3d vision emitter problem due to windows Update
I'm making some demos in Unity3d using Stereoscopic3d from direct X. Recently few days ago the emitter stopped working for active glasses whenever we used the 3D based on direct X but it works when I test the app using NVIDIA 3D test. I have confirmed this flaw using pot player which has options to use windows stereo. I believe this issue is caused from windows update as I have clean reinstalled the drivers using DDU with problem still persisting. Has anyone else had this problem? OS : Windows 10 Build 10.0.17134. Monitor : Benq XL 2411 144 Hz ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: The application refresh rate is set to 72 by default. When I force my app to set the refresh rate to 60/120 the emitter starts to work.

As a first time poster, a few things to be aware of.... This is a user to user support forum and while you will not get any official support, it's full of helpful people. If you like to game, be sure to check out the stereoscopic patches found at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html If while making these demos, if you find shaders that are not being stereoized or hud problems, etc..., you can troubleshoot and solve them using 3Dmigoto. Which Windows update? There was one that definitely caused problems for many of us with monitors that refreshed at 144Hz. Setting the monitor to 120Hz fixed the problem.

@D-Man11 Thanks for the info but I dont want to incorporate 3D migoto as this is I believe resulted from windows update and I'm hoping someone may have come across similer issues with DX11 stereo. @Zloth Sadly I'm unaware which windows patch started as my colleague was using it at the time when this issue popped up. He currently came up with a small fix by setting the RefreshRate value in Registry to 60 with which we are able to run the games with emitter. Forcing the refreshrate via system registry is one way I believe.
