I guess what I'm mostly wondering is if you would expect this monitor to support 120hz refresh rates at 1024x768. Thanks.

You should be able to do it no problem if it can do 1600x1200@81Hz

If you can get hold of a driver file, open it up, and it should list all the cmpatible resolutions and associated refresh rates.
