TOTALLY CONFUSED ABOUT 3D PLAY
I have a GTX 560Ti GPU. I want to unleash the 3D capabilities of the card. I want to add a 3D HDTV (LED or LCD) to get the 3D output, not a 3D monitor. I have read about 3D TV Play. But it is not explained well enough for me to comprehend. I am unsure if i have to buy the 3D vision glasses. If yes, then why are they saying that it would use the 3DTV manufacturer's glasses?

If you have a 3D Vision kit, 3DTV Play is free as long as the emitter is connected. 3DTV Play is $40 to purchase. 3DTV Play works with HDMI 1.4 compliant 3D HDTVs/Projectors using the "manufacturers glasses" 3D Vision glasses will not enable with 3DTV Play only with 3D Vision supported Displays. Your 3D HDTV must be on the supported/requirement list in order for it to enable. http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-system-requirements.html If your HDMI 1.4 3D HDTV or 3D Projector is not on the list, follow the instructions at http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2774/~/how-do-i-know-if-3dtv-play-supports-my-3d-tv%3F

So for you you just download 3DTV play, pay your $40 then plug a HDMI lead into you TV, boom youre good to go. no need to have 3d vision glasses or a emitter (thats what the software negates) and it uses your existing 3D tv and glasses.
