I recently have managed to get an SBS screen output with Reshade and SuperDepth3D. (which is probably a flat 3D anyhow, but at least i was able to output an SBS to screen) I beleive i am kind of on the wrong track with thinking vorpX would hook into whats displayed on the screen. The program hooks somewhere else, probably into the game itself. I am too new to this type of technique to understand the render patch of a game and when a software hooks into it. I think the only way to provide SBS to vorpX is through an application which loads a game, separates the 3D in 2 images, then renders the games output through the normal rendering path , not through a modified dll. (Avatar, the Game for example provides an SBS output through the "normal rendering path" and VorpX can hook into that providing G3D. VorpX can also hook into a vido player with SBS output). well i remember playing starfox 64 on project 64 in 3D with a nice pop out effect using iz3d, i think i also played crash bandicoot warped on epsxe in 3D (this i really don't remember if the 3D effect was good or not). None of these emulators works in 3D with any new 3D stereo solution (3D vision, Tridef, Reshade + SuperDepth3D) that i tried this days... I also tried to use IZ3D on my windows 10 PC and i did not work anymore anyways... It is sad that they have chosen to let their software die instead of making it open source... Their facebook page is still online: https://www.facebook.com/playiz3d/ Maybe someone could contact them and see what they say about it...

@D-Man11 - I beleive Tridef VR is crap who wants to play VR game on a huge monitor :-/ In theory tridef 3D with SBS output could be worth a try but i am strongly in doubt that vorpX will hook into Tridef ;-) This is all together not really a problem, i am very much satisfied with vorpX, created quite a few Geometry profiles for it already and the list of games that work in geometry 3D becomes larger each day ( the openGL gamelist alone counts close to 300 games that would work in G3D). The official list is around 280 games that work in G3D, but when using my engine checklist (below) you easily come to 600-800 G3D games. Since i am in older games mainly there is still a lack of support for certain game engines so this SBS thing was supposed to be something like a workaround for certain inhouse engine powered games until vorpX supports G3D in more of the older game engines. PS: for anyone who ownes vorpX it could be worth looking at my engine list (green link below), i am an intense user of vorpx and using this list makes it easy to create G3D profiles for a huge number of games. ...for a joke i will probably try if vorpX hooks into tridef ;-) @aluizioedypo thats a good idea !

Maybe you could simply figure out a workaround to allow SbS on Nvidia's consumer GPUs. Their Quadro GPUs offer the format.

I might be mistaken, but I was thinking of the Auto Stereo feature that they promised. Games that are supported by 3dmigoto can output SBS... The same person who made SuperDepth3D also made 3d Format converter (line interlaced to SBS for example), called 3dtoElse, problem is Reshade grabs the game before NVidia 3d vision does the processing, so It Will not work for this case.

@D-man11 as far i know the quadro cards support SBS but i think they are not sufficient for newer games where you need GTX970 or above. @aluizioedypo 3dmigoto does DX11 only. 3Dtoelse seems to provide just another z-buffer Fake 3D SBS.

My intent was a workaround to provide vorpX with a Geometry SBS image for those games which are not yet supported with Geometry Mode. I did this with Avatar for example where VorpX had no 3D profile, or the Unigine Screensavers, where the Geometry image is calculated before the SBS output.

Anyway i will cancel this because we might get a vorpX authoring tool one day. Ill keep those games for then.

iZ3D is still best for x86 project64 emulation (juts copy the .rdb into the main directory if you black screen). I use version iZ3DDriverSetup_1_13(5443) and 'registry trash keys finder' or trashreg64.exe to delete they keys to reset the 'trial.' ... I found it on the internet a while back I could maybe mail it if u PM me. we 3d folks need to stick together. especially now that NVidia is trashing 3d vision next month ; ;
