Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - Nixxes port
Don't forget - we all thought it was likely Arkham Knight would have 3D on release, and remember what happened there? Preordering is bad, mkay?
Yup, preorder is bad, no question. My problem is I know for sure I want this game, and I can get it preorder from greenman for 25% off. I don't give a damn about in-game tchotchkes for pre-order, but I like $15. Here's the only review I can find that discusses performance in any kind of depth. http://www.pcgamesn.com/deus-ex-mankind-divided/deus-ex-mankind-divided-pc-review
There are some performance issues, too. Despite owning a frankly overqualified rig with two GTX 1080s and a Intel i7 6700, the game never runs entirely smoothly for me. Dropping a few settings from the highest presets - especially the texture option - helps, and I can nearly hit a steady(ish) 60fps at 4K, but heavy stutter in busier areas is never far away. Dropping down to 1080p still produces regular stuttering, though certainly never to a game-breaking degree. Square-Enix admits SLI support is yet to be patched in, while Nvidia’s latest Mankind Divided ‘game ready’ drivers fail to give me a performance boost. Here’s hoping further patches iron out those niggly framerate woes.
Skimmed a few reviews looking for this info - it looks like a very good game, but not outstanding. I don't see it jumping my backlog queue, so I'll wait for a sale. If you'd like it cheaper, I'm always happy to help out with a Russian version ($22US, offer open to shaderhackers only).

If this has 3dvision on release, day one purchase. Otherwise, maybe not at all... At this point I will just outright buy anything that works in 3dvision out of the box. I'm sticking to the #1 rule of 3dvision club.... Developers get my cash who still give a damn about a technology that should be standard, and remains bleeding edge. Otherwise I can wait a real long time to play a game......

I have no illusion that it won't be fully busted at launch, and that for best game play it'll be better to wait a month or so. Performance, bugs, SLI, 3D, all will be better after a month. 3D seems clearly supported at launch, but we also known that NVidia just gave it only a 'fair' rating in the latest driver. Clearly busted, might get fixed after launch. I plan to wait for a couple of weeks before putting in any serious effort to fix the 3D, because of Helifax's experience with ROTR. ROTR is presently rated "3D Vision Ready" in latest driver. However, this seems like a good game for the ShaderHackers account. I'd like to take an early look to see if I need to fix anything in 3Dmigoto, and DHR also mentioned he was interested. Please pick up a copy for the ShaderHackers if that's feasible.

Pretty sure we have the funds for that, I'll pick it up. Should I wait around 24 hours to make sure it's a decent release first though?

I'd appreciate impressions on how the 3d works. The game unlocks in 5 minutes but i dont have a chance to try it until tomorrow.

I think the fair rating is using NVidia 3D Vision this game has it own 3D render which is similar to Rise of Tomb Raider which uses side by side. 3D in my option when using side by side is Very Good I just tested with 3D vision and it works.

Let me also say some words. The performance is really great. It runs very smooth if you turn off some useless things. But I have the feeling that sth is in my eye using 3D vision. That some shader might be wrong. Actually the same feeling I had, when I was first playing ROTR with its native 3D vision renderer. So this might become fixed someday. And then the HUD. It is 2D which is really annoying. And of course we do not have a special 3D position for gun aiming (which became so normal recently with the fixes). I would say I play it firstly in 2D and wait until the 3D gets better. It just feels a bit deranging. EDIT: The new driver seems to be not necessary. I play it with the previous one and I play it in 3D.
