Hi guys,
The fix doesn't seem to hook - the helifax splash doesn't show up during launch.
I seem to be on the latest version with both DOOMx64.exe and the Vulcan DOOMx64vk.exe... I believe this is v6.66?
I know that Vulcan isn't supported so I am using DOOMx64.exe, but unfortunately, no hooking, no splash, and no 3D.
I'm running Windows 10 64-bit, and have tried disabling the splash screen as it seems to have caused hooking problems back on page 10 of this thread.
Do I need to downgrade to an older version of the game maybe?
Thanks!
Works fine here!
Just make sure that DOOMx64.exe is set to run with Admin rights! Otherwise, the wrapper will not work.
Tested just now with the Steam version.

I appreciate you looking into it mate, I'll try a clean boot and reinstall.
BTW, you might want to update the included profile config to add these new SLi flags:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/379720/discussions/0/352788552272267116/
Apparently, you get excellent SLi scaling with these bits, which I bet you will need with your surround setup!
Update:
Clean install now hooks, but there is a solid black texture on the player gun as well as enemies and other objects. Helixmod blog shows that others have the same problem.
Tried original, as well as with various game updates - all same issue.
Perhaps a driver issue? Helifax recommended 365.10/365.19, however, these drivers do not support GTX 1080. Earliest drivers for a GTX 1080 are 368.25, which also exhibit the problem (DDU cleanup done properly from safe mode).
Anyone else tried the game with a GTX 1080 and can recommend a driver version?
What I am doing wrong must be pretty simple, but I can't seem it figure it out :)

That sounds like you are using the wrong version of the fix.
Make sure you download the last one from here: http://3dsurroundgaming.com/OpenGL3DVisionGames.html#Doom
(Make sure that you are actually downloading the file from the site and not some pre-cached Chrome file. Chrome sometimes wants to be smart and doesn't actually re-download the file, but gives a cached version. Hitting F5 5-10 times on the page should make chrome actually reload the page.)
The latest version should come with wrapper v.7.19. The splash-screen as well as the 3D Vision Info box should say this;)
As for the game, I am using DOOM from Steam, up-to-date.
Drivers, I am using 388.31, but it shouldn't matter is drivers are newer!
Hope you get it sorted;)
Cheers!

@ people with SLi: Read below for potentially better SLi performance ONLY if you have PCIe 3.0 16x/16x setup (With 16x/8x or 8x/8x, you will get negative scaling!):

There was talk of better SLi profile here:

There seems to have been significant success in that department.
I have modified Helifax's GameProfile.3dcfg to incorporate these SLi bit changes (I think I have done it right at least - converting Hex to Dec values).
https://www.dropbox.com/s/fbwzmkhiaubp9f5/GameProfile.3dcfg?dl=0
Installation:
1. Install Helifax's fix
2. backup GameProfile.3dcfg
3. Download and copy over the above file
4. Make sure to set shadows to less than "Nightmare".
If it performs better than before, great! If not, then restore backup. (It did not work great for me due to my PCIe 3.0 8x/8x - bus showed complete saturation at 1600p 3d vision (identical to 4k 2d) , but scaling on the second GPU was impressive).
Of course, all credit to Helifax and DSS!

Just have to say I picked up this game for $10 yesterday, applied Helifax' patch and it works great on a passive display. Thanks.
I did have some minor issues with the text on the in game panels which was solved by turning off AA - runs better that way anyway. Also, it crashes on exit but task manager can close it.

Awesome! I noticed that crash on exit in some cases, but it seems to be system dependent. It works fine on 2 PCs I have but I get a crash on exit on the 3rd. I can't really figure out why though... (Probably something to do with the clean-up and the nvidia drivers not being happy)...

I fixed it by changing to fullscreen=false in the cfg file, no idea why that worked but it did. Exits to desktop now.

Yes it works. I have the same problems but when you turn on the Internet and YouTube (video from 1920 x 1080 to 60 fps for a pause) the FPS is normalized. Titanfal 2 also works only with the Internet connection turned on. I would like to know why. Personally, I have suspicions about mining.

Interesting find. That sounds like a driver problem. For some reason I don't think it changes to the correct P state, but if you use a video or (anything with hardware acceleration) it will put the GPU in the correct power state. I never had the issue you describe though, so this is just speculation.

Mining of what? Adding extra work for the GPU should decrease the performance, not the other way around (which is what seems to be happening).

I just booted up DOOM in steam to have a look and it's still working fine for me.
Have you tried copying the fix into the install directory again to make sure all the files are correct?

Any idea what is wrong?
