[DX9] How to create custom depth convergence presets on Keyboard/mouse buttons
Helix included all this stuff in his newest dll so pretty much all credit goes to him. I rewrote the helixmod tools section with customized presets and figured I'd write it here to let people know. Its basically the features he includes in his games nowadays. I decided to write it down because these features can make a big difference in a lot of games. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2010/12/how-to-guides.html Custom presets cycle for mouse/keyboard. Key press or mouse button. Example RPG's, cinematics. Custom preset as long as right mouse click is held. Like for gunsights/sniper A custom convergence/depth setting for as long as a key is held. Example binoculars, scanner, looking at compass, inventory.

Thanks, just to be clear the new (DX9) ones in the dll release only work with mouse and keyboard or using joy2key/xpadder, right?

Has this been tried on DX8/10/11? Because I had success running the old one on some non DX9 games, as far as hotkeys go.

Not sure if your confusing Chiri's tool with Helixs but I have no idea how non dx9 would work. Which games though, Ill try it when I get time.

DX10 and DX11 don't work, not that I was expecting it to, same as before (I mean entirely for convergence/depth assignment), but DX8 does, just like before.

oo WC3... mmmm. Wait does helix's debugger actually work with it or just settings? Im a bit confused how a D3D9.DLL can be picked up by a dx8 game. Are you sure this is a dx8 game?

I don't know what WC3 is, but I was using it on Morrowind. Pretty sure its DX8, its listed as DX8.1 as far as I can tell.
