hello everybody! I'm from Italy, and now i will explain you my problem.
I have bought a month ago a new display, for my future pc (4-5 months, it will be equipped whith two gtx 780TI :)) that supports 3D vision (this display is the ASUS VG278HR).
I have tried to connect it at my laptop, an ASUS K53SV equipped with a NVIDIA GEFORCE GT540M (this graphic card supports 3D vision) with an HDMI cable, but 3D does not work. I have the last beta drivers.
i Have also noticed in nvidia control panel the hdmi signal passes first to intel hd (maybe this is the nvidia optimus tecnology... i don't know) what can i do? Shall I uninstall intel hd drivers?
in the control panel there isn't any option for stereoscopic 3D.
excuse for my english.
Disable Optimus in the bios, if you can.
If your HDMI output runs through the intel chip though, I don't think 3d vision will work.
are you sure? because my pc supports 3D... there isn't any chance? :(
I'm not 100% sure, don't give up hope. I've just seen a lot of people having issues similar to yours.

Probably a problem with Optimus, that technology is a fiasco for 3D.
