3d vision not detrecting acer x1161 projector
hey guys i have an acer x1161 3d ready projector and have just purchased the 3d vision kit, i have installed all the required software and have run through the setup right up to the point where it tried to dectect to monitor, and to no avail i cannot get it to detect it so my 3d glasses dont seem to work at all, its has a dvi to vga cord going from the computer (dvi) to vga plug that is on the projector as it dosnt have a hdmi plug, only usb, vga, svideo and video in small round yellow plug. anyone have any ideas how to get it working or have i just wasted thousands of dollars???????

The 1161 isn't on NVidias supported list.
If you can't select Generic CRT, you're going to have to do one of the EDID hacks, I have no idea what's involved for that projector.
