Quadro 5000 & 3D Vision 2/VG278h I want to upgrade glasses/monitor, and keep my card
I currently use a Quadro 5000 with 3D Vision. I have no troubles, or problems with functionality. Everything has been working fine for about 2 years. My glasses are still fine. I am still using the Samsung 2233RZ 22" monitor.

I have been watching intently, and almost hit the go button on the Acer 27" display with a built in emitter and glasses. But now the new 3D Vision 2 setup looks pretty good too. I watched the video where the monitor and 3D Vision 2 were discussed in a lot of detail.

Unfortunately (don't laugh), I am part of the +\-5% of 3D Vision users that don't play video games. I use this in my quad buffered OpenGL stereoscopic GIS work. If I could find the time to game I would, and nothing against games...

My questions are:
Can I just purchase the ASUS VG278 when it comes out and have a smooth upgrade from the desktop emitter to the built in with new glasses?
Is there going to be a 3D Vision Pro 2 (even though I probably wouldn't spend on it)?
Does the Quadro 3800m mobile card work with 3D Vision 2?

Thanks in advance for anyone who wants to tackle this.
