3D TV Play trial not starting
Hi! First of all, I'm quite new to the wonderful world of 3D gaming and after reading a lot, and I'm really confused. I'm kinda fed up actually, Nvidia really made this way more complicated than it should for no good reason (other than putting more money in their pockets). Here's the key components of system :
[.]2x GTX 560 Ti (SLI)[/.] [.]Windows 8.1 Pro[/.] [.]Samsung S23A700D monitor[/.]
First thing, I understand that I can forget about 3D Vision since this is not a supported monitor. However, I thought my other option was to use this with 3D TV Play and a HDMI cable. I can get to run the 3D test in the NVidia Control Pannel, see the 3D logo and all. Then the text says that to play games, I should get "Nvidia 3DTV Play". I did that, downloaded the 14 day free trial activator. I rebooted my computer and.... nothing. Nvidia Control Pannel still tell me to get 3DTV Play and still says only "HDMI Blu-Ray 3D". What did I do wrong? (I fully understand that by playing over HDMI I am limited to 720p/60Hz or 1080p/24Hz. It is still better than nothing for now. I would like to at least give it a try and maybe, if I like what I see, I will concider buying a 3D Vision compatible monitor). Edit : Under "System informations" in the control pannel, it does say the 3D TV Play license (14 day left) is detected. Edit 2 : I did a complete uninstall with DDU. I then did a clean install of 332.21. Nothing changed

You are on the right track. That should work with 3D TV Play. And HDMI should work within the limitations of the cable bandwidth. It looks like the monitor supports dual-link DVI, you might try that it if it's not a giant hassle. You also get Tridef with that monitor, you should try it to see if it is working. I'm suspicious of 8.1. There are a number of odd problems it introduced for 3D. Shouldn't be a problem here, but it's known to be causing problems. Any way to dual boot to even 8.0? I don't use 3D TV Play, so maybe someone else can chime in.

It is supported, it's just buggy.
