acer h5360

hi

I'm going to order a acer h5360 Projector and have been reading up on it and other
peoples experiences.

I'm going to sound like a total noob but.... How do you connect it to your computer?

Edit: btw there is no DVI input on it....well unless the photos have been lying to me :(

Do you use a DVI to HDMI converter? or DVI to VGA?

Thought you had to use DVI to DVI and there was no other way? Or is that only for
the monitors?

Thanks in advance :S

Thanks for replying

Have you tried DVI to HDMI?

Or does anybody know if there would be an advantage using DVI 2 HDMI over VGA ?

In theory there would be but theory isn't 3d /ike.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ike:' />

HDMI cable from the back of my GTX460 to the projector. Easy.

Otherwise. Use a DVI -> HDMI adapter and then use the HDMI cable.

So the 3D will differently work directly from the mini HDMI to the projector? ( just checking because i thought it had to come from DVI not sure though)

I have a dual dvi - hdmi cable with mine. Have to disable the HDMI audio in the nvidia control panel in order to get 120hz out of it though.

Is it just the same one you get with the nvidia 3d set? If it is i'll slap my self in the face for you :">

naa thats all dual dvi both ends - ya don't need all that for 720p! ;)
This is what i purchased http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130514

To be fair though a VGA cable with a dvi adapter will do just fine, i just find it acquires resolution changes alot quicker than VGA does.
