I loved those games on Xbox 360 but they are being ridiculous with that price. Should be more like $20 a game or both for $30. I'll stick with Marvel Heroes 2016 until they are $5 a piece. Thanks for the heads up though D-Man.

Hopefully, they'll get a good discount in the Fall sale.

I didn't look into it, I just mentioned the missing DLC because I saw some Steam posters complaining about it. It seems that there's a petition now. https://www.change.org/p/marvel-give-us-the-gold-edition-characters-in-the-marvel-ultimate-alliance-remaster

Reports are that it's an awful port anyway. http://kotaku.com/the-marvel-ultimate-alliance-pc-ports-are-a-disaster-1784380526 Steam reviews of the first one are "mostly negative", and "negative" for the second.

All I can say is IMHO the first game was very entertaining and playable. The graphics is very decent with lots of toyification, and the characters that can fly/ jump high is right under your nose :) I haven't got any pics from it, so I reinstalled it, but it appears that my old disc version won't run under Win10, but anyway if you're a Marvel fan buy them at least on a sale !!

Most of the negative reviews is because people were expecting all of the characters to be included. Plus people were expecting a remastered version, which it isn't. I haven't looked into it very much but in 2006 IGN gave it a 8.5 rating http://www.ign.com/games/marvel-ultimate-alliance/pc-762708 Here's an article from Giant Bomb being critical of the game, but he still says it's a good game. http://www.giantbomb.com/marvel-ultimate-alliance/3030-7527/user-reviews/2200-9449/ Every game that I've played from Raven Software has been good. I'll pick it up, but not until I can get a good price.

Nope, most of the negative reviews are because the sound is crackly and bad in the second game, and many people have messed up controls when using a controller.

I read somewhere that all of the platform specific characters are attainable in MUA1 through modding. That was second hand information so I don't know if its accurate but it seems worth looking into if missing characters was anyones main gripe for not purchasing.

Worse than Batman Arkham Knight, which is quite the low bar. http://www.pcworld.com/article/3100969/software/warning-the-new-marvel-ultimate-alliance-pc-ports-are-complete-garbage.html "Don’t even touch this one with a ten-foot pole, lest the pole burst into flames too."

What makes it worse is that this game had a working PC version that could have been offered, instead of this butchered version. Yah, reading the reviews after release and watching gameplay videos, it's a bit of a mess. Pre-release the forums were filled will people complaing about DLC. Like Pirateguybrush pointed out, it has now changed to bad controls.
What makes it worse is that this game had a working PC version that could have been offered, instead of this butchered version.
Yeah.. that doesn't make any sence !! UA1 was technical wise rather perfect, with working controls, and many PC specific graphical settings, and it did run 1080P. So why replace that with a bad port ??? UA1 Disc version is unfortunatelly reported unplayable on Win10, so it's not just here it doesn't work :/ Soo.. we will have to see if the lazy guys at Activision, get's it fixed at some point...

Well these games are now 50% off of $39.99, so $19.99 on the sale. Or, you can get bot for $30.00 as a bundle. The game received a patch.... Improved controller mapping for multiple controllers to address the Xbox One® controller and Xbox 360® controller support issues including the button assignments for the triggers and A button on Windows 10 Support for up to four controllers Updates to audio support that should improve the audio and minimize crackling and other issues that some users may have experienced Improved online player invites Additional fixes including addressing some issues that could cause players to be desynched or disconnected during online games and UI updates

I can clearly recommend buying both games for 30 buck, thats more than a fair price !! Both games works flawless after being patched, gameplay is very fluid and fun, XBO controller is allmost mandatory. I've been fidling with different things in order to get 3D perfect.. Use the Prototype profile and simply dumb 3Dmigoto in exe dir. and both games gets 3D Ready, for extra crispness I recommend DSR 3840x2160 !!
