Yeah. I could never celebrate going back to the early GPU days when everyone had their own graphics API. It's best for all that these elements were just incorporated into DX12 and the new OpenGL. It's a win for everyone.

I know Oculus employees had been hinting at big things coming from AMD. Those sound like awesome VR features (especially if you have a DK2 and understand it's addressing some serious issues plaguing VR at the moment).
