Hi,
I used the helix mod with all the fix and tweaks using the CTRL + ALT + F11 to disable CM and use real 3D but I have a problem cause I have too much separation or no 3D at all, Converge doesn't work.
If using too high depth then the Aim is getting doubled and hard to aim. for example hitting someone have double XX like inside each other.
Any suggestions ?
Using 344.75 cause 347.09 is buggy.
Thanks

I think someone else had an issue like that on the [url=http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2014/11/call-of-duty-advanced-warfare-dx11.html]page[/url] and reinstalled drivers and reset(?) 3D Vision settings ... I'm guessing he meant a clean reinstall of drivers.
[quote=Anonymous]Thanks for the quick patch but... Correct me if I am wrong but the difference is just in separate depths for gun and world? The whole world is rendered with the same depth regardless of depth/convergence amount. If so any plans to improve this?[/quote][quote=Anonymous]Sorry for the late answer, just did update drivers and reset 3D Vision settings. After that I can adjust depth/convergence to achieve fair 3D with your patch. Anyway, playing this game in 3D does not work well, like for the most of FPS (-: But it is not your fault for sure. Nevertheless great job![/quote]

Did he use 347.09 or which driver ? I did like 4 clean with DDU and normal uninstalling from safe mode. excluding the 347.09 3D issues already.

How can I take screenshot to show you the problem ?
Everyone suggest the wrong things.
It works but it's not doing 3D well. All others games work properly.
This is all the pictures,
two of them have high converge, you can see what is happening, everything has high seperation

It seem to work ok now without issue with 3D, but I want a bit more 3D depth...
I think I used Depth 11% and Converge 3% or 0% I can't even tell.
Does this 3D seem ok like everyone else ? can anyone make photos to see if it's the same ?
where does it save the settings when I click CTRL + F7 , for example if I reinstall the drivers, how would I know which depth or settings I used before, because we can't remember all games depth %

Please add your pictures to forum here. Use the paperclip icon in the top right corner of your post to add them. You can add the .jps file directly. You can only add them After the post is live. Alternatively you can rename files to .jpg and use any picture sharing site, and use the img tags.
(Going through other download services and all that jazz is too much trouble.)
To take the pictures, you use Alt-F1, and they show up in Documents\NVStereoscopic3D.IMG\
Be sure that the advanced settings are enabled in the stereo control panel, and when the game is running, bring up the help text with Ctrl-Alt-Ins.
To use this fix, you need to disable Compatibility Mode using Ctrl-Alt-F11, and that text will let you know what mode you are in.
Driver 344.75 should be OK here.

They used to be saved in %UserProfile%\Documents\NVStereoscopic3D.LOG\*, well they kind of still are but it doesn't seem to load them from there if you edit them.
As far as the fix goes, I'd make sure it's installed properly and that you're using it properly and if you've made any CM profiles for the game that you delete them ... I couldn't find any Separation(or Convergence) settings in the d3dx.ini that could be overriding your global settings.
As far as the crosshair goes, I don't have the game but I'm pretty sure it's not dynamic so it'll never be perfectly set on an enemy putting it into depth is much better than at screen depth obviously but you may have to tweak it like DHR said on the fix's page(http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2014/11/call-of-duty-advanced-warfare-dx11.html) by editing the d3dx.ini to either add or remove depth to your own liking.

But it says it's not in Compatibility mode, I try to click Ctrl + Alt + F11 and it doesn't change anything, it says rating : something and nothing about Compatibility On or Off, that's what bogus me about the 3D fix, I know it should be True 3D but it doesn't say so in the profile.
There nothing it says about Compatibility or 3Dvision mode. that's the thing I am trying to tell you. Yes, I copied the files to the game directory where the file is, yes I disabled everything needed HBAO and all the rest .
Ctrl + Alt + F11 doesn't change anything in the Ctrl + Alt + Ins, it says the same even after using Ctrl + Alt + F11.
It doesn't say it's on CM mode On or Off, and it doesn't say it is on 3D vision mode On or Off.
Profile : Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare
Rating : not been rated.
Some objects rendered at wrong depth. Some effects rendered incorrect.
For example, Far Cry 4 with 347.09 said Compatibility On and Off. But I'm using now 344.75.

Yeah, I have to agree those screenshots like crap and I'm on a 65" screen, like s1_sp64_ship02_50 for instance the ammo readout on the gun is at screen depth and the text/HUD is at about half of your maximum depth, which isn't much at all ... Ctrl+F4 isn't changing depth at all for you? Without your glasses on the sky/infinity plane should be approximately the distance between eyes(IPD), on my 65" it's barely half an inch.
Edit:Yeah I don't know, looking through DHR's screenshots on 3DVisionLive for the game(linked on the fix's page) the cutscene ones look halfway decent but all the ones with the gun, the gun's painfully popping out but the ammo readout isn't aligned with it.

That's when I'm using Convergent , is everything except the 2nd is looking good like it should , like 3D vision ?
Even when it's not saying CM On/Off , what does it mean for me ? does it use 3Dvision ?
I purposely made 2nd screenshot with a lot of convergent just to show you I can't change it much or at all cause it move the whole screen off, means I can't use Convergent at all.

Thanks for those shots. They look mostly OK, except for the very high convergence, and fairly low separation.

That's using the true-3D mode, if the profile does not have specific support for CM, it will be true-3D. When it says not-rated, that means it's a default profile of some form, and no CM. Also, CM won't enable from ctrl-alt-F11 on a profile like this.
I would make the convergence a lot lower so the gun is not coming out of the screen, and breaking apart and making it hard to view. Ctrl-F5 lowers convergence. It can be slow, like 30 seconds.
Then, put the separation up higher. Ctrl-F4. It shows on on-screen indicator for how much depth/separation is active. Put it up a lot higher, for better 3D effect.
Generally you want high separation, then a bit of convergence.
It's not completely sure that the fix is engaging. Does the screen look different when you uninstall.bat the fix?

Sure hope bo3b doesn't mind me answering ... :)
Separation is just another word for Depth, the separation of the back plane or the furthest most in-game object, like the skybox and Convergence is just the point that the 2 channels(L/R) or views cross.

I'm not sure if there was a different, but for example Crysis 3 using 3DTV worked fine with high Depth, other games worked.
If I move the Convergent even a bit than the shells, numbers on the gun, the red dot aiming when Right click, is moving too much at even 1%. Other games I haven't try because some games the convergent doesn't work at all or I just didn't test it with 3DTV cause I'm using Tridef. I feel sad watching people with 5k resolution playing a game while I play 720p , lol. Like Need for speed Rivals and DragonAge:IQ .
So using changing even a tiny bit of convergent make the aim impossible, so that's what I'm asking, are people able to change the convergent in this game without this happening to the gun or screen ? cause as soon as I ramping the convergent I see the aiming of the gun starts to move and I can't hit anything using right click.
using Depth from the nvidia control panel above 11% maybe give me a white double XX mark on hit, like there is a little X inside a bigger X.
how much Depth and Convergent were you able to use in this game using the 3DTV+ 3Dvision FIX+ 3D TV 720p60 ? try shoot someone and show us a screenshot of the hit mark when you say the numbers so we can compare if anything is different, I don't see if there is a way my TV or computer would do anything different except the game engine or maybe different version that you might use.
EDIT : I've found out the double X means headshot , lol ...........
anyway, here are some screenshots that I used to play right now, there are shadows issues inside buildings and on people faces on some places.
There are random places which lower the FPS a lot.

Thanks

Did he use 347.09 or which driver ? I did like 4 clean with DDU and normal uninstalling from safe mode. excluding the 347.09 3D issues already.

?
How can I take screenshot to show you the problem ?
Everyone suggest the wrong things.
It works but it's not doing 3D well. All others games work properly.

two of them have high converge, you can see what is happening, everything has high seperation

Driver 344.75 should be OK here.

... sounds like CM, which you said you aren't using but it sound like it might be ... but I'm really not sure because I really don't know what 'it's not doing 3D well' actually means.
... sounds like CM
... sounds like CM
Generally you use a universal Depth setting across the majority of your games, one that matches your IPD or the distance between your eyes.

Separation is just another word for Depth, the separation of the back plane or the furthest most in-game object, like the skybox and Convergence is just the point that the 2 channels(L/R) or views cross.
[MonitorSizeOverride][Global/Base Profile Tweaks][Depth=IPD]
