nvidia's 3D solution owner discovered Tridef solution
I recently discovered Tridef solution (for my VR'Helmet) and then i've one question for our purpose, playing in 3D : why not supporting Tridef solution ? --> For 3DTV players owner we can play in 3D in 1080p even with HDMI 1.3 --> I didn't know we can choice between a "CM mode" like (3D power) and "true" 3D mode. --> fix won't break every 6 months because of nvdia drivers... --> no need of emitter, of Nvidia who drop us out. Ok i also see that tridef drivers wasn't up to date for a while too...but. (sorry for my english...not up to date too :) )

Yes, TriDef Ignition supports many games (they claim over 880 PC games - see https://www.tridef.com/user-guide/supported-games). Some games have disabled effects (like dynamic shadows in Mass Effect series), while others have all effects enabled (like Dark Souls 2 - perfect S3D with all DX9 effects). Note that, in TriDef forums, users like me have provided more profiles (like DX9 Tales from the Borderlands and DX11 Talos Principle), beyond those provided by TriDef, as well. Ignition works great with my GTX 980 Ti and this forum's LG 4K TV EDID mod (4K interlaced display, reversed eyes), as well as Windows 10. However, around May 2014, Ignition support was significantly reduced, so now TriDef provides only around 5 or so new profiles (and application updates) per year. For example, Dragon Age Inquisition only released in 6.8 update, after more than one year after game launch, well after helixmod 3D Vision release (it has same visual artifact in Trespasser DLC that helixmod release has, by the way).
