Bioshock Infinite

It may be only half resolution, but it still looks decent, and it's far better than 2d.

To each his own, but for me Bioshock Infinite on tridef using SBS 3d is a million times better than 2d, I've played dozens of games with 3d vision and still I can tell you it looks really good. The only thing Im missing though is higher convergence, but it still looks great. If you want a horrible low res 3d experience though, try killzone 3 in 3d, I couldnt stand it for more than 15 minutes last weekend and I swear I tried, I think Sony killed 3d gaming with this, and the same goes for uncharted 3 btw thanks eqzitara about the depth of field thing with sweetfx, I will try it again with that in mind

Just completed this game. Wow. Simply amazing. For anyone waiting for Half Life 3, this is almost certainly your kind of game! To be honest, as much of a HL fan that I am, this game surpasses it in so many ways (including, as far as I can tell) a plot that makes sense, with a beginning a middle and an end. Anyway, for people on the fence, just buy it and support this wonderful work. It's not a 'game' in the normal sense, it is more of a movie / story, interactive art piece all tucked up within a shooter. Why this got 9/10 via gamespot, or even 8/10 via a few smaller publications is beside me. It was refreshingly different and one of the better sci-fi plots I have experienced(and I watch, play, read a lot of sci-fi). It is perfect for what it is, and even if it's not everyone's cup of tea, it doesn't deserve anything less than being respected for the great work of art it is. For you guys that got the 3D working, I really am quite envious. I really hope at some point it is fixed to be able to be played on NVidia 3D, as I will be back straight into Columbia to spend a few more minutes with the best female protagonist I have seen in a game yet (have not played newest TR, so don't shoot me) and one of the finest bit of game story telling that is available. P.S. for any guys who love open world, open ended, multiple threads games like fallout or The Elder Scrolls, you will find much to dislike about Infinite. It is incredibly linear, with plenty of scripted events. All of this though, unlike imo Bethetha games, works to tell an amazing story at an amazing pace without lots of faf slowing it all down. Simply put... Buy it ;-)

@Daragorn, Im not sure if those option are stored in the profile (any profile), but you can open the OSD by pressing "Num 0" http://www.tridef.com/user-guide/in-game-settings and navigate to 3D menu and Profile Menu to change values. I made an update to the profile, now i push the HUD and target icons a little deeper. https://s3.amazonaws.com/dhr/BioShock+Infinite+(DHR)_v2.TriDefGame

DHR, I saw those settings before and I got them like that except disabling the gun and sky focus since I couldn't find them in the OSD, I'll look further for them and hopefully it will add a bit more of convergence, though if not I'm perfectly happy as it is. The thing is I tried auto focus at the beginning of the game and it gave a huge convergence boost, even too much, but I don't seem to be able to replicate it no matter what I tweak.

Well, with TriDef it might be half horizontal resolution (I use 3DTVPlay @ 1280x720 anyway), but 960x1080@60hz with everything set at max (except dynamic shadows off) still looks great on my 46incher. Funny thing about dynamic shadows, as you still see shadows being cast on elizabeths face for example. The world looks fantastic in 3D, especially when travelling on the skyrails. Thanks to DHR's modified Tridef profile, I am having a blast. I was going to skip this title until I saw DHR's posts, so cheers again.

Hi, I'm a Trdef noob. I have a 3D TV (shutterglasses) and 2 GTX680's in SLI. Can I play BI on my TV if I disable SLI?

@Schmeltzer, like birthright says...if your 3DTV support SBS you're ready to go. I dont have SLI, but if you have issues with tridef, better disable in NV Control Panel.

@DHR, @birthright, Ok, thanks! So now I have to make a tough call: play it in surround, or play in 3D on my 47" TV. Really difficult one ;-)

TriDef cannot use it, but you do not have to disable it. Bioshock infinite runs perfectly smooth for me even without SLI.
