EDID Override for non-3D Monitors?
It seems that the latest batch of new monitors are starting to pop up like the ASUS PG279Q. I would love to get an IPS monitor but unfortunately it seems the last monitor to come out with 3D Vision support was the PG278Q, which is a TN panel. Has anyone had success with or think it's possible to use the EDID of the PG278Q on another monitor that meets or exceeds the 120Hz requirement? I really want to step up to IPS and 1440p with 3D but it appears nothing coming out going forward will support 3D Vision out of the box.

Well if it is not a 3d monitor itwill never work even with an edid trick.. I would say find a NVidia certified model
