I'm looking at the Laservue by Mitsubishi. There's the A91 and A94(new). I didn't find the closure I wanted in the past topics about this, or even on websites that actually sell these screens. Mitsu Support simply couldn't answer my questions, so they referred me here.
Short question if you want to skip my rambling below: Will 3D Vision work on a Laservue A91/A94?
I'm reading that NVIDIA 3D Vision requires between 85-120Hz or higher to work. Some of the websites selling Laservues confuse me. They'll either say 60Hz or other sites say 120Hz.
Also, sorry to ask this (seeing as how Mitsu won't even answer IT) Is it going to give me a 1920x1080 desktop that isn't 30hz? My current Samsung DLP gives 720 at 60Hz and is nice and clear, but if I set it to 1080 at 30Hz... it's so small...

Most if not all so-called 120Hz TVs can't actually take a 120hz signal, like the one output from your PC when using nvidia 3D.
They can only take upto a 60hz signal but then have extra electronics onboard that generates a fake intermediate frame to get 120hz.
IF I were you I'd be REALLY careful to make sure whatever TV you get will definately work with nvidia 3D BEFORE you spend so much money. I'm not even sure there is any TV right now that will do it.

Most if not all so-called 120Hz TVs can't actually take a 120hz signal, like the one output from your PC when using nvidia 3D.
They can only take upto a 60hz signal but then have extra electronics onboard that generates a fake intermediate frame to get 120hz.
IF I were you I'd be REALLY careful to make sure whatever TV you get will definately work with nvidia 3D BEFORE you spend so much money. I'm not even sure there is any TV right now that will do it.

Thanks, I'll bookmark that one. Although I'm a little saddened... I've seen the a91 firsthand, but have no idea of it's capabilities. I may even just get it for the sake of regular gaming, already super impressed with the old DLP I'm using right now (Samsung hlp 5674wx/xaa) but 3D on such a display would have made my day...
