How big can you set the picture on one of these across say a whole wall?? also how much popout can you obtain?? Really interested in buying one of these to be honest but never dealt with a projector before?
The HD66 can go all the way up to 300in. that's a pretty big screen
it depends on on the input that you use as far as the popout effect goes ,the best is from games

Yes, you still have to wear them upside down but at least with the Nvision glasses this isn't a horrible experience. Yes, you can fill a wall as long as you have enough projection room and real estate. My screen is about 130" diagonal (homemade using behr silverscreen paint with black border). Overall I am very pleased with my pro350, which is the 16x10 version of the HD66. You really can't beat the experience for the price as I spent less than $800 for everything (projector, cables, ceiling mount, screen paint). In S3D there simply is no replacement for size!
So this can be used w/out turning your glasses upside down?
Hey Chibi when ever I'm watching 3D movies there is the reverse sync option, by the way Field Sequential movies are friggin sweet
But playing games I do have to wear them upside down, does'nt really bother me, I think Nvidia thought ahead when they designed the glasses (notch in top)
I even wear prescription glasses and not a problem for me.

Thanks for the info! I'm ready to plop down cash on a projector, but not willing to wear my glasses upside down for that amount of money ($700 + $200 Vision glasses). I can't believe Optoma didn't unofficially make it work right since 3D Vision seems to be the most popular S3D solution.

It is really an nvidia issue since they control when their glasses synch. The Optoma projectors use DLP Link and in their menu you do have the option of reversing synch, it just doesn't work with Nvision. I have been waiting from someone to give DLP Link a shot...

Hello, I ask me to excuse for my bad English.
I have bought Optoma HD66 - a quite good projector - is a pity certainly that it is impossible in any way to force to work it with the last DRIVER 1.19 but only from 1.15 - there can be to whom that it was possible - I could not.
But the basic problem not in it is a problem in that that at switching on 120 hertz - BLACK colour at a projector vanishes - it to become grey. At you too so is? Even if to a projector not to connect any device (the computer or a player) and simply to instal in options "COLOUR of the BACKGROUND" - BLACK instead of DARK BLUE. At mode inclusion 3D - the background becomes GREY. Why so?

No, mine is ceiling mounted.

Ah, damn! I wonder if the Optoma GT720 ($699) will be 3D Vision compliant. Also, maybe it will have HDMI 1.4... Other than that, I wonder what's the difference between that and the HD66..

Hey fellas, I bought the HD66, should be getting it soon..
hey Pix, I decided to go with this one instead of the pro350, remember I asked u for some reviews, Imgonna use this Pj mainly for the Movie room, Im really looking to get the Viewsonic 5351, atleast Nvidia has it as compatible, anyone grab this PJ yet? Im getting it for the short distance it needs for a big picture. Gonna be using these at a show this spring and hoping the nvisor will work with no prob.
Chibi, you should just settle and grab one, I see u on here killin for a good answer and I think everyone is gonna have differant issues and reviews, always happens, everyone won't have the same outcome because you always set it up for your liking.
Now on these glasses, which I don't own! I see people have to put these on upside down? Can the lens be floped out, swaped? If the signal is reversed then reverse the lens, No? Like I said I don't own so I can't try it but I think im gonna rob my grandma and buy them!!! LOL
Anyways I got my hands on some Pro ana X anaglyph and thats what Im gonna be using untill I pull the trigger on the visors... More to come..\\Ku

They have glasses to use with the the DLP link, would be fine for movie and synch to your projector but obviously no gaming with Nvidia driver.
You could however use the LZ3D driver fine :)
Keen if anyone has tried these glasses.
They don't need an IR sender like Nvidia so would eliminate IR interference, they work by inserting a white light between frames to tell the glasses what to do which sounds like a great method to me.
I have a Samsung Plasma which is essentially checkerboard format like the DLP TV's but I am unsure whether I can also use the glasses, would really like to know because I would pull the trigger.
