Nvidia 3D Vision Video Player - not working anymore after windows update - refresh rate is resetted ...

Following situation:
1. if I fresh start my computer, enter the Nvidia control panel and start a 3D test then it works correctly.
2. If I start Nvidid 3d Vision Player and open a 3D Video, then it is not played in 3D, nothing works as expected anymore as it used to back then when I bought it a few years ago.
3. If I go back to nvidia control panel and start the 3D test again, then the 3D effect does not work anymore, no 3D at all. Sometimes step 3 works though.
I already uninstalled my graphics drivers in secure mode by using the tool DDU. I also installed the K-Lite Codec Pack.
I also tried it with Nvidia Drivers V 385.28 from 14.8.2017, but there nothing works at all and even the setup fails.
I am using Windows 10 64bit and a GTX 970. Tested on Nvidia 3D Vision Video Player Version 2.4.3, Nvidia 398.82.
Maybe it is related to the problem I have with shadow play (GeForce Experience - game overlay), I cannot activate it anymore even after reinstalling drivers with DDU.
What is going on?
I noticed that there is a new version of the Nvidia 3D Vision Player (2.5) here: https://www.nvidia.com/drivers/results/135655
After reinstalling the latest driver and then installing this new software, it worked again, but it stopped working after a windows update.
Hint: I noticed horizontal black lines moving slowly from bottom to top If I look at my smartphone display through the 3D Glass, during the 3D Test from step 1 and 3.
However, If I look at a 3D video opened with Nvidia 3d Vision Player, then these horizontal lines are also appearing but with a much higher frequency, they are very fast!

It stopped working again and GeForce Experience uninstalled randomly for unknown reasons?

I would try reinstalling Nvidia's drivers using DDU.
There are known problems with initializing Nvidia's setup wizard on Windows 10, the workaround is to use the bat file available here on the forums.

@D-Man11, I just reinstalled it right now, it made absolutely no difference. I used DDU.
After starting the 3D setup assistant a black screen appeared and stayed there until I pressed CTRL+Alt+DEL.
The 3D Test works fine with Anti-Aliasing turned of, but fails with Anti-Aliasing. Playing 3D Videos still fails.
I was able to solve it by reinstalling my windows 10. It seems like one of Windows updates destroyed the 3D functionality. The 3D test still fails with anti aliasing turned on, but I can play games and 3D Videos again!

Just did the 3D test over here and it only works with AA off.
This is not a solution to the problem but I find it interesting that I have the same problem.
The anti-aliasing option has been bugged like that for as long as I can remember. I'm not sure what's causing the issue but it looks like it's related to some unsupported refresh rate.

Why is there still no response from the Nvidia staff? Are they aware of the bug and will there be a solution, or do they just give zero f* about us customers?!

How about you mentioning stupid stuff, like the driver version you are using and display type?

I finally figured it out!! I noticed that the refresh rate was also resetted to 60 Hz if I played a 3D Video and tried to switch it from 144 Hz to 120 Hz or vice versa from the NVidia Settings.
Then I tried it again via the windows settings (right click on desktop -> display settings). First I tried to set it to 120 Hz, then it also reseted to 60 Hz, [s]but 144 Hz worked![/s].

Edit: It showed 144 Hz, but after closing and opening the menu it showed 60 Hz again...
So I set it to "1920 x 1080 - 3D" and then 3D finally worked, there was an effect even though the refresh rate changed back to 60 Hz again.
