I tested the free trial over a month ago and got all excited into the 3D bandwagon, so after the trial I bought the product, expensive by the way (any reason this hasn't the physx treatment, anything special?), and absurd (limit of 5 activations, or in other words with expire date), then this... this is demand worthy, selling gaily things that don't work is called "SCAM". Anyways, I'm going to wait a month before I ask for a refund.

So I tried restoring my PC with a date prior to the 3DTVplay activation, and after reinstalling 3DTV play, I do not get 14 more days.......
So basically I paid for a software I cannot use, I am stuck with waiting. I am afraid of fully reinstall windows as I am not sure it will change anything except losing all my stuff

Never ever (except viruses) try to "fix" an issue by reinstalling windows, if that's the case then I would consider it the same as a virus, software not worth to bother about and try to look for an alternative. Let's just wait what they come up with this situation while their sale page is still up.

if you do it right, you wont loose anything.
There´s no way to "re-Trial" , nvidia spent a lot of time and manpower in this. But installing Win10 insider and restoting my home dir just takes about 30 minutes.

A lot of people have tried everything... do not bother: the server is not working.
It needs nvidia 3 weeks to get a server working where other companies have a 48 hours compliance policy. I do not really understand how this is even remotely possible. With that much time you basically have the time to buy a server and reinstall everything from scratch.
This is ridiculous, no-one must be actively working on this issue.
They might just be buying time for a decision like "do we really want 3DTVplay in our products list or do we stop this product forever". If this is not the case, then they really need to reconsider they customer-care policy

Asked for refund and got email back saying processing...
This is a shambolic service, any body started any processes into media coverage?
There should be some sort of compensation to those effected.
They have known about this for quite some time and still offer the product for sale...

Still been 3 weeks here with no resolution from Nvidia. I was promised by a level 2 last week he would find out what the situation was and get back to me. It's been a week since that day, and i emailed him 2 days ago and still no response. Thats just ignoring me at that point. Someone definitely should let others know not to buy this.

Tomorrow i'll ask a refund. Tomorrow i am waiting three full weeks. done is..done. i might purchase when the problems are fixed. Time for level three and take the software off the internet.

I Asked for a refund too, I am getting my money back in like 3 days. This is very irresponsible from a company worth billions of dollars, somebody should contact Tech Youtubers or Tom Hardware to write an article around this mess, I am feeling nothing but hate for Nvidia right now.

I just checked the Nvidia website and they have looped the purchase 3dTV Play link back to the info page on the product. They have also added a GIF where the purchase button was that says "3DTV PLAY WILL RETURN TO THE STORE SOON. WE ARE WORKING ON FIXING A PROBLEM WITH PRODUCT ACTIVATIONS".
So at least now we know they actually are aware enough of the problem to stop selling it. At this point it every day they don't fix it costs them revenue (not to mention making existing customers mad enough to jump brands).
Surely that will motivate them to quickly fix this. At my work we couldn't get away with leaving a server offline beyond a weekend. Maybe I need to work for Nvidia.
