Black ops and 3dvision corrupt graphics
  1 / 2
Firstly, Im using a SONY hx800 thru 3dtv play. I have a Samsung 2233RZ monitor for 3d visoin aswell but i prefer the tv cos nvidias glasses are too dark. running black ops Multiplayer, the nvidia info says unknown application for 3d. Though it still works, but when i aim down sight or scope i get half my screen in blurry white. attached screenie below.
If using samsung monitor + nvidia glasses = fine, no problems.

any fix around?

Call of Duty Black Ops support was specifically added to the CD 1.38 (260.99) drivers.

Can you find out what the EXE name of CoD Black Ops you are running?

I can confirm that the game works great with a 3D LCD Monitor with 3D Vision, but with a Panasonic 3D TV and 3DTV Play I have the same issue as on the screenshot above with the latest drivers (CD 1.38 with 260.99). The lower half of the screen becomes blurred when taking aim trough the scope of the gun and that happens only on the 3D TV and not on the 3D monitor...

I can confirm that there is a bug with 3DTV Play. Bloody has communicated it to me and I am raising awareness to the driver team.

Also like to mention, there is artifacts in graphics while using 3dtv play. This was in single player mode campaign, and in the Khe Sahn mission. The background was many helicopters flying around, but the graphics does not display the helis properly, but instead just weird shadows. Screenie below:

as u can see, the are weird ghosting and object rendering...i can confirm this onli happens when it is outputting 3d signal. I.e if game is set to any other resolution other than 1280x720, this problem does not occur.

Afternoon Andrew,

Have there been any developments for Call of Duty Black Ops as the blurry screen isnt helping my kill ratio... :-D

Kind regards,

Ed
