OK, so my dog ate my glasses (so mad), and I need to buy a new pair. The model of the glasses was P854 that came with my Dell XPS17 laptop. Everything worked perfectly.
I found an extra pair of glasses for $69.99 at the Nvidia store, but also seen a pair of 3d vision 2 glasses for $30 more.
Question 1: Will these work with my 3D monitor?
Question 2: If yes, is it worth paying the extra cost? I have read that 3D Vision 2 has less ghosting, and are bigger and more comfortable.
Please reply if you know the answer(s) to those questions. Thank you kindly.

The 3D Vision 2 glasses are bigger and the battery lasts longer between charges. The button for 3D Vision 1 glasses is easier to access, IMHO, making the old glasses handier for quick views of pictures. Both glasses seem comfortable to me but other folks think the older glasses pinch more.
There IS something of a difference in ghosting but it's not because of lightboost, it's because of the things I just mentioned. The flicker in the glasses doesn't work so well at the edges but, because the 3DV2 glasses are bigger, the edges are further from your main field of vision. You can also get ghosting as your battery starts to lose charge so the longer lasting battery means more time at full charge which means less ghosting.
Overall, the 3D Vision 2 glasses are superior. Whether they are $30 superior is a tough call.

What about the dongle? my v1 wireless glasses are broken too..., do I have to buy only the wireless v2 glasses, or I need also the v2 dongle? Any difference using Acer H5360 pj in terms of quality?
v1 = IR (infrared) and V2 = RF (radio frequency)?
V2glasses+V1dongle = working solution?
V2glasses+V1dongle = only IR?
V2glasses+V1dongle = lower quality than V2glasses+V2dongle?

If you're running 3d vision surround the 3D Vision 2 glasses will be better. I also think they're more comfortable. I wear glasses under mine so they're actually much nicer in that regard. And because the lenses are a bit wider it's easier to see across your 3 screens in 3d surround.

But it is true that they are bigger and more comfortable.
Also the glasses wont help you in ghosting too.
