We need bigger screens
I think 3dvision is incredible when it works well. More immersive than Eyefinity with 3x1 monitors. I mean if we can have both technologies merged that would be the icing on the cake but... Anyway, we definitely need larger monitors. I know there are dlp screens but those aren't practical as your computer monitor. Any rumors/info about larger 120hz panels coming out in the 4th qtr? What happened to that Asus 120hz 24" monitor? I wish there was a paranoramic screen like that Alienware wrap around monitor. I would prefer one large super widescreen monitor like 5200x1600 than 3 monitors with bezels in between that was 120hz/3dvision compatible.

I have 73 inch MITS DLP, best computer monitor EVA! I have no clue what you are talking about. Like my last girlfriend said, size matters.

Ok, but then you need also supercomputer, because at that resolution you would have 5 fps in stereo in games.
I have problem now with Resident evil 5, I have only 40 fps in 1680x1050 (with GTX295), but probably it's due my CPU, i need highly oc'd Core i7 and I have only oc'd dualcore.

for a htpc environment on a couch 5-10 ft away from the screen I imagine it's great but on a computer desk only 2-3 feet away that's insane. here's hoping 30" 120hz monitors come out 4th qtr with the GF100.

try some aftermarket enlargement pills :)

No dude, it's not CPU bottleneck!! I have a Qx9650 at 3.8ghz 1800mhz FSB and 2 GTX 280 in SLI and I get the same average you do. I read your post about this subject and I use the same settings you do.
Who cares if it's only 40fps, game play is very smooth and it's freaking 3D!!!!!!!!!! It's awesome, who cares about benchmarking...

It is CPU bottleneck probably, increase number of job threads for game (as indicated in my "fps smoothing" thread ) and you will see.

How I do that?? I don't get what's job threads?? So, you were able to play with better average now?? I sometimes get 50fps, but the average is 40 actually.
I saw your explanation in the other thread, but I didn't understand, sorry..

That is because developers of the game should further educate, in my case i have dual core and only one job thread as default, you have quad core and probably 2 job threads, but these job threads are stalling of course.

There is configuration file config.ini located in your user directory, change value there and maybe we can prove that it is cpu bottleneck.

PS: and continue in that thread (I mean discussion thread :-) please

Actually, the Samsung PN50B450 is a 50" Plasma that runs at 1360x768. Although it doesnt perform 3D at the same quality as the Samsung 22"
