First - thank you for replying to this thread. As even the most cursory look at this forum will show, there can be a lot of fustrated users and annoyance expressed here, and it cannot be easy to have to deal with that on a daily basis. The temptation as a representative of nvidia to simply overlook some of these threads must be enormous, so thanks for sticking your neck out.
Second - I am sure you can appreciate how fustrating it is read that, after many months of waiting for checkerboard support, you will "hopefully" have a "schedule" in the "next few weeks". As I remember it, this issue was first raised and you stated that it would be addressed in the late part of last year. You note "yes its taking longer than we expected to release it". That is an understatement when we are beginning to mark time in such large multiples of months. I would rather expect a degree of contrition, an acknowledgement that this has taken too long to be delivered, and a statement that efforts to do so will be expedited. What matters much less than the tone of your response, however, is the simple fact that time continues to pass, our technology continues to depreciate, and in the meantime we do not have functionality which Nvidia (rather stupidly) opted to remove from its 3D product. Surely you guys can do better than this?

Would it have been better if I just ignored this thread and you guys get mad at me then?

I don't think anyone would be mad, I think everyone here is well past used to you and Nvidia ignoring them.
