Surround headsets are actually normal headsets with built-in soundcard capable of mixing 5.1 sources to stereo surround. Only real surround headset that has more than 2 elements is Roccat Kave.
Have you thought of buying Sennheiser HD 555 or Grado SR60i, Zalman clip-on mic and Auzentech X-Fi Forte? That'd be MUCH better option.
Thanks for the ideas, I'll read some more reviews on the options you suggested. I do have a question though, do you own any of these and use them with the 3D Glasses? I ask because I was recommended the G35 also, but I am told that they are hard on your head with glasses on, so the 3D glasses will probably be worse.
Thanks again /turned.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':turned:' />

I use the logitech g35s and I don't stick the headphones on top of the glasses. I put the headphones on, then stick the glasses in between the band and my head, right over the earcup. Fits nice and comfortable and it just puts a slight forward tilt on the glasses but it's nothing you even notice. It doesn't affect the picture or anything.

I got razer carcharias, and you gotta put them on first and the glasses on second, otherwise they pinch the glasses frames to your head. Even putting the glasses on second - you're gonna max out at an hour or 1.5 hours without significant discomfort.
Too bad, great headphones for the price otherwise.

I wear Sennheiser HD485, normal glasses and 3D glasses. And all fit very well.
Certainly I look like a Bordelands character /woot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':woot:' />

Dude, you shouldn't have ignored my post. I've tried all kinds of high end headphones before, I have Sennheiser's and trust me, if you're wearing glasses, you want open ear headphones. Big closed ear headphones, while good and somewhat comfortable for music listening, suck for gaming. They're even worse for 3D gaming.
Honestly, that's why I always recommend the Ultrasone HFI-15G's to people that wear glasses while gaming. They're by far the best surround sound headphones around when it comes to how much they cost, how good they sound, and the size and design of the actual headphones themselves. Trust me, if you get them, you won't be disappointed. I have all kinds of great audiophile gear and I still prefer my HFI-15G's while I'm gaming with headphones, and there's a good reason for that.
