2D surround using dvi to hdmi adaptors or hybrid cables
I read this was an issue a while back,
2D surround is not supported by hybrid (dvi to hdmi cables) or adaptors, the nvidia site states any 3 identical digital or analogue connections will work.
Currently working on a 3 monitor setup that only has hdmi in or d-sub (vga) inputs
Unable to test at present as Im waiting for the 3rd monitor.
The threads I have seen ref' this issue state that when the dvi hdmi adapter idea fails the dvi d-sub combination works.
Just wondering if this is still an issue with the latest drivers.

Any thoughts

2D Surround requires 3 Digital or 3 Analog connectors. You can use adapters in between but they must not cahnge the signaling from digital to analog.

Just to confirm, the rumours stating that hybrid cables and or dvi/hdmi adaptors are not supported are incorrect !
I received my 3rd monitor today and I am now running 6220 x 1200 (bezel corrected) /shock.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Happy days

Right, they are just rumors :)

If you check our Surround system requirements pages we specifically state that you just need all three digital or analog connectors. You can use adapters as long as it doesnt change the signaling from digital to analog.
