GLDirect unlocks 3D Vision support for older OpenGL titles

Now that Doom 3 has become open source, will it be easier for the developer(s) of GLDirect to add support to games based on its engine?

For you guys who are using Doom Kickstart you must check out.

They got some amazing Doom 1 and Doom 2 wads. Some wads don't work with well with Kickstart. Community Chest wad is great with Kickstart.
Vavoom http://vavoom-engine.com/ is another Doom source port. I use this as well. Community Chest 2 and 3 wad work with Vavoom although Kickstart is way better for 3D Vision. These are some great wads.

I used the wii64 emulator running through Dolphin emulator(one emulator runnig inside another)and got Turok Dinosaur Hunter 64 running almost perfect(good speed and graphics) with depth and convergence adjustable as desired. Also tried Doom 64(sound bugs)and Godeneye(very slow with soung bugs).I did not tried any other game yet.I followed this tutorial from the Dolphin emulator forum:

I tried this earlier, but none of the n64 games I tried actually rendered anything in 3D. I have Dolphin working in 3D for everything else.
-What version of Wii64 did you use? Can you link me?

Could someone provide more explicit steps on how to get Descent 2 working please? Here is what I have tried which results in the game attempting to launch (goes fullscreen and black) but then crashes before anything else happens with generic win7 "this program has behaved in a way which has caused it to stop" message:
1) fresh Win7 32-bit install
2) all drivers installed, Windows fully updated, and the latest DirectX redis installed
3) copied only opengl32.dll from the link in the first post to my \windows\system32 directory, overwriting the one already there
4) installed required 2008 C++ redis from the D2 website mentioned ealier - http://www.descent2.de/d2x.html
5) installed descent 2 to its default directory with the full install option
6) ran the self-extracting D2 mod from the site and extracted it to the default D2 directory
Now when I run d2x-xl.exe the game tries to open a window an go fullscreen it then crashes with a generic win7 error.
Help? I would love to play this game again, especially in 3D. :)

- I've got running 'Anachronox' (windowed at the moment) and 'Blade: the edge of darkness', only adding
Opengl32.dll from Gldirect last release into executable directories and with minor editing. 'Anachronox'
needs, at least, to disable fullscreen from the .bat that starts the game (this is because it only gives
original resolutions). 'Blade' needs a previous install of the unofficial patch that includes a new
rOpengl raster.
The GLDirect project is one of the best things to happen to 3D Vision since NVidia all but dropped OpenGL support. You simply place the GLDirect build of opengl32.dll into the same folder as the game executable. Thanks to GLDirect, 3D Vision is verified as working with the following games that I've tested so far:
- Alice (American McGee's)
- Star Wars Jedi Academy
- Kingpin: Life of Crime
- Classic ID Software titles (Doom, Doom 2 HoE, Heretic, Hexen) via jDoom 1.8.6 and Doomsday Kickstart 2.09.
- Half-Life
Pros:
- Easy installation, just drag-and-drop opengl32.dll. No special configuration or patching
Sorry to Necro an old thread, but I want to point out that Star Wars Jedi Academy actually has native support sort of built in. All you need to do is edit the config file. There's a DirectX wrapper made by Creative Labs already residing in the Game Files. I discovered this while trying to edit the resolution. I looked at the DLL with ResourceHacker and noticed it said "Creative DS3D Wrapper Implementation".
http://forums.creative.com/archive/index.php?t-125704.html
You'll need to add/replace/change the following.
seta r_fullscreen "1"
seta r_customwidth "1920"
seta r_customheight "1080"
seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_stereo "1"
seta cg_fov "95"
Adjust the following values as needed/desired.
seta cg_stereoSeparation "0.4"
seta s_separation "0.5"
BTW: I'm using W7 64bit/Driver 332.21
EDIT: The wrapper might only be for sound and the game itself may be dx9. Anyhow, GLDirect is not needed for Jedi Academy. Edit #2: the game is OpenGl and the wrapper is for sound.
EDIT#2: FYI: r_mode [-1,3,4,5,6,7,8] - This setting determines the resolution, as set in the in-game menus under Screen Size (See In-Game Settings section). The mode values are 3 = 640x480, 4 = 800x600, 5 = 1024x768, 6 = 1152x864, 7 = 1280x1024 and 8 = 1600x1200. Note, you can use -1 for r_mode, and this tells the game to use the values for r_customHeight and r_customWidth to set screen width and height - this is useful for allowing things like widescreen mode.

Also I read in another thread that DeusEx and Rune, plus some of the Unreal Games work with an OpenGl to DiectX10 wrapper.

Playing again Severance Blade of Darkness. I get a nice 3D, but only problem is that I have to raise a lot the convergence and the HUD disappear from the screen. Any solution to fix this?
I also have to ctrl+alt+supr to leave the game properly when using this dll.
