Its dx9 but nothing DX9 works. Like helixmod/windows xp. Weird. I noticed it has some AA options that I thought was off the table for DX9 games but yea.. its DX9. I havent checked but I wonder if injectors like smaa/sweetfx are having issues.

I dont think so. Tbh, I was only half certain it was DX9 till today. I used afterburner to confirm DX9 but couldn't get helix's wrapper to work. Someone needs to "hack"[Decrypt] the coalesced.bin so I can MAYBE have an idea of whats going on or perhaps find a solution with editing it like I did remember me post patch. If there is a way to force DX11 its possible that a profile change can fix it[its happens]. Ive never saw a dx9 ue3 game that couldnt be done but UE3 is changing. I mentioned it with Remember me/ Magrunner. Its EXTREMELY odd that these games have different compatibility in 3D as well but actually on average look pretty good unfixed [Magrunner/remember me/MK9].
TBH, odds are very slim.

Im waiting to see if any injectors work because I seriously think thats what's going to happen. If its possible texmod/umod can at least remove the few ghosting effects but I think its doubtful. [3D4DD did something similiar for RE6]

Well this game works terrific in 3D, I even bought an XBOX controller for it :) It does come up as unknown by the latest beta driver so far as the 3d rating goes.

I may be wrong. Someone on steam said it had to with version check and it looks like the exe checks to make sure that the D3D9.DLL matches the windows 7 one.
If people complain on steam forum its possible it may be fixable. Though I'm not sure if thats the reason.

@Milamber While the XBox-Controller is my favourite Controller for all the other games it is probably the worst Controller for playing Mortal Kombat. Unfortunately the D-Pad (which you normally use for fighting games like Mortal Kombat) does not allow for precise control.
The PS3 controller should be better suited for MK because of the superior D-Pad.
The most fun would be an Arcade Stick of course and I am very pleased that my Hori Wireless Fight-Stick 3 is fully PC-compatible. Since the Arcade Stick support for Mortal Kombat is really sloppy you have to use the application X360ce to get it working properly (otherwise the game won't react to diagonal inputs) but then it works like a charm.....

I think Darksiders 2 was pretty great. It didn't "stand out". But it really blended with game.
Dragon Age series [more so] / mass effect 2/3 have good soundtracks as well.

I guess my issue is immersion. When I am walking arround in real life there is no constant back ground music, so i don't want it in my games. I wish I could disable the back ground music in movies too :( I've been doing it in games for a while now so I can't remember what good game soundtracks are out there.
