3D Vision Glasses have oily colours like petrol colour in the sun.
I held my glasses up in a light and I noticed there was an uneven oily unremovable colour on the glasses. It covers nearly all of the glass you look through from the inside. Is this normal or is something wrong with mine?

You probably took the glasses off and dropped them in the drool left on the desk after using it for the first time. ;)
I guess you're either looking at the polarization filter ON the glass, or the liquid crystals IN the glass, nothing special really. I've had a digital watch where you could also see that - in sunlight and using the right angle.

I have the same thing in my glasses and they work great. I think your safe to assume it is on all of them.

Try looking at a mobile phone or ipod screen through the glasses... You get the same texture, but it looks like its on the ipod / phone screen :P
