I want to have a helmet 3d - video with a gyroscope
I want to have a helmet 3d - stereovideo with a gyroscope, for full immersing in virtualspace-game.
When it will be possible? And as the helmet and a video card should function in a rigid sheaf (Headtracking),
I ask: whether such workings out in your company Are conducted?

All who would like to get such device in the future,
I suggest to hold a theme hot
that nVidia has become interested in manufacture of stereovideo-helmet with Headtracking.

---------------
It appears, such helmets already exist, though aren't so advertized.
For example models "I-Glasses PC 3D Pro" and "eMagin Z800 3D Visor".
Both devices have the permission of screens 800x600,
and it would be desirable at least 1440x900.

So it is necessary to wait.

Whenever I hear the word gyroscope I think of the episode of southpark called "The Entity" where Mr.Garrison builds a vehicle based on gyroscopes. Funny! Anyways regarding sim-games, anyone who has X3-Terran conflict should give the brilliant giant new mod/rebalance a go. Its over on the egosoft forums and is known as "Xtended Terran Conflict" or XTC

It is more tremendous. That such is already possible that is possible for a long time is more tremendous. But it would be desirable all the same in the first - a helmet (not to mow eyes on the monitor), and to the second we send should be with two monitors for each eye that there was an effect of stereovideo.

What you are looking for was on the market 15 years ago:
http://www-graphics.stanford.edu/infrastructure/gamma-corrected/iglasses.html

It was compatible with Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries, as shown on page 43 of the manual.

lol. It was definitely one of the best games of all time in my books. I loved the combination of the detailed control over your mechs, team, and missions (like an RPG) with the all out twitch based action once you started the mission.

I can't wait for MW5! Hopefully it will be 3D Ready and head tracking compatible!

Most epic mech had to be the "Catapult", you know the one with the huge square missile launchers on each shoulder. Cost a fortune to keep it full of missiles but perfect for those missions where you just need to destroy the opposition's main unit as soon as possible.

I liked to hang quad shotguns on the rifleman. It was devasting.

You could get the Vuzix VR920. It is a headset that supports 3d and headtracking. It is not supported with the Nvidia 3D Vision driver (it used to be years ago) but you can use it with the iz3D driver. Personally I think getting an Nvidia 3D Vision 24" monitor is probably better use of the money, but if you really want a HMD then the VR920 is probably your best bet due to compatibility.

Vuzix VR920 640x480. At such Resolution pixels are distinguishable. And at Resolution 1440x900 pixels aren't so visible, and the size a picture is sufficient for effect of presence.
