Hm, so if it's already been done once, is adjusting it for new episodes monkey-work that I could do myself? I wouldn't know where to start for now, but if I'm pointed in the right direction and given a tiny tricycle and a fez I can try to... ...this analogy is getting away from me. But I'm happy to give it a try if it's something easily taught. I could even try my hand at Walking Dead Season 2 afterwards, if they're similar.

I dont think its understood clearly. Episode 2 came out. So now episode 1 needs to be redone + 2. Episode 3 comes out. Now you have to redo 1/2 + 3 Repeat till episode 5. So I am waiting till last episode. Im not sure I would call it complicated, but extremely time consuming. I am probably going to have to separate like 400 textures in 4 different categories depending on each texture/hud icons usage.
I dont think its understood clearly.

Repeat till episode 5.

So I am waiting till last episode.
Im not sure I would call it complicated, but extremely time consuming. I am probably going to have to separate like 400 textures in 4 different categories depending on each texture/hud icons usage.

Yep, I understood that. I'm having trouble clearly expressing what I'm suggesting though. I'm asking if because episode 1 has been done (but is now broken), could I re-work your fix to episode 1 (and maybe try my hand at extending it to episode 2) with a guide? If I just need to "re-target" the fixes you wrote to the new texture IDs I might learn something about fixes in the process. If not, I'll just wait it out and play it all when you've finished, no pressure.

Has there been any movement with this game so far as a 3dfix goes for all chapters? I know Walking Dead 2 was problematic as shaders were modified as each new chapter came out.

IMO it's not so bad even without the fix for all chapters so far. Although by no means perfect, double shadows are all that are apparent, but easy to get used to.

eqzitara has said he'll fix it after the last episode is released, so I've been waiting for that. I'm hoping he'll do the same for Walking Dead, so I'm holding off on that one too.

Guys, I wouldn't hold my breath. There will be no end chapters for either as the business model of the company is to keep churning out episodes. This is how they make money. It would be foolish to end an IP by writing an ending. Usually what happens is that public interest gets lost in the product/film/series/games/IP or whatever else the business model relies on. The company shuts down before an ending is written (i.e. firefly), or if very lucky, an ending is written before the company gets shut down. Its like when a series keeps getting renewed by a network, i.e. star trek, battlestar galactica, scrubs, friends, etc etc. They keep making episodes until they can't any more. They won't even have an ending in mind at this stage. Telltale games is strong, and these series are strong. There will absolutely not be any ending any time soon. The other point is that you will have more fun playing each episode when it is released compared with playing them all together as you won't appreciate them as much :) My 2 cents...

Rage, they are released in seasons of 5 chapters. There will be an end chapter for both games, and that is episode 5. If they release a new season, it will be a separate entity, and require a separate fix. But the current season (and everything they've previously released) does have an end.
