Looks like the first DLC "burial at sea" is just around the corner. Any further news on SLI fixes for the dx11 patch?

As far as i know there was only one problem with water at the beginning and nothing after (SLI). Am i missing something ?! Also waiting for this DLC - sounds like my type of Rapture ! Latest Preview with new gameplay (spiolers). http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/z04h4j/bioshock-infinite--burial-at-sea-dlc-preview

I finished the game last week and the only issue was the water at the very beginning that was already mentioned. There really is no need to wait for anything else at this point.
.....If 99% is good enough for you, just download the patch on page 11 of this thread....
Ah, thanks for that. It saved me a lot of trawling through this thread.
I finished the game last week and the only issue was the water at the very beginning that was already mentioned. There really is no need to wait for anything else at this point.
It's not just the water. I tried it out for 30 minutes or so and I saw at least two other issues: godrays were broken, and I also found some glitchy shadows on statues and the lighthouse. To anyone who hasn't yet played it, I recommend holding off until Helix officially releases the mod. In my opnion (and not just mine) Bioshock Infinite has one of the best beginnings in gaming (when I first played the game, I played the first hour, loved it, but just had to restart so I could immediately play the first hour again!). You really want to see these early parts of the game (and the new helixmod!) at their best. The above- mentioned water issue is quite immersion-breaking in what is otherwise a stunning early area with a lot of wow factor and intrigue. Of course, if you've already played it in 2D and don't need to soak in every detail, the current state of the mod is probably good enough, as Arioch1 said.

You see i got your point in case of wow factors. This game makes me feel a lot like this. I didn`t mind this small area right at the beginning tho because of all this great 3D farther down. Only thing i am concern about is a lot of this areas in new DLC. Water everywhere right !?

I find the current situation of the dx11 wrappers a bit weird, we had a lot of info during a month or so, but it has stopped completely. I wish we got some sort of update on this, still I hope that when the big dx11 games get released we'll get more info.

Maybe im blind but I cant notice anything wrong and I have been played it for many hours in 3d. And guys do change the FOV via ini file hack to atleast 90 percent as the inbuilt FOV are terrible low. Im playing at FOV 105 whitch seems perfect on my 27 screen and maan what an eyeopener to take all the beautifull wistas in with a large FOV :) Heres how you change it. http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Bioshock_Infinite#Field_of_view_.28FOV.29

For me, Helix wrapper has no issues on lighthouse or statues, either with my earlier SLI setup or my current non-SLI setup.

I know Helix doesn't like to be held to schedules or obligations (and we all respect that), but it would be nice to get a status update (even if he's been too busy to work on it).

@mike_ar69:i was using the helix mod linked on Page 11. I've never downloaded the migoto one. The shadow glitch is very subtle. I saw it on the lighthouse at the start, and on the massive comstock statue. In both cases, both of the objects were mostly flawless except for a small area of self-shadow high up and towards the left. The shadow appeared abruptly cropped, but only in one eye. It's also possible that this small glitch only appears in my game. The god rays however were clearly broken. They weren't really bad or anything, but they were clearly rendering overly differently for both eyes. There was one other glitch I noticed that I didn't mention earlier. Occasionally, objects on the far edges of the screen would disappear as you're turning away from them. I saw this at the baptism scene at the start: pilgrims/nuns would sometimes become flat white polygons as you turned away from them. This is clearly the engine turning off elements it *thinks* are off screen, to save resources. But because the stereoscopic 3d viewport is slightly wider than the 2d one, sometimes objects are turned off prematurely. The exact same thing happens in metro last light. I don't know if there's anything helix can do about this. I suspect not, as it might be an inherent part of the game engine.

Set pre-rendered frames to 1 - fixes that issue on most games.
