Give Me Power uses a remote desktop privilege access hack, it will work with XP up to 8.1
What is GiveMePower?
GiveMePower (GMP) is a tool that will give you "System Level" privilege for the application you will open with it.
"System Level" privilege are similar to "Root" under Linux system.
It has all the power of the "administrator" account and the advantage that most files / registry keys / etc... on our system already have full control for system account and by so, does not required us to take ownership/ modifying permission like we would have to do with a normal admin account.
The biggest advantage of "GMP" is that it give you access to almost everything without the need to modify the permission / ownership of the object you try to see / modify.
You can see the effect of this by looking at Task Manager in windows. You will see that the application you opened with GMP is running with the user name "System".
DDU (for example) is using the same technique to clean systems of drivers.
Typical usage :
-Can help installing a driver that have permission access/denied problem.
-Accessing previously inaccessible registry region with "regedit".
-System files edit.
-Anything you think of that required higher privileges.
GMP is a powerful and dangerous utility. It should only be used by users who known what they are doing.
Some application were not made to have this kind of system privilege and may do react unexpectedly; so be careful.
Here is a simple test to show you a bit of what it can do:
-Open "regedit" (With an Admin account) and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SECURITY.
It should be empty.
-Now close "regedit"
-Reopen it with GMP and go to the same key.
You will now see that it has subkeys and you can access them.
This Impossible with Admin account only without modifying permission / taking ownership etc...
Requirements:
-.NetFramework 2.0 or higher
-Supports Windows XP up to Windows 8.1
-32/64 bit support

Im saying that when i read the Read Me file, its seems a little ambiguous. "Put the rest of the files next to the .exe folder". And also, i still cant find a Install file while i look in WinRAR. Sorry for the hassle.

There is no "install.bat" Cake. The Cake is a lie:) :P
Just paste them next to the javaw.exe file that is used by Minecraft.

From the Readme.txt file:
- This patch requires Java x64 to be installed on the PC. (Default location where it is installed is: "C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin" or "Minecraft\runtime\jre\version\bin")
It depends on what version of Minecraft you are using. For the latest one you will find the javaw.exe in the second path specified;))
Now that I think about it...it might be a bit ambiguous :( (I got so used to people using HelixMods and I believed anyone knows how to install a 3D Vision Mod:) )

How if i was using 1.8.1 and not 1.8.7. Would that make a difference?

Ok, I know what I can do;)) Since is working on my Machine.. I can give you the Nvidia Profile and you can try to import it with Nvidia Inspector and see if that works out;)
Attached to this post (remove the .jps and use nvInspector to import the profile. Start the game normally)
Let me know if it will work now:)
This worked, after I wiped my PC and started again. But even as an admin I had to install it manually with NVidia inspector running as admin.
Now the problem is when I try to run the SEUS pack converter it complains MSVCP120.DLL is missing from my system. Is there a C redist that needs installing? I've tried dumping the DLL from your fix archive in the directory with the converter, no dice.
*edit*
Yes, x86 2013.
*edit the second*
Is all working now, when I use optifine the game won't load so I am not using it.

Ok I have one last issue (I think) the water shader seems to be broken, I am using the SUES pack after running the converter tool.
*edit* problem went away by itself
Really glad that you managed to make it work;))
I will look some more as why the profile didn't get imported the 2nd time and see what happens.
Initially the wrappers came with an installer in which VS 2012 Redistributable packages were installed as well, but people didn't like the installer Idea:)) so swapped it to the Raw files.
Thanks again for the feedback;)
PS: Don't know what happened there with the water shaders but if now is working correctly that is good;))

Thanks for all the help :) Muchly appreciated. The root cause of the problem on my PC is that the web of inheritable permissions for users that is created was not moved backwards/across properly, basically leaving a pile of things orphaned with no owner and nothing with the rights to access it. It would have just gotten worse and worse over time.
But, keep in mind MS is getting pretty proactive about forcing things through the trusted installer user, and I cannot see that getting any less prevalent for 10.

Hey, everyone. I just got into this, and its been a struggle. I have my game set to 1.8 now, and even when I got back to my main (non shaders mod profile), I get this issue
but I'm getting two screens. , and my Nvidia 3d glasses don't seem to recognize the game either. Here is what it looks like.
