If you didn't/don't like my DOOM fix, please ignore this thread!!!!!!!!!
lol, who couldn't have liked it? Your Wolfenstein 2 fix will surely be amazing, especially with uncapped fps :). I hope it won't have culling problems like the other Wolfenstein (which killed peeking), because it's now the DOOM engine.

Otherwise, you could could get some eye-sync issues ^_^ Again, it depends what you can "tolerate". Also, there were some texture clipping, beyond my "direct" control:( )

But that's known issue in opengl games, right? I understand then that was selfish people who didn't lke the fix because they didn't have the hardware to play with the fix.

If its anything like the last game it will require a decent cpu as it was less gpu intensive than cpu. Looking forward to another fix of blowing up Nazi's in 3d - god mode is great in these games :-) I've still got Return to Castle Wolfenstein working in 3d which was a great game for its day.

Oh, so the first post was edited! Strange, it isn't marked as such. T'was a pretty confusing read! I guess that means no 3D Vision for X4: Foundations, either. I'm pretty sure they said they are using VULKAN.

The very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views ... which can be very uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.

I have no problem with Vulkan, but forcing only this API, "cause why not" is extremely dumb and selfish! I guess is AMD's way to promote their API... If Vulkan was a matured API, like DX or OpenGL, I would understand, but it is not! Far from it! We have like what? 5 games that uses Vulkan? (and sometimes it behaves poorly then OpenGL, not to speak about DX were we at least can use SLI to a degree!) Oh and guess what, Surround doesn't work again! Guess Bethesda still can't make PC games in 2017! I get a 16:9 image stretched across 3 screens... Time for some assembly reverse engineering, yet again!!!!!! FFS!

Damn. Vulkan in DOOM runs fine, and that's probably the reason they did it (supporting 1 API is less work than 2). I understand, but I don't like the situation. Unless they release an OpenGL option in the future or someone makes a Vulkan wrapper (for one or two games, lol), RIP 3D in this game. I'm sure the game is really good and I'll play it anyway... but on a big sale.

Well....De la extaz la agonie. Yesterday I tested New order and was very happy that I found the perfect setting to reduce blur generated by FPS cap for the passive display and was prepared to buy the game as soon as the fix is ready. It seems I will continue to play the rest of the New order campaign. I really enjoyed it last night.
