What we are waiting for? What Nvidia needs to do to keep us happy
Hey all,
I'm still considering whether to go stereo3D. I have a Nvidia card but it's unfortunate that Nvidia isn't that active with their stereo3D programme nor are they really informative about where they're heading. At the rate things are going, the edimensional driver is going to be the only thing we have
Anyway I'm trying to summarise what we still need from Nvidia. Obviously general bug fixes is a key one but other then that it seems these are the main showstoppers.
1) Vista support. Both x32 and x64
2) Windows XP x64 support
3) Dualcore bug which prevents some/all? from using stereo3D with dualcore CPUs
4) SLI Support (thanks linus)
5) Fix for bad drop in frame rate on recent stereo drivers (thanks linus)
6) Compatibility with post processing effects such as HDR (thanks RAGEdemon)
7) Support for the GeForce 8800 (thanks Dj Antonino)

I've updated with what other people have mentioned. I don't know if Nvidia is going to care about this post, they should know it all already but it should be useful to new users since it'll give them an idea of what to expect.

Try save profile in game, run regedit and add game sttereo profile DWORD parametr StereoTextureEnabled 1 (available only in several latest stereo drivers). This usualy solve this problem.

Or just simple use that utility http://rapidshare.com/files/8419812/StereoTexture.rar.html for enable stereo postprocessing effects.

Is there anything I'm missing?

This will bring the compatibility rating to about 99.9%
But we may as well be asking the spegetti monster tbh :P
