Ah, I should of probably mentioned it while it was still on sale.
Hangar R+D = Worth it [Hour and a half + good]
Code breakers = Not worth it [15 mins tops + doesn't really add to game]

Dudes!
I have to say that I am enjoying this game.
I am playing on the difficulty level where you have to heal the squadies or they blead out and die and I am finding it really tough! Veteran.
What squaddies do you take with you? I take the sniper because I like his one shot and the engineer because I want the turret when he levels.
Any tips?

Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

I used recon / support - veteran
engineer / support / - commander
Soldier I tried during the dlc. TBH he is the worst imo.
Engineer / recon you should not have to much of an issue. Don't push forward, find a good hunker down spot. Also don't sit on top of each other, you want at least one unit in between each other [I generally sit in the middle]. "Ai/squadmates bumping" is an issue when gernades come. I equipped my support/engineer with the skill to extend skill range which is great for engineer mines/turret. The recon is probably best with piercing armor / shields. Watch your engineers mine cooldowns. Keep dropping them. Since its your protection against enemies getting close and there is no limit. Save gernades for bosses, lift then chuck them so you have less worry about missing. If an oppurtunity shows itself don't be afraid to use a gernade. Try to follow it immediately with disperse because it does stun for a second and should prevent them from running just enough to have it explode on them.
Disperse[whatever the engineers ability is called] actually stuns a boss for a second as well so you can use that if lift is on cooldown.
Switch between turret / decoy never both at same time. Unless your using the long range turret. Then its okay.
Bosses generally head toward the most dps. So if you put mines and line them up towards you just make sure to do good dps so they come at you.

Its harder at beginning with engineer just cause hes got more late game potential. His early game is meh. Just got to watch that cooldown on mines.

That's a great bunch of tips. Cheers mate!
engineer / support / commander is that for squads you don't control? I have just finished the mission to get the professor out so I haven't the option to send out squads without me yet.

Squads without you don't really matter.
Its just for leveling your backup. That never matters to me since I never place someone out of reach. Either we all live or all die.
Finally got my hands on this. Awesome game and perfect 3D with fix. My only con is its too easy on hardest difficulty. I only played for 2 hours, will it get more challenging later on?

Commander is easy? Didn't figure I'd hear that.
Not sure what to say that. I guess it gets harder but if its easy 2 hours in [unless your moving slow] I couldnt say how much. A lot of situations you will have to adapt fast or die.

Hah!
You big show off.
I find the game does has some difficulty spikes, especially when the armoured bosses show up. Have you met them yet? It should be around the two hour mark...
