Sorry I wasn't complaining or looking for support or anything, I only brought them up to stress how excited I am about your project! :D ... and I have to stress that 'I've been able to try so far' ... been too busy at home to mess with much of anything lately(+2 minions :)), but they were Amnesia(very low FPS on a single 670) & Rage(black title screen, locks a few frames into the game without textures loaded in), both using the initial releases of their respective wrappers. So, no I haven't been able to try the latest version of their wrappers, sorry ... if I can find some time tonight after we tuck all the 'minions' in I'll give the latest versions a go and get back to you.

Well Rage wasn't as bad as I thought, it wasn't actually locking up it's just that I couldn't see the menu/popup that was waiting for me to hit A again after that I can walk around the town ... but there's still no textures loading in, like I said I don't have ShadowPlay(GeForce Experience) installed. I'm not sure how reliant the fixes are on it, if they even are anymore. So with Rage, I'm still getting a black screen at the title screen, no textures or menus in-game and it looks completely broken. It's being rendered in stereo, to me it looks like the shader fixes aren't being applied for whatever reason ... here's some screenshots of what it looks like. Amnesia: The Dark Descent doesn't run for me now, before the framerate was fine when moving(WASD) but looking around was erratic/chuggy. Now it does nothing if I try to run it from Steam and when I double-click the either the Amnesia/Launcher.exe I get the "MSVCR120.dll is missing..." error message even though I installed 'Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013' from link on the first page. Downloading Riddick now ... ugh GameFly ... 'ALL OF THE FLAVOR. NONE OF THE FAT.' Lol. edit: I can't even run Riddick ... so much for 'the flavor', keep getting a 'Tages' error so I can't try that wrapper out, sorry.

I looked at RAGE and apparently the engine loads a very low version of the textures or something... The textures are being loaded as you can see on the grass and the sky for example... Do you have by any chance GPU transcode disabled/enabled with weird settings?... Also, are you starting the game with the NO INTRO shortcut? If you do that the shaders will not be generated properly for some reason.... Regarding Amnesia, the installer comes with the redistributable packages so you can install it when you install the wrapper. Have you tried with those? If that still doesn't work I think it suggests your Windows installation is not working properly... It's very weird since you are the only one reporting these issues, which points that is something specific to your system.... I also tested the wrapper on Win7 x64(Home) with a GT 550M (which is LOWER in performance terms than a GTX670) so I don't believe is the GPU. As regards to shadowPlay, it isn't required to play any of the games. Having it enabled I noticed sometimes I was getting better FPS...but with the latest performance increases that I applied to the wrapper I don't believe this is needed:)

My setup is a bit different than most, as it's a 3D Vision(Not 3DTV Play) supported TV(Mitsubishi DLP) ... I can get 1080p60(CB) ... not sure how differently 3D Vision treats it. The Amnesia wrapper installs the 'packages' twice(?), well it only has the repair option as it's already installed ... so it repairs it twice and still gives the error message, I even tried installing the ones from the link on the first page. No clue what's going on there as the old wrapper I had still works(minus the mouselook issue) Rage looks incredible in broken 3D with textures!!! :D ... so I was messing around with it a bit and I found that by disabling the 'Shadows_53' fix it allowed the textures to load in, unfortunately that's all it did as all the other fixes are still broken, mostly stuff renders in one eye/the opposite eye(right side of the menu in the left eye and left in right) ... more screenshots ... hopefully some of this helps. Is there a simple way to disable a shader like with HelixMod? Even if I could just disable a few of them, like the shadows Rage would look fantastic. :D

Also, are you using any "depth" hacks ? That would definitely make Rage render like that... I have no clue why the wrapper is not picking up the dll file. Are you sure is "MSVCR120.dll and not "MSVCR120D.dll (the extra D at the end is the debug version which is only found in Visual Studio and not part of the redist). If that is the case it means I built the wrapper wrong:)) I don't know how HelixMod disables shaders as there is no actual way of disabling a shader. All you can do is load a dummy one in it's place. Yes, like I said in a couple of post before, you will have access to all the shaders' source code (not the COMPILED version that you get in DirectX). What you do with the shaders afterwards is up to you really;)) You can either fix them or put a dummy one in their place. I haven't re-released the wrappers with the latest version... which I will do presently as the last step of testing before the release;)) Also started making the Documentation videos;))

Sorry, yeah it was calling for 'MSVCR120D.dll' ... it was late, I was tired and lazy and copied and pasted the name from the first page. :) I wasn't using any of my DepthHacks and I have no 'Discover' option, I have no options(DropDownMenu) whatsoever unless I pass through something ... so I did and it's still giving me the same issues but I did notice that just disabling 'Shadows_53' was no longer working to fix the textures not loading in, then it was the same when I switched back to real 3D. At first I thought it was me, at one point I renamed the Shaders directory but then I 'isolated' it to 'UI_77' and then when trying to find which one was the menu disabling 'UI_77' stopped fixing the texture load in ... I'm at a loss, it's seeming to be completely random ...

Heh. :) It happens. Just curious, in the upcoming debug version of your wrapper is there going to be an in-game refresh key ... so we can edit/refresh the shaders without having to restart the game? If so, what key is it by default?

People! Why 3D VISION and TriDef does not support Open GL? Coming game The Evil Within! It uses hateful ID TECH 5 ... This means that the game will run on OpenGL? Am I right?

Am I right?
If you want the answer to that question.. you need to go back to 2002-2003 when Microsoft announced Windows XP (and in the same time XBOX). They said XBOX will run only on DirectX and that Windows XP WILL DROP SUPPORT FOR OPENGL. Which was true. However, all the driver manufactures added OpenGL back with their drivers on release, so OpenGL wasn't actually stripped... just not fully supported by MS. What MS wanted to say is that they will stop adding the FULL OpenGL with Windows and instead the hardware manufacturer must do this. You can still see this today. Windows 7-8 comes PACKED with OpenGL 1.3 (the basics). Everything else is found in the DRIVER (AMD and Nvidia drivers). This was a nice PR stunt for their XBOX launch ;)) Putting DirectX in front. Today, DirectX is only used in Windows and Xbox Consoles. All the other platforms + consoles out there are using OpenGL (or a variant). Why people use OpenGL rather than DirectX? Because the hardware manufacturer can IMMEDIATELY add a new feature with a driver update (via extensions). For example in DirectX 11 we get Tessellation YUPPY!!! Well guess what... OpenGL had Tessellation WORKING 4 years before DirectX 11 was released. Basically all the new stuff that you see today in DirectX was first present in OpenGL. So back to the question... why is not 3D Vision AUTOMATIC supported on OpenGL? Because most computer developers (or the BIG ONES) use DirectX thanks to the PR stunt MS put a while ago. 3D Vision IS Supported under Windows and Linux (Quadro cards) but no 3D Vision Automatic. Id Tech 5 is not a HATEFUL but rather an awesome engine. Even if it using the equivalent of DX9 (as instruction sets) is an awesome engine. (except for the damn FPS lock). You will be able to fix the game using my wrapper...which I will release very soon (still working on the videos). I probably also make a fix for the game as well:) If anyone wants to contest what I said please feel free to do it. If you want references about what I said I can give it:)
