Saints Row 4 - DX11 Fix
  6 / 6
Yes, sorry this game fix only works in SLI. DarkStarSword is looking into this single card problem on FC4, but it has so far stumped all of us to get it to work on single card. For performance, this game is one of the few where I'll also agree that the game is just terribly optimized. It's not a question of hardware exactly, it just runs poorly depending upon where you are in the game. This is true in 2D as well if you check the forums. Here's the best we came up with before: New alternate path that we just figured out for Lighting:Low (for performance reasons): 1. Remove the profile altogether, using NVidia Inspector (null profile) (allows using Low) 2. ***The fix only works for SLI at the moment. 3. Edit d3dx.ini and enable "surface_square_createmode=1" (fixes reflections) 4. Probably set "create_profile=1" for null profile. (allow saved convergence) 5. Set Lighting to Low.
To be honest, I can't remember if this game is CPU bound or not, but when the frame rates drop to 25, like they sometimes do for me, a 20% increase in CPU won't make much difference. Both our CPUs running at the clocks they are (4.4GHz and 4.5GHz) still compete with the best even now so I would not focus on that as a priority unless you see CPU usage maxing out - which I never do in any game, ever, it's always my graphics cards that get crippled first.
I get shed loads of hitching in this game when jumping about in real 3D, rendering it unplayable for me. This is with or without fix. CM isn't too bad though but you pay for quality right?

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
I get shed loads of hitching in this game when jumping about in real 3D, rendering it unplayable for me. This is with or without fix.
I'm the same. On my PC (4770k + GTX Titan SLI; fast SSD) when using 3D, the average framerate is fine, but the game is a stuttering mess. It's distracting, and even makes combat and sprinting navigation difficult sometimes. This is with or without 3Dmigoto, and happens regardless of low/high graphics settings. Merely having 3D loaded in the driver seems to be the problem (ie. the stuttering doesn't go after pressing Ctrl-T to go to 2D). Once I toggled off 3Dvision in the control panel and reloaded the game, it runs butter smooth, even at max settings (8xMSAA etc.). I'm playing it in 2D at the moment. The cramped unpleasantness of 2D is actually outweighed by the unpleasantness of that stuttering in 3D for me. :/

Given that it happens even without the fix, and your hardware is as good as it gets, that suggests the driver or game as the weak point. We've had a LOT of trouble with recent drivers and 3D, so there is one thing that I think is worth a little effort- try switching back to driver 320.49. That driver fixed my stutter problem with WatchDogs SLI, and your Titans can run that driver. That's the best driver I know of.

So I just tried this fix on Gat Out Of Hell, and...it fixed a lot of the issues! There's a few shaders that aren't right, but it's almost playable. Looks like it might be a relatively simple fix to finish off, given most of the groundwork is already there. If anyone were so inclined, that is.

I did the same thing, but since Gat out of Hell is also affected by the non-SLI mono depth buffer bug it's up to someone with SLI to fix it for now.

I have tried 3D Migoto SBS with this fix and i can't toggle through the modes with F11 is this because of the non-SLI bug or have i done something wrong? How does the non-SLI bug look? With the fix it looks like there is a grid over the image like when launching the game with HDMI-Checkerboard.
