hello
3D vision driver don't use the true screen size value send by the TVs EDID. it add 10% every time
for exemple my 50VT20 plasma is a 50" screen, EDID send 50" value but 3D Vision use 55" screen size value for limit the 3D max depth
my HMZ-T1 sony HMD send 72" value but 3D vision use 80" screen size value
result an impossibility to push 3D at full depth on 3DTVs
why this 10% add? why we can't modify the size value ourselves like with PS3? i don't like this limitations
sorry for bad english
You can modify it by other means. Do a search for screen size. People have developed ways to change it. To be honest its not that much of a diff in those values.

Apparently, nvidia does!
There are options under the advanced 3D (rendering stuff, not S3D) that I have no clue about what it does, and nvidia will let me happily click to my hearts delight.
But Heavens forbid I want to tweak my screen size, just for fun, or swap the eyes on my glasses (so I can use what I paid for) because of a dev bug (or nvidia bug). Why should we be allowed that kind of control?
I mean, why let the customer make use of their product and have fun in the process?

And for those of us using projectors, heaven forbid we be able to set our screen to the actual size we're using, rather than some randomly-chosen preset! I paid $200 for the glasses + emitter, $600 for the projector, and I have to use registry hacks for basic functionality. GEE, I WONDER WHY PEOPLE THINK 3D IS EXPENSIVE AND CUMBERSOME

EXACTLY! Nvidia just doesn't get it....!
They think all projector screens are the same size, just how stupid are they?
