I just bought a pair of 3D Vision glasses today and they work great except for one very annoying problem. I have a Mitsubishi WD-73735 DLP TV which has got what seems to be a very large over scan, enough that you completely lose the all of the window controls and the start bar at the bottom of the screen. Its an easy fix I just go to the Nvidia control panel and use the "Resize HDTV Desktop" and everything fits great. That is until I try to use my 3D vision glasses, and then they become more or less completely useless if I resize my desktop. It causes my resolution to become some oddball size and the 3D doesn't scale properly with it causing a horrible ghosting problem or in some cases the 3D won't work at all, but if I turn the resizing off they work perfect.
So my question is is there a way to either run my 3D Vision with the desktop resized or a way to automate the process of turning the resizing off when I start a game and turn it back on when I leave the game so I can still get to the start menu and/or the window controls?

Go back in this forum page 4 I believe and find DLP HOTFIX. This will make it so the overscan with mitsubishis is fixed where you can game at 1980 x 1080P with the whole screen in the picture!!!

Here also explains it in slight more detail it has to do with the 3D checkboard pattern following the resize of the desktop, what is happening is that the desktop will resize but the 3D checkerboard is not.
This was offered as a HOTFIX later as stated by 3D Gamer Ready.
Another easier TEMP fix is to play at 1440x992 or what ever the resolution is. this should autofit be inside the border or actually underscan a little

I am a Samsung DLP owner so this won't work for me :"> hopefully it works for you!![/quote]
You are my new best friend, that worked perfectly. I was debating sending the glasses back because of all the hoops i had to jump through on my set up to get it to work properly, but now I just start a game, enable the 3d mode on my TV and start playing.
Which leads me to my last question, any one here know of a quick button combo on the remote to enable the 3D mode on Mitsubishi TVs with out going all the way into the menu?
Any way thank you very much, you have made my day. And with that I am off to play some Burnout Paradise in 3D.
