Hello there !
Since a few days I'm thinking about buying some 3D glasses to use with my Optoma HD131Xe.
But when it comes about 3D gaming, I'm totally lost about what I have to buy.
Yesterday, I understood that, since my proj is not "3D Vision ready", I'll have to stick with 3DTV Play to 3D game in good conditions. Am I right at this step ?
If yes, I'm totally lost with the differents 3D glasses that exists. If I buy a 3D Vision set, will it work ? What other compatible 3D glasses can I buy ? I'd like to avoid the 120€ Optoma set if possible.
Thanks for your answers !
If yes, I'm totally lost with the differents 3D glasses that exists. If I buy a 3D Vision set, will it work ?
No.. You would need to purchase the Active shutter glasses such as the EStar ESG6100 RF-3D Starter Kit @ $69.99USD. This would plug into your "3D Sync out" port on the back of the projector. Once you have that kit installed you are able to purchase additional glasses such as the Optoma BG-ZF2100GLS (~$35USD) which will work with the RF emitter from the ESG6100 kit.
In order for the Nvidia 3D Vision kit to work you would need to have a Nvidia 3D Vision certified monitor/projector.

Thank you for your answer.
I ordered the ZF2300 Starter Kit, and try as soon as I receive it before ordering an other pair of glasses.
Have a nice day !
