Thank for Your information and Your pictures, AdamLazaruso :)
Looks really good with the right convergence and depth settings. I usually set depth to 100%, take off the glasses (but not switching 3Dvision off!) and change the convergenge settings until the area I focus on while playing the game (usually the player character) isn't doubled any more. This reduces ghosting in the most important part of the screen.
The only 3D problems I could find in the screenshots are the diffuse circular shadows around the characters that are at the wrong depth (see AssassinsCreedIIGame08_50.jps and AssassinsCreedIIGame09_50.jps), and the ground in the lowest part of the screen looks strange. But I think I can get used to it and ignore it by the time...I guess I'll buy the game within the next days :)

I hadn't actually spotted that until I looked at the screenshots, so it's obviously very noticable in-game.

Now that I've bougth and played this game some more infos:
Besides from the diffuse shadow problem (that You really hardly notice when playing the game) there is the same problem with the sky beeing at wrong depth as in Assassin's Creed I. In addition to that there is sometimes another layer of "clouds" that is placed almost at the top of the towers. So these are skyscprapers in the truest sense of the word. It looks strange in 2D and even more in S3D (see first picture). Can't understand why they did it that way...
But the sky is a problem You also have in many other games. So I've learned quickly to ignore these artefacts. Danymic shadows and water reflections that often cause problems are flawless in this game!
If they would solve the few problems with the sky and the diffuse circular shadows this game could be a new top title and reference for S3D games. The level design is fantastic and S3D is perfect for presenting architecture and for the platforming gameplay!
See second picture: Venezia - La Serenissima
If You like Venice also take a look at Venetica ( http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtop...amp;hl=venetica ). In contrary to the realistic style of Assassin's Creed II its style is more imaginative and very lovely.

I have an 8800GT with Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz, what resolution/quality do you expect me to play at?
Thanks for the nice screenshots btw!
My system:
3d Vision CD 1.07
2233RZ+Nvidia Glasses
8800GT 512MB
P965 chipset
Core 2 Duo E6600
1050x1680+2x 1680x1050 in clone mode (One of them via a USB graphics card)

With my GeForce GTX 260 and Core 2 Quad CPU Q9550 2.83GHz the game runs with 1680x1050 and max quality smooth. Only sometimes when doing fast free running there is a little bit of stuttering but it doesn't disturb me. But I guess You will have to reduce resolution and quality a little bit to play the game on Your PC....
BTW I've mentioned a diffuse circular shadow around the characters that is placed incorrectly. In Dirt 2 there was a similar effect I could prevent by switching off the dynamic ambient occlusion. Perhaps we can find a similar solution for Assassins Creed 2?

And i think it works quite well in 3d if you mess around with the convergance and depth a little
