A lot of time went into this update but I think it's worth it as the application tries to stay up to date automatically. This means fix profiles are updated automatically by synchronizing with helix blog.

Concerning Stereo images: does this work for everybody when clicking on the images in Installation tab?
3D Vision Photo Viewer should be opened and images loaded with it.

Change Notes 1.33:

 • New: Added support for showing stereoscopic images in Installation tab. Just click on the images to see them in stereo 3D.

 • New: Fix descriptions and download links are automatically synchronized with helix blog

 • New: All fix descriptions (645 so far) are shown in rich text format

 • Changed: Images shown in Installation tab aren't saved in RTF files any more - this keeps file size small and loading times short.

 • Changed: Updated 3dmigoto files to version 1.3.4

 • Bugfix: Numbers with more than 5 digit places where not shown correctly in Hotkeys tab

 • Bugfix: Comparison of 3dmigoto version numbers did not work correctly

wow this fantastic.
Thank you for your effort.

Awesome work, love this tool. One question, is there a setting to prevent the pop up message to install profile yes/no when launching a game in 3d? for example, everytime I launch Subnautica I get the window to add profile, or click No if already done. Would be nice if there was a "do not show this message again" option for a particular game once the profile is added first time, or maybe there is a setting somewhere else I missed that might suppress it. I want to keep 3D manager in control of profiles, but just a minor minor annoyance as I play from the couch and like to limit mouse clicks (been playing a lot of Subnautica [amazing in] 3D lately haha). regardless, great tool and love the frequent improvements. thanks!
Yes there is. Just double click on the game in the list and set "Nvidia Inspector Profile for 3D Mode" to "Silent Installation" and save changes. By default it's set to "Install with dialog". With this you can control it on a per game basis. If you want to control it globally go to "Settings" -> "General Settings" tab. There is a group "Nidia Profile Inspector" settings. You can set this to "Install driver profile silently without warning message". Then all dialog windows are suppressed. Unfortunately currently I cannot detect if a profile is already installed / swapped. I would have to use NVAPI but there is no C# Wrapper for this. So a little bit uncomfortable to use this. But maybe I'll revisit this.

it is truly incredible that this project comes to these levels. this is great. Hi Tim, Yes you're right concerning the game exe. Some updates ago I set to overwrite game launcher exe because some profiles had a wrong exe assigned. Then I forgot to re-enable preserving this user setting. Sorry. I also had the feeling that something is wrong when desktop refresh rate is not set to 144hz when playing in Gsync mode so I also set this to 144 hz then. When clicking on "Play 2D" 144 hz should be already applied. Adding an option for setting to 60hz when closing the application is no problem as it's more or less a copy paste of existing features. Thx for you feedback. I really hope that more people get convinced to use this application as it can do much more than only one-time fix installations. Especially if you often switch between 2D and 3D gaming it's much more comfortable just pressing Play 2D / Play 3D button instead of enabling / disabling 3D in Nvidia Control Panel or executing a bat file, change refresh rate settings manually etc. I think here is the main advantage of using this tool. Fix installations are often one-time - you only benefit once but when switching between 2D / 3D you benefit all the time.

Hey Paul, There is a bug with some BenQ monitors and Display Port which wasn't present on DVI-D dual link. When 3D kick in it will randomly go in R/L or L/R. I have no idea if this can be solved by nvidia but I've submitted the problem. Meanwhile I was curious to know if it would be possible with a press of a key to swap eyes side? Yet the only solution is to either ALT-TAB or ALT-ENTER in and out until we have it right. CTRL-T also works but I have a game where it hangs so in the end I use ALT-ENTER. If it was possible to stay in 3D and swap eyes it would be quick and useful, but maybe for the sync to works it must always switch back to 2D first? I don't know...

For 3dmigoto fixed games you can set 3d mode to "Reversed 3D Vision". You find this option in "Hotkeys" tab -> "Enable alternative 3D mode". As your issue happens randomly you can then cycle between 3d mode "Regular 3D Vision" and "Reversed 3D Vision" (and some other) with F11. I would proabably go back to DVI port if possible (newer graphics cards do not have this port however). I would not rely on Nvidia fixing this problem as they don't care about 3D any more. And if you ask BenQ support they will probably tell you: "We don't know anything about this issue" ;)

Just want to announce that the support for 3D Fix Manager will be reduced. There are far too few users for justifying the insane amount of time I invested in this project. If you want it in numbers: there are only 70 users who use this application per day. When this project startet a year ago it had 45 users per day and I could only win 25 new users for frequently using this app within a year. Overall there are 400 users who use this app within a month but this is ridiculous as I expected that Nvidia sold a few thousands of 3D Vision Kits (shutter glasses + emitters). Considering all the features I added to the app it's frustrating and even most of the shader hackers aren't interested in using this tool as they have their own "approach for installing fixes".... as if this was the only feature included in 3D Fix Manager xD. Fine. I don't know their exact reasons for not using this application. This support will continue:
[.]Fix Updates[/.] [.]smaller feature requests[/.] [.]generally only those feature requests which are clear to solve (for example I've gotten an email where a person wanted to have a feature. Than I wrote back: ok and the details? And he never replied. (just wanted to say this)

To be more transparent I'll give a short information which features requested by users will be implemented:
[.]Request: Change desktop refresh rate when closing application: will be implemted in version 1.35[/.] [.]Request: Add toolbar for launching programs for individual games: canceled as this feature would take too much time to implement[/.] [.]Request: Swap interleave pattern for passive monitors / TVs: canceled because user did to reply to my e-mail for details when the issue appears (only when rebooting windows? only when launching games? no answer - canceled![/.] [.]Notes feature for individual games - canceled because this would take too much time[/.]
As stated in my post above I'll reduce support service for 3D Fix Manager because far too few users are interested in using this application. Many people just want to use 3D Vision the ugly way (especially the Shaderhackers) and also the majority of normal users. Although I implemented a lot of features (auto installation of 3D fixes, auto disable / enable 3D Vision when launching a game, auto setting of optimized graphics options, beautiful extremely userfriendly GUI, quick setup for 3D Vision, backup of stereo setting in Nvidia Control Panel, auto updates like Nvidia Geforce Experience and a lot more features... the list is just too long for listing it here (see post number 1...). So I'll give up and reduce the support to the minimum as nobody is interested in this project. I generally have the feeling that this project doesn't get the respect and attention that it deserves. This is clearly shown because nearly nobody does post a thing to this 3D Fix Manager forum topic. So maybe 3D Vision is doomed to fail and it's not only Nvidia's fault.

Ouch! Paul, I confess to using 3D Vision the ugly way, as I've simply gotten used to it in the absence of an alternative over the years. At present, all of my installed games are working great in 3D, and you as much as anybody here will appreciate just how difficult a task that can be to accomplish. My question here is, if I install your application, will it start acting like HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey in trying to alter any of my finely tuned settings without any specific input from me. If not, great, I'll definitely give it go. As an aside, I've instinctively avoided using Nvidia's Geforce "Experience" ever since it was introduced, and I've never once regretted it. I'm old school in trying to get things to work in my own way. As soon as I'm in position to make a donation, I'll be happy to download your app. If your 3D Fix Manager works as well as it evidently looks, then in the meantime I just need some added reassurance from yourself, so as to be sure.

3D Fix Manger asks in pretty all cases if you want to do something as I hate Microsoft for doing updates in the background without confirmation of the user. The only thing when 3D Fix Manager is not asking you is when a graphics setting has to be changed in order for the fix to work. For example "The Surge" will not work if motion blur is enabled. So 3D Fix Manager will change this to "off" when you click "Play 3D".
