though I'd still pass the game. Metro2033 is the only game that I cannot play beyond medium setting in 3D surround with my meager 670 4G SLI. I suppose Metro Last Light is more or less the same.
I finished Metro2033 prior to going into 3D surround, which was a great experience for me; but now I just cannot go back to single screen gaming anymore~
Might work. In the game article I gave above, SLI 670 is nicely high end, to where they even recommend turning on SSAA (2x screen size of 1920x1080 essentially).
That could be turned off for double the bits in stereoscopic. 3 screens will likely force you to High from Very High, and maybe no Tesselation, but that article goes to great pains to say that it is much more optimized than 2033.

I have to backpedal on my previous comments about dreamy perfomance. I'm getting very nice 60fps in 3D on max settings (minus supersampling which is unnecessary in 3d anyway). But I'm getting regular stuttering, even if I lower the settings. It seems only to have started in later levels, and seems to be a common problem for a lot of people.
I've reluctantly put this game on hold until a 4A and/or nvidia driver update (hopefully) fixes it.

And you have two titans = /
I had stutters in starting area even thoough I was riding 60 fps. So i also put to side... then comp troubles[unrelated]. 720P here.
From what I read its a bad SLI compatibility flag.

People say that fixes but introduces a lensflare issue [Which sounds terrible in 3D]
No joke but I would bet money if you turn off sli completely. You wouldnt stutter. Since your on a titan you may even get away with it.

Seems like now when I run this game it locks up, black screen, the first time and then it's fine every time after until I boot up again and it then it happens all over again.

I had the exact opposite problem. Worked first time, but then hung on startup every other time until reboot. I rolled back my drivers to 314.22, verified steam files and its fine since. I got the intro movie back, but I'm not removing that just in case. Not sure exactly what fixed it, but thats what I did and now it works every time.

I had the same problem. Switched back to 2D, played until the next Checkpoint, than back to 3d and could play without black screens.
Next day (=> after reboot) the same problem occured after some time. And the mentioned workaround did help again.

[s]I'm nearly certain that SLI is not working, as there is no perceptible difference between on/off.[/s]
Runs OK with a single GTX580, 1280x720@120, High setting.
Also, I was occasionally getting stuttering, and with SLI disabled I didn't see any stutter.
Edit: Less sure about SLI. With PhysX off, it definitely seems to scale up, and I see both cards active.
If helps....try this:
- Vsync off in-game options
- Vsync on in NVCP
Also removing/renaming the intro video produce that game hangs...so i have to put back....strange!
The game is amazing....have a bunch of bugs (even with the last update), but still gameplay and story rocks...there're some fantastic chapters....in ranger mode there are a few part that i have to play like 10 times to go furter in game....but average is not that hard.

I find myself reloading a checkpoint and playing certain parts over and over again, just because it's just so much fun and because there's so many different ways to go about your business, and the AI reactions can sometimes be hilarious (in a good AI way). I mostly go by the stealth route with my silenced pistol or arrow gun and that's how I would like to finish the game (unless there's no other choice), but sometimes I just go in guns blazing and just before the next checkpoint, I reload the checkpoint and continue with my stealth approach. There also seems to be various different routes you can take to advance, and these routes can vary a lot from one to the next so it gives this game a lot more replay value. I also love the pacing and how the scenery never repeats itself. One of the best games in years if you ask me (not to mention the excellent graphics and the almost flawless 3D, and the game seems to be very nicely optimized, especially if compared to the first one). If anyone finds a way to get some more depth beyond the max that the nVidia control panel setting allows, please let us know (I'm aware of and am using the Chiri's mod to unlock the convergence) because I could do with a little more depth (the 3D is still awesome as it is though).

Which vsync do you use? normal, adaptive, adaptive half refresh rate?
Totally agree Joohan... i also playing stealth (80% of the time), but also have my machine gun for extra fun. Some chapters are just amazing, all the detail around and monsters (water, air, land) that try to catch you.
With 100% depth and increase convergence i have a great sense of depth (without the mask)....with the mask the sense is reduced a little, i think is the feeling that you have with a glass in your face.
@chtiblue
Normal......i friend also tell me that "Adaptive" works great, but at least for me everytime i try it i have issues (tearing and stuff), so it's "Normal" for me (i use only for this game, not global).

I got that freezing on startup issue too, i solved it by changing my desktop resolution to 1024*768 before starting the game.
Hope this helps.
