Viewsonic V3D241wm-LED AMD instead of NVIDIA?
I thought NVIDIA was to promote that monitor when it was announced a long time ago. Now I see in the press release that AMD have the deal.

Pretty sure it will work with 3D Vision but yet they seems to bundle the glasses with it and all of us won't want to pay for glasses we won't use because from what I understand, those won't be compatible with the 3D Vision IR transmitter.

No glasses discussion on the product page.

Unless it will be all be different for North America?

That monitor is nothing earth shattering, if this tech was any good you could buy 3d ready ones for a long time.

You want serious local dimming with LED's , not some edge lit thing, this cheapo LED thing qualifies as False advertising imho.

This "LED" (backlight!!!) TV has BALLS : http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/07/toshiba...n-ultra-bright/

probably input lag is very bad. But, more than triple brightness for a much larger screen vs "LED" monitor, tells a lot, mate, don't you think?
