yes but that states a Stereo cursor so perhaps their cursor was already in stereo mine is not but thnx again. I will keep looking..
I did find it is possible to write Lua files for LOTRO maybe I should look there..
Well I was knee deep in LUA coding and stumbled across a site that said If I did code a mouse cursor with Lua files it would not be able to keep up speed wise with the scrolling around..
Seems to be a problem with Lua in General.. So at this point I don't think there is anything I can do to fix it unless there is a shader file of some kind for the cursor..
I did find a site that made a cursor program that it will change the cursor to bigger or different colors and such.. It seemed new and I posted a note and asked if it will make a hardware cursor into a Software based cursor??
IF that program can not do that I think I am out of luck.. but at least I am narrowing down the solutions.. almost back to none but there still may be a bit of hope.. I just not sure if the Hardware cursors use a shader file or whatever to be made..

I don't think it's possible for us to affect a hardware cursor through DirectX. That is essentially outside of the entire framework. The hardware cursor is an ancient hack in Windows.
The only thing that can be done is to turn off the hardware cursor, and use a software cursor instead. Even if one does not exist, it would be simple to add one via HLSL. I don't think performance is a key issue there, except that it probably cannot be done in something as high level as Lua. Maybe. Even with Lua I'd expect it to be able to keep up at 1/60 second.

Well I can turn off the hardware cursor I think. but I don't know how to make a software cursor in HLSL..
I could look into that but if it is easy can I pay someone here to write me a code for a software mouse cursor for LOTRO??
Well to be sure a Software cursor is what I need. Will a Software cursor be in S3D if made via HLSL??
I was looking at Elite Dangeorus and they used a different term but it was in S3D in the game.. it was an ingame panel based cursor was the term used but it is in 3D in the game

I did find some programs that could possibly help me make a Cursor in HLSL, It was 3D max and shader FX Program but the cost of those programs is insane..
I used to have access to programs like that when I was a Mentor in FIRST Robotics.. Wish I was still a mentor to have access to these prorams.. ;)
I was looking into writing my own Code there are tons of tutorials I just don't think without a mentor it would be easy.. I understand some basics of it but not sure if I could figure it out so many questions..
But I will keep looking around..

Well I am giving up on the mouse idea that is dead unless someone writes me a mouse cursor program in HLSL..
I do hav 1 user on the helixmod site that is having issues with the game.. IT seems he is after launching the launcher gets some beeps and then nothing..
I had that happen when I first started making the fix and just omitted the files and started the fix from scratch.. I was not sure what caused the beeps from my speakers when launching rthe game butr he has the same problem now and I did recheck the fix files and took them directly from my lotro folder directly..
Besides resetting the fix incase I screwed v1 up I redid the fix and uploaded v1.1 but he says it is still making beeps then CTD's to desktop but no error messages show up..
Does anybody have an IDea as to what would cause 3D Migoto to make beeps, I also had that happen on Arma3 but never had a problem with it CTD'ng??

OK I am in Business, I got it working, I was able to insert a mouse cursor and disable the ingame Mouse cursor with a Program called Cursor Node..
Now I also used an existing addon for LOTRO called Mouse Cursor Highlight Advanced.. I just had to omit his cursor and add a custom onre I made up..
I also used a program called Cursor Node which is gonna be a a payware addon but I could not figure out how else to do it..
Now the Addon is really not needed if you don't mind having the ingame mouse there as well. what is important is that I injected a Software mouse cursor in and it goes to Stereoscopic..
Now the Cursor Node Program just eliminates the ingame mouse cursor the hardware one.. I seen a mouse cursor I want to use but need to get it colored a different color but other thern that I got it finally..
I just need to put up some instructions on what to do at Helixmod site and insert the DL's and voila LOTRO is all fixed..

OK I seen the script that turns off the Mouse cursor.. here is the code:
[code]; Example: Hides the mouse cursor when you press Win+C. To later show the cursor, press Win+C again.

Now the question I have is how do I get this to run?? I tried making it a BAT file but it did not seem to work??
Thank you for showing me this now If I can get it working voila I have it made without a payware program.. I did get a Stereoscopic mouse now I just need to get rid of the ingame mouse cursor..

If not, then it needs to be compiled... which also needs AHK to be installed... one of the reasons I usually keep scripts to vbs or bat. :)
I could attach a compiled version, if you want... I could map it to a different key/combo... what would be ideal is something that only hid the cursor while *.exe was active/running and exited when it closed but that'd take some time in figuring out what it's doing and how to simplify the on/off portion of it

yes I installed Auto Hot Key and compiled the script I found.. it worked on Desktop but ingame it did NOT turn off the cursor.. I think because the hot key it chose which was Win + C..
I DL yours and will take a look at that thank you..
