How long should the charge on the battery in the glasses last when the glasses are NOT in use?
I just got this new setup about 2 weeks ago. I've never used them any more than about half an hour in any one day so far so I don't know about how long it lasts while IN USE, but...
I'll charge them overnight via USB cable hooked to my computer (at least 18 hours, like 10 PM one night until 4:00 PM the next day after I get home from work). I turn them on and get the green light indicating good charge. I use them for 15 minutes to half an hour. I set the glasses down (NOT plugged in to the charger) so they should auto-shutoff, the PC is definitely not in 3D mode anymore (I'm just back at my Windows desktop). I come back the next day and turn on the glasses to use them and get a red light already. So I stick them on to charge the 18 hours again, and I keep repeating this cycle.
So when the glasses are NOT in use, they're keeping their charge for less than a day. I don't know if maybe they're not shutting off automatically or just what.
Or do I possibly just have a bad battery in this set and need to get a warranty exchange?

One thing you can try is activating the glasses by using 3d mode. Then turn off 3d mode (green light on IR transmitter goes dim).
Keep wearing the glasses and after a few minutes you should see one eye (left i think) blink about 4 times to indicate they are shutting off.
If they are shutting down then it could be a dodgy battery in the glasses.
If they don't shut down, could it be possible you have some other infra-red source in your room that could be keeping the glasses "awake"?
