1440p 3D Vision Monitor list. Need some monitors as I can not find any besides ROG which I do not wa
Hi guys, I have made up my mind and I want a 1440p 3D Vision monitor to replace my 1080p one.
The thing is, I am now turned off the ROG Swift after doing more research, but after Googling I can not find anymore 1440p 120hz 3D Vision monitors.
Can you guys please list me some monitors to buy that rival the Swift?
Also, are there any monitors coming out in the near future that I should wait for?

Asus announced the MG279Q, a 144Hz IPS monitor at CES last month that should be on the market soon. No mention of it being 3D Vision certified, though. Send them an e-mail and ask...
Typically, whenever the second letter has been a "G" in the model number, it's been a 3D version.

27 in monitor provides too small a FOV, in my opinion - and this monitor does not appear to support 3D.
For anyone interested in true resolution increase (not something like DSR, a type of anti-aliasing, still limited to 1080p visual resolution), you may want to consider getting one of the newer 3D 4K UTVs (like LG and Samsung). These UTVs are one of the few display technology areas offering the possibility of increased 3D resolution - if NVIDIA finally decides to support it.

I was a little hesitant to pick up the Rog Swift after reading about it. However the same situation with some bad reviews came about with one of their earlier 3d monitors VG278H with the built in emitter. I got the VG278 anyway and loved it for many years. It still sits on my desk working great.
Next to that is the Asus Rog Swift PG278Q. I really love it. I have no issues with field of view, refresh rate or any of the other complaints. Sure many games do not work in 3d with SLI however I don't think thats Asus' issue more so drivers and game developers. Some whites are closer to grey but colors look great and I have no complaints about the panel.
I ordered mine from Amazon, so if there was a problem return would be easy. There were no dead pixels. Everything on it works perfectly. 3D and SLI do work on some games, like GTA V and Max Payne 3, and the Metro series.
If you want to game in 3D IMO this is the best monitor out there. 1440p in 3d is a great improvement from 3d 1080p. Since there are no 4k 3d monitors this is your best bet.
