what win7 applications use 3D? add your favorite applications that implement 3D

HI, I'm using the 3D vision glasses and a 3D card. That's all good, but I'm finding that (outside of games) there are fewer application making use of this than I had expected.
I would be interested in hearing from other about what applications are starting to include 3D display.
I think it would be great to use it for the windows desktop, layering open windows. Or perhaps there is a way to use it in photoshop. Are there websites that use it? I'm a new user so I'd love to hear of all the different and new ways that applications have found to utilize this capability.
I believe there are other threads that list games that use 3D, but here let's list examples from the other areas of software that implement 3D...

Yes, but only when using tridef ignition, right?
You will need a Quadro card but here is a list of applications that are OpenGL stereo, including CAD:

We support Google Earth since R265 drivers. Try it, works great.

I am using driver version 266.66 on GTX 560 TI, so Google Earth should display 3d, but I can't get it to work (without using tridef). Is there some special command to enable this, or how to I turn 3D on?

Whitecap which is a music visualizer works perfect with 3d Vision. And it looks awsome, even in 2d.

Thanks, this suggestion was a new one for me. I installed the free version, but wasn't able to make this run in 3D mode. Looked through the options but couldn't find a way to turn it on.
As I'm having the same problem with google earth, maybe there is some special key stroke to turn 3d on? (I tried using the nvidia executable called "Enable 3D vision" - but no effect.

I didn't run any options, I just just have the 3d Vision on, and it just works for me as soon as I start it up. Make sure you go full screen, not windowed.

So, I've taken my little side issue off to another thread. And it seems like my initial impressions are proving kind of realistic.
We have a new technology, but it has been adopted in just a few applications. (Google Earth, wincap visualizer, any others ???). As of spring 2011 it isn't possible to run windows with a 3D user interface, and there aren't any 3D modelling applications that utilize the technology. That seems rather underutilized, wouldn't you say?

How do you turn whitecap on in 3D mode? I find it only runs in 2D and wondered if you found an option to make it work with Nvidia's 3D system?

You have make full screen for it to work. When it does, it looks perfect.

That's strange, because I contacted Whitecap asking about it, and they replied "None of SoundSpectrum's visualizers support 3D currently."

Wow, this is (almost) unbelievable! the nvidia 3D system has been totally shut out of the regular consumer software world (outside of games). I would have to get a quadro card if I want to use 3d with good software.
And for this little game thing, we got two impaired suggestions for google earth (don't believe it, requires tridef) and whitecap (not supported).
Sure, games, ok. But its so obvious that there's really NOTHING else.
One suspects there must be some very bad business decision operating behind the scenes to make this so unsupported.
