Planet Coaster - 3D Vision
I just preordered this game. Hope it works good in 3D vision, the beta opens on the 9th. I will post an update after then. I coulden't find anyone that has tested it in the Alpha. Any fellow 3D enthusiasts getting this game?

I'm buying it mainly for 2D gameplay. It's a top view sim-builder so you should expect the mouse pointer to be in 2D and make stereoscopic building of the park very uncomfortable. I'll give it a try in stereo 3D as soon as I can. Maybe riding the rides and visiting your own park may be the most stereo 3D usage I might use. Early beta reports talk about a very hardware intensive game though. So expect to lower the graphics settings to enjoy 3D.

So I gave it a try with 3D Vision (discover, on my generic 2D monitor) : I obtain a 2D picture in both eyes. On the gameplay side, the game brings me so many great memories of RCT. The departure from the rigid world grid is the big feature over the old RCT games, but it's very painful. Everything takes twice the time to build, set up , fine tune, etc... The game is a big time eater (even more than Cities Skylines) I also find the game seriously lacking in polish. Many UI glitches, bugs, and downright badly designed stuff (the camera system). Nothing truly game breaking but I am very often frustrated when trying to build something stuff. It isn't a worthy v1.0 release, I feel like the game is still in beta but released in a hurry. Yet the game is still so addictive. One more thing : the game is really bad at teaching it's inner workings. Expect try try and fail many times to use features because you don't know how they work.

You can ride the coasters in First Person view. This would look amazing in 3D. There are some sensational community coaster layouts out there already.

There are some PLANET COASTER 3D SBS videos on YouTube. Pretty good 3D depth on my 3D monitor and VR headset.

I tried again to play the game with 3D Vision. I still get mono vision. I do see the geometry moving when tweaking the settings, but I get the same eye view in both eyes.

On my computer, I still get the same thing. It renders only one eye. I did manage to get it running with Tridef, but there are too many shadow issues for the game to be enjoyable. Besides, the type of game has too much UI<->game interactions with the UI at screen depth and the world varying wildly in distance. Even if somehow the game were fixed by community patches, I wouldn't play it in 3D. I'd only want to use 3D for visiting my own park once it's finished... with a crawling framerate.

So took a look yesterday with this game. Enabled some stereo flags with Nvidia Inspector. I get now the Green Nvidia screen at the right bottom. Still renders one image. so from this point i have no idea what steps to take next. Want to fix game`s to give something back but it is all new to me :( only some expierence with inserting shaders in Gta V for graphics
