@TheBigDogma curious how you got it working. I've assigned the hellblade exes to the Mafia III profile in inspector without luck. Also tried creating a new helixmod profile. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

NP - just make sure the exe that you have assigned is the one found in the Win64 folder and that you have set the game to run in full-scree through the game's graphics option... that should do it for you.

@TheBigDogma -- perfect! Thank you. I had also set it in 3D Manager. Once I removed that, all was good. Getting a little ghosting, but otherwise, it's great. Many thanks.

Just finished the game for the first time (took me 12h)- and definitevly not the last time! This game is really outstanding regarding story, gameplay-mixture and also graphics. I had no issue with the fullscreen mode (Win 7 64bit, single monitor, 1080p). I used the profile for Assassins Creed Unity for CM which offers acceptable 3D (as there are anyway many visual distortions the CM-halos do not feel too strange ;) ). I recommend to add the following lines in the file Engine.ini (folder C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\HellbladeGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor)
[/Script/Engine.LocalPlayer] AspectRatioAxisConstraint=AspectRatio_MaintainYFOV
The camera then has more distance to the character, allows higher convergence in CM and offers better overview during fights. Nevertheless it would be so great if the game could be played in real 3D. Good to know that our shader-hackers have a look at it :) BTW the game has no slots for save games. So I have made copies of the autosave-file HellbladeSave_0.sav every time it changed (folder C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\HellbladeGame\Saved\SaveGames). So I could help to test a 3D-fix in different locations...

Quick update: Yesterday take a quick look...and have to solve an issue using some tweaks (old school tricks), otherwise the screen is a completly blurry mess, totally unplayable (no shader or profile can fix that). But now is all good to start fixing... Also tweaking the engine i found a solution to use Post Processing = Epic in this engine without issues. I fix shadows and found 1 pattern for lights change the constant buffer #, so i need to track the correct one (i don't have headers, so probably need to use Frame Analysis)...also noticed that light shafts are completly new in this game (New pattern)... i will start playing/fixing today night.
Big thanks DHR for looking into it! I don't really have the time to look into it atm, but if I can be of help please let me know and I will try my best! ;)
Thanks!...if i need help i will let you know.

@DHR: Interesting! What settings did you find in order to still be able to use Post Process on Very High? From my testing, that is the setting that screws a lot of things;)

@helifax Basically is the motion blur and the Temporal AA that the game use. About the fix, i will need some help from DSS, i can't fix the light shafts (very important in this game) and another pattern for lights. Devs change a few thing in the engine and without headers this will be very difficult to fix.

As an Enslaved fan currently downloading with excitement, both official and user reviews are very good as expected. Good luck with the fix DHR.

Played until the second gate and it was just beautiful, even with Power 3D (Tridef's CM) it looks pretty, with real S3D it will be awesome. I'm trying to control myself to not play it until the fix is ready, damn it's hard. :) Game is around 40-50 fps generally at 4K, but playing in borderless screen may be the reason or game is really hungry. Fullscreen is problematic for now, you can change resolution, but it doesn't actually apply it, resets to 1080p. Developers are working on a patch, I guess they are aware of the issue. @Helifax, Ninja Theory gave this e-mail adress in Steam forums: support@hellblade.com

Ninja Theory seems very interested in making Hellblade the best it can be from an artistic standpoint. I've been following the dev diary since they started it and I think they would be more than willing to take advice from or work with our talented shader hackers in the interest of making it as visually stunning of an experience as possible. They use binaural audio to add to the immersion and to great effect, but as we all know nothing adds to the immersion like proper stereo 3d. Didn't Nixxes reach out to Helifax about the ROTTR fix and then implement some of the fixes at some point? I know its a long shot but of all the devs around these days, Ninja Theory seem to really care about doing things differently and just may be receptive to some collaboration with the community.

Yes, both me and DSS were in contact with Nixxes regarding Rise of the Tomb Raider and we tried to help them out about what we've done in our fix:) I have also contacted Ninja Theory regarding 3D Vision:) We will see if they decide to pursue this:) In the mean-time I am rooting for DHR and his fix:) Cheers, Helifax

I already fix one type of shadows/lights and others effects... and also tweak the engine to fix the blurry s**t that is all over the screen (motion blur and the temporal AA). But there are 2 shaders, that are not the "normal" shaders used in UE4: one is for some kind of lights that produce a particular shadow and the other is the light shafts (this one have to be present and fixed). I send a PM to DSS to help me with those shaders, he have a way to extract the headers of UE4 shaders, that will be very helpfull and he use Frame Analysis way better than I....Be patience with this fix, this game will be fixed....but not right now.

I just purchased Agents of Mayhem so I can wait in peace for both Hellblade and Observer 3DV fixes (both are extraordinary games, but Observer is my choice for Indie Game of the Year). For anyone interested, AoM is kinda Saints Row 5 but not actually, more like a spinoff. Not great but enjoyable fun game. Uses the same engine with SR series so probably 3DV support will be unlikely and also has similar performance issues. Tridef has S3D profile for both SR3 and SR4 (with shadows disabled), so probably this will work too. AoM is cheaper at GamersGate than Steam currently (18% discount, last day).
