im just a happy new owner of 3d vision bundle.
was playing around with separation for a while, but increasing separation just caused ghosting and did not add much to the 3D effect.
man! oh man! how happy I was when I got convergence working! ^^
I would say that I was dissapointed in the product and 3D until I worked out convergence adjustment.
but I still find it difficult to sense the degree of adjustment and therefore i would like to see implemented an OSD exactly like it is for separation.
I feel that it would greatly improve the speed and convenience of finding the right stereo settings.

Agreed an OSD would be nice, but auto convergence would be better.

Voted big yes as that is what I have been missing since day one :)
Okey it aint a deal breaker as every game is different, you adjust separation for your taste and then convergence to macth it up. I can now set up the convergence for my taste just in seconds, very easy when you have used 3D Vision for a while!
And yeep, it's convergence that really gives the 3D Vision real depht /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
To bad tho that the more you set separation the more ghosting/ crosstalk as you said!

im wandering what considerations devs have had when they designed driver interface. several questions pop in mind:
1) why separation is default adjustable setting instead of convergence?
increasing separation increases ghosting, whereas increasing convergence (almost) does not.
it would make sense to put up front the setting which is creating less "noise", thus - better stereo experience.
2) why convergence is "hidden" under keyboard shortcuts -> advanced settings, and has to be enabled manually?
what is it so advanced about it? what does make it more advanced then separation?
3) why not put convergence slider in driver settings along with separation slider?
I would like set a default convergence which im comfortable with.
