When I run the 3dtv play setup, it says it's an hdmi 1.4 device. When I continue onto the shapes thing, it completely blocks my right eye, so it's pretty hard to see the shapes, even after I select my left eyes shape.
Also, one time I alt tabbed out of the setup and ran the other test, and it worked, but was flashing a lot.
I'm using 2 580s in sli and a mini hdmi cable that came with the 580s. I'm using it with a converter and a 25 foot hdmi cable.
I tried 266 drivers and 270 beta drivers, neither work.

Please try the following:
1. Update to 270.61. We specificaly made some fixes with 3DTV Play and SLI.
2. If #1 doesnt work, please disable SLI and re-run the wizard with 270.61.
3. If that doesnt work, let me know.

Thanks for the reply, but I now have a new problem. I cannot change my resolution to a 3D resolution. It just loses picture when I change it. Any suggestions?
Edit: I fixed the resolution problem, but when I run the medical image test, it's still in anaglyph mode.
Edit: this is getting frustrating, I just got off of the customer support live chat and they helped me try every single troubleshooting step they could think of, they said it must be the hdmi cable.
Right now I'm using a mini hdmi to hdmi, then hdmi to hdmi 1.4

For the users having problems, are you enabling 3DTV Play using the 3D Vision USB emitter connected, or do you have a 3DTV Play activation key you purchased.

I was using the 3dtv play 14 day trial when I got the results I reported. I have not tried reinstalling 3dplay since I moved my 3d vision USB emitter from my office PC downstairs to my home theater pc/mits 82838 to test the roller mod for 3d vision which works fine except for the red warning plastered at the bottom of the screen.

I gave up and am using the rollermod with 3dvision. Better resolution anyway but no reason it should not work. I have a new computer hooked up to it now. I may try it again and see if anything has changed with the newer beta driver.

Mits DLP owners should use only 3D Vision, never 3DTV Play. 3DTV Play restricts you to gross looking scaled 720P instead of beautiful 1920x1080 native resolution checkerboard at full 60 Hz framerate (3D Vision). Worse, 3DTV Play forces Video made instead of PC Graphics mode, the "double curse" of 3DTV Play.
Mits DLP is one of only a handful of 3DTVs that support native resoultion with 3D Vision, Mits owners should take advantage.

roller11,
On the newer 1.4a Mits, I don't even know if it matters since the Mits is going to convert the HDMI 1.4a 720p60 framepacked mode to 1080p checkerboard. Same as what the Mits 3DA-1 adapter does for HDMI 1.3a TVs.
Can someone clarify the image quality between running 3DTV play and 3D Vision on a newer 1.4a Mits? I don't think these DLPs have a "Video mode" and "PC graphics mode" like you get on your Samsung.
I'd be interested in hearing about the difference.
