Hey all, long time since i have made a post here. Tonight i went back to the mmo rift since it went free to play i decided to try out it again in 3D and for some reason it looks better then when i tried it out before. I dunno if they made a update or what but everything is in the 3D. The only thing that isnt is the mouse. Can we get a helix fix for this?

MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-M68MT-S2 CPU: AMD FX 4100 RAM: 8GB 1600HZ DDR3 HDD: 1TB WD (MASTER) 500GB WD (SLAVE) GRAPHICS: GTX750SC MONITOR: ASUS VG248QE 3D VISION KIT 2
Hardware mouses cant be resolved no matter what. 95% of games dont use software and MMO's definetly do not.
Name tags look strange, is it just picture?
Also, it may be settings based why it looked worse before [Maybe they lowered the recommended/minimum for F2P]. Are you running at maxed?

I think they got bigger concerns, like keeping its players tbh. Pretty inflated mmo market nowadays.
nvidia inspector -> profiles -> Rift -> remove app from current profile -> rift.exe
NVIDIA TITAN X (Pascal), Intel Core i7-6900K, Win 10 Pro,
ASUS ROG Rampage V Edition 10, G.Skill RipJaws V 4x 8GB DDR4-3200 CL14-14-14-34,
ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q, ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q, Acer Predator XB280HK, BenQ W710ST
I tried the profile fix, which makes it proper 3D now, but its still pretty broken in a lot of places. Even on minimum settings a lot of lighting effects get split up further and further as you increase depth and convergence.
3D looks perfectly fine in the low quality renderer, but the game looks too horrible and dull :-(
Its a real shame because it looks great on Tridef, but the FPS is terrible.

For shits and giggles. Turn off sli if you have on. Maybe its in my brain since I just had to deal with it recently[Serious Sam 3 BFE]. I asked him his settings because I found it odd that some people said it was broken completely. So I would not be surprised.

To be fair, several MMOs absolutely do have software mouse as an option. WoW, Final Fantasy, Warhammer etc all have it. In fact, I'd say most of the MMOs I've played have software mouse as an option.

Wow/guild wars 2 offers it for 3D I do know that.
Warhammer Online definitely doesn't. I wanted to try to mod it at one point when I first started and even though I was fairly certain I double checked. If Final Fantasy does, I apologize. Thats abit of a shocker, I don't see the reasoning behind it. It really doesnt work well for alot of individuals especially when lag occurs[which is huge in mmo's]. Its a strange development decision.
I still stand behind 95% of games. I still don't think its as many mmo's as you think though. Its probably still around 95% don't. Maybe I'll sign up for XIV and see if I can figure out dynamic mouse.

I tried FF14 with 3D Vision and its broken beyond repair. Also it makes game almost unplayable FPS wise on high settings (check my PC below)
