You certainly are the master of hotkeys :) This time it's refined to pure perfection, I really love the setting with screen depht (and undistorted) UI and the tilted pointer at ground level on the hole screen !! If only we could have more RPG's and RTS's with these settings ! Brilliant work, THANKS again masterotaku :)

About the Steam Overlay, you don't need to set "allow_dxgi1_2=2" instead of "allow_dxgi1_2=0" in "d3dx.ini" in this case. I've just checked the game with a Steam shortcut and the overlay works fine. At least my GOG version.

WIP 4: https://s3.amazonaws.com/masterotaku/Grim+Dawn/Grim_Dawn_3D_Vision_fix_WIP4.7z I have just added two TextureOverride settings to d3dx.ini, to stereoize two render targets when you use lower than maximum settings. So now reflections and stuff related to that are fixed.
[TextureOverrideWavesLow] Hash=c9ab3ae0 StereoMode=1 [TextureOverrideWavesMediumMaybe] Hash=a0aabe00 StereoMode=1
If you feel lazy about downloading the new version, you can just paste that code below the other "[TextureOverrideWaves]" section. By the way, the most demanding effect for the CPU seems to be shadows (edit: depends on the situation). If I disable them, I gain a lot of fps where I was CPU limited. But the game looks worse, of course. Even at low the performance hit is sizeable.

After adding the stereoization of those two extra render targets for lower settings in WIP 4, I've noticed now that it was that action what fixed the post processing setting. So now every effect in the game can be enabled! :) I saw it a few minutes ago after enabling post processing just for testing. However, that effect is linked to the HUD (both VS and PS), and modified HUD depth affects the depth of entire image. The first F8 preset (only mouse depth) works without breaking this. So far, I could partially filter that out, so now the image remains at the depth it should, but the bloom effect is still taking that extra depth. I'll try to fix it in any way I can think, but this night I will release (in theory) the fix on the blog anyway, with the 3Dmigoto build I have that has better CPU performance. Note: the exact method of fixing ambient occlusion is simply hovering the mouse over an NPC once. Not needed if MSAA is off, it seems. But it's a very simple fix.

Done!: https://helixmod.blogspot.com.es/2017/10/grim-dawn.html Download the fix from there and check the post processing explanation (it's longer than it should). There's also a new hotkey that I think will especially help you, Blacksmith56. Writing that wall of text was tiring. I'm off to sleep now.

I have updated the fix, to make it use 3Dmigoto 1.2.68. There is a good CPU performance increase. I just changed the 3Dmigoto dll files, so you can do that too if you have 3Dmigoto downloaded (32 bit version), instead of redownloading the fix.

Fix updated for game version 1.0.5.0. I'm using regex now for everything except the HUD, because the latest update changed all hashes except the HUD ones. The old fix version is still available in the update comment.

My keyboard has no numpad, where can I change the hotkeys for the F8 zoom values?
My keyboard has no numpad, where can I change the hotkeys for the F8 zoom values?
Open "d3dx.ini" and go to line 215 and look what's below it. Change those "Key = VK_NUMPAD1", "Key = VK_NUMPAD2" and "Key = VK_NUMPAD3" lines to something else. It can be other keys, combinations, and controller buttons.

Another option would be to use voice commands, if your playing a game that uses a lot of the existing keys . Or, if you are using a gamepad, away from the keyboard.

I cannot get this fix to enable 3D display, using Steam version of game, Windows 10, with 4K EDID mod. Is anyone else having difficulty getting 3D to engage?
