Hey Flugan. I first want to say I'm super happy you've getting to enjoy my MKX and SFV fixes (and, unfortunately, I hate to break it to you, I've looked at shadows in MKX since my fix release, and it doesn't look like that's going to happen. That's some seriously weird stuff going on with those :( ).
I also have to say that is the only contribution I can make toward your cause, because I'm not in much of a better financial situation than yourself (I have substantial debt, am out of work, and thinking about how I can go back to school, if at all possible), have mental health issues of my own (depression, anxiety, autistic tendencies), and generally my own life to take care of (and 2 cats, too! :)). Also, purchasing/playing video games itself is a luxury... which is the point I'm trying to make: most of us here are not rolling in buckets of $ (or have much better life circumstances than you), so you can't expect this community to be a source of income. It's been free since the beginning, plus we've all invested a lot of $ in the hardware, so people are not likely to see it as, "Well, this has brought so much into my life, I really feel I should make a major contribution/sacrifice and pony up some big $ to those who work behind the scenes." I simply wouldn't expect that from ANY hobby community, at least not on a contribution basis alone. If you want to make money then, well, you need to find a way to actively do so: become a professional and find a job, become an entrepreneur and start a business or make a product and sell it. I assure you (from my own experience): if you passively expect things to come to you then, my friend, you will DIE waiting! Guaranteed!
Also, I urge you: please stop bringing up the past over your wrapper vs 3DMigoto (and bo3b), it really doesn't serve you well to hold onto that resentment, and I think you may have a warped perception on how everything unfolded. I've been reading through the thread on here for 3DMigoto right from the beginning, and bo3b was fully transparent about what he was doing right from the beginning. YOU had even said in the beginning it was pointless to develop your wrapper further, and that you would contribute to develope 3DM. What happened to that? Sure, your assembler got added (and, as you've pointed out, my MKX does utilize that out of convenience sake, so here's an official thank you from myself for that), but you could have kept adding to that, which as we now know would have benefitted the community greater than you pursuing your own (sorry to say) selfish, uphill battle. To put it bluntly, you can't expect much sympathy, let alone praise and financial gain, for being the loser in a fight that you chose to make, rather than to cooperate and work with the winning team.
As much as I do understand your pain and hardship, the frequentness of these types of 'pity parties' that you bring up on here just ruin any sense of compassion I could have. The first time it happened, I could have related. Twice I might have still forgiven. Three times, ugh, again? And now, after god knows how many times: "Oh, another season, time for another Flugan episode."
Sorry to end on that note. I wish you the best that you are capable of achieving! And by all means, develop a product that I/we all want and need, and you'll see some of my hard earned $, but until then, ugh...

I expressed my support and appreciation on the very first page of this thread, my very first two posts... not sure what else you want from me.
I'm not sure what you expect from this community, to turn a blind eye when you talk against it and the people in it?
None of us is bading in money. The hardware alone is exremely expensive. I think everybody here agrees that 3D Vision is 100 times better than playing in 2D. As soon as you have played smething in 3D you really don't want to go back to 2D land. My contribution might not have been necessary but as DJ-RK sais it made the fix very easy to do saving him a lot of time. If he wants a donation I'll send him a donation for his excellent work. If he rather not recieve a donation I'm fine with that too.

Thanks to everybody using my assembler it warms my heart.
To have a critical piece of code that everyone can enjoy!
What more can you ask for?
The decision to accept donations or not is a personal decision. I accepted donations in the beginning but then I stopped for a long while. It is now posible to donate again.

I was under the impression that you're kind of 'mad' due to not being appreciated for the work you've done, I think that the community was grateful enough but the company that made the tech itself havent at all, and they're doing really well so I dont really get their reasoning its not like that they would have to invest millions into this hance why I pointed at who's fault its all is.

Seriously, what the fuck are you talking about?
WHO told you to fuck off and leave?
Quote the posts, you can't because no one said that.
I have been part of the 3DMigoto development team since 3DMigoto went open source, my contribution to 3D Migoto have made made some very comlex game fixes possible. As a part of the 3D Migoto team I feel offended if you're under the impression that there is a competition going on anywhere. We are all in this together and together we are mighty.
I want to remind everyone that 3D Migoto is open source and it's a group effort. The project has currently three coders who has different expertise and work to solve different kinds of problems. There is a reason why there is a single developer for the assembler component. bo3b is the front man fixing bugs and troubleshooting some really weird crash bugs etc. 3D Migoto wouldn't exist today without him. I mean he's the one who revived 3D Migoto by negotiating with Chiri to release the code as open source to begin with. He also took the responsibility of becoming team leader and maintainer of the code.
Let's not forget Chiri's biggest contribution.
He named the wrapper 3DMigoto
Migoto means beautiful; fine; splendid; admirable in Japanese.
bo3b is doing this because he finds it rewarding and he does not need any donations because he has a well paid job and this is his passionate hobby. He's a really experienced sofware Engineer in California.
Both me and DarkStarSword is in the same economical circumstances and we are both looking for donations. DHR is one of our top game fixers and he is looking for donations. Mike seems to be in the same position as bo3b and have no economical problems so he is not looking for donationsl
Mike's work has been invaluable as he has probably become our best shader fixer next to DarkStarSword.
Guybrush is helping the team by buying games for us shader hackers to share inbetween us making it very cost effective. We only need a single copy to work on a game. The games are bought very cheap at russian prices. People have already donated for the purchases of games. DarkStarSword donated to the MGS5 prequel. I donated my personal copy of MGS5. As mentioned we have a very kind and anonymous soul who donated $150 towards future purchases. The following games has been donated anonymously: Rise of the Tomb Raider, XCOM 2. Just Cause 3. Lara Croft & The Temple of Osiris. Dragon’s Dogma. Company of Heroes 2. Cities: Skylines, Assetto Corsa.
People are already contributing money to our cause.
DarkStarSword has recieved quite a bit of money from donators.
Please support the 3D Migoto developers and DHR as well.
We are dedicated to provide the best possible experience using 3D Vision.
Think for a second where you would be without us. We are keeping 3D Vision alive for everybody to enjoy. The project is open source and all the fixes are provided for free. We are a passionate tightnit group. Some of us are even lucky enough to have a job unlike me.

WTF, you used your second Steam account to talk about yourself in the third person?
I would have to see the original thread before offering you any sympathy because you can say some random stuff. I don't doubt that you were taken out of context and miss-interpreted. I also doubt that you were doing anything deviant.
I would certainly advise that you do not post personal information about yourself and your life. It makes your threads extremely awkward and only alienates people from you.
Like was there any real reason to tell people that you were locked up in an insane asylum?

Harrassment (Still looking for male and female gamers for clan gaming)
My friend was on the forum yesterday.
He's autistic which a serious handicap he has to work hard every day to overcome.
Because he is autistic he takes everything literally and has problem identifying irony.
He does not understand how people can say one thing and mean another thing.
He has trouble reading between the lines.
He can appear a little strange as he is not always polite and says things in a very direct way.
Some people can think he's being ironic while he is 100% serious.
Why can't we allow people especially ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ people to exist as well.
He was really upset. I really had to work hard to calm him down somewhat. He is still very devastated and it will take significant time for him to recover.
I don't think he's met that many mean people at the same time in his life. Life offline is simpler as he doesn't have to deal with 50 people calling him a creep and a pervert. Given his condition it's actually not that suprising that he is still a virgin at the age of 33. He's actually a bit weird he happy living by himself as a partner would cause trouble and mess up his extremely structured way of life. He's very sensitive and I'm really fond of him for all he's achieved given his bad luck in life. I consider him to be a savant he is so great at so many things it literally blows my mind.
He has to work on his own terms but he's a brilliant computer expert behind flugan.net. He also spent 3 years modyfying TYPO3 CMS with 250 000 lines of code create a much improved CMS. Brilliant musician and photographer. He went to CHALMERS and was the absolute best student in his year which he was rewarded a medal for.
Now it comes to the dark side. He also suffers from bipolar disorder and because of his autism the manic episodes become extremely difficult to handle. Normal medecine doesn't work and while being in a terrible mental state he's forced to just wait for the episode to end which can take months. He has a dedicated team around him that help him many hours a day.
I just want to ask what is wrong with you people? He doesn't deserve this.

In my opinion, you should leave and work on your life. Get some fresh air, enjoy the warmth of the sun, make some new friends.
One thing you can't do, is stay on the road that you are traveling. Life is too short, change it up for the better.

I was refering to this post.
I was paraphrasing when I quoted him as saying fuck off.
I was basically getting the impression that he wanted me to fuck off.
I don't deserve that.

DSS and DHR very low keyed when it comes to donations.
All this started with some user being impolite and then it turned to nobody is donating and cares. All the user's have told you over and over Thank you myself included.
Everyone has problems this is way of life and I wish life was problem free but it's not this is a 3D vision forum this thread is way off topic.
Let's just call it a day

Christ Flugan....
It's not about "hiding." I for one am glad the internet still has some element of Anonymity and dread the day that this ever changes. (also yes please change your Avatar back to the old one, it was cool.)
Anyway I think you will find your life on the internet will become a lot easier if you are less personal about this, and keep it on topic. Really this isn't the place for this and it sounds like you definitely need a break. I do appreciate your work. I am yet to donate to anyone monetarily but I am intending too, but due to your attitude it will likely to someone else at this point... But also remember for the longest time it was borderline frowned upon. In that capacity I have been more inclined to donate games to the shared Shader hacker steam account, as it's more in line with the spirit of this community.
I haven't seen anyone attack you, but you on the other hand seemed to have become a bit nasty on occasion, especially in this thread.
If it is the topic of appreciation, I haven't seen anything but it directed towards you yet you seem to periodically create threads like this demanding it. Not really the way to endear yourself to people. It just smacks of attention seeking. When you have most people have been very gracious as well, which is another example of why its so amazing around here. But I can see this changing for you if you insist to carry on like this.
This is one of the only bastions of the internet that has a positive supportive community, lets keep it that way shall we?
I'm sorry if this is rude but really using your illness as a shield does not justify you being a hostile ass to people here.
You are obviously a talented guy and if you are after money I am sure you will be able to find a more lucrative area to use your talents on. This area is not the place. So do it for the right reasons.
May be best if a mod just deletes this thread.

@Conan481, I applaud you for sharing that and taking the steps to change your life up. I hope you have an incredible journey on your hike.
@Flugan You need to stop getting high on drugs and get high on life. Change up the meds and change up the routine. I wished you a Happy Birthday and sincerely hoped that this would be a better year for you in your other thread. But for this to be a better year, you need to do something...anything...other than remaining in this rut that you seem to be stuck in.

Why don't you leave yourself if we are discussing the topic.
But basically you are trolling by attacking me personally and not contributing anything to this thread.

Seriously, what the fuck are you talking about?
WHO told you to fuck off and leave?
Quote the posts, you can't because no one said that.

I was refering to this post.
I was paraphrasing when I quoted him as saying fuck off.
I was basically getting the impression that he wanted me to fuck off.
I don't deserve that.

Everyone has problems this is way of life and I wish life was problem free but it's not this is a 3D vision forum this thread is way off topic.

At least admit that you are asking me to leave.
Why don't you leave yourself if we are discussing the topic.
But basically you are trolling by attacking me personally and not contributing anything to this thread.
