Out of curiousity does any one know what type of lighting is messed up? Like was it some kind of secondary lighting?
I barely played it though I bought it on day one. I put it off cause I hoped for a dev patch. Im not sure how plausible it is to fix the lighting since its on its own renderer but maybe removal won't effect the game greatly.

Last I checked when the game was released, it looked like the specularity on some objects was messed up (rendering in one eye only) but this was a while ago.. Haven't played the game since then since I finished it two times in a row...I know some patches came after but never looked into it.

It looked reasonably okay to me when I looked to see to see if it worked a few weeks ago - but I literally looked at one level for 5 minutes, mostly to see if stereoscopic was working. I did notice the crosshair was a little off. It was in depth, but maybe 10% closer than what you were aiming at.
Didn't notice any other 3d issues, but as I said, I was only looking very quickly.

Okay, took a closer (10 minute) look. The crosshair seems to actually be deeper than what you're aiming at, but only when you're aiming into the distance. Closer up the issue is either not there, or not noticable.
The other issue is specular highlights are broken, as helifax has said. Can't find a way to disable them using the game's settings, but I can't imagine it being a difficult shader to fix.

A couple of images that I took in the game today clearly show the problems.
Apparently is the specularity who is wrong computed...but could also be some indirect lighting....
Setting GI to off doesn't help, nor does any option unless you put stereo separation to 0 which is basically plain 3D :))
Various reflections are broken or indirect light

You can clearly see the broken reflections on the crates and on the car on the right

Lol:)) in which regards? As 3D quality or separation/convergence?
Yea, square-enix is blowing all their money and blaming the North American branch for lack of profits. There is a good chance these successful games such as Tomb Raider, Hitman Absolution, sleeping dogs, etc. Will be ending at this rate. Not to mention that frankly these games even were some of the highest qualitity PC releases I've seen. Any sale helps right now.
Totally, they have some very talented and passionate devs there at the moment, and have been very PC-friendly. To suport them, I even made a point to buy those games at release, rather than wait for a Steam sale (even though I still haven't played hitman yet)

but I can't imagine it being a difficult shader to fix.
It uses its own renderer which makes it difficult.
I would gladly help with this, but the game is STILL LOCKING OUT 3DTVPLAY users. The stereo checkbox is hard coded to 120Hz, which is a very stupid thing to do.
The only thing I could do is forcing the NVidia auto stereo rendering on, but then all the shaders would require fixing.
I wrote to customer support about this but got just an automated answer back requesting to send in a dxdiag log file and so on, so I gave up.

Was it different in sleeping dogs?
I know you ran into a similiar issue with that.
I dunno its confusing to me since I am not a tv play user but it seemed like most people were able to play with tvplay. Which doesnt make sense since its locked at 120hz and they need 119. I know this isnt a solution for everyone but rather just you. I know you use a projector. Have you ever though of "inf hacking" to make it thinks its one the 3d vision capable projectors? Like use an acer h5360, its covered on 3d vision blog. I didnt read fully up on it but it seems to work.
Personally I'd consider it just over the perk of 3D Vision 2 glasses [amazing] over dlp link.

Mine isn't locked to 120hz, and I'm using the latest version. I have a choice between 100, 110, and 120. Maybe you can edit a registry value/ini file somewhere to force what you need?
