Wasn't the acer file just for a projector that wasn't natively supported for 3d vision? the 750 is natively supported for 3dtv play so I don't think you need that mod file.

Not sure on glasses upside down, won't have my 750 for a week still.

Yes but I'm using 3x gt750 for 3d surround. Last time I tried 3dtv play will not work in surround mode. If this has changed let me know..

I'm searching for the same answer. I've had Nvidia 3D for the past couple of years and RARELY has it ever worked with any 3D projectors of mine. I've tried two different GT720's (the original version and the updated firmware version), a pro160s, and now my current GT750. All of these projectors are 3D-ready displays (as long as it's not Nvidia 3D). The only projector of those 4 that was compatible with Nvidia was the second GT720. I've since upgraded to the GT750, which I assumed would be no problem for Nvidia, but if it were that simple I wouldn't be on here right now...

I've yet to find a working solution for the GT750. I know others apparently have gotten it working with the IR emitter, but I couldn't get it working on mine using the same version of the Nvidia updates and hacked edid files that they recommend using for it... I even tried modifying the stock edid from the GT750 with no success.

So it would be an improvement to me even if I DO have to use the acer hack to run it. At least I could get SOMETHING working

If you dont mind me askin, what version of nvidia display drivers are you using with that? and what edid file are you using with it?

The Acer override only spoofs that a 3D Vision supported display is connected. You'll need a 3D Vision emitter to activate it with the override for using 720P frame sequential. You'll also need the override for 3D Vision Surround.

The GT 750 is supported via 3DTV Play, which is $40 as a stand alone product or free if you have a 3D Vision emitter conected.

Yeah, its supported with 3DTV but you can't use nvidia's IR glasses with 3DTV. You have to use optoma's glasses (which I don't have). I'm trying to get the GT750 to work with the existing IR emitter/ shutter glasses that come with nvidia 3D. I have the 3D vision emitter and as of now it hasn't activated anything. It glows green as soon as I plug it in but none of the EDIDs I've tried have been recognized as compatible displays.

Reguards the GT750's.. I have never had any issue getting them to work with either 3dplay using the optima glasses but it would not go into suround mode (using all 3 projectors together).. The way I get all 3 running in 3d vision+ surround with the nvidia 3d vision 2 glasses and emitter kit, was a little fidly but first step is to look in your windows 7 devices & Printers, if you see optima display listed or default display you need to download the Acer Mod file.. right click on the projector, select properties, Install the driver making sure you use have disk, browse to location and select the acer moded file.. Reboot and check your device and printers again to make sure it shows the projector as an acer sometimes you have to do the process a couple of times.. In my case I then run the nvidia control panel select span displays with surround, and again I should see all 3 projectors connected to the gtx 590 as acers..Once the surround is set up I then go to the stereoscopic settings, i checkthe box for activate stereoscopic.. You should see the 3d vision logo, if you see the 3dplay logo then its not reading your acer mod file correctly so get another and start again.. Clicking on setup steroscopic should then open the nvidia instalation screens showing emitter connected, turn the glasses on (wear them upsidedown or the next screen that asks you which image you see with the left eye etc will not let you continue).. After this you then run the test stereoscopic vision and you should set it to 1080x720 or you will get the red warning message, if all goes to plan you should see that ugly nvisia logo spinning around, in full 3d..
