Ok cool, will do I really hope its the origin one then because I already tested disabling MSI (I'd just completely forgotten about the Origin one)
MSI is the one that I am normally using. However it does make a small diff in the game related shader loading and artefacts and so on. But the origin one I expect is the one that F@ck big time ^_^.
I havent actually tried with it ON :))
Thanks to you and Mike I think I got to the bottom of this!
The origin overlay I suspect was not helping because it definitely manipulates the rendering of the game somewhat in SLI and ultimately the fault appears to be me following the installation and configuration instructions a little too closely!
I found only the BF4 profile will work for me, the mistake (like a moron) I was making was not applying the profile changes mentioned in the install instructions from the official profile to the BF4 profile as well! So I assume the shader caching being on or the default pre rendered frames setting was causing it to fail on the BF4 profile.
Might want to add a couple more lines to your install instructions in relation to origin overlay and changing the battlefield profile to match the profile settings suggested on the original to hopefully prevent idiots like me falling into the same trap =P
Is it possible to force a bit of AA through the control panel rather than inside the game which definitely is causing issue?
Once again, Thanks so much to you, mike and bo3b, now with any luck I can finally play this game!

Plz guys, I need you'r advice.
I am getting really low FPS with this game (22 FPS on bridges and fights, 30 FPS in cutscenes and occasionally 40 fps in empty areas) ..sometimes it goes to 3 FPS for like ten seconds and snaps back at around 30 and so on. I have a Phenom II X4 945 3.0GHz, GTX 670, SSD and 8 Gb RAM. (Win7 x64)
My game settings are:
Mesh Quality .............. High
Tessellation Quality ...... Medium
Texture Quality ........... High
Shadow Quality ............ Low
Terrain Quality ........... High
Vegetation Quality......... Medium
Water Quality ............. Medium
Post-Process Quality ...... Low
Ambient Occlusion ......... Off
Effects Quality ........... High
Post-Process Antialising .. Off
Multisample Antialising.....Off
Everything on Low barely makes a difference.
My nvidea settings are like the instructions: Max pre-rendered frames: 3, Power Mngmt: Maximum performance, Shader Cache: OFF, Rest default. I use Flawless Widescreen and everything described but i still get an ocassional crash now and then. It just pops me into window without any message.
FPS-wise, do you guys think if i upgrade my processor to a AMD X8 FX-8350 4.0GHz will i get a noticeable FPS boost? Or is it strictly the game's fault?
What FPS do you guys get on bridges, fights and cutscenes? I need to know if an upgrade helps or not.

Not sure how cpu bound this game actually is, I would be more looking at your video card. Hard to say if upgrading processor would be much help. If SLI wasn't so iffy in this game I'd recommend that.

Hey bro
Its your GPU i dont think it's powerful enough to handle this carnivore of a game! I had a GTX 660 ti AMP and i couldnt get over 20 fps in 2D with everything set on Ultra... Last week i replaced that card, now i have a single GTX 980 SC and i can barely get over 20 fps in 3D with everything on Ultra except AA & MSAA (both turned off and post processing at low)... The boss fights i end up with 10-15 fps!
See some of my screenshots u can see the fps in the corner of the screen from MSI Afterburner. I'm amazed the GTX 980 cant handle it! Must be double the work load in 3D even though my 3D output is only 1920 x 1080 at 120hz

Yeah basically... it's great that the lads have given us a beta fix, but I think i will wait till final given the fps.
The fps are capped at 60fps from the user.cfg that the fix generates (which isn't removed by the way from the uninstaller) I was wondering why i was only getting 60fps in 2d until I checked the root of my game folder and checked the cfg file.

For people getting crashes at launch, and maybe for 8.1 users, here is something to try.
Try going to your ShaderFixes folder, and delete everything out of it, the .txt and .bin files. Then add these .bin files back in. This is a complete set from the game, and if these are there, then 3Dmigoto will not need to compile the shaders. No idea if this will help, so please let us know if it does or does not help.

Pretty good performance for me in SLI. I just posted on the blog:
Performance-wise, I'm getting pretty good results. Just as a data point for comparison purposes.
Win7 x64, 344.75, SLI 760 4G, i5-4670K, 8G, 720p projector, BF4 profile.
With all setting on Ultra, except for AA off, low Post Processing as required, I'm getting 60 fps, even outdoors.
During a small fight near a rift, I took the following 1m fraps:
2014-12-23 04:23:06 - DragonAgeInquisition
Frames: 3505 - Time: 60000ms - Avg: 58.417 - Min: 47 - Max: 61
During the first boss/demon fight in the church:
2014-12-23 05:00:14 - DragonAgeInquisition
Frames: 3067 - Time: 60000ms - Avg: 51.117 - Min: 42 - Max: 61
SLI scaling is good:

CPU use is about 60% of four cores. Seems to be using at least three threads.
Also of note, I can alt-tab out and back in without crashing.
Game will sometimes drop out of 3D, and if I alt-tab out, then back in, it will most often be back in 3D.

Found an interesting thing. I see the 3D drivers are a bit busted currently. I don't know how much this affects this game but for example Shadow of Mordor is crashing instantly for me with the latest driver.
Anyway I reported it here:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/798087/3d-vision/-bug-report-3d-vision-driver-is-broken-with-release-344-75-onwards-including-347-09-/
The incorrect loading of all shaders that we see it might be related to this as well. I made a quick test using 344.65 and I didn't notice any incorrect loaded shaders.
If you feel like it give it a try. (Highly recommended test for Windows 8/8.1).

Read this post if you have trouble with SLI:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/788055/3d-vision/dragon-age-inquisition-/post/4400802/#4400802
You will make it work:)
Regarding FPS in SLI: I am getting around 25-50 fps in 3D in Surround @ 5040x1050.
Without SLI the game pretty much crawls...

Anyway I reported it here:

The incorrect loading of all shaders that we see it might be related to this as well. I made a quick test using 344.65 and I didn't notice any incorrect loaded shaders.
If you feel like it give it a try. (Highly recommended test for Windows 8/8.1).

Sadly, i get exactly the same problems as showed in his pictures (one eye => Picture is very "dark", as if there were too much shadows). Point is, i have a 780, an NO SLI. How can i fix this?
