Has anyone managed to get F1 2012 to work with 3D vision? It worked when I bought it on release day but after patch 2 or 3 (there have now been about 11 on Steam) I can't get 3D vision to stay activated! I'm using 306.97 WHQL drivers but I've also tried the beta driver before that. I've also tried using an old .exe but no good.
P.S Welcome back Nvidia Forums, I've been lost without you (albeit for getting some fixes from the mighty Helix Mods site, thanks Helix, Eqzitara et al)

Richie, I've noticed that they've completely disabled 3D in the menu. When you attempt to turn it on the image shifts to the side like it's going to start rendering each eye, but then snaps back to center for 2D.
However, when I actually go into a race, the 3D works again. I don't know if they did this on purpose as band aid over some unintentional issues or if it is a bug, but it's too bad as the 3D menus were gorgeous.
Have you tried going into a race to see if it works or just given up at the menu?

Talk about not testing something fully. Thanks FormulaRedline it works in race and it's pretty good, much the same as the last 2. Shame about the menus though.

Just bought this on Steam for $13, but am having some issues. Aside from the ones described above where 3d only kicks in during a race, when you are in a race and 3d is on a number of rendering features are turned off, most notably dynamic shadows on the racetrack. In fact, it looks almost exactly like what would happen if using the Helix debugger to disable a feature. It looks like a miserable day in England (I can say that, I am English...). Press Ctrl-T and bingo - shadows and lighting comes back on, and unfortunately looks really good, very much like a sunny day not in England. I had the demo before and I don't remember this crap happening. Also, convergence and so on gets lost (there is another thread about this I just noticed). This game is not DX9 so I can't mess about with it. Has anyone worked out how to make this game not look so dull and crap in 3d vision?
