Normally the human 3D vision is possible because we have two eyes, and we make a convergence movement of both to focus different objects in different depths. Then, we can focus one object in a room and see perfectly, while all other objects are doubled an blurred if we don´t move the eyes (all we know this, more doubled and blurred while more distance to the focused point). It is impossible to focus all objects at the same time.
With this "two monitors and mirror" system, I´m not sure, but "is this possible to see different depths"?. Or only we have two separates images that seem to cause some 3D sensation?. This system make possible to see two separate images, but the images are identical (image flipped+image mirrored=the original image for the eye directed to the mirror, so we have two identical images to each eye).
In our life, our eyes doesn´t see the same image when we see, because they are located in differet position in our head, and each one see the reality with a little change in perspective (so each eye see different movie). And this is because Nvidia has make his Stereo Driver... to emulate these different perspectives (with more or less accert). Shutter glasses+Nvida driver make possible to separate these two perspectives, and give each eye a different movie, emulating the different perspectives with some difficults.

I don´t know too much about dualview, but I thought that only one monitor can render a game, and the only way to render in the two monitors is selecting "cloning monitors" in the Nvidia driver (so the two monitors render exactly the same thing, with exactly the same resolution and refresh rates). But how the stereo driver is informed that our objetive is to send only one stereo image per monitor?.

as for 3d driver for this setup - it works in identical way that other setups - stereo driver make 2 shifted pictures each for one eye, and that pictures can be displayed in one screeen (shutter glasses, interleaving shutter glasses), 2screens(dual view, some HMDs).
Dual view isnt cloning, its extra space on extra monitor, and stereo driver use it in described way.
Dont know another way to reverse screen, there is one software way - via keystone, but is slows down system, and doesnt work in games, forget it,
Hardware ways - one described woth opening of CRT monitor (little risky but used 21inch CRTs are very cheap) and convertor that works on VGA cable-between monitor and grapic card, maybe someone can do it????????

Yes, using the little mirror in the glasses must destroy the 3D with a little head movement (it´s not a good idea).
I have a 19" tft monitor, and I will buy another 19 tft monitor as soon as Nvidia will solve this PROBLEM (I hope they will do soon, I think it must be not very difficult to do using the driver).
It is not my intention to buy a crt monitor (different from my LCD) and open to modify the poles... I´ve never touched the interior of a monitor, and you loose any garanty at the moment (and you can loose more important things, like your life).
But may be a better mirror solution than using a big mirror between the two monitors.

Well, it wasn´t my intention to make any plagio... I only saw this design but with two big mirrors behind the head and with too much separation.
But if you have experience that we lost the 3D with a very little movement ... (it´s what I thought). I don´t know about mirror types, and I´ve not done any experiment. I don´t know what kind of mirrors are the best... there are mirrors that magnifies images, and playing with those things (I don´t know what can be done)... would be great to have the two images close to eyes like virtual reality headsets, but without their cons. Cristal near eye = big image and more inmersion. May be the solution to fix these 4 mirrors in the desktop and forget the glasses?.
But I´m not talking about any new 3D solution, because I have no solution and only a suggestion to study, just done by other people... the solution is done by now, using only one mirror like you say. I only write about if there is a better solution to magnify the images and make more confortable the experience.

hi, this setting (vrex interlaced) makes interlaced 3D mode in 3D nvidia accelerated programs/games etc. As far i know, Its only way to use ed glasses at LCD monitor. To turn it on, install latest stereo drivers and there is simplified way to use it, just go to 3D config window and choose it.
i guess you'r using ED software, ok, for me only 1/10 games worked properly on it, thats why i described a way to use this glasses in interlaced mode ONLY with nvidia drivers, now works 95% of games.
Show all viewer types registry key was used for older drivers that didnt display all viewer types :D

Then, we can focus one object in a room and see perfectly, while all other objects are doubled an blurred if we don´t move the eyes (all we know this, more doubled and blurred while more distance to the focused point). It is impossible to focus all objects at the same time.
With this "two monitors and mirror" system, I´m not sure, but "is this possible to see different depths"?. Or only we have two separates images that seem to cause some 3D sensation?. This system make possible to see two separate images, but the images are identical (image flipped+image mirrored=the original image for the eye directed to the mirror, so we have two identical images to each eye).
In our life, our eyes doesn´t see the same image when we see, because they are located in differet position in our head, and each one see the reality with a little change in perspective (so each eye see different movie). And this is because Nvidia has make his Stereo Driver... to emulate these different perspectives (with more or less accert). But how the stereo driver is informed that our objetive is to send only one stereo image per monitor?.

I have a 19" tft monitor, and I will buy another 19 tft monitor as soon as Nvidia will solve this PROBLEM (I hope they will do soon, I think it must be not very difficult to do using the driver).
It is not my intention to buy a crt monitor (different from my LCD) and open to modify the poles... I´ve never touched the interior of a monitor, and you loose any garanty at the moment (and you can loose more important things, like your life).
But may be a better mirror solution than using a big mirror between the two monitors.
