I'll try to keep this short and concise... I've tried for a couple days and can't seem to figure this out so I'm posting here hoping to get this resolved.
I have a GeForce GTX 560TI, Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and a Vizio 47" 3D LED TV. (Model: M3D470KD)
Basically, I can enable Stereoscopic 3D in the nVidia Control Panel, but for some reason all of the options are greyed out. The 3D works. The set up wizard works, I got it to actually work with Battlefield 3, but I can't figure out why I can't use the keyboard shortcuts or modify the settings on the 3D settings page in the control panel. Oh, and the list of 3d compatibility is gone. When I switch my display back to my monitor the settings are changeable and the compatibility list is there.
Here's a screenshot of what I'm looking at:
image
For some reason it seems like it's detecting the TV as "HDMI Blu-Ray 3D" and I think that's my problem. So anyway, I manually set Battlefield 3's resolution to 1920x1080 24hz and it actually worked in 3D but none of the keyboard shortcuts worked and I couldn't clear away the text at the bottom right of the screen about the 3D vision compatibility, the one that says "press control+alt+insert to clear." Control+alt+insert or any other combo (control+T or control+F12 or F4) would not work. I have rebooted the computer after hooking up the TV and I am on the latest nvidia drivers. (img)
I can't seem to get the 3D to work with portal 2, or anything else, and I can't figure out how to get the keyboard shortcuts to work. Can anyone help?
Thanks so much in advance.
Edit: Also, the computer definitely seems to recognize the TV properly as it shows the correct model in the standard change resolution dialog: img

It has a 14-day trial. After you install it you will see the 3DTV play logo in your Control panel \ Stereoscopic settings.
Now you will be able to remove the Nvidia ratings "in green". Make sure to set your in-game resolution to 720p 60 :) It will Pop into 3D right away.

Thanks for the reply. I am installing it now. What happens after the 14 day trial?
Oh, so this video card won't do this without that software? I need to lay out another $40? That kind of sucks. :(

Fair enough. It looks like I'm going to have to. I just assumed whatever the solution was was going to be a driver thing or something I was doing wrong, so I didn't really think about trying the 3dplay thing. Well, it worked perfectly, so I now  but maybe someone else having the same issue will save a few hours if they stumble across this :)
