Played the Just Cause 2 demo recently and liked it. But there are some annoying quirks in 3D Vision, like the scope of guns being doubled making it impossible to aim.
Can anybody tell me, if these problems still remain in the patched retail version of the game with the newest drivers?! I hope not, because the game is rated "3d Vision ready".
Other than that, the game is great in 3D Vision, but I am just tired of these reoccuring problems with aiming in shooter games.

The sniper scope is the only issue I've run into in the release version (I have the Steam version, so I assumed it's patched). Did you notice anything else?

So it is not solved yet? Bummer!
Gun turrets e.g. are also doubled, not quite "3D Vision ready" this game imo then, but still excellent of course. Thank you!

I don't remember any issues with gun turrets. What else?
If it's just the sniper rifle, let me give you a hint. the game is so over the top, summer blockbuster action movie oriented that you can snipe people with SMGs from a mile away in mid air. This simply makes the sniper rifle a gun with a very limited clip and it never gets used anyway.
The game is so good in 3D otherwise (waypoints, HUD, maps, etc...all the things even the other good 3D games manage to miss) I understand and completely agree with their rating. As far as I can remember, Batman (another 3D Vision Ready title) has absolutely no issues, yet I still use Just Cause 2 to show off 3D to friends instead of Batman. It's just that good.

I realize this is a dead post but the issue remains. To this day I can't use 3d vision playing any 1st person shooter unless I turn it all the way down from it being such a huge detriment to accuracy. Everything from call of duty to farcry 2. So... bump!

meh, doesnt bother me as much anymore. I just got used to aiming between sights over the last year i've had 3d vision. I do wish more developers would incorporate dynamic crosshairs. Just try and make due with the Nvidia crosshair for now. Though there are some games that it doesn't show up in...
