Fonts messed up in game and after game ends
I often find in full screen mode the 2d fonts will get very blurry and hard to read. After the game exits all the fonts in widows are the same, and to fix it I need to change the resolution and then change it back to my native.

Its not a big deal to fix but it can make playing certain games difficult to impossible.

X3TC is impossible as it uses so much text.

Stalker is difficult as its hard to read things like your ammo read outs.

Any idea whats the cause of this and how to fix it in game?

X3TC is just about impossible anyway because you've got to select objects that are distant with a pointer that's at screen depth. Stalker, on the other hand, should be fine as far as text is concerned. And text should certainly be fine after quitting out of a game!

I know XTC is just about impossible which is a complete shame since that game would be perfect for 3d, but the text issue does happen, using the latest drivers and all that fun stuff.

It doesn't always happen, but its frequent. I'm using the ASUS+3d vision bundle with 460gtx's slied.
