i quite enjoy these games. the helix fix was good, but didnt quite get there enough. has anyone else tried the patch and got it to work 100%? hanging out for X Rebirth

I remember the target icons or crosshair weren't quite pushed out enought for me (Im fussy like that). They would often clip my ship especially the longer ones! I have a feeling pushing an already pushed back object further is child's play today. I think Helix pointed me to a site which converted decimal values to Hexdec values or something - I could probably do it myself! Regardless, the fix is better than vanilla.

It was a fairly early fix if I remember. I remember the target icons or crosshair weren't quite pushed out enought for me (Im fussy like that).
