So can I make 3d vision 2 work on my Acer XB280HK 4K monitor? In the Tech of tomorrow review he said it does support 3D, but I don't believe him. But I've seen a couple of people who managed to do it. And yes I know I will get 30 fps per eye but I plan to use it for movies not games. So can I do it? I wanna know before I buy the kit.

It would need to have capabilities of displaying an interlaced format or repeating frames to display 3D at 4K.
Try making a custom resolution of 120Hz in the NVCP for 1080 and then run the UFO test from Blur Busters, to see if it displays each frame or skips. If it displays each frame, there might be a chance for 3D.

I tired that. When I click the test button in the CP the monitor loses signal and I have to reset the PC to make it work again. I heard you can make interlaced 3D work by using some sort of a polarization filter but I don't know where to buy one and I'm not in the US.

-60hz would result in a very dim image with a lot of flickering and ghosting, look awful, and probably give you a headache after a few minutes

I wouldn't mind having the freedom of using any refresh rate in 3D Vision :p. And the glasses can do it, as I said in another thread. Changing refresh rate while you're watching a 3D screenshot won't disable 3D Vision, and the glasses synchronize perfectly at anything over 60Hz (lowest I've tried was 64Hz).

Like I said I don't want 3D Vision for gaming since it will cut my beatiful 4K in half. I want it to watch 3D Blu rays and stuff like that. If 60hz sucks for 3D vision, don't 60 hz 3D 4K TVs suck for 3D too?

60hz 3D TVs are usually passive, meaning you still get 60hz per eye. Active 3D with shutter glasses at 60hz would mean each eye is blacked out for double the time you'd get at 120hz (resulting in a dimmer image), and would likely cause discomfort in motion (still screenshots would be ok).
