Please don`t post any information about DX12 version.
We won`t be starting new topic for this game just to cover new DX11 ver.
DX12 version had lots of problems and still have them but this isn`t the case right now so it would be great if we all move on.
Btw: Did anybody try to work out CM profile ?
I just tried the Assassin's Creed 4 SP profile and it works but it needs more depth.
Oh boy! another game..... really i need more free time.
I already buy the game.....but i need to clean a little bit my hard drive to download (i don't have enough free space)....i don't know but i have a lot of games installed...LOL

I tried some CM profiles. ACIII looks good first. But there is a strong halo around the character. Also are some effects created halos... I guess the best solution for this game would be native 3D. Actually I prefer 2d over CM at the momemt.

Got it sorted, all ready now. Let me know if you need help with the family sharing, the method has changed slightly (there's a note in the document).

Although this article is about 2D, I thought it was worth sharing.

If you already mentioned visuals I will add something to it. I don`t know which effect is responsible for it but this game look life like on DX12. The lightning in laboratories is just a blast. Everything looks like recorded with personal camera - clean and natural.
This is not the case on DX11 which still looks great but not as close to real thing from DX12.
Still you can`t be closer to real thing without 3D. I`ll take that CM 3D over DX12 any day. Really glad to be back in this game. Still hoping for someone to give it a try and make a fix for full 3D.

Still the dsogaming article and video said "Given the fact that there are no visual differences between the DX11 and the DX12 versions, Quantum Break also proves that most current DX12 games are nothing special. In theory DX12 can benefit a lot of PC games, especially during CPU-heavy scenarios. However, most current DX12 games are not actually taking advantage of its capabilities, resulting in underwhelming performance.
" and frame rate is up 30% with dx11

I've downloaded the game and I'm not getting 3D kicking in at all on it's own. Tried switching to MP3 & AC4 profiles and that didn't work. Also, when trying to launch with 3DMigoto I get an immediate crash. Attaching the log file in case bo3b can take a look.
mrorange, how did you get your game to load in 3D? I'm wondering if it's because I'm on Windows 10, I'll try switching over to Windows 7 when I got more time to test.

With AC3 profile 3D cM is on, just be sure to activate exclusive full screen in option.
Problem I have is max resolution option menu gives to me is 1400 x 900... WTF?
edit : 4k resolution solved after relaunched it.
But like Skaut said it looks definitly not as beautiful than in win store DX12 version... but it runs 2 times better ;)

Dammit, I somehow missed that. Even did a Google search about activating exclusive fullscreen on the game in case it was a launch option. Enabling that got 3D to kick in, and now I feel like a bit of an idiot (although, to be fair, I was in a rush to leave when I was looking at all this stuff earlier).
Also, I tracked down the 3DMigoto crash is related to doing a full HLSL dump of the shaders, so by disabling that I'm able to get the game to load with 3DMigoto, and dump shaders manually, so that's good, but not having an HLSL dump will hinder my workflow quite a bit, so hopefully this can be sorted out.
Some more good news is that the shaders do have all the shader header info intact, and a wide range of matrices exist, which basically gives us the tools we need to do the fixing.
As for the not so good part, it does look like the lighting is being handled by a combination of regular vertex and pixel shaders, but it also looks like they are then calling computer shaders, which could make things tricky. Also, I see reference to "tiles" in the shader header resources, which could be referring to tile lighting, which to my knowledge is probably one of the most challenging things when it comes down to fixing.
So that's my brief report for the moment. Again, I would really like it if I could get a full HLSL dump before I get started, otherwise I'll have to work on ASM shaders which would just plainly sucks balls, so really hoping that's not the case.
