3d vision setup wizard LCD-inbuilt IR-transmitter not working?
I've got a quick question: When the test-screens appear, should I be able to see the 3d-effect REGARDLESS of what refresh rate I'm running on? So running at 60hz would probably result in heavy flickering. Or is it possible that without sufficient refresh rate, there is no visible effect at all? Because that's what I'm getting - nothing. The picture looks the same, glasses on or not.

I got an Acer GN245HQ yesterday, which has an inbuilt IR-transmitter. Maybe it's not working? Does anyone know, if I have to install/activate that sensor somehow? My glasses always turn themselves off after 10 seconds or so.

The display is identified as 3d-ready by the NVidia control panel, btw.


EDIT: this is kinda important to me, because IF there is supposed to be a 3d-effect after all (even at 60hz) and all the transmitter-related stuff is supposed to work automatically, maybe my LCD/glasses are broken and I'm gonna send the whole thing back where it came from.
