I'm trying to get the original half life to work with my anaglyph stereo glasses. This is the second game I've tried, the first was Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 which worked fine (although I could only adjust the depth, not convergence or anything else, I guess thats a secondary issue if you guys also want to help with that ;). I can see theres an entry in the game settings panel with hl.exe as the key, and when I get in the game (in DirectX mode) I can press my shortcut key to toggle stereo and I briefly see the stereo message flash at the bottom right (that says press Ctrl-Alt-Insert to show/hide). But it goes away very quickly and there is no actual stereo. Any thoughts? I've tried both original half life (non steam) and steam versions and it does the same in both. Thanks for the help,
Mark
P.S.
I have: AMD dual core 64 bit
Vista 32 bit (same result on vista 64 bit)
geforce 7900 GTO
178.24 forceware
latest stereo drivers from the nvidia stereo website (174 maybe?? i forget the number)
Also, is there any way to create custom profiles for games that aren't included? I want to try this with fallout3 but that game isn't listed so I double the exe will be recognized.

Can't really help (it should work I think), but You could try asking in MTBS3D's forum: www.MTBS3D.com
iZ3D's driver can also give You red/blue 3D: iZ3D's driver download website
I tried version 1.07 some month's ago and had red/blue 3D in 4min.
Made a video from the install: it's here if interested
