Great news.

Shows how greedy Sony is for locking PS3 to HDMI 1.4 TVs.

5 dollars says the 360 version works with DLPs and doesn't need any crappy adapter which costs 400 dollars to show checkerboard or side to side.
Great news.

Well, unfortunately the Xbox 360 version will not work with 3D DLP TVs, only with newer 3D TVs that support Side by Side 3D video source.

If it does side to side, it can work on 3d vision and any format TV it supports. You need HDMI capture card and stereoscpic player can play it as a video on the fly to any format 3D vision supports...including checkerboard for DLPs, or projectors.

Hi

Like any business relationship, we cannot preannounce a software companies products for them. The game developer wants to control the timing and messaging of their product, and they did with their press release today.

Its kind of like this: would you want your best friend telling you that your wife won the lottery or do you want your wife to tell you? (Maybe a bad analogy, but it worked for me this morning)

disolitude, I'm talking about out of the box support. You will be able to use a 3D DLP TV with 3D Vision on PC for example.

Thanks.

Interesting, so it doesn't do checkerboard. However I'm sure one can use tridef player or 3D vision player and HDMI capture card to play the 360 version on a checkerboard display. Maybe even the PS3 version since it deosn't specify its locked to HDMI 1.4 and it uses over under...

Now if my "wife" would tell me SLI/3D works for FFXIV, I would be happy
