I just tried it with 3D Vision on and recorded some GTAV gameplay using Alt+Z.
Then opened the video file in 3D Vision Player and put it on Side by Side Left Image first.
Boom!Smooth 1440p 3D Vision gameplay recording!

Cool,
by the way, since we are talking about 3D Vision video.
Can someone upload VERY good videos quality in 1080p and 4K please?
I just get a new OLED TV 55C6V but don't have the computer to enjoy games on it.
I really want to check how it will render in 1080p and 4K 3D.
Any hope someone upload those big videos please?
Which 1080p? The one that has two 1080 screens side by side or the ones like Shadowplay makes where it crams both screens into 1080 pixels?
The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.
Is it possible to get full 1080p ones?
And / or full 4K one?
I really want to try even if it's only half resolution with the Top & Bottom 3DMigoto feature.
Yes, but some games have "native" support, like Rise of the Tomb Raider or i'm wrong?
I see you have an OLED LG TV like me, i really want to test the result of 3D on PC games in such screens.

I haven't got many that are really 1920x2 by 1080 but here's one from Fallout 3 New Vegas:

(Gotta record those with FRAPS so they take up a ton of space very quickly when recording - both are 30frames/sec)

I just tried it too. NOT working in 4K. Wrong video in 3D Vision Player, without stereo effect. Screenshots are correct in stereo, but videos - wrong. 3.11.0.73 version GeForce Experience

Thank you for the videos ;)
The Apartment is nice, the video take all the screen and quality is good.
You made a mistake in the link about Tomb Raider Legend (same as Final Fantasy X).
Can you do one in any of those games:
Alan Wake
The Witcher 3
Watch Dogs 2
Quantum Break
The last Tomb Raider
Assassin's Creed Black Flag
Battlefield 1
Titan Fall 2
Ryse
Hitman
Inside
Trine 3
Lords of the Fallen
Metro
Outlast 2
Abzu
The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
Unravel
Wolfenstein
Or any recent triple AAA will be cool to see in action.
Thank you very much again for sharing this.
Really curious about a try in 4K with half or full 3D.

Has anyone worked out how to play a game in 3dvision but only have it record in 2d. My problem has always been the opposite. You try share the video then no one can see it properly in 2d mode cause they all use phones these days. =(

Dead or Alive is AAA! Well, AAA'ish... on console. They got pretty cheap on the PC version. The scale of it makes for great 3D, though.
Fixed the Postcard video from Tomb Raider: Legends.
I tried to upload one from the latest Tomb Raider but Google Drive is fighting it. I'll try again tomorrow.

Nope. Even if I disable 3D Vision it *still* records in 3D. I have to reboot with 3D Vision disabled to record in 2D.
YouTube will let you mark a video as 3D but they've made it a pain in the tail. If you follow the steps, though, I think people without 3D will be able to view just one side same as in 3D Vision Live.

Yes, this is the case but it doesn't work on mobile phones. All phones I have seen try to run it in that awful "card" mode and it goes a horrible red, green. With no option to disable.
Worse I see in the options tube states that the 3D options are about to be depreciated.
