What happened with conventional 3D anaglyph ?
Hi all, i have a 560 ti 1gb and a Samsung SyncMaster BX2450 (no 120hz, no 3D vision ready). My question is that if there is any way to activate the 3d effect on this configuration(anaglyph). I have to mention that i use to have a GT 9500 in the past and a more less performant monitor that the actual one (a LG W2240s). The thing is that on the provious configuration when i was checking "Setup stereoscopic" in nvidia cpl the anaglyph effect (mixed read cyan colors, double layered frame) comes out and i could play almost any game in 3d. Now when im trying to check the "Setup up sterreoscopic" thing, the monitor goes black (it's like when u change resolution) and it says not optimum mode/out of range. Now, i've tried on the other monitor i have from CCTV, it's a small 15" noname, but the fact about it is that is shows the real H/V hertz of the actual input. And when i plugged into this one showed like 241 vertical sync HZ. Anyway all i want to know is if you give up on the conventional way, and implemented the way that only works with 120hz nvidia 3d ready monitors ? I can understand people must buy the kit for that to work...

This should still work. You are looking to activate the NVidia Discover mode, which is in the control panel. Discover mode should work with any monitor, regardless of type. What you are seeing there is that the driver thinks it can set your monitor to 120Hz. Try to figure out how to make that option not available, so it won't go black. Alternatively, you can run the script that we use to automate this, which sets all the settings without having to run the Setup.
