Early non-3D report:
Alright, with everything maxed and enabled at 1080p I get this in the benchmark. I didn't really see the nvidia effects in the benchmark though, so have to see how it holds up in normal gameplay. GTX970@1550MHz i7 4770K@4.3GHz
Played about an hour so far. 3d lighting, shadows etc broken. Also game seems to be locked at 30 fps. Get higher fps in benchmark but in-game getting constant 30 fps despite lowering settings, disabling sli, using sli, tri-sli and quad-sli. Thanks zig11727 for the compatability mode enable, does work, some good pop out also. Heavy motion blur which cannot be disabled in the game menu with minimal graphics options.

For uncapping fps go to "STEAM FOLDER\Batman Arkham Knight\BmGame\Config\" and open "BmSystemSettings.ini" file. Set "Max_FPS=30" 60 or higher.

Bummer it's not 3D Ready, but who's actually surprised? Says it will unlock in 4 hours on steam for me.

That 30fps lock seems to be there for a reason. Weird fps drops from 60 to 35-50, stutter and audio glitches(no matter the settings). Keeping the 30fps lock makes it somewhat playable but my early imperssions are that this one of the worst optimzed games ive ever played. Ac unity for example felt much better for me at launch and we all know how ppl feel towards that game and its launch. (gtx980 with game ready AK drivers, 2600k, 8gb 1600mhz ram, win 8.1 and 7 both tested) (dont trust benchmark, i had above 60fps there but much worse once in-game.)

I haven't tested it yet, but initial reports are not good. SubjectBucko confirmed 3D to be broken, I'm seeing multiple reports of a 30fps lock (that can be disabled, but causes issues for many), poor performance for AMD cards, no SLI scaling (despite new driver). I'm also seeing rumors of Denuvo DRM, though I'm yet to confirm this. I was going to refund anyway, but all this holds true it just solidifies the decision.

Well, that's a huge disappointment considering how good the last ones were in 3D. Rather than be 3D specific angst though, I'll make the observation that we now have seen how the game developers are going to approach PC gaming as a whole, and it's not good. Last few games have completely sucked on PC in general, not just in 3D. Read the boards for the latest games and not even SLI gets any support, which is absolutely necessary for any super high resolution gaming. The more worrying trend to me at the moment is that the new consoles have actually made the PC gaming problems much worse, and they continue with their nearly complete lack of interest in PC features. Except for throwing in absolutely worthless stuff like Hairworks as a way to pretend they care about PC.

Wow, look at the Steam store page. 37% positive reviews. PC version has serious issues, it seems. Great mass test of Steam's new refund policy. I'll still post impressions when I get home.

I'm also seeing reports that verifying the files will delete/redownload the whole game. So don't do that. "Who are you to question the integrity of our game? Fuck you, download it again!"

Honestly I thought it was going to be worse. Just fired up the game for a few minutes to see how it looked, and at least it works at a basic level which I haven't been able to say for many games of late. I mean it at least seems to stay in 3d. Shadows are broken, some effects and some haloing. But hopefully can be fixed without to much grief.

I've had more luck in CM with the Black Flag Profile: Setting ID_0x709adada = 0x37f58257 InternalSettingFlag=V0 EDIT: This has killed sli for me though...
