Yeah, I had this game from Steam and I never played it. I paid like $5 for it I think. It was just frustrating at that time. But I reinstalled it, and now it supports the 360 controller, it is so much more fun now. Not to mention how mind blowing it is in full 3D. I just can't believe it. I spent 4 hours playing last night, just taking my sweet time, no hurry at all.
The leter levels get more and more spectacular...
The graphics on this game make me want to replay it over and over.
Tried the demo of Trine and found the 3D experience not so great, because the crosshair was in 2d and some other effects as well.
Perhaps the demo is different from the actual game. Can anybody confirm this please?
I doubt the demo has been patched, but the full game is perfect (a patch was released a few months ago to fix the 3D issues)

But the game has been patched with 3D Vision in mind. It is now flawless in S3D. FLAWLESS as in perfect. Crosshair, lights, background, everything. It looks like a fairy tale. :)

Indeed. I tried the demo, and there are problems. I saw in patch notes that it was fixed... and oh man... were they fixed! I have NEVER seen a game that looks this stunning in 3d. And not just stunning, but totally playable. I mean... the environments without the glasses look stunning, but with the convergence turned up (as mentioned above... characters at screen depth) and the depth turned down maybe halfway... OMG. I've never seen anything like it. The word "breathtaking" doesn't do it justice. If you have the glasses... you MUST buy this game. Not only that... but it's lots of fun... especially with multiple players. I have 2 pairs of glasses, and played it in 3D with a friend. we both kept dying because we were just sitting and starring at the scenery. The second level... with the caverns that have the waterfalls and the giant black crystals... they jut out of the screen as you run by. If there was a "showcase" game for the glasses... this would be it hands down.
Oh.. and the new beta stereo drivers have Trine as "3D Vision Enabled". I hope they do the same with Trine 2. I will buy it the second it comes out!
