Managed to get 3DTV Play to work with Dragon Age. Had to remove the DVI Cable to enable 3DTV Play from my VG278H. If you check my video found in my signature you can see me fumbling the resolution settings and finally succeeding getting 720p60hz 3D image. I don't know if you can get the same result but at least it is possible to run with 3DTV Play. Now I just need those minutes of my life back and reconnect my DVI cable. Edit: I was diligent to put my desktop resolution to 720p to begin with. You appear to have larger desktop resolution

You should read through this thread https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/788055/3d-vision/dragon-age-inquisition-/ Also you should tell us what Operating system, Driver version, GPU model, Display model and type of connection that you are using. <----------All factors that can cause it not to work.

Oh sorry, windows 8.1 64 bit pro edition. gtx 770. benq w1080st hdmi. I will edit with my drivers. Batman arkham origins is doing the same thing even after setting to 1280x720 flugan so basically you put your resolution to 1280x720 and 59.94 hz and it worked? I'll change my desktop res and see what that does. edit: still no change. I feel like theres a basic step I'm overlooking.

Another thing I had only my "TV" as the only screen connected. Could affect things. I would imagine that the hdmi display should be main display and set to the 3D resolution in windows. Should work with a second monitor as secondary screen but did not test.

HDMI 1.4 projectors are supported via 3DTV Play. Did you purchase 3DTV Play?

Try to get it working with Batman first. Dragon Age has known problems with 8.1 and is also really unstable. Batman is really solid and handles 3D very well, so it's a better place to work out the details. For the BenQ, you'll probably need 3DTV Play, unless you already bought the 3D Vision kit.

For me, the issue is typically that the projector will show a 800p signal instead of 720p (which will prevent 3DTV play from working). I've had to use a EDID override for the w1080st to get around this. I'll see if I can post the .inf file I've had to use sometime this weekend, but if you do some googling on EDID override you'll see some good info. No need to mess with the inf values themselves, just try different inf files posted online for 3d until you find one that works. That said... I can get DA:I to work on Windows 7 with this method, but still no luck on Windows 8.1 (and my understanding is that no one else has either, although I'm a little out-of-date on the main thread). So, keep in mind that you may need to use Win 7 to be able to play this anyways.

I have 3dtv play. Street fighter 4, sonic generations, trine 1 and 2 all work great. Mortal Kombat, DA:I, Batman and many others say the "change the resolution to 1280x720" message like in the video I posted.

In some games that do not launch in resolutions that 3DTV Play needs, you can try using Chiri's resolution unlocker or is it called override? It works with some games. Sorry, I do not have a link. You can also try setting your desktop to the required resolution prior to launching the game.

I have tried with skyrim, mortal kombat, and batman arkham origins. I take the .ini files from chiris files and put them in the same folder as the games executable. I removed the semi colons in the .ini file. The games now just crash, won't even start. I have tried setting my desktop to 720p, has no effect. -------------------------- whoops, i totally missed theres an option in nvidias control panel to make it 1280x720. i was just right clicking on my desktop and making it 1280x720, didnt know I had to do it in nvidia too. Cool!
