If you had a 3D Vision emitter, 3DTV Play would be free.
Be sure to enable the advanced hot-keys.

Thank you very much D-Man11!!!!!
So, can you confirm that it's 'normal' that, without 3DTV Play, the 3D Test works flawlessly with my HMD but the games don't? That sounds weird to me... :(
Also, any link to a trial, to be sure of how it works before paying 40 bucks?
Thank you very much guys.

I never heard that 3DTV Play is free for 3D Vision owners. May be i missed something but i see no any mention when i bought 3DTV Play.
Rocquito, i use HMZ-T1 with 3DTV Play, everything works just fine.
But i should admit i mostly prefer to play games using monitor and glasses anyway. But if you want use headset for it, it works.

Yup 3DTV play is free if you alread have 3D vision. You just need the emitter plugged in. http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-overview.html its about half way down the page, and I have the emitter also.
I have never tested a HD tv without either the 3DTV Play license or the emitter so I am not sure if the test works or not. You can play 3D Blurays without either software or emitter though

You will not see the 3D Vision or 3DTV Play logo.
It shows "blue-ray 3D" or something to that effect.
And yes, you will be able to run the setup wizard.
You will be able to play stereoscopic games that offer "native" support.
You will not be able to play games in stereo3D that require Nvidia's stereoscopic middleware.
What do you mean "middleware"?
Middleware is computer software that provides services to software applications beyond those available from the operating system
I mean you told: You will not be able to play games in stereo3D that require Nvidia's stereoscopic middleware.
Just wanna understand what you mean. Community fixes?

Rocquito was stating that he could run the setup wizard even though he didn't have 3dTV Play.
When I said middleware, I was referring to 3D Vision/3DTV Play.
I was pointing out that if he didn't buy Nvidia's middleware (3DTV Play), he would be limited to the few games that have native stereoscopic support.
Which would be the same if Rocquito had a Radeon GPU, only games with native support would work.
Otherwise a middleware such as TriDef would need to be purchased for games that did not have native support.

Hi All, i'm trying to use my HMZ T1 on a 670GTX as second monitor.
I bought today the 3DTvPlay after readying this thread that is clear about the support of this software for my glasses.
Do i need to use particular drivers? Always the 3D vision don't show anything related to the HMZ or 3D Tv.
Thanks in advance
Renato
Edit:
i have also a 570 GTX mounted.. for now unuseless.
The primary is a 3440x1440 LG 21:9. I can't, ovviously, use the HMZ as primary.
And.. also the problem in the attached image.. :(

Wouldn't 3D Vision automatic be considered a middleware?
Or is there another word I should be using?

In 3D Vision option 3DTV should be selected as well
