Any ideas why some of us (like Arni1984) are getting real bad performance when applying the patch? Wolf is playable with full details for me in 2D. In 3D, I get less than 3-4 FPS with all details set to low or disabled when possible...
Any suggestions what I could try? I played a lot with the Wolf video and nvidia CP driver settings without any success (Win7 64-bit, 337.88, GTX 780 Ti).
The patch works perfectly with Broken Age for me, haven't tried it yet on Rage.
Yes! And this despite the fact that I have is in the housing TITAN. In 1920x1080p in 2D - game keeps stable 60 FPS ...
With wrap FPS drops to 5-10 fps. Naturally, with such a low FPS - frames out of sync, it becomes much stronger.
Where is the "root of all evil"?
5-10fps is very very bad... Un-playable... Now why this happens...I have no freaking idea... Have you tried:
- setting the GPU to full performance plan in nvidia CP?
- Enable Shadowplay ?
- Change the refresh rate from 120 to 110 or 100 ?
I have no idea why this happens..I also tried to replicate this and I can't...game always works with 30fps.
ONE LAST THING you can try:
- rename opengl32.dll to something different
- go to %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\MachineGames\Wolfenstein The New Order\base and delete wolfConfig.cfg
- Start the game and set the video settings to medium.
- Exit the game and rename the dll file back to opengl32.dll and start the game
- DO you get the same bad performance?

At the moment for example I see I need two convergence profiles (for the sniper) as I can't hit anything with it:))

Can you do it, PLS?
P.S.: Big thx for your great work.
Added the ability to change the Convergence between NORMAL and a fixed one used for AIM (use this one ONLY when aiming as it breaks some other things - like scopes and such) by pressing F3.
- Re-download the fix
- Uninstall the previous version
- Install the new one.
PS: Also finished the game one time from start to end and I recommend it!!! in 2D or 3D (if you can manage the mentioned limitations)

Still don't finish.....but also recommend this game in 3D, nice game (is in my top list of first person shooter games). Thanks for the fix!!!!!
Also, if anyone is playing in a 3DTV with "Truemotion" features (like mine)....enable this feature, this help a lot to reduce the "out of sync" issue.
I'm getting a problem with the weapon select UI in Wolf. showing up only as a white square. My targeting reticule also vanishes randomly.
I've removed Wolf. from it's NVidia inspector profile and reinstalled the wrapper multiple times and still no joy.
Any ideas? I'm running 3D TV Play on my Acer H5360BD projector.

Yeah I tried the latest version, but now I cant even get the game to load with the wrapper installed, I get a crash to desktop before the intro vids can start. I disabled the vids and still crashes.
I've tried with SLI on and off, verified game cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the wrapper and the redist files, rebooted, and no joy.

It simply crashes or you get the OGL Window saying some error? It's funny since I haven't changed anything in the latest version compared to the previous release....
Edit: I double checked and the latest wrapper works in Surround / SLI / non-SLI. I can't test 3D TVPlay, but it should with it as well.

No error messages, just a silent crash back to the desktop.
I've also reinstalled the NVidia drivers and removed the game from the profile again and still crashes in the same way.
I can play it in 2D fine without the wrapper installed, so the game install itself seems to be fine and stable. I really have no idea what's causing the issue.

Hmm..
- Do you have Aferburner or Precision X running in the background ?
- Are you trying to run the game in window mode ?
These are the only reasons I could think of... that could make the game crash in the renderer init part..

Hello, I can't get any of the wrappers to work.
Amnesia the Dark Descent just gives 2 times the wrapper window but doesn't start the program.
Broken Age crashes just before the title screen and puts a memory dump in the program folder.
Wolfenstein does start but displays 2 screens side by side and doesn't activate 3D vision. This is really the only one that I am interested in. Also if I view the screenshots on the 3D Surround web-site they are always side by side - is that normal? Do you have any idea why nothing works?

Salutari, Octavian aka helifax. Craiova? :)
As many others, I thank you. So many games have truly realized their potential through your work.
However, RAGE x64 will not work ("Rage Tool Kit is not responding" if I use intro skip, otherwise black screen and activity / menu sound in the background). I have tried everything I could, based on your recommendations.
I have a GTX 780Ti with Win7 64, 337.88 driver, 3DTV PLAY on a BenQ projector (1280x720 @ 60hz). Rage x86 works fine (it even starts with the special wrapper window), but there is severe HUD/minimap/inventory corruption (minimap, item icons are just one-colour squares/circle). There are also elements that render wrongly (the sun/lens flare, various lights through walls etc.)
Edit: with the contents of the Shaders folder removed, the minimap and inventory objects are back, but nothing renders in the correct position (and the frame rate drops).
The game is breathtaking in 3D and I would really like to enjoy it to the fullest. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Again, thank you.
Mike

Hey Mike,
When I created this account (a while back I guess) I was in Craiova yes ^_^.
I will look at the x64 bit version for RAGE. It is possible I haven't put all the fixes I made on WOLF in that wrapper. (most likely as it seems to appear only on non-SLI systems).
Yes, some people reported that the x86 RAGE version doesn't work properly for them while for others it works (myself included). I have tried numerous times to replicate those issue but wasn't successful :(
So far I have no idea why that happens to some people...
EDIT: Tested the x64 RAGE version of the wrapper (in both SLI and NON-SLI) and it worked for me in both modes...
So far RAGE is the only game that apparently behaves differently across PCs for some weird reason....
