How to fix/disable shaders in games(DLL,guide and fixes).

Since I made this post by accident i will use it =)
@arioch
Whenever origin updates it takes away that setting =*(
That problem is gonna make tons of fun posts when me3 comes out.
I can taste it.''This item will be available to download on March 2, 2012 at 10:00 AM (US/Pacific)''
You know your obsessed when you are excited about preloading....or bought two copies for exclusive dlc....or added 40 bucks into dlc account....I have a problem.

FYI - there is a new update to Origin today and after it updated for me, Amalur would crash upon start. Turns out it turned back on "Enable Origin games" in the Origin settings section. Once I disabled it again, the game launched just fine.

this is youngneil1 from insidetwoworlds.com - just wanted to thank you (again) BIG TIME! Seems the world of modding is smaller than the internet makes it sometimes appear and I consider myself blessed to share interest in some of the same games as you do :). It's always a pleasure to be able to use your oustanding work - be it groundbreaking modding tools (Two Worlds 2) or here a method that revolutinizes the possibilties for using 3d vision!

Ok well its working with the debugger. I can even see that the different hud elements are at different depths.
Unfortunately this causes mad ghosting because different elements cannot be converged at the same time. In fact this game is ghosting horribly. I'm going to check with my Edimensional glasses and see if that fixes it.

Try installing 1.02 since thats the version he worked with. Then try alternate releases.http://helixmod.wikispot.org/oldvers
I got to download a pirated copy cause I "used up all my installs" /ermm.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ermm:' /> Yea... Will take me a while to see if I have same problem.
He used debug for pictures so its possible he didn't try any release.

@Arioch - thanks for the heads-up, also noticed an option to hide BF3 Beta finally!
@oracletriplex - grats and good job on your Mirror's Edge fix! I remember that game made me a bit queasy when I first tried it in 3D when I first got my kit, maybe it'll be better now after I've gotten used to it with some of your fixes.
@eqzitara - you should contact EA/Origin about that install # issue. I spent 15 mins semi-afk on online chat with them and got Crysis, Warhead and Mass Effect digital versions added to my Origin account. They just check and deactive your old retail box key instead of adding more installations to it. They only do this for games made before 2009 or so that can't be activated directly through Origin or their EA portal.
@everyone - added a bunch of games to the wiki (thanks again to eqzitara for his work setting it up), some fixes, some half-fixs/WIPs. Will post links to them some time tomorrow... here's main link: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/

Wow, Fallout series been done !!! Great news. How is it that suddenly many more fixes are being done? Is it because many games have nearly the same issues, thus requires minor changes to ShaderOveride. Looking at posts it looks like the big issues with most games are HUD and skybox yes?

Had did you fix the issue? Ty for reupload onto ftp. Was just about to do it but saw you did. ty
@thrawn73
Solutions to code can often be applied. Issue is the same/engine is the same. More often then not its probably both needed.Sometimes similiar issues can be fixed simply by converting it over. Like if we see a coding fix on me3. Me2 stuff can be fixed definetly.
If we see a fog/lighting fix: unreal engine games can probably be fixed.
Sorta like that. Basically its whomever does fix learning how helix made a fix then adapting it to said game.(No. Its not as easy as I make it sound.The coding I did above is baby steps in comparison to shadows.)

dcl_position v0
dcl_color v1
dcl_texcoord v2
dcl_2d s0// declaration of stereo texture sampler
dcl_position o0
dcl_color o1
dcl_texcoord o2.xy
dp4 r3.x, v0, c0//change output register for temporary register
dp4 r3.y, v0, c1//change output register for temporary register
dp4 r3.z, v0, c2//change output register for temporary register
dp4 r3.w, v0, c3//change output register for temporary register
texldl r1, c220.z, s0// retrieve values from stereo texture
// as we just moving hud at constant depth we don't need convergence here (ObjectDepth(w component) - convergence) = c220.x
mul r1.x, r1.x, -c220.x// multiplicity Separation * c220.x
add r3.x, r3.x, -r1.x// correct output vertex position
mov o0, r3 // mov from temprary register to output
mov o1, v1
mov o2.xy, v2

Hey Helix(666) :),
this is youngneil1 from insidetwoworlds.com - just wanted to thank you (again) BIG TIME!

Hey youngneil1,
Glad to see you here.
I hope you will find my new tool useful and maybe will join us and help fix some games :)

Had did you fix the issue? Ty for reupload onto ftp. Was just about to do it but saw you did. ty
@thrawn73
@coders
Added code that I written above to wiki. And chizs vertex shader: increase transparency guide @ http://helixmod.wikispot.org/How_To_Make_Your_Own_Fixes
TIME TO PRELOAD ME3 = )
