So my Battlefield 3 works perfectly fine in normal mode, however when I choose to enable 3D Vision from NVIDIA controlpanel, my game freezes up and the next thing I see is this:

Here are my specs:
GPU: GeForce GTX 680
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
Memory: 15,96 GB
Resolution: 1920x1080 (120Hz)
Driverversion: 320,49
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
Monitor: BenQ XL2420t
Any suggestions / help would be appreciated.

Looks like a driver error - should probably report to Nvidia in the drivers section as well as here. Nvidia staff will not read this particular forum. What driver version are you using? Could you try older/newer drivers?

Just so you know you aren't missing anything, you can't have any decent amount of convergence because the gun is so close to your face, so your gun is in 3D and the rest of the world is pretty much at maximum depth. It also has shadow and smoke issues.

I'm using driverversion 320,49. I did try a couple of older versions ago, but it didn't seem to work that time either.
- I'll post this on the driver selection as well.
