I bought my Samsung for about 1100$ which isn't too much more than the 3 nice LCDs that you need for eyefinity which we are comparing against. It's not the most affordable thing in the world but a good eyefinity solution isnt that much cheaper.

why is eyefinity even being mentioned? Wow three monitors does not equal 3D. Id rather have a small 22" monitor in 3D then 3 30" monitors side by side. It's like comparing apples and oranges. Eyefinity has nothing on 3D vision and I truly hope eyefinity fails so that AMD will go with a proper S3D solution. I use to play my PC games on a 1080p 110" epson 6500 projector (very good projector) and now I play on my 22" samsung. Guess what, the Samsung is much more emersive then playing on my 110" 2D projector. Even if I had 3 projectors at 110" for eyefinity, I would still rather play in 3D on my 22" monitor. Next year I hope to be playing on a 110" 3D projector. Now that would be something!!

Every bad word out there hurts our chances of this moving on and staying around for good.

I totally agree Conan...I demo it to my father and mother in law yesterday and they were amazed and they dont care for games. :-)
As I have been saying 1000 monitors of 2D world do not match the experience of real 3D. /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
The best thing about the technology is, the new batch of displays will support 3d, wether its designed for it or not just due to the high refresh rate. I mean 120hz input here, not interpolated stuff. I see more and more demos of laser projection or the alternating polarizing built into the display. So, there still is the battle over which will really be better, but none of these detract from the 2d experience. Same thing for digital movie theatres, its just going to be rolled into a more normal movie projector systems. There is a lag for 3d content, but that is fine if it doesnt add to the cost of a normal display.
