You do understand that "3d" gaming is gaming on a special 3d monitor, while wearing 3d glasses - right?
This is for that kind of gaming. Not for gaming on a normal screen. Your old AGP card couldn't play anything in 3d.
In other words, this is a forum for stereoscopic gaming specifically. Not trying to sound snooty, but posts concerning just general 3D gaming are considered off topic for this forum.

Uhem. And just where do you think I started playing in 3D with shutter glasses? Hmm? :D

Sounds sick. I still need to play ME1 on new fix. Top 10 games of all time for me. [ME2 is number 1 though].
Sorry Tian, not everyone here is being polite...
Here is an example of a stereoscopic 3D picture that we are always talking about:

When you see it on your screen, it will probably look like a double image. You can use Red/Blue glasses to view it in the stereoscopic 3D.

ME1 - The female companion butt cam elevator riding simulator... IN 3D!!
(Edit-The elevator riding never bothered me in ME1, unlike the rest of the planet.. it's just in 3D messing with the camera's angle suddenly becomes a lot more fun.. in a rather juvenile sense)
Also, the entire Bring Down the Sky segment.. awesome in 3D.

Here's a cross eye 3D image of Dishonored, get it as big as you can on your screen, save it and view it fullscreen. Now look at the center of the image, between the two images and then cross your eyes until they both come together and make one 3D image in the center. That's the 3D we're talking about. :D

Technically, you can do it the size it is on your screen and it is easier to do that way but the bigger it is the better it looks.

It's not a joke. each of the two screenshots are at slightly different angles. When you view them as one image (by crossing your eyes) your brain interprets it as being in 3D like your eyes normally see.
What I do is as I cross my eyes I focus on an object in the scene that's easily discernible, then focus on overlapping that object with the other copy of it in the other image.
When you have it right the 3D is very pronounced.
Funny that images that would require glasses got a better reaction than the ones you can see with your own eyes.
