I'm in the beta. I don't really care for racing games, but I thought I'd check this out all the same.
3D looks pretty reasonable, for an Ubisoft title. There's quite a few things that are broken, but not to the point of making it unplayable. No giant eye-bleed-inducing halos or anything. Shadows are slightly off, as are a few lighting effects. But they're not off by much. The biggest issue is lens flares from the sun and headlights are at screen depth, which is annoying. If those could be disabled, you'd probably be able to ignore the other issues. Importantly, most in-world HUD elements are at correct depth. Performance seemed a little on the sluggish side, but I only spent 10 minutes with it, and didn't attempt any performance tuning beyond toggling settings to see if I could improve the 3d. You can turn shadows off (though they're mostly not too broken), but not the lens flares.
I can post screens if anyone wants to see them. Might be a good candidate for 3dmigoto fixing, I'd imagine just disabling a few things would make for significant improvements.

How does 3Dmigoto work with online games like this.
I had to raise the fps cap to 60 and surprisingly it works very well. I tried the 3D vision but I had issues with the lights, so I myself went back to basic 2d Surround gameplay.
I will definitely add feedback to their forum in regards to 3D vision

The game looks GREAT in 3D, but those artifacts are ruining the experience :(
Car lights are acceptable. But a whole hill is in shadow in one eye, and in full sun in the other. That makes my eyes bleed :(
It runs with fake 3D, but as you can see in the topic next to this one (fake 3D depth), I have a major problem with separation. In real 3D I played The Crew at 85% depth/separation, which gave me about 6-10cm of separation on my 24" monitor. In fake 3D max I can set is 1-2cm. That's not even close.
I'd prefer fake 3D instead of 2D to be able to play on 80-100" screen (virtually) than on a tiny 24" monitor in 2D. With this low separation I got something like 30", and this game is all about big world. I don't FEEL it big, when playing on a tiny screen. In real 3D, I feel I'm there - I FEEL that something is 600m away. In 2D or fake 3D with blocked depth - I don't. I feel like I'm playing some game.

I definitely wouldn't say great. I wouldn't even say good. But it's playable.
It's not letting me play right now, some kind of authentication issue. I'll post screens when I can.
I have been playing the beta also , the game looks pretty bland in 2d , but quite nice in 3d minus the broken shadows and lights from other cars etc. Hope this one gets a fix :D

Just tested The Crew @ 3d Surround.
Performance is ok, settings medium-low (40-50 fps) @ 780 SLI.
Carlights and shadows with issues, but not to bad.
Could someone of you fixing experts have a look?
That would be great!
Is it assessable to fix this game watching my linked screenshots above?
Hi - it's impossible to say just looking at screenshots unfortunately. Some games look absolutely horrible and can be fixed, some look like they have "minor" issues and can't. Someone needs to get the game and look.

Thanks for answering my question.
Fixing and all this stuff is impossible for me.
English isn´t my mother tongue and on the other hand I got a full full time job.
The only thing I can do for 3D Vision is keeping these 3D Vision toppics in western europe alive.
I`m responsible for the biggest exchange of experience about 3D Vision in german spoken forums.
2 years ago I started a thread about 3D Vision and beyond and I care about it with hundreds of hours a year, for free ... like you fixing games.
This thread has been clicked about 250.000 times an was commented about 4.000 times.
My whole community switched to 3D Vision after reading and testing 3D Vision an also a lot of other members in german spoken forums.
It would be a honor if someone of you fantastic modding guys saying hello there. You can register there for free and let our community know that 3D Vision is still alive because of you.
