Nope, the sky still renders at the wrong depth. I've been playing LotRO for long time with 3D Vision though, and I think it looks really, really good. Follow the profile instructions and it looks very nice. The sky is disconcerting if you look at it, but I find that most of the time my perspective is looking down at an angle at my toon.

Did someone try the game with the new beta drivers?

The 280.19 drivers makes DCS-A10C image shaking...(not in 3Dvision because I use a two monitor configuration with DCS A10C)
Too bad because they solve the "out of memory" error in 3DVision in "rise of flight".

Yup. IR emitters on/off button and depth controller doesnt work. I first thought it went broken cause my computer didnt even reboot(halt on "detecting USB devices") when IR emitter was connected. However keyboard shortcuts like ctrl+t(3D on/off) still works, so no real damage here.

Not alone. You can still use shortcut keys like CTRL+T to turn 3DVision off/on. Other shortcut keys you find in 3D Stereosettings.
All of your issues are related to SLI with Super Street Fighter IV - this is a known issue. Please try the game in single GPU and it will work fine. We will fix those issues in future drivers.

Hi
No this isnt what it means. The rendering is done by Crysis 2. We updated the rating since there were some changes to the game engine to improve 3D.

Using previous drivers I was always able to turn off my 30" dell monitor using the checkbox in the "Set up multiple displays" dialog of Nvidia Control panel, so that I could use my 24" acer in 3DVision mode to play games.
After installing 208.19 driver unchecking the Dell Digital Display in the dialog box causes both screens to blank but then driver reappears with Dell Digital Display checked again. I can't turn only it off. (I can turn only the Acer off. Tried switching cables to monitors on first graphics card, mnade no difference.

Hi Andrew,
I've just checked again with SLI disabled and it made no difference at all, I still get all the following anomalies:
Smoke & Dust
For some actions, only those parts of the smoke or dust which would have been visible from a monoscopic viewpoint are rendered, so when viewing smoke behind a fighter in 3D, each eye sees an area immediately to the left or right of the character where the smoke should be visible but isn't.
Example 02 (The area around Ryu's right leg has missing smoke)
Example 03 (The area around Fei Long's right leg has missing smoke)
HUD clashes in cutscenes
In some cutscenes, the fighter model clashes with the HUD, either by occluding it despite being rendered behind it, or by not occluding it despite being rendered in front of it. Some of these problems have been fixed in 280.19 by the game dynamically changing the convergence during cutscenes but there are some instances where the convergence change doesn't happen at the same time as a change of camera so the entire scene visibly "pops" backwards e.g. during both Rose's and Viper's victory scenes.
Example 04 (The "ROSE WINS" text and the combo bars clash with the model)
Example 05 (All the HUD elements clash with the model and effects)
Example 06 (The "BALROG WINS" text and the combo bars clash with the model's gloves and arms)
The same issue also occurs when a player jumps and partially obscures the health bars (which could be fixed by having the health bars occlude the fighters when they overlap during a fight). As for the cutscenes, most of them could be fixed by simply moving the camera slightly further away from the action at the point where the problem occurs or dynamically adjusting the convergence. This would make a real difference to the game because when the cutscenes don't clash with the HUD they look fantastic.
Engine heat haze
On the airstrip level, the heat haze generated by the plane's engine doesn't render correctly in 3D.
Example 10 (The white bit at the rear of the engine isn't rendered properly)
Example 11 (Rose's head appears doubled where it overlaps the engine's haze)
Water reflections
Whereas with the previous 275.50 drivers the water reflections sometimes looked okay and sometimes didn't, with 280.19 they always seem to be offset from the object they're reflecting. This is probably the most distracting of the remaining issues.
Example 12 (All reflections are incorrect in this shot but the most noticeable ones are of the 2 small islands in the sun and the slightly larger island to the left. If you shut your left eye the reflections are offset to the left, and vice versa).
Example 13 (Here's the same scene with 275.50 drivers and the reflections appear okay).
All in all, 6 of the 22 background scenes (i.e. over a quarter) have some kind of anomaly so imo there are still a lot of further improvements required before this game can justifiably be labelled "3D Vision Ready".
Cheers,
DD

i used a pretty old driver before, because all the new versions caused a crazy flickering of the right-eye-glass.
I tried out this very new beta driver and faced the same issue again, but this time i solved it (was a usb problem of my computer).
So i tested Battlefield Bad Company 2 in 3D and i saw awesome improvements as the ghosting is reduced by ~80% !
But now i have to note again, that i used a pretty old version before, so i dont know if this improvement really comes from this very new beta driver or a version before.
But i also have a new problem now:
I have a really crazy screen flickering in 2D mode in BFBC2 now! Its impossible to play in 2D now :( I have not tested other shootergames yet, but i will do later on.
Cheers!
ps.: If anyone has an idea how to get rid of the 2D-screen-flickering, please let me know :)

I cant change the 3D effect too (with the wheel)

Wow... Does this mean that we finally get true driver stereo (two views, with adjustable depth) in Crysis 2, instead of the PPSSS (post-processing sad stereo simulation) that might well be enough for consoles, but just doesn't cut it on the PC?
Did someone try the game with the new beta drivers?
Keeping my fingers crossed... I would gladly replay the game from start to finish, but only in true NVIDIA stereo mode

Hi
No this isnt what it means. The rendering is done by Crysis 2. We updated the rating since there were some changes to the game engine to improve 3D.

Andrew.
This driver seems to break the ability to turn off one monitor (dell 30" 2560x1600) in order to be able to use only second monitor (Acer23" 3D) in the control panel.

I dont quite understand your feature that is broken. What was working?

Cheers!
ps.: If anyone has an idea how to get rid of the 2D-screen-flickering, please let me know :)
pps.: My system: i920, 6gb RAM, GTX 280 AMP!, NVIDIA 3D Vision glasses, LG Flatron W2363D monitor.
