Particularly the singleplayer part of the game is very enjoyable. 3D would be terrific.
It might work with older version of 3dmigoto.
I have the same problem is I use the newer version of 3dmigoto in BF1. The new dll works with old ini so I think it might be one of the new functions.

Interesting!
I can give it a look into this, but I think I already tried it?!?! (Can't remember)

Try with the 1.0.1 version of 3Dmigoto. That version will probably works, but there are A LOT of features missing :(
And no Compute Shader Support, which makes that version worthless:(

Already tried that.
Nope it doesn't work, no 3DMigoto Wrapper version works.
All we get is 2 low boops, a black window and a crash.
Edit: 1.01 doesn't work either!
I guess this is the end of 3D Vision on Frosbite3 games, then:)
I guess I'll call it at end as well then:) LONG LIVE 2D:))
I attached a debug verbose log in case somebody wants to take a look and maybe figures out what is wrong.
However, I think what we need is to actually run the debugger with 3DMigoto on the game to actually see what is going on.

I finally have been able to launch the game after today's second patch. While the game is suffering from some pretty bad performance issues (stuttering, frame rate drops (guessing memory leaks)), the Witcher 3 CM profile looks pretty good.

Log actually looks pretty good up until it gets to the DXGIFactory2.
Try changing d3dx.ini to hook=skip_dxgi_factory, that will disable the DXGI wrapper and tell us whether it's strictly DXGI that is the problem. It also disables hunting, but it will help to know.
I'm looking into a different approach for DXGI, the wrapping does not seem to work well for newer games. Seems like all the game engines have gone mad and aren't just calling through anymore. We'll figure out something, but it's going to be awhile.

Sorry for the late reply, as I literally just got home (and the time-zone difference)
I run it and:
Good news:
No 2 low boops
No crashing: The game makes the window and then just hangs. (task manager shows 0% cpu and some 550+MB used) but it doesn't close.
I have attached the log from this session. (Only hook=skip_dxgi_factory, was used, nothing else)
I really hope this tells you more of what is going on:) Like I said before, if you want access to the game, I can give you access to my Origin Account:) (Is not a problem as I have done this in the past with other developers:))

OK, that one looks even better, but I don't see any reason why it would hang. It handles the errors we send back, and successfully downgrades to 11.0 API. It looks like it was just about to draw the frame when it hangs. It doesn't seem related to the DXGI problem, so my current approach is probably not the answer here.
For having it hang, that could a multi-threading issue, might be worth trying to set the force_cpu_affinity=1. Unlikely, but possible. Also wr
Is this possibly a game bug? I've seen reports that the game did not ship in a good state.
For these games, I think what would be really helpful is if someone wanted to contribute a year's worth of Origin Access to the ShaderHacker accounts. That's $30, and would give all ShaderHackers access to all the EA games for the next year.

I'm playing Dragon Age Inquisition again, and there is one point during installing the fix in instructions
- Go to Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features). Select "View installed updates".
- In the List search for "KB2670838".
- Select it and UNISTALL IT!!
I don't know what it is for, but actually it is not needed. After unistalling this update Battlefront II won't load and closes just like with the fix. I had to install it back - DAI works and BF II works as well. If 3dmigoto and frostbite is somehow connected with windows updates (the instruction to unistall that update) mb it is a silimar situation. just in case for you to know
