Witcher 2 1.1 Patch...
  1 / 2
Just so you guys know the 1.1 patch does NOT fix the 3D Vision bug unfortunately...I'm in the tavern in chapter 1 and still get less than 10 FPS. So I guess we just wait for the new nvidia drivers which are supposedly coming "very soon"

Any news if it supports Surround properly now? (without 3rd party tools?)

[i]I wish I had seen this post sooner. The posting is false, as well as the information within. The patch HAS NOT been officially released. There are a series of false patches, and posts scattered around the web they ARE NOT the actual patch. For official release information follow thewithcer.com or my thread located here. Toward the end of the thread information, and updates surrounding the patch are located. So we must hand it over to our tame PC tweaker. Some say he sticky tapes a block of uranium to his dinner before eating it and that he sucks moisture out of ducks. All we know is, he's called Hooks.

Sad thing is, that 3D Vision still is not working. So maybe the problem is only a driver problem ?! NVIDIA could tell us .... ?!?!

Yeah fixing 3D Surround makes sense, without fixing 3D Vision in general ...

I knew this was gonna happen. nVidia is so slow in releasing drivers. just release game related patches as soon as they are ready. Now we have to wait for a WHQL driver, god knows when that will release. This has happened so many times with previous game releases. nVidia are definitely not doing a good job. 3D Vision Ready - Yeah right, maybe in a month or so. GGGrrrrr

Nvidia Surround is working. The image spans across three displays, except in cutscenes. Problem is, the same vertical stripe of white dots in the right screen is still there, just like the flawless tool. On the other hand, the descriptions above people and objects aren't strethed anymore.

I can confirm this. But why did they had to make the cutscenes render only on middle monitor??? Flawless tool made it on 3 Monitors like the rest of the game and looked awesome....grrr

I consider the white dots more annoying :) They can easily fix that problem by using a pic editor and remove them.
