Ill wait till the game goes on sale for cheap.
All the reviews pointed to it as a crappy game
Great game. Shit PC support. HVS has been really boning up the PC release.
Agreed, its an amazing game, and NRS best fighter to date, just a really poor release by high voltage. They posted an update to steam this morning addressing they are working on the issues with NRS though so hopefully most of the problems will be resolved shortly.

Unfortunately even this performance-improving patch should be installed with caution. There are numerous reports alrady saying that this patch completely wipes your savegame which also seems to be the reason why the patch was temporary pulled!

I may be wrong but I always was of the opinion that a patches sole purpose is to improve things that are not working and not to make things worse that are already pretty much broken!?
Here is what this improving patch did to me:
1. When I close the game (back to desktop) the game not really closes. It switches back to desktop but keeps running in the background so you have to manually close it via the task manager.
2. 3D Vision Surround is not longer working because the patch broke the Flawless Widescreen Fix.
GREAT!

I get very low FPS only in some stages when using 3D Vision, why can this be happening? i have a 3930k at 4.7 and GTX 780 SLI. when i use only one video card it happens the same way
Just a quick info:
Today Flawless Widescreen Fixer got an update for Mortal Kombat X so the game is playable in Surround again!
Is that = 3D vision or what does "Surround" mean ? I tried to read FW homepage but i dont understand if its just for widescreen or ?
Flawless Widescreen has nothing to do with 3D vision in particular. It just adds multi-monitor capability to a game that doesn't support multi-monitor gaming by default. So if you are a 3D Vision Surround user and you want to play a game in 3D Vision Surround a given game that you want to play not only needs to be playable in 3D but also needs to support multi-monitor gaming.
Unfortunately the fix that is provided by Flawless Widescreen Fix is often broken by the patches that are released for a specific game.

Major bump with some good news for MK fans. I've just completed a very comprehensive fix for Mortal Kombat X. It was quite decent out of the box, but there were definitely some jarring halos on a lot of the effects in the stages & during some of the fatalities, and I personally wanted to be able to enjoy them in full 3D glory. This fix brings the game pretty much into 3D Ready status, and now everyone can enjoy the bloody carnage without making their eyes bleed!
Fixed:
-Nearly all effects in every stage
-Fixed all effects in every character's fatalities (except Goro, didn't get him with the premium edition)
-Some character special effects effects
Unfixed:
-Floor reflections
-Shadows & Ambient Occlusion
-Some effects related to special moves/X-rays (haven't actually played the game much to know which effects are broken)
-Anything related to story mode, crypt, or any game modes (again, haven't actually gotten to play the game yet outside of practice mode)
Bonus:
-Press the \ key to toggle HUD/Pause menu/FATALITY text off and on for taking screenshots
Instructions:
1) Extract files to location where MK10.exe is located
2) In Options - PC Video - Advanced Settings, set Shadows and Abmbient Occlusion to OFF
3) Set separation and convergence to taste
4) FINISH HIM!!!
Optional SLI fix: Use DX1x compatability bits: 0x084000F5 (Tomb Raider (2013), Apollo 11 Demo)
I may or may not proceed to fix shadows down the road (if I can learn how to do it). Feel free to report any broken effects that I've missed, particularly anything extremely jarring, and I may be inclined to fix them.

P.S. It would be great if this could get posted up on the Helix blog.
P.P.S. The reason I just got this game is because I found it dirt cheap on www.cdkeys.com, if anyone is looking to pick this up as well

Good Job Man!
Although ultimately the abysmal online play pushed me away from this title. I'll check it out again now it has full 3d support.
I just saw no shadows, oh well....
I'd send Eqzitara or Bo3b a pm and ask for access to the helix site for upload.
