Is 1 gtx 480 enouph for max performance in 3d vision or 2 GPU is needed ?
I'm plannig to have a 3d vision kit and i preordered a EVGA gtx 480 superclocked??? but I'm wondring will the performance be ok with one GPU or do i have to put 2 GPUs for the new games to run fast with maxed settings. ??? and if two in which are will be the difference in performance?? and will the different have a big impact on the nVIDIA 3D Vision???

Performance will be good with one, but in 3D you will maybe still have some games that might dip into the 20 - 40 fps range if you have your graphical settings turned up really high and at a decent resolution. Two will help maintain a consta 60 fps big time; althrough you may not be as susceptible to being bothered by low frames as some.
Thing is, and I don't experience it much tbh, but some people have problems with sli in 3d ... even worse with tri or quad ... may want to wait until some of us here have them and can report our findings.
thanks dud...... but if the frame rate drop to 20 or 40 will it affect by having some ghosting issues or only slowing dow the speed of the game???
Performance should be about what I get with the 295 (better min FPS I supposed ) so most games you can play fine.
When my FPS drops I do not see any ghosting but I am on a DLP just in case.

Not ghosting, from my experience, but may slow the game speed / mouse speed down a bit depending on what game.
