78.01: Bluish Fog When Rendering Screenshot included.
Yeah, so, I'm getting this fog when I try to play Neverwinter Nights.

[attachment=1351:attachment]

This only happens when the game is running and trying to move objects. When I pause the game and go out of the window and come back again, the paused image is in great 3D. Unpausing the game again, however, brings back the fog.

The fog is only visible through the blue side of the glasses.

Has anyone had experience with the same sort of issue?

Hello again,

I ws going to sugegst tyingot use the 3D glasses setting instead of anaglyph. See if it resolves the issue.

If it does, you can get good 3D glasses on eBay for around $15.

If I didn't know any better, I would say that you were runing low on texture memory. I remember this happening with tomb raider 2 and a matrox mistique... this was about 8 years ago :)

Is the MX440 integrated AGP or PCI?

If its AGP, then go into the bios and set your AGP aperature size to 128MB, or the largest memory size you have on your system... if the option is there.

I've got the PCI version of the 420. My computer's not very high end (the video card's probably the fanciest thing in it)... max monitor refresh rate is only 60. Are there any good 3D glasses that would work under that limitation?

If it works in anaglyph, it should definately work with shutter glasses.

Check to see if you see a double image on the screen in the games which you want to play. If you do then it will work.

Check t see if the "fog" is still there.
