firstly, i find it strange that such popular racing game has slipped Nvidia's attention and there are no stereo profiles neither for Dirt or Dirt 2.
but more to the point.
a very distracting ghosting around objects occurs due to any separation/depth in stereo mode.
reducing separation to absolute possible minimum still leaves a noticeable, distinct line of "ghost" or "halo" around objects (e.g. cars, stones etc).
similar effect was observable in Wolfenstine 2009. i just abandoned playing that game, since it wasn't that great imo, but I like playing Dirt 2 very much and would like to find some solution or workaround..
anybody else is playing this game in stereo and has found any settings that could minimize ghosting?
(for example like in Stalker side-effects are removed if any kind of dynamic lighting is disabled)

i took my time and played with ingame settings to find any way how to minimize ghosting, but nothing works (even setting all options to absolute minimum).
i also tried to modify config file and disabled shadows completely, still no good. :(
not sure if Nvidia can fix this with driver update or should be patched by game developers (e.g. as Andrew mentioned collaboration with Bioware on ME2)
for the moment its the usual pattern as in many cases - reduce separation to minimum and increase convergence.
although far from perfect this helps to get very good kokpit view if you like to play from that perspective (as I do).
p.s. sry for kokpit - properly spelled word is getting automatically moderated.
