Flugan, everyone here appreciates the significant efforts you have put into 3dmigoto's development. We all understand that your work is very important when it comes to fixing games both past and future.
While some people are happy to make small donations occasionally, we are not a big community. Any donations made will likely be small and infrequent, and will not be a reliable source of income.
We appreciate your efforts, and would like for you to continue them. But if you are doing so with the expectation of the kind of financial reward that will improve your financial situation in any meaningful way, you will be inevitably be disappointed. This is not a big enough, or wealthy enough community for that to be viable.
If you need money that badly, you may have to look at other options. You are a skilled programmer, perhaps you could look at finding short term contracts or casual work, as this will likely be less stressful and easier to manage than a full time position.
I think you may be interpreting people's comments as harsher than they are intended. No-one here wants you to leave, but people are getting frustrated with the insistant requests for donations, and what feels like an attempt to compete for who gets the most credit.
We are a supportive and friendly community, but we are not able to help your financial situation, and I doubt any of us are in a position to assist with your mental health. There are support forums out there for helping people with conditions like yours, it may be beneficial for you to seek them out.
DarkStarSword has recieved $293 so far from donators.
Just so there is no confusion that is a monthly figure, and there have been two months so far plus a few one-off donations through Paypal.
I have a reliable source of income that comes every month and is very reliable.
It's not big but it's mine.
As mentioned donations will be used to buy a VR headset.
The goal is to get 3D Vision fixed games to work in VR,
bo3d gave me the suggestion a while ago but I wasn't ready at the time.
To succeed I need a VR headset.
You might consider it unfair that I get a VR headset basically for free.
The issue is that it's a condition to be able to bring 3DVision to VR
We have a lot of work already invested in 3D Vision fixes and if we could bring it to VR it would be great. This is a very difficult task and it could take a very long time to complete.
I want to have complete transparancy. Games should be donated to the shared accunts.
I have a vote to do: vive or rift?
If doing both the price doubles.

To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
Nobody on the forum has so far been prepared to do work for hire. The system where you give me an offer and then I look into it and hopefully solve the problem seems to be a good system. It guarantees that I get the money and you get a working fix.
I did one privately, but it wasn't for a 3D fix (it was for a HUD removal).

2x Geforce GTX 980 in SLI provided by NVIDIA, i7 6700K 4GHz CPU, Asus 27" VG278HE 144Hz 3D Monitor, BenQ W1070 3D Projector, 120" Elite Screens YardMaster 2, 32GB Corsair DDR4 3200MHz RAM, Samsung 850 EVO 500G SSD, 4x750GB HDD in RAID5, Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming 7 Motherboard, Corsair Obsidian 750D Airflow Edition Case, Corsair RM850i PSU, HTC Vive, Win 10 64bit
That is really great DarkStarSword I really like your transparency about getting SLI.
Everybody knows where the money end up.
It's all for the good of the community.
I'm going to be paying on my my debt until I get 65 so that is no real problem.
It's just $100 a month. Nothing to worry about. It just sounds larger when you bring up the full sound.
That is my student loan for 7 years of full-time studies.
Don't feel too sorry for me my accurate value of my steam account is €5000.
I have 7 consoles and 500 blu-rays.
Just if you got the wrong impression earlier. I thought some people thought that I wanted to cover my massive debt using donations. That wouldn't make any sense. I'm a believer that as far as possible if you pay money you should get something in return.
In DarkStarSwords case we'll bring him a working SLI setup so he can work more effectively.
In my case I'm definitely thinking about this VR idea.
Let me know what you think of such development.
In my oppinion VR will be the next big thing for us in the nieche market.
