Most games work fine but I don't know why but some games don't work. For example, star craft 2, metro 2033, batmen etc work just fine but games like dirt 3 and battlefield 3 don't work. Dirt 3 used to work but I don't know when but from some point, it doesn't work anymore. When I start battlefield 3 or dirt 3, game starts out at half fps. For example, when 3d off, it's 60fps instead of usual 120fps and when 3d is on, it goes down 30fps instead of 60fps and 3d vision glass don't turn on. It doesn't matter what drivers I use(tried from 285.62 to lastest beta) and it just don't work. I am using i7 2600k + gtx 580 sli. If all other games don't work in 3d, I would say there's something wrong with my 3d vision but all games works fine except battlefield 3 and dirt 3. Is there any solution to this? I am using lastest patch on games too. :(

I am at work so I cant say EXACTLY but go to the control panel.
Go tou your 3D settings and you should see somewhere with a box that is checked. It says something like HIDE the 3D effects. Make sure that box is checked and play your games again.
This time when you started the game manually turn 3D on via default option CTRL+T

I tried it long ago already and it didn't work. I tried just now again and it still doesn't work. These two games just starts at half frame rate regardless what setting I use. It's like the game is detecting my monitor as 60hz not 120hz and 3d vision glass don't go dark either.

I had similar issues with a few games, not those specific ones, and switching to window mode then back to fullscreen sometimes did the trick. I'm sure someone else can help with those specific games though.
p.s. if your the Shinobier who did those NG/NG2 videos back in the day, you're awesome!

It is not easy to suggest anything when the games you mention are supposed to work and previously did work.
I'm running a single GTX 580 and is curious if SLI could possible cause any problems.
Another thing is custom profiles in the registry but as far as I have read they are all wiped clean when installing a new driver so there are none of these.
Just checked my Dirt 3 configuration:
Even though hide Stereoscopic 3D effects when game starts is check in Nvidia control panel the game activates 3D instantly.
Sometimes the graphics settings matter but mine is set to 1920x1080 at 59hz with Vsync off
I went to windowed mode and quit the game.
Next time I loaded it it wouldn't go into 3D mode automatically but just required me to press the green button to enable 3D.
Probably not very helpful as my game already work in 3D and yours for some unknown reason don't.

I tried to disable sli too but it didn't work either. I don't know what's causing this. I tried reinstalling game, driver etc and vsync on and off, but none of that work. Now, these two games are unplayable for me other than playing it at non-3d 60fps. :(

I think I had this problem with both dirt 3 and hard reset. I'd been messing about with drivers and multiple displays and whilst other games were fine, these two weren't.
I fixed it my reinstalling my monitor driver (edid file), rebooting and running the 3d vision setup wizard again. It's like some games just don't see all the refresh rates available to windows.
