3dtv play help!
Wow, this is some frustrating stuff. I wish NVIDIA would get this software working before selling it to us. I have been battleing 3dtv play for about 6 weeks, of which I have only used it to play a game once. The rest of the time has been spent either doing nothing because I am frustrated with it or uninstalling and reinstalling drivers.

The core issue is that most of the time when I run through the 3d setup in the nvidia control panel, one side (left) of my dlp link glasses goes dark and the other stays light and I can not view the pictures properly. If I try to skip the setup by answering the questions correctly, I can not view the game stills at the end properly nor does the test image work.

My setup is as follows:

EVGA 460gtx
270.51 drivers for both video and 3dvision
Mitsubishi 65738 dlp tv
xpand x102 dlp link glasses
Mitsu set to Automatic 3d detection, dlp link and standard eye viewing.

I can watch 3d content from within cyberlink media player which I can set to output in checkerboard.

The only reason I am even bothering at this point is that I would LOVE to watch the Masters in 3d! But alas, I can not.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Hi

You said you have been battling it for 6 weeks - what drivers previously to 270.51 were you using? We have an issue with 3D TV detection in 270.51 that may be preventing your TV from working.

What does the NVIDIA Control Panel > Stereoscopic 3D > Set up stereoscopic 3D say as the display type?
