Yay, got the 196.75 geforce + 196.21 3D Vision + 196.75 3D Vision installed.
It's been 5 months since the release of CD 1.15 in October last year and more than couple of months since Avatar (the game) before my Samsung DLP can be detected by Nv graphics cards! I suspect there must be some internal sabotage going on with the 3D Vision group to create the perfect business window for Nv competitors. That or self destruct tendency. Nv needs to hire some corporate detective to sniff this one out. Or get a corporate shrink.

Hey distant /wave.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Can you explain how you did it please? I have the same tv setup and am on the old 1.15.
I would really appreciate it. /woot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':woot:' />

EDIT: Looking back, I don't see the point of installing the stereo driver 196.21 from CD 1.20. It looks like a redundant step.

Sure.
- Install geforce 196.75
- Install 196.21 (from cd 1.20) stereo driver. Say "yes" when asked to overwrite. (Some say "no" here)
- Install 196.75 stereo driver. (I used Bloody repackaged stereo driver - Thanks Bloody, great blog), the USB 3D Vision emitter didn't got detected (Probably because I said "yes" to all the overwrite questions)=> Use Device Manager to update the "Nvidia stereoscopic 3D USB device" and point to the extracted folder and wait for it to install.
- Reboot.
- That's it, at this point run the wizard, and it detected my Sammy DLP.
Good luck and enjoy,

I've been using Nvidia System Performance tool (version 6.05) to set the fan profile according to the GPU temperature, I chose to have it loaded when Windows starts. I've used EVGA precision, Riva tuner, but Nvidia SP is the best in term of ease of use and effectiveness. It has the best graphical fan profile programming user interface bar none. You can also verify its performance with tool like GPU-Z (Guru3D). You can download the system tool from Nvidia software/utilities page, within the package there are 3 utilities, you need only select the system performance tool, after install it will show up in Nvidia control panel, you need to first read thru and agree with the disclaimer tab then the utilities will show themselves for use.
Thanks Distant as always but after reading some more posts about it, it looks like it would destroy my card (9800GT 1GB).

Now the setup wizard wont work (saying my gtx 280 isn't compatible with 3d) even though 3d works fine. Does anyone know the reg setting to change the ir tower surroundings setting? You know, the one ir tower, other ir sources and many ir towers in one room (gaming environment).
EDIT: I figured it out... I just needed to go into medical test image and then hit back a few times and then go through the setup that way.
