GREAT NEWS! I have officially mastered a technique to turn any Anaglyph movie into FULL STEREO 3D.
After days of trial and error, I've successfully managed to convert Coraline, in a turn key process.
All the frames match and it came out looking phenomenal. I have taken the liberty of creating a trailer for those of you who want to take a look; as I'm not sure as to whether your forums would allow me to share the link to the full movie.

SCREENS:
*SETUP: You want to play it so that the 3D version is on the left and 2D on the right
Some feedback:
I got it played. However the S3D effect is very weak, it's barely gone S3D and there seems to be some effect that bothers the eyes similar to that caused by swapped view only by doing swapping the views it still doesn't help.
I use stereo player, full screen, viewing method: Nvideo driver.
Don't quite understand the part you said about playing the 3D on left, 2D on right.

Agree with f3likx -- plays great in 2d, but I'm not getting a stereo effect. The system recognizes it as a stereoscopic movie b/c the IR emitter and glasses activate, but I'm not getting any depth effect (I've tried swapping left and right both ways). Am I doing something wrong? I'd really love to see this work! If you really have found a way to convert anaglyph to field-sequential you should look into patenting the technology (unless it already exists?).

I understand the 3d effect in the movie was slight at best anyways. only a few scenes had any noticeable 3d.
My bloody valentine 3d had some better effects, UP was slightly weak, monsters v aliens had some.
perhaps you can share how you did it?

The first few minutes of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince were brilliant in IMAX 3d, although I can't for the life of me figure out why they'd shoot the first scene in 3d but not the rest of the movie.

I hear you, perhaps it was put through a 3d process? I have a bunch of 2d movie TRAILERS that were turned into 3d by a company called Another World Inc.
jurrasic Park, Matrix, mission impossible 1.
The Matrix would be amazing in 3d! going by the trailer.
Perhaps i could host the file for my 3d brothers if they were interested?

Yeah, I have that Another World dvd as well. Pretty amazing stuff, minus that the quality is worse than VHS.
