3D on a GT540M
Hello, im new here and I have some doubts. Im looking for a 3d experience gadget, and I hear that my GT540M can be used as a 3d screen using http://www.nvidia.es/object/buy-wired-3d-glasses-es.html (for example) I could do it. This is possible? I dont know if my computer will support this tecnology. Thank you very much

That definitely won't work. You'll need a 3d vision ready monitor.

What Pirateguybrush says will work, but only under certain circumstances. While the 540M is capable of 3D Vision, it is a low end model that doesn't have very much power. So in resource intensive games, you'll be lucky to run them at low settings. http://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-gt-540m The biggest thing with laptops is that they use Optimus technology. Due to the Optimus technology , whether it will even work or not is dependent on the installation configuration performed by the manufacturer on your specific model. A person can have the exact same model, but may have upgraded certain features offered by the manufacturer when purchased.
