With the latest drivers I am getting an out of memory warning at start up (Titan-X lol) and the trees/shrubs around the city are rendering weirdly, like they are off the plane of alignment.

My game is almost black and white with 3D Vision Discover glasses(red/cyan). How I can get better colors? Other games have much better colors and with GTA5 it's almost like black and white. I use helix 3D fix.

Does GTA5 works S3D? I get in 2D GPU usage 70-80% and 60FPS but if I activate 3D then I get only 15-25fps and GPU usage is only 30-40%. I use 3D Vision Discover(cyan/red glasses) so that can't be 1080p/24hz limitation

It works, and its weird. If there's going to be a problem with a game I usually experience it with my rig. I havent had any of the recent problems people are reporting here with the driver in my sig and the latest update. The only problem is I think performance is not really what it should be and I think thats due to the 3 core problem in 3d vision.

Thanks, So there is this problem with the framerate pegged at 30 most of the time and I was wondering how do you deal with the tearing? I'm using a Asus VG248QE 3D Vision 2 monitor and the tearing is making it hard to read words while panning the screen fast. I can see the frames dropped everytime I move the mouse fast which means those text are blurry most of the time. When I am standing still, everything looks perfect but this lowers my target aquisition time to shoot at targets when everything blurs so much. Is there a fix for this v-sync problem? i7 5820k 4.6 GHz Gigabyte X99 SLi EVGA 980Ti 6GB 16 GB RAM Windows 10 3d Vision 2 Frame-sequential mode
Thanks,

I've been playing with SLI 680, 2G of VRAM and it's running extremely well, getting some 50 fps on 720p in 3D. More importantly, it's smooth, there are no dips below 30 fps, no matter how fast I drive. Did run into one glitch after the latest update, where shadows or occulusion or something was a screen depth. Resetting the settings to Default fixed that, so I'm not sure which is was. You might try doing that- reset all settings to default. If motion blur is on, disable it, could easily be the problem. I'd also kill post-process effects as they are subtle and unworthy of the frame hit.

I don't know I get this awful screen tearing as well and I'm using the same monitor. The only fix for me was to set the in game refresh rate to 50hz but that's capping my performance. If I wack it up any higher the problem comes back. Its like Vsync doesn't work at all in this game.

Righto, well I finally got a chance to have a play at this just now, just to refresh people I asked about 30 posts ago about the target reticule not being at the right depth. No matter what I do with depth and convergence settings I cannot get the location of the reticule to be where I'm looking at. So for example, If I am on a building and targeting a pedestrian in 3d, my eyes naturally focus on the ped and I see two targets because they are at screen depth. I look at the target and I see two people. So yeah, it seems like just because of this I can't play the game meaningfully in 3D. In 2D, sure no problem, but essentially, if I put 3D on, it's only good for making the game a driving/flying/boating simulator. There is no way to fix this is there? It is part of the game and they won't be changing it

So for the Vsync issue I have, these control panel settings were the ones that helped fixed the stutter when panning in 3D for me. Maximum Pre-rendered frames 1 Vertical Sync On Also I added these in the control panel too for performance boost and compatibility Power Management mode Prefer maximum performance Threaded optimization On Triple Buffering Off When in-game, I turn v-sync on and then off. This fixes it for me. Now I can start the game with no more tearing problems after these steps.

Yes absolutely, it's the first thing I have to do every time I start the game. I think this is hard coded in to the game. If you stand on a hill and have lovely depth and say your character or gun is at screen depth or converged so it slightly pops out if you look at a building like Maze bank you see two targets right? Do you then shift your focus to the targets and see two maze banks behind it? I figure that if I were writing the game, since the target is always in the middle of the screen, the reticule needs to be overlayed and change to the depth of whatever it is that are you looking at, otherwise what is the point of using 3D at all?
