3d Monitor Advice
Hi guys,
I am new to this forum. I am buying a laptop with a 3dtv graphics card, and was wondering what the best monitor was at the best price. Looking for the biggest and best one that is currently available in the U.K. I have been looking at the ASUS VG236H for about £300. Has anyone had any experiences with this monitor? Also, how do you connect the laptop to the monitor, is it just simply plug in a HDMI cable to the laptop and connect it to the monitor?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Coolboy101.

All current 3D monitors (not 3dtvs though) connect by way of "dual link DVI" cable. No other cable type will allow you to play in 3D on that monitor. That is generally considered to either be the best or 2nd best (based on opinion) of all 3D monitors currently available. Most people put the alienware optx one 2nd or in some cases above that one. My preference is the ASUS one though.

It would be even nicer if ASUS would release the 27 inch one that was supposed to come out 7 months ago though...

It is now slated to be closer to March of this next year or even later.
