Simple question that I cannot find the answer to. As you may have guessed, I have a ViewSonic V3D231 which can run TriDef (passive 3d). If I buy a pair of 3D Vision 2 glasses (with IR Emitter), will this monitor be able to support it?
Notable Facts: Cyberpower PC says this monitor is Optimized for nVidia 3D Vision 2, but ships with TriDef and polarized glasses. This monitor only has a 60HZ refresh rate, is that important?

please always check the following links first, for legit Nvidia 3D display options

if your display is not among all those displays listed...it's either that Nvidia 3D will not work or you need some more or less complicated ways of tweaking and hacking.

my bad. still though, it really isn't "Nvidia 3d vision ready" type of solution.
the OP should've asked about how to hack his/her display to do 3D vision.
