About a month ago TERA went Free-to-Play in US. I thought you guys might be interested in it. The game looks georgeous on max settings, with SweetFX and especially in 3D. But 3D currently brings some issues.
1. Shadows are broken. You can turn them off and it helps alot.
2. Some water sources render at wrong depth.
3. UI is 2D, so are crosshair and combat scroll digits.
4. Sometimes name tags look bad, but you can turn them off.
Im pretty sure everything except #3 can be fixed, if Helix team looks into it. I thought crosshair was crucial for this MMO since it features non target combat. But playing with my warrior proved that you dont need crosshair at all (at least on melee classes). Im usually travelling with UI turned off, switching it back during fights.
Ive uploaded few 3D pictures to my gallery: http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/mindw0rk/
And this is a small video how TERA looks in motion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xW4mRUzFfBk

Just downloaded this and you're right it looks really great in 3D without any mods, and I agree with your 4 points. Especially the crosshair is annoying...wish I could get rid of that but keep the rest of the UI but it looks like that's not possible at the moment unfortunately.

Well at a minimum, if you use the Helix mod, you can find the shader that draws the crosshair and disable it. Anyone can do this part, it's easy. (TERA appears to be DX9, so Helix can likely work there.)
Can you use the NVidia laser sight? Killing the crosshair with Helix, and adding laser would probably make it playable. Good luck.

Oh yeah I totally forgot about re-adding the nvidia crosshair. At some point I'll maybe look into how to do what you say with regards to using the helix mod.
