Andrew I see you stopped lying but it is to late for me
  1 / 3
I see you have removed generic crt mode from your list of supported displays but that is what I paid for. So what are the chances that I can get a refund for the money you stole from me? I have removed all nvidia crap from 4 of 5 of my systems so far and bought ati stuff like 2x 5870 and Iz3d drivers. I will not support your lying stealing ways. Just so you know I am in peoples houses every day installing satellite on there new hd\3d TV's and telling them about your lies instead of your product. I also tell them about how Iz3d treat you like you matter and how there product although immature supports almost every display how there are no nvidia control on there driver adjustments and on and on and on. I don't know how you look at yourself in the mirror!

Seems really stupid to me! It's like your going out of your way to kill 3d entertainment. I gave the 3d vision to my 9 year old boy but even he thinks its crap after seeing my ati \iz3d set up..

I am using a crt, just got my glasses 3 days ago, hmmm not good, but from reading here crt wasnt much good anyway, thats why i ordered a Alienware, just waiting, but what i have noticed is System Requirement has GT240 on the list, but the Automatic Tool says GT240 (Pass) but recommends GTS250

Video Card
Minimum: GeForce 8800 GTX or above, GeForce 9800 GT or above, or GeForce GTS 250 or better.
You Have: GeForce GT 240 PASS (i pass though)

Upgrade Suggested: Unfortunately, your Video Card does not meet this requirements

Video Card
Recommended: GeForce GTS 250 or better.
You Have: GeForce GT 240

I am confused

I see on Nvidia site

100 Hz and higher analog CRTs

Maybe you do not longer handle job stress and you need some rest, vacation, spa or something like that.

100hz crts are working fine

Even 85hz is "playable" with a slight flicker.

The trick is actually getting win7 to run any crt monitor at 100hz....:P

Frustration is all it is.
At the end of the day we buy these sort of products to just turn on and enjoy, who wants to read forums everyday of the week for a work around or await a fix constantly. I don't know about you guys but I envy the day I just turn on my 3D setup and everything plays nicely.
We've shelled out for the Nvidia cards, we shelled out for the Nvidia glasses and it should stop there Nvidia!

Well, I honestly don’t think anyone, who educates themselves properly before purchase, should expect the product to be perfect. 3D Vision has its cons and well as iZ3D, and every other solution out there. If people took a second to read on the products just a little they would realize this. As it is I think you get so many angry customers because they purchase the product expecting the 3D to be as flawless as Cinema 3D, like Avatar.

If you want/expect things just to come together in a manner such as “buy it plug it play it” and have little to no problems, then you probably should stick to console gaming. This isn't meant to be a digg on anyone, but it is true. The lack of variation in consoles means making a product for them and ironing out all of the flaws is a much easier and cheaper task for companies. It has been long understood that PCs, because of the massive combinations of hardware and software, are much more variable and as such many more problems can arise.

Why the heck would you care if an ancient CRT monitor is supported. Do you really expect the latest 3d equipment to be perfectly compatible with old technology

People forget, the early adapters are always gambling on technology, whether it becomes a success or a flop.

Early adapters = Beta tester for the rest of the world.

For this reason, I have yet to invest anything in the whole "3D" craze because every company is fighting to become the industry standard and the others that didn't will fade away.

Reason 1 : High quality CRT monitors still provide excellent quality and can rival any LCD display, both in 2D and 3D if setup properly with working drivers.
Reason 2 : It's still on the supported display hardware, it must work.
Reason 3 : Some of nvidia clients still use them and do not want to pay extra $ to buy a new screen that does exactly the same thing as the screen they already have.

I cant get my Crt to run @ 100hz, tried RefreshLock, Reg hacks for Win7, adding custom rates, 1024x768 @85hz is the best i have,
Nvidia & 3D isnt new technology, its about 10 years old if not more, and it pretty muched stopped when LCD Monitors where everywhere, as only Crt's worked back then.

So i can understand that people expect it to work out of the box, like everything else you buy, ie you wouldnt want to fiddle with a tv everyweek to keep it running when a new show is on, same for a dvd, or modify a toaster to fit thicker toast loaf bread, image if you had to fiddle with everything on a daily or weekly basis to to get things to work, what a nightmare

Don't preach you're opinion to me, this is not a new product and it is definitely out of the "early adopter" stage that so many people on this forum like to quote. It is not not new technology!!!
If you can't see past the route Nvidia is heading with this product regarding getting money to make a display "3D vision ready compliant" than you're blind to the facts of this technology.
I purchased a Nvidia card, I purchased the Nvidia 3D vision glasses and the product stated it works with a display 100hz above so please tell me why it doesn't work with my Optoma projector which satisfies those requirements?
Yep just don't see any logic in what you said at all and again don't try and tell people what they should or shouldn't stick to, you have no idea of my knowledge so just worry about yourself.

Again this guy is frustrated, as are a lot of the active members on this forum are.
