So early impression so far. The image is sharper than I imagined it to be, the depth is as good as I hoped for, however I rather have good depth than to sit closer for more immersion and getting less depth, so I am sitting about 10-11 feet away ( I measured it)using a 100 inch screen https://tinyurl.com/y652vvlh . Now the colors/brightness is something I have not really gotten properly calibrated yet, I am pretty new to it and been just randomly playing with settings, seems a bit difficult to balance the brightness especially , it can be too dark or too bright, or too dim and washed out looking. I had very little problem getting 3d working, except for my earlier post, I could not get it working with TanookiPhoenix's guide. I had to use the uhd40 EDID. I am not sure yet if I prefer to use this projector over my 55 inch 4k3d Tv yet, I do like having 0 ghosting is nice, very little crosstalk that I have seen so far. And the better performance running in 1080p is definately a plus.

Ok , I think I am starting to really like this thing. There was too much ambient light through most of my testing and I changed my brightness and contrast to better settings and it is darker in my living room now. I just tried Ride 2 and it looked really good and felt more immersive. MGS5 looks great too. Still testing more games and settings.

Nvidia has no way of telling what screen size that you are using with a Projector, so they use a default size. You need to adjust accordingly in the registry.

Well now I have ran into some trouble, it must be the projector because I have no problems when switching to my monitor. I noticed this problem with just one game yesterday(ffxiv) the framerate appeared to be really bad when panning the camera, it was nauseating to look at actually. I tried a couple other games, the effect was not noticeable. But now I decided to check my framerate running cs:go , it was solid 60 but getting that really bad low hz look. Not sure what to do, my settings on projector show 1920x1080p 120hz. Last night I was playing ffxiv and simply turned fxaa on and it went away. But I could not replicate the same thing.
Sounds like the display fell out of sync with 3D Vision. If that ever happens you can press the right arrow on your projector remote that acts as a re-sync button. This de-syncing only happens sometimes when the projector is searching for a source. Once the display is synced it will remain that way until it tries to find a new source. Even then, it happens pretty rarely for me. Cheers.

that did not help, Maybe I need to mess around with EDID or retry your method to get it working. I tried playing a game in 2d just using CTR+T during a game , and it was still looked like very low refresh rate. I tried turning 3d off on the projector settings, and the games looked smoother but with a lot of crosstalk/ghosting.
1080 ti
Hmmm. Your card is good. Other than trying to re-sync the display with the remote, I'm not sure what you could do. I've recently been experimenting with modifying the timings of the glasses. Edid overrides have never really been perfect with active displays.

ya I think so , in stereoscopic settings my projector was identified as a crt monitor or something. I just reinstalled EDID. Havnet spent a lot of time on the projector lately, been too busy, I hate work ;(

well now I am playing with the crt showing as the display type with no problems. And Holy Supersampling Batman, everything looks much better when using dsr 4k. Just slightly bummed out that the picture is a little blurry at 1080p resolutions, but I should have expected that.
