Valve's Steam Controller interface now works with Xbox gamepads
Last year in December, Steam added the Playstation 4 controller to it's software. Now, you can configure the XBox controllers as well, but currently it's only available in their Beta release. The feature was added in the Jan 5th beta update. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta#announcements

Hmm, it seems that some Logitech controllers are configurable. I wonder if there's even support for old SideWinder controllers? https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/1/1334600128972153252/ Beta notes http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta#announcements
