ctrl+F7 does not work with some games
What can I do to enable save convergence (ctrl+F7) in a game that does not allow me? I am trying with The Talos Principle (X64) and always I press ctrl+F7 converence returns to the initial position always.
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/835160/any-way-to-fix-the-issue-with-games-that-are-not-saving-convergence-settings-/
I think using NVIDIA's GeForce 3D Profile Manager is a bit of mess. I am going to try just using Nvidia inspector to change the exe to another profile, and maybe it works.

Not even asociating the exe to any other game, just Nvidia Inspector and delete de exe asociation. At least works fine with talos.exe

WEll I discovered a method maybe been posted before but I just tried using Aion Profile and in the convergence setting you have some presets. I just set it to preset #3 and it looked about where I wanted it so that could be another option to just use a preset that way it will always be what you set it I was having issues in F4 BMS where it just crashes the game and unable to save so if that is your problem try using a preset..

If you're using the fix posted here just press F7 to save(Press U, Adjust, Press F7 and Restart Game) If you're not using the fix, then saving the following Profile(.npi) and Importing it using NVIDIA Profile Inspector should fix the issue if it's just because it's missing the StereoProfile Flag like usual, I don't have the game to test it out...
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?> <ArrayOfProfile> <Profile> <ProfileName>The Talos Principle</ProfileName> <Executeables> <string>talos.exe</string> </Executeables> <Settings> <ProfileSetting> <SettingNameInfo>StereoProfile</SettingNameInfo> <SettingID>1881060439</SettingID> <SettingValue>1</SettingValue> </ProfileSetting> </Settings> </Profile> </ArrayOfProfile>
If you deleted the Profile and want the SLI bits back here's the full Profile...
