Please fix 99 screenshots maximum per game bug.I'm tired of copying & pasting. Pls!
Ok, here is the bug.

You can take 99 JPS screenshots per game... After 99 it won't take screenshots anymore for that game unless you cut & paste your screenshots to a different folder, in which screenshots will then start counting from 1 again.

In your C++ code please change the following:

99

to

99999

Thanks...

Think about it, are people who buy a $270.00 120hz monitor and a $179.99 pair of glasses CASUAL GAMERS? No.... WE're hardcore gamers... Hardcore gamers like us take at least 10,000 to 20,000 screenshots per month..... tee hee.. :P

just out of curiosity... why would you take 10 000 SS´s? what for?
unless you´re using avidemo to record a game movie i dont really see the point .

It will take more than 99, it just won't allow more than 99 in the save directory for the same game. I expect what it's doing is looking to see if file 01 exists. If it does, it checks if 02 exists, and so on until it finds one that doesn't exist or passes 99. They likely put the top limit at 99 because, unless you have an SSD drive, it takes the hard drive a bit of time to check for the existance of 99 files. If you let it go up to 99999 then it could take QUITE awhile trying to find a filename to use.

Getting around this problem isn't hard. All you have to do is clean out your directory before it gets that high. (And by "clean out" I mean that you give the file a proper name and put it somewhere on your hard drive that makes sense.) Then you can take as many screenshots as you like.

The only real bug here is that the drivers say that the image was saved when, in fact, it wasn't.

Just a tip to op: Try fraps to record games. Should be way more convenient.

Yea their current code sucks balls. If they are going to stick with the current horrible code, then just change 99 to 99999 and instead of checking for files, just flat out overwrite them even if it exists.

OR.........

A simple timestamp is all that's needed. In C# or VB.NET it takes roughly 17 seconds to implement.

masseffect-7-2-2010-00-00-0000.jps

In C++ it could quite possibly take a lifetime, but hey the software will run 0.005% faster, of course no human will notice the speed increase but hey IT'S FASTER.

Of course when you're trying to program ballistic missile interception then yes every little bit counts.
