Difference between nVidia discover glasses and nVidia 3D myopia-general glasses
Hi All, I want play games/movies in 3D on my non-3D LED 60hz monitor. I have GTX660 graphic card. I like to buy nVIDIA 3D vision discover glasses. (rectangle ones) but I am not able find them on internet. All I find is the nvidia discovery myopia-general glasses. Nvidia says that the first one is customized and improved for better 3D but no information abt the second. Please tell me is there any difference between the two?? If the second one is just like paper red/cyan glasses then I should skip them. Thank you.

There is no real diffrence as far as i can tell, I orderred these 2 of ebay (both 1 week delivery to Europe): http://www.ebay.com/itm/170921167664?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/300651656459?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 1 being modelled after the vision1 and and the second after the Vision 2 to work with my GTX770. Both work fine, although i like the design of the first 1 one more in this case (sits closer to the eye)

The ones I shared are indeed very similair, the designs are the only diffrence and are based of the Nvidia Vision 1 and 2 glasses. The one you share should work to, as do most red/blue glasses. the optimalization (changes) Nvidia has done to the colours are minimum, and ghosting is there wetter you use the official Discovery glasses or random red/blue. It seems to depend mostly on the game; -Crysis 2 felt like it gave the best 3d effect with red /blue of the games if tried. -Trine 1/2 also works very, altho it can be very dark. And one last thing, although its a nice feature preview, its no where near comparible with the shutterglasses and a compatible screen.
