Alien Breed: Impact Demo looks great in 3D. For the most part.
Hey, I've just downloaded the Alien Breed: Impact Demo from Steam, and after a couple of minutes tweaking the settings I managed to get it looking brilliant in 3D.

For the most part, that is - the cutscenes are completely screwed up like that, but they don't seem to come very often so it's alright. There are also a couple of issues with shadows, but for the most part they look fine as well.

So yeah, all in all this is a brilliant 3D game.

Using the max depth hack posted in the topic posted on this forum, I had it set to about 50% depth (so I guess that'd be 100% normally).

Then I just increased the convergence until the crosshair wasn't doubled anymore. That seemed to work pretty well.

I'm not sure I agree with you all about this game looking great. It suffers the same flaws as any unreal 3 engine game. (fog effects wrong, shadows, and fire). I tried without dynamic shadows and post processing, but with them gone, the game loses some of its beauty.

Whole collection is on Humble Bundle for $6 with Worms Collection and Superfrog. So Amiga fans will feel like sentimental. Anyway Alien Breed looks great after switching Dynamic Shadows off and maximising Convergence.
