Darksiders Warmastered Edition
  3 / 5
@Peer_Review: Awesome news! Funny as it sounds but DarkSiders is one on my favourite series of all time;) And I was really sad to see that Surround wasn't supported again in the remaster:( I am really glad that they did fix it after and such a quick time;) Looks like Nordic Games is way better than THQ was;) I remember sending lots of e-mails to THQ for Surround for both DS1 and DS2 and in the end, we ended up finding our own fixes for Surround:( Really awesome! and big thank you for the update!

I'm just wondering why there is so much negativity around this title. I'm about halfway through and I can confirm there are virtually zero issues in 3D. There are way better games out there, but the developers need to be given major credit for making this game near 3D-ready. Just as an aside... if it were not for this remake, I would never have gotten into the series. People who complain about remakes forget that there are millions of people out there who never played the original, and never will. Those are the people these remakes are meant for.

This is totally different from Bulletstorm. It was released just after I improved and finished the fix for the original game (people, remember that I also fixed some shaders for DSII Deathinitive Edition, check the thread if you don't have them), so I didn't have the strength to play it again. I know that you can import your saves, but in the original there were some issues that I fixed that happened only during certain bosses. If haloing issues are the same, I would have to check the entire game again. For people that are very interested in seeing this remastered game fixed, I suggest you to learn and do it yourselves (it doesn't look like other usual fixers want to do it). I would like fix it someday in the future, but it's very low in my priority list. Right now I'm fixing Metro Last Light Redux (heh, another remaster), and I have plans for some other games.

So is this good in 3D or not? the remaster I mean. and BTW I'm all for remasters as long as they are free for previous owners, or a new version of an very old game like Grim Fandango, Full Throttle. :D

It's working perfectly for me in 3D, credit to the devs. The only noticeable issue is the sky, but even that isn't terrible and you spend 95% of the game not looking at it anyway.

If the sky is too near the camera, this should fix it in the vertex shader:
float4 stereo = StereoParams.Load(0); o0.x+=stereo.x*stereo.y;
After o0.x is defined in the shader, of course. And if o0 is the position (sometimes it isn't). You'll see it in the shader.

More often than not someone says a game is perfect/great/good/playable in 3D and Zig says...
NO it is broken with 3D Vision.
I'm not sure why it happens, default(15%) Separation/Depth? not adjusting Convergence? ...no offense to anyone else but unless the game's been updated by the Devs since, I trust my eyes with Zig. :)

This game is still broken with the latest update on my system in 3D Vision. Problems Too Dark when I enable 3D Since I using Frame-interlace it suffers the missing red color examples of other games are GTA 5 Dark Souls 3 etc. This is playable with Tridef using the fallout 4 profile but crosshair is at screen depth.

For me it is also broken in 3dvision. Not a complete mess, but things do render wrong. For those that care I have had great success with using the Alien Isolation profile for CM mode with this game. Everything renders correctly and it seems to have pretty good depth albeit still 'fake' 3D.

I mean the original is not that old, how short are people's memories and why does everything keep having to be remade and new? Personally, seeing I enjoy 3d gaming now, I look first through the list of games on Helix Mod and then through the list on Tridef until I come to a title I haven't tried - then I check out reviews and if it interests me, get that. It's a cheap way to game, as you often buy stuff over 6 months old.

Fix is coming guys ... just need to check if a regex is usefull and/or possible or if i have ti fix the single halo effects one by one... do not have many time so do not expect this in the next 2 days ^^ ... if i need to play the game it will last somewhat longer... ...just rename the attached jpg to jps after download for 3D-V viewing.
