New 1080p 3D DLP projectors now available Texas Instruments say multiple brands are now shipping...
"LAS VEGAS, Jan. 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Instruments (TI) (NYSE: TXN) DLP® Products makes viewing quality, High Definition (HD) projection in 3D at home a reality with the announcement of multiple brands shipping 1080p 3D projectors. 3D 1080p from DLP provides consumers the ability to be immersed in film-quality images for everything from movies to gaming to sports, all powered by the dynamic DLP chip structure. Brands including Samsung and Sharp are showcasing the current 1080p 3D systems, which are now available for purchase, at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this week."
Anyone know anything about these new projectors? I'm trying to find a projector that can do 1080p 3D with 3D Vision, DLP preferably since it's crosstalk free. But it seems that no 3D 1080p projector supports dual link DVI so perhaps what I'm looking for doesn't even exist. I'm lead to believe that a Mitsubishi 82" DLP TV is as big as I can play 1080p 3D games on?

They'll almost certainly require 3dvision play, and have all of the associated HDMI 1.4 restrictions.
