need help with 3d build
hi guys thanks for reading my subject im planing to upgrade my pc for 3d vision but my GPU is away from me now i will buy another one is GTX 260 is enough for maxing out game settings and 3d vision and im new for this stuff i want decent monitor for good price i want your thoughts thanks in advance

Motherboard: Msi eclipse Sli X58

CPU: Intel Core i7 930 4.0 GHZ

GPU: asus DCII GTX 580

RAM: corsair 6 GB 1281 MHZ DDR3

SSD: Corsair Force 120 GB

HDD: WD 500 GB 16 MB buff 7200 RPM

HDD: WD 1 TB 32 MB buff 7200 RPM

PSU: $ilverstone ST1000-P 1000 Watt

OS: Windows 7 home premuim

Case: antec DF-85

Audio: X-FI extreme audio 5.1

I love austria its people are the nicest people on earth no offence to the other countries

Hi Johnny. As the direction you should travel depends critically upon your desired destination, how about sharing the actual games you wish to play? Also, your sig lists the GTX 470 as your GPU. Why downgrade to a GTX 260?

Before upgrading to GTX480 sli I was using a GTX295 and even that wasnt powerful enough to max settings and run with a decent framerate... and I am using the Smasung 2233rz so max res is 1680*1050

The Samsung is a nice monitor however I bought because I am not very patient LOL but having said that the lower max res would help with lesser hardware...

As above tho what are you looking at doing with the setup?

thanks for reply but my cousin has taken my GTX 470 so i was thinking to buy good GPU

thats tough to say but i was thinking to play Resident evil 5 on 3d but i remmeber something that i had to max out all settings to play on 3d
