new STAR TREK game pc version exclusive gforce 3D support
I was reading the nvision 3D issue 2, pg. 105 that the new star trek will support nvidia gforce 3d vision. This is nice to hear, something 3d goodness in the near future. Ben Hoyt (ya me too...Ben who? cares) Paramount Digital Entertainment said " what was most impressive was how easy it was to get it working"........sounds like gloating to me! This said, i am a big fan of star trek and have very high hopes for this game.

I'm looking forward to this also. There was discussion everyone with a nvidia gpu would be able to use 3d. With the cheap red and blue glasses. I'm not sure what happened to it though...

Would you like SLI Support for your game?

Cryptic Studios is doing Star Trek Online and they made Champions Online. Even though Champions Online does not have a Profile, it works fine in 3D. I really don't see an MMO coming out in the Future that you can't enable 3D Vision on. Yes, I know, there are some out now that don't work, but who plays AoC anyways?

Come on Nvidia, this is supposed to be free with subscriptions to Nvision Magazine, and the web page is a completely dead link (http://www.nvisionmagazine.com/dac), not a place holder or anything.

You are playing Champions Online in 3D? Can you tell us what version drivers you are using? Seems Cryptic can not get Champions compatible with the newest Nvidia Drivers now. Thanks much. It is a great Game in my opinion. For me the best by far mmo I have ever played, and I have played more than I want to admit in the last 25 years or so. It is not like the others and not for everyone. People who do not want to plan, think, be open minded complain. PvP, people complain. 99 percent of the game population loves it to death. Only the 1 percent who will complain in any game they play. Anyway, it would be nice in 3d. Thanks much.

i see the demo is out on steam. I have downloaded it but have not had a chance to play it yet. I thought this was the mmo version, but that is a different game all together. There are two star trek games but this seems like a simple java game you would play on.............. i dont know, facebook perhaps. Anyways will have to fire this thing up (d-a-c) and give it a go. I am really waiting for the MMO star trek game. A whole universe to explore in glorious S3D.
