Just installed the wrapper on The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena GOG version & unfortunately it doesn't work for me.It says "Warning: Attempt to run stereoscopic 3d in non-stereo display mode please change to an acceptable mode."I have an Asus g53jw laptop.
Forgot to mention in the Readme.txt the most important part :))
(Will update the readme file )
- BEFORE installing the wrapper go ingame and set the refresh rate as 120hz (fullscreen).
- Then install the wrapper.
- Play the game
(The game also works in window mode but with less fps ofc)
Let me know if it worked for you:)
@ All
The wrapper was created USING the GoG version (since I don't have it on Steam). I also expect it will work on other versions as well as I am not injecting anything in the game engine:)

Your "What shall I do next post" was missing the most impressive OpenGL game ever made: FreeSpace 2. The FreeSpace 2 Open Source Project: http://www.fsoinstaller.com/ has vastly improved upon the original game. The original FreeSpace 1 campaigns have been updated and ported over and a highly acclaimed campaign, "Blue Planet" has been added after the FreeSpace 2 campaign.

So...
Id's RAGE in 3D Vision... Check it out at: 3D Surround Gallery. (ScreenShots + VIDEO).
A couple of things to note:
- Menu + loading screens render in one eye
- Game is LOCKED to 60fps. This means the following:
a) I spent 1 WEEK trying to off-hook the rendered from the world time.. no success.
b) Games renders 60fps = 30 PER EYE, SEQUENTIAL frames
c) Is NOT noticeable (as seen in the video) UNLESS you MOVE fast from left to right (or vice-versa)
Thus
- SYNCHRONIZING the eyes is NOT done and is IMPOSSIBLE currently without access to the SOURCE CODE of the engine. (off-hooking the renderer from the game advancing time would be the thing to do. The internet is FULL of posts asking ID to do this...but apparently they didn't care)
- I was able to sync both eyes but the WORLD is in SLOW motion. (due to the things stated above)(So I disabled that fix in the video above and is not something really that is usable.)
- The wrapper required a massive addition of stuff to make it work like you can see if the video (from shader hooking, dumping, recompiling and linking to actual shader modification)
So, look at the video see it and judge for yourselves if you want the wrapper/ fix released or not:)
PS: Game tested on 3D Vision(SLI)/3D Vision Surround/ Laptop with GTX 555m and works exactly the same.
Let me know what you think:)

Helifax

Hey, sorry to shit up the thread, but if I just get the side by side images in Riddick (using GOG version), am I supposed to alt-tab out and then back in? Because unfortunately, if I alt tab out, the game won't resume focus and I have to kill the task... I'm probably missing something obvious.

Yep, did that in that order... I wonder if it might be related to the fact I have strobing enabled on my lightboost 2 monitor. I'll disable that and see what happens.
Edit - no change unfortunately, still got side by side with a couple of bars in the middle, where you can still see the game world but it's all pink (I'm guessing you somehow use those to calculate depth maybe? Madness)
If I hit my bind to enable 3d (control 5 on the numpad) it stutters as if enabling 3d, but nothing happens and the emitter doesn't turn on.

RAGE looks great in 3D - that was epic to see it like this. Thanks for that. Can`t wait to play it myself.
I know that Developers have used some magic tricks to create this engine and you`ve been using yours to make it other way - it`s miracle that all this still holds togeteher ;)
Thanks again for Great Work.
