3d option not displaying when connected to 3d tv
hi,

i have a Asus N53sv laptop which is i5 sandy bridge, 8gb ram, gt 540m 2gb with optimus which i am trying to connect to a Lg 42lm620t passive 3d tv via hdmi.

when i do this the nvidia control panel doesn't give me the option for 3d. i have tried the latest beta and release drivers with no luck and also tried to use the trial of 3dtv play which sometimes installs(but gives no option for 3d) or fails install saying that it is not compatible with my operation system although i am running windows 7 64 bit.

any one have any ideas.

ive read that i may need the vision kit but dont see the need to spend £120 for a transmitter and have a friend with a dell laptop with a gt 555 that works straight away with 3d (he doesnt own the vision kit)
