He He - I see what you did there mate :)
You have no idea how many times I almost wrote Max Payne in Nvidia Inspect when looking for Mad Max :)
Thanks for that read on the differences between Mad Max and JC3. I agree with Helifax that those are the lamest justifications I've read all year. All this effort on game engines and lighting systems that doesn't markedly change the way games look. No SLI is just sloppy and another kick in the nuts for PC gaming.
Folks, this one is probably DOA. The game crashes with 3Dmigoto installed, right when you get to the final 'resume' screen. All logs indicate no problems, and the crash is off in nvidia land somewhere. Doesn't seem directly related to us. My best guess is overall game instability, same sort of stuff killing AMD users.
Secondly, based on that read, that means that the game engine is completely different than the Mad Max engine, even though it has the same name. Yeah, thanks. That means that the Mad Max fix is probably unrelated to JC3 in any aspect, so it's start over from scratch time on making a fix.
I'll still look at it a bit later once they finish the game, but this one doesn't seem worth the effort.

Thankfully I only paid 23.96 for this game I really don't care about the different engines the game should work no excuses.
When the Dev says Day One Patch watch out.
Only CM profile that worked for me is from Mad Max. Other made game look weird - 3D like but without any depth or ability to adjust anything.
I don`t think that anybody will bother about this game until it`s Patched - at this stage it is overall mess. If you remember Arkham Knight then imaging this one being even worse.

Hmm, ok, nothing for me with these problems.
I also wanted to play new COD with Buddie @ koop, but I've read that there is also no real 3D and Fallout 4 isnt my favourite game.
Maybe I should have a break playing computer games and wait for VR.
It was absolutely the right choice to sell my SLI Surround 3D Vision Setup.
More and more 3D Problems and no more Out of Box 3D Support, what a mess.
I got only one GPU and one old VG278H left, no more NVIDIA investments on my to do list.
Thanks again modders, without you Id sell my system and would go back playing console games.
I dont need expensive PC Equipment playing @ 2D :-/

No need to weep - dry your eyes mate... :)
Allmost every game worth playing has been fixed by the talented Guys, from this community..
I will also like to play Just Cause 3 in 3D - but I'l just wait and see, cross my fingers, and hope it eventually gets a fix..
In the meantime I'l play all the other great 3D games in my backlog :)
PS. If you think there will be more support on the VR platform, you will be disapointed...

Almost every AAA title gets fix by the community and games that I would never dream of getting fixed end up being fixed.
Just Cause 3 and Batman Arkham Knight don't work in 2D so how could they work in 3D. There are hundreds of games in my backlog.
If anyone thinks VR in it's current state is going to next big thing it's not.
It's new it's cool and it's different. Just remember people complain about 3D glasses with 3D, VR you are now wearing a scuba mask.
Batman performs very well right now and received great support (forgetting about - how long it took). Only problem, as Mike suggested is with dynamic shadows - the way they are created in this game. He didn`t find the way to fix them yet.
BTW: One of the programmers from CD Project RED answered question about VR in future games like Witcher or Cyberpunk. What he said was that if technology will be available for average consumer then support will be natural step forward because from technological point implementation of VR isn`t very challenging :)

Sad to hear you sold your 3D Surround setup. Really sad:(
I still think 3D Surrround KICKS ass (as all the people that I showed it too). I can agree sometimes is very VERY VERRRRYY hungry... and requires the most expensive hardware (hell my 2x780Tis seem to show their age, but I am not sure even with 2x980Tis I will be able to PUSH everything in 3D Surround @ 5760xx1080 at 60fps).
That's the trade-off... we take a bit from here and there to make it work;)) But the immersion is awesome, as you know;)
The only 2 games that I have to dial down the resolution a bit are:
- Witcher 3 (lowering the res one step down gives me 35-40 fps in 3D Surround compared to 20-25...damn power hungry game:)) )
- SW:Battlefront (cause you really need the 60+ fps in that game if you want to "live". 40+ doesn't cut it ^_^)
Batman performs very well right now
Not for everyone, and they've decided not to pursue SLI support despite promising they would.
I got much less 3D problems since downgrading. It was very frustrating using 3D Vision Surround and all that troubleshooting and performance problems with 3D Vision in combination with SLI, Widescreenfixers and what else.
When you got only 2 or 3 hours per week! for your gaming hobbie you wanna play ... and not troubleshooting.
Also my 780 OC SLI was much too slow for this ... and newer games were just unplayable @3D Surround. I dont know how you can be satisfied using 780 Ti SLI helifax ... thats not much faster than my old Sys. And downgrading from native solution (e.g. 3840*720) wasn´t an opinion for me. And often I got micro stuttering in cause of lack of Vram (3 GB).
I sold two of my VG278H and both 780 GPUs and ordered a Single GTX 970. A few weeks later a friend of mine sold his 980 Ti and I got that GPU for 500,-. That was ok and 3D performance is good @ 1920*1080 ... older games with DSR @ 2560*1440.
You should order 2*GTX 980TI helifax for your Surround SYS. Everything below ist too slow playing newer games with moderate frame rates. And thats about 1600,- ... much money :-/
And then you dont know whats about SLI Support in common future. You wanna play JC3 or Batman, because these are favourite games you were looking forward to play? Oh, what a mess ... no SLI Support and no 3D Vision Surround with these titles ... and then you gotta answering the question spending 1600,- bucks to Nvidia. Thats not my way its meant to be played and spending a lot of money again and again.
@VR: I tested DK2 and for sure VR will support 3D with all the titles on VR ... dont know what you mean Blacksmith.
For sure resolution isnt that good at the moment, but it will be in a few years. I´d prefer using both systems (3D Vision and VR) side by side and Im hoping that 3D Vision will continue ... but what happens with 3D Vision when you modders quit fixing games?

Depends on your preferences;) Lucky for me I am not a fan of JC3;)) The Batman games were nice;) The last Batman game I still have to purchase;)
I am perfectly fine playing in 3D Surround @ 30-35fps. I accept 30fps over 60/120 in 2D any day;)) but this is just me;) I can always go to one screen if I find that Surround is too demanding;)
I agree that 2x980Tis would be the best way to go;) but I am not giving up on my 780Tis just yet;) as they still kick ass and have plenty of performance;)
I also have a huge backlog of older games to play for which I don't require 2x980Tis to play in Surround;)
But I agree with you! Tinkering will all the settings and stuff has become more tedious lately...
Also, need to mention that more and more of the latest games support eyefinity/surround out of the box;) so the need to fix games in surround is lesser;)

What I ment was that VR - just like 3D Vision - never becomes mainstream tech !
It is tech for neards like you and me - and not the average gamer.
So when VR eventually gets released for the masses - sure there will be alot of hype and games support.
Butt.. when the smoke lifts of - just like 3DV - there will be a lack of support from the devs, because the userbase is to small and there is no Money in it - Again... just like 3D vision.
So in a fews years there will be a community like this, where the members are struggling with VR fixes for the the new games... Just wait and se :) (In a way - I do not hope that I'm right :)
