No SLI in 3D Mode?
So i noticed when i enable 3d mode:Gtx 295(Dual PCB) card loses its SLI and runs on single GPU (different temps, one GPU is heating while second stays cold and unused). Now i'm unsure about getting bundle...

GTX 295 is two GTX 280s on a single board. One card is already using 2 way SLI. For 2 295s, you'd be running 4-way SLI.

Don't think my 295 is working properly with 3d vision either. In the crysis demo for example when the stereoscopic driver is installed I only get about 30% of the fps I get normally.

3d Vision does support 2-way SLI. It does not support 3-way SLI or quad-SLI yet.

Works brilliantly with SLI on my system. Are you sure your nvidia control panel isn't somehow defaulting to single-gpu mode when you enable stereo 3d?

GTX 295 = two GTX 275's (clocked to GTX 260 specs) in one card

Stereoscopic 3d mode eats about half of your normal non-stereo fps in any game, doesn't have anything to do with SLI. Having SLI helps balance it out by giving you more power and higher fps in either mode.

Sli bars are visible in some games indicating sli is working in 3d mode. In other games it is turned off. So i take it sli is supported but not always works as it is supposed to while in 3D.

I totally understand that. I mean with stereo 3d disabled in the control panel (ie no 3d stereo in game) and purely having the 3d stereo driver installed or not, my fps changes dramatically.

Nice post edit - I love it when people reply after editing the original post, as if I might be a mind-reading time traveler.

Anyways, 2 way SLI works fine in 3d - I have 2 8800 ultras, and they both heat up in any game with an SLI profile, or any game where I force SLI FSAA.

WHAT? My 3-way SLI isn't being used? SOB!!!!!!!!! Oh boy I hope they start to support this soon... as the games coming out get more and more gpu intensive they're going to need to compensate by supporting 3-way SLI and quad sli. Andrew, can we get confirmation that you guys will support tri and quad sli?

All i edited was "(Dual PCB)"

And i was asking why gtx 295 "internal sli" doesn't work with 3d mode..
