If they get this working with Nvidia 3D vision it will be my projector of choice for a 3D surround setup. I like the extra throw distance compared to most 3D vision ready projectors.

Considering this has no bulb but a LED lightsource, can these be flipped to the side for portrait setups without "voiding the warranty"?

Absolutely! Also uniformity should be excellent for blending. *cough cough*
