Continued improvements and bug fixing for a Windows 7 specific memory issue that occurs on configurations with 8GB of system RAM and some NVIDIA GPUs during extended game play
i update and run the benchmark with all max out (3DTV Play with a GTX 980 OC edition / 350.12 drivers and BAK profile imported)...now the game is running fine. When nvidia smoke is on screen the fps drops a bit.
But yes, the game is a total mess in 3D.....basically, shadows/lights, Haloing issues and some decals in the wrong position.

I test with 3Dmigoto 1.2.1 / 1.1.34 and the game have random crashes, i can't hunt (no green overlay from 3dmigoto)...any ideas?

The game won't even start for me anymore, with or without 3Dmigoto :-( Might be drivers, I need to check. I worked out when the game released how to fix the haloing stuff (there are two different approaches, so not the usual 'bog standard'), but there is some odd 2D shadow/light that we could not track down a shader for. Since the game was bust anyway, the fix was put on ice, but if this patch works and I can launch the game, I'll have another look.

@DHR: In order to load 3Dmigoto on this game, I needed to make a preloader, because the game loads the d3d11 too late for us to get proper hooks.
We are using the file:
http://sg.bo3b.net/bak/D3DCompiler_46.dll
and
http://sg.bo3b.net/bak/d3dcompiler_46_org.dll
Drop both of those into the game directory, and you should be able to hunt and dump shaders like normal. If you set the export_hlsl=2,3, you will see it dump some 35,000 shaders, so it takes awhile. (about 1000 shaders/minute are dumped.)
@Mike: check on the proper d3dcompiler_46, as we replaced the real version with our loader version. I don't think the uninstall.bat will work properly here and probably killed left that file. Might be fixed if you verify game files.

Batman Arkham Knight running well in compatability mode but does not support 2D or 3D nvidia surround due to bugged rain effects in 2d/CM 3d. I am getting 45-60 fps with dual 980 ti's in 5760x1080 on high settings. I found a working mod that disables rain at some fps cost:

Anyone have any idea on how to fix the rain effects rather than disable them?
I have read the latest patch does not support sli however on MSI Afterburner I can see gpu usage in the 80's and 90's on both gpu's with the latest 355.82 drivers using Helifax surround sli method connecting all 3 monitors to one gpu. Can anyone confirm if I am getting true sli useage?

Pretty sure we don't have any way of fixing effects in compatibility mode.
You can tell if you're getting SLI usage by watching your framerate with SLI on, then with it off. See if there's a difference.

I don't have surround, but I wonder if better performance when connecting all three monitors to a single GPU, is some kind of bug that's related to Nvidia's "Central Display Acceleration" introduced with the GTX 680
Central Display Acceleration
Unfortunately, some games do not support Surround resolutions, and so run only on the center screen. On SLI systems, this results in a noticeable performance loss, forcing users to competely disable Surround if playing a non-Surround game, such as StarCraft II, lest their performance plummet. With the release of the GTX 680 this annoyance has now been resolved, as our updated software allows userss to run any game on the center screen at full speed, with the provision that the center screen is connected to the GPU powering two monitors.

Thank for the replies which both make perfect sense. I will report the surround rain bug to WB Games. If they at least fix the rain issue then CM 3d surround would, in my opinion, be worth playing. With the night time game setting, adjusting convergence and using the depth hack (optional) I personally don't find the haloing in CM noticable.
By the way, 2-way 980 ti's, gives stunning performance in 3d surround. I am getting 60 fps buttery smooth in MGSVTPP, Mad Max, Battlefield Hardline, Witcher 3 (CM only), Dyling light, all on at least high, if not maximal settings. I elected to play Witcher 3 in compatability mode because I got constant 60fps compared to with the helixmod/flugan fix. Also I think compatability mode runs much better in 3d surround rather than single screen, for some reason. I know that nvidia's driver release notes say that compatability mode is not supported in surround but that is not true in practice.

I don't think the devs can fix CM mode problems either, and I reeeeeally doubt they care. They only just got the game functional (and are still working on major bugs), so 3D surround CM issues will be at the very bottom of the list.

Can't really argue that it's sort of bad times for 3D, but that's because driver instability, not Unreal 3. We actually have a really solid toolkit for UE3, as evidenced by the number of games that eqzitara fixed. Helix has his auto-fix LUA script for UE3, and it had native 3D support, so pretty much anything with that engine can be fixed.
Batman does not use UE3 and of course is quite a lot harder as it's a unique engine we've never seen before. Anytime we get a new engine, it's going to take time to figure out how to fix it, assuming we can.

It's UE3 with UE4 elements shoehorned into it that they wanted for it graphics wise but the commercial version of UE4 was not available for release but RS was able to wrangle an arrangement. Epic said yes cause who doesn't want the best Arkham game possible, apart from WBIE?
