Disable "This application is not rated" in the application 3D Vision Programming
  2 / 3
We've seen a lot of problems with 8.1. This sounds different to the problems other people have had, but 8.1 doesn't seem to play nice with 3d. You'll probably have better luck on 7 or 8.

Any movement on fixing this annoyance? I'm getting the warning *every* single time I load up Sleeping Dogs (super extra fancy digital edition) through Steam on Windows 7. Is there a check box to remove the "Not yet rated" warning? Anything? Why is this still a problem? The issue is I'm running games to my television. My television is near, but not conveniently near, my computer. The television is 3D. The monitor is not 3D. I play 3D games on my television because that's where it is possible for me to view 3D. As a consequence of my 3D viewing monitor being, in fact, a TV, it is located across from the couch. Because couches generally are made for leaning back, there is a coffee table in front of it instead of a desk. Now, by virtue of it being a coffee table, it is a good 18 inches shorter than my desk; in conjunction with the depth is a lack of a space to insert my legs. I have also found it more amenable to use a device called a "controller" to play. A "controller" is specially designed to be comfortably functional without the use of a desk -- indeed, a desk would actually be a hindrance to its ergonomics. Due to the combination of these factors, the couch is not an optimal environment for a keyboard or a mouse. A combination of these multitudinous factors has lead me to the natural -- and perhaps inconceivable (to some) -- decision to place my keyboard on the desk and use the "controller" on the couch. This is common practice in many parts of the world. Now the issue is this: The controller is populated with buttons appropriate to its space and usage. Since the controller is operated largely with thumbs, there are few buttons. With the lack of space and operating tools, the designers of these controllers have not designated a button for either 'ctrl', 'alt', or 'ins.' This makes it impossible to press 'ctrl' 'alt' or 'ins' either individually, serially, or in concert, because these buttons, for all intents and purposes, do not exist on the controller. This necessitates that the consumer of the video game traverse the space from the couch which is the space they are, in fact, playing the game to best take advantage of what is most likely the only 3D appliance in their domicile (their television) with their controller, the device best suited to the environment, to the desk, where, due to the availability of a large, flat service as well as a space underneath to place ones legs, the keyboard traditionally lies. Since NVIDIA putatively makes video cards with gaming as one of its primary purposes, and since many people do practice the video game arts while seated, at a couch, with the aforementioned "controller", I would, with all humility, suggest that an option be given to disable the warning permanently across all applications, or, as another option, allow the warning to expire after a brief period, being careful not to make that time period too brief, lest you rob the player of the crucial, perhaps life-saving, information that this game has not been rated by NVIDIA. As a general guideline, this time might be less than the time is takes for the television to turn itself off, because it is probably unnecessary (and perverse) to send a message after the transmission of the message has become impossible. I do apologize if this request is presumptuous; since it seems (to the best of my knowledge which I would be overjoyed and thankful to have corrected) this issue has not been addressed for four years, it must be of some great technical, moral or cognitive complexity; I don't presume to understand the depths of this issue, but I present it to you with the best of my understanding, in the hopes my meager contribution may be of service. Did you open a support ticket? BTW if you use control + F7, it saves the game configuration and disables the intro overlay.

@vestigial Since your couch bound and anti keyboard, you might want to consider Controller Companion, it's available on Steam for $3. It turns your controller into a virtual keyboard and net navigator. http://store.steampowered.com/app/367670/

Adding the MysteryStereoSetting to the Base/Global should fix games not saving to their respective Profile, like the Sleeping Dogs issue, and disabling StereoMemoEnabled in the Base/Global will remove the green info text, more info here.

Best solution for remove that rating message and works,i came with is Uninstall 3D Vision Driver/s,problem solved, but its not one big solution for everything ... becoz some games require it,like Crysis 3 TM i think. So its just temporary solution. But for some people it might help.

... umm that's a bit extreme don't you think? You could just uncheck the Enable Stereoscopic 3D in the Control Panel or run the Enable/Disable Shortcuts in Start>Programs... you shouldn't really be seeing the messages unless you've Enabled Stereoscopic 3D and are playing a game that triggers 3D Vision in the first place. edit:tab limbo... @helifax Do you hate having to remember to check your gas gauge? Walk! ;)

So, I've been noticing the similar message and my game "Roblox" (Please don't judge me) has been activated or bugged into a 3D Red/Blue Design or just screen filter. If anyone knows the key to fixing this, please help.
