I'm getting the same problem as Shitgoesdown. This is probably a SLI / non-SLI issue that's present, somewhat similarly, in other MT Framework games such as RE Revelations 2 & RE6. (I'm currently running the game on a single GPU).

I tried various graphics settings. Also experimented with & without a profile & Config.ini flags- but no help. I was able to make the problem go away by using the debug Helixmod DLL and cycling to PS 3CC1B769. Strangely, if I try to disable the outputs inside the shader, the problem still remains.

If you guys look back through the thread you will see the screens I put up showing the broken shadows. This is weird though because I have not seen the issue 4everawake describes at all and I have tried it on SLI and a single card setup. My setup is as in my sig but I am using the latest driver. Resident 6 profile and the SLI=ON and Stereo=ON flags set in the appdata config file. (although this appears to do nothing) I haven't pushed my fix because It's very quick and nasty, could possibly cause instability, and I'd much rather see a better one. (I'm still learning). Here are some updated pics with my fix and the reshade Dman posted. I wouldn't recommend using this at this point because it's currently got a bug the author has resolved for next release that makes the load screens pretty painful. Looks pretty good if you ask me. (even without shadows) I tried disabling SLI and I don't get any problems.

What do you suppose the likelihood of a shadow fix happening is? It looks fantastic in 3D, but I'm not quite willing to drop the shadows for it. There's little enough detail as is.

Well.... Remember the game has only been officially out a couple of days, and not like from me but. I brought a copy for the shared shader hacker account, and mike has already expressed that he might have a look when he is free with the things he is currently working on. Looks like 4everawake is taking a look as well, but he has that weird problem. I don't see any technical reason why the shadows can't be fixed I am just not certain how to go about it, otherwise I would already have. My fix is far from perfect as well as I think there are a few more issues at night around certain light sources. Personally I think the UI is actually a more pressing concern, yes you can turn elements of it off but losing any visual indicator of health is a bit rough. Patience....

Then you can turn it off when not in combat.

I have the same problem. It does not work on all systems . Driver update , i tested Profil RE 6 and max payne 3, i have windows 7, i tested stereo on and off, I tested sli on and off . I have one eye issue

I installed it and had a quick look at the shadows. It should be doable, but not done it yet.

Shouldn it be [code]ps_3_0 dcl_texcoord v0[/code] i have plant shadows using ENB and some not fitting shadow down under my feets. So i have identifyed it and disabled it. But i cant get any shader for a strange indoor lightening shadow. ENB is much usefull wihout shadows because of the AO it did not looks that static, even without shadow. Some ONE EYE rendered light effect is left and it is depending on the camara angel (same like DarkSouls 2 fix) May be Mike can use the identifyed shaders for fixing without much hunting. Now its up to the pros to fix the game. But with this "prefix" it is playable i think for the first time. Without shadows ^^
