Does this happen before or after you encounter the couple in the elevator after you meet Alex ( I am assuming Alex is the bald guy right?) I have not seen this up to that point (that's as far as I have played). We did note an issue last night with some lights that occurs even with no shader files, just the wrapper running. This might be one of them, in which case we need to track that down. What nvidia driver are you running, and what game profile are you using? Thanks for the quick feedback :-)

Thanks Mike, just gave it a spin and it looks insane. So much better then CM! I noticed two things: I deleted AI.EXE from the CM profile of Sniper Elite 3, but when increase convergence and hit CTRL-F7 it defaults back to it's "standard" convergence. Light on water reflections are a bit off with increased convergence. Other then that it looks fantastic, AI is perfect for 3D as it does not have a gunbarrel or HUD anything, allowing you to increase convergence quite a bit. PS. worked by extracting in Program files/Alien Isolation

I will see if I can properly sort them out, or perhaps add a parameter in the ini file that will make them work better at very high convergence.

I think its been this way since they let you keep profile settings between driver updates.

Hey Mike! The only problem I found so far is a bit weird...and Don't really know how you can fix it... After you get the motion tracker....I think 1-2h in the game, every time you use it the background becomes blurry (like the devs intended, no bug here). However it also becomes flat (2D). Picture. If you press fire it will change to focus from the foreground to the background and it will become 3D again... EDIT: This can be "fixed" by disabling DoF..yet breaks the immersion ^_^ (Also notice the banding in the lower part of the screen). Don't mind the reflections. Haven't applied the scissor fix yet:) I imagine we can push that 2D texture (I think it renders to a texture for the background) and push it in 3D like we do for the HUD for example... If you need a savegame or If I can help let me know;)) EDIT: Other things of note: - Gun Crosshair is 2D - These reflections are broken even if I set up rasterizer_disable_scissor=0. You will not get any shiny reflections on surfaces. (Tests were made on 880M single GPU, 344.11WHQL drivers)

But this is well worth knowing about. **EDIT I am possibly being pessimistic here and will have a quick look, it might be as simple as a render target setting in the ini file. b. The gun cross-hair is part of the HUD, I did not look at it bo3b did, so it might or might not be separable. At the very least it can be separated using the "Cutout" technique. c. The reflections are just wrong though, I may have missed a shader or two. The way they are sticking out the screen is the same default for all reflections without the fix. If you could turn on shader hunting in the d3dx.ini file and identify the pixel shader that renders the reflections (at the location where the gun screenshot is, and the one where the navigation widget is, because they are wrong also), I will have a look at them. I want to avoid looking at a save game so I don't spoil my experience of it :-)

Awesome!!! Thx DHR for the crosshair fix. Will look at it in 5 secs;)) EDIT: Same thing. However I managed to find the VS+PS for the crosshair (at least for the gun) and is inside the attached archive. Mike: I will try to hunt down the culprit for the reflections there;)) Also, the DOF should be a RT normally. (I forgot that in DX you can't render to textures directly and use that as an attachment to a FBO, but you use Render Targets;)) ) Edit: Mike I found quite a few PS shaders that deal with the reflections there. All of them are in the attached archive (Hope I managed to find the usable ones;)) )
