If surround gaming is to be supported on our existing cards does that mean we'll finally be able to use those dormant DVI ports on the other cards? Prior to Big Bang I had 6 ports and only 1 of them worked. And of course dual mon doesn't work well in many games where the bezels are in the cross hair. It looks like we may finally be getting somewhere.
you guys realize how demanding this is going to be to run?? unless these new nvidia cards are more powerful then we all imagine we're really gonna have to turn the graphics down to get games to run at decent frame rates. this is still very cool. got my 3 monitor setup here for racing sims, but i just can't see how we're going to be able to run any newer games at high settings. hope these new fermi cards are beasts is all i'm saying.
gonna have to go out and get me an i7 extreme. probably gonna go with 3 projectors myself and have a wicked curve screen. this is gonna be sweet.
Why? Matrox has had their multimonitor solution for years. The only add here is 3D, and its years later. Performance shouldn't be a stumbling block.
Mostly what I wondered about is the bezel that would be in the middle of the picture on a multi-screen setup -- I would imagine that could be really hard on the eyes in a stereo-3d setup? Maybe not, though. I'll wait to hear reviews from somebody who has the setup before plunging in, but a dual- or even tri- screen setup certainly isn't out of the question, at least until there are 32"+ 120Hz monitors available. :)
Tons of people there have had these setups for years and have posted pics. Especially with 3 monitors, the bezels aren't too big of an issue. With only 2 monitors a bezel in the middle of everything is an issue in my mind.
But if the bezels is an issue go with the PJs and you are good.

Hm, I was wondering.. do you think if you hooked up say for instance 3 Samsung 2233's to Triplehead2go Digital and ran a
game in full screen, the 3d should still technically work across all 3 displays .. no ? If they're being treated as one display
I don't see what would prevent the 3d vision driver from enabling.. this is curious to me, any thoughts? (The TripleHead2go
Digital is Dual link I'm pretty sure)..
"The other demo we have is 3D Vision Surround running on three 1920x1080 LCD displays from Acer and Alienware using 3 dual link dvi connectors. This one is using dual GTX 285s."

I was doing some surfing and came across these forums, can't remember where.. but
some guy said he was using Triplehead2go with 3d vision in Anaglyph..
so I suspect it might work in actual S3D.
EDIT: I realized the Triplehead2go only supports 85 hz? So it probably won't work.. oh well..
Can wait for 3d vision surround
