Personally, I have to go with Assassins Creed. Once the convergence is set right, the game world is absolutely stunning! The cities feel alive and the rooftops are a treat to run around on. The one problem I've noticed is the glass cover where you select when to exit or enter memory. It's so close to your face that it has you seeing double, but once you turn 3d off, it's no problem.

For a game that is not 3d certified, it certainly feels like one!

AVATAR looks nice.i played thru it once as a NAVI, tried to play through it as the other faction... but just didn't like it that way.

That's unfortunate about the ghosting. I agree with you at least when in the short lab portions of the game - there is ghosting like crazy. Otherwise, in the historical setting of the game, I have experienced little ghosting. The sky doesn't look right, but I don't spend much time gazing at the sky anyway.

Two games in curious about and, after using search, still can't find much about them in 3d.

Gta iv

Fallout 3

How is fallout in 3d? Is the interface and crosshair in 2d and a pain in the butt? Thanks!

Fallout 3 is just about perfect in 3D. The in-game crosshair is 3D already too, no need for Nvidia's laser sight. Even the Pipboy is 3D; it's neat seeing the little scroll wheel on the left side of the Pipboy pop out of the screen a bit the way I have it set.

I vote BATMAN. That game is 3D READY and is a top quality AAA game. Everyone is right, 3D does make everything better, I also enjoyed Dark Void. A cheap fun little 3D game is Zombie Driver.

The original Bioshock looks great in 3D also. Probably the closest to Avatar's 3D, which is the best.

Sorry mate, the OP wanted games "with no interface problems". IMO any first person game where you cannot disable a 2D reticle has a MAJOR interface problem with regard to 3D.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion have crosshairs which can be disabled - they are cool.

Dragon Age is acceptable (ok splended) but only because just the side-HUD and mouse are 2D which is cool. FYI the mouse is easily ignored and you can quickly learn to use it (the sweet spot is between the two pointers).

BUT

BIOSHOCK's reticle cannot be removed so you have two large reticles in your face.

World in Conflict is the worst contender because it could be so good - as it is the game is a mess of 2D icons swimming around the screen. Pressing F10 to go to screen shot mode shows the possiblilty but sadly it removes all the 2D aspects and you cant play an FPS without the HUD. If only there was a way to keep the HUD but loose the unit icons...

And another vote for Avatar. It's in a league of it's own.

Titan Quest works great as well. You don't have to disable anything (shadows, reflections - everything is rendered properly), but you have to adjust to the mouse cursor hovering around at screen depth. No idea if it's still up, but it was on sale on steam for €2,49 this week (including the add-on) Very nice looking game too.

Same with Dragon Age: push the emitter button and there you go - no adjustments neccessary.

I don't have two large reticles when I play Bioshock. Mind you, I'm using the iz3D drivers, so that may be the difference.

Mate!

What is the iz3D driver? It scrubs the reticle? Cool! Where is it downloaded from?

Obviously when I play Bioshock there is only one physical reticle; it only appears to be paired because it is at screen depth unlike the rest of the game. Like when you see two fingers dispite only sticking one in front of your face whilst watching TV. Hopefully you realised I meant that - soz if I wasn't clear.
