I wanted to create a separate thread specifically thanking everyone for the wonderful group effort involved in gaining Eidos's attention. They have responded-

I really do hope that as a group we can continue to raise the attention of game developers as to what needs to be properly implemented/fixed when making games in 3D. It seems that raising our voices together directly on their forums is what made them ultimately here us. I don't know when they will fix this but I do hope that if this issue is not corrected in a relatively soon amount of time that we continue asking them to address it. I hope that we can do this together for all games.
Thanks everyone, I'm really looking forward to playing this game with cross hairs working. This probably would not have been made possible were it not for the efforts of everyone here.

I hope so. I honestly would replay it and buy any SP dlc for game.
Hopefully its not like borderlands 2 where they say they will fix it and then they break it even more then call it a day.

I will believe it when I see it. Have seen many statements like this over the years that resulted in nothing happening. Fingers crossed though as the title at release was a promising start.
