I'll try updating to the latest drivers and see if that fixes it.
Yes, background is 2d... And there is some form of ghosting... not sure if its is actually crossplay though, it looks like the image is being rendered 3 or 4 times almost; like double ghosting or something....
Its not right.
But hell, single player still impressed me ALOT. In fact, it blew me the #$%@ away !!! /devil.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Like, close your right eye and you see only one picture, but close your left eye and your see double of some stuff, especially in brightly light scenes it seems. Other than that it's fine though, and the game is awesome so far.
Yes, its a strange sort of ghosting, il check your theory
Not if you want good convergence (double imaging). My eyes can easily tolerate 100% but there are only but a few games where it actually looks good without distraction, I find that if you sit right in front of your screen (~3 ft away) then 40-70% percent is usually the sweet spot (40% usually being too low but depending on the game, usually FPS, is better).
I don't usually play with much pop out.. only a few centimeters max, but use 100% depth.... In badcompany2 I had to wind the convergence right in, any pop out and i got issues. Not only that, I had to use 15% depth for anything to be acceptable
ppl are saying that updated drivers makes a huge difference. However, if I update my 3D vision driver to anything newer than my video drivers my hole screen goes red and blue in 3D mode, and that red and blue doesn't even make up a 3D image cause the 3D won't enable. I have to have the same driver version on both my video and 3D vision hardware. Hence I have version 196.21 installed. Are you guys not recieving any problems at all if the video and 3D vision hardware are running different versions of the driver?
I had that issue too. I loaded the game and was WTF !??? red and blue..sort of. So I reinstalled the 3dvision driver (whether or not that replaces my gtx295 driver i don't know), and i got normal 3d again... And it worked to some degree.

Yep, the patch is a must as it fixes the stereo 3D issues in the game. No more problems with some shadows and lights, you can even enable HBAO without issues... AA however still needs to be off (1x) in order to have 3D Vision working. There is also a convergence profile in the new 196.75 drivers rating the game as Good, stating about the problems with the sky... obviously done before the patch was released.
u guys who say the games running perfectly for you: are you guys not having any problems using the weapon sights (rightclicking to aim), or do you just not use them or what? everything is acceptable except when you're lookin down the gun sights, then there's double/triple vision.
@jarvismac, I had some artifacts like that when i first started playing the game. I think it was before i renamed the .exe to something else and lowered the graphics settings (turned AA to 1 and disabled/lowered the other things that were recommended). If you've already renamed the exe and such, the only other thing i could suggest is llowering your clocks if you're overclocking.
Ive tried renaming the exe, and turning off AA to 1m and the others, but still no joy, artifacts all over screen ?
is anyone else playing in 3d with win7 64bit ?
Ive always had excellent 3d results with all my games and often wondereed how other people were having issues, now it appears im the one with problems while others are working fine
the 3d is working great, but cant see whats happening due to the artifacts/polygons

thought so thanks bloody.
also do we know if the cd 1.21 will be coming with the fixed driver set that they will be re-releasing soon?

the fix was a complete removal all of ndvidia file on computer
removed drivers, and reinstall didn't help
but when i removed the drivers, and then downloaded DRIVESWEEPER from Guru3d
running this removed all trace of nvidia, then a re-install of the latest drivers and everything is now working fine
So i can finaly join the group of people saying this game is excellent with 3dvision, their is a slightly bigger hit on framerate than usual, but it looks great
thanks all for help - im positive all will be using the DRIVESWEEPER again in future, a great way to install fresh nvidia drivers

played last night with full cd 1.20, sky looked like crap, few other small problems BUT i was still squeeling like a small girl with a new barbie. Only finnished the first level and watched the clip for the opening of level 2 (snow level) but i can tell this game will rock. Cant wait to load the new drivers and rip this a new one. I could point out specifics but no time but will report back on some of my fav parts (jeep ride lol-trenches)
PS I used 15% depth and loaded up on the convergence=awsome.

I don't usually play with much pop out.. only a few centimeters max, but use 100% depth.... In badcompany2 I had to wind the convergence right in, any pop out and i got issues. Not only that, I had to use 15% depth for anything to be acceptable
