3DS footage available in anaglyph....does this mean that somewhere out there might be side-by-side 3
http://www.giantbomb.com/3ds-footage-kind-of-in-3d/17-3910/

Okay so from this video I am assuming that it's possible for at least some journalists/game insiders to output the 3DS footage in other methods of 3D to make anaglyph videos a wider audience can see. Maybe this means we'll start to see some 3D Vision compatible footage in the near future, or at least side-by-side footage we can put into the stereoscopic player ourselves. What do you think?

Not likely. Developers gave those clips not journalists. No commerical means to output 3ds to computer and won't be same format.

Yeah that's why I put an either/or in between journalists and game insiders (aka developers) - I wasn't sure if Giantbomb used a professional video output device the larger game news organizations are often given of Nintendo handhelds for screenshot purposes (they did this with the GBA at least, not sure about DS or anything since though), or if they were given the videos by Sega directly since they didn't really elaborate. Their last video (http://www.giantbomb.com/ask-me-anything-super-monkey-ball-3ds/17-3901/) was a recording given by Sega though so you're probably right.

From the wording of the second video, though, it seems like Sega is giving journalists actual side by side 3D footage since they said they could see it in 3D and didn't hint at it being anaglyph. I still hold out hope that developers will put some videos on Youtube 3D so people with anaglyph can still view them but so could we with our 3D Vision!

Did anyone try watching that video with anaglyph glasses? I did and it looked like crap. I couldn't even tell if it was 3D or not! WTF!?!

And yeah, it was probably the devs that produced that footage. Although its not hard to believe there could be a TV-out plug at some point (or maybe only Nintendo has it).
