The game renders really good, but there is an issue where the image randomly flickers sometimes a few seconds apart. I tested it with the two images for each eye and both flicker randomly. Will try to find a solution for this and I'm open for ideas :).
Interesting. Flicker like showing a "ghost frame" or like one frame is shown "up-side-down" ?
If you are running the game in fullscreen, try to set it in Window Mode and see if you see the same...
Somebody else reported this a while ago, yet I wasn't able to reproduce it...:(
I tried in window mode, also tried with all the possible in game settings but it still occurs .It seems more like the frame is changing position, more like the "up-side-down" frame. I will post a video after work to show it.

Both of them are not gamebrakers but it would be nice not to have them.
Really weird thing there...
I'll look and see if I can identify why that happens. It looks like a failed Framebuffer blit there...
However, it might also be due to the 3D Vision driver in some way.... If you Disable 3D Vision (CTRL+T) you should get a Side-By-Side image. Do you see the same thing in SBS mode?
(Trying to understand if is my wrapper or the driver the cause...)

Hello there, i develop software myself and i know how hard it is to provide bug free stuff, but please let my give some feedback which i hope will not hurt your feelings.
First i really appreciate your work on this wrapper BUT
.. Man your accent is so bad and the audio of your videos is so poor that i dont understand every second word. Then the whole thing is way to complicating for the everage user. Then, there is no .nip file as explained in one video, then the .ini from the latest release is totally different to the explanations in the video. How should the everage user manage a proper and first of all EASY install. I myself threw the wrapper against the wall after messing around with it for 2 days. Please dont get me wrong, but for example https://sites.google.com/site/ourenthusiasmsasham/technical/stereodisplay or http://users.ininet.hu/geri/TitaniumGL/index.html these wrappers just need to be thrown in the app folder AND THATS it.
Simplifying the wrapper install would be a great great help for gamers like you and me (and may grandma too).
I found the videos contained much to much infos thich the gamer never needs, like said the audio was extremely poor and confusing too.
How about a simple text documentation like: throw this there and copy those files here, and thats ist, or programm an intaller, shouldnt be to hard for a genius like you ;-)

Thanks;) Sadly it will take some while till I will get around to tackle this in the wrapper as I am a bit busy currently with my work and limited on my free time:( But, once I will be able to get around it I will investigate and hopefully I will find what the issue is;)
Thanks for confirmation!

I Remember fiddling with Neverwinter nights when this thread was still young. IIRC with some wrapper the 3D glasses would turn on, but no separate images would have been produced for each eye.
Now 81 pages later i have to admit i'm too lazy to read it all, so my question would be: Did something improve for NWN? See NWN2 is off the list, and seeing as they share the same Engine (or at least an earlier version), might i get some improved results with NWN 1, too?
So in any case, just wanted to let you know, here's one 3D Vision user still playing that old game, and i'd be willing to test some stuff and give feedback if that would be welcomed.
cheers.
Edit: sorry man, i should have checked first. OMG, it works. The convergence you guy use is way too high for my liking (this being on a laptop), but this of course i got working.
It looks like the wrapper is currently limited to 720p, is this correct? the game doesn't render when i change the setting to 1080.
also, when i close the game my desktop is set to 720, too.
but otherwise, wow, such an old game, flawless (if you ignore screen depth UI) 3D vision. thanks alot.
What are the chances of an upgrade for higher resolutions, btw?
edit2: oh, if i change the setting outside the game, in the ini directly, it works!!!! one final tiny question: if i lower the convergence to the min, what hex value would that be, or asked differently: how do i find the hex value of the convergence i'm currently using?
edit3: i've only ever used paypal by clicking on a link somewhere. how would i go about it using just your e-mail address? (edit 4: found it. Thank you alot)

Hello Gruftlord, youre not the only one who is into NWN. I came to this wrapper through my search on a good NWN wrapper. you might try the first of the links i have provided in my last posting. That wrapper enables 3d Vision on NWN 1, but i couldnt get further then to the menu screen. (screen stays black, only golden mouse cursor visible). The wrapper log keeps logging gldSwapBuffers: HDC=25010CDE does not match HDC=AC010C2E for HGLRC=1 at that point (on my PC, you may have more luck. Try it !

I'd like to mirror this slightly, but frame it in a different way/tone.
I, too, tried to use this wrapper to fix a game (Hyperdimenion Neptunia Re:Birth 1... don't judge :P), and I found myself facing the same confusions/challenges due to the documentation provided seemingly being outdated (I had no issue with Helifax's accent, though). I tried a whole bunch of settings in the settings file for the wrapper, and I eventually managed to get far enough for 3DVision to kick in, but not separating the image (actually, I think it may have only been drawing the image in one eye... or I can't remember exactly because it was a couple months ago). I then saw some mention of ARB in the log, and figured that might be the culprit and just dropped it, but I never was 100% certain if that was the case, or if I missed something.
Anyway, my question/request is whether there's any possibility of getting some updated documentation on using your wrapper to reflect the latest version? Maybe not necessarily videos, which I'm sure are time consuming to make (and unfortunately have the effect of becoming obsolete when changes are made), but just some text written stuff would be fine... but if video is more to your preference and/or easier, then by all means I found your videos helpful, other than the fact they were no longer applicable.
Another question is how likely is it that this will be able to be adapted to work with the upcoming DOOM? (I have a feeling that's probably a big NO, or "we don't know until it's out")

uh, so maybe i came across unclear after than many edits. I totally got it working with the current Helifax wrapper and was able to successfully play in glorious 3D Vision on an Alienware 17 with Win 10. I wasn't using the "full version" but only the NWN specific download which came preconfigured for NWN.
Very few issues remain, from what i can tell:
- Resolution can't be changed in-game. If i do, i end up with a black screen. Was able to modify the game's ini in a text editor though and could then play in 1080p.
- when closing the game while not running at native resolution, the desktop does keep the game's resolution, and i manually need to reset it in the control panel.
- as mentioned in the readme, convergence is super high, needed to lower it using the nvidia short-cuts (which worked without issue after activating them in the control panel). Need to save the convergence setting using F7, since i didn't know what value my setting was, so i could have put it into the wrapper ini (not a bug, but would have been useful for switching between different computers)
- UI renders as screen depth
- sky domes and specular shine on gold in chests render at slightly wrong depth.
Everything else works perfect once convergence and resolution are set up for your rig. Spells like entangle or the little sparks when weapons hit a shield look so much more lively in 3D, it's awesome.

Sorry for my SHIETTY accent my American/English self-centred friend. Try learn a couple of other languages yourself and speak them. I hope every person who you will talk to will tell you HOW SHIETTY YOU ARE AT THAT:)
(Bet you only know one language... so go plough yourself DUDE).
AS OF TODAY, I will not fix any bugs or answer any questions in this thread. You can't figure it out by yourself then "I'm sorry" and don't really care!
No more public releases of the wrapper will be made. If I make a FIX and if I see fit I will release it, if not...
(After all, I started this for me and thought to share it with others just for others to appreciate and be able to play the game). With comments like above... is best I will keep my work for me...less complications and LESS ingrates coming here with comments like that...
But hey man, "Don't take it the wrong way !" Well.... go... yourself some more!
Edit: I bet you are a web/java so-called "developer"... so no developer at all... STOP thinking you are writing software... With comments like those "that is too hard" ...
You don't like my videos, DON'T LOOK AT THEM!!!
You don't like my software, DON'T USE IT!!!
PLAIN AS SIMPLE!
I also challenge you to do 1/10th of what I did and then release it public so we can bash you on your "Accent or how hard is to use it"... Unbelievable!
ALSO NEVERWINTER NIGHTS HAS A FIX RELEASED
YOU JUST NEED TO SEARCH! But, I bet this is too hard for you as well....
Here is the link to it:

Are you referring to the unreleased 2016 DOOM reboot (did you test it on the closed beta?), or Doom3?

I tried in window mode, also tried with all the possible in game settings but it still occurs .It seems more like the frame is changing position, more like the "up-side-down" frame. I will post a video after work to show it.

Thanks;) Sadly it will take some while till I will get around to tackle this in the wrapper as I am a bit busy currently with my work and limited on my free time:( But, once I will be able to get around it I will investigate and hopefully I will find what the issue is;)
Thanks for confirmation!
