horizontal Span
Hello,

I have been patiently waiting for the Windows 7 drivers to catch up with the window XP drivers.

It appears my wait is still not over, but I am really not sure. I am not even sure if horizontal spanning is even going to be supported. I have seen references to spanning in Windows 7 but nothing of a download or instructions.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit with a Nvidia 285/1GB. I installed the 197.45 drivers. I have successfully setup the 3D Vision Discover and see 3D effects with the colored glasses. I am using two 30" 2560x1600 displays. The Screens are not 120Hz.

I cannot find in the Nvidia control panel any way to setup the two displays to appear as 5120x1600 in Windows 7 so that I may run Direct X applications across the two screens as I do in Windows XP.

Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

currently that is not possible on the Nvidia cards. In a few weeks, or months they will provide 3d sorround drivers that may enable you to span multiple similar monitors for gaming. (Directx)
