Nvidia 3DTV Play problem
Hey all

Just bought a new custom built computer with SLI GTX 580s, and specifically went with nvidia cards so i could use 3DTV Play. I am hooked up Via HDMI to my samsung C7000 3D plasma.

I can't seem to get any game working in 3D. I paid for 3DTV play on the Nvidia website, went and did the downloading of the program, and got through the setup where i could see the 3d nvidia demo working. After that, nothing. I can't get nvidia to boot up it's 3d mode with any game, regardless of resolution. I have tried Audiosurf, fallout 3, halflife 2, and burnout paradise, and none will start in 3d. I tried each game in 1280x720, but nvidia doesn't want to boot up a game in 3d.

In the Nvidia control panel, i can't select ANY 3d stereoscopic options except to disable and enable it. The crosshair and custom options and everything else on the screen is grey and unselectable.

I tried tridef, and it works fine, but it doesn't support a lot of the games that nvidia does.

What am i doing wrong?

Hi

Lets start off with some basics.

Is your TV model listed on this support website?
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3dtv-play-requirements.html

On the NVIDIA Control Panel > Stereoscopic 3D > Set up stereoscopic 3D, there should be a section called display type. What is listed there? Does it say 3DTV Play or HDMI 1.4 display?
