If you have white flashes AND EVGA precision then I just found your problem.
1 / 2
So I had no white flashes, not once, not ever. Then one day, I had flashes every few minutes! All I changed was installed EVGA precision. I got pissed for a bit, then realized what I changed and uninstalled it. Fixed!

I cannot farking believe that that was what was causing my flashing. No more trying to minimize flashing by setting up elaborate setups for the transmitter and glasses, and no more frustration due to the 3d reversing during battles.

Tried this but still get flashes in Grid, not sure if it's the game though as I played SF4 and Prince of Persia after removing EVGA Precision with zero flashes, will have to test some more games.

Grid plays fine for me, no flashes what so ever. I don't have an EVGA card, so there precision tool may well be the cause of this issue. I also haven't suffered from flashes in any other games.

Grid and Pure still flash and i've uninstalled EVGA Precision with youruninstaller which removes all registry keys also, did fresh reboot, removed and reinstalled nvidia drivers, only other thing I use is rivatuner but I doubt that would be interferring, can I ask what drivers you are currently using, I have 1.10 installed.

Rivatuner is basically the same program as precision is just a different skin basically... it is done by the same guy. You might try removing it... and that goes for everyone else still having flashes.

if grid is getting stuck on the loading screen and you have a quad core or an i7 you need to edit a few config files. pm me for details if thats your problem.

Removed Rivatuner and have zero flashes in Pure now, haven't tested anymore games yet but I think it could be fixed, only thing now is I have to manually set my fan rate as I had Rivatuner set up to increase speed based on temp anyway it's a small price to pay for no flashes :D

Just for the record I do get a white flash every now and then but its more like once in a blue moon now compared to every 5 minutes and its usually if I turn my head away from the emitter really quick, I have played a lot of games since reinstalling for hours on end without experiencing the flashes so I think it's sorted. For anyone with this problem this is what I did
1. remove EVGA Precision and Rivatuner
2. run registry search in regedit for anything pertaining to Rivatuner or EVGA Precision and delete those entries
3. remove nvidia display driver and stereoscopic driver
4. boot into safe mode and run Driver Cleaner Pro to remove any traces of the old nvidia drivers
5. boot back into standard windows and reinstall nvidia drivers

I've see other thing, when i choose the second option when i install the glasses + emitter ( when you have lot of emitter IR on the room), there is less flashes, but i think i have a lot of emitter IR on my bedroom, i've try to use my "telecommand" and it make flashes on the glasses ^^.

Here're couple more datapoints.
I have Evga Precision, RivaTuner, Speedfan installed and absolute no flashes at all in two separate systems. One runs Vista 32 on Core 2 duo, stock speed 2.67GHz, the other Wins 7- 64 Ultimate, Manufacturing RC on I7 920 OC to 4GHz.

I cannot farking believe that that was what was causing my flashing. No more trying to minimize flashing by setting up elaborate setups for the transmitter and glasses, and no more frustration due to the 3d reversing during battles.
You rule for your finding.
