Atentamente, El equipo de Google" It says that they decided to "not take action". I'm not sure if that's in my favor or against it. I've read that in theory, the links should be reenabled 14 days after that email unless the one who made the DMCA notice contacts me or something. The time has passed and nothing happened automatically, so just in case I changed the URL and title of the blog post (heh, bad trick, I know), and republished it.

According to this: https://www.dmca.com/FAQ/What-is-a-DMCA-Counter-Notice
Once the service provider (ISP/OSP) has received a valid DMCA Counterclaim or Counter Notice they must wait 10-14 days before they re-activate or allow access to the claimed infringing content. Unless the copyright owner (complainant) files a order in court against the infringing site owner, the defendant (ISP / OSP subscriber) and demonstrates the order to the ISP/OSP.
They received my counter notice on August the 20th. All the necessary days have passed, so I think I have the right to repost the content. By the way, the "infringing" URL was the blog post, and not the link to the fix itself.
@masterotaku If you don't understand what was sent to you just take the fix off the blog. Better safe then sorry.
No, it's important to stand up to these dick-heads. They are filing false notices against anything that includes a download link, regardless of validity. They are just lazy and trying to simply spread fear, instead of doing the right thing. I wouldn't even bother to change the title, just update it from Draft to posted. Either way is OK. Because corporations own every aspect of all our lives, we get to do this dance once in awhile. It's not automatically reposted for us, so the notice that no complaint was filed means it's OK to repost. This is the outcome I expected. They post a DMCA based on false/lazy information from their subcontractor who does a google search "download + game". Because you know, downloads can only possibly be torrents, there is no other possibility. They were too lazy to vet out the links to begin with, and are too lazy to respond to the rebuttal, so "as you were." BTW, thanks for letting us know and handling this. I still am worried that site admins did not get the emails.
