Movies: 2D to 3D conversion software?
Previously I had edimensional glasses and used to watch 2D movies in 3D by using edimensional's 3DPlus software. The 3D effect, not accurate and great though, was still better than a 2D movie.
Since Nvidia doesn't have any such software, so can't we watch 2D movies in 3D by any means?
I tried using edimensional's 3DPlus software with nvidia; didn't work !!!

Nope, currently there is no way to watch 2d media in 3d. There are a limited number of DVDs that can be found with "Field Sequential" renderings that can be viewed in 3d, but they can generally only be found online on specialized websites (there are posts on this forum with links somewhere).

Those are two good sites with some decent movies. I bought my DLP shutters from EDimentional and they were bundled with TriDef software which does convert 2D movies to 3D. http://www.ddd.com/cart/product.php?produc...at=2&page=1 Link to software $50! The software does have drivers that are needed to run properly so disabling all Nvidia 3D drivers are required and also any resize desktop option. Hope that helps!

I also have edimensional glasses and their software but I dont want to disable Nvidia's driver to do so.
I hope Nvidia comes up with a similar but better 2D-3D converter.
