HI. The Acermod4K override has been working brilliantly for me for a while. Just recently after a GPU crash 3dVision produces blocky images in 3D.
All 2d images are fine, but when 3D vision produces images in motion they get all pixelated with blocks. Games with side by side 3D work just fine, so I'm assuming it has to do with the interleaved 3D vision processing.
Has anyone encountered this before, and know how to fix it?

Hi, just to share: I was about to take the "nuclear option" and reinstall Windows and all my apps–again, but I found the solution.
All I had to do was reset my HDMI port in the LG picture menu. I didn't think that would do anything other put all my settings back to default, but that did the trick. The 3D interleaved image went back to pristine. Whew!
Hope that might help someone if you run into the same thing with blocky images in Nvidia 3D.
Now the last hurdle to clear is HDR. I can't get the Nvidia menu to give an option to go above 8bit color. I have the HDMI port set set to "deep color." but I only have the option for RGB 8 bit. Fortunately it is giving me full range, just not 10-12 bit for HDR.

If you recently installed new drivers, try re-installing them using DDU (Display Driver Sweeper)
And/Or rollback to a known working version.
BTW, since you are a new poster, just in case you do not know it, there are stereoscopic compatibility fixes available for games at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html
I don't know exactly what Blueskydefender added in acermod4kMOD.inf but as far as I remember my Edid cannot to 10 bits and for sure not 12 bit. This only works for me in 1080p, 4k being limited at 8 bits
I didn't use my TV for quite some time now.

How narrow is the sweet spot for these LG OLEDs? How much can you move from the center both horizontally and vertically before the 3D image becomes non-optimal? Would it be possible for two or three people to watch a 3D movie?

Yes, it's no problem for multiple people to watch a 3D movie. The vertical sweet spot is smaller than the horizontal one. But in normal living room conditions, you wouldn't have any trouble. I use it as a gaming and PC monitor at short distances right around 4-5 feet away. At that distance, the vertical sweet spot is very small. At 4 feet it's a matter of an inch or 2, and that gradually increases as you move back.
The horizontal sweet spot is much more forgiving-- a couple feet either direction even at 4-5 feet away, which also increases with distance.

I thought I was done having religious 3D experiences, but thanks to the help in this thread tonight I got my new LG 55E6 working in 3D at 4K. I never thought I would experience this, and with a surround setup impractical on many levels believed the Asus VG278 was the pinnacle of PC 3D gaming for me.
With only a single 1080 my frame rates were not locked 60, but easily good enough. I played Yooka Laylee and Assassin's Creed Rogue. The latter was hitting 43fps with everything at max (no AA) but it is totally playable. Both looked stunning, and the 3D was perfect. I had that de-syncing issue that's been mentioned, but just hit the 3D button on the remote to sort that whenever it happened.
Getting the monitor override to work in Windows 8.1 was a bit of a pain, and I'm not sure if it'll work again now I've rebooted back into Windows 10!
What a fabulous excuse to try and finish some older games in 3D such as AC Rogue, Mad Max and Darksiders II.
I did try Edith Finch too (with the mod) but it just wouldn't kick into 3D.

hello everyone
first of all I would like to thank the working spirits here for giving me the information necessary to fulfill a childhood dream of the ultimate gaming experience.
to make a long story short, I bought an LG OLED C6 65" tv and built a very powerful computer with a nvida 1080 ti gpu and I have been successful in making this computer and tv work together to output jaw dropping 3d gaming experience.
the only problem is that I cant play HDR games with the 'acer passive 3d lcd' edid override (from joker I think) and It could be nice to have an edid override that could provide this with native 4k resolution (I tried blue defender mod edid but there was a problem with lower resolution setting within games). nevertheless, it is awesome without it also!
finally, I want to recommend everyone that happened to find LG tvs 2016 model (c6, e6 or g6).. if ypu have the money, don't think twice dudes..grab it like crazy.. kill for it ;)
you wont believe your eyes..
thanks again everyone

immersion22 - Welcome to the 3D Vision community! Did you change default Output color format (Limited RGB), under Display/Change resolution in NVIDIA Control Panel? Using either YCbCr444 or RGB Full range improves the TV's dynamic range, but 10-bit color depth is not offered as an option with the EDID mods I have tried, unfortunately.

Chtiblue: before buying this new lg oled I had 40" Samsung 1080p tv which was very good (and now It's in my bedroom). I have to be honest and say that speaking of movies, I like the Samsung tv motion better.. very smooth without this opera effect whatsoever.. but let me tell you this, for gaming, the lg oled is like a dream.. I never experience such blacks on a tv.. black is a black - period. And this variable contribute big time in games especially in darky mood games.
Whyme466, thank you :) very glad I found you guys. With my Edid I have only the 8bpc option with full RGB. I know that this tv can output 10 and even 12 bit so maybe I'm losing some extra eye candies .. I don't know. But it's kinda disappointing to play games supporting HDR without HDR.
If someone know of something I can do about it I'll be grateful.
Ethan.

I suggest contacting NVIDIA Customer Care and formally request 3DTV Play with HDMI 2.0 and 10-bit video. I recently initiated a Surge problem report that made NVIDIA Engineering aware of this 4K EDID capability (they did not seem to know anything about this). Not sure what they will do, but we need to continue advocating for a complete NVIDIA solution, rather than another EDID work-around.
In this recent lengthy interaction with Customer Care, I mentioned my 2015 Customer Care request for HDMI 2.0 support, as well as several relevant 3D Vision forum threads, including EDID mod discussion. More user feedback would be helpful...
