Please Help with playing SBS .mkv 3D movies.
Hi there; I just recently purchased an Asus VG248 3D vision certified monitor, and the 3D vision 2 kit. 3D games work great; however for the life of me I can't seem to get 3D SBS .mkv files to work. I play them no problem using VLC on my 3d plasma downstairs; yet with the Nvidia 3D solution on my Asus monitor I can't seem to get any luck. I have installed the k-lite codec pack; as well as some other codec packs I've stumbled upon while researching this issue. I can open the files in Stereoscopic Player and Nvidia 3d Video Player, and even in fullscreen the images remain split, and I can't seem to find out how to get them to layer properly. I have my playback settings to over/under right image first. From what I've heard that is the correct setting. My glasses are engaged, monitor in proper refresh rate and emitter is active. Any insight to how to get this to work would be great. I've read someone saying that my Asus monitor not having a manual 3D mode button is the problem, and if that is the case, does this mean I need to wait for Nvidia or someone to write that into their software??

If its SBS its SIDE BY SIDE I think Over/under is rarely used. If you want to test something I have a video on my ftp I know that works. https://s3.amazonaws.com/3dvid/sing.mp4 Download. Set to Side by Side: Left image first.
