We have recently obtained a computer for 3D molecular modeling. It has a Quadro FX 4800 and a compatible 120 hz LCD monitor with the 3D vision kit. The programs we use are PyMol and Wincoot on Win 7 pro x64.
Wincoot in 3D works perfect with no issues.
In PyMol when turning on Quad Buffered Stereo the 3D does not turn on. I had to manually set the 3D under the manage 3D settings in the NVIDIA control panel.
Now to the current issue,

The old version came as a binary installer for windows and installed the program.
The new version comes as a set of python scripts, there is no exe file involved.
The issue is that selected Quad Buffered Stereo does not turn on the 3D and there is no exe file to force 3D on through the control panel.
I would like to be able to use the 3D in the newer version of PyMol without having to try to attempt to compile a native binary from source code.
