Works fine for me too!! THANKS!! to Helix and you eqzitara for telling. (We want donation link!! :)
I kind of find it cool that I proved that almost all people handle high convergence/toyification when properly applied to "controlled" situation. Most people seem to be using the high convergence one or default, everyone I spoke to uses high or in other games they mention changing default values go higher. Its kind of hilarious since I know the values, gameplay offers close to 3 x the convergence value as cinematic. Cinematic offers actually surprisingly high value, not crazy but it will "pop-out" in quite a few situations.
The real problem with high convergence and people is when they try to exceed 2D / "POP-OUT" [results vary by individual] on the object they are focusing on [in this case dracula / cinematics]. As long as its doesn't happen "sustained" / or mostly in peripherial view [like your focusing on Dracula and object moving towards camera will pop-out quite a bit]. No one minds high convergence, they actually like it though I am uncertain people realize how high it really is. Like I've always felt people who experience strain occurs from focusing on an object/character/whatever that pop-out for an extended period of time and this kind of proves it since I have never heard any complaints.
Probably talking to myself but I find it kind of cool at least. If you don't believe me in like enslaved, dmc, LOS 2 in "gameplay" move character next to a wall. And use camera to get as close as possible to character then take off glasses. There will be two identical characters standing side by side pretty far apart.

I used the version with high convergence and it looked great on the projector, I have to admit that its a bit odd on a 24' monitor, the dracula coat especially look like its unnaturally sticking out while floating behind when moving and I had problems when I moved the camera too close to the wall but for the most part it looked good since most combat sections I have encountered zooms out so it looked better.
Also I found that I rarely focus on the character itself, when I walk I focus on the environment and when I fight I focus on the enemies so there is very little time I'm actually focused on the main character. I would take tpp over fpp in 3d anyday, since I like the character and its relation to the environment much better than unnaturaly sticking out gun/hands (when I up the convergence llevel to my likings) in fpp.

the debug dll included with the metal gear rising fix is the latest version that works for me.

Just an fyi, I will be getting the dlc that comes out this month but might not have time to play/beat it till like a week after. So if your "patient" will patch whatever it needs.

Do you guys also have this strong grey mist in the game. Is it actually the game or something that broke with the fix. Unfortunately I can't check this by changing 3D on / off as it is immediatly crashing when I push ctrl+t.

I found the solution in the discussions under the fix on the helix page. It is important to copy the files (I am using non-SLI) into different folders.

Try putting just the 'd3d9.dll' in the "bin" folder, but put the 'DX9Settings.ini' file and 'ShaderOverride' folder in the "Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2" folder.
Now all works fine and I have to admit that this game looks incredible good in 3D. Actually I cannot understand why I was waiting so long to start playing it (I have in my library since over a year). Very much recommended! Excellent 3D
One word to the link between the demo and the actual game. First when I was playing the demo I thought it might be a bit to poppy, to colourful, but the actual game is completely different, it has a very dark setting with a great morbide atmosphere and might be the best adaptation of the 2D Castlevania that we have seen yet. I actually was scared more than one time.

Hi all,
I know this is an "oldie but a goodie," but I thought there might be a few of you that could revisit it at some point. I was having trouble getting the old fix to work (I have been experimenting with old DX9 games on my new rig.) No matter what combination of instructions I used from the blog, fix was broken. I was about to give it up to not working with newer drivers, but thought I would try one last thing...
I deleted the game's profile in NV Inspector, then (randomly picked) assigned the .exe to The Witcher 3 profile and, bam! Fix kicks in and everything looks/works great.
Also... running the game on W10, in W8 compatibility mode.
