Hello, I've read that nvidia is stopping the 3d technology with the new quadro driver 418.91.
https://www.touslesdrivers.com/index.php?v_page=3&v_code=7357
Is it right ? Will the fixes from helix mod still work, could we keep going to update the drivers or is it better to stay with 418.81 ?
What a pity, Nvidia prefers to keep focus on 4K and ray tracing technology ...

I am not sure what the OP read or saw, but 3D Vision is still part of the package:

(I also think and believe 3D Vision did far better in the commercial sector then the industrial one).
Dropping support for quadro means that proffessional sector doesn't use it as much as the consumer one.
I really hope they don't drop the support for us (3D Vision Ready monitors are still for sale) without at least giving us the ability to install the driver separately or build it, etc.

Sure, we can still use the old drivers. And we can also get them as separate parts not part of the bundle.
I don't think they will stop working, even they don't ship them as part of the bundle.
Nothing is black and white as it seems :)

If this happens for everyone, then wouldn't using older drivers be sufficient? If not, then couldn't we integrate the 3D driver with a batch file or something after normally installing the non-3DV drivers? There wouldn't be much of a choice if 3DV is to continue working with newer games. AFAIK, this forum is the last line of defense for keeping 3DV alive.

One issue would be when new cards come out. If it stopped would mean SLI Titan RTX would be the fastest 3Dvision capable card.
If/when 3D vision is done, then I'm done with Nvidia. I'd go back to AMD cards, like I was before 3D vision. I personally don't need the performance of a 2080 TI for 2D games :P.
The other funny thing is the 3Dvision forum is there most popular subforum other than there main support forum.
