3D Monitor not recognized of 3D TV Play and working with other EDID but buggy 3D
Hi, i tried to get my 3d monitor working with 3D TV Play for a long time. The problem ist, that if i use the monitor with the normal drivers, the 3D TV Play isn't working and instead of the logo in the nvidia control panel it says i have to get NVIDIA 3D TV Play. On the other hand if i use a driver with another EDID, 3D TV Play is working and i can play in 3D. Only problem is, that the 3D Picture is buggy. On both eyes either the left or the right, I have a double picture. So i have the picture of say a candle and on the left eye a little bit left of the candle i have the candle again and on the right eye a little bit right. It's like the picture of the right eye is also displayed on the left one and otherwise. If i use the stereoscopic 3D Test with my normal driver it's working fine, but Play isn't working. Therefore the buggy 3D picture must have to do with the changed EDID. I have a LG DM2350D polarisation 3D Monitor. And the EDID is one of Acer HR274H. How do i get Play to recognize my Monitor? Or how do i het an EDID that's working with good 3D?

It's unavoidable with any 3d monitor, but particularly noticeable with polarised 3d. You may find this is as good as it gets.

The crosstalk is almost invisible when i use the nornmal driver with 3D, therefore it works fine. But 3D TV Play is not working. With the working driver the "crosstalk" is no crosstalk, but the image of both eyes is displayed in both eyes. I think it has to do how the graphics card sends the data to the monitor. In short. 3D working fine with normal driver (but no NVIDIA Play), and buggy 3D with Acer driver (but NVIDIA Play works).

I guess you could always try different EDIDs. http://3dvision-blog.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2026

Because both of them didn't solve my problem i gave it up and searched the web and finally posted here. But i'll try it again anyways, maybe i'm lucky. EDIT: I just created my own .inf with MonInfo and now Play is working, 3D seems to be working too. I'am happy now. Thread could be closed.

Mind sharing that EDID on that forum thread? Might help someone else get it working. :)
