Help with 3D Vision problems Strange results in games after installing 3D Vision drivers
Okay, so here's my problem; If I install any drivers other than 197.75 for my GTX 470, my games don't work properly. Crysis (both of them) will load and basically everything is good up until it has loaded the map, then it dies. Half-Life 2, a whole bunch of weird things happen, basically 50% of the objects on the map (including the menu) will randomly scale in size up and down around a universal pivot. Don`t even get me started on portal, every time you shoot the gun, everything shrinks into the center of the map and expands back out again, following the recoil of the gun.
At first i thought it was just the 257.15 beta drivers to blame, because all my DirectX 11 games seemed fine, but it happens with the new official ones too (257.21). At first I thought it was the 3D vision drivers, but it doesn`t seem to be them because if I uninstall everything and run DricerCleaner, it still does it after a fresh install. Also when I disable SLI, it still does it. Here`s a description of my Rig:
Core i7 920 (D0 stepping) at 3.8 GHz
6 GB Corsair Dominator at 1550 MHz
Rampage II Extreme
GTX 470 x2 SLI not Overclocked
Corsair 1000 Watt PSU
x3 160 GB in RAID 0
x2 500 GB in RAID 1
Any Help would be greatly appreciated, I am about to goes crazy trying to figure out this problem!

Did you check if everything is running fine if you disable 3D vision? Is it just that game that is crashing or your windows freezes too?

Windows is absolutely fine, and apart from the three games i mentioned, all the others on the source engine do, too. I should probably add I had a GTX 285 with the 3D vision glasses in the exact same rig that worked absolutely fine for six months, problems arose when I got my 470s about a month ago. Also my OS is windows 7 64 and is completely up-to-date

Judging from your PC specs when you disabled SLI, you didnt take out first (upper) card?
Did you tried it with just second (lower in slot) card in system and it does same thing?
From what i can tell looks like one of the card is damaged and shows errors in only few games, it happens sometimes, so make sure you test both cards individually.

You hit it on the nose, the top card was defective, had nothing to do with the drivers at all, took the top card out, replaced it with the lower card and all is well. althought my crysis games still won't run at all, everything else does fine though.
