I have tried all the possible configuration setting to unlock this stupid lock and wasn't able to find it.... I also tried different approaches that resolved the issue in Amnesia for examples but wasn't able to apply it on RAGE. (If I would have, believe me I would have done it the 1st time around;)) ). I will give another look on how to synch the eyes but atm assume that it will not be done and will have the same problem as RAGE.

Great job, thank you so so much for your time.

Would it be worth contacting the devs to ask for assistance in removing the cap? It might be something relatively easy to do (or they could even patch it in, perhaps).

I did find this: http://steamcommunity.com/app/288570/discussions/0/540741859664690439/ In RAGE it worked until they patched the game. Don; t know about WOLF though. But I am not able to test it as I am still at work for the next couple of hours. But if anyone can test it and confirm it or deny it at least we know if it works or not. Contacting the devs and asking them for this will not hurt...if we do get it is another thing though;))

I could never get the seta com_maxfps to work in 2D, let alone 3D. But just for verification, I tried 3D and no luck. Still 30fps.

On another note: - I fixed the UI shaders so the UI is pushed in depth. - Removed (looking how to fix it) some minor shadows. - Some UI elements still need fixing. The sync issue is there for the time being. In 3D Surround (on 2xGTX780Ti) I am achieving constant 30fps on Medium/Custom High Settings. Ultra gets me 48fps in 2D. In 3D I get around 18-20 fps and the "eye lagging" is very visible. Also, there is a possibility the game will SUFFER the same issue as RAGE: Meaning it will not work for everyone. <- I will release an alpha version to test and see if this issue is still present here. Will do more fixing this evening and will make an alpha release.

The entire gaming community will one day thank helifax, eqzitara, mike_ar69 and others in this forum and helixmod site for literally adding a new dimension to interactive entertainment by transforming these flat video games into rich, immersive experiences. Dr. Carmack's Tech 5 engine has been so consolified that the cvars will not even let it overcome a hard-coded framerate limit! It is sad and ironic that this is the only thing preventing helifax from taking the Tech 5 engine into the next dimension. Clearly Carmack sees the potential of 3D stereoscopy. His participation in the Oculus Rift effort almost certainly led to fast VC funding and early massive exit for that company. While I support the Oculus Rift effort, it is disappointing to see how little corporate support that Nvidia has given to 3DVision. Some additional support to game developers and the excellent mod community here could lead to a potential explosive adoption of 3D gaming. This support should enable better press coverage and exposure for 3D gaming at EEE, Game Developer Conference, and Siggraph etc. I believe that the brilliant mod community here should receive stronger support from Nvidia and from other enthusiasts to help make this happen. (I favor a kickstarter or similar effort. I did contribute to the last one which was withdrawn). While HMDs are interesting, game developers should immediately adopt good 3D rendering practices that will naturally make their content playable on any stereoscopic display. Using these simple coding practices together with straightforward 3D crosshairs and hmd elements (and eliminating hard-coded framerate limits!) will expand the potential market for their content and products in ways that can only be imagined today. The immersive quality of stereo gaming tends to draw the user into the content in a way that quickly converts a high percentage of users into stereo gaming enthusiasts. Our community needs support to get more people exposed to the technology and the experience. One consideration could be to produce a high quality 3D demo or film or video for trade meetings (EEE) or consumption by the emerging 3D TV channels. This content should emphasize the advantages of 3D gaming over 3D films, namely that the user can adjust depth and convergence to personal preference. Thanks again to all of you brilliant modders! -Baragon
