No 3D crosshair in WoW and other games?
I figured WoW would work like CoD4, TF2, L4D and many other big name games and automatically replace the cursor with a 3D one but it didn't. Is this just Vista 64? WoW's settings say if you turn off the hardware cursor the 3D cursor should work but I still have to aim between two cursors to click on enemies (it's at monitor level).

Or maybe there's something I did wrong? WoW's not the only game. Pressing ctrl+F12 gives the red crosshair in the middle but that doesn't really work out in WoW....

After further investigation I've found out that the hardare cursor keeps selecting itself every time I start WoW, even if I uncheck it and apply the settings. I suppose that's what's stopping the 3D cursor but I wish I knew what was causing the hardware cursor to activate itself :(

WOW had a great 3d curser...the best of all the MMORPG's but after the last patch it quit being 3D. Blizzard has been contacted by several of us and they won't acknowlege anything. Perhaps it will return in the future.

Awww damn I wonder what gives. I'm relieved that it's not something I screwed up at least but equally bummed that there are now two separate companies which I am waiting to release a fix for something 3D related. Nvidia for the Vista 64 problems, and now Blizzard -_-

Thanks so much though, at least I'm not in the dark anymore and that's always better than nothing :)
