Avg completion Rate, at 40%
I believe that's based off achievements. There's plenty of games where getting 40% of the achievements would mean you'd completed it (maybe not played multiplayer, or collected all the macguffins). So that's actually not bad, I'd think. Mine's 37%.
Though there are plenty of games without any achievements. Anyway, mine's 26%. Pretty poor. Though it'd be a lot higher if it only counted the games I've actually played, lol. I'm pleased to have 4 "perfect games" though (100% achievements). It would have been 5, but after thinking I almost got the the final achievement in Defense Grid 2, I learnt that I wasn't even close because it has some arbitrary way of registering the achievement that it doesn't correctly explain to the player.

Achievements % per game. Lame. I thought it had factored in playtime. Yet another thing in Steam that has no value at all. I mean geez, DG2, something like 15 'achievements' for finishing the first level. Then DG1, last achievement is to get gold on all 150 rounds. Sorry I brought that up, but thanks for the enlightenment.

Also Steam doesn't track your hours played or achievements if Steam's overlay is disabled. Sometimes you will get the achievements once you enable the overlay, but it depends if the game save file stored them.

My completion rate's virtually zero since I'm more interested in finding yet undiscovered 3D compatible games, although I'm actually quite fussy in that I prefer, in order of preference, first person games and third person games only. If I'm getting near to completion there's always some fan created mod or some damned add-on along with a host of other official downloadable content that can't be resisted. I'm quite sure that I'll finish them all eventually, but I do like variety. It's more about the journey, rather than the destination. My uncompleted list essentially doubles as my own currently installed list. So aesthetically speaking, I might as well separate my games into three categories; exceptional, extremely good and good enough. Exceptional: Alien Rage - Unlimited (using extremely high convergence setting), Inversion, Witcher 2, X-Rebirth, Bulletstorm, Lost Planet 2, King's Bounty Series, Lords of the Fallen, Alien: Isolation Extremely good: Dark Void, Darksiders 2, Avatar, Half-Life 2 Series, Skyrim, Oblivion, Duke Nukem Forever, NHL 07, GTR 2, Race 07 Series, Deep Black: Reloaded, Alien's: Colonial Marines, Pinball FX2, Lunar Flight, Dark Messiah, Starship Troopers, Deep Black: Reloaded, Legendary, Risen 2, Trine 1 & 2, Deadspace Series, Hard Reset, Flight Simulator X, Fuel, Elite: Dangerous, Legend of Grimrock 1 & 2, Far Cry, Lock On, Hunted: The Demon's Forge, Timeshift, Tesla Effect Good Enough: Doom 3 BFG, Star Wars: Republic Commando, Risen 3 (just) That's most of them.
