Surround 3D w/ LG?
Hey, thanks in advance for your knowledge on this subject. I'm contemplating putting together a 3D surround setup w/ 3 LG TV's. 42LA6200 because the 2D to 3D convesion is nice and I'm redoing my media room so that I will be 5'-6' from the monitors. 1. Has anyone used this TV w/ 3D vision? How does it perform? 2. What Video Card should I get to push the resolution in BF4 Med/High settings? I do have an SLI MB but would prefer a single card solution depending on Bang per buck. 3. I recently hooked my HTPC to a new Vizo 65-A2R and the 3D is incredible but only at 24Hz. That is not acceptable for gaming. Advice?

Hm. Never heard of anyone doing surround with TVs, I don't know if that will work.

I don't know for sure but I'd be very surprised if you can do this, unless you can use an EDID override and made the driver see the tv's as a monitor. Remember that with a TV (via HDMI) as opposed to a monitor, you're using 3dtv play, not 3d vision. I don't think 3dtv play has any kind of surround support, it probably just works with one display device.
unless you can use an EDID override
Can you explain? I did some research and it refers to EDID as "Audio". I currently have my one LG TV hooked to my PC via DVI - HDMI and I have Audio(2 channel). I also have 3d enabled in the Desktop and can watch 2D movies converted to 3D at 30FPS using my Video player on the PC(set to nVidia 3D Ready Vision Monitor 120hz). The Desktop 3D Resolution is 1080P @ 60Hz. The 2D Resolution is also 1080P @ 60hz. However this is a 120Hz TV. Currently, I'm installing BF4 to see if I can get higher than 60FPS w/ Vsync enabled. I'll report back.

Ok, I figured out the EDID override. Got it working too! But only at 30FPS. The Refresh rate is at 60Hz but I can't get over 30 FPS in any application, Including the nVidia 3d test program. It doesn't matter if the PC is in 2D or 3D the FPS are locked at 30FPS. More research to do. But, for now my eyes are just wore out from testing all the different 3D configuations.
