Hi!
I´m trying to sell my benq 24" to buy a 27" nvidia 3d compatible, most probably the Asus VG278HR, as it has the nvidia kit integrated. Any known issues with this monitor?
And the last question, what happened with the famous nvidia announcement that was going to change our lives? I was waiting to buy the monitor, just in case something revolutionary may happen, but I´ve seen nothing like that. Was it the new drivers with pseudo 3D?
Regards

Monitor should be fine, though there are new models on the way/just released that might be worth looking at.
The announcement was the fake 3d release, which is a positive sign nVidia care about us.
Oh, my! 1440 and 3D! that should be a perfect match with my dell, but I think that may be too much resolution. The final aim is to play with 3 screens, the central one in 3D, so I think I may stick with fullHD. Nevertheless, I may wait, ´cause those new models may mean a price drop..... let´s see.

I'm 99% sure you can't do that.
If you're playing 3d surround, all monitors have to be identical, and have to be 3d. I don't think you can have a central 3d monitor, surrounded by two 2d screens.

I don't think there are any 3D 1440 monitors out there. And no 3D + G-sync either, if I'm not mistaken (but that may be just due to an incompatibility between the two technologies)

An Asus VG248QE is a 3D G-Sync monitor, they just (currently) can't be used simultaneously

G-sync is reliant on driver so it will probably be later on. Its documentation says its compatible so guess we will see. They aren't really in circulation yet.
