Metro Exodus?

Sadly... it doesn't work for me. It looks almost as broken as without the fix. I will stick with CMU :) Which fixes both all the rendering (has the same depth and convergence presets I want) and doesn't tank my GPU to 50%. Your fix: My CMU: Which one looks better? Sure, I know you hate the halos and so on;) But, after playing for 10 minutes I somehow stopped noticing them:) Also, I noticed that you didn't include my TAA file which is required for 3DSurround, otherwise you get this: Also, your BLUR fix is not required as it CORRECTLY addressed by my TAA shader as you can see above. That shader DOESN'T SIMPLY disable some stuff, it actually FIXES TAA for 3D Vision, so TAA actually works. In any case, I bet others will have better results, as they aren't running some exotic setup as I do. Also this:
FCK YOU NVIDIA, you skip 3D Support? I'll skip Shader hacking ....... Without the this community 3D have had been killed arround 2014.....
Please revisit that comment. You should thank Nvidia for keeping 3D Vision around for full 10 years and actually with the R418 giving us both 3DTVPlay and the driver, instead of saying EOL and your on your own. Support will run until 2020. Sure, maybe it was because of us that we kept this technology working and continue using it and fixing games, they decided to keep it for 10 years and not the 5 year regular interval, but still, I don't think it's polite and correct to say that. If it wasn't for them, 3D Vision wouldn't even be a thing. It looks like you are very stressed:) Please, take some time to relax :) All the best wishes!

Unfortunately I ran into an issue with the latest version as well--an issue that wasn't present with the previous version ... Everything is tinted blue. I double checked all other possibilities and it's definitely the latest version of the fix. When I went back to the previous version, colors were correct again. So something was changed in this version, from the last version, that has led to this. It may be related to the fact that I'm using the SBS 3D mode, although again, that mode worked correctly with the previous version of your fix. I know you've been frustrated with this process, so I totally understand if you just want to move onto something else. Appreciate your hard work in any case.

Ok there should be something worng with the "fix" i have uploaded...May be because of my frustration ^^ I have implemented some Profile changes for the driver profile.... Ill check this. I will also have another look @ the damn ligth PS @the Weekend....I need to find the depth Register....with a fresh mind of course :-) .... ist only one damn shader to get the shadows and the lights handled. I was able to fix it but it was also not moving along with the depth.. I would be happy if someone can upload some savegames here for having a look @ some more parts of the game. @vrhaints: Please contact me with a PM, ill Need you to check some things this evening for tracking down the problem.

Hello everyone! I'm new in this forum and in the 3D vision universe i've just received my new (old) 3D monitor which is the Asus VG278H and i love it! I have a question about the CM Unleashed, i am lost about how to use it.. I've downloaded the "3d surround gaming" tool in this thread: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1097032/3d-vision/3d-vision-compatibility-mode-quot-unleashed-quot-/1/ But when i launch the tool in administrator, it says select one of the following profiles: i have 0 for CM unleashed, i have to select it by pressing 0, then start the game, then done? because when i type "ctrl+shift+PLUS or MINUS" nothing happening.. I'm not sure i've done everything like i should.. Thanks a lot in advance for your advice Cheers and sorry for my english, i'm french^^

Some progress news here, i was able to fix the shadows and the lights that now scales with the depth of the scene and that is unbound from convergence now!!!! The problem of the clipping remains and i also have to track down the reflection issue. vrhaints was helping me to track down problems with V2.0 and i think we have solved this. As soon as i get some response for the last test he will made, ill release V2.1 as a WIP until i continue my work here. //some part of the reflectiosn are fixed, i need to track donw the second one....tomorrow....
Hi, what is the 2DDHUDSettings to use with Metro exodus ? has anyone good settings to share for a 65" lg oled tv ?
For metro exodus it's 0x10000102. I experimented with 2DDHUDSettings value in some games and my experience is that the latest DX11 titles have the best chance to work with 0x10000102. Older DX11 have a higher chance to work with 0x10000002. Also I checked the engines. Unity and Unreal 4 engine have the lowest chance to work in CM. Although some rare games with these engines work very good in CM most don't! Just to pick an example of many: Darksiders 3 (Unreal Engine 4) has no chance to run in CM. Ghost of a Tale has also no chance to run in CM (Unity Engine 2017.1). But: for these game engines it's recommended to use the universal 3D fix made by DHR for true 3D anyway!

As a logical consequence I expected Nvidia to also kill 3D Vision for the consumer market but not before 2020 or 2021 because there are still a lot of 3D Vision kits / monitors out there on the market. This hardware is far from being sold out yet! That's the reason why I was also very upset and sad because I didn't expect such a rude step from Nvidia already now! At least there are discussions to develop a replacement for the 3D Vision driver! And chances are not so bad!

With CMU, upon entering the game, the CTRL-Shift T function does not work, the CMU window says it cannot find entry point for convergence patching. I have edited the included file and put the metroexodus.exe into it. I have enable advanced in game settings enabled and the green writing appears. The options screens are blurry. If i start the game it's intense polygon glitching. I also don't have the CTRL F11 ability either. What is my noob self doing wrong?

I have edited the included file and put the metroexodus.exe into it. I have enable advanced in game settings enabled and the green writing appears. The options screens are blurry.

If i start the game it's intense polygon glitching. I also don't have the CTRL F11 ability either.
