I'm wondering whether to invest in 3d-vision, i don't mind spending the money and i used to use a3d back in the day so i'm used to having to hack around to get things to work and imperfect results.
how is 3d vision with overwatch?
cheers guys :)

Because it's online only I don't think anyone's bothered to look at it. I played it for a bit a while ago, it's perfectly playable by default in compatibility mode that although is not great, it's still way better than 2D

Thanks for the reply. Are people here only interested in single player games?
I guess at this point it's probably a dead technology but I love these kinds of things.
A lot more single player games get community fixes than multiplayer. The main reason is that current multiplayer games are constantly being updated and each update will likely break any community 3d fixes. Community fixes take a lot of time to do and each update usually requires a modification of the fix. In some cases the game developer is against mods of any type to prevent hacking (see Player Unknown BattleGrounds).
If you don't already know about it, http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html has hundreds of community 3d fixes that are most always better than official support.

In my case it's just that I almost don't play multiplayer games at all. Another reason for other people (and me) could be that you can't just sit relaxed in a fixed position trying to hunt/fix an effect without getting shot or yelled by other players. Unless they are bots, but they'll still kill you :p. With the death of custom servers in games the last few years, we can't have a "3D fixers server. Don't shoot unless necessary!" server, lol.

As much as I love 3D, for PvP FPS games id rather have more frames. The only competitive multiplayer game in 3D where it actually improved my ability to play was Rocket League (and new maps typically would not work with the previous fixes).

Probably very true for fps games where FPS is king, however regardless at this point I always play better in 3d as my eyes are so used to seeing depth I feel blind otherwise.
If you play fighting games especially true 3d ones like Tekken 7, I am convinced it almost gives you an advantage, because you can physically see the depth of moves for wiff punishment and spacing and they are always locked at 60 anyway
