Hi peeps,
I have recently upgraded my monitor so I can start 3d gaming but I am having problems with, what I assume is, convergence (could be cross-talk or ghosting?).
As soon as I add any depth to any game I get two strong images, by adjusting convergence I can focus the near screen object i.e. Rico Rodriguez in Just Cause 2 or the car in Dirt 3 - looks great, but increasingly the background becomes more separated the further back you go. Is this normal? or am I missing something?
I am using a Nvidia GTX 295, an Alienware OptX AW2310 and Nvidia 3d Vision Kit 2.
I have tried following specific game settings to improve 3d performance, which got Dirt 3 working at all, but I still have major convergence (cross-talk/ ghosting issues?)
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated, as I can see what could be achieved but am unable to really enjoy it?
