Anyone already tested the new MotoGP 18 in 3D vision (perhaps with Universal Fix) as it is Unreal Engine?

Tried it and I've good and bad news: The good: after using the UE4-universal fix suddenly the 3D in the menus and sometimes in the game is PERFECT! The bad: most of the time in the game there is a kind of "white layer" over the whole screen. It's hard to describe. The screen is almost white (no colors) but I still can see the outlines of the bikes and some of the surroundings and I can see that the 3D-depth would be perfect (so NOT messed up 3D) but it's unplayable because I can't almost see anything (like driving during heavy foggy weather). But sometimes (like a kind of flickering) for a few seconds the screen is normal (colors are there again, details are there again, the white layer disappeared) and I can see that the game would look gorgeous in 3D vision. Same thing when I turn the camera with the thumbstick on the controller, so the camera rotates and I can see the bike from the side or from the front: in this case the white layer disappears, but when the camera returns to default view (behind the bike in 3rd person view or in helmet-view) the white fog is there again :-( Same thing with the game "Gravel" (arcade racer but with cars instead of bikes): perfect 3D in menus but only for a few seconds (in intervals) during the game. I think it's because this game uses the same UE4-engine as MotoGP18... Maybe I did something wrong (I just copied the files from the universal fix to the game directory) or there is only a little thing missing in the fix (because in the main menu and also sometimes in the game I can see that the fix would work perfectly). Any ideas?

You need to install in: \<Game Name>\<Name>\Binaries\Win64 NOT the root folder. That white issue is fixed with the profile override included in the fix, so probably you install in the wrong directory or something happens with your driver (in this case re-install drivers using DDU).

I reinstalled latest driver with DDU and I had the universal fix in the right folder (NOT root) but unfortunately same white/blueish problem as before (both in MotoGP18 and Gravel).... Could it be the skybox layer which seems to be at screendepth and flickering as a layer in front of the screen? Don’t know what you mean with "profile override" though. Do I have to do anything? I used universal fix from Helixmod.blog and just copied the files into the correct folders... Hmmm, even in "State of Decay 2" I get a white layer (but here only on the left eye) with the universal fix...

Those colors problem are normally because the bad profile....can you change some values using NVinspector Follow this instructions to add StereoDX10 = 0x00004000 to the game EXE https://s3.amazonaws.com/dhr/PDF/Add_StereoFlagsDX10_to_Profile.pdf can you upload a 3D screenshot with the issue. What OS are you using? perhaps the new win10 update are messing up with the profile override.

Hi DHR! I tried to add StereoDX10 to the game EXE with NVinspector (the orignal value was not 0x00000000 in my case but 0x00004008 though, but I still changed it to 0x00004000 like in your PDF) but unfortunately it had no effect. I have Windows 10 with the latest update, so I think this really messed up this "profile override thing" in all the new UE4-games I mentioned above. Would be interesting if someone else could confirm or deny this. Don't know how I can make 3D screenshots but I hope you know what I meant with the flickering color-problem...

You can take screenshots with ALT+F1 and they are stored in "C:\Users\<Username>\Documents\NVStereoscopic3D.IMG" I think there is something with profiles in general and the last update of win10...games that need changing profile (override or manual) are reporting issues that need those tweaks in profiles for fixing...To be more precise, need those tweaks in the profile to fix Compute Shaders (CS), like UE4 games and Frostbite3 (i have 2 reports in Battlefront II, but i test in my win7 rig and all is OK) Can you test the game using win7?

Thanks 3D_Mike for testing Battlefront II...this discard that profile issue i was assuming. If you can upload a screenshot of the issue will help to understand the problem. Also try to lowering some post processing and effects if fix something....also for testing try to disable AA, temporal AA in UE4 are very broken. Games that use it, looks very bad.

Problem exists even on lowest settings (no AA, no effects...)

You can press the "Clip" icon when you post....you need to pass the mouse over your post to see the Clip icon. wait until is uploaded. Do you use the Vorpx or VR stuff with this game...i see in another thread you use Vorpx with Battlefront II and break 3Dvision....maybe something similar happens here....i don't know what stuff change Vorpx in the system or particular games.

So it has absolutely nothing to do with Vorpx. I swear! :-) Okay, now I try the screenshot-upload... I think I have to "Add reply" first and after I have posted it I can upload the screenshots after that... Let's see..

Hmmm, it seemed to work with the screenshots, but maybe it takes some time because under the "Attechments" I can read: (Scanning....Please Wait) motogp18...jps

Yep..that's not a normal issue with UE4. Can you try to hunt a PS that remove the one eye issue....enable 3Dmigoto overlay with NUM0. NUM1 or NUM2 to cycle PS, NUM3 to mark PS. If you found a PS that remove that issue we can disable with an override in the d3dx.ini.

I will attach three screenshots: 1. you see a screen with the "white fog problem" (all 159 PS have this problem, but you can also see that there is a skybox with clouds) 2. In PS #53 the white fog is gone but the colors of the whole picture are strange (looks like a photographic negative) and Skybox is missing (no clouds). 3. In PS #148 the white fog is also gone but the colors look normal. So this would be the best picture, but the skybox is missing (black sky). I also captured those 3 PS by pressing 3 on Numpad but I don't know what I should do now... Don't know if this what I did could help somehow...
