Just tested this on 8.1, driver 353.06, SLI 480, and it was working well. Fix engages, looks right.
Works on older driver of 347.88, and both the 1.04 and 1.05 versions of the game work here.
Double check that you are in full screen mode. The game likes to force it back to windowed fullscreen.

- Environmental reflections & specular highlights should be fixed (note - I haven't checked all quality settings, IIRC I think I'm on low)
- Global illumination around buildings partially fixed (@Mike - this is 4e7b1b2f8c99e97a-cs.txt. It's definitely broken at high convergence and may not be right otherwise - I haven't spent much time on it yet. cb12 in this shader doesn't seem to match up with the others, so I was flying blind).
- Bundled with 3Dmigoto 1.1.19 with support for compute shaders (@Mike - hunting compute shaders is on <>/ by default, but seems to crash the driver/GPU when shader 5 is skipped. The frame analysis will now give you the hash of compute shaders so you can use that instead)[/quote]
OK - I fixed 4e7b1b2f8c99e97a-cs.txt :-) Works for all convergence and separation now. Game is now looking pretty fracking awesome I must say :-) Great work again to you all on the compute shader inclusion.

Sorry to bombard everyone with updates, but I attach a further update that:
- fixes the one-eye looking shadow stuff (at least what I have seen myself for now)
- fixes the decal issue reported earlier
- fixes a hud element on the mini-map

I just downloaded it and extracted no problem - can you try again? I am using WinRar.

That's a strange one, I've never seen 7zip fail to open anything before. I see this too.
You can open this archive with stock Windows though- right click and use Explorer.
This fix for Computer Shaders is very impressive, and is all DarkStarSword. He's the one that drove all the changes and figured out what was necessary. Flugan did a great job tuning up the Assembler to accept the new instructions. Great stuff!

Is having access to the new shaders open up the possibility of fixing the Hairworks issues in 3D?
This game looks so amazing in 3D regardless - great job!

I won't have time to play a game for a long time now as im trying to learn 3D art, but i wanted to say THANK YOU guys for all your efforts, whatever matter what your working on. Witcher 3 looks pretty amazing, can't wait to wander those landscapes.

I would like to express my thanks for Your marvellous work here! I would have stopped playing games without You!!!
There is only one issue I am running into: I was able to get 3d to work on my win 8.1 machine quite well using flugan's wrapper. Since You mentioned the alpha 0.06 would be working with 8.1 as well, I tried. But 3d doesn't kick in anymore. Is there anything I miss here that would be a prerequisite for using 3dmigoto?

Just tested this on 8.1, driver 353.06, SLI 480, and it was working well. Fix engages, looks right.
Works on older driver of 347.88, and both the 1.04 and 1.05 versions of the game work here.
Double check that you are in full screen mode. The game likes to force it back to windowed fullscreen.
