1 / 82
Hi
As many of you know the Witcher 2 is launching next week and its going to be an amazing game. We have been working with the game developer to ensure the game looks great in 3D.
Please note we wil be releasing a new driver soon which contains the fixes for Witcher 2. Please do not use 270.61 with this game as it has problems that we know about.
I'll post again when the driver is available.
Thanks and happy gaming.
UPDATE 7/20/11: A workaround which will fix performance when 3D Vision is disabled has been be provided by NVIDIA through the v275.33 graphics. Please download the latest display driver from our Software Downloads page at:
The developer has now provided a patch 1.3 for the game which should fix performance problems with 3D Vision enabled. The patch is available from Steam by updating your game client or by downloading from:

Good news. For me the major reason to pre-order the game right now. Hope you have the driver ready by next week the 17th.

No plan survives contact with the enemy. Good luck. /wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
I wonder if the game will have a 3D pointer? The old Witcher required a lot of clicking on individual enemies and, when a crowd gathers around you, you needed pretty accurate clicking as well.

Small question. The problems that you speak of, are they related only to 3d? or the game in general?
And when you say "Please do not use 270.61 with this game as it has problems that we know about." are we talking graphic corruption? Or again only 3d issues? I am simply asking because i plan to play the game tonight and no driver is out yet so a little bit worried here.

hoping for 3d surround also. Just finished Assassins Creed Brotherhood in surround and it was next level awesome with 3 monitors.

I read that this game does not even support 16:10 correctly, but will be patched later, so don't expect surround to work...
