Ah so b03b won't be looking into this after all or is this just a temporary fix until the official one? If you are somewhat observant and want to get SOME (not all) of the collectibles as you come by them yet not go looking for them then I'd say around 11-13 hours. Just to clarify, I won't be looking at this one, either DJ-RK and/or Mike_ar69 are looking at it. I'm helping out only by testing and fixing problems with 3Dmigoto itself.
Ah so b03b won't be looking into this after all or is this just a temporary fix until the official one?
Bo3b mostly doesn't look at fixind a game directly. (Pardon me if I am mistaken). He is one of the core developers of 3DMigoto (meaning developing the tools so others can fix games). The method I posted is just an alternative and has nothing to do with the Geometry 3D fix Mike and DJ-RK are looking into... I am actually amazed no one posted a CM profile so far... If people (who are using 3D Vision) want this tech to last more longer, they should STOP getting things for granted and START learning and looking into it (more than "Hey... there's a fix on HelixMob, let me just copy the files over..."). So far I've seen a few, actively contributing, while the rest are just "devouring"... THIS IS NOT WHAT A COMMUNITY IS ABOUT! A community is about sharing AND EVERYONE getting involved! (And please, no more "I'm not a developer" excuse... You don't need to be a developer to understand some things, as some of the fixers can clearly say! "You" are just lazy and prefer NOT TO DO anything about it! I apologise to the people this doesn't apply!) I am sorry if this came out so harsh! It is only meant to stimulate people, to take a pause and THINK how much they love 3D Vision and how much they are willing to share with everyone else! And if they are willing to get involved more than just "using" the fixes we make! ^_^

@helifax I can understand what are u saying, but excusse me some other thinking. One doctor is one doctor... To a car mechannic is really easy to fix one motor, but i doubt he understand nothing about organic items. (Anyway he uses one organic bodie). In my opinion, i know many people absolutely noob about software, (even word or notepads), but i understand they can enjoy 3D gaming, why not.. Maybe one of this people are really brilliant on a psichiatrist themes and someday they can help u in a psiquiatric forums.. hwo knows.... Maybe the firefighter who saves ur live yesterday, when ur house burns, plays 3d gaming 30 minuts a day everynights.. u really think this is a lazy man becouse he uses ur fixes? But i think u must understand diversity , and enjoy what u know and what u do. if u enjoy what u are doing, then maybe u can be more comprensive. im not trying to be rude , sorry if i mean that way, but im also not a good english speaker.. Anyway this is a Nvidia forum , after all, and is normal people comes here looking for answers about this tech.

Is not rocket science you know! Based on what you are saying is that if a person is a doctor, for example, he shouldn't care how a car works or what are the parts that make a car since we have mechanics right? This is just ignorance... A doctor, or any person, should at least have the common knowledge of how a car engine works or how a car works in general. The mechanic is the one that is an expert and will do the actual work but a little common knowledge will help you a long run. Same thing here :)

You both make very good point's. Speaking from someone who has made an attempt to get into this with a small amount of success and a bunch of unfinished fixes and who has a Software development studio and IT background. I can tell you it hasn't been much help. =) As I have mentioned before, the main hurdle for me is actually finding the material I need at a certain point to resolve a problem I am having with looking into a fix. There are threads on this board in regards to 3Dmigoto which I am certain hold the info might need at any juncture, but they are 100's of pages long with people asking all different questions to different games, and it can be very taxing and confusing to try sort through it all, in this discussion based system. I wish there was just a simple step by step out there focusing on a game with a lot of common problems for 3dmigoto which details the process made with some commentary. B03b's original wiki for shader hacking school was a big help with the general concepts and Helix code but I seemed to stumble into learning it at a time where a transition to dx11 was occurring for the most part, and it seems most of the games I am interested in now are dx11 titles. Recently Dj-Rk was a big help with showing me the basics of pushing hud elements into depth, and he laid it out in a very quick and concise manner which I was able to pick up pretty fast but I ended up coming across other issues in terms of capturing a certain shader and then the wrapper itself crashing the game I was looking at in dx11. Basically I can generally get 3dmigoto configured, hooked in and capturing shaders, and configuring the config file, and some arbitrary fixes, but I inevitable get stuck on dealing with the actual shader code somewhere, and generally don't know where to start to find a solutuon other than annoying someone here on the board. I have even seen Flugan make similar comments at some point, about the actual shader hacking side, and he has been instrumental in core parts of some of the fixes we have. but I don't think he has actually fixed any actual shader code or released a fix (sorry if I am wrong) I understand this sort of documentation is very time consuming and tedious work. (I have had to do my own fair share of it, in my time.) But I can see this would be a big barrier for people intimated by this sort of thing to dip their toes in, and I think this is the main reason their so many devourers and few "doctors". Hope we aren't derailing things to much here, just my 2 cent's.

I would very much like to contribute with more fixes, so far I have made 2 of them, with help from DSS and 4everAwake - Thanks ! But I have several unfinished fixes here, and I agree to necropants, it's very frustrating to search for - and allmost impossible to find some solutions, and therefore I have been asking for help ! But we all know to well that it requires a certain degree of knowlegde to ask the "right" questions. And soon I fell I'm just being tiresome and pestering, so I just choose to let it go ! If we just had an updated WIKI for fixing DX11 games, it would be awesome ! But this is allso a very time consuming task I know ! Many of us are NOT lazy but merely ignorants :)

Agree with the ease of use part too. Since you worked for Phillips, i wanted to ask you what you think of combining the hardware(chips and other electronics) from a 1080p 3D Vision monitor or regular 1080p monitor with the screen of a 46" or higher 3DTV. Do you think this could work? I've been wanting try this but don't know where to start. I remember swapping out a cracked LCD screen on my Dell 30" monitor and i always wondered, "what if i could plug in a different screen to this hardware?".

As I have mentioned before, the main hurdle for me is actually finding the material I need at a certain point to resolve a problem I am having with looking into a fix. There are threads on this board in regards to 3Dmigoto which I am certain hold the info might need at any juncture, but they are 100's of pages long with people asking all different questions to different games, and it can be very taxing and confusing to try sort through it all, in this discussion based system.
Having the luxury of time last year, I was able to read through the entirety of the 2 threads of bo3b's shaderhacking school and the 3DMigoto threads, and I bookmarked a ton of posts that were actually useful. Here's a file you can import for all of those. Happy learning! :) (don't forget to remove the .jpg at the end of the file.
Thank you! I looked a bit trough then list, very useful. I have to say tough for someone that is not familiar to programming/code this is mostly gibberish and has to be learned mechanically. I tried to get familiar with it to try and fix BO3 but it really was a struggle and I realized that if others with knowledge and experience cannot find a solution certainly I couldn't.

Did anyone do anything different to usual to get 3d compatibility mode working? I followed the usually steps helifax showed in his vids and used his settings but 3d doesn't turn on when I try and load up the game. edit: Reinstalled my drivers and redid the steps and it is working again.

Can't wait for a 3D fix. Just got an OC'd water cooled GTX1080, but I am patient. @helifax take all the time off you need, to recharge the batteries and get things sorted, no rush.
