Havent even seen Dragon Age on the official nvidea list of excellent, good, fair etc.

So, title says it all. Is it?

It should be near the top of the list. It's excellent in 3D. The cursor is 2D though. I don't think this bothered most people.

Actually, to my surprise, yes- it's great. I've only played for a few hours in 3d, but I've noticed minimal ghosting or none at all most places, and you can set your depth and convergence initially and not have to mess with it every time the perspective changes. Menu & overlay aren't hard to focus on either and the cursor doesn't bug me in the least. I'd put it in my top 5 for 3d Vision from what I've played.

Have to agree; it's my personal all time favorite in 3D!

I never really have time to play it, but yes it's excellent in 3D. One of my favorites. /sorcerer.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sorcerer:' />

It's good I guess, but the 2D cursor really put me off, so I play it in 2D. I micromanage a lot so it's quite off-putting.

The game engine works perfectly but the pop up writing appears at screen depth, this requires you to re-focus backa and forth all the time which i find tiring and annoying...

The gameplay itself is great in 3d, but the animated "cinematic" interludes (which are plentiful) aren't really optimized for 3d, I find I have to turn it off for most of the interludes or the separation becomes an insane strain on my eyes. Otherwise it is indeed good in stereoscopic. :)

p.s. all votes for "best game in 3d" here are wrong. The best game in 3d is Aion, the stereo 3d is flawless.

what are the best settings for depth and conversion here, I find that unless I put the depth at like 5-10 percent, the game unfocuses every time I change views /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />

I was playing at 40% depth. Didn't have that problem. But when I first started using 3d vision I did have the same problem. My eyes got used to it I guess.

Yeah something broke since 1.13 or maybe 1.15 - I think it was pretty much a perfect 3D game with those older drivers. So our choice is a nasty one - roll back to enjoy DA:O in 3D, but now we can't enjoy Avatar , Batman, etc. Such is being on the bleeding edge of technology.

Also, Avatar The Game is hands down the best 3D experience going around right now. Sure the game is pretty shallow and linear, but the jungles of Pandora rendered in 3D steal Crysis's almighty crown with ease.

Most of the more recent drivers have a lot of bugs. The current whql and beta both cause artifacts in Bioshock 2 (whql is better but still does it).

Best I have found are 182.50 and they work in batman AA and such ... until your physx card downclocks lol

The cursor in Dragon Age is actually bothering me quite a bit. The cursor isn't rendering anywhere near my targets. I have the launch version. Anyone know if a Dragon Age patch addressed this issue??
