Hud will never get officially patched to be 3D. [s]Sad about the crosshair though.[/s] Well croshair is in 3D but is broken in 3D Surround :( It still uses the depth of one monitor instead of 3.
The other thing that you see I bet is the Ambient Occlusion SSAO. Rottr still suffers from the lag. SSAO tends to lag behind one frame in one eye.
In Rottr the solution was to set it to use HBAO+. Don't know if the option is present here though.
I set AO to very high and had to disable soft shadows (due both to performance and because they also render weird in some angles). I did notice some broken specular reflections though (Most likely Screen Space Reflections that we never were able to fix just approximate them and it clearly looks exactly here;))

I would say after an hour it is playable in 3D. I guess there is just too much on the HUD for 3D which seems to give me the feeling that something is in my eye. On the other hand the aiming through the is very much messed up in 3D and you shoot more approximative. Maybe I can learn this, not that hundreds of hours in CoD or VR shooting in Raw Date did improve my aiming skills. ;)

Definitely, 3D looks quite nice for day-zero out-of-the-box solution! :)

First impressions here !!
I'm shocked, an allmost perfect 3D ready release, THANK YOU Nixxes !!!
I haven't played more than 10 min. but honestly I haven't seen a single serious issue yet.
The outlining of objects made me uncomfortable so just turn them off..
The scope goes in 2D so thats acceptable too, all markers are in 3D, I haven't tried a gun yet, but the recticle can also be turned off, the hud is very flexible, well done again Nixxes..
@Mrorange: I don't understand your statement, personally I wouldn't dream about playing this game in FLAT mode :)
I'll try to upload a couple of pics, if the gods and this site allows it....

Yupp, Reticle OFF first thing to do! :))
I am trying to make the HUD in 3D at least some part of it;) But I can't get 3DMigoto to hook the game no matter what:(
Is definitely NOT A BAD IMPLEMENTATION. Is actually very good, but a bit incomplete;)
We should all make a list of things that are broken and we can ask Nixxes to fix them;)
But the ISSUES need to be documented properly: explained and a screenshot :) This way they will have an easier time to see it and understand it and hence fix it;)

is the convergence really low on this game? i have 3d but there isnt much depth. usually i like it so that my characters gun is just starting to become blurry from high convergence. any way to increase it? when i try to use my 3d vision hotkeys it boots me out of 3d mode

Yeah I played a bit more around with the options and decided also that it is a good 3D vision port and very playable in 3D. So I take back my first words that I would play it in 2D. God know never. ;D

They are in 2D and actually not the best CGI films I have seen. I guess people that play in 2D would even think that it live rendered by ingame graphics. Good try. hehe

Use the ingame options to chance the convergence. I would say if you put it on 100 % it is quite good. Check out my pictures and see if your convergence is different to mine.

It's not bad in 3D, but not great either. It looks a bit like fake 3D or compatibility mode right now, even with max convergence there is not a whole lot of depth. Performance is pretty good though, on Ultra runs fine.

For the screenshots looks like a good implementation....is not the depth and convergence i use, but seems real3D and working! some reflections are bad and the HUD is not perfect, but overall looks very nice!

is the convergence really low on this game? i have 3d but there isnt much depth. usually i like it so that my characters gun is just starting to become blurry from high convergence. any way to increase it? when i try to use my 3d vision hotkeys it boots me out of 3d mode
Use the ingame options to chance the convergence. I would say if you put it on 100 % it is quite good. Check out my pictures and see if your convergence is different to mine.
yeah i have it at 100 percent. are your pics (first link you posst) at 100% on both settings? one thing i noticed is off is that iff you close one of your eyes, certain objects in either the left or right eye view will have a transparency along the edges, where you see through part of the object in one eye only. it almost leooks like a ghosting effect but the objects themselves sometimes have transparent borders, ill try to take a pic of it but its easy to see in the beggining in the vents that have those fans in them

Sad about the crosshair though.Well croshair is in 3D but is broken in 3D Surround :( It still uses the depth of one monitor instead of 3.The other thing that you see I bet is the Ambient Occlusion SSAO.

Maybe I can learn this, not that hundreds of hours in CoD or VR shooting in Raw Date did improve my aiming skills. ;)

Win7 64bit Pro
CPU: 4790K 4.8 GHZ
GPU: Asus Geforce RTX 2080 TI Rog Strix OC
Monitor: Asus PG278QR
And lots of ram and HD's ;)
Yupp, Reticle OFF first thing to do! :))
I am trying to make the HUD in 3D at least some part of it;) But I can't get 3DMigoto to hook the game no matter what:(
Is definitely NOT A BAD IMPLEMENTATION. Is actually very good, but a bit incomplete;)
We should all make a list of things that are broken and we can ask Nixxes to fix them;)
But the ISSUES need to be documented properly: explained and a screenshot :) This way they will have an easier time to see it and understand it and hence fix it;)

Good try. hehe
