Recommandetion for 3D system
Hi all I purchased the PNY Quadro 2000D 1GB and I want to buy a computer screen which has the ability to to create 3D environments (using openGL). I'll use the 3D active glasses from Nvidia but I don't know which screen to buy (I want a 40 inch or larger). Any recommendations? Thanks

40inch? Wowza, that's not a computer screen. Thats a tv!! I can only advise the asusvg278h. Its only 27inch but great 3D quality (minimal ghosting). If you need super large, and moneys no option, how about the phillips super widescreen platinum? Ok its £4k, but with a 0.5 gtg its sure to be a blast! Also im 99% certain no tvs are nvidia 3D ready, so you will have to use your tv's glasses. Nvidia 3D requires dvi (which 99.99% of tvs don't have). You can only use 3DTV over hdmi.

You cant use Nvidia active glasses with TV. And there are no 40 inch 120Hz monitors. My advice: wait for Oculus Rift

You could just use a projector.

Thanks everybody! The screen is going to be used for a haptic augmented virtual reality (using Sensegraphics Phantom robots) so I need a big working space. I think I will go with a projector as suggested... Thanks!
