World of Warcraft used to work flawlessly, now unplayable in 3D
Wow used to be perfect but I'm not sure if it was a blizzard patch or nvidia driver that messed it up. There's no way to completly converge the ui anymore. The hotbars don't line up so you can't see what's on cooldown and the character portraits and all the menus don't line up. If you turn the 3d to the lowest settings it comes close but still not completely an it used to be fine.

I tried messing with the settings both through the 3d vision advanced menu and the wow menu, and I tried it with addons disabled and enabled but can't get it looking right. If you change the settings in the wow menu it lines up for a second but then when you do anything at all, it breaks again.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix it? I spend a lot of time in wow and I have to disable 3dvision so I feel like it's being completely wasted.
USE THE 3D VISION BETA DRIVER CDV1.12 DRIVER ONLY ONLY THIS DRIVER CAN GIVE Y REAL 3d.

I HAVE TEST IT WITH MY TALES OF VALOR ONLY THIS OLD DIRVER CAN GIVE U REAL 3D AND SET IT TO dx9.

ONLY DX9 IN MY TALES OF VALOR CAN GIVE ME REAL 3d OHTER HAVER CONVERGENCY PROBLEM.

Yes. A bug was filed by myself back when I first inquired on this forum for additional details and after our software team looked into the bug and tested with different driver versions, it appears to be caused by the game itself. We have been working with Blizzard and a patch should be released from Blizzard to address this issue. We do not have an ETA for the release date of the next WoW patch at this time

This is great news. I hope it comes soon. This is one of my fav games. Just so its clear which full cd set works perfect with wow now? I have the 1.20 but still have problems, should i use an older driver?

Thanks a lot for the update, ManuelG. I wonder if/when we could get an ETA on the patch? Even a ballpark would be amazing.

The next six to eight weeks should see the next patch. The reason is that Starcraft II is out and is using the Battlenet Chat feature which is also intrgrated into the next patch.

Will see what happens then ;)

Great... except the new drivers broke support for Starcraft 2 (the irony is that they say they ADD support when in fact they take it away), which now has no 3d depth at all (used to work fine before the new drivers)

So yeah, i guess we will see...

Do you have the final version? I figured only beta versions would be available at the moment. The added support might be in reference to the final version.

OK, how can it be in reference to the final version if it's in beta? the beta is the latest version.

Thanks for the reply, looking forward to it.
so it seems it was indeed a blizzard's problem to fix.
lets stay put and wait.
its good to see someone from inside nvidia actually cares.

because i dont think anyone else here cares about the alt+tab problems... i mean come on man, who cares about that, you can fix it by alt+T or move the sliders a bit.

the main purpose of the fix is to be able to move the depth sliders away from the lower settings, without UI scramble and without ghosting 3d images/models or shortcut cooldown shadow problems.

correct me if i m wrong guys, but isnt this the main wow PROBLEM ?
feel free to add yours if needed.

Agreed.

Please fix issue which causes cooldowns, map icons etc to break when you add convergence. 3D is poor quality as it is now.
