Has anyone ever had stuttering after installing the drivers?
The stuttering I am experiencing happens all the time, it is easy to notice when moving the mouse, because the mouse will freeze for a split second. When a video/movie is playing, the audio will be uninterrupted, but the video itself will freeze for a split second just like the mouse cursor. I have no idea what to do to fix this, because it does this with all versions of the drivers, and has for as long as I can remember. I know it is the video card drivers causing this because when I remove them there is absolutely no stuttering, it always starts after the installation of the drivers.

Just to be clear, here are the exact steps that I take when changing drivers:

1. In the control panel, I uninstall NVIDIA Stereoscopic 3D Driver, NVIDIA PhysX, NVIDIA Drivers, and then try to uninstall NVIDIA Display Control Panel but it says that it has already been removed and it takes it off the list.
2. The computer asks for a restart, I say no and then run driver sweeper version 2.1.0 (I check nvidia display drivers and the physx drivers), it finds a few files and asks for a reboot, I say yes and the computer restarts.
3. As soon as the computer gets back to the desktop, windows installs some generic drivers for the GTX 280, so I run driver sweeper again and it finds a bunch of files, it asks for a reboot and I select yes and the computer restarts again.
4. When it starts back up, I run driver sweeper again to see if there are any files left, there are never any left at this point, so I run the setup file in the drivers folder of the full driver cd.
5. The video card drivers are installed and the computer restarts. When it starts back up the stereo drivers are installed and then the 3dvision setup program runs.

I have been having trouble getting the 3dvision setup program to complete successfully, sometimes it will not recognize my screen (Mitsubishi 60737). I used to just restart the computer and run it again, and that always used to work. I have found recently that the best thing to do is to unplug the usb adapter from the computer, then to remove the drivers, and to plug it back in after all the drivers have been installed and the 3d setup program has began. By doing it this way I no longer needed to restart the computer a second time (the first being after the graphics drivers are installed), as it would successfully find my display the first time the 3d setup program ran. Unfortunately no matter what I try the computer will stutter all the time, which is highly annoying and distracting, especially when watching a video.

I have had the same results from every single driver release, and I always get the full cd releases from NVIDIA when they come out to see if the problem will go away. Since they have not disappeared yet I have decided to make this post.

I am running the system in my sig and have tried disabling physx and 3d vision in the nvidia control panel, but it still stutters. I have tried playing around with the 3d settings as well, with things like vsync and keeping the card in performance power mode, but it hasn't resulted in any changes. Like I have said, when I remove the drivers the stuttering completely stops.
