@kingping Turn off SLI and confirm it happens with SLI OFF. Helix cant look into anything SLI related but I might try if its SLI. Ive seen it before but backwards. Non-sli had same issue happen in LA Noire.

After finishing Resident Evil 6 (thanks again Mike for the fix) I wanted to start with Castlevania yesterday. Downloaded Helix-fix and some nice sweetFX settings. Following the authors install-instructions I put the following three sweetFX files into the bin-folder while leaving all the other sweetFX-files in the main folder: 1)Injector 2)d3d9.dll 3)dxgi.dll ....since helix-fix is also located in the bin-folder I renamed the sweetFX d3d9.dll and added the proxy-lib line under [General] in the DX9Settings.ini (just as usual) Unfortunately the game won't launch now and I have no clue why. When I delete every sweetFX related files the game launches just fine. Any idea? Could it be I should put all sweetFX files into the bin-folder and not just the threee files mentioned above?

Sweetfx has more files. Like inis You include those? Delete helix fix and see if you can launch sweetfx first.

I have finally arrived at the castle (which surprisingly is a good amount of hours into the game), and there's an issue after beating the lord of lycans, the next stage has wrong shadows all over the place. I discovered that the high convergence, low depth trick works really well and made the game perfectly playable in that stage. Later on, the game works just fine again with high depth using the fix, just wanted to mention it in case you get to that part of the game.

@ddorpm, proxylib doesn't work(yet) with DX9 Extended interface which this game uses. You can use hook version, i've posted link to the blog comment with it in this thread. @birthright, what fix do you use ? I finished game already and shadows were correct at every level.

Am I missing something? I followed the link but couldn't find anything regarding the use of sweetFX or hook mode on the blog....... thanks helix! i was using the original v4 mike_ar69 version, not your updated fix, I'll check it out later, amazing to hear that you fixed the book, it's incredibly annoying in the old version since I crank up convergence a lot, so it was really broken, thanks again!
