May be i am too perfect .....
Look @ the 2D screenshot, there is a glowing light right from your arms, vertical from the tree.
Also @ the left sight of the you in the sceenshot will give you glow at the ground.
Using 3D this is gone, comare with the 3D-screenshot.
I hate to say it DHR, but my game looks like a wrong profile setting or something!
As others has mentioned flimmering textures, but also a sort of halo..
Have tried changing all graphich settings, DDU + latest driver, searched for offending shaders, no dice at all :/
Try enlarging this it looks terrible..
Edit: I'm a fool, the fix is great!

If you are using a depth hack, you will see clipping in ALL lights. If not there are a couple of parts in the game were you will see clipping in a couple of them.
About the AO stuff...do you mean in the Haystack?

I don't use depth hack so indeed like you said, it's only clipping in a couple of parts of the game ;)

What I call flimmering (not sure if this is the right term) is like aliasing , glitter, sparkling or lack of definition in dense foliage tree far away. Aliasing to 0 or type 1 doesn't change this. But like said Losti that he see it in 2D, I have to check that in 2D, it could be related to their engine...

LOL and sorry. I'm German and it's a translation error. "Flimmern" means flickering.
In my screenshots you see the white pixels in the puddles and on the lake. They move and that is giving the flickering. But like I said, if I change my perspective to the ground it looks good.
