With the updates that have come out, I'm having trouble digging up the info I am looking for. I'm thinking of buying 3DTV Play for my Mitsubishi WD-73837, but I certainly don't want to drop the money if Play does not support my TV.
Does anyone know if the Mitsu 837's ARE supported?

All Mits owners should use 3D Vision, not 3DTV Play with it's hideous image quality.

Unlike the newer DLP models which come with HDMI 1.4 support, 837 models don't have the ability to upgrade their HDMI for native 3D TV play support.
So roller11 is correct, you need to use 3D vision and not 3D TV Play. Unless you want to get the Mitsubishi 3DC-1000 adapter to which works with 3D TV play and supports PS3/360, bluray player... but that really isn't necessary for PC 3D.

The 73837 is HDMI1.3, so getting this adaptor for 3D gaming amounts to paying money to downgrade from 3D Vision 1920x1080 to 3DTV Play scaled 1280x720 in 3D games.

For PC gaming I agree, but if he wants to play PS3/360 games in 3D, that adapter the only option available for him and that TV.

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530
Is that the laser model out of curiosity?
[/quote]
No, it's the model right before the lasers came out. But, it does 120 Hz and it plays 3D games on the PS3 and Xbox just fine.
