I'm using a GTX 980 Ti in 3D Vision. The weirdness you hint at is not present in my case. (It just seems that all drivers compatible with this card underperform in (many) older games ...)

I have problems with dirt rally. i use basicly stock settings. after installation i usually change the power mangemode to maximum perfromance and vsynch always on. i have win7 professional. just did a clean install. by the way do you guys use DDU when ever there is a new driver installation.

I've been doing fine with running 3D on two 980Ti's under Windows 10, with the exception of Witcher 3 which is a known problem. Some games SLI works, some it doesn't.
