Then you need to disable it in the ini or ....use the normal one and delete, rename or do domething with the GameOverlayRenderer64.dll in your Steam folder.(it causes the crash)
Of course the problem with removing GameOverlayRenderer64.dll, is that it doesn't record your game time or achievements. Usually, you can re-enable GameOverlayRenderer64.dll when you are through with the game and launch it in 2D and then the achievements are recorded.
At least this was the case when I ran into this before.

I really appreciates your help.
I find the issue. The problema was the ingame shadow settings, when turn on high then never start again.
I´ve deleted options file in appdata and now the world is a safe place again : )
The fix Works really nice , also better tan the one in the old version becouse the map renders in 3d also.
About this deathinitive v. I find a better textures and awesome ilumination, but also the feeling is not so good to me. In this version they forgot the COLOURS, much less immo... But th 3d fix is fantastic!

The first time it worked. Then I installed a different version of the game and now shaders not loaded. Already tried different ways of installation, return the first version of the game, changed the driver. Shaders are not loaded. Shadows, etc. broken. How do I restart the shaders in the game?

I've fixed 5 shaders: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gyklq0sdf0sckuj/ds2deathinitive_masterotaku_additions_1.7z?dl=0
Overwrite existing files.
- 1 shader that controls wave effects in normal attacks. Examples: http://u.cubeupload.com/masterotaku/Darksiders2002.jpg

- 3 water shaders that had haloing and similar bad effects (one of them also fixed the fire wave effect).
- Sun shafts. The same exact shader was used in the original Darksiders 2 fix. This fixed it partially. They are aligned with world objects, but the central point is at screen depth. Meaning that to produce an "eclipse" with the main character's head, you don't align his head with the sun, but to a position that it shifted to one side. If you remove your glasses, you'll see that the point is between the "2" suns. Probably someone with more experience than me can fix it.
Example of the sun shafts:

The first 4 shaders I've mentioned needed the same fixing as the Darksiders 1 shaders: two texcoords to fix instead of just one.
And woah, this is a lot more demanding than I expected. I'm getting more or less the same performance with my GTX 1080 at 1440p (first hub, between 42 and 45 fps) as in the original Darksiders 2 with the GTX 760 at 1080p. At max settings. If I disable ambient occlusion and reduce shadows a bit, I get 50-54 fps instead there.
I'm not sure if I'll play the game now. I still have a lot to do in TW3. I have a few hours played in this game from like two years ago, and I almost don't remember anything.
