Games revert to 60Hz refresh
Hello
I am trying to get a CRT on the VGA port of a Dell M1710 with a GO 7900 GS GPU to run at something over 60Hz so the stereo image does not flicker in page flipping mode.

I am using 93.71 graphics and stereo drivers and from the Nvidia Stereo Properties can run the medical test image at 85Hz. Also under the Nvidia Stereo Setup & Test, the Nvidia "Launch Test Application" runs 85Hz and the hot keys work. :D

But when I try to run a game (Flight Simulator X, Oblivion or the neat Toy Solder application found in nZone) the CRT ALWAYS switches back to 60Hz. Very annoying.

I have also tried the Nvidia Refresh Rate Override with no difference.

Anybody seen something like this? Suggestions would be much appreciated.

I would go to this section of your driver control pnl,

Set the highest you can get away with for each resolution, run test to determine, make sure "always use stereo refresh rate" box is ticked, click apply. Hope this helps.
