3D has has stopped working reliably. All other options to get reliable 3D already tried?
Can I just add that I am also experiencing 3D problems with my laptop Toshiba 3D PC since updating the Nvidia graphics driver (to 295.73) as a few posters indicate; my hardware is different; and their problems are somewhat different; hence this thread.. /thanks.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thanks:' />

I used to be able to upconvert DVDs to 3D also; but now that has all stopped for months now. /teehee.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':teehee:' />

I have gone back to the origional Nvidia drivers; then back to the Toshiba version update [version 260.51]); but no 3D anymore upconvertion and some 3D Blu-Ray 3D movies only play 2 images side by side. /wacko.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> /wacko.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Its a pain as I have un-installed everything and re-installed all the relevant software form the Toshiba home page; but no solution.

I hate computers for the ten-thousandth time. /devil.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Its the last Microsoft product I will ever buy (Windows Ultimate rubbish [had to buy a new A3 color lazer printer as no Win 7 drivers for my existing laser printer]). /shock.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

SAMSUNG (3D internet TV) products from now on. No computers for ten years. Until the rats get it right and stop experimenting on my wallet. $10,000 on PC products in the past 5 years and still being able to do simple things like watch a 3D movie is a hit and miss affair. I`m rambling....because a hundred hours reading on how to get it working again has scrambled my head. /crying.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':'(' />

Toshiba A660 3D laptop. Satellite.
Windows 7 Ultimate. Updated.
Intel i7 1.73Ghz
Graphics is GTS 350M
4GB Ram (8-gig upgrade on order)
Spare 550GB hard-drive space.

Problems? /wallbash.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wallbash:' />

Toshiba own DVD 3D player (doesn't cut the mustard) 4.00.1.08
Toshiba Corel WinDVD 3D player (doesn't cut the mustard) Version 10.0.5.822

The Nvidia graphics works fine on the test background page; which makes me think software; but all the relavant software has been updated.
then I thought the discs were the problem. But 50 DVDs not working in 3D upscaling all by themselves?

I wondered if the original posters problems were deeper than his own system. Whether there was a systemic problem somewhere (besides blaming the buyer end-user). /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> /argh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':argh:' />

Toshiba assist line was a guy who knew far less than me and had to ask someone advice for every single part of the call. 2 hours to tell me to re-install the software in a long, slow, bit-by-bit way, eventually. /bloated.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':X' /> We done everything they can do to help. Now they blame the discs and the rest of the world.

Microsoft says its bugger all to do with them on their helpline/e-mail assist.

There is only nvidia left to ask.... /angel.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='O:)' />

My apologies for being educated in a different area of life. Hope you can help. Ask away.

I just did a download of a 30-day trial of Corel WinDVD 11 Pro software and everything works perfect. /w00twave.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':w00twave:' />

WTF?

IT APPEARS TOSHIBA IS DOWNLOADING An "update" Fault or a VIRUS TO PREVENT 3D SOFTWARE WORKING or something?

The previous Toshiba software newly installed and updated versions still do not work; but the new "Corel Toshiba" Toshiba COREL WinDVD PRO 11 software at almost $60 works perfectly.

I SMELL A TOSHIBA CON. /ermm.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ermm:' />

Try CNET for the download if your conniving hardware manufacturer is messing your software up also. /stud.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':stud:' />

Any other advice before I am robbed in the street? /spaz.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':spaz:' />

I posted this same question on the Toshiba forum; but they have FROZEN me out. They will not let me even log in. /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Do they know about it and are keeping mum? /pirate.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':pirate:' />

I might create another identity and ask again on the Toshiba site; and ask as someone else. /ninja.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ninja:' /> /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />

So I bought a new i7 4770 computer running a GTX 780 and the PC works in 3D but the Cyberlink garbage refuses to play in 3D on an internal 3D blu-ray drive using a blu-ray 3D disk. I have found a thousand other people having the same issues. Can NONE of you get 3D to play without all the horrid irritations?

Everything, games and movies, be it 3D SBS/TB mkv or a 3D Bluray Disc plays just fine on my system. For movies I use Power DVD and it plays all 3D formats just fine. Are you sure your new computer or monitor is in the 3D Vision supported list?
