With ffdshow rips works fine at 1.6.9, and with MS decoder they don`t. Codec is usual x264, nothing specific.

It's a MS decoder issue - assuming you have Win7. MS x264 decoder has problems decoding large frames, like 3840x1080. Try playing the video in WMP and you get the same result.
Cheers

Thanks, elxarro! So, with ffdshow - no DXVA, as i assume (because ffdshow has separate "ffdshow DXVA" decoder for hardware aceleration, and it`s also has limitation for maximum frame size due to DXVA v.1 specs and doesn`t work with rips).
