I'll also recommend the VG278H. You may have people coming into this thread and recommending some of the higher resolution models that have just been released, but if you're running SLI 660s (as I was up until recently) you won't have enough power to go above 1080p in 3d.

I've been using the Asus VG278H for a few years now, and I recommend it to anyone. Only reason I don't use it much anymore is because I got a 3D projector a few months ago.

wait for the rog swift??? Ghosting might be improved, and at the very least 1440p 3D (or 2D at least if the PC is struggling at that res)

The VG series is great, but still has ghosting at a level that will one day be considered horrible (even if it is best in its class right now).
Regarding the Swift, I advise against it unless you want to also invest in a significant graphics card upgrade (probably to at least SLI 780s), and maintain a regular upgrade cycle on top of that too.
Also worth considering: a projector. You'll be limited to 720p/60, but the difference is much less noticeable than it would be on a monitor, and the lower resolution will also mean your GPUs won't have to work quite so hard. I'm currently gaming on a VG278H, but I've also just picked up a BenQ W1070 projector - and it's great.
