Congratulations on all your hard work! It sounds like you managed to do a better job than the devs in some areas too, so this is probably the better option still. If purehair works in the official patch, perhaps it would be possible to copy their shaders to this patch too?

Now it will be good to make a compare between the fixes. Then based on this we can probably move our fixes to the latest version or the other way around, depends on the effort;)

It must be that Blue Host is making maintenance? I can connect fine via FTP on it though... Both links are correct...but I think the whole server is not responding to http it seems. Give it some time;) Yes I see it too: "ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED". Something hopefully BlueHost will resolve soon;) Sorry:(

To many people downloading the fix perhaps....you busted the server :) jeje I want to test the community fix, and i suppose i will play with the community fix, the Tile light, reflections and locke3d convergence sucks in the game patch. Plus i want TB Mode **Edit: Now is working!!

This is cause they are raycasted from a mono image on a 3D surface. But they still look OK-ish (as opposed to being completely busted initially). If you can compare their reflection implementation with ours and leave a comment here saying which one is more busted or if they are the same I would appreciate it.

I play the same part that i play with the Patch#4 with the community fix and: - The Tile Lights works perfect - Reflections works just fine (in patch#4 the are clearly broken) - 2D avalanche is working with flickering, but is in 3D - Playing with the convergence unlocked and adjusted, S3D effects looks easier on the eye for me. The bads: - I have a performance hit, maybe is because the last version is optimized...i don't know. I have the stutter when loading (nothing that bad), but this is clearly less fps. - The Crosshair for me is at fixed depth, not dynamic (i don't change any setting in the ini)

Are you using Right Mouse button to AIM? I will check again the ini file when I get home;) Maybe I broke something. As a quick test: - AIM and HIT escape. This will put the game on pause. - Then release the AIM button (R Mouse button). - You should see the crosshair snap back to a lower value closer to the screen. (the depth of the whole UI). Do you see this? For the performance hit try this:
1. Open regedit and set the following keys to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D\StereoDefaultOn = 0 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D\StereoDefaultONSet = 1 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D\EnableWindowedMode = 1
This disables 3D on start. Enabled it after you get to the main menu. Will this give you better framerate? Is the framerate worse in this version in 2D as well (compared with latest version) ?

helifax...i'm using XBox controller, so i using Left trigger. I'm not at home right now, but i can copy-paste in the ini to work with Left Trigger. Also i will test the StereoDefaultOn = 0 later. I don't test the game in 2D using the patch#4...i fire up in 3D directly. I will have to update again to test.
