Try to disconnect your other monitor and then go NV control and set the resolution to 3840 x 2160
also on NVidia control panel make sure you have the 3D Vision logo.
ok,i have started again, following SoundBlstr post, disconnecting second monitor

with this edid file (acermod4k) and had same result.
here are some screenshots to show you what i get:

to play in 4K 3D what resolution should i set ?
could it be a cable issue ?
is it normal that nvidia control panel says lg and driver says ACER ? is nvidia supposed to say Acer too ?
Yes it is possible could be the hdmi cable but I would try another 1080P EDID override I think the to see if you get the 3D Vision logo Acer HR274H 3D Monitor EDID Override.inf Then if this works you probably have a bad cable.
I would make sure no other monitors are connected I would reboot after I applied the EDID file.

now it's frustrating because i have to wait for my wife to go to bed to be able to make my first try in 3D vision...
I'm having problems with EDID and HDR anyone know anything about this?
Might be possible to work around as I don't know any 3D Vision games with HDR.
I'm getting some graphical glitches so far will look around some more.
I finally seem to have a computer worthy of EDID override.
It never worked well on my GTX 980.

I have made a EDID based on my LG OLED C6 55". The goal was to have a unified driver for gaming and HTPC.
Changes made
Added - DTS-HD, DTS-X, True-HD, Atmos, Sony DSD passthrough. (Tested working with Sony STR-DN1080)
Added - Detailed resolution 3840 x 2160 23.976 with more precise clock. (No frame drops or repeats)
Removed- Some (useless?) resolution options to make room for detailed resolution.
Notes
- The detailed 24p resolution is listed under PC not HDMI.
- 3D movie playback works with Dsplayer(MadVR) using Line Alternative 3D format, 3840x2160 8 or 12 bit colour. A 0.1+ second refresh rate switching delay is required (dsplayer option) to stop the 3D playback bugging.
- I play all movies in 12 bit RGB full 23.976. So I can switch between 3D or HDR movies without changing any settings.
- 23Hz is removed from HDMI input refresh rates so when MadVR or Dsplayer request refresh change it switches to PC input. This allows running 8 bit RGB 60hz for general use and 3D gaming and then auto switches to 12 bit RGB for HDR and 3D movie playback.
- If using RGB 12-bit full HDR needs to be set to black level high on TV.

Hi everyone, first post here :)
First I'd like to thank you all for your tips & the custom EDIDs you posted here!
I have an LG OLED55E6V and 3D looks stunning in 4K thanks to you guys!
I think the experience could be even better if we could get 3D to render in fullHD just as well as in 4K...
In most games, 4K 3D rendering is too demanding on the GPU, and lowering down the resolution to fullHD actually breaks the 3D...
Have anyone succeeded to render 3DVision in fullHD on a 3D-passive 4K TV yet?
I guess it could technically work, since in my case, the default TV EDID actually succeeds to display 3D in fullscreen & fullHD in the 3DVision demo...
Do any of you have some ideas to make this work with custom EDIDs as well?
Maybe something like merging custom EDID with the default one or using a different interleave pattern in fullHD could work (?)
Thank you guys!
