My game ran fine like a week or two ago. I believe In-game origin turned on because of an update and it started crashing so I turned it off and its crashing. I've reinstalled, repaired, and pinpointed that its the HelixMod d3d9.dll. Please Help I love playing this game in 3D

Hi QuantumZX. A few people tested this game recently (using Windows 7 & 10) and the 3D was running ok for them: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/997876/3d-vision/mass-effect-3-3d-problems/
Maybe try re-installing the fix & the game?
It runs in 3D. Just the fixes don't work. I reinstalled and reapplied fixes and it still doesn't work.
Thanks for the reply though
Also the ShaderOverride Folder/Other file isnt making it crash. Its just the d3d9.dll
I was just playing this game a month ago on windows 10 with no issues. I can test for you tonight when I get home.
Edit: New version of origin loaded when I launched it. Everything still works as far as I can tell. No errors with 3d fix in place. Again, I am using windows 10, though I am not sure why that would matter.
Usually when you get a d3d9.dll crash it means that an overlay of some sort is running. I know you said you have origin in-game off, but do you have another overlay running? Like MSI afterburn..or an fps counter or anything like that?

I am not sure what else it could be. Are you sure you have the latest d3d9.dll from the site. Only other thing I can think to try is to load the latest dx9 update from Microsoft.

Delete your d3d9.dll
extract files into mass effect 3 folder.
launch helixmodlauncher let it run in background.
Launch me3.
-------------------------------------
New hotkeys are F3-F4-F5-F6
...and/or try renaming the Origin in-game dlls(C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin\igo*.dll), something like this should work, save as OriginOverlay.bat
@Echo Off
if Exist "%ProgramFiles(x86)%" Set "$x86= (x86)"
:Loop
for %%? in ("C:\Program Files%$x86%\Origin\igo*.d*") do (
if "%%~x?" == ".dll" Move /Y "%%?" "%%~dpn?.dii"&&CLS&&Echo Origin In-Game: Disabled
if "%%~x?" == ".dii" Ren "%%?" "%%~n?.dll"&&CLS&&Echo Origin In-Game: Enabled
)

This part worked for me but now text is all wonky. It looks all jumbled and weird. But the fixes do work besides making the text worse.
OH yeah and thanks a lot everyone :)
Did you try control+t or alt tab, sometimes doing so will reload things and make everything hunky dory.
and please, in the future, read the directions on the blog for installing/using the fix in the future
