i am using win7, press F7 the doa6 fix could enable 3d and all thing are right, but it can't show the green 3d rate massage,so i guess it not real exclusive full screen,or maybe it's my own misoperation. in you DOAXXV fix it's sure enable real exclusive full screen with Vsync, with green 3d rate massage

The 1.02 patch has fixed the exclusive full screen mode in the game's settings, so you should no longer need F7 to switch. If you are getting an excessive amount of glitches where some objects start rendering in 2D after just a match or two (this was fine for me on my 3D Vision monitor, but for whatever reason when I switched to using the projector it started hitting really frequently), try deleting these files:
Mods\3d-vision\physics sync.ini Mods\3d-vision\coin fix.ini Mods\3d-vision\In-game TVs.ini
These all include StereoMode=2 or mono resource copies, which I think may be racing with other threads creating other resources since the nvidia API we use to do this is not thread safe. Obviously deleting these files will break the effects that they address, but none of those are critical and it's quite playable without them. I'll look at serialising these in the next version of 3DMigoto to avoid this race, but that will likely be a few weeks out. I'm also planning to look at some performance improvements in the next version to reduce some of the stalls.

Thank You for Your answer. Because of the patch my issue with 3D Vision engaging is not relevant any more. Maybe it is a hardware issue? With SotTR almost everybody was able to use finally a workaround to prevent the 3D Vision on/off flickering. For me it did only work about 5% and I had to wait for the real game patch.
I know the game is rediculously overpriced, but we don't support the "special version" here.
A reason why I answered daspwan's question is the fact that I also started to use more and more "special versions" of games although I have bought them. I have experienced too often that a forced update (through Steam) broke the sound, the compatibility with my CPU, the trainers, gameplay mechanics and last but not least 3D fixes. Regarding the fact that Nvidia stops supporting 3D Vision we might be happy in the future if we have special "offline" versions of games. I wish we could ask the game hackers to remove system/driver checks in the future. But to make sure I don't support piracy. As it is said: "If You like the game buy it to support the developers" ;)

I have a question: Does anybody know, if it's possible to play the game in 3D-vision-surround (triple 1080p-monitors here)? In the game-options I can't find resolutions for triples, but I know that other games (Resident Evil 2 and Devil May Cry 5 for example) also had this problem and those games were fixed by the community. So I had a look at WSGF.org but none of the exe-files there was working for me. I downloaded a doa6.exe-file for example which was fixed for 3840x1080 because there was no file for my triple-screen-resolution (5980x1080) and I could even start the game and saw the start-screen (where the game asks you to press a button) being wider than only 1920x1080, so I thought it worked, but when I pressed a button it only reloaded the start-screen again and I couldn't get any further. Don't know if this is, because Steam maybe doesn't allow to replace the original EXE file with a modded one (for widescreen). Any ideas? The 3D-vision fix for one monitor is already awesome but in 3D-surround I think the game would look even better!

Absurd finding: I have played the game a while without any issues and as it was clear that the 3D migoto fix will be the way to go I renamed the provisional folder for the loader with the settings for DoA 6 to "Dead or Alive 6 3DVision Loader". When I wanted to start the game the next time with the loader it suddenly crashed at start. Finally I discovered that the game not only shuts down when the loader is placed in the game's installation folder but also when the loader is placed in a folder which contains "Dead or Alive 6" in its name! Besides from the 3D fix there is another fact why I finally can enjoy DoA6. I have played the game with an XBox 360 Controller and become desparate when trying to make the correct direction inputs with the horrible D-pad in the tutorial. This video showed me how improve the controller significanty: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBZVN9t9ztE Because of the issues I had with the controller I even had turned DoA 5 in a turned based fighting game ^^ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQJigsPKRrs

@darkstarsword, thank you very much for the fix, visually I am getting a perfect 3D picture but I seem to be getting a lot of stuttering during gameplay, and am not sure what my be causing it? Sometimes at the beginning of rounds the picture is still on the loading screen and the audio is ahead, then the picture will catch up. Afterburner is showing a solid 60 frames at all times during fighting.

v1.1 is out, which fixes all the glitches where the game would fully/partially switch to 2D and significantly improves performance: https://helixmod.blogspot.com/2019/03/dead-or-alive-6.html
