Left for Dead 3D, help
I'm getting good 3D performance in Left 4 Dead, but I'm experiencing random crashes.
Also, is there a way to save in this game? I'm through the first building and out on the street, but no checkpoint saves so if I leave the game I have to start from the beginning.

Thanks for the info. I thought that checkpoint saving is as lame as it gets with shooter games, looks like I was wrong. so it doesn't matter if it crashes or not, I won't be playing it. Saving in left 4 dead 2?

You can skip to any chapter in a campaign by creating a lobby.

Left4dead isn't like your typical shooter. It's primarily made for replayability. Each campaign lasts about an hour or two, and all zombies, items and weapons spawn differently with each playthrough. Lots of fun if you play online co-op /biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

play campaign > play with friends > create new campaign lobby
Once in lobby > edit game settings > change chapter

If you set permissions to public, you can have anyone join at anytime.

L4D2 isn't about saving. It's about surviving. It would actually be rather silly to be able to save in games like those. I really love those games and it really has almost infinite replay value. Especially if you go here.

TONS AND TONS of user created maps! Grab some friends, all download a few, and play! Some are just single levels, and some are actually entire campaigns, some rivaling the quality of valves!
