The other topic he started in the 1000-series forum points to this old Steam thread: http://steamcommunity.com/app/292030/discussions/0/490125103619142804/ It's just the distant blue on the horizon. It's got nothing to do with 3D Vision at all. I'm guessing BDK had a mod installed when he was using AMD and just forgot about it.

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.

I have questions on Witcher 3 - 1) My Game version seems to be 1.31 - is it ok to use the 1.22 3D fix, i.e. the one called "1.21_3Dm_1.2.42.zip" ? For the 3D fix (found on "Helix") - 2) I cannot find the directory in which I should put the 3D fix - I am on Windows 10 (64 bit) - and the game was installed on GOG (not Steam) - but the only way I can play the game is a shortcut I had pasted on my taskbar. Where should I be looking in my C drive for the directory where the W-3 .exe is?? I have read it should be in a "bin" folder, but cannot find that anywhere... Thanks! EDIT - P.S. In GOG although it shows W-3 as my owned game...when I hover on "More" and then "Manage installation" - the menu shown that includes "Show files" is completely unselectable...odd...so I cannot "find" where on my PC the .exe of the game is located...

This is a one nicest games in 3D The fix is getting over written by GOG Galaxy. Download a program like Revo Uninstaller Here are directions how to uninstall the client GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING Before reporting any issues, try the following: 1) Shut down GOG Galaxy and launch it again, 2) Restart your computer (you'd be surprised;)), 3) Redownload the Galaxy installer, uninstall it, open the installer by right-clicking it and selecting "Run as Administrator", and then install to the default location: C: -> Program Files (x86) -> GalaxyClient. 4) You should also make sure that your security (anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall etc.) software isn't interfering with GOG Galaxy. To do this, make sure that GOG Galaxy is added to the software's trusted applications list (how to do this varies, depending on the security software). If you can not remove the GOG Galaxy contact GOG Tech Support about how to remove the program.

You are a Genius :-) - I did not re-start my PC - but I did navigate to the location you advised GOG's folder would be - and hit the "uninstall" icon - re-started the game...and NO MORE WHITE LEFT EYE in proper 3D !!!! Thanks a ton :-) P.S. I just wish there was some way of making all my 3D games BRIGHTER when playing in 3D...they are all so dark (including Witcher 3...) - even with the in-game "Gamma" turned all the way up on each game.

?? I'm playing with GOG's Galaxy installed just fine. I'm not sure what went on above. Yeah, brightness is forever an issue. Even when 'clear' the glasses absorb some light. This game has pretty bright nights but, if you go into a cave, just take off the glasses and switch off the 3D until you get back out again.

Thanks @ zig11727 for the signature approval - and thanks @ ZlothX for confirming about the brightness issue - one of the worst cases seems to be Tomb Raider 2013....where turning up the brightness in-game makes the colours totally "washed out". I am guessing playing around with NVidia's "Gamma" settings might help with washed-out colours in 3D mode...but it's too much of a chore due to needing different Gamma / Brightness adjustments from one game to another. ======== O/S - Windows 10 Home 64-bit CPU - Intel Core i5 2500 K @ 3.30 GHz (Sandy Bridge 32 nm) RAM - 10 GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24) Motherboard - ASUS P8H67-M LX (LGA 1155) 3D Monitor - ASUS 23-inch VG236H (1920 x 1080 @ 120Hz) Graphics Card - ASUS Strix NVidia GeForce GTX 970 (4 GB Factory-OC edition) Storage - 1 TB Hitachi (HDS721010CLA332A) Optical Drive - LG Blu-Ray R/W (BH10LS30) Sound Card - Realtek 7.1 High Definition Audio

Is there a way to use SweetFX with the 3D vision hack to get some better AA (heard its better than the in-game AA)..? I guess that would mess up the shaders since sweetFX has its shaders and the 3D Vision fix has its own?
