Hi guys. Just made an account cause I needed help on this..
Upon exiting any application while using the 3D vision stuff, my emitter will stop and my glasses turn off as it should, BUT my monitor will be stuck in its "3D mode" with its weird unchangeable brightness settings.
I'm running an Asus VG236H monitor with a GTX470, and an i7 860. Using the 270.61 drivers.
This really isn't a big problem, just annoying and something I wanted to point out.

I have the same with a ViewSonic LCD; what I always do is to open IE browser as if I wanted to go on Internet and then, close it. 3D mode will always come back to DVI mode.

One out of 3 of those monitors does the same exact thing for me. Rebooting fixes it but upon launching anything in 3D it locks the one screen in 3D. I haven't tried swapping cables around to see if it is a single monitor or not.

Sometimes have same issue - and it's mostly with apps that turn 3D mode in Windows mode.
One 'solution' I have is turn on game Live for Speed (yep, play it.. and it loads fast :P), and just exit it - this always manages to turn off 3D mode on screen.

Hmm.. well that's lame. This never happened when I first got my 3D vision stuff. I think it must be a driver issue. I'll roll back to the 260.99 driver (the driver that was out when I purchased my 3D vision kit) when i have time. If it does fix it, hopefully someone at Nvidia sees this and gets it fixed in the next driver release..

Try Nvidia 3D hot key "control + t" to turn it off, if that doesn't work, enter and exit the image test on the set up page of the control panel. I've hit the "apply" option in the set up tab to remedy this while using 3DTV Play, but I'm unsure if that resets the sync for people using Nvidia glasses.

FYI, using LG W2363D monitor and GTX 275.
