Firefox now works with newly release Cooliris 1.11 in Anaglyphic mode only for me.
Does anybody get it to work with DLP+3DVision?
Or could anyone confirm whether Cooliris is meant for 3DVision at all or just for anaglyphic?
It is a cool app to use viewing S3D images, more convenient and better interface than other S3D viewers. In addition it's also very fast and easy to use to search pix in general on several major engines and depositories. Thanks to CoolIris devs for a nice app.

I have Cooliris 1.11.1, Firefox 3.0.11, and graphics drivers version 186.18
When i load cooliris in fullscreen, the colour changes to more of a red shade (I use the anaglyphic 3D vision since the proper stuff hasnt made it to Aus yet). This indicates that the 3D is active. I also get the information box in the bottom right corner.
Problem is, I get no separation / 3D effect whatsoever.

Cooliris is not compatible with 186.18 drivers.
Try switching to old version like 80.XX; it works.

OK guys....if you havent tried cooliris with the new beta drivers 190.38 you need to go do it. This application has the best popout of anything else I have done since I have owned 3D vision. This is my new demo for 3D (2nd would be Tomb Raider Anniversary).
Good Luck....but it works for me now and its pretty impressive!

I have the graphics drivers of this version, but cannot find this version of the 3D drivers.
Therefore I am running 190.38 on the normal drivers, but 186.18 3D vision drivers.
Is this what you mean?
Now when I open cooliris (in firefox or in IE) the 3D vision doesnt activate at all... (I am using Win 7 RC)

With the beta 3D vision drivers (190.38) and cooliris 1.11 it works fine in IE7, too.
Really nice /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
A hint: the standard black background causes some ghosting because of the high contrast to the pictures . To prevent this You can change the background in the preferences and replace it with a picture. I used the pattern of a grey curtain. Now the ghosting disappeared.
It would be great if one not only could browse through jps-folders with these pictures presented in 2D but also look at these pictures in 3D. Or am I missing something?

No, I don't think you are.
The 2d images pop out of the screen, as in the frame of the picture, but the photo is still in 2d.
3d images however (left and right, or stereo images) are fully displayed in all their 3d glory.
I much prefer using Cooliris now to view 3d images than the Nvidia 3d Vision Photo Viewer.

Really nice
A hint: the standard black background causes some ghosting because of the high contrast to the pictures . To prevent this You can change the background in the preferences and replace it with a picture. I used the pattern of a grey curtain. Now the ghosting disappeared.
It would be great if one not only could browse through jps-folders with these pictures presented in 2D but also look at these pictures in 3D. Or am I missing something?
