Since the VG278HR has a built in emitter and is capable of 3D over a HDMI connection via it's HDMI 1.4 support, you can watch YouTube in 3D using a Side by Side format by slightly changing the url and using adobe flash. This can also be done by anyone using a Line Interleaved Display or any HDMI display with side by side support. What you need to do is replace the watch?v= portion of the url with v/ Example /watch?v=4Zooh30RXGM becomes /v/4Zooh30RXGM (https://www.youtube.com/v/4Zooh30RXGM) Once you have opened the new page, (BEFORE DOING ANYTHING ELSE) hit play, then you'll be able to access the 3D format settings. Watch this video by mohawkade that explains this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-koUkuL8ao BTW.....This info is already on the forums if you would have searched. EDIT: perhaps you did search, the search feature on this forum sucks. There are several ways to get better search results discussed in this thread. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/824274/ HTML 5 is broken on youtube though (AFAIK), at one time you could watch it, but only in 360P

You can also update Nvidia's player, it will help watching some things. http://3dvision-blog.com/8619-how-to-always-keep-your-nvidia-3d-vision-video-player-up-to-date/

Ohh.. Another thing, keep in mind that 3D on youtube sucks for the most part because of the way it handled uploading and compression. So most of the content doesn't look real great.

Sure... All you need to do is convince Google, Firefox and YouTube to fix it. Good Luck. A good place to start is the Nvidia support option at the top of the page. YouTube https://www.youtube.com/html5

Starting with the GTX 9XX series, 1920x1080@120Hz is possible over a HDMI connection and is compliant with the HDMI 2.0 standard. Your monitor supports HDMI 1.4 and "IS NOT" capable of accepting a 1920x1080@120Hz input via a HDMI connection. Dual Link DVI, supports 1920x1080@120Hz.

Most likely to be a software problem, YouTube has been broken for a long time, since they started to convert all to HTML5. No great answer for YouTube, if the /v trick is not working, the video may be monetized and hence not playable in Flash. Lots of weird problems with 3D there. I'm sure I understand the train of thought here, but for a 3D Vision monitor I don't think you'll need HDMI, I would only expect that when using 3D TV Play.

Hey I'm sorry, I thought it was clear that it's broken for 3D Vision users and that if you had a HDMI 1.4 capable display you could use it as an option. So yes, if you want to watch YouTube, you must use your HDMI cable. If you want to use your DVI cable, get them to fix it, because it does not work with current Browsers, HTML 5 and NVIDIA Drivers. (AFAIK) I know that I haven't been able to get it to work on my ASUS VG278HE. Also, if you watched that video that I so nicely linked, you could of tried download options using an updated (link also included) 3D Vision Video Player via your DVI connection. (not sure if it works with current drivers, but it used to)
