They are all different, and do not work together in any way. The Nvidia 3D Vision driver really only supports the 3D Vision glasses (except for some oddball stuff like Zalman monitors). The IZ3D driver supports their own brand monitors (which as discontinued and supposedly suck) and also stuff like AMD HD3D, FPR monitors, dual output, projectors, etc. DDD supports much of this stuff as well. But neither iz3d or DDD will work with Nvidia glasses on 120Hz monitors.
What kind of display do you have? If you are looking to buy a 3D display I can give some recommendations. If you just have a 2D monitor, you can still play in 3D but it will be with anaglyph (the old colored glasses). The Pro-Ana are the best ones to get for anaglyph (under $10), but I will send anyone that wants a free pair of paper red/cyan glasses. Just PM me with your address and I will send them out.

i have a 60 hz LG L227 22'' . i have anaglyph glasses,(plastic black Red/Cyan) (i also have 3D vision 1 Glasses with IR emiiter, but dont use them until i have my 3D 120 hz monitor
which will arrive by the mid of this month )
i play crysis 2 and other ganmes no problem in stereo 3d
i want to play some games that dont work with nvidia like carmageddon and swat 4
this is why i want to try iZ3d and or DDD ( triDEF)
so i wanna know if its compatible or if i iinstall iZ3d it will mess up nividia 3d vision dirivers or sthg. that 3D will be tampered.

I had all of them installed at same time without any problem, currently have 3dvision and Tridef on Win 7 and both work perfectly well, none of them will mess up each other.

TriDef 3D (DDD) works perfecty with 3DVision glasses. Some games are actually looking better than in native 3DVision mode (Assassin's Creed II for example), but it's also much slower usually. Unless you use the TriDef exclusive "Virtual3D" mode, which is very fast, but gives much less depth.

Cybereality,I'm suprised you were unaware of that. I'd hope Nvidia would not disable it, because I like being able to have choice to switch between whichever middleware is functioning better in a particular game. If I could not use the other 3D middlewares with my Nvidia card, it would be a "no-brainer" to simply build an AMD rig.
This is the reason I was excited to see Meant to be Seen, upgradeing their game rating system/list to GameGrade3D, which is shaping up nicely. It's nice to be able to see game profiles without having to wade thru endless forumn posts for a simple bit of information that can greatly improve PQ in a game. http://www.mtbs3d.com/gg3d/
BTW, Cyber that video of you with a backpackVR was great. Just better make sure you don't inadvertantly wander outside, or you may find yourself surrounded by a swat team when you remove the headset. http://www.mtbs3d.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=12711&catid=35

yes. Set it for direct3d 120hz if using 3d vision monitor.
set for side by side if using hdmi 1.4 device.(Need your "tv's/projs 3d glasses")
1.3 devices will not work.
DDD is a bit strange. Some games hit HARD in fps others not as much(still more then 3d vision.) I like mass effect much more for DDD. Witcher 1/me2 may be better because of similar engine.
IZ3D is not really worth using anymore. In my opinion they just dont seem to be developing software anymore. Unless you are using a dual projector build its not worth it.

Wow! It works! You learn something new every day.

I didn't know DDD worked with 3D Vision either. I'll have to try this out. Is this what AMD uses for their 3D solution? I know nothing of the red teams stuff these days...

TriDef (DDD) is really the only other 3D software worth using besides 3D Vision. iZ3D is rarely upgraded, and has the least number of games with decent profiles.

Manufacturer: "standard display types"
Model: "Direct3D Stereo (120Hz)"
3D Vision has to be enabled, of course.
That's it. If you start the game with TriDef, 3DVision will kick in just like the game had a built-in 3D support.
