Bad News for fans of this game, it's moving exclusively to the Vulkan API and ditching dx12.
DirectX 12 isn't completely off the table, "DX12 would only be considered if we found it gave us a specific and substantial advantage over Vulkan"

Well looks to be no fix for Star Citizen in the future.. I did read another where they may add 3D support but not sure if that will happen highly doubt it..

Still using Lumberyard in this video and no mention of Vulkan, perhaps they decided to stay with dx11? They said that they wanted to avoid dx12, since it was limited to Windows 10 users only.

Well I spent the last hour trying to get S3D working with SC it was a no go.. I had a glimmer of hope with one thing I tried but once I got ingame the screen was black all I saw was the Helmet Hud so this seems dead in the water still
I tried 2 different versions of Migoto same effect none..

This game is a reminder to be very wary about kickstarters. I wasted, 100 bux on this game while they were hyping it, including promises of 3D support. Never again...

This is pure Roberts. I've been playing his games since the 90s and he has always had issues with feature creep. Because of his feature creep obsession, the API and it's feature set are constantly changing.
