(Not the crap where people find out 1 day before that if they got the game with a GPU they will not have I dunno what DLC).
Really hard to tell who is to blame here....WB or not (Look at Mordor published by WB which wasn't in this state at all)...
So glad I didn't buy this game ;)) Not even tempted to download it from other sources ;)) So, back to proper games like DA:I and Wicher 3 ;)) (I can deal with driver crashes and such but bad ports... I can't stand)

Yeah. I have a hard time getting upset at the company who "won" the contract. A massive game like this is best optimized by the programmers who know where all the bodies are buried. This is just WB saying, "You know, PC doesn't make as much as the other platforms. Let's outsource the port to the lowest bidder so we can increase our profit margin by a percent or two." The rest of the boardroom stands and applauds Bill's ingenious plan. Bill also gets a hefty bonus check for such impeccable pencil pushing.

Rocksteady are using that excuse as a scapegoat.
"We outsourced the PC version so we'll look into it" does not wash.
rocksteady made the bad decision to outsource it, rocksteady should also have been doing the quality assurance.
Nvidia had a team of gameworks programmers on hand made me chuckle.
All I can think of is Homer Simpson eating donuts, highlighting all the 3D Vision code and pressing delete.
You can't even buy more gfx cards to make the game run better.

I think i am one of those lucky people who didn`t get into troubles yet (running on 353.06). Game didn`t crash for me and 3D in CM is acceptable for me since i got use to it after FC4 and DL. Also my fps ain`t locked to 30 and i didn`t change anything to get that.
Not to mess with all of you returning this game and denying the rest of the content - i just want to point out that this is amazing piece of art. I can`t believe how smooth is the gameplay, all movement and fight is so much better then previously. Whole environment and graphic is another blast for me. Everything is filled with details and got so many great quality textures.
I bet that story and future content will repay for all the sadness from the beginning.

Rocksteady's official response is laughable. It essentially reads like "Wuh?? You guys are having problems? Oh snap! We had no idea.... Uh,... here... we'll look into it!"
- I mean, really Rocksteady? You mean to tell me you just decided to cap the FPS for no good reason, and you had no idea the PC port had issues, and the fact that no PC copies were sent out to the press for reviews was just coincidence? Give me a break. The studio had my respect because of the previous games and support. Not any more.

Hm, I also just played for about 2h and don't really see any issues nor had any with startup. Didn't crash once, but S3D is bad, too many glitches so I turned it off. It really took away from the immersion. I just don't feel so "in there" with the flat 2D compared to the previous games.
I had to turn off the NVidia special effects but my PC is aging so that was kind of expected. Also, in the performance test I went above 30FPS so not sure how the cap manifests.
The graphics settings are kind of limited, I wish I could turn off the motion blur. There are no load screens but there are occasional hickups that seem to be cause by HDD loads even though I'm running from an SSD so I hope they will improve performance.
Hope you guys get your issues resolved soon, cheers.

This is a bit of a shame, yes the port is in a pretty bad state on release, Funnily enough this is a WB published game and MK X also had a very shoddy launch with an outsourced development studio
However, comparing to recent AAA releases under the rough edges there is a fantastic game in there somewhere one of the best I've played in recent memory so far.
Give it a few weeks and hopefully they will have it sorted out. It would be a shame if the final and best game in the series goes without the 3d love the community provides since it seems to development team (and nvidia) has abandoned us.

Wow, just wow. Outsourced. Didn't give them enough time. Just giving the middle finger to PC gaming altogether.
It's crazy sad, because the game itself actually sounds terrific. The reviews on Metacritic and other game sites are universally praising the game.
Guess we'll see if it's worth $20 a year from now. If it's not still total rubbish by then, I'm sure we can take a look at the 3D, I know I'm personally interested. But- please don't be in rush. If it runs this terrible in 2D, it's hard to justify the time. CM is a good stopgap if you just can't wait. Patience, grasshopper.
