Thanks for the input. I tried the two suggestions you posted and couldn't get them working unfortunately, really don't know what's wrong here. My OS language is UK English, don't think there are any spelling variations in the text the Chiri wrapper has. Went into device manager and uninstalled the drivers for the second mouse, still no joy. The Borderlands 2 fix works, but it appears COD doesn't like the Helix fix, neither 5 or 4 would work with it (actually remember not being able to get the COD4 fix posted on the Helix site working, just had no effect). But I tried it with Skyrim and even old crap like Driver 3 and it worked without a problem. Need two mice because I use my PC both at a desk and as a media PC, one wireless, and one not.

If you install borderlands 2 patch and the right click features doesnt work something is up. I wanted you to test with DX9 games if the feature works. Just drag D3D9.DLL and dx9settings.ini into game folder. If neither chiri's wrapper or helix's wrapper right click feature doesn't work something is up and its probably the two mice. If it doesnt work Id go into system and disable the mouse not using restart and try again. change input back to mouse instead of gaming mouse. Like this Input=Mouse Then when you need it again just enable it.

Yea I did. Like I said your Borderlands 2 Helix fix works in Borderlands 2 and a couple of other random DX9 and prior games I picked out, I right click and convergence changes just like it should, same way the Farcry 3 fix does. But COD, like a few others, refuses to work with the Helix wrapper, at least for me. I don't know if maybe it has protection against running third party d3d9.dll's or something. I actually posted about it awhile ago on the Helix thing saying that the Helix wrapper doesn't seem to effect COD4, because someone had made a shader fix for it and I couldn't get it to work. I'm aware thats quite old, and perhaps updates or driver changes have stopped it working somehow.

I misunderstood. I think the problem is you have two mice and it registers as ID=0 in log. So it says no device used. Chiri's wrapper will not work on any other call of duty then black ops 2(maybe 1) because it only fixes games that use nvapi to force certain convergence locks. so its not worth testing. I have no idea about cod4 issue, If I ever have time I will check. Author did get it to work from screenshots though. Not sure if he did something special but sometimes you need to install in .exe folder and one level up as well.
