Just wanted to give the info that Flawless Widescreen got an update so you can play MK X in beautiful 3D Vision Surround now!
Awesome!! Glad to see that Hayden is not slacking:)) lol:))
I tried to dump the shadow shaders in the weekend but got some de-compiling issues with 3DMigoto which I never got around to look as I had an idea on how to make the wrapper work with SW Kotor...
I haven't give up on this game just yet;))

Being a competitive fighting game player not sure surround is a good idea for me. Awesome news though.
Gameriam_net I will have to try this but I am at work right now. Does it solve the haloing/double up problems?

I just tried this out and actually find it has more issues than the official profile.
but now I play around with it more on the standard profile if you disable AO, and shadows. (and possible motion blur for the Xrays) its virtually flawless, bar a couple of maps.
Still would be nice to see a real fix so the bells and whistles can be kept on =)

I have all the advanced settings (DOF, AO, Motion Blur) turned off but still have the haloing/double up problem. Did you get rid of it necro? If yes which setting needs to be tweaked?

@helifax (or anyone who can contribute to this question)
Since this game is poorly optimized especially when it comes to SLI what did you do to get acceptable performance in 3D Vision Surround? Or is the performance of just one of your 780 Ti's sufficient for MK X in 3D Vision so you don't care? Currently my GTX-690 literally puts out a slide-show when playing MK X in 3D Vision Surround (I guess due to not working SLI)
I am planning on switching my 690 with a GTX-980 anyway because I want to get rid of those problems that I am facing everytime a game is poorly SLI-optimized so I am stuck on basically just one GTX-680.
But since we all know that in case of MK X the fps/stuttering issues are caused by poor optimization and not by ultra demanding system requirements maybe there is a way to improve performance even with my GTX-690?

I haven't been able to get any of the SLI bits to work with this game it actually makes performance worse.
However I get a fluid 60fps on a single 780
I can't really see the point in playing in surround in this game, especially if you are a serious competitor, I find it distracting and feel the need to focus on one point straight ahead at all times. Each to his own I guess.
Turning all the post processing options off resolves most of the ghosting for me, but only on the official profile. The max payne one is still plagued by it and incorrect reflections.
A few maps like Dead woods still exhibit the problem though

I tried a lot of things the last two days to improve performance for MK X. There is one "trick" that DEFINITELY improves performance significantly. I got this from steam forums:
"NOTE: ONLY WORKS WITH QUAD CORE OR MORE CORE CPU
1. run the game on steam after you get into main menu press alt + ctrl + delete to run the task manager.
2. on open tasks right click on MK10 then select on "go to process".
3. right click on MK10 name on process tab then choose "set afinitty" and diselect one of your Cores. so you will have 3 active cores and one is none active for MK X. NOTE this is only example of quad core cpu, on a cpu with more core like 8 or 6 it is the same thing, you only have to disable ONE of your cores on your choice!
4. now resume the game by clicking on it in your taskbar.
so now your loading times should increase and also you will face massive slow motions for a few seconds in menu until game gets used to your affinity performance. after that just run a match and see the difference game completely runs smooth really smooth, even with low fps its really smooth with any settings. even on sky temple map i get a really really smooth game but with less fps which does not matter at all.
this just shows how much this game is broken that no one has limited its access to CPU and GPU."
The following step (also from steam forums) seems to improve SLI-performance:
Using Nvidia Inspector switch SLI Compatibility bits (DX1x) either with
0x084000F5 (Tomb Raider 2013, Apollo 11 Demo)
or use
(DX1x) 0x088000F5 (Unigine: Heaven 4.0 Demo etc.)
Some users say the first one works better for them while others prefer the second one.

I don't have any performance issues with this game.
Only issue is the hard capped Xrays at 30fps. (which I really hope they have the sense to remove,)
In fact I force it to 60fps in the NCP (these games are designed around 60fps due to frame data of moves) to keep it locked there and make the 30fps "cinematic" drops less jarring.
Those SLI bits I have tried, they do nothing but cause the game to become unstable. (screen shakes around)
I will have a look at the processor core thing though, seems interesting but over all im happy with the performance in this game as it is.
*edit*
No change here either. (processor affinity, actually it runs a bit worse) I guess this may help for those people having problems running the game at an acceptable rate. Seems to be its very dependent on your CPU.

Can´t understand this no Works for you...
in maxpayne3 porofile... no motion blur, no shadows , no Ao...
is the more inmersive game in 3D, as Trine 3, Little better experence tan in gta 5,
to make an comparison seems as DA Inquisition with the fix.
This all in a single 660 gpu, latest drivers + quad core cpu
Greetings ; )
P.d- maybe the ghosting it´s an contrast monitor issue: im on an acergd245hq 5000:1 contrast, (no ghosting, perfect at all)
