Haven't had any issues at all with WoW and 3d Vision as of patches 4-4.1, but since today's 4.2 update something is screwy. I'm getting weird proportions that I can't seem to fix with the in-game settings or through the nvidia control panel. It's like the offset of the two images is bent or something (?) -- depths are all off and size proportions are off. Am I the only one seeing this? I just noticed what I think might be the problem -- the in-game convergence slider isn't working at all. Sliding it left or right has no effect whatsoever.
Also, separately, I haven't been able to get DX11 to work with wow at all. Every time I set it to DX11 it just defaults right back to DX9.

Hmm - I just logged in to check how DX11 works with beta 275.50 drivers and found that cursor is now 2d (yes, I disabled hardware cursor in the adv. options menu). I also don't see any 3d options/sliders in the menu, but everything is adjustable via standard nVidia shortcuts. Aside from skybox, S3D is awesome with DX11, but how do I fix 2d cursor? Anyone with similar problem? How is it with 275.33 whql drivers?

Cursor has always been 2D in DX11, it's only 3D with the DX9 driver.
Name plates are also in 2D in DX11 but not in DX9.
As far as I can tell the DX11 renderer ignores all depth hints on 2D elements.
Like items close to the plane of the UI/screen have perfect depth the objects, but anything deeper then that feels very distant and flat..
Its kinda hard to explain. /blarg.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':/' />

Well, cursor in Civ 5 DX11 mode is 3d, so why it cannot be made 3d in WoW too?...

I'm sure it can be made 3D in WoW it just has never been 3D when using the DX11 driver.
As I said in my previous reply the DX11 renderer in WoW has a number of 3DVision issues that do not exist with the DX9 driver.
Most notably it completely ignores the depth value on UI Frames, which affects nameplates (the things you bring up in game with the V key).
Clearly when blizzard wrote the DX11 driver, 3D Vision was not a priority, and they lost features compared to the DX9 driver.
Given at one point WoW was completely broken in 3D with the latest NVidia drivers for going on 6 months, I very much doubt Blizzard even test in 3D so I wouldn't expect a fix.

At a first I'd say it's not normal... you should get less

Everything is alot flatter, and convergence isny making any difference
