Winamp/WMP/iTunes visualizations with 3d Vision
For those of you who use Winamp (shame on those of you who don't! /whistling.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistling:' /> ) check out this visualization plug-in, it works beautifully with 3d Vision: Monkey 1.02 Winamp 3d visualizaton plug-in

It's like spelunking through your favorite CD. ;)hehe

This one: Tripex3d for Winamp has always been my favorite visualization, but it doesn't seem to work very well with 3d Vision.

This one: Cubes 3d visualization plugin for Winamp works really well with 3d Vision, too.

If anybody knows any other Winamp/WMP/iTunes visualizations that work well with 3d Vision, please post 'em. :)

I haven't used winamp since college when it first came out, but wow. Thanks for sharing because that is truly awesome.

Turn up the convergence and you start getting motion sickness, but it's sweet.

Yeah, the neat thing about that one is you can set any image you want to be on the cubes. Just go to Options>Preferences>Plugins>Visualizations>Configure and browse to any image and that image will be the surface of each cube. Try it with a photo of sombody's face or with the image in my avatar and check out what happens. Trippy! ;)

Yeah, a lot of people seem to have forgotten about Winamp since Apple & Microsoft have been a lot more aggressive in pushing their music platforms.

IMO, WMP & iTunes are great as a "one size fits all" idiot-proof media player for the masses, but Winamp is still the audiophile's player of choice. Winamp has so many more options than WMP or iTunes and works infinitely better with plugins/DSPs to fine-tune sound & performance. Properly configured with a few choice plugins stacked, Winamp can pump out quality audio on par with any receiver/component system. I trust my entire music collection to it. :)

I was wondering if anyone else has come across anymore of these visualizations?
Ive been using the monkey one a fair bit and I love it. Only recently though, I realised that a couple of keys do a few things to change the effects and colours. F6 changes the colour and space bar, well it varies. But sometimes it can change the speed or shape of the background

Id love to know where i can get more. I dont mind which software i use, just as long as its proper 3D.

Cheers

If you turn off the backrounds and crank the convergence you get amazing popout with many different visuals!
