I currently finish up the things..... I was not able to kill the FUCKING CLIPPING.....DMAN.....ITS gone using 30-40 % separation.............BUT THIS IS NOT THE GOAL........BUT may we have to live with it...........Ill create some versions here....YOU can decide what is best for you.....Lower Depth but 3D-Vision Ready, more depth but clipping, or CM by HELIFAX...... To Do List: --- for my selfe --- ignore the bad english i know what to do ^^ [s]//need solution while aiming[/s] [s]//test more depth via convergence and low step for get rid of clipping[/s] -- not fixable [s]//if it works, may make a tool for write protect[/s] [s]//make a tool for fulldepth, 40 depth and CM heli[/s] [s]//test more FOV[/s] [s]//make different depth presets[/s] [s]//implement fix for regex (lights/shadows)[/s] [s]//implement for all fixed deoth the light fix is created[/s] ITS DONE .... I THINK ........
Meanwhile i found this mod which has a 3D top/bottom option. https://www.nexusmods.com/metroexodus/mods/11?tab=description i didn't even know it was possible with reshade, any idea how it's working ? the result is not bad ! will use this while the 3d vision fix isn't finished yet
I see almost no depth at all with this. Do you?

user.cfg
r_blur_level 0
r_game_mblur_scale 0.

and in the PS:
b1c09e97b07d94d2-ps_replace.txt

r9.w = 1;
//kill blure
//r9.xyzw = r9.xyzw * r5.wwww;

Losti -- or anyone -- I made the .cfg changes, but I don't know what the changes below it refer to. What file are those edits for?

Just ignore the changes below its in a shader file and allready done. But its outdated. I suggest just to wait "a little bit" more for ta propper fix.

One thing though--you said to play on "High" settings ... I'm running this in SBS on my Oculus Rift and anything higher than "Low" just tanks my frame rate on the headset ... Is it alright if I run your fix on low?

I already have HAIR WORKS disabled anyway. Looking forward to the next version of your fix! One strange thing about playing this game in 3D ... If I increase the FOV in the .cfg I actually get a much better frame rate ... you'd think it would be the opposite.

You take care of what you have to take care of, Losti. We appreciate all the work you've put in already. We can wait however long it takes.

I just don’t want let you stepping in the dark about this one here. I have tried some approaches to fix this completely but I was not able to. I will release the things as they are tomorrow, in case I don’t have to work longer than expected. More on this tomorrow and what you have to live with the fix comes with....BUT ITS OK .... I think....not perfect...*GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE* .... and hopefully working for the rest of the game not only for the starting area but I have all things fixed by RegEx and tested the graphical settings and all things was catched in dependency...... Cheers...

I understand your frustration, Losti, but your work is not in vain. I and I'm sure many others have already benefited from it. I will use your fix and enjoy it even if it isn't perfect. I could not play Metro Exodus now without it. So please know that your work here is valued. EDIT: I have sent you a small donation in appreciation for your time and effort.
