I’m currently using 3d vision with CRT monitor, and there is a lot of ghosting. I’m considering buying Samsung 2233rz LCD, but I’m not sure it’s worth it. Another option is DLP TV. I’ve been planning to buy HDTV and connect it with the PC for gaming for some time now, but only HDTVs that seem to work with 3d vision are DLPs, and I’d rather not deal with lamps for DLPs.
Can anyone who switched from CRT to LCD or DLP confirm there is less ghosting, please? Could you post which model of LCD or DLP you have?Only reason I would be upgrading is making 3d vision work, so if difference is not significant it’s not worth it for me.
Also does anyone know are there going to be any LCD HDTVs that support 3d vision any time soon?

I used CRT before and recently switched to DLP HDTV for S3D gaming. There is virtually zero ghosting with a LED DLP, not sure about lamp based DLP. With an LED DLP there is also virtually zero lamp life issue. It's the best S3D gaming solution for me thus far. Since I like to watch TV while gaming, I'm also considering getting a 3D ready LCD but with current "interlaced like" issue in both the Samsung 2233 and the Viewsonic, I'm holding that option off until later this year hoping other manufaturers will release newer and larger ones. Personally didn't hear about any LCD TV that's 3D ready recently sry.

That's the one. It seems hard to find these days since Samsung rumored to discontue them at the beginning of this year. An excellent HDTV and on top of that it plays game in S3D, I couldn't be happier with it.

I'm not sure the intalced issues being got by everyone though. I'm certainly not getting it on my 2233.

Wow, I spent some time searching, and it looks like no store is selling any LED DLP. Out of stock, discontinued...? I don't get it, shouldn't companies spend their time stuffing this in my face....
I mean what's the alternative, Mitsubishi LAMP DLP.
It's not like there is any competition in LCD or plasma department.

Actually Mits has the newly released Laser based DLP, also 3DReady. Supposed to be superior in many ways including cost. /w00t.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':w00t:' />

While I'm sure it's energy efficient, it also costs $6000+ :)
Looks like only interesting models for me are Mitsubishi WD-60735 or WD-60737. Only difference is 60Hz vs 120Hz. I'm not sure does that make any difference on DLP. I'd actually preffer 50" one, but meh.

The TV should be excellent. But the etailer "refurbdebot" needs caution, they got a 3/10 ratings here http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1515-p2-s1-d1.html. If you bought from them please tell us your experience.
