Adjusting individual eye settings
My son has an eye condition called amblyopia in which one eye is strong and the other weak. To strengthen the weak eye he wears a correct contact lens (corrects the optics, but not the nerve underdevelopment) and we patch the good eye (to force the visual cortex to develop), but in takes a long time for small improvements. However there is evidence that 3D games can help to accelerate the process. I purchased an old Ninetendo Virtual Boy and had him play it with good results for vision improvement. Then I discovered the Nvidia system!

He vision is now strong enough that he can see stereoscopically, but the one eye is still much less acute than the good one. In the successful experiments in the UK they fed the good eye less information than the weak one.

So (long wind-up I know). I'm wondering if it possible to adjust the Nvidia system so the strong eye gets less information, perhaps less intensity or every second frame?

There is no way to change it in software.
Just put an additional dark lens in front of one eye.

This is interesting. Since early on when doing testing with my shader I did only warp one eye to add depth to the image. This seemed to work ok. I too have a weak left eye due to a defect in left eye. Like a small hole some where. So my vision out of focus. Ya at the eye doctor they should hand you Polarized glasses and a some images listed 1-20 to test how strong your depth perception is. It's a easy test to do. Make sure you make an appointment. Because our eyes can tell the eye doctor a lot about your overall health. Eye doctors can detect early signs of some conditions and diseases by looking at your eye. Look in to my eyes, look in to my eyes, my eyes no not around the eyes. Good, Now your under If you see this message go see a doctor. No, a make that a eye doctor. Hang on, lets call the doctor a optometrist. 3.2.1... Your back, now go see that doctor.
