ArmA2 - "non-stereo display mode"
  1 / 2
Hi,

I wanted to test ArmA2 in 3D. But when I press CTRL+T to enable 3D mode, it just look wierd and it shows a message:
Warning: attempt to run Stereoscopic in non-stereo display mode, please change to a acceptable mode. See documentation for acceptable Stereoscopic 3D modes.
I also tried to rename the .exe to arma.exe and fifa09.exe. If I rename it fifa09.exe I dont get the "Warning" message but the picture freezes until i disable 3D.

Can anyone help me get it running in 3D ?

Playing in 1680x1050

I got the Nvidia Shutter glasses + the Samsung monitor
GTX295 + Intel C2Q9550
I´m using Win7(64bit) with the 1.08 Drivers.

IF YOU WANT TO PLAY IN 3d

C:\users\documents\ArmA 2
.
.
.
refresh=120; (or 100)
.
.
.

and
rename the exe to bf2.exe
then
it looks like better.
good luck to you

i`m sorry i,am not good english

THis is a game I was looking forward to playing in 3d. I am watching this thread very carefully.
How many people have managed to force the 3d?
and
how well does the game perform in 3d with regards to ghosting/artifacts?

First of all
you must install this program

http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=88933

then you don`t need anything else

this program is more powerful to fix refersh rate than the others that i have used before

Even you don't have to rename the .exe file

I,am a CRT user
and i have tested it on vista32

i,am sorry i,am not good at english

Noice! Looks like you may want to turn off the bloom/post processing though. Particularly shown in the first shot with the 'glint' on the rifle.

How much success did you have with the original? Although it worked for me, all the soldiers were semi opaque and made the game rather unplayable. :(

If youre using Vista (like me), you have to add the "-winxp" parameter (without quotes) to the shortcut in order to activate 3D-Vision.

Looks really amazing! Can't wait for my TrackIR to arrive today :D
