Are the 3D Vision glasses susceptible to damage if allowed to freeze (temperature-wise)?
I'm ready to purchase the 3D Vision glasses. I often purchase items online and once delivered the items usually sit outside my house until I arrive home from work. Being mid-February the temperature is steadily below freezing.

There are specific operating temperatures for our glasses. I would suggest you request it be delivered with a signature so you can ensure its picked up.

Agreed why take any chances. require a signature and they wont leave it. You may have to pick it up, but I would rather do that than take the risk of damaging a brand new product.

Andrew mentioned "specific operating temperatures", but you are talking about getting them delivered and not using them in extreme cold conditions, meaning getting the glasses in nonoperational condition. This should in general not be a problem for the glasses, but could get you into an issue with the rechargeable battery. If its charge is almost depleted and left long enough in minus temperature it can "die", meaning that it won't start to charge when you plug it in the USB, so you'll have to "jumpstart" it. Had seen some issues with the glasses being stored in very cold warehouses for a few weeks that later had issues with batteries not willing to start charging when sold to customers...

To clarify, I mean to say that the product, while still in its delivery package, would be delivered to my porch and sit outside, dry but cold until I arrive home... which usually it sits outside for about 3 hours.
I ask this question, because it being a shutter technology, I thought possibly there might be crystals inside that do the work that could be damaged if allowed to freeze... sort of like freeze damage to an liquid crystal display (LCD).
I think I have decided to wait until the early spring before purchasing them.

I've left my cellphone in my car many times in the freezing cold, and the worst that has happened was having to wait for the screen to warm back up (it would just be really slow to refresh until then). I don't think you should have to go so far as to wait until spring, just let them sit in your warm house for a couple hours and they should be fine, just like a cellphone or anything else LCD. I think to actually cause permanent damage just by freezing (without operating it) it would have to be severely cold such as -20 or something.

Haven't you got a neighbour they could be delivered to? Work address perhaps? Generally though i've found with laptops left in car boots at work, they've had to leave it in the classroom and let it get to room temperature before powering up.
