Hello, I have an Asus G74SX notebook with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M.
Now my laptop supports 3D vision and it works fine only thing is I only get the option to enable 3D vision in the Nvidia Control Panel when my laptop is hooked up to my TV through HDMI. The games are playable in 3D fine and I see them on my laptop screen in 3D but it must be plugged in to a TV. Why is that? I never play game on my TV, I'm always just playing on my laptop itself in my room and its very frustrating because my 3D vision won't work unless it's plugged in to my TV in my living room.
To play in 3D now I must hook it up to my living room TV then just keep the TV input to "TV" so my familly can watch TV while I play my games, then I'm also stuck sitting right beside the TV. (Man I said TV alot in that sentance)
So can anyone help with this? And does anyone know how I can enable it while not plugged in to my TV? Thanks.

Did the 3Dvision kit come with your laptop?
Is your laptop screen 120 hz? or set in 120 hz?
[/quote]
No I did not get a 3D vision kit with my laptop and my laptop screen is only 60 hz. Why? Does it have to be 120?
Like I said I'm just using 3d glasses (red and blue). I'm not looking for 3DTV play. Also whether it has to be 60 or 120 hz, 60 hz works fine so I don't see how I wouldn't get the option because my screen. When I play on my laptop 60 hz screen in red/blue 3D it looks amaing and theres no lag, I'm even on max settings (playing Batman Arkham City).

As I understand it (just reading posts here) various laptop OEM's requested that Anaglyph 3D be removed from the drivers.
Connecting the TV is probably just working around the restriction.

I have heard that, but my laptop advertises the Nvidia 3D vision.. I have stickers on my laptop, aswell as the Windows 7 stickers and stuff and my laptop also has the "3D" thing built in beside my webcam and mic.
