GTX 680 with 3D Vision in Battlefield 3 Does anyone have benchmarks available?

So even with a third GTX 680, only 40 fps would be the max?

You can have 60 fps at times
but when you are outside you will mostly be locked at 40...
I wish Nvidia could have responded us.
Is there a rig on the planet at the moment that can play BF3 at 60 fps constant.
I just played BF3 online for about 30 mins. It was on an open map. A lot of green grass with hills. Sorry, I don't play BF3. My FPS often went about 60 FPS but generally it fluctuated between 40 and 65 FPS in 3D Vision. I noticed especially hat the GPU usage fluctuated wildly from 60% to 90% constantly. I think the driver updates will help this. I must say that the game was perfectly smooth online in 3D Vision. Without 3D vision I was getting between 130 and 150 FPS with Ultra settings.
I forgot to mention that I was playing with V-Sync off. I experienced no 40 fps lock that everyone keeps talking about. My FPS jumped above 60 FPS at times as well. In single player during the jet fighting mission I was getting 120 fps or more in 3D vision.

you just said your FPS fluctuated between 40-60
with a 680 SLI setup you should never ever see 40
The 40 FPS lock we are talking about only happens at times when you are outside, No matter what you do you are always stuck at 40 hence you also mentioned your FPS was at 40 at times.
Play in 1080p
make your settings Medium or even Low and you will see that you will still hit 40 fps at times.

2 points, v-sync is always on when 3D vision is active. And if you were playing the jet fighter mission with 3D vision you would not've had 120 fps yet alone more.

This is benchmark I did with my setup. Everything Maxed at 1920x1080, vsync off. It's not on this list but when I did the test gain from gtx 580 sli to gtx 680 sli were 20fps+ in 2D mode and 14+ fps in 3D with vsync on. I don't know how much difference it would have made if I turned off vsync when I was using gtx 580 sli though. I still have gtx 580 sli but I am too lazy to put them in and check.

Surely you mean 60fps per eye = 120fps in total?

It shows 120+ in Evga Precision. Im talking about while in the jet by the way.

Being in a jet or being on the ground makes no difference. You had 3D vision running? It won't show 120fps cos 3D vision is locked to 60fps per eye with v-sync. EVGA precision is wrong if that's the case.

Now I have gone into the nvcp and enabled fxaa. I then set aa to let application decide. In the battlefield menu I turned off aa and now I'm getting over 100 FPS with 3d vision on and settings ultra. Look at shinobiers post above. He too is getting FPS in the hundreds. I know what you mean when you say it's only possible to get 60fps in 3d vision but we are getting more than that according to precision. If it makes you feel better you can cut precision FPS in half. All I know is that the gameplay is silky smooth.
