3D vision broken (at least for me) on latest GTX970 drivers

Shouldn't do, but if it does, you could just put a little electrical tape over the internal emitter.
Look at the emitter through your phone camera, while it's on. On mine, I see four pink/purple lights next to the green "3d" symbol. Maybe you'll be able to spot if one/more of them are not looking right. Mine appear solid, look for a flicker, or one of them being off/very dim. It's not conclusive, but if you see anything weird it's a pretty good indicator.

Or, if your built-in emitter shows up as it's own separate device in Windows Device Manager you could just disable it. Or, if your handy with tools you could take your display apart and physically disconnect the emitter portion - but that's risky.
Anyway, sounds like the emitter/glasses is where your issue lies.
Just curious, you said you installed the 361.43 set, I also had trouble with this set, it broke a couple of games for me, so I reverted back to 359.06 and am really happy with this driver, what driver version did you revert back to?

I think 359.06 too but I can't check in GFE as it wants to update which ALWAYS fails at Shield Controller and Nvidia have not fixed this in many months. I will need to uninstall GFE again and manually install new version.

I discovered the fault!
The DVI ports and the HDMI port are faulty.
My card is currently getting repaired for free under the RMA act as it was half way through it's warranty term. The issue worsened and got to the point that the moment windows booted up I got "DVI No Signal" on a black screen on both DVI ports and "HDMI No Signal" on a blue screen on the HDMI port. I am using my old GTX760 until my card is repaired and the 3D is working flawlessly and with the addition of my new Sound Blaster Zx and Logitech z506 Surround Speakers my PC is a great 3D Home Theater now.
