DHR, thanks so much for all your time working on this. I just met Elizabeth, and flinched when she threw a book at my head - and the scene just after where you escape from the <spoiler> with <spoiler> using the <spoiler> was incredible.
No problem...i'm happy that this game is played for others in 3D....really an amazing game.
That part its amazing in 3D.... i uploaded to youtube :)

I am still wondering how you can play it with 3D Vision equipment. As I posted, TriDef support claims that it will only work for DX9, not DX10/11. What hardware do you use?

Yep but only in SBS mode... not in direct 3D mode...
For direct 3D in DX10/DX11, they need nvidia API, BUT they don't have it...

Great post on the tridef forums DHR! I didn't know about turning off the crosshair, that's really useful.
Also I think it was pirateguybrush who said about dominant eye right to make zoom work in 3d, thanks for that too!

All hail 3d modders DHR, MasterOtaku, Losti, Necropants, Helifax, bo3b, mike_ar69, Flugan, DarkStarSword, 4everAwake, 3d4dd and so many more helping to keep the 3d dream alive, find their 3d fixes at http://helixmod.blogspot.com/ Also check my site for spanish VR and mobile gaming news: www.gamermovil.com
None. I spent about an hour tweaking ini files the other day, found a few things.
The ini files contain a number of stereoscopic 3d references, even one to a stereoscopic reticule. One in particular called (approximately, I'm not home) allownvidia3dvision = false.
Turning it on sees a huge (70%) framerate drop, but no change in 3d. The others did nothing, as far as I could tell. I don't think it's likely we'll see a fix - which is a shame, because it looks amazing in 3d (I'm playing with Tridef).

Just a heads up, there is an update for tridef drivers out. Bioshock infinite has a profile. however, don't get your hopes up, the game still needs to be fixed. Very little ,if any, improvement.

What are you talking about, it's almost perfect on Tridef. I'm 3/4 through, and haven't seen any major issues. A few minor lighting ones, but nothing serious.

I'm happy to hear that your able to look past the lighting issues, at least you get to enjoy Bioshock Infinite in 3D. I'm picky about my games when playing them in 3D and that's a huge problem when considering how many come out with issues. If it wasn't for Helix and EQ , I might have given up playing in 3D a long time ago.

If I didn't have these games to play in 3D I would have dropped 3D gaming ages ago. Unfortunately for me, I'm a little picky and I'm trying to look past certain issues. I'm just finding it harder do so with time.I have even started playing some games in 2D even though the 3D version has minor issues.
Having A problem here and a problem there is starting to get on my nerves.
Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way, for me it is getting harder to look past these things.

I finished the game today, OMG it could be easily the best game Ive ever played, at least in terms of story, its mindblowing, and in 3d it was beyond awesome, thanks DHR for your profile.
The game on Tridef has several minor lightning issues, still its true that it gets much better about half way into the game where theres a lot less daylight scenes. In any case, its incredible in 3d and no matter the issues it remains playable.
The good news though is that Tridef devs have just posted today that their next beta would probably fix most of the issues, so what better reason to revisit Colombia!

Im just curious what the tridef version disables. They really need to document that somewhere. It kind of drives me insane. Id rather leave something broken and give option to turn it off just so you know what it does.
@recostar
Tbh, it doesnt look too bad from videos people showed me but maybe I just saw certain clips that look well. I'd probably put up with it if my displays worked with tridef, maybe Ill be able to check it out in future. Id settle and play it imo. If helix is able to figure something out its certainly not going to be any time soon though would definetly be a good excuse for a second playthrough.
I always thought you were more into Tridef then 3d vision. Though it may be like me you are on 720P display and its a pain to record.
