FPP in vehicles it's a nice addition, but I don't think it brings much to this type of game. I'm all for immersion, but when I have 4-5 other cars attacking me from all directions it's not doable.
Regarding cross-eye, sharing 3D without the hardware is indeed the main attraction. I wish I could make movies as well, with the same quality as the photos, and 60 fps. That would be something indeed.

This was the main complain about previous Mad Max movie - that it was not enough car chases and that the car itself wasn`t part of his adventure later on. This game makes it real. The car is one of his weapons and the main story goes around its development.
When you finally get your car beefed up and your weapons on him then you`ll be looking for those other cars just to smash them to pieces.

You can make 3D movies using ShadowPlay that will run at 60 fps, 1080p. I think that as long as 3D is turned before you start recording, that the movie is recorded in 3D.
Sharing them is a bit harder, but you can post them to YouTube for cross eye viewing.

Hi everyone, I finally broke down and bought Mad Max. The fourth patch was released today and seems causing problems with 3d. Shadows are ok but some scenary elements (smoke, mountain, ...) appear in 2D.

I don't know where you donwload the fix, BUT the last update was made on Oct-22 in the blog.
Also be sure to use DOF = Normal and disable CM (aka Fake3D).

Just update the game (i read in my cell phone very fast...I thought you're refering to fix update) and the fix is working just fine.
Remember to use DOF = normal.
Any issue, please upload a screenshot...is easier to know what happens

In fact the game works wonderfully in 3D. I confused DOF and FOV. I don't know why :)
Besides, I didn't understand why I could not find the FOV option. Regardless, the game is terrible in 3D Vision.
Thank You!

That will be something on your end. I had the same issue.
Try this: go a little bit further outside and look into this cave, on that shadow. You`ll see that it ain`t broken anymore. Or keep walking inside and you catch the moment when it`s breaking down.
I`m guessing that there is a shader or visual effect we both using which is messing this up.
BTW: If you finished the game where is your bad ass equipment ?

Well, i did the shots 3 days ago but completed the game last night.
I have experienced the opposite of the effect you described (caused by view distance probably), some shadows are broken when away and then when closer they are properly displayed. But those are very very minor issues.
edit: Example and proof of gear (:
Look at the yellow valve, as i said very minor and it happens to fixed shaders in other games as well
