Sony KDL-46EX720 supported? newbie to 3d
I want to buy the mentioned TV.

Is it supported? Will I need to buy nvidia glasses or can I use branded SONY?

Do you people get to play FULL HD or do you have to lower your settings?

Thanx

Has way too much crosstalk, get the Toshiba WX800u or the Sharp LE835, they're probably cheaper too. The Sony HX720 and the HX820 have standard amounts of crosstalk for 2011, so consider them too. Also consider DLP or projectors, as most of them have no crosstalk [im told].

With any 3DTV besides Samsungs, you'll be limited to 720p realistically, since 1080p will only run at 24hz. You don't need your own glasses with those. 2010 and some high end 2011 Samsung Lcd's can utilize 3D Vision with Roller's mod and do checkerboard and 1080p30.

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530

Thanx. Those not on sale here, and LE is twice as expensive as mentioned SONY... so I guess I'll give it a 3 year break

It does not appear to be supported. Go here for instructions on how to request support for your 3DTV:

http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2774

Usually within a month a 3DTV update is made available with new models recently added.
