I can't get playable fps in this game in 2d or 3d surround. That and it crashes on startup every time and in failsafe mode 50% of the time. Only started behaving this way after 258.96 was removed for newer drivers.
[/quote]

I also can no longer play this game in 3DVision after 258.96 driver.
The 266.35 seems to give significantly better performances but crashes 1-2 min into game.
This is not temp related. I have even tried underclocking the GTX480s and still get same crash to desktop a few minutes into game or benchmark.

Are you using 270.51? I need to know exact details so I can file a bug.

Anyone else seeing much in the way of SLI scaling with this title?

Since my last reply, the performance seems to have got a lot worse again. It was really smooth and now it seems to have almost gone back to how it was before. Either I'm going mad or something really wierd is going on... I'm happy to entertain either notion!

gtx 460 x2 sli here with i7-940 with latest drivers 280.26..playing in 3d vision @ 1024x768...(3d projector native res..cant make much lower than that!!!) i do not measure the framerate but screen tearing is unbearable when looking around which is a shame for such a great game...i tried turning off motion blur, playing with vsync / triple buffering, i've got no AA at all!!!, and still the tearing happens...i almost have to turn all fancy stuff off and set all settings to low to get no tearing...unbelievable!!!all other gamese are working great with no tearing at all :BFBC2 High settings, Burnout Paradise, Black Ops, Tomb Raider Underworld, ... this is so bad! this game is gorgeous otherwise...

Just tried Just Cause 2 with 3D Vision at 1080 checkerboard and my first GPU is nearly 100% load and GPU 2 and 3 show only about 15% activity... what's up with that?

It's basically nearing the time that I have to ditch my GTX 280's.... that's the short answer.
