Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams

I changed it to "I think", but I wasn't fast enough. It took me a minute to find the post that I thought stated that it was screenshots that were not saving, it turns out he was talking about convergence. So I added the quote in case it still might help you. My memory failed me :(

That's cool - I tried it and it didn't work. When I have the registry unlocked and run a game in 3d vision, the NVidia driver always seems to override the eye swapper. With some games I can alt tab out and toggle the eye swapper then go back in game and it's the right way around - Gianna Sisters crashes for me when I alt tab though, gives me some DX9 error. Meh, look, you guys/gals do a fantastic job of getting games working properly and I'm happy to be able to be able to play so many games with 3d depth and passive glasses - so I don't mind little hiccups with overriding drivers and stuff.

I just try to help, I've personally have not yet fixed a game. I installed the current fix from HelixmodBlogspot and was able to take a screenshot and alt tab without crashing. W7 64bit 368.39 using 3D Vision Are you using Eincou's app? If so, check to see that the capture keys are still set for alt+F1 https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/827162/

Wow - that app looks really useful. I just downloaded it and will start mucking around with it. Thanks for letting me know about it.

What the hell? I have received a DMCA notification for the Giana Sisters blog post. 8 days ago (I rarely check my emails). It's here too: https://www.lumendatabase.org/notices/12852801# They have sent the helixmod blog post to the drafts section. I can make a counternotification. Did any of you have to deal with this?

And what exactly does that say? Excuse my Spanish;) Are they complaining about copyright or something? on that game? ROFL. And what copyright did we infringe by the way ? I also noticed my Website is on the list for the Surround fix. What are they going to do about it?:)) I don't modify or copy any of their assets or whatever:) It's memory manipulation in real-time so:)) I find it funny... You can try to counter-notify, but I wonder if is not best just to remove the damn fixes. The game is fun I can't say that but is not worth it in my opinion...

We've gotten three or so of these DMCA requests. Generally speaking this is just random companies hiring trolls to harass people. The way I prefer to handle these is to file a counter notification, demonstrating that nothing we do affects their copyright. We don't ship any assets or code from their games. Our use of snapshots to show before and after are unquestionably covered by fair-use. What has happened in the past is that Google will see the counter notification, and if they do not respond to the counter, then it's reposted without changes after two weeks in 'time-out'. This is what has happened before. They don't actually care, it's just trolling. If we happen to hit someone who does care, I'll want to talk to them directly to demonstrate how we are actually aiding them. If they still disagree, we can pull it down, but I'm not willing to accept random bullshit DCMA's to kill our stuff. This is weird that you got the notice, and not me as a site admin. I received one before for Dark Souls that I countered. This makes me worried that we are losing other fixes if I'm not seeing them. Edit: @4everawake: can you take a look at your email for DCMA notifications, I see something like 5 of your fixes that are in Draft state. Edit2: BTW, this is another reason I push everyone to use eqzitara's AWS/FTP for sharing files. Stuff linked to sketchy sharing sites tends to trigger these DMCA notifications. Amazon Web Services is unquestioned.
And what exactly does that say? Excuse my Spanish;) Are they complaining about copyright or something? on that game? ROFL.
Basically blogger received a notification telling them someone made a DMCA complaint about that blog post. Which is stupid, because our content isn't infringing anything. And so, they put the post in the drafts section, saying that they haven't modified the content. It doesn't say if the problem is any specific file. It says that I can counter the DMCA, and also that if I publish the post again and blogger notices it, they may delete it and think about doing something about my account (like deleting the blog or my account) if they think I've commited an infraction. Agree;) Counter is the best thing to do;) I am not entirely sure though how we can show them we aren't affecting their copyright and that we don't actually ship code from their App. For my Surround fix is easy, I can give them code of the plugin lol:)) and they can see it has nothing to do with their little app. Then again I didn't receive a notification like this ever, but I did notice some links to my website there soo.. But how about a 3D Fix? :)

But how about a 3D Fix? :)
Yeah, these are just companies hired to look for torrents and file DMCA requests. Unfortunately, the only ones I've seen are people that are so stupid that they can't tell, or more likely could care less, the difference between a torrent site and a modding site. If you look at the URL list in that takedown notice, it's full of torrent sites, but also includes wsgf, and 3Dsurroundgaming as sites that have the game name + 'download'. That's it. Retarded, just like the DMCA itself. Your posts are automatically set to draft and taken offline. If you don't file a counter-notice, your post is gone for no reason other than some idiot company is lazy. I get that the original company wants to bust torrents, but does that have to suck so hard that we get collateral damage too? BTW, in searching the lumendatabase, I see a bunch of your blog posts on 3Dsurroundgaming that were flagged and presumably taken offline. You might want to check for DCMA emails.
