Sounds funny when you writing next gen. What do you mean - our or console`s ? Anyway - this is the same engine (Dunia 2.0) so there should be DX9 in there. Did you try that ?

Yeah Dunia 2 is getting old... Anyway set shadow to high, HBAO+, nvidia godrays, others to ultra, solve many issues. Water still broken.

Apparently there's a day 1 patch yet to be released, and we don't have drivers for it yet. Could improve. How's the 2D performance? As for SLI, have you tried moving it to the FC3 profile? Preliminary report that says it performs pretty well in 2d. http://www.gamerheadlines.com/2014/11/far-cry-4-pc-runs-like-butter/ I've read that increasing maximum pre-rendered frames in nvcp can improve things.

This one is ranking right at the top of my personal "3D most wanted" list. After having a look at chtiblue's screenies which look pretty awesome in my opionion apart from some shadow issues in dark scenes and the water still being broken my hopes are really high now for a possiblr fix. Hey Mike and Bob are you guys still contemplating about your next project ;-)

having played FC4 last night, it is definitely nothing like FC3... way better, in fact one of the best looking games i have seen to date. absolutely stunning. the colour, visuals, vegetation, vol fog etc etc. check it out guys, its a real stunner. to me FC3 felt like it was limited in vegetation, very sparse... a bush budget if you like. FC4 has a lot more, tall grass, bushes, varied plants, trees, it looks sweet! i will try 3D tonight

Working, but there are some problems that would benefit from a fix.

I am not getting it. Milamber* posted that the 2D visuals are not that tip top and some are saying they are stunning. I am pretty much confused :( :( From the screenshots they actually look good.

I think the subsequent images posted by chtiblue used different game settings and that improved things. However when you look at all the screenshots, many of them still have shadow/lighting issues (the indoors ones in particular). Basically the game does need a fix (in my view), but it's probably just about playable. Compare with Shadow of Mordor or Alien Isolation (or many other games) that are *completely unplayable* out the box, with any game settings, and FC4 certainly does look very good in comparison.

patch came out today and fixed graphic issues in 2D so it looks more nice now in 2D and in compatibilitry 3D mode with AC unity profile. but 3Dvision is now more broken or we need to find what graphic options to desactivate to have the same result as pictures I posted above. Anyways water and indoors will be broken so it will need a 3D patch to look as beautifull and playable as Far cry 3. It would be awesome! for those interested I post below pictures in 3D compatibility mode:
