Tried the inf approach but that only re-enabled all the different resolutions in the control panel but 3d vision was still a no no. It became very obvious that the EDID was messed up when I realised the projector's native resolution for pre windows startup was 640x480. Thankfully powerstrip attempted to repair the EDID.. although it kept failing every time and telling me the cable might be too long but I repeated the repair function about 30 times (each attempt returned the error that the EDID repair failed). Eventually 1 out of every 5 attempts Powerstrip did a tiny bit of EDID repairing which ultimately fixed the H5360... but I never did get a fully repaired EDID as the process never did fully complete and Powerstrip still maintains the EDID still looks corrupt... but everything seems to be working perfectly now :D

its the stuff they paint the "autobahn" with ( the highway), you know, the devil is in the details though ;)
Its called a "glass beaded" screen. There are different grades within glass beaded screens, ranging from 100-200 USD commercial noname (grainy), to the pretty expensive DA-Lite High power (non grainy).
