You would need 2 active display port adapters with a bandwith of 300MHz
Gigabyte GPUs have two Dual Link DVIs out, but there are a lot of reviews on Newegg stating that outputs are failing pretty regular on them.
Accel and Club 3D make these adapters, there may be others. These have an additional usb cable coming out of them to power the adapter. With DisplayPort ++, the extra usb cable might not be needed anymore because of the increased power of DP++. But I'm not sure if newer versions are made for Dual Link DVI, they are for HDMI 2.0

I'm not sure if you can do it with 3D vision Surround, but you might be able to use your old GPU as a PhysX card and use the outputs on it also?
Just guessing, I'd try it, but my 3rd monitor is an unsupported Samsung (S23A700D)that I've never been able to hack for 3D Vision. Works great with my Radeon GPU/TriDef, I love its glossy panel.

You can see in this picture that even Single Link adapters require an embedded chip.

I bought 3 of these for $8 each to hook up displays. Unfortunately, 3DTV Play does not see it as a HDMI connection and does not enable. Instead it shows generic crt.

1xGTX980Ti is to weak to driver 3D Vision Surround IMO (If you want close to 60FPS in 3D in ANY GAME, otherwise it will perform WORSE than my 2x780Ti in SLI, which in some games I have to lower things down quite a bit in order to maintain a decent FPS).
You should get SLI of GTX980Ti if you EVEN consider 3D Vision Surround on Maxwell. The benefit of this (besides the raw FPS is that you will have 2 DVI ports and will require only ONE DP adapter).
But of course that doubles the price. I am keen to see how 3D Surround will work on a 2xDP + 1xDVI configuration though (but based on my testing I don't think it will run properly)...

I am insane and have 2x Titan X in SLI and many games don't really run comfortably at max settings in 3d surround. It's actually pretty depressing. (and I still get that annoying red resources message and downgrade to 2xaa)

Yupp, without extra "tweaking" ^_^ 3D Surround is very demanding.
