3d vision kit for linux - can the driver downgrade to 60hz?
We are using the 3d vision kit for linux and it works fine under 120hz.
We have a requirement to be able to toggle an X server (via ctrl-alt-plus) from 120hz to 60hz while in stereo "10" mode. Stereo "10" is the specific mode for the NVIDIA 3D Vision glasses as specified in the docs.
When attempting to toggle from 120hz to 60hz, it only goes down to 100hz. I have also tried modes 85hz and 75hz and they both only go down to 100hz.
Also, the toggling seems to work under different "Stereo" modes. I tried it under Stereo mode "3" and it was able to do it. But I do not have the 3D hardware to use that mode. I just have the NVIDIA 3D Vision Glasses.
