I started a new topic in the surround-section, but no answer, yet.
So I am going to ask the question here.
I am using 2 GTX 670 in a 2-way-sli-setup.
Does adding a third GTX 670 make sense for someone who is mainly playing with 3D-Vision enabled?
Is there a difference if you are using three screens in a surround setup or just one screen?
I don't think triple SLI is helpful for 3D yet. I have a single Galaxy GTX 670 comming on Wed. Do you think it will be sufficient for 3DTV Play 720p gaming? I just want to make sure I get 60fps when playing on the Panasonic 50in. TC-P50GT25

First of all do you have a 3-way sli compatable motherboard? Second a third 670 will help performance, 2d or 3d. But as of right now the Nvidia drivers are not complete and still immature for 3-way and 4-way sli so some games you will get extra performance and others you won't. I hope invidia hurrys up with the drivers because I got 3 670s with my name on them. :)

720p is a pretty low resolution. You will get 60fps with 3d vision in most games.

Yeah from everything I've read, there's still no benefit to 3+ GPUs for 3D Vision.

Single GPU 670 should be enough for most games at 720p, but from what I've seen a single GPU now suffers from some pretty serious framelock/double buffer stuttering where FPS will jump between 30 and 60 if the GPU can't maintain 60FPS for both eyes. I'm pretty sure eqzitara saw this first hand recently with his single 680, only fixed with a second 680 for SLI.
