Why does nVidia Control Panel says 3D game list wrong? 3d v sion control panel games list not correc
hello.

in the control panel of nvidia , the 3d streroscopic, or 3d vision ,the game compatibility list.

it says " Carmageddon 3 TDR 2000"----> Excellent + no bugs reported

and Carmageddon 2 --->Excellent + bender error thing,

plus a long list of games.

why does it say this, and then i Carma TDR 2000 nor Carma 2 dont work in Stereo 3D.

why is this ??? who made this list in the control panel?? is it trustworthy? i guess there has to be some logic or sense to this.

Thanks

The list contains a lot of entries for the old generation of 3D drivers, which are long superceeded by 3DVision.

nVidia should most definitely remove those entries. I figure that the reason they don't do it, that noone has spend the time on checking which of the old games are actually working with the current driver and which aren't.

They should have started with a fresh list when introducing 3dvision. But of course there were older games that do work, and a longer list seems more impressive. Nevertheless I say they should build up a new list.
