Yet another one? I think we "fixed" like 10000000 already :))
How was it?
"Fight, Die, Repeat..."?
(http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1631867/) In case you haven't seen it, I recommend it! Awesome concept (but we've all done this before billions of times no?:))

I see what you mean, but the formula you descripe, goes for just about every open world title !
And thats why you prefer TR and ME,
Not necessarily. I prefer those because you feel more emotionally bonded with the characters. Its all about the story. FO4 is classified as a sandbox RPG.
In our age series is something most people do. Integrating a good story into a game is what keeps you coming back for more. Who ever wants/wanted their favorite series to end? Im sure most gamers prefer playing a game above watching a series. Many would probably prefer a balance? When playing a game with a good story you get a bit of both. Its also much more fun to be in control of a characters destiny rather than watching everything play out infront of you without you having any part in it.
But I just find the blanket term, “Bethesda game are boring” to be a bit unfair, not everyone agrees and I believe there are solid facts that counter that statement.
You got to ask yourself why Fallout 4 got such a bad rating (5.4 from 7589 Ratings, currently) http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/fallout-4
Very few titles got such a low rating (rank - 469, currently) http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/all/pc/filtered?sort=desc&page=4
Was it expectation/dissapointment?
Yet you still find Skyrim in the top ten http://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/metascore/all/pc/filtered?sort=desc&page=0
Bethesda's games definitely not boring. Perhaps just FO4 ;)
I rest my case :P

I did a forum search, but the search feature does not work for numbers, only letters. So apologies, if this has been mentioned previously.

There's another mod out for this game that is reported to make the settlement building a somewhat better experience.
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-sim-settlements-mod-for-fallout-4-is-so-good-it-should-be-an-official-part-of-the-game/
Note: may not be compatible with 3D with community 3D fix?
I'm warming up for a second playthrough anyway. and this looks like a must mod !
The settlements is a tedious and rather boring part of the game IMO
Thanks D-Man11 :)
PS4 users don't get free weekend, but they can buy game for 67% off and XB1 owners need an active Gold membership.
Waiting for Fallout 4 VR :)
The devs said it will be THE killer app for VR !
Right... I stopped believe what Bethesda say "IS KILLER X" a VERY VERY LONG TIME AGO! Before Morrowind actually;)
It will not! It will be good, AWESOME EVEN - after the community will fix and improve it - but Killer... no way!
(I am still waiting to see the "KILLER APP" for 3D Vision and while we have LOTS AND LOTS of fixes and PERFECT LOOKING games in 3D, none has been "Killer" so far ;) Not even the OFFICIAL 3D VISION READY games! ;))
PS:
By "killer" I mean FLAWLESS from graphical and technological POINT OF VIEW!!!
The only game I can say is close to this, is the Rise Of Tomb Raider as the Devs (Nixxie) took a BIG interest in fixing the game for 3D Vision, SLI is working and they were genuinely interested in this and making their game more awesome (WHICH IT IS!!!!)
