Can 8800GS 384M support 3D-Vision, CUDA & PhyX 'cause I am thinking of getting one right la.
As title. One of my colleague want to sell me his card and he will upgrade to 275. Can anyone help me to answer the above question? Highly appreciated! Thanks! /thumbup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

It'll work - an 8800 is basically an 8800, plus or minus some shader processors and with different clockspeeds and ram.

Yes while it may work, why would you want to do anything pc related with the bare minimum. You will be setting yourself up for disapointment. Why dont you borrow your buddies card and see how your games run now, then cut the framerates in half. If you think your games will still be okay for you then thats fine and I say go for it. Keep in mind that most of the problems I have seen with 3d vision is due to lack of graphical balls. I had 8800gt amp editions in SLI and it demolished all my games but considering that 3d vision halves your performance I could tell I needed more power before I even got it. I ended up getting 2 gtx275 F.T.W.'s and I have had very little problems at all and I can still max every game out even in 3d. It comes down to what u will be happy with but if your a perfectionist like me and you dont have the money for a new gpu then I would wait it out rather than ruin your first experience with 3d vision.

I am not sure about it as if I go to the product features page of 9600GSO (G92 version, which actually the same with 8800GS 384M) also has not mentioned 3D Vision support:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/product_gefor...600_gso_us.html

So weird. Anyone with 8800GS or 9600GSO tried before and can confirm about this? Many thanks!

It'll work. It'll be slow as balls, but it will work. You just won't enjoy it.
