Yah, that's a bit crazy that it's because of changing compatibility mode. Here's what helifax posted on Steam "Interesting... Did more research: And apparently if you set the exe in compatibility mode, the DRM requests a key over and over again....until you reach the maximum amount of keys? I just tried it on my desktop and managed to be blocked out of the game there as well....:( WHATEVER YOU DO DON'T CHANGE THE COMPATIBILITY MODE ON the GAME EXE !!!! "

Well, just tried the game 30 minutes ago and apparently it "unlocked" on my desktop again... On my laptop I still can't run it lol... In any case! Don't do what I did ^_^;)) PS: -I've re-installed Steam -I've re-downloaded the game -I've even completely purged and re-installed Windows on my Laptop (awesome 4 hours wasted.) and same result, until now.

Made a quick video with Mike's fix. For anyone wondering we are still trying and experimenting different things with the game;)) Anyway, If you want to see the video: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/544759/3d-vision/3d-vision-surround-video-gallery-/4/ PS: Use 344.65 drivers + Firefox or else the video will not work (busted later drivers; 344.75. 347.09).

Has anyone else tried using this game with 3dTV Play? I cannot for the life of me get this game to fire up in 720p @ 60hz, with no in game settings for refresh rate it is forcing me to 120hz. I have tried everything I can think of in the d3dx.ini file. Nothing works... this usually only happens with ATI branded games so I was a little surprised:( sent an email to the development team, but I am not optimistic.

Chiri made a tool to force certain resolutions/hertz/fullscreen in games that do not allow 3D TV PLAY/VISION to function. Note: It is NOT compatible with every game. can be found at http://helixmod-newsday.blogspot.com/2012/10/chiri-force-certain-resolutionhertzfull.html
For some reason Steam now decided to sync my PCs (desktop +laptop) with my Steam account and it got unlocked on both PCs (after 2 days). Yet, the problem is still there... Don't know what will happen if I try Steam on a different computer for example...

** NEW 3D VISION FIX ON HELIXBLOG ** We have been busy working on this one for a while, and have now put a release out on the helixblog. The game has some stability issues like DAI, but not as bad, and we feel like we have addressed them quite well. If you want to try it, please read ALL the instructions, and particularly uninstall Helifax's earlier fix if you had installed that so that the shaders do not intefere. There is a difference (again) between SLI and non-SLI, but in this case it's less serious, and we just have to disable some effects that render in one-eye in both non-SLI and Widescreen mode.

Quit to Main menu (it should be rendered in 3D) and reload the savegame. 2. If the 1st one FAILS after 2-3 attempts restart the game.! I was able to play the game like this almost all the way through! PS: If the revert happens during area transition RUN to the 1st Crystal/Save Point activate it and do the above steps. I have tested this on Both Surround & Single GPU (as both manifest the exact same way even IF in Surround SLI is used).
