Read that.
Its just a helixmod release file. Same thing in any of our patches.
Arghh. :( It has been the Uplay-Overlay. FarCry3 worked fine and this demo now has been my second app with Uplay, sorry.
The retail-version of R_Origins came without Uplay, I hope R_Legends will be available the same way.
Uplay is just another steel-bowl chained to the legs.

I was hoping the same thing, but I overlooked the leaderboard and daily/weekly contests this game is going to have. Since it's clearly not being advertised as Steamworks, it's going to be using uPlay. Best case scenario is what they did with Trials (can help link your Steam friends to your uPlay friends list for easy uplay invites).
Really disappointing. Not just because I'm not the biggest fan of uplay, but because my friends list is all about Steam. So those leaderboards are going to be pretty worthless.

I always wonder why these games play in 3D, I don't think it was intentional. I've never found anything saying that they were working on 3D ... but there it is ... in 3D and looking fantastic, I might add, for a 2D game.

Yeah there's the logical part of me that know's the 'how' why they work ... but there's the other part of me that always wonders the 'why' why they work. :) There's so many 2D games that either don't trigger 3D at all or don't have any usable depth whatsoever, like Hell Yeah! and Mark of the Ninja, not that I'd even expect it from a 2D game that wasn't intentionally designed with it in mind but it is really nice to see.

I can't speak for Hell Yeah, but from the look of Ninja it's not so much layers at depth, so much as it is planes on top of each other. As in there's no real distance between them (and there's only 2-3 for foreground+background, with another 1-2 for rain/effects.

It fixes:
- Correct "FOV"
- Menus are UI is scaled and centered
- Some elements will still not appear on the center monitor (like the counter for electoons) but are correctly scaled
I tested it with 3D Vision Surround and I can't see any problems introduced by this fix;))
The latest version of the plugin can be downloaded from my website: 3D Surround Gallery => My WindeScreen Fixer Mods
