Last night my wife's Samsung 22" 3d LCD gave up the ghost.
Back light burnt out on it.. Came into the room and the screen was black..
Cycling the power the monitor would come on for a few seconds, show the desktop, then go black.
(with the blue power light still on)
Tried another monitor on the machine, it worked just fine.
This morning the 22" Samsung wouldn't even show a picture, it powered on but just remained black.
Fortunately I had the product service plan, and I took it back to the store where it was purchased, and after
being a little bit of a dick (they wanted to test it for a few days and get back to me) I walked out of the
store with a brand new replacement.
Oddly enough, I feel the picture quality is a little better on this model, it has a sharper and cleaner look to it.
Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else has had bad luck with this monitor, or am I one of the first ?
