Going for Windows Vista
So I just got windows vista ultimate for $31.83 yay!

I am going to install today or tomorrow... but should I just install vista secondly on my harddrive and use it for games so I can go back and forth from XP to Vista... or should I just totally format my HD and start from scratch...

Any way to save all your data from games from one OS to another?? Like online profiles, saved games?

Usually there is some data saved in your my documents\my games folder, it depends on the games you've got. Sometimes they are saved in the game directory itself.
