Hopefully they plan on bringing back support with the new beta driver. They should have the fewest obstacles possible for people wanting to dabble in 3d stereo. Chances are, once a person tastes it, they will buy better equipment eventually to improve the experience.

My biggest gripe about the 3d Vision as it is now is the framerate. My pc can maintain 60fps for the most part when in 3d ... but 60 fps I visibly notice as not being completely smooth. Now, I understand I am nitpicking and asking for something that basically doesn't exist. I am dreaming of the future. 240hz monitors with 120hz for each shutter anyone? Oh yes please! XD

It is just the technology and it is FPS/HZ. Essentially with 3D on you can expect your FPS to be cut in half. Being that 3d requires vsync your computer wont produce more than 120fps. Just had a try, BS2 is completly unplayable in 3D. Anyone else feel the same? I'm in one of the greatest shocks of my life. I enabled 3D Vision in the settings and yet the 3D's performance is totally unbearable. It's useless. I couldn't stand it more than a minute. Wtzup!?

Dell P1130 21" CRT. Yeah as long as your CRT does 100 or 120 Hz 3D Vision works fine, although expect to get some ghosting. Still a very nice 3D experience IMO.

I got some screenshots since the new patch up at this link. Stupid crosshair but its tolerable at lowest depth. I havn't played with conversion at all though.

I suppose it can be trained in, but it's not very natural. You generally don't see images in just one eye in real life, so it's bound to be confusing. I don't think making crosshairs depth sensitive is so hard that a shortcut is necessary in this case.

I suppose it can be trained in, but it's not very natural. You generally don't see images in just one eye in real life, so it's bound to be confusing. I don't think making crosshairs depth sensitive is so hard that a shortcut is necessary in this case.

The only problems I have is with the flare around lights and some refections in water. Other than that its ok.
