Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit - Does it run well in 3D?
  1 / 3
The game itself looks awesome to me. I need to know how it does perform in 3D. If it runs well I will get it today, if not I won't.

Thanks in advance for sharing your impressions!

How about you take the plunge and buy it today and then let us know if it runs well in 3D so we can buy it /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

You're absolutely right! Just one thing:

By now I am so much impressed by the "S3D-thing" that for me the purchase of new games is totally down to their performance in S3D. So, if the game doesn't run well in S3D I won't buy it.

I know that there are many peeps out there who also appreciate a game that runs well in S3D but their purchase-decision is not really dependant on the S3D performance. So, if the game doesn't run that well in S3D they have no problem playing it in flat 2D instead. That is not an option for me. I wouldn't get this game if it doesn't run in S3D.

I'll wait with you then to see what others say about it. It's not out in the UK for another 3 days anyway so I have no choice but to wait. I'm expecting it to be pretty good with 3D vision though.

I`ve just tried it, runs good in 3D on a single GTX480, almost always steady 60 FPS. You just have to disable shadows, which are 2d. Game UI is in 3D also, and the game features stereoscopic trailer for NFS:Shift 2. Do you want to see some screenshots?

No, it doesn`t. You only have the "hood view" and "bumper view". Also, there is a lot of ghosting, and car indicators (like cop health bars or racers "1st". "2nd" etc.) also made in 2d, so i prefer to set depth to minimum. Screenshots attached:
