Gabriel Knight Sins of the father, asking Devs to implement 3D thread on Steam
Guys, I asked devs to do 3D but a dev replied that it's not simple, and brought up couple difficulties that I have no idea on. Anyone cares to chime in at thread below on Steam (towards the end of thread)? http://steamcommunity.com/app/262000/discussions/0/616187839144518995/

3D models on 2D backgrounds? If so, even if they added a wireframe and applied the 2D background to it, it might only look good from one perspective, a low/locked separation/convergence ... but I kind of even doubt that. It's not layered like some 2D 3D games(Rayman Origins/Teslagrad) where the perspective is 'scalable'.

Yeah, that's not going to work. The backgrounds are pre-rendered outside of the engine, so 3d vision has no way of rendering the second angle required.
