Guys, if you like the 6DOF games take a look at Retrovirus.
They recently added 3D Vision support to their game and it is 99.9% 3D Vision ready. Its not as fast paced as Descent, but being a modern game set inside a virus ridden computer it looks great, and really benefits from 3D.

Looks like the discussion someone started paid off, very nice indeed.

looks very trippy, and has full controller support. Still curious about the gameplay.
Bloomin tempted.
What's the 0.1%? Its not the crosshair is it? Whatever it is can you disable it?
edit
Just looked at TsaebehT's link and saw the dev's support. That has justified my money!

the 0.1% is some spark effects that dont look quite right, and the weapons are quite big, and when you get close to walls they can seem to clip through them due to the depth. Other than that its all brilliant.

I want to buy it and play it with a wireless 360 controller but I can't find anything about whether or not it has rumble support ... not a huge deal breaker but I definitely like the feedback.

Yeah I said the hell with it and bought it too. I loved Decent back in the day, I think I had it for Playstation, great game that worked really well with a controller.

I played it a bit last night, I thought it was pretty cool. I liked the virus coming out of the screen and flying around a bit before it burrowed into the system. I found the controls way too touchy on a 360 controller and there wasn't any rumble but I just wanted to take a look at it in 3D and before I knew an hour had past and I had to be up in 4 hours. :D

Definitely buying this game tonight! I loved Descent, and still play it occasionally in 3D using the DXX-Rebirth engine and GLDirect. It's awesome; with robot shards and missiles flying out of the screen. Just wish you could use high-resolution textures and models, though.
