270.61 Drivers Gimping Dual Link DVI 3D On Laptop
The 270.61 drivers are DISABLING Stereoscopic 3D on laptops using Display Port to Dual Link DVI.

AndrewF, any ideas why the dev team is doing this? They seem to be gimping every revision with 3D support =/

I can confirm this! the ONLY way I was able to use 3D with my external monitor whihc is slapped with a nive big label stating "Nvidia 3D Vision Ready" was to DOWNGRADE my drivers.....

Hi

I dont quite understand the problem. can you describe it in more details?

You are using a notebook with an external 3D Vision monitor. You have a DP to DL DVI adapter we have sold from our website and you cannot run 3D Vision on it?

No, I am using the Mac Mini-DP to Dual Link DVI adapter which worked fine up until the 270.61 drivers. Downgrade drivers and it works, upgrade drivers and it doesn't work.

The option is completely removed.

Hi

We have never qualified the mac DP to DL DVI cable with 3D Vision. The only one we have qualified is this one. http://store.nvidia.com/DRHM/store?Action=DisplayProductDetailsPage&SiteID=nvidia&Locale=en_US&Env=BASE&productID=227587600

I am not aware of us turning off this port.

Hi,

I do have the same problem with my BizLink Adapter (from the looks it's the same as in the Nvidia store.
Displayport to Dual Link DVI Adapter: BizLink BZL-KS10008(B), F/W 2.0

I don't live in the US, so I bought the adapter from another vendor.

Any idea why I can't use it?

andrewf, what does Nvidia suggest on Laptops that do not contain a full size DP, like my Alienware M17x R3 which has a Mini DP? I think this is what LVNeptune was referring to when he wrote in.

I just purchased this one based on this thread http://store.nvidia.com/DRHM/store?Action=DisplayProductDetailsPage&SiteID=nvidia&Locale=en_US&Env=BASE&productID=227587600 only to find out it wont work with my laptop???
