How to get 3d vision to work on the acer X1261p projecter
Firstly don't bother using the installation disc that came with your nvidia 3d vision.
You may as well use it as a drink coaster.. You will need to download the 266.35 versionÂ
of the installation disc as unfortunately none of the new versions will recognize the projector.
Also tech support are saying to use the VGA cable to connect the projector to your graphics
Card. I've found that for some reason using the vga lead to the projecter hasnt been successsful at
recognizing the input. This might only be related to my gts 250 graphics card. I'd suggest using either a 2meter DVI/a to VGA lead or use an adapter dvi/a to VGA connected to the end of the VGA lead that came with the projector. Hope fully this has helped. Â
Took me all night to find the right combination. Hopefully nvidia will fix the support on the latest drivers soon. I'm going to update the drivers up a few revisions to see where it lost support.
