Hmmm, for some reason the aurora's still look too close to me. I added the following files to my meshes/sky folder from version .3:

da05bloodmoon.nif
skyrimauroragb.nif
sovngardesky.nif

Pic with new files:

Awesome - those files worked great.

Once again, I can't thank you enough for all the work you have done for us 3D Vision users with this game.

Oh, use this link for download: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=789

I think the link you are posting is your personal managed files which we can't get to.

Cheers!

Wow that's a lot of separation. Feel like I'm almost cross-eyed and took a bit for it to focus. But it seems like the moon is at the wrong depth? Seems to be same depth as the trees almost. Sorry have not kept up with the Skyrim 3D problems, so not sure if this is a known issue or not.

Yes, the moons appear to be some cheap 2D pic. If those can't be fixed, they can be removed from the game with the optional texture files that are available also.

Sorry, I forgot to post my high depth disclaimer. I have been 3D gaming for almost 10 years now and play with 150+ depth. It really adds to the immersion once you get used to it.

150+ Depth? How can you go so far? I think I'm ready to take that leap now after my mere 18 months 3D visioning. How is it possible Arioch?

Oh, and thanks Dorkirt for your countless hours fixing these problems with the stars etc for us all to enjoy /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

An instant classic of a mod Dorkirt! It's so cool. I failed miserably in the meantime in getting water fixed. Neither texture replacing nor ini changes helped: this game just loves its water transparency and defends it against all intrusions it seems :).

Of shader hacking I know even less, I fear.

How do you view that image in 3d? Nvidia's photo viewer doesn't seem to want to work properly.

I finished in the same dead end as you Bobarr. The water properties are in shaders001.fxp "WaterParams.ps_3_0.Microsoft (R) HLSL Shader Compiler 9.27.952.3022". We need decompile, edit and recompile, or someone skilled enought to find the magic spot with hex edit. I will try another thing tomorrow....

Yeah Im no hacker like you guys, but even just looking at the water in the game you can tell its got some crazy shader happening. It seems like depending on where the water is placed, it uses a special shader to fake refraction. Maybe the water uses special textures, its not really refracting the texture underneath, but calling in a special texture to be used for the fake refracting. I saw this when I look at some water in a brick aqueduct, it didnt look like the water was refracting what was underneath, but just a copy of the texture. Anyways, like I say, I dont kow this stuff but maybe my obsverations will help?? Anyways, you guys are doing awesome, I havent tried your mod yet but intend to tonight!

Same as usual for me, just click on it, open with photoviewer, ctrl-V to fullscreen it. There's a LOT of separation though, so you may need to give your eyes some time to adjust (maybe up to 30s), or even move back a bit away from your screen. If all else fails, maybe try to swap eye views?

The water is fine on the surface, its only when you are looking at objects partially submerged they look a bit funky, they aren't rendering correctly in both eyes. It is fine if you go under the water, and look at water with nothing around it, but the edges of lakes, or wooden supports on walkways etc, when submerged, look all wrong =(
