Great! Thanks for doing that test.
As near as I can tell at present both wrappers perform the same, which is what we'd expect based on the code. There are a lot of variants though, so if anyone sees examples where they diverge, we'd be interested in taking a look.

Nvidia has developed a new tool...Frame Capture Analysis Tool (FCAT)
Perhaps it can be used for comparisons and troubleshooting as well. An article at anandtech stated....
"In their conversation AMD laid out their argument for a change in benchmarking. A rationale for why benchmarking should move from using tools like FRAPS that can see the start of the rendering pipeline, and towards other tools and methods that can see the end of the rendering pipeline. And AMD was not alone in this; NVIDIA too has shown concern about tools like FRAPS, and has wanted to see testing methodologies evolve."

Oh yeah, I'd love to be able to do FCAT analysis on these things, especially with SLI, but FCAT requires a $1500 card and another computer to capture the data. I already have another computer, but can't justify the $1500 for what it provides over simpler stuff like built-in benchmarks or the Fraps.
Nobody ever does 3D FCAT analysis though, and I'd really be interested what sort of changes are introduced by the 3D driver.

Ahh, I thought it was something available to GTX owners. :(
I just saw it while reading an article at Guru3D.
EDIT: A link to the PDF for those interested in more information. I had no idea it required a second rig and a specialized graphics card.

Strange,
started to play today and after a view minutes the game crashed. Now i wont be able to get it kick in 3D correctly again ^^ HÖÖ?? Whats up ??
Could it be that the wrapper did make nonsense if origin is in OFFLINE Mode? .. There are login Problems or ServerDowns @ Origin atm

Will wait and see! Now I am really curios about this patch hehehe

If I look at that screenshot I see something a bit off...nothing major though....
Funny thing is I play the game in Surround and I don't see this problem..lol.... I am wondering if is not one of those single screen, SLI, profile thingy... hmmm

It`s actually strange because i don`t see it and i play with same settings as you on one screen. Althou i remember having this occasionally when i was using Shader Cache set to On.
Also there is a heated air effect in this area but it would be weird to see it on the night.
