My friend, the profile is on the 1st page. Now, don't be LAZY and READ the instructions! You don't NEED to change drivers if you like those and THERE IS NO OTHER WAY OF DOING IT...
(Note to self: I really wish people would be more literate in this day and age in computers. What's the point of having a PC if you can't even follow instructions laid out for you... This is FAR from advanced stuff. This is BASIC file manipulation, yet everytime someone comes asking for "A meal already server and digested". Now DON'T GET ME THE WRONG WAY!!! I am NOT attacking you! I am talking in general!!! I have lost of e-mails and PMs her asking me how to do the simplest things!!! TRUST ME, if it WOULD HAVE BEEN ANY EASIER THAN THIS I would have posted!!! THIS IS THE MOST EASIEST METHOD I CAN FIND!!! Is basically, click->export, replace some text, click->Import. Can't get any EASIER than this!!!)
There is NO OTHER PROFILE to export/import!!!
Now, (with all due respect) go an read and import the profile posted;) Once you do that, if you have any issues let us know so we can try and help out!

I was going to ask if someone could upload the custom Battlefront .nip as importing the .txt doesn't work for me, using either Inspector or 3D Profile Manager.

Now that we're talking about profiles: am I the only one that gets his custom profiles killed after reimporting?
I did it for Dark Souls 2 only (I haven't tried the fix for Battlefront yet), and after importing the modified file all my custom profiles were gone. Reimporting the .nip backup I always make worked to have my old profiles and the DS2 fix working, but it's a bit annoying.

First step is to reinstall your driver using clean and DDU. If it's working for other people, but not you, it's unlikely to be a tool problem.
Could be though, 8.1 is different enough that the tool has problems on some games.
If it's still crashing after that, I can take a look. Set calls=1, debug=1, unbuffered=1 in d3dx.ini for a full debug log and I'll take a look.
I did a clean install but unfortunatelly I get the same result.
Please take a look the my log, it is attached.
Thanks for the log file. Unfortunately I don't see anything at all in the log that suggests a problem.
The log just ends during a load of a bunch of other system dlls, no indications of errors.
Since you already did a clean install, I don't know what else might do this.
Only thing I can think of is to run the game, and make sure that the resolution is set to exactly your monitor resolution and refresh. Any switching can be problematic.
Only other suggestion is to be certain no overlays are active, no Frap, no Origin in-game, no afterburner, none.

My friend,
The NIP file is WORTHLESS. That is why you need to import it this. Nvidia inspector IGNORES some flags in the Profile which the driver requires. The only way to do it is to use the official NVIDIA tool.
If is not working, you are doing something wrong. Basic steps:
- Clean install drivers.
- Go to ProgramData/Nvidia Corporation/Drs and delete nvselector.bin
- Use the tool and EXPORT the profiles.
- Modify the profile and save the txt.
- Go to ProgramData/Nvidia Corporation/Drs and delete nvselector.bin (AGAIN!!!)
- Use the tool and IMPORT the profiles.
It always works 1000% sure! as a lot of people can relate this.
Best of luck!

The nvidia tool will basically export all the profiles (original+custom+modified). Are you Always Exporting before adding a modified profile? [Export button]
This should generate the txt file with all ACTIVE profiles (including all your custom active ones).

If you don't do this you will basically overwrite all your existing profiles with the ones from the txt file;))

Thank you for looking at thelog file.
I checked the resolution and it is the same with the desktop.
No overlays are running, Origin overlay is the first thing I disable.
Afterall it is a beta version. Perhaps when the game releases it will work.

I want to take the opportunity to thank zayou for his truly impressive fix on Battlefield 4

Unfortunately I can't post on the blog anymore (?). But this is in line with all the great work you guys did also already on Battlefront which I will purchase now only because it there is working fix.
Knowing that other interesting EA shooters are fixable makes believe strongly in 3D vision, I think about Medal of Honour Warfighter, which is a decent game or Battlefield Hardline... It seems that I will spend some time on Origin.

HOLY SHIT!
Battlefield 4 is now fixed....!!!!
Thank you guys so so so much...
I was so disappointed when BF4 wasn't 3D ready like BF3 as the Single Player campaign was such a blast. Right then, that's the rest of the week taken care of :)
I salute you guys, thank you again you magnificent bastards!

Tried with Windows 10, and obviously it doesn't work (on the contrary, the fix for fallout 4 works really fine). On the other hand, the usual procedure for the CM works (with the lines suggested here on the first page, to be applied on the nvidia profiles), and the depth of the picture is pretty good.

What exactly doesn't work? Be more exact... The fix doesn't work, broken effects ?
The fix was made against the public beta. Is no wonder it doesn't work in the final version or across the board;)
Can you try the maps that were in the beta and see if they still work?

I've been waiting for a fix for Battlefield 4 for years!
This is awesome news! :D
Thanks a lot!
Wrong thread here- this is for Star Wars Battlefront.
Can you tell me about posting on the blog? What is going wrong? There should be no reason you cannot post there. Even anonymous is allowed to post there, after entering Captcha.

¿Any confirmation about custom dll's on this or another DICE game? I know ppl uses Sweetfx, but this is not the same dll so they can see this as a cheat...
What exactly doesn't work? Be more exact... The fix doesn't work, broken effects ?
The fix was made against the public beta. Is no wonder it doesn't work in the final version or across the board;)
Can you try the maps that were in the beta and see if they still work?
