I ended up purchasing this solely because of this fix. I tried it and was really impressed with the ingenuity. Great work.
I wonder, is this technique transferable to fix other 2D games such as "Darkest Dungeon" and "Pillars of Eternity"?
I do not suppose that some tricks could be used to make SouthPark Stick of Truth work in 3D, it's dx9.
Just for the hell of it, I played a little using the 2D-3D conversion on my LG Passive TV, it actually looked fairly decent, considering :P
I tried a few different profiles, several gave me 2 images, but at infinite parallel, so no 3D. (angrybots/back to the future)
It uses the same engine that's in Dungeon Seige 3 (Obsidians Onyx Engine)
I cant wait for GOG to come out with their new client which unifies the launchers I probably will stop buying games on steam for easier rollbacks.
