3D not working in 1080p
Hi,

I'm trying to use 3DTV Play with a JVC DLA-X3. I have the latest driver (266.58) and the 3DTV Play Support update 1.0.0.18 installed. 720p works fine but in 1080p 3D doesn't work, it just displays a 2D image. There's no error message or anything, depth control shortcut keys work (without any apparent change, of course) and pressing Ctrl+T switches to the 2D frame for the other eye, instead of enabling/disabling 3D.
The same thing happens regardless of what I'm trying to play - Blu-Ray, games, 3D photos, test applications...

Any idea what could be causing this?

By 1080p do you mean 1080p@24Hz?
Most games won't support 24Hz refresh, so you'll be stuck in 720p for gaming.
you may have to manually set the refresh rate to 24hz for movie playback but that ought to work.

Yes, I mean 1080p@24. Whatever I set my desktop to, it doesn't work. First I thought it was a cable limitation, and I brought a brand new 1.4 cable, but it still doesn't work.

I'm thinking it might be a problem with 3DTV Play not sending the data correctly to the JVC in 1080p... Is anyone using this projector without problems?

Hi

I do know the correct contacts at JVC to escalate any problems, but lets first figure out what you are doing.

What are you doing at 1080p24? The desktop, gaming, Blu-ray 3D?
