Tilt your head left/right slowly [just a bit] and if it becomes more pronounced then its your display/glasses rather then game.
It might not even happen to you in game. You may play with a different brightness setting and you may have a larger display. If I look at a monitor picture I might see ghosting cause I am on a projector and seperation values are much greater. So if hes on a 22" and your on a 27" it may not be as noticeable.
------------------
Its on same engine/unchanged from Last Light. If you played Last Light then its at same level of support. Excellent Rating imo.

To unlock convergence with different setting for gunsights.
-Download/install 331.40 driver
-Install chiri's convergence unlocker [gunsight version] http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2012/11/dx9-11-custom-convergencedepth-bindings.html
-IF USING SLI. Add metro 2033/last light Redux to Metro Last Light profile with Nvidia inspector.
Look at hand watches of Artyom on many screens. Isn't ghosting there?
Anyway i really wanna to buy it, but i better wait someone who can bench it with original games lvl support
I'm not getting any crosstalk there either, rename the extension to .jpg and you can view the images in SBS(crosseyed) and see for yourself. :)
In 'metro19_85.jps' the flashlight looks way off ... and if there's no way to clamp down the convergence it's kind of game breaking not being able to iron sight/scope while aiming in this game, for me anyway ... :(
Any word on if it runs any/much better than the original?
edit:We could really use a setting to bind zero/low convergence for aiming now that NVIDIA's broken everything that used to work, with configurable timed(ms) and gradual transitions between the 2 states ... or auto-convergence, eg. a max 'pop-out' setting ... something, anything?
I tried to show screenshots in as many lighting situations as I could for the short time I had before bed.
I noticed that flashlight too, which is why I took a quick picture as it stood out.
AS for performance, I have 2 TITAN Z's so I cant really comment, however I did fire it up on my old rig which has 2x GTX780's and performance was shocking, this was with the settings in the screenshots. It was basically unplayable using MAX settings with a 4770K @ 4.6Ghz.

The flashlight problem sounds the same as the original game, where you'd only get that effect on Very High settings, and needed to drop down to High. That also fixed some bad reflections in 3D, and a strange tesselation problem outside.
For performance and stutter, PhysX was the big problem before. A dedicated PhysX card really helps this game.

For doing aiming override, you likely go back drivers as eqzitara suggested, although I think you need to go to 320.49 to use Chiri's unlocker. I think the 33x series of drivers is where they busted everything.
Also of note, I figured out how to get around that bogus driver change, so I'll be able to make Chiri's unlocker work on current drivers. I plan to add this to 3Dmigoto, as it's the same code, so you would run 3Dmigoto here to enable unlocking, but not need to patch shaders. I'll get to this, just haven't had time. In the meantime, best bet is to go back to older drivers.

Honestly, i never used Chiri's unlocker (just tried one time but drop it) and played and replayed with default convergence ^_^. Yes, game may be improved by increasing convergence, but default convergence lvl is pretty nice for good stereo effect

"performance was shocking" - Would you mind expanding on this? ("shocking" bad or good?)
While I have the 1st release 2033 and SLI780's I found the best quality/performance on my 720P projector was one step (or slightly more with custom settings) down from 'ultimate'.
Even in its non-redux form 2033 was able to push the limits of my rig even at 720P.

Dear all,
I'm in shock! What the hell the NVIDIA has done to their loyal customers! This game had the "king of the hill" crown between all nvidia's 3D Vision ready games. Now they made this game totally unplayable in S3D mode. I mean there's NO DEPTH feeling at all. Depth adjustment just adds more ghosting in bright areas of the rendered image and adjusting the convergence is not going to help. NVIDIA had rated this game in their 3D Vision profile as EXCELLENT but it's faaaar from it. The era of fake 3D is here and it seems that we can't do anything about it cuz the law of "profit" is present within all decisions around here. Once again we have to come down to our knees and swallow this "false advertising" thing down to our throat!
I even purchased this SWIFT monitor just for this game to enjoy it in 1440p in S3D, but now i think that the real S3D is in history for the new game titles.
I still have hope that new drivers will bring some light in the dark 3D Vision tunnel but that hope is alive at 10% only!
Just a big disappointment.

I don't know what you guys are talking about....
The game works more than perfectly in 3D Surround (Surround is also supported as the normal games) as well as 3D Vision on top.
The convergence lock is there though.
The flashlight problem ONLY appears in CERTAIN points and is NOT universal and is the SAME as the original game (3D Vision Ready game)
Now I will try to install older drivers to see if I can unlock the convergence like eqzitara said;)))
EDIT:
Unfortunately I cannot install 331.40 since GTX780Ti is supported starting with 331.65. However trying with 331.65 and Chiri's unlocker is a NO GO. I cannot change the convergence. Even if I remove it from an nvidia profile the convergence is locked...

Should this game be bought? Is stereo quality match original games?
So far, from what I see the level of 3D is the same as in Metro2033 and Metro Last Light. So, if you launch Metro Last Light without Chiri's unlocker you can get a GOOD grasp...
So far I definitely haven't SEEN any BREAKING effects and the 3D is definitely TRUE 3D not z-buffer calculations. (like the original)
I will play the game some more and will post anything I find;))
EDIT: Apparently the flashlight has problems when is intercepting fog areas. There it renderes with a higher convergence than it should.
Also, problems might appear if the Tessellation is set ABOVE normal. On normal everything should look alright.
I think motion blur can also cause some weird rendering in some cases (For example in The Chase mission (before chapter 2: Riga)).
