How about
Counter-Strike
Trials series from RedLynx (Ubisoft)
Anno 2070
Settlers 2 Anniversary
Team Fortress 2 (Think the major problem was broken water)
Nvidia crosshair is a bit hit and miss in Source engine.
Any shooter with crosshair at screen depth is pretty hard to deal with.
Last but not least unfixed games like
Natural Selection 2
The games that end up dominating game time tend to be the ones without any end.
In my experience most of these end up in 2D mode.

Diablo III, Survarium and STALKER series are the only 2D gamesi play nowdays.
In the past CS:Source, litle CS:GO and some unfixable for that time games.

Diablo 3 works amazing in 3Dvision, why would you play 2D?
(from what I remember you simply remove the .exe from the default profile, and set convergence so the mouse sits just over your characters head for a near perfect experience.)
CM mode is not ideal but it works pretty well in BO3 with the AC3 profile as well.

To be honest now if I try playing in 2D is like I cannot focus properly.
The only game I played in 2D recently was Resident evil Remastered. Which would be absolutely imposible to play in 3D.
Why do you play BO3 in 2D? It looks too good in CM and Power3D to be played in 2D.

Diablo 3 is allmost perfect in 3D !
From the Stalker series I have played "Call of Pripyat" with the Misery mod and it was flawless in 3D, and I don't recall any issues without the mod either...
Truly immersive, it's higly recomended !!

whoa- I really enjoyed the first stalker back in the 2d era, I was pretty sure none of the series worked in 3d. I have CoP but never played it. awesome to hear that it works, one more game for the 3d backlog.

Be sure to try it with the Misery mod, it's a total overhaul, and is easely installed..

This right here.
It's really weird I find it incredible hard to play certain games with a first or third person perspective in 2D now after being accustomed to 3d for so long. It's like My eyes cannot adjust correctly anymore.. I'm sure if I were forced to I would get used to it again, but I really don't want too....

I'm so used to playing half a meter from the screen yet looking out towards infinity that when I actually have to look at the screen my brain is like 'wtf is going on?'. I can do it, but I'd probably have to re-acclimatise myself to it if I wanted to spend a significant amount of time in flat 3D land. If the game was not rendered 3D at all that's a different matter - just the same as text on the screen in that case.

I'm sure everything was looking god/flawless with the Misery mod, but it was the first games I played in 3D, so I actually don't recall the settings...
But it was back in the days with a single GTX970, and Misery is quite demanding so maybe not every thing was on max.
What I do remember though, is that I was blown away by the imersion !
And without Misery, I must be honest I can't remember it !
Edit: chtiblue: Have you tried Misery ?
