Nvidia 195.81 Diver Solution for DLP /CRT detection problem
New drivers are released on the Nvidia beta site http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us . You must download the Geforce driver 195.81 (3D Vision does not list new package) information about driver claims it fixes DLP /CRT detection problem http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=311118 .
UPDATE: This driver like the last 2 appears to be a total failure in solving detection issue despite its' description.
UPDATE 2: No thankx to Nvidia I found a solution to 195.81 and detection / play.. RELATIVELY SIMPLE: Install 195.81 package (dont worry if check device manager and see yellow warning or can not enable anything except 3d Discover if trying to setup 3d). After this install the 3D Steriocopic driver from 1.15, it will warn that it is incorrect for driver, click OK, it will then suprisingly try to install older driver but request you to overwrite newer files (the dud in 195.81) many times but then complete. For me after this when starting the 3D test application it failed twice (no hard lock or BSOD) then WORKED!!!. At least in DAO and RE5 the result of 195.81 plus 1.15 Stereoscopic partially overwriting its poorly executed successor is a clear improvement over the 1.15 package.

I have notified Nvidia of the solution in my update number 2 at start of this thread, hopefully they will be able to correctly assemble the 195.81 package.

Today the GeForce driver v195.81 was released, which will help fix the CRT and DLP detection bug. In order to make the fix work, you will need the new 195.81 3D Vision driver which should be released later today.
I just want to repeat myself so I am perfectly clear: the 195.81 GeForce driver has the core fix for CRT and DLP users, but you will still need the 3D Vision v195.81 driver which is being released later today!
