Still no Stereoscopic 3D option after a million tries.. please help!!
Hi - I installed windows 7 and various versions to latest Nvidia 310.90 driver on my laptop with Quadro 2000M ... Everything seems fine but the Stereoscopic 3D option is missing in the NVIDIA Control Panel. I checked the NVIDIA Coporation/3D Vision folder and its empty ... there is no Enable 3D or Disable 3D options like what you normally would have. (With the same laptop running Windows 8 (installed in a different drive) with the latest Nvidia driver, the Stereoscopic 3D option shows up in the Nvidia Control Panel.. so I don't understand why its not showing up in windows 7) Does anyone know why this is or how can I install the 3d vision drivers for it?? Thanks! Any help would be much appreciated!

Perhaps your GPU is not properly recognized in windows 7? Is there integrated graphics on the motherboard? If so maybe it needs disable on the W7 drive? Is there an integrated emitter in the laptop? If so, maybe uninstall and reinstall it? works on external emitters When installing the driver, there a box that needs to be checked for 3D Vision to be installed, also it's a good idea to do a clean install. That box wasn't perhaps unchecked? Sorry, I haven't had any experience with Quadro drivers or laptops.

Have you compared the device manager listings for the GPU, CPU and Display under each OS?

I think the problem is... Nvidia Optimus Technology and 3D Vision Don’t Go Well Together http://3dvision-blog.com/5532-nvidia-optimus-technology-and-3d-vision-dont-go-well-together/ But I don't understand how it was working in windows 8 before I update nvidia driver to the latest :(

Figured it out!!! To make Stereoscopic 3D appear in Nvidia Control and work.. you have to set your 3DTV as the PRIMARY display!!

I think the reason is that in laptops that are using optimus technology all of ( mointors & external plugs (ports)) are connected directly to the intel GPU not to the Nvidia GPU so yo can't use 3d vision ..... ther is no any port connected to the nvidia GPU and no reply from nvidia forums ..!!! stupid technology ........ if you have windows 7 use iz3D it is good

Are you sure your laptop has integrated emitter / you have connected an emitter that comes with a 3D vision kit to your laptop via a USB port? For me, at times, the 3D tab will not appear unless I have one of these installed.

Hi, Did you ever resolve the issue? I also had a similar problem with my Quadro fx 880M drivers. My only solution was to install 307.45 driver. Anything past that driver version my 3D ready projector (DLP Link) would not display stereoscopic content properly. I'm yet to find a solution for the newer drivers. With the newer drivers I see there's an option in windows display settings in the control panel that says enable 3D but it doesn't seem to enable the right 3D settings for my projector.

Have you reported it in the driver bug threads at all? Be sure to list your system specs and OS.
