Works for me. Cursor for aiming is doubled just like I'd expect. It even follows the depth, varies depending upon what I aim at.
I seem to vaguely remember there is some setting that makes this break, like MSAA or something.
Sounds like their is definitely something really wrong there.
You are not playing in surround are you?
For me the reticle is perfect, on a single screen but it displaced in surround mode which is a real shame since I really wanted to play this in surround.

The reticule is messed up for me in surround, but I really haven't done anything to see if i can make it work better. I just look past it and use the bullet trails for aim, or just temporarily switch to 2D when using the sniper zoom.
But the game is flawless for me otherwise and im stoked to be able to finally enjoy this game.

Yes, I'm playing in surround, Is there an issue with that? I must have missed it if so. Also MSAA is off. I will try again tonight in 1920x1080 and see. Thanks.

One thing you can do with a messed up cursor, is look at where you want to shoot, and aim directly between the "two" reticules you see. It's far from ideal, but you adjust pretty quickly.

Yeah I've been doing that, and it's not ideal, it's mildly amusing actually trying to line it up properly but it adds a degree of difficulty on top of normal aiming. I've read back in the thread a bit again and found others with the same issue, so I guess it's a surround thing. Hopefully it works on one monitor as there doesn't seem to be a work around I can find online.

Yes, there is an issue in surround...
I stopped playing in surround because of this very reason. It's not a factor running on a single screen.
There will not be a hell of a lot of 3d surround users trying to play this game, so I doubt it was even tested.
It's broken, I think only option is switch it to ironsights mode.

Had a really quick shot at it this morning before work. Seemed to fix the targeting problem but introduced double ghosting which was not mitigated by adjust convergence through nvidia shortcuts, didn't get to play with the in game slider yet though. But thanks, one problem solved (sorta).

Not sure how bad your ghosting is, but I do get it as well, I've just learned to ignore it.

GTA V is a very complex game so measuring the frame rate of the game alone doesn't really tell you how smooth the game is. It took me some time to find out this game is one that has too many parameters that make it hard to gauge what settings are best. I have condensed it down to two factors when looking at the benchmark logs in the Rockstar documents folder.
I've found the higher settings do indeed impact the framerate much and in some cases having a higher resolution can have better gameplay but to a point though. Using DSR negatively affects the amount of lag being seen on the screen measured by frame time ms.
All of you measuring the game by framerate alone driving around will not good a good measure of how the game plays. Also take into account the frame time. I aim for about 30 ms to 55 ms at the 99th percentile in all benchmarks for 3D. If you can get those with lower graphic settings but keep the resolution high, your gameplay will be excellent in my opinion and you will still have the benefit of the higher resolution.
The game is very playable for me now, when I don't need to look at the framerate all the time and know that those frame times in the 99th percentile is what I really need to look at.
In fact now, sometimes the frame rate will display 30fps, but when I have 42 ms frametime, the game is so smooth I really won't even notice the framerate.

Not sure if this is forgivable, but I have had GTAV since launch & only just tried it in 3d yesterday- Wow, just wow!
Had no idea I had overlooked a masterpiece.
Only issue I'm having is, the gpu usage in 3D is terrible. I'm avg 30fps and gpu usage on both cards 45-50%; sli 980tis, 4930k @ 4.8ghz.i have tried turning settings down but that just drops the usage even further so therefore no net benefit.
It's likely a cpu bottleneck, but has anyone had any luck increasing frames/gpu usage through a certain setting or diff sli bit perhaps?

There's extensive discussion of performance in this thread, have a read through (I didn't have performance issues, so I don't know the best solutions off the top of my head).

Hey, for the blue colors on passive TV, I just found in Tomb Raider that tripe buffer memory mades the colors blue problem, not double buffer memory. It's worth trying it in GTA 5 ;)
