Is samsung 2233z old gen? It has a "3d vision ready" sticker and it came as a bundle.

The 2233 is a first gen display, depending how you want to count the newer displays are "3rd" generation.
There is still some ghosting in all the displays. It's to be expected given the technology.
A lot of people in this thread literally had double images over a good half of the screen, which is not expected.

the 2233 is the worst possible 3d vision certified display
the 16:10 ones are first gen
the acer gd235hz/gd245hq and alienware 1080p ones are 2nd gen, they have firmware problems
the planar and some other acer/asus ones are 3rd gen, and would be nearly perfect if the glasses allowed it

It's been a very long time since anyone's posted in this thread so I can only hope that this problem has once and for all been solved and I may be able to avail of it. I'm getting this wretched ghosting at the top of screen and I have a brand new machine and LCD screen. My specs: LCD 3D TV: Samsung UE32ES6300 Graphics card: Quadro 2000 64-bit Win 7 Can I get some assistance with this, please?

I bought a 2233Z and a 3D Vision years ago, I noticed the ghosting on the top of the screen, but it never bothered me much. For me it's like a dead pixel, after a while you don't even notice it's there anymore.

Sometimes that's true but sometimes it's unbearable. Especially when the story shifts to the top of the screen - you just can't watch it. Has anyone been able to tweak their glasses-tv timing? That would help out a lot.
It's been a very long time since anyone's posted in this thread so I can only hope that this problem has once and for all been solved
Ghosting has not been solved yet for LCD panels because LCD panels still draw image from top to bottom (there is video from rkuo on youtube demostrating this with 600fps camera http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAQh6bREFqM) and have overdrive, etc ... Ghosting is not present on good plasma TVs and DLP tvs and projectors because they switch image quickly and without inertia.

Have you read the thread and tried any of the solutions posted by other users? The qouted post abelow says that the ghosting is solved if a "USB" headset it used.
Hi all,

I can confirm that I have been a able to workaround this issue. Play a game, and plug in my IPOD for the first time on a new Windows 7 Install: The ghosting will go away for 10 secs as the system scans the IPOD
2. Or have you tried the suggestion by this poster?
Hi guys,

Kamran is 100% correct. I had this exact same issue also on a Phenom II system (890FX chipset). There's an issue with the latency of the USB controller that's causing the top-of the screen only blur.

All I had to do was plug my pyramid into one of my USB3.0 ports as they run off a different controller, problem fully resolved.

If you have this issue, pick-up a USB PCI (PCI-E) add-on board with its own controller for £10-£20 should resolve your issues.
