Vision and Fujifilm w3 64-bit Settings
Hi everyone,

I have NVidia vision which works with other files but not with my W3 avi files - "not able to play this file".

I have updated Vision and nvidia drivers to latest. I have installed ffdshow codecs 64 bit and 32 bit and set MJPEG Video decoder to ffdshow video decoder. In FFDshow I have enabled libavcodec for MJPEG. It does not play the file - above error message. I then added a few other splitters like Haali etc but still wont play it.

Please could somebody give me a step by step settings guide to get it to work - both ffdshow and Vision. I am running 64bit Windows 7.

Many thanks in advance. Its driving me mad.

Thanks again,

I wish I knew. I can play it back in SMPlayer and it's using the ffmjpeg codec. Audio is using pcm. The thing is, it seems to be a simple 2D video. Maybe there are two streams or some such? <shrug>

My NVIDIA video player has been completely mangled for a month now. I haven't been able to play any video in 3D except for the wmv that came with it.

Its good to know I am not alone but sorry to hear of your problems.

Fujifilm japan has said it is compatible but dont know why mine doesnt work with their files. They have said Cyberlink works too but I get sound only - "unknown file format". Could be 64 bit , could be codec. Who knows?

Very frustrating because Fuji think its the software and NVidia for example do not provide support for a camera.

i have installed K-lite codec pack (both 32 and 64-bit pack versions) and no problems at all running Fuji w3 video in W7 64 bit too.
