Could some one explain to me these crosstalk tests, what is their purpose ? You really can't reduce crosstalk with Any other that getting better components or different hardware. Specially with games. If you have crosstalk thats Bad enough to cause disscomfort and annoyance switch components!

Most important purpose is to be able to identify faulty hardware, so you can diagnose and replace it quickly. Or to adjust crosstalk more easily. You can reduce crosstalk depending on the hardware. On some TVs and monitors by changing settings crosstalk can decrease or increase significantly (experienced it with my previous TV). Also with some monitors and TV's crosstalk can be reduced via service menu adjusting (dangerous but sometimes very useful).

I have been using PotPlayer, but somehow it has SOMETIMES problems with switching on 3D Vision view (I guess its kind of beta feature, not working 100% good). So I have tried Stereoscopic Player based on your recommendation. I was able to make subtitle ffdshow run, but where I am struggeling is layout of videos. Somehow Stereoscopic Player do really bad job with detecting proper Layout (side by side, etc.) so the result is that I have to spend time with trying, changing for certain movies. Some of the videos cannot setup at all.... In this matter PotPlayer works much better because detection is automatic and it works. I would expect from Stereoscopic Player to do the same - automatically detect and set layout - maybe I have missed something somewhere in settings?!

Does anyone know how to get SVP (Smooth Video Player) to work with Stereoscopic Player? I've followed the instructions here but have had zero luck with this: https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/SVP:Stereoscopic_Player The file type in question is .ssif (ripped blu-ray). Any help greatly appreciated.

I used to be able to use Stereoscopic Player with the Nvidia .cst file for years without an issue, but recently I've been having nothing but issues with it (and yes, I am keeping it up-to-date using the official version and swapping the .cst file). The main problem recently has been HSBS videos that aren't encoded with the black bars in the frame, are refusing to stretch properly and sort of locking to a 4:3 ratio. This was driving me nuts for weeks and I eventually gave up fighting it. I forget where I heard of it, but I've been pretty impressed with the newest version of sView: http://www.sview.ru/en/download/ it doesn't look like much at first glance, but it performs perfectly! Tons of options and 3D Vision support in fullscreen. Even in fullscreen mode, in 3D, it has a nice OSD that fades out and has easy access to subtitle controls and such without having to worry about too many headaches like codecs and subtitle renderer overlay orders. Even x265 HEVC files play fine, and I remember that being a tad tricky when first trying to get Stereoscopic Player to play them properly. BTW, I should mention that you should have the newest version of K-lite codec pack or similar installed already but I think that it is a given these days...

You don't need any special software to playback any anaglyphs movies. You might need a blu-ray software player unless you use a hardware player. I tried piranha 3D anaglyph and if you ignore the quality of the glasses and the substandard 3D experience it works even on my oldest blu-ray player with no 3D Blu-ray support. A software blu-ray player obviously requires a hardware blu-ray reader installed in the computer. You can even use a USB external blu-ray reader.

Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.

What more can you ask for?

Which version did you try (number and edition)? Only Ultra (and new: Live) are able. Also in case you tried to find old cds with PowerDVD included - I think it was introduced with PowerDVD 10 Ultra. Other requirements: Besides 3D Vision Hardware, also the display to make use of 3D Vision the first/main monitor being set, I think you also need to set 3D Vision in some of it's output format. Input should be detected right way. Btw. no one yet did name Kodi, according to https://kodi.wiki/view/3D#NVidia_3D_Vision it should be possible tough I have not tried yet, using libreelec. EDIT: And another "new" (8 year still updated) one: http://bino3d.org/. Not the friendliest GUI, but nice options.

I use both PowerDVD and Stereoscopic Player. I have paid license for both, so I support the programmer of stereoscopic player and the support of 3d on powerdvd.

Full frame 1080p on both eyes? I'll try another Iso and see. Thanks,

You have to choose according your needs (I'm a power user so I use both): PowerDVD ---> 3d blu-rays, 3d photos, 3d videos, and 3D YOUTUBE - all codecs are included). - Only supports nvidia 3D vision or 3DTV Stereoscopic Player ---> 3d dvds, 3d videos, strange encoded 3d videos (i.e. interlaced or squared). You can play only the movie of 3d blu-rays seeking for the file (no menus). - codecs for video files are not included - rare 3d visualization systems are supported (like projectors, specialized equipment or even custom made systems), added to 3DTV and nvidia 3d vision.
