"Will PS4 games be in 3d?"
"We do have plans to support 3d content, and we'll have more news coming soon"

The thing is though, this is an official Sony video. I see no reason why they wouldn't change the wording of the question from "3d games" to "3d content" if that was the case.

I've only played Shadow of The Colossus in 3d on PS3, but that had pretty good customisation. Either way, more developers and gamers supporting 3d is a positive for us.

Ditto.
While I've purchased a number of faky3D games for my PS3 and a few decent ones (the "Prince of Persia" HD-3D remakes were fairly good) I look forward to seeing what the PS4 developers are able to come up with.
(3DVision+Tridef Media center, 3D Laptop, 3DS, 3DBloggie, 3D Picture frame and even a imported HTC EVO-3D GSM (works on Tmobile). Yes I support 3D.)

Hardware was the only thing holding back 3D on the PS3, which usually meant lower resolutions and frame rates for dual rendered games (I'd rather not even count reprojection 3D games as 3D). There's no reason the PS4 shouldn't do excellent 3D.
Prince of Persia HD trilogy was great, my first 3D game.
Shadow of the Colossus, I bought my 3D projector because the thought of how good this game would be in 3D made it impossible to pass up. And it was that good!
Uncharted 3, solid.
And others. The bottom line is my positive 3D experience on the PS3 is the reason I got a PC and Nvidia card. The PS3 showed me that 3D games are great (not that I had much doubt). On a technical level, the best games were 3D remakes of older ones because they were a better match for the hardware. Certainly the hardware limited the number of good 3D games.
But lift that limitation, and Sony would be stupid not to make more 3D games. More people happen to have 3D TVs now that a year or two ago, and with a more powerful machine there won't be obvious drawbacks vs 2D. That said, there's no rule that companies can't be stupid, so I still have to hope.

Well tech. if they are doing 1080P @ near 60 hz. 720P @ 60hz should be likely.
I have no idea if CPU is good enough though, even if its not 60hz. 50hz would still be good.
I mean who knows, I thought it did bad on PS3 but maybe I am just thinking bad 3D. They did make 2 devices/displays "advertised" for PS3 3D.

I could never get the depth higher enough, even on a 65" screen. I tried the whole lying to the PS3 and saying it was an 11" screen but ultimately it didn't change anything.
I played a lot of them and really liked them but that was before I built a 3D gaming rig. Shadow of the Colossus still looks good, although it seems to dynamically change what seems like convergence at certain camera angle and it's not a smooth transition at all. If you can deal with the lower depth most, if not all, of the 3D/HD remakes are really good because you get better resolution out of them.
Crysis 2, which I though was great when I originally played, hurt my eyes it was so bad ...
Silent Hill: Downpour (360), although it's fake 3D still looked pretty good except for the cutscenes. They added DOF blur to the cutscenes therefore around the background halos you'd get a slight sliver of blur from the subject. ie light face>dark background halo>light face blur. Oh a few things rendered at the wrong depth, like a window being mich further in than it should ... the crosshair, I swear it's coming out if the screen, there's two but the R one is viewed by the L eye and vice versa, it's only about a half inch on my 65" screen but it's still very odd.
The best, 3D-wise, game I've played on PS3/360 was Avatar: The Game, it let you select the type of output. So I was able to run checkerboard straight into my TV and not have to use my Mitsubishi 3D adapter. Plus you set your screen size, viewing distance, and 3D 'intensity' ... it's the closest one to 3D Vision that I've played. It really hits that virtual sweet spot and gives you that sense of realism ... oh and you get a dynamic crosshair. :)
I just really hope if they do 3D they unleash the games and settings ... but I highly doubt they will because little Johnny might go blind. That and backward compatibility ... they should sell their own emulator already, PS4 playing PS2 games in 3D ... that'd work for me. :)
