Warcraft 3 and 3d vision BIG PROBLEM Help needed
Hi,

I have the Nvidia 3d vision running on Samsung 2233 RZ windows 7 64 bits, 285 gtx and a I7 870 processor. I am experiencing a serious problem when playing Warcraft 3.
Randomly, the screen just shuts down and the monitor blue light starts flickering (the same way it does when the PC is shut down)..only the PC keeps running (I usually play games with Winamp open and the music keeps playing even after the monitor goes dark). At the same time the green light on the IR emitter goes dim.
It only happens when I play Warcraft 3 (all other games run just fine). I have the latest official drivers (1.13). I tried inserting cable in the other port in the video card, also reinstalled the drivers. Pressing the buttons on the emitter or the glasses doesn't help. Windows log shows nothing. The only solution is to hard reset the PC.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Yes. And it seems to occur randomly. I tried closing all apps (winamp and firefox) and kept just War3 going. The same thing happened. I have no antivirus or firewall running when playing.

Some games just don't work in 3d period. You could change your settings to disable 3d when the game launches in the nvidia control panel. This way you should still be able to play warcraft and you would just have to enable 3d with ctrl + t in your other games.

I am. But this is not why I purchased this kit and the game rating is 'Good". I'm curious if others have experienced similar problem with this game.

Of course instead of Hard reset , you could just learn the right key to press to reboot, or bind a key on your keyboard. It doesn't solve the problem but at least avoir hard reset.
