SINGLE best 3D game - Which one has to be crowned?
1 / 3
I know there are many games out there which provide excellent stereoscopic 3D and we already have several threads in which users name different titles which they like 3D-wise. In most cases users name 3-10 titles the enjoy exceptionally.
I would like to know which one is your personal 3D-King (just one pick per person!) and a short description why you think that this specific title earns the Top-Spot.
It doesn't matter if your pick is excellent by default or only after applying fixes. The only thing that matters is the end-result.

Batman: Arkham City
1. 3D Vision works immediately. (I know you said its doesnt matter, but this matters to me)
2. Game has open city and flying between buildings with 3D Vision is very cool.
3. Even the menu takes advange of 3D Vision with stereoscopic bats. I said "wow." before I even played the game.
4. Its a good game.

3D King? There are too many games out there that work very very well in 3D. I can't give only 1. The ones that really stand out are the ones that look like toyification models. Like Trine and Diablo. It totally depends on what type of game you want to play.
I'd say Trine 2 beats everything out there because of it's beauty.

hard to go for one, for me it would be among Trine 2, Batman AC, The Witcher 2 and Skyrim.
All hail 3d modders DHR, MasterOtaku, Losti, Necropants, Helifax, bo3b, mike_ar69, Flugan, DarkStarSword, 4everAwake, 3d4dd and so many more helping to keep the 3d dream alive, find their 3d fixes at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ Also check my site for spanish VR and mobile gaming news: www.gamermovil.com
Since having to only pick one then I would have to choose Batman: Arkham City.
My son was a Gamestop manager (he recently went into the U.S. Air Force), and told me many of their customers thought that stereo 3D was only just a gimmick. He asked me if I would take my laptop (I have an ASUS ROG G75VW-D73-3D) Nvidia 3D Ready to the shop and let a few customers see 3D in action.
One Saturday we set up and I showcased Batman: Arkham City in the store. Everybody that stopped to check the game out their jaws dropped at actually getting the chance to see stereo 3D in all its glory. They became totally immersed into the game.
So, at least for me anyway, that is the game that showcases stereo 3D and would be my Top-pick.

Yeah that's the HUGE problem of 3d, until you show it working to someone, most of them won't believe how good it is. I showed it to my brother and a month later he purchased the 3d vision kit and monitor.

Witcher 2(Biased)
Im an rpg player mainly, though I have been branching out I still favor RPG'S. Though I easily spent more time playing Mass Effect 3 and it is phenomenal as well. Witcher 2 has not a single issue/ "immersion breaker". With adjusting, you can set convergence of in cinematics/out .3D experience with no hassle or reduction of settings. Witcher 2 in 3D is part movie/game/experience.
Trine 2(Unbiased)
Its probably the game Id use to show off 3D. Though to be honest its only a pretty good game. It didnt really change from the first one and once you playthrough it.. you probably wont again. It is beautiful though and its "layered" design makes it almost seem that it was developed for 3D. It almost feels like the designers had 3D Glasses on when developing.

I agree with DHR on Dead Space 2 (Helix Fix). This without a doubt reigns the top for me because of the immersion and the atmosphere this game has. The 3D Helix fix ia a must because it is unplayable in 3D otherwise. I also really enjoy the pace, storyline and the overall production. Playing Dead Space 2 in 3D is the closest thing to experiencing as if you were living in Isaac's shoes. No other game has affected me this way.
Dead Space 1 with Helix fix is also awesome. I highly recommend anyone to purchase Dead Space 1 & 2. Steam has an Autumn sale and don't be surprised if these two go on sale for under $10. This is a 3D must with Helix fixes.

Arkham City and Witcher 2 are the best I've ever seen. If you don't sneak in Skyrim you can turn on the laser sight and it looks more epic than the epicest thing ever! If you do sneak though... the HeliX mod helps a ton but there's only so much it can do about a HUD element.

Well I just got my system set up but The Secret World looks great in 3d.
Tomb raider looks and runs super.
And Guild Wars 2 looks wild.
On first look Skyrim has a lot of Glitches, but I'll have to work on that because every one says it is good.
I haven't gotten Age of Conan to run in 3d yet but it's turned into one of my favorite games.
