This game looks interesting and it's gotten the best reviews for a DB game in a long while, has anyone tried it in 3d? With so much flying around it should look good in 3d.

Does it need PS4 to play? If so,it might not be suitable for me. For me,Z Fighters is enough because it is a mobile game.
I'm resurrecting [s]Frieza[/s] this thread. My brother bought the game because it's on sale (I'll probably do the same soon. For now I'm using Steam family sharing) and I've played it today.
I found water reflections (city and Kaioshin planet water confirmed) and floor reflections (Dende palace and the room where you start your first mission confirmed) that needed a fix, and also the portals between the city zones. Those things are fixed now.
The small portals in sidequests use a strange reflection that seems wrong because the eyes differ at 0 convergence, but the typical haloing fix isn't fixing that. I'll have to take a deeper look at the shader.
Here is a first version of the fix: https://www.dropbox.com/s/r9k1ebioo7u17mf/dbxenoverse_3D_fix1.7z?dl=0

Optionally, place the two txt files inside this file (https://www.dropbox.com/s/0rfl89z1bxtx34u/dbxenoverse_cel_shading_off.7z?dl=0) into the "shaderoverride/pixelshaders" folder (overwrite the existing ones) to disable cel shading in characters and environments. If you only want to disable one of them, delete the other file. The first line of each file will tell you which is which.
your brother will be happy.
No, because he doesn't play in 3D (until I get my 1080 and he inherits my 760 in a few days, at least. He also doesn't like the flickering of the glasses). I've bought the game for myself yesterday too, by the way.

Thats a wierd gripe to be worried about considering how much better all properly supported 3d games look compared to 2d. Does he have one eye?

Samsung SSD 840Pro

He has two eyes, but he also is/was epileptic :p. Maybe it's because of past events, that he doesn't like flashing lights, like strobed monitors (unless it's at 120Hz).
Anyway, I'm posting now because I have good news to tell. I have fixed 3 more effects: the portal one I mentioned before (it was also a part of one of the Golden Frieza skills), another water reflection (lake inside a cave), and another transparent effect of that Frieza attack.
Also, you will be able to optionally disable sun rays/glare.
You can expect a new release tomorrow.

Optional pixel shaders are inside folders that are inside the "optional" folder. Place those txt files inside "shaderoverride/pixelshaders" if you want.

After lots of time of being lazy, the fix is on the blog, with crosshair depth hotkey and other extra things that I could do after learning a bit the possibilities of the helixmod dll.
