Hi bo3b - I believe it's the boneMatrices problem we corresponded about.
I just added a toggle in the fix for the HUD. It's a tad crude but as you cycle through the different OSDs using the "C" key (or wheel/gamepad equivalent) the HUD only works for one of them. So added a toggle key "V" to switch rendering settings to if you change the HUD and it looks wrong, press "V" to correct it. I'll put this out shortly. I also parameterized the HUD depth/pop-out so you can set that to whatever you want.

Right-O, I'll take a look and see if I can't improve that. The stray ones people are seeing might be because we changed the hand fix for that midstream. No more /4 in the array references.
Also of note, I think I've found the answer to the sweeping shadow problem, where there is an annoying shadow at distance that moves across the landscape.
I tried the pre-release driver that fixes the GTA5 grass problem in SLI, and that driver also fixes this sweeping shadow problem.
Unfortunately, that means we can't fix the problem from shader hacking because this suggests it's a driver bug, but this does mean that we can expect a fix later on.

Hi bo3b - the solution was to change the erroneous [r0.x/3] references to [r0.x/4]. Are you thinking of the other problem with the dust where we replaced [r0.y/3] with [r0.y] ?
Great news about the new driver - where do I get hold of that?

It says quite clearly in the instructions that the HUD is a mess... I have however added a toggle button to tidy up the different HUD views (unreleased at the moment).

The large "moving shadow doesn't cast it'self over the road as you're driving with the drivers that got released today for Witcher 3 (352.86). However the shadow does continue to follow you on trees, hills etc.

Yes! That was much faster than expected. This new driver 352.86 is a later version than the pre-release version I tested, and includes this fix for GTA5, Bioshock, Alien, Dying Light one-eye problems.
It also fixes the shadow of black death here in pCars.

Regarding the lights, I'm not seeing this, so I am a bit unclear. What track was that in your screenshot? You say all cars and all weather, so if I go to that track I can try a few things out. Perhaps is AA? Can you try turning off different graphics settings to see if it stops happening?
Sorry for the delayed response. This does not happen to all cars as I originally thought but does happen to a lot of them (the majority from what I've seen). All the 'Ginetta' cars have the issue, and in the screenshot attached (just as another example) so do the Aston Martin and Mustang GT5 cars. Same in all weather conditions including sunny day - it's there just hard to see. AA does not affect the issue, but I still need to test other settings more comprehensively.
Aside from the weird spikes/fins that poke of out cars sometimes (already reported) and the big moving shadow I have not seen any other issues. :) This game is SOOOO good in 3D with a proper wheel setup. :)

These drivers apparently cause problems with Kepler cards.

So I'm going to revert back to previous drivers hoping that I can atleast install the PhysX and 3D Vision packages independently from the main driver package.

Well, that thread proves nothing other than people hate NVidia with an abiding passion. Their 'benchmarks' are pathetic. Look, I'm not an NVidia fanboy, no matter how much it appears like that. They screw up a LOT. But can we PLEASE keep it based on FACTS instead of people doing absolutely terrible comparisons?
I tested GTA5 specifically using the pre-cursor driver to this latest one of 352.86, same driver branch of 352. There was NO performance difference on two different Kepler cards 690s, and 760s. I will also test 352.86 and post the results.
Maybe Maxwell cards are faster (damn, hope so), or maybe get better optimizations. But let's be clear that the driver is NOT being nerfed for older cards. "If it came from the internet, it's a lie. Until you get solid proof." ;->

OK, that's weird. The giant log is from the debug=1, pretty expected. We usually want that when it crashes, because it will tend to be smallish with high detail.
But since it's working the log is not useful. That does say that the fix itself and 3Dmigoto are running here though, the crash is not likely related to them.
That suggests that changing the speed somehow changed the results. just thought id drop a post back in with an update dude.. since ive installed the new witcher drivers ur fix works perfectly, no crashes or anything.. (only issue is the shadow in the distance follows round the map, which other have posted about). But i cant explain why new drivers makes it work, but it does.. Looks mint too.. Respect ;D

The red and green lights at the beginning of a race. You may have them turned off in the game settigs. I will try to get a screenshot this weekend.
I don't really know what you mean, but I can't wait to find out.

Anyway, I have Windows 8.1 and used your Shader Fix folder with everything else form Flugan. The patch looks very good, but not perfect. The first thing I noticed were the shadows from the starting lights at the beginning of the race. The other big issue I noticed is the HUD. I edited the EXE to fix it (made 6 replacements with "nvbpi"). The HUD piece that is in the bottom left corner by default is the issue. In one eye, is is very light, almost transparent. In the other eye, it is darker, but I see two misaligned copies of the numbers. This gives me a headache.
If you can't fix 3D in the game menus, could you make it automatically turn off at least?
If you get these issues fixed, that will be awesome. Thank you so much!
Please keep in mind this is not finished. When it's complete, we'll fix things like the menus. This is just work in progress for people who don't mind some extra trouble.
For the HUD, are you setting the convergence properly? We aren't seeing any problem with that. Unlock advanced settings in the nvidia control panel, and then use Ctrl-F5 to lower the convergence.
Yes, I have convergence unlocked, but I prefer a different setting that the one that makes the HUD alignment correct. Isn't there a way to change convergence without messing that up?
Also, why does convergence have a minimum limit that you can't lower it past, but there is no maximum limit, so you can keep turning it up until the game is off the screen?

Just to know, is there anyone getting the stretched headlights reflections working (cars brake lights and headlights reflected on the road a good depth)?
I mean only two people (including me) mentioned that this options wasn't working so I am wondering if other people just don't use this option, or if it works for others.
I really like this option, so I would love to be able to activate it :).
I didn't tried with the newest drivers yet, however these new Witcher 3 drivers fixed the large shadow on the road for me (not on the terrain).
Thanks
Unfortunately the new driver (352.68) is not solving the moving shadow problem for me.
OK, weird. Just for a data point, running that released driver of 352.86, I'm still having success with no black death sweeping across the land.
Since this is working for me, that's an existence proof of sorts that it can be done, we just don't know what makes it happen.
Here is my example from the Sonoma track where I'd see the black death every time on this turn, at distance.

Specs in signature. This is using Mike's alpha3 release, and 3Dmigoto 1.1.6. pCars64.exe (1.0.1.1) Update maybe?
I still think this is driver related, because when I was running on 350.12 I saw this problem.

No this currently does not work. I did update the earlier post to make this explicit. I agree that it looks really nice, and will try and work it out, but I've not managed it yet. You just have to turn it off for now.

No this currently does not work. I did update the earlier post to make this explicit. I agree that it looks really nice, and will try and work it out, but I've not managed it yet. You just have to turn it off for now.

I am not sure what you are referring to here? Can you post a couple of screenshots?
It says quite clearly in the instructions that the HUD is a mess... I have however added a toggle button to tidy up the different HUD views (unreleased at the moment).

Yes! That was much faster than expected. This new driver 352.86 is a later version than the pre-release version I tested, and includes this fix for GTA5, Bioshock, Alien, Dying Light one-eye problems.
It also fixes the shadow of black death here in pCars.

These drivers apparently cause problems with Kepler cards.
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/831639/geforce-700-600-series/nvidia-is-deliberately-downgrading-kepler-gpus-performance-in-favor-of-maxwell-/1/

The red and green lights at the beginning of a race. You may have them turned off in the game settigs. I will try to get a screenshot this weekend.
I don't really know what you mean, but I can't wait to find out.

I mean only two people (including me) mentioned that this options wasn't working so I am wondering if other people just don't use this option, or if it works for others.
I really like this option, so I would love to be able to activate it :).

In case it helps here are my settings screens:
I haven't really played this game, so I don't know if that's what you need or not. If I've missed something let me know and I'll find it.
Specs in signature. This is using Mike's alpha3 release, and 3Dmigoto 1.1.6. pCars64.exe (1.0.1.1) Update maybe?
I still think this is driver related, because when I was running on 350.12 I saw this problem.
