GTX 480's SLI & 3D Surround - Who's GOT IT?!
  1 / 5
So Newegg has sold out on any GTX 480's that come in. So does anyone on this forum have a pair? I want to see if someone is finally experiencing the goodness of NVIDIA 3D Surround /geek.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':geek:' /> Curious on frame rates and if you can run all games on 3 monitors natively now.

I don't think they have shipped to the regular consumer as yet, Availability was set at around the 16th of April

Probably reviewers or the most early pre-orders are the ones who have them already, not to mention that there is still no official driver with 3D Vision Surround support yet. And just today a 3D Vision driver and an official GPU driver for GTX 470 and GTX 480 was made available for the general public... ;)

Because of ppl like me. if my system runs on average 30fps per eye in 3d sorround under dx9 or 10 then there is no way I'd buy 2 480s for maybe 10 to 20 more frames per eye

they need ppl to be forced to buy the fermi's (except for those who are overflowing with cash)

No i do not. Running max on 3 monitors is not realistic with only 2 cards and 3 monitors.

Each card has 2 DVI connectors so you can have up to 4 monitors. What do you mean not realistic? lol. The new generation of cards is all about multi-monitor gaming.
