Need help with helix mod for Skyrim (3d simply doesnt turn on)
I'm also using realvision ENB but I don't think thats the problem. Turning it off effects nothing. It's not crashing or anything, it just simply stays in 2d. There's gotta be a simple fix that I'm overlooking. I asked on the helix comments but they're really old and outdated.
Also, of course 3d vision is turned on.

3D ought to work with/without mods. If <CTL>T is not turning 3D on you have some other issue with your system+setup.
Completely STOCK Skyrim will run in 3D however the shadows will be FUBAR. There's a config/ini file that needs to be edited to include a setting (forget what it is off the top of my head) which will fix most of the shadows. This will leave you with some other oddities. Namely: sky, moon, water reflections and a few other minor things.
I logged over 400hrs with only the config/ini file tweak. Here's where the Helix mod, Dorkit mod and a mod package from Skyrim Nexus can help. Both the Helix mod and the Nexus 'package' take care of the water+sky+moon and other 'oddities' (but in different ways). The Nexus package is compatible with "SweetFX". (this is the combination I use)
But seriously, Stereoscopic 3DVision/3DPlay will work without any additional software. (however it WILL have some of the visual distractions mentioned above).
