Please fix clouds in WoW Clouds have too less separation in ed
Greetings,

please fix the clouds in WoW (Old world, e.g. Dun Mororgh or Stormwind). They are not separated enough and appear closer than for example trees that should (of course) be in front of them. Look high into the sky and and turn 3d vision on an off - you will notice that the picture only very slightly changes compared to other objects, like trees. The cloud model e.g. in Dalaran (another WoW city, newer) works better. Perhaps this helps finding this very annoying glitch. During outdoor exploration clouds are visible most of the time causing constant eye strain.

Thank you a lot in advance.

Best wishes

That's something Blizzard has to fix.

Clouds are rendered at something like 1/2 of max screen depth, and often distant objects appear behind clouds, and as you said - does make hurt to look at.

Same as fixing new 'fancy' water - which in S3D is completely broken.
That's something Blizzard has to fix.

Hi

Nick7 is correct. There are some issues we cannot fix in games, we have to work with the developer to address them. Most of these issues we have highlighted with the developer and are hopeful they will fix them.

Thanks a lot for your answers, Nick and Andrew.

It would be really, really great if you could check with Blizzard if this issue is being worked on from their side (or mutually from both sides), Andrew. I have already posted that issue on Blizzard's forum and reported to their support, but never got an answer. So I feel a little lost inbetween.

As WoW is a very prominent game (well, the most prominent game) and Nvidia/Blizzard did an outstanding job otherwise implementing 3d in WoW, I think that all parties woould profit from fixing the cloud (and new water model, btw) glitch. WoW is in my opinion a 3d vision showcase game, spreading the technology quickly as the users communicate alot about it while playing (social game) and this way it spreads greatly.

My thanks again, keeping fingers crossed

P.S. Really good to see your regular presence here, Andrew! Much appreciated!
