Essential added functionality - projected screen size

Maybe I'm being overly simplistic here, but couldn't you just change the registry value, then change it to 'read only'? You know, to stop the driver changing the value back.

Just curious really, I recently purchased a projector, that to my surprise is apparently 3D Vision Ready, so I'll probably give it a try at some point. Problem is, it's in a small room so I can only manage 60"...

You can't make it read only. What you CAN do is deny SYSTEM from making any changes, but only to the whole key, you can't set permissions on the values. This will save the screen size, but will also make it impossible to save any depth settings in game. CTRL+F7 will no longer save but just display the current convergence setting; which oddly is the only way to ever see it, it normally isn't displayed at all, seems like some code is messed up imo.

I thong they need to dedicate a day or two to refining the customer interface. This is just the basics for helping customers experience 3d vision at its best.

3d vision is the best purchase I've ever made for my pc, but like many, due to easily solvable issues, I'm enjoying it much less than I should be able too. Infant, some are pushed to the brink of giving up on the technology.
