If you still have issues lower audio qualitity. I heard people have issues with that. Game actually looks phenomenal in 3d with right settings. I was a hater but it looks amazing now.
I will put up a video when I get time to play. I am running to many projects atm but I will get around to it.

I just can't seem to figure out why my FPS is capped at 30 :( Tried adjusting the audio quality in-game but it didn't help so I put it back to max

I think the 3d automatically caps it at 30 if my graphics card cant handle rendering above 60 so it just drops to another "tier". sigh I cant afford a gfx card right now, though my system could really use one.
I dropped my reso a notch down from 1080 keeping 16:9 aspect and it seems to run a lot better, also turned AA off in the options. Seems like certain areas are rendering a bit odd right now though, may need a reset. Will test some more..
edit: another quick question. after using your depth and convergence settings, is your 3d all out of whack in the log in and character selection menus? im going cross eyed every time i start the game up lol

When i start diablo 3 my 3d is on however in nvidia settings my 3d is off...how do i turn 3d off completely? When I go into window mode in diablo 3 sometimes its not in 3d, but if i tab out and do something else and tab back into the game the 3d starts again. This is quite annoying as I don't have the 3d glasses anymore so I'm seeing double. I have to keep tabbing in and out several times for the 3d to go away. Any one know how to fix this? Thanks.

CTRL T turns off 3D. You might have to enable advanced keyboard settings under 3D settings.

You can enable it via Nvidia Inspector. The driver-level FXAA also improves jaggies a bit but at the expense of more blurring. I briefly tested the MSAA bit but haven't gotten back around to it, will do that this weekend.

Its low FPS and 1xGPU, it seems single card configs suffer the hard double buffered frame increments from 30 to 60 and nothing inbetween. Its very distracting. 3D Vision is really best suited for SLI more than ever. If you can afford a 2nd 460 that would be the way to go imo, because the same thing will happen with a faster single GPU if its not capable of achieving 60FPS always. With 2 GPUs in SLI, I do get the incremental frames between 30 and 60 (effectively triple buffered or Vsync off).

That's exactly what I suspected.. I am looking into getting another 460 or a card that will definitely have enough overhead to keep me at 60+ with 3D enabled
edit: for those of you playing in 3d, post up your depth/convergence settings! I've been trying 75% depth and converge till in-game char looks 2d with glasses off as previously mentioned in this thread. seems to have been working out for me pretty well so far with the exception of log-in and char menu screen making my eyes crosseyed lol. def willing to try other people's settings out.

If menu screen bothers you, you use this http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2012/05/how-to-guide-create-convergence-and.html . Set your standard convergence/depth for menu screen then set in game depth/ convergence.

Id recommend seeing if your monitor can hold presets. Then see if finding a better contrast ratio helps. Dark/bright objects when conflicting are often an issue.

Thanks. I'll give that a try next time I play the game. I'm not a real big gamer and that's one reason for getting the cheaper monitor. I do got my brightness set at 100% and my contrast I believe at 90%. I only notice it when I go into some of the darker instances. My only other game I sometimes play is WOW and seldom noticed it there unless I was playing in a dark instance against a brighter colored sword or something. I'm sure this will help some even if it doesn't solve all the problem.

Helix mod FTW!!! Running all settings maxed perfectly! Shadows look great, no water issues. I run the game @ 15% depth and then add convergence until right before the mouse pointer starts getting hard to look at. This gives me an awesome pop-out effect while still being able to see the dropped items and names.
Thanks a lot for the fix guys! Hopefully Blizzard doesn't kill our accounts for getting the game working correctly!

Thanks.

With my Acer 27 inch passive (HR274H), this game has more ghosting than any game I've seen. I think the colors are dark where it comes out on a passive. Are you active users having trouble with ghosting in this game?

On my ASUS VG278H, I've no ghosting at all. Playing with 90% depth an hight convergency. This game is awesome in 3D. Seriously.

Thanks a lot for the fix guys! Hopefully Blizzard doesn't kill our accounts for getting the game working correctly!

I heard it looked good, but there is no way I'm risking my account for the better shadows.
