at best he was in error, but as I said, the word 'lie' Implies an intention. Do you think he said that while knowing that it's not true?

Shat part of "We have been working with the game developer to ensure the game looks great in 3D." is confusing to you. Nvidia lied to the consumers, maybe they lied to andrew who then forwarded on the flase infomration. It really doesn't matter, nvidia lied about this as the word 'ensure' doesn't mean might, could or should. It essentially mean it will work, which it doesn't.

However, it must be said that PR infos are 9 times out of 10 pointless, since their only use is to convince people to buy a specific product. He could have all the good intentions in the world and could just have been misinformed, but unfortunately he is part of a class of people whose lies are what literally constitutes their work.
It's quite hard to decide wether those words were some random PR bullcrap or were just the fruit of a mistake. Especially right now that they turned up to be completely false. All the evidence is against him, no matter what.

I think you never read what I wrote, Suntory. I explained a couple of times, that it's very likely that nVidia DID help CDPR and even DID see the rendering code, but NOT the final version of it. So the quoted sentence is probably true. That is still no guarantee that the final product would work perfectly. People change the code all the time, and the person who did make that particular change didn't think that this would cause any harm. It was also probably done AFTER most of the internals CDPR's QA runs.

Many problems in the products you see in the shop are caused by last minute changes (made with the best intentions) that didn't get tested probably.

I meant PROPERLY. Why is the edit function no longer available in this forum?

Every time the 'fast reply' box loses focus then gets it back again, all the text gets cleared for me. I've lost several messages already because I tried to go look up a URL or a driver version. The forum software is really going to pot.
