Problem with bad letters an bad graphics in 3D Mode (Windows Screen)
I have a verry strange Problem with my 3D Vision : When I activate the 3 D Mode the Windows screens turn and show bad grphics and letters so that i can't read the icons for example. It semms that 30-50% of the graphics are still missing. I have the same Problem with all drivers i used. Sytem: - Win 7 64bit - MB: Asus P5Q - GK: Asus NVidia GTX560 DirectCU - Driver: 310.70

Hmmm, how about mentioning the Display you are using? Or what type of connection? HDMI? I'll bet that you are using a Passive Display. Are you using some type of 2D-3D conversion? When you say icons, are you refering to problems on your desktop?

I use a LG display with HD resolution and HDMI connection. What do you mean with passive Display? Every letters aren't ok. The letters on the Desktop, the letters in Games -everywhere! Then i stop the 3D Mode the graphic changes and everything ist ok!

Sorry. The last post has an mistake. The connection of the display is via DVI - not HDMI! The HDMI connection dosn't support 120 Hz Framerate.

Yah well DVI does not support 1920x1080@120Hz either, only Dual Link DVI-D does. I'll just assume you are using an LG passive monitor then, since you still did not provide a model# and the only Dual Link DVI-D monitor that LG ever made hasn't been sold for several years.

Ok, that's the 3D Vision 120Hz supported monitor from LG that has since been discontinued. So, I assume this is your first time using it? I assume you bought it used? Based on my assumptions, I would assume it could be one of two things. 1. you are using a DVI-D cable and not a Dual Link DVI-D cable http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface 2. some video cards have two DVI-D DL outputs, some only have one and some have none. So if you are connected to a non DVI-D Dual Link output, there's your problem. Or my assumptions could be way off base and you have been using it successfully for months and this is a new problem that has recently materialized. You really do need to improve on giving details. Such as is this your first time using it and trying to get 3D working?

I bought the display a few years ago. Same time with the graphic card and the 3D Vision. The 3D Mode is working fine! That is not my problem. In 3D Mode the graphic ( I think exept the directx ones) look bad! In that case I can't read the letters for example. I didn't use the 3D Vision for a long time cause of that problem.

I had a little time to test, when exactly the graphics became bad. It happens, when I change the framerate into a higher than 60Hz. At 60Hz everything is allright. At any higher framerate (100hz, 110Hz and 120 Hz) the Windows Graphics on the Display became very bad. There are many colored shadows and it seems toll be a smaler resoulution. Everything Looks verry "dirty"! If I change the framerate back to 60Hz erverything ist ok...

I got it! The Dual Link realy has been the problem! I read at wikipedia, how it works. And I realised, that I used a wrong cable with no dual link support. I changed the cable and everything was all right. Thank you for your support D-Man11
