Back in January Jen-Hsun stated that 3D Vision works with youtube 3D videos.
I see Youtube supports 3D videos in nearly all methods, except I cannot get it to play back with the 3D-Vision glasses.
I have firefox and IE. How can I get it working please.

I think 3D Vision only works in full screen mode so It should not work with Youtube just yet.
I think you have to use anaglith glasses in order to see 3D for those 3D videos in Youtube. You can see they are kind of blue/red, so It's not S3D, it's anaglith.

I appreciate your response, however Mr Jen-Hsun made it very clear that 3D-vision worked with youtube. Anyone in the world with some paper glasses can watch the terrible red/green version. It's horrible.
However....
You can use "unnoficial" tools to download the videos from youtube, then modify your windows so that the mp4 codecs work with the 3D Vision Video Player. It's a needless fiddle, takes time to mess about for each video (95% of vids on youtube are bad anyway) so streaming is far more desireable.

Well, I really don't think all that tweaking is worth it for the result you are going to get. Let's wait for official internet explorer compability with 3D vision or something like that.
There are lots of 3D Videos compatible with 3D Vision that are way better than anything you see in Youtube for this matter.

How is the color in 3dvision (NOT DISCOVER) are you meaning ?.....
...The color is the same, just a bit dimmer. The loss of brightness is due to the shutting/blacking of the glasses.
I have never heard anyone say that 3d-vision hurt their eyes thought. Quite the contrary actually. Remarkably, some people have actually reported improvements in eye-sight... I have played 3d in a single stretch up to 6 hours, and the only problem I had was that the glasses nose piece left a mark on the bridge of my nose ( it went away quickly of course).

With the current drivers the IE plugin gets a mention in the 3d compatibility listing, but as of yet its not enabled for use. I'm half expecting it with the 3d surround drivers but we'll see..

If you download a program called youtube downloader HD you can download any 3d file from youtube and they will play with 3d vision player, you just have to enter the url in the program from the same page the vidio file is on youtube, just put it on side by side. /shifty.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':shifty:' />
