I'm sure there's some people that are interested but still holding off until the last week/few days, 'cautiously' waiting for updates and seeing where this is going ... plus some of the tiers seem a little out of whack, $10 for a patch and 25x that for any patches that might possibly get released in the future ... sure it'd only take 20 people to make that happen but I don't think most people have that kind of money to burn on a sure thing let alone a might. Although, I'm sure most of those $10/$15/$25 patch/+donations contributions would be $50 if they included all future patches and that would only take 100 people ... but on the flip side that would also cut into any future funding for patches and if we can't even manage to get 500 people to donate at least $10 on this one ...

I can't believe there are less than 100 of us, let alone 500. I thank everyone that has put up the big $$ for this. I'd donate more, but I just bought my first home and money is super tight. I'll try and throw in another $25 next payday.
In all honesty I'd just about given up on 3d vision. Tomb raider was great, but bitter sweet because I thought it may be one of the last good dx11 s3d games. I was really bored one day so I decided to check in on this forum for the first time in months. I was surprised and happy to see this thread! At this point I wish the wrapper devs would have set this up so they would get whatever was donated even if they didn't reach the $5000. I'd hate for them to do all that work and not receive compensation.

Though it's probably good as it adds incentive to contribute. It almost makes it feel much safer: not many people would want to donate if their money was going to get taken regardless of the project's success.

I agree that at this point they should take what is there and release it anyway. Even though it hasn't reached the goal (yet), i'm impressed that this small community has raised more than $3000 already, with only 79 funders.

Don't give up too soon. This forum, and all 3D forums actually, are a pretty small slice of the active 3D gamer population.
Most of my personal friends never participate in any forums because of the overwhelming dreck you generally find there. When I read a forum off finance.yahoo.com it makes me think the human race is surely doomed.
This indigogo, like all campaigns, needs publicity. Forum posts are pretty low quality and low traffic information source for publicity.
If you/anyone want to help, contact people directly and suggest they talk about it as an interesting news story. Contact that Edge magazine, PC Gamer, MaximumPC. Contact big tech websites like TomsHardware, but not in the forums, contact their editorial people.
Go on Facebook, and Twitter. I'm an old fogey and those things drive me insane, but if someone doesn't mind, going on those social sites is where you get more traction.

Every time when i try to buy some extra glasses or new monitor on eBay someone is paying a lot more then i try to go for - that means to me like there is a lot more new players jumping on board.
Maybe there is still place where we can reach to them - some of them might be not interested but will pass this info to others.

Guys got to relax, its literally at the half way date today and 6/10 the way there. Not to mention for first few weeks alot of people were uncertain it was real. Relax, try to spread the news. Being negative won't help.

Good call, I will make one today
I've already donated (a little) and will donate more once my next paycheck arrives, but I have to agree with some people here that the so called "perks" could have been thought out a little better and hence people would be donating bigger amounts, because almost all the perks (beside the 250 and 500 dollar ones) promise you pretty much the same thing. I know the patch is supposed to be released to the public, but many may think that they'll only get future patches for more games if they donate 250 dollars or more and the people who donate less will only get the Bioshock Infinite patch once it's ready. This is not a stab to the Indigomod team in any way as I think what they're trying to accomplish is very admirable and I'm very thankful that they're doing it, but with better thought out "perks" I believe they would have raised more money than they have done so far (which is still a very good amount considering the amount of people that have donated), as people who are thinking of getting into 3D PC gaming might donate if they knew they'd be getting not only the patch for Bioshock Infinite, but also the possible future patches by just donating even a little and not 250 bucks or more. Even I (who have only donated 10 bucks so far, but will donate more later) don't know if I'm only going to get the Bioshock Infinite patch or if I'll also be getting patches for other games if/when they get released. Of course I'm aware that there's not much to give when it comes to the perks at this time, but maybe if they promised to give all patches (even the future ones) to everyone who donated, they'd have gotten a lot more people to donate, and the people with more money who want to support this sort of thing would donate bigger amounts, no matter what the perk is, because all we really want is for this mod to succeed and for it to be available to everyone. But these are just my thoughts and I may be totally wrong.

The Indigomod team has surely been putting most of their brain power to solving the massive programming puzzle that is a DX11 wrapper. The marketing of the indiegogo campaign is likely a relative afterthought, as we should hope.
I too think the goal was set too high, and barring some last minute big donations, it's mostly finished. It doesn't matter that they're three fifths of the way to their goal with half of the time remaining. The fact is most people who would consider donating to this kind of thing find the campaign early and donate early. The data on the Indiegogo page bears this out. If you look at the "Funders" tab, look at the huge amount of donations in the first 3 days. Compare it to the most recent 3 days.
I hope I'm wrong of course. I donated.
Regardless, I don't think they should have to spend a lot of time and effort on marketing this. We want to donate to the fix, not to advertising for it or for a marketing team to expertly promote it. The important thing for us is to be prepared to repeat our pledge if the team finds they have to restart the funding campaign with some minor adjustments to the parameters.
