http://youtu.be/IkafIBE-NekWhat's the word on Black Flag, is it going to be 3D Vision rdy?
I have started a request thread on the Ubisoft forums, if you want to support it here is the link to the thread http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/780455-Requesting-3D-support-for-Assassin-s-Creed-IV-Black-Flag
Game looks amazing in 2D, if you haven't seen the demo for it head over http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/b75u31/assassin-s-creed-iv--black-flag-caribbean-open-world-demo.
UPDATE: 02/08/214
once Again, it's been some time since this was updated and there has been a change to the current drivers that effects the stereoscopic 3D effectiveness in the game. Starting from Driver version 334.67 a new "power 3D" feature will automatically start for certain games. Assassins Creed :black Flag is one of them. This video Here : http://youtu.be/IkafIBE-Nek will show you what it looks like.
As a side note, it has been strongly voiced here on the forums that the community believes adding an option to turn "Power 3D" off will greatly better the further development of this new feature.
UPDATE:
I figured it was time to do an Update on this thread, considering the game is out.
Current Issues
As of November/23/2013 Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag has issues with it's shadows. As far as I can tell this seems to be the only issue that is stopping 3D gamers from playing the game. When the shadows in a game are not rendering in proper 3D this makes it very hard to ignore and ruins the S3D experience. There are some other very small issues that are easily looked past. The UI and some objective/item markers are at screen depth. Hopefully these issues will be addressed.

Its probably same engine as last one. Would require nvidia to pony up. Production time on game seems kind of low for it not to be [which is insane considering how many consoles its being put on].

In case you haven't noticed, it's not out for months. We have no idea :)
However assuming it's built on an upgraded version of the AC3 engine, it's not going to be pretty. That said, the DX11 patch for Bioshock Infinite could (in theory) be used to fix it. If it gets funded, that is.

After watching that wicked demo video I became anxious and jumped the gun a little on this. I was hoping that someone here might have more information regarding its 3D compatibility.
Looks like I'm going to have to hold tight and pray to the 3D gods for this one.
I'm going to start a thread on Ubisofts forums

If anyone would like to show support for this game to be 3D rdy, I have started a request thread http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/780455-Requesting-3D-support-for-Assassin-s-Creed-IV-Black-Flag.
Well its not even game quality I am worried about. PC requires a lot of testing for a compatibility across many hardware specs.....
They are releasing it on like 6 platforms on same date and Ubisoft + pc games are notorious as far as performance issues especially if "AMD/NVIDIA sponsored"[The more features, the higher the risk]. Id really recommend not to preorder it. Theres no way you can get your money back due to the "ubisoft system." I have 2 x 680's and like 2 of 4 games I have that were developed by ubisoft are unplayable as far as performance.

I've supported your thread men, 3D Vision is the best evolution in video games when it's done well...

Unfortunately the PC port is being handled by the same team who ported AC3 (Ubisoft Kiev) :(
Nah, the AC3 PC port sucked. Couldn't utilise SLI, very poorly optimised (Boston in particular causes problems on many systems that should more than handle it), and more than it's fair share of bugs. Much of this still hasn't been fixed.

Ive heard very wide spread complaints of performance issues.
TBH, I kind of wonder how many people could even run AC 3/4 in 3D with acceptable framerates.
