That is weird indeed, there was nothing offical other than the update in the launcher for wow. I have played the game with 90% depth plus convergance and got great results. My minimaps were perfect and i could read all text in onscreen and in the windows..................... I just relaunched the game and had the same results as befor but now my talents window is messed but the others are fine. I have played with the nv mapped controls and used the game sliders with both giving good results...............hummmmmmm

I was escalated a couple of weeks ago to the Senior Engineers in Nvidia Tech Support. I received a similar response that they recognize there is an issue and that Blizzard is working on a solution to be installed with the next patch. Since then, there have been 1 or 2 patches and nothing to fix this issue, so that was a lie or misinformation. I also went on an on about the ranking of this game and they stated the same thing, that last year when it was tested it was excellent. Anyway, yes, they admit there is a problem, Blizzard ignores the post on their technical support forums (that I posted a few weeks ago) and I am going to write to the BBB because I think they owe me $800 for the monitor and kit that wasn't as advertised. They should at least show some good will or something and offer all of us a gift card for at least the kit to allow us to get another graphics card (so I can have 2 GTX 280s) lol, but seriously I am reporting them as well as people recommend here because changing the rating doesn't reimburse us, the victims of false advertising who just recently purchased a new monitor and kit bundled together.Especially since this has been an ongoing issue for 6+ months. Maybe I'll cool down if I actually see a fix in the month of June.

Yeah this waiting game is very frustrating. I replied to the NVidia rep that answered my BBB complaint earlier in the week asking when we should see the actual patch in WoW. Here is his response:

"We’re hoping to get code from Blizzard to test this week or next. Once verified, my guess is that it will be in their public test realm shortly after that, and probably a month or so after that before it gets in the official patch release. But we don’t want to speculate on Blizzard’s schedule, so we’ll post a reply on the Forum after we have a chance to verify things are working well."

Unfortunately with the way WOW patches cycle out to the servers, it's probably the best we can hope for. That combined with ongoing Cataclysm development, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see a fix from Blizzard before Cataclysm.

The real way to fix this, is for a Blizzard dev to be playing WOW in 3D on a regular basis. There is nothing like a dev not being able to play to get something fixed ;)

Nah I dont think the patch changed anything with 3D, it hasnt been released in the EU yet but I had been playing on the PTR realms and I never noticed any changes with it.

I dont know but I think it will be released in the last wotlk patch (the one that will have all the big talent tree updates).

I had LOADS of artifacts and minifreezes and one crash after the update. After a restart it seems to have stopped most of the shutters and i have no artifacts now................with 1.15
Ok. I finally got my 3d vision.

Took me some hours to set it up but i finally got it working with Wow.

Here are my comments and questions.

1- Why cant i get pass 60fps? I get 120+ all the time even in lagaran.. i know the gpu is rendering twice the images but i never pass 60 :(
2- Wished the hud wasnt on 2d.. my eyes hurt from trying to adjust to the hud each time..
3- Looks amazing.. but needs a little more push. :) since i cant see the hud because my eyes need to re focus constantly i feel it dimishes my gaming performance sometimes :(

i cant go back to the old drives because i have the new acer
Is it completely unplayable for you?

This is going to be a long long wait untill we see a fix and I hope blizzard doesnt break it again.
