Acer 24" 1080p to Acer 5360 110" 720p. Wont the resolution loss ruin the image?
I've currently got the Acer 24" and am really considering the Acer projector. I already have the screen witch I use with my Epson 6500 projector and it's 110". Now I'm afraid of going from a 24" 1080p to a 110" 720p. Won't going to a 720p especially with that size make the image more blurry, soft, and wouldn't you start noticing pixels? How many of you folks came from the Samsung or Acer or Alienware monitor which all offer higher resolution, to the Acer 720p projector?

Can you share your experiences from going from a high res monitor to a low res projector?

This is my last concern before I get the Acer 5360. I think these threads will help alot of people as I believe the Acer 5360 will be hugely popular on these boards.

the idea is that you are sitting further away from the screen looking at a larger screen. That should compensate for the lowering of your resolution.

From my experience, resolution isn't all it is cracked up to be. My 42" 720p (1024x768) plasma kicks the ever loving crap out of my 52" 1080p LCD as far as picture quality is concerned. Both games and movies look a lot better on it, even when comparing to PC games running at full 1080p on my 52" LCD. The best bet is to try and see one in action. I am willing to bet you will be pleasantly surprised.
