A few problems with 3d vision.
Will you post your specs in your sig please? Just the vitals...

With regard to uninstalling drivers the guide on the CD says to just remove the nVidia drivers. I think that automatically gets rid of the other bits. The PhysX is a seporate system and I think you will now need to redownload that separately from the nVidia site. Can anyone confirm that?

Have you got a super big monitor or something? If you have a 22" thats not right. Will you take a screenshot of ME2 please. I cant remember the keys - Alt +F1 or Ctrl + F1. The shots are stored in documents\NVStereoscopic3D.IMG

Does the Test stereoscopic 3D work ok? The one with the floaty nVidia sign in the 3D vision control panel. What is that like?

Intel Core i5 750 OC 3.66ghz
ASUS nVidia 9800gt Hybrid 512mb
4gb Dual Channell DDR3 16000mhz Ram
WD 640gb 7200rpm 32mb cache HDD
Asus VG236H 23" 1920x1080 120hz 2ms response monitor.

Screenshot is alt+f1 - uploading image now, taking a while for some reason.

The test works perfect now after going to those CD drivers. It looks exactly like 2d but you need the glasses. When you increase depth it just becomes out of focus but not double image. Without glasses i could count 3 images when you look at the N for nvidia but with glasses its 1 image but blurry.

I'll wait for the Liara DLC before I get back to ME. BTW, there are no lens flares in my ini !!
Meanwhile, I have good results modding Borderlands too look like ME ;-)
I think I like it better than the whole ME universe afterall and I "was" a fan ( sure I am) - but Borderlands is way too good to ignore.
If ME2 gameplay mechanics had an inspiration, it was Borderlands ;-)

http://readalert.atw.hu/asd.zip ~~~> not so extreme screenshots
http://readalert.atw.hu/borderl.zip <- rather extreme depth here.I have to disable HUD because of doubling here & there.

Way to check screenshots: unpack each file into some directory, select all, and drag & drop into 3d vision video player ( !!! this is important, dont use the photo viewer , thats a junk!!! ). Once there, you can scroll back & forth with F2 - F3 buttons. Freeze = Space.

Going to take 1-2 weeks before your eyes adapt. Thats why you should play another game yet ;)

Oh and you should make an SLI with that 9800GT , I have GTS250 SLI, that is around 110% faster than your card, and its barely enough for 720p S3d . OFC 60 fps matters to me LOL.

I have fix 60fps with 720p 4x MSAA in mass effect2 . 4x MSAA eats 50% fps in this game (bad implementation). I see you dont have MSAA engaged, and since 4x MSAA @ 720p must be the same workload as 1080p NoAA, and I have 80-90 % GPU utilization, I dont think you have the 60fps cap.

Are you sure you have applied the fix? I notice the glow from the light on the left hand side is off. You also have the crosshair on. This is 2D so if you are using it to aim it will do your head in and everything will blur. That might be half the problem. No crosshair for this game I'm afraid. You get used to it very quickly. To do this Press F12 if you are using Trit's fix. You lose the bottom part of the HUD but the top part remains. Fortunately the HUD acts as normal when you go into the pause/combat mode if you know what I mean.

Do me a favour and try playing the game without the crosshair. Print screen it and let me know how you got on.

Apart from the light and the crosshair the 3D looks ok. Very low setting though. People with 23" monitor can have 100% depth no worries.

Incidently, have you looked at the screenshot yourself to see if it works? For some reason I need to open them up in nvidia stereoscopic player, then double click on the screen to make it work...

Thanks

Three images! Thats wierd! When you say looks like 2D is that because it looks good?

I can get all my games loaded up with 3d vision. bioshock 2, everyone says that is perfect but to me its ugly. I see 2 images and i cant get them lined up. switching glasses off makes the images go further appart and putting them on makes them go closer but not by much.

Im on windows 7 64bit if that helps.
Tried without crosshair. Still looks the same even with the patch/fix I will turn down all the settings in the config, maybe try different rest. Also im noticing some double shadows. It was the mission where you first find tali and you gotta stay out of the sun. I see only 1 sun but i see 2 shadows. 1 perfect the other a long rectangle.

Just tried BF2 and RaceOn properly. BF2 has the best 3d so far but ALOT of bugs ( weapons doubled etc) Race on is just perfect. Lots of depth into it but not a lot of pop out but is still 100x better than 2d. Could be more if i could race with 20cars instead of 5.
Fallout 3 is also amazing. I got geoform to run longer but when i press a key it just crashes. Some of the effects it puts out jump out of the screen, others just fee 2d despite in 3d.

thanks for your help guys! i think it was the drivers i had first installed that was causing all this. Is there any websites

You need to download the latest patch

It's not the best game in 3d ,but it does look alot better if you have the latest patch.
