List of Recommended 3D Monitors?
I game on my Oculus Rift but I'd like to pick up a used 3D monitor as well. Just don't know what to look for. Any guides or lists out there?

You'll need to do your own legwork, especially since you are going used. https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1009715/3d-vision/list-of-3d-vision-ready-hardware/post/5151481/#5151481 Last updated 07/06/2017, you'll need to purge any newer information from the drivers yourself. You can also opt for a 3D HDTV or Projector. (No 3D TVs were made after 2016) Lots of threads with existing information https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/824274/ Be sure to check out 3D fixes made by members of this forum http://helixmod.blogspot.com/2013/10/game-list-automatically-updated.html

There are several threads to this but the final suggestions if you want to use it for 3D-Vision is here: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/1094404/3d-vision/any-3d-vision-quot-really-ready-quot-screen-i-can-get-these-days-/ For me in my personal i cant find any thing better than BENQ XL2420XT. May be you are lucky to find one @ ebay but it depends on your point of view in requiements and what you are used to from your prev. screens. I am used in perfect 3D without much ghoting or some thing like image retention and i can live with some horizontal interlancing lines (dont know the right word for that ^^)

If you can find one, a 2016 LG E6 or C6 4K 3D OLED TV is one of the best 3D displays you can get. For broadest gaming support (like older DX9 games), it requires a software override of your display's Generic Monitor driver via EDID file (see https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/943900/3d-vision/search-information-about-edid-for-3dvision-on-lg-oled-4k-55ef950v-55ef9500-/post/5248436/#5248436 for latest EDID supporting HDR, other posts in same discussion thread describe entire setup for TV and computer). 4K gaming requires a considerable GPU, however (some C6 and E6 users game in lower resolution modes)...

If you decide to go with a new monitor and want to go budget/cheap. These are my recommended low priced monitors that can often be found on sale cheap. Of course prior to purchasing, it is recommended that you do your own research and come to your own purchasing conclusion. ASUS VG248QE 1920x1080P Dell S2417DG 2160x1440P with G-Sync Dell S2716DG 2560x1440P with G-Sync I bought the S2716DG for $375 and love it, a few others have it as well. Others had problems with it. YMMV NOTE:......If you do go used, buy one with Display Port, otherwise you'll need to buy this adapter for newer GPUs without a DVI Dual Link connection https://www.accellww.com/products/ultraav-displayport-or-mini-displayport-to-dvi-d-dual-link-adapter-with-3d-support

Note: G-Sync doesnt matter in 3D mode....As well as ULMB For 3D you do not need all those new things of a gaming monitor because it cant be used (G-Sync) or are unsuitible (ULMB) as well as Refresh rates over 120 Hz... In addition: 4K gaming in 3D .... dont know hot it should work ^^ but may be i am behind the technique but using a GTX 1070 in SLI will never be able to achieve it...of cause depends on the game..... If you have a single GTX 970 .... you can be happy to play the newest games @ low graphic specs @ 20 fps in 3D vision. https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-970-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1070/2577vs3609 And i have 2x GTX1070 and this is +30-40 % of the FPS compared to a single card. @whyme466 .... whats your hardware to get 4K 3D-Vision working ^^ ???
Note: G-Sync doesnt matter in 3D mode....As well as ULMB
Thanks for pointing that out, I should have mentioned it. G-Sync is disabled by Nvidia's driver when 3D is activated. But still, those are the cheapest new 1440P monitors that I know of, that "officially" work with 3D Vision. G-Sync or not.
