Hi

Does your laptop use an external USB emitter or does it have a built in IR emitter?

Hi

For users with the ASUS problem, are you absolutely sure you have a laptop with a built in emitter?

I have a asus g53jw-ix159v and in the discription of this product stands that a emitter is build in, in the supply was only the 3d vision glasses. So im believe its an software problem in an discription video of nvidia to this product http://www.youtube.c...h?v=r9cLspo-DS8 everything works.

Can you check your Device Manager and tell me if the 3D emitter is showing up in your Device Manager as shown in the screenshot attached?

That would explain why the 3D Vision wizard is not showing the built in emitter. You may want to contact Asus and make sure your model indeed includes the built in emitter. If it does, then it has likely gone bad and will need to be repaired or replaced. It is possible the cable inside may have been clipped while assembling the notebook.

Hi All,

I'm having the exact same issue with a brand new Asus G73SW-3DE I received 3 days ago. Marv87, did you have any luck contacting Asus or your reseller regarding this problem? Any word on how long it would take to fix?
