3DTV Play Supported TV
My TV (Samsung UN55D6400) is not listed on the Supported TV List but at least 1 TV that is NOT 3D (Samsung UN55D6300) is listed. Can anyone verify that my TV will or will not work with 3DTV Play?

Thanks!

Your TV does not support CB mode so you cannot do the free upgrade from 3DTV Play to 3D Vision. That means you are doomed to low rez scaled 720P and it's hideous image quality in framepacking mode, the "double curse" of 3DTV Play. You can probably use 3DTV Play, but why would you want to?
To get full quality native resolution 3D gaming, either swap your D6400 for a D7000/D8000 samsung, or, use TriDef 3D. 3DTV play is the last option anybody would go for.

Not quite the answer I was looking for but thanks for all of the info. /thanks.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':thanks:' />

I am not sure what CB is and I won't be trading in my TV as the reason I got it specifically was because of a serious discount on it but I really do appreciate you telling me about TriDef 3D; I will look into it. I was just looking at 3DTV Play because I already have 3D Vision.

Thanks again!

Just requested 3D TV support for the Samsung SyncMaster SA950 via a support submission as described.

The Monitor comes with the TriDef 3D driver but I would like to also have the option to use the nVidia stereo driver without the use to buy another expensive 3D Vision set (as the pyramid emitter would only be used as a dongle to enable the nVidia stereo driver and the nVidia 3D glasses would be useless anyway).
