3D Vision Live Doesn't Work At All Using Acer HN274H
I'm using an Acer HN274H w/ a GTX 470 card. Latest 270.61 drivers. I have tried on both Vista 32-bit and Windows 7 64-bit. 3D Vision Live does not work at all. I have no problems playing games in 3D, or using the 3D Vision Photo Viewer. However the website does not work. When I try to open a image on the site, it switches to a black screen briefly, but the the image is shown in 2D. The glasses do not turn on, and pressing the button does nothing. If I try to watch a video, then it just plays in 2D. It does not even switch to a black screen. In all cases, the brightness of the monitor seems reduced after I am on the site, so its like its trying to do something but it doesn't work. Whats the deal here, I have the most updated versions of everything on a fresh OS. This should work.

Well, I have got it somewhat working now. Basically all I had to do was go into the Nvidia panel, under stereoscopic options, and choose "When running a windowed application" where it asks when to enable the glasses. I think it was on "only for full-screen games" or something like that. Setting it the "always" also worked, but it made the screen darker, which I didn't like. This was using Windows 7 64-bit. However, on Vista 32-bit, I don't have those options. Is this feature only supported on Windows 7 64-bit?

For me it's also grayed out at "Only when 3d programs run". The very first time after installing the drivers it's not grey, but then there is only the "Only when 3d programs run" option in the dropdown list and no others. To get 3dvision live working here I have to manually disable aero.

A solution that may have worked for me was to turn off sli. It opened up the options for me. In doing so though my computer monitor stayed in 3d mode all the time and when it is there are many lines across the monitor. So I eventually had to uninstall the drivers and reinstall just to reset everything and now I'm afraid to even attempt to try and get 3d working again.
