Can we get a convergence bar that tells you what value it's set at? Like the depth bar. Converge
2 / 2
i always wonder about this myself too. unlike the depth bar that can be seen as 1%-100%, it could work as a benchmark or starting point allowing you to see if you are increasing or decreasing it from your start point and by how much.

Dig the idea, but I bet that'd be PRETTY HARD to implement, to say the least... considering there's games that need work-arounds to disable the in-game crosshair, IMAGINE what'd be needed to disable an in-game mouse, haha... but definitely think that's a killer idea!
Anyways, I wanted to say I'm also in favor of the convergence meter.. [/quote]
Imagine the 3D crosshair being attached to the mouse cursor, so it becomes "mobile".
In most games the image attached to the cursor can be found somewhere in the game directory: cursorimage.cur in most cases. You just delete or replace the image with a 1 pixel version.

And gonna throw it out there, if there was some way to save / load presets... I'm just thinking how many games I've played where "the action" has the camera panned out far, and dialogue scenes up close... might be nice to hit a button and have it jump to a second saveable/changeable convergence setting... just throwin' it out there...

I'm trying to write a 3rd party app that allows this functionality. I just have to figure out the hex values in the registry. Once I figure out how to change conv/depth in the registry and have the results show up in game in real time then you'll be able to change conv/depth based upon the keys you specify or press in game.
So when you go to aim by holding down right click, a different set of conv/depth settings will kick in. then when you release the right click it will load a different conv/depth profile like you said.
