I hate typing so sometimes I probably don't go as far as I need to prevent my posts from coming across as blunt. Anyway, you seemed to be saying that eye strain is caused only by shutter flicker. My point was simply that that can not be because eye strain was a common complaint in 3D movies which use passive tech.

If it were due to the convergence wouldnt that be easily fixed if the film makers would Use only fixed convergence ?
