Zalman working in Vista ,,
Well, the official drivers ain't released yet, but I saw someone mention this a bit on another thread and after a bit downloading I have manged to get my vista machine to play on my 8800 GTS card in 3D using my 22" Zalman screen

The downfall is I can only play several demo games for free, but it works and will keep me entertiined until hopefuly the offical drivers are released this year,, COUGH or maybe next year at the last minute.

This is what I did.

1) download from http://www.tridef.com/download/latest.html
(Download the Free Playback software ( 26mb )

2) When installed I went to my start menu / Programs / DDD / Utilites / Control panel
( I kept my screen manafacturer to (Standard Display type)
Model = Line Interlaced
and thats it done don't touch the rest

Then I went to http://www.tridef.com/3dgames/3d-games.html
(here I found links to supported 3d demos- I downloaded Pro street racing demo and wow it looks wicked in 3D. (PS If you have the full game then it will split the screen hald 3D and half 2D - only the demo plays full screen 3D and don't forget to change the resolution to 1650 x 1050 or what ever its meant t be)

I then had o launch the demo from the TriDef Launch pad
start menu / Programs / DDD / Tridef Launch pad

Playing this in demo mode was enough for me as I would need to buy the full driver version for £2.50 if I want to play the full game and obviously I would need to also buy the full game.

Well even though this wont answer your dreams of playing all your games in 3D on the Zalman this will at least give you pleasure to see some games in 3D for free.

PS. One other great app that also came with it was the 2d to 3d converter software which I could view my movies in half screen 3D and had to teak a bit to have it look proper 3D but this looks amazing and great to see movies in 3D or naugty movies (cough)
Start menu / Programs / DDD / Tridef 3-D Experience
Once load goto view 3D movie or pics

Well have fun and let me know if this i usefull and how you get on :)

Hi staticbuddha,

I'll give this a look tonight, as i'm really keen to see the screen work even in demo mode.

Could you confirm which version Nvidia drivers you are using for your 8800GTS, also is your 8800GTS the older G80 type or the newer G92 512MB version.

Oruq do you fancy giving this a try as well ?
