Probably would partly work over HDMI, since both laptop and monitor have HDMI. You would probably be limited to 720p in that case, but I'd expect it to work with 3D Vision.
Outside of that, you might be able to get it to work with a mini-displayport (laptop) to displayport adapter (monitor).

Thank you for your answers,
just a questions it's possible to use 3D vision with mini displayport (my laptop) to displayport(screen) ??
and how i can use HDMI 1.4, because in the nvidia panel i can not put my screen in 120hz when it's connect by HDMI?
I'd expect it to work over DisplayPort, but I've never used a setup like that. You can conceivably use a Displayport to DVI adapter, but other people know more about that than I. Bandwidth and performance are a concern. 3D is very demanding on bandwidth.
This link gives some details and says the Displayport can support frame-sequential, which is what you need for 3D Vision glasses.

The HDMI should work, but like I said, only at 720p can you use 120Hz. HDMI 1.4 does not have enough bandwidth to handle 1080p frame-sequential.

i put my resolution screen to 720p but with the nvidia panel i can just choose between 60hz or 50hz,
anyone can discribe me what i have to do. i connect my laptop to my screen with a HDMI 1.4.
please i really want to use 3D vision :/

It's possible that the monitor does not support 120hz over hdmi. You might need to talk to Asus.
You could add custom resolutions in the nvidia control panel, but it might not work.

Yeah, bummer. I looked up the manual, and agree that monitor does not support 120Hz over HDMI. Most 3D monitors do, it's a strange thing to lock out via firmware. (Might require HDMI 1.4a though.)
That means your only hope will be a DP adapter to DualLink-DVI. There are concerns with fast enough speed on the adapter, and whether it requires an active/powered adapter. I'm not clear on those specifics, so I'll let someone else suggest.
Edit: Seems like if you have a mini-DP to normal DP adapter and cable, that it will work to use DP. The table in the monitor manual shows "DVI/DP" for 1080p@120Hz, suggesting that DP should work.

Salut,
J' ai eu exactament le meme probleme que toi.
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/658326/vg278he-dvi-d-dual-link-to-mini-display-port-adapter/#4052832
Bonne chance

i receved the cable (DP -> miniDP) yesterday, and i enjoyed 3D all the night. it's amazing !!!!
Thanks very much to everyone who try to help me during this week :)
I just purchased the ASUS VG248/144hz 3D monitor for my ASUS G750JH Notebook, and let me tell you I have been going through hell trying to get it to run 3D, considering the ASUS web site states that this notebook runs 3D on the installed notebook monitor. Come to find out the models sold in the US do not come with a 3D compatible monitor!
So I bought the VG248 monitor just to find out that the video cable that it comes with wont fit to the notebook, and as stated here, HDMI will not work for 3D! ARG, Another road block!
I found this thread and thought there might still be hope for me yet! So I searched around town, actually I searched MANY towns around home, and all I could find was a DP-mini adaptor that goes from DP-mini to DVI. I was hopeful that this would work, but I'm still unable to have anything but 60hz refresh rate. I'm thinking that this is because I am going from DP-mini to DVI, and there is something lost in translation so to say. Or is there some setting that I'm missing someplace? The spec sheet for the monitor says that it will go up to 144hz at 1920x1080 using DVI/DP connection?
Again I'm thinking it's because I'm going from DP to DVI that is the issue, so I've ordered a DP to DP-Mini cable as well, and I hope this works! I'm going crazy trying to watch 3D Movies, and play games, and this is on a computer that ASUS says that I can run 3D on right out of the box!
