Eldritch
I didn't get to play it too long but from what I did it looks great nothing's 'broken', graphically it's simple and blocky like MineCraft but there's something I like about it. My only issue was the crosshair was 2D, I'll look into disabling it later. The convergence was way too high for me ... I just dialed it back until the 'wrists' were 2D. All the text and pop up are 2D(at screen depth) which may be an issue for some but it's not really for me.
Update: Here's a more permanent fix for the 2D crosshair that doesn't require running uMod everytime you want to play, just extract the files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Eldritch and run the @RunMe.bat, it'll back up your original eldritch-textures.cpk(.bak), inject the fix using QuickBMS, and then cleanup after itself. https://www.dropbox.com/s/cz7vu42znymis6a/EldritchNoCrosshair.zip
Steam Page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/252630/ [s]Blink Bundle($5 tier):[/s] [s]http://blinkbundle.com/[/s] ... I'll try to upload images later if I have time, I haven't tried anything else in the bundle. I already wanted Mutant Mudds(on PC, have it on 3ds XL already), the Dev said [3D Vision] was something [they] would like to add in the future ... http://steamcommunity.com/app/247370/discussions/0/666827315893700256/ ... who knows if it'll actually happen or not though. And InFlux looks like it *could* be good in 3D(UDK) ...

I couldn't find a match on the Vertex Shaders, just on the Pixel Shaders and it's basically all the 2D stuff ... the HUD/Crosshair/Menus/Popups ... not sure if anything can be done with or not. Well since I wasn't having any luck using HelixMod to find/disable the texture, I found a different way to remove the 2D crosshair/dot using uMod(TexMod), using it's a bit more complicated than I would have liked(they really need to make a release version that just uses a dll, ini, and textures folder(better yet just a dll/package)) but I could actually figure out how to do it ... :) uMod(there's a newer version but I still like this one best for simple stuff like this) http://code.google.com/p/texmod/downloads/detail?name=uMod_v1_r44.zip How to use uMod: https://code.google.com/p/texmod/wiki/uMod @Open Texture/Package use this:(and update/reload if necessary(game's already running)) https://www.dropbox.com/s/42g4wwpydwcyoqe/Eldritch_T_0X11F6103D.dds the only issue is Eldritch crashes when you exit ... :/ (but it seems to save first)

I had a thought, I have no way to remove/fix shadows in Rayman Legends[has demo] which probably will be an issue for Child of Light. Is it possible you can look at it with texmod/umod. I have no idea how to use that stuff. No pressure if not interested. Only asking cause they are pretty good layered style 3D games.

You should post this game on Helixmod. So, do you have to run uMod before you start each game? I want to test this out on a couple of other titles.

There's a couple of videos on youtube showing how to use texmod. The problem with texmod is that antivirus software typically will flag and disable it. It also has problems working with games that are played through Steam. There's a few decent videos showing how to use it on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2KydzfwCtU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKHse9Smcw0

I personally don't like having to do this, especially after learning how to extract/inject the textures in Rayman Legends but I haven't found an alternate way to with this, yet ... I really wish uMod would work off of just a dll/textures folder.

Helix did it. Though I havent heard anything about it in a while. He posted pictures of a complete texture swap [I guess you could say model] from borderlands 2 -> Bioshock infinite.

I remember that, I think it's buried somewhere in the 'Confused' thread ... nope it was the 'project-3infinite' thread ... why do I get the feeling that Helix is going to eventually release something really really big? :)

*Shrug* TBH, that feature alone could probably revolutionize so much modding. Id actually be curious of that alone.

No doubt, especially if it's as 'easy' to use as the current dll, as far as dumping and being able to edit goes it's extremely user friendly to find and be 'able' to edit something, fixing it's a whole different story. I'd definitely be interested in being able to dump, edit, and use textures with it.

Update I figured out how to create a script to unpack/repack the textures using QuickBMS, trust me it sounds much easier than it actually was ... scouring the texture pack in a hex editor looking for little endian patterns and trying to figure out what they actually stand for ... Oy! :) ... anyway here's a more permanent version that doesn't require running uMod everytime you want to play, just extract the files to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Eldritch and run the @RunMe.bat, it'll back up your original eldritch-textures.cpk(.bak), inject the fix using QuickBMS, and then cleanup after itself. :) https://www.dropbox.com/s/cz7vu42znymis6a/EldritchNoCrosshair.zip
