Rise of the Tomb Raider 2016 - 3D Vision Fix
Hello guys, I tried many solutions to play this game in 3D with this fix but they do not work. I don't know if it's me or a recent Nvidia patch. I change the profile of the game and the version, I put the files in the right directory but it does not work. Pure hair are at wrong position and some vignettes or lights are not fixed.I tried many times. The official patch is quite good but is not perfect. Have you tried recently with drivers 365.19?
It requires a SPECIFIC version of the game for the FIX to work! It works just fine on 356.10 driver. Don't know about 356.19, but is definitely NOT a driver problem... If you are having problems with the current drivers, try the drivers recommended in the fix description as well.

I don't have the game yet (and possibly won't for many months at least), so I haven't been following this thread constantly. Is the problem of the game version that a lot of shaders have to be dumped and fixed again, or is it something else? There were many bug fixes since the mandatory build for the community fix, and it would suck getting stuck in the game or something due o an old bug. I suppose this is the problem: "- Generating & Extracting ALL the SHADERS in ALL LEVELS and all discoverable locations, finding all the collectibles to generated their shaders AND applying the above fixes - Helifax (This is where the massive amount of time went into)" Extremely frightnening for any shader fixer if that has to be repeated :(.

If they do remove it... Then yes the fix needs to be made from scratch... and I don't think anyone else (except me) was crazy enough to spend 200-300 hours in fixing all the shaders the game dumped;) I made a steam backup in any case;)

Edit: I succeedded ^^ I forgot to press the F11 key to change 3D modes, lol. But the game needs a lot of memory.

what does the extended runtime means ? does the engine compile the shaders before main menus or is the actual gameplay loading the one that takes a long time ? Im just trying to pinpoint why i can´t get the game to run with the fix. without it works so it´s propably no driver problem ? "Without the latest driver, the game will crash:( So, sadly yes:(" this current drivers then, what were they ? i have 365.10 Should i have stereo tweak, stereoConvergence, StereoCuttoff and StereoRagsDX10 under stero in tombraider profile ? I deleted the original profile and imported your nip and inspector says imported succesfully but there is not any of those flags in the profile. Is the profile succesfully imported ?

If the game doesn't start with the patch then something else is wrong on your machine. Did you revert your Nvidia ROTTR Profile to Default? The latest version of the game "messes" with the nvidia profile. You need to revert that one to default for the fix to work.

Don't know my friend :( It takes some time initially to load the shaders but you should see the screen with the logos and few minutes later the Main Menu.

SOlveD .. Clean installed the same drivers i currently have 365.10 did not delete the tomb profile, just imported the profile provided with inspector. Got the game running but it did not look spot on so i thought somethings not right. I used the geforce profile export/import tool and manually changed the code. Game kicked in and loaded pretty fast. hit the compatibility key and VOILA. Looks Awsome. man you guys are wizards ! Is my framerate how expected (980ti) ? ...first scene at the mountains about 30ish ? did not check with software but you can tell it ain´t pretty high. AA off and purehair. any advice to bump it up, or is the first scene just so heavy ? ....hmm... upped my gpu a little bit and it´s above 40 and and after the start between 40-60.. closer to 60 so it´s propably about right. Who said it´s visual porn ? Man you were right.
