I really liked the ending of ME3. Poignant, touching, intelligent, and tastefully restrained, compared to the over-the-top action movie bravado of the first two endings. It was actually one of my favourite game endings in recent years. And I thought it was worthy of the series, which has been my favourite game series of all time.
I found the fuss it generated bewildering. It just reinforced to me that the masses have little of use to say about games, and are best ignored. I had the same experience with Far Cry 2 - the critics loved it, while the masses hated it, while my sensibilities seem to be closer aligned to the critics.
ME3 ant bad, the ending thing was kind of blown out or proportion and they reworked ending fine. If you enjoyed ME2 then theres no reason not to, imo.
TBH only like real good RPGS in last like 10+ years are Witcher/Dragon Age/Mass Effect can't afford to turn down either if your a pc gamer. Good rpgs are few and far in between.
Trust me Eqzitara, my 'reason not to' has nothing to do with desire to play the game. I'm a newlywed, and have very little time for games period. But on top of that, I'm married to a woman who is very sensitive to violence in entertainment (probably a good thing). The only opportunity I have to play a game like ME is when she isn't around, which isn't very often due to our schedules. I don't really even try, because it has been months since I fired it up last, and you can't really get into a good RPG when only playing for 15-45 minutes at a time. So that's why I said I'll probably never play ME3, and why I'll probably never finish Hydrophobia, or L.A. Noire either. - Just one of those trade-offs for gaining the most incredible wife ever ;)
I can get away with playing the Arkham series, which is my all-time favorite games EVAH. But that's why I'm also looking forward to the new Spider-Man game.... No killing... even though it'll probably be very average quality, it would be an action game I could play. Hope someone can/will get it working in 3D... Pretty please???

You should play the LEGO games ;-) I love 'em (I spent more hours of my life than I care to admit to myself fixing Lego Marvel Superheroes...).

I had the first LEGO Batman game at one time. Liked it to, but never finished it. I dunno, I think they are cool for a while, but I lose interest in them about halfway through and the novelty has worn off.

Hydrophobia for 49c on Steam. Pretty hard to beat that value with Mike's fix.
