Hi,
I've played other games on my PC such as Crysis 3 etc. using the Nvidia 3D option so I know that 3D works.
Unfortunately I've just installed the game and I am unable to enable the 3D option. I can't enable it in the game options as shown here - https://www.dropbox.com/s/b267bvlu6zo3633/BM%203D%201.jpg . It reads "NVIDIA (TM) 3D Vision Disabled (Use NVIDIA (TM) Control Panel to Enable 3D vision)".
So, when I look at the "manage 3D settings" in the Nvidia control panel and add the game, this doesn't do anything either. As shown here - https://www.dropbox.com/s/bzg02xygyjgy8i1/BM%203D%202.jpg .
I'm a bit puzzled it doesn't just let me enable 3D in the game options. Would anyone be able to help me with this please?
Thanks.
samedreamchina.

Hi Tsaebeh, thanks for the reply.
I have clicked that, but it appears none of the options included are applicable to me. This is the monitor I have
( http://www.amazon.co.uk/2311-glasses-58-4-Full-LED/dp/B005O8LE2G/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top )
and have used to play other games in 3D. To be honest, I'm not entirely clued up on 3D monitors.
The options included in there are the USB IR emitter, wired and pro hub glasses which I don't have, I think I might be missing something here.
Unfortunately, that isn't a 3D Vision Ready monitor, and won't work with the 3D Vision Glasses/Emitter. I'm not sure if 3DTV Play will work with it or not. Some games use their own renderer, they're not using 3D Vision, that's why they're working for you in 3D.

Ah I see, thank you. What grade of 3D monitor is this then? I've heard there's a few different ones. The 3D option in Crysis 3 looked great when I played it, it's a shame I won't be able to play this game in 3D then.

So apparently I have a passive 3D monitor, that isn't like the legit ones. Still, I have played Crysis 3 in 3D, it just won't have been as fancy as proper 3D set ups.

This process leaves gaps in the image which is filled in by the adjacent areas of the image ... anyway, have you got it working? When you do, you'll want to head over to http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ and learn about using the 3D Vision fixes there for games that aren't officially support(and technically some that are), as well as go into 3D settings and enable advanced in-game settings. This will allow you to adjust convegence, which enhances the stereo effect tremendously ... Lol ... Tremendously! 8)

Hi TsaebehT, I've been looking for a EDID override for my HP 2311gt monitor but can't seem to find one. In the link that KingPin1 provided there are only overrides for ACER and Zalman monitors.I'm going to keep on looking until I can though. Before this thread I had no idea what I was doing at all...
Again, thanks for you help it's appreciated.
