Certainly not Just Cause 2 caliber, not sure it's even the same engine given how much is busted.
Also of note- no way to invert mouse look, only controller. So, yeah, not a first rate effort.
So Is it fixable?
Off to an OK start. 3Dmigoto loads without too much trouble, although the game itself is unstable when doing alt-tab. 881 shaders dumped into ShaderCache, with only a handful of errors. Shader hunting works.
Can't promise anything of course, but the basic tools seem to be working.
Also, keep in mind that this game probably has that sucktastic Denuvo DRM that ruined Batman.
Performance here seems pretty good, but the failures on alt-tab are suspiciously like the problems that Denuvo introduces. This is Warner Brothers after all, and you know they completely despise PC gamers.
I'd recommend waiting until Christmas sale- this sucker is going to be 75% at Christmas. And we'll probably have it fixed by then.

Thanks for being so quick to provide input, Bo3b!
Why can these games not be perfect it 3D? I'm so fed up with all these great games not supporting 3D...
Shadow of Mordor was such a great game, and without the fix it would have been somewhat mediocre.
I'll only play this game in 3D anyway, but just from time to time, would it not be nice to see a high profile game working perfectly in 3D Vision?!?
At least there seems to be some hope for this one. But I'll never get to experience MGS5 and who knows how many others...
Sorry for the bitterness, i realise how uncalled for it is. We have more 3D games than ever, thanks to you guys.

I tried
The best one is this : Setting ID_0x709adada = 0x37f5854a InternalSettingFlag=V0
There is some sort of polygonal dust plane over camera what makes it autofocus like crazy, and unplayable.... I think dust Billboards recognized as UI...

Using Farcy 4 profile works, but UI is broken as it shapes to depth pass.
With this custom flag you can increase convergence enought (without 2d) and get good result.

Disagree :) Setting invert in Controller menu effectively inverts mouse as well. Dunno, maybe it's 0-day patch in action, though. Overall game looks pretty solid! Reminded me of Uncharted 3 :) Footsteps on send looks awesome! And SLI scaling is near perfect! Game runs on 90 FPS completely maxed out (1080p). I really wonder, how it would look in proper 3D...
EDIT: OMG! OMG!! OMG!!! This game looks ABSOLUTELY amazing in Compatibility Mode! Another great example that CM isn't THAT bad, after all! Depth perception is there, and halo around Max'es head is almost invisible! Now Mad Max looks waaaaay better than in plain 2D! Give it a try, guys!
P.S. Followed Dorkirt post to make game run with Far Cry 4 profile. 60 FPS, maxed out on 970 SLI (1080p).
EDIT #2: Game is hardly using 40% of my SLI setup when in CM mode with steady 60 FPS :)))

Yupp, that flag is the best one I found so far;) The game really looks good in Compat mode;) I suggest using the depth hack as well (to add the missing depth ^_^).

Anychance someone can quickly explain how to get comp mode working for us simpler folk ;)
I attempted to follow helifax's guide, but with no avail.
Can someone perhaps upload the nvidia inspector profile for us to import?
