Hi, I've been having a similar issue with 270.51. Trying to watch anything or run the 3d test, it was sort of fading in and out of sync, and the glasses were shifting back and forth from red to blue (I didn't know they could change color, lol). I rolled back to the previous display driver and 3d controller driver which I had to install separately and the problem is gone. I'm going to try just installing the beta display driver and leaving the 3D vision as is, I'll report back if there's any issues. I hope this gets sorted out soon, because I'm looking forward to some of the new features and performance improvements.
Edit: Yeah, no good.. Looks like I'm with 266.66 for now till this gets sorted. If you need any additional info, please message me.

Hi
We need all of your details
- GPU (SLI yes or no)
- Motherboard make/model
- USB emitter plugged into motherboard or hub?
- What type of 3D display?
- What resolution with the test app does this happen at?

Hi Andrew,
Just a thought..it seems that the 3D emitter somehow "forgets" to increase the sync rate of the glasses based on the screen refresh rate. This could explain why at 100hz everything is OK and with higher refresh rates everything gets "out of sync". This is just my theory anyway;)) as I don't know how and where to search for this. The "user" settings are OK....but I do believe that the "debug" ones might show something different.

Andrew any news regarding this issue? It's kinda frustrating not to be able to use 3D vision with my GTX590 because of this issue.
As the GTX590 is fresh I can't revert to older drivers either due to thelack of support for this card.
Any temporary fix will do just fine! I am looking at a daily rate for a new beta release...but sadly no new version is available. So, can you provide a temporary fix? or at least specify the date when we should expect a new driver release with the fix for this issue?

Hi, I've read all your posts from the link. I don't know what to say....about the firmware update of the pyramid. From what I saw in the install package no firmware is installed. Only drivers and the Nvidia 3D service. Basically the difference is in the "nvstub.sys" file which is located in Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nvstub.inf etc. At least this is what I found out, but I might be wrong.
Sadly, I don't have my GTX295 (in this pc) to make tests on it...but the same happend when I tested with the 270.51 drivers on that card. However, when I rolled back to previous drivers everything was working well again.
Still, I would appreciate if they could make another beta release with the emitter drivers. It is very frustrating to wait like this, after paying like 700Euros on a GTX590 and more than 500Euros on 3D monitors and glasses.... and now just staying in the "dark"....

ALL the drivers AFTER 266.21 (3d vision controller driver) HAVE THIS ISSUE. Either you fix it!!! or gives us control to synchronization rate. I have 3 USELESS 3D monitors right now... which were alot of money...useless....
PS: at least tell us how to "tweak" the damn synchronization rate....
Working on an AMD Phenom II X4 945 Processor. IC1 and Cool'n Quit as there issues reporting that bad sync can come from them being enabled.

Same issue here with the latest WHQL 270.61 drivers. The only fix was to uninstall and revert back to the GigaByte WHQL 267.60 driver (plus the 267.24 USB Controller driver), which work perfectly well. My system:
AMD X4 640
Asus M4A78LT-M
Sparkle GTX 460 1GB (OC edition)
ViewSonic VX2268WM
4 GB RAM and Win7 x64
Also the colours of the 270.61 are noticeably washed out; nothing as vivid as the 267.60 (both are set to the same digital vibrance at +50%, so it's not that setting).

That is awesome news ManuelG! I do belive this problem is related with AMD Cpu platforms....somehow, as only AMD CPU owners have this issue. Just don't forget about us and keep us updated. Also, if any temporary fix will be available (until the next release of drivers) please, share it with us so we can actually enjoy 3D Vision.

Yep, I am in a similar situation http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=196712&st=120 (with an older card, though). I am checking also each day for new drivers and andrew's help...

100Hz working ok
110HZ HORRIBLE sync problem
120Hz sync problem.

AMD X4 640
Asus M4A78LT-M
Sparkle GTX 460 1GB (OC edition)
ViewSonic VX2268WM
4 GB RAM and Win7 x64
Also the colours of the 270.61 are noticeably washed out; nothing as vivid as the 267.60 (both are set to the same digital vibrance at +50%, so it's not that setting).
NVIDIA is getting it very wrong this time!

Best regards.
