Lots of people are pissed about this, and honestly I do not blame them. Pretty poor form on Nvidias part. It smacks of damage control after they released the 1080ti and realized it had better performance than the previous titan. I am happy with my new cards but kinda feel sorry for people who forked out a premium for the Original pascal titan. That said I am also getting pretty shitty performance in SLI with my 1080ti's even with the HB bridge. (in fact my 3d mark score is lower than with a standard bridge.) I'm thinking there may be some driver issues atm

I'm experiencing some interesting SLI issues as well with my 1080 ti's. Witcher 3 has a stutter about every 5-6 seconds when Geralt is running. Also, performance doesn't seem to be that much different with SLI enabled. In the same games, my previous SLI setup made a big difference. Hopefully it's drivers

That's interesting, witcher 3 is the one game, I am getting decent performance, in SLI but some games I used to play in surround like GW2 and Dirt rally are not working very well at all. =/

Well after the previous GPU line ups, it's pretty obvious that early release GPUs are gimped so that the the product line can be extended. With them releasing the Titan XP so soon after the 1080ti, it might perhaps be an indication that Volta is coming this year. For anyone interested, it seems that Nvidia upgaded to Cuda 8 last year for Pascal and future GPUs. https://devblogs.nvidia.com/parallelforall/cuda-8-features-revealed/

I dont care so much and I bought the Titan XP (original one).... The titan line is never a great value. But I wanted it for Deus Ex and I'm glad I got it 60 FPS @2560x1440 in 3D and witcher 3 at that resolution. I don't plan on ever buying a titan again. Calling it the name again is stupid... again.

You don't get a stutter in Witcher 3 while running or on horseback using the 3D fix? Are you using the fix or compatibility mode? Maybe having the game on a M2 NVME drive is the issue. Will troubleshoot it today.

No of course not. I am using the latest 3Dmigoto fix and with a crap ton of mods including texture packs to boot, it runs pretty flawlessly at 1440p at max detail. No stutter at all pretty steady average 60fps in 3dvision, However I am getting stutter in some other titles I was not before on two maxwell titans....

This information will be quite helpful. I'm actually trying to play at 2844x1600 with high settings for most and a couple set at medium while having the stutter issues and sub 60 fps outside of towns.

It's a stupid release. People were already calling the Pascal Titan X "Titan XP". This new one should have been the only Titan this generation. Besides, it has been almost a year since the 1070 and 1080 release. Shouldn't they be talking about Volta already? Pascal took a lot of time to appear (almost 2 years), but that doesn't mean generations have to take so long from now on.

Milking the cow .... i don't wonder they released a new Titan thats barely faster than 1080ti, its just because Titan needs to be the flagship, and Atleast for me it Was totally expected. Only thing i wonder why they call it TitanXP as the last Titan is wastly refered as the TitanXP allaround different forums. Fucking asses, why can't it just be Titan2017 , 2018 ect gtx001 gtx002, who cares if its media sexy or not.

The original Titan Pascal could have been like the new one. and SHOULD have been like the new one :( Nvidia uses the same way than Capcom (SF2, SF2', SF2 ultra..., DLC for new costumes...)

And here I am running 2x980Tis in SLI in 3D Surround;) No SLI issues, Witcher 3 runs at 45 FPS in 5760x1080 with our 3D Vision fix (that's 90 FPS in 2D... Oo) No stuttering in other games. (except some flickering introduces by some SLI bits in certain games, but is just finding the right "SLI" bits). I think SLI, like 3D Vision, is dying of lack of official SUPPORT from the creator (NVIDIA). At least if they would open-source the driver, we could do TONS of "Shit" to keep it up to date. But, I don't think Nvidia will take the "Linux" approach with this "niche" tech, which is really really sad...
