I don't understand, please help Can't figure out how to get 3D working
I recently got a 3D TV and was really excited to get it hooked up to my PC to play some 3D games. It's a passive 3DTV- LG LW5300.

The set up in the Nvidia control panel went fine. It says I need to manually change to a 3D resolution whenever I want to do 3D stuff (1920x1080 @24hz- Ok, 24hz is weird, but I'll go on). I changed to that res in the control panel, launched up Trine 2, set it to 24hz, and was playing in 3D. (BTW that was an amazing experience)

Now the problem is playing any other game. None let me set the refresh rate, let alone to 24hz. I see that people are playing these games in 3D, even unsupported ones. How... what am I doing wrong? For example, I can't seem to set Fable 3's refresh rate, so I can't play it in 3D.

I must be missing something, please help!!

Change your in game resolution to 1280x720p, it's the other 3D gaming supported resolution for 3DTV Play.

On some games you can change the refresh rate in the Nvidia control panel in the "change resolution" tab to 24hz and you need to select HD 3D 1920x18080 if I remember right. Then set it back to normal after gaming.
