Hi,
I have an alienware M17x laptop with QX9300 Proc and GTX 260M SLI GPU.
I'm just wondering, if I buy a 120Hz Monitor and 3D Vision Kit,
can I just hook them up to my laptop and will 3D work?
I'm dying to start trying 3D vision but I don't wanna waste 500 bucks for just a monitor.
I just wanna make sure whether it will or will not work with my laptop.
Thanks in advance.

I am not 100% certain to be honest, but some of it depends on what the specs of the laptop are. I am also wondering if maybe running it through the VGA Port on the laptop may weaken the signal or delay it some? Does the laptop have HDMI? That could possibly work if the VGA doesn't. I just don't want to steer you in the wrong direction because I have never tried it before and I don't know a whole lot about it.

I have an Alienware m17x here at the house. I can try it when my kit and monitor arrive this week. But i am pretty sure you could do it using a HDMI to DVI converter. Since most monitors only accept 120hz signal in via the DVI port.

Thanks a lot man!
That's gonna be a great help.
Btw, is it Alienware m17x or the Dell Alienware M17x?
They're different.

That's cool, man.
I asked on NBR alienware forum and no one there knows too.
I guess I'll just have to wait for Echer.
