I hope this doesnt mean another game where we have to wait 3 weeks for another nvidia driver release to give us playable framerates.
Sounds like AMD are throwing a lot of money around lately.
If I knew this would work in 3D I would buy it straight away. GreenManGaming have it with 3 extra games,
Bioshock1, Xcom and one other of your choice from a selection.
Damned good deal for a AAA game for 30 odd quid.
In last driver its rating was unrecommended, now I updated and its gone. Strange but I doubt it changes anything.
I cant believe nvidia let amd have bioshock infinite. Regardless of 3d vision, physx could of been a saving grace. Now I am gonna watch a let's play of it instead probably.

Yes, after the sim city debacle as well, there is more then one good reason to hold of from pre-purchased. My last pre-purchase was for crysis 2. Steam let me cancel it though when i heard that it had no dx11 on launch and 3D was faked. That saved me on £35.
I know it's not much, but eqzitara's news is at least a ray of hope. I love physx, but great physic engines have been used in games that don't use it (crysis 1 is still great imo). IGN review should be coming out tonight. They have been doing it on the xbox, and said the graphics are nothing to write home about with fps drops but has lush art design.
They said they should test the PC version to compare for the final review. Really hope it's a great game.

Lol, quite clearly. Are you not saying that bioshock was not recommended, and now there is no recommendation?
Wouldn't that imply that there has been a change, and any change from not recommended has to be good considering not reccomended is the lowest rating?
It was rating "not recommended" this was after game went gold. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/533337/bioshock-infinite-rated-not-recommended/
Can hope I guess, but I think its unlikely.

Boo!
My hope is that when Oculus Rift gets enough attention 3D will be taken more serious by developers.
Chicken and the egg scenario. Will devs be willing to take risks in a volatile gaming marking. Doom 3 is not even working on OR anymore. Hope this changes soon, as that was one of the main game to work with it (was even the game given with OR for kickstarter backers).
Still, valve seem to be very much behind it. Team fortress is using the OR, thank god that Gabe seems to be on the button on this one.

I'm seeing articles about OR all over the place at the moment. Comments are nearly always positive too. I think people are interested.
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
