Whats the story with this are they changing this shadow shader every patch or is it getting regenerated with a different hash?
What was the Hash of your shadows Oblit? am curious about this.

it is like the clouds in FFXIV they are more then likely only changed CRC Files as that can happen..
That is why I asked you to Hunt for them as they will be fixed when I enter the code it is just the developers for some wierd reason like to switch things around..
Now while the only thing changed this time so far was minimal sometimes they can do major changes and that is why most shaderhackers don't like doing MMO's..

I ask because, it seems to work for some and not for others, so I was wondering if you guys CRC's are being generated different to mine, like its a per install thing.
I guess I will just confirm for my self.
*edit*
Nevermind, as of your latest version it's fixed. Looking good at this point, although I haven't gone into a cave yet =)
cheers

Well caves are not perfect but at this point as best as I can get them.. I will continue to try and disable the shadows in the caves not sure why so many things are tied to that one shader file..

wasn't really a shadow problem, it was just very dark and the lantern didn't seem to work. For the most part it looks good, just some lighting effects look slightly out of place and I seem to have clouds at the wrong depth in the day time.
Any chance of using high end mode or does that introduce too many unfixable shadow problems?

Great thanks alot for your work on this, I actually have started to enjoy the game quite a bit and without your work I probably wouldn't have bothered.
Feel the game is best played on about mid depth and I've tied the convergeance settings to seperation levels in the ini and it looks alot nicer than 2d thats for certain. With convergeance just right the ground issue is almost unnoticible.

[quote="The_Nephilim"]Well I am glad you are enjoying playing BD in 3D it is really cool looking game..
IF you notice any thing Please let me know..

I'm really enjoying this game so much more with 3D Vision. I hope it stays fix. If not I may have to learn how to shader hunt and attempt to fix it.
Thanks again for the fix Nephilim!
@The ShaderHacker Masters,
I have been reading up on how to fix Shadows and I seen the thread DJ_RK Made and saw a Post by DSS.
Now besides what he says there is there any other guidance I can get on fixing shadows besides looking at other fixes for shadows??
here is the thread DSS talks about how to go about fixing shadows:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/766890/3d-vision/bo3bs-school-for-shaderhackers/post/4715553/#4715553
I will try and look at more shaderhacker fixes of shadows but I been gaining a better understadning of these sorts of fixes..

this is not working above try this link??

there is the new PS I found for Shadows.. I am also going to repost the link to DSS Page on where he talks about shadows and fixing them:

I would appreciate some guidance on this so I will read those threads again to gain a better understanding but what he said there makes alot of sence. just need to sort out the code anf figure out what mode I am in..
