Ghost Recon Wildlands (Closed BETA): 3D is quite good in low quality

For Compatibility mode you only need to assign a Profile that works Assassins creed syndicate or Far cry 4 maybe works. For switching to CM mode or back to real 3d mode press ctrl alt f11.

Why Nvidia marked to "Good" this game?! Real 3D is wrong and unplayable!

This is actually one of the few games, where Compatibility mode is prefered, because it looks very close to the real deal, and you get so much more fps without a single effect broken or disabled :) Take a look here: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1077594/3d-vision/perfect-cm-games-topic-/1/

And must say results are much better on a big projector screen. 3D depth is really low on monitors but on the projector it's quite good. My theory is that Nvidia based 3D depth for compatibility mode on a static monitor size while for proper 3D the display size is taken into account. It seems similar to 3D movies - 3D depth is really low on 3D monitors whilte it's noticeably higher on projector screens. Unfortunately 3D depth hacks don't work with CM.

Also don't I need to have 3DMigoto installed in order to use alternate outputs like TaB? (actually, do alternate outputs work with CM? I tried TaB in another game but one of the images is always messed up. might just be the profiles I tried though, not sure) I will remove 3DMigoto for Wildlands, but do I set Nividia to 3DTVPlay and then am I limited to 720/60 or 1080/24 like regular 3DTVPlay 3D - or are there no limitations when using CM? I have a passive LG TV, but 99% of the time am using TaB through 3Dmigoto with Nvidia set to Checkboard to play in any resolution I want. a Few DX9 games I use 3DTVplay for, in that case I am limited to 720p. Sorry for the questions, but I have read through 3 different guides on how to set up Compatibility Mode....but some of the basics like resolution are never discussed for us late comers. I was hoping to compare it to 3Dsuperdepth which I got working with Wildlands and some other games. thanks!

So I got this working in CM, but it looks pretty rough with the blur and 720p/60 limitations. I take it there is no way to get around the 720p restriction unless I use an EDID override? I might just stick with superdepth3d reshade as it has less haloing/blur. sucks that ubisoft engines don't play well with true 3D, because their games would REALLY be 1000x better with it!

I'm pretty sure that in terms of outuput restrictions, CM follows exactly the same rules as 3dtplay/3d vision/checkerboard. So it sounds like there's no point using CM with this game? You might as well use superdepth 3d with SBS or OU output? I thought superdepth supports that? It might even support interlaced output, I haven't used it for a long time.

Hi I am introducing my son to 3d vision and I cannot get 3d to kick in Ghost Recon: Wildlands. I am completely stumped as to the reason why. Using 4k Passive 3d, drivers 430.86 with 3d driver installed via 3d Fix manager. running in fullscreen. I tried reinstalling the game which made no difference. Any ideas please?
