[quote name='BlackSharkfr' post='974257' date='Jan 2 2010, 11:17 AM']It's a simple quick realtime conversion.

I havent tried this.. I did order a tridef 3D conversion kit.. and it works OK.. some stuff it has a hard time rendering...
the better the quality video - the better it adds depth.. but stuff like transformers bluray where there are a lot of shadows in optimus primes face and such it has a very hard time adding depth to just because it cant tell lighting and how much to add.
Star Wars episode I was cool with the depth.. the CGI charaters actually had more depth then anything else just because of the system being able to read the light differences very well..
All and All the effect isnt spectaular like some of the games that I have played.. but considering its taking a 2D source and adding depth on the fly.. its not horrible either..
The best was the Episode I logo on the DVD that just stood out.. not popped off the screen but definitly floated about the background.. the Crawl was cool..
I ran some downloaded music videos and home made videos from a cheap little webcam.. and that worked OK.. again the better the video the better it can render the 3D.

Actually, a stop sign in the center of the screen would be partially at the far left side (saying "op") and partially at the far right side (saying "st").

Or is it ? Did you get it to work, or did you pre-convert the files or are you talking anaglyph ?
