WARNING: CD 1.23 inhibits GPU fan profile Can fry your card
2 / 2
So any of you're able to have your nV perf. tool automatic fan profile run under CD 1.23 ? Have you verified with an utility similar to GPU-Z and seen the fan speed ramp up as GPU temp changes ? Can you create any new profile? Or profile with new rules that retain its parameters after loaded?
Thanks for any data, I just want to make sure it's just my setup and that there is hope yet though the reality looks pretty dire because I have a feeling it's all robbing Peter to pay Paul cheapjack patchwork.

mine revs up fine. i'd been setting it to 100% manually through evga precision because i was running those removed drivers, but i havent been since i installed this latest ver.

Thanks for the data point.
Which System Performance tool version do you use?
Attached are the screencaps for the curious.
-before pic: In my "current setting" tab, the "save to profile" button is greyed out, no new rules can be added.
-after pic: Tried to save to an existing profile with new rules was futile, parameters didn't stick.
