Conflict 3D vision with MSI Realtek HD Audio-Manager
Hello, I have something strange. Whenever I activate 3D vision in the Nvidia-driver I get a black screen for a few seconds and then it automatically opens the "Realtek HD Audio-Manager" and I get a question "Which device did you plug in? And I can choose between "Line In" and "Speakers rear", with the last option checked. When I press "OK" and close the window everything is normal again. 3D vision is activated. Everything ok. It's just annoying that I always get this question when I activat 3D-vision. (I have to turn 3D vision off sometimes because I get conflict in some VR-games). Does anyone know what the Audio-Software (I don't have a sound card but only onboard sound) has to do with 3D vision? Is there a conflict between the two and how can I solve it, so that the Audio-Software doesn't open when I enable 3D vision?

Try reinstalling the drivers using DDU. Also, if you do not use sound over HDMI, do not install Nvidia's HD Audio drivers, they are only for HDMI. You could also uninstall and reinstall your audio driver, in case it was corrupted somehow. Check you mobo site or you can always try the latest version from the audio chip maker that supports it's version.

But if I uninstall "Nvidia's HD Audio driver" will I have sound then through my speakers? I also don't understand why the driver is called "Nvidia..." when the software I described is called "REALTEK HD Audio Manager" from the company MSI...!? Sorry for being noobish ;-)

I don't know, will you? It's not like I have any clue as to what type of speaker setup you have and how they are connected to your PC. So you'll need to mention this information. If you are using your monitors speakers and have them connected via HDMI, then yes, you need Nvidia's HDMI drivers. But then I'd have to ask why in the duck, are you using those 3D monitors with a HDMI connection.
