Core 2 Quad 6600
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
PowerDVD 12
ASUS GeForce GT 520 silent
I have activated 3D steropscopic in nVidia control panel and it is set.
GT 520 is connected via HDMI 1.4 to external Denon avr-991 which is further connected to Epson 3010 3D LCD projector onto 135" screen.
The problem is that I am facing crosstalk/ghosting (not terrible but always visible to sensitive eye like mine) on most of the 3D Blu-ray movies so i contacted EPSON, USA support and they advised that Epson does not recommend at all using 3D HTPC due to crosstalk/ghosting these HTPCs produce and I should have to buy conventional 3D player in order to get rid of crosstalk/ghosting.
Now i dont know how much is that true or false but I want any one here to help me to get rid of this crosstalk or at least minimize it. My 3D steroscopic control is fixed on 15% depth and i cannot adjust it as this and every thing else is there grayed out and it says that to install 3DTV for full features.
Would there be any benefit to buy (40$) and install nVidia 3DTV? What other fetaures i shall be able to use. Would it control crosstalk/ghosting.
Is there any way around to adjust crosstalk/ghosting.

One thing that you might want to try is taking the Denon out of the loop. My receiver is 3D compatible and is on the list of supported receivers but it does not work well at all with my 3d projector. I am still using my receiver for audio, but not video. It is not ideal but it is the only solution that I could come up with.

I connected my projector directly without AVR and I still get same picture as I was getting through AVR, no difference and still there is crosstalk/ghosting.

3D Vision comes with a 3d photo viewer as well as a few game screenshots in 3D. Easily accessed at the end of the 3D Vision wizard. Do you have much crosstalk looking at still 3D images in another application.
Is the projector 3D in terms of being HDMI 1.4 or in terms of being 120hz more similar to a 3D Vision monitor. I would infer HDMI by your writing so far.
I'm not sure if 3DTV Play works with all or only some HDMI 1.4 devices.
Regardless it should be possible to disable 3D for nvidia and somehow have powerdvd handle the communication (it is able to bitstream for instance).

Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?
I am not sure if I quite followed you. I am not much into nVidia 3D Vision. All I know that I installed latest drivers (296.10) and then went to 3D stereoscopic control and click it as soon as i tick the box beside 3D stereoscopic after some seconds a window opens and then i click next then it check for right eye and left eye (while my glasses are on)and then next opens the medical test window and once i click the right medical diagram and then click next and then final windows says that 3D is now setup for 1080p@24Hz and then by clicking finish means coming out of the wizard. Then I play PowerDVD which changes my 2D resolution (1080p@60Hz) to 3D HD resolution 1080p@24Hz and then i am good to go to watch 3D movies with my glasses of my Epson 3010 projector which is 3D LCD projector rather 120Hz. This is how my setup is. Without activating 3D stereoscopic in nVidia control panel i cannot watch 3D BD via powerDVD. This is how nVidia works. But if there is any other way i would be delighted to test that.
