Will this game be fixable? Or would you suggest playing it with Cm-mode?
Will this game be fixable? Or would you suggest playing it with Cm-mode?
It is one of those games which will get a lot of updates during this year so everybody is very sceptical about creating steady fix - look what happened to Tomb Raider fix. Although it is exactly the same as it was during beta - the shader I found is still the same and didn`t change a bit (the one with all effects and shadows). Even that doesn't promise that sooner or later all this will get messed up. CM looks really good especially with that presented above profile.

I actually doubt that this game will change dramatically that a fix of the current version would need to be changed a lot. Just look at all the other Uplay games, when it comes to the graphics nothing has changed.

Hopefully They will just invest time in creating extra content instead of improving environment or visuals. They`ve made statement that game won`t look any better and it works pretty well now so it might stay like that.

Yeah and it actually looks good. Ubisoft now tries to get the most of it by selling DLCs and Costumes. Graphic patches would be too expensive. What would be possible of course is a DX12 version of the game.

On a different note: Do you guys encounter A LOT of crashing in the game? I am currently in one of the first missions in the Police Department and I can't finish the damn mission cause the game crashes before I reach the end. (I think this is the first co-op mission to be honest).... If you encounter the same...what "magic" did you do to prevent it?:)

Yupp;) The previous one (as is the current one) fixes the switch from 3D to complete 2D;) The previous one: - The UI/HUD is in 2D so...GL targeting ^_^ - Fixes the 2D/3D switching The current one: - Fixes the 2D/3D switching - Makes the UI in 3D (with all the CM artefacts, but they are less visible here than in other games). Both fixes: - If you increase your convergence so your character is at screen depth (for that pop-out) there are zones where the Convergence switches from your "pop-out" one to the "infinity" (1.0) one, but everything is STILL in 3D;) Hope this gives a bit more info into the "problem". I am using 3D Surround so MAYBE the problem is MORE evident on my setup than on one screen ?!?!

BTW How those two 980Ti manage in 3D Surround ? I mean this game and others you play.
BTW How those two 980Ti manage in 3D Surround ? I mean this game and others you play.
Helifax beat me to the punch with a decently working CM mode profile. I made one that is quite similar, with a bit more depth/convergence, but also more of a haloing effect (pretty sure haloing and depth are directly proportional). Mine, however, also implements an unofficial SLI fix. I still get better performance from one card, but other people have reported it works for them, so I'll post mine up for those that want to try it (for the record, I've switched to using Helifax's profile for the slightly less intrusive haloing, so thanks Helifax!). The just kinda look flat and out of place, and I think mess with the z-buffer in the scene, or something, so it's pretty weird whenever they are in view. I've implemented a small tweak using 3DMigoto that resolves both of those issues, so regardless of which profile you use, this will fix those issues.

@DJ-RK: Awesome stuff there!!! Really awesome!!! I got the game with my cards and I decided yesterday to give it a try and a look and after 5 minutes of 2D UI I tried to make the UI render in depth with the whole thing:)) Sorry, if I posted it first;)) Yeah I tried the ROTTR SLI fix for this game as well;)) and for me both the official and this flag seem to work the same;)) Out of curiosity, can you please tell me, what is the tweak that you made to the z-buffer to make the nasty convergence/depth change when looking at boxex/ladders (interactive objects) better? @SKAUT: Well I have tested my GPUS in previously played games: Witcher3, ROTTR and the peformance ix 2x from 2x780Tis. Which is exactly what I expected. Since 2x780Ti = 980Ti. So 2x980Ti twice that;) I can't max the 60FPS in every location. But the FPS never dips below 40FPS (40 being the minimum). In "The Division" I get 45FPS in "busy" street areas up the way to 60FPS in "less busy". This is with CM mode. In 3D VIsion mode same locations I get 38FPS (for the location where I get 45FPS) up to 60FPS in interior areas and so on;) So, totally worth it for me;) As this is exactly what I wanted. Also one thing to note: This is on MAX settings in all games, including "The Division". Only think lowered is the Shadows Technology. Is not the absolute MAX, but higher than "High" (I think Nvidia PCSS). The next step is a big hit on my performance (NVIDIA HFTS).

In case someone is playing this game in Windows 10 + SLI + 3D Vision + Surround, the SLI BUG is still there. I have reported it again here: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/921332/geforce-drivers/official-364-51-game-ready-whql-display-driver-feedback-thread-released-3-10-16-updated/post/4838503/#4838503 Please add your voice to this;) This bug has been present since RELEASE day in the Windows 10 drivers. QA reproduced it yet they think is "low" priority! If we add more voices to the cause we will get it fixed;) Cheers!
