Give "Devil May Cry 4" a try. Very well ported, runs smooth with (except AA - at 8x) highest options enabled on GTX280 Sli/I7-920 with great effects. I ran just the benchmark and watched.... WOW!

I've got to throw my hat in for Devil May Cry 4... In my opinion, the 3D was better than Batman AA! Any time you got a new ability or orb or whatever, the thing pops out in front of your face! Absolutely the best 3D I've seen in a game.
I've been playing with my XBox 360 controller, and if can get a wired one or the "Wireless Reciever for Windows" for the wireless controller... it's actually a really enjoyable game. And again... best 3D experience I've had so far. In fact, I'm in the middle of playing it (I think I'm just about at the end), and saw something in 3D that made me pause the game and type this out.

I have always loved trackmania, and 3d vision just revitalized the whole experience. Just awesome. Tried mass effect 2, was ok - ghosting in some areas, took a few screens very early in the game if you wanna take a look: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=VK27SR2Q
Going to get batman, avatar and devil may cry now... four days with 3d and im sold. How can 2d ever be the same? O.o (and how will i get work done tomorrow)

I haven't tried a great many games yet (just built the PC a week ago). I bought Dragon Age, Tomb Raider Underworld and Avatar ...
... and Avatar is just in a different league.
Everything works, nothing has to be disabled, no convergence issues, lots and lots of pop-out and a ton of depth if you so desire. Effects are especially magnificent (when a stream of flames erupted out of the screen for the first time I ... well, I'm not going to elaborate any further) and the whole game just looks that much better in 3d. For some reason the texture work always seemed a little odd and fuzzy in 2d, but it works brilliantly in 3d. 3d really turned an average game into an exciting experience here. I hope this won't be the last game to receive a special treatment like that.

In my limited experience so far I've found Dragon Age:Origins, Oblivion, and Tomb Raider:Underworld the best 3D experiences.
Mass Effect's (both 1 & 2) Aiming Reticle and [Item] brackets, along with over-bright ghosting - ruin the 3D immersion for me, so it's 2D for those.
RE5 was great but the lack of Convergence tuning was a big disappointment.
Other notables are Burnout Paradise and the Avatar demo.
Upcoming on my 3D hit-list are Avatar, Prototype, Devil May Cry 4 (due to the praises here), and of course Bioshock 2!
I find that unless I'm 100% happy with the 3D experience in a game, it's back to 2D so I don't get annoyed while playing. Annoyance and Immersion are mutually exclusive /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
p.s. I find the best way to get a good depth/convergence mix in any 3rd person game is to take off the glasses, zoom your character to your most-used distance from the screen, and then alter convergence until your character is solid (both images converge). = perfect blend of depth/popout.
p.s.2 Often the best blend of convergence/depth is at around 25%-33% depth in my many fiddlings thus far.
*EDIT* I just turned OFF High Quality Overbright Bloom in the graphics settings in ME2 and the overbright-ghosting issue is GONE. Reticle and [] still a pain unless I turn depth to 15% or so.

Same here. I just bought Mass Effect 2. No way I'll be playing that in 3d: So much ghosting (which is neither the fault of the glasses nor of the Samsung monitor here), reflections are all wrong, reticule and all the little targeting boxes are at the wrong depth and I even have to disable shadows (which is a big no-no for me). The lens flare effects which are pretty much a trademark of ME's visual style also become a huge annoyance.

There are fixes for mass effect one and two. You find it at my site in my sig or by looking around this forum.

Quicky - Avatar Game in 3d - absolutely and totally MIND BLOWINGLY good. If you have the 3D kit, you HAVE to get this just to show off what it can do - no game comes close for the perfect depth/popup combination. It feels like a denser, lusher, and more intense Crysis - environment-wise.
I just set Bloom OFF - left everything else maxed, turned Gamma to 1.05, and set Depth Intensity to 1 (which is 50% I believe). It's just perfect, an orgasm for the eyes.
If developers can use this as an example, I can't see why future AAA games can't be as excellent in 3D as they are in 2D.
go for burn out paradise its the best 3d racin game, it has a lot of obstacles to break particles and it runs very smooth, codwaw, mdwf2
I can get alot of my games to run smooth but when Burnout picks up speed, it tends to chug (even with setting at low).
Any advice?

Does the full game run better in 3d than the demo? Because that game was putting my PC to shame and i have a GTX295 and a q9550 quad core.

The full game runs fine (around 30 fps with the occasional spikes and valleys) on my i5-660-GTX 275 combo with pretty much everything set to high and ultra high (ultra high shadow and shader settings cripple my framerate) in Dx10 (way faster than Dx9). I got a huge performance boost by going from the 1.20 driver set to the 1.18a driver set. The game also crashed every 30 minutes with the 1.20 release in Dx10.

Sadly the reticule is only a slight part of the problem. There's still the issue with the brackets, the lens flares, the shadows, the atmospheric effects, the reflections ... pretty much everything except for the base meshes and textures is broken in 3d.
