Final Fantasy XIII looks fantastic in 3D Vision - Screenshots
  1 / 3
This game 3D Vision looks fantastic right out of the box. I also used the GeDoSaTo resolution upscaling to 1080p. Amazing stuff. I am not sure what I have done, but I was able to saved only 1 picture on the photostream. lol https://www.flickr.com/photos/dat-13/

Wow, wouldn't have expected that. I figured this is another we'd have to prey for a fix for. Kind of pissed that I just played through this on PS3 though thinking it would never come to PC after 4 years. Hopefully the sequels will fare just as well.

[quote="Alo81"]Can anyone upload some screenshots to Sta.sh or Flickr and embed them here? [/quote]Folks, there's no need to host these files someplace else, and it just makes them harder to view. You can just add them directly to your posts here. Use the Paperclip icon in the top right of your post, AFTER you have made the post. (I know, after is weird.) If you want them to show in-line, you can then Edit your post, and copy/paste the link From your embedded images. It's kind of roundabout, but much easier and nicer to have them inline. No need to rename to jpg, the forum software shows jps as side-by-side.

I definitely don't find them harder to view, upload managers are way more convenient than this sites native one, and you get unlimited file sizes elsewhere. It's way more simple to just upload the image elsewhere and embed it here so you can simply cross your eyes and view it in 3D, or right click and open in a new tab to cross eyes and view it in 3D. Using 3D vision in browser will often times lock 3D vision on as long as the browsers open, which can lead to weird stuff with refresh rates and brightnesses. It's way easier to just embed it from a proper image hosting site.

Well, all I can tell you is that if I just see a link instead of an inline image, I'm personally unlikely to bother. It needs to be easier for the viewer, especially when people are asking for suggestions. I don't really disagree that inline embedded externals are fine. I use those all the time off my domain. But that's not what the OP is showing. Here's an example of inline embedding, using the tools already here- Img tags around the link to the file uploaded via paperclip icon: [img]https://forums.geforce.com/cmd/default/download-comment-attachment/61845/[/img]

@OP Woah, the 3D support for this does seem pretty great by default. Quality 3D, alongside GeDoSaTo support have turned my outlook on this from a pretty rotten port to overall pretty damn positive. Thanks for posting the pics. [quote="bo3b"]Well, all I can tell you is that if I just see a link instead of an inline image, I'm personally unlikely to bother. I have made a [b]helixmod fix [/b]for this game and will try to post it in the blog. Until then I will offer it here: Features: - Halos caused by some water surfaces and fog fixed - Depth and convergence presets per hotkey: 7 - exploration, 8 - fight/cut scenes, 9 - close ups in cut scenes. You can customize the settings by pressing the hotkey, adjust convergence/depth and save it with Ctrl+F7. - Toggle light shafts intensity with v (original/reduced/off) - Toggle HUD in fights with p (opaque/transparent/off) Installation: - Rename the attached "jpg" file to zip and extract the contents into directory that contains the game's EXE file ffxiiiimg.exe (...\FINAL FANTASY XIII\white_data\prog\win\bin\) - if Helixmod doesn't work when the game is started by steam or the launcher restart the game and try it again. If it still doesn't work: 1. make a shortcut of the exe file 2. right click on shortcut -> properties 3. in Target line : "~~~\win\bin\ffxiiiimg.exe" -fullscreenmode (-VoiceJPMode for Japan audio) Additional Notes: I often got "Appilcation load error ..." when I started the game. I had to exit steam completely (not only minimize to tray icon) and start FF XIII again. As Helixmod often didn't work after the first start I had to restart the game. Then everything was fine. The fix is compatible with GeDoSaTo. I have played through the complete story and hope that I could find most of the issues. There are still some distortion effects during fights that look strange (similar to motion blur, etc.). But they are only visible for a split second so it's almost impossible to catch them. On the other hand they are not very annoying as You hardly can see them. Here You can find my gallery with some [b]screenshots[/b]: http://photos.3dvisionlive.com/3d4dd/album/5455341fd475feaf21000084/ The screenshots of the fights I have made by using the option of my fix to turn off the HUD. The reason for this option was the fact that I had to use a god mode trainer to be able to rush through the game within only a few days. So in many fights I only had to press A, enjoy the spectacular graphics and turn off the HUD ;)

There was a previous Helixmod fix that was removed from the site after a few days (I don't know the reason). You had to press F3 to put every HUD element at the screen level (but it had to be done many times because it resetted itself after every battle or closing of the menu). Edit: as the post above, rename to zip. the files have to be extracted to "steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XIII" and "steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XIII\white_data\prog\win\bin".
