Blueray Player.

Yes here it is, just rename in .inf.

Thank you very much, chtiblue. I will try this out next. Looking at the .inf I saw the preferred resolution is FullHD. Does the .inf still support (half) 4k 3D? And do you use any specific setting on the TV hardware? I connect the TV via HDMI to the graphics card, and identify it with a "computer" icon. In the extended display settings where you can chose Game/PC/none I set it to "Computer". Do I have to manually activate "3d" via the TV remote? I am just asking because there is so many things one can make differently.

yeah it support 4k 3d computer mode too. Disable sharpness to 0 (aka definition) to avoid huge ghosting ;) No need to activate 3d for interlieved 4k 30vision Activate 3d for SBS or Top Bottom 3D Enjoy

I recently discovered playing games in 3D. It's amazing. I'm glad I found this community. I hope developers give more attention to 3D in the future. I installed innuendo1231b's edid override and it worked as expected. But 4k it's very demanding, can we have a middle term? 2k it would be nice. I tried changing to 2560x1440 in game but 3d failed. Is it possible use the override in other resolutions? Thanks in advance.

My LG 49UB8500 finally arrived. Only got to use it real quick before work. One thing I noticed is there are tiny horizontal lines when viewed at desk distance in 2D. Is this normal for a passive 3D set. I feel like I can't see them when back 4-5 feet or more.

Also, i feel kinda dumb but I can't find where to activate side by side or TB 3D on this thing at all. The override works great though. Thanks for any help.
Yep, let us know.
Sorry for 3 posts in a row but wanted to report back. 3840x1440 definitely works for ultrawide and 3D on my LG. I do have to go into scaling options and choose no scaling and override game settings to make it work consistently. Playing in the resolution is much nicer on my graphics cards. With 2x1080s, 4K 3D is still hard to push even on an older game like resident evil 6. At 3840x1440 though, it's a consistent 60fps.

I'm not sure how to take a 3D screenshot in interleaved mode but your settings are the same as mine. I've tested Trine 3, Resident Evil 6 and several lego games. None of them have the issue I see in your screen shots. Strange. I don't have Deus Ex to test unfortunately.

it's a little tricky: for attchment button use, you have to make a post (add reply) and then join a pic with attachment in this post. After the forum has scaned your pics, right click on your pic's link, save link's address and then you can edit your post and paste your link between "[img][/img]" Then we can see your pics with cross eyes method ;)
Indeed ultrawide works perfect for you, I had to try it with other games...
You win some, you lose some. I myself can't for the life of me get side by side 3D to work. If the TV autodetects side by side it works but it doesn't autodetect games. Hopefully there will be a eureka moment but I feel I'm out of options.
