Random Black Screen Reset Possible sign of drivers crashing?
I'm experiencing random black screens lasting 2-5 seconds when playing games in S3D. During this time, the monitor light blinks as though there is no signal. When the video does finally return, my S3D settings have been reset (any tweaks I've made since starting the game are lost). I experience this roughly every 30-60 minutes, although occasionally I've had multiple blackouts back-to-back.

Is this a possible sign of my drivers crashing and resetting? If so, are there any solutions?

If you run MSN Messenger (aka Live Messenger) or something else which pop up small window at the bottom right of the screen: disable or quit before playing a game. If it's MSN, just set it to "Busy" (red) and it will stop.

enjoy ;)
