Be sure to test our feed and keep checking since we expect a real Masters 3D test stream to be online soon!
Thanks Andrew I'm looking forward to this. That link wasn't active earlier even though it was promoted on the Masters web site so I'm glad it is working now. . .I think I am ready after checking out Bloody's wonderful blog but I will double check with the official source.
Everyone might want to note they are claiming you need a 10 mbit connection for this, which luckily I just got cable internet or I would be short of internet bandwidth.

I checked the test stream, it works but it seems the bandwidth between the Nvidia server and my home (Montpellier, France) is insufficient.
I hope the masters broadcast servers will be able to cope with the bandwidth.
Hi I tried the play the test link and it makes the NVIDIA 3D Vision Video Player crash. It buffers really quickly to about 80% then it crashes and turns greyish white, I get the Vista error message. Something about Fault Module Name: wmvdecod.dll. I am running Vista 64bit and have the latest drivers and satisfy the internet requirements and such.

I have 20mbit cable and the test stream played horribly. Terrible stuttering, and stopping while it was buffering for 5-10 seconds a pop. Ran speedtest like it said and got a 25mbit result. Here's hoping my route to the masters' servers is less bogged down than the one to nvidia.

Just saw an email for this and tried it out, still clunky, not ready for mass consumption. I just get a blackscreen lockup and no video stream with the test pattern url. Hopefully these problems get worked out before the Masters or this will just be an exercise in frustration for many.
Also, since it wasn't linked anywhere on the Nvidia or Masters 3D pages, you'll need to update your Stereoscopic 3D Player to get the "Open URL" option: http://www.nvidia.com/content/DriverDownlo...&type=Other
Added a snip of the exact error message after letting the player run its course while unresponsive/locked up:

Try copying the link to the test URL and make sure you dont have any spaces at the end. That's what the message looks like to me.

Hi
Also, did you check our 3D Vision Masters website? That was linked from the Blog and detailed the software to download along with the instructions for viewing.

This is really cool, but am I in the minority that I'm going to be at work for the majority of these broadcasts? In the age of on-demand streaming video this is fairly cruel.

Somewhere it was stated that the streams would be repeated throughout the day. My guess is that some of us may be watching "repeats" if their servers can't handle the load.

That's great the Nvidia page gives you links to find the extra glasses for all the extra viewers we might have if this 3D live event thing catches on, but we are back to everybody being out of stock. Seems like that is an issue that needs to get fixed this year.

Same here, lots of stuttering, sometimes it would run fine. GTX 275 so I don't think it is my rig. My cable connection tests between 10-12mbit.

its pretty cool- adds more of a depth feel to tv- however i did not see any pop out effects. it is less pleasing than in game 3d playing.
ill check out the masters....

Somewhere it was stated that the streams would be repeated throughout the day. My guess is that some of us may be watching "repeats" if their servers can't handle the load.
