Hitman Absolution - Can't select Stereoscopic option in launcher or in-game menu

Yes their recent Update fixed it so need need to use the oldest patch. I do like that NiXXes is giving us the options to downgrade updates if needed though. Similar with Tomb Raider

I recall it being pretty decent framerate-wise, but that was in 2d on one 660, with most settings maxed. I'm seeing similar performance to yours on on my SLI 660s, that's weird. But I can confirm I also have 3d working on the non-beta version, which is good. However there are some minor lighting issues, and the crosshair isn't quite right.

Yeah, NiXXes seem to be the kings of good console ports at the moment. Kudos to them. I'm pretty shocked at the framerates though. I'll have to spend some more time with it, and see the actual game (just been testing benchmark atm)

yes, .447 version gives back the stereoscopic option.
But the performance is shocking, at least in the benchmark. I'm getting like 25-30fps with 2 Titans, and that's with the MSAA turned off! Was it always that bad?
are you running 3D Surround? for my lowly 670 4G SLI rig @6100x1080, benchmark and in-game work more or less the same; mostly 25-30fps, intense areas would drag down to 15-20 a few seconds. I have MSAA off (of course), everything else maxed or on, except for Shadow Quality: Min (too bad it cannot be off), DoF off (useless for 3D), and bloom off (I hate it simply). this is pretty much the same as back when I finished the game. Titan SLI should do much better.

No, I'm just using 1920x1080. From what I've seen, and what you've said, it's starting to seem like the benchmark produces 25-30fps (or 60fps in 2D) almost regardless of what settings are used. Even if I turn off tesselation and global lighting it doesn't change much

Do the crosshairs line up correctly for you guys, or are they a little off?

I have never been able to get the steam version to enable the stereoscopic option for me. Day one launch to latest. Always greyed out. I have tried all driver versions you could imagine on win 7 x64 on 590 sli on and off to no avail. Of course numerous install and reinstall. Even just tried again now to see if I would have any luck. I am running 3dtv play so that may be the issue. Is anyone here that is running this successfully using 3dtv play on hdmi 1.4 projector as well? I just gave up since purchase and have never played the game. If anyone has magically figured this out you would be my hero... :)

Well I dunno but it seems like something is up. You have a projector and its at 1280x800 @ 120hz which is not 3d tv play compliant. Could download a legit supported 3d vision projector .inf [acer h5360]. TBH, I found this game unplayable in 3D. Alot of Lighting is 2D [Im guessing the DX11 secondary lighting]. Another possibility is chiri's force hertz/refresh rate. Something similiar happened in Sleeping Dogs and Im not sure if its relevant. I cant be certain since that settings thing pops up prior to game [not sure about sleeping dogs] but they all seem to be doing same stuff with eidos. Hi eqzitara, It's interesting that you should mention sleeping dogs. I was trying to get that to work well at the same time. The 3D in SD is flawless after Helix's fix, but what I find is that the FPS is cut in half as soon as the 3D option is enabled in the options. It doesn't matter if you have stereo on or not, the FPS drop is always there, and it makes an already badly optimised game unplayable. It's a shame there are no hacks to force the 3D vision driver to work instead of being bypassed by the game. I believe it has something to do with NVAPI. Helix has already provided a modified nvapi.dll file that bypasses a game's locked convergence. I wonder if a similar hack would allow the 3D vision driver to work independent of games such as Sleeping Dogs / Hitman Absolution?
