Weird 3DTV Play Behaviour
Hi,

I'm trying to use 3DTV play with my GTX 570 and Cello TV. My TV isn't on the official list of supported sets since it's a budget brand, but inside it's an LG 3D capable panel.

The NVIDIA Control Panel recognises it, and I can go through the 3D Vision setup wizard ok.

The demo with the big spinning logo works flawlessly. Heaven benchmark works great.

However, the message that says "press ctrl+alt+insert" to hide it doesn't hide when I press that combination - but it does if it I use old fashioned 3D Vision Discover. Worse, I can't even change the combination because for no apparent reason, the button for that is greyed out in NVIDIA Control Panel, as is "Change 3D Laser Sight" and the depth slider.

Seems kind of wrong...

If I launch Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, Audiosurf, Bioshock, LA Noire or Skyrim, it doesn't display the little message in the corner or run in 3D. But as I mentioned, the Heaven benchmark works great, as does Battlefield 3.

How can I get 3D working on all games - and how can I make the message hide?

I'm using the 301.24 beta driver with the trial of 3dtv play (which expires in 2 days so I'm hoping to find out if it's worth buying before then).

Thanks!
