Looks like you got a bad pair. How recently did you buy it ?
Did you charge the glasses for 6-8 hours before using for the first time ?
If you did, I'd suggest returning the glasses and getting a new pair.
The manual says 3 hours for the initial charge. I'm not arguing at all and in fact you may have a valid point. I just bought a brand new NVidia 3D kit (emitter and glasses) on Monday from Amazon. I now have them and have been charging the glasses for about 5 hours now and still the stead orange light shows. I have yet to see a green light indicating a full charge on the glasses. When I go to unplug them or turn them on to conduct a 3D Vision setup while in Windows the glasses stop showing a stead orange light and it goes back to a blinking orange light. Once I plug them back in via the USB cable, it takes about an hour for the light to go back to steady orange color. I guess my question is do you think I have a bad set of glasses (or bad battery) or do I really need to just let them charge for a long time (6-8 hours straight). Worst case I have to send them back for an exchange.

Let me know your thoughts...

Thanks for the reply spaceducky (great name by the way). So, maybe the green light just doesn't work? These things cost me $170 only to have the green LED light not work - that's just pathetic. Maybe NVidia is aware of the fact that there may be a bad lot of glasses that were produced having the same flaw. We definitely need to bring this to the attention of the NVidia forum admins to pass along to the right folks within the NVidia corporation?

Errr there is no green LED in the glasses, or at least I've never seen one.
The Orange LED turns off when they are plugged in and fully charged.
I charge mine every 2 or 3 weeks.

Edit
Actually there is a green LED that comes on when you activate the glasses, but I've never seen it illuminated during charging.

Unless mine stop holding charge/working i'm not going to worry about it.
Not going to wait weeks for it to be sent away then come back just to
have a green led turn on.

I can see where you are going with that though. But unless it dies
i'm not going to worry about it. Is always in the back of my mind

or if it just lost sight of the IR thing.

I guess my question is do you think I have a bad set of glasses (or bad battery) or do I really need to just let them charge for a long time (6-8 hours straight). Worst case I have to send them back for an exchange.
6-8 hours of recharging is not a long time for such a high capacity battery through a usb cable (which was not designed or intended for battery charging). If you're too impatient to let the battery charge all day or overnight, then just play while the usb cable is connected. That's what I did on the first day.

Do not drain the battery until it's dead. Recharge as often as possible. There is a thread on this forum about how to maximize battery life.
