I'm getting an lg 42lm3700 3d tv. it uses frame packing passive tech. will it work with 3dtv play or other driver?
the tv specs are:
60Hz 1080p/1080i/720p/720i
3D FPR
I need to know if I can make this tv work by tomorrow morning when I meet up with seller. please help.
Hi, your TV is not listed in the system requeriment page:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-system-requirements.html
That list its not been updated in months, so its a chance that works just fine.
My recommendation is to take your PC/Notebook with you and test the TV with the "3DTV Play 14 days trial". DONT BUY until you test the trial.

The other days some user with a LG 47LM669S (thats not listed in the system requeriment page) test with the trial and works. Here is the THREAD
GOOD LUCK!!
Unfortunately, Nividia does not support your TV in it's native line interlaced format.
But you can get it added to the supported list by following the instructions at
http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2774
nvidia might not support it but their software does. got the TV today, hooked up and working awesome with 3DTV Play drivers. all my games are working in 3d and my video and photos too. sweet. so the LM series of LG 3d tv's should be fine.. this one works and others with LM series are working too.

Great news!! i tell some others users with LG passive to try the 14 days trial any ways....the TV supported list for LG TVs is not updated....or LG have the same kind of generic EDID that its supported by Nvidia....who knows!!
@unclefreaky, increase depth to 100% and enable advanced shortcut keys to increase convergence (CTRL+F6). CTRL+F7 to save values.
