3D Vision is not in the NVIDIA Control Panel
  2 / 2
As far as I know, the laptop can be used for 3d output are only:
Sony E
Toshiba 750
because it is Nvidia GRaphic, and most important, Intel Graphic is disabled.

The 660M does support 3D Vision http://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-gtx-660m The thing is, I think it only supports it if you buy the 17.3-inch WideFHD 1920 x 1080 120Hz NVIDIA 3D Vision Bundle http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?oc=dkdwgy4&model_id=alienware-m17x-r4&c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19 You should check with Dell and Nvidia support http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19?c=us&l=en&s=dhs http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/utils/login_form/redirect/ask Nvidia Support number: 1-800-797-6530

Some things to try maybe. There is a setting in the global options to turn off Optimus and make the 660M the default GPU. I think you need to go into power management and set it to performance or whatever is not the power saver setting. Also are you connecting to the Nvidia GPU output or the Intel output? If 3D vision is not supported with your configuration of hardware in the laptop you purchased, there's always 3DTV Play. Although 3DTV Play will not work with the HD66, since it's HDMI 1.3 and only supports a frame-sequential format. PS: please let us know what you find out.
