Help! BSOD after installing beta drivers
Hi

I did all the usual stuff, uninstall, safemode, driver sweeper but when I go back to windows it still manages to install its own geforce 260 drivers. before it didnt and I could install the driver straight away. Now I have to let windows install its older driver (which doesnt seem to work that well) and once I installed the beta one BSOD. I really panicked after the same thing happened when I reinstalled the 1.29 drivers! I thought I had killed my card.

I booted up from last known good config and installed from there so at least I know I can do that again. Would love to get this beta installed because I have heard good things about it.

Unless I really shouldnt install them because they fry cards.

BTW, BSOD occures shortly after the windows page loads. Near completion the monitor goes through a few modes and then BSOD. I dont have time to control the desktop.

Thanks

Andy

FIXED

I turned off Steam. I think loading Steam as Windows started put everything out of sync. So thats why they tell you to quit all programs. :)
