Problem with 3D Vision, GeForce GTS 450, Benq W700
Hello,
I tried to use the 3D Vision Glasses in combination with my GeForce GTS 450 and the BenQ W700.
But every time I start the Setup-Assistent the beamer shows a black screen.
Sometimes the wizard appears, but then are horizontal red stripes on the picture.
What could be the problem?

If the projector is showing a black screen, that usually indicates the resolution and timing are out of range.
The W700 is supported at 1280x720@120Hz, are you trying something different?
I've only heard of that horizontal red stripes once, it was caused by a registry error due to the guy trying to edit/hack the Nvidia Drivers.
Are you connecting via VGA or HDMI? Straight to the projector or is there a receceiver in the chain?
Do you have another cable that you could try?
the resolutions are normally 1280x720@60Hz, but when I start the setup it is 1280x720@119Hz.
I havn't edited the registry, i also reinstalled the drivers...
the connection is via a mini HDMI cable to a switch, then a 10m cable to a hdmi repeater and then with a 10m cable to the projector. Do you think this is the problem?

It would be hard to say. In theory, they are designed to work.
The only way to know is by eliminating them.
I assume when you said red stripes, they were thick bars hiding the Nvidia on sceen wizard questions?
Or were they more like streaks? If streaks, my guess would be a bad cable or your GPU is artifacting.
If you have 2 Displays connected, unplug the 2nd one until you ran the wizard and completed the setup.
I found the problem :D
The HDMI repeater has 8 options to boost the signal...
through testing the options I found the solution :)
but the pictures are flickering... how can i solve this?
If it's flickering, my assumption is that the refresh or frame rate is too low.
Make sure it at 120Hz and not 60.
It may be the card itself, when using 3D your frame drops in half. The 450 isn't very powerful.
So maybe try lowering your in game settings.
now i found also the soloution for this... in the setup you can choose if you use only 1 computer with 3D vision (recommended), one or more gaming pcs with 3D vision and other ir-equipment OR some gaming pcs with 3D vision in a lan network...
I firstly used the 2. option, then i changed to the first and my problem was solved :)
thx for your help. and sorry for my bad english ;)
