New starvr one hands on first expression
https://youtu.be/GvFBUvfpQJ8 I wonder could the dual USB-C connection used for dual input. Is there any converters hdmi -> usbC ? That could potentially open ability to use it also for 3D vision with geobox. What do you think how possible is to use the starvrs 210 degree FOV with already available games ?

Don't get your hopes up, that thing is professionals only so the price is going to be really high, great to see other high quality steamvr HMDs though, HTC Vive is the worst in terms of support and they don't care since they have all the market for themselves. Still, since it's steamvr both vorpx and tridefvr should work, so several hundred games should be playable in perfect 3d or even pseudo vr with vorpx.

Hopefully they end At Price below 3k or no prosumer is interested on the product. I have absolutely zero interest on hmd’s offering close to a 100 degree FOV. Man vives pricing is crazy two base stations and controllers cost as much as vive bundle that comes with that shit. Just looking At that shit as starvr or similar device. Propably would come without any accessories. Id rather buy 3k for starvr than 1600€ from a vive pro. Though 3k is Alot for a product thats propably gonna suffer value loss pretty fast.

Very interesting find! I've been holding back in the VR environment for a long time now. I'm still waiting for someone here to go crazy about something. I hope nVidia would become involved in these enterprises and Arcades they mention. This is exactly what I had in mind. 210° does sound very promising. But to push things to an epic boundary, eye tracking would be the cherry on the cake. xD
Still, since it's steamvr both vorpx and tridefvr should work, so several hundred games should be playable in perfect 3d or even pseudo vr with vorpx.
So how would you say this compare to 3D Vision? In which games did you feel the VR experience is superior to 3D Vision?
