This is for those who sometimes find 1080p24 95% usable or usable. I noticed that turning the color depth down to 16bit increased the playability in Fallout 3 from horrendous and disappointing to totally playable. I ended up turning down the mouse sensitivity a tiny bit too and that helped give a very natural feel to the mouse movement.
What i still don't know is am i missing any significant part of the color gamut using 16bit over 32bit.

BTW , 3dfx voodoo used dithered 16bit , they say banding was obvious here and there ( on CRT....!!!) or so I heard, must be content related, good compromise with LCD I say. Cause Its washed out and has spoiled spectra anyway.

I just loaded up Metro 2033 in 1080p24, didn't notice any loss of colors or banding. There was new geometry in an area i test in frequently though, that was a surprise....

is it any faster ??? Maybe that sucker revertede back somehow to 32 bit, so it can't be helped with extra fps.
