Error when running wizard
i just got my Asus 23" 120hz monitor today with the nvidia 3d vision

there was no driver disk in box so i downloaded NVIDIA_3D_Vision_CD_v1.33_WinVista_Win7_English pakage anbd installed after uninstalling my graphic drivers as stated in book that came with 3d vision

during installltion of the wizard i get this error message
[u]error in stereo driver, nvapi stereo is activated() returned 0 after stereo was enabled by default with settings->setdefaultstartupmode(true)[/u]

any help would be appreciated

Make sure you have only the 3d monitor attached and set to 120 ha refresh when you run the wizard. This seems to fix it for most people. Once stereo is enabled you cn plug other monitors back in.

If that doesn't work, the work around I used to use was to kill the process from task manager when the error is up. For me at least that leaves stereo enabled.

what do you mean by only have the monitor attached?

and i have it set to 120hz



the box that comes up with the error message allows me to close it...i can carry on running through wizard and i see the slide show at the end in 3d (very good)...can i be confident that everything is set up properly...as when i run wizard again same message comes up

what do you mean by only have the monitor attached?
and i have it set to 120hz

the box that comes up with the error message allows me to close it...i can carry on running through wizard and i see the slide show at the end in 3d (very good)...can i be confident that everything is set up properly...as when i run wizard again same message comes up

If you have a second none 3d monitor make sure it isn't connected when you run the wizard.
If you can run the test everything is fine.

ive just played fallout 3 and i must say it really does add a new dimension to the game.......its well worth it as far as im concerned :)

hello guys. i have for gpu the GTX 460. i just bought the LG d2342p and i try to set up the stereoscpic 3d. I have to add that i am using windows 8 dev preview... the tridef software works just fine. i have conected the pc with the screen with an HDMI 1.4 and a adapter to mini HDMI (Wich i am not sure its 1.4...) when i try to enable the stereoscopik driver, i open the wizard and when i press next, it crashes with the above error... any ideas??
