Just got a 3DTV, and it seemed natural to try to connect my gamin PC to it. It's been a learning experience in the intricacies of the GTX295 and Quad-SLI.
It's a known issue that the HDMI ports will not work in Quad-SLI mode. So I had to use a DVI --> HDMI cable to get the display to work in any way.
I downloaded the 3DTV Play trial software, but I'm not getting any additional options in the nVidia control panel. I suspect it's because I'm not using an HDMI 1.4a connection, since that port won't work for my setup.
I've come to the conclusion that I would have to do one of the following to get 3D working:
1) Pull out one of the GTX 295 cards, take a huge performance hit (especially with 3D enabled), and get the HDMI port working
2) Ditch the 295s and get a cars/card(s) where the HDMI implementation isn't broken.
Am I missing something? Or am I really screwed for 3D with this quad-SLI setup?

You don't need HDMI 1.4a cords for 3DTV Play to work. HDMI 1.3a is just fine.
There is no issue with GTX 295 or QUAD SLI or Dual-GPU cards here. I have those and 590's in another machine, and they all work fine in 3D: 3D Vision or 3DTV Play.
If you're not getting the 3DTV Play logo in the Control Panel, it's more likely that your display is not supported or needs to be added to 3DTV Play if it's an HDMI 1.4a device.
