How to Enable 3D For Games
I just bought the Nvidia 3D Vision 2 kit and I have an ASUS VG278HE monitor. I checked out the official game list and it says that Call of Duty: Ghosts renders 'fair' for 3D Support but when I run the game there are no options to play in 3D. I've look all over and can't seem to find any information on how to actually do this. Does anyone know how to play the game in 3D?

First off if it's rated fair, and there's no Helix Mod fix for it, so it'll most likely be almost painful to play in 3D ... I have no experience with that game, so I can't say whether or not it actually triggers 3D Vision, but I'd presume it does since it has a rating. Did you enable Stereoscopic 3D in your control panel? (Pg 4) http://www.nvidia.com/content/3dvision/docs/3DV_Glasses_NA_EMEAI_3DVision_Universal_Icons_QSG_EMEAI_Sep11_rev12.pdf If so you may have to press Ctrl+T in-game. You'll also want to enable convergence/advanced in-game settings. Thanks for the quick response. I have stereoscopic enabled but I don't think I tried convergence yet. I'm out right now but I'll try out your suggestions and report back. I have a GTX 770 and I'm on Windowss 7. Lots of great info in your post I'll check out all of the links.

Convergence is just another setting, like depth, that enhances 3D ... I did a little poking around, it looks like it should at least 'work' anyway ... might even be good. The last post on this https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/619030/3d-vision/call-of-duty-ghosts/2/ page says:
Ok guys, just tried it and played for 40 mins or so. Here is verdict. Altough its not really 3D Vision Ready, contrary to BF4, CoD Ghosts is totally playable in 3D. Shadows are perfect, sky is perfect, everything looks fantastic. The biggest trouble is crosshair that looks 2D and and rifle scope. Also I saw some minor gliches like distant star in space chapter. It rendered at wrong depth. This game is real killer in 3D. One of the most visually impressive Ive ever played. Tons of stuff happening: earthquakes with building falling apart all around, flying near space station which looks fantastic, all kinds of varied locations. Highly recommend it. 3D isnt locked, you can raise conv as much as you want. Ive uploaded few pictures to my gallery. Check it out: http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/mindw0rk/
his gallery along with tehace's http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/tehace/image/527a6b92cb8577af4e0000c3/ ... make it appear like it should be working, although sometimes people upload games that are using TriDef which can be highly deceiving especially when it's not noted anywhere, but this doesn't appear to be the case with Ghosts ... have you tried any other games in 3D, or the test app? http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2316/kw/3d%20test ... hopefully it's just a matter of having to press Ctrl+T to enable 3D in-game, there's a registry setting for this but usually by default it's already enabled.

Awesome news. I have 3D working on my machine. My apologies for not mentioning that before. I was able to run the setup wizard no problem and viewed a few of their images in 3D. Also I haven't tried any other games yet but will most likely test out Bioshock Infinite. I bought the tridef 3d software last night but I dont think it's compatible with my monitor. I can't find how to change the 3d mode of my monitor from Nvidia's mode shutter to side-by-side.

TriDef! That's most likely the culprit, as far as I know it disables "StereoDefaultON" in your registry ... so you have to press Ctrl+T to activate 3D Vision in-game every time, or you can just change it back to: (Remove the Wow6432Node if you're running 32bit Win7) [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D] "StereoDefaultON"=dword:00000001 Bioshock Infinite, you'll definitely need to use Helix's fix for that one ... it's a mess otherwise.
The fix updated. Link Unpack it where BioShockInfinite.exe located (delete old files and ShaderOverride folder if you use previous version). 1. fixed broken effect by HUD fix. 2. crosshair dynamic 3D. 3. water reflections. 4. fixed bug with shades when some objects become 2D. if this still happens(but i think it should not), you can use a hotkey F10 to reload shaders. Know issues: 1. SSAO (ambient occlusion) should be on NORMAL or below. 2. distant lights cutoff. 3. some reflections can be 2D. 4. water reflections cuts at right corner. All minor issues should be fixed by now.
Quoted from: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/570351/3d-vision/confused-is-there-a-helix-dx11-wrapper-/post/3886860/#3886860

Ah I'll try the ctrl+t. You've been extremely helpful and I greatly appreciate it. I've been busy all day and eager to try these solutions out. I will be back home in about 5 hours and can see if it works. Thanks for linking the bioshock tutorial as well.

Follow up: Ctrl+T did it for me. Although the 3D might not be as good as other games, it's still an awesome feature. I'm very glad I purchased 3D equipment. Thanks a lot for the help, it was great advice.

No problem at all, glad to help and glad to hear it worked for you, definitely mess around with 'Convergence' ... make sure to enable the 'advanced in-game settings', linked above. In some games Convergence is locked, some of which can be unlocked in various ways, and sometimes when increasing Convergence it can take awhile, 10-20 seconds or so ... maybe even more on some, to notice if anything's changing or not as there's no OSD for Convergence like there is for Depth ... but it can make all the difference between making something look good and making it look real. As a rule, in most FPS the guns/hands will always be off as far as they're depth, that's just something you have to try to ignore. On FPSs I usually walk up to something, like a wall or a corner. Something that sticks out the most and then with the glasses off I set the convergence, usually have to increase it (Ctrl+F6), so that the closest point is aligned (2D). I look at it like your compressing more depth into the scene, depth that otherwise is off-screen ... or at least behind your view. Now with third person perspective games I usually align it with the character I'm playing as but I'm on a much bigger screen ... you should be able to crank it up to the point where the character comes out on the screen, might even be able to do this with FPSs ... I'm not sure. It's an effect that everyone calls 'toyifying' or 'toyification', where stuff pops out of the screen and looks like little toys in front of you. A couple links about toyification: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/467750/ https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/545286/
