You need a game to be fixed in 3D? - Fix-Wish-List (always up to date!)
3 / 4
Does anybody know why Crysis 1, which is #2 on the list, never got a proper fix? Was is just the lack of interest from shader hackers, too difficult or some technical issue with the game?
Lack of interest from any ShaderHacker. And early on at least, lack of experience with CryEngine. It's DX9 only, so it would require some dedication to figure out the shadows.

thats great news, I will wait however long - no problem. Hopefully it does not take up too much of your time, with the unity universal fix as a starting point. thanks for all your hard work!

Got it, thanks. Actually it does support DX10, but it doesn't matter in terms of 3D fix of course. Since #1 in the list, Assetto Corsa Competizione, was already mostly fixed by Losti, Crysis is now #1 most wanted :)

Games that are already fixed should be removed from the Helixmod wishlist. Or the names made into links for the fixes. Resident Evil 2 is number 3 but the fix has been done for months, for example (one of many).

Heavy Rain, Detroit Become Human and Beyond Two Souls might be candidates. Depending on what API the are using.
There was also a Unity Wish List, quite a few were fixed, but it might be worth having a look.

If you decide to tackle any dx9 games, keep in mind that helix has scripts for Unreal games that might help
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1014696/3d-vision/helix-lua-scripts/post/5171222/#5171222
Also DarkStarSword has Unity Templates, that were developed for DreamFall which was dx9 and then improved for other games

Keep in mind that if the game has 2.0 shaders, they need converted to 3.0
http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2017/03/converting-shaders-to-sm30.html
Also if you can not find a VS, you can try to make make one

BTW, I hope you had fun at Wave Gothic Treffen this year
I know that Flugan would be grateful to see either of the two Trials games that he plays get fixed.
So if anyone is interested, he had a wishlist
I'm going to be evil enough to actually type a wishlist which I don't expect to be fixed:
RealMyst: Masterpiece edition
Trials 2: Second edition
Trials Evolution Gold
Pinball Arcade DX11
Counter-Strike: Global offensive (fix done using community servers not using VAC)
MKX lightning which apparently was impossible
GTA IV, think it's about time.
Burnout: Paradiset.
People can go back and change their votes at any time. If everyone removes their votes on fixed games, they'll drop to the bottom. This is extra work for me, and I'm sorry, but I just have too much to do, especially when it's something people can fix if they'd just put in a little time. I revisit it about every 6 months.

I actually think at this point a pinned thread would be a better option that someone maintained a first post and edited here. At this point it's probably better served on discord I guess. I'm not sure votes matter that much cause Shader hackers fix what they want to fix anyway. (and rightly so.)
