Problem with 3D Vision Configuration
Hi, Yesterday, I started my computer, I updated it with the last update of Windows 10 (1803 17134.376) and with the last nvidia driver (416.34). I choosed "fresh/new install" during the installation. Now when I want to enable 3D Vision, the 3D Vision Wizard starts, the screen blinks but it don't appear and it is written "No response" in the task manager, so I am not able to configure it. It always worked before. I give you a picture. Do you have ideas ? Thanks in advance. https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlUjToJ_aOwboEwrYzwMqtl8aE2L

Hi Marco did you try to reinstall your driver with DDU? Often this solves issues introduced when updating Windows 10. In Windows 10 1803 it also seems to be important to change desktop refresh rate to 120 Hz before starting the 3D Vision Setup wizard. When still nothing works you can try to enable 3D via 3D Fix Manager. There you have the option to skip the wizard and force 3D activation.

Thanks for your fast answer. I tried DDU with Windows safe mode and reinstallation of the driver and also with the 120Hz configuration. The setup wizard still refuses to start. With the Fix Manager, I forced the activation and it works. Thank you so much for this trick. Now, is it a problem to skip the configuration and use this method ? Tanks
Now, is it a problem to skip the configuration and use this method ?
No problem at all. I've been skipping the wizard for around two years without any problems.

I use the Everything app and disable Windows Search. Every time I install a new gfx driver, I open Everything, search for "wiz.exe", and find "C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\3D Vision\NVStWiz.exe". Rename the file to NVStWizf.exe, and you'll never see that questionable software again.

Yes, skipping should not be a problem. The only thing more ore less interesting about the setup wizard is the option to configure the IR emitter (pyramid) for LAN / Single / Multi IR environment. However I've included this option in 3D Fix Manager some time ago. So it seems the setup wizard is pretty needless.
