Quad Buffered Stereo w/Alienware AW2310 - Brightness 100% & Locked Quad Buffered Stereo w/Alienw
Having a very frustrating problem here. Anyone dealt with this yet?

When I enter Quad Buffered OpenGL mode using 3D Vision glasses with the Alienware AW2310 monitor, the brightness level changes from my current brightness setting of 3% to 100% brightness. Then, the brightness control remains grayed out in the monitor UI so it cannot be changed back.

If I logout of Windows 7 or restart the computer, the brightness setting returns to my original 3% setting and is adjustable again.

I've tested the consumer software version of the 3D Vision and this does not affect the brightness at all. So the problem seems to be related to the Quad Buffered OpenGL.

Here are the specs I'm running.

Windows 7 Professional 32Bit
Quadro FX 4600
Nvidia 3D Vision Glasses/Emitter
Alienware AW2310 Monitor
Quad Buffered Applications: Maya, DepthQ Player, Stereoscopic Player
Quadro Driver Version: 197.85
Quadro 3D Vision Version: 197.03
