Unfortunately, Nvidia doesn't support Daisy chaining. You might be able to use a MST Hub, like one of Club 3D's SenseVision products released a few months back. This would solve the 2 144hz monitor problem, but probably wouldn't work with 3D Vision. If your DVI output is Dual Link, use it with a Dual Link cable.
I wish I had DVI.
No, DP has the bandwith of dual-link DVI but halving it brings it closer to single link meaning no 144hz at all. I'm guessing a new computer is needed. Or you will have to make a significant tradeoff.[/quote Thing is I travel a lot and need a laptop. Unfortunately I never realized I would need a DVI input since I mainly used VGA or HDMI for 60hz monitors.

Yup, Flugan is right. I was confusing DP 1.2 with DP 1.3

Alright guys, thank you very much for your help! Some additional information for anyone that might come along and have a look. I've contacted Asus and received this response - adapters and splitters WILL throttle the bandwidth. So DVI cable with a DVI to HDMI adapter will not work, nor will a Displayport hub.
