How long can the emitter's cable be?
Hey Pardon the stupid question. I'd like to use the longest I can. From a few cables I own, only 2 actually work, so I guess this means I need to buy decent quality cable and possibly lenght may be an issue as well. It would be great if I could use a 3m cable. http://www.yourcablestore.com/USB-Cable-Length-Limitations-And-How-To-Break-Them_ep_42-1.html USB 2.0 16 feet, so less than 5 meters. USB 3 meters, due to higher data transfer, but this might not apply because the emitter doesn't require much. USB hubs are an easy way to get more length. I've used one for years and have had zero issues with my emitter working properly. Excluding that one botched driver where Nvidia added the USB support for external graphic cards.
