but here is my question, do i have to use the glasses that came with the tv to use 3dtv play? because when i put on the nvision, i cant pass the wizard 3d test correctly.

seems as i couldn't get the nvidia glasses to work with my display, is this normal?
Not to give you a hard time... but did you read the instructions attached in the first post? It's in Chapter 1. Section 4b. "The 3D Vision IR emitter is used to enable 3DTV Play only and does not emit IR codes when 3DTV Play is operating."

That means you cannot use the 3D Vision glasses.

Then, your only choice left is to use the glasses that come with your 3DTV.

But yeah, would be helpful to have a note in the instructions specifically stating something to that effect.

thanks for the fast answer. well, i can live with that, got 2 samsung glasses that work perfectly. also now i can say 3dtv works perfect with that new driver, especially as my tv is not listed as compatible.

so good job nvidia! /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' /> and by the way, add samsung LE40C750 to the compatible list.

what do i now with my nvision glasses, if i cant use them? anybody want to buy it without the transmitter (need it to activait 3dtv play)?

You only need 3D Vision and the emitter and classes if you have compatible 120Hz monitor or DLP TV.

When 3DTV Play is released, it will be all you need to use your 3D TV. No need for the 3D Vision classes or emitter at all. Sounds like you wasted some money if you bought 3D Vision and do not have 120Hz monitor. You will get the 3DTV Play software for free, though, once it is released. And of course if you ever do buy a 120Hz monitor, you will be able to use it and play in higher than 720p resolution.

Right now, though, since 3DTV Play is not yet released, only owners of 3D Vision can test 3DTV Play. You do get some value for your money since you can use your 3D TV couple of weeks earlier than others like me who only have 3D TV and not 120Hz 3D monitor. Plus I will have to pay the $40 when it is available.
