I 100% agree with the description "3D Masterpiece" for this game! It's so obvious the developers had 3d in mind when you see how the color schemes prevent any kind of ghosting whatsoever. Definitely the best looking graphics out there. It's be really nice to see nvidia bundle this game with their 3d vision kits. While some of the big developers may be letting the 3d quality slip in their games and engines in search of the easier dollar, it's the smaller developers like these guys who show them how it's done.

This game is amazing. I can see why the devs put the easy to use 3D controls in the menu as the game looks amazing in 3D. I could barely move my character along at first, i kept stopping to look at everything. The artistic detail has got to break some record somewhere.
Why don't we have simple to use controls like that? Its easy to see whats happening when you can move them along so quickly like that. A numerical quantity to go along with that would really help people communicate meaningfully about 3D as well and help new people get help from the more experienced. Not that they would need it so much with that level of control.

I was going to wait for a sale but I felt bad about not supporting a developer putting so much effort into 3d. I can't wait to give this game a go.

Finally i can play this game, sli performance was terrible for me and very low fps, new beta drivers and i'm solid 60fps with anti aliasing on very high, only took a few months and i knew it was'nt my system,it was drivers!

I'm running the latest betas (295.51) and it's staying at a flawless locked 60fps 3D (120fps counting both eyes). 2 x GTX 580 with SLi enabled, all details maxed.
I find both separation and convergence at just under halfway in the in-game settings is best, with depth at 50% in the Nvidia control panel. I have the UI depth recessed into the screen so aiming indicators and cursor are at almost the same depth as the characters, just slightly in front so it doesn't look weird when UI elements go over the characters.
Have to say in spite of being a side-scroller it is definitely the best game for 3D I've played, above Crysis 2 and Witcher 2 in my opinion. Absolutely stunning.

I definitely recommend 1080p@60hz in sbs over 3dtvplay at 720p. You will notice a great improvement in image detail.
When you get to Chapter 7 - Hspoilerg Gspoilers. The depth, the emo-flowers and the mist blows me away everytime - wow!
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

yup, toted my pc over to my living room for a few hours yesterday just to try some games on my new 3dtv. And yes, for Trine 2, 1080p@60hz sbs is the way to go. I like native implementation for 3dtvs. Same with Sonic Generations. In 3d vision, a few anomalies, but in native sbs on the tv, it's picture perfect! Don't get me wrong, still love 3dtv play for non-natively supported 3d.

I definitely would love 3dtvplay more if SBS was supported. I had to play Dear Esther with iz3d due to the bugs with 3dvision, really big difference there. Sure, there is a slight blurring with SBS, but the amount of detail with 1080p vs. 720p is well worth it. I still can't decide whether SBS or Top-Bottom is the way to go with Panasonic, SBS is sharper, but there is a more jaggedness, while Top-Bottom is a little like FXAA.

Why don't we have simple to use controls like that? Its easy to see whats happening when you can move them along so quickly like that. A numerical quantity to go along with that would really help people communicate meaningfully about 3D as well and help new people get help from the more experienced. Not that they would need it so much with that level of control.
