Call of Duty: Black Ops Blurry Half Screen Issue on 3DTV Play
Dying to play cod on my 3DTV, although I keep getting the half blurry screen issue with the iron sights, I have been away on holiday for a week and so am out of touch with any latest news. Any progress on this front?

Many thanks,

Ed

Well budy, I would say that at this moment COD Black Ops might work better with 3DTV Play despite of this half screen blur issue compared to playing it in a 120hz display. I haven't tried Black Ops with 3DTV Play yet, so I'm not sure if the issue caused by a crapty steam update has also affected Black Ops gameplay with 3DTV Play? It's now unplayable with 3D Vision due to a broken crosshair issue. A shame, there's nothing else to say about this. I was having fun playing this game in 3D, but now I can't play anymore. Please give it try with 3DTV Play and let me know if the crosshair is working fine or flickering and messed up? I assume you have Steam version, if your version is box or "alternative", than it should be Ok unless you have updated the game with it's latest piece of crap patch.

No fix for this yet. It's coming in the next major driver update which I suspect will be very soon.

Issue resolved with the Beta Drivers. Check out this video of Nazi Zombies, Full resolution with both the Ray Gun and the Thunder Gun, Zombies and Dogs... Awesome.

I have this problem with both CoD: Black Ops and Dead Space. THe problem for me was with a compatability between the nvidia drivers and those games and having to run them at 720p. If I switch my resolution to 1080p the problem goes away. This problem occured in both standard 2D and 3D and obviously couldn't run it at 1080p with 3D anyway.

Only fix I found was to use TriDef instead. Lets me run the game at 1080p @60 hz with no problems, looks great too. Maybe I will download the new nvidia drivers (Beta) that everyone is chatting about and see if it fixes it for me.

Update: The new Nvidia beta drivers v1.44 (i think) work great now with COD no more top half of screen crap at 720p...yea!
