The 3D Vision rating was updated in driver 364.51. When the official 3D Vision patch was released and was the basis for comparison, this driver was not available. Hence, I was wondering whether I was missing something when they changed the rating to 3D Vision Ready.
So, is there a technique for swapping out versions without reinstalling each? Thanks

Dude again! Read the opening post and if you can't figure how to change versions without reinstalling the game... the... perhaps you should stay out of PC gaming... Is explained and SHOWN of the first page.... FFS do some reading!
The new driver added NADA to the game. They changed one string to another : "Fair" -> "3D Vision Ready" was the only change the driver did.

At first, thanks for amazing fix!
I think sli do not work properly...
I`m using 980ti 2 x sli & latest(364.51) driver.
5th of March fix --> 25~30 fps
7th of March fix --> 10~20 fps, around 60% gpu usage.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

Had the same problem than CyberVillain after upgrading to the latest drivers (364.51). The custom 3D Fix is not kicking in, neither is CM working properly (and cannot be disabled nor is it really announced).
Fix it by using the GeForce 3D Profile Manager method instead of importing the NIP with nvidia Inspector. The ROTTR profile has been updated by nvidia and now the NIP from Helifax is not compatible with it anymore.

For me also the CPU (i7 870) is the bottleneck and OC had the most obvious effect on FPS when using 3Dmigoto. But more then 4 GHz is not possible for me if I don't want to burn my PC. On my system there is a clear difference whether I use only 3D ("real 3D", not CM) or 3D+3Dmigoto. It may be "only" about 5 FPS but if You allready are around 20-30 FPS this migth the few FPS that make the difference between playable and not playable. I have also noticed that settings like resolution, AO etc. that should only affect GPU (see https://steamcommunity.com/app/391220/discussions/0/451852225134000777/) also seem to have more effect on FPS with 3Dmigoto than without. So reducing resolution, turning off AO, etc. helped me to get better performance on my "CPU bottleneck PC". I think a reason might be that 3Dmigoto uses the CPU for its fixes? Another setting that helped me to get better performance was the detail level.
Don't ge me wrong: I'm not complaining about 3Dmigoto! I know that it is the fault of my weak PC. But for some of us 3Dmigoto has a (small) impact on the performance that makes in some areas the difference between playable and not playable. If You are lucky to have a high end PC where You (almost) don't see any difference in the performance then congratulations! But don't regard us unlucky ones as hypochondriacs ;)
Personally I deciced to continue playing ROTTR and not waiting until I can afford better hardware. In Soviet Installation I had to switch to CM in some situations and generally have to use low or middle detail level. The game still looks great and within the tombs, caves, etc. I can use 3Dmigoto with good FPS. Also in Geothermal Valley only the village in the beginning caused a significant FPS drop like the lumber mill in Soviet Installation did. But luckily the village is not in the center of the map and seems to have a better LOD scaling. So I could play this level completely with 3Dmigoto. I fear that later the Lost City will force me to switch to CM again but I can life with it. And last but not least: This game is just awesome! I have played the comnplete game in CM only a few weeks ago and nevertheless just love it to play it once again. And when I will have better hardware in some months/years I'm sure that I will love to play it again in all the glory of the 3Dmigoto fix and good FPS :)

That could be a problem if Nvidia drops stereoscopic support in their "consumer" drivers for everything other than VR.

For the guys without highend hardware I want to share my settings.
I 'm on Win10, driver 364.51, latest 3Dfix (THX to helifax and the others!), imported profile with Nvidia profile manager (importing via Inspector failed for me).
My specs: i7 2600K @4300Mhz, 970gtx G1 Gaming (single), 16GB Ram, installed on SSD 850 Evo
Game runs between 30-50 fps (30 when looking around in demanding locations e.g. fire in g.valley)

As others mentioned above, the 364.51 driver does not seem to work correctly with the Inspector NIP import file (no errors reported, but 3D does not work correctly) - so must use Profile Manager method to change profile. Does anyone know how to copy/paste helifax's profile (in posting #3) WITHOUT requiring manual editing to remove line returns and line numbers?

You drag and select. Copy/Paste. No line numbers will be copied. :)
I haven't tried importing the NIP in the latest driver... I always use the OFFICIAL Geforce 3D Profile Manager to import all my profiles! (the way is meant to be done;) )
