well i wish i had your talent then. you truly are gifted at doing this, really, you are. do you plan on releasing anything in the future? i'd definitely buy quality work that you're capable of doing. only question is which titles? :D
definitely keeping an eye out to see what you do though, need something cool to watch in 3d

I saw some of your posters at the market this weekend, they really do catch your attention.
Unfortunately, the guy only had the football ones otherwise I would have been really tempted to get one for the office.

Thanks for the kind words.
If you contact me directly and say you're from this forum, we might be able to do a deal. ;)
Have you looked at the full range on my website?
I'll be uploading more of these brief display movies in the next few days. I might also upload the title sequence from the TV series we're developing. It's a bit rough and ready, but it's fun.
KevinB, what did you use to generate the side by side video?
I used Stereo Movie Maker.
It's okay; a bit quirky.
For some reason many of the compression options it offers won't work on my main machine. I haven't tried it on any of the other machines in the office so I don't know if it's a problem with the utility or my computer.

Try installing the latest XviD codec and use it to compress the videos, compressing it with single pass, quantizer 2 to 4. This is needed in order to maintain the top image quality and achieve smaller file size.

Great advice. I shall try that.

Hmmm. Results not great. I still can't save out from my main machine, but I can from the Windows 7 3D vision machine.
The Xvid codec has been freshly installed on both machines but offers different menus on the XP and the Win7 machines. On the XP machine it refuses to save out. The output on the Win7 machine has the Shelby text changing colour (more precisely the shade of red) during the animation and at different times for each eye.
I can save out the left and right eye movies using different formats with better compression and without seeing the odd colour changes.
When saved side-by-side, the 3D posters sequence has the colours change during the transition from 2D to 3D! It seems to be the red which changes most. That isn't too surprising since it's the red channel that is hit hardest with the H.264 compression codec.
What I have tried to do is to make sure that the compression I use will be open to everyone. I was concerned that DiVX or Xvid might require a download for viewers.

Excellent stuff Kevin. I am viewing on a Samsung 2233 and I don't see any indication of ghosting anywhere. The 3D dynamic video is fantastic . I will follow with interest. Perhaps one day you will create this for shutter glasses as well !!

We all moan about the lack of descent 3D content around.
Keep up this excellent pioneering work.
Thanks to Bloody for the AVi compression.

This is more manageable than the first at only 10mb per eye.

This is the shiny Mustang I mentione din an earlier post.
I have provided it as a left and right eye pair because every time I combine them into one, the Shelby GT500 lettering starts to do odd things!

More after Christmas.
