Civilization VI .. what's the word now that it is out? Is it stereo or is it messed up like the beyond earth fiasco? It always used to be great stereo before that with civ V and the like. Anyone try it yet?

you are correct. It works! A beautiful game. The only concession for stereo seems to be turning off shadows, otherwise it is as good as it was before the beyond earth engine was used (whatever that was?). water may have a few issues w reflections but overall very good.
I almost wished it hadn't worked. Now I have just lost a hundred hours or so. No willpower. 'just one more turn!"

I can confirm, reflexions are an issue.
the overlay informations (unit badges, city names...) are disturbing when zooming in (sorry for my bad english)
EDIT: overlays are at screen depth, this is not good for all zoom levels
Couldn't resist and both the game :)

Actually there is a sweet spot for convergence where shadows work just fine. A little less toyfication than in Skawen's screenshots, and shadows are almost perfect. They are really nice to have on with the time of day option on so you can see the progression of the sun and moon in day and night. The labels take some getting used to but quite playable. Hopefully there will be a mod soon so you can toggle them on and off.
