I find that view distance takes the biggest hit in fps, drop that a couple notches and you'll see the biggest increase, while leaving everything else maxed out.
Since all enemies and characters tend to pop up rather close anyway, It's the best solution imo.

I just tried the DX11 path.

Nameplates don't have depth.
No 3D Mouse support.
It ignores the in game convergence and depth settings.
I didn't notice a substantial difference in performance.

I'll be sticking to DX9 for now.

I also have a problem. I got 3D and the latest driver updates and i have tested the 3D in other games, it works in everyone. But when it comes to Wow I can't make it work. When you start a game it xomes up a small green square in the bottom right corner, but it don't do so in wow. When I try to enable stereo video it works, but when i open the options tab again, it has disabled itself. I am running in fullscreen and when i press the green button on the emitter it won't glow brighter and work. I tried to search the forum but i could'nt find anything, maybe i'm a bad "searcher". Please help.
