AA settings with H5360
So i'm gaming with my Acer projector with a 100" image and i sit about 5ft away from the screen. I know 720p is gonna give jaggies but even 16qxAA is still blocky as hell. I have Sli gtx 260's but have found that enabling any of the Sli AA settings i.e x32 results in the left lens going dark in the glasses and no 3d depth.

What is everybody else using for settings. I'm playing batman and Mass Effect 2 atm. Also i cant use Nhance with the latest driver release.

Maybe I'm wrong here, but at 100" and 5ft away... it's not AA that's your issue... you're actually seeing pixels. No amount of AA can fix that, only a higher resolution projector, smaller size, or moving back a few more feet. I have the same PJ at 120" and sit around 11-12' away. That's just at the threshold where pixels would be visible if I sat any closer.

I played Metro2033 last night on the H5360, 92 inch screen and GTX470 SLO. The game does appear slightly blocky but maxing out AA fixed that for me for the most part.

Its really nice gaming at 720p to be honest...maxing out games at 1280x720 is a lot less taxing on the gpu and frame rates are amazing.

yup , thats no AA trouble, he's too close to a way too wide screen. Playing VR ? ;)
( you'd want a pj like this for VR: http://www.projectiondesign.com/ , looks cool until you see the price)
Hell, even 720p noAA has alias problem I'd rate 0-5 % trouble on a 100 scale. ( 0% in movement, 5% still frames)

Imho no MSAA needed at all, but a shader would be enough. Once enough ppl gather we should start a petition for the stuff in my signature , no? 'surround users want no freeAA, but they would, if they knew its possible.

Cool, makes sense guys i'll see if i can re-arrange things to sit a bit further away or perhaps move the PJ closer. I dont care about 100" screen thats just what it was giving me. Thanks
