just installed Support needed:2233RZ blue led starts blinking when using S3D
Good evening,

My Nvidia 3d vision bundle arrived . Maybe i'm too exited and i did something wrong, please help me.

I installed stereo drivers, the wizard started, the lcd was found, i turned the glasses light on (green LED) and then, when it showed the screen with square and triangle to test the glasses, after 20-40 seconds the monitor went black and the front blue led started blinking endlessly.

After a reboot, i went to nvidia control panel (ver 2.2.390), where everything SEEMS regular: refresh rate is 120hz, S3D is enabled. The screenshot shows some infos, they're in italian but i guess it's easy to understand. When i launch the test app, it does the same: after 20-30 seconds the sceern blacks out.

The worst thing is there is no way to make it turn on again, other than forcing computer shutdown. ctrl-alt-del..."soft" shutdown....nothing. The screen is black. I have two disks in RAID, so having to force shutdown is very dangerous to me.

I have Vista 64..What to do ?

Is your refresh rate at 120Hz in regular 2D mode as well or just 3D? I ask because I found out the hard way that 120Hz display only works with the provided DVI cable. I had mine on a store bought DUAL LINK 10 foot long DVI cable and it still wouldn't display anything in 120Hz mode. I had to use the provided dual link cable for it to work, which sucks because it's so short (only about 5 feet long). I needed to rearrange my computer setup in order for it to reach from the back of the pc to the screen.

EDIT: nevermind...I just saw your included screenshot. you have it set to 120Hz in 2d

thank you. I was really exited and willing to test it too fast. I had driver 182.08 that was the reason.

Fallout3 awaits me SLURP
