3D Vision Video Player - Worst application ever?
Sorry, I know this sounds like a blatant troll, but honestly I've never used a piece of software that's so awful. Design wise its barley up to the job of viewing 3D pictures, but what really puts it into a league of it's own is the constant crashes. I can't use the software for more than 10 seconds without getting some form of crash, lockup, corruption or combination of the three.

Anyone know of an alternative which isn't awful? (I'm aware of stereophotomaker, but I'm looking for a player).

Hm interesting. I've never had any of the issues you mention, there must be something wrong with the configuration of drivers,
settings, ect in your system if you're having problems like that. Possibly a hardware problem too who knows. The 3d Vision Video
Player has worked flawlessly for me since day 1.. I actually appreciate the simple interface. You could try using Stereoscopic Player
although it's basically the same as the 3d Vision Video Player. Arcsoft also has a solution out for playing back 3d content. :)

I also don't have any issue with the software. Truth be told, it is a re-branding of Stereoscopic Player found at http://www.3dtv.at/Downloads/Index_en.aspx . Try their newest version and see if the problems persist.
