Is there an posible that nVidia 3d vision glasses works by using IZ3D driver?
I brought the nVidia 3D visition kite yesterday, i found the system ran great in supported games.
But I always like to play some older games, that might not work great in Windows 7 system, and the driver of 3D vision is also not working in XP.
Then I found IZ3D driver might give me some help, but the question is when I open the games by IZ3D driver, the 3D glasses could not work at the same time.

i think that's not true but i'm not sure. At least in the case of Bit Cauldron glasses, that will work with a generic driver for shutter glasses from IZ3D or DDD, that usually works with Ati and Nvidia hardware. This not means that 3d Vision glasses will work with those generic drivers, but i understand Bit Cauldron glasses will work with nvidia graphic cards too, not exclusively with ATi. Somebody can explain it better? (my english s*cks...)

The BitCauldron glasses have only been shown working on 3DTVs with a VESA 3D sync port... which is the standard and easy way to get 3D working. The iZ3D works like a charm in this situation since the TV does all the sync : in this case you can use any graphics card.
But this method does not work on 120Hz monitors designed for nvidia 3D vision since these monitors do not have sync ports, everything must be done on the computer. It's the hard way.
Bit cauldron will also provide USB emitters that you can plug on any PC, but that's it. It's up to iZ3D and DDD to figure a way to sync the USB emitter to the display : which is the hard part.

i don't know why Nvidia should announced every generic shutter glasses compatible with their graphic cards from external companies (ex: new Xpand glasses). Every IZ3D driver until today works with nvidia graphic cards. Unless Ati is paying for an exclusive i don't know why this new drivers won't work with nvidia graphic cards. I think Open 3D is just marketing from Ati. I guess somebody still thinks that direct x is an open standar too xDDD

It's not about paying for exclusive
It's the exact opposite : giving to get it to work.
All other types of displays already work perfect with iZ3D on both Nvidia and ATI but 120Hz displays are different : the do not work at all at the moment
These displays need the full collaboration of Gpu driver for iZ3D to work properly.
For it to work on ATI gpus, ATI needs to provide the sync to iZ3D, without this it won't work on ATI GPUs
For it to work on Nvidia gpus, Nvidia needs to provide the sync to iZ3D, without this it won't work on Nvidia GPUs

This talk about ATI and an Open 3D initiative is for 3rd party glasses only (like BitCauldon). It will not extend to the 3D Vision kit unless Nvidia opens up their drivers to 3rd parties (aka when hell freezes over).
