Thanks Masterotaku for fe fix ;) I have a strange problem, hopefully someone can help, when a play for a while the ir emmiter lost conection for a 2 seconds and revover, this happens very often and makes it unplayable. This happens more often in the menus. I test with SLI an no SLI (the same) I test with another emmiter, glasses and cable (the same) This happens only in this game.

Check the resolution and refresh rate you chose ingame. For some reason, the game sometimes changes resolution randomly for me after a PC reboot. Also, try alt+tab. I never had your specific issue.

@murdavs I remember i had this issue in the past. It was the power supply... When one especific game demands a lot of energy to work the 3d emitter turns unstable. Maybe the same issue is yours. (I had a 650w 80 plus, in a 5, 3t hdds, pc Now in a 900w 80 plus all is nicely smooth)

Depends on if you have a Multi- or Single-Rail PSU, the arrangement of your wiring and of course the manufacturer of your PSU.

Thank you, this fix is incredible! But the game is so frightening, I don’t know if I can stand it... ;-) The only strange thing is that I feel a bit uncomfortable when moving (especially when turning around ). I have indeed the feeling of wearing glasses with a bit too big dioptres and a kind of looking through a fisheye-lens. Strange because I have constant 60 FPS and play many 3D games (and even VR games) but in this one I get a bit dizzy after a while. But still the game is a blast. Thank you for the fix and for supporting 3D!
kind of looking through a fisheye-lens.
Because THERE IS a fisheye effect. That's what the F5 hotkey is for. Press it to have normal non distorted graphics. You'll notice that when that barrel distortion is in effect the crosshair will have wrong depth because the image has too much separation (it also makes the game look like lower resolution, especially specular reflections). I didn't disable this effect by default because I generally don't like forcing non default effects (the disabled compute shader is an exception). So as I said, press F5 :).

Is there a possibility for me to save the F5-option somehow, because I know that I will forget about the F5 button again some day... Haha, I have a memory like a goldfish! :-)

Open "d3dx.ini", go to line 93 where it says:
;Barrel distortion toggle. w=1
Change it to:
;Barrel distortion toggle. w=0
That's all. Then you won't be able to toggle the effect on ingame unless you invert the F5 hotkey. To do it, change the "w = 0" to "w = 1" at line 242, under the "[Key5]" section.

@Masterotaku: Just tried your 3D fix and Resident Evil 7 is a real new experience now! Wow! Really frightening. And I like that it's finally possible to disable barrel distortion. I think pretty nobody wants to play with this ugly looking effect so I would say it's ok if you set barrel distortion to off by default in your 3D fix.
