Hello, as you can see it in the title I have reached the 5 activations limit and I would like to know to who I must adress to have it reinitialized.
I've already send a private message to andrewf@nvidia but dont know if it was the right person to contact so I do it here too.
I've also send a bunch of message to service@store.nvidia.com already but didn't get at least one bit of response since two weeks!
Thank you in advance for any response and help I would get! Excuse any mistakes I could do with the language cause I'm french!
Looking into this now, Keep an eye on your email and spam folders possibly for a reply from the NVIDIA store soon.

Well, seems I am still stuck at the same point, the service just mailed me:
"Thank you for contacting the NVIDIA online store.
We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, we are unable to
assist you with technical support issues at the NVIDIA online store.
Please contact technical support at:

I already used the support page but it's the same, I didn't receive any response until now!
I just need to have my number of 5 activations of 3DTV Play reset to 0 that's all. If you need any information about the order or any other thing just mail me or ask it here.
It would be nice if someone could really help me since it's been two weeks I'am in this situation T_T

Hello,
Just wished to provide my inputs as I also had to deal with this today.
I purchased the 3DTV play back in April, and every time that I've done a video card driver update, the 3DTV Play was deactivated, and needed reactivation. I also tried to activate 3DTV play after doing a fresh install of Windows 8, only to hear from customer support that I've used up all of my activations (All previous activations on same OS and hardware).
I was able to call into customer support and get a one-time activation extension, but I wish to hear the outcome of your issue, as it may be relevant. I'd like to know if the next time that I want to upgrade my drivers, that I'll still have access to 3DTV Play.
Lightning366, do you have a similar issue, or did you do 5 separate reinstalls and just hit your limit?
-Jason

Are you using any 3rd party tools to clean out your registry during your driver upgrades? If so that may be the cause of this, Just updating the drivers with our installer will not kill 3DTV play on your system.
Im getting in contact with our store support now to get this resolved Lightning366

I just did 5 separates activations du to some hardware changes, crashes...(five is not enough when you don't know lol)
For me I wasn't able to call customer support cause I'm from France so the number don't work here.
You're case is strange, when you remove GC driver it doesn't desactivate 3DTV play normally except if you remove it at the same time as the driver.
I will keep you in touch no problem, and maybe you can ask Josh@NVIDIA (person who first respond me in this tread) he may help you!
Edit: Thank you very much Josh@NVIDIA and by the way what time is in your country (us or uk?) cause I am french and just want to know how many hours seprate us please (it will be easier to communicate)

Well Andrew Fear stated
Once you activate 3DTV Play the first time it will not count as a reactivation with every driver install as long as you dont uninstall the 3DTV Play Activation Utility. The Utility and drivers are separate.
So Buy it, activate it, and install drivers as much as you want.
If you run out of activations, we can restart it for you.
A one time activation extension, you gotta be kidding, they did not say that!!!! You know how many people use a program such as Drive Sweeper faithfully every single time they update their drivers due to the habit of having to do so out of necessity for so many years previously

Don't know how old this thread is, but, after not being abled to activate 3DTV Play, I've reinstalled it a few times to see if it would work out somehow. This was done before I found out there was a limitation on activations....ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Everytime I try to activate 3DTV Play I get an error saying the activation server is unavailable. I've paid $40 for this already and now the trial version is expired and I can't activate because the server is unavailable. Since you are saying that you can reset 3DTV Play, how will I be able to activate it afterwards?

That is correct, the activation servers are down and have been that way for several months.
3DTV Play has also been temporarily removed from the store until it is fixed.
The activations are limited to 5, but Nvidia will reset them if you contact customer service.
The current workaround is to use a longer trial version that they released.
I'll find the post and link it.
