i am planing on getting an ASUS G50VT-X5 laptop. it has a Intel core 2 duo 2.1GHz, 4GB of ram, and a NVIDIA Geforce 9800m gs.
and i have a 3D-ready Samsung HDTV

will that notebook video card work with 3D-visions?

Yes, i have 9800M GT SLI on my dell m1730 and it work fine.
You just have to set details lower and stay far from crysis :P

Yes, i have 9800M GT SLI on my dell m1730 and it work fine.

You just have to set details lower and stay far from crysis :P

Personally, this is just my personal opinion. I don't know what your circumstances are
and maybe you need the notebook for portability.. but I would rather spend
the money on a kick a** tower with a high end video card.

Don't get me wrong you'll love playing in S3d on your notebook, however
it will VERY QUICKLY not be powerful enough to play games in S3d.
A 9800 m is barely able to push enough bandwidth as it is, let alone
in 3d everything must be done 2x.

Just saying..

just to nit pic, its only graphics that need redoying, and even then its about 1.6 times load not 2.
