Hi there, I just got a brand new Asus vg278h lightboost 3dvision 2 monitor that I love.
I have an alienware M17X R3 3d... This laptop has mini DP.
I'm using a proper Dl-DVI adapter that is 330 hz, designed for output of 3d to a monitor from mini DP.
With the 285.79 drivers getting 3d to the monitor through the DL-DVI adapter works great, no problems at all.
Once the 290.36 drivers are installed the 3d output to the monitor now STUTTERS every 3-4 sec.
Thus I have gone back to the 285.79 drivers.
I know that the new 290.36 drivers have DP 1.1 support now for the new BenQ DP monitors coming out soon.
I hope this is a problem that can be adressed as I know many people that use a DL-DVI adapter to output to a monitor.
Please help and please fix. Having new DP support is great but what about people who dont have DP monitor and still want to use 3d on their DL-DVI 3D monitor.

Unless we are talking about a 3dvision ready game with a default profile there or your display/projector is recognized as being less inches than in the previous driver, there is no way you can be having more ghosting. This is especially true if actually set the convergence yourself on unlocked games (most games actually). So check the monitor size key in the registry and see if the values matches the one in the previous driver revision.
Open regedit and check for monitor size here:
For 32-bit Windows:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D]
For 64-bit Windows:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D]
If the values with the different versions don't match you could be actually having more ghosting (provided that the 290 value is less).

In F.E.A.R 3 with the latest beta drivers I have to alt-tab out of the game and then back in at the start of every level and after every death otherwise the game runs at below 20fps. Once I have done this it runs at over 90fps. My system as in my sig.
Also MW3's 3d still doesn't work which i'm sure nvidia are aware of.

Running 290.53 beta driver and having some driver stability issues, specifically in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. When the game is initially launched, 3D mode activates and them promptly stops (reverting back to 2D). I can get 3D to reactivate by alt tabbing in and out of the game, and the game remains in 3D properly after doing so.
However, the biggest issue is the driver crashing. When I first played, the driver crashed after 30-45 minutes of game play. Screen blacked out then the desktop loaded with the driver crash and recovery message on the task bar. Couldn't alt-tab back in and had to force close the program. Progressively the crashes became more and more frequent, until the driver was crashing every couple minutes in game. Over heating wasn't the issue, my 570 never got above 75 degrees.

Hello Andrew, thanks for your help with 3d vision in the past!
I have a Viewsonic PJD6531w projector which is 3d vision ready.
Can you advise whether the NVidia graphics driver could ever be updated to support 3d in this projectors native 1280x800@120hz mode?
Currently 3dvision only supports up to 1280x720@120hz which is fine, but looks a fair bit worse than 1280x800 due to scaling and interpolation.
I did manage to get this projector to run 3d vision in 1280x800@120hz mode by using the 'Generic CRT' mode in the past, but going forward this wont be possible any more.
Is there any likelihood of an update for just this one projector?

I can`t Span displays in Surround mode. I have to stick to version 290.53 - every update after this one don`t have the option listed in driver`s menu (only link - no letters: "Configure SLI, PhysX, Surround"). When i try to do it anyway it kicks me back to previous mode.
