Are you guys insane! God of War meets Zelda! PFfttt do I have to say more? I really don't understand why this game is so criminally underrated.
The graphics lean more towards a stylized effect, ala wow or wind waker, and the gameplay might seem simple at first, but that ends once you start unlocking new moves and gaining new weapons/abilities. Think Zelda like weapons given to you per dungeon to be used in puzzles/boss battles. It's a good, long game too, so worth your moneys.
I bought Bayonetta and Darksiders on the ps3 when they both came out on the same day earlier this year. After playing thru the Bayonetta demo like 10 times I was so sure I would be playing that one nonstop, and yet it was Darksiders that completely dominated my attention ... and I have yet to even finish Bayonetta.
Game looks great in 3d ... not perfect, but definitely still great.
This game deserves much more attention .... makes me sad.
Here's some more screenies hopefully makes some of you give it a go. -- Check out pic11 for the goryness :D

Darksiders = boring button mashing combat and sandboxish world to explore
Bayonetta = amazing twitch based combat system which is very rewarding the more you play, but a completely linear experience
It really depends what you like more. I couldn't get passed the combat which is tedious to me...
On another note- did anyone try this with 2D 3D surround? Does it work or is the field of vision locked?

You're right, different games for different tastes.
If you're looking for a twitchy fighter with deep, rewarding combat - Bayonetta/God of War/Ninja Gaiden
If you're looking for an epic world to explore with creative weapon/location/puzzle/boss battle designs - Darksiders/Zelda/Shadow of the Colosus

I am getting a fog issue with the puffs of smoke that puff out of the battle, for me this ruins it completely. Its the classic non-ready problem.....Is there some way to disable the fog?
Edit: Actually after a bit convergence adjustment i found it to be a good game

the game handles pretty good in stereo 3D mode with 3D Vision. There are some issues with the rendering of some of the atmospheric effects like fog, smoke some glowing lights or even some of the fires that may lead to some weird halos around different objects, but the issue is not that serious the game remains quite playable. With some custom convergence settings you can get pretty good results.
