I thought I posted the steps on helixblog but it's not showing up on the comments for some reason, I'll quickly list it here
After the instructions above you need to do 2 things to get 3dvision, make the game run in a different nvidia profile and run in DirectX 9
[olist]
[.]Open Nvidia Inspector, click the tool icon to the right of 'Driver Version'[/.]
[.]Search for the Elder Scrolls Online profile[/.]
[.]Click the icon with the red X and remove 'eso.exe' application[/.]
[.]Search for the World of Warcraft profile[/.]
[.]Click the icon with the Green + and add application 'eso.exe'. Should be in your "\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client\" folder[/.]
This makes ESO use the World of Warcraft NVidia Profile
[.]Next is to set ESO to run in DX9
[.]Open UserSettings.txt which is located in your "*Documents*\Elder Scrolls Online\live\" folder[/.]
[.]Locate (If it's not there, add it)
SET GraphicsDriver.7 "D3D11"
and change to
SET GraphicsDriver.7 "D3D9"
[/.][/.]
[/olist]
This runs the game in DirectX 9
Done
I managed it now, by using screenresoultion and hz BEFORE entering game. Sadly in 720 its not so good looking, and in 24 hz it stutters. Dont run smoothly. But I guess thats MY problem. Need to get a TV that can run it in 1080p 60 hz I guess. Thanks for the answer I see mow....I will try that out. Both Tombraider and Thief was awesome in 3d....

Or just copy paste the eso.exe file, rename it wow.exe, and launch the game with this exe.

Looks great. Unfortunately I still seem to have issues with the reflections. I am not sure if my setup is wrong somehow, I'm using wrong profile, or thats the way it just is.
Can anyone chime in with the settings they are using to get this working?
Hi - which reflections? Water reflections? Can you provide a screenshot? Perhaps there is an area I've not been too with an extra shader or two to fix. You also absolutely must use a 'release' DLL, not a debug DLL - there is a bug with the debug dlls that render the surface under the water 'inverted' above the water, as well faint double images of other objects sticking out the water like rocks and so on.
Ok I found my issue actually seems to be due to the sweetfx settings I was using. Working great now, looks amazing. Thanks mike! Too bad my frame rate is through the floor.
Now I just need full screen mode FOV and an SLI profile... come on nvidia/zenimax ...

Hm, what sweetFX are you using? I tryed to get it working but game crashed on startup.
Yeah Sweetfx was why I was having problems, I removed it and all is good, was even pleasantly surprised that the ghosts so far seem to actually render at the correct depth. Big thumbs up

Anyone have any reports on 3dvision with the Craglorn patch today ? According to a post on helix blog dx11 works now.
This patch brought nvidia SLI and true full screen so I'm looking forward to some performance improvements all round.
I'm out of town for the day so can't play around till later, interested in any changes and comments from the community :)

For me at least 3D Vision does kick in for DX11 but there are issues. I only played with it for a minute but it does not compare with the fix posted on the helixmod site.
Also, there is still no SLI profile so in 2D despite have true fullscreen there is still no SLI support. The fps in 3D on DX11 was not good either.
Maybe we will get an SLI profile soon but I fear 3D Vision in DX11 might be only the fake 3D if that (does not appear to be using fake 3D at the moment).

Not sure what Jason is talking about here but from what I can observe it seems.....
1. Game works in proper full screen mode now.
2. DX11 3D mode now kicks in but has the exact same issues that plagued original release. (shadows/relect)
3. Patch notes indicate some attention given to SLI and seems to be the case as I am getting about +20fps
4. .. But only in dx11 mode on the eso profile =(
5. Can't run it in 3Dmode on the eso profile with Dx9 (so mikes fix doesn't work)
6. No improvements performance wise when running with mikes fix with a different profile. (wow)
Overall disappointed, hopefully nvidias next driver release has some love for this game.
Ayone else got Mikes fix to work on the standard eso profile?

Perhaps I did not clearly explain it but those are basically the same results I see.
Except that I see no SLI love. I did see improved performance but when I monitor it the game is still only using my first GPU. It just seems to be giving me better performance than before; especially in towns like Skywatch. I also noticed that my graphics setting in game had changed to custom and that Ultra-High present now maxed out draw distance to 100.
For 3D at this point I think the best solution is using the WOW profile and the 3D fix.

ok, I am definately seeing some performance increase in SLI. (but I do have alternative frame render to 2)
There is some mention in the craglorn patch notes about it also.
But yeah, definately still stands you are better off using mikes fix at this point.

And as of the last patch it seems 3d vision no longer triggers in Dx9 at all. =(
Works in Dx11 but as soon as I change to Dx9 and attempt to use the world of warcraft profile it just doesnt activate 3dvision at all.
Anyone else seeing this?
