Humble bundle is offering Tacoma free if you sign up for their newsletter. Seems harmless enough, but I will let you decide. I can only say this game was fantastic in 3D, and now its FREE!

Here's how I got it working in glorious 3D:
To get perfect 3D just take the .ini file from DHR's awesome Unity Universal fix and use it with 32bit version of 3Dmigoto 1.3.11 (replacing the ini). Set the ini to use the 2017x unity fix, and you are good to go. The game looks amazing in 3D and almost feels VR-ish at times with the AR user interface thats in the game.
Oh there was one issue, the rewind/FF controls did not display on my screen due to the high level of convergence I was using (it was moved offscreen). I would suggest turning off 3D briefly during the first AR "conversation" so you can learn how to rewind, FF, play - then turn 3D back on. hint: you need FF and rewind to see every part of every conversation. enjoy and thanks to DHR!

Thanks for the heads up on this one.
[s]Fix approach no longer seems to work. Looks like game was updated at some point. No longer 32 bit, and when I try using DHR's Universal Fix, it's not successful, the game is still a mess. Did not put much effort into it however.[/s]
Not sure, use HumbleBundle/Steam version. Also requires -window-mode exclusive in parameters.

Thanks shift-E :)
I don't have the time right now to test it, but first thing I will try regarding the hud, will be a profile change to Tomb Raider: Anniversary, which is known to keep the hud 2D, no matter how much convergence you use!

The Tomb Raider: Anniversary profile makes the HUD 2D because it uses the flag "StereoCutoff=0x00000002" together with a StereoCutoffDepthNear flag value. Unfortunately in most DX11 games that flag breaks a lot of shaders. This isn't usually the case in DX9 which TR: Anniversary uses.
Also the Humble Bundle version still uses the 32bit executable as far as I can see...

Yeah - actually I know that, but I have used in a couple of DX11 games with succes, but you're right - a better advice is to try different values in StereoCutoff, my favorite which doesn't have any unwanted 2D effects is 0x4B1CD968 from Total War:Arena

D-Man11 said:This is by no means complete, I separated these out by hand and need to finish up someday. But I figured I'd put them here, in case anyone could get some use out of it. Perhaps someone that knows how to do it using a script can make it more complete.
But anyhow, via dumb luck and trial and error, it's sometimes possible to make a game playable by tweaking an existing profile or making one.
