And Aion....Haven't been able to get it to work with any game I've tried it on. Is there a couple specific titles that it does work on?

Or better yet, what is it I could not be doing, or noticing?

Bioshock2, Mass Effect 2, Halflife games work.

It seems convergence is most commonly locked out on games that work nearly perfectly in 3D ... "3D Ready" games. They seem to feel that they have adjusted everything to the best settings for the game and want to give you a more canned experience or maybe not allow people to play with it so they don't mess anything up due to "user error" i dont know. I don't know if it is locked out in Avatar or not. It is never locked out in games that are just rated good or very good or whatever.

I have not yet found a game that has the convergence locked out, and I run ALOT of convergence.
Currently, I run the following 3D games:
Bioshock 2, BFBC2, BF2, BF2142, Team Fortress 2, Half-Life 2, Counter-strike Source, Neo-Tokyo (HL2 mod), Modern Warfare 2, Mini-Ninjas, UT2004, UT3, Mirror's Edge, Dawn of War Soulstorm, Dawn of War II, WoW, Crysis, Portal, and Desert Combat (1942 mod).

If someone can list the games where it's non-adjustable, I would really appreciate it, since I highly doubt that I will load them up.

Tweaking settings isn't a priveledge. It's a right.

It takes a Village to raise a Child, but only 1 Idiot to raze the Village.

Resident Evil 5 and Metro 2033 are two I know are locked out; I have these games and I have tested it myself and seen many others say the same so I am sure it isn’t just me. Someone above said Aion too, but I don’t play this game so I can’t vouch for it personally.

I agree, if I wanted a canned experience fed to me I would save money and just play console.

Oh really?! TY for tell me! :) I will find that and bookmark it.

I am not really trying to play Metro2033 yet until I get my 480s cause my dual 285s cant produce, what i feel are, acceptable framerates in 3d. (I am hard headed and don't want to turn the graphics down)

20-50 is about the range I see.

I have a problem though. I am extremely sensitive to low fps. I really bought my AW2310 for 120hz refresh to smooth quick motions out for the sake of counter-strike:source. I got the 3D kit just for fun and ended up loving it. Its got some problems but overall well worth it.

Convergence used to work in Aion; whatever they did to frak up the driver settings seems to have locked it. /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I'm really irritated at this, too. nVidia, for some unknown reason, took the game I previously touted as the best I had ever seen in stereoscopic 3d and borked the drivers so that it's now unplayable. Nice job, nVidia. If this is what you have in mind for adding games to your supported list, then thank goodness you've kept your hands off lotro all this time. Fwiw, Static, if Aion is that important to you, you should revert back to driver version 191 or earlier -- Aion wasn't officially supported, but it worked flawlessly.

The simple way to test convergence is to zoom in on something bright and then press and hold alt+F5 for a few seconds. You should see the focus change to/from objects in the foreground to/from objects in the mid/background slightly. You may also see a "doubling" of the image as it separates (or "convergence" of the image as it comes together, as the case may be). It works in most games.

For the longest time I thought the latest drivers were borked...turns out there is a setting in the nvidia control panel to enable/disable "advanced in-game settings" under "keyboard shortcuts". Dont know if this helps the original poster or not...
