OK tested LOSTI's Method and IT WORKS!!! But there are some IF and stuff to DO: - First like he says make a bat file and use his cmd lines to purge the shader cache - LOad the game from the same bat. (If I do delete them manually and later start the game from a shortcut it doesn't work...weird I know) MOST IMPORTANT PART: !!! BE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER WINDOW OPEN !!! So when you ALT+TAB you ALT+TAB to desktop and not another Application. Otherwise IT FAILS to kick in the wrapper AGAIN!!! Ähm and there is defenitely something wrong with the AO shader or the gras. Download that screenshot an watch this screenshot in 3D. Have a loock @ the gras left from my character and left to the quest-window. Without 3D you can see a difference in the shadow looking to the gras right to the top of my staff on the left and right eye. the left eye is still more intensive. This is still a minor issue but it is noticeable in areas with a huge amount of gras and bushes. The "wrong effect" will be more "impressive" when you are moving. Hi - I've seen this grass effect, it' kind of "smudgy" right? Don't know how to fix it though...

I actually think I have worked out what the true cause of my issues are, and its.... Having to use the Battlefield 4 profile in SLI I reset it to the default profile and then after loading the game up with the steps above and the shader cache on and it works... every single time. But only if I have SLI off. Now I am seeing why my install is erratic.... So its a problem with using the default profile on my EVGA 780 cards. With SLI on the default profile I get the issues in images attached. Basically a lot of the text elements will begin to render in 2d and I get weird texture corruption. If I use the Bf4 profile this problem goes away but then the fix is very unstable in both SLI mode and single card use even regardless of turning shader cache off. (as per my previous posts on the matter) So frustrating. Has anyone got any suggestions on what I can do to fix this or can recommend a different profile to try? (I have been through about 6 so far from AC to LOTF, all exhibit the same problems, either the issue with the default profile in SLI or failing to load the shaders right) I think this is the last straw and I am done with SLI

Really don't want to send this discussion of the rails but for what its worth it helps a fair bit, but my opinion is increasing to be one of, it not being worth the hassle and frustration.

For what it's worth, I am running mostly fine in SLI now. Becasue I do fixing I have to clean out my drivers all the time anyway so perhaps I am just used to the hassle.

Thanks guys. Yeah I have done everything bar reinstall my OS, which I don't think will make a difference but may try sometime this week anyway. I clean install my drivers with DDU every time. I just find it really peculiar it seems I am the only one who has this issue with the default profile in SLI. I just played for a few hours with the default in single card mode with shader cache on and the fix works perfectly, no crashes no broken shaders on zone, but its not a fun experience due to my frame rate. Anyone running this game on a single GTX 980? IF so whats the experience like? I'm seriously considering the upgrade.

Anyone running this game on a single GTX 980? IF so whats the experience like? I'm seriously considering the upgrade.

i7-4790K CPU 4.8Ghz stable overclock.
16 GB RAM Corsair
ASUS Turbo 2080TI
Samsung SSD 840Pro
ASUS Z97-WS3D
Surround ASUS Rog Swift PG278Q(R), 2x PG278Q (yes it works)
Obutto R3volution.
Windows 10 pro 64x (Windows 7 Dual boot)

[/quote] I use the BF4 profile in SLI, or I have also used AC4 with DAI SLI bits, and also Lords of the Fallen with DAI SLI bits. There are a few that work, but SLI performance and stability still varies - the main thing is to use the DAI SLI bits. Regarding a single 980, that should be comparable to my SLI 770 (probably better due to more VRAM). I was looking at this upgrade myself, but now I am fixing FC4 it turns out that only works properly in SLI (right now, though we might sort it out), and Lords of the Fallen works "better" in SLI as well (some things must be disabled in shaders in non-SLI). Also Saints Row 4 only worked in SLI. Contrast again with Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare and that only works in non-SLI... So really the best scenario would be to go SLI 980, but I can't justify that right now (I have been considering SLI SC 970s as a cheaper alternative). Sigh...

I am using the 344.09 drivers (for this game) with default profile. Then again I am running in Surround and SLI is a bit different in Surround than in Single Screen SLI. I really don't know what to say... I think an OS reinstall would be good. Or before that make a clean boot and try with the information found on HelixMod and the one from Losti;)) Which reminds me I need to wrap all the information so we can update the post on HelixMod;))
