[quote="D-Man11"]With monifo, it's possible to edit the native resolution. I took "2560x1080" 181.250 2560 2608 2640 2720 1080 1083 1093 1111 +hsync -vsync from yours and swapped it with the 1920x1080 of the BenQ. With any luck, it might work.

I installed the driver rebooting and using "not signed drivers" option 7, the driver was installed ok and screen works but in nvidia pannel or 3D i launch the assistant but doesnt dectect the monitor as 3D. Only 3D vision discover and CRT monitor as the original Acer Driver.

in Devices appear as ACER Z35 (ACR0478 EDID Override) and i reboot after install the driver, if you need something more, tell me to put here.
When i go to activate 3D and open the assistant, the two options are red-blue glasses and CRT, with CRT selected the screen flashes in 60Hz but the nvidia glasses doesnt work. IR Receiver is with strong green. After this i try to start the 3D test but only some white screens with different resolution are displayed.

What does it show up as in the NVCP change resolution tab? It should be XL2420T. You should be getting a green 3D Vision logo. It shows 2560x1080@60 as a selectable resolution in the NVCP when I try it. So at least the 21:9 native resolution change worked. I'm not certain what's specifically is required in the EDID to get it working. Unfortunately, there aren't any certified 21:9 monitors.

Hi again, i was doing more tests and changin inf and more and more and i could see the image in 3D but in a low resolution and only 100Hz, more is worst. In a few minutes i will post images and info. I think that with the apropiate driver is possible to see 3D in nice resolution with this monitor.

I was doing some modifications to the inf and with the Entech software, i could see 3D but in low resolution and with only 100Hz. With Benq inf i can see 3D vision ready but i cant see 3D and cant launch the 3d wizard and test, with modify acer inf i can see 3D but inverting the glasses, left to right and right to left.

Testing the game in 3D, :D i can see 3D but.. i think that working more could be possible to getting full 3D

Please, help a little more to get 3D work in this monitor.. now all VR is the "best" but what happened with 3D?

VR is not the best! VR is different. Anyone who compared 3D Vision with VR (what was available) said exactly the same, that 3D Vision provides (currently) a way better experience and stereo 3D. VR will be the best on specially tailored games for VR, but for all other 905% of games (that are not VR specific) 3D Vision and stereo 3D will provide better experience. (Not playing a game in 2D in a 3D Virtual Screen...come on!)
For Rise of the Tomb Raider you should use our Community Fix btw;)
For swapping the eyes there is a registry that you can modify. I don't know which but others might help here;) Also, there are various topics on this;)
Unfortunately I don't know anything about EDID overriding, so can't help you there:(
But is awesome what you got so far! I think a bit tweaking to the ACER inf and you will make it work proper;)

Hello, thanks for the reply!, i know that VR is totally different, innmersive game, 360º view, movement caption, and much more, but i refer to the old technologies as 3D that a lot of people have, and anoter much people doesnt know (and i think that is for what that dont go more far) because since i play games in 3D and see videos and more in 3D, uff, i miss a lot when i bought this monitor cause my last Asus came faulty with flicker problem. I have 3D system but i cant use?¿ why! if the monitor can do it... or this is that i think..
Im following the VR developement some years ago, and i want to buy one glasses.... first only was the oculus rift, but now some many options exists, but the prices are a lot of different that they estimated in final version, from $300 to $800
A lot of old games and actual games are in 3D, but i cant use it cause there is no new monitors that support 3D Vision Ready... and i bought this Acer to have a "nice" monitor and then will buy the VR glasses to play VR, but what i dont know is that is not compatible with another 3D games.. only VR ready games are playable...
So for this reason im trying to see 3D in this Acer...
I was so happy with my Asus 3D, the resolution, refresh, pannel, design... all, but 5 months after i had the screen began to blink and flickering appeared.... so i tryed to use Asus support, but uff, for the monitor was a totally hell. Finally i can replace my damaged monitor for another one, but i was thinking that it will come faulty... and finally when i turned on as first time... the right side of the pannel, was with flickering (new monitor directly from asus).... so, i was tired to calls, mails, etc... and i decided to buy the acer and then VR glasses...
Now, im so frustrated because i cant play or see 3D in this monitor, i changed it in december after wait 2 months, and i miss a lot and i dont play anything because the games are totally diferent...
I dont know if anyone shares the same as me, but i want to go ahead no come back to old techs...
I hope to get run 3D with your help in this monitor, for me this could be a satisfactory end :D
Thanks for helping!
i will try to modify the register and continue with testing.
Regards.

Try it again, also make a Custom Resolution profile for 2560x1080@120 using CVT reduced blank.
