Poor 3dvision performance in all Batman Arkham Games
  3 / 3
Recently upgraded from a 660ti to a gtx 1060. I had to install newer drivers as the 1060 is not supported by the drivers I used to make Arkham smooth on my 660ti. Unfortunately the stuttering and low GPU usage is still a problem with the latest drivers and a 1060. Who do I report this issue to, or does Nvidia not care about this issue?

For example I loaded up Arkham City running the same settings I used before with my 660ti. DX11 Off and 1600x900 resolution. In the Courthouse with 3d disabled in the Control Panel I get 80 fps with 42% GPU usage. Exit the game and turn on 3d vision in the Control panel and the same scene shows 23.7 fps with 25% GPU usage. If I hit CTRL+T to turn off 3d vision in game the framerate/GPU usage does not improve. Seems to be an issue with the 3d Vision Driver and the Arkham games. Is Nvidia aware? Do they care? My system is FX-8350 8GB ram GTX 1060 6GB Latest Nvidia Drivers.

After some more testing in Arkham City what I am finding is that with 3d vision enabled in the CP that the game loads up one Core to almost 90+% at times and that probably leads to the stuttering and low GPU usage and FPS. With 3d vision off the processor load stays more evenly distributed per core.

Issue in Arkham Origins is completely different. CPU load is fairly even between cores, but still the GPU usage when flying drops to below 20% and the framerate tanks along with constant stuttering. Once I land on a building roof the framerate/usage stays low for around 5 seconds and then shoots up to over 80fps with 90+% GPU usage. It acts like it is a problem that would be caused if I had a weak processor or low ram or something like that, but I do not.

Try disabling the PhysX effects. IIRC, there was a strange PhysX problem long back, that would manifest as stuttering. There was one section of play that would also cause crashes.

Hello, Yes sadly the arkham games are still broken after driver 337.88. I tried reporting this several times but no answer. Like you said... I don't think they care at all about this. I recently upgraded to a GTX 1080, was using GTX 780 sli before. Like you, I cannot use the old driver to play the games. I played Arkham City recently and for me it is working fine now with recent drivers. It had lots of problems with sli, but with one card only, it seems to be working fine in 3D. Arkham Origins another story, completely unplayable. Constant stutter and massive frame drops. When I had my 780's I tried just reverting to the driver 337.88 and with that driver, the game runs PERFECT. I wish I could use that driver with the new graphics card.

Single 1070, i5 4690k,, Windows 8. Running well over here. Minor drops to 45 sometimes while freeroaming in Arkham City (only one I tested), but nothing serious or too frequent. 8.1 has had issues in some games, try backing up your system, reinstalling a clean copy of Win8 (or Win7), and testing with that.
