Unfortunately I can't search this massive thread as I'm sure this has already been answered....
Is there a way for the NPC nametags and monster health bars to *not* appear at the same depth as the HUD? I like my HUD at screen depth, but then the labels and health bars for NPC's are screen depth as well.
Thanks for this AMAZING mod now that I have time to play the Witcher 3 for the first time!

I used to prefer UI at screen depth, but this usually creates problems so I have changed my stance over time to now prefer UI at a certain amount of depth as well. (especially if you have to deal with mouse cursor issues. But, personally to resolve this problem I use two mods.
Friendly HUD and
Monsters life at top of screen.
Friendly hud is a must have for 3d vision imo as it can be setup to only show UI elements in a context sensitive way.
The life mod being put similar to how boss life bars appear gets around the annoying issue of hud depth over the monsters head and it's not such a problem anymore.
These two things along with the amazing community fix have elevated this to my best 3d vision title of all time.

I'll have to try that Immersive cam mod at some point, I just thought it looked a bit complicated to setup especially since I am using a Controller with this game with a mod that allows instant access to all Signs in real time. I guess I'll try it out and spend some time customizing the cameras since I have no more hotkey room.

I actually turned the HUD off early in the game then quit playing for several weeks. When I came back, I forgot that there was supposed to even be a HUD and played through the entire first area of the game without it. You do have to check the map kinda often to see where you're supposed to go but Witcher 3 is very playable with no HUD at all.

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.
I tweaked settings for the absolute camera mod so that I can toggle to 1st person view with the 4th button on my mouse. I have the 5th mouse button set to disable the HUD completely. The game world is amazing to walk around in with 3D Vision in 1st person view and the HUD disabled. :)

Yeah ZlothX, its pretty playable but Friendlyhud makes it perfect.
You don't need to turn off the HUD, the mod does everything for you, displaying elements only when it's necessary and is completely configurable.
I am basically running around with no hud at all, it is off in options. but certain elements of my choosing will activate for example when drawing a weapon. (life bar and such.) and the Mini map when witcher senses is activated. (you can change to a toggle as well.)
It's a must have. makes the game a dream in 3dvision.

i use two EVGA 980 Ti 6GB FTW cards with a 4790k processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. the game played beautifully when I was playing to beat it, but now the performance is not so great as it used to be. it used to be around 80 FPS. Now when i change the SLI bits to Assassin's Creed Rouge or whatever, I get the flickering of shadows. There was a recent patch that fixed it, but then it went right back to flickering with the newest patch. Other games play fine. Oh well at least the game played well when it mattered most. I still would have liked to go back and do other quests and wander around. If anyone here can help me I would appreciate it. Witcher 3 is one of my fav games T_T

Don't change the SLI BITS.
The ones from the current Driver works perfectly fine;) (and I am using 3D Surround + 2x980Ti, so you can imagine the "stress")
The AC: Rogue SLI bits always flickered as long as anything that was custom!

oh thank you! when I use the regular Witcher 3 SLI settings in the Inspector, it seems that only one graphics card is working. Is this because of the new Windows Update do you think? Thanks again for helping me out, I really really appreciate it, you are very kind.

That is strange. I see SLI working on both cards here with the default profile.
I can give you my profile and see if this will work better for you?
(I think I added a few things in there;)
