Picked up XCOM: Enemy Within for £6.59 I think it's been long enough for me to give the campaign another go. Gonna play ironman!!! http://store.steampowered.com/app/225340/ For those without XCOM: Enemy Unknown, which is required, "XCOM Complete" includes Enemy Within and costs £8.24 or regional equivalent. :) http://store.steampowered.com/sub/37429/

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I picked up Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Rayman Origins, Driver Parallel lines, Brutal Legend and Ceville really cheap at GOG. All of these are supposed to work great with 3D Vision. My bank tacks on 75 cents per foreign transaction, which is a bummer :( You have to keep checking back, they rotate in 2 new games every 30 minutes. The nice thing is that games from GOG, usually have no issues working with Windows 7 or 1920x1080 resolutions. Also being DRM free is a big plus after the GameSpy and Windows Live issues/shutdowns.
My bank tacks on 75 cents per foreign transaction, which is a bummer :(
... Ouch! ... I prefer bundles if I can get them, usually wind up with a Steam/Desura key and a DRM-free download link ... unless of course the site goes belly up, like IndieF*CKINGVania! Bastards didn't even give me any warning before going 'offline' and taking all my purchases with them. :( It's funny during Steam sales my WishList always winds up going down in size ... not from me purchasing much of anything off of it, but instead from me looking at it and realizing ... 'I got that in a bundle' ... 'got that in another bundle' ... 'got that from Amazon' ... 'bundle' ... 'bundle' ... 'bundle' ... 'Amazon' ... :) It sucks that they don't take stuff off your WishList when you activate a key on Steam.

/\ That is a stupid bug. I guess I'm lucky that I've just given up on GoG. I've tried a bunch of different cards and followed every direction I could do, but they just won't take my transactions (USA). Even attempting an order with a paypal BALANCE gets me "Bank declined" non-sense. So I just gave up.

Every Steam Sale, there seems to be a new basketball game that mocks me. This time around, it's NBA 2K14. It makes me remember that I'm still telling myself that "I've been meaning to play" NBA 2K11, which I bought at the Xmas Sale several years ago. Of course, I'll never play it, since there are several newer and better versions out now. But neither can I buy 2K14, since it'll just renew the same shame spiral once 2K15 and 2K16 come out :D
