Battlefield 3 3D vision change from ACER120Hz to 3D Vision Discover and cant go back unless reboot
Hi i have very annoying problem , as i play Battlefield 3 in 3D through ACER NH monitor, at random point (sometimes few minutes sometimes 2hours) the game stop, go to desktop and change 3d mode to 3D vision discover and its blocked so i cant change it back to 3D Vision 120Hz unless i reboot computer. is it a way to completly disable 3d vision discover?

it never happened with BF3, yet it's a very known phenomenon to me :-)
with several games, a wrong "feeling" between the game and the drivers caused the "120Hz option" to disappear and only the "3D discover" to be available, compelling to reboot
as I had BF3 perfectly working, I suggest change of drivers

If it's switching to Discover, that means that NVidia driver thinks that your monitor is not 3D ready, or your emitter has gone offline.
Make sure you are using good quality cables for the monitor. If you are using some low budget cable this sort of thing can happen.
When it goes offline, go into the NVidia control panel->Change resolution and see what name/brand it thinks your monitor is. It should say Acer, but might say generic CRT.
If that seems OK, look in your device manager for the NVidia USB emitter and make sure it seems OK.

No, unfortunately, the software can make those things happen as well.
Wouldn't hurt to do a clean install of the drivers. Since it's working for mgabb, it's something on your system.
