Guys, has anyone managed to run The Witcher 2 with the dll. I need to make the hud transparent since the mod that was working towards that goal CTDs the game post EE patch. Currently the game crashes when I try to run it with the debug dll. Could anyone test, so that I know this isn't a problem on my pc only. Thanks.

Whats wrong with witcher 2's hud? I loaded it up and it looked fine(not playing till I finish me3 again).
And also whats the first rule when debug crashes =*(
This one works. Here http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=31421
When trying a game I always open this page
http://helixmod.wikispot.org/oldvers .Even if it does load all the way with one. Sometimes one debug can find for more shaders then the other(even an older version)
@Pfifpo
congrats. Disabling stuff seems complicated at first but its not so hard and though not as good as fixing a game. It can really make a game shine.

I've removed shadows from PES 2012, It was unplayable... now it's awesome!
There is the zip file with the dll (the release one), just unzip on the same folder as pes2012.exe and play!
Be careful with online game...

That would be wonderfull if we could play with shadows (shadows are a lot of important), although better to play without wrong shadows, of course. This is one of my favourite games, it is a shame not to be able to play with all graphics on.

Any suggestions on where to add the transparency constant in these to PSs

Ill give it a shot though I am still not certain why hud should be made more transparent.

These worked, thanks, guess I'll only have to find out the rest. Thanks for the quick aid :)
Well making it transparent is pretty much all I want to do now. I have a plasma tv and this being a rpg which is played for hours on end, means that the hud stays on screen for a long-long time. Plasma screens for all their pros (best picture quality after CRT and OLED, and very low input lag) have one flaw, the phosphorous when it gets over-excited can stay permanently so, meaning image retention or burn-in (worst case scenario). To avoid this there have to be no static images or they have to be transparent, so that the pixels always show something different. That's pretty much it, I need a transparent hud, so that I don't damage my display. Up to the EE patch I have been using a mod, but it stopped working, so I'm now looking for a workaround. Sadly from the shaders I have tested up to now there is always something missing, or the hud parts appear in semi-transparent boxes. I've also tested Texmod and if shader modifications fail I'll probably be adding alpha channels to the individual textures.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. I've also contacted the author of the hud-b-gone mod, so if he makes it compatible, this is also an option. In the mean time the H key for hiding the hud is also an option, albeit not a very functional one game-wise.

I've decide to take the game Warp as a working project for fixing 3D.
There was an annoying shadow, which I disabled
Anyways, still much to be done, but I'll keep you guys informed!
