Note that bluray 3D convergence/depth appears to improve a little when using Sony products like PS4, and setup for TV uses much smaller screen (like 12” screen size setting for 65” TV)...

I have Panasonic dmp-bdt500 and it has a ”strength” adjustment but i haven’t much used it. If the film is made with depth there is depth. Besides 3d image that has enough lumens os much more imersive And ” depthy” than a image too dark.

Has anyone who has a VR headset used Bigscreen? I found out that best results playing 3D movies vary from environment to environment. In fact the bigger the screen I use the worse the 3D looks. Sometimes even seeing double images, and low convergence. Not sure if it has to do with the Aspect ratio of the screens or what. The best environment I found to be was, the living room, however you can only fit 3 more people in that room, and not more like other environments. It is not as good as watching it on a 4K tv in 3D. But If you have a VR headset this is a fun way to watch 3D movies with Friends and other people over the internet, and it is really immersive. Only works with SBS and OU, though. Even though, I'm not sure which one looks better.

Sounds like you need to alter the ever important and overlooked viewing distance to screen setting. aka display size, in the registry

Hey D-Man for setting up Ps3 3D on my 65" TV screen. What screen size should I set it to for best 3D?

3D is very weak on PS3, if you want great 3D, do this setting (French translation): I tested the 3D on the PS3 with Uncharted 3 and Sony does not allow any good settings. Indeed, the console once set to 55 inches (the size of my TV) in Settings / Display Settings / Video Output Settings / HDMI / Automatic. The maximum separation was 2cm, despite the setting in game of the "Force 3D" to the maximum! While the goal is to get the distance between your eyes on the horizon, 5 / 6cm in the adult, to have a maximum relief, suddenly the relief was flat! In order to have a really good relief, when setting the size of your screen in the PS3's display menu, choose about 10 inches (for 40 inches) and about 20 "(for 80"), in order to get a real separation, and therefore a true depth of relief. If the relief is too strong you can lower it directly in the game by doing in the main menu (Square / Display / Force 3D), because you still have to get used to it, otherwise you can always put more inches in the Settings display to reduce the separation. Be careful if the separation of the horizon exceeds the distance between the eyes of people who play or watch the game (Because for example, the distance between the eyes of children is logically smaller than the adult), you go in divergence and hello the headache. That's what it looks like on a 55-inch, knowing that I've also changed the parallax via the Samsung TV (Menu / Picture / 3D / 3D Effect / Perspective 3D / +5) to bring out the screen scene, this decreases the depth and increases the spurt, it does not change the 3D effect absolutely: (Max separation 4.5cm) That's what it gives without changing the parallax of the TV, a perfect depth of 6cm: If you have any questions, do not hesitate. Real 3D movies are very few times better than (properly) converted. Avengers saga is a good example. With conversions you can avoid problems inherit to 3D cameras. I'm constructing a list of ONLY the BEST 3D contents, not only good 3D, but also great and enjoyable: http://www.tridimensional.info/products/ I update the list every week with new titles and videos demonstrating it. Every title in that list is because I have seen personally with my eyes and my original blu-rays (some pirated 3D movies have the 3D altered and frequently ruined).
