3DTV Play and Tridef questions
Hello!

I'm currently running an AMD GPU and am really tempted to get a GTX 670 instead. I have my LED 3DTV connected to my PC and i'm currently running Tridef in Frame Packing 3D mode as i really don't like Side by Side 3D. Now for my questions:

1. Do you guys know how to run Tridef in Frame Packing mode using a GTX ***?
Have you any experience using Nvidia hardware and Tridef at all?

2. My second option would be to get 3DTV Play but i've heard compatibility with games is not as great as with Tridef. Can you please comment on the compatibility with 3DTV Play and the following games:

Condemned(same engine as F.E.A.R.)
Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
Doom 3
Silent Hill 2 & 3
Silent Hill Homecoming
Fallout 3 & Vegas
Alice: Madness Returns
Half Life: Orange Box

Thanks!

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines - FIXED here... http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2012/03/vampire-masquerade-bloodlines.html

Doom 3

Silent Hill 2 & 3

Silent Hill Homecoming

Fallout 3 -FIXED here... http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2012/03/fallout-3.html

Fallout 3 New Vegas -FIXED here... http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2012/03/fallout-new-vegas.html

Alice: Madness Returns -FIXED here... http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2012/02/alice-madness-returns-written-by-chiz.html

Half Life: Orange Box -Has an "excellent" rating in the 3D Vision panel but I have not tried it. We don't really trust those ratings anymore.

I dont't know about the rest. But they are easily fixed on Nvidia by using those Helix tools. We have more control over fixing games for 3D Vision than the AMD community has right now. And it's not hard to do with help from forums.

That sounds great, thanks! Would you say 3DTV Play is the better option for playing games in 3D, with todays community support?

As i understand it you choose the game you want to play in the Nvidia/3DTV Play control panel. If the game is not on the list(Condemned for example), am i free to try and run it in 3D anyway? Or do i then have to try and fix it with these Helix Tools?

"Would you say 3DTV Play is the better option for playing games in 3D"

Yes, but I have not tried any other stereoscopic gaming solution.

Yes

Only if you see issues that keep you from enjoying the game in 3D. Bring those issues up here and they will get attention.

Oh, i forgot to ask. My TV(Toshiba 55WL863) is not on the list of supported displays, but a Toshiba 55WL768 is. Do you think my TV will work fine?

I have also mailed Nvidia Support about this.

Yes, that is the French version of the Toshiba 55WL768. I am 99% sure it will work fine without any modifications.
