Sekiro Shadows Die Twice
  7 / 8
Good evening, I decide to post after a few weeks with the fix 3d vision. This one works very well as well in version 1.0 1.01 and 1.03 But I have an error message in red at the launch of the game (which disappears after the appearance of the menu) I do not see any mess in the 3d vision until now but I would like to have a fix that can remove this message at startup. unless the fix has an error? here is the message in red just at the launch of the game failed to bad custom texture resource E: / program files (x86) sekiro shadows die twice / shaderfixes \ hud1.png: 0x800004002 thanks in advance

Maybe someone knows what is the problem of my doubling. The resolution is 2560 * 1440. Default settings. Driver version 419.67. Screenshots by reference https://ru.files.fm/u/hgqxrfms

The PNG is next to the shaders so, I have no idea why that fails and I can't reproduce it locally.

I get the same/similar error message with "Failed to load custom texture resource [path] hud1.png: 0x800004002". Changing the path to D:\STEAMLib\Sekiro didn't help. My system: Win 7, 418.91. Can't tell if the error causes issues with the fix. HUD looks fine using the UI-toggle. I only have some issues with fog/fire/water-effects that are sometimes displayed at wrong depth or only for one eye at certain viewing angles.

I wonder if it's not related to Windows 7 somehow. What issues are you seeing exactly? I don't remember having issues around the effects, but then again, a lot of fixing was in that area.

Problems visible in my monitor. Doubling is gone after a long shutdown of the monitor. Fix works great. Got a question. To date, which monitors are certified under 3D with the maximum resolution and diagonal? On the 3d site only a list of old models.

In my d3dx.ini I had added a switch to Your fix which allowed me to disable certain shaders by using w=1 as constant and w = 0,1 type = cycle in the key section. This caused the fire/fog/water effects to flicker/change depth etc. under certain angles (although I didn't change their shaders in my addendum so I didn't think that these issues were related to my addendum). After using Your original d3dx.ini the effect issues were gone. Is there a conflict when using iniParams.w with Your fix or is it in general not possible to use iniParams.w in 3dmigoto? The error message with "Failed to load custom texture resource..." is still present but as mentioned above I can't see issues with the UI. Which parts of the UI should be broken when hud1.png does not load correctly? Maybe the fix works correctly and the error message is wrong?

@ddr0390: I think I use the .w component from iniParams to filter something (sorry I can't remember from the top of my head). You can always use a different w if you want. 3DMigoto supports from .w up to w7 (w, w1, w2, w3, etc). For example loading x3,y3,z3,w3 would be something like:
float4 iniParams = IniParams.Load(3,0);
The hud1.png is used to filter some UI elements: the grappling hook prompts, so they are pushed to depth even with the whole ui being 2D. Initially I wanted to push to the depth a lot of the health bars and ui elements, while presenting the HUD at screen depth, but upon doing this I realised it breaks the menus. What I am curious is as to why it fails to load it. You can try: - to copy hud1.png somewhere to "D:\" - in the ini file find and update:
[ResourceHUDIconFilter1] filename=D:\hud1.png
And see if this works. You can also put the full path there and see if it finds it then. (ignore ResourceHUDIconFilter2 and hud2.png as it is not present and used). Hope this helps.

So it still regards the path as relative and just adds "D:\" to the original path which ofc doesn't work... As the game works fine even with this error it doesn't harm - BTW many, many thanks for this great fix! I'm only worried if an error like this could break other fixes which absolutely need custom texture resources :( Do You happen to know other fixes that make use of custom texture so I could check if they work?

I guess You meant Far Cry 4? This fix contains several png files. I don't have Far Cry 4 atm but I will try to check it out. So far I just tried to use the dlls of the Far Cry 4 fix with the Sekiro ShaderFixes and d3dx.ini but the result was a never ending loop of error beeps when starting the game ;)

I could check Far Cry 4 now and the FC4 fix works both with the original dlls of the FC4 fix and with the dlls used in the Sekiro fix. Using the Sekiro-dlls and removing the png files from the FC4 fix I get the same error message as in Sekiro ("Failed to load custom texture resource...") when I start the game. Also the crosshair remains at constant depth and doesn't adjust automatically. But when I restore the png files and hit F10 I don't get an error message and the crosshair works correctly again. So the texture error I get on my Win 7 system is specific for Sekiro. The Sekiro fix still works very well even with the error so I don't mind. As texture filtering works with other games and is not per se broken on my system I'm not so much concerned about it any more. For me it is OK if we don't spend more time to find a solution for this error in Sekiro. Thanks again for Your help and the fix!

Any hope for SLI? (SLI work with Darksouls III Profile) The 3D fix is actually not working with SLI (2x1080 Ti) dam Helifax is not a SLI guy anymore x) but thank you as always for the fix I just wonder if this fix can easly be converted for SLI to have the ability to play 3D in 4K :)
