I play yesterday (i play 15 minutes - Boat) and also don't noticed any issue with shadows/lights (i don't tweak anything yet). I suppose when i get out of the Boat i will see some issues, because in the menu with day light i see shadows are a litttle off. Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with shadows/lighting working quite properly, though sometimes there are issues with them but they're no nearly as bad as in the original, lowering depth a little helps with them as well, but mostly they seem to be okay (definitely not rendering in only one eye as eqzitara mentioned). So with your fix, there's no need to use the crosshair removal thingie I posted earlier? Any chance you could take a look if you could get the "rightmosebind" or Chiri's mod to work so that we could use lower convergence values when using ironsights? The right mouse button is also used as a throw-button with melee weapons so maybe we could either use a different key for throwing melee weapons and use the right mouse button for ironsights with lowered convergence or maybe use the middle mouse button for ironsights? Anyway thanks for the fixes so far and for the hard work you've already done!

Wow, thanks a lot for this! I'll test it out once I get the change. Glad to hear that I'm not the only one with shadows/lighting working quite properly, though sometimes there are issues with them but they're no nearly as bad as in the original, lowering depth a little helps with them as well, but mostly they seem to be okay (definitely not rendering in only one eye as eqzitara mentioned). Crosshair it's Ok now...it's not necessary to remove. I dont play to much yesterday (only 15 minutes), but today i will test more...in this 15 minutes only see some fog that are in 2D (it's fixed btw)....i took that shader to find same issues in others shaders (+30 shaders) ALT-TAB with this game mess the shadows/lights BTW. Also Joohan, can you tell me if you use 3DTV Play...i fix Papo & Yo and the fix dont work properly for others, but in my rig yes (it's like in this game that shadows/lights works for a group of people, but for others don't)....so i think it's something with 3Dvision/3DTV play API...some different behavior. I use the "normal" 3D Vision as in I have a 120Hz monitor with 3D Vision shutter glasses. Thanks for the low convergence aiming tip, I'll try it once I get home from work.

Ran the game with your fix and the things you mentioned are indeed fixed. I also used the low convergence aiming and it works great. Only thing is that when aiming with the right mouse button, the crosshair disappears (as it should) but it's still missing once you've done aiming. This is probably because if you have a melee weapon and you use it to throw (right mouse button) the game gives you this big red crosshair indicating where you're going to be throwing the weapon at and this might be the cause for the crosshair being missing once you come out of ironsights. It only comes back once you switch your weapon to a melee weapon. So for now I reverted back to the nVidia laser sight with the in-game crosshair removed. Also some of the HUD elements (mainly the weapon status circle) go all wonky if you adjust depth or convergence. There's also this rain drop effect on the ground which I noticed is rendered at a wrong depth. I'm just giving you my observations as I go along so these are just suggestions for you if you are trying to fix more of these issues in this game. I really appreciate your work so I'm just merely trying to help:)

Thanks Joohan for the feedback!! that was fast...HUD it's not 100% fixed (Shaders/Texture for HUD are a mess, today with more time i will fix it). You can change the Second mouse button in the ini for another key (key = 501), or change melee key in the game in order to use Second Mouse Button. When i get to others issues i will try to fix them (this is still WIP).... doing this batch fixes is very convenient :) save a lot of time. thanks for testing!!!

I was probably turned off because I didnt like the first DI. @dhr set to window mode will prob. work better.

So I'm still using the nVidia laser sight with Mass Effect 2 profile with the original crosshair removed (it seems the laser sight works well with the ME2 profile). Although the shadows do render in both eyes (unlike in the original they rendered only in one eye and were a complete mess), there's still something a little off about them. It's almost like they're rendered for both eyes but are just a bit misaligned, so sometimes they seem to be on top of each other, making them look "doubled". Just throwing my findings out there if they could be of any help. Thanks again for taking the time for fixing this game. The first one was one of my favorites and this seems to be more of the same som it would be great to play this properly in 3D especially since the first one was such a mess 3D wise.

For shadows use this settings in Video.scr file, seems to get the best results for shadows (see screeshot).
