Sony HMZ-T3W
So I just bought one from a chick on ebay for 300. It's a pretty tight fit for my long head and I can see the "parenthesis" of the left and right sides of the lenses but seems pretty much what I was looking for so far. ([____]) <----- Pretty much what it looks like on the inside. The screen edges stop just in time to not have anything go into the peripheral. And I have to disable dsr on my laptop screen in order to use dsr for the headset which puts it back to 1080p. So everything does look crisp but I cannot dsr them to 4K. They really should have separated the battery pack from the headset and put a screw insert (like a coaxl cable has) if they were worried about it getting disconnected. With that said, all I need to do is install the 3Dvision drivers in order for non sbs/ou to kick in although the headset wont use nvidia's settings right?

Tis supported via 3DTV Play in a Frame Packed format over a HDMI connection. AFAIK, it does not support Frame Sequential. [quote="Arni1984VR"]I am use HMZ since 2011. I bought this back around that time for over $900 and I could only use it with 3D TV play over HDMI 720p @ 60hz or 1080p @ 24hz. Needless to say, I returned this product.

Yes. This is only 720p 3D. But this is the only head-mounted 3D display that supports the NVIDIA 3D Vision. There are several Chinese analogues with a resolution of 1080p. But they are incompatible with 3D Vision

the problem with those 2 are the built in headphones. once they give, they give and you dont have a way to use custom headphones. So you'd be left with half a product. Both aviant and royal you can see peripheral view of the outside instead of complete darkness. And the areas around the eye pieces are white which makes it even worse. The sony hmzt3w, you can use with a wire and without. although defaultly, the screen is 720p, you can literally go in the nvidia cpl and change the rez to 1080p and both the headset and your pc with be in 1080p resolution. Alot of reviewers are saying that the visual quality of the sony is better than the glyph.

It will still be 1280x720 pixels on every day that ends in Y. Using a higher resolution only results in downsampling and is used simply for anti-aliasing. Depending on the source material, there are often better solutions for AA in relation to quality or performance.

I'm looking right at the pc. The statement that you're saying is false, is not false. When hooking the thing to the pc, it defaults to 720p on both the labtop screens in which I can go in the control panel and put the headset in 1080p and my desktop will change to 1080p with it. There is no lie involved that it can use the 1080p resolution.
