You can Disable Compatibility Mode be Default, instead of the usual being Enabled by Default, using the Global/Base Profile ... :) Guide: How to Tweak Global/Base Profile Settings(Disable2DD)

@SKAUT....i'm using 350.12 driver with all profile imported from 353.06 driver. The last 2 drivers works like s**t to me. I'm not tested the game with last driver.

I have to be on latest drivers so I`m screwed.

Yes it was compatibility mode indeed. I didn't guess because other fake 3d modes I have seen were way more obvious, looks like nvidia's fake 3D is quite good. But yes I can see the difference. Real 3D vision does look better, and the shadow glitches are visible now too :\ If only there was a way to modifiy the game's scripts not to change the FOV when sprinting or in cutscenes. Then it would be perfect. By the way, does anybody know a way to render at 1920x1080 and then upsacle to 3840x2160 (native resolution)? GeDoSaTo can do it for only dx9. I need that because My output resolution has to be 3840x2160 (fpr scanlines) for the 3D to work, but rendering at that resolution is too much even for a gtx 980, plus I lose half of the vertical resolution because of the fpr 3d technology anyway. So rendering at 1920x1080 and upscaling to 3840x2160 is the solution. Setting disaply resolution scaling method in nvidia control panel to GPU instead of display doesn't work, that alters the fpr scanlines to be 1080p too (which should be 2160p). What is needed is rather like 0.5 SSAA or something like that.

I just tried to play the game today and noticed that the weapons were still @ correct depth while the hands weren't. I took the liberty to find the new hands/cloths/watch shaders and pushed them in-depth.:) I attached the new shaders here;)) @DHR: Can you update the fix on HelixBlog please?:) ^_^ Thx

Just picked up the game today with the Steam sale. Downloaded the 3dmigoto version. Unzipped it to the folder with the .exe. Started playing it looks nice but a lot of shadows are broken. When I look out into the city far off the shadows are wrong and make a very distracting effect. Tried pressing the right thumbstick (360 controller) to cycle the shadows and helped only a little bit. Used the uninstal.bat. Tried Flugan version and had the same problems. I am running this o Rog swift at 1440p, win 7. I am NOT running sli at the moment. Performance of 980sc seems good but.. Is there something else I need to do in a config file to set this up with my resolution or is there another step I missed? Can't play with it as is now. Actually I would love a disable shadows option.. To me 3d>shadows, and so many 3d games would be great if I could just turn off shadows..

@Mournz First, try zig11727 suggestion. If you're using a resolution with an aspect ratio different from 16:9 you have to change the corrections values in the d3dx.ini file: res x / res y * 1.845 / 1.777 = new correction value Example Surround resolution: 3840 /800 * 1.845 / 1.777 = 4.984 <---Change this value in the "y" parameter

However isn't 1440p (2560x1440) a 16:9 format? It is still not 1080p and so perhaps that is the solution. Has anyone else at 1440p had this issue or solved it in this way? Perhaps someone will better math skills than me could identify what the values should be changed to for 2560x1440p. @zig11727 Thank you for your suggestion as well. However Compatibility mode was turned off.

Those shadows been messing with my perception. I could manage with the distance ones but those during running sequence are soo bad that I choose to quit. I also believe that one of the visual effects makes the close ones look even worse - like they above ground a bit. Try to play with some effects you might find it. Not sure if that was in this game thou.

i found this message in the d3d9.ini ,and it very useful fixs for me! DYING LIGHT by DHR Add a feature to move Hands and Weapons deeper in to the screen, this allows to increase convergence a little more. z = 3.6 //Hands and Weapons Convergence Adjust Higher is deeper -- 1 to disable this is very interesting!is that convergence tweak !? i change z = 10,and increase convergence in game,that realy what i want! i know it wrong for real 3d,but it's much better than play game in low convergence for fps game...... so,DHR, can this code to be used in other dx11 fps fixs? is that very difficult to achieve?
