Steam allowing custom tags is potentially interesting if we tag enough.
Bump. Anyone other than me still doing this?
I don't, because they seem to only search based on the most popular tags (unless it's changed of late). The whole reason I was excited was to be able to tag search during sales and see what my options were. But if not enough people tagged "3D Vision" for each tag to make a game's "popular list", the game was excluded from tag master searches. More succinctly: I was hoping a game that had been tagged twice would still show up in a master search when tag searching "3D Vision".

It still only shows the most popular tags, but it's the top...10 or 20, I think. That gives us a decent chance of getting our tag on the list.

I still do this whenever I look at a game in the store. It's not a great feature because it's oriented around the masses, and the masses don't understand 3D and so stupid shit like "Walking Simulator" and "Story Rich" show up more often. Nevertheless, I still add 3D Vision tags.
