Thanks for finding the video eitan, though I tried it and it doesn't work. Niether does messing with the Vsync. In fact most of the options don't seem to have too much of an impact on framerate. I get 100-120 in 2D and 29-35 in 3D and can't seem to change it. I tried leaving 3d off and using CTRL T in game but that doesn't work.

The "out of memory" issue has disapeared for most of us, but normally we fixed it simply by diabling 3D on the emitter before the sirens start, and enable on the emitter again in game !

Hi all, I just built a new computer with an 8700k and 1080 Ti, coming from i7 4930k and 1080 Ti on Win 7, I was eager to test the CPU out as it's alleviated all of my CPU bottlenecks in other games and we all know about this game's 3 Core bug, well 3D Vision just doesn't want to work correctly. It either looks like it's not on at all, (Fullscreen, 3D Vison on in game) so I exited the game and checked NVCP and the convergence was turned all the way down, so I figured the game was adjusting that so I fired the game back up and tried turning convergence up in game and it just completely fucked the shaders, no shadows were aligning with objects at all. This game has become a buggy piece of shit. Not only this but before trying 3D Vision, G-Sync refused to work (yes Fullscreen). 388.59, clean installed.

Update: Well good news and meh news. Good news is that my FPS was 52 looking out over Franklin's balcony at downtown Los Santos. Bad news is that although I could technically get 3D Vision to somewhat resemble 3D by turning up convergence in game all the way to max it still looked mostly flat, as though I was running the game in compatibility mode (I'm not and it's rated as "excellent" without a fix). From 30 to 52 FPS holy crap. That's insane. The 8700k in question was delidded and is doing 5.1 GHz (AVX offset of 1 making for 5.0 GHz in games / apps with high AVX instruction set). 420 and 360 rad makes for temps that don't exceed 45C in game and 65C during Prime95 torture test over an hour, and that's with voltage at around 1.425. Love this processor. If you haven't upgraded in a while, this proc, DESTROYS 3-Core bottlenecks and any other bottleneck you can think of. Zelda Breath of the Wild on CEMU (2D) FPS at Dueling Peaks Stable went from 23 to 40 FPS. It's mind boggling. CPU I came from wasn't a slouch either: https://www.3dmark.com/fs/14444952 https://www.3dmark.com/fs/13329127 Big fights in Planetside 2, 48+/48+, the FPS would dip all the way down to 40 FPS before, now they dip down to 60 FPS, again 50% gain. X-Com 2 in 3D Vision I was seeing 75-80% GPU utilization in the ship menu part of the game (40 FPS?) and now it's 99% utilization and 50+ FPS (GPU limited, second 1080 Ti is planned, but Nice Hash getting hacked and me losing $237 put's that day a few months further out). LOVE this processor.

Quick question. I have been trying to use the SBS fix so I can play in 1080 but I get the blue colour bug when I use it. Colour is fine when I use normal full screen setting but I am limited to 720. Anybody been able to solve this?

Try Cycle Frustrum (ctrl+F11), but beware it will stretch the image. Better option is using an EDID override if possible for your display and play at 1080p without SBS. Blue color bug will be fixed with this, but if you change GTA's graphic settings, bug will reappear and you'll need to restart the game. Last option is playing in 720p with using GTA's own downscaling for better visuals. Third party option is using Tridef, start the game with Tridef and disable Tridef's 3D. Tridef will prevent blue color bug.

Thanks! I will give them a try. It worked on my old windows 7 rig but this one turns blue. Thanks again foe the ideas. None of mine were working. Tridef I need to purchase again. Had it on the old rig it works good with some games. Cheers! Edit Cycle Frustrum worked for me. Haven't noticed to much distortion it looks pretty good. Never thought of that so thanks.

I'm sure this has already been answered, but I got sick of reading through the 91 pages. From what I've read, GTA 5 works in stereoscopic 3d with NVidia surround out of the box without any mods? Does the same go for GTA 5 Online? If so, Bravo Rockstar!!!
