Ah, one key difference is that I'm using the direct R* version, not Steam version. I can't bypass the update from the R* launcher, without a lot of hassle, so I'm playing the fully updated version. I put my page file back to normal (automatically manage), as they finally fixed the primary memory leak. That was necessary before, but it's been fixed. The red on screen OutOfMem is VRAM not system RAM, and that is drawn by the driver, not GTA. The earlier crashes were all system RAM.

Same problem for me. Really wanna play in 4k on my oled. I ordered a high speed rated cable to test out and see if the colours go back to normAL. U can alt tab and u will see the screen flicker and instantly go blue.

I had the same problem with occasionally with tomb raider, but I could alt tab and it would go back to normal. GTA 5 however, will always go blue and stay that way. I've tried many different drivers, and it always happens. I'm also running a 980ti, but I had the same problem with 970 as well.

That seems related to only passive 3D?
I already did this several times, didierh. I even uninstalled the game yesterday because I have this strange issue with the game being displayed 3D-like even in 2D (3D switched off in SETTINGS). I thought maybe something is corrupt with my game files. Unfortunately when I reinstalled the game I was facing the same issue again. I can't even activate 3D since everytime I switch to 3D the game does the mandatory restart which gives me the "out of memory"-warning which leads to the game launching in 2D only!
Try this latest "crazy" tip : when you start the game, press "ALT+ENTER" to get the "windowed mode", just wait you get the main menu and repress "ALT ENTER" to get back to "full screen mode" launch the "story mode" and once in the game, hit "CTR+F4" once ...It works for me ...sorry, I can't do more ...
That seems related to only passive 3D?
Seems so... Never had that happen with 3D vision 2 glasses and monitor setup. Do you by any chance have a dvi cable with a DVI to HDMI adapter? Wondering if maybe it's an HDMI issue? You could connect from the DVI out on the video card to the HDMI input on the TV.

Blue colors issue is related to Passive 3D TVs, I have a 1080p LG TV and have this problem since the game launch. It occurs when I change graphic settings of GTA. If I don't mess with graphic setting everything looks normal and can play for hours.

I've seen that blue issue on my monitor too (dvi), so it's not only passive TVs. Though maybe it's linked to running at 720p.

I've seen the blue color since the game first released on passive and checkerboard at 1080p 3d. I always thought the game was falling back to some broken anaglyph. The interesting thing was Max Payne 3 never had this problem with 3d vision.

So I tried out 3D vision with a GTX 980 Ti (overclocked by a moderate amount). As others have experienced, when I loaded the game back up for another play, the 3D vision setting has disabled itself and I had to reset it, forcing a restart of the game. Annoying. I've heard people say that this has happened repeatedly. What's even more annoying about that is that NVidia's setting already defaults to damn Anaglyph mode everytime I start my computer, meaning I have to go into the settings and change it EVERY TIME I START MY COMPUTER. That's a whole other story though. I've asked for help on that issue multiple times on these forums and nobody from NVidia has actually provided any support despite the issue being experienced by large amounts of users. In benchmarks, with most settings set to High I was averaging about 30fps. Not fantastic. On my second play-through, I also noticed an extreme amount of ghosting occurring, and this made the game unplayable unfortunately. I also noticed a few graphical oddities during the benchmark. I wouldn't even mind running the game at 30fps, but if I have to deal with all that other hassle then it's not really worth it, so I'm going back to running it without 3D glasses.

Hello again, I haven't played the game much for a while but I came back to ask a question because I think I'm possibly an idiot but...How do you shoot people in this game? My eyes either focus on the crosshair or the people, so if I aim at a person, I see two crosshairs. If I look at the crosshairs, I see two people. Same deal with the overlay crosshair. I just don't get it, is there a way to make the crosshairs move to the depth of an object that's in front of your scope no matter how near or far?

Sounds like you need to play around with your depth and convergence settings.

@nvforumpasswordssuck - for GTA, the crosshair should automatically adjust it's depth to match what you are aiming at. If it is not doing that, you have found a bug. Maybe try reinstalling the game and/or your drivers, or messing around with in-game settings. Sorry I can't provide more specific help.
