3D Monitor not detected, seen as generic 60hz monitor
Hello,
I recently bought the LG W2363D-PF monitor, which works absolutely fine, or at least it did until I needed to buy a longer cable for it. When using a DVI to DVI cable the 3D images came through instantly and it was automatically detected by the 3D Vision setup wizard, but I had to buy a new 5m DVI to HDMI cable for it to reach my tower position.
This is the one I bought: http://www.amazon.co.uk/3m-HDMI-DVI-Cable-Quality/dp/B0039OM818/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&m=AAXH2NA9P0RNV&s=generic&qid=1317833599&sr=1-3
Can 3D not be transmitted through this sort of cable, or do I just need to install additional drivers?

You can only use a Dual link DVI cable with 3d monitors.
And with longer ones than supplied it's often a crap shoot as to whether they will work, you'll usually either get nothing above 60Hz or resolutions above 60Hz will show artifacts (usually looks like the horizontal resolution is halved).
