When you see lots of ghosting in higher depth
What can I blame it for? Monitor? GPU? Drivers? or the game 3d support itself?
my setting is i7 2600k, gtx 580 sli, acer hn274h 27 inch 3d monitor. I see almost zero ghosting when I watch movies but 80% of game I play, I see lots of ghosting(double images) on higher depth. Some games like crysis 2, metro 2033 has almost zero ghosting even at 100% depth but games like witcher 2, bullestorms, lost planet 2 have lots of ghosting when I go more than 10% depth. I admit they aren't noticiable in some area of game but in some area they are downright ugly. and then, there's half life 2 trilogy. half life 2 has some ghosting at 100% depth but it's still not enough to make me lower depth but half life 2 episode 1 & 2 has unbearable ghosting when I set 100% depth. So that made me thinking. If one game has almost zero ghosting while the other have unbearable amount, Isn't it devoloper's fault? Correct me I am wrong but I don't think changing monitor to something else would eliminate ghosting for me here.

Blame the standards, we have no standards, with CRT gone, they just hyper inflated the marketing , closest to an actual 3D display is DLP now.

Some of the ghosting you mention could be softwareinduced (usually increases with higher depth). When this kind of ghosting occurs it's because gamedevelopers didn't made the gameengine with 3d in mind. Some postprocessingeffects like bloom, hdr, blureffects are generally made in 2d and can't easily be shown in 3d.

Are you sure the ghosting isn't happening when at 10%? That's such a small number that it won't be real easy to see.

Also, is this ghosting mostly happening when you have a bright object against a dark background or dark object against a bright background?

it happens all the time when unless I set depth level to lowest. it's more like image seperation. it's hard to notice at lower depth level like up to 10% or so but it becomes bothersome when I go higher than that. well.. as I mentioned, this happens on most games but not all. some games like crysis 2 and metro 2033 don't have this problem.
