the only issue i have is that when i switch back to desktop from a 3D vision enabled game, the screen keeps it 100% Brightness, although i set it to 10% when on 2D desktop at 1080p with 120 Hz. i usually have than to alter to 100Hz and than back to 120 Hz to get rid of the 100% brightness (which is fixed when the display is connected via DVI and a 3D signal is received from the display)
any ideas? drivers and software is all up to date
Ha! Finally I find someone else who noticed this problem which I made a dedicated thread about.
Though in my case this issue only occurs with some games (repeatable). So I believe it must have to do with Nvidia drivers or it's 3D-Vision Controller rather than with the Acer Monitor itself.
But then I'd expect other people should experience the same problem (with some games..). Just nobody seems to do other than MaxMax, who propably left the forums forever out of frustration that nobody answered to his question (quoted above) ... /smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Just been using the superman mod on Just Cause 2 on my new Acer 27"er, and it is extremely good. Almost no ghosting, big screen.
I just tried the Samsung SA950 27"er, and it is not at all comparable to the Acer. While the Samsungs colour is definitely richer, and the styling is really cool, the ghosting is very bad when used in conjunction with 3D Vision. (It is not a 3d vision supported product but -can- do it).
Very good product. Very clear, almost no ghosting whatsoever, fairly low cost, and handy that it has a built in emitter, and glasses included with it.

Height is not adjustable but tilt is. Not sure what you are on about, its just stiff.

Hi, I just bought the acer 27" display and I have the same problem. After exiting 3D appliaction the display stays with 3D mode settings (all display settings inert, cant adjust or switch profiles). :(

I have this LCD and the standby to resume does take a fair while, however the LCD is so bright - which is great when using 3D. What do you guys have your brightness set to0?

Could you please try with different games? Does this problem occur with all your games? With my Acer it's about a 50/50 ratio of no switching back/proper switching back, depending on game-title (as listed in my dedicated thread).
