Little Concerned
So I didn't even think to look and see if my Tv supports 3dtv play, $1400 later and 2 hours worth of wall mounting I don't see it on the list, stupid me, can anyone tell me if the UN46ES7100 Samsung LED will work?

I would guess so. You can try the 3DTV play demo to find out.

46" Samsung ES7500 3DTV (checkerboard, high FOV as desktop monitor, highly recommend!) - Metro 2033 3D PNG screens - Metro LL filter realism mod - Flugan's Deus Ex:HR Depth changers - Nvidia tech support online form - Nvidia support: 1-800-797-6530

Does the Tv model need to show up on the supported list or is the list more of a formality, I would attempt the test however it wont allow me past the graphics card test given that the 9800gtx+ isn't supported, so before I go and buy a new card I was hoping to find out if it'd be a waste or not. I was considering the gtx 660 ti

If that doesnt work ask here.I think there was a way but not sure anymore. It may require old drivers. http://3dvision-blog.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=9&sid=cbcc4c2c8b3287a06adbb132b291b81b

Sorry I am a tad confused now, getting which part to work, 3d on the 98s, the 3dtv play test to run on 98s or getting my tv to work with a new graphics card? If I were to assume I would believe you were saying that the card I have now can be used with old drivers, which would be absolutely fantastic as it might give me an idea of what the 3d looks like :)

Seriously, you'd think with all that oxygen that they suck up over there at the Green Building, they'd get a clue and sticky the solution or make it easier for users to find the necessary information. You need to follow the instructions buried in the FAQ section http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2774

Oh, thanks much, I did that earlier today, is that all that needs to be done for them to add it to the drivers? Sorry, maybe I should have explained a little more thoroughly, I was however typing on my Kindle so I try to keep everything as short as possible, I was hoping that even if it wasnt on the list that somehow, it would still run thru the 3dtv play set up and allow me to use the program "adjust sliders and such." Really I am not super concerned with them support/ not supporting my tv, I was just hoping that the program, regardless of the support, would run. I am starting to think that there may be alternative progs after beginning research and seeing how far and wide the 3d scope extends. Unless Nvidia is typically quick with adding driver support, then I may just wait. I do believe however that I have just now hit the learning curve and can move forward in work a rounds, I really dislike needing to do that, but the idea of waiting after going and getting a new card sorta sucks. Thank you all for the assistance, any forums/articles youd recommend now that I fully understand the concept? What is everyone using for cards?

Nvidia can add Display support in between Driver releases with mini updates, and has done so in the past But you might have to wait for a Beta or Official driver release to get support. Umm what exactly are you looking for? Are you planning to game? BTW, Nvidia does not have sliders. Depth and Convergence are adjusted with hot keys.

Oh nice, yeah gaming was the hope, and I intend on going and getting an I7 in a few months so this was more to tie me over until I could afford to drop a few thousand. From what I have read the gtx660 is aight for gaming? I will prolly end up with a comp like eqzitara's in a few months, man those specs sound like one sexy machine. Granted I dont know a game out there in single monitor mode, with 3d and enb mods that would make that comp struggle, but itd be nice to have.
