This game released today. Early reports state that it finish-able in under 4 hours. Has anyone tried it? Early reviews are positive, with the exception of it being short.

Ooooh, I thought it was coming on May 12th. The gog offer fooled me. I gad bought it to receive INSIDE. I'll download it today and try it. I'm not an expert in UE4, so I can't promise a fix right away.

Cool little game - has an "Inside" vibe to it. Checkpoint system doesn't work as advertised and I have had to restart 2-3 checkpoints back from where I was when falling to my death, which I don't quite understand, so am going to start from the beginning to try to determine if it is the game or me, but am enjoying the atmosphere and the environmental puzzles. Only played for an hour or so, so can't verify length. UE 4, so using the Mafia 3 profile in CM and it works pretty well.

Short? Good. I've got a long backlog, and I'm usually pleased when games I want to play can be finished in under 10 hours.

Is it weird that I wish GoG gave away Steam keys as well... Lol? I mean they are doing this but it only works for certain games, it's after the fact and it only works from Steam to GoG, not the other way around. I would have jumped all over the Little Nightmares + Inside deal if it was up on Steam... or if I got it on both... not really sure why I like Steam so much but I usually only buy exclusives on GoG, Origin, UPlay, etc... I could really use some great short games, last game I finished was Blades of Time and before that I can't even remember... I don't nearly have as much (uninterrupted) time to game as I used to...

I have already fixed some stuff (lighting, shadows, depth of field toggle, etc. I want to disable chromatic aberration at high and max post process settings bu I didn't find the shader yet.). But some shaders will need to be loaded in ASM form, because when dumped they look different and there are some missing shadows (it's like they vanish after alt+tabbing to the game, in a smooth way in 0.2s). The The Park fix gave me some good clues. There are some decals issues, and their shaders are different from The Park. Any suggestions for UE4 games that already have fixes? I'll release a very early WIP today. 4everAwake, I know you like to release fixes silently. Please tell me if you are working on this game ;p.

As promised, a WIP fix: https://s3.amazonaws.com/masterotaku/Little+Nightmares/Little_Nightmares_3D_Vision_fix_WIP_1.7z It automatically configures the Nvidia profile to enable a setting to fix a one eye issue. Fixed: - Most lighting and shadows (I have used ASM shaders for the first time in DX11, yay). - Decals, partially. They are still wrong, but better than before. I had to delete for now a small shadows shader, that appears when the character is in front of a wall. You won't miss it. Hotkeys: - F2: HUD depth. - F3: toggle depth of field. Not disabled by default. I won't post a screenshot because it's 2:20AM where I live, and I have to go to bed. I still have to fix those decals and that shadow shader. I know where I have to fix the decals, but I'm using the wrong depth value.

Just found out that Edith finch game also came out on PC! (thought it was PS4) exclusive and it's another game that's getting rave reviews. Also, a short story driven experience that looks awesome. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYO_3hWPoqA

Nice, that's looking great :) BTW, anyone looking to save a few bucks off the Steam price, GamersGate has it on sale for $16.59 for the next week. Be careful though, depending on where you live, your credit card might charge you an currency exchange fee. https://www.gamersgate.com/DD-LITTLE-NIGHTMARES-RELEASE/litle-nightmares
