Bioshock 2, with its shadow effects turned off is almost perfect if it weren't for the dam fog/smoke, is there any way, perhaps through the command prompt, to turn those effects off?

Funny thing is I have never noticed anything strange about the fog and smoke. The shadows are supper annoying though. I have played about half way through the game in 3d, but I recently deleted it cause it's not worth playing in its current state.

Perhaps you don't play with the latest drivers? The game is pretty playable now that a 3D sight is in game, the only real issue is getting rid of the fog effect cause when you're underwater it is close to unplayable.

I was using the latest driver with Bioshock 2 and yes the reticule helped. But I play usually around 100% depth, which would cause objects far off to be doubled, and I could adjust convergence towards me until everything aligned but then it was a bit to far out of the screen causing objects close up to double. Plus the shadows suck big time in this game, and bioshock with no shadows is not a game I want to play.
As far as being underwater the only part I got to was before dyonisis park but it was for the most part perfect in 3d. No ghosting or anything, just a shark swimming around.

I quizzed them on all sorts, including whether they were working on it at all....
Aaannd they said, we are working on it.
The end.[/quote]
I am really enjoying Bioshock 2 on 3DVision with latest drivers. Shadows are not perfect but not too distracting. Some ghosting underwater but very minimal.
Overall the dynamic water effects in the pumpstation are an amazing experience in 3D! This game is 100% better in 3D .
Everyone should try it!.

What kind of artifacts does SLI cause in this game? I am running GTX285x2 SLI and have not seen any artifacting.
