Noob Post: HDMI or VGA to connect acer 5750G to acer h5360 (for 3d Vision)
Hello All!

I know that this is a really newbie question but here is the problem, please help :)

I have an acer 5750G notebook, it has a VGA and a HDMI video outs on an Nvidia 540G card

I also have a 3d Vision ready projector acer h5360 and a 3d Vision kit.

I connect the projector using VGA to VGA & HDMI to HDMI cable and in the NVIDIA controll center it is recognized properly

I install the latest drivers from nvidia.com (171mb 275.something version, pack that includes video card drivers & 3d vision drivers)

Then I do everything according to the user manual http://www.nvidia.com/content/3dvision/docs/3D_Vision_Install_Guide_Dec16_Screen.pdf
and get stuck at step 8 (no 3d vision setup wizard comes up ;() but the install wizard shows all the components installed fine

What can I do to solve it?

P.S. NVIDIA 3D Vision PowerPack - Batman Arkham Asylum.exe doesn't want to install saying that there is no proper driver on my PC

I'm getting crossed up on your wizards... you're saying the setup wizard isn't showing up? OK, that's an easy one. Right click on your desktop and select the NVIDIA control panel. Select the Stereoscopic 3D portion and pick "Set up stereoscopic 3D". On the bottom portion of the right panel there should be a drop down saying "Test stereoscopic 3D...". Click the down arrow next to that and you'll see an option to run the setup wizard. Do that and the wizard should start up.

When you installed the drivers, did you pick "custom install" and make sure all the 3D options were checked?

Is 3d enabled in the menu of the H5360?

You don't need both the hdmi and vga connected. Just connect the hdmi.
