I am wondering if 3D Vision for Linux is working on Fedora 22 with GNOME?
Right now I am using Fedora 21 with a Quadro K5000 card and 3D vision does NOT work. I've been reading about the work done on clutter and nvidia driver to bring about 3D vision compatility, but am not sure if that is enough to make it really work. The reason why I don't just upgrade and try it out is due to conservative concerns for not making unnecessary changes to a production workstation.

What are your goals for using 3D Vision in Linux? I'm a Linux guy myself (kernel hacker), but most of our focus in this community has been on making games work with 3D Vision Automatic in Windows. I always meant to try out 3D Vision on Linux, but for my goals (gaming) it didn't seem worthwhile for a variety of reasons, so I still haven't gotten around to it.
3D Vision is supposed to have some support in Linux, but AFAIK it will be limited to a few applications that have native support for it, and it's not clear what cards are supported (though the documentation does indicate that Quadro cards should work).
