tried CRU to add a 120hz mode, did not turn up in SOMA, but i think its not related to why its not swiching mode to 3D. DSR is turned off

It says Windows 10 detected, which is not true, im on w7
Also, the game always crashes when exiting, this did not happened last time I played wolf when it used to work

Thx! I looked in the logs and everything is exactly the same.
[s]What version of Windows 7 are you using exactly? Does is have SP1? Is it legit or a cracked one? [/s]
The version detection is done according to MSDN:
#define _WIN32_WINNT_WINTHRESHOLD 0x0A00
#define _WIN32_WINNT_WIN10 0x0A00
// Copy pasted from Windows 10 SDK
VERSIONHELPERAPI IsWindows10OrGreater()
{
return IsWindowsVersionOrGreater(HIBYTE(_WIN32_WINNT_WINTHRESHOLD), LOBYTE(_WIN32_WINNT_WINTHRESHOLD), 0);
}
[s]I can't see why that would fail, unless something is not right with your system there...
[/s]In any case that one detects and sets the fullscreen flag for Windows 7 as off (to avoid a "Out of Memory" bug in the Win7 drivers when you are using Single GPU/Screen)...
I also re-tested the wrapper on my machines here and Windows10 is reported Windows10 and Windows 7 is reported Windows 7 (when looking in the code)...[s] this puzzles me...[/s]
Edit2:
The logic is correct in the wrapper, but The comment that is printed in the wrapper is wrong! It should say exactly the opposite:
"Windows version lower than 10 detected". Thanks for pointing this one out;)
/End Edit2
Since it works with Anaglyph and monitor but not with 3DTVPlay I think is driver bug or something related to your setup (in a way which I cannot determine).
The refresh-rate with 60Hz should work as well...
I don't know what to say there nor can I test it...
Edit:
You can try setting all these flags to FALSE (in the ini file) and see if it makes a difference:
SyncToMonitorRefreshRate = true ; Should we sync to monitor Refresh rate? Or leave it run "Wild"? Try this setting to see if you get "less eye-sync" problems.
AlternateFramesRendering = false ; Default value: OFF. Frames are rendered: 1/2->show; 3/4->show; 5/6->show. If ON, frames are rendered: 1/2->show; 2/3->show; 3/4->show. Setting to ON MIGHT improve eye-sync on some systems or decrease on others.
ForceFullScreen = true ; Flag used only in SLI configurations. Forces the DX Device to be created in FullScreen Mode.
ForceWindowModeSupport = false ; Force Window Mode context creation. This setting will not force the render engine to work in window mode. It is a flag used for DX device/context creation. Some applications require it.
FullScreenDetection = false ; Enable of Disable Fullscreen detection. Some games will enter in a loop if this is enabled.
About running as admin, you have to literaly press second mouse button over the .exe and click the "Run as administrator"...then press OK in the message. If you are the admin of the PC and you don't do this, you will not run the game as administrator.

nope ! always two images side by side like the first time i tested ; with all the settings like in the original ,also with settings to FALSE , Win7 , 361.43 , 60hz like DHR (i understand now why Hitman is running well with your PC ... at 720p ;) ) , with and without change in CRU .
Perhaps the problem is my version is a torrent(for testing of course ;) )who knows ?

Mine is also a torrent for testing, but Amnesia is from Steam and same problem there.
helifax: setting them to false did nothing :/
I also had Rage installed so tried with that game since its a different game egine, same result, anaglyph on monitor side by side on 3DTV
DHR: are you on 3DTV play?

Yes, DHR is using 3DTVPlay.
Well I really don't know. I never made tested the wrappers on 3DTVPlay to begin with. Since is using the same Nvidia drivers it just worked before.
I assure you that all the fixes + wrapper works. Just look in this thread and you will see that everyone got it working and I assure you that the wrapper works!
I am unsure what is so special about your setups there....
What I can ask you to test is this:
- Use nvidia inspector
- Find the profile for the game and DELETE IT!
- Try the wrapper again (Right click-> run as admin).
Maybe is something in the nvidia game profile that makes them not to work...
You need to test a bit for yourselves:)

There are two options in nvidia stereo options, 3DTV Play or HDMI Checkerboard
If I choose the later I no longer get side by side, I instead get a image that looks like when viewing shutter glass 3d content without the glasses.
Really feels like there is something going on with 3DTV Play and activating 3D. Ordinary DirectX games works offcourse.
I find this profile with inspector
soma.exe-3D Vision Wrapper, delete it and retried soma (as admin). No nice. :/

@CyberVillain
Spec: win7 64bits, 361.43 driver, Gtx 980 Factory OC, i'm not using FRAPS, MSI Afterburner or anything like that, no overlays also.....in fact this PC is lucky to have an antivirus installed.
**In-game
1280x720 / 60hz / Fullscreen / VSync on
**3DVisionWrapper.ini
Only change this: EnableSplashScreen = false
All other stuff are the ones that come with the fix
**NvControlPanel (the ones i always change)
Energy control --> Prefer Max Performance
Vsync --> On
MFAA --> On
Stereo depth --> 100%
Enable Advanced Shortcuts
Note: i'm using 59hz for the desktop (default, but i have the 60hz option also...maybe you can try using 59hz)
Also try launching the game with your desktop in 720p/59 and 720p/60.

Will try some more tonight, maybe the 720/59 trick in desktop will do it, because I notice that the 3DTV display does not change mode. Usually when starting a 3D game the displays goes black and back again and the 3DTV OSD reports "3D signal detected" but with the wrapper nothing is displayed and the game starts in side by side.

Since you are pirating, your file structure is probably different than everyone else.
Just like the Steam version is often different from the GOG version in regards to file structure.
I don't know why any of us are trying to help you, since you do not have a legit version.

I have no idea, my friend:( Really, no idea!
Everyone so far said that the wrapper works with 3DTVPlay (since I am using NVAPI internally and that is part of the Nvidia Driver). So, unless nvidia introduced a bug in the drivers, I don't know... Then again, D-Man11 reported that it works on 3DTVplay...
Are you using and EDID override or something? Can you you try it on a 3D TV ?
Don't really know, I have it working on 4 PCs here (but all of them are 3D Vision Ready PCs)...
You also mentioned that in 3D Discover (Anaglyph) it works correctly... PROOF that the wrapper and the fix works perfectly fine...
So, don't really know what is happening there....
