[quote="eqzitara"]I preordered Deus Ex from them 6 months ago and decided I really didnt want to deal with G2A for like $5.00 savings.
So I cancelled a month ago.
I have still not got the money. They keep saying they refunded it and since paypal will only protect for like 3 months there was little I could do. I literally had 10 conversations with them and like 2 with paypal.
G2A employees cant even look at there paypal system cause of "reasons".
They just keep saying we cancelled it on our end.
They said a few days ago that they will have the IT SPECIALISTS look into it -_-
Ironically paypal refunded the money out of there own pocket since I am a good customer and they see that I did not get the money and that game is literally not out.
I even paid for that G2A shield BS. NOR was this from a reseller. This was directly from G2A.

Greetings eqzitara,
If the order was cancelled, we issue a refund request to the payment operator and cancel the order you made on our side. After that, the waiting time depends on the payment operator, really. This can vary and take anywhere between 5 and 28 business days (the longest time is usually connected with payments through a credit/debit card). If you have waitied this long and nothing came, you can always contact us at our e-mail below and we will investigate this with our Payment specialists.
If you have any further questions, keep in mind that you can always find additional information on G2A's FAQ page or by contacting us in 8 languages on helpdesk@g2a.com. Our consultants are there for you 24/7.
We hope to see you soon again at G2A.COM!

Hello ZePRiNCE!
We are sorry to hear that someone would loose their trust in us, but we always try to improve in all aspects, improving protection of sellers and buyers and making sure the former offer legaly acquired keys. It would not be healthy for the market, and consequently us, if we didn't strive to do otherwise and we are monitoring all the sellers closely. Furthermore we introduced our G2A Direct program thanks to which developers not only can sell their keys directly but also apply for earning for all sales of their keys on our website :)

i bet all the ones selling Cheap keys are doing it.
I used to download alot back in the days. most of it just for test but anyways.
nowdays i never download and just because of two things first every site seems to be
full os shit infected stuff nowdays. and second, I like paying for my games. but most of the
time i don´t like bying 50-70 euros for a game, especially i have lot´s of games even currently i have not
played and i have payed full price a while back.
If it´s true that g2play and g2a are indeed full of huslers as sellers, i´ll move on to checking
first from cd keys but i doubt there is difference and that i can tell there is not many games i would buy
at fullprice from steam.

As another option...
On newly released games you can get 20% off at Amazon for up to two weeks after release, if you are a prime member.
Not as cheap as some places, but still another option.
It might not be a Steam key though, with Origin, Uplay and others selling games now.

The biggest hint for the volume of stolen keys on G2A is their guarantees and refund policy.
G2A does not guarantee the legitimacy of the keys, nor refund you : that responsibility lies 100% on the seller.
But G2A will gladly sell you an insurance program (G2A Shield). Which by definition acknowledges that the phenomenon exists, and that it happens a lot.
This is a great model for G2A :
If you buy a legit key, they make money on the commissions + a bonus on the insurance.
If you buy a stolen key, they still win because they can seize the seller's account (and keep all the money on from the other non-revoked keys the seller has sold), and they don't even pay for your refund because it's already being paid by the other people who are paying for insurance.
The game devs foot the chargeback bill from payment networks (VISA/Paypal/etc...) for reversing fraudulent transactions in their shop.
And you get the blame from the developers for using a stolen key (your game account is suspended/banned)
In fact : with such a model, G2A make the most profit by letting some of the stolen key sellers slip through. (it's a perfect for money laundering)
I just had a new quick look at their website, and yes. The policy is still the same.
I also notice the extremely advertized fidelity program with very disturbing language :
"goldmine", "earn real money", "tell your friends and watch your profits", "assemble your team", "levels"...
This is very suspicious language usually coming from "pyramid schemes" businesses. (aka scams)
