Thanks for the reply chief0. I'll give those drivers a try. I toned down the OP, It was harsh because I'm really frustrated with Nvidia, I don't game often but when I finally feel like it more often then not I end up wrestling with Nvidia driver issues all night instead of actually playing the game. I have two other issues right now that are equally bad and unresolved (I can't turn off my TV without the PC monitor in another room losing the video signal - workaround: Leave the TV on.. Another is a black bar flashing non stop in nearly all games in 3d 720p 60hz.

I can understand that... I dont game that often either but when i do i expect awesomeness... especially from a 295, but then again they release drivers with the intention that its fixing other problems, not to create more work for themselves... I do have another monitor but not hooked up, so i cant say if im having that issue as well, i can test it later for you to see if its maybe related to the 295(since its so hard to find others with this card). I'm not seeing any flashing bars in any games, so it may just be tv settings?

Thanks chief0, it would be interesting to see if you have the same monitor problem. I have both of mine hooked up to the two dvi outs on the top card (both with dvi to hdmi adapters) which one is hooked up to which output has no effect and I have the display set to span across both not mirror. Primary or secondary doesn't seem to matter either, I can even disable the TV but if I leave it connected when it turns off the monitor still loses signal.

The black bar thing is the lower right half of the screen in the bottom and comes up about 1/10th of the way, it only shows up in 720p mode and only in one "eye" so it appears to flash. I'm guessing if you haven't experienced it you may have the unified single card version of the 295? Mine is the older dual card sandwich version.
