Homeworld 2, Cannot Enable 3d
For some reason, I'm unable to get 3d Vision working with Homeworld 2 (which, even if the interface is 2d, would probably look amazing for no-interface screenshots and such). I've tried renaming Homeworld2.exe, but that had no effect. I'm fairly certain the game uses DX9.0b, so that shouldn't be causing a problem.

I'm running a GTX460 with the Viewsonic PJD6211, and 3d Vision seems to be working fine with everywhere else. Can I get any advice?

Thanks

I would guess it's either OpenGL or not DX9.

HW2 barely works. It doesn't even support widescreen resolutions. There is no way it will run in 3D.

Here's how to get widescreen support-

but in the games readme, it says it's OpenGL, so it won't work with 3D Vision.

This makes me sad. *single manly tear*

Oh well, there is always (hopefully) Homeworld 3!

I wish.

Company of Heroes works though, so that's a type of comfort :)

too bad too, would be a perfect type of game for 3D. Maybe Homeworld 3, but with the current trend of new games coming out STILL unsupported I wouldnt get my hopes up on any new game working right out of the box anymore.

**offtopic**

Judging from Relic's releases in these years, I believe we will see Homeworld 3 just a few months after Star Wars Battlefront 3.
