It's the one month "Still no f**king patch" anniversary!

Well done Nvidia you really leave the competition standing when it comes to broken promises!

Hey, that's a bit unfair. Andrew is a good bloke, who believes in the product and wants us to get the best experience out of it. He's probably off somewhere raising he'll on our behalf. I bet he'll be back with a nice update shortly.

at least if he told us that, that his working on it, we wouldn't be here flaming him

ohhh and congratulations 30 pages for the 30 days you've kept us here without an update /clap.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Nothing new here. Nvidia has a very negative past supporting 3d drivers. I think now they are doing something better than I expected..., but of course far away to be enough.

Well they kind of did state that they are working on it on the drivers release... I don't expect to see a fix until the next Nvidia driver release and then I don't expect them to release it early just to keep us 3D gamers happy.

Maybe if we had more of an impact on Nvidias bottom line we would get more action :)

In the meantime there are other new games to play that work well in 3D Vision like Duke Nukem Forever and Alice:Madness Returns. Next week we also get Dungeon Siege III.

Finally reached Flotsam Tavern again; 8-9 FPS. 11-12 when facing a wall :P
Outside 30+ and smooth.
Funny, does not seem to matter what your specs are, the FPS are capped at 8FPS at the tavern. And the Lavallete dungeon is almost as bad, played that part with 3D off.

Also tested disabling and re-enabling the Nvida 3D process in services. When enabling it the shadows was locked at screen level; never tried reloading a game, might have re-set the shadows to the right depth.

I'm looking forward to a fix for the indoor low FPS.
I've had very little problems with this game so overall I am pleased with the experience.

Fingers crossed that the 1.3 patch fixes the 3D problem :D

I guess I'm just really unlucky or my GTX 570 is way underpowered for the job. But, for those who are experiencing decent frame rates out doors - can you please try the following?

Using 275.33 drivers:
1. disable the 3D vision driver from the control panel (NOT the hide effects check box)
2. Start the game, load a save game somewhere outdoors. Note the frame rate.
3. exit the game
4. Enable 3D vision in the control panel, and do not check "hide effects on start-up.
5. Start the game in full 3D vision mode
6. Load the same save game from step 2, and note the frame rate.

When I do this, I get a SUBSTANTIAL differential in frame rate. It should be a 50% hit in 3D mode, give or take.
I am wondering if those that are getting playable frame rates outside just have super powerful rigs, and don't notice that they are still getting an 75% reduction in frame rate.

Anyone willing to give it a go?

I have a GTX 590 and I can tell you that the framerates are substantial OVERALL! They are just worst indoors. So no, it's not your 570.
