Hello,
Recently I bought the BenQ XL2720Z which I believe to be a monitor that is 3D-ready AND has a built-in IR emitter (please correct me if i'm wrong).
I am having problems getting the monitor to recognize the 3D Vision 2 Glasses. I did not buy the kit because I assumed I wouldn't need the emitter if the monitor already has one.
I have tried a couple of things that worked for other BenQ 3D monitors such as disabling the power and disabling connections to other monitors, but nothing seems to work. The glasses turn on but the monitor shows no sign of recognition. There is a small notification area on the bottom-right of the monitor that looks to light up when the emitter is picking up a signal, but nothing happens when I try to connect the glasses. Do I have to enable the emitter manually?
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks.

Yea after a bit of research I did learn this myself earlier. Maybe it's just me but BenQ seem really mis-leading. They use the same manual for a lot of monitors, some having 3D emitters and others not. Thanks anyway.

Yes, it is very misleading. Especially given the fact that upon switching to 3D mode, a green light near the power button on the front of the BENQ XL2720Z turns on with the exact same color and intensity as the NVIDIA 3DVision emitter.
