i own a 50" 3D-Ready Plasma and i laugh in each ZALMAN's owner's face.

Nvidia seriously wants to sell Zalman's 22" displays and is offering this as the "ultimate" solution - and in anyone else's face they throw a pair of cheap $1 red/blue glasses and call it quits.

If you EVER gamed on a 50" screen in front of you will laugh with me - and i dont even mention the added "3D" capability.

Owning a 22" LCD already (which is *totally* dwarved by a 50" set :) i immediately exluded ANY 3D option for myself using a 22" - since the field of view is just way too small on a 22" to create even a halfway realistic field-of-view/3D experience.

Ever since i saw my first IMAX 3D movie i know how important FOV and size of the screen is...this is why i got the 50" in the first place. FOV in my opinion is the most important factor, followed by how 3D is implemented.

If you have a sucky 3D implementation...a big-screen 2D gaming experience is still way better for immersion than a BAD 3D quality on a tiny 22" "fish-tank" monitor.

People with your tiny 22" "Zalmans"..i can happily invite you and then we can compare what is more impressive....a 22" monitor-size Zalman "3D" or a screen which fills your whole view in front of you almost like in IMAX.

As owner of a big 3D screen i sign this since the "Zalman 22" only" support is the most ridiculous thing ever, for every Samsung, Mitsubishi owner, for every owner of Vista, for every HMD and shutter glasses owener, for every DLP projector owner

I also ned to add that i do NOT think that NV drivers can be in state for too long:

The reason is that "3D ready" implementation in recent HDTV sets literally costs nothing for the manufacturer - the "3d ready" feature is merely a spin-off/feature of texas instruments DLP chip...it doesnt cost anything more to have a HDTV 3d ready.
More and more manufacturers equip their sets now with "3d ready"....this making more and more consumers with those sets.
I also predict soon DLP projector manufacturers implementing this also, once they realize they have a "zero cost" oportunity to add this as a feature to their projectors.
The more devices get this ability, the more customerrs get those devices with the "free" 3D capability....the closer 3D is getting to becoming "main stream".
And Nvidia cannot sit there forever and give all those people "anaglyph" using a pair of cheap red/blue glasses and push Zalman as the best thing since sliced bread....and make them believe a Zalman 22" is a better experience than their 3D ready Plasmas/DLPs/Projectors.

So to speak..it would be in NV's interest to re-activate "active development" and dedication in regards to 3D drivers and the current developments in regards to HDTV sets, DLPs and "3D Ready" and NOT focus on just to push ONE single brand and size of monitor as 3D solution.
