Regardless, the OP needs an emitter, his card is too new to be using the old hacks.

Why dont you sell that Sammy and buy a Asus VG278H insteed, problem solved. It's a shame thou that Sammys new monitors dont work..the more the merrier but we seem to be out of luck there. The good news is that Asus monitors are really good, just loves my Vg278h :)

In my opinion, Nvidia has a bad business structure. They lose out on many deals themselves due to ego or greed. They only see each deal as getting the most money out of it and not the long term effect. It's a shame all these new technologies that Nvidia keeps creating are not sold to others so everyone can use them, this whole Nvidia exclusiveness has really hammered themselves. I believe if PhysX was sold to AMD and Nvidia charged royalties for X number of years, not only would they have made more money than not doing the deal, but so both companies could utilize it on their GPUs. More videogame developers would have used it in their games, thus making the tech more popular and mainstream. This never happened, and Nvidia is doing the same crap with 3D vision. Hammering the innovation because they want to get more $$$. In the long term, they would of made more $$$ if they saw the bigger picture that better overall quality gaming and entertainment creates more money for everyone! They should of charged the 3D vision as software like what TriDef 3D did, not as glasses and emitter kit. It's obvious the manufactures of displays would put their own emitters into their displays one day. Bottom line, less consumers of 3D, means less people working on it, and even less reason for videogame developers to design games for 3D. Same with PhysX.
