A few questions:

Their site says Windows 7 only, is that true (no Vista)?

Will it work with the Viewsonic?

Will it work with any BD drive?

Will it work with the GTX285?

Thanks.
im running windows 7 so i can't answer that but as far as the BD drive yes it should be any drive, as far as im aware ony the new 400 series graphics cards are compatable with 3DBD playback unless someone else can varify it, im running the samsung monitor and it works fine even though nvidia's system requirements page says its not compatable. hope this helps and someone can answer the questions i couldn't.

note to add, there has been reports of no sound during playback in cinema mode, which i have the problem too. hopefully cyberlink will address this issue soon.

I dont know about Vista but it works in 7 fine. I dont see why it wouldnt work in Vista.

I have a Viewsonic PJD-62203D and it works aweosme for BD3D playback.

I have the cheapest BD drive that is out right now - Lite-On 4X SATA Blu-ray ROM Drive IHOS104-06 - $50 from Amazon.

I am using one GTX 260 and BD3D playback works awesome!

wow nvidia are really getting their info wrong, according to them and cyberlink only the 400 series cards are meant to play blu-ray, maybe its a ploy to make everyone upgrade their graphics cards!!, well its good to know now i don't have to spend £300 for a new one for my media center.

Nowhere on NVidia's or Cyberlink's site could I find it reference that only the 400 series cards could play 3D Blu-Rays. Perhaps you were incorrectly referring to the part referencing GPU hardware accelerated playback only being available on the 400 series cards.

I wonder if this converts 2D Blu Ray to 3D Blu Ray. I updated, but I am not at home to test. Does anybody know? That would be beautiful! If not, I can always back up the blu ray to my pc and simply play the files, but it would be far easier to have it just work. lol. If not, Cyberlink needs to get on top of this right away. It would make them very viable while we wait for more 3D Blu Rays to actually be available on store shelves. :)

I believe that it might be something to do with acceleration of some sort or something like that. Possibly even something to do with a codec? What does everybody else think?

Yes. those are the requirements for 3D Blu-Ray playback with GPU Hardware Acceleration. If you have a GeForce 200 series card you would still be able to play the 3D Blu-Ray, but it would not be Hardware Accelerated by the GPU and all processing will be offloaded onto the CPU.

Windows Vista and Windows XP are obsolete operating systems now which is why they aren't supported. Cyberlink just didn't want to waste the money supporting those operating systems. The software could work 100% correctly on them, but Cyberlink isn't going to test them. Basically YMMV with those OS's.
Yea, you have to select 120hz sequential no matter what if your using the nvidia 3d vision kit. Other wise the glasses dont turn on. I have a dlp, and I can select 3d ready tv and get the 3d image on my tv but no emitter or glasses.
I have the same problem. I'm using a GTX295, Win7, Mits 73" DLP and trail version of PowerDVD10 Mark II.
My 3D vision emitter will not turn on when I select 3D ReadyHDTV but I do get a nice double 3D image on the screen. Looks sweet!!

BUT...If I select 120hz sequential Monitor then the emitter turns on but NO 3D image on screen.

Anyone have PDVD Mark II working on a Mits DLP?? If so, how do you turn on the emitter?

I have mark II working on a samsung dlp with windows 7 i7920 at 3.4ghz my gpu is a 9800gtx+ (i guess my cpu is handeling the most part of the blue-ray playing since my gpu dont support it ) but i also have my blue-ray movies in a 50gig iso file that i mount with daemon tools lite and i must say these movies (CWACM IA3 MvsA n Caroline) are the crap on my dlp (the best 4 3d i think)the picture is beautiful the 3d effects r good also so i hope you get it working on that 73 dlp you do have to have the settings set to 120hz sequential Monitor make sure enable bd 3d playback is checked also good luck let me know if you get it working peace

I have a GTX 260 and a Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ 120 Hz monitor. Prior to 3D Blu-ray software being available I had to set my display to 60hz to play Blu-ray movies on my PC. I didn't know until yesterday that the Cyberlink Mark II had been released. Last week I bought ArcSoft's TotalMedia Theatre 3 with its 3D plug-in expecting that the player software would resolve this issue since it was intended to be compatible with 3D Vision. It didn't. I had to buy AnyDVD HD (approx. $100) and have it running in the background in order to play "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs" in 3D. Everything is working great now, but I'm reading that several of you have a GTX 260 and are able to play Blu-ray 3D discs. If you also use a Samsung SyncMaster 2233RZ monitor, did you need to use AnyDVD HD or did the Cyberlink Power DVD 10 with Mark II work without needing it? I'm also wondering if the Cyberlink 3D software is better than Arcsoft's. Has anyone tried both? I see that Nvidia is reselling the Cyberlink software. Wondering if it is superior enough to justify spending another $100. Wish I hadn't been so impulsive whe the Arcsoft 3D solution became available.

3D Vision didn't work under XP to begin with (unless using a Quadro) so I don't know why they stipulated that. I would like to know what technical issue stops it from working on Vista (if there is one). I sent a email to Cyberlink. Maybe they'll send an answer.
