Tridef and 3d vision are different. What's your display?

I see that it uses openGL. I seem to recall that Doom 3 BFG Edition (an OpenGl game)only worked at fullscreen on 120Hz monitors Perhaps you can get it to work by using the dll from Helifax instead of the one from tridef? Of course, having things render correctly for both eyes may be a problem since it hooks into Nvidias 3D implementation. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/682130/3d-vision/-opengl-3d-vision-wrapper-enabling-3d-vision-in-opengl-apps/

Hmm, I wonder if you could use the iz3D hack, like for System Shock 2? I think iz3D is not SLI compatible, but neither is TriDef. If it matters.

If it's going to work, it'll probably be in tridef side by side mode, with 3d vision turned off.

Have you tried different graphic plugins for the emulator? Preferable one that outputs to directx9. Edit: Nevermind. There doesn't seem to be any dx compatible plugins. He is using an opengl graphich plugin together with gldirect.

Here's the link you asked me for in that PM. But I'm afraid I was mistaken in thinking that System Shock was OpenGl, the problem initially was that it was Dx6, not Dx9 https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/523535/?comment=3881337 http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138821 But I'm pretty sure iz3d had an OpenGl driver that could be used as a workaround. I seem to recall a poster named Dalek using it with Second Life.

Oh man,now I see that if I disable 3d vision on control panel I get this message: "3D isn't actually activated. The stereo display driver cannot be initialized (00300122)"

Something very important I forgot to mention is that a message appears when I dissable 3d vision on CP: The stereo driver could not be initialized (00300122) I started a game with 3d vision on and then switched to off when the game was running and the result was a side by side image.I selected this mode on my tv and stereo kicked in,but to my sadness I could onnly get depth.Tried changing options in the OSD but got no results. If this is the final result I must say that is not worth at all.Of course someone else can get best results.
