Can't select my 3D vision ready monitor when I turn on 3D vision in NVIDIA control panel
Hello
I don't use 3D vision so often, so I keep it off in NVIDIA control panel, and turn it on only when I want to use 3D. I have the 3D vision ready monitor "ASUS VG278H" with 3D vision v2 glasses.
However, recently I had a strange problem. Whenever I turn on the stereoscopic 3D option in NVIDIA CP, it is set automatically to "3D Vision Discover", NOT my 3D monitor "ASUS 120Hz 3D LCD".. And if I select the ASUS monitor and click "Apply" button, it switches back to "3D Vision Discover" instantly.
The only thing that solves this is to re-install the GeForce driver (and perform a clean install) and set up the stereoscopic vision again. This is not applicable, of course, because I can't do all that every time I turn off 3D vision.
Another problem is that whenever I exit a 3D application, the 3D is turned off, but the display brightness remains dim, and doesn't get back to normal until I change the refresh rate or resolution to something else, then switch back to what it was.
Of course I have the latest GeForce driver.. I always do.
Please help me..
My rig:

Mother board: ASRock Z77 Extreme4
RAM: 8 GB (CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 1866 CL9 Dual Channel Memory Kit)
