Cables for 2233RZ: where to get good dual link dvi-d? Help!
So I want a longer dual link DVI-D cable to connect my 2233RZ with my computer as the one that came with the monitor was too short. Does anyone know? I got one off of ebay but it didn't work when I set the monitor to a refresh rate of 120HZ (which of course we all know is needed for 3D). Would preferably like a 3 metre cable or so, and am in Australia if that helps (willing to pay for overseas shipping if that's needed to get a decent cable). Cheers.

Hi, Check these out:

Belkin DVI DUAL-LINK CABLE 2.4m (£19.99):

Belkin DVI DUAL-LINK CABLE 4.9m (£24.99):

Both the same just different lengths.

Spec:

-99.99% oxygen-free, solid-copper conductors and high-purity, silver solder joints drastically reduce signal distortion for unrivaled video clarity
-Silver-plated conductors deliver best high-frequency response for optimal resolution
-Five-layer shielding isolates from outside noise for superior clarity
-Precision-formulated, polyethylene dielectric material maintains stronger signals that yield superior video accuracy
-Impedance-matched construction reduces loss and increases bandwidth
-Ferrite inductor block protects against unwanted interference
-Integrated strain relief protects against wire damage for consistently high-quality video
-Abrasion-resistant, flexible PVC jacket maintains integrity, even when bent
-24k gold-plated connectors create precise contact for low loss
-Non-slip rubber grip and integrated color-coding provide comfort and ease of install

I know that the 2.4m retails for about £100 (well it says so on ebay, if it actually is, is another thing :) )

I have the 2.4m one myself with my Alienware AW2310 and works perfectly.
Being Belkin the build quality of the cable is amazing for a DVI, the thickness for a DVI cable is a monster compared to a normal DVI cable, and the best part is the DVI casing is Aluminium, making the cable look superb. for £20 it a bargain. Also it does sound, but you need to connect a SPDIF cable from your motherboard to your graphics card to enable it.

Hope that helps
