3d tv play help (sony bravia 3d tv)
I been useing 3d tv play and the tech demo included in the 3d vision works perfectly it comes right out at me. Then when I go to play games I can barely see the difference. It will not let me change the depth in nvidia control panel.

First of all, its not your TV's problem (I'm using HX900).

There are three ways to enable 3D stereoscopic for games. See this:
http://nvidia.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/nvidia.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2576&p_created=1269030339&p_sid=GQseCygk&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_srch=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPSZwX3NvcnRfYnk9JnBfZ3JpZHNvcnQ9JnBfcm93X2NudD03NCw3NCZwX3Byb2RzPTE1NSZwX2NhdHM9MCZwX3B2PTEuMTU1JnBfY3Y9JnBfc2VhcmNoX3R5cGU9YW5zd2Vycy5zZWFyY2hfbmwmcF9wYWdlPTE!&p_li=&p_topview=1

That is, if you do not have the 3D vision emitter, not using the computer model in the list, you have to buy the standalone version of 3DTV Play, which is "Coming in mid-late November 2010". Otherwise you can only use the "locked" 3DTV Play to play 3D blu-ray and run the tech demo only (For games, the TV indeed receives 3D signal, but with 0 in depth).

Unfortunately, its now December but the standalone software is not yet released. Nvidia didn't say anything about the delay, even the Nvidia "representative" in this forum is vaporized. Don't you see that there are angry Nvidia users (including me) complaining in this forum?

I actually own 3d vision but the setting in steroscopic 3d signal is locked in at default depth and won't let me increase it. In the "set up steroscopic 3d settings"

Hi mate, I have a HX800 40 inch in australia

I have been in contact with andrew from here and cyberlink for there power dvd. They are saying that our TV's are not supported as 3d monitors. They will do nothing else to help:

"Dear James,

Thank you for writing back.

I understand that you are unable to play 3D Blu-ray disc with your TV.

Please note we have some tested TV's in the market and you must use those. Currently, R&D team is not adding any other display for it. Please get any one display from that list and then try to play.

Your issue will be resolved. With this display, I regret to inform you that you can not play it.

I regret for the inconvenience.

Please feel free to contact us back for any further clarification or for any assistance related to CyberLink Products. Use the below mentioned link to get back to us for your further queries:

Interesting.

Andrew said HX800 is not supported as a 3D display. Then why HX800 is listed here?

I've just purchased a 55' Sony 3D TV and have encountered the same issue as you had in the past. Please let me know how you properly installed the drivers or if there was some extra step that you took.
I've been really frustrated with the lack of 3D content, please help me out!
