Asus VG236 LCD Monitor - just received NO GHOST ! - maybe the best choice !

So this ghosting with white on dark and viceversa doesnt happen at all with projectors?
There has been some talking going on about this but i am not sure.
I guess if there is no ghosting it's only with the 700+ euro projectors

DLP Projectors are almost ideal for time sequenced 3D.
I'd really like to see a DLP Projector that had a color wheel with an even number of segments and the polarization in the wheel.
You'd lose 50% of the brightness, all of the time, but you could use dirt cheap passive glasses with the same relatively ghost free images.

If the duty cycle is still 25% transparent / 75% black, that means you have effectively 200hz !!!
...at least , according to some bullcrap spread by sony, and his buddy samsung. /rofl.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Hi, i`m interested in buying this monitor. I`d like to know, does it have some brightness control. I`ve read in Acer review that it automatically sets brightnness to 100% when entering in 3D mode, so you can adjust 2D brightness independently from 3D. Does Asus have such feature?

I hope Asus plan to sell this screen without the 3D Glasses since I already have them. They're just reducing their potential market otherwise.
Also would love to see a review by Anton from 3D Vision Blog, and comments from other people who own the screen. Seems like we just have one owner here so far.
