You're welcome everyone. Thanks for the patience on this release and I do apologize for some unnecessary delays. I hope it turns out to have been worth the wait.
That really sad thing is that this fix is mostly the same as it was... (man, I've lost track of time on how long I started working on this) what, 4, 6, maybe even 8-10 months ago? I'm just such a perfectionist that I refused to move forward until I managed to fix the remaining broken lighting/specular reflections (which I'm sure most will agree, isn't game breaking, but when it's there it's significantly noticeable).
I would keep revisiting it every month or two. The really annoying part is that I eventually tracked down what I'm 99% certain is the correct place that a fix needs to be made, but everything I tried didn't work (with it being a compute shader made my options rather limited). I asked here for help, and got some suggestions, but nothing provided was what I needed.
After finally getting fed up with myself for not finishing what I started that left me no choice but to just press forward, I figured out the simple workaround for the flickering shadows issue (although I had hoped to not have to resort to such a crude solution), finished the game and since there were no other major issues I felt it was finally time to release. Again, there's always hope that I may one day find or be given the answer to that additional issue, but by then will any of us really be willing to play through the game again just for that? It's a great game and all, but probably not. Which, again was why I was so stubborn to try to wait until it was fixed before releasing. Again, I'm too much of a damn perfectionist! lol

Very nice DJ-RK!!
This is another game that i have in my backlog and never played...Thanks!!!!
For the reflections, you can look the Crysis 3 shaders...DSS help me with those in that game, probably is the same shader.

Hmmm, you're right that the water reflection shader that I tried fixing is nearly the same as one of the fixed reflection shaders in Crysis 3. I implemented a simpler fix of my own that is correct, but it only snaps into place from certain angles. I just tried the same fix as the Crysis 3 shader, and it seems to have the same behaviour. Any chance you remember running into that problem?

Wowwww looks beautiful, these guys are legends! Thank you!
I havent played this game, usually with the little time I have I favor the ones in 3D.
Thats great, I think this will be the next game i will play!
Just one question, when i enter the palace the shadows look a bit weird, is that normal in this place?

@DJ-RK
The fix for reflections was not perfect...when you look down the reflections break. If you get the same results, leave that way....in Crysis 3 don't look that bad.
Also i have the same issues than @J0hnnieW4lker. I using DOF off, Temporal Aliasing off, Texture Very High and all the settings High. Cryengine change every shader for different settings, so maybe another setting that need to be changed?

Yeah, those are the broken lighting/shadows that are in a compute shader that I was unable to fix. Now you can see why I so desperately wanted to try to get that fixed first. :/ Disabling it isn't really good either, because then those sections are entirely dark, so I just had to leave it. That is probably one of the worst sections in the game for that, so just play through and it gets better again.
@DHR: In case you're at all interested in taking a look, the shader for that is 351688e2a4330076-cs.txt. The section that the fix needs to be done at starts at line 1112. You'll see I've got several things I've already tried commented out. If you uncomment lines 1116 - 1118, and then in game press the / key, and you'll see it will shift those lights around.

OK...first time i see CryEngine use CS for lights.
Lights seems to be 2D wihtout changing the shaders, but that shadows in my first screenshot is not 2D, so that will probably be another shader? or is the same?
