Vermintide - good 3D vision support - with pics

Thanks a lot for your efforts DJ-RK. Hud fix is great. I don't know if there is something with me setup or its because I am using the ACIV SP profile, as I have been playing in compatibility mode (which is actually pretty good in this game) but things are pretty broken for me even with the shaders off. It's more than the shadows, a lot more. I guess I go back to the default profile and see if it makes difference. Also I am not sure what settings you guys run but mine is on maximum detail at 1080p

Default profile here, no CM, 358.50 driver. Inside inn is perfect, outside has some minor broken lighting effects, but definitely not gamebreaking at all.

Vermintide is very fun to play. Combat is excellent, especially the combination of medieval melee and primitive gunpowder weapons. If I had a stronger cpu/gpu, I would try playing in 3D.

Try compatibility mode Partol, I think performance isn't so much of a factor. As it stands its back to it for now for me. I don't know if I am seeing something different than what you guys are, but at this point the CM mode is better due to quite a number of broken lighting shaders, and something else I cant put my finger on, and I like shadows. I wouldn't say it's unplayable, with the real fix but it's not comfortable for me compared to the CM mode at this point and I'm pretty sensitive to 3d support after playing all the 3d ready fixes over the years. Great work so far though the HUD fix is perfect. I'm still learning myself, hopefully someone can step in and help with the other things.

Feel free to post some screenshots if you want me to compare yours against mine. Also, there are 3 different shadow settings, IIRC, one is sun shadows, and another one I can't remember off the top of my head (will edit this later after I check), and the 3rd one being # of shadows to be cast from different light sources. First two are on/off toggles, and the last one is a slider. Turn the toggles to off and the slider all the way down to 0. Also, as per the default profile instructions: change AA to FXAA and motion blur to off.

So I've updated my fix. v0.2 changelog: -Fixed additional HUD elements (map selection glow, overcharge bar, certain forge elements) -Pushed the 2 background moon shaders to depth -Change preset cycle button to \ to prevent accidental cycling while chatting DL Link: http://www.mediafire.com/download/mp146z24ofkzao1/Warhammer_Vermintide_Fix_v0.2.zip Required settings: Sun Shadows = Off Local Light Shadow Quality = Off Max Shadow Casting Lights: 1 Anti-Aliasing = FXAA (or off) <-- Pretty sure this is the main culprit for your issue, Necro. TXAA really breaks the game Really having a lot of fun with this one, which is why I'm determined to try to fix this one completely (if possible), even though it's a perfectly playable experience as in this state. Still trying at learning how to fix the lights and shadows, but it's not easy at all. I may make another fix disabling broken effects, but to be honest they really don't bother me that much with them on. Hope more of you get on this one and enjoy!

Yeah the fix is really a huge improvement to the vanilla version of the game. Some weird lightning and shadow effects less and the game would be perfect. Attached some pics with the new version of the fix, as asked for. :)

I find you have to take 2 screenshots in a row, one will bring up the overlay and take a ss of that, and the second time will cancel the overlay and then take a ss of the proper image. Really glad the fix is making the game even more enjoyable for you guys! :)

I would love to try this for this reason alone:
- Has PERFECT SLI SCALING (No artefacts, no flickering, double the frame-rate from normal profile)
If your claim is true, then I'm sure the whole Vermintide community would be ecstatic for this (even non-3DV users), as that's one of the main things being requested on their own forums, however I'm completely unable to reimport the Nvidia profiles after modifying them (or even the unmodified dump I made). I've tried both Nvidia Inspector and Geforce 3D Profile Manager. Inspector says profiles cannot be imported and Profile Manager gives "ERROR: There was a problem importing the settings from disk", and yes, I followed the steps in your sticky guide, but there was no nvdrssel.bin file to be deleted. Everything else was straight forward. Unfortunately I've always found this method very hit and miss. I was able to do this before for the SW: Battlefront beta profile you provided, which was surprising because I tried this quite some time before that and it didn't work then either, and now here I am back to square one where it doesn't work again. As far as I can tell it gets broken by certain driver updates, or from faulty driver installs. I'm currently running driver 358.50, and I'll try updating to the latest tomorrow. Mind sharing what driver you're using Helifax?
