Arma 3 getting closer to working in DX11

I am still having some technical issues. there are 2 shaders not completely eradicated. but I tied to go through the shader and followed the sonofbob shaderguide but when I press F10 to load the fix the shaders are still there?? I am unsure what I am doing wrong then from earlier today.. I will keep toying with it but why is the shaderfix not working??

here are the 2 files I found for the shade hack: 1.6d7b8ab96af28ce2-ps_replace 2. e9e658489e9d1baf-ps_replace here is the 2 lines I hadded under ShaderOverride: [ShaderOverride2] Hash=6d7b8ab96af28ce2-ps_replace Handling=skip Hash=e9e658489e9d1baf-ps_replace Handling=skip why is the fix not beiong applied. is there another setting in the ini file I need to changer. according to the guide I have it right but it is not working as it should.. I had it earlier but do not know what I did to get it working.. this is very frustrating..

OK I just applied the fix to a permanent state and it seemed to have worked.. I will upload the files needed to get the shaders fixed..

Awesome, you got it working. Glad I could help. These 2 shaders, are they popping? or what? I think that skip only works sometimes, but I could easily be mistaken, There are two other ways of doing it. Like in bo3b's school, where you change the color output to nothing so that it's invisible or the guide by eqzitara that can be foung on the helixblog where you comment it out.

no they are like a shadow on the stereoimage.. I removed them and uploaded them to put here . Well after some of my initial Multiplayer testing it seems the 3D effect goes out when I get shot and there is like a blurring image I guess to make you noticed your wounded.. I am unsure but I had the 3D effect got out on several occasions sometimes it seems randonm.. I have no idea what to do about that and once you loose the 3D effect you will need to restart the game and go throught the alt + Tab process to get it back.. This game is proving to be a real problem child..

I do believe the issue of the 3D turning off was the Post Process effects.. I turned them all off and the 3D seemed to stay on longer. I have not had it turn off yet.. altho the light in the emitter was lit I did not get a split image.. so the 3D basically turns off to as degree.. But with PP Off I do believe it will stay on indefinitely while playing.. I do hope that was all it was.. I will do som e more testing but it seems ok after I did that.. ;)

Well I finally after a few attempts to get 3D in a Multip[layer game tonight I succeded and 3D worked all night even after respawning and all.. I did have to shut 3D off a few times for better accurassy on the scope.. but even the IR scope worked flawlessly and I did not see a ghost image in the one eye.. I need to look into how to set a Gunsight to infinity for better aiming or som,ething.. I would appreciate any imnput on wehat to do about the scopes and aiming that is off.. I read some older threads about it and was wondering with 3D Migoto would it even be possible?? Any news from other users here??

Sounds really promising! Thanks for taking a look at this one, it's always been high on the 'most wanted' list.

To do the sniper aiming, you'll want to use the aiming override functions in 3Dmigoto. It's well supported, and you can temporarily change the depth and/or convergence to anything you like while you hold down a specific key, including xbox controller. The idea is to make the screen 2D during aiming like this.

Look at the Custom settings override section of the d3dx.ini for some examples and documentation, and any game fix that does this like Far Cry 4.

Yes I had a look at Far Cry 4, and seen the lines that where added to shut off 3d with a key press thank you for pointing me to that.. So should I post what I fixed so far and update as I add other fixes in the Future.. I will look at other fixes and take a look how the wrote them out to try and stay similar to those.. But for know as far as I can see besides maybe a shader here or there that may be broke the Looking down the scope is the only other Major Flaw I see in Arma3.. I just checked, and we have a bug in 3Dmigoto where if it can't find that 'calls' reference it will default to '1', which is on. For shipping fixes, it's better to be off, because the logging slows things down. Not a rush, but if you update the fix at some point it's worth changing.

Your Welcome hope it gets used by a few people seeming this release for a fix was so late ;).. I will make that change next fix update thnx for the hint.. I do have 1 weird problem it seems I am unable to access my PM's here at the site?? I press messages but nothing happens and I don't see how else to access the PM from others..
