Thank you Helifax!
First I tested on my Windows10 that was loading on 3D Vision (Not SBS). It ran at 30fps, before I think it was running at 45fps, it fixed all the blue textures except for one at the begnning as soon as you leave the scan room in the left there is like a fan which still had the problem.
Then I changed to Windows 7, tested before apply the fix it loaded in SBS with 60fps, then applied the fix and made sure I had deleted all the files from old fix (coz on win10 i wasnt sure as the uninstall showed some messages that couldnt find some files). Anyway loaded the game and for my surprise it loaded in 3D Vision instead of SBS and I is running well at 60fps very few drops to 50fps and no blue texture nowhere. So it is great on my Win7. This is a borrowed disk that I am running Win7 now so I will get rid of Win 8.1 on my other disk and install Win7, and have my two disks Win10 / Win7 as it seems I get better results on Win7.
Thanks again for the fix, I am playing this tonight :D

Awesome that you got it working! And thank you for the feedback!
I am not sure what is wrong on the Win10 install there. I did test it on Win10 (with Anniversary crap - as I wasn't able to avoid it and it just installed itself). It was running butter-smooth.
However, one thing you can try is to:
- Open NVidia Inspector
- Find SOMA profile.
- Hit the Nvidia logo button to rest the profile to default.
Then try the fix again and see if it works;) It sounds like a profile issue there.

Dont know what f* is going on now. I am giving up playing this game.
Just installed Win7 on my disk that I previously had Win8.1 and in this installation I am getting 25/30 fps.
Then, well I booted to the other Win7 installation that was working fine with 60 fps and it is not working anymore, like cannot even load the game from the last checkpoint, the continue option is disable and i have to start a new game, then started a new game and only get 25/30 fps. Dont know if it was something that happened after reboot, like the fix worked fine before reboot. Just dont understand!
Is there a way I can get it to load SBS again? It seems all attempts that loaded with SBS I had 60fps.
I tried to remove the run as admin, but it still run with 3D Vision.
Editing post... I think I found the problem that was causing the bad performance! The VSYNC was ON in the control panel, once I turned it off, bang!!! 60FPS!!! Hope that was the issue and it doesn't break again somehow after a reboot... I was waiting to play this game in VR, but God knows when I will get my hands on a VR Headset.
Anyway, it would be good if we could also run this SBS, anyone with a VR headset would be able to play it in geometry 3D.

Interesting...
I see you use an override for a non-3D Vision Ready display. I bet there is where your problem lies (for some reason). I don't think you have access to a proper 3D Vision Ready display?
If you try to use 3DTVPlay, do you see the same behaviour? (OFC, removing the override)

In terms of performance I had the same performance with 3D Vision Play. The override makes no difference.
I dont think there is any difference at all with a 3D Vision Ready display.
The problem with SOMA was the vsync enabled in the CP.

Do you have any idea how awesome that is? What I like especially is the fact that contrary to direct x games, with your wrapper there is no displacement of shadows ever. Particles, textures, shadows even bloom works exactly as advertised. The ending in 3D... wow!

Hi helifax, Mike_ar69 and DarkStarSword,
Thanks for the fix mateys, I finally got around to playing this properly. I'm really enjoying the atmosphere, thanks to you guys!
I don't have SBS projector. Out of curiosity, can your wrapper do
left eye 1 -> display
right eye 2 -> display
left eye 3 -> display
right eye 4 -> display
left eye 5 -> display
right eye 6 -> display
?
Thanks.

Hey guys. The wrapper seems to override the game's refresh setting somehow? Or something else is doing it? Problem is playing on my projector, the games keeps reverting to 720p 120hz, no matter what refresh rate I set it to, which breaks my 3DTV / vision. Just spend two hours trying to fix it, but whatever is causing it, it's hellbend on selecting the highest refresh rate. Any thoughts?

Try to run the game in Window Mode and see if this still happens. It is possible to force 120Hz in FullScreen (Exclusive Fullscreen).
I don't remember doing any forcing of Refresh Rate anywhere, so it is possible the 3D Vision drivers forces this.

I messed around with the 3DVisionwrapper.ini changing it to the following fixed the issue:
SyncToMonitorRefreshRate = false
ForceFullScreen = false
ForceWindowModeSupport = true
FullScreenDetection = false

If i would just get more Juice to deliver constant 120 fps. Did soma release Support sbs output and does it Work more efficiently ? what did you do Differently? I just tried this game with my 1080 TI I can't get past 24 fps or something low like that. Im getting massive Eye sync issues. I could probably get a head ache if test for more than 5 minutes.
PS. I have an AMD FX 8530 I know is not the newest CPU, but I can run other more demanding games better. So I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong.

Your CPU is a huge problem, especially with 3D vision.

what did you do Differently? I just tried this game with my 1080 TI I can't get past 24 fps or something low like that. Im getting massive Eye sync issues. I could probably get a head ache if test for more than 5 minutes.
PS. I have an AMD FX 8530 I know is not the newest CPU, but I can run other more demanding games better. So I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong. [/quote]
Hhahhahahja..... i really don't know. I have played around 40-50hours with this game to get it run. Never sucseeding for more than few seconds with out massive synch errors. Only Things that have changed in my system between total failure and 70% sucses ( i say this
As the eye synch issue Was so little i tested this time the game almoust an hour, i can definetly feel the one eye is like a frame ahead or Something and when i go into extremely demanding sections my frames dip because of cpu and cause that horrible eye synch error.
Back to what i Was saying. Only Things changed Are the fact i installed Reshade and tried the "fake 3D" ...uninstalled. I had quadro card
Installed that caused my OpenGL apps to be hicjacked by the quadro with no possibilyty to run with TitanX.
Now after i removed my quadro i have not updated drivers. And the quabros nview panel still hangs around in my system so there may be some left Overs off it in the system.
But i honestly don't know whats the delio here.
Metaloholic said:Woo finally i managed to get soma working 70% comfort, the 980ti just Was not up to the task with my i5 or Something has changed in my system as now the game works almoust perfectly only sometimes dropping below 120 fps giving eye synch errors and there for dropping out of synch.

Thanks for the fix mateys, I finally got around to playing this properly. I'm really enjoying the atmosphere, thanks to you guys!
I don't have SBS projector. Out of curiosity, can your wrapper do
left eye 1 -> display
right eye 2 -> display
left eye 3 -> display
right eye 4 -> display
left eye 5 -> display
right eye 6 -> display
?
Thanks.

I don't remember doing any forcing of Refresh Rate anywhere, so it is possible the 3D Vision drivers forces this.

SyncToMonitorRefreshRate = false
ForceFullScreen = false
ForceWindowModeSupport = true
FullScreenDetection = false
