Been checking all around but it seems like there is no way to disable it im afraid.
How can the developers be so stupid to make the Pc version like this, I mean it's so bad that I prefere to use my gamepad for it and that says a lot ha ha.
As they have implemented this thing called negative mouse accel into the code maybe it's no way around it, annyway it's crappy for a Pc Gamer that you cant do a thing about it.
Im chocked that ppl seems to think it's fine, any pc gamer knows right of the bat that it feels slippery slope, hard to explain but if you play with a mouse you really must know what I mean right ?
And it's not my hardware or anything else, exactly the same in 2D mode and I get 120 fps with V-Sync set to off in the game and force V-Sync in nvidia control panel!
It should be a law for putting out proper pc version = adjustable FOV and perfect mouse control and that means to disable crap like mouse smothing/acelleration damnit!!
Forgot to say that the first two games have exactly the same problem but that you may know about also!

Alright mate I have the wireless Xbox360 controller also, great gamepad by the way and I now play with it also as it's unplayable with a mouse atleast for me!

@MikeLoader...in the same place where system.txt is...you found another txt file "general.txt" try to change values for:
Control.MouseSensitivity = 0.50000000

Yeah it sure would be nice with proper mouse support but as you says, the Xbox controller is a great pad, also thinks it's one of the best and im used to use a gamepad anyway since me days of console gaming!
Some games that are not playable in 3d with my VG278H monitor I play on my plasma Tv and of course then use my wireless 360 controller :)

Dead Space 3 is looking perfect to me in 3D. I haven't found a single issue so far and I'm in chapter 8. Helix really did a great job fixing this game to look like as true 3D Vision Ready title. No complaints from me.
DHR, I cound't make SweetFX work for this game. When I Edit dx9settings.ini and add the proxy line in the [General] tag (ProxyLib = X )
Where "X" its the path of d3d9fx.dll (sweetfx dll)
So, I edited the right path where this file is.
The deal is that when I try to run the game, it won't start, I just get a blank screen and the game doesn't start??? Not sure what I am doing wrong here???
I've place the files you sent me where deadspace3.exe was located.
I was able to make the game start again by removing the path in dx9settings.ini. Once I cleared that path, then the game works normally. Not sure why this behavior took place with the edited dx9settings.ini????
BTW, the game is really fun, but I do miss a lot the guns I could upgrade and craft in Dead Space 1 and 2 series. I find the guns completely obliterated compared to the other DS1 and 2. The necromorphies are quicker, stronger and tougher to kill but the guns are now much worse than before, even with these weired upgrades we make using the bench table, go figure? The guns do little damage to the monsters, even the line gun....
I'm still trying to get used to DS3 new bench system. I see we can only carry 2 guns, but these 2 guns can become like 4 guns, cause you can mix them. But anyway, you won't have the secondary fire mode and 2 different guns at the same time. You must choose between 2 different guns or 1 gun with secondary fire mode. I wish we could have all of them added, 2 guns and 2 secondary modes at the same time.
EA is trying to sell us DLC if we get tired of these silly guns. what a Lame move...
DS3 is still scary to me, but the gun deal just sucks. I prefered Dead space 1 and 2 series in that matter. Why increase the difficult level and provide us with worse guns than before???? Make the game harder, but give us proper guns...
