nvidia 3d wired glasses - How can I get the driver?
3 / 3
Hmm, these USB wired glasses are an odd duck.
There's not much history/posts on them.
The few posts that there were, the users never posted back.
You might check them for a battery, if it's dead, it could be the problem. I'm not really sure.
We do occasionally get posters having troubles getting their emitters to be recognized, so it might be something similar.

when I plug it in, the orange led starts blinking, and when I power it on, the green led on top turns on, so it's probably not the battery.
I should really go to bed now though, it's 5:15 am here. I'll continue on this tomorrow (allthough I won't keep trying like I did with sli, if 3D vision is gonna be an even bigger pain to set up every time I'll just go bring these glasses back and don't touch the nvidia technologies nvidia claims they have, but don't actually support.

We have have several users with Windows 10, SLI and 3D Vision surround.
They can tell you that it is well worth it.
Properly setup and configured, 3D takes your gaming to another level.
It's seldom that I ever play a game in 2D. If I do, it's usually PVP.
As a general rule, I don't see people having much trouble with 3D Vision itself. Not compared to SLI support for example. I personally have a fair amount of trouble with SLI, to the point that I gave up on it.
For 3D Vision itself however, I rarely have any trouble with the transmitter, the wireless glasses, or my projector or monitor. Not the sort of problems you are seeing.
Not being able to make it successfully through the install is a bad sign. I don't think that has anything to do with the wired glasses, but maybe. That looks more like a general system problem.
If I were you, I'd try doing a clean install of Win7 on a different drive, and trying there. You'll quickly determine whether it's your current installed OS, or something with the glasses.
The wired glasses should work fine. They basically combine the emitter and glasses in one, and use the same USB communication to trigger when the shutters flip. I'd be very surprised if there is anything unique about them, as I expect them to have the same microcontroller that the emitter has, just wired and powered directly.

SO, after doing another ddu remove I was able to install all the drivers again, however when I go through the setup it still says I don't have the driver, so I'm back where I started.

So it would seem that for whatever reason, the glasses are not being recognized.
They may simply be defective or as bo3b mentioned it might be something to do with your system.
Have you checked your motherboard forums or checked for driver updates.
If you knew someone living near by with 3D vision, you could simply unplug their emitter and plug in your glasses to see if they worked.

Unfortunately I don't know anyone with a receiver...
Run the setup wizard before plugging in the glasses. Do not plug them in until the wizard tells you so.
I don't get that far into the setup wizard, after the first step (selecting the kind of glasses) it just tells me I don't have the driver
If you are doing the "clean install" option, when doing the NVidia install, and you are selecting the 3D Vision driver to be installed, and it still is not installed, then your system is broken and you need to try a clean install of the OS.
Anyone can install the 3D Vision driver, because anyone can use anaglyph red/cyan mode. It's not dependent upon hardware, other than an NVidia GPU.
As a simplification step, you should ignore the glasses and hardware until you can get Discover Mode/Anaglyph working.

Are you by chance currently using any tricks to enable Light Boost for 2D gaming or have you done so in the past?
If so, remove whichever method you are using and try again.
