The 220 isnt on the supported list, and i am pretty sure you need a 450w psu

It is not in the list, but it works with 3D Vision. The only problem is that its performance is not enough for gaming in stereo 3D...

yeah you will have a bad experience with 3d vision on a weak gpu, because it can not render enough frames to keep the games running smooth.. i had to sell my gtx 260 for that matter.

hey bloody yeah thats kind of why i chose to go with the gt 220 as i went on to the nvidia website

and Aquaknoxgood lord the gtx 260 wasn't powerful enough /shock.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> as i got rid of mine a couple of weeks ago /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

rite down to the point as you are all wondering why i went for the gt 220 and sold my gtx 260
I have my own place now and wanted to build a very small itx system that can be my everything for the living room etc: my freeview, hi-fi, blu-ray player and games console all in one but i want the added fetcher of the 3d any ideas or have any of you seen a low profile graphics card good enough for some reason my mind is saying a NO NO

The 9600 GT and the GT 240 are very close to each other in terms of gaming performance. Both are way better than the GT 220, though I doubt you'll be getting very playable framerates with 3D Vision in recent games. The fastest low profile card I know of is the Sparkle GTS 250, which should be fast enough for 3D Vision in most games.
If you're looking for 3D BluRay support, the GT 240 is probably the card you want, since it appears to be the only 200 series card supporting the feature, at least according to the system requirements. The GT 240 is also probably the better fit for your 300 W power supply; the GTS 250 might draw too much power.

It all depends on how much performance you actually need. If you want to play the latest and greatest games with all details maxed out and 1080p resolution in 3D Vision, even a GTX 285 is going to be too slow in some cases. If you can live with medium details and moderate resolutions, a GT 240 or 9600 GT might be just fine.
