dual monitor stereoscopic viev without 3d vision
Hi, for week I'm trying to run dual monitor stereoscopic view, but I only enabled 3d vision discover /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />
Is there a solution, maybe in regedit, to enable 3d vision (not discover) without glasess?
This question was asked when I learn how to view stereoscopic images with crossing eyes :)
From that experience, I "need" to run games in this method.
Searching internet I noticed that my hardware support stereoscopic 3d (NVidia GTX 285) but it wont enable without glasess :(
Goal: left monitor shows right eye image, right monitor shows left eye image, then cross eyes and have 3D without this glasses on FULL HD :D
Help me please, i need to run this for my satisfaction :(

This (dual vga) only works with nvidia "old-school" drivers: 91.31driver+91.31stereo. These drivers only supports up to and including the 7900 cards and winxp at highest op-system.
Nvidia "common" stereosupport went away when the 8000 series of card was introduced. /ermm.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ermm:' />
You should be able to try either the iz3d-drivers and/or tridef ignition drivers. None are free both both have an evaluation period and both supports dual display on almost every hardware confoguration.
Be sure you only have one stereodriver enabled at a time since strange things might happen otherwise.

But is there any solution to activate it on regedit?
3d vision discover is able to activate via regedit, maybe that way? ;)

The nvidia discovery (anaglyphic stereo) doesn't require any tweaks. ;)

I know it's not possible trying to enable other options via regedit. Afaik noone has managed to unlock the later drivers for other stereosolutions than nvidias officially supported. It seems that the monitors edid matters more than regsettings for newer drivers to enable the 3d-visionmode.

Your best bet is iz3d-driver or tridef driver. Stereoscopic player from Peter Wimmer works great with dual projection so there's no lack of softwares for dual rigs though.

Last day I have tested IZ3D with stereoscopic single screen cross eye view. That gives me some fun of gaming, but I tested then 3D discover and use it to now, because depth is better than on iz3d cross eye, but lose colors /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' /> I'm ready to save some cash to buy 3D VISION. When I watch flying out to me NV logo in test I know that games in future use that technology to "jump into desk from monitor" :)

Thanks to all.
