For those having problems on Win 7, do you have KB 2670838 (AKA the evil update) installed? Are you running 64bit Win7 or 32bit? For those having freezes when using hook=deferred_contexts, can you try: [code]hook=deferred_contexts except_set_shader_resources[/code]and report back. I'm currently installing Win 10 to see if I can reproduce some of these problems.

my experience: -win7 64bit SLI no evil update: hook= all except_set_shader_resources= dont launch hook= deferred_contexts=launch but have low performace and freezes at the minute hook= deferred_contexts except_set_shader_resources= dont test yet... may be this night

All is ok.

One word: [b]impressive.[/b] - it feels like the game was just made for 3D. The intro blew me literally away - fans ran hot... - one minor thing is the convergence of the zoom, if it might be possible to include some extra convergence setting for it, this would be a dream- Can't wait for the fix for MGSV. Absolutely amazing !!! Agreed mrorange55 the intro is really something, it made me absolutely breathless !! Also absorbing gameplay with extremely beautifull Graphics i real 3D, and it runs so smoooooth.. Now I'm happy that I never played these games in the first time.. I cant thank you enough Guys !

Press "O" key for cinematics.

I found this code. I actually want the convergence to be low that I can see through the visor (by pressing F) easily. What do I have to change in this case? Do you mean when you aim? imo with the gameplay convergence (recommended) is not needed.....you can add in the key override section of the d3dx.ini I only add the bind to the visor: XB_RIGHT_SHOULDER and "F" key. There are the default keymapping. If you change the keymapping you have to edit the d3dx.ini **edit: change this line convergence = 75 to the convergence wanted value, try with 1.5

I have downloaded the fix again and also tried all hook types posted here. None worked. I'm on Win 10 and cant get the game to start with any of the .ini tweaks. I hope I don't have to go back to win7, as I just upgraded :( Great job. 3D is looking mighty fine.

Nice, I didn't realize there was a solution for this game, I do not see where it would matter unless you changed the camera angles, in which case some of DHRs fixes might not display correctly. But I couldn't imagine it preventing the game from starting.
