Quad buffered stereo shutter glasses and 120 Hz LCD
We had a fully working stereo setup with a CRT monitor ( Viewsonic P225f) and Crystal Eyes 3
shutter LCD glasses , Till last week everything worked great .

Then our CRT monitor dies and we purchased a new LCD 120Hz capable
monitor .. the viewsonic VX2265wm (FuHzion)

I am trying to get stereo 3d working with the latest nvidia driver
x86_64-185.18.14
The Infra-red box emitter LED lights up and the crystal eyes shutter glasses
flicker..but things seem all un-stereo and messy
Here is my setup

Monitor : Viewsonic FuHzion VX2265wm 120Hz
Graphics card: Quadro FX 4600
OS: Ubuntu Linux X86_64 - Hardy Heron 8.04
Stereo glasses: Crystal Eyes 3 with 3pin mini din connector ( using
with Option "Stereo" "3" )

Any ideas on whether this hardware will work and provide stereo? . .
Thanks for your help in advance

I don't know for sure, but are the 3d drivers even compatible with other shutter glasses? /ermm.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ermm:' />

Greetings. I'm having the same experience here at UC, Riverside (same monitor and shutter glasses system). We were running in Windows XP x64. I observed that the monitor refresh rate setting was locked at 60 Hz vertical. If you've found a solution or workaround, please do share.
