So I just paid pretty premium dollar for a 3DV2 kit and I'm literally amazed at how horrible the install process is. I have it working in my games but I can hardly understand the guy explaining how to install the many files to get it to work with Chrome. I mean honestly does it have to be that hard? I've never bought a piece of hardware that came without a executable. If you guys can recommend something I'm sending this thing right back

YouTube has been messed up for a long time and has always been somewhat hit and miss.
Try 3D Vision Live, to see if it's working there.

Also make sure to enable convergence for gaming

Also use community game patches

There was a post from someone in the last two months that mentioned changing something in the youtube settings or setup, that made it work for him. I can't remember the thread or poster though.
Unfortunately the forum search function is pretty useless

Hmm, I did a search going page by page using the control+f search function for youtube, the post I was thinking of was for side by side but may still apply, he mentions 360P only.

Another poster in the thread mentioned that he couldn't get 1080P working but by using 720P it worked.

You only have 2 choices for Disc playback, Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra or Corel WinDVD Pro.
There is a 3rd option, rip the disc and play back the file using Nvidia's player. But you'll need to update it
How am I supposed to watch 3d movies?
Buy a Bluray player (hardware around 70$), buy a 3D Bluray player (software like PowerDVD Ultra around 60$ in sale) and of course buy some BluRay 3D...

Or find compressed format on the internet and watch them with 3DVision Video Player (Stereoscopic Player source) for free.

You can also watch full Bluray 3D with Stereoscopic Player (40$ but free with Nvidia licence):

You can add the licence "CST Nvidia" into Stereoscopic Player to avoid paying 40$: (in french)

For YT video, if you have a menu in your screen to select the 3D format, then the 3D should works (Mandatory on HDMI 1.4 official standard).
Or download the YT video, then play it on the 3D player software:

Wow... I gotta say for the lack of support I think nvidia has, you guys make up for. My first impression was pretty bad as a lot of things are.. qwerky out of the box. but I'm gonna dig into all these links and make a second opinion.
I appreciate it all, thanks guys

The payoff is well worth the trouble and hassle often associated with stereoscopic gameplay.
So don't give up. Once you've experienced a few games with proper convergence, depth and community patches you'll have a hard time playing a game in 2D.
EDIT: While looking for something else, I came across a thread where they were talking about youtube only working at 360P.
