LOL, you're right about the investigations, but get through them and the rewards will come to you :)

Okay, this sounds promising and you make me curious. But I already had to play the first investigation in the office several times via try and error principe and still did not get it done. I consider using actually a guide the weekend to get through it a bit faster.

Does anyone know what the last driver that worked with Chiri's fix was? It feels like driving around a model city with the default convergence at 100% depth.
Edit: Never mind, I can confirm it's working with 368.61 at least.

Hi all, I wanted to try this game again now that I've upgraded the CPU from 4930k @ 4.5 GHz to 8700k @ 5.0 GHz as 3D Vision was inducing a severe CPU bottleneck when I tried it last with 4930k and a 980 Ti.
According to commentary following the fix on HelixMod, 3D in this game is best accomplished using the GTA 5 profile but I can't seem to figure out how to run L.A. Noire with that game's profile and I've spent some time looking over the settings in NvidiaInspector.
I've tried adding L.A. Noire's .exe to GTA 5's profile but it's returning with an error.
How exactly do I run this with GTA 5 profile?
Any help greatly appreciated.

I've recently updated the L.A. noire profile in 3D Fix Manager to automatically install the required driver profile via 3dmigoto.
You probably got an error in Nvidia Profile Inspector because you have to remove the exe from the old profile first before you can assign it to another one.

Ah I see, looks like I will finally have to give your 3D Fix Manager a go, I've head about it about a year ago but didn't have enough games on hand to justify messing with it. Thanks for the prompt reply!!!

How do you unlock this? I've tried adding a convergence hotkey via 3dmigoto but the game didn't allow to change convergence.

It's Chiri's old unlocker that's used, it's contained in the fix on the blog, actually last time I played LAN, I used the fix without changing profile, and it worked flawless...

Thx Blacksmith. I just saw that the convergence mapper is also part of 3dmigoto and the settings for LA Noire are already in the d3dx.ini as comments.
I've just uncommented them and it works now. So the old DX9 fix is outdated now as we can play in DX11 + 3dmigoto. Side By Side / T&B... also works. I've reuploaded the fix for 3DFM.
