stereoscopic player + shutterglasses problems with slingshot DVDs
hello!
I just acquired several Slingshot DVDs - SOS Planet (and some horror movies mainly because a cheap package included two wired shutterglases).
Just before getting DVDs, I watched SOS Planet trailer in the side by side format, and I could get it working perfectly - both in the interleaved and the software page flip mode.
Im using Stereoscopic player (unregistered) and E-D activator. The trailer works perfectly still, so im sure that all components are OK (the player, the activator and the shutterglases).
My problem with Slingshot DVDs apparently is related to my inability to figure out a proper settings for Stereoscopic player.
Here is how I did try to watch them with Stereoscopic player:
under file->layout I set to Interlieved
under view->viewing method-> I set to interlaced
and I set E-D activator to Interlieved.
The problem is that the picture which I get - looks exactly like I would try to play the 3D movie with a normal DVD player - I get extreamly separated doubled image.
I thought that the way to adress this problem would be to reduce separation, but this option is grayed out (although at the same time it is possible to adjust convergance).
Im at loss what have I missed in order to get it working properly.. I know how the proper stereo movie should look like because of the trailer which I mentioned previously which works perfectly.
