Just a reminder to all, remember not to exceed your 2-hour, 2-week refund time limits. I've managed to do my testing in about 25 minutes so far and I'll keep it for 10 days (so I can test if there are any updates).

Be careful with Steam Refunds I had 5 games less then 3 days old with playtime totaling 11 minutes for all five. I was sent a e-mail stating I would be refunded this time and the e-mail also stated this is not a option to try out games and next time my request for a refund I would be denied. Total Games in my steam account is 722

My game is crashing with a fatal error window if gameworks features are enabled from game menu(when 3d enabled, works in 2d). Heads up if any is having same problem. oh and that framerate joke. god that got to me good! :D
I'm now seeing reports that there have been significant visual downgrades from the console versions too.
Yes, I've seen the video comparison and it is an absolute joke. How on earth do they justify disabling effects on a "next-gen release" that have existed since 2009?!? I'm sure the development team consisting of 12 members were already frantically working on the build before the **** hit the fan, and I would expect them to sort out the performance issues, but I'm not holding my breath for all of these Gameworks features to actually present themselves. Question: How much of this game is borked due to the DRM? I'm asking because I recall that Arkham City ran poorly the whole time it was a GFWL release. Once it transitioned to a Steam client, it magically became smooth as silk!

If it's using DX9 then this is totally ridiculous and unacceptable. I'm really glad there are so many returns, I hope it teaches them a lesson and spurs them for a quick patch. It's probably also my last day 1 AAA title purchase, thanks to the nonsense that went on with MKX and now this. Origins got a lot of bashing (I liked it) but it came out almost flawless, with 3D working well and barely any issues (at least for me) and whatever bugs there were were fixed quickly IIRC. That AK was done by the praised and glorified home studio, and is released in this state, is shameful. Add to that the issues with limited editions...man, who would've thought the last game would debut so low.

Heck, it had the best writing of any of the games to date. But everyone was saying it was crap just because it wasn't developed by Rocksteady. Now this debacle. At the moment, I think I would feel more confident if WBGM was behind Arkham Knight.

Origins had a bunch of technical problems and game-breaking bugs at launch. Some were fixed, but many were put on hold, with the official response being "we're going to focus on DLC first, then come back to the main game". Seriously. Then they never fixed most of them. My experience with it was pretty good, but that certainly wasn't the case for everyone.

I literally can't think of anything they didn't fix, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. IIRC, it seemed that the PS3 release was buggiest.
