I use other shaders rather than his and would like to be able to do said edits in them instead. Thanks
Hi - it was *Helifax* (and me), not Helix :-) We are going to release a "vanilla" fix initially, which just makes minecraft Stereo. This has almost no performance degradation. Then we will release the SEUS fix later. We plan on writing a script to update the SEUS shaders, since we don't want to redistribute his shaders without his permission. The SEUS shaders hammer your system already and in stereo you will find yourself averaging around the 25 FPS mark, which is a bit low. We are aiming to release the "SEUS Standard" shaders, not the "Ultra", as this puts about 5FPS back on and at 30 FPS the game is pretty smooth. I have stereoized a couple of other shader packs as well, it's really easy for the most part. I do also need to make a correction in the SEUS shader for the rendering of the sun, and also the water reflections are still a bit off.
My appologies on mixing up names. I meant no disrespect. This is what I get for skimming through hoping for a solution. Anyways, with SEUS ultra I have no problem getting around 80FPS@1920x1080. My CPU does a lot to help that. I just have a pref of a different shader that gives less of a performance hit (no bearing on why I use it) but looks better for my taste and resource pack. rig: Intel i7--4820k@4.65Ghz, 32GB RAM, GTX 770 4GB, win 8 x64, 3D Vision 2, Asus VG248QE, Kinston 128GB SSD, and Seagate 2TB Hybrid.

No problem, the names are similar :-) Wow, 80 FPS with SEUS ultra, that's amazing. My cpu (see sig) is inferior to yours by some way, but the game in no way maxes out my CPU cores, though my VRAM usage does get close to maxed out (2GB). So what shader pack are you using? Our "vanilla" shaders are a set of pass-through shaders I cobbled together myself based on the original shaders released (all sahder packs contain pretty much the same core elements to plug in shaders actually, they differ in the fancy stuff like shadows and water and reflections) - they have no fancy effects whatsoever and just enable 3D. **EDIT OK I just checked and in 2D with tweaked settings, I am getting 70-80 FPS with SEUS Ultra as well. Maybe we can look into optimizing the profile for 3D...

Thanks for the release on the minecraft wrapper!! I am mega excited :D. I have a couple of questions if that is ok?? [s]Will the wrapper work for older versions or is it just 1.7.10? (will try and experiment with this myself too)[/s] It doesn't seem to work for older versions, is there something I can do to change that ? [s]I quite often play the game through a launcher which doesn't install to the usual place? How would I go about applying the wrapper to the that? I tried to add it to the minecraft profile in nvidia inspector but there was no exe to choose??[/s]EDIT: I figured out it hooks onto any instance of minecraft that is loaded! I have got it working in 1.7.10 but one eye stays black and it doesn't seem very 3d, think I have messed up somewhere?? If there is documentation that explains all this (or something I should have learned), then please call me an ass, accept my apologies and point me towards it :) Sorry for being a massive pain, I truely do appreciate all the work put in.

Hello, thankyou for your reply :) I have got it working in 1.7.10 but one eye stays black and it doesn't seem very 3d to me. Where do I find the shaders that Mike added so I can add them to the shader folder?? I did watch a few of your videos but am not sure I watched the right one. It was one where you were using inspector to get broken age working and then new order. Is that the procedure I need to follow and learn?? Sorry for my being thick, all this is very confusing :) I'll go and read that ini right now.

I am running win 8 and my driver version is 337.88 :) I did fine the mike shaders and copied them to where I was using. I have both 64 and 32 bit java on my machine but if I install your 64 wrapper I just get a black screen. Using the 32 bit lets the game load etc though :) It's a bit strange as I thought minecraft would use the 64 bit version if it were installed. I did also try to look at that ini that you mentioned. I noticed the profile your wrapper loads is javaw which is from system32, but couldnt find the ini file in there??

I have just updated my gfx to the latest version and tried the x64 version again. I get a black screen and a flicker on the minecraft screen which is also upside down. Thought i should mention that incase that is something you have seen before! also, would you like me to continue this is the minecraft thread you have made so i dont clutter this one?

There you should find the ini file and the wrapper (opengl32.dll) If you see the image flipped that means something in the wrapper gets very confused for some weird thing... I am also using the latest drivers....the only possible difference that I can think of is windows 8 (I am running windows 7 as windows 8 has some changes regarding the driver architecture....might be that this is the cause of the problem...) I know is asking quite a lot, but if you have the ability to run the game + wrapper on windows 7 that would solve this mystery...

Is it possible for the series IL2 sturmovik 1946 and Forgotten battles to work with this wrapper? It would be tremendous.
