170us is fine.

Did you run it while gaming? Sometimes you only have DPC spike while the network is active, or audio.

I cant chose between these two monitors.
One is 270 but with the 3d kit they both are about 400-500.

The Asus VG236H is 550 with shipping
The ViewSonic VX2268WM is 445 wuth shipping (with a 3d kit off fleabay)

I have USB 3.0 will I have the ghoast that 1/3 ppl get?
So should I get the ASUS or ViewSonic?

1680 x 1050 resolution in games gives better FPS when playing games.

The 22" and 23.6" does not mean one screen is bigger it is the measurement from corner to corner. the Asus is 1080 which means its short and wide but the Viewsonic actually taller and narrower. IMO the 1680 resolution is larger.

I don't watch movies on my PC monitor playing games at 1080 requires major Video card muscle.
