Proposal Idea: How to use 3D Vision with Cable/Sat STB's 3D Broadcasts
Ok, here is the idea:
Bell TV in Canada is broadcasting the masters in 3D. I have an Acer H5360 projector that will accept the signal I believe (assumption, have not tried).
But the trick is, how do I use my Nvidia glasses with the STB and Projector?
Answer perhaps; Use the PC to generate the sync signal, to watch the Satellite broadcast. I use a HTPC
I think perhaps, if I could have a signal generator send the sync signal to the glasses using my PC, I can match it with the signal being put out by the projector to get 3D from the Satellite signal.
This would be worlds better than the streaming system they have running, as that is not really HD and is very blocky.
So, is it possible? Can I use the PC to sync the glasses so as to be able to see the 3D signal on the projector? Or am i smoking crack?

Screw it, won;t work. The Bell TV broadcast is a side by side transmission. What system is that for?
I guess I'd need to convert it to Nvidia format.
I think there is a market for a generic converter box to take standard 3D in, and output anything you want.

You need a 3d tv for that to work. the tv takes the side by side and turns it into the correct format.
120hz monitors/projectors are dumb, they don't know if the image they are recieving is 3d or not they just display it.. the nvidia software talkes to the glasses to tell it to flip left or right.
