What options are there for 1080p 60hz 3DTV gaming in 2016?
I've been out of the loop for a while. I decided to get back into 3D gaming and noticed I just cannot tolerate the 1080p 24hz limitation any longer, it's just too stuttery. For months I was playing games like Witcher 3, Grand Theft Auto V, Far Cry 4, Dying Light + DLC, all in 4k resolution on my 980Ti SLi system. I have this 65" LG 4k TV: http://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-65UF8500-4k-uhd-led-tv Right now games look astonishingly good at 4k resolution and all games mentioned above run locked at 60fps on my system. I decided to replay Thief 4 in 3D and while the 3D looks good, it appears I just outgrew the 24hz limitation. Dropping down to 720p gives me 60fps, but on a 65" display looks really subpar and looses its sharpness. So what options do we 3DTV gamers have in 2016 for true 1080p 60hz gaming? Has it all been forgotten with Oculus Rift right around the corner?

Passive 4K 3D TVs, using the EDID mod override, support 1920x1080p full-frame @ 60 Hz (not 1920x1080p @120 Hz, however), as well as the 4X more computationally-intensive 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz - using interlaced display (3840x1080 per eye). Note that 3DTV Play is NOT used at all...
