Hello. I have 3 HP 23xi Monitors in 2D nvidia surround. I have a 4th accessory display hooked up also which is a Samsung 40 inch 120Hz 3D HDTV. I want to play games in 3D on the Samsung and still be in 2D surround mode on the HP displays. Is this possible? The only way I can get this to work is to disable surround on the HP displays and put the Samsung as my main monitor. I am running one GTX 680. Thanks for any help.

Games will (generally) only launch on the primary display. If you want to switch between surround on your three main monitors and 3d on the TV, you're going to have to adjust settings every time. Personally I'm running Ultramon (a must for multiple displays anyway), and I've set up one profile for my two displays, and another for when I turn on my projector - I have desktop shortcuts to toggle quickly between the two setups. You may want to consider something like this. I'm considering changing to DisplayFusion for the same functionality, as it looks to be more feature-rich.

I am on Windows 7 Professional so I haven't run into any Windows 8 issues. I downloaded Ultramon before but never realized why I needed it. I'll do some research into the subject. If I can somehow switch primary monitors with one click then it would definitely be worth it. Thanks for the info!
