Well, over the last year I have been getting into 3D stereo and what a wonderful world is. It so sad to see Nvidia putting a stop on releasing more 3D drivers, well unless you brought a Zalman/IZ3D monitor. So everyone with the homemade 3D projection kits etc have to suffer and will be slowly pushed back into 2D or forced to by a Zalman or a IZ3D. But does this have to be the case
.. Lets look at the facts. well actually theres only two facts,
1) Money , Nvidia only care about profit, hey its a company what more would we expect
2) The days of a free 3D stereo are over , blame Zalman they gave money to nvidia for something that was free they aint ever gona give it for free again
So lets give them money to build a generic 3D stereo, There are loads of 3D stereo websites out there, which if you look at it, theres not going to be another generic 3D stereo driver then most likely these websites will die of too. So cant we start a fund to buy a generic 3D stereo from nvidia. Say if it cost £10,000, ( which I dont know how much it costs) then only 1000 people need to put in £10. Which isn't allot if you have hundreds of pounds worth of equipment which you cant no longer use. Not only that when the Driver is brought it is then given to anyone who put in the money upfront to get it programmed and then its sold to any new people who want the driver, which then uts money in for future updates
emm I think you get my drift
The only down full is we need a big website behind this idea, which also means they need to be very trustworthy and established, what about something like guru3D etc. etc.
Ok this all may seem a long shot but hey if you want 3D drivers then something needs to be done and actioned , so if you think this is a good idea reply, if you have contacts then post saying you have contacts and you want to help. IF you know how much it would cost please post

Well, we'll see, we heard many things that were not true (regarding 3d drivers).
It's kinda bad when you have to wait months and years for drivers. And you don't get to live 1000 years /whistling.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistling:' /> .

Read the thread and post if you want to tell them which way would be good for you. They have not decided yet. But they listen to suggestions.
