anyone managed to get this working in vista 64? I've tried every plugin for 1964 and project 64 that I could find, and while pageflipping does work and the glasses do start shuttering, there is no 3d effect. There is only the single image on the screen (viewed without glasses)

in another thread, another member mentioned that he managed to get Castelvania to work in 3D in N64 emulator.
But I tried have tried Castelvania, Zelda series...etc on the N64 with 3D vision, and everything is flat as usual...so I am guessing a nono?
Seems that way. The same problem happens when I try to play certain games - HAWX, Cryostasis and Unreal Tournament come to mind. The shutters activate, but there is no separation at all.

This could be an Anti Aliasing problem. Try turning off Anti Aliasing from inside the Nvidia Control Panel. In certain games I have played Anti Aliasing messes up 3d emulation

It was probably me who mentioned playing n64 Castlevania using Project64.
I was using winXP Home Edition w/ SP3 on a 3600 AMD 64x2 with a GeForce 7800GTX and
old-style E-D shutterglasses. I had to choose the DX8 plugin since the DX6 one didn't work for 3d.
Normally DX6 does work for me.
I don't have vista or 3d-vision so I'm afraid I can't really help you guys unless you can get iZ3D's driver
to work with your setup. What I'm saying is that both drivers worked for me in my setup. If nvidia's
don't work for you, try iZ3D's. Maybe someone else can help you with getting that to work.
One more clue... It didn't work for me at first, then later it did. What did I do inbetween? Well, a few
things I don't really remember, but one thing was to reinstall DX9 from Microsoft's website. I think
it was their November 2009 version.
So the only other thing I can suggest is to keep an old XP computer just for older 3d games. Are there
100's to choose from? I still have a win98 computer and can run games in s3d all the way back to DX5.
They are not all good of course but at least you have a good chance at fixing the HUD (making it 2d).
Outwars is good if you like jet-pack-soldiering games. But I understand that old games like that are only
for people who can stand the way-outdated graphics. I also understand that not everybody can afford
the space to have a big old CRT monitor lying around just for old s3d games, but the glasses and dongle
are only $30 on ebay (just checked).
Good luck with whatever course you choose to pursue.
Oh yeah, before I start s3d I have to switch to fullscreen via Alt-Enter or a menu option, but then I'll bet
you already knew that.
Yeah I also got Project64 working with iZ3D. At first I thought it was because iZ3D supports OpenGL but with OpenGL disabled the games still worked. All I needed was Mudlord's Rice Video Plugin Build 6.1.3 DX9. Another really good plugin is N-Rage's Direct Input v2 1.80a. It allows you to simulate the analog with the mouse, so you can change games like 007 or Perfect Dark into the feel of a normal PC FPS. You can make right click the aim button and also make it change the movement to absolute instead of limited and with toggle settings so that as soon as you let go the movement is limited again, works great. As far as getting Nvidia to work with Project64, I haven't seen it done yet. If you guys figure out how to get Nvidia to work with PJ64 I would really like to know how because it might be the solution to getting Nvidia to work with post processing games like GTA SA with ENB mod, or Crysis. This would be a solution for a lot of people trying to get Nvidia to work with these games. For now most of us just use the iZ3D, and it can be defective with post processing games every now and then as well. Gimme a pm if ya figure it out, wait that almost sounded sexual =/.
