3d vision is off for almost a year now? 3d vision changed or something

I don't know what happened to nvidia with their 3d protocols and z depth rendering in 3d, but since about last september or october the 3d that I am getting now was instantly changed from before that. Some weird computer stuff has happened to from updated nvidia drivers like having to swap my display cables for the proper boot display to show up ect..
So my main question is why can i not view 3d the same as before where the image seemed like it had volume and boxles? I guess you could call that pop out. I was using the old 91.31 stereo combo drivers on my projector in 2007 with a gefoce 6270 i think and when i viewed the nvidia 3d test image it came off my screen right into the middle of the room. I could see it clearly and visable with the depth of the nvidia logo having nothing attached to it and it also apearing off screen before going back in then coming out. So now since 2010 all i see is a blurry nvidia logo that looks like it is attached to something like an invisible grey scale pattern of pixel color. I am still able to see inside the logo screen normally in 3d i think but still looks dull and really grey without any real color clarity, as i am viewing now for certanty.
I really like 3d so much but since a year ago I have decided not to use nvidia 3d vision for more than 30 seconds to see if it works any better after new driver releases. I am not sure if nvidia can fix this issue i am having but it makes me real sad since I have always wanted 3d at its full potential.
I am also having a failure with 3d movies as changing the 3d parallax does nothing for the pop out effect or 3d depth. It only doubles the image in my eyes and when leaving the parallax at the middle zone my 3d movies do not seem to look like stereoscopic 3d, just a 2d image with a dark night field color pattern with a constant white contrast illumination. So its not totally eye catching to me.
Please, Please nvidia can you look into this and see if you can do some magic programming like computers have before. I remember more coolness instead of the bleakness of compatability.

Whats the parallax for, How big your head eyes space is? Is'nt this redundant then. I know i remember watching a blu-ray 3d movie my first 3d blu-ray, cloudy with a chance of meatballs and the 3d slider makes it more 3d but that was in august of last year. You sure you know what you mean? The option clearly states the more separation "parallax" the more 3d you are getting, but its not working like that and its working like you say, not sure if its 3d or 2d with a filter removed.

OP. I would say your issue is not really driver related, as it would seem your problems are unique. I would advise you look for other changes. You must have changed your display device. Did projectors even have 120MHz refresh rates in 2007? Wouldn't have been DLP back then would it?

Honestly, it isn't easy. That's nothing new around here, though. 3D Vision is being sold world wide but NVIDIA seems to only have English forums.
Do you even have the special [url=http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_GeForce_3D_VisionKit_us.html]3D Vision glasses[/url]? 91.31 sounds like VERY old drivers that probably wouldn't have supported them.
Ive just checked in nvcp and ive got great popout with the logo and newest drivers, no muddy colors, no blurring, looks like it always has..........AND GHOST FREE hmmmmmmmmmm.................

Around that time, there was an important change, 3DTV Play was added to the drivers (CD1.37 was the first). This affected people with HDMI1.4 3DTVs because starting with CD1.37 until now, the set up wizard abandons 3D Vision and diverts the set up to 3DTV Play instead, and 3DTV Play has very bad image quality vs 3D Vision. So for HDTV users, 3D Vision was no longer available even though 3D Vision hardware was being used. Maybe that's what you are seeing.

I have tried different troubleshoots including disconnecting my projector with no success in a more clear 3d image. Viewing just only on my 3d lcd does the exact same disstortion effect. My content don't look like a army doll inside my monitor only a 2d image with more darkblackness color and no popout on anything.
Also when i do the nvidia test setup where you got to look through each eye and determine which shape is in each eye something wierd happens. When I look through my left eye the object that is supposed to be blocked out still shows up slightly and when looking through my left eye the object is more clearly pronounced and is blocked by my 3d vision glasses.
This still does not seem the same as when i was using nvidias legacy 91.31 drivers even though games were not supported and such but just looking at the nvidia 3d logo test. It almost seems like theres some lag in sync or missing z-depth since everything works in 3d but not giving the full effect with clarity.

Huh? Which object? How can it be pronounced yet be blocked by your glasses? If you are seeing both shapes, did you tell the setup program that's what you are seeing? Also, have you tried putting the emitter in a different USB port?
When i look at the two objects, right triangle and left hexagon i get bleed through on the first row and a bit on the second. There is more bleed through on the left hexagons though and the right first row triangles are bleeding some. Seems that there is a sync issue. I can pass the 3d test but honestly my 3d vision is not working right and i am not sure if bleed though is from it. But surely i would get a real 3d image if the sync was perfectly timed.
Its to bad nvidia don't make a sync option so that you can choose between different objects that have different timings/sync and then you could see what the best suited sync to your display is. Or even be able to select the crosstalk area looking through both left and right eye differently then have the sync detector adjust to clear it up.

The darkfield trasparency I am talking about means that when viewing stereoscopic 3d as a whole, it produces an image with a filter of color of black transparancy. Kind of like a cubed 3d field of blackness except on a screen. Its caused by the glasses that stop all the extra white or bright colors coming through and tinting everything darker. I know this is normal, but thats all i see that 3d is adding to nvidia stereo 3d as I see now. When i viewed a 3d picture of an "awesome game in 3d" here on nvidia forums, all i could see is the darkfield blackness of it and nothing to do with real 3d like spacial volume, boxles and popout. Just flat scenery walls with a character flying supposedly in mid air but it looked so much more like 2d. Even all the 3d photos I have that i though looked 3d before look similarily 2d just with a darkfield transparency.

Do you even have the special 3D Vision glasses? 91.31 sounds like VERY old drivers that probably wouldn't have supported them.

Dunno, but it would help if we knew your config, especially what display you are using.
Around that time, there was an important change, 3DTV Play was added to the drivers (CD1.37 was the first). This affected people with HDMI1.4 3DTVs because starting with CD1.37 until now, the set up wizard abandons 3D Vision and diverts the set up to 3DTV Play instead, and 3DTV Play has very bad image quality vs 3D Vision. So for HDTV users, 3D Vision was no longer available even though 3D Vision hardware was being used. Maybe that's what you are seeing.

I have tried different troubleshoots including disconnecting my projector with no success in a more clear 3d image. Viewing just only on my 3d lcd does the exact same disstortion effect. I think i could be isolated but I know forusre one day in september 2010 3d was changed from a driver update and I never did want to revert to older drivers, but you think nvidia is missing some z depth info? My content don't look like a army doll inside my monitor only a 2d image with more darkblackness color and no popout on anything.
Also when i do the nvidia test setup where you got to look through each eye and determine which shape is in each eye something wierd happens. When I look through my left eye the object that is supposed to be blocked out still shows up slightly and when looking through my left eye the object is more clearly pronounced and is blocked by my 3d vision glasses.
This still does not seem the same as when i was using nvidias legacy 91.31 drivers even though games were not supported and such but just looking at the nvidia 3d logo test. It almost seems like theres some lag in sync or missing z-depth since everything works in 3d but not giving the full effect with clarity.

Huh? Which object? How can it be pronounced yet be blocked by your glasses? If you are seeing both shapes, did you tell the setup program that's what you are seeing? Also, have you tried putting the emitter in a different USB port?

Its to bad nvidia don't make a sync option so that you can choose between different objects that have different timings/sync and then you could see what the best suited sync to your display is. Or even be able to select the crosstalk area looking through both left and right eye differently then have the sync detector adjust to clear it up.
I am guessing the reason why i cannot see 3d as good as it can be is because of monitor to glasses sync issues and might affect the z-depth of stereoscopic 3d. I really don't think there is any tweak or adjustment i can do and its all up to nvidia to make some new protocols.

I am not sure if anyone knows what i mean but nvidia did something different in the way a 3d image is processed and displayed to view with volume, popout and z-depth boxels along with my glasses and sync timing issues. Almost seems like the nvidia 3d I am using is faulty and broken.

I just don't know if its something dumb i am doing or because of the fact nvidia don't want to give people fatigue or eyestrain so they adjust their 3d protocols to suit that desire and minimize the 3d imagery close to 2d since its got perfect visual cues. It really seems redundant to close off spacial information like on my setup to abide by 2d lovers viewpoints, it only makes things worse as the picture quality goes negative and brings visual technology backwards as a whole.

Look on the right side at the first image (just below the 'download picture pack' - you may have to scroll down a bit) that has a gal in blue pointing a staff at a skirmish. Click on that image and you should be sent "A stick in my eye.jps". That staff has a good bit of popout and the distant objects are fairly far off. What are you seeing? If you aren't getting any 3D effect, what are you seeing out of each eye?
