it doesn't give me the option in game either (still grayed out). a similar thing happened with crysis 3 but somehow i managed to get it working - cant remember how, just recall it was grayed out in there too with driver in grey. now it loads in full side by side each time.
any more ideas? im using a LG 2780D 3D monitor via HDMI
The only thing I have noticed is that there are these spots where graphics glitch really bad and then it's gone. It's like a bunch of stuff coming out from the center of the screen. The only thing I can liken it to is the game sh-tt-ng a kaleidoscope in your eyes. :D
It happened randomly here and there but it hasn't happened since I turned off tessellation. I was able to catch it in a screenshot, one second it's fine like in 118 and then all these colors shoot out of the center of the screen like in 119 but much worse.

What I did was disable 3Dvison in NCP, reboot and then started up TR. Once actually in game (not in the launcher) I ALT-TAB'ed out to NCP and re-enabled 3Dvison. Opening the in game settings it was still greyed out - however closing the settings and reopening them again removed the grey box allowing me to turn on S3D in game.

And you have executive full screen ticked?
Maybe try seeing if you can turn it on from registry?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Crystal Dynamics\Tomb Raider\Graphics
Change stereo enabled to 1

Do you have the 'exclusive full screen' box checked? Those playing in 2D say it crashes their game - mine is enabled and not a single crash in S3D.
Thanks for replies!
I have exclusive box unchecked but have tried with both. Yeah it crashes mine in 2d
how do i turn on from the registry defiant? totally noob at this
thanks again though, getting closer!
SORTED IT!
Basically in NCP - Adjust image settings - chose the advanced 3D settings, then enable 3d and make sure exclusive full screen is set. All works from the tomb raider launcher too!
thanks everyone

BALLS - spoke to soon
Game give me the option to tick stereoscopic 3D. When i loaded it in game it again gave me options for stero 3D but the game IS NOT playing in 3d, just the frame rate has slowed down to almost a halt and no 3D still. No ideas now, totally lost
again, any suggestions?

managed to logate registry in regedit - changed to a 1 and didnt work. I can chose stereoscopic now by altering settings in NCP, it just doesnt play in 3D. dying to play in 3D as its such an amazing game

Def - no it doesnt show the green. tried cntrl t but noting. as i say it loads with steroscopic ticked in launcher and exclusive fullscreen (steroscopic wont tick without this). in game it says on but the game looks no different, just laggy as fook. doooh
Im not keen on tickets as they usually come back with generic crap which take you though the usual "turn it off at the base" suggestions for the first 2 hours haha. cheers though
