1. I have no idea which "2D to 3D converter" or "2D to 3D video player" to get. So I am hoping someone pitch in from experience and let me know which I should get.
2. Also, if you do use it, do you use a separate video player to watch 2d movies, anime, tv shows or you watch them all in one video player [Ex: one "2D TO 3D video player" to watch only 2d movies and another one to watch 2d animes, and so forth]? Same goes for 2D to 3D converter.

None. 2D to 3D conversion is mostly a novelty thing. It's just nowhere near the same quality as real 3d content. You'll end up turning it off within 5 minutes. That's from my own experience.

Can you elaborate more please? Meaning, what is your comment related to: just the 2d to 3d converter or 2d to 3D video player? Also, which one did you try for both? It will help a lot if you can answer me please!

He means you can't get good results with an image that was filmed in 2D and trying to make it 3D. You have to have two cameras filming the same image at slightly different angles to acheive true 3D. Taking a 2D image and simply spliting it in two does not have the same results and most people do not care for it.
Obviously you might be okay with the results, but even still I wouldn't know where to direct you for such a thing. Sorry.

As many do.... you fail to mention your Display and what you're looking to use it for. Gaming? Movies? TV?
Like stated, 2D-3D conversions are a mixed bag, sometimes it's ok, other times not so ok.
Power DVD 12 has a 2D-3D Blu-ray conversion.
Or maybe you're looking for something like the 3D Converter that Monoprice sells?

My monitor is Asus VG236H 23" and I am only looking to play 3D movies. So that is why I was asking for 2d to 3d converter.
As other have already told you autoconversion for movies is bad and this doesn't depend on the software. Now virtual 3d for games, such as the one provided form DDD is much better, as it takes some information from the z-buffer, but still cannot compare to actual 3d which is generated from a second camera in the scene, same goes for movies..try comparing one that is shot in s-3d to one that has even the subtlest but actually shot in 3d content.
Therefore it is better to watch movies that are shot in 3d or even manually converted than use programs to convert on the fly, besides with autoconversion you limit your frustum to achieve 3d, effectively reducing the size of your screen. Personally I've tested both Powerdvd's and TMT's algorithms and didn't find any of them satisfactory.
You can, however use Stereoscopic player (if you have a very low or non-existent level of ghosting)and separate a 2d image to achieve a bigger screen effect, in ain't 3d but at least you will get to experience a 100" screen with only 50 actual inches for example.

A very inactive thread at AVSForum is following this question as well /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

sView is a good free one. But it is kinda pointless to have considering there are NO movies whatsoever made to be viewed in 3Dvision. However they have other modes in which movies are made for.
