Yeah this was good news, I enjoyed the first one (even if I played it in 2D like an idiot before I discovered 3D and this forum). I liked observer less, but really appreciate these guys and the visuals they come up as an indie dev. Definitely looking forward to this one in 3D (hopefully)!

I will put the fix in the blog later.

i loved the first layers of fear. I have to say the piano piece in the opening screen (someone knows maybe who wrote it?) and the overall mystery of this game did something to me emotionally so ill definitely going to play the second one sometime.. someday time.. is not on my side.. no its not.. time is not on my side.. no its not.. thanks DHR

Amazing fix as always DHR. Only played the game for 10 minutes and it's already very scary lol. Anyway I'm not sure why but I get massive geometry flickering from certain camera angles and the problem is caused by depth. It's the first time I'm seeing this issue I think. It doesn't happen in all areas and I've also disabled my registry depth hack but still the only way I could fix this was by lowering depth to 30-40% from my monitor's default 100%. Can this geometry culling be corrected somehow or did the devs do funky stuff in some levels just for optimization? And can someone else confirm this ?

I personally don't have that geometry flickering or missing....i don't use depth hack and i use 3DTV Play (TB Mode 1080p) in all the games i play; and play always at 100%. My issue is solved after DHR found an engine parameter to disable this aggressive object culling. Anyone experiencing the problem should add this line in Engine.ini: [SystemSettings] r.AllowOcclusionQueries=0 I haven't seen any major performance impact in the affected areas so it's all good for now. Many thanks again to DHR :)
