how do i switch the game to dx9 to make use of the fix i think its running in dx11?
in the vh2 install directory i can see a folder .\cgshaders which has folders named dx11,dx9 and opengl in them so i guess it supports all of those

According to the store page, it's DX9. But I don't know, and odds of my suggestion working are fairly low. Just figured it might be worth a try if it's built on the same engine.
