Surprisingly yes. I'm not sure how they do it, but for turning and walking, they made the controls variable for ME2. You push the left joystick just a little bit and the character turns just a little bit. I love it.

Xpadder wasn't automated enough for what I wanted. I like the ability to simply add a profile and go without having to change anything else at all. Plus, pinnacle allows some neat analogue aproximations I never saw on xpadder (not that they don't exist, I simply haven't seen them). I've used xpadder for years to manually set gamepad controls, and I got nowhere near the positive experience I have with pinnacle.

I tried the pinnacle game controller program. And when it started up it had one windows profile and one for mass effect 2. I put on windows profile and it worked in Bioshock 2 but the sticks was not analog, even when i pushed a little bit on the controller the caracter still run. Is there possible to download a profile for bioshock 2?

I want to share my tips also. I have been playing through maybe 70% of the game now and have tried very different settings to get it to work the best.

First of all, the FOV is kind of messed up in this game, even after the first patch, and therefore you get very dizzy fast. To solve this a guy named HayDen have made super nice program that make you able to both adjust the FOV and the helmet. Just go to this forumpage and scroll down to his post, http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum...74&p=183993 The program is extremly easy to use and works perfect (at least for me)

I play with FOV value 87 and helmet around 65 i think.

There is one download for the original version and one if you have patched the game.

Also after have been playing with many setting and depth i actually find this game most enjoyable with the depth VERY low. I actually play with the lowest depth setting. Sure i would be happy if the game is supported in the future to be able to have highter depth without trouble but if you want to play the game right now and have 3d play with very low depth. If you do that the in game crosshair works perfectly well to and it looks very good. So my recommendation is to lower the depth so much that the ingame crosshair is perfect for you and dont gets a double.

Hope this helps-.

I was a little let down an waited to play hopeing for some fixes.
But I decieded to give it a shot last night, turned off reflections (which is a bummer as I was hopeing I would be able to play with all the bells and whistles ON)
not being able to trun off the 2d sight is a major bummer (Some of the parts of the game where it disapears on its own, like underwater are great when its not there)
Not being able to fully remap all my keys is what sems to upset me the most last night.
I find it playable for the most part (like in the begining i walked around underwater for like half n hour looking for sharks and just checking everything out, but all and all it is not the experiance i was hopeing for when i read that it would launch 3d ready)
I am playing on a DLP so I may be getting better results than some.
What Hurts the most is, i had been a lurker for about a year here, and when i read about nvidia working with the dev on the game I made the descision to build a new pc that could handle 3d vision and to buy a 3d tv to play on.
But $700 to nvidia (for video card and vision kit) and over a grand on a tv later I feel little sad over the launch 3d fiasco.
The worst part is after playing batman aa and avitar, like some others here I see how awesome 3d gameing can be and I don't want to go back to 2d gaming.
These games make it impossible for me to regret getting on board 3d vision.
Like others I just wanted to get this off my chest and will hold off on playing anymore in the hopes of a better experiance later.
The only damage this has done for me in terms of 3d is I will have a hard time ever believing when someone says "we are working with the developer, and It will be nvision 3d ready at launch"
The only damage this has done for 3d for those around me is the couple of people who were interested purchasing nvision3d now are using Bioshock 2 and my situation as a reason to say, no thanks.

Thats my only big concern with this game in the gameplay, its waaaay to easy, i played it through on hard the first time and it was never challenging.

Hi All

I read this whole thread today and I want to be really clear about BioShock 2 3D status.

The developer did post a link on their website that had a picture of the 3D Option. We were working with them up to the RTM date of the game to get fixes in and we did identify the need for a patch.

Since then we have been waiting for the patch to be released to have our fixes available to the users. I apologize this is taking longer than it should, but its not in our control.

Trust me, I forward all of these forum threads to the developer relations team.

So it's been a couple of days, I'm just wondering when the new driver and patch is coming out. Seeing that the 3D vision option is there, it is the obligation for both parties to get it fixed.

It seems 2K is having all kinds of problems, seeing as I haven't even been able to play the game in 3D yet without all kinds of issues.
