So a 3D Vision CPU Bottleneck fix will make make 3D 1440P and 3D 4K performance on our 1080/Titan GPUs more attainable right??

It's been 1.5 months. I'm afraid it'll be just like Double Fine's patch for The Cave. They promised 60fps patch, then they kept saying they will do it, but are way too busy with other things, and eventually years passed, and nothing came out.

Hi guys, I have a bit news. I checked in with the warm Ray of sunshine @ NVidia, and he had this to say: Hi Shahzad, I didn't see any update on the bug so I email the development manager. As mentioned previously other higher priority bugs have been causing some delay on the investigation ... I know I sound like a broken record but I can only convey update from the development manager. Thank you for your patience. Best regards, Ray So, it looks like it is potentially still happening. Hopefully they will concentrate on driver bugs/improvements; and not game specific 3D Vision performance just for GTA5 (I don't think many of us even play it any more). Indeed it might keep slipping, but at least there is hope that we have not been forgotten about :)

Thanks for the info ! I still doubt this is for real, and not just "bla bla bla", but i rly hope they are investigating this huge problem.

I think they fixed it with the new drivers guys! It's listed like this in the new drivers notes: [3DVision]: CPU bottleneck occurs when 3DVision is enabled. [1823627] http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=5447718&postcount=3

If it's real then great news for us. Downloading and will test it shortly. Thanks for the heads up.

I ran the benchmark on Grand Theft Auto 5 with the new drivers (384.76) and the results are the same. Is there benchmark I can check to see if this driver improves the CPU problem ?

Jumped immediately ingame (BF1) to test and unfortunately I think someone played a bad joke on us. As soon as I activate 3Dvision CPU usage drops. Of course I made sure not to have GPU bottleneck.

I ran GTA V and no difference for me too unfortunately. Don't know if CPU bottleneck effects it, but also tried AC Black Flag and it still has low GPU usage at 4K. BTW test system is in my signature. Edit: Only different thing with this driver for me is it restarted pc two times with clean install option. As you know normally it doesn't require restart with clean install or very rarely one restart. Maybe it's only related to my system.
