Does anybody have the ASUS 24" VG248QE monitor? How is crosstalk?
I've looked up several reviews of this monitor but none really talk about crosstalk. I'm about ready to pull the trigger on buying this but would love to hear from someone who has one and uses it for 3D gaming.

Not the same monitor, but I'm pretty sure a VG278H is the same monitor internally other than the actual screen being bigger. Pics, tried to get some in high contrast areas. http://i.imgur.com/LxRU3CT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/wPplGAF.jpg http://i.imgur.com/J68jieq.jpg Disregard if someone can prove the two are totally different, but crosstalk is only noticeable in very very high areas of contrast. Any monitor designed to utilize 3D will have very little crosstalk, so I wouldn't worry too much.

I have a VG278HE. Seems to be the same specs. While in 3d mode, you can adjust 3d contrast and lightboost. Default contrast is an eye searing 90. I set it down to 60, lightboost at half, and get no perceivable crosstalk, except in very extreme/rare cases.

Good to hear, I have a Samsung 55ES7500 HDTV and was hoping the monitor would handle crosstalk better than my TV does. Sounds like that's the case, thanks for the info. Now you 2 have me wondering if I should go up to a 27 inch monitor.... hmm. I already have the 3D vision 2 kit, gonna go compare prices again.

Well I have it and so far its great. The price was to good to pass up. I dont notice that much crosstalk ever. I am sure some games or something might have it. You can read others talking just about the monitor "//hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1730425". Not about 3d just the monitor talk I believe. I have tried all the other 27" and take this 24 hands down.

Thanks Zeeblade. After reading the reviews of 27" monitors I've decided to go with this one. 27" would be too big for my desk anyway, as I have a dual monitor setup. Ordering today :)
