Playing field sequential DVDs with nvidia 3d player
I already have a purchased copy of CinePlayer, which works fine. nvidia's 3D Vision player says "You must first select a decoder before playing a DVD," however CinePlayer does not show up as an option.

Do I have to buy nvidia's DVD decoder? The instructions imply that any DVD decoder should work.

Thanks, Mark

I think it just uses whatever DVD decoder you have installed. Did you try rebooting your computer after you installed it? I am sure there are some free decoders out there like videolan or something... I just checked mine and it says Microsoft DTV-DVD and I had like 3 NERO decoders.

I rebooted, uninstalled, re-installed..........I also show the DTV-DVD option, but nothing else.
The CinePlayer works fine by itself, but 2D only of course.

Thanks, Mark
