For me anyway......... i just loaded up a dragon age screenshot from here in the forums and noticed there is no cursor, then i moved the mouse around a little bit and the glasses started to flash, so i repeated the action with a res5 screenie and low and behold it started flashing and turned stereoscopic off completely!
Now it seems i can control when my glasses flicker with the mouse from within a screenshot which brings me to thinking the flickering is caused by issues perhaps on the desktop when in 3d mode????

I had flickering issue when i first bought 3d vision, then i upgraded my Power Supply unit to 1200W, earlier i was using 700W power supply, but i was using lots of usb hardware with my system. After upgrading my PSU no longer flickering issue for me. I was using 3d vision at 100Hz and lower resolutions like "1440x900" and "1280x800" when i had 700W power supply without any problems by the way.
