This game and Assetto Corsa are the two best car sims for me which work perfectly in 3D vision surround out of the box!

Does the 3d work with full graphics options or do you still need to turn the shadows to low?

Because the last time I looked this game definitely was not perfect out the box by any stretch of the imagination. My 3dmigoto fix was essential. I'll check out the new "full" release later today.

Maybe I have shadows set to low. I reduced some settings and the resolution to get fluid 60 FPS in 3D surround. And I didn't want to turn the shaders completely off because the shader-setting is what brings the game to life (rain drops on windshield...) although they are a resource hog. But with my lower settings it still looks very good and I didn't notice any glitches in 3D so far...

this game is brilliant in 3D , and it runs at 60fps with max settings (1080p) on my single GTX980 . The graphics are photo-realistic with a good sweetfx setting (hint: use with DPX ColorGamma=1.0 and DPXSaturation=1.0). But I 'd like to have a advice about convergence and depth. I cannot get a realistic 3D view like in my car . What are your settings for convergence and depth? Is it possible to put these ideal parameters directly in the 3dmigoto fix ? Thx Edit:one hour more tweaking Conv and Depth and impossible to reach the perfect view . Very frustrating and hurting my eyes! It's the only game which i have problem to find the sweet spot :/

i've found at last the most realistic settings i think : - put the following in d3dx.ini : [Key1] Key = P separation = 84.0 convergence = 1.5 - in-game : FOV = 0.6 and don't forget to press P key to apply the 3D settings :) PS: in Rallycross events, performance is poor (GPU usage around 40%) unlike rally ones (GPU usage around 100%) and it's not CPU bound (around 60% in both events) . It's sad because Rallycross is very cool in 3D EDIT : change settings 12/21/15

I found a readme file in the "readme" folder where the game is installed. It has a section for 3D. I really appreciate how the developers provided this documentation. Great job for not leaving us hanging like 95% of other developers!
STEREOSCOPIC 3D -AMD HD3D Support A complete list of the hardware that AMD support can be found here By default stereo rendering is disabled. The Graphics Options menu has a toggle to enable or disable HD3D as well as sliders for adjusting the separation and convergence. -NVIDIA 3D Vision Support You will need a 3D Vision kit (including the active shutter glasses), 3D Vision ready display and a GeForce 400, 500, 600 series card or greater. More information regarding the hardware can be found here. Stereoscopic rendering can be enabled and disabled via the button on the 3D Vision IR transmitter. The eye separation is also controlled from this unit. The convergence is adjustable using the hot keys bound in the 3D Vision control panel. The start-up values for stereoscopic rendering are stored in the game’s config file, normally located here once the game has been run at least once: Documents\My Games\DiRT Rally\hardwaresettings\hardware_settings_config.xml The parameter “separation” is the measure of how far apart the eyes are. The parameter “convergence” is the measure of how much the scene appears to come out of the monitor.
how you manage to connect to RaceNet at start with the 3dmigoto fix? Each time, it crashes during the connection. Without 3dmigoto fix, it's ok. Before I tested the game on a torrent without problem, and now that I bought it, can not be used. EDIT : It works now ! i must remove the sweetfx . Sadly, the cracked version , without Racenet connexion, works well with the two injectors installed :(

That's interesting to know, is there a setting in there that somehow "enables" native 3D, because regardless of setting convergence or whatever, the game does not render shadows, lights, and many other effects correctly in 3D. I can't check until much later tonight.

There is a setting that says "stereo enabled="false"", I will try changing it to "true" and see if that changes anything visibly. I am too busy to test it right now though. :(

I've been playing this game all day. Amazing in Surround 3d. Having a G27 and custom cockpit probably helps as well. I'ts mind blowing. I think I have my new 3d vision demo game

So. Does it still require the helix fix then? Or did they make it work natively? I'm not a fan of the lowered graphics in the fix, these things bug me immensely...
