Deus Ex: Revision is a complete graphics, map, and music overhaul of the original Deus Ex.
It renders graphics in dx9 which means it should be possible to use existing dx9 tools/utilities.
Essentially, this is a re-mastered Deus Ex.
Note: some players say dx10 is available, but I do not see that option.

Free to download. Requires Deus Ex: GOTY (on steam)
Note: in steam comments, some players say it's possible to play mod with GoG or CD version.
Important!
by default, HD character models are not enabled.
In Settings -> HDTP Options: Global = All and everything else = True
In Settings -> display: increase brightness and UI Scaling = Normal
In Settings -> Sound: decrease music volume
In Game Options -> Gameplay Style: Choose Normal, Shifter, or BioMod

I choose Biomod because it includes Shifter.
I had previously purchased Deus Ex: GOTY but quit after a few hours because the graphics looked so bad that immersion was not possible for me.
After playing Revision for 1-2 hours, with the default game profile, everything looks perfect in 3D Vision except:
1. There are some (glare) lights which render as two objects. 95+% of lights look fine. Only these bright glare lights (at the docks) are bad. Since such lights are so few in number, I am just ignoring them now.
2. The HUD and crosshair are 2D. Crosshair can be disabled. Have not yet tried to disable the HUD (since I am still learning to play), but at least the HUD is small.

I have an idea, but also zero coding skills.
A "simple" fix that pushes the HUD + Crosshair in depth is all we need for this game so far (same as in Borderlands)
I could achieve that just with lowering convergence but it also pushes the whole game world.
edit: Idk if we can get the helix wrapper working here.
This mode rely on particular "D3D9Drv" dll in order to run under dx9, if we substitute that dll with the debugger game wont start in dx9 mode. (proxylib is useless here)
Just sharing thoughts, i might be wrong!
