I'm trying to find out an answer to a simple question for a couple of days without success....
If I purchase Nvidia card with HDMI out, play a blueray using TMT or PowerDVD on the PC and connect that PC to a Passive 3D HDTV (from LG, model LW570Y), will the TV be kicked automatically into 3D mode and will the BD3D indeed be played correctly in 3D (using the frame packing) ?

Well if you wan't to use the PC hardware to create the 3D effect, you will probably need 3DTV play if you buy it(a software to enable 3D vision to be used with custom Television Glasses) it will work automaticaly in 3D, but there is the option of just running the movie at full screen and create the 3D effect by the television something like, running the video SBS/Checkerboard/Interlaced and tell the television that you are running in that format so the television will create the 3D effect for you.
