PC Monitor connection Qestion HDMI OR Duel-Link DVI
i heard from somewhere that i have to use Duel link Dvi to connect desktop to monitor
my monitor is Acer 235HZ, it support HDMI input. can i do with HDMI-DVI or it doesnt work without dvi-dvi?

the quality of DVI is the same as HDMI, but HDMI can send audio as well as video, so it is used for blu ray players and the like connecting to tele's with built in speakers.


if the monitor has a DVI port and a HDMI port it will accept either signal. the adapter should work no problems.

as far as I thought you need a dual dvi to use this tech. the hdmi would only give you 60hz. is there a dual dvi to hdmi adaptor on the market?

i missed that its for 3D vision, many appolagies. msm903 is correct, use the DVI cable to utilise the full capabilities of this monitor.

if you wish to plug the monitor into another device such as a games console or blu ray player, HDMI is good enough.
