Sony has officially announced that it will bring all of its first-party titles on the PC platform. (...
Shadow of Colossus on PS3 has good 3d and resolution, just old style meshes and textures. The game was an artistic marvel though, so I think it is fine on PS3 as is.
I agree that certain games have a charm of their own, in their original version. But I've tried several times to play through this game, but the controls, camera and combat are too awkward when combined.
I'm hoping that the new version/remake addresses these issues and makes it enjoyable for me, when I eventually get it.
Ultimately, it would be an instant buy on the PC with 3D. So Sony looses money in the long run, because it's nowhere on my games to play this year list.

Not entirely true :)
Copy pasted from the Web:
Grand Theft Auto V broke records when it first released in 2013 and it hasn’t left the best seller charts since. In fact, the game has now sold 90 million copies worldwide, with 15 million of those sales occurring in 2017 alone.
GTA V is kind of an exception (there are exceptions to every rule) - pretty amazing game also, with very broad appeal.

A friend of mine who has the new version says it does come with a new control option (you can switch between original and new controls). However, he said even the new controls are not perfect - they still don't feel tight.
The new version does not have 3d, either.
Did you know that the horse control was deliberately made a bit random/unresponsive to try and simulate riding a real horse?

Man they really are missing on profit imo. I personally have a PS4 and a high end PC, but I havent open my PS4 for more than 3 years now.... (no ultra wide support / no high frame-rate support) I would totally buy pretty much all their exclusive if they were released on PC.... Detroit / Horizon Zero Dawn / last of us / spiderman... :/
I guess i can understand 2 of the points in which they probably have done researches on...
1. Piracy
2. Subscription

If you are a Borderlands fan, the PS4 VR exclusive is worth dusting your console off.

Yah, Red Dead 1 and 2 on the PC would have brought in so much money for Rockstar, no idea what they are thinking. Afterall, GTAV made their wallets fat, very fat!

But they didn't do GTA5 on PC until, what?, about a year after it released on console? It worked so well that time, I can see why they would do it again for Red Dead.
Ooooh, Shadow of Colossus with 3D Vision... that would be mighty sweet!

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.
