Yeh, i might have to buy a new monitor in the future, but i think ill be fine with this one for now.
And bigtabs, pointing out that some one is immature dosent add to your own maturity. I didnt do crap, you guys attacked me. People made threads about wheather they should get sli or not and from my personal experience and from reading the posts on this forum that you seem to have missed, i informed them that sli sucks and is buggy. But that seems to bother you for some reason and you attacked me. I have only attacked ghost in a thread but that was so that he'd get off my ass, pm'ing people dosent do crap.
Also making a post to point out another post is worthless is just about as worthless as that post. Again this is entirely true and applies to this post which i had no choice but to make, get off my ass.

[quote name='bigtabs' date='Jun 23 2005, 12:50 PM']Okay then. It seems we'll have to agree to disagree. I don't want these boards filled with flamewars.
For the record, I think SLI sucks ass too, I never disagreed with you on that score.
Enjoy your stereo vision experience.

85 Hz will not be that bad, It is still much more desirable to run the NVIDIA page flip method at 85 Hz, then the 60 Hz you would have to run if you had an ATI card using ED's sync-double game driver. When you get the money together and get your glasses, you will not be sorry. The stereo driver is just to cool to be believed. I have to agree with bigtabs here. The only reason we have been a little harsh with you is because you have been doing allot of venting and you do give allot of misinformation and get angry when someone corrects you; you have to insult them and call them a fanboy. If you are only 15 I must admit you do have a pretty good knowledge of computers but there are many here that know a great deal more then you do. I have read threads that you were helpful in and I think you have allot of potential, but you really need to loose the bitterness. I think when you get your glasses, you will forget all about SLI.

I have an old 85 Hz monitor, and it's okay in 3D. Where i notice flickering is actually around the monitor, ie the case, my desk etc. The image on the screen is fine, a slight flicker maybe if you look for it.
My monitor makes up for it a little as it's a 21" screen - another thing that probably makes the 3D more impressive, and immersive.
However, i don't know if it's true that all shutter glasses are the same - some have larger lenses, and I would've thought that better LCDs could be used so that they are darker and thus have less ghosting, but I don't know for sure
