Hmm, all this talk about ME2 is making think of trying it out... Bioware DID have plans to make this s3d, not sure if they are going through with this however, haven't heard any talk of a 3d patch for a long time....

Mate,

The game itself is excellent! Brilliant Sci-Fi.

I couldnt play he thing in 2D. 2D gaming really is a disappointing load of rubbish now. I decided I would ignore the glitches and I am really pleased that I did.

Tip: For some reason, after the tweaks, the game looks much better in a darkened room; this is a bummer for me because my curtains do not block out much light. I am going to move my PC! Yes I am! Don't try to stop me - grrrrr!

I joined the request. Guys, you should too. Maybe if BIOWARE hears from us they will do something about the issues.
This is too good of a game to play in 2D :)

I've got the afternoon sun too behind my screen, luckily daylight savings has switched of that bright burning round thing quite early now :D

And oh yes. when sci-fi is good and done well, its really, reeaally good. (bladerunner /heart.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ). I finished the first ME at release, and was just twiddling my thumbs and blocking my ears to spoilers until some s3d patch came out... Im itching to play this, so il join in on that thread whole heartedly! And perhaps take a peek too!

Got this reply from one of the BIOWARE people from that abovementioned link:

Hey,

We're aware of the issues when trying to play the game in 3D.

It's on our list of things to address, but it has not been scheduled. This means it definitely won't be included in the next update but it is possible (albeit extremely unlikely) that we may include in a subsequent update.

At least he was honest. Hopefully they will add a crosshair toggle...

Please continue to support the thread. Just some more 3D awareness would help. Hmmm maybe t-shirt campaign...
