OpenGL3DVision Wrapper v.3.19 Public Release (Beta)
9 / 10
I put it in window mode and it works!, but the mouse cursor is invisible in the game and makes it unplayable. Any suggestions to get the mouse cursor working? Also, is there an option to make borderless window mode? thanks
Edit:
Hmm I see they managed to break the fix yet again somehow... Probably they changed shaders again.... By far the game that broke the fix so far the most:))
I'll make an updated version to it soon;))

Awesome. Thanks man!
I wonder if Fallout 4 is using ID TECH 5 and thus OpenGL? That would also be a huge title that might benefit from your wrapper and using OpenGL would give awesome performance like Rage, which looked good and had great performance.

Yupp;) The Evil Within is a Hybrid: Uses OpenGL internally but rendering inside a DX11 context;)) That's why I didn't fix it...(although I really wish I would/could as I really was looking forward to that game :( Still haven't played it though...)

I just downloaded The Evil Within and looked through the variables. The thing is, I didn't see any type of OpenGL cvars at all. There were hundreds of variables too. There was a r_gameRender "1", but it wouldn't let me change it.
In Steam launch options put +com_allowconsole 1
In game open the console using the "insert" key
Type "listcvars" and hit enter, unfortunately conDump is turned off so you will not be able to export it to a text file.
Scroll using page up/down
Other than swapinterval, which is typically OpenGL v-sync, I didn't see a thing.
So it doesn't look like OpenGL can be forced in the console.

So I encountered a bit of weirdness with a game called TinyKeep, right before the Steam Summer Sale it was on sale for $2.50 so I grabbed it in hopes of playing it in 3D.
I did my typical ritual to try to get it to trigger 3D Vision, which usually ends in me dropping the OpenGL wrapper in there with it ... and that's when it ran in 3D, broken but 3D.
Ok, so at this point it was left on the '3D-Hub Player' Profile, triggering the OpenGL wrapper(SplashScreen) ... I turned the effects way down to the minimum and it actually played nicely in 3D.
Later my oldest wanted to play it in 2D, so I renamed the dll so it wouldn't use it and when the game started it was in 3D ... even without the OpenGL wrapper(NoSplashScreen).
There may have been an update but either way when I was messing around with it later it was triggering both the HelixMod and the OpenGL wrappers, it would trigger either or, when disabled, and both, when both were enabled. HelixMod was Cycling and Dumping the Shaders ... it's just really odd that they're both kicking in and at very first the only way to get it to trigger 3D Vision was using this wrapper.
Edit:*Sigh* The Evil Within ...

Aha! That happens because the wrapper generates a Nvidia profile to and sets some flags used by 3D Vision;))
You got lucky there since for some reason the game also loads opengl32.dll (maybe it has a hybrid renderer and supports both OGL and D9x like some other games;)) Like TESO. And defaults to DX9). That was enough for 3D to kick and since is a DX9 game you could use helix's wrapper;))

I see that Rage is currently on sale through Steam. Anyone recently tried Helifax's fix for this and if so, how is the 3D and is it working ok. I have latest nvidia drivers and wondering if this creates a problem. Helifax, any comments sir :)

Hey there;)
The current fix works with Rage. The game uses the same engine (ID5) as the last Wolfie games (and the damn 60fps) lock.
The fix is working very well, however I had to disable some shadows and some things. The fix is exactly like the first Wolfenstein: The New Order. I plan to update the shader fixes to properly fix the shadows and some remaining issus though;)) but currently is very playable (just not 3D Vision Ready status, yet)

Any chance of revisiting Fable Anniversary and fixing shadows? Just read thru your thread on it.
Latest version that fixes most of the issues (excluding water reflections + shadows disabled) is UP on:

I know I gave it a pretty big look at the game last year. Also revisited it a couple of times. It is using UE3.
I also tried manually fixing and using Helix Script. Using Helix Script I managed to fix pretty much everything in the game except the shadows. I tried multiple things for shadows and none worked:-s
I'll probably take another look in the future as well;))

You might also give my script a whirl - it can now fix UE3 shadows as well:
shadertool.py -i --auto-fix-unreal-shadows --auto-fix-unreal-lights Dumps/AllShaders/PixelShader/*.txt
