Conan481 - our Ori slowdown issue may be related to our use of 3DTV Play, versus 3D Vision? Something is unique in our setup, or more people would be commenting about the game's unusual performance.
DHR - do you know if your mod has been tested using 3DTV Play, in 1080p mode (not 720p)?

I'm playing with 3DTV play at 720p (win7 64).....not tested with 1080p at 24...this game is not for 24fps. Maybe the issue is related to win8 or win8.1

The game speed is related to the FPS. On my laptop if I am using battery and also using battery boost with a limit on 30fps the game plays in slow motion')) Maybe something similar is what he is seeing?

I have observed the slowdown with both 3DTV Play (24 fps Desktop/game) and optimized for geforce 3D mode (EDID mod, see https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/818183/3d-vision/gtx-970-4k-3d-vision-gaming-success-with-lgub850v-passive-tv-/post/4505437/#4505437- 60 fps Desktop/game). However, no slowdown occurs when running the game in 2D, with 3D Vision disabled. The intro sequence is also shorter with 3D Vision disabled. Strange.
The 3D looks great!
If you are using win8/8.1...that may be the cause.
Without the fix, the game runs normal in S3D? If the answer is yes, you can try using the shaderfixes folder with flugan wrapper. In the sign of flugan is the download link. Flugan wrapper have better compatibilty with win8
The game is 32bits btw.

I have to reboot your PC every time ... without correcting the game works fine.
Any idea ?

Crash of the game , it seems damn called "GameOverlayRenderer.dll"
After starting the STEAM, delete the file and the game worked. Turned off the game and returned the file to a place ...
WIN 7 64 .

I tried replacing Helix Mod Ori's D3D11.dll with the latest version from https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=117C0642B02D02D9&id=117c0642b02d02d9%2193971&authkey=%21AA97a7Gp8ow-z_o, but the screen freezes. The Helix Mod Ori version works great - provides great S3D, but interactive character motion seems to be about 1/2 speed when using either 3DTV Play or optimized for geforce 3D mode, Windows 8.1.
With 3D Vision disabled (no 3D), the 2D game provides normal interactive character speed.

I'm currently playing through this, and it's absolutely beautiful in 3D, the fix is perfect. Unfortunately, they've just updated it to run in a borderless window instead of fullscreen. This prevents 3D from activating. I've tried changing profile to 3D hub player, but no change. Any ideas?
I've sent a message to the programmer asking if there's a way to force true fullscreen, haven't heard back yet.

Ah bugger. I've been concerned that a DX11 Unity game would do this, because we don't currently have a reliable way to force them to exclusive full screen mode. The plan is to get 3Dmigoto to force this - with the newly restored DXGI support this is theoretically possible (@bo3b - if you look at this before me, I've noticed that Unity sets full screen mode with a device reset rather than the initial creation), but if you find an alternate solution please let me know.

Big thanks for the heads up;)) I was lucky to be able to backup the exe before steam updated.
Also after steam updated the game I was able to replace the new exe with the old one and it worked just fine;))
I don't think this was intended as I can't see any reason why this would be an intended feature/fix, but who knows...

I had said earlier that I thought Steam was forcing auto-updates at launch, but that's not exactly right. If you drop an older exe in overtop the latest update, it won't recheck at every launch, it'll just accept it. So that forced update is an in-between state. If the game actually updates, you'll be forced to take the update, but we can still jack with it.
I found this with Dead Space 2, where they gave us every gun and ammo for free. If you drop in the old exe it works like the devs made it, and that technique still works on Steam. So I confirm Helifax's experience.
