1 / 2
hey guys i bought this monitor the ASUS ROG SWIFT PG278Q, and after alot of research and at my own end, i am unable to get 3d stereoscopic vision to work with SLI on this monitor. is there any solution out there. 3d vision really gives me the ability to escape the reality of my chair and enter new worlds, it gives me that immersion. however i can not play any new games because i con not get my 970 SLI to work with it. and when i use one card it just runs cruddy, please help!

I don't have the monitor myself, but I was just speaking with someone whom is an owner and has an SLI setup, and they said the SLI/3DVision conflict was resolved a couple months back. Pretty sure it would have been with an updated driver, so are you certain you are running the latest Nvidia drivers?

Dunno what to tell you then. SLI is working just fine on my Swift on most games. The only game I've played lately that I *expected* SLI to work in and didn't was Trine. Also didn't expect the Steam Overlay to be virtually unreadable in 3D, which makes consulting a walkthrough so onerous that 3D pretty much has to be disabled to use one.
Other than that, though, no, no SLI issues on my Swift in 3D. Not for a long time. On 362.00 or the more recent drivers either.

(Note: my complaint about the Steam Overlay in my last post was specific to Trine. Overlay works fine in all other games I've tried).
And really getting annoying not being able to edit posts in Internet Explorer.

you know what, it is strange i was downloading battlefield 4, and it was not finished but i went into test range, to my surprise 3d vision and SLI work with that game. hmmmm... i do not know what to say. does not work with starwars battlefront and crysis 3. i guess i will try other games than, i will download one while i sleep and check in the morning.

SLI does not work with valley benchmark program. on 1440p i get a good SLI frame rate of 140 fps. im going to test valley again see what happens with this driver. yes i scale well turned off in every game

If SLI work properly then you suppose to get it normal in 3D Vision as well. You have to try make a clean drivers update (with DDU) and try some other games which are confirmed to work in SLI. Witcher 3, GTAV, Metro, Fallout 4 for example.
