It's Crytek's fault for implementing its own 3D mode in the engine that conflicts with 3D vision... or something like that.

Correct me if I´m wrong but I think you´re mistaking Crysis 2 with Crysis 1. Crysis 2 was the game where Crytek implemented like a fake 3D. In Crysis 1 it is my believe that they didnt do anything regarding 3D.
I just reinstalled Crysis 2 last night with the "Maldo Mod" and "Blackfire Mod", it does look better in 2D (along with the dx11 and high textures and 1.9 patches), I´m gonna try it in 3D tonight and see what´s that "fake" 3D everyone talked about.
Regarding Crysis 1, do you guys have suggestions on which mods I should install to make it even prettier?

If the miniscule max depth is too much for you (if you know what I mean) you can ammend the ini file to force it beyond the 10% or so depth it peaks at - seach the forums here. Once you crank up the depth you will see how Crytek got the game to render the 2.5D. It is quite interesting - though difficult to play. It reminds me of the effect migranes have on your vision, without the pain.

Sniper V2 Looks very cool but 3d not working, the menu shows an option to enable AMD HD3D but 3D vision is not working properly with 301.24 driver, anyone got a fix for the shadows already? even at low they are totally out of the Objects.

Its dx11. We can only fix dx9 with helix. I dont think its possible to disable any way tbh. I manually tried to change adjust it out but its lowest setting even in the files is low.

Sniper Elite V.2
Issues: shadows are off and CAN NOT BE TURNED OFF.
crosshairs are 2D
Rating: Poor/Fair
I dont recommend this unless a fan of series and many users will prefer it with 3d off. Some users say they have found way to make it playable and even enjoyable using low depth settings.

If someone owns it and is interested I guess. Shadows takes a skill hand and only two people can fix it(probably) and they probably don't own it. May be a while if ever, sorry. Personally I am sticking to Unreal Engine Games because I know I can fix everything but shadows. Maybe sooner or later I will know what I am doing with other stuff.
Good news, Game of thrones uses Unreal Engine = ). Hopefully it doesnt suck....
