Turok Rating Wrong Should Be "Fair" Lights have ghosting, crosshairs wrong
Nvidia has rated alot of games inapropriatly. First of Call Of Duty 2 works AWESOME. I have seen nothing wrong with that game at all. That game is rated as "Good". Turok is rated "Excellant". Only because of this I decided to buy this game because of the "Excellant" rating. Save your money, do not buy this. The crosshairs are wrong and you can't disable them. There is a wierd glow around people that doesn't look right. From distances you see double images that look awfull. Also with gamma turned on fog like material looks awful. Shame on you Nvidia for rating this "Excellant". You made me waste money on a game that isn't "excellant" at all.

Don't get me wrong, I love Nvidia and Nvidia 3d vision. I just think you should be better about rating your games

I totally agree with you on Turok...I already had the game and tried it in 3D. It is not excellent...

Yea I agree with you too. It's not the tv either. I've heard of ghosting on LCD tv's with 3D vision but the doubled vision shadows on Turok are lame. Manhunt looks excellent and Batman Arkham Asylum does too. But this gen Turok should get a fair rating. It's just like Deadspace the characters and objects have a shadow over them.. On Turok I was able to change the convergeance & sync the shadows but I had to keep depth really low like at default. Maybe that's what they meant. It's excellent in low Depth with the convergeance synced. To me, that's lame. I like full depth.

This isn't the only case of false advertisment I've witnessed with Nvidia either.

Dead Island on the back says "3D Vision Ready".. I bought it got it home and nope, it has a not recommended rating. Bogus man..

Other false advertisements include the Nvidia Control Panel Game Compatibility list.

Turok Dinosaur Hunter
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
House of the Dead 1
Metal Gear Solid 1
Nightmare Creatures
Grand Theft Auto 2
and others I bought for the sake of the Nvidia ratings but guess what...

None of them work at all with 3D Vision..

Recently some other guy told me those games pre DX8 or DX9 will not work.
Well guess what, they are advertised to work and Metal Gear Specifically has nvidia rating of Excellent.. Total BS and false advertisement.

I like 3D Vision a really lot. But I hate being lied to.

I've read elsewhere that many of nVidia's ratings, especially those for older games, come from their old pre-3D Vision stereo drivers. Those ratings were simply left in the new drivers, and never updated.
