Same engine so game will be broken at day one but Helifax fixed Dark Souls 2 and OneUp03 did something with DX11 version of Dark Souls 2 SotFS (expansion) so we might get someone interested in fixing this one as well. Game looks so much better then previous one - definitely graphic is improved so it might be more difficult to deal with new effects. So bad looking forward to this game when playing Bloodborne on borrowed PS4. Whole last weekend with it - no sleep no peace !

I also look a lot forward to it. I think about a day one purchase. I still haven't enough Bloodborne on my PS4. It is just that good without 3D. DSIII will have the same engine as Bloodborne.
DSIII will have the same engine as Bloodborne.
Bloodborne engine is completely new. Was created with help from Sony that`s why the game is exclusive on PS4. Must be something more to that since we getting DSIII on PC as well or maybe that was just a license for one title only and other games will be coming to PC as well. Anyway Bloodborne was a mixture of a few engines and new DS look exactly the same so it might be the same Engine after all which is great because what I`ve seen completely suits my taste.

Oh no... SHOOO go away!!! SHO SHO!!! You HAD to remind me about it didn;t you!!!! I'll probably end up trying to fix it 'cause I am sucker for Dark Souls games :((( Finished the 1st and 2nd like 1001 times already... YOU HAD TO REMIND ME!!! SHOOO I SAY ^_^ Go play ROTTR or FarCry or other games...Minesweeper:)) ^_^ Now, that the fun is out of the way ^_^: - I think the game will pretty much be busted in 3D:( I will probably be able to make a CM profile (if one is not provided by Nvidia or other Community member) in a few hours after I launch the game. - Since is DX11 and not DX9 (thank God) I think we will be able to fix, if 3D Migoto will work without issues and if HLSL will not have decompiling issues;) If it does, we will swap to the assembler! (Now that I am more familiar with ps/vs_5 assembly ^_^). - Probably I will need help from the "elder" shader-fixers here (Mike, DSS and everyone else) but I am optimistic ^_^! (Unless it comes with an OpenGL renderer O_o) - Also, HOPEFULLY IS NOT A FREAKING SHADER GENERATOR LIKE ROTTR! Or I'll commit suicide! -_-

I love the Dark souls series. It reminds me of a time where games where really in depth and not just AAA theme park rides. I fell in love with Demon souls and have been a fan ever since. The original Dark souls with the Mod that fixed everything and the 3d patch is one of my most beloved gaming experiences and one of the best games to play in 3dvision imo. How ever Dark souls 2 just didn't seem to capture the magic especially in terms of level design. This game is looking like a return to form with the original director back at the helm. I hold hope for quick attention and good luck to whoever takes an interest.
and OneUp03 did something with DX11 version of Dark Souls 2 SotFS (expansion)
I think you should take a look at the helixmod blog post again if you haven't in the last few months :p. It's fixed completely (well, aaaaalmost), with shadows and reflections included. In the working effects regard, it's now more fixed than the DX9 version. I volunteer for DS3 as I did with DS2:SOTFS, but I'm a cheapskate and will probably wait for a 20€ or lower sale. Besides, I want to play it with a new GPU, so we're talking Pascal release date minimum.

I hope that one of them will get this game at day one. Game cost a lot of money and I don`t think it will drop anytime soon, not before end of this year - you have to consider all the DLC content which will keep this game fresh for a long time.

It`s been confirmed by reviewers that this one work on Bloodborne engine and have locked 60 fps - can`t unlock it even through config file (changes don`t do a shit).

This seems like a good game to pick up for the shared ShaderHackers account, since we already have an interested ShaderHacker. That would allow masterotaku to take an early look.
