Which one of these monitors is best for 3D? I had a VG278H but believe the checkerboard effect was too pronounced. For anyone who has had the opportunity to compare these how do they rank in terms of 1. Crosstalk 2. Checkerboard Effect 3. Colors 4 Screen Uniformity/Backlight Bleed. I found the colors and screen uniformity to be great on VG278H, crosstalk was OK, checkerboard was bad on my unit.

Gigabyte Gaming 5 Z170X, i7-6700K @ 4.4ghz, Asus GTX 2080 ti Strix OC , 16gb DDR4 Corsair Vengence 2666, LG 60uh8500 and 49ub8500 passive 4K 3D EDID, Dell S2716DG.
¿What is the production date of your vg278h?
I have a vg278h too, production date of mine is january 2013 and the checkerboard in my monitor is noticeable :(
I have the VG278HE. The crosstalk is much better than my previous VG236H (before Lightboost). You can still see some in brighter areas. So far I've only tried four games (I've only owned this monitor for two weeks). I have seen no ghosting whatsoever in Arkham Asylum or City, none in Retrovirus, and some in Mass Effect 2.
Color reproduction is pretty bad. Difficult to get a nice bright image with lots of contrast.
Backlight bleed is not as bad as the previous monitor, but it does have the trademark purplish football shaped oval in the center. It's only noticeable on a completely blank, black screen, so why anyone would actually have a problem with it is beyond me.

Hmm.... Think I'm going for the benq for $339 refurbished. I already have a 3d vision kit so I might as well take the cheap option if checkerboard can't be avoided and crosstalk is about the same.
