Lets make a list of best Nvidia games in 3d vision!

update on two games..
Batlestations pacific now works wih the new profile. Thanks Nvidia :) .. Nvidia profile says "not recommended" but to me it looks great. Anyone with an interest in naval games.. the battle at night at Savo island with gunflashes, lightening, water splashing up in your face, tracers flying out of the screen is a sight to be seen !! it has some issues with clouds and labels but it really doesnt bother me compared to the immersion it provides.
Transformers 2: revenge of the fallen plays great even though not yet supported by Nvidia profile.
3d gamer you are playing in 720p or 1080p? I have a similar rig with a gtx 295 and plan to play Mirrors edge on a samsung LCD.
Mirrors Edge has some ghosting problems due to lighty level design.
Warhammer AOR looks good but has some render problems at the sides.
Battleforge is the most impressive game for me yet.

Another vote for Prototype: S3D is seamless right out of the box, no renaming of exe necessary. Not sure why it's not working for some fellow gamers here but I'm not complaining /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> . I got it from Amazon - so it's not a digital download from steam, if that made a difference.
Empire: Total War demo (Steam): Amazing S3D effect on both water and land battle tutorials.

Hey guys,
I should have my 3d setup by the end of this month and was wondering what games are "must haves." Have to yet to use 3d vision so I would like something that will amaze me right off the bat(though everyone seems to be happy with most games :P). Didn't start a new thread b/c this already lists all of the best games, but I would like to know which games I should buy 1st. Will only be using games that are supported by Steam. Thanks in advance!

For an all around wow absolutely gorgegeous graphics and exceptional S3D effect game list it must includes Tomb Raider: Underworld as one of the very top. For an enchanting experience in a game world that bewitching you until the end, it must also include The witcher: Enhanced Edition. Prepare to say bye to your other loved ones for a month at least.

After playing the last few days in the Aion beta, I gotta tell you I think Aion gets my my vote for most beautiful game in 3d. /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I second that, Aion is very impressive. It also is very easy to tweak with Converge for an awesome 3d feeling. Another runner-up for me is Empire: TW.
Champions Online looks nifty with its cel-shaded engine in 3D, but they have some problems with lights/stars being in the front plane.

You know what else I find interesting about Aion? It has absolutely ZERO ghosting. Even objects like campfires & torches that you would normally expect to see a slight ghost image in any game are absolutely clear. I even messed around with the convergence by setting it way in one direction and then the other, and still no ghosting (the image got very unclear as the alignment was decidedly off, but it still showed no sign of ghosting). Again, I wonder if this could be due to the fact that Aion plays at a steady 60fps without variation?

From a list of 10/12 games i've tested so far, here is my list from the 3D vision perspective
Aion, Mass Effect and TombRaider:Underworld are perfect
Wow, Prototype, TestDriveUnlimited, Fallout3, TF2 and L4D are very good
ArmaII, FarCry2, The Hunter not worth playing with 3D vision on

Yes, I noticed that too. Not sure I would attribute it to the 60fps thing, I think it is more a result of using the right depth for most of the stuff that is rendered, but I'm not that expert into 3D vision :) Although I do think the "zero blinking" thing with AION is due to the 60 fps.
I do get some minor quirks with reflections in the water which seem to go both ways from objects (i.e. I get a "left" and "right" reflection and that makes things really blurry and shaky when looking at them with water as background) and with the character names and bars being in different planes of the screen somehow. Other than that, really beautiful game. I think it also makes a great showcase for 3D because the character models are so well done. NVIDIA should really pick this up officially.

Games rated "perfect":
Left4Dead, COD series, Far Cry 1, F.E.A.R, F.E.A.R P M, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Tomb Raider Underworld, Tomb Raider Legend, Portal, F.E.A.R 2
Games rated "good":
Flight Simulator X, Far Cry 2, Painkiller (bloom at wrong depth), Painkiller BOH, Gears of War
Games with lots of bugs/not recommended:
Crysis, Crysis Warhead, Painkiller Overdose, Bioshock
There are many games that would have been rated "perfect" if the "fog-shadow or double-image" bug was fixed (read my post about this particular bug ). Far Cry 2 is one of them. It looks so beautiful. Ghosting is part of the technology, so unless there's extreme contrast in the scene, it shouldn't affect it's rating. Games mostly affected by visual artifacts.

Overlord 2 is so god damn beautiful in 3D. It's not perfect but disabling shadows and bloom helps a lot. Also the cutscenes look amazing. There is a lot of pop out effect in this game unlike Left4Dead which has rarely any pop outs.
It is one of my most favorite games in 3D after tomb raider underworld.

I've noticed a lot of people recommend that as well - I finally got it and I have to say it is probably the best demonstration of how immersive 3D makes playing games. The part early on when the tentacle slides through the opening made me jump pretty good.
