24Hz 3D frame packed timings needed...
I have always had to set up a custom timing for 23.976 Hz on 2D because the NVidia default 23 Hz settings on my systems always yield an incorrect 23.966 refresh rate which causes dropped frames. The fix for 2D to achieve 23.976 was simply adding 2 or 3 additional vertical lines using custom timings. I need to do the same for 3D frame packed bluray, since I am having the same issue with the frame rate being incorrect causing dropped frames, but I don't have any idea what actual default timings that I should use as a starting point. When I tried to use the timings that are displayed in the custom resolution tool when outputting 24FP 3D to create a new custom resolution, the projector does not recognize the created custom resolution as a valid resolution. Is there something unique to frame packed resolutions that is not supported in custom resolutions? Since the projector shows the input signal to be "24FP" once I selected 3D bluray in the NVidia settings, there must be something unique in the timings... How does the projector actually recognize this? Environment: Gigabyte GA-EP43-UD3L mobo Using Windows 7 32bit GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost 331.65 drivers Denon HDMI 1.4 receiver and cable Any help would be appreciated.
