was wondering does that white fog fix, lower any visual quality? Oh and thanks for the fix!
Only affects the fog, nothing else. The fix modifies the fog shader to make it more transparent, so it's really targeted. On that side note, I think it's pretty cool that people are getting extra mileage out of 3Dmigoto for 2D gaming. This is the second game I've heard of getting a mod in 2D. I helped some guys on guru3d tweak WatchDogs to remove those on-road chevrons and bridge noob-shine as it was breaking the immersion. Their loss for never seeing it in spectacular 3D, but better than it was at least.
I think the fix has gotten less stable, I loaded my game in 2D when it was ready I pressed CTRL T to enable 3D and it CTD. Latest v10 fix, Flugans v2 wrapper and no overlays :(
The "fix" has barely changed in weeks now, just the odd extra decal fix, or fog fix, so it's not getting less stable. I used Flugans wrapper v1 and did not have issues that you mention, and I also do not have those issues with the 3DMigoto wrapper. I have not tried Flugan's v2 wrapper, though Flugan commented that it does seems to be less stable than v1. If you have instant CTD when pressing Ctrl-T will ALL wrappers (3DMigoto, Flugan v1 and v2) then I am not sure what is going on. You could do a simple test like this: - Remove/rename all wrappers (d3d11.dll and nvapi64.dll) - Start the game - Press Ctrl-T - Does it CTD? If not, then yes something is going on with the wrappers. However, whether anything can be done about it is unknown. Please remember that this game has *many* issues with 3DVision, SLI and especially 3DVision+SLI together, regardless of the "wrapper+fix", and for some people it may never work properly.

I have restructured my OneDrive I now have renamed the wrappers and have them separate as well as in a game package. I have v1 which is the original wrapper. A older version 0.9 which is before I started adding hunting back in. After v1 I have v1.1 which enabled the hunt code in v1. v1.2 is a different beast and was needed for weird game behaviour in Shadows of Mordor to avoid instant CTD. All shaders have a trailing vx.x.1 because of a minor fix to my compilation code for ShaderFixes.

I came across this thread thanks to another forum that linked here. Before I try this fog fix, is there also a fix for the texture flickering in SLI, or is that still broken? Thanks.

I recommend Helifax post as a very good starting Point: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/788055/3d-vision/dragon-age-inquisition-/58/#4432099 The attached wrapper is v1.0. I have since compiled v0.9 v1.1 and v1.2. These can be found on my OneDrive in my footer. 0.9 has removed hunting code. 1.0 has hunting code but the code to enable hunting is commented out. 1.1 has this hunting code enabled 1.2 is a small change to 1.1 aimed at remove a instant CTD in Shadow of Mordor. All these has been patched for a shared bug with recompiling shaders. I would wish it was as simple as throwing in the fix and wrapper and that would be enough but without the steps recommended by Halifax the game will be much more unstable. I've been experimenting with settings myself but keep gravitating to Helifax guide for the most part.

Second picture is the one to use but you can replace the wrapper dll with any other from the top image. It could be that 0.9.1 works best in DAI or 1.0.1 which is my initial release. When there is multiple wrappers and multiple games it becomes finding the best wrapper for each game. Testing is timeconsuming, I just found 0.9 capable of recompiling all binary shaders without problem. At this Point 1.0 has had most testing time but except for my own testing it has primarily been in Windows 7. I might add a 0.8 branch where I actively clense 0.9 so no code is redundant or commented away. So far I managed to control the timeline by renaming my previous v2 to 0.9 as it was older code. Regarding support for 8.1 I would assume my 12 month old code works well in 8.1 so it was never about adding 8.1 support. The tricky was to correctly run 3Dmigoto fixes in an unstable Environment. A big step was stable hooks. The progress to run 3Dmigoto fixes have been very recent though. Feel free to try 1.2 but don't be disappointed if it doesn't work. If it does make sure to let me know.

I have been the same boat; just looking for a way to fix the damn fog in 2d. Works in windows 8.1 and with MSAA, which I was having issues with when applying the whole mod. I was essentially holding off playing it for this reason. It boggles my mind that you guys have fixed this before bioware/nvidia, and as only a small part of what you are working on. Would it be much hassle for you guys to upload this separate from the whole mod somewhere, if updates are made to it? Like on this page somewhere: http://helixmod.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/dragon-age-inquisition-3dmigoto-dx11-3d.html Obviously no worries if that creates extra work for you. Thanks again!

The game will run without crashes in 2D, a good example is when I load a scene from enabling 3D it will crash 100% of the time without failure. I've tried different version of the wrapper from Flugan and its solid when I'm not in a loading screen, all overlays have been removed (uninstalled) like MSI AB, Geforce experience etc with a clean install of gpu drivers via DDU. Not too sure how to troubleshoot this.

Unless it's fixed v11 link on HelixMod Points to v10 version. @Black_Hat looks like you have a reproducable crash bug which is easier to test and thus should be easier to debug. Not saying it's easy as we clearly need a quicker means of Communication to be productive. Hours between posts don't cut it.
