Mass Effect: Andromeda - 100% (plus 10%) - 3D VISION Ready Fix
2 / 22
I didn't forget about the fix. I am still tweaking it, when I have free time.
Is the most annoying game that I have fixed so far. You have so many modes:
- 3D person shooter
- 3D Person walker
- Nomad mode
- Galaxy Map
- Regular Map
Not to mention the 1001 menus that all want different convergences and tweaks. The UI is all over the place when pushed in 3D. Some geometry also doesn't render properly in some modes (like looking outside the Tempest window) and the list goes on.
When I am satisfied with the fix, I will release it, don't worry:)

I never bothered to finish this game, just didn't find the writing compelling compared to the previous games. (actually it's pretty awful), but a 3d fix will definitely push me through the door to finish my playthrough.

Actually, Initially I thought the same... Then I realized... Is not supposed to be like the previous ones, where you have this "Race against time plot"... quite the opposite! "Explore"...
The game only gets better and better and the ending is awesome! I can definitely see how they took inspiration from the Witcher 3 with the side-quests as each tends to have a story around it...
I am actually on my 4th playthorough (Hardcode difficulty as an Explorer class - the hardest to tackle of them all and I believe this is the only difficulty the game should be played at) and every single time I enjoy the story but mostly the world!
I think people expected something else and were disappointed by what they got, since it changed the dynamic of the story;)
You should at least play it for the Main Campaign and ignore the side-quests (if you don't want to do them)
Also, ver 1.10 is totally different than v.1.00 (v.1.00 looked like an alpha build compared to this one).
Anyway,
I will release a fix shortly. It will not be 100% fixed like said before but it will definitely make the game fully playable in 3D Vision (without anything disabled).
Edit:
I'll just leave this here:

Proves who think games are great and why they "suck"! I am one of those that believe this game is purely awesome! (Next to Mass Effect 1,2,3! Or better yet, just PLAY the damn game and have your own conclusion ^_^ )

The plan is to release it in the weekend. It does need some write-up or a video showing what is what in order to get the best out of it.)

Holy shit just finished my bathroom restauration so I am ready but I have to start the game from the beginnning, because its over a half year ago that I have played it...hence this is the time I have to decide: Should I start with the new fix (not 100 % fix as you say) or should I wait for the "final" one, so HELI .... please tell me if you are able, or will try to bring it to the end, the "3D Vision Ready Sate" or if the release you announced for this weekend is another "pre-relase" that will further be improved in the near or later future ???
Please note: The time you will relase a really satisfying FIX (compared with 0.6) you will receive another donation for this hard work. Even if you cannot fiy any detail but bring back the holy shit lightning as good as you can.

This WILL BE THE FIX!
After literally hundreds of hours on this, THIS will be the FINAL and last fix that I make for this game.

I mentioned before, there is one problem with one type of Compute Lights: From the 6 Compute Shaders that all seem to affect it I couldn't figure it out which one needs to be modified and where. Frame Analysis, while an awesome tool, didn't help me too much as all the shaders HAVE THE HEADERS STRIPPED. As a result, I have no idea what the Constant Buffers really are.
If someone likes to be more masochistic than me and try to find the last problem, please be my guest ^_^
Now for the remaining problem:
- Some type of Point Lights clip (tiles)
- It Can be corrected by lowering the Depth to 50% (based on your Monitor size)
- In this game (and all Frostbite games) I seem to get an excessive depth on my 17" Laptop compared to my 27" Monitor.
- The fix WILL WORK properly only when you set the Monitor Size to 27" (Will be covered in the release video).

( All Images were taken on my 17" Screen where the DEPTH is BIGGER than on 27" inch! With the 27" Depth Monitor Size this will be even better!)
But as you can see, only a few lights (5%) are affected and everything is spot on! There are some areas where there are lots of those tiny point lights, where lowering the Depth will do wonders:) (F11 will be your BEST Friend:) )
I made a video of the first 30 Minutes of the game showing how the fix works (with a Monitor Size of 27"). If this is not 3D Vision Ready, then I don't know what game is:)

He is going to explain it when he releases the fix. There is a registry setting that you can change for monitor size. You can still play on any size monitor, we will just in a sense be "telling" the nvidia 3d vision software we have a 27", even though we may have something else. There is actually already a post that describes how do this.
