When they give an ETA for a driver it's normally within about 30 hours. Often well within.

It's not just indoor, its an overall framerate drop down with 3D Vision installed (not active).
And no game or nvidia option change my 3D Vision FPS performance.

Just wanted to clear things up with the current 3D Vision driver.

It not just affect the indoor performance.

Here my FPS for a outdoor level:
Driver uninstall: 40 - 50 FPS

Driver installed but not active: 20 - 25 FPS
Driver installed and 3D Vision active: 15 - 20 FPS

And ManuelG wrote:

So let's wait and see. :)

yeah, sure - any ideas what this server license costs? i could easily buy a new gaming rig instead. /blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

however - still nothing new about this "3d ready" game that wants to be played on strictly 2d systems. /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

It would not be so easy you could just try to run the exe in a compadibility mode of an earlier version of windows? :O

I've seen a marginal improvement with the new patch. I get a steady 35-45 FPS outdoors now, less dips down toward the 25-30 mark and indoors i now get 10-20FPS instead of 8-15 but indoor areas still suck. I had a little play with lighting and extinguishing torches in the pit fight area and noticed a change from ~25FPS to ~40FPS once all the torches are out so I'm thinking the issue has a lot to do with the use of flames and lighting effects as there are lots of candles, fires, etc in houses, in a similar way that lots of candles in DA2 gives a big hit to framerates in 3D.

Can only hope that NV can work a fix for indoors in the next driver set now

hm - you could try to set the "number of shadowed lights" in the options to low and see if that helps - and keep us posted if it does. /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Nope, made absolutely zero difference :( at least at the inn anyway, might try it in some other houses/huts too.

Standing at the same point in the inn:
Shadowed lights low, SSAO on = 12.2FPS
Shadowed lights medium, SSAO on = 12.2FPS
Shadowed lights medium, SSAO off = 12.2FPS
