Just putting my 2 cents in here because this seems to have been derailed to Fallout 4 somewhat.
Personally I have found every Bethsoft game since morrowind to be extremely overrated. I am not sure what happened with this but they seem to ride on the hype train and teary eyed love the masses have for their games, but ultimately they end up being extremely shallow in the gameplay systems department. I don't really get it.
Skyrim to me once you got down to it was not much than a moderately pretty hiking simulator, and it was horribly flawed when it came to balance and exploits. These games one saving grace in the modding potential which seemed to break skyrim in 3D for me when I attempted to mod it to something I found enjoyable.
I found Fallout three to be the same... lots of desolate nothing to explore, with writing to the level of a novel like 50 shades of Grey.
So long story short.. I'd much rather see a fix for this game. =)

I am totally with you necro. But it all comes down to the preferences of our 3D wizards. And while it may be hard to see how they are occupied by fixing a major blockbuster title that doesn't interest oneself it is still a good thing to know that they keep going with the fixes out of personal interest and motivation for those games they fix.
I don't think that Arkham Knight will go unnoticed in the end. The prequels are some of the most impressive 3D games ever which at the same time are just gorgeous games in general (yes I am including Origins here which was also great imho).
Arkham Knight was praised by many as the best entry of the quadrilogy so I guess it's almost impossible that this game won't get some love here in the end!

Bethesda games are about freedom and exploration with barely any direction, that's what makes them great, you're someone living in a fantasy world and you can do whatever you want and go wherever you want, become whoever you want, good or bad. If you want a really structured game or a very compelling story, they are far from the best though, but they are the best in what they do.
Far from the Batman games, with a really limited open world and limited options. Still they are amazing too in making a comic book alive and making you feel like an unstoppable hero, and the stories are miles better than Bethesda games.
I hope we get to play them both in 3d at some point, like most AAA games I believe sooner or later someone will try to fix it, but I'd vote for Fallout 4 since that game can give you hundreds of hours of gameplay in glorious first person 3d.

These two sentences could be applied to Morrowind and Oblivion as much, if not more so. LOL

You are right of course. We can make fun of Bethesda for the type of games they make, but that IS what they are designed to be. I am with Necropants, though, I prefer more story involvement. My game playing time is far too limited to just go exploring for the sake of it. If I gamed 20+ hours a week it would be different, but I typically have no more than 1-3 hours per week available. It will take me 3-6 months to finish a game like Arkham Knight. I am eagerly looking forward to playing in 3D, and will probably forego buying the game until a fix is ready.

It's a taste thing, obviously, and don't get me wrong. I am a sucker for free roaming open world RPG type games, with less emphasis on story, hell Dark souls is one of my favourite games which although having a good story is sparse. But I never think Bethsoft do a particularly good job of the game-play department either, it's got to the point where they can't decide if they want to make RPG's or action games, and we end up with a watered down version of both things. If the gameplay is good I don't need anything else, but they can't do this either.
Morrowind was great because it for all its flaws still had some gameplay complexity. With every iteration of their titles they dumb them down and remove features, and inventory slots, dumb down spell casting ect.
Anyway, I'll shut up about this as it's the Batman thread after all...
I'm trying to learn how to fix games myself but I'm finding it a pretty frustrating experience myself so far once ive advanced past simply disabling effects.

New patch is uploading right now with a few small DLCs to purchase.
Anyway. They are giving away all previous Batman games for free with Arkham Knight purchase (owners and new buyers). Not a bad deal I guess.

I`ve been playing this game without any issues from very beginning - have no idea what people complain about. I think they all exaggerating this a lot.
This time it is no difference - all flawless and beautiful. Only Real 3D is needed.
Damn - this game is so good !

Don't most PC owner's who purchased the Arkham Knight own the previous Batman games ?
I know I do.
So again I get nothing.

Yes, I too own all of them, as do most people who will ever buy the game. It's a total PR move that will look good for them and yet lose no money... Wow. I'm disappointed in them. And the PC community will see through the smokescreen. New purchasers should have received the season pass for free, and those who already preordered the season pass should get a free game of THEIR CHOICE in the WB library.

Headed over to the official forums to watch the world burn.... Oh yeah!!! It is a total ****storm over there! LOLOLOL
Pulled this from the "patch notes" (I put "patch notes" in parentheses because they said they were patch notes but they weren't really)
"We are still working with our GPU partners to add full support for SLI and Crossfire. In addition, we are working with these partners to address stability issues on certain cards related to the latest drivers."
... So in other words, yes, the game has been re-released, but there's still no SLI support and therefore no reason to try to play in 3D still.

I just update and seems the game (at least for me) is running better than before. I now have min 51 avg 58 max 60 with same settings (including all gameworks enabled)....BUT now i noticed that even with Gamework enabled (all options) there are disabled in the Benchmark (not tested in game)...what a way to get better results of a benchmark...LOL

I have no idea if this is because I got all DLCs and they uploading all of them or maybe it is just another patch related update.
