You can play 3D games with 3DTV Play, but why would you want to? By design, 3DTV Play forces you to play 3D games in inferior 720P framepacking which results in poor image quality. Native resolution 3D Vision/checkerboard mode is prefered, but it won't work because your TV does not support checkerboard mode.
For non-checkerboard TVs, there are three options:
Tridef 3D
iZ3D
3DTV Play

TriDef 3D and iZ3D support side by side mode which gives you native resolution 1920x1080 at full frame rate. With 3DTV Play you are doomed to scaled 1280x720 gaming on a 1920x1080 screen. If you want to use nvidia 3D software, trade your TV for a D7000/D8000 LED samsung, any 2010 samsung, or an LG TV. This will enable you to 3D game in native resolution with 3D Vision.

What frequency will be in 3D games with 1920x1080 resolution on Samsung UE40D7000? Do I understand correctly that I get to 100 Hz per eye, or at least the minimum 60Hz?

I have heard that HDMI can not transmit 200Hz video with a resolution of 1920x1080. Is it true that it can operate only at a frequency of 120 Hz (60 frames per eye) only with 720p resolution or at 48Hz (24 frames per eye) with 1080p resolution? And you can tell please how to enable 3D 1080p on 3DTV Play? And can you please tell me how to enable 3D 1080p for games on 3DTV Play?
