Thinking of getting the 22" model as I really miss my 3D since I bought an LCD monitor. What's the 2D image like? I know that not EVERY game will be playable in 3D so I need to know what the 2D contingency looks like. I used to use ED shutterglasses on a 22" CRT.
At the moment, I have a Dell Ultrasharp 24".
Cheers. Looking forward to getting back into stereo.

Looking forward to see more people back into and joining the 3d community as well. :D
To your question: The iz3d looks like which lcd-screen as else with a kind of softener filter attached to it. Maybe with a slight bluish tone but that is compared to my other lcd. Gaming in 2d or using it for other purposes is absolutely no problem. Just take off your glasses since the image in 2d (with glasses) could be a kind of disturbing since the driver works in dual screen mode thus providing the back panel with the image you see and the front panel with the background desktop image. :D

well to be more precise: the 2D picture suffers from sharpness - I compared the iZ3D side by side to another 22" LCD - you will definitly see this - when I worked with the iZ3D I often tried fo search (but did not find) the sharpening button on the monitor...

hi! i have a iz3d model.. i also had the 17" version.
the 17" was lets say 30% less good than a normal lcd, but 22" is exactly the same quality of a normal 22" lcd. there is absoultely no blur, the screen is focussed.
its true, not evry game game can be played in 3D. for example all dx7 games wont work in 3D. fortunately those games are all old. the new games work nearly all including unreal tournament 3, crysis, need for speed, timeshift and so on. the list on iz3d .com does not indicate which games exclusivly work. it only indicates which games fork for shure. there ar etons of others wich work as well, and the drivers are reguarly released with new game compatibilities.
opengl games do not work, but the release of the opengl drivers is near. (posted by iz3d on mtbs3d.com)
in my opinion its a very nice peace of hardware and on mtbs there are a lot of reviews in the forum.

I do not agree to this - I have tested the monitor side-by-side to another 22" LCD - and there was a significant difference in focus ! Did you really made a simmilar test comparing th Iz3D to another LCD ?

My wife uses an Acer 22" LCD, and I have to say "blurry" is not the best word choice here. There is a hint of softness to it, but nothing close to blurry. Remember that the light is going through an extra LCD panel.
If you want a sharper image, I have found that turning the sharpness up in the NVIDIA color control panel very effective (do this on the BACK panel).

Cheers for the info guys. Somewhere on some forum (can't for the life of me remember now) somebody told me that it was available from one company online in the UK. I asked them for the price and didn't get a reply. Anyone give me the link of this site that sells them in the UK? It's just that importing from America costs $270. Cheers again guys.

correct - but I would like to point out that I never wrote 'blurry' - I wrote 'significant difference in focus' and '2D picture suffers from sharpness' - since English is not my primary language I tried to find the correct words which describes what I have seen on my model.
