Just wanted to get some clarifications. Were using Planar 3d LCD 26" and workstations wiht nVidia Quadro FX4800. I just wanted to clarify whether the clone mode is always needed to set everytime we reboot coz thats whats happening now. Is this the normal behaviour?
Also some times during setting the clone mode in the nVidia settings dialog box, the clone mode option sometimes disappears and reappears w/c makes the whole settings very irritating. And when we leave the PCs idle for a couple of minutes or maybe less than an hour, it sometimes goes back to the single display and we then have to setup the clone mode again.
Were using WinXP Pro and a special application for Stereo viewing, ISSD (from Intergraph, its supported by the way with this graphic card). Anyway we can successfully setup and work with 3d but this whole setting up of the clone mode sometimes takes too much time.
Hope someone can shed light. Ive emailed also Planar but would also like to get comments from nVidia or its users.
