New Nvidia Driver breaking glasses... any ideas why?
The battery in my glasses is on its last legs and in the past it has sometimes even flickered a bit when plugged in.
For the last 2 months I've been using driver 390.XX and haven't had any problems at all. The glasses have worked perfectly as long as they were plugged into a USB port to keep them powered.
I decided to update to the latest driver and after doing so, my glasses suddenly are no longer working even when plugged in, its like the battery is too weak to sustain the flicker, even though they're plugged in/powered by the USB port.
I then (immediately) did a system restore back to the old 390.XX driver and the problem is gone again and the glasses work fine as long as they are plugged in.
Can anyone think of any reason why this would be? I would like to update my driver for VR but I can't find any more 3D Vision glasses aside from the ones I have. I bought a few pairs and they are all dead on arrival.

Something else was probably wrong when you did a driver update. Maybe 3D got turned off by something else, like the refresh rate went over 120?

Appears to be fixed at this point, I believe it might have been due to that time I picked the set up option that has other remote radio sensors around in the vicinity because I have some other things around. I didn't pick that option and just picked the regular default one and it appears to be working fine.

Why not using 3D Fix Manager next time when setting up 3D Vision after a driver installation? 3DFM will ask you if you want to import stereo 3D related settings from your previous export after a driver update. This backup also includes the remote radio sensors setting you were talking about. Then you don't have to care about if you chose the wrong setting in the 3D Vision setup wizard.

I would like to use it but I'm often running into conflicts w/ the fixes and things like Reshade, VorpX and VR. At this point I feel I'm better off applying an available fix carefully when needed. 3D VIsion and the fixes, thankfully, and thanks for all the hard work by the people here, works great. But I run into issues on a regular basis with the other things, which sadly don't just 'work' like they should.
