The Bard's Tale IV - Combat First Look
Dungeon Crawlers 18 September
I hope it will be playable in 3d vision
Think it's unreal engine 4 right? The universal fix might get it close...

If it is Unreal Engine 4 we can fix it easily with DHRs Universal Fix. I do not know a Unreal Engine game that was 3D ready out of the box. But dont worry. We can make it. Try the Universal fix. But HUD will need some individual attention but not a big issue. If the Rest is working well we can make this shorty.

DHR's Universal fix works well, but it's not perfect. HUD is still screen depth, I can probably fix that, and it looks really wrong in combat atm because of it. item highlights are wrong, Reflections are not quite right either. But it's very playable in 3d as it is.
Be warned though performance is god awful! Poorly optimized game.

Search the vs that makes the Highlights and add it to the end where dhr wrote somothing about outlines in the ini file.this should fix it. The ui is individial in every game. This have to be fixed in any game manually.

Ill have a look @the game can you explain your problem some what in detail or is this a general issue of the game, not related to 3D ?
Please try this version, this is the universal fix with some UI adjustment. Crosshar into depth and one reflection shader correction. Not Fix, only work arround....
https://s3.amazonaws.com/losti/TBT4_WIP.rar
I was not able to get the object surroundings into depth....but you can remove it by uncommenting (remove ;) from this lines in the ini file (except ;analyse_options = dump_tex_dds mono you can leave it commented out)
;[ShaderOverrideObjectHighlight1]
;analyse_options = dump_tex_dds mono
;hash = 6dfed7accd03aff9
;ResourceDummyRenderTarget1 = copy_desc oD
;o0 = ResourceDummyRenderTarget1
Please try this file refering your motion sickness....may be it was because of some enabled logging options in the universal fix, that have to be disabled for a release in some games (just trying to fix DR4.....enabled logging was killing everything refering performance/reaction @ my rig.

No Losti I have motion sickness in games due to various reasons but in this case it's definitely the telescope FOV they game uses, that you can't change. I would have got it in 2d as well. 3d actually usually improves some things for me. I only got in in KC:D cause the UI had a slow transition on it which went away once I removed it.
I had already refunded the game when I posted, so someone else will need to test. Cheers.

I fought this this for many years, and looked at it from every angle, in my case it's usually to do with the engine the game uses. I cannot to this day play anything on source engine. Sick within minutes.
In this case it's the fov many people are reporting motion sickness problems with it on the steam forums.
