Asus PG278QR - severe ghosting/crosstalk in some games
  3 / 5
I have just purchased the PG27VQ & can confirm it is crosstalk free. I’m actually quite amazed at how perfect the 3D image looks. I have had the PG278QR for the last 2 years & had crosstalk in every game. The curve on this screen also adds to the immersion, really pleased with my purchase.
hmm.. that curve monitor has excessive backlight bleed, according to the reviews from Newegg
hmm.. that curve monitor has excessive backlight bleed, according to the reviews from Newegg
Also read that yesterday when I wanted to have a look at the price. I bought the QR because it was on sale at the lowest price ever on Black Friday and the reviews where good. The new VQ would cost me 300$ CAD more. I don't need the AURA lights and curve, being a first 3D curved I'm also afraid of problems and that's one of the reason I went with the QR, an evolution of the first swift.

It’s not worth the cost of stepping up if you already have a PG series though, unless u got to have the latest tech...

Hi there. I'm also interested in buying PG27VQ. Any owners, please tell more about crosstalk/ghosting on it. It would be perfect to see test photos from inside glasses. For now, I have PG278QR. Very good monitor, but noticeable crosstalk in some cases. Contrast should not exceed 45 points. But even with 20 crosstalks sometimes are noticeable. Thank you so much!

I see that the Dell monitor gets a lot of hate, I have the newer revision on of the S2716DG and it is fantastic. Sometimes I prefer it to my LG Oled 4k 55C6P tv.
Your buying that just because its curved?? I could see if it were bigger....but its pretty much a curved 8Q
Hi. Of course no :) I consider it because of J-Enermax told earlier: "I have just purchased the PG27VQ & can confirm it is crosstalk free." I've used BenQ W710ST before and because of DLP technology it was absolutely perfect in terms of ghosting, but not resolution. No any ghosting at all. So I hope to find 1440p monitor, which is ghosting free.
