ok so i keep getting this Blue screen everytime i try to run 3d vision, it even happens on the setup on the nvidia control panel, i have tried just about everything i can think of already, updated to the newest drivers, etc etc, once in a while i manage to start a game, but then when i close it, or sometimes just when the screen changes (loading new map etc) i get the blue screen again.
has anyone else had these issues? i was fine when i was using windows vista before, but i refuse to go back to that crap.
so, anyhelp? im about to trow my 3d kit into the trashcan tbh.

The 3D drivers didn't like some of my overclock settings nearly as much as using just the normal ones. I was getting some lock ups and blue screens on occasion on a system that would pass various torture tests before. I ended up having to run my video card at stock to prevent this. If you are running any components like your video card or CPU overclocked you might want to take a look at that.

There is ALWAYS a need to overclock...at least for me. lol
Ok, let's verify all this:
System is running stock speed?
Are you able to run Prime95 for at least 3 hours in Blend?
On Windows 7 I had to do this:
1- Uninstall EVERY Nvidia display driver, ie display, physx, 3d vision and control panel. Also disconnect the 3D receiver.
2- Boot to safe mode and run the driver sweeper to clean up left overs.
3- Restart to regular mode.
4- Install ONLY the display driver (not the combo one that has the 3d as well)
5- Restart computer
6- Install the 3D vision driver.
7- Run the Wizard and connect the 3d receiver when prompted. (you may want to try a different USB port that works on a different controller like if you are on the rear ones, use the front one as a test).
That did it for me.

my primary monitor is a samsung 2233rz and second is a LG 50" hd plasma, and am running a truepower 1000watt. i think our systems are similar.i was also pondering getting another bfg 295gtx for when my acer H5360 arrives next week.
have you tried disabling the secondary monitor?

I do not use dual screens...not even with my phsyx only GTS 250 that is in the same system I have the 295...for some reason the system always ends up acting funny if I try it.
