I updated the 3DvisionFix to v1.2: - converted all modified shaders to VS_3_0/PS_3_0 for better performance (didn't make a difference at all) bo3b and eqzitara invited me to post the fix on the Helixmod-blog. Big thank you. It is an honor for me. So here it is: http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2017/08/fallout-3.html

I finally found the time to dive into this time consuming and wonderfull game :) But... the water is broken for me :/ I made a fresh install (1.7.03 GOG) totally clean of mods, but it's still broken... Anyone with the game, please check it out, my driver is 387.92 and I don't have issues with other games !

Hm, can I ask you for a savegame? Maybe there is just another water-shader I didn't fix. But it could be still something wrong with the Nvidia-Stereo-Profile. Strange, I didn't had problems with 387.92. EDIT: Sorry, there must be something wrong on your side. It looks good for me. :/ Did you install the fix correctly? Does the green Stereo-Memo on the bottom right say "Fallout 3" "excellent" if you enable it (Ctrl+Alt+Insert)?

Well... Thanks for checking it out Flint :) Thats nice to know, so it's just a matter of finding the culprit here ! Sure it's installed correctly, and it did work earlier, I just wanted a completely fresh start and reinstalled it !

Finally - Why didn't I think of it before ! After uninstalling / installing the game, the fix and the driver, the water was still broken... Suddenly it came to my mind that even a fresh game install might not refresh every thing, and yes deleting the ini file in Documents/my games, which forces the game to make a new one, did the trick !! Oh yes, now it looks like it should. :) Do you have a special mod for that blue water and the vivid colors?

Sure, thats one of the many great aspects about Bethesda's games, you can make a completely fresh game with the many wonderfull mods, I allways use 100-200 mods in any Bethesda game ! But OFC it's your fix that makes it worth it :) Basicly the 3 responsible mods here is: Fallout 3 redesigned: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/6341 Fellout: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/2672 PureWater: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/2599

3DvisionFix v1.3: Small update to the fix in the first post. Finally I understood how to activate presets with textures. So it is now much better in the Pip-boy, when navigating around (repairing a weapon for example). And I disabled the dynamic crosshair now for menus, as there where UI-Parts destroyed in this center-area. You still should avoid to press ESC for the main-menu while VATS or PIP-boy is active. This messes up the correct Preset-Setting and with it the dynamic-crosshair. But with a short press on RMB you can get the dynamic-crosshair back. It seems to be a limitation/bug in helixmod. For example setting Preset2 (Pip-boy) and then reset to Preset6 (standard view) works good. But setting Preset2 (Pip-boy) then set Preset5 (enter main-menu) and then leave menu and Pip-boy to standard-view (Preset6) doesn't work correctly, as the constants are not set correctly. Sorry that it took so much time. But in february my wife gave me a lovely little son :D :D :D , so now I'm father of two really beautiful kids :) :) :). That means there is not much time for computer-gaming ;) .

Just an update, maybee to inspire others to try it out(again)! I've installed 200 mods, and it shurely doesn't look like a 10 year old game ! The lighting overhauls is very important, and OFC just fill in every texture pack available! I'ts fairly stable, freezes every second hour or so, not a big deal :) I haven't played the DLC's before, well except Broken steel, so the Goty version has alot of new content! The game really looks and plays amazing, THANKS again Flint !!
