I tested my Nvidia 3d Vision on World of warcraft and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (COD6)
They work perfectly and looks great.

But I use 3D Vision in Call of Duty: Black ops, I got render error like the pictures below:

This is my computer: (nothing overclocked)

Video card is Gigabyte GTX460SE 1GB DDR5
CPU Intel i7-950
Ram kingston 1333 4GB*3
MB: Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
650W Power supply
ASUS VG236H 120HZ LCD screen.

OS: WINDOWS 7 64Bit
Display & 3D Vision Driver: 261.01 (From CD-ROM came with Video card)

I tried reinstall DierctX and the game,it still render error.
I upgraded game patch 1.1 version, still no work.

I try to install older version of Nvidia driver like 260.99, 260.63 and 258.56 downloaded from Official Nvidia web.
But they all say can't find hardware to install.
I can only install driver from cd-rom with the Gigabyte GTX460SE video card.

What's wrong with it?
How can I do?

I moved the pics from imageshack to photobucket.
I wish you can see it now.

By the way, is it correct that I can't use driver older than 261.01 on GTX460SE?
I know it's 262.XX came with GTX580 now. Does it means we can't use official Nvidia web driver anymore?

I upgraded display driver to 263.09 yesterday, error still exist.
But I found the 3D Vision driver on Nvidia official web has upgraded to the 1.41 today.
I tried the 1.41 driver right away. It fixed!! No more error!!

In fact the 3D Vision driver in 1.41 package shows it's version is 263.09 in windows control panel.
The same version with display driver. 1.41 included 263.09 display driver and 263.09 3D Vision driver both.

But you can't find 1.41 directly on Nvidia download web. You can only find the 1.41 download link in 1.38 download page used for GTX580 only.
Though I am GTX460SE, only 1.41 works no error for me, and 1.38 can't.

So everyone encounter this error as I did just upgrade your 3D Vison driver to 1.41, then everything is fixed! Even you are not using GTX580.

How is your FPS in 3D mode with Black ops? Is it perfect? When you rapidly move the mouse left & right is there any lag?

In fact I played Black ops whole game with ATI 6870.....It's perfect without any lag all the game, all the time with 1920*1080 and most setting in high.

But for 3D mode, I replaced my 6870 with GTX460SE, no matter in 3D mode or not, it lags a lot especially for special effect like bomb blow up or smoke.
Sometimes even no effect no enmey it still lags. I can only use 1280*720 to play.

In Windows7 Experience Index, 6870 got score 7.3, GTX460SE got score 7.4....I don't understand why.

Though in other games, they all perform great, I can't tell different with two video cards, they all work fine without lags.

So I am consider about replace GTX460 with GTX580 again(maybe it could got score 7.9?)....my local dealer has order it for me. Just waiting for it now.
