Using newer displays, with older drivers
Say that you have a somewhat new display, that is 3D Vision certified and works on current drivers. But you want to use an older driver, for whatever reason, that was released prior to the monitor being white-listed and supported by Nvidia. Simply extract/un-zip a current driver download. Then unzip the 3D Vision portion. Now take the nvtimings.ini, that is found in the new driver and replace the one found in C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\3D Vision
