3D Vision - Trouble DP to DVI -> DVI to DVI from mother card possible ?
Hello,
I need your help to solve a little issue.
After changing my GPU for an RTX 2080TI (so without DVI output), I tried to connect to my monitor with a solution allowing me to use 3D 1080p60Hz.
Naively, I bought an HDMI to DVI-D (24+1) cable but after some investigation I understood it doesn't support 1080p120Hz so obviously, 3D doesn't work.
It seems I can buy an active adapter but I cost a lot and even with this I'm not sure at 100% that will work...
So my question is : what about using my IGP ? My mother card have DVI output, so can I enable double GPU feature in BIOS to allow output from IGP ?
Does it support 1080p120Hz or 3D 1080p60Hz ? Can I active NVidia 3D Vision without using main NVidia output ?

I'm pretty sure it has to be direct. An example of an indirect system is a laptop I tried that uses Optimus technology. This system goes integrated graphics before the GPU, and therefore 3D vision doesn't work on it. You could try the cable and take it back if it doesn't work.
I use a DVI-D to HDMI adapter plugged directly into my GPU. I have to use an EDID override to get 1080p120Hz to work, despite minor ghosting. It changes nVidia Control Panel from using 3DTV play to recognizing my TV as an Acer monitor. Maybe the override will help you, but you'll have to search for it online if you want to try it. I remember doing the same thing for an older monitor than yours and it worked.

Thanks for your answer but it will not help me since my current cable + hardware doesn't support this frequency at all.
For remind :
- output HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.3 or more support 1080p120Hz
- input (screen) only DVI support 1080p120Hz
- cable HDMI to DVI doesn't support 1080p120Hz
Theoretical requirement:
- DP to DVI Active Adapter
OR maybe solution to use IGP to use DVI motherboard output...
That's this last solution I want more information about.

You can not use the motherboard output.
You need an adapter capable of 300Mhz minimum.
We've had several users buy the active adapters powered by a USB port, there was one model that worked well, while the others had intermittent issues.

It would be a shame to use that RTX 2080ti at 1080P and not step up to 1440P or greater.
Money spent on that adapter might be better used on a new display.

But If I choose to buy a 3D monitor, it means also buying NVidia 3D Model.
And good 3D Monitor start at 500€.
Anyway, I saw this one: "Asus ROG Swift PG278QR"
But I'm not sure, if it's allowing Lightboost technology...

Note: These are old adapters for DisplayPort 1.2, which didn't have enough power to do the conversion, thus requiring the additional USB power input.
Display Port 1.3 would not need the USB input for additional power. There might possibly be an "active" 1.3 version available, when I looked a year ago, there wasn't.
