Hi there,
i own a Nvidia 3d vision kit, but it seems like i ve lost the VESA 3-pin Sync cable. Can u give me a German supplier Adress to order a new cable?
Thx.
As far as i know this is quite useless cable - it`s to sync your monitor sound system with 3D sygnal. Most of displays are without speakers anyway. You can play 3D without it - i think everybody does.

Yes, it's frustrating. As far as I can tell, Windows users _don't_ need that cable (you use a USB path instead). But you *do* need it if running Linux, which means you're using a Quadro card. I could find _no official source_, neither from nvidia nor PNY, for the 3-pin-VESA-to-2.5mm-plug cable which the 3DVision emitter needs, but did find some on ebay.com. This looks to be the right kind of thing, though they are in the US and not in Germany:

As far as I know this has absolutely nothing to do with sound, it's an emitter sync cable. On an older TV like my own it has an emitter output to hook up an external IR emitter for IR glasses, but since it's also a DLP TV I can just use DLP-Link glasses and not need an emitter. Bottom line is you should only need the cable if you're getting red text across the screen that says your TV isn't in 3D mode, like I was, that's all it does, is tell the 3D Vision emitter your TV is in 3D mode, nothing else. Personally, I just made my own cable for real cheap with parts off of ebay, it just took a 2.5mm stereo patch cord and a 3-pin VESA connector and a bit of soldering.
