I don't know what you guys are on about, leaving TriSLI enabled didn't cause any problems for me. Nonetheless I think the result is pretty poor. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a step in the right direction so kudos for that to Cyberlink, but it's definitely just one of many steps still to be taken.

yea to me it just doesnt give me that look of change.
Its different for everyone though, some people may be able to see more of a 3d effect than others , this is probably because there brain and eyes can handle the 3d trickery better.
I think its a good thing cyberlink have added dvd 3d upconvert support , it can only get better from now on.
I just cant wait for proper blu-ray 3d :) AVATR :) only downside is the £40 price tage per 3d blu-ray that is expected.

Yeah, it's quite ridiculous. Vista seemed to have the least of issues with 3D Vision and yet to use 3D Vision w/ PowerDVD you can only use Win7. LOL. *sigh*
I tell ya, after going to see the 3D demo at Best Buy, I'm half tempted to ditch 3D Vision asap and just go with one of those "kits". Won't have to deal with this random compatibility.
Why would it be 7 only? 3D Vision requirements supports Vista, yet they decide to only support half of that userbase instantly by only supporting Win7.

There aren't many out now, but Samsung has a starter kit you can check out and comes with Monsters vs Aliens Blu-Ray 3D and 2 glasses. In due time there'll be many more. When I say "asap" I mean when there is a more all-in-one out of the box solution, I'm done with 3D Vision.

Note: to ensure optimum playback performance for TrueTheater technologies, please update your graphics drivers to the latest versions. For TrueTheater 3D, NVIDIA 3D Vision users will need to download both the 196.34 beta VGA driver (or above) and the 196.21 WHQL 3D Vision driver. See Hardware Support for more details.
wonder if this will solve the issue of 3d not working as good as we expect it to.
do I have to set some preferences. all my dvds come out like someone took the 2d screen and twisted it into the screen a few degrees. everythign on the left of the screen is in the screen and everythign on the right is out the screen.
Same for me. /confused.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I upgraded to the new version over the weekend and did some testing, and so far all it seems to do for the most part is make my screen look distorted/twisted. Doesn't add any believable depth to most scenes. It's a neat prospect and a great first step, but at this point I can't imagine watching a whole movie this way. Maybe if there were in-application controls for convergence and depth to manually tweak the offset and balance it might be more practical, but until then I'm sticking with 2d DVDs.
That said, however, the HD Theatre CUDA functions are amazing! With a few adjustments I had my DVDs looking so good I'd swear I was watching a Blu-Ray.

Maybe total media theater 3d option will be more vista friendly ? Anyone heard when that is supposed to be out?
