Did you rent the 3D version of the film?

Is it on DVD or BluRay? If it is DVD then it is not the 3D version. If it is on Blu Ray, the package must state "blu ray 3D". If it does not, then it is the 2D version.

Also, what are you using to play the disc? You need a 3D capable blu ray playback software, such as Power DVD 10 Mark II Ultra, or ArcSoft Total Theater 3 with the 3D plugin.

Honestly I doubt blockbuster is renting out the real 3D bluray version... it is most likely the non-3D version. I have a retail copy of the 3D version and on the actual disc itself it says "Blu-ray 3D" at the very top of the disc. Are you able to view this on the Blockbuster disc or is it covered up by some kind of other label?

Have you enabled the function to hide stereoscopic 3D when you start a game, same thing will apply to cinema viewing. You need to either turn on the IR-emitter or press Ctrl-T when you are in the Movie menu just like in the games.

Also what screen are you using, dlp projector or lcd screen ?
