I've got my thinkpad 420s with the NVS 4200M/Intel Integrated graphics. I've successfully loaded my IR transmitter for the glasses and the 3d set up wizard comes up. I am using only my Acer 120 hz monitor for the system and have set Optimus to use Nvidia for everything. Unfortunately when the 3d set up wizard tries to switch to stereo display mode I get an ugly red message on the screen about attempting to run stereo in a non-stereo resolution.
So my question - should I be able to successfully get stereo out to an external monitor (DVI by the way) from an NVS 4200M and am doing something wrong - or is this not currently supported?

All:
I got the active displayport to dual link DVI adapter and connected it. What I got was promising but not perfect - looking for help.
I specifically had a hard time getting the monitor working at 120hz (it worked @1920x1080x110hz). I have similar performance issues with my 260 but running from my 570 the monitor works flawlessly.
What I got on my display was alot of red horizontal lines jumping all over the screen - anyone offer a clue as to how/why I'm getting these?
I'm wondering if there are any suggestions about optimizing the output from the NVS 4200m for stereo.
