Yes, those tiny rocks are using the same Shader-Texture than others stuff..so fixing it break others stuff, and are more stuff than those tiny rocks, so i left that way. It's very minor, because there are only for a few seconds on screen.
Awesome! Not a problem! I just wasn't sure if that is the normal way or not;) I also noticed that hunting the shaders down gave me shaders that were fixed, so wasn't sure what to do;) Hence the question :D

Finally playing this game and loved it. Thanks so much for the fix, it is amazing and doing a grreat job to increase immersion and increasing the beauty and the tension of the open world. I literally almost fell from chair in some scenes, I must stop sitting too close to the TV, horror is real. :) I need to restart the game several times occasionally as DHR stated because of texture errors, my current record is 4 times. :) But it's definitely worth it, so don't give up. :) My CPU shows its age in this one or the game is badly optimized. Anything above 1440p is mostly below 30 fps, 4K is around 20 fps. One of the rare games where increasing resolution effects CPU too much. This kind of experiences still surprise and amaze you and also make you understand the value of this awesome community and stereo 3D gaming again.

Resolution affecting CPU performance? Maybe it's resolution dependant LOD or something. I've read that the LOD setting helps with CPU usage. I'm waiting for Volta to play this game (and finish the first), so I hope I can reduce the bottleneck to a minumum.

I've tried disabling/lowering every setting, only setting made a difference is Ambient Occlusion and it increased only 2-3 fps at 4K. LOD setting makes no difference. I was planning to play this one after upgrade too, but I had to delay my CPU purchase at least couple of months.

An update for folks trying to play with 4K TVs (from 3DMigoto Upscaling feature thread): Upscaling now works with The Evil Within 2 too using 3Dmigoto-1.3.8, tried at 2560x1440 to 4K. I was playing at 3840x1440 before and now fps is much better. Don't forget to put game in borderless window and pressing F11 to switch to interleaved.
