Good to have instructions for the injection mode of Special K. I always use it locally with the dll file there.
In this game, cutscenes are locked to 30fps, by the way. But gameplay is very GPU and CPU demanding. Especially torture attacks.
For some reason, my game will not launch when I try to use SpecialK. Does anyone else have this problem? I am not really sure how to fix it, and as far as I can tell I have done nothing different from the guides.
*EDIT* I got it working. Turns out I'm just an idiot and didn't use the latest version of Special K.

Using the injection version of HeliXmod also fixes the annoying red 'attempting to run' message...
1) delete d3d9.dll
2) copy over helixmod.dll/launcher.exe
3) add DefModuleName=Bayonetta.exe under the [General] section in the DX9Settings.ini
...and then just run helixmodlauncher.exe prior to running Bayonetta to enable the fix
