What's your favorite game in 3D?

Witcher 2 is not even close to keeping a candle to Alice s3d-wise. It's like Arcania elevated to relative playability. I am not arguing gameplay here, only 3d experience. See recent posts on Dolphin Wii emulator - you will find gems in there no one even suspected existed ^)

Fallout 3 + Fallout NV, but also The Sims 3 and Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, both are just amazing in 3D.

I think I'm going to get bad press for this but, Crysis 2 and Far cry 2 are my fav. I can't really get batman aa to work with playable framerates so haven't been able to experience that little gem. :o(

Need for Speed Shift is incredible in 3D Surround. The view from the cockpit is nuts! Hawx 2 has some of the best 3D effects I've seen in a game.
Far Cry 2, COD Black Ops, Assassins Creed 2, Left 4 Dead, Fallout New Vegas, Portal, Gears of War, Crysis 2, BFBC2.
Dead Space 2 is good, with the depth turned all the way down. I love that game though.

I should point out that, I had bad crashing with NFS Shift in 3D Surround, but dedicating PhysX to the CPU made it run completely stable.

Games I would like to see get 3D profiles: Fear 3, NFS Shift 2 and Star Wars Force Unleashed 1 and 2.

Alice Madness Returns is the best 3D experience currently out there.

I really wish they could get NFS Shift 2 working. I started playing in 2D a while back, but just couldn't continue... It's so hard to play a 2D game anymore.

Hmm were to begin...

3D Surround:

- Dragon Age 1 & 2
- Assassins Creed 1,2, Brotherhood
- Witcher 1 & 2.
- Darksiders.
- Portal & Portal 2 (some crosstalking here and there but not so problematic overall)
- Fable 3
-Gothic3 & ArcaniA Gothic 4 looks absolutely nice (you need to make some fov tweaks and the game is not 100% stable at max resolution)
- Dead Space 1 &2 (shadows are a bit annoying, but you get used to it)
- Divinity 2 Dragon Knight Sage (general problem with shadows...you can disable them for 100% perfect 3D or keep them on low and get used to them)
- Star Wars Jedi Knight 2 & Academy with opengl warkaround.

Single Monitor:
- Mass Effect 1 & 2 (with some tweaks to remove lens flares)
- Star Wars BattleFront 2 & Republic Commando.

Star Wars the force unleashed I can find it pretty playable in 3D Surround. However SWTFU2 is completely unplayable in both Surround or single monitor:( I don't believe they will implement a patch for 3D Vision thou...

Hi,

I'm not really a gamer but when I tried resident evil 5 in 3d vision, I got addicted, I finished the game 2 times already from novice level to intermediate, Final fantasy XIV is also great, when it comes to old school, super street fighter is also good.

Hi -- Mass Effect 1 in 3D I found to be quite good out of the box. But ME 2 I have considered "barely playable" because of it's high amount of irritating objects/effects rendered at the wrong depth. How have you tweaked those lens flares? Are there other things to 3D-tweak in this game?

I'd very much like to play ME2 in 3D if it were not that straining to the eyes!

Search for ME2 in this forum. Or go to solutiongamings webby. There is a way to remove the lense flare which makes it much easier to play. People like Tritosine have fixed aspects of the game. It becomes very playable. :)

Thank you. The forum-search doesn't work well, but I found some threads about ME2's 3D. Will look into them next time I play the game!

Quake III Arena - The Longest Yard level, of course. The laser sight is located on your target in the distance, just like in real life, only better because everything is in crystal clear focus and at over 600 FPS and rockets flying everywhere, and set the rail-gun trail time to about 1000 so you see 3D laserbeams everywhere, its definitely the best in 3d ever. I gotta post this one on facebook / 80063r

Now that drivers and game have been patched up, Witcher 2 is flat out incredible! I haven't seen any anomolies at all!! Alt-tabbing out of the game and back in does seem to mangle shadows until you reload but who would want to alt-tab out of this game?

The game is now on top of the "show off to visitors" list.
