Well I'd say things take time, can't have the biggest and most perfect car/house/empire/etc in a second. Things take time and I am sure they are working on it. But if you want it now, then why don't you make the fixes for them??? At least they are working on it, heck halo 2 has had no support from the get go, but the H2V community manage to deal with all the bugs etc. lol But anyways, I would like to see these issues fixed and as well other issues. I have heard great things of this game and can't wait to get a hold of it and test it out for myself :)

hrmm, no edit button. sry for dbl post. -You can merge this with my previous post.

Can't you just disable the shadows then?????? That could be a temporary fix for now. Yes it may not look great but it could work out for the better?

The patch is supposed to be out by the weekend so waiting a few days more now shouldn't hurt any.

The wording on the patch notes bothers me because it looks like a fix for people playing the game in 2D. I guess we will know soon enough though. If the problem is fixed, then this is my 3D Vision GOTY so far.

I am not sure what happened to the edit button either...

Hi All

No one has scared me off, I've just been really busy at work and trying to juggle two kids at home. Its not fair to say that I only post when we have new products. If you check my frequency and number of posts, I'm pretty highly ranked :).

With regards to your specific question, the 3D Vision performance issues will be addressed in the 1.3 patch which should be out today or tomorrow.

Thanks to clear things up Andrew.
Here's hoping that the performance gains will be good enough to play TW2 in 3D without too much hassle.

Glad we finally got a response, but I still stand by my last statement. For what Nvidia is charges for their products, support leaves a lot to be desired. I realize a lot of times this is out of your hands Andrew because Nvidia short staffs their support, but you also didn't have to let a thread about a recently-release 3D Vision ready product go a full month without so much as a peep. A simple "they take up to a month with it but patch 1.3 IS coming" statement of sorts would have dampened a lot of frustration that started a month ago.

Andrew doesn't know when CDPR is going to release a patch. I'm anticipating late this week or sometime next week. I'd love to play this game to the fullest this Saturday though. :)

If it doesn't know, he shouldn't state that the patch was to be released yesterday or today.

If your doctor told you that rash "should" clear up in a couple days, and it hasn't, you're suppose to just shut up and keep waiting?

We are told it should be here by now, it's not. You can't just tell people one thing, it not happen, and then not come follow up on it. Talk about bad customer service, but then again this 3D Vision Ready title was a lie from day 1.

I'm not trying to fan the flames here but this is a user to user forum. I remember we have gone long stretches without anyone from Nvidia chiming in.

Regardless, I saw on the GOG.com forum a post from CD Projekt RED that they confirmed what Nvidia (Andrew) has posted recently - that the 1.3 patch would fix the 3D Vision issue. While there is still part of me that is skeptical, I hope this is true.

I'm just really really disappointed with the delay in releasing the patch. It's been over a month now.
