We have good monitors at 27' like the Asus VG278HE. Not G-SYNC (which doesn't matter in 3D anyway) and not 1440p, but 1080p. But if I were to buy new monitor(s) I would go for 32' at 1440p or even higher;) At least that is my "progression line" that I see;)
It's a real shame that the Dell has the SAME issue as the ROG SWIFT. I bet they are using the EXACT SAME PANEL and there is where the PROBLEM lies (with the Manufacturer of the PANEL who didn't test it properly and has hardware issues, or they just went cheap on it). I am glad that I didn't actually buy 3xRog Swifts but instead the "older" 1080p variant as that type of "artefacting" would be HORRIBLE on 3 Screens in Surround...

Have you tried plugging the emitter into different USB ports?
Or reading through the PG278Q thread to see if the were able to solve it?
I know that the Samsung S27A950D would ghost really bad with 3D Vision unless you turned off OverDrive or whatever they called it. So see if there is something that you can turn off.[/quote]
mb you are right about G-Sync module, but it is deactivated when using 3D Vision. We can not verify it to be sure, since, as we know, there are no monitors like these ones without G-Sync module. And I personally doubt that changing USB port can resolve this (unfortunately i didn't guess to try).

OK, so I bought the Dell S2716DG , I paid $550.00 +tax. They were throwing in a $200 gift card through Dell's Members Purchase Program. Supposedly, I'll receive the gift card in 2 weeks. So if I get the gift card, it's one heck of a deal.
Figuring a VG278HE costs $380, G-sync module is worth $100 and a resolution bump from 1080P to 1440P is well worth the remaining $70. So at $550 it's worth it without discounts.
Anyhow, I can report that the ghosting seems to be less than my VG278HE. 3D looks good at 1440P or 1080P. It was a little bright out of the box resulting in colors being a lil washed.
I tested it real quick with http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/subpixel.php and http://tft.vanity.dk/
No dead pixels, no banding, no lines running thru the image
The bezel is 3/8ths on this whereas on my VG278HE it's 7/8ths of an inch.
So far so good, I was hesitant to buy it because of the posts by mistervin, but I'm very happy with it.
Like all of the LCD monitors it does have this problem.

I use a single GPU, so I can't comment if there's any SLI problems when using it, but I'd imagine that there will not be any since the issue was resolved/fixed with the ROG Swift.

It was Dell's MPP (Member Purchase Program), I mistakenly put Dell Advantage. I corrected it in the above post.

It had a % off coupon APRIL1, if you watch deal News, they'll probably have another offer in several weeks. Currently they have a sweet deal for their 4K display.
I also got some additional money taken off by the rep that took my call.

I pulled the trigger and bought this monitor today for 495.71€ and free shipping. It can't get lower than this, I guess. My brother will inherit my BenQ XL2411Z. I'll miss blur reduction at any refresh rate (but for 2D 60fps content, opening a 3D screenshot in the background and then using the 3D Vision 2 glasses should work) :(. Wish me luck with the panel lottery.
I should receive it before May the 10th, if everything goes alright. I don't know who will cry more: my bank account (this was more than half of my monthly salary) or my GTX 760. Pascal, I need you now.

I haven't had a chance to use mine very much yet, but from the little I did, I like it very much.
If you bought it directly from Dell, the phone rep told me that Dell has "free" return shipping on any of their "Dell" branded products and a 100% satisfaction guaranteed return policy. (please call to confirm this prior to ordering)
When you get it, open the display menu, go to "others", then disable "Monitor Deep Sleep".
Also, all G-Sync monitors have ULMB. ULMB is the sequel to LightBoost. I know nothing about this and wasn't aware of it until Blacksmith56 pointed it out to me. ULMB only works with G-Sync off.
So perhaps you can tells us more once you have yours and test it out.

I know. It works at 85Hz, 100Hz and 120Hz (I wish it could work at 60Hz). Sadly it doesn't have the freedom of BenQ's blur reduction (any refresh rate from 50Hz to 144Hz). I hope it's fine regarding top and bottom crosstalk, like Lightboost.
Man, I thought I would upgrade when 4k OLED at 120+Hz came, but my brother needs a monitor, this was a good deal and what if those 4k monitors aren't comatible with 3D Vision 2...

The 4K monitors will not be able to work with 3D Vision 120Hz Frame Packed currently. They could if they were to use Checkerboard to access Nvidia's stereoscopic drivers or if Nvidia were to add more formats to 3D Vision such as SbS half. (we'll be lucky to get SbS for 3DTV Play)
It will be awhile, but once we see Display Port 1.3/1.4 added to GPUs and Displays, it will be possible.

I bought the Dell S2716DG, too. It's my first nvidia vision experience and I'm wondering how to use the screen. When I try to configurate the setup it says "No vision ready display found".
In another forum I've read that this error occurs with displays without dvi. So do I have to buy NVIDIA 3DTV Play to use the screen?

The display has no Display Port. It only has 2 HDMI where I connected it.
I have a nvidia vision 2 Kit. The Emitter is connected, it glows green.
I have the latest driver (365.19) and a Geforce GTX680
Diplay Port looks a lot like HDMI.
