With your help we can create a game unlike any other out there, and you can truly impact the development of the game early on! ESTIMATED DELIVERY: Feb 2017 https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/806010995/aquanox-deep-descent/description It looks like they will be using the Unreal 4 Engine "We had cooperated before on several other projects and two years ago we started discussions on how to bring back Aquanox. This resulted in the early prototype, built on Unreal Technology (UE3), that we used to create all the in-game pics and videos you see on this page. We are currently transitioning to Unreal Engine 4 on which the final game will be built, if this campaign is successful. In addition to that, assets and research from an unreleased THQ underwater action game called Deep Six have been integrated into the pre-production of the game." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R96dA-5OYNA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ql2zgcC29zI
