Is 3d dying or just badly neglected ?

I love 3d Vision. The Metro games, Mafia 2, Dragon's Dogma, Just Cause 2, the Arkham games, etc. They are all amazing in 3D. Oh ya and it was also a nightmare getting: the right monitor, the right cable (dual link DVI!), the right card, the emitter, the glasses and figuring out how to configure it so it looks right for yourself. After that if you're like me you quickly become hooked and you can't go back after. So you end up passing on all these games that aren't 3D because they don't stand out on their own without it anymore. Bu then again almost inexplicably GTAV comes out and has a first person and stereoscopic mode and once the patches fixed the issues and I got a good enough computer it was truly amazing after. oh ya and money.
