Annoying problem

Hi.

When i enable 3d stereo, screen turns into red/cyan, but with weird "red layer". Here's some pictures:
<- As you can see it's ok and no "red layer" over screen.

Very annoying and almost impossible to play with mode activated.

I had this exactly problem. It appeared after I disabled and later enabled the Stereoscopic on nvidia control panel for the first time, i just reinstaled the drivers and everything is ok now.

cheers

are you sure you set EXACTLY your 3d vision glasses mode in setup? everything looks like you just turn anagliph mode on in setup and when 3d mode active you get red-blue images. try to reconfigure by pressing "run setup wizard" from Nvidia control panel -> stereoscopic 3d ->set up stereoscopic 3d ->test stereoscopic (black arrow for pop up menu) -> run setup wizzard. DO NOT CHOSE anaglyph glasses in there

Doesn't matter, had problem on old HDD and new...so not Windows fault i think.
And could you guys stop with "reinstall -anything-" posts?

Can someone from nV developers help?Seems i'm not the only one who "suffering"

This problem really is getting ridiculous

Everyday day now im getting this problem, the nvidia back lit logo is blue, screen has red tinge - and nothing works

Im re-installing the drivers everyday now.

I concur if the developers could post a comment would be very much appreciated.

I have tried just simply re-installing the drivers and completly removing, then intalling - with identical results, ie working for a time, and then suddenly not

my dxdiag is attached

Hi

Let me make sure I understand your problem.

You have a 3D Vision kit (Samsung, projector, or DLP). Sometimes during gameplay, the mode switch to red/blue, right? This is our anaglyph mode and can be confirmed by checking the control panel to see the Stereosocpic 3D mode is set tp 3d Vision Discover.

is this correct?

Nope,

I have 3dvision kit, running on samsung 2233 monitor using driver 1.09

everything will work brilliantly, then after the next restart or maybe sometimes 2 restarts, suddenly 3d stops working all-together (not while in use, straight from restart), I'll notice the light on little black box is not green, sometimes blue, will go to nvidia util and run test, and it will look exactly as the 1st shows - a red tinge

the medical test is exactly the same looks red, and not work

the only solution is to remove driver and re-install, this will then work fine, the next day - back to square one again

thanks for looking into

Greetings.

No, i have anaglyph glasses (red/cyan). When i enable 3d stereo mode i get 'red tinge' all over screen (Check screenshots #1 post)
I attached screenshot with IZ3D anaglyph mode:
- As you can see, perfect stereo mode WITHOUT red layer all over screen. Problem occurs only with nvidia stereo.
I don't want playing with IZ3D all the time (very buggy) and prefer nV's default.
