Issues with CD 1.23;
  1 / 3
Firstly on a positive note, its good to finally see some new drivers.

Now I havent tested evrygame yet but have confirmed issues with the following;

MW2: When using quad sli, the graphics are totally fuzzy, its as if im running 800x600 resolution. When i disable quad sli, the 3d is perfect.

JC2: Still have one lens that is black, no 3d image at all in quad sli. When quad sli disabled, 3d image is perfect but performance is s##t!

SF4: my fps are averaging 2fps! haha. Prior to this driver i was running this game max settings with 16q in 3d with a constant 60fps!!

BORDERLANDS: 3d is totally messed up. Its giving me an error message in red saying " attempt to run 3d mode with non 3d display"

Need some fixes plz....

Definately the drivers, I attempted a fresh install again; uninstalled drivers, rebooted into safe mode, clean with driver sweeper and then reboot and reinstalled. Same issues with the games listed above. Other games like; BC2, Batman, RE5, Tomb Raider, Dirt 2, are working fine. Its just the games listed above for me

Ok PURE aswell is not working right. Very fuzzy again and my performance has been halfed. Last driver set- constant 60fps, this driver 30fps! Also MW2's performance has also halfed.

What is going on.....

Is anyone else able to reproduce these problems? For me these drivers are the best I have seen in a long while.

I'm not saying it isn't the drivers, but maybe if we can find others with the same problem, we can track down the specific issue. Perhaps it is an incompatibility with certain hardware or os?

What OS are you running and perhaps the problems are related to your quad-sli? Have tried it with only one GPU running or perhaps with a different nV card altogether?

I'm running win 7 64bit. I believe it's a quad sli issue, when I disable quad sli the fuzziness is gone and the performance is even better.BUT this is with just the games I have listed above, other games like BC2 are running perfect- 60fps max settings with 8aa.

Pure, SF4, MW2 prior to this driver would run 60fps no hiccups, now it's barely running 20fps with quad sli. When I disable quad sli the performance doubles an no more fuzziness.

Hmm... have you tried using nhancer to make sure that the games are properly set to use 4xAFR? If that doesn't work, it might just be a glitch with quad sli and those games.

Looks like it is definately a glitch. when i disable quad sli, sf4 is a constant 60fps.

Why cant nvidia get this right????

I checked nhancer and all profiles are set to 4 way afr.

I am experiencing poor results too.

I'm using a GTX 295 and a GTS 250 (Physx)

JC 2 - left side of glasses are dark.
Metro 2033 - runs pretty good in Very High in DX 9 but stutters when using DX 10
BC 2 - It's ok but I doubt I'm not getting 60 fps. (I understand I am not quad sli)

When playing these games in 3D, even the slightest hiccup makes me fell like my PC is not good enough for what I want. I've never experienced problem like this until we started having all of these driver problems.

I have noticed even more issues now. BC2 at first i though was working perfect, but loading it up again it is fuzzy just like mw2 and metro 2033. The text is that fuzzy that you can barely read it. When i disable quad sli that fuzziness goes and the picture is peerfect.

BTW this fuzziness in quad sli is only with 3d enabled, otherwise in normal 2d mode it works perfect.

Can someone from nvidia plz look at this....

ok i have done alot of testing now and can conclude 100% that there is an issue with quad sli and the following games when 3d is enabled;

SF4
Dark Void
Pure
MW2

the frames are like 20 and as low as 5. Before these drivers i was getting 60fps without a bump. Now i disable quad and fps are 60 or close to.

I fixed the fuzziness that i was getting. I forgot to put my monitor on 120hz in the nvidia control panel.

BC2
FC2
RE5
Batman
Tomb Raider
Dirt 2

are all working perfectly with quad sli performance, finally!!! BUT there are still the issues with the games mentioned and no doubt there will be more issues with other games. Im certain its a driver profile error. I installed the 1.20 cd just to make sure it wasnt hardware and all the games im having issues with are working perfectly. So i can conclude that it is the profiles in 1.23, i dont know what nvidia has changed in them.

Also Just casue 2 is still not working with sli, the left eye lense is completely black.

Andrew if your reading this please respomd and take some action to get this rectified!

dark void is working fine on my system. only issue is the menu screens are really laggy (not a issue with the last drivers)- its hard to select the proper buttons. game play is great still.

I never actually went into gameplay when I tested dark void in quad sli because the menu was running at 5 fps. Is that what happened with u also? What about any of the other games I mentioned, are you able to test them dude?
