Convergence and FPS games and L4D glitch? or other game types, i supose.
How do most of you set your convergence/depth in 3D? I've been setting my convergence up to the point where my gun models comes together into one image w/ the glasses off, and then the depth is usually about 50-70% i find. For some games this works great and gives some good pop-out, but for some this ruins the usability of the HUD (Dark Messiah comes to mind, i have to disable the HUD altogether to play it w/ convergence inceased over default).
So far I've REALLY been enjoying both Killing floor and L4D1 (not so much 2) with these settings. I've been playing awesome in both games too, and it just seems like i've been getting more headshots since i started tinkering with the convergence, but that might just be in my head.
One problem i've been noticing in L4D2, on the crash campaign, my left lense gets really bright while the right stay normal... its like there's glaringlyg bright HDR on the left eye and not the right, and it only happens when there are light sources in view in such a way. Anyone know how to fix this? I haven't seen it on the original campaigns in all the time i've played it, just the crash course or whatever, that short pathetic excuse for free DLC.

Generally ALT+TABing out of the game and back in fixes this.
Cheers,
