It amazes me that WOW is a game that Nvidia has let go to crap as far as support goes. I mean if you're going to make sure any one game works, wouldn't WOW be that one game?

I just stepped on the 3D Vision wagon and the only thing I notice is that after ALT-TAB'ing or restarting the game the UI is garbled. That can be fixed by toggling and applying the 3D stereo mode. Kind of messy though.

The OP is actually migrating from a thread on WoW, which has been described within the thread as the world's premier program.
They have experienced problems with their setups and new drivers.
They scream and wail in loud lamentations as to how the new drivers suck, nVidia sucks and now they find it totally unbearable to even try to exist without the game.
But that's not enough, so now one of them wants to start yet another bitch topic.
Apparently they've all forgotten, according to that thread's title, that they are sitting on a "flawless" driver that they don't want to use becuase it must be made from last month's roll-over or something, I don't know...

jaafaman, you use proper interpunction; you know better :)
It does appear pretty weird to me that it is taking NVIDIA so long to fix this one. If I'd play WoW on a regular basis I'd be frustrated too by those obvious UI bugs.
But I'm used to amBX hardware, which can almost fry your system in case of a bad driver ;)

And, calmly, I view this as perhaps just a change that doesn't suit them.
The biggest complaint in the thread is the lack of depth that used to be available, not that it doesn't work. Perhaps time and the addition of a few more games proved this a necessary range adjustment, maybe the huge list of "fix" tickets doesn't have this one on the top of the heap yet, or maybe they're having trouble with the fix itself.
We don't know what the problem is and yes - it's because this is usually an ih-house thing and doesn't get broadcast.
Like most situations of this nature, though, the lack of information leaves a considerable vacuum - which the posters seem to fill in quite their own manner, and quite publicly vocal.
And very few of them would bring any degree of this hostility to a face-to-face meeting with anyone for fear of spilling blood.
Folks react in kind to how they're greeted and how they're introduced and how they're treated on a regular basis...

It does appear pretty weird to me that it is taking NVIDIA so long to fix this one. If I'd play WoW on a regular basis I'd be frustrated too by those obvious UI bugs.
But I'm used to amBX hardware, which can almost fry your hardware in case of a bad driver ;)
And, calmly, I view this as perhaps just a change that doesn't suit them.
The biggest complaint in the thread is the lack of depth that used to be available, not that it doesn't work.
