For people getting crashes at launch, and maybe for 8.1 users, here is something to try. Try going to your ShaderFixes folder, and delete everything out of it, the .txt and .bin files. Then add these .bin files back in. This is a complete set from the game, and if these are there, then 3Dmigoto will not need to compile the shaders. No idea if this will help, so please let us know if it does or does not help. http://sg.bo3b.net/DAI%20ShaderFixes.7z
Still crashes right as it opens on windows 8.1.

With 344.65 drivers on my windows 7 (with a clean no hd audio & geforce exp. install using DDU) I still get shaders not loading. On my windows 8.1 it still crashes with 344.65 using the same procedure as windows 7 (using the cached .bin shaderfixes too. with uncached .txt files it caches them and then crashes. for 1 second I see the nvidia info on bottom right saying 3d is not recommended for this game). My luck just sucks. Sigh.

At this point it really is down to the devs and nvidia. I plan on playing in SLI though, even if it's a bit stop-and-start. I am going to put one last update out today before christmas, that has a few extra shader fixes and a small wrapper bug fix. It may or may not make any difference...

I've read the majority of this thread, but I'm a little unclear on something.. is it possible to just get an SLI white fog fix (the "dungeon fog" as seen in the prologue)? Now that there's a walk toggle fix (community hack), think I'm going to go ahead and finally start playing this over the holiday break, even if in 2D. Thanks in advance. Edit-NM Didn't realize this is up on the main helix blog

Make sure you are not falling into the traps I did. 1. Make sure Origin overlay is off. (this breaks 3d) 2. Make sure you make the changes to the BF4 profile, (max performance, Shader cache off, pre rendered frames to 3)

While it is a bit frustrating is not something that breaks the game or immersion. Nothing we can do more at the moment:(
