"Nvidia 3d Vision Video Player" problem
I formated two weeks ago, and now I have installed "nvidia 3d vision video player v1.7.5" + the last community codec pack, but the player can not play any mp4 or mkv movie, always the same error about probably no installed a missing codec. I have tried installing klite codec pack, but the result is exactly the same. Not sure if there is a problem with my actaul Nvidia 358.50 whql driver and the Nvidia 3d vision video player. I can reproduce perfectly the same movies with BSplayer (freeware version) or Media Player Classic Home Cinema (64bit), so the problem seems to be related with Nvidia 3d vision video player configuration..., or maybe the driver.

This is definitely a DirectShow problem (AKA codecs) I would recommend installing K-lite codec Pack (Normal should be enough). Obviously, remove the current one first. Then it will work:)

Also, you should download and install the trial version of the actual Stereoscopic Player that its based on from www.3dtv.at it is more up to date and now includes an OSD (in 3d) while in full screen mode. In order for it to behave like the Nvidia licensed version and not trial, you'll need to replace the file 'stereoplayer.cst' in the new 3dtv.at's program folder with the one from the nvidia 3d vision player's folder. This way when it opens, it still uses the new core ui but will only allow 3d vision output mode, not all the modes that the software normally supports. Whenever they update the software you just install the new trial version and replace the CST again.
