HMM that is weird..
- Is the game running in fullscreen? (although last I checked games now render in stereo3D also in Borderless Fullscreen mimic)
- Is it a DX x app? (or OGL)
or the developer did something on purpose to "ban" 3D vision which I HIGHLY doubt is the case anyway...
(since it would require some research to understand how to stop it...research which would better go into implementing proper support in the 1st place:)) )
I am having the same problem 3D vision will not turn on.. I am not totally sure but it uses a custom engine so I don't think it is either DX or OGL??
Unsure what to do but will keep looking for fixes on the web hey it is still beta ;)

Hmm.. I might be wrong...but I only know 2 major Graphics libraries...One is OpenGL (older, free and better, cross-platform etc) and the other is DirectX (newer, MS & XBOX only, a bit simpler and complicated in the same time:)) but much more commercial)
Unless they went to the huge expense to create a new different GL API which then need to integrate with the hardware at the driver level.. I doubt it...Probably is OGL....
You can easily gram MSI afterburner, enable OSD launch the game and see if it writes OGL or D3D9/D3D10/D311 and then we will know for sure;))

I Got it I had to enable the FPS counter in MSI After=burner and it shows which API the game uses..
And the million dollar question is it is DX11 ;)
OK now to look at Helix for fixes and possibly that will fix it..
This game uses HeroEngine which been used in Star Wars: The Old Republic and it`s DirectX 9. Developers also said that they want to upgrade this engine as good as they can so it might on more looks and works like the basic version.
Visually they did pretty good job - if you remember first look at it from a year or so.
Try SWTOR profile and see if that change something.

Q: We expect that The Elder Scrolls Online offers support for DX9 (again the good range of machines) and maybe for DX11 too? If not why do you stick to the DX9-API?
A: On Windows Vista and Windows 7, ESO runs with a DirectX 11 renderer, but we do still support Windows XP and DirectX 9.0c (shader model 3). We wanted players on launch day to get the big performance boosts and improved effects with DX11, but it is also important to let as many people experience the world as possible.

The game also has Dx9c support for XP users. I've tried to force dx9 rendering (-dx9 tag in shortcut exe) but no result.

I'm afraid it is not as simple.

Sounds great to me. I like when developers make theris own. Looks beautifull compare to other MMO (visually). Not so good 3D wise because we can`t get it right.
Did someone ask developers. They didn`t care about Skyrim so chances are slim but always worth to try.

I have not actually attempted this yet. I've run the game @ 4K however and I can tell you the game only works in full screen borderless windowed mode. As such you can not use things like 3d vision or SLI in its current state. I don't expect this until very close to release if at all during the beta cycle.

Yep that's what I suspected, a crappy windowed mode.

If its "fake full screen". 3D vision can still initialize if you are using 3d vision NOT 3D TV Play. If this is the case, I couldnt say since I dont have game.
Remove elder scrolls [exe] from elder scrolls profile using nvidia inspector.
Add elder scrolls [exe] to world of warcraft.
Launch game.
