I'm friends with the programmer, and have looked at a build from a few months ago. It was looking pretty good then. A few broken shaders, but nothing too major. I just bought it, and I'm going to try to make a fix using DarkStarSword's tools. I can't give an ETA though, I plan to finish my DG2 fix first.
EDIT: Just took a look at the final release. It's looking pretty good, you could definitely play it without a fix. The broken effects are fairly minor (at least up to the point I've reached), mostly a couple broken lighting effects, and minor halos under certain conditions.

Update - I was under the impression that DarkStarSword's tools for fixing Unity shaders work for DX11 shaders, but I was mistaken. I'm not able to work on DX11 shaders without assistance, but hopefully someone else is able to take a look. It's definitely playable as-is though.

The store page is showing Dx9 support. Try this:
-Make a shortcut for the game's exe file.
-Right click the newly created shortcut & click on Properties.
-In the "Target" field, add -force-d3d9 at the end. For example: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Ori And The Blind Forest\ori.exe" -force-d3d9
-Click Ok
-Run the game using the custom shortcut.

I just gave that a try, but it looks like there's at least a few things that break because of that change - most importantly the onscreen text becomes pink blocks.

The game looks amazing as is, it's almost perfect. Some of the shading is slightly off, and as Pirateguybrush said there are slight halos. disabling the motion blur and setting the convergence so that the main character is at screen depth gets rid of most of the glitches. I have depth set to maximum, actually about 175% of the max since i edited my registry keys :)
I also disabled vsync. Even though the game would run at a constant 60fps with it enabled, it felt a little sluggish. It runs at at least 200fps or higher on my 780 so i don't notice any tearing on my projector, and eveything seems snappier.
I've played through the first 3 areas (about three hours) and haven't noticed any other issues. This game looks absolutely stunning!

I just tried it and while its not on the level of Trine 2 in stereo 3D quality, gameplay compensates it tenfold. Its a rare masterpiece that has its own soul. Especially loved the music. 3D makes it like theater decorations which adds alot to experience. Definite must have for all 3D vision gamers.

Am I missing something? I can't seem to get the game to start in 3D at all.
(Seems like I was, game seems to need to be run once before you can turn 3d on.)

Here is a little WIP of this game (Play 20 minutes), very nice game!!!!....all issues i see are from some kind of haloing effect. In the WIP there are 3 VS fixed....the fixing code is the same.....so if anyone want to continue fixing this game, just grab the zip and start hunting :) Probably next weekend i will play more.
I fix the Haloing Effect from the main menu (some kind of fog), and 2 lights effect. I'm 100% sure there will be more shader to fix in other stages.
I use the 3Dmigoto x32 .48 version....works perfect. Hunting is enabled.

Awesome! I can't stop playing this beautiful game with a very nice gameplay (much more than Trine that I didn't play more than 10mn)
Thanks for this DHR, I'm having some annoying slowdowns as described here http://steamcommunity.com/app/261570/discussions/0/617330227196019919/ , so I'm going to wait until it gets fixed, it really looks promising though.
