I've still got the specs from that film, I presume they are polarized. I thought you had to be directly in front of the screen to view in 3D? I thought the film was amazing. Will it be released in 3D. Will my plasma be able to play it in 3D?

i liked it alot.
I watched in 3D in Brisbane, Australia and it was a REAL D cinema projector.
So Polaroid glasses yes, and i think you DONT have to be viewing straight on
to see the 3D properly.
Plasma with 3d....
Im not sure, but from wat Ive read it wont at this stage, unless you got the anaglyphic glasses.

I could not work out how the image was being displayed, and it looked as though any display would work, but i'm not sure though,

I think I read somewhere (probably Wikipedia) that it's "circularly polarised" rather than "linearly polarised" as you'd use normal polarising glasses with. So it keeps the stereo effect even if you rotate your head.

Yup, info was from : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real_D_Cinema
Images are circularly polarised- clockwise for right eye, anticlockwise for left.
So, unless I'm mistaken, it'd need a specialised screen.
Challenge: First person to figure out how to cheaply circularly polarise the image from a TFT so it can be watched using RealD glasses wins a beer or something!
