Has anyone any info on changing edid for a monitor for a 3d monitor as I have a 120hz monitor which is not 3d vision ready.
I did this for my benq w1070 projector to get it to work with 3d vision & my pc recognised it straight away as the projector required.

Yeah, it seems clear that no one else has tried the iiYama. They typically make pretty good monitors, so I can understand your desire to get it to work.
I didn't see anyone else getting it to work, so you are probably the only person who can.
EDID list in case you don't already know: http://3dvision-blog.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2025
Some info on your monitor, and they tried 3D with override and could not get it to work:

Seems like the best plan is to try to match the underling panel. Who makes the actual panel inside the iiYama box, and then find another supported monitor that is the same panel.
Or you could try each EDID you can find. Good luck.

You can go here to see what panels are inside the shiny box: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/panelsearch.htm
Searching for similar models, panels we get:

Iiyama G2773HS 1ms G2G + 120Hz 27"WS Chi Mei Innolux TN Film (M270HHF-L10)
Iiyama ProLite G2773HS 1ms G2G + 120Hz 27"WS Chi Mei Innolux TN Film (M270HHF-L10)
BenQ XL2411T 1ms G2G + 120Hz 24"WS TN Film
BenQ XL2720T 1ms G2G + 120Hz 27"WS CMI TN Film (M270HHF-L10)
Asus PG278Q 1ms G2G + 120Hz 27"WS TN Film
So maybe look for an EDID that matches that 27" BenQ. It's 3D Vision Ready.
Also interesting to note that the Asus is the new one with G-Sync, but is in fact the same guts as your monitor and the BenQ.
If you get it to work, please let me know.

Your best bet is to contact someone here who has the BenQ. There are several threads with people working out problems.
Then see if they would give you a hand to create the EDID file using the utility from the 3dvision-blog forum here:

If you do get a copy, please be sure to share on that thread for other seekers.
