Trouble getting started
I have recently bought the Nvidia 3d vision kit, I puchased a BenQ monitor and I currently have a Asus G74SX laptop. It has a NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560M video card.

I insert the cd to install the drivers for geforce (the CD came with the monitor) When I hit the first driver it says "access denied", Then when I hit install 3d drivers it says install geforce drivers first.

At the moment I am simply downloading the drivers it says I need. I hope that will work, but unfortunatly I use my canopy internet (Horrible, just horrible internet service). The drivers will take awhile to download.

Anyone been as confused as I am, if so I need to find out exactly what I need to do. I can't find "Delete nvidia display drivers" it's irratating.. I want my 3d.

If you're getting an 'access denied' error then probably either 1) you don't have sufficient priveleges (administrative) on your account or 2) your anti-virus (or other similar program such as a firewall/defense combo, etc) could be blocking it as well. For #1, you can try right-clicking the installation executable and selecting 'run as administrator'. For #2, obviously disable/turn off the virus scanner for when you're trying to do the install.

Custom 5 ' VESA stereo to 2.5 mm stereo audio plug cable, is the only one that fits in "3d in" (The small circle input on the emitter). Is that something I need? Does anything go in the input if I don't intend to use it?.

This is the monitor I have

Emitter to notebook via usb, glasses to notebook via usb get the green light on emitter, turn glasses on. Seems to me I'm missing something. Is something suppose to be connected to the monitor itself? If so does anyone have the benq monitor and knows where it goes?
