Help with 3D TV Play
So I now have a compatible GFX card, TV and the latest driver and activated the software. Now how do I get 3D to work in TF2? Is there something I need to do? Its enabled in the control panel. In TF2 I try doing control + t and nothing happens. Is it because of Steam?

I really want to get this working, the preview images worked fine during install.

Did you buy 3DTV Play?

Did you run the setup wizard?

Did you get the nvidia test logo working?

Is TF2 running at 1280x720?

Should have nothing to do with steam. All my games are in steam and they work fine with 3DTV Play.

3DTV Play is broken, it can't do native res 1920x1080. You must D/L the free trial of TriDef 3D and/or iZ3D.

Yes HDMI 1.4 is limited to 720p@60hz or 1080p@24hz.

TriDef won't display 1080p@60hz either. It will do 1080@30 hz per eye giving you 60hz total, where as nvidia is doing 720@60 hz per eye or 120hz total.

TriDef and iZ3D will do 1920x1080 at 60 3D frames per second. So will 3D Vision on non-HDMI1.4 TVs.

I really have to ask you to clarify your posts since you are not providing accurate information to many users on these forums.

There is current no TV on that market that can do 1920x1080 native resolution at 60Hz.

I have reminded you constantly that 3DTV Play was designed with the HDMI 1.4 formats of 720p60, 720p50, and 1080p24. We listed that on our product detailed page, user guide, and everywhere in the forums.

I have also posted that we are going to likely add checkerboard support as well to future 3DTV Play software.

This mode of 1920x180 at 30Hz will hurt your eyes. Why would you want to run at that mode?

Soooo I see the 3D resolutions in the Nvidia CP and I even set them to 1080p 3D which worked. When I go into TF2 however, 3D is not activated and doing control T changes nothing. Ingame resolution is also set to 1080p.

hmmm, I thought I said you had to set your ingame resolution to 1280x720@60hz in order for 3dtv play to work with TF2. The resolution of 1920x1080p in the nVidia control panel that's listed under "3D" will set your computer to 24hz. Thats why it appears to work in windows but not in TF2. Set TF2 to either 1920x1080@24hz (which alot of games won't give the option) or 1280x720@60hz otherwise 3DTV Play will not work.
