Elder Scrolls Online 3D vision compatibility
  9 / 35
I wasn't able to get it to work, but I've seen posts that say it does. When the game goes live and I get my characters created I'll spend some time trying to figure it out. I've tried a lot of games in 3D Vision and the only one I've found that doesn't work is Age of Conan. Even my old Tomb Raider games work so I can't imagine that a brand new game wouldn't. But once it's up and running maybe the fix will become available.

Delete ESO profile in Nvidia Inspector & add it to Star Wars the Old Republic or WOW. 3. Modify UserSettings.txt from Documents/EOS/Live folder like this: SET GraphicsDriver.7 "D3D9" Should work that way. Again we will need a shadow fix to make this perfect in 3D. A MMO you can play Single Player, First Person, & No HUD option is perfect for me. Plus its probably 10 times the size of Skyrim & will keep getting bigger & close to 500 hours of content if you play all 3 alliances. Sounds like my perfect game as long as we can get a shadow fix.

The early access started today. I can't get 3D to activate with 3dtv play. i set the usersettings ini to d3d9. Are you doing anything extra? Which driver version?

If you did all 3 steps I listed & it isn't working I'm not sure what the deal is. I have the latest drivers. I also heard they will be implementing a legit full screen in a upcoming patch so the 3d should activate easier I assume. Shadows are still slightly broken though so lower depth & high convergence helps some.

I renamed the eso.exe to wow.exe and edited the usersettings.txt "D3D11" to "D3D9" This worked for me. You will have to start the game via the game exe, because the launcher won´t work.

Got it working just with the d3d11 to d3d9 trick. One thing though, if you have a EU version of the game, look for the usersettings.txt on the documents\the elder scrolls online\liveeu instead.

I couldnt say since I dont have game/don't plan to have game but I'd imagine someone would say something by now if it stopped working. http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/07/installation-known-issues.html?utm_source=BP_recent Go through that.
