Darkest of Days Will it support 3d vision?
I was wondering if anyone knows if the Darkest of Days game will support 3d Vision?
I can't get the demo to start (like a bunch of people) but didn't know if anyone has tried the demo and/or s3D.

I know it supports Physx, so I'm hoping nVidia will push the stereoscope function as well.

Hello SpeedKilz,

hello to all the others (this is my first post here ;-) ).

Well, I tried Darkest of Days only one (short) time with s3D - without any success :-( If I remember right, I read about the engine they used for the game - it's their own, not a known one (like crysis, unreal or others....) perhaps that's one reason.... I also tried renaming the .exe file - no success!

I'm sorry

Yes, the game engines uses OpenGL and thus unfortunately you cannot enable S3D mode with the Geforce 3D Vision :(

Thanks for the information guys! I was really hoping this game would support 3d...oh well.

Isn't Wolfenstein also opengl and isn't nVidia working on a profile for that game?

Wolfenstein uses Direct3D for singleplayer and OpenGL only for multiplayer mode... so no multiplayer in S3D, the profile is only for singleplayer mode.

Damn... Glad I downloaded the demo before buying it... If you go to nzone it appears to show the game as 3Dvision ready.
