I have had my optoma HD70 for quite a while now and have recently caught the 3D bug. I have a Zalman monitor connected to my pc for 3d but would love to move 3d onto the big screen.
I have used the anaglyph mode which looks good but I really want something better.
I have set my projector to 1280x768@85hz and it is disploaying fine and is a supported mode by the projector. I have read threads on here stating that 85hz is do-able on a dlp projector and the flciker is barely noticable but that of course depends on whether or not my projector is actually displaying 85hz or if it is just accepting the 85zh signal but skipping frames.
Has anyone tried the 3d vision kit on an optoma HD70 and confirmed whether or not this projector could be used until I decide to get a HD65 :P

Well I got my Optoma HD200 X or the HD20. Picture wise with the DVI -HDMI cable is as fantastic compared to the optoma EP739 its as good as the Samsung monitor just 6ft wide, Very bright I set it to low mode and its still bright, but it does not like 3d ,It has a VGA input but even at 1280 X 800 did not like 3d . But for $1170.00 cdn I am impressed!
I will try some more res later. i just want to watch Blue Ray.......
