I have a GTX 570 with the latest beta drivers and nvision drivers. I can play any 3d movie just fine but when I try to play the 3d version of Tron Legacy it seems like the 3d kicks on and off for like a split second every now and then, especially when it gets to more action oriented scenes. I have tried re-installing my drivers and my bluray video playback software but I am still having this issue. I was just wondering if anyone else has this issue and if they have found a way to fix it.

Hi
Can you provide more details:
- GPU driver version
- What type of display are you using?
- What playback SW are you using?

Yah I am having the same issue. Only with Tron 3d blue ray disc. I am using powerdvd 10 with an acer 5830 PJ and nvidia 3d kit.
Originally I thought this was the new beta driver issue so I rolled back to the current non beta driver and it still happens.
My hardware 2 gtx 480's in sli. X58 chipset mobo and core i950 CPU, 6gb of ram, win 7 64.
I have made sure my internal blue ray drive has the most current firmware. It's a LG drive.
Sli is always disabled for b3d playback as sli does not work at all for any blue ray 3d.

I bought mine at Best Buy where I work and I exchanged it because I thought the disc was bad but it was still doing the same thing with a new disc.

Hi
Is there an error message you are getting? Does the player just crash?

Neither one, the video plays but it is like the 3d shifts or something for like a split second every now and again especially in high action scenes. It's hard to explain exactly but that is about the best way I can think of to describe it.

Can you take a video and upload it? I know the 3D wont come through, but we can at least see the error.

I would take a video but I have yet to find a way around the bluray drm protection, if a bluray disc is playing you can't do any screen recording.
It's very similar to micro-stuttering in games. Normal smooth playback then a very brief "stutter" then back to normal. This is why we are thinking damaged media, but something else is going on. Of the 2 previews also on the disc, the first is fine but the 2nd also does this weird stutter effect.
In this case however the stutter is the 3d effect going off/on. Often the entire display will appear to warp then return.
I have never gotten a error. Once my display did go completely blank for around 30 seconds then the playback seem to fast forward 30 sec really quickly.
I'm starting to the the Hdcp drm might be the culprit but my anydvd trial expired and I'm not really willing to pay $100 for it.

That's a good tip. If you are having stuttering issues, make sure you list the version of Cyberlink you are using.
