Every second spent on doing a fix for 3D Vision, for any game, should be noted and put in history books, for next generations to know. ;)
+1 to "thank you guys, you are the saviors of PC 3D".
I won't touch Shadow of Mordor in 2D knowing that someone is working on it.
I might wait even a year. Just don't give up.
Also, I'll advice to open donations for anyone that did at least one useful fix.
This takes time, and everyone has live, have to earn money for the living etc.
Maybe with donations, we could see more fixes, and better ones?
Thanx again to everyone who works for the good of the 3D community. Nvidia employee (that one, that was not fired yet) doesn't count. They should do it, they took our money, that's a whole different story.

Maybe there is some way to make donations like a donation pool where anybody donate for game what he would like to see in real 3d (or moderators make a list of games which they can give a try to make 3d), and when some of the moderators make fix for it, all 3d community which has donated for this particular game give approval, then money goes to this moderator.
This way maybe could attrackt new people who coud give a try to make a 3d fixes.

Just an update to say that I am back working on this as of this weekend. It's not looking bad already, but it's a tricky game to work with because alt-tabbing out of game to fix a shader more often than not results in a game crash, so it's a bit slow going. There are some things I have not looked at yet like blood decals, rain effects at screen depth, the HUD, etc, and there is an annoying shadow 'snapping' issue that is eluding me, as well as some lights I know about. I have only played the first 10 minutes (over and over and over again) up to the part where you stand on the first white tower thing.
If anyone wants to be a beta tester please PM me, as I am in no way going to be able to track all issues down, and I also don't know if the game dumps new shaders as it progresses (though it probably does). I can then send the fix.

WOW good news mike!! bob has solved the problems with the SM5??
Not fully. I fixed some parsing problems so that we can see all of the shaders in the game, even with some errors in the compilation. If we need a shader for a given effect, we can at least fix them manually now. So SM5 is mostly OK, if limping.
But, I still have a problem with 3Dmigoto that makes it crash, and that's still an ongoing problem. I'm still debugging this, but am having trouble getting a reproducible case. It changes each time, which suggests a multi-threading problem, and that is very hard.
Mike has made amazing progress by dint of a deep well of patience with the crashes.
On my system, I don't see the crashes when alt-tab out, only when doing shader dumping. There is a timing problem, and it seems also related to multiple screens. When I run single screen it's more stable.
Edit: Narrowed this down to two different crashes, one game related, one 3Dmigoto related. Any alt-tab with SLI enabled will crash the game. No SLI works OK for that. Still debugging the 2nd crash of buffer overrun problem.

In the Creed Unity thread I noticed that two of our heroes (Bob and Mike) are currently discussing their next project. Since you guys were working on this one here recently I just wanted to know if you are still working on Mordor or if it has turned out being unfixable in the end.

We will be releasing this fix in the next couple of days :-) There is one effect I have not fixed yet. There are a couple of other minor issues still, and the Menus are screwed up still since the focus has been put on the in game HUD. But it looks great :-)
