Sniper Ghost Warrior 2
So this game uses Cry Engine 3, but it seems to be DX9 only. 3D Vision does kick in (and it's proper 3D and not the Crytek fake one) but it's all messed up with the usual issues with shadows, etc. There is a Stereo option in the graphics menu but it's greyed out. I also tried some "ini" tweaking and found a couple of options for stereo and turned them on but it did't seem to affect anything. I also tried to run the game with 3D Vision turned off in the nVidia control panel (to see if the game might use it's own renderer) but that didn't work either (no 3D at all and the Stereo option remained greyed out). Also this game is nVidia's TWIMTBP title so I don't think the stereo option is meant for AMD HD3D nor TriDef either. It is rated as "Not Recommended" in the drivers by nVidia, but this game being DX9, maybe Helix & co can take a look?

http://steamcommunity.com/app/34870/discussions/ It seems like a flop. The first one had terrible reviews even as a budget title but did well somehow.

Yeah, it's a budged title, but the first one was surprisingly fun to play and was apparently successful enough to warrant a sequel. From what I've read about this game, it seems they released it in a bit of an unfinished state and they have claimed to release significant updates to the game so it could become the game it was meant to be. These updates should include stuff such as DX11 support, better optimization and textures and dismemberment/gore. They claim that the dismemberment/gore was not included in the first release so that the game could be released in Germany on launch and that they would be added as a free DLC really soon after the release (why they didn't just release the censored version in Germany and the uncensored everywhere else is anyones guess). So maybe after a few patches, it'll even have better 3D support, but who knows. But what is interesting is that this game uses Cry Engine 3, yet it can run in full and proper (although with a lot of issues) stereoscopic 3D (and not the Crytek implemented 2D + depth), so the engine itself does indeed support proper stereoscopic 3D. So in theory Crysis 2 and 3 should also support this but it's being blocked by Crytek for one reason or another.

just do some fact checking, so...as of v1.04, the stereoscopic option is still greyed out?

Yes, looks decent. Maybe I will download it and give a second chance. Game has at least some achievements.
