optima 3d converter vs mit 3d converter.

its only for mitsubishi tv's but does it do the same thing as the optoma [url="http://www.optomaeurope.com/projectordetailshe.aspx?ShowMenu=HE&PTypedb=Home%20Entertainment&PC=3D-XL"]http://www.optomaeurope.com/projectordetai...nt&PC=3D-XL[/url] converter box.


and the new 738 series comes with a 3d emitter so does it not need this converter box. is it 3dtv compatable (1.4a hdmi)

No. The mit converter converts the input to checkerboard format for the older dlp tv's. The optoma converts to 120hz sequential for Optoma 3D ready projectors. We don't yet know if the Optoma converter will work on other brand DLP 3D ready projectors.
