How to change dead battery in 3D Vision 2 glasses?
I had a brand new box of 3D Vision kit for backup, but unfortunately I forgot to charge them for a long time. I tested the glasses last night and my heart dropped. Battery is dead and won't charge. There's a tutorial for changing 3D Vision v1 glasses, but it doesn't work with v2. I can't figure out how to open the glasses and what battery spec I should get. I tried ordering extra pairs but it's out of stock everywhere. Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Just a quick update, the glasses came to life after charging them for a day. They have now solid orange full battery and working normal. A sigh of relief of course but it was a reminder not to shelve the glasses for too long without charging. I almost lost this pair but a day of charging worked like a defibrillator lol. Regardless, I ordered a brand new pair of extra glasses from Amazon, the only 1 pair in stock at the time. I might need the emitter though :) Th3_N3philim what's the asking price.

You are lucky they charged normally. But for others that come across this thread..... Another method to try, prior to replacing the battery, is to pulse charge them. Search the forums for specifics. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/824274/3d-vision/guide-how-to-search-the-3d-vision-sub-forum-more-efficiently-/ Also a user posted step by step disassembly pics for 3D V2 Glasses, if his link is bad, I also reposted them as a jpg somewhere. .....again, search the forums. if 3D V1 glasses, Bloody has a step by step guide on his 3D Vision Blog.
