Since this is the new standard of monitors coming out. Does 3D vision support them? Or will they ever will? I'm sure it is not limited by the hardware. If not, will it ever be updated? Or 3D TV play 1080 @60hz through hdmi v2?
Thanks,

The only "certified" 3D Vision monitor that has a resolution of 2560x1440 is the PG278Q ROG Swift and AFAIK, only does 3D at 120Hz.
For any of the new monitors coming out, you would need to contact the manufacturer and/or NVidia.
3DTV Play is still stuck at the ridiculous refresh rate of 24Hz, when using 1080P.
The funny thing is that the glasses can work at almost any refresh rate. I opened a 3D screenshot with the Nvidia program, and then switched to 144Hz and tried many different refresh rates. All refresh rates above 60Hz worked (60Hz being the first one that didn't turn on the glasses) and the glasses were perfectly synchronized. As I'm writing this, I have the monitor at 64Hz and I'm watching a screenshot. The glasses are flickering madly (32Hz per eye), but moving windows is perfectly smooth.
The annoying thing is the red text saying "Warning: attempt to run Stereoscpic 3D in non-stereo display mode, please change to an acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes". Is there any way to disable that in the registry or something? It's the only thing in my way to play in 3D at 110Hz (the only custom mode that appears in the Nvidia Control panel as selectable for 3D, although the eyes are reversed).
For non Lightboost refresh rates, with my XL2411Z I can control which eye goes first, with the strobe phase option in the service menu.

You'd figure that they would update the driver it to work at 1440p at 140hz by now. I mean, Im sure the hardware is capable of doing it. All of these new monitors and you have to downgrade resolution and refresh rate to play 3d meaning you're not taking full capability of them.
I really really hope they do something about it.
