I just like to share a few tips I use and really makes the rollback a lot easily. 1) I keep my system image small (Drive c: is less than 35 GB.) 2) Always use a image program to do system image before any update or upgrade. http://www.backup-utility.com/free-backup-software.html freeware Pro version backups faster. 3) If you update or upgrade your system image and don't like it save it as a new image and then rollback with the image you created in step 2. Also I have a separate drive for backups and apps in my computer label d: this is local I also have a NAS (wired) 1 GB which takes 10 minutes for a backup and 15 minutes to restore. My backups on my system drive take approx 5 mins and full restore is done in under 10 mins.

Yupp! AOMEI Backupper is a very handy and awesome tool! (Standard/freeware one does a very good JOB! I would recommend the PRO only if you manage more than 1 PC and want to do fancy stuff with your backups;) Like: Boot on LAN or merge all previous Incremental Backups into one - just to name a few ^_^ ) Been using it for more than 2 years now! Awesome tool;) One thing I will recommend though;) Make sure you use A LAN connection when doing FULL back-ups or Restores! LAN is 200% faster than WIFI (even the 5GHZ one): - Wifi - 25.5 MB/sec - LAN(Gigabit) - 75.5 MB/sec (I assume we are backing up an good SSD with big Read/Writes Speeds) For the incremental/differential back-ups the WIFI will suffice ;) (Unless you modified LOADS of stuff;)) I also recommend turning off the AntiVirus while performing FULL BACKUPS. (For example Avast will overkill my CPU with 70% usage for Real-time File Scanning). Once is done, make sure to turn your AV back ON;)

I just experienced this on my Laptop yesterday! - 3D Vision was enable in NVPanel. - Started the Nvidia test. - 3D Vision got engaged as I could see double images. - However the glasses would not SYNC! - I also noticed, that If I started a game on my Surround rig (next to my Laptop) and the 3D Vision would kick in, I could also see the image on the Laptop! (Basically I was using the emitter from my Desktop to see the Images on my Laptop :)) ) - Setting Game Mode OFF didn't initially help, until I rebooted the Laptop. So, it is possible it does something in regards to controlling the emitter. Is this the same thing you guys saw? (I was still getting the Nvidia Overlay but no synchronisation with the glasses).

I have a built-in emitter in my ASUS screen. I did not have problems with the sync of the glasses, but that the double image was not being provided as well as the emitter itself did not start. Typical fullscreen issue though. Now it is fine with game mode off.

Just wanted to mention, that Dark Souls - Prepare to die edition dosen't work for me any longer (game won't even start), since the creator's update. Disabling game-mode didn't help. Removing the helixmod files and disabling 3D does work, so it has to be 3D-vision related. It's a shame, as I'm playing the game right now for the first time and I'm already 20 hours in.

Hey Reupel, it is also not working for me. But it is because there is some weird resolution problem. As far as I remember I had this before to. What is precisely your issue? Here a picture how it looks for me.

There is a new compatibility option for exes in the creators update to switch off full-screen optimization. apparently, rather than disabling game mode completely, this can be used to disable some of it's features on a case by case basis. From what i read, this new full screen optimization is an "improved" version of borderless full screen mode, that is applied to several game that formerly would run in exclusive full screen mode. This was done so they can profit from whatever tweaks were done for game mode (since game mode only effects games in windowed or borderless full screen mode). Sad to see that 3D Vision got the short end of the stick when compatibility for these new features were tested. Of course completely disabling game mode is the easiest way to revert to the old way, but maybe, down the line bugs with game mode can be ironed out and it might turn out to actually be a good thing for gaming. In hopes of that, i wanted to share the insights about the new settings.

As W10 users, report it to Nvidia, perhaps they can implement Borderless Window support For the time being, helifax made that useful guide for performance optimization, which is probably a better than what microsoft is offering

For me the game doesn't start at all, al long as the Helix-dll's are in the game directory (regardless if I turn 3D vision on or off). There's just a tiny second were a window pops up, then it goes back to steam.
