It works with 3d-vision, but Firefox is the only browser that can show it for the moment. Doesn't look very good though:(

If the video does not do the game justice then that is my fault, this game in incredible. I don't usually end up playing many games for too long in any one sitting, but I was engulfed by the behemoth of a game. The 3D while a little cracky, is well within the acceptable playing standards. Plus the upgrading system is very fun indeed...

Even in the video thumbnail you can see the postprocessing problems with running the game through the 3d vision auto stereo mode, because of the deferred rendering the unprojection is being done improperly, and thus you get bad shadows/glows/postprocessing
use the game's native 3d renderer with my wrapper
You can go try out the beta version i released on my webpage: http://rajko.info/hd3d/
The big delay was because i was trying hard to fix the soft shadows problem, in many different ways, but gave up at the end.
Have fun

This game just has a terrible implementation in 3D. I blame it on the unoptimized graphics engine design. Even in it's native 3D mode, it's no where near showing true 3D objects like other games.

Such a waste of a top game. Has anyone tried the AMD 3D?

I like to think these days of troubleshooting games will soon be over, but then it will probably just turn into a format/proprietary hardware-software battle continually screwing the consumer (avatar/panasonic)

you have a 3d vision kit, you can try it yourself
the result is exactly the same as you would get on a hd3d kit
the developer put the convergence inside the screen, and even at max, the separation isnt high

The effect I'm seeing is awful with the BF3 drivers - much like The Witcher 2 before it got the shadow fix. The shadows and/or lights are not rendered at the correct depth at all on my system.

e: Switching to single monitor it seems fine. But it's not at all impressive. Basically the immersiveness of 3D depends a lot on the base graphic assets and the nature of the engine. There's just not a lot of depth or extruding objects here and the texture and detail is low since it's a console based game.
