300 series driveres: where are the game specific 3D registry settings? Something changed from previo
I'd like to ask where I can find the "game specific" 3D registry settings with the new drivers.
I usually play with convergence and save the profile. If desired, a simple delete of the registry entry fixed everything: I just had to load the game again to automatically recreate the entry and revert to default settings.
That's an example of the old setting.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\Stereo3D\GameConfigs\ShippingPC-BmGame]
"StereoMemoEnabled"=dword:00000000
"StereoConvergence"=dword:430d4848
"Time"=dword:4a7c5ef1
Now the trick doesn't work.
If I delete the whole entry nothing it's re-created (and the game is unaffected too).
So, has anyone idea where are the settings stored now?

Have you tried searching the registry for "ShippingPC- BmGame"? Or try searching your PC - they might have it in a file now.
I'm not sure why you would want to do this, though. If the default settings are bad and your current settings are bad, what's the difference? Either way, you have to play with the settings more to fix them.

Anything in the registry is from the old drivers, the newer games are listed in NVSTRES.DLL under RC Data.
You can see a begin game name and an end game name, then in between the name of the game and a description. But not all of them are in there which means they are probably in another DLL somewhere. Pretty sure this is the way they are listed though.

Actually, the settings you define yourself, and save with ctrl+F7, have until now always been stored in the registry. Don't know where they are stored now. Does anyone else know?

I had the same question and I allready did a research on this. You can find the settings in the standard NV-game-profiles. Nvidia-Inspector is a great tool for editing them.
