I have finally my 3D set up at my house and I must say that the 3d nVidia kit is very nice!!
But sometimes I have the feeling that I have cross eyes and then I become a little bit nauseous /crying.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':'(' /> .
I am also using the nVidia 3D player.
When I went to the movie theatre to see Avatar I didn't had that problem and decided that I wanted that at my house.
My set up:
Beamer Acer H5360
3D nVidia kit /happy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Core i7 920
EVGA GTX460
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
6 gb Kingston HyperX KHX16000D3K3/3GX
Asus P6T SE
Buffalo External Harddisk 1 tb USB 3.0
OCZ Vertex SATA II 2.5" SSD 120GB (for programs and O.S. only!)
M-Audio Audiophile 192
Is there a way to decrease this? Hope that somebody can help me.
Thanks in advance.

One small question, isn't convergence settings only for games? Because in my case it's about movies only.

When your first starting out a high convergence imo will make you more nauseus then depth. Try to keep your convergence lower right now. Just my opinion.

Movies only, so Gilbert's depth/convergence are locked in by the movie, I'm afraid.
Gilbert, I would hit pause when you get to a spot making you a bit crosseyed and then start fiddling with things. Close one eye then the other and note where your eyes are looking. If your right eye is looking toward the right and your left eye toward the left then you are getting divergence, which will give you a headache fast. If distant objects are diverging like that then you need to get further away from the screen. If all sorts of objects are doing that then, as Roller mentioned, the images are probably switched - the movie is probably being played back in the wrong format or some such.

Still a little nauseous but it's getting a little bit better. But now I have a new problem /unsure.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I received my second pair of glasses and now one of them can't stop flickering /verymad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':verymad:' /> when I use them both at the same time.
Problem solved. I thought that maybe when I hook up 2 receivers that it would work better, but that was wishfull thinking /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Just keep your 3D levels low to start with and then slowly increase you depth/convergence settings over the coming weeks
Your brain/eyes will soon adapt to the increased levels

Yes, altering convergence is just in games

How many glasses can you use with one receiver?
