Nice review, I agree AC2 is phenomenal in 3D Vision and definitely one of my favorites.

This game runs much better on GF100 hardware, I ran it with 2x280 in SLI and thought for sure it was CPU limited because I couldn't get more than ~40FPS in crowded cities, even with 3D Vision off. But once I upgraded to a GTX 480 I quickly found it could run the game at 62FPS capped with 3D Vision off, but still couldn't manage 60FPS per eye. After I got my 2nd 480 I was able to run in 3D Vision with both eyes capped at 60FPS, truly brilliant gaming experience.

There are some problems with 3D however, the diffuse soft shadows are off as mentioned in the review and can't seem to be turned off. Reducing shadow quality just reduces the resolution of hard shadows. There is also quite a bit of light/dark ghosting on LCDs at the top due mainly to the color pallette used. Lots of dark objects on sky, or dark objects on natural/mud colored buildings or streets.

Definitely play it with a 360 controller if possible and use the Xbox 360 wireless controller fix for a much more immersive gaming experience, with rumble and 3D Vision. :D

Yeah this game has been pretty enjoyable so far in 3D. The only complaints i have are the shadows and sometimes the sky seems to be at wrong depth or something. Performance on my gtx260 is acceptable, but def dips into the 20s at times.

It'd be so awesome if we could disable those circle/blob shadows under all the characters. They look aweful but the other shadows look pretty nice.

The 3d in this game is for the most part great. B+. The sky is too close, but not always noticeable. The blob shadows are incorrect, but not too much of a nuisance. And the HUD can be disabled, reducing clutter etc.
Worthy of note, check the convergence for your own taste, I played through most of it without adjusting it for good toy effect, and when i finally tweaked it for more pop-out the game was a whole lot nicer still :P
360 controller is very nice with this game too, if you don't own one, AC2 is a good reason to pick one up :)

Such fun fighting in AC2, the battles can horrific, violent and hilarious all at the same time!

AC : Brotherhood. SHould be out in the autumn (might be longer for PC release). Throws in a bit of multiplayer into the mix. Looks very interesting...
8 players each has to locate and kill one of the oposition. You will look exactly like one of the NPCs, as will they.
Could create some quite clever roleplaying/ sneaky tactics. :)
