I have two quadro 4000 unfortunatly they are not SLI ready.
When I made stereoscopic rendering with OpenGL, I have correct sync on the card linked to the 3d Vision emitter but not the second one.
Is it possible to sync G-sync on both card using opengl or anything else to have the same sync signal?
Have you tried using the mosaic desktop feature? It pretty much does the surround like function stuff directly without needing an add-on bridge connector. It may just lock the vertical retrace as well (haven't tried the 4000s in both a composite arrangement and stereo).
I don't believe the 4000 supports gsync cards either (it does sport the connection for SLI/Gsync on the top of the pcb though but not enabled).
I haven't answered your question though regarding software genlocking.
