Yea, please don't provide us with dysfunctional drivers that only block the outstanding efforts of community members like Helix.

BTW Nvidia needs to hire Helix, not to write shader injectors that fix game devs stereo-breaking rendering method, but so that he could teach the devs to use stereo-combatible rendering methods.

Helix is the champion!

It'll be better if they could add some property to registry of function to stereo API that will give an ability to disable Nvidia profile.

I don't know what Helix' current day job is, but I'd suggest to work for NVDIA. Win-win-win-win situation etc.

Would like the option to toggle profiles on/off as well but I doubt we will get this anytime soon.

An option I've been asking for a long time, the ability to alter profiles or at the very least, change which .exe trigger which profiles similar to SLI/AA profiles would also serve this purpose as we could just remove masseffect3.exe from the ME3 3DV profile so it doesn't trigger. Nvidia still keeps their 3D Vision profiles very close to the vest however, so I doubt we will get this level of control anytime soon.

I'm still holding out hope that Andrew has a big update in store for us in the R300 drivers for 3D Vision improvements. From what I've seen even in reviews, discussion of the additional features of R300 drivers and Kepler were held back in the initial set of reviews, probably because they simply weren't ready.

No one actually tried the solution I provided? nVidia will not provide what you ask due to legal things and probably effort and we already have the tools to use this. Please try the fix that I mentioned and let me know if it works out:) or you can ignore me;))

Best Regards,
Helifax

I'll try your fix when I get ME3, Helifax!

P.S. If you really want to see a profile mess, check out Sword of the Stars 2. The main program is "mars.exe" which happens to be the name of some other game that already has a profile. The thing is a complete mess because it's using the profile for the wrong game! I'm going to have to try and pull some sort of exe switcharoo on Steam to get it to work. (If the developers can ever get the game to a state that's somewhat playable, that is.)
