Are Acer G245HQtbid 3D vision ready?
Hi there
Im looking for a screen to play games in 3D on, and i found that this screen of acer, was the cheapest i could find. Is it compatible with Nvidia 3D vision? If yes, then do i need any other gear, to experience the 3D performance? Like glasses, etc. I have an OC nvidia Geforce GTX 460 graphic card, can it run games like WoW in 3D? In advance thanks.

Yes, it is but there are much, much better 3d vision displays at a very similar price. The 3d vision experience isn't very good compared to more recent displays. I would go with the Planar or the LG 120hz 3d vision displays.

Thanks for the replies, but both the Acer, Planar, and the LG is way more expensive than the older Acer. And i dont want to use like 500$ on this monitor. My limit is between; 300-350$. Do any of you guys, here at nvidia, have any suggestions?

Really? From what I hear the planar has better color accuracy out of the box.

I forgot to add, that I'm from Denmark, and most of the monitors you refer to is either too expensive or not avaible in Denmark. I could'nt even find the G45HQtbid in Denmark, I found it in Sweden... :(

EDIT: The acer cost like £277.99, and thats way over what i want to pay.....

What about http://www.edbpriser.dk/Product/Details.aspx?q=2233rz&sp=all&pid=5343524 ? Is that also compatible?

EDIT: Sorry for the danish site, but the product is AOC e2795Vh, and its about 190$ or so.

Well I actually didn't see the Planar..

But I compared my new Acer with the Xl2370 led monitor from Samsung and my old Sammy 2233....
The Acer had exactly the same color production as the Xl2370 with less backlight bleeding, and it had way better color production compared to the 2233...

I can't believe a (non led backlight panel like the Planar can give better color production then these led screens...
So much difference between led backlicht and CCFL backlight...
