Guild Wars 2 3D Review by S3DGamerZone + Free games contest
What we tried to do is focus on the game-play, environments and how it lends itself to 3D. We wanted to focus on the Stereoscopic effectiveness in Guild was 2 and see if there are any major anomaly's that might make it difficult to play. S3DGamerzone has been lucky enough to have this review done by a Warcraft player which allows us to get a real inside look at what can hinder or help playing games in MMOs. We hope this review will answer all your questions as it provides an in-depth look at Guild wars 2 . We look at not only it's 3D effectiveness but also how well they integrated it into other game play elements. We are going to be giving out some free games today to comenters on our webpage. We are looking to get some feedback on the review and if you enjoyed it or not. I should point out that we are aware that there are some frame rate drops visible in the review. This was difficult to avoid without being able to showing the size a scope of the battles. So pls feel free to leave a comment regarding the review as we are always looking to improve and people that comment on the webpage have a chance to win a free game. I'm giving out a total of 7 games and each winner will have a choice of what game they wish to have based on whats available. I take it that's a YouTube video? Because it's just showing as two images for me using IE9.

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.

If you dont have hdmi 1.4 you need to use firefox/enable aero theme then select HTML5. If you have hdmi 1.4 just select side by side. http://www.3dvisionlive.com/3dv-html5-detection Click and it will tell you when good to go(I believe).

Hi Have you advertised this on the Guildwars site? Agree with the score! :) Any chance you could add the script? Not everyone has 3D at work. edit I love the 3D in this game too. I play at 100% depth so I still have to turn the shadows to low but that doesn't bother me as there are still shadows, they just look diffuse, which some might argue is more natural! Unfortunately you don't get animated environment shadows but you still get diffused environment shadows. When I first got the game, because of the convergence issues, I set up two macros: one for toggling 3D and the map and the other to toggle 3D for cutscenes. At this setting the selection ring around your target and some of the effects when cast on the ground look odd as they clip the ground, as you mentioned but you need to be in the right position to view the rings and the ground effects arent that bad. (Prpbably because you control them.) Anyway! To cut a long boring story short, my perfect convergence setting at 100% depth is less that what I had it on and reducing it fixed the map issue! The icons hover just above the map, which I quite liked. LOVING THIS GAME!!!
