I had my intel card on (hd 4000) and my gtx 560 I was using with Lucidlogix virtu mvp on. When i went to use 3d vision, it wouldn't work. I had to turn off the intel gpu and go solely with the nvidia gpu. I am using a ivy 3770k with a gigabyte soc 560 1gb. I was just wondering if it was just me having to do this or this is a rare case. Thanks for any response.

How do/did you turn of the intel hd4000?
It's probably related to my own issue in another thread.
Here's a probable reason of why this happens: http://3dvision-blog.com/5532-nvidia-optimus-technology-and-3d-vision-dont-go-well-together/
Though the link is talking about notebooks I assume it could also give some issue on desktops.
I read your 3d vision blog 2wayspeaker, and that's laptops only. On a desktop, there is a option to enable/disable integrated gpu multi monitor on asus boards that alllows virtu mvp to be turned on/off. This option also enables/disables the integrated gpu when a discrete gpu is in the system. I remember when I had a sandy bridge laptop. It was a core i3 with a gt520 gpu. It also used optimus technology. Found out that I was mostly using the integrated gpu for my gaming graphics unless it was dx11. Optimus tech is crap.

Kinda the same but different implentations.
Lucid was making a chip for Hybrid SLI that never really panned out. I think they quit making it.
