3D not on the primary screen
Hallo,

The problem is my beamer. I have a GT640 and use three screens. For my daily work I use a 28" Hanns.G and a 24" acer. The acer is capable of showing 3D but I do not use it that way. For 3D and movies I have a Optoma Beamer. The problem is that I can run the 3D only on the primary screen. But I do not want to use the Beamer as primary, because I do not want it to run most of the time.

You can drag the Windows start bar to a different screen and most of the applications remember the position last used, but when I install something new or when a application does not remember the position I have to turn on the beamer and search the window. That is not a good workaround.

Best would be if I use 3D on the second or third screen. Than one of the other screens could be my primary screen solving the problems.

Is there an option in the drivers I just did not find? In the drop down box where I can choose the 3D screen only the primary screen is shown.
Is there a trick or hint what I can do about it?

Please Help.

Based on my limited knowledge and experience using two different screens, there is no workaround for your issue. The screen that is detected as 3D capable *MUST* be your primary display. Sorry.
