Guys, I have the same interlaced issue as everyone else with the samsung 2233rz.
I realized it immediately afterI bought the monitor, but back then noone was mentioning the issues on the boards.
I believe too something is wrong with the monitor not being able to handle true 120Hz.
I find the horizontal lines to be very annoying when disabling 3D steoroscopy (crtl+T), but barely noticeable when playing in 3D with the glasses on.
Also sometimes when I quit a game, the interlaced issue shows on my windows desktop :S
Then I switch display to 60Hz and back to 120Hz, the interlaced pb goes away.
I have Geforce GTX 295, dual monitors, Windows Vista x64 and Windows 7 x64.

I've had this ever since i switched to W7. You can even bring up the monitors OSD and its settings will still be locked out. At first i thought it was non-profiled titles that did it, but it turns out otherwise. I've found running the 3d test and ending it gets me back to a regular 120hz desktop. Stopping the stereo driver service is simply not enough!

Hey thanks for the tip, works for me too.
The drivers are certainly to be held responsible for this particular issue.
Anyone tried the latest release CD 1.15 ?

Hi guys
Just bought a samsung 120 hz screen , and nvidia 3dvision glasses, not the bundle, two separate items.
I don't know if the problem i have is related to yours, but i have a f****n big horizontal line when 3D stereo mode is on.
Check this picture (bad quality, taken with my iphone) http://www.monsterup.com/upload/1257546952363.jpg
The screen is working perfect with 3D mode off, i tried different dvi port, another driver etc...
It's completly breaking the immersion, can't play with this , it's horrible.

Does the line stay with the screen or move with the glasses? Either way it does sound like faulty goods to me :(
Secondly are you using the supplied dual link dvi cable? Its very important you do for the 3d mode.

Just bought a gtx285.
The line is still there, so it's the LCD screen .
The first 233RZ i got (yesterday) got a dead pixel, now the white line, damn i'm cursed.
And just for the fun, the new gtx285 don't fit in my case, i'll have to cut the metal asap.
and yes i'm using the good dvi cable, if you try with a standard cable it show 'check signal' alert.

I switched from a CRT to ViewSonic VX2268wm yesterday. I can confirm seeing those horizontal lines when in 3D mode.
This happens regardless of the emitter being on or off. When starting games the montior displays "3D Mode" and thats where those lines appear.
Afte disabling the "NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D Driver Service" and then starting a game, the monitor will display "DVI" instead of "3D Mode" and the lines are gone.

I also have this problem with my setup.
Windows 7 + GTX285 + Samsung 2233.
I also get it when enabling the 3d stereo option in the nvidia console and after playing a game.
Afterwards, the horizontal lines appear and remain on the screen even when returning to the windows 7 desktop.
I don't mind it being in games because it isn't that obvious (to me) but when returning to the desktop and for example reading mails, it is absolutely annoying.
However, I found that changing the refresh rate to 100hz and back to 120hz restores image quality until I play another game (probably changing resolution will have the same effect).
I still don't know if it is the driver or the monitor, but the monitor in itself works perfectly fine in 120hz without the 3Dvision enabled/checked in the nvidia console. It only appears when playing a game with 3d enabled.
Hopefully Nvidia is able to solve the issue in an upcoming driver (if that is the problem, which I think and hope it is).

You can also clear it by running the 3d test app. Anyways, make sure you report this issue via http://www.nvidia.com/object/driverqualityassurance.html the more people that do this the sooner we can get this glitch fixed!

I purchased the 3D vision glasses with the Samsung 2233, and get the exact same scan lines. At first I thought it was just the shutter glasses until I took them off and found it was the display image itself. In some games it's not that noticeable, others it's quite obvious.
I wish I had of found this thread before I purchased it.
Hopefully the issue can be fixed by a driver update or a workaround.
