Darksiders II Deathfinitive Edition - helixmod?

Here are a bunch of places to buy the original for a pretty cheap price. I've used several of these in the past and they've worked just fine. http://www.allkeyshop.com/blog/compare-and-buy-cd-key-for-digital-download-darksiders-2/

Anyone have any luck with the new helixmod patch for the DE version? Mine has an Application crash on launch if I have the mod installed. Runs fine without the patch. This happens to the regular DE and the beta patched versions.

If I replace the d3d9.dll that comes with the DE fix with the one that is for the older Darksiders 2 the game will launch fine, but the 3d fixes are not active. Just tried Win 8 comp mode and still crashes on launch with fix installed.

Hi terintamel. Try deleting "GameOverlayRenderer64.dll" in the Steam folder and let me know if that works or not. Usually that file causes issues with HelixMod DLLs.

Cool thanks for the update. I'm currently in the process of updating the fix. The crosshair & map fix isn't working as I'm running into the same issues that DHR & HeliX encountered-- some HUD shaders are unique to each computer.

Ok, the good news is that the shader CRCs aren't unique to each computer. But the CRCs are different depending on the installation directory. So I added compatibility for 3 locations: [.]C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition\[/.] [.]C:\Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition\[/.] [.]D:\Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition\[/.] The game must be installed in one of those three directories for the fix to work. Please re-download the fix & let me know if the crosshair now has depth.

[/quote] I don't mean to pester either, but all my Steam games are installed on my S:\ drive under S:\Steam\steamapps\... Is there a way to allow modification of the locations via an .ini file or something? If this is too much trouble I am happy to just play without the crosshair/map fix. I am just glad you took the time to fix everything else.
