Problems with 3d vision. Asus g53sw.
Good day to all. This is my first appeal to the foreign forum. Sory but my english is not very well. A few days ago i bought ASUS g53sw. According to the statements of the seller it is with 3d. The included nvidia 3d glasses, on top of the monitor there is a 3d icon. After buying it I decided to clean and change thermal paste. During the analysis saw that the monitor goes 3 wires. Technical support Asus Russia told that it should be. 1 wire is the loop matrix, 2 is a camera and the third is the IR emmiter. Hence the set really ought to be 3d. Therefore I wanted to try 3d. But in the settings the nvidia control panel was not available the item on stereoscopic 3d. I read Russian forums and decided to reinstall the driver, but if not help then reinstall windows. In the control panel settings item refresh rate. There are 120hz. Which once again confirmed the fact that this is a set 3d. Trying to find the drivers, even installed windows 7 not yielded much success. But there is a 3d vision folder and in it to enable 3d vision. When clicking nothing happened. And so a couple of times. What the problem is and how to treat it I don't know. Please help. Now installed the latest drivers from NVIDIA for windows 7. installed nvidia gtx460m with 1500mb. How to enable 3d corectly?

The 4XX series of GPUs have not been supported for quite awhile in 3D Vision. What you need to do, is use an older driver. So you'll need to check the driver notes. GL and enjoy. BTW, for stereoscopic compatibility fixes, be sure to check out http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html EDIT: I might be wrong, I was thinking that the gtx460m was EOL (End of Life), I'm not really sure if it is or not. http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3473/~/eol-windows-driver-support-for-legacy-products

I do not see the ASUS g53sw on this list. I see the G53SW-3DE http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-system-requirements.html Do you see anything like this? You can take a picture with a camera or phone and see that the infrared light is on. (newer phones do not work) This emitter seems to be at the base of the display, I think yours is maybe at the top. You should also see a green 3D Vision logo in the Nvidia Control Panel

Thank you for the quick reply, D-Man11 If I understand you correctly I need to remove the new drivers(latest) and install the old one? Yet it is desirable to remove, as they say tails, that would not be old? http://www.nvidia.ru/download/driverResults.aspx/29822/ru this is the link to the driver. But I don't understand what the first link above. This link shows all games with automatic support 3D vision?

There's a YouTube video of the G53SW-3DE being disassembled, if that helps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4IoA3zqbiKU

Not very many games work with 3D Vision. You need to use mods. (fixes)

]Video g53sw-3de, I do not see on top next to the camera icon 3d, and probably a place in the IR emmiter. Plus, in the video, no third wire. There is a loop matrix, wi-fi and camera. And I have another on the other side, there is a single wire. At the moment the forum does not allow me to upload photos((
