UPD: only starting game with tridef (/w 3D off in it) helped me to solve that color bug
If using Tridef search the Tridef forums for Dark Souls 2 Direct X11 profile this works with Dark Souls 3.

I tried it, P3D doesn't work in this game (with any profile), S3D have broken shadows/lighting (and poor perf. aswell).
Well alt+F11 is actually works for 3D vision (without tridef), thx (you have to use alt+F11 first in real 3D, and when colors are fixed - switch to CM)

I don't know if anything changed, but today the convergence on my character is much better. Perhaps messing with it at all like I did before throws it off. There are definitely some broken elements, but I like the fact I can disable shadows which are usually broken in 3d. Overall I think it looks amazing out of the box with 3d as it is. Yes it can be improved and I hope it will be but overall its a great start and worth a buy for sure.
Update: Had my first crash. After restarting the game, my previous character convergence issues are back. I wonder if there is an issue with the 2nd loading of the game. Looks like the best effect is on a clean boot. 2nd time playing introduces some graphical glitches.
2nd Update: After a few clean reboots and restarts my character is still, and always slightly off in convergence. I don't know what the magic formula is to get it back to how it was this morning, but I wish I knew because it looked much better!

I have looked at the screenshots now. Ugh, DS2:SOTFS all over again.
The fog should be easily fixable.
Nnngh, after playing DS2 again these days now I'm starting to consider a bit buying the steel case physical edition that also contains the OST. But on the other hand, almost 55€, no season pass and subpar performance until Pascal...
Please, someone start dumping shaders and pasting them here. The fog vertex shader at least, and then the lighting pixel and vertex shaders.

As far as I remember GuyBrush said that game is on shared Steam account so you can look it up. If not I`ll be dumping shaders when I get it installed. Got my key a little bit late so I`m far behind everybody else but I will try to help when all get down.

Performance is perfectly fine here... Since Surround is fucked up... I have zero issues running the game on a 980Ti at 60FPS at 1080p in 3D Vision...so... Don't know why people say that there is problems with performance...

And that's in 2D. A 970 wouldn't be enough for 60fps per eye at 1080p with max settings, but a 980ti is more than enough.

Great find, and thank you for this. I was having the exact same problem with DS2 DX11 which I was posting about in the SBS/TB thread. This only seems to be an issue when running on the HDMI Checkerboard output for 3D. But cycling with Ctrl-F11 solves it for DS2 DX 11 as well! Can also confirm now that DS2 DX11 works great with SBS/TB mode fix.
Thanks again!

I skipped Dark souls 2 after the fix was a long time coming and realizing it just didn't really capture the magic of the rest of the series after a couple hours play once I did.
I always find it interesting what people consider passable for 3dvision. Maybe I have just been playing actually perfect or near perfect games and have higher expectations but it seems this has the same issues as Ds2 did which to me is not good enough.
Another game in the queue then I guess =)

You have been spoiled there it seems;))
While I agree DS3 is acceptable to some degree is definitely not as good as it can be...
Back in the early days, before Helix, this game would have passed as acceptable;)
