Extending 3d vision IR emitter cable length
Good afternoon

I am very happy with the 3d vision kit and now I am using it with acer h5360 projector. The problem is that my computer is located in the back of the room near the projector and I can't find the way how to extend 3d Vision IR emitter cable by 7 meters so it would be in front of the room.

The methods I tried and they didn't work for me are those:

Bought 5 meters USB to miniUSB - IR emitter red
Bought RJ45 to usb extender - IR emitter green but 3d works with interruptions especially when I am looking on something bright it is not working at all.

Thank you for assist

I have this exact same issue with the same setup. I need about 25-35 feet in total length, but right now I cant get anything no matter how long of a cable I use. Hopefully there is a solution soon! Is there some kind of USB signal booster/amplifier? Thanks for any assistance!

Hi All

Please read this forum thread on the topic. I have tested some different cable extenders that too work.

My computer is upstairs and the projector and screen are downstairs. Is use a usb-cat5 adapter you can find on ebay. These work great and they're quite cheap.
