Is there a way to get it working in CM? I have no luck with real 3D, if I can run it in CM at least it's better than nothing.

The game actually runs fine up until it crashes. I don't understand what you mean by an extended amount of time? CPU power, or GPU power? CPU is running at 4.4GHz, i5, nearly as good as you can buy today. If I clock it normally at 3.8GHz, that is still a fine CPU that is dramatically higher than even your "recommended specs" for the game. [i]Darius D. June 27, 2015 15:44 Hello Howlingyetti, Thank you for sending us your DxDiag and MS Info. After reviewing your information, we noticed that the faulting module interfering with GTA V is from your NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 driver (nvwgf2umx.dll). If you have already installed the latest update to your driver and are still having issues, please do a clean installation of the driver. Hopefully, this should resolve your problem. If you are still having issues after that, please send us updated MSinfo and DxDiag so that we may continue troubleshooting. Best regards, Darius D. That driver was the latest when I filed the bug, NVidia 353.06. I've updated to the hotfix driver of 353.38, and naturally it still crashes there, in exactly the same way. I've added the files here, but are you guys actually interested in my bug report at all? This is either a bug in the game or a bug in the driver, and troubleshooting my computer isn't going to find anything. Here, let's start with the preamble from War and Peace, which has as much relevance to the problem as the stuff you guys are copy and pasting.

Well, good evening, good evening. sit down and tell me all about it. So spoke, in July 1805, the renowned Anna Pavlovna Sherer, maid of honor and intimate of the empress Maria Feodorovna, greeting the important and high-ranking Prince Vassily, the first to arrive at her soiree.

Are you even humans? These responses are so automated that I'm sure it must be some support software that just copies and pastes random things to try from a list.

Thanks,
bo3b

Anything? Can I be this rude without being banned?

Hello support-bot(Prisy),

Thank you for your reply. As an automated support-bot, I'm sure you won't mind if I repeat myself.

Hello support-bot(Prisy),

OK, good, now we can move on to actually solving the problem, instead of dinking around with tests on my machine.

Please note that EVERY person who plays your game in 3D will face this crash. They may not send in a support request, but every single person playing in stereoscopic 3D sees this crash. Please see the above linked forum for a list of other people who get this crash.

Your statements suggest you don't care about this because 'few customers' hit it. How do I get you to take this seriously? This is a game breaking bug that ruins the experience. It's a memory leak. It is EASY for you to fix.

Thanks,
bo3b

Bo3b you sure have a lot of patience or you`re really pissed off. Either way you`ve made me laugh big time. Thanks - did really need small portion of it. Just wondering how far you`ll keep that going. Seems to be hopeless.

I just submitted my ticket, losing patience with this. I referenced bo3b's tickets, saying he's right.

He submitted the preamble to War and Piece and they told him to kindly re-install their game.... lol I just wish I could get my game to run correctly in surround in 2d. Even if I turn all the graphics settings down, I still get weird flickering triangles around pedestrians and vehicles. Also, I get big black walls where there shouldn't bee any walls. I haven't tried to disconnect sli or surround for a test though.

Regardless the final result of all these about crashing (which I haven't faced playing "just" for few hours) my big "issue" that really ruins all the fun is the major crosstalk that I see with this game (comparing with other games on same 3D settings). Anything beyond 1% (meaning making it like 2D gaming) suffers with crosstalk in a very unpleasant status. Only minimum depth with plenty convergence make gameplay tolerable but not really good 3D ofc. I mean they have slider for convergence but not for depth..? Weird 3D apllied on this game (not on a pro level for sure, you want to support 3D in your game dear developer, then you apply all 3D settings ingame or you don't apply them at all and leave user to change from Nv shortcuts, usually from my experience "mixing" these two = not pleasant 3D)
I guarantee you Rockstar will never touch 3D Vision again in a title release.
Well, that's good, because I cam guarantee KockStar I WON'T EVER 'touch' another product of theirs as a direct result of the way they do business. Is the game amazing? Hell yeah it is, I hate to use the word 'epic' unless it comes reasonably close to actually meaning it, and this game is indeed 'epic.' That's why it hurts so much, some might say 'well, 3D Gaming is a 'niche' market and we got to understand that blah blah blah.. - I say, you came this far, those 'few' customers (us) are the ones that know what's what - they care about the immersion and a quality experience over cookie cutter rehashed half-baked releases,' And that's what I thought of Rockstar just prior to, and right after the launch of GTA V. It felt really good to 'have them in our 3D corner' as it were. Now their gonna flush away their perceived reputation as a 'Coded By Gamers, For Gamers' company to a 'Corporation of Greedy Pirate's' Conglomerate. An all too familiar theme in every other facet of our consumer-ised lives.. Such a Disappointment, Thank you for sharing though b03b, common sense isn't so common anymore is it? It's like this EVERYWHERE you turn, nobody has a clue how to do anything anymore, and the one's that do are laughing all the way to those offshore cartel banks. They got us just where they want us, distracted by all this STUFF! Think about it, automated systems are mostly reliable, more robots replacing us at work places, they get it set up, they make sure it's tuned to peoples idiocy (Bo3b - you broke the Idiocy/laziness barrier by being persistent & clever, both are traits found in very few of us these days) then they run off and we are left with a collapsed economy, social networking morons, and automated systems set to act concerned but really just intimidate and frustrate many of us. I'm sure that 'system' probably solves 5 out of 10 issues (that's prob. very generous) and 3 or 4 of the rest give up because they don't know any better and just accept the 'loss'. Then there is the matter of those last 1 or 2, those are the one's like bo3b that DON'T give up, they'll play the 'corporate game' and jump through the hoops like good little consumers, but then a line is crossed and they don't back down .. It really is the only way to change things.. for better or worse change only comes when those who want it bad enough decide to stop waiting for it to come to them and instead resolve to getting up and going to affect change by finding other like-minded people to then MAKE that change! But I digress, I am curious if in any of your upcominmg responses, you might ask THEM to repeat/state or summarize your/our specific problem in their return email to you. Posing a direct question might serve to confirm without doubt that which your chain of emails has already pinned to a 99% 'certainty,' that R*'s support tier's are comprised solely of random 'Ped's' with generic tech support 'AI.' Sort of like 'GTA: Sans-Support' (see what I did there?) Ugghh seriously, we were led to the slaughter again though huh? I mean, it was GUARENTEEED 3D Vision and we all (myself included) went on and on about how they were like us, true gamers at heart and more Dev's should be more like them etc and so on.. our hero's - Bah! ~Nutz
