Elex
  3 / 3
I gave Elex another try and located a promising looking constant buffer in another shader. After some more experimentation with the idea from sgsrules in this post I finally cracked that damned shadow pattern. With that new pattern I can maybe fix some other problems but a complete fix, that includes tile lighting, is still a very long way, if possible at all.

Sounds great! At least a further step. I think you'll make it! ;) So I think I will wait playing elex, elex 3d in half a year is much cooler than elex 2d now.^^

Great news: I finally got those tile lights working :) This is the probably biggest step necessary towards a fix and means that a fix for the game itself - without the HUD which is a different story - is possible at all.
