trouble with quadro FX3800 on linux no stereo perception
I have a HP Z800 WS with an Nvidia quadro FX3800 graphics card.

I also have an Nvidia 3D vision kit comprising of IR emitter, Nvidia glasses and Samsung 2233RZ LCD monitor.

I’m running RHEL5.0.

I installed the nvidia driver from the website, (http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux-display-amd64-195.36.24.html), version 195.36.24

Problem: My software (pymol and maestro) does detect that hardware stereo is available. The IR emitter is glowing green. I even see the double image. But I cannot perceive 3D through the glasses!

I am attaching my xorg.conf file.

I did google before sending this. It seems this doesn’t work without a 3 pin DIN connector. Unfortunately, this Quadro FX 3800 doesn’t have a port to put in a DIN connector!

Can you help?

Thanks and regards,
