3D Vision 2 extremely laggy, 5-10 fps
Hey Guys I've got a 4930k, sabertooth board, two 780TIs on water, all the fixings. My 3d vision is extremely laggy. I was playing Crysis 3 the other day and 3d was working great. Alt tabbed out and back in to the game and all of a sudden everything was very laggy, extremely low framerates, 5-10, absolutely unplayable. I restarted my computer and it worked fine, that was the last time it worked. Ever since then I've been having the 5-10 fps issue regardless of the game and whether or not I'm using 1 GPU or SLI. I've tried reinstalling drivers to no avail, I can't figure out what could be wrong. I've tried several different games and they all react the exact same way. VG248QE monitor, 3d vision 2, Any ideas? Everything works absolutely flawlessly when 3d isn't enabled. Thanks.

Take this: http://www.guru3d.com/files_details/display_driver_uninstaller_download.html Purge your system of any nvidia drivers and software. Re-install drivers. (and software like PhysX and 3D Vision Player, Geforce Experience, etc if you are using them) If it worked and stop working is 100% a driver thingy.

Hey, I appreciate the quick reply. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. Used the driver cleaner you linked, reinstalled everything, works perfectly up until the point that I launch a game, then 3d again runs terribly. Switch back to 2d and everything is beautiful, no issues.

Sounds like you're probably running Windows 8.1. You'll need to roll back to 8.

Figured it out. It was "RzOvlMon.exe" causing my problem. It runs as a service named 'Razer Overlay Subsystem Emergency Service' (RzOvlMon) and it's part of the "Razer Core" application, as opposed to "Razer Synapse 2.0." I think it stuck around after a firmware update, removed the program and all is well. Thanks for the help.

I'll add quickly, be careful removing Razer Core. After restarting my computer my keyboard/mouse didn't work, I had to do a system restore and then get rid of the filter drivers left regarding the keyboard and mouse.
