Output 3d without 3d monitor and kit
Hey I'm not sure if this is possible but I was wondering if it would be possible to output the 3d frames from a game without having the monitor and glasses.
The reason I want to do this is in order to record some 3d game footage with fraps without a 3d monitor or anything
thanks

Not possible. You need the 3D vision kit at least...

Try the iz3d driver side-by-side mode. I think it works with fraps as well. Maybe even tridef ignition works but i'm not sure.

You actually can. Before I had a 3D monitor, I wanted to try recording some game footage in 3D.

All you need to do is set up 3D Vision Discover in the nVidia control panel (if you don't have any Discover glasses, just guess the answers). When playing a game, it'll look red/blue but if you record the video in a recent version of Fraps, it just records to image side by side.

I just found out that you can force 3D by simply choosing Generic CRT with any display hooked to your GPU
