Funny enough in 3D Surround I need to use 20% Separation and 100% Convergence/Pop-out. Otherwise the image completely SPLITS. Thanks DHR, I'll try that one out;)

been experimenting with editing the registry files for pop out effect. 100@ in game is 350 in the registry. i set pop out to 2000 and it elimated a lot of the weird ghosting i was having. i cant tell if its actually gicing greater convergence though. but it DEFINTIELY is doing something. makes everything look much clearer regardless of how much depth i give it edit: hmm i think its actually making the depth go to 0 thats why the image is easier on the eyes...oh well lol

I cannot get 3d to work. I enable it (side by side) is the only option. However when it launches all I have is a side by side image. NO 3D. Is it because I have an 3D Vision only monitor (Viewsonic VS12538) or is there something else I should do?

It was like that in Tomb Raider.

I found the problem. If I do not turn on Exclusive Fullscreen the only 3d Option is Off and SBS. Once I turned on Exclusive Fullscreen I could select from Off, SBS, and ON.

Another issue I have in 3d mode is that the in game UI is shifted closer to the middle of the screen cluttering my view. For example the Radar is about an inch or two lower and the number menu is an inch or two higher. Along with being 2d the GUI shift makes the screen very cluttered and ruins the 3d experience. When I turn 3d mode off the GUI elements revert back towards the edges of the screen. UPDATE: The issue with the HUD elements is not caused by 3d mode, but by exclusive fullscreen mode. If I turn off exclusive full screen the HUD elements revert back to the edges of the screen.

That is called HUD centering and it works perfectly fine and just as expected. You can actually see it a lot better in Surround or Eyefinity. Just that it happens you don't like it, is a different and irrelevant matter ^_^ Yes, 3D Vision works only in Fullscreen (proper, not the so-called Fullscreen or Borderless Fullscreen which is actually Window Mode without a frame) under directX 11. This has been like these for YEARS. This is like what the 5-6th game ported by Nixxes with the exact same behavior for 3D Vision?:) The thing with the HUD, again you are confusing technologies and how things should works. I do agree with you that if you run a single 21:9 screen the hud shouldn't be centered on 16:9 aspect ration. But this is an AMD sponsored game so I guess they care more about Eyefinity;)

Not only is the HUD messed up the Aspect ratio is stretched poorly just by turning on Exclusive Fullscreen (3d is off). I am gaming on a 16:10 monitor running its native res of 1680x1050. Example 1680x1050 Exclusive fullscreen Off 3d Off http://imgur.com/a/oikz7 1680x1050 Exclusive fullscreen On 3d Off http://imgur.com/a/VkWtc When you compare the photos see the HUD is shrunk towards the center while the image is stretched horizontally. It is really obvious on the scope.

I think Nvidia should just give up even bothering to rate games for 3dvision. Sometimes I wonder if they even try. I have seen them rate near 3dvision ready games (POE) as "fair" or "not recommended" and stuff that doesn't even work as "good" Looks like I will be picking this game up after all, thanks Nixxes.

That's good news. Lots of people on the Steam reviews are reporting performance issues, mouse acceleration issues, microtransactions that only apply on a per-profile basis (seriously?), crashes, etc. Only 64% positive right now, which makes me want to hold off.

There are couple of settings which kill the performance though. Msaa, higher than usual fps hit. Volumetric Lighting and contact hardening shadow both on ultra values are VERY resource heavy. Leave them "on" instead of ultra. After those tweaks it runs very well. If they had removed current ultra and Very high graphics and instead put the current high to "ultra" ppl would be like "dam dis be a gud port i can run ultra on 970"

And it seems devs are listening the "trolls" carefully: http://forums.eu.square-enix.com/showthread.php?t=190793&p=2221410 Optimisation is rather poor in this game at its actual state, and I can't run the game comfortably at max settings with a SLI 980ti (recommended GPU is a...GTX970). Turning off MSAA is a no-way since the game is pretty ugly and aliased without a proper AA (However I turned off some options like Soft Shadows). And I'm not talking about 3D mode, but 2D 1080p...I've turned off 3D because the framerate is definetely not playable for an FPS unless you decrease most of the graphic options. Seriously, I play Witcher 3 in 3D at max setting and I can't play DE decently which is, let's be honest, not hyper eye-candy? This game is currently not well optimized, it was my conclusion after 2mn of gameplay. But is it not the norm in PC gaming nowadays?
