"Search" function here on the forum doesn't seem to be working for me, so forgive me if this has already been discussed:
After a couple of months away from Red Faction Guerrilla, I was forced to do an update by good old Windows Live, so I can get back my game saves <a different rant>. Well, after wrestling through that fiasco, now I find that I'm unable to get the game to run in fullscreen mode - hence NO 3D!
I can set 'Windowed" from TRUE to FALSE in the menus but it switches right back after "Accepting" and only goes into fullscreen mode for a split second, then bounces back out. Same thing with <Alt>+<Enter>. Anyone else seeing this or have found a way around it? Aaargh! I'm still using 1.20 drivers but can't imagine any effect of that.

My humble homebrewed sys:
3.40 GHz Intel Core i5-3570K ; ASUSTeK SABERTOOTH Z77 MB ; 8GB DDR3 ; EVGA GeForce GTX 560 2GB GDDR5 ; 2x2TB SATA HD ; Win7 64 Home
This problem was caused by screenshot software which I had recently installed. Somehow, it created a conflict with the Red Faction game screen windowing. Disabling the utility through the Windows 7 taskbar completely solved the problem.
Whew, close call. Thanks for reading and perhaps scratching your heads, too. :">
