I checked this out. Game is unplayable. Everything that can be broken in 3D IS broken. Shadows, lights, characters double imaging, etc.

Darn. I was really hoping for this one. And I don't think C-mode will help either because it only works on DX10 or 11 games, according to the beta driver feedback thread. - Isn't this game DX9 only? Would changing the .exe help any I wonder?

Can't hurt to try adding it onto the AC4 profile.

I changed the .exe to prototype.exe, played around a little with the depth and convergence, and at least(to me) it playable now, still a minor issue with the shadow but it doesn't bother me much though. This game running smothly with everything max. :))
Reviews are coming in, and it sounds really mediocre.
Yes, but in all fairness, they are also saying it's better than the first one, and being able to swing through NYC in 3D is a 'must see' for me. Plus, being a Spider-Man fan, I would probably find more enjoyment out of it than a casual gamer just looking for something new to play. Still, I'll probably wait for it to go on sale.

Wow thanks DAT-13! Looking pretty great, a few shadows notwithstanding! So, surely this means it's 'properly' fixable, yeah?
