In the little teaser on the main page of 3Dvision it shows that the effect goes outside the TVscreen, just wondering is it like that in real life?
Or is this just to show that it will look like 3D for people with normal gfx cards and cant se in 3D?

An immediate example that comes to mind is in team fortress 2, when im reloading the scout's shotgun (new scout pack one) the shells fly out of the screen at me.
I've also tried to dodge a soldier's rocket in RL a few times haha...
Blood spills out of the screen from headshots well in L4D too..

Things can pop out to just inches from your nose, which makes them appear to be "outside" the confines of the screen edge because they're so close. Things are -not- going to crawl out to the immediate side.

I think the creator of the thread meant about picture going outside of the screen in X and Y axis, not Z which is depth.
The effect shown in the animation is complitely false information, S-3D does not allow the picture to go outside screen's frame/board.
The glasses only adds depth , which can be seen only with the shutter glasses (although there is too much hardware based ghosting to make it enjoyable).

yea, i meant the Y and X axis ofc... already knew that the Z axis whould be 3D, duh...
ok then i know that it doesn animate outside of the sreen, thx :)
