3D Vision v2 Stopped Working
For some reason my glasses just stopped working today. I've fully charged it and everything. The green LED light indicator on the side is not showing any green and the glasses dont turn on. When i charge my glasses it says its fully charged.

Can you give me more details?

[*]What monitor are you using?
[*]Are you using the built in IR emitter?
[*]What apps aren't working?
[*]Do you see double images on the screen?

Im using the 27" 120hz ASUS VG278H LED 3D Display that i won at GeForce LAN 6.
The IR emitter is working fine, its built in emitter, so it seems since i see the green light on the emitter and also see a steroscopic image (two images) Its jsut the glasses arent turning on. Not with my PS3 or my PC. Maybe something wrong with the new glasses like the battery?

I read an article on where the battery was dead and it was able to be jumpstarted.
http://3dvision-blog.com/3d-vision-glasses-might-have-a-battery-charging-issue/

The problem is, when a battery gets completely drained, an automatic charger will not see it or see it as defective.

The other thing is the mini usb cable connection may be bad, one user mentioned: I suddenly have the issue with the orange light not staying on while charging and they don’t charge. If I only insert the mini USB jack halfway and push it to one side gently the orange light stays on.

But these are 3D Vision glasses version two. Should I try to fix them or RMA them? Mind you I won this 3D kit. so im kind of afraid of opening the glasses.

Well I wanted to point out that as you suggested, it may well be a battery problem and that once they get completely drained they are hard to charge. If left in a complete discharge state for too long, it will ruin the battery. Have you've tried gently wriggling the connector while charging like the one poster mentioned? You do know the glasses will not charge on most computers while turned off or in sleep? You'll need to verify if your computer allows this if you are trying to charge overnight while off/sleep.
Another thing is that 3D is not switching off after some games, so this could possibly be putting an additional drain on your glasses. Of course you'll most likely notice due to the higher brightness when in 3D vs 2D.

You will most likely have to RMA unless Nvidia has a trick you can try. If the charge sensor was not in the glasses themselves you could put a battery in parallel to inititiate a charge into a discharged battery. Here's a video showing what I mean, only with car batteries. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Slqd73ZOQvI&feature=related

stupid question, but did you try unplugging the IR emitter? I had the same problem and thought my glasses were toast.
