No hype for Vermintide 2 yet, eh? (fix not working due to EAC)
  3 / 10
I tried to install this fix by copying it over my Vermintide 2 folder in steam. I have tried the main Folder and some subfolders. With seemingly no effect. When I hade copies of the unziped fix in most folders (trunk and binaries and binaries_dx12 and Launcher) it crashed. Could you please summerize how/where to install the fix? Do I need more 3rd Party Tools? The screenshots look so good. Thanks for your effort.

Dangit, I was looking forward to actually playing this tonight, and instead I spent the whole night refixing it... well, half of it stayed fix thanks to using regex, and the other half I hadn't done via regex (figured they were mostly inconsequential stuff... not so much). Well, thankfully I've gotten nearly everything fixed via regex now, so everything should stay fixed this time. Only thing that isn't done via regex is the moon because the shader doesn't have any distinguishable pattern to it, and I fear doing that will break more than it fixes. No matter, that's a pretty small thing to need to update should the need arise. I also finally got around to fixing god rays. They are so subtle in this game that it was hard to tell they were broken. I also added another couple of toggles. One for vignette, which I have disabled by default, can reenable it by pressing ctrl + ]. Another is for the outlines on players/enemies/objects, in case anyone wanted to have a bit more control over whether they are on or off. Currently set to the [ key, but that might be useful to change to something else that you can turn on/off as desired. Releasing as a final WIP before putting it up on the blog, figured I'd give us all a chance to play test it first to ensure no issues arise with this update. Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/cwmds5sp7wn0ntl/Vermintide%202%20fix%20v0_91.zip @LukePC1: Sorry, I didn't mention that you need to extract the files to the \Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries\ folder. In general you need to extract fixes to the location where the games .exe can be found.

Ahh thanks a lot for the quick update, hope that's the last time you have to touch it. Personally I will be leaving the outlines on I find it too hard to track my team mates in the higher difficulties (especially with friendly fire) Play testing now =)

Thanks for the fix DJ-RK. I have the first game in my wishlist for a long time and couldn't decide to buy it because they are co-op and multiplayer focused. Does any of you played first one and this one fully in single player and how was it? If both are good in single player then I'll buy them.

They are both really good games , but they are not single player games at all. That said you can possible play them through at least on the lower difficulties with the bot companions Btw haven't seen any problems with the fix so far thanks alot.

If anyone is as stupid as me and nothing is working in VT2: Change to DX11 in Settings in the Launcher. Then some 3D shows up as I was used to. And then the provided Fix works. 2 bad I checked like every other Fix before. And completed all levels before finding out :-( Thanks for the Fix and making me hope to even try and find out eventually :-)

Oh, yeah, sorry for not pointing that out earlier. I take for granted that most of us are seasoned vets with knowledge that 3DMigoto is a DX11 only wrapper. I'll be sure to mention to not use DX12 when I post my forthcoming update/final release to the blog soon. (now with screen space reflections fixed and 3D crosshair (finally)!)

Use the default V2 profile, no need to change. In fact, probably very similar profiles anyways, so likely wouldn't matter either way.

Nope, should be crystal clear at any depth. Did you extract the zip file to the same location as the game's .exe file? I think that's in the Vermintide 2\binaries\ folder (not at home to double check). Oh! You probably have Depth of Field or Anti Aliasing set to TAA, whereas you need DOF to be turned off, and Anti Aliasing set to FXAA or off.

Yeah that's motion blur, DOF or TXAA. Things that only take away from the visual quality of the game anyway imo. DJ-RK you know this game is getting another 8 maps or so next month right, hopefully it doesn't create a hell of alot more work for you.

Is 0.91 from post #10 the latest version of the fix?

At the present time, yes. I was planning to post up an updated build to the Helix blog site today, however "life happens" and I was pulled away from my home to handle an emergency situation, and no longer can do so today. Fortunately the .91 does roughly equate to the percentage complete and is perfectly playable in the interim. The update will add fixes for screen space reflections (which can be turned off in interim) and a few other minor effects, and also add an auto-depth crosshair (current version just uses a static value, which was perfectly fine for the most part), otherwise nearly everything else was fixed in the last release. I'll see about getting to doing the blog post in the next day or so.

Now it happened to Vermintide 2 too! EAC stops game from loading, when using the 3d fix by blocking the d3d11.dll!!! I already sent a complaint to EAC for Far Cry 5 and now I reported the "bug" to Fatshark also. So sad. :-(
