You might want to take your socks off before playing, else they'll be blown off!

Currently they're not available without the IR unit, so they're $199 a pair.

Hey well do you think that a BFG GTX280 OC and the AM3 X3 720 BE proc will be enough to run this??

Im still debating on a mobo and ram... right now AM3 doesnt really get any use out of DDR3 so I could get some good DDR2... but why get older tech?

Yeah a 280 should be adequate. Take whatever framerates you're getting and cut them just about in half, then that's what you'll be getting with Nvidia's 3D solution (or anyone's 3D solution, really). This happens because the driver is rendering for each eye, the same as if you were running at double your resolution. It's also nice because you can turn certain settings such as antialiasing down or off and it doesn't seem to detract from the game nearly as much as when running in 2D mode. Lower graphics settings plus depth is way better than higher graphics settings without depth in my opinion :D And if that still doesn't do ya', you can always upgrade your rig!

I have a gtx 280 and the ONLY game that feels, shows its slow is WOW. I have 1066 DDR2 and at that or even 800 I dont see or can tell any diff. I think this is your CPU you are thinking of getting yes? " Notice the Phenom II X3 720's strong performance, especially when using DDR3 memory. We suspect gamers on a budget are going to really dig the Phenom II X3 720 BE." If this is your CPU..you see its just fine!

Hey, so I totally just called Nvidia, and they told me that extra sets of glasses only will be available mid April!! yay!!

So i just got my bfg 280 in... and im gunna order the kit, and see if my current rig will work without all the upgrades.

AMD x2 4800+ (2.4ghz)
A8n-e
3gig DDR
BFG GTX280 OC

Im sure it will be laggy, but I might be able to make it work till i get the rest of my rig ordered at the price I want it.
