Why still hasn't Nvidia listed Samsung 3d Ready DLP as a Compatable display? Let's make a po

The LED based DLP TVs are definitely better than the lamp based in several ways and it's just too bad for the S3D gamers that they are no longer available.

Actually you pointed out something really interesting here! I calibrated the monitor during normal display using a hardware puck device (the i1 display 2).
Now as you point out the brightness is locked to 100 when you go into 3D mode. BUT, that brightness is definitely NOT 100% brightness as compared to 100% when not in 3D. So is it going to a preset level, or is it just displaying the wrong values when in 3D mode? From what I can see the brightness is no different when I change from 2D to 3D, so I think its just displaying the wrong numbers.
If you lower it in 2D, do you not find it lower it in 3D too?
Nah, it's definitely much brighter in 3D. I just tested your theory by taking a screenshot and comparing it to the same scene in game, and there's a huge difference. It even looks washed out in game by comparison. My monitor brightness out of game is 16 and it's very easy on the eyes for the screenshot I took.
Damn, and I just tried forcing the brightness with Nvidia's control panel, but apparently that doesn't affect 3D either. There's got to be a way to do it.
