Almost no depth, but can still change Convergence?
  1 / 2
Trying to find out if this is just buggy with 3DTV it seems sometimes maximum depth is barely any depth at all. Reinstalled the driver seemed to fix it but then it came back, but only in certain games. Wondering if this has something to do with MonitorSize in the registry since I'm using a head mounted display with native 3DTV. Any help appreciated if anyone has any ideas here about why this is happening.

Hey Electryic, Let us know what TV you are using, and what 3DTV settings you use. I can have 5% depth but with the right convergence setting, things pop out. So it it user dependent.

Anyone with a Mixed Reality HMD can use this AFAIK, it's mostly 2D though? Tis free @Electryic Can you clone it to a display and check it there? Lohan used a Sony HMZ T1 with 3DTV Play and may still have it, you might try PMing him.

So out of curiosity, do you have to use it in a light controlled environment, since it's not fully enclosed?

Sorry, one more thing.. I don't suppose that you use glasses with it? I wonder if they might diffract/bounce the projected light.

And no worries, if anyone has any questions or is considering getting one of these, more than happy to answer.

Ty, that's all the questions I have. It's good to know that it works with 3DTV play out of the box. The only other thing I can think of, you might post your EDID. It might help others that are trying to use phones. http://3dvision-blog.com/7202-share-your-3d-monitor-3d-hdtv-or-3d-projector-edid-data/ Also, if you do not know how to upload something to the forums, there are two links halfway down this post, just add .jpg to the end of the file
