Dear NVIDIA,

all TVs with HDMI 1.4a support 3D content at 1080i/60Hz. Would it be an option to add this resolution to 3DTV Play for gaming purposes? Is that already planned?

I know that 1080i/60Hz is intended to be used for 3D TV broadcast content, but why not using it for 3D gaming, too? It is ridiculous that on a 23 inch PC monitor I could play 3D games in full hd while 3DTV Play on a 50 inch TV is limited to 720p/60Hz (or 1080p/24Hz which is not really good for gaming)

So any word for release of 3d Tv Play? I just swapped my Ati card to Nvidia for this reason only. Now I need this to take full advantage.

I agree with 1080p @60hz. If it can be done it should. I dont see why this has taken so long..... Given that nvidia have already done the hard stuff with 3d vision. All they have to do is put an output signal with framepacking and let the tv do the rest.....

When oh when will you release it?

Regrettably 1080p(rogressive) @60hz is not part of the HDMI 1.4a 3D specifications, but 1080i(nterlaced) @60hz and @50hz is. Why not using it for 3D gaming, NVIDIA?

Surely interlaced 3d would cause artifacts, when turning there would be a jagged edge on straight lines.
