This option also does not work for me in Vista 64. Clicking the button does nothing. However, in Vista 32 an options box comes up with the various different laser sight designs that I can select from, so it seems like either an OS issue or a driver issue because my Vista 64 has been installed for a while but my Vista 32 was a clean install just so I could test the differences in 3D vision between 32-bit and 64-bit.

Hi

I spoke to our lead engr last night and I believe we have isolated the issue just to Vista 64-bit. Vista 32-bit doesn't have the problem.

Sorry to the Vista 64-bit users, we are working on a fix.

I guess this wasn't fixed in the 1.07 package? :\

It never was fixed. Seems like 3d vision support is basically dead on arrival.

Please Nvidia fix this for VISTA x64 users, why are we forced to buy x64 operating systems for DX10 graphics to be enabled, did no one bother to check this or are these isolated cases of Vista x64 users?

Seems like 3d vision is already abandoned. I'm gotta vote on this - forget driver updates - what you currently see is what you get. Minus a couple capcom games using an old engine already confirmed to work well using 3d vision. Whoopee!

I'll withhold judgment for a while on this. They did just fairly recently come out with new drivers not long ago that fixed some major issues, but some of that may have been in the works before feedback disappeared from NVidia on this forum. I'll see what happens over the next 2-3 months on stuff that should be relatively easy to fix that continues to get ignored or not. And of course ongoing new game support.

Nvidia, please fix this. I'm sure it's a trivial change.

Just bought the 3D Vision kit and am very happy but as others have said what are you DOING OVERE THERE, all this talk about your relationship with devlopers and NO profiles for new games and problem in Vista 64, have can you not be aware of a simple thing like crosshair doesent work in X64 ?
And I am a Vista 64 user since long way back and this is just to bad from your side nVidia!

I really hope for your own sake that you back it up with your talk, you do the talk then you better do the walk simpe as that :D
I know it's new technology but you better be fast with new profiles for games and iron out all this kinks that IMO should have been long gone before you even launched 3D Vision!

Are you running 64 bit? Are you playing any new releases? (ie Wolverine)

It wouldn't surprise me that when Resident Evil 5 is released there wont be a profile available for at least a month after release.

Sorry, just a little frustrated.

1+ even then RE5 are said to be 3D Vision ready, I love nVidias products but as many think this smells like a stinker. they damn better show us the money or else it wont be pretty for them!
BTW this dude Crimson, any chance his hired from nVidia ;)

But dont get me wrong im absolutely love this tech nVidia put out, it is so good when it works words cant describe. to finaly play in 3D is total perfection so never 2D anymore for me. I just hope that they do
their very best job with profiles and so. and if one think what a great job nVidia have done on SLI and heck everything they do one should feel pretty safe that it all will go down well.
One have to take a step back and think that this is new tech so problem will occur but it feels so frustative to wait LOL.

So anyway my hat off to nVidia, this is the absolut best IMO we have given the choise to play around with so best off luck and keep up the good work guys :)
