Out of curiosity, has anyone had the occasional issue with W3 exiting to desktop or freezing (while the music and even combat if you are engaged continues in the background)?
I seem to get this issue - now its a bit hard to replicate as sometimes it freezes (with game still running in background as music and sounds suggest) and sometimes i just get a plain old vanilla exit to desktop - no message given.
Now as far as the freezes go, having done some reading I read W3 is quite sensitive to overclocks, so downclocking my cards (considerably unfortunately) seems to improve that. But then there is the occasional exit to desktop - it can take 10 minutes, it can take 2 hours - but it will at some point so I got into a good habit of saving regularly.
I still wonder if anyone has a similar issue? I generally noticed a plethora of these what I call "new" issues (3d disappearing, freezes, exits to desktop with far cry 4, w3, gta V, dying light) once I moved from my 780Tis to Titan X's. I call them "new" issues as I never really had issues with my 780Tis before, all 3d was running pretty much flawlessly.
Would be keen on seeing some feedback from other users on their experience. If I am the only one it may be my overclocks - my stress tests dont immediately suggest there is a problem but who knows.

I've got some problems with the game after upgrading the driver and GeForce Experience to the latest version. I've tried to go back to old drivers 352.86 and uninstalled GeForce Experience, but still the same issue. Also reinstalled the game + patches (1.06) and flugan's alpha 0.08 but still the issue remains.
Now, the issue is that the 3D seams somehow degraded to before the upgrade ... not so much depth + also a lot of shadows that appear only in one eye + misplaced textures (blood stains, paintings on walls...)
Another thing is that the menu is no longer in 3D, only 2D and game goes 3D only in-game. I've tried to use Ctrl+Alt+F11 to see if game was in compatibility mode, but the combination doesn't do anything ... Ctrl+Alt+Insert does not say CM. Seams as the game cannot switch from stereoscopic to CM
I've attached some screenshots ... maybe someone can help me play again the amazing game that was witcher 3 in 3D :)
thanks

Hmm.. I think you simply forgot to apply the fix.. Or the wrapper is not being loaded...

The fix was there in \The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\x64\ ... folder ShaderFixes + D3D11.dll + d3dx.ini
That should be it, right?
I've downloaded the latest version from http://flugan.net/games.htm and before the game starts there is a icon loaded with the text "Powered by flugan.net"
But in-game I have the same issues: different shadows displayed in left/right eye + no 3D menu ... :(
And every time I start the game the green Nvidia 3d info is displayed
Is there a way to force load the wrapper? or, at least to check if it's loaded? Please help

Can you try with the fix from HelixMod blog ?
http://helixmod.blogspot.co.uk/2015/06/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt.html
The fix is a bit down in the page. Give it a try with this one and see if the results are the same...
Are you on Windows 10 by any chance? (Witcher 3 is broken under Windows 10 due to driver problems).

Hey guys.
I just noticed I have a funny problem with this fix and the UI. IN particular the text. It almost looks like its CM mode warping, but I'm definately not in CM mode.
Didn't see any mention of this in the setup, am I missing something is this known about and is there a work around? I'm thinking maybe a graphics setting is causing it.
Convergence preset cycle doesn't fix it.
It's absolutely perfect apart from this.

Double check that you cleanly installed the fix from the blog - at one point I was experimenting with a feature that would do exactly what you describe to the text (I was trying to automatically move the name plates to the correct depth). It was enabled in a few of the alpha releases, but I took it out for the final release as it didn't work very well and caused problems. If you have an outdated d3dx.ini it could still be enabled.

I hate to ask this but... if you are running Windows 10 the 3D mode is broken right? Because I can only get it to work in CM but with issues like the minimap and inventory screens are distorted and a lot of "ghosting" I guess it's called. If I run NOT in CM mode the left eye is all whited out and totally unplayable. I have tried HelixMod fix and have followed directions to a tee, other than using 353.62 of course. You guys do great work and I know that W10 is still unsupported by you guys but I'm getting mixed messages about whether W3 is supposed to work with 10 or not. Thanks.

I haven't been following this thread or the Win10 progress recently (mostly on account of being on vacation), but from what I can gather some people have managed to get it to work. I thought I read that the main problem is that the custom profile gets wiped out for some reason and simply reapplying it might work. Read through the last few pages of this thread (from end of July onwards) and the win 10 megathread and see what people found.

Ok I have one more issue it seems and its quite an annoying one. I haven't been able to find mention of it so apologies if this is well covered. Not sure exactly how to explain it.
Whenever I am in an underground area (could just be All areas with dark lighting) I get a grey texture flash regularly, usually the ceiling but some times the floor.
I am running pretty much maximum detail, I just wonder if its some graphics setting that causes this?
Doesn't seem to be any mention about this sort of thing on the blog.
