Bad news man. It doesn't run for me at all. It crashes right after booting up the intro menu thing with a runtime error. /thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I can't get 3d to activate at all, even if I rename the executable to something compatible. Sorry man, doesn't look like it works yet.

All nV has to do is acknowledge it exists or let us force 3d activation like should've been done in the first place. I don't know what is with the fascination over taking control out of the users hands.... they aren't Apple and they shouldn't try to be. Let us be power users darn it.

Those are the graphic design (cad) video cards meant for professionals. They often just parallel a particular gaming card, but nV charges a heck of a lot more for them. I also believe they have some special enhancements in the drivers for opengl.

Basically, the fact that it is working on the Quadro cards is completely worthless for 99.99999999999% of gamers.

EDIT: The Quadro cards do have significantly more ram though, which is certainly useful for cad applications. The FX 5800 uses the gtx 285 graphics chip but has 4gb of ram. It is also nearly $7000, which seems obscene.

Its true that for gaming purpose its waste for going for nVidia Quadro cards. They are expensives and will not support all the games as geforce do. As per ur [post="567324"]first post[/post]

2 - Will 3d vision only work in games in fullscreen mode or does it work on window mode also.

i have replyed to u for this.....

So do you actually game with a Quadro? Or do you mostly use 3d stereo for professional tasks?

to bad it doesn't work tho, i know a few people that are totally addicted to RF and would get the 3d vision if it worked, maybe when new drivers come out or something it will work, ill probably will still get it anyway, it work with EVE online and Spore, and i like to play those once in a while.
