just want for our next driver release to supprot notebook GPUs with all Window mode features.
thnx Andrew, that's a good news, we'll wait patiently :- )
I hope I don't bother you with one more question about windowed mode -- would it also fix the same problem with OTHER (non-fullscreen) software as well? that would be ideal...
(for example, there is an excellent new program for arch. visualizations called Lumion 3D that supports stereo and 3D Vision, but it doesn't have a fullscreen mode.)

What I think would be the easiest solution is for Google Earth to offer that fullscreen direct x mode that games use... problem solved! get after it Google... I know you have 100 programming interns DYING for something to do! /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

yeah, that would be great.
but the best thing would be if Nvidia adds window mode support to ALL the programs. Andrew?

We need to test applications and ensure they work so blindly enabling all applications doesnt make sense.
Basically anything with a 3DV profile will work in Window mode. You can try that with World of Warcraft.

I'm glad some of you are trying this feature and I wanted to jump in and comment.

Hi Andrew,
thanks a lot for input here!
Thinking how huge the number of GE installs is, I bet that almost all 3D Vision users would love to see GE in real 3D.
And sorry if I blamed NVIDIA for it when it is actually a GE problem. Really hope this get's sorted.

1) Convergence adjustment doesn't do anything in spite of a short screen bounce. Without working convergence it is nealy senseless.
2) If it is possible (of course this would be a google problem) a stereo-three-dimensional cursor would be great. Even if you would get convergence to work you would only be able to align one single depth in the scene to the cursor's depth.
3) BIGGEST PROBLEM: my left and right POVs are inverted! I am using a ZALMAN Trimon with polarised interleaved lines and cannot find either an option inside GE nor a hotkey to invert the view.

1. I will look into if convergence is not working with Google Earth, but it should work.
2. Stereo cursors need to be implemented by the application developer.
3. We have not tested window stereo mode on Zalman panels and we will likely not support that display going forward with new Window mode features. I apologize in advance.
