I've tried every player after 1.5.5a and none work. I open my 3d video and the player just remains at a blank black screen. The full viewing time of the movie is displayed in the bottom corner and that's it.
The only version which has successfully played my videos is the old 1.5.5a
Any ideas why the later version doesn't work?

Hey thanks for the reply.
I was able to fix it.
For some reason I had 2 versions installed. I uninstalled them both and then re-installed the latest 1.7.5 and it worked!
Wow ... I had all but given up on this, I had installed codecs, installed 'Stereoscopic Player' using the key from the NVIDIA one, everything ever suggested ... absolutely nothing worked. So I looked and I also had 2 versions installed, 1.6.4 & 1.7.2. for some reason for 1.6.4 wouldn't uninstall until after I uninstalled 1.7.2 ... I just uninstalled both and now Stereoscopic Player works perfectly fine. Thanks. :)
Has it been updated at all since 2 years ago? Any improvements? Fullscreen?
It didn't have full screen before?!? It certainly does now
By the way, above people are talking about 1.7.2 but with the latest driver update I've now got 1.7.5
Last time I tried to play an MKV through the NVidia player I couldn't find any option to change the language audio, trying to play a copy of TRON 2 in 3D but with German default language made it impossible to watch.
I then decided just to go with Power DVD instead as it has the option to do this. I don't know if more recent versions of the NVidia player have added the option to switch audio languages, if not its a poor situation.

Nope, it didn't have fullscreen before. It has improved since the last time I tried it but it is still way behind. It has no support for non-admin accounts. I had to create a .vbs in order to install it successfully.
SView was updated in January. Right now, that is the best free 3D player and it is better than the version before it. Only problem I have with it is that it doesn't ask for admin password automatically. You have to right click and tell it to or it won't be able to install the reg keys. Other than that, perfect so far. No extra bloat to install. I do wish volume settings were in the normal location though.
