Past that there is absolutely insane amount of Exclusives which are just Amazing. Sony got such a strong relations with really good developers and that`s why I am going for it as second gaming platform. Really, there is so many that it is impossible to remember them all. Lots of it isn`t officially announced yet. Hopefully Resident Evil will be on PC as well. Forgot what was in the news note. Little bit sad that I have to go for it all in 2D or weak VR experience. I don`t expect their VR to be anything close to PC`s.

Wait.. Resident Evil 7 will NOT be on PC??? Uncharted 4 (as the whole series...pff) I actually bought a PS3 for that game as it was soo highly praised... I returned the console after 3 days. The game lacks "substance" in my opinion. Nicely graphics execution but... Uncharted 4 more of the same stuff... Last of Us - Movie turned game....enough said. I actually played it and it was cool! But replayability = -100. I would rather watch a movie more times than play that game again. They went overboard with the scripted sequences and stuff in the game, but again that is my opinion. The game is great nevertheless, just can't play it the 2nd time... The only God of War I would want to play is the first one actually, where the story was awesome and interesting, they should remake that one. I am interested in the Last Guardian though...but I don't think it will be the "old game". I could be wrong though;) All the rest are MEH at BEST IMO. The ones that I am interested apparently will be released next year:( (or November-December this year) Guess I'll start to play the older trilogies again until then ^_^ I am really interested on how those VR games will turn out though;) Hopefully not some dumbed down graphics and "point and click" to move around...

All consoles being PC XBOX ONE PS4 Its listed at end of video. ---------------------- I agree about Uncharted 4. I don't regret playing it once but it was lacking. I never felt like a part of the game. The story was okay, but I always felt like a spectator. Not a part of the game. It seemed to be moving this direction with each subsequent game. Last of Us is in my top 5 games. I do agree about lack of replayabilty though. This is why I am a big fan of skill trees/rpg elements in games. It has some but it doesnt really change game in a way like Dishonored does. Last of us offers "stealth" playthrough but the stealth is just not interesting in this game and there are too many forced encounters. Its also one of those games that get worse when you raise diffucity. I went to replay it and increase difficulty and what this does is give less item loot. Like you go into a room and instead of three items there are only 2. While it should of did something like add new properties to enemies or increase twitchiness/speed. Its really unfortunate that people outside of the states don't have something like Gamefly. It really made owning consoles worth it to me. There are games that I would of never considered if I had to purchase that just totally surprised me.
Resident Evil 7 is going to look sooo bad in Playstation VR. Its almost certainly 30FPS @ 1080P on Playstation 4. How they plan to achieve the playstation VR necessary specs is going to be a travesty. I am really conflicted about VR as of this E3. These are the games I want in VR Fallout 4, Resident Evil, [forget other game]. I want to be able to move in a game since it offers so much as far as narrative experience. It would be great to feel like your a part of a story which is something that almost no VR game offers yet. However, developers thus far have pretty much said movement is a no go due to a high percentage of people experiencing Nauseau. I really have not liked VR for most part thus far cause games based around standing still/warping are just meh as far as the Vive. Playing sport games, standing in one place shooters are just not my thing. EDIT: Fallout 4 is using teleporting... unless thats a non option I am not excited.
Tangentially related, I saw that Vireio has a new version out that supports Fallout 4. And... It is supposed to support room scale on Vive. No idea how well it works, but thought you might be interested in giving it a try.

@bo3b I heard but kind of avoided since anything with even half a buzz dealing with VR turned out to be a dissapointment thus far. No offense to people working on Vierio but the fact there is 0 buzz means its just not anywhere near ready. I think I wrote it poorly though but I am just not really interested in Roomscale tbh. Anything based on playing in a box/teleporting has really not quite panned out aside from Budget Cuts demo which I highly recommend. People often talk about freedom with VR but its just feels confined with roomscale games for most part. Either gameplay or narratively and more often then not both. I am very interested in Oculus's new controller since it seems to allow tradtional movement combined with the benefits of Vives. Unfortunately its probably not an option as a Vive owner. If I had to choose between freedom of movement in game world over freedom of movement in real world. I choose game world.

Many of these exclusives just look a tad on the gimmicky side, GOW doesn't even look like GOW anymore it's almost like they put a Kratos skin replete with manboobs into Farcry Primal. I agree with the sentiment that it seems there is nothing really new we just seem to get the same stuff repackaged with a different coat of paint. I'm dubious if they will end up actually being good games. Also with the graphical quality on display here I expect sub 30fps frame rates on console... Then I'm really suspicious that they are going to be able to pull of VR on the platform. Now a Tekken game finally got announced for PC (With a Competitive gameplay model that's been refined and stood the test of time for over 20 years now) I feel very liberated I won't have to waste money on a console this generation....

@helifax They are taking time from Assasins Creed pretty much. A game might not even be in development. The sales were abysmal on the last game even after relatively good reviews. Seriously no one bought it. If you look at steam its doesnt have bad reviews... it has very few. Games that came out recently have that were triple A like Doom and warhammer total war have 15,000 reviews. AC syndicate has 3,000 and came out over like 9 months ago. Dead by daylight has been out for a few hours and already has half that.

Sony killed it last gen, and they're killing it this gen. I enjoyed the hell out of Uncharted 4. I knew I was signing up for a heavily scripted cinematic title, and it delivered. It had some incredible setpieces, outstanding performances from the cast, and a pitch-perfect ending. I expect it to be my personal GOTY. I have a couple of PS4 exclusives that I've not yet played but expect to enjoy a lot (Bloodborne, Until Dawn), and there are a number coming up that I'm excited about (Horizon Zero Dawn, Detroit, LAST GUARDIAN GIVE IT TO ME NOW, possibly God of War). Meanwhile, the only game I've played on my Xbone is Halo 5 (which I did enjoy), with Sunset Overdrive waiting on my shelf. Maybe I'll play the new Gears, but there's not much to be excited about.

I dunno, I've watched a good chunk and the game industry seems stagnant to me and developers/publishers don't know where to go. Same shit differnet pile. I'd rather watch a 90 minute movie than these chopped up HD cut scenes. Games are becoming too high in production value and losing gameplay. I'll stick with my back log of older games in 3D Vision + Projector for now and follow VR industry trends. We need something that is really new and innovative instead of the same shit over and over again. Another Assasin's creed would be nauseam. HD this HD that, 4K this 2K that.....this is just not compelling or brings any more immersion. I will try the new DOOM though, I understand it has old school roots.....

Yupp new DOOM I personally like it a lot. It has some really cool "old school" roots. The level design is amazing and of course HORDE of demons to kill in multiple gory ways :)) I was amazed that I couldn't see a new RPG being announced, or did I miss it? I didn't follow the whole conferences but "scanned" though them.

No new RPGS. Lots of games with RPG / open world mechanics though. Aside from Skyrim Remaster on the horizon is Technomancer / Deus Ex/ Skyrim Remaster / Final Fantasy[PC MAYBE eventually] / Persona[no pc]. Dead by Daylight seems good but has some bugs. Not crazy bugs though. I didnt play it but watched a streamer for like an hour. I don't play MP games but I enjoyed it as a spectator.
