Would you buy again?
Just seeking a little advice from people.

I recently purchased the bundle from Nvidia, The glasses were slightly faulty. The left eye works well a little ghosting but not much however the right eye for the left field of veiw show a lot of ghosting, the center is okay, and when I focus on the edge of the screen the left side ghosting goes away. Basicly it appears that the shuttering is not working well for the far left side of the right lense

So I am sending them back, the kicker is I purchased the bundle and now have to send the monitor back as well as the kit. Which is very annoying and could become very expensive if I have to keep paying for shipping.

Luckilly they are paying for the shipping back this time.

Now what I am wondering is how common is this? If I get another bundle will the glasses be fine and work as well as the left eye of my current set in both eyes. Or is it somewhat random and my current set of glasses is considered normal (within tolerence of the technology). If my current set is considered normal then I would likley wait and see what else comes down the pipe, maybe wait until I can get the montior seperate and the glasses in the store for ease of return.

Thanks

I'm speculating since I'm going on your description and I can't compare your glasses to mine, but it sounds like a faulty pair. I definitely see some ghosting in games but it is equal for both eyes and not that big of a deal imho. If it was just the right eye screwing up then yeah, see what happens with the new pair.

What game were you testing it with? Did the issue appear in more than just one game?

Mass effect, but I also notice it in the testing video, and if I turn my head about 5-10 degrees to the right in the setup test with the hexagons and triangles

When I bought my Zalman 22" there wasn't a good alternative.
In the same situation I would definitely pay 550 euro's (+ 125 for the NVidia Graphics Card) again.
Right now I would first try the Samsung. 1680x525 is okay, but 1680x1050 would be better. Furthermore, games that don't support 1680x1050 aren't playable in 3d at all with the Zalman.

When I am generally not trying get "in" the game, but play while doing other things (like grinding) i don't use 3D, but anytime I have the chance to cut off the rest of the world, on come the glasses. I love it. I would buy again and I plan to buy an extra set of glasses so I can enjoy the experience with a friend.
