Settings for games
Dear all,
I am playing wow with a laptop (Dual core processor and Geforce G210m). The laptop model is an acer aspire 7736zg!

I have noticed that under the nvidia control panel there are some options that I can configure for my 3d apps
Could you please help me by letting me know where to put those settings for WOW (but also for other games)?

Here you will find the settings I am talking to

If it is too hard to explain everything could you please send me some tutorial regarding those settings?

Those links aren't right at all.

I'm not real sure what you are asking about. 3D Vision is NVIDIA's system for viewing stereoscopic 3D.

Now we are getting somewhere, let's see if we can help at all.
Thanks for giving the model# like I asked http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=226267&st=0&gopid=1390221&

Unfotunately, I can not find a product page for that particular laptop or a website giving anything other than a little general information.
And, the links you have given for images are not working.

I'm going to assume what you are seeing is the control panel to enable 3D Vision Discover. Which is an Anaglyph 3D Format for non-3D Displays.
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-discover-main.html

While this will give you a 3D image, it will not look very good, due to the colors that are used.

If this isn't the case, try fixing your image links, as well as a link to a website with detailed information on the laptop.

There is a chance depending on your outputs that your laptop will work with an external 3D Display although not very well due to the Geforce G210m being an entry level GPU.

I hope this time I did it right

Laptop Model is Acer Aspire 7736ZG (It is hard to find a link with all my specs exactly).
My current specs though are
CPU: Intel Pentium T4300 (2,1 GHz 800MHz FSB) processor
GPU: Geforce G210M , Graphics Clock: 606MHz, Processor Clock 1468MHz, Memory Clock (790MHz) with 1580MHZ data rate, Memory interface 64bit. Dedicated video memory 512MB DDR3 (I have gotten those settings from my nvidia control panel).

I have to admit that a)for the money I spent two years before, b)for the gpu is thas I am more than happy with the performance I get some old lovely games. Just to name two : WoW and Medieval Total War II.

I am intresting to see if I can get something more just by tuning something from those parameters. Just to give few examples/questions
-When I play wow, my system has lot of RAM free. Can I somehow use some settings that will consume of the RAM and relax the GPU a little?
-Also only half of the GPU RAM is consumed (roughly) 256 out of 512. Can I also try to benefit from the free 256?
-As my GPU is that strong I would like to see if there are options that can relax it.
-Regardless of the freem ram available, which are in general the settings I should disable to relax the GPU?

I would like to thank you in advance for your help

Regards
Alex

Oh. You actually are not really in the right place here :) those are general 3d application settings, this is the 3D Vision forum which is something else altogether. This is where you should go: http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showforum=198

these settings are only useful if you want to force things like AA and AF which are not in the in-game options, otherwise you'll be fine with just leaving things as they are in there.
