Eagle Lander 3d
Hi All, I'm looking to get a 3d monitor and Nvida vision 2 setup just to run Eagle Lander 3d versions 2.12 and 2.15. Unfortunately there isn't any information available on the sim working with Vision 2 Has anyone tried to run Eagle lander 3d with the Vision 2 system and what were the results? Thanks in advance. d.

Do you know what dx version it is using? Or if it uses OpenGL? For those interested http://eaglelander3d.com/ "Eagle Lander 3D (EL3D) is an authentic simulation of the Apollo lunar landings and includes accurate renditions of scenery, flight dynamics and the lunar module. Currently EL3D includes Apollo 11,12, 15, 17, a LM racing course and an orbital flight. Other missions 'plug-in'." http://www.eaglelander3d.com/downloads.html "There are two Eagle Lander 3D (EL3D) configurations: Shareware - FREE When un-registered, EL3D is absolutely free and includes the last few minutes of the flight of Apollo 11. At anytime you can register and enjoy multiple missions, longer flight times, replay options and many other items not available to unregistered installations. Registered - $24.95 The registered configuration allows multiple missions, longer flight times and a host of other features. To learn more about the advantages of registration please visit here. Thanks D-Man11 for the reply. I'm pretty sure the latest version the sim uses is DX 9c Both versions of the simulator are a few years old now but I'm interested in running them in 3d. I've tried the Eagle Lander forum and also tried to contact the developer but no joy. So I thought I'd try here so see if any one had run them with a 3d setup. d.

You can use MSI Afterburner and run it's FPS onscreen over-lay. This overlay, also will list the dx version. If it shows nothing, it's dx7 or older. Or if you are pretty sure it's dx9, you can try assigning it a profile from another game. You'll need to download and install Nvidia Inspector from Guru3D. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/03/how-to-change-3d-vision-profile-and.html PDF guide for using inspector https://s3.amazonaws.com/dhr/ADD+EXE+TO+CURRENT+PROFILE.pdf Or you can try importing the mystery stereo setiing into the current profile for the game, which is most likely a generic default profile. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/836462/

D-Man, thanks for the info. I installed the 3d drivers for my 750TI and was able to get version 2.15 running in anaglyph mode, so is this an indication that a game/sim is compatible with shutterglasses. Version 2.12 does not seem to work in 3d yet! but I'll keep working on it.
