Just won't work! Problem with 3D Stereo
So I realize a few days ago that there's this thing called 3D Stereo. Holy Crap Cool! So I download the driver. It installs fine. Got a pair of red/blue glasses lying around so I figure I'll at least test it with those before I go buy some expensive things. Turn it on...hmm looks the same. Mess with it for forever...still looks the same. No matter what I try I can't get any 3Ding action and I have no clue what's wrong. Here's my specs:

Althon 2600+
A7N8X Deluxe MB
768MB RAM
Geforce 4 Ti-4200

I'd appreciate any help you guys could offer!

Are you using stereo drivers that are the same version number as your regular forceware driver?

Did you select anaglyph mode in the stereo panel, and do the medical test?

Search this forum for compatable games and problem solving.

HTH.

No, I looked and I'm using stereo driver 78.01 and Forceware driver 77.77 Might that be the problem?

I did select anaglyph mode, but the medical test doesn't work.

Thanks.

Could be the problem!!! You need to use the identical version stereo drivers (77.77) along with the exact Forceware (77.77) drivers.

Probably the best thing to do now, is to uninstall both drivers, and install both of the 78.01s (regular first, then stereo). There's not really much difference between the drivers unless you have a 6500, but they are easy to get hold of being the latest release.

Games don't work if you have a mismatched pair (apart from the odd OpenGL one).
