Maybe? Or Nvidia's version of Alexa/Cortana? "Once considered a business tool, innovative AI applications that will change the way people live, work, and play are on the rise. But can AI replicate human emotions and intuition? Does it need to? Hear what’s next for AI and its impact on daily life." Or a new robot? Also interesting A recent job posting on LinkedIn for a Senior Marketing Manager – GeForce, Gamer Loyalty & Advocacy http://www.guru3d.com/news-story/nvidia-club-geforce-elite-and-gtx-1080-ti.html You will champion the voice of our player community You have a strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and experience building and activating passionate fan bases, cultivating brand loyalty, and turning brand loyalists into super fans and evangelists. I'd like to hope this translates into better PhysX, Surround, SLI and 3D Vision implementations going forward. Afterall, it's the reason that many of us buy Nvidia GPUs. Unfortunately, it seems to be "GeForce Now/GeForce Experience" orientated

I'd like to know why Nvidia can't be bothered with the simple task of updating the 3D Vision certified display list http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-displays.html What a joke, I've PM'd Nvidia employees and called their 1-800 numbers, to no avail. Not to mention the 24Hz cap on 3DTV Play at 1080P, another huge fail on Nvidia's part. Kind of hard to be an evangelist for the Green team when your favorite technology offered by them is treated like a red headed step child. Anyhow, Nvidia should know, that if I buy a 1080ti, it will be because of stereoscopic gaming and this community's fixes. Not so I can stream a game to a tiny little handheld screen. Club GeForce and it's "loyalty program" makes me more nauseous than excited. So if Nvidia wants evangelists, they need to do something besides offer some freebies/giveaways.

+1 I would love to try the autostereoscopy films that you put over top of your screens but most of them I saw in 2013 fell off the face of the earth. I did like it when I had the toshiba qosmio glasses free 3D but the machine was way too underpowered and got as hot as the sun itself xD I would love to make one myself but I don't have the printer type. From here on out, I'm just going to be concerned about the power of the graphics cards. Because all these special features and nvidia only things fall flat almost immediately :(

The only thing big about this announcement will be the price! They throw words around like 'loyalty', 'advocacy' and 'super fans' Lmao. Just support the tech you are selling Nvidia. That would go a long way. The poor chap who gets this job has his work cut out. You can't make chicken soup out of chicken poop! The big announcement will just be a 1080ti for £900 with 10GB of slow as fuck crippled RAM going up against AMD's HBM2 because nvidia are too tight to put the memory in consumer gfx cards and save it for their over priced quadros. I'd never get a car with nvidia tech in it, or a VR helmet made by them. IF YOU CANT SUPPORT THE LITTLE THINGS LIKE THE 720P 3D TV PLAY LIMIT NO ONE WILL TRUST YOU WITH THE BIG STUFF. I hope AMD crush intel and nvidia this time round. It'll bring some healthy, much needed competition back into the game. It'll also help bring prices back down to where they should be. I'm no programmer but how hard would it be to take the resolution limit off??? WTF, how many years??? How many requests to support?? Edit: in fact, they should give me the job. How would I improve brand loyalty and create superfans??? Reading their own forums will be a good start. Have you tried listening to your customers at all? How about implementing customer requests that have been brought up again and again for years? How about streamlining all the bloatware and crap and just stick to supporting neglected nvidia technologies rather than adding more half baked, bug infested crap no one wants? How about giving something back every now and then.

A VR headset that supports virtual 3D monitors (using 3D Vision, naturally) would be pretty sweet. Not so sweet for us - a real 3D monitor will be better than a virtual one for a few years to come - but sweet for the world.

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.

No 1080ti announcement! But Audi get Volta cores?!?! Have Nvidia just handed AMD the gaming throne? Guess we'll find out tomorrow. What was that about? Skynet and an Audi 1080ti AI edition. + Shield 2 with cloud gaming at $25 for 20 hours? Gaming is slowly becoming less and less of a priority for Nvidia it seems. Very disappointing!

Yesterday morning, I went to try the VR helmet from Vive in a shop. Just in passing, it's really impressive. It does not lack much so that I crack on this kind of gadget ... maybe real games (lol). The negative point is obviously the resolution. HD is not for tomorrow in virtual reality. The resolution of the VR SONY headphones is disgusting. Vive is much better with freedom of movement. The occulus (for the moment) offering no freedom of movement will not be mine: moving in a virtual reality, while sitting in the real world, the brain does not understand and returns us to a nauseous state. On the other hand, to return to the subject, the seller explained to me that the 3D was abandoned by the manufacturers. To believe it, just look at the new 4K televisions for sale in stores, the 3D acronym is barred on most of them. The future of 3D is not assured. Maybe one of the reasons why NVIDIA completely misses our expectations or demands.

Also, there is consensus that generally, Oculus touch is superior to Vive motion controls, Oculus has superior image quality, and comfort.
