Since the release of Thief 2014, player feedback and reviews have been not so good. I was really hoping for the new reboot to be more favorable in terms of mechanics. I'll purchase it when it goes on sale, anywhow, I've been craving for some Thieving and Knocking out of them poor NPC souls. I've managed to get both Thief 1/2 working 3D Vision like charm. With the widescreen for Thief - Deadly Shadows, 3D Vision kicks in and looks pretty good. I did use the High resolution texture packs and DS Tweak to rid of 90% of the HUD, 3D is looking dam good now. There is also a ini tweak for the camera that gives a great view distance of Garret in 3D. Switching between first person to 3rd person is simple as hitting a keystroke, gives a new perspective for playing Thief
This leads me to my question, sorry for the preamble, but I've tried using the Helixmod to have a keystroke to switch between two different convergence settings, but the problem is the game refuses to load when using the Dll. I have tried the debug dll as well and no go. I understand this game is using an older unreal engine and I've notice there are two executables loaded. "t3.exe" and "t3main.exe"
Also, I have to set convergence each time I start the game since ctrl + F7 does not work. The other issue is the convergence resets on each load of a level (unlike the originals, there are a load screens within missions).
Does anyone have any suggestions how I can use the Helixmod dll to use the multiple convergence and also save the settings in the DX9Settings.ini. The game uses DX9 so I am hoping there is a way to accomplish this. I've always thought the third version of Thief was the weakest because the developed it for the console, but using the texture pack along with widescreen and ini tweaks for the HUD, the game is pretty awesome in 3D. Any suggestions are most welcomed.
Cheers all!

I couldn't find any combination of debug dll/launcher to show red test and/or dump the textures but I did find that deleting the Thief: Deadly Shadows profile using NVIDIA Inspector at least allows you to save the one convergence setting using Ctrl+F7.

Thanks Tsaebeht, I found the same results with various dll/launcher and had the same results. I will try your Nvidia Inspector route and see what happens. Cheers on that suggestion!
Update: Deleting the profile with Nvidia Inspector didn't help. I suspect that it has to do with the two processes because the dump folders are created with the debug dll on the "t3.exe" but the game must use the "t3main.exe"....hmmmmm, not sure...lol

Sorry I was about to respond, something distracted me and I forgot all about it. :)
t3.exe is associated with Terminator 3, I deleted that profile also I just didn't think it was relevant because it didn't work initially when I deleted it and after it was working the game was definitely saving to the 't3main' profile.
