Ok, so I know I need to buy the glasses, and I know I need to get a video card that supports it. but what about other stuff? I have an
Acer AL2223W 22" screen which "shows 16.2 million colors, has a 16:10 ratio screen, and a wide 160 degree viewing angle, 1680 x 1050 resolution, a bright 300 candela per square meter with 800:1 contrast ratio, and a fast 5ms screen latency"
and an
Acer X221W with same (if not extremely similar) specs.
Will those support 3D or will I really have to spend a bunch of extra money on monitors too?
Also, I'm running 32 bit Windows 7 with 3 GB of RAM, and a 2.4 GHz Quad Core processor. Is that enough?

Nvidia has a very specific list of what they support and what they dont (at times can be made to work), Check your monitors against the nvidia list of compatable 3d vision monitors, sorry but youll have to google it as i dont have a link right now. What games are you planning on playing as that should be a consitoration to which gpu you want to buy. Remember that 3d cuts your fps almost in half.

Watercool any gpu cheap, AKA- "The Mod"
1/ 120hz compatible monitor
2/ 3DVision kit (emettor + active glasses)
3/ Nvidia graphic card 3Dvision certified
Check this page for more infos:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html
In my opinion, Minimum system requirements should include Core 2 Duo + Geforce GTX280 for a good experience.
