Yes, in addition to the reflections there is also a blur effect that is a little bit off from the corner of one's eye. As described earlier sun/moon reflections and this blur effect works fine out of the box but reflections of the landscape are broken. Unfortunately fixing these reflections breaks the other effects so that they have to be refixed again. So fixing some effects can result in broken other effects. In the end it is a compromise. Unless a real experienced shader hacker will have a look at it. Or You choose installation option 1 in https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/627896/3d-vision/elder-scrolls-online-3d-vision-compatibility/post/5254468/#5254468 and turn off reflections.

If anyone wants to use this MOD with their Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, I made a quick video tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZN2oa3lLGA&t=1s

Awesome video, you should also post it in the VR sub-forums. BTW, there's an app on the helixblog that will lock the Nvidia registry after applying changes, plus it does a lot more stuff. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2015/10/advanced-3d-vision-configuration.html

I see, big thanks for fixing the issue ;-)

Of course the Sommerset patch broke a lot of the fixed shaders :( Expecting this I used ESO Plus the last month and played intensivly ESO with the DLCs before the Sommerset patch. So I'm "satured" with ESO now and not very motivated to play ESO atm. Besides from the 3D fix the patch also broke many of my addons and the changes in gameplay ruined the skill rotations I was used to. So I want to pause the game for a while... I can only offer a small fix for the clouds/skybox that is too close. Extract this file into the shaderfixes folder: https://s3.amazonaws.com/3d4dd/ESO+extract+into+shaderfixes.zip You also have to change the water reflection quality to "off". As reflections are disabled anyway I recommend to use the fix option "1. Reflections of objects disabled" as described here: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/627896/3d-vision/elder-scrolls-online-3d-vision-compatibility/post/5254468/#5254468 Don't forget to install (again) the addendum (https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/627896/3d-vision/elder-scrolls-online-3d-vision-compatibility/post/5290601/#5290601). Unfortunately I don't understand how the original shader hackers fixed the reflections. As reflections are completely broken now I fear that I could not fix them even if I had the time and motivation. My specular glow fix will only work partially. The HUD is OK, also the shadows as far I could see. So the game might still be playable with some (minor) issues. Feel free to report the issues You observe. This can help for possible future fixes. But please understand that I don't plan to make an update of the fix the next days or weeks.

I have made a hotfix for the Summerset patch. But don't get too excited ;) I have spent "only" two days for the fix and checked it on two locations with different weather conditions. Then I scanned the shader cache for shaders with (very) similar patterns like the one I have fixed and also changed the code for them - hoping that other locations and conditions will be fixed by this way, too. This worked with my earlier hotfixes so I hope it also works with the Summerset patch. But be aware that You will likely discover remaining issues. Besides from this my updated fix for water reflections won't be better than it was before. So You will still see the (minor) issues as before under certain viewing anlges and distances to the water surface. To get my updated fix to work I also had to disable a code with the comment "The following two lines fixes personal shadows". Otherwise all the water reflections would be completely black. So far I could not observe issues with "personal shadows" but maybe we can observe them under certain conditions... I also updated my workaround to reduce the specular glow on shiny surfaces using the hotkey "z". I used the same shader scanning method like the reflection fix so there may be several surfaces that still are not fixed. I would like to call the fix a "work in progress" but as mentioned above I don't play ESO atm. So I can't promise to discover new issues by playing myself the next time. As my ESO plus ran out and I don't have the Summerset addon I can't check the maps for the DLCs and Summerset. So there may be several issues in these areas I can't observe and fix atm. Feel free to report if You discover issues. A screenshot and information about the daytime, weather conditions and exact position are necessary to reproduce the issue and fix it (later). Installation: This is only an addendum so You need the earlier versions and addendums of the fix already installed! Download this zip archive: https://s3.amazonaws.com/3d4dd/ESO+Summerset+Addendum.zip Extract the content of the zip archive into the already existing shader fixes folder in the game installation directory. When You are asked if You want to replace already existing files (e.g. 1adcb844240a19b0-ps_replace.txt) then select YES! You also have to edit the existing file d3dx.ini: Change the code
[ShaderOverrideWater1] ;VS hash code of the Water Hash=4deb7a7bd4d114c6
to
[ShaderOverrideWater1] ;VS hash code of the Water Hash=a91bb1acb6f504d5
and
[ShaderOverrideWater4] ;VS hash code of the Water Hash=62e56a7db0add64e
to
[ShaderOverrideWater4] ;VS hash code of the Water Hash=e076ca945e2a6425
In the graphic settings of the game set reflections to high. I hope it works ;) Out of curiosity: the reason why all the water reflections shader got broken by the patch was additional code refering to something like a "shoreline" and "waves". But so far I could not see any difference to the original shoreline even when playing with disabled 3D fix and in 2D. As before no breakers so the ocean's coastline still looks like the water's edge of a puddle :( When I compare this to the fantastic breakers in Hellblade... Is this different for the Summerset locations (causing additional issues?)?

Just discovered that I had one day of ESP plus left. So I could fix 4 more shaders (sky in Clockwork City, extremly shiny surfaces in Hew's bane and Wrothgar). Just download the zip archive again and extract it into the shader fixes folder. When You are asked if You want to replace already existing files then select yes.

Hi, thank you ) i'm confused... something is rly wrong. the fix doesn't seem to work properly anymore. reflections, shadows and even hud now broken. I tried to reinstall the fix twice step by step (as i did every time and it was always working fine) but it does not help. I tried to install the previous version of the fix - no luck. I thought the latest (250Mb) patch broke it but u are saying it is ok.. is it ?

I have played ESO 1h ago and everything was fine for me. Did the fix and addendum ever work for You after the Summerset patch from 5/21?

yes, of course. But it does not now. First i thought it was the updated fix, or the latest patch for the client, but i tried to install the previous fix - shadows are incorrect, hud keys are not working, water and surface reflections are broken
