I will flag this with the QA team and see if we can reproduce it in house.

Hey thanks Andrew, appreciate the response. If you don't happen to have any HDMI 1.3 DLP TV's laying about, Bloody of the 3Dvision blog has been able to reproduce this effect without a DLP or HDMI by making use of windowed mode plus SLI on a plain ole LCD + DVI. More info at the following link

Andrew,
You guys seriously need to take a look at this issue this time. I had thought that Bloody had already mentioned this to you and I have had personal conversations with ManuelG about this one, and it is indeed frustrating. SLI and QUAD-SLI is basically worthless on Directx 9 games with a DLP setup. I know you guys are slammed but we've been harping about this problem for 3 or 4 months now.

I just recently purchased the Acer H5360. I haven't had time to fully test all possibilities yet, but I'm 90% sure this projector DLP is experiencing this same issue in SLI + HDMI. It's difficult to fully test, because when in SLI mode, the projector can't even display the image, but merely flickers between "signal processing" and brief glimpses of the screen.
When I get some time (and a longer cable) I want to give SLI over VGA a try on this projector. That test could be really illuminating as to the cause of the issue. Also, some tests on the various "windowed mode" options would be helpful.
Edit: Oops, didn't notice Andrew had posted on this again. Very exciting to hear NVIDIA was able to reproduce this in-house! Been waiting to finish Dead Rising 2 for months, as a single card simply cant handle this game in stereo. Will be looking forward to a fix :)

This issue has been resolved as of beta 270.51. What an April fools present . . . can activate SLI AND Areo. Official best driver update ever.
Bloody: if your watching this thread, can you see if this is resolved for LCD windowed mode also? Thanks.
Updated youtube video to reflect the fix also.
Thanks Nvidia!

It sure has. I confirmed it to Andrew on his thread concerning the 270.51 beta's here:
First I have to say that THE ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED WITH THE DRIVERS 270.61 !!!! (I'm not screaming I just want to be seen)
Ok, here is my experience:
I bought a second GTX 470 (the ASUS one) and put them in SLI
I tested it with mafia 2 in 3D vision and saw the problem right away, after some researches I found that I was not alone to notice a delay between the eyes...
There is my configuration :
Windows 7 64bits
2 x Asus GTX 470 in SLI
Drivers 270.61 in French
Projector Acer H5360
Here is something a bit special in my config, I cloned a full HD screen with the projector, when I start a game in 3D the resolutions changes to 720p and the game works in 2D on the full HD screen (with some vertical sync problems).
For me that works fine, I just mention it in case the cloning 3D-2D is the reason why the delay between the eyes is still present in SLI while you say that it is solved.
This evening I'll try some other games in 3D with the Acer H5360 only and see how it works.
I really hope that NVIDIA will take this issue seriously because the delay makes me sick very quickly so I can't play in 3D with SLI activated and that means I spent a lot of money to get an SLI motherboard, SLI power supply, a second card... for nothing (I had no problem to play 3D games for days with one single GTX470)
Thanks for reading
PS: If my english is funny please excuse me I'm french speaking...

I made more tests and the answer is yes absolutely, the clone mode makes the problem reapear but with my projector only (no clone) it works fine, no delay between the eyes.
Could you please tell me if this might be solved in a future driver release?
Since the projector is turned on only when I play, the clone mode is really needed for daily use...

I got the same problem with gtx-295 and zalman-display or anaglyph-mode.
I am waiting for a fix since last summer.
For what did i bought a gtx-295, if i have to disable sli to play stereoscopic?

Nope, not yet. I'm feeling your pain though. They need to get this fixed. I can use SLI in iZ3D but not Nvidia. That seems rather odd.

When I get some time (and a longer cable) I want to give SLI over VGA a try on this projector. That test could be really illuminating as to the cause of the issue. Also, some tests on the various "windowed mode" options would be helpful.
