I am thinking about selling my 55C6P if anyone is interested. I don't want to sell it but I need to purchase a newer vehicle. The location is Northwest Florida. And I will post it on r/hardwareswap , my username is gatorkea.

I think im gonna keep the tv lol. Anyways, how come playing pc games on these tv's look a little darker than playing console games? It just seems like the colors pop a little better when on consoles. I'm pretty sure I have my settings correct, RGB Full or 444 chroma 8 bit, tv set to game mode. I do not have updated firmware on my C6P.

Hey guys, I recently updated my GPU drivers and tried to reinstall the edid and cannot get it to work now I get, "Windows encountered a problem installing the drivers for your device". Tried about 3 different versions of the edid with no luck.

If you installed 388.71, it has serious issues, at least for me:
After years I have my first BSOD with this driver.
Displays won't get up from sleep, disconnecting and reconnecting the cable required.
Also this driver won't let other drivers to install for me, all installations failed. I had to use safe mod and DDU for fixing the issue (I always use clean istallation with drivers).

I am trying to get the EDID hack to work for my Letv X3-55 4K passive 3D TV. I made the changes to the EDID according to the steps listed by mazee in post # 195 of this thread. After installing the modified INF and rebooting, I'm still not getting the "Optomized for Nvidia GeForce" image in the NVIDIA Contol Panel. Am I missing a step?
Relevent system information - Windows 10, GTX 1070, driver version 388.71 (I also tried with 388.13), attached to HDMI 2.0 port on TV (working at 4K 60hz 4:4:4 chroma)
I've attached the unmodified INF file from MonInfo to this post (rename extension to .inf) in case that helps.
Any help would be appreciated.

hello, after looking thru this thread I decided to purchase the oled65c6p. I'm looking into getting the perfect picture. I've had 3d on a 1080p nvidia vision laptop with active display glasses and previously Ive had 3d on a playstation display with a ps3. Do you know if a passive display tv will work as good as an active display monitor.
im using a ryzen cpu with a 1080 ti.
My favorite game to play was starcraft 2 and fallout 3. I can't seem to get the picture to look as good as my laptop. I read through the thread and I remember hearing that only nvision runs at full frame and everything else runs at half. id like to get 3d vision working but its been gone since i installed the first edid. Im now using the 11-25-2017 version of joker18 profile. thanks.
