Lol ok now it makes sense :D. My first assumption indeed was that you want to play in VR because your name is VR Punk. But then you said the you bought and installed 3DTV Play which isn't required for VR! So then I thought you wanna play on your TV. What you see on your first screenshot in kingdom come deliverance is Compatibility Mode (Fake 3D) combined with 3dmigoto's side by side shader which results in very weird results. The shaderhacker who did this fix (Losti) forgot to disable Compatibility Mode by default. So you manually have to press CTRL + ALT + F11 to show real stereosopic 3D. Then side by side works! DHR also forgot to disable Compatibility Mode for Batman: Arkham Knight by default! That's why you also get the results here. So you also have to press CTRL + ALT + F11. After switching to Stereo 3D mode the Nvidia driver remembers your settings next time.

The reddit instructions you linked above are pretty easy to be automated in 3D Fix Manager. So I I'll add a "3D Discover for VR" mode for the display profiles. By using this you'll also don't need to lock system user permission permanently any more then. For another 3D type "reversed line interlacing" the system user permissions had to be locked, too. But 3DFM does this only temporarily which is a better option than locking it permanently. Thank you Pauldusler. We were discussion on Discord of the possibility to have the ever popular ReShade integrated into the 3D fix manager in some fashion? I do not know how complex a task this might be but it would be tremendously useful. As you might know, we have a difficult time trying to get ReShade and 3DV fixes to work together due to .dll conflicts - fixes and ReShade use the same .dll, or when they are named differently, half the games don't pick up both simultaneously. Both 3DMigoto and ReShade are open source so I guess someone knowledgeable might easily be able to combine both .dlls into a single .dll for intrinsic compatibility. Failing that, I came across ILmerge.exe which purports to be able to combine .dlls after they have been compiled. The usage is via a single command line. Alternatively, just enable 3Dfix and ReShade compatibility for manual ReShade installation in some way?

I've just added 3D Discover VR mode (was only 15 minutes of work) and this seems to be very interesting. Modded 3D Discover + Side by Side shader looks identical as regular 3D Vision + Side by Side shader. I'm asking myself if this would work with a TV without buying 3DTV Play? Theoretically this should work? I'll try Middle Earth Shadow of War tonight and look if I also get the issue with the filter color. @RAGEdemon: I don't have much experience with Reshade. I've only tried it 1-2 times. But it seems that it copies a dll, ini files and shader folders to the game directory. This could be automated with 3DFM. But the question is: What do we have to do to make it work with 3dmigoto? It seems that reshade uses a dxgi.dll for DirectX 11 games. 3Dmigoto uses d3d11.dll. So at least we have no naming conflicts here? Or am I wrong? And what do we have to do to make it work with DirectX 9 games? Is it enough the set the ProxyLib in DX9Settings.ini like we did for sweetFX or doesn't this work with reshade? Are there any threads with infos summarizing things? Or could you please give me the most important facts concerning Reshade + 3D Vision?

The most work would be to code more then one way to hook the games, because Reshade and the in my case used VR tools Vorpx and Tridef VR are all using dxgi and d3d11 files to hook the games and collidate with the 3dfixes and with each other. I have to use the desktop mode of Vorpx and Tridef VR, becauause of that. It works well, but the regular hooks of Vorpx are much better optimized for real VR with head tracking and everything else. The 3D Effect of 3d Vision is much better then the native 3d effects of Vorpx etc. When the code is stable, I m going to send an e-mail to voodoo on youtube, I suggest he will promote it. He is promoting every progress in the VR segment.

Now i have testet several games, and the cinema mode of bigscreen beta, virtual desktop, tridef vr and vorpx are looking fantastic with 3D Vision SBS. The "Full VR Mode" of Vorpx with real head tracking and the touch controllers (for example in GTAVR) is too tricky for the most gamers. It should work out of the box, but this needs changes in the game profiles of vorpx. If it is ok for you, i could start a thread in the vorpx forum about the new VR support of 3d Fix Mananger. Vorpx is already supporting 3D Vision SBS of Tomb Raider and Deus Ex Mankind Divided etc.

I've just tried the combination of Oculus Rift + 3D Vision Discover + Bigscreen Beta. Some games do not work at all (virtual desktop disappears when starting the game). Some games only show a picture on my Oculus when resolution is set to the native one of my monitor. Other games work but performance is crap. I've also tried native SBS games like Trine 2 and performance is also poor. I don't know if it's worth at all to combine 3D fixes with Bigscreen beta. Oculus has a built-in virtual desktop now but I didn't find the option to enable 3D / SBS... Which fps do you need for smooth gameplay? 70 fps per eye stuttered like hell. Probably 90 fps are required because oculus runs at 90hz? Maybe things run better with VorpX and 3D Vision... Yes you're welcome to start a thread. I'll release the update soon for 3DFM.

The easiest method to test some games is the trial version of tridef vr. But the download link of the official website and the shop is down. The installer is 44MB, but you should tell me which filehoster is the best to upload it for you !? Or e-Mail ? Step by Step 1 - Install tridef vr 2 - install 3d fix manager 3 - configure fix manager for 3d discover vr 4 - install 3dfix for your favorite game 5 - start tridef vr, do not install a game profile 6 - start your vr headset, you should see your desktop with tridef vr gui 7 - start the favorite game in 3d mode via 3d fix manager 8 - Into the vr headset focus the option button with your eyes a few seconds and the ingame menu pops up and wirh your gamepad set the display size etc. and then set the 3d mode to sbs 9 - activate the 3d Vision SBS Mode with CTRL + T 10 - adjust the graphic settings of the game to high resolutions an high antialiasing and medium graphic details. You can set custom resolutions in the nvidia driver tool in the system settings of Windows. Try resolutions like 2,5k 3k 3,5k The result of your settings have to be minimum 45 FPS in Action Games. Vive an Rift will "upscale" the frames to 90fps. 4k Ultra isnt possible in VR, even not on a RTX 2080 TI, and you have to play with your gamepad, but the immersion in VR is fantastic even with medium graphic details. Offtopic: today i am going to play Red Dead Redemption 2 via PS4 Remote Play and vorpx, even without 3D Effect on my Oculus Rift, because of the immersion. Since one year i have never played a game without my Oculus Rift.

I have a feature request, if possible that might improve the software. I noticed we can turn on/off 3D Vision globally from it, instead of using the NVIDIA control panel. This is helpful. Is it possible to implement this feature on a per-game basis? The reason I ask is actually for Starcraft 2. While this game supports 3D and has its own settings, I prefer it in 2D due to its competitive nature. However, sometimes 3D fires on its own when I play the game in 2-D, while clicking CTRL+T is not a big deal normally, it is when you are in the middle of combat in a multiplayer RTS. I have 3D enabled globally for other games. So ideally, I could turn off 3D ONLY for specified games such as Starcraft 2 so 3D Vision would never fire. I would assume other games might fall in similar scenarios. Is this convenience possible?

The online shop seems to be closed since several weeks. So I think Tridef won't be an option any more. Btw I've uploaded a beta version of 3D Fix Manager which contains the new VR feature. You can download here I've changed the mechanism how the registry is being locked for the "System" user. When starting the game the "Stereo 3D" key is locked for "System" user and after closing the game it's automatically granted write permission again. I advice to undo the permission settings you manually made to the Stereo 3D key. For using with VR go to Display Profiles tab and for example in TV profile set "3D display type" to "3D Vision Discover for VR". As "Preferred 3D Format" set either "Reversed Side By Side" or "Reversed Top & Bottom". Concerning upscaling fps to 90 I don't have the feeling that this works - at least for bigscreen beta. Gameplay doesn't feel smooth like on my 3D monitor / 3D projector :-/. I think I'll try vorpX. Cool didn't know about ps4 remote. But it seems to be streamed via internet? Why does Sony not allow to stream via LAN? xD

Ps4 remote play streams over lan, too. With the ps4 pro in 1080p with ps4 intern supersampling rendering the VR upscaling to 90fps is called asw on oculus rift and motion smoothing on htc vive you could try the oculus tray tool, to configure asw for bigscreen or virtual desktop but vorpx is the best choice in any way the problem is the hooking of the 3dfixes and the hooking of vorpx are not compatible you have to exclude the game.exe in vorpx and stop the watcher of the vorpx config tool, and start vorpx desktop viewer the desktop viewer needs windowed or borderless windowed mode its a little bit tricky in the beginning, but i have finished many Triple A non vr games in the last months wirh vorpx and tridef vr and from now on with the support of your fix manager there are hundreds of games with 3D Vison support in vr ! Big Thanks !!!
