Stereoscopic 3d vision menu missing windows 8 acer 6510bd
Hi,
here is my config:
Windows 8
acer 6510bd
good hdmi cable
latest available geforce 660m driver
Clean installed of the driver
3d vision installer launched
I cannot get the setting right to have the stereoscopic menu appear in nvidia configuration
I tried to lower the resolution from 1080p and 60Hz to xxx*800 and 120Hz but then the projecteur is saying the message input not supported.
Also I saw the windows checkbox in the resolution panel "Activate 3d strereoscopic display) I check it but the menu and the button to start the wizzard are still missing.
Also I tried with the 3d setting of the videoprojector being off and on (auto)
Still no menu.
If anyone who manage to get this vp working with 3dvision could help me with some pointers and telling me what settings is he using, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

The new projectors generally only support 3d tv play and don't work with 3d vision. One difference being that 3dtv play is frame packing over HDMI, whereas 3d vision is raw frame sequential 120hz.
The other difference being that 3d vision needs the emitter and glasses, whereas 3dtv play uses whatever 3d glasses the display device supports. In your case, DLP link.
I assume you have the nvidia IR emitter? If not, you probably need to buy the 3d tv play software separately.
