Powerdvd / Blu-Ray Support
Dear NVidia,

After spending countless hours screwing around with drivers and different versions of Powerdvd I have to say I am sick to death of the poor support for such a basic part of the package. I spent a lot of money putting together my Acer H5360 / Blu Ray Drive / 3D Vision setup and only on the rarest of occasions have I managed to watch a single Blu Ray film in 3D. It works fine for games and even Youtube content, just not for watching movies.

It loads up the movie fine, then when I switch to 3D and full screen it goes black whilst the sound continues to play in the background.

This is absolutely maddening and the problem has been going on since April last year.

Please please please fix this. I am using the latest Beta drivers, Windows 7 64-bit, 8gb Ram, SSD, I5-2500k.

Chris

I think this is a PowerDVD issue, not an issue with 3D vision--I've gotten it to work by installing AnyDVD HD and then stuff started playing just fine with PowerDVD

I had a similar issue (I use PowerDVD 10), but when I patched up PowerDVD with the latest update on Cyberlink's website it works just fine now. I find that I need to periodically check Cyberlink for updates as they seem to have 1 or 2 per year.

Hey, hey, hey, hey-now. Don't be mean; we don't have to be mean, cuz, remember, no matter where you go, there you are.

Mine works fine after installing the latest beta driver but always get bsod if anydvd is installed! The nvidia driver is the reason for the bsod! I had a black screen too before upgrading to the latest driver.

It's a bit iffy, I tried Transformers 3 and it wouldn't work on PowerDVD anymore, tried updating too--worked in Totalmedia though
