Instant 3D Image Viewing on 3D Monitors With Firefox!
Hi Guys!
I have a little something for interlaced monitor owners running the current NVIDIA S-3D drivers.
If you are looking for an instant way to view 3D images through your browser, we figured out a way to do it with iZ3D and dual output solutions (e.g. HMDs, etc.).
This solution will work equally well for interlaced monitor solutions that are compatible with NVIDIA's 3D stereo viewer. Just follow the above guide, but replace the sView software with the NVIDIA viewing solution that came with the stereo drivers. In fact, if you are running XP with older equipment (e.g. traditional LCD shutter glasses), this option should work for you too.
This is very useful if you want to instantly view 3D images in a gallery, or if you see posted screen shots in a forum and want to avoid having to download the image before viewing in 3D.
See what you think! For me, this makes image sharing a lot more fun.
