XBMC with 3D vision streoscopic issue
I have a laptop VAIO VPCF215fd which has a 3Dvision screen compatible (active 3D glasses) I am trying to make it work with the new version of XBMC GOTHAM 13.1 so when I enter in XBMC it enables the 3D function but not when it plays movies it seems that only the interface works in stereo but not the overlaying movie. Does anyone has any experience with that who could help me? Thanks!

The stereoscopic support in XBMC Gotham finally supports a bunch of 3d formats (sbs, ou, hsbs, hou...) but as of yet no actual 3d vision support. The 3d vision you are seeing when you open xbmc is just because xbmc runs in full screen direct x so it triggers the 3d vision driver, but it will not work for viewing 3d videos. You can still setup xbmc to launch a video file using an external player like 3d vision player or stereoscopic player that it is based on, but it will take you out of xbmc and after watching it in the external app it will return you to xbmc, but this does not make any use of xbmc's new stereoscopic support options. I was very excited to finally see 3d support in xbmc, here's hoping that they'll add '3d vision frame interleaved' as a 3d display option soon...
