RE5 Pop out is a FACT!
To all the whiners, it will have POP OUT EFFECTS as Capcom said!
Obviously you are to dumd to see that the benchmark is just a benchmark and not the final game.

With the 3D effects easily produced within the code, Nvidia and Capcom set out to further push the bounds of the technology. So this September, when the game is launched, the 3D mode will also produce effects that seem to leap out of the screen towards players. I had a chance to experience this at the end of Chapter 1-2, when Chris and Sheva had to face the first boss of the game, the one comprised of slimy worms. As the two BSAA agents brandished their guns and the camera swung around them, the barrels of their guns seemed to pop further out of the screen towards my face. What's more, as the creature slithered along the ceiling, the slime and worms that dropped from its body appeared to fall directly at my head thanks to the cutscene's camera angles and the animation of the beast being rendered in 3D. Considering that I was also able to see the scene without the effects, the sensation of these images breaking from the screen much more than any other 3D I'd ever seen before was jaw dropping!

We physically jumped out of the way of incoming axes and spiky tentacles during our play session. Even the start-screen and in-game item menus are in 3D. Viral molecules float in your face as you navigate the start menu and in-game item menus appear to lay on top of the action rather than a flat layer in non-3D.

Capcom tells us it's only going to get better, too, because the team is still improving and increasing the amount of out of field effects for when the game releases this September!

so, you have tried BOTH benchmark and the part from the game and the experience is difference?
I have a hard time believing it, since the whole purpose of the benchmark is to show 3D effects, so the people will by the game.

But, ok, whatever. I am gonna play the game anyway even if it will be regular 3D vision experience and will be perfectly happy about it. If there will be something more - good for me :)

So....does the benchmark show off this new "pop out" feature or not?
I'm asking because I have a slow connection and don't want to waste 8 hours downloading it if it doesn't do the job.

If not, is there another demo available for download which does show pop-out?
I'm dying to see it!

There is NO pop out on the benchmark. It's rather lame actually.

What the hell is going on ? Can we get pop out on the benchmark somehow ??

This is really ghey.
