I have read in a few places that this card can play 3D bluray. On the Nvidia official list it shows this card but has (notebook) after it. (http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html)
on another site (Toms Hardware) it suggests that the GT 240 cards are compatible (http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/blu-ray-3d-3d-vision-3d-home-theater,2636-7.html)
and finally I managed to find a passive version of the card that would be perfect for a HTPC if it is capable of playing 3D blurays... (http://www.zotacusa.com/zone-geforce-gt-240-1gb-550mhz-1580mhz-zt-20404-20l.html)
So I am wondering, can anyone confirm whether this card is compatible or not.
Also, what type of games would it be able to play in 3D? its only going to be in 720p due to my projectors limitations.

I am building an HTPC so really a quad core processor is a bit much and hard to keep cool.

Does this include Bluray *3D* as well?
It appears on the that not all of their cards offload the CPU processing for 3D bluray to the GPU...

Hi
I have just set up a 3d vision HTPC, it's a 1.86ghz core2duo, 2g of ram and a Palit 1gb GT240 and it plays 3d blu ray perfectly.
Cheers
