I've finished the game, and I think I've found a much better fix for volumetric lighting. At the very least it seems perfect at 0 convergence and at any setting, resolution and FOV value. Then I used a very small convergence scaling. Edit: fixed formula for convergence, I think.
This is the formula for now (and surrounding lines of code):
mul r2.xyz, r2.xyzx, cb0[101].xyzx
//Fix here.
mul r20.w, r5.y, cb0[103].x
mul r20.w, r20.w, l(0.14504472974589682692062964192768)
div r20.w, r20.w, r1.z
mul r20.w, l(0.50), r20.w
div r20.w, r20.w, cb0[124].x
add r20.w, -cb0[123].x, r20.w
mul r20.w, -cb0[124].x, r20.w
mad r2.x, r5.x, r20.w, r2.x
iadd r1.w, r0.w, l(-1)
utof r1.w, r1.w
utof r2.w, cb0[98].z
I want to also fix some fog, which is 2D, so I'll experiment for a while before releasing the fix. Edit: and this was too easy. Simple stereoization in the VS.
@DJ-RK: I'm still not sure if I want you to modify your post or if I want to make mine for this update.

Ooook, 100% of clipping fixed. What I thought that was unnecessary in the clipping shaders actually helped, and I applied it now to both of them. I don't see any clipping left.
Remaining thing: decals. Just a few more hours and I'll release the fix :).

Here it is: https://s3.amazonaws.com/masterotaku/Quantum+Break/Quantum_Break_3D_Vision_fix.7z
@DJ-RK, add this extra information in the blog post:
Fixed
- Volumetric lighting (close to perfect).
- Screen space reflections.
- Lighting clipping.
- Fog that was in 2D.
- Electricity in the generator of some enemies, which was in 2D.
Hotkeys
F1: convergence presets.
F2: HUD depth presets, mostly for subtitles.
F3: depth of field toggle. Not disabled by default.
F4: motion blur toggle. Not disabled by default.
It's using 3Dmigoto 1.3.12.
Your hotkeys are still there, except for the F6 key (your manual volumetric lighting tweak), which is defined but not used, now that the fix doesn't need any manual tweaking depending on graphics settings.
I have disabled the F5 hotkey because it was pretty useless and it broke graphics.
Motion blur is now kept enabled by default.
Remember to mention that the fix has automatic low convergence for cutscenes ("[PresetCutscene]"), and that now all graphics settings are safe (I think).
About decals, I couldn't do anything about them. I'm out of ideas.
So this is it. I'm done with the game after 40 hours of playing + fixing, at least until I want to replay it with a much more powerful GPU (I'd need about 4x performance of a GTX 1080 to play at max settings at 1440p and get 60fps). This was a pretty blurry experience, but very fun :p.

Thank you :). I hope you'll enjoy replaying the game with what is fixed now.
Remember that I have updated the clipping compute shaders for my latest fix release, compared to the individual shaders I posted before.
Currently I'm playing Quantum Break with the helix fix through 3D manager. Just about everything is perfect, except some menu items and hud stuff, like the button images when picking up guns. Attached is an example.
https://photos.app.goo.gl/NW4uHhPWL5xm7qFw6
The button images are not only skewed but pop out way too much from the rest of the menu. Same thing happens throughout the game with certain things. Does anybody know how to fix things like this? Also want to mention the images weren't like this until I increased depth. Thanks!

That looks like the dynamic crosshair affecting some icons. I played the game months ago so I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's expected and a minor thing.
This fix is a candidate for a specular reflections improvement like I did in other games. But I don't know when I'll have time for this.

Thanks for the clarification. It doesn't really bother me that much tbh. The fix is amazing and thank you for creating it. Totally awesome. Must say, this game is dope in 3D! I play at 1440p locked at 30 and it's sweet!
