Stereo 3D will make Minecraft look much more realistic. Almost reallife i believe :D
I personally would love to have Minecraft in 3D.
For all the 3D fixing I do, I play minecraft on the iPad and my smartphone more than I play most PC games, because me and my son share a world together ;-) I have minecraft on the PC and there was an old 3D wrapper someone wrote but it does not work with the latest version I don't think, and it had bad framerate issues as well. Minecraft also has several fancy shader mods, for things like water and advanced lighting and so on, which would benefit a lot from stereo 3D. I think this would be a popular mod if it was possible with Helifax's wrapper.

;)) I cannot give an ETA just yet (as I will be on holiday very soon and some other things going on at the moment) but I will make a fix just for you ^_^.
I never played MineCraft before so have no idea where to download it, what version and so on:) Can you provide a link?
Thx

OMG you just made a grown man weep. At work... ;-) You've totally made my day :-)
The link to minecraft is here
https://minecraft.net/
and you can find GLSL shader mods here:
http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1544257-172174175shaders-mod-v2312-updated-by-karyonix/
http://www.minecraftdl.com/glsl-shader-mod/
http://www.minecraftdl.com/paolos-lagless-shaders-mod/
It's a bit of a cycle to pay for it, then download it, then activate it... But there is also a demo available on the same page that avoids that lot. You just get the latest version when you download it (1.7.9 I think).
I can't thank you enough for looking at this, you're a star! No pressure on the timescales for this, I plan on wasting much of my life in the next few weeks on Watch Dogs anyway, but Minecraft in 3D on the projector will be awesome - some of the options for creating massive worlds and biomes have a great sense of scale about them, which will come alive in 3D.

FYI, I've sent off an email to Bethesda explaining the issue, and requesting a way to unlock the framerate. I'll let you know if I hear anything. Wouldn't hurt if anyone else wanted to do the same thing, let them know there's a demand.

OK thanks...
I am still working on the wrapper:)
So far:
- I managed to improve the overall framerate of the game. As you can see in the images you now have 60fps per eye. However there still is a an "eye-sync" issue (but way less visible)
- I also ported the same wrapper to RAGE (x64) and I see the same framerate improvements there.
- I fixed numerous shaders so far (including shadows, UI, menus, lights and so on)
- Some shaders still need finding and fixing (the gun-fire lights for example)
- Some effects are 2D (like some blood) - No idea why. I tried 2h to search for a shader related to it.. no luck. It is possible is not computed on a shader but instead CPU computed and written in the framebuffer ?
- Ported the FPS improvements in all the other wrappers. I will re-release them.
The wrapper is almost finished. I hope to release it today/tomorrow. In the mean time I made more screenshots. You can see them here:

Or here:
The New Order - 3D Vision Wrapper
I also created a small video during testing which you can see here:
Wolfenstein: The New Order - 3D Vision Wrapper Video.
THE WRAPPER HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED YET!!!! (In case you are wondering :) Read above to see when and how.)
Hope you enjoy what you see so far:)

[RELEASE TIME]
Wolfenstein: The New Order x64 Wrapper
- THIS Version of the Wrapper features optimizations which should increase the FPS.
- THIS Version of the Wrapper features a FPS unlock. It is turned ON by ENABLING V-SYNC in the game Options.
- USING THE FPS Unlock might accelerate the game and the animations WILL go OUT of SYNC.
=========================
Installation:
=========================
- Go in-game and set your Resolution.
- Disable SPACE SCREEN REFLECTIONS - It will give a MAJOR FPS boost. The effect renders BAD in 3D anyway.
- Set Shadow resolution maximum to 4096 !!!
- Install this wrapper.
- Start the Game.
Tested on 3D Surround with GTX 780 Ti on Ultra with the above options OFF and FPS was constant 60. (WIN 7 x64)
==========================
Fixed
=========================
- Everything :) (except SS REFLECTIONS)
- Removed some shadows
- Some halos around some minor objects
=========================
BUGS and KNOWN ISSUES:
=========================
- Some elements still render in 2D: like blood, some decals some reflections etc.
- the EYES are NOT completely in sync (nothing to do about it with that hard lock).
Try to avoid rapid movements and you will be OK. However, if you get dizzy STOP using the wrapper immediately.
=========================
Supports:
=========================
- Both Window mode and fullscreen.
- Supports convergence, separation and depth adjustments from nvidia panel (or via hotkeys).
- Tested on Single GPU/ SLI 3D Vision setups
- Tested on 3D Vision Surround setups
- Reported to WORK with 3DTVPlay at 720p.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The same information you can find in the readme.txt as well.
PLEASE REPORT BACK:
- if you get missing DLL files and what are the names
- if it doesn't load for you or you get a black screen as RAGE DID (There is a chance the shaders are done in a different ORDER on different machines. I tested on 3 Machines and it works on those, but chances are it will not work for others)
- IF YOU WANT TO ENABLED THE FPS UNLOCK BE SURE TO HAVE V-SYNC AS ON. However this will make the animations render out of sync. But you will get better Framerate, less eye de-sync and so on.
THE PERFORMANCE OF THIS WILL HEAVILY DEPEND ON YOUR GPU !!! So it might not work for everyone the same !!!
Anyway, happy killing:)) and let me know the above.
Regards

unfortunately I have a blackscreen with the Wolfenstein fix... the game loads I can hear the intro and the menu music, I even clicked to resume the game and hear ingame sounds but there is only blackscreen for me (works fine once I rename the opengl32.dll).
Just tried the rage fix and same thing occurs, I hear ingame sounds while the screen is black :(
side note the wolfenstein installer have "Amnesia" text where you select where the game is installed :)

Big thx for the report! I will fix that amnesia thing:)) must have overlooked it :))
Can you please try the following:
- Download THIS archive.
- Extract all the files and put them inside WOLF next to the executable.
- Launch the game.
- Hit resume.
- After the game has loaded exit the game.
- It should create a Folder called DebugShaders.
- Zip that folder and sent it to me @ tavyhome@gmail.com
I want to see why the shaders are different (and how exactly) since this is the same issue I had with RAGE also and I cannot replicate it on any of my machines.

- USING THE FPS Unlock might accelerate the game and the animations WILL go OUT of SYNC.
=========================
Installation:
=========================
(WIN 7 x64)
==========================
Fixed
=========================
- Everything :) (except SS REFLECTIONS)
- Removed some shadows
- Some halos around some minor objects
=========================
BUGS and KNOWN ISSUES:
=========================
- Some elements still render in 2D: like blood, some decals some reflections etc.
- the EYES are NOT completely in sync (nothing to do about it with that hard lock).
Try to avoid rapid movements and you will be OK. However, if you get dizzy STOP using the wrapper immediately.
=========================
Supports:
=========================

- Released a x64 version for RAGE. You should get better FPS than the 32bit version.
Anyone who had troubles with the first RAGE Wrapper please try this one and REPORT BACK.
- If you have Steam Version: Start RAGE from STEAM and select x64. If you click on the Rage64.exe IT WILL NOT WORK as the game will still start in 32 bit.
@RAGE x64 Wrapper
- RE-RELEASED all the wrappers and they should feature some FPS improvements.

Just tried the rage fix and same thing occurs, I hear ingame sounds while the screen is black :(
side note the wolfenstein installer have "Amnesia" text where you select where the game is installed :)
Acer H5360 / BenQ XL2420T + 3D Vision 2 Kit - EVGA GTX 980TI 6GB - i7-3930K@4.0GHz - DX79SI- 16GB RAM@2133 - Win10x64 Home - HTC VIVE
