TRINE Utterly amazing
  1 / 3
Probably old news I know, but i have been playing Trine recently and I can safely say it is the most impressive 3D experience I have had so far.

If you set the convergence so that the characters remain in focus with the glasses off and have distance to max, the level of depth and pop out is by far the most impressive on any game I have played. (and i have every 3D ready title)

it may be because you can take your time and just look at the scenery but its just a wonderfully beautiful experience!

If that wasnt good enough - the game itself is actually really good (but a bit short)

So if you havent played it yet, and you like RPG type puzzle games - I suggest Trine.

Dont forget to alter the convergence though - it makes ALL the difference.

Omg I have to second this. I'm running a Zalman Trimon 22" (M220W) with tri def drivers. I had bought a GTX465 and have overclocked it like crazy just to play games in 3d with nice frame rates. I was getting kind of disappointed in 3d. I mainly play League of Legends which is not that great for 3d. Then I found Trine and WOW it is the most amazing 3d experience by far. Next closest would be Street Fighter 4. I believe that the fixed profile view really helps 3d really shine. The game in itself seems fun too. I really want to get some friends over and play co-op. Every one go out and get this game!!! You will not be disappointed in its beautiful 3d. /thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Make sure you record it with convergence set to keep the player in focus with the glasses off. (not that you need telling ofc!)

I tried several different views and max distance with convergence set kind of in the middle of the terrain.Looked stunning.

Level 12 (the mine) is the best 3D I have ever seen.

Played half of it with a friend and half alone.

its a completely different experience, carrying yourself through the game requires different tactics than running a few people through...

Plan on going through it with my friend again, but at the hardest difficulty setting.

yes Trine is a excellent game, that works really well in vision, though you move on the 2d plane, the backdrops look great in 3D and really bring the game to life, also one of my favourites

I have a screenshot pack on SG containing 8 screenshots click here

also checkout 3dizzy's vid once up - it really does look very good in 3D

Yeah, I had this game from Steam and I never played it. I paid like $5 for it I think. It was just frustrating at that time. But I reinstalled it, and now it supports the 360 controller, it is so much more fun now. Not to mention how mind blowing it is in full 3D. I just can't believe it. I spent 4 hours playing last night, just taking my sweet time, no hurry at all.
