Problem: I upgraded my PC...i7-2600K, Win 7, GTX560. *Same TV*. *Same cables*.
1. When 3DTV Play is finished installing, it tells me that my tv is not a 3DTV. This is the same TV that worked last time.
2. After that, the setup of 3D Vision then comes up asking me to setup the IR transmitter for 3D vision.
There is no 3DTV Play logo in the nvidia config panel.

When I was trying to install it, I rebooted at least 10 times (I have an SSD and boots take 10 seconds). It didn't work. When I saw your post, I figured, what the heck, I'll try it again, and this time it did work. Maybe it has something to do with Windows updates? When I tried to install it before the system had yet to update.

Can you provide us with more info? Which driver version are you using? Which driver were you using before with your Geforce GTX 460? If you are using our latest 270.51 driver, does reverting back to the previous Geforce GTX 560 driver resolve your issue?

Thanks for the update. We will try to reproduce this issue in house. In the meantime, I need additional questions:
1) What model Samsung HDTV do you have?
2) What length HDMI cable are you using?
3) Is the HDMI cable going through an audio receiver?
4) In the NVIDIA Control Panel, when 3DTV Play is not shown, if you go into the "Set up multiple displays", does your HDTV make and model appear corectly?
5) Does changing the screen resolution have any effect on this problem?
6) Do you have any other displays attached?
7) Are you using a paid version of 3DTV Play? Trial? Or do you have a 3D Vision Emitter attached to get 3DTV Play?

I am not sure why it worked before. It is not a supported display at this time:
Even unsupported displays are supposed to work with an override. I realize you don't have to help me becuase of the magic "unsupported" word, but there is something going on here that has nothing to do with my tv, which works just fine (or at least it used to work just fine). You can help me now, or you can help me once you add my tv to the supported list. If you help me now you'll have a head start, because I'm sure I'm not the only person this is going to happen to.

We've been trying to reproduce this on other 3D HDTVs without any luck. I think this problem is specific to the fact that your HDTV is not officially recognized by 3DTV Play software.

I just submitted my report. Incident number 110401-000196
If this is because of my TV, then why did it work on my old PC but not this new one? Also, if this were the case, wouldn't an override like Rollermod take care of that?

Problem: I upgraded my PC...i7-2600K, Win 7, GTX560. *Same TV*. *Same cables*.
1. When 3DTV Play is finished installing, it tells me that my tv is not a 3DTV. This is the same TV that worked last time.

There is no 3DTV Play logo in the nvidia config panel.

We can't fix your bug if we can't reproduce it. Please provide as much details as possible including specs, steps to reproduce, graphics settings used, etc..

I just submitted my report. Incident number 110401-000196
If this is because of my TV, then why did it work on my old PC but not this new one? Also, if this were the case, wouldn't an override like Rollermod take care of that?
