another projector thread.... i need a 768 projector fast... for a 3d art project at burning man....
i just got the go ahead on a 3d art project so i need a 1024x768 projector fast (like ordering tonight). can Anyone please help? i dont have allot of time to research my options but here is what i need:
3d ready
768 rez and 4:3 aspect ratio
bright
rugged (outdoor environment)
short throw (need to blow up a large screen in reasonable distance)

He said he want a short throw. And you are wrong, I have an acer h5360 at 13 feet showing a 110 inch image and it is NOT dark. You said "only work around 65 inches" which makes no sense. It works up to 300 inches if u wish and I wish I can have my projector back further to make a screen image 120 inches (thats my 1.1 gain screen size) but I cannot because its already at the wall distance.

If you need a short throw 720p 3D ready projector, you only got two option - either Optoma GT720/GT700 or Dell S300.
AFAIK, neither support 3D vision out of the box, and most likely that can be done either with a spoof.inf workaround or firmware/hardware update through the manufacture (via RMA process).

must be über dark then. These 120hz pj's only work around 65" size with standard white matte screen IMHO, maybe 100".
