I have finally purchased game because of availability of Helix wrapper!
Have played up to BattleshipBay episode and all is STUNNING in 3D.
Only problem is water reflections in Columbia Welcome Center and Chapel.
(This episode can be played at low depth/ high convergence and looks good, but reflection fix would be best).
Once again, brilliant work Helix!
Agree that Levine should see this!
Nvidia? Andrew?

I too just completed BI a little earlier today and must say WOW and especially the ending visuals in 3D is amazingly jaw-dropping!!! Really glad I waited for the 3D patch.
Thank you very much Helix!!! (hope there is an AC3 Helix fix sometime in the not-too-distant future)

Wow, helix, you have to put this fix on your site. I almost missed it.
Just played for abit, and it went from unplayable to very impressive. Also good audio (I have Asus Essence One + Beyerdynamics HD 990 Pro) raises immersion greatly in this game.
Thanks for your work. Cant wait for AC3 fix

actually, has Helix even mentioned about working on a AC3 patch at all? We all know he works on whatever he likes, and afaik he's only mentioned the wrapper works with AC3, nothing more.

You are the coolest guy ever. Most people who have issues with 3D don't want anyone to enjoy it.

There was stereo-blind person saying that when using Nvidia 3D vision or the Oculus Rift, i don't remember which, that he could see in stereo for the first time. Have you tried it? If so, did you try upping the separation (increase "depth")?

I read that article about 2 months ago, and it changed my life. I had not realized that I had been stereoblind my entire life, or that steroblindness even exists. I knew my eyes were out of whack, and that 3D movies and games didn't work for me, but I didn't realize that that meant I saw the world differently than most people.
Long story short, it literally opened my eyes, and I was able, with some help, to start seeing in stereovision. I went and bought a 3D Vision monitor right away, and using it, believe it or not, actually helps improve my stereovision.
The only downside is I can't play games in 2D anymore. Not too bad a deal though.
MancSoulja- my intention is not to brag and make you feel bad or jealous- on the contrary, you should know that it can be possible to correct stereoblindness. There's all kinds of stories recently of people gaining their stereovision. I've been meaning to write a post about it here for a while, I've just been a little busy lately. Tomorrow I should have time to write a more detailed post about it all.

Thats pretty awesome. Id love to here more. How did you go from stereoblind/not able to see 3D content to using a 3D display? Also do you still face issues with 3D content such as gaming over 2 months?
Id love to hear a more detailed post.

When I was part of the Shadershock-project(Bioshock1 SM2.0 patch), we spent a lot of time for this shader-manipulation but we never ever thought about making money with it. We tried to help the people with older hardware and not to loot them. You are doing the same way and that is congenially.

There is a small diference, HELIX tries to help people having new highend hardware. I think most of the people playing S3D, have highend hardware, 3dvision system or 3d TV. I think these people can and would like to pay for this great job. E.g. I would pay 100-200 EUR immediately. Thanks HELIX!
