What program is working with asus rog swift to watch 3d movies on pc?
Ok, first of all, I had hellish time making 3d working with asus rog swift. I spent 3 days, trying everything to make 3d work on asus rog swift because I was seeing both shape in hardware test even after removing display driver with ddu and etc. Anyway, long story, short, it suddenly started working right today. It passed hardware test and I tried crisis 3 to see if 3d works good on gameplay and it did work perfect. My problem now is that program like powerdvd 14 ultra, windvd 11 won't detect my monitor as 3d. It detects my monitor as anaglyph and it won't let me change it to 3d vision ready monitor. I did some research on it on google and it looks like I wasn't the only one having this problem. I suppose powerdvd 14 ultra or windvd 11 won't work with this monitor because they say it works with 3d ready monitor connected with hdmi 1.4 cable. But since asus rog swift isn't using hdmi cable and it doesn't have hdmi port at all, It won't work with these programs. Is there any other programs that I can use on this monitor to watch 3d movies beside horrible nvidia 3d player that has no functions whatsoever?

The 3D Vision player can be updated for file playback, no 3D Blu-ray disc support. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/541352/?comment=3790839 Software wise for disc playback, your only other option is WinDVD Pro from Corel. Arcsoft Total Media Center no longer sells playback software, supposedly because of licensing issues with Dolby. PowerDVD 13 Ultra works with my VG27HE. I'm unsure about 14 Ultra, but my best guess would be to try earlier drivers, some of the newer ones caused issues with Cyberlink. When you say ROG Swift, do you mean the PG278Q? Because in your sig, it shows the VG278H? Anyways, if it's the PG278Q, you'll probably want to check out this thread. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/785823/3d-vision/9-series-sli-3d-not-working-at-all-asus-rog-swift-pg278q-/

Check the HDCP tab in the NVCP just to make sure that is not a problem. Are you trying to play discs or files? I have zero experience how 3D Vision reacts via Display Port. But, PowerDVD should give you an option for Auto Select or 3D Vision. You may have to drop your resolution down to 1080P. Try disabling SLI, perhaps. Also 3D playback with PowerDVD requires that you use Fullscreen, it should prompt you though. You should also mention your OS and driver version. Keep in mind that you will not be able to use drivers older than when the 970/ ROG Swift launched

I did try everything. PowerDVD says contents or device does not support this mode sign when I try to set it manually on my display port. If I set it auto, it detect display anaglyph. And of course HDCP tab is checked green on NVCP. I had zero problem with asus vg278h with dual dvi cable when I used powerdvd but now, it won't let me play any 3d content and gives me above message. :(
