Problems with IR receiver losing signal? Games minimize?
As the title mentions, my games minimise sporadically whilst 3d is on. They then come back and are fine again. I've noticed the same time this happens the green light on the IR emitter flashes on and off. It stays green the entire time and it'll flash until the game re maximises itself. Any immediate clues here? Bought a bunch of new stuff for 3d and i've ran the games on the different stuff separately to rule it out. Changed to a 9800gt and an asus vg236. Any advice appreciated, thanks in advance folks!
EDIT: Just to add, have changed my setup to the "multiple lans" setup and have moved my iphone, mac mini with bluetooth keyboard, etc out of the room to no avail.

Noone with any suggestions? £500 for upgrades for a 3d system that doesn't bloody work =( tried wow, eve, lfd, lfd 2, all the same! screen goes black and sometimes minimises game. The nvidia icon flashes green just as this happens.
EDIT: also tried battlefield 2 bad company and the screen instantly goes white and i have to get to task manager to close it down.

Make sure the USB connector you have the IR emmiter is plugged into is configured as "always on" in Windows. Try another USB connector if you have one available. The ones directly on the motherboard would probably give better results than ones on your case for example.

I have what sounds like a similar problem to you, i found out what was causing it but there is no fix at its a general windows problem (according to other forums anyway) using windows 7 btw.
Go to control panel > administrative tools > Event viewer and check under the "system" logs and see if there is a yellow warning about display, when you look at it, it will say something like "display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered" this is whats happening when your games do that.
This is the cause of it for me, its like it minimizes the game and then goes back to it, takes about 4-5 seconds in total, really annoying sometimes. When i looked into it further it looks like its also something to do with the windows desktop manager as there are errors about that at the same time as these nvidia errors. This is supposedly a common problem since windows vista with no proper fix, yet i had never had this happen before i got the 3D vision kit. Not blaming the 3D kit as i have tried completely uninstalling it all and it still does it, so its either something in the nvidia drivers or a windows update thats messed it up.
If you don't have any errors like that then i have no idea what it is, sorry.
