Well, it got me to the next stage, it installed the drivers, got past the 'now plug in the IR transmitter'
then it fails to detect the 3d monitor,

The projector will happily switch into 3D mode, and it says its running at 1152x900 @ 120hz,
when i Click the re-discover button with either CRT or the DLP box highlights it simply says Compatible monitor not found.
Looks like I'm stuck at the same point as you :(

Tried all the old driver releases (takes some time installing/uninstalling downloading 280+mb data per release (only got 2mb internet :( ))
but no avail..

so no my Nvidia Glasses dont work either... Guess its not quite ready for the mass market

Derek,

Aye, you got stuck with the same issue I had. sorry that driver isn't right.

Here use this one instead:http://www.mediafire.com/?fyj1wnmwmy0
If that doesn't work then pull out the pins on your dvi-vga adapter as here:

Good luck

Hey guys,

We, being your forum mods/admins, haven't forgotten about you. But we're a little swamped with working out some improvements and changes to improve the user experience here. The planned upgrades and updates is expected to take several weeks. Until we can complete these upgrades, I'm afraid we simply don't have much time to keep this thread updated and going. Fear not, it's not going anywhere. Just understand it's going to be a while before it gets updated from our end of things.

We thank you for your patience and understanding. Keep in mind that we all have day jobs, we aren't paid for our time here. This is a labor of love for us. :)

As for the 3D Vision issues, keep an eye out for those 256 drivers! NVIDIA is working, full-tilt, on improving 3D Vision. It's a technology they really believe in, and are really excited about. If you've got some issues, give the 256 drivers a whorl when they're out and see whats been changed and improved.

Umm, ok, but the whole point here was to have regular communications with Nvidia and it never happened, except one time where some of the initial questions were addressed. It isn't like we had a good back and forth for a few months and then it quit when you got busy. There's always going to be something going on, or people leaving, etc. We aren't the ones that made this whole idea up. It was Andrew Fear that came up with this idea, and now it seems like a sick joke because we are back to "this isn't our day job".

Fear not, indeed.

Agreed not ONE round of discussions happened, while I do love my 3D vision its a lost love. All I can say is that with the 3D hype going on now someone is going to do it right SOON and I hope its Nvidia.

Andrew helped and put a small beta team together and that even died. I even participated in a 2 hour long survey to help improve the product. I know this is not your paying jobs but the it gave light at the end of the tunnel which is now dead.

Its like and episode of lost! We do appreciate the post but I hope the new forums will have a new feature like bug reports built right but that wont happen as Nvidia doesn't sell anything to the public besides 3D glasses. They would leave all bug reports and customer service to THEIR clients evga,etc...

Why is Nvidia advertising 3DTV Play with gaming? 1080p24 makes most games almost unplayable and 720p looks like crap with 50" TVs. Now ofcourse you can always sit further away from the TV so 720p looks just fine, but that is not really an option when using 3D.

KJD, i hope antialiasing will compensate the low resolution.
my question is when nvidia is going to release 3dTV play?! sometimes in summer? than why announce in in march? that is insulting. people are waiting
Hello,
I haven't been able to get 3d vision working with my new 3d-ready Viewsonic PJD6531w projector yet.

The projector is never detected as 3d-ready in the stereoscopic setup wizard. This is because whenever the wizard starts, it changes the resolution from the one I have selected to 1280x800 @59hz.
As far as I know, 3d should work at the projector resolution 1024x768 @120hz, but even though it is in that resolution when I start the wizard, the wizard forces the native 1280x800 resolution and therefore reports no 3d ready display found.

Using CD1.23

I have tested this on a gtx275 with windows 7 64bit and a dual core e8600, as well as w7x64 on an e8500 with a gts240, in both cases no change between hdmi and vga.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Thankyou
I am having the SAME issue. I just bought this thing TODAY because it was on the list on NVIDIA's site as a 3d ready projector. Well shoot....what's the deal here? ANy new info? What do i do to get mine to work in 3d? Can i use hdmi cables or?

3D VISION SURROUND!?!?!? This so-called 256 driver is missing its main functionality and I have not heard one official comment on the matter. You would think since it was put on the video card boxes and on the website, the least nVidia could do was give us a date of release. Now I see the 3d Surround page is being buried on the site /pirate.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':pirate:' />. These blank monitors keep me wondering what the deal is.

Looks like they got a new page "Summer Promotions" with the 3d Surround Coming Soon teaser! I really can't wait for this. It is the next level of gaming IMO. 3d vision alone is a pretty awesome thing. C0ckpit view while flying or driving gives a whole new feel of gaming. Combined with the power of GTX 480s in SLI it is just sick. I really can't wait to see it stretched across three of these crispy alienware monitors. Dirt 2 tweaks would be sweet too. It is rated as a poor 3d game, but I have had great luck with it.

K-Lite Codec Pack Mega v. 6.20
На обычных проигрывателях воспроизводится вертикальная стереопара в отличном качестве...
Подскажите, что делать??? Заранее благодарен.
P.S. Если возможно ответ напишите на русском языке.
