I have an acer GN246HL monitor, 3D vision glasses, and a GTX 960 with the updated steretropic 3D drivers. The display connection between monitor and computer is DVI dual link. I installed a driver for the monitor.
I have been trying to set up the 3D with the monitor and glasses, however in the "Set up stereoscopic 3D" menu in the control panel there is no 3D vision ready icon. Also, if I run the setup wizard, there is no option to set up the monitor.
The manual for the monitor says that an optional 3D glasses (and no emitter) is part of the equipment to set up. I also checked many forums for similar problems (like some with a different monitor) but nothing worked. Any help????

The driver I got for the monitor specifically was third party and I found no other drivers...
The manual for the monitor says that an optional 3D glasses (and no emitter) is part of the equipment to set up.
The emitter is required for that monitor as there is not one built in-to the unit.
