Drivers v266.58 not working for 3D on gtx 460
Hi. It seems to me like I may be the only one with this issue being I haven't read about it ANYWHERE but I hope I'm wrong...

I have been running v260.99 for quite some time and the 3d is solid using a GTX 460 and PowerDVD 10. No issues.
However, when I install v266.58, my 3D begins to act up (in other words it doesn't work). The symptoms are it flickers on and off, maybe I'll get a stable image but just for about 2 seconds and it also seems like it dims. 3D will not work. If I re-image the PC back to 260.99 it's fine again.

On a side note, I use powerDVD 10, Windows Media Center and MyMovies Plug-in. With v260.99, the HD audio on blu-rays will not work when running PDVD within WMC. It's just silent. When choosing other audio options, I believe I just get stereo but at least the 3D works (outside WMC because I get no audio within). However, when I upgraded to v266.99, voila! HD audio worked within WMC/MyMovies! I was absolutely thrilled and began planning my library. But then as I launched a 3D title, I found out the 3D broke. It's seems I can't get the best of both worlds to work.

Is it just me? the only other way I can manage is to re-image the PC when I want to watch 3D and then re-image it back to watch the rest of my library. It obviously shouldn't be this way. and "I believe" I tried everything. I even went back to sterile image with no drivers and installed the new ones. 3D still doesn't work so it's not a driver conflict issue.

Anyone have any thoughts/feedback/advice? Thanks for reading.

Try another cable; I had some flickering when I used a hdmi 1.0 cable and that sure didn't work... changed it with a 1.4 and everything was fine.

Just wondering if it's related to PowerDVD or to the drivers. Have you tried the 3Dtest in your Nvidia ccontrol panel?
I also have a GTX460 and recently updated to 266.58. At least 3DTV play works fine. Haven't tried PowerDVD.

Even though I go back to the previous drivers? After all, wouldn't that affect both pc images? As I mentioned, it's rock solid with the 260.99 drivers. I have the mini hdmi going to the receiver and the hdmi-dvi going to the h5360 hdmi. Did something about the new 266.58 drivers change that I need to replace my cable?

It fails at the setup wizard stage so it never even gets to work in Powerdvd.
