what games were you playing and what resolutions were you getting in 3D.
remember you will never get more than 60fps per Eye with 3d vision

TF 2 Just runs bad in 3d... Something to do with the drivers I think. Also I think it is more based on your CPU speed. What chip are you using? how much ram?

Try to get the highest Reresh rate you can I had to use the original nvidia card and 3d drivers to keep my CRT at 120Hz something with the new drivers didn't allow for easy switching resolutions. Hope that helps. I really wish Nvidia would focus on keeping us CRT users happy since its way cheaper for people to use a CRT ($30) for a good 20+" monitor on craigslist. Than a $500 LCD or DLP monitor.

Im using Quad Core Q6600 2.4ghz, 4gb ram
to my understanding thats still a fairly good pc

The lowest res i can go is 800x600 @ 100hz

CRT is "out of business" thats why nobody is focusing on them, hell we should be happy its still supported

What kind of power supply you're using (brand, model, wattage, amperage)?
I doubt if it has anything to do with your CRT monitor, so I guess it could be something else.
You can also try overclocking your CPU a little bit and see if it makes any difference.

85hz is probably your problem, try whatever res at 100hz and see if its smoother. Also you should be able to overclock that cpu to well over 3ghz on stock which will definately give you a nice boost.

Well, seems your PSU's not the problem.
Try what Tommygunn777 advised. Somehow I missed it's a 3D Vision issue and that ain't my horse :">

Good luck rufee!

3d crosshair on or off? Source games have problems with the 3d crosshair usually/always?.
