I just want a decent full HD monitor, with HDMI, and 120Hz, for 3D vision.
But i get what you mean.
At the moment choices are pretty limited. If you want to go with an LCD only Samsung and Viewsonic make them and 22" is the limit. Larger screens would be nice and I cant' wait for that but not at the moment. The resolution runs at 1680 x 1050. Hopefully they will soon increase in size, but don't hold your breath on that one.

I can wait a bit, as i'm going to attach my computer to a TV, which is a bit old, and only HD ready. So yeah, i can wait 6months. Maybe a Xmas present? Hopefully i'll get enough money for my birthday in July, but 1.2 grand is a bit much. :)
Don't samsung do a 61" 120hz monitor? DLP or something?

Yes, there are a lot of DLP HDTV's that will work and you can tell by the 3D Ready stamp on them. There is a list somewhere, havent' looked for it. The requirements web page only shows Mistu DLP's on the list so it needs updating badly. If that's your thing you can definitely use one of those. If I could fit one on my desk I would consider getting one.. Have fun

I am lead to believe that the best you're going to get resolution wise is still going to be 1680x1050 tho, from what I remember there is an issue with the ramdac working at 120hz and anything over 1080. So having a nice big 24-26 + inch screen is nice but I really don't think you're going to be running it at anywhere beyond 1680x1050 any time soon if you want to run 3D Vision on it.
I could be wrong but that was the idea I was getting when I was over at XS.
Oh and as for prices.... LMAO.
You're going to be stuck with the 2233rz and the Viewsonic Fuhzion VX2265wm unless you want to be spending big money.

to put my 2 cents in I believe that a 3d Ready DLP is the way to go. You can use if for everyday T.V. + you get a great gaming monitor with fast response times. If you research 3d Ready DLP HDTV's they have much less "Ghosting" than any 3d Ready LCD screen. BTW I have A Samsung 3d Ready DLP T.V. and I love it because it has a backlit LED which will last much longer than a lamp display that is in the Mistubishis. Either way would work good for you though!!

Next year in college, im taking resistant materials, so i can make what ever i want. SO i'm going to build a desk with specifications for monitor/case/keyboard/mouse etc.
So yeah, my desk can fit it.. Or, is it wall mountable?

Yes it is wall mountable, but at 61" you might want to be at least several feet back. ;) Definitely worth the money, it's a pretty decent HDTV.
Very nice, though yeah, 61 inches is a bit big. Is there a 50 inch version available in the UK?
I'm afraid not. The only screens less than 60" that will work are the 120 Hz LCD monitors like the Samsung I have. That means 22". Of course you could always get a DLP projector and screen, then you could make it any size you want. Not going to look quite as good, and generally requires a darker room but should still be a good experience. Only drawback is replacing the expensive projector lamp that will burn out at the worst time...

I'm not sure this should be in here, but it is about 3D vision.
OK, I need a monitor.
Min Requirements.
120Hz(for 3D Vision)
22-24", possibly 26"
Full HD (1920x1080, or 1920 x 1200)
16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio.
HDMI
DVI
Budget £400?
Black
Doesn't need a built in webcam, but i'm not fussy.
Decent Colour/lighting.
Quite a good response time so no ghosting.
Little backlight Bleed around the edges.
And thats about it.
Thanks all.
